SureStay by Best Western Grayson

Very friendly staff clean breakfast was OK but it could've been more of a selection and kept food there instead of running out all the time overall experience 4 out of 5 but they don't have an elevator and we were on the second floor so that kind of makes it a bummer for an older couple or person who has hip or knee problems they do allow service animals but you have a $250 deposit, but at least we was able to travel with our pet so that's a 5 out of 5 overall experience out of 10 I'd say a 91/2

Great staff and great breakfast! The hotel was super clean and the pool was a nice feature! Breakfast was always hot and there was not a time that biscuits and sausage weren't in there. They always had it restocked immediately. The rooms were great!

This was our first time visiting Surestay and it was a great experience. Friendly staff and comfortable beds while we were visiting our son at KCU. We will be back when we are in town to see our son and watch his football gamers and simply to visit.

Staff was great! Room was filthy! AC had mold in vents! Neighbor with common door smoking drugs and cigarettes stunk so bad we couldnt sleep! Had to call dront desk at 1 am about the neighbor because my 5 year old couldnt sleep and kept crying about the smell. Within mins the front desk took care of it and we didnt smell it again. We didnt okan on waking up at 6 am but we were ready to get out of there so packed and went to eat. Breakfast was sub par. Nothing good about it. The pool does look like the pics which was nice. Lady and gentleman working over night both fantastic. Hotel gross. NO ELEVATOR! We didn't even take a shower because I was afraid we would get fungus. We high tailed it to the holiday Inn in ashland for the remainder of our trip

The staff and attention to detail was on par with a 5-star hotel. Its not the most modern but the staff more than compensate for "luxury" amenities. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. They truly appreciate your business and their actions prove it whether its a one time or multiple day stay!

My parents have been visiting this hotel for years because it is the midpoint between our homes and my dad's childhood home. It is a great value, clean and the staff are attentive and helpful, especially Heather. I began travelling with my parents when my mom developed dementia and mobility issues. These trips now require first floor accomodations, late arrivals and a good deal of patience. Our 2 visits to SureStay by Best Western this month were great specifically because Heather, who came to the rescue when a toilet seat needed replaced. She found a new replacement and went in and worked her magic. Quickly there was a brand new seat! She was at the front desk when we checked in late, on both the way into my dad's hometown and 11 days later on the way home. She took our reservations both days about 6 hours before we showed up after 10 pm. On the first leg of the trip she was also back on duty by 9 am to check us out! She helped us get all we needed for mom. She was engaging and kind when it would have been easier for her to just process the info so late at night. On the second leg of the trip, she remembered when we booked the reservation and then she made sure our room was a very short walk for mom without our even thinking to request it. I look forward to our annual trip through Grayson at SureStay because of her. The breakfast is hearty and warm and while I have not used it the saltwater pool looks great too! They have two ice machines but the one on the first floor does not work right now.
