Best Western Plus Cedar City

Arrived after a long travel day. Had a good sleep. Hotel was in good proximity to restraunts. The staffwas friendly. The breakfast was reasonable though I would have liked a gluten-free bread option. Mission accomplished!

Facility was easy to access off freeway, close to food choices, nice clean rooms, really clean breakfast sitting area, excellent fitness gym. Staff was friendly, parking was easy and room was quite. Good value.

Room was not wheelchair accessible. Make sure to check your room first was told it was accessible. Just couple grab bars on the wall don't make it accessible. I'm a lower paraplegic and can get around but paying over 300 dollars for a room you expect it to be accessible. Could not access the shower. Sink counter to low. Bed was to high.

The property is very nice and it has an amazing view of thw snow capped mountains. Eating breakfast by the fireplace while looking outside was a great way to start our morning. Ethan is THE best team member of any best western I have stayed at. (And I have stayed at many throughout the United States) He was very well dressed, very friendly, made checking in personal and didn't treat us like we were just another guest checking in, and very knowledgeable.

Outstanding service throughout our winter stay of four nights. Enjoyed the outdoor patio and fireplace even though it was cold during our stay. Room was large and very clean and parking was plentiful with huge spaces. Mountain views from hotel are awesome. We hope and plan to return again and again!

The location was very convenient. Restaurant choices are close by. Traveling over a holiday weekend we still got a great deal. Breakfast choices were limited. The room location was very nice and big. I would definitely recommend.

Cleaning staff shouldn't eat in the rooms while on the job. I also suggest sanitized pillows not ones smell like bedhead. I over all like the hotel and it's location and the front desk staff were cool.

The staff was friendly and helpful, there were grills and seating set up in an attractive outdoor area, and we had the option of getting a motel style room where we could park right in front of our room. The breakfast was delicious - hash browns, sausage, and make your own waffles were the highlights.

I've stayed in many Best Western properties and can safely say that this one was well up to the standards I expect. The room was large, clean, comfotable and well-equipped - fridge, microwave and an easy chair. The bathroom has everything I needed - a good shower (with a non-slip mat) that was easily adjustable, plenty of large towels and a good supply of toiletries. Breakfast comprised the usual Best Western choices. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient, and offered me helpful local advice when I sought it. Just a pity they couldn't stop the message light on my room's phone from flashing when there was no message! I liked being being able to park close to my room. I found it convenient to have a door to the car park direct from my room without having to go via the lobby. I look forward to my next stay here.

We moved from mother hotel to the BW and it was a pleasure from start to finish. The staff were efficient and friendly, the breakfast was good, the room was large enough and comfortable, loved the soft bed! The best part was the musician who,plays on Thursdays and Fridays, Dave, he was amazing! Loved sitting outside and relaxing to his great music. He was joined by another gentleman who was also,great. Lovely atmosphere. Met the gentleman who does the lovely veggie garden. Very interesting and had some great ideas. Cedar City is a lovely place, clean, safe and attractive. Can't wait to return.

This hotel was lovely — from the flowers and shrubs outside to a very clean room and staffed by nice, helpful people. The breakfast was pretty standard but perfectly good. The fitness room was the best I've ever found at a hotel. The location is close to the airport and within walking distance to the Shakespeare theaters. I would definitely recommend and would definitely return.

Hotel was nice and good location. Very friendly staff . Like the grilling area. Wish did not have to call bestwestern phone service to use loyalty points . Over all room Was nice . Will definitely stay there next time in cedar for work.

A week after our stay, I received a hefty $250 charge for carpet cleaning. I called the hotel and they said we “spilled gasoline or something similar on the carpet.” This is simply not true. We came in late and left the very next morning with no damage done by us. The hotel did not provide evidence of the alleged damage. It left us feeling cheated and disrespected as paying customers.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Cedar City Utah. The rooms were clean, the included breakfast was very good, and the hotel staff were very courteous and professional. I would definitely stay here again.

This was the worst hotel stay I've ever had. We experienced toxic chemical exposure. Staff said the carpets had just been cleaned. They moved us the next day, but the damage was done. There was so much chemical cleaner in the air our hair stood on end when we first got into the room. The chemicals burned our lungs ands our throat. We were hoarse and short of breath for weeks. We tried to get a refund and they were extremely rude about this and refused. THE WORST HOTEL STAY ON RECORD!!!!

I have been staying at name brand hotels such as Hilton properties because of fear of lesser known or private hotels. I stayed at this property as part of a tour through the 5 Utah National Parks. I was pleasantly surprised that the room quality, maintenance and breakfast was much better than expected. I don't know about the price since it was part of the tour, but I would not hesitate to recommend this property for anyone interested in staying in the area. It is close to restaurants.

Outside hotel right off of I-15 in Cedar City. The area is easy to Navigate and gives the feeling of being safe. The hotel featured a nice area that would be great to socialize with other guests or friends. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable. For the money, this is a great place to stay while traveling through. Will always stay again.

The property is beautiful and the staff was super friendly. They even sent us a text message before our arrival to see if there was anything we needed. Definitely want to go back in the summer to enjoy the outdoor amenities.

The only complaint I could have is having a room on the street was very noisy. But this place was super clean and very cozy. I will stay here every time I go home to CA. Staff was friendly. I love the outdoor fireplace and they have beautiful camping spots.

Excellent quality of service, tasty food with a great variety of food to choose from, close to the I-15 Fwy, handicap accessible, large rooms, clean bathrooms and a very beautiful town. Lots to do great restaurants and plenty of shopping. Next to the post office, Lynn's Market, Verizon store, sizzler, And more...

Very disappointing stay. Have stayed here many times, but standards have fallen off. Room was somewhat shabby (the coffee maker fell apart, gritty bathroom floor, eratic heater). Worst was the breakfast, cool and soggy food, staff off chatting instead of attending to guests. Used to be a warm, welcoming place but PLUS no more.

We've chosen this location multiple times to stay while attending the Shakespearean festival at SUU. The facility is very clean. The breakfast is perfectly enjoyable with hot and cold options. The staff is also capable and helpful. The beds are a firm, fantastic sleep, accompanied by fluffy goodness in the form of pillows. The scenery around is also a fantastic addition. Best Western Plus Cedar City is a delightful place to stay. (No compensation was offered for this review.)

Check in was quick, and friendly. Room was a nice size, and had two entrances, one inside, and one outside to the patio area. Breakfast had a lot of good choices to pick from, and the wait staff were helpful.

This BW Plus is an absolute gem. I came to Cedar City for four days of the Shakespeare Festival. This location is walking distance to the beautiful theaters & museum. It has a very nice Chinese restaurant attached, an antique/vintage store next door & a sweet shop next door. It was refreshing to walk through a vegetable garden on site and in the early morning, I enjoyed reading in the meditation garden. The staff were always pleasant & responsive. When I return, this is my first choice.

This hotel staff, room, breakfast and activities on the grounds made for a very pleasant stay. We would stay at this hotel again. People are friendly, room was very clean. Checkout time was 11:00 am. Thank you!

No 30pm plans, no 110. Never said a word when I paid the $60. When I went to the front desk to get help I was then told that all sites were 50amp only and they didn't have adapters. Night as well be boondocking. The electric boxes have the outlets for 110, 30, and 50 - only 50 works with no notice anywhere.

As we strolled back to our room after dinner we came upon a jungle of thriving vegetables, fruits, and herbs, a lovely garden oasis at the BW plus. Brad Salmon the Green Thumb responsible for the robust burst of color and fragrance introduced us to a variety of tastey samples. What a surprise encounter to meet Brad and enjoy his engaging style and wealth of knowledge --well done.

I so appreciated the exceptional staff, the clean rooms and the outdoor area! The outdoor area is lovely and quite relaxing; it more than makes up for the fact that there is no pool. The breakfast is not as expansive as that of other BWs, but it is good enough to start your day well. Now on my list of favorite BWs in the Southwest!

This Best Western stands out among other hotels of this class. The landscaping, red rock and other features make it unique and blend in with Cedar City surroundings. Staff is friendly, good breakfast and comfy beds. Rooms are clean. Cold AC.

The Hotel Room was clean and new, the staff friendly and professional, and the hotel grounds were very pretty with flowers and rock... but it was the extras on the grounds that really stood out for us! First, there was a Level 2 EV charger (need more, but this EV charger is one more than most hotels). Second (and our kid's favorites) were the giant Chess Set, a "train" water fountain made from large slabs of rock that you can climb, and a wonderful outdoor garden that Brad the caretaker was very proud to share with us! So unique! Oh, and there is a yummy ice cream shop walking distance from the hotel. We stayed at this hotel on our way to see family in Colorado and enjoyed the extras so much we ended up staying here again on our way back. Thanks for a great stay, twice!

My husband and I stayed for a week to visit parks and go to the Shakespeare Festival. This hotel is phenomenal. It is extremely clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious, fresh, and has a lot of variety. This hotel is the most unique one I have ever stayed in because it has a beautiful garden full of flowers, vegetables, and herbs. And it is for the guest's use! There is also a fire pit and a splash pad. The staff who maintain the gardens are friendly and knowledgeable and will give you a tour of them and answer any questions about the plants.

I always love staying here. This is a hotel that really cares about guests. The staff goes above and beyond, including helping find a auto shop for a broken bumper. Be sure to check out the garden and giant chess game in the back. Thanks Best Western Cedar City.

After coming from a crappy place Baymount this was heaven! The bed was a king, clean, nice big bathroom counter, shower/tub, and over all a great piece of property! Would recommend this property, did have a nice fire pit with bbq smokers outside. And was super quiet!

Settle in … this will be lengthy … I planned the final night of a length stay in Utah for Cedar City and, as a Best Western Diamond Select member, opted to make a prepaid reservation at the BW Plus Cedar City. I arrived shortly after 3 pm (the published check in time), went to the front desk and was handed keys to a room. When I asked the front desk clerk where the room might be, he pointed me down a hallway. I proceeded down the hallway and came to something of a dead end — it turned out my room was in a second building at the property. I walked to that building, up a very narrow flight of stairs (slot canyons are wider) and opened the door to find a room that had not been well cleaned and was right along one of Cedar City's main streets — in other words, lots of road noise. I returned to the front desk and asked to be assigned to a different room. The front desk clerk said he would do that — but the second room was not ready and might not be ready “for a while”. Given the bad vibe, I asked the clerk for a refund of my prepaid reservation and advised him I would find other accommodations for the night. The clerk said he could not do anything about that. I asked to speak with a manager and was told that was not possible. I did an about face, went to my car and used my phone to procure other accommodations that proved to be far better and for two-thirds of the rate I paid for the original reservation. Once into my new accommodations, I reached out to BW Customer Service and opened a ticket seeking a refund of payment for something that was in no way to BW standards. BW Customer Service advised me today that the BW Plus Cedar City manager was “standing by their position” that no refund would be forthcoming. In doing so, the manager misrepresented to BW Customer Service what had happened — saying I had add it into a second room and was displeased when in fact said second room was not ready and I would be forced to wait an unspecified amount of time. I called the BW Plus in Cedar City, spoke with said manager (Samantha), expressed my displeasure with her position and her misrepresentation of what had happened … and she hung up on me. While both BW Customer Service representatives were awesome to try and secure the refund, the property manager … not so much. The Abbey Inn down the street proved far superior and — again — at a far better rate (breakfast included). No doubt there are other Cedar City lodging properties that would prove to be a better and far more pleasant experience when there … and by all means go out of your way to eat at Centro Woodfired Pizza (outstanding).

Overall, I loved this room. It was huge, and it even had a really nice free-standing magnifying mirror. It was overall clean, but the towels had a musty smell. This was my only complaint, but sadly, it would make me not want to stay again.

Property is convenient to downtown, updated furnishings, outstanding house service by Rocio, and a good breakfast selection. Will definitely return on our next trip through the area. We were on a 3-days camping trip to eastern Nevada and decided to go through Cedar City.

Upon arrival at normal check in time, young lady at desk was curt, without telling me where to fine the room and handed me the key for a room that turned out to be five feet from the desk next to the breakfast room. We had made reservations 6 months ahead with Best Western membership website and had asked for a quiet room. I turned around and asked for another room and was made to wait at the end of the line to get another room. Without directions, we searched for the room and had to wait again in back of the line for directions to another building on site. The clerk informed us she had shown us on a map where it was..really? Quieter building, decent room, next to laundry room for maids used early in morning. A nicer desk clerk greeted us the next morning. A minimum stay of 2 days...why???

Very well maintained and the court yard is really great with fire pit, giant chess set, fun area for kids, beautiful landscape. All employees are ready to do whatever they can to help. The breakfast is just standard but we didn't have to go out.

The staff made sure all our needs were met. Very friendly and professional. Breakfast was good and had different hot food every day. Located near restaurants, supermarkets, and other attractions. Very satisfied with cleanness.

Large and in the heart of Cedar City, we highly recommend staying at this hotel! The guest services were outstanding, the room was clean, and the breakfast selections were bountiful. The hotel is steps away from the cute downtown area where there are museums, shops, and restaurants to peruse. You can enjoy s'mores in the back area with the big fire pit, and in the summer, we noted the vegetable garden would be in full-swing. Adjacent to the property is the best little bakery and ice cream shop, as well as a Chinese restaurant. We also noted RV hook-ups in the back. This hotel has it all, and for a very reasonable price!

A return visit to this property due a very clean and well maintained motel. The front office staff always very courteous. Convenient location for restaurants. Cedar City well situated for visiting National and State Parks.

Hotel is an older one, but seems to have been updated. We were on the side that faced W200 street and the street noise was loud as traffic accelerated from the light on the corner. Staff was friendly and helpful and the room seemed clean. Bed was comfortable and other than the street noise, this was an ok stay. Grounds are really nice with a outside area with fire pit and chairs, but weather was not conducive to outside activities. Breakfast was standard hotel fare, but hot and the eating area well kept. Would stay here again but would get a room facing the courtyard, not the street.

Booked by phone. Price high, $213, a Friday night. Outside architecture was nice, but in the old motel style. We were disappointed the pool was removed a few years ago. The ice machine in our section was broken. Room ok, breakfast good for a chain motel. The manager promised a ten percent discount because of our displeasure, but did not honor that at checkout. The clerk was insolent when I asked for a receipt and asked about the discount. Location is good, but this place is not up to Plus standards. Old style, no pool.

This is a great Best Western location. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The room was very large and clean. Parking is ample and safe. There are restaurants, banks and stores within walking distance. The breakfast was wonderful and plentiful. This will be a definite stop anytime I'm in the area.

Clean and well appointed rooms with comfy beds. Breakfast was good and they kept the eating area clean. Centraly located and there are bikes you can use to see the town. Great place to stay and less expensive than St George.

We stayed at this property in late August and were glad we did. First thing to point out is that it is on the left side of the street as you come into town. There is another Best Western on the right side. The room was large; the only disappointment was that the bathroom was on the small side. This hotel had great employees working there from the moment we checked in until we left the following morning. They were extremely friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Before we arrived the hotel said that it was a grab and go breakfast but we were pleasantly surprised that they had quite a few items available for breakfast including some hot ones. There is a large area in the lobby for you to sit and enjoy your meal. We were on our way to Capitol Reef the next day but if you are going to visit either Bryce or Zion I think this would be a fine place to stay also.

The room was nice but we had trouble with the TV. After an hour of back and forth with the front desk, we were moved to another room (at my request, not offered by the front desk). The guy at the front desk said that we could put in a work order with maintenance and when I asked how long it would be for maintenance to get there, he told me it wouldn't be until the following day. Since we were only staying one night, it seemed ridiculous that he'd even suggest that I put in a work order. We moved to another room - the TV worked but was difficult. The maximum volume wasn't loud enough to hear. Not sure if we'd stay here again. Continental Breakfast was poor.

I stay at BW+ every year when I attend the Utah Shakespeare festival. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and having a larger in-room refrigerator is handy for beverages & snacks. Easy walking distance to the campus and Main Street. Highly recommend!

This hotel is right next to an amazing Chinese Restaurant and a small bakery. It is only blocks away from the venues at SUU's Shakespearean Festival. Very conveniently located! It is clean and spacious.

Personnel, despite to after pandemic staff shortage, were personable, professional, pleasant, and helpful. The help-yourself-garden, landscaping, and firepit were beautiful & a wonderfully nice touch. :)

Staff was very kind and responsive. The facility is very clean and quite attractive. Centrally located to city attractions and restaurants. Plenty of guest parking. Looking forward to our next stay when traveling through Cedar City.

Overall, excellent: outside corridors (yay!), super clean & QUIET: I usually don't sleep well in hotels but did here despite being next to housekeeping & elevator; thankfully walls aren't thin, blackout curtain provided full coverage, AC unit had 'constant fan' option for white noise, bed as far from outside wall as possible, not next to Interstate (altho is on a fairly busy corner but I was set back from the road, as most rooms seem to be). I make this trip often & this'll be my preferred stop in the future. That being said, I do have a few suggestions: Arrived v late & couldn't find a parking space - finally found one next to the street where the hotel parks/charges their electric carts so was a bit of a walk to room. Got a late check-out but housekeeping still came knocking earlier so some miscommunication there. Satellite TV v annoyingly slow to respond (to the point it was almost useless to try to watch, especially with no channel guide in the room). Batteries dead in remote (fortunately had some in my pack that I used). Fridge was dirty (crumbs & sticky spill at bottom).

I wish I had a reason to be in Cedar City longer. This BW had a couple of nice upgrades in the works. There was a life sized chess board, what looked like a community garden, beautiful outdoor seating. It's had some nice updates over the years, and was pretty quiet. Now... If could have found a nice coffee stand nearby, I'm sure there was one, I just didn't find it.

The Cedar City Best Western Plus should offer a master class in how to run a hotel. When we walked in from a long drive we met a super competent and personable man at the desk. He offered to valet our bikes, got us into a quiet room per our request, discussed restaurants and routes to an activity. The hotel lobby and dining area are clean and maintained with care. We'd stayed at very nice hotels on this road trip but none was as clean as this. Breakfast was good. We strolled the outdoor vegetable garden which has cute little placards discussing the history of various vegetables and fruits. Congratulations, Best Western Plus Cedar City for getting it right.

Very clean facility. Bed was comfy. Front desk staff was extremely helpful in locating a restaurant for an evening meal. Room decor is dated but clean and functional. I would guess this is one of, if not the best hotel in Cedar City. The location couldn't be better to explore the downtown area.

We've stayed several times. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. The grab and go breakfast was fine with options like yogurt and muffins and fruit and cereal. It's a great location. Easy to walk to SUU and the downtown strip. A supermarket is also close and a nice municipal park.

The grounds are very well kept and the staff is some of the friendliest I've encountered recently. The rooms are comfortable and the location right in the center of town can't be beat. Despite the traffic on a very busy intersection, our room near the front of the hotel was very quiet.

We were so exhausted from road trip to Nevada and then back up and then searching last minute for rooms for 5 nights. BWP shows up online and wow! the very people we needed to make us feel welcomed were right there... on the phone, at the check in desk and those who served breakfast every morning and ones who cleaned the room. Amazing BWP team work! God bless you all and your families always. BWP is at the perfect spot for someone new in town and felt welcomed by its Team members' promise to take care of you from arrival to leaving. Thaaank you all. The Best Western Plus in Cedar City was great. The people were very nice and helpful.The room was first class as was the bed and pillows. We are trying to locate the pillows and purchase them for our home.

The whole property was very clean and the room was spacious. The staff at the front desk was very courteous and helpful. Reasonable price and good location with plenty of parking spaces. Although we didn't get a chance to try out, there were Chinese restaurant and a dessert shop adjacent to the hotel. We'll definitely stay here again when we visit this city.

Hotel met expectations. There are two Best Western hotels across the street from one another. Verify which hotel you've booked so you don't end up with the front desk telling you they can't find your reservation. The front desk said they get that a lot from guests. The hotel on the South side of the street has bigger signage and so everyone sees that hotel first. The Plus is on the North side of the street.

We had an amazing stay! the room was spotless clean. We were greeted by friendly staff at check in and check out. Everyone was willing to help and they all had a smile on their face (under the mask). Highly recommend this Best Western Plus in Cedar City Utah!

Absolutely loved this hotel. We were in the second building, second floor with a beautiful view of the mountains. No one smoked on the property, everyone who worked there was friendly and helpful. There was always coffee available. The breakfast had to be carried out, not eaten in the lobby because of Covid but it was still really good, empanadas were different but good. cedar City is definitely a college town, so everything is vibrant and lively. It is a good area to stay in order to visit Zion, Kolob Canyons and Bryce Canyon and the local State Parks. Highly Recommend.

This is probably the best Best Western at which we have ever stayed. Our room was immaculate when we arrived, and we were extra pleased that the freezer in the mini-fridge was a separate section that actually kept ice cream frozen throughout our five night stay --- a rarity amongst most chain motels. The continental breakfast was Covid austere, but quite adequate including both dry cereal and microwavable oatmeal, ham and cheese empanadas, blueberry and banana nut muffins, bananas and apple and a rather slick automated pancake maker which produced two pancakes in about a minute. When we turned on our television to get the morning news, we discovered that all of the local channels were offline. The staff went to work on this problem immediately, eventually electing to swap the television for one from another unit. Kudos to their handyman, David, for taking care of our request. All staff members were friendly and went out of their way to ensure that our stay was pleasant. Since the hotel is 1/2 block from the historic downtown section of Cedar City, we were able to walk to the shops and a nearby Lin's grocery store. Great location! Our entire experience was great --- the hotel is highly recommended..

Our family stayed here on our drive back from Montana during the Thanksgiving holidays. The other hotels we stayed in that week all felt extremely clean and that they were following the Covid protocols. This was the only hotel that I didn't feel were adhering to safety measures. The hotel is in a decent location, and we were checked in and out easily. All breakfast options during this Covid time have been compromised at all hotels, this one was no different. Perhaps when Covid is over I would consider staying again, or recommending. But based on this particular stay, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to a friend.

We stayed in one of the 10 RV sites with full hookup. Yrene at the front was very nice and explained the amenities. They normally have a social dinner, but since covid they have the fire pit going with sticks for you to use but you have to bring your own food or marshmallows. We used the laundry, they have two washers and dryers ($5.00 a load between wash and dry). Nice grab and go danishes since no breakfast since covid. I would have given them a five but we never got the WiFi to work. Nice place and very clean would stay here again.

The bathroom was a little outdated, but it was very clean and the water was hot. I was surprised by how comfy the bed was and I am a very picky sleeper. My room was spacious with a mini-fridge and a microwave. I was super happy to have both. There was a second door leading outside, kind of motel style, but don't let that deter you. It came in super handy for ordering pizza. I felt safe and at home. I will definitely return!

Comfortable and clean hotel. Easy to find location with lots to do within walking distance. Friendly and pleasant staff. We will stay again. Highly recommend this hotel. Brekfast was not bad considering covid.

What a cool concept for a hotel to have a small RV Park. You get to use the hotel amenities which was great. We used the fitness center. For a hotel the fitness center is huge. The grounds are well managed. Overall this was a pleasant surprise. Thank you Best Western Plus.

Despite the struggles traveling in 2020, this Best Western location did things right. Check-in and check-out went well, room was ready, clean and comfortable. Location has some unusual amenities such as a large chess set in the courtyard area and a large garden near a central gazebo. While we didn't get to enjoy it, they have a very large breakfast area. The overall feel is better than most Best Westerns we have stayed in during past vacations.

While on a recent road trip with our camper van, we decided a night in a hotel sounded nice. The exceptional rating of this hotel drew me in. Front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. The lobby is beautiful and the grounds are beautiful.The outdoor fire pit was a nice touch, and I imagine that the non covid amenities would have been great. We were originally booked in the main building but we wanted to stay where we could see our camper van from the room, so we were switched to a different building. No problem. Unfortunately, the room we were assigned was rather dirty. It was very clear that it had not been Covid sanitized to the standards they list on their website under their "We Care Clean" policy. There were dirt marks and fingerprints on the doors and light switches. I started to clean the light switches so I didn't get a "before" picture of those, but I did get pictures of the bathroom door, as shown. The carpet was visibly dusty near the lamp, as shown in photo. There were crumbs under the table. There was mold or dirt above the shower, as shown in photos. Spots on the mirror, as shown in photos. Also, we were above the housekeeping rooms. The laundry seemed to go all night. And I assumed they had a pool onsite but you had to go across the street. If I recall correctly, we stayed in 404 or 402 on 9/16/20 and according to the card on the table, the person who cleaned our room was Rocio. My experience was not as exceptional as others' experiences, but I would be willing to give them another chance. Especially if I have more freedom to request a room change and not have to stay near our van.

My husband & I booked this hotel because of it's ability to meet Covid-19 protocols. The building we stayed in had exterior hallways and stairways as an option to avoid using the elevator. All the staff wore masks & the staff responded timely to our requests. The hotel is older, but well maintained. My only complaint is the air conditioner is noisy. Our room was very spacious and we appreciated the large refrigerator. We found the bed & pillows comfortable. The breakfast was disappointing. No juice available on the first day...the dispensing machine was broken. We actually supplemented the hotel breakfast with breakfast items we had brought along with us. The garden area & fire pit were delightful. We ordered take-out dinners the three nights we spent in Cedar City and ate our meals in the garden area. On our last evening, the gardener shared bounty from the garden, including cherry tomatoes, heirloom tomatoes and a perfectly ripe cantaloupe. What a sweet gesture! The on-site laundry facilities were very nice with a sitting area abutting the laundry room.

We have stayed in for 4 nights. It was small granola bar, banana, muffins and small enchilada for breakfast. Only once we have got orange and half&half. It "run-out" even at 6.30 am. While other hotels we stayed in offered a generous choice at breakfast to attract customers at covid times, this manager is cost cautious, It was also noisy there.

Mostly what you would expect from a small town motel except they really jazzed things up with huge pots of flowers, wonderful customer service and a nice clean room. I got text messages from the front desk making sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable, I thought that was a very nice touch.

It's an older place with a facelift. Large rooms. They offer a pathetic breakfast. Granola bars, apples, bananas, etc. Not too much effort there. COVID has really scared the hotel industry. The workout area is great and it was fun to walk through their garden.

We stayed here twice on our way to and from a river trip in Northern Utah. After reading reviews of many other hotels in Cedar City, we chose this because of reviewers' positive feedback about cleanliness and attention to CDC COVID-19 health suggestions. The hotel is located off the I-15 about a mile in the historic downtown area of Cedar City. Though older, it was quite clean. Each room accessed the outdoors so no interior hallways. Easy to get fresh air into the room. The interior was older but spotless and everyone at reception was always masked. We walked to a local pizza place, Centro, where we had a delicious pizza served outside, and got our morning coffee, also a short walk away, at Grind Coffee House. Plenty of room for trailer parking, and nicely landscaped grounds, including a beautiful vegetable garden out back with areas for outdoor dining. Price was excellent for the value, and I would definitely stay here again when in Cedar City.

This hotel has always had kind and supportive staff members. Whenever we are traveling this direction we plan to stop at the Best Western Plus in Cedar City. The rooms are clean and well taken care of.

We stayed here after seeing the five star review here on tripadvisor. There has to be a mistake, or someone if posting false reviews. This place is close to being a dump. It is so outdated that it felt dirty. And if you love the ROAR of an air conditioner, this is the place for you. It was literally the loudest that I have ever heard. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

On Friday, the 31st of July, we looked on the Best Western Plus, Cedar City, website to see what your provisions were because of Covid 19. We have stayed here before and really liked it. We are in a high-risk group, because of our age. So going to our destination in Montana we drove straight through. Seeing the precautions you posted, we felt relatively comfortable staying one night on our return trip to Calif. We called to be sure there would be a room available that had not been occupied for 24 hours before we arrived. We were told that wouldn't be a problem. When we arrived and entered the lobby several people were there. No masks. No indicators for social distancing. No rooms that hadn't been occupied for 24 hours. We were informed everything was pretty much back to normal. Aside from some hand sanitizer and the front desk person wearing a mask, no concessions to the fact our country is in the throes of a pandemic with a thousand deaths a day. We feel your website was very misleading. We were stuck, because of other arrangements and time of day and payment, without an alternative to staying at the Best Western Plus in Cedar City. In the room, my husband was busy sanitizing and using bleach wipes on any “touch” surfaces. We have been diligent about quarantining and social distancing and masks since March. Many friends wanted a report about how this experience would turn out for us. What a disappointment! I believe we were entitled to believe what you put on your web site. You should try to do better. During cycrus the covid-19 virus evacuation from the USA in 2020 March I stopped here on my exodus treck. The room was spacious and well decorated. Very welcoming. The bed was very comfortable. The rook appeared to be well cleaned. The desk cleark asserted they were being very vigilant about vrus-proofing the rooms after every stay. I cannot medically attest to this, but the attention to cleaning detail made me comfortable enough to accept that assertion at face value. THe pool was of course closed but the pool area looked really nice. The price was very reasonable. the hotel is well located not far off the I15 and across the street from a nice mid-line chain steak restaurant I have no problem recommending this hotel to any traveller going through or to Cedar City Utah.

This was a trip of a lifetime, and Best Western Plus Cedar City was a nice place for lodging. Quaint small town with lots of shopping and eating places. Love the mountains, and after a long day of sight seeing in the area, we had a very nice place for rest and good food. .

It was a great hotel that exceeded my expectation. It was clean, the staff was friendly and everyone at the front desk was wearing masks. There was also a beautiful patio on the premises that had a lovely garden, tables and fire pits. I plan to stay there again on my drive back to Los Angeles.

My wife and I stayed here 7/10/20. The hotel is not too far off the exit from I-15, in a safe & quiet part of Cedar City. Our room, 305, was on the first floor. Great! No waiting for elevators & social distancing in them! As soon as we walked into the room I was surprised to see another door on the other side of the room leading to the front parking area. This made it very easy to bring in our luggage, by-passing the lobby. The room, bed, and bathroom were all very clean, and the bed and pillows very comfortable (thanks, Yolanda, for cleaning the room so well before we arrived). I would like to commend Yrene, who checked me in around 10 PM. Not only was she very professional, she was also very friendly during each of the 4 trips I made back out front to speak with her. She answered all my questions about the hotel and about the city. After my wife and I walked into our room and saw what it looked like, I went back out to the front desk and said to Yrene, "that room you just gave us...it's great! We love it!" Of course she was surprised, because most people would come out to complain. But she gave us a great room and I wanted to let her know and make her smile, and she did! I definitely think I will be back in Cedar City on a future trip and the only hotel I intend to stay in is this one! I hope for my next trip the COVID-19 is over so I can sample their hot breakfast! Instead, my wife and I had a nice breakfast at the All American Diner, down the street from the hotel.

We stayed for one night during our road trip to Yellowstone. The rooms are spacious and clean with basic amenities. All unnecessary items were taken off the room due to the current pandemic (magazines). We stayed on the side building with door access from the outside balcony. The receptionist was very helpful and provided info about their pandemic response. They have a grab and go breakfast placed on brown bags. They do not have a pool but the receptionist stated that guest can use the pool on their sister property across the street.

Very clean room, good bed and helpful front desk at this motel. Breakfast now is just grab-and-go, but there are nice outdoor tables to eat it.Try a trip up to Cedar Breaks and you will be thrilled at the red rock views.

Staff is amazing here! love the beds, and the cozy rooms. love the fire pit to hang around as well! everything is beyond clean, the gym, inside and out the whole place! can't wait for Covid to no longer be an. issue so we can enjoy the great BBQ they normally do for their guests!

Stayed one night. Room was a spacious king with walk out access to the common walkway Room was clean and the bed was great. Front desk staff was pleasant Numerous eating options nearby. Easy access to I15 limited free breakfast due to Coronavirus restrictions.

We liked the vibe in Cedar City and the interesting mixture of ranchers, old timers, students (Southern Utah University is located in Cedar City) and canyoneering enthusiasts. The hotel is conveniently located close (but not too close) to Interstate 15. The front desk personnel - Danny and Steve - made our stay especially pleasant. Danny provided some great advice on hiking and local restaurants. He spent a lot of time advising us on things to do in the area. There is no pool in the hotel and it currently does not offer a hot breakfast due to Covid 19. However, these issues were not important to us, because we already had our agenda planned. There is a nice fire pit in the center courtyard of the hotel, along with a horseshoe pit and giant chessboard. We look forward to our next stay at Best Western Cedar City.

I stayed at other Best Westerns Hotels that were subpar, but this one was amazing, I was so surprised at how clean and comfortable our room was. Plus it's location was perfect next to all necessities.

I spent a free night, had booking for another Best Western but decided not to stay there but return for a second night. I was told that I could return to the same room, but was put in another where the one bed was uncomfortable. I would have given a better rating had the room been the same as the first night.

We have stayed at this property numerous times while travelling between Alberta and southern California on our annual winter escapes. It is clean and well maintained. Staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. For example on one occasion I left a jacket there. They would have gladly mailed it to me but I requested they just hold it for me. It was a full year later when we returned and sure enough my jacket was waiting. In our opinion breakfasts are above average and the (seasonal) evening BBQ around the huge outdoor firepit is a bonus. This hotel is also within easy walking distance of a variety of restaurants. For those travelling with RV's there are about 10 or so RV sites with full hook-ups. Also, RV 'ers can have the breakfast for a modest fee. Access on and off I-15 is easy.

Even with the Corona Virus restrictions we were well taken care of. The coffee and hot chocolate in the front office were great. The rooms were very clean. The people working the front desk were very helpful and very pleasant to deal with.

It was the second night of a two night quick trip home from Seattle. Best Western Plus is well managed and cared for. The desk manager was personable and accommodating. The room was large, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good and included in the prices of the room. We would stay there again. Highly recommended.

I made a quick trip and needed a place to stay for one night. This place was clean, comfortable. Staff was very friendly, both at check in and departure. Grab & Go Breakfast was good ( no hot choices because of Covid 19).

I have stayed at many Best Westerns and have come to expect better than this. Where to start: The heater either has you cooking or freezing. The bed (mine) has a squeaky mattress as you see on tv shows. There is nowhere to hang clothes, no closet or hanger bar.wi The toilet seat is made for women, not men. I ask for a quiet place around me and at 2100 hours two neighbors are on the walkway infront of my room arguing in a loud voice. Will I ever stay here again, no.

We had stayed at the BW Plus Cedar City in December, and were quite pleased with the experience -great staff, friendly and attentive, room clean and well appointed, the breakfast excellent, But 3 1/2 months later a different story. I realize that the coronavirus has changed the situation dramatically, but that should not change the attitude of the staff or the quality of the ammenites. At checkin the clerk all but ignored us, provided us with no information unless we pointly questioned her, her laptop was her priority, not the client checking in. The room was cllean, quiet and as for our last stay, quite comfortable. As there was no breakfast available due to to the coronavirus, the hotel provided a snack bag - unfortunatly, no care or attention as given to these alternative breakfasts - the apple in one of our bags was rotten, the other stale, the muffins were prepackaged -very dry and really inedable, they fell apart as you openned the package -and to round off the package, an inexpensive granola bar. when I complained at checkout I felt I was given "lip service' and hustled out the door. One last frustrating item -the cost was the same in Dec as in March -even though the hotel was empty and there was no real breakkfast. We departed very disappointed that a hotel staff and the attitude they displayed could change our opinion so negitively.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Best Western. Everything was extremely clean. The beds were very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was very good and had everything we needed. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We will stay here again.

We love this place. They always have great bratwurst for dinner, then they have Smores with very nice chocolates. We stay here everytime we travel through this area. Worth the stop. It's about 3 hours out of Salt Lake City and we enjoy this place. The outside fire pit is a great place to cook marsh mellows even in the winter time. The folks here are absolutely friendly, helpful, and want to make sure your stay is perfect.

I would stay here again. Staff was very friendly. Room was very nice and clean. Near places to eat and easy to find. Breakfast was free. Best Western plus is the best way to go if booking with a Best Western motel chain. They have been updated and are newer than the regular Best Western. I tend to stay away from the Best Western and go with the Best Western Plus. Although Best Western is in the process of being updated I have been told.

This place is really nice and in a decent part of town.Nice room and had everything we needed. The breakfast is great and there was a lot of variety. My son loves the yougart machine.Thanks for a great stay. would definitely stay here again.

I was so pleased with our stay at Best Western Plus Cedar City. The room was clean (Thanks Alisha), the breakfast was perfect, the gym was one of the best, I was impressed with the ice cream shop on site, wish we could have hit the grill.

Kudos to Best Western Plus Cedar City who went out of their way Thanksgiving day 2019 The rooms and hotel are great but what we will remember is that they prepared an evening buffet of Turkey, corn bread, green beans etc. for their guests when everything else in town was closed for the holiday. They also fired up the fire pit to roast marshmallows during a snowstorm. We are very grateful for their hospitality manager who brightened our holiday travel. Thanks

This is our second stay at a Best Western chain- the first time at a Plus and at the Cedar City location. We were already impressed with BW and can now say we are even MORE impressed. The company just does things right. We were greeted so warmly and given all pertinent information without having to ask. The girl at check in had even reviewed reservations at the start of her shift and was all ready to accommodate our family of 6 right from the start. We were offered a portable crib for our baby and hot soup to warm up from the chilly night air outside. In addition, she went even more above and beyond and gave us a room close to parking so we wouldn't have to lug our 4 kids and all our things very far. I realize that would not always be possible, especially on a busier night, but I was just so pleased that she even asked for our preference. The lobby, common areas and room were immaculately clean and welcoming. The outdoor courtyard had a great seating area with a firepit. BW offered s'mores as an evening treat and activity for guests. There was also a giant chess set-- we don't know how to play but my kids had a fun time playing with the pieces nonetheless. This location doesn't have a pool but allows guests to use the pool of the regular Best Western literally just across the street. The hot, included breakfast is impressive. We were a little bit needy guests. We asked for additional shampoo and towels and the workers were so polite and helpful for us! There are just not enough kind words I can say to explain our stay and the way BW treated us! Other companies would do well to take note of the customer service BW provides. The Best Western Plus is the best place to stay when in Cedar City. Inexpensive but not "cheap". The staff is very courteous and polite. Very clean rooms with comfortable beds and a good hearty breakfast ready for you in the morning. The breakfast area is very warm and cozy too. I'm not sure if they do this all the time but they even had hot brats the evening we arrived.

We always try to make our overnight stop in Cedar City. This is our favorite hotel. Friendly staff, good breakfast and good beds. They have amenities we haven't ever used but they are there for those who enjoy them.

Just what I needed after a late night drive in the snow from Vegas. Really friendly staff. Immaculate grounds and clean room and comfy bed. Shower pressure was perfect too. I had to leave early the next morning, but wanted to stay longer.

stayed here with my family 3 nights while skiing in brian head. chose cedar city as there are so many more amenities compared to brian head proper, and it's a pretty easy drive. also almost a thousand dollars less over 3 nights. very pleasant checkin with friendly staff. a standard breakfast was included and they even have soup,chips, water, and brats/hot dogs in the evenings. they even have a bonfire going on a bit later and you can bring your kids and make s'mores. really nice to try to set themselves apart. also have free brushes/ice scrapers for your car to borrow. super close to main street, very walkable if it weren't so damn cold. =) they had an electric charger for my car which topped me off each night. my only nitpicks were that the beds/pillows weren't particularly comfortable and i couldn't get a great night's rest. my wife woke up with neck pain as the pillows weren't particularly soft. also the toilet is tiny, like one of lower standard round toilets instead of the elongated ones. still would probably stay here again if i come back this way.

I have now stayed here several times and it is a great place to stay for a great price. They have a light dinner they serve every night to the guest plus a great breakfast. Steve at the front desk is so kind and helpful.

The attendant was friendly and showed us rooms that were to our liking. The food served in the evening and morning was terrific. The room was laid out very well with lots of storage. The tv was HD and large enough to easily see.

What a delightful stay in Cedar City, Ut at the Best Western Plus. The king size bed was so comfortable that I finally slept all night. All the staff were so pleasant.They made check in and out so easy. The breakfast buffet whas everything one could want for a tummy filling meal. The restaurant across the street was an easy access for dinner. It also had the best buffet I have ever experienced with an awesome salad bar,soup, taco bar and dessert bar.

All-round beautiful facility and grounds. Staff pleasant and efficient. The BBQ night (with S'Mores!) was especially thoughtful. Standard motel breakfast room fare, so nothing special there. Overall, an excellent value for the money!

Loved this place. It was way from the interstate a little, but well worth it. Our room was very nice and very clean. Very quiet. They have a help yourself dinner for all guests-inside in cooler weather, outside in warmer weather. Very Nice! They had real plates, cups and tablewear which was also available for breakfast. Lovely lobby and close to shopping and restaurants. Can't wait to go back.

For as long as I can remember, Best Western Hotels have been my last resort of choice. But the Cedar City BWP is definitely the exception to that rule. The rooms are comfortable, roomy, clean, and the staff are supernaturally friendly and helpful. Their complimentary breakfast, and patio fire pit with offerings like soup, chili or barbecued bratwurst makes one feel at home. I would recommend this Hotel to friends and family, and so yes to anyone looking for a comfortable, pleasant hotel, that exceeds your expectations.Did I mention how reasonable their rates are? That is icing on the cake!

Excellent hotel. Bfs and Dinner are a plus. Had to change a reservation from intended day to the day before. Hotel staff on phone made it happen no problem. Room was clean and comfortable. We would gladly sty here again.

The check in was efficient and friendly. The room was a good size, clean, the hot water came fast but the beds were a bit soft. The location in Cedar City was also good but the signage of the property was a bit confusing as there is also a Best Western across the street. The property is well kept on the outside but the hallway carpets are dirty and worn. We were in room 310 and could hear the plumbing in the nearby rooms “running” ALL NIGHT. My husband talked to the front desk clerk in the morning and she acknowledged that this is a problem that they are “working on” and can't seem to fix. The breakfast is the average/typical chain hotel breakfast.

We had been on the road for ten hours and had been snacking on junk food - doritos, cookies, etc. - while we were driving. When we got into Cedar City, we weren't really in the mood to go out to a restaurant and wanted something light to eat. When we checked into the hotel, we were told there were complimentary soup, hot dogs and brats available that night. It was the perfect thing! There was also a fire pit outside where we could go and make s-mores. There is a well equipped fitness room with big windows that overlook the fire pit and a large chessboard painted on the concrete. There were also large planter boxes where we were told they plant vegetables and herbs that people can pick as they wish. We were there in the beginning of winter so there was nothing planted, but what a neat idea. This is a great place to stay.

Medium-sized motel that is within walking distance of many attractions and restaurants in the center of Cedar Cidy. Our room was quite adequate. The buffet breakfast was also OK. Parking is adequate at the hotel.

We found the Best Western Plus very comfortable and convenient. Very friendly staff, large rooms. Breakfast was excellent, with healthy choices and plates and cutlery instead of plastic/styrofoam: big compliment for this!! Great garden with fireplace and complimentary snacks.

If you want clean, quiet, modern, with a friendly and efficient staff, then consider staying here. We normally stay at a different chain of hotels, but this Best Western is making us consider changing our go to hotel.

Nice upgraded room with a number of great amenities on the property....would definitely stay there again next time riding through. The front desk staff was helpful with restaurant recommendations. Property was a close option for visiting the Cedar Breaks National Monument.

The hotel has nice employees, the room was super clean and nothing broken. The grounds are very nicely done. They offered smores by the firepit at night. Breakfast was very crowded, with no place to sit. I would recommend this hotel.

Stayed the night in a room with king bed. The room was very large and the bed comfortable. The grounds were manicured and clean. Very welcoming staff with a delightful balanced breakfast buffet. Great location.

Sometimes the label of BW Plus is disappointing. However this is not the case with the BW Plus property in Cedar City. The service, amenities, decor and comfort offered by this property is stellar and worth the price. We would recommend staying here and will stay again.

Can't think of enough superlatives to describe this amazing hotel. The grounds are what really separates this hotel from some others. Evening meal was fun to eat outdoors in such a setting and then later on you could cook s'mores on the huge standing fire pit. Historical district of Cedar Cedar was right across the street. Lots of fun shops and restaurants including an old-fashioned soda bar with jukebox. Can't wait to return.

We decided to plan a trip to Vegas, Sedona and last in Cedar City to be close to Zion & Bryce. We chose BW Plus. The room large, the bed was comfortable with great pillows. We even read that there was a 'cookout' every night out back by the fire pit. After our day in Zion, we decided to stop by. It was true! On Friday night we enjoyed complimentary brats, hot dogs & chips! there even provided the fixings to make smore's! Great idea for a unique experience!

After a day of travelling and hiking Zion, we arrived at this hotel a little after 8 pm. The 5 of us were tired and hungry. Not sure were to eat, never been to Cedar City before, my sister inlaw spotted the fire pit in the back of the hotel. She investigated and we were delighted to enjoy sausage on a bun, chips and smore's at the lovely fire pit. All included with our stay. The young man serving us was friendly and stayed until we were full. This is a nightly treat. We loved it. The menu changes daily. Our rooms were very clean and pleasant. The whole hotel was clean and pleasant. The breakfast also included is tasty. I will be happy to stay here again when I am in the area.The back of the hotel is very nice. Gardens, seating, a nice relaxing area. Loved it.

Great location for us. Clean. Friendly staff. Fun gigantic chess set. BBQ at the fire pit Fri and Sat nights. Bikes you could rent if you wanted. No indoor pool which my son cared about but I would stay here again.

The room was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable and has many pillows!! Our TV would not work and the young man from the front desk came to our room and tried to fix it. He couldn't fix it so he offered to move us to another room. Also our tub would not drain so we ended up standing in a foot of water while showering.

I would stay here again. The room was ok having all that was need to make the stay comfortable and pleasant for a night's stay. Clean comfortable and fresh smelling. Mattress was very comfortable and this was a good thing as I didn't wake up with a sore back the following morning. morning. What made this hotel different from the other BW's was a very large patio laid out with paver stones (not gravel, dirt or sand) with an adjoining garden, firepit, lots of seating areas designed for socializing with people. The area was well lit to suit the campfire ambiance. There was a guy there the night I and my wife were there firing up bratwurst, chicken, corn on the cob and smores all for tip offering. This was a great stopover and just the patio alone made it a very nice touch.

Never had an issue at a Best western, but I was saddened that the house keeper wasn't honest when I left my diamond earrings behind on the night stand. They informed me that they wasn't there and they would call if they magically showed up. It was my fault I didn't double check the room, but I thought that the house keeper would have turned them in, but that didn't happen in my case. The bed was hard and woke up with a terrible backach.

We were in town with our travel baseball team. Hotel was right next to fields and walking distance to restaurants. Perfect location! The fire pit was such a great addition. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This was my first Best Western in a long time. The property was well kept and had a lot of flowers to help the appearance. There is an outdoor area that gives the property a relaxing feel, containing a firepit and garden area. They offered evening snacks which included brats, chili, and smores. The staff member taking care of the evening snacks was enjoyable to talk to and seemed interested in what you had to stay. They also had RV/Trailer slots on the property with full hook-ups. If I would have had my trailer, I would have used this option.

Everything is good except no pool. I won't be staying there anymore until you bring back the pool. All else good. Facility with the garden a real nice extra. Breakfastr was very good. Front desk started the the pool was dug up and will not return.

Have always enjoyed staying here when in Cedar City for the Shakespeare Festival: very clean, quiet, always helpful staff, good breakfasts. A few years ago they remodeled/upgraded the property and we love the changes! A parking area out back became a garden/patio area with flowers, a fire pit, BBQs, tables, and a vegetable garden that anyone can pick in. With this, they added a (free) evening BBQ of brats, burgers, or chicken wings with trimmings and s'mores over the fire pit. It is so much fun! Very relaxing and we've met some interesting people there. Word was they're adding in this area a play area for the kids, an outdoor movie theater area , and a splash park (even us old folks can go for that in the heat!). That will make this outdoor area even better.

The staff is very friendly, and we enjoyed the manager's reception by the fire pit. We did not realize the swimming pool was being rebuilt and would have used it if it were there. Other than that it was a nice experience. Nice halfway point between Las Vegas and Bryce Canyon.

This BW is a unique property with an on-site fruit and vegetable garden, guest appreciation nightly dinners (ours was burgers/brats, chips and s'mores plus a few home grown tomatoes! There are also bikes to use but I'm not sure if there are any off road biking paths. Our bed was super comfy and the room was very clean — there is even a night light in the bathroom! Everyone acted genuinely appreciative that we chose their hotel. There were many dining options within walking distance and a bakery/ice cream shop behind the hotel. Everything you could need. We will tell all of our traveling friends about this hotel!

When we come for Utah Shakes, we find this property to be the cherry on top of the week! Extraordinary service and delightful features (BBQ, s'mores, and bikes)! We love this place and hope that it becomes a model for BW+

Would have loved to stay at this hotel longer. Staff is the most friendly and service oriented. Have a vegetable patch on site for the guests to pick each night and grill on beautiful outdoor patio along with chicken and hot dogs for a social gathering among the guests. Very nice restaurant next door with great service and food. Highly recommend and will come again next time we are in this area.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Starting at 6pm Chili and Brauts were served on the patio area and both were tasty and we enjoyed sitting outside with other guests. There were a few downsides, the breakfast was below average. The eggs were cold, the gravy for biscuits and gravy was thin and practically tasteless. No flavored creamers for the coffee, no newspaper available. These may seem small but it is the small things that count. We would stay here again but eat breakfast else where.

This was our second stay at the hotel on our way to Glacier National Park. From reservation to check in, excellent room-very clean, comfortable beds, linens , breakfast......all great! The staff very friendly. They have great garden patio in back with interesting vegetable garden. There are many restaurants to have dinner, we love the restaurant adjacent to the hotel. For people needing a place for the night, this Best Western Plus in Cedar city is the place to go. Just make sure To make your reservation.

Room was in separate building from check in area- very quiet, elevator available for access to 2nd story. Lighting in room was very good--I always like to read, and don't like dim rooms. View from room looked across to large patio area behind main building. The night we were there, a light dinner was served--hot dogs, buffalo wings, chips, sodas or water. There were also several garden boxes around with different vegetables growing plus a strawberry patch. Each box had a sign with it that gave a brief and interesting history of the veggie. There were some ripe strawberries, and we were allowed to pick and eat what we wanted. They have a sink nearby to wash them off. Breakfast is included---make your own waffles, assorted breads, rolls, cereals, juices, yogurt fresh fruit. bacon, potatoes, and scrambled eggs. The eggs were excellent, even better than those served in restaurants. There is also a charming antiques store next to the main building which was fun to explore.

After driving 9-10 hours we were happy to get to the hotel. We had reservations, and the desk attendant had a great room ready for us, plus informed us that there was a barbecue outside, free to all guests. After settling in our room, we enjoyed the free barbecue.., which was delicious. We were too tired to go out for dinner, so this was perfect. Would definitely stay here again

I have stayed in 4 different motels in Cedar City in the past year and Best Western Plus is the best I have found. Good service, quiet rooms, caring staff. Parking for a handicapped person was excellent.

I'm in hotels all the time and this place was the best! The room was comfortable and well-appointed. The staff were pleasant. The location was good. What I thought was awesome was the free bbq in the evenings. There's a nice area in the back with lots of seating, a bbq area, a huge fire pit and a garden. The night I was there a lady was serving a variety of brats, chili, chips and drinks. I got a great free dinner. After the wonderful dinner I walked about 50 feet to the Palette Bakery for delicious homemade ice cream on a homemade waffle cone. It was fantastic. I have absolutely no negative things to say about my stay. I would stay here again and again!

This hotel is centrally located to I 15, the historic section of the city and many restaurants! They offer a continental breakfast every morning and either hot dogs, hamburgers and sometimes chicken for a light dinner around 6PM. The rooms are spacious and well kept. The exercise room offers a variety of machines. They have bicycles to use at no cost! The only concern we had about this facility was that the side doors are never locked at all.

Here's a great concept for chain motels: add a few RV hookups to promote your motel. If I wasn't already a BW member, I would have been impressed by the friendly staff and great amenities. There are 10 (mostly) level rv sites here in the rear of the motel, and although there is no access to showers, for those that don't need it, this is a very convenient spot. I don't understand the complaints about the cost; it's pretty reasonable, especially when you consider they throw in a free dinner (brats, burgers, chips and drink, and s'mores for dessert) for everyone in your party. That's worth at least $5-10 apiece; think of the value if you have a camper load. Anyway, I'd stay again without hesitating.

This is a great hotel. The exterior is lovely. The rooms are clean, spacious and quiet. The location is within walking distance of Shakespeare Festival and Neil Simon Theatre, as well as parks, restaurants and downtown shopping. Your stay includes breakfast every morning and BBQ hot dogs and hamgurgers every evening, and s'mores for dessert. And the room rates are very reasonable. We'd stay there again.

This was the best hotel we have ever stayed at in Cedar City. Wonderful service and amenities as well as a super room. Walking distance to everything as well as the theaters. They even have nightly hot dogs and or hamburgers as well as s'mores. Can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel and its employees.

In addition to the beautiful location, the Best Western had a wonderful staff who were very accommodating. They went able and beyond to ensure our group had a wonderful stay. We sincerely are grateful for their efforts and aim to visit again! Thank you!

Hotel looks nice from the outside. They need to upgrade the breakfast buffet, food was cold, rubbery eggs, cold hashbrown patty, food doesnt seem fresh. Toilet in our room was slow to flush. Found a beetle in my bed the first night. Beds were comfortable. Nice fridge/freezer in the room. Great wi-fi for my husband to do some work. My kids were crushed that there wasnt a pool...in past years that has been the highlight of the trip. Woukd have liked notice of that when making reservations!

We've been staying here every summer for the last 7 years and its our favorite! in walking proximity to everything. During our most recent stay a couple weeks ago we were totally bummed when we got there and discovered they had taken out the pool! :( The staff I spoke with said the owners hadn't decided if they were going to put in another one. This is our favorite hotel because every night in the summer feels like a pool party with the BBQing, fire pit, marshmallow roasting and swimming but now they've taken out the pool! My kids love swimming so we were disappointed. I understanding having an outdoor pool in freezing winter weather is challenging but maybe you could put something in with folding glass door/windows to leave it open in the summer and closed off in the winter, best of both worlds!

Customer service was great. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The bathroom toilet could be updated. Toilet was low and off balance. Complimentary breakfast was average. This place was good for our overnight stay before we hit the road the next day.

The stay was excellent. I recently scheduled another trip and made reservations only to find out from the employee, I talked to, informed me that there were 5 reservations ahead of me for a handicap room. I did get mad and it seemed to do no good. He was rude and ungrateful. I called the national number and he assured me the reservations I had were good. We'll see after my next trip in August.

This Best Western Plus is “unique” in the most positive sense of the word. It is our favorite place to stay in Utah. Clean, recently remodeled, personable and professional service and staff. The beds are the best. The atmosphere is welcoming with beautiful landscaping and vegetable/herb gardens and outside eating and entertainment area. Outdoors, they do complimentary s'mores in the evening along with light barbecue most evenings, weather permitting. It is also historical as the original train depot is on the property converted into a nice restaurant and adjacent bakery. They have set themselves apart from the competition.

This was the second time we stayed at this hotel in Cedar city, Utah. Both times have been excellent. The new addition of the evening gathering by the fire with Food, refreshments, and Smore's was especially nice after a long day of driving. I can definitely say that we will be staying there again. The rooms were comfortable. I much preferred this to other hotels in the area.

One of the best Best Western Plus location available. Staff is more than friendly and helpful. Clean and pleasant facility along with a good location for options regarding groceries and restaurants. Worth a repeat.

Room was clean, quiet. convenient to downtown. definetly worthy of the Best Western Plus title. I have stayed there many times in the past 8 or 10 years and it was always a great stay but after their latest remodel (couple of years ago) it is just that much better.

Excellent facilities and service even turning on the outside fire for us when so cold. Also making available the entry facility for both breakfast and evening snacks was most appreciative. All in the 21 participants enjoyed the hospitality.

Our group of motorcyclists stayed here for a week while we visited all the National Parks in the area and our stay was great, breakfasts were convenient and satisfying; the staff was friendly and helpful especially with tips about riding and hiking the parks and some of the lesser known areas. Aaron, the pr guy, one man guide and information center and cook extraordinaire had burgers and brats, sometimes chili, prepared for everyone who would gather in the back garden, every night. And smores, hmm.He even keep the grillin' on for us when we got back late after a long ride. Free of charge. We met some interesting people from all over the world at the garden gatherings Aaron is the main reason we returned to this Best Western and stayed for a week. We did miss the pool and hot tub, as it was under construction.

The Best Western plus runs the RV park for the city. We stayed there as a central location for Bryce and Zion National Parks. The hotel offers many amenities to the rvers. The nightly light barbeque is free, the fresh vegetables in the garden are available to all and the hot breakfast is only $4 for campers. Staff were pleasant and friendly. We'll definitely will stay here again.

You will not find better accommodations or customer service in Cedar City than at this Best Western Plus! They treat you like family here. The location is central, the grounds and property are in immaculate condition, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. If you need lodging in Cedar City as a jumping off point to visit Cedar Breaks, Brian Head, Zion, Bryce Canyon or other locations in Southern Utah, then this is the place to stay! It is within walking distance of the campus of SUU and also the annual Shakespeare Festival!

We had a great stay here for 2 nights as part of a 2-week holiday around the Southwest U.S. The location was ideal for exploring Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks and Dixie National Forest, and the town is lovely, too. We were warmly welcomed by Kyle, who was friendly and professional in checking us in. As Platinum members, we were upgraded to a suite with a separate sitting room, which was a nice touch. Our room was extremely comfortable, well appointed and most importantly clean. The separate sitting room was large but did not have a television, which made is less conducive to use, however. Breakfast each morning was good, with the usual selection of waffles, bakery items, fruit and cooked options. Each evening there was a light supper provided as well, which is also a lovely touch and sets this hotel apart from others. There was always ample parking at the front, with additional parking at the side/rear. We would definitely stay here again if in the area and could not recommend this hotel more highly.

As an almost exclusively Hilton hotel patron, I had never stayed in a Best Western Plus. We happened upon this one while driving thru Utah and needing to stop for the night. First happy WOW...instead of the standard bar and happy hour, they offer a patio ice cream bar for the family. Awesome change of pace and great to see a hotel recognize families! The entire place from grounds to rooms was immaculately clean. While you can tell the tub/shower/sinks are older, they are SPOTLESS. Very reasonably priced, nicely decorated and spacious rooms. The beds were the most comfortable we slept in during our entire 12 day trip. Plenty of restaurants to choose from nearby, very convenient and easy to find location. I will definitely be considering the Best Western Plus hotels in our upcoming travels as we were far happier with this hotel than we were with ANY of the Hilton brand hotels we stayed in during the remainder of our trip.

Great location just north of Zion and right off 15. Nice clean and large room with fridge and micro and breakfast with fresh eggs, waffles, muffins, bagels, cereals, pastry. Parking was easy, everyone very nice to us.

Nice, clean and updated hotel. We stayed just one night, checking in after a long drive from LA. Checking is was efficient and very friendly. Rooms well appointed with usual amenities including a refrigerator. Bed was a little soft, but not bad. Welcome brats and chili were available on a pleasant patio area - tho we walked to dinner elsewhere. The room was quiet, the shower was hot and the breakfast was plentiful. One of the best fitness centers we have ever seen (and used!), especially in a mid-range hotel. Only odd thing was the pool and hot tub were "closed for the season" and this is June.

Centrally located with many good restaurants nearby. Incredibly friendly folks. They do a nightly bbq outside, including s'mores. I've stayed at nicer spots but I cannot recall a more friendly one. Would stay again.

we stayed 2 nights at this place it was very good- they had a excellent breakfast in the morning and at super time they had a barbecue in the back cooking hamburgers one night and Hot dogs the other night - plus the potatoe chips and bottled water - it was very good

This hotel stay was very enjoyable. The staff was very kind, friendly, and polite. They really go out of their way to make guests feel at home. In the evening of our stay, they offered free burgers, brats, chips and water. Later on, they offered free s'mores at the fire pit for guests. The room itself was clean, neat, and well-updated. Also, hotel is conveniently located with two restaurants and a bakery within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling to Zion National Park or Bryce Canyon.

The hotel offers spacious clean and comfortable rooms, good beds, microwave, fridge which help to get something to eat on late arrivals, good parking near the room and and well positioned from the I15

Everything was clean and neat and tidy. Breakfast had lots of choice and nice dining room. Extra bonus was fire-pit in the evening. Staff on desk were efficient, but not chatty. More like a business hotel than a family one but that suited us.

We were on our way to Salt Lake City to visit our son. We had no prior reservations anywhere. Best Western Plus looked clean and inviting with restaurants within walking distance. We were greeted with a very friendly receptionist and had no problem booking a room. Room was great. Fire pit and BBQ area were beautiful. We were offered free brats and soup for dinner. Would highly recommend this BW.

Can't say enough good about this Motel. Very friend;y, knowledgeable staff, very clean bright premises, large comfortable well appointed room, super evening reception by the fire pit, very good breakfast, on and on. Been there twice now, and will be back next time in southern Utah. about as convenient to the National Parks as you can get. They also have an RV park. The folks there that we met seemed to really like it.

What an awesome place, great area, nice pool, small rv park and antique store and bakery on premises. it has fresh veggie gardens in the summer and they do a barbeque every night for their guests. Our favorite Bestwestern of all time.

We had a very hospitable experience, clean rooms, and even hot chicken noodle soup in reception area, with brats and Smores available for roasting over the outside fire-pit. (gas fired). The breakfast was also a littel more than the usual continental style, but not excessively so.

We stayed here for 7 nights on our trip to visit many beautiful sights in southwestern Utah including Zion, Bryce, and Snow Canyon. All of the staff members made us feel so welcome! It was a great place to relax for breakfast in the morning and during the evening in the courtyard area. Making s'mores was fun too!

Overnight stay for our family on the way to Vegas. We were greeted by the front desk manager, Kyle. He went out of his way to help us and then told us about dinner and s'mores taking place that evening. In the courtyard, we had so much fun roasting marshmallows for s'mores. Aaron, the hotel staff member, took time to talk to our young grandchildren about the fire and the area. Our stay was so much more than we were expecting. Thanks!!

Always do like this stopover because the total group that we have to deal with are totally friendly - they appreciate you for being there. The evening out door desert at the BBQ area really tops things off.

The hotel was wonderful, easy to find and no trouble with parking. Staff were super nice. They are right on main street and there's plenty close by to walk to. There's even a fire pit and smores every night.

We spent a Saturday night here and it was a wonderful experience. Easy booking, friendly early check in, clean and comfortable room. They served hot soup and brats for a complimentary evening snack, so we didn't have to go elsewhere for dinner. Complimentary breakfast buffet was excellent also. We will definitely stay here again.

It is a very clean hotel. They have Continental breakfast, lunch & dinner. Very friendly staff. They even let you use the fire pit to do s'mores, hamburgers with staff assistanting you with the barbecue grill.

Stayed here for an event in the City. Great location, price was fair. Close to everything, food, gas, grocery and also the aquatics center. Clean big rooms. Nice little pool and spa area. Plenty of parking as well. Nice little grass area next to pool.

Decent value for the price. Good breakfast and a light dinner, soup and sandwiches and s'mores. Booked thru their call center Who weren't willing to match prices, better prices on line closer to arrival. But satisfied.

This property had a great concept with the garden, light dinner and smores by the fire pit. Lots of great parking. Even has an RV park with great hook-ups adjacent to the hotel outdoor area and pool. Will definitely stay again.

Great stay! So clean and nice. My only other feedback is that the pool was across the street. A little inconvenience, but overall excellent. Check- in was fast and easy and the staff was super nice. Great breakfast too

This was our most enjoyable stay on a three week trip. The staff went out of their way to offer services we have not experienced at other hotels, such as a complementary light dinner, a fire in an outdoor fire pit, and the loaning of a window scraper/snow brush to deal with a late snow storm. We planned to stay one night, but stayed two. We will be back on our next trip to the area next year.

This is an in incredible establishment. Along with the complimentary breakfast, there was a delicious “light “dinner and best of all, s'mores from 7-9 pm. Jessica at the front desk was wonderful. Running the dinner and s'mores were Aaron and Elaine. These folks were friendly and informative about the area. If you are in Cedar City, this is a must stay.

We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly service, breakfast offerings, and comfy room. Great for families and business travelers alike. The nighttime firepit & smores were unexpected as well as the local history by the host. Definitely would stay here every time. Close to Zion & Bryce National parks too.

We currently travel from March to October and stay in Best Westerns if possible. We have stayed in the Cedar City Plus four times during the last three years and each time has been excellent. From the initial greeting to the parting goodbye we have felt special.

Jannet Castro gave me great service and very good breakfast food!! The breakfast burritos there are out standing and I recommend there breakfast to anyone that loves breakfast burritos. I also recommend to put there home made salsa on the burritos.

Very friendly staff here! The grounds are gorgeous and very well-kept. Free breakfast! This is a nice location and walking distance to a lot of shops. It is also walking distance to both Main Street Park and a Veteran's Memorial Park - both are very clean and nice to visit.

lovely place to stay and being taken care of! We loved partaking of a simple supper meal included in the price. We also enjoyed the varitey of breakfast choices. Would certainly stay again when coming through this way.

Was on the way to the Bryce Canyon area and had to turn around due to a snowstorm, ended up here for the night. The room was clean and quiet and they had availability for me with no reservation (a good thing because I didn't feel like driving back to Las Vegas). Got some free dinner in the lobby area and free breakfast the next morning when I left. Had a fire pit burning which was pretty tempting with snow all over the ground. Overall if I find myself stranded in Cedar City again I wouldn't hesitate to stay here.

We had a great experience in Cedar City with our stay at Best Western Plus. Our room was very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was very comfortable and we were able to sit by the fireplace warming up on a chilly morning. The breakfast options were great. I was able to make an amazing yogurt parfait to go along with the rest of my breakfast.

The hotel offers light dinner and toasting marshmallow around an outside fire pit. We loved it. The room was good not excellent. It needs some updating as far as furniture. . W e had a suite with a couch in one room but no TV, only a TV in the bedroom area.. The lobby is nice.

My 81 year old father and I stayed at the Best Western Plus in Cedar City on a trip to visit family. We were both very pleased with our choice. The rooms were beautifully clean, and Yolanda even left an adorable little towel critter on the bed in each of our rooms to make us feel welcome. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the grounds and hotel itself were inviting, and the complementary breakfast was delicious. I did not expect the complementary light dinner--that was such a nice bonus! The soup was amazing and the brats added an element of fun. We felt both welcome and valued. We will definitely stay here again!

My daughter and I were touring Southern Utah University and we stayed at the Best Western Plus in Cedar City. It was amazing!! Super clean, super nice staff, wonderful happy hour food/beverages, great breakfasts, comfortable beds, great wifi. What else could you ask for? This was a Marriott quality hotel without the Marriott price. I definitely would stay here again in beautiful Cedar City!

We were here of a college tour. The hotel was perfect and the staff was welcoming. Lobby was inviting and the rooms were large and comfortable. The free breakfast and and light dinners were extra bonus We will definitely stay here again.

I spend a lot of time in hotels for work and the best western plus in cedar city is top notch, only hotel I've stayed at that offers free evening entrees. Clean up kept and the service provided by the staff is great.

Nice facilities. Courteous and helpful staff. Light evening supper included which eliminated the need to go out to eat after a long day on the road. Decent breakfast. Beds a little firm for my wife's taste but suited me fine. They have a fire pit available also and will fire it up and provide you with materials needed for making s'mores. Would stop there again.

I stayed here for one night over a weekend in the off season. I did not have a reservation. I got a great price. The room was very large. The beds were comfortable. The heater/air conditioner had a wall thermostat and was quiet. The shower was very nice. The grounds were beautiful. They have a nice rock garden with sculptures. They also have a fire pit and you can roast marshmallows. The free breakfast was much above average. I enjoyed the mini breakfast burritos, hashbrowns, and there were lots of toppings for oatmeal or yogurt. The card in my room said that Yolanda had cleaned it, and it was VERY clean. Kira checked me in and out, and she was awesome. This seemed to be a popular hotel and it was kind of noisy till about 10:30 PM. Then it completely quieted down, with no noise till the morning.

This hotel has everything you need, and more. Amazing staff members, a firepit with all the s'more fixings, and the rooms are like brand new - well kept will all the fun extras. Will ALWAYS stay here when in need of a hotel in Cedar City.

The only place we will stay in Cedar City. The accomodations, amenities and the staff are top notch! from the nightly s'mores to the morning complimentary breakfast, what is not to love! Caring staff and cleanly accomodations!

The hotel is easy to get to; staff are nice and it's comfortable and reasonably priced. I usually stay here when I am passing through the area. If you are there during the summer they have nice family activities and cookouts outside.

This is my favorite Best Western Plus. I had a fabulous experience staying 5 nights. They offer great foods and service. I give them a 2 thumbs up! The room rates are so affordable. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Excellent service and facilities. Beds are very comfortable and rooms recently redone. Softest water ever. Complementary breakfast was tasty and with excellent variety to choose from. Can't beat the location. New equipment in the exercise room.

Our first visit to the US from Australia to see our daughter who is playing college basketball. Luckily for us we picked the right place to stay for two weeks. Staff make or break a hotel and this place is full of caring people who like what they do and aren't afraid to go out of their way for guests. We pulled in for the night on the way to Vegas. Staff was friendly, nice having a conversatuon with Aaron when we arrived and Kristina in the morning. Price was reasonable. They have a light dinner for free of hot dogs and soup. It was perfect light meal after a long day on the road. Breakfast was really good. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The amenities at this Best Western are the best - free soup and chips in the evening, fire pit with s'mores, spacious rooms and a great breakfast in a lovely setting. We recommend this hotel to all. The beds are great and the automatic night light in the bathroom is a big plus

The staff was pleasant, the room was clean, very similar to other Best Western Hotels, they had little candy on the beds (non of the other BW did that) I like the room styles, there was a firepit where they held a roasting marshmallows event, we didn't go but it looked fabulous! Breakfast was great! Everything about this hotel was great and I would recommend it to everyone I know.

Kristina in the Kitchen made an amazing,complimentary hot, breakfast. Best fresh pico de Gallo we have ever had. This place also serves a complimentary light dinner. Both nights were very good, fresh homemade soup or chili. In addition to all of the higher standards this place is held to, 2 complimentary meals really makes it worth a little extra money to stay here instead of a basic hotel. If you want to go out for dinner then there is a restaurant attached to the hotel or the are some nice steakhouses right up the canyon within 2-5 miles. Jake & Kira at the front desk are very kind & helpful. Very quick to respond when we requested something. Yolanda was our housekeeper. The room was incredibly spotless and the towels were folded so cute. The bed and pillows...so comfy! I usually miss my own bed but my husband and both slept very good here. They have a large, beautiful gas fire pit they light in the evening. There are also bbq grills out there. In the warmer weather I believe they do sone cooking outside. Looks like there are some nice raised garden beds out back by fire pit & grills. I visited in the winter so I chose not to go sit by the fire put but it looks very pretty out there. My next comments most likely won't be relevant to 99% of society. The only thing that wasn't absolutely perfect was the handicap accessible shower. Dont get me wrong; it's a very nice shower but my husband has had a stroke and brain surgery that left him paralyzed on the left side. There's only bars on one side of the shower. I sat him in there backwards to accommodate the bars on wrong side but that required me to put the shower chair right in the doorway of the shower. This made it very hard to get him in & out and water ran out on to floor making it slippery. A bit scary but we managed. The shower was great when I showered but I am not suffering any disabilities. All in all I still give this place 5 stars.

Nice hotel about 1 mile from the interstate. Part of the hotel is outside access, part of it inside access. Which is weird. The gym was in the outside access part. Breakfast was OK. Staff was friendly. We were out of tissues, so I asked the front desk for them and they never came. Fortunately, I was not sick.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly. Unfortunately, we did not avail ourselves to any of the services, including breakfast. Mostly we did not want to walk across a driveway and courtyard in the freezing cold from our room to the lobby. To be quite honest, I am not sure we will stay here again even though we travel through Cedar City several times a year.

Everything was excellent at our recent stay here and we have nothing negative at all to say about anything. We highly recommend this hotel! Their employee Aaron went beyond to be hospitible and make our stay comfortable by feeding us and hanging around by the fire-pit entertaining us and other guests following feeding us a delicious dinner.

we arrived at 16:00 after 4 hours of driving. showed the passport. but answered that no reservation was made and that maybe the room is at best western hotel at the other side of the street.i drove there and answered the same. i opened my bags and after some miniutes found the reservation (prepaid and preooked) at best western plus. i drove back and showed the guy at the front desk. after 30 min of phone calls he confirmed our room without any excuse and requested me to sign that the hotel is not responsible for room theft even in case the door room is broken (and the hotel's room are open to air like a motel). never coming back to such bad hotel brand.

We like Best Western hotels and we have had good luck with them, but we were particularly delighted with our stay at The Best Western Plus in Cedar City. This was a last-minute booking - 45 minutes prior to deciding on our destination for the night - traveling home to Los Angeles from the Denver area. The room rate for 2 queens was very reasonable and check-in was a breeze. The lobby smelled divine and when I commented on it, the very nice man at the front desk said, "Oh, that's our complimentary dinner - baked potato soup." "Seriously?!" I replied. We always make sure to pick a hotel with a complimentary breakfast, but never expected a complimentary dinner! They served a hearty soup complete with bacon and cheese as condiments and very good French bread. They were also offering other snacks and, outside at their fire pit, s'mores! Our room was very well appointed - extra large sized mini-refrigerator (sounds like an oxymoron, but you get the idea), a microwave, fresh, clean (new?) carpet, paint, bedding and towels. Each bed had four pillows (another thing we love at a hotel - costs so little and makes such a big difference). Rocio, the housekeeper who had made up the room, left a little towel animal - folded to look like a crab - with two candies on top. Honestly, this was over the top for what I expect from a Best Western. Breakfast was very nice - a good assortment of hot and cold dishes as well as cereals, bread/danishes and fresh fruit. Coffee was good, too. Everyone was very friendly. We would definitely stay here again. While we did not visit any nearby sites, a look at the map shows this hotel is well located for Bryce and Zion parks.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is a block from shops and the university. The staff was very welcoming. Our room was very large with all the amenities. We appreciated the s'mores around the firepit and the morning breakfast. They even offered a light soup supper! However, we chose to have pizza at Centro in town which was delicious! The hotel even has bikes to ride around town. Highly recommend!

The location is perfect for walking everywhere from downtown to SUU for the plays. Also, a short distance away is the road to take you up the canyon for the scenery and hiking. The staff is very pleasant and the property is updated and clean. Breakfast was well done and the food was hot and plenty for all.

Check in was a breeze, our room was excellent, recently redone and very comfortable with great beds. Was the nicest room (but not view) of the 9 national parks we just completed visiting. The highlight- I am all about food- was the pleasant and welcoming attitude of Sue Ann and Mary at breakfast in the morning. They could not have been nicer, the standard hotel breakfast items were done with love.

This property makes downtown cedar city walkable, which is Shakespeare theaters, coffee shops, stores, shopping, meals easily accessible. I'd stay here again. You also get a higher price, and our room the tub was so old it was slippery....just be careful with the tub, it really was slippery so don't hurt yourself.

I was surprised that my room had a separate sitting area with a couch and desk in addition to the bedroom and a balcony. In the evening, there was a BBQ with bratwurt, chili, chips and soft drinks by the pool and breakfast in the morning at no extra charge. Excellent location which is walking distance to the SUU campus and all the theaters.

Arrived to a free BBQ dinner until 9 or 10pm. The room was great and the breakfast the standard (but A-OK) fare. The WiFi was very fast. This downtown Best Western Plus is close to the freeway and across the street from another BW.

Awesome place! Truly one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. I requested a second floor room with a view and got it. We overlooked the courtyard area with the pool and outdoor fire pit as well as a life size chess board.They have an evening reception every night there that is basically dinner. After the reception they bring out an assortment of candies and the fixings to make smores on the fire. Breakfast is well thought out and presented. All the details are covered. All of the staff was very nice. Even the rooms had everything you need. They also have very nice bikes for the guests to take and ride around town with a mountain bike trail up the road. They are attached to a restaurant and bakery too. They even have a small area in the back for RV's to camp. One more thing, they have a vegetable and herb garden that guests can pick things from! Will definitely go out of my way to go back.

We loved this place. The room was big and comfy. Super clean. The grounds are very nice with a huge fire pit. They even do simple bbq in the evenings. The breakfast was delicious. They Also have a fresh vegetable garden, which the guests are welcome to pick and eat from. We walked next door and had a beer and appetizer at the Depot Grill. Yummy! Great stay! We will be back.

This BW has spoiled us for almost all hotels/motels. It is clean, has large rooms, has a great shower and a large vanity, and is in a great location for day trips to Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park. The whole staff is friendly and helpful and the breakfast setup is really good. There is plenty of room to get your breakfast items without waiting behind others,the eating room is large and airy, the staff is friendly and responsive to requests, and they even use real plates and utensils. But the big plus here is outside where they have a large shaded area behind the hotel for sitting. Each day when we got back from our hiking and exploring Bryce and Zion we would return to our room, get a drink and go sit in the comfortable wicker furniture while we were serenaded by a large wind chime. When it came time for dinner we didn't have to clean up and find a place to go, we simply walked over to the barbecue and got whatever the cook was fixing. This was capped off by the fun of toasting marshmallows at a large fire pit and then making s'mores with either a candy with chocolate coating or with squares of Ghiradelli chocolate. And the gentlemen doing the barbecue were friendly, helpful and very encouraging to try all the different chocolates. It was a great end to each evening. I would highly recommend this place and only wish I could rate it higher than a 5.

From pool to garden, breakfast to dinner, and the s'mores beyond. Best Western Plus Cedar City was like a home away from home for our trip to enjoy Shakespeare and natural wonders alike. Our kiddos loved it almost as much as the adults. Hassle free and completely at home.

Who'd think the best hotel of a long trip would be in a small town in Utah! From the friendly, helpful front staff to the best air conditioning ever - no rickety, noisy box in the wall here - our stay was great. Rooms were quiet and wonderfully clean, the beds were firm and the pillows were actually supportive. My husband uses a wheelchair and the accessible layout was a bit odd but spacious and he loved the shower. The only minor quibble was be that there was no desk or table to use for work tasks. Few restaurant choices on a Sunday in this town but we used the front desk suggestion and were happy with the food. There were hot breakfast and evening reception offered but we didn't use either.

We come down for the Shakespeare Festival almost every year and we have not stayed at this hotel before. The service was outstanding, hotel staff extremely courteous and went out of their way with hospitality, even serving us free dinner, grill brats and corn on the cob. Definitely will be staying here again!

Great room. Very quiet. Terrific amenities and they even serve BBQ every evening around the fire pit (in case of rain - it's moved inside). Location is close to Shakespeare Festival and all the shops on Main Street. Service couldn't be better.

We were in a double-queen room on the top floor of the western most building. Very nice room, newly renovated. Hotel staff was very friendly and there are even bicycles that can be rented. We were able to walk to the Shakespeare festival area at SUU and to the historic downtown. We only stayed one night on our way to Bryce Canyon, but I would definitely stay again. Good quality!

We are already planning our next trip to this hotel & area. The hotel room itself was very good and above average for a Best Western(BW). It is not a 5 star hotel but a BW never is unless you consider the price point. Walking distance to the Shakespeare and Neil Simon theaters. Short drive to Cedar Breaks and Bryce Canyon is just a litle farther. What this BW has is an area that the family run owners call "your own backyard". Complete with a garden that they encourage you to pick whatever's ripe for your own use. Beautiful area with rows of corn, tomatoes, squash, peas, flowers, etc. Free breakfeast and in the evening free some-smores, bratwurst, and another entree. Our RV-ing friends were able to stay in a very nice 10 spot RV park at one end of the complex. They rated the spot 5/5 as well.

Great place, super clean and inviting. Staff is very professional and responsive. The breakfest was fantastic . . . and very clean. Very good location, close to the center of town. We ill stay there again when the chance arises.

Great location, great staff, beautiful garden you can help yourself to the fruits and veggies growing there. Staff barbecues on the patio every night. They'll even grill up veggies picked out of their garden. My kids love staying here year after year.

This hotel was in a good location and the grounds were very nice. The staff were also very nice and seem to really enjoy their jobs. They have a nightly BBQ and also breakfast in the morning, both included, which really saves you money when traveling with kids.

The room was pleasant, clean, and had a nice view of the garden and pool area. We used the pool and hot tub daily...although it was busy on the weekends. The front desk and breakfast team were superb--friendly and good problem solvers. Loved the evening BBQs and were amazed by the beautiful flower displays.

We had an unexpected trip down to Cedar city and we were lucky to have such great people working at best Western plus. Kyle and Jessica made some adjustments and made our accommodations wonderful. We needed more rooms then we had made reservations for and they came up with what we needed. Christina and Elsy was so amazing with everything that they did. Rocio was spot on when it came to cleaning our room. It was great to come back to a clean room after such a stressful day. Josh Bolton was wonderful in making sure we had rooms that weekend. I'm a travel lodge express customer, but I will be back to best western plus next time we are in town, and I'm sure we will be back. thanks so much for everything you've done for us. And especialy thanks to the cook on the barbecue at nights that made our evenings wonderful.

Seriously love this place! Staff was professional and friendly. Room was immaculate and large. The large outdoor chess set was a hit and the nightly reception by the fire was amazing... free food and drinks and s'mores with gourmet chocolate. I was sad to check out.

We stayed at this hotel before it was a Best western Plus & it was ok. But since the remodel & the branding to a Best Western Plus WOW it was a Fantastic place to stay . The remodel made it really a nice place to stay. The barbeque area out side the rooms was a great change & a beautiful addition . The addition of the elevator sure made a stay on the 2nd floor possible for us . The staff made the stay really enjoyable . On are yearly trips south if we any where close to Cedar City we will make the extra effort to stay at Cedar City Best Western .

Beautiful location and amenities! For the price point this is the best ever. Came here for the always enjoyable Utah Shakespeare Festival. This is in easy walking distance with many good restaurants around to choose from. That is, if you decide to pass on their free dinners (Mon-Fri) on the beautiful patio area with roaring fire pit. Also, enticingly close to Zion and Bryce National Parks. If you shy away from motels due to their general reputation put your worries aside and give this one a go.

We arrived late so were unable to take advantage of any amenities. Our king room on the ground floor was comfortable but definitely dated. I thought the hotel was nice--average--and a bit overpriced. But again, this could be due to arriving so late and needing to leave early the next morning. I would stay here again if we're passing through.

I was pleasantly surprised at how great this hotel was. The rooms were very clean and came with a mini fridge and microwave. All staff we dealt with were very nice and helpful. The nightly dinners were an added bonus and Tucker was awesome! My kids loved the s'mores every night. This was by far my kids' favorite hotel we have stayed at. Problem is now they think every hotel will be this awesome.

This was the most impressive hotel - from being able to check-in early to a super clean room to the evening barbecue, the swimming pool and the life-sized chess board. We had a fantastic stay and we will be back for sure. Every employee we talked with was so kind and helpful. Recommend them with no reservations!

This place has figured out how to do it right. I can not wait to go back. The comfort of the rooms and the cleanliness of the hotel are just the beginning. The grounds are immaculate and the staff is amazing. We picked radishes from the garden and had some with our free dinner. We were told there would be dinner and s'mores that evening and boy did they deliver. Their concept is get people out of their rooms and visit. They had a simple meal and every kind of chocolate you could imagine to put on the s'mores. Slept great and woke to a very filling breakfast. Hotel done right. Great Job!

Our family summer trip is perfect this year. Stayed for our visits to Zion and Bryce Canyon. First, when we arrived at BW, greeted by a very nice young lady at the front desk. Checking in was super quick. It was a short distance walk to the room. I worried at first being it on the bottom floor and at the very end near the stairway. But, it was the best room ever. Easy access to parking lot, swimming pool, gazebo, and front desk. Love it! Also, love the staffs so nice and made our stay so welcome and comfortable. We do not have any issues at all. Would definitely recommend to family & friends and come back again.

We were on a week long motorcycle trip and the was the most enjoyable place we stayed the whole week. It was a freindly fun place to stay. The staff was great. There was a nice outdoor area to relax and unwind.

I've stayed here several times. It is one of the better BW properties. The beds are superb, the wifi is fine and the staff is helpful and friendly. The entire property and grounds are well-maintained, nicely landscaped and decorated, and very clean. They obviously take pride in the property as evidenced by the notes and postings around the hotel asking for positive reviews to be posted online. But the quality isn't consistent. Breakfast is usually good, but this time the eggs were cool, the hash brown patty was barely thawed in a microwave and the sausage was just warm. Be sure to ask for an inside room. The hotel is on the main access from the freeway at a major intersection. Traffic noise on the south side of the property is very, very loud and goes late into the night.

This has to be one of the best hotels in their chain. Great service, very nice accommodations and there is a GREAT restaurant in the same parking lot. Definitely will stay here again and not far from Zion Park but much cheaper in price.

Over the past two years we have stayed at Cedar City Plus about 12 days and each time the service is outstanding. The personnel are professional, friendly, helpful, the rooms and facility is clean and well decorated. The evening BBQ is unique, friendly and fun. When the vegetables are in season it is a very special treat. The prices are reasonable and the breakfasts are excellent. One of the best, Best Western stays we have enjoyed.

Arrived early but we were allowed to check in. Barbecue dinner was provided. Breakfast was warm and was also provided. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Would definitely stay here again, highly recommend it.

We first found this site several years ago. And, make it a point to stop back every time we are in the area during our trips from SoCal. It is a special place. Most unique is the Guest Garden where guests are welcome to harvest whatever vegetables, etc. are in season. Even a walk through it is relaxing. Then, there is the large fire ring where the Management hosts an evening social gettogether, often with brats, pizza, etc.

Excellent value for money and management had a complementary hot dogs and smores event going in the evening which was very much appreciated as we arrived pretty late. The kids loved it also. Thank you.

We had a stop over in Cedar City on our way back to Las Vegas form Moab and this hotel was much more than we expected. The rooms were very nice and the property was VERY clean. They offered a nice breakfast AND surprised us with a cookout for dinner! They apparently do them every night. They grill hot dogs and hamburgers and even have s'mores around the fire pit. Nice pool area (although it was early in the season and closed) and they even have a beautiful vegetable garden that they share with guests. Such a warm and friendly place.

For a relatively small town, this hotel goes way above and beyond. It is one of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed in and having traveled around the world, that's saying a lot. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious. The staff is friendly, professional, and very accommodating. Not only do they include a fabulous breakfast in the morning, they BBQ in the evening AND roast marshmallows over a fire pit for s'mores that are also included. If you find yourself traveling in the area, you owe it to yourself to stay at this property.

This is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at in awhile. Not only are the rooms extremely clean and spacious, the offer an amazing breakfast...and even a happy hour that can double as dinner. You can't beat it for the price.

Very nice and comfortable hotel with easy access on and off I-15. Enjoyed eating at the Sizzler which was right across the street. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable beds. Recently upgraded and clean rooms.

If you only stay one place, this would be the place to choose. Way beyond our expectations. Our room had a door from the hall and a door to the outdoor patio, where theyhave fire pit and grill where they do a light supper. The evening we stayed we had hot dogs chips sodas s'mores, all complimentary. What a fun place. The breakfast area was clean and breakfast was very good. The room was exceptionally clean and was done so by Yolanda. The staff was very friendly, I wish we'd had longer to stay.

I often travel by myself and as a senior I appreciate the attention to detail this Best Western offers along with the safe surroundings. Lots of shopping experiences close by, easy access to good restaurants and a great bakery in the same complex. Munchies' on the patio in the evening is also a treat. A great spot for young and old and even a spot for your RV.

Nice rooms facing the parking area. Safe area and very quite. Conveniently located near the freeway as well as close to city center. The rooms are comfortable, nice beds, in room coffee, adequate bath items. I would certainly stay here again.

This hotel had me hooked right from the moment I checked in when they mentioned that they were Grilling burgers and bratwurst for the guest. I inquired on this and they mentioned that they do this every night for the guest but change up the food. The hotel was exceptionally maintained and very clean. The hotel is also located within walking distance of some exceptionally good restaurants.

Uniquely comfortable, beautiful design inside and grounds, spacious room, excellent mattress and glorious scenery. Also enjoyed the service and breakfast. We enjoyed how easy it was to find it, close to the university and Cedar Break.

Had a recent opportunity to stay at the BW Plus motel twice...once on the way to Colorado from California, and a week later on the way back. Picked the motel via a cell phone search while my wife was driving. Since its the off season, we just pulled in late in the afternoon and got a room. It was so nice, we stopped in again on the way home. Great friendly staff from the desk guy to the ladies cleaning rooms and preparing the breakfast. The two rooms we had were of very decent size but the bathroom in one room was kinda small, but that's OK. Plenty of fresh towels, etc. TV, microwave and fridge in each room. The rooms are quiet even though one we had faced a busy street but separated by the front parking lot so noise wasn't a factor. Free pre-cooked breakfast of cereals, scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, pastries and various fruits. There was also a waffle iron so you can make your own fresh waffles. What was really nice is they have a garden and BBQ area in the back. From Monday through Friday, they have an evening casual FREE dinner in the patio area. Each night is different. We were there on a Tuesday for both stays and they had grilled burgers, brats along with soft drinks and chips. Can't remember what they have on the other nights, but I remember them saying one night was pizza night. A nice touch. I think its called Best Western PLUS because they have about 10 RV parking spots out back so RVers can pay and park and utilized the motel amenities. This was probably the best casual type motel I've ever stayed at.

No complaints. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was good. At check-in, we requested to to be moved to quieter room away from the busty street, and it was done with no problem. We will definitely stay here again.

Loved our stay in the scenic little town of Cedar City and Best Western Plus was a great place to spend the night. Our room was very nice room and the free outdoor barbecue was a added plus. The Sizzler Restaurant across the street was very good.

Just returned from vacation, South Utah Parks +… Along with beautiful scenery we got amazing, outstanding experience in BW Plus Cedar City. It is an example of hospitality, professionalism and real customer care. Hotels is next to historic railroad building, in downtown. Even construction is not new, everything smell fresh and clean: it is very well maintained property. Breakfast good and fresh, but a nice touch to have a real plates , not plastic. Facility is beautiful and crispy clean, bedding and towels in the room is so fresh I wish I had it home… Highlight was a nightly light food (pizza, soup, some other refreshments) and s'mores in outside fire pit area Everybody fill welcomed here, not like in hotels, but more like in friends and family gathering. Host, Aron even allowed customers/guests try something from local vegetables garden. Unbelievable experience, we really felt ourselves welcomed there! If you would go for Zion/Brice NP area, I would recommend to book that BW Plus Cedar: it was a pleasure!

This hotel also has 10 spots for RVs with hookups along side their beautiful hotel which is where my family stayed. There is a gorgeous gas fireplace and stone tables with a beautiful garden that guests are welcome to eat from. There is life size chess, a pool, gym, breakfast in thr morning and they cook dinner by the fire every night for their guests. Ive never seen a place that appreciates and takes care of their guests to this extent. I would recommend anybody and everybody to stay here. Its right across the street from groceries, restaurants, and nice park. Its a beautiful place and everyone is so so nice. The perfect place to stay.

This facility has never disappointed me. Whether it is room décor, front lobby, breakfast bar, back-yard social area, this motel is the best value for your money. And the staff there is second to none, treating all of us with the utmost care and courtesy. Thank you for running such a fine establishment.

This is perhaps the BEST Best Western we have stayed at. The breakfast was definitely the best. The service was excellent, the room was great. Only one small caveat: the size of the toilet might be considered "kid sized"; for full figured folks, it's not ideal. Everything about this hotel is A+.

We stopped here for an overnight. Found s free dinner of hamburgers brats , pizza with a campfire of so mores. There is a small neat campground with trees and a nice outside sitting area. There are also raised organic vegetable gardens that are just being planted. All this for the guests and this evening slot were taking advantage of this hospitality. I will definitely stay here again! Room nice and super clean!

we had 9 rooms and all of them where excellent! not only did they provide breakfast but also had a BBQ/ S'mores at night, the griller even stayed late to accommodate our large group. great place to stay and will for sure be back

I usually stay at Marriotts or Hilton properties. I decided to try this hotel because of the great reviews. The reviews were spot on! Super Clean and The beds were really comfy. The breakfast was good. Nothing to write about but it wasn't bad. Only wish was that their was an elevator closer to the lobby, that the breakfast was something to write about and the TV color wasn't messed up and it had Netflix like most of the newer hotels. I would definitely stay here again though to experience the s'mores and light dinner, others wrote about.

Our pleasure trip to Utah in Cedar City was a very nice experience because fortunately we stayed at Best Western Plus in Cedar City.The hotel appearance was nice,all around very quiet and relax, also very clean, we get a room on the first floor but there is an elevator to go to upstairs too, parking lot is very secure and also close to the rooms, there is space for Motor Home, We where welcome at check in for a nice lady with a beautiful smile,at that moment i started to felt like we where in family, our room has a king bed,4 excellent pillows! and the bed very comfortable, also in the room:telephone,climate,desk, ejecutive chair, tv, cable, internet refrigerator, cafe maker and amenities to clean ourselves,towels shampoo etc. also because i'm a photographer i had a lot of receptacles to plug in my equipment to the ac or usb for my phone.In to the bathroom all was in perfect and clean condition.Our housekeeping YOLANDA toke special care cleaning the room,WOW! LIKE IN HOME! The bathroom has a shower and bathtub.We had a full complementary breakfast we serve ourselves cafe,eggs juice,bread..etc just great!The lady who made the food made an excellent work too, i'm felt bad because i didn't get all the names of the staff, but from the nice woman who made our check in thru the guy who made our check out they made and excellent work! the hotel has areas to walk, swimming pool,also a fitness room inside

This is a nice hotel, well situated and very quiet despite being near a busy junction. Our room was comfortable, the bed extra comfy. A light meal is served by the fire pit in the evening and is good for those who wish for company and conversation . The restaurant next door, The Grill Room is very good. Breakfast was OK not as good as some Best Westerns. Staff were friendly and polite.

Good motel with nice amenities, but the customer service was exemplary. Someone in my family left something in the room. Hotel staff had it, saved it and returned it when we drove back to retrieve it. Breakfast offerings were ordinary; beds were very comfy.

Nice staff and they serve a light dinner. Ours was soup, corn bread, chips and cookies. They also have a fire pit and do s'mores. We had fantastic breakfast burritos with amazing homemade salsa the next morning. Will definitely make this our hotel when in Cedar City.

Easy to check-in at arrival with friendly staff. Room was clean, open with two doors - one was used from the hallway and the other was used to exit the room to the outside. Very convenient when unloading and loading my vehicle with luggage.

We stayed here one night as a stop over on the way to Ca. It was a nice surprise . The room was clean and bed comfortable . They serve a nice evening snack of grilled brats, soup, cookies and chips from 6-9 pm . Breakfast is fresh fruit , cereal, make your own waffles, breads and muffins etc, yogurt, oatmeal packages etc. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room could use some updating with the toilet. We would stay here again. There are many restaurants and shops walking distance also big with a grocery store.

Kyle welcomed us into what seemed to be the best Best Western we've ever stayed in. An invitation was offered to join others in light snacks around the fire pit. Breakfast featured a good variety with real plates and cutlery. Directions were given after discussing dinner tastes.

Staff was very friendly and professional. Rooms very nice and breakfast very good too. Nice lobby and breakfast area. There is also a BW across the street, so make sure you book at this BW Plus as they are two different hotels.

Great property, excellent staff. The management of the hotel are clearly casting a quality focus and service vision for their employees. If we pass thru Cedar City again and need hotel accommodations, we won't look anywhere else.

My wife and I were traveling from California to Wisconsin and decided on this motel. The motel and service were truly outstanding. They have a good Breakfast,They were serving alight supper for free when we checked in. You could make s'mores out at the fire pit in the back. The employees were Very nice. It was very quite. The bed was good and things were clean. We will stay there again.

My 11 and 14 year old LOVED this hotel. Something to do with the making of s'mores over the camp fire. It is in a beautiful location. Conveniently located to walk to restaurants and/ or the grocery store with the mountain set behind it. Comfortable , clean and quiet. The best breakfast of this kind we have had yet My girls want to stay again!

This is the one of the best BW hotels. Room is so nice and cleaned well. Most of all, all staffs are so kind and friendly with smile. In addition, the breakfast is fantastic with quality and in great variety. Thank you all!

This place was awesome! From the moment we checked in until the day we left.... this hotel exceeded our expectations! Hospitality goes a long way and they definitely go out of their way to make you feel like family! Aaron was great and we enjoyed our nightly conversations with him! He was knowledgeable and of course his brauts and s'mores sealed the deal! We will definitely stay again!!

Stayed two days last year at this gem of a hotel before starting our visit to the national parks. We arrived late afternoon and most of the restaurants were closed. However, Jessica at the front desk let us know that there was grilling and dinner being prepared out back (Rick?? - the Ex-cop) and we were welcome to join in - at no cost! It was delicious! Another stand out was breakfast when we arrived just before they closed and they were out of a lot of food choices. The cook (Anna? Or Lily?) helped us by making fresh food just for us! Amazing service! The staff treated us like family - that they like! ??

Great room; helpful, friendly staff; great location. Shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Delightful patio area with fire pit, tables, chairs. Sat a chatted with fellow travelers. Hotel also offered light complimentary supper of soup each night; and, while we were there, s'mores one night and brats another! Will stay again if in the area.

From the moment we walked in we were warmly greeted and were well taken care of during our entire stay. This hotel offers a lot of extras and several special amenities. Grounds are beautiful, exercise room is well equipped, cookies on the counter, and drinks in the lobby. Breakfast was well presented with a wide variety of items to choose from. Staff was very friendly and the rooms are comfortable.

We all really enjoyed the light dinner reception and smores around the firepit. Staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. We also enjoyed the breakfast selection and quality. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Travled with my family of 4 and my parents. We very much enjoyed the breakfast, saved us big bucks not having to eat out. Kids loved the nightly Smores treat at the fire pit. Everyone was helpful and accommodating.There are resaurants and a large park just across the street. Our room was very reasonably priced. If we stay in Cedar City again we will be staying here.

The absolute best hotel I have stayed at in years great breakfast, amazing staff,friendly, polite and front desk really on there job clean room rates five stars also must see if in cedar. City for all the amenities and service I got and 50 bucks a night what a bargain.

Room was good and clean but what made this hotel special was the wonderful staff & extra special touches like soup supper, fire pit with everything for s'mores, nice patio with 2 bbqs that they must use in nicer weather, patio seating and gardens that would be nice in summer. Breakfast room very nice & clean.

Stopped here for the first time while passing through on a longer trip. It was Pie Day, and the staff really celebrated. They have a light dinner available, for us, with pie, and a really good breakfast buffet. Room was large, clean and a new mattress. Staff was a blast. Had a great time here.

Wow, the Cedar City Best Western Plus is the place to stay. Easy Ingress and Egress to all phases of Cedar City. Friendly Staff, extremely clean rooms, great breakfast & complimentary dinner in the evening. The whole facility works seamlessly to make your stay a wonderful experience. Keep up the great work.

We arrived in the late afternoon, several days after a big snow drop. The front parking lot where our room was located had snow and ice. So we had to take a long-way around the lobby rather than a direct route. Management should have cleaned up the snow and put ice melt down. Room was satisfactory, though there was street noise. Plenty of space in the King room. Lighting in the lounge area was dim. Bed was quite good. Lobby/public lounge area were quite nicely layout and furnished. Having the Sizzler restaurant next door was very convenient. Breakfast was okay, but not the egg and meat offerings were not great.

This Best Western is conveniently near I-15. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, welcoming and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was great, and the expedited check-out was a pleasant plus.

It's wonderful to have a room away from home that is clean, neat, and business friendly! I never sleep when away from home, but Best Western provided a comfortable bed for me to sleep soundly until morning.

This hotel is like stepping back in the 1960s - going to a motor lodge, but with all the modern amenities. They served an awesome homemade soup and bread, as an after 5:00 pm perk for their lodgers. The grounds are so nice, with outdoor fireplace. The rooms were comfy and the staff members were great. They had a delicious breakfast. My new favorite place to stay.

Close from the Interstate. Arranged like a motel with rooms pn two floors. Kind reception, and as we arrived late, we were offered a complimentary bowl of soup. Recent furniture. Clean. The room was somewhat too large to be heated with the AC window unit, and the bathroom was cold. The breakfast in the morning was nice.

The Best Western Plus hotel in Cedar City was one of the finest hotels we have stayed in. It was clean, quiet, and easy to access the rooms. The employees were helpful, courteous and eager to help with anything we needed, including directions on where we wanted to go.

This hotel has undergone some upgrades and renovations since our last stay. Staff was friendly & helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Evening "reception" offered chilli & cornbread, as well as pizza and cookies. This was most welcome after traveling and saved us from having to find a restaurant. A nice sitting area outside in back had a nice fire pit and offered s'mores. The morning breakfast was satisfying. We were very happy with our stay. Will definitely come again!

Really helpful staff. Complimentary Light dinner was a real bonus! Well located. Had a problem booking on line because the Best Western system won't handle Australian Visa cards. But easily sorted at check in where the cards are happily accepted. Appears to be a general best western problem which should be fixed. Be ready with an alternative card if you come from Australia!

Everything was fantastic. Good food, good service, and nice people. Rocio did an amazing job with the room! They even have a waffle maker. It is close to downtown Cedar City with plenty of parking and spacious rooms.

The attention to detail in the entire hotel is very evident and much appreciated. The grounds are beautiful even in winter. They even managed to have a makeup mirror for my aging eyes (something even the big chains like Marriott can't seem to manage)! They used real plates in the breakfast area! The rooms are spacious and look to be recently remodeled. Beds are comfy, and even the hallways are clean and welcoming!THANK YOU for a great stay!

Excellent place to stay. Was treated to a complimentary, homemade dinner in the lobby as well as a very nice conversation with the manager on duty. Was able to use their business center after I checked out as well. Very hospitable, clean, and well kept.

We stayed for a couple of nights in January. The hotel is fairly recently refurbished, clean, easy to find (though don't get it confused with the other Best Western across the street). Ample parking. Good price. Breakfast was well done with hot and cold buffet food.

When you go to a hotel you expect it to be clean an the service to be friendly, which they really were. What I didn't expect was when my car broke down they went out of their way to help me and make it as stress free as they possibly could. I was so grateful for this and will only stay here anytime I come to Cedar Ciy. The people here make you really feel at home.

Great hotel...very nice updates. Fun light dinner and fire pit Smores night. I would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a great night sleep and fun activities and great breakfast. This hotel is right across the street from the city park and library so my grand children loved that. The guest check-in was extremely helpful and fast.

Never ever stay anywhere else,,,Close to everything I need and or want !This is a small town You either travel through or have some kind of business to attend too.. Of course its an University town which has a great attraction to the Shakespearian plays in the fall each year........

This was one of our favorite family destinations in the Bryce Canyon area - but not so much anymore after my stay Dec 2017. Check in lady told me my rate that I booked through their website did not qualify me for my Diamond status recognition - what?? No fire going in the lobby on a cold december afternoon, no holiday music playing, no offer for coffee or tea by the cold lady at the desk. Breakfast staff guarding the fake eggs greets you with "room number" instead of "good morning" Rooms need to be refreshed and changed from the dark interiors, laundry machines are a ripoff. Seems like some bean-counter found a way to use cheap "intern" labor from foreign lands as a way to save some american dollars at the expense of what used to be a very friendly and home-like experience.

The check-in and ease of the room was perfect the beds were very comfortable the breakfast was hot and offered selections my only wish was that the coffee would have been a little bit stronger but that's a personal preference. Overall the staff and the decor of the hotel were wonderful.

This hotel is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The staff is friendly,welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are well appointed and the bed very comfortable. The evening reception with light fare is a real treat. The food is prepared on site, well presented and delicious. What a great place to unwind after a long tiring trip. Thank you to all the staff. This is a very comfortable Best Western with lots of recent upgrades: down comforter on beds, tall shower nozzle, curved shower curtain. But what made our stay amazing were all the extras: a check in goody bag, a welcome crab (made of towels) on the bed with 2 candy eyes, a free light dinner buffet, very easy and fast to access internet, prompt responses to our few questions... the list keeps on going. I strongly recommend trying this place out if you are in the area.

Needed to break up the journey from Salt Lake to Vegas and this was a great choice. Lovely clean hotel and staff super friendly. They had a complementary BBQ in the evening and it was a great opportunity to meet our fellow guests and other staff. Keep up the great work.

We got in late after a white knuckle drive in a blizzard. Staff were wonderful and very helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. In the morning our car was covered in snow and staff let us use their snow removal equipment and gave us great travel advice.

This hotel is well run, very welcoming,extremely clean and very reasonably priced for all the amenities they include, such as: Great breakfast selection, fitness room, evening food treats, outdoor fire pit and cookout/smoores, fresh fruit all day, newspapers, internet access, business center. This is all included in price of room.

We needed a Good place to stay with the kids for our trip home from california, and this place was great. It was really nice that the rooms have a door that goes outside and one that goes inside. the only thing they should change is to move the heater away from the window.

Upgraded facility that's a great value in Cedar City. Staff quickly helped us change rooms when heater wasn't functioning. Large room with lightening internet and Direct Tv. Slept like a baby in comfortable king bed. Located conveniently near our favorite restaurant Centro Pizza.

The Best Western Plus, Cedar City, UT is modern, clean, quiet and has a nice dining area off the lobby. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and I wouldn't have known anyone was near me except for the slamming of one door. The motel is away from the freeway, but easily accessible.

Our room was very comfortable. The night we arrived we were greeted with a soup and bread dinner and the breakfast the next morning was wonderful also.. Wonderful hospitality and very nice people. Thank you.

Our room was very clean. Room amenities were excellent,fridge,microwave ect. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Hot breakfast was very good with enough choices for all ages. In future travels I would definitely book Best Western as my home away from home.

Of the many BW hotels stayed, this is so far the Best for accommodations! Excellently cleaned room, comfortable beds and the grounds were well maintained. Upon arrival, there was a light dinner sread available and the guests were out by the patio area socializing and having smores! Wow, what a wonderful treat by BW! The staff was very professional, friendly, and sincere interested that our stay was comfortable.

This was an average hotel with average accommodations. While the staff was nice and helpful, there was nothing about this location that would push it beyond average. One will not be disappointed, but one will not be pleasantly surprised either.

Nicely renovated hotel. Easy quick access between the car and the our room. Enjoyed the easy to use treadmill machine in the fitness room. Friendly staff that when out of their way to make the us feel at home. Breakfast was good and the waffle machine was a big hit with us.

This Hotel is across another Best Western ,but tis one does not have a sign. So find your way in.May be they have not finish their organisation. It is very clean, beds are great,breakfast at its minimun. There is a good restaurant on the spot independant from the hotel.internet is very week and information about anything is limited. Do not forget that this state is a dry state and if you need to get liquor,younwill have to drive out of town.

I stayed here while traveling to Montana from Southern California. It is a few miles off Hwy 15 and is just across tbe street from a park and another Best Western. I did not have a chance to look through the town but it was a quiant, cute town that reminded me a little of Bend Oregon. The hotel had great amenities, including a fire pit, bikes for use, and a fitness center, Nice lobby / breakfast area also. There was a golf course close as well but I did not play it.

The lobby, room, fitness center and breakfast area were all very nice. The fitness center was very well equipped and one of the nicest I have used. The manager made soup for all the evening guests. What a treat! Keep up the professional atmosphere BW staff. It is appreciated.

Very clean motel with an excellent outside and inside appearance. The staff was very professional and helpful and the breakfast was very good.. Yolanda did a great job making up the room. We highly recommend this motel.

Good breakfast and service. It is older, but well kept. We enjoyed our stay and the receptionist was extremely nice. Would stay here again. There was a barbecue and entertainment area outside for guests to use. Also, they offer free light supper.

Barbeque was a very nice touch. We enjoyed the food. The staff was great. When it came time for breakfast. That was very good, we had a nice variety to choose from. The location was also very convenient.

Spent two nights here while seeing the national parks. Some rooms have both interior and exterior doors. Well maintained rooms. We had one housekeeping complaint that was promptly addressed by the front desk. Evening light barbeque with Smores provided in addition to breakfast.

-Great exercise room equipment. -Wish hotels would invest in a more decent coffee brand. -Garden not anywhere near in appearance as depicted, but is end- of- season as well., BBQ was ok- hot dogs, chips, and a drink

Very nice overnight stay. Room was very comfortable, liked having both interior and exterior access. Bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good, lots of extras. After a long day of driving having the BBQ dinner included was wonderful! Enjoyed sitting around the fire pit meeting other guests and enjoying the s'mores. They also have a great vegetable garden and you can help yourselves. Great place!

This property has a great patio and outdoor space with a garden, fire pit and gorgeous plants. they were cooking out brats the night we were there for their guests. The check in was fast and friendly and breakfast was great as usual at a BW plus. great room, comfy bed

Great hotel. Very accomodating. The nightly bbq is such a great benefit. Exercise facility was good. We stayed in a upper floor and never heard anyone. The antique store next door was an easy way to spend an hour browsing.

This was a very nice and clean hotel. All of the staff were friendly and very helpful. We have stayed there a couple of times and if we are in town again, will choose this hotel to stay. Close to the downtown area with several great spots to eat.

After a 2 hour drive from Las Vegas we arrived in the charming town of Cedar City. The Best Western is a sprawling compound with gracious hosts. First floor room was quiet, spacious, clean, easily accessible from parking lots. The large gazebo area was open to guests for hotel-sponsored brats and/or s'mores over a large gas fire pit. Plenty of good restaurants in town.

This hotel was the nicest Best Western Plus! The staff was exceptional. The rooms were fabulously roomy and impeccably clean! Lots of added touches to make the room extra comfortable. Very fresh breakfast

This is the best hotel I ever stayed at! Great staff,good breakfast.comfy beds.This hotel has a fire pit and every night they cook brats for the guests.Then you can make s'mores with a variety of ingredients.One evening it rained and was cold,so they brought in the brats and had soup in the lobby.Tucker and Jason were awesome and very informative.Gave us suggestions for visiting and answered all our questions.They also have a pool ,hot tub,(in season) horseshoe pits,large outdoor chess set,garden,workout room. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is the nicest Best Western we have ever stayed. Landscaping is beautiful with a full garden out back. Nice property with very clean rooms and comfortable beds. Very professional front desk associates. Free BBQ provided in the evenings from 6-9 pm. Centrally located where you can walk to shopping and food. The owners take pride in their property.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at this hotel. Everything about it was great! Room was spacious, clean and new. Evening barbecue was a wonderful surprise amenity. Breakfast very good. Even the guest laundry room was clean, and new! Staff were all friendly and helpful. Stayed in Cedar City because of its location between Zion and Bryce National Parks. Could not have worked out any better!

We were traveling across Nevada, Utah and New Mexico over two weeks. This was one of the best hotels we stayed in. They had an excellent breakfast, great staff, and best of all comfortable beds. We also enjoyed the on site garden.

The Best Western Plus in Cedar City is a beautiful property! Clean rooms, comfy beds, great breakfast in a very nice breakfast room. They have activities there in the evening that we are going to use next time we are in the area. The staff is courteous, friendly and helpful. We stay in BW whenever we can & this one we've been to on multiple occasions. Haven't been disappointed or had issues during any of the stays. I recommend this property if you ever find yourself in Cedar City, UT.

This is a great hotel. The best value you will find Cedar City. Clean, great service, wonderful amenities. They take such good care of their customers. I highly recommend. I have two daughters that attend SUU and we only stay at the Best Western Plus. Every time we stay we have a fantastic experience.

Stayed here while visiting Bryce Canyon & Zion. Located between the parks. Cedar City is a wonderful town. Loved the property. Very clean & quiet. Breakfast was the usual fare. Nightly complimentary barbecue followed by S'mores. Friendly helpful staff. Close to I-15. Highly recommend.

Clean, big room with a very comfortable bed, and friendly staff. The free breakfast was decent, but I wished they had old fashioned oatmeal available, and I think the scrambled eggs were made from powdered eggs. But a decent free breakfast none the less. Would definitely stay again. Good value.

The staff is always so polite and attentive! Their breakfast is usually delicious, except this time, I was bummed because there was no bacon and the hash browns were a little mushy and not crispy. Otherwise, it was very good with a wide selection of items.

Pleasant atmosphere and clean. Good vibrations throughout the property making my hotel experience comfortable and fun. The manager Jared stopped to ask if I needed anything and recommended a really good restaurant in the old train depot. Very nice.

This hotel had very nice rooms and represented great value. The complimentary pizza barbecue on the night we stayed was a nice touch. Nice hot tub and pool. The grounds included a well maintained garden which was a pleasant area for a morning coffee.

We had a great stay while visiting nearby Kolob canyon and Cedar Breaks. The hotel staff were very friendly. Jason who ran the BBQ and the fire pit showed us how to make S'Moores. There was a nice atmosphere round the fire pit in the evening too.

Stayed here three nights while visiting Bryce and Zion Canyons. Very friendly service, very clean, room was large. Bathroom a little small and breakfast a little weak, but over all a great choice. They have s'mores at a fire pit in the evenings and the hot tub was nice after a day of hiking also. Thanks Best Western for a nice stay.

Booked BE Plus in Cedar City, I was attending a wedding nearby and had a $30 travel card to use. The hotel offers a lot of amenities and services I did not get to utilize, but did enjoy the fact they had food for guests in the evening and Smores by the fire pit. They had a tasty mushroom and wild rice soup with corn bread on one of the recent cold nights so it was perfect. Fitness center fit my needs as well. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would likely stay there again.

This was a stellar hotel experience. I've stayed in 5-star hotel/resorts and this hotel was BETTER than some of them. Honestly, some 5-star hotel/resorts rooms were just not up to par (unclean, dinged up old furniture), the staff is rude if you ask for anything, and they offer nothing extra (without paying heavily). Best Western offered WAY more and with a smile. The property was immaculate, the rooms were BIG, clean, and up-to-date, and furniture was in good condition, the rooms seemed soundproof, and BIG one: the AC/heater unit worked AMAZING. I had no idea that Best Western took such great care of their guests. The free breakfasts and happy hour food service was a super pleasant surprise...the staff that runs the happy hour, particularly Aaron, were SUPER cool. The housekeeping/breakfast staff were beyond amazing, they earn every bit of my excellent review. Will look into staying with Best Western as much as possible.

This updated Best Western Plus was perfect for us, being in a safe and convenient location. The check in was welcoming and very helpful in answering questions about the area. The breakfast was average but the location off the lobby was spacious and welcoming. They also offered a nice evening snack, which we were not able to take advantage of.

This Best Western has what you'd expect from a Best Western room but the hotel staff and the hidden backyard really stand out. From check in to check out the team couldn't have been more helpful. The big surprise was the nightly backyard BBQ held in the sweet backyard they've created complete with veggies and a huge fire pit. Aaron, our friendly host, was full of information and generously offered us BBQ and desserts. We got to meet people from a variety of countries all hanging out and enjoying the evening together. Great job Best Western Cedar City!

We were very pleased with the service and amenities at the hotel. Everything was clean & the employees were nice. The hotel has a complimentary "cookout" with bratworst sausage and s'mores out back every evening. Breakfast was wonderful each day. We traveled with a tablet, but instead used the business center each of our 3 days to check our e-mail, since it was so accessible.

Our stay could not have been better. The property is in a great location for travel in the area. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. There is a vegetable garden, potted flowers, fire pit, hot tub, pool, horseshoes and an oversized chess set. The hot breakfast was fantastic. There is even a free BBQ every evening by the fire pit. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. My husband's best comment, "I didn't have to shower on my knees, the shower head is even tall enough for me." He is 6'4" tall and I am 5'8" so that was a delight for us. I highly recommend staying here and would not hesitate to stay again.

We had a group coming in and they bent over backwards to get us an adjoining room. The property is located at the edge of historic old Cedar City. Our rooms were spacious and the sink area is nice but the bathroom is a bit cramped. But, everything works well. Our only complaint is that walls are not insulated well so you hear everything that goes on next door. We were fortunate in that our neighbours were quiet and our party adjoining us were also quiet. Windows are also single pane which could get a bit drafty in the cold Cedar City winters. Any water running is heard through out the cluster of rooms near us. But, the area is very quiet and the A.C. works well. The real treat is how good the breakfasts are. Coffee and juice is very good. Breakfast items were consistently good and the bacon was cooked perfectly, as were the sausages. The offerings are basic but very good. The waffles are very good. The potatoes were a little dried out but tasted good. The evening BBQ and fire pit are fun. Great place to meet and greet, enjoying brats, plain, cheddar or jalapeno cheddar. There are also chips and s'mores for later. Drinks featuring water, juice and soda of various kinds on ice. That is a real treat. There is a horse shoe area which is a lot of fun, don't miss that. The property is next door to an ice cream store and a fun antique shop in the old Union Pacific depot. There is also a Sizzler across the street and it is very good. Overall, a nice, comfy motel and they did their best to give us a great deal and take care of our needs. Wonderful week.

Great place to stay! We loved the breakfast buffet! So many options. They also offered grilled hamburgers and hotdogs with chips and cookies, water and soft drinks in the evening. Love the outdoor gardens and fire pit where they provided the fixings to roast marshmallows and make s'mores. Rooms were clean and updated. Very nice facilities. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Location was great too. Everything was wonderful. Will definitely stay here whenever we visit Cedar City!

After traveling all day it was a welcoming sight to drive into a lodging that was inviting just with the beautiful flowers outside. Then there was a garden and seating area in back which was the place to sit and relax and also enjoy the cookout that wax part of the stay! Met other travelers and it was very relaxing and so enjoyable. If you are in Cedat City- stay at this Best Western - you will not be disappointed !

Wonderful hotel, next time we are in the area I would book another stay! The rooms were updated and comfortable. The fire pit with brats each night was an amazing touch. Staff were all friendly and professional.

This was such a wonderful place to stay half way on our 18 hour drive from CA to CO! We were treated to a free sunset BBQ dinner, including grilled veggies that we picked from the amazing garden, topping it off with s'mores. We thoroughly enjoyed working out in the well equipped gym, followed by a dip in the pool, before enjoying one of the best free hotel breakfasts ever. We will be back!!!

Cedar City Best Western was wonderful! From the friendly and accommodating staff to the large garden and beautiful property to the great breakfast and even- s'mores in the evening! Too many amenities to mention....they thought of everything a traveler could need....

We stayed in the RV park behind the hotel. Our stay was very enjoyable. For a $4.00 charge per person we could have breakfast, did that twice and it was very good, The nightly bbq at no charge, brats, chips and water or a soft drink was good. The staff was very friendly. We got tomatoes from the garden and nothing taste as good as a fresh picked tomato. If were ever in the area again we will being staying there again.

I can't decide what I liked best. Was it the fact that they had a garden where you can pick fresh produce? Was it the hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and drinks (compliments of the hotel)? Or was it the Smores roasted over their gas fire pit? Maybe it was the fact that they have caught on to one of my biggest complaints and installed a night light in the bathroom. Maybe it was feeling like I was in a clean room. Or maybe it was the full service breakfast that was actually well stocked with food that tasted decent? I love this place!

We love this place and will be back anytime we visit Cedar City, the location is perfect, staff is friendly and helpful. Excellent amenities and very clean. The room was very clean and comfortable. It also had one of the nicest community gardens we have had the pleasure to enjoy.

This is the BEST Best Western we've been to. Awesome vegtable garden in the back next to pool provides privacy. Blooming flowers galore, and charming brick walkways everywhere. Kyle at the front desk was so kind and helpful. Evenings offer bbq bratwursts, chips, and smores for the guest...complimentary! How many places have you stayed offer that?? RV people can rent drive through spaces with full hook up and access to the amenities. Breakfast also offered, cereal, waffles, biscuits and gravy, fruit and much more. Cedar city offers starry nights, Zion and Bryce National parks near by as well as Duck Creek and Navajo Lake. Cedar City is safe, and charming. This Best Western is a great choice to stay.

A very friendly staff and clean, well appointed rooms. The attractive grounds included beautiful flowers, an impressive vegetable garden and a restful patio area which is located under large shade trees. The complementary afternoon barbecue was a plus. This property did not get the highest rating for two reasons. Our room (430) was noisy. On a couple of occasions at about 12:30 AM, we were awaked by a very loud and wierd "rushing sound" that appeared to emanate from the bathroom plumbing. Each episode lasted about 10 minutes. Additionally, the complementary breakfast was not well stocked. Plates and some food items were often in short supply. All-in all, we were satisfied and would stay at this property again.
