Best Western Plus Mid Nebraska Inn & Suites

We checked in late and hotel staff was alert and friendly. Room was nice and clean. Room was also very quiet, never heard the ice machine that was down the hall. Breakfast was good with real bacon which was very nice after trying some of the “tissue paper” bacon that other hotels serve.

The price was inflated and had no extra value. Membership status might be that you pay more for the room than you should. The breakfast was Meh and we stopped at a restaurant for breakfast instead. The staff was nice and helpful.

Not a lot to review average hotel nothing special or over the top. I would say they could do a better job of recognizing there elite members a bit better. Also the location of the hotel is a bit out of the way if you plan todo things in Kearney

Just checked in for one night and the gal at the front desk was very helpful and told us where things were nearby like food and quick shopping needs. Her name was Zoie and she made our 1 night stay so easy. I gave it a 4 because the hotel could use a few renovations but otherwise, nice clean place to stay and if passing through there again, we would certainly stay there.

I'm going to start this review stating that I Tralee a bad review and am NOT the type to complain about everything. Walked into room and the heat was blast, probably 85 degrees. Turned on AC at lowest set. The room remained stuffy all night long. It was 12/15, so we shouldn't need to run the AC. We got very little sleep all night long, including our dog who was panting all night. The AC was very loud and woke us up every time it kicked on. On the plus side, the room was convex for our dog, and there was a nice grassy area for them right out the door. I was also queasy the cleanliness of the room, since the were hairs on the bathroom floor. I would be very upset if I had paid the full rate for this room, to me it was very overpriced. I used some of my BW points to lower the cost, and actually not real happy about wasting those points. Not up to par for a Best Western!

Our car broke down and they let us check in early and were very accommodating. If I come to Kearney again I will definitely go here. The pool and rooms are really nice. Would refer this hotel to anyone!

On a cross country road trip after ten hours of driving we were looking for a place where we could get a good night's sleep, and a decent breakfast in the morning before setting out again. This place was it - good bed, great shower, decent breakfast in the morning and all around good staff. We were not disappointed.

This hotel does make the most of what it has, but the fact is, it's dated. This was most apparent in the bathroom, which was small, with insufficient counter space. (Also regrettable is the hotel's persisting in providing non-ecofriendly travel-size toiletries rather than affixing larger, refillable bottles at the sink and shower.) But the breakfast was good! And of course the hotel is conveniently located.

We love the yards here! My dogs love the lawn here!! They are lush, green and perfect! We ordered dinner delivered from Cunningham's on the Lake and it was amazing food!! We slept so great, it was comfortable and quiet!! I will stay here every chance we get!!

Bait and Switch Went in and asked for price for two rooms. Was told a price. Then I was told that no. There was only ONE room available for that price. And that the next room was like $50 more. When I got to actually trying to actually reserve the rooms they shot up by yet another $50 dollars each!!! People ask for pricing want a straight forward dependable answer. Not bait and switch mid-reservation.

Our beds were comfortable. Hotel lobby had comfortable chairs for reading. There was fresh coffee in the lobby. Staff was friendly and helpful to everyone. Breakfast was kept well-supplied. I would stay here again.

Quiet, comfortable room with nice light blankets on the bed. A/C worked great. Breakfast was good and there was a nice variety of choices. Friendly staff. Will stay here again next time we are travelling through Nebraska. Hallway carpets were being replaced as we left.

Just love this property. This is our 3rd stay here and we have always had an awesome experience. If you are looking for a clean, quiet, well maintained place to stay this is it. The room was very inviting and spacious. Super comfy bed, with a fridge and microwave. Great hot breakfast with a nice selection of choices. Zoie at the front desk was very nice and friendly. Would highly recommend checking in here!

This hotel is your average accommodations. A little on the older side, but was tidy and clean. We appreciated the pool area being open later than some hotels (11 instead of 10) because we got in pretty late, but it was deeply appreciated we could relax in the hot tub for a few. Breakfast was average, nothing fantastic, but it was ready at 6 so we could get going to finish our travel today. Would recommend as long as expectations aren't super high.

We are an active duty Air Force family of 6 moving to our new duty station, driving over 2k miles to get there. We unfortunately stopped here for the night. We had two rooms, one the microwave didn't work, the other room the TV didn't work. One of the bathrooms had a VERY dirty toilet (it was clear the maid service didn't clean) as well as trash in the room. The bed was comfortable but there are flood lights outside our room with no way to close curtains so you have bright lights in your face all night. Breakfast was good and the pool area was better than the several I've seen. But the worst part of it was the huge group of kids running up and down the hallway ALL NIGHT LONG. There was a party of some sort in room 233 and they were still up running around past midnight which is a problem when you're driving hundreds of miles everyday. I would suggest finding another hotel if you're looking for a clean place to get some rest. This isn't it!

Had a horrible experience, didn't had an option to close the blinds was street light and transparency and couldn't catch good sleep. Booked this for my long drive before resuming for next day. Front desk check-in and out were rude for no reasons. Before my stay during got a call and was asked if I am planning to stay extra day. Overly priced for such inhospitable and embarrassing stay.

We were pleasantly surprised. Doesn't look like much from the outside and right off the I-80 exit, but the hotel is very clean, reception friendly, rooms clean, bed was great. Even the breakfast, for which I had low expectations because I'm fussy, had some good options. We will definitely stay here again if we pass through Kearney.

Love staying in Chadron. The staff is always amazingly nice. I've been staying here for almost 4 years. The staff is always friendly and extremely helpful. Kyle is very kind and helpful. Great clean rooms.

Good location for quiet! But I didn't think this was a BW Plus.....nothing over the top. Only issue was limited bathroom counter space and that can't b e fixed. Awful in-room coffee can be fixed but coffee station coffee was better. Decent breakfast......Our large room was clean and neat with a great view of the night's lighting show! Speaking of lights, why can't hotels offer good reading lighting? Staff was helpful and nice....great parking. No complaints really but I didn't see the $164 value.....would go back I think at this point.

You know its a good motel when you leave with more friends than you came with. This is that type place. We really enjoyed meeting our "neighbors" and hearing about where they were from. The motel was clean and quiet. The room was comfy and large. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

Recently remodeled property was pleasant and quite functional with extra coffee stations, water filtration station, and nice breakfast room. Our room was on the older side, but clean. Was given a room on the quiet side of the hotel, which backs up to I80. The air conditioner/heater was on the noisy side.

Great value! The room was excellent. upon check-in the front desk upgraded our room to a very nice huge suite. He said it would ensure that there was abundance of quiet. the location was nice right across the interstate from many eateries. breakfast was typical always good.

We appreciate the very reasonable price for our dogs ($25 flat rate per night). It's a little older than most places (dark carpet and pressed board furniture), the bathroom was more compact but very clean, and there is alot of humidity in Nebraska, so the chair felt damp. But the bed was comfortable and linens bright white. We were super happy with it being so quiet despite being right next to housekeeping, and glad to park right outside the room window! Thanks for coffee in the lobby; breakfast was pretty typical. If you are sensitive to smoke ask for a room away from the entrance (it is nonsmoking but people like their cigarettes just outside the side doors).

a little pricey in my opinion for a rewards member compared to other hotels, but very very clean, polite and professional. helpful and courteous. it was nice to be able to get a handicap wheelchair accessible room for my husband. i would recommend Best Western Plus in Kearney NE.

This motel was very clean and nice inside. And landscaping outside definitely kept up. The staff was also very polite. Breakfast was great and our son sat in hot tub and was very clean. Overall one of the best motels I have seen in awhile!! Would highly recommend.

I could tell that the owners of this property care about their business. The staff were friendly and professional, the room was super clean, and the breakfast was fine. If you need to stop in Kearney, this hotel is the right place to be.

The hot breakfast was cold. There was a used dirty towel left in the bathroom when we arrived. I did report it to the staff that was on duty at the time. Location was good of interstate but had to drive to any food restaurants.

Spent 3 nights here while in town to take in the infamous Sandhill Crane migration. Most expensive hotel of our entire trip, and likely due to the strong demand this time of year from people catching the crane migration. But with that comes some expectations. Hotel is just average and needs some attention. Couldn't make just the fan run on the heating/cooling system, room was lacking some amenities which we had to go to the front desk to ask for. Hotel is starting to show some age. I think there are better options in town for the same price, but because we altered our travel dates by a few days, this Best Western was the only place that could accommodate us, maybe there is a reason for that. I would look to other options for hotels.

The BW Plus in Kearney is an excellent place to stay while in Kearney. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Availability of coffee/tea 24/7 perfect. Ample parking and easy access to rooms.

We have stayed and the Kearney Best Western Plus several times and never leave disappointed. The rooms are always very clean. This time we were in town for a basketball tournament and everyone in our group of 8 rooms left happy.

Spotless, clean, very kind check in and check out staff, excellent restaurants less than a mile away, one of the best on the road meals we had on our CA to MA cross country drive. Pet friendly. Well laid out, plenty of parking, nice area in wich to walk my pup.

Found the hotels to be very comfortable and affordable. The staff were real good too. Only problem was burned out or missing light bulbs in just one of the hotels where we stayed. I really like the rewards program, too. It was nice they had all the info and could just give us a discount.

We paid extra money to stay the Best Western plus. It was nothing but. Bathroom was microsize, countertop to Billy hold a makeup bag. Mattresses funky. Breakfast was a huge disappointment. No hash browns no pastries.

Out of 4 hotels we stayed at during our travels, this was by far the most expensive!! A King Suite for 1 night plus tax was going to be $170.95. When I questioned why, I was told there was a convention going on in town. A hotel should NEVER raise rates to regular guests just because of that! But "Hector" at the front desk was the BEST, just so nice & helpful, & recommended a delicious breakfast cafe down the road! We would stay here again!

The hotel was easy to get to. Very clean. The bathroom was a bit smaller than other Best Westerns that we have stayed at, but was adequate. Also, it is a quiet area and safe. They did serve a breakfast buffet with 2 hot items and a waffle maker. Also, there are several good restaurants in the immediate area.

After the long drive we had and a time change, this hotel was at the perfect spot. The place was right off the freeway but takes a little convoluted route to get to the property by driving though and old gas station parking lot. The service was great and they even had a discount coupon to one of the restaurants that I asked about. The room was quiet clean. Breakfast was a little better than the other BW we had been to. It definitely will be one we will stay at again when we come back this way.

A convenient location not far from main highway, our room was very clean and comfortable. Front desk staff courteous and helpful. Breakfast options were standard, nothing exceptional but fine. Would recommend and will stay again if in the area.

Right near the highway, but quiet. Fast, friendly check-in: the woman who checked us in (on the evening of 8/4) was great. Seems very convenient for attending performances at nearby venue, nice lake in back for walking. Just the entrance is a little hard to find--take the sharp turn right before the gas station rather than going farther back as we did.

A bery good Best Western to stay at when traveling. Very convenient and easy to find when driving down I-80 in either direction. Staff is very friendly and helpful, many nice ammenties in Kearney, NE that are very close to the Hotel.

Located just off I-80 it has easy access to the freeway. The rooms are clean, the staff friendly, beds comfortable and a good breakfast to start your day. There are several places to eat close to the hotel but most within a short drive.

Front desk staff was very helpful and property was well maintained. Wish I could take this property with me everywhere. Pool was clean and breakfast was very good. We would definitely stay here when we visit Kearny, NE again.

My wife and I have been coming here dating back to 2014 through this weekend, between Denver and Chicago, and it's been extremely clean, quiet and friendly since. Every time I stay there, it's like staying at a newly building hotel. I'm always impressed how clean Best Westerns are, which is why I don't stay anywhere else, when I don't have to. Great location in Kearny, right on the main street with restaurants, gas stations and shopping. Every staff member is always very friendly and attentive.

Great customer service, clean and comfortable rooms. The beds were excellent and the air conditioning was quiet, the bathroom was good sized Breakfast was nice and fresh. The overall appearance of the hotel was good.

This hotel was clean and comfortable. Our room was clean and quiet and restful. Staff were helpful and offered good information about the area, which I appreciated a lot. She knew we were travel weary and offered information about area restaurants.

Freak dumpster fire aside, it was really nice. Price, limited vending machines, tiny guest laundry--but beds like clouds! The room was small, but Covid clean. I love that there was a table and chairs!

My mother-in-law and 2 children were on their way back from CO and stayed one night here. My kids forgot their brand new swim suites at the hotel and we called and Adam was so delightful and had them the shipped back to us within 2 days free of charge! Excellent customer service and thank you!

The hotel was nice, room comfortable for the price. Setting was very relaxing. The problem we experienced is that our room had a door that adjoined to another room. The people in that room checked in around 12:00 am and didn't stop their noise (including sex!) until around 3:30 am. You could literally hear everything through the adjoining door. I'm no prude but I would rather not hear people argue and then moan the remainder of the night! To say the least, we didn't get much sleep and had a 7 hour drive the next day. We will not stay in a room again that adjoins to the one next door.

Hotel is a little dated had issues with TV and remote control that could not be resolved so I had to move my room breakfast is fair could use a few more healthy options. Do not stay in middle rooms of Hotel As smokers go outside to smoke at all hours of the day and night and you can hear them talking. They woke me up several times during my stay

On our trip west we decided to stay at this BW in Kearney. This - in my opinion - is an OK but not the "best" hotel. The staff was courteous and helpful and I'd say the place was very clean. The accommodations leave something to be desired. The A/C goes on and off all night making sleep an issue - at least for us. Breakfast was minimal. I feel for the money, it's a bit over priced. I'd give it a 2 star rating.

This is a renovated, nice hotel but if you plan to use the pool, do NOT stay here. You easily slip even just carefully walking. They have slick tile throughout the pool area. Our kids fell & hit their heads and ruined our trip.

Nice place to lay your head at the end of the day. Beds are great, staff is the best. Good location. My only suggestion would be to add a great restaurant to the location for connivence after a long day on the road.

I didn't have any major issues. Other than feeling like my latch was occasionally loose when I would get up, leading me to think that maybe someone was trying to get through the door. Everyone was great, treated me nicely. The managers and receptionist. I just wish they had thicker blankets. If you decide to stay in the apartments just bring an air freshener. Breakfast was better than what some of the other hotels in the area were offering.

We got the 2 bedroom suite. First off its actually nice but....its falling apart. Pocket doors are completely broken, drawer faces are literally falling off. Room wasnt very clean and was missing towels in the other bathroom. Hotel is nice but there are some very nice ones in the area. Plus side the bed is extremely comfortable!!!!!!!!

This hotel is in a fantastic location off the highway with a lot of area to walk the dog. Great customer service at both check in and check out. Breakfast was a little sparce, but didn't expect too much with Covid.

The pool and hot tub were open and so clean. I appreciated that they had makeup removal wipes in the room. The hotel and room decor was modern and up to date. It is a split-level hotel with two floors and no elevator. You only have to go six steps up or down though. They offered a hot breakfast that included scrambled eggs, sausage, English muffins, toast, muffins, waffles, instant oats, apples, coffee, oj, apple juice

My husband and I stayed at this hotel with our dog. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Desk staff were pleasant and helpful when I was making a reservation by phone. The pool was open but we did not use it, breakfast was available.

Even with the covid-19 restrictions the stay at this facility was extremely pleasant and enjoyable! The room was very clean and the staff were all very friendly and helpful with tips on where to dine and info on the surrounding area.

The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. The bathroom was on the small side, but the shower heated up right away! They offer a Grab and Go and a modified full breakfast where their staff hands our the hot food. The reason for the 3 stars was from making the reservation. I went to the Best Western site on the internet. The room rate was really good. When I went to confirm it, my card was charged and a tax+service charge was added. I was not given the opportunity to review and accept/decline the charge. If this wasn't bas enough the taxes + service charge way 50% of the room charge. There was also no way to get this charge broken down between taxes and "service charge". They really should tout it as a service "scam". 50%! Really? So if you stay here, don't make the reservation via the Best Western site. I don't know if you are charged a service charge if you call the hotel directly.

Hotel has to many large, loud dogs,barking in hallways woke me. Also, not a COVID conscious. I am a BW rewards member and get emails saying company policy is masks, well no masks here!! Looked like they had a good breakfast, but did not feel safe going in room.

The room was clean & nice. The breakfast was really good. NO problems to mention. The check in people were nice & efficient. We had onsite parking with good lighting also. The room was really quiet to get a good night of sleep.

We have stayed at this exact location many times due to our business venture in Kearney. The staff is amazing at helping our needs. If anything ever goes wrong (such as a toilet clogging up!), the staff is quick to assist. Stay here! You won't regret it!

The entire hotel was very clean, including my room. I had to use the washing machine and the laundry facilities were fine. The following morning breakfast was hot (sausage and eggs) and there were ample options for me. The wi-fi was good. I didn't use any other amenities, however the pool/spa/gym were all open. :-)

Loved this hotel from beginning to end. Spoke with Adam to make our reservation since we had a small dog and my husband is 6'5" we also needed a king bed. (It can be difficult to make an online reservation and ensure you get exactly what you need.) Adam hooked us up! We had a beautiful, first floor king room that was close to the exit to accommodate our dog's needs. The best part was, the room didn't have that "pet friendly room" odor that is sometimes present in other hotels. Check in was quite possibly the smoothest check in I have ever experienced in all our years of travelling. It took a total of 2.5 minutes. I gave my name and was handed 2 key cards, informed which door would be best to park by, what time breakfast was and the times and location of the pool and fitness center. The room was VERY clean and comfortable, with plenty of space to move around. Bed was comfortable and the temp was perfect. It was also extremely quiet. The shower ranks up there in the top 5 hotel showers I've experienced. Great water pressure and an adjustable shower head. I was confused at first why there were 2 fan buttons, however when I stepped out of the shower, I realized one of the "fan" buttons actually turned on a heater in the ceiling right in front of the tub. It was great to not have that chill when stepping from a warm shower. Breakfast was standard with waffle maker, scrambled eggs and sausage, hot and cold cereals and breakfast breads. The pool area looks clean and inviting, as did the fitness center. All staff we spoke with were incredibly friendly, informative and welcoming. We will definitely put this hotel at the top of our list of places to stay in Kearney!

Our room smelled strong of deodorizer. In fact it was so strong it made my eyes sting. I could not stay in the room and asked to be moved. The deodorizer did not seem as strong in the second room, but it was very strong as well. Windows did not open. Room did not feel clean" I looked closer and saw coffee drips on the counter, as if it had not been cleaned. The bed also seemed slept in, and hair was on the sheets. I left to get another room at a different hotel in the town because it was late and a big storm was coming in. I immediately called Priceline and complained, but Best Western plus did not refund my money. I travel several times a year for work and fun, and have not complained about a hotel in several years. The heavy use of deodorizer usually indicates poor cleaning practices. During the Covid-19 era, this is particularly troubling.

Breakfast area was fairly clean and adequately staffed. During this time of COVID food should not be self-serve. Other patrons were not wearing masks while dishing their food; utensils were handled by everyone, including children; food was open and handled by children and adults. Sleeping room was fine. Plug-in for electric car would make it more desirable.

The Manager, Kelly was great!! I was there for a family funeral, Kelly gave the group a special rate for the family and friends as well as offered the meeting room for the family to gather if needed. This hotel has everything that you need!!

Finding it necessary to travel a long distance during a pandemic, I find the quality of lodging even more important than usual. This Best Western had very nice facilities, and everything in the room was very clean and functional. But more importantly to me, a couple of front desk employees went out of their way to resolve a problem (caused by my mistake) with my online reservation. They were professional, efficient, and kind. As a result, my stay here was great, and I highly recommend this property!

Stopped in for a night while on a memorial weekend road trip.. Since I stayed here in Sept 2019 and had a pleasant experience, I knew this is where we would stay in Kearney .. We were greeted at the front desk by a nice young lady with a smile behind a plastic shield.. and were given a nice clean room.. Because of the covid, rooms were available and very clean.. there was no more than 20 cars in the lot... it was quiet room.. nice size tv and plenty of channels.. I should add this is a fairly new hotel.. and yes, if I find myself in Kearney and need a room, I will stay here again!

This particular hotel is above all the expectations, especially the people at the front desk, they were of great service. The condition of the room was great, very clean and up to date. The room brought a homey feeling. I was pleasantly surprised.

I was in town for the Sandhill Crane migration. This hotel was very convenient for all of my needs in Kearney. They are numerous restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping opportunities near-by as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The two most important things for me are a comfy bed and a good shower...both of these were top notch. I will definitely stay here again on future trips to Kearney.

This is our second time staying at this BW - and it's outstanding!! Five stars from these Broadway stars. Cast and Orchestra members loved the cleanliness, super beds, great shower, and superb service from the hotel staff. Hot breakfast was much appreciated too.

We chose this hotel because it's pet friendly and had good reviews. The front desk person was very nice and helpful. When we got to our room it seemed decent. Didnt smell bad or anything. There was a lot of long black hair in the shower, a d I dont think it was cleaned before we got there. The beds weren't very comfortable and the pillows were horrible. The tv remote wasnt working and the heat/air unit was very unpredictable. We even turned it completely off but the air conditioner kept coming on. To be fair, we did not report it to the front desk bc we weren't in the room much anyways. The breakfast was only from 6-9 so we only made it down there one time. We were there 4 days and our room wasnt serviced at all because the housekeeping always came around 8am when we were still sleeping. This was my first experience staying at a Best Western so I dont have anything to compare it to. I would probably find a different hotel next time.

My wife and I decided to stop driving a bit earlier this particular day. We were early enough to enjoy the manager's welcome event from 5:00-7:00 pm. It included some light snacks, beer and wine. We exercised in the exercise room, used the pool and spa. We enjoyed our stay, the staff was friendly and the room and facilities were clean,

This was a very nice place to stay. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The breakfast was the usual fare but nice. The beds were very comfortable. The front desk people were knowledgeable and very friendly.

Great staff at this location. Very helpful with activities near by. Great location, was unaware of this property but will stay again in the future. Like the layout and decor of the property. Staff also upgraded my guest room without my request to do so. Awesome!!!!

Our stay was definitely more than average! We had planned on a one night stay as we passed through on our way home to Colorado, but it ended as more when we had car trouble. Without help from the Hotel Manager with a call to the local towing service, it may have been longer. We appreciated the staff's extra halp and kindness while we waited for the repairs. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable even though our stay went beyond checkout. We recommend them with high regards. The nearby Skeeters was good too, and within walking distance! Thank you again to the Best Western Plus Staff!

We have stayed at Best Western Plus many times and always found them to be exceptional. This is not the case with this hotel. Cleanliness of the room was poor. Breakfast was not good. Very little selection. Eggs tasted like cardboard, no flavor at all.

Comfortable, friendly, clean, welcoming Hotel, in a great location for food and beverage choices. Highly recommend Best Western as a Hotel that cares about their guests, be the two or four legged. Great stop!

It's a good place to stay. Rooms are clean and property well kept, but the room heater was old and very loud. It turned on and off too much, waking us up. Breakfast was good but on weekends they don't start breakfast until 7am. For those traveling on weekends and need to leave before 7am dont get the benefit.

I stayed in the long term suites for 2 1/2 months when relocating to Kearney. These are more like very nice apartments with tons of amenities. Very comfortable, convenient and an amazing staff too! Would highly recommend!

Great place to stay. It's the only place we stay when we travel through Kearney. It's always clean and a friendly staff. The happy hour is a nice touch before you go to the room for the night. Breakfast is also good. I recommend this Best Western over all the others we've stayed at

Kearney was our halfway point between Colorado and Iowa and we couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at the Best Western Plus. I understand they had a happy hour, which we did not attend. They also had an expansive breakfast buffet in the morning. Our two queen room was large and the beds were comfortable. The shower was also outstanding! The bathroom was nicely appointed. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The stay was pleasurable. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and polite. The room was clean and comfortable and the evening snacks were a nice touch. We will definitely return to this motel if we return to Kearney!

Great stay, location was convenient, close to restraunts and shopping centers, staff was very helpful, rooms were very clean, and nicely decorated, the grounds of the building were very clean, nice pool and hot tub

After a day of riding a motorcycle on two lane hwys in Kansas and Nebraska, I decided to head to Kearny NE to get a room for the night. and found this new looking Best Western, using the BW app I reserved a room at a good price.. was greeted by a nice young lady who checked me in, the room was nice size, comfortable and quiet.. Cable TV very good WIFI.. the breakfast was ok, waffles, eggs, bacon, cold cereal.. juice and coffee.. it was a pleasant place to spend the night the bathroom was a nice size..

This hotel was extremely clean and every staff member I encountered was incredibly pleasant including the housekeeping staff. The only negative issue I have is that they should focus more of their efforts on recycling. I saw hundreds of items being thrown out that should have been put into recycling containers but none were available. Otherwise, this hotel was top notch!! I would absolutely recommend it.

Very nice hotel. Comfortable beds. Four pillows per bed. Bathroom all in one room. A/C was fine. The room was quiet. It was clean. From 5 - 7 pm they had a complementary reception. Wine, beer, soda, chips/salsa, barbecue meatballs, crackers, cheese. Friendly staff, especially Adam. Easy access to rooms. Breakfast - scrambled eggs, yopgurt machine, sausage patties, waffles, breads, cereals, Gluten free cereal, sweet rolls, muffins. Clean. We would definitely return.

Found the shower area had hair of different colors. Tub would not drain. Showers were limited to water reaching top of tub. This is an old remodeled Ramada. This was a Hotwire special for Scottsbluff.

Very nice, high-quality hotel. Lobby is spacious and well-appointed, rooms very comfortable and clean. We used the guest laundry room, as we had been on the road a few days. Went for a swim and soak in the hot tub ( next to the pool) while our clothes were in the washer and dryer. Breakfast was good, always look forward to full breakfast at Best Westerns.

Property looked very nice and the lady checking us in was very nice. Once in the room everything looked decent until 140am when I was woke by 2 crickets crawling around in the bed. Killed them and went to the bathroom to wash up and realized there were ants all over my luggage. Reported it to the front desk clerk at check out and was offered a $20 discount. No manager available. Email sent to corporate awaiting response

Overall I had the anticipated experience of staying at a Best Western. However, the frequently failing WiFi connection was annoying and frustrating. For the very first time after having stayed at Best Westerns across the US I found both live and dead roaches in the bathroom. Gross!

I have stayed here 3 times prior & every time has been top notch. The staff is quick to please & the rooms are new, carpeted & clean. They are pet friendly & very accommodating. I have tried posting positive reviews to the BW review emails but can't seem to complete the process due to some technical issues I guess so chose this medium to post a well deserved positive review.

Lobby and breakfast room were nice. Room was clean and comfortable. Prefer a high toilet and a grab bar in the shower but managed okay. I like the partial tile floor in the entryway of the room. GPS had trouble finding the hotel - wanted us to u-turn instead of continuing on the street.

Heading home and needed a place to stay. Many of the hotels in the area are under construction or closed due to a July flood. We got a nice room and were able to relax. The hotels in this area were expensive, but probably due to the flooded buildings. Pool and hot tub were nice after a long drive. Breakfast was also good.

What a wonderful place to settle down for the evening after being on the road all day. Free beer, wine and soda was offered between 5-7pm with finger foods. What a relaxing way to spend the evening. The room was spotless and everything worked perfectly.

After a long drive you want to get off the highway fast, and have comfortable place to relax and sleep. This location provided all that. Staff is friendly, hotel is clean, beds very comfortable and quiet enough to provide a great night's sleep. Breakfast area was well monitored with a variety of hot and cold items to choose from. Clean room, helpful friendly staff. Quiet night's sleep. We were traveling with my elderly mother who has limited mobility. The room was large and easy to manage with her mobility difficulties. We had a large handicap equipped shower and the bathroom was also roomy. The only thing that surprised us was it was a little bit of a walk down the hallway but my mother managed it fine, however, someone with more mobility issues than she might have a little trouble, but it was close to the breakfast room which was nice.

Comfy beds, excellent staff and tasty breakfast. Conveniently located off highway. Staff working breakfast still accommodated guests arriving after breakfast ended, been to other places where they start shut down 15 minutes or more prior to end. Great service

Good curb appeal, attractive reception desk, all staff were friendly, pleasant and helpful. We booked on line the day before our stay and took the last available room which was disability accessible...first floor, large room, quiet even close to the pool/ exercise areas. Bathroom was very large. Only drawback: shower. We found the curtain did not keep the water in the shower. I had water outside the end of the shower....may be a hazardous situation. Loved that we always had hot water. The beds & pillows: beds very comfortable, pillows not so much. Neither of us could find the right comfort level even though there were 8 pillows. The sheets were thin and frayed, the towels could use updating. Room was very clean and spacious. Remote was in a sanitized pocket. Watched very little TV while there. Breakfast: Room was pleasant and well attended to by staff. We like hot food items. My husband and I both had the eggs & bacon (okay but better elsewhere). Used yogurt toppings for my waffle and loved it. A new feature was the yogurt bar with a large variety of toppings. Thankful for shredded cheese and salsa for the eggs which are not always provided. Overall our breakfast experience was positive. We did not leave hungry. Conveniently located south of I-80. Pleasant experience, would stay there again. Gave it a very good rating because of the thin and frayed sheets, less than white towels, the eggs, paper clips to keep the curtains closed (which they provided).

This is the best hotel we have stayed at in the past couple years. Best Western is our go to hotel chain and this was a pleasent surprise. Bed extra comfy, high end breakfast, room confortable, internet worked great apose to other BestWestern. You will not be disappointed with this Best Western.

After not getting much sleep the night before and then driving 9 hours to stay at this BW in Kearney I was most certainly pleased to find a nice cool room with a nice comfy bed and no annoying noises. I got an excellent nights sleep. The breakfast room was good as well. I will definitely stay at this location again.

We have driven from California to Michigan back and forth Spring and Fall for 4 years. On recent trip we discovered Best Western Plus in Kearney, Nebraska. Close to freeway--very clean, well managed, large rooms, and pet friendly. There are now also many other motels and food franchises at Kearney exit--all located together and close to freeway for easy access. Nice grocery store up the street for microwave alternatives for in the room dining.

I'm not actually sure that the hotel is new, but it does look new in terms of cleanliness, decor, carpeting and external appearance. In addition, the service was excellent with particular emphasis on the breakfast staff, although all staff members were friendly and efficient, We were very impressed and would certainly stay in this hotel if our travels took us back to this area in the future.

This hotel was conveniently located, although a little hard to access at night if you don't know the area. Prices were very good and the rooms were clean. Front desk clerk was absent for more than fifteen minutes while several folks waited to check in. She finally appeared with a plate and said she was on a dinner break. WTF? I've traveled regularly for more than thirty-five years and have never encountered that at a hotel front desk. Terrible service.

By using the corporate web site you are sent to a 3rd party site, Get-A-Room. This company appears to be Best Western but is not and charges you outragous service fees without your knowledge. There is simplay a line on the form, buried in the terms and conditions that says fees may apply, there is no indication of the amount. The fees were more than one day stay at the hotel. Best Western corporate offers no assistance and supports the 3rd parties practice of deceptive marketing. The hotel in Kearney was clean, well maintained and a helpful staff. If you want to stay there, call the hotle directly to make your reservation.

Booked this hotel for extended family Christmas party. They upgraded the room we celebrated in to accommodate us. The younger folks enjoyed the pool. The accommodations were comfortable for the rest of us to visit and enjoy time together. Breakfast was a treat, great yogurt bar.

Everyone was friendly, the pool and hot tub area was nice, and the breakfast was above average. My kids loved the yogurt parfait station! The rate was affordable, especially for the quality of the hotel.

I love this place, easy in and out. Very friendly, my got to place when driving through the state to CO. The rooms are comfy and the staff is good to work with. Other places are close to this but this is the one I always choose.

Fall in the Mid-West and it had rained all day. Kearney Best Western was such a welcome sight at the end of the day. Warm, safe and dry place with a smiling face that greeted us, "Welcome to Best Western". Water, water and water all day and the first thing the grandkids wanted to know was where is the pool grandpa.....thank you Best Western everything was great.

We all over the US. Stayed in Best Westerns when available. Only available in the Western part of the US. So not always in the areas that we travel. But if they were we probably stay with them..Love the fact that they are pet friendly.

I was driving across country to take my daughter back to college and picked this one out to stay at the end of day one. Nice up to date, clean room, and good breakfast. (Good not great -eggs were A little off flavor). Did the yogurt machine and the toppings - nice touch . Great hotel close to the highway.

We have come to expect a clean room in a good location with a pool and a hot tub. This one delivered on all counts. And it was a very good value. BW and BW plus have been very consistent over the years and you can usually feel confident and safe staying at one.

We had two rooms adjoining which worked out great. We were close to lobby, so by Breakfast room and a Pool. Even with ball teams in hotel, we slept wonderfully. The kids had a blast in the pool and Breakfast was the usual fair at hotels. But well stocked and nicely taken care of by staff. Would stay here again no question asked.

If you're staying at a BW, you know what to expect.....a decent no frills room, and really nothing that makes you say "WOW", but on the flip side anything that will make you frown. Good size room with 2 queens. I thought the outlet situation was a bit odd, but that's IMO. Room has a fridge and microwave, a work table, small flat screen TV, 3-drawer dresser, luggage rack, closet, good size bathroom with shower, and decent amenities. We were on the 1st floor, right around the corner from the smoking gathering area which, was gross, but I did just book this room the day before. A pretty nice manager's reception from 5-7, with some chips and dips, sodas and beer (Lite, Bud Light and Ultra) will probably be what I remember most. Breakfast looks like it might be a nice spread with danishes, cereals, and 2 hot plates (looks like scrambled eggs and sausage patties for tomorrow). Also a small workout room and a good sized indoor pool. I'd have NO trouble staying here again.

We rolled into town late on a family road trip. The staff was friendly and did a great job of taking care of us. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a nice spread. Nothing super special, but a great place to decompress after a long day on the road.

We really liked the Best Western plus and it is now pet friendly. The staff is great and we even got a dog goody bag. The room was very good and quiet. The internet was very good. We will definitely stay here on our way back.

Best motel we've stayed in for a LONG time. Nothing to suggest or complain about. Quiet, clean, solid structure with good furnishings and linen. Written TV channel guide provided (most motels don't do this). Afternoon snacks very nice. Front desk very anxious to please.

We checked in last Tuesday night. It was convient to where we needed to be. Check in was a breeze. When we entered the hallway from the back entrance you really could smell the air freshener (I guess that's what it was) very strong, but thankfully the room didn't have the over whelming scent. The bed was extremely comfortable. Bathtub/bathroom was quite small but sufficient. Wifi was very good. Glad we had bottled water as I thought the water tasted horrible. Breakfast the next morning was not quite as nice as other Best Western's we have been to. I had thought about staying here on our return trip from Wisconcin but the breakfast made me choose something else.

Check in was a breeze...very friendly staff. Room was appointed nicely, the bed was very comfy and had everything I come to expect at a BW+. Loved the pool and hot tub. The grounds outside were so well groomed and clean. Oh, did I forget to mention the "goodies" in the early evening?? Yeah, wine, sodas, beer and really good munchies. So nice way to take the edge off of a long day driving....the breakfast in the AM was GREAT and just what you need to get another day off to a good start!!!! Thank you BW+!!!!

This was my first time in Nebraska and this hotel was excellent. The rate was reasonable. All of the staff members were friendly and helpful. My room was big and spacious and clean. The hotel is in a quiet location. There are a lot of stores and restaurants nearby for added convenience. The hotel is easily accessible from I-80 at Exit 272. I will definitely stay here again

I didn't realize that lodging would be such a challenge but there were very few rooms left anywhere when I arrived in town late one afternoon and the prices were high. I am a loyalty program member and that helped - they were willing to work with me and I got a room. Since I was interested in the cranes lifting off in the morning it was very nice that the breakfast was out, nice and hot food before 6 am. Thank you so much to the staff at this hotel. I got to see the cranes in the evening and morning.

This hotel was open late and provided comfortable up-to-date room. Breakfast the next morning was hot, fresh, and delicious. Friendly helpful staff. My $10 off Best Western certificate was gladly accepted and promptly applied.

This Best Western is a great location for anyone who wants to attend the Sandhill Crane Festival. Book 4 to 6 months in advance of the festival. I wanted to stay there on March 21 but they were already sold out and I called 3 months in advance. On a Wednesday night! This is far enough away from the busy Holiday Inn and Convention Center. When I went to the Holiday Inn to meet my tour bus, there were 3 conventions going on simultaneously. Talk about noise and confusion! I was glad I did not stay at this Holiday Inn. The front desk staff is very helpful. One suggested a restaurant in town called, The Egg and I. What a great choice! The room was clean although the mattress was softer than I am used to. Carpeting looked new. Room smelled good which was a relief compared to another hotel I stayed at on Grand Island. I forgot some personal hygiene items and the front desk gave me extras at no charge. They have Hazelnut coffee in the lobby 24 hours a day which I really appreciated. They also offer a complimentary breakfast which was adequate, but nothing special. It's the standard fare most hotels that offer breakfast have. Enough to get people out the door and save the expense of buying breakfast somewhere else. I would recommend having the breakfast available from 6 to 10 am instead of 9 am. Also it would be nice to have fresh fruit available in the lobby for guests who miss the breakfast or arrive late. I appreciate the fact that the Best Western hotels still give you the option to cancel 24 hours or more in advance without penalty. Some hotels have switched to 48 hours. If I visit Kearney again, I will definitely stay at the Best Western.

We were on the road and walked in and luckily they had a room available. Very clean and quiet. The front desk was very helpful. There was a kids birthday party in the pool area, so that was kind of loud, but it didn't carry into the hotel. The breakfast was hot and delicious and they served till 10 am on Saturday. We would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here on our trip to Kearney to view the Sandhill crane migration. The hotel is in a good location close to the interstate, which allowed for easy access. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was quiet and clean; the beds were comfortable. Our room was close to an exit, so we did not have to carry photography gear too far. We took advantage of the Grab & Go breakfast bag since we had to leave the hotel at 4:30 am (before the buffet opened). The bags consist of a muffin, apple, yogurt, and water. It was enough to tide us over until lunch and was quite convenient. The staff does not pack the bag in advance, which was a problem one morning when we overslept. We had enough left over from the previous day, so it was no problem. There is coffee in the lobby; however, I thought there should be hot water for us tea drinkers. Recommended!

The best western plus is a great place to stay. It is easy to walk to the Ice center and not have to find parking. The staff were friendly and helpful about where to find things around Kearney Neb. Breakfast was fresh and a large assortment.

We were thankful to get off the road just before 2am. I have stayed at this hotel before and never had an experience like the one we had this past weekend. Just after 3:15 am, my husband was woken by a loud rapping sound. As it was a windy night, he thought it might be something from outside. He went back to sleep only to be woken again. I first heard it at 6am and it continued off and on for over an hour. Finally we got up and went to have breakfast. When we returned to the room, the noise was gone. When I reported the noise to the front desk when I checked out, the only thing the clerk had to say was that it was "usually" quiet in that end of the hotel. They did nothing. Not even an apology. Needless to say, we will not be returning.

Very quiet, comfortable beds, they were able to accommodate the need for adjoining rooms, hot water, good shower pressure. Rooms were very spacious, ample parking if pulling a trailer. Would stay again.

Stayed here for one night on business. Brought my family along and our suite was perfect. This was our second stay in the suites here. Staff was very friendly and property clean. Manager reception was a nice touch with completentary drinks. Our room had full kitchen , queen and king bedrooms with walk in closets, his and her sinks with showers. Breakfast was stocked, and really clean. We will stay here every visit to Kearney.

I stay only at best westerns, on my road trip from Chicago to Utah this one was was the best. Adam at front desk was really awesome. He had a soul and personality lol. Unlike most hotels. He told me all about this area and how people come from all over to watch birds try and get laid. The hotel was nice! Nice wood furniture and it was big. The bathroom had a ceiling heater for after a shower, never seen that before. Everything was clean. Everything. Housekeeping does great here. Breakfast was amazing. Lots of choices and good food. Even lots of sweet options to satisfy my sweet tooth! Like cinnamon sugar packets! Who does that?! These guys do! Overall fantastic place with great service. OH and the pool looked really nice too! It was 4 degrees outside or I'd of considered it lol.

After a long day's drive, snowy weather began to make hazardous roads. It was difficult to identify the roadway to the hotel due to blowing snow. The parking lot and sidewalks were quite messy and slippery but it was perfect inside. The room was beautiful, exceptionally clean, and very quiet, even though the hotel was quite busy. Definitely would recommend!

Good location and we have returned back. Friendly staff were very helpful and it is a good value. Enjoyed the fitness room with a nice treadmill, tv and overhead fans. We will go back again. Many nearby restaurants

Stopped here ahead of a winter storm without a reservation. The storm blew through overnight, and we are on our way the next day. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The free hot breakfast the next morning was the usual hotel fare (eggs, bacon, waffles, cereals, pastries, coffee and juice). I felt the room was a tad overpriced. Only detractor for me was that there was no elevator to my room.

I often choose Best Western or a similar hotel while en route driving, particularly because of the convenience of the complimentary breakfast. This was a good stay; my only complaint was for some large dark smudges on the ceiling in the bathroom which were unpleasant. Large enough to be seen by cleaning staff, although they probably aren't taught to take care of ceilings. Yet particularly in the bathroom, it needs to be a clean space.

Room was great but huge storm hit shortly after we checked in. TV was giving warnings by county but not being from Nebraska we didn't know the county name. Felt perhaps the front desk could have warned guests of the impending storm. Due to the storm, electricity was out all evening and was still out when we checked out, so of course there was no TV, hot water for showers, and no breakfast etc. My biggest concern was the lack of lighting in the hallways. Checked several times during the night and hallways were pitch black with no exit lighting. Apparently there was no back up generators. Finally in the morning someone had brought tiny lanterns and marked the stairs. We were never contacted by employees to see if we needed any type of assistance. When we left in the morning I indicted we had some concerns and a young man took our phone number and told me the management would contact us but no one ever called. Felt their emergency planning was seriously lacking.

We make regular trips from Wisconsin to Colorado and back. On our way out we stay in Kearney. I am a BW regular so we tried this place on our first trip and our subsequent ones. Staff: friendly and helpful. Facilities: Very clean, good beds. Amenities: great wifi, microwave and refrigerator in rooms. This franchise is locally owned and managed. We have availed ourselves of the pool or exercise but they appear well appointed and maintained.

Includes manager happy hour, large pool and hot tub. Warm and quiet. Beautiful rooms at a very reasonable price. Ample parking close to rooms. Modern luggage carts. Easy access to I-80. Best place to overnight in Kearney, IMHO.

The staff at check in do everything they can to make your stay comfortable and convenient. The beds are comfy, pillows are fluffy. The room has everything you need for a night or weekend away from home. Hot tub is fantastic. Full breakfast.

Convenient to interstate, yet no traffic noise was heard. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Rooms were clean and roomy, with comfortable beds and pillows. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool after 11 hours on the road! Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold foods. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

This hotel is just off the interstate, but it is also very quiet for sleeping. Rooms have been renovated and have comfortable beds. Coffee is available in lobby at check in. Breakfast is included with hot and cold options available. Convenient place to stay while travelling.

The room was clean and had nice appointments. I could hear the people staying on the second floor above me walking around but they did not keep me awake. Breakfast the next day wasn't serves until 7:00 a.m. but the young man at the desk made me a nice "to go" bag at 5:30 a.m. I will probably stay here again.

This was a very clean hotel. The rooms were large and well decorated. The phone was on top of the refrigerator cabinet across the room from the bed. That seemed a bit strange. All in all this was a great place to stay at a good value. WARNING: check your bill before you leave. I had some travel card numbers I wanted applied and they weren't. After I brought it to their attention it was corrected. I wanted a copy showing that my Visa had been credited the money I was charged and never got that. I would stay there again.

Just an old hotel in need of an upgrade. The room was okay, bed comfortable, bathroom clean - so the essentials were there. The exercise equipment was either broken or sticky/dirty, weak coffee, ordinary breakfast

We enjoyed our stay at Best Western Plus Mid Nebraska Inn & Suites, Kearney, Nebr. The motel and staff were user friendly. We would stay there again. The motel was easy to find. We enjoyed he hot breakfast in the morning before we set out on our travels.

My husband and I went across country to visit my parents and this was a wonderful spot in the midst of our trip. Rooms were well appointed, and it was close to restaurants and gas and the highway. Would most definitely recommend anyone to stop in.

We felt welcomed and taken care of by everyone in the staff there. The room was exceptionally clean and very nicely appointed. It was the nicest BW I've seen and I travel quite a lot.

Management and staff were excellent and very accommodating. Any time we asked to be able to use the dining area for small group break away sessions there was no hesitation to accommodate our request. The staff made sure to check in and make sure that water and caffeine was stocked in our main meeting room at all times!

I'm so pleased I came back to stay in Kearney - Six years ago I had a very unfortunate bad experience at a Best Western hotel in Kearney, long since gone I hasten to add - significantly the building was demolished a couple of years ago. So uncomfortable in fact that I decided to write to the manager - to my pleasure I received a reply offering me a free nights stay any time I was back. I honestly didn't think I would be, but my current research and work did in fact mean I would need to stay over again in Kearney. So I wrote to the manager asking to redeem the promise she had made. To my delight Kelly Krier is still the manager of a Best Western Plus - and it is a much newer facility with really well fitted out rooms and suites. Kelly immediately acknowledged the previous situation and said of course come stay with us for free! So I suggested the date I was looking for and we were all set. Just before my stay my situation changed and I actually needed two nights (the second one I would cover the cost for. So I called and the staff were again great- and without any fuss at quite short notice I was all set. Upon arrival the receptionist informed me that I had been upgraded to a suite for both nights and again she was friendly and efficient in every respect. I cant say enough how at home and comfortable my stay has been - I'm certain that I'll stay here when I'm back through this way in the spring.

Based on the reviews here I was hoping for a much better outcome. Keep going if you can. Traveling across the country with twins, a hotel was my saving grace at the end of the day and this hotel just made it that much rougher. Unfortunately everything in this area was booked the day I was planning to arrive so I decided to give Best Western a shot having stayed in one just a few months back. This was far from my last BW experience. As soon as I walked down the hall, the musty, old smoke smell hit me. The room was even worse. There was a roach on the bathroom floor. I asked for a crib and was given a pack n play stained from stop to bottom and told they do not have sheets. The bed/sheets were clean, the tv worked and the managers reception were a nice reminder not to get back in the car and keep going.

This was a good place to stay. Rooms very clean and modern. Breakfast had many choices and quality of food was good and displayed well. Close restaurants in the vicinity for meals other than breakfast.

My husband and I took my elderly parents to Kearney and spent the night so they could see the solar eclipse. The hotel was packed with other visitors there for the same reason. I was impressed with the kindness and efficiency of the staff with my parents as well as with the kindness and efficiency staff took with other visitors who demanded a lot of attention from the staff. Kudos to a very efficient staff. The breakfast staff also did a great job considering all the visitors descending upon them at the same time and eating as if they were starved!!

Clean rooms, staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good but breakfast room lacked in seating. Good hotel for the money. Just enough off the busy section of town that allows for a quiet experience. Affordable hotel.

Stopped here last year on our way back from IL and again this trip. Easy off and back on to the Interstate. Nice sized room, comfortable bed, micro/frij/coffee pot available, wifi worked fine, manager's reception with beer, soda, wine and snacks was a bonus! Only drawback was the roadway into the motel was in bad need of repair! We will stay again next time through.

Very nice place for our family reunion. Handicapped rooms are just perfect for those of us in wheelchairs! Breakfast bar was great! Nothing but outstanding to say about this stay! Employees very helpful and went out of their way to accommodate our family reunion, I would recommend this motel to anyone that wants a very clean nice place to stay for one night or a week!

This inn has one of the best beds we have sleep in. The room was clean, the amenities were sufficient, and the internet was adequate. The breakfast was delicious. It included excellent scrambled eggs, sausage, and very good coffee. The items were kept stocked so there was never an opportunity to be depleted due to the several guests. We were pleased with is portion of stay. Ck-in was quick and friendly. Ck-out was equally efficient. We would seek out this inn again if given the opportunity.

Such a nice place to stay in Kearney Nebraska! The hotel is newly remodeled, and super clean. The staff is very friendly and the pool is nice too! I highly recommend this hotel for a business trip or a fun family trip. Kearney is a nice town with lots to do and places to visit!

Checked into this property Sep 7th for one night, as we were finishing up our Nebraska Passport 2017 tours. The desk clerk was very polite and friendly, and upon seeing that we had a service dog with us, put us very near an entrance. The whole place looks like it has been recently updated. New carpeting, furniture, tiles in the bathroom, all very nice. Quiet room also!

Room was very nice and clean. The location was away from the action of the city but the room was quiet and comfortable. The location was close to the interstate which made it easy to find. I was not able to connect my laptop to the wifi but I was able to get my phone and Kindle Fire connected.

Room was spacious and clean. Updated decor in rooms and lobby, very welcoming. Very convenient to I-80 travelers. Fitness center and a very nice pool available. Breakfast was very good. Hot and cold items available, fresh and tasty. Staff friendly and accomadating. Only negative was very soft pillows and a mattress pad that easily wrinkled and became uncomfortable.

We stayed here for one night. Our room was on third floor. Jess at check in was so friendly and helpful. The property was very clean and well maintained. Our room was a two bedroom suite, king room with his and her sinks, shower and toilet and big walk in closet. Bedroom was separated by oak sliding door into den/work area which followed into spacious living room and large kitchen with fridge. Queen bedroom at his and her sinks with separate bathroom and HuGE walk in closet. Would HIGHLY recommend the Suites on third floor! Pool and breakfast were also great. Definitely would stay here again!!

Th property looks typical/average from the outside, but inside it appeared recently renovated. Room was attractive. Beds were very comfortable. On interstate 80 but we did not hear traffic noise. Breakfast was average. Entrance is on a service road. Property is next to an out-of-business gas station, so on approach we were concerned it was rundown. We were pleasantly surprised. Staff were friendly. Parking was convenient to room. If in Kearney, would consider this property again.

I chose this hotel from guest reviews and pictures. After a few hours on the road, I was looking forward to a good nights rest before an early shoot in the morning. Much to my surprise, I had been upgraded to a King Suite! The room was on a Secure floor which was accessible by key only! Already impressed, I entered the room to find it complete with a spacious FULL kitchen, complete with dishes, full size fridge, stove, oven, and dishwasher! (The only negative - remnants in the sink from the previous stay, and some of the glasses in the cupboard were not clean - but hey there was even soap for the dishwasher, so I just put them in the dishwasher!) The rest of the room was spacious and spotless! I was so impressed with this stay, I booked a second night! If you're driving through Nebraska, and you need a place to stay, PLAN to stay at this hotel! Put it on your itinerary! I know I will!

I've stayed at this hotel twice in the last few years, and I'm really happy with the price and the rooms. The beds are comfortable, the staff has always been professional and friendly, and the fitness center is very clean and up to date, as is the rest of the hotel. I did make the mistake of choosing a room on the first floor. Like many hotels, this property engages in the puzzling trend of having curtains that don't close. The opaque curtains didn't block out the glaring, digital red words on the sign (the one you can see in the picture). I also prefer to be naked (it's a habit; I live alone), but I don't want to traumatize anyone who might be walking by. So I had to get creative with the ironing board. I was so worn out from four days on the road (Or maybe I'm just lazy) I didn't put the ironing board back the next morning, leaving it to the cleaning staff (I leave tips, but I still feel a little bad about making peoples' jobs more difficult).

We were greeted with a smile and an upgrade. Not only does this hotel have a good breakfast, it had snacks and beverages in the evening for the guests. The place was clean and the service great. We were driving out west and glad that we stopped here for the night.

The staff could of been more helpful at check in. Couldn't lovate room and had other guest helping us while front desk watched. Never offered to help and I had to return to front desk and inquire where our room was.

Best Western in Kearney Nebraska is just like home. They have quick and easy check in and check out. Awesome staff. Feel safe and secure there. Very helpful employees. Good food, managers special M-Th. They always have the daily newspaper there for me

The room was clean but had an off smell and I liked the exhaust fan and heating lamp in the bathroom. The pool was very clean. And plenty of towels late on Saturday night. Whirlpool could have been warmer.

Reasonably priced hotel, clean & comfortable rooms, with a nice breakfast offering in the morning. Plenty of parking and not far off I-80. Plenty of rooms, next to Vaiero Convention Center. Eating places within walking distance.

From the people to the amenities, everything was great. Room was clean and appealing. Internet was fast. Breakfast was very good, but could have been more selections. More fruit. Would definitely recommend this location.

I enjoyed staying at the Best Western Plus Mid Nebraska this past July. The staff at check out was the most helpful, kind and courteous. I had left my daughter's conditioner in the shower and was offered a key without feeling that I was distracting her from her other booking obligations.

The Best Western Plus in Kearney was the best after a long day on the road. The room was clean and comfortable. The oversized chair in the room was the best - to relax in! The staff gave us the option of a 1st or 2nd floor room, which was appreciated. The hot breakfast in the morning was good, with a good variety of choices. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. If we ever pass through NE again, I would definitely stay there again!

Very clean & quiet. Friendly & professional staff. Wonderfully comfortable bed. Kearney is the halfway point on my 1,700 mile trek cross country. I had a great nights sleep and a good hot breakfast before hitting the road again. Thank you Best Western Plus Kearney! Location is great but entrance is a little tricky.

We stayed here one night while in town visiting family. The hotel was clean, the staff was very nice, and the room was good too. There is a free buffet but we left early and didn't try it. Parking is well lit and access in and out for RV's is good.

Traveling through from Colorado to Cleveland stayed one night, with our 7 person family. This was an amazing stay for the price!!! Clean rooms! Fantastic pool!! Huge breakfast!!! Highly recommended for families.

We were here with a group for a family reunion and the staff was very accommodating. We were able to visit with relatives from different states that we had not seen for a year. We visited the Archway and the Classic Car Museum. Kearney has lots of activities to offer and we will be back next year.

Great location and staff were very helpful, rooms were clean and neat and close to several dinner locations. Cocktails, cheese and crackers were great benefits after we checked in, breakfast in the am was very good.

Overflow hole in the bathroom sink was built up with mold and gunk....and rim of sink right under the counter was filthy.....I was surprised...In my experience, Best Western usually holds itself to a higher standard. It was inconvenient that I had to use the bathtub to wash my hands and brush my teeth.

This Kearney, Nebraska Best Western Plus hotel could easily be mistaken for a Marriott Fairfield and that's a compliment. I want to emphasize how comfortable the beds were. I'll say that a second time: I want to emphasize how comfortable the beds were. The bathroom is very nice. I liked the bathroom furniture, better soaps and shampoos, and other attention to detail. There were more choices for breakfast. Nice, gentle attendant name Donna, who seemed to have pride in her work. Donna suggested making a bagel, egg, and bacon sandwich which was very good. Donna actually let me put fresh blueberries in the waffle maker to cook them into the waffles. She said she sometimes stays open after breakfast hours to accommodate sports teams like the basketball team that was there with us. Donna's effort was worth giving her a tip.

I really enjoyed my last couple of visits at this motel. The rooms were very clean, well layed out and it was so quiet that night, I slept like a baby. Breakfast was not real extensive, but totally adequate and tasty. Staff was super polite and helpful.

Due to car troubles we arrived in the wee hours of the morning, and were still greeted and afforded the customer service we've come to expect from Best Western. We were quickly checked into a clean room so that we could get some sleep and be on our way.

The front desk was not friendly and barely acknowledged I was waiting to check in. This hotel requires many more points than what is published on the Best Western website to qualify for the different levels of their rewards program. The only other staff person we encountered ignored us as well. One positive note about this hotel experience was the barbecue restaurant that is very close.

I was looking for a good clean hotel in the Kearney, Nebraska area at a reasonable rate of $100.00 or less. This hotel delivered. It was easy access to I-80 with good clean room and amenities. I got a good night's rest and a good breakfast the next morning and was ready to greet the world.

We stayed there one night, on a cross country trip. Room was fine, lobby very nice and original, there is an indoor swimming pool that seemed popular, and the BREAKFAST IS OUTSTANDING for this price. North of the expressway, there is a nice mexican restaurant that is the best dinner choice. We would stay here again.

Did not use my rewards points for my stay and now have an overdrawn bank account! And they tell me 24/48 hours for a refund when they messed up and withdrew money that should not have been taken. Attention to detail is a must!

Great location right off the interstate. Very great value with great customer service at the front desk. The room was very clean and comfortable. Nice hot breakfast buffet was included. I would recommend staying at this facility if staying in this area.

Each visit was as pleasant as the last. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The rooms were always clean and equaled what I found in my own home. The free breakfast was bountiful, tasteful and eye-appealing. This location was like coming home after a long day of driving.

Our stay at BW Plus in Kearney NE was very nice, the only disappointing things was the Hot Tub was not working properly. Everything else was VERY GOOD. The Pool was nice, the workout room was satisfactory. Our room was CLEAN, & more than adequate. I would definitely stay here again!!!

Room was outdated and not as clean as some reviewers wrote ... when we left I noticed a big brown dirty spot on my husband's site of the bed - he didn't want to tell me the first time so I would not be grossed out ... I like to work out - the 3 machines should be replaced - treadmill finally worked but stopped 3 times in 5 minutes ... and 2 other machines were so outdated. They need healthier items for breakfast - fruit - plain yoghourt as a suggestion.

The room was very clean -- I appreciate that the white bedspread is washed after every visitor. I enjoyed using the pool and hot tub, and the breakfast is well-presented, with interesting toppings for the waffles that I don't see in similar motels.

On short notice decided to make a Quick trip to visit family. After driving 12 hours stoped at this BW Inn. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff very helpful at directing me to a local restaurant.

The bathroom was not clean. There was a spider in the bed. We had been staying here for years on our way to Colorado. We were so disappointed with this last stay that we will be using another hotel chain on our next trip.

I went in April to view the Cranes at Rowe Sanctuary. This hotel was about a 25 minute drive so was convenient. They also have a gas bar near by so that was handy. They are close to various restaurants in Kearney . I would stay here again

I would highly recommend this hotel. Friendly check in staff and check in was easy and efficient., /staff when asked shared some options of restaurants to have dinner at. The room was clean and had a nice decor. The bed was comfortable and pillows were medium consistency. Lighting was good and had comfortable sitting chair. The swimming pool was heated and the hot tub was great. The fitness room had four different cardio machines and a weight bars and bench. The breakfast was the best...cold orange and apple juices, waffles with cherry, strawberry, blueberry, and/or syrup for the toppings, scrambled eggs and bacon. Then of course the usual cold cereals, oatmeal, yogurt, pastries, toast, bagels. There was a nice selections of tea and the coffee of course. They even had appetizers, and beverages from 5 PM tl 7 PM, this was a great treat after a long day of driving.

I like to stay at this Best Western while traveling. Rooms are big, quiet, and generally clean. Easy on/off of freeway. Kearney also has a few great eating establishments. The staff is polite, and the billing accurate.

Original room smelled of tobacco smoke (this is a non-smoking facility but obviously a smoker disregarded that)- staff quickly found us a clean fresh room which we much appreciated. We needed a clean, quiet room with comfortable beds and this Best Western provided that for us.

Both rooms AC kept me up all night with the temperature up and down all night. I thought it was the room and changed rooms and the same issue. I could not run the fan constantly to try to maintain the rooms temperature.

Breakfast served on paper plates says all.....if you want real coffee you need to go to Starbucks. Pool was ok, the fitness center very small. Free parking OK, you need a car here. Close to the "citycenter".

We recently traveled from the mid west to the Washington coast, and down to the Redwoods and all places in between. On our way back,after a 12hr. drive we decided to stop in Kearney.we never researched here as we did other places to spend the night. We decided to stay at The Best Western, its location was great to our tired day of traveling,so we pulled in.up to our room and it was a very nice room, clean quiet everything you expect but rarely get.. Off into town for some shopping and supper. Once back at the Western we readied for sleep.We woke up in the mourning and looked at each other and each of our smiles said it all. They had the MOST comfortable beds we ever slept in at a hotel and no we don't do pricey places. This was so awesome we felt renewed! And we were ready to tackle the intensely dense fog that mourning for our journey home. If it wasn't for that great nights sleep it would of been more of a challenge. The breakfast tho small was nice along with the Java. If your though there and need rest, stop in I don't think you will be disappointed. Oh by the way we traveled July 2014 but the selection below didn't allow that selection.

This hotel was excellent in every way. Large, spacious, comfortable, modern lobby area. The room, the bed, the hot breakfast was great. The hotel has a wonderful indoor pool which is also nice in size. Not the typical small scale pool. The hotel staff was great also and the breakfast caretaker was always present to keep items amply supplied.

Always enjoy stopping at this Best Western. Is right on our way to Colorado as well as being located right off I-80. Rooms are always clean. Employees are always friendly and courteous. You are close to several nice places to eat and other local businesses.

We stayed here while my daughter had surgery. The Staff was terrific, the room very nice do not have any complaints. They made a stressful time much easier. Also appreciated the special rate for families staying due to medical services for a family member.

Stayed here for Senior Games in August 2016. It was something like $80 a night and came with a complete breakfast! The breakfast was open later then what it said it would be and was very relaxing! Room was clean with comfortable soft beds! We slept well.

This place is good for truckers. It has parking for trucks which a lot of places don't have. Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Rooms were clean and bed was very comfortable. Fast check out. Would stay here any time I'm going thru.

The Best Western Mid Nebraska is a great place to stop on our way West. This was our 3rd night there in the last 2 years. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are first class and the breakfast service was outstanding. I wish we were coming back along I-80 we would stay again.

In our long trip and many hotel stays this place takes the winner on most comfortable beds and pillow combination. The room was spacious and the front desk staff was cheerful and efficient. The housekeeping staff did a good job on cleaning those often missed corners and cabinet shelves. The room had a microwave, fridge, and single cup coffee maker. My only negative would be the not so pleasant breakfast attendant but she didn't out weigh the other great features here.

We always stay at this hotel when vacationing to CO. It is convenient and top notch. All staff is kind and professional. Hotel has easy access to I80. Rooms are spacious and clean. Front desk staff were so nice and helpful. It is close to restaurants for dinner.

This hotel is well taken care if. I booked online on the day of arrival ... we got in late. Our room was 'unavailable' so they out us in a king suite. It was like a mini apartment ...we were too tired to appreciate the accommodations ...l but we slept like babies! The breakfast could be improved ...we stayed here twice on this trip to Colorado and chose to eat breakfast elsewhere both times. The eggs did not look 'normal' ...slimy and in one piece. The breakfast lady was a bit grumpy the first time through.

Great pricing and room was modern and very clean with nice bedding and comfortable beds. Happy that the large heated pool and hot tub were open until 11:00 as we arrived a little late. Large selection at breakfast with friendly staff. We will make this our mid-day overnight stop each year. The main entrance is a bit hard to locate but it's worth the extra effort.

Very nice! Great price and the breakfast was good. Modern rooms and the bed was super comfortable! We will definitely look into best western plus on our next trip. In fact we wanted an early start and slept in a bit. Was a great night sleep.

The long haul across Wyoming, through Nebraska, and on into Iowa demands a rest. Kearney is a good place for that overnight stop. For our money, Best Western Plus is clean, convenient, and you get a breakfast to get you back on the highway. The rooms are clean and maintained. And be sure to leave a tip on the dresser, the maid staff deserves it.

Great hotel off the highway for your stay! we were on the way to Colorado and we wanted someplace in between to stay. There was also a great barb b-q restaurant near by for dinner, so we were very pleased we choose this hotel. Always try to stay at Best Westerns on our trips.

This hotel was quiet, with a clean room and bathroom. The staff were courteous and professional. There are numerous eating establishments nearby. The amenities provided by the hotel such as, breakfast, workout room, and pool are top notch.

This Best Western In Kearney, NE is new and is gorgeous. Iy is very conveniently located right off I80 but is still quiet and relaxing. The plugs in the room are abundant for your accessories. There are comfortable workspaces in the room and the lighting is good. The beds are comfortable and new - there is a selection of pillows. Breakfast was delicious and fresh and opened a bit early with a full selection for all ... There was fresh coffee available in the lobby for the early, early birds. I interacted with about 6 staff all were equally friendly and cheerful and all were efficient. I will be back next month,

I stayed at this Best Western Plus, and it certainly deserves the plus on it's title. This hotel was very clean with a large indoor pool along with an enjoyable hot tub. The rooms were large with comfortable beds. The bathroom was up to date including a dryer vent to dry our swim suits. Breakfast was adequate with good coffee along with hot eggs and bacon. I plan to stay here every time that I am passing through on I-80. I give this hotel an A++.

My husband and I were passing thru Kearney and stayed here last night. The hotel is right off I 80 and is close to restaurants and shopping. The property was super clean, including the room, exteior grounds, hallways and pool area. Our King room was spacious, and quiet with an amazingly comfy mattress. There is a refrigerator, and microwave in the room as well. The pool and hot tub area was very nice. The pool is quite large with lots of chairs. It a great area to chill with a book, and splash around for awhile. The breakfast hours are early, from 6 to 9 am. Haven't had breakfast yet, but I'm sure it won't disappoint since everything else has been wonderful. I would highly recommend this property as it is, clean, comfortable and in a good location. PS-They do have laundry facilities too!

Last Month on a motorcycle trip I stayed at this hotel on both outgoing and return trips. Friendly people, very helpful getting rags to wash the bugs off the bike. Great food within walking distance as recommended by the person at the desk. Good breakfast. Quiet room both nights. Would stay again

Having to travel from CA to NE, our trip was for unexpected family funeral. We received excellent support and assistance from General Manager and staff and the hotel services & room were exceptional too.

The area surrounding the hotel did not offer the best view. The hotel itself is nice-looking. While walking to the room, we noticed a very strong mildew smell in one part of the hallway. The further you got away, though, the fainter the smell. The room was okay, though for some reason, the phone and refrigerator were unplugged. Also, the phone was not on the nightstand, but on the other side of the room. Did not eat breakfast since it didn't smell very appealing, so can't really comment on that.

This hotel is conveniently located to the interstate and a variety of restaurants. It has a great breakfast, pool, fitness center and is very quiet and is very clean. It is within a 10 minute drive to the downtown area and University of Nebraska-Kearney campus.

Mediocre hotel. Bathroom was small and room felt congested. The entire hotel felt muggy and hallway smelled musty. Pool area was decent although there was a big dead black bug laying on the floor. Overall, I probably wouldn't stay at this one again.

traveling back to Arizona and made a decision to shorten one of our days driving. Made a reservation with the assistance of a wonderful front desk person. This is a beautiful motel, especially for being in Kearney, Neb. Sits away from the interstate which made it very quiet. Loved the room and the king sized bed. If we had any complaint at all it was the ac made a really loud noise when the fan kicked off. The room was well appointed and comfortable chairs and couch. Loved that they had a happy hour with some tasty snacks including cocktail wieners,dip and crackers and cheese. also gave you two beers or two glasses of wine. nice indoor pool and spa also. would highly recommend this to anyone. you won't be disappointed ..should note that motel has split level lobby to rooms with stairs...could be issue for handicapped or elderly

We stopped here for a short night of rest on a family road trip. This hotel was just off of the interstate. The staff member at the front desk was extremely friendly and greeted us with a warm smile. The rooms were large, clean and new. We had a great night of rest. My only complaint would be the slightly high rate for this location. After making the reservation I realized that we probably over paid. Overall, a great experience.

We stayed here overnight on our way back east. The room was well appointed and the bed very comfortable. We enjoyed sleeping in and still having time for breakfast. The free breakfast was one of the very best we have ever experienced. We highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

We had a king size bed which was very comfy. We stayed on the second floor which was very quiet. It could possibly be noisy on a weekend night but Sunday night was quiet. Our air conditioner was loud so we turned it off and slept with the window open. We did inform the front desk of the air conditioner noise. The room was good sized and clean. The bathroom was clean but small with a minimal amount of counter space. The breakfadt was the usual fare with scrambled eggs and bacon as the hot items. I would recommend this hotel for the price, comfort, and cleanliness.

This hotel is truly a hidden treasure for the weary traveler. It is close to I-80 and multiple restaurants/gas stations. The pool is HUGE and opens at 5 am! There is a nice fitness center. Breakfast is typical hotel breakfast. The employees are very helpful. The price is reasonable. This hotel is worth your money.

Met all expectations for a motel for two senior adults. Employees were responsive and courteous. Rooms were clean. Check-in and Check-out was efficient and courteous. Rooms were clean and trustworthy on first impression. Everything worked as labeled. Food was all we needed and expected. This motel fits our needs splendidly.

This is definitely the place to stop if you are looking for a motel in Kearney. We stopped after driving for over 12 hours and were ready for a good night's rest. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious and quiet. The breakfast was great! I would definitely stay in this place again.

We truly enjoyed our experience here. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. We had an unexpected perk upon arrival...snacks and drinks. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was good. In other hotels which serve breakfast, the opening time is a little loose, but this was 6:00 sharp. Overall, no complaints.

There is nothing bad to say about this hotel, the rooms (long term) have just been remodeled and are wonderful. the staff, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Maids are very good at what they do, and give the rooms a deep clean. this is definitely my first choice of a hotel the next time I am in time.

This was such a nice hotel. It seemed brand new with spacious rooms which were well appointed and clean. the breakfast was extremely complete, including scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, and all the usual cereal, hot cereal, drinks, toast muffins, sweet rolls. The workout room had new equipment, staff wonderful, eager to help. My only complaint is having to write 200 characters for this review to be printed!

Don't let Kearney's western Nebraska location fool you. Kearney is a growing community. There are some good restaurant choices not far from the Best Western plus. The only downside to this Best Western's location is that GPS devices will not direct you to it. The GPS takes you to a former location for one of BW's properties. Once you locate it, this is a good property with a nice pool and a large hot tub, and a very good workout room.

I believe this is the third stay in this property. All have been excellent stays. As always this Best Western property lived up to the Best Western Standard. Bed great, breakfast great, pool (indoor) great, exercise room great, guest internet room great. This property is located to the south of I-80. Just to the north of I80 is almost every restaurant type you could need. A couple miles further is Down Town Kearney with restaurants and various other establishments. We stopped in at the Cunningham Journal for their live band. As for tourist attractions their are many in the area but first most is the Great Platte River Road Archway Monument. This stretches across I-80 just a mile or so to the east of the hotel. It's not hard to spend a couple days there visiting all there is to see. So if your traveling I-80 east or west the Best Western Plus Mid Nebraska is a great place to take a brake from driving.

Had an amazing family time in the pool. Breakfast was well above average, way better than the standard continental breakfast options at other hotels. Eggs and sausage really hit the spot. Slept amazingly in the bed and would definitely come back. Felt at home during our stay here for our Grandmother's funeral.

Great stay. Kids loved the pool. Breakfast was really good. Room was clean and updated and met all of our needs. Very convenient to the interstate and attractions. Would highly recommend if needing accommodations in the Kearney area.

This was a great hotel for us as we traveled to Colorado. Close to the interstate but still quiet, good breakfast, great room at a good price. We will definitely stay there again. I'm particularly appreciative of the designations Best Western now gives its hotels. We also had a great experience at the Best Western Plus in Kingston, NY last summer.

We stayed in the suites. It was awesome. Two beautiful bedrooms and baths, kitchen, living room and office and a laundry room. Wonder staff and a great breakfast the next day. You will definitely enjoy your stay here!

We've stayed at the Best Western for about 5 years on yearly visits to Kearney. We stayed at others in town but the BW is the best in terms of rooms, parking, ease of access to I-80 and their breakfasts. Yes, their breakfasts are very good. Always hot food, plenty of room and people running that area that seem to care. The beds are soft, the rooms are clean and the bathrooms are as well. Everything works and you get a fridge and a microwave in your room. They also have an indoor pool and indoor hot tub. However, the hot tub is very much a kid magnet. We've noticed that unsupervised children are in it a lot despite the signs that prohibit this. kids under 5 are brought in, which can't be good and is actually against the law in Nebraska (per the other unread sign), So the pool area is great for families but not so much for adults who are trying to relax. They also have a nice exercise area and keep hot coffee available all day. We'll come back here.

This BW treats us like family. I enjoy kidding around and theses employees seem to enjoy that and will return with a jab or two. It is always a pleasure to stay at this location. We look forward to our trip knowing we will get to see some friends along the way.

Newly remodeled, the rooms are very clean and the beds are terrific with nice soft linens. The staff was very friendly and helpful, going out of there way to help you. The breakfast had a nice assortment of options. Overall a great place to stay.

A great place to stay, top of the line. Rooms to perfection, breakfast to die for - or pig out. Don't let the gas station relic next door put you off - wonderful hotel, reasonable price. It was an altogether pleasant experience, very restful and a relief after a day on I-80.

We were headed to Colorado and stayed here one night. Very clean, beds were very comfortable, good breakfast, friendly staff. We were on 1st floor, but was very quiet - very little road noise. Will stay here again when heading through!

We spent a night here on a cross country trip and it was a very nice Best Western. We didn't arrive until almost 10 PM and it was easy check in and we were asked if we wanted a room on the 1st or second floor. We were driving a U-Haul and pulling a trailer so it was nice to have a safe, well lit parking lot to park in. Breakfast was included and the food was good so I would highly recommend this Best Western if you are looking for a place to spend the night.

Was in group of 8 Model A drivers on way home from a 2400 mile trip in a 65 year old car. Great place to stay friendly employees. Manager's reception and Katie was excellent. Wonderful experience after day on the road. A must place to stop and rest. Highly recommended.

We had not stayed at this hotel and the rave reviews enticed us to stop here on one of our many trips between Denver and Iowa. Everything was fine. We stopped at the Golden Spike Tower in North Platte in the afternoon and checked in at the BW Plue Mid Nebraska Inn & Suites in late afternoon. We didn't get to use the pool but we had a quiet room and slept well. Breakfast was fine.

Wonderful suite great for families, front desk service was good, beds feel amazing. Nice kitchen real plates and a dishwasher, the rooms had separate air conditioners which was great for teens. Multiple tvs too

Average place. Clean, comfortable rooms, basic breakfest. Glad breakfest was free. Not a big selection. No in house restaurant or bar/lounge. Morning front counter staff gave me bad information. Ask him how far someplace was and he told me a good hour away when in fact it was less then 10 minutes. If you don't know the answer to a question admit you don't know. Don't try to BS your way through it.

Quiet place, not as flashy as other hotels. I'm guessing all the "families with young kids" stay at other hotels in the area. This night, the people staying here were mostly older. Very friendly staff. Hot tub was too hot, but pool was nice. Loved the free snacks & drinks (yes beer,too) in the early evening. Nice touch.

Excellent free continental breakfast. Nice clean room with a great shower. We stayed one night before heading home the next day. My only issue is our" in room air conditioner "that worked very well was loud. Too loud to watch tv while it operated without turning up the volume way up. Since we were road weary, and only looking to rest after a long day on the interstate, I never brought this up to management and I should have. I totally recommend staying here. Judy and Nate up front are so friendly and helpful.The beds are very comfortable. There is a swimming pool and weight room exercise area. You can check your valuables in the hotel safe up front. It's just a block off the interstate. Four and a half stars. It would have been 5 except for the loud air conditioner.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Very nice pool area that our grandkids enjoyed. Had a slight issue with one of the heating vents making noise during night in one of the two rooms rented. Otherwise, had a good stay, Breakfast was delicious, very nice eating area

I totally enjoyed my one day stay there. This was a spontaneous last minute stay and it was one of the best hotels that I have ever been in. Great hospitality and clean rooms were appreciated. I would definitely stay again. It was a pleasure to stay there.

We had a great two day stay at Best Western in Kearney, NE. Food was great, pool was clean, rooms were immaculate. Definitely a great hotel for the price we paid (group rate for a wedding). It was also in a great location right off the interstate so you didn't need to trek through town to get to it!

We've stayed here at different times of the year and it is always great. This is a keeper. We have recommended this place to family and friends who have stayed and were pleased too. The quality of food for breakfast is very good, We have stayed at other Best Western Plus faacilities that have not been near as good or presented as nicely.

Plus side - The room was clean and the staff (front desk and breakfast room) helpful and friendly. The happy hour was very nice - cheese, crackers, cold cuts, wine and beer and that attendant was welcoming and bubbly. The whole place seemed very well taken care of. Negatives - our room air conditioner was noisier than a Peterbilt, maybe even a Harley! It roared off and on all night - though I don't think it came close to approaching the 70 she setting. We about roasted. Breakfast selections are extensive, but the pastries were hard and dry and the eggs looked so artificial I didn't care try them...

Friendly place in the middle of Nebraska! Conveniently located off I 80 and close to restaurants, a craft brewery, and other attractions. Pool and hot tub area very nice as is the rest of this property.

We found this hotel to be clean, friendly, comfortable and an excellent place to stay while in Kearney to see the Sandhill Crane migration. Close to the Platt River and a convenient drive to Fort Kearney State Rec Area, the Ian Nicolson Audubon Center and the corn fields where the Cranes congregate. On the outskirts of town but still convenient to a number of restaurants. This is THE place to stay if you come to Kearney to see the birds!

We get a clean, comfortable, quiet room (I sound like Tom Baudette) and a buffet breakfast in most of the chain. It also has business services when you need them. As soon as I walked into the room it smelled clean and fresh. The bathroom was clean. The staff was super nice and helpful. I am a night shift nurse and I felt very comfortable and was able to sleep very well except for the second day they were doing hammering in the room next to me which was inconvenient but I understand since I am a night shift nurse and most activity for most people is done during the day. But I will have to say that the breakfast was quite gross.

Hi Folks. Like most Best Westerns, they have a quality standard not found in other "chain motels" in their price range. This is why we are Platinum Card members. Very unfriendly staff, noise was terrible. Should have kept driving instead of attempting to rest at this hotel. Room would have been alright if for the noise level and couldn't see because of the poor lighting.

We stayed at Best Westers most nights on our trip to KC Mo for my Dad's funeral. They were clean, comfortable mattresses and nice breakfasts. We were very satisfied with all of the Best Western Plus hotel rooms.

This is the first time we've stayed at the Best Western in Kearney, NE. (4/17/2016). It was very easy to find (right off the freeway). The young man who checked us in was very proficient at his job as well as friendly and polite. We loved the room we were assigned. The location was excellent and It was very clean and pleasant. Comfortable bed and lots of pillows without having to ask. We used the exercise room which was also very nice. It had a good selection of equipment which was all maintained quite well. There were many food choices just a short car trip away. The free breakfast in the morning was good, too. We would definitely stay there again.

We stay here several times a year on our way to CO. It is always a pleasure - never disappointing as far as quality - cleanliness and everything about it. This would be a great hotel to spend more time. My brother stays here on my recommendation to sight see in the area. He loves it, too!

What a wonderful place to stay. The bed and pillows were so nice and so was the room. Everything was exceptionally clean and inviting. They even provided a great buffet breakfast! The bacon was exceptional!!! When I checked out the staff at the registration were so warm and friendly. I will go here again when we drive through. Thank you for such a great stay.

Clean, comfortable, breakfast included. Breakfast was average, furnishings were functional, but I would stay here again if I were passing through under the same circumstances. No restaurant on the premises. The room was quiet and front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

The service is excellent. Breakfast was standard. Nothing great nothing bad to write about. Rooms are big. Rooms are comfy. One issue was with one of the bath towels. The hotel is on the quet side of town and the room rates are reasonable. We would stay again.

In the hinterlands, this BW+ is like an oasis. The facility is in just-built, not-yet-used condition, exterior to beds, Staff always well-groomed, friendly, polite and helpful. Amenities work perfectly. Great restaurants and service stations nearby. We plan our daily mileage so we can stop here.

I was tired, irritable, exhausted from driving cross-country. I couldn't drive anymore. when the hotel clerk - Connor - said... "it's another 2.5 hours to Omaha"... I just said.. F this... I'm done driving for the night. Connor, great looking guy, sweet as can be, and so helpful, checked me in quickly. He was friendly and courteous. Cute guy also. I checked, in, checked the room and passed out. Used the fast internet to check my mail and fell asleep. I woke up at 330 in the morning and started my trip again. The night clerk made me a cup of tea and off i went into the foggy Nebraska night.

Overall very pleasant stay. Good staff. Clean facility. Clean room. Modern furnishings. Modern Appliances and fixtures. One complaint is that the Television should be mounted on the wall to better enjoy viewing while in the room. Also, I do not appreciate seeing tip jars in the breakfast areas of the Best Western Hotels. It seems that this is a common practice at all of the Best Western Hotels that I have stayed around the country. I am not being served, and don't feel that tips should be necessary.

We made this our stop between home and Colorado over Christmas for 1 night each way. The location is right off I 80 and easy to get to with fuel and restaurants near by. The check in staff was great, very friendly and efficient. Rooms are clean and they have a good continental breakfast. Kids enjoyed the pool one night and there is a hot tub as well. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for a Wedding in town. It has a nice pool and hot tub open until 11pm which our kids enjoyed right up till 11pm every night we were there. Coffee is available at all hours. Continental breakfast is good just like any other continental breakfast. The rooms were clean and nice. Staff was friendly. Seemed recently updated. Disappointing to find out the wedding discounted rate was less than $5 which didn't feel like much.

If we are in this area again, we would definitely stay at this hotel again. Location was convenient from the highway. Room was large, very clean and well maintained. Furnishings were in good condition. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast had a nice selection of items. Most staff were very friendly and smiling. Check-in person was not unfriendly but gave the impression he was just "doing his job". Check-out staff very friendly. Other staff would smile and say "hi" if you just passed them in the hall. This hotel appears to be working hard to provide you with a pleasant stay and good experience overall.

i would recommend staying here. the staff was very professional and friendly. the location was very convenient especially for travelers on 80 and only about 10 minutes from my place of employment. it was also convenient as it is located on 2nd avenue.

I was in Kearney for the week for business. I had trouble finding a room. I called and best western had a spot for me. I had not stayed here in awhile. I loved the room, the hot breakfast and the evening reception!!! The staff was wonderful to help with my questions!!

Our basketball team stayed here during a tournament. Very accommodating staff. Allowed the use of the breakfast area in the evening to gather as a team and go over plans for the following day. They helped us with local restaurants to order from and provided plates, napkins and forks. The staff was courteous and polite. Very patient at the time of check in with ten families all at the same time.

I have previously extolled the positives for this BW Plus. We pulled another road trip on I-80 and stayed here a few weeks ago. This BW still is extremely clean, friendly and quiet! Many of the appointments around the hotel still are shiny and new looking. The Sunday AM breakfast warrants a nap! Awesome variety and tasty! Housekeeping is still all Aces as far as I am concerned! We were in town for a basketball tournament for our grandson and there were several teams staying in same motel PLUS a hockey team and the hallways were a little noisy in the evening with kids running up and down the aisle but by 9:00PM all was quiet and we slept very well.

Very nice staff, very clean and very quiet. Nice big indoor pool. Breakfast the next morning was quite good, nice selection of items. Conveniently located right off the freeway, far enough away so you don't hear freeway noise. Would definitely stay here again.

Rather than fight the chaos of air travel through O'Hare and Denver Airport my wife and I decided to drive. We planned the trip and needed to reserve an overnight stop at the Best Western Plus in Kearney. We left our home in the western Chicago suburbs about 7 a.m., stopped for lunch in Des Moines, and arrived at Kearney about 6 p.m. The Holiday Inn Plus proved to be an excellent choice with great service, clean comfortable room and excellent access to I80. After a good nights sleep we enjoyed a great. complimentary breakfast at the Best Western. WE were on the road by 7 a.m. and arrived at Denver well rested and ready to enjoy the rest of the day by about 11 a.m. local time. We'll be driving this route multiple times each year and we plan to stay at the Best Western Plus in Kearney every trip.

Conveniently located Hotel - in very good condition 1/3 of the way on our trip from Nashville to Lander, WY and 1/3 of the way for our return from Denver area to Michigan. Good Staff, Well appointed rooms - fast internet, refrigerator, microwave - everything we need.

One of the best hotel I have stayed in years. I have traveled all over the country and find the Best Western Hotels always first rate in comfort and helpfulness of all the staff. The beds are always first rate and the hotel is always clean.

Overnighted in a lower level floor room with king sized bed and refrigerator and microwave; clean, quiet and nicely furnished. Pool water was warm and inviting. Generous breakfast. Safe area. More affordable than other choices in the area.

On arrival the young man at desk was well trained and experienced to take care of guests arriving and meet all of their requests. He arranged for a handicapped room and even assisted in finding a great place to eat . we stayed two times within a week and he was a fantastic employee of this motel . this motel is far above the plus rating they have ,it makes other plus hotels look like a second rate stay.We highly recommend this BW Plus to anyone passing through this town . Brealfast was good and pool area plus hot tub were clean and pleasant to use

When I travel for leisure, I look for comfort, value and location. I look for a Best Western motel where I know the service is excellent so my stay will be pleasant. Best Western motels are conveniently located making it easy to settle in and depart.

We booked at this hotel because of its nearness to area attractions. We were not disappointed. The service, facilities, and amenities were great. Caring staff, comfortable room, and great full breakfast were among the features here. Also the fitness center was better than most for this type of hotel. We would gladly stay again when in the area!

Our room -- on the second floor and accessible from the ground floor through a very small elevator -- was fine -- adequate bed and space. We had a problem figuring out the WiFi access, however, and called the front desk twice to ask about it. The staff member on duty did not give me the correct information, however, and my husband went down to ask about it and also about the extra pillows I had requested earlier. We finally got logged onto WiFi, and had been told that pillows would be brought to us. I tried unsuccessfully to reach the front desk at least two more times, and we never got pillows. When I mentioned this at checkout, the staffer on duty immediately discounted our bill and apologized, which helped my negative feelings a great deal. Breakfast was standard hotel fare and the area was kept clean and food refreshed.

Check-in staff was pleasant and very helpful. Needed extra towels and she cheerfully brought them directly to the room. I was impressed with the overall cleanliness of the entryway and the lobby. Room was neat and clean and was impressed with the bed decor. Simple but with taste. Breakfast was first class. The eggs were not dried out and bacon was not over cooked. There was a large variety of foods from cereal, toast, muffins, bagels and do-nuts to eggs, bacon and waffles. Apple and orange juice along with coffee and milk as well as dry cereal choices. The dining area was kept clean as guests came and went during the morning. My experience has been the dinning area usually dose not get cleaned until after the breakfast time.

I have stayed at every major branded hotel in the country and Best Western's are always the only ones that are consistently clean, friendly and affordable. I won't stay anywhere else. This location is our favorite. It is a premium hotel for a fraction of the price of a typical premium chain hotel.

We stayed at the Best Western going and returning from our trip to Iowa City. Both times we were greeted by a very professional staff person. We were traveling with our 92 year old mother and it was helpful to spend the night in the handicap room.

Hotel was well maintained and had good breakfast options. It is modern in its appearance and the rooms are nicely furnished. Bathroom was clean and up to date. I did not use the pool or the exercise room. Equipment looked to be good quality and maintained. We stopped in for one night as we traveled down Interstate 80 for two days. We needed a quiet comfortable place to sleep and the Best Western delivered.

the Handicap room is very spacious and nice My husband had enough room to get around in the room in his wheel chair. The snack time is nice cheese, cracker, and such. There is a nice pool and hot tub. The staff is very friendly. the only thing wrong was that there was no place for the soap, shampoo, etc in the shower. I would recommend this hotel to my family, friends, and whoever ask. This was a trip to Kansas City to see my husbands doctor.

This is the first time we've used Best Western in a long time. This hotel was a great price and a great experience--beautifully landscaped with updated rooms. A lot of thought was put into making our room comfortable. Loved finding this hotel. I will definitely use Best Western hotels again.

I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at this hotel. It was the cleanest and well appointed room I had during my cross country trip. The hotel was very quiet and the breakfast in the morning was fresh and substantial. The location is convenient and I was happy to find that the steakhouse "Skeeter Barnes" was nearby.

We have stayed at this motel a number of times and have always been very satisfied. They have a great indoor pool and a hot tub. They have a free reception every night with crackers, cheese, meat balls, chips, dip, wine, beer, and soft drinks. Their breakfast has a good selection and is very good. The rooms are very large and the bed is very comfortable. The staff is very pleasant and very helpful. We would very definitely recommend this facility.

My son and I found the Best Western on south edge of Kearney, NE, to be a very pleasant hotel and quite restful. Breakfast was very good, too. We enjoyed Sunday night supper at a near by restaurant which was in walking distance. The traffic from I-80 was not heard in our rooms. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We have stayed in many Best Western Hotels and everytime we have a great experience! Plus we travel with 2 miniature Schnauzers who are always welcome at their hotels! The rooms are great and the breakfast is always fresh! I highly recommend Best Western whenever you stay away from home. They are the friendliest and most like staying at your own home!

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Best Western in Kearney. Clean, neat; friendly staff; great breakfasts! A really nice pool, with great coffee provided in the lobby all the time and at breakfast. This place can't be beat!
