Most importantly, our room was clean and comfortable. And the staff was nice, polite and helpful. But, this is a really bland/tired-looking hotel. Also, the breakfast area was cramped/way too small (though the food was decent), and the pool area needed a bit of TLC.

Good place, the pool is very nice, they have a good breakfast. It's close to the malls and some other places to go… water parks close to the hotel. It's near the highway easy access. I and my family want to come back on winter…

My husband and I were traveling to a wedding in the Poconos. We had booked a place that had been suggested by the wedding party, but it had gone out of business just prior to the wedding. I settled on the Best Western in the Poconos. The wedding had a start time of 4pm. Unfortunately, that was check in time and there was no flexibility when we arrived around 2:45 which left us no choice but to get changed for the wedding at a friends hotel room somewhere else close by. We finally checked into Best Western at 9:45 that night. The hotel is REALLY dated, like 30 years. The hot tub didn't work. I slept ok. The $239 nightly rate was way too high for the area and for the property. Only good thing was it was right off of Route 80 in PA, I wrote them an email with my concerns and received a patronizing response only addressing the fact that the property was really in need of updating. Find something else.

Staff was always friendly. Turned off by a tip envelope left from housekeeping but told at checking I would not have housekeeping during my 2 day stay. Never got extra washcloths. Floor was sticky in the room.

Front desk staff was so courteous and welcoming which made up for lack of housekeeping. It was difficult to watch my husband clean out the bath drain because they were short staffed and couldn't help us.

For an over nighter in the Poconos, Best Western had clean rooms, a great breakfast and pleasant staff. The location was great as it was near the outlets, 5 miles from Mt. Airy Casino and near a few other Poconos attractions. For a veteran it was also a short trip to Tobyhanna.

The jetted tub is a joke and held together by silicone caulking. There is no seperate shower and the water sprays everywhere making the bathroom very slippery. The fireplace is a wood burning fireplace. Had I known I would have chopped down a tree before my stay. Do not recommend. Extremely disappointed.

Fireplace jacuzzi room; told the fireplace only works until March 31st. It is a real fireplace and if they are letting people burn real wood in this hotel, I am really in fear of others staying there. Jacuzzi barely functional; only two jets sort of worked. WORST PART; our room was INFESTED with bugs. (One was over an inch long; others came charging at us).

I'm laying in the bed at the hotel as I type, and if there was somewhere better in town to go, I would leave right now. The room smells, and I can't quite figure out what the smell is from. Or just feels dirty. I won't take my shoes off. The bathroom is gross and very tiny. The front desk staff was very helpful and kind, if only the room was nicer.

Great hotel with comfortable bed, great wifi, amazing staff. Very clean and friendly. Restaurants in the area are very delicious (Thai, sushi, bbq) and is supper close to Crossings (discount outlets).

Wasn't a horrible stay but definitely don't see much of the hotel employees being attentive and cleaning all too often. Definitely was some confusion at first upon check in because we got checked into a room that seemed to already be used which was highly concerning and then the second time we were given a room that was completely locked. Iris was very helpful throughout that process but the rest of the employees were nowhere to be seen. Besides that its very close to all attractions and next to an outlet.

For almost 300$ our stay wasn't pleasant to say the least. The room smelled wet, paint chipped off nearly all the walls, as well as the couch in our “suit” had its guts exposed. The lounge chair was caved in and all of the furniture was scratched and dated. We also have videos of bugs crawling throughout the room. The websites photos are EXTREMELY misleading. The only reason why we stayed is because we drove almost a 1 hour and 30 minutes in traffic from Haledon, NJ and a hold was already placed on the credit card. we check out as soon as the sunrise. we would like to be reimbursed for our troubles.

The hotel is just off the highway and extremely close to the outlet mall. It is also not a bad drive to Bushkill Falls and Delaware Gap. Clean rooms, good breakfast buffet - standard Best Western buffet. No mask in sight but that seems standard in the area. I wore mine and didn't get any attitude from anyone.

If you can find a better hotel, if not this will do for one night. Grab and go breakfast terrible, bathroom very small, beds hard, marijuana odor comes and goes. Pool packed with no towels.charged incorrect room rate and never told, they did fix it but noone informed me of the error. For the location and one night stay it was OK.

Last minute plan to stay and had to get room. Reservation process was quick we called to ask how late we can check in and staff was great. They found us place to order food that was still open at 1030pm. Room was not extravagant but clean. My favorite part was the jacuzzi tub.

Book a suite and when entering room it reeked of cigarettes and even has ashes in the chair (so how was it even cleaned) the couch was ripped and torn with stuffing sticking out. I couldn't get another room even close to what I had and then they tried to charge me more for a regular two bed room until I asked for a number to call someone else. Very disappointed as I have stayed at best westerns a lot.

The hotel smells like smoke. Rooms are small and dusty. If you have allergies or asthma you will suffer. Beds are very uncomfortable and small. No cleaning crew even now in 2022. I would recommend going elsewhere .

Smelled like smoke in the room .and hallways. We paid a lot for a one night stay and woke to a bagged breakfast no coffee. I stay at a best Western in one of the most violent cities and poorer in PA and it isn't the same there. And there is a hot meal in the AM. With coffee. And we have rewards.

Very affordable nice staff very beds clean smelling fresh just wish they would open eating space back up didn't like the grab and go but everything else great also shower water stays hot they have other rooms didn't get into those rooms always kept it simple but I've heard about the other rooms great for honey moon couples best western and plus I would not go anywhere else this been for years of experience with this and other best western hotel anywhere all good service

Despite the many negative reviews we found everything to be pleasant. There were no foul smells, no bed bugs as others have said, no problem with the internet, the room was clean, no problem with noise, just an overall good experience. The front desk person, Iris was pleasant during the whole stay. I will agree with many that the bathrooms are small and so are the towels but they were clean and if you needed more you just ask the front desk. We were there 3/14 and 3/15/22

Bathtub had long gross black hair and definitely wasn't cleaned before our stay. Other stains around indicate this also. Fire alarm went off in middle of the night- fire risk- be careful. Other hotel options safer/cleaner nearby.

No running water, no electric - in the morning, want guess out at 11am. false advertising. What else can I say, the family hate this place. Not a place that I would use again. Backwater hunt is better than this dump. Don't stay here especially with your family!

The hotel needs a remodel. The rooms are old and drab, and are not cleaned very well (dust onto of the ice bucket; dust in corners of the bathroom sink counter). The bathroom is TIGHT and the fan makes A LOT of noise! It is conveniently located close to the I-80 and major attraction in the Poconos (Camelback, Shawnee, Bushkill Falls).

The bathroom in this place is very, very dirty. The walls were full of dry scum. You can tell only the inside of the bathtub gets cleaned, but not the walls over the tub. There was dried up scum and grime in each wall. There was hair all over them as well. The toiled bowl and seat gets cleaned but the bottom of the toilet had pee drips down to the floor. The refrigerator was not working. This is the dirties hotel I have even stayed at and I would not recommend it to anyone I know. I am even embarrassed to say I stayed at this dirty hotel over night instead of walking out and demanding a refund. Unfortunately I had my 2 kids under the age of five, so searching for a new hotel to stay at midnight during a busy season such as presidents week was very difficult. I had to wipe down the bathroom counter and toilet seat with Clorox wipes before using it.

No towels. No hot water. No hot tub as promised. Sheets were dirty. One of the beds wasn't even made. Stink bugs everywhere. Room key stopped working. Wi-Fi did not work. Front desk guy either wasn't there, didn't answer the phone, or didn't know what to tell me about the many issues. Eventually I was given one towel for 4 people and no hot water.

There was confusion whether the room was ready. Check-in was at 3pm and I arrived around 9pm because of my hours of driving there. Was told yes and was sent up. Room door was wide open. Room was 80% ready. Bed was made. Shower and sink cleaned. Dirty towels on floor next to uncleaned jacuzzi tub and the room smelled terrible. I was supposed to speak with manager the next morning but before I could I was smacked in the face, literally. I went to take a shower and the shower head flys off the wall at me because the housing was cracked causing it to not be threaded on the pipe. Their attempted fix was a wad of pipe tape rather then a new head. All furniture was ripped. There was some blue smear in jacuzzi tub and also on the frame of the bathroom door. Once I spoke with the manager I immediately asked for a full and said I would be leaving within 15 minutes. The manager did give me a refund however I would have rather had him actually do his job and manage his hotel so I didn't have to cancel my weekend getaway halfway through and drive hours back home. The staff did try to help me as much as they could and I appreciated that. However being a manager myself, I could tell the staff moral was low and they seemed unhappy. All in all, the "Best Western" in my eyes is still Tombstone. Good day.

I went here for an overnight stay at my Bachelor's Party . The room accommodations were ok but the staff was really nice. My highlight in this stay was using the pacman arcade. It was a comfortable stay.

Picked this place over camelback resort because of price & advertised breakfast. Price was ok but they offered no breakfast only an apple & water to go. Charged $25 for rollaway for each day & basically had no help on lobby, not even coffee. When you see all the extra charges on your bill, it's not worth it anymore.

This stay was not a good one. They claim breakfast is included however, they only offer a brown paper bag- you get no selection. You are given what you get - included is a juice and a fruit cup. The tub was dirty and the staff in the morning was rude.

The hotel is located within an easy distance of restaurants and Interstate 80. We had a mostly positive experience here. Our check-in was with the friendly desk clerk Iris. The room had pretty carpeting and was a decent size. There's a good-sized refrigerator and also a microwave oven. The room we had was on the top floor and overlooked the indoor pool. The bed was comfortable and had a blanket, not a heavy comforter. There was plenty of comfortable lighting in the room, with electric charging outlets at the lamps on either side of the bed. The heat was set for 68 degrees and it was comfortable all night long, with the heater never coming on even once. We felt that the towels were not quite what we would have expected from a Best Western Plus. They were fairly thin, and I've had better towels elsewhere. The bathroom was tiny, but some people might appreciate the chair-height toilet and easy step-in shower stall instead of a bathtub. My reason for downgrading this hotel is a lack of breakfast. It surprises me that at this time when restaurants and hotels everywhere are serving breakfast to customers that this hotel would not serve breakfast. I think this was the hotel's way of increasing profits and just plain being cheap rather than being concerned about Covid. They had a sign at the front desk that they weren't serving breakfast because of state requirements with regard to Covid. There evidently isn't such a state regulation, because we are staying at a Holiday Inn in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania tonight that is serving a hot breakfast. We even had a nice, hot breakfast at a chain hotel in New York City last month! To use Covid as an excuse for not serving breakfast does not seem appropriate at this time. It's past time for this hotel's dining area to be reopened. If they can't get enough employees, say so, but otherwise stop blaming Covid. For me to give a five-star rating to a hotel of this class they would have had to have all possible amenities available and this one did not.

The location is decent but we could heard the highway all night. The bath towels were tattered and torn. There was soap scum on the shower walls. Breakfast is "grab and go" but patrons must request it from behind the front desk. Brown bag breakfast = granola bar, fruit cup, and bottle of Welch's. Guests make "coffee" for themselves in room. I've never seen that shade of grey for a cup of java before. The creamer is powered chalk. The fitness center door is screwed shut. The pool closes at 9 PM. If you only need a place to lay your head for rest, it will suffice.

Nice place, clean well cared for. Some units have real fireplaces. Comes with breakfast. Heated pool and exercise room. Near Camelback Ski Area and waterpark and tubing.. 2 bed rooms just have doubles Would stay again

The room was as expected. It was close to Camelback Mountain which made it convenient. The room itself was fine, however, the bathroom was very small. For instance, if you were sitting on the toilet there was not enough space to close the door, that is how small the bathroom was (to put it into perspective). While the small bathroom was manageable, the most disappointing aspect was that upon booking, it mentions that there is complimentary breakfast included for 2 people when you book their room. I always specifically book hotels with complimentary breakfasts to create an easier morning for myself and my family. However, when we woke up and headed for the lobby area, we were told there was no free breakfast offered to guests. The online booking system is completely misleading, which led to our disappointment in the morning. Had I known this I would've opted for a different hotel in the area that actually offered breakfast to it's guests in the monring.

No housekeeping during Covid? Covid has been going on for two years-so no housekeeping ever again? Internet was spotty. Sometimes no one at the front desk. No breakfast served except for in a paper bag, but if no one‘s at the front desk, can't get one.

No continental breakfast. Our room keys were deactivated on our departure day without notification. My wife had to stay in the room on our departure day so I could load the car since management deactivated our room key. Totally unacceptable. Go to the Hilton a few miles away.

I was just looking for a clean basic place to spend a family vacation where we'll be mostly out. Still the room was disappointing. The shower had stains and a few hairs in it… the faucet was installed the wrong way (cold where it says H…) and the breakfast was miserable even compared to other bagged breakfast. The indoor pool was very nice.

I was initially concerned when we made the reservation because there were a few negative reviews but we have NOTHING negative to say. The room was VERY spacious and clean, the jet tub worked fantastic and was plenty big enough for two, and the fireplace made for a relaxing, romantic setting for our evening together. We'll be back!!

Our room had no plug for the bath tub so we couldn't use it. One of our keys did not work at all. My wife went to the front desk and waited several minutes but no one showed up! The breakfast room was closed. It didn't say that on their website. We were only there for one night so we just let it go. However, the motel was nearly empty. We only counted about 4 cars plus ours. There should have been no problem taking care of the few people who were there. Very disappointed.

We stayed for a weekend Friday to Saturday. The parking entrance to the hotel was a steep sharp incline hill. Parking was easy. Check in was painless & staff was polite. We prepaid for our hotel as part of a hotel block for a wedding. We had a large noisy group which didn't get in trouble. Unfortunately, our room was on the 3rd floor area without an lift. We had to either take a lift to 2nd and walk over to the separate entrance or walk up steps to our room. Our room was good size & it was a shower only king size rooms. However, it had an aroma odor in the room ( mildew/old cigarette). Also, we had cracked bubbled ceiling ( see photo). Soda machines did not work & $3.00 per soda. Check out was timely but no express check out that we were aware of.

The third floor room that I stayed in was nice. Great space to move around with fireplace and hot tub. Not cramped, which we liked. The hotel is just a few minutes away from the town shopping. The breakfast (limited choices) but there are one fast food places across the street. The pool was nice but on the cooler side. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Although dated hotel was clean with an attentive staff. Would book here again. In spite of past negative reviews we were very satisfied with our stay. Desk staff were very accommodating since daily room servicing was curtailed die to covid.

Iris checked us in. She was very friendly and gave us some tips about the area. Gave us a room with a great view and easy access. Off season and not very busy so it's hard to rate a lot of things. I'd go there again.

Outdated room. We had a fireplace but weren't offered anything to use in it. Dirty towels were in our room upon arrival. Got woken in the middle of the night by the neighbors having a “good time”. Pillows were extremely uncomfortable. Opted to have a heart shaped tub for our anniversary trip but it was the only thing available. No shower, we didn't realize that. Only offered a grab and go breakfast with was preselected for us and had a juice, granola bar and fruit cup. So we had to go for breakfast each morning. We won't be staying at this location again.

Room was utterly uncleaned. Vacuum not done properly. There was dust and sheets were dirty. Found bugs in room and the staff said its usual as its poconos. Breakfast was horrible. Everything they now blame on Covid. Utterly overpriced.

I've been going to best western for a few years with some friends and it doesn't seem as nice as it used to be. Not as nicely kept. Our room was musty smelling. Very disappointed in the breakfast. We couldn't adjust the air in our room.

I was worried about booking this hotel after reading the reviews but I think people were just being way to picky. We stayed here overnight for a quick get away and have nothing to really complain about. Everyone we interacted with was friendly. Our room (113) was clean. The hotel could use so renovations but it served it's purpose. Breakfast is grab and go which we didn't need to utilize due to our plans. I think people forget that places are still understaffed. I'd stay there again.

This is the worst best western I have been to ever. The lady at the front desk is very rude, the hotel looks run down, pool was visibly dirty & the grab & go breakfast is a joke! Do your self a favor and go elsewhere.

We stayed one night in a room with a jetted tub on the first floor. The front desk attendant was pleasant. We asked if there were carts available to help us unload out luggage and the attendant replied they must all be used. We Never actually saw one during our stay. Our impression is that the entire facility is in need of an overhaul, but most e especially the first floor. The mattress in the room sagged and the springs creaked with every movement. The paint was dull and cracking. But worst of all was the dank mildewy smell. If Legionnaires disease had a smell, this would be it. There was an inactive dehumidifier in the hall, acknowledging this was a feebly addressed issue. I've stayed in a number of Best Westerns and always found them clean, comfortable and a decent value. This one was not. A very overpriced and disappointing experience.

do not go to this hotel, staff is rude, covid-19 is the excuse for why everything is bad. Icemakers broken, no breakfast, no fitness center. All other hotels offer these services now. On top of that the rooms were filthy, our sink did not drain and the carpets are gross.

Upon check in we had a Dirty room, coffee machine dirty, smells like cigarettes & a lighter was on the dresser. We had a non smoking room & smoke bothers me. Hair on bathroom floor, toothpaste spatter on mirror, crumbs/wrappers on carpet. Safe was broken. Staff did nothing about it but say sorry.

I spent over $500 on a suite for our wedding anniversary and our room had mold by the window, a ripped couch, and a smell of incents to the room that gave us a headache. I was not impressed. We did not really enjoy our stay.

No hot water in the shower. No hot breakfast as advertised. I've stayed here pre-pandemic and always enjoyed my stay. This time, no hot shower - what's the problem. I cancelled a second reservation and stayed a newer hotel nearby that I completely enjoyed.

The room and premises were not clean or vacumed. The window dirty. There was no full breakfast as I have been accustomed to with this chain. The garbage from renters next to us sat on the floor overnight. They occupied several rooms and there were many bags, linens, cups.. The gym was closed. Full disclosure up front would have optimal. The hotel did provide $20 gift certificates per night to compensate for the missing breakfast,

The Room had a ripped couch, broken outlets, sunken floor. We paid more for a room with a fireplace and jetted tub. Fireplace didn't work, but was advertised in the cost of the room. The room looked clean, but very worn out. The bed was also below average in comfort. The bed sunk in the middle.

Unfortunately, this hotel was clean, but that is it. My son is 6 feet and had to literally get on his knees to brush his teeth, the bathroom you can barely fit in, it is literally a closet with a shower that has no pressure. Kids running in the hallways early in the morning and pot smoking at the back exit, so every time you walked in and out, that's all you smelt, they need to give them a smoking section outside away from the exit/entrance. Room was nice, mattresses were bearable. Would definitely not stay here again nor recommend. If this was a "plus" hotel, it makes me wonder what a regular Best Western is. First and last time staying at a Best Western, I tried to only stay one night and was denied.

The hotel was extremely dirty and the whole place smelled like pot. The shower head was in the jet tub, but there was no shower curtain so the bathroom was flooded after every shower. We could hear the people talking in the room next to us, and also had the pleasure of hearing them snooze their alarm every 5 minutes beginning at 5am for an hour. Walls are ridiculously thin. I would never stay here again.

I'm in my early 20s and chose this property because of price & location. With that being said, I'm not overly critical of hotels - at all. This was the absolute worst hotel I've ever stayed at in my life. I would never recommend this property to anyone. You're better off staying at a motel. Stayed 4 days, 3 nights: 1. NO HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE: room was never cleaned and never received new towels - even though it was included in the price. Towels were DINGY, STAINED, and SMALL. 2. NO BREAKFAST because of “COVID”. 3. Hotel smelled like cigarettes and there were sketchy looking people wandering the halls - NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY. 4. Doors (other than the main entrance) were constantly propped open the rocks - allowing strangers to easily gain access through discrete entrances. DO NOT STAY HERE. THEY ARE VERY UNDERSTAFFED. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.

We stayed here after the NASCAR race in Pocono as it was not far from the track. The hotel was ok for just an overnight stay. The hallways were on the grungy side. The pool area was not the nicest either. I would not stay here for an extended period of time. It was fine for an overnight stay.

Hotel was fine for one night. Room was clean although public spaces like hallways were not well kept. I assume they like so many other post pandemic businesses are having difficulty hiring enough help. Best part of the experience was the desk clerk Iris who greeted us so pleasantly upon our arrival. Really appreciated her assistance! In stark contrast to the gentleman the following morning for whom I had to call 3 times to come out from the back room for checking out.

*Long post alert* I have worked in the hotel industry for 15 years and have spent 12 of them working in management and operations so I tend not to be overly critical of hotels when I travel as I understand the operational challenges that come with running a hotel. So with that said, The criticism that I post here for this property I sincerely hope is taken constructively by the team and changes implemented for all future guests going forward. I normally would speak with the management team rather than post on social media but in this case this post is a must as I have extensively read the reviews on this hotel before this posting, so the Management Team is aware of the issues here. This stay was by far the worst stay I have experienced since I began working in the industry. I do understand COVID had to alter how we operate hotels, and since I manage a Best Western property, ! consider myself to be very well versed with Best Western brand standards and brand requirements as well as the amendments made during the pandemic, so to be told after inquiring that there is no housekeeping service, no breakfast, no viable grab n go options, no coffee, no business center, is already very disappointing because I know and understand very well what Best Western Branded hotels are required to provide to guests (even under the current pandemic circumstances) and to top it off given a room that wasn't cleaned properly with a shower that was full of mold, and a broken, slippery shower surface (room 326) was utterly disappointing. But what made it all worse was (with the exception of one woman) the unfriendly desk staff. in particular agent Michael Smith whom I was compelled to ask his name because of his poor judgement and communication skills. (Neither he or the rest of the staff wore name tags). Mr. Smith was unfriendly, combative, unempathetic, and exacerbated the already horrible experience I was having with him at the front desk and my overall stay by continuing to feel the need to have the last word to rebut any statement of displeasure of my experience of my stay that I made. And when I called him on it he told me he "had a right to speak" like everybody else. Which of course he does but choosing to exercise this right during a bad interaction with a guest who is having a bad stay is not the right time, place, or situation to do so. Especially when your job title describes you as someone who is hired to provide exceptional guest service. During this interaction he ironically recognized me as a platinum member and continued on with his combative behavior. I was in utter disbelief! During this interaction I told Mr. Smith my only request was to have the dirty towels in my room replaced with clean towels. They were not replaced. Mr. Smith definitely needs training to understand the concept and responsibilites of a Guest Service/Front Desk Agent. He alone is the reason why I will never return to this property which is unfortunate because I travel from NYC to see my father who lives in Tobyhanna and this property is the only hotel that is closest to his residence.

The room smelled like mildew bad, the bathroom fan was obnoxiously loud. There was no breakfast even though it was included with the room. The pool was ok, it was a place to sleep for the night, but honestly the worst hotel I've ever stayed in..

We stayed during the pandemic and we had a very good stay the staff were very helpful and pleasant to speak to very professional from housekeeping to the front desk the overall of the hotel was beyond beautiful and thoroughly clean

Our stay was not what we expected fireplace was not usable , holes in towels, noise was very bad placed next to a large group of people and they stay in hallway being very noisy two of our night stay had to call front desk

When you first walked in the lobby reeked of smoke. When I got to my room it smelled kind of musty and smoky even though it was a non-smoking room. When we went into the bathroom there was a soaking tub Jacuzzi. The tile was cracked and falling off. There was mildew growing in the grout. There were outlet cover is missing and I had my 20 month old with us. The hot water in the shower did not work. My daughter had to duck down and use the bathtub water as the two faucets were different. The fireplace was shut off but the outside was rusting and not safe. The paint was peeling off the ceilings in the bathroom as well as the main room. The bedding was old and pilling. The furniture wasn't terrible, but overall the whole room needed an update.

We stayed overnight one night for a competition my daughter was in. The hotel outside and in the lobby appeared okay; however, once we got to our room it was much less enjoyable. The tub had a stain in that appeared like rust stains, there were cobwebs where outlets are, the nightstand was sticky, and the room stunk. For $215 for ONE night I would've expected something WAY better than what we stayed in.

We chose to stay here for both its location and that they marketed fireplaces. After checking in, we found the directions to the room to be inadequate (not all rooms are accessible by the elevator), shock and awe as we read signs that indicated masks were required but multiple staff members roaming the halls without masks and our final disappointment was getting to the room to discover the fireplace we were excited about was not operable due to the season.

Beautiful hotel! Really got our money's worth with this stay. Amazing customer service, rooms were clean and fresh. Would definitely come again! This was already my second stay at this hotel. Highly recommended.

Affordable place to stay with family. It is very close to shopping outlets, restaurants, mall, recreational facilities, and other shopping centers. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I stayed two nights with family for the first time and would definitely book this hotel again. About 7 min from Camelback Resort.

Elevator broken upon arrival. Had to carry luggage up 2 flights of stairs. Weed smell as soon as we hot the floor. Smoke detectors in other rooms going off all night, I guess due to all the weed smoke. Can hear neighbors phone ringing, conversations and alarms. You can hear them turn the shower on as well. Breakfast was a brown bag consisting of a fruit cup, granola bar and juice. The entire hotel needs a deep cleaning, makeover and updating! You cannot open the bathroom door while on the toilet because its so tight in there. Very close to the outlets and the snow tubing were the only perks! Way too expensive for what you get.

Valentines disappointment! My loves first trip to see the snow covered slopes of the pocono mountains. Upon arrival approximately 40 minutes early made us feel very unwelcomed, had absolutely no personality, not one smile, hello or greeting even though I called just minutes prior to check if room would be ready as there was much to do in the area to keep us busy until, we're told room was ready during the call. Plenty of left over food and opened beverages remained in room and fridge, had to clean it before putting our celebratory wine in to chill, coffee packets and tray for such completely covered with spilled, sticky coffee, again found myself cleaning! Fell and injured my arm, shoulder and neck on solid ice and untreated walkway at rear entrance where we were told could park to be closer to room, pass key did not work leaving me stranded in pain as I now had to depend on my date to carry luggage to our room!

Room was clean had good tv an staff was friendly and helpful they have indoor pool I look forward coming back again hot bath tub with shower vending machine cash front staff was very friendly an house keeping was excellent close by to shops

We are here for a mini getaway, was placed next to a room from hell where there were more than 10 people in a room that smoked cannabis, drunk, and loud as hell. Made several complaints was informed they were receiving complaints from multiple units and at 1 am ! We were transferred to another room with a fireplace. Which did not work, the breakfast was in the pic attached, a diabetic cocktail, and there was not even coffee that's edible in the room. Pool was very cold and the bottom of the pool so slippery you couldnt stand without slipping. No one follows up! The bed sheets had stains there was blonde hair on the pillows in our prior room on arrival and I am not blonde. Not a good experience at all. Would NOT recommend. Shame on Best Western name. Management is no existant.

The hotel was great, I loved the fact that I had the fireplace. What I did not like is the fact they gave me a childish breakfast option granola bar, fruit cup, sunny D HORRIBLE!!!! My blanket had bleach stains.

I want to start out this review by saying I'm not the type of person that would typically stay at a best Western. When I travel I typically would either stay at an Airbnb or I would stay at a Hilton property. We wanted to head to the slopes at the last minute and most good air bnb rentals were booked but didn't want to go to camelback resort so decided to go with a cheaper hotel and spend the day out and about. My review is going to be mostly critics but at the end of the day we slept well, stayed near where we wanted to visit, and saved money and that's what mattered most. All of that being said, I had my expectations set a little bit lower because I know generally what I should expect from Best Western. The thing is, this place really is in the need of a facelift. Most things in the room were broken, scuffed, dented or in some way torn or something of that nature. I would say the bathroom was in great condition except for most of the towels had some sort of a hole or something in them. I'll try to upload as many photos as I can, but I think I'm only allowed to do 10. This room looks every bit as dark and sad as it does in these photos. We booked a “one bedroom king” that had a Jacuzzi. I hope no couple decides to book this room thinking it's going to be some sort of a romantic getaway because it definitely looks like something out of a horror movie with so many things in disrepair. This one bedroom king room looks nothing like the images provided by the hotel. We chose this room because we like sleeping in a king size bed when we travel since we have one at home, plus we were traveling with our six year old and we wanted him to be able to have a separate sleeping area in the extra space would be helpful. This room has a fold out couch which of course is questionable...we understand that hotels like this that have fold out beds won't have the best mattresses in the world. We requested a couple of extra blankets so we could actually cushion it so my child wouldn't have to feel like he was sleeping on metal springs and it did help some, he had no complaints. I did however think it was strange that the blankets we were given seem like they had burn holes and weird stains on them but we made it work by covering them with the sheets. I was disappointed there was no divider between the two sleeping areas as in the photos. The bathroom is too small to get dressed in :( This hotel advertises as “no pets allowed”, but that is not true. There were at least two people walking their dogs in the parking lot of this building and the room across the hall from us had a dog barking. I actually addressed this with the person at the front desk by phone after check in who honestly didn't seem to care very much that there was a dog across the hall from us. At the end of the day it isn't a big deal for me personally as long as the dog isn't disturbing my sleep, but if you have dog allergies it may be a problem since they don't seem to mind too much about them but who knows. They don't serve breakfast here because of covid, but they do have one of those grab and go breakfast things going on where they have a pre-packaged little juice bottle, a fruit cup and a granola bar. The pool was open and we did stop by to check it out but it really wasn't our thing... it was in the 30s we were there so even though the water is heated it wasn't the warmest thing in the world but there's only so much you can warm a pool. The gym was closed for Covid as well. There's a little arcade and vending machines too. I will also say that the staff we encountered while here were friendly and professional and wore masks. I only had to smash 2 bugs while staying here so there's that lol I know with all of the travel restrictions it's probably been hard on the hospitality industry, but upgrading these towels and broken furniture and blankets would go a long way.

We needed a quick getaway and this property looked good "on paper." The check-in person was very professional and friendly. I paid about $40 extra to add the jetted tub, figuring this would add to the enjoyment and relaxation of our getaway. The room was average, if a little dated-looking. That evening, when we came back after eating and hiking that evening, I was disappointed to find that only 1.5 of the 4+ jets were working. So it was a hot bath with a little turbulence. Not much I could do about it at that point in the evening, so I informed the same nice reception person on checking out the next morning. She promised to let the manager know. After not hearing from the manager, even after several email messages, I am very disappointed with the lack of interest in customer service at this hotel. Suggest you test everything upon check-in if you want to make sure you're getting what you paid for-shouldn't this be housekeeping's job? Even if management contacted me to say, "sorry" this would have left a better impression. I feel ripped off.

Check-in was easy. Free hot breakfast? - there is none due to Covid.. You stop at the front desk and they give you a Grab and Go baggy for breakfast. Contains juice, fruit cup, granola bar and bottle of juice. That was our snack! We went to Billy's Diner for breakfast and dinner. Food is very good, plenty of tables available. Hotel does not offer computers in lobby or.coffee set up due to the virus. Room and bathroom were clean . stayed for 2 nights - no maid service the 2nd day - no big deal to us. We stayed in a room with two double beds, and they were comfortable. Only thing I might suggest is grab bars in shower for elderly people. Pool looked nice - many young families were using it.. Would stay again if we came.up. plenty of parking also.

Stayed in most expensive suite....while lights tv ac fridge worked room is dated bathroom mold on caulking tub..water smelled, sink drained every slowly, carpet stained, furniture dated( cushions flat, coffee table chipped scratched rickety.best western should be ashamed of charging the rates for their most expensive room....however the staff is top notch,wonderful courteous

I made a reservation at this hotel for our family. We were travelling with my 4 year old daughter. The night before our stay, my daughter woke up with a cold and later developed a low fever. I called the hotel to cancel our stay and hopefully get a refund. They told me they werent able to refund me the money. I would had hope that with the pandemic, they would be a little more flexible and understanding. Maybe if money back wasn't at all possible to at least allow me to rebook it for another day. A little tip for customer service, the least you could had done was to give me your best wishes for my sick daughter before you hung up the phone on me. I will not be giving this hotel or any other affiliated hotel my business.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. The location was perfect and close enough to area attractions!! The room was just OK. It had a fireplace but no one told use we had to bring our own wood (previous hotels we have stayed either supplied logs or had electric fireplace). We also booked room with jetted tub but was never told the jetted tub was in place of shower even though room pictures online showed shower. Overall we had a great trip and would stay at hotel again just not pay extra for upgraded room.

Checkin was okay. The beds look small even for a double. From now on I will only book hotels with queens. My daughter banged her head on night stand during the night as the corner is the exact height of the bed. Pillows were lumpy. Bathroom is small and the sink faucet leaked all over counter. Tub didn't drain and we had to get a plunger from maintenance and plunge it ourselves. Pool seemed cloudy and the area had weird blinding lighting but it was still a dingy old looking area. Had to get our own towels downstairs they don't bring them up due to covid. Also no hot breakfast just grab and go some water juice and fruit. Air conditioning smelled funny and with curtains closed just blew into curtains instead of the room. The pluses..beds are comfortable even though narrow. Late checkout was given at request. Rooms were clean. Staff was obligatorily pleasant. TV was a nice size. Good size real closet. Furniture is decent and updated. It's not a terrible place but could use a few improvements. I probably wouldn't stay again.

they do not clean these rooms well at all also seemed like if they had put the saame sheets on from the last guests from how they looked, especially with everything going on with covid this is unexceptionable and when asked to speak to the manager the young man at the front desk told me he was too busy to speak to me. i DO NOT RECOMMEND This Hotel to no one, i was super surprised that it had such a good rating online because from what i seen it sould be rated a 2 star hotel

first the good thing is great location.after that you wouldn't think theirs a pandemic raging besides the fact that the continental breakfast was cancelled supplemented by a measly grab n go .the rooms god need a nice cleaning .and i i don't know if it was by chance but the outside garbage's were overflowing leaving a very unpleasant greeting as you enter.and the phone didn't work to contact the front desk.

I used to race about this place. Now, it has gone downhill . The people who run this place must not care. So many people who are staying here are not wearing masks. I saw too many unsavory people here. I will definitely not stay here again ever.

Formidable location for shopping (near the Crossings Premium Oulet) or to enjoy Poconos. The manager, Mr. Sanji engages with customers in a wonderful way I've never sean before. Very clean and good price. Highly recommended

The worst experience despite the fact that the location is good, the staff makes your experience terrible, they hung up on me because they had priority with other clients on the front desk and the manager Sanji is an arrogant person who more than help guest, acts arrogant and acts as he doing you a favor. He has ridiculous work hours in which you can only find him 5 hours a day and boast of being the only one who can make decisions. What kind of manager works like that? My recommendation is to go once they have changed the administration. My plans were to return a week later before finishing my trip and I decided to cancel my reservation.

Best Western Plus is a great place to stay. It is always clean. The staff is friend!y. The breakfast is usually wonderful but with COVID19 they handled everything very well. All things were sanitized a d wiped down.

My husband and I decided to visit the Poconos as a little getaway. We stumbled upon this hotel last minute, and it was a decent stay. The only complaints we have are as followed : we tried to call the front desk but could not since the phone did not work and we could not schedule a wake up call, they did not make an exception. The room was very clean and the sleep was peaceful, overall would recommend. Room also had a very nice fireplace, wish we could've used.

Check in was quick and easy, no problems at all. The front desk receptionist was very nice and eager to answer any and all questions. The room was super clean and even decorated in a modern style. No complaints about the room either. We did not use the indoor pool or take advantage of the free breakfast so we can not comment on them. The hotel was easy to find and in a good location for dining and shopping. We will absolutely stay again and recommend this property to friends.

I quickly planned a last minute trip to the Poconos-Camelback to go snow tubing. The Best Western was the only hotel that was reasonably priced for the quality that I was looking for. This hotel didn't disappoint. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and spacious. The pool and hot tub were clean and inviting. I would stay here again.

While visiting the Pocono mountains I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of my stay with Best Western. Ironically Best Western wasn't the first hotel I looked into. Baymont had a promotion which upon attempting to book they did not honor (bait and switch) at which time I came across Best Western which i had never stayed with before. I was happy with the price but wasn't sure what to expect, I'm glad to say they exceeded my expectations. I would definitely stay at this location again and would make Best Western my first call for future trips.

We had a great stay in the Best Western Plus Poconos Hotel. It's a nice, clean hotel and is very close to Camelback Mountain. The staff is very friendly, kind and accommodating. We will definitely come back again.

We stayed for one night after visiting camelback. Hotel is close and easy to get to from ski resort. Room was clean and as expected. Staff was friendly and courteous. The check in was easy and the fast check-out was simple.

The cleanliness of the room surpasses most hotels, including suites, that I've stayed in. We had a room with a fireplace, which was a really nice touch. Staff were friendly and attentive. The price was reasonable, and the hotel was close to shopping and ski resort.

Stayed at this hotel over the new year. Only good thing was we were right near the outlets. Front desk was nice but not informative of the rooms amenities. Refrigerator in room didn't work. Pool was indoor but ice cold and water leaked from the ceiling. Driving in to the back lot there were zero street lights so it's pitch black and hard to see. Not worth the money we paid.

The hotel is ok for the price and the location suited what I needed for the business trip. But the cancellation policies are not consistent. I had to make an emergency cancellation. I checked with the desk and the policy at the time was 24 hours of which I was compliant. Found out in another phone call after seeing I was charged for my stay that the next manger said it was 72 hours. Got quite a bit of run around between managers. So Be aware and ask questions before you consider this hotel stay.

Fair price for the location. Close to sky resorts, large outlets. Beautiful surroundings. Breakfast wasn't great but, most of the hotels in the area don't include breakfast in the price. Excellent staff.

The room smelled of weeks-old Chinese food. The finishes had been updated/painted over, but it was pretty clear how basic the "bones" of the room were. If this is a "Plus" Best Western, I am frightened to think what a regular Best Western might be like.

The stay was great. The room and facilities were very clean and orderly. The young woman who checked us in was friendly, informative and very personable. I had a nice stay and will be returning in the future.

The hotel is ok the hotel is clean the staff Was great . The free breakfast was doable actually pretty decent and I overall experience was good the rooms was a little small but very clean. We stay a couple of days . My only complaint was the mattress needs to be replaced rolling to the middle other then that a very good experience . I would stay again

We have stayed one night after a long day at the Camelback Resort.( 5 min drive from the resort) We check around 10 PM. Front disk were nice and polite. rooms are clean, Heat and fan were on at the room. bathroom is clean. The room has fridge, microwave, tv, locker..etc. Parking is available for the size of the hotel. Breakfast was ok. they have a Wafers machines. Coffee machine must be replaced. the coffee was horrible. they lady at the breakfast room was super lovely and we would like to thank her again for her service. I guess price is was high for Saturday night but the best you can get at the area for $150. the hotel is cross street from the outlets with over 100 stores and lot stoppings..great deals.. I do recommend this place if you just passing or after a long day at the waterpark or planning to shop great deals. Thank you Western for the hospitality.

more service when i call front dest and requested 2 plastic bag the answer was you have to come down and get it. i would appreciate the service at that particular time. that is the only thing i would of change

Last minute trip to the poconos where we discovered the “best” Best Western in PA. It was right next to the Outlets. Everything you'll want or need is within walking distance. Our check in-was seamless. They do not require you to check out which is nice. Very easy to get around, elevators available. Parking right outside of the doors. The room we booked had a very comfortable bed, fireplace, hot tub, microwave, refrigerator. Large flatscreen TV. Coffee tea maker. Complimentary breakfast was awesome. The two ladies working the breakfast room were so helpful and friendly, we will stay there again just because of them. They have a gym, very nice heated indoor swimming pool which are complimentary as well. The only minor criticism is that the vending machines were a little pricey $3.00 for a bottle of water. I highly recommend this place for the friendly service, breakfast, amenities and value.

Nice location to outlet center. Everything was clean, staff was pleasant and professional and the breakfast provided was the best I have seen for this type of hotel. Great value for the money. Look forward to staying here again.

Have stayed at this hotel twice a year for the past 4 years. Good food in the pub. Breakfast room large spotless. Food there is the same as at all Best Western hotels. You can find enough for most peoples taste. I personally would prefer bacon to sausage but that is the menu. Food in pub is quite varied including salads.

The staff was very friendly and efficient during check-in and check-out. My partner and I had a fireplace in our room, which was a nice touch to the overall ambiance. We really enjoyed staying here for our quick weekend get away. The only compliant was that there was a cricket somewhere in a room that made falling asleep a little difficult, but other than that, we had a great experience at a decent value!

When arriving at this hotel it looked like the standard Best Westerns I have stayed at in the past. When I entered my room I was waiting for the cast of the devils rejects to appear at anytime. The door stuck and didn't close tightly, the bathroom was a mess if I needed DNA from the last guest I could have gotten it, hair was on the floor and in the sink. The tub plunger was out if the hole and I could see a clump of hair that probably belonged to the guest from the last year. The pillows where hard as nails. I could go but you get the point. Just don't stay here

Room and facilities were clean; the staff was friendly; the location is very convenient (but access can be challenging). The property layout overall seemed somewhat awkward. The room was OK; the bed comfort was acceptable but the bathroom was extremely small.

This place is in need of updates and repairs. Not worth the money you pay for a room. Staff was nice, and it's not really their fault. It's the owners who should be fixing this place up. The room was clean, but the bathroom ceiling had leaks from the room above that they were aware of, but never repaired. Water=Mold! Gross! The Jacuzzi tub tile surroundings was all gross and broken tiles and needed caulking. Noise level coming from hallway is horrible. Stay someplace else.

Dated hotel with over worked staff. Staf avoided helping me with an issue I had. New manager was overworked. Just left the check in area and did not come back. Dated room with old fixtures.Too many other choices. B.W. needs to spend some money on the rooms.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Can't say anything bad about it. Very clean. The only issue I could see that this hotel might have would be trying to get up their road in the winter without winter tires, since it is a pretty steep entrance. Only other thing would be other 2 queen beds. They only had 1 king or 2 full/double beds available when we stayed here.

The room was very nice and clean. All of the staff is friendly, accommodating and very willing to take time to make your stay welcoming. They went out of their way to help with places to eat, directions and offering advice on things to do in the area. Our overall experience was great.

People that give this hotel more stars have low standards. Let me say that the hotel staff was super friendly and attentive, they deserve better. It was not comforting to know that the welcome sign had a help wanted sign for housekeeping. We had to call the front desk for new blankets because ours had wads of hair on them. The linens were just ok but old and cheap and the blankets needed to be thrown out because they were old and worn. The whole hotel smelled musty including our room. The bathroom setup was ridiculous. I am 5'5" and the counter top was very low for me and when you opened the bathroom door there was almost no room to get out because it was only several inches from the toilet. A heavy person would have a tough time. The breakfast was average for this type of hotel.

We booked this online. Best Western Plus designation is usually reserved for higher level Best Western establishments. This definitely does not qualify. The property shows its age from the lobby to the rooms. The old TV remotes was a little tricky to use. The breakfast was a little above average for a Best Western (warm eggs, sausage, etc). This isn't a bad place. I'm just surprised that is considered a Best Western Plus.

Clean Room, Friendly Staff and Beds very comfortable. We had a emotional support animal in our reservation that did not get noted and the staff did not blink they took our paperwork for the dog and welcomed us. Which after the day we had and the lateness of the check in we really appreciated.

i believe this was my best stay for 2 nights and all was very helpful great location right off 80 breakfast was very good and hot. coffee 24/7 newspaper every day. and printer computor for your use and printer

I would definitely stay here again. Comfortable bed with an amazing location! They have spacious rooms in a key location! Gotta love a room with a refrigerator as well! If you want to keep your spirits cool or your leftovers for later, this was perfect stay for us!

We did not have electricity one morning due to a car accident outside the hotel. This also meant we did not have breakfast as advertised. The hotel apparently does not have a generator. No mention of an option for a different place to eat breakfast, a refund, or even a discount on the next stay. Staff were pleasant but management should think through better customer service in emergencies. Hotel needs updating but the rooms were clean from what we could see.

The staff at Best Western Plus was very professional and informative about the area. I was very impressed that the staff checked the hot breakfast very often to make sure things were fresh. The only complaint I have is that our room was cleaned at a different tome each day so we never knew what time we were able to just go to our room and relax.

Location was great for shopping, water park, eating, and being close to the highway. The rooms were ok. Not horrible but not as expected per the pictures. The outlets are bad and nothing stays plugged in. Breakfast was pretty good for being included in price which we liked very much. I guess you could say the hotel was worth the price for what you got. If I came back to the area I would maybe try a different place.

Great location close to Camelback, Great Wolf, local shops, Premier Crossing Mall. Great places to eat. Staff was friendly, they offered a small hot breakfast buffet with eggs, sausage, homefries beside the donuts, muffins, yogurt, juice and coffee.

Room decor was dated, room only had a jacuzzi without a stand up shower. Room furniture was damaged. Room had a bad odor, as well throughout the hallways of the hotel. Breakfast area was not coordinated correctly.

When we arrived at the hotel our check in was very quick. We asked the desk manager if all of our family could be on the same floor and she said sure that would not be a problem. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated as well as the beds being very comfortable. Our grand kids loved the pool and the hotel was only 10 min from Camel back water park. Every staff that we came in contact with was friendly and courteous and always asked if everything was OK and if we needed anything. First time ever staying at a hotel where all staff wanted to make sure you were comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty and we loved making the waffles. My family and I have decided that if this is the type of service we will receive then we will make this our hotel for each visit.

The check in was easy as well as check out. The rooms were very nice and cleaned every day. The cleaning staff always asked if we needed anything more than what we had. The hot breakfast was something to look forward to every morning.

Staff were very professional and friendly. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast was very good, many options to choose from. Location very close to shopping center, restaurants, and Camelback mountain adventure and waterpark.

We booked a fireplace room but got a standard one. The breakfast room was much too small and over crowded. Breakfast items not replaced efficiently after they were used. Hôtel in great location and might be the best in the immediate area dispite the initial comments.

Right off 80 and conveniently located. They had 3 floors but just had a few king size beds that were taken and then they had 2 DOUBLE beds per room! In this day and age??!!! There was a fireplace in the room - too hot to use tho'! Free breakfast was ok but not a great selection.

We were given a smoking room. When we booked the room, it didn't say smoking room. We checked in late. The hotel was fully booked. We couldn't move to another room. It was horrible. The only reason we chose this hotel is because of how close it was to the resort we were going to. We actually paid $200++ a night. It's not worth that much money. The room is small and outdated. The towels had yellow stains. One of the beds looked like it had been slept in. This would be our first and last stay in this hotel. The only positive thing is the staff are polite and courteous.

I was not please with my stay. Wife and I did not enjoy the stay the hotel smell like smoke and the breakfast was not enjoyable at all the service was OK the rooms was not clean and the beds was not comfortable

We had a great stay at this property just minutes from the outlet center. Fitzroy welcomed us at the front desk and made sure we had rooms in the locations we wanted as we were travelling with a family group. Renee in housekeeping was so kind and helpful with extra amenities when we needed them. The breakfast (FREE!) was really delicious, lots of choices from hot to cold and in between, even a custom espresso machine. It is good value, very clean and a friendly staff.

Stayed here after attending Pocono 400 Nascar race. It was clean and quiet and conveniently close to I-80. We were on first floor and heard very little noise from inside or outside hotel despite being very close to highway. Free breakfast buffet was good. Only downside is that bathroom is small with no towel racks to hang up used towels to dry.

Location and access to the hotel is well positioned. My hotel room had a damp smell however I dealt with it. I stayed for 4 days and only received housekeeping services on one day; mind you the DND sign was not placed on our door while we left. Not sure if I might return again.

The hotel was very convenient for our spacific travel plans. Very comfortable and cool on what turned out to be a very hot July weekend. We will certainly stay there again if our future travels bring us there..

Upon arrival after staying 1 night elsewhere, was told with no reservation that a few rooms were indeed available. Very clean,fully stocked with bathroom amenities. Nice pool with easy access,breakfast food had very good variety. Replenishment of foods running low were made very quickly. Young woman at front desk was exceptional. I will be staying here in the future.

If I was able to give this 0.5 stars, I would. From the start, check-in was absolutely terrible. Was not able to check in until after the designated 4pm check-in when I requested for early check-in. They did not have my assigned room (king bed) available and wouldn't until much later in the day. Overall service from the ladies at the front desk was piss-poor. When I went to grab a water from the lobby refrigerator, there was nothing in there. Rooms were nice - however, we did not receive the king room which we requested. We were also charged the king room rate, while the double bed rate was much less. To top it all off, the housekeeping woman stormed into my room at 9:00am without knocking. Just walked right in after using her master hotel key card. I was standing in the hallway half naked and felt this was a total breach of conduct. How could this happen? In addition, this same woman knocked one time an hour or so later, and burst in yet again. Overall, not satisfied with service and value.

Our family of four stayed one night and picked the location for easy access to the highway and to the factory outlets. Staff were friendly. The room was small and in need of updating. Not much space for two adults and two kids. The bathroom in particular was tiny. I could barely give my child a shower in it and the bathroom vanity was unusually low. Kids enjoyed the pool, which was warm and clean. Breakfast the next day was good, but the set up made it very difficult to access. The dining area is small and filled with large, clunky furniture. With a more space efficient set up, it could be much more pleasant. All in all, this hotel is fine as a place to lay your head. With a few upgrades, it could be much more than that.

The hotel is older. It has an old smell to it. Can use a little updating but was CLEAN and very hospitable. Breakfast was delicious. We just needed a clean bed to sleep in. Nice size indoor pool. I loved our experience at this hotel. I will definitely visit again and would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay at the poconos for an affordable rate.

We were made to feel very special. Rooms were clean. Cleaning staff was always there to help with our requests. Very frriendly place, Will return to the Best Western Plus from now on. Enjoy the pool and fitness center. Had a great time.

Staff was helpful upon checking in. Accidentally booked a smoking room & they moved us to Non-smoking with no issue (THANK YOU!). Room was basic, but clean. We felt comfortable at this hotel. However, the high speed internet was non existent. We could connect to WiFi in the lobby, but we couldn't connect from our room. We could momentarily connect to WiFi from our room, but the connection was unreliable & if you moved your hand or phone, or if you moved from app to app - it disconnected. We reported the WiFi problem to the front desk, they said it was working & their devices were connected. We called the WiFi support number and the support tech wanted us to reconfigure our phones to connect to the Router directly via IP. We declined- it shouldn't be that complicated. No WiFI was just a minor inconvenience for us.

This is the second time I've been to this hotel with my parents and my kids 11 and 14. I had accidentally booked smoking rooms for us instead of non smoking rooms and they had no problem changing us over to the non smoking side, plus our rooms next to each other. Then my parents decided they were unhappy on the first floor so again I went over to ask to relocate and they were very happy to accommodate us to the second floor right next to the breakfast lounge and pool, again the rooms right next to each other. Everyone that works there is amazing, I also love the little hidden trail.

Love this hotel. The included breakfast was so good. The lobby and room were clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice. No noise in the hallways like other places I stayed in.I would definitely go back.

Clean basic room, good breakfast. Internet stunk. A/c did the bare minimum. Paid when booking, was charged again checking in. Showed front desk who said they didn't charge me/could do nothing even w/proof of double charge. Would be a 4 without that, good hotel for what I paid

Convenient location, just off the highway, without the noise of the traffic Great Value in comparison with what is being provided! Breakfast is excellent. Lots of food to choose from. And the lady in charge kept adding foods, so that they don't run out. Room is very Clean. Beds are fluffy and comfortable. Bathroom is clean and good size. We have a wonderful time overall!

I am sorry to hear about your experience. I was not able to confirm about the dirty aspect of the room. As far as the Breakfast is concerned, We are very proud to offer and serve every day, White and Wheat Bread. The Coffee is a Nescafe Allegra Machine that dispenses, Regular, Decaf coffee along with Cappuccino, Latte. Espresso, and Mocha. I have never heard any of my guests categorizing this coffee as cheap. For healthy Options we Serve 4 different kind of cereals 2 kind of Juices 3 flavors of yogurt in individual portion of Dannon a national brand. 3 kinds of Fresh Fruit and 2 kinds of Oatmeal. Breakfast Pastries along with Hot Waffles made individually, Hot Scrambled eggs with Hot breakfast Potatoes and either Sausages or Bacon are served daily. Would it be possible you stayed at another Best Western and reviewed the wrong hotel? I have stayed at other B/W Plus hotels and expected the same here, IT WASN'T. The fridge made such a vibrating noise I stuffed a face cloth under it to stop the vibration and then everything we put inside froze. The bathroom was so small I had to stand sideways to shave in the morning. There was dirt in the caulking around the tub and floor in the bathroom. Kids running up and down the hall at midnight. The only good thing the beds were comfortable....

We use this hotel often when we are in the area and this visit was probably the nicest. The rooms are clean and the staff friendly. The only complaint - which is not really a complaint - more of a head-scratcher, which I have probably made before is that there is no sign from the interstate. The hotel would probably do a lot more business if people knew it was there!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night in the king room with hot tub and fire place. It was very relaxing and close to the Premium Outlets we were shopping in. The staff was friendly and informed of the area. Very clean!

We got to check in early which was nice. The free breakfast was nice, it is what you'd expect ex: cereal, toast, bagels, eggs, sausage & waffles. The room was very clean as well as the bathroom. The fridge and microwave was a nice surprise which came in handy. Location was great, max 15 min drive to local attractions. The staff was very friendly. Parking was easy, multiple entrances made getting in the hotel easier. I'd recommend & stay again.

Great location close to Camelback and Outlets. Hotel staff was very friendly. Free breakfast was plentiful and had lots of options. Pool was clean. Rooms were clean. Beds not as comfortable as I would have liked but were fine for a short stay! We would definitely stay again

Non smoking room smelled like smoke due to fireplace pool was cold many lights out in parking lot trash was over flowing there was broken glass in the entrance To the hotel I would not stay there again would have never paid the price I did if I knew what I would encounter

Well I will start with this we arrived on 02-22/23 My husband paid $545 per 2 night so we thought we gonna have a pleasant stay for that price. we arrived at 11 pm room 333 and when we went to the room, beds were completely dirties hairs on them and stains all over, the head board completely greasy, carpet gross garbage around furniture with greasy finger prints, old socks in the carpet ashes in the toilet,cups to drink water used. I called to the front desk to ask for a new room she said they were full my kids were exhausted what I was supposed to do? So I asked to the lady for clean sheets she brought them so fast and with a man changed. Next morning so early I went personally to the desk from and explained to the lady how disgusting my room was so I told her if the housekeeper could at least clean the carpet and toilet and she said yes I'm sorry of course she going to clean properly. I was so upset I was feeling so stupid to spent all this money in this horrible hotel. We went outside all day and again we came back at 11pm my surprise the housekeeper just made the beds carpets the same bathroom the same even tissues that I asked for they didn't put it. Trust me never ever I will stay in this nightmare hotel for this price you can get something better

Originally booked a basic king room (#326). Room reeked of chlorine and all you could hear was children screaming. Pulled back the window curtain and instead of the seeing the outside world, I see the indoor pool. Immediately asked the manager for a new room. "Completely" booked. Asked for money back instead since the listing online was false advertisement. Never mentioned it would be an interior room. If the only window is just a view to another indoor room, then why have a window? Was told we would only get a half refund since we already checked in (we had only been there 5 min). After threatening to call corporate, the manager magically had a cancellation and we got a new room. Must admit, the new room (#301) was very nice. King bed with fireplace and jacuzzi. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Free breakfast was basic but hey its free. If you are going to stay here you MUST call ahead and make sure you do not get one of the "pool rooms."

Great Hotel the price is good and the location. My kids loved the pool, the free breakfast can't beat that. Friendly staff and they were very helpful.Whenever I go back to callback skiing this is the place I will stay. It's only 5 mins away. Love it.

Check in was fast. We stayed in room 311, which had a fireplace and whirlpool. Everything was clean and in working order. The indoor pool was great, and the fitness room had great equipment. Will definitely stay here again!

This hotel was fantastic, greeted with friendly staff upon arrival. Room was clean and smelled nice. Pool was great! Warm and a decent size. They drape pool towels on the chairs, i thought that was a nice touch. Breakfast was good, you get all the necessary breakfast foods along with scrambles eggs, potatoes, sausage, and bacon. The make your own waffles were soo good!! The ladies at breakfast were so friendly. We had a room with a fireplace and during the weekend a friendly worker came up and set the fire log up for us. They always have hot chocolate, tea, and coffee in lobby. Parking was perfect as well. It's about 3 miles from Camelback and the outlets are literally right around the corner, maybe a mile. I highly recommend this hotel!!! I would Definitely use this hotel again for my next day in the Poconos!

The hotel didn't have much going on but that is what we needed. A quick stay instead of paying ridiculous prices at the resort. We were close to the mountain, the room was very clean and we had a free meal in the morning.

I called for an early check in, my room wasn't available as of yet. They told me they would give me a call when ready, and I've had experiences where they waited until the actual check in time to ring me back if they called at all. I got a call less than an hour later to let me know my room was available and once I got there, they remembered my name and treated me with a smile. Check in was swift, once i got to my room they called to check that everything was ok and if i needed anything. I really wish i could remember the two lady names to give a personal shout out, but unfortunately i do not. The room was nice and clean and i would definitely be back whe i visit the poconos again. I stay a a Best Western at least once every other month. For the most part the "plus" hotels are usually great. My favorite and the Best of the Best is the one here in Tannersville 5 miles from my home. When I need a break oe some me time that is where I go. tf you ever get a chance stay at the Best Western Plus in Tannersville PA.

Best Western was just what I needed, and it was as I had remembered it would be. It was a get away with my sister, after my husband's funeral. I needed a special place to relax and unwind. This was it.

We like this Best Western for its close proximity to The Crossings and other stores in the area. The front desk and especially breakfast staff are very friendly and helpful. We have stay here numerous times over the past 10 years.

I won't return to this hotel. Rooms are very small, some items were broken, room was not clean, especially the bathroom. The breakfast was below average and very crowded, so we never could find a sit.

Although we live about 7 miles from this hotel, we could not go home because a snow storm made it impossible to get up the hill to our home. When it became obvious we weren't going to get home we went to Best Western and got a room. it was clean, warm, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed here for a week in mid-October. We chose Best Western because of the good reviews from others & appealing display of the hotel online. We were so disappointed. Upon arrival, the room smelled horrible - the trash was overflowing with take out containers. Our bathroom sink and shower had issues draining, so we made the front desk aware twice. Nothing was done about it. When we checked out on our last day, we made the front desk aware of the issues that had not been taken care. The woman informed us she'd tell the manager and he'd call us as soon as he got in. He never called that day. We made several phone calls to follow up on the situation, with each response being that we'd get a call back. We did not get a single call back. An email came in asking how our stay was- I was honest in my feedback with how upset and disappointed I was with the lack of care. There wasn't even a reply to that. I don't like leaving poor reviews of places unless I have to, but I'm doing this to make others aware of what situations they may face if they stay here in the future.

Wow! Was not expecting that. The place was almost empty, so it was nice and quiet. I stayed for a couple days in a king bed room, which was immaculate, if not elaborate. No a lot of room for company, but at least it is very presentable if you have visitors. I even wanted to take the artwork home with me - not joking. Room had a minifridge with a freezer, and a microwave, which is sometimes hard to get without booking a suite or extended-stay room. I needed to be on the road too early to make use of the complimentary breakfast, so this was nice to have. Real brewed coffee available in the lobby. Exterior doors, except the lobby, can only be unlocked with a room key. The door to my room could be double-locked from the inside. Last summer I stayed at a motel which was a little too sketchy, so I now appreciate a well-secured hotel. Not sure if I could sleep with a lamp on, and I don't like sleeping in a strange place in complete darkness. I discovered that the microwave, if left open, makes a pretty decent nightlight. The shower does have adjustable pressure, so you won't feel like you're having a hundred thousand miles of road grime power-washed off of you, although you can have that, if you really want. Don't know why some hotels insist on blasting you with uncomfortably high pressure. Didn't need the staff much, but check-in and check-out were quick and easy. I can't think of too much to complain about, with the exception of the noisy bathroom fan that comes on with the light. This is another common and annoying hotel/motel thing. This place is a bargain. Just book it!

My family and I went shopping & to Kalahari over the weekend. We decided to stay at the best western our first night due to the affordability. It was right next to the outlets which was amazing.. but the best part was the staff. They were SO friendly I couldn't help but go out of my way to write a review. This isn't something I would normally do so kudos to them!

We love the location, close to the highway, shopping at the outlets, short drive to the brewery and a short drive to the casino. The service is always warm and friendly. The rooms are clean and well kept. Breakfast is included. We have stayed her several times and have not had any issues. If you are looking for a great place to stay for a great price, this is the place. My husband and I came for this birthday for a quick night getaway, check in was easy and smooth. We went to the Brewery which is about a 5 minute ride, had dinner and then drove to the casino which is about 10 minutes. We stayed on the 3rd floor, room was quite, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. We had a free breakfast the next morning, check out was quick and then went shopping across the way before heading home. Really worth the cost of the room.

The staff was super friendly. Whenever we asked for something, like extra blankets or a listing of TV channels, someone came within minutes to bring it. The rooms were clean, the only thing that bothered us a bit was a little damp smell, but that went away when we put the heat on. The pool was nice and always empty when we were there. This is a good place to stay. It was close to everything we wanted to do. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was clean. Breakfast was great with a large selection. The breakfast dining room could be bigger.

As they say, simple and basic. But, i will give you the best things first. (room 318) A fireplace in the corner of the room, with some firewood provided. A great heated pool, and the exercise room is well maintained and in great shape. Good ice machines, and a game room with a pinball machine. Average breakfast and eating area. Nice elevators. Nice flat screen tv. As for the room....Firm bed, good air conditioner/heater, fine bathroom (but locate the toilet paper roll first as you go in). We kept the air conditioner on all of the time, and it was just 3 ft. from my bed. Try placing the chair in front of the air conditioner, and place the luggage on the chair to to help separate the air flow. Another good feature...As you open your bedroom door, you will walk 4 steps, and make a turn to where the beds are. Why good? With that angle turn, it reduces any hallway noises by nearly 85% or more. We heard no noises, what-so ever (and the place was packed). Hubby & I had tickets for Leah Ann Rimes @ Mount Airy Casino for Friday night (9/21/18). We would have liked to stay at the same venue BUT $509 a night for Friday, well it just wasn't happening! We have stayed in other BW & come to depend on this brand of hotels. The staff is very personable, friendly & accommodating. Rooms clean & affordable ($122 for Friday night). Free breakfast included with something for everyone to choose from.

My husband and I spent a week at Best Western Poconos in Tannersville. We booked a king room with fireplace. When we checked in we were told the fireplace was wood burning and seasonal and therefore not available. The room had a very strong odor and I have asthma so we asked for a different room. The only available was a room with 2 double beds, but we were told the price was the same since the fireplace could not be used. The room we stayed in still had a very strong odor.. must/mildew in the carpet. The room was very damp, and not much better for my asthma, and was vacuumed only once during our stay upon request. There were cobwebs, peeling paint,etc. Housekeeping was hit or miss in restocking basic supplies such as tissues and washcloths. However, if we called to request items they were brought to our room right away. Beds were comfortable so that was a definite plus. There is an indoor pool but due to the intense chlorine we were unable to make use of it. Breakfast is served on the second floor and includes a nice variety of hot items... but if you are a coffee drinker... it is disappointing to be served instant coffee- Nescafé from a machine. There is brewed coffee in the lobby, so we started drinking that instead. The redeeming quality really is that the employees in the breakfast area and front desk are all very welcoming and accommodating- with the exception of the actual manager. The hotel is also very central to the Poconos, Philly and NYC. Unless the property had some deep cleaning and painting we would not stay here again.

I was not familiar with the area and the Best Western was the only Hotel with availability. I was pleasantly surprised to find pleasant customer service and a clean room with all amenities functioning. The only Negative is no Coke a Cola!

We wanted a decent place to stay for the long Labor Day weekend. I expected the rooms to be a bit expensive but we reserved a Suite for the three nights. For a Best Western Plus, this hotel was lacking. The main issues we had were: 1. The Suite we stayed in had no air conditioning in the second room. With the 90+ degree temperatures during our stay, it made the room basically unusable. 2. The Breakfast room is the most poorly laid out and tiny (wih a major choke point in front of the counter with the one waffle maker, powdered eggs and salty sausage links) for the size of the property I have ever seen in a Best Western, especially BWPlus. It was like a cattle call trying to get to the food, and again, even though there was an air conditioner it was uncomfortably warm in the breakfast room, to the point that by the end of our stay we opted to find breakfast elsewhere. 3. The bathroom shower sprayed out the back of the shower head. 4. There are no towel racks in the bathroom, no place to put towels other than the cubby under the sink. 5. TV remote had no way to direct access a channel, since it was digital and the "clean remote" had no way to enter a hyphen or decimal point (i.e. to access channel 36.2). Very inconvenient. That said, the room and the property were clean and well kept and the staff was friendly and efficient. We were suprised by the fireplace in the room, but since it was over 90 degrees we did not use it.

This hotel served its function of giving us a good night's sleep on our way home after a flight back from Europe, and I slept well despite the smoky smell in our room. The carpets hadn't been properly vacuumed (felt dirt crunching under my feet as I walked across the room) and several of the towels had brown spots on them. The staff were quite nice, welcoming, and as soon as I called they came up to replace the towels with clean ones.

Staff - very nice.Cleanliness - awful. Hotel is old, outdated and not clean. Terrible odor in hallways, rooms, towels and linens. Carpets stained. They try to keep it clean, but the facility is just too old and worn. Needs a major update. Extremely overpriced for the condition of the hotel.

We were going to the Poconos for a family reunion and we needed a one night stay. The Best Western Plus was the perfect spot and we asked for a room with a jetted tub. We checked in and lo and behold the jetted tub was heart shaped. What fun! I mean the Poconos and a heart shaped tub, bingo!! If you need a shower this is not the room for you. The room also had a gas fireplace. The hotel is nicely decorated and the staff is always asking if you need anything, just ask. Good breakfast in the morning, scrambled eggs, sausage, make your own waffles, the standards but nicely presented and maintained. The location is very central and my wife enjoyed the upscale outlet center around the corner from the hotel. A fun place in the Poconos without going to one of the big resorts.

I did one night, very clean and cozy. Breakfast was good and the hotel people were very friendly. Room was clean, bathroom was big. The restaurants they close early so make sure you get your food early. Only the Chinese food was open.

Started out getting a double pending charge but upon discovery it was quickly resolved. Free continental breakfast was great with lots of fresh choices. Hotel room was spacious and pretty clean. No issues with sounds from other rooms, however, someone was either smoking pot in the hallway or stairway outside by our room because the smell was coming under the door. Also after hiking the falls and touring the area, we filled our tub and pressed the button only to discover the jets didn't work. A little disappointed but no big deal. Clean bathroom. Nice size refrigerator and microwave.

The place stank of dead meat. The pool was horrible, it stank, was cloudy, had gobs of hair floating everywhere, the paint is coming off, and the edges of the pool is caked with grime. The staff likes to watch porn instead of taking care of you. Families staying together, up till past midnight with no control over their kids, kids slamming doors, yelling and running up and down the hallways. Unfortunately the stereotype of people groups is very true. Hallways were filthy like they had not been vacuumed in days. Do not stay here unless you plan to not sleep and don't mind a stinky hotel.

The Hotel is located in the center of Outdoor activities for all ages ,a few minute drive to Casino, Waterpark, Outlet shopping, Restaurants,Gun Range as well as the Highway exit. The Hotel has pretty strong WiFi and Decent sized pool. Breakfast is a variety and well stocked, ( Bacon was crispy)

Large, two wing hotel (smoking & non) , stayed in a king suite with whirlpool & fireplace that was clean and cozy. The bed & pillows were very comfortable. The Pharmacopia citrus shampoo & conditioner and lotion smelled wonderful & was all natural. Used the small gym area which was open until 11pm. The free hot breakfast was so busy but it was the best one I've had yet staying in a hotel. Sausage links & well cooked scrambled eggs. The espresso machine was great & the selection of pastry, cereals, yogurt was much better than most. The Orange juice was higher quality too. Really enjoyed it although it was quite crowded and served on the second floor in the breakfast room & not in the lobby, which was unusual. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return in the future when passing through for overnight accommodations.

We found booking this directly got us the best price. Outstanding front desk staff. Very helpful. Well maintained. Excellent breakfast wide variety of items, including fresh fruit ( apples and bananas). Located so easy access to restaurants Drug stores , gas and numerous high schools. We were there for high school graduations.

Very good value. Room seemed to be updated, included a fireplace (didn't use), a good TV, fridge & microwave, plenty of power outlets (pet peeve if not). Free breakfast I had was fresh and warm scrambled eggs and sausages, plus lots of other choices. The building and hallways have an odd layout, probably due to expansions in the past. Only problem found was a loose toilet seat, but someone came to fix it in less than 10 minutes. This will be my first choice hotel for future visits to the area.

excellent experience. hotel was super clean very reasonably priced. parking very convenient. beds were very comfortable we had a fridge and microwave a huge digital tv. we really enjoyed it i would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Poconos area. its also a great location next to alot of attractions.

Was going to wedding in the poconos and i have always had really good experiences with best western hotels. Was able to use my AAA to book the room and i usually don't do the breakfasts but this time i did and was not disappointed.

The walls are hollow so if you have noisy neighbors you will get no sleep. And if you ask the front desk to do something they won't do it either. Several times I had to call and ask them to have the people next-door quiet down - the last call being at 2 AM to no avail. It's like nobody even cared that there were others trying to get some sleep. Also the stopper for the tub didn't close. So no bath option. When I made a comment on my check out the response I got was “I will have maintenance look at it”. Not even an I'm sorry about anything, nothing. I definitely would not recommend staying here.

Stayed once again for a few nights. The suite room 311 was clean but a few things were wrong. The sink was clogged and the coffee table was cracked and chipped. The room in general was great. Stayed here and did some shopping at The Crossings. I will be coming in June to stay again.

The accommodations available at the Poconos Best Western hotel adequately met my needs during a recent business trip. One Guest Services Representative, Courtney, was very helpful in her expertise of the area and the accommodations she represented. While the hotel may not be the nearest property in the area, they deliver an exceptional level of customer service and overall cleanliness. I enjoyed the indoor pool and fast WiFi internet connection. In my opinion, the bathroom in my suite was quite small and the breakfast selection was much to be desired. Overall, I would recommend the hidden gem in the Poconos region. It's proximal to ski resorts, shopping, the interstate, and exceptional dining options.

Excellent hotel for the price. Cleanliness of room and Amentities were very good. Very close to All Indoor Waterparks and the Crossings Shopping Outlet. Fitness Center was great, New Equipment and Pool was very nice. Walls of rooms very thin, can hear everything that goes on above you and next to you. Overall stay was very good.

My family and I rented two rooms for a Monday night. Check in was a breeze and the receptionist was very friendly and chatty. She did tell me to park my car out front because the back wasn't ‘safe.' That should have warned me right there. The rooms were decent but cobwebs were all over and the fireplaces were wood burning so it couldn't be used in April. We left to go to the store and when we came back a man was in front of the hotel peeing in full view behind his truck. We notified the front desk and they told us the people out there were drinking and were guests so they couldn't help us. I thought that was inappropriate and I had my two young children with me on this trip so I was very unhappy with that answer. The breakfast was good and it was walking distance to the outlets. Overall, for under 100$ a night with breakfast it was good but with the sketchy clientele and poor problem solving by the staff I don't think I would return.

Overall, good quality for the price. Very convenient to I80. The staff was helpful with suggestions and directions to local eateries and places to see sports. Breakfast was incredibly crowded (though this was the beginning of a holiday weekend). Food was mediocre.

We had a clean comfortable room. Quality mattress recently updated deco in the room. Breakfast was included scrambled eggs which were salty, bacon, waffle yogurt and dry cereal choices. Interesting coffee machine gives you regular to expresso choices.

My fiancé was called a prick ! The room reeked with smoke to the point you could barely breathe and the sheets were not clean ! In the bathroom the towels were wet as if someone used them ! The hotel did nothing to accommodate us to rectify the situation, instead we were kicked out without a refund !

It was very unfortunate that we had to take the extreme step of calling the cops and escorting you from the hotel. We at the hotel tried everything to accommodate you the best we could. As a hotel Manager my job is to Welcome the Guests to the hotel and take care of every need of theirs within reason. Unfortunately with you booking a smoking room online and Hotel being sold out that evening we could not accommodate persistent requests for being accommodated in a Non Smoking Room. When the gentleman with you, became belligerent and disruptive, in order to protect the other guests's experience and guests safety we were left with no other choice to call the cops and have you removed from the Property. Mind it this was done after repeatedly asking the gentleman to control his language and loudness of his voice. The gentleman was being abusive to the staff and their were other guests with children in the Lobby. We had to do what we did to protect those guests and their children.

Our power was knocked out during a recent snowstorm/blizzard. Checked in here. Room was clean and warm, Staff was very helpful. Overall an excellent experience. Breakfast was good to have as a lot of places still had no power and were closed. Quiet considering the place was full. Really nice will stay again if need be.

The hotel room could have been cleaner, my wife found hair on the bed sheets and we contacted the front desk. The custodian was prompt and courteous and changed the sheets. The hotel was totally booked up, due to locals renting rooms because of snow storm power outages. The TV screen was dirty and the bathtub drain was clogged. My grand kids loved the indoor pool. The location is great if you are visiting Camelback or the Outlet stores.

The front desk staff were awesome, very friendly. We checked in during the recent snowpocalyse, and considering all of the mayhem going on, the staff were awesome. The room, a king, was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, and the staff kept everything neat and tidy even though the hotel was inundated with people stuck there due to Rt 80 and all other roads being closed.

Stayed 2 nights with my husband for a snowboarding trip. Upon entering room it looked clean and orderly, but when I went to use bathroom there were long, thick black head hairs on bathroom floor-grosss! That turned me off a bit esp when inhad to dispose of them. Noticed a lot of dust in bathroom, on tissue box cover, ice box/tray, towel shelves. Minimal amount of towels, no hand towels- just large (had to ask for more hand ones). Stains on some towels-gross. Looked like makeup or grease. Makes me wonder how thorough they clean things like the toilet and tub in between guests. I went to the bed to start to upack and the same black hair was on the bed! I checked the entire bed at this point, but that was the only one. Still gross. Anytime we wanted to use the indoor pool (which was on our floor) it was packed with kids and their parents. Since it's a small pool We were never able to swim. It's annoying when the same groups take over any hotel pool. Walls were paper thin, was able to hear every child on our floor screaming and running down the hallways at 11pm while we tried to sleep (their parents as well!). Staff should monitor halls, esp the one where the pool is to ensure people aren't being disruptive at night. Breakfast was ok, eggs seem to be powdered due to the abundant amount of water sitting in the chafing dish. Tasted fake but there werent many options for protein. One choice of meat-turkey sausage. Waffles were pretty good. Staff/ guests like to smoke right next to the back door, which is annoying when you want to come in. Have to pass a giant cloud of smoke. Should require people to smoke certain amount of feet away from door. Overall it was an ok stay for 2 nights but I was glad to leave.

We are a family of 4 who left the great wolf lodge and realized we were stuck in the area due to the hazardous road conditions. So we decided to stay 1 mile down the road at this best western. pros: free wifi; the rooms are clean, conveniently located, free breakfast; very quiet in room despite full occupancy; we arrived very early and our room was available. Negative: the front desk only had one receptionist so the wait to check in was 25 minutes since she also had to answer the phone; the hotel pool water is not heated (we bumped into a maintenance man in hall who said it was set to 85, but did not care to check the pool after we told him the water was cold); no shop to purchase essentials such as milk which is much needed when stranded in a hotel; not enough towels in room for family of 4 plus they are small towels; there is 1 pinball machine that is very loud and eats your money; there is no storage room for your luggage should you arrive early. Despite all of this I would still recommend this place if you are looking for a clean room to sleep in. We paid 139.99 plus tax which I believe is comparable for the area.

We reserved two rooms for three generations of the same family to facilitate a visit to Camelback Mountain. On arrival, the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Recommended an excellent restaurant nearby. Breakfast was merely adequate but again, the staff was very helpful in making waffles for us.

All of the staff was very outgoing and helpful. If we needed something they had it ready. Room was amazing with the fire place and jacuzzi. Very clean hotel and great people who work there. If we go back to the Poconos we will definitely be back to stay with Best Western.

I was little reluctant to stay here again but under new management and it shows the place was very clean rooms are redone and very clean, the breakfast was good for quick bite and out the door. Overall very nice and clean compared to what it was before. Great job place looks good from what I seem!!

Very average hotel near Camelback Mountain Resort (3 miles). Free breakfast, pool, free parking, and some rooms have fireplaces. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast area gets very crowded during the winter. It could use more seating and a better layout. Its a linear setup along side a wall so it gets back and very hard to move. Pool is nice but dark. It could use more lighting and a hot tub for adults. No restaurant or bar on site.

The hotel is clean and very nice. It is quite comfortable y did provide what I was expecting to receive. The rooms smell good and they were always very clean. The double beds are a little small, though. The front desk service is really good and they were always polite when I needed something. The location is very strategic as it is close to shopping malls, the resorts, and restaurants.

Manager does not return calls/emails. Problems: 1) arrived late (midnight) and didn't get into room until 1am. No other guests were checking in 2) room didn't get serviced. Request to provide towels due to room not being serviced took 1.5 hours 3) when room did get serviced, it was not properly cleaned

Rooms were clean, but small. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. Pool was very nice on a cold, snowy day! Because of an illness, and a trip to Urgent Care, we asked for a late checkout, and the staff was very accommodating, allowing us to stay late, even though the hotel was fully booked for the next night.

I stayed here for 1 night while skiing. It's super convenient to Camelback and loads of restaurants. Chris at check in was friendly. The room was decent. The only prob with the rooms are the bath towels. They can fit around a child, not any normal sized adult! Breakfast is included and was good - cereal, waffles, bagels, toast, juice, coffee. The woman working at the breakfast was my only real problem with the hotel. She asked me my thoughts on the president. I don't like to have political discussions with people I don't know so I just said he is okay then went back to checking my email while eating. She replied with something to the effect of since I like this president she does not like me. Ok. Whatever. A little while later, a family of 4 - 2 kids and the parents - all were wearing the same clothes - a festive Christmas shirt and matching flannel pants. The worker said to the the mother that she can't believe the father convinced her and the family to dress like this. The mother said she agreed with it. The worker then said she wants to take a picture of them and post it on Facebook. At the same time, the father said no they don't like pictures and the mother said no they do not want to be on Facebook. They got their food and sat down. I saw this worker start sneaking pictures of this family and talk under her breath saying with each picture that the picture isn't good or she can't get a good picture until she finally said it will have to do. She was already told by the family no pictures! Very nervy!

We stayed here on our way back from Virginia. This is a very nice hotel that is close to everything. The breakfast was setup nicely and was located on the second floor. The room was comfortable although the bathroom was a little small. Overall a nice hotel.

Great experience from start to finish. Your staff is very friendly, helpful and pay attention to details. Very clean hotel. Nice breakfast with variety of options. Convenient location. We will be back!!

My husband and I stayed here over night this past weekend for our 1 year wedding anniversary and loved everything from the fireplace in the room to the nice comfy bed to the indoor pool, free breakfast and fitness room. Also the staff was great as well and the room was nice and clean.We recommend it to anyone staying in the Pocono area. We will be back for sure. Two thumbs up and 5 stars for sure.

I enjoyed myself very much at the Best Western Poconos plus staff was beautiful the manager was beautiful and I'm looking to forward to going back again in the area was very nice everything was right there that you need it along with the outlets right in the back over a thousand stores down the block that have a pharmacy gas station everything was right there

Really replace them.. free breakfast..place was overrun with people...looked like one woman trying to refill containers,and wasn't keeping up one woman monopolized waffle maker ..bagels ran out...no cream cheese or butter..total fiasco... Desk staff friendly and helpful..about the only plus..room clean beds comfortable Wouldn't go again

Staff were extremely friendly all around. Any and all questions were answered and the overall attitude of the staff were great! I was also happy with the two double bed room. The room was clean and roomy which kept our twin 3 year olds happy and entertained while we had our black Friday shopping bags safely stored. This place was right next to the outlet shopping g, and connected to a gas station with a burger king so everything was conveniently close by. The kids loved the pool as well with good hours of operation (up to 9pm). All other entities were close by so we had no issues with this place at all.

Unfortunately, our stay was not enjoyable. We were charged extra for staying on Thanksgiving but did not receive anything in addition. The overnight check-in employee was incompetent and took 30 minutes to check us in. The room had a heavy smell of smoke despite being a non-smoking room. The heater was too hot or too cold all night. One of the towels had a red, blood like stain on it. The bathroom was extremely small (the door ran into the toilet). And we had a suite but this did not offer us with anything extra as there was no door between the rooms. It was simply a cheap experience for a moderate price. Very disappointing.

Clean rooms with an enjoyable fireplace, bright decor and the comfy beds. Great hot breakfast with a good variety of items to choose from. Close to the outlet mall. Will be back to explore this area further.

We stayed here while hiking around the Delaware Water Gap. The location is good, right of the interstate and not too far from the gap. The staff were all very good to deal with; friendly, helpful, and professional. Our room was very clean. The shower, bed and tv were all fine. We did not try the pool but it looked nice. Coffee and tea are available in the lobby 24 x 7. The breakfast was good, waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage plus all the other usual items. The had a very nice coffee, latte machine. It was a treat! We wish breakfast had started earlier than 7 am.

Best hotel in the poconos!!!! Well the suites are awesome so I assume the other rooms are great too! The hot tub in room is a nice touch along with a beautiful fireplace!!!! The room had a living room off to the side! What a wonderful layout! Felt nice and cozy like we were a guest in someone's home!

Good value over all for the price. If you are traveling for business and need Wi-Fi, a clean room, and a quick breakfast in the morning, this hotel is a solid choice. I happen to like the Best Western chain as their location fall nicely within my company's price range for expenses.

This Best Western hotel is now on my favorites list when visiting Pennsylvania. The staff was great and friendly, the room was clean and modern, breakfast was great and plentiful. The variety of options at the complimentary breakfast buffet was excellent. Although we did not have the time to use the indoor pool during our stay, it appeared to be very clean and a farely large size. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

If your looking for a nice hotel this is the one the only thing i can say its clean and it has a great staff to greet you and help you Go staff if i didnt say this hotel is very close to everything even the casinio

Staff was incredibly rude and the hotel misrepresents the handicap accessibility of the building. This hotel is not ADA complaint. When I arrived (before we even had the handicap issue), I paid the deposit on both rooms we had paid for, and asked to leave a key at the desk for other half of our group. I was told that that wouldn't be a problem, but when the other half of our group arrived, the desk refused to issue the keys unless they paid another deposit on both rooms. This was corrected by another associate, but only after we missed our dinner reservation. Later we learned that the bathroom in the room was not handicap accessible, and the bathroom in the lobby was also not accessible despite being label as such. When we asked for any kind of accommodation, they became indignant and told us to use the bathroom at the gas station down the street.

We were welcomed with a great smile and friendly hello from Alexis. We were booked in a double bed but wanted to be in a king since it was just the two of us. Chris, the front desk manager was helpful and was able to accommodate us. Our room was super clean, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was quiet despite all the kids and families going to the spooky event at Camelback. Awesome staff, room, convenient location and great coffee. Who could ask for more. Looking forward to staying here again. /

Had a good stay. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was good. Quiet stay on the 3rd floor. Only "issue" are the towels are a little thin and leave lint on you. Had and issue with the drain in the tub not sealing completly when trying to fill the tub. Maintenance was there to fix it shortly after the call was made to the front desk. Very close to food and shopping. Will stay there again if I will be in the area.

My kids stayed at this hotel for an overnight trip to view the wonderful fall foliage and to do some sightseeing. Our family has stayed at this hotel other times as well. It is neat and clean. Breakfast served is always fresh, many choices-something for everyone. This hotel is close to shopping, restaurants and many sightseeing areas. We got a discount through Triple AAA- so it was reasonably priced. Would like to see bigger beds in the room though-full size beds are a little small for 2 people.

The pros clean spacious rooms, beds were comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was ok. The cons the staff wasn't warm and welcoming outside of check in. Our room wasn't clean when we left and we were gone for the entire day. So it is possible to not get any housekeeping service while at this hotel. The towels are old and some had stains in them. The chalking around the shower needs to be redone. The room I was in faced the pool (rm 326) which didn't allow any sunlight. I would recommend the hotel butI would also recommend you bring your own towels. The hotel is right of the highway and right around the corner from the outlets.

We have stayed at this hotel before-have always enjoyed the complimentary breakfast-the food is always fresh and there are a good amount of items to choose from. It is very convenient to be able to grab a nice breakfast before going about your day. The hotel is neat and clean, close to shopping, restaurants and sightseeing.

We enjoyed a king bed suite thanks to our Best Western Rewards program. The room had a fireplace and hot tub. The bed was comfortable and the ambiance relaxing. The breakfast buffet was above average. Wifi was satisfactory.

Hotel was very clean, both the room and exterior/interior. Indoor Pool was nice except for a Band Aid floating around. Breakfast had many selections and was very good. My only negative would be the traffic noise on the back side of the Hotel which faces the Interstate.

It is a good location for what the Poconos has to offer. It is a little better that average. The rooms were OK, the bathrooms were on the small side. We had a none smoking room, but we could still smell smoke in the bathroom area. The breakfast was good, but the breakfast area was small and very crowded.

Decent...not great. Provides some value but you get what you pay for. The staff was helpful but the decor and interior needs updating. The hall and facilities were dated also. A bit overpriced for what you get.

Although quite dated we found this hotel very clean and good customer service. It is well located just off the interstate and although slightly higher price than some other nearby hotels, was worth the extra. The beds were comfy, facilities good, shower hot and the breakfast had plenty of choice. It's also walking distance to the Crossings outlets.

Very clean, but a big dingy. Bed had a slump in the middle so my husband and I kept rolling in all night long. Bathroom is really small and tub would fill up when you took a shower. But clean does mean a lot to me so there's that. The free breakfast was good. Eggs, bacon, waffles, the normal, but the flavor was there. The rooms were quiet. No traffic noise which was great. Only 5 miles from Mt. Airy Casino, which was nice.

The room was comfortable and clean. The only draw back is our room was located on the 3rd floor and no elevator access past the 2nd. (There are 2 different 3rd floor wings) when you have a weeks worth of luggage this can be quite difficult, especially with arthritis. But it was quiet and comfortable!

We checked in at the hotel late and got a good rate. We were on our way back to NY from Niagara and decided to stop in Tannersville as the hotels in New Jersey/New York are crazy expensive. This hotel was nicely located and affordable. The rooms were comfortable, clean and most of all, the hotel is located outside of the immediate highway surrounding (< 1 mile though) but in a very quiet environment which made our short stay even more comfortable. The staff were friendly at check-in and breakfast. I would definitely recommend for a stop over or if you are doing business in the area i guess. Close to two malls and restaurants, etc. (driving distance < 1 mile from the hotel).

For the price, this is one of the Better Best Westerns I have stayed at. I have stayed in Deluth Ga, Edison NJ and Tannersville PA. I have recommended the Tannerville PA location because of it's location right next to the outlets. The diners in the area are reasonable.

Will stay again.The only negative is there is no security. short staff the front desk lady multi task and it look like she does all the roles. Printer does not work. But overall Breakfast excelent fresh food clean area. The vending machine they were not working the sell snack in the front desk but have no room charge. Room good size for family. Hotel near express way gas station restaurants and stores.

We stopped here on route to NYC. The area is pretty. The room we stayed in was OK The dissapointing part was the mold in the shower area. The staff were very good at checking and checkout. We enjoyed the Barley Brewery for our dinner.

We stayed here last week and our room had an unpleasant musty smell. We were offered another room a few doors down later that evening, but it smelled even worse. Also, the towels didn't smell clean either. They smelled like they were either washed without soap or dried without being washed. Breakfast was decent, but crowded and the front desk staff were fairly nice, but I don't think I would want to stay here again based on the smells in our room.

I come to visit with my grandkids who live nearby. The hotel is always very clean, and attractive, and the staff are always very accommodating and hospitable, The breakfast is delicious and the pool is an extra added attraction for the kids. High marks!

Not too Bad if you get a good rate....Nice Pool. Its close enough to everything in the area.The breakfast was included and very good for free. Staff were nice people and we had no issues. If your in this area you will be fine and comfortable in this place.

I booked this room at the last minute because the hotel I normally stay at in this area was sold out. By the pictures on the website I thought I would have a relatively good experience. However, when I checked in I was greeted by a disgruntled employee at the front desk who stated that "I booked a smoking room with two double beds" and that was all he could give me. I did not prefer a smoking room, but if that's all that was available I would be alright with it, there is just a nicer way to explain the situation to a guest. Additionally, there is a $50 hold upon check in which is normal. However, you are unable to charge snack items that are for sale in the lobby back to the room toward the $50. The gift shop is CASH ONLY. This is very unusual, as normally deposits are applicable to room charges as well as incidentals. While my boyfriend voiced his concern to me about only being able to pay cash for the items, the manager snarled that my boyfriend should talk to his manager instead of talking "under his breath" to me. Yes, I understand employees are often forced to enforce rules that they did not create however being in the hospitality industry, this employee should know that is no way to speak to a guest. When we asked for a receipt we were again greeted with poor service and told that "it would be a while" and that nobody since 2014 has asked for a receipt. Additionally, there is no elevator access to the room we were assigned to. Aside from poor service, the room itself is fine.

Terrible front desk staff charity unknowledgeable about product knowledge about the layout of the hotel I was on crutches and had to walk two flights of stairs. Told me there were 2 elevators and I was out of luck for paying for fireplace & pretend it was on

Didn't change the sheets, the bathroom was dirty, there was blond hair everywhere and I have black hair, we paid for two nights, but stayed only one. The hotel looks nice and is very well located, but for me a clean bed and bathroom is the most important.

Location convenient to Outlet Mall and Interstate 80. Continental breakfast full of variety. Pool large and clean. Mattress comfortable. I would recommend the hotel to my friends and family. Many restaurants are nearby.

I was very pleased with my stay. Rooms were clean, comfortable,quiet and the location was great.The staff was professional and accommodating and attended to our needs promptly. We will stay there again when in the area.

Everyone was friendly and the place both inside and out were very nice. The breakfast was very good with a nice variety including hot and cold selections. The only negative thing I have to say is that they lack seating. The place was way too small for the amount of people that stay there.

Clean and comfortable although the beds are starting to get a little on the tired side. Location to area of Poconos we were in was perfect. Close to shopping if that is your thing. Right of route 80, gas close by which is convenient.

This is a Best Western Plus, but I have stayed at better Best Westerns. We arrived in the late evening. The front desk staff was very nice and welcoming. They even offered suggestions for dinner. When we got to our room, it had a bad smell, something like urine or old fish. Because the hotel was sold out, they did not have any other rooms to offer us. They did send someone up right away to spray the carpet with something that smelled like febreez. It helped for a little while, but the room smelled again later that night. The room was small, the bathroom tiny. The hotel does offer a fitness center and pool. The morning front desk staff was not as friendly and we saw them outside smoking multiple times as we were loading our car.

I would rate this hotel as very good. The room are okay with very comfortable beds and pillows. It provided free Wifi service and onsite parking. The only way to enter the hotel's side doors is with the key so that made safer. The breakfast was a basic continental breakfast with the waffle maker and coffee machine. There was free coffee and tea in the lobby 24-7. The pool was very warm when you enter the room, however, it had a very high chlorine smell and water was too cold for us. We visited the pool room and decided to leave. The gym room was crowed the times we walked by so we decided to walk around the area instead. Outlets very close with small food court. I will stay here again but would not want a room with the heart shape whirlpool bathtub. I rather pay less and have a regular shower instead

Convenient to the activities of Camelback Resort, dining, and shopping. We booked a room here in 2009 for a mini honeymoon when it was the Ramada and had an awful experience. The place was so dirty that we had to leave and fought for 6 months to get our money back. I did not realize when I booked this hotel that it was the same one, but now a Best Western. We had a WONDERFUL experience this time. I am so glad that this hotel can now be an option for travel again in the future.

clean and friendly the pool site is nice and kid friendly. Breakfast is delicious. Only thing missing is a little spot outside for families and kids to relax at night instead having to be in the actual room.

Good location... one down side (although I've never stayed in a smoking part of a hotel) was that there were no elevator service directly to the floor I was staying. Nonetheless, this was a sudden getaway and was very pleased with my stay. Familiar with the area, so getting around was pretty easy..Kids had great time, really enjoyed the pool... short stay so only had time for fishing near by...will hopefully spend more time on another occasion.

This hotel was great!! From the cheerful staff at check-in, to the beautiful mountain scenery, and let's not forget the breakfast, everything was absolutely delightful. 10/10 would definitely stay here again.

Great Staff at this location. Room was nice and clean upon arrival. After checkout i left several items inside my room, staff was nice enough to mail my items to my home in New York. Overall it was a great stay. Would recommend to others and will return on future trips.

The bed mattress was not in very good shape. This hotel is in need of some work. The room and the hotel is smoke free but the room did have some kind of smell. The electrical outlet outside the bathroom needs to be replaced. The area where the free breakfast is small and congested. They allowed a group of people to have a breakfast meeting and they took up a lot of the seating. The WIFI was terrible.

We enjoyed our stay. It was quite comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast, pool, convenient location and free parking. Will visit again in the fall and possibly in the winter. Great place to stay. Thank you Best Western!

Only stayed for 1 night, but the property is really nice. Better than my previous overnight stay last week at the Hilton Meadowlands! There were plenty of a/c outlets for chargers and the breakfast was nice, even though it was crowded. If ever I'm up in the area again, I'll definitely consider this property. Also the front desk staff was extremely nice and accommodating.

We weren't too sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised. We arrived early and could not checkin right away, however, we were invited to eat breakfast. While it was crowded, the breakfast was better than expected. After-breakfast we went to the Outlets which are only about 5 minutes away. By 11am, we called and our room was ready. The room was clean, New looking rugs, good size, and close to the breakfast room and pool on the second floor. All in all, it was a great stay. It served the purpose and I would stay again. It pretty close to most attractions and the breakfast was not bad. Scrambled eggs, sausage, variety of breads, yogurts, fruit, juices, cereals, waffle maker; Many options to choose from. But, get there early because the layout causes congestion. I would make two small recommendations: 1) Alternate breakfast meats 2) redesign layout for smoother flow. Beds were also very comfy. Thumbs up !!

This is amazing and I can't submit a review unless it is at least 200 words long and I learned this after I've gone through all the other questions. Let me say I did not like the dining room area the chairs were very close to each other you couldn't even navigate the dining room also the waffle maker didn't work I was really not happy with my stay here

Front desk clerk CHRIS is awesome his suggestion for dinner was also a great pick. Even before HE TENDED TO US HE WAS ON THE PHONE TRYING TO HELP SOMEONE WITH A FEW QUESTIONS AND WAS VERY NICE AN POLITE. The room and pool are very clean.

Our room was nice and clean. Decor was pleasant. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Chris, one of the managers, recommended a great Italian restaurant for dinner. My husband and I had a nice relaxing time. Pool was a bit disappointing. It was cold and dark. Skylights would have been nice. Overall our stay was nice.

Plus: The hotel was very well kept, clean, very courteous attendants, good service and well located to nearby attractions and shopping areas. Minus: The lighting was not bright enough, the hotel should consider day light LED light bulbs. The refrigerator was not working at that time.

We had gone for the weekend in the February and the trip was amazing. I had pre booked Best Western Plus. The room was very nice, less spacious but good enough for two people and according to the price. The room and bathroom were clean, ample space for parking. The best part was it's delicious breakfast with lots of varieties. I definitely recommend this hotel. It's like 10 minutes drive to Camelback and around 20 minutes drives on the other side towards the city for dinner. For a quick food, Burger King is attached to the hotel.

We stayed at this Best Western while attending the NASCAR race at Pocono Speedway. Great location for accessing the track -- several ways to get there and none took more than 20 minutes. The room was comfortable - wish it were a little bigger. The bathroom was way too small...had to close the door to sit on the toilet. Breakfast was the exact same options every day -- "hot" breakfast was scrambled eggs and sausage and then you had the usual choices of oatmeal, yogurt, waffles, fruit, etc. Awesome coffee machine!

Came here with my husband for a bday shopping spree (Compliments of my husband) :-) Hotel is nice, it is located on a hill next to a Burger King and Gas station. Nothing extradorinary but it was clean and nice-looking. Staff was friendly. Parking is free. This hotel is so close to the outlets, which is great. (I think 5mins away) Breakfast was ok, not too much variety but at least I could get a hot meal. Can't say anything else for the pool and fitness center, didn't use it but it looked like it was in good shape.

Close to everything, and very nice! The room looked totally upgraded with new everything--frig, microwave, furniture. Comfy chair with foot stool, too. Staff were terrific. I will stay there again if I'm in the area.

the staff was great.the rooms are small for four adults. the beds are regular and they all should be Queen size- and not very comfortable. the bath room small. the pool needed to be deeper this one is 4 feet,no one could swim.the towels for pool were rough and scratchy to the skin.

Hotel was more than I expected. Close to shopping outlets and Casino, Mom and family were happy with breakfast. Staff was very courteous and always Available. Will definitely stay again when visiting .

We stayed 2 nights as we were passing through town. very convent location~ close to everything, nice staff~ very friendly, we used the free internet, free breakfast~ food was good but was crowded, and work out room and pool

We would have stayed longer but we were passing through on our way to NYC. A very nice place to stay and a lovely area. Nice any time of the year. Lots to see and do. Have visited this area in the past and always liked it!

I booked this hotel on the fly for Memorial Day weekend and I was lucky enough to be able to stay one night. Our room was spacious and clean. I would definitely stay there again. The breakfast was delicious and the waffles were hot & tasty! A few minor things to note- the 2nd TV did not work ( no biggie), the coffeepot did not work (it can be changed out). The mattress was comfortable but it did sink into the middle with our 2 bodies in it, but the sheets were clean and soft. I wish we had more time to use the jetted tub! I hope to come back and stay there again in August. It is a great location and our front desk man Chris was great. A bonus- the pool is inside if the weather stinks.

We have been off the Best Western Brand for a while but recently we made a trip to Kentucky and they were the only decent Hotel in the area and we had a great stay, so when we decided to make an overnight trip to the Pococnos for a shopping expedition we found this Best Western Plus in Tannersville that was highly rated on Tripadvisor and we reserved a room and it was a good choice. Check in was quick with the person at check in talking to us about local dining options. Our room was on the second floor and had two Double Beds, not many places have double beds and we love them as that is what we sleep in at Home. We slept very well and in the morning headed to the Breakfast Room, We had fresh waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon & yogurt, the Person servicing the Breakfast Room kept everything replenished and was very friendly, while we were eating a Man in a Suit came in and looked around, we thought he was a Guest but turned out to be the Manager, apparently he is very hands on we had a lengthy conversation with him at check-out. Oh another thing, in the Breakfast Room they have a Coffee Machine instead of Coffee in Thermos Jugs, I was apprehensive to use it but it made very good Coffee as a matter of fact I made a cup of Cappuccino to take back to our room. I can't wait for our next shopping expedition to stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here one night while visiting relatives in the area. The hotel was easy to find and in a good location, as we needed to do some grocery shopping for a family bbq the following day.. There was a Weis grocery store down the road as well as gas stations, restaurants, etc. The hotel was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. It also had a gym, an indoor pool, and free breakfast. The breakfast was average (scrambled eggs, sausage,waffles.) The only thing missing was bottled water, as we wanted something cold to drink and they only thing they had was orange or apple juice (too much sugar for us). The main thing we were unhappy with was that there was no ATM on site and the vending machines do not accept debit cards. Neither does the clerk at the counter. The night we checked in we were very thirsty and could not get anything cold to drink other than tap water (awful). We were out of cash and only had our debit cards. The nearest ATM was at the gas station next door. I was told there was a path I could follow to get there. My husband recently had spinal surgery and was in pain so he couldn't walk there, and I was not about to walk alone at night in a strange place, nor were we willing to get back in the car to drive to an ATM so we had to settle for horrible tap water. I suggest they get an ATM in their lobby for the convenience of their guests.

My boyfriend and I went to The Poconos, so we need an hotel to stay 3 days out of the city (New York) we choose The Best Western just because I read the reviews and it fulls my expectations, once we were there, the reviews were nothing, the employers all are great, but the ladies in the reception were exceptional to me, specially one with blonde hair and glases, I forget to ask for her name but she were really helful, because we were kind of lost, and she guides us... I would like to come back same hotel, with same staff...

Hotel is conveniently located, staff are very friendly, and rooms look very nice inside. Unfortunately we got very poor sleep with our room being too warm (thermostat was set to 61 but probably stayed above 70 all night) and the pillows were MUCH too large to sleep comfortably. I would suggest bringing your own pillow if your room has a king bed.

In our constant effort to improve our hotel and our guests' experience we have recently placed new, king size pillows in our guest rooms with king beds. I am sorry they were not to your liking, but you make an excellent suggestion for our future guests to bring their own pillows if they have a preference for a different size/style of pillow. We stayed on the nights of May 6 & 7. The inn is classified as a "Plus," although I wouldn't go so far as to say that it was that exceptional. Best Western Plus is supposed to be more upscale than its sister properties that bear the name Best Western (without the Plus name). I had actually stayed at a regular Best Western in Cumberland, Maryland on the night of May 5 that was a nicer property. Don't get me wrong, though. The property had very attractive rooms and hallways. It had pretty carpeting in the hallways and guest room. The beds were very comfortable, and they gave each bed three pillows. You can't beat the location, which is very close to the Interstate, off of Exit 299. You can go to the large factory shopping outlet for in just a couple of minutes. The breakfast room seemed to be a bit small and crowded for such a large facility. There is a good-sized indoor pool, but there is no hot tub. I wouldn't have a problem with staying at this facility again, and it is one of the nicest inns in the area.

The computer was down on our arrival so we had to take a seat until the frustrated clerk could get it restarted, it took 15 minutes. The room was very clean and even though it was close to the highway was very quiet. It's located 2 minutes from a outlet mall so that was a bonus. Lots of restaurants in the area to choose from and a casino about 15 minute drive.

This trip was very economical and relaxing. I love Best Western hotels and have stayed at several. I highly recommend. Also, very accommodating to families with kids. The highlight of my trip was that the outlet was five minutes away. Also, a variety of restaurants within two to three miles.

The facility was pretty and very clean. The staff were professional in appearance and with interaction with the guests. The continental breakfast was good, with several items to choose from. Overall, a great stay.

Professional & polite staff. The room was nice and Cozy. My kids loved the pool area, I was relieved the pool was clean and well kept. We had a nice stay, even if it was just for the night. We would definitely stay here again.

This a excellent hotel to stay if your planning a trip to any of the nearby waterparks and shopping areas in the Poconos. It has a fitness room, indoor pool, free breakfast, and free parking. it is a great option for family trips.

Upon arrival we stepped into a clean, warm, and sunny lobby. Jackie at the desk was genuinely pleasant and welcoming. She answered our questions and made sure were settled. Our rooms were clean and quiet. No specks or dirt or dust or stray hair anywhere. The bathroom was gleaming but small - not a big deal for us who have bathrooms at home anyway. There are microwaves in the room. I've never seen that before! Housekeeping during our stay was exceptional. Breakfast was filling - make-your-own waffles, pork sausage, eggs, cereal, delicious coffee, and juice. My son enjoyed the Danimals yogurt - great call on stocking kid-friendly yogurt. My advice for breakfast is to get there early because it could get crowded and the tables aren't that many. The location can't be beat. It's right off I-80 and close to other attractions in the Poconos. it's less than 5 minutes away to the Outlets too. My only suggestion for improvement would be the indoor pool. It would be better if it was heated, and if there was maybe hourly or frequent checks to see if towels are stocked (they ran out the few times we took a dip) and if the pool area is clean. I saw assorted small bits of trash on the concrete lip of the pool. All in all I was satisfied with my experience. Your staff Jackie, Betty, housekeeping, the ladies at breakfast, they're all great! Will definitely return if we visit the area.

I really like this hotel is very nice the lobby is very clean the rooms are very clean. The only thing I have to say bad is that the breakfast has all pork items. There is non pork items for those whom don't not eat pork. Just have more items that pleases everyone would be great.

Stayed here for a night, and we were pleased. Clean, mostly up-to-date, and everything working like it should. Seemed overall fairly updated, with nice furnishings and electric outlets. Bathroom ok, nice shower area with natural look solid surface - not cheap plastic nor tiles, but looked good. Bathroom needed towel racks, hangers. Relatively less expensive than other more resort-like places.

The experience was very good. I enjoyed all the amenities and the staff were very friendly. The rooms were well clean and the breakfast was delicious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a peaceful get away.

Hotel has s great location. Right off exit In heart of Poconos. Staff was super Friendly and helpful . Room was very clean and the shower was very good Internet was also very good. Was with my family and we wanted to get away for a couple of days. I usually pre-plan but I figured this time of year we would have no problem finding a place. We headed towards the Poconos from NYC. We pulled over near camelback. I use to ski there as a kid. What a great choice we made to stay at this Best Western. From the minute I met Jackie the Desk Clerk I was impressed. Super friendly staff all around. Breakfast was much more then you get even when you pay and this was free. Indoor pool was clean and gave the kids something to do. My wife was happy to have a fitness room to use. The location is near everything. The room was so clean we felt as if we were the first people to use it. I was shocked to see a working fireplace in the room. Amazing! I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. We will be back.

The breakfast buffet was excellent every morning the staff were extremely nice housekeeping was excellent prices were reasonable and the overall experience was definitely well worth it I will definitely go back

The Hotel is pretty good and its nestled in the Middle of most activities in the Area. The Breakfast Lady is very welcoming. They served Breakfast for Champions, sausage&egg, pancakes and Whipped cream.You can't beat that! We will be back. :)

I reserved Best Western Plus after a last minute decision to visit 100 Outlet Mall, for some Christmas shopping, the mall is just around the corner from the hotel. Very nice surprise when we get to the hotel, everything was clean outdoor and the same was indoor. The front desk guy was very friendly and helpful in assisting us with recommendations on where to eat. Our room was absolutely comfortable, clean and also has a good size for a couple. The rooms includes microwave, fridge, coffee maker. This time we stayed one night only, but our next stay will be for a whole weekend for a Romantic Winter Getaway, I will choose a room with fireplace and whirlpool !! The breakfast was super good and the lady that is in-charge of that area is super kind.

Why have an indoor pool is the water is cold? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of an indoor pool. Double beds are not double. No way are they double wish I had a measuring tape. Bathroom door hit the toilet that's how small it was. Breakfast was delightful (eggs are not real) waffles yum!!! and staff friendly and nice. Gym is nice great fresh spring water. Wouldn't stay here again bc indoor pool was cold :(

I have checked with our maintenance department, and our pool water is at regulation temperature of 80 degrees. Since our bodies are at 98 degrees, that is still going to feel chilly until we acclimate to it. It is a refreshing pool, not a hot-tub, so the water will not be bath temperature. I apologize for any inconvenience, and we hope you will stay with us again in the future.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Excellent service and lovely room. The location is great as far as restaurants are concerned and Mt. Airy the casino is also close by. My friends and I plan to visit this Best Western again as it was an enjoyable time.

Overall the hotel was nice, especially for the price. The rooms were recently renovated with very modern furnishings, but unfortunately the hallways, and common areas and layout of the hotel are still dated. Not a huge deal, but the layout was especially confusing with parts of the main floor including the lobby being blocked off by a series of doors and linking staircases between the three floors. We got lost easily a couple of times trying to find the back entrance. We had a room with a fireplace which was a nice addition and provided the feel of being inside a rustic cabin without the cabin price. Breakfast was okay. Big selection, but not a lot of healthy choices beyond yogurt and fresh fruit. Fitness equipment was brand new and in great working order. My biggest quibble would be with the quality of cable TV and reception. I could not get over how poor the picture quality was on the TV. The TV was brand new, so it wasn't an issue with equipment. I don't know if they had the settings on the TV set-up wrong (as the TV in the fitness center was so much more clear) or if the cable signal was just of a poor quality. So, if you want to watch TV in the evening be prepared to endure a fuzzy reception and poor contrast.

This was a last minute booking before heading off to another part of the mountains, and it turned out to be a nice surprise. The room we were in (two full-size beds) was small but appeared recently renovated. Everything was clean and in good order. The front desk staff at check-in were welcoming and engaging (the same duo were there at check-out too)... not distracted or disinterested like some hotels we've been to. Their pool area is simple and very nice, though we did not have time to go in the water. The fitness room looks pretty up-to-date too. The game room on the second floor needs a little attention. All in all, we were very happy with this hotel. It is clean, quiet, convenient, and a good place to get some rest.

This was a great hotel for a romantic weekend. Lighting the fire place was a little hokey since Shawn the maintenance guy had to come up to light it, but the next night a duraflame log from CVS did the trick. Just make sure to take off the wrapper to reduce ash. The heart shape whirlpool tub was great. Sorry to any other guests for the singing.

For travelers on the road needing a good sleep and relax, this is the place. complete facilities. Plenty of good food around all types and prices. Supreme Outlet Mall around the corner and all the roads to the Poconos are near by.

This was our stop over after a long drive from Cape Code and before we drove to Washington DC. Loved Pocono shame we only had the one night stay. This is a quiet area with plenty of shopping and various attractions close by. The hotel included hot breakfast and free parking such a great bounus. The rooms have excellent facilities fridge, microwave and coffee machine. Spacious rooms clean and comfortable. There was a pool and fitness centre coffee in the lobby 24hours. We had an excellent welcome by Chris.

Both the room and bathroom were small but adequate. Carpet at the door entrance was a bit worn but otherwise everything was in good condition. 2 double beds with 3 pillows on each. Empty fridge and a microwave in the room for your use and free coffee & tea in room and foyer. Was also nice and quiet and came with a free hot breakfast. Good value for the price.

Stopped here on our way to NYC (after driving for 6 hrs straight). It was very late and we were trying to find a place ASAP. The front desk person (Tony) was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and the only thing that really was not up to par was carpet (some weird smell when we came in the room) but nothing that would make you leave and search somewhere else. Breakfast the next morning was excellent. Everything was so fresh and clean. Again the lady that was there was very helpful and friendly. Check out staff in the morning was super nice as well. Did not use the pool but my sister checked it out and she wished we had time to jump in. She said it look very clean and inviting. Trust me, after all the travel I did all week, this was a nice, friendly, clean, and relaxing surprise. If ever traveling those parts I will definitely go back...and make time for pool time for sure.

staff made this trip extra nice but no elevator to 3rd floor breakfast nice room nice and clean - check in and check out time not worth the cost of stay unfortunately - 4pm ck in and 11 am ck out they have a pool but unless you jumped in and out you wouldn't have a chance to really use it because of ck in and out times - a lot of hotels have started using this small window to stay so cost of stay should adjust down not up also

Very pleasant experience from arrival to departure. Quick check-in; cart & elevator readily available; complimentary coffee/tea at all times. Room had comfortable beds & chairs. Bathroom was clean; Shower pressure & settings better than home. Breakfast choices (& service) were excellent!!!

Great Staff Expected level of free breakfast Perfect location to navigate the area from. Comfortable rooms. Updated work out facility. Plenty of parking close to outside entrances. Close to a wide variety of businesses.

The hotel was nice and the staff friendly. Location in the Pocono's was great for shopping, visiting attractions, etc. Plus easy access to all the major highways. Also, many fine restaurants in the area to get a meal and also the Mt. Airy Casino is close for golfing, gambling and entertainment.

I was impressed as soon as I arrived. Staff courteous and friendly. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was delicious with a nice selection. Great location off the highway. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in Tannersville because it was centrally located to the golf courses we were playing. The rooms were very nice for a reasonable price. When I do another Poconos golf trip, I will have no qualms about staying here again.

My husband & I were cerebrating our 40th Wedding Anniversary. At the Best Western Plus in the Poconos Mountains, Tannersville, Pa., and it was a great choice! Our room was very clean, no mold, no nasty smells. Shower very clean as well as the rest of the bathroom. We were in a corner room, which was fine with us. GREAT FREE breakfast, every morning. Staff was VERY friendly & helpful. We only stayed 2 notes, but plan to return! P. S. BENNY'S on Rt 715 south about 5-6 miles down the road has GREAT food from pizza to a VERY large portions of Chicken Marsala. Which was some where close to Heaven! Our server was a good kind hearted young woman which made our meal all the better!

We stayed here for one night last week and we were pleasantly surprised. Extremely friendly staff, a clean room with a comfortable bed and a decent breakfast. A great value and would not hesitate to go back!

I stayed one night at this hotel. Upon arrival, check-in was smooth and front desk personnel was very courteous and efficient. I'm a platinum member of BW Rewards, but was not greeted as such nor was I offered any special welcome (normally even bottled water is offered). When I got to the room, the door was wide open - a first for me. Made me wonder if this is a standard practice or not. First thing was to find out if someone else was already in the room. Checked the closet and bathroom for anyone who might be in there. That was a bit creepy. The room smelled very stale. There was a de-humidifier in the hallway leading to the room - that should have been the tipoff. And behind the de-humidifier was a scented wall plug-in to mask the odor. The bathrooms are very small but functional. There were no wash cloths provided. Internet was sufficiently fast. Breakfast was ok, standard fare for BW. Tried to print some documents before leaving to my work for the day. Business Center computers did not have Office software - no Word or Excel. When I opened my files, they were totally distorted and not printable. Even a PDF file was not printable. Overall, this place is a disappointment. I will not return to this hotel and will opt for a Holiday Inn Express or anything else that is a national chain with higher standards of service.

This hotel was clean, quiet and everyone was nice. It is around the corner from a pistol range and the outlets so if you needed any of these it is ideally located. It was a deal for my friend's 60th bday party who lived 18 miles away.

Room was nicely decorated, comfortable, clean and everything in working order. Nice staff. The included breakfast was better than the usual free breakfast. There was a nice variety, and staff were making sure everything was well stocked and clean. We were in a king bed jacuzzi room. The room rate was less than you'd pay for a basic room at most places, so we felt like we got a great deal.

We stayed at the Best Western in Pocono area. It was the most comfortable, cleanest and best Breakfast of 7 stays on our trip to Bar Harbor Maine and back. If ever in this area again, we will stay at this Best Western.

Stayed here in September 2016 for a friend's annual golf trip in the Poconos. Checked hotels in the area and this place was the best rated and most cost effective. Was charged $147 a night as opposed to Mt. Airey Casino that was charging $450 a night. 10 minute ride from hotel to Mt. Airey Casino. This hotel appeared to have gone through a partial remodel. Lobby was nice and rooms were nice as well. Could use new carpeting or flooring in hallways and rooms. Furniture was new, mattress was fine, bathroom was small, but clean and funtional. All in all, I'd recommend staying here if looking to save a few $$$ and be close to all the Poconos offers. Close to Interstate 80 too.

Nice Hotel, close to everything, Staff was friendly, Breakfast buffet was nice But the room is to small to have everyone in the hotel be there at once it seemed my whole stay there, Had to eat out in the hallway.

This was our first time visiting Poconos. I called the hotel and reservation was very professional, they also offered me discount. The check in and out was very good. All staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good and staff at the breakfast were extremely friendly and helpful. One of them went beyond my expectations unfortunately, I did not take her name so I can mention to her supervisor. Room was clean however, box bed needs some adjustments as they were tilting. Hotel is near all important areas lots of restrautaunts, outlets, parks, etc. Nice pool.

The rooms were clean also had a micro wave , coffee machine and fridge in the room which was a great convenience . It was peaceful and somewhat secluded but close to shopping and restaurants . I am happy with the staff and the service given. I will use the Best Western again.

The nightmare began when we checked in. The room was very dark and gloomy even with all the lights on. Room 101. It was the last room of that type so we couldnt change rooms. Upon unfolding the covers on the bed we realized the sheets were badly stained . There were blood stains on the pillow cases, brown stains on the duvet cover and the sheets seemed to have black mold like stains all over one side. We were so grossed out! They did change them right away however, the new sheets they put on didnt help the stained pillows underneath. You could see the stains through the pillow cases. The worst part of this room was the entire BATH ROOM! The tiles and grout around the tub were so cracked and mildew/moldy that it smelled horrible. The whirlpool tub is new but the rest is old and decaying. The water from the shower just seeps into the cracks or sits on top of the flat tile and never drains anywhere. There was some type of drippings on the wall near the toilet and the vent cover had all kinds of weird colored stains on it as well. As a result there was mold growing in the cracks which stunk up the whole bathroom let alone the smell came into the bedroom. We couldnt breath and had to keep the bathroom door closed all night so we could sleep! Using the bathroom was a nightmare because of the moldy smell! We had to hold our breath everytime we went in there and came out with a headache. We reported the aweful moldy smell to the front desk staff right away but they didn't have another room for us! They said they would tell the manager and he would speak to us in the morning. Upon check out of course the manager wasnt there. The staff gave us $25.00 off the room which was a nice gesture but doesnt make up for not being able to breath all night! Later in the day we did speak with the manager over the phone who apologized about the room and said he would go check out the situation himself. He said he would send us a $25 voucher because of our troubles for our next stay. We have been home for a week an still have not received it! Who would want to go back to this location anyway?! Staff was nice but our stay was a hazard to our health! This was the worst room We've ever stayed in. Although they have redone some parts of this hotel others parts are not maintained or clean! Help!

Recently stayed here for a couple days. The location is great for easy on/off of I80 and many area attractions/restaurant. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. Downside: the bathroom was crazy small and the mattress was very poor quality (lumpy). The price was average for the area. Overall, I wouldn't avoid staying here if we are in the area again.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. After reading mixed reviews, we were hesitant to stay at this hotel. We decided to give it a shot after hearing that it was "recently renovated." What a mistake! Our room was disgusting. The walls and ceiling were all battered, cracked, black and filthy. The photos don't even show how gross it was because they had minimal lighting. The carpet was torn and stained. The bathroom smelled like urine and there were yellow stains on the shower curtain. The room smelled old and musty. We had a whirlpool in our room, which was dirty and had someone's hair in it. When we turned on the jets, debris came shooting out (SO GROSS!). The coffee maker had not been cleaned and had white residue inside of it. The bed had soiled stains all over it... AND to make matters WORSE, I woke up with bug bites on my legs. We didn't even feel comfortable eating our snacks in this suite. The staff, particularly the General Manager, couldn't care less about you as a customer. He didn't try to accommodate us in the least and was very rude when we brought our issues to him. This is the worst customer service experience I've ever had. Spend the extra money and go to Skytop Lodge; that's what we did after visiting this nightmare!

Great Stay! The hotel was located in a good area. The room was very nice. The staff was very welcoming and interested in making our stay enjoyable- even offered a dinner recommendation! We enjoyed our time there.

Needed a hotel last minute since my original hotel got flooded and got stuck in a dump the previous night. I was pleasantly surprised by what a nice stay I had. Room was very clean, bathroom needs a slight update of the floors but overall newer, good counter space. Bed was ultra comfortable. The best part was the staff, they were very very helpful and after I told them my bad situation, they let me check out an hour late for free and held my luggage the next day while I did some retail therapy in the Tannserville Outlets which is like 800 feet away so that si great. The staff really made my horrible weekend much better, thanks!

We spent 2 nights at the Best Western in Tannersville. The hotel is very close to the outlets, Big Pocono state park and Camelback mountain and the Mount Airy Casino. We had a comfortable room that was clean and well stocked with towels etc. We even found a nice little diner down the street Billys Pocono Diner that had very good food. our only issue was the free breakfast--the room was so tiny and too crowded--we ate out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will go back to this hotel when we visit the area again.

I enjoyed my stay at Best Western Plus Poconos Hotel, the staff was very friendly & helpful, the non-smoking room I got was clean, the room was nice and cold since I had a long and hot day at CamelBeach Water Park, I needed the cooling!!!

Stayed for one night on our way to a house rental. To me it didn't seem like a "Plus" hotel. Our room #326 was situated at the top of a stairwell away from the other rooms on the floor. Our only window overlooked the indoor pool so we had no direct view to the outside and couldn't open the draperies because of the swimmers below. Bathroom was very small. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast consisted of eggs, sausage, cold and hot cereals, bread and bagels, muffins, donuts, yogurt, and make your own waffles. Decent. Not sure if I would return but for one night it was ok.

Hotel was very nice and did the job. Room was clean, bathroom is really small and tight but for a one night stay it was fine. Breakfast was a hot mess! Got there around 8:30am only to find it so crowded we couldn't get any food and the items we did want, was gone. It says breakfast ends at 10am, but almost everything was gone by 8:30am, so we had to leave and found a McDonald's 6 miles away. We would stay here again but next time we'd have to make sure to get up really early just to grab something to eat!

If anyone is looking for a great place to stay this is the place not only is it in a great location the hotel and its staff are great people and clean.. you are only 10 mins from the casino and the waterparks for kids and dont forget shopping is right there looking for a hotel this is the one

it was very good. the bathroom door would stick and the pool was colder than i thought it would be but the room where the pool was hot. overall this was a great stay. the staff was very nice and friendly. i would recommend it and i would stay there again.

Celebrating our 22nd wedding anniversary with a short get-a-way, we stayed at this hotel for a night. The staff was very accommodating, very friendly, and very thoughtful. We were greeted in our room with a dozen roses and an a card with a handwritten message. We enjoyed the use of the in-room hot tub as well as the indoor pool. The breakfast was good and included eggs, bacon, sausage, and make your own waffles. The only downside was that the breakfast room was overcrowded which made things a little tight. Overall, it was a very good stay and we would stay here again, no questions asked.

Our first visit to this hotel, we were pleasantly surprised at how classy the room looked and how well appointed it was. The breakfast room was a bit small and therefore was overcrowded for breakfast, so it just took us a little longer than anticipated. I got a room here easily from the polite and helpful front desk staff, late in the evening after a long day of hard driving and unexpected issues. I did not have a reservation. The room was surprisingly quiet, since there is a lot of nightlife in this area and I was closer to main walkways in the hotel. Overall not well-kempt and had a dirty feel.

Great hotel for the money that's convenient to everything. Room was nice, clean and comfortable. Beds were comfy, but double vs a queen size. Free hot breakfast was delicious and a variety of things to please everyone. Staff is friendly and efficient. Advertises for a fitness room ... didn't get to use as it was busy. Also advertises for a heated pool. It has a very clean pool, but not so much heated.

First and foremost the front desk staff and the hotel staff in general were very accommodating and friendly. Sanjiv Gosain, the General Manager, went out of his way to make sure that even though we had problems during the stay we were given a discount on our stay and threw in some points. The hotel is very well maintained, the beds were comfortable and the pool was clean and the breakfast was better than most. Rooms and Housekeeping need to be upgraded. Will be back for sure.

Hotel was clean and staff was very accommodating. Many restaurants around the area also. Very close to I-80 and outlets also. Indoor pool was clean. Breakfast area is small, so get there early. About 20-25 minutes to Pocono Raceway.

The hotel is amazing and the room was wow!!!! :) My wife and I are definitely coming back. It was our 5th year anniversary and since we got there at check in, Ketty (My apologies if that's the wrong name) she made us feel at home, very professional and friendly. Highly recommended!

No microwave full breakfast wasn't a full breakfast. Continental at best. Somewhat clean. Second floor smelled like pee. All front desk staff were friendly and helpful EXCEPT the front desk person that also doubled as the maid. Very rude rotten attitude, would not recommend this hotel.

Hello Tracy. I'm not sure if you have the correct hotel. All of our rooms contain a microwave and minifridge and we don't have any front desk personnel who also work housekeeping. We have a hot breakfast buffet which serves scrambled eggs, sausage, yogurt, fresh fruit, pastries, etc. I hope next time you are in the area you will give us a try.

My family had a very enjoyable stay in the hotel. Very clean rooms, free hot breakfast, pool is clean and well-maintained, courteous and friendly staff, very near to attractions and in a quiet area. We will definitely pick this hotel the next time we are in the area.

This place has Bed Bugs. DO NOT STAY HERE. Rude staff, did not help us fixing this issue at all. Nasty place with bugs in the bed. Ruined our stay and we had to leave early, due to my wife's swollen hand when she got bitten by the bugs in the middle of the night.

We stayed at this hotel for one night during a road trip. The main reason for choosing this hotel was for its pet friendly policy. Overall the property is alright, mostly clean, the breakfast hall is too small to accommodate everyone. It has a pool which we never used but seemed decent from a distance. My main issue with this hotel is the crib they provided. It was a pack n play which is pretty standard. However it was obvious that this particular pack n play was kept in a smoking environment for a long time, it stunk big time. I sprayed it down with a bottle of Febreeze and it didn't work at all. I called the front desk and they said they didn't have any more left and the best they can offer was to sanitize it. Not sure why it wasn't sanitized in the first place or thrown away because expecting people to have their babies/kids sleep in a stinky pack n play is a stupid expectation. The receptionist told me that if I kept nagging, she would hang up on me. Clearly I was agitated and angry and instead of apologizing, she threatened to hang up on me. Needless to say, I was the first to hang up. The next day when I told the front desk about the stinky pack n play, they apologized a million times so I didn't escalate it any further. Luckily I won't have to stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Plus in Tannersville, PA. We travelled to the Poconos for a surprise birthday party and we were so pleased we picked this hotel. We would definitely stay there again.

We were attending meetings at the Kalahari convention center. The value was worth staying less than 10 mins away. The service people are fantastic at the hotel. I like the location away from the resort, but still close enough to enjoy if you choose to do so. Our group enjoyed a quiet swim more accustomed to our liking than the water park nearby.

Very Poor. The room A/C intake air comes from the indoor pool area, therefore is heavily of a chlorine odor, could effect breathing for some people. The bathroom, excluding the shower area, was 5ft by 6ft total and the sink surface was below my crotch, I am 5'-7". The sleeping experience was that of sleeping inside of a Christmas tree. We could find no redeeming qualities for this stay, other than the very accommodating staff.

Had to stay somewhere on a tight budget that was near all major attractions in the poconos. Location is perfect. It's near outlets, water parks, shopping and plenty of places to eat. Hotel was clean. Staff is friendly. They offer free breakfast but we didn't eat it so I can't rate it. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a great hotel. Close to Camelbeach, outlets, horseback riding and much more. Very central located in Tannersville. The pool is very clean along with the rooms and the entire hotel. Staff is very friendly and accommodating to all your needs. Breakfast is a fantastic bonus. Eggs, bacon, sausage, coffee, juice, cereal and pastries, etc and much more. I totally recommend this hotel to all.

Good clean hotel with great location next to Premium Outlets, restaurants, and everything Pocono has to offer. Good hot breakfast is included. Easy checkin. . Management and staff were accommodating..

A hotel that does not respect the clients cant have positive feedbacks. And we are not talking about an adult but a baby. A baby that slept on the floor because the hotel policy is to give the baby cribs "first come first serve", even when the reservation is already prepaid and made for a long time. Worst than that, and to clean their face, they send an email on the same day the client arrives...for international clients that is the same as nothing because they dont have internet access. As the room is already prepaid, the hotel has nothing to lose, besides off course their reputation!! Be also advised that althought the room looks nice, the mattress is terrible.

The breakfast was a joke. Below continental. This is a MOTEL. The bathrooms are not maintained well at all. The carpets have dust mites. This place is for the homeless. THE BLANKETS ARE SCARY. I have no idea about this beautiful suite people are mentioning on the reviews but I was with a group and we had about 6 rooms and they all looked like dumpster Dives

I will tell other people and family to stay in this hotel clean attentive, they willing to go to the string to help you and any matter I will recoment this hotel. this hotel very convenient to everything to the mall, restaurant, to my family and friend and to the water park.

We stayed here for a race weekend, as it was late planned and options were slim. The hotel lobby is modern and clean, but the rooms left something to be desired on the the cleanliness front as we had loose change and a store price tag on the floor, which any decent cleaning would have easily taken care of. Moreover, there was a huge stain on the curtain. The bathroom is very small, e.g. the open bathroom door goes right to the toilet. Breakfast, unlike other business class hotels, did not start until 7, so those with an early start cannot take advantage of it. Staff was ok, but did not seem concerned about any of the foregoing when mentioned. Indoor pool looked nice but we didn't use at as we only needed a place to lay our heads for the night. It is right by the outlets and Rt. 80 so the location is convenient.

We waited until last minute to book for a race weekend, and didn't have many options so we tried this hotel. The location is convenient right near 80, the outlets and not too far from Pocono Raceway. However, cleanliness left something to be desired as there was loose change, and a store tag on the floor of our room, as well as a large stain on the curtain. Unlike most business class hotels we stay in the breakfast does not start until 7 a.m. so if you need an early start, like we did, you will miss out on that. We needed a place to lay our head for a night and it served the purpose. However, next time we will book earlier to have other options to consider. We did not use the indoor pool, though it did look nice.

I was here in the middle of May. Very nice rooms. The suite is clean and spacious. The bathroom was a little small. The have an indoor pool that is nice and warm. It is also down the road from the Crossings Outlet.

This hotel has the feel of a motel that has been slightly renovated. We were booked for a non-smoking room with a king bed and jacuzzi and upon arrival to our room we immediately noticed a TERRIBLE SMOKE SMELL due to the wood burning fireplace. As soon as we opened the door and we walked around we immediately realized that we could not sleep well here inhaling the unbearable smell. We went back to the lobby with luggage in hand and informed the front desk and they said we were lucky we didn't book a Smoking Room, because those are even worst. Then we were given another room with a King bed and again it had a fireplace and the smell was even worst than the first one. Thirdly, we were given the only other option: a room with 2 double beds and a tiny bathroom. We took that since there was no smell of smoke. But then the bathroom door did not open all the way due to the curved shower bar. This hotel needs to shut down for a total gut renovation. Don't waste your time of money here. We couldn't bear to stay for our 2nd night and ended up checking out early and drove 30 more minutes to Dickson City to stay at the Holiday Inn Express for the same rate and a beautiful and clean room with a king bed. Now the Best Western does not want to refund our 2nd night stay even though we checked out after just 1 night. Terrible Customer Service! Do Not stay here!

Beachbumchic, I apologize for the odor you experienced in the room. Since our fireplaces are wood-burning, the do tend to have a campfire-like smell. We do have King rooms without fireplaces that may be a better option if you are sensitive to the smell. I do hope you will give us another chance to better serve you in the future. Please call us directly to make any future reservations, as we can not make adjustments to reservations made through third parties.

Well it is an older place so we were willing to give the benefit of the doubt but, it really was terrible! The rooms have a terrible stench and they are disgustingly dirty. We had to move rooms at 9:30 at night when we discovered our bathtub did not drain and the hotel employee couldn't fix it. So our 2nd room smelled worse (if that was possible) and it was even dirtier! There were potato chips ground into the carpet and the AC was spewing black stuff out of it. We had to cover the AC w the curtain so that we could still stay cool but the black stuff wasn't being inhaled by us. It was noisy due to being by the highway. We did not sleep well because we were all so itchy. I didn't see any bugs but I think we were all just so outdone by the filth that it got to us. The room and bathroom were really small. The only good things I can say is that the pool was a good size and the breakfast was very good.

I wanted to spend the weekend with my mom shopping and relaxing and we did just that. The outlets were right across the street and the hotel was clean and comfortable, only the room was a bit small for the roll out bed I requested but other than that it was a great weekend.

This place is acceptable to stay for an overnight which we did for The Crossings shopping trip. There really isn't a lobby to speak of. There is a front desk when you first walk in. The front desk clerk wasn't a happy camper. Honestly I didn't care but a smile goes a long way. They do claim to have a breakfast which is in a very small room and has the normal fare, but the amount of people eating and no one maintaining the area it can get nasty fast. The hot food was gone. We took a look and left for the diner for breakfast. If you want to feed the kids and save some time and money it is worth a look. For some reason we were given a handicap room and the bathroom was in need of cleaning. It is good for overnight which is what we stayed for. I would have been disappointed if I was booked there for longer.

I stayed in a suite here. It was great. Lots of room and quite. Beautiful pool and fairly close to many activities. The Crossings Outlets right down the road that has many great stores. Will come back and stay again.

The hotel is clean and seems to be well appointed. The front desk clerk was great as was the rest of the staff. The complimentary breakfast was "average" with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurts and cereals available. The wall seem to be "paper thin" and you can hear your neighbors. For the price I would stay here again. I've been in much worse and at the price I paid, I haven't really seen much better.

Travel in late February and hotel almost deserted. About average for Best Western chain. Great location for Pocono Racetrack. Pool was nice and warm, and we had it so ourselves. It was a "Lazy Week" for us, so we never got up in time for breakfast buffet.

We stayed in this hotel for one night while we were on our way to New York City for the weekend. We read the reviews before booking the hotel and the site that we looked at had an overall rating of 3.9 out of five stars. That sounded fairly decent for a one night stay but we certainly came to regret that decision. This appears to be an older hotel that has been remodeled, which is good. However, the bed was extremely uncomfortable to the extent that it was difficult to get a good night's sleep. And then there was the bathroom! The bathroom was very small and cramped and the tub was disgusting. There was a long dark hair on the edge of the tub and the drain was obviously clogged so no water went down the drain while showering. I had to wait about 15 minutes after my husband finished his shower to be able to shower because it took that long for the water to drain out of the tub. I showered as quickly as I could hoping the tub wouldn't fill with water again. Hair that didn't belong to either of us was floating around in the water in the tub and hanging from the shower curtain. There was also crud along the edges of the floor and around the bottom of the outside of the tub. I mentioned the issues with the tub at the front desk when we checked out and the attendant apologized and said he would have maintenance check it out. It's hard to believe that the drain was that bad and the cleaning staff or another guest had not brought it to their attention previously. The free breakfast was sufficient to keep us from stopping on our way out of town to get something to eat. There was hot food available and the dining area was clean. Now, would I recommend this hotel to anyone or stay here again - NO! I would be willing to pay more for a better place to stay.

Booked last minute as a quick overnight stay. We needed something close to the outlets. We could actually walk. It's so close. Clean and pleasant. Friendly staff. Going back again for a longer stay in August to do school shopping.

Just an overall great experience. The location to many of the attractions were non-comparable. Plus to wake up in the morning not having to worry about breakfast is always a plus. Staff was very helpful and friendly as well. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable. Looking forward to my next stay.

This hotel is simple and clean average amenities indoor pool. Front desk is very helpful and staff are friendly. Desk very helpful in helping me find a restaurant with vegetarian options.Check in and out very quick and easy. Good value for money. Indoor pool was a bit cold and the towels in hotel run are small so if using pool I would bring your own towel.

For the price, I was definitely pleased with the hotel. Staff were friendly and polite, room was clean, pool and fitness center were clean. No problems with any of the service. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was fresh. Would recommend and would stay here again!

Average hotel with above average breakfast service. I waited a little longer than usual for a cot that I ordered but the hotel clerk was by himself that evening and he did apologize profusely later. I would probably stay there again.

All of our double rooms offer 2 full size beds, however, if you need a little more space, we do have King Suites which offer 1 king size bed and a full size sofa bed. Great price on tripadvisor. Only negatives were cheap towels and the breakfast didn't start till 7am. Not good for getting on the road on time. It was a Wednesday night. Good point was the outlets were right next door.

Rooms are clean.. Housekeeping staff and breakfast staff are very friendly and helpful. Front desk was cordial, but they seem frustrated about job comensation. No HBO..big disappointment when we missed first show of the season. Pool looked nice...no,hot tub. Coffee service was kept fresh 24 hrs. That was nice. Beds are comfy...but not outstanding. Good location for stores, restaurants. Laundromat is close, but not in hotel. I would book this place again.

My family of 3 stayed at this property while on a last minute getaway to the Pocono area of Pennsylvania. We arrived at about 5:45 on a Saturday night and we were able to book a nonsmoking double room for $107. The room was clean and in good condition. Breakfast in the morning was complimentary and included eggs, sausage, waffles and an assortment of continental breakfast items. It was more than enough to get us started for the day. The lovely lady that was working in the breakfast room was super friendly. I'm sorry I didn't catch her name as she deserves recognition for being such an asset to the property, her personality added to the overall experience of staying at this hotel. I would not hesitate to book this hotel in the future and I am looking forward to a trip in the summer months to enjoy all the hot weather activities the area has to offer.

I was very happy with everything during my stay. The front desk employees were very helpful sand even found me the name of the mattress we had in our room as it was that comfortable. The breakfast was very good and the cleanliness of the room was wonderful!!!

Good hotel, 5 minutes from Camelback. Nice indoor door pool and good breakfast. However as a couple without kids, I'd recommend a room not near the pool as it can be noisy. We've used this hotel for both summer and winter visits to the area. Highly recommend it, especially for the price!

This hotel surpassed our expectations. The room was fantastic and huge. Our whirlpool was beautiful, spacious, and comfortably fit two people with plenty of room to spare. The furniture was classy and very well placed. The bed was extremely comfy (and we are very picky)! The front desk staff were approachable, friendly, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. They gave us some great recommendations on where to visit and were extremely informative when we checked in. Check in and out were a breeze and super fast. We loved this hotel and we will definitely be coming back and recommending!

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived, we thought it was a budget hotel for the price, but they exceeded our expectation. The rooms were nice and clean, with MW, C/maker, and mini-fridge. Staff was very nice, we enjoyed the pool, but the water was a tad chilly. Breakfast items were pretty good, scrambled eggs, waffles, etc. Close to attractions, food and a nice shopping mall.

We were in town to visit my aging mother in a nearby hospital and were exhausted from the 20 hour trip. Thankfully, the hotel was clean, comfortable, and very relaxing helping to ease our tensions at the end of each day. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly thorough and fresh with a variety of healthy choices and helped us start our day off well as we went to visit my ailing mother. This hotel provided us with a quiet relaxing refuge and getaway from a stressful situation. We are hopeful that my Mom will rebound so we can return for a longer visit and enjoy other amenities in the community, like Camel Back mountain, pottery shops, and the beautiful outdoors.

I stayed at the Best Western Plus last weekend. I will state the positives first because there are less. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and the fireplace in the room was nice although they seem to have a lot of trouble with them. Now the bad. The rooms are small and dark I was in 308 so perhaps a different room would not be so dark but with the old dates carpet and small window I doubt it. Next the breakfast is not very good. The sausage was cold and the scrambled eggs had no flavor. The worst part of the breakfast is the nasty girl who works in the breakfast area. The only cold drink available was orange juice the Apple juice wasn't working and they had no water available. I was travelling with my three year old son and when I asked her if she could help us get water she said no and told me I could go get it in the fitness room. When I explained to her that I was alone with my 3 year old who was sitting at the table and eating she suggested that I could leave him there and go get it or leave his food there and go get it with him. I have never been to a breakfast buffet that didn't offer a pitcher of water and to either leave my 3 year old alone at a table or interrupt him and take him to another area when someone who was working in the area could have easily helped is ridiculous. I did mention this to the woman at the front desk and she was very nice about it but she said they cannot have water available but she would get me water herself the next day which she did. 1 cup. There were 3 other guests discussing the lack of water available during breakfast. It was kind of ridiculous. Tap water and Ice is free so there is no reason to have it available for the hotels guests. Beyond that I found the hotel to be overall shabby and in need of update. I will not be staying here again.

Clean room, good location, good breakfast very nice staff. Staff was very helpful and giving directions to certain places. Location of this hotel is inches away from the Tannersville outlets. Also, the mount airy lodge casino is also close by. and must check out the cheese factory.

I would like to add that our hotel was recently renovated as of late 2014, including all-new mattresses. But mattresses are subjective, what is comfortable for one person may not be comfortable for another, and I apologize that you were not able to get a comfortable night's sleep on ours. I hope that our cleanliness, service, and convenient location were able to provide you with a comfortable stay otherwise.

We arrived Saturday at check-in time and were able to get in our room very quickly. The room was small, but nice and clean. The beds were full size; we would try to look for a room with queen size next time. The bathroom is tight, very small and hard to move around in, it did have products in case you forgot your shampoo, conditioner or soap. The breakfast area was very small for as many people that were in trying to eat on a Sunday morning. Some had to take food back to the room or stand and eat. The hostess did a good job keeping up with the disappearing food. The waffle makers definitely need replaced, even with a good spraying of non-stick, they did not work.

I just wanted to suggest for your next stay our King Suite. The suite room has a king bed in the main room and a pull out sofa-bed in the sitting room. There's a bit more space for you to move around. In regards to the breakfast room, Sunday is our busiest morning and it does tend to get a bit crowded. In April/May we are implementing a "grab and go" breakfast program that should help ease the congestion of the breakfast area. We appreciate your feedback and hope to see you again soon.

Hotel nice enough but just a little short of plus. Rooms small and still offering double beds. Bathroom updated and clean but tight even for one person. Breakfast area extremely small, unable to accommodate an even half full hotel. Fitness room minimally filled. Facility was clean. All is adequate but I wouldn't say "plus"

Had a very nice stay here at the Best Western. Service was friendly. Booked with Expedia, which turned out to be a slight problem. Call ahead and make sure you got the kind of room you requested (double beds, non-smoking, etc), because it will be switched with no notice. Otherwise, no problems at all. There are fireplaces in some of the rooms which were super nice and added a cool twist to the room. The breakfast was nice in the morning (but the staff member running breakfast was pretty rude, but not a huge deal). Waffles, cereal, sausage, eggs, pastries, etc. No water, for some reason. Check this place out for a cheap option to staying at Camelback.

We stayed here for two nights in order to do some local skiing and it was the right choice. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is within minutes of the local ski areas. Although we did not have time to use the pool and fitness room, it was nice to know they were available. The hotel provides a nice book of menus and we were able to order food in one night right to our door. Great coffee in the lobby too!

Went there with my family over the Valentine's weekend for a ski trip. On 2/14/16 6pm we informed the staff of a smell of smoke that was in the hallway. They said that some residual smoke came out of a fire place in a room near ours and nothing to worry about. It will vent. At 10pm the smell remained and the staff brushed off the problem as well. At 12am the fire alarm went off, fire department arrived. They opened the door to the room to get the smoke out, it escaped into the hallway and went into nearby rooms. We had to move rooms with our terrified kids. Next day they were nauseous and vomiting from the smoke exposure. We checked out and left forfeiting our prepaid lift tickets and ski rentals. At check out, at 11am, we asked to speak to the manager who was conveniently absent. We were told he was running late to work, and he would contact us. Needless to say he did not. My husband emailed him the following day and received a generic letter offering a $30 certificate. Really?!! I had 2 sick kids because the staff failed to respond properly to concern of the smoke 6 hours before the alarm went of, the manager was not there and unreachable even the next morning, there was only 1 staff person working that night who couldn't explain the situation, I loose money on the ski trip, and the best offer he give is $30. I certainly won't be staying at this place again

Hotel was clean, room was a good size, fridge, TV and microwave all worked. Very close to Camelback ski are and local shopping. Staff was helpful and courteous. Pool and fitness center looked inviting but did not have a chance to use these facilities.

Booked this hotel through a website that was labeled Best Western. I paid extra for a flexible booking so that I could cancel if I needed to. When I tried to cancel my third night the hotel told me I had sctuslly booked through expedia and would have to call Expedia. No where on my reservetion or on the booking site fidnit say Expedia. Was on hold with Expedia for 45 minutes trying to cancel and then they hung up on me. After checking ou of the hotel, they sent me a suvey asking for feedback on my stay. Five minutes after submitting it then hotel emailed me, not to apologize, but to complain about my bad review!

Reservations booked through third party online travel agents are subject to the terms and conditions that you approve when you submit your reservation online. Again, I apologize that your experience was frustrating and can only suggest that you contact the hotel directly for future stays. I also do not see anywhere in our survey responses that we emailed you complaining about your review. Please contact us directly if we can be of any further help.

the only thing bad about this hotel is the pool closes at 900 pm and when you have kids you need until at least 1100 when you check in they should tell you before you book.A lot of the quests were disappointed.

I know it can be hard to cut the night short when everyone is having such a good time at the pool, but we do have rooms that are above the pool area. We close the pool at 9:00 pm so that they can enjoy their stay and get a good night's rest as well. Thank you for staying with us and we hope to see you again soon!

Where to start. The third floor evidently has fire places. Every time one was being used it filled our floor (second floor) with smoke causing the smoke alarms to go off. We called the desk and was told an employee is on the way up. When we advised the employee about the smoke condition in our room we were told to deal with it they are all like that and to keep the door open. This time it was at 2 am . I have a 10 and 11 yo children up during this process which was the third time of the night. The next problem was the breakfast. There was a girl with red hair and tattoos that possibly has picked the worst job for her disposition. She was very hostile towards the guests cursing under her breathe when my 11 yo son asked her a question and was very annoyed, pushy and rude towards guests the both days. The breakfast room was very small for the amount of guests and the employees were not keeping up with food replenishment .

Nice hotel close to ski area , shopping , dining ect. . Great service and check in staff .Problems I encountered during my stay were slow internet and housekeeping took way too long to make up my room.

My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay for Valentines weekend. We loved how close this hotel was to Camelback ski mountain and the outlets. Our room had a hottub in the bathroom which felt great after a cold ski day. The only issue was the fire alarms went off in the middle of the night and no one informed us what was going on until we got dressed and walked downstairs. Our lights in the bathroom also stopped working the last night.

I apologize for the inconvenience with the alarm during your stay, unfortunately we did have a guest backup the fireplace in their room which caused the alarm to go off. It wasn't a fire emergency, and the fire department cleared us which is why we did not evacuate our guests. I hope you will be able to give us another chance to serve you in the future.

They said there was gonna be a bar and a hot tub online and the sign outside the hotel said there was going to be a hot tub and there was not one.Though it wasn't a deal breaker the bar scene was seriously lacking.

We (grandma+ grandpa) invited our daughter family (+husband + 4 kids) for 2 days on the slopes of Camelback ski resort. first timer. Great experience for al of us We chosed to stay at the Best Western hotel - and it was a really good decision. Helpful team, clean rooms. nice breakfast. And the proximity to the site + the lovely town (and close outlet). I have stayed in the past in all other hotels in the area`; but for a nice family vacation - this is the place. We reserved rooms with fireplace - though we were too tired to make use of them.. Higly recommended hotel

I stayed here with friends while in Tannersville. We had 2 rooms on the 2nd floor.We parked out back, so when you go inside you are on the second floor. No stairs or elevators needed.all doors inside which was a plus.Pool, vending and breakfast right there. The rooms were nice and fairly clean. I am a fussy traveler so some vacuuming behind the furniture should be in order once a month to keep the dust from piling up. The shower curtain had a few stains on it so these would be part of a 4 star rating. The second room had a rollaway bed added for an extra $15 a night with barely a spot to put it in.The breakfast was sufficient and the staff friendly and helpful. There was a $50 hold on each room for incidentals. I have stayed at several best westerns and this was a first. The crossings outlets were right there and it was a 5 minute drive to the casino. Plenty of things to keep you busy. Overall I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

This is a newly renovated property. The hotel and it's facilities are very good. They have a good breakfast and the service by the hotel staff during breakfast was quick, especially when replenishing items that were running out. The hotel is prett clean and has a good parking facility. It is situated at the base of the Camelback ski resort and it is good option if you want to stay at the base of the mountain. I will surely be going back to this hotel next time I visit Camelback.

This place gave us a nice quiet room with our pet and good wifi. The pool/sauna were open late, which was great after a long day on the road. They have a pretty strict pet policy, so bring your own bedding just in case.

I'm sorry, Michelle, but I think your review is for another location. Our property does not have pet rooms or a sauna. We hope you will keep us in mind for your next trip to the Poconos!

I had a King suite with a fireplace and a jetted tub on the 3rd floor. The hotel was adequate, but nothing special. My two main complaints are the size of the bathroom and the heating/AC unit in the room. Although those weren't the only things wrong. First, the bathroom was tiny and the thing that made it even worse was the door opened into the bathroom giving you even less space. You had to squeeze between the door and the sink to get in there. It consisted of a toilet, right in your face, a sink that you could literally wash your hands at while sitting on the toilet and a shower. The tub was in the living room area. The heating/AC unit in the room didn't work well at all. This was January so it was cold. We tried putting the temperature everywhere from about 62 to 72 degrees. No matter what temperature we tried we were either ice cold or boiling. We never found the temperature where the room was comfortable. Another issue was the microwave. It really didn't work all that well. You had to fiddle with the knob quite a bit to get it to work. We would have used the fireplace but we were afraid to after hearing a fire alarm go off one day thinking that maybe another couple tried and set off the fire alarm or something. Another issue is that there is only one elevator in the whole place. It's located near the main entrance, where the front desk is. So if you go into any other entrance of the hotel you have to climb the stairs. It's not terrible because it's only 3 floors but it could be a pain if you have to get your luggage to the other side of the hotel from where the main entrance is. As for the noise level, it wasn't so bad. There was one night where a couple was arguing rather loudly in the hallway. Other than that it was pretty quiet. The other thing I couldn't figure out was that I heard this hotel was renovated in 2014 yet the rugs and lots of other things there looked very old. My husband had been there like 15 years ago when it was still a Ramada and he said he didn't see any difference at all there. I'm giving it 3 stars in my review because the people at the front desk were very friendly both checking in and out and it was clean. I guess if you're going to Tannersville to go to Camelback mountain and ski or to go to the outlets and you're just concerned with having a clean place to sleep, then this is the place to go. Next time in the Poconos my husband and are are going to stay elsewhere.

I searched several hotels and decided to choose this one. The room was very clean nice size and the BED was HEAVEN lol. Most comfortable king size bed I have ever slept in. I would defiantly be staying there when I go back worth the money.

One of the best prices in the Pocono's. Friendly staff, clean rooms and great location ...right off the Tannersville, PA exit close to everything. Bathroom a little small and not sure the beds were actually Queen size but overall good stay.

The room rates were very good but know you get what you pay for - a fairly small room and a minuscule bathroom. One nice thing about the property is that it is built on a hill so you can drive around the back and access the second floor with no steps... neat!

Close to out let malls, quite and clean. The breakfast was fresh and hot. Staff were friendly. Easy on and of for hwy. 80. Nice indoor pool and work out area. Hotel was clean. Good view of the surrounding area.

The lobby of this Best Western was not the greatest not to mention 2 staff members playing on the computer with their feet propped up on the chair (not very professional) while we were checking in. The lady checking us in was very nice...quick easy check in. But the key factor for us was the great breakfast and the service while eating!!! Bar none the best..

Seems to be well run and clean. Not the most fabulously decorated but spacious and cheerful. The staff is very pleasant, best of all. Easy, convenient location. Easy in and out because of the access to parking.

This was a great place to stay. The room was clean. I got a room for disabled and it was great. The shower was designed for disabled perfect. The shower was walk in and very roomy. Had regular shower and hand held. A shower chair was available and pedestal sink was perfect for a wheelchair if needed. The shower had 2 bars and one attached to the floor for the toilet. Personnel were friendly and helpful of places to go and to eay We would go back and use this again. It also had a gym pool, free breakfast,

I feel it was a little high on price. There was no special amenities. I was especially disappointed the pool was closed when we had time to use it. Overall it was not a bad experience, but it was OK. The breakfast was a little above most hotels I've stayed at but nothing fantastic.

This hotel was a great place to relax and unwind. The room was great and the breakfast was fresh and filling. I enjoyed the roaring fireplace in my room and the large TV. The bed was very comfortable and firm. My two boys enjoyed the weight room and the beds they had.

I feel safe booking Best Westerns because they tend to be clean and comfortable. This particular hotel seemed a bit pricey for what I got. The rooms were somewhat small but didn't bother me much. What did bother me was the size of the bathroom. When you have to slide in beside the toilet to close the door that might be a clue that you should make the room slightly bigger. If you get a room here, ask for a room on the second or third floors. The first floor, where we stayed, was carved into the hill, so it had a bit of a musty smell. They even had dehumidifiers all along the hallways. The upper floors were much better-smelling. The breakfast was the most basic fare - nothing to get excited about. The staff was friendly, and for the amount of time we actually spent in the hotel, it was pleasant enough, I just think, after traveling around the area, some of the other hotels look a bit newer and more appealing for our next stay.

History Nerd, thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. I am sorry that we were not able to exceed your expectations during your trip. Please accept our sincere appologies. Our bathrooms can be a bit cramped. As a tip for future stays, I would recommend booking a room with a jetted tub, those rooms tend to have a larger bathroom, and would be a bit more comfortable for you. We do sometimes have to combat a bit of humidity, which is why we have the dehumidifiers on the first level. Sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your tip for future guests. Hotel is close to many attractions. Room clean and up to date. Staff at front desk was friendly and accomodating to met any request we had. The cleaning crew was alsao very helpful and accomodating. Free breakfast which is also very nice as well as convient, do not loose time looking for place to eat.

Thie hotel is near the Crossings outlet stores in Tannersville. The hoyel is convient to many attractions in the area. The rooms are nice size but the bathrooms tend to be small. There is a pool and gym are as weell as a breakfast room , wher they serve coffe, juice, ceral, waffles, eggs sausage, etc. The staff is very accomodating and friendly.

the hotel was great VERY close to the shopping, my employer offered me a discount with the hotel, the breakfast was good. no hassle for the check in we got there really early around 10 am and our room was already ready. great friendly staff as well. the washrooms could be a little bigger not enough space for 2 people to be in there at the same time

Room odor possible due to previous pet in the room. Pool only available till 9PM which should be listed in the advertising. Surprised they did not comp the room or offer points to make up for the issue as other chains would have done. They did provide the use of a deodorizer spray.

Room was nice, and so was the staff, but the layout of the building is very confusing, and the walls are paper thin. If the couple next door had got it on one more time in a single night I was going to knock on their door and ask for their autographs! Not much left to the imagination.

For the price paid compared to other hotels in the area this was more than reasonable. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The room while a tad cramped was big enough for 2 adults & 2 children. The free breakfast served was actually way better than I was expecting and had plenty to choose from. Personally not too sure what negative to speak of.

Although we had a short stay and it was for a sad occasion the hotel was very comfortable, great location, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. the room is a bit small but very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice spot in the Poconos area.

This is a nice place t o stay. The stay is absolutely lovely and helpful. The room was very clean and neat. Breakfast was fine. They need to replace the Nestle coffee machine with real coffee. Coffee was available in the lobby.
