We stay there every year for a reunion that is nearby. There are about 20 of us. And they are always very accommodating to us. Very nice hotel with good breakfast. Also, great hot tub, seasonal pool and fitness center. Our rooms were for the most part close to one another. Will return next year.
The staff accused me of having a “bag of weed” and smoking marijuanna in the room. Well I drove back to see what they were talking about is I know I didn't leave a big of weed nor did I smoke in the room. I guess they weren't counting on me being in the parking lot when they called me because when I went back inside they could not produce the bag of weed. Then the smell magically disappeared. There were no signs of any smoking in the room. The staff then proceeded to empty the contents of the trash can. I asked “do you always go through your guests trash?” She replied with a yes. She failed to produce any mairjuana either. At that point I asked “wtf are we doing here guys” then the owner or manager doubled down that there was smell of marijuana in the room and then pointed at 2 little bits of what appeared to be green leafs. They were so tiny I was unsure what it was, just looked like green specks. I have never been so insulted before in my life. I will never go back there.
I could tell the room hadn't been used in a while because it smelled stale and there was no ac running. Once I was able to cool off the room and open a window for a short time, it was fine. There were dead bugs in the bathroom also but everything else was clean and comfortable.
Stayed the night while attending the Kentucky Derby and was very pleased at overall cleaniness and quiet of the hotel... comfortable bed and awesome shower..breakfast was a big hit with the wife...front desk was great and easy, quick check in..would definitely stay again
I have stayed @ BestWestern since its inception off and on over the years. The current manager seems to work very well with its clients, and as with anything new, takes some getting used to. Meaning to establish a working reputation with both parties.
Stayed at this hotel for 4 days with family from scotland to visit my son who attends Campbellsville university on a soccer schollarship. It is a disgusting overpriced hotel with horrendous breakfast and rooms that smell.its overpriced and really should be avoided at all costs if visiting Campbellsville. The 2 girls who work here on reception were lovely and the only nice thing about this hell hole.
They claim to be fully booked, but wait a room just opened up, and then added 80 bucks to the price. I guess there is one born every minute, I guess this time it was me. We just needed a place to stay for the night, we got there at 8pm the place was half full, got up at 630 am the place was half full. Will not stay here again just don't like being lied to, then over charged. We have stayed in 100s of hotels across this country over the last 60 years, this looks to be a 90 dollar a night hotel. They charged us 187.00 for the privilege to stay in their half full hotel.
Rooms were very clean and look recently updated. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Decent breakfast is included. The pool hot tub and fitness center were very clean and maintained. There is plenty of parking with easy room access.
The lady at the front desk was so sweet. Didn't get the room I reserved. One of the beds had a burn in the bed spread & had dirty linens. The pillows were to small for the size of the beds but were very comfortable. The other bed did have clean linens & did sleep very good. Comfortable bed & pillows. Other we had no complaints. Owner was friendly. Breakfast looked good.
The room was clean and had everything we needed. The toiletries were of great quality as well. The beds allowed for a restful night, and next morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs to spend the night in a quiet and well maintained hotel.
We were looking for a hotel near the college and this one was right down the street. Beds were comfortable, everything was very clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it.
They tried to charge me for more days than my reservation. Charged my card after realizing the price was high. Not once did the registration clerk ask how long my stay was. Then my bathroom was disgusting.
Our room was clean and quiet and every staff person we encountered was friendly. The breakfast was good; scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, toast, cereal, hard boiled eggs, fruit, coffee and juice. Access in and out of the hotel was close to most rooms.
It was a very restful stay in spite of the circumstances that brought me there. Fitness center located next door to me was a stress reliever as well as the pool and spa. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable.
The staff here was fantastic as always every year we come here they remember me and my family and treated us as if we were a member of their personal family and I respect that from a place we stay and that what's keeping us coming back
I stayed overnight in Campbellsville while visiting in the area, and this hotel was recommended to me by a local. Everything was fine: the room was large, clean, and comfortable, and in-room amenities and breakfast were as expected. No problems at check-in or check-out. The signage at the desk implies that they have trouble constraining guests from smoking, but I smelled nothing unusual. The hotel is somewhat dated but acceptable. It met my needs, and I would stay here again.
Nice, clean, comfortable rooms at a good price. This Best Western is convenient to shops and restaurants in Campbellsville. Nice big pool area convenient to all rooms. Easy access from parking to rooms.
We just had our family reunion in Campbellsville and this was the best available in town. Just because this is a rural area doesn't mean the accommodations shouldn't be updated for the 21st century. No changes have been made since I visited as I child in the 90's. It was like walking through a time machine. They really need to step it up! The saving grace was the staff, who went above and beyond to make sure we were all set. They were the best part! I loved interacting with them. The rooms were clean, no complaint there but the air quality was absolute trash, full of chemicals and overall oldness. It was so bad, I had to turn off the AC unit and rely on my hand held fan to keep me cool. Please make the investment to improve this place so that the people in this area have something nice to enjoy.
Basic hotel. Sadly the over powering stench of whatever cleaner they used forced us to open ever window and turn on the bathroom fan. The smell of Weed was prevalent. Seems to be the case in some of the cheaper hotels. That is not the hotels fault. But the smell can really ruin business.
RUN AWAY. I was treated awfully and over charged, then kicked out because I went to ask them about the additional charges they kept charging my card. Then they pretend “me no speaky”. Most awful experience
We stayed at this Best Western while visiting family in Campbelllsville. The staff was friendly, room was clean and comfortable and my grandsons enjoyed the large outdoor pool. We will definitely be staying here a lot in the future when we come to visit!
Clean and comfortable, but did have some issues. I will start with the good. Our room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The pool are is large and I enjoyed the lounging chairs. The jaquzzi area did need cleaning. We noticed as soon as we got in it wasn't clean and immediately got out. Our refrigerator was not working when we arrived, but the staff replaced it with a new one within the hour. We enjoyed hot fresh coffee in the lobby throughout the day. We were in room 117 and the noise in the evening made it difficult to sleep. The walls seem thin. We had difficulty keeping our room a consistent temperature. It was either hot or cold. The water pressure in the shower make it take twice as long to shower.
Very comfortable hotel with large swimming pool. Rooms are very clean and quiet. Great TV channel selection. The management team at this hotel is exceptional. Very helpful and accommodating. We stayed four nights and would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!
Check in was easy, especially since it was nit reserved. My experience was overall satisfactory and I would definitely stay here again. Best Western is my preferred hotel to stay at. Great value, comfortable beds and I feel safe in my room.
We stayed two nights only had two towels. They never came to take the trash out or give new towels. Other than that the place is ok. Bathroom is very small, water pressure was terrible. When we came in the first night the room was probably 85 degrees.
The room was clean. The other guest were quiet. Corona just sucks because no gym and we didn't see the breakfast area. But I would definitely stay here again. Could of used some snack machines by the soda machine. The check in clerk he was very friendly and help full.
I was expecting a Best Western, I got a Days Inn. No maid service, no hot breakfast, a front desk fill in that couldn't speak English. And worst of all no notice when I made the reservation. They gave us a brown bag breakfast the first morning. We drank the orange drink, that's it. I took the bags back to them, they need the food more that I do. Stay anywhere else. If I was BW I would yank their franchise.
We can always count on the Best Western Motel in Campbellsville to provide us with an enjoyable experience. We play in a golf tournament in either Campbellsville or Greensburg every year and we'll continue to do so if our health allows. I also try to stay in other Best Western Motels throughout the country because they seem to be clean and well run.
Easy chair was filthy. Room smelled of cigarette smoke. Office chair in room would sink to lowest chair height as soon as I sat in it. It wouldn't maintain its height.Ceiling constantly creaked and groaned when the person above my room walked across their room. Carpet was filthy and needs replacing. TV stations not programmed. Had to punch in the digital number on the remote to get TV channels. Asked for a non connecting room and was given a connecting room even though the hotel was nearly empty. No hot water at bathroom faucet. Could not regulate the water temperature in the shower. It was either scalding hot or cold. If I ever have to do business in this area again I will travel the 30 miles to a Hilton property where they care about their guests.
We have used this hotel for many years to accommodate out of town family members. This time around, however, our reservation dates were incorrectly entered by the front desk staff, resulting in our being billed for a "no show" date we had never reserved in the first place! When we tried to resolve it, the entire staff, apparently all from the same family, refused to correct their mistake and tried to bill us for three nights instead of the two we originally reserved. We were told several stories. "The manager is not here to help you", "We cannot change the billing," "Someone will call you back." No calls back, and no resolution a week later. Too many other hotels to choose from in the area to ever return here again! See ya!
Clean, comfortable and very close to what we were doing. We were in town for the CU volleyball alumni reunion. We really only slept there but it was exactly what we needed. Our only dislike was the smoke smell that seeped through wall and doors. Put once we were in our room it was fine.
We always stay at this Best Western when in Campbellsville Ky. We are never disappointed. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Our room is always clean and comfortable and the continental breakfast is plentiful, hot and good variety. We will stay there again.
This is a very nice hotel located in Campbellsville. It is close to everything in the town. The rooms are clean and neat. The beds were comfortable. There is an outdoor pool and a small fitness room. I would stay there again when I am in the area.
In my opinion, the price was a little high for the room. We have stayed in numerous hotel and the cost for this location was a little high considering it is not located in a resort or recreation area. The room was acutally $20 higher than on other occasions when we have stayed here. Asked why and was told it was a summer rate which is always higher. But overall, it is an excelle t hotel with great staff.
Getting all the grandkids together so that they could visit and swim before heading back out of town this was a good location for this to happen all parties got to see each other and enjoy each other's company swim and have a good time for the children
Excellent clean room and clean breakfast area. Scrambled eggs with grated cheese sausage and/or bacon was a plus. Good location with lots of businesses like restaurants, fast food places for everybody. And I didn't see the donut shop across the street until I was leaving to head home.
Very nice hotel for Campbellsville. Staff was friendly, our room was clean. Fast food and eat in resturants near by. Pool area was kept up and appeared to have plenty of towels for swimming. Breakfast fine and they kept refilling when items ran out.
Every time I visit family in Campbellsville I stay at this Best Western. The check in and check out is simple and it is a relatively quiet hotel. The rooms are nice and clean and there are places to eat close by. The hotel staff is super friendly and that means a lot. It's like coming back to stay with old friends.
This was a very nice place to stay for my wife and I. The room was clean and the overall appearance of this property was excellent. The Hotel staff could not have been nicer and really made us feel at home. I would highly recommend this Best Western to anybody looking for a good nights sleep.
This BW is an Inn yes - but it also was a surprise being off the beaten path of most travelers. I was looking for a reasonable place to stay and this is where I ended up. Yes, there is not a very good smell in the lobby/check-in area which gave us a high concern about the room. But, once in the hallway to our room and the room itself there was no unacceptable odors. A night of great restful sleep.
Would highly recommend this hotel. I was very impressed with how friendly the staff was and how clean everything was. Also, was so convenient to have a microwave, refrigerator/freezer, and coffee machine in the room. I was also very impressed with all of the other amenities throughout the rest of the hotel. Was nice to wake up to a continental breakfast as well. Would stay here again.
Good location near restaurants and University. Rooms were clean and spacious. Large bathroom. Nice pool. Excercise room adequate. Breakfast was just ok. I had to wait 10 minutes for someone to check me out. Check is was quick.
Extremely clean, management is friendly and courteous. Rooms are spacious. Complementary breakfast is also very good. Checking in and out is a breeze. The inn is on a main road so it's easy to find and extremely close to surrounding restaurants and stores.
While visiting friends, Best Western covered all the necessary amenities that was needed. The continental breakfast was on point. The staff was very friendly. I would recommend this hotel to all who come to visit or just to stay over
We were a little hesitant about Best Western due to a couple of less than 5-star stays, but are SOOOOO glad we chose to try this one in Campbellsville! The hotel is not new, but the rooms have been updated and are quite nice, with a refrigerator (small freezer, which is always nice for our cooler "ice bricks"), microwave and nice amenities.in the bathroom. Fresh popcorn machine in the lobby at night. We got to breakfast late, but got to eat still since it hadn't been "taken down" yet. Scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, biscuits, gravy, assorted breads, waffle machine, juices, coffee, etc. The absolute BEST part of our stay was the staff we interacted with, especially Paige, the front desk manager on the day we left....who totally exemplified really good customer service and genuine hospitality (OBVIOUSLY cares about people in general and knows how to take real care of guests).....AND.....don't know his name, but the man who was vacuuming the hallway when we left greeted us with a smile that lit up the day, offered to help us with our things, and asked if there was anything we needed before we left. We come to the Campbellsville area every year and will DEFINITELY be back to this Inn. Thank you!!
Traveling through this quiet town. Stayed one night. The hotel was quiet, comfortable and nicely updated. Friendly check-in. At Breakfast there was a variety of continental items plus sausage, bacon and eggs. Overall nice stay!
What a wonderfully clean hotel. Front desk young lady VERY accommodating. Room was absolutely immaculate. $40 less expensive than comparable room across the street. Great access to hotels and shopping. Fridge, microwave, and coffee maker included. Mattresses are most comfortable I've ever laid in at a hotel. Lots of exercise equipment in fitness room. Good breakfast selection. Key access from outside entrances makes us feel safer. Pet Friendly. Quiet rooms. Carpet is clean!! No odors. Wall thermostat. Can't say enough about how pleasantly surprised we are!! Room was $5 less than what we were quoted. Will definitely stay again.
Very nice and comfortable stay, all employees are very professional and helpfull, breakfast was wonderful and lady serving in breakfast was very helpful, also the housekeeper are very helpful and courteous
Overall satisfied with the staff and the stay, but my grandson , my daughter and myself were all bitten by something, my grandson's bite required a trip to the ER, this in turn made us decide to leave early. The cost for the weekend was extremely high recommend booking through travel sites for cheaper rate.
The hotel front desk are helpful and friendly. Our fire alarm needed a battery changed and that was fixed right away. Check in was easy Cookies and popcorn and coffee available at check in Convenient to campbellsville university for our recruiting visit Really zero complaints. We would stay there again.
The lady that serves breakfast was phenomenal!! Her name was Brenda. She made sure that everyone had everything they needed. Breakfast was DELICIOUS!! The young man at the front desk (with long curly hair) was a very attentive, with the best of personality skills. When he had a few minutes away from the front desk he would offer his services in the breakfast area. They were the most amazing staff that we have had the pleasure of staying with. This hotel was very clean. Great location. I could go on and on. Our son attends Lindsey Wilson college so we will ALWAYS come back to this hotel. Very good people!
I stayed over the Labor Day weekend. This is avery nice motel especially for such a rural location. Front desk staff are pleasant and greeted the guests each morning. Rooms are clean and well stocked. Pool was nice access kid friendly. Didn't use exercise room. One of the best in the area and holiday remains in Green County become difficult to get. Iwill definitely stay there in the future.
We have stayed here each year for a week for the past 5 years and have had nothing but good experiences.Of the 2 hotels in the direct area this is the best. outdoor pool great access to the town and very good staff. one negative no elevator so if you have trouble with stairs get your room online early.
Clean and comfortable. Attentive competent staff. The breakfast generic but sufficient. Nicely located in this beautiful little college town. The motel is within a couple of miles of many, many great places to eat. The pool was very nice. Our baseball team guys thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Even with rooms full, the room was quiet. The beds are amazing. The pillows are TOO FAT. Bring your own. My only complaint.
The Best Western Campbellsville is a welcoming, clean place to stay when you are in the Taylor County area of Kentucky. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable with a microwave and mini-fridge. They have a decent size outdoor pool, hot tub, exercise room, and free breakfast. The breakfast selection was good, from cereal, yogurt, and fresh fruit to hot breakfast items like eggs, sausage, bacon, and waffles. There are a few restaurants within easy walking distance and the hotel is not to far for those who are visiting the Green River State Park & Lake.
The staff makes this property shine. From check in to check out everyone provided exceptional service. Do yourself a favor and book a little getaway to Campbellsville. The pool was relaxing and breakfast was hot and refilled regularly.
Conveniently located for my overnight stay in the area. The room was very clean and bed comfortable. The staff was very helpful with my questions. I guess the worse things that I encountered is that my room didn't have the AC turned on so very warm on arrival. Also, I found the breakfast area too warm the next morning and the food supply very low at that point. Also, found a hair in the coffee pot in my room. I also do not particularly like climbing stairs with suitcases.
The clerks were very friendly and told us if there was anything or a problem to let them know but everything was great. There was a great breakfast ,a good variety of food.there was an exercise room and a nice looking swimming pool.
Our room was clean and the bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast was good with lots of options. And the hotel staff was very considerate - they even kept breakfast open for us and delayed their work cleaning up when we were late getting there. All staff was friendly and courteous, and a phone call directly to the hotel to book ended up being a much better idea than booking online, as they helped us get discounts. Overall a very good experience.
So when we first arrived not only did the person working yell at someone for walking down the stairs too loudly, but he said, “ what's this about?” When my youth group entered the hotel. So we brushed it off and went to our rooms. At one point I was in the room alone because I had homework. While I was doing it I hear a knock at the door and when I answer it, it's the employee and he says “ I'm gonna have to ask you to be quiet because the lady next door is complaining that you are too loud.” So I looked around the room in shock because I literally hadn't said a word and then I said “ ok I'll keep it down.” When everyone else in my room returned I told them what happened and next thing I know someone is banging on our door. Not knocking, but banging. So I answer it and he says “ the lady next door called and said that you were going to file a complaint against me.” And I was just standing there confused. He continued to talk and said “ if there's a problem then you need to tell me now.” I was just standing there dumbfounded at how totally unprofessional this was. And then he said” my manager knows I'm a good worker so it doesn't matter if you send one in or not.” At this point I was angry because not only was it unprofessional, but he was causing a scene in the middle of the hall for no reason. Then after all of this he tried to smooth it over by saying he'll make sure he brings us extra blankets. Then the next day the hotel calls our church saying that we acted terrible while we were there and a bunch of other stuff. There is no telling what that man told his boss about us. The reason we didn't file a complaint was because we just wanted to stay for one night and we wanted to leave right when we woke up. We didn't want to cause any trouble. So we will never stay there again. No grown adult should ever com banging on the room of a bunch of kids and start accusing them of doing something they didn't do. Terrible.
The staff was very friendly and helpfulHelpful staff. The ice breakfast bar was very complete. I wish it would be open a bit longer. Free coffee, popcorn and cookies in the evening. Seemed recently and modernly upgraded. Good free WIFI. It was very quiet at night.
The employees and staff were very helpful and courteous. Rooms were very clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Campbellsville for an overnight stay. Can't beat the price with such friendly environment.
We have stayed at this location multiple times, and this was by far the best stay. The recent interior renovation looks great and is so welcoming and warm. We will definitely be returning. Our room was so quiet and very nice. The staff is very helpful and kind. We highly recommend this hotel!
Went for our grandsons graduation. Have stayed her four time and have always had a good experiences. Mr Patel and his staff go out of their way to make us as comfortable as they. Rooms are being updated and so is the pool. Will always stay her when I am back in the area.
great service at check in, the young gal was the best in the business! One of the cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen! Do not let the curb appeal turn you away from the this property...there has been a great remodel, the rooms are clean and the breakfast was great! I will be back!
Trip for Thanksgiving to be with family, we stay at the Best Western hotel on Broadway all the time when we come to Campbellsville, Ky. The staff is very nice, and will do anything to make your stay there satisfactory. Thank you Troy & Anita
The rooms were very clean and the staff were very professional. The beds were comfortable and plenty of hot water. A nice place to stay and not over priced. The only negative is they do not have an elevator so if you don't like stairs request the floor level.
The overall appearance of hotel was good, staff was professional, polite, respectful. Room Mon-smoking, double beds was clean and plenty of pillows, and linens. Shopping and food stores near by, also automotive near by if needed. ??Great stay ?? ????
This was a nice and clean hotel, despite undergoing some renovations. Friendly staff. Those working on renovations made sure their area was as clean as possible at the end of the work day. They worked in areas that were away from guests as much as possible. Running a business in a construction site is never easy, but this staff did a good job working around it.
Hotel is reasonably priced. It serves the needs of the traveler. Breakfast is great. Located conveniently in town. I have never stayed in the summer to use the pool, although it looks nice. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I typically stay here during hunting season. Hotel is close to several restaurants and stores that sell various sundries. The Wifi works well. An overall comfortable stay for the money.
We booked the deluxe suite. A separate living room and tv made it easy to have our fellow travelers meet up and enjoy the game on tv. We ordered in one night and had a gathering together. Lots of room and a pleasant environment.
Clean hotel and our room was very clean. Breakfast was setup and very good with plenty of options to choose from. Hotel staff was very friendly during our stay and during checkout. Outside grounds and lot were very well kept as well.
A very pleasant experience at this hotel. Professional and friendly staff. Clean rooms. Great breakfast bar. Free meeting room available for our get together. Would definitely return to this hotel. Great local restaurants with fantastic food.
Enjoyed my weekend at the Best Western. The staff was very helpful throughout our stay. Rooms were quiet. Our group had use of the conference room which was very nice. Great location for checking out the area.
This hotel was clean and the staff friendly. They had coffee available 24/7. The hot tub was wonderful. They had the best in room lighting that I have ever seen! There were restaurants nearby along with a grocery store and retail shops. The Dominoes thin crust pizza was the best! We ordered from there twice. My only negative comment would be that the pool towels should be larger. lol
A great place for family! We enjoyed the breakfast every morning. Even when folks came in right when the breakfast place was to close the lady still helped others and let them continue eating. The room was clean and when housekeeping came by and ask what would you like to have done they said and did it with a smile!!!
Clean, friendly staff, not much to do in the area. Breakfast area was nice but could have kept tables clean as people left. No elevator. Exterior pool, hot tub inside and has exercise room. Not much located in that area so you must have a reason to go there.
This place was clean, neat and the staff was super nice. I will stay here again whe I visit my daughter at college. The outside appearance was also nice and they were making improvements. I would recommend this place to anyone!
Great staff, nicely renovated, clean, and good beds. For $100 it was a great option! I was skeptical of an older BW, some of the older chains are quite dilapidated, but the new owners have turned this into a very clean, renovated and cheerful comfortable place! Kudos to this family--they really know how to welcome their guests and make you feel at home.
We stayed at this hotel whilst we took our son to Campbellsville University. A lovely stay and the people were so friendly and helpful. Rooms were kept clean and tidy. We used the pool which is a very nice addition. Would recommend a stay here.
Great Value! Clean room, nice bed. Great for business travel. Easy access and checkout. Needs better internet service. I could not use my company's VPN Had to use the local coffee shop for internet. I will come back to the hotel.
Have stayed in area a few times visiting family. Clean pool is outdoors, hot tub is indoors, fitness center is a clean but small room with up to date equipment, but small size got stuffy with more than one person exercising in there. Rooms are clean and quiet. We were in a non-smoking room at end of a smoking hall. Room itself was fresh smelling. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast very good.
Very clean, comfortable room and common areas, delicious breakfast and helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Everyone was very customer oriented. I will definitely stay again when I am in the area.
This hotel is a nice place to wind down at the end of the day from being at the lake, working on a job site, or just traveling through. Free breakfast that is just the trick, outdoor pool, rooms with nice beds, microwaves, refrigerator, spacious work desk. You have to ask for a towel for the pool at the front desk which is a minor annoyance but understandable. Just a quick drive anywhere for food. Cleanest hotel in town with the most amenities offered. The staff is polite and accommodating.
Check in staff did what they could to help us out. Late check in was super fast amd property is in good condition. Quiet and worthed for what we paid. We did not experienced any issues with our stay. Thank you.
Family drove down to KY from IL to check out the Jets over Kentucky R/C air show. Hotel was very clean and staff was friendly. Room stay was very comfortable and amenities we accommodating. Quiet location for it being on a state hwy. Would definitely stay again!
Need better senior rates..better selection of breakfast..coffee was alright .employees need to learn more about the area.also needs a hot tub and spa.need more information about what's happening for area deals
The hotel was clean and the staff were wonderful!!! They had cookies in the lobby and they were delicious. The staff were very attentive to your needs. The breakfast was really good. There were eggs, bacon, hash browns, yogurt, waffles etc
The Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and updated. My room was extremely clean and comfortable. I will being staying there again. I felt very safe and secure. It also was very quiet. And I was there during the July 4th Holiday. I didn't get a chance to eat breakfast but the coffee is good. Only minutes from the lake.
Excellent stay, very clean and good breakfast. When the hotel ran out of juice, they quickly found pitches and made several available for customers. People were very polite and always helpful whenever we needed anything.
Two problems was the room above me. Made a ton of noise. Beds were not comfy. They have no ear plugs. Other than that it would have been a great stay. They let me take the breakfast back to my room. They also did not come in my room. Which I loved,
Wow great customer service. The new management and staff are absolutely fantastic. So helpful and so friendly. These folks helped me with storage of a special cake when they did not have to. Big thank you to the staff.
We stayed here for three nights while visiting family. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was decent. My biggest complaint is they put their smoking rooms right next to their non-smoking rooms. We happen to be right next to the smoking rooms. Every time we'd walk through the halls, it smelled horrible. Very stale air. The room itself wasn't too bad but we got whiffs of smoke every now and again. If they separated the rooms by wing or floor, it might be better. If we stay again next year, I will discuss room assignment before confirming a reservation.
This hotel is in the middle of Campbellsville, very close to everything. My boyfriend and I were on a camping trip and the weather was bad so we had to stay here instead. As much as I wanted to camp, this hotel was a great place to stay. The lady at the front desk was very patient as we had a few issues upon checking in- nothing that had to do with the hotel, it was a personal issue. She made us feel very welcome and like we were at home. Our room was a two bed smoking room, and there was even an ashtray provided. The room was very clean and had lots of space. My boyfriend and I didn't want to leave because the beds were so comfy! I would definitely stay here again!
Great hotel.. employees were great. Wish price was cheaper though. Hot tub was wonderful and bed was cozy. Rooms are nice. Breakfast is nice, wish there was more options. Literally loved how friendly the staff was.
This hotel was very clean, recently has been remodeled. The bed was extremely comfortable, but could have used another blanket or comforter. The breakfast had a variety of hot items, including eggs, bacon, sausage and waffles. Everything was clean and well organized. I will definitely stay here again.
The remodel was well done. Beds comfortable. Nice to have hot cookies and popcorn. Breakfast variety very good. Staff amenable and helpful. Quiet rooms. Plenty of hot water. Close to restaurants and shopping
For the first time ever after staying at hundreds of hotels, a complete stranger was given the wrong number to my room when he checked in. As a result I was woken up by a loud bang as somebody tried to open my door at 2:45am. Heart pounding, I approach my door to look through the peephole, but the stranger had left. 10 minutes later i'm woken up again by the same guy trying to open my door again with a loud bang. This time he tries the keycard over and over so I approach the door and confirm that yes, a stranger is trying to get into my room at 3:00am. I yell at him through the door and he confirms that he has the same room number as me. I send him back to the desk and then call down to tell them what they did. To say that they brushed it off is an understatement. "Yea it was a mistake. The girl wrote the wrong number down." I reply, " I mean......" I'm cut off by the person on the phone who said, "it was a mistake, sorry". Everything else has been weak as well. The card reader on the entrance I was sent to didn't work then the ice machine on my floor didn't work. The receptionist had paint all over his shirt because he had been helping to paint the walls. It's hard to imagine a less comfortable computer chair.
Hotel is old, but still clean and well staffed. Rooms have been updated, but still old. The pool isn't indoors, so the winter it wasn't open and all there was to use was the hot tub and it was gross, it gave me a rash and a staff infection.
Best Western Campbellsville is located very convenient to the city and the college. Very clean hotel, recently updated. Staff is always super nice and informative. Rooms are comfy and clean. They have free popcorn in the lobby.
Great place, nice size rooms and very comfortable, friendly staff. If ever there or close in the area (within 20+miles) best place to stay. I've tried others in the area all the way to Columbia and farther non can compare. Plenty of parking for any size vehicle.
My family stayed a couple of nights for a wedding. The staff was quite friendly. The environment was quite clean and tidy. Never once saw or ran into any linen or janitorial carts which is always a plus. We didn't have any problems and truly enjoyed ourselves.
We recently stayed at this Best Western for the weekend and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was very clean, our room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Cookies and popcorn were available later in the day. A hot breakfast was served daily but I opted for cereal. Our room overlooked the pool which looked very nice. My only negative comment is the hotel needs a bit of updating but overall we were very pleased with out stay......
My stay was not ideal, but do not mistake this as a hotel issue. It does not mean that the Best Western/room itself was particularly poor. I had two issues: The crowd at the hotel (keep in mind this was a mid-week business stay) was sub-par. Individuals outside drinking all evening were the main concern. I understand that this is common among hotels throughout the week, but can also be managed. Sheets were not changed during my stay. They were seemingly clean upon arrival, but a self inflicted midnight snack stain remained all week. The room was tidied and extra towels provided, however. For the price, compared to the other few options nearby, I would probably stay again. Keep in mind though, if this is a mid-week family trip, it may not be the best option. No other experience with other hotels in the area.
Everything was as it should be sheets clean bed nicely made plenty of towels in the room well stocked with shampoo conditioner mouthwash all the expected amenities the place just had a nice feel about it and the staff was extremely nice breakfast was great and the Wi-Fi work great definitely recommend this place
This was probably the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in!! I was traveling back to Chicago area after my father had a medical procedure. I decided that I had not had enough sleep to make the trip and had to find a room for the evening. The gentleman at the front desk was very accommodating. The room and bed were Very comfortable and clean. It's obvious that they take pride in their hotel. I would Highly recommend this place to stay.
Great value, wonderful breakfast the following morning. Nice pool and hot tub, exercise room and internet. Best Western was close to everywhere we had to be. Next time we come to Campbellsville this is the hotel we will stay in.
We stayed as a mini family getaway as we couldn't get to Hilton Head as planned. Good managers, drawback was put on 2nd floor. With husband's back he was pretty much in room. I asked if they had even a "maintenance elevator", but was informed. No. Breakfast was great, employee very friendly. Some miscommunication about the hot tub being out of order until the last night. Hard to find Cave City drove far on small country roads. Overall hotel was nice, location was far from where we wanted to visit.
Stayed August 13/14, 2016. Had my granddaughters 11th birthday party there, and they had an awesome time. We had adjoining rooms so that she and her friends could have their own space. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We had 6 girls 10-11 years old, so they weren't very quiet. But no one said anything to us and would always say hello when they saw us. The rooms and pool were very clean. Paige at the front desk let us set up for the birthday party early, and we even got into our rooms early. This helped a lot to make things run smoothly. The girls loved making their own breakfast in the morning, and Tracey was great helping them out. She even didn't mind the little mishaps the girls had. We were very lucky to have people who cared and seemed to enjoy their jobs. We had previously called another hotel in the area, and it seemed like they couldn't care less if we stayed there. I am glad we didn't. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting the area, and needs a clean and pleasant place to stay.
Campbellsville, KY Best Western was very clean and had comfortable rooms; friendly staff; reasonable rates; nice pool; good breakfast; easy checkout. Decent TV, good WiFi connection. Second time I've stayed there, will continue to stay there when in area.
The hotel was much better than expected. Amble parking that is well lite. Swimming pool was clean and inviting. Guest room was clean and love the refrigerator. Staff was very nice. It is close to Campbellsville campus and also downtown.
We weren't greeted right away by anyone behind the desk, when I rang the bell, the girl who came out looked and acted very imposed upon that we would ring the bell for service...(don't have it there then). Hotel itself is pretty nice, but no a/c in the hallways. So when room a/c went off, it would get humid in the room. However, we were nicely greeted as soon as we came in by a gentleman who looked to be filling the coffee up, which is the only reason the service is rated at very good instead of poor.
Made reservation at this hotel because of the pool for my son while I was in meetings for 2 half days. Arrived to find pool out of order and when I mentioned it to the front desk person I was not even given an apology. Breakfast was not hot and items were unavailable.
better than any other best western i've stayed at. nice people at the desk, any issue they take care of it all. they know what is around to grab to eat and were right every time. there are quite a few hotels for a town of this size so there is plenty to choose from. good parking too.
The hotel was excellent and our comfort and satisfaction seemed to be a top priority. We were very pleased with the process, room and staff. The internet was very poor, but we had phone broadband to cover this. What really stood out was the breakfast. The woman running this area kept it clean and perfect and the food was really good. We have had plenty of free breakfasts at hotels and this would be the best I have ever had.
I stayed here for one night while driving up to Indiana. Check-in was very easy and quick and the manager, Pavan, was very kind. He made sure we had everything we needed in our room. Beds were comfy and the rooms were clean! I'd highly recommend this hotel for anyone passing through.
I stayed here 5-1-3, on Monday I left at 10:00am to return at 7:00pm to find my room was left open, I've stayed here a number of times and have never experience any of this, and was very disappointed with the customer service that was offered, I was going to stay another night but all they wanted to do was to offer 16.00 off a nights stay, well my personal belongings and my safety are more important than that, so in the future I will find somewhere else to stay...
This is one of cleanest places I`ve stayed for years. They are very nice and helpful. The pool was being worked on but the hot tub and exercise room was nice. They have alot to pick from for the breakfast hot and cold .Lots of fruit and coffee, tea, hot chocolate or juice.
Room was recently remodeled and was very nice and comfortable. The breakfast was very nice. Pool is being redone at this time but looks like it will be completed by Summer 2016. Lobby needs an upgrade as well, but it's best they started with the rooms.
I arrived at this hotel last week, and the front desk had no idea what she was doing. When checking-in the card declined through the third party website it was booked from, so she took my card instead ensuring it would not be authorized until I checked out, and talking with the third party/company who was paying for my room. But of course after checking-in and making my way up to my room, I checked my account and it was authorized. After talking with the front-desk later that evening, she said she had spoken to the manager and that everything would be worked out tomorrow when he came in. However as I was checking-out that following morning, the manager authorized my card two more times, totaling to be three authorization that were not suppose to be on there to begin with. The lack of communcation was quite annoying and these charges are still pending on my card. Also mentioning this hotel is quite out-dated, smelly hallways, no elevator, and not once was I apologized to for the communication between the third party company, the front desk, or the manager. Not worth the stay.
We were there this past weekend for a wedding. Upon check in the front desk clerk was very nice and offered to help us with our bags. During our stay, each employee we encountered, they were so and polite. When we found there fresh baked cookies, they made sure there were always some made, which was amazing since they were so darn good. Our brides door was having some issues and the front desk took care of it right away and even pooped in some cookies for us as well. Only downfall was that they were renovating and we had no pool. Which was a bad situation when we have lots of children looking forward to going swimming. We were very happy that we were able to check in early, which was great since we were coming form Wisconsin and had just spent 10 hours in a car. We were very pleased with the service, they kept up each morning with breakfast items for all of us(about 30+), didn't not mind that we all had kids, but again not disclosing there was no pool would have been helpful.
Third time that I have stayed here and have never had any problems. Great hotel at a good price. Pavan Patel and his staff always treat us nice and are very helpful when we need something. Clean and comfortable rooms. Well lighted area and plenty of free parking. Good places to eat out close by. Always enjoy our stay here.
Best Western Campbellsville offered exceptional customer service along with clean rooms and professional employees. I found the whole experience to be easy and enjoyable for my business trip with Campbellsville University.
Our extended family used this hotel during a funeral. One of the managers bent over backwards to make us feel welcome and provide us with any service he could. He really went over and above to make a difficult time less so.
The people here went out of their way to assist with anything I needed and the breakfast was first rate. The lady that worked in the evening I stayed was very polite and mannerly when dealing with me as well as others that were there.
The room I had was very clean, as well as the bathroom. The carpet, floors were very clean, and the heating / cooling system was very efficient and quiet. The bedding looked and felt very clean and fresh and all appliances, etc worked very well. The only major disappointment was the breakfast , as it was not maintained and had a very sparse amount of eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. The breakfast pastries and muffins were very stale and obviously old stock. The coffee was plentiful as was the waffle mix , if waffles are your choice for breakfast. The condition of the facilities were very clean and very nice. The staff was very pleasant and seemed anxious to help. I noticed no staff was available to maintain the items supposedly offered for breakfast.
The rooms were clean & updated, bed comfortable. No problems w/ wifi. Excellent staff, young man at the front desk was very courteous & extra helpful. Hot tub was clean. Nice free breakfast. 24 hour coffee & popcorn in lobby. Very good experience. Would definitely recommend.
My family and I stayed at the BW on the second weekend of the month. The staff was cordial and helpful!! We were in town unfortunately for a funeral . They made our stay comfortable and without interuption. The breakfast room was stocked good and the food was hot. The front communal area had a gas Fire place that didn't work and was cold with one long couch and chair, small tv up high, Computer turned off w no instructions. Front area needs upgrade!! My sister inlaw couldn't stay with us because she had dogs, but there was one gentleman who was allowed to stay with his dog because he was supposedly a "service dog" in training ( older dog with no service ID)!!
We stayed here for a stop on a road trip. We arrived late and staff was very friendly even late at night. The bed was comfortable and clean bathroom very clean. I would definitely stay again. We picked the hotel because of the reviews on trip advisor. The donut place across street is very good as well.
This was our fourth stay at this Campbellsville Best Western. It is unfortunate that we seem to be in town only to attend a family member's funeral but it is comforting to know we have this motel available to us. This trip we arrived on Christmas Day and the manager was top notch; quite friendly and a pleasure to deal with.
Recently spend two nights due to business trip in the area. Although I booked on line, I called hotel directly to ensure first floor room due to physical disability. Staff was very friendly and accommodating and I had my first floor room upon arrival. Staff even informed me of the closest exit to my room so that I could park close to limit my walking. As I suffer from chronic breathing issues, mold, excessive dust and previous smokers can really irritate my sensitive lungs. The room that I stayed in appeared clean and I experienced no issues with my room during my stay. Slept like a log. Fresh popcorn in the lobby was a nice treat when working from my room each evening. Outside lighting could be improved near exit doors other than the main lobby. I was parked near Exit C and outside the door was not well lit.
Overall a nice hotel to stay at in the area. Reasonable to high cost per night for area. Friendly staff. Hotel going thru renovations so not all amenities were available. Basic Best Western Inn. King bed, TV, WiFi, microwave & refrigerator, individual coffee maker, hair dryer, full tub w/ shower. Non-smoking room! Clean.
I have never stayed at any hotel where the staff were friendlier or more helpful. The room was rather noisy because of other room's door being slammed repeatedly until after 11pm but the staff more than made up for this minor annoyance.
The hotel has been renovated, at least our room was. No noise or problems with the reno, but great changes! The room was spotless, loved all the pillows and the bath was great and shining new. Loved the glass tile floor in there. I also loved all of the outside keyed doors that allowed you to park outside a door right by your room. The complimentary breakfast was meh, namely the eggs and potatoes. The continental breakfast items were just fine, as was the waffle maker. The best thing about this place was definitely the front desk staff. A young man checked us in and was very helpful when we asked for a late checkout and restaurant recommendations for dinner. We ended up coming back to the hotel when we were not comfortable staying with local friends, and Paige was so very helpful and accomodating when we called, and later when we checked back in for another night. So friendly and so reassuring. She is definitely a keeper and a real asset to the hotel. Outstanding customer service!
I recently spent 4 nights at this hotel and was not pleased at all with the experience. There was construction going on so the banging started at 5 AM and then there was the loud carrying on from the guys late night. Also no room service was provided for me and fresh towels were not given. Use to be the only place I stayed when I was in this town but will be looking at other places.
Overall the lodging was acceptable. The hotel was undergoing renovations at the time and the upstairs hallway smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. Parking was problematic due to the fishing boats filling the lot from a local fishing tournament, Would recommend boats be parked in a different lot or along the front of the hotel.
Comfortable beds, great service, local to downtown and restaurants, very friendly people willing to go out the way for their clients and their needs Clean lobby nice meeting area and always coffee and pop corn available
Staff very courteous & accommodating. Good location. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. In room internet worked well. Good food. Popcorn, coffee, tea, cookies in lobby. Stay here every year for family reunion.
If you are anywhere in this area I reccommend this Best Western. I've stayed in most in the area newer and older as far away as columbia and this is the best. The owners and staff really take pride in the place and service. This started as a reunion and ended up as a funeral for family. The staff did more than could be asked for in helping. Many thanks to them!!
Awesome front desk staff at check-in. We checked in late, like 10pm and the clerk was so nice and accommodating and very funny. Hotel is going through renovations but still very clean. Rooms were very nice. Breakfast was good and room was large enough for a lot of people to eat there.
Over all good experience / Did have an issue with noise at 2:30 AM in the hall and the room adjoining our room. The door between the two rooms allow a lot of noise through. The room rate is high for this average hotel
The hotel was nice it was clean. Breakfast was good and staff was helpful and polite. This was a last minute stay and the staff made every attempt to make are stay great. The outside landscape could use some work, but it was not a factor for my stay.
The staff at the front desk were inviting. The room was very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the continental breakfast. I will most definitely stay at Best Western Campbellsville Inn on my next business trip!
The staff at the front counter and during breakfast were among the best I've encountered. When I went in for the free breakfast, the people that worked in there were kind and helpful and went out of their way to do whatever people asked of them. This hotel has worked hard to get the kind of people employed that make a stay better.
We stayed here because we were in town for a friends wedding. The first thing I noticed was how friendly and helpful the staff were the entire time. The rooms were also clean and very nice. The best part was that they honored the wedding discount even though I booked after the deadline. I would stay here again if I was back in town.
