Best Western Liberty Inn DuPont JBLM

This is the second time this year we have stayed at the Best Western Liberty Inn Dupont location. Both times were excellent! Rooms are clean and very well maintained. Nice and big also. Kitchen and Breakfast area are comfortable. Water and coffee available all day. Ice machine is also right around the corner, bonus!! We have attended a conference in the meeting room both times and the staff goes out of their way to make it a perfect day! thank you so much!! GFWC Washington State

The location was in a quiet location but surrounded by many things so it did not feel like it was in the middle of nowhere. The atmosphere was good and the staff were friendly. They did tell us that the pool is under construction for the summer before we checked in and that was helpful. We might have gone somewhere else with a pool if we weren't already out of the car and a walk in customer. However, the room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The price seemed a little high for it being in the best western chain and each place is different. It was an older building and it felt like that but it was clean. The windows do open fully without screens. There are safety things on the bottoms of the window but small children could easily figure out how to push that up and open the window. Something we had to adjust and make sure our children didn't have access too.

This facilty is very nice and modern. The room was very clean and comfortable. Be warned that the pool and hot tub are not currently available..a major disappointment for our grandson. Did not access the breakfast as we slept in and it was over by the time we got up. The person who checked us in did not mention our Best Western loyalty status and we had to ask for our benefits.

Absolutely amazing place when I had a few issues with my card the staff tirelessly worked with me to ensure that everything got up-to-date and in order and just absolutely incredible. I was very impressed with the service and I can't wait to come again and bring clients and friends as well to the place.

This hotel is located in convenient DuPont Station which is very walkable for restaurants, a park, etc. The hotel is bright and clean with friendly staff. Stayed in room 310 which is large and clean. Beds were comfortable, bedding was good quality, shower pressure was good, room darkening curtains helped and soundproofing was adequate. The CONS were: as previous reviews state the pool is much too cold to swim in, although the hot tub was fine, which was disappointing after a long drive ☹️ AND seeing that management had previously responded to this issue with no changes made. The bath towels are small and skimpy. The breakfast room is spacious and inviting, but the "hot" food was all cold! The attendant acted like she was barely able to function and made only token gestures toward keeping things replenished...I opted for yogurt. Would recommend a stay here with the above notations.

This was a great hotel to stay for vacationing with the family in Washington. We would recommend it to anyone. Staff was super friendly and amenities were great!

We were in area after family vacation and this hotel was convenient for our needs. Clean and nice location. A little far of a drive to Mt Rainier but doable. Also nice restaurant walking distance. They also provide military family discount.

The room was clean. Breakfast was the same everyday. Pool was ice cold. Different staff member gave different excuses as to why. There was no hot water to shower in the mornings. The staff said it happens all the time when they are full.

We gathered the clan for Hanukkah, we lived the hotel for the pool, the big family suite rooms, the dining area. Breakfast was great with big tables and lots of choices, even for our vegans! We used the dining area in the evening for a potluck, which worked out great, and it was an easy cleanup after. This is our 4 th holiday gathering at the Liberty, since it is centrally located for our Western Washington families and close to the airport (45 min). Staff was friendly and so accommodating. We'll be back. D Nice pool and sauna? Cozy sitting areas for private conversations and room for the kids to stretch too. We loved the family suite rooms.

We stayed for 5 days while we helped our daughter move to a home in Dupont. The hotel was convenient to her house, was very quiet, security was good and door were easy to operate. It was a pleasure to stay somewhere that the side entrances were secured and the doors worked seamlessly. Location is within walking distance of places to eat which was not the case with the hotel my daughter initially stayed in while waiting for her furniture. Hotel had nice atmosphere and breakfast was one of the best I have seen at a hotel like this. Lots of staff were always ready to assist you. The furniture in the suite left something to be desired. The sofa and chairs were pretty uncomfortable and scaled down but that was of minimal concern to us. The place seemed to be very well managed. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The price was good and for the most part no problems. The food and drink is great and convenient at this location. I'm looking forward to staying at more best westerns in the future just because of the snacks. Don't feel like going out. Looks like it's burritos, popcorn and movie night. The beer and wine you'll have to find on your own :D

Best Western Liberty Inn is the perfect location to host events. Every single member of the team caters to my every need. The location is safe, clean and within walking distance of many restaurants. I wish I could take the team with me when I travel to other hotels.

The staff is very pleasant and helpful there. The breakfast is hot and fresh and love that they have yogurt as an option. They have vending machines and coffee accessible at anytime you need. The room is so clean and definitely will be booking there again.

BW Liberty Inn has shown great concern for the travelers and provides a wonderful hot breakfast, they have food for everyone's tastes. Staff is responsive and helpful and even recommended ways to stay that will save me money in the future. I look forward to future stays.

My stay here was wonderful. From the time I stepped into the lobby and the front desk greeted me, to the wonderful Sophia that kept my room on point and stocked with fresh towels, the staff at this Best Western made staying there like being at home. Of course I can't leave a review without saying a special thank you to the ladies that handle breakfast every morning. The food was hot, fresh, plentiful, and tasty... Thanks ladies for the wonderful breakfasts that I had during my stay.

Wife and I stayed 11 nights. Room and facility were clean and like new. Common areas were all clean the whole time. Breakfast was excellent as hotel breakfasts go. Staff kept it clean, food kept up, and quick to help. Front desk staff friendly and helpful with check in and check out smooth. Refrigerator issue was handled within minutes of being reported. Location is quiet with excellent walking distance eating places. I notice the bad reviews are 3 years or more old and not indicative of my experience. The only downside was location of sinks in main room instead of bathroom.

The entire house keeping staff was great throughout our six day stay. Our room was spotless each day, so did the hallway and main lobby facilities. One of the most comfortable bed I've been able to sleep in. Far better than any of my recent experiences at Hampton Inn, Hilton Garden Inn, or Hyatt Place. Niva from front desk was excellent with our initial check in and later with our stay extension. It was so good we decided to extend it two more nights! Location worked wonders to move around Seattle/Tacoma/Olympia area and even to an Astoria trip. We are definitely looking forward to stay at BW Liberty again!

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was courteous and thoughtful. We were housed for two days and two nights and found it a very wonderful experience. We would stay here in a heartbeat again. Thank you for being comfortable away from home.

In my opinion, one of the more upscale and luxurious Best Westerns. It's easy to see why it's a BW PLUS. Very unique, safe and welcoming setting among shops and condos, yet very close to and with quick access to I-5, and with ample parking. Huge lobby, huge breakfast area with fresh hot food and great selection. Room was huge with an almost triangular shape, huge bathroom., and huge window. Very comfy temp. Beds were great as always. We only had to stay one night, but with the great staff, great pool and hot tub and fitness center we could easily stay here multiple nights. This hotel is just one more brick in our BW Loyalty Wall. Grade: a strong and solid A.

I stayed at this hotel for six (6) nights. This hotel was truly an outstanding accommodation. This hotel had a saltwater pool and a hot tub. I used this gym's treadmill, but since the weight machine was broken, I got to go for free to the nearby Anytime Fitness. My room was serviced every single day, and my room was very clean. This hotel was quiet. My room had air-conditioning and heat, it had hot water, and I enjoyed watching my favorite television shows. The Wi-Fi worked fine. I really enjoyed the breakfast, and it was unbelievably great. I enjoyed the potatoes, the eggs, the pancakes, the waffles, the biscuits, the English muffins, the small bagels, the bananas, the apple juice, the milk, and the water. The front desk workers were very accommodating. This hotel had plenty of restaurants within its vicinity, and DuPont was a nice municipality in which a person could take a walk. There was an office, a meeting room, a laundry room, and many snack machines. I never utilized any public transit, but there was a bus station right next to this hotel. The military base was nearby, and Seattle was about fifty (50) minutes away on the nearby Interstate-5. Within a few hours, I was also easily able to visit Portland, Olympic National Park, and Mount Rainier National Park. This hotel was located within a complex of apartments, and parking was of no issue. If I had any comments for suggestions, they would be minimal, but I would encourage this hotel to have some pastries at breakfast, and I would also like the floor at this hotel's pool to be less slippery. I would definitely stay here again, if I ever returned to this area.

When arriving on property the outside and inside of hotel were very clean. The front desk let us check in early after they texted us asking if there was anything they could do to improve our upcoming stay. The rooms were clean and up to date. And breakfast and pool were also great!

They have a suite with a jacuzzi tub that is so affordable and nice. We were looking all over Tacoma/Olympia for an affordable option to do a little mini-vacation over the weekend, and this Best Western is honestly one of the best hotels I've stayed in. And it was affordable!

The staff was wonderful. Respectful and courteous from the moment I checked in until the time I left. The location was perfect with several restaurants near by and a great walking trail.

DuPont is such a cute town with many beautiful parks, hiking trails and restaurants. DuPont is also home to the Home Course one of the best golf courses in WA State with another historical & quaint seaside town “Stellicoom” close by. The staff at the BW Liberty DuPont JBLM were very helpful and the breakfast from 6 to 9:30am each morning had everything one could ask for. We will definitely be returning.

We were here for a quick overnight trip. I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel! The neighborhood surrounding the hotel is clean, and I felt very safe. We arrived later in the night. The check in took only a few minutes. I requested a room higher up and away from the elevator (just my personal preference) and they made sure that's what we got. This hotel is incredibly clean! Everything is bright and cheery. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast is included. It's just your basics but kept well stocked and attended. They have a few non dairy alternatives and you can ask for some gluten free items. There are a few nice restaurants within walking distance. Starbucks a few blocks away. We have a few basketball tournaments in Tacoma over the next few months and I have already booked here! Highly recommend for family trips.

Clean and friendly! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The whole place seemed clean, which after we've stayed in some nasty places. This made us feel comfortable and helped to keep us relaxed. They have a pretty large breakfast setup and seating area. They have good amenities and the hours of those amenities make them easy to use.

Very laid back stay in quiet Dupont. Found several walking trails around to get you moving. Great central location when visiting family in Lacey/Olympia area without the hustle&bustle This was our 2nd stay at Dupont BW and plan on returning.

Recommend this Best Western highly. Great location with wonderful staff. The room was very comfortable, very clean, and quiet. If our travels bring us back to the area we would definitely be a repeat guest.

Very friendly accommodating staff that will do everything within their ability to make guests happy. Has big clean indoor pool. The Beds and couch were not the most comfortable but aside from that everything else was great!

The location of this hotel is great - right off of I-5 and close to restaurants and take-out food options. Felt very safe and knew that my car was safe in their well-lit parking lot. Very friendly staff, great breakfast food/much variety.

Nice place to stay. GPS took me around in circles trying to get to BW but once I found it it was a pleasant stay. This BW is conveniently located next to the Interstate. The location seemed safe and was quiet.

I book this hotel for a business meeting. The entire staff was a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond to accommodate my group. We were met with friendly smiles and warm greetings. The staff meet every need we may have had with having to be be asked.

Stayed at the Best Western in Dupont, WA for 2 nights. The hotel is located within walking distance of several restaurants. Excellent location, excellent neighborhood and excellent community. Since we had time to kill, we went for a walk in the neighborhood and found a park with walking trails a short distance away. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

The location is beautiful even the front entrance is inviting with landscape and evening lighting. The King room was accommodating and well lit. The fridge was smaller than normal tho. We enjoyed the refreshing indoor pool and spa. Full breakfast was offered with lots of choices and usually there were 4 chafing dish hot items included. Staff was friendly.

For some reason, every hotel was booked like my usual Hilton doubles - Home 2 Suites and Hampton Inn, so I was happy I was able to spend one night in this hotel as bought off Priceline. The room was sufficient for one night stay and the beds were very comfortable. Being a Hilton Honors member, I am used to staying at Hilton properties and this property was upto Hilton standards minus the price. The staff was welcoming and the place is clean so no complaints.

Overall this is a very good hotel , however the pillows in our room were very hard and lumpy. I advise you to bring your own pillow, other than that everything else was great! The pool was very nice and the staff are great.

I stayed at this hotel for a work conference and the employees were very helpful. They answered all my questions and the housekeeping was amazing. I didn't have to wait or even ask for fresh towels. Definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone

We needed to stay in an ADA room but due to a snafu in room listings, one was not available when we arrived. The empathetic receptionist put us in a lovely upgraded room, near the elevator and near the breakfast room, which made it much handier for an 85-year old with a rollator.

Good breakfast choices, such as eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt (individual); large, quiet roomy room; great shower pressure; friendly, helpful staff; close to freeway on-ramp but couldn't hear it, yummy teriyaki restaurant nearby.

Sometimes you're predisposed to rave about a property – not necessarily unjustified - because you had already been turned down countless times by other establishments elsewhere due to lack of vacancies. This was exactly what transpired that night, when we had decided to venture upon the freedom of the open roads, albeit without arranging lodging reservations beforehand on a busy summer weekend. So much for the spirit of spontaneity. We had originally decided to explore historic downtown Tacoma, but due to lack of room availability in its vicinities, we were forced to seek shelter elsewhere, first in South Tacoma, then in Lakewood, then past the joint bases, and then finally in DuPont. During the course of our interminable search for a room, we had to venture into so many scary motel lobbies – even those belonging to ostensibly reputable national chains – with even sketchier clientele, often in various states of addiction and inebriation. Yes, it was a Saturday night, but we were entirely unaware of the utter breadth and scope of the diversity of magnitudes of desperation (including those of our own) in Pierce County, until that fateful evening. When the friendly clerk at this Best Western decided to take us in, we were at the point where we were ready to drop to our knees to convey our eternal gratitude. Perhaps it was ultimately a blessing that we ended up here, lest we were allowed into one of the preceding insalubrious properties, and who knows what horrors would have subsequently befallen upon us therein. While most of the guests here are decidedly American middle-of-the-road middle class, it does boast generous amenities for a suburban establishment, including an indoor pool, free breakfast, and cozy nooks in the lobby to work. While it wouldn't have had mattered much by that point in the evening, this lodge does cover all the basics: cleanliness, fair room temperature controls, noise levels under control (mostly parents with business related to the JBLM), reasonably comfortable bed, good toilet pressure and water temperature controls in the bathroom, sufficient supply of towels, acceptable lighting options in the rooms, just enough electrical outlets to charge your piles of modern junk, workable wi-fi, decent housekeeping, and helpful staff. God bless this place.

This was a clean and upbeat location. The off-street parking was a plus. There were several fast food locations nearby. The Grille inside the hotel was great! I was able to have a drink and a snack at the bar and share good conversation with other travelers. The room was clean and very spacious. I especially appreciated the high ceilings and updated amenities in the rooms. The Fitness Center was clean and offered several machines to work out on as well as complimentary earbuds.

Great location near JBLM and easy access to I-5. Clean, modern rooms. Pleasant staff. Varied breakfast offerings. Enjoyed location and proximity to so much that north western Washington offers. Worked well for us.

This hotel is conveniently located near small restaurants and other shops the rooms were clean, loved the jacuzzi tub in the room, The staff was friendly, the breakfast bar was great. They had scrambled eggs sausage patties on one morning, small breakfast burritos the next, coffee is exceptional. We will definitely stay there again

Friendly staff and overall excellent visit. Facility is super clean. Buffet breakfast service and area was comfortable and provided good guest seating. The seating helped to maintain social distancing from others while enjoying the available products and fellowship of other guests. Location was perfect for visiting family in the area. For me, the no pet policy was instrumental, critical in the decision to stay at this facility. Last visit endured stench of sharing a facility without this type of policy.

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel 3x total of 7 days this year. The staff if very friendly and quit to help, the hotel lobby is clean and well situated, and the free breakfast is great. I think DuPont is a nice quiet town to stay and convenient right off the interstate. DuPont has alot of amenities close by.

The staff was kind and helpful. The rooms were large, a very good size for the price. The pool was especially good for a hotel in this price range and the morning breakfast included was expansive. I would def stay there again when I return to the area!

Clean hotel with friendly employees and a great breakfast selection. Disappointed that pool was closed for entire stay of a week and hate the new Covid protocols that your room doesn't get cleaned while you are there for an extended time.

Stayed at the best western liberty inn, in Dupont as part of the stay and play golf package with the home course. Great deal. Very nice place to stay some good restaurants in walking distance and the Home Course is a great golf course. But it would have been nice if they had given us a few more mulligans upon check in :-)

We spent 4 night here as it was convenient to Steilacoom and the highway to Tacoma. We booked a large two queen room that had lots of space for the family. The area had restaurants and shops which was helpful.

Very welcoming staff at front counter, rooms were clean and breakfast area was well managed with fresh food and clean serving/dining area. We all enjoyed our stay and will definitely return to this Best Western in the future!!

Very pleasant stay. Well-managed facility in a pleasant setting. Only a minute or two off I-5, but quiet, secluded, and apparently quite safe. The staff was friendly and polite, Everything was clean and in good working order. Plenty of parking. Plenty of choices at breakfast. We've stayed at Best Westerns all over the country and this one was as nice as any and better than most.

I originally had a reservation at Fairbridge down the street and when I checked in at midnight, they didn't have a room for me even though I had a reservation. I called Bestwestern and got a room. I was tired from driving 20 hours and extremely upset that this was how my vacation was beginning. I was venting to the front desk lady and she was so understanding and friendly. It's what I needed at that moment. My son recently got stationed at JBLM so I will be taking frequent trips to Washington and this is where I will be staying, just because that employee made all the difference in my night.

I would stay here again and would recommend it over other hotels in the area. It was clean, safe, and the room was spacious, especially since we were attending a wedding so had more than the usual amount of luggage.

Great location, went all over the place, and found it easy to come back to the hotel. Clean, quiet, and a hot tub! What more could you ask for? This location is near a shopping plaza, not many open late restaurants so do not wait to eat.

The staff are friendly. The room was clean. The jacuzzi was clean. The breakfast options are great. The surrounding location feels safe. The parking lot was well lit at night. Coffee was perfectly brewed.

Really enjoyed staying here. I was really amazed at the price of the King Suite with the jetted tub and fireplace. Better price than a standard king suite with less amenities at other branded hotels..

We received great service from ALL the Best Western staff. We have stayed at Best Western many times over the years and are always satisfied. We always chose Best Western when it is available when we travel.

When I first arrived at the hotel at 4 PM it was a great check in however I had to check out at five to be at work by seven my bathroom had other peoples hair my room head I am bored with no iron my scrubs need it and iron The breakfast experience was horrible I actually had to end up buying breakfast at the Jack-in-the-Box around the corner because the Breakfast was not put out by 6 AM only three items were out highly disappointment

Although this hotel is small, it had everything you could want for a nights stay. The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful making sure we had everything we wanted. The breakfast staff even had a basket of gluten free items which I was glad of being gluten intolerant. The room was very quiet and even though it faced a road there was no traffic noise. The air conditioner/heater was also extremely quiet and the curtain kept the room nice and dark. My only fault with this hotel is the lack of signage, we went around it several times trying to find our way into it. The hotel is very new and the town is very small but it seemed to have everything we needed nearby.

The property, room, and service were awesome. We were very happy with our experience. The breakfast was as expected, mostly warmed frozen savory stuff, some breads/pastries, and a waffle station. The breakfast was on par with others. There are quite a few places to eat within a few blocks in this little planned community. Very walkable. We had some good pizza. We will definitely go back if we are in the area. We loved the two queen suite with fireplace. Definitely worth the extra $. Our daughter got the bed around the corner in the bedroom nook and enjoyed not being right next to us like in most rooms.

I found the staff very friendly and caring. The hotel was very clean and felt safe with the Covid conditions.The rooms had lots of space, were clean and comfortable. I definitely would stay at this hotel again!

The front desk people were always very nice and helpful when I needed something or when I asked a question. The room was very clean and spacious as there are only doubles and king suites and I was just one person in a double queen.

The rooms were amazing, clean and comfortable. The beds were great and the pillows were plentiful. The free hot breakfast every morning was amazing. It was a very comfortable stay and I will definitely stay here when I am in Washington State for business in the future.

We had a huge room with super comfortable beds and high qualify sheets. The room was very clean as was the entire hotel. The room was quiet and easy to find from the lobby. My family enjoyed the hot breakfast and I was given a tray to take food up to my kids in the room. I was surprised the pool and hot tub were open and will take advantage of them in the future. This is one the the best hotels I have ever stayed at and highly recommend it.

Multi-day stay while visiting our son at Joint Base Lewis McChord. This property was really outstanding and a very good price. The hotel was immaculate from lobby to dining room to guest room. It's location is ideal with restaurants and other amenities within a few blocks. The town of DuPont has a excellent trail system accessible from the hotel without driving. Best of all, less than 5 minutes from the front gate at JBLM, made this visit perfect. Will definitely choose this hotel whenever we come here in the future.

Set in a quiet neighborhood near I-5 this was a really nice hotel. We spent 3 nights here with our golder retriever. Pleanty of grassy areas around to walk him. The room was very clean and VERY quiet. We did not try the breakfast or the indoor pool. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We will stay here again.

Friendly staff - they went out of their way to make sure I had peppermint tea in the evening. Comfortable pillow top bed. The breakfast was great and included waffles with plenty of toppings, biscuits and sausage gravy, rosemary fried potatoes, cold and hot cereal, pastries, fruit, yoghurt and several beverage choices.

Thank you to this excellent property. Everybody is friendly and professional. The property is clean and updated and fresh. It is in a delightful , clean and safe neighborhood, very close to joint Base Lewis McCord, (jblm), as well as Tacoma as well as Lacey and Olympia Washington. In the middle of a heat wave the air conditioner in the room works great. In the middle of a covid pandemic all of the management is masked, with the masking signs as asked for by state guidelines, and everybody is polite and considerate.

Hotel poorly set up and accommodated. First room in long time that did not have makeup mirror or bottled water for guests. Had to use tap water to utilize the provided coffee. The room was clean. The room was set up more like an under $100. room with the sinks and large mirror outside the bathroom and in front of the beds. If one person wanted to get ready early, everyone had to participate.

This location made a great hub while we explored Olympic National Park, Seattle and some of the surrounding areas. The fire was a great touch especially for my kids when we came in a little later after a evening fairy ride. Warmed them right up.

Gorgeous, clean, stay here!! Stayed here with our family of 5. Was extremely impressed with the appearance of the hotel, cleanliness, details that made it feel like a true luxury hotel (magnification mirror in the suite). Beds were comfortable, water pressure was great, neighborhood and parking lot felt safe, good proximity to the services and the highway. We stayed at 9 hotels on our tour of the Pacific Northwest and this was by far our favorite!!

My husband, daughter and I traveled to the Tacoma area to deliver household items to my son who lives in Tacoma. During that time we celebrated my husband's birthday. We brought our dogs with us. The desk clerk provided me with 2 bags that contained dog treats and poop bags. I've never received this at any other hotel. The dogs liked the room as much as we did. The hotel was peaceful and quiet during our stay. We will stay here again.

Great place awesome staff and clean rooms. Arrived early with a college golf team and the staff got as many rooms early as possible. Breakfast lady was supper nice. Hotel is walking distance to many food options.

This location is amazing. It is close to the Joint Base Lewis McChord. The staff here is very friendly and knowledgeable. The helped out with questions about the area and recommendations of where to find certain items that were needed for our job. The rooms were very clean and the hotel is very safe. "Grab and Go" breakfast was a welcome surprise. We thought that there would be no options because of COVID but Best Western did not disappoint. Vending machines were well stocked and had many choices. Helped out when we would arrive back to our rooms late at night after a long day of work. There are many restaurants with in a two minute walk from the hotel. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. The queen room was very spacious and comfortable. The free WiFi was very fast and we never experienced any issues with it. Overall, our stay was amazing and we will be back there in September when we come back for business!!

We enjoyed ourselves! The staff was very friendly and the rooms very clean. The only issue we had was with the wifi. Other than that, I give our stay a 10! We will definitely be going back to stay at this establishment!

Comfortable bed, clean hotel, but grab and go breakfast was amazing with warm breakfast sandwich, packaged pastries, cereal/oatmeal, juices, yogurt s, hot chocolate, coffee, and snack bars for later on the road or flight!

Our room was very nicely furnished, very clean, and quiet. Since our visit was during COVID, the breakfast in a bag was very nice - something for everyone. Hotel is within walking distance to a number of restaurants.

I had a great stay here. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was nice. The only thing is that some of our towels were dirty and had nasty looking stains when we got there. Other than that I had a wonderful stay.

The hotel and room were clean. The location was not obvious because the city is planned and the neighborhood contains lots of trees. Easy on and off freeway. If you like German food, head a little way south on I-5 to Nisqually (not Old Nisqually, keep going), then straight on Martin way to German Diner. The room fee included vouchers for free golf at The Home Course. Be sure to reserve the room via The Home Course's website link. Covigeddon = sack breakfast of muffins, granola bar, and bottled water.

After a 1500 mile drive from Arizona, we had to make last minute lodging arrangements for our visit with my daughter and her family at JBLM. We arrived at 6am and no one allowed check-in until after 3pm. We were exhausted and in need of some rest, luckily, we found Best Western Liberty DuPont!! They allowed us to check in early. The staff is very friendly, very knowledgeable, the rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, they are very accommodating, decent price, great location and overall a very welcoming feeling. I can't say enough how grateful I am for all they did for my family and I. Thank you from all of us for a fantastic visit!! Thank you for all you did to make our situation the best it could possibly be.

Rented a room with a king bed and a jacuzzi tub and it was huge! The facility seemed very clean, as did the tub. The king size bed was very comfortable. Due to COVID, they couldn't do a normal breakfast so were given grab bags with a banana, bottle of water, mini-blueberry muffins, and a protein granola bar or Nutrigrain bar. Starbucks or McDonalds we're both close for other options. Neighborhood was very nice and we enjoyed walking to a restaurant for dinner. Our only complaint would be the location of the smoking area. It may not be within 25 feet of the front door, but it is right by where you unload your car.

Had a family with multiple rooms, banging doors throught stay. Kid knocked on my door to solicit for his website). - Breakfast. Brown sack w/ banana, water, and breakfast bar. Other hotels are doing far more and better in this regard. Prior to COVID it was pretty decent.

I have stayed at this location before. I visit my boyfriend who is stationed on the Military base nearby. It's very convenient and the staff have always been very nice to us. This time was different as we are in the middle of a pandemic and staff is going beyond to ensure safety of their guests. I did miss the hot breakfasts but they did offer a prepackaged alternative which was nice. I know I will be back soon!

The front desk and housekeeping made sure that we had everything we needed. Even during the pandemic. Very clean room, nice water pressure, great tv. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay. Hopefully next time we can use the indoor pool!

We love this hotel and highly recommend it! Had to travel to Washington during height of virus outbreak because daughter had baby early. We kept our 3 yr old grandchild while mom/dad/baby had to stay in hospital for 3 days. We stayed in our hotel room almost the entire time to follow stay-at-home requirements. The staff were so gracious & friendly, they gave us a big suite which allowed toddler to run around and not feel cooped up! We have stayed at this hotel before and loved it then and continue to HIGHLY recommend for staying during both great and unusual times!! Its location is so ideal with many restaurants both chain & home grown within walking distance. Beds were very comfy for helping weary grandparents sleep well even with all of the anxiety of both unusual events.

The staff was kind, friendly, and helpful. Robin is awesome and made sure breakfast was enjoyable every morning. It was an easy checkout and checkin process. Great location and close to restaurants. Parking was always available.

Rooms in Tacoma were booked, found this new place in DuPont south Of Tacoma near Fort Lewis. The area around the hotel is one of those new city commuter towns it has a express bus to downtown Tacoma and downtown Seattle it could be used for sightseeing very close to interstate five the breakfast was exceptional rooms are clean area is safe highly recommended.

We love this hotel. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast is very, very good. Lots of variety of things and the items offered each day are different. Would recommend this hotel!!!!! We have stayed here each year for State Wrestling tournament and love it!!!

If you have a need to visit JBLM or the Tacoma/Settle area this is a great hotel in a very nice neighborhood. Very easy on and off the freeway. Many places to eat in walking distance and safe areas to walk both day and night.

so im thrilled to write this for everyone. i am so excited to tell you this place is a REAL GEM! driving here was quick and easy its rt off the I 5 when you walk in immediately greeted by one and all. and everything i do mean everything is SPOTLESS! check in was less than 5 minutes. parking spot excellent. pool a little cool but warm after getting in. hot tub hot! clean people SUPER CLEAN! BREAKFAST WAS typical but HOT! fresh and...AGAIN CLEAN! super staff like a team of super heroes making sure you have everything you want. only one thing on the con list...you do hear traffic..but that is expected. we really appreciated miss Joann she went above and beyond for us! stay here and you won't be disappointed at all and we will definitely be back!

This place is awesome! Easy on and off the freeway. Restaurants nearby. The staff is warm, friendly and always helpful. Great breakfast. Lots of choices. Pet friendly. We have stayed at this location so many times, the staff knows us on sight. Beds are comfortable. Rooms are always clean.

Overall a great experience and would return again. Pet friendly and free breakfast! The staff were always available to render assistance or a great smile. Situated just off I5 and outside the DuPont Gate at JBLM.

The hotel itself is your standard Best Western...nothing to write home about, but clean and nice enough. The staff was great though---we had a group of 30+ that arrived past 2 AM as our flight was severely delayed. The front desk person was friendly, helpful and efficient which was much appreciated because she had a group of exhausted parents and skaters with early mornings the next day. Also, I assumed that since we had a very early morning the next day, everything might not be out and ready for us for the breakfast that was served 6-9 (we needed to be out the door at 6:15). By 5:45 when we came downstairs there was food to be had and the full breakfast was completely ready to go right at 6. The breakfast ladies were also friendly and helpful. We took the automatic checkout. Overall, a great stay.

Great place/value awesome staff. Check-in/out was very efficient. Staff was very attentive. Facility was well organized and clean. Room was clean, bed great, some minor details of room may have been somewhat dated like tile in bathroom floor, but overall I would recommend and stay here again for sure.

Very nice hotel in a nice area, seemed safe. Room was very quiet despite being next to the elevator, ice, vending, breakfast room and lobby. Breakfast was all the usual, and included eggs, meat, and some canned fruit . Location wasn't suoer close to the shopping we needed, but it was a short-ish drive south to find what we needed . Had a pet friendly room. (There was a slight odor, but it wasn't offensive )

We were moved to 3 rooms and all 3 had cleanliness/maintenance issues.Housekeeping had not done their job as they should have. Cleaning rags left inside spa. Management was very accomodating and quick to try to resolve all issues,

The place is very nice from the outside and inside. The bathroom was clean and stocked with towels. The breakfast was great especially the waffle maker. This hotel had everything I needed for my trip.

Overall, nothing amazing or un-amazing about this place. The room was very nice. I like the location - Dupont Station is pretty cool. Their breakfast was a bit iffy, I mean, it wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't super great. Overall, the location and the room were the standouts for me.

My family visited this hotel last weekend during a few college soccer games in the area. We were greeted by the cheerful, professional and attentive Joann. When we left after our one night stay, we were checked out by the affable Shenelle. This hotel is clean, comfortable and convenient. The room was spotless, the breakfast in the morning delicious, with something for everyone. My kids were especially fond of the fresh fruit and the waffles. Not to mention, the neighborhood is great for dog walking (yes-pet friendly) and picking up groceries or getting gas. Oh-and a Starbucks down the street. We'll be back!

For various reasons we find ourselves needing to stay overnight in DuPont. Until just recently I didn't even know this hotel was there. You can drive right by and possibly miss it. But it has now become our go to for the area due to convenience, cost and cleanliness. Very pleasant staff and the rooms very comfortable.

I stay at the Dupont location every week, while in the area for my work, and am very pleased overall. When I do encounter the occasional issue, they are very quick to figure out how to fix it. I highly recommend this hotel!

Hotel is close to great food and ambiance.Conveniently located close to JBLM for those that need a great TDY hotel. Complimentary breakfast is a little above average. Indoor pool, and high speed internet.

this hotel was wonderful. the staff upgraded me due to my status that no one ever mentioned to me before. the only downside is the pool. a bit small and every where is a splash zone so i wouldn't bring a book to read. but overall the hotel is a new stop for us

Had an issue with my work issued travel card. Front desk agent laughed at the problem. Poor attitude because I "dropped my card on the counter" which apparently meant treat the customer bad. You probably won't have the same experience if you're on business to JBLM for DOD travel. But apparently don't drop your credit card on the counter or the front desk will be angry.

I really liked this hotel. Beautiful and nice big rooms. Very clean and very quiet despite being right next to I5. Plenty of food options within easy walking distance. I'd most definitely stay here again next time I'm in town.

We had a fabulous stay at this hotel. The facility was very tidy. The staff was beyond polite and accommodating. Our room was clean. The beds were comfortable. There is adequate parking. It is within walking distance to numerous restaurants and shops. It was an overall pleasant environment. We will definitely being staying here on future trips to the area.

I stayed there the last two nights. The stay was very nice. I enjoyed having a continental breakfast. For dinner there are several great places within the hotel walking distance. I would most definitely stay here again if in the area for work.

This is a great Hotel and the staff are very nice, polite, and helpful! The breakfast was good, fresh, and very well stocked. I want to give Shenelle Williams a special thank you! Shenelle went out of her way to help us out with our needs.

Overall this hotel was clean and in a nice area. You can walk to several restaurants and businesses. Their are parks near by and it is easy off freeway. Fairly quiet with nice size room. First person at front desk was wonderful and called us when our room was ready. Second person later at check in was not friendly at all.

Upon arrival, the staff was flirting with the customer for 45 minutes. Upon waiting patiently with a kid, I get to the front and ask for a room. They rolled their eyes and gave me the smelliest one. Go to the pool and there are unattended children in there. Try to sleep and dogs bark all flippin night. Positives.. smoking area, la e.g. ge pool, larger hot tub, pretty entrance area, rooms are on the larger side. Sure some of it wasn't their fault, for the most of it wasn't. But I wont be coming back.

Used this Best Western to stay overnight for a wedding at the Joint Base Lewis McChord. Only 3.8 miles from the base. Even though this hotel is by I-5, my room was not noisy. A person can walk from this hotel to the cute downtown Dupont.

The hotel is located in a quaint, little town right off of the freeway. They have a nice pool and hot tub that my kids thoroughly enjoyed as well as free breakast with lots of options. My room was clean and their staff is very friendly (all of them always smiling). We definitely recommend this hotel to others!

Traveling with kids, we chose this hotel because it had a pool and not because of its proximity to our day-time scheduled activities. What a disappointment. The pool deck was not even close to clean, the water was yellowish-green in colour and when you weren't having to navigate around clumps of hair in the water you were reminded of the slimy bottom and accumulations of unknown sediment under your feet. We pulled the kids and ourselves from the pool mere minutes after getting in. The time in the pool was far exceeded by the time washing it off in the shower after. Just, nope.

The staff went above and beyond to make everything wonderful. The breakfast was amazing and Jenny was an excellent hostess! Cleanliness was evident everywhere. Thank you for one of the best hotel experiences ever! Everyone in our large group also had a very nice experience. Looking forward to staying again and seeing the results of the renovation.

This hotel is located right off the I-5. Very convenient. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are big. Our double queen had two extra soft chairs and a desk along with tv, microwave, coffee maker. Breakfast was very good. Different items each day.

We had a large group stay here for about 5 days. Most of the front desk staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was very good with an excellent variety of food. The rooms were nice and spacious. We definitely appreciated them alloyus to gather in the dining area in the evenings. A great room for the price.

I booked a suite for my daughter's 14th birthday. I found a really nice deal on Expedia. The room was very nice, 2 queen beds with wall separation, a couch with a fold-out bed and fireplace (6 guests total). The receptionist was very helpful, she gave us great options for ordering food in. We also found a really good Mexican restaurant right across the street practically. They let us use the pool past the time as long as we kept quiet, which was a real treat. The morning breakfast buffet was included and full of yummy options including making your own waffles on the spot. The staff was super friendly, they also kindly gave us a later check out time so we were able to spend more time in the pool (clean, nice and warm). We will definitely use this hotel again!!

This hotel is quiet and very clean. King bed was comfortable but needs a thicker blanket and better pillows, the room is very spacious. Room amenities are accurate as described. However the Wi-Fi / internet was not working.

Everything about our stay was excellent. The room was very spacious, comfortable and cozy. The location was easily accessible and in a very nice newer community. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The breakfast had something for everyone. The price was hard to beat.

We stayed with some out of town guests in a suite. Had the 2nd queen in a separate space which was nice when we were getting ready early in the morning. Our guests were able to continue to sleep. The room space was quite large. Very nice with extra people in the room. Lots of seating for all. Bathrooms were nice. The indoor pool was great. Property very nice. The breakfast was a standard hotel breakfast but it was included in the nightly rate.

We are local,but had to find a place to stay overnight on the mainland after attending an outstanding Christmas concert at Pacific Lutheran University on a Friday night. This hotel is very nice and a great value. Room had a fireplace, excellent bed and the breakfast was tops. Very clean, well-maintained. It's in the downtown area of Dupont, near some nice places for good casual eating as well as fast food. The front desk staff was very pleasant. And the winter price was right.

This was an unexpected stay while I was with my partner, who is a truck driver. We were supposed to be staying in his sleeper, but things happened and another driver needed the truck for a run that night. We ended up here for the night. I had called as soon as we booked the room to let them know we probably wouldn't be in until at least 1. Due to more unforeseen issues, we didn't actually show up until around 3. Because of this, during their night audit they marked us as no shows which meant we could have ended up without a room... However, the awesome night clerk (I'm so sorry I forgot your name!) set us up in a room even though the computer system seemed to not be very cooperative. She left notes for the day manager about what had happened and told us that manager would clear up the weird charges that happened while she was working on the reservation. She gave us our keys and we went and passed out. The day manager, Shennele, was beyond accommodating as well. We went down at 9 to have breakfast before it closed and then went and talked to her. She immediately knew who we were, and had already reversed the extra charges and had it printed out for us. Check out was at 11 but she said we could stay until 12:30(which was when my partner thought we'd need to head out to get the truck) so that we could get some more sleep. We ended up leaving around 11 anyways due to work issues, but the offer was very appreciated. The room itself was clean and comfortable. I liked the bed and the shower had good pressure and lots of hot water which was a bonus. Breakfast was better than most free breakfasts I've come across at hotels: hash browns, sausages, waffles, biscuits and gravy, toast juice, coffee, hot chocolate. They even had a yogurt machine! The price was great, too. But the service and willingness to help was above and beyond. If I'm ever in the area and need a place to stay, this will be the first place I look. I've even told family that if they're ever over here that this is the place to go. Thank you for helping us and thank you for having such great staff and rooms.

My grandson and I visited the Tacoma area to go to Museums.We stayed here Saturday and Sunday night.Saturday night I discovered I had forgotten a plug in for my phone charger cable.Went to the front desk ,and Chris loaned me one.I was quite happy.Then around 11 my grandson was starving,and McDonald's here closed at 11 pm,so Again I went to the front desk.The night clerk,I forget her name,went to the breakfast area and got him a bowl of cereal with milk,and a Danish.It totally hit the spot.It was a very peaceful place,and the hot tub and pool were a added bonus.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast was good, many to choose from. Staff was very friendly and accommodation, with very quick check in. The kids had a blast at the pool, which was well maintained.

I have been driving up and down I-5 between Portland and Seattle for over 20 years. Normally I stay in Kent or Seattle. I regret only recently discovering this hotel. It will now be my go to hotel in the area.Having stayed at Best Western properties for easily 75 nights a year, I can say that this property is underrated. Besides the amenities of the hotel itself. There are easily 20 places to eat within walking distance.

We stayed for 5 nights and 6 days in this hotel. It was very clean, staff was friendly and readily available for questions. The breakfast that was served every morning was excellent. They served something for everyone. We will definitely stay again and recommend to others.

This hotel was very clean and had great accommodating staff. Our king bed room was huge and very comfortable. The room was very quiet and we were even near the elevator and near the vaulted ceiling opening to the lobby. The breakfast was okay, however there was a very wide selection of food. The best thing about this hotel was the easy access to base. You didn't even have to get onto the highway or deal with traffic. I am sure we will stay here again as we had a great stay!

Best Western Truly is a Home Away From Home! I stayed there a few nights ago and just wish I could've stayed longer! My King Spa Room did have an Odor that I didn't appreciate but Elena moved us to an upgraded room that was so beautiful. I enjoyed the fireplace! She made sure we were well taken care of and accommodated. Im so thankful! The lobby is so open and beautiful the hotel looks new. The entrance of the hotel is tricky to find if you're coming off exit 118. But it's right next to apartment buildings. The breakfast was so delicious and breakfast host/attendant was super friendly. Thank your entire staff for me! I will be back!

Employees are friendly and accommodating and this hotel has a warm, cozy feel. This is my favorite hotel in DuPont and I travel there every month and have stayed at multiple hotels in the area. I will be back again next month!

I have never stayed anywhere that I have felt more welcome. Kris at the front desk was exceptionally helpful. The room was beautiful, clean comfortable. When I asked for extras (pillow, towel and coffee) during check in, Kris delivered them herself! I had asked for recommendations for dinner and she seemed to read my mind on what I wanted. I cannot express enough on my fantastic stay at this best western in Dupont, WA. Their way of showing respect, care and professionalism is beyond imaginable. Kris and Elena at the front desk are simply the best and would always greet me when I leave and return. They would always ask how my stay would be or if there is anything they could do for me. Theresa, Emily and the rest of the housekeeping/breakfast team has made my stay so comfortable. I absolutely loved their eggs and sausage. Perfect breakfast and stay from a perfect staff. Nice quiet area near restaurants which are close enough to walk to. Large nice decor and had three chairs in room as well as table for computer. It would have been nice to have some smaller pillows (less fluffy).

You guys just need a freezer in your fridge. Once that happens, our trips will be even better :-D Other than that, we loved everything there. The indoor pool, their breakfast, customer service was amazing!

The staff here is very accommodating and Elena was willing to go the extra mile for my husband and I during our stay. The rooms themselves are very clean and basically brand new. Comfortable beds and lots of amenities for the basic rooms like a couch/sitting area, mini fridge and microwave, hair dryer and iron plus much more. Would recommend and would stay here again. Thank you Elena, we appreciate all your help during our stay!

Such a great place to stay for work or personal reasons! This place is always clean since I've been staying for the last couple of weeks. Elena and shenelle are some of the best people to just go out and help with anything you need, even giving places to see, eat or not to eat.

I have had an exceptional experience at this hotel the receptionists Elena and Shantelle were very helpful my coworkers and I have had to get replacement keys more times then I can count and they help without hesitation everytime.

By far one of the best hotels I've stayed in in a while clean friendly great rooms wonderful beds I can't say enough about this place staff was awesome and the price was dead on. Start check in with easy front desk Personnel or friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and in our room with no problems. The next morning breakfast was awesome. The variety was great. Once again I just can't say enough about this place will be back!!!!

The town of Dupont, Washington, is a planned community of about 7000 inhabitants. The hotel borders one edge of the town. The personnel are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quiet, spacious, and include a microwave, fridge and coffee maker. The bed is comfortable, with various pillow consistencies to match whatever firmness you require. The presence of the sink and mirror within the room means when you have the light on, any other person in the room will be affected (i.e., it is not a separate bathroom). However, the toilet and shower are in a separate room. There is a pool with spa/hot tub on the main level. There is an extensive buffet-style free breakfast included. Several hot, cooked items are available, while allowing you to prepare some of your own food too. Parking is free in the lot surrounding the hotel. This is very close to the combined military base, so expect a lot of military decor and personnel.

This was a fantastic hotel at a great price compared to the rest of the PNW. Maria at the front desk was great. The room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. I didn't notice it to be overly noisy. The amenities were really good. I loved the orange-scented soap and shampoo. Really happy with it.

Very hard to find a room, last minute, that doesn't cost a million dollars or isn't a hole. So we drove a little farther to stay here. The girl who checked me in was nice and helpful but when i got to the room, i leaned on the half wall next to the sinks and stuck to it. Pop rings and a piece of plastic wrap was sitting right there. The little mirror was covered in fingerprints, hand prints on the head board, little bits of paper like the carpet hadn't been vacuumed, cobweb hanging from the ceiling, a grungy dirt line from where the mop had deposited yuck along the board that separates the carpet from the other flooring and the hallway rugs were terrible. We had a 2 room king suite and only 2 towels were in the room. You pay more for a suite and I was not at all impressed that it was right next to the outside door on the first floor so we got to listen to the door slam all nite long. Breakfast was a disaster. The one girl slammed down a pan of eggs because she was so frustrated. Absolutely no one around at check out to even ask how our stay was. Would not stay again.

After a long trip north from Mexico with two minus ten hotels...both in the US...what a lovely respite. Clean, helpful friendly desk person, and quiet. Thank you! The only negative...skip the breakfast!

Best part was hotel was within walking distance of family. Room was huge, but only needed it for sleeping, so would have rather had a smaller room for less money. Clean. Complained about tub not draining during shower, but it was never fixed. Sink outside of shower room, which would be useful if I shared a room. Bed comfortable. Fruit salad for breakfast only on weekends.

I'm usually at a Marriott or Hilton due to gold status with them, but the price in DuPont didn't justify the cost. The BW Liberty in DuPont has beautiful rooms, large and comfortable for my family. The location is perfect for walking on trails or neighborhood. Excellent hot breakfast with fresh potatoes, eggs, ... even soy milk in the fridge. The only negative is the gym, which is small- but they give free passes to the nearest fitness center nearby. Easy access from I-5. I will stay here again and enjoy the quiet comfortable rooms.

Spent a night to see granddaughters school band concert. Check-in was flawless, the staff was very professional. Our room was great. The only negative is it is a little difficult to find the entrance.

The Liberty Inn Best Western in Dupont, WA is a wonderful hotel in a beautiful location. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. The breakfast was good and filling and the pool was clean and warm. My family of four enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

If I am ever in the area again I won't look any further than The Liberty Inn! Staff warm and hospitable, amenities perfect, cozy room, etc., etc., etc! I will recommend this hotel to everyone I know in the future!

Great NW hotel upgraded to a wetbar and spa room. The space was bigger than our living room and kitchen at home A fireplace too. No need to go to the pool and jacuzzi,but I love them too. Only flaw was the second tv wasn't working but we didn't need it. Best room we've ever had

This hotel, is by far, the best Best Western hotel we have stayed at yet! The staff are super friendly, the room was clean and large with everything in working condition! The indoor pool is warm and the hot tub, so inviting! Breakfast was very tasty and a great variety! Would definately recommend this hotel!

After being charged $250 for smoking when my fiance and I do not even smoke. we complained and left a poor review. A few days later the GM, Deb Kerner phoned me and was very apologetic about the situation and reversed the smoking charges and gave us a free night. Thank you Deb for correcting the situation , excellent customer service!

Dishonest Housekeeping staff claimed that we smoked in our room. Both me and my fiancee do not smoke in fact I'm highly allergic to smoke. We were not happy with the room, it was the Hot Tub Room, King Bed with a fireplace. The Fireplace did not work we called and they said there was a gas leak. The floors were filthy and had not been cleaned or vacuumed and there was an odor of gas in the room. We asked for proof and were told that it was the Opinion of the house keeping staff. DisHONEST. After reading the reviews we discovered that there were other complaints as well about the dishonest staff and bogus charges from house keeping. We are platnium members and will NEVER stay at another Best Western, will tell Everyone in our business and social networks about the dishonest treatment.

The best thing to say about a hotel is that everything went as it should! Convenient location is an area of restaurants. Could walk to get food and breakfast at the hotel was great....The cheese in the scrambled eggs option was a nice touch!...Close to Interstate

Excellent hotel. Hotel was clean and presented well. In-room internet is free along with a decent breakfast bar. The hotel staff were professional and the rooms were serviced regularly and all in-room amenities were serviceable.

This place was perfect for my daughter and me! It was clean and quiet. The pool was perfect and we had a blast swimming in it. I felt very safe since it was just my daughter and me. We loved every bit of it. She hasnt stopped asking me when we are going back.

Stayed one night to attend a meeting at the hotel and was pleasantly surprised by the hotel and staff. The hotel is newer and in great condition, and the staff was super helpful and friendly. The room was big and comfortable with a desk,, large TV, fridge, microwave and a quiet A/C unit. The only downside was the walls are thin and I could easily hear noise from the unit next door. Wear your earplugs and all will be well. As a bonus, the free continental breakfast included some gluten free items which I don't recall seeing before at other hotels. The hotel was a bit hard to locate because all my paperwork said it was the Dupont In but it has been re-branded as a Best Western and my reservation confirmation made no mention of that. Lots of free parking too!

I again stayed at the Best Western Liberty Inn in DuPont, Washington for this trip. I am never disappointed in the outstanding service, comfort, amenities and the friendly staff. Christopher Rose and Nichols were there when I checked in, and it was as if they were waiting to assist a VIP guest, only that guest was ME! The value and service alone was Enoch to impress, but they seem to look for things they can do to please their guests. In addition, its proximity to JBLM is convenient and easy to get to. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stress-free and relaxing stay for your visit to the area.

We had a HUGE suite with jacuzzi. It was clean, comfortable, and within walking distance to an amazing variety of restaurants. Staff were great (the breakfast room attendant was the best!) the complimentary breakfast was all you could hope for (eggs, potatoes, three meats, waffles, biscuits and gravy, fruit, yoghurt, etc., etc., etc) and the price was perfect. This will be our go-to for staycations. This has to be the best value for military families transitioning to/from JBLM.

The Liberty Inn staff were great at helping accommodate an infant and toddler in our family. The hotel was festive and the breakfast was a plus. The hotel location was walkable to many of the town's amenities.We will stay here again the next time we are visiting the grandparents.

Stayed for a family vacation. Staff was exceptionally service oriented. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was awesome. Located in a very nice neighborhood with shops and restaurants in close walking distance. Definitely plan to return next time we are in the area.

The staff went above and beyond to help me when the hotel I was prebooked with could not process my Canadian Credit card. It was late at night and Clarissa had no trouble getting me a room. She was unbelievably nice and even gave this tired scared first time USA visitor a hug !!!

The Decour & Interior Design Was Pleasant & Trendy The Room Was Very Clean & Comfortable. Enjoyed Spending Time In The Hot Tub. Staff very helpful & Friendly. Vending Machines Were Accessible With A Wide Selection Of Treats. I Have Allergies To Pets & The Hotel Has A People Section Area and Pet Rooms.

The hotel was very difficult to locate, even with GPS. Better signage is needed. We were told the pet fee would be waived when we checked in. It wasn't. Saying the associate was new isn't a good reason to change what was offered. Other than those two issues, our stay was very relaxing and enjoyable.

Front desk employees were very helpful and attentive. Very clean, lots of amenities, plenty of eating establishments within walking distance. Very close to JBLM. Right off the I-5. No traffic to contend with in the morning or afternoon.

My 12 day business stay was quite pleasant here. It was close to multiple eateries, and although they have a small fitness room, they do provide free access to a club 2 miles away. Room are comfortable. Hot breakfast provided daily and they were flexible about opening 1 mins early since I had to leave for work just after 6a -- that was appreciated. Fairly good selection of breakfast items.

Chalon and Moriah were phenomenal! Every issue addressed with an apology and a prompt fix! Room was super clean and smelled fresh. Beds were perfect, internet was fast enough and business center easily accessed from the lobby. Breakfast was adequate with questionable as to whether or not it was Gluten Free egg stuff. Just stay away from the hashbrowns... neither hash nor brown

This best western is a VERY GOOD example of what excellence would be to all people from all countries. Too many are not changing sheets (smell someone else's under arm pit! smoke, ..), or the alarm is on when you arrive. No shampoo, or soap for men... Management need to watch over their so called assets or they will lose it when people stay at other hotels.

Appearances of the hotel were fine, the staff was fine, the amenities were in line with the cost of the room. However, upon waking up in the morning I discovered SEVERAL bed bug bites on legs and wrists.

I brought a group of 9 golfers to Dupont to play Chambers Bay and other courses for a week. I dealt with Morhia from the initial inquiry to the end of our stay. She and the hotel helped craft our entire golf experience including obtaining times for us at courses and excellent rates. We had the two room suites and everything was excellent. Breakfast each day provided hot and cold items and was varied. The entire group was impressed with the experience from the hotel which is centrally located near many golf courses. We couldn't have asked for a better time. Highly recommend this place!!

The Liberty Inn in Dupont is a very clean, pleasant place to stay. The rooms are modern, tastefully decorated and large. Everything you need is in your room - fridge, microwave, etc. It was also very quiet. I was on the side of the hotel over the lobby, not the street side, on the third floor. I booked thru a hotel site well in advance of my visit. I feel I got a great price for the Dupont area which tends to be a bit pricey. The hotel is well within walking distance of downtown Dupont. I will definitely visit this hotel again, and would recommend it to anyone.

This hotel is centrally located downtown and has nice amenities and is very clean. We stay here often when we visit our kids. It has a nice pool and a decent breakfast. Is within walking distance of downtown.

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff are professional and very friendly. I had two queen need and the mattresses felt so good. I became a member for their rewards which have some good perks. Thank you DuPont staff.

We only stayed one night at the Best Western in DuPont, but the room that we had was fabulous. Large room with separate seating area, televisions in both areas, gas fireplace. We did not stay for breakfast so I can not comment on that

Great location for my business meeting. Large rooms with nice linens. Good size bath and great sinks. Microwave and several vending machines with snacks. As close to home made breakfast as you could get. New treadmill worked wonderfully. Everyone was fabulous! Close to several restaurants. Most in walking distance. Will stay again!

Most comfortable sleep I have ever had at a hotel. The room was very clean and the bed was so comfy. All of the hotel staff were courteous and helpful. Breakfast was yummy. Lots of variety and love the waffles! Easy walking distance to many good restaurants in DuPont. I will definitely stay at this hotel again!

Great hotel! Very clean, quiet, everything worked. This hotel is situated in what I'd call a planned community; stores, banks, restaurants fuel all within easy walking distance. Noted visitors from Canada to as far east as NY and VA. Staff friendly and respectful. Breakfast was great!

I had never stayed at a Best Western but I was surprising impressed with every aspect of my stay . The staff was gracious and courteous. The room was clean and nicely maintained and the breakfast was fresh and tasty!

The place was clean, affordable and my room and bed comfortable (which is saying a lot for me!). I will be keeping this location as my place to stay, when training at Camp Murray!

Thank you Liberty Inn. Very nice hotel. Close to restaurants with a little General store down the street. The lobby needs help with its interior decoration. The furniture is small and bland and not particularly welcoming. But the rooms, pool and breakfast are great.

Found this hotel to be the most affordable on the I-5 stretch. Coming from Montana wasn't sure what would be around it. Was traveling to visit family and was pleasantly surprised with the staff, location, pool, breakfast, and nearby stores/restaurants that were within a 5 minute walk. Great little stop of the interstate after sitting in the typical traffic. Will stay again.

We were part of Family and friends who celebrated their 50th Anniversary. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful, especially the breakfast hostess. I would recommend this facility to anyone. The surrounding neighborhood was pleasant and offered an excellent choice of amenities.

Just about any breakfast item you would want, they pretty much have it. Bed was comfortable with large feather pillows (not my favorite, but passable.) In room coffee, microwave, fridge. Restaurants within walking distance. Close to I-5 and JBLM. Ample outdoor parking.

Overall, nice hotel, good location. Breakfast was pretty good, nice selection of food items. The room was not dirty but it could have been cleaned better. Paper on the floor and a toy left behind from previous guests. A closer eye on the floor would have caught both items, they were not hard to spot. Still, I would return and stay again if I needed to.

I booked a room with short notice of business travel and they were able to accommodate me. The service was great and the staff assisted me with a list of places to eat close by. I will definitely use this hotel in the future.

This is our second time staying in the Liberty Inn. The first time it wasn't owned by Best Western, yet. But, both times were an excellent stay. We were visiting our son, and family, who is stationed at JBLM. The hotel is only about three miles from his home on base in the town of Dupont. It's a beautiful little town.

The front desk staff were extremely helpful, professional, and kind. They recommended local places to eat and visit. Nice size rooms that were kept very clean. The breakfast area was well laid out and organized for easy access. I Would definitely recommended this hotel.

This is a great hotel. Clean, up-to-date with a big room that accommodated our family of five. Better-than-average breakfast. Decent wifi-most hotels have spotty wifi. Highly recommended. Only caveat, it's a bit of a commute to Seattle, about 45 minutes, but it was worth it.

I was flying into Seattle on the day of a friend's wedding. This BW was the least expensive, closest to the event and most friendly when I booked over the phone 2 months earlier. 75 mins before the wedding I booked an Uber ride that would take 20 mins to get me to the event. At the last minute the Uber canceled my ride. The front desk woman, knew time was getting short so jumped in to help me, a new Uber user. She tried a taxi and then found another Uber, personally talking to the driver with short-cut driving suggestions and stressed the urgency of getting me to the "church" on time. She stayed with me until he arrived and sure enough I go there in time to see the bride walk down the aisle. The room was huge, Jacuzzi was great, delicious breakfast and coffee all night! Highly recommend!

Came to town for a wedding and to visit family. My wife and 2 kids stayed at the Best Western Liberty Inn for 8 nights and were very happy we decided to book here. The hotel is situated in downtown DuPont and is within walking distance to many restaurants and the local "General Store" The interior of the hotel seems spotless and is in impeccable condition. Our room was clean and quiet and the staff was very accommodating to any needs we had. Housekeeping was awesome as was all of the staff we encountered. Breakfast at this hotel was one of the best parts of staying here. Having 2 kids and being able to start the day with a nice hot breakfast to include scrambled eggs, sausage, a Belgian waffle maker, cereals, toast and other breads and many other items was a huge plus. Pool area was also very nice and any other aspects of the hotel not mentioned here were also great. Overall a great stay and highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel and rooms were clean! The staff was friendly and helpful! 13 local eatery's and was offered a map of walking distance to all of them! We used the pool and hot tub. It was clean and did not burn from to much chlorine. The fitness room is small but has two cardio machines and a couple of strength training pieces! In our short time there we made the most of it! Really enjoyed the area and the stay!

BW was central to amenities and to base. Easy on/off to I5. BW was quiet, nice, secure area. Restaurants within walking distance. Wifi was good, pool and hot tub were clean and enjoyable. Breakfast was typical for hotel. Good coffee bar.

Hotel was clean, well-maintained and staffed by friendly people. Room was spacious and in excellent condition. Beds were very comfortable with good linens and pillows. Bathroom was clean and the shower had great water pressure. Breakfast was solid but unspectacular... the standard continental gig with eggs, bagels, waffles, yogurt, cereal, etc. It was kept well-stocked even later in the AM. Room was very quiet except for one night when someone let their children run around in the adjacent room until midnight. Surrounding neighborhood has many options for restaurants within a short walking distance as well as a coffee store and smoothie shop. Neighborhood was clean and appeared very safe. Went for several walks and runs and didn't see litter, graffiti or homeless people anywhere. Very short drive to JBLM and even one gate you can get to without getting on the Interstate. Plan on staying for my next visit later in the year.

Very nice hotel in a nice location , some small shops and a Starbucks are within walking distance . Clean rooms , nice front desk , checkin took literally 5 min . Pool and hot tub are clean . Breakfast was ok about average for a continental breakfast . Beds are comfy ! We had a nice week in Washington visiting family and would stay here again !

Great hotel for the price (we got a great deal that was less than the military rate on priceline). The staff is amazing, the beds are pretty uncomfortable (woke up every night with a sore back, but could be from other causes), ad the location is perfect if you're making a pcs to jblm.

We stayed at Liberty inn on our way to and back from Seattle. We liked the stuff. They were very friendly and nice. The rooms were well decorated and spacious . We also liked the breakfast. The cafeteria was specious well maintained. Food was good too.

Excellent place to stay, right off the freeway but a very quiet hotel. The breakfast was great and the staff was very pleasant, went out of her way to accommodate. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. Parking was easy, nice location.

Great overall experience with nothing but good things to say about the location, staff, and treatment while there. The location is in a safe environment and close to both the Army and Air Force Bases- respectfully and there are quite a few restaurants within walking distance. Parks are as well.

Traveling for a family Wedding, I stayed just prior to the July 4th holiday. The room was nice and close to a new shopping/restaurant area just off the freeway. I bit odd entry to the complex but was able to walk to dinner. The room had a window to open, and I enjoyed the fresh air and weather was best I've seen in Washington in years for this time of year. The breakfasts were great with eggs, and anything one could want in the morning. I had a great price, so was pleased with the entire package. The staff was nice, however, the woman stocking the breakfast area was a bit over the top- for my morning- I don't really care for a bursting of "how are you today" and stories I'm not interested, while I'm eating and reading my paper. She thinks she's being a good 'host' but is just fishing for compliments, and was annoying.

TVs receive only standard signal not HD, so screens are 80% black, awful. Outlets for charging phones in the bedside lamps did not work. Pillows were very large and firm. When I asked for a smaller pillow the maid gave me a nice one.

This is a lovely and friendly location. Ideal for JBLM visits as it sits across I5 from the DuPont Gate.Within walking distance to restaurants,pharmacy and general store. Very bright and open. Rooms are nicely appointed. Breakfast host Christine is so pleasant and helpful.The only surprising issue we had was with housekeeping. The room seemed to have been stopped in mid setup after the previous guest checked out. We had 2 bath and hand towels but only one washcloth in the room. We returned late and upon turning down the crisply made bed, found multiple hairs IN the bed. Okay, we have long hair dogs at home so this looked like hair tracked from hair combing area into the bed from feet or socks. Took photos, swept out the bed, slept on the top sheet(it was very late), reported it with photo to the front desk. The front desk responded appropriately in horror, apologized profusely and indicated a housekeeping response. By late afternoon, we had to flag a housekeeper and ask for a bed change so front desk to housekeeping not expediently clear on our concerns. One would think the head of housekeeping,if informed, would have been on this ASAP. I would stay here again as it is pleasant and relaxing but I think I would have to be more assertive in addressing an issue for quick resolution if it were to occur. R Scott 6/30/17

If you want the best experience in the area, stay here. Clean, quiet, with great ammenities, a gracious staff. We decided that the breakfast was the best we have every been offered in a hotel. Convenient to the Joint Military Base and the little town of Dupont. There are some new hotels in the area, but this one still looks brand new, and the staff was wonderful.

I am a soldier just returning from a combat zone with a non combat shoulder injury. I didn't have any where to stay because I've just gotten out of surgery on my shoulder and Tony (manager) went out of the way to give me a reasonable price for staying 30-45 days at Liberty BW. The staff is super nice Michelle & Andres at the desk along with other managing staff are making this soldier's stay as comfortable as possible. Also, Kim and Christina (breakfast staff) have even provided upon request menu items that make my long stay more than tolerable (enjoyable and satisfying). Room is great, pool and hot tubs are crystal clear. Flexible at night for a recovering soldier to soak in the hot tub. I want thank each one of you for your dedication to service and sometimes selfless service. You know who I am. A very appreciative Soldier

Clean, comfortable and quiet, good breakfast, got me up and running for my days work. This hotel was near but not too close to the freeway and was easy to find and get to. I don't work there, but I noticed that it was close to joint base Lewis/McCord for those in the military to access.

I am very impressed with the Best Western Liberty Inn. I have stayed in DuPont a few times, but always at another hotel. This is now the place I will ALWAYS stay. The hotel feels very comfortable and not so "corporate-y." The rooms are very nicely appointed and the beds are the most comfortable I have ever experienced at a hotel. I love that our room has double sinks. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel!

Stayed here for 5 nights and found it to be a great see to go see what is around. Check in was good -we were a little early but did all the paperwork and had a wander around Du Pont and a coffee. Our room was on the top floor and was very clean and the bed was so comfortable and big .Linens were plentiful and good . The staff were all very friendly and would ask how we were doing and you got the feeling they were genuinely interested . The breakfast was plentiful -make your own waffles fruit ,yogurts , cereals ans well as hot eggs ,bacon ,sausages , potatoes -good coffee and hot chocolate -only thing missing was an english breakfast type tea but its minor. What made our stay even more especial was Christina -she was on breakfast duty over the weekend and is such a character -very open and welcoming with a warm personalty-she is truly an asset to the team -you must say hello to her if you are lucky enough to be there when is is on duty.

The staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and very nice and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was good with alot of foods to choose from. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

We stayed one night on our way from CA to Anacortes, WA. We were moving my elderly father from his home in CA to a new location in WA. We were 3 adults and one well-travelled dog. Our room was very comfortable, nice and roomy for all three humans and one canine. We will stay again!

The best western dupont is situated in a non crime area, with great running trails and great restaurants nearby. The hotel is clean comfy and quiet. The staff is great. the surrounding area is great.The free breakfast is awesome.

Clean, nice place to sleep. I've never had an issue. The manager is nice as well. At breakfast she treats you as family. Breakfast food wasn't bad either. Wifi wasn't as strong as I thought it would be because of the size of the room I had. Other than that, a good stay.

New hotel, close in walking distance to many restaurants and very close to the freeway exit. Easy to find off the freeway, plenty of parking for the hotel. Only issue I thought the breakfast could have had more choices

Very nice and relaxing jacuzzi tub. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and will be back again for another getaway. The breakfast was good and the staff were all very kind. The breakfast selection was great.

I am a reservist in the military and of the several hotels from Lacey to Lakewood we get billeted in on drill weekends this is the one that makes drill weekends most tolerable. Probably not the first thing that would come to most people's minds, but the location and quality of the hotel make a massive difference. This past weekend I was billeted in a room with a shower that was not working but this is the only issue in my many stays here.

Rooms are HUGE!! Very comfortable and courteous staff. I loved the color scheme and deep tubs for a much-needed soak. I would have given 5 stars but no room service...only because of the plethora of restaurants less than a 5 minute walk away.

This is a great place to stay when in Dupont. I have stayed here at the Liberty Inn several times over the years for both business and family excursions and I've never been disappointed. The family loves it too. I always look forward to coming back!

My wife and I stayed in this newer Best Western Hotel in DuPont while attending to business at JBLM, Seattle and Tacoma. The accommodations and amenities very good and the location was great for our purposes and very easy to get to from I-5. We have recently stayed at other hotels in the area and had a much better experience at this one. We thought that the value and the level of service provide made for a very enjoyable stay.

BW charged my husband for an extra night, when BW got the rooms mixed up. The mistaken occured when we reserved a king size bed, yet, we were give two full size beds. My husband were okay with the two full size beds. Yet BW registered the room with the king size bed as a no-show and charged us for that room. What makes this experience so terrible, is that, It will take six days for BW can refund my husband.

Really impressed with the professionalism of the staff. The hotel was clean, the breakfast was top notch, and the wifi was fast. I will always recommend this hotel to anyone staying in or around the JBLM area. Oh yeah, the price point was awesome.

Not much to state really speaks for itself. Great spot near the DuPont General Store and resteraunts, also library and pharmacy near. Staff is wonderful and very helpful with getting information about surrounding area attractions or business info. Our family likes staying here Everytime we are in town.

The layout was unique and we loved it. Great customer service. The front desk man called after we got up to our room to be sure everything was okay and helped recommend local restaurants. Brought us blankets late too when we got cold. The breakfast was good and the price of the hotel was very affordable. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who wanted to stay in this area. Close to a lot of stuff if you just wanted to walk somewhere to shop or eat too.

You can't do better than this Hotel or Area to stay near Seattle/Tacoma/Olympia WA. A quintessential town called Dupont, conveniently located next to Interstate I-5, it offers a modern small town atmosphere and friendliness, with almost every want/need located within easy walking distance from a first rate Best Western Hotel. This hotel offers a 5 star service but at a much lower rate! Hard to find these days and times, especially in a national chain hotel. So relax, get away from the big city hassle and enjoy! :-)

The staff was excellent over the phone and at the desk when we arrived. They were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and the coffee in room was surprisingly good. If we are ever in the area we will stay here again.

Great hotel and good location. Affordable prices. comfortable beds, clean rooms and lobby, really good hot breakfast and nice pool! My family enjoyed staying here and swimming. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
