Resumen de la reserva
Hotel was really clean , maybe a little out dated with some of the designs but definitely not bad .Hotel staff really make the difference. They are fast, polite, and very accommodating .
Hotel was ez to find (off fwy) and check-in and check-out were handled fast and efficiently. Also has good views of Lake Elsinore and the Minor League Baseball Stadium.
Shower faucet did not work, towels not available, toilet paper spare missing, phone lights flashed all night & chair broken. After notifying staff of problems, I was told no washcloth was available at the hotel other than the one I was given, shower faucet cannot be fixed, phone cannot be fixed, another half roll of toilet paper was provided, Chair was replaced with another broken chair.
love it had really good experience staying here with the family, We were traveling for a soccer tournament and had a wonderful stay, we enjoyed the pool breakfast and very helpful staff.
I stayed a week with my son and grandson. The rooms are spacious and clean. The Internet worked for all three of us for the whole week. The breakfast was a great selection, fresh, delicious. The entire staff…housekeeping…breakfast staff and front desk all super friendly and helpful.
Overall a very nice hotel and room. Lots of conveniences in the room, although the heating unit in mine didn't work to well throughout the night. Very clean, lots of hangers, lots of towels, good smelling body wash and shampoo provided, bed was pretty comfortable, iron and board, fridge, microwave, ect. Pleasant stay for how ever many nights u may need.
Best Western Plus is a clean comfortable hotel in this area with many amenities including pool, internet and good breakfast. Many options for kinds of rooms. Attractive lobby , rooms and pool area. Staff friendly and available.
Easy access to I-15 & 215 (along Newport Rd), great staff who are helpful with a positive attitude. Good & well-stocked breakfast with eggs, meat, potatoes & usual variety of carbs. Great view of Lake Elsinore. Would stay again.
This hotel is so clean, and it has really nice recent updating. We had a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Breakfast was great, the employees were great and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel.
I spent the first part of my stay at Holiday Inn Express. I required a special accommodations room and my experience there was horrible. My experience at Best Western was amazing. When I come back I will always stay here.
Great very clean place with nice help. Would definitely stay here again in the future. Nice breakfast facility , nice pool and convenient location. I would definitely stay here again in the future when in town
Customer service at check in was exceptional. Small problem with the initial room was remedied by the front desk staff very efficiently. Good night's sleep after a long workday. Breakfast was fabulous. Will do a return stay if necessary.
Our room was locates on the second floor with a wonderful view of Lake Elsinore. The night that we stayed was Cinco De Mayo and while it wasn't put on by the Hotel we enjoyed a fireworks show while enjoying a glass of wine.
Overall room was clean. Parking was free and right in front of hotel entrance. It is a small lot but I don't imagine that this location needs a large parking lot throughout the year. Complimentary breakfast was good with lots of options.
Second mulit-day stay to visit family in the area. Nice rooms. Clean and comfortable. Good internet signal. Helpful staff. Breakfast was adequate with hot eggs and waffles and a variety of fruits and drinks.
My step best Western was good. It was a little pricey for an overnight stay, but absolutely worth it. The pool was nice and clean and I had a good nights rest. They offered breakfast, which I was not able to eat because I had to leave at 6:30 in the morning and breakfast is served at seven which sucks, but I'm glad that if I didn't have to wake up so early it would be there. My room was clean. The only thing that I will say that I did not like was there were hairs on the bathroom shower wall that did not belong to me. I'm really grossed out by wet hair so that was a negative other than that I would definitely recommend and stay again.
Very clean, friendly staff, Liked having a hot breakfast although it was the same every day. AC unit was inefficient for the way the room was set up. Would stay there again if I could get a room with better AC circulation. It worked better the last of 4 nights when we put our boogie boards next to unit to push air upwards so air circulated. Wish we would have done that the first 3 nights!
Family trip : -Pro: Location (I was on my way to Ontario) Free continental breakfast Clean and comfortable room Several dining options around Opportunity area: The lake is barely visible from this location The neighborhood looks not so safe for a night walk
It would have been nice to have uce machine on the floor I was on. Also would have been nice to have more hot options at breakfast & to have been able to serve myself. Someone was serving. Overall fairly nice hotel & very friendly staff.
This hotel exceeded my expectations. It seems like it's a newer hotel. The beds were comfy and the pillows were nice and fluffy. I appreciated that we got 4 each. The pool was nice and clean. The staff was super helpful and cheery. I would definitely stay at the hotel again.
went away for business. Slept in room 113 July 24-25, 2022. The next morning woke up with over 57 bites and took a bug in a cup to the front deck who immediately changed the room to 223 (stay away from that room too now!) they gave money to wash clothes but refused to refund stay. I called to discuss this and Avi refused to let me speak to a manager and wouldn't speak to me at all, only stated the issue was resolved (which it's NOT, they still have bed bugs and still have $300+ in items we have to throw away, a dr bill tomorrow to urgent care because these bites are inflamed and pussing, a hotel bill not refunded and the embarrassment of going to a work event with a swollen eye and bug bitten face…). I was spoken to rudely and hung up on when I inquired about hotel reimbursement and an investigation report. was supposed to get a call at 7 am this morning from a manager and that call never came. I'm not saying don't stay there, but I am saying, LEAVE ALL YOUR LUGGAGE in the bathroom until you verify bed bugs aren't in your room…
only negative, was with the jacuzzi. After getting 2 new keys with neither working to open gate to pool or allow entrance back in to hotel and crawling under a gate to get back in, did the nice attendant come out to confirm keys didn't work and after working his a few times it opened. Ok, ready for much needed spa after driving and poker. Jacuzzi was cold, Ugh. I would still stay again, probably the nicest rooms and best staff of any BW we have stayed.
Staff professional and kind. Rooms clean and modern. Pool very nice. Breakfast food was very good and hot, many things to choose from.. It is a must stay when your in that area the best hotel around there!
The hotel is clean and good service, the a/c fan stayed on all night long, little hard to fall asleep while running. The room and service are very good, but the room is a little dated. The bed was comfortable.
My stay seamed uneventful until I noticed a mischarge on my bill. The desk clerk told me it would be removed and even signed my bill stating it would be removed. It didn't happen and now I fighting with Best Western to get my credit. I have submitted a fraudulent charge with AMEX and they are helping me. Why couldn't they credit my account at checkout. Seams so simple, but it has become so frustrating. I cannot recommend this facility.
I stayed for 3 nights and the hotel was nice, staff were friendly. However when I left I was covered in bites. I believe the hotel has bed bugs at least in room 205. Beware. When I called to alert the hotel staff they just made excuses and seemed to discount everything I said.
Asked for late checkout after late night out at a casino and was told no! No late checkouts.i feel guests should be given 1/2 hour late checkout n after that a resonable fee per hour. Should be offered
Terrible management, will never stay here again. Rude and aggressive front desk. If you get lucky and there are no issues, you might be ok, otherwise you are in for a hard time. In my case they did not have tokens/quarters for the washing machines, told me they couldn't help and for me to somehow get them outside. I had checked this feature of the hotel and called when I booked since I am on a family stay, in from Asia where I work, have 3 small children with me. The front desk man got angry at me, said I had attitude when I was persistent at questioning the policy and showed disappointment; even threatened to call the police and kick me out? Really? Totally uncalled for and unprofessional. I called the national customer service # which was of little to no help. Never heard from the hotel manager, even though I am a " Gold BW member". I travel and work internationally, work in a senior management position, so I have a lot to base my opinion on. I would strongly recommend to consider the Holiday Inn Express across the way and stay clear of this place.
Reserved months is advance for 7 night stay. We were told on check in that even though we had booked directed with Best Western, and called to confirm, ADA rooms were only a request, not guaranteed. Staff was not helpful and basically said So do you want to check in or go someplace else. It was over Christmas so we stayed but very disappointed with Best Western.
The hotel is not bad but the check in experience leaves a lot to be desired, the manager was in the back room and when I walked up to the window , there was a sign that said...please wait as we are helping another customer. Where ? In the office where she finally popped out of? They put a hold on your credit card of $250 of which she said it would take 2 days to return....? If it's a hold why would it take 2 days to return? Are they going to give me interest on that? The manager (tanisha) was rude and did NOT give me directions to my room untill I asked her. We hope the rest of the stay is uneventful...but I will not stay at a bw again. I generally have never had rudeness from anyone at Marriott or Hilton.
We love the Jacuzzi tub room and use the rub every time. Having a patio door to the pool and grass area is the other reason we choose BW. The staff is always friendly, there are many restaurants near by and a small casino.
The hotel is worth what you pay. The beds are comfy and the rooms are spacious. We booked a king bed with pull out couch. You still have to reserve to be able to use the pool but the view is great. There is a balcony in which you are able to overlook the Lake and the baseball stadium. Fast food restaurants are at a five minute walk, casino is 3 min walk, and all other stores and fast food restaurants are at a 5 min driving distance. Its perfectly located. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Easy to get to; good restaurants near by; a pleasant place to stay. The room was very good, clean and comfortable and everything worked. Our only complaint would be the sad example of a breakfast. The info on the Web Page should mention that 'no real breakfast is being served'! Handing one a Danish in an envelope which has to be carried back to the room is not a breakfast. We will be very cautious in booking with BW in the future. RDM
We got the king jacuzzi room and it was nice but the bathroom tub was clogged when we arrived and wish they would had a better breakfast menu cause we got sick of eating the same thing And housekeeping was late doing our room cause we were gone for over 4 hours just for the to half do our room than they come back hours later when we are inside the room to start cleaning it and I was very upset with that
We stayed at the Best Western Plus in Lake Elsinore in May 2021 for two nights. Our first night was uneventful (great!) while during our second night we were woken up at 1am by what sounded like a near riot above us (imagine bowling balls being constantly dropped and people screaming). We contacted the front desk who said they'd look into it. After 45 minutes, the blaring sound continued so we called the front desk, who indicated they (and security) had initially issued a warning to another room for loud noise and would go back to investigate. The sound continued for another 45 minutes- we were up for 1.5 hours in the middle of the night and had a rough following day due to the lack of sleep. When we checked out, I inquired about the sound and the front desk person said the manager would give me a call to discuss in more detail, including any compensation for a poor experience (we get that parties/loud noises happen and just wanted to learn more). The manager never called. I eventually called the Best Western back and spoke with the manager who was incredibly rude, claiming that the sound couldn't have occurred because there was a storage room directly above our room. Instead of being empathetic or trying to help remedy the situation (e.g. apology, any financial reimbursement, etc.), the manager became incredibly defensive, gas lighting me into thinking that this sound couldn't have occurred, and indicating that he definitely wouldn't provide any reimbursement or assistance. We eventually called corporate Best Western who apologized profusely for this incredibly unprofessional behavior and offered a voucher for a future stay. At this point, I wasn't interested in the financial compensation but just wanted to help improve the management and customer service at Best Western because this was the worst customer service I've ever experienced, especially in the hospitality industry. I highly recommend against staying at this specific hotel, as I've have good experiences at other Best Western hotels.
I have decided to take a trip for my birthday and anniversary celebration that lasted for over a week traveling from the Oregon border to the Tijuana border. If I would've known what a wonderful stay I would have had at best Western Lake Elsinore, I would have tried to book best western throughout my entire trip! I could not believe how comfortable the beds and pillows were, how clean the rooms were, and that they even had wonderful grab and go breakfast as well as fresh coffee made in the downstairs lobby or available in our rooms! What an incredible value for the price!! I would definitely recommend specifically this best Western in Lake Elsinore but also to look into other best westerns as well if this is the standard. The staff was friendly and greeted me warmly and I am especially impressed with how comfortable the beds and pillows were. I keep repeating that because I am a person with disabilities and so it's very difficult for me to stay in beds that are not my own. I slept like a baby this night and could not believe that check out was at noon instead of the majority standard of 11! I can't say enough good things about this hotel stay and because I was specifically visiting family nearby I absolutely intend to stay here in the future.
Nice view of mountains and lake is only from 1 side of hotel The Windows were dirty which ruined the view Request the highest floor for best view toward mountain and lake Convenient location made it easy to go to restaurants
If you don't want to sleep this is the place for you. Upstairs neighbors seemed to let a toddler run around all night with a bowling ball. Jacuzzi tub was not very clean jets are not adjustable and tub does not fit 2 people comfortably.
Such a positive experience! Clean, quiet, great location. Staff was wonderful. The inside was beautifully decorated and the room was spacious. I had a king bed with a sofa. I was visiting a friend and he was less than 5 miles away so perfect.
Stayed 5 nights. Hotel was clean and bed comfortable, but didnt get any sleep. Guests coming in at 1am shouting. Kids downstairs running around at midnight. Traffic and sirens. Obviously the walls are thin! They removed all drapes and only have Plantation shutters so the light beams in all night. For breakfast you get a brown bag with yogurt, a muffin, apple and a warm bottle of water. You can get a Jimmy Dean sandwich or a packaged waffle with no syrup. Spending $600 for this wasnt worth it. We won't be staying here again.
I woke up to a roach crawling on me in bed! I'm 9 months pregnant and coming from Northern California. I wasn't given a new room because every room was booked the two other nights I asked for a different place to stay. I was out almost $1,000 and had no other choice but to sleep there being out so much money and not having anywhere else to stay. I told a staff member why I needed to switch rooms and it was brushed off like it wasn't a big deal there were bugs. Also finding parking some nights was difficult. Too many vehicles with people taking up two spots for their one car or tow trucks parking in the lot leaving no space.
Best Western Plus Lake Elsinore Inn & Suites is a nice, cozy place to rest and take some time to unwind from our normal, hectic lifestyles. the experience was nice, but there's a lot to improve on. you can do.
It was fine, Best Western use to have great breakfasts - now it is a bottle of water, a tiny apple and a squished up vending machine type pastry. Yuck. The room/hotel was clean, the view nice, the air conditioner/fan woke us up every hour.
Awful & too expensive. The place is totally SHABBY- worn carpet, room numbers on masking tape, unadorned rooms, ugly “wood” paneling, faint cigarette smell! Huge bucket in hallway outside our room because of a ceiling leak! I gather they're under renovation but price should reflect that. All for $140 per night! Never again.
My experience here went horrible, front desk was rude trying to rush you in and out. The lobby and hallways were about 100 degrees inside while outside was a cooling 72. I do not recommend getting the jetted jacuzzi room. It's not worth the price. My spouse and I stayed in there and to begin with the jets did not work properly, the jets were shooting out the tub like if they were water holes shooting 10 feet far. Plus the tub is very small. The tv only had 1 channel and the remote didn't even work. In the middle of the night you can hear everyone's foot steps from above. I didn't even sleep right because the ac unit in the room was making a loud noise that wouldn't stop despite me plugging it off. I totally do not recommend that room nor this hotel. Way too expensive for the type of environment/sleeping area. I was probably better off sleeping in our cars then here, take that into consideration.
As of 3/24/20, this motel stopped serving the "FULL BREAKFAST" and replaced it with "GRAB-AND-GO" breakfast. This motel is lying because their website still says "FULL BREAKFAST". I don't understand how "GRAB-AND-GO" helps the COVID-19 crisis, instead of the FULL BREAKFAST. The motel makes money charging for full price while saving money by serving .50 cent "GRAB-AND-GO" instead of the $5 FULL BREAKFAST.
My wife and I come every year from Las Vegas to do our Taxxes and we always stay at the Best Western in Lake Elsinore the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. There is no other place we would stay.
Stayed only one night. Breakfast was above good. Omelette was excellent and the protein was pork sausages. Don't see these often nowadays unfortunately. The parking lot was somewhat dirty with some trash not attended to even on the second day. Kind of the whole area around the hotel probably isn't too spotless so to speak. It;s a pity because from above, overlooking from the Ortega Highway the entire town of Lake Elsinore looks like a little paradise picture perfect Toscany Italy-look alike location. The reception staff wasn't too happy to see us. We're used to that though from smaller hotels in smaller towns, after all we are foreigners who aren't crazy rich.
We stay at this best western alot. The associates treat us very good. We have no complaints and are happy with the hotel and staff. I also like the rewards that you offer when you stay. We like it when we have points to use for the room.
Suppose to be non-smoking hotel. Unfortunately, halls and public area smells like weed and dog poop. Also, the smoke from the smoking area or people smoking close to the front door also gets inside the hotel. Only 3 towels for 4 people in a 2-queen room. Dogs are roaming around without a lease in full view of the front desk.
Looking for a hotel close to where my brother lives. We found this hotel and to our surprise it was a wonderful and close to his location. Close by are shopping center with anything you can image but you will need to drive a short distance. It is right off the highway and the scenery around the hotel was great. The breakfast was free everyday and it was great. The staff was great and was eager to please something that I look for as I am in the industry. We arrived Thursday evening after fighting traffic called the hotel and informed them we were running late and she was understanding out room was ready upon arrival. They were helpful with the knowledge of the area. It is close to Tecmecila Valley and old town. When I go back to visit him again I plan on staying at this location perfect with things to do close by and family only 15 minutes away.
Stayed only one night (11/12/2019) in king room (323). Had a corner room on west side, with nice view over the lake and to the hills. Could sleep with window open-a big plus for us. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable and shower good. Breakfast was fine and could be taken on the patio. Would definitely stay again and can recommend the hotel.
We really enjoyed our three-night stay at the Lake Elsinore Best Western Plus. The location was perfect for side trips to San Bernardino/Riverside, Temecula, San Juan Capistrano, etc. And Lake Elsinore itself is great. Breakfast was simple, yet tasty and plentiful. It was nice to rest by the pool in our "free time." Another plus: good restaurants right across the street -- no drive required!
Hotel was located with a view of Lake Elsinore and was clean and rooms were good. Breakfast was acceptable and selection met the standards. Lobby and breakfast area was well setup. Nice location with stores close by.
Centrally located close to everything. Very clean and spacious room. The swimming pool is a bit small and plain but otherwise okay. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Definitely worth your money.
Carpets need cleaning or replacing. Ripped upholstery on the couch. Breakfast was good, broken leaky ice bucket. Poor service. And this review requires at least 200 characters minimum!so I'll go on. The parking nearest to our room was blocked off. The breakfast was good. Just. It up to Best Westerns usual standards.
I stay close to 130 night a year in a hotel for business, usually 4 and 5 star hotels. We were looking for a hotel close to the kids to see our new Granddaughter and tried the Best Western. What a pleasant surprise, from the lobby to the rooms, everything was very clean and maintained .The front desk staff was personable and accommodating. We will definitely stay there again.
I needed a place to stay near Wildomar CA. I decided to stay in Lake Elsinore at the Best Western. It was a comfortable hotel with friendly professional staff. My room had a patio, and was close to a small pool with a Jacuzzi. Perfect for relaxing after a long drive. They had a good free breakfast with lots of choices. There were hot choices, oatmeal, waffles, and lots more. Good place to stay if your in the area.
We have been staying here for 9 years and come back every year . Rooms are comfortable along with the beds . They have made many changes over the years to make your stay better . The staff has been there along time and are top notch .
We have stayed at this same location before and liked it well enough to return. It is kind of centrally located to where we needed to be. The room were large, clean & we found the beds to be extremely comfortable. The staff was very nice, smuled, friendly, don't think we saw anyone who seemed like they were not willing to help. If we are in the area again, we will be sure to stay.
I'm always worried when booking a hotel in an area that I've never stayed in but we lucked out with this one. The pool area was great. We had a room that had a door that opened out to the back area and pool. If we come to Lake Elsinore again we will definitely stay here again.
My family has stayed at this hotel many, many times over the years. It is clean, reasonably priced and centrally located. The only problem i have encountered is a staff member named Lexis (Alexis, maybe?)..I needed to extend my stay for one extra night as my child had a medical emergency (i relayed this on the call), so i called the hotel and asked to book an additional night. I was told that i had to wait until morning and ask someone else, ok??? I left it at that and when i returned to the hotel i went to the desk and asked why i couldn't book another night if there was availability (because it just seemed bizarre). She says "I already told you it's policy, we can't extend your room until morning!" I said i wouldn't mind changing rooms, as it is imperative i book another night. She still refuses to book me, so i said "you'd think you'd want the business". That's when she proceeds to tell me 'We don't want, nor do we need your business" Wow!!! She then threatened to call the police and have me removed from the hotel with my children at 10:30 at night! I truly hope to never see her behind that desk again.
The wife and I decided to travel for a month. Visiting family in several states and cities. We find BW to be one of the best deals foe us. As both of us are somewhat disabled, we get ADA compliant rooms. In Lake Elsinore we started in a mobility room, but Alexis moved us to an ADA room. Great service.
Stayed here for a 1 night trip. All the staff are great! Room was very clean as was the rest of the property. If you stay in Lake Elsinore, you should really stay here as the view is AWESOME, property seemed very safe and secure. I stayed in a corner king bed room and the view just outstanding. I even had my car detailed at the car wash across the street during my stay. Breakfast was much better than expected. Pool and spa were a super plus too. I would not think twice about staying here again!
I don't have 200 words to share but.... The BWP Lake Elsinore is a great hotel! As we got into our room, we had to pull up chairs to the window (that really opened for fresh air) to watch the fireworks that were going on outside! So fun! Breakfast good! Bed the best!
Stayed overnight for a softball camp. Tried to check in at 2:30 with not a soul in the parking lot, but our room wasn't ready. Came back at 3:15 to check in, our room wasn't ready, so was given a different room. The lobby was nice but hot. very little air conditioning - only a wall unit. Went down to the gym where there were no towels or water on a day that was 100+. Our room was hot as well and had that smell of a room that had previously been a smoking room, but was now non-smoking. Then took a shower to find that my towel had mascara stains on it. When I went to go to bed there was a dime sized hole in the sheet. Woke up at 2am with a massive asthma attack. Not staying again.
Needed a place to sleep while on the road. I called and front desk agent said he had no rooms. 16 rooms were showing on booking.com He was very rude. Next morning I complained to staff about my check in experience. They were also rude and pretty much said too bad.
A descent hotel with a gym , swimming pool, well equipped rooms & sumptuous breakfast included is a great space to rest after a long day out. Relaxing beds with tub facility relaxes the body and rejeuvinates you.
I had booked a room with 2 queen beds and a sofa sleeper. The gal upon check-in put us in a room without a sofa sleeper. When I returned to the front desk, she then took me down the hall to a handicap room that had a sofa sleeper and asked if I would be okay to staying in that particular room. I told her it would be fine. When we got back to the front desk she told me that the room was not available for my entire stay so she could not put me in the room she had just shown me. After waiting several minutes while she checked others into their rooms who had arrived after us, she finally found a room with two queen beds and a sofa sleeper. The sofa sleeper was almost impossible to pull out and the mattress had seen better days. Honestly would have been better to make the couch up and sleep there vs. the sleeper mattress. There were no linens in the room for the sofa sleeper. We had to return to the front desk to get the linens. There were body wash and shampoo dispensers in the shower that were empty. Management either needs to remove them or inform guests that they need to use the toiletries on the sink countertop. I found this out the hard way. Towels are very worn, did not match and there were not enough in our room (3). We had to request and visit the front desk to pick them up for more bath towels each day. Very disappointed with our stay.
If you have plans in the Lake Elsinore area, this is the only hotel I would recommend. Its safe, clean, friendly staff, and you have a nice selection of restaurants in a 5 min walk. The pool was clean and ample parking.
Great clean Hotel, popcorn in the lobby at night., great views of the lake, fantastic food nearby, rooms newly remodeled clean and fresh, parking adequate for larger vehicles, great location to the freeway on-ramps and off-ramps, highly recommend the place
It was a very nice experience. The room was very clean and comfortable. I felt the price was very reasonable and will always stay at this hotel when traveling in the area. The hotel was every bit as nice and comfortable as the the Hilton I stay at in Phoenix last November.
Hotel is clean staff is friendly breakfast and WiFi included and free parking. Property well maintained landscape beautifully manicured. Nice swimming pool/jacuzzi overlooking the mountains and the lake. Ask for a room on that side.
I have stayed there a couple of times already and I will continue to stay there whenever I come visit Lake Elsinore The rooms are clean the staff is very polite and good breakfast too. Keep up the good work your loyal guest C. Varela
Convenient location & clean but the worst maid service ever! Didn't replace cups or linens & never emptied the ice bucket or gave us a clean liner. Staying here for 7 nights & this is our 5th night & each time we return for the evening we need to go to the front desk to complain. The phones are messed up, too, as is the TV cable service. Would not recommend this hotel!
I'm a photographer and wanted to share the beauty of the Walker Canyon wildflowers but due to traffic and other issues I didn't have the chance. What I did have was a quiet, clean, and nicely arranged room. The bed was super comfy, the wi-fi was fast, the front desk peeps friendly while doing there job. The location is nice: right off the freeway and plenty of food in the neighborhood. I would definitely stay there again if in the area and as a side note: I enjoyed the hotel so much I signed up for BW points so I can start getting a free night every now and then!
very welcoming, well managed, friendly service, good location off the highway yet quiet, safe , very clean and comfortable. good sleep , large breakfast area, sunny appealing pool area. attractive lobby
Was here on business with 10 others. We had rooms spread across the floors and levels, and we all had the same, good experience. The hotel is clean and well lit, seems to have good security, close to a casino. The staff was very helpful, making sure that my group had everything that they needed to have a good stay. They were helpful with directions for getting around ,and for helping us find places to eat at night upon our return. The breakfast was good, hot and refilled constantly so that you did not run out of anything they offered. They had the hot breakfast waffle maker, eggs of some type, potatoes, and meat. Cold items included fruit, yogurt, cereal, juices and milk, in addition to the hot beverages normal to breakfast. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We all got a good nights rest, no matter if we were on the ground floor or the third floor, the front of the hotel or the backside. Everyone in our party reported having a good nights sleep in preparation for the next day's events. We will definitely look at staying here again when we are in the area.
We were a bit scared staying here at first. We were chatting with some retired locals we met in a nearby restaurant (10 miles away) - they were telling us about how rough Lake Elsinore is, with shootings and gang activity - it scared the heck out of my wife. Upon getting to the hotel, though, it seems nice and we had next to zero problems. We were given a pool side room, and it had doors on both sides of the room. One to the hallway - one to the pool patio. It was very nice for when my boys and I hopped out for a dip in the hot tub at night. Breakfast was very good, with lots of hot food to choose from. It was always warm and well stocked. Biggest problem would have to be smell of marijuana in the property. The problem is, though, I think the pot smell was coming from the front desk clerk, as the smell followed him in from going outside. Granted, these laws on pot are changing, but it's still not the odor you want to be greeted with at the front desk with your kids. Other than that, it was nice. I'd consider a return visit. Backyard view is pretty, too! I travel extensively for my work, and provide reviews for EVERY hotel I stay at - both good and bad. I use TripAdvisor quite often in my bookings of hotels, and reviewing is a great way to give back to the TripAdvisor community. I give honest and frank reviews.
Best motel experience that I have ever stayed in. Kudos to all. I will definitely return to this fine establishment.. We were traveling on bikes and we were welcomed . Easy access to food beautiful scenery.
We stayed three nights as were were visiting relatives in the area. The accommodations were great! The bed was comfortable, very quiet, and the breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and knowledgable. We will return!
Went down for a church conference check in on Saturday checked out on a Thursday. The guest services were awesome they Imediately check us into a Room we even had an option, what floor we'd prefer. We requested for extras amenities they were swift to provide, the hotel's cleanliness and the housekeeping was great. The breakfast is perfect something for everyone even the picky eaters. There is a Walmart and dollar tree nearby and restaurants. Walgreens for pharmacy needs.
Location & Hotel Room itself was good, the Hotel Staff (2 Individuals in particular) definitely need work on their customer service skills and I've noticed this seems to be the norm because through reading reviews at the Best Western Corona ,California location the customer service skill need work as well there.
My family had a terrible experience at this hotel. One of our neighbors played loud music at night. We reported it and it was taken care of. Then we were woken up by the smell of marijuana early in the morning. We had to leave earlier than anticipated because of this. My children have asthma so they were coughing up a storm. The sheets had dried blood and they smelled of urine. We decided to try the breakfast and we feel as though we were singled out by the hotel staff because they thought we were a random family trying to eat breakfast for free. One of the staff members came into the breakfast area to verify our last names and room numbers IN FRONT OF EVERYONE. This was not done to anyone else. It was very embarrassing. We brought this up when checking out and the staff was very rude and said she did not single us out.
The Best Western Plus in Lake Elsinore is a nice, clean hotel. Friendly staff. Good, hot breakfast with enough variety to please everyone. Comfortable beds. We recommend a room facing the back, less freeway noise.
Our room was large with a desk and side chair. In room coffee was delicious .Very quiet. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of room in breakfast area when we went down. The hotel was.full on Thanksgiving night.
This hotel is very clean and the rooms are spacious and comfortable plenty of hot Water the only problem was low pressure in the shower beside that every thing else was very comfortable and a bonus is it has a refrigerator
I was visiting my son in Menifee and this was one of the closest decent hotels. I was able to book it on their website with variable rates (higher on the weekend) so 5 nights averaged out to $100 a night. , including tax.breakfast was free and the rooms were clean.Housekeeping staff was outstanding. Lots of restaurants close by. I would book here again.
Breakfast was amazing, even the kids loved it. The pool and patio was relaxing. The room was clean and spacious, beds were great. Loved staying here!! Hotel is located with many food and shopping options near by.
They have a fitness center that clearly says 24 hours on their website. I approached the front desk person LouAnne, who did not smile by the way. When I smiled at her and said hi, she literally had a straight face, so I reciprocated immediately the same reaction because of the vibe I picked up from her quickly. I said my key is not working to open the fitness center door, and she said it doesn't open until 7am. So I stepped away for a brief moment because I was disappointed because I woke up early to workout, so I went back and addressed to LouAnne for the second time, and suggested they should update their website to have the correct hours and not 24 hours. I tried again at 7am, even a couple minutes after, and the door still wouldn't open. I approached LouAnne again for the 3rd time, which was about this time when I asked her name to address the fitness center is still locked, and she said it opens at 8am not 7am, which she confirmed supposedly to her co-worker. Really?...She apologized, but it didn't appear to be a genuine apology (she apologized because I asked for her name). I had access the day before because it was left open all day, not a problem of course, but to experience the following day with a front desk person LouAnne and communication with her, she was not friendly at all. I asked her iif she is the manager, she replied no, to which she also had no idea when the manager of the hotel was going to be available as well. I hope the manager of this hotel will read my review, and hope she does not treat other hotel guest they way she treated me.
Great motel. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Breakfast was fantastic. The staff made sure it was fresh and always filled up. The rooms were nice sized and clean. Plenty 8f dining area and also tables set up outside 9n covered p OP rich. Has an out as ide swimming pool, exercise room, and laundry faciloties.
Great breakfast menu; asked for handicap room, but shower and stool were not handicap friendly; cost of room was way too high; we were able to cancel one room though and thank goodness they didn't charge us for that.
I appreciated the reasonable rate for this hotel on a last minute reservation. The clerk working the front counter was very nice and helpful at check in. Only problem was the fold out bed was dirty and had crumbs and a watch and makeup kit in the bed as we unfolded it. Obviously it had not been cleaned or used in a while. The breakfast was good and well stocked. The checkout was supper fast and the clerk was helpful.
We stayed at this hotel for 7 days for some R&R, which also included the high school graduation of a relative. We are happy to say our overall experience was extremely pleasant and comfortable. We picked this location mainly because it was close to our relatives who live in Canyon Lake, California. We were given a corner room on the 3rd floor overlooking the valley and Lake Elsinore. The room was bright, quiet, and very comfortable. We went down to the complimentary breakfast every morning and found a variety of hot choices such as eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, or waffles. The lady in charge of the breakfast space kept everything very clean and replenished. We took our breakfast out on the patio overlooking the pool. A very nice quiet alternative to the sometimes-crowded breakfast room. There are many good places to eat close by, and we enjoyed the casino (we actually won) just below the hotel. It had great food. We would stay at this Best Western hotel again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting this area.
I have always liked Best Western Hotels and this one did not disappoint. Ari (desk clerk) checked us in early which was very nice. Ari was pleasant and welcomed us. We had a lovely room with a view of the lake and it was very quiet. This was a suite with a couch, coffee table and desk. There was, also, a small frig, microwave and coffee maker. Everything was very clean and tidy. Now for the breakfast which is included in the price of the room. Waffles, toast, bagels, cereal, yogurt, eggs, sausage, fruit juices, coffee and all sorts of fruit. AND no I did not eat all of it but I love their waffles....and their eggs....OK...and the juice with some yogurt. There was seating inside as well as on the patio. This was really a great place to stay. Two minutes off the freeway and the Casino is nearby.
We stayed 3 nights at the end of a long USA road trip and enjoyed every minute. Guy at reception upgraded us to bigger room with big T.V. Fridge, Microwave, Sofa. Wi-Fi wouldn't work on google. Bath /Shower and air con, really nice staff, a credit to the Hotel, especially the guy on reception who was very funny as well as being super efficient. Outside pool and Jacuzzi in nice grounds.Recommended.
Fairly new decor with decent breakfast choices - great value for the price. Location is nice, close to freeway [15 and 215 with access north and south - or hwy 74 east and west] - but not TOO close to the freeway - was not bothered by highway noise.
If you like easy access to outside, request a ground floor room. They feature an outside door to the pool, or should you like to smoke, or just to take in the view of the lake. No need to take the elevator. Very nice property overall.
A fine place to spend the evening. Great and comfortable room. The staff was fine and professional . The breakfast was good. The location was easily reached from local freeways. I would stay here again.
The rooms are a good size and very clean. The hotel is in a fairly quiet location off the highway. They have a great breakfast with waffles, eggs, home style potatoes, yogurt, juices and coffee! I have stayed here several times before. The staff is nice and polite. They offer free USA today and the Wall Street Journal.
We checked in late at night , the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Our room was clean, beds were comfortable and our breakfast the next morning was great. Got to say I loved the staff in dining area and front desk! What a nice visit.
spacious rooms, clean, good TV and internet, lovely decor and friendly staff , better than standard hotel breakfast, pool is clean and inviting, responsive staff. lovely lobby , fitness center adequate,
The accommodations were very satisfactory! Rooms are comfortable and clean, the view from our room was beautiful. Staff very friendly and helpful! Breakfast was very tasty and nice selection. Easy access to highway.
The hotel staff was very friendly, helpful and courteous. The room was spacious & clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast offers many items to include eggs, bacon, muffins, breads, yogurt, fruits and pastries. It is located near interstate 15, making an easy off - easy on experience.
It was clean and comfortable, breakfast was warm and tasty, staff was friendly. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were quit. It was close to freeways, but never heard the freeway noise, and it was central to the places we wanted to go to, such as Knott's, Hemet, Mission at San Juan Capistrano, and Dana Point. Staff were very helpful, and the TV was large and clear.
Stayed here 3 years ago and was very impressed with the quality for the price. Returned and found it met our highest expectations. The price is hard to beat, esp. at this level of quality. We stay with BW on our travels in U.S./Canada and this property is excellent.
I was having a Christmas Celebration at a home I have in Lake Elsinore. I primarily live in Los Angeles but I used the Elsinore house for the party. All of the guest (FAMILY & FRIENDS) were coming from out of town to Elsinore and I didn't want them to drive back home on Christmas Day evening. So I ordered/paid for rooms for them to stay overnight at Best Western Plus Lake Elsinore Inn & Suites, Lake Elsinore, California. I had used this Inn before a few years back for another party where the guest were coming from out of town and state. It was a successful experience OVERALL just as it was this time. Thank You Best Western Plus Lake Elsinore Inn & Suites, Lake Elsinore, California. I will undoubtedly use you again.
Very clean, comfortable and relaxing and near our event. The rooms were large enough and able to use internet services without a problem. Bathroom is large enough to move around in and very clean. The coffee maker, microwave and frig came in handy also.
I rented two rooms for each of 3 nights. At checkout I was presented a bill for only one of the rooms. When I inquired, the hotel clerk said that someone else had offered to pick up the tab, but was not sure for how many rooms or for how many nights. I asked who had made the offer, and they would not tell me. I assume it was the company that hosted our visit, but I did not know what the offer was or even who to thank, and so I paid the entire bill myself. I have no way of knowing if the company was charged or not and so the room(s) may have been paid twice, and they may be expecting a thank you which I am not able to provide since I don't know who it was. The hotel clerk said that the offer had come in before he came on duty. He took no special steps to see that the problem was resolved. I am very disappointed in the Best Western.
Better of the hotel few ,choices for Lake Elsinor CA easy freeway 15 access, short drive to San Diego or Riverside about 1 hour , quiet even with closeness to freways. Location to decent erestaurants is poor.
Front desk said despite signing a no pet policy, they can't ask if dogs are service animals. Woman had two small dogs in elevator. Smell and dander still there after I had to wait for an empty elevator. I'm allergic. A day later my head is still stuffed up. Hotel policy handcuffs the staff. Those were NOT service animals. I've stayed here dozens of times and typically enjoy this property. Definitely best hotel in Lake Elsinore. Staff is friendly and rooms are large and comfortable. Internet is great in most rooms, but depending on location, can be bad — real bad. They need more Wi-Fi hot spots throughout the hotel so all rooms have equal Wi-Fi strength. Beware of being assigned an ADA room. Horrible! No counter space and shower head doesn't point downward. What a miserable experience. The other rooms are fine. Typically, I'd rate this place higher, but my last stay was in an ADA room and that dog policy could keep me away, if I continue to encounter dogs. (Previous stay had a dog yapping all night long in a room down the hall.) I'd recommend this place and will come again. I'm just hoping there aren't animals and I'll be sure to at least ask to change rooms if assigned that disabilities room again.
The hotel staff met all of my needs. The hotel itself on the other hand was a bit different. The carpet was so dirty that my feet were black. This then brought me to get sores in my mouth from the bad air. I noticed that the walls were so thin that I could hear every TV, voice, and step around me. Overall the rooms need work. The décor was two decades behind the times. The staff was as help as it could get. The location was pretty convenient too.
Stayed here before interior and exterior very clean for some reason they gave me a handicap room that I did not ask for the room was clean except the carpet need to be vacuumed the bath room was gross the holiest needed to be clean found hair on the floor found a piece of used bar of soap in the shower don't know how all of that was missed
DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL ON-LINE! Researched and booked this hotel with outside booking agency far in advance and received written confirmation. Drove five hours in holiday traffic with two small children only to be told the hotel was full and my booking reservation would not be honored. Front desk said I was the second person today turned away in the same situation. I understand technical errors happen, but the front desk's response lacked any customer service or human kindness. Fortunately, I was able to find a room down the street at the Quality Inn where the front desk employee went above and beyond to accommodate us. Needless to say I will never stay in that or any Best Western again and will advise all my families and friends against it as well.
Within last 36 months, I have spent at least 24 nights here at all different seasons just because its comfort, service and quality. Rooms are large, bathrooms are large, hallways and common areas nicely decorated and in another word it is a "Boutique Style Hotel". Definetly closest to home comfort.
My wife and myself were in town for three days for family business, and we stayed at our favorite hotel. As usual, every thing was just great. Good food, professional staff and a quiet and peaceful nights rest, and we can't wait to our next stay.
The best western is a nice hotel, very clean, friendly, staff good price, great location for us. we visited with family, and this hotel was close to them and we liked the area very much. WE had no complaints we were here for two nights. did not get a chance to use the pool, but the pool area also looked great.
We had a room near the front of the hotel so noise from the street (lots of motorcycles racing down street while we were there) was loud at times. Room itself was comfortable and large but decor dark and dated. Breakfast was the standard hotel fare--but sitting on deck outside of breakfast room was very nice. Nice outdoor swimming pool although didn't use it.
Nice clean place, freeway close. We had the Jaquzzi room suite. Water pressure to fill the Jaquzzi was impressive and hard. However the pressure in the shower was TERRIBLE!!! Bath room also had a pain in the backside “touch Light switch” sometimes it worked most times it drove us nuts not turning on. Nice staff and clean rooms.
We stayed 1 night. We were here a year ago and found the hotel to meet our needs to shower and sleep. My sons were running the Ultra Marathon in Corona early the next morning and we had to leave by 3:30am. Its near several fast foods & restaurants and right off the freeway. It is very convenient.
We were in town for a wedding. Just needed a place to change, sleep and a bonus was breakfast included. The front reception was very nice and quick. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. It had a coffee maker, microwave and frig. The bath had dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion. On the bath counter was even makeup wipes. We had plenty of room with a sitting area and desk to lay out our clothes, write a wedding card and get dressed up. The parking was free with easy access from the freeway. The breakfast had eggs, bread, bagels, cereals, oatmeal, yogurt, pastries, coffee, juice and water. For the price this was a great hotel and we would go back. Thank you Best Western Plus Lake Elsinore Inn & Suites
I was very pleased with my room and the staff was GREAT !!! The location was safe and the security was top notch with security cameras threw out the parking lot and inside the building ! The outside and inside of the building was clean and smelled fresh never saw any trash and the bathrooms were spot-less as well as the dinning area ! I'm very picky about where I stay when I travel for work and I always seek out a Best Western to stay in ! I have never been let down with Best Western ! I did have one time when I was staying in a Best Western in Rancho Cucamonga and the power went out in the area and the staff there was incredible with how they handled the situation very professional ! I will always stay at a Best Western from now on !
We booked in here just for one night on our travels, but we're so happy here I wish we'd had an extra night to look around a bit more and another happy nights sleep. Lovely clean room and comfy beds. Nice toiletries and a good shower which mean a lot to us. We had the inclusive breakfast which was surprisingly good. Spent an hour or so in and around the pool which was lovely too. Overall , yes very nice.
It has a nice pool and rooms are big meeting the typical criteria for a good to nice hotel. Things that were great were: had a free breakfast!. laundry room available, mini fridge and microwave, printing capabilities, and it was pretty close to stores and restaurants
poor customer service at check out. I wouldnt recommend to stay here. They dont greet you in the morning and the room smell and not very appealing. I have nothing else to stay but stay somewhere else bestwestern hotel.
I stayed here for business. The hotel is conveniently located off the freeway. The staff is friendly, and the hotel is very clean. The rooms are nice, especially for a Best Western, and the best of all, the price is right. I recommend this for business, or if you just need a quiet night away from it all.
Very comfy bed and chairs. The room is clean and quite spacious. Lots of channels on the television, along with HBO. The wi-fi isn't secure and the room coffee is not worth brewing, but it was a good stay otherwise. I would definitely stay here again.
At check-in was NOT informed about the room phones being blocked. Could not even call the front desk Requested repair to the room and was not completed during stay. The toilet seat slipped, need I say more. If checking in to this hotel ask up front about their phones.
- CLEAN! - quite - nice pool area - new fitness room&laundry - good breakfast - very helpful and friendly staff - had a lovely stay here if i'm this area I gonna book it again and again cause it was lovely - big parking lot - close to grocery stores (Walmart, Vons) and restaurants
I stayed there for a night, just to get away for the labor day holiday. I loved the cleanliness of the grounds and the easy check in. My only issue with the check in was that I would have had to pay 250.00 more if I didn't want to use the card on file. That took me aback because I've never been told that before of a hotel. Ultimately, I was still very pleased with my stay. We went to a nearby grocery store and brought items back to the room to eat, so it was awesome to have a fridge and microwave available for us in our room. Please note that in our room there wasn't a closet, but if you are just staying for a day, you don't really need it. Lastly, the view of lake Elsinore is breathtaking, and if you want to gamble playing card games, the Lake Elisinore casino is in walkimg distance! I would definitely stay here again!
Last month i stayed at the Best Western Plus hotel in Lake Elsinore CALIFORNIA! The hotel was really beaurifully modern and very clean as were the grounds also, plenty of parking and all the staff were friendly and very helpful making my stay comfortable. and my room was spacious and cheerfully decorated the air conditioning was excellent for those hot summer days n nights at lake Elsinore. I stayed there because it was centrally located for trips to the Temecula area and NOT as expensive as hotels in Temecula as some visitors stayed just to say they stayed in Temecula. Theres plenty of places to eat and shop around the hotel. Sooooo on my last evening there after coming back from exploring the lake Elsinore and Temecula areas I decided to go for a swim since it had been a very Hot and muggy day so when i got to the pool hopibg to ebjoy a cool swim and even relaxing in the Jacuzzi i observed the pool instead of being crystal clear and Clean was VERY,VERY CLOUDY BUT i webt in ANYWAY figuring i would see for myself! And I did it was Disgusting and looked unsafe and NOT healthy at all ESPECIALLY for a swim! So i got out fast dried myself off went back into the hotel where rhe lady at the front desk asked how was the pool? I mentioned the appearance and she informed me a number of weeks ago some guests webt into the pool n it clouded the water AND Jacuzzi AND THAT MANAGEMENT TRIED TO CLEAN UP BUT COULDN'T! Knowing all along pool was unsafe and healthy but still ASKING me HOW was the POOL! I was livid and felt ripped OFF!! I saw the hotels web page it was AWESOME and couldn't wait to get there only to find out pool was NOT healthy and safe to use. So at checkout i spoke to the desk clerk Mr Singh who was courteous at my earlier check in and check out bow about pool and all he said was to me" You know how it is" about condition of pool! No i dont know how it is! I come ro a Best WESTERN Plus hitel expecting a Vest WESTERN Plus hotel n all its amenities up to par and feeling lied to and ripped off! I should have been told at checkin pool and Jacuzzi were not safe! But Noooooo instead i was disappointed after a Hot SWEATY day ENJOYING Temecula not to go into a clean cool pool. OOOOHHHHH AND BY THE WAY THAT WEEKEND STAY COST ME $395.00 AT THE BEST WESTERN LAKE ELSINORE WHERE THE UNHEALTHY POOL SHOULD HAVE BEEN CLOSED AND GUESTS INFORMED OF ITS CONDITION! BUT MANAGEMENT NEVER CONSIDERED THAT FOR THE GUESTS SAFETY! THE HOTEL DIDNT EVEN OFFER TO COMPENSATE ME FOR THE INCONVENIENCE, NOT even we are sorry! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! SHOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED A BEST WESTERN PLUS HOTEL.
The rooms are nice, but the noise just carries, Breakfast room is clean eggs are runny and the line for waffles is too long of a wait most of the time. Lobby is clean but I wish smoking was not allowed so close to the pool area and lobby
We usually stay overnight so we don't have to worry about the drive home from Temecula after a wine pick up party/dinner. The only problem with the room was the coffee maker was broken. The front desk offered to replace it but they had coffee in the lobby, which unfortunately was so weak it tasted like water. Nothing like a bad cup of coffee! I guess I should have replaced the coffee maker.
Stayed here for one evening so I could catch a game with the Lake Elsinore Storm. Found the place very comfortable. Staff was great in helping me find things in town, etc. Room large and comfortable. Pool was very well maintained. Unfortunately the Fitness Room was undergoing renovation so I couldn't use that too. Breakfast was better than the usual breakfast buffet. Again wanted to stress how helpful/friendly the staff was! Very refreshing!
Always a good welcome, comfortable bed, clean room with everything you need. Been here a dozen times. My only regret was taking the BW stick pen from the desk and having it explode in the pocket of my new shirt 20 minutes after checking out ! Until next time, thanks. CB3 - aka Mike M.
This BW Hotel is very nice, clean and roomy. The bed was very comfortable and the AC worked well in a very hot area. The view was nice. The pool is being renovated, so we were not able to give it a try. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who would want to visit Lake Elsinore.
This was a very good hotel experience. The hotel is centrally located to enjoy Lake Elsinore, Oceanside, Dana Point and surrounding areas. We spent a very pleasant two nights here. Breakfast is plentiful and in a very pleasant room with adjoining patio. The sink is in the room with the shower which makes for a larger room and not the usual "shower in a closet." Just a small thing, but the shower controls are waist-high so no stooping down toward the bottom of the bathtub. Furnishings and accessories are quite dated, but maybe that's the look they are going for, because everywhere (rooms, lobby, breakfast room) is filled with items from Grandma's attic. We had a small problem with a plugged toilet, and someone was there to take care of it in ten minutes. Very efficient.
We have stayed in several Best Western hotels and found this one to be a disappointment in regard to the front desk staff. Otherwise, it is a comfortable hotel at Lake Elsinore as long as you don't mind a short interruption of your day with fire alarm check, water shut off (short time only), and the pool not functioning.
Stayed in a king suite with in-room hot tub. The room was one big room. The carpet was kind of old but bed and furniture were new. My room faced the outdoor pool and jacuzzi. The staff were very courtesy and I didn't get to try the breakfast since I left before. It's located right off the freeway and there's tons of shopping around you. The bed was very comfortable. All in all, a decent room.
A few problems during our stay. When I made our reservations I was never told that the laundry service or the gym would not be available. The pool was unavailable a couple days during our stay. Having to leave the hotel to do laundry was very inconvenient!!
After checking in, they mentioned that we could only stay one night after telling them we needed 2 nights and getting the confirmation over the phone. We talked to Avi at the check in desk about it and he fixed everything for us! The rooms are very nice here and there are several places nearby that you can walk to to eat. There is also a Walmart very near.
Very nice place. Close to food establishments and of course where we needed to go. Rooms are very accommodating with microwaves, coffee etc. I think price could be lower especially for Senior citizens.
Not much to do in this area. Rooms were kind of small and plain. Wi-fi was unreliable. A/C worked well. I never made it to breakfast as it ended at 10 am weekends and 9:30 am weekdays. Adequate parking.
This site is old dirty glubby. For the price I was charged I expected a great deal more to include maybe a free bottle water silly me the air conditioning was loud difficult to control the sofa was sagging mess and I totally was disappointed in this day I travel a great deal several times a month and this was the pits .
Overall, this hotel was better than expected for the price. It sits high on a hill with an amazing view. The lobby and breakfast room are way better than expected in this price range. The beds were super comfortable. I can't expect a $200/night quality experience for $68/night stay so the downsides I just accepted, I could have reported the issues but the man at the front desk seemed annoyed enough so I just let it go. Sink in room stopper was broken and bathroom smelled of mildew. The elevator area and patio area could really use a clean up. Overall, I can live with those issues for the value.
I was very impressed with the location and clean rooms. I felt very comfortable, safe and could relax after driving a long time from the Bay area. Will be staying here again whenever I am in the area.
Had to wait until little after 3 pm to check in; rooms are mediocre at best; breakfast sub-par. If in Elsinore, suggest stay at Holiday Inn Express, it is the same price, much better; I have stayed at both locations
So let's start with the positives: Property looked nice and the interior (including my room) was clean. Bathroom was clean (which is majorly important to me...as I'm sure it is for everyone). The shower was okay, but not great. Water pressure seemed low. The Bed/pillows were adequate and the sheets were clean. I LOVED how the channels on the LG TV were in alphabetical order!! So helpful. As for the negatives: People in room next door were loud until 3 a.m. on a Sunday night into early Monday morning. And I had to get up early for a work event that I was in town for. So either the people were really loud or the walls are very thin. Or maybe a combination of both. The bathroom towels didn't smell fresh. They needed fabric softener or some type of fresh smell scent. And usually when I stay at a motel/hotel, they slide my invoice under the door. This didn't happen here. Since I needed a receipt for work, I went to the front desk and there was a "With a Customer...be back" kind of sign on the counter. I was in a bit of a hurry, so I wasn't happy having to waste 15-20 minutes of my time. Having said all of this, I would consider staying at this property again. The noisy room next door wasn't anything the hotel did wrong. Unless this is a noisy property, I'm sure the odds would be in my favor of having a less noisy experience next time. That's all I got!
Stopped here for the night on our way to San Diego. Hotel room was roomy and had a refrigerator and microwave. We had one queen and a pull out sofa bed. Free parking. Very quiet. We didn't try the free breakfast.
The room was big and clean. The bed was comfortable. Staf was very friendly. Breakfast was good (scrambled eggs, bacon, waffels,Bread, bagels, muffins and more). One night there was popcorn in the lobby. Enough parking space. We would stay here again.
Very disappointed in Best Western for such a dirty and old hotel. Way overpriced! Carpet was torn and dirty. bedding not too clean. Sofa bed had no pad and no linens even though I book for multiple people. The only nice part was the pool. The food was hardly edible.
The hotel from the check in, room, amenities and check out was adequate. I did feel overwhelmed by air freshener used to cover the smell of smoke in the room at first but this would easily be fixed by having the walls sealed and repainted. The carpets were old and gross but the bed and bath were clean and I think for the price it was an acceptable alternative to staying in a hotel closer to the noise of the freeway.
Rude staff, understaffed hotel. I waited over 15 min to check in front desk was unmanned Called front desk several times to ask for a new remote control- no answered. Staff was rude when I asked for directions to the nearest shopping center. I was advised that google can help me find what I need
Nice quality hotel, breakfast was great pool looked inviting, staff were helpful and professional. The only thing I can fault was the carpet. It had grease on it from work boots I'm assuming. I notified front desk upon check out.
The stay was nice place was not all that for the price should be less money I'm my openion. Need to have real cheese in the omlets tast better. That is all I have to say at this time. I'm not sure why I have to come up with so much to say.
The best hotel we stopped at during a 2 week trip in California. Luxurious room, super clean. Great view from the room, fridge TV, large bed. Probably the best breakfast of the whole trip. Nothing though within walking distance. Excellent value.
Room and services ok. Bed hard as a rock. Pool small and was not cleaned all week. Towels left around from previous day. Breakfast not bad but layout of items was confusing. Employees helpful and courteous.
Hotel is easy to find. Plenty of parking but an odd shaped narrow lot. Check in was easy and was given a top floor room with a view of the lake. Room was large enough but the furniture was outdated. TV was big enough and the channel line up isn't bad. Bed was alright and had plenty of pillows. Sofa was hard and outdated. Mini fridge needs replacement. Makes a loud noise alot. Bathroom was fine. Plenty of hot water. Elevator situation sucks because there's one small elevator and a narrow doorway to pass to get to it so getting a luggage cart around was hard. Pool and jacuzzi looked nice and overlooked lake. Curtains could replacement as well as they were torn and worn out. Did not like the a joining door situation because to me they are a security issue. All in all my stay was quiet and pleasant. I'd stay again.
My stay was quiet, had a good nights sleep. Staff recommended a good Chinese restaurant to eat at. My only complaint is generally hotels don't have enough washing machines. This hotel has the most extensive number of exercise items I've come across for Bestwestern.
I would have never chosen to stay here if not for attending a wedding. Hotel options in this area are minimal. I preface this review with the fact that I am a bit of a hotel snob. As in give me an airbnb any day. Hotel is dated. The carpet in our room was ripped up. I tried taking a shower and the bit that turns on the shower was stuck and they had to WD40 it. We stayed in the two king room. That was cool because each of us had our own room. A plus except for the fact it was first floor and right off the lobby. Gym machines were all broken and hot tub was dirty. Staff was overworked and handling multiple roles. However they were super nice! The hotel does give free breakfast which was a plus. This is a solid 2 star hotel.
Love this place awesome staff and convenient to great restaurants and only a half hour to the fields in hemet being coming here since it opened. Our team like being able to meet by the pool and visit.
My room was clean everyday. I was well received by the staff. All the facilities and services had no issues and were in good working order. My experience was great for a short term stay. Would look forward to an extended stay anytime.
Very nice experience. Great view from lakeside room. Staff were helpful and nice. Room was clean and modern. Climate controls were easy and temperature was comfortable. Breakfast was simple, but tasted good and was filling. About the only negative was that the coffee could have been stronger.
TV didn't work, in the first room so had to lug my belongings to a second room; sent to a room on the ground floor (basement]r;room was hot; 80 degrees and took overnight to cool. Due to the high temp, unable to utilize whirlpool tub that night which was an additional cost. The next day, sent back to first room; TV still inoperable the next day, however a different clerk was on duty and was able to fix the problem after 2 separate attempts.
I spent three nights here and enjoyed every night the room was spacious with a refrigerator plenty of hot water for showers good internet speed and great selections of tv channels. The room was very quiet the bed is a little stiff but the pillows were nice and soft, I also ate the free breakfast a nice selections off scrambled eggs sausage make yourself waffles
Lovely, hotel. Alexis from the front desk was very engaging and welcoming upon arrival. The rooms are neat and clean. The beds are amazing. There is a bountiful breakfast included in the rate. Some hot items which is always welcomed. All in all this is a great choice for the Lake Elsinore area
I had an emergency and had to rent a room quickly, i saw they had a good price online but I didnt have a card to book it with. The lady at the front desk was still nice enough to give me a discounted rate even though it was a different price inside! Everyone here has been SO nice, the hotel was BEAUTIFULLY remodeled, and it has just been a very enjoyable stay. i will definitely be staying here again if I ever need a room in Hemet again!!!
A few issues: shampoo/conditioner dispensers a good idea but hard to use because of how they are mounted to the wall. The eliptical is obviously for looks not use - it was terribly wobbly and unsturdy. The room was clean and large.
Long few days of business in northern Los Angeles county concluding in Lake Elsinore area. Woman who checked us in was very helpful and kind. Room was nice size, very comfortable beds and accommodating. Never had a problem with the Wi-Fi but we weren't in the room all day...would stay there again if we're in the area.
Location was good. Far enough away from the interstate. Not a lot of restaurants in the area. Just your typical fast foods mostly. The room was clean but the rug needed a good shampooing, there were 2 areas that needed cleaning. I would have given this motel 4 stars if I could have stayed on the internet but I keep getting bump off. I had some billing to do for my business and was unable to send out emails because of the weak wifi.
The hotel was everything you could ask for. Quiet, clean, comfortable, affordable, well kept, convenient, and all around a fun place to stay. The staff is friendly, professional, and make you feel like more than just a guest. I would recommend this hotel to everyone looking for a great place to stay and play.
we had a very good experience at this hotel and will stay there again when visiting our friends. we had excellent service with our request and the hotel was very clean. i would recommend it to others and have already done so.
I had a great experience at this hotel, it was very easy to find and the location was great for my event in the area. The hotel was clean, quiet and very comfortable. The staff was pleasant and helpful on check in and check out. I would stay here again if I am in the area.
I will start by saying that our overnight stay was peaceful and comfortable. We were tired by the time we got there and after checking in, discovered that our keys to the room didn't work. So, we had to go back downstairs to have them activated. My friend decided to use the pull out bed. There was no bedding for the bed at all. She called down and they told her to come to the front desk to get it. In the morning, we went down for our breakfast. I was hoping for a bit more with this. The sausage looked strange and I'm not sure of what kind of meat it actually was. It was basically a continental breakfast with a bonus of eggs, "sausage", and you could make waffles. After breakfast we went back to our room to rest for a bit before checking out. Someone from the staff just randomly entered our room. We were just in shock staring at him. He asked us if we were checking out later. We said yes. I asked him what time check out was because I thought maybe we had overstayed somehow. But, it was 9am when he came in and check out wasn't until noon. My friend later went downstairs to buy snacks at the front desk (vending machine was out of order). There was no one to be found anywhere and she was waiting for quite some time. My stay really wasn't bad. It was fine for overnight. I've stayed in much better Best Westerns and this just fell short for me. If I were in the area again I would choose another hotel.
The stay at Best Western Plus Lake Elsinore Inn & Suites was better than expected. Great views from room 221. We booked 1 night but stayed 2. Front desk personnel was excellent especially Evelyn. We asked for a late check out due to a late flight and we were granted a generous 2pm checkout. The breakfast is better than most with actual hot foods.
Once again my wife and myself experienced a great stay at the Best Western Plus in Lake Elsinore Inn & Suites in Lake Elsinore, California. You always have a quiet stay with peaceful nights rest and very good breakfasts, and this time I got an amazingly great rate.
We were impressed with the staff and the Hotel. The internet was fast, the breakfast was very good and the room was clean and comfortable. Excellent location and easy access. We will be making additional trips to this area and will be staying at this motel.
Stayed at this BW hotel for 3 nights. We arrived very late on a Friday night and the staff was waiting for us and helped us get to our rooms. The kids loved the outdoor pool after the sun went down. The hotel is convenient to Lake Elsinore, Sun City, and Menifee. Larger rooms have a pull out couch for extra sleeping space. Smaller rooms had two queen beds. We had a fridge and microwave in our rooms. The breakfast is good and kept our 3 families going during our stay.
Bot check in and check out managers were great!!! Asked what we were doing and gave the inside scoop on things in the are revolving around what we were doing. Was like our own tour guides for the area....
Pretty disappointed. Crumbs on the carpet and ants in the bathroom when we arrived. After the room was serviced, crumbs were still on the carpet and ants were still in the bathroom. Reported to clerk, but returned hours later only to find the same conditions. Had to have a chat with the manager before action was taken. Returned to a cleaner room with ants in the bathroom and in my dreams all night. Stayed three nights for over $100/night. No refund. Won't stay here again. There's a Quality Inn across the street.
I always stay at Best Western in Lake Elsinore. I have never had a bad experience here. Hotel staff is very friendly. I love the outside patio for breakfast. Good rates, good quality, great service. Location is easy to get to, right off the freeway if you're driving in.
This seemed to be the nicest hotel in the northern part of the area. Around the Northern area of Lake Elsinore there were very nice homes but the area around the lake was very disappointing and run down. There didn't seem to be any place for tourists to get on the lake.
Our stay at the Lake Elsinore Best Western was very enjoyable. We loved the breakfast and service! Everyone of the staff was very helpful. The first night sleeping was a little uncomfortable, so we asked the front desk to check the bed and the maintenance guys showed up and immediately noticed one of the box springs needed to be replaced which they took care of right away. After that we slept very well.
We stayed here because we had a family function to attend in Temecula and the hotels there were either sold out or too expensive. We were extremely happy with the Best Western. It was a little further away, but worked out fine. The room was very clean and comfortable. Love the shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel dispenser in the shower. Nice quality products. Also liked the lotion dispenser next to the sink. We would definitely return to this hotel!
Very nice place to stay. Pool looked good and room was very large inside. Hotel staff were very helpful and professional. breakfast was way better than the ones I had had earlier in my trip at a different hotel chain.
I, and my family, were in town to bury my Mother. I and my wife had stayed at this hotel in 2013, when my Father passed. I was very pleased then and I was pleased, as well, this time. With events scheduled in the area and graduations the prices were higher this time, but the food is still good, you have peaceful nights sleep and friendly staff..
Horrible customer service. I was passing through town and had to find a local hotel for the night. While looking online I found best western near by. I booked the hotel assuming it was for the current date. On our way to the hotel I checked the confirmation which said it was for the following date. I quickly within 5 mins of booking called the hotel directly to change the reservation. They advised since I booked online I had to call the website Best Western number. I called right away in attempt to change my reservation. I spoke to two employees who stated that my cancellation/modification period was over which was at 4pm .I explained that I literally just booked the room five mins ago at 6:10pm. They could not even get me over to a manager and advised there was nothing they could do. How is it possible that an adjustment cannot be made to a reservation within five mins of booking. Extremely disappointed that if I booked my room AFTER the modification period how I would not be able to make an adjustment? How is it possible that a hotel can charge for a room that was not used. It was such an inconvenience . I drove all the way home to Los Angeles . Did not even utilize the room. Extremely disappointed!
Staff were friendly. Our stay came with complimentary breakfast - we liked the food. Pleasant stay over all. Only issue we had was with the bath tub draining very slowly. We reported it and was told no maintenance on duty (it was a weekend). A staffer then poured Draino which didn't fix the problem. We were offered a new room which we declined (we didn't feel like moving). We were happy that they offered the new room though. When we checked out they also reimbursed about a quarter of the total cost because of the bathtub issue. Would stay there again
The key is to drive in past (eastward) the covered entry and park there. Otherwise, you may have to hike uphill from your parking spot. Front desk staff was very nice on my visit, and my room was among the cleanest I have experienced. Well landscaped and clean outer areas.
Clean quiet room with comfortable bed. Free breakfast and internet. Good view of the lake, we were even treated to a firework show on the night of stay. Lots of parking and very convenient from the freeway. I have no hesitation visiting this Best Western in the future. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Excellent value with clean, comfortable rooms... sleep in a quiet location and wake up to a delicious buffet breakfast served on the ground floor. Outdoor pool and Jacuzzi overlook the Lake Elsinore valley bracketed by mountains. Bathrooms have hair dryer, soap, aloe shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
My wife & I enjoyed our recent 3 night stay very much. It is a very clean & the staff is excellent, from the hotel clerks to the maids. It's a very good quality hotel with reasonable rates for today. We would go back in a minute.
The room was very quiet, even with a hotel full of bikers! The pool area was clean and well maintained, the breakfast was hot and plentiful, the common use facilities were open and available for our use (and we used them a lot for evening gatherings), and again, the staff was friendly, engaging and accommodating during our entire 3 night stay. We experienced no issues at all with the quality and cleanliness of our room, and the housekeeping staff was very responsive to all our needs, as was the front desk, placing a roll-away bed in the room for an extra guest within minutes of our request. Thank you for a great stay; we look forward to visiting you again!
I liked the place. The room was modern and, what is very important, completely sound proof! The breakfast is very rich and the view from the terrace is fantastic! Parking was rather easy and available. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel!
Staff very nice. Rooms poor. Housekeeping a HUGE issue for this property. Elevator and ice machines broken. It fit our needs but probably will think twice about using this hotel again. And I'm not holding the property responsible for the lack of electricity on the day of our departure, which meant no blow dryer, unable to see in bathroom without cell phone flashlight, no A/C and unable to settle bill on check-out. :(
Friendly staff, breakfast, pool , spa , HBO, and much more! My only advice is to make sure there are not any stains on the carpet or the furniture. If there are any ugly spots from past guests, it tells me that i am not important enough to have the very best. Luckily my lady friend was open minded enough to ignore the bad and focus on the good.
The hotel is clean, great service, tasty and filling breakfast. We got an excellent deal through Priceline and traveled to the coast and wine country. I would suggest a different area than lake elinsore but it you are staying there this place was awesome!
This Best Western is nice and clean. Staff were professional. Not much to do in Lake Elsinore but close to Temecula. Breakfast was tasty. Room was clean and nice. Only about 20 minutes from Temecula so a good alternative to staying there.
I have been staying at the Lake Elsinore BW for several years at least 3 or 4 times a year. The staff is the best I have found at any hotel, always helpful and friendly. This is like a second home for me and they have become like an extended family. They always try to accommodate me even on short notice.
Always a great choice if your traveling along the 15 - We have stayed here a number of time and like the nice service, clean room, and breakfast. Sometimes the rate is a little higher than expected due to special events in the area.
Accommodations here are an excellent value. The staff is friendly, helpful and courteous. Although the location is near Interstate 15, there is no discernible freeway noise. The breakfast area off the lobby overlooks Lake Elsinore and the mountains of the Cleveland National Forest.
Stayed for two nights and found the staff to be so very pleasant and helpful. When I checked in Evelyn was on dutyThe room was clean and a nice view on the mountain side. Would certainly stay at this property again.
Exceptional facility with very helpful staff. Close to everything. We were visiting family nearby for a few days and it was very convenient. Large king room and very clean. Wonderful full breakfast with anything you would want. The only issue was the very noisy room next to us. Walls seemed to be quite thin. Loud laughing from adults and screaming from children. This was not BW fault. We did not complain, as it did quiet down after 10:00. Overall a wonderful facility with great service.
When in the Temecula/Murietta, CA area this is a very nice property at a reasonable nightly rate. I recommend over the properties in Temecula and Murietta (value for money). Property is well off of the Interstate -- no noise. Pool, hot tub, breakfast -- just a very nice place. Stayed in room 317 and it was fine.
Hotel was all you see in pictures, very nice, clean, & relaxing,,, the way pool was located with mountains view and my main reason for booking this Hotel, and loved the view especially at Sunset!! Totally recommend for couples getaways
I have stayed at Best Western Plus hotels which were outstanding. This one was quite ordinary. There was a light bulb missing, I had to go to the desk to ask for one, and the shampoo/body wash dispenser in the shower was hanging a bit loose, although the shower head was nice. The toilet paper was of an inferior quality. The heating/cooling worked well. The staff was fine; I just thought the room would be a bit nicer. The walls were thin, and we had a noisy gazunch banging on the floor upstairs; this was not management's fault, but the construction could have been better to minimize this problem.
We would stay here again! Everything was very clean and accessible. Anytime we needed something, they got it for us right away. It was busy and we could have used just a little more parking. It was a nice, safe, clean place to stay!
Good location to stop for break during long driving trips. Quick exit/entrtance from HWY 5 freeway with lots of restaureant meal options nearby. Hotel is new and fresh with usual free breakfast for speedy departures back on highway. Checkin confirmation simple to assure credit on multi-visit future credits.
The property is immaculate and the entire staff is very accommodating. The rooms are very spacious, clean and very inviting. I am planning on staying again in the immediate future. The hotel is about 20 minutes from Temecula and just enough from the crowds. It was a very quite location despite being next to a major highway.
We had just stayed at another hotel one month before and paid 5 dollars less than this one, and the experience was terrible. This hotel, the first Best Western we stayed at in a long time, was excellent. The staff was friendly and a great help, we felt like we were dealing with family. Will always stay at a Best Western Hotel the next time we travel.
We were here 2 nights for the Thanksgiving holiday visiting friends nearby. Facilities were fine; room was clean and no noise from traffic, etc. Just a few blocks from the 15 freeway. The "lakeside view" room was not worth the extra $10 as you really couldn't see the lake; really the view was more of the roof of giant bowling alley next door. Breakfast was standard chain hotel fare, no complaints. Only thing I didn't like was the shampoo/conditioner/gel dispensers in the shower rather than little bottles; it took so many pumps to get enough shampoo, etc. All in all, well worth the money and very well maintained.
Very clean with helpful staff. Nice quality breakfast. Great location for the family and friends meeting. Easy access to fwy. Quiet and clean rooms and lobby. Will enjoy staying there again on our next trip. Thanks
It was a clean and comfortable place to stay. It is good value for your money. It has a pool and spa, outside. Laundry facilities (although, we did not use them). Good location. The breakfast was a very acceptable standard breakfast. It has an elevator and is 3 stories.
Stayed one night. Check in was easy. Hotel is super clean. Slept like a rock. Shower pressure perfect. Bed comfortable. Easily best hotel in Lake Elsinore. Di not use breakfast service but it sure looked good and I saw a lot of happy people enjoying their grub.
Having stayed at plenty of Best Western Plus hotels, when I needed a hotel for a couple of nights in Lake Elsinore this hotel was my most logical choice. The exterior is up kept and there is plenty of parking. Check in was quick and the front desk staff was friendly and courteous. I walked into the room and there was a very odd smell. I looked around the entire room and everything seemed in order. About an hour later I had to put some water bottles in the refrigerator and therein I found the smell. Two cans of beer had exploded in the freezer. How had housekeeping missed this and how long had it been there? I called the front desk and they were ferry apologetic. I was moved to a different room. In this room there was a huge chunk of carpet missing from the middle of the floor. At that point I didn't even care and decided not to say anything. The beds were ok. Old worn sheets with very flat pillows. There really aren't many other options in the area but if you have the choice and opportunity, Temecula is a much better option!!
I was in Lake Elsinore for the Lucas Oil offroad racing event at the Lake Elsinore motor sports park and this was by far the best hotel in the area, very close to the motor sports park and a few good restaurants
Needed a place to spend the night so we went with Best Western, always a good price with comfortable rooms. The staff at the front desk was very helpful. Beautiful staircase and balcony in the lobby. Breakfast included pancakes and bacon, along with oatmeal, pastries, fruit, cereal, toast and yogurt. Great value for the price. Would definitely stay there again.
We were glad to be close to one another's rooms during our recent Cousin Reunion. The food was great and the pool was relaxing. the manager, Avi, was very welcoming to our group and put the oldest in the group on the ground floor! thanks! There were a variety of restaurants close by on the other side of Highway 15.
The accomodations were nice. The room looked very clean. The bed was so uncomfortable that we were unable to sleep. It made the following day a very long day since there was no rest the night before. The Front Desk person was overwhelmed as she was by herself. The telephone was ringing and there was a line of 5-6 people attempting to check in. She was very courteous and explained everything to us.
Was looking for a reasonable place to stay close to our Spartan race location at Vail Lake. Not far from our race and slept like a baby. Super clean, comfortable, cute room. Staff was super nice too. Had a cup of coffee in room and a fridge to keep all my nutrition for the next day.
I read through some of the reviews and was somewhat concerned. I booked the room anyway and did not regret it. I thought the room was clean with nice furnishings. The staff were very friendly and responsive. Check in was a breeze. There were quite a few people at breakfast and I thought it was fine. I would not hesitate to book here again.
stayed in 2014...The elevator was very loud. I was on third and heard it coming up from first floor. Front desk staff however was very helpful and kind. I had to leave early so I never got a chance to try the breakfast.. Wake up calls are not personal, just beeping coming from the phone..
Great place to prep and focus... fantastic restaurants nearby! Close to freeway and has a nice scenic area all around the hotel of the mountains. Breakfast was nice and the staff very accommodating to all needs.
I had never stayed at a Best Western Plus but knew of folks that had. I booked the hotel primarily based on TripAdvisor reviews, which ere accurate. The hotel is dated, but clean. It served the purpose - somewhere to sleep and shower.
