Best Western Paducah Inn

Quick summary: Excellent, comfortable, clean room. Very good complimentary breakfast. Wifi and HVAC work very well. Many of amenities one expects of a good BW hotel. Convenient to highway and town restaurants and attractions. Friendly, professional staff throughout. Excellent housekeeping throughout - the room feels fresh. My review is based on what I expect of hotels of this class. We stayed in room 107 that has two very comfortable queen beds, and lots of good pillows. All the good room features one expects of a good BW property (we are fans, and belong to their loyalty program:) fridge (with a good separate freezer compartment!), microwave, coffee/tea maker, iron/board, good-size desk with an ergo chair, and a sitting chair. Chest of 3 drawers and a closet. Good-size flatscreen TV that is easy to use, and the hotel is thoughtful enough to provide a printed copy of the channels (I hate having to scroll through a bazillion channels to find your favorites.) Wifi and HVAC work very well. Nice tub/shower combination in the bathroom (I love a bath at the end of the day - glad to be off my feet.) Nice quality towels. Shampoo and conditioner toiletries provided, as well as pimp hand soap at the sink. Everything in the room and bathroom feels very fresh and well-cared-for. Excellent, tasty breakfast - scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy (I love just butter on my biscuits,) make-your-own waffles, assorted breads, fresh fruit at the perfect ripeness (THANK YOU!! I appreciate your effort- that's hard to do.) Yogurt, juices, cereals, etc. -- Basically most of anything you could want - and good bless decently strong coffee with real half-and-al!! Complimentary coffee/tea bar available in the lobby during the day. Friendly, helpful staff throughout. Excellent housekeeping. Nice lounge and public rooms. We didn't use the pool and fitness rooms, but they looked nice and clean. I think there is also a laundry available to guests, but I did not use that. TO NOTE: there is a good selection of travel brochures available. This was REALLY helpful as we wet to Land Between the Lakes, an excellent nearby nature and outdoor park. The rack at the hotel had the perfect map of that park - very useful as we were off-season and the park's visitor centers were closed. Very convenient location - near !-24, and the restaurants and attractions of town, including the Quilt Museum, Railroad Museum, etc. We'd be very happy to stay here again if we are in the area.

Close to highway so it is easy to access, our room was very quiet and comfortable,fuel and restaurants close by. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff, very helpful with directions to good restaurants and attractions.

The place was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful getting us straightened out with a bad reservation web site. The breakfast room was attractive and the food was very good. Everything worked, tv, microwave, refrigerator, etc. The bathroom and shower were clean with good water pressure.

I would recommend this Best Western. The room was clean with comfy beds. If it wasn't for the extremely slow internet would have given it a 5 star rating. Maybe they were having problems that night but when you sign in it tells you they have a lower speed Internet. B

Stay away!! This place is old and in need of repair. The young guy at the desk was nice enough but he said they were booked for the night and we had a king room, he stated those were all upstairs and no elevator, then he said he could get us on the main floor. First off, just creepy place, kept looking out at the parking lot and only 2 other vehicles were there throughout the night , didn't look booked at all. Our room was dirty, and it looked like a moldy area from a leaking fridge. Next morning breakfast was lukewarm and we were there early. Only 2 other people, not a very friendly breakfast attendant, again, no cars in the lot! Checkout was almost a non verbal interaction, cannot believe Best Western attaches their name to this place. Also there is nothing around for eating, had to travel about 3 miles.

Rooms were clean and had everything we needed for a quick overnight stay while travelling. Right off the exit ramp, first turn and you're there. Exercise room was a little cold but once you start moving it was okay!

First Best Western motel in a while that had carpet in the room…. Very clean. Had to go desk to get hand soap and shampoo. Learned the next day that the man who checked us in was the Manager/owner. Didn't seem to be many guests, but there should be. It wasn't expensive, was very clean and quiet with a good mattress and better than average towels. Well lit parking lot with lots of room. Possible a bit isolated, but just off freeway. Very nice hot breakfast.

This property was easy to find with plenty of parking. Check in was fast. The rooms were very nice and adequately clean. The breakfast area was well appointed with a wide variety of options. The workout room is bare bones with minimal options. The price is competitive.

Always welcomed by friendly staff rooms are ready and clean upon my arrival and breakfast is ready and filling with great brewed coffee. The front desk was very helpful and accommodating especially Spencer who prepares the breakfast area very friendly efficient and makes sure everyone is taken care of.

Booked our room through the Best Western reservation line. Thrilled that this hotel was taking partial payments to use my earned points! Short notice, got us booked when we were only a couple hours out from Paducah! Worked out great as we'd put in a 12+ hour travel day! Great customer service...had a great night's sleep!

First time at this hotel and I can honestly say this is a great place to spend a night or two ( or three!) Check in was a breeze. There is no elevator but it's only a two story hotel so no big deal. Spencer, the clerk I had the most interaction with, was polite, informative and actually an ambassador for the city of Paducah. He actually took the time during breakfast prep to give me a history lesson, point out the sites to see downtown and show a genuine interest in me as a person and not just another traveler. I like that. Personal service is alive and well at this BW! And FYI breakfast was actually quite good ( included in a fair price).

We had 2 dogs and like that Best Western is pet friendly. Also, there was a level II Tesla charger in the parking lot and I love this. I will definitely stay at this hotel when in the area again. Location was great too as it was right by the interstate.

Unfortunately read the reviews too late but they are true! Very bad odor in our room so we moved rooms. Housekeeping issues in both rooms and it appears management is not interested in doing anything about it since there is a thread of the same feedback for quite some time. Not really a value since we paid $135/night even as reward members. Have to give a thank you to the night clerk who allowed us to move rooms (we had prepaid).

I was shocked at the price of this hotel but they get you because not much is around. We were immediately hit with a horrible mildew smell that immediately caused us all to have headaches. Also really needs updating. The bedspread looks really old and questioned the cleanliness of it. Rooms were large and we could take our dogs but would not stay here again. Definitely not worth the over $200 we had to pay with two dogs.

The friendly staff members did whatever they could to ensure that we had a great stay. From the greeting at the front desk to the wishing us a safe trip the next day we couldn't have had a better experience.

The bed was old and not soft. The bedding was old and stiff. The towels were scratchy. The air conditioning does not work, or makes weird noises. There is no fan in the bathroom and it smells of gasoline. The noise from outside, from rooms next to you, and the hallway is super loud and will keep you up all night. The shades do not block the lights from vehicles at the gas station or highway next to it. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. DO NOT STAY HERE, there are too many other options close by.

This was my first time staying at this hotel. I could not believe how clean and quiet it was. Keirstin was a sweetheart. She was super friendly and helpful and made sure I had everything I needed. She also explained the map layout for me to get to my room with ease. That is going above and beyond. This is probably the most reasonably priced in the area. I would definitely stay here again

Would have been great had Spencer not forgot to replennish eggs, coffee, and butter. The room did smell like someone had smoked in it at some point. The sweet young lady at the desk was the redeeming part of our stay, she tried her best to make up for what went wrong.

Fridge was unplugged and we weren't aware. We lost most of our food. Management said nothing at checkout. No apology. Breakfast was biscuits and gravy or make your own waffle. Juice was watered down. Napkins (paper towels) laying out on each table for your convenience? Ceiling light was out in our bathroom. Outdoor pool was pool, chairs up against the wall - We will not be returning…

This is a nice hotel! It's quiet and easy to find. Cats allowed which was great as we travel with our adventure cat! The room was a pet friendly with no pet hair from previous guests and their dog or cat. Big plus was breakfast was fantastic! Would definitely return!

Nice hotel, clean and breakfast was good only could use hot eggs and bagels. Don't care for biscuits and gravy. More variety of sweet rolls or danish would be nice also. Front desk clerk very nice and accommodating

Perhaps one of the top motels that we have stayed in in years. The desk clerk when we checked in was pleasant, knowledgeable and quick. The room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. The wifi was excellent, and this could have been the best breakfast we have had in a motel. Since we make several trips to visit relatives and usually go through Paducah, this will be our stopping place.

The Best Western Paducah Inn is one of the better BWs we've visited in recent months. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. The breakfast offers are pretty typical BW fare but the hot food is hot and the dining area is comfortable. For the price, this Best Western is a real value. Hotel access just off of I-24 is easy and quick...a real plus when arriving late in the evening. The night agent we had was welcoming, professional and efficient.

Small hotel (2 stories) not in the heart of everything but good price for the night. It was just a quick overnight for us. Easy parking and close to rooms. Breakfast was good and had a lot of options to take with us (bananas, granola bars, yogurt) which I really appreciate since I don't usually want breakfast first thing in the morning.

I wish it had an elevator but over all, it was a good stay. It's right off I24, exit 11. There's a convenience store right next door and another across the street. I was able to make same day reservations, which was great since it was a spur of the moment trip.

The room was clean, spacious, well arranged. The heating/cooling unit worked well and quietly. The large bathroom was very helpful as I am disabled. The beds were comfortable. Electrical outlets were numerous and in convenient locations. Overall a perfect room.

The hotel was well maintained and very clean. Easy access off of the highway and just outside of the main town. Staff was extremely friendly. The price was great. The breakfast that is offered is typical of this type of hotel . I would stay again when back in the area.

Conveniently located off Interstate. Breakfast was decent. Nothing special. Clean, comfortable room. We were there later, so it was a 10 minute drive to open restaurants. Cheddars restaurant was reasonable with very good ribs.

Easy check in. Very friendly staff. Large squeaky clean room with unexpected extras: two easy chairs AND a desk chair, two luggage racks, a safety bar next to the bathtub in a very modern bathroom, plenty of plug ins for phones, etc, plenty of towels. Bed pillows were exceptionally comfortable. As other reviews have noted, convenient to the interstate and nice breakfast choices and very quiet.

Nice hotel. Very clean. Beds were very comfortable and a good breakfast. It was right off the freeway so was easy to get to. But didn't have hot water the night we stayed but had it fixed in the morning.

We stayed at BW - Paducah in October 2022. We called after having a blow-out and needing to fix our tire. They were helpful finding a tire shop in the area and quick to give us directions. We were able to get our tire repaired and relax in the room. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast included fruit, cereal, hard-boiled eggs, sausage, biscuits/gravy and waffles. The parking lot was safe and well lighted. It was an Extremely easy on/off the freeway.

Not expecting great but at least a bit better.Bed was kinda uncomfortable.Needed more heavier blanket. Always room for improvement. Breakfast really lacks needs more offered items. No choice on bakery items or hot items not everyone likes biscuits and gravy just my thoughts. Needed bagles,muffins, more breads.Cereal

stopped again at this location while traveling; no roadway noise , excellent room with confortable bed will stay again. Nice hot & cold breakfast items. Pool was closed. Helpful & pleasant staff. Had room 101 only thing we heard was people getting ice from machine

This hotel is in major need of renovations. It is clearly falling apart and needs a lot of love. I only stayed here one night while driving across the county and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. I specified in my reservation that I needed a pet-friendly room as I was traveling with my 2 dogs. I asked for a first floor room because one of my dogs is a senior dog and cannot walk up and down stairs very well. When I checked in, the front desk staff was clueless about the dogs and my request. She was going to put us on the second floor (with no elevator). Also, she advised that it would be $25/per dog which is NOT what is stated on Best Western's website. It says $25/day. I told her I would not have booked this hotel if it was $25/dog and if that is the case, they need to CLEARLY state that on their website like every other hotel's website. And don't get me started on the odor not only in the hotel, but in my room. It was extremely musty and very humid which is a horrible combination. I felt so gross just being in this room that I could not check out fast enough the next morning. I even skipped a shower because I wanted to get out. The hotel served the purpose as we just needed a place to sleep while on the road, but I would never stay here again.

We read the reviews so were a bit apprehensive but we were very happy we stayed here. The room was very clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was decent We would stay here again.

Worst hotel experience ever! The breakfast was advertised as full and was a mediocre continental at best! The pool, which is why we stayed there, was closed but nothing about that on the website. The air conditioning was terrible! We couldn't get our room cool! The staff is incompetent! They charged me twice for the room and when I called them for a refund, they charged me a third time! I had to call the corporate office to get ANY help and the money still hasn't been refunded! I would sleep in my car before staying there again!

On our way back from Illinois, we stopped for an overnight at this hotel. We usually stay at best Best Westerns because they're usually good as far as being clean and safe. This particular hotel was adequate but the room had a terrible odor that kept me awake all night. I would not recommend staying here when there are other good choices in the area.

We've stayed here before, and keep coming back. This summer we stayed twice, once on the way to NC and once on the way home. The location is fantastic - just off the exit. The rooms are great, too. Extremely clean, big room with a sofa, which is nice. Great shower with great water pressure. The breakfast seemed nice, but I can't eat till 10am, so I didn't get to try it. My husband said it was good. The place is so quiet! It was like we were the only ones here. We love walking laps around the outside of the building in the evening. Last night the sunset was incredible. The only down side was that there's no elevator. So, if you can't do stairs, ask for the ground floor.

We stayed 2 different nights on our way to the Smokies for vacation. Ease of pre booking (direct) great location, and parking our room was great comfortable and clean well stocked. Front desk were so very nice and accommodating. Will stay here anytime I am in the area

this is a nice place to stay if you are attending quilt week in paducah. it is about a 10 minute ride to downtown where all the events are. the only thing that could have made it better was if it had been on the shullte route so that we could have taken the bus back and forth every day.

If you get up at 4am this place might be for you ....if not, look elsewhere. One of many problems is the self closing door arms at the top of each door cause the doors to slam shut. When the doors slam shut they chatter in the door jams and they are extremely loud..!! I noticed alot of big rig trucks in the parking lot and the drivers need to get up early and go to work. From 4am until 9am non stop slamming doors, and its not the guests problem, as each has their own schedule to keep, its poor quality closures, metal doors against metal door jams, in a long narrow hallway, and you are going to hear every one of them...!!!

I am a BW rewards member and wanted to take advantage of a recent promotion so was more than willing to book a room there looking at the 4 plus rating. What a mistake. I question if the people who complimented the hotels cleanliness and friendly staff really stayed here. First strike was when I called to make the reservation, a child answered the telephone. During the call the child had access to the keypad and proceeded to blast my ear with loud dial tones. The front desk clerk was not overly friendly at checkin. Our room was no where near being clean. The dust on the tables and vanity table was thick. The floor was sticky and when I checked the bottom of my slippers after our one night stay they were coated with something sticky and covered in dog hair. Our room was on the side of the building close to the highway and the noise of trucks passing over the overpass was very bothersome. The one saving grace was that the beds were very comfortable and with ear plugs we were able to get a good night's sleep. There are too many reputable hotels in Paducah. Don't settle for this one.

We were passing through on our way to Florida and this Best Western was the perfect fit for us. We called ahead and the room was waiting for us. Excellent location, Nice clean rooms, friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Another PLUS was a BP gas station right next door which is the brand we like to use. THANK YOU VERY MUCH !!!!!!!!!!!

Great customer service, clean, quiet and comfortable rooms. We were in need of an early check- in and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. The room was very clean which is most important to me.

This Best Western is a bit off the beaten path but was such a comfort after a long drive. It's not a Ritzy downtown Nashville hotel but a wonderful and comfortable stop along the way. They are so accommodating and wonderful that you feel like an important person when you walk in even before they find out your status. I Highly recommend this as a stop. We were driving back and forth to St. Louis and stayed there on the back and forth and will continue to stay there on our travels to MO.

This hotel is exceptional in cleanliness. The pet friendly room had no evidence of pervious "guests"!! The staff are very friendly, and are attentive to making sure their guests are comfortable and have all their needs met. I will be using this facility every time I make the trip through the Illinois/Florida corridor.

This hotel was very clean. Janny at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast was adequate for this type of hotel. I was very pleased that the hotel immediately called me to inform me that I had left a personal electronic item behind. However the subsequent lack of followup from the hotel after getting this info resulted in a less than perfect review. After repeated calls and promises that my item would be sent to me, I finally got a hold of the manager who made me jump through hoops to get the item returned including sending them a prepaid envelope in another envelope. I would have been happy to have the postage put on my credit card from the beginning instead of being misled. Other than this mishap, I would recommend this hotel but make sure you don't leave any items behind.

We stopped to see the National Quilt Museum. It is more of an art gallery where the medium is quilts. It is impressive and worth the visit. The hotel is right off the interstate but it was quiet. It looks like the rooms and hallways were newly refurbished. The breakfast was good. Biscuits and gravy, waffles, fresh fruit, cereal and pastries. Overall a great stay.

This Best Western is the best. It is always neat, clean, and very accommodating. Easy access from expressway. Love and enjoy staying here. My family has stayed at this same Best Western for past 10 years at the same time every year.

Bed was rock hard and ceiling texture was falling down in the bathroom. The shower was big and comfortable. Breakfast was your basic continental. Could have received the same amenities at a budget hotel for half the price.

From outside I noticed shredded curtains in a window. Bad sign. Inside hallways smelled like musty urine. Our room/sheets were very damp. There was paint peeling off ceiling in shower. The pool was quite cloudy and area around it was unkempt. The shower and sink were the high points.

This Best Western Inn was perfect for our overnight stay while in town for a wedding. Very clean and well run by a friendly staff at the front desk and on the phone who were very professional and friendly as we had questions they answered and we were able to get early check in as well. Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend it for anyone needing to stay in the area.

A good choice for one night's stay while passing through - very reasonably priced and clean, if a little worn. The breakfast choices were limited but altogether a good choice for the area and would stay here again.

I would NOT recommend this Best Western! I usually only stay at Best Western when traveling (because I know what to expect) but the best western at Paducah KY gave me pause on staying at best western in the future. Not only was it too high priced for having no elevator and no breakfast (apparently they ran out at 8am), but they didn't give us a discount for being a best western rewards member!

After being stuck in road work traffic On Friday evening June 11, 2021 We were ready to get off the road and get a night's sleep We called ahead and asked if they had rooms available and were told they had many. We asked if they had a hot breakfast and they stated they did! So, we pulled into Best western and checked in for the night. The smell of some kind of air freshener was overwhelming as we entered the hallway, all the way into the room. Being a retired medical professional I recognized it as odor ban or one of the industrial odor covers, The bathroom looked dirty as in caked on dirt on floors and fixtures. I guessed they did clean but just sprayed! We got some sleep and in the morning went to the lobby to try and get a breakfast. There was Coffee and orange juice!!! That was all!! That was the free hot breakfast! This place is run by far east Indians and it is a real dump!! Don't stay here!

We feel like we got catfished by this hotel. Photos of it online look great, recent reviews were great. Everything seemed great online. Until we showed up. The hotel looks nothing like the photos. It is definitely dated. Our room very mediocre and dirty! There was a “body hair” on our bathroom counter and the couch in our room was horrid! I couldn't imagine sitting on it. It was so bad I wouldn't even put our bag on it. The desk area was just as filthy. I wanted to leave and go to another hotel, my husband wanted to as well but we ultimately decided the bed was clean so we could suffer through for a few hours since we were leaving early the next morning. Also this hotel had NO ELEVATOR! So it is NOT ADA compliant. So if you are disabled avoid this hotel. If you have a lot of luggage or heavy luggage be prepared to lug it up a staircase with 20 stairs. The positives of the hotel is that the staff were nice and the mini fridge in the room had a freezer, a full size freezer which was perfect since I was traveling with medical grade ice packs for prescription medications. The freezer was actually the main reason we decided to stay because we needed to refreeze the ice packs.

It is hard in a sense to assign a star count. The hotel was clean and attractive. Strategies were in place for COVID safety. Check in and check out were fast and easy. Our room also clean and attractive overall. I did catch an initial whiff of cigarette smoke as we entered, and it was a non-smoking room, but that may have come from another room? However. The room was stuffy and too hot with The a/c on and set to 70. A single press of the temp control dropped it to 59. The ceiling paint in the shower was peeling badly, but the bathroom was very clean. The bathroom door stuck badly. The fridge hummed so loudly I had to unplug it so we could sleep. I wasn't aware of outside noise from the parking lot or road, but the interior walls seemed very thin, and conversation taking place outside our room as other guests passed sounded like they were in our entry area. Fortunately, no one was loud or having a late night party so we were able to get to sleep after awhile.

Be careful w/reserving room here as there is no elevator leading to second floor. Only stairs. Staff was not all that friendly. Rooms ok but there is a strong order of cigarette smoke in hall. Not very soundproof rooms either. Heard lots of noise from hall.

All was good. There were no problems. We enjoyed our short stay. They used a portable room heater and it worked great. Check in and check out was very easy. We did not take advantage of the breakfast, if there was something.

Location was just outside of the main traffic areas and I did not hear interstate noise. Wonderful staff, room and beds were comfortable and clean, with basic decor updates. Large TV and mini frig always a plus. Seems like Best Western has changed its bed pillows and they are too thick for me. This Paducah location did not have pillows as thick as I have had them at other locations.

It is a very easy place to visit with a nice simple design for parking and quiets night sleep. The hotel offers a great bridge in my family's travels to warmer climates. We know where it's at and we know it will be available with no surprises

The room was mostly clean, albeit in ill repair. The only toiletries in the room was a soap and a conditioner. BED WAS COMFORTABLE. Couldn't get into the workout room at just after 10 PM although it says that it's open 24 hrs, and the frontdesk person couldn't either. She told me that she would call me when she got it open. She never got it open, thus no call to even let me know that she couldn't get it open. NO COFFEE in the morning!!! It's the small things that set a mediocre property apart from one that you walk away from feeling refreshed and like your $100 was well spent. It is just MEDIOCRE.

Very disappointed in this hotel. Lobby was closed...check in through a window. Traveling with my 2 dogs and they charged me $25 plus taxes for each dog. Room looked clean but did not smell fresh. No restaurants nearby...only fast food couple miles away. This hotel is located on outskirts of Paducah. Did not measure up to other BW hotels on my trip. I would not recommend.

My Husband and I stayed at this Paducah Ky Best Western, and despite the bad reviews, we are glad we did. It's clean, and good for the price. The room was clean, the AC worked VERY WELL, which we are grateful for that, the bed was comfy, the pillows aren't the best, but no big deal,the bathroom was clean and I LOVE the sink! The wifi worked great, the staff/owners are amazing! It did have a slight mildew smell when you first walk in, but it goes away quickly. We will definitely stay again on our way through Paducah.

My family and I reserved two hotel rooms. At first sight the rooms looked decent, but there was a slight mildew odor to the rooms. Additionally the floors were sticky and gross (for both rooms we reserved). I found several small hairs in my bathroom. We decided to leave after the first night there and stay somewhere else. Additionally, I left some clothes hanging on the bathroom door. I called to inquire about the missing clothes and the manager was rude and said he didn't have them. I even drove back to get them and met with another concierge who let me check the room and they were gone still. Clearly they threw them away. Thank goodness I didn't leave my diamond earrings there! Trust me when I say there are much better places to stay at!

Very friendly staff, clean rooms. We used Express checkout which was very convenient. Only issue, if paying with cash they require a $250 deposit on a credit card to pay cash, so you are better off to pay with a credit card.

Very nice clean hotel with a good breakfast. Very friendly staff. The address given to us and that we used on our GPS took us to a farm field. I then put in Beat Western and it took us across the highway to the correct location. We should have seen it but we're looking in the wrong side. So beware of that. Otherwise a very nice hotel.

We stayed here on our way through Kentucky. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was bigger than most. The staff was friendly. It is easy to get to off the highway but there are no restaurants close by. We had to drive 2-3 miles for dinner and there weren't a lot of choices.

Do not stay here. They require a $250 deposit but do not tell you until after you've paid for the room. Night manager was very rude. Will never stay at this hotel ever again. It's also dark and dingy, does not smell very clean.

The hotel is very conveniently located close to the freeway yet not close enough for the noise to bother the guests. Very nice staff, clean, comfortable room and a nice breakfast in the morning. On top of it a great value. What more can you ask for?

Everything was excellent! This was the Best “ Best Western Hotel” I have ever seen! Modern and up up to date. The shower is walk in with heavy glass doors! And the staff was outstanding too! I highly recommend it...... It even has a pool.

Hotel is cheap and convenient price is low remember overall you get what you pay for don't expect BW Premier quality but for over all it is a decent price and is average quality. But need improvement compare to some other BW. I give it a 4 because overall price was low and you get a above average room and BW standard benefit.

Best Western is always my choice to stay. Have never had a cleanliness or rudeness problems. We were a little surprised at the lack of food availability. We were directed 2 miles down the road for food.

Checked in late or early depending on your point of view. Check in was quick and easy. Do not disturb sign worked well. The room was neat and clean. Really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was available but we did not take advantage. We did get their coffe which was wonderful.

We stopped here on our way to the ocean. This is a great value. The lobby was decorated for the happy holidays. Room was clean. Breakfast was good. We would stay again. Maybe even on our way home. Thanks.

Rooms were clean. Staff was very friendly. The young man at the front desk went above and beyond help with his accompanying me when I needed to switch rooms. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. I would recommend it.

This was a random pick for us. We needed a place that accepted dogs, and this was in a good location. The handicap room, however, was not available for dogs, so we ended up with a double. Um, what about those who need handicap rooms, and need service dogs??? The room was decent/average. Beds were kind of hard. As chilly as it was outside, we couldn't get the room cool enough, and the window wouldn't open. Breakfast was the usual - waffles are what my husband wants, and he was obliged.

We rolled in here near dark on day 12 of a 15 day road trip. We were a bit dubious as this is an older hotel and we saw some areas outside that could use some touch up paint. We checked out the room first, and found it very nice. Had we read the negative reviews first, we would have kept driving, so I am glad we did not. Our room was quiet, clean, and appeared to have been recently redecorated. The bathroom was beautiful. Breakfast was a typical BW or Hampton breakfast and we had no complaints. The staff was very friendly. As we left the next morning, it was a rainy, damp day, and I did catch a whiff of the musty hall odor mentioned in other reviews. But our room had no odor, and we were very satisfied with our stay. You will have to drive up to Exit 11 to find dinner, but there are lots of choices there.

The location is off the highway and easy to get to downtown Paducah which makes it easy to explore the city for meal options. Service at the front desk was great and the options for breakfast was good that even included ripe fresh fruit.

I have stayed at this hotel in Paducah on 3 occasions over the last 11 months and I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. The staff is very nice and the manager goes over and above to accommodate the guests.

I have stayed at other travel inns over the years but find Best Western to be the best bargain for the money. I have found that the rooms are always clean and the inns have a very nice and courteous staff.

I booked this hotel day of stay and was very pleased. It was clean, bright and staff was great. I needed toothpaste and they had it. Also called after I was in my room to see how satisfied I was. I had difficulty with tv and they brought a new remote and worked to fix it. I would definitely stay here again in future.

Very clean, modern hotel Staff is very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the gazebo area. While I didn't use it, the grill area by gazebo is a nice addition for travelers. Highly recommend this hotel. Thank you!

Very nice rooms, quiet, clean staff very helpful. Would stay here again if I come that way. The tv was bigger than most motel tv and the tv cable service very good. The breakfast there was very good nice and hot, nice variety, and clean area to eat at. They made sure you had everything you needed.

We stayed at this location several years ago to attend a quilt conference in Paducah. As we were returning for this year's conference we booked 4 nights in advance of our arrival. The inn had some pleasant updates mostly decorating. As I was experiencing a foot injury and this location has no elevator to its 2nd floor I specifically requested a room on the main floor eliminating stairs. This accommodation was granted. Thank you.

The hallway smelled of dirty nasty mold. They put us in room 118 and OMG the disgusting urine smell made my eyes water. This is the WORST best western I've ever stayed in. Will NEVER stay here again! The rooms looked newly painted but the carpets were just plain gross with all kinds of stains and looked like they hadn't been vacuumed. There were bugs and white powder stuff on the floor. This place is NOT the best western quality I've ever stayed in. I travel for a living and will NEVER stay here again. Do yourself a favor go a few more miles down the road to a MUCH better hotel that doesnt stink!

Just keep driving to Exit 4, where you get a much better hotel for less money. Checked in the hotel and the smell in the Hallways was that of mold and mildew, old musty dirty. We walk into our room and the smell of cigarette smoke was overwhelming. We went to the My husband went to the front desk and reported it all he got was "I'm sorry" I went to the front desk and handed a bottle of Clorox room spray and was told to bring it back when I was done. WHAT? The bathroom sink had black hair in the drain, the shower had mold on the shower curtain, the drapes on the curtains were torn and dirty. We left for a night out and upon return, the room still smelled like smoke!!! Again complained and again so sorry I will talk to my manager. I hope we do not get the computerized standard reply " We are sorry, call me directly BS that is spewed to everyone else who has hade a complaint.. no, I am taking this to the National Headquarters in Phoenix AZ. The Best Western was very clean and well maintained. The rooms were very spacious and the hot breakfast was perfect with many varieties such as sausage, scrambled eggs, waffles, and bacon. Parking is well lit and safe. Manager was on duty at the time of check-in and was extremely friendly.

I had reserved a room and upon check in I was told the rest of the hotel was full. Check in went smoothly, desk clerk was very nice. While walking down the hallway to my room I noticed a strong foul smelling, musty odor. The smell was weak in my room, but the room was very run down and filthy. There numerous stains and cigarette burns in the carpeting, even though this was supposed to be a smoke free hotel. There was mold/mildew on the torn shower curtain. The curtains/valances were stained with who knows what, and there were cobwebs hanging from them. The refrigerator had been turned off and was warm, the freezer section had standing water in it from defrosting. It was useless from my standpoint so I kept my perishable items in my cooler instead of the refrigerator. When I turned on the TV I had video but no audio. After I tried troubleshooting it I contacted the front desk and they came down to assist me with the volume. They were not able to fix the problem and since there were no other rooms available I did not have the option of moving. Throughout the night there was an intermittent high pitched noise that seemed to be coming from the air conditioning equipment by the window. This kept me awake for most of the night. In the morning I found bugs in the room and even captured one and brought it to the front desk and asked to speak with the manager. I relayed all of the issues with the desk clerk and she even went to my room with me and verified all of my concerns. The desk clerk told me the manager was running late and would be there by 8:30. I waited in the lobby for the manager until the desk clerk told me the manager had just spoken with her and told her he was running even later and would not be there until 9:00. I asked the desk clerk to have the manager contact me by phone as soon as he arrived, left the bug with her to give to the manager, and I then checked out of the hotel. I waited until 9:30 then I called the hotel and requested to speak with the manager. The desk clerk verified she had given him the message to contact me, the bug I left for him, and informed him of all the problems I had encountered. When I spoke with the manager he didn't seem to care about my problems. He told me he would make an adjustment to my bill, but would not tell me how much. I requested full refund for the amount paid and he refused. His adjustment ended up to be only a 25% refund.

Stayed here before and the staff made up for the shortcomings of the actual structure. Not this time. I don't think I saw a single smile from any staff member and I almost felt like I was intruding. The room was definitely not clean. Not sure why there was a hanger laying on the floor. Also saw a plastic spoon and a straw cover between the nighstand and the bed and spills on the nightstand. I'm not even going to discuss what I cleaned out of the tub before we used it. We checked in fairly late and I was too tired to move. The next day we tried to get in the hotel and our keys didn't work so I had to trudge around the hotel in the rain to find out why. Even though we had checked in for multiple days, they showed us checked out and asked if we were extendng our stay. Breakfast was nothing out of the ordinary and most of the food was lukewarm unless you stirred it before getting your food. They had a good selection of teas which I really appreciated. After leaving I realized I had left something in the room. I called and they said housekeeping hadn't turned it in and if that happened they would contact me. Every other hotel where that has happened, someone checked immediately to see if the item was still there. Best Western is my usual hotel of choice. We make several trips a year to this area and I'm not sure we'll stay at this one again.

This hotel has a very bad odor hallways and rooms .. AC units don't work well and rooms are dirty . Food was cold .. the price was high for the type of room .. carpet had cigarette burns and dirty curtains

The rooms were clean enough, though the sink barely drained (and I forgot to report it when we checked out). We were able to eliminate most of the light, with which we cannot sleep well. There was an odd smell in the corridor, but it was not in the room. The area was quiet through the night (no traffic sounds), but any sound in the corridor could be heard, from doors opening and closing to people talking, even in hushed tones. Breakfast was the same old same old: Sausage patties, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffle machine, two juices, half-way decent coffee, but little in the way of pastries.

When we checked in the Manager gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant that night which was great food. The hotel seemed recently updated, was freshly painted and clean. The pool was great place to cool down. There was an outside covered area to sit and enjoy the night. The breakfast was not warm and the shower curtain was moldy and needed replaced but overall was a nice hotel especially for the price.

Stayed overnight on our way to Alabama. We went into town for dinner, very cute town an but on the hipster side. Hotel was very clean, staff was friendly. My only comment would be it's an older building that was remodel well, which had no impact on comfort. Breakfast was standard Best Western and the staff was very polite and helpful.

To begin, the room itself was okay. However, the tv didn't work. A gentleman came up and “fixed” it. It worked for about 20. The sink in the bathroom stopped up each time we used it. I had to wash the shower down to get all of the hair that was left on it. Additionally, there was a stain on the top of the sheet that I noticed in the morning. Breakfast was only adequate as many items were empty. Lastly, the pool area was so overrun by spiders that we could not use the pool.

Avoid if possible! Strident warnings against pets and smoking have obviously been ignored by previous guests and rooms and halls bear witness to the past presence of cats and cigarettes. Our room even had a puppy size piddle stain on the carpet. Breakfast was good and the staff was very pleasant, but that can't make up for the dampness and foul odors.

I checked in very late to stop driving after a long day on the road. The room and bathroom were clean. The pillows were a little small for a king size bed. The shower was a hand held and the drain was slow. The breakfast is served 6-9 a.m. When I got there a little after 8 they were out of gravy for the biscuits and there wasn't any fresh fruit. If you need a place to pull off the highway and sleep it works.

Very nice hotel!. This property appears to have been recently renovated / updated. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean. The wi-fi is fast and reliable and also has an ethernet connection. There is a large dirt/gravel lot offering dedicated parking for semis with trailers. The only drawback is there are no eateries close by so if you want hot food you will have stop at a place before arriving or order delivery. Enthusiastic thumbs up for this property.

We stayed at this hotel overnight on our way home from vacation. It appears to be brand new inside and out. Nice large room, nice bath area with a green glass sink! Walls were a little thin so some noise, but definitely would recommend this hotel. Nice breakfast included with your room fee. Try it!

You gotta love Paducah. Not the amiable small city, but just the name. Something that rolls off the tongue and sticks in the brain, just waiting for a song plugger's inspiration. No one even seems to know where it came from: one fanciful suggestion was that it was the name of a Comanche Chief or his tribe, but that turns out to be as made-up as a Hollywood Western. The Best Western itself also suits a mug's image. Its curb appeal is on a par with a cement block truck stop. But its location, just off the Interstate, upgraded furnishings (including a rare, sauna-sized walk-in shower), welcoming desk staff, hearty home-made breakfast buffet, and fussy country housekeeping should put it at the top of the pack for Best Western's brisk new lineup of affordable, appealing overnight stays. There's also Harned's, a stand-alone popular barbecue drive-in a bridge and a turn away that's so popular with the locals that the evening cars line up around the block. So where's Paducah's sucker punch? I enjoyed the first night so much that I came back a week later for a second, in fact, one of the best night's rests I've ever had on the road. It's an owner's problem: the gym equipment is so new it's right out of the packing crate. But no one on hand seems to know how to use it: it takes two remotes to make the flat screen work and the elliptical machine malfunctioned. We know that five, no more than 10 per cent of drivers ever use the gym, but that small faithful workout group is too often disappointed by the "fitness centers" seem to be as useless as an outhouse and my guess is amazingly grateful and loyal when they do deliver. Now here's the Paducah Punch. Same weekday, same room, one week later. My room charge had jumped 20%. I'm used to graduation weekends and conference meetings that can book out a location and rates jump. But this front desk offered an excuse that sounded more like a commodities trade: we change rates daily. The Romans have been doing this bait and switch for centuries: it's called Caveat Emptor ("Buyer Beware"), so book ahead and get a confirmed rate. Or you might find yourself "Paducahed" . That's not Comanche (or Latin).

Very nice stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hot breakfast was above average. The staff was helpful and courteous. Very easy to find from the highway with easy access on and off. We enjoyed our stay.

This is a very nice hotel that has been updated and the rooms are quite large and very clean. Everything works well in the room. The breakfast featured egg and canadian bacon instead of the usual scrambled eggs and sausage, so that was a treat. Just a great hotel. Quiet also.

good hotel for sleep fairly new facility did not understand why no elevator in a two story building ? very quite area good for sleep just a tad out of town but other wise a great placed to get recharged for the next day of business

From the minute we walked in the door until the time we left, every staff member we met was super friendly and helpful. The staff definitely makes this hotel. I'm a BW member and we try to stay at their hotels whenever possible. Our bed was very comfortable. They provide regular chairs for reading or watching TV instead of the wooden dining chairs. The hotel appears to have had some updates but there are some improvements that could be made. The sink was very pretty but had little surface area for placing toiletries. I was fine but most of my female friends and relatives would not have nearly enough room to put all their stuff. I liked the walk-in shower but the door opened on the opposite side from the towel rack making it difficult to grab your towel without dripping all over the place. The breakfast was a typical hot breakfast. Kudos to this hotel for providing a regular hot water spigot for those of us who drink tea. The location is a bit out of town but it was very quiet and is very conveniet to 24 so it was easy to get back to Paducah. We would stay there again.

I am a BW member, so I have stayed in a lot of the hotels, however, this one is not up to BW standards. We stayed in room 108, and once we walked in, we immediately looked at each other and asked what the smell was about. We found some type of powder on the floor, a disgusting and unchanged pillowcase, and 3 Cocoa Puffs on the floor. I turned in the gross pillow and pillowcase, for all new clean pillow cases, since they all smelled. We would have left but we purposely stayed here for the promotion of one free night and we knew we would only be here from 6pm-6am. The only plus regarding this hotel was the guy who checked us in.

Efficient check in and out. The breakfast had a good selection and very tasty. Employees were efficient and friendly. The rooms were very clean and quiet. The location was very easy to access from the hughway.

We booked through the national reservation line, then learned that the rooms were discounted at the hotel. The hotel would not lower the rate and we are supposed to be "guaranteed" best rate. The hotel was okay, otherwise.

We were a one night stay on a trip down south. Wonderful staff and easy access location just off the interstate. The staff is helpful, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Had a great stay and will most definitely return here. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Thanks!

I don't think I've ever been fortunate enough to deal with so many nice, caring and friendly people at one property. Beginning with Nikki who made the reservation, Wayman who recommended good restaurants, Amy who was so pleasant and Raj who kept our room very clean.

Stopped on trip. The room was large, king bed was comfortable, plenty of pillows. Nice bathroom/shower. Couch and table. Internet adequate. Breakfast was typical with waffle machine, eggs and bacon, sausage and biscuits. Folks nice at front desk. If there was any drawback, they don't have elevators, but it's only two stories. Might affect some.

I have never posted a review and the only reason I am posting now is to give a huge shout out to Nicki! My husband and I stay in hotels about 10 nights a month and she was by far the friendliest and kind night clerk we have me in a long time. Thank you Nicki for going above and beyond!

Average property, that should try at least to get return customers given their location, It is located on the highway but about 7 or 8 miles from town.However their is a good Harley dealer across the interstate at the same exit.

Arrived 7:15pm on Oct 20, 2018 and was really excited to watch my college football team for the night. Thanks to the wonderful TV with only a manual on/off switch and xfinity cable provider, the remote would not work. Well, one hour ten minutes later, after my third call to the front desk, the only person on staff shows up to my room. After three trips in and out of the room, we finally have service. Ok, so time to go to bed. What is the new sheet system they put on beds that makes you feel cold all night because you have no comforter/bedspread. Should I call it the lack of comfort system. Mattress also was not acceptable and the pillows did a number on knocking my neck out of place. Ok, time to get up, can't take tossing and turning anymore. My wife gets in the shower a little before 5:00 am, and pulls up on the diverter valve and it falls apart so we cannot take a shower now. Call the front desk for service, sorry maintenance man doesn't get to work until 7:00am, oh wait, he doesn't work on Sunday. They have no outside service they call under these circumstances and they also will not provide a refund for their poor performance. Would not recommend this establishment to anyone. Do not like this style sink either. Love that cover at the foot end of the bed for keeping my arms warm.

hotel looks new, great staff, no problems with anything. not that i used it but first time i have seen a tesla charging station at a best western, good location, a block or so from the interstate, quiet area of town

Resturants aren't terribly close but the front desk person gave us direction to some local places so that was a nice change from the chains. Quiet area, clean rooms and helpful staff. Stayed on the way to the in-laws house and would stay again

It's sufficient but far from most eateries. The hotel is average the AC is loud. The staff is pleasant but the breakfast is not good. There is not an elevator so you'll have to haul your things upstairs.

I was passing through town. Arrived late night. Staff was available and helpful. Room was quiet and clean. Bed was very comfortable. The free breakfast was free. I don't know if there is anything in this are to warrant staying multiple nights but if you are passing through town, this is a great place to stop for some down time.

The staff is very friendly and make you feel welcome. Great breakfast. I stayed a week. breakfast was a little different every day. Real scrabble eggs and sausage. biscuits and gravy. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. The pillows were not. But overall yes good value.

We spent three nights here to explore the region. It was one of the best hotels on our trip. Both Check in and out were pleasant and and efficient. The decor of the hotel is very warm and inviting. The room and the entire hotel was spotless and clean. Breakfast was fantastic featuring hand cracked eggs and a wide assortment of foods. I highly recommend this hotel.

I chose this hotel for an overnight on a road trip. The place appears to have been recently renovated- check out the trendy green glass sink in the bathroom picture- and the room decor looked new. Please note, though, that there's no elevator. If mobility is an issue, ask for a first-floor room. The nice young man at the front desk carried some of my stuff up the stairs (even though I told him it wasn't necessary) since I couldn't do it all in one trip. Room had a refrigerator and microwave. Bathroom was typical shower over tub modular unit. The hotel is right off the highway. There's not much in the immediate area except a couple of gas stations with convenience stores but about 3 miles down the road there's a retail area with Kroger, Wal-Mart and some restaurants. The gym had little ventilation and a motion-activated light system that shut off because apparently it couldn't detect my elliptical trainer workout! I had to move the elliptical trainer (dang, it was HEAVY) so the machine next to it wouldn't poke me in the stomach. The exercise bike didn't work at all. No water cooler, no towels but you could get them in the pool area. (Beware- you can't get back into the gym from the pool area even with a key card.) The pool, after all that, was really refreshing and good for swimming laps. It's outdoor only. Breakfast was good- scrambled eggs, sausages, and a good assortment of the usual items including hard-boiled eggs, yogurt and fresh bananas and apples.

We used this hotel for an overnight stay in route to our destination and it fit out needs for a lower cost spot. The rooms were adequately sized, comfortable, clean although the hallway had a bit of a musty odor could hear people walking in the room above. Breakfast was included and appreciated that real fried eggs were available (pre-made). While conveniently located next to Interstate 24, it is on the outskirts of Paducah and a bit remote. No restaurants or other attractions within walking distance other than gas station. You may also want to note that this is a two story facility with no elevator. Make sure a first floor room is available if you have mobility challenges or lots of belongings to bring to your room.

Our family stayed here one night during our 4000+ mile road trip. We debated between 3 and 4 circles, and finally decided on 3. Pros - •The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. •The breakfast had a decent variety and was quite yummy. •The room and hotel in general was clean. Cons - •The AC did not work properly. •The room smelled musty. •The in room refrigerator did not work. •In a room for 4 people, there were only 3 towels. •The faucet sprayed water everywhere when turned on. •No elevator... lugging suitcases up and down the stairs was difficult with kids in tow.

Our room was really nice. The bathroom was clean and we'll laid out. The pool was well kept and clean. Great hot breakfast and nice staff. Free parking with multiple entry doors. The location was very close to the interstate and easy to find

We were travelled thru, and we had to stop for the night, our room smelled so bad, that we asked to change rooms, I asked the front desk attendant to come and smell it, since he was giving me a doubtful looks. The hallways also smelled so bad, and later we saw the attendant walking around with a plunger. The room had the look of clean room, however looking closely you can see how dirty the carpet is. The chair in the room had cuts in it, and you can see the filling coming out. I had a hard time sleeping, because the sheets and the pillow cases didn't smell good, and obviously they don't change them unless the have to. The breakfast was just as bad, with some tiny old bagels and English muffins, I didn't try to check out the rest. Who ever was cleaning in the morning, left small piles of swiped dirt by the wall in the whole way. It is a shame since Best Western used to be a good motels. I don't think I will ever stay in any Best Western again.

Stayed one night in king room ground level. Has a Tesla destination charger, worked great. Had to have super nice Ln day at front desk Nicki, turn it on. Bed was comfortable. Although room was non smoking, hall smelled very smoky and air conditioner smelled smoky when it came on. It didnt have a continuous run mode, so would wake me up when it would cycle on/off. A very nice hot breakfast served in modern lobby. Very welcoming staff.

We arrived at 11pm and would have liked to sleep in a bit, but there was a constant racket in the halls beginning at 6am. Breakfast was egg pucks. Housekeeping pounded on the door at 9am despite the Do Not Disturb sign. No counter space in bathroom. No outlets bedside.

My wife and I decided to stay here on our way from Atlanta to St. Louis. I had written another review and there was a glitch on my account so it deleted my old review and I had to write another one. But I have nothing but good things to say. This hotel was excellent. All of the staff members were super nice and helpful. Our room was big and spacious and clean. The location was quiet. The hotel is easily accessible from I-24 at Exit 11. We will definitely stay here again

Hotel was nice and staff friendly. Breakfast was good, There was something for everyone so if you should not leave hungry, If I travel through that area I would stay again. There are a couple of nice restaurants in town and pizza can be delivered for evening meals

Along with three girlfriends, I stayed at this hotel during the third week of April when we traveled to Paducah to attend the American Quilters Society spring show. We were delighted to find any lodging available at all in Paducah, as I made our reservations only about two months in advance of our arrival. Ordinarily everything within a fifty mile radius of Paducah is booked a year in advance of "Quilt Week." The desk clerk with whom I dealt on the reservations, Nikki, was friendly, helpful and informative in that process. The room rates during the AQS show week are about triple the usual, but we didn't mind. We had paid nearly as much for rooms in a downright scary motel in Metropolis IL (which shall remain nameless) three years earlier! We arrived before the stated check-in time, but were allowed to check in early. That was very accommodating we thought. We thus were able to unload our stuff and head downtown without having any concerns about luggage visible in our vehicle. The road in front of the hotel heads straight downtown, so navigation was easy. Our rooms were clean, comfortable and well-equipped. They had two queen beds each. We were pleased to be in a lodging situation where the room doors face an interior hallway, rather than being outdoors, as it feels more secure. We enjoyed the complimentary happy hour (boxed wine and crunchy snacks) both nights of our stay. The included breakfast had a nice variety of hot and cold foods, and gave us a saving of time and money over having to find breakfast elsewhere. Staff was uniformly helpful and friendly. The nicest thing we experienced, though, was that on the second night of our stay we had picked up some Sam Adams beer to accompany a pizza we were having delivered only to realize that none of us had a bottle opener. The same helpful Nikki who had assisted with our booking had her husband drop off a bottle opener from their home kitchen for our use. I call that extraordinary hospitality!

My husband and I had traveled to Clarksville, TN to visit the little apartment we stayed in by the Smith-Trahern Mansion while he finished his tour of duty at Ft. Campbell KY fifty years ago. We enjoyed our stay. Refreshing stop on our way home to Troy, MO. Thank You.

The staff here is very cheerful, friendly, and helpful. A delightful experience. The location is near enough to Paducah to provide access to services, but off the beaten path for sufficient quiet for a restful stop.

Great place to stay on my way to Nashville. Will be staying there on my way home. Close to Four Rivers Harley-Davidson. Easy access off of Interstate 24. I think I may head there earlier than I intended to on this Sunday. Four Rivers Harley-Davidson is having a Grand Opening event that day.

My husband and I had been on the road for over 14 hours and were very tired. The hallway smelled strongly of stale cigarette smoke. We dropped off our bags and headed out the door again for a quick bite before retiring for the night. Again, on returning, the hallway smelled of stale smoke. Once inside the room and getting ready for bed, I realized that the room also smelled of stale smoke. It wasn't as strong as in the hallway but the room was booked as non-smoking. We were just to exhausted to complain and take all our bags to a different room. We will not stay at this hotel again! I gave this only a 2 for cleanliness because of the awful smell.

Very nice updated facility room was cozy and clean breakfast very good Ashley T at the front desk was more than helpful and so friendly to everyone never saw her without a smile and gave us any help or info we asked for. Will be returning in the future for sure

Breakfast was good -- some actual protein, not just carbs -- and the staff friendly. No bad smells that I picked up anyway. Very new, clean, and big room. Didn't have time to use pool, gym, etc. Would definitely stay again.

Don't stay here if you're expecting to get your best western rewards points! My company uses a third party to book our rooms which gave me choices to choose from, I chose best western because of the rewards. When I checked in I was informed I would not receive points because someone else was paying for the room! Sorry but I'm paying for the room (employee owned company)as well as a fee for booking the room! Just another way to screw the working person! Second floor room with no elevator too!

Easy access to Interstate. Clean and comfortable room. Would recommend to travelers as the price is reasonable as well. The drive to restaurants was not too far down the road. Wish all were as clean and comfortable as this one.

I requested quiet room on top floor. Even though occupancy was low, I was put in room on bottom floor just inside of entrance and under steps. Heard lots of footsteps. I was paying with points, so maybe they didn't like that. Used points next night in Valdosta, Fl and they gave me best suite in the place. Was cold night and room heater did not work.

We always stay at this property on our way to Florida. It is convenient to the freeway, quiet and fairly priced. Breakfast is basic, but good and is always ready by 6:00 so we can grab a bite and get on our way early.

Service was excellence. Beds were very comfortable and breakfast was good and all the food was warm. I forgot my pillow and when I called I was told they would hold it for me. I said I would not be returning for 2 months and they said no problem!!!!

Exterior wasn't very impressive, but this hotel is a hidden gem. Rooms were clean and updated, carpet was clean, staff was friendly, beds were comfortable. We were traveling through, got a good night's rest, and traveled on. Breakfast had some hot items--a real plus on a cold day!

My wife and I were returning home from the Holidays. We were traveling with our pets so we were looking for a “pet friendly” hotel. I remembered Best Western as a possibility. It was a great hotel, right offf the interstate. The room was exceptionally nice and very comfortable. I will definately use this location again if the opportunity presents itself.

I rated this hotel above average based on what you get for price. One night was $73. This price included taxes and fees. As far as the room is concerned, it is pretty much a basic room. However, you do get a mini fridge and a small microwave. I do have two minor complaints. First, our television came on but did not have sound. Clerk at desk advised me to unplug from cable/satellite box and then plug back in to reset. This did solve problem. She also told me that they have been having this problem “since they changed satellite providers “. Second minor complaint is that the beds are a little squeaky. Every time someone moves the bed squeaks. Location also provides a free breakfast consisting of waffles, scrambled eggs (tasted like instant) sausage, biscuits, gravy, assorted fruits and cereal. I would probably stay again.

So this hotel is off 24 w an I was very very surprised at the cleanliness an politeness of the staff. My room was clean an the bed was comfortable. They r also doing some remodeling so rooms are being upgraded. My breakfast was better then exceptional. Typical breakfast but the scrambled eggs were reAl. I look forward to coming back.

Check-in was very good, lady at desk had very good attitude. I don't always get recognized when checking in but she made sure it happened here. I found mice turds next to bath tub and behind toilet the next morning. Didn't notice this night before,told lady at checkout and she was going to report it. “If I stay here again “we will check out room very carefully .

Stopped here in the middle of the night and was welcomed by the very friendly Dalana. Had to change rooms because of some unfinished maintenance and Dalana efficiently helped us do that smoothly. Breakfast was excellent and convenient location right off the highway. Would stay here again if I was on that route.

Very nice and quiet hotel, parking lot is in process of being paved when we were there but it was no problem. Nice place to stay and nice staff. Harley Davidson dealership about a mile away. Restaurants up the street about a mile.

Hotel was nice and clean both inside and out. Front lobby was inviting and warm and staff were friendly and professional. Bed was very comfort. Shower was invigorating with Good heat and pressure. Breakfast was filling and offered good variety.

Great hospitality, clean rooms, friendly atmosphere!! Dalana was an awesome host! Very spacious rooms that are updated and cleaner than some if the higher ended hotels. When you enter the room it is spacious and welcoming like walking in to a friends house.

My boyfriend and I were involved in a really bad car accident that resulted in a totaled car, and being two hours away from home. The towing company was nice enough to drive us where we needed to go and dropped us off at this hotel. We did not have much money to work with, and was not looking forward to what we were gonna be spending for a hotel to get us through the night. We were soaked head to toe, and shivering from the standing on the side of the highway- but Dalana greeted us both very nice despite our appearance. I told her what happened and she was very sympathetic, and did what she could to accommodate us with a room. She gave us a deal that was very affordable and just what we needed in order to unwind from the craziness. She made it very clear that if we needed absolutely anything to just let her know. The rooms were very clean, and well put together. The next morning Sandy was at the front desk. Dalana made her aware of everything and Sandy was very nice to us as well. She made herself available to answer any questions and provided everything that we needed. The both of them really took a load of stress off of us from the loads that was put on us from the accident. Their friendliness and the way they accommodated us made the experience so much better! Thank you both soooo sooo much!!!

I stay at Best Western frequently... it's always my first choice because they are very consistent and I can expect a nice stay when I'm at Best Western. This one was just as expected... a nice modern facility, everything was clean and fresh. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent as well. This was a four night stay and I will stay here again when I'm in this area...

All new in 2017? Newly renovated? Doesn't matter to us. Great welcome by Bre at the front desk. She guaranteed we would find nothing wrong with our room but if we do, she'll personally come and take care of it. The room was spacious, very clean thanks to Ashley, a/c worked perfectly, mini fridge was great for refreezing our ice packs, bathroom was clean, updated and the towels were soft, absorbent and smelled great! The bed was extremely comfortable and the linens were good quality. One thing we noticed at this hotel - breakfast ended at 9am and clean up started at 9:01am. At least we were asked if we wanted anything else before it was cleared.

Very good value. Nice room, great breakfast. The staff person was cheerful and helpful. She found room in the freezer for my freeze packs. We stay there often on our way back and forth to Florida and it always feels like we are coming home again.

This is a very pleasant place to stay. We travel back and forth to Naples, FL a couple of times a year and this has become one of our favorite place to stay on our way to FL. It is clean, comfortable and close to the town of Paducah which itself is worth a drive into. Will stay again.

The Best Western Inn located in Paducah, Ky is an excellent and convenient hotel to stay. The room was very, very clean. The location is extremely convenient. BW is located right off I24, easy off and easy on. They served a hot breakfast which was very good. The only issue that I may have had was that the bananas were a little blacken but otherwise a delicious and wholesome breakfast. They had cereal, juice, coffee, eggs, sausage, and waffles. Great breakfast! Again, the room was very clean and great decor. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had HBO for the guest viewing pleasure. I highly recommend this hotel.

My girlfriend and I were traveling back to Goodlettsville, Tennessee from Chicago, Illinois. We were back home in Chicago for a few events throughout the weekend; our travel day back to Tennessee was Sunday. We had a great stay at the Best Western. The hotel attendant was very nice, and extremely flexible and understanding of our situation. Her name is Dalana. We would definitely stay here again if we needed to. The motel itself is fine unless you get stuck with a smoking room. But they don't honor the rate you are quoted at reservation or the rate posted on the website. I requested an email with confirmation information when I reserved by phone and was told that the computer couldn't generate that paperwork because my reservation date was too far in the future. When I arrived to check in I was told that the rate was $15 higher that what the website said (I had checked it minutes before so it was not an old post) and $5 higher than what I had been quoted when I reserved. $5 isn't that much money but I can't tolerate people who don't keep their word.

Clean rooms and pleasant people-southern hospitality at it's best Breakfast nice and clean. Parking lighted well and lobby clean and neat. Very quiet and located near all the highways. Centrally located. Attendants very knowlegable and knew all the things going on and how to get there.

We had a very positive experience staying at this Best Western and enjoyed the Paducah, Kentucky area. Great place to visit. The breakfast was a pleasant surprize and the staff was excellent. I forgot my shave cream and they provided that plus a razor. The rooms were very clean and the bed was excellent. Slept like a baby. Check it out for yourself.

This hotel was very clean. It had been newly remodeled and was very modern. New large fridge in rooms and the Internet was very fast. Staff was very friendly. The price of the rooms were great for the value. I would stay here again.

Stayed at the hotel the other night and had breakfast in the morning. The gentleman serving us in the morning was absolutely wonderful. Asked Josh for directions and was very very helpful. He is an asset to asset to your company!

We stopped here on our way back to Il and found the rooms to be very comfortable and spacious and the bathrooms very clean and updated! Bre, the receptionist, was very helpful and pleasant and solved a problem we had! We enjoyed our stay and immediately got on our way back on rt 24 which was right by the hotel.

Made a last minute on the road booking. Pleasantly surprised at this property. Recent renovation was professional. They did not simply paint and paper over years of neglect, looks like they it was completely gutted and started fresh. Clean, safe and a decent breakfast.

Bre is a very friendly and helpful member of the staff. If she cannot resolve the problem she will pass it to someone who can help. The management also gave me a fair rate for a 10 day stay. We had a slight hiccup but it was fairly resolved. The breakfast is good with actual sausage patty's as well as some Canadian bacon from time to time. Better than most for the price I paid. The only negative I see is no elevator. Why I do not know may be some construction issue not really sure. I did not mind since it kept my visit to the fitness center at a minimum. Recommend you stay here when coming through

We only stayed one night but room was more than adequate. Bed was great. Needed more counter space in the bathroom. I would have liked bagels and cream cheese as a breakfast option. Nice elevator. I was skeptical with the hotel location, but very surprised. The hotel was very nice, clean and roomy. We gathered with friends and took advantage of the gazebo and the pool. The staff was wonderfully helpful and quick to respond to questions. I will definitely recommend this location and plan to stay again!

very professional staff very nice place to stay over all. i am sure allot of the quality of the hotel had to do with being remodeled but i enjoyed the stay very much only thing i didnt like was the bed was a little to firm for me but still slept ok

The hot breakfast had the most options I have ever seen. Beds and room temperature very comfortable. This BW has hall, inside access to the rooms which I liked. As others all BW, there is only stair access to the 2nd floor, no elevator.

The cost was considerably more than $77 because of the eclipse, but it was in line with what other properties were charging. It is a well-appointed motel with a very friendly and accommodating staff. The owner/manager even came out to those of us watching the eclipse bringing water on a very hot and humid day. The regular cost is extremely reasonable. Highly recommend.

The hotel was pretty standard and offered standard amenities. Rooms were clean, staff were friendly. We did not need house keeping for the couple nights we stayed so I cannot comment about that. Everything was pretty well though.

Was there for the 2017 Eclipse, Staff was very friendly and helpful, provided eclipse glasses upon check in. Manager provided eclipse glasses and water to guests who were viewing eclipse in rear of motel at the gazebo. An excellent experience, I highly recommend this motel. Clean, friendly folks, good breakfast selection. Would definitely stay here again.

Every member of the staff at the Paducah Best Western went all the extra miles to be sure that every guest had the best possible eclipse viewing experience on the hotel property. From the extra information they collected and printed for each guest to the bottles of lovely cold water during the eclipse, we could not have been more pleasantly surrounded.

Yes...it really was that good. We just stayed one night on our way to St. Louis from Gatlinburg. The staff was amazing. We had a small "Hiccup" at check in that was immediately fixed by the front desk manager. But...when I say fixed, I mean she went above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. I so wish I could remember her name. I usually write these things down. Ugg. The room was very clean. The beds were extremely comfy and the sheets were of very good quality. The hot breakfast was very good for your typical hotel breakfast. The fruit was fresh and not canned. This is big for me ;) We were traveling to St. Louis, so it was just an overnight. We travel this route frequently, and this is the best stopover hotel ever. Yes.... really that good. We will absolutely stay there again.

I enjoyed my stay. The hotel is nice, clean and has friendly staff. I feel it deserves a rating of 5 because it's so clean, comfortable and friendly. Note, there is not an elevator but stairway to access the 2nd floor. I was fine with this, but for some it may not be.

We have stayed here several times on the way to another destination. Nice place to lay your head and catch some breakfast before riding on to the Smokey Mountains. We need to spend more time in the area as there are some great places to ride. Maybe next time.

The Best Western in Paducah was a very spacious room (2 queen beds) and it fit a roll-away bed. They honored the coupon price and it included a free breakfast. The breakfast had plenty to choose from and the lobby area was very nice. We would stay here again when in the area.

Half way point from Georgia to KC, Mo needed somewhere to rest , the room smelled of cigarettes and mold , should have said something to staff but was so tired and just wanted to rest. Next time I'll speak up and request room change ....

We stopped in on our way to Florida. The hotel was right off the highway and easy to find. Check in was very easy. I was a little surprised that we weren't offered two keys for the room. The room was clean and met our needs. Nothing outstanding, but nothing bad. The price was right and it felt like it was a good deal for what I paid for the room. The breakfast was warm and there was more variety than I expected. The breakfast area was small, but we were the only people there, so it wasn't a problem during our stay.

Very clean, comfortable and friendly. Check in was great. We were hot and tired due to being on our motorcycle all day in the heat. The young lady welcomed us and also gave us a couple snacks and bottled water. Breakfast was good. We were greeted by two employees who were very friendly...thank you Sylvia and Dalana! Very nice place to stay.

Stayed for a week, during their heat wave, the air in the room kept it cool, nice to have a outside pool, Silvia did a good job taking care of us every morning for breakfast and Salena kept our rooms really clean, had a good time.

Check in personnel were very nice, room clean, A/C unit we set at about 68 degrees nothing happened till at least 1/2 hour later, it was off and on. Breakfast rubber eggs and sausage that tasted like meatless, went to have fruit loops tasted stale. Go out to eat for breakfast, don't eat here.

Called and got the room I wanted. Told Ron I had a coupon ( used same coupon several times in the past). He said he would note this on the reservation. Upon arrival Ron told me he couldn't honor the coupon. Ask him why he didn't say so on the phone. I didn't get a clear answer. He did lower the rate but not to the coupon. I felt he wasn't fair on this issue but stayed anyway. The next reservation I do with them I will be clear on the coupon issue. As a senior I have to use any discount I can get. The room and service (other than coupon issue) was great.

I was traveling by myself with my 2 children when we decided to stop in for the night. The lobby was beautiful and very clean. We were kindly greeted by Natasha at the front desk. She was so sweet and helpful. She even offered my children cookies and talked to them. She included them in our conversation and treated them like gold. She answered all my questions and helped me find my room. The breakfast was delicious and the kids were excited for biscuits and gravy. I recommend anyone going through Paducah to stop here. The room was clean and very nice and the staff was amazing! Ask for Natasha, her sweet smile and wonderful kindness makes you feel like part of the family. Second time I have passed through, the last time was 4 years earlier. To reach here is about 850 miles on the motorcycle for the day so I am tired to say the least. So the good is that it is quiet and clean. The bad is that there is not a darn other thing at this exit except for a couple of gas station/stores with gas station food. So don't stay here if you want to park and walk for a meal. Staff was pleasant, though seemed to be in the learning mode.

Quiet, clean and convenient. Perfect for an overnight rest from the road. The outdoor pool was great for the kids. I only wish that the entire motel was non-smoking, as the hallway smelled heavily of cigarettes.

I picked this hotel due to a great rating on trip advisor and it was medium priced in comparison to other local motels. The good... Easy to get to, big clean room and big bathroom and very nice pool area. The not so good... The breakfast was what I've come to expect at most hotels. Everything appeared to just be microwaved and wasn't very good and the free Wi-Fi was terrible. Those are not deal breakers for me but just a heads up. I wouldn't plan on getting any WiFi business done. On a side note apparently they have a section of rooms that allow pets for a fee. I would stay again on a pleasure trip. It's about 5 miles down the interstate from the main Paducah attractions so you won't be walking

Recently renovated property. Rooms very clean, nicely appointed. Lobby and breakfast area are comfortable, well laid out and spotless. Good selection of breakfast items including sausage, eggs, biscuits, gravy and usual assortment of other breakfast items. Well stocked and frequently replenished. Quick & easy check-in and check-out.

The exterior of the hotel could definitely use some help. There were sections of the parking lot that needed some much needed repairs. Basically, the hotel looked a lot better online than it did when we arrived. When we drove up it looked like a renovated Super 8.

We stayed on a Saturday night and the room was very clean but it smelled like vics vapor rub. Shower looked clean but smelled like mildew. The breakfast was really good. Especially the biscuits and gravy. The guy at the desk was very nice and informative. It was really easy to find.

room 112 has a sewer back up smell as of when I was there on June 16. I have had no problems with any other rooms. But about two weeks before this the night shift attendant left sometime during her shift and the guest were left alone found out the next morning when i went to check out and nobody was at the front desk the keys to the motel were laying on the counter. Called back later and got 10% deducted from my bill.

On our trip to Illinois, we always choose to stay in Paducah, KY. Choosing the Best Western is a most. Conveniently located on exit 11 on I-24, good service and friendly staff. The rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable.

Everything was very good but beds are in need of replacement . Ron was great at check in. Hotel is modern looking and even has receptacle for a Tesla car to charge. Breakfast was typical for Best Westerns.

We were heading back home and decided Paducah would be a nice stop for the evening. I was happy with the hotel even though we had to drive a few miles into town to get our evening meal. It's right off the interstate which is really nice. The room was comfortable and we were on ground level which I appreciated. There is a laundry room but we didn't need to use it. The staff was busy when we arrived; I guess everyone was checking in at the same time. There are city maps available on the table and I took one to figure out where to eat that night. The breakfast was good; I had oatmeal that didn't come in little packets and my husband had a waffle. I would recommend this hotel if you are wanting an easy on/off the interstate hotel.

I wanted to commend Brittany N that helped with our breakfast experience. Not only was she accommodating to us, but I watched as more and more people came in to eat, and it didn't phase her. She continued to bring her a game no matter how many people were needing help. She kept the food and beverages filled, cleaned off countertops, and did it all with a welcoming smile. I know you aren't supposed to leave tips, but I wanted to make sure she knew that she was a valuable team member. Then to find out she was new!!! It was a great lesson to my three kids about work ethic. I was proud to meet her.

Driving purchased horse trailer from NC to MO. Perfect stop with helpful staff. Quiet and restful easy on and off I24. Sink drain slow, otherwise room clean and comfortable. Good for overnight road trip. Would stay again.

No elevator with no help with our luggage. Terrible breakfast, not up to best western standards. Each day was the same breakfast. Nothing new and it got worse every day. Stick with the hot cereal nothing else is palpable. Clean and very standard room.

Great service from all the staff. Rooms comfortable. Quick check, was easy. I had all my requests answered and very accommodating. Well Ron was very helpful with any request. Ron helped me when I needed an extra chair at breakfast and he helped me pump the creamer for my coffee at breakfast. We enjoyed the special snack time in the evenings specially for the Quilters.

Very nice large room equipped with a king bed, sofa, refrig and microwave, and work table. Bathroom was also large. Room is very quiet with little road noise at night. Motel is at exit with no restaurants and only a few gas stations. AC is quiet and you can set the desired temp for your room. Basic breakfast of biscuits & gravy, sausage, processed eggs, waffles, breads, and cereals. Staff is very friendly.

I stayed at best western with my wife the other night. We had a really nice stay everything was clean, and looked nice. James at the front desk was so helpful he went above and beyond to help us. He is definitely a asset to the company.

First off let me say that what made the trip to Best Western was the customer service. Ronald was fantastic. I called ahead and he booked our room, made all the arrangements and made sure our stay was comfortable. Even though the tub was not big enough, that was my only complaint. Friendly & Helpful Staff, Newly Remodeled with Modern Style furniture, Clean , I traveled to Paducah to take a three day class at the The National Quilt Museum to further my education on Quilt Appraisal . Every morning at 5:00 coffee was ready in the lobby. Soon to follow delicious eggs sausage and biscuits made fresh everyday. Snacks in my room along with clean towels every day! It was a good experience!

From all my previous stays here, I found the best Western in Paducah on husbands road is to be the absolute best place to stay! Ron and all the other staff are awesome, take care of us, and made sure we have plenty of wine!

Traveling and we decided to stop in Puducha. Stayed at the Best Western Puducha Inn. The employee Ron W. that checked us in was wonderful. Best service , great night sleep, clean, great breakfast. Definitely would stay again and recommend.

Only above average thing was the people at the front desk were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was poor.They were doing some remodeling so that was a mess at the time I was there should be a better lobby when done.

Don't let the location or plain exterior of this hotel fool you. It is extremely nice on the inside. Room was spacious and everything in working order. The free breakfast was ready at 6:00 am. Internet service was reliable, as well. The desk clerk, Ron W, went out of his way to welcome us and give us the information we requested. We stayed only one night as we were traveling through the area. Will stay there again when traveling through.

Perfect location to stop on our way from Florida. We were welcomed by Ron W. who was both professional and went out of his way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the area. The rooms were clean, updated and comfortable.Checkout was easy. Also, Chastity helped me with using the rewards points properly for my stay. Kudos for the fine service.

When the Fraternal Order of Eagles held their state conference in Paducah the Best Western was the hotel for the hospitality suites. The staff, especially Chasity, was so helpful in getting the rooms lined up for me that we would need for our event. The hotel allowed the Eagles members to take over the breakfast area during the day & evening using it as the social gathering point for the members. Even though there was some construction going on at the front desk area, everything from check in to needs was still handled professionally and in a timely manner. The only issue I saw was the hotel has 1 luggage cart for the entire hotel. The rooms have been recently remodeled.

Perfect location to stop for the night as we passed through Paducah on our trip to Florida. Quick & Easy access off highway. BP gas station right next door do we could quickly gas up for the next day. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice variety of breakfast choices. And coffee!! We will stop again on our next trip south.

I received great service from Ronald who checked me in. The staff was wonderful, the rooms were clean and comfortable and I had an all-around great experience there! The breakfast area was clean and had a good food selection.

We picked this Motel at the last minute.This is a very nice place to stay. My wife was a little disappointed that it didn't have a hot tub. Everything else was just fine. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, breakfast was very good.

This facility appears to have been recently updated (remodeled). We have stayed here before but it has been a couple of years. It is in a very quiet location, away from the interstate and shopping centers. While the rooms are updated and new it is basic accommodations. I thought the value paid for the room was higher than normal (>$100). I compare all "hot" breakfast to the spreads that Holiday Inn Express serve, and the this breakfast was hot, but nothing worth mentioning. In fact I ate cereal and toast because the eggs were like rubber and the sausage tasted rancid. But I would stay here again. Chastity G went out of her way to make our stay comfortable.

We experienced a complete power outage in the entire hotel during our stay. The staff was not very sympathetic to the fact that we had to have a cold breakfast and could not shower or move around in our room in complete darkness. We had two flashlights with us but the other guests did not. I would think that Best Western would offer some compensation for our inconveniences but they did not.

We stayed 2 nights at the Best Western Paducah Inn. It sits right off the freeway (close but very quiet) and about 6 miles from downtown Paducah.... very easy to get to the historic downtown and the quilt museum. Our room was upstairs, very quiet...the downstairs smelled a bit smoky, although there is no smoking in the motel , upstairs not a problem. Staff is very helpful, housekeeping does a great job and the lady that runs the breakfast area in the morning is wonderful!

No reservations, no problem. Main floor close to the free coffee! The staff, Amy Helped us as soon as we walked in the doors, very pleasant. Breakfast was a good one in the morning. Beds were a pleasure to sleep on. large room & bathroom.

Great PET FRIENDLY hotel. We did not have our dogs with us, but noted that there was ample area to walk them. Clean well furnished/supplied room. The desk help was accomadating. Good location, right off the highway. Lots of places to eat. Good neighborhood. Picnic tables and a grill for your use.

This is one of the cleanest hotels we stay at when my wife and I travel. We're VERY picky when it comes to hotel cleanliness (we don't want to take more travelers when we leave a hotel ;) This many times irritates hotel clerks (like they're doing us a favor by "letting" us stay there when we're part of the reason they even have a job! Cleanliness isn't a problem at this hotel. On a 15 hour trip, I'll drive 10 of it just to stay at this particular hotel for this reason. If they keep it this way, they'll continue to be successful.

Our primary concern when traveling is cleanliness and this place passed the test....We had a nice breakfast, nice selection and the employee kept it filled up and clean.... The employees are very pleasant helpful. If we would pass by here again, we would definitely stay here again.

You think that guaranteed hotel reservation you received from the Best Western Paducah is worth the paper it's printed on? THINK AGAIN! The Best Western in Paducah is cancelling my reservation and the reservation of several of my friends simply out of greed. When I made my reservation I told the hotel that a solar eclipse was coming and that the area hotels would be in high demand. Several of us received email confirmations for reserved rooms that were attached to credit cards that we provided. Once the hotel management became aware that the reservations were made they started calling us individually attempting to cancel our reservations. They are now requiring a 3-night stay for more than double the quotes rate. Instead if paying $89.99 we are now required to pay nearly $600.00 ($199.00 per night for 3 nights - 2 of which we can't use because the eclipse is a 2 minute 44 second event). This is shameless profiteering on the part of the hotel which should not go unnoted. I have no problem if the hotel raises it's rates because of demand, but once you guarantee a room you had better keep that committment or none of your patrons will ever be able to trust you.

Pulling off the exit to find our hotel and my heart sank as we saw a lonely hotel right there with a gas station. In the lobby there are two huge ceramic elephants in an otherwise nicely decorated area. Immediately I thought of all the Orlando hotels owned by foreigners and thought oh no! I asked the staff member to see a room prior to checking in. The room was clean, well appointed and comfortable. We had a nice stay, the staff was accommodating. Breakfast was eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, etc. Everything you come to expect with an all inclusive room. So don't let the elephants or the location deter you. Mr. Patel is a good hotelier.

this was our resting place after a long day of motorcycle riding, it was a very nice , clean hotel with a decent pool, And they have a wonderful breakfast to get you on your way for the next day, great place to stay

We stayed at the BW at 2960 Husband Road on 4 August 2016 during travel on a family vacation. The hotel appeared well maintained and front desk person was nice. When we got to the room she assigned for us, it was on the main floor. The hallway to the room had a musty smell. So did the room, and the air conditioner. The smell was like a damp basement that needed a dehumidifier running. When we returned to ask for a room change, she came to the room and advised that the carpet had recently been cleaned using a dry process and maybe that was the smell. It smelled like dampness to us. Because we only stayed one night, to be fair we have no way of knowing if the issue on the main floor was a one time situation, or longer term. She gave us a different room on the second floor and that was fine. We had breakfast the next morning at the hotel and that was fine.

Rooms well located, easy to get to vending and ice machines. All areas clean room and all other areas inside and out. Breakfast was great clean hot and fresh.The Paducah Inn is truley a great value BANG for you buck. When mom happy i happy. :)

Very clean and friendly staff. Chasity was very nice and helpful. Room was clean and hotel was quiet and for such a low price was very accommodating. Although there were no restaurants within walking distance, there were some a few miles down the road.

Quick ride into town where everything is but nice and quiet when it is time to sleep. I will be back. The staff was accommodating with a good breakfast. I needed a towel to wipe off my seat after a rainstorm and a heavy dew at 5:30 in the morning and someone was there quickly to hand it to me. Good place to stay

Me and three friends stayed at this hotel on a recent night out. It is a great hotel. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was pretty good. Rooms are nicely furnished with comfortable beds. The outdoor pool is great if the weather cooperates and the indoor fitness center is adequate for a short stay. Highly recommend. Location is a short can ride to most things you would like to do.

Great location. Quiet but close enough to ride into town for the sights; but nice quiet location so you get a good nights rest. Breakfast was out by 5:30 AM so I could eat before I had to run. Helpful staff and nice clean and comfortable rooms. Staff seems to want to help the guests no matter your need. Next trip in the area I will stay here.

We have been staying here for years and it just gets better and better. The staff is amazing - especially Chasity! The breakfast is always above average. I didn't get the name of the breakfast lady but she was also extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and the location is perfect for our travels. Will be back again and again.

Stay here! I don't know why this isn't classified as a Best Western Plus (luckily it didn't have the Best Western Plus higher rates either). It was a wonderful hotel. Great hot breakfast. High hand-held shower head. Best stay on our month long trip. Also try the Kountry Kastle food down the street. Looks like crap, but the food is good and cheap.

We were looking for a motel that you could unload right at room door because we needed to bring in coolers and didn't want to hassle with the luggage cart. Poor decision! The room smelled musty and the carpet was dirty. The 2 full sized beds were made up with a ks top sheet and a worn twin blanket. If we had been smart and not already unloaded and road weary, we should have checked out right then and there. Just drive to the next North bound exit. Period!

We had an unexpected stay at this Best Western while we were travelling from Wisconsin to home in Florida. We were involved in a severe accident down the road resulting in our vehicle being totaled. Chasity greeted us at the desk when we came in. Already aware of what happened, Chasity bent over backwards to make what was a very stressful situation, much easier to deal with as she worked to accommodate us in any way she could. Other staff members we encountered were just as supportive. I can't say enough about how much that helped. Good people, as were the other people of Paducah we encountered during this unfortunate blip in our lives. We've got this Best Western bookmarked as a place to stop and stay in the future when we're travelling through the area. Thanks again!

Everything was great. The bed was comfortable\\The room was clean and the décor was pleasant.The breakfast was very good compared to other buffets, including the Hampton Inn which we stayed the night before.in Knoxville, Ky. The price was very good, under $100 for such a nice place. We stayed at the Best Western Plus in Grand Marais, Mn. a month ago.It was excellent also. We are so impressed with Best Western that we signed up for there rewards program.

A very good moderate motel. I reserved a standard king but opted for two queens in order to stay on first floor. Second floor was not an option because off my age and the large number off baggage .I will consider this BW in the future.

This hotel was very easy to get to. It is well appointed. The staff is very friendly and most helpful. The room was comfortable in size, the bed was as well. It is a short distance to downtown. Recommend seeing the floor wall murals, as well as the Quilt Museum, even if you are not a quilter!

An average Best Western hotel, My room wasn't as clean as it should be. Staff was apologetic but not responsive when I checked in but management was very considerate & responsive when I left. It is a good place to stay near a fabulous quilt museum in town,

I had to stay longer than planned for work. The only hotel I could find is the Best western. We only stayed one night. Rooms looked dated. Door didn't automatically close behind you (into room). Decor was really odd in lobby. Small fridge and microwave. I never found elevator so I had to carry my bags up the stairs to the 2nd floor. Rooms are lacking decor. Im a bit if a hotel snob, I wouldn't stay there again, but I was in a bind and couldn't be homeless.

This hotel is right off of the highway (I-24) with easy access. There are multiple places to each within 6 - 7 miles. The room was clean and quiet. The full breakfast was simple and enjoyable. We will stay here again the next time we travel in this area.

The Best Western Paducah Inn has very large, comfortable rooms at a very reasonable rate. It is halfway between Nebraska and our destination in Atlanta. Overall, I would rate the hotel as very good, or "excellent for the price."

This hotel needs upgrades and for the smoking in hallway and stairway to be enforced. The stairwell is quite unsightly, there is no elevator. If you go during the summer plan on going into a sweltering room which takes the old A/C hours to slightly cool down. The breakfast leaves much to be desired and do not plan on getting anything accomplished via the internet because it did not work during my stay and I did not have the desire to fight with someone over what I felt should be included.

The hotel was very clean. The room was very nice and updated. Bathroom was updated. Staff was pleasant. The breakfast was excellent. No complaint other than seeing if another layer of flooring or something could be added for the people in a room under ours complained about our grandson running in the room.

Spent 8 days on the road relocating from WA to SC. Stayed at Best Western 4 of those nights, and found everyone of them to be an excellent choice. Would have done all 8 at a BW, but not always an option for out various stops.

The motel was clean & comfortable (except my old bed). The staff was friendly & helpful. The property is convenient to the interstate highway & shopping. I question the claim that it's located 5 min. from downtown. Seems like it took us forever to get there.

No one told us that there was no elevator when we booked our room. With my handi-capped husband we found climbing the 19 steps daunting. To add to our dismay, our room was not very clean. You could see the dust on the mop-board all around the room, complete with 'dust bunnies' in the corners. The furniture, especially the couch, was very old and saggy and the carpet appeared dirty. The breakfast was marginal, eggs were cold and powdered. Would not stay here again.

Large rooms, recently renovated. Friendly, helpful staff. Stayed here to visit the Quilt Museum. Hotel was a bit isolated from anything else but only 5 miles from Downtown. Breakfast was rather ordinary but met our needs.

My girlfriends and I stayed at Best Western for Quilt Week. Everyone was helpful, hotel was on the shuttle stop, breakfast was excellent each morning. Every afternoon they had snacks and wine. Room was clean, fresh and up to date.

We were glad to have found an open room for Paducah Quilt Week, but were unsure how our stay would be. We loved the Best Western. The hotel was very clean and updated and the yummy hot breakfast every morning saved us money to spend on fabrics! Everyone with the hotel was very nice and sweet. We would stay here again for sure.

Never have I run into such friendly hotel staff! All were so helpful and interested in making my stay comfortable. The room was clean and comfortable and the price reasonable. However, there must have been children running in the room above me which resulted in lots of noise below - in my room. I stayed in room 101 which is near the pool, vending machines, and breakfast area. I would suggest you choose another room as this room is too near areas where noise could be a problem. The hotel was easy to access off of the interstate and left me with only a 2 hour drive to get to my Nashville distination in the morning. I would stay here again, but would request a room on a upper floor.

This hotel provided us a clean, comfortable, quiet room to spend the night on our way to Florida. It is conveniently located just off the interstate and has a great, hot breakfast to get you started in the morning. We will definitely choose this hotel again when we're going through.

Knowing we would be tired and not do a lot in Nashville on arrival we decided to stay on the south side of Paducah. That put us within about two easy driving hours in the morning. Our room was very clean and breakfast was good. There are no places to eat close by but this turned out to be a bonus. About 4 miles east on Husband road is the old part of Paducah. The community has done a lot to revitalize the river front area and it's worth a visit. A number of decent restaurants to choose from. So we had a nice dinner paid less than 95.00 for our room and arrived in Nashville next morning refreshed and ready to go.

We stopped here on our way back home for a much needed break after driving for 8 hours. First, we were going to have a room upstairs which with no elevator was terrible. Fortunately, we were offered a wheelchair accessible room downstairs. Thank you very much! The room was nice and roomy. The bathroom had the prettiest sink I have ever seen in a hotel. Great staff, good breakfast the next morning.

Would not stay at Best West In Paducah Kentucky ever again I asked for a 1st floor room if at all possible We were put on the 2nd floor they do not have a elevator had to go up 16 stairs room smelled of smoke

Very clean and well lite hotel. Nice décor, excellent breakfast bar, supportive staff. Had ample parking, hotel was located in a light industrial section of town. Hotel did lack restaurants close for a meal.

Staff went out of their way to make sure we had all we needed. Fitted a room to our needs. Breakfast was awesome. Pepper gravy on the biscuits were the best. Pull out sofa worked well for the kiddos.We felt very secure while there, and the breakfast/lounge area was really neat & cool looking!

BW has been upgrading its hotels worldwide in recent years to try and keep up with other chains and boost their image...this hotel has nicely updated rooms, clean comfortable and spacious. As with most BW hotels though, their breakfast is still quite poor. I've been to three different ones in the past month and each one has the same horrible biscuits and gravy. Poor quality rolls. It must be a corporate thing as they all offered the same lousy spread. It makes me know if I stay at a BW I need to add $10 for breakfast the next morning, plus the time to go out. They spend all the millions on refurbishing the hotel, but cheap out on lousy breakfast items! Terrible short sighted corporate policy! If you simply want a clean comfortable room this is the place, just add $10 for breakfast somewhere else!

This hotel was so easy to find at a great value! It was conveniently located right off the interstate and near a Show Me's. Our room was modern and clean. I was very pleased to find luxury on a budget here and great service.

We have stayed at this motel many times. It is always clean and good smelling. The breakfast is usually good but our last stay the breakfast was greatly lacking in quality, however, we will stay at this motel again due to the convenience of location and the motel is always clean and we have a good nights sleep.

You will not be disappointed if you stay at Best Western in Paducah, Kentucky. The rooms are great and the motel was wonderful. But the best part of the experience is the staff! It might just be because this is a small town and the folks there have that small town friendly quality. But, I think it's more than that...it's a way of life for these folks.

On our way back from Florida. Rate was $30 less than other hotels. Upgraded rooms and very clean. Breakfast was run of the mill. Staff very friendly. Good value. I would definitely stay here again. Great access to I-24. Only negative was that most restaurant's were 7 miles down the road. So location was the only drawback

Very clean, spacious room. Good service, hot breakfast was great. We arrived late, with no reservation, but lucky for us they had a room available. We were hauling a 30``flat deck trailer and they had parking to accommodate us.

Great front desk service. We were a late arrival but Danielle got us checked into our room fast. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Although we were a late check out we headed out early. To our surprise coffee was already made and various breakfast items were ready. It was a great stay. Highly recommend it.

Unpleasant smells in hallways. Bathroom floor was sticky to shoes. Light bulbs out. Need exhaust fan in bathroom. Outer doors to hallways not locking. Pet policy is confusing, saw someone enter room with small dog, signs entering building says: No animals allowed ? Breakfast was o.k. Exterior was fine, no issues with trash around the building. Staff was pleasant, and friendly.

2nd time staying here, they take the time to make you feel like home. I always try and stay here when I pass thru. The staff always are respectful and helpful. The breakfast is always popular way to start your day, Waffles are the best,

Close to the downtown area and the mall. Rooms were newly renovated, smelled clean and was clean. Front desk staff was friendly and checked in rather quickly. Fitness center has several different machines, small area but nice to unwind in. Definitely will return.

The staff at the hotel was wonderful, the room was extremely clean and neat, and all services were offered as advertised. I would stay there again. The location is a bit out of town, but you still have very close access to a nice Walmart, Kroger, and fast-food and local restaurants. And it doesn't take very long to get to the mall; you just have to get back on the highway for a few exits. There is a great 24 hour convenience store right across the street that has a great selection of beverages, some prepared sandwiches, etc. and another gas station right across the parking lot. The room décor is a bit dated and needs to be updated, but personally that didn't bother me much. The water was hot, the shower worked perfectly, and the staff was beyond reproach. It was a wonderful stay. I was working nights so the staff went out of their way to leave me alone when I was sleeping and then to clean my room when it was convenient for me and my sleeping schedule. They were really great and extremely friendly. I was there 2 weeks and everything was fine, except for the slow drain in my sink, which I didn't think was a very big deal.

Easy to book. The rates on Trip Advisor were not available, but we did book with arrival time in less than 3 hours. Nice, clean, reasonable price. There is no elevator to get to second floor. Hot breakfast was fair-eggs, sausage, waffles. Location is very close to interstate. Room had microwave and refrigerator.

The accommodations were clean and up to date with amenities. The breakfast was good...lots of choices and the staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay again when in the area. This hotel is easy to get to from the major highway.

Really enjoyed my stay! Everything was perfect ! The breakfast was delicious. Literally the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Seriously I would have brought it home with me if I thought it would fit on the plane! The staff was very friendly, I was treated like family. I will recommend this to everyone I know.

After looking for hours for a good place to stay, I decided to try out this place and I know that I could have not chosen better. When me and my family arrived we found that the room was nice and clean, it didn't smell bad or like cigarettes like most places. We had excellent service and the food was great. When it was time to sleep it felt like heaven. The beds were very soft and comfortable and I am now a happy customer and will come here in the future. Definitely recommend it to everyone else.

The hotel sits near restaurants and directly across the street from a convenience store/gas station. Easy access on and off the highway. Good experience.

I was so surprised when checking in, I was told we'd be on the 2nd floor and there was no elevator. I explained I'd had foot surgery, and he said "It's only 12 steps up"! I asked if possibly there might be a room on the ground floor, and was told "No". Well, I made it up and down the flight of stairs, slowly! At check out, I mentioned it would have been nice if they had mentioned there was no elevator when I made the reservation. She said it was on the website. Guess I must have missed it? Won't stay there again!

It was an unplanned stop, since we had such a great service last time, we decided to try again. We were not disappointed. The night staff was very friendly and welcoming, nice room and very comfy bed. We loved its location because downtown is a straight shot down the road and even though is off the interstate, it is very quiet, this is our 2nd stay and looking forward to our 3rd. Keep up the good work. As before breakfast is great and excellent tasting coffee.

The check in clerk was very friendly. Our room smelled when we first walked in but got better after we turned on the A/C. The room was painted in darker colors which made it seem smaller. It had a popcorn ceiling and evidently had not been updated in a while. I did not care for the sink in the bathroom as there was no place to put any toiletries. The room had a decent fridge and microwave. The motel is located next to a gas station which was the view out our window. Just a note: I would not stay in the room by the ice maker as it generates ice all night and is very noisy.

I was traveling from Arkansas to Nashville and I stopped at the first Paducah exit and 2 hotels were full and and receptionist said all hotels were booked because of volleyball tournaments and BBQ on the RIver Festival...so, I got back in the car and went up to the next exit and there was the Best Western. I went inside and a very nice young gentleman named Michael was there. I told him I needed a non smoking room for one night and I said, "I guess you are sold out too"...No ma'am, I have rooms. I also had a small Pomeranian dog and about that time I saw the "no pets" sign, so I said, "Oh I see your sign...I guess I should leave... He told me about the fee for pets and I signed off and he worked with me on the room. He bent over backwards for me. He told me all about what they offered AND he told me we were just about 10 minutes from the BBQ festival on the river...HE MADE MY WEEKEND end in a perfect way. He was super nice and even checked with us to make sure we were happy. SO, MICHAEL ROCKS!!!

I cannot say how very thankful I am for your front desk agent named Amy! She made an exception to policy late on Saturday night for a very weary female traveler. The room was nice and clean. Very friendly and helpful staff, good hot breakfast, very clean rooms. Located slightly away from the congested hotel, restaurant, and mall area but within four or five miles from all of it including the downtown historic district with the many attractions it offers along the riverfront. It is in a very safe area and located on main roads. I stay there regularly on business trips and am never disappointed.

One of the best hotels that I have been to. Very clean and breakfast was great! Will be back again. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable and a very big help while I was checking in. Didn't have any problems!

Exceptional hospitality! I needed more towels, and they brought some quickly to our room. Wonderful customer service, clean rooms, and great breakfast!! The food was my best part! Will recommend to family and friends.
