Great room, clean, ac felt a bit humid. but comfortable. parking is an issue at times. but the check -in was quick as was the check-out, rooms are large, if you have children that require air mattresses. Great pleasant stay.

Employees were kind and took pride in their work. The rooms were great. All contact made with this hotel whether by phone or in person was great. They were patient and kind no matter our questions or requests. For sure my place to stay out next trip out! FYI THE BREAKFAST IS AMAZING!!

We had lost power due to the ice storm. We were amazingly lucky to find a room. We were accommodated just as we asked. They were very kind and understanding, especially since my mother is disabled. We were completely satisfied. Thank you so much for everything your staff did for our family.

Staff was very polite and friendly, the manager to this location was very helpful room was gorgeous, I loved the citric shampoo conditioner and body wash, beds were extremely comfortable! The tv and cable guide was easy to use

We stayed for 3 nights. During this time we took advantage of the pool which was very clean and breakfast to go. The food was delicious!! Very affordable for a suite and clean. Where the hotel is located there are many options for food and shopping. Very close to a Starbucks for coffee as well.

We were excited to find the lounge area open. We enjoyed a drink while watching the big screen. They were able to do a normal breakfast because of Covid restictions, but what we received was great. Homemade breakfast burrito (outstanding!), muffin, danish and granola bar.

The room was the worst I've ever been in,as soon as you walk in you get hit with the smell of smoke so bad we had trouble sleeping. It said was a non smoking room but that's BS because it smelled like someone had been smoking in there for months.

It's 11 pm as I write this and I can't sleep due to the extremely loud music coming from the bar. I called the front desk to ask how long this would be going on and was told until 2 am. That's the time the clock moves up an hour so I'm losing sleep because of that and to top it off the loud music and people are another reason! I asked if they could turn the music down and was told she would ask the DJ but there was no guarantee. I'm livid and I told her I would never be staying here again. We've been coming here through the years, but had never experienced anything like this. If you're wanting to get to sleep at a decent hour without the loud music, bass and people, stay somewhere else!

This property is top-notch in every way. And, at a super value to boot! Comfort, cleanliness, customer service, convenience and cost are all superb - as good as, or better than any of the high end, high dollar options in the area. Everything was in order - all the exercise equipment even worked. Miros, our breakfast lady was an awesome bright start to our day! We were only there 3 days but, were kinda sad to leave when it came time. The property itself is great but, Miros made it special.

Rooms were very clean, breakfast was awesome. Really good food. The bar was great . Everyone was friendly and lots of lighted parking area. Will stay there again. We were traveling in two vehicle and when we checked out on Monday morning I asked them if we could leave one vehicle there cause we still had some shopping to do and the said no problem. It will be ok.

Edinburg BW Plus is still one of my favorite places to stay as it is always clean with friendly staff and all a traveler needs to have available and even a cocktail lounge not found in MOST ground level hotels. Now they are offering one free drink with your stay and a discount on the others. This is a cozy U shape location with 2 levels, good bath linens and a freezer in the fridge, pool, large TV, comfortable bed, large rooms, and one thing I have always noticed is the maintenance guys, they are always busy keeping things in order and there have been just about nothing in the years I have been visiting here that is out of order except the ice machine on one side once. Slide on in here to a well kept older property with all the updates for tofays traveler!

Ms. Miros was so amazing in her hospitality at breakfast time! The breakfast was really good! And the coffee much appreciated! The room was clean and spacious. The lady who checked us in was also very nice. Good experience over all!

I tried to submit this review once and it messed up so will try again. We travel a lot and expect consistencies within a brand. But this wasn't what we were used to for a BW Plus hotel. The exterior isn't accurately reflected on travel sites‘ pictures. It looks like a somewhat remodeled old motel style hotel with each exterior door facing the parking lot. The door itself had about a 1 inch gap at the bottom that allowed for lots of light and noise to come into the room. (I'm glad I'm not paying that electric bill.) In regards to noise, the walls are paper thin. We heard EVERYTHING the people above/next to us said and did. While I could live with that it was the shocking awakening at 4am that got to me. We heard something similar to a generator starting up type of noise that woke us both up at the same time from a dead sleep. We finally realized it was bc one of the ppl above/next to us turned on their bathroom fan. Truly scared us and woke us both up. After that we never really got back to sleep well. We dozed off and on until the sun came up and the light from under the door was shining into the room. The bed itself wasn't terrible but the pillows were super small, more like the size of throw pillows. It would take 2 to make the size of one average pillow. The overall room decor was somewhat worn and out-dated. Again just not what I have seen from other BW Plus hotels. I seldom write negative reviews because we do stick with certain brand hotels. But even my husband said “be sure and write an honest review on this place”. The staff we interacted with were all very nice so I hate to sound petty but I wouldn't stay here again. There's several other hotels in the immediate vicinity of this one and if we ever return I would try one of those instead.

We were very satisfied with the staff and the hotel very clean and nice the rooms were very comfortable and the continental breakfasts was awesome the lady cooking was very good cook and made home made flower tortillas I recommend you visit this hotel i know ill be back

Stayed a couple nights and the only problem was the clunky AC. Great space - bedroom separate from sitting room, 2 TVs, friendly staff, food truck in the parking lot and very close to everything. Breakfast catered to breakfast tacos - would have liked eggs & bacon not diced up.

The breakfast was absolutely tasty, the breakfast lady was more than helpful and very friendly. The only small issue was the soap dispenser (128) I think may be clogged, but we had our own, so it was fine.

Great experience for the price! We were on a budget and stayed well within. This was a step up from where we stayed the night before. I have to say the overall bed was amazing. We all had a great nights sleep, didn't want to leave the next morning. The breakfast bar was fresh with a ton of varieties of food options. There was a woman making fresh tortillas there, this is what my kids loved the most.

It was a great place. We will stay there again. The burger truck out front was great food. The breakfast was very good had a good selection of foods to choose from. The front desk staff was explaining the sign up for discounts.

We came to The Valley due to a family emergency. The Best Western Plus in Edinburg is always the place we stay while here. The rooms are clean and the staff is great. They also have an awesome breakfast bar.

I've stayed at this BW a number of times over the past few years and always found the place to be clean & quiet. Their breakfasts have been similarly good, with diversity of both sweet and savory, but my recent visit topped all previous visits. The cook who was new to me, Ms Miros Azura, prepared fine items that were fresh and ready when I got there. Her salsas were top notch too. I look forward to my next visit to the South Rio Grande Valley.

Room was big. I stayed in the 2 queen bed suite. It had a separate living room and a door to close to the bedroom. The fridge in my room actually worked and was cold. Most hotels even 5* have fridges but they're always messing up. It was a med size fridge so we were able to put a cake inside as well as our gallon water bottle and tea bottles. Very spacious room.

Always stay here when in Edinburg. Maid service was missed 1 day. Came by at 3:30 pm. Lounge was good. Tuesday-Grumpy bartender. Wednesday-smiling,friendly, and attentive. Breakfast- sweet rolls old, stale. Internet-OK, not the fastest. Staff at front desk was very accomodating

This is not a Best Western Plus. It is an old two story motel with worn carpets. The staff was fine and they do have a bar on site with drink specials. Breakfast was fine but you don't go to a motel for the breakfast.

I was there for a funeral. It was conveniently located and easy to come and go without alot of traffic. I was there weekend before to visit friend in hospice. Enjoyed it so much I came back for the funeral.

Great one night stay! I missed breakfast regrettably but my helpers told me it was off the chain, I had a very pleasant stay, easy check in, room was awesome as it was upgraded to a suite and both rooms had huge t v.'s!

Yes, approaching my room at San Isidro Inn (Laredo), I gathered a scent of new paint baking in the late afternoon sun, and thought, "They never stop maintenance on this place" Which is A good thing! Like the cruise ships, they paint them year round. That is the way it is here. Always improving. I can't say enough about this oasis in a stream of miles and overnights. Best Breakfast of any location I have been to, of course there is usually some Mexican style food influences, and why not? That includes many of the upscale high rise type of hotels. All the great room amenities except no little plastic single cup coffee maker, Keurig is in these rooms! Great bath linens, Large TV, very nice bed, good A/C, Fridge (w/freezer) micro wave, wonderful pool, Just go there!

Excellent and right close to the mall . We come to visit the church in San Juan we had stayed at others hotel. But the Best Western was more nicer and Like I said close to mall and restaurants and that burger buggy hit the spot.

Multiple failures on the part of the hotel. They couldnt switch us to a comparable room that had working A/C. Mirabel at 956-655-2805 followed up and promised on two different occations she would adjust the room rate and never did. Very disappointing service.

The hotel is tired and needs to be updated. Housekeeping skipped my room the first day. Breakfast was quite modest. I recommend other hotels in the area. The staff was friendly. There are many restaurants in the area and the hotel is close to shopping.

I have stayed twice at this hotel and we love it. its close to pretty much everything and the bar is the best. So after shopping most of the day we come back and unwind without having to drive anywhere

The hotel was incredible. A friendly staff and comfortable rooms. I stayed in a king suite and enjoyed every minute. An awesome food truck in front of the hotel. The pool looked enjoyable and relaxing.

I stay at this BW property because it is off the heavily beaten path of the freeway and on a slightly less beaten path of business 281. Property is neat and well kept, well appointed, well updated with all expected room amenities like mirowave, fridge WITH FREEZER, large TV, very good bath linens, dispensed soap and shampoo, comfy beds, nice standard breakfast, and a lounge that opens around 4 PM in the lobby area. Only drawback is carpets are still in rooms and sometimes hold odors from previous occupants but nothing overwhelming. I like this location due to the fact it is about in the center of my movement when in the valley. Very nice and friendly folks are there to greet you when you arrive. This is one of my favorite hotels to stay at and has been for a long time now. Drop in and check them out, and get down in the Valley

Over all my stay at the Edinburg Best Western was pleasant except we got a room on the second floor . And since I have bad knees it made it tough going up and down those stairs. The front desk lady did offer a first floor room but it was a smoking room.So she did offer another option.Next time if decide to stay with Best Western I will make sure it's a first floor.

I did not spend much time in my room. The front desk was amazing and nice. It would have been given a 5 but none of the remote controls worked. They had a safety that was crazy to figure out. I am sure I could have called the front desk and got help but why make it so hard. Overall, nice place and friendly service.

Restaurants and grocery stores were nearby. Nice community to explore. the hotel staff were exceptional. They were very friendly and helpful. WiFi was a little temperamental but still useable. breakfast was a hot breakfast. We found the quality depended on the staff working that day. some days could have been a little fresher.

Our family gathered at the Best Western Plus in Edinburg Texas on Canton Road and had a very nice experience. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with nice amenities. We had a rousing card game in the lounge on a Saturday night and they were very accommodating. Especially Elizabeth at the front desk in making extra cookies for us and fresh coffee. She did a fabulous job at making us feel happy and right at home.

Nice place. Always clean. Staff is cordial. But the WiFi is the worst in the area! Might as well have dial up. You can call the front desk and they'll ask you call their internet provider. And they swear there's no problem.

The only negative on this room was the sofa. When I sat down, I just kept going down. Way uncomfortable. Difficult to get up from the sofa. Everything else was 10 for 10. The hotel is on a busy road, but it is still pretty quiet.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The only thing I didn't like was the occasional problems I had changing the channel. There appeared to be some communication difficulty from the remote to the television.

I have stayed in a number of Best Western hotels and this is by far the best I have experienced. A great value. Tremendous staff and house cleaning personnel were thorough. Having a lounge onsite was an added plus.

This hotel play with the guests. We booked at the BW website and got a confirmation with the amount. But at the end of the stay, the invoice was much higher and on the top, they invoiced with the false amount my credit card. Claim via mail? NO feedback. Check in: The staff had no knowledge, was in a video chat via cellphone with her supervisor to finalize our check in. The room was never a suite - dirty and the feeling was not save.

Checked in and was impressed by the friendliness of the staff. The room key worked the first and all times. The room was pleasant and comfortable. the room door completely secured. The surrounding area seemed like some place one might want to move.

I stayed in smoking room, room was clean and been updated, staff seemed very nice & polite, nothing FANCY about hotel pool was closed already on main road but still semi quiet, could definitely hear water running upstairs but that's usually how all hotels are, breakfast was good pancakes, waffles, eggs sausage ( had a mexican twist) AWESOME DELICIOUS Food Trailer sets up in parking lot at night GREAT BURGERS!!! Weekend stay got a lil noisey with Lounge traffic coming into parking lot Locals I think, felt pretty safe Not the faniciest or the worse place ever stayed, I basically was only sleeping there, Beds comfortable but PILLOWS Nice Decoration Looked good but WAY TO THIICK in my opinion for a good sleep woke up with sore neck my kids would of been BORED there but I was alone this time Got a Very Good price for this room compared to equal hotels would probably stay again No bugs either

Used to frequent this place, but had a poor experience with a clerk. So I hadn't returned. Thought I would give it a second chance...worse. Can't say I'll be back. Un-knowledgeable staff, poor attitude, and basically a “that's too bad” kind of experience upon arrival. They wanted to make it right, upon departure, but what good would that do. They have a food truck out front, during the evenings and they're noisy and clutter up the parking area. Anything for a buck, I suppose. So much for being a Diamond Elite Member

My family stayed for one night and had no problems whatsoever. Staff was great, room was clean, and breakfast was just what the kids needed. It was quiet, neat, and the beds were comfortable enough to not wake the kids.

Room was very comfortable, But the pillows were only one style. Woke up with a stiff neck . If possible 2 from pillows and 2 softer . The dispensers for soap, shampoo and lotion mask my 1st. The breakfast was okay. Just couldnt find the coffee. Drinked orange juice. But it was great

This place represents what I am used to from my childhood days traveling with my family. It's a very reasonably priced motel with clean rooms and a helpful staff. These days motels can be a real gamble as most are either rundown or obviously owned by someone who will sell a room cheap but does nothing on upkeep. Not the case here, I would recommend to anyone provided they keep this up. Beds are about ready, if not ready, for replacement.

Was provided friendly services at the front desk. I asked for more towels and it was brought in right away. We didn't have time to enjoy the pool area. Maintenance employees were friendly. I love the breakfast options. Also that it had a night bar too.

This was a basic motel with clean rooms, great staff. It appears as if it was renovated not too long ago. Breakfast was acceptable. Location was very good. Only comment is that the folks next to our room were a bit loud. But they settled down after a while.

You'll get your money worth when you stay. They were nice, curtious and made stay great when i was here. As well having access to a fridge in room was awesome being that i was staying for a period of time, was able to go to near by store to buy food for myself

Always happy to spend some time in valley at this location with friendly staff and nice rooms even with the age of property, great bath linens, room amenities, especially having a fridge with freezer which is getting more rare nowadays. Breakfast offerings tend to exceed most BW locations with variety.

This is honestly one of the best hotels I've stayed at. Rooms are immaculate and service from all staff is phenomenal. Breakfast is so good with some dairy free options as well! Will be coming back!!!

Very disappointing, room was not downstairs like I had asked weeks in advance , then was checked into a room that was not ready , then had to wait till after 3 to get In, then breakfast was not ready and no items that were in menu and not enough for guest staying at hotel , then my restroom wasn't working ,then had to wait long cuz employees said printer was down , then they were rude about it , then my restroom was not working properly.. only good thing was an overnight employee sat that was friendly and offered extra hot tea for my sick wife ...

Good value, good service, good bed. The hotel staff was very helpful checking me in as soon as the room was ready. Breakfast was hot and there were plenty of choices. Room was kept very clean the entire week. I enjoyed the exercise room which was also well stock. machines in good working order and very clean. Overall, this is clean, comfortable and an excellent value

I was very pleased with my stay at the Best Western Plus in Edinburg. This was by far a very nice Best Western with nice ambiance and a great nights sleep. I was not expecting the size of room I received, the friendly staff, or the invitation to the karaoke at the bar. All in all, this place is highly recommended and definitely a place I will be back to visit.

When I first walked in I was greeted by their friendly front desk. The check in process was quick and easy. Housekeeping was the best hands down! They were on track with everything. I never once had to ask for towels or toilet paper. The room smelled extra fresh at all times! I will definitely be back when traveling to Edinburg.

Besides the two queen beds, there is a seperate room with door with a sofa. The rooms are big, very clean and the full breakfast is really complete fruit, egg, sausage, yogurt even a pancake machine. Price is very reasonable.

A very lousy breakfast. I would recommend this location if you value breakfast as a part of your routine. The pancake machine was broken and there was nothing hot available. The workers didn't seem to care either.

i got awesome service very nice staff. Room size was perfect i loved the dispensers in the shower. Good location with stores down the road, best part was the pool. I will definitely recommend this hotel in the future.

I have stayed here a number of times and have never encountered any issues. Always friendly and accommodating staff, the place is clean and comfortable. The price is reasonable, not a new motel but well kept.

This hotel has an excellent breakfast. One of the few hotels that has NFL network. Adequate storage space in room. Good Wifi. Good parking. Easily accessible location. We will be staying here again. Lemonade available in the lobby. A real plus in Texas.

The location for this hotel is in a safe area. It was recently renovated and the lobby was excellently decorated for Christmas. The hostess who checked us in was extremely peasant and welcoming. The room was clean and organized. The bed was terribly uncomfortable and there were no linens for the sleeper sofa that was in the living room. We had to call and request them, which were promptly delivered.

We stayed at this hotel during the Christmas holidays. The rates were very reasonable, check in etc. was very fast and the rooms are comfortable , but could use an upgrade. The staff in this hotel really do go out of their way to help their clients and we have never felt so much at home when traveling. These rooms also have outside access, so if you want to be near your vehicle it can be right outside your door. The lounge area in the bar is smaller and intimate and full of the southern hospitality we had received in the hotel area. Would recommend it any time, but would appreciate a modernizing upgrade of the rooms.

Very large, comfortable and clean rooms. Rooms were exceptionally quiet— could not hear highway traffic or adjacent room occupants. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was as expected for Best Western Plus. Would definitely plan to stay again when in the area and would recommend.

Stayed one night & the bed was so so. Woke up with my back hurting. Showered before I went to bed & woke up with an oder, had to shower again the next morning. Don't know if the sheets smelled or the mattress.

I travel alot. When i come to Edinburg, I will always stay at this Best Western. Very convenient location. The staff is always helpful and nice. Nice bar on location. The gym is nice to have available.

What a great reception by Kristie! We hadn't booked and just turned up, Kristie was most helpful. Huge suite, immaculately clean. Sparkling clean swimming pool and area. Great choice of breakfast. Great aircon. Got all our laundry done. Couldn't want for more at a great price. Wish we could stay longer. I can see why this is a Best Western PLUS.

Great value, exceptional people working every aspect, counter, room sevice. Very clean rooms, beds are good. Restrooms are exceptionally clean. Parking is very roomy. Easy acces to downtown Edinburg. Restaurants very close to motel.

We were looking for a pet friendly hotel to escape to during Hurricane Harvey. We found the BW Plus in Edinburg and it was a great decision to stay there. Staff was super friendly and we had all of our needs met. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the grounds were clean and the breakfast was amazing...more than your bagels and muffins breakfast. I would highly recommend the BW Plus in Edinburg for your stay if you are in the area.

Clean inside and outside, breakfast was good, staff were great.Will stay again when in town. I left some items in the room and the staff notified me right of way. they offered to mail it to me, I thought that very nice. I recommend this hotel to everyone, you will enjoy the stay.

already stated, but again, hotel was ok, but A/C had problems and parking was horrendous. I slept 2-hrs because of poor A/C and worried that my car was going to be towed away due to illegal parking since there was absolutely no space left.

Room was ok. bath room was not clean. lavatory was stopped up. not enough light in room. walls and ceiling was not insulated allowing excessive noise to penetrate through. water pressure was very weak. this hotel did not meet the level of other best western hotels.

This BW property is tucked away on Business 281 and easy to miss if you are paying attention to the traffic, but here is a location that is up to date with improvements, clean, well kept, with nice folks working the desk at check in and out and after 4 PM a lounge bar is available on the premises. Rooms are nice sized with comfortable beds large TV, nice bath linens, fridge with FREEZER (so many do not) good A/C, micro wave, a pool, and Fitness room. Look them up, they have reasonable rates, one of my favorite locations to stay and it will be yours as well.

Usually we stay in Mcallen but from now on this will be our first choice.The room was very clean and the staff made me feel welcome.We also enjoyed the pool.The hotel has a lounge.We enjoyed some drinks.We will definitely be back!

Everything was excellent from the service to the breakfast. I had reserved the room a month ahead of time. I requested a room that had a pull out sofa couch. I was assured that it did pull out into a bed. Once I got into the room I checked the couch and it did not pull out into a bed. That was the only issue experience. Luckily my son was able to fit on the couch to sleep.

We got this hotel for a good rate. The room are large, but you can hear your neighbors if they are loud at all. The beds are very comfortable. The breakfast choice are very basic. We decided to eat out every morning. The pool is small but clean. For the price it is a good deal, but I would not pay over $75 a night.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus in Edinburg Texas for three nights. The room was very nice and comfortable for our extended stay. The breakfast each morning was excellent and offered us varied choices.

I stay here often and this location is a great value for the money spent. Friendly and professional staff. BW Plus in Edinburg, is by far the best place to stay in Edinburg. Some other hotels on Bus 183 have fancy lights and facades, but i've found the accommodations and staffs to be no competition.

I always look forward to my stay here , because the people are vey friendly and accommodating. And like I've said before - when I open the door to my room and see how clean and inviting it is ; it just makes me feel relaxed.

Very close to many restaurants, rooms are clean, beds are a little hard for my taste, easy access to major highway and major grocery chains. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful and courteous. Will recommend to my friends.

I was here for only a single night, but the hotel served its purpose perfectly. Bed and pillows were perfectly comfortable and the plumbing functioned as designed. It was a bit cold when I came in but it warmed up when I adjusted the settings to my comfort level. Parking was convenient and the clerks were nice.

Very helpful staff at check-in and check-out. I received a free upgrade to a suite because of my diamond status. The room was excellent, clean, and very comfortable. The location was in easy reach of Food and Shopping. I was there on business and only was concerned with finding good food. I would definitely advise friends to stay at this hotel

Staff was very helpful and very nice. We had 2 large dogs and there is plenty of areas and fields to let them run. Breakfast was better than most Hotels and I stay at lot of them with work. Great experience for us overall

We were on a trip round the area from the UK and had booked this as a one night stopover in advance. It is on the junction of two busy roads, but there is minimal noise. The staff were excellent, with check in very smooth, and recommendations given for places to eat and visit. The 'Happy Hour' which is three hours long (everything is big in Texas) was a great experience. The lady behind the bar, Iris we think she is called, was amazing. She kept everyone's drinks topped up all night without effort in remembering what everyone was having. She was especially helpful in arranging Mexican food to be brought in for us from a small Taco bar across the road; she ordered on our behalf exactly the type of food we asked for as we are novices at this type of food. We would suggest that everyone should take advantage of that small Taco bar and eat their food in the hotel bar. It costs $1 delivery charge (not everything is big in Texas). There is a small pool at the hotel which we took advantage off. Similarly there was a small gym with all that you need. Breakfast was quite good in comparison to other hotels of a similar nature. You can even make your own waffles in the shape of Texas, and yes they are big. Highly recommended.

A nice well kept Best Western. Nice furniture, comfy bed, free parking, internet and breakfast (eggs, bacon, waffles, fruit, juices and coffee). Service was friendly. Convenient location and near McAllen airport and town

Our room was very nice, good decor and very clean. Stayed here to be close to a family member. Close by: Subway, KFC and further down an HEB and Valero gas station. Also close by is a WalMart. There is a pool available also.

The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfy, and we enjoy having breakfast available in the morning. We have stayed at the Best Western often when we are visiting family in Edinburg and plan to continue staying here when we visit in the future.

I recently stayed at this hotel for a three night business stay. I travel frequently for business and pleasure and I found this hotel just OK. I'm not really sure where all of the 4 and 5 stars are coming from. The room and bathroom were clean. I had problems with the hot water in the shower every morning, it took forever just to get warm. The last morning I just gave up and took a luke warm shower. The water in the sink though never got cold! The bed was comfortable but I felt like I was in a dungeon, my rooms window faced a wall so I allways kept the curtains shut. The breakfast was fine, but it was your basic BW breakfast, their pre-made eggs were just that, pre-made, stick with making your own waffle. The room had a frig, coffer maker, ironing board and iron, but no safe. The day I left they did have prepackaged bags to take with you which had water, fruit bars and a banana which was very nice. All in all, not bad but not great either.

You are better off staying somewhere else. Lousiest coffee I ever had...might as well drink water. Cheap quality soaps in bathroom. Bathroom tub unsafe, easy to slip on. They effectively charged my credit card twice for a one night's stay.

The beds were so comfortable, the staff is so friendly and caring. We always stay at this hotel because of where it is located. It's right in the center of everywhere we plan on going. the hotel has everything you need even a bar/lounge so you don't have to drive too far to have a good time.

This BW Property is hidden on Hwy. 281 Business near the south side of town and it is still my favorite location in the area. It is tucked away out of site of the big highways and the noise too.There is a busy street out front but it is not like a highway with constant noise. All around updated property with everything you could expect in a well run and maintained inn. Great bath linens, comfortable bed, large TV, fridge, micro-wave, good breakfast layout with nice variety of fruit, cereals, warm foods, coffee and hot water for other items, nice surroundings. Pool and fitness room available as well, and both are in excellent shape. Find your way to this one and it will not disappoint!

WOW, what a spread! The free breakfast is off the charts: plenty of food, a lot of seating, clean, helpful staff. Overall the hotel is nice, but the breakfast is what sets this place apart. If we return for another visit to Pharr we are likely to stay here again.

All in all great hotel, staff is very professional but yet treat you like family! The upgrades to the hotel are super nice beds are comfortable, quite, and AC keeps rooms really cold!! In this Texas heat we need it!! Have snacks in the lobby!! Those grab bags with a water and snack are a life saver if you are on the go!! Management greets you with a smile and comes over and chats with you!! Wouldn't stay any where else!!

Stayed there 2 Nights (bottom floor). The noise was very loud. People were going in and out of there rooms. Letting the door slam loudly shut behind them. Shook the whole stair rails. This went on through the late night. Was awaken 4 times till after 12pm

I stayed in a double queen junior suite and the room was huge, smelled fresh and was very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing! Best bacon and eggs I've had in a while. Very satisfied. External entrances, friendly staff.

The staff as a whole has been very accommodating. Great looking property and it extends in the room. These beds are incredible! Extended my stay and have not grown tired of their breakfast. The front desk staff have all been great. They even have a lounge/bar on the property! Good music, great crowd, ice cold beer. Only thing I didn't have a chance to do was to take a dip in the pool. :( I must say that my stay here has been amazing. Thank You BW

My family and I were forced to stay at this local lodging facility as we had very unexpected repairs needed to our electric meter box. This place was amazing and I was surprised to see that it was right in our own backyard. Upon arriving, the staff was friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean, comfy and great accoustics. My children enjoyed the pool and the hot breakfast and we were overall extremely pleased we chose to stay here in our unplanned situation.

Let me start by saying that we are loyal BW customers, and we enjoy many BW hotels. The reviews for this hotel have been pretty good, so we booked several nights when we were in the area. The exterior of the hotels and grounds seemed well kept. Staff was nice. The hotel is right off the road but surprisingly it was quiet, and we felt safe. The breakfast choices were good. The two-room suite is nice with a separate room which meant 2 TVs. The room seems a bit outdated and not super clean. The only amenities problem we had was the water pressure of the shower which caused the temp to be unstable. The more serious issue was that after a couple nights we started to have bug bites on our feet and legs. Management was apologetic and said they would look into it. Not sure if we just had bad luck with the one room, but we were pretty sure we didn't get those bites hiking during the day.

Everyone here was nice friendly and helpful. We had a mobility room and it was quiet and very clean and comfortable. The beds were GREAT. We did not use the pool so can't comment on it other then it was clear clean water. Staff so nice. Everyone greeted us when they saw us. We stayed here almost two weeks and did not see any insect at all. We will definitely return next time we come.

We had very noisy neighbors. The sink would not drain and it pad a crack in it and the mirror had a crack in it. The food at breakfast was not hot enough to be sanitary. Hopefully there are better places to stay in and of bird, this place was also expensive.

I stay at Best Western when ever i get the chance. This one is at the top for quality, value, and particularly customer service. It is unusual to find one employee who provides great customer service. I ran into two at this hotel. When it was easier to say no they said yes. They went the extra mile to make sure I had a wonderful stay. One is an accident, two means it is their culture.

Large king bed bedroom with plenty of workspace and lounge space. Professional and stylish breakfast area and lobby. Fast internet. The breakfast options were satisfying. The bed was very comfortable and I had no trouble getting a good night's sleep.

So when we pulled up to this hotel my first thought was we need to go somewhere else...I saw some of the hotels on the way there that I thought would be really nice to stay at but I went inside and met Alex who was working the front desk. This guy was awesome and completely upfront and honest about everything. He answered all the questions I had and really set my mind at ease. He told us about different things in the area to see and was super friendly. Our room was fantastic and we did not have any issues with cleanliness or damages. The sheets were clean and the beds were very very comfortable. The hotel features a bar which they told us recently opened. The bartenders (a male and a female but I forget there names) were amazing. They told us about the area and where to go and where not to go. They told us about growing up in the area and were really just awesome people. The bar was really nice and it was not expensive. They offer breakfast in the morning which was excellent and very clean. If you are going to stay in the McAllen/Edinburg area I would highly recommend this hotel.

Problems with Bathtub It was a faucet damaged, the service personnel said that they can fixed but with no body inside of the room, we stay was only 1 night and we didnt have lot of time, we sopposed that they will offer a new room

We spent two nights at this hotel in November 2015 and we had a very pleasant experience. We stayed in a ground floor room, found the room clean and well appointed. The breakfast that came with the room rate was excellent and we found all the staff to be most helpful. We would not hesitate to use this hotel again. Good value.

I had never stayed at a Best Western Plus and I found my stay here rather pleasant. The room was very clean and the overall service was great. The breakfast could use more of a variety of hot items, but it was way better than your typical continental breakfast. When I have another business trip in this area I would probably stay here, great value and great location.

I just love being surprised at these Best Westerns where you get comfortable rooms, the most courteous staff and affordable prices. All these things make the stay at this Best Western just excellent. Breakfast is also very good so what else could you ask for? Excellent place to stay if you happen to come to these parts.

I stay here everytime I visit the RGV. I will not consider any other place. The staff is friendly and courteous, willing to help in any way they can. The rooms are large and comfortable. There are many places to eat near by. You should consider staying here when visiting the area.

Good. Will be returning Lord willing. Nice place to stay with the family. The breakfast could be a little better but its not bad for the price. Kids enjoyed it. It would be nice if they had a cook there making the food to order as in some other restaurants instead of the eggs that seem to be powdered eggs. Other than that it was a good experiance.

Not only is this location one of my all time favorite locations to stay, it continues to be held in high esteem due to the consistency of service, pleasant people, good value. This location in the valley of Texas always gets my vote as one of the best BW properties available in my travels, I always say "Try it, you'll like it." Clean Rooms, pre-cooled in summer, Comfy beds, Pool, Good linens that do not feel cheap, easy room access are all some of the reasons I continue returning to this location for business reasons. It is a good launching point for visiting area attractions all through the valley.

We were staying at this motel for the weekend while we put on a(Gator country) Alligator show at the bbq cook-off. My girlfriend and I walked into the room and were very impressed! Rooms were clean and didn't smell sour, bathroom was very clean and our room was nice and neat when we would get back to the rooms in the evening. My favorite part was when we walked outside to smoke, we watched a gentleman with a couple cleaning rags walking along the hand rails wiping them down, he was even wiping off the ash trays, Ive stayed in some pretty nice hotels in my life, but these workers are very dedicated to their jobs and understand their customers needs. I highly recommend this best western. At least give um a try. And tell um the guys from Gator Country that did the gator show sent you
