"Nice and quiet"

Even though it is right by the airport this hotel is very quiet. I enjoyed my stay here. Staff were exceptional at check in and very helpful. The hotel was close enough to all the places I needed to go to on the trip.

Overall team at this property excels at customer service. Definitely felt like home away from home. Room exceptionally clean and each staff person from front desk through housekeeping seemed to know they are a valued part of the overall effort towards excellence. Well done everyone! The hotel staff makes you feel comfortable in your surroundings, offers help when it is needed and makes sure to do all they can to enhance your stay. The hotel is conveniently located next to the airport and is close to several amenities.

Everything was ok. Only complaints was using the remote as it seemed to be difficult in using and suspect that it was with SHAW. Elevator was a little bumpy. Staff was very friendly. If possible would like to know where your company purchases double shower curtains as I would like to obtain one and have not been able to locate them.

I have been a client since day one. This hotel has the friendliest staff. Dalton's restaurant has excellent meals and service. This hotel is very conveniently located and any concerns are quickly addressed. This is truly my home away from home!

Checking out after seven nights. The BW online gave me a rare of 120.00 veterans rate for last night. I'm charged 136.00. Also no breakfast at this BW. Shouldn't have PLUS after it. Worst one yet. Sad.

Great property and staff check in was effortless. One issue to pass along is I never checked the clock radio and for some reason it went off at 3:30 AM ruining the night sleep. I have traveled enough to know to check the alarm setting but forgot. It would be nice if the cleaning staff would be aware as they clean rooms and turn it off. I ate at the on site Dalton's dining room and had a great meal. Decent choice and great server.

This hotel was awesome, the staff and shuttle drivers were excellent. I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel was clean and the rooms were excellent and the beds were very comfortable. We had to leave for the airport early and the staff were accommodating and we did not have to wait for the shuttle driver.

When we first arrived, we were told we had received an upgrade to a suite. We had used point redemption to obtain the room, and we were very pleasantly surprised at this.event. Then we went to the restaurant, received excellent service, and then we were told the hotel was giving us a free dessert in honour of our 45th anniversary. THANK YOU.

Great experience. I would highly recommend this property. It is certainly my choice in Winnipeg.The staff (especially front desk check-in staff person Kaeir) were very helpful and pleasant. Again, this is certainly my choice for any overnights in the city.

Excellent service and very friendly staff, room was very spacious, clean and quiet. Bright and very clean bathroom, always nice to see staff ensuring room is spotless. Will be staying here again next trip to Winnipeg and would highly recommend. Buffet breakfast at Dalton's is an excellent deal.

"Good value but can be noisy next to busy road"

We had a great time at Best Western. Staff were very friendly. Be careful to get a room away from the busy road on one side of the building. We changed rooms due to this. Staff were very accomodating.

Had to make a quick family matter trip to winnipeg and needed a room close to the airport. This one seemed to fit the bill. Stayed here on points and still got upgraded to a suite on the top floor. While this hotel has been around a few years, it's well kept, clean and comfortable. Front desk gent was friendly and efficient. It's in a busy part of the city and there's a bit of traffic noise on the avenue , but it tails off as the evening gets late. All in all , I would be hard pressed to find any serious faults at this hotel. And would stay again. Reasonably priced as well.

The hotel was ideally located close to the airport as well as roads to get to the east end of the city. We stayed six nights in the same room.our room was well maintained the whole time. Good wifi and TV channels. Nice bathroom. The fridge came in very handy. Would stay there again anytime.

We only stayed here because there were no other rooms available near the airport for this night. I wouldn't stay here again. It is old, outdated and stinky. The bed was comfortable enough, all we needed to do was sleep for part of the night until we left for the airport anyway.

Room spotless/wi-fi works/ TV works/eveything provided/ shuttles on time and helpful/ free breakfast/ called after being in my room to make sure all was okay/ sink in to comfy beds/soaker tub/ staff on desk gracious and friendly/ all staff friendly/ food delicious/ friendly space. Extremely friendly Staff at the front desk. Very tastefully decorated room and very clean. The food was very good. While I didn't eat in the restaurant all my meals were in the Elm room where I was in workshops, the food was brought in and was great.

I did not even leave the hotel! Great service, great food, great bedding. I was very happy with the room service, even though it was a little pricey, it was reasonable. Everyone that I spoke to was very pleasant, and when I needed an early check-in it was no problem at all. Thank you Best Western!

When my husband booked a room here I thought Best Westerns were simple and didn't have much to offer. That was from years ago but after staying here, I was surprised at how nice it was. The lobby area was inviting and set up conveniently. Check in was fast and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was big and decorated nicely. The shampoo and conditioner were very good! No problem connecting to wifi but it did get a bit slow after awhile. Our check out was fast.

After returning from our vacation after two weeks, I discovered my side window was broken and had been taped up.All our winter clothing Parka,s Winter boMan5ots ,gloves were gone!It was 30 below and I wanted to get home as my wife's mother was seriously I'll Kimberly,manager,of the best western convinced us to stay and gave us a free room .The staff was wonderful helping us fill out police report and finding us some winter jackets for our five hour drive home .I should not have left anything in our vehicle!Other hotels in the area also had this happen.Many thanks to Kimberly and staff for helping to keep us safe! Great hotel

Helpful staff... very accommodating anytime I required or asked something. 1 of the 2 elevators was working. Noise on the hallway was noticeable one night but I did not call to complain so... I can not fault the hotel.

If you're looking for convenience this hotel is only a few blocks from the airport. Rooms are clean and beds the front desk staff are very accommodating and want the best for your stay. Shuttle service is provided for free by the hotel and will get you to the airport in less than 10 minutes.

Stayed here overnight for an early morning flight. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was large with a separate bedroom, 2 tvs, clean, comfy bed. Airport shuttle was great. Don't eat at Daltons. Go out somewhere else or order in.

Ladies at Front desk staff were not overly friendly or helpful, especially on the phone. Buffet Breakfast wasn't great...it was decent but not a lot of options. Asked for a late check out on a Wednesday and they could "only" do half an hour.

We had the opportunity to stay at the best western airport over the holidays for a family wedding. The wedding was excellent, well organized, the food was great, staff was friendly and the rooms were great. The only thing that could have been better was a little warmer weather, but we were in Winnipeg in Winter. Great Hotel Great Stay!

My wife and I stay in a lot of hotels, generally for work, and occasionally for leisure. The service we recieved at this property was very disappointing. The front desk staff, being the first that we see as we proceed to check in, were unwelcoming and not at all accommodating. We've never had anything bad to say about our experiences with Best Western in the past. Although we will not be returning to this location, we do plan on staying at other BW locations in the future.

The staff are excellent and friendly. The room with a single queen bed was spacious and provided options for sitting and relaxing. The heater in the room was very noisy and kicked in at least once an hour waking both of us. The bed was worn and dipped to the middle. If you need to plug your car in make sure the plug ins are working. The one we used wasn't. Not good at -35degrees.

The Airport Best Western is my favourite place to stay in Winnipeg. The place is clean and friendly. The only downside I would have to say is the shaky elevators. It's been a while and they still do the shaking thing.

I booked this room without reading the reviews, and almost cancelled when I read some of the numerous negative ones. So it is only fair to say that MY stay was very good. This is not a glitzy glamorous hotel, but this is Winnipeg and near the airport. Everything worked, the room was clean and quiet, and the staff were courteous and helpful and there is a restaurant in the building.

I just got back from staying at the Best Western Airport in Winnipeg. My stay was covered by POINTS I had accumulated from staying there so much! And I still have another FREE night to use more of my POINTS! I've been staying at the Best Western Airport in Winnipeg for about five years. Always the hotel is clean - even the atmosphere is clean and friendly! One Sunday morning (last year), checking out I heard beautiful live music, and it was a Church Service in the hotel! The food at the restaurant is delicious. My only negative is that $30 for a meal seems a bit pricey - even with room service! I would order more if the prices were more reasonable. But, if you get the $10 voucher for Breakfast it is well worth it! Again, the food is great and the buffet for breakfast was really diversified. Location is great too! You can walk to a view large stores in about 15 minutes or less, or take a taxi to Polo Park for about $7 to $10. Keep in mind there is a quiet and not so quiet side to the hotel - but the front desk will do all they can to accommodate you! Overall a great hotel and great staff!

We chose the Dalton for lunch because their menu says the Club Sandwich has fres roasted turkey, bacon, tomato and lettuce on a toasted Sourdough bread. What we got was turkey slice (rubbery), toupee ham roll, lettuce, tomatoe, bacon and cheese on toasted white sliced bread. So disappointed as it tasted like a regular sandwich you make at home and it wouldn't cost $13 each. But the service was very good.

Spent 2 day at this hotel and enjoyed the accommodations. The rooms are updated, clean and spacious enough to get comfortable. Meals were delicious, service was great. During the business meeting it would have been beneficial to have water & glasses at each table. I really missed that.

Staff on checkin are great. Dalton's staff are wonderful& friendly. Menu has decent choices. Buffett is excellent. Rooms are kept clean and comfortable. Some rooms need a little paint or freshnup toches. Halls are clean and tidy. Place is quiet at night.?.

We booked into this hotel as we had an early morning flight and the hotel offered a shuttle. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant, Dalton's and the service and the food was good. Our room was very spacious, seemed larger than a normal hotel room, and was very well furnished and in a quiet location. We would definitely stay in this hotel again.

My spouse and I stayed here for an overnight stay while going to see Cirque de Soleil. At first I must add I was hesitant because my experience with hotels around the airport are over rated. However, as soon as we arrived we were helped right away despite (literally) 20 people checking in in the lobby for a wedding. Everyone was smiling and didn't seem stressed although they clearly were busy. The room was good and beds were comfy! Downstairs in the restaurant and bar we stopped for a quick drink before heading for the performance. The bartender was quick and got us what we wanted. After we returned from the performance the restaurant was still open, so we had a bite to eat. We ordered a pizza and it was exactly what we needed. Really good pizza! Try it out if you have time! I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we had to. :)

The hotel I originally booked cancelled my room without notice, so I had to spend 2 hours looking for another room as everywhere in Winnipeg seemed to book. Thank goodness for Hotels.ca for having a room available, because I wasn't able to under Best Western membership. Staff were friendly tho and understanding, quick to let me check in. Only issue was the floor by the washroom was wet, possible leak, but not a big issue as I just needed to get rest

Great service and hospitality. Really enjoyed my stay, the bed was a bit hard, hurt my back when i wioke up, but other that it was quite comfrotable. I would reccomend this hotel for future trips. I am very with the service.

Very nice hotel. Staff are super friendly and very helpful. Even the cleaning staff were nice. Really reasonable price for rooms. It's close to Polo Park, Costco and Wholesale Sports. Will stay there again when we are in Winnipeg.

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Plus. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The room was quiet and clean and the bed very comfortable. We were there for a wedding and the food was delicious, as was the brunch served the next morning. We highly recommend this hotel and considered it a very reasonable price as well.

The hotel staff were personable and helpful. They made sure that our shuttles, to and from the airport, went off without a hitch. This is reassuring when dealing with flights and fatigue. The room was clean, comfortable and up to BW standards of their Plus hotel ranking. When I booked and asked for a quiet room, they put us on a floor away from a wedding family, which I appreciated. Only disappointing thing was that brekkie was an extra charge. In the other BW Plus hotels we have stayed at, the breakfast has always been included. Still, the food was tasty, especially the French toast and scrambled eggs. Really close to the airport and easy to get to off the Perimeter Hwy around Winnipeg. We will go back.

This hotel could use some tender loving care but offers a very useful shuttle to and from the Winnipeg airport. Front desk attendant appeared a bit disheveled (perhaps to better blend in with the physical demeanor of this location), however, was amicable and welcoming.

We spent the night here after my son's wedding. It was a nice clean room and bed was so comfortable. There's a restaurant and a bar as well. Food was good at the bar and the guys got to watch their favorite sports on big screen tvs.

Couldn't do any better for the value! Everything was great, except the room keys didn't work... and they insisted the tv be on hockey in the lounge. I would definitely stay here again, and check out the brunch at Dalton's.

Nice hotel less than 5 minutes from the airport. Airport shuttles offered (can't recall if it is hourly or on the half-hour). Guest rooms and bathroom modern with a nice layout. Good restaurant located within hotel with limited menu. Only complaint is horrible cable TV service. Slow channel changes and poor mix of channels. Otherwise, a great stay.

Room was just fine for 2 weary travels that drove from Winnepeg to Thompson then sasketewan not spelled right, back to winnepeg Price was ok and the food was very good. There was not a lot of street noise in our room and that was really a blessing.

We often stay at this hotel when travelling out by air as it is so conveniently close to the airport and easy to get to. Also close to excellent shopping and dining. If you don't feel like venturing out they have a good restaurant in house as well. We enjoy the service and benefits of being BW Platinum members as we get excellent upgrades whenever possible to suites at discounted prices.

Had a good friends wedding there so we stayed a couple nights, the set up was good same with the food only issue was with cleaning staff waking everyone up 8am vacuuming even after most the floor told them to stop and had the do not disturb signs on.

Enjoyed staying at the Best Western Plus Hotel Airport very much. My room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed. The business work space and ability to connect was very good. I appreciated the fridge and coffee maker in the room and all was clean and fresh. Loved that the windoqw opened for fresh air. The staff are courteous, friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay here again as well as recommend to others.

As a return visitor to this hotel...I was once again very pleased with the quality of our stay. I appreciate that the temp. control works fast and efficiently...we like a warm room. Also, the linens are so fresh and the beds are comfy. The staff are efficient, accommodating, hard working; always friendly and polite. If there is a problem with anything, there are credits offered as compensation.

it's a typical BW hotel. I don't think you'll find any nasty surprises. The only negatives I can think of are that breakfast isn't included with the room rate and the snacks are a huge ripoff. On the plus side, the pool is nice.

We had a late check in the staff was very quick in checking us in and made sure we were going to be comfortable in our room. The lobby and entrance was very clean and well kept. Our room was very comfortable and large as far as a standard room goes. The room was very clean and well fixture, including a small fridge and a Keurig and a large upholstered chair and ottoman. we would stay here again, we were very comfortable and well taken care of.

Terrible place from the rude front staff to drunken patron all night long for 4 nights. The type of patrons that stay there are not very controlled and a bad indication of the constant drunks in the elevators and elevators that never seemed to work, also being woken up at 2 am from parties outside the front door not impressed.

The hotel is close to the airport but well located to get from its "site" to the "sights". The rooms were nice and one of them had reading lights both sides of the bed. (We had 2 stays in this hotel). We did not notice in the small print that the breakfast is extra.

It was as expected, clean and friendly, and nice to have dinner available late. As when travelling sometimes the clock runs faster than you do, so a late warm dinner was welcomed and done perfectly, with a nice selection of vegetables as well.

When you need a place to overnight at the airport, this is a convenient place close also to the Park 'n Fly or you can park at the hotel for $10 a night. This is very handy when you come in from out of town.

Stay at the Best Western Plus - Winnipeg Airport and enjoy a complimentary helping of the "I don't care attitude". When I attempted to use the business center computers to print off a boarding pass, I was told the printer did not work. What???? How hard would it be to send someone to Staples to get a new toner? If the printer is genuinely broken, how hard would it be to go to Staples and buy a new printer for $89 ?? When I see this sort of "don't care" attitude, it is usually a sign of greater problems that are lurking beneath the surface. After this printer issue, I went to the dining area for breakfast only to be asked for a coupon before I could enjoy the buffet. When I asked the server what coupon she was referring to, she pointed out that I should have received one at the time of check-in. Again, another example of the decaying attention to detail. When I checked out, the front desk lady did not bother to ask me how my stay was. She could probably read the bemused expression on my face that indicated my stay was less than pleasant.

The Best Western front desk staff did a great job on check-in and check-out. Very friendly and they smiled the whole time, which is not something you see a lot of with customer service people. The room was a free upgrade and so comfortable and quiet. Didn't get to sleep till very late, and hated leaving that comfortably huge bed.

I got in at 230am and had to hit the road a 730am, so my stay was very short. I found parking was very good, the check in and check out very quick. I found the room very comfortable, I just wish I had more time to enjoy it.

The pool was nicely chlorinated. Children and a baby was able to swim comfortably. The pool was only up to 1.43 meters. The water in the whirlpool was cold because it was changed recently. there was a phone in the pool area in case of emergency.

I visited the Best Western due to a last-minute change of plans. Fortunately, they had had a late cancellation and were able to give me a room. My night there was excellent. The room was clean, quiet, reasonably priced and very comfortaby furnished. There is also a very nice restaurant on site that serves dinner and breakfast buffets, among other things. The buffets were sumptuous, the food was great, and the service was as good as I coujld want. I would go back there in an instant next time I am in Winnipeg.

Great place to relax, take a swim, enjoy the breakfast and buffet dinners. Close to the airport. The staff was very professional and friendly. Ashley (front desk) printed us maps so we knew where we were going. Greatly appreciated! As we were not familiar with the city driving.

The staff were helpful and friendly. They reacted quickly to any requests made. The hotel had to upgrade us to a king suite as there were a number of conferences, weddings and special events during our stay. The upgrade was a nice surprise! This location had a free shuttle from the airport, microwave, fridge and was close to a number of amenities. We were able to access the highway to get to our daughter's sporting event in Stonewell along with Portage Ave for the food, shopping and of course ice cream!

Size of he room, electrical plugs, close to the Pole park mall, $10 cab fare and taxis parked at the hotel for a quicker service plus the Restaurant and Bar hrs of operation and food. Friendly staff. I will be staying there again if the occasion occurs!

Rooms (2 times) were well appointed, very clean and with fresh air. Mattresses firm resulting in a super sleep .Prompt free shuttle to and from airport, which was very close. Nice pool area, great pizza in the pub with prompt service. Front desk staff were prompt and most helpful, checking on my flight departure and arranging the airport shuttle. A copious breakfast buffet with fresh fruit amoung the choicesenjoyed for a reasonable price.

I recently gave up my seat on a full flight and as a result, the airline put me up in the Best Western Plus as me new flight didn't leave until the next morning. The hotel was only a few minutes from the airport with a free shuttle service. The staff were friendly and the room, while basic, was large and clean. There is a lounge and restaurant in the hotel and a few other restaurants within walking distance. The only blip was upon check out when charges were put on my room that had already been paid. They sorted it out quickly and in a friendly manner.

Stayed one night on a cross country road trip. Close to the airport and trans Canada highway therefore lots of restaurants nearby. Good shopping mall close by as well. Even though you are close to airport we hardly heard any noise. Rooms were clean, beds and pillows were comfortable. You can pay $10 per person for breakfast. We ate elsewhere so can't comment on quality.

Stayed at this hotel while riding our Harley across Canada. It was a bit disappointing to say the least. It's called Best Western Plus so you would expect it to be a bit better than the standard BW. The hotel was quite old, one elevator was out of service, the carpet in the room was old and had a hole in it. Also they didn't offer breakfast.... not sure I would recommend :(

Overall good experience. Was approached by a homeless person when returning from dinner. Was surprised to find that breakfast did not come with the room. I should have paid closer attention. For the price I paid, most BW include breakfast. Would have stayed somewhere else had I known! Very nice room and friendly staff.

First off this was the Greensomething hotel in the past. At check in i was not recognized as a diamond plus member, then elevator shook then stoped between floors... then moved up with the door open.... they closed that elevator. The bed was noy very good. It had a plastic cover and small wore out pillows. The TV in the bedroom did not work. The ine in the sitting area did. The biggrst priblem was i got a voucher to eat breakfast... went in there and it was yhe really cheap stuff. Microwave pancakes that were cold, eggs out of a bucket and full of water lime the microwave type, really bad shrivled up sausage and it costs 10.00. I took one bite and spit it out. Aye a bowl of fruit loops... the staff was NOY the usual BW staff im used to, they were snobby. Next trip i will go a lityle outta town to the West side new BW Plus.

"Two night stay and park and fly"

We drove to Winnipeg, stayed one night, flew to Vancouver the next day, leaving our car at their Park and Fly, and stayed one more night when we flew back from Vancouver. The hotel itself was average but clean. It is set in the middle of an industrial park type of area so the setting isn't pretty, but it is very close to the airport which is handy. The real test of hotel staff is what they do when things don't go well. On our return stay we arrived at 11 pm from our flight and were given a room on the second floor. Unfortunately it was right beside the building's HVAC unit. The unit was right outside of our window and it was noisy. After trying unsuccessfully for an hour to get to sleep, I went downstairs to ask the concierge whether we could get another room. In some hotels that can be hard to accomplish but this man, despite only having a couple of empty rooms, gladly took me to both and let me choose which one I wanted. We then got a much better sleep. So although the hotel itself is just average, the helpful staff proved to be above average in my opinion.

Our stay was great, other than the air conditioner was not working properly, so we were a little too warm at night. Service was fine as they tried to fix the problem, but it still did not work. I will stay there again.

Everything in the hotel was great. In the restaurant they have a variety of food that was good. At night I go outside to smoke and I feel really safe doing that. I go there every year and they treat me great.

Out of seven weeks stay, elevator broke 1 1/2 weeks, hot tub down and out of service over three weeks, internet rarely works. Service from staff is great but all else very poor. Cleanliness is very good

Wonderful place to stay. Beds are comfortable and staff is friendly and helpful. The weekly Sunday brunch is excellent! Close to shopping, airport and major arteries.The only two negatives are fridges that freeze your food and slow elevators.

I did not need the shuttle service this time, but knowing it's available. We had time for the pool also, but sad that the hot tub was out of order..

For the price I paid on hotwire.com, I liked this hotel. Quiet. Sufficient parking this past weekend I stayed there. I rate the bar and restaurant 3 out of 5. Easy access laundry and ice if you need it. I didn't use it but good to know it's an option. Easy to find location. Close enough to retailers on St James. All staff were polite. Rooms were clean, bed and restrooms clean and well stocked too. I would stay here again. Close to the airport and decent neighborhood. What I didn't like is that parking lot didn't seem well lit, tv channel options minimal and on screen guide/control wasn't user friendly. Also, no convenience store within walking distance.

This is a beautiful hotel, clean and bright. Check in staff was very nice and helpful. Room was bigger than the Pembina Hwy Hotel, no breakfast included in the price. Close to the airport as we had to be there early. I would choose this hotel again as we found it to be closer for what we wanted and needed to do. Close to Polo Park mall, better parking for the car overnight

I've stayed twice now at this Best Western on Wellington near Route 90. It's a really convenient location if you're flying in to Winnipeg as it's just minutes from the airport, but not right at the airport and it's associated noise. And it's on Route 90 so it's east to access the north or south west sides of the city and quick to get to the perimeter to head to the east without having to go through the city. There were events happening at the hotel both times I was there, which created a lot of buzz in the lobby area, but didn't affect the quiet of the room I was in. The sound proofing is not the best and crying kids at midnight were not appreciated. The breakfast buffet was cheap ($10) and cheerful, if uninspired. All staff I encountered were helpful and friendly. Parking is plentiful but not covered.

Parking out front (no extra charge), 3 minutes drive to the airport, large lobby with complimentary coffee machine, prompt friendly desk staff. Room 516, very clean with only a partial view but okay for a night. Queen room with sitting chair, footstool, table, 2 chairs, work desk with chair, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, AC, WIFI (included),TV (many channels), bright bathroom with amenities, nice tub and shower. There is a restaurant, clothes washer & dryer for guest use and other facilities we did not use, no time. Overall nice room and hotel close to the airport and would stay again if the opportunity arises. CAA rates from the BW website were lower than price on Expedia.

I had a suite and had to pay for everything... which was very weird to me. I had to pay for my breakfast and o found a spider in my room and I was on the fifth floor! Other then that, the staff were very nice and helpful with my taxis!

This hotel was conviently located, however, it was lacklustre in other areas. When I checked in, the hotel staff at the front desk seemed very disinterested and not very welcoming. When I got my room, I was shocked to see there was a bucket full of water surrounded by wet floor signs and a leaking ceiling directly outside my door. The paint was pealing, water was dripping, overall very off putting. When I brought this to the attention of the hotel staff no one addressed it. I would strongly consider staying elsewhere next time.

A nice clean hotel with super staff who were very gracious and helpful with the result being they took a fairly 'average' place to a higher level. The hotel is close to the airport (five minute drive or so) but they have a shuttle that leaves from the airport on the 45 and 15's (and back from the hotel on the hour and half hour). There is a decent lounge and restaurant attached; all in all everything is decent value for the money. Do not really expect lots to do within say a 15 minute walk.

Excellent hotel. Staff were friendly throughout our 2 night stay. The cleaning staff are amazing and they keep the place immaculate. The only negative is the restaurant. It is just "ok". Good for breakfast but you will probably want to consider another venue for other meals.

At first glance the suite looked great. By the next day we found the mattress had a large tear on one corner revealing the foam inside where any kind of vermin could hide. In addition there was no usual free breakfast rather a buffet style for 10 dollars which means quite an extra cost for families. Meetings and weddings made finding a daytime parking spot in the front difficult. It would be nice if patrons of those events were asked to park in the rear, particularly when the hotel is supposedly booked full.

As with most Best Westerns it is clean and comfortable. The hotel was busy with a large wedding party. There was a fair bit of noise but thankfully it all quieted down by 9PM. The airport shuttle was booked the night before for 630AM and took about 10 minutes to get to the airport.

We had an excellent stay at this location. We attended a wedding here and decided to stay overnight rather than drive home late in the evening. They needed to change our room from a double queen to a king and offered us a free breakfast to compensate.

We attended a wedding that was being held at this hotel. Overall experience was good. We did not use the pool or gym so no comment there. Our rooms were clean and decent. The elevator was ridiculously slow. The wedding ballroom was fine but a little hot when everyone was in there for a while.

We stayed from May 7-12, 2017. The first few days were for business purposes, the last were for family medical appointments. We were pleased with the service we received, in both the meetings I attended and the hotel overall. The only suggestion we would have is that if the hot tub/spa is being serviced on a daily basis, that it be done when the pool area is closed. This way it would be ready for guests to use as soon as the pool area opens.

The hotel is fairly priced and works well. My room was at the front of the hotel and had a bit of noise from the smokers in front. The food is fairly basic but well priced. My room was a suite but the living room part had no outside window and was quite dark. The bed was fairly firm but I prefer quite a hard mattress for my bad back. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Overall good hotel friendly staff! Rooms are to small for families at this hotel pool is small, no water slide, fitness centre is very basic. Hotel restaurant is very pricey but has decent portions and has a kids menu but does not offer it or advertise it. You have to ask! Parking and location are good many different amenities near.

We had an unplanned emergency medical trip and needed a room for one night for sure, maybe two. Staff upgraded us to a suite and were flexible when I told them I may need to room for a second night. After checking out after night two I picked my husband up from the hospital but before we got too far we realized an extra stay in the city was in order. We called and explained what had happened and that we couldn't wait until the usual check in time. We were guaranteed a room. When we arrived 15 minutes we were greeted and told it was just like going back home - the room we had checked out of was cleaned and ready for our return.

When I arrived for my room I was told it was for 3pm not 3am. however the information I had printed showed 3am. I was told it was not them but a third party which is understandable but I was then given a number and brushed off.

I was very impressed with this hotel. It was much more luxurious than I had expected from a Best Western. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom spacious and spotlessly clean. Pickup from airport was a breeze and staff very friendly. Breakfast was one of the best I have ever experienced at a Best Western.

Staff is excellent and rooms are clean. high speed internet was fast and the fitness room had everything for a quick workout, although it could be a little larger. The location is great as it is close to the airport and Polo park which has excellent restaurants and shopping. A movie theatre is also close by if you want to see a movie.

I love the Best Western Plus by the Winnipeg airport. They have excellent service and it's a great location! You can walk to get a bite from Tim Hortons or a cab ride to Polo Park under $10. The restaurant at the hotel is very good too! It's been my second home every time I travel via Winnipeg.

I had booked this hotel a while back, seeing as I was flying out of Winnipeg at 6:15 am, and didn't want to get up at 2 am in order to get to the airport. The weather was horrid, and the drive to Winnipeg was nasty, and when I got to the hotel, I found I was upgraded to a suite. Nice surprise. I spent very little time checking in, which was also nice. The room was exceptional. I would stay here again.

Was here with sports team and day before we arrived emails were sent to several families saying they were being moved to a different hotel. It was fixed in the end but not before creating a huge amount of stress. We were also woken up by cleaning staff at 8:30 am one morning to clean room and woken another night by alarm going off at 3 am by cleaning turning on alarm while cleaning. Overall not a great experience. We won't come back.

Our daughter had her wedding reception in the Greenwood Ballroom. From beginning to finish, everything went so smoothly. Every guest at the wedding thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Food was served promptly, piping hot, and was delicious! Nothing but praise for the excellent service, If you want to plan a perfect wedding, choose the Best Western Plus Winnipeg Airport, and select one of their All-inclusive wedding packages. You cannot go wrong, and you will save lots of work running around putting all the pieces together required for a wedding reception.

Stayed here for three nights to attend a conference at the Hotel. The hotel, the restaurant, bar and rooms are all clean. The rooms are set up well and are very quiet, except for the fan. Water and water pressure are good in shower/ bath combo. Elevators are fairly quick. Breakfasts in the restaurant are very good for $10. What I have to say though is that the staff at this hotel makes this a 5 star. Every single person from the front desk to the cleaners were so friendly and easily struck up a conversation! This was so refreshing! Thank you! Location is very close (3 Min drive) to the airport and about 20 min from downtown by cab.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while attending a conference. The room was quite large and very clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean with plenty of towels and the needed amenities.. The food was excellent. It was served hot and on time. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful.

My room was clean and well maintained daily. The shuttle bus to and from the airport was broken but they provided taxi service. The room was noisy with elevator sounds ongoing. The hallway resounded of people going in and out The wifi in my room was very unreliable. It cut in and out multiple times

I normally stay at the Four Points in Winnipeg but had to stay else where when Four Points was booked for my last trip. I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and services at Best Western. The staff was polite and friendly, even bumped me up to a suite (which is gorgeous). The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was very clean. Even though the room was a little costly I was very happy with this stay.

My wife and I needed a weekend get away from the kids, so we decided to stay in our own city. The hotel had a nice lounge where we started with some drinks with friends. They had my premium rum brand which was nice to see. The room was clean, but my only complaint and its not much of one was that it was moist. It had by my best guess that the carpets had just been steam cleaned or something. Not a deal breaker but one more day to air it out would make a big difference. Still better to see them cleaning than not. Beds were comfy, small fridge was handy, and a small utility sink in the main room was good too. We enjoyed the pool the next day, small to medium sized but we had it all to our selves (Sunday Morning at 9 am). Hot tub was also nice. It is located on the main floor, so you have to walk by the lobby in your bathing suit. Not that I cared but I thought some people would. There was a lobby coffee machine, which would make hot water for tea, but no tea bags. When I asked at the counter they provided tea bags (thank you). We had breakfast in the restaurant, and it was delicious. Service was a bit slow, but the place was only 10% or less filled with diners. One server was looking after everyone, at least when we got there. We weren't in a hurry so no big deal. Overall a nice stay. On a side note we had come here for a wedding 6 months ago and it was one of the nicest hotel wedding I've been to. They have a big fancy banquet room and put on a great event. Worth checking into if you have a wedding to put on. Our friends thought theirs was great. Thats why we came to stay here.

Went here to celebrate an anniversary with my fiancé and the power went out. It got very hot in the room and we went to check out and front desk after staying only for 4 hours. They didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. Said there are outages all over the province and you're checked out with an "all good to go". Horrible experience. Do not stay here.

We stayed here for one night and it was adequate for what we needed. It was quiet through the night which was great. The rooms were a decent size. Fairly clean. We didn't use the pool or eat at the restaurants so I can't say anything about that. We still love the Hampton or Clarion but both were full. However this fit the bill just fine for the few hours we needed. The front desk staff were also helpful and accommodating.

It was a nice hotel and the service was good. I was just passing through for one night. The only complaint was that there were a lot of homeless people around the hotel asking for money, cigarettes and looking for butts in the ashtrays, which made me a little weary since I was travelling alone.

We were glad we upgraded our King Room to a Suite. The front desk clerk, Paolo, (I hope I have you name right!) was very welcoming and friendly! That kind of greeting and service makes all the difference between a negative or positive stay. The pool is open until 11pm. We can go the bar until 1am where we can order food if needed. Nice feature to have on site! Nice large conference room here. Close to the airport not walking distance per say, but really close to the Polo Park Mall and other store's, Tim Hortons, other hotels, several restaurants, and lots more shops. We were registered quickly and in our room promptly. A clean room is very important to us. This room is a clean, comfortable and spacious room to call home while we explore the city and celebrate our 32 wedding anniversary! Thank you Paolo! Nice spacious, comfortable, clean room. Nice pillows and bed! Great front desk service! We recommend this hotel for anyone. We will stay again because it is really good value for our money!

Clean, spacious room with window that opened to catch a breeze. On site restaurant good breakfast and buffets although a little pricey. Close to airport yet room quiet. Will stay here on future trips to Winnipeg. $306.00 (including high tax) for 3 nights very reasonable. Hotel required $150.00 upfront deposit although room was prepaid. This worked well for dining and room service.

checked in and made my way to the 5th floor and the cards would not open the lock back to the elevator and one of the staff asked how my stay was and I told her it was not off to a good start. she took over told me to go to my meeting and she would have the bags taken to my room and I could pick up new cards on my return when I returned it had happened. now that is service and great customer service

The hotel was great. The room was large and in great shape with everything that you need. We had two dogs and the hotel was pet friendly but we were put on the 3rd floor but it still worked. We were in a large truck with a car transport trailer so we parked in the back parking lot with the other large trucks. Next morning we discovered our truck had its door lock punched out and some things stolen from it. Now this isn't the hotels fault but a warning you may want to park in the front if you visit.

Upon entry the front desk staff really welcomes you and makes you feel special. The furnishing and fixtures automatically gives you a sense of luxury & check in was smooth, even though it was very very busy. Our room was clean and in order. had a wonderful stay, it was the most comfortable bed we ever had in any hotel with many choices of pillows. Breakfast was paid via voucher and the buffet style had too many excellent choices all prepared without processed / freezer type food the other hotels use. It was worth paying the extra for just one night, a treat to be remembered. Thanks Best Western PLUS!

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights while on a conference. The first night was great...excellent service. The 2nd night it rained and all the smokers were safely protected from the downpour under the canopy - right in front of the doors. I complained to the front desk staff who chased them to another location....but....as soon as the staff person left, another smoker decided that this was the place to be and I had to walk through his cloud of smoke. I discussed this with the staff who were very sympathetic, but said they didn't know what to do. I suggested that the hotel hire someone to guard the front entrance and the staff person said she didn't think the hotel would agree to this...but she would ask. I don't the reception staff that this hotel has beautifully appointed amenities, friendly and efficient service, but all of this was negated by the slum appearance of the front of the hotel, even though they clean up the butts 3 times a day.

Stayed here with 2 friends for one night as hotel handy for airport. The hotel was nice. The room itself was fine. It was a good size, clean and comfortable. As there were 3 of us it meant that one of us had to sleep on the fold down sofa bed. We had to use the duvets from the beds to make it half way to being comfortable to sleep on ... you could really feel the springs otherwise....not great. We had breakfast in the hotel. There was a fair selection of hot items ....or I should say items that SHOULD have been hot. I had to go and tell the staff that the burners had all gone out and the food was stone cold. Surely one of them should have been checking? Disappointing service. All in all a very average stay.

Checked out at 10:30am, but had left messages - both written on my room record and verbal with Reception staff - that I was expecting the Brandon Air Shuttle about 11am, and would they please call my room when he arrived. Came downstairs at 11:08am to find the BAS driver, kind of upset, who said that hotel Reception said they had no record of my registration at their hotel. Oh well, I tried.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very nice room: room darkening drapes, quiet - no outside noise. The beds were extremely, wonderfully comfortable. Appreciated the outlets located on the lamp base to plug in my cPap machine. Handy restaurant in the hotel with excellent food for supper, and wonderful selection on breakfast buffet. Highly recommend.

The front desk staff try to make you upgrade your room choice for a "reduced rate". They are not clear that breakfast is not included or that a voucher is available for those booking rooms. The wait staff at the Dalton's restaurant do not communicate very well. The internet is awful! HOWEVER, This hotel is very clean, bed is comfortable.

Great location, close to airport, fabulous customer service. Just in town for one night for a funeral, and the AC was too noisy to get much rest. Upon check out in the morning, explained this to the front desk clerk, who was terrific in making sure we were happy with the results. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Checking into this hotel was quick and efficient. The rooms were clean, and although very near the airport we did not hear roaring jet engines overhead. We enjoyed a drink at the bar along with an excellent snack before heading out to Joey's for dinner. Our wake up call came at precisely 5:00 am as requested. We attained vouchers for our buffet breakfast at 6:00 am, which contained the usual hot-cold items, all fairly good. Fairly good value for a hotel only five minutes away from the Airport.

The hotel is a garden variety, near the airport hotel, more recently relabelled as a Best Western. It was clean and most importantly quiet, even though filled to capacity. we did not use any dining facility as we had a favourite breakfast spot nearby.

This is not the first time I have stayed at this hotel but it's been awhile so I thought I should review it again. The service at the front desk is always very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and my bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had a very deep tub and a great shower head. They give you all the amenities like shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. No body cream though. The air conditioner can be a little loud when it starts up during the night. They also allow dogs! I asked if they had specific rooms for families with pets and they told me usually they give them the lower floors so they can take them for a walk. I asked about people with allergies and I was told that all the carpets were steam cleaned every time a pet stayed and all the linens were cleaned. They also have a great indoor pool.

I managed to get a secret hotel price from a leading website for this property for one night last week. For $69+tax, we got a king suite with one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. I don't expect to be able to repeat that, but I do plan a repeat visit to this clean, friendly, amazing, property.

"Good mid-range airport hotel"

This hotel is exactly what you expect it to be - a mid-range chain airport hotel. The staff are efficient, the room was a decent size, clean and modern, the bathroom (with tub/shower) also modern. There was a mini-fridge and coffee-maker. The mattress and bedding were good. There is free parking on-site and a shuttle to take you to the airport. Because we were catching a very early flight the hotel sent us in a cab. There were 2 weddings on the Saturday night we stayed so it's a busy place, book ahead.

Stayed a Friday night. Checked in by 4, had reserved through Best Western App. Check in was smooth, no issues. The number signs on third floor confusing as there seems to be a typo. Says the one hallway goes to 322 but it should be 332. Walked around looking before realizing their error on the wall. Room spacious and mostly clean. When mirror fogged up there was remainder of previous messages on the mirror. Nice of the previous person to say they love me :) Didn't like walking through large groups of people smoking out front, but wasn't hotels fault. There was a wedding on. Beds comfy, and that's what truly matters.

Had a night and day between flights. Hotel was excellent as usual. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, as usual. Buffet breakfast was very good and very reasonably priced. Will be back. 24 hour airport shuttle is BIG plus.

Staying at the best Western airport is great it's close to polo park and the grocery store with the mall is around the corner and down st james street. I am in town again on business but I will find time maybe on the weekend to visit the museum on my day off looks like a lot of fun. The hotel has good banquet meals and friendly customer service. I would definitely stay here again.

I am assigned the last room of the hallway and the internet service is very weak. Called the front desk if they can switch room but they said there are no more rooms available. If you are looking for reliable internet service during your stay, this hotel will probably not your first choice.

Banquet service and food was well-done for a chain. Had a herb stuffed chicken - good size and portion. Veggies were done to perfection. The plated service was done quickly and efficiently. a squash soup was served and it was so-so.

This hotel was chosen by our group for a conference. The service by the staff at the front desk was quick and friendly. The hotel was bright and cheerful. We like d the pool and the hot whirlpool. A nice place to relax after a day of meetings. Meals served during the conference were delicious and quickly served.The lady who cleaned our room was friendly and did a good job of keeping the room clean and tidy. Parking was convenient and free.

It is not that I am against staff working with same employer for a long time. But, a lot of new faces, especially people in the front desk of a hotel, makes the hotel look fresh! Change is needed once in a while, whether we like it or not, I guess.

Second visit since this hotel, formerly Greenwood, became a Best Western Plus. Hotel badly needs renovations. Looks tired everywhere. Common areas look rundown, room furniture needs upgrading. Office chair was unusable. Key entries to room are old and unreliable. Bed is okay. AC worked well though noisey. Hallways not vacuumed well. Hotel has a smoking floor which permeates throughout. Frequently only one staff at front desk resulting in wait times for just about everything. Restaurant on site with coupon for discounted breakfast buffet. Hot items on buffet though are cold; eggs powdered and watery. Food at fast food restaurants better than these breakfasts. Staff in restaurant friendly but don't make up for food. Hotel seems more concerned with hosting large events such as grads, weddings etc. This leaves very little parking for guests though on weekends. Only one handicapped spot close to entrance and was unavailable entire three days there as a car from bc parked there never moved. Definitely not like any other best western plus we've stayed in. Standards have dropped significantly and we will not be back.

The hotel is close to the airport and about a $15 cab ride to downtown. The hotel services all met our needs. The room was clean and tidy. We would stay here again. The front desk staff handled our check-in well. The check-out staff were quite friendly. We did not use the restaurant.

I like this hotel. It's very close to a lot of different amenities including shopping malls, grocery stores, restaurants and businesses. The restaurant in this hotel is decent enough. Staff is friendly, food is good, price is modest. The only complaint I have about this place is the swimming pool. It's ICE COLD!!! Literally. Unless you like swimming in the freezing cold water then by all means this is the perfect hotel for you.

I personally would not book here again, I have come to expect fresh coffee to be available all day not for the only coffee to be from and old machine with packaged creamers, this hotel is supposed to be PLUS. When paying premium price I expect a breakfast to be included. They do have a restaurant on site but I would be hard pressed to rate a 3 stars. They only real plus that I will give this hotel is there location re proximity to the Winnipeg Airport.

Restaurant was on the pricey side but food was good. Service and staff was great. Free shuttle from airport. Unfortunately when it was time to leave it was pouring rain and front entrance is not covered so we got soaked trying to load luggage into the car and no one to assist us. Pillows tend to be lumpy. Close to airport but we weren't really bothered by airport noise. Bid of a rough looking crown in the bar and noisey area.

Attending the annual #FCM2016AC in Winnipeg this week/weekend, one of many host hotels, economical and close to the airport. Clean rooms, pool and nice HOT hot tub, the warmest one I've seen, nice Gym. Excellent restaurant, with a reasonable hot breakfast. Would stay again.

I booked a room with a king size bed as I was passing though Winnipeg for the evening. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the room was in fact a suite with an attached separate room containing another TV, couch and desk. The room was a pet friendly one and it didn't smell of pets or have dog hair everywhere. A pleasant surprise! The room was very clean and had lots of nice touches like free coffee and bottled water. The girls at the front risk were very pleasant for check in and check out, and when I ordered room service for breakfast and it was very tasty. I would certainly return to this BWP next time I am in Winnipeg!

Someone was given a key to our room and tried to enter at 1am, waking up my kids. Waited over 15 minutes for restaurant staff to find a high chair, got fed up and got one ourselves. Then was told the breakfast was over 30 minutes before it was supposed to be

What a fantastic stay. Not only were they pet friendly, they also provided a pet goody bag! How to make us feel welcome. The room was beautiful, clean, comfortable. We will definitely stop here on our way back across Canada!

This hotel chain offers consistent service in all the places I have stayed.There is often a good restaurant with hours that serve both arrivals and departures. Rooms are clean and coffee and tea are available. Extras can be obtained if required.

I stayed at the BW Plus for 3 nights while attending a convention. Right off the bat I noticed how friendly and hospitable the staff is. The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. I need hypoallergenic bedding and was impressed that the pillows were switched out BEFORE I entered the room (at most hotels I need to call down to housekeeping to remind them). A special shout out to Brian for all of his help and hospitality!

I stayed here one night on business. Clean, spacious room. Only complaint was that I normally have a tough time sleeping, and the loudish air system in the room was pretty loud, even with earplugs in.

One of the few hotels in Winnipeg with smoking rooms. I was grateful for that and very pleasantly surprised. The hotel is VERY clean, spotless bathroom, wonderful bed, friendly staff.. I would stay there again in a heartbeat even if I weren't a smoker.. Great value for the money. I arrived late and left early and did not use the pool or gym etc. therefore cannot give an opinion on that.

We were staying on the sixth floor in a Jacuzzi suite, it was extremely well cleaned. The individual coffee maker was a nice surprise! The room was well stocked with towels, shampoos ,body wash, and hand soap! And the house keeping staff were on the ball on keeping it all restocked for us. we will defiantly be coming back again.

My family and I stayed for a weekend in March and enjoyed the stay. The rooms were comfortable and had lots of room. The pool was nice but we found the "hot" tub colder than bath water which we were not too happy about. But other than that it has a nice workout room. Very close to the airport, the mall and lots of shopping as well as many restaurants! Awesome location

Earlier this week I was booked into another hotel in the Winnipeg airport area, Unfortunately I became a little disoriented and showed up at the Best Western near Winnipeg Airport convinced I was at the hotel I booked into. After some help from Muriel, I realized I had made a mistake and was booked into another Hotel in the area. Feeling embarrassed with my mistake I started for the door to leave quietly, but Muriel ( girl on the front desk ) stopped me and asked me if I in fact did make an error then to my amazement she offered to drive me and my luggage to the actual hotel I was booked at. Totally tired from a trade show and shocked with this amazing offer I accepted her gracious hospitality.. Muriel went way beyond the call of duty ( and I wasn't even a customer / guest at her hotel. Muriel should be commended for this " Platinum type service to a non registered guest. Amazing service Muriel. I will be calling your manager to let her know how much I appreciate your service and I will definitely be staying at your hotel next time I am in town. If this is how you treat non guests...I cant wait to see the service you and the staff provide for actual guests. Thank you sooo much !! Truly appreciated !!

The rooms are clean and up to date. Beds Clean and comfortable. Side window opens so you can allow fresh air in at night while sleeping, it is a side window and small so need to worry about safety. Staff is very polite and helpful. Room service is excellent. Both mornings we had breakfast in our room and it was very good.pancakes, eggs, bacon,sausage, strawberries....an amazing amount for over pancakes. We had supper down in the restaurant. Both of us had steak and it was as good as any steak place, vegetables were done perfectly. Soup and salad were both good...not over the top but still very good. This is the second time I have had steak at this restaurant. We stay at this hotel whenever we stay overnight in the city. Close to Polo Park, Montana's Restaurant, Chapters, Home Depot and many other stores. Also,they are close to the airport but not so close that you hear the planes.

I travel quite a bit for business and often have early morning flights to the U.S. On my last trip I decided that I wanted to stay by the airport so that I didn't have to get up at 3am. I booked with the manager Jen, and she was absolutely fantastic to deal with. When I got in to my room I was shocked; she gave me an amazing business suite (the king suite) that I was able to sit down and relax the evening before my flight. I went down to the lounge and the bartender Paul was great, I sat there watched the Jets game with a couple cold beers. I will definitely be using this hotel again for my business trips and highly recommend this to anyone looking to get a great (and silent) night sleep before travel. I think the staff in this hotel makes it a place to go back again. They were helpful and friendly. There are enough parking on the lot for someone to visit you. It is easy to get there when you arrive from the airport and the highway to leave the city is right by the hotel. Overall this is the best place to stay in Winnipeg when you are in transit.

poor cleanliness in entrance and corridors, elevators had strange odour . tv channels did not match tv guide, was not told at check in where pool, restaurant etc were located ,had to ask . other than having good location to where we had to go i would think twice about revisiting this location.

Website says 'pet friendly', sound proof rooms, 3rd floor is priority for children and/or pets but they put us on the 4th floor even though I stated I had both a child and a dog. We got a complaint for a barking dog the very first day we were there! Ruined the rest of our time there!

great hotel; the shuttle bus to the airport is provided at any hr of the day; its just a 5 min drive from the airport. The front desk staff were very nice in guiding us through whatever questions we had. You just need to let the front desk know when you need the shuttle service and they will have it ready.

Not a bad choice to be close to the airport, but don't count on them to go the extra step if you need a hand. My son left his wallet in a rental car we had just returned to the airport and the hotel wouldn't give us a lift to make the 5 minute drive to retrieve it. They were kind enough to call a cab, but I wonder what Ritz Carlton would have done. Otherwise the room was fine and the restaurant just okay, it sufficed for one night but not sure it would be my first choice next time.

Stayed here the night of our wedding as it was close to our reception venue. We booked 5 rooms total between us and the wedding party, and had called several days ahead to request an early check-in if possible to at least just one room as we had a limo booked for the day and wanted to be able to leave our bags and a couple cars at the hotel for the morning after. We were advised we would have to call the night ahead to see if they had an empty room that could be ready for us, as they felt they might be fully booked, which was completely fair. Called the night before and was treated as if I was inconveniencing them, and they gave me the vague answer of "I don't know, call in the morning" . My husband and the boys decided just to take the chance and go down to the hotel, and they said they couldn't check us in, but we were welcome to leave a couple of cars there, we just had to keep our bags in the car until we arrived late that night. We asked if they needed our license plate info to park in the lot, they told us no, and so the days festivities began. We arrived after our wedding (around 1:00AM) and at this point they insisted we had to give them our cars details, even though we had been parked there all day long at that point. After a long day I was not impressed to be running around getting everyone's license plate numbers, when they were there and offered to give them to the desk that morning. When we arrived in our rooms, which were all booked as double occupancy, we were surprised to find only 1 double bed in each room, in the end it was good enough and we just wanted to call it a night. As we brought up all of our bags from the car and were getting settled into our rooms, the security guard that was watching the hallways told us to go to our rooms and go to bed as if we were children at camp or something! Admittedly we were a few drinks in, but in no way even close to being disruptive or loud, we were all just trying to go to bed ourselves. Overall, it was clean and a decent nights sleep, and really that's the essentials at a hotel, but not impressed with there lack of customer service.

If you are flying out of the Airport in Winnipeg, this is a good place to stay. It is on Wellington, which leads right to the airport. The rooms are very clean, well designed and include free WIFI. We left our car there for 2 weeks while we were in Mexico. There is a daily charge for this $7.00 I believe.But it includes a plug in and the parking areas are well lit. There is a shuttle service to and from the airport. We had to be at the airport by 0445 and there was no problem getting there. On our return, we called from the airport and the shuttle was there in 5 minutes.

The room was spacious, clean and some amazing amenities. My wife and I had some good time in the hotel specially the whirlpool. The staff has been great with some exceptional service. The morning breakfast though was a paid affair but was really good.The location was close to the airport and the city centre. Our room was facing towards the main road and looked beautiful. We had a great time. Would like to thank the Managers & staff for their lovely service. Definitely looking forward to come back and have a stay with them in the near future.

We celebrated our wedding here on June 20 2015. It was beautiful - from fantastic food to a gorgeous ambience. Their all inclusive package is unique and made it easy for us! Madeleine's decorating did a phenomenal job , Candace Kowalchuk- the hotels banquet manager went above and beyond ! Disappointments - Crystal sound DJ played the wrong father daughter dance song and stopped it half way. We gave them all of the songs we wanted played four months in advance instead of the four weeks requested and they hardly played anything. Bury star sound was surprisingly Awful. Also last minute guest add ins did not get done ... This made it embarrassing for us and the guests Overall would do it here again in a heart beat. What an amazing memory

Great place to stay for when you have to be at the airport early. They also offer reasonable priced parking for while you are away on vacation...and they will even pick you up at the airport and drive you directly to your vehicle!! Great customer service.

We picked this hotel as a place to getaway from the kids for a couple of nights. It seems like there must be a lot of business travellers who stay here. The hotel was very quiet Sunday night and we didn't hear any hall noise at all. Monday night seemed busier as we did hear a bit of hall traffic and it wasn't quite as quiet. Overall though, we had a very relaxing two night stay. The staff was friendly and the room was clean.

"Our go-to place"

This is now our go-to hotel in Winnipeg. We look for a good price and a good location when we choose hotels. We can book this with our Airmiles for next to nothing. It's very close to the airport and hadn't ever an issue with getting a shuttle on time. The driver is very courteous. I also always ask to stay here for business trips.

"A comfortable, quiet stay."

We stayed here for three nights over the Christmas 2015 holiday. The staff were accommodating and friendly, getting us extra coffee and tea when we asked, etc. The room was quiet, with very little noise coming from the hallway. The beds were comfortable and clean. We always do a thorough check for bed bugs and unclean sheets, and these beds passed our tests. We did find one item of clothing from the previous guests in our coat closet, but that was about it for lack of cleaning issues. We did not try the hot tub or pool. The front desk computers were down when we tried to check out, so the staff gave us a free breakfast buffet coupon for the trouble. Sadly the breakfast buffet was cold and not very desirable, but free is free. I wouldn't recommend paying for it. I will be staying here again when I'm in Winnipeg and need a low-cost hotel near the airport.

"Our Christmas Hotel"

We came back home for Christmas and couldn't have chosen a better hotel. Staff were helpful, polite and accommodating. The dinner and buffets that were offered looked fabulous but being with family, were unable to enjoy them. Room (440) was very comfortable and large with 2 queen beds. Bathroom offered a large counter sink area plus underneath storage areas to keep it clutter clean. Large desk, coffee machine, fridge and an extra chair with reading lamp were enjoyed. Will definitely return.

"Nice hotel"

Stayed here Christmas Eve the room was nice and the beds are comfy. The only problem was the hot tub is broken. Would stay here again hopefully they can get the hot tub working. It's great if you are going to the airport only 5 minutes away. Good service they brought us a microwave when we asked for one

Stayed at this hotel prior to leaving for vacation the following day. The staff are excellent and accommodating. We arranged for a courtesy ride to the airport. The driver was pleasant and helpful very early in the morning. Would certainly stay there again.

"Something off..."

The hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly. I'll start off with that. No complaints. But something just wasn't right. First of all, they lost our reservations. It was a bit of a run around and we did get them to rebook us with enough time - but no apologies and it was just "funny" that we had to call them to find out they had us booked for the wrong date (they never called when we didn't show up). Secondly, our maid INSISTED on cleaning the room everyday. Almost to the point of breaking down the door to give us soap. Do Not Disturb signs be damned, they were getting in. It was a bit strange. Then when we went to check out, they had not marked us off as paying Cash for breakfast the day before. They told us (kinda condescending, actually) that it was alright, they would give us the freebee, etc. Kinda played it up that they were doing us the favor. The tone changed when I found my receipt from breakfast - but they again, never apologized. It was just kind of "Oh, well that's that". The shell is all there. Clean, no issues - book away. But the hotel itself needs to work on some of their customer service and processes.

We stay here every year on a overnight on the way to Mexico. They offer cheap parking with plug in for your vehicle for up to 2 weeks when on vacation. Rooms are very modern and clean. Restaurant and bar is clean with good service. Close to airport with free shuttle both ways.

"Very Nice Stay"

The room was very spacious and modern. The bed was very comfy. The pillows a little to soft for me (can't have it all). When I made reservations I asked for a microwave in the room (can't eat out 4 days in a row) and it wasn't there. They brought it up immediately. The chamber maids (are they still called that??) were very friendly and helpful.

"Good Front staff Not the best location.."

Stayed here on a layover flight and ended up having to stay two nites, The staff are great and the rooms are good, very close to airport but thats it....Its a 15.00 cab ride to the closes available place to buy any food, other than the waaaaay overpriced restraunt in the lobby...

"GOOD SITE AND GREAT FRONT LINE STAFF"

This is hotel is advertised as a "plus" site but it did not deliver that for us. We can say that the exceptional, professional and service minded staff -- are the "plus"...not the rooms... The onsite restaurant is another positive thing going for this Best Western site. Present and Future: The rooms are modestly appointed.They need a bit of upkeep/attention and updates for the modern age of technical needs (mobile technology). This would go to helping the guest experience/simplifying the stay at the hotel...adding to the "plus". Hotel Shuttle Service: At the end of our stay we needed to get the airport shuttle service but it was not available when it came time to take us. They did rectify this by giving us a taxi chit. But it was a bit nerve racking to wait for a cab instead of having the comfort of the hotel service. One of the reasons we went with this site was for the fact of having an airport shuttle service. As we said they did rectify that suitably. Should we go back to Winnipeg we may choose another Best Western site to compare it.

"Excellent Hotel, easy access, good parking, friendly staff, good breakfast deal"

Stayed for 4 nights and found it to be a great stay for the above reasons. The staff were very professional. The breakfast deal was good, you could have the buffet for 5 dollars. Unfortunately the price went up to 8, but that is still a decent deal for a buffet that has everything you want in the morning. Getting to the hotel is excellent, traffic was busy but no lineups. The parking was excellent, usually found a spot near the doors. Overall the stay was really good, I will certainly return

"Good place to stay"

Clean, modern, friendly staff. I used the gym, they have elypticals, treadmills, bike, and one multi-weight machine for weight work. No dumbells but the multi machine seemed to be ok especially for upper body workouts, you can see it in management and review photos. The pool is small, so can't do laps, more for kids and for stationary exercising I suppose. There is a jacuzzi which is nice and big. I stayed in the King bed business suite, not sure it was worth the premium. It's exactly like a regular room but on the top floor (6th floor). There is no breakfast included, but you can purchase a $5.65 voucher from front desk for the restaurant attached to the hotel, and they serve a full hot breakfast buffet (fruits, eggs, coffee, pancakes, sausages, pancakes, muffins and croissants). wifi is free and strong everywhere you go.

"Decent"

After a horrific experience at the Days Inn, my boyfriend and I immediately left and checked in at the Best Western around 11PM. Upon first arriving, we were very happy to check into this hotel due to the very large parking lot (we were travelling with a 5-tonne truck and have a lot of problems parking it wherever we go). Jas at the front reception desk was very friendly and prompt in getting us settled into a non-smoking room. The first room we walked into had a weird smell (almost like burnt marshmallows and cigarettes), so we went right back to the front desk to request a different room. We had no problems getting another room, and Jas was very apologetic for our troubles. The wi-fi here is very slow and often doesn't work, which was a big problem for us because the main purpose of our stay was for business. Web pages wouldn't load on our laptops and our phones would intermittently connect to the wi-fi. Eventually we just gave up and relied on wi-fi at the Tim Hortons on Wellington. On the second night, we had trouble sleeping because there was a Halloween event going on, but after calling the front desk and telling them we couldn't sleep because of the noise, they immediately turned down the music. Finally, I would like to mention that I am vegetarian, and often have a hard time with food options at hotels. Room service was FANTASTIC and very accommodating with my requests. The food came to our room in under 20 minutes and it was very delicious as well.

Yeah there are people who travel that smoke. It makes vacation much more enjoyable when you can get a room for smokers.. You could not smell smoke anywhere thru out the hotel ..very good ventilation . Appreciate that your hotel recognizes the needs of smokers who travel instead of treating them like they are worthy of their establishment

"Not up to Best Western standards"

Stayed three nights in this Best Western formerly Greenwood Inn. Even when it was the Greenwood, the property has declined. Checkin was very slow and we were not told about breakfast vouchers at the restaurant. Room was dirty especially the bathroom with noticeable hair on floor and countertops. A pair of socks from former guest found by wall unit on floor. TV was small for room and did not come with any channel guide. No room service menu despite on site restaurant. Elevators very slow all weekend and shook when they finally did arrive. We tend to only stay at Best Western and this was definitely not up to the usual excellence this chain offers. On the positive the on site restaurant was wonderful. Staff there were exceptional and the food and service great. Unfortunately due to the other issues we will not be returning to this location.

it is a nice hotel, the staff was nice, the bar was good to have something to eat at and have something it eat, room was clean, it was close to the airport and had good parking, close to local shopping

"A Nice and Modern Best Western"

The Best Western was modern and new and very nicely decorated. The room was very clean and nice. The front desk staff were lovely on our arrival and our departure. We really liked the breakfast buffet. If you pay $5 you get a really good hot and cold buffet that is quite substantial. That was a nice surprise. I came knowing that breakfast was not included, so we were very happy with this. The beds were uncomfortable and very springy, which was surprising to us because usually Best Western Plus Hotels have really great beds. We enjoyed our night here and would return.

Great hotel and room rate! I like the location as it is on the way out of the city so heading home is not a big experience! Staff are very polite and helpful. Love the beds and rooms size is great! Definitely worth your stay!

"The Best Western is thee Best."

I love coming to this hotel. It has anything anyone could need, use, close to shopping, meetings. I came and had extra overnight work and had to be up until 4:00 in the morning and was so tired, they let me have a late check out for 12:00. Now that is what I call service beyond. No, questions asked, of course I explained about why I asked for the late check out, but they were happy to extend my check out to 12:00. Of course I would never ask for that every time I come but this was a situation I needed their help with and with thier excellent services, they helped me with my request. Thank you to all the workers at the Best Western, I am so pleased with your services. I would rate this hotel a 10 (of course 10 being the greatest). If anyone needs a room, check in with the BEST WESTERN.

This is a clean hotel with comfortable beds, friendly staff and nice spacious rooms. It's a good place to stay close to the Winnipeg airport. It's nice to have an window that opens in the room. The hotel was quiet.

"love the location for business"

I always stay at this hotel, its close to the airport for those early morning flights out, has a restaurant on site as well as room service. Tim Horton's is close by. it is a busy hotel as has a convention centre attached but still quiet.

"Well maintained and clean"

This Best Western was formerly the Greenwood Inn and Suites and has been a near-the-airport hotel in Winnipeg for years. I have stayed here many times and most recently stayed here on the account of an airline layover. The front desk staff was very friendly; the room was very clean; the bathroom was stocked with toiletries; the fridge and microwave were immaculate. The bed was comfortable and the linens were soft. I ordered room service, which was delivered quickly and by a very affable server. I would recommend this hotel to any traveller.

"Business Trip"

The hotel is very close to the airport and they do offer a shuttle to and from the airport. The room was very clean and had a clean smell to it every time I walked in. A restaurant is connected to the hotel and many people enjoyed the breakfast (I did not take part). The parking lot was very busy and made it hard to get in and out but, other than that the place is safe, clean, and priced right. I would go back and recommend staying here. Very close to the airport so your time traveling back and forth is short.
