Revel Minot, SureStay Collection by Best Western

WORST EXPERIENCE started as soon as we arrived and our booking of rooms wasn't what we booked or paid for!? So, the "so-called" Manager, Marcel gave us the option to "just leave then!" It's a long weekend, where would you find 3 rooms on a Friday....??? We finally after 45 minutes got that sorted out and got to our rooms....ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!! Our microwave had food plastered all inside, the bathroom taps were disgusting, the floors weren't washed and the kitchen sink kept plugging up! Our family and friends have been going here for the last 16 years when it was originally Kelly's Inn....this was definitely our LAST STAY! We will NEVER stay here again or recommend to anyone.

I'm so not impressed with the stay at this location it definitely was not worth the money we paid. The bathroom shower was dirty. There was sticky stuff on the carpet beside the bed. The swim and hot tub area was disgusting I will definitely not be recommending to anyone.

This was the absolute worst hotel stay I have ever had. Not because of the friendly front desk staff that checked us in but because other guests were allowed to continue their loud drunken pool party until after 430 AM. When we called to ask that they be reminded other guests would like some quiet at such a late hour (230AM).....they reacted by turning up the volume, shouting and continued their party until after 430. Cops should have been called. Honestly it was scary how blatant they were in disregarding hotel staff directions. The staff failed to act and it was a very uncomfortable, unsafe night and the response from the manager....well he was not available and has yet to contact us even though we requested a call

Not one of my best experiences. Very noise refrigerator in the room which l had to unplug in the middle of the night. The room was very dated and in need of upgrading. There had to be an insomniac in the room above as they were up thru the night walking around, in what sounded size 12 ski boots. The window coverings looked like original equipment and needed replacement. Just a bad experience.

Breakfast was really impressive as the host was industrious to keep everything in order. In Minot, the weather was very cooperative to us as travellers and there were several good restaurants along the highway, so we selected the Texas LongHouse restaurant for steak dinner. The hotel needs to upgrade its maintenance like carpet seam in the suite and door Ajax.

Good access to mall and shuttle for State Fair, which we enjoyed immensely. Hotel itself was not very clean and had some funky smells. Liked having exterior entrance to the back of the hotel though. Room was pretty small but had decent furniture but I'm doubtful that it was even cleaned before we checked in. There was a half-eaten block of cheese in the fridge, dirty microwave, and a bikini hanging on the door. Pillows were terrible and we just bought more at Target. Blood stain on the duvet made me question if the sheets were even changed at all.

Outstanding breakfast room staff. Frank was welcoming and kept the area clean and items topped up. Yogurt and oatmeal topping we amazing. Probably 20 different items. Also noticed that they offered gluten free bread. Like the close proximity of the hotel to the mall. Have been staying at this hotel for years. Used to be the Kelly Inn. Hotel only provides housekeeping after 3 days. They claim to be a “green” hotel. I worked for “Green hotel” that made up the beds. To call yourself a “Green hotel” should do more , no paper or plastic cups, plates, bowls etc. We were not aware of the housekeeping policy and used our towels to mop up a water issue. They delivered fresh towels on request. this is a minor issue and plan to continue using this hotel.

Very unique hotel, amazing staff and all around great experience! Did not encounter any problems during the stay. Pool and pool area were great and clean, quiet hours enforced as not to disturb individuals with a poolside room. Room was clean at check in and staff was very helpful for anything you needed!

We have stayed at this hotel many times and did again last week. This hotel gives great value for the price. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable with good pillows/linens. This hotel is a green hotel and only cleans every three days, however when we asked for clean towels, they didn't hesitate to deliver clean towels to our room. Frank in the breakfast room was absolutely amazing making sure food trays were always full, counters and floors cleaned and all with a big smile - could tell he enjoyed his job! When we returned home, I thought I had left my IPad in the room and called them and they checked right away, the Manager even checked the security cameras and called me personally- now that is customer service. Even once it was found at home and I had advised the hotel that I had it, he called back just to make sure everything was okay. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and will continue to stay there when we visit Minot!

Worst hotel ive ever stayed in, the pool and hottub are filthy and uncleaned( the water was green) the rooms didnt get cleaned for 3 nights after complaining ever night and the hotel itself is run down and smells of mold. Couldnt pay me to stay here again

This hotel is under NEW management and is much improved since last year. It has a hot and cold breakfast from 6.00 AM TO 9.00 AM. THE STAFF ARE ALL friendly and helpful. Also has a small bar in the lobby of the hotel. There is also a hot tub and a pool.

Hotel Revel is conveniently located to the mall and many other services within Minot. The hotel provides great economical value with a convenient location. The rooms were clean and quiet. We were always greeted and helped with any questions we had. Wouldn't hesitate staying here again!!

This is a tremendous value for price. Rooms are clean, the facility location is good, it has an indoor pool and hot tub, breakfast. I was there to watch a minot hot tots game and used the hot tots friends and family rate. the Hotel, which sponsors the team, also gave me VIP passes which included dinner and 3 drinks/person. Game was a lot of fun. Hotel staff were friendly. Really can't beat it

Poor customer service. No room service for two days. When we went to the front desk to ask for new towels, the desk clerk barely looked at us and didn't ask us how to help, she just waited until we asked. Clerk at check in was also unfriendly. Room was old and outdated. We had a door that open to the outside and we could see daylight under the door. The Website said rooms were updated, but it didn't look like any were.

This hotel is nasty. Would classify it as a motel. They are trying to update the rooms, but are only updating the floors in the rooms and not the furniture. We had a kitchen, however there were no pots, pans, dishes or utensils leaving the kitchen useless. The couch was gross and we wouldn't dare sit on it. The stairs in the hotel were in desperate need of being cleaned. The gym is pathetic and not as advertised. We left after one night and went elsewhere as this place was a dump. And don't even think about eating the breakfast. Also, if you have a room that faces the pool expecct noice until 11PM and you will be in a dungeon and not have a window to the outside world.

We stayed at this hotel for a getaway with family. We enjoyed the location of this hotel being so close to shopping and restaurants. The price was good and the employees went out of their way to accommodate us. The desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and the employee working there was friendly and worked so hard to keep everything full and clean. The hotel definitely needs some maintenance and cleaning.

The only complaint I have is my bed was hard, I didn't not get a goods night rest. Everything was great, hot tub in our room was lovely, breakfast was so cute and so good. The workers were all so nice and willing to help. I would definitely stay here again. Maybe just need a new Mattress.

Guy did a great job. Food was great . Real clean. Friendly atmosphere . Would differently come back. Thank you for having so many food options . One of best breakfasts we have had At a hotel in North Dakota We go to a lot of hotels all over. You can see they put effort in to making it amazing

Great breakfast and very helpful friendly staff. I will be staying again. Enjoyed the experience. The pool is salt water so there is smell of chlorine except for the hot tub.

There are plenty of hotels/motels in the Minot, ND area. Depending upon what part of the city you would want to stay in, this is a very good choice in the south Minot area. The facility is large. The rooms are large. Breakfast area offers multiple food items to choose from. Your party should find something to eat. Quite area.

Best bang for your buck in Minot. Great location , easy access to dining …. And the best breakfast room in town. Honestly , we have been a lot of places and nothing compares to this breakfast. Don't look any further, you won't be disappointed. Book the Best Western Sure Stay. Revel

This hotel sends out a pre check in link to your phone to speed among the process. I liked this feature. It asks you what time you will arrive to which I answered 1pm. When I arrived at 130 pm. I was told checkin was at 3pm. Why have an option to put when you will arrive if you aren't allowing guests to check in at that time? So I asked if they could push my room up on the list since I had a party planned at a specific time. He said he cannot pressure the housekeepers but I could wait for a text by the pool. I waited until 2:45 watching people around me show up to their rooms already done. I went back to ask and he said another ten minutes. When he finally let me in my room, it was as across the pool area from what I had requested (I asked to be near the gazebo so I could decorate it) instead I was placed across the pool area with no tables nearby. He didn't offer to move me when I told him about this. I instead had to use two tables in front of someone else's room because there was no room to move any over to my area. The unkind front desk man then came over to tell me to move all of my party decor I had set up to the gazebo across the pool (our food was in our room) I had to argue with him that I wasn't moving because we were there first and they could have moved me rooms to begin with because that's what I wanted. After that we discovered our toilet would not flush. We had maintenance called 4 times and still didn't fix the issue. We had to come to the lobby to use the bathroom. When I complained this morning (again) she offered me a 10% refund which amounted to $35 . For a room with a non working toilet! I'll never go here again! Staff was so unfriendly and unaccompanied the entire time. It also doesn't look at all like the photos.

What a nice hotel! To be honest, it's always kind of difficult to book a hotel sight unseen and trying to decide which reviews to believe…but this place was great! Clean, has a cute little bar to grab a beer or two. Didn't use the pool or hot tub, but it looked nice. Breakfast selection was perfect too. They had an “oatmeal and yogurt bar” with about 15 different toppings which was a nice addition to the usual eggs and pancake station. Room was clean too. Will definitely return!

It was a good stay, the rooms were clean and cozy, I was very happy to see a boy removing the sheets from the beds, this makes me make sure that the sheets are changed after check out, I've already stayed in other hotels that the bed was dirty, but when I saw this here, I was sure that the hotel cares about the hygiene standards. The gentleman who prepares and serves breakfast made our stay an exceptional experience. He goes above and beyond to make guests feel like royalty. It was a very busy weekend at the hotel, but the staff were available and responsive at all times.

Everything perfect, I will stay here again, breakfast with plenty of options, comfortable beds, shower with good pressure and hot. common areas, clean, just the furniture that needs updating and a bigger TV would be good. Other than that, the experience was good.

Although I was there by myself,it seems like a very good place for families with children. The staff were very friendly especially A young person named "Kid". Having said that, The cleanliness of the room needs to be worked on. The breakfast was plentiful however it was cold

Room was good and the staff was pleasant and helpful. the room was good and looked to be cleaned. We found blood on the bathroom wall that was dried up and some chocolate stains in the room wall. We also had to call housekeeping for them to refill the shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. overall, 2/5 for me.

The hotel is a little older but the rooms are great, clean, and the breakfast is awesome!!! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The suites are amazing! Ours had a full kitchen, which I love as I do not like to eat out. This is our go to in Minot.

Clean, quiet hotel. Many fresh hot/cold breakfast items. Largest toppings for waffles/oatmeal I have ever seen. Family friendly pool with low depth, lots of pool seating and balcony for observation. Was able to upgrade to a room w/ kitchen and oven. Laundry available. All around caring, helpful, professional staff including Manny. Walking distance to Target, mall and some restaurants. Would stay again and recommend.

This was a pleasant surprise in so many ways. I was born and raised in Minot and have seen this establishment in its evolution. This will now be my go-to when in town The staff and hospitality was exceptional. Margaret working reception was the best experience I've had in Minot for a long while. Manny working the breakfast area put out the best hotel breakfast spread I've seen in just as long. Again, I'm definitely coming back. It was the perfect location and accommodations for my needs. The price was very competitive. Only reason I didn't give it five stars is some of the materials and furnishings (tubs/shower fixtures) need to be refreshed. But, it was safe, comfortable, and well staffed.

We have been staying at this hotel for 30 years and the present management is working hard to make it a good experience! The room was clean and comfortable with beautiful updates. Special thanks to Marcel, Laekynn and Manny for going out of their way to make our stay memorable. Hopefully we will be back soon!

The hotel is older but our rooms were clean and in fine condition. I cannot say enough good things about the staff, they were incredible! We had meetings there and between Ashley, Manny and Lakeynn they made sure all of our needs were met and were incredibly accommodating from the planning stages all the way through the entire stay.

Cute hotel, super clean rooms. We were blown away by Manny in guest services. He was just super friendly, helpful, and supportive throughout our stay. We're definitely coming back just because of him :))

Stayed here while in town with family. Excellent location, short walk to the mall and restaurants. Overall check in was smooth, front desk staff was friendly. No elevator, room was located on the 2nd floor. Stairwell area (door C) had an awful smell so when we left and returned we ended up parking at the front and walking through the lobby. Room was not overly big and a little dated. Seemed clean enough so no issues there. Had a microwave and fridge. Pool area was fairly large with a kids pool on one side and deeper part on the other, along with a hot tub. Breakfast area was fine, food was okay. Overall not a bad hotel but a little dated. Could use some TLC for sure.

I am writing a review about Manny Castro. He is very nice and helpful. It is difficult sometimes because he doesn't speak a lot of English, but I do enjoy interacting with him. He is understanding when you need help with anything. I enjoyed my stay.

Manny the chef was awesome! Pool area was excellent. Would stay again! The beds were definitely nice. Lobby felt updated and had a nice seating area. Definitely was a great experience For the price! Looking forward to our next night!

Nice kick back place with a marvelous breakfast that a man named Manny prepares with real ingredients ..yogurt bar oat meal.. 2%milk , chocolate milk.. pop tarts. Fruits muffins. Juices. And a smile. Manny great. The manager is on site and has real brought this revel inn to another level. I'm enjoying my long term stay in a fully equipped kitchen patio naturally lighting amd good people. Cops where here twice but both times very discreetly handled , I've seen pool party's, meetings and let me add many Canadians .I have a solid 8 out of 10 and recommended checking out the Revel

We arrived late in the evening and Manny provided the best service. He was so kind and helpful. A lot of times late night service is subpar but Manny went over and above to make our experience warm and welcoming.

Friendly staff, never been to a motel with a bar and indoor pool, highly recommend it. Rooms are clean with plenty of towels and nice bedding. Many stores nearby with amenities to add to my visit, working in town so staying here for a few weeks helps with the working away from home.

This hotel was recently taken over by Best Western and was in poor condition. We didn't even have a smoke detector in our room - just exposed wires hanging out of the wall. Our room had a door to outside, and it had a huge gap - probably 3/4 inch on one side. The exit door to the interior hall was in rough shape. The layout of the main lobby is goofy; it's a bar. To get to any of the rooms, you need to walk through the pool area. If this was my first stay in a Best Western, it'd also be my last.

We are staying here for for my travel contract. First Chef Manny always has breakfast, hot and ready! It's always so delicious. He's always very meticulous about keeping the tables, clean and dishes put away and stocked. He's so attentive, he noticed us bringing our 18-month-old daughter in every morning and now when he sees us, he cleans out the high chair and said sit at a table for us. We are staying in the king suite and I love that it has a full-size refrigerator and full-size stove. Only thing I would change is that the bedroom does not have AC it's only in the living area, So when you close the bedroom door it gets hot in the bedroom. All the staff of been super nice and attended to all of our needs.

We had many issues - no hot water when needed, bra left in tv stand, drain didn't work (although they did come fix), deadbolt had to be replaced cuz it was loose (with about 10 other screw holes in the door) and smoke smell outside of our room. The carpet was pretty dirty too.

When we first got the room it was clean but there was pieces of red plastic chunks in the bed and ground, but manny during breakfast was very nice and made very good food and had good services and pool is very nice!

Manny was super sweet and helpful when we needed. Our stay was great! The pool had just been cleaned and we had a great time swimming. The place was pretty clean and so many places to hangout! Super close to the mall and stores too.

Have stayed at this hotel many times over the years. We like the close proximity to the mall. It's not a luxury hotel and is somewhat dated. They were cleaning and repainting the pool lap on our checkout day. We could hear the folks next doors TV but they shut it off early. Front desk gal was very helpful. Check in and out was a breeze. Will definately stay again as we spend little time in the room. Bed was comfortable, Air conditioning was great. Breakfast was just OK but the area was clean. We paid $59. A night, so got good value.

Manny is the best and he makes some good food and the hotel room are nice everyone is very nice and they all do there jobs very well So if you're in Minot if you're in Minot North Dakota to come stay at the revel hotel everybody are so kind the hot tub is awesome the pool is awesome the room is awesome housekeeping does a good job

Loved that the room had direct access to outside. Back the car up to the door to load/ unload. Room had another door to hallway. Although I didn't use the pool, I walked around the pool room reading all the music nostalgia. Courtyard setup for pool is great. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Upon arrival, all was good, Joy was friendly and accommodating, no complaints on swimming pool orbeds. Door leading to pool barely opened, it was so old and terribly heaven to move. We had our Xmas dinner on the pool deck and enjoyed our visit, after speaking with other guest and other hotel staff there seemed to be some serious miscommunication with management/owners and they have been extremely hard to reach since our stay, we booked for $120 for 2 rooms, 1 night, online booking. After we checked out we were charged $164.99 per room, $200 over our online booking rate, unacceptable and has yet to be acknowledged or resolved. I have spoken with hotel staff who seem to be afraid to speak of any topic due to management authority and I was given Joys direct # by the owner out of state, she responded once and asked for me to text me name and date of stay for her to check into and she has yet to respond. I have reached out at least 5 more times since our first contact and still nothing. This is extremely unfortunate and unprofessional, for someone who says she has opened several hotels across the country, she has poor customer service skills and has made many mistakes, I know there's a group that books 17 rooms every other year and are not planning to ever return, I tried to even talk them out of it before getting screwed over myself. Please make this right, for the future of your business. We wanted to come back, because our kids loved the pool, but I refuse to do business with someone who can't right their wrongs, much less give any explanation.

Unless things change, this is not a good hotel to stay at. Overall, it's dirty and needs major updating. Specifically, the room still had debris from the previous people the mirror was filthy, and the bathroom didn't have all the towels. It looked like someone had tried to clean, but gave up. Needless to say, we were hesitant to sleep there so didn't stay.

I have been trying to call this hotel for 3 days and their phone line is not working. How am I to change or cancel a reservation???? How does a Hotel stay in business if their land line does not work?

Hotel needs a good cleaning. Carpet not cleaned thoroughly in our room, hair stuck on bathtub, front check in area could be cleaner too. Staff friendly. One gentleman kind of grumpy.,made some reference to being early to check in. Later he walked around front desk with an unlit cigarette hanging from his mouth, tacky! Okay, two star hotel.

This is a budget friendly hotel with somewhat clean rooms that are kind of updated. Very old building that's been half ways remodeled but overall looks very run down. The staff was friendly and helpful so that's worth something, and they have pet friendly rooms. Part of the reason for my poor rating is that, given this property had 4 stars on trip advisor, it was very disappointing overall. The room was fairly clean (if you consider sunflower seeds and fruit loops on the floor clean). Even for the price ($80), it doesn't warrant more than two stars. It's just too old and run down. It would need a major facelift to be four star worthy.

Arrived at check in on time, 3:00 pm. Waited an hour in line only to be given a room that was already occupied. Was told they did not have a room ready but that we would receive a text message when it was available. Did not receive a text. Returned to the hotel hours later, waited another hour and was finally given a key at midnight, 9 hours after check in time. Room was under construction. Had no toilet paper, no tissue, no tv, plaster all over, not even a trash can. Basically just a bed with zero amenities. Called the front desk for toilet paper. It never came. Luckily had some tissue in my purse. No one at the front desk at 9:00 am when checking out. Paid 275.00 for a room that was not ready to be occupied and no one has returned my calls or emails in regards to this. Worst stay ever.

Room was very clean. The pool was very well maintained. I know it's because of covid, but I did wish there was a breakfast available. The location was perfect. The staff was super helpful and nice. I'd recommend this place to anyone

Enjoyed our stay here for new years eve. Our sofa bed could be replaced because you can feel all the springs bad and was dirty. Breakfast they serve is great. Lots of options. Pool size is great for kids. We would stay again but get the two beds next time.

We enjoyed our visit to most areas of Minot, but sadly not the Kelly Inn. Staff was less then friendly, pool area was crazy noisy with no supervision. We stayed on the second floor and while walking to the room, my husband got hit with a ball some kid kicked from the pool area a floor below. It was ridiculous. Our room key had issues as well. Once we settled in for the night, we were woken at around 4 am by the alarm in the room behind us( which backed our bed through the wall). It went on for an hour. My husband called the front desk staff. They finally sent someone to deal with it, but sure enough, we just got back to sleep and it went off again! Called front desk again and this time they unplugged it. We opted to sleep in and be hours late for our trip the next day as nobody got any sleep during the night. The Breakfast offered with the stay was inedible! Orange juice should be orange and not brown!?! We Mentioned the alarm to the front desk on the way out and how we didn't get any sleep. Clerk offered to adjust our rate and email us our receipt. Not only did she NOT adjust our rate at all, but no receipt was emailed as promised. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There has to be better places in Minot....anything must be better!

My family and i were stuck in minot during a snow storm. We booked a couple rooms with kelly inn, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and ready for us. They have a wonderful salt water pool and hot tub. Breakfast was filling and abundent. They provided us a list of stores and hours for black friday shopping and extended our stay with no difficulties. Again thank you to the kelly inn staff you're doing great.
