when we travel north we always stay here its a great hotel the rooms are clean the property is always well maintained and the pool is very nice breakfast has a large selection to choose from something for everyone staff is very friendly and the rooms are very quiet
If you are looking for a pet-friendly place with lots of neighborly folks-this is it. From check-in to check-out the staff was courteous and friendly! Warm cookies, hot tea and coffee greeted us in the lobby. The housekeeping staff had our room spot-less, neat, and sweet-smelling.(Did I mention this was a pet-friendly room?) There was plenty of outdoor walking space for us and the dogs right outside our door, with no noisy or busy streets to bother us. (Ask for a room on the pool side of the Inn) We had a great night's sleep. Breakfast was plentiful and piping hot! Will make this a regular stop from now on!

G7679NSrobertp, Than you for the great reveiw! I am so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us and hope to see you again very soon.
Very caring and professional check staff work with me trying to make sure I got my reward points. They were having some problem with internet she said she would hold my number and keep trying to assist the system.
Other than the sliding glass door and chairs, the room and grounds were very nice. Breakfast was better than some higher end hotels we have stayed in. Overall pleased with the room, grounds and breakfast.
Weve stayed here in the past, but they put us in the back section. This time we were in the front section and had a rough night. Between the road noise and the train whistles we heard numerous times we got a very restless sleep. Then around 6:30 we heard banging and doors slaming. When we stepped out to go to breakfast which was very good, this was 3 feet from our front door. Not a good showing!!
Can't beat the location, just a hop off I-75 and lots of amenities nearby. Very nice folks on staff and slightly better than the average, but fairly consistent, Best Western culture. Almost always stay at BWestern due to good value and decent rooms & breakfast. Only $70 plus tax in July. Not bad.
Stayed here many times, keeps a high standard of customer service. Updated decor was a bonus. Staff is always friendly, and close to so many choices to dine. Very convenient to I-75. Will definitely be back soon.
Nice overnight stay after a long trip. Clean, conveniently located, comfortable and well staffed. Restaurants and gas stations at your fingertips. Breakfast was excellent and ready even earlier than expected. Professional and caring staff. Pool available but did not use due to inclement weather. Easy to connect to the internet and they provided a TV channel guide. There wer no more available rooms on the 1st level so we did have to use the stairs. Would stay there again!
We stopped for a one night stay. The room was very clean. Restroom was clean and very nice. Staff is very nice and accommodating. Beds were very comfy with lots of pillows. Breakfast is awesome. Would highly recommend
We were looking for room at the last minute and checked Hampton Inn and Suites and they were $140 night then checked across street and Best Western was $75. We took it and they had chocolate chip cookies fresh baked and ladies that checked us in were real nice. We checked into room. Nice room and had free breakfast. So we went to breakfast in morning and they had Belgium waffles. Scrambled eggs and sausage. Biscuit and gravy. Milk and juice and free USA today. The manager even came out and asked how everything was besides room but breakfast also. When I head to Florida next time I will be sure to make that my night spot and reserve room ahead of time.
Wow was I surprised, I was expecting a basic clean room for the amount I paid. The room was large and clean , beds were great , staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool was large and clean. Full breakfast, we will definitely stay again when we are in the area.
Best place to stay in southern Georgia. That room had a door wall that opened up. Large field close by for walking dog. Several good restaurants nearby. Ideal place. Breakfast was outstanding. Everything spotless.
Good points first: Comfortable Room , Comfortable Beds, Nice View of Pool Area Bad Points: Pool was green , to dirty to swim in , big disappointment, especially when you have to entertain children Lady at front desk was very rude , didn't make you feel welcome, room not clean, hair in shower, dusty night tables The Inn would be a nice place to stay if was kept cleaner

Lisa L, Thank you for your review of BW Colonial Inn. I do apologize for the pool being less than crystal clear. We had to replace a part on the pool pump itself and did not get the gates locked and signs up when we should have. I do hope you will give us another chance to serve you the next time you are in the area.
Stayed one night on the road. A good rate meant a really good value. Big free breakfast. Pet friendly with large walking area. Even supply waste bags. Looks like some rooms are being remodeled. All in all a good night.

I stayed in this hotel twice. Once on my way to my destination and once on my way home. The rooms I stayed in were very nice and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing to stay in the Cordele Ga. area.

Thank you rsrobinsonjr for the great review. We love seeing our repeat guest come back to visit us and hope that you will become a familiar face.
What a fantastic surprise this hotel was! Was worried about Memorial Day traffic, so I departed Metro Atlanta the evening of Thursday, May 24, at 9:00. It was raining and ran into some traffic through Atlanta. My goal was to make it to Cordele, which is half way to my parents. By the time I got to Cordele it was midnight. So I was very tired. The hotel was an oasis! Clean. Nicely appointed. Friendly staff. Excellent t experience.

I stay at this Inn two times this year & have always found it to be above par. The grounds are clean & safe, breakfast is hardy, rooms are clean, spacious & quite, staff is friendly & helpful. Reasonable price for a comfortable facility.

Mack407, Thank you for your review and we look forward to seeing you again the next time you are in the area. Terry
Traveling through the area and just needed a place to sleep for the night. Several other nearby hotels were way overpriced for the area, so we decided to try here. Everything from the lobby to the room was clean and functional. Bed was just slightly more firm than I like . Several eateries within walking distance. Would definitely use again.

Friendly staff. Speedy check in. Pet friendly. Clean. Pretty, inside and out. Smells like honeysuckle when you pull in and everytime you walk out of your room! Pool was perfect temp. Ice machine worked well. Nice variety of breakfast items.

Reasonable price for a comfortable facility. We've stayed here while traveling to and from Florida for several years and it has recently upgraded many of the amenities. We like it... it's a good value for the dollar.

This is a very nice place to stay for the money the breakfast was really good.the staff was kind, helpcul and very professional.i would definitely stay at this place again...3 star botel should be rated 5
Very convenient to everything, always clean, great breakfast, all of staff are very friendly. Stay here every time we are in the area. Can walk to many restaurants. Pool area is great, even place to walk the dogs. Sincerely, Donna Rewis
Based on reviews we thought this would be a step up from a quality inn we were considering so we were willing to pay $10 more. We weren't happy with the condition of the mattress but it was passable. But what turned out to be the biggest problem for us were the pillows - they were about 8 inches thick and firm without much give. Who sleeps on pillows like these? And, the sheets were of a coarse texture that was very uncomfortable on my face. I ended up getting extra bath towels and using those for a pillow. It would have been that or no pillow at all. They no longer have a fitness facility available although it is listed on their description. And I notice that the hotel's favorite review mentions cheese omelets... There were no cheese omelettes. On check out we complained about the pillows and asked if there were other choices and the desk clerk said no, that these were Best Western branded pillows and no other choices. Until they give more choices on pillows I would not choose to stay here again. Oh... also when we entered the room there was an odor that was hard to describe until I remembered how our furry dog used to smell right after a shampoo while he was still wet. That was a fond memory for us but it might not be for someone else.
All in all a very good motel/hotel experience. Breakfast was good, cheese omelettes, biscuits & gravy, sausage and the usual breads, waffles & juices. Morning shower was warm, couldn't get it hot. Informed the desk at check out & the hotel adjusted bill accordingly & immediately. Would stay again and would recommend this hotel to travelers.
The room was dated but clean. They courtyard side is nice and quite. A large grassy area, and a pool. Grounds we kept nice and each room had a patio. Great for being dog friendly and a low pet fee. Check in was fast and easy, staff were friendly. They had a good breakfast selection.

Thank you for your review of Best Western Colonial Inn, We are in the process of updating all our rooms with new furniture, drapes and soft goods. I hope you will stay with us again soon.
I have stayed at the Best Western Colonial Inn many times in the last 20 years. Not much has changed except for the lobby which looks like a luxury hotel lobby now. The morning breakfast is very good and the coffee is hot and plenty of it. The rooms are comfortable as is the beds. Noting outstanding good or bad. Just a nice, friendly and easy to stay at location. Walk to Chick Fil-A across the street or to Cracker Barrel across the parking lot or simply walk next door for seafood. Worth the money!!
I stay at this Inn several times a year & have always found it to be above par. The grounds are clean & safe, breakfast is hardy, rooms are clean, spacious & quite, staff is friendly & helpful. They welcome pets & even have fresh baked cookies in the eve.

Nice clean hotel, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and the free breakfast was actually surprisingly good. Good location, right off the freeway. Check in and out was made easy, overall a good night sleep. If ever in this area again, I will use this hotel again.
BestWestern_101, Manager at Best Western Colonial Inn, responded to this review
This motel is a great value for the price. The next night after we stayed here we paid 50% more for a motel that was not even close to the Colonial Inn. Everything looks like new and it was very convenient and quiet.
Wonderful breakfast. The cheese omelet was a nice surprise. We will definitely stay here again. It was a good value for less than $100.00 per night. We enjoyed the balcony that overlooked the pool area.
The ladies who checked us in could not have been more welcoming. The rooms here come with either a door that opens to a small porch area or a balcony that is large enough to sit several chairs on. We found our room to be large with a microwave and a refrigerator. The bathroom area was clean and well thought out with a sink both inside the bathroom and one just outside of the bathroom. Breakfast is served from 6:00 am-10:00 am and included the regulars that you see everywhere but also sausage, grits and eggs. The one side of the hotel has an outdoor pool, swing set and large pet area. There was a $10.00 pet fee at this hotel.
I tend to be a BW loyal customer, but this hotel was a disappointment. The room was very clean, but the carpet is lifting off the floor, plaster is crumbling in the bathroom, and the wallpaper is lifting off. Most frustrating was trying to access the internet. We tried with multiple devices and could only get one logged on. Every time we tried to enter the password, it would go to the advertiser - over 20 attempts. On the plus side, the staff was very nice, the breakfast was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located right off the highway with multiple restaurants surrounding.
pleased with this room, perfect for our travel back home for 1 night, our room faced main road so found it a bit noisy but other than that would recommend this motel and would stay again when travelling
Been here before. It has a couple of things I like. First, on the first floor there are rear entrances you can park your car next to, but also hallway entrances to keep out of the weather. Next are the pillows, hotels are going to smaller pillows now, not sure why, but these, while small, are denser and provide more support for me. Then bed is very comfortable and I got more sleep than usual. Breakfast bar is full, with eggs, sausage, biscuits, etc.. Folks are very nice there. Quality was excellent for a sub $100 hotel room.
We stayed here end of Feb. 2018 on our way to Florida. Rooms were reasonably clean although somewhat dated. Beds were comfortable. The free morning breakfast was very good with nice selection of hot and cold items. Sausages were great. Coffee was excellent.
My family stayed here overnight on a trip to Florida. The room was very nice and clean, and also included a microwave and a refrigerator. The beds were comfortable too. The breakfast was better than some as they had eggs, sausage, and biscuits and gravy, etc. Very reasonable price for the room too!
From check in to check out the staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and had a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good with much to choose from fresh made waffles with delicious toppings to biscuits and gravy. Best of all it was fresh and hot.
Desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room had a lock issue and the staff went out of their way to get me a different room. Great service. Room was nice. Looked well kept and clean. was crazy cold out and the heat worked fine. No complaints other than I had a room that faced the road and the road noise from the traffic was quite noticeable all night. Try and get a room that doesn't face the road and you should be good to go. Breakfast was the basic. No issues. Wi-fi worked fine. I'd stay again if in the area. Just would request a room not facing the road.
My husband and arrived late after the lobby closed but there was a desk clerk behind a window like an old movie ticket booth. The clerk was very pleasant and easy to understand. She had us registered in five minutes and even gave us a veterans discount after we showed her the "V" on the back of my husband's drivers license. The room was attractive and the bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately we left early the next morning but would have definitely stayed longer if we could.
Clean, staff friendly, quiet. Has extra sink outside bathroom, loved that! Breakfast was step above usual, real sausage, not regular hotel stuff, great selection. I would recommend here to anyone, plan on staying again
The Best Western Colonial Inn is older, has fairly small rooms, and is clean. It's a good place to go for a short stay. It's also a good place for pets. You can park right in front of your room. Management is friendly & accommodating.
We go to dog field trials near Cordele and always stay at this hotel. The property is clean, staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast is the best we have ever had as a free perk at a chain hotel. They accept our dogs for a minimal nightly fee too.
Had a room with two Queen beds. One bed was comfortable the other needed a new mattress. The staff was friendly and courteous. Room was clean. Got in at 11 pm and it was no problem. Will definitely stay there again
I did not have a reservation and needed a pet friendly property and this property was close by and available. Room was cozy, clean and comfortable. I was only there for a short while and left before breakfast so don't know how it was. Staff was polite and efficient.
My room was clean and comfortable. Large beds with soft mattress. microwave and refrigerator sink inside bathroom and one out side. Nice double doors for patio sitting. large out door pool and nice places to walk. Pet friendly also. I will stay here anytime I am in this area. Close to places to eat also. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was right with my stay.
Motels in the Cordele area are more reasonable than some parts of Southern Georgia. There was no elevator to the second floor, so ask for a first-floor room if stairs are a problem. Breakfast was pretty good, and all of the staff was friendly and helpful. There was some road noise, but I carry a "white-noise" app on my phone, so it was not a problem for me.
Arriving late, they lock the door to reception and you are passed your key through a flap, similar to a late night visit to a gas station. Don't let that put you off, this hotel is easy to recommend, the rooms a good size. We had two twin beds and the pillows were the perfect size for me. It was particularly cold and we struggled to fill the tub with hot water, the heating in the room was effective. We slept well, it's a quiet hotel, not too far off the 75, but far enough away to be peaceful. Morning and we had an excellent hot breakfast, the staff very friendly, taking time to chat to guests.
Greeted by staff who were eager to make our stay nice. The bed was clean and comfortable. Easy entrance and exit to the Interstate. Great rate at &87 total. I missed having extra plugs on the bedside table for electronics and the breakfast was mediocre.
What kind of idiot thought beds that are more than three feet high are a good idea! They are so hard to get into that I seriously considered dragging the mattress onto the floor. To top it off, the bedside tables are a regular height making it impossible to reach anything on a table from the bed.
Clean, safe, comfy beds and awesome customer service. Would definitely stay again when in area. Close to shopping, freeway and restaurants. Brian and Brittany made sure we enjoyed our stay and were friendly and provided great customer service!
This was a great hotel. Clean, easy access to everything. The breakfast was good, hot and a verity to choose from. The staff went out of there way to make your stay a good one. I will use this Best Western again when traveling to Florida.
Awesome customer service, clean hotel room, and a great free breakfast. This hotel is just off the highway and is the perfect place to stay if you are traveling and want a trustworthy place to lay your head for the night.
All eight pillows in the room were very hard and bulky. Otherwise the room was okay. We've stayed at this Best Western many times in the past but since the "renovation", the pillows have been replaced with hard/bulky pillows. There is also a table and chair set (with a wobbly lamp) that makes it difficult to move around in the room.
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.very nice hotel. I would stay there again in any of my travels to and from Kentucky. The staff was very helpful in check-in and told me they had express check out.
Cleanliness & amenities were our troubles. The staff made new sheets available at front desk. Rooms are big, with balcony but not very secure, loose sliding door. Internet was unavailable with code and we chose to eat at cracker barrel instead.
We stay at this hotel twice a year but unfortunately this stay wasn't good due to the toilet not flushing and the tv remote not working. During our checkout the housekeeper said they needed to replace all the remotes too many were bad and just not working.
Nice room but well equipped for travellers needs . Breakfast was good as usual for Best Western. There is shoping available by if needed. The unit was priced right for the travellers. This is about four hours from Sarrasota .
Room clean. Bed little hard That's preference. Biggest complaints. Not enough parking on back side and the water pressure in the shower is a trickle. Staff very nice. Breakfast was nice. Overall would stay here again.
We needed a stopover for a night and price here was good. Have not used Best Western for 10 years since they stole my large points balance without telling me. (The blurb now says points don't expire but they did then!). Hotel was acceptable. Room was small but clean and acceptable. Bed not as comfortable as some hotels, even budget ones, provide these days. Breakfast the usual 'free' fare, so uninspiring. No fruit, not even a banana. Slow internet.
We stay here on our way to Florida every year. We are always very satisfied with the rooms, service and staff. They have new furniture on order, and we can't wait to see it on our next stay. We have stayed in many, many times on our way to Florida 1-2 times each year. I have even made reservations here for my children who go down to Florida as well.
Stopped here for a night on our way to Kentucky. The staff was very friendly and helpful and our room was clean and very spacious. Modern decore that suggested the hotel had been renovated recently but prices were very reasonable. $10 fee for our cat, but we thought that was fair. The breakfast buffet was awesome with scrambled eggs, sausage, grits, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereals, fruit, yogurt, toast, juice, and coffee. Would probably pay $10-$15 for this at Waffle House or Denny's. Anyhow it was a great stay and we'll definitely go back there.
Never have we received such a warm welcome at a chain hotel. Our gold status was acknowledged and we were treated to a bag of goodies. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, meeting our needs even before we knew we had them. The hotel is attractive and well kept and our room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was really good, too. To make this even better, the cost was a lot less than the Hampton across the street. We would go out of our way to stay here the next time we are in the area.
This Best Western has EXCELLENT management and people working the facility. Soooo MUCH BETTER THAN THE HAMPTON INN across the street. Better TV channels, better price, much more friendly and accommodating and the sausage they serve at breakfast is amazing. This is a rare find among my travels.
This place is very nice. Beautiful grounds and pool. Places to eat very close by. Great hot breakfast. Clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and Johnie on the spot. Family owned for 53 years they told us and it showed.
Colonial Inn is clean and up-to-date, with the expected amenities. Rates are reasonable. We loved the outside room entrances to the first floor rooms that face the parking area. Breakfast was good. We will stay there again when in the area.
What a gem of a hotel! Definitely one of the nicest Best Western Hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff was so nice, very clean room, decorated very nicely, and really good breakfast. We have stayed here twice in the month of October due to a family funeral. Just can't say enough nice things about the hotel and their staff. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
Just a sleeping stop in the midst of a longer road trip, right off I-75. Room was clean, bed very comfortable, breakfast very good, wife even said coffee was okay and she's picky about her coffee. However, they have a few rooms that front Hwy 280 and they don't mention that your room faces all the road noise, so if you're not a heavy sleeper, ask for a room in the back or away from the road.
This hotel Wowed me with upgrades and look. I would however replace the mattress in #248 the bed on the left, You'll see it right away why (BIG dip in the middle, I had to climb out of bed. Other than that this Hotel is great!
Hotel was very dated especially room furniture. Breakfast was very good. Definitely older hotel, no elevator. Location good, Cracker Barrel near by. Room carpet very old n worn. Bathroom small. Many hotels close by
I tried to use Trivago but calling the front desk got the best room rate. I stop at this hotel on almost every trip to Naples, FL. The only problem is train noise in the night. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from in this small town.
BestWestern_101, General Manager at Best Western Colonial Inn, responded to this review
Robert W, We appreciate your business and also you taking the time to review the Best Western Colonial Inn. I do apologize for the train noise and I hope at some point in the near future that Cordele will be a quit community. When that happens the trains will not be able to blow their horns in town. Cordele is working on this now and hopefully it will be put in place soon. Thank you, Terry Cobb
We arrived very late, hotel staff was excellent, friendly and ready for our arrival. The Colonial Inn is an excellent value. We slept well and Cable/WiFi worked great. The breakfast was very good in the morning. Checkout was fast and easy.
Very large clean room. Nicely decorated. Cookies in the evening and the best sausages for breakfast! Loved the TV remote in a bag labeled "fresh remote". The single drawback was lumpy, overly large pillows. Will definitely return.
Excellent motel, great ownership. Can' Wait to stay again. Rooms very clean and modern. Bathroom room clean and modern. Cookies were a special treat. Breakfast was as good as I've had in my travels. Hope this helps.
We always stay here on our way down to Florida and have never been disappointed. The staff is nice, the rooms are clean and comfortable and we know our dogs are welcome. The breakfast is nicer than the typical continental offerings too!
Finding Best Western to be among the small handful of overall good bangs for the buck, and Colonial Inn the watermark of non-lower level locations, around 1am, on a Thursday morning. A broad smooth entrance delivered my Chevy truck under a decently lit overhang, in eyeshot of signage clearly indicating night window service. A very friendly, pretty lady greeted with a welcoming South Georgia twang and cut right to the chase. Registration wheels in motion, she with only minor pause honored both my AAA and BW Rewards, which brought the rate to a more reasonable place than anticipated. Although I did request a first-floor room, since work requires that I safely maintain bulky valuables, not to be left unattended in a highway-side lot- sometimes prompting up to five trips to the vehicle, I unhesitatingly settled with a second floor walk-up in the furthest building, it being among three remaining availabilities at that hour. The necessary drive to the room toured me by an array of milling, wee-hour blue collar workers, typical to near any jump-off-the interstate chain hotel establishment. The front outdoor patios are popular smoking perches for some gruff characters with prison sneers. As I'd been informed, the room was a double at the single rate. It was comfortable, well-organized, reasonably updated, and had an air of cleanliness, right down to the sanitary remote control slip. Breakfast presentation later that morning was done with some TLC, and provided good sustenance for the day, along with the highly-audible morning news television, although I felt deprived after the compact refrigerator stifled my craving for hard-boiled eggs!
Very nice hotel located about an hour south of Atlanta, Friendly staff, clean rooms and good breakfast. Located close to a coupe of very interesting side trips (Andersonville POW camp and Jimmy Carter Historical Site). We will be glad to stay here again.
The pool was under construction. No one told us about that before we checked in. The hotel was nice, clean, and the staff was friendly. It was very close to several fast food restaurants, which was perfect for us.
Easy check in. Friendly staff. Old rooms but relatively clean. Bed was horrible for us. Toilet seat was really loose. Position of toilet was awful. Toilet paper roll is on sink stand so when sitting on toilet It was pressed against upper thigh and contortions were required to get it off the roll. When going to take a shower at 6am the little thing you pull up to activate the shower head came off in our hand. So it was a quick sink wash for us. Very noisy location. It's an okay place for a quick overnight stop but not for us.

All our needs were met. Room could use some updating. It was clean, modern bathroom but just a little outdated. We had a handicap room that had a window into an alley to outside. There was no way that my husband could have gone to the lobby on his own. There is a steep hill from our room to the main part of the Inn. Our dog found some food that was between the bed and night stand, an unopened slim jim. Refrigerator could not be used as the knob to turn it on was missing. Not a biggie and I reported so it could be repaired for next guest.
Needed to take few hours of sleep. We decided to stay at this best western. Room was comfy. Bathroom would be better if upgraded and change old rugs. Got breakfast is available. Would come back. If you heading I75 north Google garbinos Mexican grill, 5 star Mexican food.
Perfect place to stay and relax after a long day on the road. Staff very pleasant. Rooms well maintained and complimentary water was that little touch that impressed us. Breakfast offerings were good.
Booking online was about ten dollars cheaper than by phone. The check-in was fast and simple. This hotel has been updated and is feature friendly with an insightful dual first floor entrance and balcony for the second floor. There is coffee in the room, toiletries, and comfortable bed. Coffee is available in the lobby around the clock, nice breakfast, with an clean first appearance look that did not disappoint us upon further inspection. I give this a 5 out of 5 for "getting bang for the buck." The Hampton across the street would be a step up but a double the price. Great value with good amenities. Will certainly stay again.
Best Western located on hotel row adjacent to I-75. It was within walking distance to several fast food outlets. The hotel and room were clean and comfortable, witheverything working satisfactorily. The breakfast offerings were good, but limited.
I arrived at about 9 pm, and I was tired and wanted to go to the room soon. I was able to go in and relax quickly by the kind and prompt progress of the hotel reception staff. I would like to reserve again if I have a chance next time.
My wife and I have stayed at the Colonial Inn several times, and are always treated to a great stay. The staff is professional and friendly, the facility is clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is the best. We look forward to our next stay.
I used this hotel to break up my ride home after evacuation from hurricane Irma. Everyone was friendly and the hotel itself was very nice. It was convenient to I75 and had many restaurants close by. Would definitely stay there again.
We were only there for one night but was an enjoyable stay. Good area with many restaurants and businesses all around. Very friendly staff greeted us as we walked in. Enjoyed the fresh baked cookies in evening. breakfast room well managed and good selection of food and drinks
This is an excellent hotel that I will return to anytime I am traveling in the area. The staff truly cares about the guests and the hotel is well-kept. The breakfast is fantastic, especially the biscuits and gravy.
A true bargain. It's no wonder this hotel was booked full the last two times I passed through Cordele. Great breakfast. The room was as nice as hotels where I pay 4 times the rate. Great staff. Straight forward pricing. Everyone pays the same rate. No wondering if you paid too much or missed a deal.
Great hotel for the price. Clean room, swimming pool, strong wifi, close to places to eat and good breakfast in the lobby. It doesn't get any better than this, folks. The playground and yards were great too. Good for walking around after a day in a car
We are one of the families that had to evacuate Florida due to Hurricane Irma. It took us HOURS and HOURS to find a "pet friendly" hotel with available rooms. We are SO glad that we took those hours and ended up finding the Best Western Colonial Inn. To begin with, the front desk personnel, though frazzled from all the activity, were welcoming and friendly. The hotel's appearance was really nice. They offered a free breakfast in the mornings. The room was very nice. It looked as if the hotel had been recently renovated. Each room had a little patio (on the ground floor) or a balcony on the 2nd floor, which was a nice touch. The bed was VERY comfortable and the room came with a small refrigerator and microwave. The only downside I saw was that there was no elevator for the 2nd floor and my husband has a mobility handicap...so the stairs were difficult...but because of the evacuation situation and the fact that we couldn't arrive until 11 pm, we were just grateful to have a nice room where our little dog was as welcome as we were! The price was very reasonable as well. There were also many fast food restaurants as well as table service restaurants and several gas stations all around this little gem of a hotel. We would definitely stay here again!
Nice clean room with very comfortable king bed. Coffee maker and fridge. Second floor with no elevator might be a problem for some. Great manager special rate @69.99. REALLY nice hot and cold breakfast selections. Nice pool area.
This hotel met our one night travel needs. The staff was absolutely amazing. The interior and exterior have been remodeled. The rooms need it badly. Our door did not function correctly half the time. In fact, the first set of cards would not open the door but the night clerk fixed that quickly. Our car battery died overnight because we left a cooler plugged in but the front desk found a maintenance man who jumped us off promptly. The breakfast was good.
This hotel has always been really nice. It is clean, and the staff is very pleasant! The breakfast is a full breakfast and the dining area is very spacious. Check-in and check-out is hassle free, and they always address any concerns you may have.
Convenient location. Clean but showing a little wear. Very nice pool area. Front desk staff Debbie was very nice and helpful. Would stay again when passing through area. Pet friendly location helps a lot.
We were traveling home from Clayon GA Solar Eclipse and experienced a ton of traffic, we would not arrive home until 3:30 so we decided to check-in off of your exit. I have been very satisfied with Best Western in the past and booking, com displayed competitive rates. We were very glad that we stopped and spent the night at The Best Western. Breakfast was fabulous
I had an enjoyable stay here for 3 days. My room was tidy and well stocked, the daily breakfast was good and a huge plus, the small patio outside my room's back door was very nice to have, the property was well maintained and the pool is large and very clean. Every member of the staff here is so nice and helpful, incredible service! There was plenty of room and grassed areas to exercise my 2 dogs and there are several fast food eateries, Walmart, gas stations, etc., some within walking distance. 16 East Bar and Grill is exceptional, a really cool restaurant with excellent food. The Georgia Veteran's State Park is 15 minutes away and is a must see!
Staff were the most helpful and caring I've encountered. The facility is nicely landscaped and well maintained. It seems to have been recently renovated. Coffee is always available in the lobby, which has beautiful furnishings, and freshly baked cookies are available late afternoon. The beds and pillows were quite comfortable in both our rooms; the handicap room was spacious and well designed. A very pleasant stay and a great value.
One of the cleanest and nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. Great facilities and superb staff. Rooms were very nice and the mattress was very comfortable. Breakfast was delightful! Highly recommended! AAAAA+++++
Needed a place on the way to Florida. The Best Western in Cordele, GA was convenient and clean. There were plenty of food choices close by and Walmart was just now the street. Breakfast was good. Would stay here again if traveling to Florida.
We stopped here for the night on our way to North Carolina. The room and hotel are VERY clean and have an" old school " feel. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was simply outstanding. We were very impressed on how quiet and well sound proofed the room was. Also it was great to have several food options very close by after a long day of driving. This location will be our regular stop between Florida and NC.
This is an older property just off of I-75 in Cordele, GA in the old-style of a roadside motor hotel. Since we were on the ground floor, parking lot side (not poolside), we were able to access the room from both the parking lot and an inner hallway (which would come in handy if it was pouring rain outside). The check-in was easy as I had made reservations through the corporate website. The folks at the front desk were courteous and professional. The lobby and breakfast area are immaculately clean and reflected a modern décor. Between the friendliness of the staff and the front entrance design, the overall effect is welcoming. Breakfast itself was standard fare, including the ubiquitous waffle iron, but everything was well-prepared and exceptionally well-maintained thanks to the lady who was kind enough to bring me fresh sausages. The swimming pool area looked very nice but there is no on-site fitness room. The room itself, however, was a huge disappointment. You would be hard pressed to find a more eclectic mix of styles, patterns, colors, and textures. It looks like a combination of old furniture from a second-hand consignment shop and whatever might have been on sale at the nearest big box store; the flat screen TV sits in stark contrast to the ancient dresser it rests on. In addition, the workmanship of the installation (caulking, grouting, painting, etc.) leaves a lot to be desired - perhaps the owners did the work themselves rather than hiring professionals. To make matters worse, there is much evidence of shoddy maintenance and upkeep (a cobweb above the lampshade near the bedroom mirror, leaky bathtub faucet, inoperative electrical outlets, paint spatters, crud, and scuff marks). I understand that the hotel is planning further renovations and that most of the interior furnishings are scheduled for replacement (that should be expedited). Sometime during the night, I felt a small insect crawling on my arm – although I didn't open my eyes to check, I believe it was an ant – which was instantly dispatched with extreme prejudice. We called the front desk to request a wake-up call and they seemed totally uncertain which room we were in. Then, when the wake-up call did come, it seemed early because the alarm clock on the nightstand was set for an hour earlier than it actually was; so we ignored the call and overslept. I used some of my accumulated Best Western Rewards Points to pay for the room, thinking that, at 12k points, the room would be quite a bargain. However, after having spent the night, I now believe that truly was all that the room was worth. Had I paid for the room with real money I would have felt overcharged. What is even more disconcerting is that, according to the online ratings, this is the #2 hotel in the area; and you will pay a premium for a better room locally. The design and maintenance of the reception area, along with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, are the only reasons I'm rating this hotel as high as I am. It's not the worst Best Western that I've stayed in (and a long way from the worst hotel) but it's definitely close. Knowing what I know now unless I had a specific reason to stay in this immediate area, I would continue along the interstate, in any direction, to find a better room; even if I had to pay more for it.

Dear JEddleman, Thank you for taking the time to complete the response following your visit to the Best Western Colonial Inn. I am disappointed we failed to handle all of your requirements in a satisfactory manner and I appreciate your constructive critique of our performance. You have alerted us to an area needing attention and corrective action has been taken. We appreciate your patronage ad hope you will stay with us at the Best Western Colonial Inn the next time you are in Cordele, I can assure you we wil do everything we can to make your stay a comfortable and happy one. Sincerely, Terry GM
This hotel is a nice place to stay, we always ask for ground floor because the rooms can be entered from the outside, we stay here when we are in town now because we can sit outside the hotel near our rooms and talk.
Everything works: hot water, wifi is easy, refrigerator, microwave. And I've paid a lot more for places that struggle to provide what you figure is basic stuff. Value is exceptional. Staff is great. I have been to this motel enough times to kinda know some staff and think of them as friends. Breakfast is generous and high quality. Rooms are quiet, though there might be a train from time to time, it's not close. Ask about nearby local restaurants when you are at the desk. Several are within a couple of miles. - There's also a great Titan I missile just off the exit (101) if you are looking for a marker from the interstate.
The stay was great it was group of 25 of us, We had a total of 7 rooms. We travel from Florida to Arkansas and Missouri. they treated us with care. very clean and breakfast was great . The staff was very friendly to us as we was checking in and out.
After a long, frustrating drive south on I75, through a traffic nightmare in Atlanta, it was a relief to check into this Best Western motel in Cordell, GA, at Exit 101. The price was right, the lobby well-kept and clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. As we walked to our room, we noticed the outdoor pool was large, well-landscaped with plenty of lounge chairs. Our room appeared to be recently remodeled and the queen beds were comfortable. Our wi-fi worked well and the room was quiet when we wanted to sleep. In the morning, we were pleasantly surprised to find the best "free" breakfast at a motel in a long time, including scrambled eggs, delicious sausage, grits, gravy, waffles, and the other usual fare. They accommodate pets, as well, although we were not traveling with our dog this time. We will definitely stay there again going to and from Florida-Michigan.
Last minute decision to get a room for rest before continuing our drive to Florida. Had multiple hotels to choose from and are very pleased we chose Best Western. Rooms and beds clean, comfortable and quiet.
Clean room, safe area, close to shopping, great breakfast, fast internet, friendly helpful staff, free cookies, plenty of parking. Great water presure in the shower. Frig and microwave in the room. Clc excepted, nothing bad to say
I stay at this hotel frequently when traveling through the area, its safe, clean, nice location, the staff is always like family, its a great value and in the morning, their breakfasts are a full breakfasts, which gives a great boost to the day.. I travel extensively and know a good hotel. and good value when I see one, this hotel is a 5 star hotel for the value.
We have stayed at this location many times over the years on our way to Florida. We have never found the need to look for another place as this one is great all around. It's close to the interstate and there are numerous restaurants close by.
We were so tired after driving thru Georgia on the way home to Florida from TN and decided to pull into this hotel to see if they had a room. The front desk greeted us with a smile and also said they had a special room price they were offering for the night for only $69.00. We were given a room upstairs with just about everything you would need in a room. The stairs were not a problem for us even though both me and my husband have leg issues. It was a short distance up. The room was lovely. The beds were comfortable with nice linens, pillows, very clean bathroom etc. Lots of towels etc. It was a perfect stay and we had a great night sleep. The free breakfast blew us away. They had the best breakfast sausage. There were eggs, grits all kinds of delicious things to eat. They had so many choices even hot waffles you make yourself with fruit. No body leaves hungry from this hotel breakfast. The coffee, tea and juice were delicious also. The staff were caring and always cleaning up. They got you anything you needed. We love this hotel & staff. We will be back. ATT:: PS_-EXTRA THANK YOU TO NICK NAME HOUSEKEEPER- POO BEAR. She deserves a big raise. She goes up and beyond for the customers and people who stay at this hotel. She was the sweetest!! Because of nice staff like her people want to come back to a hotel like this. She works hard and is an asset for this hotel as are the others on staff. We will be back like I said. Nothing bad to say and it was all perfect! ***Can the hotel manager give us the name of the company where they get the breakfast sausage from?***
Travel 75 several times a year. Always make plans to overnight here. Can't be beat for quality of service and value. It's clean and maintained. Well lit at night. Easy on and off 75. Several chain restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast is worth the stop alone.
Stopped for the night with my 9 yr old on a trip to southwest FL. The hotel was adequate for $90 a night, but it seemed to be the hotel of choice for work crews to stay at overnight. Did not feel like it was a good environment for kids. We checked in at 10pm and had to use a night check in through plexiglass.
We had a reservation for a king bed and they didn't have any, so gave us what was "supposedly" a queen which would have been fine. It certainly wasn't though. Tiny bathroom but not a big deal. As I said, we only needed a place to sleep. Best part of our visit was dinner at the barbecue restaurant.
Nice place to stay w/o any frills. Comfortable bed, nice breakfast, friendly staff. Not a rowdy place where you can get some sleep. I would recommend this place to anyone. This is our fourth time staying here.
The management was very attentive and the room was okay...the only problem was the fridge did not work at all. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was fast, hot and tasty. All the help we encountered was very pleasant and helpful.
Spent only one night. The price was excellent. Debbie at the Front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Included a full breakfast. The rooms were very clean and the internet access was great. Smoking is not allowed on the premises but there were a few folks that smoked anyway.
Beds were wonderfully comfortable and pillows were not flat! My only complaint was the pool needed to be cleaner. The grounds were well taken care of and the lobby was nicely updated. Breakfast was better than some.
I stayed here last year, and decided to give them a second chance. Waste of money. The air conditioner barely worked, stained carpet. When we went to take a shower there was a lot of mold up on the ceiling. That was not good to breath all night and did not see it till the next day when we went to shower. All the front desk did was give me 25. off. Terrible service and a very dirty nasty hotel. Also there was a big crack in the bathtub wall.
The first room balcony door did not lock. The second room the door had to be slammed to close and lock. Semen stains on the sheets very noticeable the towels touched the lifted toilet seat and the drawers are old and off track/.
The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. It was located on the 16th Street side of the hotel which was a little noisy because of the heavy traffic on that street. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of items.
Got 2 queen beds for $83 for the night. Nice size room, with micowave and fridge. Frim bed with 4 pillows. Bathroom had to sinks, 1 outside of the bathroom. Breakfast was standard for any hotel. Over all a nice hotel easy to find off 75 south.
Room was clean and staff was very nice but the beds need to be replaced felt like I was sleeping in a hole. Pool could have been a little more cleaner, the location is great right off of the interstate and very close to restaurants. Cute friendly town. We would stay there again.
Glass doors to entrance from patio or entrance from hallway. Could walk dog in view of the room, could walk to restaurants. Loved the hotel and the location. Front desk girls were super helpful and friendly at check in and check out.
While I was traveling with my dog and family to North Carolina for a vacation we stayed at the Best Western Colonial Inn in Cordele, Georgia. The hotel was very clean and you could tell it had recently been updated. The bathroom was very nice and the outdoor patio which led to a grassy area what's a plus considering I was traveling with a pet. The next morning in the lobby they hosted a delicious breakfast that we enjoyed before getting on the road. I would definitely stay at the Best Western Colonial Inn again if it fits with my travel plans. I'm especially grateful that Best Westerns are dog friendly!
The staff went above and beyond what is required to ensure I had a great stay. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Cordele. They serve HOT cookies and coffee at 6:00 pm and I received a phone call inviting me to come down and participate.
Hotel is close to everything. Walking distance to a variety of restaurants and easy access to and from the expressway. The hotel is surprisingly quiet although close to the expressway. Breakfast has a large variety of items and was very good. My room was very clean and well appointed. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.
Friendly and helpful staff. Very nice and comfortable rooms. Employees take pride in satisfying customers needs. A very peaceful and quiet nights sleep. We will DEFINITELY stay here again!!!!! Really good breakfast with a very nice variety.
We were unable to get an accessible room, so we settled for a first floor room. The staff worked to get us as close to the parking lot as possible. My husband was able to access the room easily with his walker. The room was nicely appointed, good linens and towels. Room had a nice work desk and newer furnishings. There were many restaurants nearby, both fast food and sit-down restaurants. My cell phone did not work in that area. The nice folks at the front desk called the family for us to let them know our location as this was an overnight stop on I-75 (Exit 101). The motel had an excellent sit-down hot breakfast with a large variety of items. Coffee and cookies were available on arrival.
This was an over-night stay on our vacation. Although an older hotel it was well maintained and clean. The front desk staff was very friendly and there was a nice breakfast available the next morning. The pool was larger than normal with a nice appearance and our children enjoyed the swim time while we enjoyed sitting at a table in the pool area. There are several restaurants within walking distance so no need to get back in your car to go to dinner. Wish we driven the extra distance to stay at this hotel on our way back.
Staff very friendly and accommodating. Rooms very clean and up dated. Breakfast was great. Only gave three stars because of bed. Felt like I kept sliding down hill to center of bed and didn't sleep well/ comfortably. There seemed to be a dip in middle of bed..... And no, it wasn't my husband! ;) Then again, I prefer cleanliness to comfort!!!
It was easy to find this hotel when leaving the Interstate Highway and access was also easy which is nice when one is on a long trip. Our ground level room was convenient to the parking lot as well as to the breakfast room..Our bet was comfortable and toom was quiet which meant we ha a good nights rest. The hot breakfast was laid out well and th food was really good. Cost of the room was very reasonable considering the convenience, comfort and quick check-out.
My family and I stopped here on our way to Daytona Beach and it was a very nice location. The lobby was really clean and they always had fresh coffee. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We we got to our room, one bed was not comfortable at all and when I called down to the front desk they were very helpful and forgiving and they switched us rooms, which happened to be right next door. The beds in the next room were much better.
Great place! The room was updated, and very clean. The staff was friendly, and helpful. The price was reasonable. Access was easy, and there were many restaurants close by. I will definitely choose Cordele Best Western when I travel this way again.
We stayed here as part of a trip from Florida to Michigan. It's a good hotel -- clean, quiet, comfortable, good bed, all the basics you look for, though our bathroom did have a drippy tub faucet and two of the three machines in the exercise room were not in working order. Our desk clerk referred us to a "16 East Bar and Grill" restaurant a short drive away -- bad recommendation (see my separate review). If we were to overnight in Cordele again, we would stay at this hotel, but find a better place to eat...... Recommended.........
Convinlent to I 75. Allowed pets which is important to since I travel with my dog. Not happy about the $10 pet charge since some other pet freindly hotel don't have the up charge. Condition of the hotel was above average for the price we paid. Would stay there again.
House keeping staff extremely rude and noisey. No place for anyone working nights and needing day sleep. Have previously consulted GM who assured issue was addressed. Staff continues to hoop, holler, down stairs, from one floor to the next. Completely unacceptable behavior at ANY hotel location.
Stayed at this hotel the past two years on a trip from South Florida to Chicago. The hotel looks somewhat newly remodeled and we had no problems at all. Fresh cookies in lobby upon arrival and fresh strawberries at breakfast were niceties! Everything about our overnight stay was enjoyable.
The place is nice, clean, good amenities for the price. However, we had a problem at 2 AM. No one answered the front desk phone. I finally put on some clothes and banged on the front door. A guy ultimately answered, and gave me a plunger to unplug the toilet. The toilet plugged up twice more later in the AM.
excellent hotel for value, best breakfast for the hotel price range, clean & friendly staff, we were very satisfied, the 16 restaurant down the street was very nice, the coffee & cookies are a nice touch upon arrival. Thanks
It was a wonderful experience and hope to use more of the Best Western Hotels. The food was great for breakfast. The staff were very professional and the rooms were very clean! We were down for a wedding and visit the area often. We will stay at this hotel when we are down for anything in Cordele area. Thanks to all the staff that made a very pleasant time there.
Stopped at the Colonial on our way to and from a visit to Florida. We chose it because we were traveling with our two dogs. It was comfortable enough, not quite as nice as the Marriott brands we usually stay at, and we were given a ground floor room with an outside door, which was very convenient. The staff was very nice and the breakfast decent. A good stop, at a good rate.
There were many hotels available at the I75 exit in Cordele - stay anywhere EXCEPT the Best Western! The Best Western room was not clean - I certainly was not happy with the security levels. had entry from parking lot thru sliding glass doors. No elevator to second story. Toilet belongs in an elementary school.
We booked this hotel through an online site, and I was told our charge included our pet. Upon arrival, we were informed that was not true, so ended up paying additional money. Our lab found a cigarette butt, almost immediately, in our non-smoking room, and when the A/C kicked on, it smelled like cigarette smoke. No one was smoking outside our room, and the odor continued all night. When the air wasn't running, the room smelled sour, as though someone had been sick. The room faced a main, 4 lane highway, and since there was no sound proofing, we listen to really loud mufflers all night. ( Must have been a competition in town.) A train, which I assume is required to sound a whistle when approaching an intersection, ran frequently during our stay, even at night. This happened every 30-60 minutes. Since I wasn't sleeping, I timed it! Other "guests" arrived after 1 AM, and were not in the least, considerate, as there was loud talking outside our door. When checking out, I was asked about our stay, and I proceeded to tell the lady it was definitely the worst night I'd ever spent in a hotel, and why. She credited the $10 pet fee but couldn't do anything about the rate as it was prepaid. Contacted the online booking service but haven't heard from them. Imagine!!

Hi Konasmother, Thank you for taking the time to review Best Western Colonial Inn. I do apologize for the bad experience, unfortunately when you book through a third party website they are the ones that charge your card and then they issue a card with the exactt amount on it to the hotel. Again I apologize for any inconvenience you experienced. Terry
Only time I had wish the air was louder. Staff was helpful, facility nice, location to interstate very helpful, to restaurants very cool, rooms facing road Very noisy and train just disruptive. Is there a noise ordanace after hours?
While on the road....contacted BW and they were very friendly and helpful while looking for a reservation. Very accommodating when we arrived....directions to room......where eating was located and then very helpful with connecting my computer to the internet...actually came to the room to help. Breakfast was very good...great hot breakfast. Great job BW.
This BW is was a relaxing stop on our travel home. The bed was comfortable with ample room space. Breakfast was very good with a nice selection of items. Enjoyed the waffles & special toppings. We will stop here again!
Disappointed in room cleanliness, breakfast items were not being replenished. The one person on duty did her best but she also had checkout responsibilities to attend to. No seating available and you cannot take food out of the lobby so we left without eating anything. We have stayed at this hotel a number of times going to and from Florida, and will not be back. Choose from the many others hotels in the area.
There are good reviews about this place but you have to stay in the newly renovated side. If you get stuck in the old side run! Old, dirty, water dripping all night in the tub, toilet seat broken, etc.

Thank you for your comments concerning the Best Western Colonial Inn. I appreciate your taking the time to review us and hope you will accept my apologies for any inconvenience you experienced. I am disappointed we failed to give you the accommodations and service we strive for with all our guest - the type we pride ourselves in. We appreciate your patronage and hope you will stay with us at the Best Western Colonial Inn the next time you are in Cordele. I can assure you we will do everything we can to make your stay a comfortable and happy one.
Room was big, clean, beds were very comfortable for a good night sleep. It was a very quiet night. The towels were thick to get dried after a shower. Very easy checkin and out. Good selection of breakfast items, had more than once choice of milk. I might have missed it but I did not see any sugar free syrup or jelly. It would be nice if they had these items for a diabetic person. Good location for restaurants. Safe area.
Stopped just for a quick rest and arrived really late. Clerk was still helpful and kind even quickly locating a crib. Nothing fancy, but a good place to rest. Area seemed safe and parking lot well lit.
Stopped here after traveling from Louisville to Orlando for a business trip. They offer a late check in rate and this hotel is clean and clean! If you are making the drive from the Midwest or Kentucky area and heading to Florida break your drive up by stopping here..... This place was amazing !!!!!! Very pleased and happy. Staff was great !!!!! Everyone from the housekeeping to front desk, this property is even superior to the higher priced chains......... this place also has underwent the recent BW updates, new signs , Tvs, furniture, bedding, flooring, breakfast....... lobby updates..... I really think BW is going to surpass the bigger careless chains. Go BW Cordell !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great Job.
Check-in was easy and speedy, we got a wheelchair assessable room so it was comfy and had a large bathroom. Very clean room and updated with nicely decorated room. Mini fridge was cold and operational! Continental breakfast was awesome!!! They have hot coffee 24/7 and fresh cookies the night we arrived. For breakfast they had a feast with, but not limited too, biscuits and gravy, yummy grits, eggs, sausage, waffles, croissants and other breakfast sweets, cereals, cheese, fruit and yogart. And the cutest and friendliest southern women helping in the kitchen even though it wasn't typically where she works. Before continuing our trip from Chicago to FL I we enjoyed a fresh hot shower with great water pressure. The only thing we will tell you to avoid is the McDonald's directly across the street. We ran there for dinner and we waited over 20 mins for our food and half of it was incorrect, they were so slow that I only asked for a portion of it to be fixed because it would take 20 more minutes to redo the meal and they had a ton on people waiting for their food as well and a line of people .... Should have gone to taco bell. Lol
We have stayed in high-end hotels and some real dive motels. We only picked this place because it was the best choice for pet friendly places. It was clean and we did not see any bugs. The bed was okay and the bathroom was small but adequate. A very different experience from anything I have ever had. The room had an adjoining room behind with a peep-hole in it. My wife covered it up. The A/C unit would come on for about 1 minute every 10 minutes. It didn't matter what setting I changed it to. All in all, it was just okay. If I had to stay in the Cordele area again I would try another place first to see if another hotel would be any better, and pet friendly.
Wonderful hotel, great staff, amazing breakfast, super clean and very spacious rooms! Fabulous ground floor patio which opens to the dog walk area where they even provided bags and a trash for your pets refuse! I will make a point of staying at this location again!
Excellent night desk staff. Very pleasant and happy. Less than 5 minutes to check in. Offered a welcome bag with a water and snacks (Diamond Club member). Very good overall experience. Have stayed here several times before and will again.
Room was clean a little small. TV remote very difficult to figure out. Bathtub faucet did not work well breakfast was not bad. Nice thick towels furniture has seen better days edges a little scratched up
When we changed our travel plans, we no longer had access to the hotel chain with which we usually stay. We were traveling along a major highway in a state that we were unfamiliar with, as well. Using our tablet, we accessed hotels in the area that take pets and we were surprised to find that Best Western Colonial Inn in Cordele, GA took our furry baby! Getting ready to accept a marginal hotel that all three of us good sleep in, we were SO SURPRISED to find that this BW was either new or just renovated! GORGEOUS BATHROOM with marble counters (2).......beautiful drapes...... comfy bed and pillows....and more. WOW!!!!!!
This hotel is definitely worth the money. We stop when traveling to Florida. We take our dog and it's hard to find a pet friendly hotel that is also clean without paying a lot of money. This hotel appears to be older but has been renovated and is very modern. The breakfast selection and coffee were very good.
There were not any downstairs rooms except for one under the stairwell. At first did not like the location but it turned out ok. Price was good at $69.00 and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, all within walking distance. Room was ok and clean. Nothing fancy but clean which is important. Bed did not seem comfortable at first but it was ok.
Comfortable rooms, Great People, Great Value, Right off of HWY 75 at exit 101, this is the best stop to get out of traffic or to bed down for the night. The breakfast is wonderful and always fresh. Coffee is always available.
We stayed in room 133. The room was clean. However, the bathroom had been redone, but the water had so much bleach in it that the when the toilet leaked, it bleached the wallpaper. The finishing touches of the bathroom were poorly done. There was a dog red stain on the floor right in front of the TV. The beds were hard as a rock. Although the stay was fine for what we needed it for, which was an overnight stay, I would not stay here again.
breakfast at Colonial BW in Cordele, Ga. is worth the stop there. Everything you could want & more with many tables & sitting areas scattered around the spacious lobby for uncrowded eating. Don't miss their grits & what appears to be, local sausage. This is the best breakfast we have ever seen at a motel
Nice place for a mini vacation ..I went to we are nuts for you and it is sooo wonderfu...great nutso)li.....good size for the price I would come here again. Thumbs up. Quiet area but close to everything. .........walmart, dollar tree, restaurants. ..ect..
This was a great stay for a stop on the way to Orlando. It was just right for the need - family friendly, breakfast was fine, room was clean. Nothing fancy or extra special but hospitable and friendly!
This hotel is reasonable and has always been clean just wish they had a hot tub. one tip though do not get a room roadside traffic is loud. the breakfast is great on the weekend get up there early they get busy and the cook can't keep up.
Check in was easy...... Price was cheap... Location was great with resteraunts in walking distance ....room was dirty and dusty.........our room sliding door on second floor would not slide open and close easily and would not lock........the toilet stopped up. The morning breakfast was ok as long as u didn't want anything hot. The sausage was burnt the eggs were cold and the waffle batter was too thick to come out of dispenser.
Checked in on 10 Oct 2016 as saw the $69 special listed on the billboard when heading back south. The lobby was lovely, the breakfast area was nicely set up, the staff was friendly. Went to my room and found a man sitting in the chair with his feet up on the bed talking on his phone. When I asked if this was his room, he turned away from me. Went to the lobby to ask for another room and they thought that he was the maintenance person and should not have been in that room. Went to my new room which was 'newly remodeled' to discover: 1) no room number on the wall, 2) the dead bolt did not work at all as kept trying to wiggle the door, etc, 3) there was only half the security lock mechanism, 4) the bathroom smelled like mold, 5) when I put my bag on the bed, a cloud of dust flew up. I went back to the desk and checked out after explaining why - and went across the street to another hotel. The claimed I would not be charged and gave me a blank receipt. The charge has since showed up on my credit card. Amazed at the lack of quality in a Best Western as have previously had good luck.
I live on an island in Georgia. We had to evacuate because of the storm Mathew. It was a tense time with all the traffic and not knowing what was going on with our homes. The Best Western Staff was very helpful and pleasant. the room was nice. the people were so nice. Even the housekeeping crew laughed and cut up with us. As we were leaving I saw one of the ladies in the housekeeping crew take the luggage, car seat and a lot of other things out to the car for a customer that had a baby. I saw or heard no one that did not bend over backwards to help.
We were headed to FL, and decided to stop for the night- and we were glad we did! I was impressed with how clean our room was - and I've cleaned houses for 25 years. If you stay there, be sure to get breakfast - free and really good ! Will definitely stay there again!
Spent a night here while traveling. Pleasant hotel at a real good price for the room. room was clean and well kept. Morning breakfast was better than most at this level. Very happy would stay again when passing through.
Saw the billboard on I-75 for $69 per night. Since we were tired from driving we thought we would give it a try. The lobby was beautiful with fresh fruit out in the afternoon and pictures of water. Our room was much nicer than we thought. Do to television issues, a change of cable providers, the maintenance man spent a good deal of time trying to get it working. Then a car hit the sliding door in the room below us. We were given a new room and a reduction in our bill! The warm cookies were the sign that the people who work there take pride in their hotel.
Very friendly staff. Rooms were well maintained and clean considering we were in a pet friendly room. Bathroom well lite and nice, would even accommodate handicap. Outside entry but very secure and in a nice area very well lite. Breakfast was a good hot meal with all the fixens. This will become our stopping place for going South.
We began staying here over 20 years ago when we had a dog. Now dogless, we still enjoy staying here. It is not new but is well kept and they're continually updating. The staff is always friendly. We spent more than double at a Hilton the night before and could not sleep. Colonial Inn's matresses and pillows are much more comfortable. Also no complimentary breakfast at Hilton. Lots to eat at Colonial. You can walk to several places to eat if you need to stretch your legs after a long drive. We are lucky that this is a good stopping point for us when we travel.
It appears that Cordele, Georgia is becoming a popular place to stay for a night or two when traveling on I-75. There are a couple of new hotels which is making this a fairly competitive place to stay. With that said the current rate is $69. If you check in late in the evening you can actually get the room for $59. The hotel was recently remodeled and was very clean and well-kept. The receptionist at the front desk was very friendly. The area felt safe. And they have free breakfast. So, while traveling on I-75 somewhere between Macon and Ocala... You can spend around $100 for a Hilton Garden Inn or between 60 and $90 for a Best Western or Ramada type of hotel. My wife and I elected to save 40 or $50 and stay at the Best Western. If you up opt to do the same I would definitely recommend this particular property as it is very well kept and clean.
The staff is not the same, the air conditioning is not working properly, and there was white stains on a red couch, which appears to be that someone had to much fun. I have stayed at this hotel in the past and it always was a great experience but this experience was the terrible. Also the door does not shut completely and needs to be repaired which I have stated before on previous trips.
Check in was incredible. The staff was welcoming and very efficient. When we got to our room the light was already on and the room was cool. The room was spotless, well decorated, and modern with flat screen tv, fridge, and microwave. Bed and pillow super comfy. Can't say enough about this place. Would definitely recommend. Close to interstate and lots of places to eat. GREAT JOB BEST WESTERN CORDELE!!!!!!
I was very pleased with another Best Western location. Very clean on the inside and out. The staff was great and informative and the housekeeping staff was very professional and helpful. The breakfast they provided was very excellent and fresh. I highly recommend the Cordele Best Western..
Had bad experience. Book 3 days ahead, needing two (2) queen beds, first floor due to double knee replacements. Upon arrival received one queen bed. Only open for 2/bed was upstairs...which is outside (no elevator)...it was very hard on us going up those stairs. Breakfast the next day was a nightmare, totally crowded, hardly any food....they kept running out...just unprepared for the Labor Day Weekend crowd. We were given a discount due to the room mix up. They do need to get a person in the breakfast room that can handle huge crowds and make food fast. We have stayed there for years...probably 15 years. Never had a problem until now. It is close to a lot of eating places, gas and I-75. The employees are friendly and the front check-in area and seating is newly remodeled. It also has a pool. For us they were overwhelmed. If you stay here, make them repeat what you want and call back the day before checking in to make sure you have your right reservation.
Exterior is nice. Lobby very nice. Breakfast buffet very good. Every employee we had contact with was very friendly and helpful. Rooms not so nice. Turned hot water on but couldn't turn off. Jiggled handle around for a few minutes and finally got it to stop. Chair in room swayed when sitting down. Okay if you didn't move otherwise felt like a swing. Patio door had no handle. If you did manage to push it open (with great difficulty) shutting it was no easier. Once shut there was a longish metal pin that had to be inserted through a hole in the door and into the frame in order to "lock". We stay at this hotel more than once a year and have been doing it for several years. We have found each room has its own "quirks". Not sure who did the recent remodeling and who does the current maintenance but it might be time for a change. Did I mention price? It's quite reasonable. Maybe I shouldn't be complaining.
The room was cooled down with the AC on when we walked in. The TV choices were great. The football game we wanted to watch was on. There were enough towels for both of us, the beds were Oh soo comfortable. We stayed right up until check out an we felt welcomed.. not shooed out!
When traveling through this area, I always stay at Cordele Best Western. For a quite interstate highway town, this hotel offers more than big city hotels. the price is affordable, the breakfast is awesome with real food, bacon, sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy and more. The staff seems compassionate and more like family.
If you're passing by and need to rest, that is a good place. The staff at front desk have been helpful and friendly which made the stay more enjoyable. Breakfast was good too and price wasn't bad. I guess I'll try again if chance come.
Nice hotel for the money clean and beds comfortable easy access to highway. Don't drive around area alittle "sketchy". Outside pool area very nice. Walking distance to fast food but don't eat at Captain Ds poor service and food!
This motel was nice, had a nice pool and exercise room. The area was well kept and the rooms clean and tidy. We had no problems here and would stay there again. The location was good too. Nice resturants were close too.
Without a doubt, I would go out of my way to stay that this Best Western motel. I only stopped here because a billboard ad on the highway...but what a pleasant surprise. Wonderful place...very cordial welcoming at the front desk (fresh baked cookies and coffee) Very nice room.....tile, granite, very nice décor and lighting, fast WiFi, and I cannot say enough about the beds!!!! Terrific hot breakfast...biscuits & gravy, grits, Eggs, Sausage, pasty bagels, large assortment of cereal...my 1 night stay was totally pleasurable. If you read my other reviews, you'll see, I travel a lot and "tell it like it is..." Also, a lovely pool setting, very personable employees and a great price!. .
This BW was very dirty & in need of numerous repairs. Staff moved us to a cleaner room after we brought to their attention, but overall, I would NOT recommend anyone stay at this hotel. The only friendly staff was the front desk receptionist who adamantly apologized for the disrepair of room. Dinning area and cleaning staff were unfriendly, ie-did not move carts out of our way at all when trying to load/unload heavy baggage from room.
Very good stay at a great price! They have a decent breakfast with good quality food even if its turkey sausage whitch I think is horible, good grits though. they could watch for late swimmers in the pool and make them leave the pool area, my Dog likes it there also the walking area she loves.
The room was very nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable. At the time we visited they were having a manager's special pricing. The room itself was very spacious. The room had a patio and/or balcony depending on if you were upstairs and downstairs.
Staff was so friendly and helpful though out our stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Shower was great! Breakfast was tasty with all the choices you could want. Being right off the freeway made it super convenient.
Check in was a breeze. Fresh baked cookies and coffee upon arrival. The room was large, clean and nicely furnished. Breakfast was excellent. Had a pool side room with out door seating. NICE! A great place to relax.
I usually have no problems with this hotel. We stay once a month but this past stay wasn't good. We had fleas in out room, we couldn't connect to the internet all weekend and the toilet wasn't fixed from the last 3 times I've reported it. We stay in the same room each month when we stay but the toilet handle has to be held down to flush and then sometimes it still doesn't flush properly.
Taking our 13 yr old granddaughter to Fla and stopped here for the night. Saw the reviews on trip advisor and was pleasantly surprised to find they were even lower priced than advertised. Interior access to our room was nice, and we had a lovely view of the well cared for pool area. The room was large and nicely furnished. The beds and pillows made for a good nights sleep. The bathroom was clean, although the shower wall needed re-caulked in one place. The breakfast is what prompted my 5 star! Lovely lobby area with easy to access coffee bar. Juice, cereal, waffles, pasteries were avail, but the hot biscuits and gravy, eggs and sausage were delightful! Great value all the way around!
I am new to staying at Best Western hotels and again I am please to write a good review. It is clean, reasonable prices, nice breakfast and friendly staff. I move over to Best Western from the recommendation of a friend. I was complaining to him that was tired of the inconsistencies of Wyndham properties. They can be great or they can be a dump. So far Best Western properties have been consistently good.
This was our 5th funeral in 12 months, so having great accommodations made the trip home pleasant. The location of hotel was perfect . The room was very clean and all staff were friendly. We always enjoy the full breakfast, especially the Georgia's Best Sausage. :-)
Picked motel based on internet reviews and price. We stayed where twice on the way to and from Key West. We were not disappointed with decision made. We had three rooms reserved for the night. All the rooms were great with new bedding and linens. Rooms were down stairs and pool side. We were able to sit outside on the room's patio and enjoy the weather. Traveling with a 29 foot cargo trailer and there was ample room to park it on site. Breakfast had cooked items which were tasty and filling plus pastries of your choice. Would stay where again without thinking about it.
Pretty good stay for the price. Comfy beds, clean room (shower could have been a bit cleaner). Did NOT smell like smoke at all (a big plus for me). The toilet paper holder fell off the wall when I used it, and the towel bar by the sink was loose. Full hot (sort of) breakfast. Too much cheese in eggs. Good location near lots of food places. The A/C was adequate, but would have been more comfy a little cooler. Felt like there was a lower limit of about 75 no matter what the setting. Overall good experience; I would stay here again.
Staff warm and friendly. Room adequately clean. Breakfast better than many. I bet sausage was locally produced. It was great. I wish that room had more light. I would not have painted one wall a dark red. I have suggested to hotel that a light fixture be installed above the tub, especially in handicap rooms. Also, use of high light LED bulbs might help. Still, I would stay here again.
Great price, super clean! The room my husband and I stayed in didn't have a T.V., but that's okay we were only there for a night on the way to Florida. The attendant did give us a $10 discount because of the no t.v. super nice of her. The breakfast wasn't too bad, it wasn't 5 star but what do you expect it's a hotel, not a ritz restaurant. Overall we both were very pleased.
Deciding we were tired of driving we pulled off the Interstate in Cordele, Ga. We had checked on line and this Best Western had a really good rate advertised, so we stopped in. The extremely friendly clerks quoted the special rate, the lobby looked clean and updated, so we decided to take the room. The clerks noticed our two grandkids were with us (ages 7 & 9) asked if they liked to swim, which they love, and put us in a pool front, ground floor room for the same price. The room was spacious, clean, and updated, with a nice sitting area overlooking the pool and the nicely landscaped & well maintained grounds. The motel is conveniently located near I-75, shopping and eating places. After checking out the next day and having traveled a few miles down the road, we discovered one of the kids tablets was missing. I called the front desk to let them know we were coming back to find it. When we got there the maid had already stopped what she was doing and had started the search to help us. As I said, the staff is excellent and the motel is one of the best Interstate motels you could hope to find. If you have business to do in Cordele and need a place for a week or you just need a nice room for the night, this is the place to stay. I know if I ever find myself in Cordele Georgia again and need a place to stay, it will be here.
By far this was one of the most attractive BW rooms I have stayed in. Staff was great, the room was stylish - nice prints on the wall, large comfy bed. Staff was very friendly and extremely courteous, would have liked some healthier options for breakfast but this site had more than most BW's I previously stayed with,
Clean, Friendly, Comfortable Bed, Nice place to stop when traveling through Georgia. Not A big tourist stop but nice location with variety of restaurants, stores etc. Welcomed pets, nice breakfast included. Have stayed at this location many times
This hotel is a great find! The staff was so accommodating and helpful that I feel blessed for staying here. If I'm ever traveling through here again, I will definetly stay here. The rooms are very clean and the price cannot be beat!! They have a wonderful hot breakfast to try as well. And did I mention their pool. It is a huge. Unfortunately we were to tired from traveling we didn't use it but it looked fabulous
There is a reason they have 205 excellence. First the price. At the time we stayed it was same price any room. Newly renovated. Clean. Quite. Front desk receptionist was friendly. We had a problem with plumbing and they came up right away and fixed it. You have Hardee's on one side and Cracker Barrel on the other and another restaurant. The breakfast was really good. Not just waffles and cereal. Eggs, grits, sausage, biscuit and gravy. Our new stop on the map!
Excellent Best Western. Well maintained, pleasant staff, and conveniently located to I-75, food, and shopping. Excellent pool. Did not use breakfast, due to schedule; however, the hours were convenient. Internet service was fast and A/C worked extremely well.
Hotel was cheaper than the signs said on the interstate which was nice. The room was very nice and seems to have been recently remodeled. One problem was the AC. It was 75 and very warm and put it down to 70 and didn't help at all. Finally put it down to 65 and it finally started to cool down. Breakfast was pretty good too. I'd stay here again if we pass through again.
Great roadside hotel. Offers a really good, Southern style hot breakfast along with coffee, juices, cereal, etc included with the stay. Room was clean except for some dust behind the bed. Bed was very comfortable and pillows were extra fluffy. Price advertised was $59 a night, which is much less than the other hotels in the area at $130 per night. However, once taxes and fees were added the bill was closed to $80. I would advise asking for a room away from the road. We had one fronting on the main road and it was a bit noisy.
We were very happy with the service we received from the Manager Charlie ... she was very helpful and kind. The breakfast was great and room was very good. The room was clean, much cleaner than the hotel we stayed in the night before. We would definitely stop by here again when we are in Cordele GA
Traveling from Fla., stayed overnight. Rooms are outside entrance. The room was fairly clean, bed was comfortable. Room was small but offered all of the convinces needed for overnight. Problem was our room was next to lobby which everyone had to walk past, so it was extremely noisy, at all hours.
Upon arriving I informed the desk clerk that the sign they advertised was a lower rate then what I booked with aaa. After getting hassled she finally changed it. The bathroom in the room was dirty, hair on the toilet, and a very dirty bag on the back of the door they keep the hair dryer in. The toilet seat plastic was peeling off the top of the seat you sit on. Not worth my money, wish i had stayed another place.
After hours of traffic and power outage we pulled in to a smiling staff. Kids went straight to the pool and adults for dinner. Have stayed in nicer but paid alot more. Breakfast was OK but not spectacular.
After sitting in stalled traffic for over an hour on I-75, this was a nice place to stop for the night. I would definitely recommend it for weary travelers. The breakfast was a nice assortment of hot and cold as well. Beds were comfortable. Pillows too full for my pleasure but I travel with my own anyway.
Was driving from st.louis to florida. Had great rate. Got a first floor room in front. Was a bit noisy due to street traffic initially but got asleep fast. Pool was nice but a bit cloudy. Had to bring towel from room. Remodeled rooms. Fridge good. Limited channels on tv. 2 of three ice makers worked. Front desk people were excellent.went to Cracker barrel close by n dq. For gas, go to pilot on Other side of highway since they were about the only ones not to charge you six cents for credit. Best part of stay was super wow hot breakfast that opens at 6am.
I have been coming to this hotel for close to 20 years, almost yearly, and have never had a bad experience. The whole town of Cordele is very welcoming. Great amenities at a great price! If there was any complaint, it is the limit of tv channels. The internet makes up for it.
We did a quick stop on our way to Florida. We received discounted price for it being in evening. Great price with great beds, which is just what we needed. The staff was very nice and check in and out was fast.
We were exausted and we were looking forward for a relaxing swim. The pool was great. The room clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast was more than what we expected. Great stay! Biscuits and gravey was very good. Grits were a nice touch.
stay here when we go to & from Alabama 2 or 3 times a year always a great place to stay very clean and price is good a/c in room 224 had a lot of noise this time but nothing ear plugs did not fix Thanks Fulton's
This Best Western was good enough. If I had the choice again, I might have chosen rooms that didn't face the main road going in front of the building. Entrance to the rooms was through an exterior corridor and the rooms next to the road picked up a lot of traffic noise. Bed was ok. Breakfast was good. As we left on the expressway the next morning, I was a little perturbed to see a sign for the hotel advertising all rooms $69. I had an advance reservation with an AARP "discount" and was charged $71. Certainly not a big difference, but would have been nice to get the rate they were charging everyone else without advance reservations or a "discount."
Staff went out of their way to be accommodating to my elderly mother. Friendly and helpful. When I left my cell phone adapter in room, they mailed it to me. Room was clean, breakfast was good, and price was right.
I'm not sure what the lady's name was that helped my husband over the phone (5/27/16) but she was very helpful with letting him know that the items (2 rings) that we left in the room, would be there when we go back through GA (6/3) to pick them up. We're very thankful that your staff is very trust worthy and very caring. We're looking forward to staying with you in the future and letting everyone know just how wonderful your staff is and just how caring they are.
Stayed here on my way to Florida. Late check in was not a problem plus the rooms were clean and affordable - comfortable beds & quiet space with free breakfast. The perfect stop between cities when traveling
This was our second stay at the Best Western Colonial Inn in Cordele, Georgia. First when we moved from Tennessee to Florida and now on our way back to Florida from a trip to Ohio for Mother's Day. Cookies are served around 6 pm and coffee, tea and hot chocolate are available 24/7. Great breakfast bar with hot and cold items.
This is the second time we have stayed and I like the remodel but we were placed in a room with a broken toilet and the remote that didn't work. Breakfast was included which was a nice benefit. This was a discount hotel that served that purpose. If you are looking for a stopping place to spend the night...this would be a wise choice, definitely not a vacation hotel.
Second stay in 6 months- very clean and quiet. The front desk staff were special- calling the room to make sure everything was good. Highly recommend for overnight stay. Breakfast buffet great. The pool area was clean and well furnished.
Best bed ever nice and firm but cuddles you and shower for tall people. Nicely decorated extremely clean and 69.00. Great breakfast too. Traveling home from Fla.will have to bookmark this one for next year Right off interstate 75 south of Atlanta. Really nice people at desk too
We stayed here one night on our way home to Florida. The hotel is the best bargain I have come across in a long time. The room was renovated with comfy beds, nice carpet and vanities and a nice patio to sit outside. The lady at front desk was very cordial and gave us great rate of $59.00 per night. I would not hesitate to stay here in the future.
Had a very restful sleep, quiet.Staff called our room as soon as we checked in wanting to know if we had any concerns about the room. Front desk were helpful, breakfast was vry nice for a continenal breakast. Beds were comfortable. WOULD RECOMMEND. Will certainly stay again. Easy to find
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast and room was very clean. Would recommend staying here if traveling through area. We have stayed in the Cordele area several times while traveling to Tennessee and will be returning to this hotel when doing so.
Beds are comfortable!!! Breakfast was great, with a lot of variety and cooked to perfection!! My only minor complaint is the shower head need replacing. Which isn't a big deal seeing how I got a warm shower that didn't turn cold. We definitely will be going back!
Nice hotel with great breakfast included with deal. Have stayed at this hotel several times in past years on my semi-annual vacation to Florida. I would recommend this hotel. I used the Internet site to reserve this hotel and room. Might have gotten a better deal if I had just checked in on the way as the rate was advertised on the bill board at $10 less than the rate on the Internet. I paid Internet rate which was a rip-off to some degree.
For what we needed for the night, this was fine. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast could have been better, but it wasn't bad. However, a few notes: 1) breakfast didn't open on time, and we were left in the morning cold waiting for them to open the doors, and 2) when my key wouldn't work and I went to the front desk to request a new one, they simply handed me a new one when I gave my room number. Well, it turns out I didn't know my room number, and ended up accidentally using the key they gave me to open the door to a stranger's room. It wasn't until I went back and stated my name that I got the right key, but I was horrified on several levels, first that they didn't bother to confirm my identity when giving me a key, and second, that I opened the door to an unknown room! Nothing happened but it didn't assure me of the hotel's security.
I travel from Kentucky and always try to make it to exit 101 so that we are able to stay at this hotel! friendly staff, very clean, updated and affordable. Some of the rooms have patios or balconies. Nice grounds with a pool. The breakfast is good.
Stopped overnight on trip between Orlando and Asheville. Clean, convenient to Interstate. Decent hot breakfast. Warm chocolate chip cookies when we arrived. Friendly staff. 10 mi to the west is Blackshear Resort. Very nice spot for dinner with a lake view. I'd do it again.
We had two connecting rooms that were very comfortable. While the Inn had recently been refurbished, there were several items needing attention, such as the broken finial on the bed and a loose tile in the bathroom, but all seemed clean and the staff are very welcoming.
When the price fits my budget, sometimes the facilities are drab or sketchy. I had their info pulled up on my phone for one weeknight, and it had a price of $72. Desk person advised me of "Manager Special of $69! OK it is only a few bux but every penny helps. Ask if they have a manager special! So I took a chance, with past reviews talking about renovations. I pulled in with a popup camper behind me. They gave me horizontal parking so I didn't have to unhitch and make everything side-by-side. I come with 65 lbs of extra baggage: a real honest to God, service dog. Never batted an eye. The have sections that are pet restricted (for comfort of the highly allergic), and sections that are likely to have had previous animals. We got in to the new, and refurbished part of the motel. This referb is not a superficial slap of paint, and an extra vacuuming. The referbed rooms are typical in size. Small table, two chairs. Amenities were NEW 7 qft refer, NEW microwave, and something else...maybe coffee (it is scandalous, but I don't do coffee--I know--weird). Room was maculate! Beds appeared to be new, linens great, tv is 32 in so if you are used to really big tv's it might not meet your expectations, but it was fine for me! Lots of hot water on-demand, fluffy industrial towels of good quality. For real clean bathroom! Ten minutes after I checked in they called to make sure it was satisfactory. Wow! Advertise "Free, Fast Internet," well the truth is it is free, adequate, internet. I needed to charge and there was a problem getting juice, called, 3 minutes later the desk clerk was at my door and fixed the issue in 60 seconds! Very gracious. There is a yard back from a really nice pool, where they expect you to toilet you dog/s but the have bags and a nice poopy station. Thoughtful. There are also some kid swings and leisure furniture near the swings, in the shade. This place is across the street from a $139/night Hampton Inn. I like the mgr spcl better. Now the entrance to your rooms was from outside, and Hampton had inside corridor entrance, but for the price I was HAPPY. CAUTION: the night before was a weekend and conventions had every hotel biiked for miles. My family traveling then was sadly having to drive on because there was no room anywhere for any price. So, you might want to call ahead rather than "winging it." Exit 101, Cordele. From N going S you would exit and turn right with motel on left. Going N fr S, exit, turn left, cross bridge, motel on left. AM Breakfast: I figured stale muffins and cereal. No Way! Fresh yogurts, scrambled and HOT eggs, gravy, biscuits and coffee pastries, fruit, sausages served hot! AMAZING breakfast. Tables to eat in the foyer or take it back to your room. As you can see, I was treated super well, and I appreciated it too. Class AA in my book. I would definitely consider staying here again. Great job, Best Western!
Not a huge room, but very adequate and nicely decorated. Comfy bed and good pillows. Friendly staff at check in/check out. Refilled the fresh cookies when we came to get and they were out--nice touch on arrival. Very nice breakfast with lots of choices. Would prefer a little lower cost, but would stay here again when passing through.
I made our reservations online but followed up with a phone call. I wanted to make sure that they received our request for two first floor rooms was possible. We we got there we were please to find the rooms side by side with excellent parking. Thanks for the service.
Animal friendly motel. Traveling with 4 pets (2 dogs & 2 cats) is hard to find a place to stay where they will accept over 1 pet. This motel didn't mind and staff went out of their way to help with the large carrier we have for the cats. We usually stay at La Quinta but there was none in this area so chose this motel, Very glad we did. Room was clean no scents from previous pets. Breakfast was above average for a buffet. So if you are traveling with pets this is the motel you might consider. Will definitely stay here again.
an awesome place, clean, decent, great staff, great breakfast, great value for the buck. Staying here was as comfortable as staying in my own home. The staff was as hospitable as family would be. I had a great experience while staying here, and will return
Reserved online, checked in very late, courteous staff, comfortable room, good night's sleep, up early, easy internet access, and good warm breakfast! Only took us 45 minutes to get to Plains, GA to attend former President Carter's Sunday school class!
We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were redone recently and were well done! This facility is dog friendly and has a nice dog area, playground, and swimming pool. It is an old hotel that has been upgraded and is very nice for the price. Breakfast was nice for a complimentary addition.
One night stop for our family of four on our way to Florida for spring break. Good room, convenient parking, great breakfast. I love the antiques sprinkled about the property. We would definitely stay here again.
Would definitely stay here again. Convenient to 75, but no highway noise to keep you awake all night. Comfortable beds, the lower level rooms have patios which made it easy to pull the car right up. Very good breakfast selections, better than most places, and plenty of seats and tables.
Great place and just off and on the I-75. Gas fill up right there, as well as restaurants and Walmart. Room has indoor and exterior doors. Personally didn't like the dog poop some irresponsible owner neglected to pick up, but we had a terrible storm the night before and perhaps that was the reason. Room clean and staff very helpful.
My husband and I are staying here on our way to Gatlinburg Tennessee. The sign says newly renovated and it definitely is. Very nice and clean. Good-sized rooms too. I would highly recommend this hotel.Very good rates as well.
Traveling to FL and stopped near Andersonville. Excellent room, service, and rate. IF there for supper try out the Daphnie Lodge. Breakfast was much better than I anticipated and definately saved us a little money.
The signs on I-75 led the way. We were exhausted after nearly 12 hours and needed a spot for the night. This property had many billboards along the freeway pointing us in the right direction. We were skeptical at first, but upon arrival, all the doubts were gone. The lobby was warm and welcoming with a rustic atmosphere. The staff was very charming and helpful. The rooms were dated but beautiful and best of all spacious! Our room had two entrances, a sliding door which led to the parking lot, the other door to a hallway which led to the lobby. Again, the room was dated but clean, the beds very comfortable. The free breakfast was delicious and well stocked, you didn't feel cramped, there was lots of room to move around on the breakfast area. We were happy with this property, pleasantly surprised actually!
Easy on & off I75. I liked that we could be very close to our door. No lugging our luggage far. The room was very clean & the bed was very comfortable. The price was very reasonable. Definitely would stay there again.
better than expected, for the price! The breakfast was "ok", but presentation good, value good! Saved money and time eating at hotel. The room AC was difficult to manage but nothing to call room service about. Overall, excellent stay! would recommend, would stay again.
Stayed one night on a trip. Room was newer, clean and relatively comfortable. Spring break week so most the hotels around were well over a hundred dollars and we got in for much less. No advanced reservation required. Free breakfast and coffee is a nice touch to start the day. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Rooms are a little noisy, there were some guys drinking outside that were loud but not necessarily the hotels problem. Perfect place to stop, we felt safe and had a clean room with no major issues other than the noise. Give it a shot.
Not bad for passing through to get to Florida free wifi and breakfast nice ... Not bad prices either we will stay here again comfort bed and room was clean what more can you ask for in a best western plus there are restaurant around the area too so two thumbs up way up???????? lol
Tired motel. Clean enough but very dirty floors and needs a good deep cleaning. Good beds and Wi-Fi. Friendly staff, OK+ breakfast. Nasty smoking area right outside the breakfast area door. Probably worth $72. Highway signs state "all rooms $65". Would stay again only in a pinch.
This is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. Very clean, comfortable, modern and easy to find. Close to I-75 and within a reasonable distance of the Jimmy Carter Boyhood Home, his school and Andersonville National Historic Site. Lots of places to have dinner close by. Complimentary breakfast was great with eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy and grits. Tip...the room is less expensive if you make your reservations with the hotel directly instead of online. They also honored my request for a lower level room. My room had an outside and an inside entrance. I will certainly stay here again.
The room was clean and, although quite small, was fine for an overnight stay. There was a sliding patio door which was an entrance from the parking lot as well as an inner hallway door. The only real negative was the air conditioning unit was very noisy. There were lots of breakfast choices. Everyone was friendly and helpful. It was a good value.
Newly renovated, clean, modern and an excellent value for the money. We recommend this stay to anyone with comfort in mind. The outdoor pool is large and clean.. too cool for us to go in but in the warmer months it would be great. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The hot breakfast was very good and is a good way to start your day of travel.
This is a convient hotel right off of i75 on the way down to Florida. When we got into our room, there was no toilet paper so we had to go back down to the desk to ask for more. Got back up to the room to realize there was no klenix either, but by this time we were too tired to go back and ask for that. I felt safe there though, which is a priority for me. The upstairs bedrooms have an semi indoor entrance, and a sliding glass door on the other side of the room with a balcony. Breakfast was really good, lots of options. All in all, I would stay here again. Paid $69 plus tax which seemed to be the cheapest price at that exit that had good reviews
This was the nicest hotel experience we've had in the last year. We travel with our dogs and sometimes give up a lot to be able to keep them with us. The room was large. We were furthest from the lobby and the internet in the room worked great without any problems. The breakfast was hot, plentiful and good. Best mass produced grits we've had!
I honestly cannot believe there are actually good reviews for this hotel. Filthy dirty, smelly, tired and worn, and quite frankly gave my wife the creeps to sleep. Our friend in an adjoining room received a nasty bite on her neck in the night. I cannot believe this hotel is a Best Western. I travel continuously, and thus was nasty.
We had a very short stay (midnight to 6am). Check in was smooth, the lobby was clean and bright and the breakfast was OK. The room could use a little TLC, but otherwise was fine. A good value. I would stay here again if I was passing through.
Room nicely furnished but on the small side and somewhat cramped with more nice furnishing than the room could comfortably accomodate. Otherwise stay was nice and enjoyable and up to Best Western standards.
enjoyed stay, would use this motel again, have stayed here many times when traveling through this area.also stay at best westerns in other locales.breakfast service and food was very good.the coffee they have is probably the best I have had anywhere.
There should be more hotels like this. Remodeled clean rooms. Very nice people and the breakfast was the best. Can't say enough. Forget the high priced neighboring hotels, this is perfect for one night while traveling along I-75.
I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past, and am very glad to see the remodel of the hotel. Rooms are looking very nice now. The also offer a great free hot breakfast in the comfortable lobby. Staff has always been friendly, and the rooms clean & quiet.
We found our room to be clean, with a very comfortable bed. The pillows were a little too large for me, but might be perfect for others. The breakfast was well done and very adequate for us. Although this is an older style motel with outside room entrances, the room we had was on the inside corridor and was very quiet. I would be happy to stay here again! Staff was friendly and helpful.
We have stayed at this hotel several times on our trips to Florida. We have always been pleased with the room, staff and quality provided. There are many acceptable restaurants located near the hotel to dine at. We like the fact that the hotel is not far from the interstate.
We travel between Michigan and Disney World often, this is one of our favorite places to stay. Always find the hotel clean, the staff friendly and the breakfast good. I am gluten free so I don't depend on being able to find much for myself but my husband enjoys breakfast. Always have the laptop with us and hate staying someplace where the internet doesn't work. Can handle slow (slower than home).
We had a room at the end of the bottom floor it was very clean housekeeping was very good. The continental breakfast was great also if we come back to Cordele we will stay there again. The desk clerks very friendly at giving us a bottom floor because I ask for one. So I want to say thank you for a great stay.
Love the layout. Hall interior entrance and patio entrance. Rooms a little small but nicely furnished great beds. People that work here extremely friendly and helpful. Huge hot breakfast. Restaurants close by. Pet friendly with nice field to walk dogs. Will be back.
Have the opportunity once a year to stay at this property. Every time I stay it seems to get better. They have done renovations and the lobby and breakfast area look great. Deb at check-in was great, very freindly and eager to meet my every need. The rooms were very clean, quiet and the property is very safe. Breakfast was good with lots of variety. Can't wait to come back.
Unfortunately, the room was not what expected. Overall cleanliness was below grade. After not getting to check in until after 2:00am, it was exhausting to be woken up at 7:30 am to housekeeping vacuuming hallways and knocking on doors to start cleaning rooms. We will not stay at this hotel again.
Stayed in Cordele, Georgia for the third time at this hotel. Rooms are average but very clean. The beds are comfortable and the room has all the amenities. Fridge, microwave were clean and the fridge was on so when you put something in it, it stayed cold. The breakfast was hot and fresh. Coffee was excellent. All rooms are the same price, so you don't feel like maybe you payed more than somebody else because you didn't ask for the proper discounts. I would stay again.
I would recommend highly. Clean comfortable room. Lobby is attractive and staff could not be more inviting and helpful. Convenient location. Wifi signal was good. No comforters on bed like some other motels that rarely clean them. Room was clean and everything worked. Breakfast is rather surprising in a good way. Room prices are cheap but the quality is rare - at their current rates. My first time as a guest. Very pleased overall.
How the rating on trip advisor is so high is beyond me. This is an old motel which is in need of some serious updating of rooms etc. I guess you get what you pay for. The electrical receptacles were old and loose and would not hold the plugs in. Then there was the issue of extension cords running around the room. The alarm clock was not working , the bathroom stool was very low even for me a short person like me and the shower head was up at the top by the ceiling. The T.V. worked once you figured out how to work it as the room "Welcome Book" was out of date with its information. If you want to work out after a long day on the road you will need to walk two blocks to the fitness center. Call and check their hours because the ones in the book are not correct. The morning breakfast had cold eggs and things were so crowded together it was hard to see what was available and get to it through the maze of people. The cleaning staff smoked on duty. On the plus side the beds were comfortable.
Really, really like this one. From the wood panels in the lobby on. Folks are very friendly. Homemade cookies in the lobby with constant coffee. Room was very neat and "oh joy" the pillows were large size. You can't understand unless you've slept with the new little ones hotels have now. Bed was comfortable. Shower nice. Breakfast was very good. Eggs, large smoked link sausage, grits, biscuits and gravy, fruit cups, etc.. Coffe was very good to. This will be our new go to place on trips south. Not sure of price, we got a special deal through an app.

As part of our trip to Florida we have found this Best Western to be one of the top hotels on our route, especially since we are travelling with a small dog. They have rooms with corridor doors but also with doors out to the garden areas....especially handy for pet owners. Overall the make over of the lobby and breakfast buffet area last year is wonderful. It is a pleasure to visit.

Stayed here for $70 on an overnight between Orlando and North Georgia. Hotel was easy find right off highway. Staff was pleasant, parking easy, rooms were clean and updated, most important to me was the bed was comfortable! Breakfast in the morning was on par with Perkins for quality and check out was a breeze. This will be my go to place from now on!
Stayed here on the way to Florida. Front desk person very nice and accommodating. Room was average, but the decor made it seem very dark. Lights over the vanity did not give enough light, but the room was clean and adequate.
Hotel was a good value and clean. Grounds were well kept and clean. Furniture had inconsistent quality (we had two rooms). rooms were light on electrical outlets. This was a good value and we would stay again.
A clean well run facility. Staff is second to none. Have stayed at this facility four times and have never had any problem. Staff goes out of their way to insure each guest is treated very special. I am sure that when we make our next trip South we will again stay at Best Western in Cordell Ga.
Satisfactory for an overnight stay traveling to Florida. Convenient access to/from 75 with several restaurants and gas stations in the vicinity. As other reviews mention, the rooms are fairly dated and in need of some attention. The room was clean, but beds were saggy in the middle and pillows were soft. Other reviewers also mention issues with water dripping in the bathroom; ours was no exception. There was a steady stream from the tub--we couldn't shut it off. It was a bit of a distraction throughout the night. We had to run the exhaust fan to drown out the water noise. Our room was on first floor on the side opposite the reception area--strange layout with a door to the outside (convenient for unloading) and a door to an interior hallway. We didn't notice any train noise; however, we were there on Christmas Eve, so perhaps there was less traffic that night than others have experienced. Breakfast was nothing special; typical continental-ish fare. The price was decent and made this a place we would consider again on a return visit.
Stayed here for one night on our way driving down to Florida for family trip Dec 19th. Not much to say about the hotel, as the title suggests, satisfactory hotel to stop for the night. Good access off the I-75 and good exit for amentities - lots of gas stations, restaurants, necesity shopping. Stayed on the second floor at the rear of the hotel. Room was a little run down and a little weird - no closet or anywhere to hang anything. Beds were comfortable but pillows were poor - big and fluffy. Shower did leaked slightly but I was able to get it to stop. Had to unplug the fridge due to noise, definitely been here a while. I guess that probably sums up the hotel period. Hotel does have an outside pool but I do not think it is heated. Breakfast was good and I think that is the most positive thing about the hotel. Staff were good too. Worst part was more with respect to the area and exit - lots of train noise at night and I mean loud. Must be some major train junction because horns were blaring till basically slightly past 11:00pm. Not the best for weiry travellers or business people needing a good nights sleep prior to the presentation. I would suggest, this would effect a few of the highway exits in this area so if the most noise you can stand for sleeping are crickets chirping, then keep on driving. On the other hand, if you need back ground noise to get to sleep, this area will work out well for you :).
Hotel has roaches in the room. Found three in the morning while brushing my teeth. Reported to front desk as I was checking out. Not sure if anything was done. IF I had seen them when I checked in I would have left and found another hotel. Wasn't seen until that morning
This was a quiet, comfortable stay. Could have used a bigger selection of pillows but bed very comfortable and very close to I-75 but not too close. If you are looking for a good cup of coffee, pass this one up but that is not the reason for the stop so we over looked it. Good breakfast and welcome cookie.
Condition of room was not good. Very old and dated furnishings. Not clean...tile floor was sticky, moldy around shower, bit of trash on floor of bathroom. Have stayed here in that past and were very satisfied, but not this time. On the plus side the staff was very professional and friendly and the bed was comfortable.
This hotel "got the job done" so to speak. The front desk personnel were professional & pleasant. Freshly baked cookies @ 6:00 pm. Room layouts are a bit strange with both an interior and exterior door. Exterior doors lead to the parking lot with a sliding glass door. Rooms showed a few signs of wear and tear but, clean! Breakfast area was clean and well stocked. We'll stay here again!
This was a flawless experience. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Cordele, Ga. We had excellent service and everyone was extremely polite and professional. Beds very comfortable, breakfast was excellent, rooms and halls very clean. I could not find anything if I tried to complain about. Thank you for a great stay.
We were lucky the first time we stopped at The Best Western Colonial Inn in Cordele GA on the way to Florida. When we discovered the spacious room with breakfast, wifi, frig and comfortable beds, with a patio, patio chairs all opening onto the pool, we made a point to make this our place to stop on each trip. It has everything we need in a hotel stop over when traveling. I have recommended it to friends who travel to Florida.
Older remodeled place not much room in bath shoes head a little low but the beds were comfortable and clean the place was quiet and the lady at breackfast was fantastic very caring and extremely cordial I would stay there again
We only spent one night on the way home and the Colonial Inn was a welcoming stop. Rooms were clean and quiet. The bed was great. There were many restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was fairly standard these days.
I haven't stayed in this Best Western for several years. It's beginning to show it's age and there are also a few quirks that I didn't remember from past visits. The rooms are still generous and as clean as you could hope. The wifi works well. The staff is very cordial. Breakfast is standard motel fare. The bits that surprised me... that's more interesting. When I walked in I saw 6 long guns on the wall behind the reception desk. That got my attention. In the corner was a stuffed pheasant. I think I should have remember that stuff. Maybe it's new. Also during breakfast we were treated to Fox News. Yes, there's a message here. I had also forgotten the trains. They whistle throughout the night.
Wonderful place for pups. Large grassy area. Ask for ground floor. Staff were cordial, room was clean, had a microwave and a fridge. Great place for a good night's. Glass doors going out to green area. Breakfast is free with belgian waffles. Coffee in the room.
Hair in both beds. Extremely dusty. Bathroom door couldn't close fully. Floor sticky. Old mattresses. So uncomfortable. Couldn't sleep keep rolling into the center of the bed. They did come down and change the sheets and comped the room. Nice staff. Nice lobby. Breakfast area was clean.
This is the second time I've stayed here in the past year and it's still the best value around. I would recommend this location to anyone. It's not a place I'd go on a honeymoon or anything romantic but for a good night sleep & shower while traveling for business it's always perfect.
We stayed one night while traveling south and were very impressed. They had everything we needed and were pet-friendly at a great price. We've stayed at some doozies while making this trip over the years so we were really happy with this find. We'll definitely stay here again!
Front desk was very nice. We had a room facing the road, heard traffic noise all night. Beds were on the soft side, breakfast was ok. If you stay there make sure you get a room in the back part of the hotel.
Really a Great Best Western, Clean, Affordable, Convienient to many resturants and places to see. They go out of the way to make you comfortable. Awesome Breakfast! Great and caring staff all through!
The lady at check-in was efficient, friendly, and made us feel very welcome. The phone call from the front desk to make sure all was ok with the room was a nice touch. T he room was clean and well stocked. The hot breakfast had lots of choices, food well cooked and a pleasant set up for enjoying breakfast. Would stay here again if in the area.
The Best hotel we have stayed at in years. Hotel staff from desk to housekeeping was great and breakfast was excellent. If passing through Cordele Georgia a must motel to stay at, will stay here every time we pass through.
very politely helpful staff on arrival and departure. Room needed some proper cleaning attention as dust balls were visible. Perhaps a new housekeeper needed additional training. Overall not to bad, however noticeable. bed Mattress was to soft for anyone with back issues.
We normally love Best Western but not this one. All I can say this place needs a good cleaning and scrubbing. Very old uncomfortable bed and terrible wi-fi connection. We took an evening walk and were followed and harassed by some punks who were actually hanging out in the rear parking lot of the hotel. It was also quite noisy and we had to put in ear plugs. The plus points are that it is pet friendly and had an excellent breakfast bar. I had asked the front desk clerk if the pool was heated and she assured me it was but when I jumped in it felt like it was 10 below zero. On our next trip through Cordele we will avoid this motel.
On the way to FL. on a Monday night our stay was very pleasant. Absolutely no issues. However, on our return from FL. our stay was quite different. The container by the outside door was over flowing with garbage. The doggy poop bags were jammed into the holder so they could not be pulled out. The breakfast buffet is good, but, both waste containers in the buffet area were over flowing. This was disturbing because it so near to the food. The train tracks are just across the road which makes for a very disturbing sleep, but this is not the fault of the hotel. It was attractive because they allow pets, but I will have to find another stop in the future.
This hotel and room was clean, the staff were very friendly and professional. Beds were comfortable, the breakfast adequate. My caveat is the noise. If you stay here, try not to get a room facing the road.
We made the spur of the moment decision to stay here and were pleasantly surprised with the service, value, and condition. We were pleased with our decision and have already made plans to stop here on our next trip.
It is a wonderful place to stay. The family was very satisfied. We all slept well and this includes as 2 year old. We will most definitely stay again. It was convenient to where we were touring. Restaurants close by. And there was Wal-Mart and all our our favorite stores right at hand.
Only there for a one night stopover on a long trip. Bed was very comfortable! That's the most important thing. My only real complaint was that our room faced the street and nearby interstate. It wouldn't have been a problem if the AC had a "fan only" setting so that we could have the white noise drown out the street noise. Usually I have a white noise app on my phone but I left my charger in the car and we were not able to park anywhere near the room so I just did without. In hindsight I should have gone for the charger! If it had been the same comfy bed on the back (quiet) side of the building this would have been a 5star budget stop.
This is my husbands home town so we stayed for the weekend! Very nice clean rooms with comfortable beds! Although we did not have breakfast there it was offered as part of your stay!! The only suggestion I would have is a laundry facility like other Best Westerns have! Otherwise a nice place to stay!
I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! We stopped very late on our drive north to spend a short overnight and wished we had longer to enjoy the comfortable beds, clean rooms, and delicious breakfast. From the moment the lady at the reception greeted us to our departure, we were treated with nothing but smiles and welcoming hospitable attitude. They take great pride in the beautifully renovated and spotless hotel. We were so impressed and highly recommend this Best Western. If you stay here, you have to try the sausage at breakfast, I'm not kidding!!
Just 1 night stay for a reunion but I will use this hotel again if I need a place there. Excellent breakfast. Free to. Soft King bed. helpful staff /front desk and housekeeping Good wifi signal free as well.
We stopped here last fall because we were tired. This year we reserved a room. Great staff, fresh cookies and coffee at check in. The room is a little out dated but clean and comfortable. One of the better breakfasts in the chain. Nice pool. We'll stay again.
We stayed here after a very long drive back, from Orlando. The hotel was very clean and up to date. We had a good night sleep. The hotel is near by shops and some nice places to eat. Movies are just up the road. we will stay again.
Friendly staff, better than average breakfast (not perfect, but plentiful choices), clean hotel room for a modest price. This is an old school property with some updates. Our rate included breakfast and free wifi. While the hotel and mattress wasn't new, it was clean, welcoming, and felt safe.
I had stayed at this hotel last year on my way back to FL. Did the same this year but I felt like I was in a different hotel. Got into the room and started to take a shower only to have it clogged and having to stand in dirty water. After closer inspection there were spider webs all around the corners of the room and hair on the title floor. I was so tired and wanted to sleep but there was no way in a room I felt dirty just being in. After 30min from check in - I checked out. They gave me a 20% discount for my troubles but I still feel angry. That was the most expensive dirty shower I have ever had. I'm giving two stars because a year ago the room was great and clean. Not going to stay there again.
This is a decent hotel if you are driving trough Cordele. Close location to the freeway, "breakfast" included... It is pet friendly, but the rooms are better than many other hotels whom does not take pets. Non smoke rooms .. are non smoke rooms. Once more, better than many other hotels on the same category.
An older property which has been revitalized. However had an over eager dog next door as the owners were away, but issue was resolved upon their return. Animinal friendly facility. Rooms were neat and tidy and for the amount they were charging, it was a very good deal.
Yes we were tired and arrived late but the young lady helped us out with a room at a discount but home made oarmeal cookies and fresh coffee she was a doll. Great room fo the night near the front and a complete breakfast and service was wonderful.
This is the second time to stay here. It isn't comparable to a luxury hotel but for the price it is great! Clean room, friendly and accommodating staff. Hot breakfast included. Right off of the freeway. There is one traffic noise and trains, which I find soothing. But if noise bothers you, you might reconsider. We asked for a late check out and they allowed us to stay until 12:30 instead of 11:00.
Room was Peaceful, very pleasant, very friendly staff, warm welcome With Hot coffee and cookies! Breakfast was 1ST rate. Milk was the coldest i have ever drank. It was a wonderful stay.We look forward to the next visit.
What a dump. Stinky and run down. My room smelled like dog vomit. I couldn't get another room because the hotel was sold out and in fact, the entire town had no availability due to state fair being in a nearby town.
I stayed at the Best Western in Cordele Ga. one night and was very pleased with my stay. The room was updated and very clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. I had a comfortable bed. I would definitely stay again.
We stayed here this weekend and had a great experience. Rooms were clean. The front desk, Charly, was very pleasant and helpful. The only issue we had, at no fault of the hotel, was the visitors that checked in about 330 am and was very loud. Other than that we had a great experience and they're pet friendly which was great for us. We'll definitely be back. There is some road noise but all hotels have that unless they're in the middle of nowhere.
Constant road noise and train noise throughout the night ruined what otherwise is a pleasant motel. Price was good but halfway through the night we understood why. There are many other chain motels in the immediate area and I imagine they all share these problems. We will never stay in Cordele Georgia again.
I love Best Western overall, but the quality of service we received at Cordele, Georgia was exceptional. We travel from Michigan to Florida around the first of October and during the Christmas holidays. We are sure to make this a stop on our way back to Michigan and visa versa. It is very clean and the breakfast is great! The internet service was excellent as well.
Stopped here on our way to Gatlinburg. It was late and was still greeted wirh a smiling face. Very large room, clean and beds were comfy. Lighting in the bathroom area could have been brighter. Breakfast was good and hot. Friendly staff. We usually have good luck at any Best Western we stay at. Thanks.
We arrived around 1 am and we saw the signs on the highway for the great special and renovated rooms. Through a glass window ( I understand because it was late at night) he told us we only have one room left on the first floor. We paid and entered the room. We were happy to get a room close to the door so we could unload our car. The room was clean so we were surprised by the strong odor and were too tired to move. We left in the am and the breakfast was great. The lobby was also renovated and clean. I told the front desk lady that our room had a terrible odor and asked her if someone could please check on it. She only asked if I wanted a copy of my receipt.
This Best Western is the best of any brand place that we have ever stayed with. From the time we checked in until the time we checked out was a 100% great experience in all ways. The people were fantastic, the facilities were wonderful, the breakfast was yummy, everything was perfect. An exceptional place to stay!
The reviews here made me decide to book a room for an overnight stay, last minute, on our way to Florida. Needless to say, it did not live up to the hype. This is a motel with the external room doors. Some do have "inside" hallway entries. Upon entry through a really tall door, we were hit with the musty smell. While the rooms have been "renovated" it wasn't very thorough. The beds are horrible. The sheets were clean but the mattress was saggy and lumpy as were the pillows. They repainted and threw carpet down but don't accidentally look behind/under the beds. The visible area was clean, though, besides the air conditioner and balcony door. The air conditioner unit was blowing dead bugs into the room and we found them on the flat surfaces. This also seemed to be part of the reason for the musty smell. The bathroom was decent but due to adding shelves to the shower, it was very narrow. They did add the curved shower rod but that only caused the shower curtain to be too short and get water all over the floor. The continental breakfast was good. We called to reserve the room and was told it was $79 but all the highway signs said $69. When mentioning this, the front desk staff adjusted our price which was nice. Overall, you get what you pay for.
