Resumen de la reserva
This motel is a big disappointment with a huge price tag. After checking into our room, it took 3 Lysol wipes to clean the dirt off of the countertops and furniture. We also had to fix the desk chair before it could be used. Breakfast the next morning was nearly non-existent at 7 a.m. with 2 slices of white bread, 4 biscuits, and 3 small bagels in addition to the hot food. There were only juice boxes (with no orange juice) for juice. We will not stay here again and received no help from the front desk when we voiced our concerns. Also this photo in no way reflects the way the motel really looks.
Absolutely NOT worth the $200.00 amount paid for this room. Worst mattress we have ever stayed on, room not cleaned well after last visitors. Refrigerator made a very loud buzzing all night long that kept us from sleeping. Go down the road and get a cheaper room this is the worst Best Western we have stayed at.
We two stayed one night as an interim stop between Tucson and Santa Fe. After much research I concluded this would be the best place in Eagar/Springerville to stay, and this motel met our modest expectations given the modest price. We were on the first floor. The ROOM was safe and sufficiently clean, though the coffee maker had not been emptied of used coffee filters. The BED was ok, though it seemed a bit tilted. The quality of the bed linens and towels was adequate. The BREAKFAST was spare, as expected for the price. Highlight was actual fruit (small oranges), as well as the availability of both almond and soy milk. In addition to an orange, I had granola (which was almost gone) with almond milk. Scrambled eggs and SOS were also available, as well as sugary kids cereals.
We had 2 rooms, one for myself and one for my dad. I ran out of hot water halfway through my shower. Went to put lotion on and the sample size lotion was empty. There was a dirty towel hanging on a hook behind the door. The blow dryer did not work. My Dad also ran out of hot water in his room. We went to the free breakfast in the morning and there was nothing left. We had to wait for them to make more eggs. There was no toast, only hard biscuits. All the tables were dirty. But the worst thing...when we finished our breakfast, we went back to our rooms and the doors on both of our rooms were wide open and all of our belongings were sitting right there in the room. I even had a Do Not Disturb sign on the outside of my door. Check out isn't until 11am and it was only 9am. Why would the maid come in the room when we had not checked out and I had the Do Not Disturb sign on the door. To make things worse, the maid obviously saw our belongings in the room and realized we had not checked out, but yet she still left the door wide open. Who does this? Anyone could have stolen our belongings as it was right there in plain sight. I complained to the front desk and was told that they were sorry and that this wasn't the first time this happened. I was extremely upset over this and it's a good thing nothing was stolen. No privacy at all for $211 per night, per room. This cost us $422.00 and this is how we were treated. Unbelievable! These rooms are not worth even $50/night.
Stayed here on our way through eastern AZ and into NM. It is clean enough and the staff is very nice. Our room however has no bath mat in the shower which was super slippery. Also there was no shelf to put soap or shampoo on so we had to put it on the floor. This is at most a $120 a night room. Anything over that and you are overpaying. Also Eager has very few restaurants, two gas stations and maybe one other clean motel. Honestly, if you are headed east into Alpine or NM you are way better off staying in Show Low. Many more hotels, restaurants and amenities.
I truly enjoy staying here because I know I will get restful sleep and a clean room. The military discount is a huge incentive - thank you!
Desk clerk at check in was very efficient in checking us in, and was very helpful in telling us we get 10% discount at Steak house next door. Desk clerk at check out was extremely helpful in letting us know road conditions towards where we were headed, as she lived there and had driven earlier in morning. Breakfast was very good and plentiful, little cooler was well stocked with beverages.
Service, average, cleanliness average, value terrible, location average, sleep quality, too noise, Room style, very old. Everything in this motel is old. Overall, the price was too high, compared with Best Western Plus motels.
Awesome, walk to restaurants and Is grocery store in the dollar store I used the laundry mat was nice Breakfast was nice too The staff was very pleasant to be with Clean walk around Very Save area to walk around
Clean. We stayed on the 2nd floor, so it was a little tricky with the dog and suitcases. Exterior entrances only. We had a king size bed, and there were enough pillows. We didn't hear other televisions, and we have ours loud at times. We would definitely stay here again.
This was our 2nd time staying here. The room was nice, but it wasn't as clean as it should have been. There was a sticky substance on the table that I discovered when my room key got stuck to it on the table. There was also trash behind the nightstand. The mattresses are quite thick and the fitted sheet on my bed was too small and kept coming off. The bed also sat very high off the floor, but I deal with that. Overall, the room is fine, but I felt for the price (almost $200/night), I expected it to be cleaner. The staff also likes to park in the handicap spot.
Great place to stay! Staff is wonderful, went up and beyond to take care of us!! We travel often to Eager and this will be the must stay place from now on!! The family restaurant next door is good as well
I travel with my dog. I have stayed in motels/hotels that give me pet friendly rooms but they are not always clean. The room I received here was clean and I truly appreciated it. The breakfast was available at the time promised (5 am) and there was a good selection of things to eat.
A large nicely furnished clean room, with tea, coffee, microwave and fridge in the room. 2 suitcase stands. Large welcoming foyer with seats. Good free breakfast, good restaurant next to the hotel. A good stop on our roadtrip.
Was a great experience, I will recommend this place to all my family and friends about this establishment. Everyone was so kind and helpful with any and all my questions and needs. Truly a wonderful place.
I stay here all the time and the staff is amazing! They are very attentive and if I need any info about nearby places they are happy to help. The new lobby looks great and their breakfast is always yummy, my kids love it.
This would be 6 but for a couple of glitches. Very Comfortable Beds. The Wifi was not reliable or fast, I had to use my hot spot. Bathroom sink, shower and water all good. The Breakfast include cereal, milk, eggs, and sausage. Check in was fast and courteous. Had to wait about 30 minutes for room to be ready. The room was quiet.
The room is extremely noisy with traffic right outside the window and a Jazzercise studio right out the front door that started at a little after 6am. 2 of the 3 mornings the coffee pot was empty. For the price we spent you can get a much better stay at one of the older Motels in the area.
Were treated with extra friendliness and service the people up front out of their way to help us and the staff that cleaned our room they were extra nice and gave us everything we needed we have never been treated so well in any hotel in the past
We stay here once a month and totally enjoy our stay in this hotel. The temperature this last stay outside was well below freezing; but we were very comfortable in our room. I would recommend the best western as the best place to stay in Springerville or Eager Arizona!!
The room was not good but was not bad. Understand that I could of gone over to Springville and got a nicer room for a lower price. The staff was terrific! Why is there a minimum on this question? zzzzzzzzzz
The exterior is nice and the location is great for visiting family that lives in the area. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The room was decorated nice and it was comfortable to sit and watch some TV. The shower was OK, but it could use a handheld sprayer upgrade.
Stayed one night. Room was clean and had no odor. Had to request soap from the front desk but not a big issue. Breakfast was served to eat in our room. It was good and the staff did what they could to make the stay pleasant. The restaurant next door is awesome. Would stay here again.
i travel a lot and am tired of the brown bag breakfasts. Many properties have gone back to the hot breakfast. This One Gives you the option of either. A great selection of warm and cold items. The dining room is closed for dine in, but you can order a hot meal and dine in your room. The room was clean, and the staff was positive and friendly. It is great to be treated like a customer, as many places struggle with finding customer friendly staff. Every thing you need is close a great restaurant and store next door. Also the heating and cooling shuts off when it hits the set temp. That is a big plus to me. I don't like the ones that blow and make noise all the time!
The room looked like you stepped back into the 60's, (furniture, bedding had tears). The carpet was filthy, (don't take your shoes off until you go to bed. Very unfriendly staff and breakfast was served room temperature and not cooked fully.
Perfectly positioned for a drive down the Coronado Trail. Adequate hotel, bed, mini-fridge, bed, and TV in a safe locale. Clearly cleaned and sanitized room for COVID-19 safety. Hotel staff was super friendly which bumps the rating up a bubble. Very close to food and gas.
On our drive back to Denver, we spent a night in Eager, AZ, a midway point. This Best Western appeared to be well maintained and clean. The staff was friendly and we were comfortable. There are limited options so it was nice to have a good one.
Our stay in Eager was for a sad time, but the hotel personnel made it easier for us. The service was great and they were understanding of our needs at this time. We will definitely be using them again.
We had never spent the night in Eagar, AZ before even though we frequent this area of AZ very frequently. We usually stay in Alpine, AZ - but our favorite motel there has really declined after being sold and handled by a non-caring motel management company. So, we are here in Eagar for a few very cold AZ nights. We chose the Sunrise Inn after reading more than a few TripAdvisor reviews. We were impressed with the number of times guests mentioned "cleanliness." This is a two story, park outside your front door, no elevator hotel. It is located right next to a small restaurant. I expected some restrictions due to Covid still being an issue but didn't expect to be handed my towels at the front desk. We also learned that the usual breakfast is "to go" (not really a problem). Since we were staying here 3 days, our sheets wouldn't be changed unless we specifically requested that they be changed before 9 am the following day. We also learned that someone would be knocking on our door around 10 am each day to make sure that we weren't "sick". Not sure if that entails taking our temperatures or just asking us how we feel. Well, with all of this "stringent protection" I expected the room to be spotless. Not so. In room 215 we found a previous guest's prescription pill on the floor, a receipt from a convenience store in Louisiana, dated 11/20/20 and a lamp missing a light bulb. (We moved one from the bathroom fixture.) The carpet is dirty and there is black mold in the fridge. The fridge is also very noisy and runs all the time. There is a gap in the weather stripping of the door to the room that allows you to see outside to the landing. At the sink, the hot water faucet is cold water and the the cold water faucet is hot. But... the hot water is nice and hot and the water pressure is great. I had to dust the fixtures and the furniture as the dust was thick. I realize that it sounds like we are picky travelers. My husband and I have been staying in small, family owned motels for over 30 years while traveling on our motorcycles. Some of the places have been so bad that we needed to shower with our socks on - it's just that this is a BEST WESTERN and I guess I expected more. Since I'm a fair person (LOL) - I'd like to mention a few good things. Our king room has 5 pillows , the sheets are clean and the mattress is comfortable. There's a 40" flat screen TV, a microwave, a fridge with a small freezer, two granite topped nightstands, a dresser and a desk and desk chair. There's also an occasional chair (lots of crumbs and stains on the bottom cushion). The bathroom appears clean. There is a Basha's grocery store right next door if you need a quick meal or snack. The young lady who checked us in was pleasant and informative. She explained everything clearly and was efficient. I don't think that we will return to this motel if we ever happen to stay in Eagar again. I think we may grab a motel in Springerville, AZ which is right down the street and has several choices.
Room was clean! Staff provided good customer service. Next door to a nice restaurant. We just dropped in while driving through. If your search for Springerville this place is actually in Eagar. Thanks for everything.
My husband and I stayed at the Best Western Sunrise Inn in Eagar as a halfway point on our trip to White Sands National Park from the Grand Canyon. Check-in was quick and the staff were properly wearing masks for COVID safety. We were in room 205 and were able to park right near the stairs to go up, which made it a little easier to drag our luggage up. Our keys didn't work on the first try but it was quickly corrected when I returned to reception. The room was no-frills as expected but very clean and comfortable. The temperature control worked well and the bed was comfortable. All of the amenities worked well including the wifi. The bathroom was spotless and we liked the convenience of the separate sink area. The price was very reasonable as well. They prepackaged breakfast in to-go bags, which was great for COVID-safety and keeping us fed on the go! We would definitely stay here again.
This was our first Covid hotel stay & we were very pleased! Safety precautions were evident at checkin & the room was EXTREMELY clean. And they were painting the exterior of the building. We had reservations for 8 rooms. 1 person per room and our visit meet all of our expectations.
Even with COVID restrictions this hotel has remained accommodating, clean, friendly and goes out of the way to make sure your stay is comfortable. They have had to reduce their breakfast options due to COVID but are still offering a bagged continental style option.
Traveling seniors. First hotel stay during COVID-19. Impressed with antiseptic cleaning for the rooms. But we still worry; infection is always a possibility. It's been 6 days and we are still without symptoms. Overall we feel good being able to stay overnight while traveling and sightseeing further distances from home.
Very friendly staff, trying very hard to be accommodating while Covid-19 is going on and making it so they can't do everything as they usually would. Very clean rooms. Internet Was slow. Great to have a microwave and fridge in the room since I am here for a 2 weeks for work.
Considering I work in the hotel industry I found the room in our hotel was very clean and everything was up to par. The bedding and towels were all celan and fresh. The cable and internate were adequate and that's saying something considering I had a 9 and a 5 year old with me.
What I Liked about this hotel: 1. king bed was comfortable. 2.The room was large enough for a couch. 3.The appliances looked new and all worked. 4.Lots of drawers to put thing into. 5.The Location. 6. Heat lamp in the bathroom. What I did not was like was: 1.The electronic door lock was temperamental hard to open. 2.The insulation around the door needs fixing. 3.There are not enough wall plugs to charge electronic devices. 4.low wattage bulbs in the lamps. 5.The walls are painted a gold color and is too dark 70's style. 6.The couch and coffee table are missing. 7.The sink was missing the stopper. 8.The cable TV system was very basic. 9. Walls are thin and the plumbing was noisy. 10. The linen was thread bare and their corners lost their elasticity and popped off the ends. 11. 15 minute timer switch for the heat lamp. 12. Ceiling fixture lamp constant low level lighting.. couldn't make the room completely dark. 13. Holes in the blackout drapes that let light through.
the motel is in a wonderful location,no noise. the room was nice and clean . the cleaning lady was polite and helpful with any questions that we had . the breakfast was good and the selection was good. the check out was fast and easy. over all a 10+ stay. will stay again when traveling.
Our 1 night stay in Eager, AZ was very nice. The hotel was easy to find. It is located right next door to a nice restaurant, Traileriders, which gives a 10% discount to Sunrise Inn guests and the food and service in the bar area was excellent. There is also a Bashas gracery store in that same parking lot to purchase any snacks or other items you may need. The breakfast was great, hot scrambled eggs and sausage mixed in, plus home fried potatoes. They also had an assortment of breads, bagels, english muffins to toast. Cold cereals and mile, Coffee was in the lobby. just a good overall breakfast.
Great, affordable spot on our trip to ski Sunrise Resort. Very comfortable and very accommodating staff. Convenient (walkable) to good restaurants, the grocery store and even the ski shop where we rented in town for a better price than on the mountain. Highly recommend this hotel.
The very best place to stay in the Round Valley area! Have stayed at a couple of the other hotels in Round Valley and none compare to Sunrise Inn. Courteous and helpful staff. Clean comfortable modern rooms..Very convenient to restaurant. Great location. Will stay there again.
The rooms are nice and it was quiet. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. we had a wonderful time seeing the snow and spending time with family in the area. I have stayed in other hotels in the area but only when a room isn't available here.
We booked the executive room since we have an an active puppy. It was a large, clean room with a comfortable bed. The pillows were square & small. I didn't like them. They need to be bigger. The staff was pleasant. Breakfast was tast . The waffles had flavor, unlike other hotel . Along with other continental breakfast items, there were fried eggs (round for a sandwich) & sausage one day & scrambled eggs & seasoned potatoes another Will definitely stay here again.
It was a 5. The only thing I would change is, they need not to have the coffee pot on a tray with 4 glass coffee cups. I broke one taking it off the bed. Other than that it was very inviting, clean and quite. Our little outing to explore Eager Arizona was very nice.
Very clean, good location. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Only complaint would be that breakfast was lacking. There is a good restaurant next door that offers a discount to motel guests. Room was a little noisy (traffic noise) but bed was very comfortable. Will stay again.
Arrived to garbage cans outside being full. Checked in and was given a room where the garbage from the previous occupant was still in the cans. After trail riding, I cleaned up in the sink to find out it did not drain properly. Woke up in the morning and took off for the trails only to return back that evening to find my bed was not made, even though nothing was on it. Garbage was still in the trash can and the sink had not been cleaned or fixed. If all you want is a bed, this is the place for you!
Book early because they sellout fast. Other motels in this area are a bit dated and in kinda sketchy areas. The staff is great. Wonderful restaurant next door. Convenient to grocery etc. Just wish Wifi were a l little faster. Also a tv directory/schedule would be nice. The fitness room could be better maintained.
Very typical facility for small town...no pool or hot tub, not enough attention paid to room conditions (ours looked to have blood splatter on the bathroom wall), upstairs rooms with no elevator making it difficult to traverse for those of us with bad knees, all outside entrance/exit causing security concerns.
This is a really nice & very quiet hotel, it is very easy to find being on the main street, and there are plenty of signs for this hotel as you approach Eager. We got a really great welcome from the Lady & Gentleman on the front desk, they greeted us like old friends and we were made to feel really welcome. They asked where we driven from, we explained that we had spent the day at Gila Cliff Dwellings and had driven through some wonderful scenery along HWY 15 & 180. They told us about a lot of other things that we had missed seeing, including “The Arrow Tree”. They explained that Archers come from all over the USA to try and stick an arrow into this tree & that there are dozens of arrows stuck in it. If you get chance try to find it, it is interesting. The room was large & very clean. The bed and the pillows were very comfortable, and we had a great night's sleep. The breakfast was excellent, there was plenty of freshly cooked hot food, and a lot of other items to choose from. The staff running the breakfast room were very friendly and could not do enough to help people. All the staff at this hotel were really friendly and helpful. When we checked out, the lady on the front desk even asked if we needed any maps or directions printed out. Great Service. The only problem we had was parking our car, there are insufficient parking spaces when the hotel is busy. On our side of the hotel there are 22 rooms but only 15 parking spaces, 2 of which are disabled. Most of the spaces were occupied with workmen's trucks. At the end of the hotel one of the trucks which was pulling a large trailer was parked sideways across 7 spaces. I asked if there were any disabled people staying at the hotel that night, and if not, would I be able to park in one of those spaces. The answer was No, & parking is on a first come first served basis. So, I had to park my car against a flower bed, about as far from the hotel entrance as it was possible to go without leaving the hotel grounds & hope that I did not cause other people a problem getting their vehicles out. Overall this is a really nice hotel run by really great people. We are planning another road trip in this area soon and will definitely stay at this hotel again. But because of the parking problem, we have given this hotel 4 stars instead of 5.
Overall the rooms have been cleaner than my last review in 2015. I continue to choose this hotel each yr over others in the area when I travel to Eagar. Microwave and fridge in each room. Breakfast area is clean and good food. The staff is friendly. Housekeeping folded one of my wet towels and put it back on the shelf w/clean towels the first day of my stay this year-ugh-but overall they did a very nice job cleaning and providing a comfortable place to stay.
Whenever we travel I alway look for a Best Western in the area we want to stay. I know we will always get a nice room and the motels themselves are alway nice and clean. People checking is in/out are alway nice and friendly.
First thing when we walked into our room, there was a big half dead flying grasshopper; other than that, room was clean. Not much of a variety with breakfast; no pastries. Breakfast attendant was very helpful and friendly.
We stay at the BW anytime we are in Eagar. It is always a good stay. The room was clean (as always) , the place was quiet, and the ladies at the front desk were friendly (as always). Upon check-in we got a gift bag for being BW Reward members and were asked if there was anything we needed to make our stay more comfortable.(Not all places care enough to ask you this...,reward member or not!) The BW offers free Wi-Fi and has a breakfast (continental) that starts early in the morning and also offers a "to go bag" if you have to leave before breakfast is ready. We would suggest this hotel to friends/family w/out a doubt.
My wife and I stayed at this BW between June 26-28, 2019. The hotel is clean and basic but comfortable. The downside was that the breakfast was mediocre at best. We could stay at the hotel again but we would eat breakfast next door at Trail Riders restaurant--very good for breakfast.
Very noisy with workers coming and going all night long. Employees banging doors and talking in the hallway outside of our room at 4 in the morning. Staff very rude, did not greet us. worst Best Western we have stayed in.
What is so special about this BW to justify the high rates? The room was ok, nothing special. The WiFi was very sketchy and slow. Breakfast choices were limited, but the attendant hustled. Nice staff.
We checked in here on a weeknight traveling with a car club across country. We were warmly received properly checked into our rooms. Rooms are large but certainly adequate bed was comfy pillows were good. Breakfast was OK not outstanding. Overall this is an older property but it's been very well-maintained and kept up to date.
A little mountain atmosphere in the lobby, nice and serviceminded folks working here. Allright rooms, good breakfast, walking distance to the basics you need (resturant, pub and groceries). Some small issues with bath room that with a little proactive maintenance could have been avioded.Total impression is really good.
The hotel is old but remodeled. You can tell. Our main complaint was that it was over priced for the area, season and day of week. No problems with personnel, cleanliness or functionality. The area seems to be a summer destination.
This is a smaller hotel than other Best Westerns we've stayed at. The room was a nice size though, with the usual amenities, TV, fridge, microwave, etc. It was quiet and clean. The breakfast was a bit lacking in both variety and quality, but there is a very good restaurant right next door. Overall, I would recommend the hotel, and I would stay there again. Book ahead for availability and the best price.
Nothing major, just a lot of little thing added up. like not replenishing the coffee packages and sugars in the room. High price with breakfast being the only extra, workout room being used as a store room, attitude of people at desk, this was a 2nd chance and they failed. I won't be back.
My stay was not very good. Trouble is the options in eagar are that good either. Mold in the bathrooms, broken bed frame, check in staff unfriendly, breakfast was good, TV worked, good location, quiet for the most part,
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The check in/check out process was quick and easy. The hotel was clean and quiet. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will most likely be staying here in the future.
To be in the middle of no where, this is a nice property. The shower water needs to be turned down and easier to control. The breakfast was typical. The pillows were terrible--too soft. There are several restaurants in the very next town. The property was pet friendly, which we needed.
A Best Western hotel is always a good choice because of the breakfast, but since this hotel also has an available discount at the restaurant next door, dinner is also terrific! The room was quiet and adequate for our travel.
We love the Best Western Sunrise Inn.We love staying here and always have a great sleep, great water pressure in the shower, great breakfast, and marvelous customer service. We always feel welcome as we walk in the front door, and so relaxed as we enter our room.
Problems we encountered during our 2-night stay: No roll-a-way bed, as requested with reservation, and not enough towels/washcloths for the number of people on the reservation. When roll-a-way bed arrived, there was a crawling insect in the sheets (not a bedbug). This was reported to front desk staff who handed us new linens and more towels. The lamp next to the TV was not working, so we took it to the front desk and were told maintenance would replace it--this never happened. At breakfast, the waffle maker was broken, as was the toaster, so the hostess offered the use of the toaster in the kitchen, which had only two slots working out of four. On the second night of our stay, the HVAC unit was blowing only cold air (outside temps in the 30's). Maintenance promptly came and replaced the unit. After all this, we were surprised that there was no offer of a discounted stay or compensation for all the problems and inconveniences. We would not stay there again, nor recommend this motel to anyone else.
I have stayed at this hotel twice now and I could not be happier. I plan on making this my place to stay when I am in the area. I will recommend it to my family and friends as well. We are planning a wedding in June of 2019 in the area and I hope this can be a place for our guests to stay.
Place is and older property but very nice, clean and reasonably priced. Has a good restaurant next door along with a nice grocery store, both within easy walking distance. Easy to find and a very helpful courteous staff.
This hotel was not very clean when we stayed here. We asked for a non-smoking room but the room we stayed in smelled like an ashtray. When we asked the front desk about it they said it was a non-smoking room. Unfortunately people are not considerate and it smelled like someone smoked in there anyway like a chimney. I don't blame that on the hotel but the rooms are old and need updating. The bed was comfortable enough. I probably wouldn't stay here again unless they did some updating but the price was right, it is very budget friendly.
When I checked motel names for this town on my GPS, I din not recognize any of them except for Best Western. So brand familiarity brought me here. However, I got total sticker shock when I was told the price! I decided to stay anyway since at least I knew what to expect at a Best Western. The room was clean but the bedding was not that comfortable. Even though this is now a non-smoking motel, I could still smell the musty cigarette smoke smell from the old days. Staff was friendly and the hot breakfast was very good and well tended to.
The friendly hotel staff accommodated us in a variety of ways. We had our two dogs with us, and the staff enjoyed meeting them. We also asked to heat and eat our microwave dinners in the breakfast room, which the staff nicely said would be absolutely fine. (There is a supermarket next to the hotel, which is very convenient, as well as a restaurant that gives 10% off for hotel customers.) Even though it's an older hotel, it has nice upgrades, has reasonable rates, allows pets, is clean and quiet.
This is our "go-to" hotel en route to various points in the Southwest that we frequently get to travel between: Albuquerque and Phoenix. The hotel staff were "Eager" to please, even from before we arrived. They fulfilled our request for a room on the first floor, and gave us a nice one on one of the corners. The room was more quiet than we expected with exterior doors. The A/C unit had a "Fan Only" feature, which not all hotel rooms have; this makes for quieter sleeping, too. Another plus was that the water pressure in the shower was stronger than at most hotels we've stayed at.
Top notch. Very friendly staff and very clean rooms. Everyone was willing to go above and beyond. Can't beat the breakfast and the young man taking care of that deserves any and all tips. He goes out of his way to make sure area is clean and food is plentiful. Highly recommend this place and will definitely stay there again.
This is a very nice and welcome spot after a long drive. The staff was pleasant yet professional, and the room was quiet, clean, and everything worked just fine. The breakfast was just so-so, although that generic offering now seems to be the standard. It's on our long-distance path, and so we intend to stay here again. P.s. The restaurant next door is barely passable, OK if there's nothing else.
We had 2 rooms, one was very nice, the other a disaster. The toilet was coming off of the seal! The desk clerk did not know how to check road conditions for fires or other local information. Being a small town, this should have been very easy. The 2nd room was very noisy from the pipes above.
Great place to stay in Eager. Very clean, comfortable, and friendly staff. Will definitely stay next time we are traveling in the area. Restaurant next door was very good with wide range of food and adult beverages.
We stayed two nights here at the beginning and end of a trip. They gave us the same downstairs room which was nice. Room's are neat and clean, good breakfast, check in and check out was easy. They even gave us rags to clean our motorcycles.
Stayed one night. Check-in and out fast and efficient. Staff is great. Breakfast area staff member takes personal interest and pride. Room was very clean and quiet. Great place to stay for one or more nights.
A slightly dated Best Western, but clean and comfortable with a super-friendly and knowledgeable staff. Breakfast was traditional complimentary, but just fine and available at 5am which was a plus for me with my travel schedule. Very comfortable stay.
Very nice hotel it was quiet and comfy the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. This is an older hotel but the upkeep was excellent. The parking is plentiful and there's a very good restaurant right next door.
This BW is standard small town two storey drive up type. Very well received at check in, Standard room smallish tv limited channels, good bed, pillows ok, quiet area, no pool. In a very attractive mountainous area worth a two day stop. Just a few steps from the room is a restaurant with a good standard of food and is licenced. The hotel provides a continental breakfast ( didn't try it ) but recommend you try the restaurant. The ham is great and all is reasonably priced. A very nice stay
This hotel is clean and well stocked. The heater unit is one of the best at maintaining a constant temperature and easiest to use I have ever had in a hotel. Overall, I liked it...until the smoke detector started beeping and saying "low battery" every half hour at 2am. It is currently 3:20 am, and here I sit, wide awake after calling the front desk and being told that it can't be fixed tonight and my only option is to switch rooms. The worker at the front desk even had the nerve to get a testy tone when I asked if she was serious. Yes, I want to move all 3 of my small children, one of whom is now awake, and the dog and all my luggage to another room at 3am when it is 23 degrees outside and I have to drive 5 hours, tomorrow, vs someone from the hotel walking up here to change a battery. Yes, that sounds like a wonderful plan. If they don't have 24 hour maintenance, they need to stay on top of maintaining their equipment, period. I will not be staying here again and I cannot, in good conscience recommend it to anyone else. Try something in Pinetop.
We enjoy staying here on our trips through Arizona. It is always clean and the people are always friendly and helpful. So glad we could get an extra blanket for our last stay, it was chilly that night! We saw that the breakfast room had been updated, but we left so early that we couldn't get to try it. It is nice that the hotel is so close to a restaurant and a grocery store so we could get some food when we got there. We liked the Executive room which had a desk with a comfortable office chair and also a sofa with a coffee table. The King bed was also comfortable. Highly recommended!
The room was clean, smelled fresh. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast room was nice, they even had real plates instead of paper. The young man working in the breakfast room was really nice and helpful.
Very friendly staff. Clean and well-kept. Appears to be the best option in the area by far. Exterior has been renovated and the parking lot asphalt looks brand new. Our king bed room was pretty spacious - lots of room for ancillary "stuff" that you might not want to leave in your vehicle overnight. The lavatory is outside of the toilet and bathtub/shower room is convenient for sharing. The counter space was quite large. It adjoins a small open closet area for hanging clothes or placing suitcase. Good water pressure in the shower. One open electrical outlet on each side of the bed. Could have used more. I'm not a big fan of the pillow-top mattress fad. The mattress seemed a little soft for my taste. Pillows and covers were OK. I could see daylight around the exterior facing door, so the weatherstripping could have been better but it was not bad. With the extreme cold outside, it meant that the heater ran a little more (and dried out the air even more, if that was possible here in the desert). The room was very quiet. We were on the back side of the property. The door to our room faced a side street, the property was only about 50% occupied and this seems to be a quiet town in general. WiFi was slow at times. With people streaming shows these days, that doesn't surprise me. Breakfast options of eggs, (very good) sausage, bread & pastries, waffle maker, dry cereal and oatmeal packets. Yogurt. Mix-in ingredients for yogurt, granola, oatmeal. Basic fruit: bananas, oranges, apples. Juices. Really good coffee. Almond milk upon request, but did not have gluten free cereal as noted on the sign in the breakfast area. I've listed every minor thing that could be improved. However, overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
Can't say enough good stuff about this Best Western. The people who manage it are great. Very accommodating and nice. Very comfortable rooms. We would stay again in a minute. If in the area, stay at the Best Western Sunrise Inn. BTW Eagar AZ is 1 mile from Springerville.
Great people working the desk and great room too. It was clean and the breakfast was good too. The room was reasonably quiet and felt secure. Overall a great stay at a great price point too! Would stay here again!
Overall it was a nice stay. Friendly staff, good breakfast with lots of choices. Bed comfortable. Restaurant next store was great and there is a grocery store in walking distance. Will stay her again when coming into town.
We were very happy with our accommodations in the Best Western in Eagar, Arizona. The staff were very pleasant, and everything was nice and very clean. The check in front desk worker even knew our friends/family we were visiting. Small town life is great! Thank you!
nice motel. price was a little higher than it should be. average breakfast. staff very nice. have stayed here before and will again. good restaurant nearby. best hotel in area in my opinion. it is also a pet friendly place.
Nice motor motel in great updated condition. Spacious room, nice beds and bedding. The breakfast was very good and the attendant was very hard working and kept everything filled and the room clean. Stayed here on our way to the Petrified Forest.
We stay here when we drive to and from Phoenix en route to Ohio. It is always a reliably clean and pleasant hotel with friendly staff and a comfortable room. Close to a restaurant and a grocery store, it is a good location for passing through with little extra driving to get a bite to eat and to get some supplies for the next day's drive. Highly recommend it for the area, which is beautiful too.
We traveled 500 miles the day we stayed at this hotel. We got there late and were totally exhausted. We found a well kept facility both inside & out and a friendly, helpful staff. Our room was unexpectedly large with a very comfortable bed and a nice, comfortable loveseat. The room was well appointed and met all of our needs, and it was extremely clean. Our most pleasant surprise was breakfast. While the selection wasn't enormous, it would meet anyone's dietary needs, and it was delicious. The young man who is in charge of it is delightful with a sunny disposition, and his culinary skills are quite good. The one single thing that could stand improvement is the fitness room. A little more space and at least a set of free weights and a little more comfortable recumbent bike would be great! Otherwise, this is one of the best small hotel/motels that we've had the pleasure of staying in over the years and in a lovely community as well. Job well done!!
The staff was amazing. Breakfast was very good. Bashas grocery store was right next to the hotel. The restaurant next to the hotel was within walking distance and had great food that was reasonably priced.
We always enjoy our stay in Eagar at the Best Western Sunrise Inn. We find so many things to do in this & surrounding areas. The employees seem to be quite helpful & friendly. The beds are very comfortable & we get great sleep. The breakfast assortment is great.
Well kept property with clean spacious rooms, firm beds. Very good breakfast with some healthier options. Staff goes out of their way for guests. Convenient location next to decent local restaurant. Recommended hotel when in this area.
I stayed at this hotel once before. My second stay was not as awesome, the room wasn't in the best shape and there was old food in the refrigerator. However, this was quickly corrected and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you.
This is a lovely, clean property that has all the amenities and comfort of a large hotel. I've stayed here many times over the last 25 years and will continue to go back. Highly recommend if one is in the area or just passing thru and needs a place to stay.
We needed a place to stay just for one night and have always been happy with Best Western. This place was perfect for weary travelers and the restaurant next door was fabulous. We will definitely stay here again when traveling to Tucson.
We were happy with our 3 night experience in Eagar. Friends staying at other motels did not have as good of an experience as we did. The Trailrider's Restaurant next door was excellent. Ate there all 3 days. Purple doors on each unit was an interesting choice of color. Would use it again if returning to the area.
Stayed 3 nights to enjoy the white mountains. We found the hotel centrally located and close to places to eat and even a grocery store next door. I was satisfied with the service and the comfort of the bed.
BW Sunrise Inn in Eagar, AZ, is always my first choice of a place to stay when I am in the beautiful White Mountains of Arizona. The property is well maintained, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.
There are a lot of fine Motels in this area and I will stay here every time. Very helpful staff and great accommodations. Easy to find, quiet location next to a Great family restaurant and a supermarket. Highly recommended.
We spent one night here (thank God). The bed we're comfortable but the problem was the ice machine and breakfast. Being Arizona and summer, we had a cooler. The only ice machine for the entire hotel was broken. We went to a convenience store to buy ice and that sucker was one large ice block. We bought two of them and they were still large chunks of ice at the end of our trip. Also, their breakfast was sparse. We have had much better breakfasts from other Best Western hotels.
Highly recommend this Best Western, the suite and grounds very clean, the bed was comfortable, the convience of the amenities not only on the suite but on the grounds was very nice, the staff was professional, yet friendly and if the need be I will stay there again!
I frequently stay here when in this part of the state. The people are friendly the rooms are clean and there is a great restaurant next door. The staff is very accommodating if you have extra needs such as a ground floor room or extra parking.
We stay at this hotel as a break in the drive between NM and Las Vegas NV. We have always been well treated, given clean quiet rooms and great service. This hotel is easy to find, has good parking for large vehicles, and is near both a good grocery store and a great steak house.
This place is OK, but my night was ruined by a smoke detector low battery warning. Seems that the battery should not have been low at the end of June, IF the batteries were replaced on an annual schedule. The front desk was hardly sympathetic. In my experience, such a problem has warranted some compensation (at other hotel chains). Not the case at this hotel.
Wonderful place to stay in the area of Arizona's White Mountains. You Might be surprised at the friendliness of the citizens here...including the hotel staff!! Eastern Arizona is a prize and the amenities in the area, including the food are really great.
Sunrise Inn is very clean; all the staff were courteous and helpful. Everything worked in the room and it was clean. The surrounding area is in beautiful country. It is close to the Sipe Wildlife Area. Restaurants were nearby. The staff was very informative about places to visit and other sightseeing activities. Eagar is a very quiet, pleasant area. Small town USA.
I stayed here 4 nights for business. I would have given this motel a better review but there were a few hiccups. The good: The old gentleman who checked me in was very friendly and welcoming. The morning gal who worked the front desk was also very nice. The bed was comfortable, room was well appointed, had coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. Shower was good. Room was relatively clean. The average: breakfast was "okay" each morning. The bad: The first room I was assigned had no air conditioning. I was told they could not get a maintenance man until the next day and they were sold old so they could not change my room. The next day when I returned from work the AC was still not working. I called the front desk and was told the maintenance man switched out the unit. I'm sure this was BS as it looked exactly like the same AC unit and was blowing warm air. Thankfully they were able to switch rooms for the next 3 nights. The new room had air conditioning but the bathroom night lite flickered on/off throughout the night. When I turned off the bathroom light it also flickered off/on continuously. The last morning i noticed the coffee that was replenished was only decaf and there was no regular coffee replenished. There were also small gnats in the room all over the curtains and in the bathroom. One of the mornings I was getting coffee in the breakfast room and my coworker was speaking in a slightly louder than normal tone. The breakfast room attendant actually shushed her. I couldn't believe it. When we looked up at he the attendant, she said, "oh, i was just clearing my throat". The younger guy working the front desk was sort of a jerk and seemed annoyed that I wanted to switch my room so I would have air conditioning.. He also said the latest checkout they could give was 12noon. He was very unfriendly and not very customer service oriented. There are very few choices to stay in Springerville/Eager, so in the future I will probably stay here again if I on business.
I've stayed at several best western hotels and have always been impressed but not this time. Upon check in there were two ladies behind the desk. The older lady helped check me in while the younger one continued to play on her phone even after another guest walked in. This is a motel, the room was spacious but not very clean. My kids slept on the sofa bed and when we removed the cushions it was obvious they don't bother to vacuum under the cushions. The bed was already made which made me wonder how long it'd been since the bedding had been washed. The toilet wasn't secure so when you sat down it tipped a bit. The breakfast was okay however my daughter got an apple and when she bit into it she discovered it was rotten. I let the staff know but he seemed unconcerned. The downside is there aren't that many accommodations in the area and even though this is the worst best western I've been to its one of the nicer motels in town.
We stayed here one night. The rooms were big, comfortable and very quiet. Carl at the front desk was a pleasure to deal with. A nice restaurant within walking distance served great food. The hotel offers breakfast.
This Best Western really is the Best Western. Comfortable bed, great TV and Internet. Great selection of food items at breakfast . Close to restaurants, gas stations, grocery store next to the motel and just like home.
Nice little gem in the Round Valley of Eastern Arizona. Walking distance to a restaurant and grocery store. Room was quite large, and the staff was accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was quite good and a variety of choices.
This is a decent motel in a town with not much competition. Breakfast is good, room okay, with exception that a/c and heating system in our room was very difficult to control. We would get hot, set the thermostat down, and the heat would continue to run. Not sure if it was just this room or applicable to others. Also, while we were there, 2/3 of the parking lot was unavailable due to repaving. Maybe that problem is fixed by now. They did offer parking in next-door grocery store lot.
When main house cleaned the rooms very good other cleaners below average. Construction work in the main Carpark this caused parking problems. Facilities in the Hotel Limited. Night Porter very friendly and helpful.
Absolutely beautiful place to stay. We wanted a particular room on the first floor. Wasn't available, so the clerk upgraded us to an executive king at the same price. It was very very nice - quiet, even though it was on the front corner of the facility. Quiet heater that did the job well. Room was clean and sparkly. Great wifi speed, television with lots of selections. The rate was great, the breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed this visit. With a good restaurant next door, this one is due for a return.
Arrived after a long day on motorcycles. Rooms were all ready, great staff, clean rooms, awesome water pressure in showers. Can't find enough about this place. Would stay here again if in the area. We stayed two nights while we toured around the area. Close to grocery store and gas station. Has hot breakfast every morning.
Passing through the area and needed a place to stay one night. Came in with no reservation and the staff was very friendly and got me checked in quick. The room was large, comfortable and clean. Good continental breakfast.
I arrived at the hotel in the evening. It was cold and windy outside but the hotel had my room warm and toasty. The room and other areas of the hotel were clean, the breakfast choices were adequate, and the staff was courteous and helpful. At the end of a long workday, I appreciated being at this welcoming facility!
Recently stayed one night at this property. We had a room with 2 beds, microwave, frig and although an older property - it was clean, comfortable, updated enough and decently priced. The bathroom was very small (just like most of the older properties).. but okay. Rooms have an outside entry. It was quiet enough. We did not get up in time for breakfast, but one is offered. We had a decent stay, would recommend and would stay at this property again if in the area. .
This is a great motel. Easy to get to and near a good restaurant and store for supplies. Large rooms with good water pressure and clean bathrooms. We stay there on our way home from Las Vegas NV. This is our second stay at this motel.
Wish I wasn't exaggerating, not a very nice motel. Floors and bathroom were dirty, bed linen smelled musty but the bed was comfortable. Decided to eat breakfast next door at Trailblazers, a very good restaurant, so don't know what the breakfast was like here. Hotel was in the middle of nowhere so there wasn't much choice, I suppose this is why it was so expensive. Definitely not good value for money.
We've stayed many times at the Sunrise Inn and have never had a "bad" stay. Check in/out is easy ...ALL employees are very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good...internet was slow however. This time around, I did experience a very uncomfortable bed. It was VERY firm ...and having had two back surgeries it caused some concern (I had a difficult time walking in the morning). The hotel does allow pets but we never heard any of the dogs we saw upon check-in. Very quiet/clean place... has been every time we've stayed. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. :)
Staff very friendly, good breakfast, rooms clean and large, easy access, restaurant walkable, a great stay BUT these days good internet is essential to me. Internet cut in and out, refused to allow even short news videos, just very frustrating. The wifi needs an upgrade.
We were pleasantly surprised with this property. Carl at the front desk was very accommodating with our requests and gave us a good recommendation for dinner. We also received a discount at the restaurant that Carl recommended.
Room was clean, beds were newer with different types of pillows. My bed was firmer than I am used to. Walls are a bit thin-like all budget hotels. I think this was the nicest hotel in the area. The breakfast had yogurts/oatmeal/fruit cups. Make your own waffles, donuts/muffins etc. They don't have extra staff to deliver items to room at night time.
If you like Best Western like we do this is the place for you to stay. It is located in a short distance from lots of good restaurants. The staff were great and the room was awesome. Good quality bedding, very clean room and staff that makes you feel like you are special. We were welcomed at check in with a goodie bag of water, chips and cookies. Just because we are members. The morning breakfast was also great with 2 workers looking after it and the front desk person was also checking on things every few minutes. Only thing was the toilet paper was very thin and rough.
Nice, clean room, pleasant staff, decent breakfast. Travelling with friends and we all enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay there again when I travel to Arizona's White Mountain area. Would definitely recommend to others.
I had a large room with 2 large beds on the second floor and I was very happy with the cleanliness of everything. The bathroom and the supplied shampoo and conditioner were excellent, access was good even though I was on the second floor, and even though there were some rough looking guests, it turned out they were nice and it was quiet. The breakfast was adequate if not expansive. Good value.
This was our first time at this hotel. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. The breakfast room is a little small for a full hotel, but it worked. The food was typical carbs however they did add in eggs, ham and sausage. We will stay there again when we are traveling through the area.
When we arrived they were just completing their inspection so I don't know if it is always this nice but I think yes. The room was exceptional, even had guest robes which I haven't seen at other Best Westerns. It had great wifi service also. Conveniently located next to a great restaurant, which was nice because breakfast was nothing to brag on, the only thing I can say we did not care for.
Stayed at the Sunrise Inn in Eager, Arizona while on a birding trip. The room was clean and bed comfortable. The Wifi is very poor and the room was not very well insulated from outside noise. Great shower flow and pressure. Continental breakfast not bad. Would stay there again if in the area.
This was a great hotel in Eager. We were so excited about how nice and clean the hotel looked. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the deluxe breakfast in the morning, however, there were no options for those with dairy allergies as far as milk choices, no biggie though. The staff were all very friendly. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends.
From the moment I walked in the door I felt at home! Carl was working the front desk and was just the friendliest person! The hotel is very clean, easy to get to, and has an amazing hot breakfast! I used the fitness room and was very happy to know they give you water and clean towels (some places don't). The room had a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, ironing board, and a hair dryer. The A/C worked just fine and they have flat screen televisions! I was very pleased!
The staff here is so welcoming. the rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is beautiful and accessible to lots of things. After working 12-14 hours it is a pleasure to come back to the hotel and relax.
We had a clean room. We were not disappointed. Questions were always answered and resolved. We most definitely would return.. The breakfast was very good. Besides all the good things so was the fresh fruit offered.
I spent the night on my way to Big Lake with my dog. The hotel staff was extremely helpful. The room was very spacious, clean and well kept. The bed was very comfortable. Had dinner at Trail Riders next door, great food and service. It was hard to watch the local tv stations as the picture wasn't clear, but the rest of the cable channels were fine. Would stay here again!!
The rooms are spacious and open and the staff is eager to help as needed. We enjoyed breakfast and had a comfortable stay - well worth the money. The location is good for reaching Alpine and Springerville, or Big Lake.
Room did not get cleaned during the 3 days we were there even though we requested it twice. The toilet ran over the three days. We requested that it get fixed. The handyman did not attempt to fix the toilet. Breakfast was good. The hotel discounted the last day due to poor service. The discount went to TripAdvisor so I need to check how to get the money back.
We stopped on our way from the Grand Canyon to Alamogordo NM; and this part of Arizona does not have many services. Be prepared for long drives across open ground. The hotel had good service, and I would recommend it as a place to stop and rest for the evening. We liked they it was located right next to a restaurant, which we ate at, later that evening.
We only stayed one night but found this facility really great. The king room was very spacious and comfortable. The bed had quality linens. The carpet was clean. The bathroom was clean and the shower was great. The towels were nice and soft. The sink and mirrors were separate from the toilet.
My daughter and I work at the Best Western In Pinetop, and we have been under pre-evacuation due to the Cedar fire going on right now. The staff at your hotel was so sweet and held a room for us for a couple days as a courtesy in case we got evacuated so we would have a place to go. I know your hotel was pretty full, and you didn't have to do that for us, but you did. Just want to say how much we appreciate what you did for us. Awesome staff, thank you so much.
We had a wonderful time staying at this Best Western in Eagar, Arizona for 4 nights. We had quiet & the room temperature was great & the bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoy all the people who work here & they are always attentive & thoughtful.
My room was clean, comfortable, priced right and worth the stay. Very nice and efficient staff too. I would recommend this hotel for business or family stays. There are good places to eat within easy walking distance. The hotel breakfast was good too. Overall excellent 3 day stay.
We are an older retired couple who travel extensively, often on long road trips. Our star ratings are relative to the type of accommodation and what we expect of it. If a property just meets our expectations for one of its type, we'd rate it a 3. If we're pleasantly surprised, a 4 and if our expectations are very much exceeded, a 5. If it's marginal, we'd give a rating of 2 and if it's really bad (and it seems our experience isn't just a fluke), a 1. While this was a typical Best Western, the room was surprisingly spacious as well as very clean. And the staff was personable and helpful. A good place to stay when passing through and probably if staying in the Eagar area for a couple of days. BrockSanDiego
This motel was very clean and comfortable. I had a great night of sleep. The breakfast was good. The breakfast had all the normal stuff plus hot food (eggs and bacon). There was a great restaurant right next door. A very good price for what you get. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and stay here again if I ever come this way again.
This was a great place to stay for a short business trip. Everyone was very helpful and the room was extremely clean. Also, the restaurant nextdoor called Trail Riders had excellent food and service. I would recommend this to any business traveler or family.
We selected this motel because of its location on our way to Canyon de Chelly, it is a much older motel but clean. It does need upgrading, there were wide gaps in the door for the wind and air to blow in .. with an old fashioned chain lock. It did have a refrigerator and microwave and a good TV. But furniture was old as well as the window coverings .. but I repeat, it was clean. Of the 4 Best Westerns we stayed in on this road trip, it had the worst too soft mattress, if looking for a firm or extra firm, you will not find it here. The breakfast room was fine, plenty to choose from and good coffee.
We found the rooms comfortable and clean, but being close to a major street it was a little noisy. The staff was polite and helpful. This is an affordable place to stay the night. The central Location makes it easy to drive to several facilities.
Wasn't up to the quality that I expected from a Best Western. Carpet hadn't been clean in a while (discovered that when looking for a dropped earring). Breakfast area was very small, especially for the size of the motel. Was crowded between 7:30 and 8:30.
Great hotel. Really lovely and friendly staff. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Beds comfortable, rooms clean. Would definitely recommend. Good food at trail raiders restaurant. Which was recommended by staff. Great and handy supermarket beside hotel.
The room was well cleaned and very comfortable. The breakfast actually had a decent selection for this type of hotel. My only complaint is that the sauna was broken, but everything else was nice and maintained.
Rode motorcycles for 300 miles and got here very road weary. Staff was AWESOME! Room was clean and very comfortable. Being right next to the BASHA grocery store made it easy to stock up on provisions and get some well needed ice cream! Also a restaurant next door with great food
We needed a hotel to stay at so my family could attend the funeral of my grandmother. Upon calling the hotel for our reservation, we were offered a bereavement rate to reduce the cost of the room helping to ease our minds at the time. The room was clean and we were offered a crib for our toddler to sleep in. The sheets of the crib were slightly stained and the curtains of the hotel room still allowed for light to enter into the room from a street light right outside our bedroom but it was not a large hindrance to us. We will be staying here again.
This BW is in a very small community, but was a very nice place to stay. I was surprised. Everything was good. Pillows nice & firm. Newer carpet. Showerhead was great. Breakfast was lacking in that the scrambled eggs & potatoes were cold. I would definitely stay here again. We came from Mesa, AZ and were on our way home to Albuquerque, NM
This is a clean very well run hotel. The staff is extremely nice and very helpful. They offer so many options for breakfast it's unbelievable. The room is clean, comfortable and there is ample parking for larger vehicles. It is located near a grocery store and restaurants and you even get a discount at two restaurants in town. This is definitely the place to stay if you are in the area,
Stayed at this hotel while in the area to cut down a Christmas tree. Staff was extremely friendly an very helpful. We had a small dog which was no problem at all, reasonable fee. Internet was fast, room was clean, well kept, and beds very comfortable. Overall this is a great property and we will not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you!
I am pleased. It was an emergency stop and I had nothing with me (in the way of clothes or toiletries) and they were able to supply me with knowledge and toiletries that I need to make my stay a pleasant experience.
This hotel has a beautiful décor. The rooms are large and well appointed. They are clean and well heated. (We stayed during one of the worst wind storms in November) The staff helped us find a great place to eat and a local store to buy travel supplies. I do plan to go back.
Stayed here one night each way recently en route Santa Fe/Tucson/Santa Fe. Rooms very clean, staff very pleasant, good free hot breakfast, convenient to a Bashas' store and Trailriders, a decent restaurant. Had given a "satisfactory but nothing special" review earlier this year but think that was unfair - given the remote location and lack of other accommodations in Springerville and Eagar, this is a very satisfactory choice. Be sure to put thermostat on 70 and the HVAC on "heat" so that it runs low all the time. Otherwise it will cycle on and off and disturb your sleep.
This hotel accommodated my last-minute decision not to drive 180 miles in the dark. I used my loyalty points for a free stay, but Room Charge Revenue (what's that?) nixed the totally free stay. Good stay, nonetheless. Thanks!
This is an older type motel but the rooms are comfortable & well equipped, but no elevator. Saying that the ceilings are I assume fairly thin as one can easily hear those above moving around & this doesn't help if you are trying to get to sleep at night. I cannot comment of the hot breakfast as I do not have a cooked one but cereal etc. was fine. Staff friendly & helpful.
Our room was clean, and the breakfast was very enjoyable and complete with eggs, sausages, waffles, etc. Every member of the staff we encountered was friendly. A terrific attraction in town is the Casa Malpais Arch. Park & Museum. We didn't expect such a big-city museum in such a small town. Well worth a visit. We also drove out to the Lyman State Park. Just a big mud hole that you pay to see.
We decided to stay here on route to the trinity site, it was a way to break up our weekend getaway. We arrived around dinner time, and where told we get a discount at the restaurant next door, nice we thought. Our room was on the ground floor on the corner, when first we got into the room I was surprised to see a roll away bed, funny it was there we didnt need it or did we ask for it, it was just taking up space, no big deal we'll work around it. next morning at shower time we realized there where only 2 towels for 3 of us, we made do as it was 5:30 in the morning an we wanted to get on the road to get to the trinity site around noon. I left a note on the bathroom sink to ask for 3 towels They provide a pretty good breakfast eggs sausage, waffles, breads, fruit, coffee, juice. On return from our day trip we entered our room, beds made up, no new plastic ware and instead of extra towels, they took all the towels including the bath mat and left us with one used bath towel and a hand towel. Are you kidding me!! so we went to the office to get 3 bath towels, we made do with the one hand towel. It was the most interesting room make up I have ever experienced
We stay at this Best Western quite often & always enjoy our stay. This is a great place to stay for a comfortable sleep! The breakfast choices are plentiful. We love the area & there is always plenty to see and do.
We were very pleased at our stay at the Best Western Sunrise Inn, Eager, AZ. The bed was extremely comfortable, one member of our party left her robe home and there was a comfy terrycloth provided in the room which was quite a surprise in a motel of this price range. The free bottles of water provided daily were also a pleasant surprise. The staff was very helpful and recommendation of a nearby hike was perfect, since we were not familiar with the area.
This is not a modern hotel and is possibly slightly past its best in terms of condition. However, this is compensated for by a friendly and helpful front desk, good breakfast, and comfortable room. It has two floors but no elevator, and rooms open on to the parking areas. My room had everything I needed and was perfectly clean. The wifi and guest laundry worked well. There is a grocery store next door.
The hotel is dated. There is no elevator to the upper floor. This was a problem for us. My understand is the king beds are all on the upper levels. We prefer a king so we made due with having to climb the stairs. However, the hotel is clean, the bed comfortable.
This is an older style motel that is in decent shape. It has two stories with stairs to the second floor (no elevator), so if you have difficulty moving baggage or yourself up stairs, request a ground floor room during the reservation. The hotel has smoking rooms, so specify what type of room you desire. The rooms were clean. The beds were OK comfort wise (maybe a little older), but nothing to complain about. Plenty of pillows. Everything worked fine in the room, including the TV, coffee maker, the refrigerator, and the microwave. The Wi-Fi worked fine and had decent speeds. Can't comment on the breakfast. It ends at 9:00am and we slept later since we were on vacation.
Stayed here many different times. Each time we stay the customer service at the front desk and cleanliness of the rooms declines. Their continental breakfast is always great! Something for everyone to enjoy. The location is PERFECT for activities in the Alpine, Nutrioso, Sunrise, Eagar, Springerville, Greer areas.
