With the AC turned off and the refrigerator unplugged this was the quietest BW I've ever had the pleasure to stay in. I'm a light sleeper and had no trouble with external noise or neighbours. Our receptionist, Debbie, was very friendly and helpful and the pre-booked check-in was smooth and fast. The nearby Wingers restaurant was sporty, loud but served an excellent choice of dinner menus for both meat eaters and vegetarians. Breakfast is via a voucher at a Wingers and was very good. The room was clean, modern and functional. I have no complaints and would highly recommend for an overnight stop off on a long journey.
Overall a nice job on what appears to be a recently remodeled hotel that is an older style with no elevator. Only two issues I had is the bed made noise like the plastic cover was left on the mattress or a plastic mattress cover is used, my wife and I both woke up every time one of us would move or get out of bed. Also the mattress was firmer than other BWs we have stayed at recently and both woke up with sore backs. It is convenient to the interstate, very clean and quiet. They offer free breakfast items at the restaurant next door ( have not tried it yet), and offer a military discount on rooms which is nice. Overall, a solid choice if you're looking for a place to stay and like firmer mattresses.
Honestly, the nicest Best Western I've ever stayed in. New-ish wood furniture and paneling. MASSIVE 60" TV with premium cable. Floor to ceiling mirror. Double-doors to bathroom. Fantastic lighting. Pool, fitness area, mini-fridge and microwave. A/C was on blast when we walked in, whcih was great since it was 95 degrees that day. Comfortable beds and fluffy pillows. And most importantly, Noon checkout time as standard.
On my last night out of a 23 day trip, I splurged (a little) and got a room here. The room was very nice and although it opens to the outside, it is convenient to load straight in. I was looking forward to a good soak in the hot tub, but it was not working properly, so it turned out to be a warm bath. :-( I went to the Savoy Layne Steakhouse next door for dinner, but would NOT recommend buying steak there. For morning, the hotel gives you a coupon to Wingers which is a good way to get a nice breakfast.
Rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Restuarant and bar next door. Great place to relax and unwind. Just passing through on our way to Yellowstone. Lots of parking spaces. Lots of places to eat around the area
Caring helpful staff. Clean rooms and grounds. Quite and comfortable. Easy walk to Wingers. Great free breakfast at wingers. Convenient location to interstate.
Best Western motels. Always great places to stay at reasonable prices. Motel continues to be upgraded and is one of the best in the area. Staff is great.
We traveled with a group of limb different kids and left every day to go to Soldier Mountain to ski. It was a nice quiet place to return to each evening. The beds were really comfortable and had small refridgerator in the room to keep snacks and drinks.
Room 100 Best Room, it is the equivalent of a full 1 bedroom Apartment with all the amenities of home Literally.. complete with full kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom with 2 full size beds, the living room has a full size couch bed(pull out). Kitchen has plates, pots and pans, dinner ware you just need to bring the groceries and your own imagination, sparkling blue pool with a jucuzzi, washer and dryers $1.75 to wash and dry. Breakfast voucher for the restaurant next door.with plenty of selections. If your in need is snacks that's covered too, just a stone throw away from Chevron mini mart. Ok one more thing. Once you pull out to the road way make a left continue down the street on the right is a newly remodeled WALMART. Just in case that interests you. Very peaceful and enjoyable stay
While staying in a quiet town in the middle of the desert I wasn't expecting much but I was very happy with the staff and the hotel itself. The pool was gorgeous, and the included breakfast from the restaurant that's right there was perfect. It was also a great dinner and drinking spot choice. On a more important note, even though you are in a quiet town there is still a Pokemon Go gym at the hotel as well as more stops nearby! I'll be making another visit here within the next month or two and hope to get more stops and a route nominated as well, so look forward to those!
We were on our way home and decided to make a few more miles before stopping at our original choice. It turned out to be a nice change of pace. Being elite members we had the room upgraded for free. Nice perks. There is no elevator for the second floor so be aware of that. The rooms was nice and clean and very large. it was quiet even though we were close to the freeway. There are 2 restaurants on site but the one we ate at was attached to the hotel and that one also accepted the hotel vouchers for breakfast. Not a bad price for what we got.
We stopped her for the night while traveling. It was clean and fairly priced. They had parking for our 30' car trailer. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was easy to access food and fuel stations.
Overall very nice clean room and a quiet location other than a few truckers in the area. The bathroom was a very nice roomy area and the room looked like it had been upgraded from our last visit a year or so ago
Great Service. Very Clean and maintained room. Great parking and very convenient access to the interstate. Very friendly and helpful staff. Complimentary breakfast at the adjacent restaurant was a great change from the traditional lobby continental breakfast. I did think it was a little pricey for Mountain Home, and I am sure I could have found something cheaper, but we are back here tonight on the return trip. I asked for and got the same room that we stayed in a few days ago and I will stay here again on my next trip in spite of the higher price than I expected. (BTW the hotel next door is even a little more expensive)
Would have given 5 stars but the price of the room was high for this particular Best Western. Room was one of the renovated ones—really liked the look! Bed comfortable, TV large, bathroom very roomy & perfect for handicapped!
We were traveling to go skiing in Idaho. Nice quiet room in the back away from front of hotel. The breakfast is at a restaurant adjacent to the motel. You had several choices or could eat off the menu with a credit. Great breakfast.
This hotel was very clean and quiet. There was a great area to play ball with our lab. I liked having the restaurant in walking distance for dinner and breakfast. The sheets were a little itchy which is why I gave sleep quality a 4 instead of 5. But it was quiet and the beds were comfy.
This was a great place to stay. Stephanie and her front desk Staff were extremely polite and helpful. We enjoyed the comfortable bed and hot tub. The room was very clean. The breakfast was delicious. Yeah will will be staying here again, and we would highly recommend this Motel.
We had a lot of family duty to attend to while in Idaho and this hotel became our sanctuary away from the stress and noise. It was clean, safe and quiet. They allow pets to stay for an extra $30/night so we had our dog with us. We had a fridge with a freezer and a microwave in the room. This allowed for us to buy food from the local Albertson's. We worked remotely and hung out as much as we could and we found it very comfortable.
Booked my stay months in advanced for a local event. Then I added a day for fishing and ended up making couple changes. Front desk staff was extremely helpful in making my changes effortlessly. Upon arrival check in was fast friendly, our room was poolside and close to ice machine & vending. Hotel room (king) was large, AC working real well. plenty of hot water, comfortable bed. Next time visiting Mountain Home Idaho will definately stay at Best Western Foothills.
Our stay was only one night, but we were pleased with the room. The breakfast at Wingers was excellent. And the pool was so much fun. We checked in very late in the evening, but the registration clerk was very pleasant even at the late hour.
Sadly, we wanted to truly love our stay here however at the end of our stay we needed to replace our breakfast vouchers and Stephanie at the front desk would not replace them. Understandable that they would be trying to guard against someone using two sets of vouchers. However, as a manager you should have the ability to distinguish between someone who is hauling around a toddler and 7 week old and legitimately lost their breakfast voucher, and someone who might be trying to scam the hotel. It is poor customer service to let someone leave without the breakfast they paid for. There was no lee way in trying to discuss with them, and this left us with a bad impression of your service team. Very unfortunate, an otherwise pleasant stay can be ruined by poor staff choices.
We live 45 minutes away but love this destination in the summer to take advantage of their fantastic outdoor pool. If you are a Best Western member, you can request early check-in and late check- out making an overnighter a true 24- hour stay.
Love the place, but was very expensive. But I can't complain, I was able to check in 5 hours earlier to my room, and as a truck driver that is AMAZING SERVICE. But cost was 3 times the average hotel price I've previously paid. But loyal to best western for reward points I honestly didn't have much options other than staying in my truck.
Quick overnight stop driving cross-country. The service was exceptional. They had ample parking for our truck and trailer. The staff were accommodating and very friendly. The rooms were immaculate and the beds were so comfortable. We loved the outdoor pool and extended our stop a few hours just so we can enjoy it for a couple of hours. Would definitely stay there again.
While traveling through Idaho we stayed here for the night with our dog and had a great experience . Rooms are beautiful , clean and quiet. We loved it here . Staff was so kind and helpful. We had dinner at Wingers next door and free hot breakfast in the morning .
We have been loyal customers of Best Western for decades. Never again. Check-in at this property was a horror. The desk person did not how to process a $50 rewards credit and couldn't be bothered to try. An associate stepped in after handling two other guests and got us our room (we had booked directly with Foothills Inn). The associate finally was able to process the credit by calling BW Rewards. Check-in took 45 minutes. It also should be noted that one of the lobby's exit doors was locked (and probably still is). We will stay at different brand on our return trip. Best Western has a lost a lifetime customer.
We haven't had great experiences with Best Western in the past, but this was definitely an exception. Our standard two queens room was a nice size and very clean. The beds had extra blankets, which a lot of the even higher priced chains don't seem to offer anymore. We were able to pull right up to our door to unload. The front desk staff was more than accommodating. For breakfast you are given vouchers for either a free standard hot breakfast or $7.00 towards your check at Wingers next door. Laundry and fitness room are right off the truly beautiful pool area. When we were there it was only in the mid 60's but my youngest was in that pool for hours. (It is heated, but not that warm,) Lots of nice lounge chairs etc in the pool area as well. Our only complaints would be that the bath towels are tiny and that most of the pillows really need replacing, but that would not keep us from staying here again.
Great place for an overnight stay. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast had a lot of choices. Rooms were very clean. My dog was welcome an greeted with dog biscuits. Best Western is always my choice when available.
This is one of our favorite stops in the country. Anytime we travel this way we always stop here for at least one night. They have large truck parking, pet friendly, clean and well lit. Many places to eat within walking distance. Front desk personnel are very friendly and helpful. Pool area is beautiful, with guest laundry and workout room. Definitely in our top 5 places to stop in the country.
Pleasant and professional staff at FH. Their check in and out was quick and easy, the room was clean and comfortable. The front desk, housekeeping and manager handled a lost and found situation professionally and with sincere kindness. Will stay at FH Inn again.
We thought we were being put into one room with 2 queens and a sleeper bed. We came in late at night with our 4 kids late and night and were very pleasantly stories with a full one bedroom suite with an entire kitchen. It was nice and roomy and very nice.
Appreciated this hotel is taking all precautions during COVID surge. I felt very safe staying there. Staff was professional and caring. I travel frequently between Utah and Washington will plan to stay again.
Clean room, clean pool, good service. The breakfast vouchers for wingers were a good value. Parking was easy, even with our trailer. Easily accessed from the interstate. We would stay again. Enjoyed our stay!
We stayed in the Family Suite at Foothills Inn right off the freeway in Mountain Home Idaho. The room had a bedroom, bathroom, and a kitchen/living room. The fixtures and decor are very nice. The price was great for our family of six. There were two beds in the bedroom and a sofa sleeper in the living room. I believe there was also a twin mattress in the ottoman in the living room but we didn't need it. The swimming pool was beautiful with a waterfall and the hot tub was very relaxing. They gave us food vouchers for a nearby restaurant for breakfast that had a great breakfast menu but make sure you plan on more time to get your food. There were two nice restaurants next to the hotel.
The bed was uncomfortable (hard and "crunchy") but I was able to get a fairly decent night's rest. The television station choices were pretty bad . . . awful, actually. The shower was great, the room was attractive, the pool area was gorgeous, and the breakfast was delicious.
A very nice BW with two floors spread over a large property and a "Wingers" restaurant next door with great dinner food which served a hot served breakfast to hotel guests in the morning till 11am! Clean room and quiet bc our room was on the backside of the hotel. Staff check in and out efficient and quick.
This motel was over priced for its value. The room was obviously used for pets and not thoroughly cleaned. My dog was sniffing every surface of the room unlike any other hotel room we have stayed in. The breakfast is comped at the wingers next door. Very good food.
We were travelling between Las Vegas and Seattle, and Mountain Home was a perfect place to stay between the two. This Best Western is located between Twin Falls and Boise, and avoids the traffic and congestion of both cities. This is a nice hotel, with a very attractilve pool and fitness/utility center. It appears to be an upgraded older hotel, and the rooms, while being a bit older in design, are clean and fairly spacious. We had good appliances in our hotel, and got a good night's sleep. The Best Western morning breakfast turned out a bit more special then we realized; you get a coupon for 4 breakfast choices at the neighboring restaurant (Wingers) that is a VERY easy walk from the hotel. You can opt for a $7 discount on their regular morning entrees as well. We got the pancake breakfast, which was 2 pancakes, 2 slices of bacon, scrambled eggs and beverage, and it was delivered quickly and hot. It was quite enjoyable, and a step up from most hotel breakfast packages. We would stop at this Best Western again simply to enjoy this meal option. Another restaurant is directly on the the other side of the hotel (JP's), and we had a nice dinner at a very reasonable price the previous night. Overall this was a very good choice for us, and will now be part of our travel plans when we travel this route. Enjoy!
Reading some of the reviews for this property was a little concerned. So very glad decided to stay here. Room was spotless and the staff were excellent. Breakfast was provided by the next door restaurant and was very good.
Hotel we very clean, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They do not have breakfast at the motel, but give you a voucher for breakfast at the restaurant next to the hotel. We will definitely stay here again.
If you want a good nights sleep, don't stay here. It's an older property and the walls are paper thin. Had people fighting at the pool about 10PM.The water pipes are noisy and all you hear is toilets flushing and showers running. Couldn't wait to leave. I'll try the Hampton Inn next time.
The location was easy to get to. They are pet friendly and I am traveling with my dog. You do get a voucher from wingers for breakfast or 6.00 off dinner. The room was really nice and clean. I wish I could give it a 5 star but had an issue while I was checking in on April 25, 2021. I'm hearing impaired and do wear hearing aids. I was having a really hard time understanding the gal I even showed her my hearing aids and asked her if she could lower her mask so I could read her lips, she lowered so she could breath I still couldn't see her lips. IDAHO is not mask mandated she could have easily lowered it to accommodate me. I would think this would be an ADA violation.
Good quiet location and room seemed clean and comfortable. There is not an interior hallway/entry into rooms: Each room is accessible through an outside entry door which seems to indicate that it's an older hotel which has updated interiors. Breakfast was served at restaurant just across the parking lot and was tasty and plentiful! Hotel was slightly overpriced, compared to much newer Best Western hotels that we've stayed in, but I would probably stay here again as there were not many other choices in area.
We had a wonderful stay at Best Western Foothills Inn. Speedy check in and check out. Room was spacious and well equipped. Enjoyed our breakfast vouchers each day for use at Wingers nearby. I utilized the laundry facilities one day and was pleased with the fitness room and spa that are in the same room. The pool area looked wonderful, even though it is January and we could not use. Definitely would recommend.
Overall a good place to stay while on the road. Pet friendly which is always nice! Looked newly renovated. Next door to a full service restaurant (within walking distance) which is where you get free breakfast (did not partake). Two complaints: the pillows were awful and the sink drained slowly. I got maybe 5 hours of sleep due to poor pillows. Semi truck parking in the back which made me nervous as a woman traveling solo. This is also where I was told to take my dog to the bathroom, which I did not do.
The staff doubled booked our room and at 11:00 at night we had individuals trying to get into our room and banging on the door. The first time we went to the door and they had left. I assume they went to the front desk and were sent back because shortly after that they were back and banging on the door. If the room is empty why are you banging on the door? Why husband yelled out what? and I called the front desk to complain. When I told her we were in the room 209 and she told me that they don't have anyone registered in room 209.... !!! I asked her how then am I calling you from inside room 209? She then told me she didn't know and was trying to figure out if it was a mistake made by the shift before them or if it was them. I felt like I was dealing with an idiot so I hung up.
Super nice spot and a great value! It was totally worth the $10 extra for the poolside room! Made for the perfect place to call home while visiting my son in the Air-Force. Highly recommend and hope to return soon!
Room was very clean, comfortable and well designed. Staff was excellent. Breakfast was provided at the Wingers restaurant located in the parking lot and was good. We loved the jetted tub(which is why we chose to stay there).
We stayed here one night on our way home. We were given a voucher for breakfast at the Wingers restaurant next door, really good. We even had dinner there! The hotel has a nice outdoor pool which you had to schedule a time to use, no big deal. Bed was super comfortable. Lots of parking, especially if you have a trailer or big rig.
A/C couldn't be adjusted and I nearly froze. It started making terrible noises too. When reported, clerk wasn't concerned about a remedy to the problem, so I checked out after only being there for 6 hours.
very close to interstate was very clean people were very nice offered a breakfast meal or a discount at the local restraunt I would be very happy to stay there in the future i would like to bring my family to the area for a visit
We are driving cross country to move and help with an older relative. Of course we have our dogs with us and need to find a hotel that accepts. Best western foothills inn helped us in every way. Tile floors and large rooms were great.
Easy in and out, clean and quite with a better than average breakfast service included. We stayed overnight with friends in two rooms. We all thought the service and value of this stop to be very good.
We spent 3 nights here while exploring the local area. We were greeted warmly when we arrived and never interacted with the staff again until checkout 3 days later which is usually a good sign that things worked well. The rooms were comfortable and provided all we needed but nothing that made them stand out from any other hotel. The laundry facilities worked well and the wifi in the room was strong and reliable. Overall it was a pleasant uneventful stay. We would stay here again without hesitation.
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The rooms were a little dated, but over all good condition. The breakfast was good, but was outsourced at the local Wingers dinner. with limited selection. But I will defiantly stay here again.
The walls were so thin we could hear the guest in the room next door snoring. When they flushed the toilet it sounded like they were in our room - let alone the noise of the shower was ridiculous. The room was clean but the shower pretty small. The good part was the restaurant next door.
Great stay! Staff was friendly and informative. Room was large, clean and comfortable. There is coffee, tea, water and fresh fruits available in the foyer. A great restaurant is right next door serving pub food and it's very good! You receive a discount coupon for breakfast or you can put it towards lunch or dinner too but it's a better breakfast deal. Couldn't use the outdoor pool because it was winter but it looked like a nice area. Quiet and restful just off the highway. I would stay here again anytime!
Walk to great dinner and breakfast experience. WINGERS serves the complementary breakfast and is an excellent place to spend your evening. I appreciate the outside entrance for each suite and poolside is a real bonus. This is definitely worth including on a planned travel stop.
Room was nice. Employees were cordial and helpful. Was having Android tablet problem. They coached me through the process to get to success. Best deal was the hot breakfast at Wingers location on same property. Way better than traditional continental breakfast. Scrambled eggs, bacon, toast and good coffee. Sustained through the morning with tasty nourishment.
While doing a multi-day move with 2 large dogs, this was a great, convenient place to stay. Check in was pleasant. Room was very clean. Seems like all of the pet rooms were located together. I appreciated that if my pups would have barked, the neighboring rooms would have been understanding. We ordered our included breakfast to go from the restaurant next door. We just wanted some oatmeal to eat on the road. Staff was friendly. We asked for just oatmeal, but was also given yogurt, fruit, brown sugar and milk. All good, but we didn't need or want that and ended up throwing most of it away.
Made reservation at another Best Western for this one. Quoted price would be $116. for the night and it would be discounted 10% as I'm a BW rewards member. Additionally was told at check in to tell them I am a BW rewards member and I'd get the discount as well as credit for a free nights stay at my next over night as BW had a program of stay 2 nights get one free. Upon check in I was told the price would be $140. When I asked why was told the original price of $116 included my 10% discount and there would be a $20 fee for my pet. The last BW charged $9 for the pet...why the difference? Should be the same at all BW, rather it's $9 or $20, When I asked how to ensure I received credit for my free nights stay I was told to go to the BW rewards web site and it should be credited, they thought. Well to me BW staff should have been able to tell me that.
This hotel is about 40 miles east of Boise in the town of Mountain Home. The hotel is clean, loved the fact that the room had wood floors. It is very dog friendly and Connor was very helpful and friendly at the front desk. Loved the breakfast at Wingers next door, vouchers provided by the hotel. Only reason for 4 stars, bed was hard and you can hear water running from everyone's showers around you.
Nice place to stay right off of the highway, but with the faux wood floors not being mopped, they were still dirty as my socks gave it away ... breakfast at Wingers was wonderful!!! They did give us a ground floor room as we had our dog with us and that makes it so much easier for him.
We checked in for one night with our pet labradoodle on our way from Seattle to Jackson Hole. We were pleased that the room was very clean and everything worked well. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good at the neighboring restaurant, courtesy of Best Western. Our only complaint was that as a military veteran I requested the Veteran's rate, but was told it only applies if I am on military or government business? That seemed odd, but since the rate offered us was reasonable I did not make it an issue. Maybe that is normal but I had not run into it before at a fair number of stays at other hotels at that rate.
I was helping my daughter move from Salt Lake City to Corvallis Oregon. Driving at night, we decided we needed to stop for some sleep. Front desk was open at 1am. The clerk was friendly an helpful, even to the point of helping me find a discount. Check-in was simple and smooth. Room was nicely finished, clean, and well supplied with towels, soap, etc. We were up at 7am. Complimentary breakfast is provided by a nearby restaurant and was far better than most hotels 'Continental Breakfast. Then back on the road for us. Wish we could have spent some time exploring the property and the area.
We always end up staying more days than originally planned. Clean, friendly very quiet and restful. We always stop here when traveling this route. Big truck and RV lot. Pet friendly. Breakfast next door is always good.
This Best Western was nice and clean, pet friendly, and we'll appointed. They give you a breakfast voucher for the restaurant next door and it's great! I'm sure you'll be happier here than at the snooty Hampton Inn next door that serves waffles and probably has rooms about the same. Their not pet friendly! By the way, the Best Western only had a special amount of pet friendly rooms, just in case you're allergic! So, stay here, I bet it's cheaper and just as nice with a better breakfast!
The landscaping and pool with fountain is very nice and the weather was nice so that we could sit outside and enjoy our supper from nearby KFC. We enjoyed the breakfast coupon that we used at the nearby restaurant. Service was slow but nice that we could order off the menu and pay extra if we wanted. Rooms could use some updating and upstairs rooms require climbing stairs. The pool inside is new and nice. There is a laundry and workout area and hotub available also.
This Best Western property was one of the most enjoyable properties that we have stayed at in a good while. We got a pet-friendly room, and I was pleased to see the floor was vinyl flooring rather than carpet. The room was large and bright. This property didn't have on-site breakfast, rather they gave a coupon for select items at the Wingers restaurant next door. If you didn't want the select breakfast items, then the coupon was a $6 off coupon of anything on the menu. And the breakfast was delicious. This hot, made to order breakfast was so much better than the on-site buffet breakfasts that most hotels offer. The only downside to this hotel was the noise from other rooms. The doors do tend to “bang” close. But, once all the neighbors settled for the night, I had no trouble going to sleep, and staying asleep.
Easy access off the Freeway. Close to town and next door to great eating! Even tho you are close to HWY and FREEWAY, we had no sound issues at all and slept great. Tho we did not use the pool facility, it looked clean and welcoming.
Everything was great except the beds were extremely uncomfortable hope they can at least get a memory foam mattress cover to balance out the rock hard best...should be at least 3-4" topper...would make it so much more comfortable
I stayed here twice in 2 weeks while on a business trip. The first stay, our room floor in front of the fridge was soaking wet. I notified the front desk and he quickly and efficiently moved us to another room. The rooms are nice, housekeeping does a good job of keeping them clean. The beds slept well. I would stay here again for sure. The pool is beautiful, although could be a little warmer.
I love this location and the restaurants on both sides of this hotel are excellent, Have stayed here many times and each time has been excellent. The rooms are decorated nice, they are clean and comfortable and the staff are very accommodating.
When checking in was quoted $126.00, on check out billed 171.59, clerk tol me it was $140.00 including dog fee for a 8 pouynd dog that is pad trained, did not use facilities or towells and etc, but was charge was for $31.00 for (incidentals?). Clerk handeled this in a poor manner, so probably will use a different motel next time. as well as family.
Comfy clean room. Nice and quiet even as close to interstate and busy truck stop. Nice to have amenities like microwave and refrigerator. Lots of parking. Nice to have available free breakfast from Wingers next door. Will definitely book here again.
We stopped here for the night before continuing onto Craters of the Moon & Yellowstone. This is a really nice place and we had a quiet, clean room. The only issue we had is that the rooms doors are outside entries and we did have to park away from our room. Like I said it was a nice room with everything in working order. Breakfast is not at the hotel, but given a voucher for a set breakfast that has 5-6 options. It was very good and the service was terrific. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.
Came in with a large bike group and the hospitality upon arrival was really stupendous. They had snacks, fruit, and water. Most hotels might do a little something but this was really above and beyond. I thought the facility was also pretty nice they had a pool, with waterfall and a nice whirlpool tub which we took advantage of. The room was large and comfortable plenty of outlets.
We rented the room with the jetted tub and it was very nice and clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. They have a very nice outdoor pool. The free breakafast is at Wingers next door where you can choose between 4 meals plus a drink or get $6 off a menu item. I would definitely stay again.
Stayed here for an evening visit to the Bruneau State Park Observatory for some star gazing and planet exploration. This is great Best Western. We hung out at the pool all afternoon, and then the State Park at night. It was great.
I really enjoyed staying at the best western it was very quiet and comfortable , I will stay there every chance I get. The pool the hot tub the staff and the rooms were a great experience thank you very much
My husband and I have stayed here twice. We travel through mountain home at least once a year on our way to our daughters. Nice and clean. Friendly staff. So convenient. Right off hwy. Free breakfast at Wingers. Restaurant and gas stations all right there. AJ's restaurant next door for dinner. I hadn't made a reservation but I was so happy they had a room. We will be back.
We always stay at this hotel while in Mountian Home, Idaho. It is easy to get in and out of and the staff is always welcoming and accommadating. The breakfast next door at Wingers is really good as well. The nightly rate is reasonable too, as we come to spend most holidays with good friends in the area.
Checked in at this facility for an overnight stay.. Room was clean and fresh smelling.. bathroom was clean looked new or newly renovated. Next day we had a good hot Arizonian breakfast. There were choices available from cereal , breads, fruits, coffee light, medium, dark roast in regular and decaf, sausage, egg, potatoes etc.. breakfast room was small and it was full at the time we went.. Ask for non smoking room if you hate the smell of smoke. We d 2 rooms ours was ok but the other was not due the smell of smoke
The staff are amazing friendly and caring we had a last min change that we had to bring our bulldog puppies they gave us a great room and when we left they took extra time to change their water wash the food dishes and stack their toys thank you
If you're going to be near Mountain Home, ID, choose this hotel. It has a gorgeous swimming pool with a waterfall, clean roomy rooms, and a great restaurant (Wingers) just across the parking lot. We ate dinner there and the next morning used coupons from the hotel to have breakfast there. Both meals were delicious! All around, we were very happy with our stay at Foothills Inn.
We were on the second floor facing the pool area, which is gorgeous. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Our son and his family had stayed at this motel in the past and loved it. We were very pleased. Would recommend a room facing the pool on the second story.
My husband really enjoyed our stay. We loved our room. We could look out and see the beautiful pool. The staff was friendly and our room was clean. We felt very comfortable there. Our breakfast was at the restaurant next door which we really liked. We will be staying again next year on our way to our daughter. Its probably where we will stay every year from now on.
Traveling with a dog and this was a perfect room. Will stay again. Very clean, comfortable bed, coffee and tea in the room. Clean well kept bathroom. Breakfast was provided by a restaurant next door. We will stay again
We stopped here after a long day of driving and were very happy we did. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool, spa and fitness room were great, and we were happy with the complimentary breakfast the next day. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.
The pool with waterfall was beautiful and very nice after a long, hot day of travel. Rooms were big enough, beds comfortable, good a/c, and places to eat nearby. Wingers next door was a good place for a meal.
Room was clean, beds comfortable and grand kids enjoyed their time in the pool. They had a wide variety of restaurants to choose from nearby. The curb appeal of property was appreciated. The front desk people were friendly and helpful when asked.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Great quality control, management is always checking to make sure things are getting done up to standards. Beautiful pool and clean rooms. Would definitely stay again.
This is a very modern and classy lodging in the middle of the desert, a nice oasis when you are engaged on a long journey. The rooms were nice and cool. We rnjoyed good meals next door at Wingers. This is where we will stay next time we drive through.
Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Big, comfortable bed with nice linens. Quiet room. Hot breakfast choices. Great outdoor pool, nice laundry facilities. Very nice, friendly staff. Recommend without any negatives. You won't be disappointed.
As a truck driver I stay in a bunch of different places. Foothills inn In Mountain is a favorite. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. When I travel with my pet the staff even gives him treats. The rooms are very clean and the pool area is relaxing and comfortable. Can't say enough good thing about Foothills Inn
We were upgraded to a suite with a kitchenette that we really enjoyed. We don't oook, but we enjoy making our own coffee and that gets to be a bit of a spread out ritual. We think our check-in person took care of us. The outdoor pool was very inviting and we wished that we could have stayed to enjoy it. The HVAC was a bit noisy, but we were able to muffle most of the noise by shutting the bedroom door. An older inn, perhaps, but one that is getting current investment and freshening.
Clean and convince the property for our one night stop over between Utah and Oregon. Large parking for truckers but on end of building and not bothersome at all. Breakfast was a voucher for Wingers next door and options were excellent. Would definitely stay here again with dogs.
Rooms are not very big, but beds are fine. Rooms are quitely located at ground level, 1st and 2nd floor. This place has a nice small pool "inside the U shaped rooms", as well as a hot tub. We ordered pizza and could eat it at the tables next to the pool, gave a nice touch to a long day of our roadtrip.
This was the perfect stop between Seattle, WA and Salt Lake City, UT on our big road trip this summer. Right off the highway, room was comfy and very clean, and they offered a coupon for a free breakfast at Wingers right next door. I used the hotel gym to do my online workout, and although we didn't use the pool, a few couples were hanging out there chatting and looked like they were having fun! The breakfast was wonderful (although it took us a while to get served, as a tour bus from Canada got seated right before we came in) and we'd definitely stay here again!
This was a nice, clean property, the beds were comfortable, and lots of room around the sink are. The restaurant next door was a ways from our room and it was windy so we drove the second morning, but they give you 4 choices for your free meal or you get $6 off the breakfast menu. The deal comes with juice but the 2 eggs scrambled, looked more like one egg, and the bacon was pretty greasy. The sourdough toast was really thick and good. If you use the voucher, you may need to suppliment to be full, as it isn't all you can eat like most Best Western breakfast's are. We would prefer that to this set up. The pool area looked really nice and big, but it was too cold to use. I did use the indoor jacuzzi, it was an actual 5 person jacuzzi, that had 2 recliners in it. It was set at 101 F, but you could turn it up to 104 F, so it felt really good. It was a quite town about 40 minutes to Boise, Airport. Perfect for us to explore the area before we had to fly home. There were the Bruneau Sand Dunes and Snake River nearby to see.
Very comfortable and clean room, very professional staff, breakfast at wingers next door- very good if not a little sparse. Thermostat in room hard to adjust but maybe it was just us -- digital failure..
I had made a mistake on-line, booking a smoking room. The gal on the front desk was kind, and quick-thinking, enough to make a phone call just to "double check" and then smoothly arranged a non-smoking room and a cancellation (past the time) for the other. Very out-reaching and courteous. The room was a fairly standard double - queen, but will all the necessary features. Strangely enough, (or perhaps just smart), they had arranged for a menu at the sports bar across the parking lot for the included breakfast - although it was strange to be surrounded by a half-dozen tv's at b'fast. The dish we chose included pancakes, bacon and "scrambled eggs" - the latter in quotes because they were a long ways away from a chicken. These are the kind of eggs you find in some motel breakfast rooms - they fall into clumps, are dry, and cool quickly. I'm sure they are either powdered or a pre-mixed liquid. But the waitress was very efficient and friendly and I hope everyone tipped her as well as we did - she was working hard.
This was a nice comfort place to spend the night. It was tge first stop of our week long trip, do it set the mood for the rest of our 8 dsy adventure. all were satisfied even though we we not close to each other. We would stay there again.
The breakfast wasnt much. The hotel is right off the interstate, next to a truck stop, resteraunt and gas station. Lots of weird people staying there, noisy, and its an old style motel where ANYONE can just walk up and knock on your door. Didnt get much sleep. For $5 more a day we went to Bosie best western which was awesome!
We travel with dogs and have found the Best Western Hotels to be reliably suited to travelers with dogs. Western Foothills in Mountain Home was just so. There is a large parking area on one side that the truckers use for overnight but our room was around the corner and we were not bothered at all by truck noise. Our room was very clean with hard surface laminate flooring that I really like in dog friendly rooms. It just makes for a cleaner feel all around. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the room had been updated with new shower/tub surround and granite counters. The refrigerator did have a small freezer for our cooler packs which is important to note as not all that we stayed in did. Just ask if you need a freezer space. If the refrigerator is not equipped we have found the staff very helpful in supplying freezer space in the office appliance. We will definitely make Best Western our go to when traveling with our dogs.
First impressions were very good. The staff was fantastic and housekeeping was top notch. The problem was primarily with the location and room in general. I didn't care for the linoleum floor. At first, I really didn't think much of it considering the weather. It was only later that I found out it was a pet room and had nothing to do with the weather. The hotel is basically at a truck stop location off of I-84. The semi-trucks that were in the adjacent parking lot, ran all night. The people were equally as loud. The walls are paper thin and the toilets in the adjacent rooms flush with a roar. You can her people talking and their TV through the walls. The TV was dated, and was picture was no longer clear. The room coffee was terrible, but the lobby coffee was much better. The hotel does not have its own breakfast and you have to go to the adjacent restaurant. At first, I was put off by this idea, but it was actually outstanding. You get a voucher and its good for a free breakfast or $6 off your order. I found the breakfast to be excellent with plenty of food. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job and the room was always fresh and clean. Not a lot of choices in Mt Home, but I will consider a different hotel on my next trip.
I travel through out Idaho at least twice a week It always seems to me I end in Mountain Home. I look forward to staying at this particular hotel. The staff are great and now pretty much know me on a first name basis.
Clean hotel with great and attentive staff. Check in was very helpful and by the time we got there they already had the roll away bed in the room. We had a corner room so was a bit loud with foot traffic going past but room was very comfortable. Would stay here again.
Was a great place to stay. Clean rooms and the complimentary breakfast at a close local restaurant was very good. Staff was friendly and helpful. We will keep this hotel on our list to return to as we pass through.
The room set aside for pet owners was spotless and had a very welcome hard surface floor. No odor at all. Gave my dog treats at check in. Treated my dog as a welcome guest. Desk person was friendly and restaurant voucher worked perfect for breakfast.
When we drove in guys smoking in parking lot few others hanging around made it feel sketchy. After we finally figured out how to turn the air on it cooled off. It sounded like a jet taking off every time it kicked on. You could hear the conversations thru the walls. Not sure we'd stay here again.
My room was nicely appointed with an especially nice shower/tub insert. They managed to accommodate both short and tall with the nicely adjustable shower arm. The bed was comfortable and the parking lot was easy to get to. The free breakfast at the adjoining restaurant was very good and the hotel staff were pleasant and friendly.
Spent one night during a longer road trip and found the motel adequate for the purpose. Easy access from the freeway, with a pool and gym, washer and dryer, it offered quite a bit for the price. Our non-smoking room was very large, with a fridge and microwave, somewhat dark, clean, but with a clear cigarette whiff. The A/C was rather loud, but kept the room cool from the outside heat. The room was on the side next to the truck parking area, which turned out to be a noise issue with engines continuously running in the night and loud arrivals and departures at wee hours. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would probably stay again.
This is right off the highway easy to get too, rooms are nice service is okay and price is maybe a lil high for overall rating. Breakfast at Wingers is great and if the price was a lil less I would recommend it to anyone
I stayed 2 times within 2 weeks. I had stayed here a year ago also. The staff was Awesome ! Very helpful & friendly. The room was very clean and had plenty of necessities . The pool was a welcome relief , and the hot tub (although in a kind of awkward room) was nice & clean. They were in process of replacing all the workout room equipment. The bed slept very well and room was quiet. I will stay here again for sure.
I travel for work a lot and most of the best westerns I've been to have been very clean. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I always suggest a best western to family members looking for a nice hotel to stay at with great prices
This hotel is not exactly in a business district, it is a travel intersection. A nice hotel. New and clean. A cold night but a warm room. Fast free Internet. Free breakfast was at the Wingers across the street, which also worked well.
My husband and I are absolutely thrilled to find this hotel. It is exactly what anyone wants for a nights stay or longer. Price is perfect. Absolutely perfect every time we have stayed at this location.
The staff was excellent! They were very accommodating to all of my requests. The room and outside facility was clean throughout. I felt my car was safe place from potential theft. Will definitely stay again.
Staff was very nice and helpful. The room seemed old and definitely smelled like unwashed bodies. Would not stay here again just for that reason Might try a second floor room as their seemed to be a lot of workman staying near me.
Best Western in foothills Mountain Home Idaho I stay at this hotel a few times a week and it is a great Hotel very clean the staff is very friendly very comfortable I'm a truck driver and they have truck parking close to restaurants overall it's a really great place to stay
Have used Best Western as our choice of hotels for the past 11 years. No intention of changing. The staff at all of the Best Western hotels that we have stayed in have been professional, courteous and respectful toward us. We are thankful of the training that is given to them in dealing with the public, using their hotels as a "Home away from home."
Nice stay will use hotel again on next cross country trip They take pets for minimal charge and even have dog biscuits! The restaurant they have voucher for has the best bacon !! Good choices on the voucher menu or apply $6 to another choice
I loved the room here. It was very comfortable and had everything I needed. The hot water in the sink came on very quickly, something I don't see often. There was almost no wait for it. The shower was very nice, but did have a couple instances of colder water during the shower, possibly due to someone else using their shower nearby. I will definitely use this motel on my next trip to the northwest!
We enjoyed a comfortable, clean, quiet room. Wifi worked like a charm! We slept in and missed the breakfast on offer next door but did fine at the other neighbour's beside us. There seems to have been some recent work done in the parking around the building. We found it a bit awkward moving suitcases from our vehicle to the room because parking blocked the spaces provided. I'm not sure how to repair that. I can see it being a huge problem in winter weather. Luckily for us, the weather was warm and the ground was bare.
Room was clean but had an odor. Was a pet friendly room but I don't think they should smell if cleaned on aired out correctly. The breakfast was at the restaurant next door and we had to ask for vouchers for our second night.
I am a truck driver and I appreciate the large parking they have in the back. There's a good restaurant next door at across the street. The rooms are comfortable quality of towels betting's Linens For All satisfactory. Hotel staff is very accommodating and very friendly. This is my second stay and if I go to that area again I will probably stay there again , thank you.w
I made these reservations a few months before I traveled. I looked online at the pictures of the hotel before going. The pictures were exactly as what was there. No photo shopped done. The rooms were spacious, actually quiet for being near a main hiway. All the accomidations needed were there, towels, soap, shampoo, hairdryer, iron, ironing board, wifi, television. Everything to be comfortable. The staff were off the chain on being so friendly and extrememly helpful.
The hotel was clean and the rooms big enough. Pay attention while booking: A standard room here does not mean it is a non smoking room! You need to book a non smoking room if you dont want a smoking room. Other than that the AC in the room was pretty loud and blows right over the beds which is not so nice. Breakfast is served in a restaurant next door which was really good.
My boyfriend lives 2 hours from me and we decided to meet half way to celebrate his birthday. The staff decorated our room with banner and balloons and brought a cake in I had bought while I took him to dinner. He was surprised. We had a great time. It was the second time we had stayed at this place and the second time we had an easy check in, clean room, complimentary meals at Wingers and a great time
This was our home away from home for 5 days. The staff went above and beyond for us. I can not find anything wrong with this motel. There was a pool that looked very clean, but it was too cool to get in. The scenery around was beautiful.
After a lot of driving and visiting Craters of the Moon Nat'l Monument, it was wonderful to arrive at this hotel and find such wonderful accommodations. The staff was super friendly, the room was clean and roomy, and the poolside view was fantastic. We had a great, restorative stay and would definitely stay here again.
We stay here every time we pass through Idaho which is 3 or 4 times a year. We are always welcomed and the free breakfast at the nearby restaurant is a great perk. There is good parking for our truck and large trailer. This is a very convenent place for getting off freeway as well. We will be back.
We got so lucky finding this place. The price was great and the room was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They give you a breakfast voucher for the restaurant next door. It was fantastic!
We have stayed at a few different Best Westerns over the years and not very fond of them but this one is the best. Spacious rooms, desk for laptop, plenty of outlets. clean and nice local. We chose this as it was rated the best in Mountain Home and it was. They gave you a voucher for breakfast at the nearby restaurant. Its was close and walking easy as it was right next door. You could pick off the special menu or get $6 off anything on the menu. They did have an expertise room but I only checked it out and looked OK at best and they had Laundry room in the same room as exercise room.
Spent one nite here on a road trip to Phoenix. Had a pet-friendly room that was very nice. Very spacious and clean room. The staff was friendly. The pool area is beautiful. Would stay here again and recommend it to others.
Breakfast is a coupon w/ discount at Wingers so this is a nice touch! If you're a golfer, this location is very close to Desert Canyon Golf Course so you can take advantage of that. Gas station (Pilot) is right across the street so that is very accessible.
Extremely clean and welcoming for ua and our two dogs. Loved the laminate flooring in case of an accident (no accidents occurred) Good breakfast deal next door, we used it for $ off on dinner and ample parking for our truck and trailer. Highly recommended.
We had expected better acommodation at a Best Western than we got. The walls permit noise and conversation to go right through. Beds, room and cleanliness as always fine. Not willing to discuss the discounts you get elsewhere at BW: AAA, senior etc.
This BW has the look and feel of being recently updated with clean rooms and is priced well. The coffee in the lobby plus free breakfast vouchers at Wingers are a welcome feature. The location is conveniently located just off the interstate and has Wingers restaurant across the parking lot.
Patrons of this motel have to get their breakfast at the next door restaurant and only a very small breakfast is offered for free (e.g. biscuits and gravy with beverage). You also feel obligated to provide a tip which covers the $6 breakfast that is considered free. I think most people would want to purchase more for their breakfast, which means this isn't really a complimentary breakfast in the end.
We had an Excellent stay at the Best Western foot hills hotel in Mountain city. The room was clean. Spacious and comfortable. Gave us vouchers for breakfast at a diner next door. I prefer that over the breakfast the hotels offer themselves. In all had a very good stay at the hotel.
All the staff were extremely friendly. The room was clean. Amenities excellent. I wish I'd had time to use the pool -- it looked great (and clean). Food tie-in with nearby restaurant was gret. Overall a really excellent experience.
Great check-in even though the lobby was hopping. Quality staff who cared about our experience. Really enjoyed the pool aree. Nice shallow area for the younger grand kids. Didn't have a workout room which was the only disappointment. I believe it was mentioned that there was one, but there wasn't. Enjoyed the breakfast which was offered at Wingers which is the adjoining property. Rooms were quiet and comfortable. Check out was seemless... Great!!!
All the staff members in the lobby were very outgoing and friendly. The room (double queen beds) was spacious with a table and a small desk. The pool area is great with its mini waterfall, plenty of room to lay out.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Breakfast was in a different location though walking distance. We enjoyed our breakfast there. Over all I would absolutely tell any one to stay here, whole experience delightful!
I recommend this to all who fined themselves on HWY 86 and weary of the road. One great place the pool is fantastic, room clean and comfortable and the staff very good. Having Wingers do breakfast is a great idea, its a win for both businesses.
As an unusual heat wave swept across the West, we were able to relax in a cool, comfortable room. It has very convenient to have so many dining options nearby. We especially enjoyed the included breakfast.
Trip advisor is a major rip off. Charged my credit card at the time I booked my stay, then was told that there was no record of the charge and was charged a second time at the time of check in. You are thieves.
It was a hot day and I was riding a motorcycle so I stopped and relaxed in the pool and had a great dinner at the Wingers restaurant next door. Wingers also provided fresh cooked breakfast for the hotel.
If you have lil ones, this hotel is not for you. They cater to an older demigrapgic in all aspects. The hotel has a couples/singles resort vibe going on. From the tv stations offered, to food for breakfast offered;that is not technically included. To slow/disconnecting intenet service. Overall I do not reccommend this property.
staying here was a good experience. no problems, however had very bad experience with best western in burns or. waited 20 minutes while check-in female named Fayllinn took unending phone calls, reserving the remaining rooms so there was not a room available when she finally asked me what I needed.
I was thoroughly disappointed with the service of this hotel in getting my wife and me in the room. The house keeping staff did help us to get our belongings up the steps to the second floor room that was at the end of the hotels outside entrance to our room.
Stayed here one night. The property was clean and staff were friendly. Had a first floor room by pool which was a mistake. Room was on the dark side and a lot of noise from pool area and kids above. Staff did adjust our bill upon checkout. Breakfast was next door and was good. Pool is on the small side, but we would stay again as they did try and make thing right.
It looks to be fairly new. Free HBO is nice. Lots of places to eat around it. My complaint is with the extremely noisy AC. It sounds like an 18 wheeler is idling in the room. However, as I write this at 9:30pm there is a very loud party happening at the pool and the AC mostly drowns out the noise. It's going to be a long night. I'm not happy being here. AC cycles on and off, when it's off I can hear the party and when it's on I hear the very large truck in my room. And I forgot my ear plugs. It's room 208 if management ever reads these reviews, go check it out. Next time I'm checking the AC noise level before I unpack and asking to be moved to another room if it's too loud. AND should have asked to be away from the pool. I'm hoping maybe there's a time curfew for the pool area.
This hotel is great, clean modern rooms, friendly helpful staff and a great pool. Dinner and breakfast next door and hotel supplied coupons. I recommend. As I said, This hotel is great, clean modern rooms, friendly helpful staff and a great pool. Dinner and breakfast next door and hotel supplied coupons. I recommend.
This hotel has two floors, some with direct access to the parking. I asked for such a room and got one. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. I could get wifi on the iPad but not on the iPhone unless I went closer to the office. The pool is outdoors so that has some limitation. A restaurant is located on either side so you can walk. In fact the breakfast is in one of them. Laundry service was not working and this is one that should be fixed immediately as some travellers require this service. I had a good sleep.
They had the best shower I have ever had in any motel/hotel. HOT water and great water pressure. Room was large and very clean. Sink is on the outside of bathroom so easy for everyone to get ready in the morning.
Stayed here one night on the way west and would have stayed again on the way home except there were no "pet friendly" rooms left. Pet friendly here means no carpet and along the backside of the property, where the only place to walk dogs is across a large gravel parking area and along a weedy edge. Frankly, not the 'friendliest' of pet places, although they did give us milk bones and a poop bag when we checked in. Room was clean and spacious, pool and hot tub are great, breakfast at bar next door was so-so, not at all 'free' and kind of weird to be eating in a bar first thing in the morning. We would stay here again ... but it was no great loss to have to stay in Boise instead.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool was great and the staff was friendly. The free breakfast was good also. It's at a restaurant next to the hotel. Ordered pizza from Fattyz. Good and cheap.
Traveled from Oregon to meet friends from Utah. Kids swam, had dinner and a sleepover, got tattoos in the morning and parted ways to get home. Fast trip. Hotel staff was amazing. Rooms clean and best of all COOL on a 100+ degree day. Swimming pool and hot tub were clean and the kids really enjoyed the rock wading pools along the edge of the pool. Parking was easy and breakfast was a voucher for 1 of 4 breakfasts served at Wingers for free. You could get anything form the menu and the voucher would be a $6 coupon off your meal. But we just ordered from the voucher.
I had no reservation and arrived fairly late in the evening and the staff were very helpful and extremely pleasant. The room was excellent and the bed was very comfortable. Would stay there again, without hesitation.
We stayed at this Best Western when traveling on day 9 of 10 of a family road trip. We used all the amenities including the pool, spa, laundry, fitness center, breakfast, wifi, lobby, and hotel room. All of these met and exceeded our expectations. The pool area is outside and was awesome - different from all the other hotels we have stayed in. Our kids are ages 3-13 and it was perfect for all 3 of them. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I think my only complaint (if I had to have one) would have been to increase the hot tub temperature a few degrees, but that is only because I like it hot.
The place is great with the exceptions noted above. My room was on the back side. The Wi-Fi signal wasnt there. Needed to do laundry. One dryer was broken. We used the other. We had better success drying our clothes on the pool chairs and hanging the from our motorcycle.
Really pleasent motel situated in a handy position. Enjoyed a nice stay and was very happy with the standard of my accomadation. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the whole motel was kept very clean and tidy. Would happily stay here again if visiting the area.
If your passing threw or here to see the area. Your at the right place there nice and helpful. There good food in the area and great parking if you have something big. I have stayed here for the past 6 years always a great stay and good night sleep. The great work out room and a pool ready for the hot summer.
We had driven about 700 miles and we were trying to find a hotel in Twin Falls / Jerome ID area ... we found out that all were sold out because of some sporting event ... We had no other choice but to drive another 40 miles to Mountain Home ID. Well we were very pleased we did. They were so friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The room was great and bed was fantastic ... just made the whole trip ... Thank you and we will stay there again when we travel through Idaho.
One night stay over. Had a small dog. Room was okay as a pet room and did not smell like a kennel. Shower was a little weak but I only stayed one night so it was okay. I would stay here again if I am traveling this way.
We chose the 'apartment' because the staff said it had two queens, a sleeper sofa, an ottoman that could be converted into a twin bed, and a euro lounger. In reality, there were two FULL size beds, a sleeper sofa with a 'mattress' that was torn and stained (and no sheets in the unit), and the ottoman's mattress was unusable. In addition to the inadequate sleep space, the AC was not working well and had not been turned on so the unit was hovering around 90 degrees when we entered. The idea of having an apartment at this location is a good one .. in theory. When we reported the issues with the AC and sleeping arrangements, the staff was apologetic but made no efforts to offer a solution or a discount. The breakfast at the restaurant next door was outstanding!
This is a nice hotel no frills but very clean and comfortable. There is a nice outdoor pool to enjoy on summer days and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I used my reward point to enjoy a free night stay and would encourage people that stay at BW to take advantage of this awesome perk!
Check-in was quick and easy and the central booking office had gotten our reservation mostly correct. There was a couple of problems with the room. The floor in vanity area hadn't been swept or vacuumed and the outlet near the bed was bad. Other than that it was good. Wi-Fi worked well and there is a huge parking areas out back for semis, RVs, U-Hauls etc. Lots of places to walk the dog as well. There is a Wingers restaurant on the premises so you don't have to leave the premises to eat. The room had some kind of automated AC/Heat unit that didn't have a "Fan Only" setting for "white noise" so there was outside noise, even in the back of the motel.
Stayed here on my way home. Arrived late and staff was very nice. I had booked through an online site. The online site had placed me in a smoking room. It was easy to change, no greif. Room was clean and comfortable. There is a pool and breakfast at s restaurant, next door.
We were very happy with every aspect of our stay at the Best Western Foothills property. Check-In went smoothly; the room was ready on arrival and clean; service was first-rate overall. The location was convenient to our route and the breakfast was fine. We would recommend it.
They need to work on check in process. My room was comfy but felt that it was overpriced. Staff was nice. My company gives Best Western a lot of business so I wish they would have worked with us on our unique situation.
This hotel is clean, modern and quiet. It is just off the freeway but not next to it. The room did not have carpet, yea! We knew we were surrounded by a group of young males and thought we'd have a noisey night but we did not hear a thing. Excellent soundproofing. We were on the ground floor. We requested to have the ability to be able to see our Spyders parked out side of our room when reservations were made. It was honored. Towels were thick and plentiful. I would stay here again in a heart beat.
Last night on vacation, heading to Portland Oregon from Yellowstone. Great middle to stay overnight. Easy on/off I84, close to fast food or restaurant and gas. Friendly and professional check-in. Reasonably priced room, 2 queens non smoking, bottom floor. Parking outside of room. Too early for pool but grounds around area were nicely landscaped. The room was large, well kept and well equipped. Fridge, coffee maker, clock, microwave, flat screen TV plus nice table with two comfy chairs. Beds were firm and comfortable with 4 pillows each. Separate closet area, nice soaps. Tub was nice sized with great shower head. Breakfast provided at restaurant next door. Set menu or $6 off any menu item. I had Trash Hash made fresh at restaurant...huge portions. They make their own Huckleberry syrup and it was wonderful. Will stay again on next trip.
The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The hotel was so clean and the views from the hotel were absolutely gorgeous. This location is convenient to the nearby AFB. Complimentary breakfast was included.
The staff was extremely helpful and wanted our stay to be perfect. The property was clean and room clean. We received a voucher for breakfast at Wingers next to the hotel. The food and service was excellent. We went to the State Territorial Museum which was near our hotel.
Very professional, friendly, and helpful staff. Clean comfortable room and bed. Easy to get in and out . Well lighted and parking easy for smi trucks, and over sized vehicles, Close to dinning, and fuel.
This was a good renovation of an older facility, it has good use of color, comfort and sound rejection of outside noise. Staff was excellent, caring, and helpful. The room was clean, functional, quiet, and we got a good nights sleep.
Nice clean rooms, great staff, only complaint, no elevator which is tough for seniors with bad knees to carry the luggage upstairs and was not notified in advance that there was no elevator. No 1st floor rooms available, should be told at booking time.
Had been traveling through the area when it was dark and unable to see area traveling anymore we stopped. They had a great room, food next door, spa, wi fi, all that we took advantage of. Staff helpful and kind and also professional.
They employees here were helpful and always friendly and out going. Made me feel at home while I was her for over 3 months. Had great food at wingers and the employees there were great too. They even go out of their way to assist and are very friendly.
We have stayed at this motel several times over the years. It's very convenient for our travels. The service is always good. The amenities that we use - pool and hot tub and well kept. We will continue to stay here whenever we are passing through the area. Very comfortable rooms and in a very convenient area.
Internet was slow and timed out every 20 minutes. TV reception was grainy on most channels. Free Breakfast was at an offsite restaurant. You could hear the shower and toilet flushing from other rooms. Definitely not worth $98 plus per night.
Traveling with small dog, so was placed in 'pet room'. This is usually the purgatory for paying for other people's pet sins! 'Cody', the very nice, young front desk attendant said, the only difference with this room is that it has hard wood floors, same quality room, but floors that house keeping is happy, and better able to clean. And he was right! The room was tastefully updated with stone counter tops, light fixtures, shower, etc, and enough plugs for all your electronic charging. Hotel was well maintained out side, also. No chipping paint, or oil spots on the sidewalks, well swept. Each room well lit and marked with a nice placard and welcome mat. The grounds surrounding this hotel were thoughtfully done. Nice landscaping and green spaces, and 'buffer' zones between your hotel room door and the parking lot! No running into someone's bumper as you enter and exit your room! We do not use Best Western hotels, but this is going to change!
Well located for Out door adventures. Good road travel gets you into the South Fork Boise river. Continue east to Haley and Sun Valley recreation area. If you are on your way to Yellowstone the Best western good on your way stop. Wingers is a favorite for a good meal.
Big room - clean & OK. No elevator, so check on availability of ground floor if stairs are a problem for you. Staff was OK. Location was convenient, near Interstate 84 and easy to access. Overall it was a pleasant, but not memorable, stopping place.
Relax by the outdoor pool area. Not your standard square pool. Water fall on one end. Outdoor bar-g-q if you want to use it. Room doors open to outside. All king bed rooms are upstairs except Jacuzzi room. You get a food voucher to Wingers which is right next door. Not much to do around as far as touristy stuff but a great place to break up a long day.
Great place to stay on Interstate 84. One of the best Best Westerns I've been to. Staff was very helpful at check-in and check-out. Very pleasant experience overall. Although we didn't use it, the pool area is beautiful. Thanks!
This was an excellent facility. The staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and modern. We only stayed one night, but I would stay here again if in the area. There are no elevators so be prepared to climb stairs if staying on the second floor. Highly recommend.
I won't stay in a hotel with outside corridors again. Too loud in the room. Very low water pressure in the shower. No place to walk dog, except through gravel parking lot to weeds behind the hotel. Didn't have a breakfast buffet, but at least voucher at restaurant next door covered most of cost.
The hotel beds were comfortable. Two chairs and a table made for a nice snack area. However, the set-in shower stall was very low. If you are over 5'10", this is NOT the shower for you. No elevator to the second floor, as we were told that hotels with less than a hundred rooms are not required to have an elevator. The lobby did not have a guest bathroom, which could be inconvenient to those who have traveled far. On the day we were there, neither of the two guest computers was functioning, which was quite inconvenient. There is no breakfast area. They give you a menu of six specified choices, which you take to the restaurant across the parking lot for breakfast. There are coffee pats in the lobby. Not much reason to stop here unless you are heading for the AF base.
The building, the grounds, and the furniture are getting old. There were flies in the room last time I stayed there, and it was not clean. Really used to be nice here, but now it's a last resort for a resort. The management did try to make things right, but after a day of traveling all you need to see is poorly kept room.
The Best Western was nice. Our room was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Although we much prefer the breakfast usually offered in-house at Best Western, the breakfast at Wingers was adequate. Our server was friendly. We had dinner the night before at Wingers. The service was poor.
Rarely do I give "10s" across the board for an overnight stay in a motel/hotel or even B&B; however the Best Western Foothills Inn in Mountain Home Idaho is well deserved of our accolades and perfect 10 score across the board! We travel with 2 dogs and pet rooms in most hotels, Best Western's included, always leave us feeling the carpet flooring wasn't cleaned very well. Just watching our dogs sniff so intently lets us know! But our pet friendly room at the Foothills Inn was spotless and perfectly clean without chemical cover up odors. And our room has hard surface flooring in the pet friendly room: BRILLIANT! Hard surface flooring can be cleaned effectively whereas carpet not so much. Additionally the room we had faced the large rear parking lot and NOT the highway/freeway. And thus landed us an incredibly quiet sleep all night long.
Just off the Interstate, and away from that noise. Finally called the Front Desk to ask that they quiet the children playing in the pool, which they did. Finally able to sleep. Ask for a room away from the pool.
Tired, tight budget, decided to try a Best Western. Long line of people checking in. One lady at the desk, very professional. A man came in whining like a baby, 4th time his card didn't work in his door, very rude in front of many customers. I told him to quit carrying next to his cell phone. She took care of him very respectfully. Gave me a room for $60.00. Very nice room. Treated every customer as if they were the only ones in there. They gave us complimentary breakfast coupons for a very nice restaurant adjoining hotel. Highly recommend if in the area.
I found the room clean and fresh. I travel with my dog, and like the wood floors in the pet room. It helped the room smell fresh. the staff were all very helpful and kind. The staff were helpful and very kind. This hotel offered breakfast at a restaurant next door, the food was very good.
The carpet was so dirty our feet were dirty. There were men smoking nasty cigars poolside and the smell was everywhere. Room next ours people and kids were loud at 11 PM. We were not offered any kind of discount.Bed was so hard we got up at 4AM and left.
Clean rooms, comfortable bed, easy to find. Staff (Kim) very helpful and pleasant. No room for the traditional complimentary breakfast in the lobby so they give you a voucher for the restaurant next door, (easy walking distance if you have medical issues or are elderly) Wingers had amazing food! BEST OPTION EVER!!
We traveled about 500 miles that day and wanted a motel with a nice room, comfortable bed, and a pool if possible. We were lucky to get a room without a reservation. the motel met and exceeded our expectations. The staff was very friendly and professional. We hop to stay there again on our way home.
It's a nice motel. All the entrances are on the outside but inside room isn't any different that a standard hotel from best western. Staff was very nice and professional. They give you a food voucher for breakfast or $6 off of supper at the nice restaurant next door "wingers".
We were very happy with our room, the people at the front desk kindly gave us a room with easy access to our car (we were leaving early in the morning) and our breakfast vouchers were good for credit towards dinner that night (since we would be leaving before breakfast was served). The hotel was quite, easy to access off the main road and clean. The pool was AWESOME. The kids loved it!!! We'd stay here again just for the pool.
We found this to be an extra nice Best Western motel for one night as we traveled to a wedding in Oregon. Staff was excellent and the rooms were nice. Breakfast was at Wingers next door which was a plus for us!
Very easy to reach off of the Interstate. Nice Quiet place to stay. Beautiful grounds and a lovely pool. Breakfast was served next door. Was average like BW continental breakfast better as there are more choices. Would stay here again. :)
I was headed from Salt Lake City late night , just needed a place to sleep . Saw the exit had several hotels , this Best Western was my first choice . The restaurant next door was open for dinner , in the morning they had a coupon for breakfast , from the hotel . Could not have worked out better .
This is one of the most convenient Best Westerns we've stayed at. I was really happy to find a large fridge and freezer in the room. Not kitchen size big but certainly big enough for our cooler stuff. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was good. It was nice to have a good shower head and enough water pressure. Breakfast coupon got us big breakfasts at Wingers next door.
A good, comfortable stay. For me this was a one night stop in a long road trip. Happy overall. Good: Comfortable bed Reasonably spacious room Quality overall Decent internet Access to a pool is handy Nice helpful staff Not so good Absence of a lift/elevator if you stay on a first floor and have a heavy bag Parking is limited for this location. Maybe a struggle when the hotel is busy Not much happening around - the town is a little boring.
I booked our room late for during the rodeo so we had a second story room overlooking the semi truck parking lot. It was good for us as we had a horse trailer, but I noticed that the rooms facing the inner part of the property had a nicer view, however, they may also have pool noise :) Room was very clean, bathroom was tiny as this is an older hotel that has been updated. Toilet and tub are separate from sink area which makes life easier. The room itself was average sized with two queens a desk, table and chairs. The front desk service was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is free at Wingers which is next door.
I was very pleased with the speed and efficiency of the staff. They had my check-in ready for me when I arrived and they were friendly and courteous. The room was well equipped .for my business travel, quiet and clean. The internet was fast and reliable. The Hotel was sold out and very busy with the Pool right outside my door and even though there were a lot of people, I had peace and quiet to do my work.
first at all , I'm reviewing this sense I work in the hotel industry I have to give it to Ashley at the front desk , very sweet young lady , the lady that works in the morning at the desk friendly but very robotic, called from my room 219 and she answer front desk!!!! That's it . Didn't say her name and what can she help me . She needs more training . With the room , the fan in the room very noisy and old and was waking up our baby in the middle of the night, I had to turn it off . Also you can hear the other rooms guests taking showers and talking, not very much privacy. The bed where comfortable and the shower was nice . The cleanest in the room was perfect. Housekeeping did a great job . We stayed here 3 night . Breakfast they provide by next door restaurant and very friendly people :) Overall it was a ok stay. Did I ever give them another change . Yes we will. Like I said train better the young lady that works in the morning , in the hotel industry you want somebody like Ashley very smiley and heartwarming , making you feel like home . Good job to Ashley and housekeeping.
We checked into the pet-ok room in the motel and parked directly in front of our room. I led the dogs in on leashes. We went to dinner nearby and put the dogs in the back seat of the pickup with the window partway down (temp was in 70s). When we walked back I let the dogs out of the truck and had them walk with me to the room, a whole 12 feet. Soon after I got a knock on the door and the manager was there to say there had been a complaint that my dogs were off leash. I apologized and tried to figure out exactly what went wrong. Then after 9:30 when my husband and I were asleep the phone rings and my husband groggily says the manager has some paper we have to sign. So I got dressed and met her at the door. What a bunch of malarky!! I did not sleep much at all that night. I was so annoyed. My dogs had not be cavorting around the pool or running up to people, there was no one in sight when I took the dogs to my room!! So if you are looking for a good night's rest, keep looking!!
After hearing what their rate was I said I would continue on to Jerome, ID BW and get the same room for $50 less without a hotel full of kids. (Soccer Tourney)Front desk said there was no rooms available at BW in Jerome, we went anyway and found there was still 30+ rooms available at 9pm.
Foothills Inn Best Western was clean and comfortable! Those are the two most important parts of any stay. We were stopping there on our way home and it did the trick for giving us a place to stay for a night on our last leg of our trip home.
Awesome place to stay! Very clean and new. Great included breakfast next door at Wingers. Although we did not use the pool or the hot tub/ spa it was very clean and welcoming. We were given an upstairs unit (as requested), so did not experience any transient noise from other units.
This motel was very clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. It had easy access to the interstate and all of the amenities in the room worked as they should. The support staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this facility.
I'm a non smoker and my company per my manager always orders non smoking rooms yet I an asthmatic was placed in a smoking room. I Iike how the smoking room is on the other side of a common indoor wall from a non smoker room which means that the non smoker room is really a smoker room because with this much smoke the oils and smoke have permeated the wall and contaminated the next room.
Ok place if you are on the road. We got there very late, checked out very early. Desk staff was pleasant. Pros: quality linens, comfortable bed. Breakfast voucher for Wingers, excellent meal. Cons: tv reception quality poor, flies came out of sink overflow drain, connecting room door thin (luckily we needed to get up early) If you are there on a Tuesday night, ask for a room away from the dumpster. Trash picked up at 6am.
I have stayed here several time and each time i walk away with a since that I am leaving home. The people have always been fantastic and rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is outstanding. Plenty of places to eat and drink close bye.
Very nice hotel. The rooms have been remodeled and the pool is very nice. The included breakfast is at the restaurant next door and is very good. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Overall a very good value.
This is a excellent and basic Best Western . The staff are helpful, pleasant and professional. Let me give an example of their "helpfulness". After driving from Yellowstone we arrived exhausted and ready for QUIET! Our room as it turned out was above a family and their barking dogs ~ one call, and the they were moved. Tanya is wonderful. Breakfast was provided by Wingers Grill next door to the motel, the food was great and well cooked. Waitresses Samantha, and Amy are the best. Ray the cook does it right.
This is a great place to stay. It is very clean, comfortable, and convienient. The staff are all very helpful, they have a coupon to get breakfast at Wingers right next door. You can get one of the breakfasts off the coupon or use it for $6.00 off the bill for breakfast or lunch. Beautiful clean pool area, guest laundry and fitness room. Pet friendly and plenty of parking for any size unit.
This property is located near a few businesses to get what a traveler needs. Truck and trailer parking is awesome! Property is nice and new and rooms are very comfortable. Staff at check in and out were wonderful.
It is very nice hotel with great rooms. A really nice pool area and a good area for walking our dog. We got the last pet room, I would definitely say to call ahead to reserve a room. The only negative I would say is that the free breakfast is at the restaurant next door - so it will take longer for your breakfast.
We have stayed here twice now and have always been happy. Travelling coast to coast with our dogs, we need a place that is pet friendly and this place is. The staff is always pleasant and courteous. The rooms are clean and well maintained. They don't offer a breakfast but give you a voucher for a restaurant next door - Wingers. Very good place. Highly recommended.
On a recent road trip to Salt Lake County, Utah, we dropped in at the Best Western Foothills Inn. The staff were all-time friendly and accommodating. The room was well appointed and very fresh and clean. I fully recommend this hotel and will visit them again.
Very nice motel and would have fit our needs, however they were full and it was not even dark yet. This says this place was very good. We did look at one room but we needed two beds and none of those were left. Drat. It is close to restaurant also. Just needed to call ahead, say 14 hours or so.
Great place to stay between WA and Moab Utah. Probably the most friendly staff I've dealt with at a hotel. Nice, clean rooms, reasonable rate. Breakfast that is better than a continental. Would stay again!
The Best Western Hotel in Mountain Home is centrally located to a lot of activities in the area ... Boating, Fishing, Snow Skiing, Snowmobiling and the list goes on !!! Very nice hotel and property with excellent customer service... I highly recommend the Best Western in Mountain Home Idaho for your next stay in the area !!!
after driving 500+ miles to Colorado it was great to stop and rest at a Best western the staff was great and the rooms were clean and warm. Wingers food was filling prices were good lots of foods for a good price and the wait staff was excellent.
We made the trip to Idaho to help my granddaughter move into an apartment in Mountain Home, Idaho, so she could be near her boyfriend soon to be fiancee, who is coming home from deployment. She had nothing in the apartment, and we had never been in Idaho, so we had a lot of things to buy to get her at least comfortable before we left. She wants to buy most of her furniture after he comes home (which should be in a few days), but we had so much to do and buy regardless. She had an air mattress, which we blew up and a topper and pillow. She had her car shipped to an area just across the street from Best Western, which we unpacked, bought bathroom items, kitchen items, some bedding, a dining table and six chairs, towels for kitchen and bath, toaster, some food for refrigerator, helped with apartment checklist for move-in and repairs, took pictures, bought silverware, knives, she bought sweeper, pots and pans, and dishes, glasses, we bought a few decorative items, she took us to see the Dunes, and the Canyon. Bid her a fond farewell and got home yesterday, after a nine-day stay. A happy/sad experience saying farewell. A proud grandmother & husband proud of quite an adventuresome, lovely girl.
Foothills Inn is the greatest stop on my way to Phoenix They are so accommodating and the puppies love they have room to run in the large area behind the hotel after a long stretch on the road Stay here every year on my way and coming home
Great clean comfy rooms, nice and helpful staff. Parking close to room for easy unloading. Close freeway access. Loved the fact that we could have free breakfast at the on site restaurant. Walking distance to two restaurants.
BW is my choice of motel to stay at in Mountain Home. I'd stay here more but they don't always have non smoking rooms available. Older motel but the rooms are clean with a fridge and microwave. Ample parking with places to eat within walking distance. Offer full hot breakfast which they give a voucher for the restaurant next door. This really works well other then you have to go to the front desk to get a voucher each day. I recommend the Best Western to anyone needing a stay in Mountain home.
Generous clean room with mini fridge/ freezer and microwave. Outdoor pool was closed for season. Indoor spa in small enclosed unwelcoming room. Fitness center has treadmill, recumbent bike, precor step, elliptical machine as well as weight center. Very nice surprise. Quite compact if busy, but nice when used alone. Fitness room also contains guest laundry facility with two compact washer and dryer (coin operated). Generous breakfast provided adjacent to property at Wingers. Property was clean and quiet. Adjacent to Hwy84 and easily accessible.
Everything was great, especially the Breakfast. It was close to everything we needed. Will stay there again. Close to the main road with easy access to the Freeway and to the center of town. Also next to good eating establishments.
we love this place and have recommended it to all of our friends!! not only is the room wonderful but the food is amazing across the board! we love that this place is totally dog friendly and they even give your pet a special treat package on arrival!! we loved the breakfast menu that had a nice selection of gourmet choices... we are foodies and it was difficult to make a selection on our breakfast meal.. We ate dinner there both times we stayed and were very impressed with what we ordered. the cocktails were also amazing and the pricing on everything was very impressive.. we will be coming back for sure!1
I have stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions. The beds are comfortable, rooms are clean and quiet. The complementary breakfast at the restaurant next door is very good. It is a bit of an inconvenience to go outside to another building to get a breakfast voucher and newspaper every morning. overall I highly recommend this Best Western.
I really like the quiet stay and that you can park right outside your door. Very convenient to taking my items in and out of the room. The only downside is that you have to go off the property (just to the building next door) for breakfast. You get a voucher toward a breakfast which gives you some great options. And you can upgrade your meal for a few more dollars. I've found the voucher to be plenty food for me.
I only began with Best Western recently and I find this to be the most accommodating Inn. This Inn is only 60 miles from home, but having a full schedule including 2 church services, I chose to stay over. I was able to rest as long as I needed and felt great the next day.
On our way back from WA state. Had not planned to stay at a motel. Tried to get a room on base, they were sold out. Got the last room at this Best Western... Everything was great here! I just felt the room was a little pricey for the location but overall I was completely satisfied. We usually only stay at Best Westerns....
This motel has been very good, staff very helpful. Rooms are clean and very appealing to the eye. It was very easy to find, and parking was close by the room. The free breakfast in a nearby restaurant was very good.
This is a clean property. Our room was very quiet. Check In was quick, friendly and helpful. Car could be parked right outside room. Bathroom was very small and could use upgrade. Breakfast was complementary at restaurant next door. A good dinner restaurant was on the other side of the property. Would use this property again.
Very overpriced for what you get. We had a king suite which turned out to be a room with a king bed, table and chair, microwave and mini fridge. What motel doesn't have these amenities? The internet didn't work for me, couldn't connect to their wifi with my tablet. It also had the worst bed I've slept on.
Very noisy plumbing from neighbors. Most expensive night on our trip with no breakfast offered but good discount for dinner. Car right at door was convenient but heard car beepers morning and night and smokers and cell phone talkers right outside our door.
This is my second stay at this motel. This visit was as good as the last. Definitely up to Best Western standards. Clean, comfortable, good beds, The WiFi was good. Housekeeping was at the door every morning as our DND sign was blown away by the wind each night. The shower head was broken, so we had miserable showers. I reported this at checkout and was assured it would be replaced immediately. A restaurant was available on each side of the motel. Forget the car, just walk. And, they accommodate smokers. I will be staying here again.
We chose the Best Western partly for location, partly for cost. It turned out to be a great choice. Our room was updated and comfortable, with a great bed, and new towels. Our room was on the back side of the hotel, away from freeway noise (not that there is much here!), and close to where we parked our car. There's a beautiful outdoor pool area with chaises; we didn't take advantage of it, but wished we had on these hot days. The hotel provides a breakfast voucher for Kurley's, which is just next door, and provides a decent breakfast. I'd stay here again.
The hotel was well appointed, the surroundings were lovely with the pool setting. The breakfast voucher at the restaurant next door was excellent! You can use it towards your dinner. Check in was seamless and the staff very courteous.
did not clean the room or supply clean lines, bed make up, coffee, soap etc. Extremely poor communication by staff. The sink would not drain properly and kept belching up foreign objects and garbage. This best western facility does not properly maintain or service its rooms.
Motel was very nice, clean, good customer service. Plumbing from other rooms was a little noisy, and traffic (big trucks, etc.) but not so much that someone who sleeps soundly would notice. Breakfast across street at local restaurant was excellent - definitely a good option.
Your motel's employees are the truest reflection of a facility's excellence, and Best Western Foothills Inn are the BEST, bar none! I look forward to our next visit to Mountain Home, Idaho and the opportunity to stay there again. There simply is no other choice for me than Foothills Inn among the other motels located in Mountain Home.
This is an older hotel built around a courtyard and pool. The room we had was clean and featured a comfortable bed. The shower and toilet are is quite small but we got by. There is no convenient access to courtyard rooms from the parking area. The hotel provides vouchers for breakfast at the Winger's Grill and Bar next door in lieu of a continental breakfast on site. Easy access from I-84.
Stayed in a room that pets are allowed. The carpet has visble pet urine stains. Has a slight musty smell. Beds are clean and comfy. WiFi was great. The breakfast vouchers for Wingers are very nice. Definitely better then continental breakfast! All in all was a pretty ok stay.
Hot breakfast next door at Wingers. You were given a $6 certificate per person....covered most breakfast's. HUGE parking lot ...we were pulling a trailer. Dog friendly. LOVELY outdoor pool to unwind in.
Stopped for quick stay on route, late at night. Very nice room, comfortable beds, and nice pool area. Shower was a fiberglass unit that seemed a little small and the side holders tapered towards tub making it insecure for shampoos etc. they said they are planning a bathroom remodel. Very friendly staff. My wife did get her hair caught in the blow dryer, so be careful there.
We booked this place online via Priceline. That was probably a mistake but the price looked good and the motel was pet friendly. We thought the choice of smoking/non-smoking would be up to us when we arrived. It wasn't. We were booked in a smoking room which probably explains the special price. We were able to get a cancellation and booked a smoking room for $10 more. The room was pleasant with a microwave and small refrigerator. It was clean and tastefully decorated. The connection to Wingers was appreciated as the breakfast was tasty and filling. Were we to come again, we would do our own booking and ask for an AARP discount.
Very nice hotel. It was well kept and staff members were pleasant. However, Internet was a bit slow and there were not enough outlets for electronic gadgets. They want at least 200 characters in this review, but that's all I have to say.
