Best Western Plus LaCrescent / LaCrosse

This Best Western is very nice. Clean, friendly and a great breakfast. Restaurant and lounge on site was nice. I thought it was a little pricey but I guess that's because it was booked solid. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

beautiful building in a beautiful setting, with a GM who rudely snapped back when rates were questioned. not sure about this place, they need to lose the GM, no wonder the lot was empty. since i need to write more characters, i'll just say again whoever owns the place needs to wise up and lose the GM.

Very nice lobby and pleasant staff. Everyone I dealt with was nice and polite. The front desk provided assistance in arranging a ride to and from my dinner destination in LaCrosse. The lounge was well staffed.

We shared our satisfaction with our Leaders as to the wonderful experience we had using the Meeting Convention Center. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. The food was wonderful the whole experience was great.

We were impressed with the property. It was pristinely clean. The on sight bar exceeded expectation, although we didn't eat at the bar/restaurant the nachos looked absolutely bing worthy. My bones wished the beds had been a bit softer, they were quite firm.

Fantastic hotel with very friendly staff. Restaurant was great with reasonably priced food. We actually ate here both nights of our atay. We would for sure stay here again when we are in the area. Clean veey clean.

Updated nice hotel with a big beautiful guest-friendly lobby. No long unending corridors - short distance to rooms from the lobby. The rooms are big and comfortable. The bedding and matrass are just perfect! Big fridge and big desk with a computer plug above the desk (and not under it like in our previous hotel), etc. Attached restaurant is a big plus.

Terrible customer service! We dealt with Kim, the manager, and she was extremely unaccommodating. Due to a mixup in the booking with Hotels.com, we were charged $200 and we did not even stay at the hotel. I contacted Hotels.com. They were very pleasant and willing to offer a refund, but Kim at the Best western, was unwilling to refund our money. That's shady business in my opinion. We stayed at many best westerns in the past , but unfortunately will not return to another one after this experience!

This is a beautiful, clean hotel. Staff was excellent and the bar/restaurant was very very good. Will definitely return. Great location, modern amenities. Breakfast was good. We had a wonderful time at this hotel during our annual Jeep trip.

Made a reservation at the last minute when I couldn't drive one more minute on the expressway. I didn't really know what I was in for. Couldn't have been more pleased with the property, the service, the peaceful location and the room. Will definitely be back!

We were traveling with 9 other couples and stayed a Saturday night at this hotel. VERY clean and modern. Highly recommend. Very quiet at night. Very friendly and pleasant staff. Rooms clean and ready when we arrived. A few folks used the pool and said it was a little cold - no hot tub. Husband and I didn't use the pool. Great place to spend a night. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, breads, etc - usual hotel food. It was tasty and warm. Only negative is the ice machine wasn't working on 2nd floor but 1st and 3rd were working so we used those.

Our stay was good! One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. Very modern & extremely clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurants nearby were delicious and had a variety of options. The food was amazing! Close to gas stations, grocery stores, and liquor stores.

What a great way to spend the last night on our vacation to ND and SD! We used Best Western Gift cards that were earned earlier on this trip. Electric car charger was fast and efficient for our plug-in hybrid car. Arii made us feel welcome when we checked in and worked to be sure our credit was correct. Great room, wonderful breakfast and a good restaurant near-by. A very restful way to end our vacation!

We were looking for a place for a short getaway that would allow us to explore the area as well as hike. The Best Western in La Crescent was the perfect home-away-from-home. Our room had a living space as well as a sleeping space which made our 5 night stay comfortable. The swimming pool provided a great place to relax when we had a rainy day and didn't feel like wandering too far. Weekday breakfast lasts until 9:30 during the week & 10 on the weekend, meaning that we didn't have to start our day in a hurry. There is lots of parking. And the hotel is located in a place that allows nearby hiking just crossing the back parking lot! La Crescent is a small town (5200 people) with excellent local restaurants ... we tried all 5! If you want more adventure, big-box stores, and a wide range of chain/local restaurants just cross the Mississippi into LaCrosse Wisconsin (52,000) people. All in all, this is a destination hotel that we were surely return to! *We stayed here last year as a drive-through stop, and were impressed then, bringing us back this year.

We got the King Suite which was very spacious. The bathroom was also roomy. Very clean and welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast was decent and typical of most hotels I've stayed. The swimming pool was a decent size. We attended a retirement party in the reception hall which was a nice space as well. Staff were nice.

We stayed 4 nights and overall it was wonderful! However, the first night there was a big function going on and because of that there was NO parking at all for the paying customers staying at the hotel. We were told that we could try down by the street or up on the hill?? We had a problem with that because we are paying to have a room, so we should have parking-and we are not going to unload all of our luggage down by the street or up on a hill and have to push it that far in, other than that she had no other options-so we told her we would be parking in the elite parking until the party thinned out and there was a spot. Also, there were kids in a room above us (we believe unsupervised all night long because the parents were attending the party), and we listened to them for over 6 hours running back and forth and jumping off the beds above us. We had to call 6 times to finally get something done, as well did others. Finally after we called at 1230am they settled down long enough for us to go to sleep. We had been traveling since 3am that morning and were not happy that we couldn't get to sleep when we wanted to-and no compensation was even offered. What good is a 1030 noise policy if it takes that long to enforce it? Other than that the room was very clean and new, a.c. and heat worked good, bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and shower had good pressure. The free breakfast was less than desirable. Pretty much all frozen stuff heated up (omelets, bacon or sausage flip flop days, pancakes, biscuit and gravy on weekend, and then fruit, yogurt, boiled eggs, etc). No gluten free options to speak of. Another plus is that I have a huge chemical sensitivity to pretty much everything and I did not react in the hotel or our room at all! We would definitely stay again!

The hotel is nice, we had a great time. Rooms are spacious, bed is comfy, the common rooms and lobby were big enough to accomodate our crowd so we could hang out. You have to request housekeeping, but we don't need it. We asked for extra towels and they were promptly delivered. Very happy with our stay

The hotel is very nice. Everything is tastefully decorated and very clean. The room was quite spacious and comfortable, the staff was friendly and their breakfast offered a good selection. It was a pleasant experience.

We stayed here on a weekend for a hockey tournament. We found parking in the back of the hotel a lot easier to use and more space as people parked in the front and on the side of the building. The rooms were comfortable. Temperature easy to adjust and control. Easy to get to I-90 or even to highway 14 to get to La Crosse.

Very clean, helpful staff and delicious breakfast. Pool was heated and gym was clean. The staff was cleaning all the time to have it spotless. Very nice staff and parking lot free of ice and restaurant connected to hotel had good food and trivia night with prizes.

Great price. Great staff. Clean room, hallways and entryway. Easy access from highway. I will definitely be back again and have already mentioned this hotel to family and friends. Quiet atmosphere when checking in as lobby area is very 'sit down for a while' inviting!

We stayed here overnight to bring our son home for thanksgiving. I was hesitant about booking because I like to stay downtown La crosse. Robert at the front desk was fantastic! The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was great. This will be my first choice from now on.

This is the second year our family has gathered at this hotel. We really enjoyed it last year, and enjoyed our first day this year. Robert at the front desk seemed really cool and friendly Friday night. He asked if I would inform everyone that we would have to clear the lobby by 10:30pm. I happily did so, and around 10:20 he flashed the lights and quietly walked through our group. We took that as our queue to leave so we promptly left. Then the next day he complained to several of us how he's never seen a group as disrespectful as we were. Dude if you have a problem with us just say something, don't act all cool one day and then tell us we're terrible the next. Made no sense to us, but we get it, we're not welcome here. We'll take our $3k+ to another hotel next year, thanks bye..

I'm a detailed person when it come to hotels. And I noticed that behind the night stands was some cake wrappings. But other than that the room was nice beds very comfortable and other than the wrappers the room was clean. Good wifi no slow downs. So if your in the area drop in there if you can its worth it.

This hotel was absolutely one of the cleanest, best maintained properties I've every visited. The hotel staff was consistently helpful and friendly. Our room was very comfortable and well furnished. There is a restaurant/club attached to the hotel that offers typical casual dining. Food was good! The included breakfast was excellent with eggs, sausage, and potatoes all stacked and maintained by the breakfast attendant.

Rooms are spacious and clean with really comfortable beds and wonderful walk in shower. The swingbridge Restraunt in the facility has a wonderful menu and a friendly staff. Try the Mac and cheese and add some steamed vegetables and jalapeños

Everything was good from the check in until leaving. I do a lot of traveling and I-90 is one of the corridors I travel. Robert checked me in along with his quick witt may even defrost my car next time I stay there. LOL Nice bar - restaurant, good food at a fair price. Convenient on and off location. I have stayed there (3) times in the last (3) weeks and was not let down.

i had a very pleasant stay on a recent business trip. The rooms are very nicely updated, comfortable and clean. Staff was very friendly. The continental breakfast was great and I had no issues with my stay at all!

I asked 'management' the difference between Best Western and Best Western Plus---and they never responded. No complaints with this hotel. Get a room facing the back. Very quiet! Not much in the area, but if you want quiet--stay here. Good breakfast. Great beds. Good pillows. I'd go back.

This hotel is one of the best we've ever stayed it; it's new, well laid out, has wonderful employees, and an excellent restaurant on site. The suite was huge and very comfortable with a couch, two tv's, and a desk. Everything was clean and neat. One of the nicest things was the fact that the room was mostly uncarpeted except around and under the bed. It felt, and looked, so much cleaner than fully carpeted rooms that one usually finds in hotels. The bed was very comfortable and the towels were very large and fluffy. All employees were very helpful and accommodating. We were here for a reunion that goes to different places every year, so it's unlikely we'll be back to it, but we certainly would love to find a reason to go to this hotel again.

The Best Western Plus in La Crescent MN was a very nice facility. The staff are outstanding and the facility is well maintained. The only negative on our visit was the pool was a bit too cold but we warmed up at the outside gas firepit which was started by the staff for us.

The entire property is very clean and well organized although there could be more directional signs since Covid has removed most hand literature. We appreciated the connected bar & grill once we found our way. A pillow top type of bed would've been nice but since reasonably comfortable. The staff was over the top nice and out to please.

This Best Western is very clean, the staff is friendly, but the cost of the rooms was very high, by my estimation. We love staying at this property, but it was very costly. The pillows could be a bit nicer too.

We would recommend this Best Western to all travelers. The room was arranged so that it was roomy with many great features. We really liked the walk-in shower and the extra shelving for luggage, it was a pleasure to stay at such a clean and beautifully decorated property,

We had a very nice stay, I could not ask for a better place to spend time with brothers and family. The hotel staff was great and friendly. I enjoyed the willingness of staff to allow us to gather in lobby and breakfast room. The room was very clean, food and service was vey good. I would and plan to go back.

We only had one night but were impressed by the simple yet elegant decor. Having a refrigerator was a nice plus. It appeared to be fully booked that night and there was a bit of noise but not bad. Exceptional breakfast!

There was vomit on the air/heating unit. Microwave was not cleaned. We killed up to 7 spiders. Other than that the stay was good. Staff cared, listened. Breakfast was great. My kids said the pool was fun.

We have all positives to report. Clean, quiet, easy access. The room was very comfortable, bed was good and climate control was fine. Friendly staff and fellow travelers. We would go back. Nice to have a microwave and refrigerator in the room. Breakfast was good and lots of variety.

I stayed here with 2 dogs as I was traveling across the country. The laundry room was clean, and reasonable priced for a coin operated laundry. The attached restaurant had excellent food and friendly staff. The room itself was one of the largest and cleanest that I stayed at over a 10 day drive. I was pleasantly surprised when I checked in. since I had pets, I was also pleased to see that there was a rather large park adjacent to the hotel, in addition to the grass that was nearby.

My wife and I drove across the country from California, with our dog. This was the best motel/hotel we stayed at, in terms of comfort, friendliness, pet-friendliness, and overall value. Thank you for serving us.

This Best Western in LaCrescent, Minnesota, was a clean, friendly, well-maintained hotel. Our room was clean, comfortable, and very good, and the staff was absolutely very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the "heated pool" was VERY COLD! That was not pleasant. The value was pretty good, too.

This is a lovely place to stay. The lobby and breakfast areas are beautiful and the room was amazingly quiet...my room was near the lobby but I was not disturbed by noise. And the room was so clean and the bed lines smelled so fresh.

We were attending our daughters graduation from UW-LaCrosse. Everyone in our family that traveled to be there stayed at this property in La Crescent because it is so well run. We have stayed before and totally enjoyed the ammenities, staff, and attached Covered Bridge Restaurant and Bar. The Beds are really great and the rooms clean and fresh!

Visit the region of the Mississippi river, search as you might, you will not find a better place to stay than the Best western Plus in LaCrescent, Minnasota. Located across from LeCrosse, it is easily accessible from either direction as it sits on the Great River Road. Having a fantastic welcoming staff, adjoining bar/restaurant, fabulous breakfast and eating area along with all the amenities you expect, the hotel is basically new and modern. A refreshing stop at the end of a day.Our one day stay has committed us to returning to explore the area more in each different season. The bluffs and eagles, parks, events and river call one to return to this area. stay here !

Wedding venue was exceptional hotel, swing bridge restaurant and lacrescent event center A +++ Would recommend to anyone considering a wedding venue, traveling or just looking for a place to stay. Swing Bridge has very nice atmosphere excellent food.

This was a wonderful hotel! They had fresh local apples available and it felt like a luxury hotel experience. The bed was also super comfy! I was able to stay for a government rate since I was there for work so I am not sure about pricing for a regular stay.

The hotel is pretty new and is beautiful. Our room was clean. We liked the wood tiled floor. The bed was comfy. We liked the high shower head. We had immediate hot water. The whole hotel was very clean. Margie checked us in and was very helpful during our stay. The attached bar/restaurant was very good, although it is not run by the hotel. It was convenient after driving and touring most of the day. We will stay here again. We have no complaints.

Wonderful experience at this hotel!! Welcoming, spacious lobby....beautiful rooms.....plenty of space....pool was nice size and not too deep (4'6") at deepest part....important since we had 7 grandkids in our group! Breakfast was tasty and offered many selections.....

My family and I stayed one night over Applefest. Hotel is CLEAN and very nice! Our room had a beautiful Apple photo print hanging on the wall-fitting for Applefest weekend. Beds/pillows are comfy. Breakfast was great! The young man overseeing breakfast did a great job keeping it full and clean. Pool was a little cold, that's my only complaint. There is also a new park behind the hotel for kids.

We were spending time seeing this part of the Mississippi and stayed here. Our first pleasant surprise was at check in. We were an hour early, the room we booked was not ready, so the very wonderful people at the desk upgraded us to a suite! All the staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is very welcoming, clean, and quiet. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. My only complaint (and this is normal for me), is that there is not enough light in the room for a person who does some form of needlework - but that is a minor gripe.

We finally found our go-to hotel for out visits to La Crosse. It was extremely clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the location was right by the interstate and restaurant. It was also safe enough to go out on an evening stroll through the town.

Stayed here for the weekend to attend a class reunion and found this Hotel to be very nice. Clean rooms with high ceilings and nice wooden floors(thats a first for me and I like it). Check in went very smooth even having a room available for us early after a long drive. The breakfast was ok..I don't think its back to its full set up yet, but I was happy with the breakfast burrito and some oj! Its nice & convenient to have their on site lounge/ restaurant which was perfect for a craft beer or their famous margaritas!! We usually stay across the river in La Crosse but this was a nice change. would recommend and will stay here again! Only downfall was parking. We ended up having to park in the adjacent park but there was a wedding and reunion and a new popular eatery so I can understand and a short walk is always good!

Room was very comfortable. Loved the lobby. The restaurant /pub attached called The Swingbridge was fantastic. Try the mac and cheese or fish bar has drinks Made with habanero infused tequila. All vegetables grown locally

Nice place to stop on our way across the country. The pool is open! Many places we stopped still have their pools closed for Covid but this one was open and was nice and did not overwhelm with chlorine. The room was comfortable. The laundry facility was clean and reasonable ($1 each machine). We drove 5 minutes to see Lock and Dam 7 and I recommend it. Also close by is Great River Bluffs state park.

We stayed one night and it was so clean and the staff was so pleasant. Breakfast was great the rooms were awesome, very comfortable. We stayed with friends and all agree this was the nicest hotel we stayed out on our trip. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent room and amenities. Breakfast was lovely and staff was kind. We had the nice pool to ourselves when we stayed too. I loved the two tv set up and bar sink area. The only downside is no blackout curtains and we stayed on room on backside of. Building and parking lot lights were very bright illuminating the room. I'd bring a sleep mask if that may be an issue for you. The laundry facility was excellent.

We stayed 1 night while traveling through to South Dakota. The room was clean and beautiful. The staff was friendly. Didn't hear any noise around us. Breakfast was minimal (due to covid) but was happy to have hot and cold food options!

Absolutely gorgeous hotel lobby. And the rooms seem brand new with hard floors- so clean and crisp. And the hotel staff makes sure your stay is perfect. The gym was fantastic and the equipment was very nice. It must be a great pool as many people were enjoying it while my husband and I were working out. Breakfast was very nice also.

Staff was very friendly. Our AC unit was not working and they had a repair crew sent up quickly. They could not fix it right away and they switched us to a new room and took care of us. The restaurant is excellent with a great staff. We had a great stay!

La Crescent is just a skip from a gorgeous rest area on the Mississippi. It has an adjacent bar/restaurant as well as one just across the street. Perfect location. Rooms are new, clean, great TV and amenities.Would definitley choose this one again.

The motel was easy to locate. Corky's Pizza nearby had excellent food and ice cream. The breakfast was limited due to Covid, but was still ample. The internet signal was weak in the morning which sounds like an ongoing problem at their location.

It was awesome for the most part. But the pool water was cold. But I definitely will be back there loved it. Breakfast was good. Loved the location. Awesome job on the lobby it felt like home. I liked the seating area.

Great location and easy to get to from the hwy. Hotel was nice and tidy, the staff was helpful and courteous, dining next to and near hotel. We traveled as a team and were in and out often but the staff never complained and always asked about our games!

This was a beautiful stay. The property was kept immaculate and everyone was so pet friendly and welcoming. I am thrilled that the room did not have carpet and the flooring was spotless. I was surprised by the selection for breakfast and loved the option to grab it and go. Plenty of choices and they took the necessary Covid precautions. I loved how quiet it was in the room, especially since it seemed liked they were packed. I will definitely be staying there again!

This property is very nice and seems very new or maybe it's been renovated recently. The room was very clean and comfortable, and I really liked the nice big walk-in shower. It had both a refrigerator and a microwave, and I am increasingly seeing nice hotels that don't have one or both. The TV was reasonably sized, not huge but not one of these postage stamp TVs you see quite often. The continental breakfast was better than most, with a really big selection with lots of yogurts and pastries and fruit and breakfast sandwiches you could heat up. One minor downside is that there is not a much in the way of restaurants or stores nearby. Just one pizza joint and a gas station nearby is all. It's a few miles to drive in to La Crosse to where all the stores and restaurants are. Other than that this was a wonderful place with really reasonable rates

Often there is too much time spent speaking negatively about a business. We forget to focus our attention on the positive moments, like the one I had at the Best Western in La Crescent MN. The manager at this location fixed a mistake, and the outcome left me speechless and forever grateful. This location is incredibly decorated, comfortable, and the staff is incredible. Honestly, I am so impressed and hope you guys keep up the great work!

The family and I really enjoyed our stay here at best western. The kids enjoyed the pool and the spacious room we had also the king size bed! I really appreciated the service and quality of the hotel and the room. Easy check in and easy check out. The pullout couch could have been a bit more comfortable and the breakfast was ok for a paper bag breakfast. Kids were a little disappointed because they were out of a couple things they had requested. But overall great and I'll be staying there again soon!

I travel frequently for with my job and I must say I have not felt more at ease than I did for my stay in La crescent. The lobby is beautiful with modern elegant styling accented by an alabaster backed front desk. Truly a beautiful place to stay. While I have stayed at many hotels in the area, this one beats them all for cleanliness and staff. Upon my arrival, Mark had welcomed me warmly, even at the late hours of the night. The following night my forgetful-self was reassured by the knowledgeable GM Madeline on breakfast procedure. To be honest I was surprised to find a GM working that late and handling my mundane questions but felt at ease by her confidence and energetic persona. All in all an excellently ran establishment. 10/10 would stay here again.

Good location for seeing fall colors of the lacrosse area and hiking. Good amenities. Very helpful staff who really went the extra mile during this pandemic. The manager of this hotel is really good and hard working. Very clean.

We were able to bring our husky on this trip. The dog & I spent time in the room & hiking. While my family member went hunting. It was a great experience. The front desk staff was friendly & accommodating.

My family and I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus in La Crescent, Minnesota. The hotel was very clean. It appears to be a newer property. The decor is modern. The saline pool was warm and felt great after a being outside on a chilly day. The staff was super friendly. The breakfast, though modified for COVID, was good - many delicious options. The food at the attached Swing Bridge Pub was great! I ordered a burger and it was served on an artisan bun - Very Good.

Having never been to the area, we had no idea what we were getting into and were pleasantly surprised by how lovely this hotel is and the surrounding area. The location is ideal for many tourist attractions including Grandad Bluffs, Shrine of Guadalupe (which is beautiful) and LaCrosse, WI and quaint city. Also there is a nice pub attached to the hotel which is so convenient after a long day of sightseeing. I believe it's part of the Event center which we did not explore. We're from Michigan and we have no idea why we haven't visited Wisconsin/ Minnesota before but will definitely be coming back and staying here again.

This is a newer hotel, about a year old. The staff was very 'Minnesota friendly' a good thing. The room was spotless. The walk in shower was great. Internet worked flawlessly. Breakfast was simple but good. The place fits the neighborhood with out being overwhelming. We chose this as it was next-door to friends we were visiting. Their COVID response was thorough but un-intrusive as possible.

Property looks like new. Everything very clean. Room was spacious, looks new. Staff was great. It was very nice to have a good hot breakfast. Most other hotels are doing "grab and go" breakfasts that aren't very good. I would definately stay here again.

Stayed here the 2nd night of our 2 week roadtrip and it was perfect. Clean room, comfy beds, friendly staff, covid conscious and easy to find. We arrived at 8:30 and luckily the hotel restaurant was still open. Staff is super friendly and the food was decent. A great choice for a quick overnight stay.

My wife and I stayed here on our little mini vacation. The location is quick and easy to La Crosse. Hotel is in a quiet area right off of 14. Everything was really clean, our room didn't have much of a view but that's ok. The amenities we used we enjoyed, the pool was nice. Not really deep but still fun for a quick swim. Breakfast was good with a variety of choices.

We were visiting our son in La Crosse, but chose to stay in MN because of this fairly new hotel. Previous reviews were helpful and spot on. Hotel was CLEAN! Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Amenities were very nice. Enjoyed the attached restaurant/bar, and the fire pit with couch seating. Everything was in great working order. Perfect location. Perfect stay!

I stayed one night on business in the hotel. It's in a great location - easy to drive too, close to gas station and restaurant. Short distance over a bridge to La Crosse and their beautiful Riverwalk. The hotel seemed brand new even though it wasn't. Terrific amenities - everything you would need, VERY clean, modern, friendly down-to-earth employees. Comfortable, spacious room, including bathroom. I would definitely like to return and explore the area further and stay here.

The hotel was in great condition and very clean. The people who worked there (in any capacity) were helpful and very friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. We will be staying here the next time we are in the La Crescent / Hokah MN area.

I was very happy with this hotel and would recommend it to anyone visiting the La Crescent area. We are a hockey team with about 20 players. The staff was super friendly and accomodated all of our needs. The hotel was very clean as well. The lobby area was large enough to allow parents socialize after the games. In addition, we were also able to reserve a meeting room. Finally, we found some live entertainment and restaurant within walking distance of the hotel.

brand new last spring .it was decorated very tastefully. Everyone was friendly and helpful desk, maids, and janitors. The breakfast was awesome had many choices spent 2 nights and different offerings each morning. Easy to find. we were there over valentines the goodie bag and the heart made of towels on the bed were an extra nice touch

We stayed at this property for a weekend and enjoyed our stay very much. The staff are very helpful. Wish I remembered the desk attendants names and that of the lady getting the breakfast prepared as they were wonderful. Speaking of the breakfast, it easily had the most variety of any hotel breakfast I have ever partaken of. YUM YUM.

This hotel is amazing. Reasonably priced and everything you could ask for. Clean, modern and new, we wish we could have stayed longer. The entire building was brand new and quite stylish. Service was excellent. The cleaning crew even left free popcorn and sweet notes. 10/10 would stay again and again.

Great amenities including large room and bath, great clean pool (no chlorine!), super helpful and friendly staff. Everything was new and very clean. Breakfast was awesome--so many choices and also GF options! Overall, a great experience. Would highly recommend.

I stay here for business in La Crosse and La Crescent. I enjoy staying here versus staying in downtown La Crosse and paying more. Hotel and amenities are very comparable to downtown hotels for a lower price.

This is a new facility with excellent staff and a great location. I travel much of the year and so I consider myself fairly knowledgeable regarding price and what is offered. As I said, "Great place...great price."

The pool that i did not use was a salt water pool Not hot tub. But did kot have time for that anyway Staff were always smiling and helpful Definitely a place to stop next time.

Great accommodations and excellent service! This brand new hotel is beautiful, modern and quiet. There are eating venues in walking distance and it's close to the interstate but has a cozy, safe, small town feel. Highly recommended!

I would highly recommend this lodging to anyone! I was in town for a funeral, and to visit friends. The staff was very helpful. The saline swimming pool is nice for those with chemical allergies to chorine.

Just recently stayed here. Gorgeous and clean hotel! Check in was quick. Pool area nice-even though it is on the small side and the Saturday night we were there it was busy. Downside was after going to check out the Rotary Lights in La Crosse-parking at the hotel was difficult. The attached event center/restaurant had 2 events taking place-so it took a long time to find parking. The lot is not huge-and parking out back is virtually non-existent. We liked the hard flooring vs carpet in the room-and really it wasn't any louder than any other hotel either. Stayed on the 2nd floor and it offered a little view of the river/back waters of Mississippi so that was nice! Breakfast was very good as well. We'd stay again-as it is a more reasonably priced option than the downtown La Crosse hotel options!

Stayed for 2 nights to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel is beautiful and staff was exceptional. Dinner in the bar was very good. Really enjoyed staying here and will likely come again. I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel was built in May of 2019 so wasn't even a year old. The in exhotel was excellent condition and the staff was absolutely wonderful. We were there for a Military dinner and the event center & bar were wonderful too!!!

The Best Western Plus is an excellent choice; situated close to surrounding communities-Hokah, Houston, La Crosse, and just a great place to stay. It has a Lounge/Restaurant/Breakfast included in stay. Lots of amenties we didn't have time to utilize and the City of La Crescent, Houston County have a ton of options for hiking, scenic drives, etc.

Great Best Western Location; clean, modern design, quiet. The staff was helpful, breakfast was good. Great location close to La Cross Wisconsin. We would for sure stay at the Best Western La Crescent again.

LaCrescent is my hometown and for years we've been trekking over the river to sleep with our young family when my parents home is extra full for holidays. We were so excited to try the new hotel and were even more excited that it was GREAT! Wonderful staff, very clean, well laid out, great rooms, local touches, quiet and easy to sleep! Pool and breakfast were excellent too! We'll be back!

Hotel seemed pretty new but had to wait at the front desk for couple minutes before someone greeted me. When they came to the front desk they were eating something and their shirt wasn't tucked in. We checked in pretty late so all we wanted to do was crash and go to sleep. Unfortunately I discovered one of the beds was not clean and had hair all over it. I slept in a chair that night because I was so tired.

I could hear people on both sides talking. I could not hear the words, but what appeared to normal voice conversations (Male and female through the walls). This also made myself feel uncomfortable due to having my children with and if this made it worse for my neighbors. The pool was small, which is okay, but SO cold! My kid's lips were blue after 5 minutes. Finally big pool towels though! The road noise was also loud due to semi trucks going by throughout the night. Rough way to sleep.

Best Western LaCrescent beautiful hotel excellent staff great experience!!Breakfast was delicious the attendant was friendly and professional. The manager was very helpful and professional. Room was one of the nicest I have ever stayed in.

The decor and staff say it all. Very pleased with my experience and will definately be back. Great amenities and service as well as the rooms are very comfortable and tastefully done, everything was immaculate.

The overall decor of the facilities was amazing. Possibly the nicest motel I've stayed in. The PLUS has definitely been earned with this motel. The location is close to Lacrosse and there is a lot of eating choices along with plenty of things to do while you are there.

First, I must compliment the staff. The couple at reception were professional, but friendly in a way that I felt more like a houseguest and not like just another customer. In fact we dealt with many and they were all friendly in a natural way. The building is only a few months old, and spotless. The design makes the lobby area feel homey, with multiple types of seating areas, fireplaces, televisions, eating areas, all warmly decorated, yet classy. Big bowls of various local apples and coffee areas added a special touch. I can't imagine how our room could have been better. It was beautiful, calming, and so functional. I loved the softening of the bathroom by floating the mirror in front of the lights. Typical hotel bathrooms are functional, yet stark. This one looked homey yet elegant. The spacing of the fixtures allowed full access to the whole wall of sink area. I want to remodel my bathroom like this. My only change would be to move the ironing board off the back wall of the closet. The closet hanging space is small, but would likely be sufficient if you could use the entire space. But you can't hang items in front of the ironing board. Come winter coat and boots season, the closet won't work. But I love the spacial arrangement and the lighting if each space, which is so important, plenty to see at each area without being too bright for someone sleeping or doing something else. The mini kitchen area is what I loved most. It had plenty of counter space, which is important to me because I have dietary issues and always bring my own food when traveling. Having a good size, well laid out refrigerator and microwave under the counter was everything I needed. Plus a tray with sides was so handy to be able to carry my food without worrying about spilling in the beautiful room. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. The heating/ac unit did a good job quickly without being drafty, which is handy if you have the bed next to it. We had a double queen room which left space for a comfortable chair for watching television. (I wonder if they don't have that in King rooms due to the space needed for the larger beds?) Breakfast was the best bonus. We could start our days without needing to spend time in a restaurant, yet had plenty of nutritious food to eat, not just the junk that you shouldn't eat. I am a health but, so this was important. But I was glad to see they also had plenty of options for those who preferred pastries, etc. Toast, muffins, yogurts, milk, juices, fresh fruit options, cereal, oatmeals (while not plain and unsweetened), hard boiled eggs, hot eggs (with ham and cheese one morning, scrambled the next), sausages, salsa and toppings, and probably something I missed. The staff serving this area were friendly and made sure we had all we needed, plus kept the area spotless. Great job! And having the food arranged along three walls in a room that is closed off when not breakfast time allows setup and teardown without interfering with guests using the dining area, where there is still availability to coffee. (Along with coffee and popcorn in the rooms). We didn't have time to use the pool or fitness area this time, but maybe next time. However, I do wish they had a hot tub. I have stayed in many places around the world, and can't believe how impressed I am with this Best Western.

This space is awesome! Very clean and modern lobby as well as rooms. The staff is super friendly and they were great to accommodate our request of a first floor room. Make sure you're up for the breakfast! It was a lot better than many hotel breakfasts I've had. Over all a wonderful place to stay! I will be looking at more Best Westerns during my travels!

Best Western should be proud of this motel. Brand new with up to date features and a local staff that wants to please from arrival to departure. Comfortable beds, speedy WiFi, Delicious breakfast options and restaurant/bar on site for additional meals.

Highly recommend the BW+ in LaCrescent. Modern interior, clean, quiet & comfortable rooms. Exterior decor was cheerful & welcoming. Spent time on the patio with friends & enjoyed the fireplace table. Everyone of the staff was welcoming & helpful.

We stayed here on the last night of a two week road trip, and this hotel was by far the nicest one we experienced. Clean, beautiful lobby; clean, fresh smelling room with a comfortable, firm bed; and a better than usual breakfast. In addition to the typical eggs, sausage, waffles available at most hotels these days, the breakfast featured fresh sweetrolls and fresh fruit salad. The adjoining restaurant was good, and the park next to the hotel had a nice trail that was perfect for walking our dog. We will definitely stay here again when we return to the area to spend more time exploring the hiking trails along the Mississippi.

On a 14 day road trip up the Great MS River Road, this was without a doubt our best hotel! It is a new facility with wonderful amenities, including a fast EV charger for plug-in vehicles. The hotel is spotless, staff is very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was wonderful. We used the on-site restaurant because there was torrential rain and a tornado watch, so we chose not to travel to La Crosse for dinner. The food and brews were great, service was good and the staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the area.

Surprisingly nice! Looked like a more upscale hotel. A top hotel in the area We were there during festival so room was peak price. I don't know what rates are outside of this time. The place is brand new

This new Best Western, right across the river from LaCrosse, was one of the only places NOT completely filled on some last minute dates I needed to travel. It has generally excellent soundproofing, with 1 exception being an exterior wall near the restaurant, first floor, so avoid that if you are a light sleeper. Being recently opened this hotel is a showcase! I will look forward to staying here again!

It was, by far, the best Best Western that we have stayed at. Absolutely great service, beautiful room, quiet environment, pet-friendly, many breakfast options, safe and convenient parking, and very reasonable price.

I travel to LaCrosse a few times a year and have been staying at Hampton Inn Downtown for the last few years. They were sold out for a weekend I was looking to stay there so in looking at other hotel I saw Best Western Plus had great reviews and was a new hotel not far away. The lady I spoke to on the phone told me if I sign up for their free Rewards program I get a discount on the room so you can bet I did that. When checking into the room, the Front Desk girl, Jill, was very nice. By the Front Desk they have a bowl of Apples from a local Orchard. Jill informed me that LaCrescent is Apple Capital so they gets apples from a local Orchard in season for the guests to have. That was a very nice touch and I had no idea about that. The rooms was decently sized and clean. There were 3 things in the room that I have never seen another hotel do before. First they have microwavable popcorn in the room for the guest for free (this is way better than a cookie at Hampton). They also have a special requests card that guests can fill out and also a way to customize your housekeeping service. Pool is Salt Water which I LOVE and it doesn't have the smell of chlorine like regular pools have. No hot tub though. Breakfast in the morning was good. Huge variety of options. They also get donuts from a local bakery delivered daily. That was awesome to find out and I love that they give you a taste of the local places here. The only thing I didn't like was that the milk was in the half-gallons, I much prefer to have the little milk boxes. Although I did see Silk milk, so that was nice they cater to different dietary people. Grab and Go had a variety of bars to choose from, fruit and full size water bottles. I like that you can make your own bag up and they give you a variety to choose from rather than have the bag ready to go and you get what you get like they have at Hampton. I was really impressed with everything here. Cleanliness was great everywhere, they really pay attention to the small details, and give you a lot of extras you don't expect. Since this was only about a 5 min drive from downtown LaCrosse I will definitely be back and staying at this hotel again.

This BW reward is a great hotel. Having booked early, was able to get a great rate for overnight. The beds were great too. Breakfast buffet was great and ample for a hearty appetite. Highly recommend this BW rewards hotel.

We had a very comfortable stay. I love the flooring and lighting of a very spacious room. Comfortable bed and great night of sleep. Breakfast did not disappoint. Staff was very helpful. We will be sure to return when visiting again.

The hotel is lovely, new, dog friendly, and has a wonderful staff who were all very helpful, kind and appreciative from our booking via phone, to our arrival at midnight! The breakfasts were delicious with local produce and pastries and the staff was very attentive. They even had options for my vegan parents. The GM is great too!!

Lovely stay, hotel runs smoothly and everything's sparkling beautiful. BREAKFAST IS GREAT! I don't know how it's possible to sometimes do magic on creamy scrambled eggs and sausage but they were so moist and perfect. Fresh cut tropical fruit. Fresh blueberries. I was blown away.

Didn't have a hot tub. Slight error on the bill, but they did correct it, but if We wouldn't have caught the error would have over paid. Also could have used a side chair for watching TV. Breakfast was good, sweet rooms actually tasted very fresh and flavorful. Some of the BW +'s offer snacks when you check in, this one offered just coffee. If we were going back to La Cross would certainly consider staying there again.

I'm so glad we found this great hotel on our recent trip via motorcycles down the Great River Rd. The room was very nicely decorated, my husband loved the firmness of the bed, the bathroom had a night light and there was even microwave popcorn! Little touches mean a lot and we will definitely stay here again.

There's nothing really to say here. Absolutely no problems whatsoever. Amazing brand new property. If you are in this area this is the top-notch hotel. It's literally right across. Would highly recommend this hotel to anybody!

Nice appearance, easy access, friendly staff, good amenities, etc. Lounge (American Legion) was nice. Problems came with the room. First issue was the bathroom door would not close without forcefully shoving it shut. The door was too large for the frame and this should have been found during the final walk through when construction was finished. Then the A/C started off with a bang and took awhile to get going -- and was overly noisy every time it kicked in. Another new hotel issue that should have been caught before guests. The BIG issue was the room directly above us. Whoever was in it came crashing in at 1 am and then walked back and forth steadily until 6 am. Arguably the worst night I've had in a hotel in a long, long time. Told the young man at the front desk on the way out, and he was "sorry". Thanks. Probably won't be back.

This is a new property and the room was more than adequate. My husband even took pictures of the room (especially of the handicapped bathroom) for our own renovations. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly.

Excellent hotel in a perfect location. Brand new !!! All staff were very friendly. On checkout day, we asked for a later checkout, and the gentleman at the front desk gave us 2 hours !!! We missed breakfast, but there were sweet rolls and coffee available. Overall, an excellent experience. We would definitely stay at the LaCrescent, MN location again.

What a great addition to this community. This is a top notch hotel. Excellent friendly staff. Great location with many amenities. Delicious breakfast served. Great access to the new event center and Swing Bridge Pub with close by dining options. We are here for an extended stay and are really impressed.

Beautiful new building with great service. Breakfast had several options (including gluten free choices) and was delicious. The rooms were spacious with lots of comfy pillows. Pool but no hot-tub, but the rest of the family didn't mind that. The amazing price made up for the lack of hot-tub. Also had issues staying connected to wi-fi, but was not a deal breaker. Would still absolutely recommend.
