I booked lunch for 9 for my mother's 95th birthday. We were given our own private room and all of us had a wonderful get-together. The food was delicious, the mocktails were fantastic, service felt very warm and responsive. Afterwards we went out to take group photos on the attractive grounds. A totally appreciated setting for our matriarch!! Complements from all of us for the hospitality..

It was the perfect getaway. Everything exceeded our expectations! The room was clean and spacious. They even had bathrobes and slippers in the closet - I don't think I've ever stayed at a hotel that provided slippers. The SPA was peaceful and relaxing. Both breakfast and dinner were absolutely EPIC. Maybe I just haven't stayed at many luxury properties, but their omelette was one of the best I've had. It was cooked fresh right in front of me by a very nice chef. Dinner was simply incredible as well. Every staff member we met was warm and welcoming. The entire property has a charming vintage style while being well maintained. The front yard is also beautiful and Instagrammable.

Enjoyed Sunday Brunch here. Something for everyone from Crepes, to Breakfast, Eggs Benedict, Salmon, etc. etc. etc. Right from the minute I was greeted at the door and taken to my table - felt like royalty. Then add was "served" throughout our meal by Christine. She was delightful.... Nothing could of been any better. Fabulous place to visit!

We had a fantastic dining experience at the Elmhurst Inn & Spa. The food was excellent, and the setting is beautiful—especially with the grounds coming into spring and the charming Victorian mansion. Our server, Peter, went above and beyond—friendly, funny, and perfectly attentive while still giving us space to enjoy a quiet evening. Please pass our thanks along to management. This will definitely be our go-to spot for a great dinner experience!

My wife and I live in London Ontario, so this destination is not far, we were blown away by the excellent friendly staff, everyone there were so pleasant. The grounds are very romantic, it was our anniversary, 19 years of marriage. Our room was a king and jacuzzi with club like amenities. The dinning was over the top with a fabulous starter of bbq octopus,crab cake smoked salmon and coconut shrimp and one of the best Cesar salads. Our entree was the largest filet minion I've ever seen tender and mouthwatering and prime rib! Succulent with the best horseradish, it had a hint if ginger. Definitely farmer portions! My wife felt like a Queen and I her king💕 if you haven't had a romantic getaway before this is your starter!

Long pending review from April 2025, when I spent a weekend at Elm Hurst Inn & Spa in Ingersoll with my family and it was a mixed but memorable experience. The setting is charming — the historic Victorian-style property and beautifully manicured grounds immediately create a peaceful, country-escape vibe that was perfect for a short break. Our room was comfortable and spacious, though not overly modern and quite dated. The heater was noisy and the window was directly on the lawn behind where people were roaming around. The restaurant dining was a highlight — excellent food and attentive service made for some truly enjoyable meals, esp. breakfasts. If you're looking for a cozy getaway with a mix of relaxation and good food, Elm Hurst is a lovely choice.

As part of our family Christmas this year we decided to take everyone out for a nice dinner and chose the Elm Hurst Inn in Ingersoll. Having several young (4 and under) grandchildren with us and several family members with dietary restrictions (severe egg allergy and celiac) we had to be very selective in choosing our location. After several phone conversations with dining room management we were assured that The Elm Hurst would be able to accommodate our specific needs and they did not disappoint! Our family of 12 were seated in a lovely private room complete with high chairs and boosters for the 4 little ones. Our waiter, Peter was most attentive to everyone in the group and Chef Phillipe saw to it that we all enjoyed the most delicious dining experience - including those with dietary risk concerns. Everything from the tasty appetizers to the delicious entres and yummy desserts were outstanding. Each of our family members chose a wide variety of the various menu options and all raved about their choices whether appetizer, entre or dessert! For the little ones there was a children's menu that offered a good selection of child-pleasing options including very generous servings of pasta or chicken fingers and fries. We all thoroughly enjoyed our evening at The Elm Hurst Inn and can't thank the staff there enough for making the evening so memorable! In fact, we all enjoyed it so much that we've decided to make it a family Christmas tradition!

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner at the restaurant at the Elm Hurst Inn and Spa. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt special, and a large part of that was thanks to our server, Jackie. She was absolutely phenomenal—warm, attentive, and genuinely engaging. Her sense of humour put us at ease, she took photos for us without being asked, and she went out of her way to make our anniversary feel truly celebrated. We had read past reviews describing Jackie as both elegant and funny, and we could not agree more. In fact, we would add that she is a reason to dine here—she elevated the entire evening and made it unforgettable. The food was equally impressive. Every dish was excellent, but the standout was the duck. My husband is a longtime duck enthusiast and has had it many times in many places, and he said this was one of the best preparations he has ever had—perfectly cooked and full of flavour. It was a flawless evening from start to finish. If you are dining here, we sincerely hope you get Jackie as your server—you will not be disappointed.

We had a lovely meal! Beautiful estate, great service, gorgeous food. We met the chef Philippe and congratulated him on the huge honour of becoming a Master Chef. We are privileged to have him in the area!

Went there for dinner. Beautiful place. Gorgeous gardens and grounds. However, it is just off the freeway, which is strange given how beautiful the place is The food was so-so. Sat on patio, again beautiful. But menu was uninspiring We drove 2 hours to get there! Expensive too. Service was good. We ordered salmon which was great, but way too heavy with mashed potatoes and heavy gravy. It was close to 35 out and they needed something fresher and lighter. I assume it is the same menu year round. Looked like farm to table, but did not taste that way. A few weddings going on there at that time. Can't say anything about the accommodations. Staff was excellent, but never saw the rooms.

Loved the Inn. We came for a short stay and a spa session. The Inn was elegant, spotless and interesting. The staff were wonderful and the food was amazing . We had a great afternnon at the spa, with tea in the lounge after. We had a view of forest and sky from the room. Can't wait to go back.

We enjoyed a wonderful night in the Lord Connaught room. The fire pit on the patio was so enjoyable with a nice bottle of wine. The linens and pillows were of excellent quality and the bed was very comfortable. We had an amazing dinner 10/10! We would definitely recommend the Elmhurst Inn.

Brunch was well presented, and dishes were labelled. A good variety of meat, salads and dessert. Everything was fresh and great salad dressings. Deserts were delicious. Staff are all friendly and prompt. The gorgeous heritage building sets the scene.

My mother-in-law, wife & went for Sunday Brunch today and everything exceeded our expectations. The hostess Deb, our server Sabrina, the young men working the hot buffet table, making omelets and crepes couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. The food, staff and atmosphere made for lovely day.

The food was delicious—definitely a 10 out of 10. Since the chef is French, I would have loved to see maybe one or two classic French dishes on the menu. The restaurant itself is a beautiful old house. However, the service could be improved. I mentioned when making the reservation that it was my wife's birthday, but they didn't even acknowledge it. What would make the service perfect at a restaurant of this type is the attention to detail from the servers to make the experience feel unique. Additionally, it was a bit noisy at the back, possibly due to the servers' activity. Overall, I would give the food a 10/10, but for service, I'd rate it a 6/10 for a restaurant of this caliber

Our family met in Elmhurst Inn for a Christmas 🎄 brunch . We hadn't been to a brunch in several years at the Elmhurst. Turkey with basically no dressing. There was a crumble of dressing spread thinly over the top of the turkey.🦃 The plates were freezing cold,.. Your food didn't stay warm. Christmas pudding had to skimpiest amount Of sauce in the bottom of the warmer. I must say Our private room was delightful. It did not damp in our holiday spirit… If there is a next time and that is a BIG QUESTION, I would order off the menu.
