The price was right before they gave us the AARP discount! It was a clean, comfortable room with all the amenities. Friendly, hard working staff! The breakfast was awesome! We will be staying here again!!

"Nice hotel, great value!"

We stayed here one night while attending a nearby wedding. Hotel is located towards the north side of town, not far from Iowa Wesleyan University. There are fast food restaurants located close to the hotel. Hotel was kind of standard Best Western. Good sized room, with microwave, refrigerator, iron and ironing board, good sized tv, and a great air conditioner. Breakfast included waffles, eggs, cereal, juices, etc., plus, the best biscuits and gravy we've had at a Best Western. Not sure what they do different, but they were really good. Staff is super friendly. There is a small business center in the lobby but we did not use.

I had a pleasant stay at the motel is very nice and friendly staff clean building nice pool the outside was very nice little picnic area and there was a nice bar down the street bar restaurant called the catcher's box or something baseball affiliated

This hotel was clean but room was musty. Unsure if linens or room itself but very acute odor. This made sleep very hard and upset my stomach it was that sharp. Otherwise hotel was clean, well lit and easy to find.

IOver a three weekend period about 14 softball teams stayed at this Best Western. We heard nothing but GREAT comments from coaches and families!! Great value, awesome location, good breakfast. And, the General Manager was VERY friendly!!! Highly recommend!

Given the choices, this was a good selection. Clean and comfortable. The service was good. Coffee was ready in the morning and the breakfast helps save time. I was in town visiting family. the sound of the train is load if you sleep with the window open.

Service is over the top, hospitality is great. Staff very friendly. However, just as important, the rooms are always very clean, updated and include a refrigerator and microwave. We always recommend this hotel for anyone coming to the area. This is our 3rd stay over the course of 5 years and have never been disappointed!

"College Visit"

We stayed two nights, rooms were clean and the owner was accommodating by picking us up and taking us to the bus depot as there are no taxis or buses in the area. Breakfast was your typical breakfast, however access to Walmart and restaurants is great. Upon checking my credit card there was an amount deducted for incidentals but I have no idea what this is for.

Room and bathroom was clean but could hear dogs barking and was very disappointed the pool was closed down. It was very slick when you first walked into the hotel because it had snowed the day before they need a larger rug down when you walk into the hotel that is no skid. We will be staying again shortly for a family event, really hoping the pool is open to wind down after traveling.

"Quiet & easy access"

Nice basic Best Western in SE Iowa was very clean and parking was close and adequate. Highway access was close and easy. Bonus: electrical outlets available for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicle owners. Breakfast was the typical BW fare. Table space could be tight if hotel is full.

I stopped here overnight while traveling an business. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was filling. Wifi internet was so so . The room and Bed were very clean. The TV had a surprising amount of channels

stayed there a week ago and room was under one of my family member. since they doesn't use internet a lot i thought i should rate this place to let other travelers know that not to go to this place. everything seems to be extremely outdated. pool was nasty and so was the food in the breakfast. management need to look in to this place. will never stay at this place.

"I'm done staying here"

First off, the staff is very friendly and helpful. I have stayed here in the past and it has progressively gone downhill. There's just too many details being ignored at this place. I do alot of computer work when I stay in a motel and this place has yet to enter the 21st century and provide table lamps with electrical outlets. I'm too old to crawl around on the floor searching for usable electrical outlets. My desk chair was ripped and crappy looking. The desk/table was wobbly. The bathroom? It was clean but I had to hold down the toliet handle to fully empty the toilet. The shower curtain was too short to stay inside the tub and I couldn't help but get water all over the floor. No night light. HVAC? Noisy and cycled on and off every few minutes and there appeared to be no way to leave the fan run continuously. The TV was stuck on closed captioning with no way to turn it off. Yes, I used every button I could find on the remote. Couldn't turn it off. Didn't eat breakfast because I don't eat early in the morning so nothing to report here.

The rates for the room was decent. It was 13 below outside so much of the 2 days in Mt Pleasant was spent around the motel. All of the employees from the Manager to the desk help to the room attendants were wonderful.

"Good hotel but no hot tub"

Best Western wast last hotel in Mt. Pleasant with a useable hot tub. Hope it gets fixed. Great staff. Great value compared to other hotels in area. Will return as soon as tub returns. Pizza hut next door!

I was in the area for Thanksgiving with family. The motel is easy to get to & near a nice Wal-Mart & some chain restaurants. I needed to arrive a day earlier than I had originally planned and they were very accommodating to that. I had a first floor room & except for doors closing it was quiet. My room TV worked well. They had a nice simple breakfast in am of dry cereals, waffles, scrambled eggs & biscuits & gravy, plus bread for toast & yogurts. There were 2 juices available plus milk. The dining area was clean & was nice TV in it also. Staff was very friendly & made sure dinig area was clean. They did need to do some repair work to shower wall but otherwise I had plenty of hot water & bathroom was clean.

Definitely worth staying here. The staff is excellent at accommodating last minute bookings, and special request. The room was perfect. Food was great. Absolutely no complaints. Will be staying here during any future trips. I would recommend this hotel

Our circumstances required an extra night before we could acquire a rental vehicle and the staff made our stay as pleasant as possible. They could not have been more friendly or helpful. The service was excellent in all respects. We'd certainly choose this place again.

Nice place to stay as we were traveling though on our way back home. We were getting tired and it turned out to be the perfect distance from home, We liked the fact that they accepted dogs and it was quiet. We didn't hear other dogs barking. It met our needs for the night.

Plenty of open parking for all in front of hotel. A place to plug-in an electric vehicle if you have your own charge cord. Easy highway access in Mount Pleasant. Regional paper provided in the morning. Typical breakfast for BW. Pool and fitness center looked OK but we didn't use them.

Great stay, I always use the BW when in town. I like the friendly staff and I have never been disappointed with my stay. I would recommend this hotel highly. Easy access and restaurants and shopping is within walking distance.

Great manager! Hotel property is clean. Been by here alot but never had a reason to stop until now. Eating establishments really close. You can walk to 2 or 3 just across the parking lot. Motorcycle friendly.

"It does the job"

Gave the place a 4 because of the very nice family and their staff. As best western go, it was a little under average. For the location, and the other locations in the market, they were above. Rooms were clean, but bathrooms were in need of a makeover. Bed was comfortable, but TV was a a bit on the small one and the cable system was annoying with the channels and all the sub channels. Breakfast was ok. Pool looked nice, but hot tub was out of order. Over all, I was really happy with the staff, they made it very comfortable and welcoming.

The staff was nice. The breakfast was enough to tide me over until lunch. The only annoying part was the toilet ran constantly. I was not able to fix it. I did not tell any of the staff because I had long days and was only there for two nights on business.

The manager at this hotel goes out of his way to accommodate requests and to provide a pleasant stay. Breakfast was the typical fare. Room was nice with comfortable beds. Overall we would return if we are in this area.

This hotel was a pleasant experience after a long motorcycle ride. There was ample restaurants in walking distance. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Good place to stay after a long day on the road.

This property is in the newer section of town along with 3 other hotels a Walmart and a handful of eating places. The rooms were clean and ok sized. They stuff a lot of items in the room 3 lamps a desk a microwave and a refrig. The staff was excellent offering hot fresh cookies on arrival. The beds were ok , sleep quality was ave. The breakfast had all the basics plus scrambled eggs and sausage. Excellent glazed doughnuts. Overall a nice stay in a nice location just off 34.

Mold on wood furniture. OwnerTried to blame on housekeeping we Saw 3 huge fans in hallway and over heard other employees about the problem But they still put us in moldy room. Hot tub didnt even work!

While visiting family in Mount Pleasant Iowa, we stayed at the Best Western. The rooms were clean and the staff was attentive. We would suggest room 232. It has two beds, a sitting/working area and only one adjoining guest room making it very unlikely that noise from other guests will be a problem. The room has a small refrigerator and a micro-wave. There is plenty of closet/drawer space. There is a complimentary breakfast area. The wi-fi is reliable.

"Disappointed"

The only thing it really had going for it was it had three beds that were fairly comfortable. The room wasn't clean at all. Dust and cobwebs Breakfast was a disaster. The whipped cream isn't being refrigerated they keep it in a cupboard. The cereal says it's Kellogg's and it's Walmart brand. Two employees stood there watching us the entire time we ate breakfast both days. It was very uncomfortable. There was racket outside our room and we checked it out to find three police officers directing us to get back in our room. The halls and some of the employees smelled strongly of body odor. The hot tub was so dirty we couldn't use it. We brought some concerns to the attention to the manager and we were treated with a dismissive attitude.

We had ball tournaments in Burlington. Very easy access from highway. Good location to local retailers.Very clean and comfortable rooms. Great place to stay and would reserve again if we are in the area.

Rooms clean, good breakfast selection, nice staff. Not a good place to stay if you do not have a car. ONLY one cab, privately owned. No other transportation available. Toilets are low, wifi sporadic, shower water hard to adjust. Easy access to restaurants.

Usually we enjoy it here, and it's normally where I suggest staying when we stay to visit family, but this trip (mind you we have young children and most people do when they use a SWIMMING POOL) so as we walked past the hot tub room there was a couple making it quite clear nobody else was welcome and they were doing XXX things in there and then they got even worse like legs over the head stuff! Around children. Omg. I am not that old but this shouldn't be happening around little kids. This is why you get a hotel- go use your room!!! Nasty. Also, what if I wanted to use the hot tub- which I did but never mind I never got to because those nasty rednecks were going at it in there! Also our plastic cards didn't work or at least one didn't. And then we were in a 2nd floor end unit which I hate! So it could've been better. Last time I reviewed it I gave it a 4. So.

We sincerely apologize for the experience you have had with us. We cannot express how sorry we are, we do have cameras pointing down there, however those individuals could have been out of view. I assure you had we seen, or been told about this incident those guests would have been forced to leave and pay for their stay, as well as some extra charges. This is a very nice hotel for the price. Not to many updates but for the short time I was there everything was fine. Very quite hotel and the location was great. Close to Walmart and two pizza places.

We were on a 10 day cross country planes trains and automobile trip and this was the lowest category hotel of the trip.we were prepared for a low end experience but Bobbi Jo and Dave made it one of the best stays on the trip

We were checked in early by Bobbi Jo. Hotel room was clean and comfy land was perfect for us. Breakfast in the morning had a wonderful selection, nicely laid out, very clean and nice seating area. Dave, at the desk, helped us with the luggage to our room, and also oversaw the breakfast in the hotel. The room was airy and bright, large and had all the amenities we wanted. Also, the location near the door was excellent and our van was parked close to the entrance.

SUPER friendly staff at this Best Western! Every time we would see any staff they would great us and make sure everything was ok.....they aim to please! Friendly and courteous goes a long way with me! Our room was comfortable and clean. Decent breakfast. My big thing when going into a hotel room is the smell. There were no bad smells in our room! They even gave us a little gift bag when we checked out! We will definitely stay at this Best Western again!!!

I guess we should have made better plans. We were driving for 10 hours and needed a room. We've had good luck with Holiday Inn Express, but the Hamilton MO Holiday Inn Express was full. Made many calls and most were booked. Drove further north to Mount Pleasant. We opened the door and were greeted by a big old nasty carpet patch. Ugh. We checked for bed bugs and were surprised there were not. The pillows were square "half pillows". Nobody has pillows that small on their bed! More like a lumpy couch pillow. We showered and got the heck out of there.

"Stay somewhee else"

I checked into my room at 4:00 pm and went to bed at 6:00. I was worn out and didnt look too closley at the room. When I took a shower in the morning I was disgusted by the pubic hairs and long head hair plastered to the shower walls. I packed up and as I stood next to the bed I impaled my bare foot on a white, push tack that was on the floor. Obviously the housekeeping is lacking as the both the hairs and the tack would have been obvious to anyone cleaning the room. I was checked in by Dave on Sunday and was checked out by Sam. I told Sam about my issues and asked him to refund half of my night. He said that he would tell the manager and have him call me. I left and got fuel. I remembered that I left a bottle of pop in the fridge in the room and returned to get. 15 minutes after i left I got a key from Dave. I received no call for 2 days and called the hotel. I was told that Dave is actually the manager. Why didnt he take care of my issue then? Manager Dave called me back on Thanksgiving day. When I asked for a partial refund he told me that he would not do it. He said that I would be given a discount and room upgrade on my next stay. I told him that I would never stay there again and wanted a refund. He still refused. There are at least 3 other hotels within a block of this one. I would avoid this hotel and stay somewhere else.

Stay was great. Quiet room, comfortable beds. Check-In was easy and quick, staff was knowledgeable. Everything we needed, ice machine, guest laundry, snack and coke machine. Pool was clean and great to spend my family time. Room and lobby were spotless, very nice and clean hotel. Dave, Sam, and Bobbie Jo were the staff I came into contact with. I was greeted every time through the lobby. Called to check and make sure everything was okay for our room. I would recommend this hotel to everyone staying in the area. Perfect experience!

Just got home from a 1 night stay; hotel staff are very welcoming and can not do enough for you. Unfortunately we couldn't get in the spa as there was a wedding and a party going on so it was totally booked up. Food in the restaurant was very good and the bedrooms were amazing. While traveling thru Iowa, we just needed a place to sleep and shower before getting back on the road. The place was very clean and had very friendly staff. The complimentary breakfast was average but the dinning area was small and there were a lot of people so it was slightly overwhelming. As a stop it was more than expected but I wouldn't stay for a long term visit.

We weren't sure what to expect in the little town of Mt.Pleasant but felt assured by the positive reviews on Trip Advisor. We began having some sort of vehicle issues with a tire about the time we got to Mt.Pleasant. The guy at the desk was very kind and offered to look up some local mechanics in order to have my truck taken care of. The room was very clean and all the staff was very very nice. It is nice to see people who take pride in their work.

Our room had a very musty, mildew smell that caused a health issue with one person in our group. The room was small and cramped for 3 people and there was not enough table or counter space. We could hear people on the 2nd floor stomping around for 30 minutes at 5am and loud slamming of doors in the hall the entire time we were there. This property was not what we have come to expect from Best Western.

I experienced several irritating things while checking in: Nobody at the front desk for nearly ten minutes. I was given a room that was already taken with the lame excuse about the person in that room not telling them they were checking out. They don't have a way to check that? What I liked: Very comfortable bed Quiet a/c unit Good internet Automatic doors upon entering. Helpful when carrying a lot of stuff. This is a nice, clean, well-kept hotel run by caring staff. The surprise is the nice whirlpool spa and dry sauna room in addition to a good sized indoor pool! This facility is nothing fancy, but nice, clean and well-run. Bed and room were very comfortable, clean and quiet. Would absolutely stay here again.

Disclaimer: I am leaving this review for my parents who are not too computer savvy, but they really, really wanted to leave a review. My parents were traveling through Iowa and stayed at the Best Western for a night. The rooms were spotless, and the other areas were also exceptionally clean. Saturday morning had a great breakfast with scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy. My mother accidentally left her purse in the breakfast area and panicked when she realized it was gone. When she came back down to look for her purse, Tabatha saw my mother and asked if she was looking for her purse. She had noticed it and stored it behind the office and was waiting for my mother to return to look for it. Of course, nothing was missing and Tabatha saved the day! The stay itself was nice, and breakfast was nice, but the staff is A+ and go out of their way to help you out!

We stayed at the Best Western in Mt Pleasant during a group get together in the area. The hotel is conveniently located off of Hwy 218 and easy to find. The exterior has good upkeep and there is ample parking. The lobby and breakfast area is clean and well maintained, rooms comfortable, clean and plenty of amenties....fridge, microwave, etc. Staff was pleasant and greeted you with smiles and a willingness to help make your stay enjoyable. We did not partake in the complimentary breakfast other than a morning coffee and a mini muffin, but there appeared to be adequate choices (eggs, waffles, cereal, breads, juices, etc.). There is a fitness room, whirlpool (separate from the pool) and a pool. All looked well maintained. I would definitely consider this hotel again if my travels take me back to the area.

The staff was very accommodating, the rooms are clean and the rates are very affordable. I was on a 2000 mile road trip, after getting a late start and driving almost 500 miles my eyelids became very heavy. I desperately needed rest. It was after midnight when I stopped at the hotel. They gave me a good rate for a double queen room. The room was clean and the desk clerk was very helpful. He provided me all of the toiletries that I neglected to pack, in my haste to get on the road. The other guests, a large crew of road builders, had wiped out the continental breakfast before I made it. I did not ask about food, but the staff provided me with a snack for the road at check-out. They exceeded my expectations, I would stay again.

The property could use some updates but the Staff has been extremely friendly and helpful. Wifi has issues on and off so the Front Desk called Tech Support and was able to fix the issues...for now. Everyone from the Front Desk to House Keeping has smiled and greeted me. Breakfast was so-so but got the job done. Definitely will stay here if I'm in the area for work again.

Everything about the hotel was very clean. Very nice showers with lots of water pressure. Breakfast was also very good. We had a very relaxing stay, staff was very nice! This hotel had a sauna which never seen before in a hotel, our son & granddaughter enjoyed that a lot. Our only problem, which was a minor one, was the entry lights to our room didn't work. When we checked out, we received a "parting gift" which was a nice surprise! Would recommend this hotel to everyone!

Where do I begin? I can't express how well we were treated from the moment we entered until the minute we left. #1 The smell of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies as we entered the lobby at check-in! #2 The smile, wave, and welcome from the laundry room help as we passed on our way to the elevator to get to our rooms. #3 Front clerk, Bobbie Jo, called our rooms to make sure everything was in order and that we were settled after checking in. #4 The care and concern for my 90 year old mother by housekeeping (Aik and Vina) each morning. They were astonished by her capability. #5 Wow, the staff takes tremendous pride in making their guests feel welcomed...the rooms, the lobby, the breakfast tables and eating area. #6 Dave was such a wonderful and gracious host! He made sure morning guests were well fed and taken care of. He kept the area stocked with a variety of breakfast items both hot and cold plus had gluten free Cheerios! He had to do double duty one morning...front desk, breakfast area, and washing....never, ever did I hear nor see him complain. He is definitely an asset to the franchise!! #7 Cleanliness....extremely clean everywhere! Breakfast tables wiped down after every use. Breakfast serving area picked up and kept tidy. Waffle dispenser was always clean...not even a drip of batter! #8 Rooms....excellent! We had 2 king bedrooms across from each other on the 2nd floor. We appreciated the elevator. Very quiet even being next to the elevator. Extremely clean and well kept! #9 We were wished safe travels several times as we left and given a bag with a bottle of water and a snack size Kit Kat (my favorite)! #10 It was like staying with family! Why go elsewhere? We will continue to support them when we return on our next trip!

Although this hotel is attempting to make renovations to update the facilities, I do not recommend staying here. We found a dead bed bug in one of the beds in the first room so asked to switch to another room. The person at the front desk annoyingly told us she only had one other room left, with no apology for finding a bug in the bed. Luckily the second room was clean. My in-laws had booked their room 4 months prior to the booked date, but when they arrived with an email confirmation in hand, no one could find their reservation. Again, there was no apology or attempt to make amends. Instead, they told my in-laws that since all of the hotels in town were booked for the weekend, they would have to drive to Fairfield to get a room (which was 25 miles away). We had to get new room keys 3 different times because they would stop working. After changing them the second time, the person at the front desk asked if I was putting them next to my phone or keys, trying to blame me for demagnetizing them. I replied by telling him I was keeping my room key in a side pocket with nothing else in it or on top of the nightstand, and again there was no apology. On the second day of staying there, I ended up taking a cold shower because the water pressure and heat cut out. The people who clean the rooms are very friendly but overall, our stay here was very disappointing.

This is an older Best Western and could use a little bit of TLC and basic renovations. But the entire hotel and the room we stayed in was very, very clean. They cleaned our room each day and restocked it. The beds in the rooms were comfortable. They were not the best hotel beds we have slept on, but they were good and neither of us aches in the mornings or complaints about the beds. The free wifi was easy to log in on and was fairly fast. The hotel staff was very polite and constantly inquired if you needed anything or needed any assistance. The entire hotel was kept very clean and tidy. This hotel was also one of quietest hotels we have stayed in. We did not hear anyone once we got into our room. This is a two story hotel and we stayed on the 2nd floor. I think if you are on the 1st floor, you might hear the people above you, but on the 2nd floor, we did not hear anything. It appeared that the hotel was actually going to start doing some kind of renovations, but I am not sure. The breakfast in the morning was good and had a variety of items to offer. There is an indoor pool and hot tub on the bottom floor. We didn't use it, but saw several people using them. The only 2 negatives that we found was that the front interior door was not automatic, so when you were entering with your arms full of luggage and bags, you had to manually open the door. An automatic door would make entry & exit easier, so you didn't have to juggle your bags to get the door open. The other negative was that the door key reader on the exterior door to the pool was broken and you could not access that area from the exterior and would have to walk around, through the main hotel area. (These are 2 minor negatives and were simply slight inconveniences.) This is a hotel that we will not hesitate to stay in, on our next trip to Mt. Pleasant. Keep up the great work Best Western and thanks for the great place to stay!!

About half way to Rochester, MN is Mt Pleasant, IA. I found a Best Western hotel, which I am familiar with, and stayed there. It was a good place to stop, and the price was reasonable. Did not take the time to have breakfast. The room was a little musty, had to open the window for a while. This is an older hotel.

On a recent road trip, we stayed at several hotels - mostly Best Westerns. This one was by far the best of them all. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and fresh and the breakfast area had the most variety. They had lots of fruit, which was hard to come by in the other hotels. Everything was filled, fresh and very clean. It was obvious the staff takes great care & pride in their work!

We stayed at the best western on 4/30/2016. Check in was a breeze, and the clerk was very friendly and very helpful. The room was very nice and clean, all the working staff spoke good English and were very friendly and helpful. Our 10 year old grand daughter had a great time in the pool, and hot tub. employees checked on pool room frequently, and made sure the towels were kept full for the swimmers. Had a very good free breakfasts next morning. All hot and cold foods were filled regularly, with great service and a smile. These employees went above and beyond!! We were treated like family. I highly recommend.

We stayed in the 3 queen suite and were very disappointed in the room. Only one closet and NO dresser for possibly 8 people! The room was clean but uninviting. It felt like staying in a dorm room. The staff were great but the breakfast was average. Never saw any other rooms so can not recommend but will NOT recommend the suite.

Upon arriving we received chocolate chip cookies. We spent the evening in their family hotel room with 3 queen beds and a pull out couch. These types of rooms are hard to find. We were pleased that it was resonably priced and very clean. We did have some small ants near a night stand. I informed the staff at checkout. For entertainment the hotel has an average sized pool, a whirlpool, and a exercise room. There is a Pizza Hut next door and a Pizza Ranch a block away. They had coupons on the front check in counter. The breakfast included the usual continental fare. Plus they had make your own waffles, biscuits and gravy, and breakfast burritos. The breakfast area was constantly kept clean and stocked. My only issue was there were not enough tables for everyone to sit. They did have trays you could take your food back to your room. I would stay here again.

The Best Western Mt Pleasant Inn was a welcome site for a van full of weary passengers. We had been traveling all across the state of Iowa and were all very tired. Having 3 queen beds plus a pullout bed made sleeping arrangements a breeze. The breakfast was good, not the best but better than many others I've had. My only real gripe was that our keys wouldn't open the back door, which was by far the most convenient for our room.

I'm reluctant to give a 3-star review to a basically solid and fully acceptable hotel. The staff (both evening and morning) was wonderful--friendly, helpful, upbeat, effective. The room and facility were clean. The breakfast was adequate, if not expansive. The location and the hotel in general were very quiet, even in our room near the pool. Despite smallish rooms and a mildly sagging mattress (not bad, but dipping a bit toward the middle), we were mostly satisfied with this hotel, and this would be a 4-star rating except for one thing--heater noise. The room's heater was so, so loud that it kept all of us from sleeping in the night, even the person who is completely deaf in one ear, as well as the deep-sleeping teenage boy. When the loud noise was constant because the heater was running, it wasn't bad, because it was consistent. When it wound down, that was fine, too, because it grew quiet. And when the heater wasn't running, the room was truly peaceful. But then... then the heater would start up again, and the loud start-up after the wonderful quiet was so very disruptive. It was as if a school bus started its engine in the silent room every 20 minutes or so, completely and repeatedly interrupting any sleep. To be fair, I don't know whether the other rooms also have this problem. Also to be fair, we did not notice the problem until we were unpacked, in bed, and trying to sleep; therefore, we did not ask whether we could move to a quieter room. Perhaps the management would have moved us, if we'd discovered the problem earlier. (And if we had realized how bad the night would go, we would have attempted to switch rooms even after going to bed.) If someone is a very deep sleeper, maybe the noise wouldn't be a problem, and in that case I could definitely recommend this hotel as a budget-friendly, acceptable option. As an average-to-light sleeper, though, I would not come back here. We were all wrecked the next day, not the way you want to start a trip. Again, though, the staff was wonderful. This is completely a facilities issue.

This is a fairly nice place, not as good as other Best Westenrs I have stayed at, but okay. It could use some renovating as the exercise room was cluttered with things on the floor that did not belong. The hot tub was okay but no hand rail to help you in and out. All in all a not too bad place but there may be better here locally.

We stay at Best Western whenever we travel and usually have no complaints. The staff was professional, friendly and helpful. Very pleasant atmosphere, the room was comfortable aside from the fact that we could not get the heater to produce heat but they did supply us with extra blankets which helped tremendously. We were in Iowa for a funeral so didn't spend that much time in the room but it was fine.

Good Service, Comfortable room. Very helpful staff. Great Mexican Restaurant close by. Breakfast was typical motel breakfast, nothing great but ok. Could have used another blanket on the bed but turned up the heat to compensate for the lack of a blanket. Heating unit was a little noisy.

I stayed at the Best Western for a week on business and found it to be pleasant and convenient. There was easy access to the frontage road and within easy walk to Pizza Hut or the Mexican restaurant. Everything was very clean and they were happy to clean my room on the strange schedule I was on. The pool, hot tub, and sauna were clean and nice to use. Both Sam and Dave were very pleasant to work with and did everything they could to make my stay comforting. The hotel was quiet at night and I could find easy access parking as it wasn't so busy that I had to park a long way from the door. The internet was also faster than most hotels as I've had larger hotel chains with slower internet. I would stay there again on future trips.

Since we needed a place to stay that was half-way to our destination, I checked with Trip Advisor and subsequently booked a room through them at the Best Western. Good decision! Nice room, friendly staff, good breakfast. I would stay here again the next time we make the trip to visit relatives.

For a family of five it can be hard to pack into one room. So I assumed it would be a tight fit for all of us, but not so. We stayed in room 102 and we had room to spare! It was wonderful. Very clean and great beds for sleeping. Breakfast was standard waffle/scrambled egg/biscuit and gravy bar. Lots of fruit if your into that sort of stuff.

Very clean place to stay. Staff was so nice. Will for sure stay there again when we come to see family. Thanks for the great time we were able to have with our grandkids there. The pool was a big hit with the kids and so well kept.

Dave and his brother are always very friendly and very accommodating. When we call for reservations, they remember who we are and what room we stayed in previously. The place is always clean. We love to stay there! The breakfast they serve is very good.

This property is well kept. The staff is very friendly...and we even received a small thank you gift as we left...a bottle of water and a chocolate bar. What a fun surprise! This motel is a great value for the price...we'd definitely stay here again.

The hotel was under vast reconstruction but room was great, better than average free breakfast and super friendly staff. Room was very quiet even though storms were going on outside! Near several eateries. If we ever have to stay in Mt. Pleasant again it will be at the Best Western!!

Room was clean, staff friendly and polite. Spa and pool area have needed repairs and updates for months. Good place to stay if just need a place to sleep. Front desk clerk double as breakfast server so don't expect fast clean up or food items refilled during breakfast

Quiet, clean and reasonably priced. Breakfast was pretty tasty also. Highly recommended.. They're making me put in at least 200 words for my review. That's the only complaint I have because I'm pretty sure I said enough in the beginning... Hope you enjoy your stay there as much as I did..

Very adequate but the rooms need updating from technology standpoint. In-room WiFi would not load, not enough outlets to charge devices. Also, more pay attention to detail needed by housekeeping. Unfortunately, the hot tub was not working during our stay which also took out the sauna.

When we checked in, the people behind the desk were terrific. We were offered warm, homemade cookies. I commented on the cookies, and one was waiting for me when I checked out! Room was clean and comfortable. This is our seond time at this place. We stay when we travel between Minnesota and Florida. We will definitely be back!

Very clean and comfortable! The staff was friendly and very helpful. Good location close to food and shopping. Nice area. Would recommend this motel and stay there in the future! Good value and it's always nice to have free coffee and breakfast ready for you when you are traveling!

The staff was very friendly. Upon arrival, we were given fresh baked (and still warm) cookies. The bed was comfortable and easy to sleep upon, and the room was clean. The AC unit was not very loud. Breakfast was pretty typical: cereal, yogurt, bread products, and also waffles, eggs and biscuits with gravy. My only complaints - The dining area was a little cramped. The television lacked a menu so I had to scroll through many, many channels trying to find something interesting. Overall, still one of the better hotel experiences. I would definitely stay there again.

The staff was very friendly. Check in and check out went smoothly and quickly. Our king room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was more than adequate. We walked through the indoor pool area which appeared clean and well maintained. We will definitely stay here again. For the price, this is a good value.

We stayed here for a wedding. The room was small, but very clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would certainly recommend this hotel. Unfortunately, the hot tub was not working when we were there. My husband would have liked to relax in it after the drive.

Stayed here because I traveled here for a funeral. It was very, very clean. The bed was very comfortable, front desk was very pleasant, and the continental breakfast was decent. Waffles, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs and all the rest of what a normal free breakfast has. And it was extremely clean and well stocked all the time. I don't have a bad thing to say about this hotel.

We spent a night here on the way to visit my husband's family. The staff was very nice and the hotel is easily accessible from the highway. We stayed here before and that was visit was better. The hotel needs a major facelift. It is very dated. The rooms were pretty clean, but the pool had a light out and the treadmill didn't work in the fitness center. The breakfast was ok. The hotel has restaurants within walking distance.
