Best Western Plus Hotel Bellingham, Bellingham

This is a great hotel for business. It's my favorite hotel in Bellingham. The breakfast choices are extensive, including waffles, fresh fruit, pastries, hot eggs, bacon, burritos, yogurt, and oatmeal. The Internet speed is fast. The staff are friendly and helpful.

We stayed at this property last week and it has some issues. The room is where most of the issues are, the bed needs replacing, springs are poking through the mattress and the pillows have no filling so they go flat as soon as you move them. The ac was leaking on the carpet, cobwebs in room, lights in bathroom take a long time to warm up and turn on. The fridge was iced up and made a loud humming noise all night the first night. Asked for it to be repaired. They did something to it but it was back to humming the next night. The tv remote doesn't like to work with the tv in the room. The breakfast area is awkwardly laid out and not enough seating when hotel is full. The attendant was not able to stay on top of stocking so food items, coffee and cutlery, plates etc. were always running out. The fitness room is large and well laid out for a hotel gym. Outdoor pool and no hot tub. Location is quiet and well placed for tourist and shopping activities.

We were here for 4 nights. From check-in to check-out, one of the nicest Best Westerns we've ever stayed in. Checking in, the desk clerk acted absolutely delighted to see us. Among other things, he asked me what floor I would prefer. I can't remember another time when that happened. The room was near spotless. No signs of anything having been overlooked or ignored. The bed was very comfortable, and smelled clean. With the way the bed and A/C were arranged relative to each other, I got some of the best sleep ever. The A/C didn't blow directly onto the bed. The room stayed at a comfortable temperature (68) all night. The temps outside were in the high 80's to low 90's the whole trip. The hotel was not empty by any means, but it was quiet as a tomb. The only noise I ever ehard were kids playing in the pool when I was downstairs. Brerakfast was quite good, with a very large selection. I will definitely stay here the next time we're in the area.

Great place to stay! Comfortable beds, great breakfast selections, close to Bellis Fare shopping mall and all other types of stores. Near the airport but very quiet. Fabulous and friendly staff, pool, exercise room and wifi. Would definitely highly recommend this BW.

We would not recommend this hotel. They seemed understaffed to accommodate the guests. They ran out of many breakfast items and the breakfast area needed cleaning. There were other guests complaining about thie breakfast as well.

From the friendly check-in to the 24 hour laundry to the 4 types of meat for breakfast, to the extra blanket and pillows on the super comfy bed, we enjoyed our stay at the Bellingham BW. Our room was the business with couch. Very large and comfortable. Really appreciated the bright lights and the desk area. Got lots of work done!

We had such a great experience at this location. The staff was friendly with our large group and the stay was comfortable. I would recommend staying at this location because of the staff and atmosphere.

Although I have visited Bellingham many times, this is the first time I stayed in this hotel. The staff were very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, and the cleanliness and service met or exceeded Best Western standards. My room was spacious and surprisingly quiet. The location is good, just off the highway, and there is an excellent Greek restaurant very close by -- easy walking distance. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

We stayed here for one night on our way to Seattle. The hotel room was exactly as pictured - clean, well sized, and great pillows. The bathroom was slightly outdated but was clean and functional. The fan in the bathroom didn't seem to work as it got extremely steamy and took a while for the bathroom mirror to rid of the steam. The shampoo and conditioner were excellent since I noticed my hair didn't frizz (wow!). The morning breakfast was very busy. The breakfast area and seating didn't seem to accommodate the numbers that showed up and they ran out of some items when it was my turn to scoop up breakfast. They refilled but after I left the line so I was out of luck. No seating left to have breakfast there so I returned to my room to eat. I was by myself so didn't mind as much but probably very inconvenient for a families. Though I'm grateful for the included breakfast, I felt they should have the space to facilitate this. Location of hotel was super convenient - just off I-5 and a couple of right turns. And super convenient to get back on the I-5. I'd stay here again for sure. My first BWPlus stay and it was definitely a winner!

We had a wonderful one-night stay at this hotel. Most employees were gracious and welcoming. The breakfast staff (an older lady) was such a gem: she was diligent, replenishing foods constantly and helping guests with their needs, all with a big smile. The hotel is not new, but is clean and well-kept. Wish the closet was bigger and the bathroom had more racks. A well-run Best Western property, would stay again and recommend.

Bathrooms need updating, hotel did not tidy the room on my stay, happen on the last two visits and it was requested on checkin, bathroom supplies - body wash- empty, no towel hooks to dry towels,….food good, location good, beds good.

Good breakfast, food choices were great, and tasted good and fresh. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Internet was reliable and fast. We spent 2 nights for our Granddaughter's wedding. Location was quiet and close to the venu where the wedding was. Convenient.

From start to finish had a great stay at this hotel! Beds were comfortable, rooms and bathrooms were impeccably clean and well stocked. Outside pool was an oasis of calm and fun after a long drive. Breakfast was great, well stocked and fresh. Loved that the staff had a daily meeting in the morning to go over any issues and to provide feedback from recent guests, tells me that we as guests really do matter and these folks take it seriously! Location is perfect too. 5 min drive to most shops but still quiet location. Would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend to all.

This is our third Best Western that we have stayed at and we can really tell that they have stepped up their game. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. We traveled with two small dogs to the Bellingham location and they welcomed them too.

We stay here when we're in the area. Close to Costco & Fred Meyer as well as the airport. There is an outdoor pool that is nice. Breakfast is amazing, so many food choices to choose from. We definitely utilize the 24 hour coffee station ;-) The staff is friendly and helpful and will happily remedy any situation that happens.

the Greek restaurant across the hotel serves delicious food, the hotel is very clean, the staff very friendly, it is very close to center of Bellingham, they also give you breakfast and it is good and quite sufficient

I stayed at this property last night. I will never stay here again. The property is cheaply built. Casual conversations in adjoining rooms and in the hallways are easily audible. I arrived quite late, staying in Room 110, I heard neighboring conversations and several doors slamming until about 2:00 AM. Room 110 was quite dilapidated. The heating unit is falling apart, with the front cover hanging free. The blackout curtain is broken and does not stay fixed in any position other than fully dropped down. If you try to roll it up, to permit light into the unit, it simply rolls back down under its own weight. The mattress was very soft and lumpy - literally, the right side feels like a "valley." The carpet is very worn and needs to be replaced. The tile floor in the entry and bathroom are so old that the grout between tiles is permanently blackened. And, worst of all, there appeared to be a fleck of crusted excrement on the base of the toilet. My sense is that the property ownership feels assured that the building's proximity to Bellingham International Airport will ensure a steady clientele, and so they don't appear to care whether they maintain the property. Incredibly disappointing. Again, I will not stay here again and recommend that anyone needing lodging in or around Bellingham, to look elsewhere.

Staff are great and knowledgeable in their field. The property is maintained and is clean. Parking was hard to find due to the amount of people staying here which just goes to show they are a highly sought out hotel.

We had a great stay at the Best Western Plus Bellingham. Right off the bat, the front desk agent was able to switch us to a room by the elevator, which is close to the handicap parking - very convenient for a member of our party with mobility issues. Their hot continental breakfast is small but mighty, with different hot food items - biscuits and gravy one day and bacon and potatoes the next. They even have a fancy coffee machine that made a good mocha! I was surprised at the variety of their offerings. The staff working the breakfast area was particularly friendly and cheerful. Rooms were ample size with comfortable beds and a nice clean bathroom. The mini fridge was big enough to store all of our farmer's market hauls to take home with us. We'll definitely be back!

Stayed one night before flight. Staff very friendly and room very clean. Checked in at 6 pm and light food was being served in lobby, soup, buns coffee. Breakfast was good with a lots of options including hot foods (eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal ). We were able to leave car for 3 nights while on our trip for $9 per night. 24hr airport shuttle for 5min ride to Bellingham Airport.

Just came back from a five star resort and had better more attentive service at this Best Western. Warm cookies, free popcorn, continental breakfast and comfy beds close to everything but quiet and peaceful.

As others have noted, BW Plus near the Bellingham airport is fantastic. On all points - friendliness, accommodation, cleanliness, value - this hotel scores highly. I was very satisfied with my stay, and I thank them for it.

The staff are all friendly & helpful. The rooms are clean & have all that is needed. The public areas, especially the restroom, is kept immaculate; I personally love the smell of bleach in a bathroom…I know it's clean! The breakfast is unbelievable. They have so many options, including protein, as well as almond milk etc. There is plenty of parking & it is well located just off the highway & close to the mall.

Hotel staff exceed expectation with excellent customer service. Even the janitor waved and nodded. The lobby and layout provide comfort and relaxation. Rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. Even the housekeepers seem genuinely happy in their employment and also exude that overall “glad you are here” appeal. This motel is one of my top choices.

The Rooms are comfortable and warm. The staff friendly and helpful. The stay at the B.W. was wonderful. We sleep well and had a wonderful warm breakfast in the morning with hot steaming coffee. It was perfect.

Lovely hotel, staff, beds and lot of free parking. Absolutely the BEST complimentary breakfast ever!! The selection was huge with items I've never seen before in a hotel breakfast. Attendant Jay was most accommodating checking to make sure I knew where things were and if I was ok. The eating area was large and comfortable and clean. Can't rave enough!! Thank you so much.

stayed here when transitioning between residences. Check in went smooth and friendly. Breakfast was great! Odd compliment but the parking lot and entries to the building are great. Feels like no matter where you park you're not all that far from a door.

We stayed at bw plus for my boyfriend's bday get away and it didnt disappoint. The free breakfast was great, ample supply of food, hot or cold selection, bacon + sausage egg omelettes and fresh coffee. Breads and spreads all in a homey feel open set up. Room was sanitized and the bed fresh smelling sheets, fridge, microwave working great. They accomodated my request and demand immediately which is a plus. Free parking and the location is near to all the places we wanted to go to. You will really feel welcome at the reception unlike some hotels which makes you feel rushed and all business. All in all this is my new favorite hotel whenever i cross the border.

Had a great stay. Drove up to Bellingham for a playoff football game. Had 4 people in the room. Had stayed here previously in February. Comfortable clean beds, nice staff, great breakfast. Would stay here again.

We booked the Best Western Plus when flying to Las Vegas for a week's holiday and 'were delighted with our experience in this hotel. The location is so close to the Bellingham Airport, and the free shuttle service and optional parking package ($40/week) is an added bonus. Lewis at the front desk is an incredible asset to the hotel with his friendly/knowledgeable abilities. We departed very early morning for our flight and Lewis immediately offered a takeaway breakfast with numerous choices provided. Coffees and lattes are free to hotel guests, and the included fresh-baked white chocolate cookies were terrific! Our main floor room was impeccably clean, the free shuttle to the airport and the optional parking package ($40/7 days) were all so convenient. Lewis recommended a nearby restaurant (Mykonos, about 100 meters away, that was bang on with quality food, drink and service). Enjoy.

The staff was amazing from the time I checked in to the time I checked out. I watched how they interacted with other guests. I appreciated how they made everyone feel like they were at home. I would go back and stay here again.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great - lots of variety. Even had appies between 5:00 and 7:00 pm. Last night they had soup and delicious dinner rolls. Gave us popcorn to pop in our microwave - a nice touch!

Best Western Plus-is the place to stay in Bellingham. Close to the amenities, quite quiet considering how close it is to the freeway and the airport. Nice assortment of breakfast items and vey good, friendly service.

Recently stayed at this property. We hadn't been there since covid began. The hotel remains in good condition , rooms are in great shape,ammeities all function well. The staff is still friendly and welcoming. The only difference is the price of a stay has dramatically increased over the past two years. Still a convenient place to stay.

Very nice property and the parking bundle free shuttle to airport was a very pleasant surprise. My departure was too early for the breakfast but was able to grab a banana and a yogurt. Will use again in the future.

Everything was top notch at this hotel. It looked like it recently been renovated even. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly. We needed to check in early because we were going to a wedding. And they accommodated us. The room had a wonderful king bed in it. The breakfast was super with all kinds of hot food egg several way bacon sausage several ways all kinds of cold cereal and juice. You can't say enough good about this hotel

We travel to Bellingham once a year to visit our son who lives there. We started staying at this location when it had changed ownership and was remodeled and have enjoyed our stay there over the past seven years.

Selected hotel due to location of airport, glad we did. Free shuttle service to and from hotel, we were picked up by Alebri (hope I did it butchered her name) around 11:30 pm Ann's she was supper peppy. Beds are comfy, strong AC, LOVE the amenities, delicious breakfast form waffles, yogurt, sausage, muffins, oatmeal etc. The Latina house keeper working on the 4th floor was super nice and welcoming. Stayed 1 night as we were driving to Vancouver, morning after, GM Dana, drive us to airport. Overall, highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

100% top notch customer service. Our organization worked with Carolyn in Sales for a room block at the BW Plus in Bellingham. I cannot say enough how streamlined and efficient the process worked. The check-in was simple. I forgot toothpaste and they had individual packets available at the front desk for the forgetful travelers. The reception and lobby area is large enough for small groups to congregate for breakfast or pass time. Do you like Nutella? They have it at the breakfast bar to go with your waffles! Highly recommend the BW Plus in Bellingham if you are passing through.

Hotel was clean, staff courteous, pool area nice to hang out - bbq grill, had a fire wall. Breakfast was nice, waffles, oatmeal, pastries - eggs, potatoes - didn't have bacon, but sausage and polska smoked sausage,- pillows where great to sleep on.

Close to freeway, yet quiet. We stay here often. Extremely clean, very friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast selections. This is our first choice for a stay in Bellingham, would only stay elsewhere if there were no availability here.

Great staff. Best breakfast bar with espresso machine, real fruit, and sprinkles for you waffle. Pool and gym were added bonuses. This was a super place to unwind while visiting a relative in Bellingham.

Our overall experience was at Best Western was terrific. The rooms were nice and clean, the staff were professional and accommendating. The breakfast had quite a variety and was delicious. Thank you again and I'll be back.

My mom and I both had a wonderful experience with the staff and nice clean rooms. Welcomed with a warm friendly smile and checked out with the same and an awesome nights sleep and high quality and very tasty breakfast in the middle.

Exactly what you want when you're away from home; clean, comfortable, accommodations at a fair price. The front desk staff was professional and pleasant, my room was clean and ready on time (thank you for the early check-in!), and the free breakfast was yummy. I even had time to grab a workout in the gym. It was the most well-equipped gym I've ever seen in a hotel. Thank you Best Western!

The absolute perfect place to stay when visiting Bellingham! The proximity to the airport couldn't be better. The staff is extremely accommodating and always greets you with a smile. Although the breakfast was small, it offered wonderful choices and the food tasted great. My kids also loved the 24 hr coffee machine that also served hot chocolate. By far, the best perk was the shuttle where the staff not only provided a trip from the airport, but also took us to several places nearby. This allowed us to really experience some beautiful local areas. One of the best places I've stayed while traveling!

I always plan to stay here on the way to and from visits with my daughter in British Columbia. I gas up at nearby Costco and enjoy a delicious meal at Mykonos next door. Although I miss easier access to charming downtown Bellingham, it's a convenient stop along my route on I-5.

We stayed here to catch a flight but we were amazed by the friendly staff, good breakfast, clean rooms, fitness centre and pool. We did the park and fly while we were on vacation and we will definitely do it again!

Very convenient, shuttle goes every half hour starting at 5am until midnight. Extremely pleasant staff and the best comp breakfast we have experienced. It is an older property but very clean and our room was well maintained.

We stayed for a night on a recent road trip. The hotel is great. Friendly staff, well maintained, and is nice esthetically. The room we had (2 queens) was a tad tight but I liked the layout. We didn't get a chance to use the outdoor pool. Wi-fi was strong. Breakfast was good with many options. It's right off a major road but there was no noise in the building, and even minimal outside.

I came back to my hometown to see friends in beautiful Bellingham. This was an older room, but had comfortable and clean rooms and a wonderful staff. It was situated near the airport and freeway but we heard none of the noise! It took no time at all to get to anywhere we wanted get to. The free breakfast was phenomenol and the coffee bar was fantastic and available 24/7. Park your electric car and charge it too. My daughter and I had a wonderful stay and will be coming back again several times this summer. You should too.

I had to stay an extra night due to poor weather conditions. They made it very easy to extend my stay without issues. Overall a great experience and will probably be staying here next time I travel around.

Very nice hotel and breakfast. Comfortable king bed and lots of storage space. Clean workout faculties and kitchen area. Close to Airport and good access to the freeway. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was best from Best Western this year.

Very solid hotel room. Comfy, quiet, and cozy. Very reasonable for the money. Parking was a pain but overall I would still give this a high rating for the overall experience. I didn't have breakfast because of my schedule but it looked to be pretty good for no additional charge which lots of other hotels do.

Went to Bellingham to see my daughter at Western Washington University and wished I did not stay here. Have stayed at other places before and will stay with them or try other places but this place again.

We found the rooms very delightful and our king sized bed very comfortable. Staff were excellent and very friendly. The hotel was very clean and new. We had a small pet and a truck towing a boat so we had various needs that they addressed We were comfortable and everything was safe.

I needed a place to stay while waiting for a PCR test to return to Canada. The Best Western was clean and close to the freeway to get me to the border quickly and home. The check in staff were efficient and friendly.

The BW plus in Bellingham is conveniently located 5 minutes from the airport, and practically next door to a good Greek restaurant (Mykonos). The staff is very friendly and helpful, and will shuttle you to and from the airport at any hour of the day. Clean room, good to go breakfast for the plane. They have a reasonable park and fly plan, also.

I originally planned to only stay a week, but decided to stay longer while I looked for a more permanent stay elsewhere. The hotel management was willing to work with me on a more affordable monthly rate. My first floor accommodations in that first week were great! Loved the size of the room ("business king size") and bathroom shower stall was new(er) with tile and sliding glass door. It was right across from the gym, which was incredibly handy for 5am workouts. After they moved me to the 2nd floor for more privacy, but the room seemed not as inviting as before and the bathroom was smaller and more outdated with a shower curtain and tub. Still, decent room for the cost. The biggest drawback for me on the experience was the one washer and one dryer they had for the entire hotel. It was a hit or miss on doing laundry, often having to go late at night or early morning. The highlight was breakfast, with Ruthie serving food, a smile, and waffle making tips. Thank you to her and the entire staff for a great, welcoming place to stay!

I was turned around at the canadian border and had to spend an extra night waiting for a Covid test result. I spent 1 night outside the hotel in the freezing 16 degree weather, which is the Canadian Border Patrol's rule about keeping their own citizen's out in the cold. Anyway, this hotel has the nicest employees who sympathized with me by offering their lobby and restroom when I was without money to pay for a room. I was then able to come in and warm myself without feeling like a homeless burdensome person in their parking lot. My daughter who learned I was out in the cold was able to pay for a room the next night. They turned a bad situation into a pleasant one. I'd definitely stay there again in a better situation.

We loved the rooms. Pet friendly. Staff very helpful and sweet and the breakfast was the best we have had at a hotel or motel. Would stay again. We had two rooms and they were very clean and we had no issue with any thing

The plus at the end of best western, goes a long way. The hotels are very clean and very updated and almost fancy. The rooms are luxurious, with very comfortable beds. The rooms black out nicely for day time sleeping. The breakfast and coffee was pretty good as well. There was a nice Greek restaurant about a block and a half away (Mykonos) it was very good as well.

The room was comfortable and clean. Had a frig and microwave. The only staff I interacted with was the front desk. Their service was outstanding. They were friendly, knowledgeable, professional and well trained. Breakfast is complimentary and includes a hot option.

Obviously it's been almost 2 yrs since we could freely drive into the US and have access to Bellingham airport. BW Plus is very well located and make one feel welcome. The hotel has been rebranded since our last stay. Make sure you check Google map for the location and new brand BW Plus at this location. It's an older property but has been upgraded and quite good value. We will be using it on our return.

Online booking, preregistration and actual check--in were quick. The room was attractive and neat and clean; except the bathroom was too small, lacked towel racks and the toilet was too low for most people. Single serve coffee maker in the room. Basically, no noise from inside or outside. Lots of parking. The buffet breakfast was very good although the warm selections were limited to scrambled eggs, Belgium waffle (best hotel buffet waffle I've had) and link sausage, sausage patty and/or bacon. Well equipped exercise room. Outdoor pool. Check-out was quick and friendly. In fact, all staff encounters were friendly. Easy off/on to I-5. Quick drive to most main Bellingham areas. Very close to airport.

From the check in to the check out my stay exceeded all expectations. The room size was larger than most and the bed was very comfortable. The Hotel overall was the cleanest I have ever stayed in. Staff was friendly and helpful at all times.

Nice place, very clean, given a voucher for breakfast at a cute place across the street. The only drawback was that it does not have an elevator. Fortunately we were able to get a ground floor room, as we have mobility issues.

This was our second time staying at this Best Western. We find that it's convenient for visiting Bellingham, less than 10 mins from downtown with easy access via I-5 or back roads. On this stay, the hotel was fully booked (probably for the Bellingham Marathon), but we still had good service at the front desk and at breakfast. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was well-stocked, with fresh hot coffee that tasted better than most hotel coffee. I appreciate that they have dog friendly rooms on the first level, so it was easy to take her out for a quick walk. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

The amazing staff at this location makes up for anything. They are helpful and Welcoming. Just ask. The hotel is a great location closer to costco and fred meyer. Only 15mins walk away. There is bus ($1) that ride by the hotel that can get you to the shopping centers and food. The hotel has great hot breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles) tea and coffee is available all day

Clean, modern, large room with big updated shower, very comfortable. Nice large beds and tv with a variety of channels that worked! Great breakfast variety, attentive staff, clean lobby and halls, will stay here again!

Great hot breakfast buffet style. Enjoyed the pool (and hot tub at other locations). The rewards program was definitely worth it since we were travelling across country and stayed at the BW's exclusively because of the pet friendly room availability. Parking was always a breeze as we were towing some large and lengthy vehicles. Rooms were always comfortable with ample space, clean and super comfy beds. Enjoyable stays at all of them from coast to coast.

Stayed three nights here. Our priorities are cleanliness and comfort, and this hotel didn't disappoint. Very comfy beds, pleasant and professional staff, very clean room and common areas. Dog friendly with lots of grass and a doggie waste area. Two bonuses were the outdoor pool and complimentary hot breakfast, which was plentiful with many choices. The hotel is also in a great location with Costco and Fred Meyer just across the way and a Cruizin' Coffee stand within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

I travel a lot for work and somehow for the past year and a half hotels have been getting away with charging full price and then not providing any amenities “for safety, due to covid.” It was such a relief to actually have a hot breakfast and see the swimming pool open. I will happily pay hotels that provide amenities for their guests, otherwise what's the point. The rooms were clean and the TV is huge.

This was not the first time I was asked to leave because the maintenance man was judging me he also asked me to leave when I was smoking by the dumpster and he even walked up to my boyfriend who wasn't even able to get out of his car before being told this parking lot was ment for guests only when he was registered as well

Excellent hotel. Very comfy bed. The best on site gym I've seen. All staff very friendly and helpful. Easy parking. Very good breakfast. One day had sausage the next had spicy fried potatoes. The cons: low flow water in the sink (the shower, oddly, was normal) and the toilet had such low flow it was hard to flush properly. I had requested extra towels and never got any. Too tired to nag about it, just reused one the next day.

The hotel was nice, room as not very spacious however was nice. Beds were soft for those who like that. I prefer a firmer bed. Pool was outdoors and nice, a bit small but it accomodated the teams well. Breakfast could be have been really good but every time we went down to have it, it was out and not being refilled. Two baseball teams were staying there and they did not plan for those teams at all. The hotel is located right off the highway and close to grocery stores and many food places. Overall it was a nice stay, staff was mostly friendly. The gal at check in was very overwhelmed with the amount of people needing to check in and became a bit irritated with guests. I would go back and stay again in different circumstances.

Pet friendly rooms have hard mattresses with plastic covering them. We stayed a week and slept horribly. The hot breakfast area needs more staff, the hot food trays were empty a lot, especially between 9-10am and we had to keep asking for every hot item to be refilled. Some mornings the only hot foods available were sausages. Only got eggs on 3-4 mornings out of the 7 nights we stayed. The regular rooms have foam topper mattress covers and they are comfortable. My mom had a regular room (not pet friendly) and she slept great.

Mel- Thank you for staying with us and we appreciate your feedback. Our mattresses are the same in all rooms, pet or not. All rooms have a Serta Eurotop mattress, top of the line for Best Western hotels. It appears the mattress in your room was not in good order and we have taken that room out of order until further inspection is done. In the future, please do not hesitate to contact our Guest Services team if you are not sleeping comfortably, so we can find another room for you. We want to assure you we do not treat pet rooms any differently then non pet rooms, besides the extra cleaning done in the pet rooms. All rooms have the same amenities in them, regardless of pet or non pet. Temporarily, some rooms, both pet and non pet, have different top sheets as we are awaiting our new order. In regards to breakfast, we are working with a short staff as is an issue nationwide. We will work with the team further to ensure items are staying properly restocked in a timely matter. We had a good experience at this hotel for our 2-night stay. Nice location close to I-5, which allows quick access to Bellingham. There was also a Costco nearby with the best gas prices in the area. Our room was clean and comfortable although the shower has a loud and annoying whistle to it. The hotel had a decent fitness room and offered an average American hotel type breakfast. The housekeeping staff was responsive and pleasant. All in all, a good value and a decent place to stay.

This is my 3rd time staying here. The rooms are very clean and nicely furnished. Comfy beds. Breakfast is almost back to pre-covid. I've found the rooms near the end tend to have noise coming from the bathroom vent - sounds like HVAC fans. But closing the bathroom door is enough to quieten. Love the 2 layer roller blind system instead of curtains and the window actually opens for fresh air.

upon arrival staff was very friendly and room was clean and we felt comfortable with security of our car and personal belongings . Check out was easy .Thankyou to all the staff from front desk to those who clean the rooms .

This was an impromptu visit because of a sudden change in our plans. Even though it was a very busy weekend, when we arrived without reservations, we were lucky to be able to benefit from last minute cancellations. The staff were friendly throughout and so helpful with all our requests (free water bottles - we arrived during a historic heat wave; complimentary toothbrushes and toothpaste - since it was an impromptu visit, we didn't have those with us; complimentary aspirin). The room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast were delicious.

I have stayed at the BW Bellingham Heritage and the Airport within 3 weeks of one another in June of 2021. I can say I do like the Airport option best. Nice hotel. More open with the pool, fitness center, good service. Both are clean and nice but the Heritage has stair entry and is harder to get into than the Airport hotel.

This hotel is a delightful place and the staff was incredibly friendly, hard-working, and helpful. Breakfast was a real plus (did not expect it to be included!) and the pool so refreshing on a very hot day. It is outside of Bellingham itself, but easy striking distance to downtown.

If your familar with Bellingham, this hotel used to be the Hampton Inn. It switched to a BW about two years ago. The hotel is clean and convenient to restaurants, shopping, the airport and Interstate 5. There is a Frey Meyer and Costco very close by. Enjoyed the coffee and tea bar, but did not partake in the morning breakfast.

Great value, great service. They pay attention to details with a really positive attitude. Rooms are very clean. They have a very strong Covid guide lines in place. Stay here frequently and will stay here again. They are very consistent

This hotel is our go to place when visiting the kids! Best staff around. Front desk staff very professional and friendly. Rooms are extremely clean .. great attention to detail. And the pool!!! That is AMAZING and we always enjoy ourselves!!!

We used this a launching point for Mt. Baker and were pleasantly surprised at the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the hotel and parking lot and overall quality of our stay, especially for two queen beds under $90/night. Will definitely stay here again.

While staying at this hotel 17 Feb 21, I suffered a heart attack in the middle of the night. The front desk staff, especially Laura Montoya, all went the extra measure to make sure my bags left in the room were safeguarded, and that a travel kit I left in the bathroom was returned to me. I was so impressed by their concern and assistance, that I booked a return stay at this great hotel for a month later. Hopefully this time I can get a good night's sleep, but if I don't, it won't be because of their great efforts!

I have lots of family in the area, so come often. Top marks for cleanliness and accomodating staff. Best part, though, is how at-home I feel here. My room is so cozy, and the bed is really comfortable. Big bonus is how they fuss over my dog, Posey. I'll be back!

I stayed here one night while my power was out at home for days... The staff was friendly, everything was nice and clean and they accept dogs! The only downside was the noise from the freeway. I would recommend asking for a room on the West side of the hotel (away from the freeway). Still, I would stay there again!

I had to travel to Bellingham to escort my elderly mother to some appointments. I found the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The COVID protocols in place made me feel safe with hand sanitizers everywhere, social distancing rules and masks required everywhere. Brown bag breakfast choices were good and room was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Very clean property and room. Free beverages anytime. Many options for pre-packaged free breakfast. Very courteous and accommodating staff. There is no switch for the bathroom fan, though the vent is there. The bed is kinda soft, but I didn't get a backache.

I was extremely impressed with everyone I encountered at this location, from the shuttle drivers up to the manager on duty (who graciously interrupted his lunch break to help check me in. I'm not trying to be facetious--he was on a well-deserved break and came out to help, anyway). The staff was extremely kind, professional and accommodating, and I appreciated it greatly. Loved their breakfast choices, too! This is my go-to hotel in Bellingham.

Fast internet, neat snack bar counter self service area by front desk. Large drink selection in vending machine, Bangs, Tazo Teas, Sparkling Ice, and reg sodas and fruit juices. HUGE PILLOWS ON BED, 5x king size pillows. Bed said queen but was size of king IMO. Rolling desk in room great for using bedside for laying out packed items. No complaints. Even soap was crazy nice and smelled great!

This Best Western property is exceptional! My wife and I stayed five nights, and our room was excellent. The entire staff was extremely professional, courteous, and very accommodating. From check in to check out, everything was seamless. They have a grab and go breakfast that is available with a menu that you choose from the night before, and in the morning it is ready. The room, the interior of the hotel, and the outside of the property is extremely clean. The entire staff of the hotel adheres to the Covid-19 policies.

this was my 2nd time staying at this hotel and both times were very good. Everything is spotlessly clean, room decor is comfortable, very good bed & bathroom linens. Love the angled mirror in the bathroom as well as 2 full length mirrors. USB ports on the bedroom clock and lamp. Window opens to get fresh air, love the privacy and black out blinds instead of curtains, not too much highway noise, and no transients in the area. This hotel has become my first choice in Bellingham hotels

This Best Western became a second home for us during our housing search in summer 2020. Out of all the hotels we stayed at in Bellingham this was by far the best. They have/had a genuinely warm and welcoming staff. Their Covid-19 safety protocols beat many of the more pricier hotels in town-- excellently clean and felt very safe here! They still managed to serve breakfast by creating customized food bags prepped for you in the morning, while many of their competitors simply removed it all together. A hotel like this should be in the city's center, but it's still an easy drive to many things in town like the Mall, grocery stores, and downtown. We also stayed at the other Best Western in town near Cordata Plaza and was surprised that it wasn't nearly as welcoming and nice as this one. It proved to us that there was something special about the team and management of the Best Western Plus. They are phenomenal. I wish them all the more success and look forward to staying there again soon! They've made a Best Western fan out of me and my family.

I had high expectations for this hotel based on other reviews and was not disappointed at all. From the welcoming front desk clerks to the renovated and nicely decorated rooms, it was a pleasure to stay there. Being close to the highway, there were some muffled sounds of traffic. Would advise staying on the back side, however, there are often semi's and other trucks parked in the lot and they can roll in and out at various times. This hotel did everything right to stay clean and healthy regarding social distancing plus closing the breakfast buffet but offering "bagged breakfasts" and always hot coffee. The beds were extremely comfortable, the amenities in-room superb with good and plentiful LED lighting. The WiFi worked well and it was easy to connect. The black-out blinds are great but if facing east, the sun hit and reflected on the exposed metal brackets and glowed on the wall facing the bed. It was an unexpected wake-up @ 5 a.m. but a little duct tape fixed the issue. The staff was quick to do anything within their ability to make the guest's stay pleasant.

We have medical trips to Bellingham, so have sampled different properties. This is a newer BWP acquisition, and it will be a favourite. Convenient, and despite proximity to the I5, remarkably quiet. Staff were absolutely tops. Couldn't do enough for us. Thanks. We'll be back.

My first time staying at this hotel and I will return. Location is easy access to the I5. It's a large hotel and has many rooms which are not facing the freeway, but amazingly there is no freeway noise at all. The hotel is very clean and nice decor, 2 elevators which are quick. Here's what I liked about the room: no curtains but 2 sets of roller shades one of which was a black out, heat set by wall thermostat, large fridge with separate top freezer, safe in the closet, citrus scented toiletries, mirror mounted on bathroom door. The negatives for which I deducted 1 star were: pillows while a choice of soft and medium were still too firm for my liking as I love feathered, heater was a little noisy, shower head was high and a little difficult for a short person to reach. Overall a very nice stay.

Stayed here on the weekend of february 2nd, 2020 and left feb 3rd, 2020. We were given room 131 (I am stating this not only as part of my documentation, but for you to avoid) The AC in this room is broken. We had it at 66*F and we were hot all night. Travelled with a 3yr old and 9yr old, so moving rooms or getting someone in the room at 2am was not an option. Neither would opening the window at that time of night. Heat was still going in the morning when we left for breakfast.. the AC cold finally kicked in at around 845am and made a terrible noise. Took a pic of the pooling water that condensed and collected on top of the AC (physics would dictate the warm air would condense near the cold window) and the AC obviously didn't draw any moisture out of the air. Check in staff member was excellent. Room was clean. Breakfast is standard fair.. so don't hold your breath

We spent a night here. Pay and park. Great location/shuttle to and from airport. Wonderful staff/ great rooms/great breakfast/ very clean. I highly recommend this motel. Thank you Laura for everything you did. We will definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at this hotel several times. Initially because of the location.. Reality is this not only has a great location, it has amazing front desk staff and all other employees are very congenial. The rooms are always clean and well appointed. All amenities are current and function well. Linens are always nice and the beds comfortable. Good provided breakfast with several choices , attractively laid out and fresh. Value for the dollar is exceptional. Stay here you won't be disappointed.

Obviously far away from town and the university, this is not the first choice for most. But it is actually quite a good hotel. High-quality stay and reasonable price. Lots of parking, Despite being at the Airport it isn't very noisy. If you have a car to get around it's not that bad. Good breakfast, good beds and mattresses. I'd stay there again. They had an electric car charging station too to charge my car overnight at no cost. Great service.

How refreshing to stay at a hotel where the staff genuinely care about the guests! Pleasant friendly check in and a smiling friendly face is a welcome sight on a cold snowy evening. The king room was exceptional with a nice work station built into a closet assemble that had the largest security safe that I have ever seen into which you can fit anything. Comfy king size bed, nice TV and refrigerator. Very quiet room at the rear on the 3rd floor. The housekeeping was exceptional over our three day stay! Immaculate room and bathroom. Plus if you passed a housekeeper en route to the lobby you were always acknowledged with a smile and a good morning greeting. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choices and the lady running the breakfast area very accommodating. Plenty of safe parking for your vehicle. Not often today can you frequent a hotel and find everything running smoothly and leave with out a single complaint. The management of this hotel know their business and it shows in every aspect of the daily operation. An excellent choice if in Bellingham and we intend to return in the near future. Certainly deserving of a FIVE star rating.

Well appointed and clean property. Did not have breakfast there but it looked like good fresh choices were available. Coffee in lobby area morning and night with cookies. Made most welcome when we checked in. Bed very comfortable and room well appointed. Excellent value and easy to find off I-5

Good location, close to airport, Costco and many other shopping choices. Right off I-5 but not noisy at all. This is not a new property and in my opinion could still use some more renovations/updating to match other BW Plus properties. However it was clean and comfortable and would stay again. Full breakfast although did not make use of it this visit. Very nice shower but did not have a tub so make sure if this is something you want to double check that the room you are booking has one. Front desk staff make check-in extremely quick and easy which I very much appreciated after a long day of travel.

This is hotel is clean, quiet and friendly. The included breakfast had a good selection of drinks and food. It had hot scrambled eggs, sliced cooked sausage, fresh you make them waffles, peeled hard boiled eggs. The yogurt and fruit cups were excellent too.

This is definitely one of the best places I've stayed at. The front desk is so nice and the accommodations the best. Outdoor seasonal pool - we didn't use it, so it's fine. Amenities galore - cookies at night, light snack, breakfast thru 10am daily, bananas/apples/coffee/tea/hot cocoa available in lobby. And, to top it off? We booked through a 3rd party and they messed up severely (advertised a room that didn't exist). I was on the phone with them almost 4 hours without resolution. Kayla and her manager really saved us. We were on an after the holiday vacation to de-stress and it wasn't looking good. They both bent over backwards to help and they did. We resolved the matter at the expense of the hotel. (I'm so sorry for that.) I gave it to Priceline and will always book directly now with Best Western. We are long time loyal members but for whatever stupid reason didn't book directly. Never again. Thank you, Best Western. You have a loyal customer now. We are at a 4 star hotel right now. Everything is going fine, but we really miss the hospitality at BW Plus. Happy holidays!

Very clean, staff very friendly. Breakfast included. Can leave car for minimal charge which was great to shuttle to the door of airport. Great restaurant within walking distance to hotel Great way to start your holiday when flying out of Bellingham. Will definitelk stay again.

The glaring problem was in early morning wakeup:: the alarm clock in the room, which I did not touch, went off way b efore my wakeup time - it had not the night before. The second significant problem was the wake up call came 20 minutes before the time requested, further cutting down on precious sleep. The desk clerk said a perfunctory 'Sorry' but that is the only response from the hotel. The shower curtain is way too short as water flooded the floor no matter how carefully the shower head was aimed toward the wall. The room itself, was lovely. Breakfast good. Would I stay again? Only if I needed to use the airport; city center is a long drive away, as is everything else.

We can understand fully how that can be disturbing to your sleep. We will emphasize with our team during standup today how the alarm clock must be checked during cleaning. In addition, we will discuss the wake up call issue with the front desk, and to be verifying further when guests call in for a wake up call. Although we are just ten minutes from the downtown area, we are also only a few minutes from the Bellis Fair Mall and all the shopping on the Meridian corridor. But, if you do want to go downtown, we can drive you in our complimentary shuttle, which also serves the historic Fairhaven district. This shuttle is available daily from 4:30am-12 midnight. If your in need of a great place to stay when visiting Bellingham or travelling through or waiting to catch a flight, this is the place. The staff and the amenities cannot be beat. It is close to the airport and has a shuttle to fit your needs. It is close to the highway and an on/off ramp on the interstate. If its shopping you want its a very very very short drive to all the stores you can handle. best of all the price is right and if you have the BW app there are often discounts. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Found myself needing to book this last-minute, and was quite thrilled with the extent to which the team bent over backward to make it an excellent stay. After some rough travels prior - including sleepless nights - it was a nice touch that they held breakfast over so that I could eat before catching up on some rest and work, among other things.

Overall is good for short stay, good location, close to airport and Costco，clean and feel safe. All staffs are friendly and nice, free airport shuttle. One thing I don't like is the bed is not firm, we prefer firmer bed.

Clean, spacious, up to date room. Great breakfast and huge fitness center with modern equipment. Plenty of parking. But best of all, friendly and efficient staff throughout the hotel. Will be back next week and looking forward to it!

Stayed here Black Friday night checked out Saturday.......very friendly staff, nice clean updated lobby, hallways etc. Room was clean and updated bed comfy, room faced the I-5 but did not hear noise from that, only thing that bothered me and it wasnt a big deal was that the heating unit in the room was pretty noisy when it kicked on. Breakfast was excellent. Will stay again for sure

I enjoy staying at this hotel. Close to the airport and convenient to shopping. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They offer a air port shuttle and car parking service while you are traveling. On our stay last year we returned from a flight in snowy weather. We arrived to a warm and welcoming staff, hot beverages and were given a snow -ice scraper to clear our windshield. Overall I have traveled a great deal. This can easily be my favorite hotel in this area.

We had a very comfortable stay. The comforter on the bed was perfect -- not the down thick comforter that gets too hot, but this is the cotton light weight one that is just perfect. Staff was all VERY nice and always had smiles and greetings. We will be back.

Hotel is very handy to other areas in Bellingham and easy to locate. It was quiet and very well maintained as well as upgraded. Very nice. Excellent free breakfast in a nice eating area with lots of variety and plenty to eat. Staff excellent. Would stay again if the need arose.

Nice hotel, easy freeway access and even though it's a little far away, it's still close enough! The beds were comfortable, fridge and microwave in room. Bathroom was big enough. No complaints except not that much extra space. Staff were friendly and the breakfast looked good. I'm vegan so I only ate some fruit (like a banana because I also am allergic to honeydew and that was in the other fruit offering). Would stay again.

We are close to Bellis Fair Mall and Costco and we are the only hotel that has shuttle service to the local casino. The wife and I stayed here over the weekend and it was a really good choice. The service was amazing and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good better than most hotel meals, and the coffee was excellent as well. Parking was easy and we had no problems finding a spot to fit our tundra. The only downside was they didn't have a hot tub. Thanks for the great weekend

When travelling through on business, when I need to be in the area, I try to always stay at this hotel. Staff are excellent, friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean and well appointed. All amenities are current and function well. Beds are clean and comfortable with good linens and pillows. Breakfast supplied has all you would need. Fresh and well displayed. Lots of parking for larger vehicles.

Great place to stay if heading off to the airport for an early morning flight. Left our vehicle park while in LV and stayed both coming and going. Coffee was appreciated in the morning of departure :)

We only stayed overnight while in town on business. Our check-in was quick and the service we received from the employee on shift was better than any experience I've had in the past with any hotel. The room was clean and inviting and breakfast allowed for many dietary options. The entire team at this location is awesome.

We were on a 10 day holiday, our last night before entering back into Canada was at this property. We will definitely be back. When kids tell you It was one of the nicest rooms they stayed in then you know it's good.

We stayed here for one night before our trip. Really love this hotel. We normally stay at a more expensive hotel near the mall but no more. This place is really cute, new and comfortable. Great lobby with all you need. Nice art work throughout the hotel that catches your eye. Staff was really lovely and friendly. Great breakfast and shuttle service.

The bed was super cozy and breakfast was abundant and YUMMY. LOVE the 24-hour coffee bar. They had a sign for a social and snack at 5pm in the lobby. We had an event to attend but I love that they have this option!

Our daughter booked this room for us, so we didn't have any prior knowledge. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was great. We also enjoyed the continental breakfast. We will certainly stay again while in Bellingham.

Check-in was a nightmare with a hockey team taking precedence over us, the reservation was messed up with a king instead of two queens, the rollaway they offered threw my back out, and it was a very noisy heavy traffic location for our room - hence, no sleep!

Best Western has really stepped up their game in the hotel business. I have been staying at their hotels in the Western U.S. and Canada for the last couple of years and they have become my first choice when I go looking for travel accommodations. Exceptionally clean, comfortable, easy access, and great customer service. They now have BW Executive Residences as well (Calgary) which is an exceptional hotel. I hope they build more of these.

Excellent place. Very clean, plenty of extra towels, blankets, coffee, pillows, soaps and toilet paper stocked in room. Beds very comfortable. Air conditioning worked well to maintain temperature. Nice and quiet during stay.

We were so comfortable during our one night stay. The king sized bed was awesome, with high quality sheets and pillows. Very clean. Nice big flat screen TV. Good furnishings. We loved the window blinds with black out screen. I wish I could give 5 stars, but there were a few hairs in the bathtub,which is an obvious turnoff. The bathroom was quite outdated, and not up the the rest of the rooms standards. Having said that, we would definitely stay here again, and recommend this hotel. Desk clerk was very cheerful and helpful.

I am a little 'gushy' about this property. There is not even one little thing we experienced to cause us not to give a perfect 5/5. Service and hospitality were just perfect at every level. Check in/out was quick and friendly. Room was immaculate and well appointed with very comfy beds and plenty of bath supplies. No excuse for anyone to leave the breakfast room without having a well balanced, good and plenty start to their day. We will stay here again and again. You would never know the airport is as close as it is. These rooms are oh so quiet. Thank you to all who made us feel valued and welcome.

We were double charged for out incidentals as well as a "smoking" charge when no-one in our party smokes and because of respiratory issues cannot even tollerate being in a previously smoked in room. The hotel did reverse the charge when challenged but could offer not explantion of why they made the charge or it basis. I would avoid this property, they clearly do not have their act together.

The hotel is right off of I-5 and across the street is Fred Meyer, Costco and Five Guys. Pretty much all you could need. Daniel at the front desk was friendly and check in was a breeze. Our King room with a couch bed was clean and had a nice bureau/work area. Between the bed, soft pillows and blackout shade our sleep was very good. We all ate the hot breakfast the next morning and there were a lot of options. My kids loved that they could eat cereal AND bacon. The people that were tasked with keeping the food stocked and hot were busy, but they were up to the task. We didn't use the pool or the workout facility, but both looked nice and in working order. If you're looking to stay away from all the hustle and bustle of downtown at about a 10 minute drive, then this is the hotel for you.

Great value. Reasonable distance to anywhere in Bellingham. Large, well-equipped fitness room and nice heated outdoor pool. The decor and comfort of the breakfast area much nicer than comparable hotels.

Really nice, very clean, convenient hotel. The room was exceptionally quiet and we were there with several soccer teams so that was a nice perk. My only negative was the bathroom sink area is small and there isn't much room for hanging towels and such in the bathroom space.

I stayed there for a night with my daughter who will attend WWU in fall. We had a great experience. Super friendly staff. Great room. Beds are pretty new. All clean and friendly and safe. They have a great outdoor pool which I am sure is a plus when it is warm. The breakfast was great but the breakfast area was pretty small and crowded. The best thing of all was that I could charge my Tesla over night for free.

Have stayed here several times now, both before it was a BW Plus and since it's changed over. Have been happy with our stay every time. Staff is amazing - friendly and helpful. The hallways are clean and bright, the rooms clean and spacious with great lighting. In our king room, there was a safe, fridge/microwave, couch with sofabed, chair, desk, and bathroom with an excellent large, glass shower. The TV remote was simple and the easiest remove we've used at a hotel! Breakfast is complimentary and served in the open lobby. Hot and cold items are offered including ready-made omelettes, sausage patties, breakfast empanadas, oatmeal, blueberry waffles, breads/cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit/fruit salad/fruit cups, plus coffee/tea (24 hours), juice/milk. Complimentary bottles of water were given to us at check in and they offer a complimentary snack daily at 5 pm, which we missed. Location is right off the highway, so very convenient. A great hotel.

Dana (the Manager on duty) was amazing! We unfortunately missed our flight to Las Vegas due to an unbelievable 5 hour wait at the Border coming down from Canada. We were flying out of Bellingham Airport. So we required a Hotel overnight as we then had to book a flight for the next evening. This cost me lots of $$$, so obviously we were quite frustrated. Dana was very understanding and assisted as best he could. He was able to find us a room at a reasonable rate and offered us a convenient late checkout for the next day, along with complimentary parking at the Hotel while we are gone for 5 days (with also Free Shuttle to/from Airport)! It definitely helped the sting of missing our Flight. All the staff were great to deal with. The Hotel was very nice and had good amenities and located very close to the Bellingham Airport. Overall, a nice stay under the difficult circumstances. A BIG thank you to Dana and also Laura (the Manager on duty the next day). Both were a pleasure to deal with! : )

Have stayed at this hotel a few times now since it was changed to BW. I haven't been disappointed with anything. Staff are pleasant ant accommodating. The rooms have been well appointed with new or current amenities that have all been functional. Lots of parking for trucks with trailers. Stays include a morning breakfast that has adequate selection , good quality and friendly staff. This hotel is affordable and dollar value for services rendered is excellent.

We stayed at this BW with my son's family. I got two rooms and both were great. The grandkids and my son really enjoyed the pool. The breakfast biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, and bacon plus the rolls and coffee were all great. I would recommend this BW.

This hotel was quiet a bargain. It is either a new property or recently remodeled. Everything was clean and bright. The bed was very comfortable and the room was nicely decorated. They even had a large laminated channel guide for the nice big TV. The bathroom was really nice with this big shower with this quality glass door setup. I WILL be back at this hotel when I return later this month for work in Burlington (25 miles away). It IS worth the extra drive.

We spent one night at this hotel and found the front desk staff very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were nice and comfortable and the location was also very good. My only complaint was that it was a non-smoking hotel and there was a strong smell of people smoking pot as we walked down the hall to our room. Staff did come by and spray/deodorize the hallway which made it better, but if advertised as a non-smoking hotel, the they should not permit people to smoke pot in their rooms.

Great experience at the Best Western @ Bellingham Airport. From the check in, Dana at the front desk was great, personable and truly informative. The room was very comfortable, with both couch and chair, big flat screen TV and all the amenities, micro wave, coffee maker and small fridge with separate freezer compartment. Great bed providing a most comfortable sleep, in addition to how quiet the room was, as well as how the blinds, (as opposed to drapes) really kept the room dark. Breakfast was good, hot foods consisting of scrambled eggs, sausage, oatmeal and make your own waffles along with 3 choices of coffee, assorted juices, toast, bagels, muffins, cereals and choices of fruit and yogurts.

Great location with an attentive staff and shuttle service that will pick you up at the Train, Bus and Airport. Stayed here 19 years ago while is was flagged under Hilton as the Hampton Inn. It has improved greatly and deserves the "Plus" Best Western status.

I had booked what I thought was a 2 queen with sofabed room (their website is very confusing as to what the rooms are like) but when we showed up to check in the nice front desk guy (I'm sorry I didn't get his name!) told us that they can't put a rollaway in the 2 queen rooms (they really are pretty small) so he gave us 2 connecting rooms for the same price! So we had rooms 414 and 416, on the top floor. One was a 2 queen and one was a 1 queen, handicapped accessible room, with a huge bathroom. Both rooms were super clean-I'd walk barefoot on those floors! There was a pretty good breakfast and a clean eating area. We had no road noise at all and the beds were comfortable, giving us pretty good sleep quality. We'd definitely stay again!!

Stayed here overnight whilst shopping in the USA , big hotel, rooms were spacious and clean .. weird smell in the room when we entered ! Fridge and Mini freezer in the room, toiletries in the shower were vegan and cruelty free !! (Happy about that) Free breakfast , standard fare toast bagels cereal , eggs etc can be a little hectic since it's near reception and not a lot of space to wait or move . Reception staff were very nice when we checked in and out .

Sarah at the front desk was amazing. I had an issue with my groupon purchase and she was extremely helpful in getting everything straighten out. It is refreshing to have some that is so accommodating, professional and truly seems to care about that customer. She was all that and more. In addition she greeted us with a smile each time we were coming or going. Also made sure we knew about the fresh baked cookies at 5:00. The hotel was wonderful but Sarah really made our experience there Amazing! Breakfast was great hot items changed daily, the hostess, Tara was very nice and made sure to check with all the guests to see if they wanted anything else before she would clean up.

our first stay was during renos in September and wasnt anything we would have wanted to repeat. Wrote a review and our problems were addressed by the Manager Mr. Weber We decided to give it another try and were thrilled we did. Great rate (Canadian rates help alot), Kayla at the front desk was lovely and the room was very nice and comfortable, especially the bed. Was so happy that breakfast was up and running before 6am as we had a 615 shuttle booked so had time to eat at hotel instead of getting robbed at Scotty Browns :) Shuttle was on time and was at airport within 5 minutes of calling upon our return. Definately highly recommend and will be staying again in September!

Nice and convenient, clean, warm, good complimentary breakfast. Convenient shuttle to Bellingham airport. Also very nice that you can leave your car in their parking lot while you are on vacation. I will stay here again.

This property is nice for the price, but when I took a fall in the hall just adjacent to the lobby (because the tile floor was wet and the warning sign wasn't placed in a helpful spot) the staff did not show concern.

This was by the cleanest place we have stayed in a long time. The staff truly seemed to like their jobs. Everyone smiled at us & were super helpful. We've stayed in a lot of hotels, some expensive, & they were not this clean. The decor was very pleasant & the colors warm. You actually want to stay & spend time in this room!! We didn't eat the breakfast but it's even more reason to stay, breakfast included. The only bummer was the pool was an outdoor one. And I have to admit the beds were too cushy & floppy. But the rooms have good sound proofing. We didn't hear any road or inner hotel noises. No disturbed slee. Highly recommend. It's also super close to freeway & downtown.

I now choose BW Plus when traveling on business because the facilities are up to date, good wifi, and an ample breakfast. This location is easy in and out access, and less than a half mile away are eating options, Costco (Including gas pumps), and other amenities. Very helpful staff, and also very clean.

We love the location of this hotel when we have an early flight. It used to be a Hampton Inn and now a Best Western. They did renovate a bit, the biggest change being that there are no more bathtubs in the bathrooms but the showers are nice and large. Nice rooms, comfortable beds.

My friends and I enjoyed our stay wit this establishment. There was alot of parking. The lobby was very clean and organized. The dining area kept in order along with the breakfast foods. Our room was roomy and their hygiene products were in refillable containers which is a plus for the environment. One problem was the bed, it was high and uncomfortable to move about.

This was not a great experience. Although our room was nice, king bed comfortable, the bathroom was small and there was no bathtub, just a shower. I like a long soak on holiday and would have preferred a bathtub. The breakfast was terrible by normal hotel standards. Nothing was being replenished and there were really no vegan options except for sweets like muffins. No wheat bread, potatoes, non-dairy milk, cooked oatmeal (the instant tasted salty, plus the hot water hadn't been replenished). There were no toppings like raisins, cranberries or walnuts. My husband had scrambled eggs but there was no sliced bread to make toast with. Worst of all, I left my favorite socks (gift from a friend in Australia) under the pillow. Would think it's a simple thing for Housekeeping to find and send. But no! In spite of calling twice, there's been no action on the socks. Any normal hotel would have called by now to say they were found, verified the address, and then sent them. Not this one.

We are sorry you got a room with a shower only. All of our rooms with two queens and most of our rooms with one king have a bathtub. We must admit we are shocked to hear no bread was out, as we stock multiple kinds of breads, English muffins and bagels daily. As for the socks, the socks have not been found. Overall the stay here was okay.The room itself was very well kept once we were roomed into our selected room type appropriately. The only issue that really got to me was the fact there is no vendy machines for food in the hotel (only drinks) and you must purchase all food items from the Front Desk- This was a rip off! I ended up paying $7 for two cliff bars (less than $2 regularly and was charged $3.50 for a single bar). In the morning when I tried to checkout I was told that my bill was a prepaid one and that they would email me a copy of my receipt. I ended up having to call almost a week later (Sunday 2/24) to get a copy of my receipt, all to find that they double charged my card! So then I had to call and have them refund me. overall, the hotel itself is fine. Beds are slightly uncomfortable and give me a plasticy crib bed feeling vibe. Otherwise, the room was comfortable and the staff members we saw were friendly.

We have recently ordered new lower cost food items for our Pantry to be sold to our guests. We are continually monitoring the sales of the pantry as well as guest comments on it to make sure we have the best product available, so thank you for letting us know. Regarding the beds, we are surprised to hear this, so we will make sure to inspect that bed ASAP. All mattresses are 4 months old and top of the line Eurotop from Serta, so if there is one that is defective we will make sure to get that swapped out. WOW! We were really impressed by this hotel. Our airplane was diverted to Bellingham Wa. We came here around midnight and didn't have anything to eat before we got here but the gentleman at the front desk got us some danish and muffins to hold us over until the complimentary breakfast. Best bed we have ever slept in at a hotel! It looks newly remodeled with very nice amenities. And the price was very reasonable too.

No more SeaTac traffic. Flying in and out of Bellingham was so easy and comfortable (even with a 5AM flight). Best Western makes it so easy and affordable. Less paid for a gorgeous room and ride to airport than SeaTac parking, not to mention to horrendous traffic. Bravo, Best Western!

We stayed here last year on our way to vegas.. front desk area clean and nice people but the construction was I think a bit misconstrued as to how much of the hotel was shut down, elevators etc... and should have realized how much the price would go up once it was finished... Had hoped to put up with the gong show and dust and not the cleanest room ever that we could go back once renovations were finished but unfotunately, the price increase (clearly to help pay for the renos) is too much for an updated older hotel, especially for Canadians... wish some of the airport hotels would realize how many Canadians use that airport and offer a deal due to our awful $. Too bad, the parking was also a pretty good deal :(

We do appreciate you staying with us during the renovations and we do understand how messy it was. We did just finish a multi million renovation that has fully transformed the hotel. We have all new furnishings, all new 50" TV's, all new deluxe mattresses and linen, and much more. This year we will be upgrading our lock system to RFID and also purchasing brand energy efficient heating/cooling units for all rooms. While our rates have gone up, they are in line, if not priced below are competitors and in addition, we offer a Canadian Resident Discount that is equal to the price difference between the US and Canadian Dollar. So for example, if the Canadian dollar is $0.75 to the US Dollar, the rate is 25% off. It's based on availability and just ask the front desk for more details. In addition, our extended parking rates at $6 per night, is more than half the cost of the airports parking charge. We sincerely hope to have you stay with us again and we appreciate the comments. I booked over the phone reserved a King with a queen sz pullout bed. Upon arrival we couldn't get into our room, it was locked and we found out someone was in there, (sorry for waking you) the room was double booked, so we were moved to a double queen which is what we preferred anyway. Ran out of TP, front desk brought a roll up right away. The 2nd floor is under construction and was a minor inconvenience. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Late check out 12:00. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, we slept great, Breakfast is good, staff were very friendly & accommodating. I will stay here again.

We stayed here for one night on our way to Las Vegas and even though the hotel is under major renovation the rooms and front desk area was nice and clean. We also paid for parking for 1 week. In the morning the shuttle bus took us off to the airport

I thought this place was close to the airport. It is 5 minutes by shuttle and you might hve to change shuttles. The hotel was once a Hampton Inn and bought out, I suspect, when Hampton decided not to spend the $ on refurb. This place was under extensive construction. The entire 2nd floor was inaccessible, making elevator access from the lobby impossible, requiring a walk outside, around the building, and into a side door, then thru a construction site to an unmarked door to access another set of elevators. I was given a "renovated" room which for $120 all in was not state of the art. Slept OK. Suggestion: if you want to stay here, call ahead to see if construction has completed. If it has, go for it. If you want really close to the airport, consider Holiday Inn, as it is directly across the street.

Although we are not located right at the airport, we are just 1 mile away and have frequent shuttles most of the day. We decided to stay a night in Bellingham before our flight out of Bellingham Airport to avoid the long border lineups and have a place to keep our vehicle. We made the right choice with Hotel Bellingham. We didn't have to be at the airport until 1:30 the following afternoon and they gave us a late checkout to 1:30. Our room was clean and large and well maintained. Even though the hotel was under renovation there were no issues. The breakfast was all that we needed. When we were ready to go to the airport we were taken right away. When we returned we used the free phone at the airport and they were there to pick us up within 8 minutes. Friendly staff. Very attentive. We will recommend this place and definitely stay again.

This Hotel was easy to access off the freeway; friendly staff; comfortable bed and pillows; free airport shuttle; free parking up to 7 days; continental breakfast and many restaurants close by, a Greek one is next door.
