Best Western Hedasen

Good quality and very nice staff. Girl in reception (Azra) is very nice but even other personal. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Can recommend hotel for long and short stay. Looking forward to visiting this hotel again when I will be in Sandviken. At least for very good dinner and lunch.

This hotel is in a great location. The room had a balcony with comfortable seating that overlooked a golf driving range. The staff went out of their way to ensure you had a great stay. There was a large variety of choices at the buffet breakfast. It is in a peaceful, convenient location south of the town with plenty of onsite parking. The hotel restaurant caters for a range of traveller options. Food was cooked to order, hot and delicious.

Not a great stay. The location was really nice. But otherwise: the shower had mold and quite dirty soap holders. Drain was not working well so the water was pooling which caused issues throughout the bathroom because the seal on the shower door was warped. The room was so warm, set at 23 degrees with no way to change, and no windows. Walls are very very thin. We can hear everything, even people's cell phone ringing in the other room. We were on ground level, so heard every step of the people above. The breakfast was disappointing. The fruit was good, but most of the food in the hot serve area was not fresh. Felt like some of it was made the day before.

Everything was perfect. The personal in the restaurant, at the reception all were very kind and supportive. Rooms and hotel were clean and the dinner at the restaurant was very delicious. The best thing I liked was to have Youtube, Netflix and Amazon prime at the TV in the room.

Good hotel, very attractive price compare to other hotels in the area. Amazingly welcoming staff. Very good breakfast, wide variety of different dishes, fruits and drinks. Very approachable evening meal prices, different evening meny every night.

Relaxed people working in this hotel, do everything to make your stay the perfect experience. Great rooms with anything you need. Good and fresh served breakfast. If you need anything ask for Baktash and he will help you, best host around the world.

New years eve getaway with husband and dog. So cosy and quiet and a lovely relax/pool area with sauna. Staff was so friendly and the breakfast was amazing. Not the biggest one but might be ome of the best qualitywise.

Close to nature, with forests, big lakes, quiet area. Perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. My son and I really enjoy this hotel. We go there every other month and we always have a good relaxing weekend , with a lot of nature activities.

Quiet hotel with friendly staff, always with a smile and willing to provide help. Nutritious breakfast with a lot to choose from. Nice, clean and spacious rooms. Generous parking space around the hotel.

We (family of 4) recently spent a night at the Best Western Hedåsen. We stayed at this hotel for the simple reason that it fit out road-trip schedule and we were pleasantly surprised! The customer service was 5-star. The receptionist (who I suspect was the owner of the hotel) welcomed us and really treated us well. We booked a family room, which turned out to be a mini-suite! The room showed a few signs of wear and tear, but I didn't mind. I was happy that there was a separate bedroom for us parents and a living room with a coach-bed for the kids. (Usually a "Family room" in Sweden means a slightly larger than standard room with a pull-out bunk bed, so we were very happy with the mini-suite. Finally, the breakfast was excellent. I stay at a lot of hotels in Sweden and abroad (most of which I forget to review) both for business and pleasure and I can honestly say that this was one of the best breakfast spreads I've seen. I hope that I find a reason to pass by Sandviken again so that I can revisit this hotel. :-)

Located close to main road. Good breakfast, good car parking. Clean rooms. Nice service in reception. Middle class hotel with all needed but without any luxury. A bit cold room with not best possible noise cancellation. Shower taking a while to get warm water. Worth staying, sleeping and going for next step.

Very friendly and helpful staff, great dinner and lovely family room. Perfect stay when visiting the ski slopes. We were fathers with children staying in 2 rooms: staff were very helpful in sorting out accommodation next to each other and great with the kids.

AC was nonexisting so be sure to time your visit here with an outside temperature that you feel comfortable sleeping in. Staff was friendly and breakfast and dinner great! I would recommend the restaurant but advise you to bring a tent for sleeping.

This was our second visit to this hotel and we were made to feel welcome from check in until we left. We had a larger room this time as we were staying for just over a week which suited us very well. It had a lovely bathroom and a seating area as well as a fridge. Good location close to lakes and beach area and bus stop outside. Really good breakfast choice and all well presented. Excellent coffee. Would stay again in the future.

We meet friendly and helpful staff, Very good ans complete breakfast, if something missing, they bring it. Good price / Performance ratio We will surely come back again. It is also close to nature and Storsjön.

We were visiting the area and stayed here rather than in Gavle. Lovely quiet location about a 20 minute walk to the beach at the lake through the trees. There is a bus route outside on the main road too. There is plenty of parking outside as well if you have a car. We were made welcome and the room was clean and had everything we wanted. The shower was very good. Note if you are staying on a Sunday there is no room service and the restaurant is closed. Excellent buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. Everything was well laid out and lovely bright breakfast room. Would definitely stay here again.
