Just a stop over on the race across the desert! Location okay if you want to stay away from the centre although a slightly circuitous route off the interstate. Room and facilities clean and generally okay, Disappointed that the large jacuzzi bath didn't work as it was booked at a premium price. We still enjoyed ourselves in the soapy warm water but a few bubbles would have been nice. Lovely quiet bed and breakfast was good too.
Lovely people, great coffee. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Top notch. Breakfast was great and the coffee maker in the lobby was an extra special touch. Mocha! Bed was comfortable, air condition was loud, and the hotel is in a weirdly industrial area. But that meant it was relatively quiet. Would stay here again. Didn't use the pool or gym (was passing through), but they looked fine.
Room was clean, bed very comfortable. Nice buffet breakfast with both hot and cold options. Waffles, oatmeal, eggs, turkey sausage, coffee, pastries, fruit. Perfect distance from Vegas strip for some privacy. Would definitely stay again.
Do not stay here if you are in a wheelchair!! Lack of handicap parking, entrance is cobblestones and extremely steep. Roll in shower had no soap dish, shower bench covered in vinyl...hang on when you using soap, and no place to hang your towel. The room was extremely dark, not enough lighting...task the front desk for a lamp perhaps, but she looked at us like we were crazy....thank heavens we carry flashlights on our trips! Bed was horrible! Could not roll out of the dip on my side of the bed. Since being retired, we've been traveling and this was the worst Best Western Plus that we have stayed at!!!
We spent a night here at the end of a trip to the Utah national parks before flying home from LAS. I chose it for it's location - not too far from the airport, but away from the frenzy of Las Vegas proper. The hotel is in a fairly quiet area surrounded by truck yards, but is only a short drive to a number of dining options. The hotel is well-maintained and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool is covered so you're not baking in the desert sun. The breakfast area is inviting and both hot and cold breakfast options are available. A nice place to stay if you want something quieter and out of the Vegas mainstream.
clean place, great breakfast buffet, easy access to I-15, safe, great customer service, I will definitely stay here again
It was good had gluten free options for breakfast and a grab and go breakfast bag. Room was clean. They had a mini store. Service was great. They were polite and told us what gluten free options they had and what was not gluten free. We will be back again.
Apparently you can't even smoke outside the building!!!!! They added a $250 penalty to my room for smoking outside near their ashtray
BW North Las Vegas had awesome people and that is what made our stay enjoyable. I was pleasantly surprised by the service...... the breakfast was great and they even have snack bags for people checking out. We had a great time!
HVAC leaking mold into the room, broken TV and one working outlet of 3. I won't be staying there again and intend to let me know the quality of my experience going forward.
We stay at quite a few Best Western hotels and this was pretty good. The reception was great, friendly. The water and cookies upon arrival was a nice touch and the great coffee machine in the lobby (lattes, cappuccinos, etc.) was awesome. Room decor was very nice with really pretty carpet and nice furniture. The king size bed was okay.. pillows were okay. Hopefully, they'll change out the hard mattresses for something more comfy. I woke up with aches and pains. Of course, they diminished with time, but a better bed would go a long way in the future for a good night's rest. The breakfast bar was one of the best I've had for this venue and we travel a great deal. Well organized with signage for just about everything Eggs that taste like real, fresh eggs vs powdered, good sausage, wide variety of cereals, fresh fruit, packaged pastries, waffle bar with different syrups, a separate coffee bar, and lovely, clean presentation. The Breakfast Ambassador, Bonnie, is a gem!
Was convenient for work as I am a truck driver. Room was basic average mostly clean carpet was sticky in some spots bed was hard as a rock. Was a few hairs on the floor in the bathroom. I noticed the base boards were missing not sure id stay hear again.
the staff was very friendly and knowlegdable, the rooms were very clean and nice,no complaints,i was able to park my tractor trailer with no prblems, the breakfast was not to bad,the to go breakfast were also not to bad, overall Excellent
We visited out kids in Las Vegas for Christmas and didn't want to spend an arm and a leg for what basically would be a bed for a night or two (ince we spent most of our time with the kids/grandkids). This hotel was in an "industrial" but very quiet part of North Las Vegas. It was clean and the room was fairly large...not to mention the jacuzzi in the room...nice!!! The staff were very helpful and and friendly! I would recommend this for anyone who is looking for a place to rest and not looking ofr a "resort" experience (including the "resort" fees!)
Not a sexy location but perfect when your next stop is Zion or Bryce canyons. Staff was very friendly and room was great. Selection of food and beverages above average at breakfast. One thing I dream to see in all those motels is real plates and utensils to avoid so much waste in the bin. Cannot be good for the planet.
The hotel is located at the north side of Vegas, away from the Strip. We choose it because of the ideal location (we were driving from Darth Valley to Zion) when passing Vegas. Friendly staff, nice small breakfast, mini gym. Good and clean rooms, spaceous. A recommendation.
Next to train tracks. Litter throughout exterior of property, never picked up. Exterior trash cans never emptied. Out of order exterior door throughout stay. Pool empty/out of order. Jacuzzi empty/out of order. (Not announced on website) Hard old mattresses. Not comfy. Property "under renovation" but no one ever working. Filthy carpets in hallways and stairs. Person openly smoking pot outside. No one says a thing. Strange fumes coming from Room 333 into hallway. Front desk personnel rarely at desk. I want to like this property but it needs some love!
Wonderful place to stay. It is located away from the strip but still within minutes of the strip. Clean facility inside and out. Pleasant staff. Rooms are quiet and spacious. Will definitely stay here again.
Clean, organized, friendly! The service in this hotels is amazing. Personnel at this hotel were very helpful, friendly and caring. Will be recommending this hotel. The location of the hotel allowed us to have access to many different location. Thanks
Trip advisor peeps let me down with this review. Check in wasn't a very pleasant experience. One of the reasons I booked this hotel is because of the full breakfast. When I went down to the lobby for the start of the 6:30 breakfast the doors to the breakfast room were still closed. So I went outside to load by bag while I waited. I couldn't get back in. Finally the attendant came and unlocked the outside door. She looked like she just woke up. When I went toward the breakfast room, she said there shouldn't be any breakfast today other than the cold stuff. Had to get coffee from the lobby pot which was only slightly warm…probably from yesterday. Hopefully this was a one off experience, but I wouldn't stay here again.
Booked two nights and left after one. Noisy street and train, renovating, peeling wall paper, uncomfortable night. Service is good, they were able to cancel second night without charge and tried to work with us but hotel didn't have a high back chair my husband could sleep in. Usually Best Western can accommodate but could not at this hotel.
This is a nice hide out for staying in a place filled with much variety. You can take a deep breath and relax, all while viewing the Stratosphere, and also take a stroll into the Wynn resort. If you love to walk, you may want to start at this nice place!
After a 5 hour ride in it was very convenient and save us a trip out for dinner with the nice selection of frozen entres and snacks, The room was clean and quiet very comfortable and nice to have dual desks and a couch to relax on as opposed to sitting in bed
This property is located away from the main boulevard and surrounded by businesses itself, so at night it's very quiet. Close and straight shot to Nellis AFB. Also, there are a lot of truckers staying in this hotel because the CDL office is located close by. I don't know about fighter jet noises during the week days because my stay was during the weekend and very little flying by the Air Force squadrons on the weekends.
We found the hotel very clean and well kept. The room size was beyond our expectation. We were here for a festival and the location of this hotel put us close to everywhere we wanted to go. It's location is somewhat isolated therefore it was generally very quiet at night.
Unsafe area someone tried to steal my catalytic converters and it cost me $ 2000 to repair my vehicle. If you value your safety don't stay near this place. This is a very unsafe area I would never stay in this area again.
Very positive experience and we would stay there again. The location was a bit strange, but it turned out okay. It was a very nice hotel and and room was large and very welcoming. We enjoyed both days that we had breakfast there, as well.
This was the second time we stayed at this hotel, and we were totally disappointed this time. First, the beds were extremely squeaky. We had to try to lay still during the whole night because nobody can stand the annoying loud squeaky sound every time we turned or sat (gently) or got up and came back to the beds. We barely got any sleep. Secondly, the AC was impossible to set. It only runs a short time then shuts off before it gets to our desired temperature. We set it at 70 but we were covered with sweat all during the night. How can they call themselves Best Western Plus? It is worse than a Motel 6. For the positive side, the kitchen and cleaning staffs were friendly. Breakfast was good and room was clean.
We needed to make tracks towards Washington State, and Las Vegas was our best stop for the night (both outbound from and return to Arizona). We did not need to stay long, and had little interest in "we have low rates AND large resort fees!!" that you find at Casino hotels. That, plus we wanted to park close to our room and get gone when we woke up in the morning. This hotel fit the bill, and we appreciated having it just a bit north of the downtown area. It is NOT located in a sexy area, and is pretty much surrounded by business park type facilities. There also aren't any restaurants in walking distance (and barely in driving distance). AND...it is right across from a railroad track with considerable traffic. I'm making it sound less than desirable, but...it all worked. The hotel was fully functional, had a pool and fitness center (both decent), and a VERY good included breakfast with very friendly staff taking care of the room. The room was very quiet (remember the railroad? We were on the track side, and we barely heard a thing - never woke up from it all night). Bed was comfortable, shower/bathroom was modern and spacious, and the cable gave a lot of options to pick from. Parking was super easy, and we easily moved from car to room and back. So - if you want a non-casino/resort room in Vegas, and want it at a reasonable price with typical amenities - this is your place. We plan on staying here again (when we are just passing through).
We received excellent service, especially from Mikayla!! She went above and beyond. Great rooms, great food, free parking, no resort fees. The only drawback was that the pool was not available, but I will definitely stay there again the next time that I am in town.
So, the front desk staff is nice. Breakfast is decent eith the usual fare, minus hard boiled eggs so many of us like. Internet and TV were good and water pressure was good in the shower. They really need to update their mattresses, but the whole property needs a refresh. Common area carpets were pretty filthy throughout, and exterior garbage cans were overflowing and neglected for the first 3 days out of my 4 day stay. They need to hire someone to keep up on the exterior stuff to be sure. I mentioned it to the front desk and also inquired why we didn't get housekeeping service even once, when they had told me they resumed it daily. To be fair, I asked for it at certain times (2 hour window) and then put the Do Not Disturb sign out. No fresh towels, had to empty trash myself and all that. I asked for towels once and think I got forgotten about. This property is adjacent to train tracks and is right next to the I-15 and Craig Rd. Convenient to hop on the freeway, but you do hear the noise. I mentioned all of this stuff upon my exit and was at least hoping for some extra points, or a rate reduction. As of now, I haven't gotten either, even though the friendly front desk lady assured me she would email me with some extra points at least.
The hotel is off the main strip.has truck parking and great stay with friendly staff and very clean rooms It has outdoor pool and 8 spots for trucks Down the street from the truck dealers Has China food for delivery
The front desk staff are amazing, very friendly and they try to be accommodating. The maintenance staff DO NOT come in daily, we stayed Thursday afternoon until Monday morning and an issue we reported was never resolved. I called prior to visiting and asked about the pool. We were told they had one, but weren't advised that it wasn't in working order. That was a complete was of time, I would have found a better hotel with a pool as our young grand children were with us. I feel like we were duped.
Just a 1 night stay before going to the airport. Large room, comfortable bed, nice jacuzzi. Great DIY hot breakfast. 20 minute drive to the airport. Downside is it's on the edge of an industrial area. Lots of restaurants nearby, not within walking distance. Many of them actually deliver to the hotel.
This location seems to best serve those on business trips or those who simply want to be tucked away from the Las Vegas limelight. We went as part of a Teamsters training course and were very pleased with the distance from which we could conduct business and grab a bite to eat. There are many places to choose from whether you want juicy steaks, tacos, or fancy drinks.
The hotel was very clean and the staff was excellent! The receptionist who was there checking me in was extremely friendly and very helpful with suggestions and information about the hotel. It was a bit more pricey than some other chains but reasonable.
Nice property, although in an industrial area - if you are hard of hearing. Located across the street from two rail lines with long, noisy fright trains roaring through several times an hour. All day and ALL night. We could actually feel the bed shake for some long trains. Too bad as property is new and breakfasts nice.
Broken pool with no heads up, them lied and said it was on the site. The beds are hand me down from somewhere worse at least top floor the bottom 2 floors are where they take the pictures. Entry and breakfast are nice floor 1 and 2 are updated 3 and 4... Not so much. Decent stay but don't expect best Western quality let alone plus.
We requested a king bed on our reservation but ended up with two queens. Having stayed here before, we weren't expecting the beds to be uncomfortable but they were. Maybe the kings are better? The breakfast was awesome! Expect to feels shakes in the floor because their is a train that runs right across the street. Isolated from the strip but an easy access 20 minute drive to get to the strip. Have stayed here before and will stay again.
Filthy carpet, mattress springs stab you while you sleep, and they must have a toilet paper shortage. Only positive thing I could say about the stay was the staff. Very respectful and made check out easy.
The area looks to be safe without much traffic passing by. However, the freeway is behind the hotel and large trucks pass in front of it. If you are a light sleeper, this will keep you awake. Overall, a good hotel to stay and very clean.
Jordan, Kristy and Holly were very friendly. Our room was clean and nice along with the lobby area. Slept great! To top it off, the breakfast was really good! Kristy kept checking the food area every few minutes to make sure the containers were full and that the food was good. We would definitely recommend.
For the most part it was a vary good stay. There were a couple of things that could have been better. One the hot tub and pool was closed. The cable was accidently cut by some one down the road and we lost TV for more then half a day. Housekeeping was the best I have ever seen.
booked direct, difficult place to find with absolutely nothing close by for dining or entertainment. Carpet in room was filthy, wore out, and in dire need of replacement. Toilet did not function properly! Shower curtain rail, baseboard tile and wallpaper were loose or completely off. did not realize the a/c only worked if your key was in doorway switch. was kept awake by trains passing across the street out fron of the room. Then the loud street racing out front on the street was competing with the train at approx 2:30am
Trains all night long, overpriced. Trashy industrial location difficult to find., REALLY DO NOT GO THERE. As Diamond members we've stayed in myriads of Best Westerns. This was the absolute worst unworthy of the plus rating!
The carpets in the hall and lobby are filthy and totally black in front of the room door. As soon as we opened our door the smell of mold and mildew from the a/c smacked me in the face. The mattresses crunch. The bedding is thin, cheap and old. It is located in the middle of an industrial area and there is drag racing all night on the road.
Double charged me for my room which had my bank account over drawed and leaving me with no money for my whole stay in Vagas didn't even offer to compasate me in no way!If not for my friend would have went hungy for the week.
Not a great location for a BW. Located in a little hard to find industrial area with no near access to restaurants or service stations. Not the place to stay if you're just traveling thru and want the convenience of those amenities that are provided in most BW locations. As far as the Hotel itself we had no issues, seemed well kept and clean. A little train noise but not significant. Mainly a convenience issue.
This was difficult to rate! First, the location is strange, sandwiched in between the I-15 freeway and an industrial park, with a train track beside the road and freight trains roaring through from time to time. Beware that it's difficult to get to unless you know how- there's only one way in. I walked into the high-ceiling impressive lobby and noticed one of those floor-to-ceiling wall waterfall-effect fountains like you see in many casinos in Vegas. But the fountain was dry, and the carpet was covered with stains. That was the first of several impressions of faded glory, a once-nice hotel that had slipped into a state of disrepair and neglect. I registered at the desk. The employee was super nice. I had to sign off on not smoking in the room and no pets. As a lifelong non-smoker who had never travelled with pets this was welcome. I went up to my room and was struck by the strong cigarette smell. I immediately went back down to the desk to tell the employee. She was super professional, apologizing and quickly arranging for another room. This room had no cigarette smell but was musty-smelling, as if someone had had dogs in there or something. I didn't want to seem like too much of a complainer so I told the employee the 2nd room was OK. However if you want to stay in a place with clean-smelling rooms this is not the place! Soon the reason for the various odours became clear as I saw guys standing around in the parking lot smoking, guys standing outside the doors smoking, and even a guy standing near the pool smoking! And people walking their dogs outside. Somehow I doubt those dogs spent the night in the owners' cars. About the "scary" part, loud cars with blacked-out windows would roar up and roar away from time to time. Mind you this hotel is on an isolated road so you have to go there on purpose. Also remember the guys smoking in the parking lot? They were there all night. I caught bits of their conversation, the word "grams" came up a lot, and I don't think these sketchy-looking guys traded in precious metals! I will never ever dream of staying there again.
Excellent location and excellent stay! Best breakfast for a 3 star that I have had in recent years. Check in was great and accommodate an early check in. Allowed for our return to the hotel late to just go to the room rather than check in. Place was extremely clean
Entire experience was excellent. Check in was quick and friendly, the room was clean and well maintained, bed was comfortable, and shower was hot. Would definitely stay here again. Much better experience than the nasty hotel I stayed in the previous night, and the prices were within $35 of each other.
It was amazing. Very clean, quiet. Staff was very helpful customer service skills were amazing. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends Thank you best western for your hospitality. Jordan went above any beyond my expectations
I had a fantastic visit here. The surroundings may be a bit off putting, but in the end I found it a plus, as this is an oasis, with no bad neighbors, etc. The interior is awesome, so if you want a good room, a nice lobby and great breakfast area, this is the place. The front desk staff were great, and the breakfast attendant did a great job.
This Best Western was recommended by the Kenworth dealership as lodging while my truck was being repaired. My first night I was very pleased with my room however I wasn't given the proper rate for a CDL holder. I chose to stay a second night and the rate was adjusted correctly for my second night. My room was very nice and clean. The lady at the front desk and housekeeping was particularly pleasant and helpful. My problem with my stay is this, I'm a smoker. I have to go outside to smoke. I went to the pool area to relax and smoke. There wasn't a soul out there for two hours just me. I was using my phone and drinking my coffee a s putting my discarded cigarettes in the waste can. However the front desk lady asked me to stop smoking outside in the pool area. I said well okay, I've literally been out here hours now. She replied yes, but the manager called and asked her to say something to me, he was remotely viewing the pool area. Not only was this petty but also disturbing to be remotely viewed. So the smoking area she suggested is at the front of the building at the entrance in the sun. There is no other seating outside. This isn't relaxing at all. It's extremely loud since there is a people walking in and out, a busy roadway with industrial traffic and trains running directly in front of the hotel. I would have recommended this hotel based on the rooms and the staff until this. They should offer other areas for their smoking customers than a hard uncomfortable bench at the entrance with heavy traffic of all kinds. Thanks management! Your staff did everything right and you somehow ruined my visit with your remote viewing!
The hotel was clean, which is the most important part. Just a few things to keep in mind. 1) The airbase is nearby and we got quite the fighter jet show in the evening and morning (thankfully not all night long). 2) The grab and go breakfast bag was sad (apple, muffin, granola bar, water), bring some food with you or go out to breakfast! 3) The pillows were little tiny squares, weirdest thing I've ever seen at a hotel. The place was clean but some things could use an upgrade!
I wouldn't say this hotel is anything fancy by any means, but it certainly serves the purpose of having somewhere to sleep. The bed was super comfortable. We stayed in a king suite with dining area and that was a cool room. There were a few minor things like some of the wall Decour being crooked and an old McDonald's bag wadded up under the dresser that definitely should be fixed, but other than that we had no problems with our stay. Overall, we would stay here again.
Friendly staff, clean huge rooms with Semi Truck parking! Very nice accommodations that include dog friendly and guest laundry! It's away from the super busy streets of North Las Vegas but only minutes away from tons of restaurants!!
I loved the location. It was easy to see from the main road but a round about way to get there. I think that those traveling with trailers or rentals like U-Haul, Penske, or others would feel safe and comfortable here. I used to live by train tracks and the sound of a train passing by was nice. It wasn't often or loud and didn't last long. It never interrupted our sleep -- not even the dog's.
Overall it was a clean and comfortable place to stay, and the staff was friendly. The drawbacks in my opinion were the location of the hotel and the condition of the room. There was damage to the walls, the toilet didn't flush several times and I had to jiggle the mechanism in the tank. The exhaust fan was noisy and sounded like it was in need of repair or replacement. To access the hotel from the interstate you need to drive through a run-down industrial area with litter and trash all over the streets and sidewalks.
Had a great time at my stay. Met my expectations and was comfortable felt like home. Even had some friends over in my room to watch the football game with me. Overall the experience was great and I would definitely go w
The Inn is centrally located. Rooms were very spacious. COVID-19 precautions are in place, so we felt very safe. Sack breakfast was surprisingly good. Fresh coffee and flavored creamer added to it, as well as the variety of juices. Great value!
Very Friendly staff, clean room and comfortable beds. Close to Las Vegas Motor Speedway and many restaurants, gas ,etc. Parking was good and felt safe. Willbe staying again in a few weeks when we return.
A nice property in a challenging locale between the freeway and train tracks. Friendly staff; desperately in need of new carpet throughout property. Strong pot smell on 3rd floor that seeped into my room.
I booked this hotel for our one night in Vegas while on a road trip. We were supposed to arrive around 9 or 10 pm. I got a call from the hotel saying that their check-in time is 8am to 6pm and after that they cancel your reservation. NOWHERE on the BW website this information is mentioned. When I asked if this is their hotel's rule or the chain, they said it's the hotels in Vegas. However another hotel in Vegas, from the same chain, had your usual check-in time. What a nonsense!
I really appreciate the manner in which i was treated both over the phone and in person at the front desk. I am on business and they worked with me to make my stay better. the ice machine was down but they got it working based upon my request
It was wonderful and nice to actually get a direct person from the hotel and able to stay in communication with them about our travel during covid-19. They were helpful and friendly and reassured us it was OK to have a late check in and they would be waiting for us. Thank you so much.
I had an amazing experience on this location. The best hotel in North Las Vegas. I arrived early in the hotel and I tried to request an early check in than the normal 3:00pm check in time. The front desk staff informed me that the rooms are not ready yet. So I told her I'd just wait at the lounge area. In less than 10 minutes she called me and said she upgraded me to the Executive Suite so I don't have to wait too long. I was so glad to hear that. She was an Exceptional employee. She deserved a pay raise. I loved and enjoyed the amenities (breakfast, fitness center, pool) at Best Western Plus in North Las Vegas Inn & Suites. In addition to, they always have promotions such as 2 nights stay and 1 free night. I would highly recommend this hotel and location. Thank you.
Absolutely perfect every time. From making reservations, arrival, cking in, and especially having breakfast as an amenity... all goes smoothly. We always attempt to stay at BW+ whenever we travel. They are the best hotel for your $'s
Next to a railroad track. Trains kept waking me up all night. They must realize this since there were ear plugs in the room. They didn't helpl. They do have a good, exceptionaly clean breakfast bar. Overall, don't stay here.
Horrible stay. In fact, I want to be reimbursed for the money spent at this hotel. Advise: Please avoid booking a stay at this hotel. The rooms were not clean, terribly expensive the value for a room, breakfast food made us ill.
I love coming here it is very clean staff is very friendly I really do recommend this place for who ever is coming to Las Vegas as for a vacation or business trip this is the place that I come to every time I visit Las Vegas.
It was a great value for the price. The rooms were very nice and clean. It is located in an industrial area so you cant really go out for a walk. But the service was great. If we are passing through Las Vegas again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
I do a lot of work away from home , so i like to call best western my home a way from hone ! the staff are always helpful ! i real recommend the service , they are very helpful in they do go out of there way to make you feel like home
Las Vegas is bursting with construction of all sorts, including highway construction. This Best Western was a welcome respite from the irritations caused by that. Conveniently located, completely update, high speed internet, a breakfast buffet that would make any mom proud, clean and well-appointed rooms, and a cordial and friendly staff -- all of which make this a great place to relax and recharge.
I've stayed here before a few times and really liked it. BUT.... I made a reservation for a pet room November 24. I arrived and got the usual excellent greeting and check in, UNTIL I mentioned my pet was a cat. I've stayed last spring with my cat and my wife no problem, the web site claims cats will be allowed at the hotels discretion. My reservation was canceled! Now two forty pound slobbering, leaky dogs are A-OK, but a ten pound cat is beyond them. What? Is that.... what? To the credit of the staff they did get me a room at a almost nearby LaQuinta that is almost as nice and has no problem with (yike) a cat, but still. I'm a long time points member too. I guess their discretion person was off duty that day. Anyhow, if you stay here you will get the usual fine BW experience, breakfast and all. If you're a light sleeper ask for a room away from the train track side. I've stayed on the front side near the tracks and have never heard a train. The location is a short drive to anything you need for a stay. A fine place to stay; they just have this thing about cats.
I searched for a property in Vegas with an indoor pool and this came up. It is not an indoor pool, nor is it heated. It is a covered area, more like a lanai, that in photos looks indoor. For us, this was a major disappointment. We travel with our kids and having the pool was important for this December trip. We certainly would have stayed somewhere else had it been clear. The rooms themselves are good and the lobby/breakfast area is really nice. If the pool doesn't matter to you, or you are visiting when it is above 75 degrees, then go for it.
This hotel is located in an industrial area away from the city but close to the Smith Center. No casino on premises, of course, but you do get complimentary breakfast with many choices. Decent, quiet room. When we entered the lobby in october, there was a nasty smell like backed up sewage. Nobody at the desk commented. We also smelled it in the back entrance. Fortunately it cleared up later.
This Best Western is close to everything you would need, take Craig road as this road will get you to all you need food, markets and casinos. It might seem like you are way off the beaten path at the Best Western North Las Vegas but you really are close to everything you would need. From this location you can get to Nellis Air Force Base, Charleston Mountain for outdoors sports, Las Vegas Motor and Race Track. We will be back to the Best Western North Las Vegas as it was clean, comfortable and a nice place to stay. Thank you, Best Western North for our most recent visit it was pleasant.
This hotel was a nice surprise when my family and I visited Vegas for a football tournament. A very affordable stay with everything you need to have a comfortable and least chaotic vacation in Sin City. Don't let the location of it fool you, isolation is the best! It's approximately 6-8 miles from The Strip so you won't deal with all the craziness, but if you want to get involved, it's 10 minutes away (with traffic). The actual room is a decent size with a microwave and refrigerator. Modest swimming pool (I didn't use it because it was sub 40s during my stay). Couple cardio equipment for my workout freaks. And my pups were allowed to be with us. But the BEST part about the hotel was the service. All the receptionists were nice! Shout out to Lauren, Emily, and Evanna. The hotel serves up a solid breakfast that actually satisfies. So thanks to this Best Western Plus, I became a member! Thanks for reading!
It's a very clean place comfort beds clean rooms clean parking place good gym room I will recommend this hotel to all my friends and family I stay here every time I'm around Vegas good breakfast nice personnel
Nice quiet hotel good breakfast and clean rooms, would stay again. The only downside a little hard to find. Kind of in an industrial area and tucked away. It was nice to have a quiet place to rest away from the chaos of the middle of vegas.
This Hotel was a great place to stay. Great help at the check-in Desk. The rooms were nice and clean with comfortable beds and pillows. They also have fresh baked cookies for the guests in the late afternoon. Breakfast area was really nice and clean and all the food items were full and very good. Overall, I would have no problem staying here again when in the area.
We are fans of NHRA racing and appreciated the hotel's proximity the Strip at Las Vegas. The staff were very friendly and the facility is well maintained. The hotel room was nicely sized and the matress was actually pretty good.
Spent four nights here and found it a great place to stay for NASCAR/NHRA or other racing events at the LV Motor Speedway. Reasonable prices, comfortable rooms with small fridge and microwave. Great breakfasts and good variety of food choices.
The rooms and facilities were clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good hot breakfast. Quiet area located off strip, away from distractions...good for business. Also a good location for families. Felt safer than some out of the way hotels. Mostly a business area...no loiterers.
The hotel met expectations for service, cleanliness and value. Fast and friendly service, clean room, solid WiFi, and a good breakfast - all the things that keep BW my primary lodging choice. Appreciate the quick check-in and check-out. For us this was a great location for a late flight into Vegas with the plan to continue on our journey beyond the city the next morning. Since we are not interested in the gambling experience this place also provided a break from all the slots with their flashing lights and noise.
everything was great lots of parking 24 hr mini store was perfect if you forgot anything at home or just want some snacks/drinks prices at good as well loved that they even had a laundry room if you need to wash a quick load
This hotel was clean, accessible to restaurants, and the staff here is awesome. We were able to park our truck & trailer which is always a plus. The rate was really good for Vegas & a good option when you dont want to stay to close to the strip.
This hotel can be seen off the freeway but its really in the boonies and not close to any restaurants or stores. It's a hideaway. They do have a small freezer of food items to purchase. Hotel can be pricey!
This is a lovely hotel is a strange industrial area. I have a few concerns about noise that were quickly banished. The rooms are nice. We traveled with our dog and were happy with the comfort areas. I would definitely stay there again
The hotel is located a short drive away from the Vegas Strip and in a quiet area. There are train tracks next to the property but we did not hear any noise due to them. The amenities like the pool and fitness center were a nice plus. And the breakfast selection was good too, including hot and fresh items like scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy and sausages.
We stayed here to be close to relatives. It was a bit counter-intuitive to drive there, but once we called and got directions, our stay was great. Emily was very helpful at the front desk. Security is good, even though it is in the industrial area. We asked for a quiet room and that is what was delivered. Breakfast is very nice, with lots of standard choices. We would stay again.
I was a bit nervous to stay here given some of the negative reviews but there was no need! We booked this hotel for the NASCAR weekend. We specifically chose it because it was closer to the track and not in the hubbub of Vegas. So for those booking it thinking the strip or downtown is super close (walking distance...), please look at the location on a map. Those areas are a short drive away - we made it to the outlet malls south of town in 18 minutes - but you cannot walk. We found the staff to be friendly - every single one of them we met at all different times of the day. They were helpful, including working with us when we arrived earlier than check-in time. The rooms are affordable here with no resort fees and free parking. Our room was a very clean, basic room. The beds were comfy and we did not have problems with noise. It is next to the freeway and train tracks but it honestly was very quiet. While we did not use the pool, we did check it out because we saw reviews that said it was dirty. It wasn't. There may be bugs that make their way into the pool because, well, aren't there bugs in every pool? The pool area looked well-maintained. Breakfast was simple but plentiful. They had fruit, hot eggs and meats, a waffle maker, cereal, yogurt, breads, and beverages. We will go back next time we are in Vegas.
Really nice hotel. One of our nicest stays in many trips to Vegas. Hotel was clean, in great shape, and every member of the staff was very friendly and helpful. No freeway noise at all and we had a freeway side room. No resort or parking fees makes this an excellent value. I disagree w negative reviews; this is a great venue. Though north of city center, the location is pretty convenient to pretty much everything Vegas has to offer. We'll be back.
Nice but slightly worn Best Western. Big clue our mights sleep may be a challenge was the earplugs on the night stands. Yup, fighter jets scramble and it will wake the dead! Nellis AFB is very close.hotel is in an industrial area and not easy to find. No food anywhere close. Room was clean but worn out. Beds fine, breakfast typical of a complimentary breakfast. Won't stay here again.
hotel is clean, attendants are professional and helpful, very pleasant. Has all the amenities necessary for a nice getaway. Away from the beaten path. Only drawback is a railroad track very close. But the hotel is apparently well built....you hear the trains but not nearly as loud as one would think. Ive stayed twice this year and would certainly return.
Room was large but not cleaned properly! Breakfast was iffy and questionable. I had to personally clean the pool because there was bugs floating all in tge water. Disgusting. Very very dissapointed! I want my points back!
This property is a hidden gem, always clean and serene, close to the strip and downtown but an oasis in the desert. I highly recommend this property, I've been staying there since 2010 and have never been disappointed. No resort fees, no parking fees and an awesome free breakfast. Simply the best!
nice hotel just out of the way.. kind of tough to find a good route from here,..the mattress on the beds were VERY old and noisey,,no support.. the train tracks across the street were not a big deal,,didnt really hear it
Property seems to be hidden, good and bad I guess but overall its very quite and calm to relax and enjoy your stay. Will definitely be back and staying with them in the future. Good job staff, keep up the excellent work! Thank you!
I have stayed at this best western plus twice. Each time I have had a great stay. The location is not too far away from the strip and if that is not something that you're interested in within a couples of miles (1-3) there is a local hotel where you can gamble. There is also a lot of food places in order to get a bit to eat. At the hotel they have a grab and go area with things that you can eat in the room. The pool is indoor and open till 11pm, They have breakfast until 9am maybe 930am. The only downside is depending on the location of the room you can hear the train but that is the only downside. They staff is friendly and was very welcoming even though I arrived later in the evening. I would stay at this hotel again. The room itself was very clean and everything was in order. It was nothing fancy but it did the job just to sleep in for the two nights of my stay.
This motel is a great property, clean & friendly staff. pool a little crowded at times. Holly at front desk and manager really helped us out. We were in a pinch and they worked it through. Location is close to major routes. A little tricky getting off Donavan street though. It's located in an industrial area of Vegas but no worries. Nice rooms good price too. Breakfast very good.
The hotel and staff were wonderful - beautiful room, very reasonable rates, free Lyft service within 5 miles of hotel, good breakfast. The ONLY issue at all is the location, through no fault of the hotel. It was really difficult to find and there are no shops or restaurants within walking distance.
Great hotel for the price range. Clean room and friendly services. I'm very satisfied with this stay and would recommend it to my friends/family. It's a little bit hard to get to the hotel -- road is a bit confusing. Don't be surprised if you find big black cockroaches outside parking lot. It's a normal problem in dessert area. Rest assured that inside the hotel is very clean.
A very welcome respite after a horrible day of driving. Staff was welcoming and helpful, room spacious and quite comfortable, everything spotless. Our room was near the dining, pool, and front desk areas, but we heard pretty much zero noise. Breakfast was the usual fare, but ample, hot and fresh. A bit off the beaten path, in a commercial/industrial area, but there are plenty of food options within a 5-10 minute drive.
The location absolutely sucks. Worst ever. When I stayed there it was over 100 degrees and the elevator did not work so I had to carry all my bag up and down, since it wasn't fix while I was there, in the extremely hot stair way. I requested more creamer and sugar for my coffee but never got it. I know it was late and house keeping might have been off but someone could have brought it to me. Maybe they didn't want to go up and down the stairs. The hot tub in my room was the only good thing about the hotel. I will probably never stay there again.
The room was exceptional and had a great rate. The bed was comfortable and the amenities were nice. Fast check-in and check-out. The breakfast was good with many selections and tasted very good. Nice atmosphere
I stayed in this hotel for 13 days while attending a military course on Nellis AFB. During my time here, I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the facility, the helpfulness of the staff, and the amenities available. This was my first stay at a Best Western and I will definitely be staying with them in the future. The hotel fitness center leaves a bit to be desired, but you can get a basic cardio workout in with no problem. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family and hope that my experience was indicative of the quality of service you receive at a BW across the country.
The Staff was very helpful and courteous, room was FANTASTIC and the breakfast was great. Dante took great care of us and made us feel very welcome. 4 days on the road and this was the best stay of the trip.
Took forever to find it. You can see it from the road but because of one way streets you can't see how to get to it. Really need some signs saying where to go. We almost gave up and canceled the stay. It is also way out of the way from normal Vegas activities-but it does have a Sams Club, a theatre and some fast food places a short drive away. Easy to get on freeway in the morning and no rush hour traffic because you are already north of town if you are going to Salt lake.
If your looking for a place to sleep peacefully away from the strip, this is the hotel to stay at. Customer support and service was above and beyond. Breakfast is amazing, and near a wide variety of restaurants less than a mile.
I have no complaint of any sort about the building or the staff, only the location. The building must have been constructed somewhere and dropped in by helicopter because I couldn't get there from where I was.
If there were an option for minus stars I would have used that This is probably the worst hotel I've ever dealt with They are rude and as soon as you start talking about your concerns they get defensive and stop communicating. I had canceled my rooms over a month and a half prior which they confirmed by email then when the day came of the original booking day they charged my card double the amount of my rooms with no rhyme or reason and hung up the phone when I was inquiring....... I have never experienced this with any hotel especially best western where I usually stay all over Canada and the US It's almost like this hotel operates on its own agenda with no customer service whatsoever Sad to see as I really enjoy my experience at all but this best western. I would not even consider this hotel an option There is a Hampton in right near by that I have stayed at with a great experience every time
This location is great for avoiding the lights and noise of the strip. quick on and off of I-10. Although a train runs a few times a day across the street, the rooms are quiet. The breakfast is ample and a nice selection. Definitely great for a stop while traveling the southwest.
At a minimum, a hotel room must have a comfortable bed, quiet, and a working, quiet heating and cooling system. This hotel had a comfortable bed. But the road noise was relentless, and the air conditioning system, under the window, banged off and on loudly. We thought we had a choice: turn of the A/C and endure the street noise. Or: turn the A/C down to a very low temperature so that the hum would block out the street noise and the system would not go on and off. But NO. The A/C system was set at 74.5 as the lowest temperature. So we endured one of the most sleepless nights ever. Horrible. Whatever else the hotel has or does not have is irrelevant.
Rooms are old and dingy; tv remote did not work; hotel located by a train; bad odor in the room we first were assigned to; key did not work to enter through outside door; only positive was front desk customer service who tried to help by giving us another room. Also their breakfast was decent. But overall, not a good experience staying here and definitely not worth the money we paid. We will never stay here again.
Hotel is close to freeway entrances - 15/20 min of strip - very close to Las Vegas Motor Speedway, it's quiet, great breakfast, staff is wonderful. Great for family. Pool is nice - covered and has hot tub.
We stayed here one night before heading out of Vegas and over to Arizona so the location was great. Not on the strip so it was quiet and not very busy. The lobby is nice and updated. The rooms are a little outdated. The bed was not very comfortable and it was loud and squeaky. Breakfast was as expected for a hotel buffet style breakfast. Quick and easy check out.
We had a great 4 night stay here. Shout out to Evan the evening night clerk. We left the car dome light on and a guest reported it to him. He went thru all the hotel registrations and found us. He called the room to let us know. Without his help we would have had a dead battery for sure as the automatic shutoff didn't work for our car. Our room was comfortable with plenty of drawer space. Coffee maker, iron, refrig and microwave. Our room was on the freeway side so not bothered by train noise. We do use a white noise app to block out any external noise. Small pool which is not heated but jacuzzi is hot. Breakfast is much more than continental as they have several hot items which change daily. Also waffle maker, fruit, cereal, juice etc. can't beat the breakfast for the price of this hotel. No resort fee! Not that hard to find with Google maps gps. Many choices to eat on Craig Rd 5 minutes away. If you have kids the Craig Regional Park is not too far away and is fantastic.
We were headed out to Utah early the next day so this hotels location was off the beaten path and perfect. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had a nice standard hot breakfast. The Rooms clean and updated. It is next to a train track but staff made sure we were aware and given options.
We were pleased with our stay here. The room was clean and neat, the staff was friendly and efficient and the hotel was well located near the freeway and places to eat. Best Western seems to have been investing into their facilities lately and this one looks great.
Great place. Clean, affordable, quiet, and free full breakfast. Pets aloud, and still clean and quiet. Cant hear people walking around or noise form other rooms. Laundry faciliites and supplies available, work room, and pool and jacuzzi!
We stayed here after s late arrival into Las Vegas. It's about 20 min. From the airport, perfect location if you plan to drive out of Vegas. We were heading to Zion the next morning. They give you earplugs because of the possible noise from the railroad coming by, but we didn't hear any noise until morning. Decent free breakfast and best value, our room was only $100.Room was very clean, and the desk staff were very friendly and check in was quick.
I stayed here after a late flight into Vegas and it was a great hotel. The front desk warned us of a train and provided us with ear plugs. I didn't use them and never heard a train. I really liked the hotel!
Dante was amazingly helpful, over and over again. He made all the difference - thanks Dante! Would definitely stay again because of him. If every hotel employee was as kind and as conscientious as Dante, everyone would be way, way happier. :-)
room was clean, breakfast was good with many options. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We would stay again. If you're a light sleeper request a room away from train tracks. Make sure to bring your own shampoo and soap unless you don't mind smelling like a lysol wipe.
We stayed here because we had to pass through Las Vegas with our 4 girls. We chose this hotel because it had a swimming pool. We were not told the pool was out of service until after our check in, then I found out they only closed it because the jacuzzi wasn't working. On top of that, the room had a horrible smell. We woke up and noticed that she sheets we had slept in were horribly stained and it was NOT from us. The crib we requested was dirty and I couldn't even put my baby in it. When I told the staff they just blamed the problem on others and didn't take any responsibility.
I had a good stay at the hotel the beds were very comfortable and made up nice , the showers was clean, the employees we're nice and made sure my boyfriend and I were satisfied with the stay and it was overall a great experience.
Overall a great place to stay. The train across the street might keep some awake but they provide earplugs if you need them. Good breakfast...good price...easy access to I-15 and 215 West for easy access to the entire valley.
I stayed here during my visit to CES 2019. The area looked handy from the booking process as it was only a 10-15 minute drive south into the famous 'strip' - so I'm going to rate my stay on the following : Staff = Very friendly and helpful when required. Nothing bad to say about them. Location = This venue is in an industrial type area with a freight train rail just behind it - which can often be noisey of an evening / early morning time. In terms of location to other parts of Vegas, very ideal and only a short drive to the 'strip' and an even shorter drive to Downtown (Fremont Street, etc) Car Park = Plenty of spaces to park your vehicle and always hassle free to enter and exit. Room = Adequately sized, we had the queen room which houses two king size beds, a TV, fridge, microwave, iron, office table and chair. There was a bathroom and shower which was clean overall with no complaints, although the shower pressure was a bit weak for my liking. Breakfast = This was included in our stay, although to be fair I was disappointed in the lack of options. I have both a dairy and lactose intolerance - so whilst I appreciate not everywhere is going to cater for this, with Soya Milk and Vegan being the 'in thing' now - I would have thought I could have had more choice, but alas - not. Every day saw a fresh waffle (make your own), scrambled eggs, boiled eggs and a turkey burger looking things. The first day there was potato rosti's then after that it was some pork and potato mixture (not sure what it is called) - there was also pork sausages, bread (with a toaster) and muffins and a selection of cereal. I was hoping to have seen more healthier options and some more chicken / beef options - rather than just pork. You wouldn't go hungry during breakfast, but for me personally, it was
I stayed here for two nights during the infamous CES in January, and it worked out really well for me. The best part is price, especially during big conventions when many hotels raise their room rates. I'm very pleased with the rates here during CES. The location is a bit away from the main events, 15 - 20 minutes Uber rides, but considering how long it takes to move around in town, this actually worked out OK. There was no restaurant or place to eat within walking distance, so either I ate before I came back to the room or I brought food with me. Delivery like Uber Eats may work but I didn't use it. The room has microwave and fridge. The breakfast is good and free. Eggs and sausages were prepared nicely and actually in better quality than some other hotels. The room is clean and the maid service is good. Enough outlets for charging ports, and TV has plenty of channel options. The only potential issue (which didn't bother me but it might affect some people) is noise from the adjacent rooms and trains running nearby. For this reason, I subtracted one star. But if you can handle that, it's a good alternative to expensive hotels in Strips.
The North Las Vegas Best Western Plus is always a good choice. The staff is professional and friendly. The facility is very clean and the breakfast is outstanding : ) I stay here often and it is always a good choice. I highly recommend this quiet and relaxing hotel for family or business travelers.
Location is extremely noisy from poor inter-room and exterior insulation. Multiple trains and trucks also add to the noise problems. I like Best Western hotels and have stayed at multiple location in Nevada and other states.
Best Western Las Vegas is one of the better places to stay if you want to stay out of the main drag. It has a lot of great places close to eat and see. The base is close and easy to get to. Sam's club and lowe close also
My first choice to stay while in LAs Vegas, far enough away from strip and traffic yet close enough to visit anywhere in Vegas close to where my son lives service is wonderful fresh cookies in the Afternoon
This hotel is in an industrial area- you have train tracks on one side and the freeway on the other. You will not be walking to any shopping or dining. It is a bit hard to find. From the I-15S, take the Craig RD. exit (exit 48) and then proceed straight through the lights at the top of the exit ramp. Donovan Way then winds around under the overpass; turn right at the stop sign. We asked for a quiet room and got one next to the fitness centre, across the hall from the pool and facing the tracks-not what we originally had in mind for quiet. Even though we faced the tracks, the trains were not a major issue and I am a light sleeper. Ambient noise wasn't too bad but there might as well be no wall between the room and the fitness centre as you can hear every sound. The room was quite large and the layout had a designated sleeping area (amazingly comfortable king bed, large dresser, flat screen TV, bench) separated from a sitting area (couch and chair, desk with 2 arm chairs, wet bar, fridge, microwave) and a very large bathroom with granite counter tops. Strong wi-fi. Very good breakfast although I don't like plastic cutlery and paper plates; extremely friendly staff. Would stay here again.
This hotel is a bit out of the way, about 10 minutes from the strip, but it has a great breakfast, easy Uber access, free LIFT within a few miles to get needed items from the store or go to a restaurant. The staff is fabulous. Very professional and helpful, they even gave me a toothbrush because I accidentally threw mine out. The property is clean and well manicured and the rooms are very clean. My only suggestion would be to ask for a room on the backside of the building, as the train runs in front of the building. We had a room on the back side and it was very quiet.
We booked our room online and didn't see an wheelchair accessible option but could see that they did offer them. Upon arrival we told the front desk our situation and he appologized for the inconvenience. He gave us an accessible room for the same price that our online reservation was for. The staff was helpful throughout our stay. The room was beautiful and was easy for me to use my wheelchair.
The hotel is clean, very quit place to relax, rooms are cool and welcoming on arrival, staff polite and very helpful. Money to value is great. very close to freeway ans everything else. Most important away from noise and lights and rush of Vegas
Our king suite with spa and sitting area was spacious and very clean. The furnishings were up-scale. There was a wet bar too with refrig. and microwave. Also large flat screen TV. The sitting area had a sofa, chair and ottoman, along with a desk. The breakfast selection was large with lots of tables and chairs and everything tasted great! We took the advice of some previous reviews and requested the back side of the hotel, which was very quit. The train tracks run near the front of the hotel. Would certainly return the next time we are in the area.
This is the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The service was great and breakfast tasted homemade. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Pillows could be a bit more supportive, but that didn't get in the way.
I will not stay here again. Pool was so cloudy and gross you could not see the bottom, disappointing when it was 100+ degrees out and my family could not use the pool. We also got a room next to two barking dogs who would not shut up till 2:30 am. I tried to call the front desk and the phone did not work. Over all a horrible experience.
North of the Las Vegas strip area..good when just traveling through. Room typical for this chain of hotels. Right off the freeway easy off and on. Variety for breakfast. Staff good, premises in industrial area. Trains can be heard but did not wake us up. Was a 1 night sleep over, so other amenities not looked at.
Place is clean, and front desk is friendly. Good business hotel or for a quick stop entering/leaving Vegas. For the light sleepers, train is across street, but get a room away from tracks and you should be fine. No train horns, but it's close enough that you can feel it. I had a room close to tracks and slept like a baby.
All other Best Western motels will now be judged by this one. From the time we walked in until we checked out everything was perfect. You do not feel like a customer at this location. Thanks to Manny, Lauren, Anna, Margarita, and especially to Peta. You made this a memorial experience.
Front office guy Deshwin is very experienced and provided nice hospitality. location is little far from Las vegas strip but hotel is very good. we had a very good stay at this hotel. Very neat and tidy. i can give 4.9 out of 5 in overall rating
This is a great location to use when traveling north towards Salt Lake City. Close to a casino and some restaurants. The staff was very helpful with any questions I had about the area. In fact the check in experience was the best I've had this year!
We had a great stay and breakfast at this hotel, except for our hot tub experience. When my husband and daughter tried to use the hot tub, it was so over-chlorinated that it burned their eyes and irritated their skin. Disappointed that we couldn't use it after a very long day of car travel. Other than the hot tub issue, our stay was great!
I stayed by myself for work and I felt very safe. The staff was so friendly and my room was excellent. It was clean and the price was great too. The breakfast in the mornings is unbelievable.. Waffles, eggs, cereal, fruit, bagels and much more. A variety to choose from which will start your day off great. The elevators can be slow (I stayed here for a week).
Went for a drag race weekend and needed a place close by. this fit the bill, close to freeway and track... Was clean inside and out, nice rooms and very nice staff...we will be staying again next year.
a Quiet hotel close to where my son lives , a bit confusing to find at first but well worth the trouble, great breakfast selection, away from the traffic in around the strip would recommend to all to visit
Great price for a hotel in the Vegas area. Not super close to the strip but I didn't need that. Newly remodeled, nice rooms. The staff was very friendly and they were able to check me in and check me out in a timely manner.
Nice rooms, helpful staff, wireless worked well, everything was convenient and comfortable. The breakfast was also good, but the noxious talking heads yammering on while you're trying to have a conversation with your family left a sour taste. It would be far better to turn the TV off or tune it to music.
The location of the hotel was difficult to find as my GPS did not take me to the correct location. Clean decent hotel with a typical breakfast. Rooms are spacious. The only issue I had was the railroad tracks across the street. The trains can be extremely loud when they are going by. There is not a whole lot around this hotel as it is in a more industrialized area.
I am truly not happy with this please throw this out so I can get my 200 point this is not helping me at all I do not like doing this review please do not put this in here anymore it is in the way is difficult to try to use it does it scroll all the way around it it makes this thing more difficult please stop putting this in your review it doesn't help anybody out
Our family loved the hotel! We only stayed one night. we were able to check in early and had the pool to ourselves for a bit. Breakfast had a good variety and tasted great! We will definitely come back if/when we go through Vegas again!
The location of the hotel property is across the street from a railway line. There was a vehicle broken into (smashed ) window and items removed during the first hour the vehicle was parked. This happened in broad daylight.
Antonio, who is a new employee from Mississippi, is an exceptional employee. We had an issue with the cleanliness of our room (which I must point out has NEVER occurred before). Antonio promptly retrieved fresh towels, emptied our trash, and took our dirty towels away. I was VERY pleased with his service. He definitely deserves a raise! We have stayed here multiple times in the past two years.
Facility is nice. Staff very good. Pet facility is very poor, Plenty of property---no grass or dirt area. Took dog for walk during the late evening. Noticed that they do provide a security officer...felt safe
A great place to stay. Nice, pleasant employees. Great breakfast. Updated bathroom. Our room was very clean but mattresses getting dated. It's a bit removed from amenities as for walking distance but only a few minutes away by car. Would definitely stay here again for the price.
We stayed here en route traveling home. Very nice hotel with professional helpful staff. You are close to highways, restauraunt, and not in a crowded or hectic area. It is in a relatively quiet area. We travel with our dog. Our 'pet friendly' room had laminate flooring, which is good. The room was clean, comfortable and well outfitted. Complimentary breakfast was good; waffles, eggs, potatoes, sausages, cereal, toasts, etc, in an nice open dinning room. Room rate was comparable with other BW Plus rates. We slept well and had good dreams here. We would stay here again. Dog would prefer more grass landscapes on this and neighboring properties.
We loved the location in N. Las Vegas, away from the noise of the strip and Fremont. Come for a conference twice a year, and we'll be back at this Best Western. Although it's adjacent to a railroad, the noise was not bothersome. The rooms were clean, the staff was amazing, and the rate--given the busyness of the week in LV was very good.
This was a very good place to stay a little off the beaten path but the service was excellent a great breakfast for a hotel. The staff were all friendly and considerate. the rooms were clean and well supplied
Hotel was located in an industrial section of town, but we felt safe and it was quiet...especially being at full capacity. Hector was the check-in clerk and he was very kind and helpful. Our room was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was great, nice selection and did not expect a full breakfast fare, so that was a nice surprise. The eggs were warm and the potatoes were yummy. Loved the late check-out and would definitely stay again.
At the time we stayed there was road construction and it was difficult to get to. It is beside/almost under the freeway. Pet friendly staff, the facility has only cement and rock around it. Very dirty Parking lot for the dogs to go in. The mattress was a new experience for us, some sort of plastic! It made quite the noise when sitting on it. The staff was friendly and helpful. No restaurants within walking distance.
Lobby is very attractive, staff was most welcoming. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The only thing that is a negative is that this hotel is located in an area with industrial buildings and there aren't eating places within walking distance.
Lauren was amazing! My daughter forgot her iPod in our room when we left and Lauren spent the next several days trying to work out getting it back to us. She contacted UPS, took the iPod down there, went back down and picked it up when I found out it was going to cost $62 for them to ship (and I didn't even know she had taken it down there to begin with), suggested I try USPS, stayed on the phone with me while I worked out with her how to ship it, found a box to ship it in, packaged the iPod, printed the label, and put it in the mail. She went way above and beyond what she had to. It was our own fault the iPod was left behind and Lauren was not only super patient, but was incredibly kind and professional. She didn't have to do any of that, but we appreciated it SO very much!
It was pet friendly, but the location, though convenient, was in a strange area. Lots of rocky ground, very few residents. Everything worked well, but the furniture needed deep cleaning. Beds were okay at best. The east facing room was great for the sunrise. The pool was not heated and the spa was inoperative. Great Mexican restaurant across the I-15 freeway and to the left.
Very clean and great breakfast. Nice pool area, comfy beds and close to freeway. About a 10 minute drive to the Strip but well worth being in a quieter part of town. Close to restaurants and fast food. I will definitely stay here again.
Weirdest location but a good hotel. I didn't hear the train at all and slept great. Didn't appreciate not getting breakfast because I got there at 9:35AM. I mean it's New Years day folks people are not getting up at 7am. If you are going to inflate your price for the night you should at least be aware your guest will want to eat after drinking all night till 3AM. Otherwise this hotel is fine.
There were air fresheners inside the heater and it made the whole room smell. Not a good thing if you are allergic, or have asthma. All the machines in the fitness room were broken too. The room was not very clean.
This hotel is super nice. The wifi works wonderfully and any issues I had were resolved right away. It's beautiful, clean, and away from the glitz and glamour of the strip. The breakfast was tasty and they had plenty of options. I loved staying here with my family. I highly recommend. Speedy service and nice smiling staff.
I stayed for at least 3 weeks at this hotel. The hotel is clean and modern and seems recently updated and remodeled. I am sensitive to smells and this one was very clean. Every one of the staff was helpful and courteous and kind. My only gripe is it is too close to a major train line and you constantly hear the large freight trains all through the day and night. After a while, you get used to it. overall - a very good hotel bargain though.
The only negative was that the pool was not clean but other than that everything else was good. Breakfast was great hot and plenty for all. The rooms where clean and organized. I will definitely book for my next trip
All of the staff is friendly and helpful. Kids had a great time in the pool. Breakfast always exceeded our expectation. Any questions we had were answered helpfully and quickly. Nice large bathrooms with tons of counter space.
We were able to park right outside the back door and very close to our room which made it nice to load and unload our belongings. This hotel is located in more of an industrial type neighborhood, but with easy on/off access to the freeway when traveling. Very good hotel.
Las Vegas is a wonderful city full of lights and action. Which makes the quiet atmosphere of the Best Western Plus in North Las Vegas a peaceful and restful place to recharge for another day of excitement.
The location is very unfortunate between a highway crossing and a railroad. The area is industrial with nothing around. It's a 20-minutes drive from the Strip, often in high traffic. The room was very spacious and nice. Standard American breakfast so not good.
This Best Western was clean with multiple amenities including pool, sauna, fitness room and a decent hot breakfast. However, it is located in an off the beaten path site and may be challenging to find at first. The lobby area and outside entry were laden with tiles and supplies as they are modernizing this area. Otherwise, it was a restful and pleasant nights stay and a shower that was second to none in water pressure. Hot breakfast was recommendable as well.
nice hotel to stay. was enjoyable. Used it for its vicinity to LVMS/ Some previous people have complained about noise had no such problem. Place was quiet even while under renovations. As well saw no limitations as advertised for the complimentary breakfast.
The rooms seem to be in the process if upgrading. Beds and bedding are clean and comfortable. Sofa in sitting area seemed due for update. Lobby was experiencing some construction during the day. Quiet for sleeping. Very good breakfast buffet.
We've now stayed at this hotel twice and will return again. It is one of the best places to stay in No. Las Vegas. It is clean, close to restaurants, has a great breakfast, and is convenient to highways without the noise.
The stay was very good.it met our every need. Will be back. Everyone st the hotel was friendly. Happy. Willing to do whatever you needed or asked for. Will definately tell other about this bw hotel. Thank you
First off, this property appears to be in the middle of a remodel. No mention of this on their site even though it is fairly substantial. No mention of the fact that there are commercial train tracks within baseball throwing distance. When I checked in the trains were grinding to a halt and making an unbelievable racket. Checked in and asked for a quiet room. Never could get the air conditioning to be reasonably quiet or maintain a proper temp through my entire visit but not for lack of trying. Then there was the matter of asking for a couple of extra blankets. Guess what? I was told there weren't any. This is a first and I travel with BW 70+ nights per year. Staff...friendly. Breakfast ok. Lots of carbs and sugar but most of the usual fare. Train vibration intermittently throughout the property. Rooms are ok overall but mattresses definitely need an update. Long long black hairs in bathroom which I never touched and they remained for the 6 days I was there. So yeah. Sorry gang but this property needs a bit of attention. When I asked the front desk upon check out about some extra points for the inconveniences I was told I was getting my usual for being a Diamond Select Member. Oh well. On to the next!
The hotel needs new beds. Plumbing squealed. Breakfast was busy but waffle irons were not cleaned after several customer use. Jelly and batter stuck on them. Breakers kept blowing with the combined use of toasters and irons etc. I was in room 209 and only there for one night. Location was convenient to everything.
Clean and comfortable, decent breakfast, great updates being done, nice cool rooms, easy access to work, front desk staff are friendly and get you checked in and out quickly, pool area can use some work
I stopped here to have a break from the desert heat on a long drive. It fitted the bill admirably: it was close to the Freeway, the check-in was fast and efficient, the room was cool and everything worked, and there was a place to eat dinner closeby. The hotel was under renovation, but this did not cause me any inconvenience. The railroad runs past the front of the hotel, which for me as a railfan was a plus, but in any event I found the noise was minimal even in a room on that side of the building.
Stopped in North Las Vegas to avoid the downtown area. The best Western isn't the easiest to get to (we used GPS) and is oddly located in a commercial district away from the restaurants on the main street. There was construction going on with stuff in the front parking lot and in the lobby (remodeling the lobby really fancy with a waterfall according to the workers). Since we were just a drop-in, we were debating if we shouldn't try somewhere else. The clerk assured us that construction was only in the lobby after 8 am and she offered to upgrade us to a suite for the same price, so we stayed. We were in a 2 queen on the 3rd floor. The room was really nice, large with a couch, coffee table, a eating table with 2 chairs, desk, and a wet bar with refrigerator/freezer and microwave. The internet was nice and fast with lots of outlets, 2 at the table, 2 on the night stand and 2 at the desk. Did not notice anything that didn't work. Didn't notice anything amiss until later when we tried to sleep. It turned out we didn't hear any construction noise, but the trucks in this commercial area are loud (we were on the street side and the high speed trains (what seemed liked every hour) make the bed into a massage vibrator when they passed! Even with the AC fan on all night and ear plugs, we didn't get much sleep. Would not stay again no matter how cheap the room (certainly not on the train side of the motel). We packed up early, opted out of their free breakfast which didn't look like much but the usual, and went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast.
The hotel sits next to train tracks. When a train goes by the whole room shacks and windows chatter. The was no hot water for shower or sink. The room smelled like something died in it. The bed is as hard as a rock.
It was a Great hotel, and the staff was nice. Breakfast was good with lots but f options. . It is going through renovations and will be nice when done. Renovations did not impact my stay. The only bad was slow elevators.
We stayed here for one night before setting off to Utah to tour the canyons...lovely welcoming staff and room was spacious. Breakfast was lovely too, great spread! They were having works done but it didn't impact us at all.
Night front desk person seemed frustrated at me. I had a hard time understanding him and I was up for 24 hr, my brain was functioning to speed. I was disappointed with him. The maids were polite, so was the manager. The breakfast chefs seemed like we were an inconvenience for her.
The hotel is currently under renovation, but the room we stayed in was very nice. The breakfast was decent and staff very friendly and helpful. The location is good especially for someone who is not in Vegas for the gambling, shows or entertainment. We were there to catch a flight out after a tour through some national parks in Utah so had no desire to gamble. There are no slots in the lobby, which is a bonus to someone that desires quiet, and it is just off I-15 so is convenient.
Clean and remodeling right now so it will be very nice soon. The staff was Very nice and accommodating. The maintenance man came and helped me with the mattresses to check for bed bugs and was so nice. The front desk people will help with anything they can with smiles. The only thing that wasn't great was the bed wasn't so comfy on my back. Just feels springy and old. They don't have free water bottles like other hotels, but let's save the earth right? Over all a great experience
This was an awful experience. Upon arrival we learned the hotel was "under renovation." How about you state that on your website so we can choose if we want to put up with no main entrance, sticky concrete floors, no baseboards, paint missing, appliances missing, tile partially placed, exposed studs and electrical. Also wouldn't accept my travel rewards because they weren't printed. It was freakin midnight and I had nowhere to print.... Stupid! The room smelled awful and the AC unit sounded like a family of pigeons lived inside of it. What a terrible experience. Would not recommend to anyone.
Strangest location for a hotel--between a freeway and a large warehouse. I guess it is convenient for a business traveler. Lobby is small and nothing special, but suite was large and comfortable. They should discount the price while breakfast room is being remodeled.
Needs to be upgraded fast. Breakfast was low standard. To go boxes were left out all morning wth stone cold pancakes eggs potatoes and sausage inside. Salmonella growing. No heat lamp or time written on box. The bags of forks etc were sitting beside it to take but it was left out from the day before with margarine and syrup. Not worried about syrup but margarine.
Email precheck didn't process but the receptionist were very helpful in manually checking us in. Nice property, clean linens, more than enough towels, clean room. Continental breakfast was ok. We will add this hotel to our fav list of hotels.
We would never recommend using ypur hotel. We found black hair in the bed on the top ans bottom sheet!! We requested clean sbeets and had to put them on ourselves. The temperature waa inconsistent. We woyld like to have our money refunded!!
Hotel is in coarse of refurbishment, but did not cause any problems. This was a one night stopover, en route between Cedar City and Needles, it was extremely hot outside but the airconditioning was very effective. There is a railway track at the front of the Hotel, if you are sensative, it may be advisable to request a rear Room, A good alternative to Central Vegas, if you do not want the "High life".
Nice room that we stayed in. But the train noise outside gave it unpleasant sound sometimes, could be the only drawback. But overall, great place with great value if just need a good priced place outside of the Strips
Nice property close to the base. My stay for work was very comfortable. I have stayed in this property before and they are remodeling but it was not an issue with this stay. Great staff and amenities.
Thanks to the Breakfast Staff at Best Western Plus in North Las Vegas, NV, my day started with a wonderful smile. The staff was eager to help and accomodate to my needs, We believe breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and having someone make it comfortable and easy made it wonderful. Not only did my needs get me (with a delicious and nutritious meal) but my attitude changed from a morning frown to a wonderful smile. Thank you...
The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, even printed out a map how to get to old Las Vegas. We were going to go down that evening but opted to sleeping instead. We live in the country so when the train came by they would wake us up. Maybe the other side of the building would have been better. The place was clean, comfortable and wheelchair accessible. The breakfast was well stocked and had friendly staff. I would stay here again onle on the other side of the building.
The hotel was pet friendly, but did not appear to have any grassy area for pet use. The side entrance was filthy and interior renovations were were in progress. The hallways were littered with debris and carpets were filthy. Room didn't look to have been vacuumed. Killed a large roach in the room. No info was given on breakfast or how the A/C operated. Having been in the hospitality business, floors should have been vacant during reno. appeared to be work in progress prior to evening quiet time. Experience totally unacceptable! Would never recommend to anyone! Poor planning and poor management.
Would definitely stay again. Comfy rooms and great breakfast! Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool area looked very inviting though we didn't get a chance to use. Great value- especially for family of five to have the suite room.
We stayed here June 23 2017. When we came to breakfast on the 24th there was a tour bus group in line for breakfast and their departure. The kitchen was overwhelmed with the volume as a result and there was no food left for us. They were out coffee, juice, eggs, other hot foods. Many of the tour people also did not get anything to eat before they got onto their bus. Shockingly no one from the kitchen staff appeared to oversee this situation or check on the food supply. The front desk staff said they did not know there was a tour bus staying with them. Did the hotel not notice the bus when it arrived and all those people walked into the lobby? Why the hotel did not plan for a large crowd at breakfast was surprising. We have never encountered such a lack of planning and attention. We will NOT STAY HERE AGAIN. None of our family members who frequent here will stay again either. Price was EXPENSIVE for the location and especially the POOR SERVICE.
We stayed here for our travel softball tourney. This was on Memorial weekend which you guys know hotels on strip or any where else are heck of pricey. We got these rooms for heck of a good deal so I cant complain about a miscue with hotel about pull out bed that we didnt get we got a sofa instead. They did try to get us a different room but they were ll booked so at least they tried.I would recommend this place it was clean and off the strip so no noise and loud people.
very nice hotel and pet friendly for low price, not near the strip but about $15 lyft ride so overall quite area. Hotel in an industrial area but not far from gas, food areas. Hotel offers breakfast and has pool/hot tub.
I would recommend this place to anyone !! Room service was great ! The beds were very comfortable ! Internet was good and easy to connect to ! No problems with GPS on finding it ! Easy accessible parking! The attitude of the employees made me feel very welcome. Their desire to help, incredible!
This hotel is clean and modern. the service is excellent and the breakfast is great. It is a nice place to stay when visiting Las Vegas, but you don't want to stay at a casino. It is away from the stip, but not too far away if you want to go. It can be a little difficult to find, but it is worth it.
This is our second year here for our convention. As always, wonderful! Loved that they had Turkey sausage for us!!!!! The breakfast options were good. I would like that they would add gf options also.
I haven't even stayed here yet but I can tell you that their customer service sucks! I booked a room on Expedia which said it was a book now, pay at the hotel. I go onto my bank account and notice that I have been charged for the rooms 2 weeks later. I call Expedia, they have no explanation. I speak to Manny the hotel Manager who tells me that since the weekend I booked is a large concert weekend they told the 3rd party companies that they would be pulling the funds prior. I was never called and told this information so I paid my usual bills only to find I am now overdrawn on my account due to this error. I cancel the room, and told my refund will be there within 8 days (it is now the 10th day and no refund). In addition, I was charged 1 nights rate at the hotel for cancelling (almost $300). I call Manny again and told him that I should not be charged the 1 night as this was not my error and they have already cost me enough money between charging for the room and now my bank overdraft fees and basically got a "too bad" from him. All I can say is that my room better be perfect and I better not have any issues while I am there in 2 weeks because if I do I will be writing another review with pictures. And I can definitely say that I will NEVER stay at this hotel again!
Great experience. Brought grandbabies to the pool. Only thing was the hot tub was ou tnof service and the pool was too cold to wpswim in yet. That didn't keep the kids out if the pool though. Thanks best western
This is perhaps the worst Best Western we have ever stayed at! It is extremely difficult to access and there are no other businesses/restaurants in the area. It is extremely noisy and the building shakes when the trains rumble by right across the street. As Best Western Rewards members we were very disappointed that our reservation request for a 3rd floor room was not honored at check-in. The hotel is/has been in a state of remodel for some time. We cannot understand why Best Western would place one of its hotels in such a terrible location and then charge high prices to stay there.
This is a clean, comfortable place. The night that I stayed there a train would go thru about every hour and rattle the bed and windows. Don't stay in a front room! Food and service was average. Location seemed secure enough (parking)
It was a LONG drive from the bay area in CA. We got there and were checked in quickly. In fact, within 10 minutes, the kids were already with their friends in the pool. Our room was comfortable, the pool area was clean, and the cookies in the lobby were a nice tough. Breakfast in the morning had all we could ask for before a trip up to Zion.
Why oh why would anyone knowingly put a hotel right next to train tracks?!? A guess this is a great place to stay if you're a train enthusiast and like to see & hear & feel diesel locomotives pulling a load of graffiti covered freight cars at all hours of the day & night. In all fairness however, the staff is great room is clean, & breakfast well prepared.
I arrived late and tired and was traveling with my dog. The front desk staff modified my reservation to accommodate us. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the continental breakfast was on point. Def recommend!
The convenient S of the motel to freeway is so important when travel north, the rooms were excellent, comfortable beds, plush towels in bathroom, and the full spread of breakfast is amazing and so easy not to make another stop before traveling on. Everyone was very nice as well.
very nice hotel I have stayed there many times and will return again and will tell others to stay there also close to I 15 easy on easy off nice indoor pool and hot tub elevator is nice and is located in a good spot
While still under construction, the hotel amenities were spot on. The room needs an upgrade on the air conditioning unit and mattress but both were comfortable enough. Bathroom was completely redone but toilet needed to be better secured to the tile floor and the vanity sink was draining very slowly. We brought both items to the attention of the manager upon checking out and she thanked us. Breakfast was best free meal I've ever had. Food variety was vast and of excellent quality. Despite the ongoing construction work, the hotel was immaculate and in very good order.
Comfortable, efficient, total package Close to event we came for. My friend was impressed with breakfast as well. I will bring my wife next time. Better than casino atmosphere. Excellent for non gamblers.
Short stay everything went well with the hotel and staff. Just a one night stay for business didn't have time to experience much of the hotels amenities. I Would recommend for short trip on a budget..
This BW is conveniently located close to Las Vegas Motor Speedway where we were attending an event. The hotel is clean and reasonably priced given it's location. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Overall, this is not a bad BW to stay at.
fair service , beds old, sofa torn, hot tub did not work well and when it did it burned your eyes just to sit in the tub with the chemicals coming of of the water. work out room smell like rubber really bad. between train and Interstate and a lot of jet noise.
We stopped here on our way back to Utah. It was a nice quiet hotel off of the strip. But only a few minutes away if you want to go there. It was under construction in certain areas, but a nice property with a pool.
Dog friendly. Good breakfast. Clean. Pleasant staff. The walls are not super good at insulating yourself from unwanted noises in other rooms. But otherwise the rooms are clean and comfortable. The dog friendly room was in excellent shape considering. Highly recommended if travelling with a pooch.
Staff could use some training or be a little more considerate Most of the problems were with the staff. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere you have to drive just to get something to eat unless you want to have it delivered and pay extra.
Everything at this hotel was amazing except the bathroom door in our room. It was a slide to open that didn't fully close or lock?!? Not a big deal if it's just adults in the room but kids rarely knock. Otherwise stay was good, good quality breakfast
We certainly appreciate a clean, clean smelling, comfortable place to stay on route to and once we arrive at our destination. This Best Western Plus is an excellent example of that very thing. The only problem with this particular location was the weird access to get into the place. It is located between a railroad track and a fairly busy highway. The happy news is we barely noticed either since the insulation is very adequate. The most important feature is the bed however! This hotel had a wonderful bed and we slept so good! Room temperature easy to control and just the right amount of covers and pillow choices.
Good stay. The remodel lowers the rating, but will be higher when finished. Elevator is slow and had to be reset once while I waited. Pool is nice but debris from high winds made water look bad. Breakfast was Awesome! Best bacon and solid variety. Even had whipped cream and fruit toppings for waffles. Anngi at front desk was great and helped when my key did not work. Room was clean and shower had good pressure. Solid stay for the price. Will be better when remodel is done.
Spent 2 nights here. I expect much more from a BW and don't see how they have the Plus designation. The accommodations are worth about one third of the rates charged. The pool water was cloudy and the Jacuzzi/spa was not working. I was told 2 days in a row that they were getting the "part" to fix it tomorrow. The carpet is tattered and badly stained through out the hallways and in the room. I won't go bare foot at all. The grounds are sparse which doesn't help the feeling of being in an industrial area. There's no shopping or restaurants within walking distance
Our 2 night stay was enjoyable. The room was clean, the breakfast was good & plentiful, wish the coffee pots were kept full. We did have a difficult time finding the hotel, could see it from the freeway but couldn't find the access road. Took a few u-turns before seeing the small sign to turn left, the directions given to us via email from the hotel had us turning right instead. Planes flew over, traffic noise from the freeway kept my husband awake but not I. Tried to find the yellow pages for some local shopping, eating & gambling but there wasn't one in the room (not everyone has a smart phone). The hotel was close to visiting our friends who live in Vegas. Hotel was booked solid on Friday, we wanted to stay another night, put our request on file in case of a cancellation, as we were leaving we overheard another traveler say that he got a room because of a cancellation.
This is a nice, clean motel with a great hot breakfast - eggs, sausage, bacon, yogurt, oatmeal, waffles, breads, juice and coffee. Our room was large and comfortable although the window only opened about 3". Our only complaint about this Best Western is that trains roll through several times during the night and the tracks are right across the street.
The North Las Vegas Best Western is a little off the beaten path and in an industrial area that is a little inconvenient to get to. But is it good value for the price and certainly up to the consistent standards for the chain.
Really enjoyed our two night stay at this motel. It was easy freeway access and close to the Cashman Center where we attended TOFM. Breakfast was great with good attention to our needs. Room was nice, TV worked, pool was fun. Only problem was the noise of the train out front. I would suggest earplugs.
After staying mostly at the budget chain motels, my expectations for a Best Western are a bit higher. This property exceeded those expectations in most respects, and the few disappointments would not deter me from coming back. We stayed on a weeknight and chose North Las Vegas since we were headed to Utah the next day and had no need of the downtown casino scene. We had reserved at a suspiciously low rate, but as it turned out there was no cause for alarm. The frontage road to access the hotel is oddly laid out and I thought our GPS was wrong to take us in the exact opposite direction after we exited the freeway. But it was correct and we made it to the hotel, were greeted by a pleasant efficient receptionist, and were on our way to the room in no time. The room was adequately sized, furnishings were all in excellent shape except for creaky bed frames which really seemed out of place. No issues with cleanliness or maintenance. Plenty of lights and electrical outlets. The sheltered outdoor pool was surprisingly cold; even if unheated in Las Vegas I would have expected the water to be warmer. The whirlpool was similarly cool compared to the norm, and I'm somebody who thinks that the normal whirlpool temperature is too hot. We swam while waiting for our laundry to finish; those machines were very good as well. Back in the room the shower curtain rod was sagging but temperature and pressure were fine, and the towels adequate. The window curtains blocked light well, and despite facing the freeway the only noise that bothered me during the night was from the creaky bed frame. Breakfast featured plenty of choices including several hot items, but there was a surprising lack of variety in the pastry options. Checkout took a bit longer than it should have, and I was not asked whether I enjoyed my stay. So there are some areas for improvement, but for the price, location, amenities and overall condition of the property I would not hesitate to return to this Best Western Plus.
Friendly helpful staff, clean rooms and tasty breakfast and cookies at night. The only issue Interstate 15 on the back side of the hotel and rail tracks on the front side of property so very noisy. Also not easy to find
This was a nice hotel, away from the Vegas strip, which we wanted. Stayed before our flight home. It is a little difficult to find. Staff could not give us directions to the airport! They did print out mapquest directions when requested. Breakfast okay but not offered till 7 on Sundays which can make you rushed if you have an early morning flight. Overall nice stay, room very nice. Had a suite which was very spacious. Liked that you could enter bathroom from bedroom or living room. Great sunrise over the strip and mountains with full moon.
This hotel is very convenient for speedway visits. The staff are always very pleasant and breakfast is always quality. This hotel is close to the train tracks though so ask for away from tracks if you sleeper lighter.
The B.W. Hotel in North Las Vegas is very very nice for the $$ you are paying to stay there and has the most outstanding breakfast one could ever hope for. A plate of cookies awaits you each evening along with a newspaper as desired. Very friendly staff and very nice rooms. Close to fun & food! Try it, you'll like it !
Far too many negatives...for starters, room was booked through booking.com (which I will never use again). Room was booked as a handicapped room, which I did not need and tried to swap it for a regular room so that a person in need could use it. The front desk staff AT ALL TIMES were very nice, however, they could not issue me a regular room because they said rooms were pre-assigned. Odd, I thought when I arrived a couple of hours prior to normal checkin. The room reeked of an odor that smelled like feces. It was so bad I left for a few hours while they deodorized the room. Had I not been forced to pay for the room (an exorbitant $134), I would have left immediately. Upon returning to the room, the room did smell better, however, NONE of the major network TV channels worked in this room! I was anxious to watch some of my favorite shows and was HUGELY disappointed to learn that I could not. The evening front desk agent said that I should be able to get an adjustment to the bill when I checked out. Ray at checkout was super nice and explained that he could not adjust the bill because it was booked under booking.com. He also told me that the hotel manager would contact me. Had I been holding my breath, I would be dead by now. Other problems surrounded cleanliness of room (or lack there of). Dust and hairs that were not mine were found at the head of the bed. The mattress was like sleeping on a concrete slab. There was exactly 1 pillow on the king size bed. Later 3 more were added to the bed. General condition of the hallways and room fixtures was not impressive. I was turned off by the dogs roaming the hallways (with owners) and the obviously chewed carpets and woodwork. The location was also very isolated and undesirable. On a positive note, as I mentioned earlier, the front desk staff were very nice and the ladies in the breakfast area were very nice and accommodating. Overall, I was totally disappointed and will never stay at this property again.
We had tons of problems here. Room wasn't ready at 4:30 in the afternoon (other guests also left waiting), door lock wasn't working (took 4 trips to and from the desk to get it resolved), had to switch rooms, my kids said the pool was so gross they wouldn't swim in it, and the the guest laundry dryer didn't work after 3 cycles. I spoke with the manager (who walks around in a t-shirt and jeans, most others I've encountered look like managers) and he did provide a comp night for our troubles. The word I would use to describe the elevator is "sketchy." 1st floor call button didn't work and the door opens so slowly and noisily. The breakfast was pretty much the only redeeming factor here. Good options and the staff kept things stocked and organized. With several other Best Western options available in the area, I would recommend looking elsewhere. I'll definitely never return to this property.
Easy access to freeway, well kept property, suits all of my and my family's needs. The availability of the services made it special; we used the fitness center, the pool, and especially the Jacuzzi made the whole experience special. we all slept well, breakfast was top of the line.We always got parking next to our room which made loading and unloading extremely easy.
This hotel is back and around, over and under the streets, across from the railroad tracks, and a ways from food. But, the accommodations are excellent--clean, quiet, well kept. Staff is young, but very polite and efficient. We were stunned to get the executive suite for the price we pay other places for ordinary. It was larger than our apartment! All the rooms are spacious and well taken care of. And the rooms have triple or quadruple windows so the train is not a problem.
I work in Vegas and usually stay at a casino. This time I wanted to try something else. Hotel is confusing to get to and otherwise nondescript. It sits right on train tracks in a large industrial area. There is nothing within walking distance. It costs more than a casino during the week and the rooms aren't nearly as nice. Front staff was helpful and friendly. Even in that case it was nowhere near a casino accommodation. There wasn't anything (except the friendly staff) that would bring me here again. There are so many options in Vegas that are far better and cheaper than this place.
Stayed here end of August 2016. 2 nights and nothing but average. Room was clean but used. Attention to detail in the hotel was lacking. Hallways need to have carpet cleaned really bad. Lots of stains or spills that need to be cleaned up. Breakfast area small but was a decent breakfast. Didnt use the pool, or gym. Beds were comfortable and room was quiet but there are railroad tracks in the front and the I-15 Freeway is behind hotel. Not very conveinent to get into and no conveinences around. All business area no other hotels, stores or restaurants around. Probably wont stay again.
This was a great motel but we had a devil of a Time locating it. Although it was only point six miles off the interstate we spent 30 minutes trying to locate the correct Street upon which to get there, others voiced their same concern and we had plenty of company in getting lost. The signage is poor traveling there is all counterintuitive and a railroad line separates easy access from an adjacent Industrial Park. Super desk clerks and very clean operation however there is not a pet area per se and I had to walk quite a ways to let my pet discharge her deposit. TMK
Spent the night before picking up my son at the Las Vegas Airport and driving to Arizona, the room was clean and the staff helpful,.Its close to the airport, we had the breakfast in the morning which could be improved quality wise.
I have stayed here a number of times for travel there now and find it enjoyable and quiet and clean, which is saying something in that town. Its right off the freeway and the staff is friendly and warm. Thanks for another great stay on the property.
We recently went to Vegas for a family event and I used my points to stay at BW. While there I was upgraded to a suite and treated great. We did have to drive to the strip but we aren't huge drinkers so it was fine for us. I would have loved this hotel even more if we were able to use a shuttle to the strip but driving wasn't bad.
If you want a rest stop this is the place for you. It's located in an industrial park and there is no shopping or casino's across the road or in walking distance. Google earth! It is ideal for truckers. They do have complimentary basic breakfast (the eggs are from a carton) and complimentary water and snacks. If you want to sleep in you will miss breakfast which is from 6 am to 9 am. Be sure to call and inquire whether the wifi is working. The staff is friendly.
Overall a great find......Friendly staff and very good value based on the accomodations and complimentary breakfast. Confusing to find due to location near freeway exit that appears to have been newly completed and in a fairly noisy location....but otherwise a great pick for our road trip.
This hotel was right off the freeway and very close to the main gate at Nellis AFB. The hotel is located in an industrial section of town, but was still quiet and we felt safe. There are several casinos nearby. I would stay here again for business.
I wanted to stay off the strip in Vegas. This hotel was the prefect choice for 115 degrees outside. The staff was helpful and the air conditioning was wonderful. The hotel is located by I15 for easy access to the north side of Vegas, and just down the street from the air force base.
Do yourself a favor and stay here as a last resort only if you are unable to find anything else, noisy right on a railroad track, trains all night. Bed old and creaky, desk called room (awakened us) after 11PM to verify spelling of our name. ????? We paid with a Credit card and presented identification at check in. We never really were able to get comfortable after that.
Horrible customer service from this so-called manager Manny, spoke over me, rude, room was not expected and they overcharged me for my hotel. Would NOT recommend tis hotel. Don't book with Best Western
Rooms R clean, b'fast excellence, staff VERY polite, very accommodating, made us feel welcome. Accepts pets, we had a sm dog. We had RV trouble & stayed on a nite to nite basis. Management really worked to accommodate us. I highly recommend this hotel & would stay again! Shout out to Manny, Lauren & the rest of the staff! Kudos to "ALL"
We had to be in the north end and this hotel was ok, the staff very friendly and the hotel is clean. Ask to be away from the highway and the railroad tracks! Fortunately the air conditioner was so loud it blocked out some of the noise. We didn't have a car and there are NO restaurants nearby, but the desk clerk gave us a delivery menu from a fabulous Italian restaurant and we had pasta and salad in the room. They don't deliver wine, however. I was disappointed that although the air was over 100 degrees, the pool was set so cold I didn't want to swim.
But only plan to rest. There is no nearby restaurant that is open past 9(other than fast food), so anyone coming in from a long day of travel is not going to be happy. The staff was very kind and helpful, and the location to Highway 93 is very convenient for those taking a trip north from Vegas.
Good hotel, nice staff, breakfast could be better. Very far from Strip blvd or main street. The extra parking lot cost in these areas can be a problem. You better search for a free parking lot before plane your trip.
It is clean. Amazing breakfast! and best of all...amazing staff!! I highly recommend this hotel! only 15 min from strip! We found the staff to be just excellent and full of knowledge of the local area!
We were broken down on a Saturday afternoon and the Best Western Plus was booked. Had to stay elsewhere (the Linq) which paled in comparison. On Sunday we transferred here and was extremely pleased! The room was very clean, stayed very cool (105° outside the entire stay), railroad tracks could be noisy at times but we weren't really bothered by it. The entire staff were very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was good, lots of options. After our horrible stay at the LINQ, was very relaxed at the Best Western Plus.
Hotel is good and clean. Rooms are good and big. Location is near to Air port but far away from Las Vegas Main Street. From main street either have to take Taxi or need to walk for 25min to 30 min. Breakfast is free and food is OK.
This hotel is kind of out of the way, which was great, very quiet. Clean, good food and the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and welcome. I highly recommend this hotel, I travel and stay in hotels at least 3x a year with children, and this is by far the best. I will be staying here again.
We stayed one night (with our cat) and found this hotel to be extremely clean and comfortable. The room was large and easy to relax in. The hot breakfast in the morning was good as well. Overall, this was a pleasant experience that we would repeat.
Rooms are large and clean. The staff is friendly and the breakfast was good. Conveniently located a short distance to the strip. Only problem was the AC cycling on and off all night. Finally had to unplug it.
Excellent facility, easy freeway access, growing area. Room very comfortable, good for families. Despite appearance of an industrial area, it is VERY quiet! New Sam's Club nearby and other businesses. Staff welcomed my dog! Would stay again and refer friends because of the efficient staff. Check out dining options available on Craig Road.
Clean, friendly staff, comfy bed and a decent (not great) breakfast. More than met our needs. Appreciated the fact that the AC wasn't too loud, though I did tend to wake up when it switched on. The room was otherwise quiet on the 3rd floor. Convenient to 15 North.
We were on the third floor. When we arrived in our room luggage belonging to someone else was in there, air conditioning fan was so noisy you could barely hear the TV which kept cutting out anyway as no image was available, trains going by right in front of the hotel literally shook not only the bed but the entire room, the extreme noise from the train and fan prevented sleeping, computers kept going down preventing us from getting one for over 20 minutes, staff in the breakfast area spend the entire time on her cell phone which was not on silent mode so patrons had to listen to that rather than news.
I had water damage in my house. I had to say out for a few days, everyone at Best Western made our stay very good. I believe they had just changed management, and new management was great. They had carpets washed so made us feel even better. Rooms are nice size. Very pleased with the stay.
My husband wears a prosthetic and needs a shower bench. The woman was very understanding and took notes while I made the online reservation. When we arrived they did not have the bench we needed so she upgraded us to a suite with a bench in shower!
The property was OK but it is located right beside the train track and very noisy. The AC/Heating Unit is also very noisy with only one fan speed - on or off. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was good.
Its nice to come and find a place in vegas close to the freeway where you can rest and unwind for a business trip. The hotel is one I have picked multiple times, just this month and I can count on a couple more times each year as I travel there for work. The staff is helpful and friendly.
Location is far enough away from the strip and downtown that you can relax a little. Room 301 was quite clean, quite, and comfortable mattress. The free breakfast is good with a large variety. i did not check out the pool. I've read that you need to request a room on the opposite side of the train tracks. This would be the "odd" numbered rooms. I only heard the train when I checked into the hotel. The staff at the desk are quite helpful. You will need your GPS to get around in this area as the roads are restricted access to the highway. Wifi is a bit up and down from time to time.
Excellent location, close to I-15 but outside of the tourist areas. Hot breakfast, well presented and fresh. Location is a bit tricky to find at first. You must make the first left turn or you have to turn around and come back to Donavon Way in order to get to the Best Western.
Stayed here while our RV was being repaired. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Nice pool and exercise facilities. WIFI works well. Had to extend our stay four times because of breakdown and despite a very busy weekend the front desk managed to allow us to keep our room.
Really enjoyed my hotel in Vegas. A ways away from the noise and distractions of the city, yet close to the freeway for easy to get to location. Its rooms were clean and smelled fresh. I'll definitely be back to stay again.
We were here for the NASCAR races, great place, clean rooms, helpful staff, good breakfast. The lady serving the breakfast was exceptionally friendly, made you feel right at home, we would definitely stay here again. The location is somewhat out of the way in an industrial area, but not a problem at all
Nothing ends a busy day better then to walk into the front door of the hotel you're staying at and smell fresh hot chocolate chip cookies. This Best Western will have a plate of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and ice cold milk waiting for your arrival. I love it. The place is so clean and tidy. I recommend the hidden secret to all my friends!
I was in Vegas for training classes that were out by the race tracks so this location was perfect. Close to the freeway, and away from the craziness of the city of Vegas. WE were able to get a quiet nights sleep and be rested for our training classes.
My expectations were exceeded in cleanliness, comfort and amenities. The Continental Breakfast was also excellent. The pool was a little cool in water temp but nice. Would definitely recommend to anyone going to Las Vegas.
Not a bad little hotel very clean and well kept...would recommend and stay again..Just off the highway.. Restaurants close front desk staff really nice always greet you and say hello.. Pool area looks pretty good..
don't stay here they will rip you off. i booked a king room with hot tub and got a room with 2 full beds and they was not comfortable. i even payed extra to have the hot tub room. they said they was over booked. terrible way to rip people off.
I was very pleased with the room and the staff. It was clean, quiet, the breakfast had a good selection and the staff was very helpful. The location is perfect if you are planning a trip to the Speedway, it's only 8 minutes away. It's right off a main street that has lots of dinning. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others!
First let me say this hotel is situated in a weird location between the freeway and railroad tracks so it has a few noise issues. The rooms are pretty standard best western but for some reason have no fridge or microwave which was a bit of an inconvenience. The breakfast was good and the lady who takes care of it was so friendly and nice but she seems to be the only one. The manager was not friendly at all and acted like guest were mor of an inconvenience to him. We chose this hotel because of its closeness to the speedway which was great and probably the only reason we would stay here again..
Tracks right across the street from my room. Trains run all night. impossible to get a nights sleep. I can not figure why they picked this location for a hotel with out better sound proofing. The breakfast how ever was very good.
Great place to stay if passing thru and want to stay away from the busy strip. Great freeway access, decent breakfast, and restaurants nearby. If looking to spend more time on the strip plan on at least a 25 minute drive. Hotel is clean and well maintained. Staff were very polite and helpful.
The room is clean but... the hotel needs repair. The toilet lid isn't attached to the toilet. The WiFi is soooo slow that it's unusable. The breakfast is rather average. They try passing off tater tots as hashbrowns. I'd recommend some place else.
Only one night stay on business. A couple problems with the room, the biggest was the TV did not get the local channels. Most likely a TV issue as my partner got them in his room. My biggest problem was the location of this property. It is in an industrial are with nothing around. You will not be walking to anything. That, and the train tracks right across the street where the trains kept running all through the night, very noisy. The hotel was clean, good breakfast, nice rooms.
The place was.. How do I say it... Ok. The location is terrible. The trains on one side and the highway ramp on the other side. We got the highway side room. Twice that night I woke up because the truck was blowing a horn. The hotel personnel was very unfriendly, not rude, but kind of "why are you bothering me" attitude. The breakfast sucked. I can't believe they charge $100+ per night for this kind of experience.
This motel is very close to a busy rail road track. Trains roll through all night long. It took some getting use to but would not recomend if your a light sleeper. Other than the location beware there is no fridge for extended stays.
The motel is close to the freeway, and visible from the offramp if you are coming from the north, but the approach is tricky, because there are railroad tracks just past it, and if you turn right from the off ramp, you get on the wrong side of the railroad tracks, you can't get to it. I didn't hear any train noise. That said, price was competitive, breakfast is good, and there's a gas station the other side of the freeway that's easy to get to. So if you are traveling thru Vegas, and just want a nice place to stay, it's great.
I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, Dec 30th and Dec 31st. Before booking, i did not realize the hotel location is right next to the Rail tracks. We got our Dec 30th room (using points) facing rail tracks. Throughout night, trains were speeding through keeping us awake. For Dec 31st, we got new room facing opposite direction, so that was a relief. However on the morning of Jan 1st, hot water was unavailable! When i called the front desk, she said she has contacted the maintenance. No mention of how long it will take to fix the problem. Eventually the problem did NOT get fixed and we had skip our shower! It also delayed our entire day's schedule as we kept waiting for hot water. Also, on both days, anytime we go for breakfast, it was running short on food. On one day, eggs and potatoes were running low...the next day muffins/fruits were missing. There was only 1 person bringing in food and helping people. I would expect hotel to be well staffed especially on busy holiday time like new years. We stayed in Motel 6 at our next destination. Even though it was a motel, it exceeded in all aspects compared to your hotel and for 1/3rd cost. I really do not know why this hotel is Best Western Plus where it did not even fulfilled expectations of a motel except for the room size. This hotel was really unlike Best Western hotels where all my previous experiences have been great. I do not know why i paid $170 for a night to stay here.
Located in an industrial area but is the only Best Western around and it was an oasis in the desert. It was on our way back to LA and when we arrived it wa a breath of fresh air. Only stayed one night but we were well cared for.
train will wake you up all night long internet was not working we stayed for four days bed was very bad furniture was torn in the warehouse with trucks going by day and night nothing around it ,why would a smart person build a hotel here?
The industrial area wasn't much to rave about but the staff and their service makes up for it. The room was meticulously maintained and the staff couldn't be more welcoming and accommodating. For a place to lay your head at night, this Best Western Plus was perfect. The rooms are huge too.
Got there early and was not able to get a room on the preferred side of hotel, away from train track. Need microwave/refrigerators in all rooms, instead of lots of more and nice cylindrical pillows. Butter should be kept out during meals, instead of leaving in the refrigerator where it stays hard. Difficult to spread on toast.
Wallpaper in bathroom loose, it had been held together with tape (now loose), under loose wallpaper obvious mold, YUCK! Freight trains pass by 24 hours a day (less than 100 feet from hotel) shaking windows, interrupting sleep! Warn People before making reservations! Nice appearance of hotel, but I stay at hotels to sleep, the rest is secondary. Safety is next, mold is not safe!
Great Service overall. the location as far as how to get there not very good but it helps to be a easy rest area. The Housekeeping employees very nice they will always say good morning or Hi. I was very pleased with the service and the premises.
Loved the location & breakfast. This was a work group bonus party to the racetrack. Great location, close to the track. It was great to get up and have breakfast to start the day. Room was nice, staff was friendly and awesome. Very clean and the beds were comfortable.
This is a Best Western.......no Plus!! Rock hard bed, pillows no bigger than a throw pillow. Breakfast might have been good, but they were out of coffee, bacon and potatoes by 7:00, and they opened at 6:30.....disappointing. Over priced for location and lack of amenities.
I was not pleased with the credit policy. I booked the room for a friend and ended up having to provide all kinds of information up on check in. I would not recommend this hotel. They do not have a restaurant and are not convenient. I would not go back.
Hotel was clean, friendly staff, breakfast bar was adequate. Hotel was located in industrial area but we still felt safe. Near race track and Nellis Air Force base. Not a lot of nice restaurants nearby.
Trains all night long hard bed. Heavy room spray smell when I got home all my things smell like room spray. I called the day before and reminded them please don't spray room. The price is also to high for location.
Although the hotel was overall good, certain amenities need addressing. Satellite for TV needs to be upgraded, plumbing was noisy and the staff did little to control a youth soccer group that was running all over the place. On the plus side, the daily complimentary breakfast was really great!
My only complaints are it was hard to get to this hotel and not enough parking. We booked a beautiful suite that was large enough for the 6 of us with room to spare. There was a cute outdoor pool and hot tub but we checked in too late to use it. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic. Waffles with strawberries and whipped cream. Real scrambled eggs and saussge. Cold cereal, yogurt, Fresh fruit and great coffee.
While the hotel was adequate, its not somewhere I would stay again. Lots of aircraft noise from nearby airforce base, and a difficult place to find, even though its not far from the highway. Room lacked a basic fridge, and also the toilet blocked intermittently, and while the room itself was adequate, the vending machine ate coins, and didn't deliver any goods. When I complained I was informed that the vending machine was not operated by the hotel and that I would have to call someone else about it. Little things which added up to a bad taste, and frankly I would not stay there again even if it was $40 a night.
I booked a hotel room with one king sized bed, ended up getting set up in a room with two queen sized beds. Upon asking the front desk why that was, they said the only room available was with two queen sized beds. I proceeded to say how the reservation I made was for one king, but again they said that there is nothing they could do and that they weren't charging me for the extra bed. In closing, I was dissatisfied with the experience of checking in, the front desk man didn't inform me of the change in accommodations and seemed put out when I tried to get the room I requested in advance. The location is pretty out of the way if you are looking to be apart of the nightlife of the Strip, but is good if you don't want to be bothered by all the commotion. Getting there through the business areas and industrial park is difficult, but again if you are looking for a quiet spot this would be a great place for you. The lobby had a terrible smell, and upon checkout I was greeted by a homeless person wandering the parking lot which was startling. In short, this hotel is good for saving money and seclusion but bad for customer service, comfortable beds, and breakfast (unless you're into mushy eggs from a carton).
We were on a road trip from FL to Vegas to visit friends. I read some of the reviews and liked that the hotel was not on the strip. I didn't mind it was in an industrial area. What we didn't expect was how dirty the inside of the hotel was. Let's start with the positives: The area, no resort fee, free parking The morning staff were more friendly than the night staff. Negative: the lobby was dirty and torn up. The 3rd floor was smoky and so was the room. Thought it was non smoking hotel but when we looked outside not only was there a lot of trash in the bins spilling out there were also lots of cigarette butts. The room we received the first night on check in was the most filthy room I had every stayed in. I think motel 6 would be a better deal. There was nothing new and comfy about the rooms like some of the other reviews I have read. Where were these rooms? My husband and I got so sick sleeping in this room we complained to the morning staff who were very helpful in changing our room to a 2nd floor room. This room was much better and not smoky but the damage was already done. Since we booked our reservation on tripadvisor they were helpful to give us a refund if we wanted to check out the next day since we booked this hotel for two nights. No thanks to the night staff he had the personality of a tic. By far this is not up to BW standards
Excellent choice if passing through Las Vegas and not overly interested in the glitz of the "Strip." Many amenities nearby and easy on-off I-15 access. Suite is a good value for buisness. Pool is small, but refreshing, and outdoors, but shaded by overhang. Would highly recommend; N. Las Vegas location.
only needs to add microwave and ref in the room but aside from that everything was great :). i recommend this place if you are in the area.. the front desk person was so accommodating during our stay.
This hotel is located in an industrial area. The only restaurants are about 1.5 - 2 miles away. Check in was..... interesting. The guy was nice enough but he had check in customers backed up about 3 deep as he kept answering the phone - people check for availability. There should be another employee to help him and he should probably prioritize the customers standing there instead of the phone callers. The property is decent and the room appeared decent, mostly, but there were several problems. The bedside clock did not work, only some of the tv remote buttons worked, the tub had an ugly rusted hole near the plug and there is no refrigerator and no microwave which most places provide. We also saw ear plugs provided on the bedside tables. It became obvious through the night why they were there. About 200 feet away is a mainline freight train track that rattles the room throughout the night with passing training it seemed almost every hour. The AC unit was really loud, would run for 30 minutes then turn off totally. The on and off of the AC and the loud train noise made for a nearly sleepless night. The breakfast was fine. The chair the front desk person sits on is totally ripped up and should be an embarrassment for management. Lets put this in perspective... we stayed in hotels 9 nights on this car trip and this was the worst of them all. We will definitely look elsewhere in the future...in fact.... we may avoid other Best Westerns because of this place. I forgot to mention... the tub had a fold up ADA seat, which is fine, but this made it impossible to lean back and soak.... see pictures of things above.
Excellent property. Very clean. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. I was very impressed with this property. The location is excellent... just off the freeway. The breakfast was awesome! LOTS of choices! Very nice touch to have strawberries and whipped cream for the waffles. And there is even chocolate milk!! The rooms were comfortable. The only thing is that it would be nice to have a microwave and fridge in the room.
Great staff - Ray was able to let us check in early after a long nights drive. Comfortable room, nice 42" TV. Great location for our planned activity. We will plan on staying at this Best Western in the future.
I was planning to stay at another facility ,but it was already booked. I made a reservation at the Best Western North Las Vegas Inn & Suites North Las Vegas, Nevada. I was a little nervous ,because I had never stayed there before. The location was a little far from the strip in an industrial area. I was surprised that the room was really nice and so were the people. I was there to visit family ,so I didn't really have to worry about transportation. I would say that overall I had a good experience.
New and comfortable rooms, good breakfast, easy access from the freeway (though you're really lost in the city suburbs). Unfortunately, four or five heavy transport trains passed during the night, just across the road, making the bed shake.
The Best Western on Donovan Way in North Las Vegas is a good place to stay if doing business in the area or at Nellis AFB. The King Suite was comfortable and roomy with a fridge and microwave, and coffee. The wireless connection worked fine, and the breakfast was good with eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, in addition to the usual cereal and make your own waffles, etc. Be aware that this hotel is located right next to a busy train track and it can be noisy when trains go by. In addition, there may be aircraft noise from the base near by. Overall, a good stay.
