We were very disappointed with the quality of the hotel and environment. The only good thing about the stay was being in walking distance of someplace to eat. The sheets need to be replaced. The curtains need to be repaired as they were falling off hooks.
Do not stay here not worth the money! Dirty, poorly maintained with rude staff. We asked for room service and never had any. There was only 1 working ice machine. We will never stay at this location again. We have never had such a bad hotel experience.
Awesome stay. Not the newest, but always clean and that makes all the difference. Great breakfast choices every morning. The hotel is located in an area where all you need is close by: Fred Meyer, fast food, and fine dining. Also, dry cleaners within a few miles. Highly recommend.
It is VERY close to the freeway, which is both a plus and a minus. Lobby and breakfast room kind of dark and not very appealing, but the room we were in was very spacious and clean. We thought it was way overpriced for a BW, but I suppose it was mid-summer and convenient to the freeway, so that might have explained why it was so expensive. One other advantage is that it is very close to several restaurants nearby.
Middle of a heat wave and AC was extremely noisy that had to be turned off after cooling down room in order to sleep. Hard bed that one expects from a 6/7 customer rated hotel. No TV as remote didn't work so only option was 1 channel. Customer service though was wonderful even though extremely busy. Quick check in, assistance with trying to solve issues all done with a smile.
Overall stay was good. The trash in the hall next to the elevator was not checked for my stay it had a bad odor and was not pleasant
The rooms and hotel is old ,the bedding is worn , the tub has a crack the gym is very cheap equipment, overall very disappointed with the quality of this hotel ,they need to do a remodel, the worst bedding I have seen , the sheets are grey no white .
Ai'm told there is a better Best Western plus. This place was not great. Dirty, weird staff, and weird blood stains in weird places.
I made a mistake in the days selected for my reservation through Booking.com. I showed up at the property 7 days before my actual reservation...hotel had vacancies...and Booking.com sent an email requesting that the hotel waive the cancellation fee. We thought it was taken care of...but when we checked out...we were double billed...and the front desk would not help to resolve the issue. With just a little effort...they could have resolved...had a happy customer...but they did not. They said we had to work the issue through Booking.com (I have an email stating that the hotel denied the waiver of the cancellation fee). They just lost out on several stays in that hotel...I will be traveling there 4-5 times per year (for several years)...and I will find a different hotel.
I got billed for two rooms by price line, and one room by best western, for a one night stay in one room . Customer service just says they can't help with third party (price line). I booked in best western web page, lobbyist said this happens all the time. Customer service has been horrible, repeatedly saying it's not them it's price line,
The staff were great. Breakfast was decent. The room...not so good. Broken down couch, fridge with one setting - which wasn't cold, luke warm shower. Not awesome, but not terrible.
I needed somewhere to stay kind of last minute when I was looking for a new house in the area and best western had great prices online :) the staff was friendly and helpful
My mother passed away and we accidently booked two best western hotels for the same family member. They refused to help with anything. They would not even just give us point so we could use it for another nights stay. We had to pay for two hotel rooms with one not being use. They were not sympathetic and did not care of the special circumstances. I will never stay at a Best Western hotel as long as I live.
I'm here in Oregon on business my stay has been ok just noise coming from the above room at night as I try to sleep doesn't help but other than that my stay has been ok and no water dispenser in the room really bites
Went for a family funeral. It was nice to relax and enjoy a nice stay considering the reason for trip. It was nice not having to worry about our stay. Friendly staff and clean room. Breakfast was good, even had a big tub that was so relaxing after a long day.
My stay here was wonderful. The staff were all so kind, patient, and helpful. The room was clean, quiet, spacious, and relaxing. The breakfast was amazing too. I will definitely be staying at this hotel again very soon.
from check in to check out below average experience. Next time will stay at he Hilton across town. because of the confusing booking process - and treatment. when asked to speak to another employee. Please consider this all before booking.
We always have a great experience at this location. The rooms are HUGE and clean, the breakfast is always delicious and the employees are friendly. We stay every year for a company holiday party that us held at Bullwinkles.
Even though the check in staff was friendly and helpful, the check out staff was so bad that I'm still upset days later. Because my son asked for a trash bag as we were loading our car to leave the front desk yelled and told him never to come back, and he wasn't welcome. We had just checked out.
Great customer service, plenty of breakfast options but unfortunately not to my taste. Room was very clean. Would have been nice if within walking distance to coffee shop or restaurant but otherwise this is in a good location.
I was in town forb a wedding. I enjoyed my stay...I felt safe and comfortable which is key when traveling alone. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and quiet, internet connection. The location is convenient off of the freeway and walkable to restaurants.
Where do I start? First we were travelling with a truck and a small (Uhaul) motorcycle trailer. NO WHERE to park. We had to park next door in the lot of the partially vacant office building (stressful as I didn't want to block the business that was using the other half of that building). The room: Mattress should be thrown out. Basically equivalent to sleeping on the floor. Furniture was beyond worn out (massive peeling wood veneer on the main console with the tv, end tables scratched and peeling). The shower was "cleanish", however the ceiling and wall paint was peeling. Very little water pressure to boot. Wouldn't recommend staying here unless you have NO other choices. Overpriced and underdelivered.
I've stayed at this property before and it continues to be a very comfortable, clean and convenient location for me. The morning breakfast is always fresh and good and the pool area which includes a hot tub, has been clean and enjoyable.
Quiet and comfortable. Concrete floors and doors without excessive spring closures make for an uninterrupted sleep. Staff very friendly and breakfast always most welcome. A brew pub across the street provides perfect fare for the weary
This is a very good hotel if you want a basic, clean room, free parking, and shops and restaurants close by. Great value for money. In addition, the indoor pool and spa were quite good, and the staff were quite friendly and helpful. Caveat - We could hear the highway noise at night. You may want to avoid a room close to the highway if you are sensitive to it. It did not bother us though.
The room was clean and quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The staff are the very best to have at a hotel desk! I appreciated the fact that it is located right off the I-5 corridor, and within walking distance of RAM restaurant.
It was nice to have some separation between bed and living space. One person could read while another slept. Good location outside of Portland. Many places nearby to eat and shop. Suited our purpose for a medical visit to ohsu.
this place was great. The room was nice and quite bigger than expected. The continental breakfast was great with many options to choose from .But the best part was the indoor swimming pool! thank you Best Western.
I do enjoy the prices at this hotel however from California and Oregon hotels I've stayed over night had very dirty rooms. The rooms also smelled like of cigarettes, which isn't ideal if you get sick from that smell
The staff from entry to exit were great! They were friendly & on top of their game, helping with all my needs. The room was clean. The beds were comfy. The hot tube had decent jets and it was not overpowered by the smell of chlorine. The breakfast was average. The hotel was easily accessible from the freeway yet quite from the traffic.
All I wanted was a hot bath , I have a bad back. They said I could get new room. That wasn't possible it was everything I could do to get myself to that room. I was staying 2 nights asked for discount on room or a free nights stay or extra points because I'm a member. I never heard back no discount they took my name and number said someone would call me back no one called. Bad customer service very disappointed! Have always had a good experience I have been a member for 15 years, one time 10 years ago there was dog hair in a bed, on the spot they gave me a free room and moved me to a new room, no question that was good customer service! I will never stay at Wilsonville they have no customer service and had to make all kinds of calls to get an answer, whats the problem, and would have to get back to me, I guess they called once and that was it and charged me more for the second night than the first night. No customer service at all! The guest should be taken care of and ask the customer what would make them happy the stay worth while and give it to them. You can make a customer for life or loose them, if its money they worry about, making a customer for life will make you more money. I will never stay at Wilsonville again! There should have been no question, still haven't heard back from them lol...
Great place to stay. We will make best Western our permanent choice to stay while traveling. It was great seeing the breakfast menu. Didn't have chance to enjoy it but will definitely eat breakfast next time. Room was spotless and we stripped beds and gathered trash. We really appreciate the hard work housekeeping put into the room.
This is generally our go-to placebo stay. The rooms are nice and spacious, well equipped. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The pool is great, fitness room is enough. Breakfast is standard fare. Easy access to all of Wilsonville.
The hotel is conveniently located with many choices of restaurant. Large, comfortable, clean rooms. The breakfast was much like this type of hotel, very adequate, maybe a cut above the standard. Staff was very friendly.
We decided to bug out of Seattle and head south on a Monday, even though we didn't leave until after 7:00 p.m. We were able to secure this BW hotel at a very good price, and the check-in process was very easy. We got a suite on the 4th floor, and the room was spacious and well appointed. The cable was Direct TV, and we had a LOT of choices (which we used). We overslept and barely made breakfast, but...there was plenty of food left, and it was quite good. I personally like having working ice machines that deliver a good product (for our morning departure and our cooler) and both of the machines were in good working order with no delivery issue. We didn't get there in time to try the pool, but...it looked pretty good through the door. It is easy on / easy off for the freeway, and parking is simple. Based on what we paid - a very good experience (Note; we were in non-peak summer travelling).
We regularly stay at BW brand hotels because they are usually clean and quiet. On this occasion we were traveling late with our two young kids. We reserved a suite with two beds and got keys. Unfortunately, the room was already occupied by someone else as the door was locked from the inside. We got a “free upgrade” to a non suite with only one bed. The staff was very nice, but we paid for a room with two beds, only got one, and the check in process was very long as we had to go up and down multiple times. Our older child has to sleep on a couch (not a pull out). The room was clean and quiet, but we were definitely concerned about the hotel giving out keys to an occupied room.
This location in Wilsonville Oregon, was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good and the pool and hot tub was clean and operating properly. Both pool and hot tub had the disabled lifts installed and operational which is something I don't see often unfortunately. The room was clean and beds were pretty comfortable. But what I found to be the icing on this cup cake was the outgoing and professional demeanor of the front desk clerk/manager. Unfortunately I didn't get her name but she was absolutely fantabulous. She was a great help to the kids with any questions and always had a smile on her face. I very seldom write reviews but this one has been a pleasure.
We have been going south for 15 years and this is where we stay for our first night on our way to California for the winter. it Is also where we stay when returning to Canada in April. The staff is friendly and the rooms are consistently clean and in working order. It is close to Costco. We generally go to the restaurant , Ram, just across the street. If you want more of a selection, just drive 3 minutes down the road near exit 283
Nice looking property inside and out. Well lit parking lot and front lobby. Very clean with nice landscaping. Room was large and we had a king and a queen separated by a pony wall. Semi private. Bathroom nice sized.
Great value for the money. Good staff, very clean. You will probably need GPS or Google Maps to find it though, since there is a self-storage place next door that shares the color scheme. Otherwise, I totally recommend it.
Couches were not cleaned and did not want to sit on them. In the closet when first arrived had 4 empty bottles of beer. Also the second night of stay the pike for the sink broke and had to switch rooms due to water getting on the floor
7 family members and I traveled to attend a wedding. I reserved 3 rooms for 3 nights. Upon arrival we were told they were short staffed so housekeeping was every other day. That was understandable but we never got any. Went to front desk for new towels. Emptied my own trash when housekeeping did the other side of the hall from my room. The trash by the elevator was overflowing by the time we checked out, having not been emptied the whole time. The carpet is so dirty, I wouldn't let my grandson crawl on it. The rooms were clean altho worn looking at first. Our bathtub dripped constantly, the water waste was immense. My room smelled like stale garlicky cigarette smoke. The other 2 rooms had no odor. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety of foods and was kept clean. It shouldn't have to be said, but some people need to get a plate of food and call it good, not be allowed to camp out and eat all the bacon for the entire breakfast hours. No, I wouldn't want to be the person to say, Hey, haven't you had enough? Please share the bacon and biscuits with the other guests, but geez, be considerate!
Had homeless guy (mean looking and very off) living in conference room on mattress on floor with every thing he most likely owned surrounding him and eating in the breakfast area. Very awkward and creepy. Told management they excuse his staying there. Kept having to remind my kids to stay away from him. Looked really mean and was off. Rooms filthy carpet and in need of serious upgrades. Oh and the parking. Had some taking up Two spaces and management said we had to park in front of next building but we'd have to move by 8am Never got to park in hotel spots cause people who worked there took up those spots and instead of towing those who took up Several spot for one vehicle they just again excuse those saying they tried to get them to move. So little parking. They should have been towed. Won't stay there again. And have couple times Used to love it. Only giving a 1 for location. Close to family
Nice accommodations, clean rooms (2) and a nice breakfast. Will definitely stay again at our next visit. Good wifi as well. Didn't use it but the pool look nice. Good selection of restaurants within walking distance.
The only miss during my stay was that the desk clerk was dealing some issue and I had to wait maybe five minutes for her to return and start the check-in. Check-in itself was seamless. I had a room on the ground floor, which turned out to be great. I heard noises from above and also heard no road noise. The room was steps from the pool, fitness room, breakfast room and parking. Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold items, and dining area was clean. The instant coffee-like substance was passable. The room was comfortable, no light intrusion to speak of, and the internet speed was adequate.
The room was very nice. Loved the jacuzzi. The bath water however wasn't very hot. And the room was dusty. And there was a poop stain in the toilet. And residue on the sink counter by the windows there was also a food residue on carpet in front closet. I sent pictures to front desk and they did nothing I thought I'd get a partial refund or at least compd one night. Very nice staff sweet location.
This is our first stop in the fall when going to California for the winter. It is also our last stop when we are returning home for the spring in BC. Wilsonville Best Western is our favorite spot when we are going through this area for the past 10years
Only chose this hotel because it had pool, hot tub and continental breakfast. Hot tub was not working when we checked in. Next door neighbors had a knock-down fight at 1am so scary I had to get up and double check the locked door and couldn't get back to sleep. Didn't feel safe or like the staff cared.
No hot water in shower - lukewarm at best No soapdish at sink Closet door falling off track Towels are like sandpaper Phone wasn't functioning Beat up furniture - dresser and nightstand looked like purchased at a thrift store Carpet and sofa needed serious cleaning Coffee pot in bathroom??? Seriously? Heater would not shut off Bed was like cement Jet engine fan in bathroom Iron way too high Maneuvering needed to use restroom Remote for TV not working properly
There are two Best Westerns in Wilsonville. Do not stay at this one. The rooms are old, the couch was stained, the comforter was just one blanket in a duvet, with no extra blankets, so cold, etc. They overbooked and wanted me to check in and then check back out again between nights (I left for a different hotel).
What an incredibly awesome staff and facility! Clean, up to date and comfortable. We felt comfortable the moment we walked through the door. Our room was a "corner" room so we had an extra window which made the room feel so much bigger, although it was already HUGE. At no point did we feel that we or or vehicle were not safe
We stayed one night, ended up having to stay in the area again and immediately rebooked the same hotel. Good breakfast, clean, friendly staff. There was a divider wall between the two beds that I have never seen before. Super nice
Stayed two nights. Two miserable nights. Right after our check in. The toilet started running. We tried all the tricks we knew to get it to quit. It didn't. I reported it to the front desk and was informed maintenance doesn't work on the weekends but housekeeping would check it . We were out all day. When we returned we found the toilet continued to run. Reported it again and was told it was looked at and the found no issue…. This will be the second night of no sleep because of the running toilet. The last and final straw was no housekeeping done without a 7 day stay. Had we known ‘this was their policy we would not have stayed at this hotel. This was not on the site when I booked nor were we informed upon check in!
Best Western Wilsonville Inn & Suites Wilsonville Hot air balloon prep 803590141 We needed to stay close to where our sunrise hot air balloon ride was and this Best Western was only a few minutes away. In spite of being next to the freeway, it was one of the most quiet hotels I have stayed in. Facility was very well kept and clean. Bed was comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was very good. There was even lemon infused ice water at the front desk. I have absolutely nothing to complain about!!!
This hotel is conveniently located right off of I-5 in Wilsonville. Hotel was clean and generally quiet during my four night stay. Staff was very polite/friendly and quick to assist with questions. There was a breakfast available each morning that consisted of multiple options to choose from (ex. waffles, sausage, eggs, potatoes, etc…). There is an indoor pool and hot tub that was nice to relax in one of the evenings during the stay. Several dining options are in the area if you're looking to grab a quick bite. Will likely stay here again if traveling through this area in the future.

the room was large and we had a two bed room. it had a room divider wall between the beds . full length mirror . sink was outside of the bathroom . elevator for 4 floors . The carpet had some very large stains and it wasnt pleasent. The room was missing all kinds of things and i had to continely ask for them. i did feel bad for the staff but no comenstion was offered. I had no wash clothes for both nights no shampoo no writing tablet. We had to wait for pool towels at the pool. Tho the pool was nice. The breakfast was pretty good considering the staff shortage. hot eggs hard boiled eggs potato bacon sausage waffles yougurt breads cerels and instant oatmeal . the motel was clean breakfast room was big enough and very busy another good point the AC worked well. Considering the amount of time waiting and running to the front desk i felt there shoud of been a gift card or something .
This hotel is taking advantage of this troubling time period to price gouge. Amenities and service are far below the cost of the stay. Staff is rude and discourteous. Staffing issues prevent appropriate service and minimum amenities advertised by chain.
Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast options were great. Pool and hot tub area was great. Rooms were nice! There are restaurants in walking distance from parking lot. The parking lot is small, so if its a busy weekend, parking may be limited.
This Best Western was mostly the normal hotel experience. Oddly, their were no washcloths in our room, but everything else was fine. The room seemed well cleaned. The staff, however, was exceptionally nice and friendly. Both the night and day staff at the front desk and the lady who manned the breakfast service. I cannot remember the last time I stayed at a hotel with such welcoming and helpful staff! Really above and beyond!
Easy to get to off of the freeway, service desk was great, and I would stay there again when up to OSHU. Now what sucks is that I have to have at least 200characters to make this review go through....
staff was very friendly, room was clean - breakfast was your typical basics, but fine for a couple nights stay. Front desk woman when we checked in was great - breakfast server was very busy, but did a wonderful job.
The Best Western Wilsonville was very convenient to the Aurora State Airport. Easy access from freeway and there is a backroad option to minimize time on the crowded freeway so you only need to enter ramp and travel one exit when going to BW from the airport. Room was large, mattress not too firm or too soft. Front desk very helpful. Dining options within walking distance of BW. Would stay here again if need to stay overnight in Aurora area. Stayed her bc I needed to do personal business at Pacific Coast Avionics.
The only issue I had was the wifi sucked and I couldn't figure out the tv channels to find a specific show oh and the phones don't work and they haven't worked for about a year now I wanna say or at least every time I go in they don't work.. but honestly it's not the staffs fault they honestly made our stay amazing everyone was so nice!
While the hotel and staff were great, the tv in our room was not working properly and my children were unable to use it. The tv was set to demo mode and staff was not able to fix it nor did they have a clue as to how to.
I pretty much only stay at Best Westerns because (from my experience), they're the only Hotel group that has consistent cleanliness and quality no matter where we travel, every single time. This particular location checks every box even the most clean conscious, or comfort minded person could want. I was very impressed with how clean the property and our room were, the staff are very welcoming and friendly and our room; I easily could've stayed there a week and enjoyed a staycation in the peace and comfort. This location is also within walking distance (weather permitting) to quite a few delicious restaurants, shopping, coffee, etc. which makes the stay that much better. If you need a nice place to stay that is much more reasonably priced than others for the same quality, you won't be disappointed here. We'll be back!
My husband and I stayed here for one night while in Oregon. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a couple of small spiders. The breakfast was good. Due to Covid, they have a worker who serves the food for you. It was a good price for a Best Western especially on a holiday weekend. They have a train nearby that can wake you up during the night. Beyond the noisy train, we had a good night sleep.
Excellent customer service, easy to get location, great rate. Plenty of places to dine out close to this location, from coffee shops, grocery and convenience stores, and restaurants and bars. Great place to stay with family.
From the time you walk in until the time you walk out you feel so comfortable in the environment around you. Laura at check-in so friendly so quick to get what you need. Robert the night guy full of info for anything you need to know about the location. And Crystal on your way out makes you want to come back. All in all five stars in my book I can barely wait for the pools to open back up so we can take advantage of the comfortness. All three employees Laura Robert and Crystal made me feel like I was part of their Best Western family thank you for the great job that you are doing.
We enjoyed our 2 night stay during this craziness.. we needed a break from being stuck in the house and this was a great location! Super friendly staff!! Our room was nice and clean. I'll definitely bring using this location again.
I travel a lot for business and usually use a different chain brand. This Best Western, was a pleasant surprise of model Hospitality, Cleanliness and Value during a late winter week in early March. The staff was friendly and bent over backwards to please, even supplying a to-go bag for a missed breakfast. A couple of hours after checkout, I needed a place to do my paperwork and the desk person graciously allowed me to use one of the tables in the Breakfast area to operate my laptop. Overall an excellent experience that I will use again next trip.
This hotel met all my expectations and exceeded in the excellent breakfast. There was an excellent selection including cereal, eggs, both bacon and sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles. Special was the condiments for the oatmeal, brown sugar, walnuts, raisins, etc. The desk staff, housekeeping and maintenance man were all ready to help me with any concerns.
I have stayed here on several occasions in the past three years and have never been disappointed. The staff is friendly and professional. The rooms are well appointed, clean, and have comfortable beds. It's my go to place when I am in the area on buisness.
Room was dirty with feces on toilet and hair in the bed. Talked to hostess and was apologetic but when a return call came in the night hostess was rude and hung up after I left a blanket there and she wanted to charge me $21 to mail it back.
We were greeted quickly and warmly and provided the keys and information we needed for our stay. I liked that the room had a king-size bed and a queen-size bed. The room felt more spacious than many hotel rooms we've stayed in.
Great service, I would recommend this hotel to everyone. My company locks us in with Holiday Inn but at times I go out of bounds. I have always like Best Western for their good service and friendly personnel
Great Staff, friendly and helpful throughout our stay, the pricing for the BW was within our budget. We feel that if you are looking for a place in the greatere Salem Wilsonville this is the best location. Excellent place to stay, the next time that we are in the area, this will be our first choice
We packed the hotel with family and friends for our daughter's wedding, and the amazing staff was so friendly and accommodating. We had a wonderful stay, and really enjoyed the hospitality of both the day and night staff.
Think about which night it is - Christmas everything closes either early or not open at all. Hotel tried to help with food choices Christmas night (Walgreen MW meal), I think that's why we so appreciated the breakfast a bit (10 minutes) early.
Always enjoy our stays there. Any room issues are promptly taken care of, rooms are nice and the staff is friendly. Close proximity to exit 283 with the Ram restaurant just across the street and a Burger King also within walking distance. I felt that the included breakfast was average or better.
As always, this is a wonderful place to stay. Staff are pleasant, helpful, and welcoming. Indoor swimming pool and hot tub are always nice at the end of the day. Several places to choose from for eating out. Breakfast is great too.
Staff were super helpful and friendly and helped me quickly get a room in a crunch! The heater was broken but I did not care because I did not need it at all because the room temperature was quite comfortable in mid December. The room had a fridge and a microwave which was also very clean and useful. Towels were fluffy, clean, and very nice and white. Linen did not have random stray hairs stuck on them which is something that usually really grosses me out in hotels.
We got an upgrade when we checked in as the room we reserved was not ready yet. We got a really nice, big room. Clean. Quiet even for being just off the interstate. Will definitely return and sooner rather than later. Great breakfast
I always have a pleasant experience when staying at this hotel. The staff is very friendly and will do what they can to make your stay the best it can be. Very clean, comfortable beds and within walking distance to some nice restaurants. I look forward to staying here again.
This is a very good location to stay at. There is a staff named angela that will make ur day upon arrival. She is great. The hotel overall is good. Everything works. Breakfast selection is very good. They really strive to make sure ur stay is comfortable. Everything works well in this hotel. Totally recommend this location. Very centralized for shopping.
As a frequent business traveler, Best Western is my go to choice maintaining a consistent standard of service, my home away from home. This location met all the standards - very clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent -many choices, hot, and tasty. Great water pressure, everything worked. Hot tub and pool open until 11.
Very friendly staff great food excellent service and I feel everyone deserves a raise they were great comfortable beds quite didn't hear a sound while sleeping very satisfied with stay swimming pool was clean and safe for all who swim
I was very pleased with the staff and cleanliness of the building. The breakfast was the best one I've had at any hotel as well. I felt like they take great care in making sure their customers enjoy staying there.
Each year we head south and this is a guaranteed stop along the way. It is a friendly place and very clean. The wi-fi is great, the room is spacious and it is relaxing to be here at the end of the day. We also stay at this place on our return home. I think this says it all - to have this pattern for the past 8 years. We go to the restaurant across the street - Ram and has a good selection of food. This time we had salads.
Many family members stayed here for my daughter's wedding. The family loved the area and the hotel. I thought it would be nice if we could gather Sunday morning but didn't have a clear plan in mind. The staff gave us the conference room, set up tables (with linens) and chairs and set out coffee, juice, pastries and muffins. Everything was taken care of by the time I arrived on Sunday. The entire staff were VERY accommodating and I certainly would stay there next time I am in town.
Visited fam in WA and drove down to Woodburn Outlets (OR). Spent the night at this Best Western.Thought noise from street would be much, but didn't hear it at all. Very comfortable bed that allowed a wonderful night's sleep. Convenient location AND yummy breakfast - more options than most.
The rooms are very dated and in need of a very deep cleaning. The carpet is dirty and furnishings are dusty. The bed was very uncomfortable and we were right next to the vending room so it was extremely noisy. In the morning as I was getting out of the shower I saw garbage behind the toilet tank. The room was cleaned but it is the small details that need to be watched. Dust on the fixtures etc.
Was extremely happy with our stay..We felt extremely pampered at an affordable price! Excellent restaurants within walking distance.. We were exhausted, used grub hub and had delicious food within 45min
We had a one night stay after a football game in Corvallis. The room was spacious, the wifi and hot water were great, and a fine breakfast. We will certainly stay here again, as it is clean, convenient, and priced well.
danielle at the front desk was wonderful. she solved all our problems and took hotel staying to a hold new level of comfort. the breakfast that was offered was outstanding, an outside resturant wouldn't offer all that they offered, there was something for everyone.
I just switched my overnight travels with BW Check in was very easy, beds extremely comfortable and the breakfast was better that a restaurant. Its a clean hotel, the internet connects with ease. I'm diffidently a BW fan.
Beautiful, quiet room. Even more than I needed. A room with one smaller bed would really rock for me. Beds are fine, but I would like a softer mattress! Probably just me. The parking seems a little scarce, but I didn't look around the back.
room was excellent and bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was great internet was fast, breakfast was great with good selection of standard items. Room did not have USB but plenty of power stations. Check in and out was fast.
My husband and I were traveling back from Washington to California and stayed exclusively at Best Westerns. The entire chain appears to be upgrading and they are doing a wonderful job. This hotels was clean, modern and the rooms are very spacious. The rates are excellent and it includes breakfast, internet and free parking. As far as free hotel breakfasts go, the Wilsonville BW breakfast was excellent. There was a nice variety and the hot foods included tator tots, scrambled eggs bacon & sausages. The bacon was a good quality and cooked perfectly. The chain also provides a laundry room which I used and the fitness centers are well equipped and utilize different types of workout equipment. This BW has an indoor pool and hot tub. There were restaurants within walking distance which we enjoyed a really nice dinner at Rams a half a block up the street.
When we checked in upon arrival in the afternoon, the receptionist was hyper. Actually followed me back out to my car, when I proceeded to park in their VERY small parking lot. (in one corner of the lot, if someone parked east/west, and then someone parked in the adjacent north/south direction, there is absolutely no way that the east/west car could get out). We did some visitations, then had dinner, then reparked the car in their lot, staying away from that aforementioned corner. Upon check out, my wife, who had placed some things in the car, came back into reception to advise that our rear bumper had been scraped/dented. The receptionist on duty (not the one who checked us in), said, "Oh yeah, the night duty person left a note about that". It was on 3 Post-Its (don't they carry paper?) and said the accident was on tape and that a blue truck had struck our car. We got back with the manager/proprietor of the hotel 3 times, to no avail to get a copy of that video. There goes $500 deductible for "hit and run"!!! Will stay elsewhere when visiting Wilsonville again.
Breakfast was great and filled in timely manner, pool was warm and clean, beds were comfy, room darkening drapes were nice, despite a rather loud baptism party our room was quiet, pillows not to soft not to firm. We were allowed a late checkout as were waiting for our car to be fixed at dealership (unexpected breakdown on freeway), ALL staff was very accommodating!
Nice room, very clean and very helpful staff. The furnishings and linen were all fairly new. I had a couple of issues with a noisy guest and a plumbing issue. Both were resolved to my satisfaction very quickly.
Would recommend the hotel as very clean and comfortable during my recent stay of three weeks. The staff are really friendly and helpful and always greeted with a smile.Only marked down as the breakfast becomes a bit boring when you are on a long stay so recommend the Black Bear nearby if you fancy a change. The rooms are very spacious and are kept immaculately clean by the team at the best western
Front desk staff very efficient, professional and fun. Breakfast was very good with the best sausage patties I've had in a long, long time. Premises were clean inside and out. Everything in room worked as intended. Quiet at night. Very convenient to our activities. Rugs starting to show signs of wear, but still very acceptable.
The front seat lady! Loved her! So positive, and happy. I even called latter to get a copy of my bill. She was again super happy! Would stay again just cause of her. Your maintenance man also was very detailed with painting the curb. I liked the fact he took pride in what he was doing. Very nice and welcoming.
When we booked we thought this was another motel. When we got there we could see it was not what we expected; our fault there. So we checked in, went to our room, and first thing we noticed was the very strong room deodorant in the halls, to the point of gaging. Same in the room. Very strong. They might be trying to cover up dirty carpets, and they were very dirty. Don't take off your socks. And look at the bottom of your socks, as mine got filthy. A bit noisy so close to the freeway. West side of the motel should be quieter, which is why I requested it, but didn't get it. I'm trying to be kind by saying disappointing, but the problem is, we were stuck as other local motels were fully booked, so we could change. I cannot recommend this place, even though others reviewing here have. Maybe they're not fussy; I know, we are.
This newer B/W has quality, clean and modern rooms expected from B/W . Great location and excellent helpful staff. Breakfast, well, it's ok but not quite up to others. When will fake eggs be outlawed? We would stay again, however, due to room quality and staff. Just bypass the" scrambled eggs", or whatever they are. In all fairness, this isn't the only hotel that uses fake eggs.
It's right off of I5 in cozy Wilsonville and is surprisingly awesome. The free breakfast was fantastic each day, hot or cold options available and quickly replenished with fresh ingredients. The room was cozy, and everything worked well (HVAC, tv, elevator, etc). And best of all they allowed us to check-in early. I had to call a day ahead but Trina at the front desk was happy to help. Anyway we will be visiting Oregon in future visits and will for sure be staying at this hotel.
Enjoyed this hotel except for getting locked out of my room since the key entry system or persons entering had issues. I was on the top floor so had to go all the way down to the lobby to report issue and one time there was no front desk person so I stood there and had to wait 15 minutes. On the last day even the cleaning lady's key wouldn't work so we both had to go report issue and get new cards. Very frustrating and inconvenient. I had to skip the breakfast the first day, but treated myself the next morning and had the BEST waffle with eggs & bacon. The pastries didn't look very good, but plenty of other options to satisfy. The King room was very nice & comfortable. Would have been nice to have written instructions in operating the TV remote and channels. Would stay here again, but husband said he won't if the keys don't work!!
Sleeping rooms well designed and beds comfortable with sofa, bar sink, microwave, and refer...only issue I had was a noisy bathroom fan. Front desk staff was exceptional - friendly and very helpful. We had a meeting in the lobby area and desk clerk brewed fresh coffee for us. Free breakfast is OK - nothing outrageous but complementary. Coffee is good!
I really enjoy BW i do travel alone often and ive amways been made to feel VERY Safe Very Clean rooms BW staff addressed any small issues i had and made sure it was exactly what i wanted You cant go wrong with BW I will be staying in BW if it's available
This was my fourth stay at this hotel, and as always everything was great. The rooms were clean, the pool and hot tub were open and good temperatures, and the breakfast had a variety of different items. The location is great as you can easily walk to approximately 12 different food places as well as corner store, liquor store, pharmacy and grocery store. I have recommended this hotel to others and will definitely stay here again when I'm heading to Woodburn outlets.
We reserved two rooms. One room had no problems other than I could connect to the internet only one of our 4 days there. Our second room had a very wet floor and the key would not get us into the room on all 4 days. They re-keyed the room each day and the re-keyed door would not open. The manager had to use her several times to let us in the room. Still had these problems after they changed the batteries in the lock on the first day. They offered no discounts for the troubles that we had. They only issued points for future stays. Not impressed!
gps directions were a little off to find location coming South on HWY 5; but once I got there everybody was very pleasant; easy check in, good parking and close to a state owned liquor store. staff knew right where it was.
everything was a plus service, great breakfast , service , room was clean. if you missed breakfast or any meals, there are several places within walking distance. Bars, restaurants, fast food. Great place to stay!!!!!!
Had a great time, very nice hotel with good staff. Close to stores and freeway, the hot tube was very nice. Also anytime I needed anything the staff was always very helpful. Was on a long business trip and Best Western was the last leg before going home. I am happy that I got to stay there.
Travel to Oregon and need a centrally located hotel to go all four directions during my stay. Also there is two establishments for a beverage right across the street, no driving, and one has OK food. Two very good breakfast and several dinner locations within in one mile. Grocery store etc.
Wonderful place to stay on the weekend. Staff are pleasant, helpful, and always smiling. They always make me feel welcome and accommodate for myself and my family. The kids feel safe with the staff? I recommend this place.
Check In was fast with no hassle. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Beds were uncomfortable. Kids enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was simple & stocked efficiently. Would stay again if the need arises.
The Best Western in Wilsonville was conveniently located - freeway, shopping, and restaurants. The facility is easy to find, and the price was right. The amenities are excellent - WIFI, breakfast, fitness room, and laundry. Rooms were clean, with plenty of linen, and there is a refrigerator in each room. Express check-out with emailed receipts are nice.
I was here for a day. And I enjoyed it, the room is perfect and clean. You will have most of amenities in fact more than needed on a budget price. Indoor pool Breakfast Laundry WiFi TV Iron box Office desk
We stayed here on Thanksgiving so we could Black Friday shop at the Woodburn Outlets Friday morning. This hotel was a short 15 min drive to the outlets. We really enjoyed our stay and the staff was great!
If you can walk about 1/4 (or slightly less), a Starbucks, Walgreens, and a grocery store (Fred Meyer) and within easy distance of this location. There's a small pub across the street, Boone Junction, that worked well for English family to have their evening pint, nicer Ram restaurant is just a few steps further... So this is a doable place for people who aren't driving. Especially convenient to Sherwood and Tualatin where US family lives. I went into the rooms. Perfectly fine, and big! Each room had a little fridge so was able to stock them up with milk for tea, cheese, etc., and other snacks. The hotel has no suites on the back side of the hotel (west side), only regular rooms. But these rooms are good size. The road is a frontage road along I-5 - makes the front side of the street potentially noisier, but they may have good windows to block sound. We didn't use these rooms so unable to report. Overall, a great place for anyone visiting SW Portland area!
The rooms are big and when you stay in the back, the place is very quiet. It is a friendly place and staff are helpful. I was very disappointed with the quality of the breakfast. It is mostly unhealthy - sugary The bar across the street is acceptable and recommended for eating a quick bite in walking distance
I always have a good experience when I stay here. They have friendly staff, comfy rooms, and a hot breakfast. This is my go to place when I'm in the South Portland area. They make a lot of effort to keep their guests safe, too.
The room was beautiful, clean and just big enough that you didn't feel crowded at all. The bed was comfortable, very firm but comfortable. Shower head was nice. Location was fabulous and safe!!! The Ram Restaurant was right across the street and lots of shopping nearby in case you needed anything. Also, a Starbucks right up the street. I will stay here again next time I am in the Portland area. Highly recommend.
To start off, check-in was quick and easy, nothing too complicated. Although, the moment I went into my room...it was not what I expected. It felt like a motel than a hotel, to be honest. I am aware that photos can be deceiving but this is one of the Best Western properties that I am not fond of. Throughout my stay, the bathroom smelled like feet (not sure if there is something moldy in there), but I thought the smell will go away since we had the ventilation on (but it didn't). The beds were not that great, considering that I did not sleep well during my 2 night stay there. One of the challenging thing is that parking is definitely limited. We were told by the Front Desk that we can park at another parking lot BUT we need to move our car before 8am -- I did not think that is fair for us, paying guests. I understand that parking is limited but we should not be punished for not being able to park our car within your property. I had a similar experience at a different hotel, and they let us park someplace that was not a parking spot. Please fix that or figure another way. Sadly, I don't think I will come back here but I do hope there will be some improvements in the near future.
Angela check-in was amazing very friendly very happy like she enjoyed her job. Everything was clean room was just like you would expect from a Best Western Plus. And breakfast was excellent way to start our day.
I had a good experience, although I'm not sure if I would come back. The room was facing the I-5 and still wasn't as noisy as expected, but noisy anyway. Breakfast was ok, facilities were clean and our bed was comfortable. Staff was great 5 stars.
I stayed in this hotel for three nights for a conference at Canby. It was a nice hotel. The only thing I didn't like was the customer service. I left an electric shaver in the room, and didn't find it until I arrived home. It was not an expensive one, but it was significant to me because it was given by a very good friend. I contacted the customer service. They replied late and promised that the local manager would contact me. But nothing has ever happened threnafter.
I've been staying at this hotel for years when visiting family in the area and just recently had a single night reserved that I attempted to cancel the afternoon prior to arrival. After repeated tries to reach the hotel by phone, the hotel refused to accept my cancellation and directed me to cancel online since that's how the reservation was made. After much effort since I was travelling with limited online access, I reached someone at the online organization and they cancelled my reservation with no charges while keeping me on the phone for almost 15 minutes while they interacted with the hotel. While reviewing my bank statement, I discovered that the hotel charged me despite my cancellation being approved with no charges. I have now had numerous phone calls and e-mails with both the hotel and the online organization and the bottom line is that the hotel refused to accept my cancellation request but is insisting on charging me. Choice is launching an investigation to get to the bottom of this and I still don't know if I'll be refunded for a room I was charged for despite cancelling. Any way you look at it, this is abhorrent customer service from this hotel's management. Save yourself the hassle and endless run around and book elsewhere!
Locked out of the house and didn't want to awaken the family I went to theBest Western. Very clean and quiet after a late night I was refreshed for the next day. Would recommend this hotel over the others in Wilsonville.
I was very impressed with our stay for my brothers wedding. Rooms were very clean and comfortable and both Brenda and Angela were so nice and helpful and I was always greeted with a smile! The pool looked very refreshing as well and we tried to take advantage of it but had so little free time with the wedding festivities. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation!
The front desk was busy when we checked in. But finally got my key and as we were unloading the car another clerk came out and said give me your key, I want to give you a better room. That was the best thing that happened. We found the beds to be very hard, almost like laying on the floor, therefore, did not get a good nights sleep. The following morning at breakfast was the worst experience yet. There was no orange juice, bold coffee pot was empty, no eggs in the warmer, never found butter for toast! What's up? I think the worker bee for breakfast was overwhelmed. The day got off to a poor start. Thank goodness down the road we had an unexpected, lovely lunch at a Dennys, who would of guessed??
I'm not sure why this location gets such great reviews. Location? First, let me say how fortunate this hotel is to have Angela at the front desk. She is outstanding and in my opinion, holding this place together. We had a King Deluxe room which still had long black hairs all over the bathroom floor. There was no soap. When we asked about it at front desk, Angela (being a bit embarrassed) confessed they had run out and all rooms had shampoo offered as soap. This sweet lady sent someone (maybe herself?) to get liquid soap for us. At breakfast, there was a rotten orange in the fruit basket and another guest found several small packets of creamer so old they'd molded... It makes you wonder where housekeeping is and if the sheets are really being laundered. I would not recommed staying here nor would I stay again. I hope Angela finds a place more suitable to her.
The location is perfect for my needs, 5-6 minutes to the Aurora airport where I need to go for work from time to time. Only 30 minutes to the Portland airport, too. The rooms are generally quiet, always clean and the beds are always comfortable. The exercise room is adequate for a basic workout. The only downside is that the breakfast, which is included in the cost of the room, is boring, pre-made and repetitive, and not conducive to a multi-day stay because of that. On the bright side, there are a number of good restaurants very close by.
Good location with easy access on and off I5. A variety of stores and restaurants close by. The property is clean and relative quiet. Would ask for room on west side to avoid freeway side if light sleeper. Rooms were large. Breakfast was OK. WIFI was pretty good for a hotel. Workout room was small but not busy. Staff was great and the night shift had coffee for me early which was appreciated. Hotel was sold out each evening, would book before arriving.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel on our way home from a trip, I made the reservations with Angela who was extremely professional, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable! She went out of her way to make us feel very welcomed and appreciated. We will definitely tell our family and friends to stay at this hotel when traveling.
This was a perfect hotel for our stay. Great places to eat close by and also to shop. The freeway was located right by hotel for easy access to get around area so there was some traffic noise during the day, nighttime was pretty quiet. Hotel served a great breakfast in morning everything was fresh and hot. Pool and hot tub worked great. Room was clean and very comfortable, our only issue was not the greatest shower pressure. Overall stay was wonderful, very friendly and helpful staff as well.
Very clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly. The pillow-top beds were very very comfortable so that we had good night sleep. Also, the breakfast was good and especially one of the staff made my son extra bacon strips. Yummy! Overall very good!
I travel weekly for work and I enjoy staying at Best Western hotel's during my travels. They have a good breakfast and the rooms are clean. The Wilsonville Best Western is in a great location close to restaurants and easy access to I5.
A fairly generic hotel that is not close to town or very exciting, but for someone visiting Portland from the south, a decent place to stay without having to fight through traffic. It met my basic needs. Back side of the building away from I-5 has the quietest rooms.
The pros were large room with love seat couch sitting area. Good breakfast for a BW with hot food, large and small yogurt containers and sliced peaches in a cup. Friendly front desk staff. It is a good location, easy on/off from the 5. They had a small indoor pool and gym. There are 2 restaurants across the street. One was pizza, burgers and the other was the Ram. Both were crowded at 5:30 on Fri, I assume popular with the after work crowd. At the end of the block in a strip mall was a Hunan Kitchen where we ate. It was OK Chineese food for on the road. Now for the 3 star rating: There were some safety concerns with hotel. First, the door to the room was missing metal plate in door jam so it was jiggily when closed and could of easily break open with a foot. Second, it was a 4 story hotel and all the stair well doors were left open all of the time. This is a fire hazard, and the sign next to the door indicates that. Third, it was wet outside, and they had a small mat at entrance with a tile floor. We came in from outside and almost slipped on the tile floor after taking one or 2 steps on the mat - like the floor was waxed or something. Someone could have EASILY fallen. We did notify the front desk at check out about the door to the room and she said she would tell maintenance to fix it. These safety concerns can be easily addressed and not sure why they haven't. The place doesn't seem up to BW standards. Our room was on the side facing the freeway and could hear the traffic. I assume it would be much quiter on the back side. Would I stay there again? - only if I had to.
This hotel was a great deal for under a $100. It was just right off the freeway but surprisingly very quiet. I got coffee and breakfast and was right back in the freeway. Nice rooms with good beds too.
Easy and friendly check in. Great location just off I5. I could walk to several restaurants. Room had a short wall between where bed was located and sitting area. Attached to wall was granite counter, bar sink and fridge and microwave too. TV could swivel so you could watch from bed or couch. Nice desk and comfortable chair. Wifi is good too. Breakfast staff was very friendly. Hot breakfast with pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns and biscuits and gravy. Also had cereal, instant oatmeal, yogurt, fruit cups and bread and pastries.
We highly recommend this Best Western. We have stayed here 3 years in a row for Christmas/New Year's and have been very satisfied with our experience. The staff is wonderful, very kind and cheerful. Our grandkids love the pool and the many breakfast options. I'm sure we'll stay there again in the future.
Had a great stay here. Was travelling for most of the day when me and my family got stuck in bumper to bumper traffic for more than 90 minutes in the Portland area. My 4-year old had had enough, so we decided not to try to drive the extra hour to the city where we planned to stay the night and just took the next exit with a hotel. We're so glad the exit was the one next to the Best Western Wilsonville Inn & Suites. The front desk person was friendly and helpful and the room was clean, spacious and quiet. The free breakfast was great and the woman running it was so nice and did a wonderful job of quickly bringing out food and asking folks if there was anything she could help them with. Before we left, she grabbed some stickers for my daughter, which was quite nice of her to do. The person at check out was also quite good as well. All in all a great stay. If I am in the area again I would without question consider staying here again.
Would not recommend this hotel unless it is your last choice. Many issues from booking to check out. Beds not sized properly. Breakfast cold, door broken and repaired with packing tape. Room appeared not to have been vacuumed. Closet door stuck/hard to open.
Had a reservation. Checked into room. When I entered my room, there was luggage already in there. I Ended up getting moved from a quiet 3rd floor room to a first floor across from pool entrance. That kind of was a disappointment but I went along. Rest of stay was fine.
Everything was very comfortable and clean. The staff at breakfast was motivated, and did a great job stocking the items as they ran out. I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Oregon.
The overall appearance of this hotel is satisfactory, but please do not let that persuade you to visit this property. I stay at BW's about 90% of the time I travel, which is often. This particular property did not meet my expectations on multiple levels. Keep in mind, I've only ever left a couple below average reviews of BW properties, and this is one of them. There were a few different issues that arrived during my stay at the Wilsonville BW location. The TV signal was intermittant and made watching TV impossible. I left for work at 6:45AM and returned at 4:30PM, at which time both days my room was never cleaned. I only used the heater during my stay (not the HVAC), and the carpet inside of the room was soaked near the unit. This is a sign of poor sealing, which I am sure if you removed the carpet you would find mold. My worst experience was trying to check my co-worker in a day later than myself and experience a $50/night increase in his room vs mine. After 5-10 minutes explaining how I am a Diamond member and paid $50 less a night, they only offered a $10/decrease. This was extremely wrong of them; especially after I went to BW.com afterwards to check to find out the standard rate for that room was only $101, compared to the $150/night they were requesting. Overall, this was not the absolute worst hotels I've stayed in, but it is down there. I would not recommend staying at this location for your personal or business travels.
The Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Nice to have small kitchen with sink and frig in our room. The bed was very comfortable. They have a nice meeting room that we were able to use for a family/friends gathering for pizza and games. The breakfast is good - but could use some more items.
Nothing to complain about. Very good customer service, nice room for a business trip, great location. Room is larger and nicely decorated. The window opened so I could get fresh air. Did not eat breakfast so I cannot comment on it.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and fresh-smelling, and the location is within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and a Fred Meyer store. This Best Western is a great place to stay!
Beautiful motel, very nice people. It was a very comfortable room and if we are ever in the area we would prefer to stay at this motel. The motel was close to the shopping areas we wanted to visit. It was also close to good restaurants.
The rooms and amenities of this hotel are at least as nice as some "Best Western Plus" properties. My large room was basically a suite. Extra pillows and blankets were available in the closet, although the bed was suitably outfitted already. The staff was pleasant and efficient. It's a lovely property!
The hotel is clean, and well cared for. We stayed for two nights while in town for business. The room is comfortable, and well laid out. Only down side I found was the bedside lamps did not have USB ports. This hotel is well within walking distance to many restaurants and shops.
Nice motel that is right off I-5. The rooms are nice. I have stayed here several times, including when it was a Phoenix inn, before being changed into a BW. The rooms are about the same. The breakfast is not as good. Close to a number of restaurants. Way more food choices than 15 miles another direction.
If you are looking for a "home away from home" while traveling in the Wilsonville area, this is a must stay! The front desk staff are always friendly and will not hesitate to go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The rooms are spacious and the beds extremely comfortable. Nice options for breakfast from hot breakfast to cereal, pastries and fruit. I travel to this area a few times a year and always make sure to stay at Best Western.
The hotel is located literally one block off I5 just south of Portland in Wilsonville. If you are staying here, you are probably doing business in the area or need a quick pit stop for the night. The hotel has a breakfast area with a typical offering: yogurt, eggs, fruit, cereal, muffins etc. Not a bad spread but when I was there the hot food were already gone by 7am. The staff as trying to catch up but no such luck for me. There is also a small but decently set up gym on the first floor. Checkin/check out was quick and the staff were very nice. I had a king room with a small kitchenette and a sofa bed. It was clean and if you are staying toward the back of the hotel (Recommended), it was quiet. There was a bit of a dank/wet smell but it went away with time in the room. There is ample parking and getting to the hotel is fairly straightforward. A 5 minute walk and you have a collection of retail and restaurants ranging from quick fast food to casual dine in establishments.
Very happy with my stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby and very easy to find from the freeway. Even when the hotel was full of people, it was very quiet and easy to sleep. The parking lot is a little small, so if getting there on a weekend later at night may be a little challenging with parking. Overall, the staff were great and highly recommend.
I've stayed in several BWs in this area over time, and this is perhaps the nicest one. Located 10 miles or so South of Portland and 30 miles North of Salem, this motel is located close to I 5. Even so, I barely registered any freeway noise. The hotel is surrounded by pines. There's a Pizza restaurant directly across the street, and a steak/ burger/ brew restaurant just another 50 feet away. Easy walk! Check-in and out was friendly and efficient. My room seemed to be clean. It was spacious and comfortable. I had a good night's sleep and therefore was able to drive on without fatigue. One thing I would absolutely change if I were managing BWs. Fresh clean towels are stored right above the toilet- and there's no cover to the lid. Science has shown that each flush generates droplets upward... right into the towels. So if I don't use one more more of my towels they are left on the rack for the next guest. The next guest gets the previous guest's droplets. Sounds yucky? It is. However, since most motels are still following this practice I won't deduct points at this time. But I really wish motels would store towels out of the pathway of toilet flushes!
Whatever Best Western is doing to build their brand is working! Hotel is very close to I5 just to the west of Wilsonville exit. Entire parking lot is bathed in white LED floodlights. It is rare to find a decent place near Portland for under $100. This property lived up to the fine reviews from other customers. Gentleman at check in was super friendly and gave selected a room on first floor close to the pool. Room very new and spotless. Flat screen TV with more channels ( Dish network) than I had seen in any hotel in many years. Beds comfy- room very quiet even though property is less than a block from freeway. Our kids enjoyed the pool - which just like the parking lot was bathed in white LED lights. The breakfast was much like any other hotel brand in this range- yogurt, cereal, sausage patties, scrambled eggs, pancakes. The big difference- consistent with all the people from check-in, cleaning staff, to the breakfast staff was their smiling faces and helpfulness. We confused the weekday breakfast time with the weekend time- so walked in just as Amanda was putting away the breakfast bar food. I explained our confusion- she saw my boys were hungry- asked them what they wanted and brought them plates of items they requested. Above and beyond! Thanks. Internet wired and wireless fast enough for emails and web surfing. Hotel location is excellent , close to Portland but without all the extra traffic and headache. Within a block of hotel one can walk to a sushi restaurant, fast food, or 7-11.
Angela, the girl at the front desk, was absolutely phenomenal and her service her friendliness. There are no words to explain how this woman went above and beyond what she needed to do to make our stay Pleasant.
We came to the hotel to visit family and we were worried about staying at a nice hotel in Wilsonville. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived from a long day of driving to the nicest hostess ever Angela was incredible. She asked how our drive was and was genuinely interested and genuinely caring. it was such a refreshing way to begin our hotel stay. The rooms were nice and clean and well worth the money we spent but the highlight of our trip truly was Angela
The hotel and room was clean. Easy check-in/check-out. Very good service, not canned. Big continental breakfast with weird automatic pancake making machine. Comfortable beds with lots of pillows. Our room had a privacy wall between beds, which would be nice for families or shared business travel. Quiet rooms. Easy parking. Easy to find.
Highly recommend this hotel for the service alone. Friendly staff that went out of their way to fix the problems that came up. The satellite TV was very confusing but they showed me how to use it. The fridge froze my rice milk since it had no cold control dial. The front desk was very apologetic and said they would replace it. In the meantime they put my food in a fridge in the kitchen so I was able to have breakfast the next day and keep my sack lunch cool. Every hotel can have problems but how they fix them makes all the difference. The staff here was fantastic! If you can, reserve a King Suite since it is very roomy: sofa, coffee table, office chair and desk, kitchenette area with a deep sink, microwave and small fridge---all separated from the bed area by a half wall. I was visiting friends so having a place to hang out before they came by to pick me up was great! One of the best features about the room if you aren't traveling solo is that the bathroom sink and large counter is available for multiple people to use since it is in the bed area rather than in the bathroom. The sleeping area had two nightstands big enough for a CPAP machine as well as a small dresser and pillow-top bed. The bed was a disappointment because it was extra firm despite the soft top--might be great for some but I was really hurting when I got up. Fortunately they have a small but wonderfully warm swimming pool that is perfect for exercising. They offer breakfast but it is nothing to write home about: standard offerings in warming trays but no waffles or cooked oatmeal. Fortunately the location is convenient since it is close to a large grocery store and small restaurants as well as easy access to the freeway. Even though I could see the freeway from the window, I couldn't hear it! I definitely would recommend this hotel for both business customers and families.
Driving from San Francisco to Seattle, this was a nice place to stop that was short of Portland traffic. Stores, park, restaurants, river, river park, all close by. Caught smallmouth at the river on one trip.
The staff is very pleasant. The rooms are clean. There is noting special about this Best Western. The breakfast still has something to desire. the pancake maker was broke, there are no eggs. The Sausage was hard to cut. If you take away the breakfast everything else is good.
We booked this room that very morning after making a decision to get past the congestion of two major cities in the Northwest. There was very little room left and yet when we got there we were welcomed and helped. This was very nice after a long drive. Finding the place was a bit difficult in the dark, but find it we did.
The staff are awesome, always trying to be helpful and meet the needs of each person. Breakfast is warm, tasty, with a wide variety to choose from. Leslie is always making sure the choices are warm, available and not letting food and supplies run out. The front desk staff are wonderful and available for any requests. Easy access to and from interstate, with a lot of shopping choices near by. Restaraunt within walking distance.
This Hotel was close to the outlet mall. We had an easy stopover to the coast. The staff recommended great places to eat. The Breakfast was just enough to get us on the road for the rest of our travels.
We go to Canby every year for OFFF and stay at this hotel. WE find it to usually be very good. Rooms are good with no problems, breakfast is good, except that there were items above our reach. (We are short-under 5 feet.) Service was excellent.
Of the choices in Wilsonville, this hotel is probably the best, if one wants the continental breakfast. I fail to understand why the rooms are so expensive in Wilsonville, however. I stayed four nights and the bedding was not changed during that time. Okay, but they should have advised. Good TV and channels. Room very clean, with exception of carpet, and comfortable. Typical breakfast and the area was kept clean. Desk personnel was standoffish, doing only what was absolutely required.
I like to stay at this Best Western because of its location. There are lots of services nearby. The beds are great. The staff is friendly, professional, and deal with problems quickly. Good breakfast.
Very pleasant front desk agent! Easy check in! Never been here before but would stay again! Just passing through heading home back to Canada from San Francisco!Great breakfast:) great beds! Close to everything!
Clean, Comfortable, Friendly, would stay again if in the area. Close to good food and retail if needed, was nice and fast check in. The coffee was ok for being in room and the bed was one of the better ones I have stayed in recently.
it would have been a nice experience but house keeping staff is dishonest. i firmly believed that they found my mom"s jewelries and did not turn it in. i'm it would probably the same regardless of hotel we stayed. There is no such thing as honest people in this world anymore. Well, what comes around, goes around. Karma will take care of it.
The staff were courteous and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect and parking was easy access to our room. It was a relaxing and enjoyable stay, I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
We had a very nice stay celebrating our daughters birthday. The hotel was very nice and convenient, we will definitely stay again. The room was really clean, the hotel was quiet too. Breakfast was great! So close to downtown Portland, easy access to the freeways.
We have stayed here before when in the area. We had a first floor double queen in the back away from the freeway. They have great fast internet and lots of plugins for our electronics. They have a 48" TV and lots of channels w/HBO, we found our fav football game and were content. It was quiet and comfortable. Their AC didn't even have to be fiddled with the whole time we were there. Bathroom was great with separate double sinks and lots of counter space, but the fan was noisy. They have some issues with batteries in their small electronics. The remote kept saying the batteries were low overtime we pressed a button. I asked at the front desk but they were busy and it never was resolved. Fortunately it never quit working. Also the clock radio on the nightstand started beeping at bedtime, the light for the battery was flashing. I didn't want to have to deal with it so we unplugged it and placed it under towel in the bathroom so we couldn't hear the beep all night. The free breakfast had a lot of choices. I liked that they had greek yogurt. They have a the usual continental affair with a pancake machine, scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage, biscuits and gravy. All in all a great night's stay and I would recommend staying here if in the area.
good place to stop prior to fighting traffic in portland, oregon. very large rooms. even though close to interstate did not hear any traffic noise. breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, sausage, new potatoes, gravy, pancakes instant oatmeal. apples and oranges
We discovered Wilsonville because we were on our way between McMinnville and the Swan Island dahlia festival, and didn't want to stay in Portland. The accommodation was comfortable, and quiet, even though it was near the freeway. I would definitely recommend as an affordable alternative to staying in Portland for nearby events.
Wife and I stayed here over night before catching plane next day. Place is clean, attractive and reasonably priced. Robert the guy at front desk is super customer service guy. Very helpful and pleasant.
After driving from Port Angeles through Portland's horrible traffic , we wanted to stay somewhere between Portland and Salem, OR. There, just off the freeway, was a most inviting looking Best Western Inn. There is thankfully for tired travelers an elevator and a most impressive suite with an amazing king bed with a down mattress cover; ah, the wonderful sleep we looked forward to. The excellent pool and spa were just what I needed after that Portland traffic. Breakfast the next morning was served in a large dining room and included scrambled eggs and sausage - most delicious! We paid a bit more than I had planned, but the quality of this inn was worth it.
Rooms were clean, organized and plenty of towels. Front desk was attentive and responsive, professional and made sure we were settled. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Pool and hot tub were clean and enjoyed w my daughter Breakfast was common hotel breakfast
This is my favorite best western hotel. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. I always stay here when I am near Portland. I would recommend this hotel to my friends. The grounds are beautiful, and is very close to the freeway which is easy on easy off for me .
We didn't get to spend a whole lot of time here, just a one night stop, but it was soo nice to finally see after a long day of traveling the Pacific Coast Highway, stopping at the beach, driving through the amazing Redwood National Forest and lots and lots of construction. We didn't get to the hotel until just about 10 pm but the staff were helpful, check in and out was quick. They even had some toothpaste for us since we had run out and had not had the chance to stop and get some more on our drive. Our room featured a King and Queen bed and was nice and up-to-date. The hotel is away from all the hustle and bustle of the big city Portland but had a couple of nearby restaurants. We ran over to one to get some food and it was great! We were too tired to try the pool or workout room I'm afraid but breakfast the next morning was good - hot and cold items and perfect for getting us up and ready to go on the next leg of our trip. I would definitely stay here again (hopefully for a bit longer this time)
I was dropping my daughter off at college and stayed at this BW and it is much nicer than the one in Newberg where my daughter attends school. I will stay at this hotel 30 minutes away when we visit rather than the one 2 minutes from her apartment because it is that much nicer. It smelled good, not a hotel smell. It was very clean.
This was exactly what we needed. A place to stay outside of Portland. It is located right off the I5. It had a pool that the kids to enjoyed both before bed and in the morning. Its close to restaurants. Comfortable bed for the night.
Have used this facility several times in the past and each time we stayed, we always have a pleasant experience. Staff are friendly, helpful and always have a friendly smile. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, sheets and towels are pearl white. One small complain, the water pressure for the shower are not as powerful. Otherwise, our stay is always A1.
This is probably the nicest Best Western I've ever stayed in. Everyone was very friendly, and all had smiles. The rooms were updated, and very comfortable. The location was conveniently located to where we were going during the weekend. Super easy access to I-5. I will definitely stay there again if I make it that way. Thank you!
The room was spotless and the beds we're comfy. The pool was warm and clean, we had a great time swimming with the grandson. Cookies at night and a great breakfast in the morning. We will be back. Staff is amazing. Close to shopping and restaurants.
The location was close to services but far enough out of the way it was quiet with very little traffic. The room was spacious and provided plenty of space to relax with the family. The staff was friendly and helpful. We used the laundry service that was convenientlyocated. We recommend this Best Western and plan to stay here again on our next visit to Wilsonville
There was glasses left in our room when we arrived, room showed some wear, and our keys stopped working at night time making us have to go out of our way to get back in. Pool was warm, hot tub was way too hot. Beds were comfortable, and there is a lot of food near by for easy access.
This hotel is easy to get to from I-5, close to great restaurants and shopping and Memorial Park for walks in the woods. The hotel is at the end of a cul-de-sac so very little traffic sounds. The staff was friendly, especially Dave the grounds keeper/maintenance/handy man. Always had a smile for whoever walked by.
Our family of four loved the king/queen suite, cleanliness, breakfast buffet, easy access to the Wilsonville Transit Center & restaurants/merchants; excellent value for our budget conscious road trip. Wonderful staff!
We were accommodated a very early (11:30AM) upon arriving. Room and premesis were very clean. Breakfast of eggs, biscuits and gravy, bacon, potatoes and pancakes was good. Friendly staff. I would certainly stay here again.
this hotel was not worth the money, ruined whole trip unreliable wakeup calls, should had in woodburn,or for abetter valve.what would you want me to say tear it down, lousy, lousy, lousy, not worth the money, not worth the money
This hotel was comfortable and clean for our 1 night stay. Even though it is very close to the freeway (I5) the rooms are very quiet. Staff were welcoming and considerate. A wide range of prices paid by the group of people I was with so watch all websites for the best deal.
Pros at the front desk, nice property, good breakfast selections and very reasonably priced! Check in and check out was easy and quick. The rooms are clean, decorated in a classic style, and the beds were very comfortable.
Wonderful place to stay, rooms are quiet smell fresh, and great, staff are great, and breakfast room pleasant with a nice variety of breakfast foods. Breakfast room attendant always making sure food is fresh, warm, and has a pleasant appearance. We all enjoy the pool and hot tub. Close to restaurants, shopping, fun center, and Portland.
I stayed at this hotel to be near the VA Hospital where my husband was having open heart surgery. The front desk clerk on duty two mornings was caring and sensitive and made my stay there memorable. The hotel is easily accessible to the freeway and good nearby variety of places to eat.
This BW is conveniently located, within walking distance of restaurants, drugstore and grocery story. The beds were especially comfortable. Wonderful mattresses! The staff at the front desk along with the housekeeping staff are very welcoming and professional. Very nice stay for the month that we had to stay waiting on a move into our new home.
If you are traveling to Wilsonville, OR and looking for a hotel with friendly service, good food and comfortable and appealing rooms; then be sure to stay at the Best Western! Conveniently located right off the highway and close to many great restaurants.
Our stay at the best Western was phenomenal. But check in staff, especially Angela and Kayla, or delightful and helpful. No later than 15 minutes after we got to our room, we were receiving a phone call making sure that we had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast. We were expecting a continental breakfast, but this was full-service with eggs and bacon and sausage and a variety of drinks. The staff kept it stocked The whole time we were there. I never ran out of coffee which is a plus for us. The dining area is small and was busy. But you wouldn't have known they were any other hotel guest there, it was very quiet ordering our whole trip. We will stay here when we are in the area again. The pillows were comfortable and each had four on each bed, but the mattresses were firmer than I prefer.
Eggs, potatoes, sausage were cold and orange juice was watered down. Only hot item was pancakes we made with machine. We stood at reception desk a good 5 minutes before being helped. One person on phone ,other chatting with housekeepers. A simple acknowledgement would have been good instead of completely ignoring us. Just bad service. Never experienced this before at a BW property. We travel a lot and this was a surprise for a BW property.
Called late at night, still had a nice room for a rewards member. Room was very nice, bed was comfy, breakfast was excellent with many choices of beverage and food. I would definitely stay and recommend to anyone wanting a good stay in Wilsonville.
Enjoyed stay and staff went above and beyond. Very comfortable room from the A/c and heating to the beds. Location was perfect, close enough for all the amenities yet not right in downtown busy ness. Will be staying here again in future.
I booked they hotel for my father, who is also my business partner. In the special request i put 'Please put a picture of a velociraptor that is saying "Hi Bruce, I've been waiting for you." under the sheet peaking out.' They for filled this request and boy did we all have a good laugh. My dad runs around our restaurant like he is a velociraptor to make all the staff laugh. The picture is now hanging on the front of our bar in eastern Oregon. Thanks for the laughs!
The staff was welcoming and accommodating. We stayed in the King suite, with 1 King and 1 Queen separated by a half wall. It gave us enough privacy and plenty of space for 3 of us. Room was quiet and clean. Bed was a little firmer than what I'm used to but still comfortable. Internet connection was fast. Breakfast was typical of a continental breakfast but no complaints.
Great little hotel with everything I needed for a quick overnight business stay. Very professional and helpful staff at all times. Was running late in the morning so staff suggested and gave me a breakfast bag to go. Saved my morning. Will definitely stay here again.
Room maintenance was terrible. It is a fire hazard because of poor electrical plugs. Almost impossible to work tv because of hanging the cable/modeum on the back of the tv. Toilet, drains and water controls are broke, plugged or just plain wrong.
Great place to stay while in Wilsonville. It is close to plenty of restaurants and shopping. The swimming pool area has been refreshed and it looks fantastic! The staff there are always friendly, professional, and helpful. I always enjoy my stay there.
This hotel is in a great area, and access. Hotel is located close to the freeway, which is nice when you are having to travel in a metro area, making travel easy. Hotel has good staff, and nice rooms. Easy check in and check out.
Try to stay here when visiting family. It is convenient to eating, shopping and visiting the wine country. The hotel itself is clean the rooms area comfortable and the staff extremely helpful. The internet is nice addition.
The location is a quick on-off I-5. Room was comfortable and clean. Appears hotel/rooms have been upgraded. Had difficulties with the tv. Someone came almost immediately to sort out the problem. We were on the freeway side. Didn't hear much probably due to the double windows. Appreciate having the fridge and microwave in our room.
Average hotel along the highway, with decent sized rooms and simple breakfast included in the rate. I wasn't really impressed, but at the same time i didn't need much for a stop of some hours during my trip. There are a couple of restaurants nearby if you want to take a walk. All in all, averagely good.
Great place to stay in Wilsonville. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable, staff was friendly...breakfast wasn't near what a lot of BW are...but overall, this was a very nice place to stay. Thank you
The hotel meet the usual high standard of Best Western that is suitable for a family with small kids. The hotel seems undergone recent renovation. The room is clean and quiet, the breakfast has good variety (only pan cake, no waffle though), internet connection is fast. The location is only 18 min to Woodburn Outlet and 15 min to Tigard where we can find our favourite Red Lobster Restaurant and Nordstorm Rack. It is close to downtown Portland too. The only down side is the indoor swimming pool is under renovation as of Mid March 2017 but the staff was very nice and advised us right at the time of check in and provided us the options including looking for another Best Western nearby.
This is a fantastic place to stay. My grandkids and I enjoy our stay every time. The staff are pleasant and welcoming. The breakfast has a wide variety to select from, is always warm and tastes good. The kids enjoy having biscuits and Gravy or pancakes, whole I enjoy the simple English muffin , tea, and juice. We all enjoy swimming, my favorite is the hot tub. Donna always has a smile when she welcomes the guests and Maria keeps the rooms looking nice and clean. We look forward to returning to this motel.
We had two rooms here for our annual family shopping trip. One room was a king and the other was a king and queen suite. The hotel has great freeway access but no freeway noise. Both ladies that helped us at the front desk were friendly and professional. Lobby, dining area, pool area and rooms were clean and furnishings were new. We had a comfortable bed and nice breakfast. This will be our first choice for next year's trip.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. We enjoyed the many options at breakfast as well. Would stay again! Loved the view of the beautiful fall colors as well. Just DO NOT BOOK THROUGH TRIP ADVISOR! I paid an extra $28 compared to what the hotel would have charged me, buyer beware.
A good BW, clean, comfortable bed, usual amenities and breakfast. Good indoor pool and hot tub. Reasonable price. Easy access from I 5. Pleasant and efficient staff. Nothing exceptional or bad, just a solid choice to break a trip.
Easy access to freeway, shopping and restaurants. My company hosted two meetings at this hotel and we were very satisfied with the outcome, available meeting supplies and staff support. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, good breakfast and courteous staff. I will stay there again.
We came to BestWestern Wilsonville for the 2nd time and wish to thank Donna who was both times in the reception giving us a great home even when so far from home. We liked our 218 room, nice breakfast and like Donna' great smile, assistance and attitude. 3 minutes walk good chinese food and japaneese is great but clised sundays.
Great hotel to stay at. It is very close to my business clients and lots of dining within 5 minutes of driving. The ladies at the hotel are always smiling and very helpful. It is a pleasure to stay there as I can count on great service every time.
Though very difficult to find because of inadequate signage, the hotel was comfortable and our room quiet. Food as usual at BW Hotels, was quite "plastic" and did not have the quality of food to which we are accustomed . The receptionist was very friendly and positive
This hotel had everything my girlfriend and I were looking for. The room was VERY clean, spacious, quiet, newly remodeled and all amenities were supplied. The staff was exceptional! We were greeted each time we arrived. Also willing to make accommodations when needed. The breakfast was also great! So many options to choose from, unlike most hotel's breakfast (Rosemary potatoes (so good), biscuits and gravy, fruit, sausage, muffins, etc). The hotel was a great break from the city but also not too far. It was the perfect stay and we will definitely be back!
I travel often for business, and this is one of the best places to stay in Wilsonville. The staff is always helpful and I like the breakfast. I have used the workout room and hot tub, both are great and meet my needs.
The wife and I were returning home from a road trip. I had reached the point where I couldn't go any further, so we pulled off the road and there was the hotel. The hotel was very nice. We had a very nice room. The price was right. The only downside was the parking, it was a little strange.
The hotel was perfect for us. It is very close to the highway yet you can't hear it from your room. The rooms were very clean and neat. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were a big hit with the kids and parents. It is really close to anything you might need. Walking distance to 7-eleven, baskin robbins and restaurants. And most importantly the staff was awesome. They were very friendly when we first visited while we were looking to buy a house in the area. And even when we moved into our house our printer wasn't working and they let me print up my sons medical release forms for him to start soccer when I had a day to figure that out. They have gone out of their way. Just really nice people. I highly recommend this hotel. If you want to stay where there are simply "good people" working you'll want to stay here.
Everyone is extremely nice and welcoming. It seemed like a hectic weekend for the hotel but anything I needed was taken care of. Afternoon cookies are the best!! And breakfast was great. Thank you for the great stay we will be back again very soon.
Outside of the hotel looks great as does the lobby. Swimming pool was nice as well, but I did not have the same experience as other recent reviews. We were there for two nights with my in-laws (seperate room). When I booked the rooms I asked for the rooms to be close together, we were on the 4th floor, my in-laws were on the 2nd. Their AC unit did not work the first night and could not move due to the fullness of the hotel. My room had a small piece of peeling wallpaper behind a curtain and behind the sink. Otherwise the room was fine. The beds were comfy and my family slept well. Breakfast was another thing altogether. On the first day, there were almost no hot items. The only thing that the attendant kept filed was the biscuits and eggs. The pancake machine had to be refilled twice (batter only makes 12) and there were already people waiting to eat them so waiting was not fun. The breakfast are was full and we had to wait for seating. Also, when we left, about a half hour, the potatoes had barely been refilled, and the sausage never was. On the second day, when I when down by myself (my kids did not want to wait there again) early than the previous day, everything was there but it was not busy. My mother-in-law stated that when she went down later, the same problem of refilling stations happened again, this time, the fridge did not get resupplied either. I have never had that problem at any other BW hotel and I try to stay in BW hotels wherever I go. Last, there was a spill in the elevator the second night, some kind of juice. It was still there in the morning when I went to breakfast. At checkout, I had to wait for the hostess to get back from helping another guest(?), at least that's what the sign on the counter said. I brought the food issue up with her and she said that the help in there was temporary and that hopefully by the time I stay there again, it will be running smoothly. I don't plan on staying again if I can help it, but the price was the lowest of the BWs in the area, so I may give it another chance if others are full.
It was a wonderful experience. There were several great restaurants in walking distance. The employees at the hotel were all friendly, helpful and kind. The hotel was clean, breakfast was delicious with a good variety, and our room was large and the bed was very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.
After a 10 hour drive-the staff was very helpful. Traveling with two small children, I felt the staff went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. The pool was a wonderful way to start the morning off, before we got in the car for another 6 hour drive. I love the convenience of this location, it is right off the freeway, plus there is several food choices and grocery store with a couple of blocks. I feel safe in this area with my children and when walking the dog in the middle of the night. Thank you for a great night stay!
These people were warm and kind to us the Manger carol, lacey at front desk were awesome and compassionate about customer service. Warm and tasty breakfast was warm and tasty. Housekeeping was accommodating and quick
Very clean and comfortable hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Centrally located. Walked across the street for dinner and drinks at The Ram. Very friendly community. I would definitely stay here again. I do think the rate was a bit too high.
I hadn't planned on going back to Oregon so soon after the last trip. Lucky me, Best Western had one room left. Like it was meant to be. Had 2 grandchildren with me this time and they sure enjoyed the pool. And breakfast. Neither wanted to leave.
For the money this is a great place to stay. The staff is nice and friendly. The pool, spa and other ammenities are great to use. The breakfast is fresh, and there are several options. This was my second time to stay at this hotel, and I will most likely be staying here again in the future.
Super clean room and friendly front desk staff! We stayed in room 107 which has a king bed and a queen bed. Beds were nothing spectacular but not broken down and pretty firm. The indoor swimming pool was a hit with the kids and a fairly typical continental breakfast is offered.
This hotel is right off of Hwy 5 - The staff was very cheerful and helpful. The room was spacious and I like that the sink is outside of the toilet and shower room. The breakfast was great and the whole place was very clean.
Everyone working there was polite and helpful. They went out of their way to help us. They offered to di things for us that would be beyond their job description. They were also very familiar with the area and could make suggestions,
While the hotel is located right next to I-5, the building is constructed in such a manner that there is very little noise distractions from the very busy interstate. The building and rooms are very appealing and make for a very nice and peaceful place to stay.
Facility was acceptable and room was clean. however there was a issue with TV/Remote that required maintenance to arrive and repair. the following morning, shower drain did not drain properly, desk staff were advised at check out
All in all a good stay. Bed was awesome. Ice maker did not work on my floor or another. Hit paydirt on the third try. I would stay again. Breakfast was a pretty standard BW fare. Quiet. I would stay again.
A little on the pricey side considering Salem is substantially less, but it is a very quiet hotel, even being so close to the freeway! It was a great stay and the Ram restaurant across the street was awesome!!
We experienced very friend and helpful staff through out our entire stay period. Pool was warm and hot tub was great. Breakfast had a nice variety of foods and drinks. Arrival time cookie and cold lemon water was refreshing and much needed after a long day of travel.
Clean hotel with easy I-5 access. Hotel was very clean with a courteous, helpful staff. Great meeting room for business meetings or larger groups. Staff makes you feel like you are their only guest...Customer Service is Top Priority! You won't be disappointed!
Nice friendly staff. Cool little exercise room. Big breakfast. Close to lots of shops. Right off the freeway. Safe area. I have not had any issues while staying here and I have used this location many times.
We had been on the raod 12 hours and decided to stop. We have heard good things about Best Western hotels so we decided to try it. The desk clerk was friendy and attentive. The room was beautiful, a king bed that was actually a king, a bit hard for me but over all i had a good night sleep. The pillows are mini pillows, but oh well bring your own. The area is quiet. Large TV and a mini kitchen. The breakfast is your typical continental breakfast. I will stay here again.
I have never stayed in such a welcoming place, the front desk clerk, I believe it was Donna? She was an amazing help and made sure we had everything we needed, including fresh baked cookies and complimentary bottled water; very refreshing on a hot summer day. I have previously stayed at another hotel in the area, The La Quinta, and I would choose this Best Western over that hotel any day. Their amazing customer service blows La Quinta out of the park. Not to mention, the breakfast items were of all varieties, oatmeal, eggs and bacon, biscuits and gravy, even a waffle maker with syrup and strawberries. Not to mention the room was beautiful, little to no noise from the freeway, we even stayed in a room looking straight at the freeway, and I have never stayed in a quieter hotel. Housekeeping was very sweet and helpful, even gave us a few extra towels for the kiddos. I believe the young lady that cleaned our room was Helen? Never seen a cleaner room. Left the room a disaster, I apologize, (I blame the children) and when we came back from the pool, the room looked brand new. I may be wrong with the names but she was a very sweet and helpful young lady, and I plan on always staying at this Best Western every time we visit. By far my favorite hotel in the area.
This Best Western is nothing fancy. The room was regular size and the bathroom small. There were signs of wear such as scratches on the furniture. The room had a mini fridge, microwave, ironing board, free Wi Fi. Breakfast was the standard fare. If you're looking for an economy comfortable place to sleep, then this is o.k. We paid $161.28 total for a room with 1 king and 1 queen bed.
Super awesome staff. ....knowledgeable and always there to help..Great place to stay ..everything is nearby..downtown or beautiful farm country..pick your direction!! Cannon beach was a blast.saturday market, awesome.
quiet, comfortable room. for staying near the freeway, we did not hear any of the cars. Had a very spacious, quiet room at the rear of the hotel. Were able to walk across the street to a nice restauarant for dinner. Would stay here again.
100% in every way. Friendly staff that is always willing to lend a hand...great rooms that are set up well. Exeptionally clean rooms as well. I am never disappointed staying here. If your looking for a nice clean hotel with amazing staff and clean rooms...this is it. They even bake fresh cookies daily for the guests.
We stayed here for three nights while the motorhome was being worked on. Great location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Rooms are spacious with big flat screen, fridge and microwave. Hot breakfast was ok... scrambled eggs, frozen patty type hashbrowns, link sausage, waffles and the usual cold fare.
We've definitely had better breakfast, but the selection huge, one reason it wasn't as good as others was the lack of supply on a few things. Limited eggs, sausage patties, and hot chocolate, which all ran out. I think everything was probably cooked in the microwave so the bacon and hash brown patties were meh. Sausage links were good, waffles, biscuits and gravy, salsa, cheese, and yogurt were good. The fruit selection was down to red apples and some peach cups. Fruit loops, Cheerios, and Raisin Bran, with only whole milk option. Oatmeal, juice, coffee, bagels, mini muffins, Danishes, and English muffins. They had peanut butter and jelly, so I got PB for my strawberry flavored waffle, which had a mild but good flavor. They also have brown sugar, walnuts and raisins for oatmeal. They had half and half and vanilla creamer cups. The pool is average size and is heated and indoors- we planned to swim while Mr took his exam, and this place did the trick. They allowed us to check out late to work with his schedule, but the hot tub is out of service... Towels and plenty of chairs in the pool area. Public restrooms just outside as well, which is nice, especially with small 'nes. All of the employees were so kind and all seemed to be willing to focus on putting what we needed or wanted first. Extra blankets and towels. The cart to get suitcases to the car, even the maintenance crew was willing to help if we needed anything. Very professional and attentive to guests. I would stay there again. I would bring my kids again- it was a pleasant area. The price is par for the service received. I would recommend getting enough extra blankets ahead of sleeping, I didn't realize it would be cool until I was too asleep to ask for more.
Close lodging while visiting the SpringRidge retirement center. They said they had a discount for this visiting the retirement center, but didn't. No traffic noise, near shopping, clean room, weren't there very long. Good bed.
It was our first time staying at this Best Western. The location is very convenient. The hotel was clean and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. It's nice that they include breakfast and cookies at night. We especially liked the double sink vanity outside of the toilet/bathroom. My only suggestion is that the lighting could have been brighter inside the room. We will be returning again.
I chose Best Western in Wilsonville, OR. as it is close to I-5 and I could hop on the freeway in which ever direction I needed to go, so it's location was important to me. Eateries were close by and stores were as well. Even though it was close to the freeway, the room was quiet, no freeway noise. Hot tub was a blessing on my aching back.
Your hotel is clean, comfortable. i've stayed here before and always look forward to coming back. The staff is nice and the breakfast is great. The internet is quick. And it's within walking distance of a yummy steakhouse. It's located within easy access to the freeway. I'll be back!
Good: good breakfast buffet with a lot of choices, king bed queen bed combo room which was great for our family of 4. Disappointing: water pressure in the shower was horrible, hot tub was cold both days (colder than the pool) and when I told the staff it didn't seem to be addressed, bathrooms near the pool were dirty and completely out of paper towels and toilet paper. One of the noisier places I have stayed, able to hear people in rooms above and next to you, people walking by.
A great, easy stop on our way home from Disneyland. After several hours in the car, a couple antsy girls were ready to swim. Usually I would watch from the chairs, but I joined them for an hour before I even considered the hot-tub. The hotel, overall, was clean, comfortable and staff was friendly. Our beds were very comfortable and the towels were thick (I love that)! We stayed a Saturday night, and the area was quiet and felt safe.
Nice place, nice bed, nice atmosphere, safe location! Other than a few nose buggers on the cloth shower curtains, great stay! Everything was very clean and set very nice. Staff was helpful courteous and very well dressed. The location was perfect and obviously a very secure crime free area! Thanks
The convenience and quality of this hotel is hard to beat. Very quiet place to stay. lots of variety for breakfast items. Rooms clean and very comfortable. Hot tub was not hot but other than that I like being able to hop on the I5 freeway so easily. There are two restaurants across the street for convenience.
This is my first stay at this hotel and I will definitely be back. Hotel has been recently remodeled and basically appears to be brand new. Good size, will appointed guest rooms. Friendly staff, good breakfast in the morning. Good workout facility on site. It is a pleasure to find a hotel workout room where the equipment actually works the way it is supposed to. Good location, close to restaurants and shopping.
I felt like the room was dirtier than a hotel room should be. Especially for the dirtiest room to be the bathroom. The floor looked like it hadn't been mopped, the tub on the outside was filthy, the light switch appeared to not have been cleaned for awhile, spider webs. I was just appalled at was was not cleaned in the bathroom of all places. And if the bathroom was cleaned appropriately, it made me think what else was not cleaned. Also, i could literally hear everything around me. I was able to hear when someone got out of bed, walked from one end of the room to the next. It probably kept me up a good two hours. When I finally got to sleep, I was woke back up by a loud thump, and continued to hear walking.
Best check in ever, Finally got to use some points. Upon check in I was offered free room with points redeemed without even asking!!! Carol you are the Best!!! Also did not know that BW has special rates for visiting family that are hospitalized. So kind and thoughtful.
Good location, just off freeway yet quiet, close enough to Portland to attend shows and events there. Better quality of breakfast than most. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Winter rates reasonable (nearly doubled in summer!)
Despite one rocky situation (which has been resolved), this IS a great place to stay. Shouldn't write reviews when angry. Very quiet, comfortable beds, great breakfast. Staff (minus one who is gone) is exceptionally friendly & helpful. Breakfast attendant went out of her way to be sure everyone had everything they wanted or needed.
This was a spur of the moment stop when we had delays in our travel due to rain. The only problem is finding the hotel. We trusted Google Maps but it was a puzzle. The rooms are large and quiet and attractive and well priced. I think they might cater to business travelers since the rooms would be comfortable for an extended stay. We asked for a dinner recommendation and they sent us to a nearby family friendly "Pub" type restaurant. It was perfect since we didn't need to dress up. Plus the food was good and we could watch basketball on the TV monitors.
We used this location as a wedding venue and guest stay. We were originally thrilled with the pricing and staff willingness to accommodate our party, but the night before the ceremony, things changed very quickly. The staff began acting very snobby, as if we were bothering them. The nightmare had only begun. By the time the wedding was done and the reception had begun (which the wedding turned out to be beautiful), the hotel staff began behaving HORRIBLY! One of the housekeepers rolled her eyes at the most basic of requests (to move a table), while the evening front desk clerk (who they later excused his behavior: chopping it up to "We have a lot of new people...") threatened to call the police because I REFUSED to end the reception early, stating that he was told to call the police immediately if we became rude in any way. Talk about workplace gossip...I'd never met this guy. We rented the meeting room until 10 pm, but he thought by 8pm, he'd given us long enough. What a rip off! To top things off, I am holding a bill in my hand for the cost of the room- $175.00. The hotel goofed (as the room should have been $250.00), but the young girl at the front desk stated that the room was discounted (for whatever reason, which we weren't going to argue about); but a couple of days later, we realized that they'd gone back and changed the amount billed, and essentially TAKEN the money they wanted. Mind you, this was done without any sort of notification. Shame on you BEST WESTERN. Shame shame shame. We were treated like crap, and then responded to with a guilt trip by Carol- the manager. I am not looking for your generic response about how sorry you are that our family was treated like a lesser group of people, nor do I care to hear the guilt trip you put on my sister about how much you did or the "extras" you did for us. Carol, your staff is under-trained and potentially could have ruined my sister's wedding. We barely asked for anything and you made us feel like criminals. Best Western is NOT represented well through your location. How dare you present yourself as the kind hearted manager when you were calling your staff during your "off time" to ensure we were leaving (even when you so kindly stated we could set up the night before.) We even paid for cookies and coffee, which your staff so kindly put away during the reception- why didn't you give them to us? WE PAID YOU FOR THEM. We were nothing but kind to you and your staff- this was an exciting day for us. Your staff nagged us and they were beyond rude to us. You went above and beyond, alright- Too bad it was in the wrong direction. Your behavior was uncalled for, and your staff is merely a perfect reflection of you: under-trained, untruthful, and combative. Thankfully, we were classy enough to move past you and your staff's insults and distasteful comments, and pulled out a good experience for the bride and groom. Jacob, Evan, and the young girl at the desk should not be in the hospitality industry. I'm sure it will only be a matter of time before you'll have to replace them with new people and someone else will be given the excuse that "Sorry, we have a lot of new people. I hope you will give us another chance by staying here again." As for us, you've permanently lost our entire family as customers.
You get good bang for your buck at this hotel. The room was spacious, the beds large and comfy, and the pool was wonderfully warm. The common spaces are small-ish, so the hotel is not a destination in itself, but it was perfect as a home base while visiting relatives nearby. Easy freeway access, but very quiet inside.
Third time I have stayed at this hotel. Never been disappointed. Each time I have not had a reservation as I travel and my daily schedule changes. After the first stay I made this hotel a destination along my trips. South of Portland makes departure in the morning Southbound easy with minimal amount of rush hour traffic. Rooms are clean, well appointed and have current amenities that work. Wifi was fine. Breakfast is hot and has ample selection. Will continue to stay here on my travels and have recommended this hotel to my co workers that also travel past Wilsonville. Ample parking for large vehicles . Restaurants nearby . Staff are extremely friendly and accomadating. 3 for 3 BW will stay again.
Friends were visiting, and I picked best Western. Always had great experiences with Best Western's. So u thought this would be a best bet in the area. Very spacious rooms. I also liked the fact that we could walk across the street to a great little pub/eatery! Also great location, located right off I5.this location looks newly remodeled, 5 stars for sure!
You were all very nice and accommodating. You had yummy warm cookies. I slept great and enjoyed the breakfast. Next time I'll have to try your fitness center. The internet was quick and efficient too. Keep up all the hard work. Thanks!
The front desk staff (check-in and check-out) gave great suggestions, were extremely professional and anticipated any guest issues before they became problems - thanks. Excellent facility and staff. Will be on our list on our next trip down I-5. Immaculately clean and great pool area. We couldn't have been more satisfied. This may sound like an overboard review, but we have stayed at many BW's in the last 40 years and this one rates in the top 5 for all BW Inns and Lodges. The entire staff was superb and extremely helpful. The breakfast room attendant had a wonderful personality and went well above expected requirements to make sure the room was well stocked and several times assisted many customers with tips on equipment operation and even food suggestions and different menu item combinations. Tip to other travelers: The RAM Restaurant across the street has a terrific menu and atmosphere for a comfortable sit-down dining event. The other restaurant next to it is good for in-room sandwich delivery (not bad menu for the price, if you are too tired to go out), but don't go into it unless you like are personally found of a very small, "dive bar" atmosphere with a ton of smokers out on the front porch/entrance.
Service from reservation through checkout was friendly, professional, and our stay in the room was great. The double sink in the wet bar king bed room was great. The bed was really comfortable, nice and quiet easy to adjust room temperature. Food for breakfast was also well done, fresh, easy to access and enjoy. Overall a very pleasant experience and we look forward to returning in future.
Our stay at Best Western Wilsonville was a very pleasant and exceptional stay. All of the staff from the manager, night manager, kitchen staff, cleaning people were very courteous and helpful at all times. The breakfast was exceptional. The best we have had after staying many times around the country. We will go back again.
Our entire family enjoyed our Christmas stay. We especially appreciated the kindness of the staff. The breakfast menu was varied enough that everyone in our party of 16 found something to their liking. We especially enjoyed the indoor pool, which was very clean and warm enough for even our youngest grandchildren.
I stay at Best Western Willsonville Inn & Suites every Christmas while visiting family in Lake Oswego, West Linn, Portland and on the Oregon Coast. It is perfectly located off I-5. I also choose Best Western Park Place Inn while vacationing at Disneyland. Convieniently located across the street from the Harbor Blvd. entrance to Disneyland. Enjoy the pool, spa and the short walk to theme parks.
We have stayed here twice and both times we got a clean comfortable room in short order. We found the staff to be quite friendly. The serve - yourself breakfast had scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, a waffle machine, and plenty of other options. Though tucked in a business park, there are plenty of dining possibilities nearby.
Every member of the staff was pleasant, helpful and accommodating. Most importantly they appeared to like people and enjoy their work. That is HUGE in the service industry. The included breakfast was good. It was available at 6 am which got us back on the road quickly. The food was fresh and the "make it yourself, buffet style" works well.
We had a great room, good breakfast and not far from the freeway. All pluses when traveling! We called as traffic and rain was getting worse as it got later. So glad they had a room available. The desk clerk, Jenn, was so very helpful.
With exception of one bad apple, the staff and management were truely amazing and helpful. They made me feel at home and welcome! Had a problem with the mini fridge and had a brand new one the next day. I was there on business and got a warm welcome from the staff upon returning in the evenings and felt like I was being sent off to school by Mom in the mornings. Some of the most welcoming and kindest staff I've yet to encounter while traveling for work.
Thought everything was great when I checked out. Then later discovered a mysterious $350 charge on my card. Called them up and they said it for 'smoking' and 'window damage'. First off. We don't smoke and secondly the window screen was already damaged when we rented the room. They totally made all this up to scam me out of $350. Very disappointed with this. I'm a rewards member and having used BW for many years. Not anymore.
Long haul travel has me staying at different locations throughout pacific northwest. B/W hotels have a standard that I haven't been disappointed at. Friendly staff here with ample parking for large rigs. Room was nicely appointed and excellent bed. Breakfast is adequate and quick on departure. Will stay again. BTW it easy to access from I-5
We stayed here during a mini Thanksgiving get away. It was great to pull in, and have a friendly face at the desk. We had been stuck in traffic for 3 hours, so it was great to be able to get right in, and have kindness shown.
My daughter and I stayed at this Best Western for 2 nights this month and were treated great by all of the staff. They were all very friendly and quick to check us into our room which was clean and spacious. The location is very convenient and we will come back to stay at this hotel again!
The staff does an excellent job at making sure your stay is perfect, very helpful, rooms are clean, if you have any issues the staff is there promptly and very helpful The hotel is right off Highway 5 and very a convenient location for staying and business meeting.
Hotel was booked through Expedia. Upon our arrival the receptionist (Jenn) took our info and check-in was very quick and expedious as she welcomed us to the hotel. The hotel and rooms are very clean, along with pool and hot tub. Like some reviews I have written, this one really goes out to the staff of the hotel. The receptionist (Jenn) was very professional, courteous and personable which made us very welcomed as well. Each time we left and/or arrived she asked how we were doing. When we were looking for somewhere to eat she recommend an awesome restaurant where the food was great (walking distance from the hotel). The staff was also very friendly and courteous. Considering that we are beside the I-5 and our room is at the front, it is surprising how quiet it is. Would highly recommend this hotel to others
The staff went out of their way to be helpful. Breakfast was good. The room was clean. Beds were very comfortable. Nice indoor pool. Easy access to the freeway. Close to shopping area. Nor too far to drive to the coast.
Everything was at least very good and the staff was excellent. And they have cookies in the afternoon. The property is close to the freeway but has no freeway noise. It blens in with it's surroundings and can be easy to miss. If you aren't watching closely you could drive right past it. I'll be back.
Although location is fantastic - close to the work facility I needed, near great restaurants and great coffee - the purpose for my trip was to work and without the internet in my room I was down 80% of the time. Twice I went to starbucks and half the time I used my phone as a hot spot. I reported the problem for 3 days. On the 4th day the manager got involved. She was very nice and offered to let me change rooms, but I was leaving the next morning and didn't have time to mess with moving all of my equipment, etc. Jacob, who was on staff the other days was not helpful and in the end down right rude - not understanding what a HUGE inconvenience this was for me. I do not recomment this hotel if you are on business travel.
We had a wonderful stay and plan to return soon. Everyone was so nice and all went out of their way to make sure that we had an excellent stay. The Inn is very handy to many of the other places that we love to visit, including restaurants and shopping.
Hotel is very conveniently located to where I need to go. It's clean, the staff are fabulous and welcoming. The bedding and pillows are definitely something to be desired; they're not very comfortable. I've stayed here several times and will continue to while here on business but I recommend getting rid of the old blankets in-between the sheets and get some higher quality pillows. Maybe add cushier bed pads. Sleep is super important to me; so these little changes will make a major impact.
Clean rooms, decent beds, dark and quiet. Breakfast had many options from pastries/toast to eggs & bacon, great selection. Internet was easy to use and Dish was ok (lots of channels but not much on- but not BW fault). Pool warm and hot tub even warmer, nice. Easy access from I-5 with lots of restaurants/shopping nearby.
This motel fulfills all a travelers needs. It is clean and well appointed. The breakfast is truly oustanding. You will find the staff efficient and eager to assist you. The location is perfect for reaching Wilsonville proper and the freeway going either north or south.
Central location to many resturants and shopping. Close and easy access to the freeway. The beds were Great! The breakfast was full hot breakfast with eggs, bacon, hot cereal along with waffles. The indoor pool was heated plus a good hot tub. Friendly and helpful staff to service your needs.. Stay 3 days with family, would booked it again.
Have been coming here annually w he ever we go to the Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival in Canby. Host/hostesses seem nice and accommodating. The breakfast may be warm and not piping hot it is more than what may be served at other hotels.
They had worked on the water my first night there. I didn't have water the next morning to take a shower. It would have been nice if when I checked in late Monday afternoon they would have told me the water may not be back the next morning. I would have showered that night.
Booked this place for just a 1-night stop for my friend and I. It is easy access off the freeway, and in an awesome location for restaurants to choose from for dinner - within walking distance! The neighborhood is very safe, so walking to food or stores is very easy and comfortable...The hotel and our room were very very clean and aesthetically pleasing. The front desk staff was courteous. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place around Wilsonville/Tualatin! WONDERFUL!
We enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and the staff was very nice and pleasant. The continental breakfast was good, as it always is. The location was good for shopping and also for just walking.
I have stayed at this hotel many times previous to this and have always enjoyed it.. There is food within walking distance. I attend a couple rock and gem related events in the area each year and always use this hotel.
