Resumen de la reserva
Perfect room, perfectly clean, perfect working amenities. The staff was superb. I was very happy to be able to bring my small dog.
Management is great! Breakfast is delicious! Rooms are terrific. Have been staying here since they first opened. Rooms are updated regularly. This motel in Goliad is THE best place to stay whether for work, leisure, or just visiting family. We are grateful this motel is available.
This is a really nice place. Check in and out with no problem. They gave me the room for the perdiem rate also. Very nice, good breakfast and good location. Best place to stay in Goliad. WHY DO I HAVE TO TYPE 200 CHARACTERS TO SUBMIT A REVIEW!!!?.
We came here not knowing anything about the hotel or the town, and were very pleasantly surprised. The hotel and room were clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good. Great value.
We stayed 2 nights at this hotel to watch the Annular Eclipse. Very clean and had a great breakfast. The beds were comfortable and they had coffee makers in the room. I'm grateful we called prior to making our reservation because we have a dog and they said they would accept a pet and the fee was reasonable.
Best place to stay in the area. Rooms are a great size, comfortable beds. Breakfast is fantastic with awesome Southern hospitality. If you forgot something they have a small convenient store to pick up those items
Great beds, very clean, very quiet...tuned at 90 degrees to the highway...no road/traffic noise. Polite staff. Good location close to all of Goliad's handful of restaurants and the classic old square.
This hotel was very attractive inside and out. Grounds very well kept. Inside very clean. Front desk lady was extremely polite and helpful. Owner manager was friendly and polite. Courtney , not sure her job task very friendly, helpful, and polite
Have stayed here over the years.. love that a local family runs it and has the best service for being in such a small town. It's clean, great service and always willing to go out of the way to help. When am visiting family I will never stay any where else..
the so called hot breakfast included is nasty frozen nooked breakfast burritos maybe kroger ? they sit out all day, was told pool would be available at my stay so i booked my room for that reason and of course when I got there the pool was closed ...mold on my shower curtain, no one ever at front desk, you have to summons then by the phone and wait forever......BUT the worst is when I got home and they charged my debit card 4 times for the price of my room and as of this moment im still having to go back and fourth with the owner telling me he did not I took a screen shot of my bank statement showing 4 charges at $384. for 3 nights ...they are charging me $1536. for 3 nights the owner says he didnt do it yet I have my bank summary showing 4 transactions of $384.!!!!!! disputed the CHARGES WITH MY BANK...I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO WASTE THIS KIND OF TIME ON SOMEONES MISTAKE!!!!! AND LASTLY BOUGHT ICE CREAM AND THE FREEZER WOULD NOT WORK! YES WE TRIED THE TEMP KNOBS. NEVER AGAIN WILL I STEP FOOT IN THEIR HOTEL
Staff was very helpful and provided the needed blanket and sheets for the sofa sleeper. The 2-Queen sofa sleeper room we stayed in was very clean to include the restroom. The water for showering and washing up was very soft; left skin so soft. The in-room coffee amenities was very well stocked. Enjoyed two cups of coffee before eating breakfast. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was average but that was expected. Variety was ample.
Goliad's Best Western is full of kind hearted staff who made sure we were happy during our stay. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, breakfast was yummy, pool was delightful, common areas were clean and accommodating. We'll be back!
The room we selected was large with two double beds and a sitting area. Breakfast is provided with the room rate. We found the staff attentive to our needs. There is plenty of parking with the hotel property, and the hotel is a short drive to the major historic attractions.
I have stayed at this hotel a few times in the past but I did not actually stay at Best Western on this occasion. My parents live nearby and I reserve a room at BW to be less intrusive when I visit. This time, however, they phoned early in the morning of the day I was to check in to say they tested positive for Covid-19 and not to come. I phoned to cancel right away but was charged the full amount of the suite I reserved because I had not cancelled by 4:30 the previous day.
We have a birthday party for several family members every year in the month of October, this is the first year in Goliad TX a small town but the Best Western there was a welcome surprise, I believe my family had about 15 rooms and most stayed 2 nights and coming from everyone that stayed there, the rooms clean, well keep also the rooms were very large this hotel. If for any reason you are in Goliad Texas this is the place to stay. Our event is only once a year, but now that we have a nice place to stay we will start coming more.
This hotel was perfect for out trip. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Our room was also very big! We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area. The proximity to Schroeder Hall is great! It's the best hotel in the area.
The hotel stay with my wife and young child was amazing. We were in town for a wedding and it was the perfect mini vacation we were looking for. The staff was amazing and accommodating and the hotel was clean and safe. An extra bonus was we had the pool to ourselves each time we wanted to swim (& we were there Memorial Day weekend). The husband and wife duo were customer service champs. Highly recommend if you're heading to or through Goliad, TX!
Stayed to get out the cold weather and bed was comfy big room and very clean. Could use a few updates on carpet and pictures but price was fair and that is important. Enjoyed our overnight stay and would stay again here for sure.
Easy in and out, Good value, Clean and friendly. Large room with good heat/ac. Beds where very comfortable. Restroom and shower very clean no problems whatsoever with the room. very pleased with the one night stay. if I come back in that area again I will most definitely stay at that Best Western Very pleased.
We have stayed at this Best Western a couple of times this year. The exterior is very well kept and it is attractive. The rooms are accessed from indoors. The front desk is not manned at all times, so you use a phone to get someone's attention but that seems to work fine. There is hand sanitizer at check in, and by the elevator. We had a room with a king bed, which was comfortable. Lighting is just a little dim but when you turn all lights on it is fine. Carpet was clean, and bathroom area was well lit. We'd stay here again when in the area. COVID breakfast options a little limited but adequate. Internet worked fine. Hotel was quiet.
Stay across the us in differnt brands but this place is on of the best in every way service, clean, great staff. Great place on of the best stays i have had out of 100s if your in this area must stay here
My wife and kids travel all over the us i am rewards member at just about all chains we dont stay at Best Western often, if all where like this one thats the only place i would stay. Very clean great landscaped big rooms staff that goes out of the way to please. One of the BEST hotels we ever stayed at. Owner should be proud. Thanks
The check in for our visit was kind of weird in that we had to use the phone on the desk to call a number and then someone came to greet us. It is a small town so I guess they do things differently. It was pretty dead in the area on a Saturday night. I had asked for a first floor room but was told there weren't any available. Uh where are all of the cars? Anyway that didn't matter after all as they had an elevator to the upper floors. Our room was a large king room and was clean. The towels were fluffy and the bed was nice. As far as the breakfast it was okay. You could tell there weren't many people staying there because there were few items offered per item such as yogurt, muffins, etc. No problem though as it was enough for us.
We visit Goliad often to see family but had never stayed at this hotel before; however, since it was the holidays this time, it was crowded. So, we decided to stay at the Best Western. I was pleasantly surprised with the room: it was very large and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was adequate; amenities in the room were fine. Free breakfast was okay: basic, but decent. Staff was friendly and hotel was quiet. I would certainly stay here again if I needed a place to stay.
The room was very nice and comfortable. We were especially impressed with the woman at the front desk. She was so friendly and accommodating. I needed an extra blanket and she cheerfully brought it to me.
I had a wonderful stay in Goliad Best Western Plus. The staff was welcoming. The common areas and our guest room was spotless. There was a generous breakfast offered. The hotel is also located in a great location in Goliad. I will definitely return and recommend to friends visiting Goliad.
The staff were very friendly and quick to answer questions about the local historical attractions. The hotel is close to a Spanish mission and the cemetery of the murdered 400 Texas at the hands of the Mexican Army. Highly recommend the hotel as you check out the surrounding history of this very lovely area. Clean, comfy, and friendly!
Welcoming entrance. Clean & spacious room with comfortable bedding and pillows. Good variety of breakfast & drinks. Sufficient warm & cold food choices. All staff very friendly and attentive especially housekeeping when requested fresh towels before room was to be cleaned on 2nd day of our stay.
The property is always clean. The employees are friendly. Breakfast is great. The room I stayed in was large and comfortable. I would recommend the Best Western in Goliad to anyone. Check In was speedy. Check Out was a breeze. I had my receipt in my email before I left the property.
Pretty place, easy location off main Highway. Nice large rooms with plenty of pillows. Friendly staff. Breakfast was usual but didn't like large milk container for sharing with all guests. Seemed pricey but not many to choose from in this town.
We stay here each year and the owner/manager remembers us each time. He and his staff do a great job and we've always had a great experience. Rooms are always clean, comfortable and feel up-to-date. A great choice!
The hotel was great, it was very clean. The stuff was very friendly and helpful, they made the check in and check out easy and fast, breakfast was good and they had a good selection. Overall it was a great place to stay.
I got in late and left early, so I have limited experience. However, the room was clean and well-maintained and it was quiet at night. The breakfast was fine and the bed was comfortable. I'd stay again.
The manager and staff at this hotel made it a most pleasurable visit. Unusually good breakfast and comfortable bed. Room was quiet with a larger, newer TV. Had a little problem with the room coffee maker, but not important. A very convenient location.
This location is privately owned and the owners go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Also the only hotel in Goliad that has a descent breakfast. I will stay here at all my future travels to Goliad. All of the other hotels in this town do not measure up to the quality of the Best Western.
My husband and I stay her quite frequently. We find the staff extremely friendly and professional. The rooms are very clean and modern. The beds and linen are super comfortable. We love the breakfast as it is fresh and delicious. The fitness room is clean and modern. The pool is super fun to use when weather permits. This is the place to stay in Goliad!
The staff at this hotel treated us like we were part of their family. Hotel was a great experience. Everything was clean and orderly. I definitely recommend this hotel any time you plan to be near Goliad, Texas.
We have stayed at BW properties on numerous occasions and have been pleased with all of them. Goliad property is one of our most frequented stays. Very nice staff, clean and large rooms...overall, very pleasant stay.Although we have lived neared this property in Goliad, previously, we can recommend taking advantage of the historical sites to visit while in Goliad!
Good place to stay, friendly staff. Free breakfast that is better than at other BW locations. ADA room was fantastic. Bathrooms are well done and the decor is welcoming and rooms are very clean. It was a nice stay overall.
The Best Western is the place to stay and rest when your travels bring you to Goliad. The rooms are clean. The hotel is nice and the people are friendly. They have direct TV with lots of channels. The rooms are quite so that one may sleep at night.
We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We particularly liked the pool and the breakfast that was included with the room. Good coffee and waffles shaped like Texas, as well as many other offerings. The room was clean and spacious. The pool area had new furniture, and many areas of the hotel have been freshly refurbished.
We had a wonderful stay here! It's a very nice hotel & the staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect! We especially appreciated Belinda! Awesome lady & so kind & helpful! This is our 2nd time here & we will be back again!
This was one of the nicest hotels we've stayed in , Every employee we encountered was extremely cordial and very helpful, Would definitely stay here again, We have not stayed in a Best Western for quite a while.but based on this experience we would likely to choose to stay at a Best Western Plus elsewhere.
Always love staying at the Best Western in Goliad. Great service. Clean rooms and plenty of space. WiFi in the rooms. Love their workout room, just enough to get your cardio on. And a great home cooked breakfast.
Hotel was centrally located, very nice and clean, great breakfast, very pleasant and helpful staff. We had a school group and they were very accommodating with the rooms and very patient with the students.
Spent one night here March 2018 and cannot praise the staff highly enough. The room was spotless and smelt lovely and fresh. The toilet and bathroom spotless. Lovely clean and easy to use laundry room, reasonably priced. Iron and board in the wardrobe. Very comfortable bed. The manager even offered to drive us to the restaurant and come to collect us. Perfect stop over. CANNOT PRAISE THEM HIGHLY ENOUGH
Our rooms were very nice and very clean. This was our second stay at this hotel. We will stay there again when in Goliad. Breakfast was good and personally prepared with REAL eggs. What made the hotel and the stay really GREAT was the staff. Special thanks to Miranda who helped with reservations, check in, and accommodations. She was very personable and helpful Yazim, the general manager, was also very helpful. The entire staff was nice to us and made us welcome.
In appearance and amenities, this is a standard Best Western; maybe a little nicer than some because it is relatively new. What made this one stand out though is it's friendly, attentive staff. They couldn't have been warmer or more helpful! We had two suites for ourselves and our adult children and they went out of their way to make sure we had plenty of extra towels and linens for the sofa beds. Goliad is an awesome little town and the staff at the hotel reflect the local values and charm. I will definitely be staying here again.
The hotel is very nice for a small town. This past visit, we had a problem with attention to room cleanliness. A tray of food from previous guest was left in our room refrigerator. Also lavatory water pressure was an issue
Hotel was under repair & we were not told when we were making reservations, so noise was awful, especially right above our room. Smokers out front of hotel, so lobby smelled of smoke. Internet was very slow. Front desk staff were friendly, breakfast was okay. Dog hair on bedding, but housekeeping changed, immediately. Employees need to be identified by uniform and/or name tag.
Aweare of issue wish they would have replaced before I got there. They serviced the issue but too late to take a shower. Expect more when paying that much money for a hotel. The breakfast was ok and had options but no Gluten free options or dairy free
My room reeks, feels damp. I have used a half a can of fabreeze and it still won't go. I have a used bar of soap in my tub. Never again will I stay here, I'm really afraid if my sheets are clean. So gross...
Great service and clean room for my 4 night stay in Goliad Texas. By far the best place to stay in Goliad. Staff were helpful, very kind, courteous, respectful, and willing to accommodate throughout my stay. Even after Hurricane Harvey as flooring was being replaced, the lobby and repairs were done quickly and quietly. Looks great and the staff made all the difference.
I would highly recommend the Best Western Plus Goliad. The rooms are always clean. The beds are comfortable. The employees are always available if I needed anything. I have been here during the reenactment at Presidio La Bahia and then for family reunions and meetings.
Management and staff were very friendly. The rooms were clean and the furniture was like new. The linens and pillows were clean and fresh and the best were very comfortable. The breakfast area was clean, well laid out, and the variety and quality of food was very good.
Stayed there while working relief for hurricane Harvey. By far one of the best hotels I've stayed in. This is all due to the GM Yatin Bhakta. He and his staff went above and beyond to accommodate myself and my company. The hotel is clean and well maintained. Breakfast is good. I would definitely recommend this place for the weary traveler.
I work as a FEMA disaster inspector ,we were stuck out of options to find a room, spoke with Yatin Bhakta so very helpful made rooms available for us ,super professional, absolutely a top tier hotel, thank you so much for everything, much appreciated, thank you. Jeff H
Hurricane Harvey was the reason for our stay. I can not say enough about YatinBahakta and his kindness during the hurricane.. He provided food and water for all his guests.. ...kind caring man.hotel is beautiful.. Also zLaurie Perez one of his staff so kind..
One of the most historical communities in the history of Texas and a location of a probably overlooked BW location. A not very old site with an attractive location in town. Once you leave the street and enter the parking lot you get a sense of being tucked away from the rest of the town in your own little cocoon of a hotel lots of greenery on one side which is a creek with no business or residence, just GREEN in summer months. Indoors it has the feel of a certain coziness and in this case nice and quiet. Unfortunately the oilfield activity has slowed tremendously and the main reason this property was built is basically gone, hence, low occupancy. If you are looking for a quiet location and a dose of privacy in a hotel, this is it! The pool is on the back side of the building with a nice tall fence for even more privacy while outdoors, nice setting and not a huge pool but adequate. Rooms have all the items and amenities you come to expect at a well run BW, good bath linens, fridge (oops, no freezer, shucks) micro wave, LARGE room, nice TV, premium channels, coffee maker, hair dryer, comfy bed, good A/C, and clean room, what more could you ask for in a room under a hundred?!! If you want to tour the mission, La Bahia old spanish/mexican fort, and not far from the Fannin memorial, stop here for a nice restful place to launch your adventure tours in the area, and the old downtown area and courthouse looks like a lot of fun to explore as well. Try it out, I seriously doubt if you will be disappointed! Nice breakfast area and lobby too!
This facility is what puts the "Best" in Best Western! Have not had this pleasant a motel stay in a very long time! Will definately stay here again. The entire staff was gracious, knowledgeable and helpful.
Had family come in out of town and stayed here. The owners and employees were great and my family said it a was home away from home. Breakfast was great every morning and rooms were clean. The pool was great for the kiddos also. A must stay if your here in Goliad.
We recently stayed here during a family visit for a funeral. The owners are super people who go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. This place is very clean and very quiet. Good breakfast with a variety of hot and cold items to suit everyone. I will definitely be staying here again.
Management here is nonexistent as well as staff and unfortunately it is reflected. Loyal to Best Western, however, this location is having its reputation damaged. When assistance does arrive none of them have name tags. This level of difficulty getting assistance makes me want to seek a stay elsewhere.
This hotel was great for what we needed. I am very picky and cannot say one thing bad. Good experience across the board! The rooms were clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was a nice plus.
we stop here twice a year, clean rooms, breakfast is good. It is always good to get here because we are so tired. Good stop after working all day in Larado, Texas. Staff is friendly and helpful. We will keep on going back!!
The hotel stay was excellent. Clean rooms, great breakfast and extremely fast internet. The hotel manager was accommodating for the long duration of my stay at last min. I work on oil rigs and the hotel was a good central point to a lot of them.
A true value for the money and convenient to every thing. Helpful staff. Quick check in/check out. Comfortable rooms. I would highly recommend staying at the Goliad Best Western. Friendly staff. Enjoyed the swimming pool.
This is a very nice hotel. The staff is excellent. The rooms are spacious and clean. It is conveniently located as you enter Goliad and restaurants are nearby. Although the breakfast is very basic, it is included in the room price. There is a small mart in case you've forgotten toiletries or need a quick snack/drink.
Nice hotel, clean, has modern decor and in good shape. The only thing they can improve upon is their breakfast. I would like them to offer either sausage or bacon and the scrambled eggs could be better. Overall it was a nice stay with a good nights rest.
A spacious room and beautifully decorated public area made this hotel perfect for a stay in the Goliad area. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was... standard hotel fare, but the coffee was excellent and strong. The historic town center and restaurants are not far.
Very nice all around, really enjoy this stay. Staff and hotel were excellent. We had a nice time, if we are near this city again we will definitely stay here. Great location, fun area. Friendly staff and good breakfast.
We use this Hotel for our visiting guest and the school district uses it for their guests and it is such a wonderful hotel. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The hotel is always very clean. Would recommend the Best Western- Goliad to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.
Great location for my stay in Goliad. Very Centrally located. Lovely town with lots of history and nice, clean hotel. Staff was very nice. Room was a decent size. They have a fitness room with a few decent pieces of equipment. I didn't have the breakfast so I can't comment on that. All in all I would definitely stay here again.
Great service and rooms very clean. Would like to see a better breakfast, but I eat rather healthy so that's not likely to find at a hotel. But overall really enjoyed my stay and will be staying again.
We were surprised to find this Best Western in the small town of Goliad. It is an attractive hotel. Both my son and I had a restful night and were happy with our rooms. We found the breakfast area to also be attractive and enjoyed a hot breakfast. W
Excellent service and very clean hotel - from outside, to lobby, to room. We first stayed at this hotel shortly after it opened. We are very pleased with the way the hotel has been maintained and the dedication of management to serve their clients. Extremely friendly and helpful staff.
Quiet hotel (i.e., not very full). Seemed fairly new, and the room was quite large and comfortable. Had the usual office-type chair that wouldn't roll, and an overstuffed chair that was just OK. Breakfast so-so: had those egg-like patties (what are they made of, really?), and a limited selection of bread and rolls. OJ dispenser gave out mostly water.
I must say that when our family booked a block of rooms at a Best Western in Goliad, TX, my expectations were pretty low. This hotel is relatively new, CLEAN, well-run with good furnishings and nice decor. The breakfast bar has a nice offering of waffles (make your own), biscuits and gravy, eggs, cereal. The hotel appears to be totally family owned and operated. The one surprise- the front desk may not be staffed. But that's not a bad thing: If no one is at the front desk, just pick up be phone on the desk and someone arrives promptly. They are very helpful. The rooms are quiet. Beds are very comfortable. We reserved a meeting room for a few hours to allow us to gather and organize. Prices are fair. I'm very surprised Goliad has this type of hotel. I will gladly stay here next time I visit family!!
I stayed at the Best Western Plus Goliad Inn & Suites on a Saturday night. I found the hotel to be comfortable with friendly staff and well kept facilities -- much much better than I was expecting to find in a small rural south Texas town. The hotel appears to only be a year or two old. The franchisee's family lives on-site, so they are always around to make sure that staff are attentive and the facility is well maintained. I stayed in a double queen bed room and found it to be well appointed, clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was clean as well and in good working order. There was plenty of hot water and I didn't encounter any noise issues from fellow guests. Instead of individual soaps and shampoo, the bathroom has a push-soap dispenser in the shower -- much like you would find in gyms. I'm not sure how I feel about it, but I'm sure it less wasteful as half-used bars of soap are not thrown away. Plus its probably cheaper on the hotel owner, as they don't have the expense of having to purchase bulk boxes of hotel soap. The breakfast area was very clean and well-stocked. On the day of my visit they had scrambled eggs, make-your-own waffles, biscuits, gravy, cinnamon buns, a variety of cereal and yogurt, along with juices and fresh coffee. The lobby is very clean and inviting. I definitely will stay here again next time I am in Goliad.
Stayed here with my family for a weekend. Very clean, nice, and updated Best Western. Staff went out of their way to make sure my family was taken care of. Front desk even showed us the room before to make sure that it would accommodate one of my family members who is handicapped. All around a great hotel stay!
New Best Western Logo sign threw us off! Easy access to all town attractions. Clean, large rooms. Elevator to 2nd floor is a plus. Staff addressed any issue - extra towels, change to 2 beds - promptly. Will stay again.
We've stayed at the Best Western Plus during both trips to Goliad this year. The rooms are comfortable, roomy, clean and the staff is welcoming. The breakfast is a normal continental breakfast-very simple and plain.
If staying in Goliad, BW is your best bet. Comfy rooms, and the pool is clean and cold. The staff are friendly and helpful and familiar with the town. The price is a bit higher than the place across town, but the room and amentities more than make up the difference in price. Check it out!
Our stay at Best Western was consistently satisfying with that same dependability we've always expected at their facilities. We will use them again and again as they deserve our patronage on all our travels and I highly recommend that you depend on them also.
We arrived after a several hour long drive, and no one was at the front desk. There was a phone there, which "rang" for the attendant and the woman that came out was not friendly, pretty sure she didn't even say hello. When we walked into our room, it had a very strong smell - you could tell that someone had smoked in the room and the cleaner did not make it much better. We went back down and again, had to use the phone to "call" someone and the woman came out again and changed our room - again, no smile or friendliness or apology that we didn't like our room. The second room was ok, nothing special but a good value for what we paid. In contrast, the next morning, the man at breakfast was very friendly and smiling. The breakfast was pretty sparse but the hotel was not busy so we understand that. We came to Goliad to visit some historic sites and enjoyed the sites very much. Our stay at this hotel could have been improved with a more friendly attitude at the front desk - smiles are good and recommended for front desk personnel.
I lived in Goliad for many many years...I moved out of state 8 years ago and still have family there. This is where we stay when we come home! The hotel is very clean, rooms are spacious and the owners always make us feel like family! The hotel has a nice pool and a very yummy breakfast!! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone!!
The 2 Q bed room was the largest motel room we've stayed in ever! The room was roomy, clean, convenient and had a fridge/microwave/ice maker -- the type of property we needed for a relaxing stay on a road trip stay.
This is a great place to stay. Super clean, safe and friendly. Very affordable. Breakfast and internet. Goliad Texas has a ton of history plus one of the oldest dance halls near by Schroeder ( A MUST FOR ALL )
I stay in the Best Western Plus in Goliad, Texas every time we work at our property. It is excellent place with quiet rooms, excellent food and wonderful staff. I always recommend my friends and family to stay there.
The BW Plus in Goliad is a great place to spend a weekend in a historic town. The town is on the top twenty list of small towns in Texas and offers a weekend full of opportunity to visit the Presidio La Bahia, the monument which honors Fannin and his men who were massacred by Santa Anna between his victory at the Alamo and his defeat at San Jacinto, and the birthplace of General Zaragosa, the victor at Puebla which is celebrated each year on May 5. The town has great rodeo enents in the spring and fall, second saturday trade days, and a local craft brewery and beer garden to enjoy on Saturday afternoons.
Very happy with the Staff, and Slept wonderfully! Property well kept. Will be back next trip....Good Stop after a day of business in Larado, Texas/ Property Manager very personable, and ready to help.
This is your average Best Western, so it's a great place to stay. We were there for an event at the Presidio and the staff handled the crowds well. Only time there was a delay was when we had to wait for someone to come to the desk to check us in. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good & the staff was friendly. Definitely a fine place to stay when you're in the Goliad area.
Great staff!!! From the front desk to the house keeping, they were extremely helpful . This hotel is well kept and clean. A very comfortable bed for a hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the area.
The hotel was completely satisfactory. The manager is helpful and friendly. The hotel is just five minutes by car from the historic city square of Gliad and is a nice place to visit and has one or two nice restaurants. Quiet well located hotel.
Had a great sleep after checking out local historic sites. Left the next morning, not realizing until 2 hours down the road that I had left my jacket there. In jacket were our passports to get back to Canada! I quickly phoned back, and Yatin had it boxed up and shipped to the next hotel I would be staying at in Dallas within a couple of hours. He then texted me the details of when I could expect it. He was a lifesaver! This level of customer service is "above & beyond"
What a wonderful hotel. The staff is pleasant and attentive. I come to Goliad at least once a year and look forward to my stay at this Best Western. I know the bed will be comfortable. The room is spacious. If I need anything Yatin and his staff are right there attending to any situation (which hasn't been much). For example, extra towels.
We normally stay here and have never had a problem and this time the problem was out of the hotels control. We normally get a room in the detached rooms like we did this time but I will rethink that decision from now on. Our neighbors in the next room were apparently up to no good. All evening they were in and out and then finally at 230 in the morning an argument ensued between the two staying there. Well needless to say cops were called and then everything calmed down. I would have hated to have needed to be rested the next day. So, long story short get a room on the attached portion. But the hotel was good the patron was bad, but if I would have needed sleep I would have been suffering.
This was a nice hotel and probably the best in town from what I saw. Facility is fairly new and well maintained. The entire facility was clean and attractive in appearance. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was typical but good.
hotel is one of the best ever. I have styed in many Best Westerns and they are always lovely. Although for the money Goliads BW has proven to be the best. Other hotels in the past have been worthy of my monies but this BW, is the best. If you have time and are in the area, drive to stay here, you will be pleased.
Was driving through and stopped at this hotel. It was really late when we arrived. Surprised that there was a great hotel in a small town. The room was hugeee!! Slept really well. Breakfast was great as well would recommend to others!!
Karen and her staff were awesome at the hotel. Needed extra items and they had them brought up to us. Never imagined a great hotel like this would be in Goliad TX. Enjoyed our stay at the hotel and town. Will recommend to others.
In town for a funeral. Have not previously stayed at a Best Western was pleasantly surprised. Very Clean, Room was Great. Staff was very accommodating (had my 85 yr old mother with me). Breakfast was an added plus.
Large clean nice rooms with a friendly staff. This hotel is a good value for the mone y! Nice workout facility with lots of room. Hotel is located in a great location and is only 20 minutes from Victoria.
Pleasant atmosphere and quiet, rooms, smelled fresh and I had plenty of time to relax.and get some much needed rest and work accomplished! Great location, courteous staff and rooms were very pleasing and spacious. We will stay again at this Best Western Plus in Goliad.
I chose this hotel because we stayed there before. First off, I asked for a downstairs room or handicapped room. We were given a room on the third floor. Ok, so we got in the room, unpacked as we waited for the A/C to start cooling the room. An hour later the temp was hotter. So as we were going to leave for an event, we went down to tell the clerk. She asked us to change rooms. My husband had to move everything himself as I was unable to walk that far AGAIN. I had just recently had knee surgery (replacement). After attending the event, we went back to the hotel and was going to turn on the television to drown out the outside noises - it didn't work. I tried to call the front desk - the phones (2) didn't work. AGAIN, because we are on the third floor, I was unable to walk back down to the front desk to inquire about the television and phones - my husband was already asleep as he had been up nearly 48 hours with his work prior to us returning to the hotel that evening. When he checked out the next day they basically said so sorry so sad.
The hotel is very nice and clean. The room was in excellent shape and comfortable. The night clerk was very pleasant and very willing to help answer questions and recommend places to see and eat at. Our overall experience was excellent. We will stay here again.
I was very pleased how accessible the hotel was to the main square. The room was very cozy and nice to the eyes. The breakfast was simple but tasteful. I please with the my stay at the hotel. The décor in the room had a fall look which was very pleasing to me since it was 95-100 degrees out side.
My brother and I split the cost of a two queen bed suite for about a hundred bucks a night for two nights (July 11th and 12th). This is not a bad place to stay;it was clean and comfortable. The air conditioner is EXCELLENT! Breakfast was good and the eating area was well stocked with hot food and cereals and pastries. Parking is adequate. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because the front desk is rarely attended. They actually have a phone on the counter to summon the registration clerk (who I believe must have a variety of other duties that cause the absence. It aggravates me to have to find someone to take my money. Would I stay here again? Sure.
