Clean, comfortable and quiet. Good coffee and breakfast. They make sure your stay is great. She makes sure I always get the room I like . I will not stay anywhere else in Corning. Thank you Best Western Plus.

Dirty sheets, no fitted sheet, beds sink into the middle, and ac didn't work. Staff was good though. Good place to stop for travel but I would probably go across the street to the hotels there for the price.

I will not be staying at this hotel again. They ran out of handsoap ( it was backordered) Why is management not going to the local store and buying some hand soap or a punp of soap ( sanitizing it between patrons) I was horrified, with the rise of the Flu, Covid and RSV viruses a hotel can not manage to find some hand soap

In what otherwise would be a ho-hum, basic hotel, Aysa made it a pleasant place to stay with her friendliness, competency and professionalism. The room is adequate, the bed is comfortable. There is a fridge and microwave. There is an indoor pool and Jacuzzi, and also a small gym.

Clean room, one very low to floor arm chair, and one very tight and poor office type chair, lack of counter or desk space. Decent except seating. Great hot breakfast. Not comfortable for 2 people except bed was fine.

Would definitely stay in Corning again. Close to the highway, clean, close to restaurants, good value, and clean. Our room was extra large for our family of five. The pool and spa area is indoors and very clean.

I am sorry but me and my family had a death in the family and came to a funeral. We were so focused on that we're really emotional. When we checked out we didn't even notice anything in the room we were hardly in there. They decide to charge us for phone buttons we didn't even touch etc staff was so rude when we talked to them about it and explained that we didn't do it. We were even more upset after :( please avoid this place

The phone in your room was left without the label ( label was on the night stand), and buttons were scattered in front of night stand and behind. Great field to walk the dog, close to Safeway and restaurants for snacks and beverages, always feel safe, especially when traveling alone. Would recommend 100%, especially to those who travel with pets.

The room we stayed in had a very bad smell and when I checked out with my 3 small kids, the front desk employee had to double check my room before giving back my deposit because they said it smelled like marijuana. Very disappointed that these accusations were made and a double check had to be done! I will NEVER stay at this hotel again!

We enjoyed our stay at the Corning Best Western Plus hotel. An excellent stopping point between Portland and heading to SoCal. Clean rooms, a good selection of items for breakfast and a friendly staff makes the stay enjoyable. The best part is that this Best Western Plus allows dogs so that we can travel with our 70lb. golden retriever. Thank you Best Western!

The room was dated. Was fine. Just dated. Felt well used. Getting close to worn out. The parking. Didn't feel as secured as in the past. Rooms really feel older. Lots of chips in the furniture. This hotel used to be a upper class place. Now just needs updating

We've stayed here many times in the past 10 years, but this time we felt the place needs refurbishment. The water for the tub/shower was difficult to regulate and the doors and carpets need updating. The bed had a slope that sent me to the edge of it. Don't think we will stay here again.

This place was comfy, clean, quiet and friendly staff. Needed a few nights while visiting family in Los Molinos. This was the perfect place. The value was appropriate. I would come again and use the indoor pool.

Right off the I-5 freeway this best western was a great stay. The hotel and rooms were very clean and in order for such a small hotel i was impressed. The front desk clerk was attentive and polite. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a good nights rest.

This hotel presents very well and is well maintained. The exterior is clean and cared for. The rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet. The hotel is also very close to grocery stores, drug stores and gas stations, Employees are welcoming and friendly and attentive. Pet friendly at a reasonable proce. Breakfast is good. Pool area is very well designed and impressive.

Reception gal was nasty to me about my Service Dog wearing a SERVICE DOG Vest. I had to teach her that he is NOT A PET. She made me shake but she finally retreated to the back room. My dog told me the blanket was very dirty. I was so disturbed by the gal's treatment that I did not even complain.

Breakfast attendant must not have understood this was your service dog and she simply wanted guests to be able to get breakfast without having your service animal hurt. Nice looking and clean, easy access on and off the freeway but not noisy, parking was plentiful, interior doors. great grassy area to walk the dog and they had poop bags and a receptacle away from the building

The room was in better condition than the last BW we stayed at. The only thing was the fan in the bathroom was not working. Staff was very nice, breakfast was ok. Not as much of chooses as other BW. We do ALWAYs wipe down our room 1st thing when we enter. Room was clean, over all building was clean.

A great place to spend a night. Hot breakfast in the morning was very nice, scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles etc.. Easy on/off I-5. The hotel and the room were very clean. Nice indoor swimming pool which we didn't use.

It's a very clean and well maintained hotel. Rooms are super clean and supplied with everything you need. Beds are extremely comfortable. This hotel has an indoor pool, which makes it a plus regarding the weather, and the included breakfast is very good specially if you travel with children.

Small rooms, high prices, vent and lighting issues, hard beds. Not the normal experience for me at Best western. This location is below standard and wont stay here again. $15 per dog per night? In a small room? Not good.

Stains on sheets and duvets. Stained carpets and furniture in room and hallways and lobby. Hair found on one beds sheets and one face towel. Desk lamp light flickered. Furniture & walls had smudges and marks. Would not return to this location unless hotel had a massive update and new cleaning standards. Front desk staff were nice, helpful and polite.

Accidently left my pillow in the room, manager wanted me to jump through hoops to have it sent back. Refused to send it back on their end even after agreeing to authorize charge to CC. Horrible manager!

Wonderful Staff I had a great experience they were very caring and understanding of My needs staff is very friendly and consider it yesterday rooms were very clean the breakfast is really good nice and hot coffee was great

The rooms are very dated and in need of repair. The breakfast was barely minimal. Powdered eggs, yuck. Sign on the wall heading into the breakfast “buffet” stated masks must be worn. Nobody was wearing a mask. All of 4 tables closely located next to your neighbor.

This place is awesome. I drive from WA to southern CA every year and I always stop here to sleep. Rooms are clean and smell clean too. Beds are comfy. I feel safe here. Staff is very friendly and professional .

The pillows were lumpy and hard. The mattress was flat yet hard, like a deflated air matrress. Decor was extremely tired. Cleanliness wasn't that great, stains in places. There was no anti slip mat in the shower, surprised I survived that. Lighting was atrocious, old bright white CFL bulbs that took a while to warm up. There was pretty much nothing available for breakfast, so I had just scrambled eggs, which were so scrambled it was the size of rice and dry. There was no tea. And there was no one around in the morning to talk to about these concerns. Paid for a three star hotel, got a substandard two-star at best. The exterior was deceptively nice, as was the lobby--they do NOT reflect the lack of quality in the rooms. The only upside--the concierge when we checked in at midnight was extremely friendly and informative.

Room was clean, hot tub was hot an indoor pool area was lovely. Breakfast included scrambled eggs and sausage- nice surprise! Great customer service! Highly recommend for a clean and comfortable spot to sleep for the night.

The room was average and did not feel "Plus". We like Best Western Plus and always choose this brand. Upon arrival we noticed the "Mask are required everywhere". It seems this only applies to the desk staff according to the staff. Everywhere else the guest did not wear mask. When we reported this to the staff the reply was "Mainly we are talking about the front lobby, we cannot monitor the halls and this is a small town". Whaaaaat? Considering the number of cases in the US...it is not about small town vs big city.

The hotel was nice enough and good breakfast but we were overcharged in the am compared to what we were told the night we checked in. When I complained I was told I'd get an email with the correction but never did. We will be calling today to follow-up.

This is an average, moderately pricey hotel. “Hot” breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, and sausage links with bagels, toast and cereal available. There is also a self-serve waffle maker. I was surprised to see the breakfast area being self-serve without cleaning touched surfaces regularly during the current Covid pandemic. It was quite disturbing to arrive at midnight after a 6 hour drive to find the pull out sofa had pet hair and dog food kibble in it, which obviously shows the bed/bedding hadn't been checked or cleaned. This was addressed with the front desk staff when it was found, but nothing more was done about it. I was told the manager would speak with me the next day, but this did not occur. I even asked about it and still nothing occurred. One of the king beds in the room was not supported by a bed frame properly and sagged in the middle and touched the floor. I would think for the price the rooms would be more modernized and up to date. The room I was assigned did not have enough accessible electrical outlets and I even used an outlet that was located on the ceiling and let my watch dangle while it charged. Hotel location was easy to find and right off the highway.

We booked the room in advance, and secure with credit card. The room we check in; 1./ Smoke alarm keep beeping. Notified front desk, he came up in the room tried but didn't know what to do, so he called someone apparently, then said probably just removed it, if that's okay. So he pulled it out. 2./ Office desk lamp flicked non-stop, husband needed to be in a zoom meeting with flicking light, like in a ghost room. 3./ While checking out, person who checked us out just left room key card on counter, about to walk away, I spotted and asked her, she finally put it away.

Room was clean, Great breakfast considering covid 19 limitations. The location is okay for Kettleman, but the eating places around there are pretty limited. Would recommend do not eat at Bravo Farms Place was a rip off..

Very friendly front staff, had to wait a little while to check in there were three of us all checking in at the same time with only one front staff member. However she handled the stress of it very well and was super friendly! The hotel smelt clean. The only bad this is the pool was not clean. Other than that it was a nice stay

Experienced a travel emergency in Corning and had to book last minute at this hotel. It was fast and easy getting a room last minute and the indoor pool was an extra treat. The room was clean and quiet and right next to a Starbucks and several dining options all walkable. The manager, upon hearing of my travel issues, offered the number of a shuttle service which is HUGE in a town too small for lyft, uber or taxis. I was literally ready to hitch a ride with a trucker and take my chances! This Best Western and their amazing staff was literally a life-saver.

We have stayed here before and liked the experience. Not this time. The rates had escalated to the point of being very overpriced. Evening desk staff was efficient and helpful. The morning staff was high on pizzaz, but very low on assistance. The place has begun looking rundown. The breakfast was limited and we took ours to our room due to the very loud patron who had to share his inane phone call to his son with anyone within a three block area. Best part about staying here was being able to dine at the Peruvian restaurant—not at all associated with this hotel. Would not stay here again.

We chose this hotel for the more modern/newer look (from the pictures we saw online) and the price. Our appointment was the following day in Chico but found this to be a nicer option for the price. We were pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of the beds. It was in walking distance to coffee, food, etc. which made it nice after driving from Reno.

Another nice stay in the Best Western in Corning. This is a pleasant clean place with a pool that is pet friendly and conveniently next to a Tesla Supercharger, a big plus for me. The rooms are nice sized, beds are comfortable, and now a hot breakfast has returned as Covid restrictions are easing. I have stayed in this place several times now as it is a convenient stop for me going back and forth between Southern California and Oregon, and my experience there has been consistent. There are lots of construction type workers who stay overnight, but they are quiet, and only make parking a bit crowded. I will stay here again when I next pass through.

Check-in was friendly and speedy. The in-room phone did not work. The decor was dated and tired looking. Needs updating! While I didn't use the gym or pool, both looked inviting. They do offer a complimentary breakfast in their dining room but I passed. No idea what they offer there.

I regularly drive from Seattle to Oakland CA, and on my way south I've had the worst time finding clean, safe places to stay. Until now! I pulled off the freeway to take a little break, and saw the lights across the highway. I realized how tired I was, and got a room lickety split. The staff was kind and helpful, understanding of how tired I was. The room was super clean and well appointed. I'll definitely stay here again.

For the past 17 years, we drive from our home in North Los Angeles to our second home on Camano Island, WA. We have probably been in every "better than budget" hotel on the Interstate 5 Freeway between Red Bluff, CA and Kelso, WA. This year we decided to lengthen our southbound trip and landed in Corning. Thank God! The Best Western was not only the cleanest and friendliest but was on par with most of the higher end hotels we have stayed in across this country. Thank you for your hospitality, great rates and comfortable stay. Although, only being a well needed overnight stay and hot shower! Bed was very comfortable and the facilities were impeccable. Thank you!

Beautiful indoor pool, lots of parking, nice rooms. We missed breakfast because it started too late. bummer! We would definitely stay there again. Short drive to everything in town. Starbucks right next door.

Traveling to care for my mom during Covid-19 has been a hit and miss experience finding rest and amenities on the he road. Sacrifices have been made and so I was pleased to find this oasis of normality in Corning, 110 miles from Sacramento.

This is the third time staying at this property. Each stay was issue free. The staff is friendly, the rooms are a nice size and CLEAN. Location is perfect. This trip we brought our dog and they accommodated us. Full services were not available due to Covid. That being said, the staff was visible throughout the hotel asking if we needed anything such as additional towels etc. We definitely would recommend this hotel and we will be staying there again in the future.

This was our first stay in a regular motel since the covid crisis began. We were not sure what to expect but it was fine. Breakfast was not like normal but it provided sustenance so that we didn't need to go somewhere else for breakfast.. Other than breakfast, it was a Best Western quality experience with a good place to stay. Our only complaint was that the towels were not what we would normally expect. We never felt that things weren't clean or safe which is something to think about in the days of covid.

When My wife and I arrivied in Corning we went right to the hotel and was able to get our room. This was the third time I have strayed there. The young lady in the front desk was helpful and accommodating. She made us feel at home.

Like the location, internet was fickle, close to everything, and friendly staff/towns people. I was able to park in a secure location, where my room window had great view of my parked vehicle; important because helped keep everything organized.

I have stayed at this location twice in 2020 and had excellent experiences both times. The front desk clerks were friendly, professional and helpful both times and the room was up my standards. I would say BW Plus often offers higher quality rooms and amenities versus BW, but you'd need to check on each individual property. I felt safe in this location and was able to easily walk to the Olive Pit!

The stay itself was fine. The problem wasn't until I left the hotel. At check in I paid cash where the front desk rep had assured me no deposit was needed if we kept the debit card I used to reserve the room on file for incidentals. Fast forward to check out, I drop off my keys and leave the town. A couple of days later, I see I had been double charged. Once when I paid cash, and again the day I checked out. I had to contact the hotel multiple times just to have this refunded. The first time, the young lady said she processed the refund, which when I called a few days later found out this was not the case. So they had to put in the request again. After the amount was still not showing in my account I contacted them again obviously upset, when the guy at the front desk caught an attitude. I wouldn't of been upset if it was taken care of the first time like I asked. If paying with cash is an issue that will cause customers to be double charged, maybe don't offer that as a payment method. Overall this ruined the experience for me and I will not be returning.

I choose this hotel becasue it had an EV / Tesla charger on site. i was driving from LA to seattle and it was a good spot to stop. Touchless check in, rooms had fluff removed and it was a nice room. Bed was a little hard for me but it was a nice room.

We stopped for the night after a long day of driving during our family move from Oregon to Arizona. The hotel staff was friendly and professional and we were assigned a room that allowed us with a view to keep an eye on our moving trucks parked outside overnight. We had a room on an upper floor with two king beds and a pull out couch which was plenty of room for our family of four. Hotel was quiet and there was food and drink available within a short walking distance from the hotel. My husband picked up some delicious tacos from a food truck close by, highly recommend! The next morning, the hotel offered a selection of takeaway breakfast items for guests including yogurt, bagels with either peanut butter or Nutella, and pre-bagged breakfast that had a bottle of water, cinnamon roll and banana. Bacon was also available but would be brought out to you if you requested it. I believe there was coffee available, too. Staff gave us extra bottled water for our departure. Very pleased with the staff and property and would definitely recommend this hotel to any one coming through the area!

Our family wanted to travel cross country to California, we were very nervous about Covid and chose our hotels based on reviews from July specifically. So thankful Beat Western Corning Ca was spot on with their reviews. I cannot say enough good things. They were very kind and our room was VERY clean. Breakfast in a bag in the morning was key as other hotels simply stopped breakfast all together. Thanks to the staff who were just comforting after our 2300 mile drive from Illinois. 100% excellent overall.

IAM still so in shook the way this motel treats there guest what happened to our customers our always right and when do staff argue or treat them as if did something wrong IAM so glad I almost didn't work this job due having surgery and taking time off work besides that with staff my husband and I barely got any sleep first two nights it'll be totally of 4 nights tonight we thought yes it's quiet then dude upstairs starts yelling at someone off on I called front desk idk IAM going make it my mission to go up chain of command with my boss and make sure either staffs changes or better not say much more already said enough oh we paid $120 and $140 this what we got could of went next door way less $70 better treatment

I stayed at this Best Western on June 11,2020, that night i was bitten by fleas. The issue was reported to the front desk clerk next day, she said would check the room out and someone would call me later that day. I told her that they should call me tomorrow since I would be driving all day. They never called me back the next day so I called the corporate office the following Monday I told them what happened, they said they would file a report and I would hear from them in four days, they did not call me back.. I called corporate office again after the four days and told them again what happened, the representative put me on hold, called the Best Western in Corning, CA , replied back to me that they wanted pictures of the fleas bites, I could not supply them picture because my bites have since healed. It is very sad that this is how a they treat a good customer., I have stayed at this location at least three times in the past with a great experience, i will never stay there again.

I stopped at this Best Western on my way home from a quick turn around business trip down to California. The property is nice condition, the rooms are clean and the staff is helpful and courteous. I would stay at this property again.

I have been staying at this facility for many years. Numerous times in the last year while settling mother's estate affairs. Mostly it's been satisfactory and enjoyable, clean and a pretty good "motel" breakfast. This time, because of covid 19, we didn't get a hot breakfast, just a green banana, a half frozen Danish to microwave and a water. What really upset me ... I sent my teen grandson to get some ice and the ice seemed to be stuck in the hopper and wouldn't drop. He gave it a tap to see if it would drop, and the door panel on the machine fell of on him. The management accused us of deliberately vandalizing and damaging their ice machine and made excessive unauthorized charges to my credit card. Yolanda showed me a video of the boys that only showed their feet and lower bodies trying to get some ice and hold up the panel...he didn't even "tap" it hard. We took pictures of a quite old ice machine with missing screws and washers holding the panel on. When I tried to investigate and show the boys father the video, we were disrespected, talked down to and insulted in Spanish by Yolandas management partner. Unfortunately, I will never stay at this hotel again until Yolanda is terminated, the excessive $300 "incident fee" is refunded and we get an apology. Our family has spent a few thousand dollars there since mother passed away...very unfortunate.

I am sorry to see your stay this time did not go as expected. Please understand we value and appreciate everyone's business and will not let vandalisms happen at our property. We have cameras in our hotel to ensure that all od our guests stay comfortable and safe. Since we appreciate your business very much before showing the footage where it shows two boys from this party breaking apart the ice machine I suggested the owner not to file a police report as a courtesy for your business. Due to the way the father of the boys handled the situation and came to the desk to attack personal we decided to file a report of vandalism. As for the $300 in charges please know it was $100 for damages to the ice machine. As said before we greatly appreciate your business but we ask that you give us the same respect that we give our guests. We sure hope you understand there are incidental charges whenever there is damages and hope you are able to stay with us once again in the future.

I stayed here 4-11-20 and felt very DISRESPECTED...First of all I am a PLATINUM member and was never recognized as such...The lady asked me do I have a copy of my free stay as if she didn't believe what was in the computer right before her eyes....I have NEVER been asked for a copy of a free stay when I paid with my points EVER...Than they charge $100 for a deposit which is unheard of...I stay at way better brands and the most I'm EVER hit with is $50...How in the heck can your deposit be more than your room rate...That deposit takes 3-5 days to get back in your account as well...The only good thing this hotel offered was a nice room so I can respect that...But that customer service almost made me act out of my character...

This hotel is in a great location. Everything you need is walking distance. The staff is amazingly friendly. Very clean hotel inside and out. This place has an amazing indoor pool with Jacuzzi. Plenty of parking space

This was our first stop on our trip to California and the hotel was very nice with friendly staff. We accepted the handicapped room as it was the last room that had a king bed. The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The compromise is that we ended up with a bathroom with virtually no counter space as the fixtures are designated handicapped accessible including a sink with one tiny shelf. A pleasant surprise included the handheld sprayer in the shower. It was mounted on the wall high enough for my 6'2” frame to use and the spray pattern was excellent. I would search out this brand if I was in the market for a handheld sprayer. The breakfast was good, the normal deluxe breakfast buffet. The Tesla Super Charger is within 500 ft. of this site.

Can't say enough good stuff about this hotel. Staff was great. Hotel clean and updated. Room was great, bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was good, very good selection and plenty of hot items. Pool and hot tub looked nice, didn't get to use them. Small workout room with cardio and a small weight machine. Plenty of parking, not far from freeway - but quiet. Food and shopping close by.

Decent hotel. It is very close to restaurants and in a decent area. The only problem I experienced was at check in. I own a business, and had some business documents shipped to the hotel. I contacted them twice beforehand, including the day of arrival to let them know about the package. They said it had arrived, and it would be there at the front desk. Once I arrived they couldn't locate the package. Eventually they found it,( a hour later) , and I was thankful it wasn't lost permanently. Outside of that , I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It is very clean, several breakfast choices, a pool, a fitness room. Pretty much the whole package. It was reasonably priced, and I enjoyed my stay. Nice hotel overall.

I recently stayed a Friday and Monday night (halfway between Portland & Santa Clarita). The rooms are very nice - bed and pillows comfortable, nice TV, internet connection, surprisingly quiet considering the proximity to I-5 - easy on/off freeway, walkable food, gas, etc. I was by myself and was concerned about safety as well as the safety of my fully loaded vehicle. Catalina made helpful suggestions, and she and Susie put my mind at ease. Both were friendly and helpful.

We were on the road to Hemet CA and pulled in to Corning Best Western about 4 pm DEc 29. Sign in was great . There is a good patch for walking the dog. Breakfast was really good compared to the previous day at the Shilo Inn in The Dalles. If you are into Teslas, there is an 8 bay charging station in front.

We enjoyed our 1 night stay. The room was comfortable and the breakfast buffet was a pleasant surprise due to the variety of food available - eggs, omelets, bacon, sausage, waffle fixings, cereal, hard boiled eggs, english muffins, bagels, bread, fruit juices and really good coffee! The front desk staff was friendly and checked us in and out efficiently. We would definitely stay again and now look for Best Western hotels when we travel.

Very clean and comfortable room. Had a king bed all to myself and slept like a baby. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. Loved the choices. Also loved that they welcome pets. Made me miss mine, but the owners allowed me to give pets and scratches to the ones I saw.

The smell of the room was bad. It was very expensive. 175$ a night? What in the world. Small, very tiny rooms, the carpet was so dirty that I didn't want to put my hunting gear on the ground. The sheets were dirty. And I knew they were old because there were wrinkled. And had spots. I had to use my sleeping bag. The lady and the front desk wasn't there. Some kids were there hanging out. I will never stay there again.

Yolanda checked my team in, was rude, unwelcoming and argumentative. People outside smoking marijuana that drifted up into the rooms. Overall the room was clean, bed was comfortable, just poor customer service.

I've driven many times through this area on I-5 and have stopped overnight at the Corning Best Western Plus many times. I know I can count on friendly service, a clean and comfortable room and a quiet night's sleep. This time was no different. The town may be small but this motel is close to restaurants, gas stations and next door to a Starbucks, which opens early enough to provide coffee to those who like an early start on the road.

We were booked for one night on a road trip. Room was great, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was unexpectedly good. There is scrambled eggs, little cheese omelettes, bacon, waffles, cereal and breads. It was quite good. The hotel was quiet even though it's next to the freeway. There is a great Mexican restaurant in walking distance and Starbucks is next door. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Such healthy food choices .....excellent!!! Can't say enough about how happy and positive your day can start off, when you aren't fueling your body with just sugar, sugar, sugar !!!!!! The staff were extremely efficient and polite . Really felt welcome and at home. Cookies in the lobby at the end of the day ...so nice with a great choice of teas . Room was spacious , clean and quiet. A very restful stay after the kaos of an 8 hour driving day.

Pros...very nice front desk staff. Room was very clean and had basic amenities. The small refrigerator and microwave are a nice addition. One big issue for me is this new practice of hotels putting sensors in the guest rooms. They have also hooked the air conditioner/heater up to a wall thermostat and that thermostat apparently has sensors on it that turn off when it doesn't detect movement in the room. In the middle of the night, when it was very hot, you wake up sweating because the thermostat has turned your air conditioner off, even though you put your settings in it and left the fan on low. When I pay to rent a hotel room, I expect to be able to control the temperature in it without anybody at the front desk or any sensor telling me what my comfort level is. Breakfast was disappointing, choices were odd, and what was supposed to be bacon was crumbles. Not up to their usual standard.

Even though I brought Travel Voucher # down to the Night CLerk when checking out at 4:30, she could not figure out how to credit the Travel Voucher without the actual voucher. I called Best Western Rewards and had a copy of the voucher faxed to her. Catalina said that she had "taken care of it" when I called back the next day. But she actually had not. I have now spent 2.5 hours trying to communicate with BW Rewards and Corning Inn Thurs 9/19. I will now call VISA and dispute the charge - more time wasted. Good place to stay. Lousy accounting system.

Please understand with travel card we need to have complete information to be able to redeem them. It looks like we have contacted you and gotten all the information needed and have solved the issue. This is a nice Best Western inside but it is close to a freeway exit, so there are a lot of trucks parked outside and not a lot of landscaping. However, the rooms were not noisy, so the external appearance did not affect us until we went out to walk the dog. The pet fee is lower than some and there is a small table outside where we ate our breakfast with our dog. There are several restaurants nearby and the famous olive store (Olive Pit) is right around the corner.

We had stayed on August 10, 2019. We called ahead, and were given a second floor room as promised, even upon arriving late in the night. For breakfast, we were the first to arrive, the staff was very welcoming, and a very good selection of food items. We enjoyed our meal in peace. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and hotel was very clean and well maintained. Thanks sincerely.

This is a convenient stopping place along I-5 as my wife and I travelled from Washington to Southern California. The room was pleasant, spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. The service was excellent. The breakfast was good.

I rated this hotel excellent in comparison to other hotels in its class. We stopped here heading north from San Francisco to 1) visit the Olive Pit (show your room key cover for 10% off!) 2) to charge our car at the Tesla charger next door, and 3) to save money from hotels in Redding (which were more expensive overall). We were very pleased overall. Clean, quiet, nice amenities, an indoor pool and nice breakfast. The bed was comfortable and the Wifi worked well, if not blazing fast. We were warmly greeted by Teresa, late at night, who made sure we were parked safely and securely. All staff greeted us with a smile and were uniformly friendly. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable and pretty basic. If you're sensitive to noise, I'd ask for a room on the opposite side of the freeway and on the second floor. There's a Starbucks next door as well.

This hotel served us well as our trip was getting to long and late. The layout of the hotel is very different in that the indoor pool is just off the lobby and actually adds a pleasant water feature and imparts a relaxing mood. Since it was late we got the last King sized bed that was in a handicapped room. The bed was adequate but my long legs found it to be quite short. The disabled shower has a hand held nozzle that takes some getting used to, and the sink has no vanity as it is a standalone unit. . The breakfast while hot or cold had most of the normal choices, the waffle was extra good, something many places are replacing with the pancake machine. We enjoyed the fresh fruit that included bananas and oranges.

Friendly staff, clean, quiet rooms, and easy off/on I-5 for traveling through California. Breakfast was above expectations. Adjacent grassy lot for walking dogs. Pet friendly! Good spot to stop before heading north into the siskiyou mountains.

I am a Best Western Club member. They had always been my go to Hotel when traveling ...until now. After this stay I can no longer recommend or trust Best Western.. The Corning hotel was aged and it showed in everything from the sloppy paint on the walls to the cruddy carpet that I would not walk barefoot on. No water glasses or coffee maker or fridge or safe, thin, stiff towels. The bed sheets were not tucked in. The TV was not centered over the bed but off center by about 2.5 feet. I skipped the morning shower because it looked so funky. The breakfast was sub par compared to others Also, paper plates and plastic spoons, and paper coffee cups. Housekeeping kept coming by and grabbing food. Upon arrival the reception offered either bonus points on my BW account or water and a snack. I chose the small bottle of water (WOW!) and the granola bar .The price for one night was not cheap for the area, but the accommodation was. Let this be a warning, you can't trust BW and you can't trust reviews.

The hotel was very clean! Friendly staff, beautiful and clean rooms without that typical "hotel smell." Delicious breakfast that was fresh with an attendant making sure the room was clean and food was hot/cold. They offered a AAA or government (teacher) discount.

This Best Western is in a quiet spot, clean, quiet even without a continuous fan on option. Room cooled down fast, bed comfortable, all emenities worked. Breakfast was same good meal. No CNN showing on TV in lobby or breakfast room, that was fabulous , made our stay non-political.=peaceful...

My wife and I decided to stay here on our way to Seattle and this was a great stopover. All of the staff members were friendly and helpful. We got a great room at a fair price. The room itself was clean and spacious. The hotel is easily accessible from I-5 at Exit 631. We would definitely stay here again.

Disrespectful staff, limited amenities and anytime I asked for something like an extra pillow or towel, I had to argue my answer to justify the need and ended up feeling like a worthless beggar... This is my second bad experience with the BW franchise, once in the state of Arkansas and now California... My lesson learned=Best Western...

I found the staff most helpful because when I arrived late morning with no reservation, they found me a room and I was able to check in within minutes of my arrival. The desk checked with cleaning staff to find out which room had been completed and checked with 3 separate cleaning staff until they found me a room that was ready. This was most appreciated. This location was right off the highway so it was very convenient to find and get back on the road for travel the next day.

Enjoyed our stay. We stayed with 4 of our grandchildren and the staff was very kind and helpful with all our many trips to the front desk, e.g. getting a bandaid, getting snacks, getting towels for the pool, and any questions we had. The breakfast was great and kid oriented as well.

The room was very nice. There are trees surrounding the property, and it is pretty quiet. The breakfast room was very small, but the food was very good. They have a nice indoor pool. We will definitely be back.

This was a disappointing experience with Best Western. I called to make a reservation early in the AM and the desk clerk was unable to make the reservation. I offered my Best Western Rewards Number but she told me that the last time she put one into the computer it messed everything up, so she wouldn't even take my number. She said she would have someone call me later. As I was on a tight schedule, I just went online and made my reservation myself. Upon arriving that evening, there was a problem connecting with WiFi. After one trip to the office and a phone call, we still couldn't get connection and was told that they would have to call “them” to fix it. It was never fixed and apparently the problem is distance. My grandson was able to receive a signal at the office, and the next morning we were able to connect when we got close to the office. This is an older building, and it is very clean, but in need of updating for sure. We were on the ground floor and the security lock on our window was broken, which was very concerning to me. The breakfast area is very small and the food was average. I will say that the staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a very nice pool area, although we did not have the opportunity to use it. I would not choose to stay here again as it was not up to my usual experience with Best Western, and if you do and WiFi is important to you, be sure to request a room close to the office.

Dirty room, barking dog and poor customer service . There was a lack of concern when reporting these issues with the front desk. Part of it being the desk was unmanned most of the time. I did send pics to BW

Traveling from Paso Robles, CA to Eugene, OR is over 700 miles. Corning, CA is almost exactly a halfway point. We made an advanced reservation for one night for about $100. The staff was friendly and efficient. The room and bed was clean and comfortable. We found no obvious problems to cause concern and no we don't travel with a black light to fully inspect. We do the obvious. We clean the TV remotes with a antibacterial wipe and pull off the bedspread. We also check for bedbug evidence. Of course, we found nothing. The full breakfast was typical of all hotel free breakfasts. We got a decent good night's sleep. Our room was near the breakfast room work station so we did get a little disturbed by noise from the kitchen staff at 4:30am. They could be more careful about noise at that hour. Overall, it was a pleasant rest stop and a good value and I would use them again.

We are not impressed with this BW plus hotel. The customer service by Yolanda at the front desk was terrible. Long story short there was a mix up with our reservation where they tried to charge us for 2 Rooms when we only reserved one. I had to create a complaint with customer service manager. They did not charge us for the 2nd room but we also did not get an apology for their mix up and stressing us out over something not our fault. I also attached pictures of the carpet in our room which this stain next to the bed looks like blood.

We stayed one night and found the facility comfortable. Checked in and out with ease. Breakfast offered. We found the food cold and they didn't seem to offer the variety we have experienced at other hotels. We had to ask for towels and there was no coffee in the room. The plug in next to the bed was dead and didn't realize it until the next morning when phone hadn't charged.

I hate to say it but I don't believe Corning is anybody's dream destination. This Best Western is what you would expect of a typical Best Western. Easy Check in, rooms that were clean and well maintained. The breakfast contained typical items. The food was prepared hot and full of various options. Their is a Starbucks next to the Hotel, a Tesla charging station if you have a Tesla, a Safeway Super market across the street. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool. Please don't misunderstand this is not a high end hotel, it is simply a place to get some good sleep while in town or on the road.

I am multi million miler on Delta, a Chairman's Club member on Hertz and Holiday Inn IHG Hotels, and am new to BW trying it out to see how they are and make a switch. So far so good, with a few glitches they fixed. I would recommend frequent travelers give BW a try. They are good, conveniently located, great prices, and good food and usually by good restaurants. And if you have a Tesla they have our superchargers almost at every location, which is great!!!!!!!

front desk clerk said the hotel was full and called 3 hotels around his to try and find us rooms but when that didnt work , he quickly reviewed the bookings for that evening , call one that was late only to find that the man had made a mistake online and really wanted a date in 2 weeks, so he changed that mans reservation and offered me the room. I was so grateful I could have kissed him because one of my children was ill and really needed to sleep. Then the next morning as I got breakfast, the front desk lady asked me how our stay was and I said what a difficult night we had with my child being ill, she insisted on a late check out so we could rest more before our drive. I am super impressed with the amazing staff you have at this Best Western and grateful for the genuine kindness that was shown.

I have stayed here before. It is a convenient location off the freeway with gas stations and eateries nearby. My room was very clean and the shower was wonderful. It is a lovely property with a beautiful pool. They offer a free paper and a full breakfast, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, waffle, cereal. The coffee sucked, tasted like flavored water. Customer Service is not what it used to be. Not as friendly but not rude. They have a new card system and I had to make several trips to the front desk before the person on duty took the time to show me how to use it. I also had to inquire about how to hook up to the wifi. And then I was surprised to stumble across the work-out room. It would be a nice touch if the person on duty would take just a few moments to explain the card system and wifi, and other amenities. It would also be a nice touch if the showers had a grab bar for getting in and out safely. Otherwise, thank you for a nice stay.

I needed a place to stay while visiting my parents who had been burned out of their home in Paradise and were renting a small house in Corning. There were some motels close by with lower rates but I prefer to the security of an indoor hallway when traveling alone. All the outside doors were in good working order. Everything was clean and felt fresh. Comfortable beds. Nice breakfast. Pleasant, courteous staff and the indoor pool looked inviting, which made me wish I had packed by bathing suit. Starbucks was right out the back door and easy access on and off the freeway. Plus it's located just a few exits away from the Rolling Hills Casino in case you are looking to do a little gambling. I was not disappointed and would not hesitate to go back.

Very clean rooms and lobby area. Hot tub was clean and hot enough. Breakfast was very nice and staff was very nice. Close to food and freeway but not noisy. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was in good condition. Not too expensive. Worth it.

Our room had a spa, worked great,large spa, with head cushions. Good internet, clean room, the housekeeper put our things in room when she was done cleaning. Comfortable bed, internet worked well, no fuss. We do not like the new thermostats hotels are switching to. We like the omelet style breakfast they serve here.

After booking a room more than a month in advance and having the reservation confirmed via email and my Best Western online account site, I just received a call stating that the were fully booked and would not be honoring my confirmed reservation. They suggested that I call Super 8! I've lost all trust with the Best Western chain.

This is truly an awesome best Western to stay at. I have stayed at others nearby in the same county and by far this is the best!!! The team always makes you feel welcome and always provide great service!!! They really go out of their way to help you . Yolanda in management always makes sure your needs are met immediately. Alex he's a young gentleman that was always kind to me...He will be missed... Lastly but not least outstanding service provided by Catalina... This BW has the best team ever... Highly recommended!!!

This is a great place to stop while traveling along I-5 in the North State. Professional staff, clean and comfortable hotel and rooms, beautiful indoor pool area, fitness center well taken care of, great breakfast. And they even have evening cookies!

This Best Western was clean and pretty quiet, although located close to I-5. It had the nicest breakfast I've had with a variety of breakfast breads and pastries, two eggs, two meats, tater tots, waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit and more. I also enjoyed using the pool, hot tub, and fitness room. The housekeeping & breakfast room staff I encountered were very sweet.

The breakfast was less than expected. Not much juice selection (only two). Bread was old & hard. The site was convenient to the freeway. The hotel was clean and friendly staff. The room I was in was on the opposite side of the building from the parking lot. No way to pay attention to my truck.

Very nice hotel convientently located off the freeway and near a casino!This hotel has all the usual ammenities expected from a Best Western property with two major exceptions. It has probably the best breakfast buffet of all the properties I frequent. Only improvement could be made to order eggs!!!The one negative about my room is that not only is it bolted down, it does not swivel. This makes it impossibe to see the tv from the desk with out pulling out the chest of drawers

Right off freeway but couldn't hear it. Fast internet, spotless room, comfy bed, friendly staff, easy parking, warm breakfast, nice tv, fridge, warm cookies at check-in, pretty pool, weight room, recycle containers (plus and kudos), nice lobby, brkfst was scrambled egg or cheese omlet (cheese and egg fold over), bacon or sausage, make your own toast, bagels, juices, bread and waffles.Food was average, but plentiful, not spectacular, which was a slight let down since the rest of the place was A+, they still get an A, but they just dodged an A+ by having an uninspiring breakfast...okay, but no fireworks.

Room 126, my wife and my Golden. King bed, quiet, comfortable, relaxing. Very nice desk person! BW+ is always a good bet. Did not do the pool or spa. Clean motel, would have liked a table or coffee table in the room.

Good location and price, nice staff and free breakfast, room is clean but with some disinfectant fluid smell, others are very good. It's good for a couple to stay a night during the vacation on the way between Lassen Volcano National Park and Napa valley.

We've stayed here several times and we have not been disappointed yet. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. For being right by I-5, it is quiet. The breakfast is very good, just like all BW breakfasts seem to be. Overall it is a good place to stay.

So let me preface this review by saying we had never stayed at a Best Western ever prior to this stay. We were forced to because Hyatts and Marriotts are not exactly prevalent on the way to Crater Lake. We had to go from a conference in Oakland to Crater Lake and Corning seemed to be a halfway point stop. However, it was a bad choice. First the positives: 1. The receptionist was friendly and got us to our room quickly. 2. Free breakfast buffett was okay 3. They had a trolley to use for luggage 4. Parking was free 5. They have an indoor pool which is open to 9 pm. Now, for the not so good: 1. The exterior is in bad shape and in serious need of an upgrade. 2. Parking is not well lit and too far from the front door. Honestly, if I were a woman traveling alone, I would not want my wife or daughter staying here. 3. The room we were given did not smell clean and was very warm and stale smelling. 4. The room was small and not what we expected. 5. The whole place needs serious renovation. Choose another city and choose another hotel as your half way stop to Crater Lake area. There just are not really nice hotels on the route up to Crater Lake.

While traveling back to the Central Valley from Oregon we stayed one night at the Best Western Plus. We were very pleased. It seemed to be newly renovated with nicely carpeted and upscale hallways, the room was tastefully appointed, bathroom was spotless and the bed was unbelievable. Super comfy! Breakfast in the morning offered eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, yogurt, cereals and muffins all in a spacious room. It was like a restaurant. We would definitely stay here again if in the area or when traveling and we find a Best Western Plus again.

Got charged more for the room than what I booked for. Was told I booked special access room and it was extra rate for regular king. Checked the hotels website and both prices on the website were same low price that I booked for.

The Corning Best Western is a clean, well run, fairly priced motel/hotel. It is easy to get to off of I-5 and close to the Olive Pit. For entertainment, there is a Telsa 440 volt charging station behind the adjoining bank. The only issue, which I presume management will correct, is the door locks are failing. About 1 out of 4 attempts our door would not unlock and the handle would sag. I noticed about 7 doors in the motel/hotel with sagging locks. Overall, this is a good BW and we will return again.

This is a lovely hotel. It is quiet even though it is just off the freeway. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast is more than adequate. We stayed here on the way north to Canada and stayed here again on the way back. This last time we had 2 dogs. The suite for 3 people & 2 dogs was huge with plenty of room for all. Corning is a small town & there are several restaurants within walking distance.There is an indoor swimming pool & spa.

This was a very nice Best Western. We have a disabled daughter and she uses a wheelchair. We requested an ADA room and were given room 102. The room was nice, but I do not believe that the restroom is ADA compliant. There is a bath tub with no wheelchair access. If you are staying here I would recommend a room on the second floor, or if you do stay on the first floor, request a room away from the doors and the trash cans that are just outside of the windows. The reason to be away from the doors is obvious, people allowing the doors to slam shut. The trash cans is different. I do not know if we were just lucky, but at 3 am, there was a person going through the trash can. Of course this woke us up. I would stay here again, but I would not be near the doors or trash cans.

Stayed one night transiting. Very good bed, pillows ok, a/c worked well, bathroom small but clean and neat. Micro and fridge in room. Freeway noise minimal as you are back far enough. Staff were great, and has a beautiful pool. Breakfast area five tables and more in lobby. Scram eggs, tater tots, sausage, waffles, fresh fruit and all the other regular. Microwave hidden in corner. Will stay here again.

I've stayed at several BW pluses and wondered what the plus got you but when we stayed here, I actually thought that I could see a small step above the regular BW. The breakfast was a touch better with more options. The bed was very comfortable. Overall, this was a very nice hotel with everything being up to snuff. Even though it was along the freeway it was very quiet.

Great place to stay, we stay at this hotel every year. Perfectly located, staff is very friendly if there is a problem the fix it very quickly. The family suite is very comfortable and huge, pet friendly.

The staff was very friendly and kind. The pool area was really beautiful with plants and wood ceiling. We loved our room, with plenty of space. The breakfast went way beyond expectations with bacon, Nutella packets, and real maple syrup! I will definitely stay here again when we are passing through.

This Best Western has become a favorite stop-over for us when heading south. The personnel have always been very helpful, the rooms are excellent, the location is quiet and the breakfast we rate as #2 of all the Best Western's we have stayed at. The Olive Pit, which sells many different varieties and styles of olives, is only a couple of blocks away. The same for a Safeway grocery store. You only have to walk across the parking lot to get Starbucks coffee. This place has everything we need and want and we always plot our course so we can stay here.

_______________________ Hello~ We were guests at the above motel on April 5, 2018. We were in Room 202 which was outstanding. We are returning guests at this facility and have never been disappointed with the service, the room, or the other amenities. The pool is nice but we did not use it on this occasion. The facility was also quiet and free from disturbing irritations. The breakfast was very satisfactory. One must remember that Best Western is a mid-range motel and so the offerings at breakfast as consistent with other Plus motels.But, in the case of Corning Best Western we thought the food was better than many of the other places we have stayed. We spent 4 nights at this hotel and could not have chosen better. First up, everyone was friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet (you could hear TVs or kids as you walked through the hallway, but NOTHING once you were inside your room). The beds were comfy. The breakfast was fantastic, as was the coffee! The daily housekeeping service was excellent, and the housekeepers we met were friendly. The laundry room was clean and well-kept. The indoor pool/spa was attractive and led to a very relaxing/calm afternoon after going to the olive groves. All-in-all a wonderful stay. I should note, that I've never left a review on any other hotel in the past...this was just worth it!

Good spot half way between Palm Springs and Vancouver British Columbia. Clean, no highway noise. Starbucks next door aswell as a fuel stop. Hot Breakfast was good, just needed some fruit options. Wee have stayed here several times. Safe too.

Loved the location and went in to vheck out the rooms 2 months prior to our stay en route to our southern destination. The room smelled of urine masked by a room deodorizer. Very spotty internet too frustrating to use. Poor tv channel selection. Don't use the free hotel breakfasts.

Nice place with modern room. Friendly staff. I normally charge my Tesla nearby when travelling from Vancouver BC to Los Angeles and finally decided to check this place out. Everything is within walking distance.

Corning is a small town, great stopping place if traveling from south to north, as we were. This hotel is perfect for a one night stop between here and there. Just off the freeway, easy access, with all the comforts anyone would want. Updated with all the AC and USB outlets you can fill. Shopping area about 4 blocks away, counting parking areas as part of distance. Restaurants, grocery, etc. Lady at the front desk knew where the church was located, had very specific suggestions for dinner. (We ate at one and were VERY pleased.) As a BWPlus you know what to expect in terms of cleanliness, comfort, breakfast, etc. This place meets all of your expectations.

My room was clean, and had a good view- everything worked in the room well. There were no issues, and staff was friendly. Walkable distance to food- Safeway, Starbucks, Burger King, Taco Bell all nearby. I had a pleasant stay, it does fill up on the weekends.

The hotel was very affordable and the staff were very helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the room was well lit with a lovely décor. It was nice staying in Corning right across from the Olive Pit.

Just off I-5 but the room was quiet facing the back.. Next door to a Starbucks and near several gas stations. Huge Tesla charging station near. Room was on the ground floor, quiet and had a comfortable bed. Good WiFi. Excellent choices for breakfast. Lots of parking that can be viewed from your room. Pets allowed. Fridge and microwave in room.

Loved the jacuzzi inside room - very relaxing after a long day drive! Went to Safeways down road to get food. Had fridge & microwave in room. Had a restful sleep. Free breakfast in morning was delicious. Friendly staff. Definitely will stop there for the night whenever I pass Corning. Worth every penny!

We stayed one night while on the road. Clean well kept motel. It has an odd layout there is a large elevator from the lobby to second floor but all the stairs only go to the outside.breakfast was better than usual. Slept with the window open and noise from freeway very minimal, very comfy bed

Hotel clean but you hear the freeway noise. When we asked if we could change to a quitter room they said it would be an extra $50 a night. These rooms were two doubles- which is interesting as none were available when we booked. Mattresses were soft in both rooms and felt like you were sinking into a hole. TV reception was poor, especially if you walked by.

We stayed here for one night on a road trip. The room was nice, the bed was super comfortable and the indoor heated pool/sauna was great. As with most Best Westerns, the rate was super reasonable especially considering the included hot breakfast (eggs, bacon and sausage, fruit, waffles, etc). Location is really convenient... right off the highway, next to Starbucks and several food options.

I found this to be an average Best Western hotel. You can rely on this chain to have a clean and comfortable room at a fair price. They also provide a good breakfast. This location had clean, comfortable rooms and very good check in staff. It also had a really nice indoor pool. The breakfast was okay...cold items were good and they had the make your own waffles, which we always enjoy. Hot items were not as appetizing as other locations we've been and weren't replenished when we arrived. Still a great value overall.

A remote location with few places to eat (don't go to Denny's there) but a great place to rest before heading on the road again. this was our second time here and we received a good experience both times

Check in was quick and simple. The room was very clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly. The pool was heated for a very nice swim. The only issue was the key card which Maintence fixed with in a few moments.

Following the ratings of travelers on TripAdvisor, I was very pleased to stay at the Best Western Plus Corning Inn while driving in northern California. The hotel was a good choice for many reasons. *The hotel was pleasantly clean, comfortable, and quiet. *There was a nice, large indoor pool, being enjoyed by many individual and family guests. *The hotel offered a full breakfast, free WIFI, convenient parking, and close access to Interstate 5. *Other bonuses included close proximity to a major grocery store, multiple restaurants, a large Casino and Starbucks across the parking lot from the hotel. The only thing to improve is the timing of the room card key expiration. It should be lengthened to 1/2 hour after check-out.

This is a beautiful hotel with a beautiful indoor pool and a great bed! There is an elevator to the second floor which was very convenient . There is a small gift shop and they serve free hot breakfast. I would return to this comfortable hotel.

We stopped here on a trip from So California to Oregon. Our room was comfortable and clean. My only regret was that the hot tub was out of service. Otherwise it was a great stay. I would recommend this BW.

Checking in was quick and easy to do without reservation. Since it was early Yolanda was helpful in checking that our rooms were ready. The Good news is they were, the Bad news is my room had a mattress that had one side sunk in and a long hair on the shower curtain. Overall a good value with hot breakfast, Starbucks nearby, easy access to I-5.

Very nice Best Western, conveniently located right off the I-5. Rooms are very nice and remodeled. This hotel is pet friendly which is why we stayed here. We will stay here again even if we aren't traveling with our dog.

BW just off freeway with easy access. Good room and breakfast. Pet friendly - good grounds to walk the child substitute. Take out pizza just across street. Dine in pizza across street beside grocery. Also close to the Olive Pit (1/4 block).

We were just passing through and needed a place to stay for the night. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We had our swimsuits with us so we enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. We had both of them to ourselves which was fun. .. In the morning there was a nice hot breakfast for us before we left to continue our vacation. I'd surely go there again.

Front desk was super friendly and helpful. Very accommodating. Even the maids were friendly in the morning saying good morning when I was leaving. It's extremely clean, updated and cozy. Free breakfast and WiFi!

Easy to park, EXTREMELY CLEAN, great staff. Great Breakfast layout. Plenty of HOT ITEMS. Eggs, Bacon and Waffles COFFEE COFFEE AND MORE COFFEE. Price was fair. Pool and gym plus hot tub are great. The best part of this place is the quietness and ease to everything. Worth every penny spent. Which wasn't a bank breaker either. The breakfast preparation from cooking the bacon awoke us and made us even hungrier. Great way to wake up smelling bacon cooking.

My family stayed at this hotel for a little over a month because of damage done to our home and everyone here was amazing. The breakfast was always good, the staff was super helpful and considerate, and housekeeping always had our room looking great. THE PLACE TO STAY!!

Really a good place to stay while traveling up/down the I-5. A good location to use as a base for exploring the area. Just south of Redding and a better value that most. As a bonus you can get a discount of 15-20% at the nearby restaurants by showing your room key card. A drive thru Starbucks on the way out for added points.

This was a very clean and quiet place to stay. Breakfast was very good. If you like a very hard bed, then this is the place for you to sleep. Would stay again even though the bed was very hard. Several places to eat nearby and there's a casino not far down the highway.

My husband and I stayed over her before returning to Washington State after dropping our granddaughter home in California. It was really great. Nice rooms, really great, helpful staff. The info stated the indoor pool is heated.....but we found it to cool to swim. The pool is the only reason this hotel doesn't get five stars from me. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding.

This hotel was completely upgraded several years ago and still looks like new! Our king room as clean and comfortable. Large desk for computer, etc. and chair and ottoman were nice. The mattress was OK. Catalina, on the front desk was very helpful. The grounds were clean and the hotel is just far enough from the freeway for a quiet sleep. The hot breakfast had a good selection and had plenty of seating.

The check in clerk made sure that breakfast was ready a half hour earlier so we could get on the road sooner. Very nice! Also the breakfast clerk was very nice. Food was hot and tasty. Got our day off to a great start!

Was trying to find a place to stay on my way to LA, and this Best Western was definitely the best value compared to similar hotels in Sacramento. Staff was super friendly even when we arrived at 2:30 in the morning, bed was soft and comfortable, and breakfast was great in the morning.

We stayed upstairs on the opposite end as the lobby, our room was clean, the beds were comfy will extra pillows and nice bedding. Outside noise was minimal from both the hallway and road noise even though the hotel itself is just off I-5. Breakfast was terrific with a wide choice of breads, warm eggs, and breakfast meats as well as two waffle irons. The staff was genuinely friendly and efficient and we will definitely stay there again if we're in the area.

This hotel does not come close to meeting the standards I have experienced at other BW Plus properties. Surly, unhappy staff, wrong furniture for room size, security problem with outside door means I will never stay here again. The "normal" BW hotel in Rogue River is a much, much better hotel even though it is an older property. There is nothing "Plus" about this hotel.

This property is located right off I-5 about two hours north of Sacramento in the heart of California's olive country. Friendly and professional staff. I've stayed there three times in 2017 going between Seattle and San Diego (it is the half-way mark for me). The product is consistent. Yolanda at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and kept up. Great value.

We spent two nights at the Best Western Plus Corning Inn. One night on our way from Ventura County, CA to Washington State and another on the trip back a week later. It was the perfect place to spend the night - quiet, clean, and reasonably priced. In both cases we arrived late (at around 8:00pm) and were greeted by a very friendly and helpful employee (Yolanda?). She offered the express check out so we could leave bright and early without having to go through the checkout process the next morning. We were driving our Telsa Model S and the Corning Supercharger is right next door. It could not have been more convenient. I was able to plug in, charge to 90%, then move the car. First thing in the morning I moved the car back and finished charging while we were getting to leave. There are also some nice fast food restaurants in walking distance (Starbucks and Burger King right next door and a nice Subway across the street). I highly recommend this hotel for weary road trippers.

While hubby drove for hours through wildfire smoke, we changed travel plans and decided to get as close to home as we could before exhaustion. I googled hotels in Corning, CA and found mostly positive reviews. We arrived at midnight, after calling in a reservation and cancelling others. The front desk clerk was alert, sympathetic, and very helpful in. The room was very clean, and the bed surprisingly comfortable, which we both needed! We will definitely use this hotel as a travel-through stopping place in the future.

The bed was great. I fell right to sleep. Shower had nice pressure. Room was clean. We were greeted with a smile. The wifi password was put on our room key envelope so it was handy. Breakfast was really good. Waffles were perfect. Eggs were cooked well.

Best Western in Corning was a great place to stay. I finally decide to stop driving around 9 pm and the other motels in town looked deserted. I knew Best Western had never failed me and this one did not let me down. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast choices beat other motels. The price was very reasonable and I appreciated them having a room available.

This was a stop over and good hotels were hard to find. We were lucky that not only was this a friendly and quiet hotel, it was also dog friendly. Bonus to us was the fleet of brush fire fighter vehicles in the parking lot. Those guys know where to go for a good night's sleep. The property is nice, the hotel a bit dated, but very clean. Nice and friendly staff. A Starbucks in the adjoining parking lot and just down the road from the Olive Pit. A good value.

Corning is not very big, but finding a good hotel at a reasonable price was more challenging than expected. We were happy to find this dog friendly, attentive staff, and a quiet good night's rest. Saw that a brush fire crew had also picked this hotel, what a great endorsement to see all those fire rigs in the parking lot. Would stay here again.

Property is very clean and well maintained. Staff from management to those attending to our daily requirements were fantastic and we have grown to expect any time we spend the night with them! Looking forward to returning in near future

needs total renovation, appears more like typical truck stop, room size not up to most others that have been built in the last 5-10 years. It was just okay, somewhere to stop on a long trip (for the price .

We have stayed at this hotel many times and it is always a good value. Starbucks next door is a plus. Close to restaurants and stores. Only problem was the coffee in the morning- not even luke-warm. Yuck! Food was okay. Staff helpful, especially Catalina.

We travel between California and Seattle several times a year stopping for a night in route. This time we stayed at this property which is right off Highway 5 in the back of a tired looking shopping center. Don't worry about the appearance of the exterior, the interior has been very nicely renovated. The room was large, clean and well decorated. The bath was small but serviceable. We were surprised about how quiet it was in the room given the location so close to the busy highway. The lobby area is also nicely decorated and there is a large indoor pool right off of it. We did not swim but the pool and the area around it looked clean and well maintained with lots of windows. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and professional. We were given an additional discount at checkin and felt this was an exceptional value given the quality. The breakfast was average for a BW, maybe a little better. The coffee was terrible which seems to be normal for BW, which I don't understand. There is a Starbucks next door which saved the day! The town offers little in the way of restaurants other than fast food so we were glad we brought our own food for a light dinner. All in all this is a good stop for a night.

Passing through, stopped by this property while looking for another. Luckily they had availability. Very nice property, as expected from this chain, as previous experiences at other properties by the same name. This property is very clean and has comfortable beds, we were concerned it may be noisy since it is off Hwy 5 so we requested a room away from the Hwy which we were able to get. Very quiet. Rooms have frig, microwave, coffee, big screen TV, free wifi and a desk. Individual AC which wasn't on and room was extremely warm due to outside temps. I understand why properties keep the AC off but I would like to recommend to at least keep it on at a higher temperature as it took a while to cool down our room. Trying to sleep right away was a bit difficult with the heat. Great hot breakfast, scramble eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, the list goes on, great selection and again a clean breakfast room! Great coffee as well! I stayed at this hotel for a night, on my way to Lassen Volcanic National Park. The hotel was conveniently located right off I-5. The facility was clean and the staff was professional. I stayed here on one of the hottest days on record and the AC worked nicely. My only complaint is that because of its proximity to the freeway, I heard trucks going by in the middle of the night. But that's a small complaint.

Wonderful stay. Everything was good, bed extremely comfortable, other family members staying also commented on the beds. Enjoyed breakfast buffet and the coffee in room and at the buffet was excellent.

Arrived with no pre-planning.The location was a perfect time to crash. Made the reservaation about 10 miles out, and the stay was perfect. They have a very well equipped fitness center, and nice rooms. The bed was great.

Aug. 24th, called BW, from on-line request, phone # 855-956-2201, came up offering reduced rates at BW; Rep. clerk claimed to be from BW - I requested room for 1 night, Price quouted to me was $99. + tax.; should have known something was not right; Rep. could not find my BW profile; I was asked to update info, my address, tel #, CC info.; was put on hold for a bit, then informed my request was confirmed, and I would soon be receiving an email, ( email never received), confirming my reservation. There was never a mention I was speaking with a "Reservations.com" a 3rd Party Vendor", I would have not continued reserving a room otherwise. I was just a few blocks away from BW, when I checked in, and they informed me that my reservation was made with a "3rd party vendor". I was not pleased, that's all the info the legitimate BW clerk could give me. On Aug. 25th, I checkerd out and was back on the road. On Aug. 28th, noted from my CC statement, I was charged "$139.98 for my on night stay;" contacted company noted on CC statement; "Reservations.Com, Cust Svc. Rep." listened to my inquiry, put me on hold twice, told me I'd ordered a breakfast; which I did not do. All I wanted was the origanial bill, which was never emailed, justifying the "$139.98 charged". I was informed it would be emailed within 24-48hrs. I feel I have been duped, I requested BW online, and was routed to some organization claiming to be BW. My past experience with BW had been excellent up until know. Considering contacting my CC carrier, reporting devious activity. To be fare this may not be BW fault; Internet Trolls abound. ***Buyer Beware!!! Other than that, the BW Plus Corning Inn was O.K., a place to rest my head from driving 8 hrs. after my Eclipse adventure...

Was travelling to California and decided to stay here. It was an exceptional value for the amenities provided. I especially enjoyed the pool. The lady @ the check-in counter gave me an additional discount on the room. The customer service was excellent.

Clean, spacious, comfortable beds, and quiet. One of the best Best Westerns I have stayed. Walking distance to Casa Ramos for excellent Mexican food and Olive Pit for food, olive oils, wines and gifts. Discounts given at both places for staying at Best Western.

The hotel is clean. A nice facility and a kind helpful staff. Comfortable bed, a better than average included breakfast, and the indoor pool is very nice as the outside temperature in Corning can be high. There is nearby restaurants, grocery shopping and a Tesla Supercharger.

My stay at Best Western Corning, CA was one of the best choices I made on my recent trip through Cali, Oregon, Washington, and Idaho! This hotel far exceeded my expectations. I was checked in and out very quickly. And the bed was super comfortable!

You know what you're getting with a Best Western; this one was a little better value than others along I-5. It is quiet--once inside the room, you don't realize that you're a few hundred feet away from Interstate 5.

Very good value and satisfactory accommodations. Hotel had nice indoor pool, we did not take advantage but others looked to be enjoying the pool. Wish the hotel had a service animal relief area. Overall, very pleased with staff and cleanliness of lobby and room.

Great hotel. Right off the I-5, near the Olive Pit, and the Green Doors Tavern (no food). Great free breakfast. Quite room. Fire safe (alarms and sprinklers.) Elevators and stairs. Indoor pool. Best food nearby is the Rolling Hills Casino, 4 miles South on I-5 or old US 99.

Stayed here after long drive from Bay Area on way to see eclipse. After braving traffic I was greeted by Catalina, smiling and friendly, and a room with an amazingly comfortable bed. Breakfast was a great start to another day of driving.

We have stayed at many Best Westerns and like Best Western Plus hotels for the little extras they provide like more space and slightly fancier decor. However the only thing Plus about this one is the indoor swimming pool area. The rooms are fine, attractive, clean--but definitely not plus. Best Western Hotels to offer a very good breakfast, I'll give them that. We had a king room and it was on the small side. The bathroom was tiny and the door to the bathroom could not be opened if someone was standing at the sink or coming in through the entry door. The front desk people were friendly and nice. I am also very unhappy with the Best Western $10 gift card promotion. They do everything they can to be sure you do NOT use those $10 credits you earn. We stayed in a Best Western on August 4 and when we stayed at this one over a week later, we still had not received an emailed gift card. Even though I had the paid invoice from the first stay, they clerk could not honor the $10 credit without my having the gift card. When I called, they informed me I would actually get $20 credit for each stay, but it would take 2 weeks to email it to me. WHAT??? that's slower than snail mail!

One block off I5 in Corning, 50 feet from a Starbucks and Tesla charging station, beautiful indoor pool and jacuzzi, comfortable beds, clean rooms where everything works, friendly helpful staff and Yolanda the manager keeps everything running smoothly - never any surprises... i'm a truck-driver and i look forward to staying there every Tuesday night...

We booked a king size. It was a spacious room with all the amenities including the microwave. It was soo clean and it was worth the money we spent on it. Would love to go again. The breakfast was soo good.

I have atayed at this property a few different times. I choose this property because of it's location and distance. Overall it's your standard bw property nothing special. Breakfast is average at best, could be better. It seems as if they save stuff that is left over and serve again the next day. The pastries were very dry and stale and I'm not a big fan of powdered eggs with velveta cheese in between. The rooms could also be cleaner and double checked before turning over to guests. Wifi is an absolute joke, if it actually worked. When I stay here it is just a place to sleep and no more.

We needed a place to stay for an 80th birthday party located in small town north of Corning. Easy drive both directions and easy access to I-5 for drive home the next morning. Hotel is hidden behind local retail services, access through parking lot confusing. Bathroom door is too large for the room, blocking access to sink and closet. Worse than an RV to working around door.

Delightful staff. We arrived late without a reservation but the front desk gal arranged a room for us at a very reasonable rate. She brought us extra pillows and made sure we had everything we needed. As my daughter and I were traveling with a newborn this was greatly appreciated.

My daughter and I arrived at 4:00 am with no reservation. We were driving home to Oregon and were too tired to continue driving. The guy who checked us in gave us a discount and an hour later check out, that extra hour was very much appreciated. Our room was huge and very nice, the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again.

I checked in approximately 915pm and was advised at 10pm the power was going to be turned off for a couple of hours. We asked if they had flashlights, and front desk advised no, but you got one on your phone. Went up to my room, the air was not on and it was about 85 degrees. We tried taking a shower but half way the power went out. By midnight the room was unbearable, could not even open the window since the work trucks were parked right out front. I went down to front desk and asked if the had water and the front desk personal stated we don't. About 130 the power did come back on but it took over an hour and a half to cool the room down. In the morning about 730 am after a couple hours of sleep I spoke to the manager (I think her name was Yolanda) after telling her about the worst night I have ever spent in a hotel, she interupted me and asked me "can I ask why last night you didn't go to another hotel?" I explained after driving 15 hours and I had booked this hotel for 3 nights. She went ahead and took the charge off for that night and said that's all I can do. I wasn't asking for the next 2 nights free, but perhaps a discount or an upgrade. She said sorry No. Needless to say I canceled the next 2 nights and will never stay at a Best Western again. I am still shocked that they would allow a guest to cancel and walk out without offering them some kind of a discount or upgrade.

This was a very clean facility. The room was comfortable and cool. The A/C worked beautifully, which was very important since the temperature was in the mid 90's. The Starbuck's is right next door for a quick coffee fix. We are dinner at Casa Ramos where the food was excellent and the wait staff attentive. Breakfast at the BW is fairly standard but always adequate.

Hotel was average. Nothing special. Breakfast was good. Pretty small room though. No room to sit and eat at times. Starbucks right next door was a real plus for me. Not much around the town of Corning. But good enough for the value!

We were on the road for over 6 hours when we got to the hotel. It was immaculate and they had a great breakfast included. A nice place to rest, I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the indoor pool.

As a BW Platinum Rewards member, I've stayed in many BW Pluses. This Inn is fairly typical of the brand. The room was clean and serviceable but nothing special. The breakfast was standard BW fare which was expected. The downside, and this has nothing to do with the hotel, is the lack of quality dinner options in the area. The hotel recommended a steakhouse about 10 miles out of town. The last thing I wish to do after a long days drive is more driving to find a suitable meal. This hotel is perfectly acceptable, but in the future I'd drive a few more miles down the road to a location with better dining options.

I do see you mention the lack of restaurants :( We have A Mexican restaurant, Pizza place, and Olive Pit withing walking distance as wel as the fast food restaurants. Dennis and the Iron Skillet are 1 mile away and the steakhouse at the Rolling Hills Casino is 2 miles away. I apologize if you were misinformed about dining options. We hope this information has help for next time and wish the you can stay with us once again.

This Best Western is close to the freeway but not noisy, has a nice indoor pool and better than standard breakfast. Rooms are on the small side (with two queen beds) if you are travelling with two 60+ pound dogs ( we don't allow them on the beds, so need floor space for their dog beds). No dedicated dog area yet, so must use adjacent businesses. There is a Starbucks at the end of the hotel, and a Safeway, gas stations and other places to eat nearby. The Olive Pit is across the road. Staff were great, room was clean.

The room was neat and clean. It took a while for the AC to cool the room down (we were on second floor), but considering it was 100+ degrees outside, it is fully understandable. The hot tub was smaller, but still very welcoming for us. Your muscles get a little stiff after driving for 14+ hours and it seemed to help. The free breakfast was GREAT! They even had sausage and bacon available. Would I stay there again? Yes, we're already planning on making a reservation to stay there on our trip back home.

After a long drive in the very hot Central Valley, it was wonderful to relax and cool off in the pool. Don't normally like indoor pools but this one was beautifully designed to make it seem like a tropical garden. Beds were comfortable for me but not so much for my daughter who found them to be hard.

This hotel was nice and the staff was good. We enjoyed our stay. They are pet friendly and we have two small dogs and they were very accommodating to us having them in the hotel. We had a spa in our room and the pricing was good. The staff was nice and didn't not bug us.

We pulled in at the Corning Best Western after 8 hours of driving, we were exhausted. Everything was comfortable and clean. The waffles were great and someone went to great pains to make sure the breakfast was plentiful and really good.

We've stayed here before, meets all our needs, Is great to be afforded a full breakfast, before getting back on the road. Our great- granddaughter loves the pool. Had a great time with the other children playing in the pool. For me the elevator is a must have.

I love staying here. The first time it was because of its proximity to LA while I'm on the road. Since then I don't even nees that location concern bit I go out of my way because I love staying a night in northern cali, I love olives and this hotel is unlike the other small town hotels that are outdated. You won't be disappointed here. Metro like services where you wouldn't expect it!

The staff was great. The enclosed pool is very nice especially on those 108 degree days. The breakfast was good. The hotel is walking distance to a Safeway store, Subway, Burger King, and a couple of pizza restaurants. The rolling hills casino is only a few miles south of the hotels exit off of I-5

This is the hotel we stay at on our way to Petaluma once a year and we always get the family suite. The staff is always friendly and always help when needed. Can't say enough about hotel or staff. Stay here. AWESOME!

We decided to avoid Redding and Sacramento and choose a small town for our first stop. The price was excellent and the room was large. The indoor heating pool and hot tub was nice as it was 110 when we arrived!!

Arrived and checked in. Front desk staff very friendly and courteous. Cleanliness of lobby, hallways and room was excellent. Breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend staying there for anyone who is traveling.

We had a handicap room which was huge with two king size beds. The room was clean, the staff was friendly. The pool was in-door and lovely. The only reason we didn't give 5 stars: no laundry facility.

Put short bed in accessible units with no info to customer that may be inconvenienced. Not good, Fan in Air conditioning unit quite noisy which affected sleep. So...stop to get a good nights sleep and did not get a good nights sleep. Breakfast quite good.

Even though it's right off the highway the room was very nice and quiet. Breakfast selection was good. AND There is a Starbucks right next door!! That made my day and morning! Was able to walk over for my morning tea before getting back on the road South.

all in all, this hotel was a good experience. The breakfast was included in the stay and the staff was friendly and helpful;. The bathroom toilet had a leak and the A/C did not work properly but we told the staff and maybe they repaired it. Good place for an overnight stop.

A great place to stop when traveling from southern California to Washington with small dogs. It is next to a Starbucks which is nice and there are several great places to eat close by. Also the Olive Pit which has great Olive and nut products.

We travel to California and back to Canada at least once a year by car and we always try to stay at the Best Western Plus in Corning. Rooms are always comfortable. We like to go to Casa Ramos for dinner and stock up on our year supply of olives at the Olive Pit.

Toilet ran all night. The bed was very comfortable, it lulled us to sleep so someone could use a hotel pass key to open the LOCK AND THE DEADBOLT to come in while we were sleeping and rob us. They took my purse and my husband's billfold. The hotel said sorry, but we are not responsible. They don't even ask if you need a little gas and food money to get you to your destination. Owner of course is out of the country, no response at all from him or the hotel. The third robbery there. When they used a hotel pass key to get in, excuse me, they should be responsible! You have to sue if you want to try for any compensation. I thought I was paying for a safe place to sleep for night. Will never go there again. Very irresponsible ownership, the people working there were fine, except for the thief. It ruined sleeping in motels for me.

It was nicer that I expected. Cute and comfortable, friendly staff, Free parking. Located next to a Starbucks. The breakfast was just ok. There were plenty of fluffy pillows. Overall a great place to stay!

We were traveling around CA. This place was nice, clean, offered a nice breakfast (even had Nutella). I enjoyed our night. The only problem was the extremely soft bed, we did not like that at all. But, if the only problem was a soft bed... well, that's not much of a problem.

Had planned on continuing the 4 hour drive home to Southern Oregon but the sun was setting and I couldn't stay awake. This was a very clean, friendly hotel with access right off the freeway. I was pleased with everything except the bed was a little too soft for my bad back. Great rate and very quiet.

Room clean, great breakfast, beautiful indoor pool and staff is the best. We have stayed there at least four years and always have had a very pleasant stay. Had fun at Rolling Hills Casino and it is such a short drive there. Nice to have a Starbucks within walking distance and a grocery store is near to restock.

I travel up and down I five through California up to Oregon Washington and it is one of the nicer easiest places for me to stop with my large flatbed trailer to park handy to get food the place is clean staff is friendly.

We drive from Seattle to Baja every other year or so and discovered this oasis in Corning. The property is extremely well kept with an excellent indoor pool. Being right next to the "Olive Pit" where you can buy local olive products doesn't hurt either!!

Located right off the freeway so it's easy to find but without the freeway noise. Hotel is clean and inviting. Staff is attentive and friendly. Room was spacious with a 2 person hut tub. I will stay here again when in the area.

This Best Western was great and the breakfast was light years ahead of that offered by most. It was a little pricey and the bed was way too soft for us but we would definitely choose to stay again. The staff was courteous and efficient and while there a college track team also stayed in the hotel. The staff handled everything very well. We got a good night's sleep and a great breakfast.

Pet friendly, Quality staff,Good Breakfast, Comfortable beds. I stay at Best Western more than the average person and never have been treated disrespectfully. Always have been treated very well by the staff. This particular Best Western the rooms were a little cramped. With that said "I'm not there to party", I'm there to rest and for that purpose I am very satisfied and recommend.

Excellent breakfast selection. The hotel personnel were very friendly and we experienced no problems at this hotel. We recommend this hotel to anyone. We had a handicap room with a roll in shower and the area in the room was a little tight to maneuver with a scooter, but overall very good.

Nice hotel close to Highway and not noisy. Takes dogs which is why I travel, I must have a hotel that takes them. It was a nice room, clean spacious and comfortable bed ! Their breakfast the morning I was there had very good egg/omelets which was a nice change from the usual hotel offerings.

Can always count on a great stay at a BW - my second one in a week of travel. Needed a break before heading north so decided to stay in Corning. This is a small town next to nowhere on I-5. I thought the rate would be the same as the other BW's I have been staying in all week at but this was by far had the most expensive rate. That said, the hotel has a nice and bright reception area. The indoor pool looked clean and inviting. Coffee/tea available upon arriving. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Wifi a little slow. Room was well appointed with spotless bathroom and comfy beds. Very quiet considering it is located next to freeway. Breakfast was good with a lot of food choices. Would definitely go back again if in the area.

Because of this stay, I will never stay in another chain again. Hands down the most pleasant, stress free, relaxing experience I've ever had in a hotel. Plus, the rooms were extremely quiet as well. Could not have asked for more, aside from an in room masseuse-LOL

No complaints except for not being notified of big hike in price when I had to change rooms. Nice hotel, decent breakfast, fast internet, comfy bed, nice shower. Very convenient to get to from the highway.

This is a really nice place to stay; safe parking, friendly staff, clean rooms, nice breakfast options, just a block or so off the Interstate; close to good dining places (Casa Ramos) and Valero gas station.

Rooms are clean, beds comfortable, and the indoor pool and hot tub are particularly nice. The hotel is pet friendly, but they do charge a fee per pet. Microwave and fridge in each room is a nice touch. can easily walk to grocery store and restaurants for dinner a block away. Starbucks located across the back parking lot if the hotel coffee is not your style. Hearty breakfast with fresh eggs and bacon, waffles, yogurt, cereal, and the usual mix of toast and bagels. nice assortment of toppings for waffles that you cook yourself.

I drove 9 hours and was just beat. I wanted a hot tub. Best Western had that and more. Beautiful and clean. Awesome indoor pool and spa. The room was amazing. Very upscale for a reasonable price. Staff was great. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. Huge assortment of hot and cold foods. I highly recommend.

This Best Western was a fine mid-range option. The room was decent, the pool area was very nice. Breakfast was quite good. It's really close to the Olive Pit, which is one of my favorite tourist traps. Most importantly for us, they accept pets.

Nice Jacuzii, Noisy blower in the early AM. Alarm clock on at midnight. Room small for suite. Remote for TV not responsive enough. Very good continintle breakfast. Wife not pleased with the noise. I would stay again.

I was encouraged to see high guest ratings, but definitely disagree that this hotel was excellent. The bathroom was not clean (hair on the towel), had permanent black streaks in the toilet and did not have a counter. The room smelled very strongly of an unpleasant odor masked by cologne. I'd recommend paying the extra $10-20 for a nicer hotel!

Arrived late at night and even though the hotel had lots of available rooms, we were given a room next door to a family who was up until almost 1AM and walls are thin so very hard to fall alsleep. Also we asked for a room away (it wasn't)from the freeway side but was told the windows were tight and we wouldn't hear anything (we did).

Picking up citrus from Oregon. Great value to stay in Corning and be able to have a comfortable place to rest and relax after loading 1000's of pounds of citrus. We will definitely be back in December

As an older American who loves to take small vacations, I never go wrong with Best Western when traveling alone. In Corning, the whole staff was especially helpful and the stay was comfortable and problem-free. I didn't use them, but the pool and fitness center looked first rate.

Loved the room, bed, comfy towels, indoor pool, and services. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with lots of choices and very fresh. Room was comfortable and the value was amazing when you count the savings in breakfast !!!

Beds were bad rooms smelled funky and definitely not worth the priced charged. Felt like a motel 6. Area wasn't bad for food purposes. There is also a Starbucks in virtually the same parking lot. Would t stay here again.

I appreciate the cleanliness and absence of smoke smell. I have allergies and asthma and this is of utmost importance to me. It was handy and right off of the freeway. I also appreciate the breakfast bar.

It was priced at 85.00 a night on first week of November. Greeting at front desk very warming. Didn't eat breakfast since we left early AM but they did supply a grab and go bottle water, fruit, granola bar (perfect for back on the road). Bed comfy, room clean., bathroom small but did the job. Had fridge and microwave which came in handy for our ice cooler items.

In desperate need of a remodel. Friendly and courteous staff. However, the rooms, especially the suites, leave a great deal to be desired. With its stains on most furniture(and one in the sheets that I found. Not to mention the ones i might have seen, had I not been so tired). With its mirrors around the crappy hot tub,one might imagine they were whisked away to a terrible 80's porno. very disappointing. If you have a choice, keep driving. Oh,and by the way, if youlike the directions to your 15 year old disgusting spa tub scotch taped to the wall, and the broken over head light switch..... then you are in for a treat. Cheers!

Our stop in Corning usually includes the Olive Pit and Rolling Hills Casino. We stayed at the BW Plus Corning Inn for the first time and will be back. The room we had was clean, well-equipped and the breakfast area was well stocked and staffed. I would like BW to consider upgrading the pillows in their rooms to go along with their very comfortable beds.

For starters - I paid $100/night, so I am not going to bash this hotel. It was good. Just good. Nothing special. Not really nice. But not scary either. For the price, I feel like it was fine. However, calling it Best Western "PLUS" makes me believe I am going to get something better. Not the case. If you get a good rate, I would recommend this hotel.

Hotel was decent. Parking was lighted and easily seen from our room. Bathroom could have been cleaner. Bed was a bit saggy but comfortable. We arrived late in the evening and left before breakfast so we didn't use the pool or food service. Office staff was nice. Easy access from the Freeway.

It's an average hotel for an average price. The bathroom was very small. The beds were comfortable. I'm not sure there's anything better in Corning. I think next year we'll probably just push on to Redding for more options.

Great staff and housekeeping. Room was clean and well furnished. My wife thought the mattress was too soft but I was fine with it. Motel is in a good location, walking distance to theOlive Pit, Starbucks and more. Breakfast had a good selection, eggs, waffles, yogurt and more.

We were very pleased with the staff, they were very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was great. They had bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, mini cheese omelettes, and all the regular stuff, saved us a bunch of money not having to go out and by breakfast. We will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here on our way back to Southern Calif. We were greeted with a friendly "hello how was your trip" I had reserved a accessible suite for my Mom which was great 2 king size beds very large room with a sofa bed as well. The bathroom was perfect for her. The room was clean and quiet. The free breakfast good lots of fresh fruit and well stocked. The indoor pool and spa were a welcomed treat after a long days drive from Cannon Beach. When we checked in I asked the gentleman behind the counter for a restaurant recommendation. Something local. He recommended a Mexican place, Casa Romanos and told us that if we showed our room key we would get 15 percent off our bill. We went and it was good food. great drinks and friendly service.

Thought we could drive 15 hours straight, by 2 in the morning, we had to call it quits. The holiday inn we stayed at before in red bluff was completely booked so we kept driving. Was able to get a room at the Best Western. We had a room on the 2nd floor and the front desk clerk advised my hubby to take the back entrance to avoid a long walk down the hallway. Took her advise and the back entrance did not have an elevator, poor hubby had to carry both our bags up the 2 flight of stairs. The hallway is narrow and dingy and it smelt like bad body odor. Room is very dated, bathroom is extremely tiny, the whole setup reminded me of an old motel 6. Air conditioner hummed loudly and struggled to work, sheets were clean but the room carpet smelt like someone had vomited in there previously. Sprayed some perfume and went to sleep. Leaving that morning, the facilities looked a lot more dingy and dated in the daylight. The saving grace was that Starbucks was right in the SAME plaza. If you are not in desperate need of a bed...keep driving and find somewhere else to stay. Was charged $124 for a 6 hour stay in one of the smelliest, old rooms. But beggars can't choosy, right?

this location is good if you want that chance to relax in private with a hot tub in your room. Also close to the Freeway, quiet and close to places to eat. I would stay there again as long as i had a main floor room.

Very Pleased with our current stay, We usually stay at the Casino while traveling to Southern California, But currently have a new dog and with the pet friendly rooms here we decided to give it a try. Glad we did Super comfortable beds, love the room decor friendly and curtious staff. We will definatley be staying here again.

We stayed on our way north and picked it based on reviews. It was very clean, plenty of parking, good sized room and the breakfast was excellent with hot and cold items. Would certainly recommend this hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We personally like the jacuzzi room. It's within walking distance to stores and restaurants. The staff are the best!! The breakfast room is always fully staffed with multiple choices. Coffe lounge next to breakfast area is also nice. Free newspapers, very nice atmosphere and quiet. Clean!

This Best Western is an older property. However, it is very clean, has great staff, quiet rooms, comfy beds and a well stocked free hot breakfast for a very affordable price. I loved how close it was to both the I-5freeway access to the Equestrian center just 3 exits south. It was very convenient for us going to/from the Eq.center. I also liked how close by the grocery store, Starbucks and good sit down restaurants were.

Traveling from California to Washington each summer, with our dog, we usually stay at Miners Inn in Yreka and love it. This year we thought we would drive a bit further so chose this hotel. As a "plus" hotel we thought it would be a bonus. Not so. Front desk person was not helpful and seemed annoyed with our question about where to eat ( never mind her confusion at check in) When we entered our room (105) there was a strange odor that smelled like someone had just smoked a joint in our room. The internet did not stay connected so you had to continually re-enter the password. Our room was tired looking and the layout was such that you had to close the bathroom door to go out the door of the room. As a Best Western club member, we will find a different Best western for our trip next year, probably returning to Miners Inn.

The beds are comfortable. There are always cookies on arrival. Breakfast is always good. We travel between Oregon and California often and Best Western Corning Inn is always a sure bet… The area is safe… there is a starbucks right next door. The hotel staff is very nice and accommodating. The pool is fantastic. thank you Best Western!

Enjoyed our stay. The price was very affordable and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was fresh and clean and we'll definitely stay here again. The restaurant they recommended, gave us 15% off when we showed our room key. And the food was great. The breakfast in the morning was excellent and the food was delicious. The breakfast room was clean and the server was ever vigilant to answer questions and keep the place spotless.

BW Plus Cornjng seems to be new-ish and the public areas are well designed, The lobby looks out over an attractive indoor pool...giving a resort-like feel. Unfortunately, the guestrooms are small, and the bathrooms are cramped. Breakfast was so-so,with the hot food service often empty.

We had a quiet room, very comfortable bed, nice amenities and a extensive breakfast with good coffee. The check-in staff gave us several ideas for dinner restaurants. We feel we received very good value for the price.

After being on the road driving for 12 Hours straight from Seattle, Washington, it was a very nice place to stop and rest on our way home... Everything was great about the Hotel. it was nice & quiet .. & the bed was very comfortable. I would recommend it to anybody Traveling up & down Interstate 5

I'm disabled, so we had a handicapped room. The room was very clean and the bathroom was accessible for a handicapped person. The bed, however could have been a little lower, not so high, hard to get into.

Travel from OR to CA takes a night on the road and this was a half way stop, more or less. Great hotel, excellent location and near good food. Nice people, clean and quiet. Selected this location as near a friend of years that wanted to visit with me while travelling. I would recommend this hotel to any traveler that needs to stop in area to visit or passing through.

My teenage daughter and I had to stop on our way back from the Los Angeles area and were a little disappointed at how unprofessional staff and how unclean the rooms were once we got settled inside. So needless to say we will by pass this hotel in the future. To many other choices to settle for this one.

All of the people that I came in contact at the hotel were very helpful, friendly, courteous, and professional in performing their job duties. The front desk person was very personable and caring about providing good and efficient service. However, she could have used some help when I arrived because there were two people waiting to register and she was tied up with trying to accommodate another customer on the telephone. She performed the best job that she could maintaining professional standards in the circumstances of not have back up help.

We decided to stay at the Best Western in Corning while traveling I-5. It is very close to the Tesla Supercharger and in a pleasant town. When we checked in, the front desk clerk was very friendly. We had a reservation for a 2 queen bed room. Our room was clean and well appointed. A bonus green feature is that your key card must be inserted into the thermostat in order to run the A/C. The pool was open late and in use by many guests. Breakfast was great and included. Checkout was easy. The lobby had water to refill my water bottle. My only complaints is that the A/C was very noisy as it cycled and there was no way to turn on our bathroom fan. Overall, a nice comfortable stop on I-5 and a great place to charge my car.

It was easy to check-in, staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was nice and clean, but did not like the sauna tub in the room, otherwise all the services where excellent. It was close to freeway and restaurants and gas stations

We were tired and hungry and this place answered our call! Great beds, quiet and a fabulous breakfast in the AM. Good mexican restaurant close by too! Most important there was a Tesla charging station right across the parking lot!

The MOST comfortable bed I have ever slept in at a hotel. I did not hear anything else going on within the hotel, the staff was friendly, the pool was perfect. The hot tub was large enough for several people to enjoy. The breakfast could have had a bigger selection of items to chose from, what was available wasn't bad.

This hotel was a nice stop off stop traveling north on I 5. The town doesn't have much to offer as far as restaurants but we were able to eat at the local truck stop. The hotel was clean and the staff was helpful. Unfortunately the pool was too cool to enjoy.

After my reservation got messed up by a very famous hotel booking site, I left without a place to sleep at 3 in the morning. There were no other hotels in that area had any room available, I found out after an hour of searching sitting in my car. This Best Western at Corning was the only savor for me and my son at 4 in the morning. We just needed a place to sleep.

A nice stopover on a long trip. Nice pool area and a decent breakfast in the morning. A good place to rest along I-5 if you are traveling. There is a nice casino just a few miles away if you are looking for entertainment during your stay.

Everything about this place was really great: it was the perfect distance for a long drive from Tacoma on our way to San Diego, it has an indoor pool which the kids loved, the rooms were comfortable, there were plenty of other families traveling through, and breakfast was great. We'll stay again!

This is a good location for Best Western, easy to find and close to many businesses. We were surprised to find a room during the July 4th event. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, we especially loved the indoor pool, the cool water was refreshing after a day of hiking!

Room, beds, and service was great. Breakfast was above and beyond - omlets, eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, cereal, pastry and more! Only complaint I had was they used cheap plastic utensils - should get a better quality.

We had a great stay, the room was very comfortable and very clean. The pool and hot tub were perfect the kids loved it. Breakfast was fresh and tasted great, they had a great selection. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be staying there again next time we pass through

Excellent place to stop for the night.Felt clean and safe. Needed a place with pull-thru or at least pull around without backing up parking. This was IT! Super comfortable bed and pillows, Great assortment at breakfast.

we chose this over other slightly lower price hotels. while we were just travelling through, I would have liked to stay longer and use the nice pool! the breakfast was above expectations, with things like soy milk, fresh-made waffles and two styles of eggs. this was a pleasant surprise. the staff was very nice and the place overall was clean and very worthwhile. the beds were the newer pillow-top memory foam construction. I understand a lot of people like those style but for me it gets a bit hot on that type of mattress. but still it was a great place and worth the stay!

Another great stay at the Best Western. Needed a stop between Lake Stevens, WA and La Habra ,CA. Small town, but the Best Western made me fell like I was in a big town. Gas, market, Star Bucks close by. Freeway access was easy on and off. All my travels in the last 5 years have been with Best Western, tops in my book.

A very quiet & peaceful hotel. I work nights, no issues sleeping during the day. The staff goes out of their way, to make sure you are comfortable. I never tried the breakfast, but area was spacious enough & set-up out well.

I found hotel staff to be helpful and friendly. Hotel was very clean and quiet! Clerk called my room shortly after my arrival to check that I had found everything satisfactory. Hotel was right off the freeway. Easy access.

Comfortable Stay with my Pets,ground floor access to rooms is good, ample parking,stores banks and restaurants within walking distance, pleasantly quiet in the evening. great freeway access, good areas to air your pets.

Very clean and bed was comfortable. This is third year we have stayed here and each stay everyone has been sooo nice and helpful. Breakfast area is kept very neat and food is well presented. Pool area is kept clean and has a pleasant atmosphere.

The hotel was always clean and seemed to be a good value for the area. Great location for interstate access and options to eat. Quiet and accommodating. Parking is a little narrow if you have a van or larger vehicle, but plenty of it.

I would recommend this hotel, it was very comfortable, clean and the staff was great. Also the breakfast was amazing. And it was very convenient as it was right off the freeway. We checked in late and they had plenty of rooms available.

We were happy with our room. It was clean and quiet with a comfortable bed. The breakfast was pretty good. Didn't use the pool but it did look inviting. I expect we'll stay here next time we stop in Corning!

Excellent Best Western hotel. Our room was clean and quiet. Very pet friendly, many areas to walk your dog at the hotel. Very quick and easy access on and off Interstate 5. One recommendation would be to have more fresh fruit out with breakfast. Very friendly and helpful desk clerk when we checked in.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 days on the graduation weekend of my daughter from Chico State. Our confirmation was confirmed by hotel employee via phone. We checked-in late, check-in was quick. The entire hotel was clean and bright. Our bed was very comfortable, our room was very quiet, clean and neat and had a clean smell without artificial deodorizers. Breakfast was great with choices for all, including make your own omelet and waffle, fruits, yogurt, eggs (boiled and scrambled), bacon, sausage, mini muffins, English muffins, dry cereals, oatmeal, different fruit juice drinks, milk, chocolate, and coffee. The attendant in the breakfast area is very attentive and kept the food well supplied and kept the area clean at all times. I accidentally dropped an earring in the sink- with one phone call to the front desk, it was retrieved in no time. The hot water temperature is perfect! All the employees and neatly dressed and very helpful and pleasant. There is only one elevator near the front desk- definitely use this elevator if your room is in the second floor if you have any luggage when checking in. Parking is free, with ample spaces for all guests. The hotel is easy to find on Hwy 99, an hour and a half drive from Sacramento Airport, half an hour drive to Chico State. Area is quiet and close to a few fast food places. Our experience in this property was great, will definitely stay there again and recommend it 100%.

I am a diamond rewards member and have stayed at this property before. The night clerk at check in stated he had no king bed room and needs to give me two queens at the higher rate. We then argued over the rate and he came down some. YUK! I called him an hour later on my cell phone and asked for a single king--no problem he said. Morning clerk was great and told me two queens and the king had the same rate. She fixed my cost correctly.

Perfect place to stay on our trip to Oregon to visit family. It's convenient and enjoy the pool and breakfast before we head out again. Will continue to use this motel on our trips north. Convenient to restaurants too.

while traveling I-5 to Disneyland on our way back we stopped in corning. the motel was clean, had a discount coupon , nice swimming pool, and enough breakfast to get you going. We also love to go to the Olive Pit and look at all the different olives and had a nice sandwich area.

i stay here every Tuesday night on business and they are always very courteous and helpful... clean rooms, big TVs, beautiful indoor pool with jacuzzi... Starbucks and Tesla charging-station 100 feet away - and Olive Pit restaurant within walking distance one block away... lovely oasis on the I-5 corridor...

Easy on and off the freeway - Safeway across the street. Not many restaurants in this area though. Pool and hot tub good, and quiet, safe, well-lit hotel on a long piece of highway. I always trust the Best Westerns.

Stop here after a long drive, helpful and nice front desk staff. Great breakfast buffet. Free wifi, comfy bed with spacious room. Starbucks and other restaurants just nearby with walkable distance. Will recommend to anyone visit around the area.

The room was nice and the price reasonable. Not a lot of parking for someone towing a trailer, but we were able to park along the front of the hotel, along with another person towing a trailer. The breakfast was good, with fresh fruit. There is a Starbucks right next door, which was a plus for us. We would stay here again.

Overall, a nice place but horrible wifi. Once you get connected it is ok, but the connection process is unbelievably slow, and never tells you that you have connected. I finally figured out that if you enter password, hit "accept" then wait a couple of minutes to try doing anything you are ok. But if you go into to check if you are connected, you won't be, and you will need to re-enter the password again, basically getting stuck in a frustrating loop. I think the biggest failure is the front desk staff doesn't warn you about this at all. On questioning they did admit that they are aware of the wifi issues and are looking for a new provider. We will see...Otherwise, a nice place to stay but beware if you come here with online work to do.

We thought this was a nice place to stay, a good value. We enjoyed their indoor pool and spa, as well as their hot breakfast the next morning. I'd stay there again if in town. Within walking distance to The Olive Pit.

Good hotel. Room was clean like it should have been except two empty beer cans left in our room... Breakfast was good with extra stuff I want expecting. But it's in a small room and super crowded. The pool/ hot tub is nice and indoor. We enjoyed the hotel and don't have any other complaints.

enjoyed it all-great room, pool and landscaping, as well as courteous staff. Convenient to all kinds of food places, grocery store and specialty stores. Pool was nice and warm and indoors as was the spa. Very dog friendly. They provided a dog treat at check-in. Nice spacious rooms and not an exorbitant amount for the dogs to stay as some hotels charge.

On this stop, the hotel was near or at capacity but we were still treated as if we were the only guests. Our room was clean and kept up. The breakfast was standing room only. The parking lot was full. Yet as we checked in we were treated politely and with dispatch. It is nice that we can stay in a hotel with our pet and not be relegated to second rate customers. Corning is a small stop on the I-5 route but has restaurants convenient to the hotel and gas and amenities close by. Thank-you to the staff of the Best Western for making our stops pleasant.

The beds are pretty bad, very little support, sagging on the one side and very hard on back even though I have no back issues. So didn't feel rested upon awaking. Air conditioning/heating was quiet enough to sleep, however. And location was walking distance to grocery/gas/eateries.

This was a good place to stay & it was really comfortable. The bed was very clean & I slept well. My only minor thing would be that the pillows are kind of small. It is easy to get to and to get back on the fwy. If we ever had to stay in corning again I would definitely stay here.

Great location close to the freeway. The TV and showtime in the room was great. Good fitness center and warm breakfast. It was comfortable and quiet; like home away from home. The front desk people are very friendly and willing to help you get to where you're going with directions, maps, etc. Good lit up parking.

We stayed 1 night on way to Oregon. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable, Slept very well and woke up with no aches whatsoever. The A/C unit cooled the upstairs stuffy room very efficiently in no time at all. Facility has a very spacious indoor pool and hot tub area that was squeaky clean, but the pool was a bit cool compared to other indoor pools we've had at other places. Bathroom was very small, but had a seperate small sink area, very limited counter space. Complimentary breakfast was good with standard BW Plus faire which we enjoy having. Also property is adjacent to a Starbucks. Overall a good night's stay and would definitely stay again in the future here when an overnight stay is needed in the area.

we were originally gonna stay in Redding Ca.. but It was such a nice day for a drive I just kept going until I hit Corning.. we bunked up at the best western there because it was close to the freeway, restaurants, and all things Corning. Our hotel was clean, nice, and refreshing.. with more than enough room to kick back in... the only problem was that the back door was not working which made unloading our car problematic... as I am handicapped it made it doubly hard on me... over all though it is a good place to stay.. with micky Dees and starbucks close by

Our stay at Best Western Plus Corning Inn was one of the more disappointing hotel stays in quite a while. Perhaps expectations were a bit too high given the excellent TripAdvisor ratings. Pool and breakfast are top considerations for our family for hotel stays. We were immediately disappointed when walking into the lobby to check in when we saw the pool hours posted 10AM to 10PM. We like to swim first thing in the morning--6AM or 7AM, and, for most hotels, that is not a problem. When we asked if the posted hours were accurate, the response was, "Yes. Can I see your credit card?" When it was made clear that the limited hours were a big problem, no response was given; nothing was offered. We decided to made do with evening pool use, not being people who would attempt to break rules. The second huge disappointment was the pool water temperature--it was 77 deg F. Much too cold to be enjoyable. Most hotels and resorts keep the temperature of their pools at a comfortable 82 to 85 deg F, and a few degrees makes a huge difference. A temperature of 77 deg F is the absolute minimum mandated for Olympic swimming. Even the hot tub was colder than it should have been--just under 99 deg F. We complained to the front desk. A bunch of unhelpful and irrelevant responses were given. The single helpful response finally came: "Talk to the manager (Yolanda) in the morning." Our evening at the pool was ruined, and the kids were in tears. Our night in the room was fine (on the upside). The beds were nice--quite a bit better than many, in fact. Breakfast next morning was somewhat below expectations. The food was slightly below expectations, although the soy milk option was very nice. The dining area was much below expectations--it was very small and crowded, proving to be a problem even in our mid-week off-season stay. On our way to breakfast, we noticed people in the pool area, and it was before 10AM. When checking out (with manager Yolanda), we did not get the expected question, "How was our stay?" so we had to express our disappointment without solicitation. The response to the cold pool was, "We keep it at 77 deg F, otherwise people start complaining it is too hot." Not very credible or believable, particularly when a review from a couple of weeks ago mentioned the cold pool, and Yolanda's response was, "As for the pool we will make sure to keep better track of the heat." The response to people being in the pool area before 10AM was, "We let people into the pool much earlier; 7AM is certainly fine. The receptionist last night is a new employee; he didn't know." Suggestion: train your employees, and take down the inaccurate pool hours sign. Sadly, the room for the pool is nice; certainly above average, so it could have been quite pleasant with the proper water temperatures.

Our pool is kept at 80 degrees and I apologize if you felt it was not to it's temperature. Please understand we need to have the pool hours as we state on the sign from 10am-10pm as we have suites that overlook the pool. We want everyone to enjoy their sleep as well as the hotel. As far as opening the pool earlier we certainly do not have a problem as long as it is possible. As said during your check out we truly value your business and hope you take advantage of the discount that was given for your next time stay. We hope to see you and your beautiful family soon.

I was lied to about the price per night. I had to stay an extra night than I booked and the price went from $84.00 per night to 120.00 per night. The manager blatantly admitted to price gouging because there was a dog show in the area. I had at least $100.00 worth of sterile medical supplies that were missing from my room. The manager's only offer was to have someone 'dig in their garbage for them.' When I was in the lobby "nicely" trying to resolve my issues they kept answering the phone and checking in other customers and making me wait and wait and wait......

Very comfortable! Rooms were quite nice especially for the price. We stayed in a suite with a hot tub and it was wonderful!. Breakfast was good and hot. Staff was accommodating. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The Best Western Hotel in Corning, California is fine. It's your standard Best Western. Very convenient location off the freeway. The breakfast area is very small, and inconsistent about what items are offered. Corning itself doesn't have much in the way of restaurants to offer for other meals.

We were in town a few days for a dog related event. The motel was clean and provided a ground floor room with easy access to the exterior. There was a place close by to walk the dogs and a Starbucks right out the back door. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast standard fare. Although we didn't spend much time in our room, the experience was more than adequate. It is difficult to find decent accommodations when traveling with pets and this property fit the bill.

This hotel is updated, clean, and the staff is friendly. They also have a reasonable pet fee and located next door to Starbucks. They have a fitness center, laundry, and indoor pool. There was nothing to complain about. A nice hotel.

I was really impressed with the Best Western in Corning on our recent stay. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The room we were in was very well kept and clean. The bathroom was immaculate. We had a basic breakfast the next morning which was enjoyable and the coffee is surprisingly good for hotel coffee. If we pass through we will be staying here again.

Unless you're into gambling and want to stay at a smokey casino, this is your BEST bet for Corning. The staff is very helpful and the rooms are very clean. Nice breakfast also. Corning is a very small town with very friendly people. This is a good stopping place for weary travellers. Try the Olive Pit for a great sandwich and olive tasting. Rancho Grande is also very good for authentic Mexican food and margaritas.

Here for a twoday line dance workshop, great fun and good friends. Hotel was lovely and next year I will bring a swimsuit and use the beautiful pool and spa. Breakfast was nice, usual complimentary assortment of pastries and fresh fruit. Scrambled eggs, sausage, and bacon were nice additions. Real cream for coffee which I like

we stayed here while travelling south . the room # 102 was great for the kids they actually had room to play . the indoor pool was nice but way to cold they need to turn up heat , the breakfast area is tiny with very limited selection ,ok at best . front desk staff was very nice

It is one of our biggest rooms and having 2 King beds and a sofa bed in there makes it the greatest! As for the pool we will make sure to keep better track of the heat. We stayed one night, it was very comfortable and clean. Friendly staff. Hard to find location though through our GPS - weird, took us on back roads but we finally found it. Just confusing that's all - and not fault of hotel.

It's a typical Best Western in that it has everything you'd want. Easy access from freeway, nice staff, good breakfast, and the TV didn't show Fox Pseudo News in the breakfast room. Corning isn't much. Most restaurants closed by eight, so check in early so your not limited. Iron Skillet was okay. So, if you find yourself staying in Corning, BW is fine. Just don't look for much to do in town.

As we entered the lobby, we were greeted by Yolanda. We found her to cheerfully pleasant, professional and courteous. She quickly identified our needs for the night and provided us with a AAA quality room. We travel often and we typically attempt to find Best Western hotels. The quality, price, atmosphere and pleasant employees are the reason we return. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel amenities (gym, pool and morning breakfast) were more than expected. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this hotel. There aren't many between Salem, Oregon and Valencia, California on the Interstate 5 corridor that are this nice. My bed was very comfortable....more comfortable than my bed at home. The room was very clean and so were the towels. The dementia eta all good, and the WIFI signal was strong. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'll be booking my stay here again on my next road trip to southern California. I recommend this hotel.

Our family was looking for a place for the night as we traveled from SF to Seattle. I checked several hotels along the route and the Corning BW+ had great reviews. We were not disappointed. Rooms were clean and comfortable and staff was friendly. Breakfast was fine although I missed my biscuits and gravy ;-). Good place to stay and recommend for travelers.

I stayed at this hotel during a horse Expo in town. Upon arrival I signed a paper that stated I did not have a dog which I did not! During my stay a dog ran into my room from an adjoining room followed by its owner. We chatted and petted the dog for a few minutes and upon her leaving I noticed dog fur left on the chair. When I checked out I was notified via phone that I would be charged an extra $50 for allowing the dog to run into my room. I told them I didn't allow it, it came in on his own accord. I get that this hotel is in the business to make money but at what expense? I will not be staying at this Best Western or any in the future. I asked to speak to a manager and she stated that she was the one to talk to. Along with the unfair charge I need to mention that the walls are extremely thin and you can hear any type of conversation in the next room, along with a leaky running toilet all night. They need to rename this hotel Worst Western. Just FYI there is a casino hotel down the road that would've been a better choice for me to stay at. It was more centrally located for my event and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have been treated so rudely.

Our main focus is having the cleanest room possible, we will never place extra charges on your account without having a valid reason to do so. We specify at check in when you are entering a non pet friendly room to ensure all of our guests who are allergic to pets sleep comfortably, We enjoyed seeing you with us for the Horse Expo and apologize for for the harsh inconvenience this may have brought you. We hope you reconsider staying with us again in the near future. .

Considering the place was full when we were there we heard so little noise between rooms, in the halls, or from the road we were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed a restful night. Having spent other nights in other establishments hearing doors slamming, children running down halls, traffic and dogs this was a delightful experience. A reprieve from what we consider a dereliction of the motel/hotel industry. Clean, well appointed room, micro, frig and coffee. A good breakfast and friendly staff, supportive bed, good pillows.

I often go to rolling hills casino and have stayed at both hotels there and wasnt impressed at all especially for price. Best Western Plus is very comfoftable, clean , and the nicest staff I've encountered in my travels. Yolanda at front desk is very polite ,quick thru check in and check out and very helpful. This was our first stay at the Corning, CA Best Western Plus and it will probably be our last. We were quoted a price but when we got the bill it was for a higher amount. We discovered in the morning that there was no coffee in the room. We had to leave before the breakfast started in the AM.

This is a quality hotel on I-5 in Corning. The facility was orderly and well maintained. The 'two queens' room was good and clean, although not very large. The complimentary breakfast was 'right on', with all the tasty essentials. A very comfortable stay, although had no time for the pool...

We made a last minute reservation after our initial reservation at another motel in Red Bluff mysteriously vanished, and we couldn't be happier. The hotel was clean and spacious rooms made our stay comfortable. The staff were kind and helpful. Wish we would have brought our swimsuits for the indoor hot tub... it sure looked inviting! Price of the rooms includes a breakfast... best to skip that and find other offerings, unless you are good with cold cereal and sweet rolls or toast. The hot breakfast left a lot to be desired. We will definitely keep them in mind for the next visit!

The king suite with the hot tub is our favorite room at Best Western. The beds are comfy, overall a very good place to stay. We had no issues checking in or out and the lady upfront was very sweet. We arrived late and still had no issues checking in. The room was nice, I would definitely recommend this hotel to other's who visit.

we were midway to our destination so stayed in Corning the night. I would recommend this Best Western because it was clean, the staff was quite friendly and competent, the breakfast provided a lot of choices, and everything in the room worked! The downside is it is close to the freeway so if you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs.

This Best Western was what we have come to expect from the chain -- clean and comfortable. Rates were good and the breakfast was also good with lots of fruit choices. This is olive country and there was a great olive store nearby with lots of olive products. Nearby, within walking distance, were also many restaurants and services. A good place to stay and easy in/off the freeway!

Located right off the freeway and the staff was very friendly. We were there for a basketball tournament so having the indoor pool, spa and continental breakfast was a plus. There are a handful of restaurants in walking distance plus a Starbucks right next door. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family. Also...visit the Olive Pit across the street. You can sample varieties of olives and olive oils plus they make yummy sandwiches.

after traveling all day through rain and snow we found this Best Western in Corning very comfortable and convenient. Check-in was easy and having our dog permitted to stay with us was great too. The fact that Starbucks was right outside of our room was really nice too.

We took a night just to spend some time away from home. Booked a hot tub suite and had a great time. The staff were amazing and the room was perfect! Great Bed, Tub, and Towels. PS The pillows were so comfy! We decided to make this our get away hotel from now on!

This is the best of the best. It's been a solid performer for me over the last several years. It's well located right off the freeway, but with little traffic noise. The hotel is always very clean and kept in great condition. The best part of the stay experience is the hotel staff. I have never encountered an unpleasant person working at this hotel. In fact, they are especially friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to any traveler looking for a good hotel experience. it's a great value for your dollar.

This was our second stay at the BW Plus Corning Inn and both times we were very pleased with the room, its amenities, the friendly staff and great full breakfast. The helpful lobby clerk told us we could get a 10-15% discount on meals at some of the local restaurants just by showing our room key. We took advantage of that! Corning is a convenient stop for us along the Hwy 5 corridor on our way home from various places in northern California and Oregon. This Best Western was clean and comfortable. Although it is right next to lnterstate 5, it was quiet with no traffic noise. The full breakfast was good, the food area was kept clean and well stocked. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Staff and the hotel are always the best in value and presence. The staff goes out of their way to make your stay great. It is always a pleasure to stay at the Corning, CA Best Western. The staff is always so pleasant and try to remember their frequent guests names, which is always such a nice touch. Makes you feel that you are more than a dollar sign.

We spent Thanksgiving night at this hotel, arriving about 7 pm. Everything went well, the hotel was convenient and quiet. Breakfast area was a little small (only real drawback). I would stay here again.

You could not have been closer to the freeway. Yet the rooms (at least the ones facing to the front) were really quiet. Usual amenities, but the breakfast was somewhat paltry and not that tasty. Right next to a Starbucks for those who need a real cup of java.

This hotel was clean and staff had great welcoming attitudes. It was located in and around restaurants, stores and gas stations. I-5 was very easy access and although the hotel was near the freeway I didn't have traffic noise.

The staff here is fantastic. After returning to my room mid-day, housekeeping was ready to clean my room. I took my newspaper down to the lobby to sit and read while the room was being cleaned thinking I'd go back upstairs in about 15-20 minutes. The lobby was sunny and quiet with comfy chairs. About 15 minutes later the lady at the registration desk asked me if I was in room such and such because housekeeping was calling to let me know my room was clean and ready if I wanted to return. So thoughtful! The room was quiet and comfortable. They accept pets. Didn't eat breakfast but lots of people did. Starbuck's is right next door. Convenient to I-5 and Safeway is about a block's walk away.

I've stayed at this hotel over 60 days in the past 2 years and have NEVER been disappointed. I highly recommend it when you are in the area. While we have family in the area we prefer to stay here. The breakfast is always fresh, cookies at 5PM, clean and comfortable rooms. We stay in a non-smoking room, king size and they offer AAA discounts.

We were two days into driving south for the winter from Canada along the Interstate #5. Our stay at this Best Western Plus was met with great appreciation of the roomy, comfortable accommodations, plus a stretch in the pool and then a soak in the hot tub, both indoors. The pillows were fluffy and the bed was great. This hotel is off the highway and very quiet. It has easy access to gas, a grocery store and the highway in the morning. Check-in and out were fast and easy. We will stay here again on our way home in the spring!

radio/clock in room didn't work, lights in bathroom wouldn't stay on, lots of noise from hall and adjacent rooms, front desk staff unhelpful. I've stayed a regular Best Westerns that were better than this one. I had considered doing a rewards program, but opted not to due to inconsistent quality of BW hotels

hotel staff was nice… check in was easy… bed was way comfortable! breakfast was hot and plentiful. fresh warm cookies on arrival and throughout the stay! great bargain in a safe hotel… great parking.. thank you best western!

We used this hotel coming and going to a trip to L.A. It was very modernized, comfortable and quiet. We would readily stay here again. Breakfast not so great - either make your own waffles and have the coffee (keep it simple) or go elsewhere to eat.

Great place to stay. The breakfast was very good; great start to our land day drive ahead. The only issue I had was that the room was small. The was narrow leaving little room between the king-size bed and the dresser. Leaving only s few feet to squeeze by in the space. However, I realize that there is nothing that can be done now.

The hotel felt older in the decor or at least need new carpet in the room. Room was clean, nothing especial, just a clean efficient room. Flat screen TV with good channel reception. The bed linen, sheets, and mattress were very comfy and clean. Breakfast was good, middle to high scores for the breakfast. Bacon, sausage & scrambled eggs, boiled eggs and the usual cereal, bulk danish. Replenished often. Didn't use the pool. Last minute stay and they provided toothbrush and paste. Would stay again.

Room was outstanding; clean, spacious, comfortable. Beds were incredible. There were three of us in the room, and each one of us raved how good this room was. I highly recommend it, and I will be staying again.

I was pleased to know that this property had a class about itself. Great rooms, very nice staff to help with every need. No truck parking but was able to find a spot for big rigs. Quiet, comfortable and would definitely stay at this location again.

We travel to Corning to fish the Sacramento River. This was our 2nd time staying at Best Western Plus Corning Inn and both stays were fantastic! The hotel is centrally located, near restaurants, the Olive Pit and Lucero Olive Oil tasting and the freeway, yet we couldn't hear it at all. There is even a Starbucks next door. The room was clean and bed was comfortable and the breakfast that is included was very good with eggs, bacon, sausage, cereals, yogurts, fruit, muffins and a waffle maker. The staff is beyond nice! They even let us put our vacuum packed fish in their freezer. We will definitely be back!

Entire staff was fantastic! We went to Chico for my sons race and they had no rooms so we found BW in Corning and everyone was wonderful. Thank you for a great stay and the beds were AWESOME! I will stay at this hotel again even if there are rooms available in Chico.

We were very pleased with the professional presentation and amenities provided. We had four adults and 3 children in our group so booked in advance two rooms close to where we could bring in luggage. The front desk staff were friendly and courteous and always there to answer questions and to assist us. We will recommend Best Western to our friends.

This is a nice well maintained property. We enjoyed a quiet room which was very clean and neat. We encountered not problems while at the motel. This was our third time to stay at the Best Western in Corning.

the hotel and staff were great,but the bed had severe sagging on both sides.Beds are pillow tops and I know from having had one at home that you cannot rotate them leading to sagging.They really need to check them periodically.

We stayed in the handicapped accessible room. Accommodations were great. Only drawback was lack of space in bathroom for toiletries. Very comfortable beds and excellent breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We have reserved the same room for our return trip to Eugene Oregon. Highly recommended.
