Best Western Plus Canyon Pines

Overall a pleasant experience but felt it was a bit "pricy" BUT then so are most other hotel chains in the area. I feel this is possibly due to the world climate with INflation and the economy; also the fact most people are forcing employers to raise wages to keep them AS employees and therefore the companies are FORCED to pass on those costs to "US" patrons who stay there. Also would like the Best Westen Hotel chain and their other subsidaries to consider making the standard check out time more in line with several other Hotel Chains that we frequent, THAT bieng NOON vs 11AM!

This is an economical and convenient place to stay for skiing at Snow Basin. It's about a 22-minute drive from the resort, and also near Ogden and freeways. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. I recommend this hotel for skiers.

We were skiing at SnowBasin and wanted somewhere to stay that wasn't too far. The hotel was in a professional park (gyms and businesses) right by the freeway and highway. Not the prettiest location but close to the freeway, not too far from old town Ogden with tons of restaurants and shopping. There was a train close by but it didn't disturb our sleep.

The hotel was convenient for skiing at Snowbasin. About 20 minute drive. Breakfast was good with waffles, eggs and bacon. Coffee was good as well. Staff was friendly. Hot tub was hot. Room with two queens was fairly large.

Our stay was fantastic, friendly staff, great room. The room was quite, clean and dark. Hotel amenities were plenty. Breakfast was delicious, hot, and lots of variety. Many other quests commented during breakfast how good it was. Great place to stay.

Hotel was built in 2009, very nicely decorated, front desk staff (Dan) very helpful with restaurants, and area. We had a king room-plenty of room, comfortable, bathroom especially nice and clean! Free breakfast was great; make your own breakfast burrito, waffles, assorted fruits and cereals. All stocked and clean.

I really appreciated the decor, & holiday decorations were tasteful. Everyone was helpful & friendly. I wish every hotel/motel was this clean & accommodating. Breakfast was as plentiful at the end as in the beginning.

This was a last minute decision to stay at this hotel on a trip to Utah. The facility was clean, the staff were nice and the breakfast was better than expected. Everything went well as could be expected.

Beautiful hotel, thought it was brand new. The rooms were excellent and the best part was the beds were very comfortable! The ease of getting on and off the interstate is a big plus for those of us who live in rural communities and the entrance wasn't even a block away. It is also close to store and shopping in Ogden on the same road it is located on and there is a Star Bucks right across the street.

Convenient, Clean, & great Breakfast! Perfect for what we needed. Very close to the mouth of the canyon. The hotel has its own set of streetlights for easy access to Highway 89. If staying in the winter, pack warm. We are used to the cold but that was something else. Our car had battery problems; it was so cold.

Stunningly good surprise for an unplanned stay. The hotel is neer (new?), spotless, with amazing front desk staff. I was only there one night but when I drive the same route in two months I will plan to stay there.

Manager and desk staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty as well. The selection was good and the staff very friendly. The selection did run a little light as it got closer to shutting down the breakfast.

Dan was the front desk agent when we arrived at 11:30 PM. Met us with a friendly smile and a warm greeting. Was great with my girls, offered us water and made the check in process easy and enjoyable. Dan brought us up a nice rollaway for my daughter when we realized we only had a king bed room and there was three of us. Room was clean and smelled good.

Staff were absolutely amazing! Comfortable bed. Price value of stay was great. Our room looked as if a pet may have been allowed in it. The carpet needed a deep clean.There were noises from property HVAC or other outside equipment that entered our room placing the A/C fan to "ON" successfully drowned the noise out.

Very convenient right off the highway. The rooms are oversized with high ceilings. Comfortable bed and clean room. Had a room right next to the gym/pool and there was no strong scent of chlorine like I was worried about.

The hotel is beautiful full of wood and pictures of old Utah. The check-in was a breeze. The room was fantastic. The beds and pillows are my favorite now I'm going to buy a new mattress! The indoor pool looked fantastic. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. Overall it was a wonderful stay and I will definitely be back.

Won't stay here again. Weird check in guy, told us park where you can. Looked around, and there is no parking at the hotel in the normal way. Rooms were not comfortable, just a bad stay all around. Will try other hotels in Ogden. Plus, it is a difficult place to get into, bad siting for a motel.

Very short drive to Dee Event Center. Lots of places to find good restaurants nearby. Not far from SLC, UT. Parking was a little congested, but motel was filled to capacity. The lady who prepared breakfast was diligent and did a great job with the food. The room was extremely clean. Rooms were quiet at night so getting to sleep was easy. TV was very good.

Great place in a good location. Hotel was well kept. Pool area was clean and easy to access. Same with the fitness center. Breakfast was well organized and had a good variety. Employee kept everything well stocked and clean.

We were very pleased with our stay at this BW property. The staff was exceptionally helpful. There are not many dining options near by but the clerk had good suggestions for us. The pool and hot tub were clean and warm. The grounds were very pretty and well kept. The breakfast was a step above the standard offering. Try the fresh yogurt machine, delicious! If in the area this is an excellent choice.

I love staying at this hotel one it is convenient right off the highway. Plus we always check in after 4:00 and it seems to be always down the customer service guy he is amazing and always makes you feel welcomed

We are seniors and the rude night attendant should not be working for your fine hotels. Very poor in customer service. I have been in customer service industry for 40 years and his lack of consideration and empathy should be addressed by his employer. We have traveled across the states staying in Best Western hotels and this is the worst experience we have had in your facility.

We needed a place to stay for a few nights in the midst of a move and this was perfectly located for our frequent trips to Mountain Green. Our room was large, the breakfast was good, we loved being able to relax in the hot tub after our day of moving. Staff was friendly and helpful. This would be a great place to stay for a ski trip to Snowbasin or Powder Mountain. Liked the proximity to Ogden for restaurants.

We have stayed at this hotel many times. It has always been clean and the staff is very helpful. They serve a good breakfast as well. We have not used the pool or workout areas but they look good. I would highly recommend.

Our room was very well set up and comfortable, housekeeping staff had done a great job of preparing for new guests and everything was spotless and working! Enjoyed the staff in the breakfast area as well as the food.

This property was in excellent condition and meticulously maintained. Rooms were clean, nicely decorated, smelled good & free of odors. Excellent breakfast with many hot and cold food choices, including vegan alternatives such as non-dairy milk substitutes. Friendly and responsive staff!

My husband and I went on a road trip for two weeks and stayed at a variety of hotels. We discovered that staying at other hotels meant that it was going to be hit-or-miss whether or not we would get any sleep. However, when we stayed at a Best Western, we consistently slept well and were very comfortable.

Save yourself the grief and inconvenience of booking here. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. We had to make an unexpected trip due to a death in the family. This was our last hotel stay after a week of hotel stays and driving 13 hours. My husband and I have just been married and I didn't get the chance to change my last name on my credit card. The clerk refused to give us a room because my last name was different on my card. I explained our situation to Angelo and was met with "i don't care", he was concerned about fraud. I offered any form of identification to prove my identity. He would only accept a credit card with a last name that matched my ID. I could. Ot produce this. During my explanation of our circumstances he began to laugh telling us it didn't matter. We were exhausted and I began to cry realizing we had to find a different hotel to stay for the night in a strange town. Angelo continued to laugh and was rude when I asked why he was laughing. When asked if we would charged for the room the response was "you bet I will" as he laughed. Checked my bank this morning and sure enough he did. I understand policy but do not understand the rude, unprofessional, arrogant lack of compassion from one working in the hospitality industry. We promptly headed over to a competitor and had a wonderful stay. Unfortunately, this hotel has stained the good name of Best Western and we will not seek this chain out in the future.

Very pleasant stay with friendly staff, clean roomy accomodations, excercise equipment and excellent breakfast options. Very good value. Only slight negative was the air a bit noisy and outside wind noise (canyon effect) for sleep comfort.

Nice hotel, helpful staff. Conveniently located between Layton and Ogden. Nice clean rooms but lack electrical outlets if you have multiple items to charge. Breakfast is typical hotel but is the same every day, not great for long term stay I would stay here again.

Clean room and facilities, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms have fridge and microwave, and the hotel offers a small selection of food items for sale at the front desk - ice cream, frozen dinners - in addition to typical vending items. Hot breakfast items were regularly restocked - and there was almond milk available! Good for a quick overnight stay near the highway, but there's not a lot right around the hotel.

I stayed here in May of 2022. The room was very clean, it was surprisingly quiet, and located within 7 miles driving distance of Ogden, Riverdale, Roy, Clearfield, and Layton. This is definitely the best value in northern Utah.

The pillows on the beds were a third of the size that they probably had been at one time. I understand that due to Covid it is hard to keep housekeeping staff, but our floors had hair and dirt all over them. So much so that we had to ask for a vacuum so we could vacuum our own floors. This was due to not having additional staff. It also looks like the room had not been dusted in quite some time. The breakfast that was served daily was adequate, but could have a few more fruit and healthier options.

Rooms are not real big but everything was working and nice and clean. Every hotel employee we had interaction with was very helpful and friendly. We slept the best in this hotel than any previous stay. We found the beds very comfortable.

This is a very nice hotel that appears to be quite new. The area around the hotel seems to be developing as far as restaurants go. Our room was spacious and spotless! It was quiet and comfortable. The only thing I would like would be an earlier start to breakfast. We are always on the road and like to get an early start. 6:30 breakfast is just a bit late for us. Coffee is available in your room, but not downstairs until 6:30. The only place to eat close by is Burger King.

We stopped here for one night while driving from Snowbird to Big Sky. Rooms were spacious and clean. Quiet area. Parking was very convenient. And we really enjoyed the full breakfast. Good selection for our whole family. Would stay here again.

Very nice weekend at this property. Friendly staff. Clean rooms and super accommodating. Offered a crib and late check out so my daughter could nap. Quiet hotel. Good breakfast. Very nice people and good location

Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Loved that fitness center let me bring my kids(they love coming to the gym with me but are too young for most places). Great breakfast and beds. Good location and friendly staff.

We really enjoyed our stay there . We skied all week at Snowbasin and the hot tub and pool were perfect for relaxing after ski. The breakfast was really good and the staff wonderful! And the location was perfect for going to the mountain!

I would stay here again. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly and helpful, the beds were comfortable and breakfast was fresh and plentiful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this area.

We have stayed at this hotel half a dozen times. It is only 25 minutes from our home, but we like to go out & break up the daily routine on occasion. We choose this location because it is a clean, comfortable hotel with great service. We love to use it as our quick getaway

I spent 3 nights at the Best Western Plus Canyon Pines. They were nights 32-34 of a 35 night 10,000 mile road trip. One of the better rooms at a very affordable price. Great location I had the oil changed in my Jeep next door. Staff were great. All in all just a great place to stay.

We enjoyed this very nice motel with good pool and Jacuzzi. Everything worked, room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was good, and staff was pleasant and helpful. Because of our experience here we used Best Western whenever it was available for the rest of our trip. What more could you ask?

This is the second time we stayed at this location in 6 weeks. It is easy to find with plenty of dining options nearby. Staff is very friendly. The breakfast was good. Our room was great! The theme in the lobby is well done.

Very nice hotel just off the highway (easy drive into downtown SLC), great location to SlC, Bountiful and the airport. Clean hotel, great breakfast, clean rooms. Pool was great and overall quiet hotel.

We discovered this hotel a couple years ago in traveling between Oregon & Colorado. We've stayed here 3 times as it has always been clean; it has easy freeway access, and an enjoyable breakfast. We also appreciate that it has a jacuzzi.

Staff here was great, room was clean and nice, breakfast is my only complaint, it wasn't horrible but the french toast sticks which I picked because I don't eat meat on Friday's were not very good. Other than that, it was a great place to lay our heads as we enjoyed activities in the surrounding area.

This Best Western Plus property is one of the best in terms of price, cleanliness, and service. It's location right off of Interstate 84 in the Ogden area is also a plus. The staff is friendly and helpful.

This was a very enjoyable stay that exceeded all my expectations. Considering covid restrictions, the breakfast was very good with adequate supplies of both hot and cold items.My only negative point would be lack of parking. The interior is beautiful, well appointed and well maintained. Our room was immaculate and well appointed and very comfortable. One thing we noticed was how neat and orderly it was. Small details like the way items were placed on the vanity (there is a difference between "putting" and "placing" items - you "put" something randomly but you "place" something in a designated place with intent and accuracy). Small things show pride and intent like the small "bumper" on the wall next to the door that acts as a stop to keep the night latch from marring the wall. I comment the management for their effort. THIS IS THE REASON THAT I ALWAYS STAY AT BEST WESTERN. Good job!!!

This hotel was a wonderful find. Not only is the scenery around it beautiful but it was easy to find, but tucked away from the highway. The staff was wonderful and friendly, especially the breakfast attendant. Which leads me to, breakfast was amazing. The best I've had at a hotel since covid started. Check in was easy, as was check out. Room was extremely spacious with many extra amenities but also very affordable. The pool and hot tub are big for a hotel this size and while we were there, we had it to ourselves. Lots of extra places to sit for a chat and located next to a lot of roadways.

Very clean hotel with comfortable beds, friendly staff, and terrific breakfasts. The parking is the only downside to this hotel, there is not enough parking for hotel guests and you end up parking in the strip mall parking. Also, lots of cars from Smitty's Tires park in the hotel parking making matters worse.

Pretty clean and VERY friendly. We especially enjoyed that the pool and hot tub were not over chlorinated like most hotels tend to be. Only minor concerns were that sheets had crumbs on pull out bed and there was no blanket readily provided in the room for the pull out bed.

SUPER nice cleaning team! But while the room was clean "enough," the bed was comfortable "enough," & nearby amenities were convenient "enough," overall the very tired furniture and carpets were a turn-off. No doubt we'll return, but aren't overly inspired to book Best Western hotels as a brand. We *especially* appreciated the Burger King and Starbucks right across the street from the hotel! Since it is Christmas-time, we simply needed a place to sleep while visiting family during the day.

Check in and check out was speedy. Room was clean, quiet, and met expectations. Lobby was welcoming and comfortable to sit in while I waited for my dinner to be delivered. Being near a train line, the noise level from outside was minimal and non intrusive. Thought the hotel was easy to find from the highway. Good value for what I got. Loved there was a couch and coffee table in the room so I didn't have to eat my dinner sitting on the bed. Overall, I am happy with my stay.

We've stayed here before on our last trip and would stay here again. The hotel is close to freeway (89) and is very nice, especially for the price we paid. The rooms are very big and clean. If you are concerned about the pandemic, they do NOT require masks for guests in public areas. We saw some without masks so felt a bit unsafe.

Very nice hotel, rooms were clean and beds were comfy. Pool was open, they offered hot breakfast or a grab and go sack. We did grab and go which contained an apple, granola bar, 2 pack mini muffins, napkin, and a bottle of water. Fridge and microwave available in room.

We had booked our stay before the COVID-19 outbreak and we're concerned that it might not be safe to travel. Best Western adjusted our arrival after the airline changed our travel times and provided a hot breakfast every morning without fail in a safe method for all. The hotel, pool, fitness room and laundry room were always in impeccable condition.

Very nice decor. Clean Room and Comfortable. Everything needed for a 4 night stay. Would definitely stay there again. Perfect location with local shopping near by. Pool and laundry a plus! Will be perfect when hot breakfast can be offered again.

Kudo's for the staff and property. Breakfast selection could have been better, but understand no-contact and social distancing present an issue when trying to offer a breakfast meal. Great value as usual, been staying with BW for personal and business since 1996.

You have to stay here if in northern Utah. Beautifully decorated room ,The bed was great fell asleep right away.the layout of the room is perfect friendly staff and easy in and out. the location is between Hwy 84 and Hwy 89

My husband and I take one night a month to get away from the house and enjoy each others company. This location was a new one for us and it met all our needs! Room was clean. Staff was exceptional and I'm sure we'll visit again!

I asked hotel to change rooms because the room was right next to the laundry maid closet and it was very noisy all night. I also advise the front desk that the room was dirty stains on the bed made me uncomfortable because of the chemicals they might've use to clean up the stains that were on the bed I asked if I could move rooms but they said there was no rooms available and the only option they gave me was to go somewhere else because they had nothing available for me and would not do anything for me so they let me stay in a dirty room for three nights and will not refund or give me any compensation for the dirty and uncomfortable room and I had to stay in. I I think there was bugs in the room because I was itching all night bite on my body

Room was clean and spacious, staff was very pleasant. Breakfast was a nice amenity, and had good protein options. Coffee was hot, fresh, and plentiful. The woman in charge of the breakfast did a fantastic job and clearly took pride in providing a quality experience.

Friendly reception upon arrival. Got a room on top floor as requested. Spacious King bed room with sofa, coffee table, desk and chair, dresser, small fridge with freezer shelf, microwave. Very clean and comfortable for my four-day stay in Ogden. Close by are freight train tracks and route #89, both have night time and early morning traffic on weekdays, but less noise on weekends. Nice breakfast served in large dining room with friendly staff. Sausage, bacon, eggs, toasts, bagels, waffles, muffins, yogurt, granola, juices and good coffee.

I just returnbed home from four nights at this Best Western. Everyone on the staff was fantastic and did whatever they could to make my stay as nice as possible. I would have given five instead of four rating if it wasn't for the trsin noise day and night. I heard someone checking in the day before I left and asking for a room on the opposite side of the building from the train tracks. I did not know to ask. The breakfasts were great, the staff was terrific, the pool and hot tub were nice, the room was clean and very good and the price was fantastic for what I got.

Great property, location and staff. Great value too. I was travelling back from Colorado, to California. And this stop was perfect. Starbucks coffee and Burguer king across the street. 20' to snowbasin ski resort. Definitely worth the little detour north from Salt Lake

The swimming area was very cleanly and well maintained.The sauna temperature and switch were perfect. The room was well maintained. Given the snow overnight, the temperature was easy to increase when the room started to cool off.

We traveled from Baltimore to Seattle. We were driving for at least 12 hours a day. Arrived in the dark and left in the dark. The lobby w as lovely, decorated for Christmas. The highlight though was the bed itself. And the pillows. I am a fan of the many smaller pillows for sure. I slept so well and all through the night! It was a blessing to get such good rest for the rest of our driving adventure. Thank you!

The breakfast is delicious, the jacuzzi and swimming pool and the rooms , I feel so comfortable, and the staff is so friendly. This hotel is the best. And off course I will be back. I can't wait to relaxed in this beautiful hotel.

Great place for a fun get away! We were on a girls weekend! The room was great, staff was helpful and the pools and hot tub were a fun relaxing end to the day! The hot breakfast had lots of variety so everyone was happy!

We enjoyed our visit. The room was clean and in good condition, and the service was excellent. There was a train track right by the property, which worried us at first, but we did not hear it from our room. We did, however, hear the horn when we were in the pool. Maybe it was because it was on the opposite side of the building (the one closer to the train), or maybe it was just that the rooms we better insulated.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone passing thru the area. The staff is excellent and the rooms are exceptional. The view is wonderful and it's just a short drive into town or you can access the highway right there and drive through the mountains.

We were very pleased with the size of the room and the option of having a couch and a chair to use. The hotel was very quiet and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well. Good stay for three nights. Good breakfasts.

This hotel has easy access to the interstate. Usual amenities. Room was clean and quiet, although I found the pillows extremely uncomfortable. Parking is located in front of the hotel off the street. I did use the gym. Lights were on a motion sensor and since I was riding a bike they did shut off in the middle of my workout. Glad I wasn't running on the treadmill. No sanitary wipes to wipe down equipment. Would I stay here again? Yes, but I'd bring my own pillow.

We have stayed at this hotel every year for the past six years and have never been disappointed. It is always clean, quiet, and has easy to access from main highway. Their breakfast area is decently sized with a nice variety of foods and beverages.

My wife and I stay here every March and April as she goes to a sewing retreat and I golf in Morgan. This is a standard Best Western and you get what you expect, which is what I desire. Easy access from freeway and the only place in the area worth staying.

We stayed here for two nights while on vacation in the area. We chose it based on location for the things we wanted to see and for the price. We were not disappointed. The impression is always important and the lobby was beautifully decorated and furnished. The front desk person was friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. A bonus was the window looked out over the mountains. The lights of cars and trains circling the mountain at night were fascinating to watch. Breakfast both mornings was good and it was nice to have REAL plates for a change. We also enjoyed using the pool and hot tub area.

We were displaced by a flood in our home and stayed here because it was close to our home. It was such a pleasant surprise to find understanding, caring staff, nice, clean rooms, great pool, and a decent breakfast. My only complaint is that the bathrooms need more places to hang towels.

We spend 60-70 nights of leisure travel in Best Western properties annually so, as a Diamond Select member, have an abundance of familiarity with the chain. For being a "Plus" property, it falls squarely in the middle of that category and really has nothing to distinguish it. While the location is convenient to the highway, it is not especially close to restaurants. Fast food places are available with a short drive, as is a Walmart. Staff was lacking in verbal Rewards recognition: there was no " thanks for your business" to get our stay off on the right foot. The property is clean, but the shower drain was clogged in our room. It was remedied by housekeeping, however. The breakfast was of average hot/cold variety, and seating was adequate. The breakfast attendant was diligent in her duties, but seemingly uninspired. WIFI was adequate as were sheets and towels. However, customer service is a bit lacking. I asked at the front desk for some assistance with my Best Western Rewards account, but the clerk asserted she could not help without making a phone call, which she seemed reluctant to make. A few days before at a different Best Western Plus, the desk clerk got the information I requested without any hesitation, so I found this lack of assistance to be a bit annoying. So, because really is nothing that stands out about this property to distinguish it from others, I can rate it as being merely average in my experience..

Always clean and the friendliest staff you ever have met. I have stayed with the hotel 1-2 nights a week for the past year and a half . My company allows me to chose a hotel, never changed to another hotel since this hotel has been everything I could of wanted.

This hotel is located near the interstate right on US 89 and is very easy to find. I booked a room for 4 nights with 2 queen beds. The room was clean and organized. The beds were comfortable and the desk was nice to have to be able to use my laptop during my stay. The service provided by staff was wonderful and professional. The breakfast was pretty good and used actual plates and real silverware, which made it seem much more classy. The only downside to the breakfast was that things were running out almost every morning and I had to wait to get some of the hot items because they were being prepared, so I made sure I allotted extra time for breakfast after the first morning so that I could enjoy the hot items. Overall I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and I would consider staying here again in the future.

Staff is always friendly and rooms are clean. It was quick to check in as well as check out. The breakfast was serviced on time. We stay here every year for our business trip and don't look anywhere else.

The room was okay. Very large king room with fridge and microwave, workspace and chairs without nasty fabric on them. The carpet was not the best but I kept my shoes on. The bed was a little soft but had good pillows. The towels were very rough and I dislike having to search for the hair dryer. Meanwhile the coffee maker sits on the sink, really. Breakfast, while warm, was awful. The eggs looked nice and fluffy but were hard and I couldn't eat them. The dry biscuits should have been helped by gravy but it was congealed and tasteless. The sausage links were burnt. I don't make my reservations so not sure how it compares to others in the area. It is next to the highway and noisy in the morning but ok for sleeping. Also the outlet on the lamp did not work and my phone was near dead in the morning. Thank goodness my alarm went off!

We have stayed at this location multiple times. The staff are friendly, attentive, the free breakfast is great, and the pool is wonderful. The rooms are very clean and updated. Service is their #1 goal.

always a pleasant consistent stay...staff will help out in almost every request...very clean & gernerally quiet...cliose to alot of new restaurants nearby..will be staying there again....local & national newspapers available...

Best Western is the place to go when driving long distances across the West. The staff is welcoming and the rooms more than clean and comfortable. You need this after a long drive of six hours or more.

Spacious, kind staff, laundry (needed!), and breakfast. Bed a bit lumpy. Desk staff gave great dinner recommendation. Great place after a day on the road. Looking forward to more Best Western stays soon.

Checked in about 10:00 pm. Desk clerk was very nice and friendly. The beds in the room are SO comfortable - so much so, that I checked to see what kind of mattress it is. Not too firm and not too soft. Breakfast was good - the usual standard fair, but hot and filling. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very nice rooms. Great place to stay. The staff are very friendly, the breakfast is good. The rooms are nice and clean. It is a little bit from the airport but is easy to get there. It is close to lagoon which is a fun place to go. There isnt much right there but 5 mins up the road is south ogden with restaurants etc.

The hotel is very clean and has a nice breakfast the only thing it's quite a ways from town. Driving distance to great restaurants. Only stayed 1 night.. indoor pool. Small workout room, basic gym machines. Staff were very courteous.

We were running the Morgan Valley Utah Marathon and this was one of the close hotels. It is clean, staff is friendly. No restaurants within walking distance however it is right beside a major highway. Breakfast was typical eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy. Cereal, coffee juice, banana's waffles. Parking is ok not a whole lot but we always found a place. Small pool and hot tub.

I have stayed a quite a few Best Western Plus locations and have always been happy with the experience, so you can imagine my suprise at this location. To start the parking was anything but adequate as we had to park behind the building in the auto repair shops parking lot. The facility is located in an industrial complex and there are no eating facilities close by. I must say that the staff, both front desk and housekeeping were of the same great quality as we have experienced in the past and the rooms were clean and properly taken care of for the guests. If you stay here be prepared to have a difficult time finding parking and have to drive some to get to an eating establishment.

Overall the hotel was just what was expected. The breakfast was better than expected with real plates and utensils. The towels were a bit scratchy but the shower had a high nozzle for taller patrons. Didn't get to the pool or hot tub but I say people enjoying themselves in the area. It was a quick in and out stay of one night.

Early check in was not a problem. Pleased with the room. Service very good. Free breakfast was very good. Easy access to Interstate. The location does not provide safe walking. Long distance to Ogden Restaurants.

My only suggestion would be to have an earlier check in time than 4:00. Because of an early arrival time at the airport, I went to the property early, around 1:30, and asked if my room was ready. The desk attendant checked and said it would be probably another hour and a half, even though the parking lot was nearly empty. Fortunately I have family that I visited, but an earlier time would have been more convenient.

Adjacent to IH 84, the location is excellent for travelers. Our room was spacious, well appointed,and clean. The bed was excellent and we slept well. The staff was courteous and helpful. The morning breakfast was very nice and had a variety of hot choices. Overall, we were well satisfied and felt this BW better than most and one we would happily use again.

I cannot say enough great things about this hotel! Every staff member was amazing from the front desk, to the maids, to the amazing lady who made our breakfast every morning! Breakfast was so good!!!!The amenities they offer are amazing, the hotel is so nice and clean it seems like a new hotel.

This hotel is a little out of our way when we visit Salt Lake, however it is worth it. Very quiet area but close to the Ogden area. It is a very nice Best Western. Clean rooms, great breakfast and helpful staff.

We decided to stop for the night in Ogden and looked at hotel reviews to decide where to stay at a decent price. Based on that, we chose to go off I-15 a little bit and stay at this place. Really glad we did. Staff were friendly and room was very good. Even though we didn't have a reservation, we got a room for a good price with BW members/AARP discount.

I stayed here last week when I needed to visit Ogden. This is a great hotel and I loved my stay here. I completely recommend it. I chose this hotel because it was close to the intersection of I 84 and Highway 89. The hotel is in a nice location close to the canyon if you need to go East on 84. However, downtown Ogden is a good 10-15 minutes away, if you need to be there. I was in a room facing South on the 3rd floor. I had a fairly nice view from my room, but I think a better view would have been on the East end of the building. The view really wasn't all that important to me, however. The room was very comfortable and I feel asleep very easily. The door to the bathroom was much wider than other hotels, and I liked the supply of soaps and toiletries. I had no problems with the wifi signal and I was able to get online easily when I needed to. Last thing - the breakfast was very good, and the variety was great. I stayed here 3 nights, and each morning there was a different selection of breakfast food. I would definitely stay here again if I need to be in the Ogden area.

The hotel is really nice, but if you are doing things in Ogden, and not skiing it is a bit further away than you may want. It is quiet and has both a hot tub. It is closer for the ski hills, but a ways to get to Ogden. Train goes directly behind the property and hot rods on I84 and US 89 can be heard. Room was nice, but have had as nice or nicer for less $'s. Overall a "B" grade.

Skied Snowbasin for a week. Great location, great breakfast and very nice staff. Hot tub after skiing was a nice bonus. Easy jump on I 84 to get through the canyon. We have stayed here in the past and would highly recommend.

Great hotel! Awesome location. A lot of activities and restaurants within 10-20 minute drive. The staff was very friendly, access the room was not only clean, but smelled great as well! We will definitely be staying here again.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The freezer in the room want the greatest, but everything else was great! Since we were leaving before breakfast time the front desk lady made us a great to go breakfast! Best fruit parfait I've ever had!

The property is easily accessible in Ogden Utah. The room was clean and comfortable. The hot tub in the room was also clean and very enjoyable after a long stay. Breakfast was a full breakfast - filling and very healthy. I would recommend this property to families, individuals, as well as other travelers!

Once again we had an enjoyable experience. We use this hotel to access Snowbasin ski area and found the beds comfortable, the hotel clean, the food good and the staff and service excellent. We stayed on a weekend and happened to be sharing the hotel with a large group having a family reunion with tons of young children. The pool was full and the breakfast had been cleaned out the first day we arrived. We witnessed the staff doing their best to keep up with the mess and the bad behavior of the parents who allowed their kids to take way more food than they needed to end up throwing it all in the trash. The manager pitched in to help and even though there was very little left to eat it was good and the next day they went out of their way to apologize and add lots of extras to make up for the day before.

We were passing through and chose the Best Western. We always great service at any best western we've stayed at! The ladies at the front desk we very helpful with restaurant suggestions. Would go back anytime!!

Had an overnight stay. Rooms big, comfortable. But best thing was the wonderful breakfast buffet! Would definitely recommend this place, although we had to drive quite far for dinner. Good choices though.

Easy access to/from highway, Powder Mountain, downtown Ogden, 25th street restaurants & shops. Comfortable & spacious room - always a plus when traveling with teens and extra gear for week of skiing. Breakfast included, typical juice, muffins, etc. indoor pool & jacuzzi.

This location worked fantasic for us. We only stayed one night so not sure what the area has to offer. We would definitely stay at this location again. Friendly and professional staff, great rooms, comfy bed and good breakfast. Can't go wrong.

We booked this hotel for one night and found it to be a very nice place to stay. The room was immaculate, in fact the whole property was very tidy. The pool was so pleasant for a late evening swim. It was clean and pleasant. Breakfast was just great, with freshly cooked scrambled eggs and meat. There is a lot of wind in this location, right in the mouth of a canyon, but I could not detect that at all in the room. We had a very nice stay, and hope to stop here again.

Next to a mountain without being in the mountains. Quiet area and very nice hotel. Staff has always been great and we love that there is a full breakfast and pool. Love the way the wind comes down from the mountain always creating a beautiful breeze.

Clean bathroom, plenty hot water. house keeping service got it just right. Nice breakfast in comfortable seating area, well displayed and serviced. Close to interstate and highway, but quiet. Convenient location to both Ogden (Weber State University) and Salt Lake City, the Antelope Island Park in the Lake and hiking trails off route 39. I'll be back!

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and I like the experience. It is a little hard to find, off a side street. Room is standard Best Western. Why no five stars is no HBO or places to eat near by.

This hotel is a great place to stay. We were greeted with a smile and a quick check-in. The room was nicely decorated with a large sitting area and comfortable furniture. The bed was comfortable and the bedding crisp and clean. Our breakfast was good and served with real plates and silverware, others use paper plates. I would stay with this hotel again, no problem!!

The breakfast was the best part of our stay. The room was nice, but not exceptional. I got a deal on our stay, so felt it was worth the price, but I wouldn't pay over $90 for the room otherwise. Everything was clean and the pool and hot tub weren't bad. Honestly, though, I'm on a crusade right now to beg all hotels to lose their carpet. We've stayed in several hotels over the last couple years that have vinyl flooring and it's amazing how much cleaner the whole place feels with something moppable underfoot. Overall, if you can snag a room here for under $90 and you like a big breakfast, you won't be disappointed.

Nice big rooms with fridge and microwave, and has pool and spa. Nice views of the surrounding mountains. My first time in Utah, and I would stay here again. Other sources give the location as South Ogden.

The location was really good. The hotel was very nice. Loved the pool. Breakfast was very nice. An enjoyable stay with very nice people working at the hotel. We will stay here again the next time we travel to Ogden/Salt Lake City.

This best part of this stay was the price. One King size bed for 2 nights, a total price of $178.42. Missed judged the distance of the hotel to the marathon bus pick up. It took 30 minutes to the buses. Breakfast had a lot of great options. When we checked in we requested a late check out to shower after the marathon. The receptionist agreed to a noon check out. we informed her that it would not work because the race did not start until 8 AM. she would not push it further out and was rude about it. The next we talked to a different person who was much friendlier and understanding and gave us till 2 PM to check out.

Really a quite nice mid-range hotel. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Three stories with all interior corridors. Sink is inside bathroom (with good counter space), a setup that I far prefer to the increasingly common practice of having sink outside bathroom. Free breakfast is average. Indoor pool which I did not use. Only real issue is there is nothing within walking distance. This is strictly a driving hotel and the nearest restaurants are at least a fifteen minute drive away. However the building itself is very nice and the area seems to be very safe.

The location this Best Western is very convenient, right off the freeway. At the same time, it is a strange location. The hotel is tucked at an angle behind car service companies and a pickers junk shop! That being said, the rooms were immaculate and relatively spacious. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms a nice size. If you are just stopping for the night while on a road trip, this hotel meets the need. There is no charm, no service, no food, no entertainment, nothing memorable.

We stayed here on our way home from northern Idaho, headed to Arizona. The room was very well appointed, supremely comfortable beds. The bathroom was a bit small...but did not detract from the room. I would definitely sstay here again.

A no frills hotel that is clean, quiet and reasonably priced. The check-in process was fast with no issues. The desk clerk was polite, friendly and helpful. Close proximity to Ogden and Salt Lake City.

I stayed a total of five night on three separate occasions over a two week period (three different rooms). The best Western Canyon Pines is absolutely the best deal in Ogden area. Great room, service, and extras. The breakfast features a hot meal that is not the same day to day. Probably the best breakfast for this class of accommodation. The king room is spacious and comfortable. The staff was was friendly and professional. The only negative thing I can say is the breakfast room does not have a microwave. This would be nice to warm the muffins or danish. Good going Best Western Canyon Pines! One word of warning: There are high winds in the morning so hang onto your car doors and small kids...

Great hotel conveniently located off I-84 and highway 89. City of Ogden mere minutes away. Close to shopping, Weber State University, and downtown proper. The hotel itself has modern clean rooms, up to date amenities, and a great indoor pool. The free breakfast has a wide variety of choices. The staff is efficient and very friendly.

We had Room 202 in this hotel. It was a clean, basic room with few toiletries. These were available on request from the desk!It had free wi-fi, a television, coffee making facilities and an empty bar fridge. There was a gym and an indoor pool on the premises and there were various slot machines for drinks and snacks. Good parking for your car. The breakfast was acceptable, but had limited selection.

Fantastic breakfast, there were fresh cooked potatoes, and the eggs were fresh cooked. Room was clean and comfortable. Wifi worked great. We were greatly impressed with this hotel and would stay there again.

My mother and I stayed 2 nights while visiting family in Morgan. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Entire hotel was very clean and breakfast area was well maintained. It would have been nice if a restaurant was a little closer for walking distance. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel. Excellent customer service too!

Very nice property at a good price. Only wished a fast food or restaurant was available without getting back on the highway. However, a selection of food items was available in the lobby so we had TV dinners and ice cream.

I stayed there two nights. It is the closest Hotel to Morgan Utah and I dropped my wife off at a Quilting retreat there. The room is easy to access. The pool was indoors with a jacuzzi. The room was nice and clean and staff professional. Only thin was no restaurants near by walking distance.

We were here 18 months ago and made note to return if we got back to SLC. It's still a nice property with friendly staff and excellent rooms under $100. Our room was quiet and the beds were comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is the tops of all places we've stayed on this road trip. My only complaint would be the narrow parking spaces for my full size pickup... but I'd still come back!

It would have been nice if the restaurants were closer but they were only about 10 minutes away. We will return if we go to Ogden again.

This is a nice property and well cared for. We had no complaints other than there is no where to eat close by. Plenty to choose from within 2 miles though but we were tired of driving and had hoped to walk

We enjoyed our stay at this location. Employees were all very friendly & helpful. There are restaurants within a few minutes driving distance, however we ordered in pizza which was excellent. Clean room, quiet, comfortable mattress. Excellent free breakfast. Great price.

This hotel is very nice. It's clean, quiet, and very comfortable. Front Desk service at check in and out was very good. I stayed two nights, and both I was able to sleep without any noise interruption, with is rare in a hotel. My only 'complaint' is that this Best Western isn't really in South Ogden, as their address states, it's in Uintah. This place was farther away from where I wanted to be, but still, it was a great stay.

This location was excellent for skiing Snow Basin. Ski rental is next door. Staff was professional, friendly, and accommodating. Housekeeping was especially accommodating by servicing the room at my convenience. I will return to this location.

This is a very nice motel. The facility is clean and is completely smoke-free. The room was perfect and quiet, even facing the freeway. The bathroom is a bit small but the room is very spacious. WiFi was free and fast. The complimentary breakfast was better than most, with eggs, sausage, potatoes, gravy, yogurt with granola and fruit plus waffles and pastries. Kid friendly facility including indoor pool. Our only reservation was the location. It is essentially in an industrial area next to auto repair, storage units, Spa and yard equipment sales, etc. Better type in the name of the hotel in your GPS because most will not find this address at all. We really enjoyed our stay. Staff very gracious and accommodating and we will definitely stay here again.

Overall, a great stay. Front desk staff went above and beyond by letting me use wrapping paper from their decorative Christmas packages in the lobby when I forgot to bring my own wrapping paper to wrap my gifts for Christmas morning at my family's house. Also, the housekeeping people were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was edible, but could use some improvement.

This hotel is at the bottom of a very beautiful canyon with tall pine trees all around. Very mountain feel. The motel is very quite , the only problem is you need to get back in the car and drive for any services. You are a little land locked at this place. We have stayed at the Canyon Pines several times and will stay here again.

The 'Plus' is exactly what this hotel is all about, from the location to the layout, to the decor, very warm & inviting, loved it here! Carts are supplied for taking luggage to rooms, check-in/out seamless. Only negatives with room was curtains were not 'full' width so had to improvise with an elastic band to hold together as lights were too bright streaming in & again those square pillows. Also sink was inside bathroom, & when there's two of you this can pose an inconvenience. Dining room at breakfast was very warm & cozy, free daily paper with wide selection of breakfast goodies including scrambled eggs, sausages, potatoes, make yourself waffles, fresh fruit, cereal, muffins etc. TV news was playing & coffee/water to go available in lobby! Awesome stay, enjoyed very much!

Spent a week here visiting with family and couldn't have enjoyed things more. Had grandchildren also come and stay with us! The room was comfortable, breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold entries, pool and spa were delightful. When we come back this way, will certainly stay here!

We were visiting a sister who is in a Retirement home in Morgan this Motel was very convenient easy on and off the freeway, and the staff were all so helpful. My only suggestion is to leave out the meat in the breakfast tacos to accommodate we vegetarians, meat on the side can always be added, but we couldn't pick it out, otherwise the meal was wonderful as was our entire experience

Canyon Pines is owned by a local family who truly care about their guests. It is in a good location, especially if you like to ski. I stay here when ever I am in town for both business and pleasure. Merrill is the manager and his staff are all friendly and helpful.

This Motel is located away from freeway traffic and was very quiet. The breakfast was very good with a large selection of items. Cars and trucks with trailers have to park on the city street. There are no restaurants within walking distance of the Motel. The baggage carts are of a unique design with three wheels and brakes. They are much easier to handle than the traditional hotel luggage carts. They are smaller but will carry almost as many suitcases as the traditional carts. We love these three wheel carts.

Everything was pleasant. The lobby was clean. The rooms and breakfast area was neat and clean. Breakfast was delicious and satisfying. Parking was a headache. We were driving a truck and it was horrible trying to find a spot big enough to park and backing out took forever. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

One of the nicest hotels my husband and I have stayed at lately. Everything was clean, modern, and nicely decorated and the price was very reasonable. The staff were helpful and courteous. And the Breakfast was wonderful. It was really a pleasant surprise when we went down to breakfast and saw real plates and silverware instead of paper and plastic. Also, the food was fresh and very nicely presented with many items to choose from. We will definitely stay here again if we are traveling in the area.

My stay was for 3 nights. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. I found staff to be friendly and helpful. They asked if I needed anything? I requested two bottles of water in the refrigerator and when I arrived that evening after work, they were there. It was so nice to have access to good water. I enjoyed the hot breakfast and internet was easy to access. With the design of the room I could mix business and pleasure in that I was able to work and also watch TV.

Located at intersection of Hwy 89 & 87. Clean, friendly staff, well maintained, hot and cold breakfast options (eggs, sausage, potatoes, juices, milk, fruit, waffles, cereal, yogurt parfait), quiet. Free wifi w/good speed. Indoor pool & jaccuzi. Fitness room is a bit small, but adequate - weight rack, bike, elliptical machine, treadmill, TV. Business center w/printer.

When we travel like many others we look for combinations of quality for price and this hotel has it. Our room was big, clean, nice size bathroom and comfortable bed all for a very good price. Best Westerns have become our go to hotels. Priced reasonably and clean. Our main requirements, glad they have come back to what I remember as a kids when my folks stayed at Best Westerns.

Had to wait for room to be cleaned after checking time. I think the hotel was full. Quiet location. Breakfast was chaotic with one waitress racing to refill silverware, coffee and food. Quality of food was satisfactory.

This hotel was the perfect place for us to spend the last 1.5 days of our vacation before flying out of SLC at midnight. Staff was very helpful and professional. Pool & hot tub area was clean and warm. Room was clean and nicely furnished. Breakfast was available early and included lots of options. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a great place to unwind and relax for the two days we were there. Rooms were clean, modern and did not smell of smoke. Continental breakfast was as usual. Parking lot.. but very difficult to find parking on the front or busy side of the motel. There is an auto repair chain next door, and on other side is some fitness center and one story commercial plaza. On the other side of auto repair place was an antique or "junk" dive. The antique shop fits the mood well. Getting into the parking lot or motel takes a crazy zig zag and is easy to pass. Heading down the hill with motel on the left you need to turn in way ahead of the motel by the antique place (just before auto repair shop). Then make right towards motel, and a quick left and right at the auto shop to get to the motel. Hard to explain so just take it slow when you get close to the motel and remember the entrance is by an antique shop and prior to auto shop with the motel in distance. There are a few entrances to the motel (with one being the main entrance). Depending on where your room is it may determine where to park your car. There is only one elevator. The location is a bit removed from the main part of town but if you have a car that is okay. We did not get to use the amenities. The staff was helpful, although when we called ahead and asked for info, etc. it seems there is no communication among staff members. Minor detail. I would recommend you consider this location if you need a clean modern location to stay that includes continental breakfast, pool, hot tub, business area and spacious public lobby area. If you don't have a vehicle, not the place to be unless you plan on ubering or staying put in the motel the entire time.

But a comfy one. Was visiting friends in Morgan UT just up the canyon from South Ogden and their house was overflowing with guests. So we drew the short straw and had to stay at a hotel. The Best Western was about 6 miles from the house where we had dinner and it was a straight shot down the canyon from their house to the hotel. The hotel is nice and clean. The rooms very quiet and comfortable with the amenities you would expect from a hotel (free wi-if too). A great place for "overflow guests" during the holidays or whenever.

This hotel was the cleanest we've stayed in in a long time. Staff was friendly and professional and well dressed. Only complaint would be the noise from the highway and other rooms. I would recommend this hotel and would stay in it again.

Clean, and nice furniture. Desk for Laptop. Easy chair with foot rest (better than usual). Flat screen TV - good sized. Good sized counter in bathroom. Beds were squishy and you had a tendency to roll to the center. Very soft. Good pillows and lots of hot water - grade A on that. Hotel was quiet for sleeping. Hotel breakfast was excellent. Eggs, potatoes, sausage, yogurt. Fresh fruit with separate granola.

This is a newer hotel with a nice pool for the kids and a hot tub for the adults to relax after a day on the road. The breakfast in the morning was fresh and had a decent variety of food. We visited on a busy day with many people heading toward the Solar Eclipse belt of totality. Even with the full dining room the staff kept the food fresh and the dining room clean. These were some of the most comfortable beds on our trip and the rooms were super clean!

The hotel was in a great location for us. It was fairly close to Hill AFB and also to visit family in Ogden. It was very reasonably priced. The breakfast was our only thing we were not extremely happy with. The coffee tasted like it was possibly instant, They should change the brand of coffee if not. The breakfast eggs were over cooked. The waffles were great with a wide selection of toppings. The room was very clean and my grandkids enjoyed the pool while we enjoyed the hot tub.

My husband and I stayed here one night as a halfway point between the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone. It was comfortable and clean with friendly staff; everything we needed to rest up after long day of driving and start back up again the next day. Wish we could have had more time to explore the charming town of Ogden. If we ever return I'd definitely stay here again.

Newish, clean, quiet, right off Interstate 84, pleasant staff. We were pleased. All the pool, wifi, breakfast amenities. Prices are higher than the budget hotels but the quality difference is obvious here. Recommended.

Highly recommend this hotel. It is very clean, convenient, quiet, and has a quality breakfast with nice seating areas and plenty fo room. Staff was very efficient, and equipment worked. Price was VERY reasonable for product received.

Great easy access location with a clean and hotel to stay at when traveling or coming into town. Really windy in the mornings and can get really hot in the evening but it cools off in the evening. OK breakfast, good internet, ok bed.

We stayed last night on the way through Ogden Utah. We checked in late, but, we were well received and promptly served. We were given rooms on the third floor which put us up near where the canyon winds are the worst. Room was nice. Well appointed, with everything the modern day traveler has come to expect. Comfortable bed, plenty of nice pillows ,warm bed coverings, great air conditioning, nice fresh smelling soft towels In the morning a decent breakfast is available for free with rolls, pastries, toast, bagels, scrambled eggs and cheese, sausage, waffles, fruit, coffee, juices etc. Only caution I have to offer ? Beware of the canyon winds early in the morning, your hat will blow away, your papers will be lost, your hair,( if you have any), will be completely awry. Still, nice place to stay.

- Very nice room; lamps have plugs although only one USB port in room. (At desk.) Maid service good. Food generally good; eggs less rubbery than most hotel breakfasts. Overall, a pleasant stay, but there are a number of little annoyances. - Electricity was off until 5:30 PM the day after we checked in - not the hotel's fault, but their only concession was “we won't charge you if you want to find someplace else to stay for one day”. How about a half-price room for one day? Or 10,000 extra points toward another BW+ stay? - Poor design in bathroom - electrical plugs right next to sink, towel rack other end of vanity so you drip all over after washing hands and reaching for a towel. Spigot is too close to back of sink. Towel paper holder is positioned so when sitting on the commode, you have to reach backwards to get to it. - Sprinklers come on in evening right in front of doors. - Kitchen - poor design - coffee pot right in middle so people who just want coffee interfere with those having breakfast. - Staff are generally nice, but some are a bit lackadaisical - Signage is terrible; only a couple of very small signs and it doesn't look like a Best Western. Coming from the north, you can barely see it. Situated next to a junk dealer and two auto repair shops; Junked cars outside the back door. Difficult to tell where to go when you turn off highway 89. - [ ] Wifi spotty. Took ten minutes to update a half dozen apps on my iPhone. Not secure; they never change the password. - [ ] Parking lot is small, poorly marked, and they let cars/trucks w trailers stay where they interfere with getting in and out of parking spaces.

This was our first time staying here and we were pleased. The staff member behind the desk when we checked in offered us ice water (it was in the 90's) and did his best to make us comfortable. Give us menu's for places to eat close by and even some coupons. They let us park our motorcycles under cover and even gave us towels to wipe them down. If we find our way back to the area, we will stay here again.

I could tell this was an outstanding facility when we drove up and saw the stone fountain in the driveway. The lobby could not have been nicer. Loved the way it is decorated. We were greeted immediately and checked in without an issue. Our room and breakfast were perfect. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

From the wonderful scenery and mountains of Ogden to the beautiful design of the building, we truly enjoyed the hospitality. Room decor and public space was designed with great taste and the breakfast was very very well arranged. Thank you for a nice experience!

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Desk staff was not easily reached by telephone nor in person. When they were reached, the information was not accurately confirmed. The hotel is in a convenient location for our travels. We have stayed there on several occasions.

Friendly, helpful front desk service. Easy check-in and out. Clean, bright property. The room was clean and comfortable. Not sure why hotels put shower heads so high. Short people cannot adjust them without dangerously standing on the edge of the tub. Sorry tall people. The hotel is located in a wind tunnel, with the wind coming off the canyon, but it doesn't detract from the hotel. It is centrally located to shopping and restaurants.

I and my wife stayed at the Best Western Plus Canyon Pines while visiting family in Ogden, UT. It was an enjoyable hotel. The room was clean and our room was quiet. The breakfast is really good and it is the only hotel that we have stayed at that has potatoes for breakfast. It was very good and a good value.

This is the second time for us out in Ogden, UT and the second time we have used this hotel and we are extremely satisfied with the overall service, appearance, etc at this hotel. This is one of the best places to stay in Ogden, UT

Great location for attending convention at Dee Event Center. Microwave and refrigerator were very helpful. I wish the pillows weren't so flat. Pool was great! Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Staff are very helpful and courteous. Room is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast area is very nice and well stocked. Lobby is very nice and elevator clean and fast. WiFi has easy access, but can be slow.

Came there with 5 kids, excellent pool, kids had a great time for the one night we were there. Breakfast was hot. The hot tub was nice. If we are traveling there we will return to the same place as the beds were comfortable as well.

Location is good. It is 5 minutes from shopping and maybe 1 minute from interstate. Rooms clean. Plenty of hot water. Pool and hot tub clean. Lots of towels. Parking was close. A/C worked fine. Internet fast.

This was great. Everything is new and fresh. The price is also great for what you get in this fresh hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great as well as the express checkout. I would highly recommend it!

Breakfast started to late. # pm and assigned room not ready. Parking is non existent. Amenities such as restaurants or other eating establishments not in close proximity. Overall a decent place but not one I would book again

The gentleman at the desk (can't remember his name) was very helpful in giving us easy directions on how to get to the hotel. Our Garmin got us lost. The lobby is so cute! Big buffalo head over the fireplace. Rooms were great. Indoor pool very nice. Breakfast was good. If you left there hungry, it was your own fault!

We were riding motorcycles and needed to stay for 2 nights do to snow. We were pleased to be able to keep our motorcycles under the front door overhang. The staff was very helpful in finding us interesting places to eat. One thing I wish you would include in you pricing is a military discount. We witnessed 2 fellas leaving because of that. Active or retired, it shouldn't matter.

Not much to say except for it was very clean and comfortable. The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful, especially with all of our questions! Just a side note, if you have to blow dry your hair, they keep the blow dryer in the closet of the room. LOL. It will save you from going to the front desk to ask where it was. I definitely recommend this hotel.

we were there for funeral of our son so this hotel offered us solitude and peacefulness against the beautiful snowcapped mountains with the whispering of the winds through the high mountains we found peace and comfort from the hussle in town and our son loved those mountains

I first found this hotel about a year ago when I wondered in off of a long road trip. I was too tired to continue. The bed was so comfortable, and the pillows so huge that I always remembered that stay. I decided to stay again, a year later, and I am glad that I did. The breakfast was hot, and fresh. The coffee is great! The hot tub is big enough that if someone you do not know gets in, it's not awkward. The pool is decent sized. All the fitness equipment was nice. I was pleasantly surprised that even thought the train tracks were so close, I didn't hear the trains at night. It did sound pretty heavy when the doors closed in other rooms. I travel frequently, and this is definitely a better hotel and well worth the price.

This is the only place we stay when we travel to Ogden, Utah. The house keeping staff (Malinda) made our stay way better as she left little notes back to my daughter. She was amazing. The breakfast is good and the pool was amazing.

This experience was outstanding, we enjoyed our stay and will be staying here every time we come to Utah, it was that great of a place. The staff are more than accomadating and the motel itself is beautiful. The breakfast was very good and the attendant there was so pleasant and helpful.

Best Western Plus Canyon Pines is a great place to stay. The staff are all very kind and willing to help. The price is reasonable, and the hotel is always very clean. I stay here quite often with my business travels, and I would recommend this hotel to anybody passing through the area.

This is a very attractive motel, located in quiet area, the restaurant was conviently located. The breakfast was one of the better ones we enjoyed. The room was all that we expected for comfort and quiet for good sleep.

I have stayed here a number of times in the last five years and have always had a good experience. Staff and property are excellent! So many things to do and see in the area. Great location. I highly recommend the Ogden Canyon Pines.

Staff was very helpful. Hotel was clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable and the room was roomy enough for an overnight stay. Overall we were very happy with hotel and the location off interstate 94 and 15. Well located to restaurants and other shopping.

Looks new. For leisure traveler about 20 minutes to some restaurants in Riverdale. Near Hill AFB so jets during the DAY, not night. Train behind but good insulation, did not hear. I'd go back. Very clean

Christmas decorations still all up in March. Breakfast quality was not good at all. Glass plates and silverware was not cleaned properly and lots was dirty. Pool area seemed old and the hot tub was so dirty. We won't be back.

The hotel and room were extremely clean. Breakfast was perfect. It was located at the intersection of 2 highways, but noise was very minimal and easy to access. Great find. Will definitely stay here again gif I am in the area.

Best Best Western anywhere. Service, quality, location, value, outstanding helpers in every area. We have stayed here and nowhere else for the past seven years and will not think of staying anywhere else.

I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus Canyon Pines. It is near the Mkay Dee Hospital where my brother had been admitted. Typically the hospital has a place near by for families however it was full up. Best Western provided a great rate and came highly recommended by the hospital social services department. I was a guest for 6 nights, 7 days. Each day I was greeted with a smile, excellent coffee and breakfast. Loved the room and cleanliness of this hotel.

This is a small place, on the crossroads of the 84 and 89. It is an excellent stay. The rooms are nice a cozy; all the necessary travel amenities from soap to coffee, and comfortable beds and pillows. The staff is very friendly and everything is as it ought to be. It is a couple of miles from my son and his family, so don't spread the word, I want to stay here more often.

Everything I needed and at a reasonable price. A definite go to for future travels. The breakfast was very good. The room location to exit and vending are very convenient and private. Very knowledgeable of the surrounding area. Much care and curtesy was shown to new comers.

We stayed for one night and had a comfortable stay. The rooms were nicely appointed with small fridge, microwave and nice TV. The bed was comfortable. The pool area was nice although the hot tub was very foamy when turned on. The exercise room was nice and open 24 hours. The only suggestion I would make is to have antiseptic wipes available to clean the equipment before and after use as there is no sink to wash your hands. The complimentary breakfast was also very nice with scrambled eggs, waffles etc. Overall, a nice stay.

We traveled on a tight budget and shopped for comfortable, affordable lodging every evening. This motel was one of our "keepers". Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Price was right in our range and registration folks were super friendly and welcoming. It is on a busy street with an awkward driveway entry, but its a great place to stay.

We recently spent two nights here when returning to the airport in Salt Lake City after a vacation in Yellowstone National Park. The price was very reasonable compared with other Best Westerns closer to Salt Lake City and closer to I.15 in Ogden. Since it was located closer to the mountains and called the BW Plus Canyon Pines, I expected a more picturesque locale which it definitely does not have as it sits between a tire shop and a hot tub store. And while it was nice inside, updated and nicely decorated, it is not particularly special in a way I have come to expect from BW Plus. That said, it was clean and very reasonable priced and close enough to Salt Lake City to take in the sights or get to the airport in minutes.

We really enjoyed our stay on the third floor of this comfortable, clean, nicely decorated motel. Our room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was varied and quite good. We had a camper with us which they accomodated. No complaints from us. We will happily stay there again

This was not up the standard of the other BW Plus hotels I've visited. My stay started badly as when I went to check in after the already late check-in time of 4 I had to wait a considerable time while the receptionist checked that my room was ready. There was no information about the hotel or the area in my room and throughout my stay the reception desk was generally deserted so there was nobody to ask for guidance. The room itself and the breakfast were nice enough, but the hotel was in a fairly non-descript area with no restaurants in the immediate vicinity. There was coffee available in the lobby, but it was stone cold on the two occasions I sampled it. In the morning there was a fierce gale blowing down the Canyon, which was quite frightening and made loading the car a challenge. I was told that this is common here.

Don't let the lovely name fool you, instead of being surrounded by swaying pine boughs, this perfectly adequate establishment is situated on a triangle of tarmac, surrounded on two sides by busy highway, and on the third by a well used railway line. I'm giving points for convenience, but the noise of traffic and trains kept me awake most of the night. Luckily, there is a small fitness center open 24 hours as an alternative location to bed at 4am when sleep is elusive. Also, they've got great Belgian waffles to look forward to at breakfast, whipped cream and all. So that's good. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and spacious. The room was equipped with a microwave and a refrigerator that kept my delicious beverage crispy cold. Overall I was pleased with comfort and access, but next time I will be certain to bring earplugs.

It was convient, breakfast was hot and a variety, staff was friendly and helpful, bed felt great!!!! I would stay again, the hot tub and pool could have been alittle cleaner but overall we had a pleasure staying.

From check in to checkout this hotel was just what we asked for. It was totally quiet, breakfast was very good with everything well presented, the bedding was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. Parking was a bit confusing as to location but was not a real problem and freeway access was very convenient. The night we were there the wind was howling coming out of the mountain canyon to the east and we still slept well.

A nicely decorated room with a comfy bed and the added bonus was a terrific cooked breakfast. The whole hotel was very well kept up and the decor was very suited to the location. Although we didn't go into the pool it looked very inviting!

The bed was fabulous. Staff was very friendly. Check in and out with super fast and easy. They have the coolest luggage cart they're like the ones at the airport, they were roll easy and are very easy to maneuver. I can't comment on breakfast as we left at 5 o'clock in the morning their continental breakfast does not start until 6:30. Only thing out of place was the shower curtain is a bit short and doesn't stay in the tub very well, so the floor got pretty wet.

Very good rooms and amenities. Courteous and helpful staff. Nice breakfast area. Convenient location for skiing and other recreation. The rooms and public areas are in good repair and clean. Highly recommended.

Overall, this hotel was clean, quiet and well kept, a good roadtrip stay. I only have a few little things to comment on, which you can read if you stay at a lot of Best Westerns, or have a choice of hotels to stay in in Ogden. Check in staff was unusually (for a Best Western) quick and not overly helpful, little things I noticed after staying in 7 other BW on this trip. I had to ask when breakfast was, which way my room was and where a good place to park and entrances were and she just gave me the sheet you sign with no words, or where exactly to sign as it wasn't highlighted or explained. In the room, the AC was controlled by a wall unit, but unlike other BW that had this set up, no note was on the dark AC unit (appearing not to work) so I called the front desk not knowing and got a bit of a condescending response. Breakfast was fine, below average for a Plus. The breakfast staff looked stressed as she came in and out of the kitchen and unfortunately her cook shirt was extremely dirty. Made me feel guilty somehow for having breakfast there. Maybe they were short staffed. I am a Platinum BW member, and at other BW Plus hotels I got a little welcome snack/drink, but not here.

We stayed here on our five-state tour for our vacation. This hotel was one of many (posting reviews for all ). It was very nice and clean. The staff was polite and helpful. Conveniently located off the interstate and near downtown. We plan to return soon!

Super gracious employees. Cleanliness........ Superior. Stayed 2 weeks in a fabulous suite. Indoor pool was outstanding. Our grandkids came by for a swim and the staff welcomed them as if they were guests. Highly recommended.

The hotel is right off of the interstate. Better than the High Canyon Bw in Ogden where we also stayed one night. Did not see any restaurants around the hotel. room was comfortable and decent size, and we appreciated having a refrigerator and microwave. There is an elevator. We did have some thumping from above us during the night that kept us awake. Breakfast was free with some hot selections-- lots of waffle toppings but eggs were the usual powdered bland stuff. Wifi worked and free newspapers.

The room was modern, clean and nicely furnished with plenty of space including the bathroom. Bed was large and comfortable with good linens and selection of pillows. Breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of hot and cold food. Had a very comfortable stay.

Excellent staff! Everyone was cheerful and greeted you even in the halls. Breakfast was very good and the selection was good also. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Only 3 stories high so not too crowded or noisy.

I loved this BW. It was one of the best during our road trip from Oregon to Utah. The service was above average and the beds were wonderful. Sat down for a short rest and woke up 4 hours later. Wow. We stayed 3 nights and loved every minute at the hotel. They have indoor swim pool, hot tub, fitness center etc. Only thing I would change is location so that we could have had someplace to eat within a short walking distance. But experience was too great to worry about one little thing.

This was a great place to kick off our vacation. (We were there in the second week of June.) The general manager was fabulous! Yes, sometimes the front desk was empty, but help was close by in less than a minute. The surrounding area was beautiful with mountains all around, the hotel was welcoming; the pool and everything else there was clean and more than adequate. We had a great hot breakfast both mornings in the clean functional breakfast room. It was an easy drive to Antelope Island and Salt Lake City. I would recommend this hotel.

Medium, the service for check out was none. could not find a person around. The hotel was extremely Hot! The breakfast person was rude, and would not answer questions. Breakfast was cold! When asking questions could not get an answer

everything was great....have stayed here several times & consistency has always been the same...staff will fulfill any needs one may have...good location...one may have to book over a month ahead for a reservation...

This is very clean and comfortable place to stay. The decor is lovely and the staff is helpful. The breakfast is superior to other hotels of this nature. Definetely more than a continental breakfast. We loved the hot tub, great way to end the evening and relax before bed. The only think I would change is to be able to check in before 4:00 pm. However the room was immaculate, so if that is what it takes to get the room that clean then so be it. I definetely will be back.

This hotel was super clean and the staff is just the best. We spent two nights. Bathrooms were immaculate, mattresses were very comfortable, I can't think of any single thing that wrong. Merrill was just awesome!! Thanks!

I only stayed one night, but this hotel had everything you would expect from a Best Western Plus. Comfy beds, HD tv, good breakfast with eggs and sausage, waffles, and usual other cereals, pasties, and fruit. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Layton. Great value for the price too!

Overall a very nice hotel. Shower curtain in our room was a bit short and water got on the floor but as I was not cleaning it up it did not cause me a great hardship. Nice breakfast, when traveling with children not needing to pay for and track down a meal is always nice. Wireless internet was good most of the day but did become crowded and slow in the evening.

We stayed for 4 nights. The room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of towels. Comfy bed. The staff was friendly & helpful. It's convenient to local attractions and restaurants. I would stay here again.

Love the decor, the staff, the location and the price. I will return. Of all the places to stay in Ogden this is my favorite. While there take a short ride up the canyon directly south of the Motel and you will find absolutely beautiful scenery and plenty of wildlife. Take a camera and a picnic.

Every time I make the trip to Ogden this is the place I choose to stay. Motel is very clean, breakfast is usually good and the staff is great to deal with, they are very helpful and friendly. The pool is great for the kids, not very big, but still fun for them. The hot tub is great and is a great way to relax at the end of the day.

Nice hotel, good Best Western standard. Nicely decorated lobby and friendly front desk. Hotel room was clean and in good condition. Continental breakfast offered and very well prepared. Wifi was offered for free. Indoor pool and good furnished fitness room available at the hotel also. Hotel can be recommended, we would stop over again definitely.

Service was not as friendly as I would have liked. Checkout clerk was outright rude. Young man training at front desk however did upgrade my room for a special stay with my husband which was very sweet.

Great experience. Great View. Poor weather. TV stations are complicated to understand. Guide was outdated. Convenient place to get to any place in town. We were in town for a wedding in which we were able to where we were going with out a problem. I would recommend this motel to everyone.

Once again we had an enjoyable experience staying here! The tv didn't work when we first arrived, but as soon as we notified the front desk, they sent someone up and it was working within about 10 minutes. We enjoyed the pool, the breakfast was good and the room was clean and comfortable.

We were driving across country and landed our first stop here from Portland area. I highly recommend staying at this hotel if ever in the area, very clean, quiet and friendly! The breakfast in the morning was delish and the staff was wonderful!

Hotel was nice and clean, as was the room. Plenty of comfort items and the staff was kind. Standard continental breakfast fare. We didn't take advantage of the pool or fitness areas but they looked inviting.

Stayed in April for one night and would definitely stay again. Beautiful hotel. Everything was in great condition and seemed new. Friendly staff. Had an awesome breakfast as well. Close to restaurants and shopping if you have a car. Very quiet and the beds were great. Was a bit off the interstate, but was easy enough to get back on in the morning.

My wife, daughter and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights while on a ski trip. The room was extremely clean and very comfortable. The furnishings were upscale. The room had a good working refrigerator and microwave and the hotel had a pool and a very hot Jacuzzi (the one at the condo we stayed at after this was a bit cooler). The breakfast here was okay but not great -- I thought the eggs were like rubber. They did have a good waffle machine and one morning they had the makings for some crepes. The coffee was so-so. The hotel is a short drive from many eateries. All in all we found this to be a convenient place to stay while we skied Snowbasin and Powder Mountain.

We stay here often and as usual, they did not disappoint. The staff are friendly, the breakfast was good, the room was clean and beautiful. We took advantage of the pool and hot tub and they were both clean and I loved that the pool towels were bigger than most. All in all, another great stay!

Talking with hotel personnel, if you want help, they don;t know what to do to help you. If your computer keeps dropping the internet they won't change to a room that computer might work. When I asked about getting receipt, the lady at counter said at 11 am is the standard time for a receipt, probably a new girl on job who said I was listed as belligerent and drunk on check in, she will probably get fired for telling the truth.

All facilities and service were what I expected from Best Western. Only two drawbacks to the location were traffic noise and lack of restaurant nearby. Great access to Snowbasin ski resort that took only 20 min. to get to and was the primary reason for my stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of skiing at Snowbasin and even Powder Mtn.

Did not get the size of room we booked. Customer service sucked. The room smelled like smoke, the fan/heater made terrible noises. The frig didn't work. When we checked out the clerk didn't care or adjust our bill. Very unprofessional experience.

This Best Western, Best Western Plus Canyon Pines is conveniently located to Powder Mountain Ski Resort, Nordic Valley Ski Area which is a downhill ski area & Snowbasin Ski Resort, Utah. Close to dining and shopping.

I have to travel to Ogden, Utah twice a month for school. With that being said, this is my go to place to stay. Earlier this month, my school told us of a last minute week long conference that was mandatory to attend. This hotel was already booked. I had to stay at the other BW in Ogden. Let me assure you, after that nightmare of a week, I will NEVER stay at another hotel in Ogden again!! Canyon Pines staff is very friendly, the hotel is clean, no issues with billing what so ever. I already booked all of my future stays the remainer of my school year, to ensure I can stay at this location.

We stay at Canyon Pines every time we come to Utah. The staff, accommodations, location, friendliness, cleanliness, food, and everything else is extraordinary. It's impossible to find a better place to stay for the money. They are organized, helpful, and have the best manager, staff and entire crew. We have stayed there since they opened a few years ago and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. Hooray for BW Canyon Pines.

We stayed here while attending an event at Weber State. The commute to the school was quick and easy. We loved that our 2 queen room was extra spacious with a high ceiling. The staff was pleasant and helpful. All areas of the hotel were clean and tidy, including the breakfast room and pool area. Parking was ample. Beds were comfortable with soft linens. We would definitely return here for another stay.

We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and have even referred others to do so. It is one of the best hotels to stay at if visiting Ogden, UT or the Hill Air Force Base. Clean rooms. Good breakfast. Indoor pool - one complaint there - the room is too cold where the pool is at. The heat of the room is set to 70, which sounds okay, but who swims in 70 degree weather? Pool was warm and hot tub very hot - nice.

My son Eric and I came here to ski at nearby Snow Basin for a couple of days. The hotel is conveniently located on Hwy 89 at I-84, maybe 25 minutes from Snow Basin. Kyle helped us at the front desk...nice guy. This is a well-appointed Best Western...nice rooms (we had a room with two Queen beds). During this particular stay it was very quite. The bedding was comfortable. We both slept well. The breakfast is OK, about what you get at a Hampton Inn...eggs, sausage, pancakes, etc. it's about three or four miles to get to shopping or dining, that's the only drawback. But overall, a good value.

Great place, food, room, personnel, location, price, etc., etc. You can travel anywhere and not beat the value of this hotel. They have gone out of their way time and again to make our experiences staying there as enjoyable as possible. They accommodate skiers and other travelers with wonderful rooms, views, food, pool, jacuzzi, exercise room. and you name it. We would never think of staying anywhere else in Utah.

Boiler went out and woke up to cold water--no shower. Staff did offer another room to take a shower but that would have been very inconvenient. Also, motel is located near a feedlot----not a pleasant smelling experience when you leave or enter the motel.

We stayed here while skiing at Snowbasin. Price was great and rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. They also have a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in each room. They serve a hot breakfast in the morning (included) which is a step above typical free breakfast fare. Hot waffles, scrambled eggs, and sausage in addition to cereal and pastries. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice quiet place to call home for a few days.

This was our second stay at Canyon Pines over the Christmas break. We like it here because you are halfway to the Ogden Area ski slopes and the surrounding communities. The staff is great. Breakfast is satisfying. And there is a pool w/ hot tub. It's a great value.

Clean comfortable room, TV listings out of date (we had a hard time finding the weather channel -- can be important for travelers in that part of the country in December). Waffle maker in the breakfast room was not working and the eggs were barely warm.

Good location. Close to the Interstate. 10 - 15 minutes from downtown Ogden. Beautiful property. Very friendly, helpful staff. Pretty minimal breakfast, which was a little surprising, in comparison to other BW + properties we have stayed at and considering how nice the hotel itself was. Other than the breakfast, I would highly recommend this hotel.

This is a clean, warm and comfortable place to stay after a long road trip. We also use this hotel while on personal trips. It is also close to one of our favorite ski resorts. Makes it very convenient.

They don't shovel snow. Even after 14 hours the cars in the parking lot were buried in over a foot of snow and my car was stuck because no plowing had been done. There is nothing nearby to walk to. Exercise equipment is barely functional. Shower curtain was too short for the tub.

We have family in the area and this is our choice of places to stay. Nice motel and convenient. The grandchildren loved the pool and the breakfast. The distance to Ogden and to the SLC airport are both reasonable.

Lovely hotel,clean,friendly would recommend to anyone looking for a hotel in the Ogden, Utah area. A little way off Interstate 15 but worth the drive, it is quiet and close to many amenities if you need a restaurant or shopping. The breakfast was ample for someone driving on to a further destination.

It's often difficult to find a good quality hotel without paying luxury hotel price but this hotel is the exception. Clean, well-maintained, with a friendly staff. The pool looked inviting and the gym is more robust than the average hotel gym. The toiletries provided were thoughtful - including moisturizer (essential for the dry climate) and make-up remover. Breakfast is standard hotel fare. And there is a buffalo head above the lobby fireplace. Please be aware that this hotel is not near anything. There is a ski shop in the same parking lot but not much else. There is no food in walking distance. If you are driving on I-84, this is the first thing when you come out of the mountains so it's perfect for cross country travelers. It's also reasonably close to Hill Air Force Base and Ogden (5-10 minute drive). The hotel is located on Route 89 so one can easily travel North to Ogden or South to Bountiful/Salt Lake - but it's not actually in either of these areas. The location was perfect for us, but we had to plan ahead for non-breakfast meals. And the wifi worked without trouble - every single time. This was the easiest hotel to get on the internet.

Very Clean Great People and a beautiful view. Very easy access on and off the freeway to get to this location. I would stay here again when in this area. The staff was awesome and it had one of best breakfast's I've had in a long time.

we have stayed 3 times over the last year and will continue to stay at this hotel everytime clean comfortable and friendly feels like home -the breakfast's are very good with lots of choices I need special foods and had no problem getting them here -the staff is so friendly and helpful -we were able to enjoy visiting family and close to shopping LOVED IT

Bypassing Salt Lake City on our way up north, we found this hotel just at the right time to stop for the night. A very good location just off I-84. The room was excellent and even though it was fairly close to the railway, we could hardly hear the trains at all. Amber at the front desk was very helpful and provided us with some tips where to go to for supper. Great place, we'll stay again next time .

The hotel is nice and the room was spacious, but it is near the train tracks and at least 3 trains came rumbling through sounding the horn. Not conducive to a good nights sleep. Breakfast was fine with enough variety. The WiFi was fast and is free.

The hotel was very clean and nice for a one night stay. The room we stayed in was very spacious with 2 queen beds, and refrigerator and microwave,Small 30" TV. The beds/pillows were very nice and comfortable. There isn't much around this hotel out on the hwy 89, but very close to Ogden/Riverdale to meet your needs. A couple of items we found displeasing were the full breakfast--it was less than desirable, it seemed to be leftovers from the previous day(s) and the thin walls which allowed hear of everything going on next door and in the hallway.

There were lots of nice amenities in this hotel. There was a great luggage bench and a nice marble top table for the computer. The sofa was comfortable and it had an ottoman with a 'box' in the center that could serve as a tray or as a table for a second computer. The tub-shower was really good and the bath towels were large. The breakfast was hot/cold as usual but one interesting thing was the plain yogurt and then granola to mix in it. There was fresh fruit also. WiFi was good. The people in the reception area were very nice also.

This motel was fine. Walls were a little thin. Fitness center weight machine was missing a pin (so basically it wasn't usable). Train whistles until at least as late as 11:30 pm, but nothing that woke me up during the night.

Family visit to S Ogden and Best Western Plus Canyon Pines was our choice for three days! The hotel was immaculately clean! Very nice staff! Room was very clean and comfortable. Beds were new and we slept very well. The breakfasts were excellent and we ate every morning! I will most definitely stay here again! The price was right! Would recommend this hotel to my family and friends!

Place was clean; check in was easy; the views of the mountains in the morning was breath taking. From the time I checked in to the moment I checked out I was greeted the best way. I liked the option of not having my room cleaned. Breakfast was hot and good.

My daughter and I are in the process of traveling across the entire U.S., Oregon to Florida. All hotel rooms were booked in advance after careful review of other customer's comments. The room, entry, lobby and general areas were absolutely perfect. The room had the look and amenities of a higher level of hotel. Beautiful decor, comfortable bed and pillows, fluffy towels, hair dryer, iron, and a nice selection of small toiletries. The room was on the main floor, near the front desk and the pool but was very quiet. The room smelled pleasant although my daughter detected a minimal chlorine odor which I didn't notice. The room was across from the pool, so this was not surprising. There was a non skid mat in the tub and hand held shower. I doubt this is the norm as they had put us in a handicap accessible room. What did not stand out was the breakfast. We were there within 20 minutes of the food being put out yet the scrambled eggs and potatoes were very dry. There was also link sausage, a waffle maker with the choice of regular or blueberry flavored waffles, a few danish, plain bagels and cream cheese, a fruit and cereal assortment. It was certainly an adequate assortment, just not notable. The coffee seemed to be an instant type machine and was very weak. I found the incoming reception to be the worst I've encountered in many years. The young lady came to the counter after I rang the bell. She said "yes." I told her I had a reservation, gave her my name, and she asked for an ID and back up credit card for incidental charges. Pretty standard. She then handed me two room keys, turned, and walked away. No information about breakfast, the location of my room, and any comment even as simple as "let us know if you need anything" or "have a nice night." Nothing. Check out in the morning was only slightly better by a different employee. This hotel has a beautiful facility but needs to train their personnel in customer service.

I love the facility, but the location is quite poor. It is conveniently located just off High 89, but there are absolutely no dining options anywhere close by. We had to drive about 20 minutes to town for dinner. While we were there, they had intermittent wifi issues, and by the next morning, it was simply out of order entirely. But outside of those issues, the rooms are new, nicely furnished, and quite comfortable.

A weekend getaway with my husband. Staff and room were excellent. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Did not use the pool or fitness room but they were very clean. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.

The room we had was really nice - very clean, comfortable bed, nice sofa. From desk warned that they were having some problems with the wi-fi, but that it was being worked on. Wi-fi worked in the room only occasionally. Worked fine in the common areas. Hopefully, the problem was resolved after we left. Staff was friendly. Breakfast though really wasn't very good. The apple juice tasted fermented at best, but really was pretty awful - just stuck to hot chocolate. The scrambled eggs were rubbery and a bit of a funny color. Potatoes were tasteless. Didn't try the muffins, but the sweet rolls tasted like they might have come from a vending machine. Stick to the cold stuff - the cereal, yogurt and granola were all fine. Only red delicious apples for fruit.

The rooms were outstanding, I didn't use the wifi so I'm not sure how it was. How ever, customer service could use some improvement. My sisters checked in first, and they said the lady was a little slow. When we got there we had to get a new room, my sister paid for it but I wanted in on my bw points, with the 10% discount. The lady didn't ask for my number and checked us into our room. I reminded her about my number and she then asked for the number. The computers are not private nor is their log book. Any guest could walk up and easily see any info on any guest they wanted to. We accidentally put one room key next to our phone so it erased it; the other key still worked. We sent our niece to get a copy of the key. She came back with one, but then our other ones didn't work. So we had to go get more keys, again. Breakfast started at 6:30 am. I got there at 6:35, and there was only the cold items. There were about 10 guests waiting for the hot food to come out. When the breakfast lady stepped out of the kitchen she told us that the food has to come from Villiage Inn. They don't cook the food themselves? My sister had a bowl of cereal while she was waiting for the hot food and there was no place to put the dirty dishes, no sink, no bus tub, nothing. There was one tong for the sausage, hash browns, and eggs with cheese. One. Not to much for choice on breakfast, just danishes and other bread and waffles. I then went to the front desk to get a copy of my receipt to make sure the bw discount applied. On the folio it said I had the triple A discount. When I talked to the front desk lady, she said, in a rude tone, "That discount is 10% just like the rewards discount, but we dont have a code for the rewards." Front desk can use some training. Other than the guest service, it was a nice hotel.
