We were in tow; for a funeral, and were pleasantly surprised at how nice the entire facility was. Some of the reviews we had seen were not great, but our experience was great! The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable . The breakfast was solid, normal hotel breakfast fare, included fresh fruit and different hot options each day we were there, along with what appeared to be local made pastries. The staff was very polite , accommodating and friendly!
Theyvare worried about high school style gossip than actually cleaning the rooms and doing thier job....
This was the second year we stayed at this Best Western. The service was excellent, the breakfasts were good and well presented. The people that work at the desk were friendly, and very helpful. They were quick to respond to questions, and always had a friendly smile. We go to Cushing every year about this same time, and Best Western will be our hotel of choice.
They offer a $50 gift card for two consecutive nights, then don't know how the offer works when you ask for the gift card. The sign is right on the check in desk. They're unaware of how it works so you don't get it. Too much trouble to find out. This on top of the inability to process my points to pay for the two night stay. Deceptive trade practices, coupled with “bait and switch”. It didn't used to be this way at Best Western. Must be new management on board, got to get that quarterly bonus.
Under Remodel, HVAC nor working proper, inadequate room lighting, no daily maid service. Elevator not working last day of stay, A total disappointment for a Best Western Plus! Breakfast was hit and miss, eggs, biscuits, sausage, bacon often cold.
The hotel was great for our trip. We spent the week in Wimberley enjoying wine country. Our plans for the weekend changed and we had to add another night to our stay. This was perfect. Our room had been recently renovated!
Everything was perfect. Staff was extremely friendly, helpful and kind. We had traveled to the area because our adult handicap son was having dental surgery and the accommodations of this hotel made a stressful situation much less stress. Thank you
This place is amazing every time we go there for our little staycays or mini vacations I absolutely love it it is My Little Getaway right here in town I totally enjoy everything about the place. Im glad i found this little piece of paradise.
I was in town for some family business and this place worked out fine. Front desk staff was great on check in, but night staff one night wasn't there. Just disappeared. No one could get help. I have no idea where she went. I waited 15 min and my other family member also staying call the desk. No answer. We check out early with no problem due to change of plans. The breakfast staff is AMAZING and put their heart in to their job.
Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Room and hotel were very clean. Bed and pillows were comfy. I recommend NOT staying in 201,203,301 and 303 due to parking lot noise. Great value. 35 mins max to Stilly and driving thru beautiful countryside.
Not great, but fine. The hotel was clean but the accuracy of my reservation was a problem. Double check before you travel, that everything is correct. They changed my 2 Queen beds to a king and placed us in an ineffective handicap room.
It was a very clean hotel and the only downside was our room was on the street side and traffic noise was loud. Ask for a room on the north side of the hotel to avoid the noise. I liked being on the top floor because I never heard anyone overhead. The bed was comfortable. Their breakfast was good. Pancakes, fried potatoes, link sausage and breakfast bagels were all great. They also had cereal, muffins, bagels, toast, etc.
This Best Western Plus is the best location in Cushing for Comfort, Wonderful breakfast included, Beds and Bedding are excellent for a good night's rest. Absolutely every room amenity was in good working order, right down to ice box cold fridge. Plenty of outlets for charging devices etc. Staff is friendly and helpful to every need you might have!
I am here for a long business trip. Overall has been a great stay staff have been friendly. Very clean house keeping staff are wonderful. Pool is always very clean. Definitely need new washer and dryer. Hot breakfast daily.
The Best Western was diffidently an Oasis. We ate at some of the restaurants in town and were very disappointed with our experience When we arrived at the Best Western from the Moment we walked in, we were very happy and enjoyed having a clean pleasant place to come home to.
The tile was broken in the room, the floor was uneven, the carpet had an iron burn mark. I asked that they not clean the room but provide clean towels. They did not provide clean towels - I had to go downstairs to ask for towels. When I did they gave me pool towels because they ran out of towels They allowed homeless people to place a brick on a side secured door and sleep in the laundry room. The side customer entrance our key card would not work the house keeper said the card reader needs a new battery. The kitchen did not have any dishes, The furniture was dirty.
Have stayed at this hotel several times in the past while in the area for Oklahoma State football games. In the past, this hotel was fine. However, during my most recent stay I was not impressed. Despite assurances that cleaning has been enhanced due to Covid, our room was not cleaned particularly well. There were long hairs in our carpet when we checked in, clearly the room had not been vacuumed well. Additionally, the room had a misty smell. I believe the smell was coming from the air conditioner. I looked at the AC unit and there appeared to be mold on the vents where the air exits the unit. Pretty disgusting and disconcerting. In addition to the issues with cleanliness mentioned above, we had a second room for a family member. She also had an issue with a musty smell. However, she also saw two roaches in her room on the last night of our stay. We reported this issue when we checked out. Pretty gross. In addition to the cleanliness issues, this hotel has a towel shortage. When we checked in we found we had been given one set of towels. I asked for more at the desk and they were able to give me an additional set. I was told they had a shortage of towels because guests were stealing them. on the second day of our stay i asked for another large bath towel and was given a pool towel. I was told that's all they had available. No big deal, the pool towel was fine but this is an odd issue to have. There were a few others issues but you get the idea. This hotel needs to do much, much better.
Everyone was so nice and the hot breakfast was great. Fresh fruit cups were great grab and go for my work field trips that I was doing while there. The staff recommended the restaurant next door for amazing greek food.
Stayed here 2 nights for state HS golf championship at Buffalo Run and they were packed full. Comfortable room and they had good hot water. Would have given them 5 stars but they had a shortage of towels and the bathroom outlets didn't work. Breakfast was OK.
All employees were very nice. Housekeeping always asked if we needed anything. Loved the free cookies and smelled them baking. Breakfast was quick and easy to get, we could also take it to the room and ate while getting ready. We enjoyed our 4 night stay. We'll stay there again when we visit family.
There wasn't any toilet paper in our room and a tv was missing which I wasn't notified about when checking in. Bathroom smelled like something was dead in it. Everything was dirty. Didn't get extra towels like we asked for. Heard loud noises all night long in the hallway. People running and hollering
Very nice hotel that had clean rooms, hot water, clean towels, comfortable beds; all the things you want when you book a hotel. Staff was fast, knew their stuff, and friendly. We had a room facing the highway and it got a little noisy, so ask for a room on the other sider of the hotel. Breakfast was about what we expected and was nothing special. All in all a nice place to stay.
I love the location of this hotel. The restaurant next store is fantastic. Plenty of delivery options nearby as well. Great lot out back of hotel to park my semi and trailer during the stay. Trucker Friendly Town! All the staff at this location are fantastic, friendly, and helpful folks.
My review starts before my stay. Due to unplanned event, I had to increase my stay from 2 days to 4 days. When I called ahead to let them know, they said it would not be a problem, added the other 2 days, but would not give me a discount for staying more days. First , the hotel was located in a prime location for visiting my family in Cushing, our beds were comfortable, and the water pressure was acceptable (but not great). I arrived at the hotel & there's a sign masks are required due to COVID-no problem, I was wearing one. No staff wearing mask. At front desk, I asked the lady(no name badge) if I could check in early (1 instead of 3). She said ok, but seemed aggravated that I interrupted her. We went up to the room. The cleaning staff had their carts blocking the hallway because they were cleaning rooms. I had to move the carts to get to the room. Entered room & used towels under the sink & beds not made. Went back to front desk, I asked if we could get another room or if I needed to just wait until 3:00 to check in. She said she would give us another room and no apology. After several minutes of waiting for her to find a room she finally wrote something down on a notebook and put us in a room on the first floor. She went with us to ensure it was clean. We cleaned up & bathroom sink wasn't draining. We were going out, so I reported the sink to the lady at front desk and she said she would have someone fix it. Returned later that evening, she said she fixed it. We went to the room and sink not fixed and we were only 1 wash cloth. I fixed the sink and went to the front desk to ask for another wash cloth. She proceeded to tell me that she used it to clean after she fixed the sink. If she knew she used it, then why did she not replace it? The 2nd day, breakfast was limited due to COVID but a few hot choices. On return that night, room was not cleaned. I went to the front desk to get some towels and asked why, the staff pointed to small print on a paper at the desk that said I had to put in an order to have the room clean due to COVID. I understood, but why was that not posted in the room or pointed out at arrival? Did I mention no one was wearing masks? I feel my stay was not worth $136/night I was charged. Hotel was not full. At checkout, I mentioned the problems to the man at desk. He said he would let the manager know and maybe they could do something--5 days later and still no word from the manager.
Toilet was dirty, so room obviously wasn't sanitized. Reception (both check-in and check-out) and breakfast area employees did not wear masks. Location is way off highway. There were no black-out curtains. This hotel fell far short of what I have come to expect and have experienced from Best Western.
Very good location, right on Main st, and the main east west highway. Very clean, safe and friendly place. Had a very nice clean room, not over stuffed, just right to get around in. Very nice breakfast, good variety of items.
Most of the time when I stay here the only issue I have is whether or not the room will be cold enough or if there is a lot of people staying and the noise level. This time it was the cleanliness and noise that got me. This wasn't the normal for this hotel in my opinion but the noise level was over what it normally is for being a hotel where a lot of oil field workers stay. Most of them were very loud until 10-11pm. Which is aggravating when you have to be up at 5am for work.
This is the only place that's decent to stay in Cushing Oklahoma period. The motel on the east end of town was good when it opened but has summarily gone downhill over the years. This BW is clean, friendly staff overall, accommodating, and comfortable. It can be a little pricey for the area because it stays fairly booked due to oil industry. Closest others are at least 15 miles away.
There aren't a lot of choices when staying in Cushing, OK, but this is a great stay anyway. I've been here with my family while visiting family and friends, and it's always a great experience! We were surprised to see the pool open during Coronavirus, and the kids were even more surprised and excited they could swim in the indoor pool.
I have a business in Cushing and due to the snow days, I had to spend the night here. Decided to stay at the Best Western Plus as I read some bad reviews at the other hotels. Best choice ever. This is the place to stay. Clean, helpful staff with can do attitude, best breakfast.
In addition to being a well kept, clean hotel, we experienced excellent customer service. Becky went above and beyond in helping us check in and then book another night due to winter weather. We highly recommend this hotel! Thanks!
The hotel is well located easy to find had good friendly help room was very clean the breakfast was really good fresh food that tasted good the room was good and quiet for sleeping hotel has some good places to eat nearby
I've stayed at 2 BW's so far this year and it was consistent in both cities in different states. Spacious check-in lobby area, Nice decor, vending machines, good size room, clean, updated decor, good size bathroom, fitness center, pool, many options for breakfast, friendly desk attendants, & helpful info for the area. The cost of room was pretty decent for all the things BW offers. Location was only 30 mins from the work site I came from and had to go the next day.
I would recommend this hotel if out of town. Receptionist were great as they help out with kindness. Be mindful of the time of year as it does get to freezing temperatures. Check out cafe 33 in Perkins, 20 minutes away.
Great experience....nice staff, great rooms, and a well done breakfast. The counter staff are awsome. Nice lot out back (north of hotel) to park oversize vehicles. Good food nearby as well. Food next door and a convenience store across the street.
Attended a conference in Cushing, OK... My stay at the Hotel was excellent. The establishment is kept very clean, the staff is very pleasant, helpful and courteous. The breakfast was well plentiful, tasty and very clean. If you are in the area for meeting or just for a get away. Highly recommend you check this hotel out.
We had a good time. I went to Cushing to try and locate my son whom I haven't seen in over 10 years. At least he knows I came all the way from California to look for and find him. I love him so very much.
This was the best hotel I've stayed at in a long time. We were there for a funeral and had rented 5 rooms. The staff was warm, friendly, compassionate, and made sure that we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. They were very accomodating with our family and treated us with respect and kindness. The hotel is very clean, and beds are very comfortable. Can't say enough good about this property. If you're in town, stay there!
The lady who checked us in was a character. Friendly and funny. Being raised by a pack of wild Okies I know mean. And funny. A great place to spend the night. Thanks to everyone at the facility for a great stay.
When we go to anything at Oklahoma State we always try to stay here if we can't stay in town. The hotel is always clean and the staff is helpful. There is a decent restaurant next door that has great burgers etc so it's very convenient for such a small town. I wish the beds were a little softer but other than that it's great.
Very good hotel location staff was very friendly. Very clean rooms and good breakfast. I would recommend anyone in the area to stay at this hotel fairly new and very well maintained. I would stay again
Teresa at the front desk was wonderful. The room was very clean and we'll decorated. The bed was great, very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Breakfast was the usual carbohydrate overload. Not much protein offered.
Friendly staff, clean rooms, common areas and pool.breakfast was good. Would recommend anyone to stay here. Would be a good place to stay if you needed some where to stay for a few nights with a full kitchen.
We made a last minute reservation at this hotel while enroute to our next destination in OK. It was really to break up a long car ride and a much needed night's rest. They had our room ready upon arriving with quick check-in. The room was super comfortable, good lighting, linens and comfy bed. Also great shower. After a light breakfast the next morning, we were on our way. Everyone we dealt with were friendly and service-oriented. Thumbs up for this hotel!
The guy was very helpful and I enjoy my stay there Thanks And I will always come back there very comfortable the service is nice and quiet rooms I enjoy the most and so hope to see you guys soon and again thank you very much for your service
Clean, friendly, modern. A great place to stay at a great value with a great staff to help you. Close to restaurants and the liquor store, with a laundry mat in the hotel if your there for an extended stay.
Looks like it was newly updated. Hotel is in very good condition. Rooms were very clean. If coming through this area definitely stay here. Worth the price. I will definitely stay here the next time I am in town.
Great place to stay. Was in town for a family reunion. Staff was very friendly and helpful. All the family stayed and it wad great. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Would highly recommend this place.
Probably the best experience I have ever had at a hotel. The staff was amazing, they were all so kind and friendly. The hotel itself was immaculate and very comfortable. For sure a 5 Star rating from me.
Very good breakfast and very pleasant staff. Housekeeping was professional and efficient. However, the Wifi reception was very poor on the third floor. Request a room away from the street, The traffic noise could be a bit much.
The hotel is modern and clean. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are large. The easy chair in our room had a broken arm, but otherwise everything was in good repair. The breakfast was good, although the room was a bit crowded.
A quick trip to Cushing for a funeral lead to an unexpected surprise. The BW appeared to be a newer facility. Well lit and fresh appearance. The pool was clean and the breakfast was adequate for what I would expect for a smaller town. The rooms were comfortable and the air conditioner worked well (important for OK summers). Would not be afraid to recommend this BW Motel to anyone. We ask for a late checkout so the kids could stay while we went to the funeral and they accommodated us. Thanks for your understanding. The staff was very friendly and it was appreciated.
The hotel was very nice-a real asset to Cushing. The rooms were very spacious and clean. There was a hot breakfast and the internet was free. Great value.I would certainly recommend this hotel to others and would stay there again.
Had to travel to Cushing for a funeral. We don't normally stay in Best Westerns but were told this was the best option in the area. After staying there we agree. Appears to be a fairly new property (or it is extremely well maintained). Staff were very friendly. We were on the top (3rd) floor and our room was excellent. Everything was cleaned and worked well. The room had a fridge, microwave and a hair dryer. Neither my wife nor I slept particularly well but that could have been us as much as anything since the bed seemed to be quite comfortable. The free wi-fi was ok. It worked but seemed to be pretty slow. Breakfast was decent. The cold choices (yogurt, cereal, bagels, bread, pastries) were good. The hot choices (hockey puck biscuits, gravy, scrambled egg looking stuff, sausage, bacon) were marginal. Total for the night, with all the taxes, was $112.10. If we had reason to come back, we would definitely stay there again.
This is my Go-To Hotel for Staying in Cushing! Friendly Staff ready to give you a home away from home. I appreciate the Easy Convenience of Reserving a Room from home and knowing that a warm inviting place is waiting just for us... Being tired after a long drive, it's so nice to be able to Check In quickly, unload, and kick your feet up or jump in the pool to relax before bedtime. After a night of good long rest...there's breakfast waiting just down the hall :)
Clean rooms, lobby, etc. Staff is friendly and helpful. Beds are firm but not too hard. Good for anyone who's had back surgery. Breakfast is good, typical continental offerings. Gym looked well equipped and pool area was clean. I did not try out either one. We've been staying here at least once a year since they opened. Always pleased.
I was very pleased with the overall experience. Nice folks, good bed and breakfast. The breakfast staff was particularly helpful and I was impressed with the quality of items offered and the variety of items available.
We went to Oklahoma for a family funeral (and there were a LOT of us), the hotel was incredible. Our room was a good size, we had a fridge, microwave and a coffee maker. The hotel was very clean and decorated nicely. The shower was great, never ran out of hot water. There was a complimentary breakfast as well. The staff was wonderful!
I really enjoyed my stay. The food was good. The pool was just the right temperature. i could not have asked for a better stay. Everything went wonderfully! Thanks for the great stay! I can't wait for my next visit.
The overall appearance of the Hotel was great. Loved the room decor. Every thing worked well. The shower was Super. Breakfast had many selections to choose from. The room was Quiet. Nice place to sleep.
We went to Oklahoma for a wedding and stayed in a suite at this Best Western since the wedding was in the next town. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast choices were plentiful and it was hot! Overall, a good experience.
I wondered just what we would get for a motel in a small town. I need not have worried. This was a fine motel, spacious, and accommodating (I have a limited diet, and they were prepared to meet it). Enjoy your stop there.
I liked the modern style room decor and the fact that this motel has decent room rates for being located just east of Oklahoma CIty (where everything is over priced"). The rooms were large, comfortable and clean. There is a wonderful mexican restaurant just up the street about 3 blocks.
Very clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. The staff goes out off there way to make sure everything is right. Plenty of choices for breakfast. If ever back in the area I will definitely stay here....
Teresa and the cleaning staff are all friendly caring people they go out of their way to make us comfortable every time we stay there. The only thing that I have ever said negative is that the bacon is too thin but the rest of the breakfast more than makes up for that
I found this hotel to be of best quality. I would love to stay there again. Maybe next time in the room with the jacuzzi. It was close to restaurants and not that far from major restaurants. Thanks for the great stay.
Great hotel near Stillwater, OK and a nice option to the doubled rates in Stillwater for OSU events. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable, clean. The breakfast has nice options. Easy drive between hotel and campus.
Bed was very comfortable. Room was clean, staff friendly and breakfast was okay. .Room was nice and quiet would stay again if in area was down for an OSU Football Game..Cushing is a small town but this was a Great Best Western Motel with pool, workout room, and free Wi-Fi
This hotel was as advertised. All aspects of room were above reproach. As Cushing is a small town this is the top option available. Room was large and comfortable. Wi-Fi did not have any slow downs or problem.
Newer hotel. Beds very comfortable. Quiet. A list of cable channels in the room would be appreciated. Room appeared clean, but more attention to dust, coffee cup rings and detail will make it even better.
Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and beds were comfortable!! Our daughter was playing in a softball tournament a few towns over and after driving past some not so safe hotels we were beyond happy to find this Best Western We will definitely be back next year with reservations!!
We enjoyed our stay here at the Best Western the room was large and spacious , it was also clean . The best part may have been it was next-door to Naifeh's deli. We have stayed here before and we will stay again . It is conveniently located .
Room was very large and plenty of room to move around. Pleased that the rooms were also very clean and I never heard any noise all night long. Probably the best nights sleep I have gotten in a while. I am pretty picky about where I stay and this place is ok in my book.
This motel exceeded what I expected to find in this small town. While my experience with BW overall has been positive, I was still pleasantly surprised at this property. I found it much nicer and well appointed than most small town motels, regardless of price. The staff members I encountered were great and the room seemed newly remodeled and spotless.
Overall my stay was OK. The bed was comfortable, the Internet was very slow. Also there was no way on knowing what programming was on TV. there was a channel guide in the room, but no way of knowing what was on what channel.
Staying in Cushing Ok for training. Best Western Plus was the second choice, but after checking out other hotels in the area. I am very glad we stayed at the Best Western plus in Cushing. Great place and staff.
I was one of many staying there during our high school reunions. The staff was unusually friendly and accommodating, and they went out of their way to help. It's just like you'd expect of Oklahoma people.
Friendly, helpful staff Clean, spacious suites with complete kitchens (great for those on restricted diets) Full breakfast with lots of food choices Comfy beds Heated pool and weight room great for unwinding
Cushing is a great town with absolutely the best hotel employee I have ever encountered. Her name is Theresa. She greeted us so professionally and politely. She made recommendations for a comfortable stay. She was so helpful, polite and sweet. Thank You. Hotel is new, clean and has everything we needed. Pool was small for the kids but breakfast was good. If your passing thru Cushing America to see where the nations gasoline prices are set, stay at the Best Western, you won't be disappointed.
Stayed here since it was one of the few hotels with rooms available due to a nearby college graduation. It was a very nice hotel with extremely friendly employees. While the hotel was completely full, there was plenty of food at breakfast and one did not feel rushed to check-out.
Very nice hotel. Friendly staff. Easy to get in and out of. Nice breakfast selection. Nearby local places to eat. Indoor pool looked nice, did not have a chance to use it. Rooms were large and comfortable.
This room was great. Had a kitchen, sofa bed, and hot tub room. The hot tub room also had a tv and a sofa in it, which I am still trying to figure out why there was a sofa in there. LOL The next time I go back I will more than be happy to stay there again.
Our family gathered for a family member funeral in Cushing, OK and we all stayed at the Best Western Plus. The employees and staff were extremely considerate and accommodated our needs to perfection. We will always consider this Hotel when in Cushing, OK.
Best place in the small town. Great service and attitudes from all of the staff. My 16 month old daughter fell in love with the cleaning staff over our 15 day stay. I wish breakfast was served until 10:00 am each day, but I understand that this hotel caters mostly to out of town pipe line workers who are up and gone by 07:00 am. Over all this place is clean and well kept. The staff are extremely helpful and always pleasant to deal with. I recommend anyone staying in Cushing stay at the Best Western!
Was a very helpful an polite an happy staff. they took care of my wife & i. We were there for a funeral an the staff made it quite nice. they gave me directions to where i needed to go. they all smilled the breakfast was good. the staff was very helpful when we neded it most
This was a perfect stay for me. Everything was great. The room was just what I needed. Everything was clean, and everything worked. The staff were all very friendly. The breakfast was just what I liked. It was also handy to the Civil War reenactment that I had come for.
Very disappointed in the misleading reviews here that lead to my family's unsatisfying stay at this hotel. When I was planning this trip I was impressed with the good reviews of this hotel. I'm a frequent guest at Holiday Inn Express hotels and the rooms in this Best Western look very similar and about the same price per night ($100 and up). When booking our room I noticed that some rooms had "pillow top mattress" in the description and some didn't. Yet at the bottom of the page it states that ALL rooms come with pillow top mattresses. I didn't need a jet tub or a full size kitchen so I booked the "cheapest" king room (still over $100 a night) with a mini kitchenette and a living room area. Very first thing we noticed was how cold the room was after arriving. The air unit could not maintain a steady temperature. Even after setting the thermostat to 75-76 cool air came out of the unit and then other times it would be hot. It was either freezing in the room or burning up, usually during the day when it was warmer outside. The mattress was NOT a pillow top. It was hard as a board. I woke up so stiff like I had slept on the floor. It hurt to walk the whole next day. The blankets were ridiculous. All you get is a sheet, a thin wool blanket, and another thin blanket that's for looks. No down comforter like at most hotels. I could have dealt with the cold room better if I had at least had a decent blanket. The pillows were disappointing as well. No large king size pillows on this bed. Just 4 very small/short pillows, smaller than a twin size pillow. They're just for looks and aren't practical. The furniture in the room was poor quality. The couch was saggy and hard to get up off of. However the bed was so hard I ended up sleeping on that the next night instead because sadly it was actually more comfortable. The breakfast was not very good and ends earlier than most hotels, even cheap motels. It ends at 9 am and the food was stale like it was days old. The bacon didn't even taste like bacon, it was very strange. Bottom line, this hotel focused a lot on making this Best Western look good and clean but the quality is really lacking. For $100+ a night every room deserves a comfortable bed and bedding. I could have got a better nights rest at a motel 6 for half the price, that's what's the most disappointing. Avoid this place and look into better hotels in Stillwater, it's worth the drive to be comfortable.
Exceptional hotel, quiet, clean, and centrally located. I was only in town on business for 1 night but was very pleased with this hotel. In my opinion there are not any other hotel/motels in Cushing that offer the same quality, or amenities as the Best Western Plus. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through the area, whether for business or leisure.
AC would not stay on. Bed was uncomfortable. Combination of that along with traffic noise made it difficult to sleep. Internet information was never given to us. Breakfast options were very sparse. Taste of items was lacking. Nobody at front desk when we went to checkout. Not the best place to stay in our opinion.
Great hotel. Best part is the staff! Modern and housekeeping is on top of their game! Simple breakfast and good coffee. Very nice for price point. Easy drive from Stillwater. The young lady supporting the breakfast bar was top notch. Trash always picked up and stock was replenished on time even when the crowd hit. She did an awesome an awesome job. Front desk at checking was odd. Someone hanging out in customer side playing on phone. Thought that shouldn't happen. FD person never asked her to step aside while we where checking in. We had to stand at the other end because she was in front of the FD guy? Awkward! Great stay overall!
Hotel is clean and staff is friendly. Breakfast was very good, but price is higher than it should be considering Cushing is not a "hot spot" on the tourist list of places to visit. The lack of any other quality hotels in the city is probably the reason for the high price.
This hotel was sorely needed in Cushing, OK. Wonderfully appointed rooms, courteous and helpful waitstaff and all at reasonable prices! The pool is indoors which is a must with the sweltering OK summer weather. The front seating area is impeccably decorated and always clean. This is the ONLY place in Cushing, OK that we will stay at (until Mr. Patel opens a second location!)
