Good place for family, clean and good service.

What a lovely hotel, great welcoming staff and Jay the general manager was very friendly with some good local knowledge. Swimming pools were spotless and kids loved the slides, the beach club was awesome with beautiful views over the beach. Very quite and peaceful at night. Not much outside to do in terms of restaurants etc but the ones that are there are great with very good food and prices. 7/11 is a few steps away. To get about use Grab taxis very cheap and you can be in town in a matter of minutes.

Just got back from a stay here with my family of four and honestly, I can't recommend it enough. There's a bunch of different rooms to pick from, and we went with one that had a door straight to the pool — such a win with kids. The staff were super friendly and genuinely helpful. We even had a bit of an accident with one of the kids come up during a night, the staff there were responsive in a kind manner and they sorted it out fast, no stress. Facilities are top notch. The cleaners are around 9:30 earliest and do a brilliant job tidying up. The swimming pool and restaurant get a bit lively Friday to Sunday mornings but the rest of the week it's basically yours to enjoy in peace. The beach is a quick 5 minute walk away and which you'll come across a stylish beach bar with a pool and restaurant. Breakfast buffet is great — good mix of Asian and Western food, and they switch it up daily so you're not eating the same thing every morning. People staying are a mix of Asian and Western families and groups. It' also handy that BluePort mall is just a 10 minute drive away if you fancy a day of shopping or want more to do. This is a perfect spot for a 3-4 day family getaway — we'll definitely be back!

Best Western Plus Carapace Hotel Hua Hin is one of those beachfront stays that perfectly combines relaxation and fun in one place. The hotel has a modern design with a bright and refreshing atmosphere that immediately makes you feel comfortable. It's located in the Khao Tao area, which is a bit quieter than central Hua Hin, so the overall vibe feels much more peaceful and relaxing. One of the things we loved most was the variety of swimming pools around the property. Each zone had a completely different atmosphere. The Aqua Play zone with slides and water activities was super fun and perfect for spending hours in the water, while the Lagoon Pool had a much more chill vibe, especially during sunset when the atmosphere became really beautiful. Another highlight was definitely the Carapace Beach Club located right by the beach. The sea view there was amazing, and just sitting by the ocean listening to soft music felt relaxing enough to spend the entire day there. Sunrise in the morning was also incredibly beautiful and peaceful. This time we stayed in the Deluxe Sea View room, which was spacious and very comfortable. The bed was cozy, and the private balcony was perfect for sitting and enjoying the ocean view. The lighting inside the room was also really nice, making every corner feel photo-worthy. For dinner, we ate at Biscay Restaurant, which had a wide variety of dishes and everything we tried tasted really good. Breakfast was also a buffet with plenty of options to choose from. Overall, this is a great Hua Hin hotel whether you want to relax, swim, take photos, or simply enjoy a peaceful beachfront stay. It's especially suitable for families with kids because of all the water activities, but couples can also really enjoy the atmosphere too. If you're planning a romantic trip, visiting on weekdays or outside school holiday periods would probably give a quieter and more relaxing vibe.

We had a great stay at this property. The Hotel was nice and clean with well trained staff. Our room was full with amenities with a surprised setup which my kids really loved it. Thank you Mr. Jay and his team for a warm welcome us.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and it was truly the highlight of my stay. Stayed here recently and had a fantastic time. The hotel is located in the Khao Tao area, which is about a 15 to 20 minute drive from the main Hua Hin town. It is a lot more peaceful and quiet, but the resort itself is full of energy. They have three different zones that kept us busy all day. There is a long lagoon pool that is perfect for a relaxing swim, especially if you stay in one of the pool access rooms. For families, the aqua play area is a total winner. It has slides and water features that the kids absolutely loved from morning until evening. We also spent a lot of time at the beachfront pool, which has great ocean views and a pool bar. A nice surprise was the Movie Night they host on Saturdays. We visited in April, and they were screening movies and cartoons right by the pool starting at 7 PM. It was such a chill way to end the day, just sitting back and watching a film by the water. Overall, it is an excellent choice if you are traveling with children or just want a fun, active atmosphere. Everything feels fresh and well managed.

This place is perfect for kids. We had a wonderful and enjoyable stay, especially my children. They had so much fun playing in the pool and on the slides. The breakfast had a great variety of choices, and all the staff were very helpful and service-minded.Thank you chef Pai for the best service.We will definitely come back and stay here again.

Hua Hin remains one of our preferred destinations for a leisure getaway, and we typically make a point of selecting different hotels to experience a variety of atmospheres and service styles. On this occasion, however, the hotel selection was arranged by relatives, and unfortunately, it did not align with our expectations. We found Best Western Plus Carapace Hua Hin to be positioned more as a budget-oriented family hotel with limited service. From a service perspective, the overall guest engagement at the Front Desk fell short. A number of team members appeared more focused on chattering amongst each other than attending to guests. That said, there were a few notable exceptions—specifically, a bell attendant (small guy) who provided his service to us upon arrival and a Front Desk supervisor (identifiable by a distinct uniform), both of whom demonstrated a commendable level of friendliness and professionalism. While an additional fee for our child was duly collected, the corresponding in-room amenities for triple occupancy were not provided. We had to request for additional towels, drinking water by ourselves. This created a gap in the overall guest experience. Furthermore, I was surprised to learn that a request for an additional pillow would incur a charge of THB 500, which seems disproportionate to standard hospitality practices. The breakfast experience was underwhelming. The overall presentation and quality of food were below expectations. Desserts were not palatable, and the cut fruits appeared dry, as though they had been left out for an extended period. At approximately 9:40 a.m., the noodle station offered only noodles and broth, requiring guests to source protein from other stations such as the congee counter. Additionally, the service interaction with Sous Chef “Sarun” was not in line with expected hospitality standards, as there was no greeting or engagement, which gave an impression of reluctance. In contrast, the hostesses and waitress were courteous and helpful. Room cleanliness also requires improvement. We found hair on the bathroom floor and on bath mat. Upon departure, the service lapse continued. The bell staff neither offered assistance with luggage nor extended a farewell. Instead, their attention remained on internal conversations, and service was directed toward newly arriving guests. This left a lasting impression regarding the level of service at the property. Moving forward, we would be more inclined to return to properties such as Amari Hua Hin or InterContinental Hua Hin, which have consistently delivered a higher standard of service and overall guest experience.

Too noisy, too many kids that take over both swimming pools! Breakfast like a school cafeteria……dreadful! Avoid at weekends! Great beach. Super clean modern rooms! Would not recommend for couples! Happy hour consists of 20 baht off drinks! Shuttle buses only hold 10 people and have to be booked in advance.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 19 nights. When we decided to book it, we didn't realize that the children would take over the dining area, the pool at the Beach Club, and the sunbed area. There is a really nice pool area with several water slides that is perfect for children. I understand that parents also want to spend time at the Beach Club, but then they need to make sure their children stay calmer and don't take over everything. I am incredibly tired of children screaming and crying from 7 a.m. when the pool with the water slide opened (and why does it open as early as 7?!), during breakfast in the morning, and then all day long at the Beach Club pool. For that reason, we will never visit this hotel again — but it is perfect for families with children! That said, the staff were very friendly. We had a problem with the air conditioning and it was fixed within 10 minutes! There was always plenty of water in the room, and everything was nice and clean. Wonderful beds and bedding. The breakfast was very good. There was always something to eat, ranging from different Thai dishes to fresh fruit and vegetables. The hotel also offered free transportation to and from Hua Hin Night Market and a larger shopping center. However, always double-check with the driver so that you agree on the same pickup time and pickup location. l

The hotel is large and covers a lot of ground between the main entrance and the beach. It appears to be a very family friendly place for the kids; not my thing and this will keep me from coming back here. It is well maintained, water pressure was good, beds were comfortable enough. Food and drinks are expensive, relative to outside of the hotel, but that is to be expected I guess. The staff were all very attentive and helpful. The beach is quite nice in this area and is accessible directly from the hotel grounds. Parking is easy enough and there is security at the entrance to the grounds. This hotel is about a fifteen minute drive from Market Village area in Hua Hin.

The staff here were absolutely amazing, genuinely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The bed was one of the highlights – huge, super comfortable, and perfect for a proper night's sleep. I also loved the wireless charging feature by the bed, a really nice and modern touch. The food at the restaurant was a bit hit and miss. Some meals were decent, others not so much, so it felt quite 50/50 overall. The location is quite far from the town centre, so it's not ideal if you want to be close to the main action without relying on transport. The biggest downside for me was the internet. It wasn't stable enough to stream anything, which is a shame for a hotel at this level. Also, the lift area on the ground floor really lets the place down. It feels like a warehouse, with 3–4 dirty staff room doors and flaky paint on the floors and walls in the connecting area. It doesn't match the quality you expect from the rest of the hotel. Overall, great comfort and brilliant staff, but let down by the internet, the distant location, and the poor presentation around the lift area.

This resort has a beautiful beach, relaxing poolside and waterslides that are thrilling. Our young sons may have thought the pool water was a bit cold, but we enjoyed the rides and the kid friendly environment. The poolside food was delicious and breakfast had a decent spread. The suite we had was spacious, perfect for a family with a separate bedroom door. The staff was friendly and catered to our needs. Thank you Jay!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Best Western Plus Carapace Hua Hin. The hotel is a beautiful place with many stunning views, making it perfect for photo taking and creating lovely memories. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, and relaxing. The food was delicious with good variety, and everything was well prepared. Our kids absolutely loved the swimming pool, which is very kid-friendly and well maintained. We were also very impressed with the meeting room packages, which are excellent—well organized, comfortable, and supported by professional and service-minded staff. Another great point is that the cost is very reasonable and not expensive, especially considering the quality of the services and facilities provided. Most importantly, the staff are extremely friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Accessibility for wheelchair users, including in room amenities and throughout the property, is as good as I've seen anywhere in Asia. Combined with great staff, impressive breakfast and delicious cocktails at the pool bar made our seven night stay perfect. Jay (the GM) and the team are amazing!

The most beautiful experience i had at carapace hotel with my family , this was our first visit to huahin and i tell you the overall experience is 10/10 , The water park inside the hotel was a total vacation feeling plus the kindest staff who are always ready to help smilingly , thank-you so much for all the help , my kid is definitely not willing to go back home 😊. If you're looking for a relaxing resort stay in Hua Hin, then this is the place for you. Picturesque spot, right on a sandy, clean beach, with a fantastic Beach Club, that includes a great pool, and swim up bar, and poolside restaurant, serving food, both at the beach and the pool. My suite was very spacious and luxurious , meticulously clean and well appointed. The bed was the best one I've slept in for ages. The staff service at this hotel is excellent….attentive, helpful and very friendly. Breakfast in the main restaurant covered every one's requirements and offered a great selection of both Western and Asian food. I love the fact that they offer something different than the usual, like their BBQ nights, and often have different themed celebrations…..what a treat. Can't wait for my next visit. Excellent hotel resort, the amenities are fabulous including pools and slides for kids , and the beach club is amazing with its own pool, more designe d for the adults , Meals are first class, staff are so super friendly and professional , highly recommended. Stayed here 12/11 - 13/11 2025. Pool access room. A BW- plus hotel that is perfect for a couple of nights. The hotel building consists of three buildings with the pool in the middle and large slides. This means that if there are a lot of people, the noise level is very high in the courtyard. Service-oriented staff. Reported a problem in the room within 10 minutes they had solved the problem and given us a new room. Pros: Located on the beach. Free parking. Fast check-in/check-out. Pool, open until 7:00 PM. Modern rooms. Clean and fresh. Refrigerator in the room. Kettle. Outdoor seating. Bed firmness 7 (see below*). Value for money 5 (see below**). *(Sinks through 0 - Average 5 - lies on top of the mattress **(Throws money down the drain 0 - Break Even 5 - Highest profit 10). Cons: Noise level around the pool when crowded. Few sun loungers around the pool. High noise level in the breakfast area. Breakfast: breakfast selection 4 (see below 1). breakfast quality 5 (see below 2). breakfast value for money 5 (see below 3). (1) 1- spartan selection - 10 overwhelming selection. This Hotel is by Far 1 of the best in Asia, We have returned several times, and each time the Staff,Clenleness and Rooms have been 100%, We Travel a lot in. Thailand,and this Hotel is the one we look forward to returning too every year.

Why do I love this hotel? The staff are amazing and incredibly friendly. There are smiles everywhere. You feel welcome no matter who you run into, whether it is security or the housekeeping team. The location is great. The whole Khao Tao area is just outside Hua Hin City, so it is a little less busy, yet you get access to a far superior beach. The beach is fantastic. You can walk for about thirty meters and the water still barely reaches your belly. It has a very gentle incline, which also creates perfect waves if you want to do some boogie boarding or kite surfing. The layout is excellent. The main hotel area surrounds the adventure pool where kids and anyone who is still a kid at heart can enjoy the slides and splash filled fun. A short one minute walk, or a twenty second ride in the golf cart, takes you to the beach restaurant and the beach pool area. That pool has no slides, just direct bar access and a jacuzzi for anyone who wants a quiet refreshing swim before relaxing on the chairs or hammocks overlooking the ocean. The rooms are very clean and clearly either new or very well maintained. Compared to some other hotels I have seen in Thailand, even from big name chains, this place is definitely a step above the rest. The rooms are also very spacious. We were a group of four, two adults and two young kids, sharing a single double bedroom, and we never felt like we were tumbling over each other. Breakfast is amazing and definitely one of the highlights of my day. There is a wide selection of Thai breakfast dishes, an egg station where you can order anything from scrambled to poached eggs, fried bacon, fresh fruit, cereals, coffee machines, a pancake maker, and much more. All in all, I've been to numerous hotels all around Thailand and this one stands out as one of the, if not, the best.

Stayed here one night. Changed room due to chemical smell in room. Had a pool access room. Good choice. I do not recommend staying here in high season as the sound from the playground in water echoes a lot. Beach club closed.Only 9 sunbeds which all of them are in the shade. Breakfast very poor. Enormous venue. Felt like I was back in school. Do not recommend to pay for breakfast. No treat. Drain in bathroom blocked. Shower floor EXTREMELY slippery.Watch out! Unpleasant check in where the young guy insisted that we didn't had breakfast included although we know we had payed for it. Manager helped out. Mediocre hotel. Nothing I will remember.

Great hotel at a nice and peaceful location. We checked in as a group of family and kids totalling 15 pax last weekend (17-19 Oct. 2025) for 10 roomnights. Even the hotel was fully occupied, our stay were very pleasants with not even a small problems. The kids enjoyed the pool facilities and the hotel rooms have a well thought out design with excellent cleanliness. 10/10 and would highly recommend this property to anyone.

The Starbuck outlet beside by the beach I enjoy with atmosphere around, also activity with cake decoration. Special thank you Khun Noi-Restaurant Manager who has good take care us as well as good recommend drink menu by Khun Tak as well.

I had an amazing 3-week stay here. A special mention goes to Yuna, Peach, Noi, and Gull from the Beach Club and Biscay restaurant. They really looked after me during my stay and were so kind. They definitely made my stay the best it could be. An absolute credit to the Best Western! My family are also grateful for this, as I was a solo female traveller, so the fact that the staff were so nice to me gave my family peace of mind. We stayed at Best Western Carapace Hua Hin at the end of our trip through Vietnam, Cambodia, and Bangkok, and it turned out to be the perfect little break before heading home. After a non-stop whistle-stop tour, this was exactly the relaxing touch of luxury we needed. The hotel itself is modern with a stylish Thai-inspired vibe that makes you feel like you've arrived in an exotic paradise. The design blends clean contemporary lines with tropical charm, giving the whole place a welcoming yet upscale feel. For families, the pool and slide area is fantastic – our kids loved it – while for those seeking something calmer, the beachside pools provide a more grown-up, serene setting. The beachfront restaurant and bar really impressed us too. It offers a comprehensive menu of world cuisines alongside Thai classics and fusion dishes with a modern twist. Everything we tried was fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious. Our room was spotless, spacious, and very modern. just walked out of the hotel in disgust, our room was dirty beyond belief, dried blood stains on the pillow sheets and towel. I tried to complain to the reception four people were on the phone. I asked to see the manager, no one was available. I eventually shared photos of the sheets with the reception laughing the name should be changed to worst western hotel very sad

This is a great hotel. I truly appreciate all the staff here from the bottom of my heart. The staff we met on check-in day Khun Fai, Khun Tle, and Khun khard provided excellent and prompt service. We received all the necessary information from the front desk, and the check-in process was quick, which left a great impression. We were warmly welcomed by Khun Oh and Khun Um at front desk ,thank you so much for arranging such a great room location for us. The beach club here offers both food and drinks. We met the bartenders, Khun Q and Khun Toon, who made us good drinks. In the evening, we went for a swim and were well looked after by the lifeguard, Khun Ek, who provided us with excellent care and helpful advice. At the beach club restaurant, Khun Gun and Khun Eye gave excellent menu recommendations. At the breakfast restaurant, the staff also gave us a warm welcome. Khun Mon took great care of us and helpfully introduced items on the breakfast line. On checkout day, we met Khun Jele, Khun Dew, Khun Pupe, and Khun Piploy. No matter how many times we walked past them, they always greeted us. The checkout process was fast and very impressive. We will definitely return again!

Staffs at front desk; all of them were busy talking on the phone leaving no time to respond to the in-house guests' need. Quite a poor service and under standard. In a service point of view- do not recommend

We checked in for the first time and were surprised that there was such a beautiful hotel in Hua Hin. The hotel looked very new, clean, had 2 swimming pools, but I liked the pool by the sea more. The receptionists were very friendly and had good manners. I learned their names from asking other staff, Nong Fad and Aummy. And I can't forget the service of the restaurant staff, Noi, who was always there to help and recommended delicious food for me And my friend. Thank you to all the hotel staff. You made my trip very happy.

Loved my stay at Best Western Carapace! It's just far enough from Hua Hin to be peaceful, but still an easy trip into town when you want restaurants and bars. Perfect spot right on the beach too - you can walk straight onto the sand and grab drinks at their beach bar. Jay, the manager, was honestly amazing. He helped me figure out the area and was a lifesaver when my back was acting up. The whole staff was super friendly. Will definitely book here again next time I'm in town!

Fantastic hotel, brand new, great styling. The rooms are very specious and offer a lot of amenities. 6 water bottles a day and very clean and fresh smelling rooms. The hotel pool is very long (50m+) and very good for sports swimming. The seaside pool is great for kids and the lounge area at the beach is quiet and nice. Located in Khao Tao it has some local restaurants around it, a very nice temple (Temple Khao Tao) but it's located ouside the city center of Hua Hin, about 10 mins drive. There are cheap Songtaews from Khao Tao to Hua Hin but if you want to be in the middle of the Hua Hin bar scence, this hotel is not for you. We enjoyed the quietness very much so.

We arrived at the carapace after a stressful journey and were greeted by Jay Peno the manager who invited us for a coffee whilst he sorted out our rooms. The hotel was beautiful and run so efficiently the staff were friendly available and helpful they could not do enough for us. I work in the travel business and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel or to visit again.this beautiful place.

A fairly new hotel with great facilities, we took the Christmas break here and was not disappointed, the room Is spacious, very comfortable with an excellent en-suite, if you have children the main pool with slides will be a real magnet, nice cocktails at the beach front pool bar, a big shout out to Mind, she was very helpful and attentive, a good asset to the team!
