"overnight stay"

While this hotel was ok it was not has nice has other Best Westers we have stayed at along RT 95. The attached restaurant was NOT worth our time. Staff was not the best, very slow and didn't seem to know quite what they were doing. Waitress told us to seat our selves and then asked if anyone had taken our drink orders, before we even got menus or silverware. Husband ordered beer battered cod and received fried flounder.

Staff was very friendly and we even got a gift bag for our dog! (Yoda says thanks??) Restaurant on property. Good food and nice people. Room was nice. Air conditioner worked well(last place we stopped, not so much) Plenty of room for my wheelchair. Would stay here again. Thanks!!

Our room was very clean with nice amenities including a refrigerator. The staff member we encountered was pleasant. Good location off the interstate, and the room rate was great. A washer and dryer were located in a breezeway. We had a first floor room which we liked because we could park our car right outside the door.

This was very clean and the staff EVERYWHERE was fabulous!! Front desk to the bar to the restaurant to the cleaning staff so accommodating. Thank you for such a pleasant experience. There isn't much at this location other than the hotel and restaurant but it is self contained and works super

This was our last hotel stop on our vacation making it the sixth place we stayed in our travels to Ohio, Smokie Mountains, and then back home to southern Florida. What a great check in experience with a "goody'' bag for my dog, Teddy, included. Water, treats, and more. Truly dog friendly place with friendly staff all around. The restaurant next door in the same building was an added plus for us. Room was clean and a huge courtyard for Teddy to enjoy. The pool was one of the largest I've seen at a hotel and if we had more time in our overnite stay, I would have used it. I'll put this in my book for a place to stop in the future for sure.

Had a great stay! All the staff are very friendly. The hotel is clean and well kept. Would easily recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through. Food and fuel are close by and it's right off 95. A/C worked great in the room as well

Great place to stop and rest from a long road trip. The staff we encountered were all very nice and helpful. The hotel was clean, bed was comfortable. A/c worked great kept the room nice and cool. The bar was a nice touch. We did not use the pool but it looked nice. Gas and food in the area no need to drive far in the am for gas and coffee.

We chose this motel because it was at about the half way point between Orlando and Gatlinburg. We were just stopping for the night so we didn't really care about amenities other than the free breakfast and a good night's sleep. This motel delivered on both of these. The room was quiet and very clean and the temperature was perfect. The breakfast was fine....they had waffles you could make yourself, fruit, scrambled eggs, sausage and gravy for biscuits. They also had hardboiled eggs, cold cereal and yogurt. I think it was good value for the price of the room and it was right off of I-95 which made it very convenient. One thinig I might mention is that they don't have an elevator so if you aren't able to climb stairs, you should ask for a room on the first floor.

Off the beaten track, not a major tourist destination. Quiet location, good place to relax and visit area attractions or nearby cities of Beaufort or Hilton Head Island. Welcoming reception, rooms accessible from courtyard or the parking area, a bit confusing where to park. Two level hotel (no lift), with covered pool (not functional at our stay). Great picnic area in the shade of the oak trees. Not much around, few fast food places and Denny's. Good breakfast. After long trip this is the place to stop.

"Half way point"

Pretty nice :) I'm pretty picky on hotels/motels. This one was surprisingly nice and clean and the staff was very polite and helpful. Free breakfast in the morning and a restaurant next door. Restaurant food was good and large amounts but we did have to wait a bit but the staff was friendly and accommodating. It is a new restaurant and needs a little work but food was good just bring your patience and know that you are supporting a small business. Great stay at the best western and yes we would return !! Oh and the breakfast has hot and cold options and the lady helping was amazing and very friendly :) good halfway point from Florida to North Carolina . Also pool was chilly but big size and deep so the kids loved it. Also beds were comfy and free WiFi :)

"Pet friendly "

This hotel is very good to dogs. My sweet pup got a goody bag with food, treats and water. They have nice lawn to take a pet for a walk. The breakfast is good. However, the area is small and gets crowded easy. The facility itself is medium at best. There were also bugs in the room. But the hospitality of the staff makes up for the short comings.

"Lovely Hotel "

The room was spacious and very clean with two Queen-size beds. Although the television wasn't very big, it had a very good variety of channels and the WiFi was fast. The breakfast was excellent, with a very good choice of items, including scrambled eggs, ham, fried potatoes, grits and, of course, waffles. There were also fruit and yoghurts available. For anyone who finds themselves in the Yemassee area, I can fully recommend the Best Western at South Point.

I stayed at this pet friendly hotel based on the Trip Advisor reviews. I was not disappointed. This was one at f the cleanest hotel rooms I've stayed in so a huge shout out to the housekeeping staff. I was checked in by a very capable desk clerk (Kevin) who got me checked in to my room promptly. Because I was traveling with a dog, my assigned room was adjacent to a large field and away from the parking lot. It was great and other friendly dogs were outside on leashes with their owners, all friendly people. I had a great night sleep and heard no other people, pets or vehicles. The room was super clean and I saw ZERO evidence of other previous pets staying in the room. Not a single dog hair was visible on the floor. I was very impressed that the housekeeping staff could do such a great job considering how many guests travel with their pets. The motel is an older property with newly renovated rooms. I thought it was a good value.

Found this hotel doing research about where to stop on our trip and found this nice hotel in my search. Arrived late and the gentleman at the front was very friendly and made the check in process easy. The room was clean and overall it was a nice stay. I'd stay here again if passing through.

Nice Hotel, just not many restaurants near by, just three gas stations and a Waffle House. The room was in good shape, bathroom was clean and had clean towels. There is a pool seperate from the hotel, did not use on my visit.

"Good motel type hotel"

From the outside this hotel doesn't look that well but the room was clean and pretty good. The breakfast was very satisfactory. The advertised restaurant wasn't open yet, and the nearby options were fastfood only, but the Chinese takeout in the neighborhoud proved to be quite good. Friendly and helpful staff at the hotel.

"Older property, clean rooms."

We planned an overnight stay, on our way to Florida, based on this location having an indoor heated pool. This is an older property with pleasant staff and clean rooms. Unfortunately, the pool was out of service and the only "restaurants" nearby are fast food.

We stopped here on our way to Orlando. The service was good, hotel was clean. We were able to get dinner as restaurants were in walking distances. The pool area looked great even though we didn't use it.

"Very Unsafe DO NOT STAY HERE!"

I arrived here at around 11pm and I was followed by a man who travels on bicycle in the surrounding area and he waited until I was alone and tried to get in my car and follow me into the hotel room. I felt extremely unsafe and had to call the police. I was promised a refund by the hotel becuase I could not stay there and I was in immediate danger so I never ended up staying the night. The hotel still has yet to give me the refund which is a total scam because I have the police report and a different hotel booked to prove it. The staff was very unfriendly over the phone. I would not recommend staying here because there are strangers lurking around and it is very dark outside the hotel. The rooms are open to the outside hallway so it is possible that this same person could follow you and wait for you when you open the doors to the outside. I would not trust to stay here with my family because of the danger and the horrible guest services.

"Good for our stopover on our way home from Florida"

This is an older updated motel. The rooms open from the outside which certainly is a plus when unloading your vehicle or if you had a pet, for taking them for walks. This place is ideal for truckers. There was great parking for them. We found the room to be clean and for the most part it was quiet. We only heard one truck starting their engine. The air conditioning was set on 70 degrees and it cooled the room. Most places we have stayed at you would have to set the temperature well below to get the room cool. The appearance of the landscaping could use a facelift. The indoor pool is in a separate building in the courtyard. If you were to bring a pet, you would have ample places for you to take your dog for a walk. The breakfast is a truckers' delight. More like a home cooked meal with grits. Missed having oatmeal available. The coffee was great.

"Excellent Dog Friendly"

We drove home from Florida to Canada and needed a room that excepted dogs. This Best Western was Dog Friendly and fine for our needs. Quick take out dinner next door and excellent hot breakfast included in lobby. It was apparent that animals had been there but that is exactly what we wanted. I would not recommend unless you have animals or do not care that they have been there.

We have been staying at this hotel for years as we traveled from Florida up and down the coast. We always enjoyed the opportunity to swim in a heated pool to relieve the aches from traveling for many hours. There used to be a Denny's attached, which was convenient for a quick dinner, but especially for a early morning (4 - 4:30 am) breakfast, before getting back on the road. This trip, the Denny's is closed down, the pool was closed and the cliental has changed. Trucks and / or generators running all night in the parking lot, loud talking / voices just outside our room - I believe when the hotel's bar closed down. All in in all a very disappointing stay.

Hotel is very obviously a former motel. Room felt like a motel room. Water temperature in the shower would not stay constant. Breakfast was bland and being worked by a small child. There were adults in the kitchen, but a kid was running around doing work with guests. Pool was closed. Noisy. Staff was ok, not particularly helpful.

A very nice stay, with very friendly people, fair price, comfortable and clean room, and onsite bar. No restaurant yet. Only issue is the bar, only 4-5 tables. Breakfast was quite satisfying, and the room was the right size for the 30 minutes we were there.

We have stayed here for years on our way to and from Florida from Ontario. We never think of staying anywhere else. I even book our favourite room! The staff are great. It is an easy off and on to I-95. Gas station next door.

"Two years in a row - fantastic service"

My aunt and cousins stay on Kiawah Island every Easter. We come up from FL and we've stayed at this Best Western Easter weekend 2017 and 2018. The lobby is clean and the front desk staff immediately greet us and get our keys, all with a smile. The rooms were spotless and the bed super comfortable. We only paid $93 a night with our military discount. The hotel is on an exit without much else, but it's right next to I-95. The only issue I could find was the shower curtain only reached the edge of the tub so some water did hit the floor from the shower, but I liked the curved shower rod - lots of room.

"Nice hotel in the middle of nowhere"

Friendly front desk and nice lobby. Location had a bar which we didn't use. Waffle House is across the street I think there was a Chinese place somewhere in the area also. A campground is located behind the hotel but not a part of the hotel. You could hear the diesel noise in the early morning of the semis and motorhomes leaving.

"Great Hotel"

I would have to give this hotel a 5 star rating. It was very clean and my bed was very comfortable. We walked In our room and it smelled great. One of my favorite parts was we checked in with our little shitzu Stella and they gave us a little doggie bag for her. It included 2 bottles of water food and 2 snack treats and 2 poop bags. Loved it. The staff was really nice and they also have a great breakfast. Coffee is really good. We will stay here again when in town. I would also suggest this place to anyone.

"Good place to stay, but few restaurants nearby."

We stopped here in early March and were treated well at the hotel. The room was comfortable as were the beds. However the only restaurants near to the hotel were a McDonalds and a Waffle House. Other restaurants for an evening meal were about 15 miles away according to hotel check-in. We would stay at the hotel again if it had nicer restaurants closer. Also, the breakfast serving area does not have enough seating for the number of guests when we were there.

I stayed here for the 1st time about 3-4 years ago. There was a Denny's, it's gone. There's now a bar and a soon to open restaurant. There's been some improvements to the rooms and facility. There trying to be more like a Holiday Inn or Hampton, which is fine... but I hope they keep the price reasonable. I thought the price for the room, even with a AAA discount, was a little on the high side.

All of the staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful, starting with the first desk person who selected the best room for what we wanted. The small bar was really fun and the bartender was excellent- so friendly and went out of her way to make me a perfect drink. No need to go anywhere else. The chicken wings were a great deal - very meaty with a sauce that was nothing special but tasty enough. The breakfast was excellent with real eggs, fruit including strawberries and blueberries (ok frozen but never would have expected to get berries at all except at a fancy hotel or inn), and plenty of other stuff. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. The setting is very nice with scenic walking by the nearby campgrounds. We just stayed here by chance as a stopover this year, but will try to make it a destination stopover in the future.

WATCH YOUR CREDIT CARD AT THIS PLACE! My credit card was charged twice and I just happened to catch it. When I called and asked them to straighten it out they turned it over to the manager. The manager emailed me and said it had been taken care of and that my credit card wouldn't be credited for another 24 or 48 hours. Four days later this promised credit failed to show up on my credit card so I telephoned to ask the manager to follow up. I was greeted with raised voices, yelling, and rudeness. And demands that I straighten it out with the credit card company myself! I am appalled not only to have bogus charges on my credit card, but to have been spoken to so rudely when I called simply to have the hotel that put the false charges on my credit card follow up on its promise to correct the charge. Rude, rude, rude. Protect your credit card. Avoid this place. Go across the street, or anywhere else.

I knew you got near over 60 minutes conversion with our front desk manager and very worry that over charge. We promise you many times you do not need worry any over charge. We never over charge any guest passed 10 years. You may do not know any refund or charge at hotel PMS system always need process 24 hours. Than if there have any process difficult or mistake we will only know after system completely close. That will need other 24 hours. Even our refund passed to our credit card supplier, the credit card supplier need connect to your bank or credit card company to process. All these process need time. Please accept our apologies we can't support real time charge or refund. Especial when your credit card supplier does not at same country. I sure we did refund just after talking with you. After a long annoying day of driving from Va to Orlando, we finally gave up on the bumper to bumper traffic. We pulled off in Yamassee, a place We had never stopped before. I got on my phone and started looking for pet friendly motels. I saw that Best Western was Pet Friendly, and also was right across From where we were parked. It was hard to see the sign as there are lot of trees around it. We were able to secure the last pet friendly room. Thank goodness as we were beat. We were given a pet welcome bag along with our room key. Such a nice touch! Our room was very spacious and the beds were comfortable. It was nice having a fridge to keep Our cooler stuff cold during the night. Christine and Amanda were so pleasant and helpful. They certainty made us feel welcome. I would definitely stay their again and would recommend it for all folks traveling with their pets. The small pet fee for our two dogs was very reasonable. It is very hard to find a nice pet friendly hotel along I 95. This will be on list for future trips for sure. Pam O

"Outstanding Customer Service and Compassion"

On Jan 3 while traveling on I95 from Va to Fl we found ourselves in the middle of the blizzard that brought many accidents, standstills, and frayed nerves. We tried to get off I95 after many standstills and try Route 17 and then found it was closed. So around 10 p.m. we found only one place to eat and we happened to be the last folks they let in the door before they locked it. We had already called around to some hotels with them all no vacancy. I went into the lobby of this hotel to ask for a room and of course they were booked as well. I asked if we could park in their lot to get some sleep overnight and the kind gentlemen said of course and to pull up close to the front and that we were welcome to use their facilities and that they had fresh coffee and water. We had been on the road since 4:30 a.m. that morning. We just wanted to share how nice these folks are and to thank them. We were able to continue on early the next morning.

"Older Hotel (style and age) but had alot of nice features"

On our way home from WDW we needed to stop overnight. Many hotels either very pricey or booked. This one was sub $100 and got decent reviews. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Not a big fan of exterior entry hotel rooms, but for the one night this was fine, It was quiet. Room not as modern as many with open clothes hanging area and bath sink. But you could tell they were trying, all outlets had USB options so plenty of spots for charging phones and ipads. Breakfast was very good, with alot of care take in the preparation. Check out was easy. Definitely fine for a night en route.

On a cold dark night, 33 miles in from the southern border of South Carolina along Rt. 95, we found what is probably the best Best Western in the country. The staff was very kind even though they were all experiencing temps they probably have never experienced before. Our room was incredibly clean and probably one of the most spacious 2 bed hotel rooms I've ever seen. The price was more than reasonable and the breakfast was top notch with both a waffle maker and grits as well as other options. The staff was on top of any needs in the breakfast room which reinforced my feeling from checking in the night before (great staff). Knowing this Best Western is here will make our trips south much more reassuring in the future.

Right off I 95, not many choices as far as restaurants. Hotel is busy at night with truckers. Staff is friendly. Place is dog friendly but charges a pet fee. No garbage bins in back area of hotel. Large grass area to walk dogs

Easy on & off I-95-room needs updating-room needs more cleaning esp bathroom. Bed comfortable-we stayed in the past as there was a Denny's 24 hr restaurant but it is no longer there. Few places to eat except fast food. Will stay at Walterboro where there would be more availability of restaurants & motels.

We stayed at this hotel because it was pet-friendly and got good reviews on Trip Advisor from previous travelers. It lived up to those reviews and then some. The rooms were immaculate, the staff were exceedingly welcome and organized, and we had a terrific night stay. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when traveling with our dog. It was a pleasure. Without hesitation I would say it was 100% better than most pet-friendly hotels we have used in the past. I stay at this location. It has parking for a commercial truck. 18 wheeler. It near my customer. I can eat at the restaurant on property or walk to the place next door. There's room to get and and out with a big truck and trailer. Also they take the C.L.C. Card.

This place is really great. Located at Exit 33, I-95, the hotel is very well appointed considering the price you pay. Folks there are very friendly, the rooms comfortable, and the wifi fast and stable. We brought our dog with us, as always, and she even got a gift box from the hotel while we were checking in. Best rates are using online reservations.

My two young sons and I spent the night here on our way home from Florida. The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable and I felt safe there (which is important when traveling on your own with young kids!) It was not a fancy hotel by any means, but an excellent value for the price! And the staff was friendly, as well.

I would rate this hotel average, some of the lamps didn't work and the beds were very small, would have liked either a queen or king, fell like this was just a full size bed and need bigger, the shower head in the shower wasn't working that well and used to the wider shower heads, not relaxing after a long day of driving, but the staff was very helpful and friendly.

All of the staff that I interfaced with were helpful and caring people. I arrived at night and to be honest the local roads and the entrance at the hotel were quite dark. It does look like they will probably address that issue at a later date.

"WHAT A DUMP!!!"

At check-in, the desk clerk was wearing a top covered with lint. There was no electrical outlet for the desk/table. There was no closet, so a hanging rod was bolted to the wall, right over the vanity! Went to the bar after dinner and asked about wine choices – it was obvious the bar maid did not want to wait on us, that she would rather have been somewhere else. There were “Denny's” signs all over, inside and out – but no Denny's. We did not even consider having breakfast there and went to a McDonalds.

Nice place. Nice people. We've stayed here many times and always enjoyed the experience. Our only complaint is the beds.... some of them are extremely hard! Definitely a great value and convenient location.

"what the heck was that noise?"

Work crews in parking lot noisy late evening when wanting peace and quiet with big trucks and excessive noise of night crews on road repair we think! This was not acceptable in a chain with this customer volume.

"Nice hotel. Food other than breakfast lacking"

Room was very nice. Bed comfortable. Denny's is closed and therefore the signs should be removed. We were traveling in a moving truck and had no other transportation to get food. When asked at “lounge” if they served food, the bartender who was too busy talking to male customers and seem bothered by the question, listed off pizza & wings in a way that made them seem less than appealing. Also, booked 2 double and was given 1 king, which after a long day of traveling was a huge hassle.

Good hotel if you need a place to stay while passing thru. Convenient off 95. Outside corridors and no elevators. Free parking. Denny's on-site was closed. Had free breakfast in hotel though which was decent. Room (A/C?) smelt musty but was clean. Hotel seemed older. Has a pool but did not use.

For the past two months I've been staying in Charleston South Carolina at this quality inn is nasty dirty dingy and I said it's time to go back home to the BW well I know it s has clean walk ways clean rooms and good service the hotel that I been comeing for last seven years,and that you thank Brian for getting me a blueberry muffins that I wanted for breakfast even though breakfast was over The breakfast lady say no breakfast is over in a very mean way so Brian help me out thanks B.go BW all the way

Being on the road for 3 days, we selected BW Yamassee SC because it had a Denny's family restaurant on site. Great because being tired we weren't in the mood to explore the neighborhood. Found our Denny's restaurant was closed for renovations and had to find an alternate for supper. Had to settle on Wendy's

The bed sheets, the pillow cases, the bath towels were all extremely musty-smelling! The towel rack in the bathroom was broken and a piece laying on the floor! If this were our first experience at a Best Western, we would never return! I will never return to this particular Best Western Hotel again!

Last minute trip to visit with sister. Place has the usually odor for a less than perfect Hotel. The beds squeaked like crazy. Embarrassed wondering what the neighbors thought. lol. It was ok clean. could have been better. No soap dish. I hate leaving the soap on the counter. need to think about that on next trip.

The stay was acceptable. Rooms were clean. When we checked in the first time (we stayed here twice), the girl did not tell us about the breakfast and did not tell us the login and password for internet access. If you want to be able to park on the same side of your room, request an even number room. The layout of the parking lot is a little weird and if you don't get an even number room, you will have to walk through an alcove around to the other side of the building where the odd number rooms are located.

"Don't go when it is raining!"

Have minor complaints like mold in bathroom, TV had to be repaired, lighting inadequate, etc. Biggest problem is when walkways are wet they are as slick as ice. They are impossible to walk on. I fell and skinned up my knee and elbow and have a huge bruise on the side of my hip that is still black and blue five days later. Complained to front desk and was told a manager would be out shortly, manager never showed. They apparently painted the concrete in an attempt to solve the problem but they did not apply a nonskid product. Beware of wet walkways!!

"Overnight stop"

We stopped here while heading north for its convenient location. Everything about this place is average. Check in was easy but no one stood out. They didn't program the door cards correctly and we had to go back. The room was clean but old and needed a renovation. The furniture in the room was unorganized and stuffed in the room to fit. Towels also a bit extra worn but clean. Price is too high for location and age of hotel. Breakfast was very good. Stocked, organized, clean and a happy caretaker.

That sums it up. But trip advisor requires atleast 200 two hundred characters. The room was good. Denny's next door was good. The bloody mary's were okay. The staff were proffessional & friendly. The bed was a bit rough . for me atleast. Why can't I find a hotel that has good pillows ?

"Bed too hard"

System was down at check-in so they had to photocopy my D/L and had me sign it as substitute for proper check in. Identity theft risk! Internet was down. Staff recorded room number to call when internet was back up. Never received a call. Denny's restaurant attached to lobby looked like it had been closed a while. Bed was extremely hard and pillows were too thick to allow a decent night's rest. During check-out, was told another guest had just checked out under my room number. Clerk had not checked name of guest to confirm their identity. Night was rough enough that we left before free breakfast just to get past it.

This hotel is very clean with a friendly and helpful front desk. Quite a few amenities. The rooms are large and easy to maneuver. Not a whole lot in the area, but otherwise quite pleased with the facility.

"Pet Friendly and so Welcoming"

Stayed here with our newly adopted, physically handicapped dog, and were made so welcome. Desk clerk fussed over her, and got her to allow a little petting. Was also given a "Welcome" kit for the dog, with a pouch of food, a couple of Milk Bones, disposal bags and a couple of other items. Pet friendly rooms were in back building, with a large, grassy area to exercise your pet after walking them out back. Everyone, including housekeepers and maintenance man, was friendly and helpful. Rooms and beds were clean and comfortable. Will definitely make this hotel a regular stop on our trips from Florida to New Jersey.

"Good Hotel, Breakfast Only Okay"

Pros: The beds were very comfortable. The Shower was decent. Has continental breakfast. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Located right near the western end of US 17/Kings Highway. Cons: The orange juice at breakfast was served in a pitcher of ice and tasted horrible and the bread for toast seemed stale.

Traveling late at night down 95 south we could not find anything available. We found this place to have rooms on Kayak.com. We booked it. Nothing special, but it fit the bill this time. We had a quiet room on the back. Would have been nice to have a elevator and not stairs with all the luggage, but in this case...it just worked!!!

I usually stay at an upscale place but had my dog with me. I think that this hotel was OK but was almost as expensive as the upscale place I usually stay! This is the last time that I will travel with my pet. I DON'T LIKE DIRTY ROOMS!!!

Overall nice property with an indoor pool. There was a mini hotel bar and a Denny's attached. Our room was clean and had all the amenities i needed like a refrigerator. Front desk staff was very nice. We were just passing by from Hilton Head to Charleston so this was a nice stopping point.

This is my third time staying at this hotel. I always stay here on my way back from Florida . The desk clerks are always nice and this time was no exception. The rooms are nicely equipped, and the beds are comfortable. The desk clerk called my room to ensure I was happy with it. That was new. And nice. The clerks were equally pleasant on check out.

Would book a room here again. Only glitch was on Saturday room service did not visit our room. Had to call front office for clean towels. Towels were brought within 10 minutes. Great to have a 24/7 Denny's

Staff is courteous, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The hotel is conveniently located right off 95. Rooms are reasonably priced. A perfect place for a one night layover. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. The indoor pool was a bonus for the kids, since it was raining. Plus everyone loves a complimentary breakfast!

"Good hotel when you have a pet."

We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the room since it was a designated pet accommodation. Although, not the newest of hotels, everything was clean with comfortable beds, clean bathroom with refrigerator, micro wave, etc. Only our cat knew others had been in that room! Sophie still enjoyed her stay. We found the room to be animal friendly. We went to Beaufort for dinner making it a pleasant stop.

"Non smoking room smelled like smoke"

The non smoking room we booked smelled like smoke. They don't have elevators. The hotel is old and dirty. There wasn't anyone on the front desk, yoi have to wait for 5 minutes before someone comes out.

Though not a complaint about Best Western, the cell service at point south is poor. I have Verizon and travel frequently on business. I had to walk to the highway side of the hotel to get two bars of service. In room was intermittent one bar of standard service.

First of all, this hotel is in Yemassee, SC, NOT Ridgeland...the Best Western customer service line has no Ridgeland location listed. We Google mapped the hotel and it took us to a prison at exit 22. This hotel is exit 33. I'm sure if the hotel had an actual address, this would help. They have a new breakfast room and it is a standard deal. The employee working it was amazing! Very helpful and sweet. The room was clean, no complaints. I think it's a bit over-priced, but for a stop and stay 1 night, it's fine.

We had a great stay. Clean room, nice staff. We accidentally booked the wrong night, and right when we got there Nicole helped us. She went all out of her way to get us what we needed and we cannot thank her enough. She also called our room later to ask how we are and if we are okay. Great staff.

Very convenient location for travelers just off the I-95. Staff was friendly & helpful. Rooms were clean & beds were comfortable. Their breakfast room was not yet ready, so they gave a coupon for use either at Waffle House or McDonald's for breakfast which are both right next door. By the sounds of it, the breakfast room is going to be ready soon for guests staying in the future. Only downside was the Denny's in the lobby - not sure if their AC was having issues but it was HOT in there. The Denny's wait staff seemed disorganized and while the food was OK, the service was not great.

During a recent trip we stayed overnight at this property. The front desk staff could use better customer service training. The rooms were clean. The hotel offers a voucher for breakfast at the Waffle House located beside the hotel or at the McDonalds across the street. The light valence in our room over the bath sink was falling down on one side and the bath fixtures were a bit dated. One inconvenience is that if you have a room on the right side of the hotel, which we did, you have to walk around the hotel from the left side to get to it because all the parking is on the left of the buildings. Overall stay was ok, but would not return based on problems getting checked in and with check out.

I would never recommend staying at this hotel. The address listed for the property is not true. After speaking with the hotel staff 3 times, I finally was able to speak with someone whom explained the internet listed address was incorrect. The hotel was about 15 to 20 min from where I needed to be. So I canceled the reservation. This place had to the nerve to charge me a no show or cancelation fee. What a bunch of crock. Called the customer service line at Booking. com explained what happened, all I received was a bunch of Yida Yida, about how the hotel is working on fixing the address problem.

Easy on-easy off from Rt. 95. Convenient, clean and dog friendly. Comfortable beds. Standard Best Western Room layout. I appreciated that the A/C was on and the room was cool when we arrived later. They called to confirm since we were later than we had indicated. I appreciated that they didn't give our room away and that they were looking out for someone who needed a room if we weren't going to be there. Once checked in, the front desk called to see if everything was to our liking. Nice thought, but we were already trying to get to sleep.

Best Western needs to invest in this property. It needs to be updated all around. The property must have been lively at one time but it is 2017 not 1990! The Denny's was gross. I truly believe that the Board of Health would give them several citations. I couldn't even eat because I felt that if the area where people were eating was so gross, I didn't even want to imagine the condition of the kitchen!

Stopped here when traveling, for an overnight. Thought it was a bit pricey but was a safe area and rooms were very clean and well appointed. I would recommend staying here for an overnight but I'm not familiar enough with the area to know what an extended stay would offer.

Perfect place to stop on drive to Florida, clean and pet friendly. Staff was very friendly. Alot of space to walk dogs and there is a lounge if you want to get a bite to eat or a drink. Rooms are good size and to be honest for the price this is a great value if all you need is a place to sleep before heading out again next day

I enjoyed my stay. The hotel had a restaurant, lounge and indoor pool house everything was clean and quite I had a good nights rest. They are a per friendly hotel and I was put in one of the rooms used by pet owners and it was very clean . I would recommend this hotel on your journey and I will also return there on occasion

This Best Western is the standard motel configuration. Hotel was clean, room was comfortable, and staff was friendly. Our room had no convenient electrical outlet near the desk, so I had to move furniture around a bit to use my computer at the desk. We were awakened at 6 a.m. by a group of guests standing outside our room talking loudly. Yes, they moved quickly when I peered through the curtain. The disappointing thing for me was that the breakfast was a coupon to use at the local McDonald's or Waffle House. The reason I like Best Westerns is that I can creep out to breakfast in t-shirt and shorts and then return to my room to clean up for the day ahead. Having to leave the hotel for breakfast kind of defeats that. Good news is there is a Denny's on site, but your coupon won't work there.

Booked this hotel for a 2 night stay, staff was extremely nice and helpful, Nicky & Nichole were extremely professional and nice to speak with, room was clean, plenty of parking, every staff member we came across was great and answered any questions we had, do not serve breakfast there but is a Dennys right there, food was good, service was great, may be back down there on business later this month, if we are we will book this hotel again, as a great stay!

Part of this was my fault because I thought it was a BW Plus, however for the price we paid ($100) I really expected a better stay! BTW doors are on the outside of this hotel. I thought it was hard to tell from the website and I was not pleased when I pulled up. Let me start with the few good things. You get a voucher for breakfast in the amount of $6 each but you can't use it in the attached restaurant. The 2 staff that I interacted with were very nice. We didn't go to the indoor pool, so I'm not sure of that area. Now... I'm a Diamond member and it was never acknowledged with anything extra including a "thanks". The first room they gave us, as soon as we opened the door it had a horrible smell! (skunky). Had to go to front desk (was treated well and taken care of immediately). The second room was ok. The bathroom was kind of grimy with nasty stuff all along the edges of the wall (like it hadn't been "thoroughly" cleaned in a long time. The shower and sink area were clean though. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room so we weren't too concerned about it. THEN CAME BEDTIME. It was a double bed room because our son was traveling with us and when my husband and I got in our bed it was 'broken down'; What I mean is the entire side I slept on was drooping toward the floor and EVERY time I moved it made a horrible sound like the springs were rubbing together. GOT ZERO SLEEP because every time I moved it made this horrible noise! Why didn't I let someone know? Because I had already changed rooms once and it was late. We just wanted this stay to be over! There's a Marriott property at the same exit. We'll be staying there next time

Nice clean room, had all that we needed for overnight stay--rescue from the road. The only unfortunately, aspect was tha Dennys restaurant that shared the hotel lobby. We couldn't get served. other patrons were waiting on line for twenty minutes to pay. service was terriblr,they cleared their own tgables, cold food,etc. This is not Best Western's fault, but it does reflect on the whole stay. Sorry for rambling on. It would behoove Best Western to try and get rid of that Denny's, or at least, have some sort of food service of their own. Front desk personnel werew very friendly, courteous and professional, on check in and check out, even when fairly busy.

Convenient stop with comfortable beds halfway between Radford/Blacksburg VA and Cocoa Beach FL, right off I-95. Wouldn't have chosen a Best Western but it was a Priceline Express Deal and nonrefundable. Told teenage sons to have low expectations going in, but all agreed it turned out to be a Pretty-Good Western. Beds were crisp-clean and felt luxurious. Coffee maker worked, as did hair dryer. Very nice surprise was the voucher that covered breakfast at Waffle House or McDonalds next door/across street. Bathroom and shower were surface clean but stained grout and caulk. Security cameras everywhere around the stairs and walkways, on view for the front desk staff, were reassuring considering the outdoor room entrance. Odd number rooms appear to all face an interior courtyard rather than the parking lot.

Clean and no mold smell like you usually see in a small city hotel right off I-95. They have a small little bar you can relax in the evening. For breakfast you have Dennys, Waffle House and McDonald's within walking distance. Very satisfied!

Recently we visited here and had an awesome experience. The rooms were very clean and the water temperature in the indoor pool was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Not only were we greeted with a smile upon arrival, we were treated very friendly and professional. There was a bar inside that really made this trip extra special after traveling for 10 hours. The bartender who introduced herself as Fran as we walked through the door was extremely nice. I could sit and talk with her for hours, and it seemed that way by the end of the night. She made a special punch, and boy does it really settle you in for an awesome stay at the Best Western. Overall, this was the best stay I had encountered along my trip on the East coast.

Me and my husband stayed here on our way to Beaufort for our grand son graduation. The young lady at the front desk I can't remember her name but she had goldish color hair gave offered us 2 breakfast voucher for an additional cost I as about the Denny's that was connected and she said yes we can use them there so I paid for them. After we carried our belongs to our room. We went to the bar and had 2 drinks. Afterwards I went and use the computer in the lobby while my husband watched the news. On our way back to our room we smelled marijuana as we turned the corner the young lady from the front desk and our bar tender was getting out of a car full of smoke giggling. But to make things worst the next morning we ate at Denny's and when we went to pay using our hotel voucher the server told us that Denny's don't honors them anymore and that they are only good for McDonald's or Waffle House. I spoke with the Manager of Denny's and he confirmed it. The hotel will be much better if you will stop hiring drug users.

The overall hotel was OK but a little outdated. The staff was polite and helpful but the rooms are in need of an update. The room was clean but old looking. The ice machine didn't work and the noise of other guest running around outside until after 12:30 in the morning was unwelcome. This was due in part because of a bar located inside the hotel that guests used. But if you stay go eat anywhere else but the Denny's attached. The restaurant was dirty with outdated interior and the staff needed taught how to work. We waited 25 minutes for our food that never showed up and there were two cooks in back. Overall not a very pleasant experience for a Best Western hotel.

We visited friends nearby on our way to Savannah. It was easy to find, very clean, friendly staff and large room. Our only complaint was that many truckers stay there so there's a lot of truck traffic in the parking lot. There was a lot of noise from the beeping of backup alarms to the noise from the air brakes. While we were there a refrigerator truck was parked and had to run all night. We kept the fan on the AC on high all night to block out the sounds. We did get a good night's sleep but I'm not sure that would have been the case without the fan running. I would suggest asking for a room that did not face the parking lot. Knowing that now I believe we would stay again if in the area but request an inside facing room.

The room was clean. Even though it is just off the interstate is was very quiet. Checkin was quick. The one draw back was that instead of breakfast at the hotel they gave a voucher for $6 off your breakfast at waffle house or MacDonalds. We went to Waffle house it was not worth the time or the extra money we had to pay. No elevators not good if you have foot problems. Requested bottom floor and was told they are for long term guests and I had to go to the top floor. There were many open rooms on the bottom floor so I was not a happy camper

Stopped here for a quick overnight on a road trip to Florida. Room had a slight smoky smell even though it was non-smoking. Otherwise the room was very basic - but clean and comfortable. Setup is motel style with doors facing outside. We would stay again. Free wifi!

This Best Western is either a relatively new or recently renovated facility. The rooms are spacious. We had a King sized bed, table with 2 chairs, two nightstands and an end table along with a combination 2 drawer dresser/fridge/microwave cosole with a TV on top. My husband thought the TV was small,though I didn't. We'd been traveling for 2 weeks and had many wall mounted large TV's in much smaller rooms, so I think that may have had something to do with my husband's perception that the TV was too small. But to be fair, I'm not much of a TV person, so I'm no fan of huge screen TV's. Amenities also include iron, ironing board, hairdryer, 4 sets of towels (for a reservation for 2 people), in room coffee maker, 2 bottles of water, soap and shampoo. Rooms open to the parking lot. We were on the first floor at the end of a long road trip so this was very convenient as we were able to park in front of our door. Later n the evening, the parking lot filled up, due to high occupancy and/or because of the attached 24 hour Denny's and small, bare bones lobby bar. The location was just off of exit 33 on I-95, very easy to get to. Despite the popular (on a Saturday night) Denny's and bar, it was quiet and restful. The king sized mattress was on the firm side and very comfortable. Of the 7 motels we were in on a 2 week trip, the mattress was tied for the best with the Hampton Inn in Rocky Mount, NC. We had minimal need for interaction with the front desk, but the desk clerk was pleasant and courteous. There is no free breakfast at the motel, but a $6 per person voucher for the Waffle House across the street, the Mc Donald's a short way up the street or a "grab and go" bag at the front desk which I was told included an apple or banana, energy bar and bottle of water was included in the price of the room. The beds were made with the usual set of sheets, a blanket and top sheet, which I prefer to the rarely washed bedspreads in many other motels. The only problem, which is a big one for me was the cleanliness of the bathroom and the sink/counter area which is in the main room. The grout had mildew and it was clear that the area behind the sink faucet was not cleaned frequently, as it had mildew also. The sink area could be remedied by a thorough cleaning followed by the use of soap dishes so water did not accumulate behind the faucet. The grout/shower walls just need to be cleaned regularly with an appropriate cleaner. When he bathrooms are not well cleaned, I can only make a conjecture about the rest of the room. The linens were clean, but the nightstands and table really needed to be wiped down well. I travel with Lysol wipes, so I used them liberally. If cleanliness isn't a major issue for you, but you want a very comfortable bed in a spacious room with plenty of outlets for electronics in a great location for travelling along I-95, good amenities and a break on the price of breakfast, then this is easily a 5/5 motel for you.

This was the perfect hotel for a stopover. The grounds were lovely, clean and quiet. Beds were comfy, fridge in room. Easy on/off 95. ATM on site, voucher for breakfast across the street. I will mark this for another stopover next time. Perfect.

"Clean, but"

Stayed 1 night. Room was clean and no bugs, but cobweb on valance by door and yellow cracking caulk around toilet. Plenty of towels, fridge worked. Easy, nice check-in, beds were comfortable, room was quiet and AC worked fine. Cable worked for about 20 minutes, then no TV. Staff tried to help and offered to send someone to fix. They have a computer and printer in office, but could not get signed on - even with staff help. She did let us know later on that she had it working, and apologized again when we checked out. Coupons for breakfast at Waffle House covered only about 2/3 of cost of eggs, bacon and coffee, but there were some menu items-like a biscuit egg sandwich-that it covered. A bit pricy at $101 (with tax)- probably will look for other spot on next trip.

"So Nice to us"

Hotel was ok, but the staff was very nice. They saved us a lot of hassle when we could not reach our best western reserved plave in NC, due to delays. Very helpful and fast service in the lobby. Pool area was nice and separate from the hotel, which we liked. Breakfast vouchers, led us to a Waffle House, which turned out to be fine...food there was cheap and good. Would stay again

Good location for us while traveling on I-95. Friendly staff and good free breakfast at Waffle House next door. With a Dennys on site on sure why breakfast wasn't there but Waffle House was good. Room had a refrigerator and a microwave which was very nice. Parking was directly in front of room which was nice.

While I have stayed here many times I found this last experience unfriendly. I have been stopping at this location several times because it was pet friendly and reasonably priced. The lounge was closed for awhile but that was never a concern. Upon this visit the lounge was open and I ordered a drink to go and the bartender was nasty. Big attitude and treated me like she was doing me a favor. Terrible service skills. So many folks would love a job. Why her? I'll be back and hope she is gone doesn't deserve a service job.

"Now That's Pet Friendly!!! Quiet, Friendly, Clean..."

With my son and daughter-in-law and traveling with a one year old we decided to stay in Yemassee, SC rather than going further to Savannah from NC to FL as we usually do. So perfect! When the clerk mentioned a dog and asked me how many I was afraid she was going to charge me extra! But instead she went into back room and came out with two large boxes. Each with two water bottles, poopy bags, baggie of dog food and two large milkbones!!! I've never seen this done!!!! My son and daughter-in-law had room next door and asked if we heard the baby crying during the night. We didn't hear a thing! And I'm a light sleeper. Room was very clean and we had a choice of using vouchers for McDonalds or Waffle House. Additionally we brought our boat and there was a perfect parking area for it. We will start making this our stopping point each year!!!

"Not a good experience"

While the room was mostly clean, I did mention they needed to take care of the cobwebs that were there for some time. The bed quality was below standard comfort....like sleeping on a quilt of springs. Pet friendly was nice and nice bar. Okay Denny's Restaurant, little funky that breakfast offered was at another off-site facility. Makes you wonder.

"Nice for one night stop"

I can usually count on Best Western for a good stop on long drives and this was no exception. The staff was nice, hotel clean and quiet. This is located well off of I-95 in a quieter location than the usual exits to Charleston or Savannah which are very busy. It's not a major area, not really in Ridgeland or Yemassee, but somewhere in between. We took the time to go see the Beaufort museum/shop within a mile behind it and also found a great country cider store within a mile down a country road. It's not a plush hotel by any means, but it really served its purpose quite well. We'll stop there again. Oh, we didn't have our dogs this time, but it's Pet Friendly with nice areas to walk the dogs.

Good facelift from last summer. Friendly staff, I really mean it, everyone right from top down, even tho we arrived late night and tired after a very long drive and the motel was busy- (Sun night). Very understanding staff, Put us at ease immed, offered bottled water. AM, staff same when checking out. Internet Needs well met. Not one but Multiple Breakfast options, too good to be true, could not be better. I saved the best for last.

We stayed at this hotel on our way back to jersey from Florida. Our room was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. This place is very well kept. I noticed that they have security cameras outside in the hallways, which I liked very much. Though we got vouchers for breakfast we did not use them. They also have a pool which looked very nice (we did not use it) overall it was a very pleasant experience and we will definitely stay at this hotel when we travel to and from Florida!!

We have stayed here a few times whenever we drive North and South. Always a pleasant stay; comfortable bed; professional staff and clean. Never been a fan of Denny's (20% discount at adjoining property) but must admit they claim the salmon is Alaska wild (tasty) and the breakfast made to order option is fresh and a great added benefit. Top value for the money. Never a complaint.

Pleasantly surprised with this Best Western. King bed was comfortable, room was clean and front desk staff was efficient. Free Wi-Fi worked well and the "free Denny's breakfast" was a voucher worth $6 I believe... we were able to order anything from menu and received $12 off our order. Worked well for us! Nice indoor pool in separate building but we did not use it.

Stopped the car when I was tired. Several choices but car led me here. Really clean. Very nice people. A little more expensive but I feel absolutely safe. Great wifi, terrific tv service. Queen size bed with sofa bed. Perfect. Did I mention it is really clean?!

"Stayed there"

Hotel was nice but getting a voucher at the attached Denny's was not good at all. We sat for a half hour and never got our breakfast. We ended up walking out very disgusted. At least 3 other tables got served before us and they came in after us.

Just a basic pet friendly motel. Clean, comfortable and conveniently located. Harold's Country Club is a short ride away and highly recommended for a bit of local color and pretty good food. The alternative, Denny's, is next door but its Denny's.

"Nice hotel"

All staff were very helpful. When I checked in a maintenance man carried my oxygen concentrator and luggage from my car to my room and told me if I needed anything, he was on duty until 11:00 p.m. In the morning, another person carried my stuff from my room back to my car.

"A Best Western to Remember"

An outstanding helpful and smiling staff greeted us at the reception of this clean and well maintained Best Western. The room smelled fresh and was surprisingly huge. The area was quiet and we felt secure to stay there. The motel offers an inside heated pool at the center of the four buildings that house the rooms. Since Denny's Restaurant is attached to this motel, Best Western offers free breakfast and other discount coupons for eating there. A nice touch. All in all, it was a great stay and we will return.

"Extremely disappointed"

This is the first time I have ever been so misled by reviews on Tripadvisor. When traveling, I always read the reviews for a place I am considering and make my reservation based on those reviews. Until now I have found Tripadvisor to be the most reliable site - not anymore. In case you do not feel like reading a long review, I'll make it simple... do NOT stay at this Best Western. It is honestly a disgrace to the Best Western name. I was on a road trip, traveling north from Florida and needed an affordable place to stay for the night. I checked Tripadvisor when I stopped for lunch and found this Best Western supposedly in Ridgeland S.C. I booked the room online and programmed it into my GPS. Just so you know, if you use your GPS to find this place you will get lost. The GPS will take you to a place called "Ridgeland" exit 22 off I-95 but this is actually off exit 33 apparently called Point South. Upon check-in the staff was not the least bit friendly. I was given a room on the back side of the hotel which is actually an old style motel with all of the rooms entered from the exterior. The back of the hotel is dark and scary and men were hanging out of their doors drinking beers as I drove around looking for my room. It's that kind of place. The rooms are old and small, the A/C unit would crank on extremely loud, the bathroom was dirty, my TV did not work and once I finally fell into a paranoid sleep the alarm clock in my room went off at midnight. This would all be fine if I had decided to stay at a Motel 6 for $50 a night but this room cost me $110! The only redeeming qualities were good beds and a free breakfast at the attached Denny's.

"Hidden Gem on I-95"

Wonderful hotel found in traveling from Florida North on I-95. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and helpful, parking was plentiful. Denny's attached provided 24 hour dining and the free hotel breakfast was at Denny's so there was no limit in timing.

"Great room, but small pillows"

Had a king size bed with pillows that are like decorative sofa pillows. Other than that, was great stay, staff was excellent. the restaurant was a bit busy when we arrived for breakfast and the server was by herself, but did a great job getting things going for us. Overall a great stay, just wish I bought a swimsuit for my stay. Looks like a great pool

From the time you check in to the time you check out,the staff is there for you. Whatever you need they are helpful and pleasant. There is plenty of parking for semis. The beds are comfortable and the room is a good size. I would stay here again on my next trip.

After driving some 700 km we needed a good night sleep to continue our journey to Florida next day. We found the BW relaxing and comfortable. As in any of the BW hotels I used the free Wi-Fi. The breakfast was good. I recommend the hotel to my friends. GP

"Great trucker stop"

Stopped here with my husband & sons a few weeks ago for the night. The staff was very accommodating for us even with some issues we had checking in (not on their end, on ours.) We received a voucher for free breakfast from the Denny's attached + our key card got us a % off for supper that night. There is truck parking which was great for my husband (he was stopping here on the way home when he ran out of drive time for the day.) The beds were comfy and the hotel was quieter than expected. It was also very clean in our room. And free wifi, which is always a plus. We'd definitely stay here again.

"It's ok for a night"

Stayed overnight here on the way back to Connecticut from Florida. We were looking for a decent place not too pricey and this fit the bill. I booked directly online and reserved a non-smoking room. When we checked in and got to our room, the place reeked of cigarette smoke and there was an ashtray on the table. So we went back. Apparently, from the conversation between the two desk workers, the system labels the rooms incorrectly and you have to know which rooms are wrong when you're checking people in. Why not fix that? They were very good and helpful about changing us, but it was still an inconvenience. The doors of the room open to the outside - which I don't usually like, but the room we eventually settled in opened onto the courtyard and not the parking lot and the pool was in the courtyard. The pool is in a separate building, so an indoor pool, though we didn't use it. There is a Denny's attached to the lobby of the hotel, so you don't have to go far for food. We received vouchers for breakfast there the next morning, but didn't cash them in. (We ate at the Denny's the night before and the food was over-greasy, so we still felt a little nauseous the next morning). I didn't see many other dining options around. The room was clean and comfortable and good for a nights' stay. We didn't hear much noise. Before dark there were a group of kids running around in the courtyard, but by nightfall all was pretty quiet.

Travelling to Florida this hotel is well located close the I-95 which is good when traveing with restaurant close to the hotel. Staff is helpfull and welcoming. Would recommend and would stay again.Room size are good.

Hotel was clean, but there was old water damage to walls, doors, and and AC and fridge were pretty noisy. Dog friendly, which is harder to find on I-95 closer to Savannah. Did the job for an overnight with a dog, decent price compared to Savannah.

Over the past two years this motel has been declining. The first time we stayed here the staff were friendly and accommodating and the rooms were clean. On subsequent visits, I noticed a change in the staff demeanor and in the overall upkeep of the rooms. Our last stay was in April, 2016. We had reserved two rooms. Both smelled of chemicals when we entered and the bed in one of the rooms was broken. The only other rooms they could offer us were smoking rooms. Who still allows smoking rooms? For what we had to pay and the hassles we encountered, the rooms were not worth it. I will skip this exit on my next trip North (or South).

Returning from Tampa's Frozen Four, I got really tired and we pulled in here. Nice TV and comfy beds with a lot of pillows. Adjacent restaurants made for a fast take off in the morning with a Denny's and Waffle House a easy walk from our door. Very quiet (perhaps due to the fact that all the other rooms were full of very tired CSX repair crews)

Hotel staff were lazy and inattentive, the exterior of hotel was unkempt, the room was in need of renovation, no water pressure, AC unit noisy, minimal furniture (no Chair or sofa) there free breakfast was a coupon for the Denny's but you had to dine in only.

The room was clean but nothing to rave about decorating wise, we stayed on the second floor in the 2nd building, there is no elevator, make sure you bring your room card to the ice machine on the main level as it is outdoors and restricted to patrons. Like most places breakfast is included - but not in the motel - there is a "Denny's" attached to the front lobby and they give you a coupon for a choice of 3 different breakfasts. We were pleased to have a place to stay after being tied up in the snowbird traffic from southern Florida the whole day - this place is adequate but not fancy.

The room is clean and nice. They offer free wifi which is so important to me, free bottle water, free breakfast at Denny's (which is much better than the other hotels who make simple breakfast) , they also offer us 20%off at Denny for dinner so we don't need to drive out to find restaurant.It's a nice and friendly place to stay for a traveller and they also have heated swimming pool which makes my son really happy.

We stopped here after driving on congested I-95 for 9 hours. Both of us were exhausted. The motel must be being remodeled as a large dumpster filled with what looked like construction material was sitting in the parking lot in front of our room. I also detected a faint odor of fresh paint. Three employees were sitting at the front desk when we arrived but no one gave us a greeting. Finally, we were assigned a room after I ask for one. There are no interior halls here but I felt secure in the room. It was spotless! While the furniture showed some signs of wear it was clear that the bath had been renewed. My only serious complaint was that the maids had placed 2 strong room deoderants in the room. Most motels have a spray or room deoderant in their rooms. It is very annoying to customers who have respiratory issues. Please....do away with these heavy fragrances.

Talked with Serge the owner and he is proud of his constant maintenance program. Nice drapes, bath very clean, countertops, rugs and furniture are decent. New flat screen. Easy access to Wi-Fi, large frig with no noise. Rooms face the parking so we keep our car keeps at the bedside, if we hear a noise we can hit the emergency button for the car which is right outside our door. Window AC but very quiet with easy controls. Two bottles of water as a gift, nice touch. There is a Denny's connected to this motel and you get a free, very good, breakfast and 20% off other meals. Nothing close but a few miles down the road there is a Dollar Store with decent prices. Staff was indifferent or new but the manager was great.

A pleasant surprise. It's an Old-school mo-tel off the interstate. It was clean and quiet. The room had a "clean" remote, 2 fresh bottles of water and an extra pillow. BONUS: We all got a voucher for free breakfast at the Denny's connected to the lobby!! ANOTHER BONUS: The receptionist offered us a discount upon check-in for military or government. SHE offered, I didn't have to ask!! ????

I have never stayed in a motel where I felt so unsafe as this Best Western. The women at the front desk had the personality of a ashtray. Our room was in the back of the motel where it was very dark and there were sketchy people hanging out in the parking lot. I actually slept with my gun beside my bed. The food service at the attached Denny's was terrible. I asked the waitress how her night was going and she responded with "I hate my boss"! Overall the worst experience I have ever had at a motel!

It has bee a while since I have stayed in an exterior hall motel. This is an older one that has been renovated. The interior decor was very well done. The bathroom was small and older, but was adequate. The internet was slow and cell phone service was only by the window. Breakfast is by coupon at the attached Denny's. They were busy and it was slow. Maids were the friendliest of the staff. Price was high but it was St Pat weekend and busy.

A great B/W motel in SW South Carolina is Point South in Yamassee. The motel staff are positive and keep the grounds/rooms clean. This is a very comfortable motel as traveling through SC. Yamassee is not Hilton Head nor Savannah nor Charleston (big tourist stops) but a nice/quiet spot. The attached Denny's is a place for a good breakfast.

New ownership owns the same tired complex with higher prices, a closed bar, and the world's worst Denny's (oxymoron?!?) under the same roof.... Do yourself a favor and travel 20 miles north or 30 miles south and spend the same money for a better experience.....

We were driving to NYC from Florida and it was a convenient place to stop for the night that was pet friendly. Right off I95, breakfast is at a Denny's in the lobby for which the hotel gives you a credit for a full breakfast. Indoor pool - good feature as the weather was too cold for any outdoor swimming.

Just found out the bed was broken but didn't say anything to the staff because my wife and I were really tired. Should of said something though because it made the bed uncomfortable and annoying. An accident on I95 with a 90 minute delay brought us to this Best Western. We were extremely happy with the accommodations. The staff was super friendly and the cost of the room was very reasonable (10% off evening meal and free breakfast the next morning at Denny's). We definitely would staff at this Best Western again!!

The hotel has exterior doors and our room was on the side facing the indoor pool building and was very quiet! Very nice peaceful property. Room was updated, very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The Denny's free breakfast was nice change to typical hotel breakfast items. It was also very convenient for dinner options. I stayed a week and got better rest then any other hotel I have stayed at for past 7 weeks in the region. Between the comfort, sleep quality, and cleanliness... This hotel gets 5 stars. One suggestion to hotel would be to create a seating area in court yard space between hotel and pool so people can sit out outside since it actually has peaceful surroundings unlike most other hotels.

If you are note in a hurry you can eat breakfast as late as you want NO 9:30 AND EVERYTHING DISAPPEARS. The restaurant staff treat you like paying customers even though the meal is free. I tipped them as if I were paying at the full value of the meal as should you.

Stayed here overnight, we had no reservations. The hotel staff was accommodating and friendly. The room was newly renovated and very clean as was the rest of the property that I saw. We did not use the pool. The free breakfast at the attached Denny's was an added bonus. Choice of eggs or pancakes. The hotel is very close to 95 making it a good choice for an overnight stay as you continue your journey

I'll start with the positives: Nice and close to I95. The room was clean and the bed was great. We did not use the wifi or the indoor pool, even though it looked nice. The motel lobby is attached to a Denny's restaurant which has a reasonable set of gluten-free items on the menu. Best Western guests are given a 20% off coupon, that we used for dinner, and a free breakfast at Denny's. The free breakfast has 3 options that are roughly equivalent to the (Build your own Grand Slam, $7.29) on the regular menu. The options are 1. continental breakfast with yogurt, cereal and fruit; 2. pancakes and bacon or sausage; 3. 2 eggs, hash browns and bacon or sausage. All 3 options include coffee and juice. The evening meal and breakfast were both very good. The gluten-free English muffin was probably the best gluten-free bread we have eaten. All of the staff at the Best Western and Denny's were all very helpful. Hollie was especially helpful when we arrived in the evening. Apparently the motel has a new owner and as of mid-February 2016, the new owner had applied for an ABC license but had not received it yet, so the bar was not open and they did not have the free drinks earlier reviewers had mentioned. They did have free USA Today, cookies and coffee in the lobby in addition to the Denny's coupons. The downside that kept this from being a 5 for me, was the light switches in room 107, a handicapped assessable room. The light switch at the door did not turn on any light in the room. I walked in without a light and ran into the leg of the coffee table. Also the lights for the bathroom were on outside of the bathroom and behind the door when it was opened. If you enter the bathroom without turning the lights on prior to entering, then you have to exit the bathroom and close the door to get access to the switch. If you only turn on one switch, then you have to open the door to see if you turned on the correct switch and if you didn't then you have to close the door again to get to the switch. From looking into windows of a couple vacant rooms, I know that the regular rooms have a different configuration and they may not have the same problem. The other negative is that I did not find the water to be the best tasting, but they do provide two free bottles of water. We periodically come to a meeting in Savannah and like to stay outside of the the city at a more reasonably priced motel the night before. The Best Western Point South has moved to the top of our list for our next visit.

Room was very clean! Hotel desk clerks were excellent: communicated well and explained well! Small cocktail lounge was cozy. Denny's Restaurant clean with a great staff of wait personnel. We were given voucher to buy a beverage and get one free. We were also given a voucher for 20% off our supper. We were able to park very close to our room as we had our 7 pound mini poodle with us which was convenient.

We had a great stay here. The bed was super comfy. The room was clean and bright. There are five lights in the living area alone then lights in vanity and bathroom . The front desk staff were very accommodating. Erikka the manager helped us when we had a problem concerning check in and was able to solve it right away. There are two computers in the front lobby with printing available. The Denny's restaurant is attached to the hotel and you get 20% off meals with your room key. You are given vouchers for Breakfast at Denny's with three options for meals and each of them include juice and coffee. The staff at Denny's were so friendly they all looked like they really enjoyed working there. We would definitely stay here again. It does seem to be a stop over for transport truckers so you might hear some of the noise but I found it very minimal. There is a Waffle House and MacDonalds near by. Thanks to all the staff that we encountered and a big thank you to Erikka. Bonus is that this place is right off the hwy 95 exit #33.

We were very pleased with the hotel and the front desk. The breakfast was Dennys and while limited as to what you can get, it certainly was great for us. We also ate dinner the night before at Dennys (20% off for staying at the hotel) and the service was extremely slow but the food was ok.. My only issue was that the indoor pool is in a separate building so you had to go out in a wet bathing suit to go back to room. Overall we were very happy with the hotel.

The room was clean but the heater was either really hot or if you shut it off you were cold. Called the front desk and clerk came to see what she could do but no different so she brought us some blankets, temp 32 it is an old hotel so the seal around the door let in the cold air in. Better luck next time.

Stopped for the night on our trek down I95 from NC to FL. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Exterior doors, but not facing a road so quiet. Felt safe. Attached to a Denny's and received free breakfast vouchers on check in. Staff was very friendly. Will stay here again!

Was great for us going south just off 95 (mother & daughter). We had nice quiet room, clean, parked outside our door and best of all we just had to go to front desk and there was entrance to Denny's. Dinner was very good, service was great and discount as well given. Price for the property was excellent and we did get senior discount but could have got CAA rate also was the breakfast at Denny's fully covered by our stay and no restrictions from the menu. Only thing we did ourselves is leave a tip for the great service. This was better than the Best Western in Bridgeport the night before!

This place was made great by the little extras. Our dog was more than welcome: he was given a bag with biscuits and a bag of food. We were given free breakfast at the attached Denny's and 2 for 1 drinks at their bar and grill. The room price was very reasonable, especially considering the perks. Room was clean, had a microwave and larger refridge. We would stay again in a heartbeat. A refreshing difference to the usual!

Ok, just remember you are in the bible belt so being greeted by a large bible in the lobby goes with the territory. This is a perfect place for those that need to stop as the traverse Interstate 95. There is easy access to gas, food, and the highway. The hotel is secured at night and it is much better than you'd expect for a quick stay. Plus, the staff is very nice to EVERYONE!

Best Westerns u have stayed in have been nice. We got there and checked in it was an out door access room. My expectations lowered. We walked in the room and hit with a strong smoke smell. (Yes we are non smokers ) there was even ash on the bed covers. I said ok just open the door and I will call and see if they have air freshener. When I called up the girl was short with me and didn't even ask why I needed the air freshener. The pool was nasty it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. The carpet was dirty, and the water smelled weird. All of that I was over looking and we went about our business. Took showers and went to bed. I got up at 4:00am to go to the bathroom and saw something crawling on the door and on my bra that I had on the knob. It was termites!! They were all over the door, the door frame, the sink , the counter, the base board by the bathroom and by the front door! I had our bag on the sink counter and they were crawling all over and in it! So I got my husband and kids up and checked out. We did get our money back so that was nice. I will not be convened tho that no one knew about the issue. When I looked at the base board up close I could see them so a maid would have had too .

This motel has easy access to the Interstate. I was happy to find a clean room, safe door locks, a well lit parking lot, and good food/drink available on site if needed. I got much needed rest on a stressful trip. I appreciated the express checkout since I was continuing on with my trip very early in the morning.

After 12 hours on the road wanted clean quiet place to stay .It was easy to find just off 95 South. Friendly staff with easy check in. Room was not newly renovated but clean with a comfortable bed. Had trouble with TV . The problem got fixed. We have been lucky with Best Western properties in the past. With senior discount price was fair and included breakfast at Denny ,s which was attached to property. Check out easy after breakfast . We were on the road again quickly.

This was the perfect stop over for the holiday trip south. Check in was a breeze (both times). The room was clean and everything I used, from the hair dryer to the television worked just fine. The bathroom could use a little updating (tub & toilet) but most importantly it was CLEAN! I used the discount as well as the free drink coupon. I was overall pleased with this experience.

After stupidly making the mistake of traveling the Sunday after Christmas, we pulled over at BW Points South. They greeted us promptly and gave us a helpful ,quick check in. The room was large and nicely appointed for an older facility. It has a lounge and Dennys attached to it, and as a guest you get a discount at each place. The surrounding area was nice and it is close to I 95 so you can get back on the road. Overall a great experience.

The hotel staff are amazing - this is definitely why I would return here. The food and staff at Denny's (free breakfast!) were wonderful. Our room was very musty - a carpet replacement would do the trick. The kids loved the pool. Nice grounds. Cleaning and maintenance staff were lovely.

Our stay was very pleasant. The weather was nice for Marine Corps graduation ceremonies. The Best Western location was very close to shops and restaurants. The rooms were clean, affordable and reasonably priced. The entire staff were polite and answered all our questions. I recommend this Best Western.

We had such a positive experience at Point South BW. The room was clean and updated. The bar tender, Terry, was so pleasant with local anecdotes to make our visit fun. The receptionists are so accommodating going out of their way to welcome us. Although we are not Denny's frequenters, our waitress was most friendly. And they even had a very tasty veggie burger (not on the menu) with broccoli side. Absolutely will stay here again on our journey to the grandchildren in NC.

"Price was right"

The night staff was extremely polite and accommodating. They actually had an issue with the faucet in our reserved room, so moved us to two queens instead of our king bed reservation. The morning staff - Erika was obviously not a morning person. The cleaning staff arrived early, and weren't overly concerned with any customers who wanted to sleep in. We had gotten in around midnight, and although I can accept the noise of traffic, I would not expect the hotel staff to be causing that much noise so early in the morning. Breakfast at Denny's was appreciated, and their staff was a nice taste of southern hospitality.

Checked in early and ate dinner at the attached denny's. Had breafast there as well. Good food. Also used the hotel pool and found it to be clean and easy to access. Hotel was easy to find right off the freeway. Rate was good and fit my business budget. Always try to stay at BW whenever possible. My room was very clean and comfortable mattress. Television worked well. Internet connection was easy. All in all, a great one night stay!

Nice little bar! When we checked in they gave us a buy one get one drink coupon!! Free breakfast was at Denny's and very good!! Denny's is actually attached to the Best Western!! Like that feature very much!!!

Roaches in our room (I took pictures of one on a pillow after we slept there), clogged drain, staff at the very most was indifferent when I complained. Free breakfast was included, but after seeing the roaches and how the staff didn't really care, we just couldn't bring ourselves to eat there. This is not a hotel, it is a motel, and a dirty one at that.

Happy service people, fun bar, nice breakfast, clean and quiet. On a busy post Thanksgiving travel date with bumper to bumperd a comfortable bed. traffic, this hotel/motel is strategically placed. It can be reached by diverting to RTE 17 toward Paris Island if going north or 17 to Yemassee, SC if going south. Rooms were meticulous with wifi, tv cable, and a comfortable bed. Large ice bin outside the rooms on first floor and coffee in the foyer. Free breakfast in there am at Dennys that is part of the facility and 10% off for lunch and dinner to registered guests. Buy one get one free first drink at the bar alone with a pleasant bar girl, fresh pop corn and good selection of drinks. Be mindful that on Sundays in South Carolina only wine and beer can be saved. Parking is spacious and allows each patron to park outside their room. When leaving quick check out and easy access to RTE 17 and 95 are 2 minutes away. Will plan to make this a regular stop when we go north and south on 95.

The staff at the hotel was very polite and helpful.. the value was good, and it is always to have a breakfast included when you are traveling.. I would stay at this location again, if my travels had me in this area. Offering discounted dinner and free breakfast at the Denny's attached to the hotel was an added bonus. Very pleasant stay.

Advertised as FREE breakfast at Denny's. Waited over 20 minutes in line before I spoke with Hotel staff. Hotel staff could have cared less. Had Denny's manager speak with me. Finally seated the ten other hotel guests that were also waiting over 20 minutes. Then proceeded to ignore me. Finally brought me coffee but no silverware. Waited another 20 minutes to get food. Kept asking who my wait staff person was, never got an answer. Just ignored me!!!

Comparing cost , this was a pleasant stay.. The staff at the hotel was very polite and helpful.. the value was good, and it is always to have a breakfast included when you are traveling.. I would stay at this location again, if the need is there.

"Pretty basic"

Nothing exceptional. A decent price, for a basic hotel. Good service at check in. I thought our room smelled a little funny, but the husband thought it was just the high humidity. Rate included a good breakfast in the morning at the attached Denny's as well as a buy one get one free coupon for the lounge. Our room was quiet. Two double beds were just okay I'd say. The address was a little misleading, as it's listed in being in Ridgeland, but we actually ended up driving about 10 miles back north from the town after I'd booked it, still trying to figure that one out! Maybe we were just too tired :)

Easy off and on I-95 at exit 33. Do not trust your GPS which shows the hotel on the other (West) side of I-95. Room was clean, but small. A full hot breakfast was included at Denny's which is part of the hotel. Cost including cat and tax was $103. The hotel address is Ridgeland SC 29936 Tel: 843-726-8101

Clean and amply equipped. Close to Parris Island. Nice grounds and well kept. Awesome that they are pet friendly. Conveniently located on I 95 and beautiful surrounding towns. Nothing fancy but everything you need and very friendly staff!

"Mixed up reservations and poor staff attitude"

Disappointment from the beginning. Reservations for two room for one day through Expedia a month before are planned arrival. When plans changed and we needed to move the reservations one day earlier, we were told we would have to make that change through Expedia. That call was a joke. We were told that we would have to pay for another day as penalty and we were referred to our confirmation email.We did not need a second day, merely to move the reservation up one day. I was told I would be billed for another whole day, making the one day stay a total of $376.81. I was adamant that there was no way I was paying that much for 1 night and said if that happened, I would seek legal advice to clarify the penalty. Eventually I was told there would be a $9 fee for each room charged to my card. Since I was making the change 10 days before our expected arrival, I felt this was an unnecessary charge, especially since the hotel had plenty of open rooms. I accepted the $18+ charge and left it at that. Lo and behold when we arrived at the hotel, only the original rooms were available for the next day, though my card was charged for the change. The young lady at the front desk offered no resolution, even when I became insistent and showed her the charges on my phone. She sucked on a lollipop and made no eye contact, staring at the computer and moving the mouse, never looking up. We had driven 4 hours and needed to get settled in. I took nearly 30 minutes to obtain key cards. We were never told any of the standard information regarding breakfast, Wi-Fi access or any other amenities. As we were leaving to get our luggage, I was called back to the receptionist who took back my key card, crossed out the room number and ran it through the keying machine again. She then wrote out two breakfast vouchers and handed them to me without saying a word about what they were, or how they could be used. When I got to the car, I realized she had not given me the key card again. I went back. She insisted she had given me the card. I pointed to the desk where I could see the card. She picked it up and handed it to me. No apology. I will not used Expedia to book events in the future. The room was not cheaper booking this way and the frustration was huge when our plans changed well in advance of the visit..

Very nice place. everything there at your finger tips. Dennys in hotel and you received free breakfast from there as well as 20% off dinner. there was a bar there where you got buy one get one. very impressed by this hotel. nice indoor pool and allowed pets. would definitely stay again.

"Great Location, Staff & Property, But!!!"

Let's start with the good stuff. Great location & property, right off I-95. Reception by Nikki was great! She was courteous & efficient. Great parking! Unfortunately, our room stank of urine. Nikki apologized and gave us a room deodorizer which helped. But, the room was dated and needed a thorough clean. However, the bed was comfortable and quiet. This hotel provides a full breakfast which is nice. However, it is in the adjoining Denny's which was not! We use Best Western often, but would pass on a return visit.

The best part of staying at this Best Western is the Denny's next door. We got free breakfast, 20% off dinner and a free cocktail at the bar! The room was clean, the bed comfortable and it did have a refrigerator and microwave in the room!

"Good Value/Stopping place"

We stopped here enroute from the northeast to the southeast. The location is convenient to I95. One of the perks is that this Best Western has a cocktail lounge, with an attached Denny's. They allow you to take drinks into the Denny's, or take Denny's food into the lounge. Very convenient after a long day of travel. They give you a "BOGO" coupon for the lounge, 20% off meal at Denny's and breakfast chit for Denny's as well. The room was spacious and clean. Very pleasant personnel.

Very good value and full Denny's breakfast. Beds are so comfortable and good in room coffee. We stay here on our Southbound trip when traveling to NJ we have stayed in the location for the last 3 return trips.

Best Western Point South was a great place to stay en route south. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. It was a pleasant surprise to have Denny's restaurant on site...I had never been a fan...but the food was excellent and the service quick. Perhaps a place to consider when heading north as well!!

"Good Hotel, Lousy Restaurant"

We stayed here once before and were happy with our stay. Update construction was going on when we last stayed and has since been completed. Rooms are significantly improved. Bed comfortable. Shower great. A/C quiet. As with our last stay we didn't experience any external noise. Unfortunately, the restaurant associated with this facility has declined to a point where we view it as a negative. On our last visit we found it to be average. Now we rate it poor. Service is very slow. Food not well prepared. Our evening meal was so bad we considered going to the Waffle House next door for breakfast even though the hotel's complimentary breakfast was at the attached Denny's. Breakfast service at Denny's was slow. Wait staff unattentative. Food quality mediocre. Unlike the complimentary free breakfasts at other hotels, you are limited here to a choice of just three breakfasts: continental, eggs, or pancakes. Unlike other hotels, no television to watch morning news. Unlike other hotels, no getting up for more coffee or another muffin. After our experience this trip, we've decided to forego the free breakfast here. Now the question becomes: Do we try the Waffle House, the nearby McDonalds, or skip this hotel entirely? Tough choice because we very much like the hotel.

Very comfortable hotel. The staff was very helpful and having a named restaurant on the property was very convenient. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel property. The hotel was conveniently located right off the interstate highway. We were inclined to stop earlier than scheduled. I'm glad we did stop.

This motel was excellent for the cost. The front desk staff was welcoming, friendly & helpful. The room was clean & comfortable. A free breakfast at the adjacent Denny's was included, along with 20% off if you decided to have dinner there. They even provided a buy one, get one drink at the lounge if you care for that. The free wifi was excellent too. They also have an indoor pool but no hot tub. We were so impressed with the facility that we altered our plans so we could stop there on our return trip home.

This location is Awesome!! The Best motel I have stayed at in South Carolina. The staff is very professional, the rooms and grounds are very clean. Most of all this location is the safest I have ever stayed at, quiet and very family friendly. If you are on I-95 in the South Carolina this is The place to stay!! They care about the guests and will go out of their way to make sure your stay is enjoyable!!! 6 star motel in this guests opinion.

After several stays and being very satisfied, this stay became difficult. The owner stepped in and made the situation better, but it should never have happened to begin with. Private parties should be held in a different room other than the public bar.

Very nice, clean hotel and friendly staff. Good value. Great if you are traveling with your dog. Only downside is exit leading to hotel is tricky if navigating during high traffic times and leaving hotel is confusing if you are unfamiliar with area.

Our stay here was excellent. Comfortable clean room. Free breakfast at the Denny's that adjoins the hotel. Lots of grassy areas to walk the dog. Nikki at front desk was a welcome sight for two weary travelers. We will definitely stay here again and we would recommend it.

"BEST in the area!"

Stayed here for one night. The hotel is very convenient to I95 (note, it is NOT at the Ridgeland exit - we made that mistake and drove past it - but is at exit 33). The room was very clean and had a king bed (comfortable), a table with two seats (great for a meal being eaten in the room), small frig and micro. Everything was in working order. While the hotel was old, the room was well maintained. Our reservation included a full breakfast at Denny's (attached to the hotel), a buy one-get one drink in the small lobby bar (wine $ 6 a glass), and internet (fairly snappy). I would stay here again.

"very clean and good for overnight travel"

We stayed at this Best Western on our drive south to Florida. All we want is a very clean room that is comfortable and not very worn. We were very happy to have found this here. Breakfast was also included with a certificate for the connected Denny's. Although not every Denny's choice was included, we did have a nice satisfying breakfast that also included coffee and juice.

We were getting a little tired, so we stopped here instead of Savannah and were treated to some wonderful facilities at a great price! Huge indoor pool, 24/7 Denny's, and a great little bar in the lobby with a funny barkeep! (Who thinks he knows everything, but we stumped him on e=mc2! Lol!) The front desk staff, especially at checkout, needs a little refresher course on Customer Service, but besides that, this is a wonderful motel for the price!

Older hotel they have updated the rooms. It's still a older style but it is clean and has friendly staff. With Denny right there they do have a very good breakfast. 4 different choice. Very friendly servers.

If you are just looking for sleep and a shower it's ok was being updated at the time of my stay. Over priced compared to better hotels I've stayed at a plus is a Denny's attached at the time of my stay the hotel gave a voucher for one of three different breakfast meals which could be used anytime during your stay

"Foul Smelling Room"

Rented this room at 12:30 am after several hours on the road. Front desk employee was very kind and professional. I rented the last room with a king bed. Upon walking to the room I spoke with a female standing outside the room next door. She told me she hoped my room was ok because her room had a bad smell to it. When I walked into my room I immediately smelled a strong musty/moldy odor. Knowing there was no way I could sleep here I went back to the front desk and requested another room. There were no other comparable rooms so the desk employee immediately refunded my money and apologized for the inconvenience. I then hit the road looking for another motel.
