« Fantastic place to stay »

If you only stay one place, this would be the place to choose. Way beyond our expectations. Our room had a door from the hall and a door to the outdoor patio, where theyhave fire pit and grill where they do a light supper. The evening we stayed we had hot dogs chips sodas s'mores, all complimentary. What a fun place. The breakfast area was clean and breakfast was very good. The room was exceptionally clean and was done so by Yolanda. The staff was very friendly, I wish we'd had longer to stay.

    « Safe and Sound »

I often travel by myself and as a senior I appreciate the attention to detail this Best Western offers along with the safe surroundings. Lots of shopping experiences close by, easy access to good restaurants and a great bakery in the same complex. Munchies' on the patio in the evening is also a treat. A great spot for young and old and even a spot for your RV.

    « Unexpected pleasure »

Nice rooms facing the parking area. Safe area and very quite. Conveniently located near the freeway as well as close to city center. The rooms are comfortable, nice beds, in room coffee, adequate bath items. I would certainly stay here again.

    « Very nice hotel »

This hotel had me hooked right from the moment I checked in when they mentioned that they were Grilling burgers and bratwurst for the guest. I inquired on this and they mentioned that they do this every night for the guest but change up the food. The hotel was exceptionally maintained and very clean. The hotel is also located within walking distance of some exceptionally good restaurants.

    « Uniquely »

Uniquely comfortable, beautiful design inside and grounds, spacious room, excellent mattress and glorious scenery. Also enjoyed the service and breakfast. We enjoyed how easy it was to find it, close to the university and Cedar Break.

« Great place to stay »

Had a recent opportunity to stay at the BW Plus motel twice...once on the way to Colorado from California, and a week later on the way back. Picked the motel via a cell phone search while my wife was driving. Since its the off season, we just pulled in late in the afternoon and got a room. It was so nice, we stopped in again on the way home. Great friendly staff from the desk guy to the ladies cleaning rooms and preparing the breakfast. The two rooms we had were of very decent size but the bathroom in one room was kinda small, but that's OK. Plenty of fresh towels, etc. TV, microwave and fridge in each room. The rooms are quiet even though one we had faced a busy street but separated by the front parking lot so noise wasn't a factor. Free pre-cooked breakfast of cereals, scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, pastries and various fruits. There was also a waffle iron so you can make your own fresh waffles. What was really nice is they have a garden and BBQ area in the back. From Monday through Friday, they have an evening casual FREE dinner in the patio area. Each night is different. We were there on a Tuesday for both stays and they had grilled burgers, brats along with soft drinks and chips. Can't remember what they have on the other nights, but I remember them saying one night was pizza night. A nice touch. I think its called Best Western PLUS because they have about 10 RV parking spots out back so RVers can pay and park and utilized the motel amenities. This was probably the best casual type motel I've ever stayed at.

« Clean, comfortable, and friendly »

No complaints. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was good. At check-in, we requested to to be moved to quieter room away from the busty street, and it was done with no problem. We will definitely stay here again.

    « Great hotel. »

Loved our stay in the scenic little town of Cedar City and Best Western Plus was a great place to spend the night. Our room was very nice room and the free outdoor barbecue was a added plus. The Sizzler Restaurant across the street was very good.

« the best hotel ever! »

Just returned from vacation, South Utah Parks +? Along with beautiful scenery we got amazing, outstanding experience in BW Plus Cedar City. It is an example of hospitality, professionalism and real customer care. Hotels is next to historic railroad building, in downtown. Even construction is not new, everything smell fresh and clean: it is very well maintained property. Breakfast good and fresh, but a nice touch to have a real plates , not plastic. Facility is beautiful and crispy clean, bedding and towels in the room is so fresh I wish I had it home? Highlight was a nightly light food (pizza, soup, some other refreshments) and s'mores in outside fire pit area Everybody fill welcomed here, not like in hotels, but more like in friends and family gathering. Host, Aron even allowed customers/guests try something from local vegetables garden. Unbelievable experience, we really felt ourselves welcomed there! If you would go for Zion/Brice NP area, I would recommend to book that BW Plus Cedar: it was a pleasure!

    « Absolutely Perfect »

This hotel also has 10 spots for RVs with hookups along side their beautiful hotel which is where my family stayed. There is a gorgeous gas fireplace and stone tables with a beautiful garden that guests are welcome to eat from. There is life size chess, a pool, gym, breakfast in thr morning and they cook dinner by the fire every night for their guests. Ive never seen a place that appreciates and takes care of their guests to this extent. I would recommend anybody and everybody to stay here. Its right across the street from groceries, restaurants, and nice park. Its a beautiful place and everyone is so so nice. The perfect place to stay.

    « Best Best Western »

This facility has never disappointed me. Whether it is room décor, front lobby, breakfast bar, back-yard social area, this motel is the best value for your money. And the staff there is second to none, treating all of us with the utmost care and courtesy. Thank you for running such a fine establishment.

    5
    « The BEST »

This is perhaps the BEST Best Western we have stayed at. The breakfast was definitely the best. The service was excellent, the room was great. Only one small caveat: the size of the toilet might be considered "kid sized"; for full figured folks, it's not ideal. Everything about this hotel is A+.

    5
« Wow- so welcoming and nice »

We stopped here for an overnight. Found s free dinner of hamburgers brats , pizza with a campfire of so mores. There is a small neat campground with trees and a nice outside sitting area. There are also raised organic vegetable gardens that are just being planted. All this for the guests and this evening slot were taking advantage of this hospitality. I will definitely stay here again! Room nice and super clean!

    5
« Excellent Place to stay! »

we had 9 rooms and all of them where excellent! not only did they provide breakfast but also had a BBQ/ S'mores at night, the griller even stayed late to accommodate our large group. great place to stay and will for sure be back

« Super Clean! Super comfortable. »

I usually stay at Marriotts or Hilton properties. I decided to try this hotel because of the great reviews. The reviews were spot on! Super Clean and The beds were really comfy. The breakfast was good. Nothing to write about but it wasn't bad. Only wish was that their was an elevator closer to the lobby, that the breakfast was something to write about and the TV color wasn't messed up and it had Netflix like most of the newer hotels. I would definitely stay here again though to experience the s'mores and light dinner, others wrote about.

« EXCELLLENT ,VERY NICE QUIET AND CLEAN »

Our pleasure trip to Utah in Cedar City was a very nice experience because fortunately we stayed at Best Western Plus in Cedar City. The hotel appearance was nice, all around very quiet and relax, also very clean, we get a room on the first floor but there is an elevator to go to upstairs too, parking lot is very secure and also close to the rooms, there is space for Motor Home, We where welcome at check in for a nice lady with a beautiful smile,at that moment i started to felt like we where in family, our room has a king bed,4 excellent pillows! and the bed very comfortable, also in the room:telephone, climate, desk, ejecutive chair, tv, cable, internet refrigerator, cafe maker and amenities to clean ourselves, towels shampoo etc. also because i'm a photographer i had a lot of receptacles to plug in my equipment to the ac or usb for my phone. In to the bathroom all was in perfect and clean condition. Our housekeeping YOLANDA toke special care cleaning the room,WOW! LIKE IN HOME! The bathroom has a shower and bathtub. We had a full complementary breakfast we serve ourselves cafe, eggs juice,bread..etc just great! The lady who made the food made an excellent work too, i'm felt bad because i didn't get all the names of the staff, but from the nice woman who made our check in thru the guy who made our check out they made and excellent work! the hotel has areas to walk, swimming pool, also a fitness room inside

    « Good Best Western »

This is a nice hotel, well situated and very quiet despite being near a busy junction. Our room was comfortable, the bed extra comfy. A light meal is served by the fire pit in the evening and is good for those who wish for company and conversation . The restaurant next door, The Grill Room is very good. Breakfast was OK not as good as some Best Westerns. Staff were friendly and polite.

    5
    « Nice! »

Good motel with nice amenities, but the customer service was exemplary. Someone in my family left something in the room. Hotel staff had it, saved it and returned it when we drove back to retrieve it. Breakfast offerings were ordinary; beds were very comfy.

    « nice and friendly »

Nice staff and they serve a light dinner. Ours was soup, corn bread, chips and cookies. They also have a fire pit and do s'mores. We had fantastic breakfast burritos with amazing homemade salsa the next morning. Will definitely make this our hotel when in Cedar City.

« Good Place to Stay »

Easy to check-in at arrival with friendly staff. Room was clean, open with two doors - one was used from the hallway and the other was used to exit the room to the outside. Very convenient when unloading and loading my vehicle with luggage.

    5
    « Great hotel for a stopover »

We stayed here one night as a stop over on the way to Ca. It was a nice surprise . The room was clean and bed comfortable . They serve a nice evening snack of grilled brats, soup, cookies and chips from 6-9 pm . Breakfast is fresh fruit , cereal, make your own waffles, breads and muffins etc, yogurt, oatmeal packages etc. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room could use some updating with the toilet. We would stay here again. There are many restaurants and shops walking distance also big with a grocery store.

    5
    « Very nice!!! »

« A good transition to a larger town from hiking adventures »

Kyle welcomed us into what seemed to be the best Best Western we've ever stayed in. An invitation was offered to join others in light snacks around the fire pit. Breakfast featured a good variety with real plates and cutlery. Directions were given after discussing dinner tastes.

    « Travelling Through »

Staff was very friendly and professional. Rooms very nice and breakfast very good too. Nice lobby and breakfast area. There is also a BW across the street, so make sure you book at this BW Plus as they are two different hotels.

« So good...went back for another night! »

Great property, excellent staff. The management of the hotel are clearly casting a quality focus and service vision for their employees. If we pass thru Cedar City again and need hotel accommodations, we won't look anywhere else.

« one night enroute to Zion »

My 11 and 14 year old LOVED this hotel. Something to do with the making of s'mores over the camp fire. It is in a beautiful location. Conveniently located to walk to restaurants and/ or the grocery store with the mountain set behind it. Comfortable , clean and quiet. The best breakfast of this kind we have had yet My girls want to stay again!

    « Amazing »

This place was awesome! From the moment we checked in until the day we left.... this hotel exceeded our expectations! Hospitality goes a long way and they definitely go out of their way to make you feel like family! Aaron was great and we enjoyed our nightly conversations with him! He was knowledgeable and of course his brauts and s'mores sealed the deal! We will definitely stay again!!

    5
    « Awesome special touches »

Stayed two days last year at this gem of a hotel before starting our visit to the national parks. We arrived late afternoon and most of the restaurants were closed. However, Jessica at the front desk let us know that there was grilling and dinner being prepared out back (Rick?? - the Ex-cop) and we were welcome to join in - at no cost! It was delicious! Another stand out was breakfast when we arrived just before they closed and they were out of a lot of food choices. The cook (Anna? Or Lily?) helped us by making fresh food just for us! Amazing service! The staff treated us like family - that they like! ??

    5
« Great place to stay »

Great room; helpful, friendly staff; great location. Shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Delightful patio area with fire pit, tables, chairs. Sat a chatted with fellow travelers. Hotel also offered light complimentary supper of soup each night; and, while we were there, s'mores one night and brats another! Will stay again if in the area.

    5
    « Best Hotel Experience »

From the moment we walked in we were warmly greeted and were well taken care of during our entire stay. This hotel offers a lot of extras and several special amenities. Grounds are beautiful, exercise room is well equipped, cookies on the counter, and drinks in the lobby. Breakfast was well presented with a wide variety of items to choose from. Staff was very friendly and the rooms are comfortable.

    « Very Impressed »

We all really enjoyed the light dinner reception and smores around the firepit. Staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. We also enjoyed the breakfast selection and quality. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

    5
    « Great value »

Travled with my family of 4 and my parents. We very much enjoyed the breakfast, saved us big bucks not having to eat out. Kids loved the nightly Smores treat at the fire pit. Everyone was helpful and accommodating. There are resaurants and a large park just across the street. Our room was very reasonably priced. If we stay in Cedar City again we will be staying here.

    « Overnight »

The absolute best hotel I have stayed at in years great breakfast, amazing staff, friendly, polite and front desk really on there job clean room rates five stars also must see if in cedar. City for all the amenities and service I got and 50 bucks a night what a bargain.

    5
    « So nice »

Room was good and clean but what made this hotel special was the wonderful staff & extra special touches like soup supper, fire pit with everything for s'mores, nice patio with 2 bbqs that they must use in nicer weather, patio seating and gardens that would be nice in summer. Breakfast room very nice & clean.

    5
    « Fun Hotel »

Stopped here for the first time while passing through on a longer trip. It was Pie Day, and the staff really celebrated. They have a light dinner available, for us, with pie, and a really good breakfast buffet. Room was large, clean and a new mattress. Staff was a blast. Had a great time here.

    5
    « Over night enroute »

A very nice property ! Checking seamless. Friendly, welcoming & professional. Very nice lobby which also served as breakfast area. The fireplace welcoming on a cold windy night. Room very clean and great decor. Very nice breakfast tended to by personable staff.

    « Nice place. »

An older facility that has a major overhaul. Very big rooms. Plenty of parking even for oversized vehicles. Great breakfast. Was the best "free hotel breakfast " I've had in quite some time. ( I average over 100 nights per year in mid range facilities. ) very friendly help.

    5
« Overnight in Cedar City »

Property is inviting, comfortable, and the staff exudes customer service! The complimentary evening soup and continental breakfast are appetizing and appreciated. Don't hesitate to book your stay with them!

    5
« Great Place to Stay »

Wow, the Cedar City Best Western Plus is the place to stay. Easy Ingress and Egress to all phases of Cedar City. Friendly Staff, extremely clean rooms, great breakfast & complimentary dinner in the evening. The whole facility works seamlessly to make your stay a wonderful experience. Keep up the great work.

    4
    « Icy parking lot »

We arrived in the late afternoon, several days after a big snow drop. The front parking lot where our room was located had snow and ice. So we had to take a long-way around the lobby rather than a direct route. Management should have cleaned up the snow and put ice melt down. Room was satisfactory, though there was street noise. Plenty of space in the King room. Lighting in the lounge area was dim. Bed was quite good. Lobby/public lounge area were quite nicely layout and furnished. Having the Sizzler restaurant next door was very convenient. Breakfast was okay, but not the egg and meat offerings were not great.

    5
« Convenient Hotel, Good Value »

This Best Western is conveniently near I-15. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, welcoming and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was great, and the expedited check-out was a pleasant plus.

    5
« No sheep needed here! »

It's wonderful to have a room away from home that is clean, neat, and business friendly! I never sleep when away from home, but Best Western provided a comfortable bed for me to sleep soundly until morning.

    5
    « Little Unknown Gem »

This hotel is like stepping back in the 1960s - going to a motor lodge, but with all the modern amenities. They served an awesome homemade soup and bread, as an after 5:00 pm perk for their lodgers. The grounds are so nice, with outdoor fireplace. The rooms were comfy and the staff members were great. They had a delicious breakfast. My new favorite place to stay.

    4
    « Much better than a motel »

Close from the Interstate. Arranged like a motel with rooms pn two floors. Kind reception, and as we arrived late, we were offered a complimentary bowl of soup. Recent furniture. Clean. The room was somewhat too large to be heated with the AC window unit, and the bathroom was cold. The breakfast in the morning was nice.

    5
« One Of The Best! »

The Best Western Plus hotel in Cedar City was one of the finest hotels we have stayed in. It was clean, quiet, and easy to access the rooms. The employees were helpful, courteous and eager to help with anything we needed, including directions on where we wanted to go.

    5
    « Clean, comfortable & cozy »

This hotel has undergone some upgrades and renovations since our last stay. Staff was friendly & helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Evening "reception" offered chilli & cornbread, as well as pizza and cookies. This was most welcome after traveling and saved us from having to find a restaurant. A nice sitting area outside in back had a nice fire pit and offered s'mores. The morning breakfast was satisfying. We were very happy with our stay. Will definitely come again!

« Best western cedar city - great value »

Really helpful staff. Complimentary Light dinner was a real bonus! Well located. Had a problem booking on line because the Best Western system won't handle Australian Visa cards. But easily sorted at check in where the cards are happily accepted. Appears to be a general best western problem which should be fixed. Be ready with an alternative card if you come from Australia!

    5
    « Great! »

Everything was fantastic. Good food, good service, and nice people. Rocio did an amazing job with the room! They even have a waffle maker. It is close to downtown Cedar City with plenty of parking and spacious rooms.

    5
« WOW - Incredible attention to detail »

The attention to detail in the entire hotel is very evident and much appreciated. The grounds are beautiful even in winter. They even managed to have a makeup mirror for my aging eyes (something even the big chains like Marriott can't seem to manage)! They used real plates in the breakfast area! The rooms are spacious and look to be recently remodeled. Beds are comfy, and even the hallways are clean and welcoming!THANK YOU for a great stay!

    5
    « Business Trip »

Excellent place to stay. Was treated to a complimentary, homemade dinner in the lobby as well as a very nice conversation with the manager on duty. Was able to use their business center after I checked out as well. Very hospitable, clean, and well kept.

    5
« Comfortable hotel, good situation »

We stayed for a couple of nights in January. The hotel is fairly recently refurbished, clean, easy to find (though don't get it confused with the other Best Western across the street). Ample parking. Good price. Breakfast was well done with hot and cold buffet food.

    5
    « Superior Customer Service »

When you go to a hotel you expect it to be clean an the service to be friendly, which they really were. What I didn't expect was when my car broke down they went out of their way to help me and make it as stress free as they possibly could. I was so grateful for this and will only stay here anytime I come to Cedar Ciy. The people here make you really feel at home.

Great hotel...very nice updates. Fun light dinner and fire pit Smores night. I would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a great night sleep and fun activities and great breakfast. This hotel is right across the street from the city park and library so my grand children loved that. The guest check-in was extremely helpful and fast.

« This the only place in Cedar I stay over night »

Never ever stay anywhere else,,,Close to everything I need and or want !This is a small town You either travel through or have some kind of business to attend too.. Of course its an University town which has a great attraction to the Shakespearian plays in the fall each year........

« Not so Great anymore »

This was one of our favorite family destinations in the Bryce Canyon area - but not so much anymore after my stay Dec 2017. Check in lady told me my rate that I booked through their website did not qualify me for my Diamond status recognition - what?? No fire going in the lobby on a cold december afternoon, no holiday music playing, no offer for coffee or tea by the cold lady at the desk. Breakfast staff guarding the fake eggs greets you with "room number" instead of "good morning" Rooms need to be refreshed and changed from the dark interiors, laundry machines are a ripoff. Seems like some bean-counter found a way to use cheap "intern" labor from foreign lands as a way to save some american dollars at the expense of what used to be a very friendly and home-like experience.

    5
    « Perfect overnight »

The check-in and ease of the room was perfect the beds were very comfortable the breakfast was hot and offered selections my only wish was that the coffee would have been a little bit stronger but that's a personal preference. Overall the staff and the decor of the hotel were wonderful.

    « Best Best Western »

This hotel is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The staff is friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are well appointed and the bed very comfortable. The evening reception with light fare is a real treat. The food is prepared on site, well presented and delicious. What a great place to unwind after a long tiring trip. Thank you to all the staff. We will be returning here whenever in the area.

    5
    « Phenomenal Service »

This is a very comfortable Best Western with lots of recent upgrades: down comforter on beds, tall shower nozzle, curved shower curtain. But what made our stay amazing were all the extras: a check in goody bag, a welcome crab (made of towels) on the bed with 2 candy eyes, a free light dinner buffet, very easy and fast to access internet, prompt responses to our few questions... the list keeps on going. I strongly recommend trying this place out if you are in the area.

    5
« Great hotel with wonderful staff »

Needed to break up the journey from Salt Lake to Vegas and this was a great choice. Lovely clean hotel and staff super friendly. They had a complementary BBQ in the evening and it was a great opportunity to meet our fellow guests and other staff. Keep up the great work.

    « Blizzard! »

We got in late after a white knuckle drive in a blizzard. Staff were wonderful and very helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. In the morning our car was covered in snow and staff let us use their snow removal equipment and gave us great travel advice.

« Best Western Plus, Cedar City, Utah »

This hotel is well run, very welcoming, extremely clean and very reasonably priced for all the amenities they include, such as: Great breakfast selection, fitness room, evening food treats, outdoor fire pit and cookout/smoores, fresh fruit all day, newspapers, internet access, business center. This is all included in price of room.

« Stay on the way home »

We needed a Good place to stay with the kids for our trip home from california, and this place was great. It was really nice that the rooms have a door that goes outside and one that goes inside. the only thing they should change is to move the heater away from the window.

    5
    « Great stopover location »

Upgraded facility that's a great value in Cedar City. Staff quickly helped us change rooms when heater wasn't functioning. Large room with lightening internet and Direct Tv. Slept like a baby in comfortable king bed. Located conveniently near our favorite restaurant Centro Pizza.

    « Modern and Quiet »

The Best Western Plus, Cedar City, UT is modern, clean, quiet and has a nice dining area off the lobby. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and I wouldn't have known anyone was near me except for the slamming of one door. The motel is away from the freeway, but easily accessible.

This was an average hotel with average accommodations. While the staff was nice and helpful, there was nothing about this location that would push it beyond average. One will not be disappointed, but one will not be pleasantly surprised either.

    « A quiet place on a busy corner. »

This Hotel is across another Best Western ,but tis one does not have a sign. So find your way in.May be they have not finish their organisation. It is very clean, beds are great, breakfast at its minimun. There is a good restaurant on the spot independant from the hotel.internet is very week and information about anything is limited. Do not forget that this state is a dry state and if you need to get liquor, younwill have to drive out of town.

« Nice hotel in quaint town. »

I stayed here while traveling to Montana from Southern California. It is a few miles off Hwy 15 and is just across tbe street from a park and another Best Western. I did not have a chance to look through the town but it was a quiant, cute town that reminded me a little of Bend Oregon. The hotel had great amenities, including a fire pit, bikes for use, and a fitness center, Nice lobby / breakfast area also. There was a golf course close as well but I did not play it.

    « Super nice hotel! »

The lobby, room, fitness center and breakfast area were all very nice. The fitness center was very well equipped and one of the nicest I have used. The manager made soup for all the evening guests. What a treat! Keep up the professional atmosphere BW staff. It is appreciated.

Good breakfast and service. It is older, but well kept. We enjoyed our stay and the receptionist was extremely nice. Would stay here again. There was a barbecue and entertainment area outside for guests to use. Also, they offer free light supper.

Spent two nights here while seeing the national parks. Some rooms have both interior and exterior doors. Well maintained rooms. We had one housekeeping complaint that was promptly addressed by the front desk. Evening light barbeque with Smores provided in addition to breakfast.

-Great exercise room equipment. -Wish hotels would invest in a more decent coffee brand. -Garden not anywhere near in appearance as depicted, but is end- of- season as well., BBQ was ok- hot dogs, chips, and a drink

Very nice overnight stay. Room was very comfortable, liked having both interior and exterior access. Bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good, lots of extras. After a long day of driving having the BBQ dinner included was wonderful! Enjoyed sitting around the fire pit meeting other guests and enjoying the s'mores. They also have a great vegetable garden and you can help yourselves. Great place!

« Along the Way to the National Park »

After a 2 hour drive from Las Vegas we arrived in the charming town of Cedar City. The Best Western is a sprawling compound with gracious hosts. First floor room was quiet, spacious, clean, easily accessible from parking lots. The large gazebo area was open to guests for hotel-sponsored brats and/or s'mores over a large gas fire pit. Plenty of good restaurants in town.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at this hotel. Everything about it was great! Room was spacious, clean and new. Evening barbecue was a wonderful surprise amenity. Breakfast very good. Even the guest laundry room was clean, and new! Staff were all friendly and helpful. Stayed in Cedar City because of its location between Zion and Bryce National Parks. Could not have worked out any better!

The Best Western Plus in Cedar City is a beautiful property! Clean rooms, comfy beds, great breakfast in a very nice breakfast room. They have activities there in the evening that we are going to use next time we are in the area. The staff is courteous, friendly and helpful. We stay in BW whenever we can & this one we've been to on multiple occasions. Haven't been disappointed or had issues during any of the stays. I recommend this property if you ever find yourself in Cedar City, UT.

Stayed here while visiting Bryce Canyon & Zion. Located between the parks. Cedar City is a wonderful town. Loved the property. Very clean & quiet. Breakfast was the usual fare. Nightly complimentary barbecue followed by S'mores. Friendly helpful staff. Close to I-15. Highly recommend.

    « Would stay again. »

Clean, big room with a very comfortable bed, and friendly staff. The free breakfast was decent, but I wished they had old fashioned oatmeal available, and I think the scrambled eggs were made from powdered eggs. But a decent free breakfast none the less. Would definitely stay again. Good value.

    « I love this property!! »

The staff is always so polite and attentive! Their breakfast is usually delicious, except this time, I was bummed because there was no bacon and the hash browns were a little mushy and not crispy. Otherwise, it was very good with a wide selection of items.

We had a great stay while visiting nearby Kolob canyon and Cedar Breaks. The hotel staff were very friendly. Jason who ran the BBQ and the fire pit showed us how to make S'Moores. There was a nice atmosphere round the fire pit in the evening too.

    « Very nice hotel »

Stayed here three nights while visiting Bryce and Zion Canyons. Very friendly service, very clean, room was large. Bathroom a little small and breakfast a little weak, but over all a great choice. They have s'mores at a fire pit in the evenings and the hot tub was nice after a day of hiking also. Thanks Best Western for a nice stay.

    « Great place »

Booked BE Plus in Cedar City, I was attending a wedding nearby and had a $30 travel card to use. The hotel offers a lot of amenities and services I did not get to utilize, but did enjoy the fact they had food for guests in the evening and Smores by the fire pit. They had a tasty mushroom and wild rice soup with corn bread on one of the recent cold nights so it was perfect. Fitness center fit my needs as well. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would likely stay there again.

    « Stellar Experience »

This was a stellar hotel experience. I've stayed in 5-star hotel/resorts and this hotel was BETTER than some of them. Honestly, some 5-star hotel/resorts rooms were just not up to par (unclean, dinged up old furniture), the staff is rude if you ask for anything, and they offer nothing extra (without paying heavily). Best Western offered WAY more and with a smile. The property was immaculate, the rooms were BIG, clean, and up-to-date, and furniture was in good condition, the rooms seemed soundproof, and BIG one: the AC/heater unit worked AMAZING. I had no idea that Best Western took such great care of their guests. The free breakfasts and happy hour food service was a super pleasant surprise...the staff that runs the happy hour, particularly Aaron, were SUPER cool. The housekeeping/breakfast staff were beyond amazing, they earn every bit of my excellent review. Will look into staying with Best Western as much as possible.

« Best place in a convenient location »

This updated Best Western Plus was perfect for us, being in a safe and convenient location. The check in was welcoming and very helpful in answering questions about the area. The breakfast was average but the location off the lobby was spacious and welcoming. They also offered a nice evening snack, which we were not able to take advantage of.

    4
    « Hidden Gem »

This Best Western has what you'd expect from a Best Western room but the hotel staff and the hidden backyard really stand out. From check in to check out the team couldn't have been more helpful. The big surprise was the nightly backyard BBQ held in the sweet backyard they've created complete with veggies and a huge fire pit. Aaron, our friendly host, was full of information and generously offered us BBQ and desserts. We got to meet people from a variety of countries all hanging out and enjoying the evening together. Great job Best Western Cedar City!

    « Good Experience »

We were very pleased with the service and amenities at the hotel. Everything was clean & the employees were nice. The hotel has a complimentary "cookout" with bratworst sausage and s'mores out back every evening. Breakfast was wonderful each day. We traveled with a tablet, but instead used the business center each of our 3 days to check our e-mail, since it was so accessible.

« So very beautiful and comfortable »

Our stay could not have been better. The property is in a great location for travel in the area. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. There is a vegetable garden, potted flowers, fire pit, hot tub, pool, horseshoes and an oversized chess set. The hot breakfast was fantastic. There is even a free BBQ every evening by the fire pit. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. My husband's best comment, "I didn't have to shower on my knees, the shower head is even tall enough for me." He is 6'4" tall and I am 5'8" so that was a delight for us. I highly recommend staying here and would not hesitate to stay again.

« A step above most and very friendly service. »

We had a group coming in and they bent over backwards to get us an adjoining room. The property is located at the edge of historic old Cedar City. Our rooms were spacious and the sink area is nice but the bathroom is a bit cramped. But, everything works well. Our only complaint is that walls are not insulated well so you hear everything that goes on next door. We were fortunate in that our neighbours were quiet and our party adjoining us were also quiet. Windows are also single pane which could get a bit drafty in the cold Cedar City winters. Any water running is heard through out the cluster of rooms near us. But, the area is very quiet and the A.C. works well. The real treat is how good the breakfasts are. Coffee and juice is very good. Breakfast items were consistently good and the bacon was cooked perfectly, as were the sausages. The offerings are basic but very good. The waffles are very good. The potatoes were a little dried out but tasted good. The evening BBQ and fire pit are fun. Great place to meet and greet, enjoying brats, plain, cheddar or jalapeno cheddar. There are also chips and s'mores for later. Drinks featuring water, juice and soda of various kinds on ice. That is a real treat. There is a horse shoe area which is a lot of fun, don't miss that. The property is next door to an ice cream store and a fun antique shop in the old Union Pacific depot. There is also a Sizzler across the street and it is very good. Overall, a nice, comfy motel and they did their best to give us a great deal and take care of our needs. Wonderful week.

Great place to stay! We loved the breakfast buffet! So many options. They also offered grilled hamburgers and hotdogs with chips and cookies, water and soft drinks in the evening. Love the outdoor gardens and fire pit where they provided the fixings to roast marshmallows and make s'mores. Rooms were clean and updated. Very nice facilities. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Location was great too. Everything was wonderful. Will definitely stay here whenever we visit Cedar City!

After traveling all day it was a welcoming sight to drive into a lodging that was inviting just with the beautiful flowers outside. Then there was a garden and seating area in back which was the place to sit and relax and also enjoy the cookout that wax part of the stay! Met other travelers and it was very relaxing and so enjoyable. If you are in Cedat City- stay at this Best Western - you will not be disappointed !

« The best overall stay ever! »

This was such a wonderful place to stay half way on our 18 hour drive from CA to CO! We were treated to a free sunset BBQ dinner, including grilled veggies that we picked from the amazing garden, topping it off with s'mores. We thoroughly enjoyed working out in the well equipped gym, followed by a dip in the pool, before enjoying one of the best free hotel breakfasts ever. We will be back!!!

    « RV Park »

We stayed in the RV park behind the hotel. Our stay was very enjoyable. For a $4.00 charge per person we could have breakfast, did that twice and it was very good, The nightly bbq at no charge, brats, chips and water or a soft drink was good. The staff was very friendly. We got tomatoes from the garden and nothing taste as good as a fresh picked tomato. If were ever in the area again we will being staying there again.

« We Loved This Place »

I can't decide what I liked best. Was it the fact that they had a garden where you can pick fresh produce? Was it the hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and drinks (compliments of the hotel)? Or was it the Smores roasted over their gas fire pit? Maybe it was the fact that they have caught on to one of my biggest complaints and installed a night light in the bathroom. Maybe it was feeling like I was in a clean room. Or maybe it was the full service breakfast that was actually well stocked with food that tasted decent? I love this place!

    « Great Weekend Getaway »

We love this place and will be back anytime we visit Cedar City, the location is perfect, staff is friendly and helpful. Excellent amenities and very clean. The room was very clean and comfortable. It also had one of the nicest community gardens we have had the pleasure to enjoy.

« nature, hikes, visiting friends »

This is the BEST Best Western we've been to. Awesome vegtable garden in the back next to pool provides privacy. Blooming flowers galore, and charming brick walkways everywhere. Kyle at the front desk was so kind and helpful. Evenings offer bbq bratwursts, chips, and smores for the guest...complimentary! How many places have you stayed offer that?? RV people can rent drive through spaces with full hook up and access to the amenities. Breakfast also offered, cereal, waffles, biscuits and gravy, fruit and much more. Cedar city offers starry nights, Zion and Bryce National parks near by as well as Duck Creek and Navajo Lake. Cedar City is safe, and charming. This Best Western is a great choice to stay.

    « Overall, a pleasant stay »

A very friendly staff and clean, well appointed rooms. The attractive grounds included beautiful flowers, an impressive vegetable garden and a restful patio area which is located under large shade trees. The complementary afternoon barbecue was a plus. This property did not get the highest rating for two reasons. Our room (430) was noisy. On a couple of occasions at about 12:30 AM, we were awaked by a very loud and wierd "rushing sound" that appeared to emanate from the bathroom plumbing. Each episode lasted about 10 minutes. Additionally, the complementary breakfast was not well stocked. Plates and some food items were often in short supply. All-in all, we were satisfied and would stay at this property again.

    5
« Best place to stay! »

This place is totally beautiful, there is a garden you can pick from complimentaryBBQ dinner and Smores nightly and a really nice breakfast. We are definitely coming bank later on this year! This location is really the best i have ever been too!!

    « What a Nice Upgrade »

My wife and I stayed here in 2013 and the property was OK but nothing to rave about. They have now transformed this hotel to the go to place in Cedar City. The rooms have been remodeled, and in addition to a nice breakfast area, they have a nightly BBQ featuring brats, burgers, s'mores and more on their lovely outdoor patio. The staff is friendly and no request is too much trouble. If you are visiting Zion and/or Bryce or have any other reason to spend some time in Cedar City I highly recommend this hotel as your first choice in overnight accommodations.

    5
    « A great place to stay »

The hotel is exceptional. I particuarly love the garden, the dinner they offered (that night it was steak and chicken). The breakfast included sausage patties and scambled eggs, both of which my wife and I like a lot; there were other excellent choices in a sunny, pleasant breakfast room.

    « Shakespearean Festival visit »

This hotel was like going on a cruise, the whole staff was amazing AND SO VERY FRIENDLY AND WONDERFUL. You will never find another hotel like this one unless you go on a cruise. I looked at other Best Western Plus in other cities and states and none offered the dinner amenities. We really enjoyed ever minute of our stay.

    « Vacation »

Starting with the landscaping and décor, this hotel felt good from the start. All employees were very helpful and personable. Each night they have a BBQ out by a Fire pit. It's a very relaxing atmosphere, eating hamburgers or brats, making s'mores, and talking with other guests. This place is a notch above the others and one I would recommend highly.

« Beautiful courtyard with vegetable garden, fire pit and large stone furniture »

The front desk staff are all very friendly and helpful. We were amazed to see the beautiful courtyard that they added since we last stayed here. Fresh vegetable gardens, fire-pit, and an added bonus of an evening BBQ - awesome for road weary travelers. I added some nice fresh vegetables to the store bought salad and it was great. Our room was clean and spacious but seemed to be lacking some furniture - one tiny chair and small table in a large empty space - interesting.

    « Just like home »

This is not the most luxurious hotel I have ever stayed in, however I love the feeling of being treated like family. From the moment you check in it's you get a feeling that you are welcome. Staff is very attentive and friendly, and I and sure due a for a raise, rooms are clean and we'll maintained. There is a garden in the back with fresh veggies which I think just a brilliant idea and guests are welcome to try fresh produce. Every evening there is a cookout and s'mores by the fire. Love the place and the location.

« Two night stay to visit National Parks. »

Friendly desk staff. Room clean, quiet, and comfortable. Great breakfast selection on real dishes and silverware, not paper and plastic. Beautiful grounds including a vegetable garden. Guests encouraged to pick from and staff will cook with the dinner meal that's also included. Hots, burgers, sausages, chips, watermelon, and soft drinks the two nights we stayed. Lots of out door seating with a huge fire pit for s'mores after dinner. Easy access off highway. Used this location to visit Zion and Bryce National Parks. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

    « Hotel with a Garden »

Enjoyed our stay at Best Western in Cedar City. The hotel has a garden by the pool and guests may pick vegetables. They offered a barbeque and grilled the corn we picked, along with chicken wings and smores. Enjoyed the barbeque after a long days drive through the desert. Lovely setting by the red mountains of Utah. Also offered a movie for kids on the lawn.

« Excellent place to stay in Cedar City »

This place is trying to provide an upscale kind of experience, and to a large extent, they have succeeded. Our room was pleasant and very clean. The grounds are lovely, with lots of pretty flowers out front. The complementary breakfast was excellent, and during the evening there was a cookout behind the facility, again complementary. Many thanks to YLeana for her efforts!

« Nice Rooms and bonus BBQ dinner »

I wish all hotels were like this one. Their rooms were very nice and clean. Very well kept hotel and the staff are friendly and pleasant. They have a great breakfast with more options than most other hotels. On top of all that they have a BBQ dinner that is included and don't forget the smores for dessert around a nice fire pit. I won't stay anywhere else in Cedar City and recommend this hotel to anyone I know.

    « Good and Bad »

The outside of the hotel was beautiful. The breakfast was excellent. But the room was paper thin. Every sound our neighbor made was amplified. When he turned on his shower at 4:15 am it sounded like a jet plane coming through the walls. Every time the air conditioner came on it woke us up. We got very little sleep.

    « Summer Stay »

Our stay at Best Western Plus was during the height of busy season, But the staff at the desk took time to give driving directions to places out of town as well as the airport.. The breakfast opened on time and had enough choices. The beds are comfortable and the WiFi worked. We would recommend to anyone.

This BW is one of the best we have ever stayed at. They have lovely large rooms, excellent service and best of all a free BBQ in the evening. We were there two nights to attend the Shakespeare Festival, which by the way is must!! My family wand to return as soon as we can.

« Best place in Cedar City »

I love this hotel and will be back. The staff is wonderful and the extra touches set the place apart from most other hotels. Not only does this Best Western include breakfast with its rooms, it has a complimentary dinner and s'mores every night as well. There is a fire pit and a beautiful vegetable garden there for all to enjoy, and free bike rentals! Truly one of my favorite hotels.

    5
    « Unexpected Delight! »

On our way from Zion National Park to Arches, we stopped here for the night. Not only was the place immaculate and stocked with great soaps and products, we were told there is a barbecue every night, complete with s'mores over a fire pit. There are gorgeous gardens and an outdoor seating area as well as a pool and hot tub. We expected clean and comfortable but this particular Best Western is so much more. The room and bathroom is updated with a massage showerhead. There was both a desk area and two chairs in our room. Free breakfast comes with the room. Be aware that there is another Best Western across the street. This is the one with the red sign. It is worth a stop--and only an hour from Zion National Park.

« Best Western Plus in Cedar City »

This hotel was recently renovated, and several nice amenities were added. The prices are a little higher now, but to us it was worth it. The hotel is easy to get to from the freeway and is very close to the Shakespeare Festival. They have added a garden (you can pick vegetables and have the staff wash and cook them for you) and a barbecue pit where they make s'mores. They also grill different foods each night by the barbecue pit, and dinner is complimentary. The night we stayed there, they cooked pizza and brats on the grill, and they provided side dishes and bottled water as well. We felt spoiled!

    « A traveler's delight »

First, the drive up appeal of this motel is great with large pots of colorful flowers everywhere. Next, the rooms are clean, updated, spacious and just nice. My husband even noticed the fresh caulking in the tub area. However, the best is the friendliness and food attractions. In addition to a very good breakfast with eggs, waffles, and fresh donuts, this hotel hosts a complimentary evening cookout near the pool in a patio area with a pergola, large fire-pit and outdoor lights. Not only is the food like hamburgers, brats and some-mores really good, but it's a wonderfully friendly atmosphere where you can talk and meet other travelers. On both evenings, we got into a friendly conversation with others staying at the hotel. What fun. There is also an area where they are growing fresh vegetables and it's interesting to see and read all about what they are raising. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I'd come back if I were even in the area again. It's special and the owner needs to be commended on creating such a nice place away from home.

    3
    « RV Park too »

We stayed 4 nights passing through the area to visit the nearby National Park Service sites. While the park is centrally located along a 5 lane busy commercial road in the center of town, the access is very difficult due to the angle getting off the street, over the sidewalk and into the park regardless of which driveway you use. This arrangement posed a scrapping and collision hazard. Registration/Check in is in the hotel lobby at the front desk. While the park is identified as a Good Sam member which should entitle GS members to a discount, no discount was offered at check in. The hotel didn't credit points to our Best Western membership either. And Best Western would not honor our stay to apply the points without providing them a copy of our credit card statement even though we provided them a copy of the credit card charges from the hotel's receipt. The interior roads are paved through the hotel parking lot but gravel in the RV area and site parking pads are compacted gravel. There wasn't much room to maneuver through the RV parking area making the turns very tight. All of the sites are pull thrus. The P/T's were long enough to remain connected to the toad or parked directly in line. The park completely understands the simple concept of the importance of a flat, level site as sites are level. They have full hook ups ? water, electricity (50/30/20 AMP), & sewer. The utility connections were generally at the middle of the site. The sewer connect was slightly elevated but it wasn't too difficult to establish a downhill flow. Distance establishes privacy between the sites but the sites were generally close. The sites alternate facing direction so the utility connections or a shared table separate the sites. No fire pits but the hotel provided an outdoor elevated gas fire pit in the common area. There were a few trees scattered among the sites so satellite reception was dependent on site assignment. The park information didn't mention any cable or broadcast channels. Didn't try to get any broadcast channels. The park provided WiFi was excellent. It was password protected. Our Verizon WiFi hotspot worked well. Didn't try the NET10 phone so don't know about the reception. The no designated fenced pet areas. While the hotel grounds were small, there was adequate space along the nearby city streets to exercise a dog. However, the adjacent US Post Office grounds was posted prohibiting dog walking on the grass. There were no bag dispensers and waste collection station around the hotel grounds but there were dumpsters near the RV area and garbage cans around the grounds. Pool & hot tub were closed for the season. For being in a hazardous/severe weather area, there was no underground storm shelter. None of the structures in the park were identified as a severe weather shelter. We would stay here again if in the area but mainly due to the perks and consigner.

This is an amazing hotel! There are beautiful potted flowers and decorative windmills all around th hotel and a barbeque area and fresh growing vegetable garden in the rear. Dinner is offered free of charge each night, and hamburgers, brats and vegetables that you select yourself out of the garden are all prepared for you, All the fixings and paper goods are provided, as well as chips and drinks. After dinner, complimentary marshmallows and roasting forks are provided for the campfire. Amazing! There is a small exercise room, outdoor pool and a full breakfast including waffles, pancakes, eggs, hash brown patties, various sweet breads, juice and bacon or sausage patties. The breakfast is included in the price of the room. The staff is very friendly and courteous and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The hotel is very near the Shakespeare Festival. What more could you ask for?

« Family friendly place, with lots of activities to enjoy »

Very nice hotel! There was a lot to enjoy on the property - a large outdoor chess game, the pool, vegetable and flower gardens, barbecue and s'mores every night, full breakfast, and free bike rentals. Our family enjoyed our stay!

What a great BW. Front desk personnel are fantastic, room was modern and clean, and there was dinner at the fire pit - INCLUDED. Can't say enough good things about this particular BW. Will definitely return! Lovely property!

« This is the Best Western Plus to compare all others to »

This is by far the best Best Western Plus I've been to. There is a back "patio" with a huge garden where you can pick your own veggies to add to the free BBQ dinner. The patio is similar to what you'd expect at a resort. There is a life sized chess table, a huge vegetable garden, BBQ, horse shoes, pool, hot tub, antique store, etc. The rooms are nice and the facilities are fantastic. The fitness room is top notch. It even has free weights. Wow!

    « HIGHLY RECOMMEND »

This is a lovely property located in the historic downtown district. It is beautifully landscaped with a covered outdoor patio area, fire pit, pool/jacuzzi, exercise room, wi-fi, full hot breakfast, exercise room, free parking, and elevators to the 2nd floor. Many BW properties do not have elevators. It also has RV hookups. This was our second stay and will stay there again when in Cedar City.

Very professional staff, comfortable rooms with extra amenities. Nightly "cookout", hamburgers, hotdogs, brauts, pizza, water and soda, no cost to you. Room rates well within reasonable for the all that they provided. I would not hesitate to stay with them again. Recommended place to stay.

Highly recommend.

We had such an amazing weekend in Cedar City. The hotel was wonderful. The staff... GREAT. Thank you to them for the BBQ each night. Morgan, Tucker and Yolanda thank you for a wonderful stay. This place was very nice and comfortable. The night time BBQ with Tucker and Morgan was a great surprise. I arrived early and the gentlemen at the counter did his best to get me checked in asap. I went to the store and I was there he called to tell me he had a room ready for me.

« Layover day in Cedar City »

Outstanding hotel! Besides the usual good points -- comfortable and clean rooms, good breakfast -- it was kind of like being at a resort. I knew ahead of time that there was a firepit with s'mores in the evening, but we found out on arriving that there was a free barbecue (hamburgers, hot dogs, and pizza) out on the courtyard too; same place that the s'mores would be later. Next to this firepit area was a spacious veggie garden in a number of raised beds. We were admiring the different veggies -- and then found out that they were for the guests! Fresh peas, carrots, and lettuce. We used the pool quite a bit, and the horseshoe pit, and two of us played a chess game on a life-size chess board that's also out in the courtyard. There was a kids' movie in the courtyard as well, at the same time as the s'mores. An extra benefit: the hotel also has bikes to rent, and it's within a few minutes ride to Cedar City's bike trails. Highly recommend this Best Western!

« Beautiful hotel with great amenities »

This hotel was beautiful, clean, and provided plenty of activities for our family accompanied by kind, professional attitudes. Our children enjoyed the pool area, life size chess game, nightly outdoor movies, and S'mores over the campfire (hotel provided) each night. In addition to providing s'mores each night, the hotel hosts a cookout style dinner each night- with drinks, chips, condiments, and items cooked on their BBQ grill. The hotel courtyard/outdoor area is beautiful- full of seating areas, gardens (pick and eat what ever is available), camp fire, gazebo type shade areas, and plenty of room to stretch out and relax. There is also a small area for RV camping at the back of the property. Breakfast is also included each morning, and is better than average with multipe hot items. A yogurt station with several items is included, along with a waffle station, and eggs/bacon/sausage/biscuits/ or combinations of those hot items. My only complaint about breakfast was that each morning about 30 minutes prior to closing, they stopped putting out as many items. So several times items were empty and never replaced- or we had to ask and wait (once the eggs were replaced but cold when they came out). The rooms were clean, updated, had very comfortable beds, plenty of outlets for electronics, and very spacious. The hotel is within walking distance to a very quaint historic district (dont miss the candy shops!). We also used the hotel bikes/helmets to explore some of the town's bike trails- bikes are included with your stay. Overall, this hotel is beautiful with a great staff. The price is higher than some of the other local hotels but worth it if you have time to spend at the property and enjoy what they have to offer.

« Awesome place to stay »

What a great hotel, sits on great property (plenty of places to eat in walking distance, courtyard was great, had great sitting areas and a great vegetable garden growing all sorts of great stuff. Had a great pool and also an Antique Store on the property with great finds. Everyone friendly, rooms are clean and quiet. Also the Old Train Station on the property, had a couple of places to eat in it but weren't open at the time we were there. Definitely want to go back and stay for about a week. Loved it.

« I now understand the 'Plus' in the name Best Western Plus! »

We chose this hotel based on its high ranking on Trip Advisor and we were absolutely blown away by the staff and facility. Our room was very clean! (Thank you Alma) Steve checked us in and started to tell us about the breakfast, but since we were checking out at 5:00 for early hiking in Zion, we told him we would not need to know about breakfast. He told us he would prepare a bag for our early departure. The bag included two power bars, two bananas, two bottles of water and two snacks. (Thank you Steve). The hotel was quite, clean and comfortable!

    « A Home Away from Home »

This was our first experience with a Best Western Plus and it was the BEST. Originally we were supposed to stay at another property but due to a wildfire our itinerary changed and we were moved to this hotel. It was the best thing to happen to us. The hotel staff was friendly and inviting. The hotel offers a complimentary evening BBQ. It was nothing fancy but sure was delicious. They have comfortable patio furniture and a large veggie garden growing for the hotel guests. We felt completely at home. After dark, they set up an outdoor movie on the lawn area which was a super hit with our kids. The hotel rooms were very modern, the beds super comfortable, and the wifi was great as well. We will definitely stay here again when we are in Cedar City.

Outstanding customer service. All of the staff from check-in to check-out was very nice and cordial. The room was very clean and comfortable. Special thanks to Master Gardener Arland Langford and Aaron Montgomery for making us feel at home and our stay so wonderful.

« Fantastic hotel, great value. Tons of extras. »

Loved this hotel, everything just went a little extra. The breakfast was better than most free breakfasts, but they also do a nightly BBQ, There are raised herb and vegetable gardens that they welcome you to use. There is movie each night with smores. My son loved the huge outdoor chess set. Said it was his favorite hotel, even though the pool was out of order--that is high praise. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

    « Lacks a Real Sign »

Ended up at the Best Western across the street because there is not an adequate sign at the BW Plus. Once we were redirected we found the hotel to be nice and recently remodeled. Room was spacious and comfortable. BBQ out by the pool every evening from 6-10pm free for guests. There's also a vegetable garden on site for the guests. Unusual for a BW is the existence of a small RV park in the back of the hotel. This is nice for families to use the amenities of the hotel like the pool, BBQ and free breakfast. Free breakfast was very good. Fresh and tasty scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, self-made waffles, cereals, etc. Coffee also only in the lobby. Please put a sign up on the corner!! The small sign on the side of the detached building does not help much.

We were greeted warmly and were assured that our comfort was a priority. Very helpful advise for seeing the sights. The breakfast experience was outstanding!!! Real plates and silverware. The food was varied and a complete menu was offered. Our room had a "back door" which opened up to a delightful picnic area. Very pretty. Every night there was a cookout. If we ever get back to Cedar City, this is where we'll stay for sure!!!

« More than an overnight stop over »

My first experience of BW Cedar City was a good one. Early check in available - I was totally confused as to the actual time as was passing in and out of time zones - UT, AZ, NV so turned up early but no problem! Desk staff very friendly, professional and helpful in getting me orientated of the area. Good rooms, clean, working Wi-Fi, nice breakfast. Good location although I did originally try and book into the 'other' BW across the street!

    5
    « Outstanding Experience! »

« Best stay on our 14 day road trip. »

Everything about this place was excellent....from the well-designed rooms, patio area and complimentary breakfast AND dinner options. The hotel is well managed. The staff was friendly and helpful. The calm sense of pride and professionalism was evident in their demeanor. A unique feature of this hotel are the raised bed herb gardens in the outdoor patio area. This is solely for the enjoyment of hotel guests. Each evening (wether permitting) there is a complimentary grilled BBQ offering there and guests may pick lettuce, spinach, radishes, etc. to eat with their meal....or take produce with them when they check out. After nine days on the road we were not expecting much more than a place to rest for one night. It was such a pleasant and refreshing surprise. Definitely a cut above most other places we've stayed.

« Super Clean and comfortable »

So surprised, a hotel that included a BBQ nightly cooked by staff in a lovely backyard garden area. How nice. Burgers, hotdogs, chips, tons of chocolate. Great variety of breakfast too, all included! Room spacious, comfortable pillows, great wifi. Only issue we had was our magnetic key kept locking us out. But staff always there to help and seemed apologetic. Highly recommend.

« This hotel is a gem in the Best Western locations. Close to Zion National Park and Cedar City itself is a lovely town. »

We had traveled over 500 miles and arrived at this gem of a hotel about dinner time. The staff greeted us and proceeded to tell us of the amenities the hotel had to offer, including a barbecued brauts dinner. It was just starting to snow and we were tired from our travels so the warm meal was a welcome comfort to us. We settled into our room and then enjoyed hearty barbecued brauts with all the trimmings, chips, beverages, tortilla soup and cookies for dessert. The food was delicious and the staff and surroundings very warm and comfortable. I heartily recommend the Best Western Plus Cedar City if you are visiting Utah's National Parks. It will not disappoint.

We had a great visit at the Best Western Plus in Cedar City. The location is convenient with a great grocery across the street. We visited both Zion and Bryce Canyon parks on separate days and this was a good location for the trips. The hotel is clean with a good bed and fluffy towels. They have a nice hot breakfast and a surprise barbecue in the evening. The barbeque even includes s'mores. We had a great experience there.

    5
« Phenomenal service and beautiful facility »

My wife and I have traveled the world for years, but never has any hotel provided a complimentary evening barbecue. The reason for this extraordinary act of kindness on our Sunday arrival: virtually every eatery in scenic Cedar City is closed for the Sunday sabbath. The hotel setting is idyllic--next to the the mountains of Cedar Breaks National Monument with easy access to Bryce, Zion and even North Grand Canyon. A helpful desk staff will will go out of there way to help with your travel needs. The facility is meticulously landscaped with a large patio cover, fire pit, and raised beds of flowers and vegetables.

    « Pleasantly surprised »

We often stay at Best Westerns when we travel to and from California. We decided to try Cedar City this trip as we have always stopped at St George. A little off the highway but easy to find. No reservation but quickly secured a good member rate. Surprised when we were offered dinner (complimentary) and as it was after 8:30 we tried it - very good chili and bratwurst. Room was a drive up motel style but very pleasant. Great breakfast the next morning. Staff very friendly.

    « Good Stay »

A beautiful hotel. We enjoyed the lovely grounds with the fire pit. We were too early for the pool, but we had a great stay. Employees were so helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet had a lot of options, but not the best quality (pretty typical for hotel breakfast). There is a great ice cream place right behind the hotel. Beds were firm but comfortable.

    4
« Older but well kept »

as with allot of the Best Western hotels this one is an older hotel but it is kept well and mostly up to date with modern conveniences. Staff are excellent, the only problem we experienced was getting room keys to work, out of four keys/cards we managed to get one that worked.

    5
    « excellent stay »

Very enthusiastic manager and excellent treatment. Free diner in the evening with central barbecue and nice fire outside in an excellent setting. Clean rooms and nice treatment at the desk. Excellent place to visit some of the parks in Utah. We really felt at home.

    4
    « Pretty good, but »

one section is made up of rooms that open into the parking lot, characteristic of cheap motels. The room was oversize with nothing in it. We felt kind of like we were relegated to the back 40. If you stay here, ask to be in the main part of the hotel, which is more like a Drury. Best Westerns can be a hit or miss proposition. This one was probably the nicest I've stayed in and looked brand new. The only restaurant within walking distance is a sizzler, unfortunately. A very promising looking Grill actually attached to the hotel has gone out of business.

    3
    « A very Adequate place »

When you stay at a chain Motel don't expect the Four Seasons. Rooms are large and clean ours was in the West Building and could have used a couch. As it was it was pretty empty. Breakfast is nothing to shout about but they did have fresh fruit in addition to the usual meat, egg, and waffles. This is a newly renovated facility, the only problem we had was with the card entry. It took two trips to the front desk and four cards to get the door to open. I was told they were having problems and had scheduled replacement of the system. Not well mark, sign on order

    5
    « The nicest stay »

« The best of the Best »

Staff friendly and helpful; room was clean as well as the entire hotel; linen, including towels were softer than most places; the bed was a little "hard" on the 3rd night. Love the soft water through the basin faucet and shower. The best breakfast we had at any Best Western...the "Plus" is the difference; those preparing the food and dining area were friendly and did an excellent job. This is the only Best Western Plus in the USA that serves free dinners--hamburger, sausages, pizza, etc when we were there. Ate our dinners there for 2 meals. Bicycles were available for loan. If this hotel was like all Best Western Plus everywhere; the price was also reasonable for what we got.

Thanks so much for the wonderful BBQ in the evening. It was great to mingle with staff and other guests. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff at the motel were pleasant and friendly. Breakfast was great to have prior to hitting the road.

« Their wonderful staff is the difference »

Family leisure trip. We live in San Diego and this was our second time staying at this hotel this year (we also stayed New Year's weekend); as there is so much to see and do nearby. We chose to stay here again because the employees have a great attitude: they are exceptionally helpful with suggestions for the sites/activities nearby and go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. It is by far the best value in this price range/ hotel class that we have seen. Will definitely be back to continue to explore more of Utah's great sites accessible from this area!

« Great stay! The staff was so lovely and accommodating and the room was VERY clean and comfortable »

My sister and I were travelling through Cedar City on our way home and stayed at the BW in Cedar City. It was such a surprise when we checked in and were greeted by such pleasant staff and an invite not only to breakfast but a BBQ dinner. It was fun and delicious. The room was very clean and comfortable too. All in all it couldn't have been better.

    5
    « Really nice facility »

There are two Best Westerns across the street from each other. For the night we were booked the price was about the same--I would suggest going to the BW Plus. There has been a major remodel of the landscape. If the weather is nice there is an outdoor firepit, a life sized chess board--very welcoming fun place. They also have snacks--in our case brats & sauerkraut in the evening. It appeared that something was available every evening. For us, after traveling all day we weren't up for going out and this hit the spot for us. Breakfast was normal BW fare, but good. Great bed.

    5
    « Totally impressed »

This hotel is beautifully landscaped and has some very nice extras. We didn't have to pay for dinner since they had some wonderful homemade chili and brats with s'mores. Awesome. The free food was out out back by their fire pit and garden area. During the summer, we are told they have free veggies and fruits that are grown on site. Good breakfast during our stay. Best Plus I have stay at in a long time. Great friendly staff.

    « Outstanding Hotel Experience »

Not only was the price terrific, but the check in and the s'mores around the firepit and the dinner in the dining area, were truly above and beyond. The front staff was very helpful and courteous. The rooms were very comfortable and the bath was extremely clean and they even had a magnifying mirror for applying makeup. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this outstanding hotel. Make sure you book the BW PLUS hotel across the street from the BW. OUTSTANDING!

    « Great Place »

We travelled across Utah and stayed at multiple Best Westerns and this one was the best. We called on the way to the hotel to get a room last minute because one of my children was not feeling well. Jessica at front desk was very nice to us on the phone and in person getting us quickly settled. Their was a complimentary light dinner waiting for us which hit the spot and kids loved the smores outside at the fire pit. Room was very clean and we enjoyed the early 6a breakfast before we hit the road again. If we are in the area we would definitely stay again.

We stopped in for 1 night and we were impressed. The hotel is located in the centre of Cedar City. Across the street from the Best Western. Staff are very helpful. Rooms are well done. Grounds are immaculate. Walking distance to many restaurants. The hotel offers complimentary light dinner, and a wonderful breakfast. You cannot go wrong staying here.

First time ever We are offered a hot snack for supper. What a great idea. Very nice hotel. Best, Best Western I have ever stayed in. Very handy to the I 15 interstate. Zion and Bryce Canyon. Brand new facility that even includes RV spaces.

The hotel rooms were very nice and clean. The restrooms were spacious. The hotel staff at check in and check out were all very professional and caring. It was very much appreciated after attending a funeral in California and then driving to Cedar City the same day.

This is a very nice hotel. Impressive outside areas with things to do while staying. Right in town and Very quiet. We were very happy staying here. Very close to the northwest area of Zion National Park. We will stay again in the future.

    « Beautiful place! »

This was a great place to stay and we wish we had been able to stay longer! The decor and hotel are beautiful with some nice touches added. It was cold during our stay so the fire pit and s'mores were offered after dinner. The breakfast room is cozy with a large fireplace and Tv. Nicely decorated rooms, comfortable beds, and friendly staff! We will definitely stay again!

« Friendly Place with lots of perks. »

We stayed two nights at the Best Western Plus, Nov. 22 & 23, 2016. Morgan and Tucker BBQed some chicken for supper for their guests (Free of Charge) and topped it off with Peach Cobbler, also cooked over the BBQ. We enjoyed visiting with guests from all over the States (we are Canadian) while we waited for the BBQing to be done we were warmed by an outdoor fire pit. They also provide free breakfast with a nice variety of food to choose from. Kristina did a great job of keeping everything in the breakfast room, clean, tidy and even asked if we would like her to cook us more eggs. Also has a waffle iron. The rooms were very nice and clean and this is a very updated hotel right on the main thoroughfare so it is easy to find. Aaron was very approachable and friendly, as were the rest of the staff we met, including the main desk people. In the summer they grow their own vegetables in raised beds and have a lot of patio space for relaxing outside. Their dining room is very large, too.

Great hotel with awesome staff. I had a 4:00am departure and the night staff prepared a breakfast bag for me. Couldn't ask for better service! Location is convenient in Cedar City with amazing mountain views!

« Our "Go-to" place in Cedar City »

Whenever we're driving from SoCal to WY [an annual trip], we always stay at the Best Western Plus Cedar City. The accommodations are comfy and the hotel staff are extraordinary. The nightly bbq by the fire ring makes for a memorable stay. The brats, home-made chili and 2 kinds of spaghetti squash (sweet or savory) were just what we needed after a long 10 hour drive. Tucker, the bbq chef was charming and so welcoming....as were the other guests who we met that evening. You can't find a better hotel--definitely value-for-your-money!

    « A Nice Updated Place »

They just updated this location and separated it from the hotel across the street, making it, its own entity. It is a very nice location. The staff is friendly. It is centrally located. The rooms are very nice. The room I had, had a door to the outside and also to the inside hall, which was nice. In general, this is a great choice to stay in Cedar City.

    « A night in Cedar City »

Cedar City is a small town with a long history for the region. The Best Western Plus is a newish motel on Main Street with easy access and parking. The staff seemed very concerned that we have a good stay and were helpful in giving us a choice of rooms and locations. Kristine who ran the early morning breakfast buffet was bright and pleasant when we arrived in the morning and came around to see how we were doing. The breakfast area is part of the lobby with lots of windows and daylight. Nice not to be in a back room.

    « A Hidden Gem! »

Great little Hotel right in the heart of Cedar City. After a long drive, it was great to step out and take some time to walk the lovely downtown area. The Hotel itself is so friendly and the Owners have made this special! Beautiful back yard fire pit area with patio, seating, landscaping and even raised garden plots carefully maintained by the gardener. Backyard BBQ offered nightly with hot dogs, s'mores (with every imaginable type of chocolate and wafers) and refreshments. Rooms meanwhile were as expected with the PLUS - comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast offered a wide variety of items and the ladies working were wonderful. thank you Elsy!

    « Excellent stay »

Stayed here overnight on a recent road trip we did in America. The king size room was excellent, very spacious and comfortable and it was very clean. All the staff were friendly and helpful, included breakfast was good and a bonus we didn't expect was the barbecue at night around the fire pit, the food and company was great. After a particularly long day's drive to reach Cedar City it was fantastic not to have to worry about heading out again to find somewhere to eat and to be able to relax and chill out a bit. Highly recommend Best Western Plus Cedar City.

    « Awesome Place »

I stayed here for about 6 weeks for work. I stayed in several different King rooms, and all of them were clean, updated, and comfortable. Something that really sets this place apart is the the back patio. They have a garden, giant fire pit, and a nightly BBQ. I don't know any other place that offers breakfast and dinner. It's a great atmosphere! Also, I left some belongings, and when I called, the staff was very helpful in getting my belongings back to me. I've seen a lot of negative reviews from other hotels about losing items for good, when hotel staff was unhelpful.

« nice staff, clean, new rooms »

We got in early as usual, but the allowed us to use the exercise equipment, and hang out in the lobby. The work out room was as nice equipment as I ave seen in a chain motel, new equipment and nice room. They have cook outs for the guests outside in the evenings. Although we didn't eat there, when we came back from dinner, we saw several people at the outdoor fire pit eating Knockwusrt and pizza. They also had a great breakfast, that was included in the room charge. Nice staff.

    « What a value! »

On our way to the National Parks of southern Utah, we spent a night at this Best Western. Clean, spacious room, comfortable and extremely friendly staff. Wonderful and unexpected bar-b-que complimentary: grilled chicken, brats, homemade soup. Outstanding! Can't be the value. Breakfast fine, nice workout room. Don't pass up this gem. We'll return...

I stayed at this hotel for one night on my way home from California. The room was in excellent condition. The free continental breakfast was much better than expected. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. They also had a free outdoor barbecue going on with amores. I would definitely plan on staying here again.

Kirsten at.the reception desk and Aaron at the barbecue are definitely "keepers". They know how to make you feel at home. The dinner time barbecue was a real treat and the breakfast was fantastic. A newly renovated, extra clean property lives up to the "PLUS" in this Best Western PLUS. All of the staff we encountered were very pleasant and helpful.

    « Outstanding! »

We've stayed at this property several times--before, during and after the remodel. The remodel is absolutely amazing! It's like a mini-resort. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. But there's so much more--the peaceful outdoor seating area. I lounged out there and read in the morning--so quiet and beautiful. There's also the vegetable garden which is CRAZY! They're growing everything. And you'll taste some of it in the homemade salsa every morning. And the fire pit experience at night is not to be missed. We roasted marshmallows and made s'mores after attending the Utah Shakespeare Festival. The concierge has all the marshmallow roasting bases covered so you can make any type of s'more your heart desires. They also throw BBQs earlier in the night. The breakfast every morning was delicious--lots of hot and cold variety (delicious salsa!). And you can work it off in the new fitness room which has nice equipment. We played horseshoes and would've played croquet if we'd had more time. Such a fun place and now our favorite in Cedar City (we've stayed at many of the properties here). Treat yourself to a great meal at The Depot which is on the property. It is fine dining and everything we had was incredible. Try the arancini--so good! Enjoy--but please leave room for my family. We love this place!

    « Comfortable and clean »

I stayed here one night with my family, while traveling for work. We arrived late in the evening. The agent working the front desk was friendly, but could not offer me as good of a rate as I could find online. So I booked online, at the front desk. This seemed odd to me, as I know they have to pay the third-party a commission. But whatever, I got the room for a fair price. We got a king room that was clean and very comfortable. It was very spacious. The hotel has undergone a renovation, and everything seemed fresh. The bathrooms had not been updated, but were still clean, and very bright, which I appreciated. The bed was comfortable. It was nice to have a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The pool and hot tub were out of commission, but we didn't have time to use them anyways. The ice machine nearest our room was out of order as well, but we didn't need it. No loss. Breakfast the next morning was really good. Waffles, breakfast burritos, eggs, sausage, cereal, pastries. Enough that anyone would be happy. I hear they have a great cook out, but we arrived too late to enjoy it. And very comfortable and clean room. I would recommend it to anyone traveling through. All of the staff I encountered was very helpful and friendly.

    « We had a good stay »

This is a new, nice and clean hotel. We had a one night relaxing stay. The check-in staff was courteous. The breakfast was not different than the ones served in other Best Westerns (without plus) but OK for a free breakfast. We didn't try but they also offered complimentary barbecue in the evening and this was surely a PLUS.

« Great place to stay! »

Very friendly staff and the rooms were clean and comfortable with all of the amenities. The front desk attendants were nice. We especially enjoyed the evening "fire pit" gathering. Aaron and Tucker were really helpful. Aaron suggested that we might enjoy seeing Cedar Breaks which we found very fascinating. Breakfasts were great with a wide variety of food. Overall, if we in the area again, we would definitely stay at the Best Western Plus.

    « Good value »

We spent one night here on our way to Capitol Reef. We drove from the LAS Vegas Airport and it took about 2.5 hrs. Our room was on the first floor facing the main. We did here some street noise but nothing too significant. The room was very clean, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. That evening they were hosting a cookout and camp fire in the courtyard. We did check it out and visited with the staff who were very friendly but wanted a more complete meal following a long day of travel. The Depot Grill next door was just what we needed-nice variety with great salads and pasta. In the morning the complimentary breakfast was perfect with a good selection of hot and cold items. Our travel plans were to go to Capitol Reef via Cedar Monument then to Bryce. The towns are fairly small on our route so we went to the local Walmart (a short distance away from the BW) to pick up a cooler, water, snacks, beer etc. We highly recommend this property for a short stay.

Our great service started when Blake at the front desk answered the phone and helped us with our accommodations for the night. Once we arrived. Blake invited us too the complimentary cookout being hosted outside at the fire pit. Arron and Brittany graciously greeted us and introduced themselves putting us at ease and made us feel welcome. They introduced us to other guests and as it turned out a guest knew one of our family members from Minnissota. Small world!! GB Jack and Kathy B. Everything was neat and clean. We would recommend this location. Thank you for our comfortable stay.

« The best hotel ever »

My wife, three boys and I have had the best hotel stay ever. They treated us like family and spoiled us with so many things to do, that we didn't want to leave. The staff was top notch. Food was excellent. Thank to Elsy, Arlene, Angeles, and Tania who went out of their way to help my crazy boys get breakfast. I can't compare my stay to anywhere I have ever been before. And I travel a lot. I can't say enough good about it, so you will just have to experience it for yourselves!

    « Pleasant Surprises! »

Friends had booked this hotel for us to serve as a two night home base while we visited Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. We knew nothing about the place but had many pleasant surprises. Everyone was friendly and exceptionally helpful. We had planned to enjoy a barbecue around the fire-pit on our last evening but a rare rain had fallen and everything was soaked. Aaron Montgomery stepped in and covered the wet benches with towels so we could enjoy the beautiful patio and free brats and cheeseburgers along with his informative conversation. We finished the evening with delicious s-mores created with a variety of crackers and chocolates. The breakfasts were also surprisingly good and Kristina, Angeles and Tania made sure that we had everything we wanted. Everything was very clean, well painted and well caulked.

    « A Lovely Property »

We found ourselves needing a couple nights stay before heading back to Las Vegas to fly home after two wonderful weeks exploring the Utah Nat'l Parks. We saw that Cedar City was home to the Utah Shakespeare Festival and the Southern Utah University campus so figured plenty to keep us busy for a day. Seeing a BW Plus was in Cedar City I made a reservation online before we departed home. This property is so well maintained it looks to be new. Steven at the front deck helped get us checked in and gave us helpful information about things to do.Our room was again spacious, clean and well appointed. The first night we were awakened in the middle of the night by some high pitched unrelenting noise unconnected with the hotel itself. Daniel, the manager, was making rounds during the breakfast time and asked about our stay and any needs. We mentioned the noise and Daniel went into action and had us moved into another room on the opposite side of the property hoping it would be quiet. This was above and beyond. We had a very peaceful night. The property offers a generous and well presented breakfast. There is a work out room and in season appears to be a lovely large pool and hot tub. Both nights we were there they offered a light fare BBQ in the back courtyard. There is a large fire pit and room for people to sit and relax (weather permitting) and co-mingle if they so choose. Of particular interest to me was the large vegetable garden in handsome above ground planters. The vegetables had signs talking about the growing and nutrition and in some cases cooking instructions. The gardener explained the garden was just for the guests to enjoy and if they wanted to pluck a tomato or zucchini they were invited to do so. Nice touch. Also bicycles and helmets are available to use. There is a nice bike trail not too far away called the Coal Creek Trail and a lovely park.

    « more than expected! »

I chose this hotel for its middle of the road price thinking I could stay two nights and deal with it. Was I wrong!! Check in staff was very friendly and quick, also signing me up for automatic express check out. Room was clean and everything worked great including the comfortable bed and pillows. The outdoor garden area/ fire pit was great not to mention the free dinner they were barbecuing EVERY NIGHT. I actually picked a jalapeño from the garden and the cook grilled it with cheese to go along with the bratwurst. The atmosphere and the other guests were great and friendly and the RV parking in the back is a great idea. I will definately stay here on my next visit.

« We really enjoyed the garden area and the care and concern of the staff for the comfort of our stay. »

Kristen, Angeles, and Tania were very helpful, polite, and caring. This model of Best Western Plus is an excellent example of leaders in hotels. The room was clean the the bed was comfortable. We will stay here again when traveling through Cedar City.

    « Excellent Motel & Breakfast »

The motel is convenient to Interstate 15, reservation service was excellent, breakfast was especially good (food served hot, good choices and clean eating area), good motel layout with easy access to parking, front desk, stairs, elevator & awesome patio area with garden.

    « Amazing Location »

This is an amazing place. A "must stay" location. New and immaculate but beyond that a pleasure to experience. Usually a hotel is just a bed to sleep in that you hope is clean and safe. This Best Western Plus is so much more. 1) The grounds are immaculate and beautiful, more like a garden than a hotel grounds. The rooms were top notch and the beds and linens exceptional. 2) There is a master gardener along with a gorgeous garden that provided fresh fruits and vegetables and inspired thoughts about our backyard. 3) A BBQ that everyone was welcomed to enjoy where folks could eat and chat. 4) Incredibly helpful and courteous staff I felt somewhat guilty for paying such a low price for such an experience. Definitely 5 stars. I hope other BW Plus are as wonderful as this one.

This hotel really sets a high standard in terms of quality. Our stay was one night. Situated perfectly for those exploring the national parks including Grand Canyon. Our room was immaculate. Fridge, microwave, TV & coffee maker & really good WiFi were standard. A comprehensive free breakfast was included, which was high quality. All staff were very welcoming Inxeed . Particular mention must be made to Chanel, Fabiola & Angeles who worked hard to ensure our stay was exellent. Choose this hotel with confidence.

    « Pre Retreat Retreat »

Excellent. From the moment I came to Best Western Plus to the moment I left for my retreat, I was treated with kindness, respect, courtesy and support. Thank you to everyone who helped make my time there most memorable. Aaron made hamburgers, brats, & pizza; made everyone welcome & engaging at the patio and made a van tour to Parowan most informative. Tucker & friends delightfully showed us the beauty of Cedar City on a bicycle tour.

    « Comfortable Bed »

Stopped here on our way home from Yellowstone and were so glad to get a good night's sleep on their comfortable bed. We arrived too late for barbecue but were able to enjoy the complimentary breakfast in the morning. Eggs, toast, cereal, sweet rolls, fresh fruit, waffles, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage patties.....pretty much everything you'd want for breakfast was offered. The pico de gallo was especially impressive with big chunks of fresh avocado mixed in. The location is good, walking distance from several good restaurants and shops.

« They go the extra mile to make you happy »

Loved the stay in this hotel. They go beyond expectations with extras such as bonfires every night with dinner and s'mores with multiple kinds of chocolates, grahams and marshmallows (who knew there were caramel marshmallows?) Breakfast is hot and good. This is a great location from which to see the area sites and parks.

    « We Wouldn't Stay Anywhere Else »

We love the atmosphere of the Best Western Plus Hotels. They are always clean, well kept, maids are great. Also, the food wais better than most Hotels that have breakfast. We also had a great barbecue with Aaron out back with a beautiful fire pit. We needed a baggage cart and couldn't see one, so I called down to the front desk and asked if they had them. Jacob, the desk clerk told me where they could be found and offered to bring one to our room and asked if we would like him to help us bring in our luggage. We didn't need help, but it was so nice for him to offer. We had a great time'

« It was nice but not great »

The room was nice. Free breakfast was nice. Location was nice. The Best Western Plus was nice but had the potential to be great but they seem happy to be just nice. Example: Breakfast was nice. The food was good. They had a couple of people monitoring the food but no one cared if there were clean tables. The room could have been great. It had an additional room with desk but not much thought about decorating the room. We did tell the front desk about noise in the morning. They used the noisy guest excuse but it was very early morning and was staff getting ready for the day. More attention to detail and a little extra effort could go a long way.

« Great hotel with amazing and attentive staff »

Stayed here one night coming from Bryce Canyon and Cedar Breaks National Momument and heading towards Las Vegas the next day! From the moment we checked in, which was two hours early, Steven actually walked over to the room to check if the room was clean and available. What was a suprise was the wonderful complimentary BBQ that night. We had chicken, brats, cheeseburgers and pizza. To top it off, ingredients to make s'mores were provided with gourmet chocolates, marshmallows and Carmel marshmallows as well as assorted flavors of graham crackers. Also, a garden growing vegetables was available to us for grilling. It's amazing how Brian does the BBQ every night. Another gentleman showed me what kind of vegetables grew. Breakfast was fantastic.

« If you want a fun place to stay in Cedar City, this is it! »

We stayed three nights at this hotel and we found it to be one of the nicest experiences we have ever had. The staff was great. The room was clean and comfortable. What really tickled us was the evening activity hosted by the hotel. This hotel does something I have never seen before. They have their own garden plot and use it to serve fresh vegetables and fruit to their guests in the evenings along with grilled brats and pizza followed up with S'mores! We were on a tight budget so it was great to basically have supper as well as breakfast provided by the hotel. If you want a fun place to stay in Cedar City, this is it!

    4
    « Enjoyable hotel »

We enjoyed the offered activities (bbq, pool, garden). Room was comfortable and appeared to be newly appointed. We have stayed at the BW across the street and didn't find it to be as good. The breakfast was ample and varied. Elsy and Arlene did great preparation and kept it well stocked.

    « Great hotel!! »

We stayed here for four nights while visiting the National Parks in the area. What a great hotel! They not only had free breakfast but also a free BBQ and S'mores every night! It was so fun socializing with all the other guests and Aaron at the BBQ. Both guests and Aaron (who did the BBQing) gave suggestions of other things we could see in the area and were so spot on. We loved Lake Panquitch, the Parowan Gap and Kolob canyon which were all things we heard about around the fire pit. Couldn't have been happier with our experience at this hotel and very much recommend it.

    « Great customer focus from a family-owned business »

We only stayed one night but this would definitely be a place we would return if we are in the area again. The property has been recently remodeled and is like new; the beds and room were really nice. The family has owned the property for three generations. There is a fire pit and garden in the back as well as a giant chess board, pool, and horseshoe pit. They offered a free barbecue dinner and s'mores and the "chef" was a great resource for local site seeing options.

We had planned for two nights but our travels got us there a day early, so we called from I-15 and they got us squared away. Very spacious suite, comfortable bed, good wifi. Our only issue was some plumbing noise, we think it came from upstairs, but it wasn't to bad. The breakfast was very good with fresh made salsa, actually one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had. Front desk staff were very friendly and efficient.

« Amazing And Over The Top »

This is "no ordinary" Best Western and the word Plus should be followed by several extra "pluses". The owners and employees have bonded together to make your stay an extremely memorable one from the free backyard BBQ to the free fruits & vegetable gardens they invite you to pick from. They have nightly movies in the garden patio topped off with s'mores. I want to make a special mention of our hosts Erin, Tucker & Arland who could not do enough to make us feel like we were enjoying an evening with great friends.

« Glamping RV Oasis near Zion NP »

Found this hidden gem on my Good Sam app. I called and was greeted professionally by a young man who said he had plenty of spots for our 36' Motor Coach, he took my name and said come on in and take my pick. Well, I told my husband it might be a wild goose chase but we had a spot in Cedar City. The KOA was booked solid due to a customer appreciation event so I was happy to have a spot. The app also listed a website and weirdly it was the Best Western Plus Hotel chain. That, too, made me nervous. But we kept moving toward Cedar City from Salt Lake City. When we arrived we were anxious because we ended up at the front door of the Cedar City Best Western Plus. The registration staff greeted us well and had our name listed and repeated the directions I had received earlier - go around to the back, pick my spot and come to the office with my number. We did and found a beautiful oasis just behind a beautiful hotel. As a guest we received almost all the benefits of being in the actual hotel. Access to the pool, Internet, breakfast, nightly cookouts by the fire pit, and even s'mores. What a special treat to be able to chat with folks from far and near. Thoroughly enjoyable. We will be back and will tell all our RV buddies about this special place.

Everything met my expectations - I will very likely stay again when traveling through this area. Breakfast was pretty good, bed was comfortable and coffee isn't/wasn't bad. I was pulling an open trailer and found plenty of availbe parking; this was very helpful. There was a social hour with food when I arrived; I kinda wish I hadn't have eaten already.

    « Lovely Room »

We had a lovely & quiet ADA Room/ suite with a balcony and double queens. Well lit Bath which had a huge ADA shower with hand held & stationary shower heads that accommodates wheelchairs. Very spacious, welcoming & clean. We had a small refrigerator & freezer & microwave for our use.... Even had mints & a cute little welcoming surprise. Highly recommend this Best Western..will stay here again. I felt the price was affordable especially with the amenities. ;)

« Good hotel with a fabulous garden and other perks »

Nice hotel that has a huge garden for guests to pick veggies and herbs! I make green smoothies every day, even on the road, and I was able to pick fresh mint and basil each morning! There is a large gas fire pit next to the garden which is lovely... And you get to make s'mores each night!!! The rooms are spacious, clean, and beds are comfy. One reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of the bed height. This normally would not be an issue, but I was traveling with my grandmother and she had a real problem getting in the bed. We stayed here 3 nights so it became really exhausting for her. Dining area is spacious and exercise room was very nice - a small gym, not just a room with a treadmill and weight machine. The other reason I did not give 5 stars is because all the exterior doors to the main building do not lock. Anyone can walk in since they do not require a key to enter. I found this to be a little unsettling. Overall, our stay was great. All the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. We went to Zion twice and the drive wasn't bad. Also drove to Bryce the day we checked out and it wasn't too far either, so this is a well positioned location.

« Another great stay in Cedar City at Best Western. »

Such a wonderful place to stay. Rooms are very clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful. We would not stay at any other motel in Cedar City. In the evenings there was a free barbecue, s'mores at the fire pit etc.

    « A great find »

This hotel was a great find and a surprise. If we are ever in Cedar City again, we would definitely stay at this hotel and we feel very comfortable recommending it. Very large and well maintained property, many amenities, clean, large rooms, centrally located.

« Made us feel right at home »

Recently while traveling out west, we stayed in motels every night for 3 weeks. The Cedar City Best Western Plus stood out among all the rest because of the front desk staff. They made sure we felt very welcome, answered every tourist question we had about the area, seemed genuinely interested in our travel plans, and even helped us make reservations for the Utah Shakespeare Theater. In addition, there is the most amazing vegetable garden behind the hotel - quite unexpected. They encouraged us to pick whatever vegetables we wanted and even provided a grill to cook them on if we didn't want to go out for dinner.

« Great place to catch your breath »

Due to a booking that didn't work out we booked into this hotel for two nights to break up our long trip. As soon as we got to our room we relaxed. Time to unpack! Lovely lay out of rooms in and outside. Small but very adequate breakfast and great involvement by management in planning next bit of trip. Thanks guys.

« Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers »

I don't normally stay at Best Westerns. Because they are independently owned and managed, they can be hit or miss. This one is a hit. Judging from its central location in town, it's probably an older building, but is solidly built and looks to be recently renovated. The rooms are very clean, the bed quite comfortable and the grounds are well maintained and attractive. There are a few remnants from days gone by, like low, round-bowl toilets and what appear to be the original bathtubs. But, the rest of the room and bath have new paint, tile, carpet, etc. All in all, very acceptable. I didn't see any mold, stray hairs, bugs or any of the typical hotel yuck-inducers. There was only one small thing overlooked during the renovation that would make this hotel even better. Bumpers. Yep, bumpers. Every door has rubber bumpers in the frame that deadens the sound of the doors closing. Because of the age of this hotel, those little bumpers have become hard and disintegrated. So, there is some door noise. That's the only thing that detracted from my stay. I would like to suggest to the management that they trot on over to Home Depot, their favorite hotel supply company, or an internet hardware supplier and buy a giant bag of those suckers. Give the maintenance guy or girl the bag and have them pop those petrified bumpers out of the door jams and replace them with the new ones. That would pretty much put an end to the noise problem and make the hotel even better. Cheap and quick. Now, on to other things? Breakfast was pretty good, although there was a shortage of hash browns one morning. The evening barbecue and fire pit was unique and delightful. I've never seen anything quite like it. The fellow tending the grill was very accommodating, practically begging me to eat the free food. So, I did! Very, very nice. Now go get those bumpers!

Very nice place to stay.We enjoyed the outside fire pit that evening & the grill with the brats & pizza. Everyone was very friendly. Great location. Will come back again to stay there & go to Zion National Park.

« Very nice hotel I would visit again »

Nice room it was clean and spacious much nicer than I thought it would be, bed was comfy, the toilet paper holder kept falling off the wall, but no complaints. Breakfast wasn't the best I have had but ok. I would stay again if I am in the Cedar City area.

« Nice Hotel near Shakespeare Festival »

I stayed at this hotel while going to the Shakespeare Festival to see a play. It is centrally located in downtown Cedar City. I got a good night's sleep and my room was very quiet. The free breakfast was very good, too.

    « FANTASTIC!! »

I cannot say enough good about this place, We made a reservation for 1 night due to the location and the price, we will stay here again because of the EXCELLENT SERVICE. The guys at the desk were very friendly and made sure all of our questions were answered and then proceeded to tell us about all the amenities they offer. Free BBQ from 6:30-10:30, smores at 8:30, guided hikes and bike tours, bike rentals (not sure of the cost), free breakfast, garden tours, life-size chess, swimming and a very nice workout room. We could not eat breakfast since we had a half marathon and we had to be there before it started so they offered us a to-go bag. The guy doing the BBQ and smores was also very friendly and told several people that he would be there until everyone was done. All the other Cedar hotels better step up their game!

    « Fantastic Room! »

Our only mistake was not getting up for breakfast. We had a wonderfully appointed room, king-size bed, nicely updated, great bathroom, and were exhausted from getting in late, so I can't review the breakfast. But the room was fantastic. They have charging stations for electric cars; they check out bikes and helmets (there's a bike trail nearby), and they have movies in the back during the summer. The next time we are in Cedar City for a few days -- this is the place we will stay!

    5
« Outstanding Property and People »

We had a fantastic stay and enjoyed the property, the people (and the great pick your own vegetable garden and barbeque). The room was very clean, well appointed and the staff was very friendly and competent. The breakfast was outstanding with a good selection, well prepared and attentive staff.

Fantastic. Highly recommend staying here. Bbq and smores in the evening. Wonderful breakfast in the morning and very friendly staff. Will stay here again. liked that bikes are offered to tour the local area. Walking distance to the Shakspeare theaters.

    « Wonderful stay! »

If you in Cedar City or near by, you have to stay here. Rooms are great the beds are so comfortable. Breakfast is exceptional, and the best comes at night with a very nice outside fire pit and a wonderful meal (included) with a finishing touch of Smores. They have a nice garden, you pick the veggies and they cook them for you, nothing better the farm to table in 2 mins. I think you would hard pressed to find a better value for your dollar, in the area. The staff, was wonderful and very helpful.

« Great place to overnight in Cedar City, UT »

We had a great late-arrival check-in experience. The room was very comfortable -- especially the bed (10 out of 10). The whole complex was inviting and a pleasure to stay out after being on the road for almost 8 hours. The free breakfast spread had lots of varieties and the dining area spacious. They had a no-cost BBQ going on during our arrival. It's a few blocks off the I-15, but well-worth making the trip.

« We could stay only 1 night but it was an experience that was fantastic. »

The room was very clean, and, very roomy. The outstanding part was the fire pit and the food served there every evening. The night we were there, besides brats and hamburgers, we had the option of making s'mores over the fire. Apparently, there is a different fare prepared on the grill every night. The seating was comfy, staff so very inviting and friendly. As a gardener, I appreciate many gardens. The raised beds were so attractive and we were urged to pick anything that was ripe. The gentleman, whose name I do not remember offered to serve us fruit at breakfast in the morning, if we found a melon etc. it was the first time we have encountered anything like this. So friendly, just a great idea. I wish this hotel was closer to us! If only there were more BW's that offered this treatment.

« Gem of the West »

I have been traveling throughout the US and Utah is now one of my favorite spots. To my delight I happened upon the Best Western Plus in Cedar City. A stop which was not planned. When I searched the area for Best Western there were two. I picked the one that was newly renovated. I knew this because I am a property manager and builder. Entering the lobby it was perfect and in order..beautiful fireplace and sitting area. I proceeded to the front desk where I was pleasantly greeted by Blake and Josh the staff. They proceeded to give me a description of the area and all the hotel had to offer. They also told me about a barbecue that was being held that evening and every evening at the hotel. This was at no cost and they also said that there was a garden that I could pick anything from to have Chelly and Tucker grill up for me. Well, the garden was not just a garden, it was a small farm with a corn field and any vegetable, spice or fruit that you could think of, in this garden...tomatoes, watermelon, squash, peppers, etc. It was a jubilee. Shelly and Tucker grilled for hours and then even gave us the ingredients to make s'mores, all at no cost! The grounds where magnificent! As far as the room, well I was on the second floor. The workmanship that was done on the renovation was impeccable and my view of the mountains were stunning. The room was large and comfortable and extremely clean. The layout of the exterior pool area, grilling area, walk ways and farm were laid out well. The sitting area of the barbecue was done with red stone tabletops which where actually quarried from the area. The canopy arbor added a beautiful touch. I met several staff members being Blake, Josh, Chelly, Tucker, Dan and Steve which were all beyond pleasant and contributed to my perfect stay. I now will revisit and make my stay longer. PS I usually don't post however this true GEM had to be recognized. I thank the staff and Best Western for a wonderful stay. I will definitely be back.

« Wonderful Stay for Shakespeare Festival! »

My husband & I stayed here to catch a couple of shows for the Festival. We were impressed with the warmth of the staff & cleanliness of the areas, as well as the amenities. There is a pool spa and fire pit area, where there is a large above ground vegetable garden. Some nights there is an attended barbecue & s'mores, think concierge, free! He was very helpful & informative about the area & things to do. I don't know about the rooms, as we stayed in the camping area in our motorhome. There is breakfast & also a gym area.

    « SHAKESPEARE TRIP 2016 »

Loved the new Best Western Plus. All the upgrades were awesome. Loved Tucker and his team with the barbecue, fire pit and post play S'mores! Pool and the fitness room were great. Loved the new pool furniture and umbrellas for shade. All the front desk staff were great and always willing to help. Beds were great as well, even the AC was quieter. We've been staying in Cedar City for over 35 years. The new BW Plus is definitely the best lodging in town. See you the next time we're in town.

« A bit of serenity and luxury in Cedar City. »

Spent one night in this hotel but we arrived early before 5pm so we got time to experience its pleasures. We were warmly welcomed by our male receptionists. Our room was huge!..in fact we had an additional sitting room off the bedroom which we didn't use but it was handy for storing luggage. We were on the 2nd floor of this motel style building and on request we were provided with two deckchairs for use on the veranda. The veranda later proved to be a good viewing point for the night's thunderstorm that night. The pool is to the rear of the hotel and we spent a pleasant while relaxing in the very comfortable loungers. Alongside the pool is a lovely garden with a great variety of fruit and vegetables growing there. The gardener was on hand at 6.30 to talk about all his products. Even more surprising was the presence of a chef who proceeded to cook burgers and sausages etc on the bbq from 6.30 to 11.00pm! The subsequent thunderstorm didn't stop his cooking and the free food was really good. Breakfast was in a large room to the front of the hotel which had good views. The food was good and there was a good variety of hot and cold items on offer. Overall this hotel rated as one of our best over the course of our 3 week trip to the U.S. this year.

    « Awesome Hotel »

This hotel was really a nice surprise. I was not expecting much in such a small town, but the staff was excellent and the property itself well maintained and comfortable. The hotel actually gave a feeling of being on vacation or at a resort - more than just being at another overnight stop. The landscaping was amazing and they even have producing vegetable gardens on the property! Free evening barbecue for guests! Highly recommend it!

This is an excellent hotel in every way. Peaceful, great views, well located in a very nice town and for the local attractions such as Zion and Bryce. They have some very nice add-ons also such as the garden, a BBQ in the evening and so on...but the winner is the staff who couldn't be any ore helpful and pleasant. If I was the owner I'd be proud!

« Outstanding Place to Stay »

We had business in Cedar City and decided to stay over rather than drive back to Salt Lake City. We checked into the Best Western Plus because they had a large outdoor pool. It was 3:30 and they had a room available on the main floor which was great. We had the pool to ourselves as well as the hot tub, and there are umbrellas to sit under. Much to our surprise, they offered us hamburgers and hotdogs on the grill outside, as well as invited us to watch the amphitheater movie. We slept great--the beds are awesome. The next morning we headed down for breakfast, which also had many choices of food. As we were leaving we noticed bicycles, which are not available for rent--they are available to check out--for free. Next time we have business there we will stay again, and spend some time on the bikes.

    « Great place »

Cedar City,s Best Western had a restaurant on the premises. The hotel was clean and decorated very nice. The breakfast was made by several ladies in town. The food was very good with all their little extras. We could see the hotel was full. Many workers of all kind were there. We were greeted with a small and felt special. We would gladly stay there again.

« Surprise, surprise. One of the best RV parks we've been to! »

The RV park is directly behind the Best Western Plus hotel on 200 N, a couple of miles from the freeway. What a surprise. It is wonderful. One has to check in at the hotel desk for the RV park, and the hotel offers all the amenities that the hotel has: pool, free breakfast; wi-fi, etc. They have the most beautiful vegetable garden in between the RV park and the hotel, with a fire pit that they light every night. They also have an inflatable tent (huge) in which they show a movie every night. Great place to stop!

« Outstanding Lodging Experience in Cedar City »

The hotel, hot tub, and pool were great, but the garden, Fire Pit and related outdoor BBQ and S'mores in the evening put this place way ahead of the competition! Not to mention the outstanding Aaron coordinating the guest experience with the goal of a terrific time and the skills to effortlessly pull it off. They even have bike rentals and a little movie showing. Really great experience!

Stayed here back in June 2016. The grounds are very nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and quite helpful. « Don't miss out on this awesome stay! »

We weren't planning to stay here but needed an extra night before heading back home from visiting Zion. We had a long drive ahead of us and no hotels were available in Springdale or St George (which was so fortunate for us)! We happened upon this particular hotel/motel by checking out options on the Best Western website and I'm so glad we did! This place is newly renovated. It's off the Main Street and has a very attractive exterior. You can tell that someone put a lot of thought into making this place something special and memorable for the guests. The rooms are clean, large and comfortable. The a/c works well (not noisy). Water pressure in the shower is great. They have good wifi. Here's one of the best parts....their customer service. It was raining (complete with thunder and lightening)....but two friendly guys were out in the courtyard manning a BBQ and fire pit. They grilled hamburgers and sausages and had a variety of options for s'mores (gummy bears, kitkats, ghiradelli chocolate squares, caramel marshmallows, etc.). This just showed how much they care about keeping their guests happy. Their breakfast was outstanding! Make your own breakfast sandwhich, breakfast burritos, hash browns, donuts, fruit, granola, yogurt, cereal, etc. The best breakfast of our trip. They also have a cool chess board area (life sized pieces) and a beautiful vegetable garden. Their check in staff was very kind and deserves kudos (Jacob was very helpful....I spoke with him prior to arriving at the hotel and he went out of his way to help with a scheduling issue). I can't recommend this place highly enough!

    « Unexpected and lovely! »

I booked this hotel for a short stay expecting just a normal hotel stay. It was much more. Besides being very clean (I am a very picky hotel guest when it comes to cleanliness), the staff were wonderful and the breakfast yummy! One morning, homemade breakfast burritos and fresh salsa!

    « Don't plan on breakfast »

Hotel is average. Bed was comfortable but walls are thin. Free breakfast is the weakest free breakfast I've ever seen and I make a point to stay at hotels that have free breakfast. The food choices were minimal and coffee sucked. I stopped at Starbucks on my way out of town for coffee and a breakfast sandwich.

    « Nice Upgrade »

This was our third summer stay at this hotel. We were there in 2015 during the fix up, and not at all disturbed with the construction that was going on. It was fun to return this year and see it all completed and the finished product, making it a Best Western Plus hotel. It is a comfortable hotel, rooms certainly a nice size, beds make sleeping easy, housekeeping does an excellent job keeping rooms clean and pleasant. Staff has always been very pleasant and helpful. Be sure to look at the garden, and enjoy the vegetables, if there when things are blooming; yes guests are allowed to pick the veggies and enjoy. (Just be respectful when picking, so others may also enjoy them). It may be 90s during the day in the summer, but temps drop to 50s when sun goes down, and the fire pit was quite pleasant after dinner. Pool was relaxing and if you play chess, check out the life-sized chessboard - a lot of fun. If there on the weekend you can enjoy the food made on the BBQ, s'mores, and an outdoor movie. Also has a well equipped exercise room. Well worth the money, and highly recommend a stay.

Have stayed in several hotels during a one month road trip. This is the best. Clean, very friendly staff, perfct location for several parks, hiking, and scenery. I wish we had stayed longer. « best bet in this town »

This renovated motel is probably the best place to stay in Cedar City. My room was quiet and clean, with a comfortable bed. I have stayed at four other places in Cedar City in past years, including this motel in 2010 (before renovation) and the one across the street. None of those would rate more two stars. This Best Western does have its share of design oddities, as if the renovation's architect had previously built Gothic haunted houses. A second floor room has two entrances, with a walkway outside that has no discernible purpose. Very bright lights (Billboard-bright) on this walkway at night make using a sleep mask essential. Curtains in the room were directly above the air conditioner, muffling its impact at night. And the swimming pool is surrounded with scorching hot pavement (rubber mats, manager?). Don't go barefoot there. But the motel does get the basics right, good location too, so I would recommend it.

    « Amazing Hotel!! »

When driving from Las Vegas to Salt Lake City, my car started to have problems near Cedar City. I had to get a room and stumbled upon this gem! First the front desk staff were amazing! They recommended a mobile mechanic and gave me his phone number. It was after 6 so all shops were closed. The best part was an amazing surprise! Every night, except Sunday and Monday, they have a free BBQ, S'mores around the fire pit and an outdoor movie! Aaron is an exceptional host. He showed us how to roast gummy bears and Starburst. My two daughters loved it after swimming! We were so impressed that on our way back to Vegas we decided to stay again. My sister even drove down from SLC to stay one night and enjoy the BBQ. The hotel has only been open since January and is extremely clean and comfortable. Located on Main Street across from a park. I will definitely stay here again for a longer stay or whenever I drive to SLC. Breakfast and WiFi are also free. Almost forgot, they have a garden where you can pick any vegetable you like, and Aaron will grill it for you!

I couldn't more highly recommend this hotel. The staff, breakfast, cleanliness, activities (outdoor movies, vegetable gardens to pick from, life size chess game, outdoor pool, nighttime smores and snacks over the fire pit) were perfect. I have never loved a hotel stay so much. I had 2 kids with me that were completely entertained. I loved this hotel.

« Good hotel with a veggie garden! »

This is a new hotel which was immaculately clean, comfortable rooms. Good breakfast buffet, nice pool, And the vegetable garden was a lovely surprise, ditto the evening "entertainment" learning about s'mores and having interesting conversation with other guests on the patio by the grill, pool and garden. Will definitely be back. And Christine in reception was a delight to deal with. Also, within walking distance of Shakespeare Festival theaters.

The hotel has great service -especially Elsy and Kristna who took great care for morning breakfast. The hotel also provides BBQ with complimentary food during the week. « Most Unique Hotel »

We loved exploring the grounds, vegetable garden, pool, outdoor movie, and BBQ areas. The atmosphere was that of a vacation resort. Guests were able to meet and visit with one another during the evening activities. Rather than bother with finding a restaurant and something to do, we stayed on site and enjoyed all of the planned events. There was no pressure to do anything, except eat more delicious food at the BBQ!

« Awesome Choice in Cedar City »

Just stayed at this property, and it is in great shape! The grounds are immaculate and very well maintained. The customer service was superb. The room was well appointed and very clean. The outdoor pool is great and kid friendly. The location is on the corner of the most central intersection of Cedar City. Food is very close, and multiple options. Slightly above average, free breakfast. There are several RV hook-ups in the back as well. Specifically, if you get Kristine at the front desk, you have scored! She treated us very well and is very professional. I really enjoyed my stay and will be back!

I stayed here for a night from bryce. The staff were amazing especially Joshua and Jacob. It was so nice to have the suprise bbq and to be able to pick vegetables from the garden. The room was also spotless clean. The only downside was the breakfast! !!! I stayed in four different locations and so far that was the worst of them all. It looked and tasted like it was straight from the box.

Loved the friendliness of all the staff. Awesome free BBQ and s'mores in the evening. Giant garden by pool that folks are encouraged to pick from. Clean. Great continental breakfast every morning. Definitely recommend.

Excellent stay! The staff was lovely! From the phone reservation, to check in (great dinner recommendation) breakfast greeter, front desk staff, and check our. Room was great, and the grounds (great garden) were beautiful. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a very comfortable, worry-free getaway.

    « Amazing »

Very nice stay. Courteous staff. The courtyard is amazing. I loved the vegetable garden. And the s'mores made at the firpit were an excellent way to finish the evening. It is a beautiful building and all rooms have been completely remodeled. The complementary breakfast was very good.

    « Great July 4th Weekend »

My wife and I went to Cedar City Best Western Plus for a two day get away from the Las Vegas heat over 4th of July weekend. Great Place. Newly remodeled, roomy and comfortable. The front desk personal were professional, friendly, and informative. Other hotel personnel were also very friendly and polite. The grounds included a nice pool area, a garden where you could pick your own vegetables, a huge fire pit, an evening BBQ for guests, a horseshoe pit. We've probably stayed at 15 to 20 different BW's over the years and I would rate this one best overall. This is a place we will definitely return to on our next trip to Cedar City.

    « RV park »

While the location is ideal, I will rethink staying at your RV park the next time I visit Cedar City as the cost is quite expensive considering there are no showers and no cable at the park. We were told last year that the cable had been cut by the construction and would be fixed but it wasn't. In addition, the breakfast buffet was also included last year and now they are charging us for it.

    « Wow, what a surprise! »

Less busy due to it's mid-town location and recently remodeled with outstanding service. Supper nice rooms with all the comfort features. USB chargers, good A/C, all new interior and high end mattress and bedding.

« Great place to stay with family »

We stayed at this hotel because it was a great location for coming back after hiking around Bryce and other parks in the area. The rooms were clean, the staff was pleasant, the breakfast was good but the pool, fire pit and giant chess set are what set it apart! It was great to relax in the hot tub after hiking all day, watch the kids play in the pool or play chess and then sit by the fire to dry off. Would definitely stay here again if travelling in the area.

    « Great stay! »

We spent one night here with our 16 year old grandson. The easy access to the pool, the firepit and the breakfast area was wonderful. The room was perfect but it was the outdoor space that really impressed us. The garden area is amazing! Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

    « Best ever »

I have stayed in a lot of places, and this is hands down the best place Ive ever stayed. It was like staying in a community instead of a hotel. The garden idea is amazing, our kids loved the chess game.

« Wonderful RV Stop for Family with Kids!!! »

We only stayed 1 night in the RV section right behind the motel, but wished we could of stayed longer. The staff was great, from everyone I encountered at the front desk to the awesome backyard BBQ chef and the master gardener! Roasting dogs, brauts, marshmallows and a few other special treats. Kids had a blast. Loved the outdoor garden and the ability to pick some fresh spinach before getting back on the road was great! The little set up behind the motel is awesome, has beautiful garden, fireplace for cooking smores and such, and a large chess board game. Pool jacuzzi are nice and clean. The sites are flat with full hookups. Great locations for walking to the store or nearby restaurants, thought you won't need to with everything right on property.

« Highly recommend this hotel »

Very clean, pleasant environment with lovely staff that care about your stay and will assist in any way needed. Also, in a perfect location for all the scenic parks in the area--Zion, Brice, Arches, Kolob, etc. But the pool area with the outdoor fire pit and planter boxes (and RV parking area) are all very nice and quite unexpected. Very enjoyable and comfortable hotel. We will defintiely return.

We had a drive vacation, hitting different hotels as we made our way through Utah - this was an excellent hotel. the staff were warm and friendly, made sure we had a great room. Offered suggestions on where I could get a gluten free lunch. I would recommend staying here if you are in Cedar City

« Super nice, super clean, great price. »

I stayed here one night as I came into southern Utah for an event a little bit further south. The staff was very helpful and even showed me to my room seeing that I was totally exhausted and it was super late. I joined the BW rewards program and, on my way back out of town stayed here again. My room was spacious, clean, and quiet.

« Great place to stay »

This hotel is a great place to stay in Cedar City. The location is great, has all the amenities, and rooms are spacious and clean. The staff here is extremely helpful and friendly. I needed to check out at 5 am and they handled it all the night before.

    « Awesome RV Stay »

We stayed 2 nights in the RV spots and wished we could of stayed a couple of more. Inlaws stayed in a motel room while we stayed in the rv spot it worked out great. Rooms were simple and very clean. Their staff was great, including the backyard chef and the master gardener! Kids had a blast. The little set up behind the motel is awesome, has beautiful garden, fireplace for cooking smores and such, horseshoe pit, large chess board game. Pool is nice and clean. We had two trailers parked facing each other that worked out great with full hookups, it was very clean around the surrounding rv area..... can't wait to go back!

    « Back Again »

We discovered the BWP in March and returned on our way to Bryce Canyon last week. We loved the Manager's Reception. While we did not participate in the BBQ, as we had returned to the Depot Grill for dinner, steps from our room, we did enjoy the S'Mores and visiting with several of the other BVP guests who were also enjoying the fire pit. The fire pit area and produce gardens were installed since our last visit and are great additions. Our only regret is that the TV reception does not include HD Channels for the major networks.

    « Minor hotel issues »

This is a nice newer, (remodeled) hotel. Everything was new, fresh, & clean. I only have three minor issues that bothered me. 1. I forgot to pack my wine bottle opener and went to front desk to borrow one. They could not locate one, not even in the restaurant. I wasn't gong to take it, I brought the wine downstairs with me so I could open it quickly and hand the opener back. 2. No city information for out of town visitors whatsoever. Not in lobby nor in our rooms. i.e. things to do, maps, fliers advertising all that there is to do around town. 3. No "do not disturb" door signs in the rooms. other than these minor issues, all was great.

« Really nice, especially the outdoors »

The motel is located right in the center of Cedar City, near the grocery and a wide range of restaurant choices (except on Sunday!). Shares a parking lot with far and away the best restaurant in town, the Depot Grill. Our room was nice, extremely large. Could have fit several more pieces of furniture but the elbow room was great. Comfortable bed, big tv, good wifi, nice towels and bedding. Recently refurbished. The landscaping is the star. Kudos to the gardener. Nice brick paths, plenty of flowers and interesting plants, a fire pit and shade structure near the pool. They play movies outdoors a few times a week. This is an awesome place to watch night fall on the mountains after a hard day playing in the nearby parks, or attending a play during the festival.

    « Outstanding Remodel »

We stayed here four years ago and it was a fine establishment. This trip we decided to stay there again after sorting out some confusing info on the BW web-site. It went from being fine to being outstanding. My only negative comment has nothing to do with this establishment but with Best Westerns decision to change their signage. Why they would mess with the most recognized signs in the travel accommodation business is beyond me. That aside I will recommend this facility to anyone I know traveling in the area.

    « Comfortable Stay »

We stayed here for three days in May in order to tour National Parks in the area. A great location with an surprisingly good restaurant (Depot Grill) next door. The staff was helpful and cheerful. The room was large with doors to the outside and inside the hotel. When I saw the pool outside my room I figured we would have a noisy night, but, as it turns out, the pool was not ready yet. There was also a fire pit and some construction going on but we were not disturbed by any of it. In fact, it was a restful, quiet three days with attentive staff and good breakfast choices (as far as hotel free breakfasts go). Good value and location especially for families. There is also a RV park area next to the parking lot that looks well cared for. We had a ground floor room but I would imagine the second floor rooms have great views of the nearby mountain.

« Renovations are very nice »

This hotel has been here some time but is just going thru a rehab. Its at a major intersection for this town, so there could be some traffic. Not for us on a Sunday. Nice balcony facing street, (interior & exterior doors to our room) but not patio chairs provided. Room was good size, two chairs which is nice when you have two people in room. Nice bathroom, nice towels, lighted make-up mirror. Friendly staff & check-in was fast, although neither pm or am staff could answer our local area questions. We're Starbucks people so went there for coffee, so didn't sample breakfast. Don't confuse this BW with the Town & Country BW across the street. This is a LDS town so alcohol isn't always available esp. on Sunday. If you're there when the Depot restaurant is open, definitely go there! We're sorry they were closed this time around. Would definitely stay here again. Pool is outside but wasn't open yet.

« Great New BW Plus Property »

This hotel has great rooms having just opened in January. This property was previously an overflow for the BW across the street, but upgraded and became a separate hotel. A wonderful hot breakfast with eggs, sausage and biscuits & gravy. There were donuts, cereals, yogurt and fruit. The beds were comfortable (we stayed twice while traveling) and had very large screen TVs. The staff was very friendly and responsive to our needs. I would recommend this hotel.

« Quiet and Great Location »

Being able to go into a room, close the door, and relax is a huge deal to me. The room I stayed in had a king bed a big tv. The bed was great and so was the TV. I was able to watch about anything I wanted. I also loved the towel animal that the staff left for me it was a friendly touch and made me fee welcome during my stay.

« Definitely NOT for kids. »

Unless you want a newly remodeled place with very friendly staff, AND right across the street from a large park with a great playground. The public library is next to the park and there are lots of little stores and restaurants within walking distance.

    « Recently purchased hotel »

There are two BW across from each other. We saw the signage for BW Plus first. Newly renovated. Great curb appeal. Rooms are very nice. Breakfast bar could definitely be upgraded. Friendly staff , however there is a need to be trained on points of interest in the area.

« Best Western Plus - Cedar City Utah »

Until this trip we had always stayed at Best Western across the street. It was OK, however the newer Best Western Plus was a very pleasant experience. The facility is nicely appointed and the staff exceptionally helpful. Occupancy was not high because it had just opened and none the less the breakfast was delightful. Exercise room and equipment was very good as well. I would like to recommend this one to anyone considering staying in Cedar City.

    « Utahpian stay »

After a long day touring Bryce Canyon and Zion, it was great to be received efficiently and politely by a young missionary in the lobby here. The service was great, the sleep excellent, and the breakfast very good, by US standards. Will stay again!

« Great value great people »

This s clean nice hotel but the staff made it great starting with check in at 9:30 PM and right through breakfast and check-out the staff were so polite and attentive to our needs. The breakfast was great with good variety and the dining area was clean and well kept. I will stay here when future travel needs take me to Cedar.

    « Nice stay! »

King bed room, main floor, separate building. Clean room, Comfy bed, strong wifi, lots hot water. Bathroom floor/walls freezing cold (it was cold outside). Breakfast pancakes, eggs, potatoes were cold, wondering if the heating elements were working properly.

« From the GM to the Grounds »

This hotel appears to have been recently purchased. The grounds and landscaping are immaculate from stone walkways to copper whirlygigs strategically placed around the property. After checking in, we were met by Jared, the GM, who came pushing a bellhop cart across the parking lot to our truck because he said it looked like we quite a load. Rooms were immaculate and we loved having the back door out onto the patio. Conveniently located and definitely our return spot when we head to Cedar City.
