Best Western Pocatello Inn

We are snowbirds and have always stayed at the best western in Pocatello. Not anymore. Once we were dead bolted in our room and exited thru the window as the repairman entered thru the window. Glad there wasn't a fire. Last time charged $200 for a deep clean due to pets. WE DONT HAVE A PET. They refused to refund. Had to get visa involved. They could not provide proof. They Said there was cat litter and cat hair on the furniture as well as urine on the floor. Again, WE DONT HAVE A PET. One of three things could have happened. 1) They had the wrong room. 2) they gave us a dirty room, 3) because we previously travelled with our dog, they thought we were trying to get away without paying the pet fee and tried to get back at us. Sadly, our dog passed away in August (this stay as in November) and WE NO LONGER HAVE A PET. They said it was a cat. Have not had a cat since the 1970s. Called corporate, no help. Sent numerous messages to president/CEO plus other employees listed on the internet. Nothing. Visa reversed the charges. Thank you Visa. Finally spoke with a lady out of corporate two or three months later. Explained the circumstances. She was sympathetic. She gave us a $50 gift certificate as due to the exchange rates, even though visa gave us our money back we were still out $50. Had enough. Will find another hotel to stay at

Had a good stay. I called motel before arriving after reading reviews of construction but that no longer seems to be an issue. We had a nice sized room this time but keep in mind some of their “compact” rooms are, well, compact. Indoor pool was open and the fitness room was 24hr although I didn't use it. Great breakfast selection in large room. I received a room discount by showing my CDL. Friendly staff. On a Friday night the noise from families got a bit loud but that wasn't unexpected.

Was nice and cozy. Room was nice and big. Pool and hot tub was nice and clean. Breakfast was good many options to choose from. All the staff was nice and helpful. They worked with us on a late check out.

Dirty, grimy and not good customer service. We like BW and will seek them out when making reservations. This particular stay at this BW taught us a valuable lesson that not all Best Westerns are the same!

This has been one of my worst experiences at a hotel. We are paying over $200 a night to stay in an unfinished, under renovation hotel building that is a hazardous construction site and is dirty and disgusting. The only reason we are still here is because the whole town is sold out due to the Simplot games. When I booked this room, they never told me anything about all the construction happening. We had to walk through mud and under scaffolding just to get into the building. There's exposed wires and construction equipment everywhere. Our room is unfinished and completely dirty. Paint stains and dirt on the carpet. It shouldn't even be legal for them to be able to sell this room to us. See photos below. I can't imagine it is up to code for occupation. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Do not recommend We made reservation months ago and when we arrived we were put into a building that was being renovated, the whole outside was covered in clear construction tarp so the inside had no light the inside of the building had construction workers walking in and out with equipment, mud everywhere. The room inside was a dungeon completely dark, walls not painted, windows didn't even appear to be sealed, it's freezing outside by the way. It was a dark room with two beds nothing else. The manager would not switch us into another building at all. The building they were offering us is a safety hazard and should not even be rented out at all while that kind of construction is going on. We canceled and went across the street to the La Quinta instead!!

From the time I step into the lobby until I leave my room to return home, my entire stay is very pleasant. The staff is friendly and professional. Many times they go out of their way to to make my stay be very comfortable.

my stay at the best Western there in Pocatello was top-notch. The hot tub and the pool were very clean and inviting. The staff working the front desk went above and beyond the job to take care of my family members needs.

When you pull up to a property for the first time, even a "pet friendly" property all kinds of thoughts go through your head, particularly if you travel with a fairly large dog... in this case a female GSD. Our worries were groundless. Check in was effortless, getting to the room was easy, the room was clean, the bed, bedding and pillows were excellent. Breakfast at 6:AM is really appreciated since we had a long way to go that day. The meal was hot and tasty. There was a continental breakfast buffet available which we took advantage of, sneaking out a couple apples and bagel for a mid morning, on the road snack. In short, yes I would stay there again and yes I would and have told my friends and a few other travelers that I have encountered that they should seriously look at staying at his Best Western!

Rooms are small but good for two for one night stay. Hotel is clean, , staff are friendly and they have a great breakfast. The lounge has good food and there are good restaurants within walking distance. Good stay.

Hotel needs alot of maintenance done. Rooms small for the price. Allows pets but no pet area. No extras provided without calling house keeping for towels coffee,cups etc. Breakfast was great however having to try to open door with handle instead of just pushing was difficult. Push out door was locked.

Clean comfortable quiet hotel, but beware many steps to get to your room even on the first floor. Not sure if they have any without all of them. But a long way to go with bags. Great breakfast, usual items but were hot and many choices. Friendly staff.

Enjoyed the room and got good value for the money. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful in finding what we needed. got the road easily to our next destination to Montana for our summer trip to dillion

Can't say enough good things about this property. It's well off of the freeway and away from the busy intersection at the bottom of the hill leading to it. The check-in clerk was friendly and gave us a great rundown of on-site amenities as well as information about nearby restaurants that offered 10% discount for guests staying at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable and we slept great. We will definitely stay at this location again on our next trip to Pocatello.

Very nice hotel, nice common areas, nice room. Also has a nice restaurant/lounge with good food and pleasant area. I enjoyed the visit there in July and am returning for another visit in August on my way home. I would recommend giving this a try if you are in the area.

Upgraded upon arrival due to status. Pleasant surprise! Room was spacious and clean. Quiet and a/c worked fine. Do bring a bath mat as the tub is very slick. Hot tub was at a good temp and the area was spotless. Breakfast was good, with many choices.

We arrived for the first night: 1) Gentlemen were very helpful accommodating our needs with a room change and luggage transport (only one ramp on the west wing side to the first floor, CANNOT use the luggage roller to the second floor due to flight of stairs). 2) First room on first floor had bug issues behind the bathroom door - took photos. I went to the desk, showed him the photos. He was shocked and offered another room. The second room on the second floor was just as dirty with toothpaste spit on bathroom mirror, children smeared fingers on the mirror next to the couch, and long hairs in between the sheets on one of the beds. We didn't dare go downstairs for a free breakfast. 3) Size of the 2-Queen Suite was nice with a couch, chair, coffee table, office desk with chair EXCEPT the bathroom. The bathroom door was so tight, your body had to move to the side - push the door - scrape against the toilet. The toilet did move back & forth, felt sorry for the people below with the racket. The water pressure was pour but bathtub was clean. 4) Suggest cleaning crew go inside the bathroom, close the door and sweep out residue, hairs, etc. behind the door. Suggest the checkout lady ask 'hope you had a good stay' 5) Towels were clean. Pillows and Linens were good quality (other than # 2s issue) 6) Reason why I stayed, had other family members in the same hotel for a funeral. No time to shuffle. 7) Applebees and Sandpiper are walking distance - get a discount if you show your hotel card. Swimming pool always had someone swimming (looked cleaned, but didn't use it).

Got a great deal and even a voucher for the restaurant since the front clerk know it was our anniversary. The restaurant was delicious and the female bartender was so nice, friendly and helpful.. We would certainly stay there again.

Best Western in Pocatello is great location and beautiful in the summer months. I stay here when I come to visit family. Always get a good night sleep and a full service breakfast. The rooms are clean and spacious. Front desk staff always friendly and helpful.

From the moment I walked in and was greeted by a very friendly receptionist who was determined to provide the highest quality service. And the breakfast was outstanding and the supervisor of this experience was another five-star employee. Truly and enjoyable experience one that I will repeat. TThorpe, Ogden

I called and reserved a room with a king bed for my wife and dog. Upon arrival I was told there would be an additional fee for the dog and that I would have to stay in a “ pet friendly” room, and there was no room available with a king bed ? The room we were given was on the main floor at the entrance. There was noise all night long and sleep was impossible ! The room was dated, dank and dark with no carpet. The bathroom door squeaked badly and the bed was uncomfortable at best. We shouldn't have stayed the night there but it was late at night and we were tired from our long journey

Reserved with staff on phone, then staff said they would cancel reservation. Months later received a "no show" charge. Staff and manager unwilling to work with me and very rude. Staff didn't follow through with cancelling reservation as they said they would.

Worst hotel experience I've ever had - poor untrained staff , dirty, unprofessional. Overcharged for stay and refused to make It right. It turns out that each hotel handles its own billing as a franchise- and the corporate office refuses to help

after being told our room was garaunteed to be ready at 4 pm at 430 was told probably would be another hour.. was give a different room with a roll out that seemed to come out of a jail cell. just awful.

I accidentally left a blanket in the room i was staying in, i called the front desk to let her know, she said “yes the housekeepers put my blanket in the lost and found” i informed her that i would be bacc to retrieve it, i went bacc the next day, after waiting 20 minutes for the manager to run bacc and forth like a chiccen with its head cut off, she told me my “husband” picced up my blanket. I DONT HAVE A HUSBAND. She said they are not responsible for items left in the rooms. So they basically stoled my blanket. Guess they needed it more than i did. Assuming how the housekeepers “clean” the rooms there its expected the manager is unprofessional as well.

This was our second time to stay. It's a great stop on road trips on Highway 15. Also within easy walking distance of the Sandpiper Restaurant which makes this even an easier stop on long drives. Clean and friendly staff.

We asked for a Queen Suite, got a Standard room. Asked for a quiet room, we got a lower level where someone checked in above us at 2 am, thumped around, had a shower. Then at 3 am, the snow ploughs started and it sounded like the Indy500. We were a foot away from the road!! The bathroom door had a big black handprint on it. Toilet was child- size. The check- in member presented as unprofessional, wearing a “dead pool” t- shirt. The morning clerk was unkempt, as was the breakfast attendant, wearing his toque! The foyer and breakfast rooms were very cold. It looks like a hotel that's going under! Never again!

Conveniently located just off I-15. In the process of renovating the premises and what is done looks amazing. Very friendly staff, good hot breakfast make it a good place to stop. It has a lounge inside that serves foot but is also walking distance to a couple of good restaurants as well

Went to check in and there was a line infront of me to check in; howevere, the front desk thought it was more important to stay on the phone with someone trying to make a reservation for over 15 minutes rather than taking care of the customers in front of her. When another employee told me I could go to another hotel if I did not want to wait I asked for her name and she ran down the hall into an employee only area stating if I followed her she would call the cops. When I finally got to the front desk to check she said "she was going to deny my reservation for harrasing her employeeys except when she saw my status she would allow me to stay the night". Terrible service alround.

Best rates in the state, outstanding breakfast, great location, efficient staff and service makes the Pocatello Best Western one of my favorite places to stay when traveling for business or pleasure. The people always make us feel welcome.

Good stay, clean room that seem to be updates. Friendly and welcoming hostess. Real nice breakfast bar and plenty to eat. Great coffee and plenty of it. They have and indoor pool, looked inviting but didn't have a chance to try it out. This best western is your normal best western, so enjoy your stay

Good location, room lay out was funky, minimal bathroom space. Majority of counter space was in sleeping area. Room was clean, but had a pretty string odor, like maybe previously a smoking room covered up heavily with air freshener. No acknowledgement of Elite status (we always receive complimentary waters/snacks at every other BW we've stayed at. Breakfast was pretty good.

We were told they normally give vet discounts "but since they were almost full they would not". Very low class of them. While it may be common practice to adjust room prices depending upon availability and overall need in an area, honoring veterans with a small discount is either a do or don't thing, not just when you're under booked or it's convenient. They didn't serve their country only when it was convenient, or when the country was"almost full".

This is an old, worn, tired, ragged, shabby embarrassment to the BW brand. The carpet is stained. The drapes are tattered. The sofa is threadbare. The refrigerator looks like it was last used in a frat house. In a word: Disheveled. The Rodeway Inn would be an upgrade at half the cost. Very disappointed in Pocatello.

1. Filthy starting with premises, garbage littering entryway. 2. Staff unresponsive to requests. Asked for coffee pods and none available. 3. Visible dirt in hallways, the carpet in the hallways were filthy. 4. Facility in disrepair. First room door wouldn't open. Second room toilet paper holder fell off the wall. 5. We thought they forgot to put mattresses on the beds as the springs were sticking up and we had to use the lumpy pillows to sleep on. They were better than being poked with springs.

The hotel is getting very old, subpar for a Best Western. Was hot that weekend room was probably a 100, maid should have turned on the air knowing we would be checking in, but it was off and the cooler could not cool the room down, even turned down to 60 then it kept shutting off. I'd choose a different place next time. They haven't updated the place in years.

Bed's were more comfortable than most, room seemed clean and well appointed. Like a lot of hotels air conditioner and fridge seemed a little noisy but not really to bothersome. Pool and hot tub were nice and opened 24/7, we met friends for breakfast so we did not use the free breakfast.

I've always been satisfied with Best Western Hotels. Quick friendly check in. Clean quiet comfortable rooms. Good breakfast with multiple choices. Unfortunately prices are going up, but the Pocatello Best Western was similar to surrounding hotels and provided better quality.

Bedroom was exceptionally clean. Bed was very comfortable. Experienced a great night of sleep after a very long road trip. Breakfast area was very up to date and clean. Lots of options for breakfast..

Front desk was super rude about my age, and not friendly. We finally get to our rooms and it was very hot without the A/C running. I kept waking up every hour so around 1:30 or 2 I called the front desk to see if I can get a fan since we turned on the A/C when we arrived but it didn't change the temperature. I was told the front desk doesn't have A/C and that there is only one portable fan and it's for the front desk. On top of that, the bathroom was so gross my wife wouldn't shower in it. We were turned off so much we decided to go else where for breakfast.

Nice large modern room. Very clean and perfect for our small dogs. We had a ground floor corner room that was a bit noisy due to road traffic on the local streets but not bad. Would definitely stay again.

Clean room, great breakfast friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay! Beds were comfy and the room was a great size. We used the pullout couch as well and it was comfy for the kids. If we come back to Pocatello we would for sure stay here again.

My family and I decided to do a road trip this summer. Not counting on hot weather, going to Best Western and finding an indoor pool was what we needed. The beautiful pool provided us with a cool down we enjoyed. It also built on our family experience. We had a great time. I especially loved the convenience of having towels there and not having to ask for them. Thank you for everything.

Super friendly staff and great clean room. Perfect stop on my trip to Montana, right off the freeway and close to gas station. Front desk was so sweet and my bed was comfy. Check in was quick and easy. Would definitely stay again.

The breakfast buffet was wonderful with many options. The tea selections we great from Trescerro Premium Teas. A couple evening the staff cooked chocolate chip cookies for the guests. Very spacious rooms! Beautiful view of the mountains. Close (5-8 minutes) from Wal-Mart Freddy's CAL Ranch Big O Tires (pick up a nail in our tire in Vegas somewhere). Very pleasant and relaxing stay.

Air conditioner sounds like you are driving down the highway with the windows rolled down. Bed was not queen sized as advertised. Entry doors to rooms are hollow core, so noise travels through from the hallways at all hours of the day and night.

Moving from Salt Lake to Billings with both a puppy & UHAUL. Hotel was accommodating for both. Check-in super easy, front desk clerk welcoming & informative. Had a bone for the pup :). Pool & hot tub open 24/7 which was nice after a day of travel. Applebees next door & received a 10% discount as a hotel guest. Hot breakfast included potatoes, scrambled eggs & ham along with breakfast drinks, belgian waffles, fresh fruit. Separate coffee -tea station by the elevators & enjoyed the complimentary newspaper. Would definitely return again.

Employee at check in was super friendly and helpful. Room was clean and had what we needed for a good rest. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. Wouldn't have a problem staying there again.

I called this hotel first to get travel information, etc. They went out of their way to let me know how close their hotel was to the actual event I was attending. Even offered to print out a map for me to follow to make sure I didn't get lost. Then when I actually arrived, they were friendly, courteous, found me a room that fit us (we are 76 & 80). Then they offered to help us with our bags if needed, told us about the things offered at their hotel, and gave us the schedule for breakfast. I believe this is called above and beyond. You are lucky if you are going to this hotel!

we had a granddaughter graduate from college. So needed 5 rooms. 2 were with dogs. They were very accommodating. We had a family dinner at the table in the lobby, food ordered from the lounge, was really good food. My Daughter rented the breakfast room for the graduation party. It was perfect, they let her in there at 11:30 AM and had it til 10:00 PM. One of the best hotels I've stayed at!

This was a great location for us plus the staff were friendly, helpful & prompt with filling our few requests. Loved the breakfast buffet was available and not just a “to go” option. We look forward to staying at this property next time we visit Pocatello.

We have stayed at this location in the past. It's pet friendly and professionally staffed. When I called from the road, I spoke w/ Sam. She was so helpful and made it easy to make our reservation. The pet additional charge is just $10.00. Sawyer the bell hop / maintenance man was very helpful w/ our room refrigerator. Clean, comfortable beds & pillows.

Older but nicely maintained property. Well off the highway in a residential area. Very spacious layout. All our regular amenities were included. Huge dining area for the breakfast buffet. Lots of parking and overflow if required.

Everything was great from check-in to check-out! The breakfast was a typical serve yourself breakfast, with the option to make yourself a waffle. The only small complaint we have is that the heater was a little noisy.

upon signing up for their reward program- the wonderful girl at the reception desk told us that our rate would be 111.00 including taxes (I think) in the morning we got our invoice but did not check it until in the car about an hour later- it was at least 20.00 more upon notifying them- they said there was nothing that they could do and did not believe me- we will now register with choice hotels going forward and will no longer stay at any best western- we use hotels about 12 times a year but that will increase soon as well

The room was nice enough and the bed was great but the gap around the door allowed us to look out into the hall which was highly creepy. The hotel was quiet enough except for the lobby area was very loud due to the amount of people in the pool

This has to be the best hotel in pocatello. We have been staying here for past 3 years and have seen the constant improvements they are making to keep this hotel in perfect condition. The staff is always cordial and GM is always around and seen with the staff. Hotel has great breakfast and have found ways to keep the guests wanting to come back. This hotel is worth its value and price paid. Good job

Highly Recommend. Give these people a chance because they are the best of the best. The Breakfast is fantastic and very wonderful. The rooms are so clean and so comfortable. They will do anything to make your stay wonderful.

I always stay here heading south form Canada. As usual the staff was very friendly and explained everything. The room was great. The room was quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the shower which is required to get the day going was great.

Staff was horrible. They agreed to a late check out and ended up charging me another nights stay while they locked us out of our room. My daughter was in her competition warm ups and she's now sick. While being locked out my puppy was locked in the room. They wouldn't let us in. Finally a cleaning crew member knew my room, let us in the hotel and into our room so I could get my puppy and belongings. Once I left, my card was charged and it was not communicated. I would not recommend! I'm really disappointed.

This hotel is located close to restaurants and convenient to the entire area. The hotel is clean with a wonderful staff. It is fairly priced and has good sized rooms for longer stays. The internet is fast enough to do basic things like emails and streaming.

fan was crazy loud no water pressure very loud rooms could hear every persons room close to mine i would not stay at a best western again unless i wanted to be awake all night and don't open the shampoo soap or hand lotion it will stink up the whole room way to expensive for an excessively noisy building

The staff here are incredible. They have excellent customer service skills and make you feel welcome. The breakfast was hot and fresh. The rooms comfortable and clean. All access is down steps to get to the rooms but staff will help if needed.

Updated nicely for an older hotel. Love the 24 hour pool! We stayed here on business and the location in proximity to Mountain View event center can't be beat. We would definitely consider staying here again.

The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. Rooms were nice and clean. Bed was a little too firm for my liking. Only complaint would be, I am 5'1" and could not reach the shower head to adjust. So I was stuck with the placement and type of water stream. Breakfast was good. Loved that they offered cool your own waffles, and happy to see sausage links, Idaho potatoes, and scrambled eggs. As well as cereal, juices, yogurt, etc. Would definitely stay again!

Pet friendly room. We were in the West Wing. Room had laminate flooring so need to worry about ‘accidents' on flooring. Near an exit that was near a grassed pet area for walking pet. No need to take pet thru the main lobby.

The members of this Best Western are awesome! Great to talk with and provide excellent service. The gal working the front desk was working like crazy with the breakfast and managing phones. She deserves a raise!

Recent experience was very poor at BW pocatello. Towels need to be thrown away, Threadbare and very little. Shower has spots of mold. Heating unit is impossible to maintain a steady temperature. Plastic button on unit are broken off. Compared notes with other travelers. All experienced same conditions in room.

Best rate anywhere for very nice rooms and a quality experience. Rooms and beds are comfortable, breakfast is outstanding and all the people are great. I highly recommend this Best Western when you are in the Pocatello area.

Our family had a great stay. Good location, the room was the perfect size for us and 3 kids. Friendly front desk staff and breakfast staff. The pool was a bit cold for us, but the hot tub was wonderful. Breakfast was good with a lot of variety. Check out was quick and easy.

Arrived late after a long day at work and a 4hr. drive. Arriving with a family of 6, which includes 4 boys ages 18 down to 11, I was pleasantly surprised at how roomy our room was. There's always a fight for space but my boys had plenty space to lay their things. There 2 queen beds and a sofa bed and we brought a small air mattress and there was plenty of room to walk around. Bfast was simple but still decent and the staff was very friendly.

This hotel is conveniently located just off the Highway but it is very quiet. It has always been clean the many times we have stayed there with a great breakfast, and friendly staff. Shopping and activities are close by.

Stayed here passing through to Southern Utah, and on our return trip. Pro's: Pet friendly and only $10 charge per night (other hotels in the area charge $50). Free parking. Friendly staff. Cons: Very, very old and dated hotel (don't let the picture of the 'grand entrance' fool you) Very uncomfortable broken down beds. Exterior wall of room is brick and not insulated. Date of stay: 10/9/21 I arrived late at night and was assigned a room in the West Wing with a King bed. The heater was broken, so I decided to just go get my sleeping bag from my car. It was below freezing. Bed was not terrible, but nothing special. Good shower pressure. Date of stay: 10/14/21 I arrived at 8pm and was assigned a room in the South Wing with 2 queen beds. When we walked into the room it was 90 degrees. I turned off the heater and fortunately was able to open a window. It was about 32 degrees outside. After a few hours it cooled off. In the middle of the night the heater kicked on with a default code. I had to unplug the heater from the wall. Beds in the South Wing are worse than the West Wing. Rooms are older and in worse shape. Dirty and warn down. I notified the front desk about the broken heater, leaking shower, and unusable sink.

We arrived at 3:20 to check in and waited in line as service was slow. When our turn was up we were told our room won't be ready until 4:00 as that is checkin time. Come back after 4:00. No apology just curt to the point of being rude. While waiting for 4:00 I checked my email and it said check in time was 3:00 so I believe it had been changed sometime after we booked the room. Upon arrival at 4:30 we had to wait in line, again, but at least the room was ready. Outside of the checkin experience everything was fine, but it left a grey cloud haning over our stay there.

This hotel is so dated, like to the point where it feels like they found some abandoned hotel, put a Best Western sign in front of it, and thought they could make some money until they got caught. I truly can't think of a time I have spent a night in such a dark, creepy hotel. It's probably time to just tear it down and start over, but they could at least paint the exposed brick in the meantime. And why did they think putting dark carpeting and colors in a room with dark brick and small windows was a good idea? Otherwise, it was okay, but not great. The room was kind of clean, except for stains on the carpet, not-really-white towels, and . . . something . . . sprayed all over the drapes. The internet was great, but everything else was pretty average. The room is very small and basic. Sign in at the front desk was long and involved as the clerk couldn't figure out how to process a room and continuously complain about working a whole 8 hour day. Walls are thin and the bed is mediocre.

I traveled with my wife who uses a walker but can use a cane for short distances. The first room we got had a flight of stairs to get to it. When I went to the front desk and explained they did correct it but it fell far from our expectations. Yes on first floor. The sink was lower as if for wheelchair but the bathroom had NO safety rail in shower or near toilet. In order for her to join me for breakfast, we had to walk out of our building and around to the front and enter through the lobby. The lobby/breakfast area bathroom was no better for her. The door was narrow and she could only use it if she was using her cane. There were no handicap accessible stalls. There were handicap parking spaces outside but no ramps. She travels much more than me lately and has never come across a hotel like this. We made our reservations several months in advance. They should have notified us they do not have handicap accommodations!

We were struggling to find a hotel in the city we needed due to parents bringing college students. We had never stayed in a Best Western before and we were aprehensive. We pulled up and it looked like a nice place. We were so pleased with the service and the rooms. It was a great place to be. I will choose Best Western as one of my first choices because of this experience.

This hotel needs to renovate and update their “pet friendly” rooms. Carpet in hallways is old, stained, and dirty. White, cold, lighting in guest rooms. Cold, hard floors in guest rooms. Old, outdated faucet fixtures, broken ice machine. I stayed in the south building and was put on the lower level, felt like I was in a basement.

I really liked the location of this property. It has easy access to the freeway It is close to many activities. Such as a couple of nice restaurants and it would be a good place to stay when you go to see an ISU game.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much and would have like to stay longer. It was quite lovely with a grand entrance. We arrived earlier than the check in time in case a room would be available earlier than the 4 pm check-in. Heather at reception was great and while we couldn't get in early due to cleaning staff being reduced, she gave us a blank room card key so we could go to the nearby Applebee's and get a 10% discount as a hotel guest while we waited. She also gave us a recommendation to a museum nearby to fill the time, which we appreciated. (We ended up at the Natural History Museum which we enjoyed very much.) Her smile was so lovely and she was so warm and welcoming. She even served everyone breakfast the next morning due to pandemic restrictions, with the same warm smile and gracious manner to everyone. The hotel was well maintained, upscale rooms, clean with all amenities. We usually ask for a top floor room so we don't hear footsteps and noise from upper floors but had a ground floor room. We were pleasantly surprised how quiet it was with no noise from any rooms at all. The breakfast room was quite elegant and well appointed. Hot freshly cooked scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, waffles, cereals and other self-serve options were available until 10am. They even have a lounge open in the evenings for drinks but wasn't well promoted so we didn't know until we checked out. Your room key will get you that 10% discount at Applebee's which is a walkable distance away.

The hotel is fine for a night. Check in was easy. There's no elevators so start thinking up/down on stairs with heavy bags. We had our dog so stayed in the pet section of the hotel. Hall way rug is dirty! In our room the remote was breaking. Had to MacGyver it to work lol. The tub in the shower did not drain so everyone had to stand in dirty water. I'm still being reminded of that. The Continental breakfast was fine. Had enough to meet everyone's needs. However, coffee is way too weak though. There's a Starbucks 1 mike away. Pool area was fine. A lot of kiddos seemed to be having fun. The ice machines did not work. Well, I found 1 out of 4 working. That was a bit annoying looking for ice. Finally found one but it was upstairs at the second level so I had to go up/down stairs with a heavy igloo of ice. That was after luging bags from our room and back into car. If you're staying 1 night and have a pet it's fine but I wouldn't want to deal with these types of things 2 nights or more. The staff were nice and helpful. I didn't say anything about the issues because they already knew. In other words, the room attendant that cleaned our room before are arrival obviously knew about the tub and remote. She could of told upper management and probably did. 1 of the 4 ice machines not working had a broken sign on it. Not picking on management but these things should be fixed asap.

There were a number of disappointments during the one-night stay of my grown daughter and me on a road trip in July, 2021. It began with an exceedingly long wait to check in. The sole receptionist was on the phone having an extended conversation with a prospective guest about room types, ways to pay, etc and she ignored the people who gradually arrived to check in. Three of us waited about 15 minutes while she stayed on the phone. After eventually checking in we found out that our pet-friendly room was in an annex to the main motel that we were told to drive to (it was about 100 yards away). When we got there we were struck by how dirty the entry and hallway were, and then we found that the door to our room was open, as was the refrigerator, which proved to be filthy with spilled food. When we we called Guest Services we were told that “housekeeping sometimes leaves the rooms open” and that a “bellman” would come clean the fridge. Half an hour later no one had showed and we wanted to leave for dinner so we called again and told them that we would be leaving and our very sedate and friendly dog would be in the room. They said that was ok and the bellman was “on his way” but had lots of other chores to do on the way. When we got back several hours later, nothing had changed—fridge was still disgusting. We figured we would just get ice for our perishables but then we found that two of the three ice machines in the motel were out of order. We had to hike back to the main building and up two flights of stairs to find the third machine that was working. In the morning we tried the breakfast room and were again disappointed—I don't expect much from motel free breakfasts but this was below average and the coffee was poor enough that we brewed our own in the parking lot. With taxes, we paid almost $200 for our double Queen room, which felt like about $150 too much.

Guests camping outside room, drinking and talking loudly. They refused to be quiet even after 10 pm. Took staff over 45 minutes to respond after 1st report. Doors kept slamming all night long Room smelled of mildew. Not a place I would recommend

Overall we had a nice stay at the BW Pocatello. The front desk staff was efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. Our room was spacious, but was definitely showing wear and tear. The upholstery was stained, the lampshades torn or falling apart, etc. The common areas near the ice machine and stairs were filthy. Someone had spilled soda and chips and left a sticky mess on the floor that was not cleaned during our stay. The facility needs a deep cleaning and update. Our room, however, was clean aside from the stained upholstery and curtains. I would recommend this hotel to fellow travelers with the caveat that it isn't particularly "nice," but fairly priced and reasonably clean.

Fast check in and a friendly welcome. Clean and spacious room. Couldn't have done any better for the price! Would definitely stay again! Lounge was open with comfy chairs and cold beer! Breakfast was good to! Staff were very friendly.

My family often stays with Best Western because of how family friendly they are and positive experiences keep us coming back, and this hotel was no different. During check in, their system was acting up. Austin, who was checking us in, was kind and friendly even despite the system troubles. I stopped by the desk a few times that afternoon for a few items I had forgotten, and he was still just as kind and positive as he was in check in. He is an absolute asset to the company and his customer service was excellent. The pool was absolutely wonderful and my children spent many hours in there. The location is close to the highway but I never once heard the road. I would definitely return.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. My family of five enjoyed swimming in the 24hr pool and hot tub. Check in and out was phenomenal, because of the friendly staff. The room was clean and beautiful with a great selection of direct tv channels. Breakfast in the morning was perfect, fresh and delicious with a full compliment of foods all the way to 1000 close (not a given with many hotels). Even the breakfast and maintenance crew were friendly and seemed to care about making our stay more enjoyable. If I had to stay in Pocatello again, I would make sure to reserve here again and am recommending to friends and family.

Nice hotel in convenient area to restaurants and freeway entrance. Room was clean, roomy , comfortable and updated. Glad to have reservation as hotel was sold out due to local basketball tournaments. A little loud with the hallway traffic. Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend this hotel if staying in the Pocatello area.

Motel is creepy and needs updated. Second night they allowed me to switch rooms (as the stairs were creepy); however the room they gave me didn't have clean sheets or working lights. In addition, the ceiling in the bathtub was "open" to an extent.

It's been my experience lately that it's best to reserve your room online. If you know you're going somewhere book ahead. You never know what is going on in the town that may make a last minute reservation impossible. I wouldn't have gotten a room that night if I didn't book ahead.

We stayed here for a baseball tournament with several other teams, families, players. The baseball families were polite and respected usual hotel quiet time hours. We were on the ground floor and surrounded by non-tournament guests that allowed young children to scream, cry, bang on the walls, try to open our adjoining door at all hours of the night. The over middle aged guest above us decided to pace and bang around his room all night without consideration for other guests. Even a call to the lobby and my pounding on the ceiling didn't shut that guy up. It was only until I WENT UPSTAIRS AND POUNDED ON HIS DOOR did he get the point. Staff said that "they would send someone to investigate...", but they did nothing except watch me pound on the jerk's door. No sleep for three nights. And I was told they wouldn't work with us on the invoice "because I only called and complained one night"? Really? Should I even have to call and complain and then handle the disturbance myself ? PS--good luck finding an ice machine that works!!

If you're traveling for work as I often do, you'll appreciate this hotel as much as practically every BW hotel. They keep the rooms up well and keep them clean and quiet. The internet works very well and the breakfast experience is better than others. It's even a bargain.

Stayed at this best western for the first time for a simple overnight stay. Overall it was just a good stay. Rooms are a bit outdated it seemed and my room had some random stains around it so that wasn't the most pleasant. Other than that the room was fine and everything else seemed like it was in good order and was comfy. I hope hotels eventually move to smart tvs so that there are a better selection of things to watch. The cable was did not offer much. I usually love best western stays because they always offer continental breakfast and thankfully this one did despite some people still being afraid of the pandemic. It was a good breakfast overall. Nice not having to go find an early morning local place. I was a bit disappointed they didn't have a waffle maker. Always love that with my breakfast at these places. Overall it was a good stay and customer service was very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again if it remains one of the cheaper options.

The hotel staff was excellent. I got a room with a couch and two beds. The room was very spacious. There is a applebees next door that made it totally convenient. It's a short walk that helped out after being in a vehicle all day. I'd definitely plan my trips north to include this hotel.. thank you very much

The hotel staff was friendly. The rooms were a little dated and bathrooms need to be updated for better comfort of the guest. The shower and sink was really small and was not what I would have wanted. The beds were comfortable and clean.

We had 13 hrs of travel that day... we were greeted by friendly and mask wearing staff. The bedroom was perfect, the cleanliness was superb. And the bed exactly what my back needed. Breakfast the following morning was yummy,

Very clean. Welcoming staff. An actual ham and scrambled egg breakfast instead of that tired breakfast sandwich wrapped in plastic. Pool and jacuzzi 24 hours. Pet friendly room without carpet, yay! And a nice dedicated dog walk area with pet waste bags supplied. Applebee's right next door, plus 10% off when you show you're a hotel guest. Well lit parking area. Older facility, but very well maintained. Comfortable bed. Our new go-to in Idaho.

Hotel is incredibly loud! 3” gap under all doors, paper thin walls. Can hear every conversation and everyone's alarms. Staff is unfriendly at best. Half up dated half 80's dirt. Beds aren't horrible but don't count on sleeping at all.

I believe that people make the difference and allow a drama free experience. Thank you for hiring friendly, considerate staff. I enjoyed my stay and will be back soon. I enjoy my BW membership and prefer to stay at BW properties.

It was nice,clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.It was a bit tuff to see the B.W. sign as it was raining and dark. Just keep an eye out and you will see it. It was a very pleasant stay.. Will stay there again on the way thru

Only hotel we could find that had a hot, delicious breakfast, others gave you a sack with warm juice, an apple and stale pastry. Service was great, pool open 24 hours, quiet and clean rooms. Decor a little dated but nice. Beds comfortable.

We stayed here this past week on a quick overnight passing through. The hot breakfast was decent. The room on the bottom floor was pretty gross. The windows looked right out to the sidewalk where the parking lot is so you felt like you were in a dungeon. We went to hang something up on the closet rod and it immediately fell down. It was a makeshift metal bar that was not big enough. The bathtub was severely clogged. The hotel needs to do some renovation. Probably wouldn't stay here again if in the area.

I noticed when we drove up it needed some work on the outside. When we got in the carpet in the hallway was not very good. Out in the parking area there was a big garbage bag and look like some tree branches. The room itself was totally outdated, the shower does not drain, you stood in water up to your ankles. The beds were very comfortable

The hotel is nasty, the pool room is noisy even when empty (lights and vents are crazy loud), breakfast staff is incredibly rude, front desk refused to even check if a suite was available for me at check-in, TV was broken, the internet sucks, heater would not turn off no matter what I did, front desk wouldn't switch out TV or help with stuck on heater. Don't stay here, just don't!

Great hotel with pet privileges. Beautiful equipped room with easy access to outside area. Nice hot breakfast served by attendant (with lots of options) COVID measures seemed adequate. Masks mandatory in public spaces. Indoor pool. Easy access to highway, nearby restaurants

Our overall stay was great. Breakfast was offered but we did not take advantage of it because we are late sleepers. Price was good, room was nice, water pressure was good, bed was pretty good, fridge and microwave were great. The only complaint we had may be that the carpet was not too clean or may have just been old. We were overall pretty satisfied.

The room I stayed in had hard wood floors, that was much appreciated for a pet room. The room was clean and overall very nice as well. After staying in this room I never want to go stay anywhere else.

Close to Lava Hot Springs so better price and typically available. Stayed one night. The front desk and staff are very kind and good at what they do. Not the greatest looking outside but lodge-type inside is cute and nice. Got a room and it hadn't been vacuumed, someone's breakfast muffin was spilled on a couch so that's cool I guess. Bathrooms are incredibly small. Pool is warmed and spa hot tub is amazing. Adults 18+ only allowed in it though apparently only if you're lucky enough that parents are able to read and monitor their children lol The Applebee's around the corner is delicious

The hotel was older, however it had a great bead and was happy to get a hot breakfast instead of a sack breakfast. Great idea having someone serve up your meal buffet style. Will stay there again when traveling to Pocatello.

My daughter and I are here for a Basketball tournament. We heard children running up and down stairs from 2nd floor room to pool until 5:00am. I called desk 4 different times throughout the night. Never calmed down. Worst night sleep ever. The manager called me with no apology and nothing regarding the situation. She gave me 15$ off my bill. Not the service I would expect.

Very polite and helpful staff. Unfortunately walls were very thin and we heard every word of every conversation next door. So that was kind of a bummer. Everyone working there was very Covid aware and helpful.

The main section of the hotel appeared to be kept very clean. The South Wing was very filthy and lacked the Best Western Quality I'm accustomed to. The staff was very kind and helpful with good customer service. The location of the hotel is very scenic and nice.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful! Good centralized location to access restaurants and conveniently located next to freeway. I will definitely stay here again for future trips.

We went off the interstate on our usual route to northern Oregon and spent time on HWY 30. Got on I-15 and then stopped. The motel was good. We hit the historic downtown and a food truck event was going on so we dined there.

This is a kind of sprawling motel complex set on a rise on a local loop road off the freeway. In order to get to the front portico, you'll need to drive up the ramp access. You might have to drive again after check-in to be closer to your room. My room was comfortable but it was on the first floor facing the parking. I didn't like that. But many rooms would be different from mine. There was a fridge and microwave which came in handy. The motel seems to profit from group meetings; I noticed several meeting rooms on the property. There is also a lounge but it was closed because I stayed over only one night on a Sunday. The breakfast was open but you need to be served. So you might have to queue up while others ahead of you decide on their order. There was no menu and you even have to order the butter, jelly, salt, pepper and items like that. A couple of restaurants are nearby and fast food places can be found down on Pocatello Creek. It's probably a 2 1/2-3 hour drive to West Yellowstone from here. And just over 2 hours to Jackson Hole via Teton Pass Road.

We were told we got Best Western Points on this , there was a sign out front Best Western Pocatello Inn , but .. Shower diverter in the tub didn't work , was jammed tight in the down position - Room 156 - The room was fine , decently priced , except for the inability to take a shower - Then we went to check out and see what was for breakfast - Guy acted like he'd never had anyone check out before ... The breakfast room still had their closed sign up when we left at 6:06 (By their clock) no breakfast in Pocatello .. We won't be staying there again

My father-in-law lives here, but my wife and I like to snag a hotel room so that we have somewhere to relax between visiting. We've chosen this hotel because of the excellent service given at our first visit. Now it's become somewhat of a date-night when we go to visit her parents. We come back here with munchies from the grocery store, watch true crime shows, play on the wifi and take a nice, long hot shower. Good time! Refreshing.

Old, dark, tired looking hotel. Noisy with lots of kids slamming doors, socializing in the hallways. Bathroom sink is so low it's hard to use if you're tall. We had a terrible night sleep. Breakfast was crowded with some people not wearing masks or observing social distance so we left and ate elsewhere. Maybe they should return to bag breakfasts. We would not recommend and would not return.

We had an unscheduled stop at this hotel on our way to Canada. The hotel seemed very clean, modern and well taken care of. They seemed a little short staffed in housekeeping but made up for it by providing clean and fresh smelling rooms. They offered sanitizer and masks due to covid. Cute little lounge had what we needed after stressfull driving. Recommend to fellow travelers.

We spent one night here with our two dogs. The Inn was very accommodating when the A.C. in our room quit, we shifted quickly to a room across the hall, with easy access to a grass pet area just outside. The bed was great, the room was more sound proffer than most we have experienced. The bar and food was great. I would recommend this place.

We had a tough night during our stay. We really needed an extra blanket and couldn't get one then after having a tough night of sleep I requested a late check out to get some sleep and was told no . Also in order to receive the "free breakast" you must be willing to wait an hour in line.

As a Diamond member with Best Western I expect descent treatment, not special treatment. This one treated me worse than any Motel 6. I arrived 20 minutes early and was told to come back at 3. I sat in the waiting area and about 45 minutes later got a room key. I went back to see about late check out and the manager said no. Going into my wing the door was broke and would not lock (safety concern). The room seemed pretty good other than drink glass rings on the end table and the other one was sticky. I made due but the walls were so thin I could hear every door shut in the hall and every time someone got ice which was outside my door. Also there was a German shepherd barking 2 or 3 rooms down. I could also hear ever footstep in the room over mine. I finally got to sleep until I was awakened by two people screaming at each other at 3am. I notice the a/c wasn't working even though it was still on. I like it cool and it must have been at least 75. All that would work is the fan. I couldn't get back to sleep so I went down to get coffee about 7am and there were no cups or lids. Upon checking out I expressed my problems to the lady at the desk who listened but didn't seem to care. I stayed the next night at SureStay in Twin Falls and it was so much better for half the price. Good luck if you decide to stay hear. It looks nice but looks are deceiving.

Arrived about 9:30 PM. Check in was quick and painless. I had been on the road since 6:00 AM and just wanted to rest and sleep. After partially unpacking, I went to change temperature on A/C. On the floor near the A/C was a pair of underware apparently from the previous guest. I should have packed up and left but was very tired and just wanted to sleep. The sheets appeared clean so I decided to stay the night. I thought I might watch the news, but found there was no remote control. I went to sleep. Upon waking the next morning I discovered that the room was filthy. None of the furnature or bathroom counter surfaces had been cleaned. Drink glass rings on the night stands, water and other marks on the bathroom counter, dirty footprints on the bathroom floor, water spots on the mirror, etc. Due to the location of the room, it was noisy from the constant opening and closing of the door to the outside from the main hallway. Horrable, horrable hotel experience. You might think twice before staying in this one.

We didn't have a reservation but had no issues getting a room. Check in/out was quick and hassle free. Room was clean and quiet. Spent time in the lounge which was clean and the bartender was friendly and kept are drinks full all evening.

i couldn't of been happier!! The made our stay memorable. We had traveled for 8 days in different hotels. This was by far the best.They had the pool open and laundry room was a great bonus, Its hard being on the road for a long time without everything from home. Best Western made us feel right at home.

Room and property clean. Travel during these times of stay in place orders etc. were definitely accommodated. Reasonable prices considering the available options within the immediate area. Would recommend any day.

The girl at front desk was awesome. The room, on the other hand was not. Dirty glass on the floor, empty tissue box, empty, used lotion bottle in the room. I understand the difficulty during this time, but the room could have been cleaned much better and we could have been made aware of the no lotion or tissue. There was about one third of a roll of toilet paper.

Stopped on the way home to Canada during the covid-19 pandemic. Most everything was closed in the hotel, but they provided coffee and to go bags for breakfast. Rooms were very nice and very comfortable beds, heard a bit of highway noise as it's close to the interstate. Best part of the stay was the front desk clerk Austin, there was a line up of Canadians patiently waiting to Check-in, he was efficient, pleasant and did his job quickly with a smile on his face. He was certainly a great representative for Best Western. We will return next year.

After a log day on the road I was ready to get settled. A young guy was at the desk and handled the check-in like an old pro. My room was even upgraded from my online booking. The room was good, shower was great. Will stay again sometime.

I called ahead to let them know that I would be arriving after midnight, which has been a problem at other Best Westerns. When I got there they were expecting me and checked me in quickly. In the morning I saw a sign welcoming Best Western Rewards members with our names, so that was nice.

Great value, easy highway access, pleasant staff, comfortable room. My only issue was the HVAC system. The hotel was built in the 1980's, so it has that "lodge" feel with woods, and 80's style. The front desk staff upon check in were nice, but not over the top. The room was clean, and felt a little dated, but nothing to get upset about. The shower had good water pressure. Only complaint was the bathtub was really slick and I almost went down. Other than that. It was a good bang for the buck hotel for the Idaho Falls, and about 30 minutes south of Rexburg.

I like the central location and the hospitality of this place. This was my very first time to stay at a Best Western Hotel. I am glad I have chosen to stay there. I just can't wait to go back! I can just walk right across the street to great restaurants or I can go shopping to awesome stores if I need to.

Easy on & off the interstate. Large rooms, nice breakfast area, very friendly staff. The towels need some upgrading as they are like sandpaper and the door let in a lot of hallway light during the night. Appreciate the almond milk provided at the breakfast.

This hotel is clean and comfortable. The beds are nice and the staff are friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and easy access. The rate was affordable. Pool was a little cold, but acceptable. I recommend this hotel.

Large facility with indoor pool and spa. Great when there is snow outside, Lots of rooms, and great staff.. Check in and checking quick and very friendly. plenty of parking. Breakfast was hot . Very nice and large area for breakfast.

We like to stay at BW Pocatello for 2 big reasons. They accept pets without charging a ton and they have 2 huge parking lots to accommodate our RV/trailer. We don't always get that great a room unfortunately. Could be a little cleaner by my standards. Breakfast is great though.

Stayed this last weekend. Guess there was a sporting event going on. The line to check in was LONG and slow. Just one person working the front desk with all these reservations just blows my mind. The front desk worker was really nice and pleasant. Once I got my room it was clean and a good size. Kind of weird there was only soap and no shampoo. The towels are really old and need to be changed out. But the bad part was when the teams came back. As mentioned in other reviews the walls are paper thin. It was extremely loud till around midnight which is understandable with all the young kids excited about road trip sports but it was LOUD.

We travel a lot and stay in various hotels. This was our first Best Western and honestly, it was very clean and the staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast was another top notch area we encountered. Keep it up!!

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever encountered. When booking our room I ended up dealing with a 3rd party booking company & was charged an extra $30 tax reclamation fee which was really a booking fee. No cancellation allowed. The room was old, size of a closet. Noisy, just awful

We were travelling through Pocatello and randomly stopped there for the night at the Best Western. Although this is not a new hotel, it was so well constructed and so well operated that it is in exceptional condition and has very nice facilities that are open 24 hours a day. When you are travelling with five kids, and can go down to the pool at 11:30 PM after driving for 10 hours it really makes the day.

This hotel was clean, check in easy, loved the location and that there was restaurants near by as well as food available at the hotel in the bar. Hotel was close to main highway yet quite enough for sleeping.

Hotel is very nice. Lounge is great. Pool area looks wonderful. Rooms were very quiet . If you are looking for a escape this the hotel for you. Lots of options for Dinner and Drink. Apple bee is within walking distance.

The TV remote wouldn't work. It was around 9:30 at night and my wife was asleep. We had a long day but I wanted to watch TV, so I had to get dressed and take the remote to the front desk, which was a short walk outside in the blowing snow. The clerk said he needed to send someone to the room to fix it, but I said no because my wife was asleep. So he put in new batteries and told me exactly what to do to fix it. When I got back to the room, I did exactly what he said and it froze the TV remote or TV to where absolutely nothing worked.....it wouldn't even shut off the TV...So I called the front desk for help and the guy would not help me over the phone, he insisted that someone had to go to the room....so I had no TV for the remainder of the evening and the entire morning until we left. We couldn't watch the snow report or nothing at all and they didn't send anyone over the next morning to fix it and help us in the morning......What a horrible hotel Craig

The Rom was not properly cleaned, had a stale odor, the shower head had little water pressure and leaked all over the floor. The Walls were paper thin and the room above ours sounded like elephants were banging around all night. The pool was inaccessible from our wing of the hotel which required walking outside in the cold. The beds were uncomfortable and overall it was an awful experience.

Uncomfortable beds. A bit run down. The absolutely worst thing is the shower. Water shoots out of the side of the spray head, running all over the floor, no matter which way it is adjusted. Unfortunately flooding the bathroom floor. This is by far the worst lodging my family has ever experienced. Do not stay here. We are here because of a wedding. Huge mistake.

The Room was clean and the Bed was comfortable. The breakfast area was a bit small but had many options for food. The lounge bartender was extremely rude and was out of many popular beverages that we requested

We've been traveling I15 for 20 plus years back and for annually stay over-night on our 2 day journey. We had our trip interupted by weather and chose to stay in Pocatello Idaho. We chose the BW on Bench Road and found a Gem of a hotel. I highly recommend it, Staff,Room, Facilities and Breakfast were terrific, We'll have a hard time passing it up in the future.

The stay was fine, except I left behind my massage device, and it was not there when my sister who was still staying there went to get it for me. I called, but they never called back. They said they would look. The only conclusion is that one of their staff stole it.

Room was never cleaned properly. Bathroom was not cleaned all 5 days or vacuumed. Very disappointed .The rooms are very out dated. Need to update the property. Will probably not stay at this Best Western again :(

Love this place whenever I'm in town for work. The staff is great, doesn't matter what it is they will go the extra mile to make sure your stay is pleasant. This is from the front desk, lounge & housekeeping, there all a great team. I have no complaints, if I had to rate 1-10, I would give them all a 20.

Love this hotel and stay here each time we visit our ISU student. The beds are comfy, the pool and workout area are functional and the breakfast is good. The employees here are always friendly and helpful.

The hotel is older but they have done a nice job with updates. The room was quiet, comfortable and clean. We liked that we were able to park close to the entry to our room. The clerk recognized our status and offered the room upgrade or snack bag without us having to ask.

Hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. Sits on top of a hill with a nice view of the valley. Staff was friendly and I would recommend this hotel. We stopped in for a one night stay on the way to Yellowstone and they were very accommodating.

Best Western made us feel right at Home as if we were part of their Family. We never had to Worry about asking for something.We had a great time. the Breakfasts were always Hot & Fresh.Loved that they had Biscuits & Gravy.Waffles all the Time.

Low price great serviice, great breakfast, clean quiet rooms. Wonderful breakfast with great host, We visit our daughter at Idaho State, will always stay here. Easy location to get to. Close to ISU. Pool is open all night and the hot tub is great. The times we've stayed here it is quiet and well ran. Very nice hotel, room was very clean, super happy with the location. This hotel had a resturant but we had already ate so didn't go there but it was a nice option. We traveled with two dogs and the dog area was nice and large with poop bags available. It was a large hotel and you could get to rooms both inside and outside. Also tons of parking.

As always, the ONLY place to stay when you visit the Pocatello area is the Best Western. Amazing beds, outstanding breakfast, great decor and exceptional service--not to mention the best rates we have found. We will never stay anywhere else in Pocatello!

Great room, convenient to the area we needed. Nice quiet area away from traffic but close to major routes and freeway. Will use this hotel again when visiting family in Pocatello. And if you like to golf you are only minutes away from Highland Golf Course.

Dated facility needs a good scrubbing! Dust and grime on all surfaces in corridors and in room. Bathroom shower enclosure should be replaced due to mold. The fragrance used to cover up carpet odor is overwhelming!

Friendly staff, decent breakfast, clean but this hotel is old and it shows. Room was dimly lit. Bathroom needs updated. Toilet acted as if it wouldn't flush or may flood with every use. Bathroom ceiling was in need of repair, shower is dingy plastic. Hotels across the street are much better for the same price.

Key cards did not function. No grab bars in shower-tub. Curtain pole is too high to reach and hold onto. Cloudy pool water. Walls thin enough to hear neighbors' arguments. Great staff! Lots of parking.

You cant beat the quality of service from the front desk to the breakfast area. Friendly service with a smile. The amenities are top line from the pool to the workout area. The bar is a great get away with a friendly staff as well

This hotel was extremely comfortable. the room was very clean. the front desk staff were awesome. The pool was great and was open 24 hours! we got in late, so it was really nice to have a quick swim. I would definitely stay here again.

We stay at the BW in Pocatello each time we come down from Canada and also when we return back to Canada, from Arizona. This trip had to be quickly arranged an I contacted the GM, Heather, who understood our situation and quickly and efficiently made our stay possible. When we arrived, we were greeted by the front counter staff and quickly made our way to our room. The room was for handicapped individuals, as I had an above knee amputation a few years ago. What impressed my wife and I was the fact that the staff obviously recognized that this room needed a layout makeover and did so. It was a lot easier to move about and made our stay a more relaxing event. Again, it was very quiet in our area, the S wing. We slept without interruption and comfortably. We went to the free hot breakfast and it was outstanding!! Excellent food and a very good staff member looking after it! It is a clean hotel, with friendly staff who will go out of their way to make your staff a most enjoyable one!

First and last time at a Best Western. There were many gnats/fruit flies in my room. Fan unit on AC did not work. Bathroom was dark, dingy, had signs of water damage, and misaligned ceiling tiles. There was no shampoo/soap but multiple bottles of conditioner? Key card didn't work on one of the outside doors. Carpet did not appear vacuumed. Checked under fitted sheet for bugs and discovered lots of dirt/hair. Rock hard beds, no USB chargers in room. Paper thin walls.... I recommend paying a tiny amount extra for the Marriott in town, or dropping down to the Motel 6...

Growing up on the east coast, most BWs I stayed in weren't that great, so I didn't hold them with a high opinion. But, when I started traveling out west for work in my 20s, all the BWs I stayed in were pretty damn nice. So, years later when I had to travel to Pocatello, I suggested the BW to my coworkers based on prior experiences out west. Boy was I let down as this is what I would call an east coast BW. Don't get me wrong, the stay wasn't terrible or anything, just not that great. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. Grounds were meh. ‘Business center' was a joke. Room was average at best - AC kept turning off in the middle of the night and the toilet clogged. Positives: Close to highway, staff was nice, cookies at night.

Stop over on trip to Yellowstone National Park. The location is beautiful, the building was really nice, and the custom service was on point. We enjoy having a few drinks at the lounge. Overall, we had an excellent experience and recommend this BW.

We checked in for just a night, and I requested a ground floor because of my hubby's heart condition caring bags upstairs. The receptionist offered to help with our bags, but asked another employee to assist in the check in and they were able to assign us a room on the ground floor.The room was clean but the only complaint was that you can hear the people above you walking.

The rooms here are clean, and both the front desk staff and the housekeeping crew are courteous and helpful. However, at least in some rooms, the design of the external wall (a brick wall interior) means that a good sound seal is not maintained between the adjoining rooms, meaning that that (even more than usual) you can hear EVERY SOUND from those rooms. It should also be noted that, if you have a physical disability, traversing the interior of the hotel often requires stairs. If that is an issue, it would pro be wise to speak to the hotel in advance and arrange for an accessible room.

Stayed a week for work. There is no elevator at this hotel so I stayed on the ground floor with children running around the room upstairs at 1 am. This made my stay less than enjoyable. The room was large and clean, the bed was comfortable, the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was standard hotel breakfast but well presented.

I was able to reserve a pet friendly room at this hotel just a week ahead, a definite bonus! Also, the pet fee was only $10. The staff were all super friendly and competent which helps set a great tone. Cookies and dog biscuits were available at check in. Our room was very convenient- an end room on the first floor so it was easy to take our dog outside. However, the dog walking area was on the opposite side of the hotel so it might have been inconvenient in bad weather. Our room had a solid surface (wood-like) floor, maybe due to it being a pet friendly room. I prefer that because I know it can be well cleaned. Our room had no noticeable odor and our dog did not sniff around at anything in the room, so I believe it was well cleaned. It was a queen suite with a sofa bed which worked well for our needs, but the tv was situated in a way that it couldn't be viewed from both the bed and the sofa. The bed and pillows were pretty comfortable and I slept well. There were two closets, helpful for stashing luggage. The ceiling seemed a bit thin, and we could hear some noise from guests above us, but not terrible. Also the bathroom area was a bit cramped and I hit my elbow on the toilet paper holder. Helpfully, the vanity was outside the bathroom, but it was also a bit small for several people's toiletries. Bath towels were rather thin, but clean and fresh smelling. The shower head was very high which is terrific for us tall people!! My daughter loved the pool, though she's not a great swimmer and the shallow end was limited. The pool setting was attractive, there was a patio that opened to the outside, and pool towels were plentiful. Breakfast was great with a variety of options, including small or large diy waffles, scrambled eggs, ham, potatoes, cheese and salsa toppings, fruit, muffins, bagels, juice, milk, coffee and more with a large seating area. This appears to be an older hotel, especially evident from the hall carpet and ceiling, and the state of the doors in our room, but it is tastefully furnished and comfortable. All in all a good stay!

This is a nice hotel but getting around in it without having to climb stairs is a problem. Staff are all helpful, courteous and professional. We have stayed here many times and this was the first time that the lounge was open... The food was good, as was the service. The menu is limited but the servings are large and tasty. Our room was a suite and was wonderful and the décor in the whole facility is a cut above the usual. Problems: 1. No ice machine on our floor. 2. We have learned to avoid the "Executive" wing because the heavy door slamming will rattle the walls all night long.

Nice, clean hotel in a pretty setting. We have stayed here several times. We always stop for the night on our way to montana for vacation. It's always a good experience. Staff is friendly & is always there if we need something.

The Best Western Pocatello Inn always provides a great stay at a fair price. The staff is friendly, the location off I-15 is convenient, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I love staying here for work!

We were unable to take a shower, because the bathroom light/ power outlet was located in the shower wall. When we told staff about this, they said that it passed inspection!!!!! I'd sure love to talk to the inspector! Also, there was an incident, observed by my adult daughter & 7 year old grandson, with an inebriated customer being escorted out of their bar.

Very clean. Pets are welcome and I had a dog. Nice size parking area because we were pulling a trailer. Bed was good. Kirby checked us in very attentive and helpful. We asked for a breakfast place and gave us a good reference and directions. I would recommend here.

This is a beautiful Best Western property. The artwork is great, the rooms are clean, the property is well-managed. There is a great pool and hottub. Breakfast here is very good--there is a lot of thought and care in both the making and the presenting. Almost everyone who stays here eats here--that should say something! Good eggs, bacon, other options...super. This is also a very pet-friendly hotel. They have a wing of rooms with lovely carpet-free floors that open on a grass area. It's not fenced, but it is very convenient and there is a waste station. It is only $10 extra/night.

Very friendly pleasant hotel. Only major problem did not mention no elevator. Sign stated porter service but when guests complained about it no porter service offered by chubby front desk clerk. Same chubby guy ignored people at front desk looking for assistance Tall slim front desk gentleman was very friendly and helpful Comfortable room. Great breakfasts. Great location. 24 hr pool and hot tub. Nice!

I typically only say in Best Westerns because I am a rewards member. This location appeared decent enough on the outside, and was. The lobby was very presentable, and breakfast was amazing. Only one staff member (Mercedes) really went out of her way to be professional and friendly, she was wonderful. That's where the good stops and bad begins. First room had cleanliness issues and horrible water pressure. Front desk did not have maintenance look at it until the a day and a half later after being brought to their attention. Front Desk actually moved me to a different room after I brought it up a second time. The room lightening was dark, and the room itself presented a dirty look. I had very low water pressure in my first room. The hotel was noisy. The pool area was overcrowded and not monitored at all by staff, and kids were unruly. It was not enjoyable. The hotel itself is ADA compliant, but is not ADA convenient. Those that are handicapped have to go out of their way to get to rooms and the lobby. There is no elevator in the hotel, and toilets are low-flow and also low to the ground. The showers are in bathtubs, and have old shower fixtures, so adjusting them is difficult. The bathrooms themselves are very small. The beds were worn, and the bedding only had a comforter and sheet on the bed, no blanket in between. This felt "germy" to me. If I had to stay in Pocatello again, I would consider a different hotel.

Our stay was wonderful! They let us check in early after a long 10 hour drive. Our room was cleaned beautifully everyday and they were done cleaning our room by noon every day which was important to us. The breakfast was hot , and the decor was modern yet comfortable. I usually have to pack extra blankets but this BW actually had great thick comforters. The location is right off of the highway and within 2 miles of restaurants, shops, and gas stations. I wish they would allow children in the hot tub with parental supervision. You have to be 18 to go into the hot tub and they enforce this rule pretty strictly. All in all our room was huge, breakfast was great, housekeeping was superb, and the front desk staff was in point. We plan on staying every time we are in Pocatello!

The hotel was ok considering the age. Breakfast was fine. The only issue was there was not an elevator! That seemed very odd to me. We managed, but what about elderly and disabled people? I would hope they research this first before booking!

I travel a lot for work, school, and leisure and have never had such a bad hotel experience. There was an issue with my reservation due to technology and not only were they unwilling to modify it, but the room they sold me was awful. It smelled like someone had Mexican food the night before and unleashed their bowels on that poor room. The lights didn't work and there were hotel staff members constantly standing directly outside of my room smoking and talking loudly. I have stayed at so many BW, but they lost me as a customer after this disaster.

I travel a lot for my work and Best Western Pocatello is always the highlight of our travel. The people, the service, the breakfast can't be beat. and to top it off, they have the best rates anywhere. Every time I stay it seems to get better! they are not complacent. The rooms have always been well-appointed and comfortable. the only issue I have ever had is that the sinks are low--but I'm tall. That is the only thing I can think of that isn't perfect!

The staff that I came in contact with was very nice and helpful. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable and the shower worked well also. The breakfast was good . I love that the pool is open 24 hours but I didn't get to take advantage of that while I was there. No complaints from me

From the moment we walked into the building, out of the rain we were checked in quickly and found our rooms easily. We parked our car close to our room, and had a wonderful dinner, at the Aura Lounge. The drinks were good and the food was even better. Pool is open all night and our kids enjoyed that a lot. The beds were comfy, slept well and my only complaint would be that check out (like most places) is 11:00 am. Wanted to stay a bit longer. All in all it was a wonderful one night stay. Felt very relaxed and stress free.

We visit the area several times per year and we alwasy stay at the Best Western in Pocatello. The staff id very friendly, the rooms and interrior is updated and celan. The outside area of the hotel is kept clean and the ladscaping is clean and green :)

We stayed the one night to break a long journey so very convenient for the I15. We had a king bedded room which was of a good size and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the linen clean. Large bathroom with shower over bath, plenty of hot water, towels a bit thin but clean. Unfortunately the sound proofing isn't brilliant as we could hear the neighbours talking and their tv. There is a good size heated pool and a good fitness room. The area is mainly hotels with a few restaurants, we didn't use the bar/restaurant in the hotel so cannot comment. Breakfast is included - cereals, bacon, scrambled egg, toast etc which is adequate. The staff are friendly and check in was efficient. Would definitely stay again.

However the included breakfast is dreadful, but most likely not much worse than anything in the same category. We could easily here heating, conversations from the neighbouring rooms. The bed was good.

These are just my personal thoughts. The room felt cramped. The layout was strange, especially the door to the bathroom which blocked the sink when the door was open or you had to close the bathroom to get to the sink. The tub and toilet felt cramped. The shower head didn't adjust down so it sprayed at the back of the tub and right in my face. The comforter on the bed was ripped and pillow cases had stains. The refrigerator seemed to have all the internal knobs broken off so there were holes in the refrigerator and it was stuck on high so everything I put in it froze. Overall, the location is fine and everyone was very nice. Not a bad deal for the price, as long as you manage expectations.

Our youth basketball team was required to stay at this hotel. First off, they didn't give us the quoted rate. Second, the hotel did not feel clean (hair in sink and shower, smelled funny in the room). It is an old hotel and you can hear EVERYTHING. Doors slamming at the end of the hall, people above and below, etc.. The beds are really uncomfortable, and the roll away for an extra kid was a joke (mattress was thin, and the springs sagged to almost the floor) Overall, not a great experience and I wouldn't stay here again.

We were on our way home to Canada, and Pocatello was where we stopped after a long day of driving. Our reservation was accurate, and being seniors we were provided a discount over our expected room rate.Check-in was fast and the desk clerk was very friendly and helpful in suggesting where to have supper. Our room was comfortable, but the bathroom sink and makeup are was about the smallest we have ever encountered. However, it detracted little from an otherwise very pleasant stay.Breakfast is about as good as it gets having been to many complimentary hotel breakfasts.

We stayed here to let our kids swim while on spring break. When we checked in the front desk was unable to find my reservation, and then she was able to find it after I had brought in my reservation number. I did not get the room I booked. Another incident was my husband was in the hot tub with the children, yes there is a sign that says children under 18 are not allowed. My husband did see the sign and still let our children get in because they've sat in plenty before and he was there to watch them. They were not playing, splashing or causing a disturbance, but the front desk employee came in and told my husband that they needed to get out. My husband asked why since they were not being out of control and she replied can't you read? There could have been another way of handling this issue, then being rude and unfriendly. I know my husband was rude but you treat others the way they treat you. All in all the stay was horrible and we will not be booking another room with them.

Have stayed here before on our snow bird trips, rooms are clean , quite, with good staff,the lounge has top shelve selection with good finger food, other good restaurants walking distance away. Located just off the I 15.

Our stay at the Best Western was okay. We did in fact encounter a couple problems. One of the front desk people was not very friendly, and also failed to relay the message to housekeeping to not disturb has until 11:30 a.m. since we had a long drive ahead of us. Housekeeping ended up walking into war room at about 8:30 that morning while my husband and kids were still in bed. Some of the pros were that the room was very good size and that they had a pool and fitness room. The hotel price overall was fairly reasonable.

I really like the way this hotel was laid put. It was convenient, quiet and friendly. It really made our weekend, to have a stress free environment to sleep and rest at the end of a very busy day.....

Wonderful stay at this hotel! Staff was wonderful! Wonderful sleep in their comfy bed! Glad we had a king! Great breakfast! Tons of selection! Very comfy breakfast nook! Loved the waffles! We didn't use the pool area, but it's the best one I've seen for an indoor pool/hot tub! We're coming back to this hotel agaiñ! Thanks Pocatello Best Western!

This Hotel was easy to find with plenty of parking. The Staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. We especially liked that the pool was open 24 hours so we didn't have to worry about making it to the hot tub before they closed. The beds were comfy as were the pillows. There were plenty of restaurants near the hotel as well. The breakfast in the morning featured hot items as well as fruit and cereal. We liked our stay enough that we have booked it again for another event that is close to this area.

This property is a great pet-friendly hotel. The rooms are immaculate and the staff are very welcoming to your pets. Check-in was quick, directions to our room were good and the exterior doors of the hotel buildings were key locked to ensure our safety. It's a great hotel!

We visited for a basketball tournament. The hotel is conveniently located next to the event center. There is also an Applebees next to the hotel. Nice clean hotel. It is dated as it was built in 1975. It has been renovated, but still a bit worn. The layout of the hotel is a bit awkward with stairs everywhere it seems like. Overall, though we had a nice stay. We were originally booked in a pet-friendly room but upgraded to a family suite which was clean and had plenty of room to spread out. The room had a small fridge, microwave, coffee-maker, and large flat screen TV. Also a pull-out couch and a small loveseat. The Wi-Fi is good, no issues there. The free breakfast was nice and had plenty to offer. They had waffles, eggs, bacon, pastries, oatmeal, cereal, fruit, and yogurt. And of course juice and fresh coffee. The workout room is good with newer equipment to get a little workout. A couple of treadmills and an elliptical for a good cardio workout. There are a couple of convenience stores down the street, however, if you want groceries, you will have to drive into town, about a 5 to 6-minute drive you will find a Fred Meyer and Winco. The Fred Meyer has a gas station with prices which were a bit better than the chain stations closer to the hotel. There are also more restaurants to choose from. Nice stay, but not sure we would stay here in the future with newer hotels in the area.

My husband and I and our 3 little dogs spent the night on our way south. This is one of the best overnight places we have stayed with our dogs. The room was very nice and the king bed was comfortable. We were located on the ground floor close to a doornear their clean dog yard area. Their free breakfast was good, with choice of hot and cold items. I highly recommend this hotel!

Loved Pocatello! The Inn here was so beautiful and accommodations were terrific. We had great service checking in and breakfast was really enjoyable. Great service all round. Would definitely stay here again anytime.

Let's start with the good parts, the room was clean, fitness area had enough equipment to get a decent workout and breakfast had the standard options. That being said... STAIRS STAIRS STAIRS, we had no problem with it as we are young, active people, but some might find it difficult. The day of our check in we were asked if we would be willing to switch to a different room, we had no issue, if only we knew we would be stuck in the back building, room had a strange smell, dogs were barking in adjacent room and overall the hotel needs some updates, we most likely wont stay here again.

Bedding, mattress pad were loose and poor fitting. Had to stand in bathtub to close bathroom door as door had 1 inch to spare or would touch toilet. Stairs in every hallway so have to hand carry luggage up stairs from car to room. Breakfast items very sparse compared to other hotels. Just a poorly designed building to be used as a hotel. Dirt on bathroom floor behind bathroom door showing poor cleanliness. Lint on rug. Disappointing. Not to recommend this hotel to anyone handicapped.

My wife and I along with our puppies have stayed at this particular hotel twice a year for the past 9 years. This was by far our most pleasant experience at this hotel. Staff were friendly, greeted us upon arrival and check in was quick, no issues. Lobby was clean. Questions were asked and answered immediately. Our room was one which we've used a number of times. Although not brand new, the furniture was clean and everything worked! As I am handicapped, I had recommended an article to be included in this room for other handicapped individuals such as myself and I was pleasantly surprised to see that this was followed up and available! I realize that sometimes hotels can be a bit noisy, but it was quiet! Very quiet! We knew that there were other guests on our side of the hotel, but we only heard them sort of shuffling past the door in the hallway. We asked for a specific wake up call and it was done. We had breakfast in the breakfast room and found it to be completely re-done with new and improved furniture, comfortable and easy to get in and out of. Being an above knee amputee, I had no issues in standing or sitting or having my chair slide away! The meal itself was awesome!! Hot foods along with cold items were readily available! The young woman looking after this was friendly and very accommodating (when my wife asked if she could fill up her coffee thermos, there was no problem and the young woman actually filled it for my wife!). The food was constantly checked to make sure there was enough for all, including those coming in. Check out was quick and easy! In all, it was by far our best stay and check out! We look forward to returning in the late spring when we head back to Canada! Thank you Best Western and especially to Heather, the GM!

We travel from Utah to watch our son play at ISU. Every time we come we are greeted with a friendly warm smile. We request the same room each time and are always accommodated. One visit the fridge was broken we left for a few hours and upon return it was fixed. I believe our housekeeper was Caroline or Carolyn she was very nice to help us. The best part that stands out is the customer service of Natalie (front desk) has a wonderful personality and even greets me by my first name even after weeks of not seeing me. My family and I look forward to staying here again in the Spring.

The motel was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Also has a restaurant right across the street. We would stay here again when we are traveling south or coming back from a holiday. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

This location is right off the Interstate so it's easy to access. The staff was friendly and efficient. It is located near some restaurants within walking distance, however, has a lounge and restaurant right onsite if you don't want to go anywhere else. We enjoyed our stay. Nice comfy beds and quiet room!

We are loyal Best Western customers. But wasn't real happy with this one. There were positives...quiet, spacious room, good lighting, curtains that didn't gap. And the breakfast was good and food was all hot. But the dispenser in the shower about did us in. We couldn't get more than a drop out of it at a time. I pumped on it for almost 5 minutes and never did get enough shampoo to make a lather. Unfortunately the conditioner and soap were the same. Would have gotten a high 4 star from me without this issue. Hope they fix this.

This hotel was amazing, huge rooms, very quiet, wonderful pool and hot tub, free paper, great breakfast, very polite staff very accommodating. We stayed in the executive room which was 2 queens and much larger, ask for the larger room.

Had a great stay, clean rooms, great service! I slept great, the beds and pillows were comfortable, usually sleep horrible at motels but slept like a rock. Was great, relaxing and enjoyed my stay immensely!

I'm going to be blunt. Easy check in process. Beautiful room. Comfortable bed. Slept like the dead. Check out was a breeze. Breakfast food, setup, location, was Fantastic! The wonderful woman running the dining area provided a lovely arrangement and made sure I was fully ready for a day on the road.

This is a great place to stay, we love the indoor pool and hot tub. The beds are comfortable and roomy.The location is just right for easy on and off the freeway.There is a nice view of the valley, and it is close to eating places.

We always look forward to staying at this property. It has everything that makes a BW hotel a great value: clean, comfortable room; friendly staff; good flavorful breakfast (they get extra points for offering chocolate chips for your oatmeal); convenient location.

we stayed here for one night and for one night a best western hotel is okay. the breakfast was okay also and our bed was clean. but the hotel is not in the best shape and is definetely not as new as it looks on the picures. some of the furniture were dirty and heavily used. we expected more!

Do not use the lounge. There is no cook so your food options are very limited and all the booths are held together with duct tape. The bartender over filled my glass while pouring my beer and her response was "oh my made a mess of the table". Excuse me but you poured my beer which I paid for on the table. Any other lounge would have apologized, cleaned up the mess and replaced the glass and Beer, not this place

We stay at Best Westerns a lot however this time we were very disappointed. First of all they make you sign a form stating you can not leave your pet in the room. However you are paying to let your pet stay there. Then when you go to the pet friendly room it is very dark and absolutely no carpet anywhere's in the room. Not very inviting to a hotel guest however the lobby is very nice. Then even though the room was clean we did not feel safe for the back door lock was not working making it so anyone could just come into the hotel at anytime. We would not recommend this hotel unless you ablsolutely can not find anything else in town.

We regretted coming there as the experience was bad! First we got a room which stinks from who ever knows what beyond cigarettes. After altering the room, we were put in a noisy one which causes us to wake up at midnight from an awful noise coming from outside. The motorcycles could be heard as well and we didn't sleep well!

We stayed here because we were too tired to keep driving! The hotel was nice, and the room was very clean!! However we had to listen to kids running up and down the halls, the people above us were very loud, and we could hear every time someone opened and closed their door. It was packed so I'm sure we were just there at the wrong time, but the room didn't block out outside noise well!

We stay at Best Western anytime we travel. We stay at this particular one in Pocatello, Id. a few nights a year for the Fair. They treat us great, the breakfast is wonderful. It's close to theaters and restaurants and has an inside pool we really enjoy.

We stayed here on our way home from Montana. It's a great location and near major roadways. It's quiet, clean and the staff is very accomodating. The hotel also has a bar/lounge that is very nice. Applebees restaraunt is within walking distance, but beware of the poor service.

My first time at the Best Western and i was impressed i recommend this hotel - the beds were GREAT n Comfortable, beds are big rooms clean - the staff was friendly so helpful so nice - hotel was very clean close to everything - Prices are reasonable - best hotel

Room was excellent. Breakfast was o.k. Enough to get you going. Coffee was great. Will stay here again. We always stop here on our way south because it is clean and quite. The girls at check in are always willing to take the time with you a weary traveler even tho the line to check in is busy.

The rooms require a desparate upgrade and dirty, white curtains missing hooks and food (sauce) literally on the drapes. Especially room 387 which was in the "executive wing". Will be considering switching our loyalty to Holiday Inn after this disappointment. Expressed the issue of the room upon check out and was told she would speak to housekeeping. Other than that nothing done to try to remedy the situation. Front lobby and breakfast room upgraded but rooms beyond disappointing!Extremely disappointed!!!

This is another example of a great, clean and fairly priced Best Western. We were upgraded to a king suite and room was spacious, bed was comfortable and entire room was clean. Bathroom area is small compared to the rest of the room.

Got a quite small room, but for one night it was okay. Neat and tidy, a little bit worn. The aid left one used glas in our room. Breakfast as it usually has to be, missed some bananas. And i can‘t get familiar with the all the plastics.

Was a great hotel to stay at while i was passing through on my way bacl home. Pool was great and clean, food and coffee was excellent for my kids and i to have before we headed another 9 hours back home

We love staying at Best Western. Kids love the pool its 24 hours. Especially a long day of softball games to wind down. And for the parents there's a lounge for parents to wind down. And restaurants near by just a walk down.

Late night arrival and the hotel did not have the 2 queen bed room we reserved online so they put me, my wife and 5yr old special needs son in a room with 1 king bed. Very cramped and uncomfortable for all of us.

This hotel is hard to find, signage on I15 is non-existent. If you're going to stay here and aren't familiar with Pocatello put the address in your Garmin and use it to get to the hotel. Also, the website for the hotel didn't have a map to show where it is from the interstate. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable but the AC unit was very noisy. The room was not well lit even with all the lights on, the dark color of the paint on the accent wall probably added to the dark feeling of the room. The breakfast area was nice, food was good though selection is limited. Breakfast starts at 0600 not a minute earlier, and the days I was there it was crowded at 0600 so if you can wait for a bit it clears out by about 0620. The only other comment I have is the tub/shower has shampoo, conditioner and soap dispensers instead of bar soap and mini bottles of shampoo. They give you one bar of soap for the sink and as my luck would have it the soap dispenser didn't work.

Spent 10 days and everything was as expected. I asked for a room on ground floor near a door made easy access for me to bring bike in and out. Pool was nice but a little to cool. The hot tub was nice but the surround was breaking up and needs replaced it didn't affect the hot tubs performance. Laundry was nice would have Been nice to be able to purchase detergent and dryer sheets in laundry. Gym was nice could use a few more devices and a big fan. One treadmill was pretty worn. Out of cleaning wipes. Breakfast was good when I used it. Room service was exceptional. They did a good job keeping my room clean around all of my gear. Really liked the AC, and larger than normal hotel room refrigerator. Bed was very comfy and hallway was quiet this is always a big deal to me. I'm a light sleeper!

Good service and knowledgeable staff. Breakfast was as expected with a variety of options to choose from. They were able to accommodate our need for a suite to fit our growing family. It's a quite enough hotel, swimming pool was a great temperature. I will stay here again on my next time through.

We are Diamond Select members of Best Western and disappointed in Pocatello motel. It has gone downhill since it was the Ameritel. Carpeting was dirty, room was small, price of room was very over-priced at $200/night and person checking in behind us was gouged $250, there was only one washcloth in the room, breakfast offered burnt scrambled eggs, the chair in the room was very uncomfortable, mirror was dirty, no screen on the window, pet area was partly dead grass, location to restaurants and freeway is good however. We used to live on the same hill. All in all, we will probably choose another motel chain on our next trip to Pocatello.

There are three buildings, so if you have walking difficulties, ask to be in the main building. The breakfast is decent, rooms are average as far as quiet goes, my only complaint is that we didn't get room service and we stayed two nights. Came back to the room the second afternoon to clean up for dinner and the beds weren't made, garbage cans were still full, and I had to ask for clean towels since our used ones were still on the bathroom floor. I can't believe we paid almost $270 and couldn't get a clean room! The front desk clerk offered to send someone down but we wanted to clean up and didn't have time to wait. Is this the new norm?

Great hotel to stay in and is very close to Interstate 15. Very helpful person at front desk. Was given my requested room on first floor near outside door. This hotel has a longe in it with happy hour drinks and food at bar or in your room at reasonable prices. Two tour bus loads of people were also staying there.

Hotel extended every courtesy including referral to a great nearby restaurant, the Sand Piper. Morning meal was complete, tasty, and plenty. Great stop on our Harleys . Counter Staff was attentive, quick, and efficient.

When we arrived we were put in the non attached building. Our beds looked as if they had been slept in and there was crumbs on the sheets of one bed. They did switch us rooms, however we could hear through the walls and could hear the kids running back and forth in the room above us.

Room was clean, breakfast was good, but beware of the executive building next to the hotel. The walls are paper thin you can hear people talking, coughing, sneezing, the TV and not only are the walls paper thin so is the ceiling, You can hear people walking across the floor above your head. The person above us walked across the floor all night long and it sounded like the ceiling was coming down. Do not stay in the executive building.

No elevator or handicapped accessible facility. Friendly and polite staff. Good breakfast. Stayed in non attached building and therefore had to walk outside to main building. Staircase to third floor was not clean. Room didn't look clean and was dingy and old and crowded with 2 queen beds. Would not stay again.

Excellent experience, we would stay here again if we were ever in Idaho again. We prefer to stay at Best Western Hotels when we travel. Another benefit is the front desk can make us a reservation at a Best Western at our next destination.

We arrived early at this hotel after being caught in a hail storm and we were soaked to the skin. We were given keys to our room straight away so we could get dry and changed. The room was large and comfortable, we slept well. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly . We would stop here again.

We stayed in a suite on the 2nd floor. It was spacious and relaxing. It seems to be a fairly new hotel. The lounge was nice and we were able to have dinner there. All of the staff were nice and helpful. I would certainly stay there again and would recommend it to anyone,

Stayed here many times and had my dog with me each time. No Problems as they seem to have a large number of pet friendly rooms. Very competitively priced too. Nice layout, comfortable lobby area and good food and coffee. I'll be back when I travel this route again.

Good hotel, room was good, bathroom a little dated. Hotel staff is amazing. Overall clean, quiet and good for a business stay. parking lot was being repaved and painted during my stay, I was surprised how fast it was accomplished and it did not impact my stay negatively.

I stayed one night here for a work conference and everything went well. The staff were all very very friendly, right down to the teenager that took out the trash in the lobby. The rooms were comfortable and affordable. They do have hot complimentary breakfast, but expect the same old precooked sausages, eggs from a carton and gravy from a can. There are a good assortment of bagels, pastries and a waffle iron.

Overall stay during my business trip, my key cards had to be reloaded, so I am not sure what to suggest to keep that from happening again, but ease of comfort and businesses near by made my stay enjoyable nonetheless.

I was on a cross country drive and needed a comfy place to stay overnight this hotel filled the bill perfectly fast check in and check out, friendly staff at the hotel desk and in the morning at breakfast.

Pool is open 24 hours and the breakfast buffet is clean and good. We were very happy with our stay. The room was large and beds very comfortable. Check in was easy and quick. We will definetly go back.

Easy access to the freeway and close to Idaho State University. Rooms are clean and breakfast fare is well stocked. Close to lots of restaurants. All of the employees were extremely friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located within walking distance to a few restaurants, the hotel its self has a lounge that serves food. Not a very big menu, but enough to of a menu to stay and enjoy. The beds are very comfortable, the decor of the room is very nice. I will be staying at this location from here on out.

Rooms in Pocatello are not great. We have stayed here before. The room was ok, though toilet didn't flush properly. We also had called ahead for a crib. They said they had one, but on arrival never delivered it to our room. We asked 3 times and they couldn't give us a straight answer nor did they ever bring it. By 11:30 pm, we gave up and went to bed. Out baby slept on a make-shift bed on the floor.

Not so quiet was on wrong side of the building I guess. You could feel the springs in the mattress. Heater in room is very loud. Room had lots of space. Price was good. Fitness room is good. Internet was good.

Recently stayed at the Best Western Pocatello. The hotel is a bit older than some, but the room that I had was clean, had sufficient power outlets for electronics and was quiet. The bed was comfortable and the price was right. There is an on-site bar that had some of the usual adult beverages and they also served food. The food was not extravagant nor was the menu. The garden salad I had was fresh and seemingly made to order, the fish and chips were tasty and came with a huge portion of chips, and the bar service was fast and friendly. They don't have a huge selection of craft beers so if you're looking for one of those on tap, you may need to look elsewhere. All that said, my stay at this establishment was perfect for what I needed and the location to my next day activities and the price made it a very good place.

Omg this is a very old and tired best western. Extremely disappointed in our room. You could barely move and NO place for your luggage. The bathroom tub peeling and dirty. The sink was a perfect height for a six year old. Saving grace the staff was lovely.

Older place. Needs updating. Maid service bangs on your door at 8:15 am. Room is adequate but design is weird. Bed was comfortable. Needs a good scrubbing. Easy access to freeway. Walls are pretty thin. Pool and hot tub are fairly nice, pool could be a few degrees warmer for the winter. Hot tub was clean. Hot breakfast.

The hotel itself is older, but it's clear that money has been spent to update everything and I found it to be quite a nice hotel for a work trip. Not being from the area, I found its proximity to the Interstate really helpful, and there was ample parking. Snow covered the area during my trip and the hotel dutifully put out plenty of salt on the sidewalks to reduce the chance of slipping, which I greatly appreciated. They also plowed the parking lot, which was very helpful. Breakfast is nice and worth stopping by for before heading out for the day. I would recommend for anyone visiting the area for work or pleasure (there's even an indoor pool!), or if you're just passing through.

Wow!! Love this place!! Was on our way back from Yellow Stone. Was surprised by this hotel, even just one night. The amenities are awesome! Love the swimming pool and hot tub!! Absolutely recommended!!!

The excellent quality of service has always been one of the main reasons for staying at the Pocatello, both for business and personal travel. The rooms are always clean and comfortable, never having an issue.

Had to pull in for the night on our way to Yuma. Was lucky enough to be able to get a room, but unfortunately we had to take a room on the 2nd floor. One of our party is mobility challenged due to recent knee surgery and there was no elevator. Made it a little tough for him. We ate in the lounge and the waitress was awesome. She was extremely busy but maintained a pleasant attitude at all times.

Hands down the best place to stay with a pet!!!! Very friendly and comfortable rooms! The staff was amazing to me and very accommodating to my Great Dane they even had dogs treats at the front desk .Check in was quick and easy as was checking out!

Our room had 2 queen beds and it was so small we literally had no room to put our suitcases. The room was dirty and when we looked at the mattress under the sheets it was visibly stained and dirty. Just disgusting! Beds are rock hard.

We stay at this hotel because it has great pet friendly rooms at a reasonably rate. It is just off I15 but is quiet. A few restaurants very close including an Applebys next door. Very easy mobile check-in and express check out which saves a lot of time. Only small issue is how small the sink area is. We have stayed here for 7 years in a row.

Terrible bed, very dark, dreary room. Not good value for the money! Staff was friendly, but did not seem to be on top of things... Very old and dated. That night there was frost, and no attempt was made to make the parking lot even somewhat safe... it woas worse than a skating rink!

2 night stay for christmas. Was upgraded to suite without asking! Has hot bacon and eggs breakfast . Clean quiet room . Nice hotel a good value for the money even though a little bit more than budget hotels.

We stayed at this motel when traveling between Jackson Hole and Bend, Oregon. It was very comfortable and clean with a substantial breakfast included in the tarrif which set us up well for a long drive that day.

The room seemed small and congested. There was not a place to hang clothes in a normal area. It was in the bathroom and you didn't notice it until you shut the door. Very inconvenient. We love to swim, but the pool area temperature was very cold. Had to wear coats to stay warm. They did have a good breakfast bar and it was maintained well. Fairly good assortment of items available.

This is a great choice in Pocatello. The hotel has a beautiful view of the hills, in a quiet location. It has convenient parking. Very good rooms and a nice breakfast. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Overnight stay after long trip from Las Vegas. Very helpful staff at checkin. I mistakenly booked a queen instead of king on expedia and staff exchanged us to king. Always stay at this property when travelling.

Stayed here once before and had a rough experience manager made it up to us accommodating us to the best of their ability and it was an excellent stay. Never had any problems will for sure return in the future. Staff was very friendly and very helpful

The accommodations for this hotel was good as we had our dog with us. But the heater didn't work well and there was a lot of outside, next door noise from barking dog and crying baby. Room was nice and breakfast good.

Hotel was good roomswere clean breakfast was ok if the noise late at night wasn't so bad the stay would have been good. Wall are really thin especially if you have a connecting door. We have stayed there in the past and our previous stays were not bad

Gal at front desk gave us room 154. Upon entering, I promptly used the restroom then went to wash my hands. The countertop was the height of my knees. It must be a handicap room we thought. Going back to front desk, the gal was rude. She had black straight hair and glasses. She said all the rooms were like that and the counter was not too low. There was an unkempt female hanging over the counter at the side, to which the desk person kept asking questions. The desk female said there were not mgrs on duty and she refused to give us another room. I got my money back and will _never_ stay here. She needs to be fired.

We always stay at this hotel on our way to Phoenix from Calgary and on our way back to Calgary. We are always pleased with the wonderful pleasant staff, the clean rooms, the great breakfast. Our bed was so comfortable and the room temperature was perfect. We awoke refreshed and ready to go. We will continue to stay here as we are never disappointed.

I've stayed at this hotel the last 3 years as it is dog friendly and has been a great place to stay in prior years. This year it was very customer unfriendly >Front Desk acted like she was doing me a favor upon checking me in >When I talked to her about the room after getting to it (it was very small compared to rooms I've had in the past) she didn't apologize or offer another room. >TV remote didn't work. It was corrected, but that is just annoying when it doesn't work >Walls >Room was already very small and then they stuffed a upholstered chair, a table, a huge console into as it as well. I have large dog crates and I had barely room to get by one. The other one went in the bathroom because the room was too small. >The walls were paper thin and every conversation could be heard. >The exterior wall was brick and made the room feel extremely cold >My daughter dropped her Bluetooth behind bed and when she went to retrieve , it looked like that had not been cleaned ever.

We are average sized individuals and have stayed in your standard room before. We know this was not your standard room but the front desk refused to correct the situation by offering us your standard room.

Being a handicapped individual (an above knee amputation), my wife and I stayed with our puppies at the Best Western Hotel in Pocatello Idaho a few days ago. We've stayed here virtually every year (twice) for the past 7 years. We've had issues with some things at this particular hotel and made my frustrations and comments known. I've had the opportunity to speak with the Manager of the Hotel, Heather, a few times. Heather was been very cooperative and understanding of my situation and of the frustration I had made. She has made changes and helped with my situation, which has resulted in enjoyable stays. Being from Canada and having driven a long ways (13 hours), those being in this situation (tiredness, pets and an understanding wife being cooped up in a vehicle) understand that all you want to do is quickly check in, find your room, have the amenities you need and get unpacked can appreciate what I go through. Being a handicapped individual has it's limitations (recent amputee). Everything at the Pocatello Best Western had been what we needed! Quick check-in, room with the amenities that I needed was excellent. Having to use my wheel chair in the room as my leg was very sore from the trip, was good. There was plenty of room to maneuver, both in the main area and getting to the bathroom and using all facilities!!! This was great! The sleep we got was great! Excellent bed!! Being near the one entrance, I thought might be challenging (hearing people coming and going), but I was mistaken. It was a quiet night. Although we did hear some 'heavy' running in the upstairs hallway, that was only once in the early evening hours. Taking our pups outside to do their business was easy and again greatly appreciated. There was plenty of room for them to do their business and come back inside. One thing, now that I think of it, might be for the hotel to put some small garbage cans outside the entrances so that one does not have to a way to dispose of it. Check in was quick and easy .... everything before hand was on file and all I had to do was provide ID, CC and sign a few forms. Check out was again easy and quick. The front counter staff were polite and asked about our stay and if there were any issues, which there were not. This hotel offers a HOT breakfeast BUFFET!!! It is well stocked, HOT and cold items are offered. It is a great way to start your day and leave shortly thereafter. Parking for a handicapped individual was good. There are a number of handicapped stalls close to the entrances. I would also point out that if you are handicapped and park on the S end of hotel (if in front of main entrance, I would believe it would be facing W), there is a handicapped stall on the back side by the street. Like I indicated, I am an above knee amputee who was wearing his prosthetic leg. When I got out, after parking, as this stall was right by our room, it was very dark on this side and as an amputee, you have to be EXTREMELY CAREFUL in stepping around the area. There are a few pavement 'bumps' that pose a serious concern for someone who has an average prosthetic leg and have to keep that back pressure on your joint. If you are not careful, your foot may not make it over any 'bumps' which would result in you not being able to get that full extension and locking of your leg. One just has to be careful when in this one spot. We've been here a number of times and I know about this issue, so I adjust... just thought you would appreciate knowing. There are a lot of food places outside the hotel if needed, which are close by. Also, the hotel is located a short distance from the I-15, easy to come off and to get back onto! It is far enough away from main roads so that your sleep is NOT disturbed by outside noise! Having access to the hotel's wireless internet was great! Easy to link up and speed good!. They even have a couple of computers in the main lobby. I would definitely stay here again and we plan on doing so. Price is good, quality of sleep excellent, breakfast buffet excellent, staff friendly and accommodating, quick check in & out ... why not stay here! Especially being a 'PET FRIENDLY' hotel!!

My stay at Best Western was very inviting, the room was warm, comfortable, clean. I would most definitely stay here again! they allow your pet to stay also, and they give treats for your four legged friend.

My daughter and I drove 15.5 hrs from Canada on our way to Vegas. We have stopped here before because of the great stay.... The rooms are good the pool is open 24hrs. And the breakfast is great. Only place we stay

We had a good stay at this Best Western similar to the quality stays we have had at other hotels in this chain. The room was quiet, clean and the amenities were as expected here. The breakfast was enough to get us on the road quickly and lasted until lunch.

Mom, Dad and Adult daughter, stayed , enjoyed the pool, rooms were great. Hot breakfast and fruit. Comfortable beds really enjoyed our stay. Julie at desk was helpful in advising us of a restaurant for supper and said they also give discounts to Best Western guests. Had a Canadian gift card, would have liked to do a stay in St George at BW but no accomadations, also in Mesquite . NV

Our room was on achiever and had two windows plus was next to the door that went outside the hotel. I woke up to outside noises and people coming in and out all night long. Bed wasn't awful but not great either

We enjoy the Pocatello area and try to stop here when possible. The BW here is excellent. Not sure if it is a new property or renovated but it is clean, fresh, up to date and the staff are friendly and helpful. Would recommend it to friends and we will stop here the next time through.

The beds were awful. Mattresses need replacing. Heating system did not work. Best part of the stay was breakfast. Front desk staff did not even say “sorry” when I reported the problems. We have been staying at this hotel twice a year for the last four years. Won't be staying there again.

Pretty good value seemed clean, friendly staff, breakfast was ok, quiet and comfortable. Easy to get to, just off the interstate. With many hotels in the area I thought the price might be a little lower, but it's all good

We keep coming back to this Pocatello Best Western hotel. It is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. Nice jacuzzi and pool. A home away from home. Convenient location to the college. Never a complaint in the numerous times we've stayed here.

We were not notified that our upgraded room was in a wing with unsupervised school children attending a choir competition. When the busload of children arrive, it was expected that there would be a little noise. However, with door slamming for several hours, loud voices, knocking on the adjoin room door, etc., this was not a very nice stay. When we checked out, we mentioned to the clerks that the children were unruly and we should have been notified of the situation. Their response: They are here for a choir completion and they were not unruly. So, very nice room with a big surprise.

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times during the last four years. Have always found the accommodations comfortable. The staff is always friendly and go out of the way to make our stay pleasant. The location is within easy walking distance to several restaurants and the freeway is very accessible.

Overall 5 stars to check in to check out- thank you. Quit room to work in as well as sleep. Front desk host was very attentive, informative and kind. I wanted to inquire about the rewards program...she asked and offered before I asked... love that.

Great place to stay. Clean, friendly staff & atmosphere. Breakfast was very good with a nice selection of breakfast items & a large bright room. A few good restaurants nearby that we enjoyed. A little disappointed with their handicap ramp service. I don't know if they are working to improve it as it had yellow tape around it & a big sheet of plywood to help a person pull up your suitcases. It worked but an actual eyesore!!

Great staff, clean, modern, great breakfast!! We were greeted by a wonderful lady at the front desk, she upgraded our rooms to keep us all together and had a wonderful attitude. The cleaners did a fantastic job and the breakfast crew did as well.

Loved the updated rooms, comfortable beds, and nice shower. The tiny area where the bathroom sink is located could present a bit of a problem though to a larger person. The on premise lounge (The Cotton Room) is great, and in addition to a full bar it also has a nice selection of food items on it's menu. Complaint wise, parking isn't close by unless you come in early and there's definitely a deficit on baggage carts.

Great place it is lots of fun really really good beds quiet rooms with great shower nice spa area with excellent up to date exercise equipment and its of it Breakfast was excellent with very good service

Plumbing was extremely loud along with the refrigerator and air conditioning unit. You could feel all the springs in the mattress and the room smelt old. I would not stay here again. Disappointed with my experience. Should have spent my money somewhere else.

Our room was dark and had a strange layout. There was a counter space in the bedroom but the sink area outside the bathroom was very tiny. Hardly enough space for one person, let alone two. There are lots of motels in Pocatello so we will likely try a different one next time.

The hotel and staff were very competent. The room was clean and nice, however the heating/cooling unit is located right next to the headboard of the bed and is very noisy! The constant turning on/off of the unit interrupted my sleep during the entire night!

So I'm always staying at BW and I'm not to fussy but this time was a little different and believe me im.far from perfect lol..but wasn't offered the usual rewards and my room had empty water bottles and papers on the floor when I walked in.only concerning to me because I thought maybe some one had been in there or whatever.. I was to tired and let them know the next morning..other then that which is really minor everything was great

This was a nice place to stay. There was no smoke smell in the room (many hotels I stay at in "non-smoking" rooms still smell smoky). Pet friendly is a plus, and the rooms were really nice (many pet-friendly hotels have rooms that are not that great). Great breakfast - best eggs at a continental breakfast that I've ever had. Only problem was the weekend we were there they had some plumbing problem - our sink kept bubbling and backing up several times over the weekend. I suspect that this was just a freak random occurrence. I would stay here again if passing through Pocatello.

During my 21 day stay, the food service was excellent, usual fair but the appliances did not work and the Staff did not inform me that the passcode for the internet changed monthly. I stayed here because I was suppose to be able to cook and use the internet, no one helped me get it fixed. I found the circuit breaker myself in the closet near the door. I had to go to the desk, no one spoke to me at the desk to help, and inquire about the internet. Not a friendly place to stay, Staff on cell phones, calls, ignores guests

Check in was bright and cheery, efficiency with a smile. The hotel layout is a bit convoluted but they have good maps and directions so it wasn't a problem. The lobby, hallways and room have been nicely refurbished and are quite attractive. No so much the bathroom - old tub, tile somewhat battered and chipped, but very clean so it wasn't really an issue, just odd. There was a bit too much furniture in the room, so it was quite crowded and a bit awkward with a couple of suitcases. The bathroom is huge, so we put one suitcase in there and we were fine. Beds were getting a bit old, not the nice pillow top mattress BW usually has, but it was okay and had a pretty good night's sleep. Breakfast was the usual morning fare, with lots of variety. Morning staff were not nearly as friendly and cheery as the check in personnel the evening before, but we had done express checkout so didn't have to do much with them. All in all, much better that most hotels in the price range, but not quite up to what one would normally expect from Best Western.

Applebee's is right next door and you can order ahead and pick it up. Very convenient if travelling with a dog. My husband does not do stairs very well and there was no way to get to the breakfast area without going up a flight of stairs.

Misleading presentation on internet about being newly renovated. Only the lobby and common room as far as we could tell. Staff was unhelpful when asked. Checkin staff was robotic and stone faced throughout.

This multilevel hotel is great for both business and leisure travelers. There is lots of parking, and there are lots of good clean rooms. The spa is not as nice as I would have expected but the pool is open 24 hours a day. Break fast is good, and the customer service is great. We were able to check in quickly even arriving a few minutes early. The internet worked well, and the room was clean and close to one of the many parking areas.

Hi, this is our 2nd time at this hotel. The rooms are clean and updated. The breakfast is very good. The customer service is top notch. I wish the beds were less hard and the rooms are larger. We were able to change our room because the one we were in was so small 2 people could not pass one another at the end of the bed. The ladies at the front worked with us to fix the problem.

Newer hotel clean rooms, weird narrow sink area next to bathroom, none of the outlets would hold any electrical plugs so I had to prop them up to charge phone and tablet etc, no big deal just an issue, comfortable bed, a bit pricey, close to restaurants. Room was quiet, hotel was full up. Located on step graded site near top of a hill for a view of surrounding hills.

I had to use google maps to figure out how to actually get to the hotel, but it was a nice clean hotel with a good set up. The only downside was thin walls and loud door locks resulted in a night with little sleep.

This is a very large hotel. Good size rooms which were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the standard fare. We would stay here again. We didn't use the pool but it is open 24 hours. Be aware that there are no elevators. We only had about 7 steps to go up to our room from the parking lot.

We stayed in one of the Suites and it was AWESOME! That's right I said it Best Western Pocatello Inn has one of the nicest cleanest suites I have stayed in, as a Diamond member I have seen them all and I was so shocked at how big and open this hotel is. Every time I have business in Southeastern Idaho I am going to stay at this Best Western.

We were very impressed with the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we had a great night's sleep! Breakfast was very good. They had a good selection and everything was fresh and tasty.

I stayed at 4 different Best Westerns on my trip and they were all uniform, clean, had breakfast and internet included and they were friendly. I could also get them on the phone and didn't have to do it on the internet! I really appreciate that as well! Overall, I would recommend them to anyone traveling cross country.

Everything was above and beyond my expectations.The breakfast choices were excellent. I travel every week for my job and will look at Best Western more often for my hotel needs. The staff was very professional and courteous.

Very nice hotel, very obviously updated. The bar inside has a divey (in the best possible way) feel and the rest of the place feels new. TVs were HD and it showed. Staff was friendly and fast. Has a pool and breakfast but I wasn't able to try out either. Beds were comfortable it was close to town and quiet.

Reasonably priced, clean room and lobby; polite, professional staff. Breakfast had hot and cold options, the usual (sausage, eggs, toast, gravy, biscuits, yoghurt, etc). Did not have an elevator in the stand-alone wing our room was in. I'm 67, in good shape, but prefer to have an elevator when hauling luggage.

We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone...except that the sink and shower water is much too soft. That alone will keep us from booking this hotel in the future. Other than the soft water problem, everything else is fine. The location is near I15 and near several very good restaurants.

Superbly clean and nice hotel. Pet rooms are tiled so no worries if there's an accident. Very friendly staff. Will stay again. Great continental breakfast and nice quiet place to stay. Very clean and up to date decor.

GReat hotel but if you want the lounge then i would not recommend. They are nice and the pool was indoors which was nice for my girls. But after a long day of being at the fair and wanting to have a nice cold drink, that is why we paid to stay here due to the lounge of walking distance. Then to find it was closed early! I am from SLC so having alcohol within close proximity was what I was looking for. I may stay somewhere else next time. If you do not drink I recommend this hotel 100%

Apparently under new management since we stayed here previously. Fitted sheet on bed was old and didn't fit, elastic was no longer stretchy. I was remaking the bed and flattening out the mattress pad all night long. No TV channel lineup or information on local restaurants in the room as most hotels have.

We stay here once or twice a year on our way to Montana. It is always comfortable, clean & the staff is very good. The breakfast is fresh, tasty & there is always a nice selection. Our only observation this year is that many small children are allowed to monopolize the spa tub & pool. I understand the pool but floaties & diaper babies in the spa??!! What are these parents thinking, not about their babies healthy. No chances of us getting in or even wanting to. Unfortunate that parents will let the kids do anything regardless of health concerns or other folks. Hotel itself is great.

We were staying a night after visiting Yellowstone national park. We booked this hotel because it is on the way to SLC. We very like this hotel and want to come back some other time. Very nice staff and good service and nice room. Convenient location to all the shops and restaurants.

We had made a arching loop from Casper, WY to Pocatello, ID and wanted to make sure we have a comfortable no hassles place to stay. The Pocatello BW certainly fits the bill along with a very nice breakfast the next morning as well. We will definitely stay here again.

The room we stayed in was small, but the main reason I'm only giving an average review is due to the AC unit in our room. It simply wasn't getting the job done...was not adequate in cooling the room. Other than that, the room was clean and the front desk staff was friendly & helpful, especially Mercedes. The location of the hotel couldn't be better and the breakfast has something for everyone. Overall, a good experience...just wish the AC was more efficient.

Stayed two nights at this hotel. The employees are all wonderful; all the staff members were so nice and friendly and were extremely helpful. However, the hotel itself is old and the rooms are really dated. The room we had badly needed new carpet, new flooring, the bathrooms are super small and old, the room had a bad smell (smelled like someone might have smoked in the room), and the bedding and other furniture really all needs to be replaced. Our roomed seemed dark and uninviting; glad we didn't spend much time in the room anyways. We felt like we had to keep our curtains closed because although we were on the second floor, the parking lot was almost directly out the window, and anyone could have seen right in to our room. The hotel is only two stories and no elevators. The lobby was nice and seemed more updated, same with the breakfast area. There was always ice water and coffee out in the lobby, which was really nice. The pool was right off the lobby and looked nice as well. The hallways and the rooms were what needed updating. The carpets and doors are old. The exercise room was okay, it seemed a little more updated, but only had a few cardio machines, although it was never crowded when I used it. I got a good deal on the price and breakfast was free and was never crowded.

This is the place to stay if you are in Pocatello area. Great location, close to good food and quiet. People are nice and welcoming. There is so much to see and do in this area. A wonderful trail system for hiking and biking.

I have never left a bad review, but I think this motel is overpriced 25-30%, based on the age, and the sagging, hard, innerspring mattress in the room. Our sleep quality was very poor due to the mattress. Housekeeping needs some work too. Not awful, but just not up to Best Western standards, and definitely not worth the money.

The hotel was located in a nice area. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was good. The staff was friendly. We had our dog with on the trip and it was a nice place to stay with a pet. We would stay here again if we are in the area.

Stayed for several days around the Solar Eclipse Day 2017. Very convenient to highway 15. Small room that appeared to be recently remodeled, although construction could have been better. Room features cold AC but is loud; if you're sensitive to noise, make sure you pack ear plugs.

We were on the 3rd floor , and have to bring all our stuff up 2 to3 times ... What a pain. The room was big and comfortable , but sink was so small ... What a joke . The breakfast was fine the standard stuff, cereal, oatmeal packets, fresh fruit( banana, apples, oranges) yogurt, waffle maker ... They have a coffee machine which was nice .. Dec, light, med dark roast, capppicano, etcc.. Hot choc machine for kids . The dinning room was big and clean .

We stayed here the night before and the night after the 2017 Solar Eclipse. Mostly it was fine, but the housekeeping was somewhat lacking. Our room was not ready until about 4:10 p.m., even though checking time is 3:00 p.m. The housekeepers left cleaning items in the room, and did not take them the second day. They left us only one facecloth for the 2nd day, and did not make up the pullout sofa/bed. Nothing major, but overall we were not particularly impressed.

The Pocatello Best Western offered us a great place to stay while we were attending the Annual Sho-Ban Pow Wow. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, with refrigerator and microwave available. Nice staff.

Good attempt at updating this hotel, however you can't fix OLD! The room was updated somewhat old tub and shower. carpet was nasty especially on the stairs. There are no elevators and the rooms are very noisy. Carpets need cleaned!!!!!!

Best Western has done a great job to upgrade this location. However, the building still has an "older style". We did appreciate the "Family Suite" so that our family could all have beds to sleep in. The breakfast was fine and we were on our way the next morning.

This is a very nice hotel ... the staff was friendly and helpful. It's located close to I-15 & I-86. The have lots of parking, and the pool stays open 24/7. There are plenty of restaurants in the area. The room was modern and very clean. I will definitely stay here again. I will definitely stay here again!

We have always had good luck with best westerns so we stayed here instead of staying in lava Hot Springs. The room was a decent size and was recently updated. The room was clean, the beds are comfy, and they had a nice, full, hot breakfast in the morning. The dining room where they have breakfast was also very nice.

The team was very kind, but the room was everything but clean!! Big room with two queens but sheet and towels dirty and hairs in the tube!!! In my opinion to avoid, considering also the price above 100 € ...

Overall this hotel does the job. Good price if you don't mind to drive a little bit longer before going to Yellowstone. This hotel doesn't have elevators so you have to use stairs if your room is on the 2nd or 3rd floor. Kind of sucks when you you have a lot of luggage. Indoor pool with a good breakfast selection.

Excellent property. It was a last minute decision to stop in Pocatello as we had planned on staying in Twin Falls. Was very happy with the property. Has a very nice pool area, clean rooms, comfortable beds and different pillows to choose from. Would stay here again.

This hotel is not set up and is actually dangerous for someone in a wheelchair. We stayed in the executive wing and the entrance is very unsafe for a wheelchair. The sidewalk had a couple of large gaps that my wheelchair wheel got caught in and then the slope of the entrance is so great that you could easily roll away before you could get yourself stoped

My room was awful. I heard every cough from the kid next door. Could feel the springs in my bed. The door did not shut tight so hallway noise was a problem and mildew in the shower. Breakfast was fine but by then I was cranky and tired. Not a restful stay. Glad I only booked one night. This first pic is the gap around the door. Second is mildew on shower ceiling.

Felt like we were sleeping in the hallway. The lights form the hallway were so bright comeing in around the door I might well of left a room light on as we slept. We anyone was in the hallway I could clearly hear the conversation.

I haven't gone to bed yet, because the people next door might as well be in the room with me. I can feel the springs in the bed. It's not good. Wish I'd stayed elsewhere. I can hear the toilet flush next door. That's not necessary. The room looks great, but it's not. This bed sucks and the walls are made of paper. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else.

All the staff was very helpful, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was decent, the express check out was a breeze. All in all, we were very well taken care of. The next time we are in this area, we will stay here again.

We had 2 queens and a pullout. Room was a good size. It was upstairs but parking was near. We used the pool and hot tub area as our 4 boys are water kids. The pool was a typical hotel pool as was the hot tub. Both seemed to be in fine working order. We had breakfast there and it was fine as well. This is a typical hotel with standard amenities. Well worth the price for a family of 6. We stopped here on our way from SLC to West Yellowstone.

I expect the Best Western chain of hotels to deliver 'above the norm' service & amenities. This particular hotel in Pocatello, ID needs to update their standards. Their most immediate need are better mattresses! The room itself is clean but has dark décor, poor natural light, dirty windows and 'iffy' internet service. The breakfast choices are mediocre. The bar/lounge needs more staffing, at least during a busy weekend when the hotel is busy (as it was when we were there). The pool is small and was extremely busy when we were there so didn't even bother to use it (although it is open 24 hours which is nice). All in all, I would choose another hotel in the future.

The room was so tiny it was difficult for two people to move around each other. The. Bar tender was so rude and attempted to steal my change. Other than those two short comings the beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful.

Started off bad, got a disappointing room, switched too a better room? but still not good, beside the staircase and ramp outside next to window....noisy. Hotel is very dated! Tried the lounge, no wait staff in sight and the smell of grease was unbearable so we went to Applebee's just up the road. Everything about our stay was poor at best....usually stay at butte or Idaho falls but took a chance on driving a little farther. Boy was I wrong. I don't like giving such bad reviews but had to in this case. I still love the best western chain...just not this one!

To expensive, dirty, old carpet, old bed, old tv, old tv remote, old a/c unit, old room. Everything looked, smelled, and operated like it hadn't been used in years, or hadn't been updated or maintained for years. Booked 2 nights, stayed 1. Will not book again.

I'm always happy to stay at the BW in Pocatello ID. This is one of my favorite hotels. Always friendly, always clean, always comfortable, with a Applebee's in the parking lot. Will be staying there again soon.

We stopped here as our first stop for our vacation and found the room comfortable and would stay again. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good and hot. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. We were just passing through so couldn't say more about the area.

Was very pleased with hotel. Havent stayed at a Best Western before and now will stay there more often. Everyone was nice and made the stay pleasant. Also made sure we had all the information about the hotel.

The front desk lady was very welcoming and friendly. They were very efficient and used walkie talkies to check if a room was available yet. The interior was gorgeous. I loved the dark wood and there was coffee and much appreciated ice water. There was ample places to park even with a pickup and trailer or RV.The campus was very large and so pretty,it was very well maintained.Our room was very nice and clean. It was nice they had the air conditioning on before guest arrived. I enjoyed the very clean pool and clean hot tub. Idid use the exercise room and it had good air conditioning. The breakfast room was spacious and had very good food.For dinner you can walk across the parking lot and eat at applebees,which had good food.

First off let me say that Julianna and the front desk staff are amazing! I have stayed here a few times and they are so friendly, attentive and helpful! The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. There is also a lounge that serves bar food and drinks located in the hotel. This hotel is also within walking distance of a restaurant and has ample parking space, even larger vehicles.

Great Experience! Julianne the manager was so very nice and helpful. Room was awesome and so was the service here. I will definitely come back. The bed hurt my back but other than that it was perfect.

This hotel is has a nice vibe and is clean. Pool is open 24 hours which is convenient. Beds were fine and breakfast is the the usual hot and cold items. 2 floors and no stairs. They offer help but wasn't mentioned at checkin. Staff was very nice. Emus

When you are traveling in the Pocatello, Idaho area be sure to stop for a good night's stay at the Best Western Pocatello Inn. It is easy off and on of the freeway with a variety of good restaurants close by - some even within walking distant. The Inn is a beautiful hotel and is Pet Friendly and even had treats for my pets at check-in. The rooms are beautifully decorated, are clean, and have very comfortable beds and pillows for my good night's sleep. The people who checked me in were very friendly and lso helpful with answers to my questions about the hotel and about the Pocatello area. Breakfast is included and Melinda greeted me with a happy "Good Morning" and presented a full breakfast choice of delicious food. My overall rating of this facility is the BEST - and I plan to go back soon for another stay.

Decent stay at BW Pocatello! Clean rooms, comfortable bed, Better than average breakfast. Convenient location yet quiet enough. Nice little gym and an interior pool. We'll be back on our way back through.

Very nice hotel, quiet, clean rooms and comfortable beds. AC is very good to control. Good choices for morning breakfast either hot or cold breakfasts. Ample, close parking. I had a room in the Executive Wing, not sure the difference, however it was a very good stay for the week.

Best western Pocatello Inn in Pocatello Idaho is a nice place to stay for a night. It does get a bit crowed in the breakfast area, but the room is clean, and comfortable. Restaurants are nearby to walk to. Convenient to the highway.

The exterior and staff were wonderful. However, the wing where we stayed didn't have an elevator and we stayed on the third floor. The coffee maker didn't work. You can hear the next doors TV or when they open/close their door. The overall stay was good though. It was close to the freeway and gas stations and the price was good.

Stuck on road trip w/ broken down rv. Family disapponted cançelled disneyland, but happy with pool. Breakfast could have had more choices, better selection. Pool could have closed later. Room ac was warm.

The best western was great . The lounge was where I had my diner and partied with some very nice strangers and a very nice bartender.The room was everything promised. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the coffee was outstanding.

Front desk and breakfast crew were not friendly. Ice machines not on 2nd floor. Pool was cloudy and kids did not want to swim in it. They couldn't see with their goggles on. It was nice to be able to walk down to the liquor store. Just down a block.

The fridge in the room was extremely LOUD!! It made this loud humming noise. We had to unplug it eventually to sleep. Also, the AC unit was also loud and every time it kicked on that night to cool the room it woke my husband up. The water temperature in the room was horrible. We had to keep the nozzle on the coldest setting, yet all we got was fluctuating cold and burning hot water. I had to shower 4 children and they were either screaming because of the cold water or the hot water burning them. It was extremely frustrating. It also was the same thing when the adults took showers. I told the personal at the front desk this and she wrote the complaint down. That was it. No sorry, no let me partially comp. your room, or give you extra points. I feel like when I pay over $100 for a room per night I expect that room to be in a good, comfortable, working order. When there's noises that keep us awake, or we are unable to even shower without burning ourselves, there should be some compensation offered.

Good hotel for the money. Rooms are comfortable. Would have liked a few more stations to choose from on the tv. Biscuits & gravy at breakfast are great. Pool & hot tub look relaxing, didn't have the time to use though

Room was small and dark. Bathroom sink was tiny and mirror was too. Bed was great. Over priced if you ask me. Think I will skip Best Western. Pool was kinda murky and hot tub was difficult to get in and out of.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. We were asked numerous times if there was anything we needed or that they could do to help. The rooms were clean, and well laid out. They had a nice breakfast with a good assortment of food items. The best part is that it is a pet friendly hotel, so our dogs were welcome. There were grassy areas for the dogs. There is easy access off the highway, and it is close to restaurants, and shopping. The wifi access was easy and worked outstanding.

I rate this as a good Hotel. Will visit again. Rooms were very clean and well appointed. Breakfast was great. No complaints. It was a little hard to find as we are not familiar with Pocatello. Checkin was speedy which was very nice as we were on the road for about 20 hours. The hotel was quit and pet friendly. I liked the laminate floor rather than carpet.

We were going to Ogden but all hotels were booked for a convention. We decided to stay in Pocatello instead since it was 6pm and I didn't want to get stuck with out a place to stay tonight. When we arrived I had to pay $165 (yikes...I paid $100 2 weeks ago on the way up). I had kids who all they wanted to do after 8 hours in the car was swim. When we got to the pool the hot tub was broken and there was throw up in the pool (puke...beyond gross). No one knew how to clean the pool, my kids were devastated and no one cared. I saw other kids swimming not 30 minutes later and they probably never knew about the pool. The hotel feels dirty and I am scared to eat breakfast in the morning. Very disappointed as we stayed at a lovely BW in Landon Utah on the way to Washington. My only saving part of this stay was the lovely lady who worked the lounge. I will never stay here again.

My husband and I stayed a night and enjoyed this hotel very much. Room was nice, bed comfortable and restaurant within walking distance. Very friendly and helpful staff staff too. Lication is good, right off freeway, but not so close to hear the noise. The property is uniquely laid out very nicely.

We enjoy the service convenience and quality of this establishment. Will stay here again when we are in Pocatello. The pool was excellent and the hours are terrific. We only have good things to say about this motel

I've been staying at this hotel for over 10 years. Used to have a GREAT relationship with the staff, hell we even sent Christmas cards to each other. The way it is now I don't think I will ever be back. The service is not what it once was. I still love the best western brand just don't care for the service this location is now giving.

The exterior and public areas are nice and clean. The workers are very friendly and helpful. The room was not very clean. The floor looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in quite awhile. The outlets didn't work. The bed was uncomfortable. We were there on a busy weekend so paid quite a bit for the small room we got.

the hotel is what you would expect at a best western. The pool was open 24 hrs which was nice. staff were very good and fast check in and out. easy to get to from the interstate. restaurants were nearby. and gas as well

This is an older place, rooms could use a little updating, as they are a little dark. Bed was very comfortable and having a couch in our king room was nice. Staff was friendly. We didn't use the pool but it looked very inviting and it's nice having an on site bar and grill.

We got this room because we had enough Visa World Perks points to get a free room. We typically stay at other properties but we were pleasantly surprised at the appearance and cleanliness of the room and property. The bathroom was small but clean and for the value this is a perfect place for an overnight stay with my husband. The jacuzzi was broken but the front desk let us know that on check in. I would have liked to use it, but knowing before suiting up was helpful.

The staff at the hotel was very helpful. We felt welcomed immediately. The room was beautifully decorated, and the beds provided a comfortable night's sleep. They have a lounge onsite, and the breakfast bar had a good variety of options. I loved the cappuccino machine!

The room was okay. The room was clean. The room needs updating. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was near the freeway and easy to find. There are restaurants and gas stations near by. We didn't use the pool, but saw many people enjoying it. The breakfast was good.

We are Diamond members and frequently stay at Best Westerns so we know what to expect. The first night the place was fine, although the Wifi was pitifully slow and kept dropping.But the second evening sfter a long day of sight seeing we returned exhausted to a room that had not been cleaned, despite the "Please make up room" sign on the door. We phoned and were basically blown off--no apologies, no "I'm sorry", just "we can't do anything about it now." When? Tomorrow after we have checkednout? Really?

This Best Western is located in a very convenient area to restaurants and services. Rooms are very comfortable and I enjoyed the hot tub for relaxtation. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodated our request for a ground floor room. The recommendation from them for a nice restaurant was perfect !

Room was nice, clean, vinyl wood look flooring was much better than carpet. I always travel with a ranch dog and it's important that I stay at a hotel that allows her to be with me. The staff was very friendly and even gave Sassy a milk bone on check in. the parking lot was large enough to accommodate my large horse trailer as well. Will definitely stay there again.

Stayed the night in a king room. It was nice, but small. Had a couch and a chair l, a king bed, and a big screen TV on the dresser. The sink area, and closet were very small, as was the room for a king. Very clean, and shower was great. Coffee and hot water was cold in the lobby when we arrived. Only one person working so had to wait to check in. All in all, not a bad stay. $120.00 for a night, so fair in price. I'd stay again.
