Best Western Plus Buda Austin Inn & Suites

The high ratings which encouraged us to book are completely mystifying after staying on two occasions, where problems repeated. First up, this place is quite hard to find in the dark. Signage is invisible from the main road and the approach roads are narrow and unlit and do not inspire confidence. Look for the road 20 yards East of the Candlewood suites. We booked a kitchenette room. On arrival our room had no soap, no cutlery and neither of the sinks ( kitchen, bathroom) could be sealed with the plugs. How do you wash the dishes? Rooms are rather austere with wood flooring throughout. Internet was poor. Two separate employees advised us to use a connection that was not offered in either of our rooms. We had to sit in reception to get a connection. Bathroom toiletries are really cheap and nasty but this is true throughout the BW estate currently. On our second visit - same things. No working sink plugs, no cutlery, no internet. But in addition this time we had no shower curtain. This service level cannot be chance. There are clearly room inspection and maintenance problems here. If we are supposed to bring our own plugs.and cutlery then at least let us know beforehand. Credit to receptionist Yvette who did her best to help out with a series of basic service errors not of her making.

After a long afternoon into evening of searching for a affordable and also non-dilapidated Hotel we were lucky enough to come across this gem. The hotel was incredible very nice very clean service was amazing very gracious and hospitable host as well as affordable. Really nice part of town in comparison to probably the same hotel in Austin area it was really nice really clean and just really great personalities of everybody who work there.

5 Star Rating, friendly excellent staff, cleanliness, amenities, great breakfast and selection, great value. I highly recommend this Best Western. Stayed here over a week and it was a great stay, it was home away from home for over a week.

The rooms in this hotel are exceptionally clean. This hotel is /Best Western hotel my family and I have ever stayed in. We stayed with points last night which made our stay that much more enjoyable. Check in was fast, and breakfast was great. They have waffles, bacon, sausage, bagels, yogurt, cereal, fruit, coffee, tea, juices, and pasties. During breakfast I noticed they have a server checking the availability of the food constantly which is amazing. You don't have to ever ask for anything. I have never seen that in any other best western hotel before. The hospitality staff is so kind at this hotel. The location is gated and the hotel does have security cameras. They are also very reasonably priced, We have booked a 5 day stay for Christmas as well.

Hotel, services and personnel very satisfied for the price paid. The hotel has easy access to IH10 and Toll Rd 130. Convenient to restaurants, shopping and gas stations. Hotel is near the outlets, not far from Austin and other small towns.

The staff was very accommodating and professional. The hotel looked as though it was opened yesterday. It was very clean and fresh. Our room was extremely clean and everything was in working order. I definitely will stay at this location again!

Room had kitchenette & was roomy & well decorated. Tub had a small amount of black something in the corner of the tile around it, but was otherwise clean. Bed was comfortable. Front desk staff was friendly & very helpful. Complimentary, full breakfast.

Nice hotel. Rude guests. People tried to get in the elevator with me 3 times and pushed their way in. With Covid still around they should have more respect but that's not the hotels fault. People are rude. The hotel has signs that say only people of the same family get on at a time. I guess people cannot read The person next door got up at 6 am and turned his TV on to wake up the whole hallway. GREAT HOTEL JUST RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL GUESTS Would like to see some Teabags at the coffee bar though for us tea drinkers. And more ice machines.

Super comfortable beds, plenty of hot water and a good hot breakfast makes for a great stay. I always thought of Best Western as a bare bones hotel but Best Western + has definitely taken it a few steps up in the hotel world.

staff was polite and professional. room was clean, and well maintained. good water pressure, and room amenities. excellent hot breakfast that included eggs and breakfast meat. people tending breakfast area were attentive and friendly.

As someone who stays in alot of Best Westerns for work it was par for the course. It was a run of the mill BW. Parking lot was a bit small if they were to fill up, but that's the only disadvantage I noticed.

Roaches in bathroom Red stains on carpet and pillow The room was nasty with food crumbs on the floor. Looked like blood stains on carpet throughout the room got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and a roach crawled right in front of me. Disgusted and could not go back to sleep

Everything went without a hitch! Room was clean and everything worked. Bathroom was better than most of the motels i have stayed at. Convenient breakfast every day that's included with the room and has several choices. Beautiful indoor pool and fitness room. I'll be back!

The staff was very professional & friendly. The hotel was beautifully decorated & very clean! The indoor pool was a plus for the kids. Breakfast was great too, hot, fresh & many options. Plenty of stores near by & food.

We were in Austin to spend holidays with our son. We decided on BW plus Buda because of the location. I'm extremely picky about hotels and their cleanliness.(usually my husband doesn't even get the luggage until I have inspected the room) this hotel is a clean, well kept hotel. The rooms are spacious and our king bed was very comfortable. The staff is amazing they were professional and accommodating. We ended up staying 5 nights there and this is where we will stay every time we visit Austin.

This is by far one of the nicest hotels in Buda, TX. The front desk staff is extremely nice, the rooms were super clean and modern, and the breakfast was hot every morning. The entire hotel is updated. If you're in Buda, Tx do yourself a favor and book the Best Western Plus!

Don't stay here if you have work to do during your stay. The internet is horrible. In fact, it's non existent. From the moment I stepped into the door I had the feeling, “hey, glad your here, but now get out. The rooms are clean, but as a business traveler and after fighting through Austin, Texas traffic; I need to complete work. I was not able to which made for a long next day. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.

We stayed at this hotel on our way to Sea World, San Antonio. The hotel is located not too far from Austin. It looks like a fairly new hotel. However, it seems that the hotel lacks maintenance. Some of the bathroom fixtures like the show curtain rod cover is coming off and few maintenance issues in the room itself. The air conditioner unit is kind of noisy as well. The room is very spacious and offers a coffee maker, mini fridge and a microwave. The room is very clean. They also offer a decent breakfast with a variety of options. Overall the hotel is decent, and clean enough to stay. However, the price I paid for the room is not worth the value.

We stayed here on a weekend trip to the Austin / San Antonio area. When we arrived at around 7:00 PM, the gentleman at the counter (I didn't catch his name) was very polite and helpful. The rooms were clea and very comfortable. The breakfast service was tasteful and had a wide selection. Very pleasant stay.

A little understaffed when we staffed but front desk people worked to make it all “right”. Great property. I would definitely stay here again. I joined the BW Rewards after seeing the value from staying here.

I read so many great reviews and that's why we booked a room at BW. I'm sure their reviews are true, but the room we got smelled so humid and musty. My nose burned from the smell and I couldn't wait to get out of there. Restroom was very clean and beds looked clean as well, but the smell was too strong. The AC was off when we got there and when we turned it on, it was just a humid smell coming out of it. There was mold in the AC vents. Honestly, we should've asked for a different room. However, we were only passing through for one night. Should've could've would've. We don't travel often, but I'll make sure to look for rooms with no carpet, which I'm sure was one of the contributors to that smell. The walls are thin. Our neighbors didn't go to sleep until 2am. My parents stayed at the Candlewood right next door for the same price. It smelled so good upon entrance and their room was so clean and smelled so good. The lady there was cleaning the luggage carts. BW carts need some attention. I went to see my parents twice and the second time, there was someone walking around cleaning all surfaces and another lady mopping. The difference between BW and Candlewood is that BW had free breakfast from 6-9am. We only got the coffee. I will say that the staff at the BW front desk were very nice.

This hotel is in a convenient, safe location. There's a gas station, coffee shop, and food places nearby. The night staff was friendly and the check in process was easy. The commute to Austin is not too bad- if you don't travel at peak times, it's great!

My husband and i stayed at this hotel when my father passed away and then again when we were in town for his memorial service. This hotel is convenient to IH35 but located just off of it so it is quiet. Both times the rooms and the lobby area were sparkling clean. We also experienced friendly and competent employees.

The amount for the room not worth it an over charge you in the end tell you one price then at end of stay charge extra 89 bucks 59 of it was taxes come on now people traveling charge that much in taxes lie

When I entered my room, I was amazed to see how clean the room was. The bathroom was so big and unbelievable for the price I paid for the room. The room was big and felt like I was in a luxury hotel. Awesome!

Deadbolts did not work on rooms. Moved to three different rooms to find a working lock. Had to check out and back in due to how reservation was scheduled. Keys to rooms did not work the next day. Front desk not overly friendly.

We were researching what it would take to move to Austin, actually Hayes County. This spot just on the south side of Austin, off I35 was perfect. The traffic wasn't so bad, and their were all sorts of restaurants within minutes of hotel, also HEB, Walmart, pharmacies, shopping. It was the perfect spot.

We stayed here for 3 nights and were glad to check out early. Bug crawled on me during night sleeping and neighbors cell phone alarm was ringing in middle of night. Called front desk and let them know about the alarm ringing and hoped no one passed away. This place needs to fumigate it's property as another roach was crawling around the sleeper sofa the next day.

I came in late. The desk clerk was very nice and polite. She got me a room set up quickly. The room was great. Clean and tidy. My only complaint was that there was no parking because of all the trailers. The clerk was so busy but she worked on it quickly.

Very disappointed with the hotel room. Toilet seat was extremely wobbly and was secured with a wood screw. Room was very worn. Paint peeling from wall. Air conditioner very noisy. Furniture is cheap laminate that was peeled off. Hole in bed skirt. Buffet was typical but hot food was cold. Person working at breakfast had on a Best Western pole shirt that had many holes and was dirty. Front desk was not welcoming. No smiles. I would not stay here again.

I chose this motel for the prices compared with others in the area and for their top rating. Even with the stress of the pandemic and being short staffed, the motel provided a clean comfortable room, cheerful front desk staff and had redesigned the breakfast area to continue to provide a hot breakfast and keep staff and customers safe. I would stay here again.

The easy online check in helped make a smooth check in. We found this location clean and convenient. The check in gentleman was very kind. Also the gentleman serving breakfast was very nice. The breakfast was very generic, community coffee was delicious

Best thing about our stay was a comfortable bed. We both slept very well. Breakfast looked better than it tasted. Very bland. Mildew on the wall in the bathroom. The toilet is so low in the bathroom you have to trust that when you sit the toilet will be there to catch you. Overwhelming smell of air freshener in the room. It made me wonder what odor were they trying to hide. No luggage racks. Iron worked well. If you are short you will have a hard time washing your face in the sink in the bathroom. It is far away from the edge of the counter.

The room was filthy and this was not a cheap hotel. It was almost $200 for the night. The bathroom had mold growing around the tub--really!!. The soap dish in the shower had, at one point, come loose and had been attached haphazardly and crooked with silicon clear gel with mold showing underneath. Very sloppy workmanship. The toilet seat was broken and there was a dirty used hand towel stuffed on the bottom shelf against the sink pipe. The three towels were thin and worn and piled on the bottom shelf. The complimentary toiletries were the smallest we had ever seen in any hotel. The pillows felt grungy and dirty and the comforters were badly stained on both beds. We removed them. The sheets were worn and thin and had pull marks on them. We had a reservation; however, there was a sign on the door that they were sold out for the night. Maybe they don't have enough staff to clean the rooms. This was our first stay at a Best Western and it will be our last. Not impressed.

I was first put out because the tables in front of the counter for "spacing!" - You are already wearing a mask, there's plexiglass between us, IT IS TIME TO REMOVE ALL THAT! The breakfast/dining room area isn't set up so you can't eat in there, but there are also big boxes in there as well, almost first thing you notice walking in, real tacky looking. Didn't get recognized as I should be as a Diamond, which needless to say, I didn't get my free water bottles. Room was spacious, smelled good when we walked in. Great decor. A/C worked awesome! Bathroom sink had previous person's hair at sink, that grossed me out. I didn't say anything. I used my Clorox wipes and cleaned it up myself! Other than that, very comfortable and I would stay here again.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The indoor pool was great for our grandkids and due to rain they were able to enjoy it. The breakfast options were nice. The beds were very comfortable. We will definitely being staying here again as it is on the way to pick up our grandkids.

It was just ok. I was told by reservations they would be serving breakfast but when I arrived, they said it was limited due to Covid-19. Compared to other hotels who are following the same protocols, this one by far fell below my expectations in the breakfast dept. There was a sign that said no pets, and there were defiantly pets in the elevator with their owners which was not good for my sons allergies. The front desk clerks were friendly and the place was very convenient with lots of food options available.

The hotel presents itself as caring about its guests' health and safety, including requiring masks in the common areas. There are several signs about it, but employees won't say anything to people not wearing masks. A large group checked in the hotel today, I'd say at least 30, with not one of them wearing a mask. The four times I went into the lobby, I had to squeeze between people hanging around as if they've never heard of masks or social distancing. I called and spoke with Jeff at the front desk, who said he'd already gotten several calls from other guests but there was nothing he could do. He said I'd need to speak to a manager, but there wouldn't be one at the hotel until the next day. When I responded that there was plenty he could do, such as telling people they need to wear masks while in the lobby, he continued to pass the buck to absentee management. Then he patronizingly asked if there was anything else he could do for me ... though he hadn't done a thing for me or other concerned customers. The only thing I see the hotel doing about Covid is significantly limiting breakfast, and putting tables in front of the front desk to keep customers farther away from employees (and closer to each other). There are loads of hotels in this area. i strongly recommend choosing another one.

Overall, my stay here was below average at best but I do realize I get what I pay for. I'll start with positives because there were some. I really loved the decor and color scheme of the hotel, even with Covid the hotel offered a small hot breakfast by a nice gentleman, rooms were spacious and comfortable, the front desk gals were very kind and willing to help me out as you'll understand soon. Now unfortunately for the not so good. Upon my checkin, the gentleman who checked me in didn't make me feel welcome in the least and I was made to feel like an inconvenience for asking him to repeat something I didn't quite hear through masks and plexiglass. I originally had a floor room that was plopped right around the elevator, guest laundry and staff room. Right away I knew it was going to be loud, I requested a potential room change but was told it couldn't be done, which I understood. I was woken up by every human walking down the hall, getting breakfast or talking in the lobby. At one point I got to enjoy a rude guest arguing with an employee about the mask requirement. I called and asked for a room change again to which the lovely gal was able to help me with and I switched that afternoon. Life on the second floor was an approvement aside from a guest smoking pot somewhere on the floor that infiltrated my room and the hall. Was it the worst experience I ever had, no. Did I come in with high hopes to be let down, sadly yes. Wouldn't recommend.

Clean, safe place to stay with the most helpful, kind, and thoughtful staff. Quite honestly, they made you feel at home. It was the perfect place to be, especially during the Texas Winter Storm. I would definitely recommend!!!

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was big and clean and even though we were right across the elevator it was quiet. Definitely will stay again! Very clean and easy access to everything!! Really enjoyed our stay!!

This is a clean hotel. I am not a fan of hotels located near highways and surrounded by buildings and not trees, but this BW gets my repeat business because of the cleanliness, the affordable rates, and the friendly staff. I can tell that it was well managed and I appreciate that!

Every other hotel in same class we have visited lately has someone either serving your breakfast or pre packaged hot breakfast staying warm in disposable plates. It was ridiculous you pay the same price and they give you a banana, great value brand tiny granola bar and a small gas station pastry. No juice because it was close to closing time, but the night before they said breakfast was until 10am not 9:40am. Also we asked for a simple disposable toothbrush, they didn't even have that. Very sad

We stay at a lot of Best Westerns throughout the year. This one was probably the best we've been to but also the least expensive!!! We were very pleasantly surprised!! The bed we slept in was literally THE MOST COMFORTABLE!! (Better than my sleep number!!!)

Great rooms for the price, relatively new Hotel, upscale for midrange. Good places to eat in neat old town of Buda. Double Queen. $85 including tax. Stayed on upper floor, far enough off interstate that there was no noise. Definitely will stay again.

We stayed here on our way to see our grandchildren. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly. Traveling during a pandemic can be challenging but we felt very comfortable during our stay.

Stayed with some friends while visiting here in Buda. Got a suite with a sofabed and king size bed and was not disappointed along with fridge microwave and 45" TV. Friendly staff at check in and check out and hospitality as well. Indoor pool is heated and that's a plus. Breakfast was ok. I would stay here again.

Used our free night, love these freebies, breakfast included! Tired from fighting traffic on I-35, good place to recharge for more freeway travel. Had a good night's rest, nice quiet room, comfortable beds and clean, spacious room and bath. Decent breakfast and good hot coffee, just what is needed to hit the road.

When I say best hotel, I mean you get a lot for a little! Yeah, there is an inexpensive hotel in this area, but "you get what you pay for". Essentially, you pay a little for what nearby hotels charge $30/night more for! Gorgeous rooms, nice large breakfast, free Wi-Fi, large bathroom (I had the King Bed, not the suite). I was here because my tractor-trailer broke down, and my company had it at the Kenworth shop about 1/5 mile away. In terms of food, there is a Starbucks and a McDonalds all within 1/3 mile.

The room was great and service was amazing. Only downside was the walls were so thin I could hear the neighbors af all hours of the day, but that's also not against the hotel they didn't abide by requests to turn down their volume.

Very Nice Hotel with great service, food and accommodations. Indoor pool and great breakfast. The hotel is very well kept up and the staff is very personable and accommodating. It was an excellent choice for a weekend stay with 10 teenagers!

Really is the best in all areas. I have never been disappointed with this hotel. Rooms are clean and quiet. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is like many other hotels but the staff here keeps items stocked and hot and fresh. Price is always the lowest around and definitely a bargain.

The desk clerk was very helpful to correct a reservation error I had made online. This made my stay very worry free. The room was very comfortable, clean and included all the needed amenities. The hotel was very clean throughout and breakfast included many different selections. I will be staying at this motel in the future and encourage my friends that travel this way to stay here as well.

Nice location right off the freeway. Hotel is nice and clean . Room with King size bed is spacious and equipped with a microwave, and small frig. Breakfast is plentiful and good. Made the reservation online and checking in and checking out was smooth and quick.

My stay was just ok. I was only there for one night and if I had to stay multiple nights I probably would of checked out and gone somewhere else. The Wifi for one was terrible. I had work to do in my room and it was nearly impossible to get any service. When i confronted the young lady at the front desk she said she didn't know and shrugged her shoulders. She didn't have any answers to any of my questions. Also the room was a bit dirty. I didn't get the clean vibe. The wash cloths in my room had stains on them and one had some massive wear and tear. There was hair in the tub when my 10 year old was getting ready to shower and the toilet seat was crooked. The breakfast on the other hand was nice. The attendant was friendly and he kept things well stocked and fresh. I don't think I would choose to stay in this hotel again.

Staff not friendly. Stood at desk waiting to check in with no one around. Requested a ground floor room due to limited mobility. Not acknowledged instead place on floor where there was not even and ice machine and almost the end of the hall. One use shampoo and conditioner not replenished when used Very noisy from next room

I want to tell you that it's been a nice stay here. Clean and comfortable. A full length mirror too. Perfect since we were headed to a wedding. Mini fridge included. Comfty chairs and desk. We always stay here when visiting Austin. We did notice that some details on the room cleanliness were missed this time though. Overall we will stay again in the future. The breakfast is simple and the parking is close to the entrance wherever you park.

This property was one of the prettiest Best Westerns we have stayed in. Located next to the Interstate, it was a conveniently location near Austin and an easy drive to San Antonio. We mainly did laundry during our brief stay, which worked out great for us.

Great hotel used to visit family for the Thanksgiving Holidays. Good location for visiting family in the Austin suburbs. Quick access to the interstate as well as the toll road. Great Service and friendly staff

Hotel was very up to date and clean. Rooms were nice and spacious. The breakfast hotel provided is one of best I have ever had. It had plenty to choose from. The distance to Dripping Springs was close enough.

The Buda,TX location was wonderful. Quiet, very very clean and roomy. Lobby and halls were extremely clean and very well kept. Definitely top shelf. Check in was very quick and all answers were 100% satisfactory.

Hotel was great, staff was alright they could use a little help, breakfast was yummy! Hotel was clean decor was beautiful, everything was in working order. Only thing was when someone flushed a toilet the water pressure dropped tremendously

Very clean and comfortable. There during music festival in Austin and room prices had jumped so not commensurate with other stays at Best Western Plus. Paid $145/night and should rate about $115. No complaints on room and breakfast.

I usually stay at a nearby hotel when visiting this area since my daughter attends college at nearby Texas State however I loved the person touch I received when I stayed at this location. Was greeted and asked which floor I had a preference for and that I received a room upgrade. Will definitely be staying here again!

The room is very clean & large. Quiet too. Did not use other amenities (pool, gym) but breakfast was decent & convenient. My only recommendation is: take your own pillow. The ones provided are very large & we did not find them comfortable.

Housekeeping returned to our room on 2 afternoons when our room was unavailable in the mornings. Each time, the employee was personable & asked how she could best serve us. All front desk personnel were professional, on task, & served well. I did suggest adding an easier-to-reach soap dish for the shower chair, add another bar in shower, & to tighten the safety bar next to toilet, since it is somewhat loose. Other than these small details, this is one of the BEST ADA SHOWERS I'VE ever been in! The bed is high off the ground but comfy. Good A/C, fridge, micro, great TV! Room 106 is spacious in every way for ease of use by wheelchair users or other needs. 2 nightstands, comfy chair with ottoman, rolling office chair & desk, full-length mirror, short-shelf closet. The room is near the lobby, laundry, elevators, & ice machine. Handicap parking is a little further away from front entry, but not far. BW+ Buda is close to EVERYTHING we needed: HEB, salon, wedding venue, craft store, coffee shops. Great experience.

No surprises. This hotel is run efficiently and always clean. The staff is friendly and professional. Breakfast was good and a great way to start your day. Rooms are clean and quiet. Great sleep. This hotel is everything you need it to be. My first choice when I travel to the Austin area.

Nice property. Close to several restaurants and shopping. Close to Austin and easy access to San Marcos and New Braunfels. Nice breakfast as well. Will definitely be staying here again. Great value for the price.

This was our 5th or 6th visit in the past 3 months and this hotel never ceases to amaze me this place is spotless!! The breakfast is very good and the beds are great!!the staff are 2nd to none,the only gripe I have is no smoking rooms but nowadays no one has smoking rooms!!there are 4 hotels on the property and BW is the best by far!! I would recommend to anyone!!

We did a long road trip and this was the second hotel we tried. The staff super friendly, clean room, no smells in the room, good hit breakfast. My only 2 suggeations are to have pillows less softy, my neck was hurting because of this but I consider this like a personal opinion, and to have more gluten free options

We came to Austin for a long weekend to visit family in Buda. Very convenient location and newer property. Close to where we needed to be, clean, friendly and enough parking. We did not want daily service but if there was anything we needed the staff happily provided. he AC kept us very cool!

This hotel was a cheaper option than staying in Austin. Close to all kinds of dining options. Room was very clean and smelled clean when we walked in. Staff was friendly and helpful. Buda is a great place!

What a great value! Things that stood out, though were the reasonable prices at the little store next to reception desk, and ease of using business center and fitness center. Wish we had time to swim in indoor pool.

Tricky to find as it's new and not on the sat nav system so far.No complaints at all , room clean , staff helpful parking easy and just off the Main interstate,,perfect . And a great nights sleep, just perfect

Easy access from major road yet far enough off of the road to avoid noises. Was a new building with all of the amenities you would need for a great business or vacation trip. I will definitely stay at this location again if in the area.

The only bad thing I can think of is that entry to the parking lot is a bit convoluted. Take the little side road/parking lot entrance after the "Truck Entrance" and wind around. You can also go in by Starbucks and wiggle back. Either way - very nice staff, comfy beds, lovely room (frig / microwave) and very good breakfast. Pool was nice too (indoor). Enjoy

The hotel was very nice actually it was very late on a Friday night and we got the last room. The staff was very polite and helpful. The rooms were spacious, well decorated, with modern updates and very clean and sophisticated. Would recommend to family and friends because the pricing was very responsible.

We have stayed at Best Western Plus in several different cities and have had excellent experiences most of the time...professional staff clean hotel and rooms, great breakfast selection. Highly recommend signing up for the rewards program.

Beds were very comfortable. Hotel is new, everything is fresh and clean. Nice, big HD TV in the room. Didn't eat breakfast there, so I can't say how that is, but the dining area is very nice. One thing I did like was the 12:00 check-out, not rushed to leave. And breakfast is served 7am to 10am, which is later than most and convenient if you like to sleep a little late.

When we first got there, our towels had dirt and smudges all over them, the bed had crumbs in it, the swing lock on the door didn't work, one of the elevators went out of service, very low water pressure in the shower, power went out in half the room our first night, gym equipment is very outdated and in need of repairs, and housekeeping tried coming in our room saying that her list said no one had the room reserved at the time. Wouldn't recommend staying here.

House keepers, breakfast and reception staff could be more hospitable. We went down for breakfast at 9.08 AM and no food remained. Apart from Starbucks, no other stores around. Room was quite bright which we like. Thanks

Very neat clean and modern facility. Would stay here again. They do provide breakfast. Do use caution when entering the parking lot from the road. Glad it was day light so we could see the large dip in the road.

Nice motel. Clean, New, Great pillows, Great bed, Great location. First time staying at a Best western and will definitely stay again!! Price was slightly high in my opinion but the property was very safe and that's worth the money.

It was a very nice hotel, with a great staff. Overall a nice stay for a work trip outside of the greater metro area, but was a little over priced for location and amenities. They could do more to help people from out of town with where local stores and food locations are. but overall an enjoyable stay.

My check in was fast, and they had a delicious hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy and of course texas waffles. Plus all the other stuff like yogurts and pastries. Overall my stay was very comfortable

This was a top notch Best Western Plus. Wonderful staff, and exceptional rooms - clean with every amenity needed. Comfortable beds, and large relaxing rooms. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone staying in this part of Austin.

Cristal and all of the employees were so kind and went above and beyond! Everything was clean and every staff member had a smile, a kind word, or helped open the door when my hands were full, to helping me work the waffle machine to folding clothes! The best in Buda!!

This was a good location for everything we wanted to do. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lobby area was nice and the breakfast was fine. I stayed in room 106, which has a roll-in shower. The restroom had spots around the toilet and the shower curtain had what looked like blood on it. We left put things in our respective rooms and went out to dinner. I reported the issues and they had the shower curtain changed out and most (but not all) of the spots gone. My travel mate switched out her pillow because, while the sheets seemed fresh, the pillow itself had an odor. So there were positives and negatives for us both.

If You are on I-35 and want to have a special night's sleep/rest.. Then go to Best Western in Buda Texas south of Austin Texas. The entrance is a little difficult to get to the Motel, but it's easier after that. The staff is top of the line and also very friendly and eager to solve your tiredness problem. After and great night's sleep(didn't hear a thing) the morning breakfast is always tasty, fresh,and delicious. the staff attendant also solves any request for special orders. Thou this was our first time here... it will not be our last.

Great hotel in Buda on northbound side of I35. Our son lives in South Austin and this was a much more convenient and normally a much less expensive hotel than previous Austin visits. (It was during the week of SXSW and hotels had all raised rates—including this one). Very clean quiet and comfy room. Soft bed linens! Even the emergency stairs were carpeted to reduce noise!!

This place was in excellent shape, calming decor in room, nice clean warm pool and Great Location to access Austin. The coffee machine in the lobby area does put out extremely Hot Coffee and the cups are to flimsy to hold the heat. I suggest bringing your own cup or using Starbucks about 100 yards away in front of the Hotel.

We called them to book a room, everything was great but we just got off our flight at 1am and were very tired. We were woken up by room service at 8am. Yes we had a do not disturb sign on our door. Everything else was pretty good.

Best Western is my place to go. It is affordable and it has always been clean and good continental breakfast. If i ever had a problem with a room, they will take care of it asap. I always will use Best Western as my choice of hotel stay.

The only reason I'm giving it a 4/5 is because when we arrived, we were given a room that was yet to be cleaned! So their was trash and the bed was unmade and it smelled just dirty, so we went and got it changed quite fast. But overall, it was great! The bed was so comfortable, I literally did not want to get out of bed and head back home! The location was great because it was a reasonable drive to everything we had planned! This will be our hotel every time we head out to Austin because we just loved it so much! Everything was great, from the room to the staff working there!

We were actually visiting Austin, but looking for hotels there I found them pretty expensive. Searching for a better solution, I found this one having great reviews which I can only agree on. Hotel has a great location, of course a car is a must - it's some 15 min drive to Austin and apart from that there's a huge shopping mall and many dining options 5 min from the hotel (also towards Austin) on the opposite side of the road. Hotel is brand new, very clean and modern with bright reception area. Rooms are alike with all you need for a tourist stay. Breakfast is average - standard American, nothing to write home about but enough to start a day and keep you fed for few hours. Best of all was the pool - it's fair in size, bigger than many others we've been on our tour and heated to a very pleasant temperature. Place to recommend in terms of quality/price.

We traveled to Buda and stayed at this hotel for 3 days. It was initially difficult to find this hotel but it was nestled with other hotels just off of the Interstate. The employees were professional and helpful. The room was quiet and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was tasty. We had a pleasant stay here.

Just north of San Marcos and south of Austin - you can go anywhere in a few minutes. We love that the cleanliness and accommodations for feather allergies. The breakfast is always hot and fresh with plenty of options for picky eaters.

A wonderful experience. Construction at our home forced us out. This hotel was exceptional. Front desk did everything possible to help us!! The breakfast is very good!! Coffee ready 24/7!! So worth finding the entrance!!

Hotel is very close to the airport and it took us less than 10 minutes to drive there. The beds are INCREDIBLY COMFORTABLE! We left early before breakfast, and I had mentioned that when we checked in, as the lady that checked us in told us what time breakfast was. When we checked out in the morning, there were 3 bagged breakfasts for us! Great staff! Great hotel!

As the title reads, I highly recommend this excellent hotel for its caring staff during a very rough Christmas Eve due to a family situation, as I had to travel and stop to rest. The room was wondeyand the bed was very comfortable and helped me rest through a very hard time. But, the staff were extremely kind and caring more than anything. Thank you to this particular hotel and highly recommend it to all travelers.

New property , quite side of town, great staff, breakfast was great to have in morning with sausages, eggs, waffle , biscuit and gray . Internet worked fine . no problems during our stay . Room was clean and smell fresh as soon as you walk in .

The rooms were clean and everything seems pretty new and well kept. The beds were very uncomfortable and the walls were paper thin. The person next to us was watching tv and even with a noise maker in our own room I could still hear every word of their movie. Finally around 11:30 I called the front desk. She said she would ask them to turn it down. They finally turned the tv off around 2am. Not the hotels fault, but the structure and building are cheaply made! Then our alarm went of at 3:15am, again not the hotels fault. They started knocking on all of the doors by 9am for house keeping. So annoying. Just not a good experience, got zero sleep. Probably not going to stay at a Best western again. This is the second one that we had a bad experience with crappy beds and a lot of noise.

This staff of this hotel seems to have forgotten that they're in the hospitality business. My event was cancelled and even though I called two days prior they refused to issue me a refund even though it's well within their power to do so. I will definitely not be staying at any Best Westerns going forward.

Beautiful and immaculate grounds, lobby, room and hallways. Wonderful breakfast including scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy. Breakfast also included cereals, waffles, fruit etc. Staff very friendly and accommodating. I would choose this particular location again.

Stayed here for a family wedding. Had a nice room with two burner cooktop, fridge, microwave. Great mattress, very comfortable. Great location right on the highway and walking distance to Starbucks, if you're so inclined. Staff was extremely helpful and prompt regarding a minor issue with TV remote.

this Best Western Plus is only about 18 months old and is just a bit south of Austin. decent location to attempt to access Austin-traffic is horrible from any direction. The service was excellent. the front desk personnel are obviously well trained. i had an issue with early am neighbor noise and when i brought it to their attention, they emphatically told me that if it happens again-no matter the time-they would investigate and attempt to resolve. problem never returned fortunately. the room i had was a king bed kitchenette room that was nicely furnished though another chair would have been nice. bed was quite comfortable and the kitchen equipment good quality. not much view since it looked out on a parking lot with 3 other hotels but outside noise was minimal. breakfast was decent for a Best Western. nice to have plenty of fresh fruit. two minor complaints, which is an issue with many properties offering kitchenette rooms, is in my opinion if you offer dishes/dishwasher, at least put some cheap dish washing soap or powder in the room! along with a cheap cloth or sponge to do hand wash. and how hard would it be to add a cheap roll of paper towels? these seem like no brainers to me. Additionally, the wi-fi in my room-307-was maddeningly sporadic. i believe during certain times it was overloaded but others it just would not connect to my Ipad. should be addressed. would stay again.

We chose this hotel due to its proximity to the Circuit of Americas and due to its cost. Hotels in this price range in the US really do exceed the UK for quality! On arrival we checked in straight away and found our room to be large and clean. Free breakfast every day with plenty of options to suit all tastes. Ample parking out from of the hotel. The hotel is located in an area with shops and food outlets so very convenient and the Grand Prix track was a 15 minute drive away with central Austin around 30 mins in the traffic. The front desk were happy to store our luggage for us on our last day in Buda which was appreciated. Suggestions for improvements would be a safe in each room and a few more bathroom essentials such as shower gel! A good stay and would recommend.

Well priced, the staff was very accommodating, friendly, and warm. We book an accessible room, the tub was a regular tub, the room with a walk-in shower only had one king bed. The staff got a shower chair so my mom was able to use the tub. Housekeeping was great, the breakfast was nice. I used the fitness center and pool and hung out in the breakfast area with my niece & nephew for games. I highly recommend the property.

This was a wonderful facility and the staff was very warm and inviting and made us feel right at home. This was a very enjoyable stay and the facility and staff met all our needs for the weekend and the bed was very comfortable

Put on 4th floor of hotel. First night, guest in next room kept TV on all night. We faulted in not calling front desk. Ended up being moved from room with king bed to "Handicap" room. Closet rack was not high enough to hang our clothes. Moved again to room with 2 queen beds. Again noise in hall and guest room next to ours. This time, did notify front desk who handled the issue and the situation quietened down. /Front desk handled situation as best they could.

Short stay that was excellent! Comfortable and clean suite! Delicious breakfast! Dining room attendant was very attentive and made everyone very comfortable! Thanks for very pleasant stay!! Will definitely stay here again for future visit.

This is a very nice, clean and modern hotel. My wife and I had a king suite with a couch, large refrigerator with functional freezer and extra large 80+ channel full HDTV. The bathroom had a large shower. Only drawback was it had no place to raise my leg and rest my foot to make washing easier for elderly people like me. I also don't like any Hobbit-sized toilets which are hard on the elderly. Breakfast choices were excellent.

All of the staff members we came in contact with were kind, courteous and professional. The 2 young ladies at the front desk, the gentleman taking care of breakfast and our maid, everyone was really great. There are Restaurants, fast food chains, a grocery store, shopping, liquor store and pharmacy all very close. The room was clean, nice decor. My only complaint was the toilet being so very low to the ground, usually I don't mind as I am 5 foot tall but it felt literally 6 inches off the ground. Everything worked in the room, it was fair priced to me. Beds were firm, pillows were comfy.Breakfast was plentiful, I would stay again if I should find myself in this area again.

Buda was just 10min from south Austin which is where we were spending our time. Quick trip back and forth and this hotel was great! Clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and full breakfast. I will definitely make this my go to hotel when visiting Austin again.

The hotel is immaculate, the rooms spacious with a variety of styles, everything is clean. Staff is great. It's a newer hotel. Love the décor. Anywhere that has purple walls has my vote. Have stayed there twice. Satisfied with my stay both times. Great location. Easy on and off I35. Starbucks minutes away -- if you're walking. Less if you're driving.

The hotel is only 1 year old now and is cheap and clean, if your staying in Buda Texas this one is my pick. Breakfast and parking is included and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Oh and it has an door swimming pool.

Impressive hotel open only one year. Clean rooms with a full kitchen - Fridge, dish washer, microwave, stovetop, sink, dishes, pans and utensils. Comfortable bed and great air conditioning. Were able to adjust the setting to a comfortable temp. Cooled the room even in the 107 degree Texas heat! Not much of a sitting area but that was fine for us. Nice, clean, spacious bathroom. The only downside was flimsy towels already frayed. Only two bath towels were provided. One had a hole and the other had an old dried blood spot. It's beyond me how such a nice new hotel can skimp on towels but hopefully that will be addressed soon. The only other minor issue was the lack of shelf space in the shower for toiletries and such. We had to put them on the shower floor. A small soap holder was there but it was only big enough to hold the tiny hotel bar soap and it needed caulking. Breakfast was typical hotel buffet breakfast but was pretty fresh and warm. Bacon was too greasy for me but no one else seemed to mind. Overall great hotel stay - good value for the cost. Hopefully, they will take care of the minor issues for a 5 Star stay for future guests.

This hotel was extremely clean and professional. The entire staff from the maintenance man to the breakfast lady to the front desk hostess were extremely professional and nice. The rooms were extremely clean. My wife and I stayed and had a weekend in South Austin. The hotel is minutes from Barton Springs. The breakfast was plentiful and had plenty to choose from. Parking was great and easy access to the hotel. Not far off the freeway and great location. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed for one night after leaving the Schlitterbahn waterpark late after their 8:00 closing. The hotel is easy to spot right off 1-35, but was a little difficult finding the right road to actually get to it. Once there, we were greeted warmly and checked in quickly. The room was clean and spacious. Beds were very comfortable also. The free breakfast was delicious - lots of foods to choose from. I would definitely stay here again.

I booked a room based on the website posted image only arrived at the property in a shocking finding of the dramatic difference of the property condition and appearance in sharp contrast. Very new hotel. The room was clean and the service was wonderful. The hotel is outside of town but the town of Buda is only a few minutes away by car. It took 25 minutes to drive into Austin the next morning at 9:00 AM. This hotel is a great value for the money and I will stay there again when I am in Austin.

Once again I've been impressed with the level of customer service, professionalism, enthusiastic employees and ergonomics of Best Western Plus in Buda, TX. The staff and hotel knocked it out of the park from the pleasant smile each day, great breakfast each morning and cleanliness of the facility. Everything I was expecting and more. Great location, hot breakfast, indoor pool, very comfortable room and bed. I was here 3 nights while visiting relatives and will definitely stay here on future visits. Just minutes from Austin, or head west out of Buda and enjoy a great drive in Texas Hill Country.

Very nice BW...I highly recommend it for all the amenities are new, clean, and fresh! One exit from Cabellas and close to great restaurants and not too far from Austin Proper. We accidentally left our hanging clothes and the staff secured them until our return the next day! Thanks honest service!

This hotel is in a remote area but definitely a 4-1/2 star. I would have given it 5 but the breakfast was a little lacking. The hotel was new, clean, beautifully and tastefully decorated. The hotel staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. We had to deal with some medical issues and they made every effort to help us out. The linens were nice, beds super comfy and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!

This is a new area of development for hotels. The Hotel was new and in great shape all around. Buda is a good location to access downtown or many other areas, although it is a bit of a drive, it is a good price for a good hotel. The staff was friendly and checking in or out was a breeze. Austin has gotten expensive over the years and this is a nice secure area. Free parking is also a plus.

From check in to check out, a seamless experience. Staff was professional and kind. Room was inviting with an amazingly comfortable bed. Breakfast was good; food was warm and there were many options. The value can't be beat.

This was a fantastic experience for the family. Everything was working great. It is a new hotel and doesn't have that funky smell old ones have. Food well prepared, larger seating area. The pool was small but was warm. There was no traffic noise and we were facing the expressway. There are nice stores nearby. One has a huge aquarium.

Very clean place and friendly staff. This was my first time staying at a Best Western. It was the perfect distance from Austin and allowed us to explore more than just the city. Would definitely stay again!

I work at a Best Western myself &I have nothing but positive things to say about my stay here! The Check in Process was fast and simple thanks to Ashlyn, she was very nice, polite & very helpful. The rooms were cozy & comfortable, I would definitely be staying here again if i am ever in the area!

Room was comfortable but when I went to turn in for the night, there were black hairs on my bed sheet and the blanket/comforter had a very gross yellow stain. I immediately called the front desk and requested clean linens, which was provided. Other issue is the we stayed in room 425 because I did request a quite corner room on the top floor but discovered that zero heat is provided in the bathrooms of rooms on the top floor. Strange but true and it was super cold; probably in the lower 60's. I had to ask for a price adjustment due to these issues and was given $20.00 off my nights stay. Not enough in my opinion but needed to get on the road and since I had to ask, didn't feel that I would get anything else. It's a shame because it's a pretty hotel but cleanliness is my top priority and this hotel didn't provided this. Breakfast was okay-had all the basic hotel food; had to ask for water and then wish I didn't as the breakfast hostess had a cold! Just hope she washed her hands first after blowing her nose. All in all, I would look elsewhere before staying here again.

I have not one bad thing to say about this place. I love the colors the people the breakfast. If I had one thing to say for improvement it would only be the entrance. There is a street beside the hotel that they could really use a driveway at for people who miss the turn.

The lady named Nagham, who stopped by our room to ask if there was anything we needed, like towels, etc. My husband enjoyed talking with her, esp since she came from another country. She was very kind and sweet, and had the most beautiful smile. We learned that her daughter took care of the breakfast area, and we were amazed (small world), because my husband also talked to her when we were at breakfast, and comment on how very nice and helpful she was, because he has trouble seeing things when there are so many choices. Wow. Where do I begin. Our daughter found us this hotel while we were on the road and very tired from a long day. It would have been dangerous for us to continue, especially being senior citizens. We were impressed with the grandness of the hotel, nestled in among the other tall, beautiful hotels there. That alone was a welcome sight, meaning security and hopefully comfort. When we entered the lobby, we were impressed with the welcoming Christmas tree, the other decorations, and the electric fireplace. The great lighting impressed me because the lobby was not dimly lit nor dingy. The check-in was smooth, and thank you for the automatic opening doors. We had just come from a hotel without those, and it's hard for one person to hold open the door and push a loaded cart through at the same time. Good investment. Our room was beyond lovely. The archway at the entrance, the tall ceilings, the heavy sliding glass door in the shower, the closet with normal clothes hangers and a door, unlike the hotel we came from, a luxurious bed that was just right in firmness, and not so soft to give backaches. Oh!! Wow...the bathroom floor was tile, as was the breakfast area!...and that brings me to my next praise. I have never seen a more beautiful and magical breakfast area in all my 61 years! Tray ceilings, beautiful tile, grand and bright lights—I especially loved the little lilac chandeliers that looked globular. I could stare at those for hours. The breakfast was delicious, and the different sections were arranged nicely, so there was no congestion with all the people. It was an altogether pleasant experience, and reminded me very much of a cruise ship. Beauty all around. Thank you for such a wonderful stay, and at such a great price, I might add. Hotel is kept up very nicely. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Very nice employees. We came down to Austin for a medical problem/ solution. We had a hard time finding the hotel as we could not see the sign from the freeway. The desk clerk helped us find our way. Basically, we felt welcome and felt like it was "our home away from home." The location is very convenient to everything with easy access to the freeway. The beds were super-comfortable---I especially appreciated this because I have a terribly bad back.

It is really a great quality hotel for such a great price. We were so surprised with how nice it was. The bed was extremely comfortable and tv and internet worked well! The staff was friendly and the rest of the hotel was nice.

I just wanted to say what a wonderful stay my friends and family had for my Dad's 75th Birthday. The entire front desk staff and housekeepers did a great job! The breakfast was great too. Special thanks to Gilbert at the front desk who handled everything so smoothly for our arrivals. The rooms are extremely comfortable and it is a very convenient location off the I-35 as well as 45 Toll road from the Airport.

The housekeeping staff might need a little training. Our room was not cleaned while we were out. After a day of visiting family and attending a band concert, we returned to our room for the evening and the room had not been cleaned.

This hotel is new and gorgeous decor. What a great value outside of Austin. We stayed three nights and slept great every night. When you add in a good breakfast, it can't be beat. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Staff was very helpful and assisted us with anything we needed. Room was very clean and housekeeping did a great job. Breakfast was good also. It was home away from home the lobby was decorated for the holidays, very cozy.

Brand new hotel and everything worked well. A little awkward getting to the hotel from the interstate as the frontage road is one way and the street leading back to the hotels is between a bank and a restaurant. It doesn't look like a street. There is one other access point but it isn't clearly marked as a street. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The hotel was very clean, which is a big deal for me with 2 kids. There were plenty of towels. The linens were clean and the beds were comfy. In the morning, there was a free hot breakfast. It was great. The kids loved the biscuits with gravy and the juice. Overall a great experience! Will stay again if needed!

Have to say I have never stayed in a Best Western before so I did not know what to expect but I was very pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed staying there. I have to say I have never slept on a more comfortable mattress. Most hotel mattress's are not that comfortable but this one was outstanding!

Really nice hotel in Buda. We were there for a wedding and many of the guest stayed there as well. Everyone had very positive things to say about the hotel, especially the size of the room. Would definitely stay there again!

Stayed one night in Novemember. Hotel is almost new. Staff is friendly and helpful. Morning breakfast was good and had numerous choices. Couple of very minor housekeeping issues in room (shower door was streaked and there was a tiny bit of mold/mildew on grout in shower area.

Went to visit family in Austin, had a delightful stay in Buda Best Western. Everyone was very helpful and friendly during check-in and check-out and both nights we stayed. Breakfast had lots of choices.

Best Western is my hotel of choice, and I've stayed at many across the state of Texas. This location is, without question, the nicest. Interior; exterior; room; bed; comfort; breakfast and cleanliness - Hands down! The nicest! Ashlyn, (front desk) provided “superior” customer service!

Wasn't looking to stay in Buda but since rooms seemed to be full in Austin checked into Buda, almost a new hotel and only about 20 minutes into Austin. Rates in Buda were also much less than Austin. Good breakfast included although on weekdays it's only till 9am so it was being put up by the time we went down. I think it's till 10 on weekends. Not a luxury hotel but very clean and modern and well maintained.

Stayed here on our way to San Antonio rather than staying in Austin. Great Hotel, great location, however very poor signage getting into the property at night. During the daytime it wouldn't be as bad. Either turn into the car wash or the Starbucks parking lot. We were in the one way road which runs next to the interstate and missed the entry at the Starbucks. We turned into a business past the Starbucks. Then literally had to drive probably 5 miles out and back over the interstate to get back to the hotel. As we couldn't go back on the one way road. This was a pain in the butt. Surprisingly there are three or four hotels in the same spot without signage. Maybe it's just me??? The hotel and staff were great. It is a new property. Would recommend. And hopefully the signage will improve. TripAdvisor is a great forum to mention shortcomings, however minor.

Booked room through Harley-Davidson ride planner. Relatively new hotel. Staff was very caring and courteous. Good breakfast selection and staff made sure to keep it stocked. Property was very clean and we'll maintained.

The Best Western Plus in Buda, TX, was clean, comfortable and had a great breakfast. The hotel staff members were friendly and helpful. And, all for a great price. Getting back-and-forth to the city and the airport was a breeze!

In addition to awesome services provided by Gilbert, Maggie, was such a remarkable lady. I had spoken with her prior to my arrival, informing her we might be checking in late. I wanted to be assured, our reservation would not be cancelled due to a late arrival. She calmed my fears, and promised I had nothing to worry about. As it turned out, we actually arrived earlier than anticipated. The next morning, I had the sincere privilege of meeting Maggie, with a HUG, during my conversation to compliment her on the appearance of breakfast items and the large variety of items offered. Of all the Best Western Hotels we have stayed at this was the most spacious dining area, and provided the most breakfast items. I especially appreciated the low calorie yogurt, and that there were additional choices than strawberry. I am highly allergic to strawberry. Needless to say, I was surprised to find a kitchenette in our beautifully decorated room, with a FULL size refrigerator, dishes, eating utensils and a dishwasher!! Wow!!! Smells clean and spotless room and bathroom.

Very good experience. The staff was friendly and the grounds were clean. Even when the hotel was booked to compacity it was quiet and never felt full, except maybe at breakfast. We would stay here again if returning to the Austin area.

It was a great location, lots of places to shop, eat just down the street and very convenient location to our relatives in Manchaca, TX.

First, my 79 year old father was on the side of the highway barfing because he got food poisoning from the free breakfast. The pillows are filled with cheap foam so they don't flatten out at all so you can sleep. The beds are very uncomfortable. We stayed here for our last two nights in Texas.

Good service for the most part can't complain at all. Solid commute to and from work. I think it is the best value for the llocation this would be my recommendation if you have to stay south of Austin

I'm rating it very good as opposed to excellent because it is definitely not a "luxury" property, but we have no complaints at all. We were in the Austin area for a reunion. It was an ACL festival weekend so hotels in the city were expensive and hard to find so we chose Buda because it was central to the reunion and the hill country where we chose to spend our time rather than the chaos of Austin during ACL. The Best Western was the best value I found. The hotel is less than 6 months old so everything is new and clean. Room was nice and big, bathroom nice and more importantly, clean. Breakfast is ok, but based on what you're paying per night, definitely worth it. Lots of other food choices nearby if you prefer.

I had initially requested adjoining rooms & was told the hotel didn't have any. Since I was traveling with 5 children, I really needed to make sure my kids were close to me, & the front desk couldn't figure out how to reserve our rooms to accommodate us. Additionally, the pool was advertised as heated, but upon arrival, we found that it was quite cold. A quick call to the front desk yielded a response saying that the pool is only heated in the winter. That was a disappointment. Finally, one of the rooms had the thermostat set at 50 degrees when we arrived! It was freezing. Beds were comfortable, though, and the rooms were pretty clean.

My stay here was short but had a lasting impression! The front desk staff here was friendly and super helpful. My favorite was the variety presented at breakfast. I enjoyed all the toppings that went with the waffles, yogurts, oatmeal. Such a simple idea that makes all the difference. Thank you so much for making my stay a memorable one.

The same tired breakfast every morning...dry scrambled eggs, link sausage, waffles, cold cereals, breads, generic tiny pastries. No spa/hot tub. No racks for towels in the bathroom. Chemical smell from carpet??

Everything was nice , we enjoyed our stay ! pool was nice . YES we would recommend it . will be staying here again . hotel was clean , front desk staff was great , management was great . we had wonderful stay! (:

The hotel is nice and new. I loved the decor (purple accents!) The internet worked well with no lagging. The only problem I had was the room was a little warm but I think I just did not set it low enough. The location is good as there are two other hotels right next to it. It felt safe.

The facility is new and because of that was a very stay. The quality of the construction of the facility was rather sloppy and I think it will take a lot of effort form the maintenance staff to keep it a comfortable place to stay a couple of years from now.

This "new hotel" had a broken phone in our room, was missing a lamp, had a dirty bedspread and shawl, and the door wouldn't close properly. The a/c in the elevator wasn't working, and the maid who "cleaned" our hotel room didn't leave towels, soap, pen/pad or cups for coffee or water. They said they don't provide diamond members with the amenties, like newspaper delivery in the morning, or even the bill prior to check-out. The breakfast items were cold, and not refreshed The only wasy to know it was a BW "plus" was the price they charged!! A true disgrace for a Best Western.

Absolute worst Best Western I have ever stayed at. I travel over 300 days a year for business. You smell everyone else's food cooking in the halls and it permeates into your room. Curry anyone ! The beds rattle against the walls. Floors are paper thin (typical modular throw together design). Wifi spotty at best. Clerk told me breakfast ends at 10. Went down at 9 and they had already picked up breakfast. They must be afraid someone is going to eat to much of there profit. I'm Hyatt platinum and Marriott platinum and just got BW rewards. I'll throw it away. BW used to have a nice down home feel product. Now just another lower level typical modular chain. I would give it no stars if I could.

New facility with a great staff. Reserved rooms for my daughters wedding and everything went as planned. The staff was one of the friendliest bunch of people for a hotel. They made sure our stay including all of our guest from the wedding party were taken care of.

My first time to stay at this new hotel and a Best Western Plus. I stayed in a king room with a kitchenette. I loved the room layout. It had everything I needed. This room did have a shower only, no tub, but a big shower. Everything was in working order. The room was very quiet. I didn't hear anything - no voices, slamming doors, elevators or traffic noise. I was alone and felt very safe. Property is very well lit and in a good area. All staff I came in contact with were very nice. I did not eat the free breakfast, I opted to sleep in. Bed was a little firm for me but still comfortable. My only complaint is that my room did not receive housekeeping service on my second day. I'm came in late to wet towels, a full trash can and an unmade bed. I hung the towels in the closet (since there are basically no towel bars) to dry and made the best of it although that is one of my pet peeves. I was out of my room by 11 and sign was off the door plus they were cleaning in the room next to me. So, no excuse in my opinion. That being said, I will stay here again and will still recommend this hotel.

Our AC went out in our home and the inside temperature was reaching 85 degrees, so we booked a hotel. The staff was very friendly, rooms very clean, beds comfortable and breakfast was good. We will recommend this hotel to family and friends who come to the area.

First time we have stayed and Buda and sure beats staying in other parts of Austin. There was no freeway noise and you cannot beat the full breakfast that was provided and the big room with the king size bed and sofa bed for that extra person. It was super clean.

Nice, new, well decorated. Sign is kind of hard to see from the access road, but it's in with the other hotels in Buda. Staff was very friendly. Only complaint was having to deal with a GRUOP of 15 - 20 people at breakfast. They treated it like it was their personal dining area. I got some of what I wanted to eat. But, instead of hovering over the serving pans to wait for eggs and biscuits, we left. When we checked out an hour later, some of that group was still sitting at the tables.

Tried Best Western Hotels for first time. Staff was very friendly. Stay was very good. Decent free breakfast. Great value and a very nice overall experience. Will look into staying here and other Best Westerns in the future,

Awesome property and staff. Hotel is brand new with gorgeous updated decorations. Parking lot is well lit and we felt very secure. Hot breakfast had several options and tasted delightful. Be aware this property has very few rooms with bathtubs.

We came to visit family who lives in San Marcos, but couldn't find a reasonable hotel for the price in the city, so we looked in Buda which is about 20 minutes away. This is a new hotel which opened about a month ago. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Accommodations and continental breakfast were great. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

I will definitely stay here again. The location is perfect and the rooms were so clean/comfortable. It is just south of Austin and quick access to summer fun in San Marcos. This hotel is new , I really hope they keep up the quality.

Although this is a relatively new hotel, cleanliness is not top priority. I always carry/buy bleach upon entering any hotel. Pubic hair on toilet, hair in shower!! Glad that I know ahead of time. Unfortunately, hotels no longer hire people that like or know how to clean...They just take whoever applies! No standard checks. Too bad! But at least the sheets were clean and not flipped over!!

Brand new Best Western Plus in Buda, TX. It was extremely convenient location as it was 15 minutes to downtown Austin and only 30 minutes from Blue Hole Regional Park in Wimberley, TX. The staff were kind and quick to help and everything was clean and comfortable.

I was in Buda for a family wedding and stayed at this hotel to be close to Austin and Kyle's Old Texas Town, as well as the airport. The location was terrific, far enough away from downtown Austin, but close enough for a quick drive in each day. It was also a fast and easy trip to the airport from the hotel. The rooms were nicely decorated and the breakfast had a variety for anyone's taste. I was most impressed by the friendliness of the staff at the front desk. They smiled and spoke each time I came and went, and when I had a problem getting online to print boarding passes, someone quickly came to help. Starbucks and McDonald's right in front of property, and the downtown area of Buda is a short drive. Some great places to eat in Buda. I would stay here again if in the area and highly recommend the hotel for anyone wanting a nice place at a reasonable price.

WE appreciate the hotel staffs to the fullest. The 24 hour coffee in the lobby is something I appreciate. If I have to comment about the hotel, it will be the ever presence of ants in the premises (may be ubiquitous in TX).

GREAT rooms! GREAT bathrooms/showers. FRIENDLY/ ACCOMMODATING staff. GOOD price! Unlike hotels in nearby Austin, parking was free! Although I didn't take advantage of it, they also offer free breakfast. Internet use for guests is free. Work-out room is available 24/7. STAY HERE!

I did get frustrated when signing up for best western rewards program and scanner read my address on my drivers license and it could not be corrective without a couple of days off effort but I think they intend to do away with the scanner so it can be entered manually with a correct address since changes are mostly blocked at the source. The hotel door would not close unless manually pulled shut and I let them know and expect they will fix it. They had only been opened 5 days and are getting settled in but seem to have the right attitude to succeed.
