Best Western Point South

Overall room was fine. They actually offer quite a bit of options for breakfast but the room is definitely too small for the size of the hotel. Check in was efficient and even had some fresh cookies and coffee. Not much around the property definitely a highway stop.

We had a great stay here at Best Western .The staff at the reception desk are super nice ,dogs are welcome and we were even treated to a gift bag for the dog ! The beds are super comfy and the duvets beautiful. Great room and a gorgeous huge courtyard outside plus the biggest indoor pool and to top it all pretty flowering planters greet you at the front and large pots filled with palms surrounding the courtyard and entire building.A wonderful hot breakfast - homemade biscuits - need I say more ? We will definitely be back on our next road trip .gail

After a grueling 13 hr drive, this place was a haven. The front desk staff were great. They have a fully stocked bar and lounge that was so nice to relax with a glass of wine rather than hopping in the car and driving somewhere. The place was clean and quiet. Definitely a gem.

I have used this hotel for years since it is the half way point for the Florida keys. I teach scuba lessons and travel often to the keys for clients. Friendly staff that makes checking easy and quick. Clean rooms, nice size refrigerator to fit milk, orange juice and other items. I wish they would do something with the empty restaurant. Maybe turn it into conference rooms?

I was completing a cross country roadtrip with my husband and pet. We wanted to find a hotel close to a touristic spot we wanted to visit the following day and this hotel was pet friendly. The check in process was simple and to my surprise they gave me a pet care package, which included treats, water, and dog cookie. My dog loved it. It made us feel welcomed and appreciated for our stay. Will definitely visit another property soon!

Check in was easy. The room was clean but in rough shape and smelled. Towels and bedding very worn. Tiny and dark bathroom. Toilet barely flushed. Ok for one night but not worth the money we spent on the room. Totally overpriced. Would definitely not return.

Clean. Basic motel with parking and entrance at door of rooms. Person at front desk was very accommodating, which I greatly appreciated. People in the morning were very pleasant also. Not much more to say , it fit my needs for one night. Good bye

Not a bad property but a bit overpriced. I would probably not stay here again. Breakfast was adequate but matresses or pillows not to my liking. Room was quiet enough. In room coffee undrinkable. Reasonable selection of restaurants in the area.

The toilet didn't flush right. We need to wait more than 30 minutes to flush another. The staff are helpful especially, helping me bring my bags on the second floor. And breakfast in that hotel is good. The noise of the truck coming in the parking lot…

The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. The room could use some cosmetic upgrades and maybe an additional comfy chair. Check in was simple and the bar looked nice although we were to tired from traveling to enjoy it. We did not use the pool. All in all it was good.

Stayed in a pet friendly room, paid a pet friendly fee. Got into the hotel at almost 2 am, so I went right to bed with my pup. The next morning found, THREE CHICKEN BONES on the floor. Absolutely disgusting.

Close to I-95. Very clean but could use some updates. Hot breakfast is good. They do have parking for truckers and a couple left very early in the morning, 3am and 4am and we could hear them leave but not bad. On our next to Florida we plan to stay there again.

Awesome place to stay with your dog! The hotel's staff is very accommodating and friendly. At check-in, each dog receives a wonderful welcome goodie bag. The grounds are well lite, providing a safe place to walk your dog. We stay regularly when traveling and always have an excellent experience.

Everything was good except the bath/shower. The shower wall was caved in and poorly fixed and the jetted tub did not work. Other than that the room was good. The breakfast was great with a large variety.

Found this hotel online when looking for a stopover hotel while on our way to Florida. We like Best Western's in general because if their reasonable prices and breakfasts. This was right off 95. The room was clean. There was a dehumidifier running in the room which made the room so much more comfortable given the heat and humidity outside. The pool was large and clean. The hotel was quiet. The breakfast was delicious and the breakfast staff was especially helpful and pleasant. We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked the hotel again on our return trip home from Florida.

Our stay here was a stop along the way. Everything was adequate, clean and comfortable. Bar, lounge is on premise to help one unwind. Breakfast was simple but good. The location is perfect an overnight stop. We slept well in our comfortable room.

The person working the front was extra nice to me in offering me a room for just a few hours so i can get some sleep on a trip from FL->NJ. I was amazed by their southern hospitality by giving me “cat bags” so my cats can also get some sleep with as little stress as possible. 10/10 for the staff, they deserve a raise!

I stayed on the 1st floor with my family and baby for 1 night while traveling south to Florida. We did a walk in booking, which was easy. Below is a list of the pros and cons from my stay: Pros: - Located right off of 95 - Easy check in and check out (staff was behind/near the desk) - Receipt was easily printed by staff upon request - Clean room - Good breakfast options (the waffles were great) - Parking right outside of the room - I was able to put my baby's playpen/bed between the two beds easily. Cons: - Room updates would be helpful (i.e. - carpet) - There was sandy material outside of the room on the sidewalk/parking lot which easily tracked onto shoes as it had rained.

Great stay. Room and bath was clean and all staff very accommodating. Only down side was no comfy chair. Table and 2 chairs (very uncomfortable) to eat but not a chair to watch tv. I am not comfortable sitting in bed watching t v.

We did not have high expectations for the Best Western, but we also booked last minute when other hotels were unavailable, so that is on us. That said, we were so pleasantly surprised by this establishment, especially for the very wallet-friendly price. The outside is a bit run down, but the room was clean and welcoming. The folks at the front desk were super friendly. The breakfast buffet had many more items than expected, and the food was delicious! The beds and pillows are so comfortable and we slept really well. We would definitely stay here again.

Do not let the online photos fool you! This hotel is more of a dated, lumpy bed MOtel! And not a great location. It's nowhere. Yikes! The front desk staff was very friendly. They let me know that there were NO restaurants in the area. Only fast food. The room was clean. That's about it. I couldn't wait to leave.

Our hotel stay was excellent! Raj(I believe he's the manager) checked us in, he was very helpful and friendly! We had one tiny problem with our TV, and he immediately solved it and took care of it, which we really appreciated! Everyone there, including the rest of the front desk staff and the housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful as well. Our room was excellent, bed was very comfortable! A tasty hot breakfast is included. The hotel inside, as well as the grounds outside, were immaculately clean. Additionally, they are pet friendly and even have a treat bag for your doggie! I highly recommend staying here!

This hotel has nothing to recommend it other than a fabulous heated pool, which one has to see to believe. We almost returned this year (we stayed here a year ago,in January 2022) just for the pool. Yemassee has almost no restaurants. Last year we drove to get (decent) Chinese takeout from a hole-in-the-wall, which we ate in our room, sitting on the floor, with our coffee table holding the food.

Hotel Staff was nice but this is exactly a motel. It's kept clean for what it is - although chairs in the room were covered in stains. There isn't much else in the area though so I guess it is what it is.

Customer service was terrible including supervision i was charge twice and staff did not know procedures from the hotel or neither online services call phone provided by hotel and nobody pick up phone.

Room was very Nice and clean. Loved the doggie bar, very nice touch. Liked the luggage carts placed around rooms for luggage help. Loved the waffles, would've liked to see more fresh fruit. Pool however was really cold. Ice machine broke.

Rooms are disgusting, unclean, and smelly. Shower heads are grimy. The cost of the room was not worth the stay.Do not recommend to stay there. Do your self a favour stay somewhere else. I would give them 0 star

The rooms are dated but looks like they are remodelling which I saw on the other side of the hotel. Very convenient access to 95. The beds are not that comfortable but the staff provided us good experience.

The room was clean and neat and everything worked. The grounds are great, especially for our dog, with lots of grass and a big live oak in the middle of lots of grass.. The breakfast was full and very nice. The only downside is that it is a "nice" restaurant desert. Luckily we knew that and stopped at a Cracker Barrel half an hour away.

This is a first, they have a dehumidifier in the room, so no dampness or musty smell!!! Quiet and comfortable. A great night sleep for a single woman traveler. Definetly will put on my list to stay here again.

Not a great choice. It's a decent $50 room, but a terrible $100 room. Pay an extra $30 and stay in Savannah or Florence. Low shower pressure, toilet didn't flush well, sink didn't drain, dehumidifier in every room hummed all night. Bed was like a bouncy house. Awful.

BEWARE if staying with a pet ... stayed one night w/my pet and what a disaster. The rooms are clean-ish but very dated and smelled like stale smoke, but they had a nice area outside to walk my dog, and since we were just sleeping and leaving, I was fine with it. Breakfast was a joke; area was dirty, and the food was just reheated junk. We checked out and imagine my surprise 2 days later when there is a $150 additional charge on my credit card. Called the hotel and was told it was because "my dog pooped all over the room" ... excuse me, NO - that is a lie. I asked for the manager to call me and surprise, surprise, he never did. I called them back now and what a disaster, the manager was so rude. He said they my dog pooped on the floor between the bed & window so when I signed the contract checking in, I agreed to pay any clean up charges. I contested the fact that my dog DID NOT poop in the room, and he said they had pictures. I then asked for time/date stamped pictures, along with verification that the pictures were in fact from the room I stayed in. I told the manager I was going to contest these charges with my credit card company, and he then got angry with me and said that is not how I should be handling this situation and talking to him like that, and he wasn't going to email anything and then the called ended. Now I have to spend time escalating this with Best Western and my credit company, what a bunch of scammers at this hotel!!!

One of the most pleasant stay off I-95 on the way to Florida. The place was very clean and comfortable, the staff very respectful and the breakfast was fresh and tasty. We will stay there again and will recommend to our friends

This Best Western is clean and well updated. The beds are comfortable and the rooms were very clean. We did not use the pool but it was enclosed and looked nice. It is easy to get from 95 to the motel.

My husband and I and two friends stayed at this Best Western to attend the CJ Cup in October, 2022. The only good thing I can say was it was 11 miles from the golf course, the closest we could find. When we checked in, the woman at the front desk could not properly navigate thru the reservation- one credit card was covering both rooms - that was a really difficult transaction to accomplish, but eventually we got our room keys. Our room had a toilet that ran all the time. When the water filled up, it flushed - not pleasant during the night trying to get sleep. We eventually turned the water off. The next morning we reported the issue with the toilet to the front desk, and we were assured that maintenance would take care of it. We then went to the golf tournament. When we all returned, about 10 hours later, none of us could get into our rooms, as the keys apparently were coded for one night rather than 2. Also, our toilet was not fixed, what a surprise. We went out for a bite for dinner - the closest choices by 20 miles were McDonald's, Wendy's, and Subway. While we were eating, we all decided that we could not take another night in this hotel which was literally in the middle of nowhere. We packed in 10 minutes and drove the 3 hours back to our homes. Best Western should be ashamed.

After an exhausting trip on 95 we stopped here, we've been satisfied with BW before and travel with 2 dogs. We went to the lounge after checking in and met Velma who was bartending. It was my husband's birthday and she made it special for him! It was a joy talking to her and made the day memorable!

Best Western Point South Yemassee South Carolina Driving home from Virginia I missed the exit where the motels I prefer are located. Continuing south I saw a billboard advertising Best Western “Hot breakfasts are back.” I did not know how much further before I would reach a large town with many motels; I was tired, and it was late afternoon so I stopped. Because I did not know the area and was driving alone I decided to take a chance since Best Western is a well known chain and I thought this motel would be okay for the night. After entering the lobby I had to decide if I should book a room or take my chances and continue going south. I should have kept driving even though there were many cars parked there. The room assigned to me had a heavy perfume scent and immediately I had an allergy attack. I returned to the lobby and spoke with the manager and he assigned another room which was scent free. The entire complex needs a major renovation – the covering on the lobby chairs are terrible; one end corner of a floor mat was slightly curled and posed a risk of tripping and falling. There was a very large riding lawn mower parked under one set of stairs. The room was clean; but, could be updated. The hot breakfast was more than sufficient as there were many offerings including real, not powdered, scrambled eggs. When checking out, the girl at the front desk was lounging in a lobby chair chatting on her cell phone. Although her words to me were not rude, her body language spoke volumes that it was a great imposition for having to get up to check me out. When I first went to the counter she said I should just leave my room key on the counter. I asked if I would get a receipt and she said yes. I asked if I would get it to take with me. She made some kind of sound, told the person with whom she was speaking to hold on, got up and went behind the counter to print my receipt. Best Western should be ashamed of this location and I do not recommend this location.

Overall the hotel is very nice. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was good and had plenty of selections to choose from. Nice and quiet couldn't hear the other guests at all. Water had a funky smell to it but used bottled water for coffee. Would definitely stay here again. Quick on and off from 95. Limited restaurants in the area.

Great hotel. Park your car right up to your door or use a luggage cart. Either way it's very easy to get luggage into the room. Rooms are spotless and the check in staff is professional and very friendly. They do their best to accomodate special needs. For pet owners, there's lots of green grass for dog walking with dog waste stations. Whole experience is very pleasant.

We found this hotel to be very aged and dated, but clean and friendly. Our room had a strange layout, with no desk. The bathroom was small, and it was difficult to shut the door once you were in the bathroom. The room is dark with a smaller TV. There was adequate hot water and water pressure. The mattresses are very hard. The breakfast was good, and the attendant did a great job. Please note that Yemassee has a population of maybe 1,000 and we it was not easy to find either a grocery store or a restaurant nearby. We would stay here again.

Torn inner and outer curtains, poor quality bedding and questionable area....we moved table and chairs against the door for security during the night. Would opt for a different hotel in the area. Room smelled damp and had a dehumidifier there to try and cover this up. Staff however are pleasant and Dara was very polite and friendly on check in - we avoided breakfast due to lack of/quality and opted for food on the road.

We booked our room while on our way down to the beach for a last minute Beach getaway with our 9 year old granddaughter. Our room was clean, exactly what we reserved, close to our parking spot and just a short walk to the very large and deep indoor pool. Breakfast was hot and they had bacon! This will definitely be our go to on our way to Florida from now on, thank you for a great stay.

Great place clean room, friendly workers,good breakfast will stay again in the future. Cocktails available,vending machines too easy parking & quick service. East access on & off I-95 Coffee & cookies available in the lobby the most important thing was a reasonable price for the room.

Stopped for the night on our way driving from ct to Florida and first they do not answer the phone at all, also the room smells and there's flies. It's gross. Don't recommend at all. Would've rather slept in the car

I normally dont leave reviews but this hotel deserves it. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and cozy as well. About 30 minutes after check in, we received a call from the front desk checking on us and making sure the room met our expectations. Ive stayed at very expensive hotels before and they didnt even do that! Will definitely stay here again if i am in the area

I love this place. Great Southern hospitality. I was here for four days, an I would definitely come back to stay. Minor fixes, but most of all all you need is a one stop shop. Waffle House staff is next door. I also love that place as well. Great staff there too. They are not like other places. Any who, BW is a pet friendly location, however, they should consider getting rid of their carpets simply because of that concern. Along with the many airborne and bloodborne pathogens not seen. and Covid-19. Overall I give this location a 9.

We are a family of six, grandma, parents and three kids 18,13,11. The house has lots of rules but once we entered the place, I totally agreed. The house is clean, really clean. The pool is good size and the pool area has chairs, grill, and the in pool night light made it amazing. There are plenty of towels for the pool. There are a security sensor which it rings every time you open the access door to the pool. We learned to press it couple time once the door is open to eliminate the security alarm- it is a safety feature. The master bedroom has a king bed and large full bathroom. The second room has a queen bed, closet, and separate bathroom. There are also 2 other rooms, one with bulk bed and the other with 2 twin beds and they share a bathroom. There are plenty of towels, plates and kitchen utensils and items, microwave, stove/oven and fridge. We enjoyed the ping pong table, and the foosball in the garage. no problem with laundromat and dryer, just bring your own detergent. The drive way can take up to 4 cars. The living room was so cozy and comfortable with big flat screen tv. The central AC made the house fresh and cool. The beds mattresses were very comfortable too. Every room has its own TV with Roku. The only thing, if the owner update the head showers in 2 bathroom and fix the drawers in the room, it will be great. The house is like 13 mins from all Disney parks, 27 mins from universal and Walmart and lots restaurants are just 5 mins away. My kids were never bored as there are lots of things to do. I highly recommend this house and I will definitely come back or use Our Florida Concierge for any future vacation.

Nice and clean, reasonably priced. Comfortable bed, fresh towels bigger than a postage stamp. Stay was quiet even though it was a pretty full house. Hot breakfast was very good and an added bonus. Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Can't go wrong staying here!

After a long day of driving we stopped at Point South for the night. We were greeted as if we were expected and warmly welcomed. The front desk attendant was a true professional and had us checked quickly. The room super clean and this is one of the best motel chains I have stayed in and I've stayed in quite a few over the years.

Comfortable one night stay for a long trip. Room was basically clean, pest free, quiet. Friendly staff. Just a few cobwebs & a little dust in cabinet. Comfortable bed, slept great! Convenient location off the highway. Fast food & has very close as well.

Convenient location off I95. Nice staff. Really well done hot breakfast. Comfy, clean room. Only fast food nearby so we ordered from a pizza place 20 miles away for an extra fee. I wouldn't do that again. However, would definitely stay here again! Beds were a little firm for me but not uncomfortable. Good solid choice.

Extremely upset at such a horrible hotel experience (really a motel that is false advertised)... arrive at hotel late as we are stopping on drive to Florida... find it to be motel with outside rooms overlooking horrid dumpster and trucks...ask for a second floor to find no elevator and only then realize entry from rooms are outside like old motel... enter our first floor room to find no AC on and its in the 80s outside...bed is old, lumpy, sinking, and extremely uncomfortable... we finally fall asleep from exhaustion to wake at 7 am to bugs in wall (roaches) entry lobby smells, although it does smell like some sort of cleaning product covering up something ... lobby uphostery is worn and chairs that were once attractive are gross with stains where people rest their heads... I could let the lobby go if not so disturbed by lack of hotel description on site explaining about outside rooms, and all the great reviews that have to be false... I do not feel safe or comfortable staying at this hotel... I realize it is not a 3 star or higher facility, but for the price it should not be the poor quality of a cheap 1 star truckstop

Very clean, comfy & great breakfast. We came here at the last minute after a long drive from FL. The front desk woman, Kayla was on her first day of the job & so very sweet. The owner gently came up to help her through the booking process. He was so kind with her. I had specific needs & they were very accommodating. They even had a token bag for pets which I found delightful. The rooom was very neat & clean. We were quite comfortable & it was quiet. The breakfast was hot or cold, my favorite was the great biscuits, fruits & such. For hubby it was the sausage gravy! Quite the hit for him. Overall, it was a nice stay for one night. Thank you so much.

Kinda stumbled into the place on a long distance road trip. Great deal, especially for a place a hotel bar. Miss Vee is awesome if you catch her there. Otherwise, clean room, friendly staff, and even provided a goodie bag for the dog.

As we were driving to Florida, we stopped for one night. Staff were friendly, especially the lady that did the morning breakfast. Our room was clean , the bed was comfortable.Apparently this place is pet friendly but, we had none. Breakfast was good and had variety. The lady even cooked us hash browns just for us, she was extremely serviable.

Really nice breakfast. Room had some odor may just be an old building. There was a fly in the bed. Between the fitted and flat sheet. No bed bugs though. I booked online where I requested a bottom floor room as stairs can be difficult. The front desk clerk informed that those requests aren't looked at until you check in. Then what's the point in the having a request section.

We stop here 4 times a year traveling between the Northeast and Florida. This is a great pet friendly hotel (we travel with cats). Staff were friendly and check in/out was quick. We always make reservations to insure a pet friendly room.

I couldn't believe how spotless this room was when I first came in. Nice surprise! Good size fridge, plenty of room, and I slept great. The only thing that may matter to some people is that the 2nd floor rooms require stairs, but that wasn't a problem for me. I was very pleased with this hotel room. Ask for the first floor and you can park right at your door. The price was more than reasonable.

This hotel was convenient to I-95. The breakfast was ok and the breakfast receptionist was very friendly and helpful. That was the good and reason this wasn't rated a one star. The door to the room was deteriorated and needed replacement. The security of the door was working. The mattress on the bed should have been thrown away along time ago. There was a hole on one side, a large hump in the middle and the other side was slopped towards the edge of the bed. You had to pick who would sleep in the hole and who would sleep on the hill. Unbelievable. We were travelling north and very tired so we hit the bed and didn't report the issue to management as they had to know this and accepted it.

The hotel has grown old and tired. It's dingy and sad. A deep clean will not do it, this property is in need of a major overhaul. Smallest TV we've seen in a hotel room in years. Low toilet seat. Cash grab of $20 for pet fee. This room cost us about $70 too much. Too many other options.

The motel is old and tired but reasonably well maintained, clean and hospitably staffed. The breakfast is more than adequate. I chose this as a rest stop on a trip to Florida because it was much less expensive than options nearer to Savannah

My husband and I along with my niece and her family stopped for the night on the long drive to Disney World. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The room was not so great all in all but acceptable. We couldn't open the door thinking the key just didn't work so the worker came and unstuck it while maneuvering the handle. It pretty much remained a challenge to open and shut properly. We also had trouble getting the ac to keep running. My niece's husband got it to work for us. The room was clean but kind of worn in spots. One of the beds mattresses was really broken down so we didn't use that one. We left early for our drive so the hot breakfast wasn't open yet but the nice worker packed up seven breakfasts of our choice. Service was great but hotel could use some work along with repainting the pool area. All in all it was a positive experience because of the people who work there.

The property needs updating (painting and refurbishing) but everything was clean and the staff was exceptional. Nice breakfast included. There was very good parking and open space. Dog friendly. Would stay there again.

We broke down driving back to Canada and after Seth from A&M tire and auto fixed our car for practically free, we arrived at Best Western Point South and met Mrs. V. Probably the nicest bar tender I have ever met in my life. She is fantastic. Southern hospitality is not a lie.

The rooms are in need of updating. However, the rate paid was fair, the room clean, quiet, and a nice break/overnight off of I-95. ...Don't know why we have to write a minimum of 200 characters,when what we wrote was sufficient wording....Just more rules- signs- signs-EVERYWHERE A SIGN BLOCKIN' OUT THE SCENERY.....

We had an enjoyable stay and the staff was amazing. OK, this is not the Ritz. The room was a little outdated and such. BUT, it was VERY clean and the beds were comfortable. They were so welcoming on the phone and on our very late arrival. The breakfast area was SUPER clean and the food was very good. I would highly recommend this place for anyone needing a safe, quiet, and clean place during their travels. We certainly will stay there again if we need travel accommodations.

This Best Western is affordable and the staff is wonderful. The early morning auditor is kind, fast, and attentive. The rooms could use some updating, however, they are clean, comfortable, and cozy. I would definitely stay here again and try out their breakfast and heated indoor pool.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. Easy access off of I95. The breakfast was hot and very good. We checked in late and went to the pool which was a great way to relax after a long drive. You won't be disappointed.

Pet-friendly hotel on the Rte 95 corridor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room itself was very clean, but there were old stains on the carpet and chairs. The table in the room was repaired badly with obvious dripping wood glue. Although we requested a non-smoking room and the door sign indicated such, there was a heavy smell of smoke in the room. I will look elsewhere in the future.

When you are putting in hours and hours on a road trip and finally call it a day, what do you want most in a hotel stop? A comfortable bed in a clean room at a reasonable rate. Wow, did this BW deliver. Outstanding mattress, pillows and linens way beyond expectation in perfect comfort. What's more, there was a good shower, a cold fridge, fast wifi, sharp tv, thick towels, quiet & responsive a/c and heat, friendly staff, adequate hot breakfast, good coffee and even a small bar open late and a (sadly temporarily closed) restaurant on site as well as an indoor pool (we didn't use those). But a great night's sleep in a very quiet property right at the I-95 exit was the dominating winning asset. Not much in the way of local dining choices or service amenities, but if you want that all-important road trip overnighter, this is a true hidden gem. Who'd have thought? One of the best values this road warrior has encountered in years of highway hotel stops. Don't hesitate - park it here at Best Western for the night.

Great clean place. Great service at checkin Free breakfast with many options I would return next time I'm passing through. They even have a lounge to have a drink. Definitely one of the better BW I've stayed in along I95.

Great value. This hotel was clean, the staff were courteous and helpful and perfect location immediately off 95. We left before breakfast was offered but they gave us a bag breakfast. This will be a regular stop for us on our drives down to Florida.

Friendliest staff ever at any hotel!! EV charging. Clean, nicely decorated rooms! Allows pets at an affordable price. Large lit parking lot. Easy on/off of I95. Great price! Free breakfast. They gave our dog a bag of food with a bottle of water, huge treat bone, dog bags to clean up after dog. The staff even called us approximately 30 min after checking in yo see if all was ok and if we needed anything. How cool is that? Pool was heated to a warm comfy temperature but we didn't go in, it would of felt great! Beds were comfy. Grounds are well kept and landscaped. Water in shower pressure was great too. Lounge open til 11 pm There is NOTHING to not like. Will definitely make this our stop when traveling thru. Thank you Best Western staff.

Clean, friendly & convenient! Traveling to Key West & was looking for an overnight stay without breaking the bank. Found this gem that allows parking right in front of your room. While not the Ritz, the rooms were exactly what we needed! King bed with clean room & bathroom with soaps, shampoo, etc. Free Wi-Fi & breakfast…HOT BREAKFAST! I'm talking real scrambled eggs ( not those powdered wannabes), fluffy biscuits & gravy & fresh coffee! Fresh fruit, cereal & bagels, etc. April was very attentive to making sure the area was clean & well stocked! If you are in need of an overnight stay, would highly recommend this location!

The location of this Best Western is convenient to I-95. The parking lot is very large, always allowing plenty of parking. The rooms are always clean and stocked properly. The hotel breakfast is a real meal, not just a box of cereal. Good Job Point South Best Western

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and well lit hotel. This hotel is pet friendly, and had a crib for our infant. It was very difficult to find a place that had both and we were so thankful to find this hotel. They also have an indoor pool, free hot breakfast (yes, even with COVID it is a excellent selection), and free EV charging for guests. There's nothing more we could have asked for. We asked for a first floor room with a crib and got exactly what we asked for ready right when we arrived. The staff was overly nice and helpful- a big surprise from the other hotels I called around to on 95. The rooms are nothing exceptional, but are clean and have everything you need and everything works (and tub/sinks drained well). The water there tastes a bit strong, but they provide free bottled water. There are two 220V Tesla chargers, and one regular 220V charger available free for guests! We loved using this overnight and it charged up our 330 mile Tesla fully.

This hotel was very clean, had friendly clerks, gave us a bag of food for our dog, all around nice experience. The grounds were beautifully maintained. It was close to the highway, but no noise from it.

Hotel looks like a Motel 6 for $50 per room. I feel like they price gouged charging $170 for this facility. Room keys didn`t work tv didn`t work poor lighting desk clerks tried to help but facility is not very nice for price

Simple, clean, allows pets, very decent morning breakfast. Yes of course you will hear other people arriving late after you have settled but this is almost the standard anyway in hotel stays. I think for the price, this was a very good value, sleep, hot shower, coffee, breakfast, satisfied.

Everything was great here. The hotel was clean and the bathroom was white and super clean. My only warning would be to get to the second floor its outside stairs. Which if you have small children or alot of luggage can be a bit of a pain. No elevators.

The man who checked us in and the woman who managed all the breakfast were simply outstanding. We travel quite a bit and stay in various levels of accommodations (this Best Western was selected because of location and being pet friendly for our dog), and I have rarely experienced such professional, warm and engaged service at far more luxurious hotels.

The staff was wonderful, gave us a call when we got to our room to b sure all was good. The bed was not very comfortable & sheets were stiff. The room was clean & air conditioner worked great. Breakfast was not good. One section was for people w/ animals. The grounds could use a good cleaning! For the price it's fine. Safe & clean room was all we needed. No frills but wow was the staff great!!

This hotel is right off rt. 95 Though it is a good size hotel, it was quiet without any outside noise. Staff was polite and room was adequate for our travel needs. Had good breakfast hours though the breakfast room was on the small size, everything flowed good. The only negative is the indoor pool. The coloring of the pool walls causes the water to look dirty and you can not see the bottom of the pool. Though it was clean and refreshing, it was uncomfortable not being able to see a bottom in 6 and 8 foot of pool water.

On my way back from DC, heading to tampa on my motorcycle, I googled this Best Western, hoping to avoid the traffic/rates in the Savannah metro area. I try to stay at Best Westerns whenever possible, as their business model is privately owned BW-branded properties. So they're all a little different, and that's fun. Unfortunately, the pandemic, coupled with the difficulty in getting employees back into the hospitality sector, has resulted in most BWs being bare bones basic, e.g., bag breakfasts, etc. This property has a real hot breakfast -- eggs, meat, the real deal. My room was spotless, the property is beautifully landscaped, and they're updating the rooms one by one. I had an older style room but it was spotless, the bathroom was antiseptically clean. Finally, Brian, who is the front office manager, was unbelievably helpful and thorough (and quick!) in checking me in. Forget the high price places in Savannah metro -- this property is perfect for a clean (very clean) comfortable stay, with a killer breakfast.

We were traveling from Florida back up to Southwest Virginia and had opted to find a hotel for the night rather than travelling straight through. We chose this Best Western and I cannot say enough good things. Upon arrival we noticed how clean and well maintained this property was and could see who ever owns this really takes pride in it. The front desk personnel went beyond friendly and courteous and was truly a great reflection to this hotel. We checked into our room and it was SPOTLESS. From gleaming bath facilities , to clean fresh sheets to the " clean remote" provided I cannot tell you how impressed we were. The front desk even called us in the room about 15 minutes after we checked in just to make sure the room was ok and if there was anything we needed to please let them know. Definitely impressed! The room was fresh and very clean smelling, They have a wonderful enclosed pool area, a bar, and everything you need to have a comfortable nights stay. It was extremely peaceful and quiet and its set away from the road so there is no night traffic that keeps you awake. I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. I was extremely surprised to see a few negative reviews about this hotel and was wondering if they could be speaking about another Best Western as this one reflected NONE of the issues these people were speaking about. All I can say is the owner of this hotel should be very proud of the employees that have definitely gone above and beyond in providing great hospitality and awesome housekeeping skills. This hotel is truly a real gem and we will have no issue with ever staying here again.

This hotel has an old motel vibe. Rooms 117 and 119 were clean and it was quiet. The pool area had some trash that needed to be picked up, but the pool itself was clean. The kids enjoyed an early-morning swim before we left. I would stay here again. Be careful when entering in the address for this hotel. Someone played with Google Maps and if you are not paying attention, you will end up at a jail right off of 95.

the room was shabby with the only seating being a very worn out settee, the UBS outlets did not work, the room and bathroom were clean but very outdated. I stayed in several hotels on this trip and this one was the worst and also the most expensive

Avoid this hole in the ground King room smelled of mildew. Previous guest pubic hair on toilet. In room coffee machine didn't work. Worst, the restaurant is closed for renovations and there are no other options for miles. Had they communicated this up front I would have picked anywhere else. A ridiculously high rate for one of the worst stays I've ever had

We spent the night here on the way to Florida. It was a very clean hotel. Upon arrival, even though it was late, we were offered warm cookies and some of the best sweet tea i have ever had. Entire staff was very friendly. Free breakfast was good! Great value and location for traveling to Florida.

Great place to stay for our stopover stay travelling with pets. Rooms were clean. Special package for pets. Small lounge to get a happy hour drink after a long drive. Ample places to take pets out to relieve themselves. Quiet.

All hotel rooms at any hotel in this price range are pretty much all the same. It is the staff and customer service that makes the difference. The folks at this hotel were very helpful and great to deal with. The co-owner, Raj, was obviously proud of his hotel and provided exemplary customer service. We will be staying here again.

A big shoutout to management for refunding my card when I had canceled my room. For some reason when I canceled using the app it didn't work even though Best Western sent me an email confirmation that the room had been canceled. I am happy to be a Diamond Select member and will be staying here on an upcoming trip.

Me and my family of 4 traveled from MD to SC for a funeral. We stopped here, checked in at 1 am and the front desk lady was very friendly and accommodating. Explained everything in detail (where to park, breakfast, etc). Our room was clean and the bed/pillows were comfortable. Once we settled in we got a call on the bedside phone asking if everything in the room was okay. Checkout was quick and smooth. Would highly recommend.

i checked into this location due to having a hybrid car and they advertised a charging station for guests. and of course it did not work. the one that did work was for a tesla and i have a chryler pacifica. this location even had a full hot breakfast to offer guests. room was clean and well sanitized but i did my own. easy on and off the hwy but limited places to eat and get gas. would stay else where next time that has more to offer

We have stayed at this hotel many times. It is conveniently located just off 95. The price is always reasonable and the service has always been good. We enjoy the warm clean indoor pool facility. It's very relaxing. The restaurant is currently closed and used to be a Danny's. Hopefully the canreopen when Covid circumstances allow.

You can tell the hotel has been updated from the original build, so it lacks some of the fanciness of other Best Westerns I've stayed at. That being said, it was clean and welcoming. Andy, the young lady at the front desk, was exceptionally helpful and friendly and was the highlight of the stay. Please give her a raise!

We picked this motel out when we decided how much longer we wanted to drive south on US 95. We picked it due to its excellent reviews and price. We were not disappointed. The staff was very friendly and professional, the room was immaculately neat and clean. It was a very comfortable place to stay and would recommend it to anyone.

Three critters in the room but they stayed away or died suddenly. Room was OK, TV was decent, some channels looked better than others. Lots of choices. Parking plentiful at least for this night. Grab bag breakfast due to virus. We passed. $92 with AAA, several dollars cheaper than BW in Charleston.

I am not handicapped. But I am a senior and so I don't object to having a handicapped room. That aside, I really just needed a non-smoking room. And that was the only one available. So I took it. But it was upstairs? To the credit of the hotel, they asked if I could walk up 14 stairs. But the only thing that qualified it as handicapped was hold bars in the bathroom. I question why they bother classifying that as handicapped. That aside, I was pleased with the room. The pool was indoor, so no noise from that despite facing it. Blackout drapes blocked out most of the light. And if you are concerned about cleaning during covid, they are not allowing anyone to rent for 48 hours after someone stays there (and they do disinfect the room). Only issue I had was the toilet had a minor leak that caused it to run. I just closed the door so i didn't have to hear.

This hotel is the best at this location. Rooms are very clean and even in the pets friendly room.I was at red roof inn a few nights and got are up with fleas and had HIVES cause I am allergic to fleas went across the street to best western and it was the best move ever. The staff was real nice sweet understanding and caring. Beds are nice sheets are clean beds are clean everything is clean I loved it. The inside POOL was even nice too. I would recommend this hotel to anybody stopping through or even to stay for a few nights or weeks. Not too many restaurants but you can't blame that on the hotel.

We travel between Florida and New York every summer. Tried this motel this summer since it is near the one we stopped at last year but had better reviews than the other one. Was pleased that it was better maintained and cleaner than most of the BW motels we have stayed at along 95. Will be staying here again on the way back, but will be packing our own breakfast since they did not offer much.

I understand we are all under stress adapting to Covid-19. However, spiders in the room, not having what was promised with the "Grab and Go" breakfast was very disappointing. Offered three types of juices only one was available... "Berry" and it was undrinkable taste wise. Only one of three promised fruit was available.

This was a good place for a quick stopover on our way to Florida. First time we ever had stayed there. They have a nice little bar area and restaurant on premises. For the most part staff were good and friendly, the bartender was not a happy guy!

Our family visits this hotel every year on our way to Snowshoe. The staff and accommodations are just perfect. Having an awesome place to eat, drink and sleep is so convenient for our family! They even gave our service dog a goodie bag

Most importantly, the room and sheets were clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly. The shower head is higher than at most hotels which is great for tall people. Breakfast was adequate. The fruit was fresh and good in cereal. The scrambled eggs were hot. There were also muffins, waffles, hard boiled eggs and a few other options. The exterior of this hotel is tired looking and there were a lot of puddles due to rain.

Rooms desperately need updating. Carpets were filthy. We didn't even want to sit on the couch. Horribly overpriced. We've been staying in Best Westerns during our cross country drive and this by far was the worst.

A great cross roads stop. Very near I-95 Breakfast is ho-hum. Staff is super friendly. Lots of parking. Very nearby restaurants and gas. Rooms are tired. Toilets are sluggish. We have stayed here several times. A safe a convenient stop Bonus a free tour at Frampton Plantation a nice diversion at the end of the day about a five minute walk from your room. Pet friendly. There is a pool pavilion no bathrooms that I saw in the pavilion I might be wrong. Hope there is though Needs a upgrade but will stay again.

My son and I pulled off the highway for the night and we came upon the BW. This place was great...there is a dedicated dog room area at the very rear of the hotel, so I didn't have to worry that we might bother other guests. There is also a huge grassy area for walking them and you can park your car steps from your room. Huge bonus is that there is a restaurant and bar attached to the hotel, so you don't have to leave the premises to get dinner or a beer after a long day traveling. Food at the restaurant is very good. My beer cost me $3.75, which is unheard of in the Northeast.

My family of four stayed here for one night on our way to FL. The rooms are old, even though it looks like they tried to update. The beds were very uncomfortable and very noisy when rolling over which made it hard to get a good nights rest. The staff were all very nice and the breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast bar. It was OK for a quick stop as we used a free night we had through BW. We probably will not return to this hotel unless the beds are updated.

Rooms were dirty along the walls and behind the nightstand where we plugged in our cell phones. Beds small and rock hard. Room had fridge and microwave. We didn't utilize the pool. Breakfast was very good, just small area to eat in. Other motels in the area. I'd stay at a different one next time we need a place to stay on the way to Florida.

Answered that in my title. Like rooms with doors that do not require going through the motel. Most restaurants that are attached are not very good, but this one is not fancy, but food is good and reasonably priced. Collard greens were so good I bought some to take with us. Would stay here again based on our last experience

With a long day behind us driving from DC and having chosen this hotel only based on travel time, we were extremely impressed with the check in. Attentive receptionists who welcomed us and our dog with a goodie bag. Will stay again. Overall great secure and comfortable accommodations just off I95

Slightly out of the way from other sites along 95, but much safer for a woman travelling alone. And they look after you. Always will have truck sounds, but relatively quiet and not have to worry about vehicle.

We travel with our dogs so finding pet friendly accommodations is important. The staff is very personable. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The on-site restaurant offers a variety of food. Only downside in restaurant was that we ordered decaf coffee and afterwards, since we couldn't get to sleep after a day of travel, we concluded the coffee was not decaf. Breakfast was standard fare. Breakfast area was clean. We've stayed here before and no doubt will stay here again.

Due to my services animal I was banned to a downstairs rm. front desk wouldn't listen that being in a downstairs rm was extremely uncomfortable thus making me unable to sleep. I'll never ever stay at a best western hotel again

What a lovely hotel. There is a full restaurant and bar inside the hotel. Breakfast served each morning, potatoes, grits, eggs, and ham was listed for Sunday morning in the lobby. I was pleasantly surprised to see a waffle maker, bagels, and cereal in addition with all the works. Bottles of water, soap, shampoo, conditioner, ironing board, iron and a quality hair dryer came with our room with two full sized beds. Three pillows on the bed. The beds were comfortable although not pillow tops. The room was very clean. I would stay here again. The staff were very friendly and professional!

Very well maintained and CLEAN Hotel near the i95. The staff is very plesant and hospitable. Also very good afordable restaurant on site and a complete complementary hot breakfast. Will definately make this hotel my overnight stop on my next trip.

Service was excellent, so clean, beautiful decor of rooms, quiet. The lounge was really nice, the food from the restaurant was amazing, delicious. The pool area clean and pool was very big. The bed was comfy and cold air conditioner.

Compared to most interstate hotels Best Western was a lot cleaner and very pleasant to deal with. This was my wife and I first time staying at Best Western during this trio from Florida to NY. We have been doing this trip over 10 years and have tried multiple hotel chains. In our opinion this is one of the best and we will definitely stay with them again

This is an older hotel - but the rooms were very clean (no smell at all), great shower pressure, soft towels and comfy beds. There was also a nice size refrigerator/freezer. Pets are treated as well as the guests - we were handed a pet gift (milk bones and bottled water) upon check in. Nice grassy area for dogs right outside your room. Although I did not use it -- there was a restaurant and lounge onsite as well. Free breakfast too!

My pets are my family. This motel treats animals like family even providing a doggy treat bag with fresh drinking water. That was a wonderful surprise. The motel was convenient to get to from I 95 south. My only objection was the room felt damp but I stayed at another motel not a best western on my departure trip which was like camping out it was so wet. May just be the high humidity this tome of year I really liked the larger sized refrigerator to keep food and drinks in while I was traveling. I will stay there again on next trip! We ordered takeout food from the restaurant next door at 9:50 pm. the restaurant was closing but they went above and beyond to still prepare a deliciously homemade meal for us-,super generous portions and delicious! I got fish tacos and rice- best I've ever eaten!

Stopped because of the weather and was tired. Was disappointed that prices were different at the hotels. But was nice to get a military discount. All around it was a nice property and the people were nice. The lady in charge of the breakfast area wasn't very sociable, but food was decent.

In general BW is clean,reliable, friendly yet professional and seems safe. I particularly liked the one in downtown Wilkes Barre-just a wonderful experience with a pet too!. BW is one of my top choices for accomodations when on the road.

Didn't stay for the included breakfast as we needed to book it to South Florida. So can't give extra thumbs up for the included breakfast. Our room was clean and comfortable, wifi and tv worked well! Didn't try the in-house restaurant but found Hunt Brothers Pizza at the KOA just a 5 minute drive. Great pizza.

We've stayed here multiple times. Pet friendly. It has nice rooms. The restaurant has good food. The landscaping needs some attention and watering. Also do a better job picking up litter around the walks. We will stay here again.

This hotel was the worst.....the bathtub was filthy ....not to mention slippery.....little frog was in the bathroom....desk people could have cared less when we checked out...Very overpriced....the newly opened restaurant (formerly Denny's) had delicious food but the service was very slow....They probably didn't expect the large number of people dining there...

Nice value for the money. Large well appointed room. Dated but had all the essentials and was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. We left very early before breakfast and the concierge gave us grab and go bags for our trip to snack on.

I would definitely go back. It's right off of the interstate, not much around. However, they have an on site restaurant. They give you 10 percent off. Food wasa good, lots on menu to choose from. Rooms were clean, breakfast was good. Fasanmi at the breakfast bar kept everything stocked. Crystal and Christine at the front dsek were extremely accomodating and always smiling!

We stop here twice a year on our vacation trips to Daytona Beach. It is a great hotel with a reasonable price. It is also very close to the Interstate, which makes it very convenient. I really like the hot breakfast, too!

For this area it's a veteran choice then the Motel 6. There is not much near the hotel for being right off of the interstate. There is a Waffle House and a gas station near and that's about it. I need a grocery store and I had to drive a half hour down the interstate.Reception is friendly. Room is average. Appears clean, has a microwave and fridge. This room has somewhat of a musty smell, or maybe a Clorox smell, It is very busy and looks like all rooms get booked. If you need to stop in the area I would recommend.

Large spacious room, very clean and quiet. Right off of Interstate 95. A lot of truckers stay here and that is a sign of a nice place, Added bonus is a full service restaurant on the premises beside the complimentary breakfast.

This is a clean, well kept motel, and a good pet friendly place to stay. There is a Mac across the street and a Waffle House next door, these are the only places I would recommend eating. The restaurant on-site needs some serious improvements.

Arrived for a 2-night stay and used the pool until check-in. The pool area is unsecure from outsiders and not a welcoming environment. It is very drab, dreary, and not attended to. I really don't know how often they treat the water. To add, the landscaping around the property is terrible with weeds everywhere. To note, the area had some shady characters around. One guy on a bike kept going up to cars looking for money and another guy was loitering around the hotel grounds on a cell phone. He seemed like a pimp of sort, so maybe they have prostitution issues? The check-in was interesting. I called and booked several months ago and was emailed a receipt. Well at check-in the amount due was $70 more. Also, I was given a military discount for the higher price but not for the original amount. He said the "system wouldn't take it." My take is them trying to pull a fast one to make a quick buck. The carpet in our room was filthy; my son's socks were completely black. Which makes you think how often they clean the carpets? On top of that, the room had a foul smell. It was almost like they dropped a bunch of sweaty socks in the middle of the room and left. It was nasty smelling.. The breakfast area is very small and they kept running out of food. Upon check-out, I asked for an updated invoice and the amount owed still wasn't correct. The front desk lady said the amounts can automatically revert back to the rate in the system and adjusted amounts don't save. Well what kind of 1920s system are they using? Long story short, look elsewhere. If you do stay, demand they show you the invoice at check-in and check it for accuracy. I would also monitor your credit card statement to ensure there are no iffy charges. The front desk CSR seemed very quick to take my money and I had to pry a receipt out of him. I found the place to be tacky and a poor example of how a hotel should be run. You can easily find a better stay for the same price elsewhere. I don't plan to return. GM - you can keep your canned responses to yourself. Actions speak louder than words.

Checked in to the Hampton Inn in Yemassee, SC...noted a McDonald's by the I95 exit to highway US17...asked where else is available to eat...they pointed us across US 17 to the Best Western and their in-house diner (no liquor license), but added, if you want to get an adult beverage, sit in the bar and the restaurant will serve you there...the “bar” was a small room, with five tables for two, and a “bar” with four seats. Bruce, our bartender, tended a well-stocked bar with a surprising wine list...we had two glasses of a German Mosel Reisling, while we were served three star food. Mostly tasty, but when you figure South Carolina's version of grilled fish tacos (tasty but heavily cream sauced) with collards (dry and from a can, come on you can do better), and a side of fried okra and fried pickles, both very good. The star is atmosphere, and Bruce from the Banana Boat Lounge.

This is an average hotel that is due for renovations. The staff here from check in, lounge, restaurant and check out did a great job and I would recommend this place to stay on your way down to the Gulf Coast or on your way back.

I normally don't like hotels that the doors face outside but this was a lot easier with a dog I stayed last night and was very satisfied. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Nice free breakfast $16 fee for dog. Lots of grassy areas to walk dog I stayed in room 159 that is in a separate building in back facing the courtyard not I-95 which made it lots quieter. Great good night sleep I would stay again!

Service and Food Great, building condition not so much!! General Manager was everywhere making certain guests had what the needed! Food quality,service and presentation excellent!! Guest rooms recently updated. The building and its condition, in general, leaves a lot to be desired. Needs a deep cleaning, painting and landscaping immediately. New ownership needs to put some serious dollars into the facility!

We went in without a reservation and it appeared they Inn was pretty full, we met Kevin at the front desk, he was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Luckily we got one of the two last rooms, they were clean and well stocked. Kevin gets the 5 Stars, the hotel is a four!

I loved that there was a restaurant onsite, so we could grab something to go and eat dinner in the room with the dogs. At check-in we were given a bag of goodies for the dogs, which was a nice touch. There was plenty of green space to walk the dogs and it felt very safe.

Great hotel to spend the night during our road trip back from Florida. Was pleasantly surprised with the room and how quiet it was despite many trucks in the parking lot. The only problem was that there is really not much available nearby in terms of places to eat although they do have a restaurant on site (didn't try it).The beds are really comfortable and the breakfast was as expected with Best Western

The location is excellent and figured greatly in our decision to stay here. I think the property could use an update but honestly, all told it was neat, clean and staffed by pleasant people who clearly cared greatly about providing excellent service. We're not a big fan of the 2-floor outside entrance type old style motel but this one is laid out well and while the decor is a bit last century it is clean. But....the air conditioner unit in our room is very loud, coming on with a clanking grumpy roar and whoosh! before eventually subsiding into silence and then starting the cycle all over again. Good thing we were tired or the AC would've kept us up all night. The breakfast buffet was pretty good, well-stocked and with good selections and the coffee wasn't too bad. The front desk lady deserves a special mention. She was very friendly and chatted with us a bit about her animal rescues. We weren't travelling with a pet, but clearly if we were they would have been welcome here.

After a long day of travel we arrived to a worn down and outdated Best Western Plus that should not include "plus". When we went to go to pool it was enclosed in an old run down building philthy dirty and a layer of oil, hair on the top of the pool! The next morning we waited for continental breakfast which was to open at 6:30 am until 6:50 am before leaving with 4 other frustrated families as it was still not open. Will never recommend or stay again!

Great spot for pet owners traveling along I 95. Spacious, grassy lawns on ground level for pets, comfortable rooms and good food at a moderate price. The staff were friendly and there was a beautiful indoor pool open until 10PM. It was quiet but very convenient to interstate travel on I 95. We recommend this facility highly for anyone traveling with pets through south Carolina.

Just what we needed to rest before our continued journey to De. Bed was comfortable and room clean and spacious! Loved the big sink area! The room we had was a ways from restaurant but we had overhang to walk under as it was raining

Lobby was updated. Rooms older. Beds comfortable enough. Great location. Convenience of restaurant on site, a little pricey but good. Breakfast had a separate charge of $16 per person but we would have spent as much elsewhere.

We have stayed at this property twice while on our way back to home. Service is great, cleanliness good, overall very comfy hotel. Making this our rest stop in the future. Thank you Kevin, and Holly for making this stay another good one!

I was pleasantly surprised how clean this hotel is and I was happy to pay $101 with the pet fee and tax as most other hotels down 95 aren't so clean. The room was pretty basic, but nothing was broken and it was a relatively quiet place to stay overnight. A room toward the back keeps you somewhat away from the truck traffic noise of the road. Motel style setup made load in and out easy. Everyone was super friendly, even to my dogs, and they let me see the room before paying without giving me a big eye roll. The attached restaurant is way better than all the fast food options around / a big plus after a long day of travel. I would stay here again.

I found this hotel property to be very comfortable and relaxing. Being a Professional Truck Driver it's always hard to find a hotel that is nice to stay at and it can accommodate big trucks. This property had ample truck parking, and one of the biggest perks was that it had an in house restaurant, that had a great menu, with really good food.

Nice motel. Clean, comfortable. Wonderful staff. Gas, shops and restaurants across the street. Just off the I 95. Restaurant and bar on site. A good safe spot for snow birds. We will stay again if the opportunity arises.

We have stayed here for over 20 years, both coming and going. It is an easy on and off from I-95. It is clean; the staff are great. Parking is great. Restaurant next door. We actually get our favourite room. If you are as BEST WESTERN person, it is even better!

Being this hotel is just off the highway, there wasn't any noise that usually comes with hotels near busy traffic. The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. The breakfast in the morning hit the spot before we hit the road. The main lobby has hot coffee and ice water available all day.

Clean comfortable room, but the bathroom door wouldn't close shut. The breakfast wasn't good. Scrambled eggs were slightly greenish, and didn't taste fresh. There aren't any good dining options nearby. The restaurant at the hotel served bland salty hospital food.

The people at the front desk were wonderful. I had a couple of small problems, but was quick to hear from the General Manager, whom certainly showed that he wants his place run perfect. It was appreciated.

This hotel is complete. A complete restaurant, bar, indoor pool, and free breakfast. We arrived early and never budged, with the car that it. We were busy and entertained from the time we arrived. A caring staff made the stay complete, A mislaid purse was found by staff and secured until we could recover it. This turned a potential nightmare into a pleasant experience.

I liked that our car was parked right in front of our room. Room was small but adequate. Just out of date and the shower needs updating. Would think it is worth about $75 a night not $100. Breakfast was ok nothing special. Area for breakfast could be bigger.

After eight hours of driving through horrible weather I was looking for a good night's rest.Saw the best western sign and pulled off I-95 .A young lady named Virginia was at the desk and checked me in quickly. Once in my room I found it clean and comfortable and was sleeping like a baby in less than an hour.Thanks to all I had a great rest .

Easy check-in with friendly staff. The rooms were very clean and no issues with appliances. We felt very secured and the staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again. This is an older hotel but everything worked well. We had no issues during our 3 night stay.

This was not a planned stay and although there was an indoor pool it was poorly maintained. The rooms were somewhat clean but very small. Staff was friendly and the attached restaurant was good. Did not feel all that comfortable leaving g our truck in the parking lot but our room was on the inside of the courtyard style motel.

We are moving from VT to FL with 2 12 year old border collies and a cat. We are all retired and aging out of cold winters. We are driving in an Avalanche, figuring our stops early afternoon, calling ahead to reserve a room to see if there's room in the inn. Renee made the experience very pleasant by answering the phone right away! There were no options to hear, no clubs to join, no payment in advance, no promise to charge if you don't make it that far no national reservations department, just a direct conversation with the person who actually was there when we arrived. She greeted us like old friends, was glad we made it okay, was a little worried since we had made stops and we were beyond the GPS prediction of 5 hours from the call. She made welcome bags for the pets and put us on the ground floor, with our own door, that opened to a large grassy space. It was wonderful to take the dogs out as frequently as they need to go. This was a wonderful stay for us, and breakfast was a very nice bonus. We highly recommend Best Western to all weary travelers. They'll take good care of you.

We like being able to sit outside at the end of a long drive and enjoy the view over the large back lawn and trees. The hotel is older, but they have kept it in reasonable shape with recent renovations. The hot breakfast is well done: a good variety of options and clean! We had a mix up with our reservation (our fault) and the assistant manager BRYAN handled it with professionalism and courtesy. Thanks to BRYAN, we will not hesitate to return to a Best Western, and certainly this one!

I was traveling for weeks and this hotel had the friendliest and most helpful staff that I encountered. I like staying in Best Westerns because they are usually very clean and have a heated indoor pool which is very relaxing. This hotel even had a restaurant on the premises and although I did not stay for breakfast they gave me a breakfast on the go to take with me. I will be returning here.

Staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean and well kept. I found the bed to be very comfortable. There is a small lounge and restaurant to take care of any other needs. The location of the motel made for a quiet night's sleep.

I was traveling with two other friends. We had made reservations to stay at Best Western Point South on the recommendation of one of my friends who had stayed there before. We were not disappointed. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Check in was easy and quick. We had the breakfast the next morning just before 7 a.m. I had the grits (a little runny), scrambled eggs, and ham. Tasty. Would definitely stay here again.

This place is awful. The staff is rude, insulting and mean. They absolutely do not care about their patrons. The room was hot and we could not sleep. They did not care. It was a terrible awful experience. We would never stay there again.

We liked being on the ground floor because getting suitcases to the second floor is troublesome. I usually do not like to be on the ground floor because I do not feel as safe. My sister and I both commented that we felt very safe. The person on the desk was very welcoming, and answered all questions. The room and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Overall, a good stop. The hotel ratings did not work. I have answered all questions except cleanliness, which was very good.

We had to evacuate our town during Florence. Our plan was to go to FL but after having an accident on 95 we had to get off at the next exit and were unable to continue our trip. We had 4 adults, 2 kids and 4 dogs including 2 Great Danes. They did not hesitate to find us rooms that would accommodate us and even gave us a veteran discount (with ID card). The staff was so amazing and went above and beyond to make sure our family was taken care of. They had an indoor pool that our kids loved and their free breakfast everyday was amazing and different every day we were there. They always had fresh coffee and always asked if we needed anything. I highly recommend stopping in there if you find yourself around the area! There were some historical sites we would have loved to see if the weather would have been better!

After a long Drive, from West Palm Beach, Renee at the front desk was the best!! She made everything so easy and made my experience one of the best! I would absolutely recommend anyone to stay at the Best Western at Point South!!

While this hotel was ok it was not has nice has other Best Westers we have stayed at along RT 95. The attached restaurant was NOT worth our time. Staff was not the best, very slow and didn't seem to know quite what they were doing. Waitress told us to seat our selves and then asked if anyone had taken our drink orders, before we even got menus or silverware. Husband ordered beer battered cod and received fried flounder.

Staff was very friendly and we even got a gift bag for our dog! (Yoda says thanks??) Restaurant on property. Good food and nice people. Room was nice. Air conditioner worked well(last place we stopped, not so much) Plenty of room for my wheelchair. Would stay here again. Thanks!!

Our room was very clean with nice amenities including a refrigerator. The staff member we encountered was pleasant. Good location off the interstate, and the room rate was great. A washer and dryer were located in a breezeway. We had a first floor room which we liked because we could park our car right outside the door.

This was our last hotel stop on our vacation making it the sixth place we stayed in our travels to Ohio, Smokie Mountains, and then back home to southern Florida. What a great check in experience with a "goody'' bag for my dog, Teddy, included. Water, treats, and more. Truly dog friendly place with friendly staff all around. The restaurant next door in the same building was an added plus for us. Room was clean and a huge courtyard for Teddy to enjoy. The pool was one of the largest I've seen at a hotel and if we had more time in our overnite stay, I would have used it. I'll put this in my book for a place to stop in the future for sure.

Great place to stop and rest from a long road trip. The staff we encountered were all very nice and helpful. The hotel was clean, bed was comfortable. A/c worked great kept the room nice and cool. The bar was a nice touch. We did not use the pool but it looked nice. Gas and food in the area no need to drive far in the am for gas and coffee.

We chose this motel because it was at about the half way point between Orlando and Gatlinburg. We were just stopping for the night so we didn't really care about amenities other than the free breakfast and a good night's sleep. This motel delivered on both of these. The room was quiet and very clean and the temperature was perfect. The breakfast was fine....they had waffles you could make yourself, fruit, scrambled eggs, sausage and gravy for biscuits. They also had hardboiled eggs, cold cereal and yogurt. I think it was good value for the price of the room and it was right off of I-95 which made it very convenient. One thinig I might mention is that they don't have an elevator so if you aren't able to climb stairs, you should ask for a room on the first floor.

Off the beaten track, not a major tourist destination. Quiet location, good place to relax and visit area attractions or nearby cities of Beaufort or Hilton Head Island. Welcoming reception, rooms accessible from courtyard or the parking area, a bit confusing where to park. Two level hotel (no lift), with covered pool (not functional at our stay). Great picnic area in the shade of the oak trees. Not much around, few fast food places and Denny's. Good breakfast. After long trip this is the place to stop.

Pretty nice :) I'm pretty picky on hotels/motels. This one was surprisingly nice and clean and the staff was very polite and helpful. Free breakfast in the morning and a restaurant next door. Restaurant food was good and large amounts but we did have to wait a bit but the staff was friendly and accommodating. It is a new restaurant and needs a little work but food was good just bring your patience and know that you are supporting a small business. Great stay at the best western and yes we would return !! Oh and the breakfast has hot and cold options and the lady helping was amazing and very friendly :) good halfway point from Florida to North Carolina . Also pool was chilly but big size and deep so the kids loved it. Also beds were comfy and free WiFi :)

This hotel is very good to dogs. My sweet pup got a goody bag with food, treats and water. They have nice lawn to take a pet for a walk. The breakfast is good. However, the area is small and gets crowded easy. The facility itself is medium at best. There were also bugs in the room. But the hospitality of the staff makes up for the short comings.

The room was spacious and very clean with two Queen-size beds. Although the television wasn't very big, it had a very good variety of channels and the WiFi was fast. The breakfast was excellent, with a very good choice of items, including scrambled eggs, ham, fried potatoes, grits and, of course, waffles. There were also fruit and yoghurts available. For anyone who finds themselves in the Yemassee area, I can fully recommend the Best Western at South Point.

I stayed at this pet friendly hotel based on the Trip Advisor reviews. I was not disappointed. This was one at f the cleanest hotel rooms I've stayed in so a huge shout out to the housekeeping staff. I was checked in by a very capable desk clerk (Kevin) who got me checked in to my room promptly. Because I was traveling with a dog, my assigned room was adjacent to a large field and away from the parking lot. It was great and other friendly dogs were outside on leashes with their owners, all friendly people. I had a great night sleep and heard no other people, pets or vehicles. The room was super clean and I saw ZERO evidence of other previous pets staying in the room. Not a single dog hair was visible on the floor. I was very impressed that the housekeeping staff could do such a great job considering how many guests travel with their pets. The motel is an older property with newly renovated rooms. I thought it was a good value.

Found this hotel doing research about where to stop on our trip and found this nice hotel in my search. Arrived late and the gentleman at the front was very friendly and made the check in process easy. The room was clean and overall it was a nice stay. I'd stay here again if passing through.

Nice Hotel, just not many restaurants near by, just three gas stations and a Waffle House. The room was in good shape, bathroom was clean and had clean towels. There is a pool seperate from the hotel, did not use on my visit.

From the outside this hotel doesn't look that well but the room was clean and pretty good. The breakfast was very satisfactory. The advertised restaurant wasn't open yet, and the nearby options were fastfood only, but the Chinese takeout in the neighborhoud proved to be quite good. Friendly and helpful staff at the hotel.

We planned an overnight stay, on our way to Florida, based on this location having an indoor heated pool. This is an older property with pleasant staff and clean rooms. Unfortunately, the pool was out of service and the only "restaurants" nearby are fast food.

We stopped here on our way to Orlando. The service was good, hotel was clean. We were able to get dinner as restaurants were in walking distances. The pool area looked great even though we didn't use it.

I arrived here at around 11pm and I was followed by a man who travels on bicycle in the surrounding area and he waited until I was alone and tried to get in my car and follow me into the hotel room. I felt extremely unsafe and had to call the police. I was promised a refund by the hotel becuase I could not stay there and I was in immediate danger so I never ended up staying the night. The hotel still has yet to give me the refund which is a total scam because I have the police report and a different hotel booked to prove it. The staff was very unfriendly over the phone. I would not recommend staying here because there are strangers lurking around and it is very dark outside the hotel. The rooms are open to the outside hallway so it is possible that this same person could follow you and wait for you when you open the doors to the outside. I would not trust to stay here with my family because of the danger and the horrible guest services.

This is an older updated motel. The rooms open from the outside which certainly is a plus when unloading your vehicle or if you had a pet, for taking them for walks. This place is ideal for truckers. There was great parking for them. We found the room to be clean and for the most part it was quiet. We only heard one truck starting their engine. The air conditioning was set on 70 degrees and it cooled the room. Most places we have stayed at you would have to set the temperature well below to get the room cool. The appearance of the landscaping could use a facelift. The indoor pool is in a separate building in the courtyard. If you were to bring a pet, you would have ample places for you to take your dog for a walk. The breakfast is a truckers' delight. More like a home cooked meal with grits. Missed having oatmeal available. The coffee was great.

We drove home from Florida to Canada and needed a room that excepted dogs. This Best Western was Dog Friendly and fine for our needs. Quick take out dinner next door and excellent hot breakfast included in lobby. It was apparent that animals had been there but that is exactly what we wanted. I would not recommend unless you have animals or do not care that they have been there.

We have been staying at this hotel for years as we traveled from Florida up and down the coast. We always enjoyed the opportunity to swim in a heated pool to relieve the aches from traveling for many hours. There used to be a Denny's attached, which was convenient for a quick dinner, but especially for a early morning (4 - 4:30 am) breakfast, before getting back on the road. This trip, the Denny's is closed down, the pool was closed and the cliental has changed. Trucks and / or generators running all night in the parking lot, loud talking / voices just outside our room - I believe when the hotel's bar closed down. All in in all a very disappointing stay.

Hotel is very obviously a former motel. Room felt like a motel room. Water temperature in the shower would not stay constant. Breakfast was bland and being worked by a small child. There were adults in the kitchen, but a kid was running around doing work with guests. Pool was closed. Noisy. Staff was ok, not particularly helpful.

A very nice stay, with very friendly people, fair price, comfortable and clean room, and onsite bar. No restaurant yet. Only issue is the bar, only 4-5 tables. Breakfast was quite satisfying, and the room was the right size for the 30 minutes we were there.

We have stayed here for years on our way to and from Florida from Ontario. We never think of staying anywhere else. I even book our favourite room! The staff are great. It is an easy off and on to I-95. Gas station next door.

My aunt and cousins stay on Kiawah Island every Easter. We come up from FL and we've stayed at this Best Western Easter weekend 2017 and 2018. The lobby is clean and the front desk staff immediately greet us and get our keys, all with a smile. The rooms were spotless and the bed super comfortable. We only paid $93 a night with our military discount. The hotel is on an exit without much else, but it's right next to I-95. The only issue I could find was the shower curtain only reached the edge of the tub so some water did hit the floor from the shower, but I liked the curved shower rod - lots of room.

Friendly front desk and nice lobby. Location had a bar which we didn't use. Waffle House is across the street I think there was a Chinese place somewhere in the area also. A campground is located behind the hotel but not a part of the hotel. You could hear the diesel noise in the early morning of the semis and motorhomes leaving.

This property is clean, inviting, and well maintained. Staff are efficient and friendly; procedures are easy. Room is quiet, clean, comfortable and extremely well-appointed. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful.

I would have to give this hotel a 5 star rating. It was very clean and my bed was very comfortable. We walked In our room and it smelled great. One of my favorite parts was we checked in with our little shitzu Stella and they gave us a little doggie bag for her. It included 2 bottles of water food and 2 snack treats and 2 poop bags. Loved it. The staff was really nice and they also have a great breakfast. Coffee is really good. We will stay here again when in town. I would also suggest this place to anyone.

We stopped here in early March and were treated well at the hotel. The room was comfortable as were the beds. However the only restaurants near to the hotel were a McDonalds and a Waffle House. Other restaurants for an evening meal were about 15 miles away according to hotel check-in. We would stay at the hotel again if it had nicer restaurants closer. Also, the breakfast serving area does not have enough seating for the number of guests when we were there.

I stayed here for the 1st time about 3-4 years ago. There was a Denny's, it's gone. There's now a bar and a soon to open restaurant. There's been some improvements to the rooms and facility. There trying to be more like a Holiday Inn or Hampton, which is fine... but I hope they keep the price reasonable. I thought the price for the room, even with a AAA discount, was a little on the high side.

All of the staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful, starting with the first desk person who selected the best room for what we wanted. The small bar was really fun and the bartender was excellent- so friendly and went out of her way to make me a perfect drink. No need to go anywhere else. The chicken wings were a great deal - very meaty with a sauce that was nothing special but tasty enough. The breakfast was excellent with real eggs, fruit including strawberries and blueberries (ok frozen but never would have expected to get berries at all except at a fancy hotel or inn), and plenty of other stuff. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. The setting is very nice with scenic walking by the nearby campgrounds. We just stayed here by chance as a stopover this year, but will try to make it a destination stopover in the future.

WATCH YOUR CREDIT CARD AT THIS PLACE! My credit card was charged twice and I just happened to catch it. When I called and asked them to straighten it out they turned it over to the manager. The manager emailed me and said it had been taken care of and that my credit card wouldn't be credited for another 24 or 48 hours. Four days later this promised credit failed to show up on my credit card so I telephoned to ask the manager to follow up. I was greeted with raised voices, yelling, and rudeness. And demands that I straighten it out with the credit card company myself! I am appalled not only to have bogus charges on my credit card, but to have been spoken to so rudely when I called simply to have the hotel that put the false charges on my credit card follow up on its promise to correct the charge. Rude, rude, rude. Protect your credit card. Avoid this place. Go across the street, or anywhere else.

After a long annoying day of driving from Va to Orlando, we finally gave up on the bumper to bumper traffic. We pulled off in Yamassee, a place We had never stopped before. I got on my phone and started looking for pet friendly motels. I saw that Best Western was Pet Friendly, and also was right across From where we were parked. It was hard to see the sign as there are lot of trees around it. We were able to secure the last pet friendly room. Thank goodness as we were beat. We were given a pet welcome bag along with our room key. Such a nice touch! Our room was very spacious and the beds were comfortable. It was nice having a fridge to keep Our cooler stuff cold during the night. Christine and Amanda were so pleasant and helpful. They certainty made us feel welcome. I would definitely stay their again and would recommend it for all folks traveling with their pets. The small pet fee for our two dogs was very reasonable. It is very hard to find a nice pet friendly hotel along I 95. This will be on list for future trips for sure. Pam O

On Jan 3 while traveling on I95 from Va to Fl we found ourselves in the middle of the blizzard that brought many accidents, standstills, and frayed nerves. We tried to get off I95 after many standstills and try Route 17 and then found it was closed. So around 10 p.m. we found only one place to eat and we happened to be the last folks they let in the door before they locked it. We had already called around to some hotels with them all no vacancy. I went into the lobby of this hotel to ask for a room and of course they were booked as well. I asked if we could park in their lot to get some sleep overnight and the kind gentlemen said of course and to pull up close to the front and that we were welcome to use their facilities and that they had fresh coffee and water. We had been on the road since 4:30 a.m. that morning. We just wanted to share how nice these folks are and to thank them. We were able to continue on early the next morning.

On our way home from WDW we needed to stop overnight. Many hotels either very pricey or booked. This one was sub $100 and got decent reviews. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Not a big fan of exterior entry hotel rooms, but for the one night this was fine, It was quiet. Room not as modern as many with open clothes hanging area and bath sink. But you could tell they were trying, all outlets had USB options so plenty of spots for charging phones and ipads. Breakfast was very good, with alot of care take in the preparation. Check out was easy. Definitely fine for a night en route.

On a cold dark night, 33 miles in from the southern border of South Carolina along Rt. 95, we found what is probably the best Best Western in the country. The staff was very kind even though they were all experiencing temps they probably have never experienced before. Our room was incredibly clean and probably one of the most spacious 2 bed hotel rooms I've ever seen. The price was more than reasonable and the breakfast was top notch with both a waffle maker and grits as well as other options. The staff was on top of any needs in the breakfast room which reinforced my feeling from checking in the night before (great staff). Knowing this Best Western is here will make our trips south much more reassuring in the future.

Right off I 95, not many choices as far as restaurants. Hotel is busy at night with truckers. Staff is friendly. Place is dog friendly but charges a pet fee. No garbage bins in back area of hotel. Large grass area to walk dogs

This was what I expected from Best western / good value. A clean room, a helpful staff and a good nights sleep. It would have been nice to have had hot water but due to an act of nature ( ice storm) that was out of the question.

Easy on & off I-95-room needs updating-room needs more cleaning esp bathroom. Bed comfortable-we stayed in the past as there was a Denny's 24 hr restaurant but it is no longer there. Few places to eat except fast food. Will stay at Walterboro where there would be more availability of restaurants & motels.

We stay at this hotel every year when we visit family in the area. The service was good and the rooms are clean. The beds are comfortable. I was very pleased with the breakfast provided every morning.

We stayed at this hotel because it was pet-friendly and got good reviews on Trip Advisor from previous travelers. It lived up to those reviews and then some. The rooms were immaculate, the staff were exceedingly welcome and organized, and we had a terrific night stay. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when traveling with our dog. It was a pleasure. Without hesitation I would say it was 100% better than most pet-friendly hotels we have used in the past. Thank you Best Western for taking pride in your hotel and putting all guests, 2 and 4 legged, first!

I stay at this location. It has parking for a commercial truck. 18 wheeler. It near my customer. I can eat at the restaurant on property or walk to the place next door. There's room to get and and out with a big truck and trailer. Also they take the C.L.C. Card.

This place is really great. Located at Exit 33, I-95, the hotel is very well appointed considering the price you pay. Folks there are very friendly, the rooms comfortable, and the wifi fast and stable. We brought our dog with us, as always, and she even got a gift box from the hotel while we were checking in. Best rates are using online reservations.

Service was excellent. The lobby and room were clean and comfortable. Nice pool area. The breakfast room is great. They offer a delicious variety of food (specially the waffles), coffee, juices, fruits and snacks.

This is a motel that is easy off easy on. In a very small town. The staff especially the front desk lady and the lady who kept the food going in the dining area. They were very helpful and made us feel as if we were at home

My two young sons and I spent the night here on our way home from Florida. The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable and I felt safe there (which is important when traveling on your own with young kids!) It was not a fancy hotel by any means, but an excellent value for the price! And the staff was friendly, as well.

Nice place to stay good rates easy access to the freeway. extremely nice cleaning lady on the first floor. Over my expectation hot breakfast and very friendly breakfast lady. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family we always stay here.

I would rate this hotel average, some of the lamps didn't work and the beds were very small, would have liked either a queen or king, fell like this was just a full size bed and need bigger, the shower head in the shower wasn't working that well and used to the wider shower heads, not relaxing after a long day of driving, but the staff was very helpful and friendly.

All of the staff that I interfaced with were helpful and caring people. I arrived at night and to be honest the local roads and the entrance at the hotel were quite dark. It does look like they will probably address that issue at a later date.

At check-in, the desk clerk was wearing a top covered with lint. There was no electrical outlet for the desk/table. There was no closet, so a hanging rod was bolted to the wall, right over the vanity! Went to the bar after dinner and asked about wine choices – it was obvious the bar maid did not want to wait on us, that she would rather have been somewhere else. There were “Denny's” signs all over, inside and out – but no Denny's. We did not even consider having breakfast there and went to a McDonalds.

Nice place. Nice people. We've stayed here many times and always enjoyed the experience. Our only complaint is the beds.... some of them are extremely hard! Definitely a great value and convenient location.

Work crews in parking lot noisy late evening when wanting peace and quiet with big trucks and excessive noise of night crews on road repair we think! This was not acceptable in a chain with this customer volume.

Room was very nice. Bed comfortable. Denny's is closed and therefore the signs should be removed. We were traveling in a moving truck and had no other transportation to get food. When asked at “lounge” if they served food, the bartender who was too busy talking to male customers and seem bothered by the question, listed off pizza & wings in a way that made them seem less than appealing. Also, booked 2 double and was given 1 king, which after a long day of traveling was a huge hassle.

Bryan, the manager, aims to please...and it shows in his workers who are polite and go out of their way to help on such a pleasant way! We were told that if we needed anything during the night to call front desk.

Good hotel if you need a place to stay while passing thru. Convenient off 95. Outside corridors and no elevators. Free parking. Denny's on-site was closed. Had free breakfast in hotel though which was decent. Room (A/C?) smelt musty but was clean. Hotel seemed older. Has a pool but did not use.

For the past two months I've been staying in Charleston South Carolina at this quality inn is nasty dirty dingy and I said it's time to go back home to the BW well I know it s has clean walk ways clean rooms and good service the hotel that I been comeing for last seven years,and that you thank Brian for getting me a blueberry muffins that I wanted for breakfast even though breakfast was over The breakfast lady say no breakfast is over in a very mean way so Brian help me out thanks B.go BW all the way

Being on the road for 3 days, we selected BW Yamassee SC because it had a Denny's family restaurant on site. Great because being tired we weren't in the mood to explore the neighborhood. Found our Denny's restaurant was closed for renovations and had to find an alternate for supper. Had to settle on Wendy's

The bed sheets, the pillow cases, the bath towels were all extremely musty-smelling! The towel rack in the bathroom was broken and a piece laying on the floor! If this were our first experience at a Best Western, we would never return! I will never return to this particular Best Western Hotel again!

Last minute trip to visit with sister. Place has the usually odor for a less than perfect Hotel. The beds squeaked like crazy. Embarrassed wondering what the neighbors thought. lol. It was ok clean. could have been better. No soap dish. I hate leaving the soap on the counter. need to think about that on next trip.

The stay was acceptable. Rooms were clean. When we checked in the first time (we stayed here twice), the girl did not tell us about the breakfast and did not tell us the login and password for internet access. If you want to be able to park on the same side of your room, request an even number room. The layout of the parking lot is a little weird and if you don't get an even number room, you will have to walk through an alcove around to the other side of the building where the odd number rooms are located.

Have minor complaints like mold in bathroom, TV had to be repaired, lighting inadequate, etc. Biggest problem is when walkways are wet they are as slick as ice. They are impossible to walk on. I fell and skinned up my knee and elbow and have a huge bruise on the side of my hip that is still black and blue five days later. Complained to front desk and was told a manager would be out shortly, manager never showed. They apparently painted the concrete in an attempt to solve the problem but they did not apply a nonskid product. Beware of wet walkways!!

Very comfortable and all amenities needed, Very convenient location. Easy check-in and out. I always stay here while in the area and would not change. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Price is very affordable. Everything is clean.

Our stay at Best Western was great! Nikki at the front desk was extremely helpful and helped us get a room at last moment's notice! The hotel was in pretty good shape and there is a Denny's located in the lobby area!

We stopped here while heading north for its convenient location. Everything about this place is average. Check in was easy but no one stood out. They didn't program the door cards correctly and we had to go back. The room was clean but old and needed a renovation. The furniture in the room was unorganized and stuffed in the room to fit. Towels also a bit extra worn but clean. Price is too high for location and age of hotel. Breakfast was very good. Stocked, organized, clean and a happy caretaker.

That sums it up. But trip advisor requires atleast 200 two hundred characters. The room was good. Denny's next door was good. The bloody mary's were okay. The staff were proffessional & friendly. The bed was a bit rough . for me atleast. Why can't I find a hotel that has good pillows ?

System was down at check-in so they had to photocopy my D/L and had me sign it as substitute for proper check in. Identity theft risk! Internet was down. Staff recorded room number to call when internet was back up. Never received a call. Denny's restaurant attached to lobby looked like it had been closed a while. Bed was extremely hard and pillows were too thick to allow a decent night's rest. During check-out, was told another guest had just checked out under my room number. Clerk had not checked name of guest to confirm their identity. Night was rough enough that we left before free breakfast just to get past it.

This hotel is very clean with a friendly and helpful front desk. Quite a few amenities. The rooms are large and easy to maneuver. Not a whole lot in the area, but otherwise quite pleased with the facility.

Stayed here with our newly adopted, physically handicapped dog, and were made so welcome. Desk clerk fussed over her, and got her to allow a little petting. Was also given a "Welcome" kit for the dog, with a pouch of food, a couple of Milk Bones, disposal bags and a couple of other items. Pet friendly rooms were in back building, with a large, grassy area to exercise your pet after walking them out back. Everyone, including housekeepers and maintenance man, was friendly and helpful. Rooms and beds were clean and comfortable. Will definitely make this hotel a regular stop on our trips from Florida to New Jersey.

Pros: The beds were very comfortable. The Shower was decent. Has continental breakfast. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Located right near the western end of US 17/Kings Highway. Cons: The orange juice at breakfast was served in a pitcher of ice and tasted horrible and the bread for toast seemed stale.

Traveling late at night down 95 south we could not find anything available. We found this place to have rooms on Kayak.com. We booked it. Nothing special, but it fit the bill this time. We had a quiet room on the back. Would have been nice to have a elevator and not stairs with all the luggage, but in this case...it just worked!!!

I usually stay at an upscale place but had my dog with me. I think that this hotel was OK but was almost as expensive as the upscale place I usually stay! This is the last time that I will travel with my pet. I DON'T LIKE DIRTY ROOMS!!!

Overall nice property with an indoor pool. There was a mini hotel bar and a Denny's attached. Our room was clean and had all the amenities i needed like a refrigerator. Front desk staff was very nice. We were just passing by from Hilton Head to Charleston so this was a nice stopping point.

This is my third time staying at this hotel. I always stay here on my way back from Florida . The desk clerks are always nice and this time was no exception. The rooms are nicely equipped, and the beds are comfortable. The desk clerk called my room to ensure I was happy with it. That was new. And nice. The clerks were equally pleasant on check out.

Would book a room here again. Only glitch was on Saturday room service did not visit our room. Had to call front office for clean towels. Towels were brought within 10 minutes. Great to have a 24/7 Denny's

Staff is courteous, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The hotel is conveniently located right off 95. Rooms are reasonably priced. A perfect place for a one night layover. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. The indoor pool was a bonus for the kids, since it was raining. Plus everyone loves a complimentary breakfast!

We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the room since it was a designated pet accommodation. Although, not the newest of hotels, everything was clean with comfortable beds, clean bathroom with refrigerator, micro wave, etc. Only our cat knew others had been in that room! Sophie still enjoyed her stay. We found the room to be animal friendly. We went to Beaufort for dinner making it a pleasant stop.

The non smoking room we booked smelled like smoke. They don't have elevators. The hotel is old and dirty. There wasn't anyone on the front desk, yoi have to wait for 5 minutes before someone comes out.

...and you will too! Yadda, Yadda, Yadda,. 200 letters to use up. Whats a person to do. Don't let the maids wake you up chatting at the top of their lungs at 8:AM. Wear ear muffs. Knife shop next door looks seedy... but has great knives and friendly people, so don't judge by appearance.

My family and I had a good stay overnight at bw point south. It's a clean friendly place to stop on way to Disney. Staff is professional and helpful. Definitely recommend. We will be back again. Thanks for the great service.

Though not a complaint about Best Western, the cell service at point south is poor. I have Verizon and travel frequently on business. I had to walk to the highway side of the hotel to get two bars of service. In room was intermittent one bar of standard service.

First of all, this hotel is in Yemassee, SC, NOT Ridgeland...the Best Western customer service line has no Ridgeland location listed. We Google mapped the hotel and it took us to a prison at exit 22. This hotel is exit 33. I'm sure if the hotel had an actual address, this would help. They have a new breakfast room and it is a standard deal. The employee working it was amazing! Very helpful and sweet. The room was clean, no complaints. I think it's a bit over-priced, but for a stop and stay 1 night, it's fine.

We had a great stay. Clean room, nice staff. We accidentally booked the wrong night, and right when we got there Nicole helped us. She went all out of her way to get us what we needed and we cannot thank her enough. She also called our room later to ask how we are and if we are okay. Great staff.

Very convenient location for travelers just off the I-95. Staff was friendly & helpful. Rooms were clean & beds were comfortable. Their breakfast room was not yet ready, so they gave a coupon for use either at Waffle House or McDonald's for breakfast which are both right next door. By the sounds of it, the breakfast room is going to be ready soon for guests staying in the future. Only downside was the Denny's in the lobby - not sure if their AC was having issues but it was HOT in there. The Denny's wait staff seemed disorganized and while the food was OK, the service was not great.

During a recent trip we stayed overnight at this property. The front desk staff could use better customer service training. The rooms were clean. The hotel offers a voucher for breakfast at the Waffle House located beside the hotel or at the McDonalds across the street. The light valence in our room over the bath sink was falling down on one side and the bath fixtures were a bit dated. One inconvenience is that if you have a room on the right side of the hotel, which we did, you have to walk around the hotel from the left side to get to it because all the parking is on the left of the buildings. Overall stay was ok, but would not return based on problems getting checked in and with check out.

This hotel was a nice surprise. The staff was amazing. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The Waffle House breakfast was great and the lounge/restaurant were very accommodating. The pool was clean and enjoyable.

I would never recommend staying at this hotel. The address listed for the property is not true. After speaking with the hotel staff 3 times, I finally was able to speak with someone whom explained the internet listed address was incorrect. The hotel was about 15 to 20 min from where I needed to be. So I canceled the reservation. This place had to the nerve to charge me a no show or cancelation fee. What a bunch of crock. Called the customer service line at Booking. com explained what happened, all I received was a bunch of Yida Yida, about how the hotel is working on fixing the address problem.

I have stayed at this Best Western a few times before and I enjoy it very much and I feel safe staying here alone. It is right off of 95 and there are many places to choose to eat. I will stay here again.

Easy on-easy off from Rt. 95. Convenient, clean and dog friendly. Comfortable beds. Standard Best Western Room layout. I appreciated that the A/C was on and the room was cool when we arrived later. They called to confirm since we were later than we had indicated. I appreciated that they didn't give our room away and that they were looking out for someone who needed a room if we weren't going to be there. Once checked in, the front desk called to see if everything was to our liking. Nice thought, but we were already trying to get to sleep.

Best Western needs to invest in this property. It needs to be updated all around. The property must have been lively at one time but it is 2017 not 1990! The Denny's was gross. I truly believe that the Board of Health would give them several citations. I couldn't even eat because I felt that if the area where people were eating was so gross, I didn't even want to imagine the condition of the kitchen!

Stopped here when traveling, for an overnight. Thought it was a bit pricey but was a safe area and rooms were very clean and well appointed. I would recommend staying here for an overnight but I'm not familiar enough with the area to know what an extended stay would offer.

Perfect place to stop on drive to Florida, clean and pet friendly. Staff was very friendly. Alot of space to walk dogs and there is a lounge if you want to get a bite to eat or a drink. Rooms are good size and to be honest for the price this is a great value if all you need is a place to sleep before heading out again next day

I enjoyed my stay. The hotel had a restaurant, lounge and indoor pool house everything was clean and quite I had a good nights rest. They are a per friendly hotel and I was put in one of the rooms used by pet owners and it was very clean . I would recommend this hotel on your journey and I will also return there on occasion

This Best Western is the standard motel configuration. Hotel was clean, room was comfortable, and staff was friendly. Our room had no convenient electrical outlet near the desk, so I had to move furniture around a bit to use my computer at the desk. We were awakened at 6 a.m. by a group of guests standing outside our room talking loudly. Yes, they moved quickly when I peered through the curtain. The disappointing thing for me was that the breakfast was a coupon to use at the local McDonald's or Waffle House. The reason I like Best Westerns is that I can creep out to breakfast in t-shirt and shorts and then return to my room to clean up for the day ahead. Having to leave the hotel for breakfast kind of defeats that. Good news is there is a Denny's on site, but your coupon won't work there.

Overall good experience for my one night stay. Will stay at this location again in the future if the Sea Island unit is not available. The staff was very pleasant and the room was decent for a two star locale.

Booked this hotel for a 2 night stay, staff was extremely nice and helpful, Nicky & Nichole were extremely professional and nice to speak with, room was clean, plenty of parking, every staff member we came across was great and answered any questions we had, do not serve breakfast there but is a Dennys right there, food was good, service was great, may be back down there on business later this month, if we are we will book this hotel again, as a great stay!

Love staying at this best western. Everyone always nice and polite. They have great parking for truckers like me and that means a lot . The rooms are also nice and clean. I will always stay at this hotel for business.

First of all: the booking shows for the Ridgefield, SC , but in fact it was for the Yemassee, SC Hotel, which had damp, old- smoke smelling air int he room and tons of little gnats and bugs . Didn't sleep a wink. Really needs a thorough cleen up and modernisation!!!

Would recommend staying at this hotel very friendly and helpful staff, very clean and you can get clean bedding and towels daily if you wanted to,also the rooms are modern , it's close to the beach and has a good choice of drinks, you don't pay extra for parasols etc and the cost of safe was reasonable would definately return

Good location. Stopped on back to Indianapolis! Nice half way stop over! The rooms were clean and parking lots is huge easy to trailer drive in and out. It is conveniently located within restaurant which was greatly appreciated after a long drive! Breakfast is served to get you on your way!

Hotel provided coupon for $$ off breakfast at Waffle House or MacDonalds, free coffee and Otis Spunkmeyer cookies, bottle water in room, called after check in to assure all was well with room. Overall a very nice experience. Clean room, great smiling service.

The evening desk clerk, GI, was most accommodating in correcting my room accommodation that had been altered from what she had entered on my visit of 3/31/17 ( 1st fl. Able to park car in front of room for easy access due to my mobility issues). It was a pleasure meeting the owner as I checked out and his news about the new lounge and breakfast room. Love easy on/off highway, proximity to gas and food and Carolina Cider Company store for gourmet treats.Chambermaids are so friendly.

I have used this location numerous times before. The staff is always friendly, courteous, and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Whether I call early or later in the day , they always have plenty of rooms. And most importantly they have plenty of parking for Carhaulers and commercial trucks.

We were on our way to Florida and stayed here for the night. They had a pleasant outdoor pool area. The room was clean and we were able to walk to the Ruby Tuesday restaurant for a quick dinner. The had a wonderful hot/cold breakfast in the morning.

Part of this was my fault because I thought it was a BW Plus, however for the price we paid ($100) I really expected a better stay! BTW doors are on the outside of this hotel. I thought it was hard to tell from the website and I was not pleased when I pulled up. Let me start with the few good things. You get a voucher for breakfast in the amount of $6 each but you can't use it in the attached restaurant. The 2 staff that I interacted with were very nice. We didn't go to the indoor pool, so I'm not sure of that area. Now... I'm a Diamond member and it was never acknowledged with anything extra including a "thanks". The first room they gave us, as soon as we opened the door it had a horrible smell! (skunky). Had to go to front desk (was treated well and taken care of immediately). The second room was ok. The bathroom was kind of grimy with nasty stuff all along the edges of the wall (like it hadn't been "thoroughly" cleaned in a long time. The shower and sink area were clean though. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room so we weren't too concerned about it. THEN CAME BEDTIME. It was a double bed room because our son was traveling with us and when my husband and I got in our bed it was 'broken down'; What I mean is the entire side I slept on was drooping toward the floor and EVERY time I moved it made a horrible sound like the springs were rubbing together. GOT ZERO SLEEP because every time I moved it made this horrible noise! Why didn't I let someone know? Because I had already changed rooms once and it was late. We just wanted this stay to be over! There's a Marriott property at the same exit. We'll be staying there next time

Nice clean room, had all that we needed for overnight stay--rescue from the road. The only unfortunately, aspect was tha Dennys restaurant that shared the hotel lobby. We couldn't get served. other patrons were waiting on line for twenty minutes to pay. service was terriblr,they cleared their own tgables, cold food,etc. This is not Best Western's fault, but it does reflect on the whole stay. Sorry for rambling on. It would behoove Best Western to try and get rid of that Denny's, or at least, have some sort of food service of their own. Front desk personnel werew very friendly, courteous and professional, on check in and check out, even when fairly busy.

Needed a place to stay near interstate and this fit the bill. Price was right it was clean and nice. Had indoor pool if you are into swimming. Breakfast vouchers at nearby McDonalds or Waffle House for breakfast.

From the minute I walked into the lobby, it was a friendly experience. Working at the front desk stuff made a great first impression. The room was very comfortable and we were extremely satisfied with the rate. Great staff, loved the bar in the lobby, indoor pool for sure heated and great. Overall, great visit will be coming back!

Very nice hotel for a very good price. It is easy to get off and back to Highway. I like the coupon for breakfast. We can choose from Waffle House or McDonald's. They also offer very rich grab and go bag. I could get what I wanted. Very friendly bartender .

We love this hotel. The location is great for our trips to and from Florida every year. We are able to book our favourite room. The rooms are clean and well appointed. This year, we did miss not having Dennys as the preferred breakfast. The goodie bags were OK.

Convenient stop with comfortable beds halfway between Radford/Blacksburg VA and Cocoa Beach FL, right off I-95. Wouldn't have chosen a Best Western but it was a Priceline Express Deal and nonrefundable. Told teenage sons to have low expectations going in, but all agreed it turned out to be a Pretty-Good Western. Beds were crisp-clean and felt luxurious. Coffee maker worked, as did hair dryer. Very nice surprise was the voucher that covered breakfast at Waffle House or McDonalds next door/across street. Bathroom and shower were surface clean but stained grout and caulk. Security cameras everywhere around the stairs and walkways, on view for the front desk staff, were reassuring considering the outdoor room entrance. Odd number rooms appear to all face an interior courtyard rather than the parking lot.

Clean and no mold smell like you usually see in a small city hotel right off I-95. They have a small little bar you can relax in the evening. For breakfast you have Dennys, Waffle House and McDonald's within walking distance. Very satisfied!

Recently we visited here and had an awesome experience. The rooms were very clean and the water temperature in the indoor pool was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Not only were we greeted with a smile upon arrival, we were treated very friendly and professional. There was a bar inside that really made this trip extra special after traveling for 10 hours. The bartender who introduced herself as Fran as we walked through the door was extremely nice. I could sit and talk with her for hours, and it seemed that way by the end of the night. She made a special punch, and boy does it really settle you in for an awesome stay at the Best Western. Overall, this was the best stay I had encountered along my trip on the East coast.

Me and my husband stayed here on our way to Beaufort for our grand son graduation. The young lady at the front desk I can't remember her name but she had goldish color hair gave offered us 2 breakfast voucher for an additional cost I as about the Denny's that was connected and she said yes we can use them there so I paid for them. After we carried our belongs to our room. We went to the bar and had 2 drinks. Afterwards I went and use the computer in the lobby while my husband watched the news. On our way back to our room we smelled marijuana as we turned the corner the young lady from the front desk and our bar tender was getting out of a car full of smoke giggling. But to make things worst the next morning we ate at Denny's and when we went to pay using our hotel voucher the server told us that Denny's don't honors them anymore and that they are only good for McDonald's or Waffle House. I spoke with the Manager of Denny's and he confirmed it. The hotel will be much better if you will stop hiring drug users.

The overall hotel was OK but a little outdated. The staff was polite and helpful but the rooms are in need of an update. The room was clean but old looking. The ice machine didn't work and the noise of other guest running around outside until after 12:30 in the morning was unwelcome. This was due in part because of a bar located inside the hotel that guests used. But if you stay go eat anywhere else but the Denny's attached. The restaurant was dirty with outdated interior and the staff needed taught how to work. We waited 25 minutes for our food that never showed up and there were two cooks in back. Overall not a very pleasant experience for a Best Western hotel.

We visited friends nearby on our way to Savannah. It was easy to find, very clean, friendly staff and large room. Our only complaint was that many truckers stay there so there's a lot of truck traffic in the parking lot. There was a lot of noise from the beeping of backup alarms to the noise from the air brakes. While we were there a refrigerator truck was parked and had to run all night. We kept the fan on the AC on high all night to block out the sounds. We did get a good night's sleep but I'm not sure that would have been the case without the fan running. I would suggest asking for a room that did not face the parking lot. Knowing that now I believe we would stay again if in the area but request an inside facing room.

The room was clean. Even though it is just off the interstate is was very quiet. Checkin was quick. The one draw back was that instead of breakfast at the hotel they gave a voucher for $6 off your breakfast at waffle house or MacDonalds. We went to Waffle house it was not worth the time or the extra money we had to pay. No elevators not good if you have foot problems. Requested bottom floor and was told they are for long term guests and I had to go to the top floor. There were many open rooms on the bottom floor so I was not a happy camper

Stopped here for a quick overnight on a road trip to Florida. Room had a slight smoky smell even though it was non-smoking. Otherwise the room was very basic - but clean and comfortable. Setup is motel style with doors facing outside. We would stay again. Free wifi!

This Best Western is either a relatively new or recently renovated facility. The rooms are spacious. We had a King sized bed, table with 2 chairs, two nightstands and an end table along with a combination 2 drawer dresser/fridge/microwave cosole with a TV on top. My husband thought the TV was small,though I didn't. We'd been traveling for 2 weeks and had many wall mounted large TV's in much smaller rooms, so I think that may have had something to do with my husband's perception that the TV was too small. But to be fair, I'm not much of a TV person, so I'm no fan of huge screen TV's. Amenities also include iron, ironing board, hairdryer, 4 sets of towels (for a reservation for 2 people), in room coffee maker, 2 bottles of water, soap and shampoo. Rooms open to the parking lot. We were on the first floor at the end of a long road trip so this was very convenient as we were able to park in front of our door. Later n the evening, the parking lot filled up, due to high occupancy and/or because of the attached 24 hour Denny's and small, bare bones lobby bar. The location was just off of exit 33 on I-95, very easy to get to. Despite the popular (on a Saturday night) Denny's and bar, it was quiet and restful. The king sized mattress was on the firm side and very comfortable. Of the 7 motels we were in on a 2 week trip, the mattress was tied for the best with the Hampton Inn in Rocky Mount, NC. We had minimal need for interaction with the front desk, but the desk clerk was pleasant and courteous. There is no free breakfast at the motel, but a $6 per person voucher for the Waffle House across the street, the Mc Donald's a short way up the street or a "grab and go" bag at the front desk which I was told included an apple or banana, energy bar and bottle of water was included in the price of the room. The beds were made with the usual set of sheets, a blanket and top sheet, which I prefer to the rarely washed bedspreads in many other motels. The only problem, which is a big one for me was the cleanliness of the bathroom and the sink/counter area which is in the main room. The grout had mildew and it was clear that the area behind the sink faucet was not cleaned frequently, as it had mildew also. The sink area could be remedied by a thorough cleaning followed by the use of soap dishes so water did not accumulate behind the faucet. The grout/shower walls just need to be cleaned regularly with an appropriate cleaner. When he bathrooms are not well cleaned, I can only make a conjecture about the rest of the room. The linens were clean, but the nightstands and table really needed to be wiped down well. I travel with Lysol wipes, so I used them liberally. If cleanliness isn't a major issue for you, but you want a very comfortable bed in a spacious room with plenty of outlets for electronics in a great location for travelling along I-95, good amenities and a break on the price of breakfast, then this is easily a 5/5 motel for you.

This was the perfect hotel for a stopover. The grounds were lovely, clean and quiet. Beds were comfy, fridge in room. Easy on/off 95. ATM on site, voucher for breakfast across the street. I will mark this for another stopover next time. Perfect.

Stayed 1 night. Room was clean and no bugs, but cobweb on valance by door and yellow cracking caulk around toilet. Plenty of towels, fridge worked. Easy, nice check-in, beds were comfortable, room was quiet and AC worked fine. Cable worked for about 20 minutes, then no TV. Staff tried to help and offered to send someone to fix. They have a computer and printer in office, but could not get signed on - even with staff help. She did let us know later on that she had it working, and apologized again when we checked out. Coupons for breakfast at Waffle House covered only about 2/3 of cost of eggs, bacon and coffee, but there were some menu items-like a biscuit egg sandwich-that it covered. A bit pricy at $101 (with tax)- probably will look for other spot on next trip.

Hotel was ok, but the staff was very nice. They saved us a lot of hassle when we could not reach our best western reserved plave in NC, due to delays. Very helpful and fast service in the lobby. Pool area was nice and separate from the hotel, which we liked. Breakfast vouchers, led us to a Waffle House, which turned out to be fine...food there was cheap and good. Would stay again

Good location for us while traveling on I-95. Friendly staff and good free breakfast at Waffle House next door. With a Dennys on site on sure why breakfast wasn't there but Waffle House was good. Room had a refrigerator and a microwave which was very nice. Parking was directly in front of room which was nice.

While I have stayed here many times I found this last experience unfriendly. I have been stopping at this location several times because it was pet friendly and reasonably priced. The lounge was closed for awhile but that was never a concern. Upon this visit the lounge was open and I ordered a drink to go and the bartender was nasty. Big attitude and treated me like she was doing me a favor. Terrible service skills. So many folks would love a job. Why her? I'll be back and hope she is gone doesn't deserve a service job.

With my son and daughter-in-law and traveling with a one year old we decided to stay in Yemassee, SC rather than going further to Savannah from NC to FL as we usually do. So perfect! When the clerk mentioned a dog and asked me how many I was afraid she was going to charge me extra! But instead she went into back room and came out with two large boxes. Each with two water bottles, poopy bags, baggie of dog food and two large milkbones!!! I've never seen this done!!!! My son and daughter-in-law had room next door and asked if we heard the baby crying during the night. We didn't hear a thing! And I'm a light sleeper. Room was very clean and we had a choice of using vouchers for McDonalds or Waffle House. Additionally we brought our boat and there was a perfect parking area for it. We will start making this our stopping point each year!!!

While the room was mostly clean, I did mention they needed to take care of the cobwebs that were there for some time. The bed quality was below standard comfort....like sleeping on a quilt of springs. Pet friendly was nice and nice bar. Okay Denny's Restaurant, little funky that breakfast offered was at another off-site facility. Makes you wonder.

I can usually count on Best Western for a good stop on long drives and this was no exception. The staff was nice, hotel clean and quiet. This is located well off of I-95 in a quieter location than the usual exits to Charleston or Savannah which are very busy. It's not a major area, not really in Ridgeland or Yemassee, but somewhere in between. We took the time to go see the Beaufort museum/shop within a mile behind it and also found a great country cider store within a mile down a country road. It's not a plush hotel by any means, but it really served its purpose quite well. We'll stop there again. Oh, we didn't have our dogs this time, but it's Pet Friendly with nice areas to walk the dogs.

Good facelift from last summer. Friendly staff, I really mean it, everyone right from top down, even tho we arrived late night and tired after a very long drive and the motel was busy- (Sun night). Very understanding staff, Put us at ease immed, offered bottled water. AM, staff same when checking out. Internet Needs well met. Not one but Multiple Breakfast options, too good to be true, could not be better. I saved the best for last.

We stayed at this hotel on our way back to jersey from Florida. Our room was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. This place is very well kept. I noticed that they have security cameras outside in the hallways, which I liked very much. Though we got vouchers for breakfast we did not use them. They also have a pool which looked very nice (we did not use it) overall it was a very pleasant experience and we will definitely stay at this hotel when we travel to and from Florida!!

We have stayed here a few times whenever we drive North and South. Always a pleasant stay; comfortable bed; professional staff and clean. Never been a fan of Denny's (20% discount at adjoining property) but must admit they claim the salmon is Alaska wild (tasty) and the breakfast made to order option is fresh and a great added benefit. Top value for the money. Never a complaint.

Pleasantly surprised with this Best Western. King bed was comfortable, room was clean and front desk staff was efficient. Free Wi-Fi worked well and the "free Denny's breakfast" was a voucher worth $6 I believe... we were able to order anything from menu and received $12 off our order. Worked well for us! Nice indoor pool in separate building but we did not use it.

Stopped the car when I was tired. Several choices but car led me here. Really clean. Very nice people. A little more expensive but I feel absolutely safe. Great wifi, terrific tv service. Queen size bed with sofa bed. Perfect. Did I mention it is really clean?!

Hotel was nice but getting a voucher at the attached Denny's was not good at all. We sat for a half hour and never got our breakfast. We ended up walking out very disgusted. At least 3 other tables got served before us and they came in after us.

Just a basic pet friendly motel. Clean, comfortable and conveniently located. Harold's Country Club is a short ride away and highly recommended for a bit of local color and pretty good food. The alternative, Denny's, is next door but its Denny's.

All staff were very helpful. When I checked in a maintenance man carried my oxygen concentrator and luggage from my car to my room and told me if I needed anything, he was on duty until 11:00 p.m. In the morning, another person carried my stuff from my room back to my car.

An outstanding helpful and smiling staff greeted us at the reception of this clean and well maintained Best Western. The room smelled fresh and was surprisingly huge. The area was quiet and we felt secure to stay there. The motel offers an inside heated pool at the center of the four buildings that house the rooms. Since Denny's Restaurant is attached to this motel, Best Western offers free breakfast and other discount coupons for eating there. A nice touch. All in all, it was a great stay and we will return.

This is the first time I have ever been so misled by reviews on Tripadvisor. When traveling, I always read the reviews for a place I am considering and make my reservation based on those reviews. Until now I have found Tripadvisor to be the most reliable site - not anymore. In case you do not feel like reading a long review, I'll make it simple... do NOT stay at this Best Western. It is honestly a disgrace to the Best Western name. I was on a road trip, traveling north from Florida and needed an affordable place to stay for the night. I checked Tripadvisor when I stopped for lunch and found this Best Western supposedly in Ridgeland S.C. I booked the room online and programmed it into my GPS. Just so you know, if you use your GPS to find this place you will get lost. The GPS will take you to a place called "Ridgeland" exit 22 off I-95 but this is actually off exit 33 apparently called Point South. Upon check-in the staff was not the least bit friendly. I was given a room on the back side of the hotel which is actually an old style motel with all of the rooms entered from the exterior. The back of the hotel is dark and scary and men were hanging out of their doors drinking beers as I drove around looking for my room. It's that kind of place. The rooms are old and small, the A/C unit would crank on extremely loud, the bathroom was dirty, my TV did not work and once I finally fell into a paranoid sleep the alarm clock in my room went off at midnight. This would all be fine if I had decided to stay at a Motel 6 for $50 a night but this room cost me $110! The only redeeming qualities were good beds and a free breakfast at the attached Denny's.

Wonderful hotel found in traveling from Florida North on I-95. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and helpful, parking was plentiful. Denny's attached provided 24 hour dining and the free hotel breakfast was at Denny's so there was no limit in timing.

Had a king size bed with pillows that are like decorative sofa pillows. Other than that, was great stay, staff was excellent. the restaurant was a bit busy when we arrived for breakfast and the server was by herself, but did a great job getting things going for us. Overall a great stay, just wish I bought a swimsuit for my stay. Looks like a great pool

From the time you check in to the time you check out,the staff is there for you. Whatever you need they are helpful and pleasant. There is plenty of parking for semis. The beds are comfortable and the room is a good size. I would stay here again on my next trip.

After driving some 700 km we needed a good night sleep to continue our journey to Florida next day. We found the BW relaxing and comfortable. As in any of the BW hotels I used the free Wi-Fi. The breakfast was good. I recommend the hotel to my friends. GP

Stopped here with my husband & sons a few weeks ago for the night. The staff was very accommodating for us even with some issues we had checking in (not on their end, on ours.) We received a voucher for free breakfast from the Denny's attached + our key card got us a % off for supper that night. There is truck parking which was great for my husband (he was stopping here on the way home when he ran out of drive time for the day.) The beds were comfy and the hotel was quieter than expected. It was also very clean in our room. And free wifi, which is always a plus. We'd definitely stay here again.

Stayed overnight here on the way back to Connecticut from Florida. We were looking for a decent place not too pricey and this fit the bill. I booked directly online and reserved a non-smoking room. When we checked in and got to our room, the place reeked of cigarette smoke and there was an ashtray on the table. So we went back. Apparently, from the conversation between the two desk workers, the system labels the rooms incorrectly and you have to know which rooms are wrong when you're checking people in. Why not fix that? They were very good and helpful about changing us, but it was still an inconvenience. The doors of the room open to the outside - which I don't usually like, but the room we eventually settled in opened onto the courtyard and not the parking lot and the pool was in the courtyard. The pool is in a separate building, so an indoor pool, though we didn't use it. There is a Denny's attached to the lobby of the hotel, so you don't have to go far for food. We received vouchers for breakfast there the next morning, but didn't cash them in. (We ate at the Denny's the night before and the food was over-greasy, so we still felt a little nauseous the next morning). I didn't see many other dining options around. The room was clean and comfortable and good for a nights' stay. We didn't hear much noise. Before dark there were a group of kids running around in the courtyard, but by nightfall all was pretty quiet.

Travelling to Florida this hotel is well located close the I-95 which is good when traveing with restaurant close to the hotel. Staff is helpfull and welcoming. Would recommend and would stay again.Room size are good.

Hotel was clean, but there was old water damage to walls, doors, and and AC and fridge were pretty noisy. Dog friendly, which is harder to find on I-95 closer to Savannah. Did the job for an overnight with a dog, decent price compared to Savannah.

Over the past two years this motel has been declining. The first time we stayed here the staff were friendly and accommodating and the rooms were clean. On subsequent visits, I noticed a change in the staff demeanor and in the overall upkeep of the rooms. Our last stay was in April, 2016. We had reserved two rooms. Both smelled of chemicals when we entered and the bed in one of the rooms was broken. The only other rooms they could offer us were smoking rooms. Who still allows smoking rooms? For what we had to pay and the hassles we encountered, the rooms were not worth it. I will skip this exit on my next trip North (or South).

Returning from Tampa's Frozen Four, I got really tired and we pulled in here. Nice TV and comfy beds with a lot of pillows. Adjacent restaurants made for a fast take off in the morning with a Denny's and Waffle House a easy walk from our door. Very quiet (perhaps due to the fact that all the other rooms were full of very tired CSX repair crews)

Hotel staff were lazy and inattentive, the exterior of hotel was unkempt, the room was in need of renovation, no water pressure, AC unit noisy, minimal furniture (no Chair or sofa) there free breakfast was a coupon for the Denny's but you had to dine in only.

The room was clean but nothing to rave about decorating wise, we stayed on the second floor in the 2nd building, there is no elevator, make sure you bring your room card to the ice machine on the main level as it is outdoors and restricted to patrons. Like most places breakfast is included - but not in the motel - there is a "Denny's" attached to the front lobby and they give you a coupon for a choice of 3 different breakfasts. We were pleased to have a place to stay after being tied up in the snowbird traffic from southern Florida the whole day - this place is adequate but not fancy.

The room is clean and nice. They offer free wifi which is so important to me, free bottle water, free breakfast at Denny's (which is much better than the other hotels who make simple breakfast) , they also offer us 20%off at Denny for dinner so we don't need to drive out to find restaurant.It's a nice and friendly place to stay for a traveller and they also have heated swimming pool which makes my son really happy.

We stopped here after driving on congested I-95 for 9 hours. Both of us were exhausted. The motel must be being remodeled as a large dumpster filled with what looked like construction material was sitting in the parking lot in front of our room. I also detected a faint odor of fresh paint. Three employees were sitting at the front desk when we arrived but no one gave us a greeting. Finally, we were assigned a room after I ask for one. There are no interior halls here but I felt secure in the room. It was spotless! While the furniture showed some signs of wear it was clear that the bath had been renewed. My only serious complaint was that the maids had placed 2 strong room deoderants in the room. Most motels have a spray or room deoderant in their rooms. It is very annoying to customers who have respiratory issues. Please....do away with these heavy fragrances.

Talked with Serge the owner and he is proud of his constant maintenance program. Nice drapes, bath very clean, countertops, rugs and furniture are decent. New flat screen. Easy access to Wi-Fi, large frig with no noise. Rooms face the parking so we keep our car keeps at the bedside, if we hear a noise we can hit the emergency button for the car which is right outside our door. Window AC but very quiet with easy controls. Two bottles of water as a gift, nice touch. There is a Denny's connected to this motel and you get a free, very good, breakfast and 20% off other meals. Nothing close but a few miles down the road there is a Dollar Store with decent prices. Staff was indifferent or new but the manager was great.

A pleasant surprise. It's an Old-school mo-tel off the interstate. It was clean and quiet. The room had a "clean" remote, 2 fresh bottles of water and an extra pillow. BONUS: We all got a voucher for free breakfast at the Denny's connected to the lobby!! ANOTHER BONUS: The receptionist offered us a discount upon check-in for military or government. SHE offered, I didn't have to ask!! ????

I have never stayed in a motel where I felt so unsafe as this Best Western. The women at the front desk had the personality of a ashtray. Our room was in the back of the motel where it was very dark and there were sketchy people hanging out in the parking lot. I actually slept with my gun beside my bed. The food service at the attached Denny's was terrible. I asked the waitress how her night was going and she responded with "I hate my boss"! Overall the worst experience I have ever had at a motel!

It has bee a while since I have stayed in an exterior hall motel. This is an older one that has been renovated. The interior decor was very well done. The bathroom was small and older, but was adequate. The internet was slow and cell phone service was only by the window. Breakfast is by coupon at the attached Denny's. They were busy and it was slow. Maids were the friendliest of the staff. Price was high but it was St Pat weekend and busy.

On our way down to Florida stayed overnight we were very well received by the owner/manager who happened to be present at front desk room was clean and the night was peaceful and quiet.I would highly recommend this establishment and yes if you arrive early you can take a swim in their heated pool prior to supper.

A great B/W motel in SW South Carolina is Point South in Yamassee. The motel staff are positive and keep the grounds/rooms clean. This is a very comfortable motel as traveling through SC. Yamassee is not Hilton Head nor Savannah nor Charleston (big tourist stops) but a nice/quiet spot. The attached Denny's is a place for a good breakfast.

Previous ownership owned a rather rundown motel in the middle of nowhere..... New ownership owns the same tired complex with higher prices, a closed bar, and the world's worst Denny's (oxymoron?!?) under the same roof.... Do yourself a favor and travel 20 miles north or 30 miles south and spend the same money for a better experience.....

We were driving to NYC from Florida and it was a convenient place to stop for the night that was pet friendly. Right off I95, breakfast is at a Denny's in the lobby for which the hotel gives you a credit for a full breakfast. Indoor pool - good feature as the weather was too cold for any outdoor swimming.

Just found out the bed was broken but didn't say anything to the staff because my wife and I were really tired. Should of said something though because it made the bed uncomfortable and annoying. And we thought the price of the room was way overpriced. It was way cheaper at a Quality Inn and we had a bigger bed there. It was really nice.

This is a regular stop for us because of it's easy access off I-95 and especially due to the warm pool. The price has increased some and the rooms are dated but comfortable and clean. The hotel is attached to a Denny's and that's great for some good comfort food.

An accident on I95 with a 90 minute delay brought us to this Best Western. We were extremely happy with the accommodations. The staff was super friendly and the cost of the room was very reasonable (10% off evening meal and free breakfast the next morning at Denny's). We definitely would staff at this Best Western again!!

The hotel has exterior doors and our room was on the side facing the indoor pool building and was very quiet! Very nice peaceful property. Room was updated, very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The Denny's free breakfast was nice change to typical hotel breakfast items. It was also very convenient for dinner options. I stayed a week and got better rest then any other hotel I have stayed at for past 7 weeks in the region. Between the comfort, sleep quality, and cleanliness... This hotel gets 5 stars. One suggestion to hotel would be to create a seating area in court yard space between hotel and pool so people can sit out outside since it actually has peaceful surroundings unlike most other hotels.

A good clean motel with a Denny's restaurant attached. Free breakfast and a 20% discount on dinners. If you are note in a hurry you can eat breakfast as late as you want NO 9:30 AND EVERYTHING DISAPPEARS. The restaurant staff treat you like paying customers even though the meal is free. I tipped them as if I were paying at the full value of the meal as should you.

Stayed here overnight, we had no reservations. The hotel staff was accommodating and friendly. The room was newly renovated and very clean as was the rest of the property that I saw. We did not use the pool. The free breakfast at the attached Denny's was an added bonus. Choice of eggs or pancakes. The hotel is very close to 95 making it a good choice for an overnight stay as you continue your journey

The room was comfortable and clean. However, the location of the hotel is pretty desolate. The only place to ear is the attached Denny's....and that was not to great. The hotel staff was helpful. The only thing that would make this a better place to stay is location. In there advertisements and on line they should let you know about lack of good dining.

Hotel staff friendly and accommodating to personal needs. Over all the hotel was clean, but could use updating, especially the bathroom. Breakfast was a voucher to an adjoining Denny's which could be used any time, no having to be up by 9AM for the free breakfast. Big plus

I'll start with the positives: Nice and close to I95. The room was clean and the bed was great. We did not use the wifi or the indoor pool, even though it looked nice. The motel lobby is attached to a Denny's restaurant which has a reasonable set of gluten-free items on the menu. Best Western guests are given a 20% off coupon, that we used for dinner, and a free breakfast at Denny's. The free breakfast has 3 options that are roughly equivalent to the (Build your own Grand Slam, $7.29) on the regular menu. The options are 1. continental breakfast with yogurt, cereal and fruit; 2. pancakes and bacon or sausage; 3. 2 eggs, hash browns and bacon or sausage. All 3 options include coffee and juice. The evening meal and breakfast were both very good. The gluten-free English muffin was probably the best gluten-free bread we have eaten. All of the staff at the Best Western and Denny's were all very helpful. Hollie was especially helpful when we arrived in the evening. Apparently the motel has a new owner and as of mid-February 2016, the new owner had applied for an ABC license but had not received it yet, so the bar was not open and they did not have the free drinks earlier reviewers had mentioned. They did have free USA Today, cookies and coffee in the lobby in addition to the Denny's coupons. The downside that kept this from being a 5 for me, was the light switches in room 107, a handicapped assessable room. The light switch at the door did not turn on any light in the room. I walked in without a light and ran into the leg of the coffee table. Also the lights for the bathroom were on outside of the bathroom and behind the door when it was opened. If you enter the bathroom without turning the lights on prior to entering, then you have to exit the bathroom and close the door to get access to the switch. If you only turn on one switch, then you have to open the door to see if you turned on the correct switch and if you didn't then you have to close the door again to get to the switch. From looking into windows of a couple vacant rooms, I know that the regular rooms have a different configuration and they may not have the same problem. The other negative is that I did not find the water to be the best tasting, but they do provide two free bottles of water. We periodically come to a meeting in Savannah and like to stay outside of the the city at a more reasonably priced motel the night before. The Best Western Point South has moved to the top of our list for our next visit.

Room was very clean! Hotel desk clerks were excellent: communicated well and explained well! Small cocktail lounge was cozy. Denny's Restaurant clean with a great staff of wait personnel. We were given voucher to buy a beverage and get one free. We were also given a voucher for 20% off our supper. We were able to park very close to our room as we had our 7 pound mini poodle with us which was convenient.

The staff was great I will be staying at best western from now on the breakfast was so good the beds were very comfortable the hotel was so clean and the laundry room was clean I also like how friendly the staff was

Easily accessible. Good for pet owners. A bit tired and run down but suits the purpose of a place to put your head down. Clean. No restaurants around except Dennys so either bring your own packed food or prepare to eat fast food.

The hotel was very clean and the staff friendly. It was nice to have a Denny's attached. We dinner there and free breakfast the next day. You also get a free drink ticket for the bar! We would go there again!

We had a great stay here. The bed was super comfy. The room was clean and bright. There are five lights in the living area alone then lights in vanity and bathroom . The front desk staff were very accommodating. Erikka the manager helped us when we had a problem concerning check in and was able to solve it right away. There are two computers in the front lobby with printing available. The Denny's restaurant is attached to the hotel and you get 20% off meals with your room key. You are given vouchers for Breakfast at Denny's with three options for meals and each of them include juice and coffee. The staff at Denny's were so friendly they all looked like they really enjoyed working there. We would definitely stay here again. It does seem to be a stop over for transport truckers so you might hear some of the noise but I found it very minimal. There is a Waffle House and MacDonalds near by. Thanks to all the staff that we encountered and a big thank you to Erikka. Bonus is that this place is right off the hwy 95 exit #33.

Please refer to remarks as stated in the previous listing on our feelings about the good & bad of our stay. Good motel, bad restaurant. Only motel in the area, so didn't have anything to select from. It was a "port in the storm" for weary travelers.

This was a good stop for travelers with easy access to I95. The hotel had a lovely large indoor pool, 24 hour restaurant, small lounge & accepts pets. The rooms are modern & newly renovated. The owners are on site & ready to help in any way. We will be back & highly recommend.

We were very pleased with the hotel and the front desk. The breakfast was Dennys and while limited as to what you can get, it certainly was great for us. We also ate dinner the night before at Dennys (20% off for staying at the hotel) and the service was extremely slow but the food was ok.. My only issue was that the indoor pool is in a separate building so you had to go out in a wet bathing suit to go back to room. Overall we were very happy with the hotel.

The room was clean but the heater was either really hot or if you shut it off you were cold. Called the front desk and clerk came to see what she could do but no different so she brought us some blankets, temp 32 it is an old hotel so the seal around the door let in the cold air in. Better luck next time.

Stopped for the night on our trek down I95 from NC to FL. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Exterior doors, but not facing a road so quiet. Felt safe. Attached to a Denny's and received free breakfast vouchers on check in. Staff was very friendly. Will stay here again!

Was great for us going south just off 95 (mother & daughter). We had nice quiet room, clean, parked outside our door and best of all we just had to go to front desk and there was entrance to Denny's. Dinner was very good, service was great and discount as well given. Price for the property was excellent and we did get senior discount but could have got CAA rate also was the breakfast at Denny's fully covered by our stay and no restrictions from the menu. Only thing we did ourselves is leave a tip for the great service. This was better than the Best Western in Bridgeport the night before!

This place was made great by the little extras. Our dog was more than welcome: he was given a bag with biscuits and a bag of food. We were given free breakfast at the attached Denny's and 2 for 1 drinks at their bar and grill. The room price was very reasonable, especially considering the perks. Room was clean, had a microwave and larger refridge. We would stay again in a heartbeat. A refreshing difference to the usual!

Ok, just remember you are in the bible belt so being greeted by a large bible in the lobby goes with the territory. This is a perfect place for those that need to stop as the traverse Interstate 95. There is easy access to gas, food, and the highway. The hotel is secured at night and it is much better than you'd expect for a quick stay. Plus, the staff is very nice to EVERYONE!

Best Westerns u have stayed in have been nice. We got there and checked in it was an out door access room. My expectations lowered. We walked in the room and hit with a strong smoke smell. (Yes we are non smokers ) there was even ash on the bed covers. I said ok just open the door and I will call and see if they have air freshener. When I called up the girl was short with me and didn't even ask why I needed the air freshener. The pool was nasty it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. The carpet was dirty, and the water smelled weird. All of that I was over looking and we went about our business. Took showers and went to bed. I got up at 4:00am to go to the bathroom and saw something crawling on the door and on my bra that I had on the knob. It was termites!! They were all over the door, the door frame, the sink , the counter, the base board by the bathroom and by the front door! I had our bag on the sink counter and they were crawling all over and in it! So I got my husband and kids up and checked out. We did get our money back so that was nice. I will not be convened tho that no one knew about the issue. When I looked at the base board up close I could see them so a maid would have had too .

This motel has easy access to the Interstate. I was happy to find a clean room, safe door locks, a well lit parking lot, and good food/drink available on site if needed. I got much needed rest on a stressful trip. I appreciated the express checkout since I was continuing on with my trip very early in the morning.

After 12 hours on the road wanted clean quiet place to stay .It was easy to find just off 95 South. Friendly staff with easy check in. Room was not newly renovated but clean with a comfortable bed. Had trouble with TV . The problem got fixed. We have been lucky with Best Western properties in the past. With senior discount price was fair and included breakfast at Denny ,s which was attached to property. Check out easy after breakfast . We were on the road again quickly.

This was the perfect stop over for the holiday trip south. Check in was a breeze (both times). The room was clean and everything I used, from the hair dryer to the television worked just fine. The bathroom could use a little updating (tub & toilet) but most importantly it was CLEAN! I used the discount as well as the free drink coupon. I was overall pleased with this experience.

No discounts given yet government employee. given breakfast vouchers for Denny's who did not properly staff for the volume of people at hotel. Frayed carpet. Bottled water, small tv, remote didn't work.

After stupidly making the mistake of traveling the Sunday after Christmas, we pulled over at BW Points South. They greeted us promptly and gave us a helpful ,quick check in. The room was large and nicely appointed for an older facility. It has a lounge and Dennys attached to it, and as a guest you get a discount at each place. The surrounding area was nice and it is close to I 95 so you can get back on the road. Overall a great experience.

The hotel staff are amazing - this is definitely why I would return here. The food and staff at Denny's (free breakfast!) were wonderful. Our room was very musty - a carpet replacement would do the trick. The kids loved the pool. Nice grounds. Cleaning and maintenance staff were lovely.

Our stay was very pleasant. The weather was nice for Marine Corps graduation ceremonies. The Best Western location was very close to shops and restaurants. The rooms were clean, affordable and reasonably priced. The entire staff were polite and answered all our questions. I recommend this Best Western.

We had such a positive experience at Point South BW. The room was clean and updated. The bar tender, Terry, was so pleasant with local anecdotes to make our visit fun. The receptionists are so accommodating going out of their way to welcome us. Although we are not Denny's frequenters, our waitress was most friendly. And they even had a very tasty veggie burger (not on the menu) with broccoli side. Absolutely will stay here again on our journey to the grandchildren in NC.

The night staff was extremely polite and accommodating. They actually had an issue with the faucet in our reserved room, so moved us to two queens instead of our king bed reservation. The morning staff - Erika was obviously not a morning person. The cleaning staff arrived early, and weren't overly concerned with any customers who wanted to sleep in. We had gotten in around midnight, and although I can accept the noise of traffic, I would not expect the hotel staff to be causing that much noise so early in the morning. Breakfast at Denny's was appreciated, and their staff was a nice taste of southern hospitality.

Checked in early and ate dinner at the attached denny's. Had breafast there as well. Good food. Also used the hotel pool and found it to be clean and easy to access. Hotel was easy to find right off the freeway. Rate was good and fit my business budget. Always try to stay at BW whenever possible. My room was very clean and comfortable mattress. Television worked well. Internet connection was easy. All in all, a great one night stay!

Nice little bar! When we checked in they gave us a buy one get one drink coupon!! Free breakfast was at Denny's and very good!! Denny's is actually attached to the Best Western!! Like that feature very much!!!

Roaches in our room (I took pictures of one on a pillow after we slept there), clogged drain, staff at the very most was indifferent when I complained. Free breakfast was included, but after seeing the roaches and how the staff didn't really care, we just couldn't bring ourselves to eat there. This is not a hotel, it is a motel, and a dirty one at that.

Happy service people, fun bar, nice breakfast, clean and quiet. On a busy post Thanksgiving travel date with bumper to bumperd a comfortable bed. traffic, this hotel/motel is strategically placed. It can be reached by diverting to RTE 17 toward Paris Island if going north or 17 to Yemassee, SC if going south. Rooms were meticulous with wifi, tv cable, and a comfortable bed. Large ice bin outside the rooms on first floor and coffee in the foyer. Free breakfast in there am at Dennys that is part of the facility and 10% off for lunch and dinner to registered guests. Buy one get one free first drink at the bar alone with a pleasant bar girl, fresh pop corn and good selection of drinks. Be mindful that on Sundays in South Carolina only wine and beer can be saved. Parking is spacious and allows each patron to park outside their room. When leaving quick check out and easy access to RTE 17 and 95 are 2 minutes away. Will plan to make this a regular stop when we go north and south on 95.

The staff at the hotel was very polite and helpful.. the value was good, and it is always to have a breakfast included when you are traveling.. I would stay at this location again, if my travels had me in this area. Offering discounted dinner and free breakfast at the Denny's attached to the hotel was an added bonus. Very pleasant stay.

Advertised as FREE breakfast at Denny's. Waited over 20 minutes in line before I spoke with Hotel staff. Hotel staff could have cared less. Had Denny's manager speak with me. Finally seated the ten other hotel guests that were also waiting over 20 minutes. Then proceeded to ignore me. Finally brought me coffee but no silverware. Waited another 20 minutes to get food. Kept asking who my wait staff person was, never got an answer. Just ignored me!!!

Comparing cost , this was a pleasant stay.. The staff at the hotel was very polite and helpful.. the value was good, and it is always to have a breakfast included when you are traveling.. I would stay at this location again, if the need is there.

Nothing exceptional. A decent price, for a basic hotel. Good service at check in. I thought our room smelled a little funny, but the husband thought it was just the high humidity. Rate included a good breakfast in the morning at the attached Denny's as well as a buy one get one free coupon for the lounge. Our room was quiet. Two double beds were just okay I'd say. The address was a little misleading, as it's listed in being in Ridgeland, but we actually ended up driving about 10 miles back north from the town after I'd booked it, still trying to figure that one out! Maybe we were just too tired :)
