"IT'S FINE, BUT WITHOUT A WOW"
swissmountainman, 25 Septembre 2024

Ness Walk is absolutely fine. Its modern, comfortable and the staff on the whole were charming, and on it (although breakfast was a little chaotic) and the food at dinner was very good The welcome and help with the bags set the scene for what you imagined was going to a luxury experience commensurate with a room rate of over £500 per night. And nothing is really wrong its just that there is no wow factor. It feels like there was a big supplier of stuff that a hotel needs from carpets to chairs to light fittings and someone just bought the standard collection that was not going to offend anyone. it's just all a bit bland and around the edges just done on a budget. Where are the Scottish touches and where was the luxury? It feels like it could be the best premier inn or travelodge you have ever stayed in with the added bonus of some attentive staff and a good restaurant. And you would be delighted if that was the experience you had imagined or paid for, but we expected and paid for more. It's fine, but only fine and fine is just not good enough at that end of the market.

"Just because you use luxury description does not mean it so. Watch out."
iamiamgoing, 22 Septembre 2024

Courtyard Marriott masquerading as luxury hotel. I was really disappointed by this property. It mentions luxury several times and promotes itself as such, however when you walk in the door, it's like being at Courtyard Marriott. Rooms are very basic. the so-called deluxe room is like a box and has a weird set up with windows that are kind of on the ceiling They even have an obnoxious priceless if you for things like a shoehorn or the do not disturb sign which I thought was insulting and tacky.. Don't get me started on the portions in the restaurant. I'm not a big eater but when you pay almost $100 for dinner, you would expect more than a 1“ x 3“ piece of halibut. three stars for service because they were really nice. I just was really not happy at this place advertising itself is luxury when it's clearly not

"Beautiful Hotel with modern amenities"
F4889POchristinea, 20 Septembre 2024

What a beautiful hotel! Warm welcome from the staff with a glass of champagne. The grounds and gardens are lovely with a view of the river Ness. The hotel is beautifully decorated, comfortably elegant with a large reception area with fireplace and views. Restaurant and bar area is very attractive and the food is delicious and elevated. The rooms are spacious with a comfortable bed. The shower was fantastic- great water pressure and there is a separate tub. Cozy robes and a nice view out to the garden. We were so comfortable and every staff member we encountered was welcoming, friendly, and engaging. Highly recommend!

"Lovely Hotel on The River Ness"
Linda P, 19 Septembre 2024

A wonderful hotel with exceptional staff!!! Arrival was perfection, escorted to the lounge/lobby area and offered a glass of prosecco while we waited to be checked in. A relaxed way to begin our stay. No need to go to the desk for check in they come to you!!!! Once checked in we were given all information regarding our stay and shown to our room. WOW is all I can say, we had floor to ceiling windows looking directly out to the River Ness, beautiful view. Only issue would be if people were sitting outside in the courtyard they would be able to see in our room unless we closed the curtains. Lucky for us the courtyard wasn't used much during our stay because of weather. The room was spotless, we liked the separation of the toilet in one room and the shower in the other. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and we got a fabulous nights rest. Location is spot on, walkable to where you need to go, 10-15 minutes. So you are right there but feel so secluded. And one evening it was raining and we had dinner reservations and did not want to walk so they drove us in the courtesy car, a nice touch. And a huge shout out to the nice young lady (wish I got her name) who one day when we arrived back and it was pouring out miraculously appeared by the cars side door with an umbrella to usher me into the hotel, 5 star service. My only shortcoming for me was the breakfast, nice but I wouldn't say over the top for the standard of hotel this is. Loved our stay and would definitely return!!!!

"Wonderful Stay in Inverness"
nishan22_77, 15 Septembre 2024

We had the pleasure of staying for three days at the Ness Walk Hotel. The hotel is situated right next to the River Ness and many of the rooms have lovely views of the grounds and the river in the background. The hotel has an iron gate that limits traffic into the property and also has limited parking spaces. We had called ahead to reserve and pay for a spot for our stay. Once we arrived at the gate, we were immediately ushered into the grounds and met at our car by the wonderful front staff. The check-in was completed in the comfort of the hotel living room while we were provided with complementary champagne and water. The staff explained all of the amenities at the hotel and escorted us to our rooms. The living room / lounge was a quiet tranquil place to rest or enjoy a drink. The hotel's main restaurant, Torrisi, is a destination in itself for those in Inverness and others very high quality, fashionable meals. The bar is a wonderful place to get a drink at the end of the day. High quality cocktails and great service. The location was a major plus for us. Outside of the city center of Inverness, but a short 15-20 minute walk away along the riverwalk. The walk is absolutely beautiful. We did this walk multiple times a day during our stay and it never got old. The rooms themselves are really very nice. Very spacious, big comfortable beds, functional desks, large closets, tea / coffee facilities, and split bathrooms – toilet in one room (with a separate sink) and then a dual sinked room with a tub and standing shower. Very well thought out and very nice. The rooms really did tie into the décor of the hotel and the river location. We found the front desk staff to be extremely helpful. They provided fantastic recommendations for dinner, nearby sights, how to plan our day, where to eat, what distilleries to visit. Super friendly, genuinely concerned for our well-being and very polite. It really felt like they wanted guests to be happy. We didn't have a formal dinner in Torrisi, but did have breakfast each morning. There is a buffet in the bar area and then dishes could be ordered from a menu. Unfortunately, it felt like the staff was overwhelmed each morning and we often waited 15-20 minutes for tea / coffee or even the chance to order. There were several days where the buffet was empty of items and it often took 15 minutes to replenish items. I think this was probably the weakest part of our stay. Additionally, there is no onsite gym or pool. The hotel has a sister property that is 20 minutes away, but I don't know anyone that really wants to drive 20 minutes to use a gym. It seems like they could convert one guest room into a small gym facility and fill was a few machines / equipment. I think at this price point that would be warranted. All in all, we did really enjoy our stay at the Ness Walk Hotel and would gladly go back.

"Beauty and gracious hospitality"
Connie B, 07 Septembre 2024

This hotel is quietly and graciously amazing. The location alone, right on the River Ness, ranks it as one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. But it was the staff, especially Monica, also Mr. Hales, who showed me such a warm welcome. We arrived late in the day and without a needed second room for our party. Monica not only made the room happen but got us into the restaurant for dinner at the last minute. She showed an incredible combination of professionalism and compassion. We hugged upon our departure!

"Lovely hotel in a great location…"
Sootie2002, 03 Septembre 2024

Lovely hotel in a great location, and with great views over the river. Beautiful understated decor as you take a seat in the lounge to check in. Check in happens sat on a comfy sofa in front of the fire enjoying a complimentary glass of champagne. A warm welcoming bar is a really important part of any stay, and this one certainly hits the mark with a great whisky selection and the BEST Decaf Espresso Martini!! This review would not be complete without a HUGE shout out to Hannah & Scott at the bar - what a warm welcome, great service and a pleasure to spend the evening chatting with - what great assets you both are to this hotel!! We used the hotel's car service for airport transfers - Lovely luxurious car and both drivers were just wonderful; on the way in we had a short trip through the city to point out places of interest. We did experience a couple of small niggles, the tea tray and mini-bar not being replenished (we stayed for 3 nights, no not just a one time oversight) - its not good if you have to phone down on day 3 and ask for tea bags; and then our final morning at breakfast, having to find a team member to ask for a second coffee, which 15 minutes later had not arrived, in fact it never arrived, and we did give up. Food is great and good value for money. We would definitely come back, and would thoroughly recommend.

"Ness Walk Hotel, Inverness, Scotland"
edflank, 02 Septembre 2024

The Ness Walk Hotel is a wonderful place to stay. It is very quiet and has friendly, helpful employees. It's close to town and a nice walking path right outside the hotel. The breakfast is very good with lots of fresh fruit. We would definitely stay here again if we ever get back to Inverness.

"Great Hotel"
awolford128, 01 Septembre 2024

We stayed at the Ness Walk Hotel for three nights of our ten-day vacation to Scotland. This is a newer hotel with all the amenities you may need. The service was stellar. We were greeted with champagne and wine upon arrival. The breakfast in the mornings had any option you may want. We ate dinner at the Torrish restaurant on the property, which had a great meal and amazing recommendations from the sommelier. We would definitely return if in the Inverness area.

"There is no other like Ness Walk!"
sophiemclean0609, 31 Août 2024

Our place of choice as there is no other like it in the the north of Scotland! Ness Walk exudes sophistication from the moment you walk in. We live up north but this hotel is our go to whenever we are looking for a break. We indulged ourselves today for their Heavenly Afternoon Tea. The food is simply superb, the service exemplary and very personalised, the ambiance tasteful- a perfect combination. What makes this place extra special to us is you are made to feel that extra bit special every time you return by Kevin & his team! Looking for a perfect place to eat, dine and stay at- Ness Walk is it.

"Lots of thoughtful touches!"
Hope F, 29 Août 2024

Lovely champagne reception, excellent restaurant and lots of thoughtful touches: extra toiletries, turn down service with chocolates, the hottest showers we've encountered in Scotland and -- very important-- a complimentary shoe drying service.

"Perfect stay in a beautiful setting on the River Ness"
FlwerGirl, 22 Août 2024

The staff were extremely gracious and accommodating. They quickly problem solved a little preference issue we had with our first room and had us in a beautiful new room with no stress at all. The rooms were comfortable and immaculate. Beautiful breakfast each day served for a long serving time to accommodate early departures and late sleepers. We walked to dinner each night along the river, beautiful stay.

"A trip to experience Scottish golf"
Don M, 20 Août 2024

Beautiful hotel and grounds on the river Ness with friendly and professional staff. At check in and orientation, you are invited to the sitting room and offered a glass of champagne. There is continental breakfast available daily in the bar area and also a dining room for ordering breakfast. Reservations for dinner can be made for the dining room. All of the food was excellent with a variety of selections. The rooms were clean, nicely decorated with very comfortable beds and pillows. Room had easily adjustable thermostats. Turn down service at night offered with a homemade caramel from their kitchen left on each pillow. Hotel is within walking distance of Inverness or a lovely walk along the river Ness. Golfers were able to play links golf at Castle Stuart Golf Links and Royal Dornoch. The Scottish Highlands are beautiful

"Mediocre Room & Service for an Over-priced Stay"
bpresnell, 12 Août 2024

Overall: The hotel was more an above average 4 star than 5 star rated hotel. I'm rating it 3/5 only because of the front desk staff. Otherwise I would have rated 2/5. Rooms/Facility: Everything was very average to slightly above when it comes to room, facilities, etc. The beddings, furniture, etc. felt more like a corporate chain than specific to this hotel, location, etc. Shower was a bit tight for a "Deluxe" room - made me wonder why the bathroom was mostly devoted to a bath tub. Front Desk Staff: The hotel staff excelled at accommodating guests at check-in or guest support in-stay. However, that soon fell flat when using facilities like the bar/lounge. Bar/Lounge: The staff here seemed less than motivated to take a drink order. After 10m waiting, I approached the bar (literally 3 feet away) and asked if I should order at the bar or wait for a server. I was told to wait - and I sure did.. 15m more later - no drinks, no order, no service. They even served other folks who went up to the bar before us. It felt downright discriminatory. One of the staff at the bar appeared annoyed and displeased with her job. Location: Perfectly situated along the river with a quick and scenic walk into town. Amenities: Same bath amenities as the bed & breakfast we stayed at two nights before - not exactly "5 star" quality.

"Service excellence"
Alan K, 05 Août 2024

The rooms are beautiful. What I really want to commend is the staff of the hotel. My wife and I were on a group tour. Unfortunately, she became ill and the staff leapt into action. Not only did the sales manager drive us to the emergency room, but they were fully prepared to meet our needs when we returned to the hotel. They provided our dinner well after our group had finished. The staff also was able to provide us with a room for an extra night and assured our transportation to the airport the next morning. Every one of our requests was met with a smile and immediate action. Thank you so much for all your help.

"We will return on our next trip…it is that good!"
Futbal_traveler, 01 Août 2024

Amazing little hotel in Inverness! The staff goes out of their way to accommodate anyone's needs. We cherished our time spent here and in Inverness! It's a perfect quiet hotel in a quiet area within walking distance of the Inverness city center area.

"Wonderful 5 star luxury property"
Lallum35, 29 Juillet 2024

Wonderful property, perfect location a mere 5 minutes walk to the city centre, but closed and secluded when you want to come back and rest. We only stayed one night, but it lived to the five star category. Breakfast was amazing, front desk was helpful at all times (even when we over-ordered sandwiches and provided us with bags so we could enjoy them on the way). There was a small terrace looking to the garden, beds were comfortable and all in all, I would strongly recommend that you book this property for a lovely stay at Inverness. The price was not low (500 GBP plus) but so worth it. If I can, I will stay there again when I return to Inverness. Very convenient private car park inside the property.

"Wonderful two night experience"
Carole G, 27 Juillet 2024

We had a wonderful experience at the Ness Walk Hotel, from our first impression of the beautiful grounds and gardens to receiving a warm welcome from staff at check ins. Rooms are newly renovated and are large and comfortable. Small touches like the chocolate fudge left on your pillow make the experience special. Breakfasts, with fresh roses on the table were perfect as well. Highly recommend this hotel!

"Afternoon Tea"
Helen W, 26 Juillet 2024

Just had a fabulous afternoon tea for the 2nd time at Ness Walk Inverness On arrival we were met by two lovely members of staff The setting is sublime beautiful interior, first class service and food was amazing Definitely worth a visit or two

"Stay in quiet, friendly elegance on the banks of the River Ness"
Frank L, 18 Juillet 2024

I would definitely stay here again. Directly on the banks of River Ness—short walk along the river takes you to the primary eating, shopping areas, as well as rail and bus travel. Hotel offers first rate service and staff. Monica at the desk had a quick answer for everything I needed. Ate dinner at Torrish (the hotel restaurant)—very enjoyable. Room was modern, perfectly maintained, very quiet and comfortable. Very good value for room price.

"Wonderful Scottish hospitality"
RachelD146, 16 Juillet 2024

Such a warm welcome, the staff at Ness Walk really know how to make your stay special. Beautifully appointed rooms, with a spacious bathroom and separate toilet. The views to the courtyard were lovely, and it's just a short stroll across the bridge to the Ness Islands, and into Inverness itself. Breakfast was delicious and served in a room with a lovely outlook over the gardens. I highly recommend this hotel!

"Highly recommended restaurant "
D4643TPmarief, 16 Juillet 2024

Excellent service, location, and food. Close to the river in Inverness. Nice to walk from and to. comfortable facilities, rooms are a bit small, suites under the roof are pleasant, spacious, and full of light. Dîner is amazing in quality, beautifully presented, and service is good sometimes a bit slow.

"Excellent experience"
Ewen M, 15 Juillet 2024

Greeted by very welcoming staff who showed us to our table. High tea was excellent with a wide range of loose leaf tea options all served in very beautiful riverside surroundings. My guests loved the overall experience and I will be back soon.

"Wonderful Experience"
Kathy J, 13 Juillet 2024

The hotel is very pretty, our room was lovely and the staff were such a pleasure to interact with. The location is the best. We were able to walk everywhere and it is really nice to walk along the Ness River. Close to city center and a whole host of really great restaurants. I will definitely stay here again when we come back to Inverness.

"Overnight stay at the Ness Walk"
rgonzaleztoro, 01 Juillet 2024

Although we stayed for only one night, we loved this hotel. Staff was friendly, accomodating and made our stay extremely pleasant. Dinner at Torrish was wonderful. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Everything positive, everything perfect.

"A perfect place to rest your weary head."
LizLaurel, 23 Juin 2024

A beautiful setting and a warm and welcoming staff make Ness Walk a real gem. The place is very quiet and our room was very comfortable. Staff was very attentive from the moment we arrived. Location is perfect: it's a very easy walk along the beautiful River Ness to the center to the city where there are many wonderful restaurants. Of course, Ness Walk has its own restaurant, and the food was magnificent. Well-prepared and very creative. Pace of the meal was just right. You can get a cooked breakfast but to be honest the buffet continental breakfast was substantial. We would definitely return, and we highly recommend.

"INCREDIBLE - The staff make this hotel world class"
m_morgan02, 21 Juin 2024

Incredible hotel and staff!! I was truly blown away from the moment we arrived. We came up to Inverness on the sleeper train from London, so arrived fairly early but were still warmly welcomed by the staff. The reception and lounge are is so warm and inviting I could have sat there with the views all day. Throughout our trip nothing was too much for the staff, we only spent 2 nights but we're made to feel truly at home. A massive thanks to Steven, Tracey and Marcus for all your help and fabulous customer service. You're an asset to Ness walk along with your colleagues. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, which was varied and plentiful. We spontaneously had afternoon tea on our last day, which was absolute delicious, I'd highly recommend it. Location of the hotel is perfect for exploring inverness and located in a beautiful area. Would happily return to Ness Walk and so glad I picked it for my Mums birthday trip.

"Afternoon tea for three"
Strathpeffergirl, 18 Juin 2024

We used a birthday voucher for 3 to book. On arrival the booking was for 2. The hotel staff set up a new table, better placed to enjoy river views. Set menu for food with hot drinks selection. Hotel was very accommodating of a nut allergy. The food came, we had to ask for our drinks order to be taken and again for water on the table, only poured by your server. Handmade patisserie cakes, dainty sandwich, sausage rolls. The hotel's high standard is reflected in the entrance, concierge service for parking.

"Visit for High Tea"
H M, 18 Juin 2024

The grounds, building, and it's interior are all absolutely beautiful. The grounds are so well maintained. The staff were all pleasant. The high tea was delicious and everything tasted fresh. My only criticism was that the food was brought out before we were asked what hot drink we wanted, and then we had to wait with the food in front of us for the drinks to be made as they were forgotten. Everything else was at a high standard and will definitely be back at some point.

"Unforgettable"
afarin16, 09 Juin 2024

Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of spectacular and all of that was due to the amazing staff specially Monica at the reception. She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. She had a lovely welcoming attitude towards all her guests. She booked us a restaurant for dinner that was great. All and all a memorable experience and we would definitely come back and recommend this place to friends.

"Wonderful!"
Sharon C, 03 Juin 2024

A top rate hotel just 15 min walk from centre, but in a lovely tranquil setting along the Ness river. The staff at reception (Monica, Craig, Tracy, Marcus) went out of their way to assist me with a reservation issue which made my travel experience wonderful and stress-free. Not to mention the glass of champagne on arrival. Worth every penny!

"The New Fave Hotel in Inverness"
Travelathon, 01 Juin 2024

I am fortunate enough to get to stay at 4 and 5 star hotels when I travel, and was unsure of what exactly to expect of this 5 star hotel-wise in Inverness. I found myself totally enchanted with the Ness Walk hotel and feel so grateful to the friends who recommended it to me. First and foremost, the staff were delightful. Eager to accommodate and very professional, they knew how to welcome a weary travel who'd just spent 24 hours in transit to get to them. They seated me in the lounge, offered me refreshments, got all the necessary info and then escorted me to my room. The rooms are comfortable and have all the provisions you'd hope for. Though not luxurious, per se, my had a coziness to it and a lovely view of trees and the nearby park. The windows are huge giving you a sense of grandeur, and they even open so I could let in the Highland sunshine and birdsong. Room service was lightning fast and the food far exceeded expectations, especially for a vegetarian vacationing in game-country. Forget your transformer? No problem. They have a big basket of electronic supplies and heartily helped me sort through them to get exactly what I needed. As I was touring each day, the restaurant happily accommodated me with a delish breakfast to go. And I have to say, the beautiful gold espresso machine in the bar area makes the perfect cup of coffee. The setting is lovely, and if you're a walker, you're right there near the river walk and can walk for miles along the tree lined pathway. There's a park right across the street from the hotel, and in fact it feels like you're in the park itself as you first drive up to the hotel. And everything inside the hotel's lobby and restaurant are perfectly appointed in an understated, Highlands sort of way. A special shout out to Steven, the hotel's manager. He set the bar high with his exceptional level of service, starting even before I arrived. He helped with transport arrangements and tour guide info (He recommended the absolute best in Andrew MacDonald), and could often be found in the hotel lobby, very personably interacting with hotel guests and staff. His interest seemed quite genuine and that added to the enveloping feeling of hospitality that Ness Walk is so good at. The staff all seemed very happy to be there doing their jobs and were all quite competent and friendly.  And at the end day, that makes all the difference between a vacation and a memorable life experience.

"Lovely upscale hotel"
Pamela S, 31 Mai 2024

Excellent upscale hotel. We stayed there both before and at the end of a Highlands hiking trip and enjoyed the hotel both times. We had ground floor rooms both times ….stylish and comfortable with a small outdoor patio with seating. The rooms were quiet and also had air conditioning (a luxury in a Scottish hotel!). We ate dinner one night at the hotel restaurant and it was very good. Breakfasts also good with a fruit/yogurt/pastry buffet and hot items cooked to order. The staff were uniformly attentive, helpful and friendly. Great job to whoever hires and trains. Nice touch with the champagne welcome. Location also great …on the river and out of the main part of town so quiet …but walkable to the center of town. Great choice if you're planning a visit to Inverness.

"Amazing afternoon tea with champagne"
Aimee C, 26 Mai 2024

Myswlf and husband visited ness walk after we received an afternoon tea voucher as a wedding gift. Lovely afternoon tea with champagne. Staff super friendly / helpful. Food was amazing and great selection 10/10. Lovely clean and modern hotel and somewhere we will definitely visit again. Thank you

"Fantastic experience!"
Hepcat62, 25 Mai 2024

Fantastic all around experience, the service was amazing. We were graciously welcomed by reception, our luggage was whisked away to our room, and we were ushered to a comfortable seating area and given a glass of champagne. The room was beautiful, immaculate, and comfortable. The food was outstanding, we ate in the restaurant both nights we were there, and also enjoyed the very generous breakfast each morning. This was a truly 5 star experience, every staff member did a fabulous job making our visit special.

"The finest staff!!!"
Laurie M, 24 Mai 2024

For me, the most important aspect of a fine hotel is its staff… its heart and soul. Ness Walk is stunning and beautiful but it's the people that made my stay! Monica at the front desk went far above and beyond to make my visit memorable! I was so impressed by her kindness and professionalism (as well as her spectacular soup making ability!). Because of her and her warmth I fully intend to return and recommend that others come as well!

"Fantastic experience all round"
Diana B, 19 Mai 2024

Ness Walk is a fantastic hotel. It was the accommodation highlight of our Scottish road trip. The staff are brilliant from the moment you arrive. They really make the hotel what it is. The greeting and check-in process are very smooth (yay! to the glass of champagne). There was a large golfing group and also a large group of vintage car enthusiasts (with their cars) when we stayed but the hotel never felt too crowded and the staff were not flustered by anything. The rooms are also lovely, as was our dinner in the restaurant. It's within walking distance to everywhere you would want to go in the town of Inverness. 5 stars for sure!

"A beautiful hotel in Inverness"
Elaine B, 15 Mai 2024

Ness Walk is a beautiful hotel with excellent customer service. The hotel is located on the banks of a river, with a walking path that allows customers to walk to town, which is only a few minutes away. The walking path that leads to a small island where they can sit and relax, or walk around. Customers are pampered from the moment they enter, with an offer of a glass of champagne to celebrate the arrival. The staff is extremely friendly and makes sure that customers are aware that they are there to provide them with a great experience. The hotel restaurant is beautiful and serves an elegant meal. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

"Heartfelt thanks"
Karen M, 10 Mai 2024

This is a heartfelt thank you to your concierge Mark who ensured a couple from Australia had the most wonderful time in Inverness in early June 2023. He is a gentleman who from moment one to chasing us to say goodbye as we left the driveway made us feel so warmly welcome. Please thank Mark. We will be back.

"Bliss in Inverness"
teeitupbarrington, 07 Mai 2024

The sign on the gate says it all…welcome! The bellman greeted us, and said he would take care of our luggage. Upon entering the hotel, we were directed to have a seat in the morning room, where we were offered a glass of bubbly. Very civilized! Registration forms were brought to us, while we relaxed. Once taken to our room we found clean, crisp everything, in a well appointed bath and sleeping area. The separate toilet room was convenient for two people getting ready for the day or evening out on the town. Breakfast, which was included, offered a generous selection of buffet items as well as made to order eggs and such. Servers were knowledgeable and friendly. Our driver indicated that Ness Walk is the nicest property in Inverness, and we couldn't agree more.

"Fabulous Ness Walk Hotel"
jennifersM8268VE, 04 Mai 2024

Fabulous accommodation in Inverness My husband and I recently enjoyed the wonderful hospitality at Ness Walk. A warm welcome was provided with a complimentary glass of champagne. Monica checked us quickly and efficiently; Iain explained the facilities and showed us to our beautiful, spacious room. Steve was helpful on our departure as we experienced a problem with our hire car. We enjoyed dinner in the Restaurant, lovely food (James a delight) also the bar area, very relaxing for a quick meal after a busy day sightseeing! Breakfast offered a good selection of hot and cold offerings. Everything about Ness Walk is of high quality, staff, rooms and the accompanying complimentary tea, coffee, shortbreads, toiletries, linen … all so luxurious. Location is perfect, situated on the Ness River and a short walk into the city centre, parking available upon request (booking required). Special mention to Monica (front of house supervisor) who is an exemplary example of customer service. A very special memory for us … Jenny and Rob, Mt Martha. Vic. Australia

"A very special hotel on the banks of the river Ness"

An absolute gem of a hotel. We have stayed three times in the last few months and each time it's been a very luxurious experience. From the lovely spacious bedrooms with very comfy beds and gorgeous bed linen to the wonderful restaurant, bar and views of the river. But the best thing of all are the staff, a real credit to the management! Everyone without fail was welcoming, kind and helpful. It's a very special place.

"Safe choice for Inverness"
Ryszard W, 17 Avril 2024

Very nice located in the middle of the town, close to the Ness river, with private parking (don't forget to book space in advance). Nice, spacious and quiet rooms. Restaurant provided only set menu for dinner (which was not the best option), and there is limited buffet at breakfast (you have to order dishes rather than selecting them themselves - which is not convenient). Good starting point for visiting Loch Ness area

"Best service I've ever had at a UK hotel"
AnonEeMouse, 10 Avril 2024

This is the best hotel I've ever stayed at in terms of service, excluding the Oberois in India... and even then, Ness Walk comes a close second. Staff were attentive and made you feel incredibly welcome and special. The room was clean, well proportioned and felt luxurious. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spotlessly clean with a bath to relax in and a separate shower which was powerful. The breakfast is the best hotel breakfast we've ever had (and we've had lots). The location was good - easy walk into the centre. Would love to stay there again.

"Top Notch"
S6180HIandrewb, 10 Avril 2024

When the Group Operations Director stands in to provide cover at the Torrish Restaurant when staff requirements dictate it says a lot for how this company performs which could be taken as a benchmark to other 5 star venues in Scotland where if it was suggested that a Director would help in this way I would say that many would be unwilling to adapt ?

"Simply the best"
janeyandgeoffy, 06 Avril 2024

Our 7th stay here at this amazing hotel It's not the cheapest (a review said the drinks were expensive) but you get value for money in the sheer ambience, surroundings, fabulous food and drink, and mostly the amazing staff who create a wonderful relaxed friendly atmosphere. We can't wait till we return !

"Absolutely Fabulous Stay"
Alisa A, 03 Avril 2024

Our first two nights on our Scotland roadtrip began at the Ness Walk. The staff were great, very helpful and the facility was beautiful. Comfy bed, cozy room, you can't ask for more! Breakfast was very delicious and we also ate the first night in the bar area. Great food and the bartender (I think Jules) was super. She started us on our Scottish whisky adventure - many thanks and loved the Tomatin!! Highly recommend and we will be back when we return to the highlands!

"Exceptional"
belles8, 01 Avril 2024

My wife and I spent a wonderful few days at Ness Walk last week. I always feel that the measure of a five star rated hotel is the level of service and its staff and certainly Ness Walk did not disappoint. From Kevin the manager down to the well trained youngest staff all were efficient, well mannered and made us feel very much at home. The quality of food from breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner was exceptional. To be honest we can't wait to make a return visit. Mr &Mrs Alexander Smith

"Wonderful Staff"
Valorie M, 31 Mars 2024

Great experience at Ness walk. Booked for a treat for my friends 60th birthday I've never stayed at a hotel where all the staff are so lovely. From receptionist to concierge to waiters/ress. They all went out of their way to speak to us and made us feel very welcome . They all cared about your stay and couldn't have been nicer. To be honest the room was lovely (we upgraded to terrace room) but nothing special. It was the staff that made it a 5 star experience. Beautiful dinner and nice afternoon tea. Would highly recommend.

"5 star in every way"
Stephen R, 23 Mars 2024

From the moment I arrived to the the moment I left the experience was fantastic. The staff were attentive almost as if they could anticipate my needs before I had asked. The room was great and so comfortable. A very good night sleep was had. The dinner was exceptional. The pre dinner cocktails were delicious. The food and wine perfectly matched and of the highest standards (as good as a recent Glenturret Michelin star experience). The 33yo single malt at the end of dinner was an exceptional treat. The next morning breakfast was wonderful and again the staff were amazing. Will definitely rush back.

"Ness Walk Hotel - Inverness"
Iain K, 21 Mars 2024

Lovely Staff & Location. Restaurant: SMALL PORTIONS & BIG PRICES. £48 cheapest bottle of wine, and portions so small - 2 scallops starter around £18! No steak or beef burger option on the menu either so limited to what Looks Nice but doesn't really leave a feeling of satisfaction. Won't recommend to friends

"Lovely anniversary stay"
mikeysh1969, 19 Mars 2024

Lovely 3 night stay for our anniversary. Perhaps the best welcome/ check-in experience either I or my wife have had. Lovely comfortable room with quality furnishings, linen etc. Breakfast lovely with a huge continental buffet served by friendly professional staff. Slight thing , perhaps beans should be available for the cooked option, my wife did ask but none available. Overall will definitely be back , the employees are a credit to the hotel, professional and friendly without being obtrusive.

"Pamper yourself at Ness Walk. Will not disappoint."
Jan D, 16 Mars 2024

From the minute we arrived until we left we were immersed in elegance. Staff were attentive, helpful, professional. Our room was spotless, nicely appointed, comfy bed, lovely linens. The bath products were scrumptious. Our room was very quiet. So hope to return.

"Beautiful hotel ( with issues)"
Suzyspecs, 16 Mars 2024

I will start by stating it is a Beautiful hotel with welcoming staff, however there are issues to be aware of. We were on the first floor which is a good walk from reception Facilities in the room caused issues: TV - instructions for use not clear ( infact someone had to come and turn it on and give instructions on the use of the 2 controls) Coffee machine - whilst new wouldn't work and had to be replaced Reception / concierge/ room service- rang all three to obtain help with TV - no reply. Eventually got a response from the Restaurant staff ! Breakfast - continental is the best option with plenty of choice. Cooked breakfast comes on burning hot plates which rather suggests it has been there for a while.

"Superb stay"
Ken M, 15 Mars 2024

Went on a short break to visit Inverness. Superb hotel on a lovely setting. Very comfortable room. All staff very helpful and friendly. We had some great trips arranged by the concierge. Breakfast and dinner superb. Nice bar with a large selection.

"Wonderful stay"
BWCinCary, 14 Mars 2024

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, but it is the service that stands out. The staff is so friendly and professional it just makes the whole experience fantastic. We had dinner at Torrish and it was delicious and beautifully presented. The Ness Island walk is very close and a lot of fun. We highly recommend Ness Walk and would absolutely return.

"Best experience at Ness walk"
Sophie J, 11 Mars 2024

Wow. What a wonderful hotel in a beautiful location. From the minute we were greeted at the airport by our chauffeur, who was so friendly and very informative of the area. The warm and very friendly welcoming by all the ness walk staff, the champagne reception was a lovely touch, the beautiful oak room with amazing views of the river ness, the absolutely mouthwatering food at the beautiful torrish hotel, and the delicious afternoon tea. Nothing was too much trouble. 10 out of 10. We were very sad to leave but can't wait to go back.

"Superb theatre break stay."
Z1543TYmarym, 07 Mars 2024

Wow! Definitely a 5 star experience What a lovely stay we had at Ness Walk.We have been lucky enough to stay at quite a few top hotels in Scotland and Ness Walk is up there with the best. From the minute we arrived and were greeted by Concierge "Mark"we were made feel very welcome. The glass of champagne on arrival is a lovely touch! Very impressed by Head concierge "Steve"taking time to acknowledge that this was a second visit by us.The rooms are lovely and spotlessly clean. A lovely idea the welcome back note and sweeties left in room.I really liked the bath and separate shower combination so often missing now as more and more hotels only have showers. The evening meal was superb Friendly ,helpful maitre d' "Kevin" made sure everything was just right.Beakfast was also top class.Staff were all super helpful and friendly.Special mention for receptionists Tracey and Magnus who were efficiently greeting everyone with a happy smile.Would highly recommend a stay here.We will definitely be back !

"Impeccable service quality - outstanding !"
Love2Holidaylots, 04 Mars 2024

From the moment of arrival to a warm welcoming smile at reception, you sense the exceptional focus on the highest quality of customer service at Ness Walk. This is a hotel where staff in every role and at every level will go above and beyond to ensure guests have an amazing experience while in the beauty of the Highlands. You're made to feel very much at home and that nothing is too much trouble, which helps so much with an immediate feeling of relaxation ! Backed up by a wonderful setting, top quality food and drinks, generously sized and beautifully decorated public areas and bedrooms, this hotel is well worth the outlay and represents fantastic value for money and a memorable stay for all the right reasons!

"Fabulous, excellent service and attention to detail"
catrionaw784, 28 Février 2024

We were staying here as part of a family celebration. I cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness, humour and attentiveness. This is a fabulous place to stay beside the river with comfortable rooms and great food. We will absolutely be back.

"Very very disappointing breakfast service"
Elaine B, 27 Février 2024

The service in this hotel is mostly very good with particular mention to housekeeping, concierge and front of house. Rooms are large and well equipped. We stayed for 4 days and our room was right outside the lift and the fire exit so a little noisy! What really let this hotel down was breakfast service and it is for this reason I have given it only 3 stars. On my first day there were no glasses or bowls and we had to search for someone to bring some, the fruit juice then ran out and we had to ask for this to be replenished. I asked the waiter for some brown bread with my smoked salmon and he returned from the kitchen with two slices of white processed bread!! I asked if they had any brown bread and he said no, yet our toast which arrived later was brown bread! My poached eggs on toast arrived as soft boiled eggs. There was no one obvious running the breakfast service and dishes were removed slowly from tables. Second day ordered scrambled egg on toast, scrambled egg arrived without toast and after asking three separate people for toast when it finally arrived the scrambled egg was uneatable . I was asked if I wanted something else but my husband had finished eating much earlier so I declined. Still absence of anyone running the service, I heard someone next to me ask the waiter if they were short staffed their reply was no. Third day still issues with the buffet breakfast no juice, glasses, bowls, small plates. My cooked breakfast arrived whilst I was still eating fruit and yogurt. The waiter said “this plate is hot” and waited for me to lift my bowl. When I did he placed the plate down and walked away leaving me holding a bowl with no space on the table to put it. I had to abandon eating the rest of it and had to get up and find an empty table to place this. The last day which was the Monday in contrast was very good there was someone clearly running breakfast and he managed it well so everything ran smoothly, however given my previous experiences I for went the cooked breakfast! If this hotel really wants to be 5 star it needs to re-evaluate its breakfast service. I could go on to include other concerns but I think this gives a general picture.

"Fantastic Afternoon Tea"
davidaA2476MK, 25 Février 2024

I was so impressed with our visit today. We booked an afternoon tea (direct by telephone). From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel special. The afternoon tea was fantastic - all the staff we spoke with were polite and attentive. The hotel got the little things spot-on. For example - my wife is a wheelchair user, we were allocated a parking space on the hard-standing closest to the entrance as opposed to being on the gravel surface. Well love to return.

"Disappointed"
Sherpa19018142854, 25 Février 2024

My friend and I stayed at your beautiful hotel for one night and would love to come back again. On our arrival the staff were just so friendly and very attentive to us. The concierge took us to our room explaining the dining procedure for breakfast which was most helpful as we found the staff on duty in the morning, not very friendly or attentive at all. We had to request more butter, tea, coffee etc., We also had two guests join us just for breakfast who where not staying at the hotel and were charged £25 per person for a breakfast, which I feel was rather excessive. The difference between arrival staff and breakfast staff lead me to write this review.

"Breathtaking Experience"
Sightsee46788461445, 23 Février 2024

If you're looking for luxury, look no further, Ness walk is the epitome of Highland hospitality at its best from an amazing welcome through to an impeccable property with staff that could not do more for you. This is a truly exceptional experience, the five stars wrap around you, enveloping you in luxury with fine, dining, exceptional wines and a beautiful location. You could not want for more. Guests were mightily impressed, and will no doubt return again as soon as possible, as we will we

"What a fabulous hotel"
Enjoy1969, 19 Février 2024

What a fabulous hotel. A rare find, beautifully appointed, meticulously maintained and with super friendly and helpful staff. Such a refreshing experience. Great location, easy to walk into town and with a lovely view over the river. The food was excellent (breakfast and dinner). Highly recommend this hotel.

"Great stay"
GaryD03, 19 Février 2024

Just returned from Ness Walk Hotel. We travel a lot and this is a 5 star hotel. Clean and well managed. The staff could not be have been more helpful. Everyone says hello and smiles. Well done team great service. Bedroom was clean with good amenities. Could not work out how to use the coffee machine. But no issue. Good WIFI fast and reliable. Room was quiet as we requested. Food was good, tasted freshly made. One comment perhaps a larger menu with some more choices. Gary, the breakfast chef makes the best home made marmalade. Unfortunately they gave us some to bring home but airport security took it. You should bottle and sell it. All in a great experience, stayed for 3 days and could have stayed longer. We will be back.

"5 star in every respect."
scotbon, 15 Février 2024

Absolutely first class hotel. Staff, rooms, restaurant and food are all definitely 5 star. They managed to achieve this while making us feel relaxed and welcomed. It was all the 'little' things and attention to detail that made the visit so wonderful. We'll definitely be back!

"Genuinely outstanding"
Epicureously, 15 Février 2024

Outstanding Good breakfast Great vfm We arrived very early but the reception were brilliant. Got us a drink in the lounge then got one room ready for us. Great start which actually was maintained through our stay. The staff throughout the hotel were incredibly attentive. The hotel is in a lovely riverside location with a terrific ambience throughout. Decor is absolutely on the money. The rooms are of a good size and really well appointed. Hotel is spotless. Great breakfast. I know it was January but I couldn't believe the price was so good for what we got. The best reason to go to Inverness!

"Absolutely fantastic"
Brams123, 14 Février 2024

We decided to try this hotel for Valentines dinner after hearing so many nice things about the place. Glad we decided to go . We were greeted with a lovely welcome and smile at reception and from every member of the staff thereafter. When we entered the restaurant we were met by Kevin the Hotel manager who guided us to our table. The staff are extremely attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was lovely and well presented. We will definitely be returning. Thank you all for a lovely evening.

"Worst honeymoon hotel"
Casie B, 11 Février 2024

Worst hotel of my 2 1/2 week honeymoon. In all 12 5 star hotels I've never before had to pay to park. They served me Cold beef, but never came to see how it was, so I went hungry. Once food is given to the table it seems the staff scattered. Hard to find staff and never made me feel welcomed. Tried the restaurant again for breakfast and was given the completely wrong meals for my husband and I. Again staff were nowhere to be found. I had to get up and wander to find anyone to fix it. Once they "fixed" it I was still given the wrong type of eggs but gave up. I did go to the front desk just to make sure they were aware, the only response to the failed meals was 'wasn't dinner the meal entree removed?', which it was, however nothing else was and over all it seemed like they were frustrated I said anything. Upon checking out they never asked how our stay was or if we enjoyed the hotel. Wouldn't recommend this hotel for anyone.

"Another memorable stay"
soullak2016, 11 Février 2024

Third Time Visit which is a testament to how much we like this hotel. Without doubt the best in Inverness set in a beautiful location and a perfect base to explore the area or simply to relax and take advantage of the lovelyriver walks and Ness Islands on the hotels doorstep. The friendly service of all staff, calibre of room (large and spotless with lovely Arran Toiletries) fantastic Scottish themed breakfast and afternoon tea all made for another memorable stay. February without crowds still a good time to visit.

"Scotland done very well!"
raymond p, 07 Février 2024

Hotel hospitality can be disappointing and often tired in Scotland, Ness Walk Hotel is not one of these. It should be held up as an exemplar of what is possible. Outstanding accommodation, ambience, food and facilities; simple to use and reliable WiFi along with multiple EV charges demonstrate their progressive approach to their sector. The excellent staff enhance the experience with their effortless charm and general approach to guests. I visited on businesses but plan to return with family.

"Fabulous"
Tracey S, 06 Février 2024

A very last minute decision to take my Mum away for the night to celebrate the end of January. Both the restaurant and hotel were a delight. Welcomed with a glass of champagne at the hotel and a room upgrade made it the perfect choice from start to finish. Staff were courteous and thoughtful 10/10. Room and room attendants were just lovely. Meal at the restaurant was a joy starting with a cocktail at the bar. I've already started to look at dates for return visit. Well done to the whole team.

"About as good as it gets"
exportjobs, 05 Février 2024

Long weekend here was just perfect. A real find. Service superb. Food exquisite. My wife and I felt utterly spoiled and pampered to death. Couldn't fault Ness Walk. A true gem of a hotel, the staff are very well trained and go overboard to make your stay memorable. Ness Walk is without doubt a true luxury hotel and, arguably, the best there is in the Highlands.

"Another wonderful stay in this beautiful hotel"
Sheila M, 03 Février 2024

Return visit to Ness Walk. Once again the staff and service were all wonderful. The staff are all so welcoming and friendly. They make us feel so at home when staying at Ness Walk. A credit to the company for sure. Rooms nicely decorated and welcome sweets /fudge and wine were much appreciated. Breakfast is as much or little as you want it to be. A huge selection of continental items to choose from with some of the juiciest fresh blueberries and raspberry's we've ever had! Cooked items are all freshly made to order and portion size is perfect, to ensure nothing is wasted, which is all good. Cocktails all freshly made by mixology staff and tasted fantastic too. Special shout out to Marcus and Grace. Look forward to our return.

"Excellent stay..."
Stephen R, 31 Janvier 2024

Hotel was definitely 5 star. Warm welcome, lovely dinnerand breakfast, staff all very courteous. Very centrally located and a lovely mix of modern and old. Right on the shores of the River Ness and close to Loch Ness. Definitely recommended!

"Lovely hotel in Inverness"
Barbara B, 06 Octobre 2023

Lovely room - very comfortable and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Nice location. Breakfast is a combination of buffet and something from the menu; all fresh and cooked well. Excellent coffee. Dinner at Torish didn't disappoint. Great stay!

"5 Star All Around"
Rich30350, 28 Septembre 2023

We stayed here for 2 nights on our journey around Scotland. The hotel is 5 star. It is beautiful inside and out. Located about a 10-15 min walk along Ness Walk (so beautiful) from the city center. The staff are all very professional and truly understand customer service. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. There are zero complaints about this property.

"Lovely Hotel and Staff"
rhillson57, 20 Septembre 2023

Lovely hotel in the banks of the River Ness. Stayed 1 night during our 3 week driving holiday around the UK staying at 5 star hotels along the way. Lovely property with excellent staff. Dined in the restaurant and the meal was outstanding. 5 star rated hotel that didn't disappoint. Room has air conditioning which was welcomed during a short heat wave at the time.

"Gold star dinner"
202angusw, 17 Septembre 2023

We had a fantastic dinner last night in the Torrish restaurant. From start to finish we were treated like royalty. The mis-en-bouche were delicious, it was my birthday so we were given a complimentary glass of champagne. The food was superb. I had Orkney crab and Shetland cod. The smoked cod roe mousse was ‘to die for' - absolutely delicious. A glass of Albariño and another of Chablis went superbly with the dishes. The strawberries and cream pudding was perfect. A top notch night out with a restaurant that rivals the best. Championing Scottish produce too!

"Fabulous!"
LDB112013, 16 Septembre 2023

Eleanor was fabulous! It's a beautiful spot, right in the center of Inverness, walking distance to everything, with a view of the castle. Breakfast were delightful, with a variety of options for all. My husband is still talking about the homemade scones. Yum. She gave us helpful information on sights to see, made dinner reservations, and her adorable dog Mia made my daughter extra happy. Thank you Eleanor!!

"Just nice! "
lulublu11, 10 Septembre 2023

Stayed here after our original hotel booking was cancelled. And what a treat! Beautiful room in a stunning location! No complaints except the bar shut too early! Breakfast was good. Staff were appeasing.

"Great hotel - there's just one thing ..."
NP-MUC, 09 Septembre 2023

We stayed at this beautiful hotel during our road trip through Scotland this summer. The hotel is right next to the river Ness and just a short walk away from the city centre. Great location, nice pubs and restaurants nearby. Check in went smooth and without any problems. The staff was beyond welcoming and helpful. Everyone made you feel at home and the atmosphere was great. The rooms were modern, clean and big. We dined in the restaurant and enjoyed great food and excellent service. There's just one thing: As we travelled by car, we had to park somewhere and used the car park of the hotel. When we checked out, we were told that there was a fee: £20 per night. The car park is open (no garage) and not completely gated. It's basically just the driveway in front of the hotel entrance. Asking for a fee in a hotel like this really surprised us. Had we known, we could and would have easily parked on the street. However, we would stay in this hotel again as the service is excellent and hotels with such welcoming staff has become rare.

"Lovely boutique hotel"
steamboatfan, 08 Septembre 2023

Loved this gem! We were greeted with a glass of champagne upon our late evening arrival. Room was well appointed with comfortable bed, modern bath (good hot water!), and nice extras- mini bar, snacks, wine, (fee). Super clean hotel, unobtrusive turn down service, lovely breakfast and a very accommodating and friendly staff eager to please. Best of all, rooms have AC - which was very welcome after touring all day during an unexpectedly hot September week- nice to come back to! Rooms are recently updated and remodeled and ours had a gorgeous river view. Hotel is right on the walking path along the ness river and walking distance to town. Hotel common area decor is lovely with subdued color trends and layers of texture suggesting the highland mountains rivers and rocks. Highly recommend. Tip: bar is quieter than the restaurant, which is unfortunately exposed to constant kitchen noise, hallways and bar. Next time i would get a drink there before or after dinner but go into town for dinner. Its the only “miss” for Ness Walk. But this review is for the hotel. Overall this is a fabulous hotel. Must stay.

"Second to none experience-concierge and general manager fantastic"
livetoeat86, 28 Août 2023

My wife and I traveled for our anniversary. Everything was spectacular. Room was perfect and very comfortable. Everything was very clean throughout the entire hotel. The best part of all was the customer service. Csaba, Mark, Steve, and Kevin were amazing. All of these individuals went above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay very enjoyable. They gave us fantastic recommendations and got us to fantastic restaurants. Csaba was able to make sure we were taken care of and left no stone unturned. A certain restaurant was full and Csaba spoke with the owners and they were able to accommodate us and get us in for the evening. Mark and Kevin were able to recommend side trips which greatly helped while exploring the area. All of these men deserve gold stars. Food and drinks were amazing. Breakfast was unbelievable. Great job and kudos to the entire team at the Ness Walk hotel. We will be back.

"Is this the best hotel in the Scotland?"
John N, 28 Août 2023

I have experienced a great number of fine hotels and Ness Walk must rate as one of the best in the U.K. The service is second to none, the rooms are spotless and well appointed. The 'Torrish' restaurant was a delightful experience, excellent food and wine at surprisingly reasonable prices. My wife and I, and our friends who also stayed, cannot wait for an excuse to return.

"A great experience"
578shelleyj, 26 Août 2023

The hotel was first rate. The food was fabulous and the drinks were well served. Our room had all the luxuries one would need when traveling away from home. The hotel is next to the Ness River with beautiful pathways and stunning scenery as you stroll into the charming town of Inverness. I must say that the concierge Csaba made staying at this hotel a great experience. He made himself available to assist us in answering our questions and or aiding us in booking anything from excursions to train tickets. His witty personality made me smile each and everytime I saw him.

"The perfect day"
Kayleigh C, 11 Août 2023

Myself and my husband married on Wednesday and chose Ness walk for our wedding meal/reception. I believe we could not have had a better day elsewhere. The staff went above and beyond especially Kevin and Karen for our special day. Absolutely anything we asked they tried to do (even sourcing a battery for hard of hearing granddad's hearing aid). We were already existing customers but you have definitely gained several more from our guests. The meal alone proves why they are rated 5 star! Thank you so much for making our day exactly what we wanted and more ❤️

"Rowan suite"
Susannah K, 05 Août 2023

Superb hotel with great customer service. Short walk in to town across the river ness, great view across the garden's & river from our suite. Lovely restaurant with great food. Lots of new staff but all eager & friendly.

"Fabulous hotel, great team of staff and lovely food."
Fairport67, 03 Août 2023

Having arrived to celebrate our 35th Wedding Anniversary in Inverness, we could not have chosen a better location than the beautiful Ness Walk hotel with its stunning grounds. From the moment we arrived we were looked after so incredibly well by the team who were all obviously very highly trained in their roles. The service was very professional but pleasantly informal at all times. The food and rooms were of an exceptionally high standard. We had a lovely lunch on arrival and dinner in the hotel on our first night - highly recommend eating in! The room was exceedingly comfortable and well furnished with everything we would need. Location wise it is ideal. We took a walk along the river to Ness Islands and back, and it is only a 10-15 minutes stroll into the centre of Inverness itself. We came by train, but there is private parking available should you wish to drive. We look forwards to coming back again.

"Lovely Hotel with an Inviting Atmosphere"
Kenya S, 31 Juillet 2023

Our stay at Ness Walk has been superb! The rooms are clean and very comfortable with beautiful decor and modern amenities. The food at the restaurant is tasty also. But the real treat has been the service. From the time we checked in, every staff member has been so nice, polite, cheerful, and welcoming. They have helped us with our questions and requests without complaint. I especially want to highlight Marcus at the reception desk. He was incredibly pleasant and cheerful no matter when we encountered him and just made us smile! I would definitely stay at Ness Walk should I ever have the good fortune to visit Inverness again.

"Beautiful hotel in perfect location"
LouiseS47, 30 Juillet 2023

Ness Walk is a lovely 5 star hotel with a large and stunning frontage facing the river Ness in the most beautiful part of Inverness. Everything was spotlessly clean and the room was spacious and well kitted out. The stand out feature was the fabulous staff who were at all times kind, helpful and courteous. There were plenty of them around as well which was great to see. I would definitely recommend Ness Walk.

"Just wonderful"
Robert S, 24 Juillet 2023

Stayed at this hotel for my sisters wedding reception and was very impressed The manager was present and overseeing the staff who were very welcoming and professional.. The food was delicious and presentation first class. The room had everything you would expect in a 5 star hotel. Breakfast menu had a wide range of choice to start your day. I had a very enjoyable stay. I can not praise the staff enough. First class second to none.

"Family Wedding"
Fiona E R, 23 Juillet 2023

Family wedding - we had pre dinner drinks on the patio in the sunshine . Dinner was amazing and the reception room was very pretty. Staff were attentive and nothing was a bother. The only niggle would be that they didn't have enough staff on the bar. Had a room for the night. Beautiful, big and airy and welcoming. Excellent shower. Can't wait to go back in October!

"Anniversary weekend at Ness Walk"

We had a wonderful weekend at Ness Walk. From the minute of our arrival we were welcomed and looked after by the staff team who are an exceptional group. Our room was very comfortable and all our needs catered for quietly and with care. The food was delightful. Wonderful breakfasts with an array of tempting offers. Dinner was imaginative, interesting and beautifully cooked and presented. The staff in the dining room pleasant, caring and friendly. The management team are to be commended for giving us a great experience.

"Excellent and delicious afternoon tea"

As much tea as you wished .....Although we were on champagne!! We were made to feel very special and would certainly recommend this as a treat. Congratulations to all the team....well deserved!

"5* experience"
Seaside324, 13 Juillet 2023

A truly exceptional meal with first class service, attention to detail, quality food and well matched wine. A joy of a restaurant and a must visit. Staff are well trained, discreet but attentive. The wine list is exceptional and cocktails are a must-try. Overall a fantastic culinary experience. A true gem on the banks of the River Ness.

"Afternoon Tea"

Had the pleasure of visiting Ness Walk Hotel for Afternoon Tea. The week we went was Wimbledon and the creative culinary team had created a special Afternoon Tea to represent the event that of which I must say did not disappoint. The staff were very welcoming and attentive leaving you feel relaxed and at home. We will definitely return, next time for dinner.

"A Highland Gem - Ness Walk, Inverness"
jaimanalwar, 06 Juillet 2023

Nestled by the tranquil River Ness in the heart of Inverness, Ness Walk Hotel was an oasis of serene Scottish charm. Its balance of modern convenience and traditional Highland design made for an enchanting stay. Our room was spacious, tastefully furnished, and offered captivating views of the river and gardens. The staff was outstanding, bringing the famed Scottish hospitality to life. Their local recommendations made our exploration of Inverness all the more authentic. Dining at Ness Walk was a delightful experience, serving local produce in creative, tasty dishes that celebrated Scotland's rich gastronomy. Ness Walk was more than a hotel - it was a soulful Highland sanctuary. It's a place where hospitality meets art, providing a romantic and unforgettable stay for any couple. We highly recommend Ness Walk for a truly extraordinary stay in Scotland.

"Great hotel"
TomWilson1979, 08 Février 2023

Stayed here for work. The hotel is very nice and appointment to a high standard. All the staff are very welcoming and really give the hotel a five star feel. Beds are comfy, restaurant is good and there is on site parking. I enjoyed my stay and will stay again in future.

"The only 5 star hotel in Inverness with Fantastic views of the river right across the street!"
Judicap, 06 Février 2023

This hotel is amazing! The rooms are super clean, the beds are luxury and the decor is beautiful! The staff is professional, helpful and walk around with smiles!!! And that was from the hotel cleaning staff to the bartenders! Our stay at Nesswalk Hotel was during Hogmanay (New Years Eve) and the celebratory dinner was not wanting for a thing! Our dinner was outstanding, the attentive service we received was unbelievable, the music, and dancing a blast! This hotel truly knows how to do it up right and in such a classy form!! Our stay was just wonderful!!

"Fantastic! Oozes calm and tranquillity like the River Ness on its doorstep."
soullak2016, 04 Février 2023

A beautiful hotel just a ten minute picturesque walk from the city centre yet a million miles away from the hub of a city life This is our second visit to this hotel having visited during covid and it impressed us then and even more now. This is truly a remarkable hotel. From the moment you step into the hotel you are greeted with the warmest of receptions from every single staff member you meet and made to feel special. Oozes calm and tranquility like the River Ness on its doorstep The cuisine is outstanding. The Torrish restaurant is beautifully presented and tastes divine. The afternoon tea is amongst the best we have experienced and the breakfast is also excellent. Rooms are comfortable spotless with high calibre Arran toiletries. Not forgetting the extra touches glass of champagne upon arrival, mouthwatering hotel made fudge during evening turndown service. A wonderful second stay and definitely will be back. Thank you again for making our stay so memorable.

Fabulous birthday celebration at Ness Walk for my Mums 93rd birthday. Gorgeous location, lovely rooms, delicious food and meticulous attention to detail. A very special experience and a lovely way to creat lasting memories. Thanks for making it so special.

"Champagne check in"
475lorrainec, 31 Janvier 2023

We had two nights here. Check in was easy and accompanied by a glass of fizz. The hotel is modern and well laid out with nice art here n there. The staff were very attentive. The breakfast is good. Dinner was excellent with a very nice menu for our taste. Good cocktails from the bar. Our room was a decent size as was the bathroom. It's also a good location for walking into town or theatre or just a river walk. We hope to return.

"Dining out in style!"
Fiona S, 23 Janvier 2023

We had the most amazing evening at Ness Walk recently, the whole experience was 5 star from start to finish. We were collected by the wonderful Csaba and taken right to the hotel where we were so warmly welcomed by Marcus and Lewis and guided through to a lovely spot in the bar area. As we relaxed there we enjoyed Champagne and the most wonderful plate of canapés. From there we moved through to one of the best dining spots in Inverness, cosy in the bay window overlooking the river. Kimberley looked after us so well and was so attentive. The food was so delicious, such incredible flavours and everything was timed so well for us. I would like to thank all of the Ness Walk team for looking after us and making our night one to remember. We very rarely manage to get out anymore together and this was the most perfect evening. We would highly recommend the whole experience!

"Sublime Scotland"
seankslater, 18 Janvier 2023

My husband and I were visiting the UK over the 2022/2023 holiday season, and after a wet, cold but fun Hogmanay in Edinburgh, we made the beautiful trek up to Inverness for several days. We had a minor hiccup with a lost dinner reservation and spotty restaurant service the first night, but the staff more than made up for it with superb service, absolutely lovely accommodations, excellent recommendations on tours, etc. We highly recommend the breakfast, and the food in general. It was a real treat to have afternoon tea following a four hour private tour arranged by Ness Walk. I can't say enough about the lovely demeanor of basically everyone at the property. At any given time there were several folks available to help…calling cabs, asking for shopping recommendations, and anything else. They made the cold, dark Scottish winter seem warm, cozy and familiar. Highly recommend!

"An excellent, beautiful and exquisite luxury hotel ! ! !"
PVour, 12 Janvier 2023

We were a company of 8 guests visiting the hotel for the Hogmanay (New Years Eve) holiday. Upon arriving at the hotel, I can confirm that I was amazed by the location and the area surrounding the hotel. At the parking, there are a lot of spots with car charging stations. We were greeted with a glass of champagne and the lady from the reception gave us a detailed briefing for the forthcoming events in the hotel. Then we were showed to our rooms. The rooms (as you can see from my photos) are spacious and are very nicely decorated and maintained and also are very clean!!! In my opinion the are at the very high end of standards for hotel rooms. The restaurant of the hotel is divided in the dining and the bar area and both are warm and cosy. There is also another area where you can sit an have a tea or a drink. The New Year's Eve party was excellent and the menu was incredible!!! To summarize, we had a perfect stay at the hotel and we all agreed that in the first opportunity we get, we will visit the Ness Walk Hotel again...!!!

"Perfect hotel, incredible staff, beautifully decorated"
sophie m, 09 Janvier 2023

This is the best hotel I think I've ever stayed at. Every single employee we came across on our stay, were kind, polite and helpful. We were greeted upon checking in by being given a glass of beautiful champagne and sitting out looking at the views of Ness River. Breakfast was incredible and the choices were varied. The whole hotel was decorated beautifully and elegantly! The bar was lovely and well stocked and good prices for drinks. My feedback does not do this hotel justice.

"Scintillating stay"
Charles S, 08 Janvier 2023

The hotel has a lovely ambiance. Great service, lovely lobby, reception, resteraunt and bar area. The food on offer was presented and tasted fantastic. Very good variety of drinks too. The bedroom was a very decent size. We has a area outside to relax and the room had an incredibly comfy bed, nice tv, variety of lighting options. Well proportioned bathroom, with bath and shower.

"Amazing place to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary"

Absolutely beautiful hotel with a very high standard of service from all staff, seemless genuine service from check-in throughout our stay and to check out, the hotel has a lovely atmosphere, the staff work hard and work as a great team which shows in the atmosphere of the hotel, breakfast was lovely the bar and cocktails lovely the room and facilities were perfect and the hotel well maintained. a shout-out to our favourite staff Monica, what a lovely lady who was very professional and knowledgeable and also to the Fabulous Concierge Chibo(apologies for incorrect name spelling) What an absolute gentleman! Just the friendliest, happy most professional warm people, we loved every minute that we spent in the Ness Walk Hotel, it is indeed the staff that set it apart from other hotels, thankyou!

"Short break"
GRaeme K, 30 Décembre 2022

Just back from an excellent short trip to Inverness. The hotel was excellent as were the staff! Breakfast fantastic....didn't eat dinner there, but menu looked fabulous too! Will definitely be back and for longer. Stayed in the suite room 201, plenty space and very comfortable!

"A lovely stay"
NYCDesign78, 27 Décembre 2022

Hotel is very charming and a nice location. Staff quite friendly. Accommodations comfortable but nothing outstanding. For hotels in Inverness, probably the best, though. Food offerings could have been a bit broader and better.

"Weekend visit 10&11/12/22"
Chiefswwtravels, 19 Décembre 2022

I heard from others who had often stayed at Ness Walk and repeatedly told me how enjoyable their stay was so I thought I would find out for myself. From the welcome at reception (and champagne) the staff were extremely personable and very efficient a great team from the very start. Over the 2 nights we were there Christina made sure we had everything we needed and asked us to get in touch if we had any other questions. The room was great with a lovely view out towards the river and the first night we ate in the Hotel restaurant which was very enjoyable. For me the staff help make this a great place to stay - they know how to look after the guests

"A Wonderful place!"
Karen A, 19 Décembre 2022

We love this wonderful place! The warmest of welcomes from the moment you arrive until the moment you reluctantly leave. All of the staff are fabulous and altogether make your stay very special....very special indeed. The surroundings are beautiful and the bedrooms are perfect for a great stay. We can't wait to return!

"What a hidden Gem !!!"
sheonamincher, 16 Décembre 2022

My husband and I stayed here at the beginning of December. From arrival to departure we were well looked after and had a fantastic experience. All staff were friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant which was outstanding and had the entire night to enjoy the experience. Already looking to return next year .

"Evening meal at the restaurant"
agdallas, 15 Décembre 2022

We just went for a meal. The food was ok but not good enough to command the price tag. The service just wasn't good enough for the amount charged. One of the main courses came without the sauce it should have had and it took us ages to catch someone's eye to get it rectified. Consequently the rest of us were waiting too. These things happen but I just feel at this level it isn't acceptable. The staff were all very nice so I feel bad writing this....

"Excellent"
braveheartscot, 13 Décembre 2022

I stay in Inverness regularly in business and pleasure and have stayed in numerous hotels and guest houses. This is by far the best place I have stayed. Fantastic in every way, from the time you arrive at the hotel and are greeted and given a glass of champagne. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable, the staff are very professional and so friendly. Breakfast is excellent. Little wonder this hotel is number 1.

"Relaxing time away "

"This hotel has wow factor, it's exquisite and boasts charm."
JamesB485, 28 Novembre 2022

Beautifully, tastefully, decorated. Staff are superb, Marcus was extremely professional and gracious, he made us all feel very welcome. This is a 5* hotel and all our needs were cared for. Rooms appointed with everything you could want. Nice products and illy coffee machines. Had to wait a tad too long for room service but this was corrected by the room tray charge removed. I would definitely stay here again.

"Beautiful memories made"

"Overnight treat for two"
475kirstym, 24 Novembre 2022

The hotel is in a beautiful location on the banks of the River Ness. We were warmly greeted and ushered to comfy chairs in the cosy lounge looking out over the gardens to the river. Champagne appeared as our luggage was whisked off to our room and check was completed in seated comfort. This set the tone for the rest of our stay. Our room was on the ground floor with patio doors to our own seating area in the woodland garden. The room was spacious and well equipped with everything we could need and more. The bathroom, which was separate from the toilet, was filled with lovely Arran Aromatics toiletries. There was a walk in shower and separate bath with big fluffy bath towels. There were robes and slippers for us too. The room was comfortably furnished with a large bed with quality bed linens. Sky tv was provided in the room and reliable wifi throughout the hotel. Afternoon tea was a delight with an array of tasty goodies which were immaculately presented. Dinner in Torrish was very enjoyable. The dishes are created with thought and imagination and are a visual delight as well as a culinary one. We both loved the Jerusalem Artichoke Veloute. My husband enjoyed the Grilled Fillet of Pollock and I had the Roast Hispi Cabbage which was bursting with flavour. There is an extensive wine list. Breakfast was excellent - buffet items plus cooked breakfast to order washed down with lashing of hot coffee. I need to mention the best asset of this hotel and that is the staff. Everyone we met was friendly and courteous and couldn't do enough for us. We truly did feel welcome and pampered and would love to return her but for two nights next time Don't miss the lovely walk on the the islands on the river.

"FIRST CLASS HOTEL"
John T, 21 Novembre 2022

What an exceptionally good hotel in a fabulous location close to the River Ness. A great welcome on arrival from really friendly staff and a glass of champagne to start your stay. The rooms are of a great standard and the hotel fully deserves its five star rating. Breakfast was top quality and a lovely and comfortable lounge to eat in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot thank everyone of the staff who are a credit to this hotel. Very well done and 10 out of ten.

"We Loved Our Stay"
LaurenEC0147, 20 Novembre 2022

The Ness Walk Hotel is a special place and not just because of the location and accommodations, but because of the people in it - they make you feel like you are at home, even when you are nearly 6,000 miles from it. Tracey and Monica are so kind at the front desk and extremely helpful. Tracey even went out of her way to help me find a bag that I had left at a restaurant in town the night before. Steve, the head concierge, helped to make our first trip to Scotland beyond special. We were in Scotland because we were eloping on the Isle of Skye and Steve helped to set us up with a driver and helped to plan our sight seeing activities. His genuine kindness will not easily be forgotten. If you are in Inverness, I can't recommend staying here enough. We can't wait to come back.

"Third visit and still fantastic."
Miles T, 18 Novembre 2022

We spent two nights at Ness Walk as part of a musical theatre package and loved it. We had the usual welcome by name on parking and a lovely glass of champagne while checking in before being shown to our room. The whole hotel looks brand new and there can be few places where the staff are more smiley and welcoming. The theatre package was excellent. A lovely meal before being given a box of chocolates to enjoy during the show. The theatre is a short walk from the hotel and the seats were the best in the house then back for a night cap. It really is an impressive place to stay. Perfectly located to walk by the river and explore the centre of town we would highly recommend it. My only suggestion for improvement is a bottle or two of complimentary water in the room would be nice. There is the usual tray of extortionately priced goodies and two bottles of extortionately priced water. When you are paying well over £300 a night I think throwing in a free bottle of water isn't too much to expect.

"Such a wonderful place"
lifelight, 16 Novembre 2022

Such a great stay ... As soon as we stepped out of the bus our luggages were taken care of, than we were showed into the lobby where we were given a glass of champagne and hushed into some comfy sofa in front of a fire place...what more can you ask for ??...I was delighted. Then a very nice lady came to do the check in (first time checking in on a couch in front of a fire place !). Then the so devoted and kind bellman/concierge showed us to our room and explained everything. They even had a complimentary bottle of wine waiting in our room. The room is a very good size as well as the shower. Bed was very comfortable and everything was spotless. The breakfast was good and you had a decent amount of choices. The only little bother was the gravel on their driveway. It wasn't easy to roll out luggage at departure. The location is great along the river and just a short walk to town. Hopefully I can be back one day.

"Good , with a few improvements needed ."
killieman47, 13 Novembre 2022

Nice hotel beside the river . The rooms are pretty big , well appointed . You are greeted on arrival with champagne, a nice touch , and the receptionist comes over to sort out the paperwork. As I said , a good place , with a few minor quibbles . The facilities are a bit light - no gym for example . The staff are nice but service , particularly at breakfast us a bit wanting - we had to ask for glasses , milk and butter . For an upmarket place they need to train their staff a bit more . Having said all that , we had a good time and we'd return.

"Lovely hotel on scenic grounds"
SugarBee93, 11 Novembre 2022

The Ness Walk Hotel is a great place to stay. The customer service is excellent. The staff is helpful and friendly. The hotel has a nice bar. The location is a short walk from the main downtown area. There is a beautiful walking trail nearby that takes you to a small island on the River Ness with very old trees and beautiful scenery. The rooms were very clean. The air in the room was a little stuffy and we were unable to adjust the thermostat. However the windows did open. Based on the looks of other hotels in town, I would say this is by far the nicest. I would definitely stay here again when in the area.

"Conference stay"
StuartD49, 10 Novembre 2022

Had a 2 night stay at Ness Walk for a conference. From the second I stepped in the hotel to the time I left the staff were incredible and couldn't be more helpful. Quality breakfast choice. Perfect for a stay in the Highlands for business and leisure, will definitely be back.

"3 stars or 4?"
Maclebon M, 08 Novembre 2022

Great customer service..some of the best we have experienced in the world. We can't fault the hotel for that..best we've had. We were greeted, at night, in the parking lot, after starting our highlands car tour. Luggage taken in by an excellent guy..we can't remember his name but he was perfect! Then, champagne served after check in. I don't know, but it's not a Gay resort..is it? We don't mind a persons sexual orientation, although it shouldn't be an issue should it, but to watch an employee openly flirt with an embarrassed guest to the point that the guest wouldn't even look them in the eye or reply in more than a couple words, was just embarrassing! Very inappropriate in a professional setting. Why? Our bedroom was lovely, but no ventilation so that when we took showers and I dried my hair, it was so humid I was sweating. We couldn't open the windows and there is not vent in the bathroom. The thermostat didn't seem to work so we're couldn't turn it off..or down. It was an uncomfortable nights sleep. When we walked into the hallway, the next morning, it was cool and nice! We decided on a sit down breakfast and I ordered the eggs Benedict with spinach, and my English husband had the Full English. I had to chew the spinach and had trouble even cutting it because it wasn't cooked properly or had too many stringy stems in it and it wasn't washed properly because there was grit in it. Maybe train the sous chef? I hate having to say anything negative about this place..but?

"A lovely hotel with nice quiet, clean rooms in a great location but undertrained staff and understaffed"
travelgal0re, 06 Novembre 2022

Only three issues but with food, it is major. One of members ordered the vegetarian option and it was so salty as to inedible. No server came back to our table after bringing our meals to check to see how anything was. Her husband tried to get someone's attention but no one responded. We ran out of water and there were no refills. It wasn't until they came to see if we wanted dessert that we were able to bring this to the attention of the maitre d. Then it turns out that this dish has been a problem before! We had to ask for more water. The next morning, my friends finished eating as I joined them late. I had eggs and toast, my coat was on the back of the chair and the room key was on the table with my coffee. I went to the cold bar to get juice and when I returned, my eggs had been cleared but my friends' dirty dishes were still there. I told the server and she apologized and said she would get another order but I said I didn't have time. Still, she insisted. When I said that given my coat and room key were there, why didn't she just wait to ask me or at least clear away the spots that were clearly empty??? She didn't answer. Those issues aside, the staff found great restaurants for us and made reservations. That was greatly appreciated. They did not know where the closest ATM was. They told my friend she would have to take a taxi to a bank far away. It was obvious that many of the staff were new and just getting trained and that there was low level of some staffing especially in the dining room. The location is magnificent and walkable to the main part of town.

"Stay at the Ness Walk and fall in love with the Highlands"
610maryellenb, 31 Octobre 2022

We had an absolutely enchanting stay at the Ness Walk Hotel. We were greeted like old friends, our bags were hurried off to our rooms while we sipped champagne in the lobby. The staff was superb, the room lovely, and the view amazing (it was peak fall). The attention to detail in every small thing made for such a pleasant experience. Grace booked us a tour of the Highlands with Invergordon Tours (see my review of them there) which was lovely. We had high tea at the Ness Walk as well as a very special dinner. The hotel is easily walkable to the heart of the city (about a mile) or to the Ness Islands. A cab ride was about five pounds. Grace, Tracy, Michael and the entire staff are really dedicated to a guest having a lovely stay. I highly recommend making this beautiful, special hotel your place while you are in Inverness.

"Most Amazing Service and Staff!"
pinktrebleclefs, 30 Octobre 2022

We stayed here as a couple in late October as a treat for my birthday. We stayed two nights and booked one of the Autumn packages that included a dinner for two, afternoon tea for two and breakfasts for two on both mornings. We arrived early to have afternoon tea before checking in and upon arrival all the staff at the front desk cannot be more helpful and it was a seamless experience getting our details checked and off to enjoy the most amazing afternoon tea. I plan to write a separate review about the Torrish restaurants, but my partner and I are both foodies and we are stunned that the restaurant hasn't yet received a Michelin star or a Rosette. Following afternoon tea, it was the best check-in experience that I have received at a hotel. We were seated at comfortable sofas whilst the lovely staff checked our details and we were then served a chilled glass of champagne each. Once we were ready to go up to our rooms, we were escorted by the staff and got a quick tour. We stayed at one of the Laurel rooms and everything was modern, clean and just as you would want for a long weekend break. What distinguished the Ness Walk staff from other hotel staff is that every corner you turn, you are greeted and each meal and each drink that you have at the hotel were accompanied by a quick (but non-intrusive) conversation about your experience or how your day was going. Special thanks to the attentive staff at the Torrish restaurant who paid utmost attention to how your meal is progressing before putting in the next course, without being intrusive, it was the best dining experience we have had this year. Lastly parking is more expensive than we expected, being £15 for each night; however upon arrival you will see that parking is in the hotel gates and it's extremely restricted and reserved for hotel residents/guests only. In the surrounding area I could see that there is some on-street parking but for the convenience and security, we understand the cost.

"An absolute delight!"
Barbara L, 29 Octobre 2022

The location of this hotel could not be better, short walk into centre of Inverness or delightful walks along the river Ness. The standard of accommodation is excellent, what really makes this Hotel outstanding is the quality of all the staff, from cleaners to reception to restaurant to concierge- they all couldn't be more pleasant and always delighted to help you. We enjoyed all our meals but special mention must go to the pastry chef for the delightful afternoon tea it was exceptional ! We really did feel we had 2 nights of luxury and can't wait to visit again.

"Scottish hospitality at it's absolute best! "
EmmaTorrisdale, 29 Octobre 2022

Before we'd even stepped out of the car we were looked after by the wonderful concierge. A delicious glass of bubbly greeted us inside and it was lovely to go through the check-in process from the comfort of the lounge. The room was beautiful with an amazing garden view and so comfortable. We enjoyed a lovely cocktail at the bar before heading over to the sister hotel, The Kingsmill where the professionalism and quality matched the Ness Walk. Heading home feeling utterly pampered.

"First class afternoon tea"
Nessie100, 28 Octobre 2022

My wife, daughter and myself decided to try this hotel for an afternoon tea. It wasn't the cheapest in town but without doubt the best quality. The staff were all really professional and friendly and nothing too much trouble. The food was amazing and all very relaxed and un rushed. Really recommend for a first class experience

"A place you must go to"
Shona74us, 27 Octobre 2022

I booked a family meal for my mothers special birthday. The booking was taken by Kimberly who was amazing and made the whole process seamless and was so helpful. On arrival she was there to great us and made sure throughout the evening we had everything we needed. Even arranging for the cake to be brought out and everyone to sing happy birthday to my mother. All the staff were so attentive and made the evening so relaxed. The food was astounding, all quality local produce prepared to perfection. My mother had an amazing time and thoroughly enjoyed the evening as did the rest of the party. When the time came for us to leave Kimberley was there to see if there was anything she could do to assist and all the staff were so lovely We have been to Ness Walk several times previously for afternoon tea, which is to die for and also as a family last Christmas. The food, service and general ambience is always amazing and the staff are superb and will always be so helpful. We are returning again for Christmas this year and look forward to another special outing to Ness Walk I would not hesitate to recommend this place and we will definitely always have at the top of our list

"Afternoon tea"
kristandelmarty, 26 Octobre 2022

We've been to high tea in quite a few places around the world. We had our best afternoon tea experience here! The service was exceptional, the food and drinks were so unique and delicious, and the value was well worth it. Highly recommend!

"It doesn't get better than this."
Nancy G, 22 Octobre 2022

It doesn't get better than this hotel. Easy parking, friendly staff, convenient location and just beautiful rooms. Located just off the town square, it is within walking distance to great shopping and dining. We were able to get a couple of wonderful sandwiches at the bar for a late lunch. The local gin is really good! It was a beautiful night so we walked downtown and walked back after dark. Lovely river walk across the street from the hotel. Everything about the Ness Walk was just perfect!

"A Lovely Hotel"
Stephanie S, 20 Octobre 2022

Absolutely loved our stay here. The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable, the food was delicious, and the staff went above and beyond at every turn to make us feel welcome and appreciated. The hotel is perfectly situated on the beautiful river, near the Ness Islands and close to downtown. Worth every penny of our stay, we loved every second and would gladly return.

"Definitely 5 star and thats not just the concierge - lovely grounds too"
UKStraveller, 19 Octobre 2022

Private gated and secure this 5 star classed hotel provides a warm welcome, critical careful and restful ownership of making our stay the best it can. The rooms are very well appointed, plush, absolutely spotless. Arrivals are greeted by a personable, knowledgeable and attentive concierge. The very pleasant check in manager confirmed our details and needs, offers a drink of choice whilst our luggage is delivered. You are escorted to your room and shown the facilities en route . There is an elevator (lift)if needed We had an evening show at the Eden theatre (a few mins walk away along the riverside) and arranged for post show food and drinks in the room. A lush, depthy and tasty chicken burger and glass of wine was delivered as promised. Breakfast was efficient, but have to say the full Scottish breakfast wasnt as full as we like it or expected 1 rasher of tasty bacon, a few mushroom's , one half of a tomato and two fried eggs was minimalistic, though we had forgiven the haggis and the Black pudding by choice. I would have expected a fuller plate. Nice varied buffet too with local fare. The Velux automatic controls are a bit of an art form but the blinds truly black out and keep the room as it should be Would recommend if staying in Inverness and we will return

"Grand and Beautiful"
EweAndMe, 19 Octobre 2022

We stayed here for my birthday 11th October. The staff were polite, efficient and willing to meet any request. The evening meal was delicious and the birthday chocolates were a lovely touch. Our room 111 was perfect, I appreciate the separate bathroom and toilet. Every amenity was provided for and the bed was comfy. The hotel is gorgeously decorated.

"High Tea"
julienmU4160EJ, 18 Octobre 2022

Excellent high tea in a beautiful hotel. Our infant daughter loved the food and tea (she loves tea). We wanted to experience high tea while traveling through Europe. We loved our time in Inverness and our meal at the Ness Walk Hotel. Suzi was a great host, thank you!

"Great Service"
andrewfriscotx, 14 Octobre 2022

As the organizer of a large traveling group I was extra pleased with Ness Walk. Every employee I encountered was very kind and proactive. The extra touch with a welcome glass of sparkling wine was very nice. The room was spotless and the bathroom, especially the shower was excellent. I really enjoyed the breakfast service and quality of variety and of the food. The location is excellent and the grounds are very pretty. I would highly recommend this hotel.

"Excellent!"
Fiona W, 13 Octobre 2022

From the warm greeting accompanied by a perfectly chilled glass of champagne, to the beautiful room with the most comfortable bed.....Ness Walk has it all. Their attention to detail, from selecting & training the best people for the different roles in the hotel, to the fresh milk in the fridge, Ness Walk has thought of everything. Care and attention has been given to every aspect from the grounds to the stylish interior. The location is gorgeous, on the banks of the River Ness, a 5 min walk to the centre of Inverness, Eden Court Theatre on its doorstep. Access to the North Coast 500 close by. My room had its own lovely little patio. In better weather I would have been out enjoying the gardens. Another lovely touch, seat pads for the the outdoor seats tucked away in the large wardrobe , guests comfort is everything at Ness Walk. And my most favourite thing, amongst many, a separate WC from the bathroom! Bliss.

"Golden Times"
christiannO3564YD, 11 Octobre 2022

Our first stay at Ness Walk while celebrating an occasion with wider family, made all the more special thanks to the beautiful surroundings and excellent service. From the moment we arrived and were treated to a welcome glass the entire team went out of their way to ensure that everything went smoothly and everyone had all that they could wished for. Relaxed atmosphere pre dinner, fabulous meal, cooked to perfection. A massive thank you to all

"5 star service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
L941, 11 Octobre 2022

Our first visit. Welcome on arrival was friendly informative and most enjoyable. Room spotless with lovely decor. Robes and mules appreciated but missing a hook in bathroom to hang after use. There were hooks for outdoor coats etc in room on entry. Everything expected/needed was available. Dining area had a lovely ambience. Lounge bar area was well serviced. Foyer a welcoming area, spacious, with lovely view of River Ness, but decor a bit flat, missing some warm accessory touches. Staff a great team who have had good training in providing friendly excellent service. Dinner delicious and well presented. Good breakfast choice. Afternoon tea enjoyable. Senior Bar person in lounge was most attentive and Marcus is born for the hotel industry! He goes above and beyond ! Definitely a returner.

Gorgeous hotel, fabulous room with breathtaking views. We thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay at the Ness Walk. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was very good - could use a bit more fruit and nuts on the buffet (for yogurt/porridge). Bring comfy shoes if you don't have a car - the walk to town is almost a mile each way.

"Absolutely perfect!"
suzannetG9307ZC, 06 Octobre 2022

Ness Walk made sure to be a memorable, thoughtful and truly luxury experience for us. We chose to stay here while in Inverness for our Honeymoon. When we arrived we were greeted by a warm and friendly member of staff with champagne at the ready. I was knackered from a long day of travel and they got me a hot cup of tea as well. Our room was beautiful and we had a really lovely note from the staff with congratulations and a treat waiting for us. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I say this having been to quite a lot of Michelin Star establishments around the world. In particular the goat cheese/tomato starter at dinner and the haddock at breakfast were perfectly done and almost (*almost*) too pretty to eat. I truly hope we have the occasion to come back to this gem of a hotel in the highlands. Thank you to the whole staff - and Steve, their head concierge, in particular. You all gave us some of the best memories we could have hoped for on our honeymoon!

"Not quite five stars"
jhfullmer, 03 Octobre 2022

Other the the restaurant, which is wonderful, there are no surprises. All the rooms are the same size. Nice but nothing to write home about. Nice staff. Nice grounds. Great hotel if you are stopping off to play golf. Breakfast is very good but nothing that is memorable.

"Happiest Stay in Inverness!"
lgkeegan, 29 Septembre 2022

Our stay at Ness Walk in Inverness could not have been better. From the wonderful welcome, when we were ushered into comfy couches in front of a fire with glasses of champagne - and didnt leave for two hours! - to the beautiful rooms and incomparable food; we can't imagine anywhere more welcoming or beautiful. Te hotel is just next to the River Ness with a lovely walkway. And definitely reserve dinner at Torrish; its a perfect compliment to everything lovely about Ness Walk. Would just love to go back!

"Best Hotel in Inverness"
drieldc, 28 Septembre 2022

The Ness Walk Hotel is billed as the best hotel in Inverness and we believe it. We were greeted with a warm welcome after a very long journey and assisted to our room which had a lovely view of the grounds. By American standards, it would be on the level of a business hotel with amenities. Breakfast and meals in the hotel were generous. The matress was very, very firm; plenty of hot water for the shower and bath.

"Afternoon tea"
nurseScotland, 19 Septembre 2022

We, a party of 6 adults and two children were really looking forward to afternoon tea at the hotel. The welcome was fine and the staff were very nice. However, after we were seated it took a long time to be given the menus and once we were happy the time to bring the food was unacceptably long. Our tea had gone cold and some of the bread was dry. We were amazed at the small amount provided for 8 people. I know many ‘high class' restaurants think less is more, but you do expect at least two sandwiches each. The hotel is very smart and I would hope this was a rare hiccup from an otherwise very pleasant afternoon. We intend to book for an evening meal as everyone deserves a second chance.

"The Best of Welcomes"
dove321, 18 Septembre 2022

We were met in the car park, luggage taken in, sat in the lovely lounge and handed a glass of champagne! Has to be one of the best check-ins I have ever experienced. We had checked out of The Torridon a day early (really bad experience there), and needed one night in Inverness before checking into to a pre-booked hotel, the help and service we had from start to finish was impeccable, their 5 stars more than well deserved. Super location right next to the River Ness, great walks right from the hotel. A special thanks to Stephen, Constantine and Grace for making us feel special and at home at the same time. We will be back, and can't recommend a stay here enough.

"Ness Walk Hotel experience"
kathrynsK1854LV, 13 Septembre 2022

In August 2022, bosom friend Ann & I took a 2wk trip to Wales and Scotland, from Heathrow heading to Cardiff, then north through Wales then to Scotland Highlands then on to our bucket-list goal of attending The Royal Tattoo. We did this by rail, changing hotels every other night, sometimes just one-night stays. Being 81 and 78, this was a journey that we started off questioning our abilities, like, "what-were-we-thinking??" Unfamiliar with railway traveling, toting luggage, sometimes crowded rail cars, questionable knees, it took us the first week to finally acclimate ourselves finding platform settings, clinging to our QR passes, finding taxi areas, watching for stops, searching for benches, sometimes to catch our breath. Our hotels were all exceptional, with only one or two being without a "lift" (in the US they're elevators), and when we asked how to get to shopping or touring, we were told the distance in minutes, like, "a ten-minute walk", which became a half-hour walk for us. Still, those good old-fashioned tour buses are universal, and we took full advantage of them, as are ATMs, so noted. The helpfulness, kindness, and willingness of UK natives I'm sure was easily the unexpected highlight of our trip. Hotel management called us ladies; cabbies called us luvies. We appreciated both very much. Our rail travel was constantly aided by travelers' assists with luggage, directions, and genuine conversation inquiring which US States we were from. UK people rock. We miss them, actually. I am a breakfast person, and was delighted to find that the British hotel breakfasts are terrific. One stands out as probably the best breakfast I have ever been offered, which was the Ness Walk Hotel in Inverness. This hotel is located along the beautiful Ness River, along which the city provides a lovely walkway with foot bridges and organic landscape. The hotel itself is pristine and the outdoor walkways match the river walk's natural beauty. Breakfast was an actual culinary experience. Along with the hot meal menu, a buffet was set up along the bar with fresh fruit of sliced pineapple and melons, citrus, dates, chopped figs, nuts, cheeses of brie and bleu, smoked salmon, a delightful green smoothie (that our own famous MARTHA would love), plus croissants, Danishes, juices, and my personal surprise favorite; a small tumbler of "over-night oats" with maybe honey, banana, coconut and yogurt. I topped it with chopped pistachios, and I think about if often, and have yet to successfully duplicate it. I met the chef and gracious lady responsible for this spread, and thanked them so much. Oh, and of course, the blanched tomato on every breakfast plate, which I learned to eat in New Zealand in 2003, without salt and pepper, I might add. The 2 nights I spent at the Ness Walk Hotel, were not enough. Hopefully, I'll return someday. Thank you for small culinary wonders like the providers of that thoughtful creative healthful delicious breakfast. My short-term memory usually fails me, but I will never forget the Ness Walk breakfast; my foodie instincts will prevail. The UK trip was an anticipated endeavor for us, having been postponed from 2020. We saw our famous Royal Tattoo (from row Y!) in person and gloriously. UK weather, fine: Human Kindness, overflowing. Thanks to all. Kathy S. from USA full advantage of them.

"Nice hotel but disappointing for prices"
Nomad62079363139, 04 Septembre 2022

We had big expectations on arrival at the hotel. Champagne on arrival was fantastic and the room was also great. At breakfast there was no glasses for juice, no milk on table for tea and coffee no cups along with the severed tea and coffee and no butter which was disappointing for the prices we payed. Also the flower on table was dead and dropped over the vase , not really the fresh bright start to the day

"Fantastic!"
ValueLuxurySeeker, 02 Septembre 2022

This is a truly luxury hotel with great service. Location along the river is great, as is the property overall. Rooms are fabulous and spacious. Definitely worthy of 5 stars. Food at the restaurants was good (although my wife did not like her aubergine dish one night). I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, but do note that it is a little on the expensive side.

"A Pampered Experience"
Lynnettesbk, 01 Septembre 2022

After the stress of driving from the crowded streets of Edinburgh, we were so grateful and delighted to be pampered at Ness Walk. We were greeted with relaxing smiles, eager assistance with parking and our luggage AND champagne in the beautiful lounge area. The staff were outstanding all the way around from the front desk to the bar to the cleaning staff to the fabulous restaurant. Save room for breakfast and be sure to reserve dinner at Torrish. YUM! The rooms were spacious and comfortable with robes, a jet tube, separate toilet room, nice closet space and relaxing view. The location is right along the river and easy walking distance to many restaurants, shopping and Inverness Castle. We took a couple of nice day trips from here as well based on staff recommendations including to Culloden. We've already referred friends to Ness Walk!

"A perfect stay in Inverness"
LosAngeles5967, 30 Août 2022

We just completed out 3 night stay at the Ness Walk, and it could not have been better! From the complimentary glasses of champagne upon our arrival, to the warm service and greetings. Although the hotel is a decent size, all of the staff are so warm and friendly, and always greetings you at every corner. Mark who helped us to our room was wonderful, and gave us a quick tour of the room. The beds are so comfortable, the rooms so quiet. The breakfast was a standout! Every morning we looked forward to our breakfast, smoked lox, haddock and scrambled eggs, etc. The location is simply divine. By the river, a short 10 minute walk to town, or to the islands which we explored. The river is so so gorgeous, definitely enjoyed walking to town everyday to explore... Thank you Ness for making our stay in Inverness a dream!

"Beautiful hotel with views of the river"
sashaduckett, 22 Août 2022

Beautiful room with views of the river. The bedroom and bathroom were delightful, large and very clean. Evening time in the bar, we had scrumptious cocktails followed by a delicious dinner in the dining room. The staff were happy and very friendly. In the morning I had a lovely run along the river, spotting Herons and other bird life followed by an amazing breakfast of delicious fruits, yoghurts, breads and a cooked breakfast. Who could ask for more! A very special stay.

"High tea"
Joanie T, 16 Août 2022

"Another wonderful stay at Ness Walk"
Debbie C, 15 Août 2022

We recently stayed at Ness Walk with our Daughter and her partner as a belated Birthday treat. This is our second stay at Ness Walk and everything was perfect. We would especially like to thank Monica, who went above and beyond to help organise special treats to make our daughters stay wonderful. Her attention to detail and her kindness was so appreciated.

"Great service at Ness Walk"
Rpcoltrane2, 14 Août 2022

Thanks to the staff at Ness Walk Hotel for their excellent service. Wonderful meal served by excellent staff, particularly Gemma and Mirren. Always have a great experience at this hotel. Highly recommended.

"Outstanding Concierge service"
Stgss, 12 Août 2022

This hotel is a standout in so many ways, I could go on for a bit. However, my personal experience relates to the concierge, Stephen, who came to my (our) aid when my husband took a long walk and found himself an area he did not recognize. Stephen spoke with him on the phone ( which had a dying battery), calmed me , and drove me around the city until we spotted my husband, just blocks from the hotel. My point is that staff here work seamlessly to ensure that all is well for guests. This is not to give shrift to the food, cocktails, well appointed rooms ,ambiance, etc It's all good. This is merely a delayed big shout to Concierge Stephen!

"Outstanding Everything"
maggietZ9426NL, 03 Août 2022

From the moment we arrived, Monica and the front desk reception was incredible. Monica in the restaurant was welcoming and accommodating in every way possible. Just a spectacular place to stay- room (cedar king) was spacious and beautifully decorated. The in-house staff was also outstanding. We highly recommend the Ness Walk!!

"Very nice if you want higher quality"
121017, 24 Juillet 2022

Very nice hotel environment. Visited in October 2020 and was very impressed. The food in the restaurant was excellent, especially the mussels. Staff were helpful and courteous in navigating all the covid rules. On the expensive side for sure but if you want to pay for something a bit nicer this is well worth it.

"Best Hospitality and Kindness People"
Tarinafelina, 22 Juillet 2022

Vaila and Monica greeted us with such kindness, care, and compassion, we instantly felt so welcomed and at home. My husband and I are both so impressed with the upbeat and memorable customer service here at Ness Walk. Thank you Vaila and Monica for going above and beyond. We truly appreciated your positivity and good energy!! ◡̈

"Great hotel on the River Ness 10 min walk from the city center."
globeseekingfamily, 13 Juillet 2022

Absolutely incredible hotel. It is a 10 min walk from the main city center area right on the river. We went with our 3 small children and both sets of grandparents, so rather a large group. The staff was absolutely incredible with our family. Every person we met from the front desk to the restaurant to the housekeeping were wonderful. The rooms were very nice and very good sized. There is also a good green space area in front of the hotel that our children (5 and 3) enjoyed running off some energy. There was complimentary breakfast with our rooms and the food was great. We had a different hot breakfast item every done and none disappointed. There were also a lot of different restaurants right on the river between the hotel and downtown with lots of options for dinner every night. This will be the only place we will ever stay when we come to Inverness. HIGHLY recommend it to all!

"Exceptional Service & Wonderful Accommodations"
darlenew793, 08 Juillet 2022

I recently had a train to Edinburgh cancelled as a result of a strike. The Ness Walk concierge Mark, after not being able to get anyone on the phone from LNER, drove me to the train station in Inverness just before they closed that evening to inquire about my options for my return trip. In addition to offering first class service, the peace of mind that this gave me was priceless. I could relax and enjoy the experience of staying at Ness Walk. The 5 star experience wasn't limited to personable and professional staff. The location was beautiful, the food amazing, and the amenities in my room had me thinking I was in Japan. Everything is thought of, and of the highest quality.

"Visit to Inverness"
Robert M, 05 Juillet 2022

Absolutely lovely first class hotel! Beautiful setting along the River and close to town. We had a mix up on our reservations, that was totally on us, and the staff at Ness Walk could not have been more gracious and accommodating, particularly Monica at reception. Overall the staff and the accommodations were excellent and we can't wait to return!

"Excellent staff make this a good place to stay"
David G, 04 Juillet 2022

The staff were uniformly pleasant, willing and determined to help us enjoy our stay. The hotel overcame an initial issue with an Oak King room but handled it well The bedroom accommodation was comfortable with excellent bedding, a key contributor to good sleep quality

"Fantastic Hotel"
P9371UOhelenr, 03 Juillet 2022

First class service. We were greeted with umbrellas in the car park as the rain was on. Then received champagne on arrival, our luggage was taken to our room, staff were all extremely polite and very professional. Our room was just fab, room very spacious, we had a bath and separate shower, it was spotless and the windows just made it. Breakfast was lovely and fresh, again every member of staff greeted us, wished us a good day, we were even waved off in the car park as we left. Could not fault a single thing. Top class!! Scott and Helen.

"Fantastic"
glasgowsundown, 02 Juillet 2022

Lovely secluded hotel on the banks of the river. From the minute we arrived we were so looked after. Steve, concierge, not only helped us with our luggage , he was happy to take some photos of us on the lawn at the lovely outside bar. All of the staff in this hotel are super nice. It is like a family and they all cannot do enough for you. Marcus was brilliant. So helpful and professional. What a lovely guy. Vaila was also so friendly as were all the staff we met. The guys in the bar were great and looked after everyone . It reminded me of the Old Government House Hotel on Guernsey were they also have fabulous staff who all want you to enjoy your stay. When we return to Inverness this is where we want to stay.

"Sumptuous"
bobnsus, 01 Juillet 2022

From our arrival to our departure, every little detail was catered for, we enjoyed a lovely welcome drink, overlooking the courtyard, meanwhile our cases were taken to the room, and our check in organised. We had a beautiful room overlooking the river with floor to ceiling windows, the bed was so comfy. At night we ate in the Torrish restaurant, staff there were professional and friendly. I will definitely be back to this amazing hotel

"Excellent!"
SCD68, 19 Juin 2022

The staff are welcoming and friendly. We ate in the restaurant and the food was absolutely delicious. We had a cocktail beforehand in the bar which was amazing. Service is excellent too. A couple of things were missed such as the dead flowers on our table in the bar and it would have been nice if the ladies loo was checked as the bin was overflowing and could have done with a tidy up. But definitely worth a visit and we will be back.

"Great hotel! Incredible Staff and Breakfast."
G4776WEmatthews, 18 Juin 2022

The staff at this hotel is just exceptional. If there is a friendlier and more attentive crew, I have yet to meet them. The rooms are nice. The breakfast is also first rate. Location? Absolutely super. I cannot imagine what anyone could come up with to complain about. I

"Excellent"

We had an enjoyable experience staying at Ness Walk. The staff were very friendly and professional. We had dinner and breakfast here which was very good. Our room was spacious, very clean and well appointed. Situated in a great spot with parking, it was very convenient to walk into the city. Would recommend.

"Nice afternoon tea"
Fiona R, 06 Juin 2022

I had booked and afternoon tea for the jubilee weekend while visiting a friend. We were welcomed warmly and shown to our table. We ordered drinks and waited for our food to arrive. After about 20 mins we were approached to ask if we had any dietry requirements, on my o line booking I had informed a gluten free and vegitarian option was required, and also phoned to confirm, so thought it odd to be asked this question. When the beautifully prezented sandwiches arrived, whereas my friend had cucumber, salmon and roast beef, I felt my option of cheese and tomato and egg and then cucumber were poor substitutes and nothing out of the ordinary. The tea was nicely presented, not too much but a nice quantity. Although beetroot for a substitute for sausage rolls for both of us again was a poor substitute.

"Afternoon tea served perfectly.?"
Excursion38263050482, 26 Mai 2022

An afternoon tea/drinks with friends made even more special by the exceptional staff. Each team member we passed said “hello” but this didn't feel forced and Megan (I believe) was friendly and attentive all afternoon. We appreciated the fantastic service, lovely food and relaxed atmosphere. Also, our afternoon was very reasonably priced for such high quality. Thank you all.

"Excellent"
Manish29Gupta, 24 Mai 2022

From the time we checked in we completely loved this place. Smooth and warm check in with some lovely drinks offered, excellent concierge who gave us some fantastic tips in and around the city. The rooms are updated, fresh and very featured and comfortable. Breakfast is superb, so was dinner. I highly recommend the walk around the river and the bridges on the River Ness which is just around the hotel.

"Afternoon tea"
figo934, 22 Mai 2022

Had a lovely afternoon tea here, great selection of sandwiches and sweets. Staff were all very welcoming on arrival and throughout our visit. Served by lovely Megan who was very friendly and charming. The hotel is beautiful and has a very relaxed atmosphere about it. Shame the hotel charges for parking but thankfully we got parked across the road.

"Lovely Experience with Excellent Service"
730chelsea, 21 Mai 2022

My husband and I visited the Ness Walk for our honeymoon and it was an absolutely wonderful stay. The food, accommodations (particularly the comfortable bed!), and location were all wonderful and it was a truly relaxing experience. Our biggest acclaim however would go to the staff, who were always helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and fast. Lewis and James in particular were great and gave us perfect recommendations for where to go in Inverness based on what we were looking for. When my husband told he bar manager (I unfortunately cannot recall his name right now) our next destination, he gave us an alternate route through the highlands which might have been our favorite part of the trip. Ness Walk was a 10 for 10 in our books; we would absolutely visit again!

"Beautiful property with amazing service"
Havefuneatwell, 17 Mai 2022

We spent two nights at Ness Walk with a small group. The hotel is perfectly situated on the bank of River Ness and about a 10 minute walk to the shops and restaurants of Inverness. The property is beautiful, but the thing that stands out is the service. We had a very nice champagne welcome while waiting to check in. All the staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Grace came outside to give us a message from our driver and also walked us to our room. Breakfast was excellent as was The Torrish restaurant for dinner. The only thing missing is a gym/pool/spa but maybe that's in the works? Overall a terrific stay.

"Fantastic overnight stay"
21allan1957, 16 Mai 2022

Stayed overnight on 11th May at Ness Walk. From moment of arrival to check out we were looked after in a very welcoming and friendly manner. Have nothing but praise for this lovely hotel. The staff were impeccable, food lovely and room excellent. Can't wait to visit again.

"Luxury Stay on the River"
BrynMawrBK, 15 Mai 2022

Ness Walk is a lovely small luxury hotel in a gorgeous quiet location along the western side of the River Ness. Staff was very welcoming and helpful at all times. Despite a slightly corporate feel to the bar area and hallways, overall the personal attention we received made the experience more intimate. The Wellintonia Suite at the top of the hotel was massive, with sleek contemporary furnishings and great skylight views of the town and grounds. It was a very easy walk to great restaurants just blocks away, and mere steps to the pedestrian bridge over the river. A really beautiful dining room with opulent table settings made a great breakfast even nicer. The temporary outdoor bar/restaurant on the front lawn provided a slight disconnect from the otherwise elegant appearance of the property, but it actually looked like fun and we were sorry we didn't have time to enjoy it. We will definitely stay at Ness Walk when next in Inverness.

"Best Experience"
nbcarden, 13 Mai 2022

I have nothing but great things to say about our time here. From the moment we walked in we were treated so great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Relaxing with champagne and then being escorted to our room, then to diner. Food for both dinner and breakfast were top of the line and fabulous. Our room was very comfortable and this is probably where we slept the best the entire trip. We were both so impressed with everything that we are planning on staying again on our trip this year.

"Absolutely fabulous"
Mary K, 13 Mai 2022

Checked in today for the weekend to celebrate The Husband's 65th birthday… a week early as we have a wedding next week .. fabulous service from the minute we arrived … champagne on arrival.. dinner absolutely fabulous.. cannot recommend highly enough… looking forward to breakfast and night two

"excellent location .. excellent service , reasonably priced"
Imad K, 13 Mai 2022

It is a 5 stars hotel , very similar to any 4 seasons , Ritz Carlton rooms , restaurant , etc the biggest difference is their quality service which exceeds expectation .. their Staff is the biggest assets they have superior to any 5 Stars I stayed at

"Spring break"
Ehlucock, 11 Mai 2022

We have stayed here a few times now and never could fault anything before. Unfortunately the cold buffet breakfast is now self service a retrograde step in the current climate of Covid and not to a five star standard service. The staff were all wonderful and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The standard of dining is excellent but personally I would prefer my food not covered in a flower garden. the chef is trying too hard. We shall be back in the future as overall a great stay

"Very modern, and yet charming hotel."
Bill H, 10 Mai 2022

Beautiful hotel, great room, great location right on the river, a short walk from the centre. A very pleasant stay overall. A gym would have been a nice amenity. The breakfast buffet was good, but not as good as we would have expected given the overall quality of the hotel itself.

"They thought of every detail!"
iilysia, 07 Mai 2022

I can not say enough good things about this hotel, they are AMAZING! From check in to check out, I was completely taken care of! Pros: - Staff is professional, warm, friendly, and helpful - Lobby, restaurant and rooms are sparkling clean - Food is delicious - Bed is comfortable, the high quality linens and pillows - Tasteful decor - Super fast wifi - Good water pressure and hot water - Full size bath and shower - Spacious rooms - Beautiful property as a whole - Perfectly situated by the water and walking distance from city center Cons: NONE!!

"Great luxurious stay!"
AlinaMichael, 07 Mai 2022

We loved our stay at Ness Walk! The hotel is beautiful with the nicest staff. Breakfast and dinner were delicious! There is a parking and you need to order in advance (15 pounds). The room was big and modern.

"5 Star experience"
Guide29814765515, 26 Avril 2022

5 star experience from the start. What a beautiful hotel with amazing staff who truly care about the business. Arriving at the private gate you are shown to your parking space then taken directly into the hotel where a complimentary glass of champagne is offered. The reception team was very informative and explained all about hotel and surroundings and then we were shown to our amazing room. Breakfast was excellent and the bar area lovely for a few drinks. The dinner was five star, Ronan and team couldn't have been nicer and catered for gluten free with ease. We will be back very soon and thank you for having us. Brian and Amy McKinlay

"Nothing special"
william z, 23 Avril 2022

While a very nice accommodation, it lacks that certain something to make it stand out. The rooms are comfortable and quiet but are just missing that special touch. The restaurant is adequate, but some dishes like the lamb were very mediocre and the wine list was OK. The service efficient and friendly. The real problem is one of price/performance, and this just wasn't up to it.

"Brunch Summertide - overpriced disappointment"
206lucyr, 22 Avril 2022

Bruach Summertide Bar - Inverness tries and fails to do high end (high price) street food. Firstly it was freezing cold - not at all adapted to Highland weather. They need more heaters, blankets and windbreakers. The service was average and relatively slow. Most disappointingly though the food was below average and overpriced. I know tonight was their opening night but this place has a long way to go if it wants to be the front end of a 5 star hotel. It's just a bit embarrassing and classic Inverness. We politely complained about one of the mains (steak fries) - the steak was horrible and fatty and most of it inedible. The chicken wings were soggy too. A half apology, no discount, no free drink… the chef audibly saying “there's nothing I can do about that”. Overall a big, overpriced disappointment. There are so many more restaurants and bars in Inverness to visit before coming here. Avoid.

"A great stay."
Ewen M, 22 Avril 2022

Excellent from arrival to departure. First class service at every point of our stay. The room was fantastic, with scenic views out onto the River Ness. Great drink selection and bar staff very knowledgeable and happy to spend time talking you through the list.

"First Class."
phillip s, 19 Avril 2022

Second time for my wife and I, third time for my brother and his wife, first time for us was a good experience but this time thanks to some needed changes it was fantastic, really first class stay, beautiful rooms, wonderful polite friendly staff, beautiful food, we will all be definitely returning in the future for more of this great Hotel and staff. Mr & Mrs Saville.

"5 star luxury with 7 star service"
X9920FBbenv, 18 Avril 2022

From the moment we arrived we were treated simply amazing, we stayed in room no 209 and it was spotless. Every single member of staff we came across was the best I have seen in hospitality, professionalism, and they all acknowledged you every time they saw us. This is a great 5 star luxury hotel in a lovely location with 7 star service. The breakfast was excellent. It was my first time in Inverness and I will be returning to this hotel again, by far the best service I have ever had and I'm not easy to please. Big thanks again.

"Excellent Experience"
EF1812, 18 Avril 2022

Along with 2 friends I had a most enjoyable experience at Ness Walk Hotel recently. The welcome from Christina was warm and made us feel very special. We were superbly looked after by Zsolt in the lounge bar and by Marcus in the Dining Room. The ambience, service and food were all of the highest standard and could not be faulted. I highly recommend Ness Walk and will be returning soon

"Best in Inverness"
Colin F, 13 Avril 2022

First class stay in the heart of Inverness. Welcomed with a glass of champagne and exceptional service throughout. Food was exquisite. Secure car park with gated entrance. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Rooms are very fresh with tasteful decor. Looking forward to returning…

"A Perfect stay"
Misti66, 13 Avril 2022

We stayed here for one night before we started our NC500 trip. I wish we had stayed longer. Everything was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived until we checked out we were treated like superstars! The welcome was very warm and the complimentary glass of champagne was very much appreciated. Our room was wonderful, and absolutely spotlessly clean. We had everything we needed and the bed was really comfortable. The bar is nice with a fabulous range of drinks, and the staff very friendly. However the absolute highlight for us for the food! The quality, presentation and taste of everything we had was exceptional. The Raspberry Soufflé was truly to die for! Breakfast was also amazing. The chefs absolutely need awards! The only thing we didn't like was leaving. We will most definitely return. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

"Lovely relaxing stay"
afrl24, 12 Avril 2022

Fantastic service. Beautiful hotel. Food was great. Lovely relaxing stay as we started our NC500 trip. We were greeted with complimentary champagne and mocktails which was a nice touch. Dinner in the Torrish restaurant was delicious- especially the desserts! Would highly recommend and will definitely return!

"Road Trip 2022"
Blackfish365, 07 Avril 2022

Second time at this great hotel and just as good. Everything from the food to the staff are first class but I must say, the staff when we were there on a friends trip went beyond all expectations and could not have been more helpful. The rooms are comfy and if you get one on the ground floor you have a lovely terrace to have breakfast or drinks on when the weather is good.

We have just finished an amazing trip staying at ness walk The staff are so friendly and professional I have been very fortunate to stay in some amazing places around the world and this hotel and its staff are up there with the best nothing is ever too much of a problem And its excellent value for money for 5 star service and a great location for any car rally with secure parking for nice Cars If coming to the highlands it should be your first choice and the food is amazing as good as you get in any top restaurant so if you don't stay still go and eat you not be disappointed From the moment you arrive till departure, everyone will be polite helpful and just make your stay an amazing experience

"Top class and a well deserved 5 stars"
Mikey167, 31 Mars 2022

Beautiful hotel nestled on the banks of the river Ness, all the staff are first class, friendly, welcoming. Rooms are spotless, beds are super comfy and breakfast is good, we didn't dine in the restaurant as we had a booking elsewhere but have ate here on our last stay and the food was very good. It's the little touches that make this place, the greeting with a glass of champagne on arrival, the "welcome back" treats and chocolates in your room, the staff having a chat with you.

"Home away from home"
Michael C, 29 Mars 2022

We stayed here for one night on the 20th March. Much of what I would say has already been mentioned in the many other excellent reviews for this hotel and I do not wish to repeat these again. All the staff were really friendly and approachable. A special mention to a member of the concierge team (Csaba, I think his name was) and we got the impression that no job was too big for him. Breakfast was exceptional. The check-in process where a member of staff came to see you in the lounge area, whilst you had a glass of champagne was a brilliant touch. Next time we are in Inverness we will definitely look into staying at Ness Walk again.

My husband and I have just spent two days at this hotel . The staff were absolutely fantastic nothing was to much trouble for them . The young lady on reception was so helpful and went out of her way to make our stay perfect . Would highly recommend it . Will definitely be back . Thank you .

"Afternoon tea"
peneloped333, 28 Mars 2022

My husband and I had afternoon tea here on Monday, don't get me wrong the tea was excellent, the service great but…there was one other couple and ourselves, I believe the other two ladies were resident in the hotel and may have had a prior arrangement with the hotel but they were offered two glasses of champagne at the end of their tea, we were not. I appreciate there may have been extenuating circumstances I was unaware off but as we were seated near each other it was obvious they were getting the champagne for free. I know we were non residents but it should have been done much more discreetly. We felt our custom was less appreciated.

"Mother's day lunch"
helencB5423TI, 28 Mars 2022

From the moment we entered the River Ness; there was a very warm welcome from all staff. Staff very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. We had a delicious 3 course lunch. All food beautifully presented. We had steak: so tasty and cooked as asked. Puddings so yummy, and cheese and biscuits great selection. We had coffee in the lounge/bar, relaxing end to meal. Will definitely be back.

"Incredible meal and service"
MauveMM, 21 Mars 2022

I had a meal at Ness Walk on Saturday night and both the meal and service was outstanding. Rarely have I had such fantastic food and service outside of a major city. The service was welcoming and attentive without being overbearing and the food was incredible. Beautifully presented and delicious from start to finish. The surroundings are stylish and the location absolutely perfect. Overlooking the river, close to Eden Court and the city centre but in a lovely quiet spot. I very much look forward to my next visit to Ness Walk.

"Fabulous !"
Carole H, 20 Mars 2022

My daughter and I had an early evening meal here prior to a visit to Eden Court theatre located just along the road. The staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming and made sure our meal arrived without delay bearing in mind we had one eye on the clock. The dining room was comfortable with tables well spaced out and the food was excellent. I've been to Ness Walk before but it was a first for my daughter. The amuse-bouche was very tasty and the starters were fabulous. We enjoyed the main courses very much and decided on a dessert too, with an accompanying bottle of wine it wasn't an inexpensive meal but very much worth the money. You get what you pay for. Highly recommended - you shouldn't be disappointed. Thank you Ness Walk for a lovely start to our evening.

"Amazing service in beautiful hotel"
JH-23-45, 12 Mars 2022

Night one of a two night stay - blown away by the service and friendliness of all the staff. Before we arrived received a courtesy pre-checkin call to arrange dinner. On arrival was greeted and directed into the lounge area and provide with a glass of champagne for my wife and I. The lovely lady on reception then came over with our key and completed the checking in formalities all while we were comfortably seated and relaxed. Once ready we were shown to our room personally and provide with details about the bar and breakfast. Dinner was fantastic and all the staff were so helpful and attentive. Looking forward to the rest of our stay!

"Attention to detail - superb customer service - beautiful location - will most definitely return"
Traveler29164435371, 12 Mars 2022

The best service I have received in the UK. Absolutely spotless - our room had everything you would need and more - impeccable linen and a lovely comfortable bed. Our pre dinner cocktails were very good and dinner was sublime. We arrived early for breakfast- the only minor negative of our stay - I would have preferred better bread, sausages and mushrooms to go with the home made marmalade to make our stay excellent to make our stay out- standing a good Bloody Mary or fizz option at breakfast as we weren't driving !! Would have cinched it as our best ever hotel stay !! Will we go back most definitely.

"Fantastic stay from start to finish!"
gcampbell993, 11 Mars 2022

I was hugely impressed with my stay and the team at Ness Walk. The whole experience began a few days before with Grace from reception taking the time to phone me and make sure everything was set for my visit. It felt like a warm and genuine phone call with a focus on putting the guest first and not just a "tick-box" exercise for the sake of doing it. The rooms itself was great and after a long day travelling it was exactly what I hoped it would be - clean, inviting and a fantastic shower! The team of staff at the hotel were excellent and really epitomised what "Highland Hospitality" is, in my opinion. From the front desk and the concierge to the duty manager taking time to talk to us during our breakfast, it was clear to see that the hotel is invested in going the extra mile for its guests. Looking forward to being back soon! An experience like no other in the Highlands

"Simply outstanding."
markfE4930YG, 08 Mars 2022

From the minute you arrive the experience is superb. Checking in whilst sitting with a glass of champagne is something I can sure get used to! We ate in the restaurant on the Saturday evening- Michelin Star quality in a relaxed setting, the meal was right up there with the best I've ever had. Staff are friendly and welcoming, go out of their way to make you feel special. For example- this was our second visit- the greeting on arrival was "welcome back!" It can sometimes be difficult for hotels to get 5* right- Ness Walk manages the quality without being in any way pretentious. Ideal location, 10 minute walk from the centre of Inverness. We'll be back!!

"Special and Welcoming"
Scotdee, 07 Mars 2022

Just returned from a couple of nights staying at this amazing hotel. The staff are so welcoming, professional and engaging all the time. From driving into carpark, to welcome champagne, to the amazing and delicious dinner, afternoon tea and breakfasts, we were made to feel special by all the staff all the time. We stayed in a Laurel room and it was very quiet and luxurious with a beautiful bathroom. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend and will definitely be back soon. I would like to make a special mention to Marcus who in a group of amazing and outstanding staff always made time to speak to us and show interest in what we were doing for my birthday celebration. Thank you Ness Walk Hotel for a special birthday.

"Best hotel in living memory"
Gregalfa, 04 Mars 2022

Always wanted to stay but “covid” hit. Arrived unannounced yesterday(hadn't booked). Hotel Manager met me in car park. After a complimentary Champers I was upgraded to their best “oak” room (127) at no extra charge. All of the staff were lovely. Genuinely lovely. Food? Belly pork nice starter if a bit “chewy”. Venison Wellington decadent. Not a pudding person but raspberry souffle washed down with a glass of Tokai lovely. Slept poorly but unrelated to lovely room that had bath/shower and separate loo. Breakfast perfect and not excessive in portion size. Will be back if they have me!

"Perfect 5 Star Standards without being pretentious."
Stuart B, 01 Mars 2022

Never had we had such a polished, smooth, professional and friendly welcome. We said to each other before we even finished at check in that we would 100% be coming back. Never felt like that before.....amazing! Mark the concierge was the most thorough, professional, friendly we have ever come across, a real asset to the hotel. The room was delightful, well appointed and extremely clean. The restaurant service and food was amazing. The deconstructed lemon meringue was the best dessert I have ever had. The drinks made the Spanish bartender were amazing, a showman and very friendly, again a real asset to the hotel. We couldn't fault this fantastic hotel from start to finish. Becky and I cannot wait to return. Very well done to all of you. The Baileys

"Perfect hotel stay in Inverness"
JohnDonna2015, 23 Février 2022

This is our second visit to Ness Walk and from the moment you enter this beautiful hotel until you leave everything is 1st class . The staff are so friendly and helpful , the rooms are gorgeous , the beds are so comfy and perfect for a great night's sleep. The toiletries smell lovely too . Breakfast is just amazing especially the homemade marmalade!! The Scottish breakfast with the best scrambled egg was a perfect choice !! We really couldn't fault anything about this hotel…. Only thing was it wasn't a long enough stay. Hopefully be back soon!!

"5 star experience"
Keanna M, 20 Février 2022

Probably one of the best hotels I have stayed in Scotland. From the excellent bar tender who made us delicious cocktails to deputy manager Angus who gave us a lovely welcome. We stayed for 3 days and could not fault a thing, it definitely lives up to its 5 star rating. Big thanks to the head concierge Stephen who was so attentive and friendly throughout our stay. I will definitely be returning:)

"Genuine 5 star experience"
ellisonst1965, 18 Février 2022

Excellent hotel in great location. Staff are outstanding as are the rooms and food . Had cocktails in the bar , which were great. The bartender was able to prepare a superb whisky sour for me, even though it wasn't on the menu.Only place I'd consider should we return to Inverness

"Outstanding service!"
DNaguit21, 18 Février 2022

Fantastic and well mannered service from start to finish. We booked in a Valentine dinner at the Torrish in Ness Walk and was blown away by the service we received. I have been in many hotels with a "5" star status before but never have i been served like Kimberly and her team in Ness Walk. They have a really nice culture going within the hotel that made us felt relax. The ambiance matches the event and they were all friendly, well trained and have an excellent people skill. Usually having different servers can be a downside but they all served us with the exact same mannerism. They tell you what is in your plate as they serve it in front of you, they give you plenty time to enjoy your food and have a chat before coming back to make sure everything is ok. Always making eye contact and very professional at what they do. The menu had plenty of choices but not too overwhelming, let's say it is not your typical "hotel menu", food was absolutely delicious and was served in a timely manner, credit to the chef. An incredible experience that we never thought we would experience in Inverness. Ness Walk lives up and beyond their 5 star expectation and will highly recommend to others.

"Excellent stay, very nice staff"
Stephen B, 14 Février 2022

We stayed two nights at Ness Walk and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the standard of accommodation was excellent, and all the staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant. There is some room for improvement. A few guests did not wear masks, a legal requirement at the time of our visit, we never saw any of these guests being asked to wear a mask. The food in general was excellent but if you do not like fish or seafood the menu is very restrictive, the chicken dish on our first evening was un-inspiring. We stayed in an oak room which was lovely but the sound proofing was not good, we could easily hear our loud talking neighbours Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

"Perfect stay"
Gingerbelle, 13 Février 2022

Beautiful, calm and peaceful hotel with exceptional standards of service, accommodation and cuisine. Outstanding and friendly welcome from the whole team, notably upon arrival. Perfectly located for central Inverness (a short walk) and as a base for the Loch and the Highlands. Highly recommended

"Best Hotel in Inverness"
ChrisB01234, 09 Février 2022

Brilliant first class hotel in Inverness. Staff could not be better led by very capable management. Angus did a really first class job and the Concierge staff were excellent. Will definitely return to this hotel in future

"An exceptional Hotel in every way."
LoveScotland2022, 08 Février 2022

On our way North we experienced car trouble and limped into Inverness with a week's worth of food shopping and several bunches of flowers. On the recommendation of my Nephew we contacted Ness Walk in search of help and accommodation. Their response was breezy, accommodating and beyond helpful. A glass of champagne was thrust into our hands, the shopping was stored and the flowers put into water. Our room was beautiful, there was plenty of complimentary bottled water, it was incredibly clean and the area was really quiet overnight. The food in the restaurant was superb (including a very reasonably priced sumptuous Australian Shiraz) and every member of staff we met were brilliantly cheerful. We will be back!

"Fabulous people, amazing bedroom & great restaurant"
JohnMcCheshire, 04 Février 2022

2 night stay in an Oak room with views to the River Ness & garden courtyard. Well equipped room with all facilities you could want in a 5 star Hotel. At check in we mere met by Grace to be introduced to the Hotel facilities + a glass of champagne after a long journey. Friendly and helpful during our 2 night stay. The restaurant was very good with both my wife and I being fish eaters I had halibut and my wife had the hake . Both had delicious accompaniments which showed the chef had a good touch with his cuisine. Lewis & Kim who ran the floor were proficient as well as friendly. We had some vintage white with the fish which was not overpriced. Great experience and will be back in 2022. The only issue I have is to be charged for parking in such an establishment @ £15 per night when the Hotel control the entry & exit of guests & we were staying in a premium price room

"Incredible Stay"
T5652DGrobind, 28 Janvier 2022

I can't begin to say how wonderful a stay we had at the Ness Walk. From the incredible reception on arrival by an absolutely phenomenal front of house team to a stunning meal at night, this will be our go to getaway for the Northern Highlands. A truly Scottish welcome! The bedrooms were beautifully appointed and the views onto the River Ness just topped it all off!

"Relaxed, friendly seamless stay @ The Ness Walk (Amazing Electric vehicle set up !)"

The Ness walk hotel is so welcoming ! The staff are engaging, courteous, friendly. The food is excellent, you really have no reason to leave the hotel. This is a true 5 star establishment. They have definitely future proofed with having so many EV chargers on site. I Highly recommend this hotel for Business and leisure I definitely will be coming back with friends and family. Thank you Team Ness Walk

"Outstanding stay at Ness Walk Hotel."
davidcameron075, 27 Janvier 2022

I was one of a party of six that stayed at Ness Walk Hotel on Saturday night. Everything was beyond expectations. We were politely welcomed at the Car Park and had the best customer service throughout our entire stay here. The reception team were friendly and professional and assisted in every way they could. The room was immaculate and spacious, we all had a comfortable night's sleep. We all dined here in the evening and were pleased with everything from the efficient service to the quality, taste and presentation of all meals served and then again for breakfast the next day. There are options on the menu to suit all special dieatry requirements. We have all reccommended Ness Walk Hotel to friends and family since our stay and we all look forward to staying and dining here again. The hotel and setting is beautiful.

"Absolutely brilliant from arrival to checkout!"
AM909116, 26 Janvier 2022

Myself and my wife stayed for a couple of nights and were so impressed with all aspects of the hotel. All members of staff are so tentative to detail and made our experience out of this world. A young man named Lewis was very chatty and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was perfect.

"Overpriced and pretentious"
a98b89, 26 Janvier 2022

Average food at extortionate prices. Don't have anything positive to say about our visit here. Won't be back anytime soon. Made to feel unwelcome when voicing our displeasure. Such a shame as the potential is there. Parking is not what you come to expect at this level

"Stay at Ness Walk"
susanrobertson90, 08 Janvier 2022

The front of house staff here are outstanding, a warm and professional welcome makes you relaxed from the moment you arrive and throughout your stay a huge thank you to Stephen and the team. The room was equally lovely and had everything needed really appreciated the large bottles of water and the fridge. We ate at the restaurant and found the food a mixture of outstanding and ordinary service was fine. Breakfast was excellent despite a wee wait. We will definitely be back off season

"Perfect stay with wonderful staff and amazing food"
Allencap, 07 Janvier 2022

Stayed at this wonderful hotel for 2 nights just after the New Year. From arrival when we were greeted buy a very friendly concierge who after collecting our luggage from the car immediately brought us champagne. He escorted us to our room explaining all the hotels facilities on the way. We had upgraded our room to a Cedar King which was absolutely gorgeous. Huge bathroom with a separate toilet. Patio doors out to our own terrace which in better weather would have been fabulous. We dined in the hotel's restaurant on both nights. Food was if the highest quality as was breakfast on both days but I must say the highlight of the whole stay was the staff. Everyone so friendly and looked after us so well. Made our stay extra special. Thank you. We are already planning our return visit.

"Wonderful stay, incredible food!"
SVKB, 06 Janvier 2022

Gorgeous hotel in Inverness, about a 15 minute walk along the riverbank from the city centre. The staff were wonderfully welcoming, and very attentive, with a welcome drink upon arrival whilst we waited for our room to be ready. Room was beautiful, wonderfully cleaned (with a sticker on the door to indicate that it had been done and so no one else could enter, which was a good C9 touch I hope all hotels keep in place!). Opted for a Double Room with Garden View with a river/garden view. Very large room, huge marble bathroom, so comfy. Dinner: One of the best meals, truly brilliant kitchen team, every course was considered, and they must have some sold pastry chef's on their team because usually I am disappointed by the dessert course, but they really nailed it. I could have eaten here again and again (but sadly was only staying one night!). Breakfast: Good choice, lovely food, they had milk alternatives which is important, and overall an enjoyable start to the day/

"Afternoon Tea"
MairifA1335DP, 05 Janvier 2022

Myself and my friend attended for a fabulous Afternoon Tea at Ness Walk recently prior to having our little babies. From the wonderfully warm welcome, to the attentive table service, we were made to feel so welcome. The food was lovely, special attention given to even the smallest of details. We were given delicious ‘mocktails' to celebrate and looked after so well. We particularly enjoyed looking out onto a crisp winter garden and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a special treat.

"Lived up to expectations"
csdg27, 05 Janvier 2022

We had a great experience at Ness Walk. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean, and the staff were welcoming and attentive. The hotel is located roughly a 10 minute walk from the city centre, with plenty of pubs and restaurants a short distance away, so location is very good. The only time we ate in the hotel was for breakfast. The breakfast options aren't as extensive as other hotels we have visited but it was of high quality. Would recommend this hotel when staying in Inverness.

"Superb"
EF1812, 05 Janvier 2022

I had a lovely experience at Ness Walk Hotel on New Year's Eve. I was there along with friends and from the moment we arrived the welcome from all led by James and Marcus set the tone for the evening. Dinner in the Restaurant was faultless and the level of attentive but friendly service we received could not have been better I would highly recommend Ness Walk and will be back soon.

"Christmas at Ness Walk"
eestory, 26 Décembre 2021

Just having my final breakfast after the most wonderful stay at Ness Walk over the festive period. This hotel seriously has the WOW factor! I checked into a room in the first floor which overlooked the trees- almost felt like you were in the trees which was so peaceful. The bedrooms are large and spacious, and the attention to detail really gives a feeling of luxury. Within checkin and room my favourite features were the glass of champagne of on arrival, the arran aromatics toiletries, the illy coffee machine with fresh milk, the deep bath and the huge comfy bed! The staff couldn't have been more helpful- no ask was too big. The service truly was exquisite and genuinely felt they were so interested and invested in making a memorable guest experience. Last but not least- the food!!! So delicious! I dined a number of times o we the stay- my favourites were the scallops, the salmon and the fillet of beef. I only managed to take one picture but presentation standard was high. The chef is clearly talented and creative! I would highly recommend coming to Ness Walk for a stay anytime of the year- will definitely be back! Thank you Ness Walk! ❤️

"Heartwarming Hospitality"
Spager1, 26 Décembre 2021

My partner and I spent Christmas and Boxing Day weekend at the Ness Walk. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us like royalty, first welcoming us with a sit down and a glass of Champagne. Then we were guided to our very comfortable and well apportioned room in the Laurel wing. Host, Steve, was especially keen to provide a personal touch to our stay. While we were there the hospitality staff and concierge services assisted us with electrical adapters, de-icing our windshield, using the royal post, printing, and arranging taxis. The breakfasts and dinners were exceptionally prepared and presented with incredible service. Everything is well timed and focused on providing the best experience for the guests. Breakfast includes a buffet as well as a menu of prepared Scottish breakfasts. Additionally the hotel is situated on a quiet street adjacent to the Ness River and is a beautiful ten minute walk to city center. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone who needs a moment to be carefree and cared for.

"Excellent, clean, and comfortable hotel with a great location and great staff too!"
C R, 24 Décembre 2021

We had a wonderful time staying at the Ness Walk in the run up to Christmas 2021. The location of the hotel is excellent, placing us near to all of the sites in Inverness and being right next to the river too, with various walks and parks nearby. We received a warm reception from the hotel when we arrived and all of the staff were extremely friendly and polite whenever we encountered them, ranging from concierge, to waiting staff, and cleaning staff. Our room was well-appointed and felt brand new with modern, comfortable furnishings. The hotel was generally a very pleasant and cosy place to be, with a feeling of luxury. It was great to see that the TV in our room had Sky installed and also the ability to stream other services via the built-in Chromecast - why don't more hotels offer this, instead of the usual meagre channel offerings. Bonus points from me! It was also a useful touch to have the toilet accessible via a separate door from the bathroom / shower, so that both could be used by different people at the same time if required. The WiFi was free and worked well for us, allowing us to stream content from our phone to the TV. There was plenty of parking available, although we had travelled by train on this occasion. We had dinner in the hotel on one night of our stay and the food was excellent, catering for our vegetarian and vegan options. Once again, the waiting staff were friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed a few cocktails whilst we there (it would be rude not to), and the bar staff were very helpful too. We had breakfast in the mornings and this was great, with a range of options available. We did our check-in and check-out online and this was easy and effective, prompted by useful emails and instructions from the hotel too. Overall, we had a lovely, relaxing stay and we fully intend to visit the Ness Walk again in the future.

"AFTERNOON SIGNATURE TEA"
DINGWALLTRAVELLER, 20 Décembre 2021

From the moment of arrival to the moment we left the service in reception and restaurant could not have been more attentive. The surroundings and outlook were special and the afternoon tea itself a real treat. If you are looking for something out of the ordinary for yourself or a gift to family or friends I would really recommend the whole experience. Thank you Ness Walk for a great experience.

"Christmas Night Away"

Best hotel we've stayed in! Spent a lovely night at this hotel. Beautiful decor and furnishings. The staff were all friendly and attentive. The champagne on arrival is a lovely touch. Dinner was beautiful and breakfast offers a great selection. Will definitely be returning, soon I hope!

"Fantastic on every level!"

What an amazing find! We loved everything about this fabulous boutique hotel; the fantastic and spacious room, beautiful bar and lounge, idyllic riverside location which is walking distance to the centre of Inverness, friendly and caring staff and a wonderful destination dining restaurant! It was the best hotel during this trip and we will definitely be returning in 2022!

We love Ness Walk! Beautiful meal tonight, impeccable service from friendly & helpful staff. Lovely menu to choose from with local produce. Cooked to perfection. Gorgeous surroundings and beautiful decor. Well worth a visit. Christina and her staff will make you most welcome.

"Best of the best!"
kirker, 15 Décembre 2021

As a former professional hotel critic, it's safe to say I'm difficult to impress, but the Ness Walk did so in spades. I'd even go so far as to rank it in my top-three favorite hotels in Scotland! I only spent a single night there – after landing in Inverness en route to a drive along the NC500 – but every single aspect of the hotel's service was utterly flawless. The champagne upon arrival made for a fantastic first impression – especially following an unusually trying journey during these pandemic times – and the caliber of the hotel's accommodations is very legitimately five-star. My room was beautifully designed, with an incredibly comfortable bed & superb linens. I had both dinner & breakfast there as well, and both were wonderful; I particularly appreciated the emphasis on locally sourced foods, knowing the extent to which the pandemic has deleteriously affected global tourism. In what was definitely a first during my many years of travels, upon departure I discovered that they had washed my car – without me even requesting it! I apparently parked in a portion of the car park where birds sometimes congregate in the trees above, and my rental car received a fair amount of droppings from them. While washing my car wasn't at all necessary – the torrential rain I encountered the next day would've cleaned all of the droppings off regardless – it merely exemplifies the property's unequivocally outstanding caliber of service. Finally, I was surprised to receive this caliber of service for such a competitive nightly rate. While I admittedly visited in off-peak mid-December, it was still a remarkable bargain given the all-around quality of my stay. I had only a few quibbles with the place, none remotely important enough for me not to give it five stars. First, the property charges £15 per night for use of its car park. While it's admittedly on the small side, it's also well outside of the city centre – and also the only time I've been charged for on-site parking anywhere in Scotland outside of the likes of Edinburgh – and came off as a bit much. In a similar vein, the hotel has an excessively detailed list of individualised charges noted in each, up to & including one for the "do not disturb" door placard. Finally, I was slightly irked upon departure to discover that I'd been charged for a morning newspaper. Upon arrival I was asked if I wanted one the next day, and very much unlike the highly specific charges noted elsewhere, there was no mention that I'd be charged for it. Had I known, I would've declined; while I'm an old-school type who still prefers reading print newspapers, I already have a subscription to The Guardian's website, and would've read it on my iPad instead. (OTOH it was a mere two quid, so I certainly wouldn't have complained about it at checkout.) Altogether this all came off as a bit too much nickel-and-diming, as we'd say in America, and atypical vis-a-vis other five-stars in the UK. But, again, those are all trivial quibbles. I've stayed at other properties in & around Inverness, and the Ness Walk is hands down the best of the bunch (if anything I'm surprised it isn't the highest-rated Inverness hotel on this site). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

"Not quite a 5*"
pinkwindsor2015, 15 Décembre 2021

On arrival, we were forced to walk through a big group of smokers from a wedding party who were congregated around the entrance, which really wasn't pleasant especially as my husband has cancer. No-one met us until we had walked through the door and once we were given champagne, the smoke wafted through the door and spoilt what would have been a lovely experience as we could smell it very strongly. Our room (No 105) was fine, but it always had a housekeeping trolley near to it and the next morning, we were greeted by 5-6 of them parked nearby. Our room was also next to the lift and stairway so wedding guests woke us up a couple of times when they went to their rooms. I'm not too sure why we had been allocated that room but I felt that I couldn't say anything as our room had been secured with the cleanliness tape. There were a few hiccups at breakfast, no milk for our tea, no knives for our ordered breakfast, our ordered breakfasts were bought out when our dirty buffet plates hadn't been cleared away. All these details should be of 5* service but sadly, they didn't quite make it. Sadly, my husband and I left feeling undervalued and disappointed.

"Excellent stay!"
Wander56595051148, 14 Décembre 2021

We recently enjoyed a lovely two night stay at Ness Walk. We had heard great things about the hotel from friends and from the start the were not disappointed… The attentiveness of the staff was excellent throughout our stay, starting with Steve the concierge welcoming us with a complimentary glass champagne! Lovely spacious rooms and delicious food in Torrish, again with very high standards of service. On the second night we enjoyed some delicious cocktails in Bruach Wintertide - a stunning winter wonderland created within the grounds. Highly recommend!

"Ness Walk Idyll"
Loghus, 14 Décembre 2021

Ness Walk Hotel situated on the banks of the River Ness is a beautifully restored and sympathetically adapted period property set in the most charming location within the Highland capital. Concierge led us to our parking spot and greeted us by name! Reception was warm, welcoming and attentive. Do not miss out on this gem!

"What a wonderful Hotel"

This Hotel is absolutley lovely in all aspects! Very warm welcome and we had a lovely glass of champagne while we sat in the lounge and were checked in. When we were ready, we were shown to our room where there was a sealed sanitised sticker on the door. The concierge showed us around our room and where everything was. The room was immaculate, clean, tidy and had everything we needed with a few extras that were a nice touch. The grounds are lovely and very well maintained. The whole Hotel is immaculate, tidy, clean and very well kept. The staff are incredible, nothing was too much of an ask and they are all very well presented and very friendly. All the staff were brilliant but a special mention to Duncan in the restaurant who went out of his way to accommodate us and made time to talk to us each time. He even convinced my husband to try haggis! The bar area was very cosy and the bar staff were fun to watch making all of the drinks. There was a nice elegance to the bar and the Hotel itself. Its situated in a very convenient location, 15 minutes walk to the town centre and to Ness Islands and the Bontanic gardens. Its far enough away to avoid the noise but close enough you can walk to everything. There isn't anything negative i can say about this Hotel, everything was just brilliant. We will be back for another visit...just in a bit warmer weather! I would 100% recommend this Hotel, it may cost more than a standard hotel but its worth every extra penny!

"The best hotel in Inverness eon the river Ness"
JamesBondLosAngeles, 24 Novembre 2021

Well managed nice hotel which tries hard to make your stay comfortable. The hotel has a bit of an awkward layout and you must trek to your room. We recommend rooms on the first floor over looking the garden. A lovely breakfast is included. Daily maid service along with a turn down at night. Beautiful sheets and a very comfortable bed. Good value during the off season!

Spent 2 nights at Ness Walk Hotel, 2 nights stay we will never forget, from check in till check out we were treated like royalty, glass of champagne on arrival was a lovely touch. Hotel, food and staff were outstanding, we ate in the Torrish restaurant both nights. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay first class. Will definitely be back, would highly recommend.

A very warm and friendly welcome. Staff were only too eager to please. The superior room that we had was very spacious and well equipped with everything you need. Breakfast was lovely. We will be back.

"Delightful hotel"
AliM4952, 22 Novembre 2021

Just back from a weekend visit and have nothing but praise for the hotel and its staff. All those with whom we came into contact were charming, attentive and helpful. The champagne on arrival is a lovely way to start your stay. It made check in very relaxing and unhurried. The room was spacious and immaculately clean. We had a lovely view of the courtyard and the river which even the rain didn't spoil though the umbrella provided came in very useful. We had dinner in the hotel before going to the theatre and it was exceptional. If we hadn't been heading out we would definitely have had 3 courses. We certainly hope to return soon

"Mediocre no matter what Conde Nast says"
Frank M, 21 Novembre 2021

Runaway, don't walk to Ness Walk. The lack of some services and good parking took the luster off of our stay along with the price not matter what Conde Nast says. While concierge service and some restaurant services were exceptional, housekeeping and laundry were NOT. Do NOT have laundry done here. I sent over $150 worth of clothing to be laundered only to have some pieces missing and the white closing turned GREY! Management was so kind in explaining that this was one of their vendors and never had any trouble with them. The sent the the white color back to be redone and it still came back GREY and never found the other clothing. For all of this, I received $13 in credit. A slap in my face.

"5 star visit"
elainerC6675ZT, 17 Novembre 2021

Spent a wonderful few days at Ness Walk in one of the Oak Rooms A welcome glass of Champagne whilst our luggage was taken to our room was a 5 star touch We managed to sneak a hot punch in the Bruach tent before we headed along the river The Torrish restaurant in the evening provided tasty Scottish cuisine with a twist & had a lively atmosphere. Breakfast had a lovely selection of hot freshly cooked food as well as a Continental buffet. The Rocpool restaurant just a short walk along the river was also very good Hotel staff were courteous & friendly & can't wait to return

"Can't wait to go back!"

We got engaged during our stay at Ness Walk and it was perfect ❤️ The hotel is beautiful and staff are always on hand to greet you with a smile and happy to help. Food and drinks are excellent and the glass of champagne on arrival is a lovely touch. We stayed in room 131 on the first floor overlooking the courtyard and river. Absolutely deserving of its 5 stars! We look forward to visiting you again!

Had the best couple of days in the hotel. Staff are most helpful and all very happy to oblige even the most silliest of questions. The food is excellent and very well presented in lovely surroundings.

"Exceptional Service !! Well Done"
Passenger764675, 15 Novembre 2021

FIRSTLY ! I don't ever feel the urge after a stay away from home to write any review either positive or negative but in this case I just could not ignore the urge to give praise where praise is rightfully due. From the welcome at the main door on arrival from Mark and Steve we were completely put at ease. Such a warm welcome thank you !! Hotel is immaculate, our room was lovely, cocktails divine and a relaxed dining experience. We will be returning very soon !! I MUST say a massive thank you to Steve for taking the time and going out of his way to make sure all our multiple questions were answered. He could not do enough for us and made the whole stay such an enjoyable experience and has made Ness Walk our number 1 go to hotel!! Well worth the drive for us. See you very, very soon .

"Exceptional!"
Suzanne M, 11 Novembre 2021

Following our recent two night stay we highly recommend this hotel. Despite the pouring rain outside a very warm welcome was extended to us together with a complimentary glass of bubbly. Customer service and attention to detail was evident throughout. Excellent accommodation, food and location. We would highly recommend this hotel.

"1st class stay"
AndreaH12345678, 11 Novembre 2021

We recently spent a night at the amazing Ness Walk. We couldn't fault our stay. An excellent location only minutes from the city centre but set in a beautiful location overlooking the river ness. The service was exemplary from the moment we arrived. Every single detail has been thought about in order to make you very comfortable. Our room was very comfortable with everything you could need for your stay. Food and drinks were excellent. Breakfast, in particular, was a standout for us. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering a stay in Inverness. We can't wait to go back.

"OUTSTANDING FIRST VISIT"
Elaine C, 11 Novembre 2021

The hotel has a high standard to live up to and it certainly did. Nice touch with the champagne welcome starting our visit. Breakfast choices were excellent with buffet and inventive cooked options. Room was spotless and very comfortable. The location by the river gives a very relaxed feel to the hotel. Also thanks to the staff who were all very friendly and efficient and hit the balance between being professional and relaxed very well.

"Signature Afternoon Tea"

Absolutely delightful experience to indulge in an afternoon with a good friend. The attention to detail was superb - the presentation, choice and tastes. Combined with the attentive staff could not be more accommodating. Thank you

"First Class Experience"
grahamn515, 09 Novembre 2021

My wife and I were fortunate enough to attend a fantastic wine dinner at the impeccable Ness Walk Hotel recently. We were treated superbly well throughout the evening and the food was absolutely first class. We waited for our taxi with a cognac in the front room and could have stayed for the rest of the evening!! All in all a tremendous experience and we look forward to returning.

"Fabulous Hotel"
Sunshine39London, 04 Novembre 2021

A fabulous hotel in Inverness. Great location overlooking the river. We received a wonderful warm welcome on our arrival along with a welcome glass of champagne. A special mention to the excellent concierge, Stephen and also to Grace on reception who was particularly helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Beautiful rooms, delicious food, fabulous atmosphere. Would highly recommend and hope to come back one day soon.

"Relaxing Getaway"
LynneMo7, 03 Novembre 2021

The service was excellent from the second we arrived, all of the staff were amazing and very friendly. We were given a very warm welcome from the excellent concierge, Mark, who gave us an overview of the hotel and when we were ready, he showed us to our room. The welcome champagne when we arrived and the chance to pre select our wine for dinner was a lovely touch. Our Oak Room was beautiful, with all the finishing touches that you would expect from a 5 star hotel, and very well appointed. We tried the Halloween special cocktails as our pre-dinner drinks, they were brilliantly prepared and served by Zsolt, Bar Manager. Dinner was delicious - the food is superb and the service to match, led by the very talented Ronan and Marcus. A nightcap in the bar area after dinner was a treat, in a lovely relaxing atmosphere. Sadly, we had an early start so missed out on breakfast, but it looked great...next time! Thanks Team Ness Walk, a gem in the Highlands.

"Outstanding Service..."
bmcn2015, 01 Novembre 2021

I travel to many 5 star hotels and have to say that the service received at this hotel - was one of the best. Grace - the receptionist was particularly helpful and made me feel very welcome and making sure that I was very well looked after.

"Special spot on the river ness"
windy1875, 31 Octobre 2021

Fantastic hotel with equally fantastic staff. Welcome glass of champagne on arrival with brief overview of hotel and then to our room, which was fabulous. We enjoyed every time we walked into the room to the very special view. Breakfast was delicious with selection of continental to start followed by your choice of hot selection, the eggs benedict were delicious. Enjoyed having a drink at the bar before dinner and again the bar staff were fantastic a real credit to the hotel. We will be back ☺️

"Five stars in every way"
Sara C, 30 Octobre 2021

Ness Walk is an outstanding hotel. Very welcoming and cosy. The rooms are furnished to a high standard and absolutely spotless. The menu is varied, delicious and well presented. The staff however are what put Ness Walk at the top of my list of amazing hotels. The staff are amazing Everyone we met during our stay was brilliant, helpful and kind.

"Outstanding hotel"
Russell I, 29 Octobre 2021

Outstanding stay at Ness Walk Hotel. Very high quality bedrooms, beautiful lounge, bar and restaurant and impeccable and genuine service and hospitality from all the team. We had a private dinner and the quality of the food, wines and service was first class. Very highly recommended for a stay in Inverness.

"Five Star Experience"
dkazusa, 29 Octobre 2021

This new hotel is outstanding in every respect. It's stylishly decorated. The accommodation is comfortable and inviting. The staff is helpful, professional and capable. The food is among the best through our trip. The chef is talented and creative, but does not over-engineer the use of high quality ingredients. I appreciate that - food is tasty and beautifully presented. It's a five star experience!

"Very Nice Stay"
missdcrippin, 28 Octobre 2021

We arrived after a long journey and were greeted by Marcus in the car park. Shown to Lounge with a comp glass of fizz (very nice welcome|) and Grace checked us in. Room was lovely, view not but quiet enough. Complementary water and a fresh coffee machine are a bonus as was the robes and slippers. The veluxe windows were not the easiest to open and we were not shown how they worked on arrival. We had an issue with the bedding as it was dirty. They acknowledged this and sent a bottle of fizz which was a lovely gesture. Bed nice and comfortable Lovely bath products and a decent hairdryer. Breakfast was delicious and plenty to choose from as we were here for 3 nights it was good to sample some off the menu. Staff are very friendly and happy to help. Carparking is gated and £15 daily Its a good 15 mins to the centre but the walk by the river more than makes up for it.

"Superb hotel"
bja_515253, 27 Octobre 2021

A visit for afternoon tea that was truly spectacular. From our arrival and greeting from Mark, to our experience during the most exquisite afternoon tea, the Ness walk hotel was a wonderful place to enjoy the perfect afternoon. Amy looked after us so well throughout our visit, making sure we had everything we needed and explaining the menu perfectly. She chatted about the history of the hotel, kept us topped up with tea/coffee and even arranged for us to have a look at one of the hotel rooms. Angus gave us a mini tour of one of the beautiful garden rooms as well as the private function room-both of which were superb. We cannot thank the hotel staff enough and would highly recommend a visit here. The outside bar/cocktail area looked amazing. We will definitely be back.

"A Real Pleasure"
DS439, 27 Octobre 2021

This was our first visit to the hotel and it turned out to be a real pleasure. A great location overlooking the river and yet peaceful being away from the city centre. We stayed for five nights and the hotel is situated well for touring about, whether on foot locally or further afield by car. The facilities are excellent and very clean, which is reassuring at this time. The room was large with good quality furnishings plus bathroom and separate toilet all en-suite. Food was brilliant with an outstanding breakfast and a good selection of evening dinner choices. The bar has a great selection of drinks and also has an outside feature tent at weekends. In our opinion, this is one of the best hotels in Scotland for comfort and enjoyment, which is complimented by the outstanding team who are so welcoming, caring and focus on every attention to detail. We will be back.

"Wonderful hotel and staff"
Ken M, 19 Octobre 2021

Stayed here as part of our anniversary trip to Scotland and was very pleased with the hotel and the staff - excellent. We were on the ground floor and had a small "patio" area outside the door from our room - although it was too wet to use, but that's not the fault of the hotel lol. All the staff were absolutely wonderful - so friendly and helpful - really did help to make our trip that much more enjoyable. Our room did have a bath and a shower. We also had afternoon tea here and it was really lovely - I'd thoroughly recommend it. They also do some wonderful cocktails - always a bonus for me. The restaurant food is wonderful too.

"Wow! High level of service in a relaxed and welcome environment."
soosieq3, 17 Octobre 2021

What a fantastic start to our bucket list tour of the Highlands. We were greeted by Mark and Kirsten who made us feel most welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Our two night stay was amazing with impeccable service, food and welcome. The only downside is that we had not booked more nights. We will definitely be returning. A big thank you Ness Walk to all your hard working staff who made our stay feel so special. We highly recommend The Ness Walk Hotel to anyone planning a visit to the Highlands.

"The most amazing stay"
Shannon G, 16 Octobre 2021

If you're looking for 5* quality and treatment then this is the hotel for you. We stayed here on our wedding night and from the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were treated with top class service. On arrival we organised breakfast in bed for the morning and it arrived promptly at 8am as promised and Csaba who served it, was nothing short of fantastic, so polite and couldn't do more for us if he tried. The room was spectacular with a view of the beautiful gardens with the most comfortable bed and the extra touches such as a proper coffee machine and sky TV make all the difference. I can guarantee that a stay in this hotel wont disappoint and you'll leave feeling like VIPs.

"Amazing Autumn Break in Inverness"
Mitch59, 14 Octobre 2021

I booked the 'Autumn Cocooning Break' which included a two night stay, breakfast each day with Afternoon Tea one day and Dinner one evening. This was really good value and we really enjoyed our time in Inverness. I checked in online prior to arrival, so this made everything so easy. Arriving at Ness Walk, we were greeted and shown to a car parking space. After parking the car, my wife and I were taken through to the lounge and served a lovely glass of chilled champagne and asked to relax and take our time . . . an excellent touch and a great way to start our break. Once our champagne was finished, we were shown to our room (a Laurel Room) which was lovely, clean, comfortable and included a mini bar and pod style coffee machine. We chose to have our Afternoon Tea on Saturday and this was excellent, two different cake stands, one savoury the other sweet and the offerings were tasty and perfectly accompanied by loose leaf tea of your choice or speciality coffee if you prefer. Sunday evening was Dinner in the Torrish Restaurant. The food was superb and the choice of wine outstanding. Although the package included dinner, we found two courses were more than enough. The service was very attentive without being overpowering. My wife and I had a very enjoyable evening. Breakfast choice each day was also very good and we found everything we wanted and another fuss free and relaxing meal, Our stay was very relaxing and being so close to the city centre, we were able to walk every where which was a delight. We also wandered away from the hotel on Sunday morning after breakfast and crossed at the Ness Islands and came down the other side of the river into town. I can't praise the hotel facilities, friendly staff and location highly enough. If you fancy a quality break in Inverness, then look no further than Ness Walk.
