Best Western Hotel Sunrise Inn & Suites, Stony Plain

I really enjoyed my rest here. The service was great and was greeted with lots of smiles and cheerfulness. The bed you had no choice but to fall asleep in. And not want to get out of bed. The swimming pool was nice and cool and very comfortable.

checking in and out was easy. front desk staff were courteous. our room was big, clean, it has a small kinda kitchen- aside from the usual coffee, tea etc there's sink, dishes, soap dish, few kitchen gadgets. i'm not a big breakfast eater, selection of food and drinks were OK

The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean. The hotel was updated and very nice. The kitchenette amenites were newer and very nice as well. Staff was friendly. I was there for work so I didn't use the pool but it looked nice and many people seemed to be enjoying it.

They enter on DO NOT DISTURB signs, company trucks have been broken into three times in the past ten months, prioritize short-term guests or long term in regards to room reservations. Plus side- Rooms are large...

Sorry to hear about the issues you have had with your vehicle, we do have our parking lots monitored 24hrs by camera. We try our best to accommodate all of our guests and extend current guest when needed with the least disruption as possible. Thank you for your feedback we appreciate the time you took to share.

I was staying for few nights and found it very pleasant. Nice big rooms, comfortable bed with different firmness pillows.I would recommend this hotel, good location too. Has a restaurant lounge with delicious meals and drinks.

Nice hotel, friendly staff but noisy in the morning as guests leave at all hours. The doors are very heavy and tend to slam as they close letting you know when others get up or go to the gym etc. Hotel could use some USB plug ins as well as the only one I could find was on the TV. Good location and clean..

We always stay at Best Western if it is at all comparable in rates and close to where we are going. This hotel is great and lives up to Best Western standards. The taff is always very professional and look after your every request. It was great to see the lounge was open for supper. The meal was great. Not a big menu but very adequate. We ordered 1 meal and shared it. Lots of food

Always welcoming and friendly staff. You are always welcomed even with large families and many children. You got everything in the area within a walking distance from the hotel. The sauna room was a bonus. so powerful and relaxing that it is worth every penny. definitely I got my money worth and will come again.

Showed up for our reservation. We were advised that no pet friendly rooms were available. We were advised to find another hotel. Hotel did not cancel booking even though we were standing a front desk to check in person. Hotel processed payment. Called them for refund they said booking..com processed payment as a no show.. We were there in person. Hotel says they can't issue refund and booking.com says contact hotel. Sounds like a total scam to me. Save yourself the frustration of travelling and stay where you know you won't be ripped off and can be guaranteed a room… Customer service gets a zero from me.. Stay away from Best Western

Do to the long weekend were unable to accommodate you with your request for a pet friendly room. The charge for the guaranteed one night was refunded to the credit card on file. We are again sorry we were unable to accommodate your request.

Located near a number of restaurants and other amenities, this hotel is located near the things you may need. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The breakfast is a nice arrangement of mixed foods. Staff were helpful. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed by kids and adults alike.

Really great price - unexpectedly had a kitchenette in the pet-friendly, double Queen room. Everything was clean. Kids enjoyed the pool and water slide. Felt safe leaving our pet for short stints when needed. Breakfast left a little to be desired in terms of quality but complimentary breakfast is always a nice touch!

Pretty great value for the price. The hotel was very clean, the staff members were helpful (when needed), and the breakfast was fantastic (lots of options to choose from). Overall, great value for the cost.

Stony Plain locaction has a fantastic pool. After hours in a car, zipping down a waterslide and sitting in a hot tub is amazing. What more could you ask for? Highly recommended if you are travelling with kids.

Staff were very accommodating. Excellent breakfast - very much appreciated the fact that celiac disease was recognized with gluten free food. Appreciated that the room was cool and quiet. Bathroom however could use some work. Would definitely stay again.

I've recently stayed at Edmonton City Centre, and Fort Saskatchewan Best Westerns and this one here in Stoney Plain is the nicest of the 3 so far. Larger, very clean rooms, and helpful, knowledgeable staff.

Positives: * Excellent service quality by the front desk staff: Courtni and Kayla. They showed me several rooms and allowed me to pick one before booking. * Honored Best Western membership by providing a welcome gift * Great hot shower * Easy parking * One of better Best Western in terms of room condition and service quality. * Standard good breakfast Negatives: * A pillowcase smelt - unclean. Shard with Kayla, she said she would let housekeeping know, but she did not apologize, would have been great if she responded by saying, “we apologize about this and thanks for letting us know. Would you like us to bring you a new pillow?” That's the proper way to resolve it: acknowledge with an apology, and show appreciation, and offer solutions. * The room door does create loud bam sound when closing. - would encourage people to close slowly to reduce the bam noise, especially during late night or early morning. Could easily wake up people when they still need their sleep. * A car alarm in the guest parking lot went on around 6:30am and did not go off for a minute. At 6:45am, a loud car drove by making very loud noise. Unfortunately, there are still inconsiderate people out there. But I would like to believe that most people are thoughtful and considerate. Other info: * Their incidental hold was 300% of the price you paid for the room, which is very high compared to 90% of hotels globally. * They took your payment info twice: first time to run the credit card through for incidental, the second time is manually info your credit card info onto their system, which I felt redundancy and unnecessary because I have paid through Expedia. * Notice hotels in Canada tend to have tall shower heads and cloth hangers, taller than hotels in the US. For short people can be a bit challenging to reach but should be OK for most people. Uncleanliness and noisiness in its surrounding area are two main reasons why I could not provide a 5 out of 5.

We stayed here while visiting family and I cannot praise it enough. The room was great and the staff were fantastic. We spent a couple of days with grandchildren in the pool and had such fun! When we got the bill we were shocked. 4 days at this Best Western was only twice as much as 1 night in the Best Western at Valemount, which was not as nice. Thank you to the staff in Stony Plain for making our stay so perfect.

After a long road trip we were happy to find this Bestwestern hotel where we could relax and unwind.The desk staff were awesome. We were happy to know that breakfast would be available in the morning for us . After freshening up we headed down to the on site restaurant and were greeted by a cheery staff member. Had a good hot meal and watched the hockey game. Breakfast was great with a large variety to choose from and a great attendant who constantly checked on things. Checkout was quick and easy.

Rooms are large, clean, comfortable and have glass glasses, microwave and fridge. Staff is friendly and efficient. Breakfast was like no other hotel that supplies breakfast. It includes bacon, eggs, yogurt, sweet buns, toast, etc

I had commented on the online form regarding my satisfaction with our stay. The manager Richelle replied with standard protocol and refused to help me sort through my concern and in fact advised me I was wrong. Then she avoided my long distance calls for 8 days until I turned off my caller ID. When I finally spoke to her in an attempt to resolve my concern and or apologize she became argumentative and refused to listen or help me resolve my issues. I am a diamond select member and I was not treated fairly or professionally. My questions were never answered. She did nothing to make me feel welcome, apologize or encourage me to come and stay with BW again to help make it right. I travel extensively for work and spend 11 months out of each year in hotels and motels. (in fact in a BW right now). I will now be spending more time at Airbnb's wherever I take our crew of 10 to 12 men in the future. There is no room in my life for this type of arrogant entitlement.

We enjoyed the amazing waffles, pastry, sausage and big variety at breakfast. The rooms were nice and clean. The saltwater pool was fun for all ages. Check in and check out was a smooth process. Renting a conference room to gather after the funeral was nice too.

I stayed the weekend there with my daughter and 2 grandkids. The staff there is amazing. They are so helpful and pleasant to deal with. The pool was very nice and the grandkids really enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Stony Plain

My family chooses staying in this hotel every time we go to Edmonton. The room is clean. Room price includes breakfast. There are lots of dining place around the area. The kids love the pool. Staff are helpful. They keep the hotel area and rooms clean.

Beds were old and sunk in. not comfortable and my back was a mess after my stay. Asked the front desk for a menu and 45 mins later I went down to get one myself. Restaurant food was overpriced so I went to the BPs across the road. And pet-friendly rooms are not the nicest. at the end of the hallway looked to be COVID quarantine rooms that we were not aware of until we went looking for ice. The hotel staff was not friendly with my dogs like most other hotels are example the holiday inn was excellent with my dogs when I stayed there and they would give them treats daily.

This is the second time my family has stayed here. The rooms and property is very friendly and well maintained. Very friendly staff who go out of their way to make your stay a good one. We will stay here again when in the area.

Great stay. The staff were all very nice and friendly, they met all our needs and wants. The rooms were very nice , loved having a closed off room, and kids loved the movies that were playing. Loved the pool.

We have stayed here every other two weeks since November of 2021. This place is the absolute best all around. Super friendly, and super friendly. The highlight has been the breakfast room- Kim is the head of the place and she is FANTASTIC! Always smiling, chatting and the coffee is always full! She is the main reason we kept coming back. This is a wonderful place to stay and would highly recommend it to all!

Surprised our kids with a hotel movie night and sadly there was no option of renting movies but there were 4 movie channels. Only 1 was working and it was already half through. I went to the front desk to see if a new one could be started but they could not assist me as they said the equiptment was ancient. Needless to say our kids were very unhappy and just wanted to go home

Excellent hotel value. A great hotel with a nice lounge and a great breakfast. The hotel was clean, well-run, The fitness room has well maintained equipment. It is location conveniently with lots of services, restaurants, and other facilities nearby.

This was our second stay at the Stony Plain location and we would go back again. The staff is very friendly. Rooms feel spacious, except for the king rooms right beside the elevator. We had two queens our first stay and it too had a small kitchen area with microwave, dishes and sink - so convenient and appreciated.

When things spiraled out of control about billing policies i was asked "if i have ever stayed in a hotel before" i would avoid this property if you are staying for more than a day or two. To be CLEAR- their billing policy is to bill on day 7 of your stay. This was communicated on day 8 when the room was locked with our things in side.

the people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful and checked me in very quickly. The room was very clean , the bed very good and the breakfast was amazing with a extremely friendly and helpful lady

Love this hotel! It has it all for a pleasant enjoyable stay . Big clean rooms with fridge,microwave, sink , dishes. As well as free breakfast and a great pool , and even a nice touch of slippers and robes to use ! Great value for a very reasonable rate. We will return.

We found the staff very friendly and helpful. We had booked a suite and it was adequate. Lighting was very poor. Much prefer rooms where the sink and mirror are separate from the toilet and tub area. Then two people can be getting ready for the day at the same time.

Location was great, good access to services. Fast food and personal hygiene service close by. Staff is very helpful and professional. Staff is very friendly and great to converse with. Facilities are clean and well kept.

Welcomed like old friends, by a courteous check-in person. Room was very nice and CLEAN!! We had requested the top floor and it was honored, even though the hotel was very busy. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Breakfast was excellent, with 3 hot items, and many choices of other items as well. Well managed by a lovely, entertaining lady who loves her job and it shows!

Travelling with a pet isn't the easiest, and I was a little disappointed to find out that there weren't main floor rooms, as that's always much easier to handle with a dog that needs to go out in the night... but the staff were so friendly and welcoming, and my room was fantastic so it really outweighed the convenience of a main floor room. The room was very clean, comfortable bed, and had a kitchenette, which was very helpful. The elevators were fast, my room was located close to a stairwell, and had a convenient exit to load/unload my vehicle. Not to mention, the price was unbeatable!

Very nice hotel, friendly staff and super comfy bed! Came here for a triathlon and hotel was affordable and reasonably priced! Clean hotel as well. For sure will be staying here again next year! Check out was super easy as well as had express check out which was convenient

They make it hard to check in employees of a company that are using company credit card, they have no respect for diamond members if the points weren't earned at their hotel. I checked in stayed 2 nights, checked out early but realized I wasn't done work so tried to check back in but since I'm with a company made it a big process again, my office tried to work with the hotel but didn't work out. So holiday inn got my next 10 days unfortunately. I'm still loyal to best western just not this one.

The Good - Amazing bathroom with 2 person soaker tub. I can not understand why they do not have a picture of the bathroom on the website because it is the best part of the whole room. It felt like a $500/night room. Rest of the room was great, comfy bed. Get staff, very friendly. The Bad - No cots available for children that do not like to share a sofa bed. Very uncomfortable sofa bed. The pool area was completely closed down. This was possibly not the hotels fault though, most likely due to covid restrictions, still, very disappointing for the kids.

We are returning from the USA and needed an overnight stop as it is too far to travel from the border to our home in one day. We chose this hotel and it is one of Best Westerns great property's. Truly what we have come to expect from Best Western Hotels. Nice clean rooms with good amenities, friendly staff

Absolutely amazing trip. Helpful staff. Even with the grim guidelines of the pool shut down we were accommodated with a large jacuzzi tub that was just as much fun for our little ones. We would love to come back and use the pool once opened again.

We stayed at the Best Western in Stoney Plain the first week of April 2021. I picked this location due to the on line reviews and our stay was just like others had experienced. Great location, very clean and friendly, cosy beds, a great complement breakfast and best of all very reasonable price. The only negative experience if I could call it that was due to COVID we could only enjoy the pool/slide for 30 minutes. But it was for individual families only during the allotted time and they made it available to guest when checking in. If staying there maybe call in advance to book best time as only a few spots were available for us when we arrived.

This was a staycation to get away from all the covid stress. The pool was the hilight for our family. Fast slide! The kids were so excited. The hotel was really nice and exceeded my expectation. It was also nice to have a warm breakfast included.

Househunting is always stressful, checking out places you're not familiar with so it's comforting to come back to a peaceful relaxing comfortable room in the evening. I like to soak in the tub and relax then pop something in the microwave, because I'm tired of seeing people, and just chow down watching the TV We always can count on clean crisp sheets and a good nights sleep with BW I'm not a breakfast person so it's wonderful when the chef Cheryl knows exactly what you need and she's there to see that you don't miss anything cause it's so early and you're not awake. She's happy and helpful and cooks the bacon and eggs and sausages to perfection. Thanks BW the family away from home.

We ended up having to stay due to a highway closure. For a quick overnight stay our expectations were exceeded for the amount we paid. We stayed in a queen suite, with our toddler. The room was spacious and clean! The staff were genuinely kind and friendly. The pool area was the best! It was cleaned between every use. We were able to book 30 min and have it all to ourselves. Hotel is in a great location. I felt like we were at a higher end hotel, our room had robes and slippers. The absolute only downfall was our bed felt a bit dated as we could feel the springs(could have only been this room). All in all we were very pleased with the quality of this hotel!

Our stay was very good. We stayed in the family suite which gave us extra space and 2 bathrooms which added value for us, as well as receiving the member rate. Breakfast was very nice, sanitary and available until 10am. Helpful, friendly employees as well.

Room was clean, bed was comfy, breakfast was delicious and satisfying. Hot items served by hotel staff. Filled out short health form at check-in, staff were very very nice while still making sure protocols were being followed.

This is a first class hotel with very pleasant,efficient and professional staff. It should be rated at least a plus but more appropriately a Primier. It does not have a restaurant in the hotel but there are several within steps of the hotel. The rooms are very large, modern, clean and quiet.

Excellent I needed a quiet place to stay and I needed internet service for a zoom meeting. The only thing lacking was the usual warm breakfast ...because of COVID 19 concerns a bag breakfast was provided.

Once we found the hotel, there isn't a sign on the road that says 'Best Western' only the 'Library Lounge'. there is a sign that could be seen from the highway if you are coming from one direction. Just not the direction that we came from. The Staff were friendly and efficient upon check in. The room appeared to be really clean, but didn't stink of cleaning products. The water was hot for showers with great pressure. However, the WIFI took the show, it was so fast! My Husband and I were downloading shows & on our phones & it was still fast! (we had spent all day together, some alone time was needed!)

During these challenging times your staff did a great job to support us as we came to stay for one night. We will be back because of the front desk staff. We needed advise to find food as we were there late and your staff really came to the Plate.

Best Western had the space we needed for our family of six. It was nice to have my children in the same room as they are young. The hotel was clean and very comfortable. Everyone we came in contact with was very kind and professional.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. I like that it has a small kitchenette and plates/cups available. Breakfast has good selection and pool is great for the kids. The floor was making noise in some spots but overall a great stay.

I have stayed at this property on several occasions and have always found the staff to be very friendly and pleasant. Breakfast has several options to choose from, both hot and cold. All of my trips have been for business and this location is ideally located.

We love going to this hotel the pool is fantastic for all ages, the contenital breakfast is awesome with a waffle bar, and a variety of other choices! The rooms are a good size and the robes and slippers are an added bonus!

We usually stay at the same hotel every time we go to Edsmonton and it is very good.. Going again tomorrow and staying the night.We have been there with familt and with children and always a good experience

We stayed at the best western in stony plain for one night at the beginning of our christmas holiday. We wanted a hotel with a pool and waterslide for the kiddos. This hotel was perfect. For a family of 5 we got a room with 2 beds and a pull out, fit us perfectly. The room was clean and updated. Only complaint for us is the beds are too firm for our liking. Free wifi and movie channels was also a plus. The pool was great with a slide, hot tub and steam room. The complimentary breakfast was a money saver for a family of 5. With lots of options from pastries, cereals and yogurts to sausages and scrambled eggs with a variety of toppings of bacon bits, cheese onions and hot sauces. And of course make your own waffles with toppings and whipped cream. Check in and out was a breeze and staff were friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel for famiilies!

Stayed here while visiting friends, great price of hotel and great rooms. Clean and spacious, friendly staff and fantastic free breakfast. Only issue we found was that they have a restaurant down stairs that won't to room service.

Whenever I am in the Edmonton area overnight I ALWAYS stay at the Best Western Sunrise in Stony Plain. The staff is friendly and helpful, from when I first check in to when I leave. The hotel as well as the rooms are always clean and breakfast is ready when I am! It's just like having a vacation but as comfortable as home!

The hotel location is perfect, there is alot ot room for parking. The room were clean.. I love the piano its beautiful and not just ornamental. The people were wonderful. Everyone at the check in desk were just the most fantastic people and the lady that runs the lounge was super friendly and a good hearted person.

Great hotel with fantastic staff! Clean rooms, quick check in and a yummy breakfast the next morning! The ballroom for our party was well set up, festive/attractive and the food was the best! Totally recommend!

Welcomed with big smiles, rooms were clean and quiet our vehicle always is safe in the parking lot. Having allergies to a lot of foods we are still able to find something to enjoy at breakfast. The tables are clean and so is the serving area. Check out was fast and friendly.

The wife and I headed to the city for a pleasant but well deserved get away . We started off in this establishment and ended the weekend in this same place ! Johnathan at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure we had everything needed for a pleasant stay for the accessibility handicapped experience we required !!

stayed here for 2 nights on business trip..very nice and clean room...great complimentary breakfast choices..elevator service which some motels do not offer.. very comfortable...in room complimentary tea and coffee and small fridge if needed recommended

My husband is handicapped and travel is difficult. I had our grandkids staying with us for the summer. The pool at the Stony Plain location has a waterslide. The kids felt like they were on vacation, and I could still run home everyday to take care of my husband. Plus it was a nice break for me. No cooking or cleaning. The staff were great. The food was great, and the price was a good value. I stayed with my 3 grandkids for the labour day weekend. We decided to make this a tradition. Good way to end the summer vacation. I wasn't alone in my thinking. Kids made friends at the pool, and many said they were there with their grandparents.

We visited Stony Plain to surprise our daughter on her engagement! We had a lovely room with comfortable furnishings and beds. The breakfasts were great and Cheryl added so much to our experience. She us a treasure. Whenever we come to Stony we stay at the Best Western .

Our stay at Best Western Stoney Plaine was fantastic, well appointed rooms, very clean and comfortable and the service was excellent. We normally avoid this hotel chain as we have not had a very good experience but this location has changed our view to staying at Best Western in the future. Thank you.

This is the second summer my family and I have stayed for a few nights at this hotel while visiting family nearby, and I only have good things to say! This hotel is very clean, and has many little extras and details that make you feel like you are staying somewhere in a much higher price point. My kids love the pool and the breakfasts are so good! The staff are very friendly and helpful as well. We will likely be back every summer because I feel like I get such a "bang for my buck" with this hotel. Very highly recommend!

Great staff, very friendly. Good options for rooms, pet friendly, awesome breakfast buffet., love the variety of dishes. For you kids and adults the water slide and the pool are fantastic. Just 25 min from West Edmonton Mall. Every year we come and continue to stay at this property. Love it

Stayed at this hotel for just one night but it was perfect. We got upgraded because of our best western status to a king suite, and had everything we could ask for. Comfortable king size bed, fridge, microwave, and a large bathroom.

This hotel had everything that I needed for a 3 night stay. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. The rooms were large and clean and the breakfast was hot and well supplied.

The Best Western is always Good and Consistent. Our room was clean and the breakfast had good options. The hotel is generally an half a hour away from anything in Edmonton. I recommend this hotel for families and suggest the Family Suite.

My wife and I stayed here 1 night during our drive from Jasper National Park to Edmonton. Our standard room (100 USD / 130 CAD) was very spacious, spot clean and by far one of the best rooms we have experienced during our total of 2 months in Canada / USA. Considering the price it was great value. During our 3 road trips in North America we have had breakfast at Super 8, Econo Lodge, Desert Garden Inn, Comfort Inn and Best Western, and the breakfast items are usually quite similar no matter where you stay. However, at Best Western it's just more inviting, beautifully (and logically) presented, and the food itself is also better quality and more tasty. I can highly recommend this hotel with an excellent location just outside Edmonton, nice and spacious rooms and a great breakfast buffet.

Always a great experience to stay at this hotel. Great service, staff, accommodation and atmosphere. Always stay here when in Stony Plain. Close to other amenities. Like the breakfast option in the morning.

I stay in hotels for work almost year round! Great choice excellent staff. I collect points and from wyndham and canalta, best western has the best point system. Staff was very friendly the breakfast, pool and gym are excellent as well.

Booked the Queen sofa suite for a slumber party for my 8 year old and her friends. The pool was our main focus, it was clean and tonnes of fun with the slide. Clean towels were always available! Our room was great as well, with a mini kitchen area: fridge, microwave and even dishes! Was great for having food and snacks for the kids and not have to scrumage around for cups and plates. Loved the fancy touches in the room, which included bathrobes and slippers!

Excellent property with friendly staff spacious rooms and a very good breakfast. Also it has a restaurant on the premises which we like when we arrive and not have to drive away on the day of arrival for your evening meal.

Great suites for families& wonderful pool& slide for the kids. A really good continental breakfast that the kids love too! Only complaint is that they don't seem to clean the pull out couches as we've found food& a liquor bottle in them the last couple visits...gross.

Stayed for conference, my husband joined me and son & his wife came up fro Calgary. Room was really nice with 2 Q beds, the conference room at end of hall on main floor was great for our purposes. My son & his wife got a larger room so we could celebrate with a bottle of champagne ( they brought with them .. there was NONE to be had at the liquor store in S.P. Very nice complimentary breakfasts in a.m. - hot tub was nice, we managed to get in inbetween the kids & families ;)

Great hotel! The manager was very accommodating for our family while we were visiting out of province for a funeral. We very much appreciated how generous everyone we met at the hotel were. When we first checked in my daughters were having meltdowns and the front desk staff gave them ducks to play with, my son loved playing with them in the pool. My family loved the pool area, was big and the slide was fun for the kids The breakfast was delicious and the ladies running the breakfast area were so friendly! The fire alarm did go off around 10:30pm so we all had to evacuate but the young guy that was working stayed calm and was great at informing everyone what was going on. The rooms were nice and clean and my son loved that they made the bed with his blanket and put his panda bear on his pillow. We definitely will be staying here next time we are in the area!

Stay was good food was good pool and amenities for good beds are soft internet was good service at the front desk was kind and friendly all around good place to stay I would recommend it to anyone in the Stony Plain area

This hotel has all the things you need. It is clean and comfortable. There are many dining options around the hotel. Excellent pool for kids. They have great suits if you need a little more room. Staff is friendly.

We made a quick stop here on our way to Prince Rupert BC. The rate per night was good and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub made for a nice relaxing evening after a long days drive.

I took my grandchildren for a Spring Break getaway for 2 days. We all live within 20 mins. The grandchildren were in the pool all day. Made friends. Slept well. Ate a hearty breakfast in the morning. My only complaint is the pillows. Too big and fluffy.

Very satisfied with the accommodations and the willingness of the staff they'll get my sister who has physical difficulties get her ice on a different floor when she called the front desk after looking for the ice machine on our floor.

I've stayed at this hotel quite a few times and it is always clean and well appointed. The staff are all great, friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included and the selection is good and the food is always hot and or fresh. The room are very clean and the beds are comfortable. When in this area I will always chose this hotel.

Stayed here for 2 nights for a Baton competition. Friendly and fast front desk staff, pool had waterslide (huge plus for the kids). Room, lobby, and eating areas were clean overall. Wifi was on the slow and unreliable side. Overall stay was very good.

Whenever on the road I always choose to stay at a Best Western. The staff are always welcoming and friendly, the rooms are always clean and breakfast is hot and tasty. When in the Edmonton area I invariably stay at the Best Western Sunrise Inn in Stony Plain. It is only a few minutes drive to the city and the staff are so welcoming. The Best Western Sunrise Inn is my Home-Away-From-Home.

This hotel offers an alternative to those doing business on the west side of Edmonton or who are on their way to further north west communities. Being able to avoid Edmonton traffic while travelling to High Prairie for instance is fantastic; and the Stony Plain / Spruce Grove area offers great, affordable restaurants and shopping.

a nice location , attractive lobby that is welcoming to traveler's . a young hotel so is clean and comfortable . easy to enjoy this location and convenient for my purpose . Sleep quality !! the Beds are Comfortable /firm (i like ) ,I work hard and late, sleep is a whole other subject

This location exceeds any expectations with Business travel. Offers all amenities, great service, and great location. Could not have asked for a better stay for my business trip. Staff were all cheerful, friendly and helpful.

We have stayed at this location numerous times and like it every time. It may be out of the way for stuff to do outside of the west end of Edmonton but for the value and the amenities that are in the hotel makes it worth it

Had to stop overnight for work and as usual was not disappointed by the best western product especially the front staff was pretty amazing the rooms were modern and comfortable. And the free breakfast was done very nicely with a lot of choices. Overall a great stay.

We have had excellent stats with the rooms/pool and breakfast being awesome each stay. Family friendly environment with great parking provided. Worth the 15 minutes drive from Edmonton to stay at this hotel

I have been traveling to Stony Plain for three years now for work, and the Sunrise Inn and Suites is the absolute best. Great staff and service, wonderful breakfast, and spotlessly clean. I highly recommend this to business travelers, or anyone fore that matter! Do yourself a favor and stay here.

The front end staff polite, friendly. The room was very clean ... great service. I have stayed here on many occasions and would recommend this location to anyone. Kids seemed to love the pool. Breakfast always good.

This was our third time staying at this best western. It hasn't disappointed us and anytime I've had a small issue they are quick to correct it. Pool is great for kids big and small as there is a deeper side for the older kids with the water slide as well as a shallow side for toddlers. Room was very clean and spacious and breakfast was great with lots of tables to sit at as well as a big selection of items hot and cold.Will definitely stay again in the future!

Nothing wrong with hotel, but for the price it was not enough. Staff were aloof and sometimes rude, breakfast was mediocre, location was difficult to find as the signs were hard to see. Not sure that I would stay here again.

It was hard to find the location as the was almost no signs before we had to turn off, and then very hard to find which building the hotel was. But the service was good, room was nice and clean and well stocked.

Three times the charm,? Second time around I gave benefit of doubt From Rude front desk girl Who wouldn't even look at you, To appalling service by one server in library room WOW,!!! My co worker was questioned when requesting another glass of wine, (Haven't you had alot of wine tonight ?) With a response of shock, my co worker reiterated his request I will guarantee you this Nobody was out of line Aside from a server with Zero etiquette! $99.00 bill with 1 meal 1 appt 1 salad 1 bowl of soup our wine bill was half our bill between 2 On a day off after an 80 hr week I will Never come back! After my co-worker and I both commented on how the front desk wasn't the most friendly, we both had an awful time in our hotel room. The rooms were right beside the elevator and were completely NOT sound proof. You could hear every DING of the elevator (on each floor it dings and you hear it go through every floor!). We were there for 5 nights and once the weekend hit it got worse. It's clearly a wedding destination but people were coming off the elevator from 11 pm until 3 am....besides the elevator dinging over and over, drunken loud people went up and down the halls yelling at each other. I finally called the front desk around 2 am to ask for help and the girl basically said she couldn't do much. If this is a regular situation there should all east be security there to calm the crowds on the main floor or to come up and help. I was there or a work event and won't be staying there again as I need to get a good nights sleep. Upon checkout when we mentioned that the noise was so loud from our rooms the only response from this front desk girl was, "Oh well you chose a king size room..." (??? We weren't even sure how to respond to that....).

Stayed at the hotel four nights, rooms were clean, well equipped. The hotel was in a convenient location. Was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and choices in the continental breakfast. The Library Lounge in the hotel was a nice area to enjoy drinks with friends and share appies. The indoor pool area was well lit, family friendly and clean.

For the last 14 years we have always stay at this hotel. Great service, clean hotel, just 20 minutes from West Edmonton Mall. But in a quite and beautiful place. Not to mention their breakfast and swimming pool with a water slide are perfect for a family stay. I will recommend this hotel with all my heart. There are other hotels but this one is worth checking it out .

Very good place to stay. I would stay again. The continental is typical be nice to have a bit more variety but it not the worst either. Nice lounge. The area is a nice location close to everything but still out of the city.

We stay in this hotel often to meet up with family. Our kids love the pool, it has a splash area for the younger ones and a deeper area with a slide as well. Breakfast is always great with a good variety. Very friendly, helpful, accommodating staff at this hotel as well. We plan in frequenting this hotel for years to come.

Stayed here for meetings and as always the room was clean and comfy. The breakfast always has so many choices and is always fresh. The check in and out was handled professionally and efficiently. There were two hockey teams staying at the hotel and I was concerned that it would be a loud night. There was no noise after 11 p.m. and I had a good night's sleep.

Happy with the hotel! This is the second time we stayed. The staff wasn't as friendly as the time prior but it was still decent! Everything seemed very clean. Breakfast could have more options, moth mornings were the exact same fishy egg tasting things! But overall it was good!

The room was fantastic and the bed was unbelievable great. The host was quick and efficient. Breakfast was well organized and food was never short. I had a great stay and would come again. And I think the price for what I received was exceptional.

We spent 3 nights at this location. Large modern lobby. Very tastefully decorated. Also a big area for breakfast and coffee off the lobby. Our room was huge with a king size bed couch, sink with plates and cutlery, free WiFi etc. Bathroom was big and spotless. Had a great sleep there and was fairly quiet. I would recommend this hotel.

Overall pleasant experience and would recommend this hotel. The location is in close proximity to all amenities. The staff was friendly upon arrival and throughout my stay. There is plenty of space in the rooms.

I stay here regularly, and it is a phenomenal hotel. Excellent staff, immaculate rooms, dependable internet, and a fantastic hot breakfast. I have never had a negative experience here, and would highly recommend it for everyone! The pool area is very nice, and is salt water, which is a bonus. For the price, can't be beat.

Made the mistake of booking online and for wrong dates. The lad at reception booked us a room and let me know how to cancel the other booking and gave us a better deal and room. Very big - luxury room. Enjoyed the pool and restaurant /bar. Breakfast was a bit of a miss for me it was just too busy with small selection but it was free. Great stay over all.

Everything was very good, the room was very nice and the breakfast was good, and lots of different food choices, It was to bad I did not have time to enjoy the inside pool area. I just had a short stay and I would recommend the Best Western Sunrise Inn & Suites to anyone.

I great rooms with lots of space. Nice pool for families with slide and a mushroom, be prepared to have them cleaning it at putting chemical in 15-30 minutes before closing. Breakfast had a great selection and very clean.

We stayed for 2 night, got an adjoining rooms. Both rooms are very spacious, 2 queens and 1 double pull out per room, a coffee table, microwave, mini fridge, wet bar, plates spoons utensils. It was great. The pool is great, could use a mild cleaning. Kids had fun with the waterslide and mushroom water structure. Adults enjoyed the hot tub. Breakfast was plentiful your normal offerings + sausages, or scrambled eggs with toppings, the protein items rotate. Good Value for your money. Lots of parking.

Stayed here for one night as my husband's employer put all employees up here after their x-mas party. It was very clean and modern. Our room had a mini kitchenette. Full toiletries, bath robes and slippers provided. Loved the pictures on the wall which were old photos of Stony Plain from many years ago - a nice touch compared to the usual generic floral or landscape scenes in most hotels. Full self serve breaki including eggs, bacon, sausages and the make your waffle machine, plus all the usual cereals, yogurt and fruit. The front desk personal were friendly and helpful. The x-mas decorations were lovely. A very nice stay.

Maureena was very accommodating on the phone when we made our reservation. Our grandchildren loved the pool with a waterslide, mushroom, and hot tub. My husband enjoyed the steam room, best ever, which heated quickly. Beds were comfy. Breakfast service was excellent! However, the outdoor car plug-ins did not work for the minus 40 temperature. Our car barely started the next morning.

Definitely a nice relaxing Holiday atmosphere in a beautiful town. The response to any and all requests by employees was awesome. Not as forthcoming perhaps; however, very nice, professional and pleasant.

A gorgeous room with everything we needed! A spacious bathroom with two sink, a wonderful jetted tub to relax those sore muscles, a bed so comfortable I thought I was home, 6 perfect pillows, 2 tv's, and so much more! Even better, we were short for the deposit due to a stalled payment to my credit card, the the sweet, understanding gentleman at the desk reduced the deposit to $100, God bless him! Thank you Best Western! We will always be loyal customers as long as you always provide the exceptional service and accommodation! Love ya!

Noise was appalling in the banquet room under our room ! No offer to change our room when we called down about the noise ! They didnt acknowledge our membership upon check in ! The discount they gave us in the morning wasn't what we were lacking ... it was the sleep we wanted not a discount !!! Insulted again

Excellent facility. Staff friendly and accommodating. Service was good. Would recommend this Hotel to anyone. Ample parking for any size of vehicle. Lounge was pleasant to be in with friendly staff. Facility was neat and clean. Room amenities included bath salts as well as all the standard issues.

came out of necessity for business, but was pleasantly surprised at everything the hotel had to offer. During a two night stay I enjoyed: complimentary breakfast fitness center pool/hot tub business center the bar all were wonderful. the pool has a great slide...great for kids, or kids at heart ;) close to everything: starbucks, great food, any services you could need. half off house wine on thursday nights, what more can I say

I quite often stay at this hotel rather than driving an additional 15 minutes and spending an addition $50. Great value for the money spent. They not only offer a fair rate for their rooms they also offer a better than most breakfast included in your rate.

Everything from check-in, room, amenities, breakfast, checkout was excellent. I was pleased with the cleanliness of the facility. The staff were helpful and courteous. I have stayed her multiple times and will continue to in the future.

We stayed for a weekend for a local tournament and were very happy with our choice. The check-in and out was good and the staff was friendly throughout. Great room, well appointed and clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Pool area was quite good as well.

We had a wedding close to Stony Plain and this was about the closest hotel we could find. The room was very spacious, comfortable and quiet. We were delighted with the plush bathrobe and slippers for wearing down to the pool. The hot tub and steam room were our real interests, though the pool was nice for cooling off in between. The breakfast was excellent, a great start to the day! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for quality accommodation in the area.

The Best Western in Stony Plain is a great place to stay, friendly helpful staff. Rooms are very clean and have all the amenities that you would require. Stayed 2 nights with family, the pool was just right for the kids. Breakfast is the best I have ever had.I would recommend this place to stay if you are ever visiting in this area.

Reservation was 2 queen room. Large kitchenette included with plates and cutlery for 2. Wine glasses. Clean hotel. Nice water area for kids. Staff friendly. Only wish would be shower gel instead of soap bar.

I have stayed here many times for business in the last couple years, and I don't stay anywhere else when I come to Stony Plain. The staff is great, the rooms are great, the pool is great... I could go on. I have never had any sort of issue, and the breakfast goes beyond the standard continental breakfast. The beds are always comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful. Keep up the good work!

This hotel is great value and is just a few minutes west of Edmonton. It seemed to me that they had improved the breakfast since my last stay and it is now at a very good level! Only complaint is that the pillows are not as soft as I like (but that is being really picky!).

Reception was awesome and bent over back words to help. Rooms were large and comfortable for three adults. Some noise from the Hall way by kids, but front office soon had it under control. Not far from Safeway and the Sawmill. Great Place to Stay!

Stayed here this past weekend for a wedding, and I do have to say I was pleasantly surprised. This is a very nice hotel. Banquet room was large and very nice, hotel rooms nice and completely stocked. The rooms got a tad hot, our ac was a little loud during the night but really the only complaint I would have here. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the location for the hotel was extremely convenient. I'd recommend this hotel and I'd definitely stay here again if ever in the area again. Parking lot is huge and also conveniently located to shopping nearby.

Lots of parking and friendly staff. Good location. Good breakfast and amenities. Decent suites. On site restaurant. Could use an Ice Machine on the second floor, otherwise update the books and take it out.....would stay again.

We were doing a 1000 KM timed ride & chose this hotel for our stay over.It was easy to find,the sawmill restaurant was next door.The staff was very kind,no problems with check in / out.The rooms were perfect,nice decor,very very clean,had microwave,sink etc.The pool & hot tube were the best.After riding all day it was nice just to relax & soke Breakfast was good-could have had a little more to chose from. This hotel is very well laid out. Besides a restaurant on the premise you also have a lounge. The hotel check in receptionists are both professional & friendly. The rooms are large and comfortable. The beds are comfortable with many pillows to choose from. The breakfast area is kept clean & tidy; there were many food selections to choose from. The only lacking item was a microwave in the immediate area. However, staff are very willing to microwave your hot instant cereal. The check out staff are again professional, efficient & friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel if staying in Stony Plain.

We love this hotel and stay here a great deal as a family get away. The staff is excellent, rooms very clean, great pool with a slide and hot tub and breakfast in the morning..who could ask for more? Oh yes free wifi too. This hotel never disappoints.

I was surprised by the large size room. It looks like one of the timeshares you can rent out of the country. Bathrooms are upscale with Tiles floor to ceiling in the tub side of it. The counters are roomy. There is a wet bar that has a coffee maker, fridge, sk, a few dishes and utensils, microwave and coffee maker. There is also a large cabinet, a chest drawer, a work desk, a futon sofa, a coffee table, and 1 bed side cabinet. Aircon works well. Lots of good quality pillows. I sudgest adjoining rooms if your travelling in groups. Sound proofing between the rooms are great. I deducted 1 point for there is still room for improvement: Breakfast is good but We have seen better in a Days Inn, and Best Westerns In Calgary. The front desk are a little slow to tend to people, the lady that worked at the breakfast bar looks overworked the hotel could use another person in this area, an overworked worker is not a happy worker and this reflects at the customer service they provide. The quality of the coffee is not very good. Most hotels serves starbucks now a days.I find this hotel a little pricey, some hotels with better breakfast are about $30 cheaper.

This hotel is an example of why we try to stay at a best western plus hotel if one is available. The price is usually fair , locations are in safe secure areas with good access to services, shopping and easy access to and from highways

Great Pool with Water Slide and Hot Tub. Clean Hotel with all the required conveniences, Bath Robes & Slippers in room. Nice restaurant next store (Sawmill Steak House) for a change of pace from Hotel restaurants. Super great free breakfast!

This hotel is always very clean. Breakfast is great in a decent sized room. Nice pool for kids. The beds are comfy and overall the property is well maintained. You can tell that the owners care about their business.

Great hotel and very friendly staff. Would definitely stay there again. Nice pool and very clean facility. If you want a restaurant and don't want to leave the hotel then they have one. Easy to get there just off main highway but still quite.

Warm pool - great for little kids Breakfast included in the low cost. We were there on a very busy weekend and the breakfast room was a bit overwhelmed, but the food was tasty. Staff had to be asked to provide towels for the pool area and took quite a while to do so. Otherwise had a great stay.

Great hotel. Quiet location. Big breakfast set up and sufficient selection and amounts. Great pool and hot tub as well the fitness facility is well maintained. Rooms are quiet and very spacious. Love Best Western.

Stayed 2 nights recently in this hotel. We were very impressed with the rooms, the front desk staff, and housekeeping. We had to change rooms the 2nd day due to a water problem below us that required turning off the water to our room also. We were given an even nicer room just down the hall. In the process of changing rooms, I left my cell phone charging on the desk in our old room by accident. Contacted the front desk, who had housekeeping locate my phone and move it into our new room and plugged it in for us. Excellent service from start to finish. Breakfast was great with eggs, waffles, muffins, and more to choose from. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again if in Edmonton

After staying here I'm going to have to consider Best Western hotels during my travels. Front desk is modern with friendly staff, hotel is clean to the point of looking brand new. The hotel room was clean and stocked with a wide variety of higher end bathroom amenities. The room even had bathrobes and slippers! There was a wet bar as well as a fridge. I didn't think it could get better until I visited the breakfast area in the morning. Hands down best stocked "free" breakfast I've experienced. There was no time to see the pool or the exercise area but based on the rest of the hotel I'm sure they are great. Thank you for making my stay great!

Come here every year for the Great White North Half-Ironman and am never disappointed. Entire place is great from the moment you arrive until you leave. Centrally located and very close to everything, including Edmonton. Fitness facility, pool and on-site laundry were great. Breakfasts never let you down! Room was big enough to host a small birthday party for one of our group. Great stay and will be back next year.

Hotel was clean, rooms were spacious and comfy but a little dark even with all lights on. Hotel is located right next to many places to eat, a grocery and convenience store. There is a nice walking trail right there and if you are into geocaching there are a few caches within walking distance.

This is a very modern motel with large rooms and is very clean. It is quiet and has lots of parking. The service is great. It has a great continental breakfast as well as a lounge . The lounge is not open on Sunday but the sawmill restaurant is right next door and it is a good place to eat.

You don't need to head on into Edmonton for an excellent hotel. I've traveled North America and stayed in numerous hotels over my life time. This location exceeded our expectations and that doesn't happen often. Great easy going staff, the suite with double queens beds provided more than enough room. Check in was quick and accurate as well as check out.

Great breakfast, awesome pool and friendly staff. The best components for Grandma to have with her grandchildren. THANKS BW for offering such a great place for children and families to stay. We loved having lots of food choices for breakfast. Maybe call down for the least busy time since it is quite crowded. The pool has a water slide, watering mushroom, hot tub, and steam room. Lots of towels, 2 housecoats and even slippers provided. Staff exceptionally friendly.

The room is very nice and large, very clean and were able to relax with the bath salts. Beautiful deluxe breakfast, can't go wrong...The only bummer that they have only a Lounge Bar at the Hotel, Sundays they are closed. They need more waitresses as the girl was running her feet off and we had to wait very long to get our food and at the end did not get my specialty coffee. None of her fault but they need more staff on board....Will come back...

Excellent hotel although we felt second grade grade as we used airmiles to book our stay. we stay here often even though we live within 20 minutes of the hotel A great staycation. Food in the Library lounge was awesome and there was a drink coupon in our room and one for food with our room keys!

Had a terrific stay! Quick check in with friendly staff who changed our room so my son could be on the top floor. The rooms are nice and clean. My son loved the water slide. The breakfast was above average. Will definitely be returning!

I found the breakfast provided by the hotel to be one of the best I have seen. My complements to the staff, very clean, well presented and good quality - did not cheap on food items, such as eggs, potatoes and garnishments. As well, friendly staff at the front check in counter.

Went to Edmonton for the long weekend to catch a concert. Once again we stayed at the Best Western in Stony Plain. The room was excellent, breakfasts were good and the pool very relaxing. All staff were pleasant and accommodating. If you are travelling with kids this hotel is a good choice.

I have stayed at this Best Western several times and have always had a very good experience. The breakfast is second to none with a wide selection both hot and cold. Staff are very courteous and professional.

I previously wrote how much I like this hotel but for some reason my four and five stars reverted to one star. Sorry about that, I have no idea how to correct. Staff are very attentive. The breakfast is superb. The rooms are large and very well thought out.

While taking a two-week road trip through the area, I stopped at the Best Western Sunrise Inn at Eagar, AZ. It was a nice upscale motel on a quiet street. The steam room/sauna was especially welcome after a long day's drive. The bed was very comfortable, and the wi-fi connection was very fast. The next morning's free breakfast was also very filling and tasty. I would recommend this motel to anyone who finds themselves in this part of Arizona.

Twice annually I spend eighteen days on the road for work. This hotel is my favourite, it is like coming home. I love the beds, the staff, the quiet, the robes and slippers. I look forward every trip to my night at the Stony Plain Best Western

I thought this hotel provided great value for the cost. Nice spacious room with some convenient amenities like a fridge, microwave and sink. Also nice you can take a beer from the lounge to your room to enjoy. We had a problem with our A/C unit not working and it got way too hot. We got moved to a different room with no issues

New hotel close to Trans Alta Tri-Leisure Centre. All kinds of restaurants shopping near by. Short drive to West Edmonton Mall. Very clean, large rooms and bathrooms. Pool with a water slide and a restaurant.

Great spot for a family stay. Kids enjoyed the pool and very welcoming and accepting of our service dog. Very positive experience. They even have a relief area for dogs and provide bags for disposal. Close enough to stores if you forget a few items at home.

This hotel has a large 2 room suite, which fits our family of six very comfortably. We stay every year for our annual hockey tournament in Edmonton. They have an excellent breakfast, the rooms are updated and always clean!

there was nothing wrong with place but there was also nothing extraordinary about it I am glad that they allow pets as I do have a little dog I had one little problem with the front desk clerk and hoping that Best Western will deal with it otherwise everything was great

With the slow down in oil work this is an example of a motor hotel that is essentially one third off at all times. Above average physical plant for a Best Western. Very clean, upscale beds, large rooms, safe parking and an excellent breakfast.

This is a well kept, clean hotel with friendly staff. There are a couple of small restaurant's within walking distance if you decided not to eat at the hotel. The breakfast is the normal eggs, thin bacon, waffles, etc.., nothing out of the ordinary. The pool and weight room are nice.

We always stay here great hotel. Great value. kids love it with the water slide . Always clean and staff is always friendly. Breakfast is always good. Love that it is pet friendly. We will definitely be booking here again.

This is one of the nicer Best Westerns to stay in. Breakfast was excellent and did not use plastic and card board for eating with. Quiet, no Highway noice. Staff were all very helpful. Found it better than the one in West Edmonton.

We always stay here with our kids, this time came down as a couple to see a concert. Staff is always super helpful and friendly. Hotel was super clean and comfortable as always. Love staying here would recommend it time and time again :-)

Absolutely horrible. We got to the hotel and the room wasn't even cleaned yet, the rom service took almost 2 hours, and the staff were jerk. I will go out of my way to go to another place. We will never stay here again!

Helpful, friendly staff. Fairly new building, so when the hot water went out, and one of two elevators was out of service, things may have been a bit hectic for staff, but you never saw them sweat. Things were quickly put back in working order. We were there for a wedding and had a good group rate. We have a standard poodle. There are a few rooms for pets, $25 per night extra, seemed high, but oh well. Dog resisted the elevator, (he may have seen the out of order sign), and so the second floor room meant using the convenient stairs. Breakfast was good quality.

Nice place. New. Clean rooms. Staff friendly and helpful. Big parking lot.with lots of room. Good selection at complimentary breakfast. Fast food and steak house next door. Grocery store one block away. Good access off Highway.

We stayed in there lovely two bedroom suite. It is fantastic, the hotel is modern and well appointed. It has a good gym and nice pool and hot tub. The breakfast was fantastic, good staff. A lovely hotel room with two queen beds two bathrooms and living room kitchen hall way sofa bed. Totally recommend it.

I enjoyed my stay. The suite was better than expected! Even though the trip was for business travel, coming back to the hotel room after a long and tiring day was quite welcoming. The shower was fantastic and great water pressure...which typically is an issue in hotels I find. The beds are too soft for my liking, but it wasn't a surprise...all hotel beds are too soft for me! Overall, great property, great staff and no complaints! I would stay here again for business.

This was our second time at this Best Western and the staff are friendly and efficient as well as the premises are appealing and very clean. I left my GoPro camera in the room and they promptly mailed it out to me the next day. This hotel is good representation for the Best Western hotel brand and I would highly recommend it if you are in the area.

The library pub/restaurant totally a gem that is under-rated and under-marketed. Rest of place was do so. Staff were not very helpful and there is no shuttle service to Anywhere! You must take cabs which leads me to believe hotel gets a cut.

Stayed 4 nights for a family wedding. Very clean hotel...Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food for the wedding was spectacular! Breakfast was included, with lots of hot and cold choices. Waffles were to die for. Our suite was huge! Granite top countertops, full bar area, two bathrooms. Pool area has a slide, hot tub, and steam room. Well worth the money.

I have hosted a number of events at the banquet room and meetings rooms in the Best Western and been very pleased with the venues and the service provided. Our event guests have shared that they were impressed with the quality of the room and the food and beverages. The staff have been very accommodating and professional in planning and preparing for the events. I look forward to bring guests and clients here again.

Stayed four nights at the end of August/start of September as a family of 5 with 3 young kids. The hotel is wonderful, lobby is nice and clean, pool area was great for kids, and our room was amazing. We stayed in the largest room offered (quite large for a hotel) and it was perfect for our young family. We received great front desk service while staying, the breakfast and breakfast area were great everyday! Our only issue was that we only received a room cleaning 1 out of 3 days we were there after check-in, and we had to ask for that one. They seem to maybe be short staffed in this area. Thankfully the room was spotless on arrival. Overall an amazing property!

I travel on business lots, stay mostly in Best Westerns, and find them to very similar in amenities & quality. However this BW has an edge - it's a really nice property! Not much different than all the others as far as amenities, but they differentiate themselves with some little touches that are noticeable to a road weary business traveller. No plastic Saran wrapped cups to struggle opening - a couple of real glasses in the bathroom. Decent sized soaps, and my favourite - shampoo/conditioner/mouthwash in bottles with labels you can actually read! No more shampooing with the mouthwash! Big thirsty towels hanging within reach of the shower! A nice little on site restaurant & bar - great for that lonely "table for one" dining. However if you're looking for something a bit more upscale the adjacent "Sawmill" is a great spot. It seems they have their pricing spot on too - definitely great value for your money.

Travelling through Stony Plain en route home. Lovely hotel. Spacious room, complete with small kitchenette - not expected. Well kept indoor pool and hot tub. Nice hot breakfast. Quality and good price. Easy check in and out. Well lit parking lot. Easy access of main highway with conveniences of fuel and restaurants near by.

Decided to stay here as part of our Women's group wind up party. Stayed in one of the suites - beyond impressed with how clean and spacious it was. Loved how there were two bathrooms and how the bedroom was separated from the living room (which had a fireplace and a wet bar). Took full advantage of the hot-tub and pool (wonderful for kids of all ages) as well as the complimentary breakfast in the morning, which had no shortage of options. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

This is my favorite Best Western hotel in Alberta. Each time I am in the area I look forward to staying at your Hotel. It has easy access from the highway and is close to food and shopping outlets. The hotel itself is in pristine condition and is a pleasure to stay at. I look forward to staying at your hotel in the future.

Have been staying here for a few years whenever in the area and have always found it to be high quality. Friendly professional staff, clean, relaxing. Close (walking distance) to places to eat for everyone such as Original Joes, McDonalds, Boston Pizza, Starbucks (in Safeway) and easy to access gas stations. About 20 minutes to West Ed mall depending on traffic.

A little back story here...I was on an 18 day trip across the USA and Canada and I made this a stop for the night. WOW this is a nice motel and I bet one of the best nights sleep I had that whole trip. I can't say enough good things about my experience. I had to roll out early the next day which was sad because this place was great. The food in the restaurant/bar was good too. It hit the spot for me after a long day of driving.

OK - last week I reserved a BW near one of our branches in Edmonton. When I arrived at the BW there was no reservation to be found; that was when I discovered I had selected the BW in Stoney Plain (only about 20 minutes away) not the on on Stony Plain road! Anyhow - went there and what a pleasant surprise! - nice restaurant/ lounge (some good snacks served with your drink before dinner) and a warm breakfast buffet. Good prices, nice room and really a happy mistake. So much so, I had to go back to Edmonton this week and opted to stay here on purpose!

Highly recommend this hotel. The Queen family suite was spacious and well appointed, very impressed with the size. Having two bathrooms was just what we needed with 4 people getting ready every morning. The breakfast was great and the pool was a ton of fun for the kids. We will definitely use this hotel next time we are in the Edmonton area, it was easy access to the city and the country.

Every time I stay at a Best Western I am impressed, and this one did not disappoint: room quality, free breakfast, service, all great. My only concern is they may start to increase their costs with all of the great ratings. This one is off the beaten path a little bit but worth it.

Breakfast is amazing, pool and water slide clean and fun. The hotel was nicely decorated and beds comfortable. Staff was friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, value for the money. Plenty of amenities for the price. Great pool hours

This is a very nice hotel right off the highway. Six of us stayed in a suite, room 302. My husband and I got the sofa bed which was not comfortable at all! But what do you expect from a sofa bed? We phoned down and asked for an extra duvet to put on it and within 10 minutes our duvet was delivered. Next time I may ask for the fourth floor because I could hear the noise from the floor above (children jumping and yelling). The hot breakfast in the morning was very decent with scrambled eggs and sausages included. Their restaurant downstairs called the library also had good food and quick service. Overall I really enjoyed our stay.

We normally stay here at this hotel every year. In the past I have made some subjection about how they can improved. And, this time we noticed that they have made the necessary changes. So we were glad to see that fix. We enjoyed our stay here and is a beautiful facility. The breakfast also is really good. The staffs were nicer this time. So we were happy to stayed here. Looking forward to staying here next year!

I stay here most times when i visit the area on business and it continues to provide great value for the money. It's not a Hilton or Sheraton, but it has all the ammenities you could ask for. The rooms are very nice with fridge, microwave and coffee maker and the cleanliness was impeccable. There are 2 elevators that don't keep you waiting very long. There is a lounge which serves food and a lot of restaurents nearby for more variety. There is a breakfast buffet with the usual hot/cold items. Nothing special, but a good start to the day. They have a fitness center and indoor pool with a waterslide, which I didn't use, but the families there were having a lot of fun. All this stuff is good and you can get it at other hotels, but the reason I keep returning is the staff always make you feel welcome and treat you like you want to be treated.

They are true to the Best Western brand they have nice clean rooms great breakfast well located. Just off the 16A easy to get in and out. Good eats not far away. I've stayed at many best westerns and this one is near the top.

I have stayed at many hotels because of work and I have to admit that this hotel ranks up near the top. The front desk staff always remembered my name and they were very accommodating. Room was large and clean. The on site restaurant was very nice and the food was good.

Bathroom needed some up grading and better cleaning....dirty corners on the floor and cracked tiles. Shower needed rechalking...but overall very clean!! Pool area was under maintance when I arrived but up and running by the next day...hot was still not functional though.

The hotel was very clean, friendly staff, I stayed here when the hotel was new and it still looks great today . I have also stayed in Best Western Plus that don't look as good as this hotel. I have recommended this hotel to many people.

This was by far the cleanest and quietest Best Western Hotel that we have ever stayed at. I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you really need a place to unwind and rest up after driving or working all day

Stayed 2 nights for a family wedding. The lounge closed a little early (there was about 12 people in there that were told to leave) which sucks. 12pm close on a Friday or Saturday is early. Also the lounge bartender/server could have been a bit nicer. Room was great. Loud kids in the hall at 8am, but that's not the hotels fault. Didn't use the pool but the waterslide looked great. Tons of parking. Breakfast looked really great!!

This hotel has it all! Excellent accommodations with all the amenities, and staff that obviously love their jobs and their facility. From the young man who checked us in and was proud of the appearance of the lobby to the breakfast room manager who cheerily greeted each guest, and helped the youngsters by offering "Waffles 101" to them so they wouldn't burn themselves or have the waffles break up while trying to get them out of the maker. Breakfast was varied and quite good. The room was in excellent condition and very thoroughly supplied with amenities. We stay in Best Westerns a lot, usually in "Plus" level hotels, and although this one does not have a "Plus" or "Premier" designation, the customer experience here is as good as any Plus we have been in, and better than most. The price was lower than most as well.

I love best western hotels. This one in particular is great for kids. It has a slide in the pool and hot tub that is not too hot. The breakfast is very simple. If you haven't stayed at a best western before I'll give you an idea. complimentary breakfast consists of muffins, yogurts, microwave bacon, found flat sausage, what seems to be microwave eggs with cheese, break, I think this one had a pancake machine or waffle machine can't remember, cereal and milk there may be some other minor things I missed but for the most part this is it. It's a buffet style and no waiters, just someone who will replenish low food items.

We did not expect the quality of accommodation, amenities, and facility for the price we paid. The atmosphere and furnishings in the room were far more than I expected for great with a great price. Meeting facilities were comfortable for the group. Complimentary breakfast was really good. Definitely worth staying here when coming to Edmonton & area.

Booked this hotel for the night through airmiles, needless to say the price was right. Stayed in a two queen bed on the 4th floor which was bigger than expected. Included a small kitchenette area with small fridge, microwave, single cup coffee maker and sink. Ample drawer space and a wardrobe, included a iron and board. Amenities were included in the bathroom, along with two robes and slippers. Enjoyed a comfortable sleep and no problems with the free wifi. The pool was larger than most I've seen with a slide and waterfall feature. Continental breakfast was typical. Close to restaurants and a shopping area and short (approx 20 min) drive to Edmonton. Front desk staff were polite, would stay again.

In fact the hotel charged much less for a room in June than we had expected. The facilities are wonderful. The pool still uses a chlorine system but the chlorine levels were not over used so it was very good - perfect for kids and adults alike with a slide and hot tub and steam room too. A VERY nice bar/lounge.

This place is my go to every time I am in the area. It is always clean and quiet. The breakfast is very good. I would stay again..It is nice to see they keep your information on file as it is a simple call to a room and I do not have to spend much time on the phone to do so..

I stay about 100 nights per year in hotels for my work and I've stayed at this site a couple of times recently. Both visits were great! Friendly staff, spacious rooms with plenty of desk space, comfortable bed and good temperature control in the room. The free breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold items. I like that they change out the hot items each day so you have some variety on multiple day stays. With my CPSA discount the price was good as well. If this hotel was in Edmonton I would stay here regularly.

This was our 5th stay at the Best Western Sunrise in Stony Plain. It has all of the amenities, and the pool is outstanding with a 'waterfall' feature for children that is unique. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

I stayed here with my family on June 4th. We picked this hotel because of the pool and good reviews. After staying here we thought this hotel was outstanding!!! The check in was quick and easy, the staff is very friendly. Our room was lovely, nice decor, clean, comfortable beds, great wifi. It was nice to have a bar in the room (sink, microwave, fridge) It was also a nice surprise to have lots of extras for us to use in the bathroom, including slippers, bath robes. We took the kids to the pool, the water was nice and warm. We all had an awesome time on the slide! The steam room and hot tub was also great! We played at the pool for hours. My kids were begging to go back the next morning. The breakfast was Above average! So thrilled with the food from waffles with strawberries/whip cream, fruit, yogurt, eggs, hash browns, sausage, muffins, french toast and so much more! The seating for breakfast is very large and we never had any problem finding a table. We loved this hotel! If you're going to Edmonton the short drive to this hotel is well worth the drive! We Can't wait to stay here again!!!

My 8-year-old grandson and I stayed here to be close to my uncle in Stony Plain AND because there was a water park in the hotel. My grandson had a ball there. And slept like a baby in the oh-so-comfortable bed.

The hotel was nice but nothing spectacular. The hallways and my room had a strong odor of cleaning chemicals which was a bit much for myself. In talking to other guests at the library lounge they also smelled the strong chemical smell in their room too. The rooms were clean. One hint if they put you next to the elevator ask for a different room. It wasnt until around 1030pm when I turned off the tv I noticed the gap under the door which let in a fair amount of light and sounds from the elevator and hallway. It was late and I was so tired I just put ear plugs in and went to sleep instead of asking to move rooms. The dinner in the library lounge was good. It was basic bar food. The breakfast was a basic hotel breakfast.

Great Hotel, Clean, Friendly, great comfy beds & pillows. Looked like a great pool area with fun things for the family. The complimentary breakfast was full of food, hot & cold and it was always fresh. Went next door to the Sawmill Restaurant for supper & there was a pub in the hotel.

We had planned a last minute trip to Edmonton but couldn't find a single room so we looked outside of Edmonton. We were blown away by this hotel. Clean, new, and amazing value. The staff were extremely friendly, the breakfast was fantastic and the rooms were perfect for a family of 5! The little things like housecoat and slippers were a nice touch. Pool was great and extremely clean! Anyone going to Edmonton should book here!

Stayed here for one night over the weekend. So many little extras included made it most enjoyable. To the housecoat and slippers, microwave with dishes and cutlery, to the wine glasses and real coffee cups. Continental breakfast was amazingly large with 2 types of eggs, sausage, pancakes, waffles along with the usual. The pool and hot tub were very clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely would go back.

Beds for splendid, suite was large with fridge etc. Staff was very friendly. The lounge service was first rate and the food was good. The supplied breakfast even had real pork sausages not the breakfast ones. You won't be disappointed with hotel.

I was staying in the Edmonton area for the Mothers' Day long weekend and chose the B-W Sunrise Inn, mainly because of the price. I was not disappointed ... in fact I was impressed with the quality of the hotel, the room, the high-speed internet, the breakfast menu, and the rate. I will definitely stay here again !

Loved this hotel to pieces! Excellent staff, breakfast, wifi, parking all included which made it so affordable. There was nothing that let us down here. Comfortable rooms, gorgeous rooms, pool, hot tub, laundry facilities, lounge, lots of parking.

Delicious breakfast,beautiful clean rooms, professional staff,and an overall very pleasant stay. It was a little further from Edmonton than I thought and longer pool hours would've been nice but we would definitely recommend and visit again.

I stayed in the hotel for my son's volleyball tournament nearby. We had a king suite room. It was spacious, clean, and well maintained. The bathroom was huge with a 2-adult tub. The living room was really nice, and the kitchen with the small fridge was perfect for our need. The hotel had a good fitness room and the pool area had a fun water slide (as well as Jacuzzi and steam room). The staff was extremely nice and breakfast was included every morning. It's situated near Safeway and Shoppers. Couldn't have a better experience.

This hotel is in a great location in Stony Plain. The rooms are clean and comfortable, however my bed was very firm and the pillows were a little to hard for my liking. I left the window open and was woken up by traffic noise but once the window was closed, there was no more noise. Excellent free breakfast and there is a pool with a waterside for the kiddies. There is also a small gym. There is a pretty cool lounge but it's only open Monday to Saturday so I was not able to experience it. Ample parking.

very clean and quiet., well equipped and staffs are very friendly.. it is convenient with amenity close by. but rate is a little bit high for small town. I will still suggest it if there is activities over there.

A good clean place to stay with children. The water slide was nice and also the whole pool area together with showers, etc. The staff was real accommodating and answered our questions and resolved an issue that we had. Would recommend it!

always stay at this hotel when in the area.........consistently great service and value for money. Menu in the bar has all the basics after a long hard day and not wanting to leave the hotel. The location gives easy access to main highways into Edmonton or further Wesr.

We stayed here back in October...realized I didn't post a review. Was a great place for my Daughters sleepover party, from the waterslide/pool to the breakfast ...it made this so easy... We booked the 2queen and sofabed suite, having a second bathroom was very handy too. Front desk was great they even let me checkin early to set up for the party.

It was my first time at this hotel and first time staying at a hotel when I come to visit family. The hotel is within walking distance which was even better. very clean hotel. super helpful staff and as a platinum member I was offered a room upgrade. the suite was such a treat even though i checked in late i took full advantage of the jacuzzi tub great way to unwind after driving for 3 hours. being a member has its rewards!

the beds were very hard so I didn't get a good nights sleep, the only other down falls were the hot water and the breakfast. the lady at the front desk that checked us in and also out was very kind and friendly the room she upgraded too was everything that I asked for.

Stayed one night here and was very impressed with the service at the front desk and the Sawmill being right next door to the hotel. The rooms are very nice with comfy beds. The free breakfast was very good, just like most BW I have stayed at hot meals and not just dry cereal. It was very good and I will stay in another king room again. I would recommend this hotel over many others in the area

Room was clean, staff was friendly, good breakfast. The pool is a great place to relax with the family. Only a short drive to Edmonton. I would definitely recommend staying here for leisure or business.

No problem with this hotel. They were very accommodating with early check-in. Good selection at breakfast; although a microwave would have been nice to heat up/cook the oatmeal and milk. Good selection of flavorful coffee in the room. Clean and super comfortable. Pool and water slide area was excellent for the kids.

Beautiful, clean and well-appointed with many features including a full real breakfast, not just a pile of muffins. Loved the king suites with separate bedroom and lovely jetted soaker tubs. The pool area with waterslide is bright and clean. All this make it an excellent choice but it is the friendly, helpful staff that take it to the next level.

I don't usually stay here but since I was just passing through, on my to Red Deer in the morning I chose to stay here for one night.Glad I did.... great place to stay at a decent price. There is also a Sawmill Steakhouse right next to it.The rooms are modern and clean. The breakfast area is big and the selection of breakfast foods is great. I would stay here again!

When I arrived at the hotel, the elevator was out so I had to walk up to the third floor with 4 kids, including an infant with my luggage. The front end staff were helpful and friendly but it still was very difficult. The rooms are nicely furnished but the housekeeping is poor. We have stayed here twice and the first time we found dirty underwear in the room and after they gave us compensation and were informed this is not the norm, we decided to try it again. This time we found an old sippy cup of milk and medicine on the bathroom floor and the play pen they gave us was very dirty with stains all over it. These are not safe things to find when you have a bunch of little ones. If you have kids, you will want to check the room before your stay.

The staff is friendly and helpful. We love the pool and how quiet the whole hotel is. The kids love the waterslide and the hottub is very relaxing. We normally get a suite and love the extra amenities with 2 bathrooms and a separate living area. We checked in a little earlier than usual but they had the room ready and were waiting for us to arrive. We went to the lounge once we got back from our day out in the city. So close to Edmonton without the big city prices.

Great hotel, great rooms, great staff, clean room, pool and hot tub were great as well and a free breakfast is always nice. easy access from highway and was right beside a great Steakhouse , The Sawmill.

My first choice for when I go to Edmonton Just would like to see housing keeping be a little more fussy. Breakfast is very well presented and food is very good eating area is very well kept. The service of the staff is very good, when I complained about the noise above us at 130 am it was dealt with very quickly. The following night no issues .

Pool is my kids favorite part of the stay especially with the shallower end and splash area. The rooms are very nicely appointed and quiet. the beds are fairly comfortable but the pillows are not my favourite.

This is a very nice hotel just outside of Edmonton that has great rates. Compared to the hotels within Edmonton this is a gem. Looks to be relatively new and is very clean and welcoming. Complimentary breakfast is awesome.

We stay here because it's pet friendly, and it's close to the city if we need to do any major shopping! Stony Plain has lots to offer...good shopping and good restaurants! The staff is very friendly and accommodating, with a nice continental breakfast! The rooms are lovely and big! I would recommend this hotel to anyone....we always enjoy our stay!

My family and I always choose to stay at the Best Western Sunrise Inn & Suites in Stony Plain, Alberta. Very nice and clean rooms. Love the pressure in the shower heads. lol My boys always enjoy the pool and waterslide and the hot tub. We highly recommend this hotel!

100% happy with my stay. Hotel was immaculate with a beautiful décor.Stayed at this hotel to take the kids to West Edmonton Mall. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and while the pool was big, it was clean and refreshing. Breakfast was adequate, with waffles, sausages, eggs, pastries, cereal.

great location, we were on other side of Edmonton...didn't have to drive through all the traffic of the city 1st thing in the morning...great hotel, breakfast had a lot to choose from, rooms were comfortable and clean

This is a lovely hotel. Newer, big rooms, lots of amenities in bathroom. Mini kitchenette with 3 different types of coffee. Comfy beds. Friendly front desk. Also has a hot breakfast and lounge /restaurant on site,as well as fitness centre and pool. Decent price for what you get!

Great hotel at a reasonable price! Felt 'upgraded' compared to many hotels I've stayed at while on business (without the 'upgraded' price)! A few minutes west of Edmonton but worth the short drive. Breakfast was OK but room for improvement.

love this hotel because It is new and clean! But we've stayed here 4 times now and every time there were no towels in the pool area, also the ladies in the breakfast area should not be refilling food items before its needed especially when it's not busy, one of the girls looked annoyed as she waited with a tray of waffle mix for my husband to finish up with his waffle- there's nothing worse then feeling rushed when you don't need to be! I love that this hotel offers bathrobes and slippers in every room. Our kids love the pool with small water slide. There is an attached lounge that offers a small but seemingly good food selection, although I can't say if it tastes any good as we have never ordered from there. The front desk staff are very professional and friendly at the hotel and the room beds are comfortable but one major disappointment that I must mention are the pillows, they are all thick, way to thick, I know most hotels offer a thin and a thick but not this hotel, and that has been my experience every time, so maybe bring your own pillow, or else risk a sore neck. To bad!

Our wedding reception was in the banquet room. The staff were amazingly helpful during the set-up and clean-up. The food was absolutely delicious - would highly recommend this location to anybody looking for a reception facility. The only minor glitch was there were no risers available for the head table, so we had to bring our own.

This hotel is quite new so the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The pool area is great for kids with a fun water slide. I enjoyed relaxing in the lounge that was very relaxed and comfortable. This is my hotel of choice in Stoney Plain.
