Have used this property a few times before and it is so convenient to the airport. This time we had a pretty small and ordinary room which was a downer. The real highlight was the extensive onsen on top floor with indoor and outdoor pools. So surreal to be soaking in a warm bath while it was raining. Breakfast was tasty and extensive. Staff very helpful especially at check-in. As mentioned, location is a huge attraction.

This was a very pleasant stay on my arrival to Tokyo. I highly recommend it to all types of of travellers. It has a lot of pluses to mention. The location is very easy to find It's very big and spacious .The bar and restaurant is very nice and breakfast buffet very good. I did have trouble finding my room due to communication problems with staff but they are helpful and very polite. Overall very good stay and I would definitely like to stay there again.

I have flown into, out of, and through Haneda at least ten times and had no idea this existed. Steps from the arrivals and ground transportation, VFP is a quiet, upscale hotel, with rooms that felt surprisingly spacious for the location and price point. Lots of dining options downstairs in the Haneda Garden center, as well as 2 Lawson konbini. I wish I had taken the time to visit the onsen (I think it's included?) but alas the bed was comfy enough to knock me out after a long flight.

Attached to Terminal 3, this is a great location when flying in / out. Beautiful, clean rooms and nice attached spa.

One of my favourite hotels in the world. For this price you don't get better service. And the spa on the roof is amazing. They just waived a cancellation fee for me and this prompted me to write this review because it's so typical of how reasonable they are.

This property opened three and a half years ago and is located an easy 5 to 10 minute walk from the arrivals lobby in terminal 3. I choose the Premier side of the hotel over the Grand side because it's less busy, quieter, has better views, and of course because the rooms are nicer. One perk is all the drinks in the fridge are included. Be sure to consume everything or take it with you. If they refill the fridge, that's extra. Needless to say, the rooms are the typically excellent rooms found in this category of hotel in Japan. Amenities, hair dryers, sleepwear, and slippers are provided. There's also an onsen with a 24 hour restaurant. It's convenient but the downside is it's usually overcrowded and not necessarily a relaxing experience. The restaurant comes in handy if you get hungry in the middle of the night, but I believe they still charge the onsen fee even if you just go to the restaurant. In my case, I usually take flights that depart at 1:30 or 2:00 am. I'll book a room for two nights and check out at midnight or 12:30 am to catch my flight. It's worth it to me because I can relax in the room and take a bath or shower just before the flight. If that's not important to you, save the money. I used to go to the lounges but nowadays they're overcrowded, you often can't reserve a shower and have to rush even if you can reserve, and the food isn't particularly appealing.

I chose this hotel for my final night in Japan because of its direct connection to Haneda Airport, and that is undoubtedly its biggest advantage. Check-out was quick and easy, and within a few minutes I was walking to Terminal 3 for my early morning flight. The room initially made a good impression. It was compact, as expected for Tokyo, but looked modern and well presented. Unfortunately, several issues quickly detracted from the experience. The most significant problem was that the bathroom sink was clearly partially blocked. Water drained very slowly and regularly pooled in the basin, making simple tasks such as washing my face and brushing my teeth frustrating. I also found the hotel's facilities confusing to use. Access to the spa and onsen was not clearly explained. We attempted to visit the spa to enquire about treatments but were told by reception that we did not have access to visit the spa without a booking. The overall layout of the hotel did not help matters, as the lift configuration is surprisingly confusing and makes moving between different facilities more complicated than it should be. The gym was good, but the lounge and onsen facilities were underwhelming. The onsen lounge area was much smaller than expected, and the lounge spaces felt limited for a hotel of this size. We looked around but ultimately chose not to return or use the facilities during our stay. Having experienced lounge access at other hotels during our trip, this offering compared poorly. Service was acceptable but unremarkable. Staff were not rude, but they were noticeably less warm and welcoming than those at the many other hotels we stayed in throughout Japan. Given the premium price, I expected a much better overall experience. Aside from the convenience of being attached to the airport, the hotel did not offer the level of quality, service, or facilities that would justify the cost.

We we arrive late evening at Haneda and generally stay at the Villa Fontaine Grand; the lower grade property of the two Villa Fontaines at that airport.  The Premier was worth the extra. Almost no queues at check in with no need to fiddle with the automated check in machines. Instead, we had a human to assist us both efficiently and with a smile. The room was clean and had everything we needed for our short stay including a bath tub for the wife. Check out was similarly seamless. Nothing to complain about. Not somewhere I would stay for more than a night but for an airport hotel its probably one of the best I have experienced globally.  The epitome of conveniance and totally fit for purpose.

This was a fantastic hotel. Modern, spacious, clean and perfect access to the airport! It was the end of a great week in Japan and I decided I wanted to avoid the morning rush and ridiculously early wake up. So I booked here and was really pleased. The room was great. Comfortable and spotless. I didn't use the spa - but had a free pass as a guest. I highly recommend this hotel if you've got an early or midday flight.

This was my first time staying at this airport hotel. I was pleasantly surprised. Entrance is through the Haneda Airport Garden shopping area located in the arrival hall. We booked a premium room which had a waterfront view. We were also able to book a later checkout based on # of people, up to 3 extra hours or 14:00. If you purchased the buffet breakfast it is located on the first floor. If you have large bags you don't want to take to the room there is a bag storage up to 24 hours located at the arrival hall near Tully's coffee. For smaller bag storage there is a locker area on the opposite side of the arrival hall. You can also book a lot of tourist spots from here online.

Do not stay here under any circumstances, not worth the high price at all. For the same price, you can get so many nice hotels in Tokyo. The onsen on the roof does not have any view at all of the runways or the airplanes as they advertise - it is a complete scam. The onsen has a very complicated multi-step process to get in, but the staff are like grumpy and don't speak any English at all. It's a total disaster even with a few other guests trying to get in. Horribly designed with towels only in the common area before the locker room, just mind-bogglingly stupid. The breakfast is a DISASTER - the guy at the reception speaks zero English, had so much trouble just getting a table to sit down. Then once there he asks for your coffee order and was completely incapable of making a latte with non-dairy milk. It was like a first in his life mystery encounter for him. Insane incompetence. And the buffet itself is so small and limited, less variety than the $50 a night business hotels I stayed at in rural Japan. Terrible quality and terrible value for the money. Do not stay at this hotel.

It's a gorgeous hotel inside, overlooking the river, great bar and restaurant with a free mini bar and so many goodies in your room. The room is spacious and the bed is so comfortable, it has direct access to terminal 3 but easy to get to other terminal's by bus or monorail, also into the city. It's a really high quality hotel with lovely friendly staff.

A beautiful hotel with a great location to Hanada Airport and especially the International Terminal. The Japanese bath is excellent for getting over jet lag after a long flight from the USA. Breakfast is excellent (both options). The rooms are also very spacious compared to most hotel rooms in Japan.

This is an impressive and very modern luxury hotel situated right at Haneda Airport. The rooms are delightfully luxurious and spacious, surprisingly quiet, and the rooftop onsen is amazing - I would not have expected such a tranquil space right next to a busy city airport, but it was exactly what I was looking for. Take care not to mistake this hotel for the next-door "Villa Fontaine Grand" - that one is much larger, but less luxurious, and does not include free access to the onsen, which - to me at least - were one of the main reasons for booking. I stayed at the hotel for one night before an early-morning flight and the staff went out of their way to make sure that I could have a quick breakfast before departure. There are several hotels on-site, but easy access to the monorail means you can also zip back into Tokyo for dinner if that's your preference. Take note that there is a bit of a walk from terminal 3 to the hotel, and if you're arriving or departing from a different terminal, make sure you allocate some time for the (free) shuttle bus as well. Overall, an incredibly pleasant stay and I will most likely come back the next time I'm flying from Haneda.

Lovely first impression from a gorgeous scent in the lobby and a very friendly receptionist. Room 1009, on 10th floor overlooking the river (and Mt Fuji in the morning). King sized bed, large sofa in front of the window, fridge, wardrobe, table - all well designed to fit the space. Complimentary drinks in the fridge including sake, wine and beer. Best pyjamas of the trip! Bathroom small but had both a bath and a very good shower.

It was our first time staying at Hotel Villa Fontaine Premier Haneda Airport, as we usually stayed at the adjacent Villa Fontaine Hotel. The Premier property definitely feels more upscale and refined. Check-in was smooth and pleasant. Unlike the sister hotel next door, the front desk here is staffed with courteous and attentive personnel. Since we arrived before the official check-in time, we left our luggage with the staff and went shopping. Upon returning, our suitcases—and another one delivered by Yamato Transport—had already been brought up to our room, which was a very nice touch. We stayed in a Deluxe King River View room. It was spacious, with a large and comfortable bed, a generous washroom featuring a deep bathtub, and a long sofa by the window that was perfect for relaxing or having a quick meal. The air conditioning was quiet and efficient, and the overall room design felt modern yet cozy. The wardrobe wasn't particularly large but sufficient for coats and travel clothes. We didn't try the breakfast as we had an early flight at 7 AM, but the convenience store downstairs made it easy to pick up yogurt, fruits, and light snacks. Another charming feature was the aroma pouch-making station in the lobby, where guests can choose from several fragrances — it's a small but thoughtful detail and a lovely souvenir idea. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel's location couldn't be more convenient, especially for travellers catching early flights — it took only about 10 minutes to reach our airline's check-in counter after checking out. The hotel also provides easy access to Tokyo's major shopping areas like Shibuya and Tokyo Station. We'll certainly be back on our next visit to Haneda!

Just a five‑minute walk from the international arrivals exit at HND Terminal 3, Hotel Villa Fontaine Premier is a luxury‑category hotel. The check‑in counter is located just past the large automatic doors, near the elevators. I usually stay at Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand when I arrive at HND or the night before departing, but I'd always wanted to try the Premier. Compared with the Grand, everything feels upgraded and more comfortable—larger rooms, complimentary alcoholic drinks in the mini‑fridge, and the onsen fee included. Because of my travel budget, I'll have to go back to staying at the Grand when I'm at HND, but I'll definitely look for another chance to stay at the Premier again someday

If you need a room for an early flight, this is an excellent choice. It's connected to Haneda Terminal 3 via a bridge (you will walk for a bit but it's all flat floor so you can roll your bags all the way to either lift or escalators up to the check in floor). There are shops along the route including a convenience store and other shops you could buy souvenirs (not just cheap and cheerful) and places to eat. Rates were reasonable. To achieve these rates, check in is semi-self service with you inputting your reservation details and staff assisting at the end. Check out was also semi-self service with you returning the room key to the machine to record you've checked out. The hotel has 1,500 rooms so they likely need this automation to be able to manage. You can add breakfast and there were also places to eat in the hotel. Room was comfortable and there was an air purifier, luggage rack and multiple outlets to charge your devices. Not the largest of rooms and bath is unit bath so not the largest but most guests are not expected to be spending a lot of time in the room anyway. There is a spa in the hotel complex with a view apparently. If you plan to sight see Yokohama, this might work out well so long as you're ok taking the train. For very short trips, you might actually save time staying here as you could drop your bags and head off. Would stay again.

This was another fantastic stay—an easy 10/10 experience. We were a family of four across two rooms, and it's not our first time here. Whenever we come to Tokyo, we choose this hotel. Don't be put off by the “airport hotel” label. It's actually super convenient: - Ginza is about 20 minutes by taxi or around 30 minutes by train. - Getting around the city is easy with trains, buses, and taxis right downstairs. The hotel is very clean, quite new, and the service is excellent. Our favorite part is the natural hot spring. It's complimentary for guests and genuinely top-notch—spacious with both indoor and outdoor areas. Outside, there are three large pools; inside, multiple pools plus dry sauna and steam options. It's such a treat after a day out in Tokyo. There's also a 24-hour restaurant connected to the bath area, so you can grab food even late at night. Overall, this is my no-brainer choice in Tokyo. Consistently convenient, spotless, great service, and an incredible onsen. Highly recommended for families and frequent travelers alike.

I LOVE this hotel! I rarely leave hotel reviews, but this place is so great. I felt compelled at 3 AM to write this. We got in last night after our long haul flight from the US, and took the bus from Narita to Haneda as we have an early morning flight to Hokkaido. I decided to stay one night at the Villa Fontaine Premiere to break up the trip and am I so happy we did! We took the airport limo to terminal 3, and walked to the hotel after stopping at my favorite, Lawson, to get riceballs and Japanese sandwiches YUM! The walk through the Haneda mall to the hotel entrance was about 10 minutes, and so fun to look at shops along the way. The entrance is grand, and has the feel of a high end hotel. The front desk staff are all fluent in English (doesn't matter to me because I speak Japanese) and extremely friendly. She walked us through all the amenities which includes the fitness center, onsen (Hot Springs - tattoo friendly!) on the rooftop, and the mini bar was completely complementary including alcoholic bevs (I don't drink but still that's awesome). Upon entering the room, everything looks brand new. It's spacious, super clean, a long sofa by the window, Keurig machine, but best of all is the bathroom. There was, of course, the fancy Toto bidet, a separate shower with excellent water pressure which was much needed after the long trip, and a very deep Japanese soaking tub with a shower as well. They thought of everything here - the toiletries include full-size toothbrushes with toothpaste, mouthwash, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash that made my hair and skin feel exquisite - my hair hasn't felt this soft in ages (so of course I'm bringing the products with me haha). There's also travel size facial products in packets, full-size travel hairbrushes that were sealed in plastic, and so many other touches. There was even a phone charger with all of the different cord types. There is a flashlight in the room. I'm sure there's some other stuff. I haven't even seen yet. I'm so happy we stayed here, super comfortable bed, linens and pillows, very, very quiet, even though we are right next to the airport. I hope the rest of the hotels that I've booked for this 10 day trip across the country are as good because if not, I'm going to be sorely disappointed! They also have room service, complimentary wifi, bathrobes and slippers for going to the spa/ onsen and even pajamas! We were all too tired to even make it up to the 12th floor which is a bummer, so I can't speak for the facilities but I'm sure they are amazing. There is also a spa on the 12th floor and prices are super reasonable! massages at a hotel of this caliber in the states would probably run $200 to $300 an hour- here at the current exchange rate they are around $75. I wish I had time for one! Would not hesitate to stay here again, actually contemplating to stay here the night before our return flight to the US.

We wanted to stay at the airport for our last night in Tokyo. I am so glad we stayed here, very relaxing and fun with the Haneda Airport Garden shops and restaurants. Check in was super easy with a kiosk, help if you needed it! Our room had a double bed with a small couch along the window, you could see Tokyo's skyline and planes taking off and landing. It was a quick walk to our gate in the morning, super easy and convenient. There was also a convenient store right outside the hotel. After we checked in, we walked around the “mall” and had an amazing dinner at Hanayama Udon. We loved it!

Very nice hotel at Haneda Airport to stay overnight for an early morning flight. Rooms are tiny but very well thought out. The bathroom was also small but the shower was roomy and good. Very clean and zero noise. Amenities were fine and staff were great. Restaurants and shopping in the complex were good.

The hotel is clean and relatively comfortable. As mentioned elsewhere, a lot of quirks and local mindset. Minimal international tv, handling many basic needs can be challenging (like laundry). One problem that jumped out at me as 11am check out time. I asked if noon was possible. Was quite an additional charge of 30,000 yen, or $215. Really ridiculous. Left a bad taste in the mouth. This is not up to international standards.

For a hotel located at the airport and in a metropolis like Tokyo, the hotel lacks management that thinks about international guests. It is in the details that this hotel loses its way, for example, there are no sweeteners at breakfast; the toaster needs to be programmed and only has the option in Japanese, and this is just one example. In short, a very local mindset for someone who serves global guests. The restaurant is also not very good, both for breakfast and dinner (the food is not tasty). The hotel, however, has an excellent location next to Haneda Airport, is clean, the staff is very courteous and has good facilities; especially the spa with baths and sauna (very relaxing). I would return to this hotel for the convenience and the spa, but only for that.

We had an early morning international departure and chose this hotel for its proximity to Terminal 3 and the fact you could reach it easily by an internal pathway. They have kiosk check-in but there are staff to assist who speak English well. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. A mini-mart with extended hours is practically at the entrance so convenient to purchase snacks & drinks. There is a good selection of restaurants on the level below the entrance to this hotel.

The hotel was very clean as was the superb room and bathroom. The bathroom was really lovely and had lots of very useful extras such as toothbrush and hairdrier, etc. I didn't like the time the room was available - 3pm in the afternoon when we arrived at 7.30 am in the morning - we had to wait nearly 8 hours after a 14hr. flight from the uk. We were told to just sit in the lounge and wait. There was no water or drinks and the shops didn't open until 10am. It was truly awful.

Perfect hotel for an early flight. Efficient and friendly check in, comfortable rooms and ideal location in terminal 3. Rooms are a bit on the small side (and unusual configuration) but it does just what it needs to do. Comfortable and stylish bar as well.

Arriving at this hotel, you come in through the airport and on the right there is a big group of kiosks, which when I arrived was crowded with people and their luggage and children. That is the "Grand" side of the hotel, and I was super happy at that point that I'd booked the "Premier" side and turned to the left, went through a set of doors into a super quiet area, and was able to speak to two very sweet Japanese women to drop my luggage. Haneda's the nicest airport I've ever been to for whiling away some time, with good shopping, restaurants, and a stunning observation deck. There's a Lawson just outside the hotel as well. Service was very good, and the room was large and comfortable. I didn't try the onsen, as I haven't done it yet, and I didn't want my first experience to potentially be a crowded airport onsen. Breakfast was ok, not great, but there are lots of great options for food nearby in the airport. I would stay here again next time I'm flying in or out of Haneda.
