Best Western Plus Eagle/Vail Valley

The location of this hotel was perfect it was soo close to everything food gas everything I needed was right there! The staff of the hotel were soo friendly and helpful. And the breakfast was very very good! No complaints!

Nice Best Western.Older facility been refreshed sometime recently; helpful stats; good breakfast, convenient on/off I 70. Priced a little higher than some local hotels but overall a good overnight stay

I stayed for two nights! The staff/check-in experience was ok! I had to pay extra to check in 2h earlier - don‘t get that!!! The rooms were very generous and clean! Unfortunately the heating system is so bad, I had to wear my noise cancelling earphones to get some sleep!!! If you can deal with this it‘s fine, if not I recommend to look for another hotel!

We have come here for the last three years in a row staying one night in their suite prior to checking into our condo. This year has by far been the worst as the pool and hot tub do not work we were told at check-in that they have just put off replacing the boiler. We called down to Ask for somebody to come up and fix the toilet as soon as we checked in and they told us they did not have any anybody on staff to do that that we could come get a plunger if we wanted. The problem was a plunger is not what needs to be used to fix it.we woke up to go down and get breakfast and we're told that they were out of bacon waffles pancakes, and everything else except for cereal. We were then told that management has been absent for a month and a half and not much with the hotel is working. This will be our last time staying at this property.

This was a Christmas holiday vacation to ski in the area. It's fairly close to Beaver Creek and Vail resorts. The hotel was roomy for 4 adults and very appreciative it is pet friendly. The sofa was a pull out which worked out great for us 4 friends. The breakfast was great and a nice way to start the day. I appreciated the coffee being made very early (before breakfast hours) and although there is a Keurig in the room, I'm an early riser and didn't want to wake up others in the room. I enjoyed the coffee in the cozy lobby. I'm very glad we stayed here. The value is awesome as compared to the resort areas. The staff was very friendly and helpful!! I highly recommend and plan on returning this summer.

stopped for the night in Eagle Colorado- was greeted by the friendly front desk and shown where my room was- I was happy that the parking lot was well lit- and seemed safe and secure. My room was what I have come to expect from most Best Western- Comfortable bed, nice fluffy pillows! Thank you Best western for a pleasant stay!

Excellent stay here everything was excellent clean comfortable reasonably priced and great staff! Rooms were clean and comfortable fitness and pool was excellent quality breakfast great selection and quality excellent Looking forward to staying here again!

Nice enough hotel, it's a bit dated and tired, but clean and comfortable, although the bathroom was very small, and a bit grubby (mouldy tiles etc), and the shower was useless. Reception staff were friendly and efficient, good breakfast area , a little walk to the main Broadway street but not too far

Highly recommend staying at this hotel! I also stayed at the Quality in and Suites and Best Western was by far 100 times better. The breakfast is sooo good and the rooms are really nice. 10/10 Recommend!

My husband and I stayed at the Best Western Eagle-Vail Valley on August 5-7, 2023. We were very disappointed with the service we received. The first night of our stay the toilet clogged and was unusable. We called the front desk and their response was to use the lobby restroom, which we had to do throughout the first night. They informed us they didn't have any other rooms to move us to as they were fully booked, but they assured us the toilet would be fixed the next day. The next evening when we got to the hotel, the toilet was still not fixed although, fortunately, we were able to move to a different room. We were not offered any concessions for our inconvenience and the staff seemed very apathetic. Would definitely not recommend this hotel!

The lobby of the hotel is very nice, but that is the beginning and the end. The jacuzzi water smells ( not of chlorine) they claim they ran out of shampoo a month ago, but the maids have some and the employees have some in the rooms. But the guest does not. The thermostat in the fitness center is broken. And they don't believe the customer comes first. I got a push back when I asked for shampoo.

This is a great place to stop when traveling through Colorado before entering the congestion of the Denver Metro area if heading east or western Colorado if heading west. The views from this hotel of the Colorado mountain ranges (Rockies, etc) are wonderful, and the hotel itself feels a bit like an old ski-lodge. The rooms could use some updating, but the pool and hot tub were wonderful and I enjoyed having them to myself for a few hours. The fellow at the front desk went out of his way to ensure I had the room I wanted.

Bathroom cleanliness. Bathroom sink with no hot water. Big sticky stain on the carpet. There was a sock under the bathroom sink left from previous customers. The toilet seat was dirty with some bluish substance and dirt accumulated over this substance.

I was dubious about this hotel but it was perfectly located for us (we were doing rafting with Timberline Tours down the street). Hotel was meticulously clean and we were given a suite upon arrival (1 bed downs, 2 upstairs with 2 bathrooms). Rooms were well appointed, plenty of towels and breakfast area was clean and well stocked. Would stay here again.

We stayed here in room 214 on 5/31-6/1/23. The hotel is tricky to find (at the first round about take the turn for the Sinclair gas station and you'll see the hotel to you left aft the gas station). Also around 5 pm there is rush hour like traffic in the area which we found surprising. The hotel looks nice from the outside and in the lobby . Check in was OK and check out was very good. There is an elevator which is small (2 people and a luggage cart) but serviceable. Breakfast was challenging. The hotel hosts lots of construction workers, so when we came down for breakfast (8:45 am) there wasn't much food or coffee left (the staff was in the process of restocking it), the tables were all dirty and the garbage cans were overflowing. I'd suggest coming down either right when the breakfast service starts or at 9 am. Our room was very nice, clean,quiet and comfortable, in need of some TLC but overall fine. The water pressure was very good and the bathroom/shower area was fine. The internet was very slow. There were many restaurants within a 10 min. drive. If we were in the area we would stay here again.

The best Western had been updated. Nice new carpet, fesh paint and the room had a loft which was perfect for our needs. The room was also updated, very clean and had everything one would want, fridge, microwave, coffee machine with supplies, iron and ironing board for those who want to press clothes.

Cold shower! Lukewarm for about 5 minutes then frigid. The lousy and lumpy beds were hard to sleep in, and annoying neighbours who pound on the windows in the night kept us up. You can do better than this facility.

A good well run hotel with moderate prices for anywhere in the Eagle river valley (Vail area). Breakfast is OK, and the staff is friendly and helpful. There is hot water for tea and coffee available round the clock.

I booked a room about a month in advance for a trip to visit family in the Eagle valley. When I checked the rates online before we left town I noticed a substantial drop in the rates. Customer service would not refund the difference. It left a bad taste in my mouth about the entire stay. Will look elsewhere for future family visits.

Unfortunately our kids wanted a place to wind down after their hockey win. With in 30 mins of being checked in the front desk staff complained about our kids. Said they were running, screaming and that 12 people had called and complained. It was 6:00 in the evening. It was less than enjoyable and we aren't sure if it he team will stay again. The pool was ice cold, the hot tub was broken, the sauna wouldn't heat up and the steam room was broken.

Excellent front desk service and overall great stay. We enjoyed the breakfast and all the amenities. Eagle, Colorado is a beautiful place to visit. We played in a regional volleyball match is Vail. Vail is a great place to ski in the Winter and this Hotel was affordable and just a short drive from Vail.

I hate leaving negative reviews but this hotel needs to be checked out by corporate. It says it is a plus but in actuality it should be a sure stay. From the moment we walked in it was negative. The girl behind the front desk was trying to hide behind the computer and did not want to or know how to check us in. She was very unfriendly and bordering rude. She did give us a upgrade after phoning her manager. The upgrade had stairs to the bedroom and so it wasn't that great as we don't like stairs. Now the rooms was big with an upstairs but we had to get maintenance in right of the start so we could use the fridge. Many broken items, bathtub bar just hanging there, plugs that did not hold and so could not be used or to dangerous. I went into the pool/hot tub area at check in and discovered the hot tub had yellow tape around it, so it was out of order but never posted on there site, the pool was very cold as if to say don't use it and we didn't. When I asked the front desk about the hot tub situation she said yes it had been out of order for a while and did not know when or if they were going to fix it. We stayed 17 nights in hotels on our fall2022 road trip in 8 different hotels( all but two nights in BEST WESTERN) and this hotel was by FAR the worst hotel. We check the tripadvisor reviews before we book the hotels and we should have booked the BW in DILLON. This hotel is not up to BW standards, so please do not judge BW by this hotel.

All in all the hotel was nice but there were some issues. The staff was great and the breakfast was good. The room was large and spacious with a dorm refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and small sink. I was disappointed in the bathroom. Anytime I see as much mildew around a tub and on the walls it makes me wonder how clean it actually is. I have included photos to show it wasn't in just one spot, but all around the tub. I took a washcloth and with a little scrubbing was able to get a little off but it would be much easier with a cleanser and a brush, housecleaning should really pay attention to this areas. I would suggest a tray to hold the shampoo and soap in the shower because you have to put them on the ledge of the tub and it is really low and bending down could cause you to slip. The height of the toilet was so low that it hit mid calf of my leg and I woke up with pain in my knees because of the position they were just to bend them to use the toilet. I have arthritis in my fingers and wrist and the toilet was very hard to flush, I had to use both hands, not sure if that is a water saving reason to have that or not. The public bathrooms on the first floor had standard height toilets so I found myself using those instead of the one in our room. The last issue is the top drawer of the bureau kept opening up on its own and during the night on a trip to the bathroom, I ran into it and bruised my arm, it literally opens all the way and my husband thinks it is off balanced. Surely the cleaners should see this each time they enter the suite because it was a constant issue. The hotel is located close to restaurants and was nice except for the issues in the bathroom and the drawer, probably the rest of the rooms didn't have the mildew or the ghost drawer that we had.

Do not stay at this hotel. It was terrible and they are way over priced for what you get. The breakfast was ok. The rooms were not very clean. My daughter and I had to switch rooms twice. The 3rd room we ended up in was better then the first 2 rooms. I would not recommend staying here.

We have stayed here before and never have had a problem. This time, we stayed in a 2 room suite. One bedroom is downstairs with a nice bathroom, couch, table, refrigerator and microwave. The other is upstairs with another bathroom. Both rooms had 2 queen beds. The suite was clean and very spacious. The breakfast was great. They had lots of choices, and everything we tried was good. I'd stay again if in the area. My only concern was it appears that they have construction workers that stay here. We didn't have any problems, other than they were smoking pot in the parking lot, and the smell was very overpowering.

We were stranded on I70. We were heading to Eagle County Fairgrounds for our son's high school rodeo, in which we were camping with horses for the event. The staff was AMAZING in helping me registering our stay last minute. The stress of the breakdown, horses, competition the next day for my son, left me drained. The front desk was so supportive in making our stay the best it could after a very trying day.

Daniel was great, friendly, helpful and informative. The hotel is really showing the age. Old rooms, older towels, pool was cold, hot tub cold, tv didn't work internet was spotty...if you are going to charge these prices, then upgrade to meet expectations!

It can be difficult to find affordable hotels in the Vail area. This hotel was the closest to being affordable as you will find in Vail. The hotel was nice and clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. You definitely feel like you are back in the 1970's. Our room had three extra doors that went to other rooms but were blocked by furniture. There was also stairs to what appeared to be a loft above our room but it was not in use. The walls are very thin so you could hear everything that happened in the hall and nearby rooms. Whenever someone closed a door to their room, you could hear it in our room. This was especially evident as there were baseball teams staying in the hotel which were loud. One thing that is needed are more outlets for charging. There were only a couple of outlets in the room, which was good sized, so we had to take turns charging phones and tablets. The breakfast is quite good with plenty of options. It is about 30 minutes to Vail which is not too bad. I would stay here again.

Couldn't ask for more helpful, friendly staff and decent breakfast. But our hotel room was in desperate need of remodeling. The furniture was old, sofa barely sittable and lighting inadequate. Franchise owner needs to invest some proceeds back into this property.

Very clean rooms with all the amenities you would expect. Super breakfast, great coffee and fresh fruit. Comfy beds. Only problem was the check in lady was super rude to us and clearly not liking us wearing masks.

Rock hard bed (like the floor) but clean bedding. Carpet had multiple large stains and was dirty. Towels were dingy and stained as well. To top it off, breakfast "ends" at 10am but all hot food was empty by 940am. Told staff who brushed us off while they proceeded to eat the food they held back in the kitchen 10 minutes later, leaving several guests without breakfast even though we paid for it. Only benefit of this place was that it was cheaper than the hotels in Glenwood Springs. We will not be back. I'll spend the extra money next time. Date of stay: 6/19/22

I stayed at the Best Western Plus in Eagle for one night on the 8th of June. I carelessly left a sports jacket in the cupboard. The staff found it and were helpful although they could not arrange to ship it on for me. It took about a week to find a way to have it picked up by UPS without a US credit card. I was in contact with the front office staff (Lisbeth) during this time. And when a pick up was arranged , 7 days from when I left it, I was told that the hotel had disposed of it. It was an expensive jacket that had great sentimental value as well. In case you're wondering if this is anything more than a basic hotel where the customer service is also basic, and insincere, it isn't.

Always reliable, helpful staff, clean rooms, good location. We've stayed here before and will be back. The breakfast is hot with eggs, sausage, toasts, muffins, juice, and there is always coffee and tea out.....very nice. It was totally booked the night we were there and everything was fine.

Checked in late evening, but was still greeted with a smile and prompt and friendly service. Lobby was very clean. Booked a King bed room. The room was very spacious and clean. A/C unit was quiet and did not disturb our sleep. Wonderful breakfast. We had time to enjoy the hot tub before checking out. Next time in Eagle I will stay here.

On our way to Aspen we were side tracked because of a wild fire that shut the highway down. We had to make a U Turn and found ourselves in Eagle, CO. where we found a suite at the Best Western. Being four adults the 2 bedroom suite worked out perfectly. I have never seen a hotel with a separate bedroom up stares with its own full bathroom and two beds. The breakfast buffet is what one would expect, all was good, nothing fancy.

If it wasn't gross to sleep on a hotel floor we would've preferred that. We had the option to go to a place that was cheaper, but wanted to ensure cleanliness. We got clean, but also beyond uncomfortable

The place is nice and clean, very welcoming. The breakfast buffet is OK. Everything tasted good. Very close to I-70 and food nearby. The WiFi worked. But there are little things. The directv only gets about half the channels and not the enjoyable one. The staff knows about it but it hasn't been fixed for a long period. The steam room is out of order. The hot tub was green the first few nights but they did get it cleared up. Although it shouldn't have gotten that way. They are also not cleaning rooms except between guest. So you have to go to the desk to get fresh linins and soaps. We were here for a surgery in Vail. The night we returned from the surgery someone had parked the hotel van in front of the handy caped ramp instead of the reserved van spot right next to the ramp. This was made worse by the fact that it was snowing. That made it very hard to safely get a person, just out of knee surgery, into the building. We also had a problem with our room key and couldn't get into the room one day. The front desk person immediately tried to help but it seemed she wasn't 100% sure what to do and what keys to get. She was doing her best but a little more training is needed from management. Would I stay here again? Yes.

I have stayed her twice in the past month. The first time the TV did not work, but I was only there one night so did not complain and just read. The second stay, I was there for two nights and in a different room. Again, TV did not work. They tried to repair it but were unsuccessful. They offered to discount my $350 rate by $50 and said there was nothing else they could do. After much complaining they moved us to another room on the second night, but took away the discount. Rooms are alright and breakfast is fine. It appears their cable in the building is in bad shape so be prepared for the possibility of no TV and a manager that will not talk to you but makes his employees communicate with upset customers. It appears staff is caring and friendly, just poor management.

I was very pleased with this hotel. The bed was comfy and the breakfast was good. The ONLY negative I would have is that the room doors are very loud when annoying guests slam them shut. Oh, the room fridge was noisy. But those two things do not take away from a great stay!

Employees in this hotel are overall nice. The problem is that a lot of them not trained. The female Manager of this hotel is extremely rude and asks guests that 'you can leave if you don't like it' instead of even trying to solve a guest concern or problem. I stayed there over a few weeks for business and witnessed so many guest complaints. The Manager wanted just to make me miserable when I had a complaint. When I had to extend my stay for another night, ON PURPOSE she moved me into another room (after 4 nights there) because 'my room was already booked for the next night'. I turned out next day that my prior room was not occupied at all! I will not stay there again. The Manager is working against the success of this hotel. The 'image' of this hotel is not good already in the Eagle area. If you have business in Eagle, stay in Glenwood Springs, it's worth the 30 min drive if you prefer a Best Western.

I don't post reviews much but wanted everyone to know how great this place is for the money. The entire staff treated us well and was always willing to help. In addition, the breakfast options were great considering the value for the price. This place is a welcome Oasis for a road weary traveler.

Don't stop here if you're on a business trip, coming in late and seeking a good night's rest. Beginning at 8:00 the hallways are filled with a Latin laugh fest of housekeepers yelling down the hallways to each other with no regard to anyone else's schedule.

Yes best western is known as a best western plus. They have standard rooms and then they have upgraded rooms as well. We had an upgraded room that offered a king size bed, fold out couch, dining table for two anda wet bar.

i just try to check in the the staff was so rude and could not even make a phone call to the best western that i stayed at in sandy utah that used my rewards number. She was so incompetent on looking up my number that she said that they are independently owned and that she would not call them . i stood in front of her and dialed their number to get my rewards number. I said i really can't understand why you can't make a phone call to another best western since you can't find my number. she said i don't have to with attitude. Then she is so rude she starts demanding me to move my vehicle from the handicap parking space 3 phone calls or she will have it towed. she brought security and threaten to have my car towed. I said look on the front dash my handicap placard is right there in the front window. i asked for an apology and she refused saying they can now remove me from the building because i complained about her customer service and asked for the general managers name and card. when i was at the front desk people were complaining about water leaks from the second floor. i also notice the place was very dirty too. stay away from this hotel

Clean & comfortable. Pleasant staff I would recommend this motel. Close to downtown which has cool restaurants & bars. Beautiful small mountain town. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was very good

The bed was very uncomfortable and I slept very poorly. The lid to the ice bucket was covered with black mold. he door to the room didn't fit properly and it made quite a loud noise every time it was opened and closed.

Convenient , clean place to spend the night before an early morning flight from Eagle Count Airport. Having a hot tub was a must, and the large pool was great. There is also a sauna, which we took advantage of . We missed the breakfast (left early to catch flight), but the breakfast area looked awesome. The staff was very kind and helpful. Next time we have a morning flight out of this airport, we will definately be staying here.

The hotel staff were excellent . The lobby was beautiful and well lit. The room was was well appointed and very clean. The area was quiet and very safe. I would definitely stay on this facility again. 5 stars

Substandard. It would have be nice to know prior to booking that both the pool and hot tub are 'out of order'. We definitely would have chosen a different hotel to stay at in Eagle. This app requires a minimum of 200 characters for some reason so...

Even with the hiccups during check in I would stay here again. Great breakfast, great pool & spa, clean rooms, comfortable beds and great location. If in Eagle area again I would gladly stay here again.

Room was clean and comfortable and staff was friendly. The location was convenient for my wife and I to stop for the night (close to Interstate 70) while traveling cross country. No complaints - would stay here again.

We will be making excuses to return BECAUSE of the Mexican chorizo option at the breakfast buffet...seriously---excellent breakfast for Triple Bypass finishers from day before. I think I had 3 burritos (chorizo/egg/potato, cheese, salsa and bacon). NEVER been anywhere that had that option. Mmmmmm, mmmm! We also appreciate Best Western's commitment to being pet friendly and lots of grass for our 14+ yr old lab. Oh, did I mention the chorizo? Beds/pillow good, room very clean, no noise noticed during night. Management: do NOT get rid of the chorizo at breakfast!

Staff not interested in helping. expected services not available. Dull dark room, although clean. Breakfast area needed constant attention. Almost no hand sanitizer, no suggestion to wear masks, even though Delta is going on. exercise room too hot to use. Find a Hampton Inn instead!

Toilet sewage filled my bath tub and the bathroom floor, flooding all the way to the far bed. They had no other rooms apparently and couldn't get me out of that room. THE SMELL will stay with me forever.

This is the best hotel option between Vail/Avon which is extremely expensive, and Glenwood Springs, which is the next town 30 minutes west of this Best Western. This is a terrific hotel for families for many reasons. One is that it has two level suites with 4 beds. The kids can stay upstairs and you can not hear them! In addition, this has one of the best indoor pools we've ever seen. There is also a jacuzzi, sauna and steam room! And a nice outdoor area to sit and play horsehoes. The staff was terrific and the location was great.

Excellent Best Western, Easy access to the 80, rooms are beautiful and clean. The staff goes out of their way to ensure your stay exceeds your expectations. The grounds are well kept, and the hotel is located in a safe area.

This hotel does many things well. It is disappointing that they missed the mark on my three top requirements: Safe, Clean, and Comfortable. The Good: The property has great curb.The hotel is situated right next to the interstate with a Wendy's, Subway, and convenience store next door and across the street. The grounds are very clean and well maintained. Likewise, no complaints with the desk staff or check in process. Our room was nicely appointed with inoffensive decorations, a mini-fridge and microwave. The Bad: Unfortunately, the bed is the least comfortable I've found in a hotel in years. The mattress has one of those plastic covers that crackles whenever you move and causes you to sweat, regardless of room temp. This alone would stop me from ever considering this place again. I understand that they have to protect the mattress but most hotels use covers that I cannot even detect. The bathroom is small but adequate. They've gone to the trouble to modernize it with stone countertop, subway tile in the shower and a curved shower curtain. But again, it's the little things that sunk them. There is black stuff growing between the tiles and within a few minutes of turning on the shower I was ankle deep in water due to a slow drain. Think about it. When this happens you are soaking your feet in water that is swirling around the gunk in the pipes left over from the hundreds of former guests who have showered there. One can only imagine the funk that is circulating around your feet! Yuck! As for security, most of the exterior doors are left unlocked all day long, as they do not have card access locks on them. So much for security. Finally breakfast or what they call breakfast consists of bags of cold food. Their "hot" breakfast is a Jimmy Dean sausage croissant, but it's still frozen. You have to microwave it yourself. They do have a microwave you can use, but only one, which can be a problem if several people are there. I observed one guest pick up 4 hot breakfast bags for his family. That's a good 6 minutes of microwave time just for this guest. Also, the microwave shelf was dirty. The desk clerk indicated that they are planning to resume their normal precovid breakfast next week, so hopefully this will improve. Still, I do not see why they haven't already done this as the county health department rescinded all of their covid restrictions three weeks ago. We regularly stay at a Best Western, just down the road in Glenwood Springs, and it is excellent. I left with the impression that they are willing to capitalize on their location by charging luxury prices while failing to provide even the basics of a "budget" level hotel. Given the price this property charges, ($372 per night is the present Hotels.com quote for tonight) I expect a better experience and would not consider staying here again.

The night clerk promotes discord not welcoming or warm but threatening and mean. The person either hates her job, people, or herself and should avoid working with people. The bed was not comfortable, mattress old and flat. The carpets and walls are worn and in need of cleaning and upkeep. Hand sanitizers next to elevator empty.

The staff is great! The room was clean, and the pool was open (with a reservation). It is in a great location, easy to get to stores restaurants, and the sports fields. We will definitely stay here next year.

Stayed here as part of a cross country car trip. First of all, when you come off the exit from Interstate 70 there is a traffic circle/roundabout/circus. It was very busy and very confusing! There was no sign indicating the driveway to the hotel so we ended up back on the interstate and had to drive about 9 miles to the next exit to do a U turn. Please...a small sign with the Best Western logo would be such a life saver! The property is older but looked very clean and inviting. There was a nice fireplace going in the lobby. The front desk staff was wonderful. The young lady even wiped my credit card with a disinfecting wipe before handing it back to me. The room was very clean and smelled fresh. Even though there was a hockey tournament in town and the hotel was full of hockey families we were never disturbed by noise. However, the parking spaces are extremely narrow. Almost everyone staying there besides us had a large SUV. These all had to park on the parking stripes and one actually hit our car when they opened their door. We had the same thing happen the next day! We had to back our car out of the parking space in order to get in because the person next to us was so close.

It took me a while to figure out why my husband and I were so hot in our bed even though air conditioning was on. The mattresses were covered in pee-proof linings. A full enclosed zipped-in plastic covering, and a fitted polyester rubber-backed sheet on top of that. We sweated the whole night even though room was cold. Terrible nights sleep.

My family loved our stay. We loved the 2 level room, it was so spacious. We loved the pool and the eucalyptus steam room. We especially loved the hospitality and quality of service Danielle provided us. She went above and beyond. The Best Western Pllus is lucky to have her on staff, thank you Danielle for making our stay so nice and special!

Nice staff. Clean room. No hot water in the shower. The front desk girl sent maintenance to show me the “secret” to get hot water. Fix the shower valve. Great location. Easy access to the interstate and very close to the airport.

When I heard the hotel we were staying in a Best Western I wasn't thinking much luxury but this hotel was a lot nicer than I thought. They greeted us with hot chocolate at the door and since it was freezing outside it was a perfect introduction. The rooms were simple but just what we needed a basic place to sleep and shower. My friend came with a group of kids and they love swimming in the pool. (because of Covid they have a limit of how many people can be at the pool at one time). Also, there was no buffet breakfast like normal but they did give us breakfast bags every morning. I thought the accommodations were perfect for the price and the staff was very friendly. I also love the diner down the street so it's in a very convenient location where you can even walk to Subway, the grocery store, or other places to eat. I would recommend this hotel for families or people that don't need luxury just a good hotel! Also, my friend got a two-story room since they had children and I thought that was pretty cool. I haven't seen very many hotel rooms with two stories. My only complaint would be you could sometimes hear the people that were on top of us. I'm not sure if the ceilings are thin but thankfully we only had someone on top of us the last night, but I could imagine if that was there the whole time it would've been hard. Otherwise that it's a great hotel!

okay place to stay if you don't have to interact with management especially the sales guy and leave the desk staff alone who seem a bit understaffed, the front desk folks at night were great, day staff though at check in had a big line and while waiting I listened to the woman at front desk apologize on the phone to a guest for their key not working at room and said she'd be right up to correct, then of course I finally get checked in and get to my room with a load of stuff to find my key doesn't work, head all the way back down lugging too much stuff, without any empathy or acknowledgement of the problem just re keys and says "there you go", I actually said "I'm sorry" and thanked her, she said neither and barely looked up. we are pretty easy going and accepting of mistakes and bad days but reflecting on the stay I realized this attitude was similar to the sales manager guy and I wonder if pervasive throughout the organization. property looked fine, room was clean and everything worked, maintenance and housekeeping are doing their jobs well apparently. Next visit our team will be choosing the clean, friendly, independent, better value property right next door.

Best western is close to DEN airport — but far enough away to experience the aircraft noise. Excellent value and close to local restaurants. Very clean and price is very reasonable. Not a full breakfast due to COVID, but was more than adequate.

We were surprised with a room from our friends to use right after our wedding reception. They had checked us in the late afternoon and gave us the keys to use at our convenience. My friends had decorated the room with rose petals, champagne, chocolate and a dozen roses to make it extra special for us. By the time we got to the room late that night, the room was empty and the key card did not work. We went down to the front desk to talk to the attendant. She didn't know why the key card didn't work and then handed us the roses, champagne and chocolate (See's Candy box was soaked in the champagne ice bucket). She then said " I guess these are yours". With Covid protocol posted everywhere including in the room with the General Manager's promise of adherence to their Corporate Covid Policy.....why and who was in our room? Why did they take the flowers etc..? And what did they do in the room? They are not even suppose to clean the rooms after you check in. They would not answer these question when asked the next morning and the manager would not show his face although the manager was on the premise. They don't know who went in our room and still 3 days later will not get back to us. There is so many things wrong with what occurred and Best Western will not take ownership of the lack of security and health violations especially during the pandemic. I would never recommend this Best Western.

Great weekend stay near Vail! Perfect location, great service, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. Easy check in with very friendly front desk staff. No issues. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was pre-packaged and convenient.

Hotel appearance, room and to go breakfast were OK. We had a free night voucher which was processed and confirmed at check in. When we went down to ask about the pool, and they caught us and said the voucher wasn't going through and they'd need to put a hold for the full amount. I said OK and I called the 800 number on the voucher (why didn't they call their own corporate number for the customer?). The corporate had to call back to this Best Western and then magically the voucher number worked. The woman at the corporate Best Western Reward line was calm, professional, and resolved the issue. She said they typed it in wrong. The room was average style BW style room. It had a large open bottom floor with microwave/mini fridge and sink. There was an upstairs which had the king bed and a 2nd bathroom. The heater upstairs did not work. So, we originally went down to ask about the pool which closed in 30 min. OK no problem we'll use the hot tub real quick. The girl was extremely confusing first she said the pool is full, then said I can look at it, then said if I want to use it but there's a bunch of kids in there. I just said OK never mind and went back to my room. We went back down in about an hour to get coffee. We poured coffee and I tried to open where the milk/creamer was, but it was locked. I guess we were loud, and a woman came over (manager?) and kind of glared at us from the side. She finally said, “Are you finding everything okay?” I said yes just getting coffee and she replied, “Oh it seems like your wife is mad.” Okay that's extremely rude but I diffuse her situation and reply with generic “Yeah I thought I could use the milk in the fridge for coffee, but it was locked.” She goes into a side room and gives me a full 12oz bottle of milk and says, “is this enough?”. I just needed 2 or 3 of those tiny creamer containers. We realize she is hiding behind the corner, so we are quiet and finish quickly. We felt like little kids that found some cookies but are being scolded by an adult. Very odd and awkward situation.

First time staying at this hotel and the experience was good. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, price was reasonable especially for the area. I have stayed at quite a few hotels in my life and this hotel ranks in the upper half. Highly recommend :)

Perfect for a ski trip! Sack breakfast - with options - and coffee provided which was a surprise during covid. The friendliness of the staff CANNOT be beat. The rooms were clean and spacious and comfortable. The indoor pool was a plus - although we didn't take advantage, the kiddos in the room above us did which gave us a bit of a break from their rambunctious playing/running/jumping.

The staff at Best Western Eagle will take good care of you. We came in for 8 nights with a large family. The indoor pool really keeps the kids entertained. Staff is very patient and helpful. Good location.

I was traveling for business and decided to use Best Western Eagle CO. The room was very clean, quite and comfortable. The reception staff were very informative and helpful. I would definitely use this facility on my next trip to Eagle CO.

My family and I go almost every weekend in the winter to ski at Vail. This hotel is a quick drive to the mountain. We enjoy the hot tub and heated indoor pool. We have plenty of room and sleep great! Then we get up in the morning and enjoy the free breakfast and we are on our way to Vail to ski for the day. Daniele, at the front desk, continues to provide exceptional customer service. Looking forward to staying again!

Is a little difficult to get to, due to the number of round a bout traffic circles, but once there it was worth it. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable. The room was surprisingly spacious. Would stay again.

We had a wonderful time. The room was large, clean and comfortable. You could smell that it had been thoroughly cleaned. The pool was huge, clean and warm. The hot tub was also wonderful. The staff was friendly, and helpful.

Very nice clean Hotel to stay at! The Room was very clean and great staff. there was many places to eat at . They are right off the Highway which is Great.. The City of Eagle also offer a lot of Gift shops.

I called ahead and talked to this hotel about laundry facilities. They assured me they had laundry. Upon arrival, I was told I cannot use the facilities due to COVID-19. When I complain to the manager I was called a liar and ignored. That guy is worthless and should be fired. I will not be staying here again.

Thank you for such a pleasant experience. In our move, we stayed because I-70 closed due to fires in the area. The staff was very accommodating for our unexpected need of a room. The suite was very nice and clean.

We were worried about the Corona virus and the staff put our minds at ease. It was the cleanest place I had ever seen. They knew we were nervous so they put us into a Room that had not been touched since re opening.

My son and I stayed one night for a conference, and really enjoyed the hotel experience. Very clean inside and out, friendly staff for check-in/check-out. Comfortable beds. The pool area was very inviting, and featured a hot tub, dry sauna, and wet sauna (all of which we enjoyed). The breakfast setting was clean, appetizing, and well laid out. I really enjoyed the bacon, scrambled eggs, potatoes, and buscuits & gravy.

This hotel is located conveniently close to I-25 yet its location is quiet and peaceful. The feature I noted immediately, and is commented upon by other reviewers, is the outstanding service and staff. The check in was quick and easy and the checkout was the same. The room was rather large, as was that of another couple with us, clean, and with free wifi. There is a pool and workout area with a jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room. The workout area is not large but adequate - three machines, mats. The staff was very helpful regarding restaurants - see my review of the Boneyard restaurant - and offered the use of the shuttle, if needed. There are more restaurant options in the area than I expected in a small town in rural Colorado. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety of hot foods, including waffles, cereals, juices, cold items, coffee, and a cappuccino machine which I used several times. An excellent place to stay in Eagle and I will do so again if I return.

Very good staff and a nice stay. We will stay here again in the future. It is very convenient and the surrounding amenities a very good. Pricing is a bit high but it is the height of the season. We had to travel a few miles to enjoy adequate restaurants.

The staff was friendly and got us checked in quickly and made sure we had the information for the free wifi. The room we had was very clean and a nice size. The pool area is amazing with a steam room, sauna, hot tub, and large indoor heated pool. Additionally, it is right off the highway, which makes it easy to find with a great variety of food choices nearby. The breakfast had a good variety with different coffees, juices, bread products, hot food items, waffle maker, oatmeal bar, and cold dairy options. The free parking was also a nice bonus. Would definitely recommend staying here on your next trip to Eagle.

This is an excellent option if you are coming into to Eagle. First, there is a free shuttle from the airport. Second, it is across the street from a bus stop which proved to be very handy when I could not get a Lyft to take me to Vail in the morning (dumb on my part I know...the bus is great and only costs $4). The rooms were clean and quiet. The front desk was very kind (I needed change for the bus and when the desk initially couldn't break it the woman working was just going to give me $4. Naturally I didn't accept, but it just shows how kind and welcoming the staff is). The breakfast was tasty. I felt that I received and outstanding value for the price I paid. I would definitely stay here again.

I recently took a short weekend trip to Eagle CO to visit with my children and stayed at the Best Western Eagle lodge and suites. As soon as i arrived the service was amazing everyone was extremely helpful and accommodating. When i landed at the airport my shuttle arrived 10 minutes after i called and the driver was awesome. The amenities were perfect for my children, large pool, great hot tub, sauna, work out room and large steam room. The receptionists went out of their way to meet my needs. There was one beautiful blonde lady who helped me upgrade my room to a suite so i could play Nerf guns with my 5 year old son. The world needs more amazing people like the ones at this hotel. The weather was snowy and caused delays at the airport and road closures but the staff was extremely helpful in making sure everything worked out. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends and family and will only stay there in the future.

I can not say enough good things about this property! My son and I stayed here for a week after his orthopedic surgery in Vail. Sochi (from desk) was wonderful! Every employee was extremely pleasant, helpful and genuinely invested in making sure we had a comfortable stay. The breakfast is delicious, the property was quiet and we rested well. They gym and pool are lovely! They provided us with extra pillows, trash bags and packing tape for my son's showers. Everyone was so helpful and I will always be appreciative of their kindness. I will definitely stay at this property again!

We had a great stay at Best Western. We booked the hotel room last minute because we weren't sure if we would be going out of town for the weekend. I was thankful they still had vacancies! The rooms are always clean & inviting! Breakfast was fantastic as always! Love the variety and my family enjoys it. Customer service is the best too! Always friendly & helpful!

My family had a little auto trouble while traveling from Utah to Denver, It was later in the evening and we were towed to the Best Western for the evening, upon check in the young lady at the front desk was so kind and very helpful, We were traveling with two dogs and she still took very good care of us. In the morning the Chief Engineer Jesse was such and a amazing help in fixing my car problem I can't say enough good amazing things about him. Helped me with my issue and then started helping another guest with car trouble. Jesse is truly a positive attribute to the property.We could all learn alitte about help others from him.

Glad we stayed here. The room was very spacious and offered all the necessities plus a nice breakfast. Reasonably priced as well. The shower could have been a bit hotter and more powerful but would definitely recommend.

Big hotel for small town. Seems to be newer construction. Large breakfast area, large rooms, pleasant staff. Minutes from Vail. Some rooms face I-70 so you can expect highway noise. Yes I would stay here again.

Stayed for one night and was surprised at the overall cleanliness of the facility. The lobby and checkin area are well kept and the staff accommodated me with an early check-in, even though I booked through an OTA - I can't thank them enough for this. The room itself was clean with a fridge and microwave. There were some hairs in the rolled up towels which I did not find a major inconvenience as they were plentiful. The bed was rather hard (which is subjective - it's not fair to ding a property on that), but I slept well and everything exceeded my expectations.

Enjoyed our fall getaway here. It's location along I-70 makes it a great location being in between Aspen and Vail, without their outrageous price! We loved our room - a suite with an upstairs bedroom and two full bathrooms!!! We highly recommend this location

Beautiful setting for this hotel, the top of the Rockies off I-70. Very quaint town but busy. Auesome amenities spa, sauna and pool. The continental breakfast was great, many choices. The staff was ok.

If you're undecided on a place to stay in Eagle, CO, this is the place! It's a beautiful property, with an excellent hotel manager who “makes things right,” if there's ever a problem! Convenient - near I70 (but not too close to hear traffic noise!). Rates - reasonable & well worth the price! Great value! Amenities - great wifi, free hot breakfast, TV remote control is CLEAN & IN A SLEEVE when you arrive, comfortable beds, etc. You simply can't go wrong staying here!

I decided on a whim to stay here on my way home from Denver International Airport due to utter fatigue. The room was very large, the internet fast and the microwave worked. I appreciated that the refrigerator was quiet - sometimes they are so loud that they keep waking me up all night long. Only problem was that the message light on the phone kept flashing and they couldn't get it to stop. Only solution was to put electricians tape over it. Temperature control very good and bed comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety, including fresh fruit and hot oatmeal. Poor layout led to challenges getting things but that was a minor flaw since there weren't very many people there but it would be a challenge if a lot of folks needed to move through the area.

The Eagle BW is very nice and clean. The front desk team was very helpful and welcoming. I was thanked for my top tier rewards level and provided a gift bag. My room was nice, clean, and was able to keep an eye on my bike. The fitness center is one of the best I have seen at a BW and had a great workout. The breakfast was nice and seemed to have great options. A biker friendly hotel and provided me with some old towels to clean off my helmet and bike. If I am ever near Eagle again, will definitely stay at the BW again.

We went up to Glenwood Springs and spent the day at the hot springs. We come back to Eagle to stay at night because they have an awesome Italian Restaurant, named Pastatively that we love. So we wanted to stay in Eagle. We chose Eagle Best Western and it was perfect. We've stayed twice since June. The bed is extremely comfortable, the room was clean, the breakfast was great. And the staff is beyond helpful and friendly. We recommend BW to anyone heading in that direction.

Mother daughter trip to enjoy Wild Food Dinner at Eagle Mushroom Festival. Booked a King/Double Queen Suite. When we checked in, we immediately noticed there was no power to the Queen Suite. We called to report, and requested that perhaps we could move rooms, as we were needing to get ready for our function. We were told the maintenance person was off the property, that they would report it, and that there were no other rooms available. Maintenance person showed up after about an hour, and indicated it was a breaker issue. He showed me how to reset it "if this happens again". He was friendly, and we were optimistic that the problem was resolved. Arriving back at the property late that evening from our event, the power was out again. We called the front desk, and the young woman tried to help us, but she did not have access to the room on our floor where the breaker switch was located. She said "so sorry" and left us to deal with the dark room. The double queen section of suite (#248) is entered by a stair within the suite. Everything was pitch black, including the staircase and my daughter had trouble finding what she needed to get ready for bed. Room was stuffy, as the a/c could not run. She opened a window, and noticed the lack of screens, which made for an unsettling night. The next morning I asked again for assistance and was told the maintenance person had his day off and no one who knew how to address this was going to be in that day. The same young woman let me know that she tried to flip a circuit on the first floor after leaving us the night before. Unfortunately it did not correct the issue. The property appears clean and the staff try to be helpful, but they were unfortunately not able to resolve our issue. I would not recommend staying here unless they address what appear to be power surge issues and address the staffing issues or provide proper training to deal with potential maintenance issues. I have reached out to the manager of the property to request a refund.

I stayed at this hotel in June 2019. Never ever pay for your room in cash at this hotel. This hotel double charged me for my room and have refused to make it right. I booked on line with my credit card. When I checked out I went to the front desk and paid the young lady working there in cash for my stay and she guaranteed me the charges would not be on my card. Now a month later I received my Credit Card bill and guess what, yes the stay was charged on my card as well as taking my $260.04 in cash. I called for 3 days in a row before I finally got to talk to a manager even though I was promised a call back every day. They say there is no proof I ever paid in cash. I begged them to look at there security cameras so they could see me standing there paying in cash. I also asked them to give me a lie detector test to prove I am telling the truth. End result I'm sorry but we have no proof you paid cash and cannot help you. Either one of their employees took the money or made a mistake but it has cost me the double charges for the room. I am very upset over this whole situation and the way I have been treated by the management team from this Best Western location.

This is a very nice property located just off I-70. Attractive lobby; lemonade and cookies at check-in. Wonderful pool and hot tub. All staff members we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was yummy with many hot and cold choices. The room was very comfortable.

We were on our motorcycle vacation and after a long riding day. We really enjoyed our stay, very relaxing. We plan to stay here on our next visit. We recommend hotel to anyone traveling in this area.They went out of there way to help us and offer suggesting on were to go.

Really nice, modern, clean hotel adjacent to the beautiful town of Eagle and Eagle Ranch. Fantastic, spacious 2 floor suites with a first class continental breakfast. Woke up on a July morning surrounded by snow capped mountains....doesn't get any better than this!!

The room smelled of stale air conditioning and was located by an exterior door/stairwell. I called for a noise complaint and someone came to my room explaining the noise would stop after they locked the exterior door - It did, but when I asked the night audit for a receipt in anticipation of getting a discount she could not find it. Also the parking lot smelled of cigarette smoke due to an ashtray on fire which was not maintained. I left a note for the manager on duty to call me back and have not gotten a call. I work in the hospitality industry and that's not acceptable.

Good breakfast, nice staff & steam room! Would recommend this hotel. Nice pool -extra loud kids in pool but that is the only complaint. Would stay again. The location was convenient to the highway on our way back from Glenwood Springs headed towards Keystone.

We had a very good stay at their Eagle, Co. hotel. Very family friendly. I would suggest the place to any families traveling to Denver or traveling I70. It was a very good experience. I would also suggest bringing your own food or picking it up along the way as this city is limited after 9p

In the past we had always stayed at one of the other hotels when we come to town, but we got tired of not being able to swim because the water was so cold. So we decided to try the Best Western. Best decision we could have made. The staff was super friendly and the pool area was great. The pool water was perfect. He front desk gave my son a pair of goggles and he learned to swim underwater. Great selection for Breakfast both mornings we were there. The rooms were very clean and roomy. We will definitely be staying here for now on.

I was told at check in there was not a single room left even though I made a reservation on Best Western's website, I received a email confirmation with a reservation confirmation number, and I also received an email the day before my stay saying they look forward to seeing me. The front desk person at check in informed me that they overbooked and that I was on a waiting list for a room. I was never informed prior to check in that I was on a waiting list; I received an email the day before confirming my stay!! How is it possible with today's technology that a hotel overbooks? Or if it does, why was there not an automated email like the confirmation emails prior, or a courtesy phone call to let me know that I was on a wait list? If you're like me and like some reliability (that's why you make reservations) DO NOT BOOK WITH BEST WESTERN! I made reservations and received multiple confirmation emails, I took time off work and I drove 2 hours to be told they did not have a room for me. I scrambled to find another hotel, I paid a higher price but the most upsetting it caused me to be late to the event I specifically came for. At this point I will never recommend Best Western because it is unreliable and they simply did not care. TRAVELERS BEWARE!!

This is a nice hotel with a warm and friendly staff. The breakfast bar offers a nice variety to choose from, and the menu changed daily. Our room was clean and comfortable. Would definately reccommend and stay here again!

Very nice, quiet and comfortable rooms. The bed was very comfortable. I would have really liked to use the pool and steam room but we arrived late and were too tired. We were in room 208 with a king sized bed. Lots of towels etc.

We decided to stop in Eagle overnight on a road trip. Chose this BW because of its ratings and prices, and were not disappointed. Although I didn't use them, this is the first BW I've seen with a pool/hot tub, sauna, steam room, and fitness room. Everything was really good; no complaints. The breakfast was good too. Easy walking distance to restaurants for dinner - we ate at the Eagle Diner across the street; good stuff there.

I was only here for one quick night but the hotel exceeded my expectations. My room was clean and spacious. It had a fridge, microwave & large tv. All the amenities you could ever need. Big, comfy bed. They had cookies in the lobby when I checked in and complementary breakfast in the morning which was quite good! Overall, I would stay again. Great value, great location, great employees.

This relatively inexpensive and fairly new hotel will exceed your expectations. Walking distance to decent restaurants and comfortable rooms make for a better than expected stay in the ski mountain area.

Very pleasant stay. Hotel was full and still quiet. Nice comfortable bed with soft and firm pillows. Excellent breakfast with eggs, sausage, burrito fixings, gravy and biscuits along with the regular cold breakfast items.

This hotel is only a half hour drive from Vail, and 20 minutes from Arrowhead. The included breakfast is great with hot options and a good variety. Cookies and coffee/hot chocolate are served every afternoon. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is a nice indoor pool and hot tub. Rate is affordable.

My daughter and I stopped in Eagle, Colorado for the night while on our way to Minnesota. Heavy snow overnight and the closure of Vail Pass helped us decide to spend an additional night here. The staff, especially Sarah at the front desk, made our unplanned stay comfortable, pleasant, and even enjoyable. I highly recommend the Best Western in Eagle, CO.

We love to ski Beaver Creek but don't like the prices of the local hotels. This hotel is only a 15 to 20 minute drive and has great space in the suites for a family of 4 to 6. Breakfast is great quality and the staff were very helpful during our stay. We will be staying again !

We stayed here for 1 night and were pleased with it. The room was in good condition and the bed was firm. Breakfast was better than expected with real scrambled eggs (not powdered) potatoes and sausage. They also had pastries, oatmeal and pancakes or waffles.

Not a lot of hotels to choose from in Eagle but this one is OK. It's close to I-70 and about 15 minutes from EGE airport. It was clean and somewhat cozy. It's a few minutes away from a grocery store and a few fast food restaurants. My bed was comfortable and the heater worked great (winter). There is a complimentary breakfast served in the morning. I can't say that the front desk staff was very informative as I had to pull information out of them....nothing was voluntary.

This hotel is right off the freeway yet without freeway noise. Book way ahead during ski season. Very nicely maintained with pool, hot tub, dry sauna and steam room. Great lobby.A caution to not book room 215 or adjacent rooms as they are over the laundry. The dryer noise was very loud and went on periodically from early afternoon to about 8pm

This is a good solid hotel, well located for the Eagle/Gypsum area and somewhat reasonably priced. The staff is great and very helpful. The hot chocolate, spiced cider and fresh cookies were great and hot water is available 24/7.

Our stay was okay. Nothing to be excited about, but not terrible. We had a couple of small issues while we were there, like check in being a nightmare and housekeeping coming in when we had our do not disturb sign out. The real issue was after we left on Christmas Eve. Granted, it was our fault for forgetting something, but damn, mistakes happen and they should definitely handle it better. Once we got home, we realized we'd left our clothing bag with our kids' dirty clothes, swimsuits, and pool floaties in it. I called and spoke to someone who said she would ask the housekeeping manager and call me back. I never heard back. I called back and was told nothing had been turned in. I double checked to make sure we definitely hadn't packed it in the car, we hadn't. I called back and asked for them to check with other people and maybe see if it was put somewhere else because we 100% definitely left it there. I was told call back in 30 minutes. I called back in 30 minutes and was told no, it hadn't been turned in. I was assured that housekeeping is supposed to turn in any found belongings, but apparently that didn't happen in our case, so several days worth of all our kids' clothes, their swimsuits, and pool stuff was all just thrown away. I am livid. How do you just throw away a bag full of clothes without turning it in like you're supposed to? Those were brand new clothes and swimsuits for the vacation.

Jessica at the front desk was terrific in helping me to apply Best Western Gift Cards towards my bill. Breakfast was substantial enough. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Lobby was welcoming. Room was more modern than most Best Westerns. Room and hotel were very clean. An excellent stay for the price. I would stay here again.

This is a very nice hotel. The rooms are comfortable and large! I really enjoyed the room. I enjoyed breakfast. The staff is great and helpful. I will stay at this Best Western any time I get a chance.

We have stayed in this hotel many times in the past and never had any problems but this time we had a problem. The bath tube shower floor in two separate rooms were dangerously slippery when taking a shower. My wife and I nearly fell on a number of occasions . The staff was kind enough to give us a upgraded room but that shower/tub floor had the same problem. Someone is going to fall soon and the hotel is going to be held liable. We put a towel on the tub floor to keep from slipping. The non skid surface is worn out. This problem existed in both room that we occupied.

Came here for a night after a family wedding. We made a reservation in advance for two rooms with 2 queen beds. Our first group came in and received a room, no problem. However, when our second party came to claim the second room on our booking, we were told there are no rooms for us. We showed our confirmation again which clearly stated 2 rooms had been previously booked and paid in full. Maria who was working the desk said that it doesn't matter what our confirmation says because her computer doesn't say the same. We asked if we should wait for a manager or start making our way back to Denver, and Maria couldn't give us an answer. We waited over an hour for Craig to finally show up. And only after another 20 minutes of arguing and insisting that our reservation be honored did the rest of party finally get into a room. If you stay here, I hope to God you don't have to deal with these two incompetent employees.

Our prepaid reservation wasn't found. Despite showing Shannon our confirm, it took 20 minutes to checkin. And then we didn't even get our requested king bed room. This was at 3pm, not late in the evening, btw. At checkout, we were billed - yet again - for our prepaid reservation. More time with Shannon to correct this. She didn't offer us any points for these issues. I asked her for some and was given the “whopping” total of 500 points. No trouble finding hotel which is 2 blocks from the Eagle I70 exit.

great hotel, very convenient off the highway. room was clean and nice, breakfast is free and typical buffet. Staff was very helpful and courteous. don't know if i will need to come through and stay in the area again, but i would certainly stay here again!

This was a great hotel! Has a huge pool, saunas, and the rooms are pretty big. They had a free breakfast that had almost anything you could ask for. Live the fact that they are pet friendly and there are several nearby restaurants. The washer/dryer they have for guests is also really good and gets the job done too. Would stay again and highly recommend you do too!

Stayed two nights in August 2018. We were informed that TVs didn't work in some rooms. Mine did nut my co-pilot's didn't I thought they might offer a discount but didn't. Check in was a bit slow, but I think she was fairly new. The doors to the rooms are very noisy when jerks let them slam.

One night stay @ Best Western in Eagle and was pleasantly surprised. Haven't stayed at a Best Western in a while but will again. Rooms were clean and updated, staff was friendly. Their complimentary breakfast was one of the best I have seen at any hotel. Price of our stay was reasonable and the location was of hotel was good.

First extremely tired and having driven 500 miles i did not have fun going around and around the round about. They need a sign to define where to turn to find the hotel. Driving as above and in the dark in a mountainous area was not conducive to choosing the correct road at the round about. I could see the hotel. I just could not get to it. My problem. Hopefully no one else will have this problem. Otherwise hotel just ok. Carpet needs cleaning in hallway. Desk person was very nice and understanding. Did meet my request for first floor room. Was able to park close. Breakfast was a disappointment. I had just the night before stayed in. Mesquite, at a Best Western which had a great breakfast. This Best Western breakfast was disappointing.

Typical Best Western - nothing special, but conveniently located near the I-70 west of Denver. Bedroom was large, clean. Breakfast was OK - strangely all plates and cutlery were disposable. There is a nearby supermarket and Starbucks where you can get a decent coffee.

We had a great experience at this hotel. It was well located, clean, inviting and Kevin, at the front desk, was personable and attentive to our needs. The fresh cookies on check in were a nice touch. It was refreshing to stay in a hotel that felt like home away from home!

The rooms were nice and comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly! I was happy that the laundry room was available! Lots of food places nearby. The only negative was the phone did not work. I would stay there again!

Having stayed here a few times, we are quite comfortable and always have a good stay. The staff does an excellent job, the rooms large and comfortable and clean (great tv channel selections too). Breakfast (complimentary) was very good in the morning.

We were just making our way home and found this place online. We got a two story very large suite with one King in the main level, and two queens upstairs. There were two bathrooms, wet bar, fridge, microwave, coffee pot. This worked great for our party of 5 and was cheaper than two rooms at $178 a night even on a Friday night. Check in easy and staff friendly, even got goodie bag as a reward member! Rooms, lobby and breakfast area very clean. Breakfast was good with a large selection of hot and cold items. Would recommend, these suites would be great for bigger family or even couples

We were late arrivals but you wouldn't know it. We were greeted like it was the top of the morning. Everyone was pleasant and friendly. The room was very clean and the accommodations met our needs perfectly.

Everything was excellent, but $165.00 a night is too pricey! It's so discouraging when all one needs is a good nights sleep from traveling and they get raped by the cost of a room. Sure it was nice and all, but all we cared about was to sleep, so we wouldn't be driving fatigued and to put others in danger also with ourselves.

Wish we'd had more time to spend here but being on the road sometimes you don't have that liberty. The staff were all very nice. There was a mix up with the reservation but the manager gave us an upgrade to take care of it. They have fresh baked cookies and lemonade when you check in. The rooms are very nice. And the breakfast was the best we have had in a motel yet. Scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, yogurt, 3 kinds of bread, 4 cereals, just to name a few of the things they offer for breakfast. Don't miss out.

The staff were all very polite and helpful. We had a large group of young athletes staying, and they were very accomodating. My room was very clean and everything functional. The pool and outdoor area were a plus for our Cinco de Mayo festivities following the tournament on Saturday evening!

We chose this hotel because of the airport shuttle, and were pleased with the fast service to pick us up. The rooms are updated and nice. The breakfast has a very nice selection of fresh fruit, lots of choices for various hot foods and pastries.

I liked this hotel. The gal at the front desk was super friendly. Our room and bath were clean. A little small for 4 people but slept well. I had a lightning show in the sheets with the static electricity as I was laying down. Breakfast was good the next morning. I would stay here again.

I see all of the nice experiences the others have had so we must have been there on an off day. We spent last night there (4/16). First of all, I think our room might have been over the laundry because every time the washer started spinning, our room started vibrating. After a 12 hr drive, this was the last thing we needed. When it started, my husband called downstairs and asked about it but nothing was done. Secondly, I'm a big fan of cotton sheets. All the bedding was synthetic. Microfiber sheets, down alternative blanket and nylon coverlet on top of nylon carpet. When the lights went out and we pulled up the sheets, the static sparks flew. Earlier, I was sitting on the bed with my lap top and my husband got out of bed and him just scooting on the sheets sent a static shock through the computer and zapped me. You might think about going back to the standard cotton. I know they aren't as inexpensive, but since this hotel is advertised as environmentally friendly - it makes more sense. On the plus side, the room was clean and neat, breakfast was good and had a nice variety. Honestly, if it wasn't for the bedding....it would have been a pretty nice stay.

Room was kept clean on a regular basis during our extended/interrupted stay. The breakfast was wonderful. We'll be staying a total of 3 weeks here broken up and I am fully satisfied. Rooms are quiet and there's not a lot of loud traffic in the area. Plus there's a surplus of places to grab a bite within walking distance. My only complaint is the pool area. The area surrounding the pool was incredibly slippery and I slipped numerous times, along with the husband and kids each a time or two as well. One of my slips ended with falling into the pool and obtaining a very nasty bruise and a few scrapes. The pool was also too chilly for the smaller ones who could do no more than float in the water and were incapable of keeping the body heat up while 'swimming'. While that was an inconvenience I still recommend this place especially if you're in need of a pet friendly and non traumatizing place to reside for the night...or week.

We love this hotel and use it every time we go through Eagle. We had a larger group this time, and used one of the two story suites. It was PERFECT. Plenty of room, two bathrooms, excellent breakfast. We'll be back again!

Great hotel for many reasons. It's location and proximity to Beaver Creek and Vail are a huge plus, at a fantastic price. The is a large indoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, steam room, and sauna! The kids LOVED this! Their breakfast is super fresh and yummy - red potatoes, chobani yogurt, fresh fruit, etc. For an establishment this size, they are staffed well. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Clean rooms with modern decor, both firm and soft pillows on every bed. Easy access to room corridors from parking lot with multiple entrances. This BW Plus is one of the Best we've stayed at. It's important that our kids feel comfy in the hotel, so we'll definitely be back. Fresh baked cookies for the win!

Right off I-70, had rooms were clean and quiet (for the most part). Free Wifi and breakfast are standard which was nice. Directv instead of basic cable was a good added value. Excersize room had good quality equipment in addition to pool, sauna and steam room. Parking on the other hand was a problem due to a funky shaped lot and a lot of long-term guests' big work trucks overlapping spaces. The carpet while new was to thick which makes roller bags a chore to tug along, just and observation. It is a resort area (Vail/Beaver Creek 30 miles away) but the $147 (AAA prepay rate) per night seemed a bit of a premium. Staff was very professional and more importantly available when needed.

Plus the staff is uncommonly helpful, switching our room so it didn't face I-70. Later, we landed at the Eagle/Vail airport at 10:50 pm and their van took us to the hotel after 11:00 pm which is the normal end of that service.

The Best Western Plus Hotel is a very good value for the Eagle-Vail area. The hotel was older and kept very clean. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. There were cookies and hot cocoa in the lobby when we arrived. The only complaint was the bathroom was small.

People are great, hotel is very clean and views are outstanding but its the people that make your stay with greetings as you come in and leave HOT coffee, chocolate and cookies in lobby all the time.Clean pool and workout room just a perk!

I visited Eagle to visit my sister who is recovering from a stroke. The staff, service and facilities are wonderful. The breakfast offers a wide variety and the pool and work out room are very nice. I would recommend this Best Western for families, couples or individuals. Enjoy Eagle a quaint mountain town with a hometown feel.

Although the prices were about $20 higher than the nornal BW hotels, the ammenities and beds were much supperior and the breakfast offered a lot more than expected. Nice and quiet setting, and great place to stay. I would stay again!

I've stayed at this hotel twice for business, and each time it has been very good. The staff is very friendly, all is clean, and they offer good value. My compliant was the in-room climate control. It cycled off/on every couple of minutes, and seemed to be much louder than the average hotel unit. It was constantly waking me up at the lowest possible fan speed.

Helpful staff in making reservations and checking in. Clean, pleasant environment in a nice area where can walk to restaurants. Choices for breakfast with plentiful seating. Two pet areas, and safe to walk pets to other areas

We stayed at the Best Western Plus in Eagle for a hockey tournament. I expected an average lower end hotel accommodation. I was pleasantly surprised how much nicer this property was then my expectations. The rooms were clean, comfortable and not out dated. The lobby and breakfast area were truly inviting. I will stay here again!

This BW is one of my favorites. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was very clean. The breakfast was very good wiyb one exception, i wish the had bananas. I would recommend staying here for a vacation.

This hotel was very clean and well kept. The was pretty comfortable and the room was clean. The breakfast consisted of eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes, etc.... There were two conference rooms on the second floor by all of the suits. There were a few restaurants nearby too.

Appreciate that they gave me the federal government rate - as the last Best Western I tried would not. The room was nice and clean. There is a walkway nearby that you can take over route 70 to a grocery store, liquor and beer store, etc. Very handy. The breakfast was very good. Eggs, sausage, potatoes, gravy and biscuits, tortillas, fruit, yoghurt, etc. If you are heading west, take care when leaving town that you don't get in the wrong lane and go east by mistake. The signs aren't great - we went east and had to go miles out of our way to get back.

Great breakfast and hotel setup some items early for hunters to grab something before heading out at 5-530AM to hunting grounds. Jacuzzi and pool was great to come back to after long day hunting. So much better than camping at Flattop Wilderness under cold weather conditions.

This was a great hotel, at a great location. Nice and quiet. The pool was nice to use. The beds were comfortable. The staff was very welcoming and pleasant. They had a shuttle to take you around town if needed. The pillows were nice. Location was convenient.

My husband and I stayed here over the weekend. The hotel staff was great and served awesome chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon. I am an early morning workout person and really appreciated the fitness center and pool were open at 5:00. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was really good.

This was a very nice hotel just minutes away from Glenwood Springs Colo. at half the price of the BW there. The free breakfast was above the usual fare and well maintained. The hotel was also decorated nicely for Halloween.

Clean, large room and dogs are allowed. Breakfast was okay but the area and room made up for it. Luggage carts are available which is very helpful. Overall, top 10 of Best Westerns I have stayed in and I plan on returning.

The hotel was in a great location. Where rented the suite with 5 beds and a pull out. It was perfect for the 6 of us traveling. The indoor pool was great. Breakfast was just the normal hotel breakfast. Great stay.

Right off I70. Hotel has friendly staff, nice indoor pool and hot tub, comfortable beds. Good breakfast choices. Very reasonably priced hotel. Only downside is it was a bit noisy from interstate traffic.

We stayed at the Best Western for a week long fishing trip to the area. We were very happy with the hotel and staff. No problems were encountered and the room was clean and spacious. For the type of hotel breakfast it was better than most.

We booked on-line for a very good rate. We arrived to a higher rate on the first night and an even higher rate on the the next (Friday) night. Check-in staff was unhelpful. When we checked out, we raised our concern and the check-out clerk gave us the original internet rate for BOTH nights.

We called while on the road and made our reservation with Rachelle...she was so nice and we were ready to adopt her and make her one of our granddaughter. When we arrived she was working along with Courtney...two of the nicest young ladies you could ask for. They helped with our selection for dinner and explained breakfast and all with their hotel. The overall appearance from the time you drive up to walking into the lobby was great. A very appealing appearance and most clean. The lobby is large as is the breakfast area. Breakfast items were kept stocked and appearance was nice as well. The in room wifi worked perfectly along with the refrigerator and microwave. Bed was almost like home and the evening was quiet and restful. We would definitely stop here again when in the area.

The family suites are a perfect way for families with young kids who need naps or to go to bed early to feel comfortable while their kiddos get the rest they need. Also great breakfast and pool for families to enjoy.

The staff was helpful and friendly. The hot tub was not working but the pool area was nice. The room was clean but you can hear quite a bit of noise from the hallway. This hotel is older but has gone through an extensive remodel. A good value for the area. Restaurants and shops are nearby and easy to walk to.

In looking at the many options in the area, we were very pleased with our choice. Staff was excellent and accommodations very good. We enjoyed options of pool, exercise room etc And breakfast options were varied to allow options for all.

We was passing through and needed a place to stay for the night. Found rooms available here which we normally do like to stay at Best Westerns. Friendly staff. Clean, comfortable, spacious rooms. Nice indoor pool and hot tub. Only complaint I do have, if you want to try and rest before 10 PM and you have a room there on first floor ( the pool is right around the corner) there will probably be no resting while the pool is open. Lots of running up and down the halls. Room tip: Get room on highest floor available. (cant remember if they have 2 or 3 floors) but far away from pool.

this was a good hotel to stay in. easy access to freeway. nice rooms. good breakfast. clean facilities. it was a nice little town, lots of options for dinner. this is close to lot of recreation opportunities.

Stopped without a reservation on our way through and were very pleased with the hotel. The lobby is spacious and attractive and the desk clerk was pleasant and helpful. Although we didn't need all the amenities in our room, it was nice to have such a spacious, clean, quiet, comfortable room. The breakfast was nice and had adequate seating. I'd definitely recommend this hotel. The only negative was that I had thought perhaps to do a load of laundry and it appeared they had just gotten new appliances which were not yet set up, so just not good timing on my part.but a plus for others staying in the future.

We stay at Best Western Hotels often and have never had a bad experience with the staff. This time was slightly different. When we presented our travel card to receive a $10 discount, we were told that we could not use it because the room had been prepaid. I find that hard to believe when, just last week, we were at a Best Western, the agent refunded the room and re-charged for the correct amount WITH the discount. What a disappointment it was when the agent said "we don't do that here". She didn't even try. Her attitude is NOT what we've grown accustom to with this hotel chain. If we ever come back to town, we definitely will NOT be staying at this particular spot.

If going to a hotel with I'll mannered staff, run-down rooms, and uncomfortable beds sound great, you should visit. From the disgusting carpet to the freeloading bugs that scurry around, what you pay for isn't worth the experience. The free breakfast will have your tummy turning and your bowels loosening. All-in-all, I'd highly recommend this hotel to someone I did not like.

Stayed the night in Eagle on the way home from a week long vacation to Yellowstone. No problems with reservation, check-in was quick and easy. Room was clean and the bed and pillows very comfortable. This is why Best Western is one of my favorite places.

Usually have good service at Best Western, but we asked to not have a pet room or at least be upstairs, but the staff would not give us a room upstairs. They really need to have rooms set aside that have not had pets.

Stayed here while on a week long off-road motorcycle trip in Colorado. I'm quickly becoming a big Best Western fan. They have really upped their game in the last few years and the BW in Eagle is a good example of a great hotel for the money. Clean, modern rooms in a good location and a Great Breakfast!

Stopped here on our way across country. Got a suite with my dad room was very comfortable and very spacious. My only complaint was the breakfast it wasn't very good. I ended up going out to Starbucks to get something there.

We recently spent two nights here. We chose that's hotel for the location and we have had nice stays in the past at Best Western Plus hotels. We also had our dog with us and this was a perfect hotel for our dog and family. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The microwave and mini-fridge came in handy. Breakfast was excellent. Eggs, bacon or sausage, potatoes, oatmeal, yogurt, waffles etc. The indoor pool is really large and they have a nice hot tub and steam room. They also have a sauna but we were never able to get it hot. The steam room was excellent however. There is a patio area with a barbecue, umbrella table and horseshoe pit right next to the pool area. This made it easy to take turns sitting outside with our dog while the others swam. It is also a good grassy area to walk your dog. The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. We went to Sylvan Lake State Park and this was a very convenient location, only 20 minutes from the park. Don't hesitate to stay here. It's a lovely hotel.

This hotel is perfect for getting an early flight or a late one when you dont want to drive until next day. The plus for me was a choice of pillows , soft , or firm, I am picky about my pillows and this was a great choice, also loved loved the make up wipes beside the bed!!!!!! The only reason I did not give them an excellent rating was because the girl at the desk gave us a room that was already occupied and we had to go back and get another one while already being tired.

The Best Western Plus Eagle Lodge & Suites was a welcome sight last night after driving through the storm. The hotel is conveniently located right off of I-70. Although it was late, the staff was friendly and helpful. It was wonderful to be offered a choice of a gift bag or 500 points and to be given an upgrade to a larger room. The hotel was clean and bright in the lobby, comfortable and clean in the room. The breakfast was great, exceeding our expectations. I'd definitely recommend a stay here.

When we opened the door and saw suite #240, we were shocked in a great way! This is a very large and spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite. The downstairs has a king bed, sleeper sofa, spacious closet, full bath and kitchenette area. The upstairs has 2 queen beds, full bath and another nice closet. There is a privacy door between the upstairs and downstairs. This place was very clean. The beds, pillows and linens were all nice and comfortable. Even the air conditioning was not obnoxious. The view is not bad either. You do look across the parking lot, but the entire area around this hotel is nicely landscaped and well maintained so you see trees with mountains behind them. The breakfast area has plenty of room and the food was fairly well prepared and kept well stocked by the attendant. Our great nieces enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. If you are a Best Western rewards member, you also get a nice goody bag. We highly recommend this Best Western!

I've come to expect a certain quality at hotels at this level, but this one exceeded my expectations. From the nice wood decor of the lobby to the elegant light sconces on the wall facing the front desk, with a neat and orderly snack-and-toiletries set up by the desk and cookies and lemonade out for the sampling, check in was smooth. The room was perfect size even before we discovered the unexpected complimentary upgrade to a suite with its adjoining room up a small private staircase. The in-room fridge was larger than I usually see in a hotel room, plenty of space to hold more than a few snacks. Shower was in good shape and drained properly (just needs a soap dish or shelving to put your items as you bathe since the rim was narrow). The breakfast the next morning was also more than I expected, with two kinds of waffle batter and two different types of waffle presses, a variety of fruits and yogurts, real scrambled and hard boiled eggs, even a nice toppings bar with dried fruits and candies to satisfy both a sugar-happy kid and a health-conscious adult. Do be advised that if the shuttle is sheltering in the short little overhang area outside the front door, you will not have a place to pull up to the door and unload for check-in that is roofed over for protection from the elements. This wasn't a problem for us with the nice summer weather but I could see it being a concern in rain or snow. There's no alternative parking space marked for pulling into when checking in, so you may not be able to park by the door depending on how full the rest of the lot is.

We stayed at this location since it was close to a baseball tournament for my son. This best Western was top notch. The staff was great and the rooms super roomy. We had a suite with two queens and a king. Breakfast was great and the boys really enjoyed it. Overall, we have nothing bad to say about this place. We would definitely stay here again.

Need some R&R? Well this is a great spot to get some. Clean and friendly! We stay here when we need a breathe of fresh air from Aspen. As well as lots of options for leisure. Very enjoyable for a mini vacation.

Nice, clean, room on the ground floor was a handy location - a little spendy but the rrom was oversized and the beds were perfect. Proximity to the show site is great. Restuarants in walking distance are good! That's rare and they were not franchise fast fooders either.

This hotel is right off the highway and central to restaurants and walking paths. Room was super large! Bed was comfortable and amazingly the air conditioner lasted all night! Breakfast was more than the waffles and cereal offerings!

The Best Western Eagle Lodge & Suites is tucked in a moutainside just off the I-70 freeway. The hotel is two hours east of Grand Junction and 30 minutes west of Vail. Even though the establishment has easy freeway access, there is no freeway noise while staying at the hotel. The check-in process was effortless. The hotel lobby is large and reminiscent of a quality ski lodge. Our room was spacious, quiet, and nicely appointed. The king-size bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the large clean pool and spa. I used the business center computer to tend to business communication. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of fresh and tasty breakfast items the next morning. The coffee was excellent. The check-out process was fast and effortless as well. During our stay, the entire staff was friendly and accommodating at all times. We plan to return to the BW Eagle Lodge. We have already recommended the hotel to several friends and family members.

This was the first hotel for the return trip home after being on a rode trip where we had been to 12 states in 10 days of sight seeing. We were very tired,and my husband had become sick, so we were very glad to be going home.

One of the nicer BW's I've ever stayed in, actually had good food for breakfast and even provided real half and half in a carafe instead of those landfill nightmares of the little containers. Great staff, met the on line price quoted by bw.com

This hotel offers a great location, close to restaurant's, gas, shopping. The hotel is well managed. All stsff members are very professional, offering comfort, cleanliness, superior service & a great breakfast.

The computers were not working at check in and I was told to "sit over there and wait". No offer of a bottle of water or a good place to eat. I left for an errand and when I returned 40 minutes later, the computers were still down. When I insisted on a room the computers suddenly started working. This could have been handled much more professionally. The hotel was nice, there is an elevator. Breakfast was the same as most motels - mediocre. It is advertised as a full breakfast however it was not that in my opinion.

The room was comfortable, the ambiance welcoming, the breakfast buffet full of delicious variety. The pool was fantastic and the hot tub soothing. Internet connection worked flawlessly. I would stay there again.

Quick overnight stay on the way from Denver to the western slope. Warm and friendly staff and comfortable room. Good value for money. For some reason I need to say more - I think I said it all - but no worries.

Right off the highway and very convenient location. Very nice front desk staff. The room was comfortable and already cool when we got their. Breakfast included omelets, waffles, and everything else you'd see that time of day. Would definitely stay here again. Close to downtown.

We needed a stop off on our way to DIA from I-70. I usually try to stay at Ihg hotels but couldn't find one in the area. We were very pleased with the Eagle Best Western. Our room was economically price. It had a refrigerator, microwave. It was very clean and decorated nicely with white wood work and crown molding. The breakfast was great with nice selections. Our check in Desk person was very polite and helpful as well as were the morning staff.

We stayed in Eagle to break up our drive to Fruita and couldn't have been more pleased with the town and hotel. Great staff, pool, and location. There is a great brewery (Bonfire) in Eagle, as well as excellent trail for mountain biking!

Nice hotel and nice stay. Walkway to grocery store across highway 70 was convenient and store was very nice. Pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room were great. Very clean and warm water. Breakfast was good quality.

Hotel was great but getting places and finding hotel was a hassle because of 3 round abouts. We took wrong exits after going out to eat and ended on I-70 and had to go 9 miles to turn around. Not hotels fault but unnerving.

In Eagle for one night. Our unit was exactly what we needed. King bed with full bath on main level and 2 queens and separate bath for the kids on the upper level. Free morning breakfast was nice also. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

Great stay, as usual. We stay here every 6 months or so when we travel from sw Utah to the Lakes region in NH. We have a dog and stay in pet friendly hotels that are very clean and very comfortable. The Eagle CO Best Western is both.

First time at the BW Plus Eagle Lodge. It maybe a short get-away from Denver, but you feel like you've been away for days! My sisters & I had a great time celebrating a birthday in the Eagle/Vail area, and staying at the lodge! Friendly staff, clean rooms, relaxing pool amenities, a delicious complimentary breakfast, and a great location to boot! So, don't forget the hiking boots; Sylvan State Park is not far away! ~ Lenore K.

We were in town for a lacrosse tournament. The hotel was well located. We walked to dinner and to the bowling alley. Rooms were exceptionally clean. The kids enjoyed the pool and the facility had grills for groups that might want to cook for themselves.

This was my second trip to Eagle for business and my second stay at the Best Western Plus Eagle Lodge & Suites. The last time I stayed here was 3 years ago when it was newly renovated, and I am very impressed with how well the hotel has been maintained -- it looked just as new as it was 3-years ago! I was accommodated in an Executive Suite, which is perfect for business travelers with separate living room/work space and bedroom on the second floor. I got plenty of exercises climbing up and down the stairs. :) My room was immaculately clean, as I commented to the general manager, Amy the bathtub looks clean enough to eat off it! I love the hotel's location, walking distances to restaurants. I am normally a late riser, but would sacrifice a few hours of my sleep to have breakfast, which was a generous buffet spread of hot and cold items!

Traveled to Eagle for business and stayed at the Best Western Plus Eagle Lodge. I was impressed with how friendly and helpful the staff was, as well as the cleanliness of the hotel. I stayed in a business suite and loved how spacious they are, it is worth the extra money! There are many great restaurant options within walking distance and as I headed out to eat, I was frequently offered a ride by the shuttle driver. Breakfast exceeded my expectations, they have many options and they changed the menu each day. I was sad I forgot my bathing suit as the pool, sauna and steam room seemed very inviting but I will definitely bring it the next time I am back with my family. Loved this hotel!

This is a great family hotel (probably the best place to stay in Eagle). We were in town for a lacrosse tournament. The hotel has a large indoor pool for kids. A full buffet breakfast is provided. The rooms are very clean and there are little touches that make the experience nicer overall: a clean remote, a bench, iron, nice soaps and shampoo, nice bedding with extra blankets and pillow. I had the receipt under the door when I woke up. I recommend asking for a room on the opposite side of I-70. Some noise in the morning, but not terrible.

This is the best BW I have stayed at. The breakfast was fresh and well prepared. We enjoyed the larger room, microwave and small refrigerator and were delighted to find a sauna and steam room in addition to the pool.

Great time. Staff was helpful. We had a great time and the kids had a blast in the pool while the parents all sat outside or in the dining area. We will definitely book this hotel again next year for the Vail lacrosse tournament

If you have kids this pool is great! It is very large and shallow area on both ends. The hot tub is right at pool so the adults can sit and relax while still watching the kids. It had a fantastic steam room and dry sauna. The hotel was very clean! The beds were comfortable. The staff seemed bored but the location is perfect.

The large suite rooms worked very well for our group. Everyone got their own bed for the price of one room. The hotel is located conveniently in town with access to all of Eagle. Good Accommodations for Mountain Bikers

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and I wasn't disappointed. The room was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast is outstanding with lots of options. It is conveniently located to the interstate, restaurants and the downtown area of Eagle.

We took our Toy Poodle on a 12 day trip and stayed at Best Westerns every night. This hotel was the highest price, and they charged $30 for our Toy Poodle to stay. The Pet Area was a small space of grass by the back doors and we had payed as little as $10 at other Best Westerns. Next time we travel we would not stay here because of the high pet fee.

The best best western hotel so far. Very big and spacious rooms, and cafeteria, Indoor pool with hot tub, dry sauna and steam room, fitness room. My family loved swimming and relaxing there. Plus for free water, coffee or tea at the lobby section. Great location and nice view. I highly recommend this hotel. Only $114 for double bed room. Deal.

I was there with a sport group. It was very clean, friendly and the beds were really comfortable and the temperature of the room was perfect. The price wasn't too expensive and I asked for a late check out and they had no problem with that.

This is now my second time staying at this hotel. Another awesome stay! The hotel is extremely clean, The staff is so friendly and outgoing. The manager even said welcome back to me ( they must've recognized me from my last stay about a month ago). It made me feel very special. This is the only hotel I would stay at in Eagle Colorado!

My wife, son, and daughter stayed here over Presidents Day Weekend so that we could be close to Vail and Beaver Creek. We don't typically stay at Best Western, but this was by far the most reasonably priced option that was near the resorts we wanted to target. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of our stay and would definitely choose this option again. I do not know this for sure, but it appears that this is an older hotel that was recently renovated. It has some of the best features of a newer hotel like refurbished rooms and public areas as well as some of the charm of older hotels like large pools, steam rooms, and saunas. The breakfast was nothing fancy, but always filling and suited our family just fine. The location still requires a 20 or so minute drive to the resorts, but the savings are well worth it, especially during periods of extreme price markups like Presidents Day or spring break.

Arrived here late at night after driving through i-70 in the dark, and we were lucky enough to get a room ... although it was more than I usually pay for hotels it was worth it ... very clean, great service, I highly recommend this hotel.

My family and i stayed at the Best Western lodge in Eagle Colorado the weekend of November 5th, 2016. At around 12:30 am, i felt something crawling on my face. It turned out it was a bed bug. I got my kids up and my we all moved to an upstairs room as far away from the bed bug room as possible. We stashed everything we brought in the room off the floor in a paranoid and careful manner. Later the next day, i started getting a itchy swelling welt on my hand from a bed bug bite. I provided a captured bed bug to the hotel staff. The bed bug was in room 148.

Clean and comfortable room, with internet, great Breakfast selection and all I needed to get my workout in. Will continue to use this facility when I'm in the Eagle Edwards area. Aside from one bad cup of coffee.. all was perfect.

This facility is either new or superbly maintained. We especially liked the two story suites with 3 queen beds and a couch. Up scaled complimentary hot breakfast. Staff was consistently helpful and pleasant. Pool is indoor (great in winter but pretty humid in summer). Parking lot very full end of July 2016. I look forward to the next visit.

We stayed for 2 nights as a family (me, husband, 9-y/o twins) in late October so my son & husband could go hunting in the Edwards area. While the boys went hunting, my daughter & I knew we'd be spending a significant amount of time in the room, so we wanted something with a little more space. Our check-in was very quick thanks to Jason on the front desk. He was friendly and even provided us with a great little handout that had a lot of the local restaurants on it that proved to be very useful. My daughter indulged in the fresh-baked cookies in the lobby. Speaking of the lobby, they had the entire thing adorably decorated for Halloween. They had spread cobwebs and the like throughout the lobby and up the stairs. There was a trio of witches (motion-activated) stirring their cauldron and skeletons here and there. Very festive! We booked into one of the 3-bed suites. This has a king-sized bed, pull out couch, mini kitchen area (microwave, coffee maker, fridge), table & 2 chairs downstairs and a full bath downstairs. Upstairs has a full bath, two double beds and what I would call a reading nook with a chair. Both areas have nice-sized closets and both bathrooms had blow-dryers (no diffusers). The kids loved that they had what amounted to their own apartment upstairs. What we learned is that our kids walk like a herd of elephants at all times. I could not believe how incredibly loud they were! We were constantly reminding them to WALK and no jump/stomp/run up and down the stairs and in their room. While I do attribute a majority of the noise to them being kids, I would warn you that sound carries like mad from the stairs on up in this room. Also, while the kids are upstairs in a separate area, there still isn't much for privacy for the parents. The downstairs bed is positioned right off the foot of the stairs without anyway of closing it off. Also worth mentioning the bed has a somewhat awkward viewing position of the TV. It's better viewed from the couch. The pool was amazing. It was good-sized and indoors. The area was clean and well maintained. We did think it was a little odd that the door that lead from the upper floor (where we stayed) was locked to the pool area. This meant that you had to traipse through the lobby in your bathing suit. There was also a dry sauna and a steam room in the pool area. The steam room meant business & even had a eucalyptus scent within it. My husband loved it but couldn't stay in there more than a few minutes at a time. The breakfast was terrific. I'll list the offerings because I know that affects my choice in hotel sometimes: Eggs, hash browns, sausage or bacon, biscuits & gravy, cereal, yogurt, boiled eggs, toasts, cinnamon rolls, pancake maker, waffle maker, bagels, 3 juices, coffee, tea, milk, (but no cocoa!), flavored creamers, jellies, butter, cream cheese, weird packaged pico, honey and the usual fixings for coffee. Zero complaints on the food. They did have a little business area that included two PCs and a printer. I didn't use them but they looked perfectly sufficient and welcoming. Another area we noticed but didn't utilize was their outdoor picnic area. They had a BBQ and several tables & chairs outside, as well as a horse-shoe pit. The only area for improvement I would point out is within the housekeeping department. Our towels were replenished but none of our hand-towels or wash clothes (including the little black make-up cloth). We noticed the same problem in the pool area and had to request that additional towels be brought in so all of us didn't drip through the lobby on our way back to the room. The toiletries (shampoo & conditioner, facial cloths) were also not replenished. This aside the room was kept clean and was very welcoming. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for families or groups of friends who all want their own bed but would enjoy sharing common space. I'm already considering a return visit with girl-friends as well as planning another visit for the family next year!

Our stay was very pleasant. Clean and friendly. The couch that made into a bed did not have sheets on it, there was a note on it saying they had to call the front desk to have them brought up, which they did. On the second night they made us go down and get them ourselves.

Our family stayed for one night at this property. Compared to other Best Western Plus properties, the rooms here (particularly the bathrooms) were on the small side. Oddly enough, the hallways were very wide. This hotel is pet friendly (fee). The staff at the front desk were friendly and quite helpful, including treats for visiting canines, and cookies for us. The hot breakfast was fine and in a nice sized room. There is an indoor pool and hot tub. The price was a bit higher than expected, but Eagle is not that far from Vail. This hotel is conveniently close to the relatively new pedestrian/bicycle bridge going to the north over I-70. In only a few minutes you can stroll to a variety of good restaurants and shops.

This hotel had everything you needed to make your stay comfortable. It had breakfast (although I'd like to see a few more gluten free and dairy free options),, fitness center, nice pool and jacuzzi, comfortable rooms, etc. In no way is this luxurious, but that's not what we wanted. Maybe a better snack shop option instead of potato chips and candy bars, for the healthier eater, but we would stay here again for sure.

If you are planning a trip to Vail or Beaver Creek, you might want to consider staying at this hotel in Eagle. It is very near the Eagle county airport. This really is meaningful if you have an arrival late in the day or early in the morning. It is very clean, reasonable in price, and offers a full breakfast. While you do have a drive to your ski destination, this is a great way to spend the first or last night on your trip and save money. I was so pleased with my stay last year I plan to stay here this year everytime I go to Vail. This really is a great option and offers a great value for the money.

The employees were great, the room really good, and breakfast was better than expected. Considering the price, it's a very good deal for the location. Make sure to pick up some cookies in the lobby. The chocolate chunk is recommended.

Very good location - stay cautious of missing entrance on roundabout. Outstanding breakfast, but the furniture in the living area of the 2 level suite was very uncomfortable. Save the money and get a regular room, everything else was fine!

Charmless hotel with charmless dark rooms. If you are unlucky like I was, you can actually hear what the next room neighbor is saying or listening to. Plastic forks and knives and paper plates for an average breakfast, I was expecting more from a Best Western "PLUS" .....

The price you see will be much higher after taxes and fees. The bed was good. Room small for the price. Bathroom very compact. Small fridge no freezer. Staff from checking to housekeeping were not very friendly at all. Asked for first floor (handicapped) but were not accomadted but they do have an elevator. This location is not in the forest it is high desert. Having driven thru Frisco east of here we wish we had booked there but that is not the hotels fault. Our mistake. Full hot breakfast a plus. Nice pool/spa.

Surprisingly nice accommodations for the price point! Clean rooms, and a fantastic complimentary breakfast with hot and cold options. 1/2 of the the hotel has been renovated, while the other 1/2 has not. The older side is still very nice and clean. Easy access to Highway 70.

A classy and busy chain hotel with warm chocolate chip cookies and lemonade on arrival at front desk. Comfortable rooms and beds. Great pool and hot tub. Good breakfast with attendants who will replace any items promptly when notified. Nice staff and adequate parking. Nice décor in lobby.

We stopped here on a quick overnight stay while traveling across Colorado. Rooms were spotlessly clean and rather big, and the beds super comfortable. There is a brand new foot bridge behind the hotel which allows one to cross the highway easily to visit the businesses on the other side. Most importantly, it was a lot less expensive than most hotels a few miles east in the vail area. For that reason alone, if in the area I would not be opposed to staying here again.

Everything was fine except for the breakfast.. Needs improvement. Out of product--bacon and sausage gravy -- for to long of time and the eggs and potato's were cold and unseasoned. Two ladies were on duty so they should have kept up. We liked Jason on the front desk. .

Standard type room for BW Plus. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Breakfast area was clean and well attended. Really no complaints! Getting to the place was a little tricky ... not used to traffic circles and signage (traffic type) was not good! But that is on the city/state not the hotel.

Front desk personnel need help. While they did their job, when I walked by after checking in I noticed them playing on the computer and looking at their cell phones. Once one was even camped out in the lobby playing on her phone. Room was larger than expected with two stories. Cleaned exceptionally well. Only disappointment was the upstairs AC is a wall unit that is both noisy and struggled to keep the upper level cool. Advise that you run the taps in the showers for a few seconds to clear gunk out of the lines. After that I had an excellent, strong, hot shower with a nice clean showerhead. Towels could probably be upgraded and perhaps I am one of the few that likes to smell bleach on my white towels. Bed was not made the 2nd day. Perhaps I filled out the instruction card wrong. TVs worked excellent. Internet was poor - had to use my cell phone hot spot. Verizon worked well here. Pool was too cold. Hot tub may have had some soap spilled into it - excessively foamy and bubbles had a sheen to them and floor felt slightly slimy. The steam room took the full claimed 10 mins to heat up and then was functional but not overly steamy. It had a strange smell, not overly bad but not fresh and clean. Breakfast was meh. Parking filled up fast here. Luckily you can leave the car and walk to a burger place or across the new pedestrian bridge (5 mins) to the City Market and an Italian place I didn't have the chance to try. Even a short walk to the diner at the traffic circle was decent. I'd stay here again. Pretty nice for a Best Western - usually I try to avoid the chain. Oh yeah, the laundry was STILL broken when I visited a week ago.

A great place to spend the weekend! Friendly, organized, clean, spacious! The location is very convenient to the Interstate as well as post office, dining, and many other services. The room was very spacious. We used the accessible room and found it very easy for a wheelchair to turn around and navigate the furniture and bathroom.

Clean, spacious room on the main floor for easy access to the free parking. Breakfast included was quite good with a good choice of food. Bed was very comfortable and quiet. There was a nice indoor pool and large hot tub with strong jets to give a good massage of the legs after some big cycling rides! Would not hesitate to stay here again

This is a beautiful motel. We had a little trouble understanding the girl at check in. She could not speak English very well. When I ask about the guest laundry, I was told it was broken. No we're sorry or alternative option. The room was great! Very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I would stay at this motel again.

I loved this hotel, I reseved the 3 bed suite and it was amazing super spacious clean and comfortable. Breakfast was my favorite I totally recomed this hotel to anyone, the breakfast menu included Gluten free items too.

The staff was great and the breakfast was really good. They had plenty of amenities with the indoor pool and fitness center. The hotel was conveniently located with a straight shot to downtown, but still close to the freeway.

Very reasonable price for great location and facility - clean and nice with all amenities. We visited in the slow season (not winter!) and they are the kind of property that will offer qualities that you'd expect in a much more expensive lodge - again, in the center of the local activities!

My wife and I were driving across the USA from Boston to Los Angeles with a bulldog. This hotel provided clean, well laid out, welcoming, comfortable and dog friendly overnight accommodation at a fair price. Our room was on the ground floor which seemed to be the sensible norm for guests with dogs. An unlit, small grassy “dog walking” area, complete with bags was provided. A really nice touch was the provision of a dog welcome bag on check-in. The reception staff were pleasant and helpful. A very good breakfast, which we took in turns to eat as the dog could not be left unattended in the room, was included although it was very busy.

We stay in Eagle a couple of times a year, driving to and from visits with the family. the Lodge generally is not the least or most expensive hotel available. This week we booked the room late and had to pay an extra $20, but it was worth it. A clean, well kept hotel with friendly staff. We have tried several hotels in the area, and this BW will be our hotel of choice the next time we are passing through.

All in all, we were very pleased with our stay at the Best Western Plus Eagle Lodge and Suites, Eagle Colorado. We did have problems with intermittent hi speed internet but were so tired, we did not care, did not report it and watched TV instead. The room was very comfy, clean and quiet and very nicely sized. The breakfast was great with hot entrees like scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, etc. as well as cold boiled eggs, cereals, both hot and cold, waffles, etc. All in all a great experience! (we should have reported the intermittent internet - I now feel guilty I did not)

The receptionist helped us print our boarding passes when a previous user had changed all the computer settings. We appreciated her assistance. She also recommended a good restaurant and showed us the menu. The room was spacious and had all the amenities. Breakfast was quite good.

Our stay was comfortable the hotel was clean and nicely updated . All amenities great. All staff really nice. Fitness center was nice and clean. Good options for breakfast provided. Loved the indoor pool.

Great location, excellent service and cozy. Felt like a lodge. also, I woke up with a flat tire and the car shop is just around the corner. I got into town and was tired and needed a place to stay. also, I walked around the village and there was a fruit stand across the street so i gto to try fresh fruit.

My family and I stayed here for four nights and this property exceeded our expectations. I travel alot and normally stay with Hyatt or Hilton. I have only stayed at Best Western properties a couple times the past and this was by far the best. The staff was very friendly, particularly the General Manager, Amy. She was so welcoming and genuinely cared about my family during our stay. Amy greeted us each day as we enjoyed a great breakfast and she also took the time to listen and she engaged with every guest the same way. She is the perfect example of an outstanding General Manager and will no doubt be a regional manager someday, or maybe even CEO of Best Western. My family looks forward to staying here when we return to Eagle!

Needed to stop for a night with our family of 7 + 1 friend and our dog. You can imagine it's not easy to find a hotel that offers a room big enough to comfortably fit everyone, but this Best Western did! Our room had 2 stories, 2 bathrooms, 4 queen beds and a twin sofa bed. LOTS of space! Price was very reasonable, too. The room was simple but clean, staff was friendly, and there was a nice selection for breakfast. The walls must be very thin because we could hear kids running around next door, but we were tired enough to not let it bother us much. Overall, it was a nice place to stop!

We were very pleased with our stay at the BW Eagle motel! Very friendly staff that greeted us! They even offered to carry my luggage upstairs for me!! Our room was spacious and very clean. The pool was wonderful (big) as well as the sauna! Great breakfast!!

We stayed in a two room suite on August 5, 2016 before heading to Hanging Lake. There was a queen-sized bed and bathroom on the first floor along with a couch, TV, microwave, and fridge. Then up a flight of stairs inside the hotel room were two more queen-sized beds, bathroom, and another TV. Very spacious (800sf). Liked that each bed offered firm and soft pillows to please everyone. The breakfast the next morning was very good and had long hours. As an FYI, this hotel is about 40 minutes from Hanging Lake and very convenient. We left for hike early afraid of not getting a parking space and then returned to the hotel for a shower and breakfast.

This is a great location in the middle of the Rockies, close to great eating places. Beautiful view. We stayed in a two-story suite which was awesome. The only problem was the people next door who let their child run up and down making noise until after 10:00 p.m.

Upon arrival, we were greeted with chocolate chip cookies. The room was your standard hotel room. 2 queen beds, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, small desk. Bathroom had one sink. Fluffy towels. Lots of channels on the TV and good wi-fi. We went to the pool one evening and it was very clean. We didn't eat the breakfast but it looked good. Our room was missing a hair dryer, I notified the front desk person and by the time I got back to my room the maid met me there with the hair dryer. Definitely would stay here again. Good location.

I needed a room with 4 beds. Eagle Lodge & Suites had what I needed and for a decent price. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff was professional and helpful. I would recommend this Best Western Plus if you are looking for a clean, comfortable motel that won't break the bank.

Great value for the dollar. Large room, very clean. Excellent pool/ spa/ sauna facilities, easy access from freeway. Terrific breakfast. Could not get a room in Glenwood Springs so stayed in Eagle....glad we did.

We picked this hotel based solely on trip advisor's rating. We don't agree. Average. Good location, relatively quiet. Big negative - access to hotel is wide open. No exterior security. Women might consider somewhere more secure. If I didnt have my husband with me, I would be nervous about having someone walking the hallways! Plants in pots need attention, we feel this is always a good indication of whats going on inside. Popcorn in our room window track the whole time we were there, even after being mentioned to front desk twice. Not just one piece, a whole line of popcorn! Mud clumps on stairway to our floor. Obviously not vacuumed, because after two days, mentioned to front desk. We think someone is asleep at the switch.

This is a very clean well run establishment. We walked in and used the lobby for a 'project' spreading out boxes and paper in a seating area before ever checking in. I told them if we could check in we would, but we needed to use the lobby for bit to get ready for a meeting. They were completely fine with it. The room was very clean, nicely updated and quiet. Also of note the air conditioning they had was quieter than most of those wall units and kept the room comfortable, not cold. The facility is dog and kid friendly.

We had a two queen room with mini fridge and couch area. Room was large and clean, beds were comfy with two types of pillows to choose from. Included breakfast was as expected, not stellar, not bad. The pool area is nice, includes a hot tub and sauna. Work out facilities are available. Staff was nice. I would stay here again.

The hotel was very clean. Staff was excellent. Beds were clean and comfy. We "upgraded" to a deluxe room (+$10) so that we would not be on the freeway side of the building. Housekeeping forgot to restock the makeup removing pads and washcloths the second day, but other than that service was good. Our room had a small fridge and a mini sink, with two queen beds and a sofa that might have pulled out. My only complaint, and this is likely the same at all of these hotels in Eagle, was the noise. The construction of the hotel allowed for a LOT of noise under the doors and through the walls. Bring your ear plugs! Crazy how others think you want to hear slamming doors and "good morning" greetings at 6 am, along with horns honking in the parking lot. We heard our neighbor's phone on vibrate, and when they slammed their doors our walls shook behind the headboard. Not too much management can do about that- apart from having better construction from the beginning. Maybe they could put notes in the room to be considerate of others? Apart from that, the stay was nice and the staff was wonderful. If you plan on waking up early, you will be in business! If you want organic coffee and food, Yeti's Grind in town is lovely :)

The rooms with the kitchenette and the pull out couch are absolutely perfect for a family of 4-5. Fridge is great size, microwave perfect and nice to have the bar sink. Beds were super comfy. Hotel staff was very attentive and polite. Pool is great for the kids and quite big. Hotel breakfast is wonderful. Especially for kids. Eggs, oatmeal, potatoes, tortillas, waffles, pancakes. They had everything! Very pleased with our stay.

I wish all hotels in this class would be like this hotel. We stayed in the duplex room. It was excellent. Plenty of room, clean, decently modern, not very new. You watch some TV downstairs in the family room, then when it gets late, go upstairs to the "master bedroom" to finish the show in the bed. Almost like home. The breakfast was pretty good. Regular hot continental breakfast that you'll find at most hotels, but the counters were clean, the service personnel was nicely and promptly taking care of supplying food or replenishing products. The pool was overcrowded by some loud and quite rude big group of boys but this wasn't the hotel's fault. Although the pool should be illuminated more during the evening and should provide towels. The front desk girls were very nice, thank you again! If you plan to go there for the Christmas vacation, it gets booked up fast so you need to reserve the room well in advance (September the latest). It's also 20 min conveniently close to Vail, which for a big city as where I come from, it's like the same neighborhood.

We stayed one night and we were happy with everything! The lobby and rooms were very nice. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom and the entire room was very clean. They had a free happy hour which was great and then so was their free breakfast. The staff was very friendly and professional. I can highly recommend this hotel. The price was good too.

We had a quick night but could tell right away this was a well run hotel. Form our initial reservation process, driving up to a clean and well landscaped exterior, a quick and friendly check-in, extra large and well cleaned room., a good nights sleep, and great breakfast before we left. What more could you ask for?

This motel offers a lot for the money. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was quite acceptable. The rooms were quiet. The pool was quite cold; however, the ambient air temperature of the pool room was warm, which made swimming less chilly. Overall an excellent motel!

We attended a wedding in Eagle, Co at 3pm. We were able to check-in to our room early and refresh after a long road trip. We appreciated that very much! The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The next morning we had a great breakfast. The location of the hotel is close to I-70.

we had a grand time staying at this hotel and seeing the eagle area. it a wonderful area to look around. great places to eat at. we wish that we would have had more time to spend in the eagle area and the next time we are that way we will plan tto stay longe

Was a very nice size room especially after a long day in the car with children. The employees we encountered were all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was very nice. I would throughly recommend this hotel.

Check in was efficient. Room and total beds worked out well for a group of (12) .... large swimming pool was a treat for (5) children ages (5) to (14) years old. Location off of interstate 70 worked out well. We continued on to Utah.

The staff were very accommodating! They were very attentive to any requests. The cookies and lemonade in the lobby were yummy and refreshing. The grounds were well kept. Plenty of patio space to sit outside at night.

Very good property with associated meeting & conf. rooms. Rooms had all amenities including fridge and microwave. The day staff, when we arrived early before check-in at 3:00 and present the next morning, were warm, professional, and hospitable. The evening crew, not so much. They weren't bad, just too professional and perfunctory. We took the wrong elevator to 2nd floor, then had to ask how to get to our room and had to ask someone else exactly where the other elevator was. Minor but just a needless hassle. Breakfast was included, but we only had juice and coffee.

Rooms were spacious, clean, cool,and the tv selection was enormous. Breakfast was good and the place was well maintained.patio area needs help. There was broken glass and standing water. Front desk help was accommodating but one gal never looked up from her phone.

Very quiet and relaxing, although it is not a location that you can walk to things. You must drive everywhere, its not far out of the way, just not a central location. The people at check in where not as personable as the ones at checkout. They were not nasty acting, just not warm and fuzzy. Not a problem just an observation... The breakfast was pretty darn good and plentiful.

Needed a last minute room and was able to book this last minute for a decent rate. Lady at check in was very nice and the room was quite comfortable and great bed and shower. Super breakfast buffet the next morning, i would stay there again for sure.

I love the Best Western chain for their cleanliness, quality of service, and breakfast. Very convenient location, there's a good local diner within walking distance. We closed the curtains and slept like babies.

I had been on the road about a month, camping my way across the country, when I ended up in Eagle Co. just after a major snow storm. As such I decide to treat myself to what I hoped would be a nice hotel room with a comfy bed. This Best Western did not disappoint. I had looked up a deal on a travel website and they honored the price immediately. They gave me a plush room with a huge bed and a great couch and all the cool amenities. Breakfast was hot and included things like eggs, bacon, and plenty of cereals and fruits and such. They even had a place set up to get hot chocolate and cookie throughout the day. My budget normally would have only allowed me to stay one night, but I was so happy and so comfortable there after being out camping for so long that I stayed an extra night. It is also easy to walk around downtown Eagle from the hotel. Cute town. It was a great base for driving to see the highest peaks in the Rockies (Mt Massive and Mt Ebert) as well as being close to Vail and Aspen without the exuberant prices. All in all a great place, in cute town with wonderful rooms and a nice hot breakfast. Oh and don't forget the cookies!

Needed to stop on way to Wyoming. The staff was helpful at check in. The room was comfortable and relaxing. The next morning's breakfast was excellent and the staff very helpful. We enjoyed our overnight stay and were invigorated for the next day's drive through the Rocky Mountains.

We were passing through Colorado on our way to Las Vegas and needed a place to stay for the night. This was an excellent choice! Nice clean rooms, free breakfast, friendly staff and reasonable prices! Easy to get to off of interstate 70. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

I was excited to see that this hotel had a three-bedroom suite, which is perfect for my family of five. Unfortunately, the suite offered no doors to separate the rooms, meaning I could hear exactly when my kids got up at the crack of dawn. There was a staircase separating the main living area from the upstairs "rooms," and it was nice to have two separate bathrooms, but next time I will look for a place with actual doors. The hotel was clean and the beds were nice. We had a problem with our bill at checkout, which took about 15 minutes to resolve. The breakfast was ok, but the waffles tasted like cardboard. The pool was too cold for my kids to enjoy. There was broken fitness equipment in the gym, too. I liked the location right off the freeway and the proximity to a great burger joint (Expert Burger). The hotel was a good jumping off point for our visits to Glenwood Springs, Aspen, and Leadville. Overall, I enjoyed the hotel but I would recommend that they describe the layout of the suites more accurately.

Our stay and Eagle Lodge & Suites exceeded any of our expectations. It is by far the best hotel I've ever stayed in. Food, service, amenities, decor unbelievable! The stone fireplace hearth and antler chandelier were awesome. Breakfast had everything you could ever want.

I come to Eagle on business trips. I always stay at this Best Western because it is close to where I will be working and it is within walking distance of restaurants, and other points of interest. It is very close to the interstate, and you can see beautiful mountain views from the windows of some of the rooms. My room was upgraded and was huge! I felt special by the service that was presented to me. I will stay here again.

I went out to Denver and Eagle for business and I found the Best Western Plus. It was a nice hotel, room was very comfortable with a couch and a king sized bed. They had breakfast in the morning consisting of bacon, eggs, danishes and multiple other items. Staff was very friendly and helpful and were great in recommending the Italian restaurant just down the road which was fantastic.

Was very Clean great amenities, breakfast was excellent. Started at 7am which was the only down fall. Very happy and pleasant staff. Easily accessible from the highway. The hotel allows pets which is very helpful. I defiantly would stay there again

This place has a great breakfast, indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, Steam room, weight room, and horse shoes. We stayed here 3 different times this year already. They were very accommodating when our girls hockey team stayed there.

This is a beautiful property and a great value. We had to travel for medical surgery in Vail and the staff was helpful and courteous with booking a room accessible for my needs. The breakfast selection outstanding and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Everything was in working order and the included ammenities were above and beyond expectation.

After hiking in the morning and traveling several hundred miles, we happened upon the Eagle Lodge and Suites. The young lady who checked us in was very nice and helpful. She suggested restaurants within walking distance which we had requested. We were very happy with her recommendations. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We were able to walk laps in the large pool for some exercise and then relax in the hot tub. Clean comfortable rooms with a rather small bathroom but adequate for us. Excellent hot breakfast with a nice variety of selections.

Superb decor, comfort and staff. This is the place to stay! Great breakfast too:) I did not try the pool or spa but it looked very nice. Hot cocoa and apple cider with cookies in the evening was also a special treat.

We stayed here on our way out to Utah. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The room we had was small but clean. The pool was the highlight for our kids they had foam supports and balls In the pool areas for kids to play with. The hotel was very quiet and restful. The breakfast was better than a typical hotel breakfast, so I was very impressed. Two types of waffles or pancakes that you can make. Eggs, biscuits and crisp bacon. -note these were good and I'm very picky! I was very impressed and would highly recommend this place to anyone.

The suite options offered by this hotel were just what we needed to make an overnight stay for the 7 of us possible. The pool, sauna, and steam-room were just what my kids look for in a hotel after a long day in the mountains. The location of this hotel puts it in range of the Vail resorts for a couple days of skiing.

We were headed east from Dinosaur when traffic closed I-70 at Vail Pass and at Mount Vernon Canyon into Denver so we stopped for a steak in Eagle to see if it would clear. It didn't. We booked a room here before the rush, finished our steak and checked in. The place is perfectly fine and is better than most of the BW's we've stayed in. Check in was a breeze; the staff is friendly and the room very comfortable. If we have cause to stop in Eagle again, we'll stay here.

We were in a tough spot last week when flying out of Vail/Eagle and they closed the airport late in the afternoon. Melissa went out of her way to give us quality service and it was much appreciated! Thank you!

This is not the first time we have stayed here. It is worth a return visit. The rooms are clean and the beds comfy. The people working the front desk make you feel like they want you to stay with them. Very friendly, outgoing and courteous. This stay was due to a snow storm and I honestly thought the price would be jacked up greatly with it being ski season and Easter weekend, but that did not happen.

After a week of skiing in Colorado we decided to check out of our motel early and head to the Best Western as we had an early morning flight and didn't want to have to get up early or encounter bad roads on the way to the airport. We made the right decision. The Best Western is about 15 minutes from the airport and walking distance to many restaurants. We had a rental car, so there was easy access to gas stations. Our room was clean, comfortable and on the main floor. I used the fitness center which was adequate. The next morning before heading the the airport enjoyed a lovely breakfast that was included in our reservation. Great Place to stay prior to flying out or staying for the week if you enjoy driving to the slopes. Thanks for making this a great destination.

Workers constantly mopping and dusting lobby. Attention to detail. 8) Comfort- Nice beds and pillows and cozy lobby area with fireplace and inviting sofa and chairs. 7) Amenities- Huge indoor pool, hot tub, steam and dry saunas, fitness center. Our oasis after skiing! 6) Vibe- fun mix of skiers, construction workers, airline crews, families, internationals. Met so many nice folks! 5) Atmosphere- Laid-back. Feel like you are in your own home. 4) Sweet Touches- Good tea and coffee 24/7 and cc cookies and cider and cocoa in the evening. 3) Breakfast- The most delicious array of quality items you can imagine. My go-to pre-ski meal: oatmeal from the pot with brown sugar, cranberries, chocolate chips, granola, raisins and blueberries and a side of fresh sliced fruit. 2) Staff- Caring and helpful. They go out of their way to make you feel special. 1) GM- Amy Yandle is the best! What a staff of committed, reliable folks she has assembled. Her work ethic is amazing !

Upgraded to a very nice suite upon arrival! Cookies waiting! Nice view of mountains from our suite! Pleasant young lady greeted us. Wonderful place with soft comfortable beds. Complete with refrigerator and microwave.

It was amazing, in the beginning I had some doubt mainly because was my honeymoon trip, but my wife and I had an amazing stay in Best Western Plus Eagle Lodge. The cost is fair and the location is very good near the main city and ski areas.

Vail Pass was closed and we were scrambling for a place to stay after being turned back from driving over the pass. I made a rez on my phone and it turned out that I made the rez for the wrong night. When we arrived at the Best Western Brandis was fantastic in recognizing my mistake and she wrangled us a room for the night. High marks, thank you Brandis and Best Western.

Best Western @ Eagle took great care of a lot of stranded travelers. I am a nurse servicing this valley for Home Care and Hospice and if I need to stay in the area again I will plan to stay at this hotel. Great to have good things to say about these people!!

We travel with our husky and either have to pay a lot for a decent room or get a cheaper room that leaves a little to be desired. This hotel was average priced and very clean, including the carpet. We had reserved a standard room and were upgraded to a larger room with a couch and wet bar, this was nice since we had a lot of luggage and gear (extended vacation). There are sidewalks going east from the hotel and a bike trail several blocks down the street for walking/running the dog. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and included eggs and either bacon or sausage. We have started to look for Best Western hotels when we travel, I haven't had any complaints with any of them in the past year. They appear to be a little nicer and cleaner than some of the other mid priced chains.

We stayed at the Best Western last week when skiing Vail. We wanted the convenience of being in a smaller and more economical area, so we didn't know what to expect. From the moment we walked through the door with the amazingly friendly staff, we were wowed at the service and accommodations. We booked the largest suite we could get as we had two sisters and my teen son and wanted space and privacy. It could not have worked out better as we had the loft upstairs with two beds and a bathroom and he had a king and his own bathroom. The room was clean, well furnished and had perfect temperature controls (I like a good AC year round!). The hot free breakfast was very good and offered variety unlike most free breakfasts in hotels. The cookies and hot chocolate were wonderful for the afternoon treats. The hotel also has a menu of leading restaurants in the area which was great to be able to choose where to eat. The indoor pool and sauna were very nice and my ONLY complaint, is that the steam room did not smell pleasant. The location was perfect for grocery shopping and getting quickly onto I-70 toward the ski resorts. I would most definitely stay in this hotel again and congratulate the staff on helping to make our first family vacation since my parents passed 2 years ago a much needed and amazing time together!

I am a motor coach driver and stayed 3 nights. The Glenwood Springs canyon was closed due to rock slides. The entire staff was great. I highly recommend this location. I stay in many different places and this one is a list topper.

In Eagle Colorado After checking some of the other places to stay. We found the best Western comfortable from the moment we walked into the long. Very happy with our room the amenities & staff. Breakfast could not have been better, front seat staff were always smiling and very helpful. In very glad we chose best Western and will defiantly stay there again.

The location is right off the I-70 after a roundabout. The establishment seems relatively new. They have 24 hours cookies and coffee, which is a nice touch to everything else they offer. The rooms are big and comfortable with nice skin care amenities and even makeup removing clothes! We came during the Winterstorm Kayla, so we didn't want to drive to get food. They have a Chinese and a Mexican sit down restaurants within walking distance to the hotel. Expert burger and a liquor store were also within walking distance to the hotel. It was a good walking distance even when it was blowing snow out. The hotel offers sauna, steam room and pool. Which is great for post-skiing. Breakfast was so good, with nice bacon, eggs, oatmeal, greek yogurt and fruits. I would definitely stay here again!

Friendly staff. Breakfast is ok but watch out for fruit which may not be served fresh. If room is hot, turn the AC on even if it is winter. Room temperature control is unusual. The dry sauna is not hot at all, but pool is big. Hot tub is fine. It has towels but they may run out of it quickly.

This is one of the best of BEST WESTERN Hotel. Newly renovated. Clean and comfortable bed. Our third time staying there, and we make sure we stop there on our way driving home. Very clean and the breakfast was excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Was really pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and friendliness of the place. We travel with our two fur children. Labradors! So finding a dog friendly place that doesn't break the bank is a rare find. The rooms have microwaves and are very clean. The only complaint I might have is the beds are a bit hard. But that's a personal choice. Would highly recommend for the location, price and pet friendly!

I travel for work consistently, and this is one of the nicest Best Westerns I have stayed at. I have stayed here twice now, and they are the ONLY Best Western to recognize and mention my Diamond Rewards status and what they did for me as a result. (Sometimes I wonder if other BW's even look at that) Highlights: - The breakfast bar is well-stocked, clean, and the food is excellent. - The bed is one of the more comfortable beds of any hotel I've stayed at. - The size and amenities of the room are enjoyable. - The staff has always been professional, courteous and helpful. - The gift bag they offer at check-in is unique to this BW has helpful items that I have used. - They complimentary cookie/hot chocolate bar in the lobby is inviting and a nice perk. - The express checkout process has always gone perfectly. What more can I say? Excellent experience all-around... Thank you!

Comfort and space at reasonable prices-- the two-story suites are a great value for families. The steam room, sauna, hottub, pool, and fitness room are great. The front desk, janitorial, and breakfast staff are all outstanding.

Internet and desk area was great. Great location to Judicial Complex and walking distance to restaurants. Check in is easy and breakfast has everything you would want. There is an exercise facility on premises. Room over the parking area is louder than ones facing freeway. My last stay had some loud neighbors-in and out of their rooms constantly and loud in the hallways. It would be nice if the doors didn't slam so loudly. q

If you are fortunate enough to stay at this property than you have reached the pinnacle of comfort, hospitality and fun. We stayed here for a week and this cozy retreat never missed a beat. Like a beautiful symphony, the staff is conducted harmoniously by the skilled hand of GM Amy. You will be delighted as we were by the endless choices at breakfast. Chocolate waffles no problem. Oatmeal with brown sugar, granola and raisins. It's there! Greek yogurt with blueberries, yep. Apples bananas oranges, plus fruit salad and pastries, pancakes, sausage or bacon eggs biscuits and gravy. And Bagels!!! This breakfast is what other BW breakfasts want to be when they grow up. If that isn't enough the following 4 items will blow your socks off especially if you packed the kiddos. Indoor pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna. Yes all four in one property! And they even have outdoor grilling space that we used and horseshoes that we didn't only because the pit was snowed over. Oh by the way they also provide nice spacious rooms with cozy beds that we enjoyed immensely!!! And the fresh-baked cookies and hot chocolate and cider at night put them in rarified air!!!

I travel about 200+ night a year for business. Many places I travel to do not have Best Western, but during my recent personal trip with a large group of friends through various National Parks in the southwest US, we chose to stay at a number of Best Western properties in AZ, UT and CO. Our choice of the Eagle BW was purely an accident, mostly based on planned trip timing and distance. Eagle, we discovered is a happening summer bike-trail town, but we were visiting on December 31st. 1. Above expectation room quality for the price 2. Above expectation environment for the price 3. Very Clean hotel 4. Great facilities for families and large groups, including banquet/conference rooms, steam room, dry sauna, jacuzzi, heated pool and exercise room 5. Standard BW hot breakfast 6. This is what amazed us the most - this was by far the best customer care and service I've ever seen. I spend upwards of 200 nights on the road for business, often at Hilton properties and am a regular at a number of hotels, however, the care provided to us at this hotel, by the hotel staff, led by the GM Amy Yandle is absolutely the best you can find. I highly recommend people to enjoy a stay here.

My family and I stay at this best western each year on our skiing trip. The rooms are exceptionally clean and are priced very economically. The staff is very accommodating as well. The continental breakfast is also very good and has a large variety. In addition, when we have been there, the front desk even had fresh cookies and hot chocolate! My family and I will definitely be coming back.

We stayed at the BW in Eagle, Co for 3 nights while skiing at Vail and Beaver Creek. We had a room with two queen beds and one sofa sleeper. We could not have been more pleased with our stay. The free breakfast is fantastic! It snowed one night and the next morning the hotel employees were out cleaning all the cars off. It took us about 20 minutes to get to BC and 30 minutes to Vail. The price was very reasonable and made taking this trip possible. We will definitely stay here for future visits!

We always make an effort to stop here because we can depend on the pool working and being the right temperature for exercise but also for comfort. And there is the hot tub of course, And a great fitness room ---AND wonder of wonders, they actually open them EARLY!! We've never figured out why some hotels open their pool, etc at 10 am. WHAT? Are they trying to make sure they open it after all of the guests are gone? How DUMB! The only improvement would be to keep the pool open tll midnight, or, as one of the other ones we stayed at did, just leave it open 24/7!!!! The breakfast was pretty well-rounded, even had whole wheat toast, if I recall correctly!!! GOOD FOR YOUR DIGESTION!! Thank you! Ahlborns from Oklahoma

The sheets in their rooms are phenomenal. Bed was very comfy. This property has done a good job of putting the Plus in BW Plus. My BW rewards status was recognized, which I appreciated. The young lady working the front desk even offered to show me my room choices. That's something I've always wanted but was too shy to ask. Kathryn made me feel like a guest here rather than a customer. Hotel is pet friendly for the usual fee. Hot tub closes at 10 so hurry if you get in late. Breakfast spread was above average. A well-kept property. There's a little pizza place within walking distance that has good food as well as sports on the TV. Which could go either way if you're a MN Vikings fan. Definitely recommend staying here. I couldn't believe the coziness of the sheets!

I was in Eagle to attend my grandchildren's hockey games. My 10 year old grandson also celebrated his 10th bday with his team mates at the hotel. BW accommodated this group very well, and very professionally.

This Best Western was great, not that I would expect anything else from Best Western. Clean facility, friendly staff, comfy bed, and great free breakfast in the morning! The rooms were easy to get to, it's just a 2 story building and the free breakfast included eggs, bacon, waffes, pancakes, yogurt, fruit, bagels, juice, and more!

This was our halfway stop on our way to family for the holidays. Very spacious rooms, comfortable beds, pillows for each of our likes. Breakfast was so so. Over cooked bacon. Which is one of my pet peeves. But all in all great place.

Huge room awsome breakfast great staff. Great place.will always stay at the best western eagle. Very helpful and courteous staff. Three beds two floors one room plus microwave and fridge. Loved it. Best place ever to stay bestwestern eagle lodge and suites

We recently held an event in the area and used this hotel as our base hotel. The staff, and most especially manager Amy, could not have been more accomodating and flexible. They were so good to work with. The rooms were spacious and clean and quiet. We required a number of adaptive rooms and we were accomodated and even when a room was assigned but needed to be changed (say, to first floor) it was done pleasantly and professionally. Breakfast was delicious. Our group was quite large (about 80PP total) and Amy made sure the breakfast area was more than stocked; we never ran out of food at breakfast. Any time we return to the Eagle area for our event, we will use this hotel.

My friends and I recently stayed here while were volunteering at the State High School Mountain Biking championships. Our room was super clean, and the beds were very comfortable. I really liked that there were soft and firm pillow options. The breakfast bar had a lot of excellent options including two flavors of "make your own" waffles, fresh fruit, and real scrambled eggs. My only complaint is the loud fan in the room's heat/AC unit. Even on the lowest setting the fan was loud, and sounded a bit like a bolt was loose; which made for a noisy surprise when the heat kicked on in the middle of the night.

This hotel was a wonderful place for our family to stay! We stayed during my son's State High School Mountain Biking Championship Meet and Eagle was completely sold out of rooms. There was an error with our reservation and we arrived to find out we'd been booked for the wrong night. Melissa and the rest of the staff were able to get us into a room and even used the amount we'd been previously charged as "no show" to cover it. I've never had such a caring, helpful person upon check in. THANK YOU!

I was in the Eagle, CO area on business. This is a very clean and safe hotel. My only complaint is that they have the window type AC units and they can be noisy and inefficient. Breakfast was very good and staff is friendly.

This is a beautiful,classy place to stay with the best breakfast bar we had on our trip out west. The price was right and the rooms very comfortable. Glad we stayed here and hope to stop here again some day.

Stayed in a 2 room suite & they were great rooms with lots of space! Beds were comfortable, room was clean, WiFi worked well & had a good breakfast. Pool was closed to dissolve chemicals so the kids were disappointed - was a good sized pool.

Loved the family rooms, we had the children upstairs and we were down stairs, we did not have go to sleep when kids did due to separation. The plan 2 of the room 8 people can sleep 2 double beds upstairs and down stairs a sofa bed and king. I wish all bestwesterns had this design

I needed a room one for one night and booked via Tripadvisor; I saved $ 11 over the direct telephone rate with the hotel. The grounds and lobby were clean, the staff was very helpful and pleasant to deal with, the room was large, clean and nicely furnished. The breakfast was okay, nothing special.

Great hotel, comfortable bed, cool town, we love it there. The hotel personnal are absolutely fabulous! Cinthia made our check in very quick and easy. We will definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Had a great stay here last weekend. Really no complaints at all, except for the idiot teenagers that thought running down the halls stomping their feet the whole way was appropriate. Our room was huge and clean with a super comfy bed.

this is the only hotel I will stay at in Eagle. Get a deluxe room, you won't regret it! Very roomy and comfortable! the staff is the very friendly and helpful, beds comfortable and plenty of breakfast options!

Hotel was very clean, very comfortable, not noisy, and staff were very hospitable. Only issue was parking because hotel had allowed trucks with trailers to park in lot leaving not enough parking for cards. We had to park away from the hotel at a nearby restaurant. We told staff who said they couldn't do anything about it because the parking had been pre-arranged, however, hotel was sold out and no alternative arrangements or instructions were provided for those of us who paid for parking

Pleasantly surprised at the appearance from the outside into the lobby at check-in. Friendly, efficient staff. Room was clean and very comfortable. Great sound insulation. Great bed. Very nice breakfast buffet, hot and cold. Dog Friendly too!
