"3 Night Stay"
The location was perfect for me as it was very close to my family that I was visiting. The pricing for the room and the facility was very reasonable and the room was extremely spacious and very clean. Comfortable bed and bedding. I will definitely be staying here again.

"Superb customer service."
I enjoyed every staff member I spoke to. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The area is quiet with plenty of places to get a meal. The access to I-5 and I-205 are straightforward. This is an excellent location and I will stay here again.

"Nice"
Nice clean hotel, well situated, with a good breakfast. Selection of eggs, sausage, and biscuits & gravy, as well as waffles, cold cereal and fruit. Bed was comfortable. Pleasant reception during check-in and a cheerful greeting on departure. Will stay here again on my next trip to Battle Ground.

"Clean and big rooms"
The hotel was very clean. I thought that there had been a recent remodel but not the case. Rooms were big. Pool seemed to be a salt water which is easier on the skin. Parking was ok. Lots of restaurants close by and a grocery store. The big room was critical for us. Staff was very friendly.

"Great room and stay"
Honestly with this being the only hotel in Battle Ground I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. Check-in was very easy and we absolutely loved our room. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and extremely spacious. I also appreciated the refrigerator, microwave and Keurig. We were there on Father's Day weekend so we had brunch plans and didn't take advantage of the continental breakfast, but what we saw looked good. One other nice perk was the automatic espresso machine near the elevator on the first floor; it was nice to be able to grab a mocha or a cappuccino in the afternoon as a pick me up.

Hi MissLuckyB, Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm so pleased that you found us a clean and pleasant place to stay and that our comfortable beds and amenities were to your liking. We take real pride in this hotel and in serving guests like you, and I'm extremely happy that you had such a pleasant stay. We look forward to having you with us again soon.
"Handicap Room"
Handicap Room is not very handicap friendly. The doors are so heavy my elderly parents couldn't open them alone. A bathtub instead of a roll in shower. My Mom couldn't figure out how to turn the bathroom light on. You have to touch the mirror. The room is in the back of the hotel far from the elevator.

"Ants in the room"
Ants in room. Garbage under bed. Hot tub not working. Expedia didn't transfer reservation. Took 2 hours to check in. Worst stay at a Best Western ever. Desk lady was rude and not very competent at her job!

Dear tinam0nterverdi, Your review and rating of our hotel mean a lot to us, and we thank you for taking the time to share this experience. We want to apologize for the bed, tub, and cleanliness issues and to assure you that this inconvenience has been addressed. Fortunately, the pest control experts that we employed to complete the thorough inspection following your complaint is covered no evidence of pests in any of our rooms. However, each room were still treated with a pest heater for precaution. I am also displeased to hear that anyone was treated in a rude or unprofessional manner at this property. I do thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and I assure you that this is not the standard that we hold our staff too. We will be correcting this issue for improved convenience in future visits. I hope you will accept our sincerest apologies and we hope to see you again in the future- we promised a better stay next time.
"Fantastic Experience"
Held a family gathering here & stayed 4 nights. Food, room, staff, pool hot tub etc all excellent. Rates were great too. Can't say anything negative. Recommend you stay here. Great value for your money.

"Hidden Gem"
Exceeded our expectations. Large room, clean, upper tier furniture and amenities. A last minute stay, due to local power outages. Staff went above and beyond to provide a home away from home. And the icing was a top notch breakfast buffet, included in the price.

"Super Stay!!"
Great experience starting with Stephanie at the front desk who was AWESOME who was friendly personal and professional all in one ! She was great in meeting all our needs. Then the room very clean ! Then the opportunity having a mini frige and micro and coffee. The breakfast had many options hot or cold. The hostesses were kind and kept everything tidy.

"Pictures aren't what they seem"
You do not get to pick your theme room. The one I got looked just like the king room with higher ceilings. No special decorations on the wall or different carpet. Not worth the extra price. The couch bed also has no cushion and it's all spring.
Guest Relations Manager, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Hi mrniekingsley, Thank you for your recent stay and for taking the time to share your insightful comments. "Miserable"
This hotel is way off the interstate way out of the way and then turned out to be on a busy noise street. The room was very noisy room from doors slamming shut & other guest chatting in hall ways. The bathroom was not clean (sink & tub especially). pm & am staff were surly the hotel smelled
Guest Relations Manager, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear dovelldove, We are gutted to know that your recent stay at our property was not up to the mark. On behalf of our entire staff, please accept our sincere apologies. I want to apologize for the noises that disturb your rest, all Front Desk Clerks are instructed and trained on how to handle these types of issues and I'm very sorry they failed to correct this problem for you. Our housekeeping staff is held to a very high standard and we appreciate that you've informed us of a need to address housekeeping policies and procedures. We also appreciate your time in pointing out the facilities in most need of attention as we work towards updating and improving upon our accommodations. We are working to take care of all of the issues that you addressed and we thank you for taking the time to share your experience.
"Extremely Noisy"
I stayed her one night due to a family wedding. Although we booked a nice room with jacuzzi and fireplace, it was very noisy--most of the time. The room overlooked the Main Street of Battleground --about 20 feet away. Motorcycles, trucks, etc... were making noise all night long. Not sure, but doesn't appear to have any sound proofing in the windows or walls. If you need a good night's rest ... this is not the place.
Valerie Prickett, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for giving review. We are so sorry we did not meet your expectations. Battleground has grown so much the last couple years and we know the road is busier then ever before. Once again we are sorry. Have a wonderful day.
"Sagging mattressses"
No light in the bathroom. The tub was small and sagged at the drain making it unsafe. I was awakened several times during the night with slamming doors. The mattresses on both bads sagged and was uncomfortable. I found the whole hotel unkempt and unclean.
Valerie Prickett, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I am very sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. Our mirrors you turn on the wall switch and then a light bulb icon lights up on the mirror which turns on the light. I will speak with staff, as they should have let you know. I will speak to housekeeping on the other issues. Once again I apologize for your experience.
"Poor building maintenance"
The lobby and all three of the floors were hot, the beds are uncomfortable, they lied about accepting cats on their website, plus you have to put down a deposit. Expect the ice machine to break every now and again as well as the elevators the owner doesn't seem to care about the overall quality of the building tends to do more Band-Aid fixes than actual repairs, there's literally a mattress store next door that the owner could go to negotiate for better mattresses as is it like you were sleeping on concrete.
Valerie Prickett, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I am very sorry we did not exceed your expectations. I am sorry that all these issues happened during your extended stay. Our website does says we Do Not Except Pets but by law we allow service dogs. We did have a tech come out to fix elevator asap. The ice machine motor broke and had to be replaced, and as soon as the part came in, it was replaced. Everything in this hotel is under regular maintenance continually and up to code. We are in the process of getting new mattresses for all the rooms. Once again, I am sorry this all happened during your stay. Thank you for letting me know how your feel
"Pleasant Motel"
I had a pleasant stay at this BW Plus motel. It is an older facility but, everything was clean and the staff was very pleasant. Check-in went very smoothly. My room was clean, quiet and well supplied with towels and toiletries. I had a two night stop over and was very pleasantly surprised to have my room cleaned and my towels replaced after my first night. It seems that not too many motels give room service on multiple night stays, anymore. The breakfast choices were many for both hot and cold meals and the food was replaced immediately, keeping everything hot and fresh. Nextdoor to the motel is a Dutch brother's coffee shop and a market and other stores are near by. Very convenient.
Valerie Prickett, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you very much for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us and we hope we see you again if you are in the area. Have a wonderful day!
"Great place to stay"
The hotel is nice and clean. There is a Dutch brothers right next door and plenty of parking no matter what time you arrive. Has an indoor pool and laundry room and comfortable beds, but the best part of this hotel is the staff is soo nice!
Guest Relations Manager, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review

Our team works hard to ensure a satisfying experience for all our guests and we are pleased to hear that yours was a satisfying stay. We hope to see you again soon.
"Not my favorite"
The pool was out of order leaving my children restless after a long day of travels, their “hot breakfast” that was advertised was a sugar filled sack lunch with a granola bar, honey bun, and yogurt, and the room had light flooding in from the parking lot all night even with the black out curtains closed so we couldn't sleep. Definitely will not be returning.

Dear jilwilson523, I am so sorry to hear that your most recent stay with us did not meet your expectations. Our primary goal is to provide all guests with an enjoyable experience and it is troubling to know that you faced such an unusual experience, especially with the breakfast and the condition of the hotel. We take this quite highly and your feedback will be shared with management so that appropriate steps can be taken. Thank you again for taking the time for sharing this experience and for your valuable business.
"Great Stay"
The Best Western Hotel in Battle Ground is located in a very quite and green location, with all all the necessary amenities and stores nearby, including the food and shopping area within the walking distance and great prices. Very recommended.

Hi YevgeniyG79, Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm so pleased that you found us a clean and pleasant place to stay and that our location and amenities were to your liking. We take real pride in this hotel and in serving guests like you, and I'm extremely happy that you had such a pleasant stay. We look forward to having you with us again soon.
"Nice stay"
Although a short drive off of I-5 this hotel was worth the drive. Nice staff and big updated rooms. Only drawback was no breakfast service due to Covid (I assume) but you are given a sack breakfast to go.
"Excellent service"
They could use mattress upgrades. Also the service is always incredible. If you're a member they sometimes not always give free room upgrades. Some of the staff can be rude. Other than that the pool is relaxing. The king Jacuzzi rooms are definitely a hit with toddlers.
"The finest Hotel in Battleground"
I always look forward to staying at this location & the staff is extremely accommodating as well as friendly. I like to get the jacuzzi tub room for relaxing. Due to Covid the breakfast room was not available & I wasn't able to just use the Pool whenever I had a chance. I hope to return with these restrictions lifted soon.
"Customer Service Needs Attention"
My family and I have stayed here many times over the past year and I have seen customer service declining. Many new faces but no continuity of good service. On my latest stay, my towel request on my reservation wasn't correct. Worse yet was the “I'm charging your card $25 and it will be refunded… if there's no damage to the room”. I know from experience in the travel industry that it's supposed to be a hold used to potentially charge for damages. Her words at check in were accusatory. Later, even the night agent looked at me strangely when I ask for her name and wanted to verify my room number as I was returning to my room. After having to request the breakfast bags at check out, I was shocked to find obviously rotten oranges in 2 of the 4 breakfast bags. Overall, disappointed that customer service is declining and I hope they can turn things around. I give it a 3 based on check in and check out.
"Clean and quiet"
This property is clean and quiet with efficient check-in, quality linens and good Wi-Fi/TV. I have stayed here several times, and the quality has been good each time. I recommend this property. It also has a grab and go breakfast that is a reasonable quality and useful during these pandemic times.
"No."
Don't know why trip advisor locks you info family or friends... I was traveling with both, stupid. This place was trashy. Looks like a pickup spot more than a hotel. Total dive. Sawdust trail down the main hallway, both days. Sinks don't work. No linens for the fold out... The nearest other hotel is 20 minutes away and I guarantee it's worth the drive.
"False Advertising"
I searched for a hotel in the general area for days before choosing this one because my Hubby and I wishes to have a jacuzzi to relax while in between dealing with the stresses and a funeral of a family member. We walked into the room and we aremissing a jacuzzi tub. We go to talk to the staff and she said ohhhh this happens all the time people are idiots and don't read the description properly. Insults me and becomes very defensive and rude to me. I left to deal with my grandma's funeral. We come back to the room and the bottom drain to the tub that is in the room is rusted . The bed was lumpy and I could quite literally fill each individual spring jab into my ribs. We were not supplied a comforter nor enough pillows for a couple to be staying. We SPENT ALMOST $30 EXTRA A NIGHT than any of the surrounding hotels so we specifically could try and relax on this trip. Instead I get insulted and stay at the worst hotel I ever had.
"Great Place to Stay!"
The team at Best Western in Battle Ground Washington was amazing. Debbie at the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly. We needed a pack-n-play and she brought it to our room. It did appear she was the only one working that evening, but still found time to bring it to our room. We didn't need our room cleaned during our stay per our choice, but did request a few items be refilled. The housekeeper noticed some things we hadn't thought about and she replenished the items. The same thing happened the following day. I didn't get the name of the man on duty during the day, but he was also very helpful and friendly! We felt very comfortable in this hotel and will definitely go back if we're in the area again!! Thank you for the enjoyable stay!!
"Family Funeral"
Hotel was easy to locate, clean, friendly staff and close to lots of food places. Quiet property and very accommodating. I will stay again and would recommend this property to everyone! Battleground is beautiful!
"Do not stay here"
These rooms are not as advertised. Lobby, hallway and elevators are dirty. Would not give a refund after going up to my room and seeing that it was not what I booked. I checked out immediately and they would not give me any paperwork stating that I checked out having only been there 20 minutes. They said because I went into the room that they couldn't.
"Too much for Bare Basic"
This hotel is very basic, old, small, and nowhere special with everything shut down and using Covid as excuse for nothing available but still charging over $100 a night. Even with everything available, this place would be 3 stars at best and worth 70$ at most. Sheets were thread bare.
"Very Nice and Clean"
The staff was very helpful and the room was wonderful and the price was right. Breakfast was in a bag because of covid but plenty of food. Checkout was easy. The bed was comfortable and they allowed us to stay until noon as we were waiting for a cab home.
"Our room was dirty"
We checked in at 3pm and never went to our room tell about midnight because we were there visiting family and were at there house. When we got to our room our beds were dirty and looked like someone had slept in them. There was a horrible smell in the bathroom and we found ponytails with hair in them on the ground. This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had. The front desk guy acted like it was all our fault and was rude about it
"We were all disappointed"
We booked this room through Hotels.com a few days ago. My two teenagers and I are in town to visit my grandma, and normally we stay in the town where she lives. But, I found this place that had a jacuzzi tub in the room at a reasonable price, and since all of the pools and hot tubs are closed because COVID, I thought it would be a fun treat for the kids to get to have a “hot tub” in the room. It was another 25 minutes past my grandma's house (already a four hour drive for us), but it was going to be worth it to soak in a tub of hot water with jets! Fast forward to check-in. Even though I had multiple forms of confirmation (emails and texts), there was no reservation in my name. There were also no rooms available with the amenities I had already had my card pre-authorized for. I called Hotels.com and the gentleman who assisted me was incredibly helpful. He called the hotel with me on the line and verified that the reservation had been confirmed by the hotel, even though the woman at the front desk was adamant that those particular rooms hadn't been available for weeks. We finally agreed to a room with no jacuzzi tub but still large enough for the three of us to be comfortable; and only after I had to pull up prices of their partner hotel 15 miles away for the same room type they had available. They wanted to charge me $155; $15 more grab what I paid for the room I didn't even get. The same room at the same chain 15 miles away was $83. I refused to pay more than that. They were amiable to that arrangement and we moved on. I would like to point out that through all of this the Hotels.com representative was phenomenal. I was highly impressed. Went to go pick up food for us and was able to navigate the area fairly easily. It's similar to my small town where there is pretty much one main street, and it's literally called Main Street. Super creative. Great food from a local Chinese restaurant (Happy Family - highly recommend). However, we discovered that apparently trucks/cars travel up and down Main Street at night revving their engines... and the parking lot directly across from the hotel was also occupied by loud cars and trucks. I had gone out to my car and noticed this, and when I came back in I asked the gentleman at the front desk if that kind of noise was normal here. He said yes - obviously it's a highway (Agreed, but there are seriously people out there racing - this isn't highway noise.) I asked if they offered ear plugs to help guests counter the noise...he said yes. Then pointed me to the little “store” they had in the lobby so I could purchase ear plugs. At that point I just went up to my room. The room is nice enough; walls had dirt smudges that I was able to wipe off but overall not bad. The customer service, however, is severely lacking. If you could have seen the faces the front desk woman was making as she dealt with my Hotels.com representative, and with me, you would understand why I'm left with a bitter taste about this this property. Thankful for a comfy bed but that's about it - will never stay here again.
"EHH ok for 1day stays"
Hotel is by main strip. Constant traffic noise and street racing. It's all night long, and rooms are not stocked right, we found all soap dispensers out, towels were minimal. Also the Showers are low pressure, so not really effective. Lighting in bathrooms are dismal, they are inbedded in the mirror, no overhead light.
Valerie Prickett, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
We are sorry your stay was not as enjoyable as you would have liked. Usually our rooms are well stocked, however we are under strict restrictions with the pandemic going on to limit the amount of things in the room as much as possible. Guests are always invited to call the front desk for anything they feel they are missing in their room. I hope that you will give us another chance to meet your expectations and hopefully we will not be under any pandemic restrictions at that time.
"Good Place for an Overnight"
This was our first stay at a hotel since the new realities of Covid. The breakfast area, pool, workout room, and business center were all closed. Our room was very clean. Our King sized bed only had two pillows (a Covid accommodation to cut down on laundry required) but they gladly supplied more when asked. In the morning they offered sack breakfasts that you could take back to your room or to go if you were ready to hit the road. It is a basic Best Western property, but very convenient if you are wanting to stay in the Battle Ground area.
Valerie Prickett, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Hi Jim, Thank you for reviewing your stay with us. We value your feedback and are happy to hear that you found your stay satisfying. We hope that you will come visit us again once we are fully operational. Safe travels, and thank you for choosing the Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites.
"Ants"
Unfortunately, our stay was dampened by the presence of ants in and around the jacuzzi tub. We paid extra for that room, and were not even able to use the tub more than once, because we noticed the ants were everywhere! There were also long black hairs on the bed and the bathroom floor, as well as something small, round, and brown inside the door. Very disturbing. As much as we wanted to enjoy this room, due to all of these things, we won't be going back.
ValerieP1972, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I want to say I am very sorry that your stay with us was unpleasant. We are working with Terminix to resolve the ant problem. I would like to thank you for letting me know about these issues, which I will be addressing to all my staff to make sure that everything is getting cleaned as per Best Western standards. If you would like to contact me to discuss further, please don't hesitate to give me a call. Again, I am very sorry that your stay was not more satisfying. I hope you give us another try and allow us to make a better experience for you. Thank you and have a wonderful day!
"Avoid room 235, even if you need ADA"
235 is the ADA room with barred shower and connected to 237 by a hollow unflush door right next to 237's bed and feet from 235's bed. 237 is a popular jet tub room. There were very few tenants the four nights I was there and the desk clerk put people in 237 every night and would not move me. I tried leaving a message for he GM, who never responded. When I asked the clerk about it, she spoke in round about manner and also fibbed, and then made it seem like I was the bad guy for speaking about the issue. A case could be made that this is a form of sexual harassment forcing a patron to be exposed repeatedly to strangers' sex. I would leave and drive around to avoid it. It was a new couple every night and so loud I could not sleep. The others that run the hotel otherwise are very nice even if you cannot understand them and they share their home cooking smells with the patrons up and down the hallway on the 2nd floor. The finishes in the room are very nice and I wish I could have been able to enjoy pools and other amenities present when no COVID. This is the only hotel in Battle Ground but I wonder if it would be worth it to drive to Vancouver and also save $20 or more dollars per night. The in house laundry is $2 one load wash and $4 to dry.
ValerieP1972, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for leaving your review. I am very sorry about your stay. We should ask to move your room. I apologize for that .I do hope you will come back to see us again and give another chance. I am glad to know that you like our hotel. We look forward to seeing you again. Stay safe. Have a wonderful day.
"Jacuzzi overnight"
The overall stay was great. However it is concerning that with Covid 19 the employees do not have adequate protection from guests. No barrier between guests and employees, employee not wearing a mask, no marks to indicate where guests should stand while waiting, elevators have nothing to indicate only same party individuals should be in the trip, no wipes for guests to use on the side doors when leaving or entering after 7pm. no wipes in the lobby. You know...the most basic protections for this companies employees and the guests. The breakfast room is closed (sort of understandable) and a grab and go breakfast was provide. A bottle of water and two Chewy peanut butter and chocolate chip 'breakfast' bars. Candy bars really. That was it. (I have a picture but there doesn't appear to be a way to upload it here )Good thing I am not allergic to peanuts. As I stated in my direct review to the hotel, the breakfast room could easily be operational with their full breakfast offerings by only allowing one guest or one party in at a time and go eat in your room. OR the lobby could use it refrigerator that has things to purchase as a breakfast holder - fruit, juice milk and a table with packaged danish/donuts and cereals. And extra coffee packets for the room. The Jacuzzi room was much larger than expected and for the most part quite nice. However it doesn't have enough lighting, no lighting above or around the Jacuzzi, and the bathroom even with it's whiz bang lighting fixture in the mirror, is dim. The shower curtain had stains, possible mold but hard to tell with the lighting and the exhaust fan didn't work. The mirror had toothpaste splatter. Again a housekeeper would have been hardpressed to see it. I saw it from the seated position on the toilet. Looking at the mirror which is THE lighting fixture, you couldn't see it at all. But overall the room was okay. Bed was excellent, temperature control was easy to use, great TV. We will stay again for the two person Jacuzzi.
ValerieP1972, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for your review. Yes these are trying times for the breakfast . We are under restrictions due to under Covid-19 . Once restriction lift , we will open with limited access . We are also currently limiting handing of products , to help keep guest safe . We also are currently working on getting a protective shield for front counter and yes my staff are supposed to be wearing mask and gloves - thank you for letting me know. We look forward to seeing you again- stay safe
"Birthday Escape"
We decided to take a night away from it all for my husband's birthday and were very impressed with this property. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very large and comfortably furnished. Loved the bathroom mirror (probably the coolest feature in the room) we did not use any of the facilities on-site due to covid-19 restrictions causing them to be temporarily closed. Will definitely be staying here again.
ValerieP1972, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so much for your review, and your kind words about my staff.I will pass this along to them. We look forward to seeing you again.

"Best Western Plus, Battleground, Washington"
Very clean with easy access from Main St. Located 20 min from Ilani casino. With easy on/ off ramps fro I-5. Nice hot breakfast items such as waffles, biscuits & gravy, etc. Dairy Queen across the street
ValerieP1972, Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review

There are several places to eat in the area, we would be very happy to help you with that information. We do have a full continental breakfast and a salt water pool for our Guest to enjoy.
"Amazing stay!!!"
Great stay, wonderful staff, and AMAZING ROOMS. Real breakfast in the morning, military discount, swimming pool, hot tub......you will never find a better room for a better price!!! Ask about the log cabin themed room....soooo beutifull.

The staff at this location are very friendly and welcoming. The location is easy to find and centrally located. The rooms are very clean. The beds are super comfortable. The daily Breakfast is really super--the waffles are yummy. The swimming pool is a good size and kept very clean. I've enjoyed evvery stay tremendously.

"Always a pleasurable stay."
I've stayed here since it's opening. Always nice people and efficient check in and out. Breakfast is great, the rooms are large, the temperature of the hotel is always perfect and it's always clean. They will help you in any way they can if you need something while traveling.
ValerieP1972, Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so much for the review. We appreciate your loyalty to our hotel. I will pass this information on to my staff and the breakfast people. We look forward to your next visit. Have a great New Year.
"Hard beds"
Hard beds and lumpy pillows. Closet door had sharp metal edge that snagged clothing and scraped skin. Hot tub had clumps of hair floating in it. Breakfast room was clean, food selection was varied with average quality.
ValerieP1972, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I want to say I am very sorry for your stay that did not seem to be the best. I am not sure what room you stayed in, so I am having maintenance check all of the closets to make sure the latch is working properly, as I do not have any notes of what room you had stayed in. I want to thank you for letting me know about these issues, which I will be addressing my all my staff to make sure that everything is getting done up to standards. If you would like to contact me to discuss further, please don't hesitate to give me a call. Again, I am very sorry for your, not so good, experience. I hope you would give us another try, and for us to make it better for you. Thank you and have a wonderful day!
"Best Western a BIG PLUS!"
This suites/inn was very clean, friendly and the room was very nice. We slept well and had no issues with exception of the WiFi which was very slow. Our stay was restful and we would stay here again. Very clean and had all the amenities we needed.
ValerieP1972, Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so much for staying with us, I am so happy to hear you had a great night sleep and you got some rest. We are working on upgrading our WIFI so next time you stay with us that should be done. Have a great day and thank you for your business.
"BW never dissapoints"
Had a great time, quiet, clean and great breakfast. Enjoyed the salted hot tub. The bed is a bit hard and theres never enough pillows, street noise was pretty loud but overall it was really nice and we will return again.
ValerieP1972, Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so much for the review. So nice to hear you enjoyed our salt water pool and our delicious breakfast. We do have more pillows in our closet and extra blankets also. We look forward to your next visit.
"Best Western Stay"
We really enjoyed our stay. The room was huge, yet cozy. The conditioner somehow made my hair so tangle-free I almost stole the whole unit (jk kinda). The pool and hot tub were awesome, I'm so glad we decided to take a dip. Literally the only 2 things I could say are....1) there was a creepy couple in a van watching our every move as we walked in, super uncomfortable...just lock your stuff. 2) There were no q-tips in the room....which is a first world problem, but it's the cheapest commodity that makes a huge difference to me lol
ValerieP1972, Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so much for the review,we really appreciate your feed back. So nice to hear that you enjoyed the salt water pool and the conditioner. I will look into getting Q-tips in the room. This Hotel is very safe, I am sorry about the people in the van, I will look into that. Have a great holiday season.
"Good choice"
This is a local hotel. It is not huge and the people working there are very friendly. It has a variety of choices for breakfast and the hot food is always hot. There are many local restaurants within an easy mile or less drive with reasonable and good food.
ValerieP1972, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Sally, Thank you so much for the review, We have been working on making our breakfast better then ever with different choices weekly. We have been introducing new items to our menu so we hope you come back and try our new breakfast items. Have a great Thanksgiving and look forward to your next visit.
"Really nice and fit in the budget"
This hotel was so easy to find, right off Main St in town. Check in was kind of weird. There was a note at the front desk to use the phone and dial an extension. There was no phone to use, so my sister used her own phone and called the main number. The employee answered, came to the desk, and told us she had to take the phone in case someone called. Odd. Room was super clean and we enjoyed the pool. We would stay again if we are ever in the area.
ValerieP1972, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for the review, I am so sorry about the phone not being there for you to call, I will talk to my staff about this and make sure the phone is always there when they have to leave the front desk. I am happy to hear that you did get to enjoy our salt water pool. If your ever in the area again we hope you stay with us. Have a great Thanksgiving.
"Clean, comfortable and friendly hotel"
Our room was spacious and comfortable, beds nice, breakfast was fresh and good. A clean and comfy hotel with friendly staff. Quiet. Good parking. Fitness center clean and nice new treadmill. Library with nice view. We were here on a girls weekend vacation and it was perfect for us.
ValerieP1972, Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
How fun a girls weekend,we are so happy you had it here at the Best Western Plus in Battle Ground. It sounds like you got to use all of our amenity's, I think our library is pretty cool, you can see a lot from up there. We hope on your next trip you will stay with us again.
"NICE STAY"
At first glance, the hotel was a different in that there were commercial businesses on the ground floor. However, we were greeted warmly. Room was spacious, quiet and clean. Internet service was good. Breakfast was a little ordinary. Good stay.
ValerieP1972, Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so much for taking the time to give us a review. I am thrilled to hear that my staff treated you well, i believe i have a great staff that always try to make sure all of our guest have the best stay possible. Our rooms are very spacious and have been remodeled. We hope you come back and visit us again.
"Needs a few updates"
They need to update the furniture and the rollaway bed was very lumpy and hard to get out of. The bathroom lights only turn on when you touch the mirror so young children cannot turn on the light! There is no place to sit and smoke outside--you have to lean against the building or a car. The staff was very helpful and accommodating.
ValerieP1972, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. You have a very good point where you say small children can not reach the icon on the mirror. We do currently have two benches out side on the walkways for guests to sit. People who do happen to smoke are supposed to be 25 feet away front the front entrance to the hotel.. Thank you again and hope you do give us a another try. Have a wonderful day!
"Comfortable place to stay"
We stayed in Battle Ground while we visited family in Hazel Dell, Vancouver. We found this hotel to be very comfortable. Room is large with a roomy bathroom. Although the hotel is located on Main Street which can be busy, it calms down at night and is quiet. Breakfast is included and properly maintained. Food items are replenished continuously. Front reception staff are friendly and customer service oriented. We checked out early before breakfast, and the reception staff packed us a breakfast bag to go. The only negative experience, in my opinion, is that dogs are allowed in the breakfast room.
ValerieP1972, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
We appreciate your business, and taking the time to give us a review. We try very hard to make sure all of our guest are well taken care of. I am happy to hear you enjoyed breakfast and my night audit person set you up with a grab and go bag. I am sorry about the dog in breakfast we only allow service animals, I will look into this matter. We hope you come back to Battle Ground and stay with us again. Have a great day.
"Awesome stay!"
As usual, my stay here was exceptional. Whether for business or personal travel, this is my go to hotel. The staff is amazing, the entire place is exceptionally maintained and the cleanliness is better than any other, of the same brand or competition, that I have ever stayed.
ValerieP1972, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so much Maria for the great review. We try our best to make sure all guest are well taken care of and happy. You are a such a great person and we love seeing you each and every time, you have become family to all of my staff. Hope you had a great flight home and we look forward to your next visit.
"amazing room and staff"
we had a hiccup with our last reservation and so i though i would take the manager Val's offer to come try it again! So we got the right room this time and it was amazing! i reccomend the king suite with the jacuzzi! It was exactly what we needed after the long wedding we attended! the room was clean, the staff was amazing, and the hotel was great!
ValerieP1972, Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I am so sorry about your last reservation, I am glad you gave us another chance, we so appreciate it. Very happy to hear you enjoyed that room, we hope you come back a visit us again very soon.
"Would stay again"
The place isn't the newest on the block, but it's taken care of, clean, and the staff were all friendly and professional throughout our stay. A variety of food is readily available within walking or a 10 minute drive. The room was clean, shower placement typical (I'm 6 feet tall so that's a peeve with me but totally normal). Bed was on the harder side, which I really like, my wife not so much. I'll definitely stay here again (we come to Vancouver once a year) and will recommend this place to friends and family.
ValerieP1972, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you very much for the review, we work on keeping our Hotel very clean and refreshed. Our staff works hard to maintain great customer service. We look forward to serving you and your family when there are in town. Have a great day.
"Still a pleasure!"
I stayed here 2 years ago and it was such a pleasant experience, we chose it again! The staff is friendly, the breakfast is much better than average. The equipment in the fitness room all works! I'd stay again, if given the opportunity!
ValerieP1972, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for staying with us again we really appreciate your business. So nice to hear you enjoyed the fitness room and also my staff, our staff here try;s to go out of there way to make guest our guest are well taken care of. We hope you do get the opportunity to come and stay with us again. Have a great weekend.
"Best Western Battle Ground"
The service is friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was decent—about what you would expect—with enough variety to please everyone. We would have liked to use the jacuzzi, and our only disappointment was that it was broken.
ValerieP1972, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for your review. Yes, I am so very sorry about the Jacuzzi, as a part had failed. It has been fixed and running great!. It is to bad that it happened when you were here. We hope to see you back in the future. Thank you again and have a wonderful day!
"Overnight getaway"
My husband and I checked in for a one night getaway from the kids. We had plans to see a concert that night and decided to splurge on a nicer room with a Jacuzzi. The room was average nothing special, the bed was comfy but the pillows are way to small. The only major issue we had was the fact that the elevator was right in our wall. Sadly it was very noisy. Everything else was fine.
ValerieP1972, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I am so very sorry for your stay, and the the elevator was noisy, And when it was a very busy night. We have been replacing our pillows, but we have not covered all the rooms as of yet. I apologize for this. I hope you give us another try, some our theme suites are not near the elevator which are quiet. Thank you again and have a wonderful day!
"Well done"
Cathy at front desk is excellent. She went out of her way to make sure things were done right. She is an excellent employee and is always available to help. The pool was great and the hotel is very clean. Breakfast is on the 2nd floor. Peaceful and quiet.
ValerieP1972, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you very much for writing a review. Cathy is truly outstanding and I am lucky to have her. As with all my staff. I will pass this along to her. I am glad you enjoyed our Salt Water pool and our clean hotel. I do hope we get to see you again. Thank you again and have a wonderful day!
"Great stay"
My partner and I needed a place to stay as we traveled in western Washington and happened upon the Best Western Plus in Battle Ground. Evidently a new facility, everything was spotless and pristine at the hotel. The room was a bit pricey, but there were not many other options in the area. The desk agent applied a discount that lowered the price a little. But, the stay was great. My partner swam, the room was very comfortable and everything was in working order, The breakfast was delicious. I am glad we stayed.
ValerieP1972, Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so much for the review, We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us at the Best Western Plus in Battle Ground, Wa. We hope you and your partner come visit us again. Have a wonderful day.
"Great Staff , comfortable rooms, convenient location..."
I had a chance to stay at the Best Western Plus in Battleground WA and I was a very good experience from check in to check out. The location was very convenient to my sisters house and other amenities available in town. Cathy at the front desk made my stay a special one, always calling me by name as I went in and out, the breakfast staff also were especially welcoming and pleasant... I would recommend this facility for any type of traveler.
ValerieP1972, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you very much for your review, I will pass this along to my fantastic staff. We look forward to seeing you again and thank you! Have a wonderful day!
"Family Wedding"
Coming from the east coast I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and bright with a lovely view. There was coffee and a fridge. The bathroom was clean but the lighting was inadequate. The people at the front desk were friendly and helpful. There was a surprising complimentary breakfast that included eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles and more. I would recommend this Best Western to anyone.
ValerieP1972, Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Very happy that you enjoyed our breakfast and the staff, we try hard to make sure all of our guest are treated the way we would want to be treated. We are working on getting more lighting in our bathrooms. We hope you come back and stay with us again.
"The Wedding"
Very caring and helpful staff. Pool and hot tub were enjoyed by several members of our family. Nice variety for breakfast. Beds were comfortable and it was easy to regulate the room temp. Bathroom mirrors leave a lot to be desired.
ValerieP1972, Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for the kind words about my staff. We are working on getting some more lighting for the bathrooms. I am happy you enjoyed the salt water pool. Thank you again for staying with us.
"Away from home"
Check in relatively painless. There were computer problems but staff at desk remained calm and worked through it. No blanket for pullout, guests have to go get from desk, no staff available to deliver. Only sitting chair in room with horrible unknown stain, unable to use. Bed only fair, not super comfortable. Breakfast normal for chain hotel. We only stayed/planned for one night. Area around hotel nice and POI's close. Did not have time to use pool/spa but looked nice. Exercise room small, but adequate for hotel size.
ValerieP1972, Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I am so sorry about the blankets, I will talk to my head housekeeper to make sure this does not happen again. We are remodeling so we will be getting all new chairs and bedding and carpet. Thank you for taking the time to give us a review. Have a great day.
"Awesome stay!"
Terrific service from Kathy, Valerie and Barbara. Everyone there was super friendly...except Debbie. I think she needs a vacation. Or maybe a different job?? Everyone else was super friendly. From the front desk to the room attendants. And that's nice when you're 2700 miles away from home and stuck in a hotel for shy of 3 weeks. I will definitely only be staying here when I return. Which will be several times over the course of the next 6 months.
ValerieP1972, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you very much for writing a review. and thank you for your kind words about my staff. I will pass this along to them. I have also spoken with staff about customer service and how important this is to my guests. Safe travels to you, and look forward to seeing you in the future. Thank you again and Have a Wonderful day!!

"Good Value For The Price"
The first night we stayed in a room facing the front of the hotel (SW?). The problem we experienced is that there is a drive thru coffee shop across the street that has a speaker mounted on the outside wall of the building and it plays loud music until the store closes. Making matters worse, we flew in from the east coast. So, 7pm local time was like 10pm to us. We just wanted to go to sleep. But, we couldn't because of the noise. Other than this one bad experience (we switched rooms to the other side of the building for the rest of our 5 night stay), this hotel provided a reasonably comfortable room for the price. Breakfast was included and was acceptable, but nothing to get excited about.
ValerieP1972, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you very much for staying with us, we are so sorry to hear about the loud music across the street. I am happy to hear that moving to the other side of the Hotel was quieter. We will make sure in the future that you get a quite room at the Hotel. Safe travels..
"Auncomfortabel Beds"
This hotel seems old but decent looking. Our room was freezing when we walked. The room had a strong order of pine sol when we walked in. There to sleep but unable to because the beds were so uncomfotable
ValerieP1972, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I am so very sorry for your experience, I have spoken with my cleaning staff, who are to make sure heat is on, and not to overpower on cleaning supplies, I understand how you feel, I don't like going into a strong smelling room of cleaning chemicals myself. I hope you give us another chance, we can put you in a different than what you had before, not all the beds are the same, we can find one more comfortable for you. Thank you for writing a review and Have a wonderful day!
"Worth the drive"
It is quite a ways off the highway, but the rooms are really lovely. Decor is elegant and updated. Beds are comfortable and the staff were very nice and helpful. Have dinner at The Mill Creek Pub. Breakfast at Hockinsons cafe.
ValerieP1972, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review

"Great motel worth the costThje staff were very friendly, helful and couteous."
The staff were very friendly, courteous, and helpful. The room was clean and the maid service was good. The breakfast served each morning was wonderful. The selection of food and drink was good. The waffles were scrumptious. The pool area was well keep up. The location of he motel was convenient.

"GRAND KIDS CHRISTMAS"
Not to bad but the hot tub was great not to hot but just darn great ! food was good just needed gravy with the biscuits the hall way carpets needed shampoo Real bad ! but the house keeping were first notch ! good crew !
ValerieP1972, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
We are thrilled to hear you and your family enjoyed the pool. In the hallways we are getting new carpet any day now. We hope you come back and see all of our upgrades. Have a great holiday season.
"Really nice location. Big Rooms"
Was here for a wedding and the hotel is quite nice. The room has a small desk, a coffee maker, refrigerator, and big bathroom. People are very nice. Breakfast is available and fine, nothing too special, but they had eggs, bacon, waffles and yogurt so I'd say a good start. I did have some trouble with the noise at night. We were on the top floor but I sounded like people were running up and down the halls at times. I'm not sure where it came from, but I noticed both the nights I was there. The other interesting things was the light in the bathroom turns on from the mirror. It's very bright at night and a little dark doing the day. Although a cool idea, the night light it left on was also too bright. Close to shopping and food. Good stay overall.
ValerieP1972, Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you very much for your review. I am so glad you enjoyed your stay here at Best Western Battle Ground Inn & Suites. Thank you for your information on the guest room mirrors, these are new. I apologize for people running and being loud, if next time at any hotel you experience anything like this, don't hesitate to call the front desk so they may check into the situation, and if you had called my front desk, and the noise continued, I will speak with my staff. We like all our guests to have a comfortable and Happy stay. Thank you again, and have a wonderful day!
"Great location - needs a bit of elbow grease, though"
I am allergic to dust, and this place was horrible for that. The headboard and the edges of the floor where it met the walls was pretty disgusting. The curtains didn't close very well, and there were four SUPER bright parking lot lights shining right at the window. There was also a significant space under the hallway door which allowed light and noise to enter the room. There were no "adult hours" at the pool, which made for a screaming pile of kids and no 'calm' at the hot tub. The workout room was well equipped...
Valerie P, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so much for staying with us, I have talked to my housekeeping staff about the dust in your room an they have taken care of it. We are getting new curtains in every room, I hope they will keep the night out. I am glad you enjoyed the fitness room. We hope you give us another try as soon as all the updates are complete.
"Friendly staff"
The staff were all very friendly and quick to respond to questions or concerns. The room was pretty average. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a decent variety of foods offered for the continental breakfast. Overall I enjoyed the stay and would stay there again.
Valerie P, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you Sarah for your review and your kind words on my staff. They are a great team and are fantastic! We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us and look forward to seeing you again. Have a wonderful day, and thank you again!
"Very nice, but expensive."
Expensive for a smaller town, but there was no competition of which I knew. Very nice rooms and free breakfast with a wide selection of fresh fruit, cereals and eggs accompanied with the usual accouterments. A good, private setting for the breakfast was a plus, set aside from the usual high traffic areas. Pleasant staff very helpful and extremely courteous.
Valerie P, Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
We appreciate your review, I am happy to hear that you enjoyed the breakfast. Sorry to hear that the traffic was a problem, some times it does get busy in town. I will let me staff know that you were impressed with there customer service. We hope to see you again in the future.
"Business trip to a new place"
When we checked in I was concerned the noise may be a problem as the hotel was off the main drag. Nice and quiet during the night. Great room; large suite with plenty of room. The bed was clean and comfortable; nice shower. Good breakfast.
Valerie P, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. Yes, our rooms here at Best Western Plus Battle Ground are very spacious. I am glad you enjoyed our breakfast and that the room was quiet for you. We hope to see you again soon!
"Looking for treasures"
We love the location and the amenities. The staff and rooms are great. Very nice indoor pool and great breakfast too. Always a pleasure to stay here. Battle ground is a nice little town with very friendly people and great6 shopping options.
Valerie P, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so much for your review.. I will pass on comments to my staff, they are all wonderful. We hope to see you again soon. Have a very nice day!
"A very nice stay and a great value!"
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Our room was very spacious, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, as was the bathroom. There was a family with children on one side of us and teenage girls on the other side and we hardly heard anything from either room. The walls were well insulated! The breakfast options were very nice with the waffles being our favorite! We used the pool and hot tub and both were very clean. The Dutch Bros across the street was convenient too. A very nice stay and a great value!
Valerie P, Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Good Afternoon Tawnya, We so much appreciate your review, It makes it a lot nicer when you can;t hear the people next to you. I am so happy you like the room and the decor. Dutch Bros is a plus the coffee is fantastic. Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. We hope you come and see us again..
"Great Location Great Staff"
I seem to stay at this location every time I travel to Oregon/Washington Area. Staff is always GREAT and Rooms are always Clean. Pool is always clean and water warm. Great location and would recommend.
Valerie P, Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so much for always staying with us, we appreciate you business and loyalty...Have a great day. We look forward to seeing you in the future.
"Gross"
The room was gross. The bed skirt was stained with food and the beds were so uncomfortable. Hotel claims to be a non smoking hotel but clearly they do not enforce that policy. Our room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. For the price this hotel is not worth the money. I would never stay here again.
Valerie P, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I am very sorry you did not enjoy your stay, and thank you for taking the time to fill out the survey. I will be going over procedures with my cleaning staff and inspectors. As for the smoking, this is a non smoking hotel, we do enforce this policy with a smoking charge if we know who the people are who have been smoking. I apologize that this was a bad experience and I hope we can make this better for you, and to give us another try. You can call me directly at 360-687-8881 to discuss this further if you would like.
"Terrible customer service!!!"
Front desk was rude and unknowledgeable about her job. Wasn't willing to help us out. We had requested two queen beds and got a king bed. She said she couldn't change our reservation, even though they had plenty of rooms. Pool and hot tub were down and there was no warning when making the reservation.
Valerie P, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Ramona, I truly apologize for my front desk staff, she was not aware that we could change room type on a third party reservation, which usually would cost a little more. I will be going through procedures with all my front desk staff. As for the pool, we have tried to notify everyone, that we will be doing repairs. The hot tub has and is currently been up and running. If there is anything I can do for you that would make this better, please contact me directly at 360-687-8881
"Battle Ground Best Western"
This was a unique experience, I was never treated as a Diamond member when I arrived. There was no express checkout offered. Overall the hotel is rather small and not very note worthy as Best Western hotels go. I thought that I would give this one a stay because it was closer to my work location but I soon regretted it.
Valerie P, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I apologize that you were not recognized as a diamond member. We do appreciate our loyal guests. And thank you for being one of them. I will be speaking with staff and going over procedures.
"Good amd only motel in Battle Ground"
Meets sleeping needs. Average BW motel, Nothing great but nothing bad either. Main advantage is that it is in Battle Ground if this is your destination, or business location. Standard breakfast waffles, etc. Hot food, srambled eggs, sausage, bacon, etc appeared to be cooked elsewhere and brought into motel. They do have a handicap room if you need this service. Parking is close to entrance. They are located behind a mattress store front, so easy to miss.

"Good value "
We needed to be in battle ground by 9am, and this happened to be just about the only choice nearby. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. The breakfast was real eggs and bacon. Would stay again.

"A Great place to stay"
I had a two day Oktoberfest to play at Northwood in Battle Ground. We stayed here last year for the event and loved it. It was even better this year. It is in a great location. Easy walk to coffee, supermarket, food and a short ride to downtown. The rooms are awesome and the service incomparable.

Thank you for your review. It was a pleasure to see you again. I am glad you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to seeing you again!
"Would DEFINITELY Go Again!"
We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was wonderful, there were things to do close to the hotel, both food & a store that combines antique-like items & a material shop on top of that. We tried Happy Family restaurant, highly recommend, we'll be going back for more! The breakfast BW does is awesome, we've never seen any other chain that has as much food & as many choices! & the staff is on their toes making sure everything is filled & fresh. Housekeeping was wonderful, they go a long way for a happy stay. The price was very reasonable. Overall, we were VERY happy campers!
Valerie P, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you Paul! We are so happy you liked our little town, that is growing like crazy. Still has the small town feel. We do have a lot to offer in Parks, Wildlife park. Great restaurants, a new casino 10 miles away. My staff is awesome! Thank you again! Look forward to seeing you again!!

"Erase my Bad Impression of Best Western Hotels"
We hesitated about staying at a Best Western property because we didn't like the one in Jackson California but this is the only hotel in town. With the number of great reviews we decided to give it a try. The hotel turns out to be exactly what other reviews are saying - big and clean rooms with friendly staff. The breakfast buffet provides batter for making fresh waffles; banana, apples, oranges, package oatmeals, bacon for one day, sausages everyday, institutional eggs, pastries, cereal, tea, coffee and milk. All in generic brands that don't taste very good. The bacon was good but was only available for one day. The room was great but the dispensers for soap and shampoo were annoyingly slow. We just came out from a drought so standing there catching drops of shampoo while the water was running gave me anxiety attacks. I couldn't turn off the water because turning to the right temperature was quite tricky. It was either too hot or too cold. Suddenly when I got the right temperature I was afraid to turn anymore. Those were the longest showers I took in years. We were also surprised one day when we came back to the hotel at 2pm that the room was just being cleaned. In conclusion, I would not be afraid to stay in a Best Western Plus hotel in the future!

This particular motel did an excellent job from our perspective. The rooms are well laid out and clean. The management has implemented measures to ensure sanitary conditions and devices to relieve the hassle of staying at overnight facilities. Best of all, the staff is definitely into customer service. Overall, we had a great experience at this particular facility

"Unexpected jewel"
I've stayed a lot of places and was suspect of this location since it really has no competition in Battle Ground. Boy, was I shocked! The staff is incredibly friendly, breakfast better than expected and included in the cost of the room, and the fitness room while small, has ALL working equipment! I did not expect a weight stack machine. Thanks Best Western for a TERRIFIC stay!
, General Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for your response. We feel we have a Jewel in the area we are located at, in Battle Ground. The town itself offers a lot. Antique/vintage stores/ Two state parks with in 5 miles or less. Wildlife Refuge 10 minutes away. Great restaurants. My staff are fantastic, they all love our guests, they like to make everyone feel as if part of the family, and will go out of their way to help everyone. I look forward to hopefully seeing you again, and I will share with my staff your kind words. Thank you again. Valerie
"LOVE THIS PLACE EVERY YEAR!"
We have stayed here for several years in a row. Every year, the 1st weekend of August, my softball team and I descend on the amazing town of Battle Ground. We are beyond pleased each and every year with the location, access to shopping and dining are proximity to the softball fields. What's more impressive is the cleanliness of the hotel, the kind and caring staff, amazing breakfast, HUGE rooms and the hot tub and pool after a day in the sun is much needed. We will continue to stay here for years to come!
, Public Relations Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
We love having you guys,Cathy at my front desk loved working with you,and the softball team. We look forward to see you all next year. Thanks again for fill out the survey.

I booked this hotel through TripAdvisor (Not doing that again). Had a serious booking issue. I called and Cheyenne and Kathy both managed to talk me down and fix my problem in under five minutes. When we checked in the room was so homelike it was unreal. Hands down the best night in a hotel ever. Keep up the awesome work! I recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone.

"Only hotel in Battleground WA"
Hotel is nice, I stay there several times a year. Floor layout and room numbering is a bit odd. Always very clean and quiet. It is a bit pricey but is the only hotel in Battleground. Breakfast is served on 2nd floor and is very good.
, Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for taking the time to fill out the survey. Its always nice to see you when you come to visit. Our breakfast does offer a good selection to choose from. Our rooms are a bit larger than the standard size. We look forward to seeing you again. Valerie
"Best in Town"
Family reunion, hotel was busy, traffic for a small town was unreal. Noisy coffee shop played loud music that you had to keep the windows closed. Overall it was ok. It was close to our destinations such as the lake and park.
, Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I am so happy you chose our hotel to stay at and to be able to meet up for your family reunion. It was a pleasure to visit with all of you. I want to apologize for Dutch Bros loud music, they have a cut off time of 8 pm for the music outside to be quieted. I will be checking in to that and speaking with them about this again. Thank you and have a great day and hope to see you back at your next reunion. Valerie
"Impressed"
Very nice hotel with everything available from resturants to food shopping. Liked the bath geowerl, shampoo and conditioner right there in the shower. Salt water indoor pool was great although it could use a clock so you know what time it is . Would visit again...
, Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Impressed, i am so happy you enjoyed your stay with us. It does make it more convenient with the shampoo etc in the shower with dispensers. As you found out we do have a wide variety of really nice restaurants in the area. We look forward to seeing you again! Valerie
"Great venu"
This hotel is easy to find, the staff were all very friendly, it's quiet, the breakfast was great, the pool and fitness room adequate, and the view out my window was great. There weren't enough handicapped parking spaces, only three, so that probably could be changed. There's a big parking lot so more being dedicated to mobility challenged patrons would be appreciated.
, Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so much for your response. I'm glad you liked our breakfast. We do offer a full complementary breakfast, and our attended is amazing. Thank you for your input on the mobility challenged parking, I will definitely look into this and address this with the owners of the hotel. We look forward to hopefully seeing you in the future. Valerie

"Wonderful Overnight in a HUGE room"
Because of my Platinum rewards status, I was upgraded to a huge room with vaulted ceilings. This was by far the largest BW room I have ever had the privilege to stay in. The room was very comfortable and very clean. Both Check-in & out was extremely efficient. Breakfast was pretty typical for the BW Plus brand. The location is a little off the main highways but it is well worth the extra few minutes drive to stay here. I certainly will return when I am in the area.
, Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and your upgraded room. Thank you for your nice comments, I will pass that on to our staff. Hope to see you in the future. Have a wonderful day
"Poor management. Multiple room key issues."
Over my four night stay I was locked out EVERY time I left my room. By the end of my stay I was very upset and asked to speak to a manager. What a waste of time that was. As I stood there listening to her explain why this mishap was not their fault and bared no responsibility I just grew angry. Some how it is my fault that the key to my room never worked. Your key, your room, your poor maintenance, your responsibility!!
, Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I want to apologize for your bad experience with the magnetic card keys and for all the inconvenience it caused you. I'm sure it was so very frustrating to have the keys, keep being re-programmed during your stay. If there is anything We can do to make this better for you, please let us know. I really do feel your frustration. Take care
"Clean and comfortable"
Looked like the only new hotel in town. Near everything and clean and big room. Staff nice. Lots of coffee. Usual BW Plus. Beds could be softer but otherwise excellent. No restaurant but nice pool that was constantly in use
, Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Our pool and hot tub is a great way to relax after a long day of visiting the area. We are the only hotel in town, but close to everything like state parks, nature preserve, restaurants, vintage stores. We do have a great staff here with us. Have a wonderful day! Valerie
"Top Tier"
I was in Vancouver, WA for business and found the BW Battle Ground to be more than expected. I was looking for a good price and got so much more. The hotel was spotless, the staff was excellent, the breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options. The rooms were modern, clean, and spacious. Exceptional hotel, especially at the price point.
, Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review

"Like Home"
The staff at the hotel could not have been more friendly and accommodating. They always were there with a smile. Cathy and Valorie could not have been more welcoming. The hotel was very clean and had a lot of amenities. I stayed two previous nights at another hotel, due to availability, and this one was by far cleaner and more welcoming, along with more affordable.

"Off the beaten path..."
A nice quiet base to work out of, exploring Portland & area. Coming from Seattle, it was nice to turn off the Interstate and head into parkland. Everything we needed was in the neighbourhood and we were easy striking distance in to explore Portland.

We booked three mini suites for a family event and all were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the small town atmosphere and drives to and from our destinations and the ease of getting to I-5. There were stores and cafes in the area that made it convenient

"Great Business Hotel near Portland"
This hotel is near Portland and yet not in the city. It is well suited for business travelers. The maintenance of the room was good and the staff were very helpful. They even had a TO-GO brown bag with fruit and a breakfast bar ready every night so I can get out very early in the morning

"Last minute move"
We recently moved a family member in with us where we live on the Oregon coast. We couldn't get her belongings at the time so she's been paying storage. Best Western has been like our second home. Very accommodating for that last minute move thing that happens sometimes. We love BW, Hotels for their value, accommodations, décor and location, location, location. Keep up the Most Awesome work....:)

"Little Area with a Lot of Heart"
I stayed at this Best Western in Battleground and was very happy with the service I had. Cathy & Valerie were so kind & just provided the most humble hospitality that I didn't expect. It felt very much like Texas- my home- to me. I loved the salt water spa & pool; breakfast always has the wonderful varieties that you get at all Best Westerns. The housekeepers as so friendly and delightful! I really enjoyed their company as well. I have stayed in a few Best Westerns in Texas & Colorado but I will be happy to return to this one, and to see these two wonderful ladies again. Thank you for everything!

I stayed at the Best Western for 2 weeks. The staff is very nice and helpful. The room as was in was very nice and clean. I had one noisy neighbor in 2 weeks and the front desk took care of it right away. Next time I am in this area will stay there again. You have everything that you need near by,

Great hotel and breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and roomy. Unfortunately the guy next door snored so loud i didnt sleep well. It was a bit of a distance of the highway as well.

"Battleground Best Western"
There were extreme issues with a visiting baseball team. I called 3 days ahead to ensure a room to where I could rest due to a surgery I had scheduled that morning. I was not able to rest due to staff allowing kids to run up and down the entire hotel all night past 1 am and then again before 7am. The staff received numerous complaints and still did not get it under control.
Renee l, Front Office Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Yes, we spoke to you about the issue. Our staff worked at quieting the guests. We apologize that apparently we were not able to quiet a couple of the teenagers. They all arrived on a bus, so asking all rooms to leave was not an option, we will not be renting to them again because of this. I know we did compensate you for your stay. I hope you will give us a chance again to give us a try. Please call us directly, and we can see what we can do. Valerie
"was treated poorly from the start"
We went to stay at this hotel because it was conveniently located near my mother in laws nursing home. We went to check in and was told we hadn't paid ( our card had been charged a week ahead of time) once that was worked out we were told we needed a additional $100 for a deposit which we paid . we needed a clip board to get our licenses plate number. e were told no we couldn't have one and weren't offered anything to help but to take a picture of it. on of our shower heads weren't working and when reporting it to the desk we were met with hostility .We had the desk clerk rudely comment on us receiving calls and our callers were actually questioned on who they were. the pool was out of order for first 2 days we were there and bottom felt grimy when we finally got it . we did a load of laundry before leaving took $6 to dry one load. we had a emergency come up where my brother in law needed to stay. we had two queen beds in our room and called and offered to pay extra if he stayed and was told It was ok. my husband and his bother went to the fitness room and were confronted by the same angry women asking all agitated if he was staying here. when they answered yes she didn't respond and left in a huff. we went to check out and offered for someone to come with s to the room so we could have our deposit back instead we had to come down and sit in cold lobby with my child while they inspected it
, Front Office Manager at Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
On behalf of our team at the hotel, we are sorry we did not exceed your expectations. We will be doing some more training on our staff for better customer service. I hope you will give us a try again, and see the improvements. thank you once again for your honest opinion.
"Okay at low season rates, but wouldn't pay peak season rates..."
2 night stay in a King room during February for a reasonable rate of approximately $75/nite (with AAA discount). We have family in the area and have the option of staying in Battleground or in Salmon Creek/Vancouver north. We have our favorites in Salmon Creek so decided to give this only hotel in Battleground a try for comparison. I have looked at this hotel in the summer peak season and seen the rates about $130ish, so $75/nite is pretty nice. But I wouldn't pay the summer rates for this hotel. Pros: - only hotel in Battleground, WA so if you need it, it works. - very convenient for local amenities, like a Dutch Bros coffee right across the street, Safeway, fast food options, great Thai place, Red Robin, and other restaurants a few minutes away. - room was clean, staff helpful and friendly. - bathroom was good size with 1 sink and adequate counter space. Stayed in a nicer Best Western earlier in the week where the bathroom was a bit tight in a King Suite room, so that's why I noticed. - breakfast is the basic and normal fare. It will get you out the door. Scrambled eggs, sausage, waffle maker, cereals, etc. (One note both days we were there in Feb. the temperature in the breakfast room was way too hot. Folks were opening windows to try and cool down.) Cons: - Best Western beds are a deal breaker for me. Two BW hotels the same week and the issue was the same - too firm, not enough bed covers, okay pillows. Hubby didn't complain about the mattress, but was also unhappy with the sheet and one thin blanket. Extra blanket was available in the closet, but again lightweight. Other hotels have a down type blanket or something more substantial. We asked for a third blanket. - the heating/cooling system thermostat was not accurate and a bit noisy. So ya, bedding issue could be solved with room temp setting but it was a pain to get it where we felt comfortable. Always too hot or too cold. - Road/car noise was high. Which is kind of odd since our room faced 15th Ave which is a small side street in a small town. But sound insulation must be low in this building. It was oddly noisy. - yes, the hotel layout is a bit odd as mentioned by other reviewers, as the ground floor is all business space. If you are staying here for ambiance as you enter the hotel, this is not the place. If you are staying here for a place to sleep, you'll be fine. - speaking of ambiance, the room decor and feel in the King room is very basic and felt sparse. I've stayed in smaller rooms that are richer and warmer in feel simply by the paint color and art on the walls. For off season $75/nite, its fine. For peak season $130/nite disappointing. I should note this hotel does have some specialty suites with unique designs which you can view on their website. The normal king room was just okay. Conclusion - at the low off season rate, I could stay here and deal with the uncomfortable bed. When we are in the area during the summer, will choose to stay at other locations in Salmon Creek.

Thank you very much for taking the time to fill out the survey. I appreciate and value your opinions. We will be taking a look at our decor, and with our beds we will be assessing them. We look forward to any future stay with us, and again thank you for your opinion.
"Fix the pool."
The swimming pool was out of order. Need a bathroom fan in the rooms. The bacon and sausage were undercooked, the scramble eggs were dry. It would be great to have an alternate non-pork breakfast meat like turkey bacon or turkey sausage.
, Front Office Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
On behalf of our team we sincerely apologize for our pool being down at the time of your stay. we will be looking into alternative options for items on our breakfast to offer. We value your opinions so that will help us in the future. I hope you will give us another try. thank you and take care
"Good hotel --only hotel"
This is the only hotel in Battleground. The exterior is nondescript as it is attached to a mattress store but inside was great. Friendly staff, clean rooms with microwave and fridge. Very comfortable bed. The hotel breakfast, had way more options than most and the hot food was fresh and good.
"Always a nice place to stay"
Nice clean rooms, beds could be a little softer and breakfast is the full meal deal~! Staff is wonderful. Has a lot of parking. Right down town location is great Battleground closes the sidewalks on weekends very early.
"Hard to beat location and friendly Staff"
I've stayed here before many times but they change things around and it's always a great place to stay when in this area. Staff is very nice, hotel is very clean. They have all the ammentities you could want and if you are lucky enough to meet Valerie you will really like her. She's very accomodating and very " on it" and efficient. Bindya is also so nice and makes you feel at home.
"Great staff"
First visit to this BW. Great staff and welcoming and at checkout. Nice room with a king size up to the BW standard. Ample parking and pricing is better than for similar BWs in Vancouver. We will be back.
"Best Check-in experience of our trip"
Great location, close to our relatives. But,the hotel clerk Valerie made us feel very welcome. She was kind, helpful and efficient. Ohers have said the customer service was not good. That was not our experience. I travel a lot. Our clerk Valerie was great!!

I am so glad you had a wonderful experience with us and I thank you for sharing. Valarie is a super great asset to our team and I am glad you were treated as you should be. Take care and we look forward to your future stays.
"Interesting and Disappointing "
After working 60 hour weeks for the past month, my boyfriend wanted to surprise me some time to relax for 1. Our anniversary and 2. Another long week ahead. Working in hotels myself, I know the level of service I expect to get and what different steps should be taken to make guests feel welcome. We've stayed here before and gotten the room with a jacuzzi tub and it was perfect for the two of us to relax and enjoy ourselves while also not spending too much. This time around wasn't quite the same experience. We walked into our room and didn't have a jacuzzi tub anywhere... It was just a large room. So when we went down to the desk, the guests staying in it the previous night had stayed and then they were sold out. Why wasn't that explained at check-in? And why was that our problem? The room we got was musty and you could tell the instant you walked in. When we opened the windows to get some fresh air in, the cars on the street right below us were very loud because it was so close. And then the wifi barely even worked in our room as we couldn't even get any signal to hold on to allow us to do anything on the Internet. My boyfriend felt so bad because it was just one thing after another that he couldn't do to make this more relaxing and enjoyable. When we came down in the morning and were asked how our stay was our response was, "Interesting". And then there was no questions as to what could have been better. My boyfriend just told her what happened throughout the night because she certainly wasn't going to ask. Then the, "oh yeah we couldn't just kick the other guests out" and "next time just book directly through us" explanations came out. At the end of the day, you should never make any of your guests feel like they're beneath any of the other. We just wanted a relaxing night away from our stresses and instead just got the hotel's problems in our laps with no sort of empathy or welcoming gesture that made us feel at home. And quite frankly it just turned into more of a disappointing trip. And make sure to book directly through the hotel... You'll get treated like this if you don't, apparently.
"Customer Service Was Awful"
From about 11 pm to 8 am in the morning, the room next to us was extremely loud in their room and the hall. When I called the front desk at 6 am they said they would do something but I never heard anyone even attempt it. When I went down in the morning, the front desk lady said that if they are making noise in their room - there's nothing they can do about it. Really? So even if it's disturbing other guests sleep - it's okay to make noise in your hotel room. Needless to say, there's plenty of clean hotels that do something if guests are being loud so I can't recommend anyone to stay here. At the end of the day, if guests are being disruptive - they could have offered us another room or at least attempted to quiet them. They did neither.
"Price Right great Beds"
We needed a place to stay near Portland, found Battle Ground Inn BW plus. The location is near the boarder of Oregon and Washington. The hotel is new and has great beds. I found it to be clean and staff helpful. It is about 15 minutes from Portland and the difference in price did not justify the distance. Don't stay in Portland city it is a homeless encampment. I was a little suspicious when the Best Western we stayed at advised us it would be better to stay on the outskirts of the city.
Renee l, General Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for staying with us in Battleground and for leaving a review for other travelers. We are tucked right in the middle of a great little town and with 12 room types we have something for everyone and will always strive to keep rates comparible and affordable. See you on your next trip!!
"Unclean, showing signs of wear already"
Bed sheets did not appear to have been washed or changed recently. Split on side of mattress, holes in armchair. The carpet is filthy. The hallways smelled of insecticide. The bathroom sink was clogged. Shampoo/conditioner/bath gel containers stuck to the wall like at a gym, they were empty. Fortunately I brought my own. Staff was nice, complimentary breakfast was good and hot. Surprised this motel is looking so tired already as its only about 5-8 years old.
"Hotel accomidation"
The stay in this particular hotel was very pleasant and comfortable the amenities are very simple and quite nice . Comfortable bed , room was very clean and had a working iron and ironing board. Breakfast was good all said the stay was good.
Renee l, General Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for picking Battleground and we are so glad you had a wonderful stay! Hope to have you back next time your in the area. Take care
"Kyle's Review"
Overall a good hotel and great staff. Lots of great amenities in the area that's a close drive. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast is delicious. The only downside is the lighting in our room was quite dark.
Renee l, General Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so Much for choosing our Best Western. Any and all feedback is so appreciated. Battleground is the best secret great town. Glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again soon . Let me know when you need to stay again I have the perfect room for you that has lots of windows and extra in room lighting !!
"Noisy Room"
This was the loudest room I've every stayed at. I felt like the cars on the hwy were coming right through the room, even with earplugs. Hotel was built on top of a strip mall type building not really a stand alone building. Lots of traffic.
"Right on the main east/west road. Friendly staff"
Other reviews were not so good, but our stay was quiet, comfortable and clean. Great breakfast room with two types of waffle machines and plenty more to eat. The ladies working breakfast very friendly and efficient. Italian restaurant 2 blocks away was recommended as a close-by option. We didn't try it....probably should have instead of a fast food place that was poor. Since it was close to a main street thought it might be noisy with traffic, but it all quieted down and we didn't have any noisy guests in other rooms.
"vacation"
It was great! breakfast was the best, kids were loving it. the pool and hotr tub were clean and relaxing. staff went out of their way to make the stay the best! Best western hotels are my first and only choice. clean comfortable and the price is right.
"Seemed great until we tried to sleep "
Of our 7 night vacation this one night ( thankfully ) stay was the worst night's sleep. People upstairs banging around until past 10pm, the a/c unit was really loud or completely silent. It would not turn on when it needed to and there was no just fan option to create white noise to block out the other guests' noise or the street noise. Water pressure was almost non existent I the shower. Toilet seat flimsy and moved alot when sitting on it ( and we are not big people). Breakfast was similar to our stay at another Best western Plus, but the waffle batter was so watered down the waffles didn't cook right ( gooey in the middle)
"Great Experience"
The hotel staff was professional in their wanting to make your stay great experience. The rooms were large and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent hot with a large selection. The salt water pool and hot tub top every thing off.
"Avoid at all costs"
Carpet in room was disgustingly dirty and smelly. I noticed a review from 4 weeks ago to which the manager replied to the reviewer claiming the carpets had just been cleaned. Well, they forgot room 327, don't know if they have ever been cleaned but they now need to be replaced. There was no shower curtain so when taking a shower the water sprayed all over the floor. Really noisy, terrible night's sleep. Don't stay here!
"smoking neighbors, why even have a unenforceable policy"
could not do anything about smoking neighbors even with a no smoking policy, no enforcement of policy makes the policy not valid, we had to endure two sleepless nights due to our neighbors smoking causing irritation for my kids asthma, I was not able to get a similar room since the hotel was booked.
"Salt Water Swim"
This was our only salt water swim in our journey to the Oregon Coast- it was too windy and dangerous out on the ocean at this time of year. Our room was fine- it was the last one and happened to have the handicapped amenities that I'm glad we didn't need. Breakfast was great- it was the only hotel in our travels that had bacon on the complimentary breakfast menu, much to my daughter's delight! Thanks for a great stay!
"Best Place To Stay When Going to Sunlight Supply Amphitheater"
From the warm greeting we received from what we believe to be the owner as we checked in and to the end when we checked out, we have found our spot to book whenever we had attend shows in the area. The room was a decent size, was very clean and had a pleasant shower. It was incredibly quiet. Had she not told us there was a reunion going on, we would have not known others were staying there it was that quiet. Although we didn't partake of the breakfast buffet, from what we saw we would have taken part had we had more time. From the venue, it's only a 10-minute drive to the hotel. Parking was free as well, which is a pleasant change from other properties.
"Vacation 2016"
Great hotel. Clean. Comfortable beds and friendly staff. For the price it's a great deal. Nearby restaurants and it's a middle spot for surrounding activities and sights. Very well thought out and convenient, although the breakfast was a little disappointing it served its purpose has a hotel breakfast.
"Great place, great price!"
Check in was easy with an attentive front desk person. Salt water swimming pool and hot tub were clean and the kids loved them. Breakfast was very good, with lots of choices. Room was quite large, beds were nice and comfortable. Overall, a wonderful stay!
"Avoid"
Hall carpet filthy, room carpet dirty, elevator dirty, place smelled, WiFi so so couldn't play a video without pausing. Beds ok, shower and bathroom ok although exhaust fan didn't work, breakfast was basic microwave stuff. Would not recommend to a friend nor will I stay there again.
Renee l, General Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Good day to you and I am so very sorry you seemed to really have a awful stay. We actually just had the carpets professionally cleaned less then a month ago- some staining has returned and they are coming out this week to fix the spots that need it. Without your name I am unable to personally contact you and find out what we can do better for you and to earn your business and that of your friends. Most all our guests rave about the breakfast buffet and weekly we offer more and more options. If there is something you would like to see please do let us know. We value each and every guest and I would love to keep you informed about our constant updates to hotel and WiFi. Take care and I do hope you reconsider and try us again- I would love to give you an upgrade to one of our themed suites. Thanks Again
"Battle Ground"
Very nice, not too far from the Portland airport. We were heading on up to Gig Harbor and this was a quick stop for a night after a late flight. Hotel was clean, beds comfy, staff were nice and coffee was great. If you were looking for it there is a giant pot store across the street.
Renee l, General Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Good to have met your needs. We are located in a convenient location between other cities to allow for easy access. Glad you were able to stay with us and hope to have you stay again when in the area. We do tend to run pretty full so calling ahead is always the best idea to make sure you get a room. Take care and have a wonderful day.
"Family Reunion in Battle Ground area"
This Best Western was in perfect location for our family reunion with relatives in Battle Ground and also in Portland Oregon. The staff were friendly - hotel was clean and coffee was very good. Near parks in Battle Ground and Vancouver WA and easy drive to Portland.
Renee l, General Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so much for your choosing our Hotel for such a special event. Your family was charming and I am so very glad all went well. We appreciate the good review and for letting other guests know how your stay was and about being close to other cities. Take care and we would love to have you stay again.
"Great nights rest!"
After a busy day in Seattle and a few hours on the road we were happy to stop her on our way to Bend, Oregon. We really enjoyed our stay here. Everyone was very friendly, room was very nice and breakfast was good. Would definitely stay here again.
"Business"
We stayed at this hotel Wednesday and Thursday. Nice spacious room on second floor, as there are no ground floor rooms at this facility. View wasn't bad. Fitness room nice equipment modern. Breakfast is on second floor also. Over all, this was a nice place, eateries and shopping just minutes away.
"comfortable"
The hotel was nice and had a very good continental breakfast however the phone in the room did not work but since we were there for only one night we endured it. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is over a strip mall
"Best and only place to stay in Battle Ground!"
Nice, comfortable atmosphere. Large rooms. Average breakfast. Responsive front desk staff. Overall it was clean, however twice we had to request regular coffee for the room, and the breakfast area floor was sticky from spilled food. We will stay again.
"Fix your customer service"
Rooms Clean, hotel clean, stayed in a double queen not queens at all their fulls, Agent who checked me in was not trained to or how to treat a platinum member and when we asked to get are 1 water and snack she had to call her boss, then later my husbands key didn't work so he return to desk to find her telling her boss lies and smack talking my husband then when she came out my husband asked do you have anything else you want to say about me she replied oh i was talking about the laundry lmao
"Nice non-smoking hotel that was a little hard to find."
We stayed at the hotel on Saturday & Sunday. We were unexpectedly given a large room on the 3rd floor. It was a very nice & large room with a sofa & 2 small couches, a table & chairs and a bathroom with a bathtub and a very nice & large mural of Mt St Helen's on the wall. Having the dispensers for soap, shampoo & conditioner on the wall of the shower was great. I wish I had that at home. The morning breakfast was good with a nice variety. Our room was right next to the Library and while I didn't have a chance to visit it the kids I saw in it seem to be enjoying it very much. The same thing goes for the pool. I only have a few complaints. The water pressure from the shower head was so hard I rushed through my shower as quickly as I could and the noise from Main Street/Highway 502 was very loud until about midnight and then picked up again in the morning. The entrance to the hotel is on the side street but there were no signs indicating the hotel was down that street & the GPS didn't know it either. We missed it the first time since you can't see the hotel from Main Street/Highway 502. Nice experience overall. I loved that it was a non-smoking hotel.
"OK but certainly nothing special"
Two things detracted from our stay. 1) Breakfast, while extensive in selection, was mediocre. Rubber eggs, greasy bacon. 2) In room WIFI (very important to me) was a disaster. In and out (mostly out) for the duration of our 4 day stay.
"Off the Freeway, pleasant."
A quaint, country, at ease experience awaits this short hop off the busy I-5 freeway. We were greeted and guided by a competent attentive staff, giving all appropriate attention. Spending a night in this inviting small town made us wish for more.
"King suite"
large with small bar and large bathroom, not for disabled. Couch bed not good King bed good mattress No table and chairs in suite did have a desk with a chair and one 3-drawer chest of drawer no suitcase stands
"Battle Ground's #1 hotel"
A must if in Battle Ground hotel is very nice with very clean and spacious rooms with friendly staff around the clock. Breakfast is wonderful with an variety of choices for everyone. I will defiantly be back again
"business trip"
Very nice staff, very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is very quiet at night. It is at a good location, easy to reach food, gas. The breakfast is quite reasonable, but the lady who takes care of things there, Cathy, is incredibly nice. We will continue to stay there. The only disappointment, the Guest printer is nearly useless, and needs to be replaced
"Great experience"
We were pleasantly surprised at the niceness of the room, the overall cleanliness of the motel and the great customer service and friendliness of the staff. We will certainly stay there again when in the area and will recommend to others.
"Our stay at Best Western Plus, BattleGround, Wa"
My husband and I traveled to Battleground, Wa. for a Kentucky Derby party with friends who lived in the area. We went up early to have time to see the town, since this was our first visit. The hotel staff were all totally wonderful and accommodating during our entire stay. The king size bed wasn't very comfortable and the toilet seat slipped a little when you moved (scared me to death the first time! ha! ha!) but the staff made up for any discomfort, physically. I totally recommend this hotel and especially the staff.
"TOP NOTCH"
This hotel staff and accommodations are great. The town also has 2 state parks for walking, running, picnicking, or relaxing. There are many good restaurants in the vicinity as well as a cozy coffee spot in an old church
"Staying in Battle Ground Washington"
We have stayed here before when visiting familyand both times the place is clean and people are polite and helpful. We recommend this Best Western to all who stay in Battle Ground. They also have a pool and hot tub which my kids thoroughly enjoyed.
Renee l, General Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Wonderful! Always great to have returning guests. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and to let other guests know about our indoor Salt water pool and Hot tub. They are very popular! Enjoy your summer and I hope to see you again. Thanks
"Battle Ground Easter"
Very nice stay. I would have enjoyed a brief non-denominational Easter devotional as time constraints prevented going to a local Easter service. I also enjoyed the simple library. I chose a childrens' book for my grandson before bedtime and read a book of my own late night without disturbing sleeping family members. The salt water pool is great. The shower had an upgraded showerhead. The large mirror/closet door was a nice touch however the lighting was subpar. The beds were rather hard.
Renee l, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for being our guest over the Easter Holiday. So very glad you were able to enjoy the Pool and the library. We appreciate the feedback and glad you liked the shower heads. Take care and hope to see you again.
"Mostly Great"
I had two issues that might not be a problem for others depending on the which room you get and other guests. 1) sound insulation seemed minimal with significant noise intrusion from the hallway, other rooms and outside. 2) the curtains did not effectively block the light from outside lighting. Everything else was great. In a different room (not overlooking the parking lot) this place might have been perfect.
Renee l, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for choosing our Best Western Plus. I appreciate any and all feedback. The street facing room has double paned windows- but I will check to be suer they are working well. Our new LED lighting in our lot is much brighter then the non LED so I will check into other options on the window coverings, thank you for letting us know.
"Review Very Good"
Motel was very clean and parking was good because I had a trailer, it was close to downtown and convenient. Staff was very good and helpful. I would stay here again, The breakfast was very good and variety. It was clean and well organized.
Renee l, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for your review and hope to have your return again. Take care and safe travels.
"Great Hotel! Very economical"
Clean and welcoming. Awesome salt water pool. Good breakfast. Nothing absolutely amazing, but the complementary breakfast satisfied all of the needs of our whole family. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious.
Renee l, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
We appreciate you taking the time to let us and other travelers know about your stay. Very glad you were able to enjoy the Salt Water Pool it is very popular. Glad your family enjoyed the breakfast and keep an eye out because we are rolling out many new options and tastes! Thank you
"Quiet - clean and comfortable"
Stayed one night, comfortable bed - shower okay. Very friendly and clean, good breakfast. Battle Ground is about 5 miles off the Interstate 5 so it is a bit of a drive if you are travelling on this freeway. But it is also a nice little town and quiet. I would pick 3rd floor room next time as could hear overhead noise.
Renee l, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Good day and thank you for taking the time to leave feedback for us and to help future guests see how your stay was. We do have a super nice small town feel but with everything you would need. Thanks again and hope to see you back!
"Great Hotel"
The staff went out of their way to assist us - they take pride in the hotel and taking care of their guests. They have a nice swimming pool and hot tub. The rooms are very comfortable and this was our second stay at this hotel and probably not our last!
Renee l, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for your informative review, so glad you had a enjoyable visit and we look forward to your future travels. Thank you, Renee
"Good service, ordinary hotel, very noisy."
The photos show trees outside the hotel. Yes, there are trees, but there's also a small highway, used by trucks early in the morning. Light sleepers beware. It's also very far from Portland central, in a commercial zone (gas stations, fast food restaurants, etc). On the positive side, staff cheerfully swapped my room to give me the quietest possible one they could, which I appreciated. One more negative: this hotel seems to completely ignore this little trend called sustainability. Lots of disposable everything, and not even recycling in the hotel. I wouldn't recommend this hotel, but if you are in a pinch, as I was, it will do.
Renee l, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Good day and thank you for leaving us feedback on your recent stay. We are located in the center of Battle ground on Main St. Not quite a highway, sorry you experienced road noise. We do attempt to satisfy every guests requests- so if needed always request away from the road- or not near ice machine etc. Currently this area does not offer commercial recycling, so we do our best to separate the items and have installed motion detector lights and have implemented shampoo dispensers, towel recycle program, and use all Green products. Doing our part to help the environment will always be one of our top goals. Take care and travel safe.
"Warm welcome!"
The staff at this hotel go out of their way to make your stay a memorable one. They are extraordinarily welcoming and helpful! It is a rare experience in a chain hotel, albeit a good one! Will return here in the future.

"Best Western in Battle Ground"
Sisters weekend. Although most of us live in the area, we wanted to have a place for the night for us. It was a great choice! The staff were very nice and we had a great time. Because we all 4 got new tattoos that night, we could not us the salt water pool.
Helen l, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Very glad your sisters Weekend went well, hope to see you again and maybe you can use the pool !! I really appreciate you taking the time to let other travelers know about your stay!! Thanks,
"Wonderful stay at Best Western in Battle Ground, WA"
Our family has a wonderful experience at this hotel and we were treated very well by the staff. Very clean rooms that are beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the breakfast and the employee who worked in the breakfast room. We will definitely stay there again.
"Great stay"
We are staying here for a couple of nights for a family gathering. The rooms are larger than most and everything sparkles. This morning's breakfast was plenty, with a nice selection and the hostess was friendly and helpful. A delightful surprise in a town the size of Battle Ground.
"Business Trip and Pleasant Stay"
I have stayed at this hotel 4 times at least and I stay there because where I have to do presentations at schools is near by. I have also stayed with our summer baseball team over a weekend and we played at Battle Ground High School's baseball field which is very close to the hotel. The hotel is very quiet because it is just off a busy street, Main Street but it is isolated enough to get any extra unwanted noise.
kendapollard, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review

"Excellent"
Best breakfast of any hotel we have stayed in, and we have had a lot of hotel breakfasts! The staff was great. Check-in was quick and easy. Check-out was even quicker! The room was clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were great, and open later than most. Definitely will stay here next time we are in the area!

Fantastic having you as our guest! Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and to let other travelers know about our property. Be on the lookout for even more surprises in our breakfast ! Thank You!
"You cannot beat the combination"
Located 5 miles off of the freeway but that 5 miles puts you in a quiet safe and friendly town. And that short distance gives you the lowest price anywhere for a Best Western Plus. Big rooms, good free breakfast, friendly staff, very clean hotel. And only about 2 miles from a great spot for fish and chips or salad dinner.
"Plain Property"
Nothing plus about this best western. Run of the mill amenities. Only nice feature was the 40" TVs and complete access to DIRECTV. Hotel is on top of a stripmall, 2nd floor reaked of food. As a small crew working nights for our 2 days there, we were offered fresh coffee to be available just before our shift. Neither night was this promise fulfilled. Beware CLC guests, no points from these tightwads. Stay in Kelso.
"Great hotel and staff in Battle Ground, WA"
My wife and I spent a night here in Battle Ground as we were considering retiring to this community. The staff were wonderfully caring. They also gave us a free upgrade to a suite which we thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

"Better Than Expected - Very Nice"
This is a small hotel in a small town, and frankly it seems to be a bit ahead of its host community (like the BW Plus in Washougal, WA). We spent a great evening in large king room, located under the roof peak with a truly epic ceiling height. I was surprised to find the hotel in eight years old. It is very well maintained and seems newer. Good job, guys! The common areas are compact and clean. We did not use the pool, but it looked inviting. The elevator has a full-size car, which is nice - I do not care for the mini elevators one sometimes sees in this grade of hotel. They seem to be rewiring the smoke alarm system on the second floor so when we stayed there was some exposed wires on the ceiling. Judging by the level of upkeep we saw, i expect it won't be that way forever. A nice touch in the common areas was the "library" on the north end of the third floor. it has some books and a couple chairs and large windows with a great view of Mt St. Helens. There is even a big infographic poster (about three by five feet) about the volcano and its history. Breakfast was in a small and busy room which was kept stocked and very clean by the attendant. Standard Best Western food: waffles, biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, potatoes (I think), breads, cereals (including froot loops), fruit, oatmeal, juice, milk, coffee/tea. I probably missed something. No need to leave hungry. We received a warm, genuine welcome on check-in, which set the tone for our stay. Checking out was similarly friendly. The room was very large and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, but not magically comfortable like Westin. The TV was large, had a great picture and swiveled to cover either the bed or the sitting area. Cable was through Direct TV and many channels were unavailable. I had no idea so many shopping channels existed. The bathroom was large and tidy with nice tile flooring and slab granite counter and shower/tub enclosure. It looked recently grouted. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are in dispensers on the wall of the shower. It took some effort to get the gel to pump out. The coffee maker was missing the little tray that holds the pod in, so I was unable to make coffee in the room. That was really a non-issue, because the breakfast room (and the lobby, I think) had coffee waiting for me.

"We enjoyed our stay"
I was very pleased with the value of this hotel. It was only $10 more than we paid for the last motel we stayed in and for that extra $10 there is coffee in the room and coffee in the lobby and it had free breakfast, pool and fitness center. I wish the desk was big enough to play a board game or cards or had a table in the room for eating or playing games. My grandson had to use the stool up against the night stand to eat dinner. The freezer didn't work and that was a disappointment. To be fair, I didn't report the freezer to staff. The staff are great! We felt welcomed and valued. We are going back in two weeks.

"Great place to stay"
Very nice and clean rooms. The staff were most helpful and made our stay enjoyable. Our grandsons had a good time is the indoor pool, it is open until eleven in the evening so plenty of time for swimming. Breakfast is included in the morning and was good.

"It's a place to sleep"
We stayed here over Thanksgiving for 3 nights. I had to wait to check in because the lone clerk was on the phone. Our room only got half cleaned, as if the worker had been interrupted. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable and the shower worked well. There are no other motels/hotels in Battleground, this is the only choice.
kendapollard, General Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Battle Ground Inn & Suites, responded to this review

Thank you, Kenda Pollard, cho General Manager
"clean and great staff, but noisey"
Road noise quite loud in my room, and could hear people in the next room using the bathroom. All of the staff were great. I stay and Best western a lot for work and was surprised by the seemingly thin walls, and lack of sound insulation

"BW Battle Ground WA"
I stayed here with my two sons and their families. We stayed here after a stressful week and this hotel provided the amenities that were needed to both relax, while also offering the grandkids a place to let some steam off (in the indoor pool). My room was nice, but a little odd in its use of space. Breakfast was good, but it could have been a little better. The scrambled eggs were a little overdone and the link sausages were the inexpensive kind vs. something like a Johnsonville breakfast link sausage. All in all it was better than most and that is why I generally stay at a Best Western establishment.

"Perfect in every way"
This hotel was in such a quiet location. Very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly , informative and very courteous. Breakfast was great, lots of choices. My husband is still bragging about their awesome biscuits and gravy. The breakfast staff kept the foods restocked, met us with a smile and wished us a safe trip when we were leaving.

"Great Location - Good Service"
Feels like a small European Hotel only the rooms are large enough to turn around in! The staff make you feel at home from the moment you arrive and are very friendly. It is mostly very quiet. It is also the only hotel in Battleground!

"Over priced"
The only reason I chose this hotel was because it is the only hotel in Battleground, WA. The room had a very large spot on the carpet and had a over bearing sweet smell. I had a construction worker (that is what he told me) try to enter my room. I had the latch on the door and a Do Not disturb sign hanging on the outside. Gave me the creeps.

"Vacation"
This was an excellent place to stop. The hotel was very clean, and the pool was great. The staff were very helpful and I would certainly stay there again. It's location was a good place to stop as we were heading for the border to cross into Canada

"Nice stay and facilities"
They had a comfy bed, very nice staff, and a good pool/spa facility. The free breakfast was run-of-the mill with powdered eggs but the coffee was good. Overall, its a very good value and close to shopping, park, and freeway to get to Vancouver or Portland.

"The Only Hotel in Battle Ground, WA."
This hotel is ever changing. Every time I go they've modernized, upgraded, added to, painted or changed something. The two queen bed room has got to be the roomiest in the industry. Breakfast is nice and it's quiet at night.

"A good layover for this hiking area"
As all the Best Western, you know what you will have. Clean room, somewhat spacious but nothing fancy. This one is well situated in the town of Battleground, and we had 2 days here to do some hinking this summer. It was a good choice. Wifi was kinda fast, and of course free parking. As always in this category of hotel in USA, breakfast is somewhat poor. Baggles, muffins, toast, mixed eggs, and microwaved warm meat. Nothing fresh at all. Maybe 2 bananas but nothing more. It's ok for 2 nights but more, i'll have to go buy some fruits or eat at a dinner where i can eat something else. Apart of that, it was what we expected, calm and clean.
