Best Western Centralhotellet

I really appreciated staying at this very comfortable and cosy hotell. The staff was very helpful, the lobby held some nice snacks and the breakfast was very good! The bed was actually adjustable, you could control how the hardness of different parts of the bed. Highly appreciated, Swedish hotel beds are often quite hard and this was an very nice break from that!

The hotel are well located in the small town. Older standard hotel with budget renovated bathrooms. The car park at the hotel was full so we were directed to paid parking nearby. However, we found free 24 hour parking on the street Esplanaden about 100 meters away. Our room was on the ground floor overlooking the courtyard where guests sat and talked, luckily that part closed at 22:00. Ceiling fan and refrigerator in the room. OK breakfast.

Great location! Staff was friendly and informative. The room was clean, fresh and comfortable. We took a dog room as we traveled with our dog. It was the only hotel within Sweden that had such a nice dog room for us.It was not one of those rooms were everything is broken, damaged or laying w layers of dirt and durst left behind by poor cleaning, care and lack of respect because it is a "dog room". It was nice to be able to walk in our socks and not have them be stiff from the dirt off the floor. Location is a stone's throw away from everything. Water and city centre are just there a few steps away. It was a very safe location, quiet and welcoming. You get more than you expect staying at this hotel. Too many now just dot care but you can tell that everyone at this location has a finger on the pulse of the heart of this hotel!

Nice, small hotel, partly renovated. Service from staff is excellent, rooms are ok and have the things you need. Fast wifi and free parking (only 9 spaces, though). Breakfast is good with smoothie, gingershots and many other things. Free bikes as well. We liked it here, and the hotel is well situated in the center of Vestervik.

Excellent accommodation, very good breakfast, comfortable rooms, friendly staff. Best place in town, to be at home away from home. Absolutely my choice to stay when i'm in town for business and pleasure.

Newly renovated hotel close to the train station. Some rooms are in the cellar with small windows by the ceiling. All is nice and clean and staff is friendly. Breakfast buffet very nice and coffee is good.

Nice hotel with good price level. Close to city center and restaurants, good parking facilities. Silent dring night and good quality of sleep. Breakfast is enough and everything on the breakfast are fresch.

Fantastic staff, clean and nice decorated rooms, fantastic breakfast. A nice place to stay when away from home. I travel a lot but never stayed in a hotel with such a friendly staff and employees, and rooms to feel at home. This is the place to stay if I'm in this area, no doubt. Little hotel with great potential and character.

Very nice hotel that i would gladly stay at again. very good service and great breakfeast. the room where very good and clean. tha location is great and near the water and many resturants to go and have a great dinner.

I stayed here for 3 nights in economy single room located in the basement. The room is good with a nice bed, a chair, desk, refridgerator, tv, hairdryer and a fresh bathroom. The breakfast is good and has something for everyone. The hotel also has a sauna with a small relaxarea where they have a tv, supernintendo and comfy chairs to sit in. The staff is welcoming and helpful. Overall a good hotel!

we enjoyed a lot the fact that there is no elevator and the hotel keeps its traditional decorative style of the stairs and corridors. the room and bathroom were spacey and the bed is excellent. the free hot beverages at the reception hall create a certain type relaxed atmosphere.

As a retired couple from Florida traveling in Sweden in the winter we appreciate places that are easy to access. We loved the parking availability in the back courtyard. We arrived without a reservation and we're given the front corner room, which was perfect, large and comfortable with a view. The staff was terrific, helpful and friendly. We were more than happy.

I stopped here on my way to Kalmar and I am so happy I did. The hotel is not extraordinary, just a small town hotel, clean with friendly staff and decent breakfast, nothing to write home about it. What impressed me was its location and the old town. It a a small gem not mentioned anywhere. The hotel is located close to the sea, right in front of a small but beautiful park (see my pictures). Passed the park is a beautiful curch, I went to it, they call it Sankt Petri. It was closed for the day. The hotel is also steps away to the old town...and that is what I loved. simply lovely. cobbled roads, old home, nice pubs and very clean main plaza. See my pictures attached. I am so happy I got tired driving and decided to stop here for the afternoon. lucky call. If you didn't see this town yet I strongly suggest you stop by and visit it :)

I've been there for two nights. Small hotel for business trips, not for long staying. I was in the room under the base level. I could see restaurant floor from my window. No sun through the window, because walls are around the room. Small rooms, but clean and quite. Poor breakfast bufet in the morning. Average accomodation. There is a nice church on the oposite side of the hotel. Close to the city center and marina.

Easy access in the near of the city center. Nice rooms, ok breakfast and very serviceminded staff. Clean room, a bit warm but that was due to the exeptional weather. No air conditioning in the room, but open windows and door took care of the most heat.

My wife and I stayed there for 2 nights in July 2014. Location was ideal as it is on quiet square across from beautiful old church, but within waling distance from marina area, shops and attractions. Hotel is small and cosy, but rooms are good size. Despite being there in warmest part of this is summer, room as not hot and ceiling fan sufficient. Staff were really nice when necessary. Breakfast is good and great to be able to eat outside in the morning. One minor issue, is that cleaning service seems to be done in the afternoon, which might cause problem if you arrive early or want access to your room in the afternoon. Overall very good experience and Vastervik is beautiful place!
