Hospitality at its finest is what you get when you stay here. The customer service is second to none when it comes to Mrs. Misty & Mrs. Tracey! You're always greeted with a smile upon arrival & throughout the day when they see you. One of the biggest things that stands out is they remember you by name and welcome you each time. The rooms are very and clean and maintenance is kept up around the hotel. They have a wonderful breakfast from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. every morning & coffee throughout the day. Housekeeping staff is friendly especially Ms. Alicia she always has a smile every time you see her. Got a chance to meet Mr. Noah as he was doing some cleaning on the first floor and have to see this hotel has some of the most outstanding & friendliness employees. This makes it feels so vibrant and special when staying away from home or just stopping in for a night or two! Great Job to this wonderful staff for received 5 stars from me!
The hotel is clean. There is also hot breakfast served every morning (a lot of choices). The staff is friendly and helpful. The manager is very personable and always ready to help. I like the location as well. It was my second stay there during last four months. I highly recommend this Best Western Plus Hotel & Suites.
The stay at this hotel was very calming-no worries and able to enjoy my vacation. Clean rooms and no noise when trying to sleep. Could get fresh towels and sheets as needed and no complaints. The breakfast was free and very yummy with plenty of a selection
Stayed at this hotel for family reunion. The staff was rude and unprofessional. I was told by a staff member and refused housekeeping services to change my bed after I spilled coffee because she said they only did housekeeping every three days. Then the staff member left the front desk for over 20 minutes, which is a safety issue.
Everyone was so nice and helpful and it was really clean! I stayed with my son and I felt really safe and welcomed. All the staff spoke every time we seen them and made our stay even better. If I am ever back in the area I will definitely be staying at this hotel.
The pool was warm and clear. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a dog park right near the hotel. I also noticed a very nice fire pit. It was raining so we weren't able to use it. I intend to stay here again. My kids loved every minute of it.
We have been traveling around on a “road trip” and have stayed at 4 different hotels. This one is by far the best … room is clean and roomy (we got a suite), front desk personnel, Tasha, was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the best of all 4 hotels, I didn't get the name of the woman running breakfast, but super friendly. This place is a bit off the path, but well worth it. I recommend and would stay again.
This hotel was very comfortable and fairly new. The outdoor pavilion is lovely. There is a weight room and indoor pool. Rooms are spacious and better than the five star hotel in the area. The breakfast is lacking though, but it serves the purpose. I would absolutely return.
Nice hotel. Spacious room, all basic amenities (Fridge, microwave and coffee maker). Nice shower area with better space than the traditional tub. I didn't try the breakfast as it's a rare thing for me to do it. The best thing for me about this place though was the fact I got a top floor room (3rd) facing the back of the building. All I could see was a huge field of green and trees, no cars, no road. I've had a silent and comfortable night of sleep. Internet is good and also the TV size/channel selection. If I have to offer one single critical comment is about their mattress topper. It was soft but lumpy.
The hotel was in a good central location for my needs. Very clean and the staff went out of thier way to answer my questions. No issues what so ever.
Best Western Plus Tuscumbia/Muscle Shoals Hotel & Suites is a great place to stay. You won't be disappointed. The value is excellent. The rooms are clean, breakfast offers a lot of good choices. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had stayed there for 5 nights. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. I highly recommend it.
Staff was polite. The room was clean. Breakfast was decent. Everything worked. Overall, pleasant stay. Far enough off the road so that you don't hear passing traffic.
We had an amazing time. The hotel comes with a indoor pool access, gym, and breakfast. Also there is a cappuccino machine and it is amazing as well
Everything you need nothing you don't, friendly people, clean hotel. Great Parking lot, gazebo area with fire pit, corn hole area, outdoor grill etc. great value for what you get!
The whole staff from the front desk help to the cleaning crew to the people who prepared breakfast are all very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and I appreciate the fast that this BW gives the option to opt out of daily cleaning and laundry if we don't want it. Why wase water and employee time if the guest doesn't want it? We stayed three nights and didn't need the room cleaned or sheets changed. They told us at check-in to put our dirtly towels in the hallway and get clean towels from the front desk. This system worked perfectly.
Enjoyed the area and everything in my rooms were in working order and cleaned. Definitely will stay again when business have me down for the weekend. The town was ok and I have the opportunity to visit Muscle Shoals Sound Studio
If you are looking for a nice, quiet, friendly, reasonable, and clean place to stay keep going. The front desk was awful and lied about availability. Treated me and my children like we were not even humans. Thanks for making this trip on of my worst experiences ever. For example how do I pay more and get a worse room then the first one which was 30 dollars cheaper. Mold on the tub mat. Roofers banging all day. Heater was so loud. Rooms dirty. Bedding has other people's hair on it still. Dirty looks from front desk. Smh. Best Western please find better staff and management. Please.
WINTER STORM JANUARY 2024 My 16 year old daughter and I (f 40) became stranded in Muscle Shoals, AL due to the winter storm on our way back from my nephew's wedding in Tampa, FL to our home in Northwest TN. I became very nervous and scared the moment snow the size of golf balls started hitting the windshield... then I saw the Love's + Best Western Plus sign. I was put right at ease the moment I was welcomed to the hotel by Shea. I explained our situation and her hospitality was so warm, I knew right away we were in good hands. Due to the hazardous road conditions, we stayed 2 nights at the hotel. The entire staff was AMAZING! Shea, Mandy, Tash, Tamara, Stacie... they were all taking care of everything, working hard to make sure all the guests were taken care of. Next thing we know, we are all together eating beans and cornbread made by Shea... it felt like family. It was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life and I'm so glad my daughter and I have this story to share. A situation that could have been very scary for my daughter and I became a story of true southern hospitality, beans and cornbread included. THANK YOU!!! Shea, Mandy, Tash, Tamara, Stacie... Thank you for your undeniable ethics. You are the MVP's and we look forward to seeing you again. Many blessings upon you. We look forward to our return, albeit under more favorable conditions!
It is impossible to know what a hotel is like when you are going to an area you are not familiar with. Reading the reviews, I chose this one. I was very pleased with this hotel. Next door to a Love's and McDonald's. It was clean, the breakfast was satisfactory, the staff was friendly and helpful. There was fresh regular and decaf coffee in the dining area 24 hours. The towels were nice. The thermostat and hvac system worked great so I was able to keep the room at a good temperature. There was a little kitchen area with a microwave, counter, fridge and coffee maker. I was warried about what the coffee would be like so I brought my own cups and instant coffee. I didn't need to use it.
We had to get a hotel due to our motor home needing work and the mechanic needed it overnight. Shea at the front desk was very accommodating, we have 2 dogs and it was the first time we ever needed a hotel room with them with us. She made what was a stressful situation for us very easy and reassuring. She even got us a room on the first floor, making having to walk them much easier. Very nice hotel with great amenities, friendly staff, nice breakfast and all!! We will definitely go back when we are in the area!!
Don't keep driving to other cities. If you are on the road in North Alabama and need a clean place to stay with amenities and freshly renovated, this is the place. It was clean and quiet and enjoyed the stay.
The hotel is undergoing renovations, and some rooms aren't available at the moment, so book early. This is a very nice hotel, probably the best Best Western I've stayed in. The staff is always friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and nice. There are usb ports in the rooms, if you forget your wall plug.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were there for a family reuion and they went above and beyond for us!! We especially liked the fire pit, pavilion and use of the gas grill!! The adjoining campground worked excellent for our "camping" relatives. The Love's Corporation has a great setup with this property!! If we are back in the area we will definitely stay again.
Nice hotel. Room was clean and roomy. Microwave and mini fridge were a nice addition. There is construction during the day- but nothing to bother guests during the evening hours. Breakfast was a bit on the sad side. Coffee was fresh and the pot was always full. Overall a nice stay.
Hotel was great—good location, very clean, helpful and friendly staff, nice breakfast, awesome grounds with fire pit, gazebo, dog park, etc. I had a king suite and the room was huge. Enjoyed walking around the grounds. Great government rate!
I was excited when we arrived. The lobby was nice and the young lady checking us in was super friendly and very helpful. The halls were filthy, especially by the baseboards. Our shower had hair in it and the toilet was not clean. The pillowcases were dingy and the arms of the chair in the room were filthy. A group of travel ball parents and children arrived around midnight and there was screaming and yelling until way past 2 am. The bed was so very hard and the blanket on the bed looked like it had been washed with towels about 100 times (If you know, you know) I wanted to love our stay because it was the first time my husband and I had had the opportunity to get away in several months but unfortunately after I had to clean the shower and toilet and then listen to screaming and yelling, I could have stayed home and relaxed more.
Saturday night stay while we attended a wedding in the area. Check in way quick. Upon settling into the room we noticed our TV wasn't working. The front desk sent someone to help us and it was resolved quickly. Appreciate the attention given. King bed was comfortable. Separate couch in the setting area was convenient. We did use the refrigerator which cooled drinks well. There was a separate cabinet with microwave and coffee supplies. Bathroom had a large walk in shower which we prefer in rooms. By the elevators on our floor was a washer/dryer. Breakfast the next morning was good. Attendants kept the area clean and helped people get food to their tables and then quickly cleaned up. Nice to see this attention. There was an indoor pool but we didn't have time to use it. Really enjoyed our stay.
Me and my girlfriend was having to wait for our house to be delivered and needed a place to stay. The rates was good and the morning breakfast was outstanding. We are planning 2 more trips in the near future and Best Western is where we plan to stay
The hotel was fine, no issues with the room. However this trip was booked through our company travel agency. The room rate was quoted at $91 per night, however upon checkout the rate was $133 per night. Would not recommend.
This hotel was great - with a great location. I really enjoyed the LOVES truck stop right beside this hotel! And a Subway - The hotel was very clean and EXCELLENT customer service, but the BEST part was it is PET FRIENDLY!!! My fur baby was welcomed!
Rooms and staff are excellent. hard to find a good hotel anymore will be staying here again. parking is great. Breakfast was nice. Beds are very comfy. staff is awesome anytime you see anyone you are greeted and ask if you need anything. great job
Hotel was great! very clean. Great staff. only issue was the wifi it was almost non existent. Breakfast was average not great for the amount of people staying there not enough waffle machines etc. would stay there again.
This is the cheapest hotel I have ever stayed in. we arrived at the 6am to 9am breakfast at 7am to find all of the food gone and the attendant said that management would not allow for more food to be prepared. So it's up your's if you don't beat the railroad workers to the kitchen. What an unprofessional way to run a hotel. I'll never go back.
Well-maintained property with a great breakfast. The room was equipped with a mini-frig and microwave and comfortable beds. Very clean property inside and out. Close to major roads and felt safe in the area.
Perfect location and staff very helpful and rooms clean. Can't ask for any more. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Internet was fast and needle in my business you will not go wrong for the price you pay.
Tired after traveling and touring northern Alabama for 5 days, this was a lovely relaxing stay. Friendly management greeted us and gave us suggestions after telling her our itinerary for the following week. We enjoyed relaxing in the indoor heated pool. Rooms were clean, spacious, and quiet. The complimentary breakfast was the usual faire; if you need a freshly made omelet, go elsewhere. Service personnel was super understanding when I made a mess at the coffee station while trying to fill my water bottle. This hotel is in a great location for touring Music hall of fame and Helen Keller's birthplace, as well as Florence, AL. There is current construction for an RV stop next door, so I'm not certain of the quiet in the future.
Staff was nice and friendly. Hotel was clean, beds were comfortable. Breakfast could have been better for the price of the stay but typical complimentary breakfast. But all in all I would stay again, if I have to.
I booked a full weeks stay for business (per my anticipated schedule) . I booked my stay on the Best Western website. My schedule changed a bit and in order to cancel and rebook for different dates, went to 1 800 Best Western and talked to someone there to cancel and rebook for my needed dates. Check in was fine, the room was ok, just a typical hotel stay. Nothing great, nothing horrible. As is often the case, my schedule got changed before the week was out and I checked out on Friday morning @7:30 am. I was informed then, that per hotel policy, ( that I saw posted nowhere), that they would have to charge me for that upcoming night. I protested to no avail but the coup de gras came when I got the bill and they had billed me for an additional night. 2 nights that I had not been there. No amount of protesting to th management mattered. I was put off with promises to check on it, look into it, see what they could do, ect when the only real solution was to refund my damn money ! Calls to the corporate customer relations department proved to be as useful as pissing into the wind. "They have agreed to give you some bonus points toward a future stay with us"...ARE YOU KIDDING ME !!!???? I stay in hotels over 200 nights a year..and have done so for several years. I have NEVER had any other hotel pull this kind of blatant, in your face picking of my wallet before. I very often have to check out early or extend due to the nature of my business and until this, no problem. I'm not done with this but I am done with Best Western and damn sure done with the one in Tuscumbia. BE FOREWARNED. Stay there at your own pocketbooks peril or better yet, just drive on by and save yourself some money and aggravation.
I would definately recommend staying at BW Tuscumbia, AL. The breakfast variety is great, a lot of the other BW's that I encounter are still running limited or quick, grab bags, for breakfast. Definately two thumbs up.
Nothing to fault, everything worked as it should, everywhere appeared clean, good staff. Breakfast was the usual for this type of accommodation, namely juices, cereals, a hot selection as well as bagels and coffee, as expected.
Great hotel very clean very friendly staff the breakfast was awesome had a really great visit with them we really enjoyed staying there the pool was clean the again the staff was very very friendly they were store motorcycles for us at the night time very good visit all around
The hotel is clean (except the elevator floor was gross). Room was very quiet. We only had a little muffin for breakfast but the coffee was weak and had no taste. Front desk people were pleasant. Breakfast area looks nice. Quiet fields on back side of hotel. Next door to Loves truck stop and McDonald's. The bed was very hard!
Hotel was very clean, the staff was nice, and the breakfast was good. My wife and I can definitely get grossed out by hotels, but this one was very nice. I'm sure you can get more luxurious, but you won't get much cleaner. No complaints. Would definitely recommend.
Rooms were large, clean, and quiet. The food was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bathroom was large and the towels looked brand new. The location was great. The pool was well lit and plenty big enough. Parking was also well lit and we felt safe every where on the property.
Hotel was clean, staff was nice and helpful. the only problem I had was the side entrance door on the first floor, it wanted to stick after using your card to clear for opening . but overall I was satisfied with my stay.
I was reluctant to stay at Best Western Muscle Shoals/Tuscumbia because of the price, since a Microtel was near by. But our experience since our first booking has been worth it every time thereafter. The breakfast and internet service were the major selling points for me, as purchasing breakfast from a fast food restaurant for a family of four (plus one on the way) can be expensive in both time and money these days.
The hotel was very clean. Staff was excellent. Them being pet friendly is a HUGE PLUS! Cost was very reasonable. I would recommend this hotel above all others in the Shoals area!!! The pool is very nice and the breakfast was great!
This was our 3rd time at this property. Each stay has been in a clean, well managed property. Mattress was so comfortable that neither of us got that “hotel backache”! Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
Very clean, staff is on point. We stay here when traveling for business at least 4 time in a month. Never had any true issues and if we did it was small items and quickly resolved. Manager has been on site since opening of property and always so friendly. Shea works days and always greats us with a smile.
Wonderful hotel and staff. The rooms were exceptionally clean with lots of fluffy towels. Breakfast was a delight with good old Southern Comfort foods including biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, and many other tasty items.
We have stayed here a number of times. It remains one of the cleanest, best kept locations in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. It's night time staff at the front desk is really good at attempting to make every accommodation a happy one. The management of this hotel deserves a lot of credit for choosing employees who care about their guests. This is ONE Best Western that is far and above any other best western we have ever stay. In fact, we had decided not to patronize Best Western anymore until we “happened” upon a recommendation from a fellow travelled. We can only hope that this trend continues in all Best Western Pluses.
We were in town just for fun. The room was spacious for 4 people & so clean. I loved the shower. We just enjoyed our stay so much. Next time we'll bring swim suits to use the pool. The beds were comfy. The AC was on point. The wifi was not laggy. We didn't use the breakfast service but I'm sure it was top tier too!
My pullout couch was filthy, it looked like it hadn't been under in a while, the mattress was completely worn out and had big brown spots on, the pillows was completely full of hair I had to get a wet towel and wipe the pillows down it was literally full of hair
Everything was great the selection at breakfast, the pool was clean and warm. The rooms were clean and not ran down. The staff was very helpful with any questions and request we had. Will definitely stay here again.
I booked a suite and was charged for one when I checked in and went to my room I got a regular room and wasn't offered a discount or different room even corporate didn't help. General manager was rude
This hotel was clean inside and outside. The room, along with breakfast very satisfactory. There are no options for dining outside of fast food near this location. You needed to drive a few miles for a restaurant which was not fast food. We would stay again at this facility if in the area.
I've stayed in the Tuscumbia, Alabama hotel and all the staff makes you feel right at home. Excellent customer service. There's a fuel station (Love's) right beside it so if you are a trucker, this is a excellent location off Highway 20
This hotel is nice and clean. The rooms are updated and a nice size. I don't normally eat the free breakfasts at hotels but the food here was really good. The hotel is right next to a very busy truck stop. We were concerned about the possibility of truck noise through the night but we could not hear them at all. We also could not hear doors slamming like other hotels. We would definitely stay here again.
We have travelled to many countries and sailed many cruises. I say that for context not to brag. The context is this: YOU ARE NOT GONNA BEAT THIS MOTEL. Amanda, the general manager, could charm the birds out of the highest treetop in Alabama: kind, efficient, caring and very professional. Shea, the Assistant Manager, is much like Amanda. We can say that because of our experience with the front desk. Conner, in training, runs like a rabbit to please. Erica, the cook, will try her best to please. HOSPITALITY is the key word in this motel. It is first. It is noticed. It is THE thing one everyone's mind.
Excellent property and excellent service .. me and my wife were definitely pleased.. will definitely stay again in whenever I'm in that area..other businesses and properties could pick up good tips from this property
We enjoy staying here when we travel this area. The staff is always friendly and professional. The only downfall for me is that it is a little pricey even with discounts sometimes. Our last stay was a reasonable price for a Friday night.
Have stayed here multiple times no issues. However on the last two times the cleanliness of the rooms and breakfast have been a disappointment. Room was dirty with food stuck to the walls and didn't appear to have been vacuumed. Breakfast has been hit and miss with what they have available.
Problem with cleanliness here and response of daytime staff in getting it resolved. Not full set of towels, no garbage bags, or bag for ice bowel,!ring in toilet and fingerprints on shower and all mirrors.
This is the best hotel in the Muscle Shoals area. All staff members are friendly and willing to go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. It is located in a nice area and the entire property, inside and out, is very clean. Rooms are very comfortable and well-furnished and the breakfast is great.
I have slept in foxholes with the 101st Airborne more comfortable than this hotel. My wife as well as myself woke intermittently throughout the night because the bed was like sleeping on a piece of granite. The hotel still hasn't fixed a billing issue even after being told by several of the staff as well as Amanda Beavers the manager. My suggestion would be to book the Hampton Inn less than 10 miles down the road. Totally ruined our trip.
From the moment we stopped to find out if they had an opening until we checked out, this place exceeded out expectations. Friendly, clean, nicely decorated and an excellent breakfast. Amanda, manager, was so friendly and helpful. Thank you Amanda!
We like Best Western more so than other hotels for the quality of service. Muscle Shoals didn't inform us that the pool was closed for maintenance which did inconvenience us as we love to relax by the pool after a hard day at work. I have since been checking before I book anymore nights. Otherwise our room was exceptionally clean and staff was rarely seen or heard from which is weird but we had no issues.
Clean rooms with microwave and fridge. Great truck parking for tractor trailers because it's beside a Love's truck stop. Fast check in and check out services. Breakfast is served and last but not least they have Excellent guest check in services!
This hotel has still been charging my credit card after I've been checked out for weeks. Then after filing a complaint with Best Western's Corporate office they have posted another change on my credit card. Be aware of operations that the staff doesn't communicate.
Enjoyed our stay. The hotel appears to be new and very clean. Our room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was delicious and had many options. Florence is only 15-20 mins away.
Very friendly staff, outstanding breakfast and very clean place. The gazebo and gas grill in the back was a very nice feature, we went to the store grabed food and had a nice barbecue. Overall excellent place to stay!!
This place was very clean and nicely decorated. The staff was very friendly. The towels and sheets were clean and smelled wonderful. The breakfast was good but could use a few more healthy options like fruit or steel cut oats. It was a bit out of the way (I flew in) but worth the Uber fare.
On a trip from FL to MN for a summer stay, my phone died earlier during the 2nd day, using it for navigation, hotels (must be pet friendly) and restaurants meant my stress level was off the charts. The manager found us the nearest Verizon store and recommended several restaurants in the area in the event we would have to wait. Everything turned out well, this will be our overnight stay during our trips back & forth from now on!
This is one of the cleanest hotels that I have stayed at (and I am picky). Each staff member that I spoke to was accommodating, friendly, and helpful. The beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was hot and fresh when many places are not even having breakfast. The workout room was very good too! The kids also enjoyed the indoor pool.
This hotel was very clean and had a fun music oriented decor. It is Muscle Shoals! Beds and bedding were very comfortable. The hotel is in a convenient location right beside Highway 72, and a Love's Travel Stop.
This was a great place for the night. I was going on the good reviews. We were very happy. Wonderful, fun and welcoming staff. Fairly new hotel. This really is the Best BWs we have stayed in. Clean. Full hot breakfast. It is right next to a Loves truck stop. It was a good thing, easy to fill-up in the morning etc. Plenty of meal delivery options through Ubereats etc. Also pet friendly with a great, grassy dog walking area out back. My ONLY issue was with the pillows. I know pillows are expensive for a hotel to purchase. I wouldn't mind paying a couple extra bucks for more suitable pillows, it's the only reason for a 4 instead of a 5. Great stay! We will return!
Definitely one of the cleanest hotels I've EVER stayed in. Staff was friendly and extremely helpful, breakfast was wonderful. Beds are a bit hard, but the facilities were extremely clean and well maintained. We will definitely be staying again, hopefully soon!
We were on the road for 2 weeks and this hotel was one of the best during our travels. The location was great for our needs, we came into town to visit the music studios and the Rosenberg house. The staff was friendly and competent. The room was nicely furnished, clean and modern. Morning breakfast was fine considering the covid restrictions which were followed by staff. The room was quiet and we felt safe. I would highly recommend.
The staff of this hotel makes this great hotel AMAZING. From helping us with reservations for a large group to ensuring everyone had more than what we asked for, this staff always had an encouraging word for us, tons of smiles, and tons of customer awareness. I expect this level of service at boutique hotels, but this BW proved they love their jobs and their customers. We left feeling like we'd made life-long friends!
We were told there was no clean towels/wash clothes when we requested some on our 2nd night. The indoor pool was also closed due to a part being ordered over a month ago. That is why we chose this hotel.
Amazing staff, clean room, comfortable bed, very quiet even though hotel was completely booked. Also, enjoyed a hot breakfast. No soap or shampoo in room so bring your own or you'll have to ask front desk for some.
I was in the area for business / pleasure since my parents live in the area. My TA booked my room at the Best Western Plus Tuscumbia. When I got there Samantha (I think) was super friendly and helpful. Samantha is the managers daughter in law and was new just learning and had to ask for help when checking me in. But she was eager to please. I did not go up to my room until later that night. I was surprised to see trash in the trash can and on the night stand. It did not inspire trust in the cleaning staff with Covid 19 raging through the country as it is now. I had dinner with my parents and decided it was much safer to stay with them. The hotel is a pretty hotel, it is ashamed the cleaning left so much to be desired. I am hyper aware of Covid -19 because I do travel regularly. So I just do not take chances!
Couldn't have been more satisfied, from the time we checked-in to the time we checked-out, we were pleased with all the staff we encountered, our room and ammenitites. Rather than closing down the exercise room, the pool and the breakfast area like other hotels, they have managed to find a way to keep them open and allow their guests the option of still using them.
This is a nice enough property but the service was lacking in a big way! I believe this desk clerk was the most miserable person I have encountered in a while. I did get her name Makelia. When I stopped by the desk she would scowl and act as if I had disturbed her. Also she did not pay attention when a person was at the desk. When I came to check in another person was waiting to check in. We could hear people in the back talking and having a fine time but they sure was not concerned with customers. The other person waiting called out anyone home and she came to the front and said checking in? He said yes and I brought luggage trying to make light of the situation. She just stared a moment and said id please. I was surprised and disappointed with the lack of hospitality at this hotel.
We booked the conference room for a group of attorneys, court reporter, and videographer for the day. I spoke with Amanda prior to booking who was very helpful regarding the accommodations of the conference room and assured me it would meet our needs. Upon arrival there was fresh coffee and bottled water for our meeting and all at a very affordable price. We were very pleased with the conference room and the staff and will book again in the future.
After a long day of driving, we decided to get a hotel instead of going all the way home. Shea at the front desk was SO friendly and helpful. We appreciated the warm welcome and food recommendations she gave us.
We had a wonderful stay, we was welcome in by shea baker. She is such a friendly front worker. She made our stay so easy during the night. But i did also run into something that made me very fustrated. On 8/8. Around 10am I contacted the front desk due to me not have any towels and asked if i could please have some more. The response i got was " can you not wait until housekeeping got here." So i went downstairs 30 minutes later, and she said in a rude remark " i have already contacted houskeeping" My husband went down to ask a question about the pool and the same short lady with blonde hair response was "yup".. Is that a response you greet your guest? Last time i checked i was the visitor.
Facility and accommodations stack up against the high end chains. Front desk ladies are Top Notch, great service, super friendly and hospitable. I stay several weeks each month and never have complaints!
This is a lovely hotel and the staff is fair. My family stayed for the weekend and had a nice stay, I just hope we stay well. Our housekeeper (Casy) was very helpful but I was shocked to learn that they do not wash or sanitize the pillows! In conversation about the changes the hotel has made due to Covid the bedding came up. She said they change all pillow cases, I know she had to see the shock on my face. I would have thought that ALL BEDDING was laundered with all Covid cases we are seeing. BEWARE bring your on pillows and lysol is a very good idea. Other than this shocking piece of news we had a pleasant stay. I just hope we stay well.
Stay here while visiting family. The breakfast was a grab and go bag but there was no thought put into it. Not everyone can drink milk and eat anything. There should have been bags for allergies (peanut free items) and diabetic items.
Tammy and Amanda are 2 wonderful ladies that really care about their customers. They always have a smile on their faces and are wiling to bend over backwards for their clients. I highly recommend them! the hotel was beautiful and so clean . The entire staff was a dream to work with.
I stay at hotels often. This one is at the top of my list. Fresh room, comfy bed, good breakfast and nice fitness room. I didn't expect much because I usually stay at Marriott properties, however they are right there with Marriott.
We were in town for my parents 50th wedding anniversary and decided to stay here - putting up my parents along with my siblings' family and my family. When the staff learned that it was my parents' anniversary, they went above and beyond to make them feel special - accommodating our room location requests to decorating their room with special touches, and even putting their names on the marquee out front! It was such an impressive display of care and hospitality that is rare today. Thank you to the staff for a great experience.
Enjoyed my stay. Very conveniently located. Would recommend asking to stay on back side of hotel as it is near a truck stop.....very very nice clean well lite stop but nonetheless was loud at times. Breakfast was very good and staff was very friendly.
My wife and I had been on mini vacation. Traveling back through all the rain and was tired. Needed place to stay. Was greeted kindly and very friendly. Check in was easy. Breakfast was great. First time I seen sausage, chicken fried steak, and bologna for breakfast as well as all other items.
Loved staying here. I wasn't sure as I don't know this city well but was visiting a friend and i had a good price to stay there. It was so clean that I felt the hotel was brand new. I totally felt at ease there with my daughter. The pool was fabulous and beautiful and even caught a sunset from the large window there. The breakfast was a huge selection and we were happy with it.
Rooms were very nice and clean. Shea was very helpful and took every opportunity to be there when we had questions. Very nice pool to swim in. Pet friendly. Breakfast was very good every morning. Wonderful!
We always enjoy our stays at Best Western Plus. They have a very friendly staff. They also are a very accommodating staff. Our room was clean & our bed was comfortable. There were many food items to choose from on the breakfast bar & the coffee was great! We have stayed there many times & plan to stay there again next year!
I was very impressed with the cleanliness of this hotel. The staff were very friendly and kind. I would recommend this hotel and give it 5 stars hands down. It's usually hard to find this amount of quality for the price.
Clean and nice, breakfast was good and staff was accommodating . Plenty of parking and quiet at night just as a hotel should be. Will definitely be back, truckers welcome and will even give discount to cdl holders that park on premises.
BW is the only place my husband and I will stay at when we come to town. It's clean and accessible and the staff are always friendly! The breakfast has many options and the beds are extremely comfortable. The pool is indoor and has plenty of seats.
Overall I was very happy with our stay at this Best Western. It was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was out of service although I did not intend to use it. I would recommend a sign from the road to make it easier to find how to get to the hotel from the road. My only complaint was the same as someone else's - the biscuits were hard as rocks! Need to find a better way to prepare or keep them warm so they are actually edible. The rest of the breakfast was good.
Shea Baker waited on me at check in at front desk and right away made me feel at home Shea has the most friendly way of seeing to your needs and does it in the most professional ,polite, way with a smile Shea is a great employee for BEST WESTERN PLUS to have please let her know what she is doing really makes a difference
Ok, so the number 1 reason I rented a room here was becouse of the indoor pool - which was not working until Saturday night. They advertise a 24 hr coffee bar, so I tried it one night - there was not much coffee in it and the coffee that was there was not hot enough. They had hot hot coco packs there one night but have not refiled yet. The breakfast bar - there was times you could tell the meat was not freash - like yesterday the sausage was good and freash today NOT so much. Our 1st morning here the ham was not that freash but our secound you could tast the difference. Look I like drinking cold water - I guess they do not relize that people do like freash cold water to drink. The person who checked me in - Shea was AWESOME she is such a sweet lady. Oh there prices on there store iteams was not that bad. This morning one of there female staff members with short hair who was working the breakfest area was giving me and my husband the stink eye - I get she not felling good and all but the way she was acting - well I just did not feel comfortable around her. I do plan on staying her again though
The location was a little off putting, but once inside everything was great. Very clean and well maintained. The room was much larger than expected. A little soundproofing would go a long way, though.
We made a reservation online because it advertises "pet friendly". So when we arrived around 7:00 p.m. & were checking in, I reminded the clerk we had 2 small dogs. She said she would have to charge me an additional $40.00 ($20.00 per dog). When I told the clerk the website did not say anything about an additional charge. She said they could not put the additional charge on the website since each franchise is independenly owned. We left & they gave us a full refund. So be aware of the unadvertised pet fee. Not sure how others feel but I don't appreciate FALSE ADVERTISEMENT.
We stayed at Best Western in Tuscumbia for 3 days in October. Our room on the 2nd floor was fine. Check-in was super fast, room was clean, bed comfortable, decent breakfast, and staff was friendly. What more do you need for a moderate-priced hotel? Pros: lobby is nice, has a lot of brochures for area sights, computers/printer if needed, variety of seating in lobby area, several TVs going. Thankfully, Fox News was NOT playing! Coffee and tea available 24 hours. Free cookies at desk. Location was fine— next to a Love's gas station (Subway and McDonalds inside). We were about 10 minutes from all the places we wanted to visit. Muscle Shoals area is beautiful and has a lot to offer. Most regular folks will be satisfied staying here.
Celebrated an adventurous b'day weekend taking in the places around the area and was a little apprehensive about a Best Western - our apprehension was unfounded as the hotel was VERY clean, excellent - extremely friendly staff, and a very pleasant experience. The weekend/night crew was so helpful in recommendations of restaurants and tips of things to take along on our adventures! WILL DEFINITELY stay here again!
We came to this area to visit with old friends and to see the Dismals Canyons in Russellville, Al. We accomplished both with the most laughter and enjoyment that we have had in years. Our rest in the Best Western was great after 2 exciting days. It was a perfect mini-vacation!
Very clean hotel, and the folks were very friendly. Convenient to the concert we attended. Will be going back to spend more time in the area, to see water falls and fishing. First time being in the area, and went the Shoals Fest.
Traveled through Muscle Shoals so that my husband could check off a bucket list item and visit the Muscle Shoals Sound Studio. We called the Best Western toll free number to book the rooms and it was quick and easy. The desk clerk was very friendly and so accommodating. The rooms were large and well appointed. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The shower was huge. The housekeeping could use a little push though. The bathroom was kind of dirty, there was hair on the floor and the shampoo had already been used. The breakfast food was horrible. Thank goodness for yogurt and bananas. The lady working it was not friendly at all. She looked like she didn't want to be there at all. Everyone has a bad do so hopefully that's all it was. If not for the bathroom and breakfast experience I would give this hotel a 5 rating.
Large, comfortable room. The desk staff were helpful. Breakfast offered the best assortment of food I have ever experienced in a hotel stay. Questions concerning the area were readily answered. Maps and brochures were abundant. If in this area again I will stay here and will recommend it to others as well.
Traveling through to visit family we got tired and stopped for the night. The rooms were very clean, excellent customer service, comfortable beds, good coffee and breakfast. We would definitely stay again.
Drove from TX to visit friends in Florence. We picked this property based upon reviews and being members of BW program for many years. Beautiful hotel. Only issue was the compressor on the A/C which made noise each time the A/C would kick in....all night. Reported it the next morning upon leaving since it was late and we were exhausted after retiring and then hearing the noise..all night.
A great hotel, staff, fitness room , clean rooms, breakfast, indoor pool, neutral location, and lots of good eating close by. New construction hotel. Good place to stay if your traveling through or extended stay to work inthe North West Alabama Shoals area. Great value.
This location has become our preferred place to stay since my daughter has been enrolled in the University of North Alabama in Florence. It is off the beaten path but allow us a little down time before and after helping her to move in and of the dorm. We like it!
I have stayed here several times but this visit was full of problems. The tv in first room just clunked out. I was moved to another room & that tv just stopped working. I had to ask for the room to be cleaned &clean towels despite staying for 5 nights. I would hesitate to recommend this hotel again.
Nice hotel. The woman that checked us in was friendly. Cean room, the bed was to firm in my opinon but my husband thought it was fine. Had a good resturant (Mama Jean's) just a short distance from hotel to eat at. Location was just of the highway so easy to get to. Would stay again.
Employees are helpful and friendly. Additional items provided to make your stay comfortable. Good location close to restaurants and convenient store. Rooms and hotel very clean. Comfortable beds and reliable internet. Would recommend for the area.
Hotel Front Desk was courteous check in was a breeze. Housekeeping was exceptional. Breakfast was diverse and very good. Checkout was very efficient. Our stay was a business trip for 7 days we truly enjoyed our stay here. We wish to thank all the hotel staff for making our stay a most pleasurable experience . A beautiful hotel and inside and out.
We stayed here one night. Everything was great. Clean, pool, even a nice area outside to sit. Conveniently located and very quiet. Our view looked out on a peaceful field. The breakfast was really good, too.
Great place to stay - clean, helpful staff, convenient location to Tuscumbia, Florence, Muscle Shoals! Albert at the front desk and Housekeeping were beyond any expectations! Great breakfast, but it was cold.
Reasonable rates and a very impressive staff. We were impressed by the cleanliness and amenities and everyone on staff sought to be sure that all our needs were met. I will definitely stay here again when in the area.
Poor experience they were fleas in the room, alarm went off waking up everybody up at 5 a.m., filter evening, date of disability by having an inoperable elevator aft fire. Staff were disconcerted, and not moved until following morning from flea room.
I have always enjoyed my overnight stays at this hotel, the rooms are larger than normal and the beds are very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel if staying in the area. There are plenty of restaurants in the area too.
My 2 sisters and I stayed one night at the Best Western Plus in Tuscumbia/Muscle Shoals, AL. We were all very pleased with the room, especially the cleanliness. Everyone was helpful and polite. The breakfast was good but could have been improved some. But, overall we were delighted with our stay! Would highly recommend to others!
I was here for 5 nights and just wanted clean and quiet, and I got that. My interactions with staff were pleasant and professional, there is adequate parking and it's close to town even though it's in a remote spot. There's fast food and a gas station adjacent, if needed.
Spent one night with a friend of mine and our children. We had a suite on the third floor. Very spacious. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. Everything was clean from top to bottom. We stayed during the week and had the pool all to ourselves! It is a smaller indoor pool but perfect for a one night stay. Breakfast was good. Eggs, ham, sausage, cereal, waffles, yogurt etc. Would definitely stay here again if I find myself in the area!
We got a downstairs room and even though it was a holiday, it was still quiet at night. We have stayed here multiple times and for good reason. The full breakfast is out of this world. There is more than enough variety of food to satisfy any appetite. The rooms are very clean. Although, I'm probably going to sound like i'm contradicting myself, because I found a mountain dew bottle under the bed. It could easily been missed. Housekeeping is doing excellent work on the rest of the room and everyone who works here is very friendly. The only real complaint I have and the reason for the 4 instead of a 5 is that there are never any pool towels. I was told people are stealing them, so they gave us some more regular towels to use, which is fine. Still an excellent, nice, friendly, clean place to stay, for a couple or a family.
I stay here 2 times every month and it is absolutely amazing. Super friendly staff, clean and well maintained rooms. I seriously cany say enough nice stuff about this place, it's my favorite hotel in the state!
We stayed for 2 weeks. Our beds were comfortable and the room was always immaculate when we got back in the evenings. Our housekeeper Katie took great care of all of our rooms. Thanks for a comfortable stay!
We love the beds, staff..everything! Just jeeds a hot tub to make it perfect. I still prefer it without hot tub. Other local with hot tub do not compare. We always end up staying longer just to lay in their beds and watch movies. Who likes hotel beds? Not this girl. Eww! But we love theirs.
Hotel is new less than 2 years. 3 floors, free breakfast, indoor pool and fitness room. Located in the quad cities area, Muscles Shoals, Florence, Tuscumbia. Clean room but the wifi is unsecured and slow.
Nice room, nice pool, nice breakfast. Everything was clean. Very nice, could not think of a way this could have been any better. The 2 queen suite plus sofa was appreciated, lots of extra space for a family.
I stay here fairly often & the rooms are always nice & clean. Lots of options on TV & WiFi service is good. Most of the breakfast items are very good. Front desk staff is very friendly & helpful (and they gave us free cookies also).
Best hotel I have ever been too kacey and Sarah are the workers there and they are the best wouldn't wanna go to any other hotel!!! Amazing breakfast amazing service definitely see myself coming back here!!
Rented a 2 queen suite with pullout couch for my 10 year old son's birthday for him & 4 guests. Room was spacious & clean. Indoor pool was popular but clean. Breakfast was good. Not much interaction with staff. Had to wait to get someone's attention anytime I approached the front desk. The turn in from the highway was weird. You had to ride down the highway a ways to turn in if coming from East. We did not encounter any issues & would stay again & recommend this hotel to anyone.
I think his hotel was great! For starters, the staff was very helpful. I had to journey down to the lobby a total of 2 times to collect necessary bed supplies, and the woman working downstairs didn't get annoyed or take too long. The pull-out couch bed was comfortable, as were the pillows and blankets. The shower had great water pressure, and the 2 queen beds were very soft and comfortable for the family I was staying with, and we all slept soundly. The included breakfast was standard for a hotel, and therefore good for what it was. I have a few minor complaints. One of the pillows on the aforementioned couch had a strange stain on it, and I did have to travel to the lobby to get a sheet that probably should have been in the closet. These are minor gripes though, and I think this is a great location to stay at if you are looking for a cheaper, smaller hotel room for a night or two.
Fabulous in comfort and quality of rest and relaxation! Room was well appointed, comfortable and clean! Breakfast was excellent, hot, fresh and tasty! Personnel, front desk (Rachel) and the lady who managed the breakfast, were wonderful!
Wonderful experience from the time we arrived until departure. A new and and well appointed hotel...Very clean! The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and added so much to make our visit a pleasant experience. The full breakfast buffet was very good. . We highly recommend this hotel to those who are needing accommodations in the Tuscumbia/Muscle Shoals area.
Awesome hotel. Great friendly staff. Awesome indoor pool, fittness room, and breakfast . Lots of great dining options and convience stores are minutes away. Fast internet too. Super clean rooms. I highly recommend this hotel. It's great value if your in the Shoals area for vacation or a place to stop to rest on your way through to Memphis or Huntsville. I travel to hotels all over north Alabama and this hotel is top notch.
We stopped here without a reservation, on our way south. This hotel is beautiful and a great bargain. The service was excellent and especially Rachel at the front desk. Room was immaculate and breakfast was very good.
The staff are wonderful and very concerned about your satisfaction. I always look forward to my stay at this hotel. I'm in a hotel room room 4 nights a week somewhere with my job but this is absolutely my favorite place to stay.
Great Friendly Staff managing a Super Clean Facility!!! I stay here every time i am in the area. 100% Confident you will have an excellent experience as i have. The amenities are spectacular with an calming environment tucked strategically near lots of great places to eat and fun things to do.
Great hotel! Recommend this location for service, staff support, and good accommodations. The breakfast was outstanding also. My kudos to the Manager and staff for making my family's stay at this location a very enjoyable event.
Hotel was excellent with knowledgeable and helpful staff. Only reason they didn't get a perfect rating was because the shower needed to have the drain cleaned, very slow. Breakfast was excellent and the overall appearance was great. Close proximity to plenty of food and fuel.
Very clean hotel and clean rooms were decent size. Nice comfy bed. Good breakfast with bacon and eggs and other options. Friendly staff. Hotel was decorated very pretty for Christmas. Would stay here again when in town.
Great place to stay. Granddaughter enjoyed the indoor pool . The breakfast was good. The rooms were clean and decorated in a nice way. The beds mattress slept good. The tv didn't havevdome of the channels we like to watch
My Family stayed in The Best Western in Tuscumbia/ Muscle Shoals and I would definitely recommend them to anyone. They had very Nice accommodations. They had everything I needed while I was away from home and the staff were all helpful and friendly.
Thanks for another easy made reservation, fast check in. The staff is great , Hotel still looks brand new and you can't beat the comfy bed, quiet room and wonderful breakfast at a great price for my little family ! This is our go to place when we visit “home”(;
Very nice rooms for the price. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They have truck parking but it's a little difficult to get in and there are few spots but the Love's lot is next door. I will definitely stay here again.
The whole crew at Best Western Plus in Tuscumbia is awesome. Every time we stay there everything is great from reservations to the cleanliness of or room. I highly recommend this Motel 5+ stars going to stay here whenever I'm in the Sheffield, tuscumbia area.
The Staff at the Best Western Plus went above and beyond to meet our companies expectations and needs. Rooms were beautiful, beds were comfortable, pool was nice and warm. Loved the stay. Would recommend.
I was in town for 4 days for a business meeting. This is one of the nicest if not the best place I've ever stayed for work related business. Very friendly staff. Rooms are amazing. Bedding, showers. I would absolutely stay here again and again
This entire staff always goes above and beyond! The property is constantly clean and inviting, great breakfast with a ton of options, easy internet access, great suggestions from the staff about the area! A+ all around.
I travel for work and this has to be one of the best places to stay with the friendly staff willing to go out there way to help you in any way they can and clean rooms. Definitely will be back to stay again.
This was one of our places to stay as we crossed the country. It was a lovely hotel. Nice rooms Great breakfast. The staff was friendly. The bed was good and that is always a plus when on a long trip.
The staff are very friendly and helpful with any questions you may have. They're always happy to help any way possible. The rooms are new and very nice. I stay out of town close to eight months out of the year and I always want to stay at this motel. When you stay away from home it's always nice to feel welcome, and at this motel I do. I would highly recommend it.
This hotel is located next to a Love's truck stop, but it is very quiet. It is a somewhat odd location. The staff is friendly. The beds are very comfortable. It could be a little cleaner in the bathroom corners and behind the door of the bathroom. The indoor pool is very small. Breakfast is not the best. Some things did not seem “fresh” to us. The biscuits were kind of stale as well. We found a good value on line, and the hotel matched the price when we spoke to them directly. We would stay here again.
The room was clean and nice and plenty of towels. The bed was very soft and we slept like a baby. All the clerks were very friendly and seemed to enjoy there job and working there. The breakfast was extraordinary. This is the first place I have ever seen that had two waffle irons for the guests. When I asked the cook about some eggs with no cheese, she proceeded to fix me two fried eggs with no cheese. This was really nice. The pool was very nice, indoors, and clean. The pool towels were missing, but it was also late at night. It was also a very quiet hotel. The price was very reasonable. I would stay here again anytime.
So this property seems to be very new. If I had to guess I'd say it's less than two years old AND the fact that Google maps gets the location of the hotel wrong. It is very neat, clean and organized. I travel a lot for business and my reviews of hotels are generally from that perspective. This just happened to be a personal trip so I'm going a little easy on my review. Once we found the hotel the check in was easy and the receptionist was very nice. The lobby was spacious and well laid out. Coffee service was prominent and the business center was close and convenient. Our room was well-equipped for a single traveler but with only one sitting chair (the one chair was brick-hard and terribly uncomfortable) and one office chair there wasn't really anywhere for both to sit comfortably to relax or watch TV. You may be thinking “what about the bed?”. Good question. The bed was hard. Not just firm but HARD. So hard as to be uncomfortable. The linens on the beds were good and of high quality but the bed was so hard neither of us slept well both nights we stayed. The bathroom and shower were spacious but there really was only room for one person around the sink. One could take a shower while the other used the sink, to be sure, but made for two it is not. The toiletries and towels were decent. As a solo traveler the room would have been good except for that rock-hard bed. The work space was decent with adequate power and lighting. The TV was very simple with a limited selection of channels.. We did like the refrigerator in the room and the coffee pot. It would have been good to have more than two coffee packets. The morning breakfast was good and the dining area was clean and comfortable. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly and smiled genuinely. Overall, the stay was good, with a comfortable bed and chair it would have been a 5-star review.
Clean. Large rooms. Well appointed. $115 for a king double. This chain offers consistent 3/4 star properties. This one is better than most. Noise level quiet. Breakfast very good. If this review is helpful then please indicate so below.
I rarely ever give a 5 but they earned it. I have not one single complaint. The continental breakfast was well above average. The room was huge and very clean. Staff was super friendly. I went through Priceline and the deal was great. Overall, nice surprise.
My daughter and I stayed her and were pleasantly surprised by the state of this Best Western. The room was spotless, the beds were super comfortable, the bathroom was huge and supplied with everything we needed. The towels were big and extra fluffy. Most importantly, the night hostess was super friendly and helpful. She answered every question with extra information and smiled the entire time despite the fact it was nearly midnight. The breakfast was above average, hot, and delicious. I would definitely stay here again if I travel through the area.
Great hotel, the best staff I have ever come across. Can't say enough abou the staff and how welcome they made us feel. Highly recommend it. beautifully decorated. very clean and comfortable. Location ok, but worth the stay for the area.
Everything about this motel was top notch! Front desk was so welcoming. Offered our group of 4 motorcycle riders parking under cover in the front of motel so front desk could keep an eye on them for us. Outstandingly clean throughout this property.
This hotel is fabulous in every respect! The outside , the lobby, the hallways and the rooms are all meticulous in cleanliness and maintenance! The breakfast is fantastic, hot and fresh! The front desk, the breakfast lady, all personnel that I came in contact with were truly first rate! Stay could not have been better!
Great and clean place to stay. Very accommodating to all of our needs and requests made. Rooms are new and well kept. All the staff were nice. Easy access to the highway. Will definitely stay there again.
This was a wonderful stay, very friendly staff, helpful with places to eat and things to do while we passed through ! Great breakfast bar had many choices !!! Would definitely suggest you stop next time your in Tuscumbia Alabama !!
This is a great place to stay with great service. I normally stay in Florence when I am I the area but my regular hotel didn't have a room and suggested Best Western Plus In Muscle Shoals. This was a very clean hotel with very friendly staff. They were very accommodating, I was early and needed to go on to work but did not want to leave my luggage in my truck all day. The desk clerk offered to keep my luggage at the front desk for me until I came back to check-in. When I returned that evening and checked in the clerk told me that my luggage had been set in my room. Later when I asked for recommendations for restaurants, she told me about several different restaurants close by. The staff went above and beyond for me during my stay. I just found a new place to stay whenever I am in the area! Thanks Best Western you rock!
Anyone visiting the Muscle Shoals, Tuscumbia area should consider stayibg at the Best Western. The recent renovations are obvious. The ambiance of the property is very nice. It has one of the nicer gyms that I've used during any hotel stay and the staff were all genuigenu pleasant.
The hotel is very clean and the staff is very professional. The bed slept well and there were plenty of pillows. Breakfast was good. It seems like a very safe and secure hotel. The rooms are well appointed and the wifi is great.
Hotel very new, very clean and nice amenities for this level of hotel. However door lock broken, staff said no one available and did not offer to move. Could deadbolt once inside but when I left the room no way to lock the door. No water bottles available in sundry area and vending machine out as well. Staff at front desk had indifferent attitude at best.
This area has a lot to offer the music enthusiasts, Alabama Music Hall of Fame, W. C. Handy home and museum, Fame Recording Studios, Wishbone Recording Studio, Hele Keller birth place. The history is really rich in this area. Also make sure that you visit Spring Park, the Trail of Tears Indians stopped there and the townsfolk made the soldiers give the Indians a rest and let some of them heal from injuries and disease before continuing their journey.
We went to the Shoals for a mini vacation for our wedding anniversary. This hotel is new and kept up very well. I've stayed at many more expensive chains that were not as nice as this one. I would gladly stay here again.
Had great time! Enjoy our stay at the Best Western in Tuscumbia, Alabama, the room was clean and comfortable the breakfast was great and the Alabama history that we got to visit was just amazing. Would love to come back.
We have been staying in Best Western hotels in the USA for the last ten years and we think this has been the best. The foyer entrance is lovely and extremely spacious and clean. Rachael at check in was very helpful and was able to give us information about where to eat and the area. This is our first time in Alabama and we received a very friendly and warm welcome. We were concerned about the noise factor as the hotel is next to a Loves truck stop and was full of trucks. We were on the second floor and had no noise either from within the hotel or from the road, ALT72. The room was spacious, bed and pillows comfortable. Bathroom was large. A hot and cold breakfast was served. I do not have any negative comments about this hotel.
My experience is you cannot go wrong with Best Western when road-tripping. This hotel is about a third of the way down the Natchez Trace Parkway from Nashville in the northwest corner of Alabama, so it was a good stopping point for me. Friendly customer service from the desk, housekeeping staff, and the folks working the breakfast room. Nice rooms with walk-in showers with frameless glass doors. Refrigerator and microwave and large flat screen television. I was upgraded to a room on the ground floor near the lobby with a sofa and coffee table which was very nice. There is a Love's Travel Stop next door. Thanks again, Best Western.
I am in the area at least 8 nights every month. I am so glad I found this hotel. The staff is great and so friendly. I was happy to see a new hotel in the shoals area, this hotel is super nice. They offer a great breakfast and the breakfast attendant is also friendly always asking if you need anything. I just found my new home in the shoals.
Great place to stay sans kids. walk in shower - no bath. everything else was great and would do again. gas station with restaurant next door and at an excellent location for getting to Muscle Shoals and Florence. Doors close quietly so I wasn't woken by slamming doors when neighbors left early. hot breakfast had everything I desired. good location and great value.
The entire staff was more than accommodating....when making reservations, once we were there and especially when I left something very important. I appreciate their effort in mailing it to me while in transit. Our room was clean and a great breakfast. Definitely a place to stay if in the area.
I was in the area on business and had not expected to stay overnight. I thought i would try the Best Western and that was a great choice. The front desk was very nice and helpful and the hotel was very nice and clean.
Arrived and received exceptional customer service, from the front desk, housekeeping and breakfast attendant. Breakfast was hot with a lot of varieties to choose from. Beds were fantastic and had a wonderful night sleep. The music appreciation in the Muscle Shoals area was shown through out the hotel and very interesting to inquire about and visit the famous Fame recording studio. Would definitely stay here again.
Overall, this is a nice hotel and I would likely stay here again. However, the room heating and air conditioning unit was very loud and inconsistent in temperature. We stayed three nights. On our second day we came back to our room late and realized no one had ever come to make up the room. There were still wet towels on the floor and the bed was unmade even though we had been gone a better part of the day and evening. The lights in the fitness center are motion activated so after 10 minutes or so on the elliptical, the lights would go off because no one had stepped on the floor. There are nice amenities here like a free breakfast and 24 hour coffee and tea. Also, the folks at the front desk were very nice and pleasant.
The beds was very comfortable and the rooms with king bed was large enough to make you feel at home and rooms was very clean.the staff was so friendly and were also very professional my wife and I will stay there again
Upon arriving, I noticed how clean and aesthetically pleasing the place was! Great customer service and nice amenities also made for a good stay. I will definitely want to stay here when traveling this way again!
Really large room. Spent an afternoon here during long stint away and it was a clean, quiet environment to relax and we even got our laundry done! Water pressure was a little anemic but otherwise was great.
My wife and I spent Thursday night here on the was to a weekend visit to Chattanooga.I called about 6:30pm that evening to see if rooms were available. They said yes. I then booked a king bedded room and paid by credit card. However, when we arrived about 9pm to check in, the desk clerk said that she had sold all their king rooms to walk in customers. Since we were tired, I took a two bedded room at same price and went on to bed. Room was real nice, clean and new. We went down the next morning for breakfast. Lots of selections, all hot and ready. Real good coffee also. we checked out and departed for Chattanooga. That evening, my wife realized that she had left her nice robe and night gown on the back of the restroom door. We called Saturday morning and desk clerk located it. We asked for it to be mailed to us as we planned another route home. However, due to pending weather, we returned the same route, stopped and asked for her 2 items. Desk clerk readily located them and returned them to my happy wife. Great service!
We stayed here for two nights on our way south. The property is new (I think it opened in May, ‘17) and is the nicest BW+ we have stayed in, and we have stayed in a lot of them. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings, comfortable beds, a big TV, and microwave and refrigerator. The staff was very pleasant and the breakfast area was very nice, with a good selection of items. We will drive out of our way to stay here the next time we are in the area and recommend it to you without reservation (no pun intended).
Great location for restaurants and site seeing trips in the Tuscumbia, Muscle Shoals, Florence areas. The hotel was built in 2017 and has a good breakfast to start your day. The fitness room was well stocked with new equipment.
Everything is great at this hotel. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable Staff is very friendly Breakfast was good. It's convenient on Hwy 72 Everything you need is available at the hotel or near it
This hotel has become my home away from home! Since my daughter enrolled in UNA my husband and I spend a lot of time here. I was very happy to find out that I had accumulated enough rewards point to earn a free night; that was great. We enjoyed it. It is off the beaten path but not too far out. We like it. Enjoyed the breakfast, the staff was nice and friendly. Looking forward to more stays there. She will be attending UNA for at least 3 more years and she does not have a car. It in a location that is not too far from campus nor too far from my other daughter who lives in Huntsville. It is nice and quiet!
the HVAC unit it my room made a fluctuating screeching sound that interrupted my sleep throughout the night. Unable to get the rest I paid for. Very bad experience. Additional note: the TV channel selection was also bad (too many evangelical christian stations).
We chose to stay here after a fully eventful day of traffic and travel hiccups. We intended on traveling at least a couple more hours before very pleasantly stumbling onto this brand new hotel. Our room was exceptionally clean and very modern. The ceilings were incredibly tall, making our first floor room seem much larger. The standing stall shower was excellent too. I forgot to check the mattress type but it was incredibly comfortable. The staff was very friendly, and breakfast on a Monday morning was very relaxed as we were the only ones there. Ham, sausage, folded cheese omelets more were easily enough to fill up our toddler and ourselves for a long day of driving again. We noticed but didn't utilize a Loves Travel Stop with McDonald's and Subway right next door. We would definitely recommend staying here and would stay again if in the area.
New hotel very clean and comfortable. Pool was indoor and nice for kids and had a nice gym. Had the normal continental breakfast with a nice area to sit and eat. Check in and out was very easily and staff was friendly.
We stayed at the Best Western Tuscumbia on Friday, October 6. It was an overnight trip for my son's cross country team. It was a wonderful stay. The hotel was clean and still smelled brand new. Rooms were large and spacious with refrigerator and microwave plus desk and lots of counter space and a chair and ottoman. The hotel staff was amazing-shout outs to Tammy, Mikayla and Teresa-all so helpful and accommodating!! We will definitely recommend this hotel to others in the future!
