Over priced for location Chillicothe has nicer facilities and better rates. Staff is very friendly and right on point. They make sure room is okay after checkin Breakfast is offered with a good selection and is warm.

We spent overnight after a nearby wedding. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The check in and check out process was good. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Overall, the quality to the price was excellent.

We had a delightful stay at Best Western. The desk staff was very friendly, efficient and helpful. The facility seemed brand new and was very modern, clean and safe. Parking was not a problem for our large RV. But the highlight was breakfast. Although we needed to wait in line while the hostess prepared our order, she was very efficient and everything was at her fingertips. But the egg scramble and potatoes were so tasty and flavorful, as compared to the usual breakfast buffet travelers encounter. I would definitely stay here again.

Room was clean and complimentary breakfast was good. This is a small facility but worked for us as we were on our way to our destination. Adequate parking for our trailer. Conveniently next to a Walmart .

This hotel was super clean. It looked clean and it smelled clean. We arrived in the evening, hungry, and the front desk person gave us a great restaurant recommendation. The beds were comfortable. Everything about the room was lovely. In the morning, we had a fabulous "grab and go" breakfast, but it was really a "made to order and take it with you" breakfast. Eggs. Sausage and bacon (I think, but I don't eat pork). Fried potatoes. Yogurt. Fruit. Biscuits and gravy. There were probably more options, but I forgot. The lady who took care of our breakfast needs was so accomodating and so patient (and so friendly). She actually emptied most of a section of the fridge to get a particular flavor of yogurt for us. We encountered a couple of the cleaning staff during our stay, and they were friendly as well. If you're traveling through this area, stop at this Best Western. It's the BEST!

Our stay was for an overnight stop. The room was very clean and well appointed. Check-in and check-out was timely and smooth. The hotel itself was great. Only issue is there are not many good dinning options near the hotel.

Every employee we spoke to was very kind. The check in process was quick and easy. But I was most surprised by how clean everything was. Our room looked brand new. I used to inspect rooms and can't help but check all the little spots that dirt can hide. Couldn't find a speck of dirt or a stray hair anywhere! Your housekeepers do a fantastic job!

Nice, pleasant associates all across the property. Solid mattress, clean room, (poor television quality-looked like std definition connection), great breakfast even though it was 'take back to your room' due to Covid. The only problem was extreme floor creaking by someone walking across the room in the room directly above ours. We have never had floor creaking like this in all of our motel stays and my wife and I have extensive motel experiences.

The past 3 times I have stayed here there has always been issues. I never write reviews but after 3 times of this... like get real. They offer discounts just so you will spend more money. Go somewhere else..... the floor makes noises so if you are sleeping on the lower level... good luck. The towels didn't get refilled, neither did the coffee etc. the heating cooling unit didn't work well at all.... made noises all night long... the front desk lady literally lied straight to my face about the most stupid thing to lie about... it's a joke. The manager gave no help but “we can discount' no... I want to sleep, have clean towels and a nice heated or cooled room where I can actually sleep.... that's why you go to a hotel...

I came up to Brookfield from Rolla for an overnight stay. I had an early morning start for my job. The rooms are nice, pretty good size. Bathrooms are decent. Loved the channel guide since I am from a different area. The only downfall was the noise from the next room. Their tv was pretty loud. I called the front desk and asked to have someone call to have it turned down. Part of this is my fault because I mentioned the wrong room number, but I did tell the clerk it was the room right next to me. I just had to turn my tv up a little louder. The other thing that I found annoying was the curtains. I turned on the heat and closed the curtains. Instead of the heat blowing in the room, it blew up into the curtains, making the curtains wave. I had to tuck the curtains into the window sill just so the heat came into the room and not up and around the curtains.

Stayed here one night while traveling from Arkansas to home. Small little Best Western, but very nice rooms. Good sized and clean. Gentlemen at front desk in morning said they'd recently renovated. Grab bags were available for breakfast and they had a lady that served you hot breakfast to take to your room. Would definitely stay again.

The Best western in Brookfield Missouri is a very nice place to stay. The curb appeal of the building is very aesthetically appealing. Price wise it's a bit on the high side compared to other options, but it reflects in the quality.

We stayed here while planbing and attending a family member's funeral. Everyone was so helpful to us. They went over and above to help us with everything we needed (including tape, copies, spoons etc). I would highly recommend!!

Our family of 19 stayed at this hotel to make arrangements for an to attend our mother's funeral. The staff went out of their way to allow us use of the breakfast dining area so we could make food for the funeral luncheon and to hang out in and talk and play games. The hotel beds were comfortable, the rooms very clean, and no noise heard through the walls. We will definitely stay there again as the need arises to visit the Brookfield, MO area!

We stayed two nights during my father's funeral. The room was very tidy & sanitary. The bed & pillows were very good & I had a good nights sleep both nights. Larger refrigerator than most accommodations & microwave worked well. Decor was pleasing to the eye. Bathroom was very clean...I am a germ-a-phoebe & it passed with flying colors. The breakfast was really good both mornings. The staff was very friendly & helpful & the gentleman working the early AM breakfast shift was a top notch great person. ∞♥

The staff was very friendly and accommodating to my 4 year old and 4 month old. Great location near the highway but not in sight of passing headlights or highway sounds. Walking distance to Walmart. Very small hotel. Very well kept and up to date.

We approached the front desk team about the fact that there was apparently something in our room that was causing me an allergic reaction, triggering my asthma. They asked if I was allergic to animals; I told that I was to some animals; they indicated that a service animal had been in the room, but that it had been months prior. At the third day, we finally realized the problem . . . the laundry room next door was leaking into our room, and we realized this when we stepped onto wet carpet. It then became evident that this was very probably the source of my allergic reactions. We are assuming that this has been a problem in the past, because my allergic reaction was just like a reaction I would have to mold or mildew. At that point, we were moved to another room, but we were offered no concessions for being in a room that kept me sick for most of my stay or for our inconvenience in having to move. We were there for a funeral, and this added significantly to the stress.

On behalf of our entire team, I would like to apologize for not exceeding your expectations. Your satisfaction is important to us. You stayed with us Four nights. On the first morning you saw a dog in the hotel and complained about allergies. Our hotel has Four select Pet Friendly Rooms. Your room was not one of those rooms. Our General Manager offered to move you to another room. You refused to move. On the second morning our desk clerk asked at Breakfast "How are you doing today?" and you responded "I'm doing fine and everything's good." On the third morning you notified the desk clerk that the carpet was wet. Within about 15 minutes you were moved to another room. We investigated your complaint and found a one foot by three foot area of damp carpet caused by a water leak in a pipe in the wall nearby. Of course a plumber fixed the leak and the carpet was dried. Upon departure, you did not complain.

The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. For a small town, it was a nice hotel with great breakfast options. It is conveniently located near the highway and WalMart is next door. The building is clean and well-lit at night.

Stayed here do due a school trip with a few kids, the guy working that evening when checking in provided amazing service and was very kind, the rooms were VERY clean. Manager was nice as well. As for breakfast it was fair, it filled the kids up before heading on the road again. Thanks for good service!

The hotel has all your bases covered. Free Breakfast, check. Free Wi-Fi, check. Good clean rooms, check. It's nothing fancy, but I would gladly stay there again if I need to. The amenities should meet the needs of most travelers. The interior seems to have been remodeled within the last few years.

This Best Western was very clean, neat and the appearance was a plus right away. The staff was excellent in their greeting and personality. I would give this hotel and A+. We did not have any problems finding this hotel.

Wonderful place to stay. The bed was SO comfortable and the room very clean. The breakfast was delicious! Staff very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend using this hotel whenever you are in the area!!

Just stopped for the night on the way through the area. Hot air balloon festival was just starting. Hotel full. Competent, caring staff. Good housekeeping staff. Breakfast was basic but sauces and seasonings are available to personalize. Toppings and such available for yogurt, waffles too. Area clean and well stocked. Quiet location next to Walmart. Easy in and out. Excellent!

Small town not many options of places to stay, this doesnt stop the Best Western in Brookfield from rolling out the red carpet. Nice people, clean and accomodationg. Nice little breakfast and the pool was inviting.

The hotel was very clean, staff courteous and breakfast was as good as any “free” breakfast I've had at other hotels. Making the reservation for our class reunion group worked very well. The manager blocked rooms early for our group and released the unneeded rooms a few days before our event.

One of the best and cleanest motel I have stayed in. More to choose from in that area but I have stayed at this one each time. The staff is great and have done their best to make sure I have what I might need.

Booked one night traveling through based on pet friendly. Staff was very nice and the manager was accommodating after I needed to stay an extra night due to car issues. Property was very clean and maintained. Room and beds were very comfortable. Standard breakfast offerings. It is right next to walmart, but no food options near by.

One night stay. Welcoming & efficient desk staff, spotless room with all amenities, good breakfast. On the road by 10 a.m. Eight hours & 300 hundred miles later realized my Kindle was missing. Long story short.....it was left at the hotel & they will mail it to me. I didn't get the desk clerk's name but whoever answered the phone at 6 p.m. Friday May 17th, 2019 provided excellent customer service.

We have stayed in this town before at an older, less expensive hotel where the rooms were so small and beds terrible -- decided to stay at Best Western this time and you do get what you pay for. Rooms are nice size, clean, excellent bedding, had good amenities and staff was fast and nice. check in and out went smoothly. Hot breakfast had nice selection for a smaller place -- eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, rolls. Toast and cereals and fruit. juice, coffee -- all good. We will definitely stay here again. This is the place to stay in the Brookfield and Marceline area. Super clean and well kept rooms and property. Right next to Wal-Mart, and a very short drive to restaurants and gas stations. The beds are very comfortable and you will get a great nights rest.

The Brookfield Best Western exceeds the comforts of home for hundreds of miles east and west on Highway 36. Great staff, a breakfast to look forward to and comfortable and clean rooms. We stayed with two dogs and there are plenty of dog walking spaces.

I put a Do Not Disturb sign out as I didn't want maid service, but I did want fresh towels. So I asked the staff for more towels. The maid was happy to push her cart back to my room and give me what I needed. She had a smile and was so very pleasant. All of the staff were pleasant and I appreciated everyone's attitude and smiles. I talked with at least 5 different staff in my short stay and appreciated everyone so very much! It's the people interaction and the beds (which were good) which make a difference to me. Thanks for a great stay!

Outstanding as usual. Staff always friendly and accomodationg. Rooms are fresh and comfortable. Breakfast is one of the highlights. The rennonvations are really adding to the attraction of the hotel throughout! We have been staying here for years an wouldn't stay anywhere else when visiting Brookfield.

This recently renovated hotel is in a great location just off Highway 36 and near most of Brookfield's eateries and services. Terri was an exceptional host at check-in, rooms were clean, well-appointed and had everything you could need (and better still, it all worked!). Would absolutely stay here again when in town.

Great staff and very accommodating. They had breakfast ready early because of the nature of our group. (Hot air balloonist and crew) we are return guest and they staff has always been great. The halls and lobby area have been remodeled and understand the rooms are next. Looking forward to our return trip next year.

Clean, comfortable, and convenient, staffed by friendly folks, I truly enjoyed my stay at the Best Western Brookfield. The staff dealt with a refrigerator situation quickly and efficiently—two times in a row! I still smile when I tell the tale. The room were quiet, the HVAC easily adjusted, clean, the Wi-Fi fast, and easy access and the breakfast way better than expected. The only reason it doesn't get an excellent is that it is pricey. Even with a BW card it still was twenty dollars overpriced.

My husband and I do a lot of traveling and this hotel was by far one of the best. This hotel was very quiet so it was perfect if you needed to get some sleep, the pool was very clean, the beds/pillows were very comfortable, the continental breakfast was nothing short of amazing, the staff was super friendly, checking in & out was easy, and there is also a microwave and refridgerator (which many hotels do not provide both). We would definitely stay here again if we traveled in this direction! oh! And they also allow dogs!

The hotel is located right off the highway for easy access and right next to a Wal-Mart. If you are traveling with a group or family you may not find seating in the breakfast area. The breakfast is pretty good so don't sleep in and miss it. The towels and linen are always clean. They currently do not have HD TV but that may be changing since they're remodeling. Definitely the best option for this area.

This hotel was so clean we thought it was new. Amazing. They went from a smoking facility to a non smoking and we couldn't tell it had ever been smoking . It smelled good. Wonderful breakfast. Super nice people. The building is 14 years old and we didnt even know it.

My friend and I stayed here on our way to and from Missouri Star Quilt Co. Room was clean. Always coffee available. Good breakfast. Good rate. Friendly staff. WalMart is nearby, an easy walk from the hotel for extra snacks or necessary items.

Great rest place for travelers! Literally/conveniently right next to Wal Mart, and close to fuel stations. They had a town map with places to eat makes on it!! A+ staff, would recommend and stay again.

After another nightmare stay at my first Best Western in 18 months, it will be the LAST one for another 18 months unless I am desperate enough. If you arrive late at night, they would rather you don't stay at all because the cleaning help the next day finds it too inconvenient to have to work later. They seem to forget the guests PAY for the hotel to EXIST and that the Hotel is not there for their work convenience.

This is a wonderful BW in a small town. They go out of their way to make you welcome and take care of any needs you may have. This is the ONLY hotel/motel to stay in here. There are others but BW is the BEST.

We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Wonderful Service. Breakfast was great. Office staff so very helpful; especially Carrie as well as the other staff. Cauleen (probably do not have her name right, but the lady who cleaned our room) was so very nice, efficient and sympathetic). Thank you all for making this part of our trip so great.

The hotel is near of the Walmart of the town, and also you can go to marceline in a few minutes, rooms clean quiet, the staff is wonderful and breakfast is very well the area is small but the options is better than another's "big chains", so high absolutely recommend

Very Clean .Excellent service. Total hotel is non-smoking. Excellent breakfast,,,many more choices than most motels offer. Nicest motel we have visited. Quiet. Good nights sleep. Lobby very welcoming. Outside extremely clean.

Always very clean and comfortable. I always stay here when in town. Location is good with Walmart close if you need anything. Good parking available if you have a large vehicle or trailer. The staff is always helpful.

Traveling on business stopped for a night here and was very pleasantly surprised. Exceptionally clean, very accommodating and a nice restful sleep. Bed was comfortable, staff help with locating the local restaurants, very friendly! I would stay here again.

I've been staying at this Best Western for over 20 years when visiting Brookfield, often for hunting. It understands our special requests. I'm always treated like family. Rooms clean, breakfast excellent. Only thing to make it perfect is an automatic or handicapped front door entrance,and pillowtop mattresses. Manager Melissa has a wonderful care and truly seems to care for her guests.

We love going here every year. The whole staff from the manger Melissa Kearns to the cleaning staff Colean are great. We can't wait to get here. They are all very accommodating the room is always clean and we never have to ask for anything. The beds for me are very comfortable the water for showers is nice and hot and the morning breakfast has a nice variety of items. If you need anything they will do there best to make it happen. Would recommend to anyone looking for a room.

The hotel was convenient to the highway. We were visiting Walt Disney's Hometown Museum and other Disney sites in Marceline, MO. This hotel was about 15 minutes away. The area had several decent restaurants. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our visit.

I was here for several nights on a business trip. This is a fairly new motel, very nice staff, and comfortable. Room had a small fridge and microwave, always a plus. Desk and bedside had plenty of electrical plugs. Bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. TV had a wide variety of channels, but none seemed to be HD - not good. Bathroom was fine, except it needs more grab bars at the edge of the tub for stabilizing as you get out. Breakfast was pretty mediocre, little variety, and muffins were stale. A friend was late arriving with a room confirmation, and they had no room for him. Not good service, and there aren't other options near by. I would rank the visit as fine, but needing improvement.

Love this place! We been staying here 10 years. All the staff here treats you like family. We called 45 miles away and was staying 3 nights. They moved other rooms around to accommodate us where we didn't have to change rooms. Melissa and Terri always go above and beyond for me and my family when we are in for hunting. The breakfast is always good and during rifle deer season they always have it ready at 4 am. The rooms are always clean and the bathroom is always well maintained.

A newly built hotel. Very clean and fresh. Desk staff was extra friendly and helpful in giving us info on local food options and pizza delivery, I haven't stayed at any Best Westerns for a number of years and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this location.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Very nice staff only drawback was the little breakfast room. Overall very nice place and centrally located. Staff directed us to a great place to eat in town. Very quiet and I over slept which didn't please my husband. LOL

Stopped and stayed at this hotel on our way home from a long trip. Terri at the front desk was very helpful! She was able to provide us with accurate and precise local information that helped us find exactly what we were looking for. The rooms were clean, quiet and very nice. Loved that the air conditioning was set low so the rooms were cool when we got there. (Nothing worse than driving all day in the hot sun and walking into a hot hotel room!) Rooms were a good size, and came with a refrigerator and microwave. Beds were comfortable. I was surprised to hear that they have plans to renovate the interior, because it was already way nicer than a couple of the other hotels we stayed at on our trip. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of foods -- pancakes, bacon, eggs, biscuits & gravy, yogurt, cereal, bread assortment, juices, cappuccino machine (!!!), milk, etc..... Pool looked refreshing, but we were short on time and didn't get a chance to use it. Hotel is easy to get to off the highway and is right beside a Walmart (which can come in handy). We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area. (And thanks again, Terri, for all your help!!!!)

We were on our way home from Colorado. We stayed in Brookfield, MO because we wanted to look for some grave sites of our relatives. The only thing we had were their names. The hotel host was so helpful. She provided us with the name of the cemetery and told us about "Find A Grave" on the web and gave us the name of the county we were in. In less than 5 min. we found who we were looking for, a relative we didn't know was buried there, and a photo of the grave stones. All the employees were friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there again when we are in the area. Their breakfast was the best of any Best Western we have stayed at. Thanks, BW Brookfield.

We stayed here while we visited Marceline. The staff was great, the rooms pleasant, the pool refreshing and the small size a welcome from the bigger hotels were are used to. I would recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to this area. A relaxing first night for us. We even shopped at the Walmart next door!

It was a little pricey for the room but it was very clean. The bed and pillows could have been more comfortable but I got a good night's sleep. It was unfortunate that the Walmart next door decided to sweep their parking lot at 10;30 at night when we were trying to fall asleep.

This was the second time that we'd stayed in this hotel. The first time, only a smoking room was available. The staff recommended a good restaurant and cleaned the room's air while we were gone. I had left my purse in the breakfast area, and an employee found and put it behind the desk for me. This time, the overall appearance and quality our room were again excellent, as was the quality of grooming products provided. The staff were kind and helpful. We had planned our trip to "land" here again.

Better than average hotel off Hwy 11 on way to KC. Several restaurants nearby, WalMart behind hotel. Quiet room, large and comfortable with refrigerator and free Wi-Fi. Better than average hot breakfast, Outdoor pool and free nearby YMCA pass.

We often travel to this location to visit family and there are few hotels in the immediate vicinity. We now also have a very small dog that travels with us everywhere so good hotels that accept pets are hard to come by. This Best Western accepts pets(within reasonable limits) has great customer service, very comfortable beds and an awesome breakfast. We will definitely stay again.

We decided to stay away from the interstates in Missouri and traveled across the state on route 36. This was a clean and comfy hotel along this route. Room was large but laid out in an odd way. Had to close the bathroom door to get to the closet. Not a big deal. Front desk also helped me apply for rewards from BW that I hadn't registered for on my rewards account. Walking distance to Walmart across a short plot of grass. Breakfast area getting remodeled but hotel was not busy so there was plenty of room for breakfast. Breakfast was normal hot and cold items.

Melissa and her staff returned an item left in the room to me and overall were extremely accommodating. They are professional and extend beyond what is expected to make your stay a pleasant one. When the ice machine was jammed, they cleared it promptly. If something on the breakfast service was missing or needed, they responded quickly. Overall a very pleasant experience and will return there in the future.

The Best Western in Brookfield Missouri is the best place to stay in town it is the cleanest place to stay in Brookfield, It is also smoke free, serves a wonderful breakfast, everyone you come in contact with is very professional. Whenever I'm in Brookfield Missouri this is where I will be staying

Friendly staff, it is a small hotel but very nice. Room was nice and very comfortable. Breakfast was good. It is quiet even though there is a Walmart parking lot right behind it. Should we ever go that way again I would choose this hotel.

We were on a road trip and just needed a clean, quiet, comfortable hotel along our route. And that's what we got at the Brookfield Best Western. Initial room we were assigned reeked of smoke (who knew there were any hotels left that allowed smoking?), so the front desk was generous and upgraded us to a jacuzzi king for our inconvenience. Nice. Thank you. This was a quiet property. Our bed was comfortable and we got a good night's sleep. Kudos to the management here..... the nightlight in the bathroom is a nice touch. Breakfast was as good as you get in larger hotels in larger cities. We'd stay here again if we were in the area.

Great history but Hotel little dated you see the commercials upgrading this one was OK but still needed work pool was not working. offered a YMCA to use. the Walmart was next store that was ok. The suite was a standard room one TV and just a couch that made it a suite??!!!

Clean, well managed, worth the extra money (especially if you want to be in this area). You are limited for options in this area, but this is by far the best place to stay. There's really only this place and a couple of B&B's, and the B&B's are definitely out of the way. While you are in the area visit Marceline - home of Walt Disney. Only 7 miles away.

My family stayed there so we could attend a family member's funeral. The staff were all very kind and helpful. The housekeeping staff were extremely friendly. The hotel was very clean and nice. Our only complaint was that the beds were a bit hard.

Reasonably priced, and well worth it. Fairly large room was clean and quiet. Wi-fi worked reasonably well. Breakfast was above average. I will definitely be returning when traveling back through this area. Highly recommend!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I have back issues and the bed was one of the best. The pillows are also a big perk. The room was clean and temperature was comfortable. The breakfast offered fresh and hot items. I would recommend staying there.

The Brookfield, Missouri, Best Western is an oasis on the road across the Midwest, especially if you are traveling with pets. Great staff, clean rooms, well-maintained grounds and friendly staff make Best Western a joy to visit. The real gem is the perfect grounds of walking and exercising dogs. There are large open areas to walk and throw ball. It was a perfect stay because of the great treatment.

We always book the opening weekend of the Missouri deer season. The stay is always the best part of the trip. The hotel is located next to a Wal-Mart store and close to numerous eating establishments and refueling stops.

The hotel is fine for Best Western, but it still allows smoking in some rooms. I stayed in what was supposed to be a non-smoking room, but I could smell the smoke coming in from other guests rooms. There is no true way to have non-smoking rooms if your going to allow guests to smoke indoors.

We had to sign a form not to smoke in room yet the hallway was heavy with smoke. Milk at breakfast sat on a counter in a glass pitcher - not on ice or any refrigeration. The room was comfortable and the night staff very friendly.

Very nice place to stay. I was even able to plug in my Electric Car. They also recommended a very next restaurant to go to. The Brick House if I remember correctly. When traveling off major interstate highways it sometimes difficult to find out of the way places like this one. Would recommend this one for sure. Right next to Walmart which was handy since I needed to pick up a few things.

We have been staying here for 10 years. The 2 older ladies are the nicest I ever met but manager is very rude. The hotel is always clean just hate they have smoking rooms cause you can smell it all over. Breakfast is always good and ready for the hunters at 4 am. Wal-Mart sits right behind hotel so very easy to just walk over.

outer appearance looks good interior not bad but not real good the staff is friendly and helpful the room was clean and tidy but the hallways had a pet smell to them the "hot breakfast" was ok for what little they offered

This is one of my favorite Best Western Hotels. It rates right up there with the Best Western Plus properties. Very clean and comfortable, excellent condition and the staff is extremely polite and helpful. The hotel has easy accessibility .

On Business. Clean, right off US Highway Breakfast was average. Coffee machine was excellent and I could get flavored coffee. Nice outdoor pool which was still warm Courteous staff and easy parking near door

The suite was very clean and the sheets and pillows were very fresh with no stains like other places. The room had a fresh smell which most have a mushy smell but this one didn't. The hotel does allow smoking which you can tell in the main halls but in the non smoking room you cant tell it because the smoke does not come into the room.

Brookfield is an extremely small town, but the quality of this hotel was by far greater than that of a small town value. The rooms were clean; very comfortable. I stayed in the King suite. I am a writer, and I needed to get away to collect my thoughts and put some words to a page. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Even the cleaning crew was great! The room did get humid, but it didn't bother me.

We arrived around 11:30 pm. The girl at the desk was amazing! She even upgraded us to a jacuzzi suite at no extra charge. King bed was amazing, as was the big wall mounted, on an arm flat screen. However, when we had gotten to the room it was about 80 degrees in it. The air conditioning was one of the old units on the wall. After about 10 minutes of trying to get the air to cool off, we called the front desk and she offered to move us to another room. It was late, already unpacked so we said we would stay in the room. I felt we should have been compensated in some way monetarily as it ended up costing around $110.00, but we weren't. We had brought a fan and finally at around 3am it had cooled to about 73-74 degrees. We were working till 3am and about 2:30 am a guy from front desk called and told my husband he received a noise complaint! Lol all we were doing was talking... So there you go! Best hotel in this small town. No competition!

This dog friendly hotel is small and very comfortable! Our room was spacious with a king bed, couch, mini refrigerator and microwave. The bed was super comfy and our room was quiet. (It is close to the highway, but we didn't hear any traffic noise.) They offer a nice breakfast (waffles, pastries, sausage, omelet, juices, oatmeal, yogurt, etc.) and even have gluten-free and dairy-free items upon request. The staff were all pleasant to work with! We will definitely stay again!

The hotel is well rated for cleanliness and friendly staff, which I would agree with. The furnishings are fifteen years old though well kept. My only issue was have a room that was very "damp" and an off smell probably from the dampness. It has been humid so it might be part of the issues though changing the heater/AC filter would be beneficial. Probably fine most of the time though a bit put off with a damp room. It was 10:00 P.M. so I did not request a different room.

I am torn as to how to review this Best Western. The rooms are incredibly clean. The cleanest I have stayed in. The problem is the beds were terrible. The sheets were very inviting, the pillows top notch, but the mattresses? I felt like I was laying on a feed sack filled with straw. The mattress even made a crunchy noise when you sat on it. Both queen beds in the room were the same. Perhaps it's time for a mattress overhaul.

Best Hotel in the area and is the cleanest around and offers a great value for the price, Good Breakfast, nice smaller pool, easy on and off the highway, and is just the meat and potato of any hotel you would want from.

I enjoyed my recent stay at this hotel. My room was very clean and comfortable. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. I would stay here again and I would recommend it to a friend. It's conveniently located right off of the exit. The hot breakfast isn't that appetizing but they offer fruit and other breakfast options that are fine.

Our stay was pleasant and the breakfast was better than most. We arrived late in the day and were warmly greeted by the desk clerk. The only downside was the only ice machine was not working. The front desk clerk had ice when requested.

I stayed here on my trip cross country and I found it very clean and conveniently right off the freeway. The staff was very nice and the accommodations were exactly what I was hoping for in rural America. Overall was extremely pleased I decided to book my hotel here. If I am ever passing through again I will definitely make sure to stay here.

I have stayed a few times at this hotel and it is always good. Friendly courtious staff. If there is a problem they relate to iit quickly. Quiet area and only two minutes from the main road or shopping at Walmarts.

I stay in Comfort Inn when I have overnight visits several times per year in the midwest. I find them consistently clean, and they have helpful staff. I avoid staying in a number of hotels, especially in Sedalia, where I have had unpleasant experiences, bugs, etc. The only complaint this trip was that the breakfast wasn't great. But it was free, so I made due.

This is a tiny town off a 4 lane highway. The hotel location is convenient, facility is clean and has an elevator, free wifi and breakfast. The breakfast is nothing great but does offer some hot items in addition to yogurts, cereal, pastries and fruit. There are at least 2 local restaurants within a mile, one that I got carry-out food for the evening. Even though its next to a Walmart and the highway, I didn't hear any night noise.

Staff are professional and friendly, location is clean and well cared for and you can upgrade to a king jacuzzi suite for an additional $20. Well worth the money in my opinion. There is a local steak house that is pricey but a wonderful diversion from fast food.

What a very nice room! So clean. Took the time to meet the maids and thank and TIP them for doing such a good job and I wanted also to name them, Colleen and Pauline. I met Smokey, maintenance, and the general manager Renelda who gets right in there with her staff and helps when they're short handed cleaning rooms and tending to whatever needs to be done. I was truly impressed. I learned that they got very high points last inspection, in fact second in their region. They are pet friendly, have rooms for handicapped and there's a hot tub in one of those rooms at least..! Here are some pictures of some of the amenities. There were plenty of pillows and blankets in the room already and I appreciate the shower curtain rod that is curved out for more room. Again, emphasis on cleanliness and excellence of staff.

If you need to stay on the area, this hotel will be just fine. It is small, plenty of parking, and quiet. you will need to drive to go eat somewhere, as it is on the opposite side of the main highway from all the dining establishments.

I had a very pleasant stay at this Best Western property. Coleen (pronounced Kho-leen) at the desk was wonderful. She was genuine, compassionate, efficient, and helpful. The location to I-36 was great. There was also a Walmart close by. The cleanliness of the room was great except for the carpet. It appeared kind of grimy. The room had a slight "old man" smell which I'm guessing was from the carpet. It was not enough for me to ask to switch rooms. My room had good water pressure ... plenty of hot water. The lighting was good ... the bed/pillows were comfortable. Plenty of towels. Wireless internet worked fine. The heat-a/c system worked well. The bathroom had a very nice tub/shower enclosure. I would definitely stay here again! : -)

Travelled to north Missouri for a reunion and found this hotel in Brookfield. Right next to US 36, so easy to find. Quick friendly check-in. Spotlessly clean. Nice big room (we had a king room, so only one bed). Clean bathroom with high quality shampoo, etc. In room wifi worked great (at no extra charge). Plenty of TV channels and a good remote. Excellent bed (firm) and pillows. Continental breakfast included (although we slept through it since the bed was so good). No restaurants within walking distance, although there are several spots on the other side of the US 36 exit within a few minutes drive.

We stopped in Brookfield at the Best Western Hotel as we were driving from Chicago to Kansas City. The hotel was a really pleasant surprise considering it was located in such a small town. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the price was very reasonable. The staff were friendly and helpful. A free breakfast was also included. I would recommend this hotel to everyone traveling route 36 across Missouri.

I was headed to Kansas City and it was late and raining so I wanted off the road. I was able to get a great room at the Best Western in Brookfield just off US 36. It was clean, quiet and staff was very friendly and helpful. They provided a good recommendation for dinner at Café 36. The breakfast in the morning was well stocked and kept warm. The price, the service and cleanliness sure beat the expensive hotel I had in Overland Park the next night!

Great time. From the time you arrive the staff is as pleasent as you will find. From check-in being easy to the room they have the best showers i have ever seen. Great water pressure and unlimited hot water. The beds are very comfertable. the rooms are kept clean and the bathroom is well stocked with towels and needed supplies.Breakfast has more choices then you would think. A great time. We will be returning again!!

This is the cleaness, most comfortable hotel we have found for awhile. It is small and quiet. The price is pretty good. We stay here often as we travel to KS to visit our daughter and her family. Highly recommend this but do call ahead. They are sometimes booked.

We decided to take Highway 36 - a road less traveled - on our drive from Indiana to Denver. We had no planned stops and no pre-booked reservations, so it was the luck of the draw. And we got lucky with the BW Brookfield. Three nights at the BW Naperville had set the bar pretty high, but BW Brookfield came close. I have no complaints about the room, staff, cleanliness, comfort. Staff recommended Diner 36 for dinner and it was a good choice.

We spent the night here during our road trip along U.S. Hwy. 36. It appears to be a newer facility. The rooms were clean and in great shape. It is located right next to a super Walmart that allowed us to walk to and acquire some small items we had forgotten to pack. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a good selection of breakfast items to choose from. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We stopped overnight here on a cross country trip. The entire facility was very clean, the room was large, and the bed was very comfortable. The employees were friendly although we were up for the free breakfast at 6AM and it wasn't ready. The breakfast isn't much but overall the hotel is an excellent value.

We were very happy with the cleanliness of the room. We did not hear anyone in neighboring rooms either. Easy on and off the freeway. Definitely would stay again. We upgraded our room upon check-in which was a nice option. We checked out early and needed our car battery jumped. The gentleman working the desk was able to help us! Very thankful

I like this hotel. easy access, clean rooms, I can sleep a good nights sleep here. only complait is no oj machine for breakfeast. nice pool, gas fired grill avalible for those who like to cook out. A hotel washer and dryer for guest would be nice to have (this is my only complaint) for those of us who work traveling on the road. decent desk for your laptop, a computer chair would help but the chair u have will work, otherwise its a nice place to stay. the staff always remembers me when I come back.
