SureStay Plus by Best Western Minot

The rooms were good. Staff was amazing. Super friendly and went out of their way with little things like noticing the kids eating breakfast and putting cartoons on for them. Also a very affordable option to park and fly. There is not a shuttle but can get a reasonable 8 dollar Uber to the airport.

The carpet was cleaned on my hand and knees the minute I checked in and it smelled and was dusty and hairy. I had issues with my card and was extremely sick almost ended up in the hospital and no compassion whatsoever.

The reservation we made months ago for a first floor room was not honoured and when we arrived at 7:00 pm the room was given to someone else. The elevator was broken and we had to take 4 large bags up and down the stairs. The manager was gone. Very disappointing!

The manager, Rock, upgraded us to a King room on the third floor. The rooms have been renovated and were very nice. The towels were nice and fluffy, and the bed was comfortable. Nice breakfast selection. A very nice stay! We look forward to returning.

Building is wore out. Elevator broke the day we checked in and was not repaired during our 3 day stay. Toilet was not secured to the floor. It rocked every time we sat down. No housekeeping services were done or offered. Only way we got fresh towels was by calling the desk.

Only stay here if you can sleep through anything! My husband and kids are very heavy sleepers and were all woken up multiple times each night. I have never slept so horribly at a hotel before. First night, when it got dark, I noticed the curtains did not close, just sheers. We had a room above the entrance and parking lot lights shined right in. You could hear every step in the room above and in the hallway. Just before midnight, a bus pulled up so that was 45 minutes of people coming in and getting settled. The pipes in the walls made banging noises whenever the person upstairs used water. Second night was even worse, the hallway noise was terrible of people who were just speaking at a normal volume. Then I have no idea what was going on but around midnight, there was so sort of construction noise outside. I could hear the beeping from a truck backing up, then banging like it was unloading something. I looked outside and could see lights down the street. This went on for about an hour. I turned on a sound machine on my phone to try to drown it out. I then still woke up multiple times until I got up, likely from pipe and hallway noise. I liked everything else about the hotel, but if my husband can't get a good sleep, then the noise is way too much!

We stayed here for 2 nights. I only gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because breakfast was a little on the dull side and pool are could have used to be cleaned a little better. It was manageable though. Great friendly staff and room was clean, quiet, and bed was comfortable!

The rooms were dated and the shower curtain was missing. The emergency doors to the motel did not work! The pool was closed, and each pet was charged a separate fee. Entrance way to motel was dirty with cracked cement which led me to immediately realize I had made a big mistake making a reservation to stay here. This is the second Sure Stay motel I have been disappointed in! There will not be a third!

Comfortable beds and room was really clean. The desk staff was really friendly. The only downside is that weekend breakfast doesn't start until 7am. It would have been nice if it started at 6 like during the week so we could have hit the road sooner. Other than that, it's a nice hotel for the money.

Stayed here while in town for a family getaway. Hotel has a great location near the mall. Overall hotel is a little dated, room as a good size but could use some TLC. Our room had a fridge and microwave. Beds were comfortable. Pool and pool area is small. Our last day at the hotel swimming lessons started up which was awkward. The one parent (there were 2 parents and 2 kids in the pool with the instructor) kept announcing loudly to her child that it was time for 'swimming lessons', which seemed like a way to try to guilt us out of the pool. As noted, the pool area is not large so someone running swimming lessons out of it is not ideal. We ended up leaving soon after the lessons started. Disappointing that as a hotel guest we felt obligated to leave so we didn't disrupt the lessons. Breakfast was average, not a ton of selection but no real complaints with the food that was offered. Not sure if we will be back to this property. Location is good but several other negatives that occurred on our stay will force us to consider other properties next time we are in town.

Stayed for a weekend in July 2023. Pros -central location & close to mall -breakfast was average/typical Cons -way over priced for this hotel (but to be fair all Minot hotels seem to be over-priced currently) -no housekeeping (which is fine but should be mentioned on the website and when booking and is hard to accept when you factor in the high price for average hotel) -very dated hotel -pool was closed the entire weekend for repairs Overall it was an average hotel with a high price. I would consider staying again but will definitely consider other options before rebooking. Dave

Davis at the front desk made our stay worth it , he was more than willing to help with anything we needed . Very understaffed hotel . Pool closed ( due to repairs ) . Hotel could use a update , but over all pretty decent

Can walk to Mall, so close. They had vendors and entertainment set up in the downtown area. Didn't realize Minot was so beautiful and clean. Great city. Recommend Bones Steakhouse & Grill- Superb pulled pork etc. Best meal in a long time. Great memories

Stopped here on a business trip, arguably one of the best hotels I've stayed at. Staff go above and beyond here to make sure you're helped and good with the accommodations. Speaking of, accommodations are great at a really decent price. Really great beds and soft pillows, shower and all was superb. Place was nice and quiet, plenty of extras come with your stay. Highly recommend this place.

Room 319 was clean and good size. Sink area was a little small, but worked. Beds were comfortable and did not hear highway at night. Breakfast is a little spartan, but enough to fill you up. Coffee was pretty good. Pool area seemed good, but we didn't use. Area seemed very safe.

Our first time experiencing this brand of Best Western hotels. Stayed for the nights of March 18 and 19, 2023. Let's start with few positives: location of the hotel is ideal. You can walk to shopping and restaurants if weather allows. Property was kept clean as well. However there are many negatives which is why I have given only two stars to this property. As soon we entered the lobby there was very strong Chlorine and bleach smell almost unbearable. Pool is very close to lobby but to make matter worse laundry is located right behind the front desk and there was no effort made to at least hide the rusted machines or exposed chemicals all over. Not a good sight. We were told that Queen room that we reserved not available so we will get upgrade to King. That was nice of them however room had many issues. There was no bedside table on the right side of the bed. Very narrow space to move out of the bed. So can't keep phone, keys, watch etc near. One large drawer in the dresser was missing. Looks very unprofessional to sell room like this. Toilet was very loose (full fixture) not just seat. No housekeeping service was provided. When asked about it at the desk we were informed that housekeeping service is only on Monday and Friday. This information was not made available online at time of making reservation, which I considered cheating. This is not the the first time that hotels not disclosed this important info. This runs deep among hotels from Hilton to Marriott and now Best Western too. Room furniture looks from cheap roadside motel. Everything looks afterthoughts. No bedside table as mentioned before, TV was covering half of the dresser mirror. Sink tap was so short that you touched sink backside while washing hands. Carpet and paint seems newer. Didn't try breakfast. Will not stay this brand again anywhere in Canada or USA. Not recommended.

From walking in the door we felt very comfortable. It was a warm welcoming, the check-in process was quick. The front desk was engaging as well as informative and quick to assist and help with everything down to the best places to eat at in Minot. The hotel is in such a great location surrounded by the several shopping options, food establishments, the mall and walking distance of it all. We stayed on the newly remodeled 3rd floor and thought it was beautiful, comfortable and relaxing. I We will stay here again and highly recommend that others stay if they would like a great experience.
