The hotel was good location near the city center , near hotel you can food at the restaurant so delicious room was cleanliness and hygiene staff is hopefully the hotel have swimming pool but don't have fitness Center
En route I was politely and efficiently called and informed that the hotel had a transformer blow up and Booking.com would transfer me to to a BURITEL which was not acceptable to me. The Royal booked me eventually at the CROSS VIBE hotel - bit isolated but of very good standards, friendly staff and THE best Breakfast Buffet encountered during my 10 days trip thru Isan.
I have stayed at the Best Western on several occasions, my last visit was in 2019, I have always seen it as a quality 3* hotel but sadly on my visit during the Christmas period I now see it as average 2* accommodation. Except for the pool most of the standards expected of a worldwide chain hotel have nose dived and sadly the Best Western reputation is being soiled. Within an hour of check in I had to have my room changed for the following:- 1. TV with very few channels all unwatchable and the set so old with no HDMI for gaming or streaming. In short no TV to watch. 2. Bed linen not fresh and with holes. The second room on the other side was just the same, again linen had to be replaced but this time stained but no holes. One one day housekeeping left the room with no towels, I had to ask at 8pm for them and when delivered they were worn out with holes. Finally the breakfast buffet which previously was very good is now barely recognisable, variety has been cut by 50% to the extent there is only one hot choice daily of which every other day is just vegetables. The varied cake, pastry, bread and fruit options are sparce and the new coffee machine has very small cups which are machine filled to halfway!! Laughable!! I was so saddened by the obvious cost cutting measures that are taking the hotel down, the manager should really get a grip on his hotel before customers are lost to the extensive competition in the vicinity. With a minimum cost per night of B1300 plus B200 pp for breakfast currently this hotel is overpriced with poor customer service, at the moment I would steer clear of the Best Western Hotel, Buriram.
This hotel has a lot going for it, good room, fast wifi, plenty of hot water, room overlooks the pool, good breakfast, friendly staff. All you could want, really. However, what lets it down is the location right on the west side of the town centre so finding restaurants etc at night is either a long (30 mins) walk or hope for a taxi. Grab seems to be the only option. No tuk tuks or buses seen.
I booked this hotel on the day of my arrival on the Best Western page at a very good price, coming from another hotel in Buriram that had proved not serious! The room is very spacious and beautiful, as is the bathroom, thorough daily cleaning. Very comfortable bed, free wifi in all areas, swimming pool not very big but very nice
Very happy to find such a quality brand name available for so cheap. Im talking about in the 1000 range per night. Restaurant also great and really well priced. Ate in the hotel restaurant several times over the 3 nights.
I got more than I expected at this location. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and efficient. The wifi was strong and consistent. And the breakfast had more delicious choices than I anticipated. There was an egg station, cereal, yogurt, juice, toast, cakes, croissants, soup, rice congee and several other Asian choices. The only thing i thought a bit strange was the 500 baht key deposit.
Buriram have many hotels in this price range with more facilities and new room. For my opinion, price is to high from what I got. Moreover, staffs at F&B did their job well but with out smile which is the most important thing for service. (Housekeepers and front desk are excellent)
We booked 3 nights with groupon for 3 people. We had a very warm welcome from all of the staff.our rooms were very comfortable and very clean .the evening meals were of a very high standard with a good and varied menu.it was a very successful visit a d we would definitely recommend it.
We have stayed here yearly since it opened but i must say its going down hill a bit. Some staff are great, others either ignore you or treat you like an inconvenience to them and your stopping them from watching their phone. The staff also do not reply to emails or adhear to any requests you make. We alsohad a problem with the booking which was direct with them for 2 adults one child and paid for a bed for our child, only to be told we would have to pay extra again for the extra bed to be put in the room. Seems like they are trying to get more money out of people for no reason. Will be going elsewhere for next year, probably Amari.
Nothing to say: what a place. We went there 2 nights for a our soulmate party and we used the suggestion from Mr.Mario from Sombat Tour. He was perfect. The hotel is in good posiition, well served and great host. All the staff speak a decent English. Great job Mario, great job best Western
I will start my adventure on tripadvisor writing about my stay in this hotel. Rooms are clean, change amenities every day. Hotel located in a perfect location and great GRM: a very affordable western guy that can speal more than 6 languages and that was good for some guests that cannot speak thai or even English. Breakfast is good and always full of different choices. I will back there soon.
First impression - I had included an airport transfer (including my flight info) when I booked through Agoda. Never hearing from them I emailed the hotel including my flight info again, to confirm the pick-up. They emailed me back acknowledging the flight info. Well, when I arrived at the Buriram airport - NO greeting. I literally waited until every single person on the flight had left and the airplane even departed and still no reception. I did try calling the hotels number many times but no answer. A girl working at the airport asked me if I needed help and she tried calling WB using her phone with no answer. I finally gave up and paid for an airport taxi, which was actually 100 baht cheaper the the hotel price. Upon arriving the grumpy lady at the front desk said I did not confirm her confirmation of my confirmation of my original request so no taxi was sent. The only good thing was a fairly descent breakfast for a budget hotel.
This hotel is in a good location. The rooms are clean and a good standard. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a good breakfast buffet. All in all the hotel is good value and we will continue to stay here for our visits to Buriram.
Those who read my reviews know I am a business traveler and on this occasion I needed overnight accommodation for my team of 3 people. Booking were registered and ready, check in was friendly whilst the rooms were big and very comfortable. Had a great nights sleep and then ventured to the balcony to a view over the pool. Hot water, Tea and coffee available in room. Breakfast caters for westerners and International guests. No complaints at all. Thanks to the team at Best Western Royal Hotel, Buriram for a an enjoyable stay.
We have always tried to stay at the Best Western when we go to Buriram. With the exception of the motogp weekend last year where it had been block booked, we have achieved this. Staying here at least once every year for the last four years we have found great consistency and good value. The hotel is well located. The rooms are well appointed, functional and comfortable. The swimming pool is good. The breakfast is excellent. Adequate parking. Friendly staff & service. All you need for a good stay in Buriram.
We stayed here for two nights and we found the room noisey, the air con unit was noisey even on the sleep mode. The surrounding are had many cockerels, ( they started at 03:30) whilst we understand the cockerels are not the hotels fault, there is inadequate soundproofing. The bed was broken and is in need of a change. The pool area is a nice place to relax and the pool was nice and clean. Breakfast was average, most things were cold. I think all in all the room was overpriced for the facilities offered, the hotel is basing its business model on its proximity to the football ground and the grand prix circuit. We will not stay again.
For the price I paid, nothing really to complain about. Property and rooms is clean , location is convenient close to a lot of places . Short walk to shopping center and town. Will definitely stay here again thank you best western !
Clean, comfortable rooms with quality amenities. Breakfast was extensive and tasty and also offered eggs cooked to order. Staff was helpful and responsive. Appreciated the drying rack on the balcony for laundry, and the iron and ironing board provided upon request. Very near Buriram Rahjabat University. Recommended.
We have stayed here many times. The last times we have been very disappointed as the hotel has, in a way, been neglected. Beds not good, rooms looked old, ac noisy and so on. This time we were very surprised, the positive way. The hotel has really been changed. The rooms have been redecorated, the ac's repaired or changed. The beds have been changed and everything is really nice. Even the staff, who have been nice before, behaved even nicer! This is really a new hotel! The restaurant has never been disappointing. I had my Australian beef again and even that was better than before. The prices are really acceptable! We are very satisfied and are looking forward to stay here again!
The best at first. The staff was friendly and helpfull. After reading the mostly positive Reviews, we decided to stay there and booked a Deluxe-Room. On Arrival we were given a room on the third Floor. As the room was smelling quite bad and the bathroom was not cleaned properly (e.g. the toilet still contained Reliefs from the last guests. The staff immediatly knew what we are talking About. We changed to the fourth Floor. This room looked OK on the first sight. At a second view the Linnen had holes and was outworn, same as the towells. The head of the bed looked quite dirty, The flat-screen TV produced only foggy Images and the Internet was extremly slow. Next days request for fixing was friendly answered: Sir we know about the problems, but they are technical and cannot be fixed. To say something positive: The breakfast is still good. This hotel Needs strongly another managment, otherwise it's soon turn down. Certainly no more "Certificate of excellence"
Nice clean room and good sized bathroom with all the facilities I needed. Aircon was very effective and location is convenient. Breakfast included in the room rate was very good. As I said fantastic value for money. Downside is shower water supply a bit variable.
We just spent 12days here. Couldn't have asked for better service.. The staff were very friendly and helpful.. Breakfast was really good also the dinner menu offered a variety of food. We were in a Deluxe Room which was very large, although bathroom was small.. A couple of things they need to address is the old linen that definitely needs replacing.. We had linen on the bed that was torn and had holes in it, towels were very grey. Also when we arrived and when we were leaving we were given no help with our luggage at all, the concierge didn't offer to help at all just watched us.
I made a booking 6 weeks ago for 2 rooms, which was confirmed by the Manager as a guaranteed booking. I have been a regular visitor in excess of 5 years, so they know me. I arrived to book in and was told that my booking had been cancelled, the hotel was fully booked and told to find somewhere else to stay. I demanded to speak to the Manager and they refused. What a awful terrible place. How they can describe themselves as a high quality hotel is beyond me. And when we were leaving, 7 bus loads of tourists arrived. Yes, we dodged a bullet of a truly awful hotel, who care nothing for their regular customers.
Central. Small pool but tv has a few English channels and thr staff were friendly...didn't have breakfast but good for a stopover the bed were fine and ac worked tends to book quickly.get in quick if you're thinking moto gp
We visited the hotel with a crew of 15 people. All was okay, nice rooms, cool area, good breakfast. The only downside was that we got no toilet paper during the whole week in one of the rooms and the hotel only gave us one key despite having two people per room (they even charged us for losing the card, while usually hotels state that but dobt care then) The size of the room is sufficient for business or vacation travels, location-wise it is also pretty much close to all types of stores/restaurants. No significant downside, but neither any positive note to highlight. A regular 4* hotel
Regarding price worthy - Best Hotel in town. Central, good facilities, good parking, good breakfast. I like all ;-) and since I complained about the missing English NEWS and MOVIE Channel in the last years, they have now both, even HBO. Well.
It's a typical, modern, Western-style hotel, clean, well-maintained, with a nice breakfast and small pool. The room rate was even quite reasonable, so a good value too, with a good location. The only reason to stay anywhere else might be that there are a couple of decent budget hotel options in Buriram that cost even less, but for the type of hotel this is the value was good.
This was my second stay at Best Western Royal Buriram, my previous stay was in 2015 when I also reviewed it favourably. I am pleased to say that the high standards and value for money remains the same and I really cannot find anything negative to say about the hotel. Efficient and enthusiastic staff, good size clean rooms, swimming pool with pleasant surroundings, good location with adequate car parking. The highlight for me was the breakfast buffet service, plentiful and many food choices with staff on hand for individual choices ie. eggs. Also quality food in the restaurant all day especially evenings. Definitely would recommend and will stay again.
This is my second time at this hotel and again the staff is friendly and informative. We had two rooms on third floor facing the pool, rooms were very clean and beds comfortable. Since it was close to Christmas hotel had trees and other holiday decorations. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have had. Plenty of free parking and close to shopping center. I give it five stars.
The location is in the centre of Buriram, easy to find and ample parking space. It is a modern pleasant looking hotel, gay colours. Nice design. Practical nice bedrooms. We paid around 1000 bt, say 25 euro including an excellent breakfast. I remember a very nice soup. Unbeatable value for money. There is a small nice looking pool in between the two wings. We also had dinner there and personnaly thanked the chef for his good quality food.
Clean rooms 4* worth, nice pool extra towels and very big choice of breakfast, will be back sure, very quit en safe place, good menu and fast serving, huge de luxe rooms, from 3 night stay 1 free ??????
A great place to stay when visiting I-Mobile stadium and international raceway. Stayed 5 nights and enjoyed full breakfast buffet. Clean modern rooms with excellent wi fi. Pool onsite. Bus station 600 meter walk. If flying in HIGHLY recommend including shuttle to hotel if offered, otherwise 600 baht per person to city centre.
We stayed at this hotel for 9-11 October 2017. We found a good price and it was all above expectations, Good clean rooms, good mattress, decent swimming pool and a surprisingly tasty breakfast with lots of choice. Would be staying here again if I have to visit Buriram
Very good hotel with mostly serviceminded and friendly staff, nice and clean rooms, excellent kitchen, nice pool. Pool area has not too much sun, and internet/wifi is terrible. Own transport to and from airport is very good,
Good breakfast. Good location. Excellent staff. Room very clean. Pool was a little cool but ok once you got in. Tip: Coffee ask for it weak they use way to much coffee (Barista course a maybe good idea)
Very nice stay. Hotel clean and staff good. Convenient location to Buriram but far enough away from noise. Bed very comfortable. Pool clean. Good value for money. Easy to park car.Staff spoke good level of English and helped with children wherever possible. Room cleaned every day to high standard.
This hotel is in the central area of Buriram. The room is new, clean and well equipment. The breakfast is standard. The meeting room is big and good audiovisual. This hotel does not have gym but has a small outdoor swimming pool.
Nice and clean hotel. Scenic pool and dining area. Close to basic shopping centres. Rooms are large and spacious but the beds are not very high quality unless you prefer the mattress to be extra firm. Dining facilities available at hotel and in close proximity.
Very good value for the price. The room looked newly refurbished and along with the bathroom was very clean. The breakfast had a reasonable choice for both Thai and Farang, Unfortunately some very nice looking fried potatoes were stone cold and the fried eggs at the egg station were Thai style over cooked (but we are in Thailand so I guess I shouldn't criticize.) Staff were all pleasant. If I need to stay in Buriram it will be back here.
This is a great hotel. I stayed with family for one night on a journey through Thailand, and we were very impressed. Rooms are very comfortable, staff friendly, and the place has the feel of a decent basic European hotel. Decor and fittings are modern, and everything has something of a classy artistic feel about it. This isn't your usual basic functional hotel, someone has added personality and character here! The food was great - we had dinner beside the pool, and it was good food at a good price. Breakfast was a very comprehensive buffet, with a great range of foods, both Thai and Western. If I need to stay in Buriram again, I'll be heading straight back here!
If you want a quite stay , don't bother, there was noise all night from one of the rooms on our floor and when reported the lady manager was most unhelpful , so we checked our early as she could not change our room , for a quiet friendly hotel don't bother with this one
There is convenient for transportation to other places. The room is clean and all of employees is polite and friendship. Breakfast is excellent. The room is very comfortable and suitable but the pool is a little small.
Lovely hotel on the edge of the city. Rooms veey clean and modern. Excellent value at only 900 baht a night Breakfast amongst the best ever had in any Thai hotel. Choice was great but same as nearly every other hotel in Thailand. Can't cook bacon. More like cremated !!!!! But poached eggs to order were soft and tasty. Can walk into the city (I say City very loosely as absolutely nothing to do) Small but adequate swimming pool and staff helpfull and friendly
Real enjoyed this hotel modern clean rooms view over the pool very friendly staff and a great included breakfast buffet so perfect for me would visit and recommend in fact a friend did recommend it to me so well done
I will do repeat this lovely hotel next time. Very fond of Restaurant atmosphere and service mind of the staff there. Location is also suitable to stay just only open air car parking that should be make it more convenient.
Stayed in the Best Western Royal Buriram from 19/05/17 to 26/05/17. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel is situated just back from the main road but is not disturbed by the traffic. It is also close to shops and night markets, which are an experience. Buriram City itself is pleasant enough but don't expect too much. Rooms are kept very clean and well stocked with bottles of water. Breakfast is fantastic with a varied hot and cold selection. Certainly enough to set you up for the day! The restaurant also provides a varied selection for dinner - everything from steak to pizza to Thai classics. The staff are very friendly and an especial mention goes to Noi Nunticha, who works in the reception. I had a problem with my credit card when I went to checkout but Noi was brilliant and got it sorted with no fuss or bother. She was also a wealth of information about what to see and where to eat. All in all a definite feather in Best Western's cap. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone deciding to stop over in Buriram
this hotel my family they are stay this hotel 3 time hotel very nice good and cleaning , breakfast is perfect fresh and good quality i feel comfortable bed also very good unbelievable small hotel this 5 star hotel i will come back again
Stayed for 3 nights in mid April. Rooms clean. Good A/C. Nice little pool separating the 2 buildings housing the rooms. Staff very friendly. Felt a bit let down when I was charged a tenner for a towel that had some black marks on it (bit of makeup). Whether they had tried to wash or not I don't know. My friend took the towel home, washed it and it came up fine! Spoilt an otherwise decent stay.
Good service, price and food. Simply everything are good at this hotel. The staff speak english wery well. And they meet you with a smile when youre arrive. At this hotel you will neither see some of the staff sitting with there cellphones, looking at YouTube. they are welcoming and helpful. I will recomend this hotel to everyone who visit Buriram.
Good feeling when sleep at here, reasonable price, easy to go , breakfast have many kinds for select and enjoy to eat and drink have swimming pool for exercise and have many staff for takecare when you arrive
The hotel is nice aand very well located. Rooms are clean. May be bed is a little bit hard for european people. Breakfast are good. Service is nice. The swimming pool is nice even if there is no many place around it. Anyway, it is a good place to stay at buriram.
Good decoration, nice service mind. Peaceful, safety and comfortable hotel. Good sleep and best breakfast. It was one good hotel in the town. I would recommend this hotel to my friends to come and stay here if they traveling to Burirum.
This is a good, clean hotel with most of the basic amenities available. Menu is limited for vegetarians though. Decent for a quick short business trip. Enough parking. Decent showers. Located in central town near the university.
A good mid range standard hotel. Rooms are sir conditioned and have double bed, tv and bathroom. Extra bed (for kids ) very steeply priced at 700 baht. Breakfast is excellent, very good buffet style with many selections and an "egg bar" by the pool. Can wat outside which is an attractive option. Good central location for all of Buriram attractions.
Had a two night stay at this hotel a week before Christmas was fabulous. The hotel had Christmas trees and holiday decorations. We had two rooms with balcony and view of pool. The buffet breakfast was one of the best. Ate first night at restaurant had steak and glass of wine which was very good and inexpensive. The staff were always friendly and pleasant. Hotel close to shopping center. Will stay at this hotel again.
I stayed at the Best Western Royal Buriram Hotel as a base of exploration of Buriram province and neighboring Surin. I had come to the Best Western after leaving another hotel for what I thought was an abusive surcharge for early check in. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel rooms are very clean and care is taken in the maintenance of the facilities. The rooms are much like a above average motel in North America. Although it was a short stay I would easily stay there again for travel in Buriram. It is located perfectly to access nearby villages and the fantastic Phanom Rung and Prasat Muang Tam Khmer ruins.
It's a bit of a small Hotel but even so it's nice, goes with Buriram but that is growing. Food is good and cheap here room's pleasant staff also pleasant, location a bit out of town but only 10min taxi ride, the town has some nice street food also european bar's not too many though.
If you're staying in Buriram then I can recommend this hotel, reasonable rates, good choice at breakfast, rooms are clean and a decent size. Easy driving to the local market and some decent restaurants close by
Well worth a stay if your going to burirram. Central to most things. Not far from bus or train station. Plenty bars near by . About 20 or 30 minutes from the airport . There are a lot more hotels opening up around burirram now so plenty of choice.
This small and modern hotel is located on a broad downtown avenue. It provides a large and secure parking area. Its small swimming-pool squeezes between the two aisles of the hotel facilities. This yard set with a few tables is convenient for evening happy hour and morning breakfast. The restaurant has a good variety of choices. Their pizzas are good. In the morning, the breakfast buffet is well provided for. Pity their 'orange juice' is the usual orange color water. Prefer the more natural pineapple juice instead. The rest is fine. Rooms are nice and very clean. The room provides a hot water kettle, a small fridge (with the usual 2 water bottles), a safety deposit-box, a flat screen TV and a good WiFi connection. The drainage water system in the bathroom would clearly need being improved. Otherwise, this hotel provides a nice and convenient place to stay while in Buriram.
Excellent Hotel always try and stay here when we visit Buriram. Nice friendly staff excellent service. Nice rooms always clean and tidy. Great breakfast with an excellent selection a very reasonably priced hotel.
A really nice hotel with cheap room with good value for the Money. The pool is nice but not much sun cuz the Buildings cover most of the sun. The breakfast have Everything i need and was very pleasant. Would live here again next time I come to Buriram without a doubt.
Stayed here for 14 nights with my wife as we were visiting her family. Firstly the rooms,Pool,Reception and Restaurant are all what you would expect from a world wide chain. The buffet breakfast though was consistently luke warm...with the occasional and surprisingly hot dish every now and then. But i will say the choice was good and it was very tasty food. Someone however needs to tell the manager that customers notice when he handles the french bread without using the tongues when he comes down for his breakfast...then puts what he don't use back in the basket.......not exactly very hygenic........ Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Bed took a day or so to get used too as although looks very nice was a little on the hard side....but thats my personal pref...others may like it. Shower facilities could be a lot beter for an international hotel.....very basic. The type of shower you see in a normal £10 per night hotel. We would stay again and actually recommend others do try it.....
Stayed one night at the end of July.Although we visit Buriram regularly, this was our first stay here. The location is good for the bus station, We were well satisfied with the rooms and facilities. The breakfast buffet was of good quality but we did not eat at the hotel in the evening. This will become our regular place to stay in Buriram.
Stayed here with my family for 2 nights. The rooms were clean and the services was great. The parking lot had more than enough space for parking. Only bad thing I could think of was coffee in morning buffet was bad (for the price, it was good enough but imo, it tasted bad).
Nearly everything at the hotel was good. Breakfast was above average and the croissants were surprisingly well done. Perhaps some of the best that I've had in Thailand! As well, the rooms are modern, well-sized, and the bedding is particularly comfortable. As others have said, the WiFi reliability isn't great and the connection will disconnect on occassion. However, speed isn't an issue when it's working. The only negatives I encountered were that the doors are a bit flimsy and that the room key bundle is way too big.
I booked a standard room at a tad over 1,000 Baht and at that price Best Western in Buriram is my hotel of choice. The standard room is virtually deluxe standard and you be hard pressed to find many faults will it - slightly improved bathroom design perhaps. Whilst I didn't make use of it there is a pleasant swimming pool. Parking is easy and access to all parts of Buriram is straight forward. The breakfast is as good as any in the area and any restaurant that not only understands how to cook poached eggs - but actively promotes them, gets my vote.
I stayed here for 5 days whilst supporting a motor race at the Chang International Circuit, which is approx 15 mins drive away. This is the second time I have stayed here. The rooms are reasonably sized and clean. The doors to the room seem to be very cheap and the whole feel is ok, but don't expect luxury. The TV has limited english channels and not the usual international mix. All rooms have wifi which was adequate and ok to stream tv! The room has a safe which is large enough for laptop and other items. Access to the building is secure with a key fob and plenty of security guards.
My favourite choice in Buriram with English speaking staff attentive and friendly...going out of the way to serve. Rooms are clean with amenities. Breakfast is a vast spread and the service staff were great. The only down side of this hotel is the lack of English programs on tv. The restaurant serves a good variety of both Western and Asian dishes
I stayed here for 5 nights. Comfortable sized room with all the standard amenities. Breakfast fairly wide choice. Dinner had Western as well as Thai & Asian selection - Pretty good. Check-in and check-out was easy and quick. Very polite and helpful staff. Walking distance from a variety of eating places - Around the corner we discovered a very good authentic Thai place - Excellent food! Will certainly stay here again
Room on the 2nd floor. Twin sharing room. Views were not so good. Just at the levels of rooftops of the buildings in the area. But sleep was comfortable and room size was just nice. Bathroom rather small and water tends to flow out making it rather wet. Otherwise, good stay, and decently priced.
Good, friendly staff, nice room with big bed good aircon, two big, comfortable padded chairs, my children used as bed. ;-) Clean Swimming Pool, all fine. Except, the TV programs lack a English speaking Movie channel.
I am usually staying with my family near Buriram, but this time I stayed at the Best Western in Buriram. It was a absolute pleasure to stay there. Not only were the staff very, very friendly, no they also spoke good English and some of them spoke even German. The hotel is lead by a GM of the old school showing personally his staff to make their job 200% correct. The GM is Thai/German and always willing to serve you. The hotel has wonderful and air conditioned rooms with great security. I also have to mention the beautiful pool as well as their great and huge breakfast buffet. The price for this kind of hotel is very reasonable and I can only suggest this hotel while staying in Buriram.
A very nice stay at this hotel everything was ok. would definetly stay again. only problem we had was with reception we wanted to stay 1 extra night, we were told to book online which we did, when we checked the girl tried to charge us again, when we said we had already paid she said ok, no checks or anything !
Comfortable rooms and breakfast not too bad. Ample car parking and very centrally located. Not too keen on swimming pool as it is very open and for everyone to stare in at you. Good massage just in front of hotel, good value. Is very close to university so traffic can be hectic during start and finish times at uni.
Four night stay at Best Western Buriram in April, 2016. Check in was excellent with English speaking staff attentive and friendly. I dropped some money when I was completing the check in and minutes after reaching my room the staff called to let me know. Well done!! The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Plenty of hot water and decent pressure in the shower and standard toiletries provided. I was particularly impressed with the room cleaner as she did a great job of tidying up while we were out. The buffet breakfast is head and shoulders above anything else on offer in Buriram. Both my wife and myself looked forward to it every morning. We dined once in the restaurant and were pleased with the quality of the meals ordered from the menu. The location is convenient and easy to find. The only negative aspect of the stay was the cost of a can of cola in the lobby. If memory serves it was 48 baht when the 7-11 across the street charges 14 baht.
When this hotel first opened it was really great but sadly, standards are falling. Nothing works properly in the bedrooms, ( toilets, shower & sink ), when you ask for the room to be cleaned, all they do is replace the towels but don't clean a thing. The wifi is so bad, you barely get a signal that last more than 2 minutes. I spoke to a number of other guests who all say the same. Standards are falling and prices increasing. The hotel restaurant CHIC, used to be excellent but they changed the chef and now it pretty average. It used to be full with diners when they served the all day buffet but that got discarded and now its menu is pages of beer, pizzas and pretty well nothing else. AND WORSE, there is a huge TV screen showing football. Thats not what I want when dining, surrounded by beer swilling rowdy football fans. Sorry, CHIC but you have lost it.
Best Western Royal Buriram Hotel is located near by the main road still it is very quiet. Buriram Bus Terminal is few minutes walk away from the hotel. what sets buriram hotel apart from others is the warm and caring services. the staffs are very professional. the service is not bound just within the hotel but they provide help in making trips, arranging cabs at reasonable price. i also like the idea of saving energy and eco-friendly hotel, however i would like to see more of such practice. Thus, for a good start i give five out of five. Keep up the same spirit and Thank you Buriram hotel for making me trip wonderful.
The first hotel with international standards. The restaurant offering International Thai food, There is a small size of swimming pool. The room are clean and new furnished. The location not far from Sor Ground Market and very near center of the town.
I recommend the Best Western Buriram highly. On a recent stay I found the staff and amenities to be first rate. I particularly reserve special praise for Mr Pepsi who went out of his way to make our stay that much better. He is a credit to the organization and definitely management material of the future. Thanks again, Haydn Atkinson Sydney, Australia
The service was efficient with a lot of good will. The rooms were fine. Westerners will find enough variety of both "Asian" & " western" food for breakfast. comfortable + convenient"...and only 7 km from Big C and the Robinson mall.
Stopped at best western for 6 nights was supposed to be 7 but decided to leave buriram early came on a wedding trip and to see family but not a lot to do in buriram been before so seen what there is to see! Overall best western was ok but better for a short stay! bathroom was only cleaned 1 time in 6 days which isn't the best oh and the room needs a kettle as the machine that is supposed to boil water is useless
Excellent one night stop, very quiet good sleep quality, pool if your interested and restaurant and breakfast all on site. Staff good and no hassle with check in or out. Not much else around you but that seems like BuriRam Highly recommended
I have not slept at the Buriram Best Western Hotel. I have enjoyed the breakfast buffet on five different occasions and found it to be the best value breakfast buffet in Buriram. Excellent food, top notch service, very clean serving area, comfortable seating and a serving team that have been well trained.
I reviewed this hotel previously on July 8, 2015 when I stayed for the first time. Although in that review, I commented that I had hoped it would be years before I visited again, luck wasn't with me. Only a few months later, I found my self checking in to the Best Western. The only thing I can really say about the hotel is that I should have read my own review -- because I should have brought my own sheets and pillows, which was a large complaint of mine. Nothing has changed at the hotel -- it is still quite nice, quiet, with a good location and PLENTY of car parking. There was bacon on the breakfast buffet and it was quite good (missing from my first trip). The rest of the breakfast was also nice. The new Robinsons' Mall is open in Buriram, providing another place to go and relax, especially if you enjoy Starbucks (as well as Pizza Co., MK, Auntie Anne's, etc.). It is not far from the hotel (but not a comfortable walking distance). The staff have always been very nice, and I have never had any issues with any of them. Our room was always cleaned and refreshed when we returned. The hotel provides TWO free bottles of water per night. If you only drink one bottle on one night, hotels normally only leave you the "replacement" bottle. Best Western Buriram didn't fall into that trap -- leaving us 2 bottles each night whether we drank one bottle or both! To me, it showed they wanted to go the extra step! This hotel is "easy" to stay with, and makes this trip more comfortable.
The rooms are modern and clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great and the food from the restaurant is very good. Free towels at the pool are very handy. Just if you travel with a baby / toddler and require a cot definitely go for an upgrade as the standard room would be a bit cramped.
I recently stayed at this hotel. I have no complaints when it comes to the property, but my check in experience was less than ideal. A front desk representative name Googai wouldn't accept my American drivers license for check-in and demanded a Thai National ID card. She didn't explain why the Thai National ID card was needed yet she had no problem accepting my American credit card. Luckily, I was traveling with my relatives and I was able to request someone to check in on my behalf. If anyone from Best Western is reading this please improve this security risk because you could use anyone's credit card as a long you have a Thai ID. I do plan to speak to contact Best Western customer service about this once I get back to the States.
We enjoyed our stay at the Royal Buriram Hotel. The staff were pleasant. Room clean, and very modern. We had the pizza in the cafe for dinner. It was decent, but the crust a bit undercooked, and oily.. It was just a hair away from being great. The breakfast buffet is very good.
The room is ok,but shower gives a lot of problems.but breakfast is unbelieveble !! The variety is perfect ,thai and french ...delicious is never enough !! Thanks from an Italian Who likes the Quality .I want come back again for sure
I was offered this hotel on Airasiago.com at a very competitive price and decided to try it rather than my usual hotel. To say the least I was very pleased. Everything was really good, the rooms were a reasonable size with everything working and clean. Friendly and efficient staff throughout the hotel and good free wi-fi made the stay very pleasant The breakfast buffet was a mix of Asian and Western dishes with many choices including eggs freshly cooked to your own desire. Breakfast was available in the restaurant or around the pool. The restaurant is also available for evening meals and drinks, although I thought the menu was limited the food was excellent and reasonably priced. I paid around B1200 for the deluxe room which was great value, I will definitely stay at The Best Western again and fully recommend the hotel.
Best Western Buriram is an excellent hotel. Definitely recommend it, B1400 per night for a deluxe (they have a super deluxe which is a lot bigger for about Baht 200 more (worth asking for), pool small but kids enjoyed it. Popular hotel with Thais and expats – be aware that it gets very full on weekends of Buriram United games (a friend told us that process go up generally in Buriram on football weekends). Food in the hotel restaurant was very good. Breakfast one of the best in Isaan. A trendy hotel.
We are currently staying at Best Western. The staff consistently 5star! The housekeeping staff does an excellent job of keeping our room clean. The food is very good. We stayed at a 5 star plus hotel in Bangkok and I can say we are just as happy with Best Western Buriram!
This is a modern 3 to 4 star hotel, centrally located in Buriram. It has 79 rooms, complete with LCD television, Wifi, and bar fridge. The hotel offers free airport shuttle, but we had driven from Bangkok so didn't need it. There is a modest sized kidney shaped swimming pool, which is great for a dip before showering and preparing for dinner. Chic, the hotel's restaurant offers a limited range of Thai dishes and western dishes, including the curiously named Steak Sir Lloyd (sic). As we had a visitor from Australia, we opted out and sought a Thai restaurant in town. The staff at Best Western are professional and friendly and speak passable English. The most surprising thing was the sumptuous breakfast included in the price. Used to the normal Thai hotel offering of two eggs with some fake ham, a chicken sausage and a lettuce leaf, the Best Western's breakfast was a veritable feast. It included a full buffet of Asian breakfast dishes, plus eggs to order, crispy bacon, sausages, hash brown potatoes, toast, etc for those that prefer a western breakfast.
I was very impressed by this hotel and the rooms. I'm use to the Best Westerns in the States which aren't very good quality, but this location in Buriram was outstanding. The room I stayed at was very, very clean and above my expectations. The bathroom had a floor shower layout and was very nice. I found a deal through their website and paid about $22 per night compared to their walk-in rate of $45. The restaurant was a bit pricy and was okay, they served all types of Asian/Thai food as well as American foods. There are plenty of stalls nearby as well as a 7/11 where you could buy snacks/food. The one of the staff spoke really good English and helped me with the process. I had to get a shuttle to the airport, 30 minutes away, and they charged $20, so I guess that was the only downside I would have to say. I didn't swim in the pool at all, but it appeared nice, though it was near the entrance. Overall, great hotel! I had an awesome experience.
This violet hotel was quite good, on the main road, so easily reachable. Room was clean and nice. Good security for the room and for the parking. Personally I didn't like the pool very much as it is just in front of the entry. Generally it was quite good.
Good security key for guests only. Clean room with good amenities including free coffee. Nice small swimming pool. Good breakfast. Efficient and friendly staff. Would be better if they will have shaded car park.
