The people that work there are some of the nicest people around ! Very caring . The breakfast they offered us this morning was really a Good one - they had a lot to eat - eggs, bacon , muffins , bagels , fruit , waffles , etc

Great hotel with a welcoming vibe. Everything was clean and tidy, staff were professional and welcoming, and the hotel had plenty of seating to accommodate our group of softball players. This overall exceeded our expectations for a Best Western.

The hotel is very clean and we felt at home here. Beds were comfortable and everything was aesthetically pleasing. Staff is very friendly and we loved ordering from the coffee shop (26Three Coffee House) the lobby! Checking in and out was easy.

Everyone working at the hotel was very attentive and friendly. The hotel and rooms were super spacious and clean. Breakfast was good and surrounding area appeared very safe. Pool and hot tub area was nice and operating. Appreciated the filteres water machine in the lobby for filling our water bottles.

These.were the best Pillows. Together with a Nice comfortable bed made for a great nights sleep away from home. Breakfast was also very good and served starting early in the morning with very kind staff. Also Great front desk help when needed. And just Excellent house keeping. Loved the soap.

The rooms are so nice and clean! Every person I came in contact with was kind and helpful and made great suggestions! Beautiful thick towels were stocked in the pool area ! Always a great stay when we come up to the area! We will visit again in a few months!

The BW Dutch House Inn is great. Mary and Andres at the front counter wonderful and very helpful. I have stayed here 5-6 times before and I have already booked my next stay. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet is good. It's not the same food every day.

It's a beautiful hotel! Spacious, clean rooms. Comfortable beds! Great breakfast. The women. Who attends the breakfast is a great worker who takes pride in her work. She has a peppy, happy personality. We've experienced her a few times & she is always the same. We had a wonderful time as a couple & church family. Thank you!!

We stay every year in February. The cutest, cleanest, nicest Best Western I've ever seen. We love this place!!!!! The beds are comfy, nice warm fireplace, huge jetted tub, pillows are fluffy, staff is super friendly and we love eating next door!!!! Sooo good!

There is a bunch of positives about this hotel, but two things rise above the others. A Super comfortable bed, and the staff are all very friendly. We visit Columbiana once a year and the hotel never disappoints. I've already booked my stay for next year.

It was wonderful the employees was great l bring my grandchildren alot there will be back.the breakfast was great and the staff in the evening was so helpful ,the pool and hot tub was great!the beds was great ,they had everything we needed in the rooms thanks again!!

We always call direct and the front desk personnel are fantastic. Clean rooms and the “curb appeal “ is lovely . Location is prime . Fantastic little plaza behind. Amish restaurant and a convenient store ,, bank, and drugstore within walking distance.

We traveled 11 hours from NC and we were exhausted. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. The shower was nice and hot. It was 5 degrees outside when we got there. It was mid 50's when we left NC. They do offer a limited hot breakfast buffet. We are originally from that county, but we had never stayed there. We travel frequently, we have been in all 50 states. The hotel was probably one of the cleanest hotels that we have ever stayed in. The staff was very accommodating. The Dutch Haus restaurant is across the parking lot. I believe they cook “comfort foods” that are all delicious. They also have a wonderful bakery there. They are closed Sundays and Mondays .

This hotel was very nice very neat the hallways where clean also allowed our dog to stay which is a bonus because a lot of places are not pet friendly! I will stay here again if in this area again. The breakfast was served at 630 am that bacon was crispy!

The staff was so helpful and kind. It was my son's 13th Birthday stay with friends , all of the staff was so nice to all the kids. The woman at the front desk was so sweet. The room was so nice and clean. The pool and hot tub were clean and very nice. The hot breakfast served was so good… so many options. I will definitely stay here again.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and courteous and went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed for our stay. The specialty coffee stand was also delicious.

The front desk woman was very pleasant. Extremely helpful. With things to do and places to eat. She greeted me starting with my name. IMPRESSIVE!!! Places visiting were very enjoyable. Room was clean View especially nice.

This hotel is so hospitable! It has a homey and cozy, feel to it. We stayed in a suite, which was beautiful and very spacious. It was quiet, and we didn't hear any noise from the hallway or other rooms. The complimentary breakfast in the morning had so much variety and lots to choose from including hot foods like eggs and sausage.

The building seems so spacious with high ceiling foyer, very wide hallways with comfy sitting areas around every corner. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The coffee cafe smelled fantastic as soon as you enter the building but I expected the front desk to be there instead of a lovely coffee shoppe. It has so many amenities and a Dutch restaurant just across the parking lot behind the building and a strip mall of small shops.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very clean . Friendly and accommodating staff. Facility grounds well manicured and maintained nicely. Breakfast was standard but hot and fresh. Would stay here again . Overall great stay

My wife and I stayed for three nights totaling about $590.00. We were unhappy to learn on our last night that in order to have our room made up in the morning, we needed to let the front desk know by 10pm the previous night to get on the "list" of rooms to be cleaned the next morning. Unfortunately our Ouija Board is in the repair shop and we had no information about this practice. The front desk said that there is "supposed be a sign on the front desk"; however, there was no sign. Is this now a Best Western Plus standard policy? The shower head water pressure was so low I had to unscrew it so I could get enough water to shower. The body lotion receptacle was empty. Net message is we do not think the stay was worth the price paid.

This property is an excellent place to stay. I have stayed here twice in the past 5 years. The rooms, lobby, halls, pool and outdoor spaces have always in pristine condition. The staff are efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. I doubt if I will ever be back out this way again, but if I were, I would stay here again.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The internet service was working well. The breakfast service and attention to customer needs was exceptional. The coffee shop had a variety of offerings some of which I should have passed on but in some cases looked too good.

This is the top motel I have stayed in of all of my travels. The rooms are clean and the staff are very friendly and are very helpful. Amy is an asset to the motel and we were very appreciative of her support. Breakfast was very good, maybe because they have a chef with 22 years experience and has been there for the long. I have recommended them as the best place to stay when visiting the area.

Hotel was clean, nice staff, room was huge, bfast was great. Close to highway and gas station, made traveling easy. I would totally stay here again hands down! The only room available was more than we needed and a little more than we would of liked to of paid but the price was worth that room.

Stayed the night to catch bus. Left at 4 am. Amy was on duty. She made us fresh coffee and 2 wonderful to go bags as we were not able to eat breakfast. She was very nice. I remember her beautiful smile and helpfulness.

This property is well managed and run by caring staff. They do an excellent job of making sure each guest is taken care of. The rooms are so clean and spacious, the breakfast has so many choices and options, the pool is so clean and nice as well as the hot tub. The independently owned coffee shop in the lobby is so quaint and they offer hot, cold and smoothies as well as some pastries that are delicious. You definately get what you pay for at the Dutch Haus Inn and Suites.

Good stay, clean room, friendly service desk, good breakfast. Pool and spa was over chlorinated but expected. We used the King Suite and it was better than we expected. Check in and check out was easy.

We were on our way home from Indiana Beach, and this was the halfway point. What a lucky find. Safe, clean, and priced right. Even included breakfast. There were lots of restaurants and stores in the area too. Our grandson enjoyed the pool and hot tub!

I absolutely live staying at the Best Western Dutch House, I wish all hotels were this clean! Wonderful staff, the best breakfast and comfy beds too. Go out of your way and stay here, it's worth the money.

The rooms were very spacious and clean. Also, quiet. The location was easy to access and restaurants and shopping was within walking distance. It was also very close to the wedding venue. The staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay, they checked in with us and made sure everything was going well via txt messages. There was a cute little coffee bar in the lobby too!

Great place to stay if your business is in the surrounding columbiana county area of ohio. Friendly staff. Conveniently located. Good shower pressure, good coffee, nice i door pool. Very clean. We highly recommend

Wonderful stay. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. Two most important to us. Breakfast was hot and delicious. For dinner we got take-out from the restaurant which was right next door. There were shops within walking distance and shops in the restaurant . If ever in the area we would stay there again.

This was one of the nicest hotels that I have stayed in at this price range. The place was immaculately clean, the employees were extremely friendly, the free breakfast was great and the rooms were very updated and huge. I would highly recommend staying here to someone.

Walls are thin and you can hear people walking above you. Not even noisy people, just in general kind of crazy how the ceiling creaked as people walked. We had a double queen room. Check in/Check out process was quick and easy. The room was spacious, but the lighting was terrible. Mini fridge was decent size. Bathroom was bigger than most hotels I've stayed at. There were a few random hairs in bathroom that did not belong to us.

Very nice hotel and good value! We were in town for the rodeo and the location was perfect, rooms were well appointed and service was excellent. Lots of updates in the works and some construction, but our stay was very pleasant. Great place to stay in Columbiana.

This was our first time staying at a BWPlus hotel, and we felt it was worth every penny. The building was well kept and maintained. All of the staff were kind and considerate. Our room was spacious, and clean.

We stayed here for a family wedding that was held at this hotel. This hotel was SO nice. The downstairs lobby and breakfast areas were beautiful. Our room was SO clean, fresh and crisp bedding, and our king bed room was actually shockingly huge. Amazing, spacious shower. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The room was spacious and clean. Housekeeping was accommodating. Staff was very helpful. Conference room was well stocked with coffee, tea and ice water during our 4 day stay. Breakfast was very nice but refilling the items as they ran out was slow and when they came were not hot.

The rooms are over priced for the location. Though it is all about supply and demand, it is the only hotel in a 15 mile radius. The front desk people are very helpful, and the kitchen staff were excellent. NO HOUSE KEEPING unless requested, we had to request everyday

We arrived late at night and were warmly greeted. We were given a first floor room because the elevator was out of service. The elevator was repaired the next morning. The room was spacious, well apointed, and very clean. The breakfast was exceptional and for a motel free breakfast it was beyond what you could hope for, Internet service was spotty but not inconvenient. Check-out was handled quickly and efficientently. The staff in the hotel went out of there way to make you fell comforable. That is especially true of the brwakfast room attendant.

Very nice hotel, awesome staff, convenient location for our needs. Jacuzzi tub was nicely sized, and rain showerhead was good. A few minor cosmetic issues, and hot tub in pool area was out of order during our stay. Biggest issue? The internet is from the stone age, lol. If you're looking for that, you'll be hugely disappointed.

Overall, we enjoyed the hotel. Beautiful property and staff was wonderful! The only complaint we had was that the beds were uncomfortable. Nice, but way too hard. Also, the tub was quite slippery. I bought a bath mat so I could shower safely. We didn't get to take advantage of the included breakfast, but loved that it was an option.

We stayed recently while in town for a horse show at the Garwood Arena. This is the closest hotel to the arena and was so convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are very large and easy to move around in. Rooms were very clean and the free breakfast was very nice.

Best Western in Columbiana, Ohio is a great place to stay. The prices are great, the rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and the Staff at the front desk are very friendly. The location of the hotel is close to everything. We enjoyed our stay!

The room was large comfortable and clean. Plenty of space to move around even for two in the bathroom getting ready. Traditional decor was very nice. Breakfast was excellent- like home cooked. Large lobby area for gathering. Quiet and enjoyable plus friendly staff.

If all hotels were like the Best Western Plus Dutch Haus Inn I would be one happy traveler. We frequently drive from the midwest to visit family on the east coast and stay at a variety of hotels along the way. This one checks all the boxes - clean, well appointed, comfortable, and quiet, with a friendly and efficient staff. This location is a few miles off the interstate so there's no highway noise, and the setting is much nicer than that of typical roadside hotels. I could go into my thoughts as to why these establishments, that cater to middle-class travelers, have gone downhill but I won't bore you. Instead I'll just say this Best Western might be a throwback in the best sense of the word. It is definitely a gem, and I highly recommend it.

Every single staff member was extremely friendly and attentive. Very rare to find that anymore. The rooms were large (huge plus) and very clean. Breakfast was excellent. Restaurants and stores near hotel.

A great place in Amish country. Super clean, nice looking accommodations, great staff. The suite was huge, and comfortable. Spa tub was very therapeutic. The lobby showed promise, though we didn't use the facilities there, we will next time. This will be our little getaway, or a reason to eat at the Dutch Haus and shop the Dutch store in the parking lot.

A great Elvis show and great stay at BW. We have been seeing their shows for years and they haven't ever disappointed us. I'm using up the rest of the time because this review says I have to have 200 characters!!

The facility was exceptionally clean but there were a lot of mechanical noises. Not sure what they were but it sounded like heaters and compressors and fans cycling all night. It was disruptive to my sleep.

I stayed here for a few days on a business trip and I would definitely stay here again. The Hotel is super clean and my room was made up every night even though I hardly made a mess. Free WiFi is ok but I wish it was a little more robust. I could not FaceTime the little ones back home. Good location, close to downtown Columbiana and there are plenty of retail establishments nearby. It is on a busy street and my room was facing the road, but traffic noise was at a minimum. Staff was friendly and they even had a free breakfast. The fitness room was nothing spectacular but then again, when are hotel "gyms" ever spectacular?

We were so glad we decided to stay here for a night to meet up with family. The lobby was very cozy and welcoming. Mary checked us in and was very friendly and answered all of our questions. The entire hotel had comfortable chairs and couches for relaxing in the hallways. Our fireside room was very large, clean and comfy. We did not partake of complimentary breakfast because we were meeting family at the restaurant next door, but checked it out and it had an abundance of options and everything looked tasty. I tried out the coffee shop before we left and it was delicious and had great options- like oatmilk. Check out was easy. We will definitely stay here again.

Just a weekend getaway with our grandchildren. A swim & stay! Loved our large room! Swim, pizza party, games, popcorn & a movie! The staff was great and interacted with our little ones. Memories Made!

We gathered as a group of friends at this wonderful hotel! Clean, spacious, and great service. Breakfast supplied, with a walking distance restaurant. Common areas were beautiful, where we could gather for chats and friendship. Fireplaces added an extra layer of coziness. Will definitely be back!!

My wife and I recently stayed at the hotel. Excellent service with a smile. Had "lobbies" on all the floors with a fireplace. Comfortable place to read, play games or just relax. Behind the hotel were a few small shops that my wife enjoyed. Location is very close to Columbiana which has a variety of shops and restaurants. Looks like a Hallmark downtown. If you are in the area this is the best choice for an overnight (or more) stay. When we come back this will be our choice.

Don't let the pictures sway you, they make the room look significantly smaller than it was. The room was beautiful and so was the bathroom. It was very enjoyable, I would stay here again. The staff was very friendly.

This was our first stay at this hotel and at a Best Western. WE were on our way back to NY from a weeklong visit with family in Chicago for Thanksgiving. The Youngstown area is half way and we were booked at the hotel we stayed at going out an it was horrible. So after reading reviewers of the Dutch Haus we decided to give it a try. It was a wonderful experience. The hotel was lovely and our studio room was up to-date, HUGE and IMMACULATE! In addition, the hotel is super pet friendly and they were so kind to humans and dogs. There was an open field near the hotel to walk them and we were given a room on the first floor (as we requested) to facilitate taking them out. The bed was very comfortable. We had a room by the entrance to the indoor pool but it was surprisingly quite. There were a lot of families with your kids scooting around which made for some noise but it did not detract from our experience.

This Best Western exceeded our expectations. We were in town for the Thanksgiving Holiday to visit family and this was close. We were very pleased with the facility, our room was very clean and neat and the bed was very comfortable. All of the staff members we met were friendly and courteous. Nearby restaurants and grocery store ensured all of our needs were met. Very nice indoor pool and hot tub.

Very nice hotel. Convenient location to our ultimate location. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Only negative was that out fireplace did not work in our room. We had a 2 room King suite and it was a little pricey. Furniture in room could have been a little more comfortable but bed was very comfortable

The property was clean and well maintained. We didn't feel like we had a second rate room because we had our dog with us which is refreshing! A good all American restaurant is next door! Overall great

We had an amazing time during our stay here and am happy with the service received. I grew up in the area, and of course know about the Dutch Haus but this was my first stay here- and I plan to stay here for all of the upcoming trips home! The hotel was MUCH cleaner than others in the area- I always saw maids working and people cleaning up in the hallways and the hotel itself. Everyone was extremely helpful and overall the hotel stay was amazing, great value- we will be back with our dog!

This was the most pleasant stay I have had in quite some time. From check in to check out the staff was so kind and polite. People we saw in passing smiled and said hello. I know this sounds so cheesy but it felt like we were staying with family not staying at a hotel. I would stay here again just for the breakfast. I am a very picky breakfast eater and this was delicious.

My room was ENORMOUS! Everything was clean and the toiletries smelled really nice. The bed pillows are really tiny, though. If you're picky about your pillows you may want to bring your own. The bathroom was bigger than my bathroom at home!

Upon arrival I was greeted by the GM of the hotel and her assistant. They were both very nice, caring, and it was a quick check in. I've never felt so welcome to a hotel, ever. Keep up the great work! Loved it!

Ample sized rooms with extra pillows & closets, the hotel is appointed for your big life. Friendly and helpful, the staff is on the spot, kind & resolution oriented. A lovely place to lay your head. Only criticism is the pull out bed mattress is very thin.

The staff goes above and beyond at this hotel to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. The breakfast buffet is outstanding. Everything is hot and fresh and so clean. The pillows are so comfortable I wanted to take them home!

The staff is friendly, the hotel is clean!!! It's a large hotel and every area was clean. The room was large and comfortable. It's a beautiful place. The kids loved the pool. It's a great value. I won't stay anywhere else now when I'm in the area.

Cozy birthday/Easter Getaway, indoor pool nice heated hot tub while the kids swim, Breakfast included daily not just coffee and fruit either, waffles, bacon, eggs, english muffins, sausage etc... For a small price an Amazing Easter Egg Hunt set up for the kiddos, shopping walking distance, call ahead and plan a spa day for the ladies, Just go lots of different rooms to choose from too.

We did one overnight with two boys and the room was very spacious, two queens and large bathroom w separate make-up/closet area. Reception was nice and there are some great restaurant options nearby. Clean & quiet.

I'm rating this place as excellent because it's a beautiful, clean, well taken care of hotel. The room was huge and spotless and even smelled good. We had a very easy check in and check out experience. So here's where I tell you some things to be aware of. First, we were traveling with our 12 year old dog and we were told we would have a first floor room. We didn't. We were on the second floor. The dog walking area is a beautiful grassy lot, but it's at the very back of the property. Therefore, every time the dog needed walked over our 4 day stay we had to go through 2 doors, an elevator, another door and then a log walk across a parking lot. Thankfully our little girl was very good and would wait to go until she was on the grass. I just wished we had gotten that first floor room so the walk and wait for her wasn't as far. Also, when you walk into the lobby there's a sign stating breakfast is served DAILY on the lower level. The second morning we were there (a Monday) I went down to the lower level around 7:30, no breakfast. I had my car keys so I went over to McDonalds across the street. I'm not sure why there was no breakfast, no one ever explained it to us. Also, while the young man who checked us in and the woman who checked us out were very nice, everyone else we encountered just didn't seem that friendly. Not rude or anything, just not overly nice. I also saw at least 2 employees hanging around the lobby chatting with people with no mask on when signs were posted that masks were required in the public areas. All that being said this is a very nice hotel for the money and I would probably stay here again.

Very quiet friendly atmosphere. Pleasant and attentive staff. Pool and hot tub were excellent. Food was delicious warm and plenty to chose from. My girls and I will definitely return for another stay or two.

My boyfriend wanted to give me a night away just him and i for my 38th bday but a baby next door cryed most of the night and kept us up and the bathroom door kept hitting my knees when i used the bathroom

Between the Dutch Haus Restaurant and the Dutch Village Shops on property, the beautiful hotel and rooms and wonderful staff, we would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to stay in Columbiana, Ohio!

This hotel is way overpriced for what you get. It has the basics but nothing more. Really old and outdated decor – it has the country/Amish look – maybe you're in to that. Small TV with poor cable options

Everything was perfect here.The rooms were so clean,and nice.Bathrooms were roamy and really nice.I am a Tilesetter for a living,beautiful tiled bathrooms.People at the front desk are super nice.This is the place I am going to stay at when i visit my friends from Ohio.

The motel was near a wonderful restaurant. Not only good food, but atmosphere was tasteful. Entrance into a warm front door with fireplace ablaze was welcome since extremely cold weather for us southerners.

We stayed at this hotel for six weeks while we were in between homes. This facility is a very warm and welcoming place..The friendly staff attended to every detail during our stay. It is impeccably clean and neat. The pool area is large and very inviting and includes a hot tub and outdoor seating.The lobby is very charming. A wonderful full hot breakfast is served every day by an attentive staff. Cute shops and a great restaurant are just outside the door, a short walk across parking area. Our stay was perfect in every way. Highly recommend. Thank You Best Western.

We came to town for a funeral. Making the reservations through the front desk was made easy, and extremely helpful. I called back as I could not remember what I was told about on elf my questions, to say the least I was not thinking clearly. The kindness and caring shone through to help ease my emotions. The entire staff was awesome, the breakfast was delicious, and the cleanliness was 5 star to say the least. They had no idea what we were going through so it was not special attention due to our situation. They care and it shows! Sending kudos to all of them.

The hotel is beautiful and clean. They are doing things a little different with breakfast during this time of Covid. They have a server dishing out your breakfast and she will get you what you ask for even including making the waffles for you. Everything was delicious. It was a comfortable stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Plus Dutch Haus Inn and Suites in Columbiana. We stayed in a 2 queen suite with a fireplace, whirlpool tub and kitchenette. What a great place to hide away during COVID. Check-in was efficient and safe, breakfast the next morning was eggs, bacon, waffles, pastries, fruit etc. We were served, the tables were well spaced and it felt very safe. The location is 20 minutes from Youngstown and 1 hour from Pittsburgh. The restaurant across the parking lot is fantastic and there is fast food very close. There are fun shops within walking distance. This is a great place to hideaway!

This hotel is exceptionally clean! You can't find a piece of dirt anywhere! The rooms were very nicely decorated and very very clean. The hotel staff are fantastic! This is our first time staying here and it won't be the last! Great hotel

Best Western Plus is an excellent place to stay with friendly staff. They are accommodated for special needs. Rooms are very spacious and have lovely decor. The establishment is close to many featured attractions in the area.

Staff was very friendly and seemed to make the best of this Covid crap. The town is small, and shops close early, but it is the new Covid era.I would rather pay less, but we don't stay in many hotels or motels.

This is a fine, clean, well managed hotel. One of the nicest we've been to and we are retired and travel. Well manicured outside.The swimming pool was clean and inviting. Plenty of things to do in the Columbians area.

We stayed at this Best Western because it was the closest hotel to our grandson's baseball tournament. It is in a very good location with shops and restaurants in the same parking lot. We had a king fireplace room and it was very spacious and clean. It was very nice having two bathroom sinks, one in the bathroom and one outside the bathroom. Plus the mini refrigerator had a separate freezer, which was great since we always travel with cold packs that need to stay frozen! The staff was also very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were bagged due to COVID-19 so we don't know what the hotels actual buffet breakfast would have consisted of. All in all though, if we are in the area again, we will definitely return!

It's like staying with family! Our real family lives nearby but their home is small. So we bunk at the Dutch Haas, Best Western. Also, there are little shops and a great restaurant on the premises. The little town of Columbiana is a very bright and friendly little community. The Dutch Haas is about a 10 minute drive from exit 232 on the Ohio

Nowhere on the website does it mention pool and spa closed but goes into great detail about other amenities closed. Room is beautiful but shower nothing but a trickle of cold water with extremely noisy water pipes of next door neighbor. No breakfast offered because kept behind counter but NO ONE at counter, rang bell for twenty minutes straight, my time is valuable. Fortunately McDonalds next door gave me free breakfast. Price is EXTREMELY high for such lack of quality. Wish I had stayed elsewhere.

Stayed with a group of friends for a scrapbooking weekend. They are always very accommodating to us during our stay. Always clean and breakfast is good. Very friendly staff. We have been staying here twice a year for many years.

Due to negligence of the pool and drainage issues my partner fell and broke her arm and nothing was done about it . If you are going to offer things like a pool please make sure it is tended to. Best western will for sure be hearing from me.

When I want to escape life just for spell, and be treated like I'm cared about and don't want to be subjected to my family matters by family, but still quietly, respectfully, and considerately treated like family... this is the perfect lil place! Would not change one perfect little thing about this place or the supporting neighbors (diner, restaurants, gas station, etc.

The hotel was very clean and reasonably priced. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would surely recommend this as THE place to stay in Columbiana Ohio. I really enjoyed having a fireplace in the bedroom, as well as a jaccuzzi tub.

I brought my family to Columbiana for a wrestling meet and stayed at best Western in Columbia. New construction and modernized interior definitely made this day worthwhile. We will definitely be back. The rooms had tall ceilings in larger areas than most hotels in this price range.

My wife and I now visit the Columbiana-area about twice a year to visit with my family. We've stayed at the Best Western Plus Dutch Haus Inn and Suites several times now, and we don't even look to stay anywhere else anymore. It's quiet, clean, the breakfast is great, and the staff are helpful and friendly. It's a bit pricey compared to other local hotels in the area, but we believe that it's worth it.

Christmas in Columbiana Ohio With our family was a great success. Kids loved the pool and breakfast donuts. We liked the relaxing fireplace in a spacious room. Best place to stay if you are anywhere near Columbiana. Drug store, restaurant, cheese shop, fuel, farm markets, and fast food nearby.

This time we went to the Christmas Dinner Show. Great dinner and fun show. The suites are so nice, roomy and homey. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The town of Columbiania is very cute to visit. Close to Boardman and Youngstown.

Will definitely look forward to staying at this property again, not only is it a very beautiful and welcoming property from the exterior, the interior is updated and and has every amenity you will need. Our king room was spacious with a very large bathroom with a walk in shower instead of the tub/shower often found in hotels. Breakfast was delicious and the attention that was given to the food as well as the guests was quite professional. It was nice that breakfast was served on regular china and not throw away plates and silverware. Thank you for having several areas to sit as we came back with Handel's Ice Cream and enjoyed the upper area with family. Keep up the great work.

We love to stay there with family. We have stayed at this place for our get together with other family members who live near for many years now. We feel welcome and safe The only thing that would have been better is if the pool was heated. It was cold this weekend

Had a birthday party for my 8 year old granddaughter and forgot the plates, silverware and lighter for candles and they went out of there way to gather everything for us and delivered to our room. The Pool and Hot tub was also a big HIT

For a small town, it was a surprisingly nice hotel. We got a spacious suite with a kitchenette and a whirlpool tub as well as a shower. This is an excellent travel value and it is extremely close to dining and shopping options.

Very close to downtown Columbiana. Reasonable priced with other local hotels. Full continental breakfast, fitness room & hot tub with pool made my family of five very happy we stayed! Late-night cookies were amazing as well!

The Best Western also known as the Dutch Haus in Columbiana, OH is a beautiful hotel with the friendliest staff I have ever encountered. The hotel rooms are clean and updated, the lobby beautiful and the amenities are great. Their complimentary breakfast for their guests is delicious and the pastries the best I have ever eaten. The dining area is clean and their is plenty of room for all the guests. You won't feel rushed or stuffed into a tiny room like other hotels. Overall, a great experience. We will be returning.

We had a corner room with windows that opened for cross ventilation when the weather was nice. Both the bedroom and bath were large, clean, and nicely furnished. Breakfast was tasty. Real eggs and bacon. Plenty of seating. We had dinner one night at the adjacent restaurant. Same owner as hotel, I think. Good comfort food. All in all, a great stay. Will definitely return!

No internet. I had used your hotel several times in past. It was excellent from meals to breakfast to the large rooms to comfortable beds to use of internet. When I arrived this time somewhat late at night and needed to use internet, I was told this was not available because of some kind of breakdown. How can you have only one computer? It cannot be a money problem> Computers are like a few hundred dollars. You could have had an inexpensive laptop available, or let me use the desk fron one for a few minutes. .

Stayed here for a weekend for our family reunion. Very clean and helpful staff. We used the pool and hot tub a couple times. Very nice hotel. The coffee shop is the lobby was also delicious. We will visit again.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast buffet had a good selection though the sausage and eggs were only lukewarm. Restaurant next door was wonderful. Shops were closed on July 4th so that was disappointing but there was plenty to see and do. About 8 miles away on Rogers in one of tge largest flea markets I've ever seen. Got some Amish cookies and pies so I was very happy. Hotel has a fitness center, pool, wifi and coffee shop. Convenient to area attractions.

This was the first hotel in my area that I have ever stayed in that I felt like it had been cleaned well. The hotel has a great feel and again clenliness is important to me. Breakfast was completely ready at 6:30 am when I went down. They do a good job. I used a blanket from the closet and it smelled clean like freshly laundered. You cannot go wrong here. I had a queen suite. It was very spacious.

Our rooms were extremely clean. The beds were glorious and the staff and complimentary breakfast phenomenal! Checking in was quick and we enjoyed the pool before turning in for the night. The showers had awesome water pressure.

We recently had booked 20 rooms for my son's wedding. The staff was very attentive and the rooms were very clean. Needless to say we were up very late for two nights partying in the suite. We actually moved to the lower level where we had the whole room to ourselves. The breakfast in the morning was awesome, and there was plenty of food for everyone. Highly recommend this place!!!

Our family stayed in a beautiful suite. We received a free upgrade to a room with a jacuzzi tub, fireplace and on suite, after my wife mentioned I was prior military. The girls enjoyed they Dutch Village, the shopping in Boardman, and the local restaurants were outstanding. The Dutch Haus Villiage Inn is a must stay for a low key weekend getaway, or a Christmas shopping trip. I truly want to say thanks to the staff, they made this an excellent stay.

I have stayed at this hotel since its opening. I was disappointed to find out that it had become a Best Western; as I didn't want it to lose the Dutch Haus charm. To my, surprise it did not!! So happy!

Lovely newly remodeled hotel with spacious and stylish rooms soaked in natural light. The staff was warm and friendly and tasty coffee in the lobby is always a plus! There are plenty of seating areas throughout the hotel which gives it a homey feel.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in in years. There are spacious lobbies and hallways that make it feel more like a beautiful home then a typical boring hotel. The room looked brand new and very clean and surprisingly large for a standard king room. Breakfast was a bit crowded but I think that is a good sign. Overall a really nice stay.

The most friendly front desk staff I have encountered. The hotel and rooms are so clean and fresh. The suites are spacious and very comfortable. There is a great breakfast each morning. The hotel has a very nice coffee and snack area as well. There is also a great Dutch Haus restaurant behind the hotel that is in walking distance.

The Staff were all so professional and friendly. And everything about the Hotel itself was lovely and extremely clean. And the Lobby with the really nice seating around the fireplace made for a feeling of a special visit. I will be watching for booking with Best Western in my future travels!

This just may be one of the best motels we have ever stayed in. The service, cleanliness, and breakfast were way above average. I liked the location with the Das House and plaza in the back. I did not use the pool, hot tub, or fitness center, but all looked well. My only regret is not having the time to stay another night or two.

This is our second stay at the Best Western Plus Dutch Haus Inn and Suites. Our first visit was just before they became a Best Western property. This time Katie met us at the front desk with a smile and a friendly welcome. Our suite was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. The fireplace added to the cozy atmosphere. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but Das Dutch Haus Restaurant (also bakery and gift shop) is a few steps away. It serves delicious comfort food and desserts. A row of interesting shops is located behind the hotel and they are well worth a visit. You should be aware that the restaurant and shops are closed on Sundays. We plan our visits with this in mind. Like others have mentioned, the coffee shop in the lobby is excellent. Both specialty prepared drinks and bags of Zeke's coffee beans may be purchased. I love Zeke's coffee and buy it to make at home. As you can see, I am among the many others who highly recommend staying at the Dutch Haus Inn.

Accepting this standard, I consider this to be a 5-star property based upon how well they fulfill the 3-star standard. Best Western's website describes the property as “a 52 room boutique Hotel and Banquet Center, with inviting lobbies and large open public areas.” My wife & I stayed at the Dutch Haus Inn on Sat., 02.23.19. The facility is tastefully decorated in American Primitives, a style I very much enjoy. I had no issues with my reservations and the hotel accommodated the requests I make concerning placement of my room. One thing I noticed as have other reviews is the courtesy of the staff. This hotel obviously knows its front desk staff is the face of the organization and have done an excellent job at choosing friendly, polite personnel. The “coffee shop” in the hotel is merely a kiosk, not someplace where you can sit in a booth or at the counter to have a slice of apple pie with your coffee. This is not to say that it wasn't appreciated as the aroma of coffee brewing is wonderful and the attendant is friendly. Just be aware to adjust your expectations accordingly. We were assigned a standard king room which continued with the American primitive décor right down to the bathroom fixtures. It was a corner room so had an extra window which allowed for more natural light. I especially liked that the standard rectangular “shoe box” floor plan had been replaced with an arrangement which, in my opinion, offers a little more privacy and more practical use of the available space. The room was well-appointed, clean, comfortable and quiet. We had the opportunity to use the natatorium in the evening. The supply of pool towels had been exhausted, probably because of the number of children present, so I brought this to the front desk's attention. Within literally 2 to 3 minutes, house keeping replenished the supply. The pool and spa was clean and maintained. Complimentary breakfast is served in a basement level room dedicated to this purpose. This seems to be a much better arrangement than utilizing the hotel lobby as many other properties do. Breakfast was basic but tasted very good and was hot. My only suggestion would be for the hotel to find some way other than the utility carts for guests to return used dishes and cutlery as this detracts from an otherwise attractive area. I consider our rate to have been a very good value though I would have hoped that Best Western's Rewards Program would have offered a better rate than AAA, if even by a few dollars. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay, would stay here again when in the area, and recommend this property to those who may be considering a stay.

We attended a horse show at Garwood Arena and this is hands down the best hotel within the Eastern OH vicinity. Only 5 minutes from Garwood, there are lots of options for dining, a great coffee shop onsite and fabulous rooms and lobby. There is a huge, hand-carved double fireplace in the lobby, fresh cookies available 24 hours and a great environment to simply relax. Most importantly, the guest rooms are huge, beautifully decorated and the bathrooms were completely updated. Exceptionally nice and helpful staff.

This is a lovely hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. The cookies and fresh water are a nice addition in the lobby. I have yet to find a hotel that can beat their breakfast, which is included with your stay. I love the coffee shop and fireplace, everything I need:)

I hosted an event for Girl Scouts at this hotel. The Staff went above and beyond to make sure our experience was excellent. The Front Desk Staff was friendly and went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. The newly-renovated rooms are clean and comfortable. I used the Office and found it very helpful prior to my event.

The Dutch Inn in Columbiana is my favorite hotel stay. Always clean and the most friendly of any stay. The staff is wonderful and always very accommodating. The successfully address and issue and request and take care of guests as if they were family.

I have had the opportunity to visit the Inn on several occasions throughout the years and, like always, this visit did not disappoint! From the minute you walk in the door you are warmly greeted and promptly checked in. The rooms are clean and spacious and the wide open hallways make you feel like you're in a home and not just a hotel. During our multiple night visit we had the opportunity to enjoy the delicious continental breakfast and head across the parking lot to Das Dutch Haus Restaurant for a delicious breakfast buffet! I can't express enough how pleasant of a stay it was and I am excited for my next visit!

I just returned from spending 3 nights. We stayed in a king suite that was so spacious! With the couch and chairs in the living area, we had plenty of room for our family of seven to hang out and visit. All the staff was very friendly. I thought the barista, Ellen, was especially friendly and welcoming.

11/24/2018 Room 324. Noisy cheap motel a/c and heat unit. Small TV ...maybe 28" with no guide. Tile in bathroom dirty. Came in Friday nite and coffee was free. Was on my way out to an event Sat AM and you had to $PAY$ for coffee......I guess policy changes rather rapidly here !! Attempting to watch the Ohia State/Michigan game but I can't see it. Would go to a sports bar...but I'm disabled and can't sit up. Stay tooned. The good ? Across the street is a McDonalds where a large coffee is a DOLLAR !!

On a recent cross-country drive, I stayed at 5 best westerns in as many days - this was by far my favorite. Not only are they dog-friendly - they are dog people and encouraged me to bring him by the front desk to say hi. The rooms are large, really well lit and complete with modern appliances. Breakfast was yummy and the staff couldn't have been sweeter.

Clean. Professional. Quiet. Great location. Close to wonderful Amish stores and restaurants. Everything is well done. Can't say enough. Pool. Fitness room. Banquet large group services. Hot location for wedding parties.

I was there for the Dinner/show which was great but it was so nice to go to the comfort of my room after the performance. And although the hotel breakfast was very good it was also very nice that the hotel was within walking distance of the Dutch Haus restaurant/bakery and some unique shops such as the whole foods confectionery, the Shakers Amish home gifts, bookstore, and jewelry shop. Also there was a Rite Aid adjacent to the hotel property. My main purpose for visit was the dinner/show at the hotel and am glad to be returning to enjoy the whole experience for they're other performances.

Love this hotel, always a great stay. The staff and the quality of service is always spot on. We love the proximity of the hotel for dining and shopping. Highly reccommend staying here. The Dutch House Restaurant is a plus too.

Stayed at this hotel on business. Stayed here in the past and was pleased but this time was even better!!! Remodeled and updated! Atmosphere, food, staff, amenities and sleep rooms were fabulous!! Surrounding area was safe and offered many things to do and eat!

We gathered in Eastern Ohio to celebrate the wedding of our son's childhood buddy and his effervescent bride. She is from this part of the world. We knew it was an area with Amish folk, and were delighted to check into Das Dutch Haus, owned by members of two local families. First there was a restaurant and row of shops. Then, they built this boutique hotel with 50-plus spacious rooms, a beautiful pool and whirlpool, plenty of banquet facilities and casual gathering places throughout the Inn. The staff greeted us warmly, again and again. The breakfast bar included pastries and donuts made on the premises. The rooms, including bathrooms, were spotless, spacious and comfortable. The wedding ceremony was under a lovely gazebo, right on the grounds. An early fall cloudburst subsided in time for the sun to shine on a warm October afternoon. The reception moved to the Inn's banquet space -- quite nice. And if ever you get the chance to attend a wedding in Western PA or Eastern OH, there is a tradition of cookies. Cookies for dessert. Cookies to take home. More cookies than we could ever have imagined! So, stay at the Dutch Haus Inn for a sweet experience!

nice experience, overall our anniversery, room very clean, #125 had jaquizzi, suite 2 tv s room with couch felt at home what impressed me bathroom and jaquizzi, spotless clean has they should be, but alot of hotels are not. i gave 4 star cause i felt breakfast snould be a little later,food not great, and dinner there or at daus haus might have been nice.for our anniverery. pool clean, price high for 1 night, for what we got

This was a pleasant stopover on the way back to Northwestern Ohio from Pittsburgh. Hotel was very clean comfortable and quiet. Pool was nice and was cool and refreshing. Breakfast was pretty good as well. Hotel has an odd layout, but not a big deal. Kind of trying to portray what the public believes an Amish chain hotel would look like if the Amish ran chain hotels. (Spoiler alert-- They don't.) The neighborhood isn't bad and it's a good roadside stopover. The only issues were the weirdly protective attitude of the management. There is a twenty dollar surcharge added to each bill and removed after checkout in most cases. What is it for? If I use the towels do I get charged? What about if I use the soap? Then the owner/manager walks around the breakfast tables and asks a bunch of oddly personal questions... Other than that, it was pleasant.

I had the privilege to stay here for a week. The staff was very accommodating and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. The rooms are very large and have all the modern amenities. The indoor pool and jacuzzi was very clean and welcoming. It reminds me of the pool from the movie ‘Cocoon'. The best part is talking with the staff and locals who come through. This is a family owned Inn and it shows. You cannot get that sort of friendly welcoming feel from just anywhere. The breakfast was fantastic and they have a wide range of hours to accommodate your schedule. The woodwork and decor are cozy and well crafted. This really is a gem of a place and I highly recommend it to anyone considering having a unique and inviting experience.

My family stayed for 4 nights at this hotel and we really loved it. Very clean and nice surroundings and just sweet people. Very charming setting and nice large rooms. The bathrooms were updated, clean and pretty large for a hotel room. We used the pool and loved it. Breakfast was really good and especially good coffee (Zeke's Coffee). Highly recommend it.

Dutch Haus is a newly listed Best Western. It is truly a PLUS. The front desk hosts were most pleasant and helpful. They hosted an anniversary celebration. Right next door is a Dutch restaurant, a pharmacy, and many shops. A wonderful pool, breakfast, and a specialty coffee shop all in the hotel. The internet was a bit slow. The overall value of this hotel is tops!

It was recently taken over by Best Western so you can use their points program if that applys.. *Big rooms! (Queen Beds, I believe) Big Bathrooms! Everything was so clean! Wonderful stay at Dutch Village Inn / Best Western for our family and guests over the weekend for our daughters wedding. They all loved the atmosphere and gathered in the comfy common areas to visit. Breakfast was a big hit too !

Wonderful accommodations. If fits our needs so well. Family gathers from many different locations. Family has used this hotel before it was Best Western and then again 2018. The adjoining restaurant is good too.

The place was very clean, excellent amenities and all appliances and faucets, etc. were in excellent working order. Breakfast food was good, the pool was nice, good location close to lots of other places that sell anything one could ever need on a trip. Rite Aid was next door, several restaurants. Be aware that on Sundays, the adjacent shops are closed. Only complaint is that breakfast was not ready on time.

We had to stay due to our home being inhabitable for a few days for construction. I have two children and two dogs. The staff so kind at wonderful and so kind. The hotel was so clean and beautiful. I loved the bath and body works products. The breakfast was amazing. I will always make sure I stay at a Best Western from now on!!

The hotel itself was nice. Breakfast bar was not very satisfying. Members of a wedding party ran around the hotel, banging on doors and being loud in the halls, till after 1:30 in the morning. Did not make for a restful nights sleep

We've always stayed here when we visit the Lumley's and Wilsons in East Palestine and Columbiana. This year we visited right after they branded with Best Western. It is a great marriage. The rooms have been updated, and include modern amenities and televisions. The lobby, and the hallways, maintain their distinct Amish design and artwork. They have Zeke's coffee in the lobby. The breakfast is improved. They kept the pastries from next door, and added waffles and a more varied array of breakfast items. Rates were reasonable, and the staff is very accommodating. Hat's off to Katie and Aaron, two excellent folks who made visiting easy. If you're visiting in the area, it's worth the short drive south from SR7 to a uniquely different nationally branded hotel.

The food and service is great. They have the best ham and potato soup. Nice size chunks of potatoes and ham. The fish sandwiches and fish dinners are great. By the time you get done with the salad bar you can't finish your dinner. You get the best for the dollar.

We stayed in a comfortable one bedroom suite with a small kitchenette and a fireplace. We were immediately impressed by the helpful and friendly staff. The rooms were extremely clean and were quiet even with dinner theater activity in the lobby. In the morning guests are given the choice of a free breakfast buffet or vouchers for a discounted breakfast in the adjacent restaurant, Das Dutch Haus. We opted for the restaurant so I could sample their home style fried mush and a variety of other unique breakfast offerings. We were not disappointed. Everything was delicious. Check their online menus before your trip. There are too many choices for all the meals to list here. There is a small shopping plaza behind the hotel. We stopped in some of the shops. Our favorite was the bulk food market. We also found several shops we liked in downtown Columbiana, which is a short drive from the hotel. One more thing I have to mention is the little coffee shop in the hotel lobby. There is a good variety of coffee choices. All I tried were excellent. The coffee is Zeke's and it is my new favorite. I was happy when I found out I could buy Zeke's in Pittsburgh.

My family and I had a quick stay at the Das Dutch Village but it left a lasting impression. From the beautiful display when you walk in the front door to the helpful front desk workers, I would definitely recommend to others. The rooms were very large and spacious and super modern and up to date. Also, the cleanliness was exceptional! The staff was super friendly and accommodating as we requested a late check out. We enjoyed breakfast the next morning which was delicious and again the staff lady was fantastic. She was constantly refilling and assisting with anything anyone needed. Great place, staff and features!

It's a nice place. Rooms are large with high ceilings. The room I was in smelled like is was just painted. Bathroom was recently updated. There is a restaurant that is associated with the hotel and there is a little shopping village. The night we arrived there was a live show that was happening in the lower level which was cool. We did not go to that. There is a great breakfast in the morning. So overall I think it's a okay stay. We were only there for a night. So I can't tell you how it would be for a long term stay.
