Good location, close to a lot of shopping. We are elite members and rented a suite for one night. We arrived 45 minutes before check in and were charged $30 for checking in early. Room was quiet, breakfast was good.

On a busy Saturday, it is very difficult to accommodate early checkins, but I see that our Guest Services Agent was able to work with our housekeeping team that afternoon and they were able to re-arrange our cleaning schedule that day so we could check you in at 2:30 pm. I am pleased to hear that your stay was enjoyable and you had a chance to enjoy our fresh, house-made breakfast. Have a wonderful week!

Amazing place to stay. People working there were very polite and positive. Place was exceptionally clean. Great rooms and comfy bed. Breakfast had a wide variety of quality food and set up was great!!

Best breakfast of any hotel we stayed at during our two week vacation*****. Beware there is a 200.00 damage deposit charged to your credit card in addition to your room charge. You have to wait up to five days to have it removed as long as your room is the same as when you arrived. No prior mention of this charge, otherwise we would have stayed somewhere else.

We stayed for a 2 night stay as we were visiting the area. The hotel is modern and the room had everything we needed Friendly staff on both check in and check out. Breakfast was buffet style and very good with plenty of choice. The pool was great and even had a water slide and hot tub Overall a fab stay and we will return in the future as we want to explore the area a bit more.

Very friendly staff, willing to help in all ways. The breakfasts were delicious! Unfortunately only one elevator with a full hotel! Not BW fault, just waiting on a part. All the guests took it in stride.

Thank you for your review Jill. Our staff are always happy to help make your stay enjoyable. We apologize for the inconvenience with one of our elevators being out of service during your stay. Thank you for knowing that we are at the mercy of a very limited supply chain when it comes to parts. For the safety of all our guests, Kone Elevators took one of our elevators out of service as they noticed that a part needed to be replaced during their monthly inspection and maintenance. We are told the part should be in this week! I hope you have an amazing rest of summer!

This hotel is horrible. The front desk clerk was very unfriendly and impersonal. She let us feel very uncomfortable. The bathroom had no fan and showering with 3 people without a fan is really fun… Downstairs by the pool the floor was always wet and had puddles to the elevator. Twice I almost slipped and fell, I am pregnant so that was dangerous. The breakfast room is way to small and overfilled. By 9am they had no food and were very slow in filling up again. The waffle maker should be not used by younger kids… it's very unhygienic and disgusting. A little girl was making herself a waffle and the batter went everywhere, she licked her fingers and touched continuously the waffle maker… the waffle maker is also standing in the middle of the breakfast buffet and created line ups for people that just wanted breakfast without making a waffle. The price for staying in this hotel is way to high for the service you receive Very disappointed

No housekeeping was provided for the 4 days that we were there for our sons wedding. We were told the policy of the hotel was that you had to stay 5 days or longer in order to qualify for housekeeping

We provide housekeeping at our property twice per week, however we are happy to provide you with any additional amenities and services that you require during your stay. During your stay, I hope you and your family had a chance to enjoy our fresh in-house, hot breakfast. Our breakfast team has worked hard to create a fresh, house-made breakfast (with no additives or preservatives) and we are proud of the fact that we don't buy anything that is pre-made. It is quite popular amongst our guests. I would like to assure you that the majority of our guests experience an excellent stay, and we value all of the feedback that we receive. Excellent service. Clean hotel. Breakfast was delicious both mornings, with a variety of choices. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Tim Hortons, as well as a grocery store, is across the street and within walking distance.

All the staff were super kind to us. With a lot of gymnastics kids running around, the staff let them be kids. Stayed on top of making sure the pool had towels, stocked breakfast, everything. Very clean rooms, everything was working. Comfortable beds, even the pullout was comfy.

I wasn't able to book the room I wanted online, but when I called Okotoks directly set me up with exactly what I was looking for. When we got there I was so impressed that they had our room ready and let us check in hours early! I wasn't feeling well, and they did everything they could to help me and my family out. Will definitely be going back again.

We were there for a family reunion at Easter. Front desk staff were very gracious in accommodating us in rooms that were together. We we're a group of 19 people and hadn't seen each other for sometime and it allowed for much better visiting. Rooms were clean comfortable and spacious. Staff was exceptionally pleasant. Breakfast was a very pleasant surprise with a hot meal that changed daily. You do not need to go out to a restaurant for a good breakfast. We were very grateful that the weekend breakfast hours were extended to include Easter Monday. The Easter egg hunt for the children was also a very sweet surprise. The kids also enjoyed the pool and water slides. The water in the pool did not appear to be over chlorinated as in some hotels. We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Continental breakfast was absolutely terrible, by far the worst coffee I ever tasted, first hotel I ever stayed at that ended thier breakfast at 8:30am. For a $150.00 a night you should atleast get a above address breakfast and a decent cup of coffee.

Our coffee alternates between Tim Horton's and Starbucks and most guests rave about it. We hope you will consider staying with us again.

Sandpaper towels, and bad value for $160 a night.No room service for two nights stay not even bathroom amenities.and loud af fan/generator that never stops.And hot breakfast is at 6:30. If you're into burnt crispy slices of ham, raw potatoes, and days old French toast. It's a far cry from Best Western Plus.

Whether it is our hotel or any other, any concerns with your room that are not to your satisfaction should be addressed with our Guest Services team immediately so that we can rectify them during your stay. Lastly at our hotel, we pride ourselves on the fact that our hot breakfasts are made fresh, in-house by our breakfast team each and every morning. I am sorry to hear that the breakfast options were not to your satisfaction during your stay. We hope you change your mind about visiting us in the future.

It was my first time staying here but I will definitely stay in the future friendly staff and quiet location. Smaller town not much road noise close proximity to shopping area and coffee house. Easy access to and from main highways.

We needed a room for 1 night without reservations. It was great they could accommodate us. Everything was clean. Staff super friendly. Nice having a sit down breakfast with variety of choices. Review is a pain with min of 200 required

I had great service. I found it a bit pricey, but good. I do support businesses who find a way to get around medical segregation while still following guidelines. To have the dining room closed to all patrons and everyone has breakfast in their room would be a way to bi pass this. I found staff to still be very kind and helpful. Thank you.

Long story – short. Don't pay the BW $250 for a pool party and try and plan a time. Apparently, it doesn't gain you anything. Pay $150 for a room invite your friends and through your own party. Long Story - If you are planning on booking a Birthday Party using the pool, read this first. We booked the pool for our son's birthday last weekend. We hosted us and 3 other families, a total of 8 kids and 3 adults in the pool and 4 other adults observing. At 1pm we entered the pool. At approximately 1:15 an additional 10-12 people entered the pool (approx. 6 adults and 6 kids). At this point we now have 27 people in the small pool room at the BW!!! We tried to communicate with the front desk, but they told us there was nothing they could do. That the other people were guests of the hotel and who planned their own event at the same time as ours. We tried talking to management but again didn't get much sympathy or help. Just blamed it on bad luck. So, our party guests and us were left pretty uncomfortable (at one there was around 10 people trying to use the hot tub with an additional 5 adults seated around it – the slide was continuous lined up…). The worst part was that the Best Western checked all the people in with wrist bands and didn't make any effort to help space out the pool use. Terrible customer service!!! But most important don't be a jerk. If someone is already hosting an event don't crowd the pool – wait your turn!!! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

I am sorry that you felt the need to address your concerns on social media instead of calling me directly to discuss them first. We like to use these opportunities for learnings for our team so that they have the opportunity to grow and learn how to handle situations differently in the future. I did have a very pleasant conversation with Mandee today, who was the organizer of the birthday party booking. She mentioned that she was aware that the pool party booking was not private as we can't prevent registered guests of the hotel from using the pool facilities. This particular family had 3 rooms booked at the hotel. Had we known that registered guests were planning to celebrate their child's birthday at the same time, we would have done our best to ask them to come a short time later, so that both parties could have an enjoyable experience. Mandee indicated that it was only in the last 20-30 minutes of the pool time did the other family arrive with some grandparents. As you mention, it is very typical that guests will wait until the pool party is over, unfortunately, this did not occur yesterday. I apologized to Mandee for this. We will be discussing this internally to develop procedures to potentially avoid this situation in the future. Mandee did say that Andrew had a fantastic birthday party even though there were some extras in the pool area, which is great news. We love to hear that the children enjoyed themselves and had a very special day with friends. Also, as discussed with her, we are following Alberta's Restriction Exemption Program. This means that we do not have to limit capacity in any of our fitness, breakfast or event spaces, provided that everyone provides their QR code or proof of a non-AHS covid test within the last 72 hours. We must maintain the fire code occupancies, which in the pool area yesterday, we were below. As you mentioned, everyone in the pool area had been checked for their records as shown by the wristbands they were wearing. We are proud of our team for following the Restriction Exemption Program to the tee, as it is important that we do our part to keep everyone safe. I hope this addresses some of your concerns and that you have a fantastic 2022.

Front desk staff were very friendly and efficient. Pool and hot tub was very clean. Breakfast bar was also very clean and well stocked - staff was happy. Overall very happy with my stay and will return without question

The staff at the Best Western Plus in Okotoks are very friendly and helpful. The rooms I stayed in, 314 was clean and spacious. The bed and pills are super comfy. Really nice to have a hot breakfast ready to pick up in the morning, especially with the ongoing COVID restrictions. Great location, lots of free parking and close to restaurants, groceries and gas. Will definitely stay here again.

Rooms were clean but no refreshing was done over the multiple days we were there - so did run out of towels/cups etc. Check in and out was fast. Employees were polite. Breakfast was...meh. Covid restrictions require you pick your meal the night before and select a time to attend however it starts too late to enjoy if you need to be anywhere (starts at 730am but takes 20 minutes to get according to the meal card). The one day of breakfast I was able to attend, the food was good however certain items were substituted without acknowledgement and meant we left hungry as you couldn't order more of any item (eg. One small glass of juice only, one slice of toast) and couldn't eat the substituted item due to dietary restraints.

Due to a large baseball tournament that weekend the room choices were limited but the staff were very helpfulll on obtaining a room for my son and grandson. Even their kitteh seemed to ehjoy the stay!

Hotel is new but doesn't feel like it. We were kept awake till 1:30 in the morning due to a noisy crowd in the hallway. They continued yelling at each other, and goofing around. One fell into our hotel door. We finally called to complain to the front desk, only to hear that they should settle down soon, because they just checked in. Sure takes along time to settle down since it was over 2 hours of them acting up in the hallway.

Although it is sometimes difficult to manage large groups of people, we do try to rectify problems as they present themselves and minimize noise disruptions so that you can enjoy a great sleep. The sad part is that those making the noise actually don't care :-( Thank you for bringing your concerns forward. We will use your feedback for future procedural development and staff training purposes.

While staying at the Okotoks Best Western on business the staff exceeded expectations at every turn. Great staff that work hard and work well together. When I first arrived I had them change my room because last minute I brought my daughter down with me. They accommodated/tolerated a last minute time change and order change for breakfast without blinking an eye. Finally at checkout the service and sense of humour of the front desk was the icing on the cake. Thanks for a great stay!

If Best Western hotels have properties that appear as great as this, forget about staying at any other chain of hotels. My first thoughts where that this is to good a deal. My first night stay in Best Western was enough to make me change my travel plans. I now put them at top of the list ahead of others . Rather pay for a stay that is completely satisfying than having to tolerate your stay. Most comfortable bed to sleep on in past 20 or more hotel stays.

My law firm recently hosted hearings at BW OKO as well as hosting group room bookings for attendees. Rooms were clean, quiet and front desk staff were great. Meeting facilities were top tier, food and beverage were on time and as ordered. I would book here again - alot of amenities in walking distance and almost everything within a 10 minute drive. No issues whatsoever.

Best Western in Okotoks is probably the best accommodations I have stayed at in the community. I have stayed there many times and have had no issues. Customer Service has always been great with ease of check ins and check outs. Only saturation I ran into the last time was there breakfast was shutdown due to the situation we are presently in. This was a bit inconvenient has I have stayed in other motels during this time and they always provided a take out breakfast. Nothing serious as I completely understand. All was good.

Had a blast celebrating my daughter 7th birthday despite covid resitrictions. We had 2 private swim times, had costco hotdogs for dinner, and McDonalds for breakfast. Great location, great pool, so much fun

The staff at this hotel go above and beyond I was very impressed. I won't stay anywhere else. Definitely will be back! They kept the pool open extended hours despite being fully booked. They just went above and beyond what I have ever experienced.

My experience staying here was exceptional from entering the beautifully decorated lobby, to interaction with the front desk staff, to entering our hotel room. Anyone who stays here will love the phenomenal way the staff treat you like gold. I only wish they would come up with an option for breakfast since the continental breakfast is closed due to Covid.

I use Best Western the most when I travel. This hotel didn't live up to the level I've grown accustomed to. Dirty reception floor, one staff wasn't helpful, soaps etc were horrible. I will try another company on my next trip.

Thank you for taking time to submit your comments. I am sorry to hear that the lobby floor was dirty on your arrival. We did host the Sheep River Health Trust's Avenue of Trees in the lobby this holiday season. At times, the lobby was busier than normal, however as soon as the people finished viewing all of the trees that were being auctioned off for charity, we did our best to keep up. The amenities used in our Guest Rooms are brand mandated and are used at all Best Western Plus hotels in North America. I apologize that they didn't meet your expectations. Very nice hosts and extremely friendly and helpful. Great rooms and were extremely clean and comfortable. Close to all stores for items that one would need for a stay away from home. Definitely lives up to the Best Western brand.

10/10. Breakfast was delicious, hot tub was open, Staff was helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The internet was easy to connect to and worked well with no lagging. Will stay here again.

I took my 2 grandchildren aged 10 and 12 for an overnight stay. We usually go to Mexico once a year and other places in Canada throughout the year, but because of covid we have not travelled in 2020. We had a great swim in the pool and enjoyed our room.

Upon arriving in our room discovered there was old food in our fridge. I Told front desk staff and indicated I was skeptic at how clean our room actually was. We then left hotel for five hours. Upon arrival back, front desk staff assured me that someone had been in our room, recleaned it and cleaned out the fridge. Got back to our room, opened fridge door and rotting food was STILL in the fridge. So did someone actually come clean it?!?!? And how long had it been in there to get to that point to begin with!!! Front desk lady then came up and cleaned it out herself. Mother in laws sink next room over would not drain. She alerted the front staff, but no one fixed it. On a plus side...that evening we did get a little extra swim time.

You can be assured that we have listened to them and will do our best to ensure that we make any necessary changes to improve the guest experience.

This is a very good hotel. Very friendly staff. Our room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was tasty. The internet was very fast. Location was very good as well. We stayed on our way back from a vacation. Would definitely stay here again. It was quiet as well.

Was one of the best accommodations I have stayed at. Kudos. Very friendly staff and great breakfast. Location was very accessible with a lot of amenities close by. Lots of parking. Would recommend this motel to anyone.

Kids loved the pool. Rooms were very nice. Staff professional and friendly to me and my herd of children. Love the walk in shower. Clean and positive atmosphere. Breakfast was good. Would stay here again.

My family and I stayed at the Best Western Plus in Okotoks on a quick trip to visit friends. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly and since we were travelling with a 5 year old granddaughter we required a suite with an extra room and kitchen. Thats what I booked. My surprise - the room had the kitchenette but also had 2 rooms with closing doors - A Bonus. Wonderful stay, comfy beds, A/C worked wonderfully (it was +30C that day). Staff was so helpful. Even called up to let us know one of the doors on our vehicle had been left open by mistake.

We had to find temporary residence in between the sale of our house and moving into our rental. We had limited options and chose Best Western in Okotoks as this establishment took pets. What a dismal failure the staff are! Covid19 has been a huge challenge for the world, not just our local economy. The cost of the hotel was supposedly discounted, however at over $150 per night with no services is appalling. This is a clear example of price gouging during a time of uncertainty and vulnerability. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone during this pandemic as they clearly have no idea how to adapt services without entirely compromising customer service.

Susan, I am sorry to hear that you feel that our staff are a “dismal failure”. As with any other business, we too are dealing with and adapting to the continual changes of COVID-19 as additional information becomes available. The 18 year old Guest Services Agent, who apparently gave you “dismal” services among other horrible things you chose to say on other social media sites, was simply doing the best she could given the situation at hand. That can be said for our entire team and we are proud of each and everyone of them. Our hotel, like many other hotels, is simply following the guidelines set forth by the federal and provincial governments along with their respective Health Agencies. Yes, our breakfast area is closed. Even though breakfast is not being offered at this time, we decided to provide a “Breakfast to Go” bag each morning to give our guests a fresh, nutritious start to their day. Yes, we have limited housekeeping at our property to protect our guests and staff due to social distancing rules. As discussed with you and all our guests, we are happy to provide additional amenities during your stay with us. Just let us know what you need and we will deliver the items to your guest room or you can pick them up at the front desk. These measures are taken to ensure that our staff and our guests are not in close contact with one another due to social distancing rules. As a result of these mandated changes, we discounted your rate for a kitchenette suite by 25%. In addition, because your mother is a BW Rewards member, booked the room and paid for it, you received an additional 10% discount. You chose to book an upgraded room type and regardless of whether there is a pandemic or not, the rate for a fully-equipped kitchenette suite (apartment sized fridge, 2 burner cooktop, OTR microwave, Keurig coffee maker and full set of dishes and cookware) is higher than that of a standard guest room. We provided you with an overall 35% discount on your guest room for your entire stay. This reduction in price during a pandemic is not “price gouging”. It is unrealistic to expect that a hotel can discount their rates 50 to 75% per night at the current time. This would not be financially feasible and hotels would have to temporarily close their doors until the current situation resolves itself. This would leave many people, like yourself, without a place to stay. As a hotel, we are trying to make the best out of a bad situation, maintain a positive attitude, keep our doors open, keep our employees on payroll and provide a service to those who need it. I am truly sorry to hear that your experience this past week was not what other guests normally report. Your concerns were discussed and addressed with both you and your mother Sheila several times in the past couple of days. Other than giving you the room at an extreme discount, I am uncertain what more we could do to accommodate your requests, comply with mandated measures and still maintain social distancing during COVID-19.

Back in February we had booked one night in Calgary - not Best Western (March 13) and 2 nights in Okotoks at the BEST WESTERN PLUS OKOTOKS INN & SUITES (March 20 & 21) - both for volleyball tournaments for 2 different grandchildren - both thru Hotels.com. We booked in a hurry and did not pay too much attention to the part that said "Special non-refundable rate" as no reason to think anything would happen. When COVID-19 hit and the government stated "no gatherings of more than 250 people" both tournaments were instantly cancelled. I immediately contacted the hotel in Calgary and was told to go thru Hotels.com but they would definitely refund us as soon as they received the cancellation notice from Hotels.com. We did that and within a few days the funds were received. Hotels.com also cancelled the Okotoks reservation but we needed to contact the hotel directly regarding the refund. Spoke to the manager and she said she had not received the cancellation notice from Hotels.com yet but was also adamant that even if she had there would not be any refund even though our cancellation was due to something outside of our control. For seniors this was a lot of money ($300.98) - for now this info is being passed to family, friends, and volleyball clubs but am sure it will get to other sporting organizations - wonder how the government would feel especially when they are trying to help people financially etc during this trying time! We have no idea what this property is like but the kindness, understanding and customer service definitely leave a lot to be desired!!

Cathy, I understand your frustration as we often experience frustration with third party booking agents as well. To date, we have not received a cancellation for your reservation from Hotels.com. You will need to contact Hotels.com directly as we are unable to change or cancel any third party reservations at the hotel level. This is similar to booking through AirMiles or Aeroplan. The car rental agency or airline can't be contacted directly to cancel, you have to call the original booking source to cancel or make changes to any booking/reservation. As with the the hotel in Calgary, once cancellation is confirmed in writing through the original booking channel, we can make changes to your reservation and would be happy to do so. Most times, Hotels.com offers a lower rate and therefore is non-cancellable. Next time, please contact us directly and we would be happy to match your online rate and we have more flexibility to work with our guests in situations like this.

I stayed at BW Okotoks for months on business. I put up with extremely noisy conditions every weekend resulting in loss of sleep multiple times (hockey and ringette tournaments). As my job was drawing to a close I told the front desk when my last day would be. 2 mornings later I get a letter slipped under my door informing me of a $1000 charge to be due to damage to the ceiling of my room! (There was some minimal damage, looks like hockey pucks or ringette rings, likely $100 max). I immediately brought it to Nicola as she was the author of the letter and was met with hostility and plain ignorance like I've never experienced in my twenty plus years living in hotels. After the General Manager avoided my calls for a bit she finally decided to call me back and I was met with even more attitude and disgusting behavior. I continue to fight with them about this and am beyond disgusted with my treatment by their management. Don't ever book here

Cory, I am not sure why you feel that I was avoiding your call. Due to COVID, we are working with reduced staffing and as a result, I started work yesterday at 11:30 am. Upon arrival at the hotel, I received your message and gave you a call. As discussed with you, I inspected the guest room the day prior and took pictures of the damage along with our Maintenance Manager. The pictures we have clearly show the imprints of the tracks and handles of your exercise wheel in the ceiling of the guest room in 6 separate locations. We do not mark up the cost of repairs to our guests and had it been a simple repair, our Maintenance Manager would have been able to repair it himself. I also told you that you would only be charged for the actual cost to repair the damage once the quotation was received. Lastly, when you acknowledged the damage and said that it wouldn't cost more than $100, I tried to compromise with you and said that if the repairs were less than $100 that we would not charge you and we would absorb the cost ourselves. I tried to work with you to resolve this situation, and said I would get back to you with more information as soon as I had it. Since the weekend is upon us, I told you I might not receive the quotation back until Monday. I am sorry that you feel our efforts to resolve this situation were "disgusting".

I appreciate that I was able to check in a little early, it made my life easier . I was staying with one child, to attend a hockey tournament. There was a lot of inconsiderate guests in the hallway in the evening and I had to call at 11pm to ask the front desk to come and manage the situation and they did so right away. I had a great sleep after that! The breakfast is great, generous and there is a lot of choices. There were towels at the pool - usually during tournament weekends hotels always run out.

Noise complaints from our guests, directed to the front desk staff, are taken seriously and staff do their best to manage any disruptive activity and disturbance that may occur. Everyone was very nice. Everything was clean. The food was great. I checked into the hotel and signed a paper stating that I had two pets. I also signed an invoice of how much I payed for the two pets and I made sure it said two. My invoice that I received under my door in the morning stated that I had 3 pets. How the amount of animals I had with me changed on the invoice after I had signed and paid for it is concerning to me. The money was refunded which took 20 minutes because the girl at the desk was unable to find the refund password. I am frustrated because I questioned the amount when checking in. I was adding up the cost of the room which was $130 with 2 animals to add on $25 more per pet to the total amount which would be $180 plus tax would be a wee bit more. The total came out to be $228.90 that would mean that the “total tax” would be $48.25 which is why I was originally confused. The lady at the front desk reassured me that “there were a lot of taxes when using a hotel” listing off the different things the taxes cover. I was fortunate to find the mistake. I do not blame the wonderful ladies that were working the front desk. It falls on the management because the staff was not trained properly. I shouldn't have been rung up for 3 pets. There should have been a backup plan for the password rather than having to take 20 minutes to get ahold of the manager. Overall the staff was wonderful and the stay was great.

I found the staff was very courteous and helpful. I found it strange there was no bathtub only a shower. The room was well kept and the bed comfortable. We had a king size bed and I liked the addition of the couch which was also comfortable. The restaurant is excellent and the breakfast was excellent. The noise in the hallway could be easily heard in the room which was bothersome.

Thank you for taking the time to review our property on TripAdvisor. We are pleased to hear that you noticed the cleanliness of the guest room and the comfort of the bed and couch. Our restaurant, Benchmark Tap & Table, has recently opened and we love hearing that the food & service for the restaurant and our complimentary breakfast were excellent. The majority of our guests prefer a shower as compared to a tub, so we only have a few bathtubs on property. Please do not hesitate to let us know that you would prefer a tub at the time of reservation and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

My daughters and I enjoyed our stay here for the better part of a week, as we waited for movers to arrive with our vehicle and household stuff. The location is perfect, with a variety of stores and fast food establishments handy. Breakfast was varied and delicious.

This is a great hotel for teams because the breakfast is so convenient. The hotel staff were ALL so friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. They are fully stocked with extra amenities if you run out or forgot something. That was much appreciated!

The king suite kitchenet seemed like a good idea for a family with Twin 18 month old babies and a large dog. The space was alright , there was no way to wash or dry dishes, the cleanliness of the room was suspect as the kids found old wrappers and a toothpaste cap under the bed skirt. For the money we paid, it was horrible. This is a $100 hotel room anywhere else in Alberta. On the bonus side, the pool was nice....

A few weeks ago, we were awarded the BW Chairman's Award and are ranked in the top 5% of all Best Western's in North America for cleanliness. It is disappointing to read your comments and will use your feedback for future procedural development and staff training purposes. I am pleased to hear that you found the space of the king kitchenette suite adequate for your needs. The kitchenette is not intended to be a full kitchen, so while the countertop is not oversized, it typically meets the majority of guests needs. I apologize that this wasn't the case for your family. We do have a 2 bedroom suite, that offers a full kitchen with a dishwasher, if that is of interest to you. Not relaxing or very enjoyable. Pool area dimly lit, noisy with too many people inside. Hot tub overcrowded and very unrelaxing, weak jets and mildly warm. Breakfast was like sitting in a high school cafeteria. Did not go back on second morning.Waiting for food while kids barge in front for second helpings. Plates, garbage cans full, people checking in with dogs. Lobby cold due to doors opening and closing. People all over fire place not lit. Totally un-relaxing and cheap. A shame as the staff are trying very hard. Booked in advance but weren't told a volleyball tournament was being held. Won't stay again if something like that occurs.

I am sorry to have read that you were disappointed with your stay. With a popular hotel such as the BW Plus Okotoks Inn & Suites, we do tend to sell out quite frequently. As a result of a full hotel, our amenities may see the stresses of an increased number of guests. Similar to trying to get a table at a restaurant on a Friday evening, there may be at times a wait for their use. As our hotel is built for averages in an attempt to limit our carbon footprint, including the pool, fitness centre, and breakfast room, there are times when the number of guests exceed the maximum use of these areas. We do our best to keep people moving along, keep the amenities well stocked and keep the hotel clean. Whether you are 'part of the sports teams', in visiting family, on business or just passing through, we look forward to having everyone stay at our hotel.

The staff were very friendly and sociable. The hotel is very nice. Comfy beds and nice showers. The pool area was nice and the hottub felt good after a cold day out in the field. The price was fairly reasonable and well worth it.

This is your average-jo kinda place. The rooms are clean, the walls a little thin, but fun pool/slide for kids. My biggest problem was trying to do a group booking. I called the front desk, but was told it had to go through the manager. I don't know what you have to do to get the manager to accept your business. I left voicemails, sent an email, called the front desk again. The front desk person told me she gets this complaint a lot, but that I would eventually hear from her. After a week, I gave up and all 11 rooms were booked individually. Were it not for the pool, I definitely would not have used this place. I feel I wasted so much time trying to get in touch with the manager for the group booking that I won't come back here.

We had to stay there for a few days while waiting for our home furnitures to show up, we moved from another province. The hotel was fantastic, nice room, very comfortable beds, very clean and the pool is fantastic for the whole family. Staff is great and very friendly and it is only minutes to Calgary

This hotel is clean in both the common areas and guest suites, the decor is professional and warm (love the fireplace in the lobby). The staff are amazing, really go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable. The fitness facility has everything you need. 2 minute walk to the grocery store (and many other stores). Ample parking. Pool with water slide is great for kids! Highly recommended.

Check in during busy period was a bit of a wait but two ladies at counter worked efficiently and thourougly to accommodate guests. Many young familes for hockey weekend kept adequate staff busy. Our grandchildren enjoyed the pool and waterslide which was clean and well serviced.

Very easy to access off of Hwy. #2, close to great stuff like Costco, McDonalds, the usual and on the footsteps of the mountains and the deep south of Alberta. Room was very comfortable and the breakfast is better than a fast food place.

Easy to find and parking is a breeze albeit nothing under cover. I stay there for work and with a 1 ton truck parking can be pain sometimes at other places. Awesome beds, would like to know what mattresses they use.

A short half hour drive south of Calgary is the town of Okotoks. This almost new Best Western is super clean, with staff who are true gems. When the staff found out that I would be leaving before breakfast they offered to start breakfast a full half hour early.. I was able to have a toast bagel with cream cheese and get on the road earlier than I planned. The front desk staff are really personable.. this is a must place to stay if you want to stay. "just outside of Calgary"..

From the moment we entered the lobby and announced who we were, the staff welcomed us with a warm welcome........ almost felt family like with such respect...... The services, prompt.. efficient...friendly, as if the task for you is the only thing they have to do today.. Not hurried or rude with a smile.... we all have been there. Clearly clean with a fresh polished look at all times Linens where soft, and did not have the bleachy smell. The location has easy access to their large parking lot. And in ten minutes you can be in any part of the city.. driving of course And the view of the mountains The pool and hot tub .... very clean. Ample towels comfortable sitting areas The only negative comment is the exercise equipment..... it isn't the best.

Very clean and staff are great! Kids enjoyed the Pool, Hot tub and Water Slide. Breakfast was great. (Homemade) Waffle machine was a hit. Close to Costco, winners, timmys etc. Was in town for Okotoks Oilers hockey and rink was 5 mins away.

We were in the area for a sports tournament, so took the recommendation of previous participants and they didn't lead us astray. We had a King with a pullout and our room was clean and comfortable. Did hear a couple of dog barks, as the hotel is evidently pet friendly, but nothing too bad. Breakfast was good, pool was good, staff was friendly. Would stay here again on our next visit

Hotel rooms could REALLY need some work. Rust in corner of showers, now grouting around toilets, grout in bathroom stained and dirty, Microwaves ! Not fastened to anything so be careful opening doors. The whole thing may come out. The revolving plate wasn't fixed to anything so it just wobbled around and the answer was... it broke and they couldn't get one to fit. OK!!! I was there 10 days so it was very expensive ordering meals, eating out, because microwaving was an adventure to say the least. No power level on microwave why?Answer: Because they have all been disabled. OK The only things I can say positive about this place was Autumn the Housekeeper, a kindhearted, helpful, sweet angel. Give her more hours and KEEP HER. I couldn't get my wifi hooked up with the password given at the front desk so called the hotel tech. He couldn't manage it because " it's an Apple" Later I tried the password with no caps and one work and it worked. Great wife reception . They did bring me breakfast three of ten days so that was great service but Ron on Front desk didn''t bother to call back even. Later he just said " we don't normally do that."

Hi Suzanne, Thank you for submitting another review for the Best Western Plus Okotoks Inn & Suites. I will do my best to address all the concerns that you have identified. With the extremely hard water in Okotoks, sometimes we do get some hard water staining in our showers. We try to manage and remove the staining on a very regular basis. We are very highly rated for our cleanliness of the hotel in general, so I am sorry to hear that you felt that our hotel was not clean as a result. For the toilets, we don't grout all the way around them so that if there happens to be a leak in the toilet, we will notice it as compared to a leak being hidden in the walls and floors. The microwaves in the majority of hotels will never be permanently affixed to the cabinets. This allows us to remove the microwave and clean the shelf area. If you happen to lean on the door of the microwave, it may tip a bit, but in order for the microwave to fall out, it would have to be pulled out quite far from its shelf. The microwave plate has 3 grooves on the bottom of it, so that it can spin on the inside bottom of the shelf. If the plate is bumped off these 3 grooves, it simply has to be moved a bit and the turntable will spin without wobbling. For the power, we do not have the ability to disable the power settings on the microwaves. They come factory pre-set from the manufacturer. I am pleased to hear that while we don't have a restaurant or room service on property, that we were able to accommodate your request on several days during your stay and bring you breakfast to your room. Since we are extremely busy in our breakfast area and don't have staff for room service, sometimes this isn't possible. I am pleased that you were able to connect to the wireless internet. Right by grocery, gas,everything you need. Booked by phone with a real person at the desk with lots of patience. Good breakfast with a smiling staff. Could use a little more fruit but it was all tasty .

I can't say enough how much we enjoyed our recent stay while attending a family wedding in Okotoks. Everyone was very professional and friendly right from the minute we checked in through to the day we checked out. The good old fashioned prairie hospitality was front and center. The rooms were well appointed and clean and quiet. The breakfast was also very busy for a reason. Great food and they made sure you never ran out of anything. Always smiling and willing to assist with anything you may require. A very well run hotel. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the Okotoks area.

We have stayed here several times. It is conveniently located. Our business is in the south end of Calgary and it's quick and easy to get where we need to go. Costco is right next door so that's handy and there are decent restaurants not too far away. Whenever I have had an issue they addressed it right away.

This was the hotel that our son and daughter-in-law chose as lodging for their wedding guests. If there are any downfalls whatsoever, those are quickly forgotten, as the staff is exceptional. When a hotel employee asks you the day after the wedding "well Mom & dad, did you get your son married off"...that pretty much says it all...they are very attentive. No room complaints, no pool room complaints, no continental breakfast complaints (other than 4-place seating limitations), no location and amenity proximity complaints...this lodging is very adequate...

What a fantastic hotel! All of the staff that I interacted with were very friendly, helpful, and professional. The place is kept impeccably clean. Beds were comfortable, hot tub was hot, and the pool was cool. Only downside was the breakfast offerings. Not really an issue as I had a kitchenette suite and rarely eat breakfast anyways.

I have stayed at Best Western Hotels in most of my travels in North America. I have yet to experience any concern or problem. The staff are unusually helpful and friendly. The room are always clean and tidy. I always use the Internet and have never experienced any problems. I appreciate having breakfast at the hotel ( as I always do in Europe and Japan) as it allows me to go back to my room and get prepared for the days events. When available Best Western is my only choice, The old saying "If it aint broken don't fix it" or if you have a great experience, try it again!

Got to the hotel, plenty of parking. The check in went very good. When we got to the room and started unpacking, than started to see that the room was so dusty. After unpacking, my wife went down to the front desk to get some wipes to clean our room a little. Maybe we should have inspected our room before unpacking.

At 175.00 per night I expect much more. this was night number 14 in Canada on this trip in the most expensive hotel of all the hotels I've stayed so far in Alberta. they did not have an upgrade for me so I had to settle for a queen room with a very springy bed and pillows the size of small footballs. It was the worst night sleep of all the nights here in Canada this trip also so to top it off I missed breakfast and was not happy with this stay. So out of for Best Western that I stayed in this trip it ranks the very lowest although it is supposed to be a plus. Edmonton Calgary Drayton valley and rimbey all had much better Best western's at almost half the price.

Unfortunately, with a popular hotel such as the BW Plus Okotoks Inn & Suites, we do tend to sell out quite frequently. As such, upgrades are sometimes not available. This property was well maintained with a excellent buffet breakfast. The pool was excellent and my family was the only one in it at the time we chose. I would recommend this hotel. The rooms were clean with ample amenities.

We spent two nights here and were quite impressed. The hotel is clean, staff are friendly and our room was comfortable. Their deluxe breakfast changed a little each day which was nice. It is across the street from a Costco, Save On Foods (with a Starbucks) and Tim Hortons. It is a 20 minute walk to the ball stadium. We found it quiet which is a bonus especially since a ball team was staying here during our stay. Their fitness room was put to good use. I noticed that the pool and hit tub were popular.

We loved everything about our stay at this property! The complimentary hot/cold breakfast selection was amazing! Okotoks is a really neat place to explore! Especially Old Towne Okotoks (downtown)! Lots of walking/biking paths which we really enjoyed! We'll definitely be back and would choose this hotel property again!

Good price, newer hotel in Okotooks, close to stores...Costco, grocery and liquor stores etc. Only restaurants are Tim Hortons and McDonalds, otherwise you have to walk more than 30mins or drive. The pool wasn't working one day, breakfast is very good and actually had a variety. We would stay here again.

Was traveling with a baseball team and the whole team was booked at the Best Western in Calgary. The games got moved to Okotoks last minute due to rain. The Calgary Best Western let the entire team move their booking to the Okotoks Best Western at the extreme last minute. This was incredible customer service, an example of this Calgary Best Western putting the customer first. We travel every year all year long with sports teams, and I will book the Best Western every chance I have.

My wife and I prefer to stay in Best Western hotels when ever possible. That is why we came across this hotel shortly after was built. So, this was our third visit and I believe not the last. Nice, quiet location across from Costco. The hotel is new. Staff friendly and very helpful. The location is far enough from traffic to be quiet and close enough to continue to Calgary if so desired.

Stayed in this Best Western Plus as a quick one night stopover and were extremely pleased. The property is well located, immaculately clean and fresh ... obviously well maintained. The staff was very friendly. The complimentary casual breakfast buffet, with myriad choices, is served in a clean and bright area adjacent to the lobby. Internet connection was strong and free, the large parking lot is directly in front of the hotel and very well lit. This is an outstanding budget hotel that I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone for a quick stop over. Well done, Best Western!

Once more,Best Western lives up to its reputation for excellence in quality and comfort. The setting, entrance and facilities are inviting. The staff are prompt, personable, professional and proficient. Will not hesitate to stay at the Best Western Plus next time we are in Okotoks.

We had a great stay here. Nice, clean rooms. And the breakfast was a step above the normal, with some homemade goodies too! Pool had a great water slide too. Easy to access, and great location, walking distance to restaurants and stores.

We stayed here for a basketball tournament in Okotoks. Family-Friendly staff, clean and new rooms and amenities, great pool & breakfast! We felt super welcome and looked after. Great for families and groups !

We had an excellent short stay at Okotoks Best Western Plus Inn & Suites. It was too short to enjoy all the amenities, but I would return without question. Easily accessible room on the main was a PLUS for my elder family member in a wheelchair. Shopping across the street, Costco, gas bar etc, etc. Okotoks is a lovely small city, easily able to find where we needed to within the city.

I opted for the go green option when I checked in . Told they wont change bedding everyday. Your right housekeeping does not even enter the room to leave clean towels, empty garbages or replace plastic glasses or coffee supplies. Will not opt for that again, The Price for the hotel with no housekeeping for 4 days was not satisfactory. The hotel was great, breakfast was great, the staff were good (didnt see housekeeping staff) and they were very helpful with the group of hockey players and families.

We had a lovely stay and the staff are all fantastic!!! The breakfast was awesome ( loved the home made granola and muffins) My kids had so much fun at the pool and water slide. They were so happy it was open till 10.

This was the second time I brought a hockey team to this hotel and they are very accommodating. Hotel is clean and staff is friendly and helpful. Kids had a blast! We will definitely be back next year for sure!

Our novice (ages 7 - 8) hockey team stayed at this hotel for a hockey tournament. The staff were great and very accomodating!! The swimming pool was a hit with the kids and the hot tub for the parents :). The free breakfast had lots of options for everyone and was very tasty. Right across the road was shopping; Costco, Winners, Save on Foods just to name a few. Great hotel, would definitely recommend!!

We stayed at the hotel to be able to share time with our family and the grandchildren! It was an amazing afternoon and evening with the family. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. I will definetly return to this hotel.

We stayed here for 2 nights in January. The best: the staff; extremely friendly and helpful. Really, really nice people. The good: the hotel seems fairly new. It is very clean and well appointed. The breakfast was great. The hotel is conveniently located close to a Save-On-Food and fast food places. WIFI was good. The not so good: the bedding - we didn't find the mattress or pillows comfortable; we didn't have the best sleep. Also the hot tub was not terribly hot. My rating of 3/5 stars may be a bit harsh (should be a 3.5) but when you don't have a good sleep 2 nights in a row, that's important to note, in my books. Cheers and thanks for reading.

The hotel was very accomodating for our team booking. They even helped us get more rooms after some missed the booking deadline. The pool and water slide was fun for the kids. The breakfast had enough options for everyone. Check in amd out was easy. The room was clean and comfortable.

A great new hotel in Okotoks...large rooms with small fridge and microwave. Also a great swimming pool and waterslide for kids with workout facilities as well. Quiet and immaculate rooms plus outstanding breakfast in the morning. We stayed for a soccer tournament and this BW was perfect for our large group!

We stayed at this Hotel on Dec26-28th 2018, It was one of the biggest mistakes we made , we were coming to visit family members in Okotoks for a couple days. This Hotel repeatedly gave us false information ,it seemed as though the front desk staff didnt care at all about the patrons ,I came back from shopping and walked right by the front desk where there was a fellow just standing there doing nothing, I greeted him and went up to my room I had to to confirm our extra night booking that we added that very day so I called the desk, no one answered...called again ...so I walked back down to find the front desk agent just sitting there ,I guess he didnt feel like answering the phone! The room had no bath tub and the hot water took literally 7 minutes to warm up! Rain shower could not rinse the soap off me! We left with no receipt as the desk agent could not check us out accurately and required a manager that was on holidays...This whole trip was paid for by air miles and we made no room charges. I returned home to find out that this hotel had over $500 is pending charges that they had applied to our credit card!!!!!! Its been a horrible nightmare speaking and dealing with this Manager, and so far we have got nothing sorted out. Please save yourself the grief and frustration of staying here. Shilah Regina,Sask.

Hello, per our responses to your numerous emails, texts, other on line posts, and our lengthy conversation, we discussed the issues regarding the room and forwarded you the evidence of the room status as found by housekeeping upon your departure. We also discussed your hotel receipt and because you booked through Air miles, we have no receipt to provide you because as you mention everything was booked through air miles, you have to contact air miles for a receipt. As well, we discussed your extra night booked and confirmed with you that you had booked for an incorrect night, per the confirmation email you received, that the front desk team found and corrected on your behalf, instead of letting the extra night no show charge to go through. We do our best to accommodate our fine guests during their stay, and try to correct any issues they have during their stay. To read the issues now being mentioned in your post would be disappointing to say the least as nothing of the kind has ever been mentioned in any of your previous correspondence or direct verbal conversations. We are certainly disappointed to read afterward, that the issues with the room and water and the lack of accommodation by the front desk team that you mention took place during your stay. This hotel is clean, comfortable, well situated and the staff go out of their way to make a positive difference. We stayed in the King kitchenette suite for 11 nights over Christmas season and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast has a good selection with something for everyone. The bed was quite comfortable. I found the shower had great water pressure which is something I really appreciate. We will definitely be staying there again.

I just returned from two weeks of staying at this hotel while doing a medical locum. I cannot praise the staff high enough. The standards of care, professionalism and thoughtfulness exceeded my expectations. Any minor issues with the room were dealt with promptly. Chrissy the head housekeeper supported me when I had issues with the room, the maintenance guy (sorry didn't know his name) fixed my sink. Matt repeatedly brought me extras of things that I required. The room was lovely, a large king with separate living room and kitchenette. The location was perfect and I felt safe and secure. I would definitely recommend this location and Best Western. And the breakfast was great. All the staff smiling and singing away. It was quite difficult making my own breakfast this morning!

We stayed at this hotel under sad circumstances, the death of a loved one. We were a large family group and they (Chrissy and the staff) treated us so lovingly and compassionately during a sad time. Chrissy knew the majority of us by first name, she made sure we were comfortable and allowed us to use the meeting room to spend time together as a family. We have never received such great care from a hotel before and would recommend this Best Western over and over again!

The rooms were fine, the breakfast was good, but the customer service was awful. We called the day before our stay to see if could check in early and were told we could check in at 2. Upon arrival, the staff said that there would be a $30 fee for checking in before 3, even though our room was ready and sitting empty. The same thing happened to another family in our group. When I told the manager upon checkout there wasn't any apology or anything. We were there with a group (about 12 people) and we were told that we couldn't have any food in the breakfast area (it was about 7 pm), so we had to eat in the lobby on the couches and chairs next to the front desk. I'm sure that everyone that came in enjoyed seeing us sitting eating pizza in the lobby. I have never been to a hotel that cared so little for the comfort of their guests. It is very high priced for the quality of service that you receive. I would rather drive in from Calgary or High River than be treated that way.

As mentioned to you while you were in the hotel, and per your other media posts, we do our best to accommodate as many early check ins as possible, we only ask you call the day of arrival, and not the night before because of our high occupancy on weekends we get so many late check out requests, we don't know if we can accommodate both, so we won't know until the day of if we can accommodate your request.. Regarding your room, when you arrived over 2 hours before check in your room was not ready because of those checking out late, but yes we did have a room available, just not the one you requested which was a room specifically requesting 2 queen beds, but we did have one, and many hotels have adopted an early check in fee, so it is not un-common for hotels to charge the fee. Also, as mentioned to you, because we do not have a restaurant, we do not have an F&B licence that allows for outside Food & beverages in our breakfast area. We are always pleased to offer to book you a meeting space ahead of time for your group of 12, so that we can form you what we can offer you in our meeting space and such, and what the limitations of our meeting space is, knowing ahead of time we are not permitted to allow outside Food & beverage in our meeting rooms. To ask the front desk at 5 pm on a Friday at the time of arrival for a meeting space is unreasonable because they don't have the capabilities to do so. When teams are booking the hotel, we have them sign on the group agreement if they want meeting space to let us know ahead of time, so everyone is informed. There was no indication you wanted a gathering area. Groups know well in advance when they are travelling together if they are planning a meal together, we just ask if that is what they want, please let us know in advance of arrival and we can certainly make those arrangements for you, so there is no inconvenience to you and the rest of your team. What other hotels do and how they manage the laws are up to them. We take great care and pride in the comfort of our guests, and we do our best to accommodate as many people as possible. Very clean property. It also helps that it is a new property. Breakfast was wonderful. Just about the best breakfast at any 3 star hotel I have stayed - it actually has variety (all food groups). Check in was a breeze. It would have been even better if they had built an actual restaurant on site, so guests wouldn't have to drive into town for dinner.

Hands down one of the nicest and cleanest places you'll stay. Great attentive staff. Can't go wrong staying here at the Best Western in Okotoks. Parking lot is well lighted at night so you feel very safe early in the morning and after the sun goes down.

Very clean rooms with nice layout and space. I wish the bed was more firm but my preference. Nice size coffee station with extra counter space, was please it came with a mini fridge and microwave. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was the typical hot breakfast offer. I recommend this hotel.

We checked in for 4 nights.I preauthorized payment for the first 2, along with the damage deposit. After staying for 2 nights we went to pay for the remaining 2.At this time we were told by management (Nicola) that we actually had to pay nearly $300 more for the 2 nights we were there. I noticed our check-in paperwork had been fraudulently changed, the rate quote I had initialled had been stroked out, and she had put a value over a hundred dollars more as the new value. This is illegal.There was miscommunication upon the booking and I explained this, but all the paperwork I had initialled was the price I had paid. I also told her she needed to talk to her employee. She was 100% not willing to look into this, she just wanted my money and became very aggressive.You could see in her eyes she enjoyed her power position, and the ability it gave her to have the upper hand on someone. She is one of the most unprofessional managers I have ever come across. I would never visit this establishment again, nor advise anyone else to.

Per our conversation & per your other on line posts, you booked a room with 2 queen beds, of which you received a confirmation indicating as such. When you arrived you informed the desk agent you required a room with three beds, which our 2 bedded queens do not have. She was able to provide you an executive suite that could accommodate your needs, but also told you the rate and you agreed to it. To suggest your rate was changed or the desk manager scammed you and was rude would be completely incorrect, as you mentioned in our conversation you were out of line with our desk agent, and were angry because as you mentioned, your boss would never allow you to expense a $285.00 room. This is a new property and you can tell: nice and clean, comfortable room. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great, with nice egg-options and regular yoghurt (besides the sweetened and flavoured ones we don't like) with delicious granola!

The place has clean smell free rooms close to most amenities. A few small issues. One checking in, the manager changed our room unknown to us - they did change it back. We were also not properly informed of the breakfast hours when we checked in - resulting in us being about 20 minutes late on our last day there. The kitchen staff were nice enough to fix us something.

The staff was lovely very helpful and kind. The amenities were great. The room was lovely, clean, and quiet. There were only two fall backs. There was only one trolly for taking bags to your room - they should probably have 3 with so many people checking in and out. And secondly the smoking area right where people park to unload their vehicles was a bit of a drag since we had a very young baby with us... (maybe shuffle it a bit more to the side rather...?)

This was my first stay at this property. Great easy location, kinda quiet area, grocery store nearby, wonderful staff, good workout room, good parking, better than average breakfast BECAUSE of the staff in the breakfast room. It's the same boring egg, bacon and sausage everyone has BUT they put a little extra into it by diced veggies, extra cheese and put there little flare on it making a boring breakfast something better. Also they do a good job cleaning too. My only issue at first was weekends kids run the halls and I had to call and complain to get it to stop... not cool when your there to rest cause your WORKING AND NOT ON HOLIDAY. I was there about 11 or 12 days and the last 3 days I had to encounter dogs... gees I didn't even know they were pet friendly until a dog started barking ALL DAY on 4th floor. Most BWs with pet policy keep the animals to ONLY 1ST floor and it should be PET ROOMS ONLY so people who travel for a living has the CHOICE AND RIGHT to not be in a room animals have been in. with this said if I had known on check in I would have stayed only 1 or 2 nights and moved on to a human only hotel. I hate this hotel allows pets cause it's a great location with a friendly staff but I'm not paying too dollar (165.00 cad) per night for a pet hotel.

Great location for Okotoks. Lovely hotel apart from our room at the end of floor 2 and opposite the ice machine that was loud and woke my wife and I several times during the night. Breakfast was fabulous!

This location is conveniently located close to the south end of Okotoks. It is close to Costco and shopping but not that far from the heart of the town as well. The room was nicely decorated and of course; boasted the super comfortable beds and pillows that Best Western is noted for. The breakfast was wonderful and offered great variety. Super clean and very quiet. Be sure to add this location to your travels if you can!

Recently stayed overnight at the Best Western Plus for a wedding being held nearby. The room was very clean and comfortable. Service was great! Huge shout out to “Rod” at the front desk. He was super cheery and pleasant to deal with during check in. Rod was very informed and acted like the hotels number one fan which is great to see from an employee!

I stay at hotels all over the province and first visit to this BW and was impressed. Comfortable bed, friendly staff, everything with the hotel was awesome. The only thing I did not like is nothing to do with hotel itself, other guests that just dont think. Came down for breakfast and there was a puppy running around in the breakfast area. Really? Some people have no sense. Besides people having allergies (myself included), having a non service dog in an area with food I am sure could get the hotel in hot water. So to the guest with barking puppy, get some common sense please. To the hotel, thank you for an awesome room and friendly smiles.

The front desk staff charged my card for 3 nights and I only stayed there for 1 night. I followed up with them numerous time and they kept repeating that the manager "Berry" has to handle this, who is USELESS. Fortunately, my American Express will protect me. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious. It is conveniently located. The bed was comfy, which is super important to me. The breakfast in the morning was excellent, especially the eggs. Yum. :-) Only one thing: be aware that the "king suite" isn't actually a suite. There is not a separate bedroom, just a small wall, sort of dividing the space. So if you're looking for some privacy, you won't get it with a "suite".

Stayed here for a baseball tournament, hotel is located close to grocery stores, cotsco, restaurants. Will definitely recommend this hotel. Rooms were clean. Swimming pool was good for the kids. Breakfast has a variety of options and service was great.

I am really enjoying my stay here. The room is spacious and I love that it actually has real lighting - like, ceiling lights, in addition to lamps! There's even a nice bright light in the shower! The hotel is really nicely located too. It's just across the street from Costco, Save-On-Foods, Tim Horton's, McDonald's, etc. There's a beautiful neighbourhood just across the highway that has some beautiful walking trails. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I'm ever back in Okotoks!

This hotel is my usual preference when I come to Alberta for business or pleasure. Spotless rooms and high quality bedding make my stay most relaxing. A restaurant is a must though as there are no restaurants around other than fast food.

We held a day of meetings at this hotel. The rooms were very clean, breakfast was very good and staff were very helpful. The fitness facility was good but if you want to lift weights the universal type machine takes some getting used to.

The hotel was very nice and the rooms were decent. The pullout couch was very uncomfortable and the fridge was very noisy. However, it was quiet and very accessible to shopping and restaurants. The free breakfast was decent but was packed by 7 am so we didn't really take advantage of it. Staff was very helpful and polite. I would stay there again but in a room with 2 queen beds. Kids liked the pool and waterslide.

Could not ask for anything more. Friendly, helpful staff. Privacy, clean, comfortable. Couldn't hear other guests when they were running water, shower was good size with great water pressure and temperature. All of the small details were taken care of right.

This hotel is an honest to goodness great place to stay. You feel welcome from the minute you walk in the door to the time you leave. The staff know you by name and treat you with respect and kindness. The minute you walk in the door you know you have arrived at a safe and clean facility. The elevators are always shiny and very clean. The carpet in the halls is always clean even with the number of crews they have staying at their facility. The rooms are immaculate and reflect the care that goes into every detail in it. The breakfast room as well is always in a neat and tidy fashion with an excellent variety of food to chose from. I highly recommend this hotel and praise its staff for a job well done!

Excellent staff good breakfast clean room easy access to mall and Costco, my kids very love their swimming pool specially the slides and even the fitness room they have a good condition equipment and the staff ate great and very helpfull

We were in room 206 and there was a dog barking in room 201 from 9:30 till midnight on Friday night. Called front desk at 10:30 and they said they would check it out. I don't know the whole situation but maybe the staff should ask for a contact number (cell phone number) when guest check in with pets and leave the pet unattended for a period of time.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights over the Easter weekend while visiting family. The location of this hotel was the main reason for our booking as our family is close by. The included breakfast was also a deciding factor. The rooms were very nice, but seemed a bit dark in their decor. Everything was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower was fantastic, with great water pressure. The included breakfast was what we expected and didn't disappoint or overly impress. The hotel hosted an Easter egg hunt for their young guests on Easter Sunday which we thought was really thoughtful! Overall, this was a great place to lay our heads at night and get ready for the day in the morning but didn't offer any real frills otherwise. We'll likely return again in the future when visiting family and would recommend this hotel.

My son's Paw Patrol water bottle was accidentally left at the hotel and when I called them after arriving home they said they had the bottle at the front desk. I was relieved because it was a birthday gift to my 3yr old son. They said they would gladly hold it until I made shipping arrangements. Something that seems like a small favour is huge to my son.??

Check in was quick and easy. Dana was training and did a very good job after only being there for a week or so. Room was clean and presents well. Breakfast was very good. Even think I saw the GM there on a Sun. That's dedication. I will definitely be back.

A newer best western, it's clean quiet, located in a strip mall area, so you can get your Timmy's or Starbucks. I was just passing through, need a place for the night it was conveniently located. I would stay there again if I was in the area

We stayed here for our Soccer Tournament. It was a nice, clean hotel. Quiet up on the fourth floor. It was nice that they put us on the same floor for those that came Friday night. The boys hung out together and they were all close by so we could keep an eye on them. The rooms were nice. Had a big light in the middle, not just a few small lamps to turn on. The showers were really big and well set up. The only thing I noticed was no fan in the bathroom! the mirror steamed up and the only was to clear it without waking the people in my room was to use the blow dryer! The girls at the front desk were friendly and the ladies at the breakfast counter were always keeping the breakfast filled and ready.

We stayed in Okotoks at the Best Western during a soccer tournament weekend. The location of this hotel is good for this event. They handled our group well along with several other teams at the same location. We had a suite on the top floor and so had plenty of room along with a small fridge and microwave. Breakfast was included and it was ok, but not outstanding.

Very impressed with the staff and their service. We were a little needy and they supported everything. Our group had 7 rooms and needed to make a few changes. The staff were courteous and easy to work with to make the changes.

This is a great newer hotel. The staff was very friendly. Rooms are clean and spacious but dry. Building was quiet and clean. A wide variety of choice at the continental breakfast. Will definitely stay again.

Loved our 4 nights at the BW Okotoks , very clean and comfortable, large rooms that are well equipped, bonus was the breakfast, which was a pleasant surprise. Definitely stay again when in town the area .

Hotel staff weren't very friendly, even upon check in. Rooms weren't cleaned during our stay. The overall appearance of the hotel is nice and the kids loved the pool/waterslide. Rooms were noisy with being able to hear all the hallway noise.

Conveniently located, comfortable, peaceful surroundings, lots of parking. Relaxed setting with the foothills at your doorstep. Friendly staff, helpful, personal interest. Variety of pillows to make your sleep comfortable. Breakfast included many different choices to satisfy most travelers.

Loved this hotel, friendly front staff, clean. We loved the slide and the pool although it was a very cold pool my toddler didnt want to swim, maybe they could change that in the future? Breakfast buffet was very good and clean as well.

We have stayed here several times and each time the front desk staff as well as the breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice and clean and the beds are comfortable. My only concern is during winter time visits if you could bring your own small humidifier it will make sleeping a little more comfortable due to the dry winters in Alberta.

The hotel is clean, recently constructed and well kept. The facility components worked well. The staff were friendly and helpful. Location is convenient with Costco and other stores close by. Also walking trails close by.

40-50 kids from Stettler Alberta were all playing in a Female Hockey Tournament in Okotoks. The hotel staff were very patient with us. They tolerated noise, mess, congestion and did it with a smile. We were all treated above and beyond what is expected from hotel staff. The hotel did great job providing all amenities needed for young families. Outstanding!

Like that the room was well appointed and especially that the halls and room did not smell of fragrance. Water pressure in the bathroom sink was terrible, as was the lighting. The bed was not comfortable and would have liked to have the sheets on the bed "made" instead of having the top blankets look nice. Having said this, the staff were professional and friendly and the fact that the room was not fragranced made a huge difference to me. However, room placement should be considered for travelers...easy to do. There was a hockey tournment on my floor and it was HELL for 3 out of the 4 days that I stayed. Hotel staff were up and down throughout the tournment trying to deal with kids and parents. I was offered "extra" points for the inconvenience at the end of my stay. I do not collect "points"...and had no intention of signing up for the program, so it was of no benefit to me.

What a nice stay in a great lilttle town. The hotel staff was wonderful, the rooms were clean and well maintained. The free continental breakfast was as expected, warm and better than nothing. I would definitely recommend this hotel

I spent many nights at this hotel during business trips and never once was unhappy. This is a very friendly, warm place to stay. The complimentary breakfast offers a great selection and is always hot and fresh. The hotel staff is very friendly and always available should you require assistance. Very clean and spacious rooms. Excellent location with great parking.

I have a 5 man crew staying there and I will stay there whenever I am in the area.The staff are very helpful and the hot breakfast is a nice change from other places that serve coffee and a muffin. There are many places to eat in the area and all the shopping a person needs while on the road.

the Okotoks Best Western is fairly new, and the amenities are great (complementary breakfast, in room wifi, pool and hot tub). not to mention it is also next to a Costco and Tim Horton's coffee shop, a supermarket and pharmacy. we had forgotten a few things, but were able to get them at the near by shops.

We checked in an with a 8 day old baby was put in a room across from barking dogs which kept us up most of the night. I was told there was breakfast included, but not what time it ended, so to come down at 9:30 to find out wait not breakfast. So I was tired did sleep well, I am nursing a baby and had to go out for breakfast. And got charged $200 damage deposit because my ex spilled pomegranate seeds in front of the elevator and things were falling out of his arms. Terrible management

The newest hotel in Okotoks yet the comfort levels of the bed and dis-respectfulness of other guests makes it an average stay for us. Beds are lined with pvc/plastic to protect mattress. Noisy when you roll over at night, and restricts comfort of actual mattress below. Aside, we encountered noisy, rude guests on our floor in the wee hours of the morning. Though management was notified, over an hour later, the halls were finally quiet once again.

This hotel is great to get away from it all and spend time in a quiet hotel which has great amenities. The staff were friendly and polite and the hotel is about half an hour from the city centre of Calgary.

My family and I enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. I found the continental breakfast to be very impressive - additionally the staff working the breakfast were very kind and friendly. *** The pool and the water slide were great fun for the family. One thing to think about is the water slide opens to the deep end of the pool, just shy of 5 feet deep, so if you are sending your kids down, or going down with children just be mindful that it is deep water and they should have a floater of some kind on. *** I would stay there again without question!

Great location and easy access to amenities. The pool and hot tub was wonderful and the breakfast choices were wonderful. We attended a family wedding at a nearby golf course. Having the Starbucks across the street along with the Saveon foods was a bonus plus not to mention the Winners store!

Peaceful surroundings but close to shopping centre and only a few minutes from old town centre where we spent a lot of time in the shops there. Breakfast was wonderful. Wish there was a restaurant in the hotel but Tim Hortons was nearby. Very small "Suite Shop" but handy for snacks.

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Staff was very accommodating and pleasant! We had a glitch in our reservation but things were rectified quickly & efficiently. The hotel was nice all the way from the lobby to the room. The only surprising part was a $200.00 incidental hold placed on our credit card for one night stay. I travel for business 20-30 weeks a year and have never have had an incidentals hold placed on card for that much.

I can't give this hotel a worst review. After hotel's website indicated no rooms, I purchased a room on Expedia for $160. Confirmed. Go to hotel late in the night and am told there was no reservation. Hotel desk woman tells me that she found it and that Expedia "often made mistakes on dates." She finds that the hotel was booked by Expedia for the previous night. However, I told her that I had made it today, not yesterday, and asked how I could be charged for a room booked the day after she claimed I was late. She said she didn't know but couldn't do anything about it and offered to charge me again for the room. As a single woman, alone in the later night, I had no other place to stay in the town, she refused to assist me and told me it was my problem with Expedia. The hotel is far to costly for a crummy off-the-road lower chain hotel. Rude front desk, and no offer to assist for this situation.

As mentioned to you in your other post of the situation, because it is acknowledged that Expedia messed up the pre pay non refundable reservation it was mentioned to you that you would have to contact expedia and have that sorted out, as we cannot . It was mentioned to you we had a room for you and we would be happy to provide you with a room, but could not adjust a pre payment agreement you had from a third party booking agent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We did not encounter any issues and they were very willing to accomodate our request for extra bedding supplies. Kids had a lot of fun in the pool and waterslide. Breakfast options were excellent. Can enjoy something light like yogurt and granola to bacon, eggs, toast, etc.

Came here for 1 night as moving into a house the next day. Easy check in considering we got in late. Super clean room where you can make yourself at home. Morning breakfast was perfect with hot and cold options and nice seating areas. Pool was nice and big with the slide and the lobby was clean and quite big. Will recommend to family when we come visit again. A++++++

I stay here often for work and am always greeted by first name and welcomed with a care package. The staff is wonderful and the rooms are always clean and orderly. The beds are comfy and the pillows are to die for. This is my preferred hotel when I am in the area and will continue to stay here.

This is a great hotel. The building is new and well maintained, the staff are friendly and professional and the breakfast is excellent. On top of this it is right next to shops if you've forgotten anything or need to get something for a picnic the next day. We stopped for a single night on the way to visit the US and it was much cheaper and nicer than the hotels in Calgary just to the north and the next time we come this way we will certainly plan to stay here again!

Friendly and help full staff I was their to visit grand children and have them come for a swim. The staff helped me find a plate to put out some treats for them . Just a beautiful time. Fantastic time

A newer Best Western with well appointed rooms and WiFi. We found the bedding was much too heavy and hot and we had to remove the comforter and use its casing to sleep under. The air conditioning unit was noisy. The breakfast was mediocre. Probably will try a different hotel next time.

Again, as mentioned to you previously, any suggestions on improving our in house made eggs, fresh fruit, home muffins, pancakes, waffles yogurt parfait station and French toast along with the various breads and bagels, bacon, sausages, and hash browns, to name a few of the items available would be greatly appreciated. We stopped for the night on our southern Alberta trip to Head Smashed in Buffalo Jump and Writing on Stone park with our grandchildren. Very comfortable Queen beds! Clean- like new. Great pool/waterslide for the kids. Breakfast included and was decent but at least in summer should be open until 9:30 or 10.

I had a comfortable bed to sleep in with black out curtains. A gym to work out in, with a verity of cardio equipment and weights. The breakfast was decent, warm food and fresh fruit. (Not just pastries)

Great Hotel, AWESOME hotel breakfast, the free, included kind. Real eggs! Great beds and pillows, quiet AC, Only con, stay away from adjoining rooms if possible. The adjoining door is like a microphone.

Room was spacious and cozy. Starbucks and timmies are right across the street as well as some shopping. Nothing spectacular about the place but I like going there when I am in town because it's comfy.

What a great personal touch for breakfast!! Homemade muffins and granola were a nice surprise. The location is close enough to Calgary that it gets you away from all the people trying to stay in town The property is clean and the check in/out went very smooth

THIS PLACE IS AWFUL!!! Don't book here. There are other places to stay in Okotoks or High River. They took a $300 incidental charge on our credit card, for a two night stay of less than $300! I think we were profiled on checkin, now that I think about it. We arrived hot and tired from the polo field and likely looked scruffy. A 55 year old woman and two kids! Seriously, people! The Manager tried to tell me that only my credit card company could make the refund - that it was STANDARD POLICY to take the equal amount of the room charge. I have NEVER seen this happen at a hotel ever, and we have stayed often at Fairmonts, Hyatts and Marriotts across the world. When I tried to get this resolved, I called Best Western...their corporate customer service didn't understand and then send all my information to another BW, not even the right one - what an invasion of privacy! Finally, I asked to speak with the hotel directly - called and spoke with the front desk who said they couldn't do anything about it....and then left a message with the General Manager who was exceptionally rude and uncaring and actually hung up on me. He tried to tell me that it was up to MY bank and credit company to do the refund. SERIOUSLY??!! What kind of customer service is this? Not the kind that I will ever partake of again. I rate this hotel among the worst EVER that we have stayed in. Also...did I mention that we left a note for our room to be cleaned in the morning while we were away....and it actually NEVER was cleaned for our two night stay? DO NOT STAY HERE. Also, as an aside - there was a worker there with a trolley in the elevator who actually bumped into me TWICE with his trolley and never said sorry....or how do you do! Can I say it again? Don't stay here. Find another hotel in Okotoks or High River, or the south end of Calgary if you are travelling through. This particular hotel has a very long way to go with customer service.

Per our conversation and your conversations with the front desk agents, we are unable to contact your financial institution, whether it be a bank or CC company to request the release of a pre authorization we take from EVERY guest who wishes to check in to our fine hotel. When we process your payment the preauthorization is automatically released. Depending on your financial institution, it may take days to get returned to you. As I tried to explain, we have no control over this, as this is not a refund as you indicate. As mentioned to you, we are not the account holder, so the bank will not speak with us. We tried to explain this to you in order to assist you in contacting your financial provider to have the funds returned to you as quickly as possible... We do our best to minimize issues such as these to ease any frustrations anyone may have in our conversations and explanations. We did our best to explain this to you, but to no avail. We apologize that our housekeeping standards did not meet your expectations. Went there for a ball tournament from Wetaskiwin, was there only one night. The Hotel was lovely inside and out. The rooms were very very nice and clean, and the staff was very pleasant to deal with. The pool was enjoyed also.

This hotel is great! We had plenty of space for a family of six which most hotels can't accommodate. Breakfast is included with plenty of options for everyone. My kids loved the pool, especially the waterslide. If you're looking for a place for your family to stay, pick this one.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay. The only thing missing was adequate lighting when doing my makeup. The breakfast was a nice variety. Everything was fresh. The hotel situation was great because there were shops walking distance and the downtown area was close by.

Great Value with an excellent breakfast. Very convenient location with Costco, restaurants and Save On Foods across the street.. Our Grand Children loved the pool. Our 3 families had a very enjoyable stay in Okotoks.

One of the best experiences, if not best I've had ever at a hotel. Rod/Rob the guy at the front seat upon check-in was exceptional in every way, polite, courteous and very knowledgable. Best service I've ever had upon checking-in to a hotel without a doubt, and through work and travel I stay in many hotels. When travelling to Southern Alberta, I wouldn't even look to stay anywhere else.

We enjoyed our stay. Staff very friendly and helpful in providing info on what to see and do. Free breakfast was great and like the selection. Housekeeping could do better, furniture dusty in certain areas. Liked the Hotel overall and it's location.

Just your average road hotel, decent breakfast included with room. Must have a nice pool and hot tub although I did not partake but lots of people using the facilities. Internet was acceptable but when hotel is full you can experience issues with connection.

Very clean new and modern. A surprising change from some of the dated hotels In the best Western chain. Very spacious room and the breakfast was probably one of the best continental help yourself breakfasts I have had.

Great service, comfortable beds, great breakfast. My sons loved the pool, hot tub and water slide. The room was very clean (except for the corners of the shower, which were only a very small spot and I'm picky about that).

We had a lovely stay at the Best Western hotel in Okatokos. We are a family of 4, children aged 13 & 10. They enjoyed the indoor pool & the rooms were very clean, comfortable & relaxing. Lots of shops, hair salon within walking distance of hotel.

The suite was super clean, spacious and had all the amenities one could expect. Their suggestions for our requested dinner out were very favourable. I would pick them again without question. I will say, however, that I was disappointed to see that the same room in this chain was more expensive than the one in Red Deer the night before. Initially we picked Best Western based on our Red Deer experience. We were equally happy, but it was about $15 more per night in Okotoks than the same room in Red Deer.

Had a great time here , staff very friendly, and a good hearty breakfast to start your day, rooms were very clean, the locating is a short walk to old town Okotoks, very charming, and a short drive to Calgary, Lots to do and see in the surrounding areas, With the added bonus of great shopping just across the road in a new development with no noise.on my next visit to this area I will stay here again for sure.

Cancellation and other policies are not sports family family friendly. Require families to stay full term of their booking even if their team is eliminated early in a tournament. Noise policies not friendly to young families and are more consistent with a seniors establishment. Breakfasts are poor with little variety and greasy food.

Our company hosted an event for approx 80 people on June 24,2017 and from the beginning to end, everything was handled to perfection by BWP Okotoks. Their catering was more in line with high end dining than what one has come to expect from hotel catering - and all at a fair and reasonable cost. The staff before, during and after could not have been more accommodating and I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to use them again or highly recommend them to others. Well done Best Western Plus Okotoks.

Nice rooms, pool area, friendly service and quiet. Comfortable bed and lots of space. The general areas is under development, so not a lot of restaurants in the immediate area, but the breakfast was very nice (and complimentary). Would definitely go back.

Check in was effortless and the enire staff were helpful and courteous. The rooms were big, clean and vry comfortable. Breakfast was a great way to start the day too. We would recomend BWPlus anytime.

Super friendly staff, breakfast staff helped my mother select items and helped her to table. Full marks. Got directions to local areas, all information was %100 accurate. Clean rooms , clean hallways, wish they had milk in vending machine , but lots of other selections,

Very modern, clean property. Room was quiet, and everything worked. Short walk to Costco, Save-on, Timmy's. I had the pool to myself for an hour on a weekday afternoon......the building engineer noticed, came in and left.....and suddenly I realized he had turned on the waterslide for me! What fun that was, even for an old fat guy like me. Also very nice swimming area and hot tub.

Hi normally stay at Hilton or Hampton in my travels. I spend about 130 nights a year with most at the before mentions locations. However, when in Okotoks or High River I always end up going back to this best western as it's a new location with above average facilities and good staff. I have yet to have a bad experience here and would recommend it to anyone needing a stay south of Calgary.

The location was great and the hotel is a beautiful and very clean hotel and very comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate staying there again. The breakfast was extremely good with a large variety of Hot and cold items

Good: New building, easy check-in, fast wifi, comfortable rooms, decent breakfast Bad: I didn't have lunch the one day but my colleagues indicated that the food wasn't very good. The meal the next day seemed fine. Note that aside from the daily continental breakfast, there is no onsite dining option. We had the meeting catered and I'm not sure if that was the hotel or a hotel partner. Ugly: Nothing really. No minibar though they do have mini fridges. I didn't get a chance to try the pool or fitness room. Overall: Nice, new hotel in Okotoks. No complaints. Would stay again.

My parents visited this week. They plan to book again next spring when in town for a wedding. The staff is amazing, the facility is well maintained. We've come to know many staff by name. You'll see someone cleaning in the morning, and someone else cleaning the same pictures, floors, and washrooms in the evening. The staff want to be there, sincerely care for their guests, and take pride in their service and facility. My kids had a blast in the pool, the breakfast is that little-bit-better than I've had at similar hotels. Everything is close-by in Okotoks, but this hotel has groceries, pharmacies, Tim's, liquor, Costco, a gym, retail, and pet stores, all south, from the doorstep to a couple of blocks away. Other options and town rec facilities are a short drive away. There is plenty of "franchise food", but many local owned food options in Okotoks. My family will be sure to return to a couple of favourites when they visit again. The downtown is an easy walk on paved paths along the river - about 25 minutes - around 10 if you drive. Keep it at 40 km/hr. heading west from the bridge and back. That road is comfortably wide, and well patrolled. In general, 40 is strictly enforced here. Minor Downside: There is a median in front of the hotel. You can't get to Tim's or Costco on your way out for the day, without going all the way around to the south. More importantly, if you come back towards the hotel from the Costco lot, you can turn into the hotel lot just fine, but you can't turn towards the main road. it is posted no U-Turn and is known as an easy ticket because it is vigorously patrolled. Don't be tempted to make a U-Turn.

No issues whatsoever. Looked new. Professional and helpful staff. Beds were really comfortable. We will definitely book again for our group function! We were there as a team and they were very accommodating!

My second time staying at the Best Western Okotoks and both times have been wonderful! Alex at the front desk is warm, friendly and welcoming. She treats you like family and genuinely cares about how your stay is. That lady deserves a raise! The rooms are very clean, comfortable and provide everything you need. (Keurig, mini fridge, safe and luxuriant toiletries) The bed is a little more on the firmer side than I prefer but the pillows are awesome!! The only thing I would change would be a fluffy duvet on the beds, I prefer something heavier on me when I sleep. Plenty of parking, close enough to shopping you could walk, and a fabulous breakfast! Not your normal "breakfast included" fare. If you're traveling to Okotoks this is the place to stay, you will not be disappointed.

Wonderful facility and great staff! Unfortunately, that positive impact was entirely negated by one negative experience. We had no idea we were on the "dogs permitted" floor (2F) until we heard barking early one morning and dogs with their owners meeting in the hall for a lively conversation between both canines and humans. A hotel of this caliber should inform their guests that the 2F is open for dogs and then give their guests the opportunity to choose the non-canine 3F. You know, sort of like giving guests a smoking or non-smoking floor option. When I asked about this at check-out I was told that rooms used by dogs with their owners are completely cleaned for the next guest. That's a myth that needs to be debunked sooner rather than later! Best Western Plus in Okotoks,.. I suggest you stop catering to dog owners at the expense of your guests that would rather not check into a dog hotel!

Alex at the front desk was friendly and efficient from the moment I contacted the hotel and throughout our stay. Carey at the breakfast area was accommodating and makes an awesome scone. The breakfast buffet exceeded expectations as did the staff.

We were pleasantly surprise - new and modern rooms including walk in shower and WiFi was fast. Hotel was fully booked with ball tournament players, so it was a scramble for breakfast understandably. Staff were most friendly - always asking if there was more that they could do for us and they followed thru. Best of all, we had a room at the end of the hall which was extra convenient for our dog. Proximity to shopping center was a bonus !

First time I stayed here and it's a very nice property. There are quite a few food places nearby. It is very quiet and I haven't heard any noise at all Coffee and fridge plus microwave in room. Would stay here again without hesitation. If you need a place in the Okotoks you should give this Hotel a try !

It was our pleasure to stay at the new Best Western in Okotoks during a recent family reunion. The gorgeous semi-circular couch in the lobby was worth the visit alone. It was breakfast, however, that bowled us over. Eggs, bacon, sausages, hash browns, yoghurt, fresh fruit, cereal, bagels, and, as my cousin's wife enthusiastically noted, "real" muffins made from scratch: there was nothing we lacked. The superior food was coupled with terrific service. I shudder to imagine what this would have otherwise cost. We'll be back!

We had our whole team of 30 people stay at this hotel for a series of meetings. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and large meeting met our needs perfectly and the meals were outstanding. A tip of the hat to all the nice people at this hotel, the service was excellent! Would not hesitate to go back.

Breakfast was the best hot breakfast we have got with a free one. Rooms were big and clean. Staff accommodated all our requests and were friendly. Swimming pool was clean. Beds were comfortable. Would stay again.

The service was great. Friendly staff. Clean rooms with nice decor. Very good breakfast with lots of choices. The only unfortunate thing was the alarm was set for 630am, which we did not realize and it woke my grandson up too early. The front desk staff were notified, and did apologize.

I stayed two nights in Okotoks, the hotel was very close to where I needed to be for the weekend. The hotel provided the banquet for our function that was very good. The breakfast had lots of variety and was very good. I would stay here again.

The rooms are way over priced for an empty hotel. The staff is to lazy to properly clean the major things in the room so they probably dont clean the other things you dont see. i would not stay here again

A nice new hotel, we were in town for 2 nights. Originally had booked for 3 nights, decided to move on and explore other areas, no problem changing our reservation. Clean, delicious breakfast, helpful staff. Costco was across the street, and a few cafes for our daughter to visit while we were out looking at real estate. Tim Hortons and a Starbucks within walking distance. If in Okotoks, I would definitely stay there again.

The best western plus was a great experience. We usually do have a great stay. The breakfast was one of the best we've ever had. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They were even willing to give us a later check out had we needed it.

Very nice property, new, clean comfortable and (mostly) friendly staff. Unfortunately, we had an issue concerning their advertised pet policy, and the actual fees we were charged. Manager was argumentative and unsympathetic, however our issue was resolved to our satisfaction with intervention of Best Western head office customer service. We were originally charged $40 per night (plus tax) for our two dogs. Expected charge was $20 per night according to following policy stated on the Best Western website: "There may be a maximum charge of $20 per day for each room with a pet or multiple pets". When I questioned the desk clerk on checkout, I was informed that their policy was $20 per pet per night. I double checked when I arrived home and then contacted the hotel management to discuss, with disappointing results noted above. There may be some ambiguity in the website policy statement, but I would expect management would be sympathetic under the principle that the customer comes first. This was not the case, or I would not be posting this review. Instead, the manager cited a list of grievances caused by guests with pets to justify his entrenched point of view.

My children and grandkids came down for Easter and we all stayed at the Best Western PLUS Okotoks. We spent the day at the Calgary Zoo but after a hour the children wanted to go back to the Hotel AND go to the pool and hottub. They had a blast on the waterslide. My 81 year young mother hasn't laughed that hard for a long time, And the breakfasts were fantastic. We all agreed that this is going to be a annual thing

What a beautiful hotel. Friendly staff with great service. Room was large and very clean. However, it was the breakfast (included) that pushed it over the top. Breakfast foods were prepared fresh that day - nothing was prepackaged. You were always greeted with smiles and wonderful service. It was so relaxing that at times we spent more than an hour having breakfast. This is the only hotel we will stay in when visiting Okotoks and Calgary!

The hotel was very good and across the road from a mall, COSCO and a grocery store. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. They even helped us print our boarding passes. We would stay there again

We stay here every time we come to the area. It's handy to Calgary but not in Calgary which works for us! Staff is excellent and the hotel is dog friendly. Rooms are clean, everything works and are set up nice.

Great new hotel with good amenities and friendly staff. good location with lots of parking. Breakfast is very convenient for early morning starts. Other choices near by for meals. Away from noisy highways.

We have stayed in this hotel on numerous occasions, and each time it lives up to our expectations. The rooms as bright, clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly, always ready to help and provide assistance whenever needed. The food...the breakfast they put together isn't your standard fare...fresh, hot, tasty...their eggs are great and their baked goods...super. We have grown as a family over the years we have stayed here...and find the room with the king bed and pull out sofa perfect for our family (2 adults, 1 4 year old and a 4 month old). It gives plenty of space for us to put our pack and play for the baby and we still have room to move. We have brought our 2 golden retrievers here as well and they are very pet friendly. Overall, definitely a hotel i would recommend...and will stay in again.

Our family stayed at this hotel during the final stages of our house build. The quality of the hotel was excellent and each staff member was great to get to know and made us feel like we were at home. Thank you to each member of the staff at Best Western Plus Okotoks Inns and Suites.

This newer hotel was recommended to my by a friend living in Okotoks. I stayed there one night and was satisfied with everything. Very friendly young lady at the front desk who called my room later to ask if everything was in order. Their few simple breakfast items that were included with the room were surprisingly tasty. Good coffee too! Comfortable bed and a nice walk in shower. Lots of parking.

This is the second time we've stayed at the Best Western Okotoks and we're as delighted this time as the last. Excellent staff!! Our room was comfortable and clean. I think the highlight is the pool. The grandkids came for a couple of hours and exhausted me. They loved the two story slide. It is truly amazing. As they are rather young, their dad and I "caught" them as they splashed down into the pool - including the three year old. They have a breakfast room, which is included with the room charge, and it's really wonderful. They lady/ladies that run it are excellent and will accommodate guests as much as possible. It's self serve and offers both hot and cold selections. Great value. If you're in Okotoks you really ought to try it.

Had some friends come in for a wedding last weekend and they loved staying at The Best Western. Rooms were very clean, beds so comfortable and staff was friendly and very helpful. They will be coming back and staying here again soon.

This is an extremely nice hotel with great staff and rooms. Unfortunately there were not any restaurants around this hotel but for a short drive we were able to find several. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This Best Western is quite new and well maintained. Rooms are nice, tvs good, and property clean. The complimentary breakfast was standard fare, but fresh and very well replenished by diligent staff. We stayed in a suite, with good two bedroom floor plan for a family or two couples (one bathroom, though). Only negative would be the price - not completely unreasonable, but pushing the envelope given the location, apparent high vacancy, and general economy at the moment.

Nice new hotel. Wendy, who was in charge of the breakfast, was terrific! The healthy choices she provided, as well as the presentation, was second to none. She adds her own personal touch with fresh egg frittatas made daily, home-made granola, toasted coconut, and many other interesting items that differ from day to day. Today she had warm croissant sandwiches with egg and melting cheddar cheese. Delicious! We stay in a lot of hotels and have never seen such variety. Sausage links, sausage patties, ham, hard-boiled eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, french toast, waffles, pastries, and a variety of hot & cold beverages. Wendy made it feel more like a bed & breakfast with her warm, friendly conversation and attention to detail. A highlight, for sure!

"Nice new hotel", "Wendy was terrific", "presentation was second to none" - these are the best comments that we could receive about the hotel, our staff and our amenities. Our goal is start each guest's day off right with a hot, fresh breakfast with plenty of offerings that cater to different dietary needs. Fresh eggs are cracked each morning to make a variation of breakfast options including hard boiled eggs, frittatas, breakfast burritos or croissant sandwiches, to name a few. The bakery items are baked fresh each morning as well. Thank you for your wonderful review and we look forward to welcoming you back.

We stayed at the Best Western in Okotoks in October 2016 while visiting family in Okotoks. This was a repeat visit. Overall we gave it a 5 --- highlights were service, the breakfast and the pool; only downside is the high price. Value: Price was $ 500 for three nights all in. We think this maybe $10 - $15 a night over what Okotoks should demand. Arguably it was Thanksgiving weekend and there were lots of families. Location: ideal for visiting family who live in the Cimarron neighbourhood of Okotoks. Still no restaurants within walking distance apart from McDonald's; the new strip mall going in next door is by no means finished. Service in making and updating our reservations was great. (Phoned in reservation). Check-in was smooth and courteous. Front desk staff were quite helpful with the WiFi and trrying to coach Gramma through the Byzantine maze of the Best Western Rewards system (it didn't work but good on her for trying). The building: It could be a four storey hotel of the current idiom in any of the major chains, anywhere in North America. Does its job without a whole lot of "charm". Halls / public spaces are clean and free of that "old hotel" aura and aroma (as they should be: 2 year old building). Our room (#305) was quite spacious for the one king bed installed. Sleep Quality was good although a little noisier on the South side overlooking the Costco gas bar and the construction. The north side which faces an open field is quieter. Bathroom is still in good working order although ... "Tub people like ourselves won't find any of the one king rooms with a proper tub. They are only in some of the two queen rooms and the suites. Amenities ... The Wifi worked well; login was hassle free. Thankfully they supplied decaf coffee for the coffee maker in the room. The bar fridge is quite large although it has no freezer compartment. TV is TELUS "Optik" digital with kazillions of channels. Thankfully there is a "cheat sheet" provided to get you close to the channel range you want. The buffet breakfast is the hidden gem of this hotel. Real eggs, pancakes (not the cardboard kind!), sausages, bacon, waffles, muffins, etc ... Their food manager Wendy obviously cares. Gramma's special diet needs (gluten / dairy) were met by Wendy who seems to keep a lot of stuff out in the back, available on request. The pool was great. Quite clean. We soaked in the hot pool which was thankfully free of frothy grungy scum. Some kids were enjoying the waterslide. Tips to get a good room: All the ground floor rooms are handicapped. North side of the building faces out across a field to the river and is quieter except for a very few trains.

It is true, our hotel is a new hotel, located in an upcoming and coming district in southeast Okotoks. While there is a lot of construction ongoing in the local area, there is also quite a bit of shopping in close proximity. Olde Towne Okotoks is located a short 5 minute drive away and features some great, unique shopping as well as quaint restaurants. Our hotel features Telus Optik TV and wireless internet so there are tons of channels to choose from and we are complimented on the fast internet service all the time. I am pleased that you noticed our clean pool and hot tub. Our Maintenance team takes great pride in ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standard possible. Large, clean room! Great TV ( American hotels should take note ). Excellent breakfast! Expensive, but very few other options in Okotoks! All in all, decent value! Apparently I'm forced to write more in order to get this review put on Trip Adviser, so very expensive, considering what you get and where you are!

Pretty much a standard, newly-built Best Western. The darker room decor is not our own taste, but others might like it for being modern. The breakfast was very good, and staff throughout the hotel were friendly and quick with a hello, from the house keepers, front desk, and breakfast attendant. A few surprises: they were vacuumed our hallway in the evening (it was hard to hear the TV over it); the mini-fridge froze the items we put in it solid; and the toilet had a little wobble. Typical for BW, the pool and hot tub were a bit on the small side. There weren't any roadsigns helping us locate the hotel, and it's on a awkward corner for getting into.

Our grandchildren visited our hotel and used the pool and waterslide. They were very impressed! The coffee at breakfast was the best of any hotel we have stayed in! The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast staff were very helpful.

Comfortable & quiet with nice clean rooms, very large bathroom with huge walk in shower, great breakfast with real plates & cutlery. Four pillows on each bed was luxurious. I would recommend this hotel.

We were needing to have a pet-friendly room for one night and felt so lucky to have found this! The staff was outstanding, the room was stellar! We even got a phone call from the front desk shortly after we had gotten comfortable, checking that all was fine! Sadly, we forgot about the complimentary breakfast and ended up sleeping too late to benefit. This is a brand new accommodation, with lots of top notch perks. Even our dog was given a "welcome gift" consisting of a couple biscuits wrapped in plastic bags for picking up her feces.

We were warmly welcomed. Our dog was provided a "Welcome Gift" which was wrapped nicely with a bright orange bow which was made out of "Bags". We as dog owners certainly know what the bags are for. Nonetheless, the thoughtful gift was graciously accepted despite us having numerous bags in our possession. Unlike many other hotels/motels where we have stayed at the room was not or at least we don't think was a designated "Pet Room" you know the one with the stains and the dog odour. Great staff, very friendly and courteous! Nice clean and quiet rooms! Guest laundry services that were available anytime I needed them. Free breakfast is above average. They have some baked goods that are very good.

Great hotel. Brand new and fast internet. Comfortable room. Well laid out for an overnight stay. Close to shopping, gas, wine store etc and not to far from dinning. Good limited breakfast was part of the room price

Very enjoyable stay. Check in and check out took no time at all. Room was spacious and very comfortable for my wife with a disability. Bed in this type of room could be lower to facilitate getting in and out of. Other than that our stay was very enjoyable.

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable, good selection for breakfast. My kids LOVED the spiral slide in the pool area!!! We had used Airmiles to book our room. Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel in Okotoks. The hotel is new therefore it's very clean. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. The front desk staff were great. Pool looked awesome we just didn't make it in. Wish the breakfast hours were a little longer.

This was a very pleasant stay in Okotoks, Alberta for two days. The hotel is in a great location. The appearance was excellent when we arrived. We did arrive early and the front desk was very accommodating and pleasant in giving us a room three hours prior to normal check in. The room was excellent, clean, large and comfortable. It was very relaxing. The breakfast was very good with excellent selections of food. We would definitely stay and this hotel again.

We only wanted to stay in a hotel with a pool and this one was it. Very nice rooms, comfortable beds, clean. Pool was not small child friendly, a bit deep at the shallow end. But I don't stay in hotels very often so this might be the norm. Breakfast was enjoyable and plenty of food. Could have used a tub though as my room mate enjoys a bath. Showers only. All in all it was an enjoyable stay and I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel is relatively new, being built, I think, in 2014. It is easily accessible from Route 2A and Route 2. It is also a good stopping point before heading into the Canadian Rockies. By following a few back-roads (which are well maintained) you can avoid the congestion of Calgary with its heavily traveled freeways (and construction crews). You can meander your way north to Route 1, which leads directly to, and passes through, Banff National Park. It sits directly next to Costcos (which sits at the end of a mall complex) and has a red light for exiting and entering. Pros: Very Modern and clean and still has a new smell Spacious Rooms with nice decor and bedding Pleasant receptionist and Staff Micro-wave, coffee-maker and fridge in room Safe in the room Air-conditioning very good Bed comfortable; 5 pillows Water pressure, powerful; excellent. HOT, HOT water. Huge walk-in shower Window opens a bit for fresh air Iced lemon water in the lobby McDonalds within walking distance Shopping within walking distance Good restaurants within a 5 minute drive Free breakfast with a wide variety of foods. Fresh baked muffins. Fresh diced fruit. Plenty of free parking Quiet section of town Pets allowed Business Center Free WiFi Elevators Indoor pool Cons: No bathroom fan Must have a car to dine at a restaurant No cribs/no roll away cots Note: We would definitely stay at this facility again if in the area

I thought this was a new hotel - found out it was about 3 years old. The pool and hot tub are very nice and there is a two floor high water slide. The breakfast is very good and free. There is free Wi-Fi also. If you have a motorcycle they will let you park under the entrance canopy if you don't obstruct the entrance.

Usually stay off the highway but this time we tried the BW in okotoks. Clean, friendly, great continental breakfast with hot items (eggs and sausage,). It's only two years old so it is modern and clean. Free wifi...I would recommend it! It's across from Costco and only a couple minutes off the highway.

Great service, room and we all slept great and started our next day off right with a wonderful continental breakfast!! Would definately recommend this hotel to family and friends and will stay here again.

What a wonderful surprise to pull up to the hotel and see a new, well maintained place. The Best Westerns out west are so much better than in the east! Samantha was at the reception desk and was so friendly and helpful. Everything about our stay was great. All the amenities you could want and breakfast was very good. We would recommend this hotel to all who are staying in the area.

Stayed here just for one night after flying in from Manchester quite a distance from Calgary airport but worth the journey had a room with two king size beds but there was only my wife and I but would suite a family as you pay for the room not the number of people.The breakfast was very good, and a pleasant change it was served on crockery and cutlery not paper and plastic well done.

We had reservations but got there very late at night. Hotel clerk immediately got us settled in and reminded us to stay for breakfast. The breakfast that morning was exceptional, with real home-cooked and baked foods served. Although the place was packed, it was quiet and we all got a good rest before taking of in the morning. I would like to come here again.

Clean property with very caring staff. Breakfast is more creative than most establishments and well presented. Yogurt parfaits are a family favorite! Comfortable rooms with plenty of space for your belongings and nicely cleaned each day. Located near the freeway in Okotoks makes this a and great location.

Breakfast in morning was small, but typical continental. Rooms and hotel were very clean. Small selection of sundries in hotel shop and vending machine broke on our floor. Water slide and a hot tub on site. If booking with caa make certain to bring your card with you or you will get charged non discount price.

Our breakfast department works very hard to ensure there are options for all our guests, including dairy and gluten friendly options, each day. Since we do not have a restaurant on property, we still try to provide a great selection including waffles, fresh eggs (both boiled and hot), yogurt, yogurt parfaits, fresh fruit, bacon, ham or sausage as well as a variety of breads and tasty treats. During your stay we did experience a maintenance issue with one of our vending machines. While we try to get things up and running as soon as possible, we sometimes have to order parts and this can take some time. We do offer similar items in the vending machines on the other floors as well as the sundry shop, located on the main floor. Best Western is partnered with CAA/AAA to give their members the very best rates at all of their locations. In order to be able to provide CAA/AAA members with that rate we do require that you bring the card with you when you check-in. Have a great day! Roanne

Our front desk staff member that was on shift when we arrived was Nicole. She was so friendly and helpful. I asked for information about the area and she was more than accommodating. We booked a handicapped accessible room as my mother uses a walker. It was a pleasant room that I think would be beneficial for those in wheelchairs. Lower and easy to pull light switches, etc. Nicole had suggested extra towels to put outside the shower which was a very good idea as it was a walk in with no lip and without the towels would likely have leaked onto the floor and could be a slipping hazard. When we left the next day the front staff was also very friendly and when someone came in that was lost and not a guest she was very helpful and mapped out the way. We were very pleased with the customer service!

We stayed at the Best Western in Okotoks in July 2016 while visiting family in Okotoks. Overall we gave it a 4 --- highlights were service, the breakfast and the pool; downsides were the high price, a few niggling things wrong with the room and some cleanliness issues. Value: Price was $ 162 per night average for seniors / CAA / Hotel chain loyalty card. We thought this maybe $10 - $15 a night over what Okotoks should demand. Arguably it was Stampede weekend in nearby Calgary. Location: ideal for visiting family who live in the Cimarron neighbourhood of Okotoks. Right now there are not a lot of dining choices within walking distance (McDonald's) although that will change in Fall 2016 with a new strip mall going in. Service in making and updating our reservations was great. (Phoned in reservation) . They also accommodated our request to let us know when a room opened up for an extra night. They notified us to avoid surprises when the pool went out of service (it was fixed the day we needed it, after Stampeding all day). Check-in was smooth and courteous. They accommodated our request for ground floor; gave us a handicapped room (all the rooms on the ground floor are handicapped). The building: It could be a four storey hotel of the current idiom in any of the major chains, anywhere in North America. Does its job without a whole lot of "charm". Halls / public spaces are clean and free of that "old hotel" aura and aroma (as they should be: 2 year old building) Our room (#102) was quite spacious for the one king bed installed. (Handicapped room, larger bathroom takes up space normally occupied by a second queen bed). Sleep Quality was great in this still pretty new bed although Gramma couldn't find the right combination of pillows to suit her desired thickness. And the thick duvet / comforter is away over the top for summertime. The bathroom was enormous to accommodate wheelchair turning room. High (but not impossibly) toilet; grab bars on the walls and tub surround. There were couple of small issues with the plumbing, mentioned to the front desk. These are early signs that this 2 year old building is getting past squeaky-clean and new. Small issues like these will need to be attended to before they snowball and drag down the overall guest experience. There is some early morning construction noise on the south side of the building (summer 2016); a strip mall is going up next door. Unlike our visit there a year ago we did notice some junk on the floor. Amenities ... The Wifi worked well; login was hassle free. Thankfully they supplied decaf coffee for the coffee maker in the room. The bar fridge is quite large although it has no freezer compartment. TV is TELUS "Optik" digital with kazillions of channels. This hotel is in a construction area now but we didn't hear any construction noises and we weren't bothered in any way. It is super handy to Costco! Staff was courteous, kind and helpful. They have little treat bags for dogs! Air conditioner was great! Nice bright clean bathrooms and comfy beds. I'll stay there again and again. The free breakfast was one of the best we've had.

I made a mistake coming here after 800 km of driving. It was a very long tiring day and had made a reservation. The staff were snooty and demanded everything be paid down on a credit card no matter how much cash or debit you had.Would not accept $1000 cash down for security deposit leaving us exhausted and angry and out to find another hotel in town. Should have went to Lakeview Inn and Suites to begin with! Save yourself the annoyance and go to a friendlier, more accommodating hotel called the Lakeview Inn and Suites in the same city and closer to amenities also.

Loved my stay! The hotel was clean, the workers were cheerful and the breakfast was delicious. It is walking distance to Costco which was also helpful for my shopping. I felt totally satisfied with my stay.

Our stay here was 100%! From the time we checked in with Sophie at the front desk to the time we checked out...best customer service ever, clean hotel, yummy complimentary breakfast. It was a total pleasure staying here. Sophie at the front desk was very accommodating and friendly!

clean friendly gave us a suite for room price club cause I was working nights while I was there. My husband was able to be in the sitting room while I was sleeping . Not much of a breakfast but it was a nice place.

This an above average hotel ,exceptionally clean & well maintained. Wish we could have stayed longer. It was a bit more expensive than we normally like to pay but it was worth the money & a nice treat. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anybody that needed a place to stay in the Okotoks area.

We had a very good stay on a busy Saturday night. Service was wonderful, the room was nicely sized, and the facilities were excellent. Comfortable beds, a lovely stand up shower, fridge, microwave made for a great in-room experience. The pool was crowded and LOUD thanks to the younger demographic staying there - a minor annoyance. Sunday breakfast was excellent, with a nice variety of options. We will definitely be back!

Good value for the money. Hotel is clean and staff are very helpful. The breakfast is not really a hot breakfast. We went in the last half hour and items had not been refreshed. Eggs are premade reheated. Not many options for those that don't eat pork. We went out to eat the 2nd morning.

Our scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs and egg dishes are freshly cracked and prepared each morning. We strive to provide a fresh breakfast even though we are not a truly a restaurant. We do understand that there are dietary restrictions with some of our guests so we do have alternate options available to our guest by request, including gluten and dairy friendly options, however meat selections are limited to sausage, bacon and ham. We stayed here several times with our baseball team. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff is very accommodating. The buffet breakfast could be a bit better, and trays of food refilled quicker, but the hotel itself is great. Good for families as there is a pool and small waterslide.

Great location, very clean, friendly staff , great breakfast, Handy for some shopping . Lots of free parking. Watch out for Calgary Police on the way from Calgary Airport. Okotoks is a quaint little town worth visiting.

I stayed with family over the May long weekend for a family bday party, the rooms are very nicely laid out with lots of room, they have a very good free breakfast where you can make your own waffles as well a small little buffet with eggs bacon and sausage and toast and beagles. They front desk staff were very helpful and friendly.

This is a great place to stay. Close to shopping and eateries. Very clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Always a pleasure to stay here.The pool area is always kept very clean and the hot tub is a plus. The exercise room is great.

Very good breakfast. Great location. Pillows are a little to soft for my liking. We had to detour to get to this hotel but it was worth it. It's nice to see this hotel has a shower only in our room as those bath tubs are just a water waster.

Stayed here this past weekend, as I was in town at a ball tournament, and was pleasantly surprised. I haven't stayed at a Best Western in years, but will give the chain a chance in the future based on my experience. The hotel seems to be brand new, and is appointed well. The bed was super comfortable, staff was pleasant and eager to help make the stay enjoyable. Rooms were extremely clean and new. Hope to stay here again in the future.

I booked my room and a boardroom for business. All staff members were helpful. Last minute requests were met. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Fridge and microwave were perfect for my dietary needs. Complimentary water and coffee was available in the lobby. Big thanks to Kayla, Sophie and Alex.

We came as a ball team for the weekend. The hotel is very close to the Seaman Stadium so was convenient. Clean, quiet and comfortable. The hotel has a breakfast which was nice. We did not use the pool or the fitness center. But both looked just fine. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again. The only weird thing was when we had 4 people to a room, only two towels were provided. A pain to ask for towels every day.

The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly, helpful and efficient. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. I would stay at this hotel again unreservedly, and I highly recommend it to the business or holiday traveler. I stayed here once a month for 4 months in 2016.

we were in for the weekend for a lacrosse tournament. Hotel was very clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was good. Excellent value for money and very quick and easy to get to the Aldersyde Field House for games.

We came Okotoks for s gymnastics competition. The hotel was clean, the continental breakfast was great and the staff were very friendly. It's the only place in town with a water slide. The prices are very reasonable. The hotel is easily accessible from the highway and close to many restaurants and shopping.

We had an excellent stay at the this hotel. The hotel staff were polite and very helpful. The recreational ammenities, like the pool and the water slide were well maintained and my childeren really enjoyed them. I would recommend this hotel for either a short or long stay.

I highly recommend this hotel! I had to take my dad to Calgary for surgery and didn't mind a bit the driving distance from Okotoks mainly because the front desk employees were so caring and made my stay very pleasant. Very good value, close to shopping and restaurants, great breakfast, and as an added bonus you can enjoy the water slide and hot tub.

The Best Western Plus Okotoks was a sponsor of a sports event that our children were participating in so we choose to stay at the hotel. Our expectation was that as a sponsor of the event they would accommodate team meals and allow for space for families to gather between games and in the evening, unfortunately we were disappointed. With the exception of breakfast, the team was not provided the opportunity to get together in common areas, nor were conference rooms made available, in spite of our willingness to rent them. As there are no restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, team meals and meetings took place in the coaches room, which was both cramped and messy. The rooms themselves were comfortable, but the cleaning crew arrived at our room so late in the day that we chose to simply receive new towels twice during our four night stay. I have always had a good experience at other Best Western Plus' when travelling for business, so this was a particularly disappointing experience, and I would therefore not recommend this hotel.

Bill, The Best Western Plus Okotoks Inn & Suites was a proud sponsor of the Western Bantam AAA Championships that were held in Okotoks earlier this month. We take great pride in supporting local events and welcome the excitement that it brings to the community. As mentioned to several other members of your group, our meeting rooms were not available the night in question as one was rented to another party (which was not the other hockey team also competing in Westerns) and the other was already set and decorated for the very successful Hot Stove Event put on on by the Western's Tournament Committee the following evening. I had multiple conversations with the Manager of your team prior to your arrival and at no point in time was a meeting room requested for team meals or meetings. It is true, we are located in a newer area of Okotoks and construction has commenced around us, but restaurants and lounges are a short 5 minute drive away. We are a limited service hotel, and as such are not licensed nor insured for the consumption of alcohol in the public areas of the hotel. Our Guest Service Agents are more than willing to provide you with wonderful options for team meals and a place for parents to socialize. Our Room Attendants work from 9 am to 5:30 pm every day. Sometimes rooms get cleaned in the morning and sometimes they get cleaned in the afternoon. We clean all rooms every day, unless a guest specifically requests "No Service". We have "My Stay My Way" cards in every room, giving guests the opportunity to choose when, or if, they want their room serviced by placing the card on their door handle before 2 am. I checked our records and you did not take advantage of this service. We would have been more than happy to service your room at a time that was convenient for you. Regards, Roanne

Most functional kitchenette I've seen. Clean. Really nice people work there. Pool and water slide for kids and adults worth paying extra for that alone to entertain kids. Slide wasn't extreme, I have a very bad back and I was ok to go down it. Either my kids were on their best behaviour or the staff have a high tolerance for teenage and preteens going back and forth between the pool and our room (500 times). Gym has real equipment and the hot tub after was nice and clean. Clean is always a bonus. Breakfast was adequate and what you'd expect. Home made muffins were good and the coffee wasn't bad either. Highly recommend.

Another great stay here, this property is clean, quiet and comfortable. Everything was perfect. Front desk staff were great - Alex checked us in and was very friendly, cheerful and efficient and provided us with a great upgrade for being platinum members. Mairi checked us out in the morning and was fantastic as well and remembered us from our last stay a year ago ! Now that is great customer service. Waterslide, pool and hot tub were still great and we also enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. We will stay here again when in the area.

Stayed at the BW Okotoks for our soccer tournament. Rooms were great. Breakfast was awesome. Kids enjoyed the pool. I would recommend this hotel. The area around the hotel has certainly built itself up since our last visit. The new sports facility in Okotoks is also an amazing complex. Nice to see the hotel giving back by sponsoring there as well.

If you are part of a team or group you should never stay at this hotel. We came as a hockey team to an Okotoks tournament which this hotel sponsored and booked over 100 hotel nights or approx $20,000 and it was the worst hotel experience we have ever had. They want teams to stay there but will not accommodate them in anyway. The front desk staff (particularly Alex) will not listen or say anything except “we are sorry but no”. Our team tried to book and pay for a meeting room for the boys to eat pizza but they would not rent one to us, saying they had all been booked by another team in the hotel. They then told the other team that our team had booked them all. They would prefer that everyone goes up to the rooms but then sends security up to ensure no one is in the hotel or is talking in the rooms. They will not even let anyone into their breakfast area to use the tables. Even after we offered to pay for any additional cleaning they declined us. It is clear that they do not want teams staying there other than their money. It was evident that the front desk staff were calling the owners on the phone and they did not want to accommodate us at all. They did not have enough double queen rooms so my family was required to book two king rooms, they said they would give us rooms beside each other, when we checked in, the rooms were two floors apart and their explanation was that the rooms were above one another so they considered that close! The toilets in one of our rooms did not flush properly and when we called to ask for help they said there was nothing they could do until the next day but were kind enough to find a plunger and drop it off in our room for us to try and solve the problem ourselves. If you have any choice whatsoever do not stay at this hotel, especially as part of a team booking

As mentioned to you previously, we are proud supporters of all amateur sports and accommodate hotels requests from all guests, when possible. For this particular weekend, we were a Platinum Sponsor, the highest sponsorship level possible, for the Western Bantam AAA Championships, and we take pride in how the community and local businesses and volunteers came together to support and showcase athletes from across Western Canada. The rooms types blocked by the Manager of your Team were as requested. The room types chosen (a mix of double queen and king rooms) were put in a block and released based on individual call-ins from guests. This process was agreed and signed off in the Group Contract by the Manager of your Team. Your reservation was placed 2 days after the contract was received back from your Manager, so if you didn't get the room type preferred by your family, this simply means that other families from your team had already reserved the double queen rooms in the block. We are not a large hotel and have a limited number of each room type available. In your particular instance, since your 2 rooms checked in on different days, we gave you the closest room possible, but there were no adjacent rooms available. Our meeting room on this particular weekend, was booked by an outside party (not the other hockey team). When the meeting room was first requested by the Manager of your Team on Friday afternoon, it was requested for a parent's room, not a pizza party. We advised her at that time that the Meeting Room was not available as it was previously booked by others. Our hotel is not a licensed facility. Liquor cannot be consumed in the public areas (anywhere outside the guest rooms) as we do not have the appropriate liquor permitting or insurance for these types of get-togethers. As with any group, be it sporting, corporate or family gathering to celebrate a wedding or family reunion, we cater to all guests, not just those in the blocks. This particular weekend, a large portion of the guests in the hotel were not affiliated with the Bantam AAA Championship and multiple complaints were received throughout the day and evening from these guests regarding the level of noise and open alcohol in public areas of the hotel throughout the duration of the weekend. We love sporting teams, we look forward to the excitement that they bring to the hotel, however, we have to balance the needs of all guests in the hotel on any particular day. Our Guest Services Agents are pleased to provide a list of local establishments who have the ability to cater to groups and provide better food and beverage options for your team. Regards, Roanne

This newer hotel has a very friendly reception and welcoming staff on arrival. Our room was a Best Western Plus standard - clean, nice decor,a fridge, microwave and granite counter /wide vanity in the bathroom. Housekeeping fluctuated -they had new staff starting. They were very friendly. As they were just starting their new job things were missed. It changed the next day with different staff. The bed was okay - prefer other types of beds in other Best Western Pluses that we've stayed at. Its a big plus to have breakfast available on site and staff responsible for that area are very attentive and friendly. Our disappointment with this hotel was that they were not accommodating in dealing with our group's request to have a meeting room - we mean renting the space. The hotel indicated they had nothing yet there were meeting rooms that sat vacant. We needed ours for team members to meet with coaches and also to eat food after late games. Instead we had to cram everyone into a hotel room for meetings and to quickly eat so they could get to bed. When the coach was tied up at a meeting at our tournament and couldn't make it back right away the players - supervised by parents -waited quietly in the hallway and yet were told by security they were not allowed to be there. So - no place to go. Not really a hospitality type of situation. Another group at the hotel were very noisy and partied loudly in their rooms - we heard RCMP were called in to shut that down as it got extremely disruptive. My understanding is the hotel said they couldn't provide us with a room as people use it to party and then walk through the hotel disturbing others however what many in our party experienced was that other groups partied in their rooms and disturbed all the guests doing that. Kind of an odd experience for us. Has never happened in several years of travelling for our sport. Probably wouldn't return as a result.

We are Best Western Plus hotel and have many great amenities in the room such as a under the counter fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker and plenty of space for our guests to enjoy. We have a range of room types from 2 queen bed rooms to extended stay suites with separate bedrooms and kitchenettes. Our hotel is a limited service hotel and we are not a licensed facility. Liquor cannot be consumed in the public areas anywhere outside the guest rooms) as we do not have the appropriate liquor permitting or insurance for these types of get-togethers. While we provide a list of list of local establishments who have the ability to cater and provide better food and beverage options for groups, sometimes groups choose to congregate in their rooms. We manage the noise as best as possible and take appropriate remedies as need be. We absolutely do our best to cater to large groups and we want to extend to your team, what we also extend for other teams in the hotel and leisure guests who are just here for a weekend away – an enjoyable hotel stay. Let me start by saying that we have stayed in well over 30 hotels for team events over the past 10 years. I am unsure what this would be like to stay as an individual, but as a group, this was the worst experience of any hotel that we have stayed at. Inflexible, disrespectful staff, untruthful responses to requests, a security guard that made you feel like you were sentenced to Alcatraz, made our experience less than enjoyable. Over $18,000 spent by our team!! No hospitality area available (we would have paid more for that), and a threat to call the RCMP because our team was going to eat pizza in the hallway (because no hospitality room available - which was a LIE). Spend your money elsewhere. I would rather sleep in my car than do business with this establishment again. They say they are a team friendly hotel, but nothing could be more far from the truth. If you do book as a group, bring bail money.....

I recently stayed at this hotel while in Okotoks for a hockey tournament. This hotel was one of the tournament sponsors and I wonder why. They were completely unaccommodating to what I would suggest are normal team requests. They refused to provide any space for our team to meet, even when our managers offered to pay and clean up after the use. Empty meeting rooms were marked "In Use", we were told that the other team staying in the hotel had the rooms booked and the other team was told that we had them booked. Having stayed in many hotels on many sports and school-related trips, I can honestly say that this hotel is the worst that I have experienced in this regard. Best Western Okotoks has no business sense, other in the fact that they were happy to take our money and provide little service. For a hotel that is a long way from any sort of amenity (unless you consider Costco and McDonalds as dining choices), you would think that they might try harder. A lot harder. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL IF YOU ARE A TEAM!

There are usually a fair amount of sports teams who stay in this location during the tournament seasons...but the noise level is still very quiet. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the Okotoks-South Calgary area...and will be staying there ourselves again anytime we travel to the area! WE booked 2 rooms with our family. The staff were great to accommodate us with adjoining rooms with a door between which they unlocked for our convenience. The kids loved the pool and water slide and the hot pool was great for the adults. Rooms were roomy and beds were comfy. Loved the big walk in shower. Breakfast was great, staff very friendly and we loved our stay.

Liked the room, it was spacious and spotless. Liked the breakfast, lots of selection with ample seating. The bed was soo comfortable. The heating system in the room we had was real quiet. This is the best hotel in the area. Would come back anytime.

We recently stayed at the Best Western Plus in Okotoks, AB and I must say this is an excellent hotel. The rooms were clean, roomy, the bed was comfortable, staff was courteous and prompt. The breakfast is a hot meal with real ham, eggs, sausages, waffles and homemade muffins so very, very good.

Upon checking in we were not warned that the hotel was completely booked full for a children's hockey tournament. From 530AM there were children screaming, playing tag, and stampeding in halls. This was not only the 3rd but also the 4th floor too. I called the front desk SIX times but alas, had no peace from well before the crack of dawn. The hotel had the responsibility to advise me, and if they did I would have elected to stay elsewhere. Not to mention the poor location which is in the middle of nowhere… No hotel restaurant or lounge, and not a restaurant or bar to be found anywhere in the area.

I had a most enjoyable experience staying at the hotel this week. I was in Okotoks for meetings and the hotel offered a positive break between appointments. The breakfast was simple but hot and enough variety to keep it interesting. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool and workout room were small but again were clean and available if needed. I would recommend this hotel for business travel or families.

Very nice hotel, quiet, clean, great staff. Ideally located next to a Costco with a liquor store, just a short drive to downtown Okotoks. I have stayed here before, and always look forward to returning. Beds are good, pillows are full and there are plenty of them. Love this place.

Excellent hotel, exceeds the cleanliness standard of all other Best Western Plus hotels I have stayed at. It opened about 1 and 1/2 years ago and we have stayed there a few times. The breakfast originally was mediocre but this past December, it improved 100 percent. The food is now prepared on-site by excellent staff and for Christmas Day, the chef prepared homemade apple cider. Yummy!!!!

My wife and I went on a trip to visit our kids and grandkids last week and stayed at the Best Western Hotel in Okotoks. It was a very good experience and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Okotoks on either business or pleasure. Our reservations were made quickly and easily. The front desk staff were all excellent, helpful and friendly during our stay. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Particularly the bed. We had great nights sleeps - perhaps it was partially all the activity each day with the grandkids, but our nights were certainly peaceful. If I have one issue with the room it's that there is only one comfy chair in which to watch TV or read. The chair was huge. The room could have been adjusted to accommodate 2, slightly smaller but equally comfortable chairs. After all, other than business visitors, most are likely couples. Our breakfast, which was included, was quite good. The lady running the breakfast room is excellent and friendly. Whether you want fruit and yogurt or bacon and eggs, they have it all in a convenient buffet style. You can even make your own waffles if you wish. There's lots of free parking and the hotel is close to restaurants and other retail venues as may be required. The hotel only serves breakfast so you are on your own for lunch and dinner. We asked if we could invite the grandkids in for a swim and there was no problem. Everyone enjoyed themselves. The hotel also has a well equipped gym. Overall it was an great experience and we found the staff in general to very friendly and helpful. I'll happily go back there anytime.

Great staff, professional and courteous, and always helpful. The entire property is clean and well kept. Conviently located in the town of Okotoks. All of the amenities are first rate. The dining area is always very clean.

This Best Western was a great hotel in a great locations. Great staff and a great night sleep. This hotel is right across from a Costco! The bed was quite comfy and my wife wanted to inquire about the mattress. Pool was fun for the kids and the adults.

Very comfortable and clean rooms. The bed was comfy too. Staff were super friendly at check in and the kids loved and had fun at the pool. The complimentary breakfast was very nice, lots of selection for a continental for sure. Would recommend for anyone needing a place to stay in Okotoks for a night or two.

Don't get me wrong, this Best Western is nice and new, and I had a fine stay. But a part of me regrets not checking into the Royal Duke Hotel with it's beer parlor on the main floor. Definitely seems more interesting.

Thank you for your review of our hotel. We appreciate that you mentioned that the hotel is "nice and new" and that you had a "fine stay". As we are located in a new area of Okotoks, we do not have a nearby restaurant or bar. We are hoping to see a restaurant/lounge in the area in the near future.

I was told I could not go into the pool area when I was staying here with my boyfriend! I only called down to ask about the hours they were open and if it was working properly, then when we went to go for dinner the front desk lady(very rudely) stopped us on our way out and said I could NOT use the facilities at all. Even creepier is how did she know I was the one who called when that was hours ago!!! rooms are decent and clean but smaller in size for a larger family. Oddest place I have ever been and won't be back!

Please contact the Guest Services Manager at the hotel so that we can address any potential issues directly. Our pool, hot tub and waterslide are open from 7 am to 10 pm. As with any pool/hot tub, sometimes the pool or hot tub are closed for maintenance to conduct routine inspections. We take this responsibility seriously as we take great pride in ensuring a clean, safe hotel for all our guests.

This is a newer property and they seem to be doing a great job. All the staff or very helpful and polite. Rooms are great !!! My grandson really enjoyed the waterslide , spa and pool. Like new condition

Had to find a hotel at the last minute. Easy to book online. Friendly staff at check-in. My only concern is for those that love a hard mattress, this is the hotel for you. For me not so much. Otherwise the hotel is an excellent choice.

This hotel was great, zero to complain about, it was just a really nice hotel! Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, great location! Breakfast area was clean and breakfast was good. Even our dog loved it! Would for sure stay again!

Travelling across the country for Christmas, cold, weather extreme but we found a bright shinning star in the middle of this blessed time of year. Cozy, warm, missing family Best Western Okotoks filled the void with hot breakfasts Christmas surprise and a hot soak in the hot tub. We have relied on BW for high quality and they always come through with a smile. Thanks for looking after us like we were family....YOURS

This new addition to Okotoks is lovely. The room was a king deluxe accessible. It had lots of room and all the amenities you could ask for. Pleasant staff and good breakfast. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Hotel in general was nice, however booked 2 hotel rooms for 4 nights, business concluded in 3 nights went to check out at 8 am and was told that they required 24 hrs notice to change the check out date and would be charging a night for both rooms even though we were checked out. Not a good way to do business. I have never heard of a policy such as this as I stay at a lot of hotels and have never had an issue checking out early, let alone getting charged for it. Also they said that it was because of Expedia and it being a third party it was their fault, called expedia and they were content to refund the money, however needed to check with the hotel. I was told by the expedia rep that the hotel would not refund the money. Kind of a bummer. I definitely recommend being careful with your travel dates and make sure to give them more notice. I would not recommend staying here nor will I ever have anyone else with my company or affiliates stay here. Just plain bad business!!!

-I had a great stay. Aex was the front desk clerk and she was very welcoming and friendly. Even with my mix-up. -The rooms are clean and very nicely decorated. -The pool and hot tub was nice as well. -My housekeeper was amazing. She left me a little note :)

Stayed one Friday night. Hotel is very nice. Pool, waterslide and hot tub were great. Room was cozy and beds comfy. Being a new hotel everything was really nice. The only major concern was the breakfast in the morning. The food was better than other Best Westerns with real ham instead of "unknown sausage patties" however there was a sports club also staying there and the breakfast line was long long long...... Next time I will ask the front desk if any teams are staying there so I can plan my breakfast time accordingly.

Very disappointed after SPENDING OVER 500.00 FOR 3 nights and to find out that the hotel will not accommodate a late check out for our hockey team. Disgusting Attitude from Hotel Front DESK STAFF. NEVER AGAIN will we EVER stay at this HOTEL EVER AGAIN!! We will FOREVER STAY at THE HOLIDAY INN.

As per our email discussion the other day, we do our best to accommodate late check-outs when possible, however there are only so many late check-outs that we can accommodate in any given day. This particular day, we had 72 of our 82 rooms checking out and we gave you a late check-out of noon (check-out is at 11 am). If all teams playing mid-afternoon games were given late check-outs, it would be impossible to have our rooms available for incoming guests at 3 pm. I hope this provides insight to a hotel's ability to provide late check-outs.

Who would think this gem would be hiding in Okotoks. Room was large, spotless, service was amazing. Better than 5 star hotels in other countries. The free breakfast was the finest I have had anywhere. Real food not just cereal and toast. Hot fresh eggs, bacon, ham, sausage waffles you name it, a full buffet. The place was busy but the staff kept up with of us. Seemed to be a very popular place to stay.

Our Executive 2 Bedroom Suite is one of the best rooms in our hotel and one of my personal favorites for its layout and roominess. Also, thank you for taking the time to recognize the great work that the staff at the Best Western Plus Okotoks Inn & Suites does. Working in our breakfast room is similar to a sprint as opposed to a marathon. Everything happens now and fast and our staff are up to the challenge. Our full, hot, complimentary breakfast includes a host of selections with fresh-baked muffins, bagels and breads along with fresh, hot waffles made while you wait. Our pool and waterslide are quite popular among our guests and our 24 hour fitness centre is well used at all hours. I hope you had the opportunity to enjoy these facilities. Thank you again for your great review and we do hope you will come back and stay with us again soon.

Stayed for business and to get a corporate rate they refused to make our beds or clean the washroom all week. Do yourself a favour and stay at the ramada in high river if you're in the area working and need a motel, they make beds and clean and still give you a corporate rate.

We stayed at the hotel for only one night, for a hockey tournament and it was amazing. The ladies at the reception desk were very friendly and helped us out with everything we needed. We had been traveling with more than one family and the hotel had been extremely accommodating and put us all on the same floor, very close to each other. I was shocked at the continental breakfast, it had everything you could every imagine for breakfast from cereal and muffins to pancakes, waffles and sausages. On top of all that they have a pool (with a water slide), a gym and a laundry service. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the hotel.

This hotel did not disappoint in any way ! We stayed 4 nights while visiting my mother who was in the hospital. The rooms were not fancy but very new, clean, and had everything you could need including a safe, mini fridge, microwave and keurig coffee maker. The bathroom had a huge shower and marble countertops although the room itself was small it was adequate. We never heard a thing even on Friday night it was extremely quiet, not only our room but the entire hotel. Breakfast surprised us with the variety. They offered both hot and cold, sweet and savoury items as well as whole fresh fruit, juices and coffee. The staff was always very polite and very helpful with advice and directions. The pool and hot tub area was very clean with lots of clean towels. The water slide looked fun but we didn't use the pool just the hot tub. It was a nice way to unwind after a long day. There was plenty of free parking in a well lit area. I will definitely stay there again!

I came across the Best Western hotel in Okotoks while searching for accommodations that would not only be suitable for my co-workers over a 4 month period, but would be able to toggle our ever changing schedule at the drop of a dime. The staff at the hotel did just that and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'd recommend the Best Western to anyone travelling through Okotoks, and would most definitely return again.

As family from near and far we stayed at this location as it was close to the venue for my sons wedding. The service and patience of the staff was excellent. We were pretty much located on the same floor and all close together. In the morning we were able to have breakfast together and then leave as needed to go home Thank you Best Western

Pleasant staff, clean hotel, excellent service. Rooms are spacious, keurig coffee makers. Breakfast was freshly-cooked with real eggs. Hotel was full, but had security on staff keeping noise to a minimum. Would highly recommend this hotel.

This is a new hotel, rooms were huge and very clean. Did not use the pool as there were too many kids in it, not very quiet but it was a Friday night so what should I expect. Beds were very comfortable, AC worked well and was quiet. I asked for a quiet room that had no pets in the room due to allergy problems, well there was no problem with allergies, but the room being quiet didn't happen!! They had us in an adjoining room, there was a kid in the next room screaming its head off, we had to bang on the wall, it was terrible!! Once the kid went to bed it was quiet and thank goodness we had a pleasant sleep. The hallway noise was terrible as well, you could hear anyone going down the hall. No restaurants unless you drive although Costco is right next door, not a place for dinner but lunch is great. We did not attend the free breakfast. Missed my coffee in the morning, coffee maker did not work, brewed cold. Wifi worked on my computer, but not on our IPad? Price was high.

This is a brand new hotel this has large rooms, comfortable beds, and a decent breakfast with some hot food items available. The only downfall is that their are no quality places to eat within walking distance.

Only hotel I've ever been to where I asked to park under the shelter and was told to use the stalls because the police drive by the hotel twice a night and they will prevent vandalism. If it were raining it really makes for a miserable morning when everything is soaking wet.

Nice hotel and nice room but neighbouring rooms had late night visitors knocking on doors and the next night it was party time. We didn't get any sleep on our two night stay. Hotel staff spoke to the partiers but it didn't help. Hotel would not give us any sort of a refund. Expensive stay and no rest, will not stay there again.

This is a newer hotel, and for the most part, it's a very nice, clean hotel. The staff were very friendly and tried very hard to please. I requested a quiet room away from the elevators, and I didn't even see any guests in the rooms close to mine. I didn't hear any noise from other rooms or from outside - but here's the reason the hotel doesn't get 5 stars. There's a gap under the doors and you can hear every footstep in the hall. I never thought I'd complain about a hotel being too clean, but they were vacuuming the hall when I arrived at the hotel (after 8:30 pm), and by 8:20 am, they were vacuuming the hallway again and it sounded like the vacuum was in my room. If you stay here, don't expect to sleep in - and if the hotel is full, you'd also hear every single guest walk down the hall, or talk to each other outside your room. Other than the noise from the hallway, the rooms were very nice and large. I had a room with two queens, and there was enough room for a large arm chair and ottoman, a large closet, fridge, microwave and Kuerig, desk, and drawers for your items. The room is well lit - including ceiling light, and all the lamps have multiple plugs for all your electronics. The room has central air and heat. You set your thermostat, and don't have to move the temperature up and down. The nightstand between the two beds is very tiny. It's large enough to hold the lamp, phone and clock - and not much more. Beds are comfortable, but the mattresses are very hot. The beds have nice comforters, and comfortable pillows. The window have black out blinds - no light at all leaks in. A large flat screen TV with many on demand movies is available. The bathroom has a nice large shower - no tub to step over, and the countertops are marble. It's not large, but is certainly adequate. All in all this is a nice hotel - just wish they could fix the noise travelling into the rooms from the hallway.
