Look like bugs in the tub. They only provide us one towel in a king room as though it wouldn't be two people in there the night staff was amazing, the breakfast is mediocre. I will never book at this location again.
Great staff! Very clean rooms and common areas. Friendly and courteous employees during every interaction. Will definitely be staying here again. Close to airport for ease of travel when coming or going from the Atlanta area. Just outside the hustle and bustle but close to major routes.
Hotel rooms need updating.Hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. The smell in the room was very nauseating, smelled like deodorant applied to carpet to disguise cigarette smell!!!!If I go to the are again hopefully I can find a newer hotel!!!
The staff were amazing! For the price we paid, this place is amazing! They are willing to do their best for their customers. Had a nice stay here. Will do it again.
Was pleasantly surprised on how great this hotel was from the service, to the cleanliness, to the great breakfast. The staff is outstanding and the location is perfect being right off the interstate and close to some restaurants and of course the Georgia Renaissance Festival. I would recommend this hotel to others. However, stay away from the Cracker Barrel down the street, it sucked big time. Would never go there again.
Great location and the staff was awesome. The rooms were clean and the breakfast offered a large variety of items. I would stay here again.
We stayed here for the Georgia Renaissance Festival. The beds did not sleep well, the pool was closed and we stayed confined to our room with towels under the door in an effort to reduce the weed smell. It was clear there was an excessive amount of it being used. We finally ended up leaving the hotel and coming home the same night and losing our money. We will not be back.
All the staff go above and beyond breakfast is amazing diara miss Denice and kanarina as well as the women who runs the breakfast in the morning is amazing I would definitely recommend I've been here for a while in 403 and have never had any problems the hotel is always clean housekeeping is great and it's an all around great environment they treat me and my family great thank you guys
Exceptional General Manager and staff, they made our stay the wonderful experience it was. The General Manager has a hands on approach with both the staff and customers. She has done an excellent job in hiring staff that are committed to the excellence and customer service that was offered each encounter. We were here for 2 nights and every encounter was excellent! Special shout out to General Manager Kanarin, Front desk Shana, night front desk Lavita and sadly we didn't get his mane but the maintenance man was beyond helpful and sweet! Housekeeping was also very kind and helpful. Rooms clean and breakfast was good. Overall great experience and we'll be back!
It was a nice hotel. I believe it was fairly new. Very clean room and comfortable beds. The room was very spacious. There is a lot of parking available. The hotel is located in a good area. I had such great night of rest. Customer service was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again
Everyone from the ones that cleaned your room all the way up to the General manager showed how they care about their guest and tend to your needs. They are helpful and understanding if something was wrong the made sure it was fixed right away. Then offed a warm apology and thank you
The rooms were great!! The staff went over and above to accommodate us. We were traveling with a bus tour and had problems with our bus. They went out of their way to help us and accommodate us in this situation. Katerina was awesome!! Highly recommend this hotel!!
My wife and I have been stayed here several times this year and have loved it every time. I highly recommend the Executive King room. Nice bathroom with large walk-in shower. Rooms have always been impeccably clean and the staff have always been courteous, pleasant and very helpful.
This hotel was perfect for me. Convenient location off I85, looked new, clean, and aesthetically pleasing, very pleasant staff, good comfortable rooms. I wish I had a reason to stay a second night that's how much I liked it. Definitely recommend.
First I have to say, Best Western Fairburn, Atlanta, is my home away from home. I am most welcomed here. And the staff, Silvia, recognizes me and remembered my name on sight!!! She made sure I had everything squared away with my reservation being extended and check out, as well as accommodating other questions I had. Lavita, had served up scrumptious real food, and real EGGS, and even gave us a bonus Cinnamon Bun on Saturday. Aramis looks out for my night requests for extra pillows and needs. Kenarina made sure my extension reservation was placed and secured so I wouldn't forget about it at 2 am in the morning, while Kevin greeted me outside while keeping the flowers beautiful, watered, and green!! I love this place and I love the staff. I feel like this is family. Even the cleaning and maid service staff are amazing! So I just wanted to say thank you to everyone, including anyone I may have forgotten, even Harry, who I didn't see this time, for being so hospitable. Best Western Plus Fairburn, is the only place I stay whenever I come to visit Atlanta. And I plan to keep it that way!!!
Front Desk Staff are never there & will not respond when needed! Hotel allows dangerous situations to happen in the parking lot & lobby! Pillow cases were left of pillows when arrived & room was never Cleaned while staying there… This is NOT a safe place to stay!
(I booked this hotel for 4 nights as a visitor traveling in from Texas.) I thought it would be a convenient location because it was located close to Hartsfield Atlanta airport, and because the online info: reviews were good, the photos looked good, they offered free parking, and offered all the amenities I personally require during a hotel stay. But I quickly learned, College Park area is no where I wanted to be for long or overnight. Upon my arrival, The hotel had at least 4-5 homeless & mentally ill people sitting around on the property at the front entrance and camped out in various places in the parking lot(red flag #1). Front desk women were not welcoming upon my arrival, or even when I called ahead of time on the phone to get some information when I landed at the airport (Red flag #2). I actually checked out early, actually the same day, in less than 5 hours after checking in, I left because I did not feel safe because of a strange incident that took place only hours after I checked in. A random Hispanic man came knocking at my door with a cart. I asked him how I could help him several times through the closed door, and he kept responding in some jibberish or foreign language. He never once said I'm maintenance or Housekeeping. He just kept responding in some jibberish or foreign language, anytime I said something to him. It was very strange (red flag #3) I finally told him Goodbye and he needed to leave, but he just kept standing at the door refusing to leave (red flag #4). So I called the front desk and the young lady said he was there to fix the key battery on the door. I immediately thought that was strange because I had used the keycard a few times already since checking in and it was working perfectly fine. I also thought it was strange that the front desk didn't try to give me a courtesy call first to let me know they were sending someone or if the key card device was indeed defective, why they didn't have it fixed before my arrival (red flag #5) Because I didn't feel safe opening the door or trust what I was being told, I let the front desk lady know that I would not be opening the door and that the key card is currently working fine, and because I didn't feel safe and they didn't notify me beforehand, they would have to wait to fix it after I finished my stay and that they needed to contact the guy and make him leave my room door. Finally he left! I immediately started looking for a new hotel and checked out a couple hours later.
The worst hospitality experience I've ever had. I was in town for a family member's funeral which was unexpected. I paid for my room in full at the time of booking however I was charged twice which resulted in my account being overdrawn. Spoke with the front desk manager by the name of Kanarina, I ask her to acknowledge that her staff didn't do their job even though on two occasions during my stay I told them my room was paid for in full. She displayed horrible customer service with absolutely zero displays of empathy or respect. She stated that mistakes happen and o agree but this isn't how you speak to customer in the hospitality industry. completely unprofessional. This is one of the reasons why I prefer Air Bnb instead
This hotel is a good choice for a clean place to stay. The price is fair. It is close to the highway and there are plenty of lunch and dinner options near by. The fitness center has enough equipment for a decent workout. They provide a complimentary breakfast.
There were a few things wrong in my room, leaking refrigerator, broken clock, internet connection, toilet flushing, curtain not opening properly, but the biggest disappointment, was the tiny black bugs near the microwave and on the table by the bed. I asked another quest about the bugs and they stated that they hadn't seen any, so I thought it was an isolated incident. Luckily I was out of the room for the majority of my stay. I almost forgot that the ice machine on my floor did not work.
When I have Family/Friends in town visiting, I always book their accomodations here at Best Western Plus Fairburn. Also, this location is near my home and easy access. Harry at the front desk was very helpful and nice. The staff here is always nice and willing to help.
This h0tel is great the staff is very friendly and professional. The rooms are clean and spacious. We always stay at this location. It's convenient to plenty of eateries and is in a quiet neighborhood.
The hotel is great. Good hot breakfast, pool and fitness center. Staff is friendly and the hotel is in a great location with shopping and food. The bed was comfortable. Parking is free. They have good cable channels.
This was a one day stay while I traveled for work. It was okay, but the floor was terribly dirty/sticky. Everything else was clean. Air conditioner did not work properly. Internet was worse than any other hotel I've been. So, if you need to use the internet for work while you stay, I'd recommend elsewhere. Other than that, the staff were friendly and I have no other major complaints.
I stayed over a long weekend. I would never come back to this one unless management changed. The staff was nice but you could tell management was skimping every where. There were signs saying that that cleaning service only happened on your third day of stay because of Covid...yet no signs of masks and the hand sanitizing pumps were empty and dry. Changing towels was a nightmare. I felt that I had to beg for clean towels. Breakfast was poor. Pool is only 3 feet deep. This is not a BW plus.
Great hotel! The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and neat. We could have had more towels, but that wasn't a big problem. The only problem was that breakfast ended at 9 am which was extremely too early.
I stayed for a night and my stay was great. The staff was great at check inn and check out. The rooms were clean the hotel was quiet. I got a great nights rest. I did not take advantage of the breakfast. The location is in a great area with restaurants with in walking distance. I would stay again.
Clean room, very nice reception when arrived. Always friendly staff. Hotel lobby was set up user friendly. The pool area is clean and so is the training center. I would stay here again for future travel in the area. Recommend anyone to stay here.
My family and I decided to take a trip to GA for a few days. When searching hotels the BW popped up and the price for 2 rooms for 2 nights were incredible!! The place was well kept the location was great!! We were surrounded by beautiful scenery and tons of eateries!! Will definitely be booking here again!!
I wanted a nice hotel with an indoor pool and hot breakfast for my family while traveling. So I called the hotel number to get reservations and asked if they had an indoor pool and hot breakfast before I booked. They said, Yes, we do. I asked more specifically, if the pool would be open for our children to swim (my reservation was for the very next day.) and will the hot breakfast be available? The lady told me yes for both answers. So I booked it. We arrived the very next day. The pool was closed the entire time we were there. The breakfast was pitiful at best. The breakfast was supposed to be available until 9 am. When our family got to the breakfast area at 8:30, there was one apple, some juice, 3 boxes of milk and one yogurt, three toppings for oatmeal, coffee, condiments, about a 1/2 cup scrambled eggs, link sausages and rock hard biscuits . (No grits, no oatmeal, no waffle/pancake mix, no muffins, no danishes, no toast...) At about 8:50, they put out a few Tator tots but at 9am sharp, she was taking everything back up. A young boy and his dad came down while we were in the lobby. The young boy asked the lady in the kitchen about the “Gluten-free” breakfast alternatives advertised on the website. She told him the only thing they have gluten-free was the eggs and sausage. He left looking disappointed. This hotel is not very well managed in my opinion. I can't imagine anyone wanting to go back to stay after staying one time. I paid $140 (plus tax and fees) thinking the kids would get to swim in the pool and we could have breakfast without leaving the hotel. I waisted my money and had some very disappointed children. I did not make my complaints known to the hotel staff because they were aware of all of this. What good would it do? I am writing this review in hopes it will help someone else to know these things before they book and can't get their money back when they realize there was false advertising/information regarding what this hotel offers.
A great choice for the Renaissance Faire or just a stay in the area. We had two King rooms and they were very clean and comfortable. Good breakfast, great indoor pool, and very close to lots of nice restaurants. It was also a very quiet hotel with excellent blackout curtains. Looking forward to next year's stay.
Friendly staff, clean room. Shower rod not installed properly, preventing shower curtain from providing coverage to keep water inside shower. Dark colors in hall carpet give overall feel of old and dirty.
First of all I didn't like the fact we had to bring dirty towels down to get clean ones. Upon arrival the front desk person told us they did not have housekeeping. We stayed there for 4 days without getting our room cleaned. The room smelled musty and like weed. Some of the front desk did not greet us at all. The breakfast was good though especially the biscuits.
Good location and an average price. Our room was not properly cleaned, and the breakfast was disappointing. There is only one elevator for the whole building, which seemed dangerous in the case of emergency.
I stay here often whenever I go to Atlanta and they never disappoint. Good customer service, clean rooms and convenient location. I travel often and stay at Best Westerns and this is one of the most comfortable. I will definitely stay again
This was my first stay in a hotel that wasn't a small extend stay or something by the freeway. I loved the location in comparison to the places we wanted to visit and the employees were very nice. I would definitely go back.
I choose this hotel after reading their good reviews. My stay was great, clean rooms, all amenities worked, good selection for breakfast. For someone who likes fresh fruit for breakfast, I would have like to see more fruit than just apples.
This hotel meets all my expectations as a business traveler who lives 3 hours away from the ATL. It's conveniently located next to 24-hour RaceTrac. Lots of parking space. Fairly priced neat comfortable rooms and cooked breakfast.
The staff makes you feel so welcome, like family. We love staying here. They are great with the kids and really make it feel like home. This is the only place we stay when we are in town. Thank you Best Western Plus!
Due to Covid I was not able to get my room cleaned daily. Harry one of the front desk night clerks was super nice and very helpful. Breakfast was good, overall the hotel was clean but dated. My biggest complaint was the ice machine on my floor was out of order. I would stay her again when in ATL.
Beautiful place and the breakfast was amazing. The room was spacious and clean. It was a bonus that the hotel was surrounded by gas stations and great places to eat as well for those late minute items.
Came in super-late on a long road trip, front desk (I think his name was either Harry or Henry) was awesome. I came in with a bunch of Best Western gift card numbers and he patiently plugged them all in, got me the discount and checked me in. Good night sleep in a decent hotel, can't comment on much else.
Repeat stay. I was at this hotel a year ago. Room was very clean. Everything worked. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet even though the hotel is right off a busy road. They serve a hot breakfast that is filling. Gas station right next door. Wendy's across the street. At least a dozen places to eat within a mile of the place. I'll be staying there next year when I come back to town.
The room was decent - not large but ok, with all the standard amenities. Breakfast experience was horrible. We arrived to the breakfast area to discover that they have already run out of coffee, eggs, sausages and plates. There were no bread or bagels served at all. The attendant seemed indifferent to the lack of items (although it was more than half an hour before breakfast closing time and people kept arriving). We left the hotel hungry.
It had great to go breakfast items. Staff were attentive and polite. Good amenities with indoor pool, outdoor patio and gym. Smoke free environment. Plenty of parking spots available. Great location..
Overall I enjoyed my stay with my daughter's we ate at the local restaurant near by. They enjoyed the pool. We enjoyed our visit minus the noise and distractions from total relaxation. I woul say a 8 out of 10.
This was a short stay and it was a good experience. I needed rest before I started my trip the next day and had no issues with noise or an uncomfortable room. The lady at the front desk was very pleasant.
The hotel rates are very affordable and staff very hospitable and friendly oriented. This is my 6th stay at the hotel this year and I would not want to seek for another. And even though Covid has had an adverse impact in the hotel industry, this particular establishment far exceeded any of my expectations.
The first room they gave us smelled like smoke even though it was labeled nonsmoking. When I went downstairs to alert them of the smell, they immediately upgraded us with no questions asked. As if they knew the room was smokey.
My family loves to stay at this hotel. It is always clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We are regulars at this hotel. We love to use the indoor pool. We have never had a complaint abut cleanliness or staff. Kudos to the management.
I called for directions I was on hold 8 minutes. I got there at 6:36 pm, was not checked in until after 7. I was upgraded and told I was being put somewhere quite, NOT the case at all. I heard everything inside an out. This does not look, feel or resemble a Best Western Plus. Room 405, had not obviously been dusted in days. Carpet was torn and unraveling, did not lay under the sheets they didn't look as if they were changed or either Housekeeping needs training . I was not happy I felt I was at a Rodeway or Super 8 Motel. I love the design of the shower. I came for Wedding but I understand why no one stayed at Best Western but me. Carpet need Vacuuming; I was there Friday through Sunday walked past same pike of crumbs in hallway three days straight. I'm extremely disappointed especially after going to a BWP in a different country and there cleaning was consistent and up to Plus/Premier standard. Customer service was good but Quality was not good. Suggested for sports events, male getaway, emergency shelter or overnight rest.
Whoa.... terrible experience. Checkin: Sour, unsmiling clerk Room: Had to mop tile floor myself (pancake syrup all over?) So sticky my shoe stuck to floor and I tumbled out! Clerk offered us a mop to clean it. I used a face cloth. 4 sheets of toilet paper and no extra roll Mud/cigarette butts littering the pool table area Elevator filthy NOISE BEYOND BEARABLE. Music w/deep base playing and people talking and laughing till 2:30 a.m. Clerk heard tapping something metal on door across the hall to quiet ppl, man next door came out into hallway and screamed, "STOP THE *** MUSIC AND NOISE." NO food for breakfast, only 4 juices in refrigerator. Sheets put on bed inside out....
Very friendly lady at front desk. Told me about when the coffee and grab and go breakfast bags would be ready. Then told me how to get to my room. It is just as nice as most Best Westerns. The bathroom counter was a little worn and they do need more towels stocked. But I would definitely stay again.
After check in at 9:30pm we noticed the room being very loud from nearby guests. After 10pm there appeared to be no change in the noise. Placed a call to front desk and about loudness and after 30 min still no change. Lots of music loud tvs and guest constantly in and out of rooms slaming doors till 1:30am. Walls are very thin. Only appeared to be one female staff member visible at check in and was obviously unable or cared to control quiet hours. Sleep was difficult and we had to be back on the road by 7:30am. Only reason I entered 2 out 5 vs 1 out of 5 was that the cleanliness of room was ok and location.
You are greeted by the smell of weed when entering the hotel. We had to ask to change rooms due to noisy neighbors and their risky behavior at 1 am. Still there was way too much activity at 1am-3am. There are other hotels nearby that are probably a much better choice.
All the complimentary breakfast was, was 2 pastries wrapped in plastic in a mini fridge. Not even juice or coffee were provided, complete joke. There are so many options to provide even with covid regulations in place! Room clearly has not been cleaned... don't even want to know what was all over the lamp by the bed... to top it off the gym and pool closed at 9. So if your there for business like I was good luck even getting to check it out with it bit even waiting until 10 to close. The uncomfortable bed and two tiny flat pillows the provide did nothing but leave me with sleepless nights and back pain. Won't be back
Upon arrival there were a few people in cars(who didn't appear to be staying there) hanging out in the parking lot with their trunks open. We didn't necessarily feel safe even though, the area itself doesn't feel unsafe. Hotel itself was fine. Appeared to be fairly clean including the room. The hotel wasn't busy so it was pretty quiet. Breakfast during covid was "grab and go" The items in the refrigerator were non-stocked so I had to take what I could. That was disappointing that they couldn't at least check it or fill it up.
This was a particularly bad experience. I realize this is during the coronavirus. However, if you're going to charge over $170 for 2 nights at your hotel you should have something. There was no pool, no fitness center, no business center, no coffee in the lobby, and housekeeping only by special appointment. Breakfast was a plastic wrapped jelly Danish, a fruit cup, and a bottle of water. In addition, the hotel had very few guests. However, they apparently grouped all their guests in a cluster of rooms on the 2nd floor. The room walls are PAPER THIN. So whatever your neighbor next door, or even across the hall, is doing at 2 a.m. or 6 a.m., you'll hear it all. No sleep for 2 nights, no amenities, and regular prices. Not a good experience.
my favorite hotel, anywhere, by far the most perfect. spotless great management warm indoor pool great looking outside wonderful location. breakfast was amazing. loved sitting outside at night watching the planes land.
Excellent Facility, nioce rooms and great service. Breakfast was a little beeter than normal. Many resteraunts close by with a large choice of entres. I have absolutely ran out of things to write now..
Excellent staff, breakfast, and internet service. Room is spotlessly clean and very spacious. Tub is actually large enough to stretch out and soak in. Free and ample parking. A variety of excellent restaurants nearby. Easy on and off to I-85 and easy access to to service stations. A small, but well-stocked "store" just beside front desk and elevator...so convenient.
I had a problem with the TV and they sent someone up to resolve it immediately. She was very nice, respectful and courteous. Offered another room but didn't really want to move. She stayed until she fixed it.
I stayed here for two nights by myself over the weekend. Room was was very clean. Wireless was super strong. They have Direct TV with more channels than you can watch. Breakfast buffet was hot and varied. Lots of choices. Grounds are well kept. Front desk people were very friendly. Only negative was maid didn't replace the coffee paks I used on Friday and Saturday morning. Room was quiet and bed was comfortable. Can't ask for more than that.
Shower head was disgusting and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a week. Value of room was fine but bed was not very comfortable and pillows were very soft and felt like newspaper, not bad for a value hotel but would never pay a large amount for this hotel
The hotel is super clean, the hotel staff was excellent, the breakfast was very nice, I really recommend this hotel, I will come again, also I will tell my family and friend. The experience was nice. I have stay in other hotel before, but Best Western Plus was very nice. I really recommend this hotel. You can not go wrong. Thanks Best Western Plus for a wonderful stay.
The hotel was conveniently located with easy access to 85 and 285. The guest and employees were very nice and respectful. The rooms were very clean and the fitness center was amazing. I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and was extremely satisfied. My room was located on the fourth floor and it was so peaceful and quiet. The parking lot provided safe and easy access to and from the highway intersection. Excellent Hotel......
The Best Western is a good place to stay for any reason. They're reasonable, the rooms are very clean, and the beds are excellent!! It is very quiet even though there is a main thoroughfare near the hotel. I never even heard a car horn beep. The only thing that I did not like was the breakfast. The eggs tasted powdery and the waffle cooker didn't cook the waffles thoroughly. They were very doughy on the inside. But, outside of that, I had a very pleasant stay and yes, I would go back to that very same hotel again.
I stay at this Best Western at least 4 times a year to visit my Granddaughter and I am never disappointed. Staff is Awesome, coffee is Amazing, breakfast is Great, location is EXCELLENT and the overall stay is home away from home ;) This place is always clean & welcoming and smells amazing.
Me and my fiancé just wanted to do a low cost overnight getaway. Based on the amazingly low price of the room, much to my surprise this hotel was pretty great. We both kept saying "wow this is nice". From the time we checked in the staff was very nice and easy to have a conversation with. The hotel is very clean inside and outside, the room which was a 1 King Bed with a microwave and refrigerator, i believe the TV was a 40 Inch or bigger. The bed was very comfortable and the room was extremely clean. It came with a nice size desk for you to work on and a chair for you to kick back and put your feet up. We will be back again for sure and I highly recommended.
I would for sure stay at this hotel again and tell others about it if they are traveling in that direction. the service was great, rooms nice and clean, breakfast was good also. I just would have like to have a choice of meats each morning, they only had one to choose from each morning. it's a great location too. There's all kind of restaurants, stores, and others things close.
After a long rainy day and traveling through Atlanta, GA we were ready for a peaceful night. The hotel's location is easy on/off I-85. Room was spacious and quiet. Front desk employees were friendly and efficient.
Everything about this visit was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful and was willing to provide information about the area. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay in this BW Plus again if in the area.
Everything we needed during our stay. Very friendly staff. Very neat and clean odor free too. The hot tub would bubble but there was no heat to it. We really wanted that amenity for the soccer tournament we were there for, but no biggie. Breakfast was great and the front desk made us fresh coffee upon our arrival.
Stayed 2 nights, and the 1st one experienced: 1. room no made 2. no new towels available, so staff gave me 1 from another room 3. bad staff 4. Noise at 1AM I will not stay in this hotel in future. I am a platinum level and did not feel welcome.
The showers are extremely small. I could not fit without hitting the shower walls. I am not a large woman either! The new design sucks! There are no tubs to bathe children. A staff member entered the room AFTER check in and took our extra bedding for the sofa and towels. We will NEVER stay again. Just horrible.
We booked this room because we needed to be close to downtown Atlanta without staying in downtown Atlanta. We booked this hotel through Expedia and it was a nightmare. We got to the hotel at 10:45 pm and we told that Expedia had not paid them even though Expedia charged my credit card. After a very frustrating hour on the phone with Expedia....Nancy at the front desk was able to secure us the two rooms that we paid for. Thank you Nancy for making our day!! The rooms were very clean and welcoming. The breakfast was warm and organized...and there were lots of choices.
Very pleased with my stay..front desk was very pleasant .the rooms were very clean also very quiet.I reccomend this hotel and I will stay again.i missed the breakfast .maybe next time .they a few food places you can eat at as well.
I really enjoyed this hotel. The staff was amazing, my room was clean. I did not have to worry about it being noisy at all. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I received plenty of rest and was able to wake up at 4 am and study with peace and quiet.
Stopped for the night on our way to Florida from Tennessee. The location was easy to find just off the Interstate. The decorations are very attractive and the room was comfortable. Front desk person was very plesant and helpful. It's a good place to spend a few days.
Traveling to Florida and needed to stop and relax and found this wonderful hotel. Very clean, Great price, and Plenty of options for breakfast. Everything was wonderful. Jaclyn at the front desk was very helpful and welcoming.
We stayed here as a last resort, the first hotel we tried stank of weed and had a parties going on. First impressions of the hotel was nice, staff friendly, there was a sweet 16th going on opposite our room, luckily it ended around 1am. The facility was nice, just what we needed. A bed for the night and a shower. Only problem, there was a prostitute next door to us. We could hear each conversation and how much she would charge. The staff seemed shocked to be notified about this, I have a feeling it's a frequent occurrence.
From the time we checked in to the time we checked out, we had a wonderful experience. The gentleman at check in was friendly and helpful. We were tired from a long day of traveling and he was quick to get us to our rooms. Our rooms were clean and very comfortable. The bed was the best hotel bed I've slept in and the pillows were perfect. We slept soundly. Breakfast was typical continental style. Check out was a breeze and the lady who assisted us was so friendly and genuinely cared about our stay.
The selling point for me was the indoor pool in an interior corridor hotel that was close enough to the Atlanta airport without being right at the airport. The bonus was the built in jacuzzi that is actually a part of the pool. I always request a top floor because I always enjoy the view and the privacy. The room had 4 head pillows & 1 sausage pillow per bed, another bonus. Very thick bedding and comfy. Like sleeping on a cloud. Very clean room and bathroom. Very hot showers and capable of turning the bathroom into a sauna, another bonus. Breakfast was very basic. The night attendant looked like a bodyguard so I felt safe with him as well as the police department cruising through frequently throughout the night. $80 well spent.
Though my stay at this hotel was for only one night.... The staff member(Nancy) who greeted us upon arrival was very pleasant and escorted us to the pool later on that evening. The room was clean and comfortable. I'll definitely be staying with Best Western for future trips!
Stayed at the Best Western Plus in Fairburn, GA this weekend, WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! -Broken A/C in room -Fighting with front desk staff for a refund and room with A/C....This shouldn't have to happen to get help! -6am alarm clock going off in empty room next door daily..when you were told all rooms were taken/sold out!! HA! -Power out for 3 hours...yeah no A/C again LOL -Not for traveling with children, got little to no sleep all weekend with all the hotels issues Due to the horrible lack of customer service at this hotel my family will never book or stay at any Best Western EVER again! Between Kim at the front desk and the so called supervisor of nothing who I think was Nancy and the GM Ms. Nikki not calling me back or honouring a decent refund on my stay. Zero customer service! People at this hotel are all rude as hell and don't care! BEWARE, RUN AWAY!
We had a very pleasant stay for four nights recently. Family vacation with kids under 13 in our party so the free breakfast helps. The hotel is conveniently located off expressway but you don't get the noisy expressway feel. There is an indoor pool and workout room. Comfortable beds.
More towels in each room. More breakfast food based upon the number of hotel guests. On line reservation agreement was for the bill to be paid with Cash upon arrival / instead my credit card was charged.
The lobby looked clean. When we arrive to the room I proceeded to pull the sheets back. I found hair and brown spots on the bed one of the two queens. Serves was quick to respond but was snippy about it, assuming it was my hair. I don't have long brown hair. There was also dust everywhere.
The thermostat in the room we had was not accurate. We really couldn't regulate the temperature very well. Plus the eggs at breakfast were not hot. I like mine hot. Other than that all was great. The people were great and did a good job.
Breakfast was hot and with a great variety; room was clean; husband really loved the citrus bath products; bed were comfortable; only issues was the internet was very slow (practically useless) and noise from the gas stations outside the window.
My stay was excellent, my grandkids and I had so much fun in the pool. The staff have great bedside manners for them not to be doctors (lol) they were very tentative, always greeted with a smile, Thanks Best Western
The bathroom since had built up grime around the sink. You have to be sitting on the toilet to see it. It was room 203. I used the bathroom to uribste and I put very little tissue in it. Then it didn't flush. So I'm assuming it was already messed up
Our experience at this Best Western we outstanding. Everyone was very helpful. Our check in went very smoothly. They had our room ready for us when we arrived even thought we called just about an hour ahead of time.
The facility was clean, the staff was friendly especially Mrs. Vicky at the front desk, they checked me in even though it was earlier than check in time, everything was explained in detail, the room was EXTREMELY clean and comfortable, with eating establishments close by. Would definitely stay here again.
Jacqueline is a great addition to this hotel, she is always helpful and very professional. The rooms are always clean and the area is a great place to explore. Great location. Overall a great place for accommodations.
We found this hotel randomly on the way to New Orleans from NC. We were so impressed we came back again. We slept through breakfast the first time and missed a great feed. Tanya on the grill is awesome, funny, and a wonderful person. Assisted by Portrice they ensure that customers are very well taken care of, they even asked if they could take an elderly womans tray to the room for her husband when they noticed she had trouble walking. Miss Nicky the general manager runs a fantastic operation and it shows!! All of her personnel seem to enjoy their jobs and the customer service that they provide reflects their enthusiasm. Best Western should promote these employees accordingly!!
The staff were super friendly and great. Hotel was clean and nice. Bed very comfortable. Great highway access and food options nearby. Reasonable price and a great experience. I will be back next year!
Great breakfast everyday with variety . Friendly staff. Nice rooms, and hotel appearance. Close to some local food and gas stations. Pool was very nice. Everything was absolutely wonder and could ask for better. Aleays stay at Best Western when I travel
Me and my fiance spend here nice time.Totally friendly stuff-smiling all the time, clean rooms, good location, a lot of parking places. Maaaaaybe breakfast was not great but generally was everything all right.
The guest rooms were average. This hotel was centrally located near the events for our family reunion. The hotel provided a free breakfast. However the menu and the taste of the food left a lot to be desired. This hotel only had one elevator which the housekeeping staff also shared. This hotel has 74 rooms and this made it difficult to move around from floor to floor in the hotel.
Perfect stay on the way for our roadtrip in the USA. Easy to get to Atlanta, and the hotel is clean, rooms are quite big, and the staff is super friendly! Absolutely no complaints from us! Would definitely stay here again, if another roadtrip is in the works ??
Stayed only one night and after finding pink mold around shower handles we were happy to leave. The vent cover in bath was completely covered with dust. The hallway from the elevator to our room had a very unpleasant smell, which continued into our room. Ac unit emitted a foul odor also. We informed two different employees at the front desk and only received an “ok” with no further information. The hotel is overpriced and not at all comfortable. Such a disappointing stay after a long trip.
Clean and comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We spent one night at this hotel as a layover during our travels to a family reunion. Great location. Surrounding area allowed for ease of moving around and locating restaurants and other areas of interest.
My husband and I were shocked when trying to secure a hotel while in town for a game. We ended up finally finding this one albeit on the outskirts of Atlanta. We were met with a surprise in this hotel. The staff were so welcoming a friendly. The 2 mornings we were there the breakfast offerings were fresh, hot and plentiful. We were also greeted with 'good morning,' met with friendliness and helpfulness then told have a great day! The room was clean and comfortable. We can recommend this for sure.
My family and I stayed at Best Western Plus in Fairburn this June. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and my kids loved the breakfast. The pool seemed a little murky so we didn't get in. Overall, the hotel was nice. I would stay there again.
Great location and proximity to city sites. Everything was perfect except for the bed and the guest noises heard throughout the nights. I will be staying at this location again and will gladly let you know how it goes then. Should be in a couple of months.
I would have never imagined to be writing a review about a Best Western Hotel, however, this location has forever changed my thought process. Check In was a breeze Alejandra was amazing even giving us a welcome package. We were in town for a funeral and she was extremely pleasant and thoughtful. The room was well appointed, clean and very comfortable to say the least. The bed was cozy and I didn't want to get out. As for the breakfast I would t call it continental. There were multiple items to choose from and the attendant ( young slender female which I can't recall her name) was delightful. She made sure that everything was refilled timely and even brought the hash browns right out to my table. I have family in the area of the hotel and I usually stay with them for overnights, but this BW is my new go to! Thank you all very much your professionalism and hospitality is well received.
I stayed there for at least 3 nights. I enjoyed my stay while I was there. It was quiet and there are lot of places to eat near by. It is a nice duck off spot off in the cut and is close to the highway.
Stayed twice this year at BW in Fairburn, Georgia with my family. George the cook, was reason enough to book again. He made sure each guest got exactly the eggs they wanted, helped each child with the waffle maker, and shared stories about his Spanish heritage. Rooms were clean and modern. Staff very friendly. Definitely recommend.
I spent the last two nights there before my flight back to Europe and basically enjoyed it very much. Spaceous room and shower. Very clean. Nice people at the reception and in the morning at breakfast. I ordered some online tickets and the receptionist helped much by printing it. For some reasons there was no room service after the first night, as I discovered when I came back in late afternoon after a visit in Downtown Atlanta, although I removed the "Don't disturb" note at the door. I didn't report this because there were enough towels for the 2nd night.
Very nice hotel, it's in a great location, plenty of places to eat, friendly service, room was very clean, comfortable bed, breakfast was good, speedy check out...we would definitely go back and definitely recommend this hotel.
Keep up the good job!!. This hotel was very pleasant. I felt safe the whole time I spent there. I will return to this hotel next time I find myself going to Atlanta again. Hopefully it wont be too long.
I had an issue with double booking but that was taken care of right away when I went to the front desk to check in. The woman at the desk (didn't get her name) was very friendly and knowledgeable about the hotel and surrounding areas. She made sure we received everything we needed. The room was very nice. Loved the super large shower! Everything was impeccably cleaned. The bed was nice for one night but felt a little more firm than I am used to. All in all, it was a great stay and I would stay again!
Though my TV didn't work when I checked in and I had to change rooms in the middle of the night, the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was nice to have warm coffee available at all times. So nice to have many pillows and hair conditioner in shower. Breakfast in morning is great because many items are portable, which was great to bring to room. Boiled eggs are awesome! I eat clean (I eat egg whites only) so this is important for me, thank you!
The breakfast was not to my liking. However, the staff is very friendly. The room was clean. The hotel is close to several fast food restaurants, only about 5 min from Publix and 15 minutes from an outdoor mall. I would stay here again. However, I would need to eat breakfast somewhere else.
This hotel was very clean and updated with a modern flair. The staff was very friendly and cordial, they greeted you upon arrival and departure every time you went in and out a bit more pricey than the airport, but worth it
Good service everything was exceptional the only problem I had was the next door niebor was making noise they sounded as if there was an unauthorized party. The hotel need to make sure that there are no suspicious activity going onvintge hotel
Traveling through Atlanta and looking for a friendly professional and clean night's stay, this location provides easy access off the highway with a great staff and an awesome complimentary breakfast! A must if you are in the area.
The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Located with quick and easy access to the freeway. Close to restaurants and stores. Breakfast had lots of protein options! This was a nice treat instead of all sugary, high carb breakfasts provided at most places.
We have stayed here several times and the customer service has always been exceptional. Any problems were handled in a professional and timely manner. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great value
The rooms were spacious and very clean. We will definitely stay here again. Front desk was very friendly and professional. The price was reasonable. Their breakfast and coffee was very delicious. Thank you so much.
great place to stay, very helpful, I would recommend this motel to any business traveler. I have stayed there over 100 times. I will not stay at a unclean or unfriendly establishment. The motel is close to many restaurants and a Publix. If you are looking for a place to stay every time your are in Moody, this is it.
Great hotel for the money. THe staff was kind and generous. The location was not near our soccer field but the close location to the highway helped. The surrounding area was up and coming, you can tell they are trying to improve the area. We wil stay here again if we are ever in the area.
I needed a hotel south of Atlanta to be near a business dinner in Peachtree City. The BW Plus Fairburn was perfect - very clean, located just off the freeway on Highway 74, and with an exceptional staff. I would recommend it to anyone in need of a business hotel in the area.
The first room they put me in had no hot water. They said I could move to another room. The second room, had luke-warm water. I got a very borderline shower. And, there was hair in the bathtub! ICK. The front desk clerk didn't seem apologetic about any of it.
I made a reservation and pre paid online. At the end of a day preparing for an Estate sale of my late parents property, the hotel did not have our reservation. We had to pay again for the room. It was a very frustating end to a difficult day!
This is my go to hotel when visiting family. I enjoy the clean environment and nice staff. The pool, gym and kitchen is always clean. The breakfast is good and really nice to help you prepare for long waits at restaurants in downtown ATL since waits can go 1-2 hours for quality eateries.
The only thing that was wrong was one light that flickered. This was one of the best hotels I've stayed in, in a long time. Clean, awesome breakfast, and very nice room. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Unbelievable the Complimentary Breakfast at BWP FAIRBURN has a hold new taste in your mouth. It use to be a piece of toast some juice maybe a cup of coffee. Now thanks to George the Cuban Connection breakfast is back to get early sit down mean before I got work. Those of us that frequently stay has seen a very big different in comp breakfast George gas added flavor style and service with a smile that will have you staying and arriving just for the comp breakfast yum yum yum George dont stop wht you are doing your breakfast get us to fresh motivating start to our day my hat is off to you George THANKS
The look of the hotel was nice and clean. The bed was to hard for my taste and we were looking forward to hanging out in the hot tub, but it was just jets in the corner of the pool. The breakfast did not taste good either. However the staff was very friendly.
Outstanding property. Only suggestion is improve the Internet Access. A highlight of this hotel was the helpful staff. I tend to wake early, and the overnight crew was able to make sure everything worked. The fact that my room initially had no towels was no big deal, as the staff came up with the goods quickly and in a nice way. Other minor issues were dealt with quickly, such as non-working TV remote in exercise room. Kudos to owners for providing adequate staffing levels. Staff had good team spirit. General note to guests: Try to avoid being the people that go to the pool, then go the lobby and soak all the seats. Creates issues for other guests who may, for example, want to arrive at their sales call without showing a damp pants rear. While this didn't happen on this trip, the reason for the spa/pool opening being delayed until 9 AM was evidence that it has, in the past. As an example of how accommodating the staff is, they opened the pool when I complained, even if I was, myself, a little grumpy and critical. "Turn that frown into a smile." George's eggs were awesome. Onion, garlic, mild spice.
Booked this location as well as conference room, for a 3 day company training. However upon arrival at checkin time no rooms were available. Also staff was not helpful as we waited for over an hour. Seemed that as long as the conference room was paid for and the rooms then our time didnt matter. There were 15 of us traveling from all over the south east. Just horrible
The room and hallways were dirty! crap all over the floors. Didn't recognize my Diamond select status, don't offer a weekly rate. They don't have suites. The lady looked at me like an alien when i brought up these issues. I wont be back, gross!
This is a really good hotel to stay in, close to Senoia for anybody doing the Walking Dead Tours. Hotel is very clean, modern in appearance and staff are very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was very good especially the coffee, can't remember the member of staff's name who manages the breakfast but he was very friendly and he was the one who made the coffee.
We needed a place to stay over night on trip home from PCB to N. Carolina. Room was clean and neat. Beds were very comfortable! My kids loved the HD tv with so many channels for 4 year olds. Breakfast was delicious. We had eggs, bacon, waffles, pancake/waffles and yogurt. We got there very late around 1 in the morning and staff was very friendly. We will be planning an Atlanta trip next year and will be staying here again!
Highly recommended! Great staff! Great service! Peaceful environment! Great location. Chinesse, Mexican, fast food, Starbucks and other restaurants across the street and down the road!!! Airport transportation service was also excellent.
When first arriving the front desk attendant was helpful. However, when I got to the room it was awful, The bed was not made properly, corners not tucked in just disgusting They gave me another room but housekeeping forgot to restock items, towels, the bedspread was horrible. NEVER AGAIN WILL I STAY AT BW!
My bed wasn't made up on my last night of stay. I did not have the do not disturb sign out , they skipped it. Room smell like smoke and bathroom wasn't clean. I will never recommend this place to anyone.
We were looking for a hotel near our family and not that far from ATL airport. Most were well over $100+. We had stayed at BWPlus hotels recently and decided to give this one a try. We were glad we did.
Thank you! For a very comfortable stay. The room was always immaculate whenever we came back from a day of fun. It was honestly an home away from home. My boys were very happy and had no complaints. We really enjoyed the breakfast and really appreciated house-keeping for their hard work and pleasant attitudes. I based my Hotel selection based on reviews and BW did not disappoint.
the rooms were spacious. the bathrooms were as well. comfy beds. wanted to stay longer--just in the room. being close to shopping and restaurants added plus. I will be visiting this BW next time i'm in the area. and I will visit other BW properties when traveling.
The service we received was great. The location, the exterior and the lobby area of this hotel is nice also. The hotel smells clean, but I could smell old water pipes in the shower and restroom sink. The hotel room decor was dark and drab. I prefer light, airy and relaxing decor for hotel rooms where It's difficult to hide cleanliness.
The hotel fitness center and indoor pool was a home run enjoyed every minute of it The breakfast selection would be better if more selection on daily basis was given at the same time it's free breakfast Overall I enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family
This was the worst experience ever I booked online call to confirm then at arrival no rooms says system over booked took 3 hours to get a room over charged me then there is no manager to to talk to after 2 am system shuts down can find rooms unless they search every one. Next when booking on there sure you must fill out a credit card authorization form prior to checking in
Not stayed in a Best Western before, but was very pleasantly surprised how much better this was than a recent stay at another chain (different state). Everything was clean. Breakfast was as expected. Great friendly caring staff.
Very nice hotel for the price. The staff was fantastic and very helpful. The only thing that I would have liked to see was the pool be a little bit warmer and maybe quieter rooms. We would stay here again!
Everyone was great to be around, friendly, had everything we needed and could ask for. Very clean, neat, homely like rooms. The only small problems I had was. The body drying towels are too small, they are just a little bigger then a hand towel. And the other and last problem was My toliet seat was coming off when trying to use the restroom.
Located outside Atlanta within a bustling town called Fairburn, lies an artery of hotel choices. If you need a place to sleep let this not be your first choice, Second maybe but not first if Holiday Inn Express, WinGate, or the Hampton is booked for the night.
It's always a pleasure here at best western this is my second time here ! Had a bad experience with the receptionist the first day but we saw eye to eye eventually ! It's convenient to restaurants and expressway ! Minutes from downtown and Airport.
Nice hotel and close to the horse park and restaurants. Carpet needed cleaning. The pool area was extremely hot as they ran the heater. Hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. Laundry facility was helpful being in a hotel.
Clean and nicely appointed. Breakfast was Great!...The staff was welcoming and friendly which makes the hotel stay more enjoyable. The next time I come through the Atlanta area I will be staying here. Thanks again!
The BW Fairburn was an easy location to get to. The staff was excellent and the grounds, building and room were very clean and comfortable. The pool was clean and relaxing. I would definitely recommend the BW to any friends or family and Miss. Nicky at the front desk was exceptional and made the stay there unforgettable
If you like a loud TV in the next room at 2:00 am and the staff doing nothing meaningful about it after two calls then this is the place for you. I have no expectations of staying at another Best Western.
Hotel and staff was clean, professional and awesome inclusive. Staff went out of their way to explain amenities and ensure our comfort. Location to local amenities were explained by staff. Awesome area for ATL visit.
First of all the desk staff was very cordial and helpful, a minimum amount of time to check in as all paperwork was prepared in advance. The room was very clean and neat and the bed was super comfortable. The A/C was a little noisy and we had to shut it off at night other than that a beautiful room. Breakfast appeared to have the usual cereal, biscuits and gravy, waffles, pastries, eggs and bacon, however we did not participate, but the folks seemed to enjoy.
The check-in experience was incredibly poor. Arrived at the check-in, there was one staff member helping out another guest, and taking a very long time . obviously the guest had some issues , and it was taking time to resolve it. There was a second terminal lying vacant, but no second staff member was called in to help us check in. I had come after along day of sight seeing walking miles and miles, yet was foced to wait for nearly 25 min behind the guest being helped and the staff member looking into it. a proper thing would have been for the staff member to acknowledge my presence, call a second staff person to the terminal to help me out, or atleast find out why i was standing there and perhaps told me to take a seat elsewhere. neither was done. The complimentary breakfast closes at 9.00am. It should be kept open late on sunday mornings for folks who get up late. Yeah I get it rules are rules, but soem flexibility can be introduced when especially in group bookings attending a wedding the previous night.
I've stayed here once or twice every spring during the Georgia Renaissance Festival and it's been consistently good. The rooms have been fine and the in-room amenities include a fridge and a microwave. You can't beat the location -- very close to I-85, and the area around the hotel is walkable and safe. My only minor complaint is that the indoor pool was chilly...and it's been chilly on every visit. Not so chilly I won't get in it, but it comes as a bit of a surprise.
After a series of cancelled flights out of ATL, I begrudgingly booked a hotel room here, at one of the last rooms available in the greater Atlanta area -- only to find upon arrival that they did not, in fact have any room at their inn (through no fault of their own). While I was devastated and completely at a loss for what to do, the generous folks at the Best Western Plus managed to not only secure me a room at a different hotel, but also drive me there in the middle of the night, AND pick me back up the next morning!! I was near tears when I thought I was stranded alone in Fairburn at midnight, and after these 2 employees' generosity, I honestly shed tears of gratitude. Although I can't speak to the quality of the rooms here, I can more than vouch for the high quality of the staff's character. Thank you SO much, friends, and I hope to come back for a real stay some day!
I love staying there.. The shaffs are really professionals/ nice. Looking forward for my next trip. Thats really soon!! Oh yeah I like the eggs with the cheese in the middle better.. Lol. Just think I should add that.
We stayed in a King size suite with a separate sitting area with a sofa and a desk. The beds were comfortable with good linens and bedding. Clean hotel with friendly and accommodation staff. They have an indoor pool with spa in the same pool. Only open until 9pm. Would have been nice to use,but time did not permit. Other hotel pools are open later...At least until 10. Bathroom had large all tiled walk in shower but only a portion could be used as the shower head was in one end and the other end of the shower was the open entrance. Breakfast served until 9 am,which I can't comment on as I slept in.
We had a short weekend break to visit a family member. This hotel is very comfortable and we'll appointed. The highlight for us was how friendly and helpful the staff are. Everyone from the reception staff through to breakfast team were so welcoming.
So we were passing through on a work trip in Alabama heading back home to N.C and stayed overnight here and from the moment at check-in a very professional, friendly woman named Miss Nicky delivered us a great customer service experience she covered everything from the hotel, food and local attractions. She was up on her game and needs to be recognized, it's the small things like this that every customer needs to experience and I'll guarantee the customers will come back. Great job Miss Nicky, so moving forward to the hotel the rooms were up to date very modern and clean and quite they even have laundry on site and a heated indoor pool that was perfect. This is a great stay for everyone
Location was everything. I was happy to be located right by 85. Gas stations, Wendys, Chic Fil A all near by. Liquor store very close as well. The staff was very pleasant and helpful upon check in. SHe informed me of the hours for all the amenities and even got me signed up for the rewards program once she learned that I have stayed at a Western Plus previously before. Every time we entered the hotel we were greeted with a smile even when it was at 4 oclock in the morning coming from the club. I recently started a fitness journey and i was elated to find out they have an entire free weights set in their gym. This is not common and I was very happy to see them. I will definitely be visiting again.
Place is clean very nice modern updated rugs are clean furniture clean. No spots no stains my CV super comfy bed love the bed!! Service dog friendly. Free wfi. Secure and safe free parking in a area with dining close walking distance close
The hotel staff was great staff. They were friendly, helpful and professional. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. Close to I-85 and many restaurants. I would recommend staying here.
Amazing rooms and friendly service . Didn't come out my room for nothing ??. Fresh and clean rooms and spacious . We will be back soon and will be spreading the word about how hospitable everyone was.
The hotel was very very nice. I am very particular about the places I stay and when we had to evacuated I had to take what I could get. Well I would stay here in a heartbeat. The staff were the nicest people ever, very helpful and kind. I can't believe the price this was definitely more than a 2 star hotel!!!!!
The hotels was nicer than expected. seemed new. Clean and fresh décor. Would stay again. Only negative was lack of nicer restaurants in immediate area. You would need to go a few miles down the road. Plenty of fast food nearby though
The hotel was average and the staff was nice. My husband and I only stayed one night. However, someone broke into our car and when I reported it to the hotel they said all they can say is file a police report and that it had happened before...ooooh okayyy, thanks. Thought this might be something people would want to know when trying to figure out if they want to stay at this place or not. Overall the location was convenient but a little too convenient as you can see. I'm just glad they didn't really have anything to take.
This is a great hotel. The surrounding area is upscale. Good restuarants. The hotel staff is great. I spend a lot of time in Best Westerns and I have never been disappointed. The Fairburn hotel is away from the main rpad and quiet.
Mrs. Nickey and staff were very courteous and professional Clean facility. Beds and bedding were very conferrable. Breakfast was very good for being a continental breakfast. Location was great next to major hwy. plenty of local areas to eat. Only 20 minutes to Atlanta metro.
Employees were very nice and helpful. Room 401 was a king suite with fridge and microwave. Bed was comfortable but pillows were too hard for my taste and there were no others offered in the room. Room was large, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Bathroom was clean and everything worked fine. The shower is a large walk-in style, no tub, and could have used a bench seat, but otherwise was very nice.
The location of the hotel does not have much you do have to travel 20-30 mins to get to midtown or downtown. I am looking at relocating to Atlanta so it was a great location to see different parts of the area. The room was really cozy and big for one person, the staff was really friendly and gave me ideas of where to do my job searching at. The hotel is simple but yet it works because it allows you to do what you have to do.
From check-in to check-out everything was great. Nice beds with plenty of pillows, in room fridge, microwave, coffee, iron, ironing board, and dryer. Extra toiletries are available upon request, if needed. We only had 3 towel sets in our room (and we had 4 people) so I mentioned it to the front desk on my way to get something from my car...the towels were already there when I returned...and not just one, but 3 extra sets. There is an indoor pool, hot tub, and gym, and a full breakfast each day. The price was very reasonable!!! We were very pleased.
We have had to stay here at Best Western because out house is being worked on. I have had a great experience and the staff is no doubt the A team of customer service. Seantel, Jo, Jabari, Nicky are just some of the ones that are fantastic even the manager. The breakfast was great due to the hard work to keep everyone fed by a fantastic young lady by the name of Adasia. I recommend this hotel to anyone.
This hotel offers some good amenities for the price. Our room had fridge and microwave. There was a nice indoor pool and gym. Beds were comfortable, room clean and quiet. The breakfast was better than average (I say that due to the heaping piles of bacon!) I must say, however that the best part were the friendly folks at the front desk. Truly nice people. I don't often comment on front desk service, these people were so sweet and helpful. Thanks for that!
My family n I came to Georgia for our family reunion. Jabriel was so helpful and so nice. Because of his great customer service I would come back again! Thanks again Jabriel, keep up the great work. Best Western Plus in Fairburn was an great experience!
Just a lovely time there 1st very quick check-in. Mr. Jabari Golden and Ms Sean'tel Davis always make feel at home away from home. They always accommodate me with a room away from the construction to make sure i am well rested for work the next day. Ms Sean'tel also work the breakfast area which is always fresh, hot, and very pleasant to the eyes. All i can say is thank you very and keep up the good work Thank You Very Much.
It was nice, clean, and great staff. I hate the 3pm check-in time, but that's my only complaint. I thought the people were so nice even the housekeeper. They were friendly and checked on me as I past the desk.
The staff was very nice, especially the front desk. We did not get our room cleaned after day one though, and we didn't have any shampoo either, but two bottle of body wash. Kept knocking on the door which was generally not what we see in hotels anymore over the last 10 years.
Front Desk clerk Nicky is very helpful and friendly. Seantel and Adasia are also nice as breakfast attendants. The only bad is on one particular stay my cc was charged and i already had paid. Overall great place to stay.
Our Family Loved The Experience. Very Impressed by the Customer Service !! Very Clean & safe Area, despite the Other negative reviews, Our Stay Was Marvelous. Rooms was Beautiful & Great Cable Channels than any other hotel i have every stayed in. Breakfast Was Delicious Btw & I loved Mr. Jabari & Ms. Nicki they're Customer Service stood out the most. Thank You Guys!!!!
After reading reviews I was skeptical about booking at this hotel but my experience turned out great! Hotel was in the vicinity of many restaurants, gas stations, and the liquor store (which closes at 11 on the weekend); and right off 85 e-way. Even other stores and restaurants in Union City were not far away (approximately a 5-7 min drive away). The staff was very nice. Check-in was smooth. Every staff member we came in contact with had a smile and made sure our stay was okay. Our room was clean. We had a microwave and refrigerator, which was convenient. Thank God no one broke into our car!! To be in a room right by the elevator it was not noisey, so that was a good thing. Maybe we came in a quiet weekend but we were pleased. My only suggestion is that the hallway be cleaned better because there was a slight odor in the carpet in the hallway. Also to replace the shower head. Other than that the stay was comfortable! I would stay again ??
I honestly don't understand how this hotel is still in business. If I could give this place -29.6 star I swear I would. Our car plus several other cars got broken into last night and the hotel staff was more than unaccommadating. After speaking to "management" they said that it's public property and will not help in this matter. I literally broke down in tears because our stay here has been nothing, but a living hell. Between housekeeping staff that wont clean. We stayed here for a week and was going to stay an additional week to stay because of the closing on our house. But today was the straw that broke the camels back. We have receive zero assistance from Best Western Plus. I talked to the regional manager at apsilon management Bob that "manages" this property and he was completely out of line and condescending. After explaining my situation I've been dealing and the car break in his EXACT words were, "Nobody's forcing you to stay here and if you think that this is a negligence issue then that's your opinion. Don't stay here." I can honestly see why some of the staff members are so rude. We've spent over $2,000 here between the best westerns here in Atlanta this month waiting for the closing of our place. I asked housekeeping to clean our room and on two different occasion. One indian couple said that our room wasn't on her list so they weren't going to clean it today. Yesterday, this lady said, "You clearly see me cleaning another room I'll get to it when I get to it." When I told the "supervisor" about the treatment from housekeeping she said, "But the room was cleaned this morning...sooooo....." I don't understand how these people get away this treatment towards paying customers. Money has been missing from my room several times. It was only 15 bucks in cash, but it's still my money. I'm so disappointed in the staff and management. I regret my stay here and I will deter any and everybody from making the same mistake I did.
Very clean, but a few oddities Room was clean and very nice and roomy. Breakfast was standard budget with a few nice amenities. Pool was very nice but the spa was broken. Nice sitting area outside pool. Fitness center (used it) nice and good equipment. Very easy in/out of Atlanta, we did Aquarium & Gardens. Beds were too soft for us and pillows not the best. I was not able to check out (get bill) until I was physically out of the room and turned in the room keys. I travel all the time and never heard this before. Towels were few ( if any) in Fitness center and pool. No printer for printing boarding passes. They wanted me to email them my materials (nice but no thanks). Avoid east side rooms as the outside courtyard is popular for late night fires and loud conversation. Major construction and dust around the area. Not our cup of tea, but will do in a pinch...
Staff members go out of their way to be helpful. Just of I-85, so super-convenient. Chick-fil-A, McDonald, Mexican restaurant within walking distance. Cracker Barrel a couple of traffic lights away. 4 wonderful pillows on each bed, although my bed was a bit too firm. I should have checked the other bed, perhaps it was more comfy. Super clean! Lovely indoor pool, but highly chlorinated. Parking was ample, free, and safe. Breakfast includes delicious CRISP bacon, which I have never seen ina hotel breakfast before, and good bagel selection. Three dry cereal choices. Be aware that there is no hair dryer in the room, but they do have a great coffee set-up and an iron for your clothes.
As a Diamond rewards member, I checked in using my rewards points, so i thought, until at check out was advised they do not honor rewards points. When i spoke with front desk employee Jabari, he was extremely rude and sarcastic. Customer service is in dire need of an upgrade. Very disappointing. Hotel itself was good; however, if customer service is lacking, everything else falters as well. Time to step it up.
I'd stayed at this hotel before when it was a Sleep Inn, but between last spring and this one, Best Western acquired the property and made it one of their "Plus" properties. It's largely the same hotel but the room renovations are nice. The price is now $10-15 higher than before, though. The pool area -- and the hotel's description -- no longer include any mention of a hot-tub (it never worked anyway) and the pool was quite chilly. Rooms include a decent-sized mini-fridge and a microwave and the hotel is within an easy walk of a convenience store/gas station and several fast-food places. I didn't have a chance to try the free breakfast. The hotel's wi-fi (password available from the front desk) was nice and fast. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and it's still one of the least expensive hotels in Fairburn.
My initial visit was Wonderful. The front desk was great they really put me at ease. After being checked in. I stepped into a fresh smelling room. I really like the new design of the hotel. I asked front desk to give me a wake up call. They woke me up right on time. I walked down to a fresh smell of breakfast. The Breakfast was wonderful. I would come back over and over again. Love the staff and all amenities at The best Western Plus in Fairburn ga.
Everything about this hotel was excellent except for the room cleaning staff. One day room was not cleaned and another day no face towels were left. Other than the room cleaning staff I can not say enough good things about how the staff treated my wife and I. Very friendly, fantastic people!
Not a bad hotel but beware using your rewards points for a room the owner does not honor Best Westerns commitment. A darn shame the staff was very pleasant. $30 is a nice rate but warning me that you don't honor full rewards points before I receive my bill would be nice. There are plenty of hotels that dont honor and are upfront about it.Just feels shady.
I had a 3pm check in, arrived at the hotel about 3:30pm and was not checked in until after 5pm spent an hour and a half in the lobby. I was not offered to stay an hour or 2 over the next morning which is what I would have offered as a courtesy instead I had the housekeeper knock on my door at 10:59 am and state if you don't check out now you will be billed another day??
The room was very clean and had a relaxing appearance. The Staff was very friendly and attentive to your request. We were there for a going home service for our Aunt. Most of our family from all over stayed there also.
hotel was ok, our particular room had an ant problem. Didn't ask to change rooms. The free breakfast was just ok. It was quiet for the most part. We would stay here again if in the area. Didn't get a change to check out the pool or other amenities.
Very pleased with the appearance of the hotel. First reaction was that the hotel was brand new! The check-in experience was easy and professional. Because we had been delayed by traffic arriving at the hotel, we were very glad that check-in was quick, efficient, and we were in our comfortable beds hastily. We travel a great deal on soccer trips and have found that Best Western is becoming our hotel of choice. The breakfast is adequate for our needs...always well stocked and clean.
I was very impressed with this hotel in terms of value, location and attention to detail in its decor. I had never stayed at Best Western Plus before and I was very pleased with the room features. Plenty of space in the bathroom for my products and a full-length mirror that is sometimes overlooked. Well done!
I needed a place to stay for a wedding that I was attending and this hotel was down the way so I decided to give it a try. The environment was decent, but distracting due to the fact that they were in the middle of being bought out by another chain and renovation were taking place during our stay. Despite the changes, the staff was polite and courteous, and the room was neat and clean and worth the price for a simple overnight stay.
We reserved a room two weeks in advance because it was along our travel route between states. I booked it through choice hotels using my rewards points. I arrived and the lobby reeked of cigarette smoke. The person behind the Counter informed that my reservation had been cancelled and I should have been informed by Choice hotels. He said the owner and Choice hotels "had a falling out" and they were no longer affiliated (Although the Sleep Inn sign was clearly displayed) He told me the new name was Oakley Inn as per the computer paper sign on the desk... He did have rooms available for more than the price I had originally seen during booking when I had decided to use points. I did not want to pay twice (as my points had been deducted for the room already) for the smelly place that the details of their management seemed sketchy so I left and opted to call Choice Hotels customer service. After 10pm, I spoke to whoever answers choice customer service from whatever country it happened to be and was only further frustrated - I received no help and was tasked with finding an available, nearby place - exactly what I hoped to avoid by pre-booking. I am very angry and disappointed that Choice never emailed or called me to inform me of the change or cancellation and were no help to me while I was stranded late at night with my family and friends. It's time to find another hotel chain.....
Mysterious "reservations" are made(up) in your name, and then, while you are actually checked in to another room, they will charge you for a no show for another room on the same day. Watch your cards carefully after a stay here.
Delta delayed flight so received a voucher for here Front desk staff was super nice Furniture and bed and linens were good but bed was too hard for my taste They have a coffee machine. Took one sip and spit it out. I think it was made from fossil fuels. One bar of soap for sink and shower Old hotel looks like the have been limping along They did provide toothpaste toothbrush and deodorant free of charge. Thank goodness because all my stuff was in my checked bag. I wouldn't stay here again but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be a good budget hotel for someone.
Great place to stay. It's near a lot of different restaurants. Nice & quiet. Indoor pool was a little colder than I expected but we still had a nice time. Nice size bed & room was nice & clean. Easy check-in & check- out process
