Resumen de la reserva
I stayed for a week for business. The room was nice and clean, hot and cold breakfeast with fresh salsa, friendly staff, excellent heated pool!!! There was always coffee ready. Walking distance to some restruants and a Taco Truck right across the street!
My favorite hotel chain. Most hotel rooms have refrigerator with freezer and microwave ovens with turntable. Bed are clean and comfortable. Rooms have individual temperature controls. Always clean and in working order. Shower is good with strong water pressure.
A lot of Hispanic speaking people at this location. Oder of weed in the hallways or smelly incents? Hard to say. Restaurant was convenient being in front of hotel. Could have clearer signs for spotting the hotel. I didn't have any problems during my stay outside of the oder.
We stayed in a junior suite and how spacious! The satellite for the TV wasn't available and the water was not cool. In July I sure love cold water. Staff was more than wonderful, accommodating and with a smile on their faces. I am a Best Western fan anyway.
The pool was great :) The room was clean. The breakfast was very limited...mostly eggs, toast & cereal....the coffee was good!
Everything was great checking in wasn't what I was expecting they don't greet you or recognize your member status and they don't offer you water unless you ask for it. Checking in just felt like they wanted to get it done fast and get rid of you. Housekeeping is excellent. They cleaned and made everything very tidy and well placed. Housekeeping smiled and would say good Morning and if everything was OK in the room.
We've stayed many times at this Best Western, and the staff has been very friendly and helpful nearly every time. Likewise everything worked in the room as expected. But this time there were mold spots at the ceiling on two walls of the bath/toilet room, and likewise the vent in that room was visibly dirty. A bit of an ick factor, but for someone who may have a sensitivity to mold, it could have been bad.
This hotel was over the top with service. They were extremely helpful. Had a great breakfast selection and even let me have a muffin for the road.
Friendly staff. The room was clean and nice room size. Very quiet at night. Everything was explained at check in. Walking distance to restaurants. Parking area was well lit and appeared safe when we arrived late in the evening. Did I mention it has an inside pool
Enjoyed our stay and will come back again. We were treated very well and we asked for rooms on the first floor which was fulfilled without any issues or questions. The hotel was clean and in a great location. Will look into this hotel if I travel this direction soon.
Stay was great! Everything from the room to the pool was clean. Customer service was amazing. Breakfast was good. Hotel is conveniently located near everything. The room was a little dated, but it was clean and had all the essentials and more. Overall value and quality was better than the higher end hotels.
This place has a nice indoor pool and hot tub, plenty of truck parking . Nice breakfast which starts at 5:00am. Nice people and kept up and clean. Ez on off freeway. A must stay place to stay with your family or alone. Not crazy outrageous price per room, very reasonable.
We stayed here overnight because we got caught in a rain storm just before reaching the grapevine while traveling to Southern California. There was quite a long wait time to check in as several construction crew employees were also checking in. From what I could tell it's a popular place for truckers and work crews to stay. The hotel is convenient to several fast food eateries and restaurants all within easy walking distance. The room was well maintained and average in decor and appearance (not a new or modern design) but spacious. I was impressed with some of the foods offered at breakfast. For example, they offered almond milk which you don't often see at hotel chains. The flatware was easy to find as the dispenser had a real fork, knife and spoon on top to easily identify what slot was what. Another plus was that they used paper bowls and plates not styrofoam (which we saw at a recent stay at a Holiday Inn Express in the Bay Area). They also had eggs and potatoes (the latter being freshly cooked - not the frozen variety kind often served at other hotels). So overall, the items mentioned above knocked this hotel up a notch for us. Average accommodations but above average breakfast.
comfortable room while traveling home. We were on our way home from Arizona. we can always count on a nice clean room with Best Western. There was plenty of parking for my truck and small trailer. It's always nice to have a hot breakfest in the morning before traveling.
HVAC not properly working, stopped working in middle of night and before that too hot, and thermostat not work properly. staff friendly but unhelpful - no experience. Breakfast not as advertised. The did give a good recommendation - have breakfast at Black Bear Diner instead of the Hotel! Beds and room clean - which is essential, but rooms not well maintained. Noisy.
EVERYTHING was great. The hotel looked new. We had a comfortable bed, a nice size room, the breakfast was very nice, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The outside was very clean and in a nice safe neighborhood. We would highly recommend this hotel.
We spent a night here while having a great birdwatching trip. The room was clean, beds and pillows comfy, the pool and spa nice and refreshing and the breakfast a plus. The only things that was mildly irritating was that the pipes would clank when the water ran - other than this it was a perfect stay.
Clean spacious room. Convenient to I-5 on the way to/from NorCal/SoCal. Helpful front desk staff. Decent breakfast. Black Bear diner nearby, 15% discount with room key. Fast food joints all around. Would stay here again.
Channels were amazing water was great meals were great and the room service was amazing as well all in all the services at the Best Western Liberty Inn . And will be definitely visiting again soon for the holidays.
The room was very clean. I would suggest that the facility clean or replace the carpets in the lobby, going up the stairs, and leading to the rooms. Other than that, the staff is always very professional and courteous. I stay here a few times a month.
Front desk was awesome very helpful was very patient. The room was very clean and perfect temperature the bed was nice and clean. Pillows were nice and fluffy. The main lobby was clean and reception area as well.
Very friendly staff. The hotel is very clean and a pleasant atmosphere. The hotel is in walking distance to many stores and restaurants. I would recommend staying here while traveling through this area.
Excellent hotel and location. The rooms are clean, modern, well lit, and well equipped. The staff here is great! Anthony at the front desk is very friendly, helpful, and professional. The housekeeping staff really keep on top of things and the whole place is clean and fresh. There are several restaurants right here. A nice Denny's is just a few steps outside the door for 24/7 dining. You can walk to everything within a couple of minutes! They have a pool and jacuzzi, good wifi, and a nice in-house breakfast if you want to eat at the hotel before taking off. This place is great for a recreational stay or for business travel. The Best Western Liberty Inn is definitely the best option in this area.
High cleaning standards here. Convenient on/off freeway in an area where this can be a challenge. Comfy beds, as always with Best Western. Staff are very well trained. I think the price was a little high for what you get, but it was comparable to others in the area and I do depend on Best Western brand to ALWAYS provide a bed that is good for my back and good for the most restful night's sleep. Our only problem was being awakened VERY early in the morning (4:30 AM) by insensitive travelers filling entire ice chests from the ice machine across the hallway. Hotel front desk person said they will put a sign in that room reminding people to close the door when filling their ice chests. But in most hotels, there is a sign saying "DO NOT FILL YOUR ICE CHEST" because that runs the machine out of ice and is very selfish.
It was nice to have breakfast and coffee available at all times. My used towel on the floor, empty lotion, water cup, and bag for ice was not replaced after cleaning the next day. The drain was clogged, and the plug was just removed and set next to the sink.
Traveling that very long stretch from LA to Sacramento, if your going through in the late afternoon and it's very hot and you're tired this is the place to stay. It's an easy exit close to the highway, stop, rest and the next day you'll be refreshed and ready to go.
Very nice staff, great room with many facilities, and the breakfast and pool were very nice additions. This is a hotel next to a highway, and thats because its aimed at people who are on their way between bigger cities in the area. All the more reason for me to be so pleasantly suprised by the free facilities this hotel offers. 10/10 would recommend.
It was overall delightful experience in our stay at Best Western. Restrooms and the rooms were overall clean. We used the indoor pool and it was great as well. They had separate towels which we used. Breakfast was provided which was a delightful surprise. Overall, I would definitely recommend this Inn.
Super service, got an upgrade for free and opened the pool later because we got a long trip. Comfortable room! Breakfast good too. Only thing is the train noise on the morning. You can go there for sure. It's super calm and come back for sure if we go there
The hotel is fairly close to the interstate, so it was easy to find. The building is two stories tall so if you are physically handicapped, or you have a heavy suitcase, you may want to stay on the bottom floor as there are no elevators. The stairway door on the back of the building is unsigned on the first floor. The upper door is clearly signed and opened just in case you have make a quick escape. Anyway, I passed the door as I entered the building, so I took the long route to get to my second floor room. The only main complaint I have is the bathroom. The toilet paper is about 28 inches from the toilet. As I sat upright (doing number 2), I stretched out my arm(27 inches long) and cannot reach the toilet paper. I had to lean sideways to the paper. Others had the same issue because the toilet seat is getting loose due to the added stress of the leaning. The room has all the typical amenities. The breakfast has some normal hot items: scrambled eggs, biscuits, and gravy. You can make your own waffles. Overall, I recommend staying here just grab the toilet paper from the holder before you do your business.
Great place to stay. Clean, the staff is nice and accommodating, indoor pool and jacuzzi that gets hot, free breakfast in the morning, fridge and microwave. Great place to stay. Always happy when I stay there.
Hotel was good just the tv never worked even after multiple trouble shoots. So early to bed. Comfy beds. Really good breakfast for motel food. Near almond orchard so good back road to walk dogs. I'd stay again
From the minute I walked in, I was warmly greeted and helped, with such a warm atmosphere in the lobby. I quickly sensed other guests were happy also as I passed them in hall. I felt safe. The room was extremely clean with everything working wonderfully (heater, blinds, hot water, tv, lights an everything. Staff were caring an helpful when asking about parking.
The room was very nice, quiet, with a comfortable bed. The facility has easy access to and from I-5, just far enough away to be quiet. It is surrounded on three sides with a variety of places to eat and gas up the car. There is also easy access across the freeway to an outlet mall.
Staff was kind and courteous and quick resolve issues that arose. Breakfast was included and was delicious. Room was clean and organized. Definitely would stay again. Location is perfect with surrounding restaurants, fast food and gas choices
I only stayed one night but everything was very nice. The room was clean, the ice maker full and ready for my use. I did not have breakfast in the morning so I cannot comment on that. Staff was very helpful. Check-in and checking out was easy and efficient. The rooms could use a face lift but they provided everything I needed.
The room was clean and comfortable, the beds small but super comfortable. At night there was a lot of noisy music and people walking down the hall talking could be heard in the room, interrupting our rest.
It was good staying at the Best Western, good breakfast and you can drink coffe all day long. But be carefull when you go to walk a round, don't go to walk by 144 Street or Avenue during after lunch because is very hat and there is not any good place to rest or take a time inserta the shadow of the trees.
Hotel is older, tired carpets etc. The breakfast was sparse. The staff were nice. We were concerned about a small homeless encampment behind the hotel alleyway. The staff assured us that they have not had any criminal behavior from the residents of the camp. We believed them and saw no reason not to! We would stay again, but it is basically a 2 star hotel at best.
While the BW is by no means a "luxury" hotel, the accommodations were very clean, amenities met all of our needs (and then some), and the people were very friendly. My highest recommendation is that I would be perfectly comfortable in booking this hotel for my wife or my daughter to spend the night (or several nights) here by themselves.
We only use this property as a midwayxstop on the way to San Diego. I wouldn't stay here more than one night. Needs an update and deep clean badly. The bed wasn't comfortable and the room didn't feel clean to any of us.
Great motel close to restaurants and gas/EV charging. Clean with friendly and accommodating staff. Nice stop to rest after a long day of driving. Would definitely stay here again. Rooms are spacious and affordable.
We enjoyed our stay here. Covid protocols are in confused mixed use, but they're trying. The hotel is clean, welcoming & the staff is hospitality oriented. The indoor pool and hot tub really were relaxing after a long day on the road.
I expected to stay at this hotel like any roadside hotel/motel. Just a place to sleep and head back to the road early morning. But it actually surprised me. The staff is nice, the rooms were comfortable, and actually slept very well. I would actually stay here again. Although, Best Western (except for one I stayed at in New Mexico), never lets me down.
I blew a tire on the freeway heading back home to SoCal on a Sunday and all tire places were closed. Had my elderly parents with me. Best western pulled through. It was very clean and close to the tire shop/freeway to get us back on the road the next day. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again if needed. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was a plus!
After for driving for 15 hours on I5, it was nice to find a BW. Room was good and so was the breakfast. Just wish the rates were a little lower! Plenty of room in the room, but found to be a little sterile!
It was relaxing to arrive at Liberty Inn and settle in to our nice unit. We are leaving southern California to make our way home in BC. I wasn't able to get a ground unit. We had an upstairs unit and there is no elevator. My husband has a back issue after having an operation 2 years ago
The associate at the front desk was awesome. Only hiccup was the room key didn't work. He fixed it right away. Was very patient. Explained all the local eateries to us. Told us the best place to park. Stuff like that.
You could hear people on the floor above walking around. You could hear the next-door neighbor taking a shower. We could hear people unlocking their doors. Did not sleep well. I would not recommend this hotel.
Have stayed here several times in the past, as well as, January 11, 2022. Very nice rooms: large area to relax, in room refrigerator, Clothes Closet, separate wash sink area from the closed bathroom. Even with Covid issues they still offer breakfast.
My only complaint was our room was by the exit door in the hall, we could hear people coming in and going out late, maybe lock that usage of that door and use only main lobby door after 10 o'clock and breakfast food is fair nothing extra just the usual, needs more variety to choice from, very clean
Wonderful staff. Hotel close to many things and places to eat. I travel for business a lot and I always feel rested after staying at a best western. This best western did just that for restful two nights!
This is a nice clean hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room was pretty quiet. No extra frills but perfect for one night stay on the road. The staff was friendly and breakfast was pretty good. Lots of places to eat nearby.
I stay at Best Western properties several times throughout the year, and almost without exception, they are well-maintained, clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. However, there was nothing remarkable about this particular property. There was a 1" - 2" bug waiting for us on the bathroom counter, and the breakfast was disappointing, (food choices very limited, area unkempt, and food stale). Despite the (relatively minor) disappointments, I won't let this one experience change my opinion about Best Western properties in general, as I think they are typically comparable to much higher priced lodging options.
In a rush we had to make the social to normal drive and needed a hotel. Best Western is typically consistent and this one was across from a Tesla station so I had seen it many times. Good location and looked clean for the road. I realize there are critters found when traveling through the Central Valley but the was scattered food in the parking lot creating lots of roaches. I was so tired that I chose to just walk around them and hope I didn't step on any. After we got situated and ready for bed the tv didn't work. I contacted the front desk, and was told we could move to a different room but at this point I just needed to sleep. The bedding was unusually thin so I looked to see exactly what the bed was made with, it was two sheet and a thin blanket, no comforter. The bathroom appeared to be quickly cleanedThe alarm clock went off at midnight which I'm assuming was the guest before playing with the clock. When I woke up the next day at 9:00 I went to get breakfast to find out that I was 5 minutes too late and they told me it was closed. Since they were just starting the cleaning it would have been in good customer service to allow me to grab something that was already out but that wasn't done. I went back to my room to double check the breakfast time but the way that it was stamped on my room key sleeve made it difficult to read the end time. I considered discussing it with the receptionist but she was on a smoke break when we were ready to check out and didn't seem in a rush to finish her cigarette. The receptionist did mention that another guest had made the same complaint about the same room we were in so this was not the first time they were made aware of the tv problem. The cleanliness of the room was also ok. There was hair in the restroom floor, tile was cracked, and dirt was in the corners. Overall I won't be back to this location. I would rather drive further and stay at my usual best western where the staff is friendly, the rooms are more comfortable and clean, breakfast is available longer, etc.
The Location was great. It was a little bit b4 the grapevine. There was a lot of restaurants around in the area and A Starbucks. The bed and pillows were Comfortable. The Room was nice and clean as well as the eating area for breakfast.
This is a great place to stay if your traveling from lower Socal to the Bay Area...it's about midway. Getting through LA is really tough these days...often adding two to three hours to a normal 3 hour trip. This place is three hours north of San Diego with no traffic...6 hours during the daytime...so, a good place to stop. Good restaurant selection along the I-5 too.
Staff is super friendly rooms are clean, very attentive. Definitely will stay here again if I come through this area again. Went to the store for a minute and came back to my room looking spotless! ♥️
The television stopped working at 11pm and throughout our stay the sound would go off. The receptionist said it was due to the location but we had stayed at a hotel nearby and we didn't have that problem. Also, the water wouldn't get hot enough when showering.
The Liberty Inn is located near everything you could need: Denny's Chipotle, Panda Express, multiple gas stations, even a Tesla charging station. All mentioned places are within walking distance. However, the hotel pool is drained and closed, and breakfast is simply grab-and-go; both are understandable during COVID and are easily resolved with a walk outside. However. the nightly rate is still as high as ever.
Driver This hotel is great great service great Parking great service great food I !overall I recommend this place to anyone with there family , I was very relaxed and had a quiet night and felt at home with the service
I was appalled that the front desk staff did not wear masks, and the maids did not either! After traveling, and staying at Fullerton, and Laguna Beach hotels where all staff wore masks, this was quite a disappointment!
This is a kinda a diamond in the ruff while i ususally stay in bakersfield at other branded hotels this was quit a suprise. The wind was too much to go over the grapevine so i checked in. no reservation. you would think out here by the truck stop its not gonna be the greatest. how suprised i was. the tub was so clean actually everything in room was great I would definetly stay here and reccomend it friends
Very comfortable quiet room Felt really comfortable with my bike in back of truck overnight, security was excellent. It was an easy drive to Taft in the morning for our AMA race. There was even fresh coffee at 5 a.m.
This is really the 'best' Best Western&we highly recommend it.It is evident that the management&staff care about the property&the customers. We have found that everything is always maintained properly&the staff is always accommodating to your needs!
the inn is relatively new so it was a nice building to stay in. it was very quiet considering all the trucks going by on 5 all night long. they were out of eggs and sausage when we went for breakfast. no one was attending to the breakfast. i had to go to the front desk to get someone to help. it took a long time for her to get there and heat up the eggs and sausage. she then just dumped the eggs in with the dry dreggs that was left in the serving dish. didn't clean it out at all. very disappointed with the breakfast.
Facility and staff were very nice. The room was quiet and everything worked as advertised. Lots of eating choices within walking distance. Large number of Tesla recharge stations right in from of the motel.
The hotel from the exterior is in great shape. However, the interior of the room need some updating. There needs to be current amenities such as USB charging ports for electronic components. The tile flooring was loose and the grout was missing in a majority of the tile joints. The bedding pillows were very uncomfortable, as they were too full and firm. The staff was nice and cordial. The breakfast offered was good.
Perfect location for our business needs. Convenient to freeway. Staff and manager were all friendly and willing to help in anyway. Loved having the pool to jump into after a days work! Will make this our hotel to stay at in the future whenever we are in the area.
When unable to get Fox News, I spoke to the Front Desk and was told they used to get it, without any explanation. I checked the television and found; the channel was blocked. However, no other channel was blocked or restricted. Making America Great Again Every Day Harry Lanahan PS; We hope this problem is corrected so we may stay at this clean. Convenient and modern hotel.
Super clean, Comfortable Bed, full size pillows and the Best Shower! Will stay here next time I'm traveling thru. Lots of restaurants choices nearby. Friendly professional staff and good hot coffee. Clean, safe and well maintained location.
This hotel is right next to every type of food restaurants that you could want. The staff is curtious and kind. The rooms are clean and smell great. If your in the area I recommend that you stay here, you won't be disappointed.
Nice place to stop. There was plenty of restaurant choices like Chipotle, Habit, Panda, Denny's. There is a outlet mall with lots of stores and a great place to walk off the long days drive. Hotel was easy to find on the west side of the interstate. Plenty of parking. Hotel was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was ready early and a nice choice of food. Check in was a breeze.
This location needs to update the rooms. Extremely uncomfortable mattresses, sheets, pillows. Old and worn out. Bathroom amenities not working. No place near the bed to plug in devices. Staff members were nice.
This hotel is very reasonably priced and is also convenient to the few restaurants in the area. This is a good place to stay if visiting the local businesses on business, the outlet mall or stopping for the night.
This hotel is nice....Nothing fancy. It is conveniently located amongst dozens of restaurants....Most fast food. The staff are friendly. It is a clean hotel and nothing fancy...Bed, food, TV and walking distance too all restaurants.
This hotel is located 12 miles north of Lebec and 3.5 miles north of Grapevine on highway 5. The rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately, the main reason we stayed at this hotel was for the indoor pool but the pool water was too cold, even for kids. In contrast, the hot tub was too hot. As the result, our kids were quite disappointed that they could neither enjoy the pool or the hot tub.
Stayed here for layover to South Bay LA. Check-in smooth, manager quite accommodating. After checking into our room, found a small pile of old dog crap (somebody had snuck a dog in as this was a non pet-friendly room) in the corner of the room. The Manager was terribly embarrassed and got us into another room. He wanted to up-grade us, but we declined as it was two floors up. He managed to put us in a room right door to the fouled room, so we could move our things at our leisure. Housekeeping needs a refresher!
I have stayed here a few times and this is the first time I have had a problem. Don't take a room in the far end of the building. There is a truck park next door and it is very noisy. Otherwise it is OK.
We drove from LA to San Francisco. To avoid the morning traffic coming up from Santa Clarita we decided to find a place to lay over around Tejon. It's a 2 hour drive from downtown LA and 4 to go until SF. We found this BestWestern for a reasonable price and decided to stay there. When we checked in we discovered that the room was booked (on a govt. travel agency website) for 2 although we were 4 people in the party. The hotel had availability and so the front desk immediately changed our room. The price difference was USD10, which I find reasonable to pay for a mistake that a travel agent made. This place is close by the Tejon outlet mall, and had we had time in the morning, we would definitely drive by there as it is told this is the least busy of all shopping malls.Would def stay here again
Good hotel in convenient location just off the 5 freeway. Our room was on the side of the hotel facing the freeway. You can hear the freeway but its far away enough that it didn't bother our sleep. The hotel is clean and the staff is nice and professional. The room was what you would expect from a Best Western. Decent and clean enough. Breakfast was just ok but that is sort of what you expect for a free breakfast.
A reasonably priced Best Western with many places to eat and shop close by. I have stayed here at least 50 times over the past 6-7 years and find it to be a great place to overnight when traveling from Northern Caifornia to LA.
I'm a Best Western Rewards member that has stayed in BW hotels all over the US. This is one of the worst BWs I've experienced. I did request a ground floor room ahead of time but was not given one during check-in. There was no elevator and the top of the stairs is quite dangerous because the ground is not level. One positive remark is that even though I booked the hotel via third party, they still gave me points for my stay.
Traveling I-5 gets tiring. We travel from Northern Ca to Southern Ca every 3 weeks. This is our resting spot. Beds are comfy, rooms are clean, and the location is perfect. Close to everything. Staff is friendly and efficient and breakfast is awesome.
We were able to get a much needed rest and relaxation here after a long road trip. This inn was quiet and stressless, for which my wife and I were truly grateful. We will certainly keep this in mind for our next trip to Southern California.
We we're pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Our room was great size with nice king size bed and sofa sleeper which had also good mattress. Pool with jacuzzi was great. Breakfast area could be bigger.
Bad smell, noisy (you will hear everything about what is happening at the front desk.), low breakfast quality, creaking bed. Another BW hotels (Heritage inn, kettleman city...) are much better than this place. I don't understand why this one is more expansive than the others.
They upgraded us to a King suite which was very nice. It had a large sitting area and was very clean. The inn was quiet and our only complaint was the amount of light that came in around the door. The staff was friendly and breakfast was the typical fare and included some hot items.
We had decided not to travel across the "Grapevine Highway" into Los Angeles on a Friday night so we stayed at the BW in the foothills on the North side of the Grapevine. It was a great decision. The place is very clean and friend service. There is an indoor pool available and a full breakfast for free in the morning.
We needed a break on our trip from Washington State to San Diego. We thought it would be best to stop before we tackled the grapevine and LA. It is a large hotel with nice big rooms. Very quiet as we were tired and went to bed early. Lots of food choices close by.
The room we were put in had a door that wouldn't lock. We had to move to another room. Should have been discounted for the inconvenience. No. Didn't care. The breakfast in the morning was fine, but could of used two waffle pans since there was quite a line for waffles.
On our way to Universal Studios, from Northern California, we chose to stay here for the night as a stopping point on our trip. We had a late check in, at 11:30pm, and were promptly checked in. This hotel located in Grapevine with many gas stations and food options near the hotel. It's a great area to take a break and then head into Los Angeles valley the next morning. We had a room with 2 queen beds and since we were just there to sleep, we had a good stay. Room was clean and comfortable. They offer continental breakfast in the morning, but we slept in and didn't use it. They have a big dining area and the breakfast smelled great. Would highly recommend, especially if you need a place to stay overnight during your travels.
This your basic Best Western, well traveled, well used, needs a little TLC. It is clean and quiet, there is every kind of food you could want nearby. The staff seems irritated with everything they do, but they do it in a quick manner. Near the freeway to LA. I have stayed here many times over the years, so I could tell you if there was changes. I travel in a large truck , so the truck stop next door is a plus for me. I hate to tell them, but they are building a Hampton Inn across the fwy.
I always get a good rest here. The rooms are updated and clean. the staff is very helpful. There are many places to chose from to eat at. two Starbucks to chose from. There is a big outlet shopping mall.
A reliable stop overnight. Restaurant choices near-by are mostly fast food. Outlet Mall across the freeway is new and easy to access. The room is spacious and fairly up to date. The king bed is comfortable.
For logistic purposes, we decided to stop in the middle of our eight hour drive between northern and southern California, and chose to stay here. You would have to have a similar need to want to be here, as it is really not an interesting area.
Only one high peep hole on handicap room doors. Hotels usually have 2 peep holes, one for regular guests and a lower peep hole for wheelchair guests. Also need some counter between toilet and sink. Need this for toiletries. We enjoyed our stay. Front desk woman was very professional. Room was comfortable and very clean. Will definitely stop there again. Convenient to I-5 with a variety of restaurants close by.
The pool was awesome, actually warm and very clean. Staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. Breakfast was nice. Will definitely stay here again. Lots of restaurants and shopping with a mile of the hotel.
The staff are great, the room is clean and fine, the walls are thin and the noise keeps me up. If it weren't half an hour's drive from the next alternative, I would never stay here. When you're tired on I-5 near the bottom of the Grapevine, it's the only convenient choice I'm aware of. If you can make it to the next motel, like the Motel 6 in Gorman, that's a better option.
The day after Thanksgiving we were driving home from the Los Angeles area . It was late so we decided to stop and stayed at this Best Western. Was a very nice experience. We didl not try the breakfast as we slept in but the breakfast room was very inviting.
We made a reservation and were assigned the room near the exterior door. In addition to highway noise, the comings and goings of guests all night long, slamming the door, made for a miserable night. The noise was so bad, it sounded as if there was not even a closed door between the room and the hallway. Unlikely we will ever stay there again.
Very nice Best Western hotel. We had an extra large king room with a sofa and chair. The room was very clean and new looking. The furniture was up-scale and in new condition. The mattress was very comfortable! The hot breakfast had a nice selection and tasted great. Lots of restaurants nearby too. See separate note on suggestion for room location. There is some freeway noise, but was not a problem for us.
great service; clean rooms; no nearby eat in restaurants; Hotel is ideal for a shopping weekend; the outlet center is across the road. There is a large choice of fast food restaurants around the hotel.
No elevator and most rooms are on second floor. Not handicap compliant. WiFi doesn't work. Staff could not follow reservation instructions and then made me ask twice more for a rollaway cot for my 6 year old. Had to break the crib down myself. Not what I needed with a cranky child and an 8 pm check in.
This Hotel is in a great location off I-5 with good restaurants close by. The staff were very friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable beds. They offer breakfast. Only thing that surprised me was they would mail my post cards for me, I thought that was a little odd. I would recommend staying here.
The hotel was right off Interstate, so it was easy to find. Check in was easy, but there was no mention of the breakfast hours or where the room was located. We should have asked. The room was spacious and clean. Our room was on the second floor and there is no elevator. Not a problem for us. The location is ideal for road trippers and truckers. It is right off the interstate, there is a good restaurant selection, and there is an excellent discount mall right across the interstate.
it is a nice , clean , friendly and up to date hotel ,had a indoor pool and hot tub, breakfast was included (breakfast buffet was open till 9am), right off the highway , we would stay there again , again nice !!
Adequate room, carpets need cleaning, an elevator would be nice...missed breakfast but fruit and coffee available at late checkout. I would recommend but not excitedly to others. Overall OK stop...at least it was open at 5:00am check in!!!!
a nice clean hotel and walking distance to restaurants. breakfast is good and breakfast gal very nice. Close to freeway and a good place to stay before you go through LA if u are southbound. Mexican restaurant next door has good food and hotel gives you a discount.
I really enjoyed my stay. The friendliness from the front desk is great. Especially with a request for a king bed. which is what i needed. would be staying here again. I do wish, i could get less light from the hall way through the door.
It provides the standard B/W amenities and services. The room is quite and clean. The bed is comfortable. It serves my need well. The location is convenient with food and service stations nearby. It is a good place to have a stopover at this place.
The hotel was clean which is of first importance. 2 chairs and a table in the room. Nice TV. Sink separate from shower/commode. Plenty amount of counter space. Plugs on table to charge things - good for computer. Nice pool and spa. Would definitely return.
This was perfect for what I needed. I was going up I-5 needed to sleep after being on the road for a few days. slept great. Everything was clean and fresh feeling.I would highly recommend this as place to stay.
super clean SUPER!!! the ladies from the front desk to the maids made absolutely sure everything was top notch CLEAN. the breakfast was hot and filling and fresh. the coffee was perfect. there was something for everyone to eat and get full on. choices of fresh fruit also. We were happy for the hot tub and the pool. also super clean. the pool was too cold (for us) the hot tub was great. air conditional seemed a little weak
Nice hotel - got swimming pool (didn't get a chance to try it, but will pack for it next time!) - clean rooms - really enjoyed my stay. Felt very welcome. Parking was easy. Rooms were more than adequate - mine was clean and comfortable..
The location of this hotel is great if your heading south as it puts you at the start of the grapevine first thing in the morning before it gets hot, and puts you in L.A. at a reasonable time for traffic. It does get busy at the gas station and Starbucks in the morning, the whole exit is travel friendly so overall its busy. but only in the morning was it bad. Comfortable beds, good breakfast. Biggest thing to me here was the wide range of T.V. channels. They even had Free Speech T.V. so I could get down on some Stephanie Miller in the morning. Nice, Clean and Comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
This is a nice and convenient place to stay if you are on your way to the L.A. area. We booked 5-6 hours before arriving and the Motel would have been full had we booked much later. Decent room and breakfast.
Great location for shopping at the El Tejon outlets, and within walking distance to fast food. Watch your step at the top of the stairs on the second floor. There is a weird slope that we nearly tripped on.
Best Western Lebec is a pleasant, clean hotel for travelers going North or South on Interstate 5 or 99 Highway. Close to Tejon Outlet shopping, restaurants, and fuel. Most enjoy an indoor pool and Jacuzzi.
Average hotel, be prepared to haul your luggage upstairs, no elevator, and bring your own snacks as the vending machine is down stairs and not much selection. Bed was lumpy and felt like a Lucile Ball show where my wife and I kept rolling into the middle of the bed. In room coffee was like an old sock was used as the filter.
Had a great stay. Room was very clean front desk nice and helpful. Shopping and eateries close by. Pool was nice and also clean. I liked that no pets were allowed in rooms which make it more cleaner with no odors. We will be back to stay at The Liberty Inn!
Good choice of a hotel in this area. Convenient I-5 access. Close to lots of restaurants. Affordable quality overall. Probably would classify this Inn as "mid-range" or semi-luxury. 2 queen beds for $130/night seemed fair.
Suffice to say... The young woman working the front desk on the evening of July 15, 2017 (as well as our past stays) hates customers and will leave the front desk unattended for at least fifteen minutes at a time. We know because we waited for her return to check in. She wont apologize for your wait and will make you feel as if you are imposing on her for assisting you in checking in. She also checks you out with the same lack of concern!
Very comfortable place to stay. Clean rooms and great staff. I would recommend Best Western hotels. Indoor swimming pool was nice. Great location for nearby shopping and plenty of options for places to eat,
Needs to a lot Cleaner and Maintained, the rooms smelled. The restroom was not properly cleaned. The rooms were not maintained, tiles were visibly dirty old and cracked. Carpet was dirty and the walls were spattered by unknown substance!
Great, clean rooms and staff...breakfast had great options but not set up to efficiently. We stopped there unexpectedly during 4th of July weekend and was surprised that they were not up-charging room prices like neighboring hotels!
Perfect respite from a long drive.. room was clean, calming and cool. Grateful for easy check in and check out. Breakfast flow was congested but overall it was good. Friendly guests that offered good travel advice
We stayed at this hotel on the way to Southern California. It was very clean, quiet with high-speed WiFi. The Continental Breakfast was adequate and the area has about every fast food brand in existence. An outlet shopping mall is a couple of miles away although we did not visit it.
This was a very enjoyable experience from beginning to end! The check was professional AND friendly at the same time. Very nice room and clean. Good bed. Lots of traveler amenities close by. I will for sure stay here again.
Best location for many side trips. Outlet shopping and Restaurants nearby. This Best Western location is in a scenic location that is convenient to Bakersfield and Hollywood. We toured Kings Canyon and Sequoia NP and stayed here before going on to Hollywood and Disneyland. I would like to explore this area in detail on my next trip to California and would definitely stay here again.
Generally not a big fan of Best Western establishments as the quality tends to be lacking. Stopped here one night as I couldn't safely drive anymore. Facility is clean and the staff friendly. However, I didn't like the bed - it seemed to sag in the middle. Advantages: right off I-5, close to Starbucks, a number of fast food joints and refueling spots.
There were cockroaches in the bathroom, the staff was horrible and the pool was dirty hair all over with no pool nets available to clean! I normally stay with best western hotels near Disneyland but I never will gain after this experience!
Clean Room, Quiet Room, Friendly & Helpful Staff, Nice & Easy access location from the freeway, nice places to eat around hotel. It suited it's purpose as we were just passing through. I would stay there again!
I booked this location because my husband had a conference which involved going to Tejon Ranch Conservancy. We often choose Best Western when we aren't sure of where we are going or have not had a place recommended for us. As usual, the hotel was clean, staff was helpful and amenities were great. It states it's located near a Mexican Restaurant, which it is - but there also plenty of other options within walking distance as well. Would stay again - if we find ourselves in that area.
Great location ,plenty of services around the property,i drive a tour bus and use this location often on my way back to los angeles Plenty of parking, clean parking lot Laundry facility is clean Will continue to stay here!
Barely adequate hotel in the middle of a busy commercial center. The abundance of fast food outlets ensures that one will not go hungry. The hotel has extremely small rooms, average furnishings, clerk was friendly and the place was clean - other than that, nothing to recommend it.
Located on I-5 at the base of the I-5 Grapevine, this hotel provides first class accommodations with spacious rooms, king and queen size beds, plenty of parking, an indoor pool and jacuzzi. Plenty of restaurants can be found within walking distance. Service is quick and efficient, a hot breakfast is available in the morning.
Best Western Liberty Inn is a great location for I-5 travel and convenience for EV charging at adjacent Tesla Supercharger. A great value! Quiet rooms, great breakfast, staff very courteous. Nice area to stretch your legs if you want to go for a walk!
Hotel is an average BW hotel. Clean room with good firm bed. Internet was sometimes slow. If you are near the ice machine, you can definitely hear it. Breakfast was an average BW breakfast (have had better BW breakfasts). Outlets were plentiful.
Hotel is very convenient. They check in staff was very courteous. Cleanliness of excellent. That was a little hard. But room very clean. Breakfast a nice variety. We were very happy with the room. And would like to stay again.
The staff was nice and helpful. The room and hotel were very clean in and outside. Right off the highway so easy to get back on the road in the morning. Only downsides were that they ran out of eggs about 10 minutes before breakfast ended at 930am and the pool is so cold you cant really enjoy it. Hot tub was nice though!! Enjoyed our stay.
After deciding the weather would mean an early stop, it seemed like Lebec popped into view and saw the Best Western sign. After trying to figure out where the hotel was hiding, was surprised to see all the nice eateries near it, so figured might as well give the BW a whirl. So glad i did, it was by far one of the nicest BW hotels I have frequented in some time. Helpful staff, clean room and very good breakfast. Not much road noise was a plus,! There were some folks in the check in area just sitting and chatting, and the place felt comfy. Would highly recommend this hotel.
Very nice very clean hotel stay if you're in the area. When traveling on Interstate 5. Very good amenities in the surrounding area. The pool in the jacuzzi are nice indoor pool and jacuzzi rooms are nice and professional
The rooms and hotel overall was very clean and updated. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast wasn't anything to write home about but the cleanest BW I have stayed in out of 4 this month. I would stay here again.
This hotel as most Best Westerns are convenient. The food is good. The front desk and lobby area is presentable. This was the first time I had a room with a broken faucet and urine on the bottom of the toilet seat. We arrived late, after midnight and did not want to complain. We stayed and left without comment. As I stated, Best Western is convenient.
I'm told that one can reach a Pokemon gym and do battle while soaking in the hot tub at this motel. Of course, this is just rumor. I wouldn't have any personal experience...no sirreee...wonderful breakfast too, with eggs and sausage, not just the usual high-carb stuff.
This is a very clean and quiet hotel. Nice comfortable bed. Friendly, helpful and professional staff. Good restaurants or fast food within walking distance for lunch or dinner. A good place to stop in the afternoon and spend the night before attempting to navigate the L.A. traffic.
Clean, friendly, average and the hot portion of the breakfast could be better. At least 10 fast food restaurants within walking distance and a mall 1/2 mile away, does have a hot tub and an indoor pool and a tesla charging station across the street
Very quiet. Easy check in and check out. Wonderful staff and very acccomodating. Very nice decor. Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of available seating. Room was very comfortable. Easy access to restaurants and fuel.
Nice place to stay. Great indoor pool and jacuzzi to hang out in and relax. Rooms are very nice and cleaning. Greatly decorated and furnished. Hotel is located near tejon outlets to do your shopping. Restaurants are walking distance. Good place if your passing by or wanting to stop and relax for a day.
Clean and very nice motel. Stopped in on a "by chance" stay. Was pleasantly surprised and very glad.... Slept very well and everything else was good... would definitely stay here again. Little pricey, but you get what you pay for...
We stopped at this Lebec location on our way to Oregon from Arizona. We wanted to get through LA and over the grapevine. The location was easy to find and lots of food choices walking distance to hotel. I would stop here again.
This hotel is clean, well cared for, has nice pool, and is perfect for those needing a place to stay on their travels to southern CA. Breakfast included and a selection of restaurants close to the hotel, many within walking distance.
Lovely place to stay & shop. Not much else around. Room was clean, pool was fine, no complaints at all. Walked to Mexican restaurant next door and enjoyed a great dinner. Outlet mall is only 1/2 mile away. Lots of restaurants everywhere. Staff was excellent.
This is a wonderful place to stay. There is no elevator but that was not a problem. We are impressed with the way they all worked together to make it a pleasant place to stay. The pool is great and they have washing machines and dryers if you need them.
Hotel was stifling hot. The breakfast room was not staffed and items were not restock as needed, tables were dirty and guests had to clean them. The staff was not very friendly. I would not stay here again.
Management has recently raised rated and reduced services (terminated hot breakfast); soiled bedspread and carpet; quality of bathroom tissue is atrocious (it does not tear; it shreds!); leaky sink faucet.
I Love staying at the Best Western Liberty Inn. The rooms are clean and updated. There's an indoor pool and Jacuzzi. The Jacuzzi has the best jets, there wonderful! Great choices of food and gas plus a Starbucks. There's a huge factory outlet there to.
We have been staying in this hotel on our return home from Arizona and southern California for years. Courtesy, great value and comfort are the norm. We also enjoy the military discount which we have not seen from most hotels. It is nice to be appreciated for service to our country.
This hotel is in a perfect spot. There are plenty of places to eat and shop. You will also be able to meet many different people. Many of the dining locations are within walking distance so that makes it even better. When my family travels from Fresno to LA or Oxnard, we ALWAYS STOP at the Petro Truck stop and this is where the hotel is located.
Nice, clean, convenient hotel. Close to freeway without noise. If you are young and don't mind stairs this is a nice hotel. If you are elderly toting bags up stairs to the second floor after a long drive can be a strain. Clean breakfast room.
The only decent hotel on the I-5 between SF and Valencia is Harris Ranch (if you can stand the smell). If you need to stop elsewhere, don't expect very much. This Hotel is OK for what is is, The rooms are big and clean. The shower works. The beds are comfortable. WiFi mostly works. The breakfast is good. We had a room on the 2nd floor. This hotel has a design flaw in that the lobby is open to the 2nd floor, and with check-ins all night, the noise from the lobby is unacceptable. The place is beginning to show its age (as are all the other Hotels along the I-5). We might stay there again, but would request a room at the far end of the hall.
We arrived very tired and were able to check-in a bit early, this was a big help for us. The hotel is nearby many eateries and right by I-5. We didn't use the breakfast this time, but they have a very assorted menu of items.
stopped in before our climb with weighted down trailer , it gave us a break and our truck from a 10 hour trip Very Nice over all. Very clean. We always stay at best westerns, would stay here again, good food in the area right across the street that was a plus.
The single staff person on site (receptionist) when we arrived here for a one night stay was indifferent, even rude, and didn't even know how to get on the wifi, Half eaten food was left on a table in the breakfast eating area when we checked in at 5:00pm, and we had the displeasure of killing a 1" long cockroach in our room, which was not all that special to begin with. To say this place is an "Inn" is waaaay overstating the property. The reasonable rate is its only attraction.
it was very old and very good idea to do some remodeling. the area is very nice and the outlet is going to help the hotel. also elevator would have been helpful. The stairs will be hard to climb with a big lugauges
Room was clean, comfortable and roomy. Staff could have been a bit nicer but no big deal. Got in late but still some choices for grabbing a bite close by. Parking was a bit snug but ok for handicapped spaces
Pulled in for the night and was pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff, clean room and value pricing. Quiet location and decent breakfast included. Will stay next time passing through. Also nice Mexican restaurant one exit south.
I'm very impressed with this hotel. It's clean and the bed is very comfortable. The indoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi are a plus. Very clean. Great location too since there are so many restaurants nearby
We are taking the long way home to Idaho via California after spending the winter in Arizona. We chose the Best western Liberty Inn by chance. This turned out to be one of our better choices. The hotel room was large, comfortable bed. Amenities include free wifi, breakfast and parking. And the room rate was very reasonable. This was just a one night stay, but I would definitely stay here again. There are many restaurants nearby, we chose the Ironskillet, both my husband and I had to leave food on our plates, the food was excellent and the portions were more than generous. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
This motel is undergoing some renovation, so it was a bit torn up, but that did not cause any problems. There was no noise, and the staff offered suggestions as to how to avoid any inconvenience. It's location was excellent because we could use the Tesla Superchargers during our stay.
The room was very nice, as you would expect from Best Western. The downside was the areas of the hotel under construction, Floors were not swept, Breakfast area floors were especially unkept. Breakfast area was very poorly designed, only one person at a time could access items.
We were so exhausted from caring for 4 children under six (1 week, 2, 4 and 6 years old) for 3 weeks that we appreciated the quick check in, comfortable bed and great night's rest. We appreciate that Best Western is making more of an effort to accommodate people who pursue gluten free eating.
This Best Western is actually at the base of the Grapevine and it is in an area with plenty of places to eat, fuel up and shop. It is priced right for an overnight stay after a long drive. Our room was clean and comfortable with the typical mid price room layout of the sink in the room with toilet and tub/shower by themselves. Staff was friendly and the pool and hot tub were clean. The limited breakfast options were not up to the standards we expect from Best Western.
Room was awesome, service was below par compared to the many best western hotels we have stayed . In addition, not being recognized for our level of dedication to best western...well could have checked into a Motel 6 and received the same and we shouldnt have
After deciding LA was too far , we stopped here. Breakfast tomorrow included. Very clean. Reception was nice. No reservation . Ok , we got 206, seems HDR except for the shower. Small refer, no water bottles in room. There's a microwave. Good stop.
Traveling I-5 after dark for 200 miles with the traffic the way it was, we were so relieved to see and exit with a BW and restaurants. Went to the hotel and it was comfortable and friendly. Check in was easy, room was comfortable and clean, all I ask. Walked over to a close restaurant and had a nice meal and good service. After the bad traffic we went through, scary, we were happy and relieved to find a nice clean place and the cost was what we expected. Felt safe.
We stayed in a "Physically Challenged Room" in late January, 2016. Room #206 I believe. I liked the shampoo-body gel-conditioner dispensers on the wall of the large shower which had a seat too. Room was clean and quiet since it faced away from I-5 and AC was also quiet. The pool was warm and clean and the usual BW breakfast setup fine although the eating area was small so we ate in our rooms. Dinner and margaritas at Mauricio's Grill & Cantina across the parking lot were very good and reasonable. Side note: because of traffic, the sidewalks along this retail strip are dangerous. But if you walk past the dumpster in the corner of the motel's parking lot, there is a path alongside the large Petro truck parking lot and beyond the lot there are miles of trails and ATV tracks good for jogging, biking or just taking the air on a nice walk.
The hotel was clean well lighter and close to gas and food. Rooms were roomy and comfortable. Hotel staff directed us to a location to eat and made sure we knew just how to get there. I would plan on staying there again next time we come up that way.
Loud. Built with cheap material and badly done. Light and sound pour in around the door. Just not what I have come to expect from a Best Western. Horrible!!! Horrible!!!! Horrible!!!! This might just be the worst hotel in the Best Western chain.
This is a good BW hotel, in a good location for those unwilling to make the drive up the Grapevine or up the 5 until the next day. BW's recent switch to Direct TV was a winner, with many channels available and a high quality picture.
Clean and comfortable for a one-night stay. No elevator, so if you have mobility challenges or a lot of luggage, request the first floor. The end rooms get more of the traffic noise. Breakfast not so great, but a fab restaurant next door!
In general we were grateful for a safe and clean place to spend the night. The things that would increase my rating for our stay would be: 1. The front desk was empty upon our arrival, and we waited for about 10 minutes or so before someone came to the desk. Would recommend staffing to be present when people enter. 2. Our heater was broken and we were cold. Personnel offered another room (without us asking), but then said in a hesitant tone, "the customer is always right" and conveyed that it would be an inconvenience to move us to a different room. We stayed in the cold room and he brought blankets. I'd recommend not using that phrase with a customer, as it puts the customer in an awkward position: Be a jerk and require a move to another room, or accept extra blankets and just deal with being cold upon exiting from shower, etc. 3. When I couldn't find the wifi info, the front desk personnel seemed to not want to give it to me over the phone. It seemed she wanted me to keep looking for it. Eventually I went downstairs and front desk personnel gave it to me there. I'd recommend that when a customer calls down for wifi info, that they are given the info via phone. An additional comment about something I would have recommended different is that we came down during breakfast hours and there were no more hot items (no eggs, sausage, etc). They were never replaced (we stayed until the end of breakfast). I would recommend having those foods available throughout the breakfast period, as it is something that we really enjoy when we come to Best Western (and one of the reasons we choose it when we travel). The front desk personnel very kindly offered to call a nearby restaurant and transfer them to my room so I could order, which saved me a long distance call. That was beyond the call of duty and I was grateful for her help. The beds were hard.
Good place to stay. Standard and very acceptable breakfast. Good value. Comfortable bed, good TV and internet. Clean and comfortable Has mini-fridge and microwave. Good hot water! No elevator, easy stairs.
Was a very nice hotel and I will look to stay there again when in that area. I will also recommend it to my friends and family. We all look for nice places to stay that are safe, clean and are reasonably priced.
This place is a great place for a stopover. It's located in the Tejon crossroad, just right outside the grapevine. There's an outlet mall across the freeway for some decent shopping. The room was pretty large. I guess it's meant for families to stay. The walls were a little thin, but sleep able. Wi-Fi is free, but a little slow. The TV channel selection is great. Full direct TV guide. The bathroom was pretty decent. One funny note, the toilet paper roller was more than arm length away from the toilet. Breakfast was better than most hotels. It had sausage and eggs, unlike most other places that offered free breakfast. Keep in mind that breakfast ends at 9 am. I came in at 9:05 am, but the waffle machine was already gone. At least the rest of the breakfast was still there.
Very convenient hotel off Highway 5 between Northern and Southern California. Starbucks and In and Out right on your doorstep as well as Breakfast in the morning included in hotel stay. Rooms were nice clean and roomy. Hotel Employee was nice enough to allow us access pool area even after our late arrival. Would stay here again if in the area.
We got in late, but our room was ready and easy to get to. The breakfast was adequate, would have like to have more choices of fresh fruit. The room was clean, it was quiet. The bed was a little hard, but the pillows helped. I would stay here again.
This place is just Ok for a night. The hotel is clean and rooms are spacious although the lay out of the bathroom leaves much to be desired. (the sink is outside of the bathroom) The bed I slept in was a hard as a rock, but overall the room is adequate. Breakfast however is lacking greatly. Breakfast is over at 9AM, and that is way too early. For the price paid, breakfast was not that great of a deal, given the meager options. I would give this hotel a solid C-, now for the most important question: Would I stay here again? probably not if I could find a similar hotel near by. But be assured that there is nothing majorly wrong with the hotel.
Great people working here, very helpful and friendly. Thoroughly answered all questions that my wife and I had. Place is very clean and comfortable. The proximity to outlet stores is great for those who wish to shop. Thank you, Allan
My room reeked of smoke despite being designated nonsmoking. They tried to cover it up w/ scented air freshener, but that just makes it stinky in two different ways. Also, the gal at the front desk could NOT have cared less about anything. Cold and unwelcoming, but I guess she felt like she didn't need to put in any effort given the location.
best indoor pool ever to relax and wind down after a long drive so amazing you have to experience to appreciate hot tub is great and food is right next door walking distance overall id recomend this to all who travel down south or up north great middle spot to stay at when traveling either way
Stayed here for one night and rooms were nice and clean. Nice hot breakfast. Staff was nice and comfortable beds.I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to south to southern California. Also, it's next to Tejon Ranch and the premium outlets. Lots of fast food restaurants and a few other restaurants around the area. Easy access to gas stations as well. Restaurants are within walking distance.
We left Orange County late and needed an overnight stop on our way to Santa Cruz. This looked like an okay place from past reviews. I made a reservation and decided to get a suite for just $12 more. I hoped there would be a divider in the room with a tv so one person could watch tv without keeping the other awake. Not so. Just one big room. What was really bad was the air conditioner. It had sheets of ice covering it but only about 15% air flow through the vent. Totally inadequate. It took over two hours to get some help. The guy threw water on the ice melting it. That fix lasted about an hour and no more cooling. The carpet was soaked from melting ice. You need ac in Lebec. Just a really bad night. They gave us a fan to use. Great 1950's technology. In fairness I will say the room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the room was quiet with the windows closed. The two employees I dealt with were very helpful as they could be. Especially the young women that checked us in.
Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in this area. We came down from Northern California for an event in Los Angeles and wanted to stay out of the area for a quick getaway in the morning. This fit the bill completely. Excellent front desk staff and a nice quiet night in a comfortable room made for a terrific experience.
Staff are very professional, pleasant ,personable and cheerful. Were able to answer all my questions about the area.Hotel is very clean and beds are very comfortable. Pool area very clean. Places to dine are in walking distance from hotel.
The room was great, the staff was great, they accepted pets. But when you walk your dogs, watch were you step, in the only patch of grass to walk the dogs, there was a 3 foot rattle snake. Be careful, and use a flash light at night. Other then that, NICE PLACE!!!
the hotel is very nice but the bathrooms are in need of a lot of things like a hook even to hang anything. breakfast wasn't that good and not much at all to pick from .the pastry was stale and the coffee needed to be put in the micro wave to get hot .the hotel was clean I can say that
The good: It has a pool and spa, both inside. The bad: The pool and spa are closed for a good part of the day and open only in the morning and evening, The good: What's offered at breakfast is decent. The bad: What's offered at breakfast isn't much. The good: Smallish motel with nice rooms. The bad: No elevator, so be prepared to carry that suitcase up a flight of stairs. The good: If you're luckier than me, you get a reward as a Best Western Rewards Member. The bad: It's popcorn and water. The good: Lebec is up the grapevine. The bad: Surprise! This is at the foot of the grapevine. But hey, you can hit the outlet mall on the other side of the freeway. The bonus: Try the Mexican restaurant in the parking lot. You won't regret it.
Room was clean with sufficient towels. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast left a little to be desired, but was as good as could be expected considering the price. We will definitely stay there again on our way to La Verne, Ca.
Thunder, lightning and flash flooding made our stay here memorable. But it was the power outage that made it an adventure. Julie, who checked us in about 10 minutes after the power went out, handled everything with aplomb. The hotel was a little hard to find since it is not where the signs say LEBEC, but other than that it was great!
