I was very pleased with this Best Western location. Quiet. Clean and good staff. Convenient to Downtown - wasy to find. VERY affordable. I was very happy with the value and the room. Comfortable beds. Spotless breakfast area. Great water pressure for my shower. The hotel was very clean overall. I will not hesitate to stay again, and recommend it without reservation.
When I came in she was on her cell phone FaceTiming or video chatting who spouse I guess , when asking the price for the room she acted as if I need to hurry because she was ready to go back to her call . I told her I couldn't do stairs due to a recent surgery and she said oh well I can put you down stairs then and she put me all the way to the end , after checking in she went back to her phone giggling and saying cuss words . The room I had smelled of mold , the bathtub was disgusting and from the looks of it they keep trying to cover the tub with a gel like substance to cover the rust and mold and cracks , it time to replace that tub , the floor was slippery and nasty my socks are pitch black . The sheets had holes in them and the towels have seen better days as well , the back board of the bed had hand prints on them and smears how nasty , you don't have to worry about me returning I'll be going to the BRAND NEW HOLIDAY INN DOWN THE STREET AND IT WILL BE CLOSER TO THE HOSPITAL FOR ME . Also housekeeping knocks on the door before check out . The ice machine has mold in it pieces of ice had mold particles coming out with it . Oh and one of my towels looked like they just refolded a dirty towel instead of washing it . This place is nasty and not worth the money . The breakfast was nasty how do u mess up on that the eggs over cooked the presentation was horrible the milk. Was sour and the cereal was stale . The only thing you can eat there was the oatmeal but who has time for that to make it when u have appointments
Terrible customer service at the reception desk! The free breakfast was not good at all. I have stayed in many hotels this year and a decent amount of Best Westerns and this was by far the worst. It is not at all worth the money. There was a ton of glass in the parking lot so be prepared for that. Bed was comfortable, but pay attention to the missing tack strips because the nails do cut your feet!
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! They lady checking me in didnt tell me about the $100 hold -- and when it came up on the screen for a $200 total(room was only $100) i asked her why it was soo much, and she was nothing but hateful about telling me about the charge. I get to my room, and as soon as i open the door, the odor from the room slapped me in the face. It was awful. The room was dusty. The sheets were clean but they were dingy, faded, and very thin. The towels in the bathroom were the same--and when you put your face in the towel to dry off, you could smell a awful odor in the towel. It was a awful stay and i didnt sleep bc of these conditions. I will NOT stay at this BW ever again, which is sad, bc i travel alot to little rock.. but i will not be back.
We came here for four nights and have had a terrible experience. Two out of four days the room was not cleaned. Had to chase down towels (thin as paper) toilet paper and other supplies for the room. No success getting the employees to have the manager call us…..and he doesn't answer our call! STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!!
This hotel deserves 5 out of 5 but i gave 4 ONLY because an elevator is need to accomodate the elderly and handicap. It was hard getting my mom up the stairs in addition to have carry luggage up the stairs as well. Otherwise, excellent property.
I Love staying at this hotel, staff are kind, helpful and very respectful. This is my go to Hotel when I'm in the North Little Rock area. The breakfast is good. I enjoy the amenities. The Argan oil hair/shower products are awesome.
They only had stairs, ac in our room didn't get any cooler. Breakfast was terrible and couldn't find the breakfast worker. For 100 a night I expected better. The tv was stuck only on the food channel.
Recommended by a friend. A little off the beaten path but worth it. Let's talk about what matters: Lobby was clean and modern and front desk clerk was prompt and friendly. Atmosphere felt safe. Hallways and room are modern and seem to be recently remodeled. King bed room was super spacious and clean. Modern decor and furniture and a/c worked well. Bed was comfortable. Shower head was amazing with excellent water pressure and temp. Fitness room was clean with several cardio options and a weight machine. Breakfast area was clean and modern with a bright decor. Variety of breakfast items with great detail paid to keep warm things warm and cold things cold as needed. Highly recommend and we will be back I'm sure. Oh outside pool area looked well cared for and clean but we did not use it.
There is so much I could say in detail but I'll make it short. THERE IS NO ELEVATOR so if you are large in size or have back or knee problems, I hope you see this because they do not tell you before check -in. On your way up the stairs, you will enjoy a nice HOT MOIST walk due to there being no ventilation. The room was HOT and the a/c took forever to cool it on a 100 plus day in Arkansas., it was clean and I am thankful for that. The breakfast is ok, DO NOT EAT THE SAUSAGE unless you like plastic or rubber, and you better get there early because the staff gets irritated and they start cleaning up early. The WIFI will not connect and I wasn't even provided the password so I had to use the business center to print my work off.
This hotel was very clean, easy access to interstate, many nearby restaurants, plenty shopping venues, comfortable bed, friendly staff, and a good breakfast. We were only in town for one night but have decided that this is the hotel we will book for future trips to this area.
poor stay room had ants. bathroom poor, toilet very small ,shower low almost impossible to use for taller people. had to use interpreter to get house keeping to do anything in room none spoke english and the ones that did were almosy imposible to understand. staff parked under overhange by front door making it impossible to get around when got there to check in.
The hotel appeared to be very clean. I stayed two nights. The first nights sleep was very good but the second night I had small bed bug bites on my upper arm which it's very bad and don't plan on eating breakfast there you'll have to go down the street and eat at Golden corral because the breakfast there is very small and limited items. I had a lot of trouble with the remote for the television. I couldn't turn it off with the remote and I couldn't turn it on with the remote. The refrigerator in my room was up as high as it could go, but still not keeping my shoulders, and in my room, snacks cold I think that I could have made a better choice in hotels .
The hallway on the second floor and entrance vestibule was around 80-85 degrees. Toilet in the restroom leaked. Al three staff I encountered treated me the same, without any care in the world that I was there. Might as well stayed at the "Hobo Inn." Bedroom and linens were clean, excluding the leaking toilet though, so I appreciated that.
They double charged me for a stay and now refuse to refund it despite multiple calls and emails. I have stayed here multiple times because they have Tesla destination chargers, but I won't stay here again. I can understand making a mistake, but their failure to communicate about it and fix it is unacceptable. Also, when I checked in, there were dirty wet towels in the bathroom.
Not able to sleep at all. Pillows were lumpy and stiff. Mattress was really hard and uncomfortable. Hotel was very clean. Staff was friendly. We checked in around midnight and packed up to leave around 6 AM. Just couldn't sleep and gave up after 5 hours
I pre-paid for my room in cash, so I would not have this on a card. The woman behind the desk apparently pocketed my cash and tried to charge me again. When I called the cops, the manager said they would honor it and not charge me. When I checked my card, they had charged me again. CROOKS!
Pros: Clean rooms and facility Comfortable bed Cons: The lady that checked us in didn't explain anything. It was shift change & she seemed more interested in clocking out. We were traveling across several states & had big suitcases and other bags. We were given a room on the 2nd floor. We were never told that this building has NO ELEVATOR. After wondering around and not finding an elevator we made our way back up to the front where the man at the front desk was nice enough to give us a room on the first floor. There were no washcloths or hand towels in the bathroom… So my husband had to go to the front desk to get that so we could shower. Then about 9:43 AM the following morning one of the housekeeping staff was nice enough to just barge in our room without knocking and without announcing herself. The door to our room was missing the extra lock on the inside so she was able to just use her key and walk right in. I think the staff needs to work on communication and It's extremely rude to just use your key and walk into a guest room without even knocking or announcing yourself
This is a older hotel, well maintained. It is set back off the main highway, which I like because it is quieter. Rooms are always very clean. AC works flawlessly which is a must for me. Beds are comfortable and clean. Good lighted parking areas all around hotel. I recommend that you give them a try.
Room was infested with bedbugs. The owner bob and front desk worker Dee yelled at me and put me out of the hotel bc of my complaint about the bedbugs infested in my room. The mattress and box spring was covered in bedbugs. I have so many bites on my body from them. I had to trash all of my clothing and they got in my car they were that bad. When told about the complaint the owner never tried to solve the situation. I have everything documented.
The staff was professional and accommodating, and that made my stay a great experience! The facilities were exactly as described and very comfortable. I would've loved spending at least a couple more nights here, but I was traveling for business and couldn't.
Room smelled of mold. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Bed was comfy & shower water pressure awesome. Breakfast was limited, but ok. Located on a 1 way street, so difficult to get in & out. Parking lot super dark. Lots of car charging ports, but didnt so not sure if they work.
I was initially apprehensive to book after reading reviews and owner's responses but I went ahead and booked due to the location and price. It was a comfortable stay. The rooms need updating but they were clean and comfortable. location is also close to many restaurants.
Warning: This hotel charges an ADDITIONAL $100 up-front deposit. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. The check-in staff was not actually rude, but not overly friendly either. Breakfast was minimal. We have stayed at several Best Western Plus hotels for less cost. We will check for other facilities for our next trip through this area.
Very clean and helpful staff that cleaned everything every day the only problem was the breakfast the biscuits were to hard to eat other than that it was good just needs a few more options on the breakfast menu.
Last minute plans made me book this hotel. It was available and within 10 minutes of the Simmons Bank Arena where we had tickets to a Saturday night show. It was clean and convenient and easy to get to off of the highway.
The property has two stores floor and no elevator. I think they should state that in the website when you make the reservation you could be in the second floor and ask if this is a problem for you. Then you decide to stay or choose another facility. I'm sure some people doesn't care about that but for me it was a bad surprise. Christmas time no other options for me.
When my wife and I arrived, everything was clean and nice looking. This property also has EV charging for any guest with an electric vehicle. Overall, my stay was wonderful. If I had more money, I'd have no problem staying longer.
I had stayed here while working in North Little Rock. The hotel is an older building, but well maintained. The hotel lobby, breakfast area, and guest rooms were all very nice. The only complaint I have is, no elevator. For a simple overnight stay, not a problem, but when you stay for a week or longer, a elevator would be nice for getting luggage to the first floor.
We had absolutely no complaints. The staff was amazing at check in and at check out. The stay was great. No loud noises in or outside of the hotel. It is right off the interstate and close to many good places.
I don't normally do reviews on hotels but I had to do one on this hotel. The hotel was very nice very clean. I stayed one night. The front desk lady was very nice and friendly. Her name is Jessy she was so helpful I used my rewards and she was very helpful and patient with me. I will be back to stay there in the future. I recommend this hotel if u want a comfortable nights sleep cause the bed was soo comfortable.
I thought the staff were extremely friendly and the overall appearance of the hotel was really nice. My only complaint is the room key kept deactivating and the microwave was very old. It had a dial to choose how long to heat things.
This was our first stop on an extended road trip and we hope we like all of our hotels as well. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient to start. When we entered our room there was a slight odor of disinfectant, but we looked at that as a positive. Both the room and bathroom were spotless. the beds were very comfortable with a choice of pillows. Finally, a free hot breakfast was offered. The only downside was that it sits back off a one way service road and if you don't listen to you're gps it will take a few minutes to circle around again!
The hotel was no where near compactor yet my room was placed directly next to another room with 6+ adults partying, listening to loud music, and fighting until 7am. I could hear every lyric to every song, every word to every conversation and could smell the weed coming through the vents. I attempted to contact the front desk staff multiple times but did not receive an answer. I will not stay there again even if it was free.
The rooms were clean, hotel staff was friendly and very efficient and it was the closest hotel to the doctors office and hospital. I would and have recommended this hotel to others and will continue to do so.
I was disrespected by staff member Indian man at front desk cursed me out and called me a bitch because there credit card system was in default the hotel charged my card 2 times I have not received my refund and I am highly disappointed I was threaten at my room door 207 beating on the door scared myself and my husband I asked for a late checkout and they still knocked and beat on my door at checkout it was a experience that I will never forget how I was treated I don't recommend this hotel please don't stay here it was so uncomfortable
Used to be a good basic hotel and good value. Now it has poor management reflected in noisy ice machine, dirty bed comforter, ineffective air conditioner, and the worst breakfast options of any hotel I've visited in the past 12 months.
A big "out of order" sign on a broken coffee machine at breakfast?? Not acceptable for a hotel. Go buy a temporary one. Go do something. Actual hotel itself fine but come on. That's the most basic thing ever.
Quick check in and out. Comfortable, clean, quite up to date rooms. Bring your own plugin USB phone charger no USB ports in the room. None seen on bed- stand or desk power stations. If you want a quick breakfast before you hit the road again be sure to leave here a little early and eat somewhere down the road.
We stay at this location a few times a year and have always enjoyed it. The customer service is wonderful, the hotel is quiet and clean and in the perfect location for us. We will be returning for future stays.
The hotel is very clean and extremely quiet. The room was spotless, especially the bathroom and the towels smelled fresh. I liked the shower being equipped with dispensers. Breakfast was the only downside. I get the COVID thing, but maybe there could have been some choices of things other than a couple of wrapped sweet snack foods. The banana was the only nice touch to breakfast. Items could have been changed up each day too.
We have stayed here before and always enjoyed it. The hotel cost is lower than most around. It is always clean and comfortable. The front desk staff is awesome. They have such great attitudes, even though we are dealing with a pandemic (ugh). The grab-n-go breakfast is a good idea. The hotel is on a one-way road, so some logistical issues at times, but GPS helps a lot. We will stay here again I'm sure.
The hotel is located just off of the interstate, on a frontage road, so it was easy to get in and out. Several restaurants just down the street. We were attending a baseball tournament and the fields were close by. Just an overnight trip, but the amenities are pretty good. Nice pool, good internet. Only "inconvenience" might be that if you are out after hours, you cannot access the building unless you enter in through the front lobby. Great for security reasons, but not very convenient if your room is located by an exit door. Room was up-to-date. Great night of sleep. Breakfast would probably be excellent except due to pandemic, it was a grab and go sack.
This hotel was the closest logistically to the funerl home/cemetary where my family member was laid to rest. This Best Western had recently re-decorated, so it looked new. Room was clean, bed was compfy. I bobked it directly and used my AARP member discount, however, when i looked on line through trip advisor and booking.com, the rate was a few dollars less. A free breakfast is included, so we were surprised that dispite Covid-19 precautions, a Grab and Go breakfast bag was offered. it consisted of a Honey Bun, an apple, and a rice crispy treat. The juice machine was available, as well as condiments during breakfast time. The staff was constantly sanitizing the hallway, etc. I would stay at this hotel again.
This was a very good stay at an affordable price. The front desk staff was very professional and helpful. Even though we're going through a pandemic, and the breakfast option was closed, the staff put together a breakfast bag to take before you left the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.
This was the first time that we stayed at this hotel. The staff are very friendly and courteous. The hotel is clean and close to restaurants. We would stayed Weduring staythe time of the Covid-19 virus and the staff were continuously cleaning everything. here again.
Erica at the front dest was amazing from making the reservation to check out. She went above and beyond and rearranged rooms and called fellow guests to see if they would mind changing rooms to accommodate our fairly large group of 15 adults/teenagers. We are already planning on using Best Western Sherwood again next year!
Summary: - good value for the price - electric car charging (both Tesla and universal), but spots aren't marked and many get blocked - Clean and comfortable rooms - No plant-based options at breakfast except fruit Long review: My wife and I just went on a road trip from Chicago to Austin, TX, and back, and decided to make an overnight stop around Little Rock, because it was just over halfway from Chicago, and hotels were cheaper than in Oklahoma City. Because we wanted to save some time on the way, we were looking only at hotels with electric car charging (it's always nice to charge overnight and get into a car with a full battery in the morning, and hit the road without having to go charge up first thing). So, this Best Western's decision to host Tesla destination chargers won us as clients. Otherwise, it wouldn't have even come up in our search. It's good to see that more and more hotels offer this as an amenity. We stayed here both on our way to Austin, and on our way back to Chicago. Both times, check-in and check-out were reasonably smooth. The rooms were clean and comfortable. My only complaint there is that each room seems to have an alarm clock with a bright LED light that we could not find a way to turn off, so we resorted to unplugging the alarm clock so it wouldn't disturb us at night. The rooms have a mini-fridge that was large enough for us to store some leftovers and food we packed for the trip. The hotel does offer hot breakfast, but the only healthy, non-meat/dairy/egg options was fruit. Fruit is nice, but it certainly doesn't fill most people up. If you follow a plant-based diet, and like to eat a filling breakfast, plan to bring your own food or eating elsewhere. We did research ahead of time and brought our own cereal and non-dairy milk. Thankfully, as I said above, there was a fridge. Sometimes, drivers of gas cars and trucks park in spots with charging stations (I'm sure not on purpose). Some states have laws that prohibit that, but it seems like Arkansas does not, so it's up to the property owner. Unfortunately, the management of this Best Western does not restrict parking in electric car spots in any way. Given that all the spots near the Tesla chargers are right by the entrance, many of them end up blocked (or what most EV drivers call ICE'd, from “internal combustion engine”). We were wary of that, and called ahead to ask if a hotel employee could somehow reserve a spot for us next to a charging station. The night we stayed on January 30/31, I spoke on the phone with Candy. She was very friendly and understanding, and arranged for some cones to be placed near a charger. That proved useful, because the spot she blocked off for us was the only empty spot next to a Tesla Charger. There was another Tesla in the spot next to us, and all the other spots were taken by pickup trucks. The second night we stayed there February 3/4, I spoke to another employee, whose name escapes me. She was less eager to help, and simply said that there should be enough charging stations for us to find one even if most are blocked. While we did manage to get one, given that there were a total of 8 charging stations, I could anticipate a situation where half of the chargers get taken by electric cars, and the other half get blocked. Since we were looking for charging as one of the primary amenities, that would have been very disappointing. Since Tesla and the hotel spent money on these chargers, having them blocked doesn't make much business sense. I think a good compromise would be to mark the charging spots as priorities for electric cars, and ask owners of non-electric cars who park there to leave their keys with the front desk so that if an EV comes and has nowhere to park to plug in, the hotel can move the non-EV to another spot.
Arrived very late, the lady that checked me in was nice and helpful. The hotel is clean. My bed was comfortable. I did hear a lot of hall noise. I didn't eat the breakfast but it looked good and the area was updated and clean. Would defiantly stay here again. They let me check out at 11:30, which I appreciated.
This place is nicer than every Wyndham Hotel I've been at, and I've been to a few hundred of them. The people are nice ,the rooms are very nice ,the beds are nice, what more could you ask for? I recommend this Hotel
Least expensive hotel I could find that was still very clean and quiet. Stayed here before and am still convinced that BW is the best value out there. Ridiculous prices at other hotel chains with not much better amenities that I would rarely use.
The hotel is outside of north Little Rock. When I arrived, check-in was delayed. There were three other parties ahead of me because the computer was down. The location is quiet but not within walking distance of any place to eat. The hotel has many positives. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The building is attractive. The lobby is pleasing with a high ceiling and a balcony on the second floor overlooks the lobby. The room is spacious with a microwave and refrigerator. There is hot breakfast. There is a pool. Nice as it is, I would not have stayed here if I had known there was no elevator. No elevator! There were no rooms open on the first floor. There are 18 steps to the second floor, not easy for old people with bad backs and knees. Fortunately, the desk clerked carried my suitcase. The hotel is undergoing renovation and I was given a new room. The room was very spacious but reeked of “new carpet smell,” which are the volatile organic compounds released from new carpets. The clerk couldn't give me the only unrenovated room open, because I booked through Expedia and all changes had to be through them. The unrenovated room would have been another $30 a night too.
Stay here in the past this is my fourth or fifth visit but this one was a little bit disappointed due to the broken chairs TV remote and spider in the room my mom took a picture of the spider but no price adjustments not that we was looking for it we also ran out of towels..
this hotel was a huge disappointment for me. I'd checked trip advisor and thought it looked good enough on the over all ratings. ITS NOT! The property has had lots of money thrown at it in renovations, but it wasn't done well. There is no elevator. The pool was closed even though the temps were still in the 80s. The fitness center was 1/4 non-operational. The breakfast while abundant was only good if you consider a microwave gourmet. The hotel DID NOT FOLLOW FIRE CODE!!! by insisting on having the fire doors always propped open (the doors that are supposed to keep fire from spreading). The AC unit in our room wasn't draining right so we slept in what felt like a cool swamp. This is a 2 circle rated hotel, not a 3.75!!! Trip advisors ratings are wrong, old, or inflated.
I asked the hotel desk clerk how long the hotel had been there and he says at least since 2006, but you can't tell as it was awesome. It smelled great walking in. The room must have had new carpet as it smelled so good. Bed was so big and comfortable. Great amenities. Breakfast had good selection. I was going to take a swim but there were shot of leaves and debris in the pool so I didn't. One more thing I wish they had more secured entering in the side doors. It sent require a key card and anyone can enter. I loved the hotel for the price.
Great staff and cleaning crew were amazing and thorough. Would recommend to anyone even just passing through this area. Hands down beat out the nearby competition. Remodeling and upgrading all of the rooms.
PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE. The staff is so poorly trained and incompetent, and the rooms are so poorly ventilated that our sheets and clothing were constantly damp. You can read my full review, but i a nutshell, our reservations were constantly messed up, with phone calls from the front desk--even at 2:30 in the morning. And when I called the manager, she told me I was lying! That none of it had happened! I lodged a complaint with the corporate office, which would be forwarded to the owner and management and no one has contacted me! Worst customer service ever. DO NOT STAY HERE. *It took 10 minutes on the phone to get the agent to understand one reservation for 3 nights and one for a separate person for 2 nights. That should have been my first clue. *When we got there, they had not reserved ours for three nights. *We were not told about an authorization check-in needed for our guests until the 2nd one we made. *We were called in the middle of our son's rehearsal dinner to tell us our credit card was invalid and ask for the number--despite them having it on three other reservations and on our authorization form AND me standing right there at the desk when the guest checked in. It was still not resolved when we returned to the hotel and I had to go to the desk. *One guest had standing water all over their bathroom floor and a backed-up tub when they checked in and were told to just wait for maintenance rather than immediately changing their room. *One of our guests did not have sheets on their bed. *I made one of the reservations past the group rate deadline and in spite of having at least 7 rooms reserved for this party, they would not offer me the group rate. *The group rate was actually more than hotels.com (I found out too late). *THEY CALLED ON THE ROOM PHONE AT 2:30 A.M. ON OUR THIRD NIGHT THERE TO TELL US THAT WE HAD NOT BEEN CHECKED IN, SO NEEDED TO COME TO THE DESK IMMEDIATELY. Can you imagine? Being startled awake by a loud, unfamiliar ring, then having to dress and go to the front desk? Then try to get back to sleep? What kind of place would do that????? We were at this hotel for our son's wedding and will be visiting our new in-laws many times, but will never, ever stay at this hotel again.
Overall a good stay. Quiet rooms, nice staff, clean rooms, nice amenities. The only complaint was there was no elevator. Didn't get a chance to have breakfast but I'm sure it was good. No real complaints and would stay again.
The staff at this hotel were kind and very accommodating. The rooms were clean and it was honestly the most comfortable bed I've slept on in a hotel. The exterior of the hotel was clean and the interior was beautiful!
Super comfy stay, friendly staff! Erica at the front desk is aaamazing !! Breakfast was hot and delicious! Check in/out process was really easy! Housekeeping was really on top of things! Will definitely return soon!
Check-in was not what I expected from Best Western. The clerk didn't seem to care for the customer. I asked about my request for a ground floor room. The king room I had booked was not available on the ground floor. What hotel doesn't have more than one king room? There are two floors to this hotel. This hotel does not have an elevator. For senior citizens, this is not good. We had to lug our suitcases up to the second floor, one step at a time. The hotel is set back from the road. The pole sign is partially hidden by a tall tree which is full at this time of year. Access only by one-way road. We missed it the first time. The room did not smell fresh but somewhat musty. The breakfast is standard fare for Best Western; waffles, several cold cereal choices, a plain yogurt with topping options, mini-muffins, small sweet rolls, bread for toast, scrambled eggs, ham, bacon, biscuits (with sausage gravy if desired), hot coffee and tea, several juice choices and more. If you're willing to haul your suitcase up multiple flights of stairs, this is the right choice. Otherwise, I would pass it by.
Very clean and very comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Did not get a chance to use the pool or the exercise room but checked out both areas and they both looked well-kept. Well stocked breakfast in the morning. As previous reviewers have said, getting to it is somewhat tricky based on the design of US 167 and the elevated U-turn sections. Just pay attention to your mapping app and keep a sharp eye out.
We found the hotel to be clean and comfortable. It's a little bit tricky to get to it though. It offered a free breakfast that was typical. I would suggest it for anybody traveling . I believe it offered free HBO channels in the room.
When we checked into our room, the first thing we noticed was it was uncomfortably warm. The AC thermostat was set at 58 degrees, so I figured the previous occupants had issues. We reported to the front desk in person, about the lack of cooling. The gentleman at the desk stated no other rooms were available, they were booked and that he would take a look at it. We had a ballgame to attend and neither my wife or I held out much hope the problem AC would be dealt with. When we returned approximately 2 hours later, our first stop was the front desk to ascertain the status of the HVAC unit. The same man was still at the desk and he stated there was definitely something wrong with the unit, it seemed the compressor was going out, and that he'd changed it out. I wasn't sure I heard him correctly, so I asked him again and he assured me the unit had been replaced. My wife and I returned to our room, not sure what to expect, because these are the standard, large, HVAC units mounted in the wall. We noticed as soon as we opened the door that it was much cooler in the room. I checked the thermostat on the unit and lo and behold, it was a new unit. I was stunned. We have had issues before at places we have stayed, but never have we had a problem so seamlessly handled. This wasn't like a “no clean towels” issue, but rather a substantial mechanical repair that seemed to be completed with little or no effort, though I know different. We returned to the front desk with our thanks for the replacement and the man at the desk said it was no big deal and he was glad to be able to handle our problem. To say we were very impressed is putting it mildly. The whole site was neat and clean and all personnel were friendly. Though no elevator was available, there were plenty of stairs with solidly mounted handrails. The continental breakfast was very good and all items were kept fresh, hot and available. The other thing that impressed my wife and I, was the bed. We have stayed at more expensive hotels and resorts, but I'd put the comfort of this bed up against any of them. I mean dang, cold air and a comfortable bed, it don't get no better. Great job Sherwood Inn and Suites!
Located just off highway, but far enough to be quiet. Our room was clean, quiet & comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. Wifi was easy to use. Breakfast was average Hotel food, but good. They have an exersize room & laundry. They have a nice large outside pool. Staff on duty each day was friendly & helpful. They have several charging spots for Hybird Electric Cars. There is plenty of parking, but there was only one handicap parking in front.I have paid much more for Hotels not near as nice as this one. Will use again when back in that area.Several restaurants with in short driving distance.
The lounge decor and front lobby were well appointed and the staff was welcoming. Our room, on the first floor, was cold but "moist." (It seems the air conditioning was running constantly in an attempt to dry up the moisture. Our stay was during a period of much rain and flooding in the area and everything felt damp.) The ladies running the breakfast room were very helpful in cooking up fresh hot food for us. We were very appreciative. Breakfast was very good. We did have a reasonable nights sleep and find that Best Western's try to always give their guests a good experience
Great place to stay. Excellent staff that take good care of you. Mia and Candi will make sure you have everything you need and that everything is right. We stay here with a group from our school every year and they take good care of us all.
The front lobby, hallways and parking was very clean. The room looked nice and clean when we first walked in but the smell over powered us. The room smelled either moldy or like dirty feet. We smelled it the whole night into the next morning. They were completely booked so we couldn't get another room. The beds looked like clean sheets and pillow cases but once you turned back the covers there was dirt scattered all under the covers. We did request new sheets and pillow cases. I paid $136.19 for this room for one night with 2 double beds and they could at least gave us a room that didn't smell and clean sheets to sleep on. It will be highly unlikely that I will stay again.
My room was located on the first floor!! The hotel smelled amazing!! The decor was very beautiful! The staff was friendly and very helpful when it came to finding a place to eat!! The breakfast was amazing! I enjoyed every part of my stay!
The hotel is beautiful and very clean , the staff is very professional, and the breakfast was excellent. Overall great and very reasonably priced. Almost forgot to mention the beds were very comfortable.
This was one of the nicer places we stayed in and they even had a workout room. The downside to the workout room is, the lights are motion lights (which makes no sense). I was on the treadmill and for at least 20 minutes of that time, running in the dark, the lights went out. I was afraid to step off the treadmill in the dark, not being able to see to make sure I didn't trip on something. Other than that, it was a very nice place. We enjoyed our stay otherwise and my Service Dog and I enjoyed going out for our morning walk the next morning before leaving. Hopefully, they'll get the workout room lights fixed so people aren't working out in the dark anymore.
Safe area to stay in, shoooing and restaurants are close by. They have decent rooms that are smoking rooms. NO ELEVATOR in the hotel so if you have a lot of luggage be prepared to carry everything up a flight of stairs. Staff is very friendly.
Beautiful Hotel great location and wonderful staff. At this time the Hotel's handicap parking does not have a ramp anywhere near it. So it's a bit of an inconvenience for wheelchairs. They are alway accommodating with Service animals and the beds are soooo comfortable.
Decent location. Awesome beds and pillows. Solid breakfast offerings. Staff was very friendly. There is no elevator in this two story hotel. It's obviously not an issue if you are on the ground floor, but trying to haul gear up the stairs was not a pleasant ending to a hard day. No, this information is NOT noted on their website.
We enjoyed our stay. The beds were great and the room was spacious. A few tweaks we would like would be... the in-room coffee pot to be taken out of the bathroom and actually having fluffy scrambled eggs instead of folded eggs. Everything else was great!
The front desk staff here was WONDERFUL. Nice ladies! Rooms were nice, and had hot showers, coffee makers, hairdryers, iron/ironing board, nice flat screen tvs, I got a king-sized bed that was super comfie, and I felt safe. There were two best things about it, and I can't choose just one. The HOT TUB! Great jets that soothed my back pain, and it was nice! All cedar wood enclosure.... nice outdoor pool with rock walls... The other best thing was the breakfast! Belgian waffles, sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, etc. etc. etc. I got a great night's sleep, and I will definitely be booking this hotel again! Thanks! :) Great hospitality!
Good experience, friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast, variety of options each day, comfortable bed, extra large room, good location, clean environment, local paper each day, only problem small maintenance item not fixed
We stayed on two occasions with a group of business colleagues. The faculty was beautiful and clean. The entire staff were very friendly and extremely helpful! They made us feel at home and made sure we had everything we needed! Will be back soon!
My husband and I stayed 2 nights. It was conveniently located off the frontage road, and far enough away from interstate that it was quiet. It took forever to get checked in because there was a problem with the person in front of us and there were no other staff member on duty and it was mid afternoon. Finally after checking in we found a very nice, clean room and comfortable beds. However, after taking a shower that evening and before climbing into bed, my feet had a dark film. My house shoes were dirty and so were my feet. The carpet and bathroom floor was filthy with this black film. We later discovered why. The black was from the asphalt in their parking lot. I mentioned it to the manager and he informed us the parking lot was recently asphalted. I told him they need to clean the carpets and bathroom floors. Yulk! Also, the continental breakfast wasn't very good either. Perhaps all the hotels are now serving the same low quality continental breakfast. The continental breakfasts in hotels used to have tasty eggs, choice of bacon or sausage and good quality pancake batter. But not anymore. This hotel served bland scramble eggs folded over in sheets (in sheets? really?) sausage gravy (no bacon or sausage links) and tasteless pancake batter. Their pastry was pretty good, though. I rate this an average because my guess is all the hotels now are probably purchasing their foods from the same supplier. Best Western used to be known by the gold crown emblem indicating royal treatment if you stay at a Best Western - not anymore.
I was looking forward to this stay since I thought this was a fairly new hotel. Our room was spacious with a Kiing size bed & a little sitting area. The problem was the sofa was dirty with a hole in it. The bathtub had a horrible stain in the bottom of the tub. The faucet handle was loose. I always make sure my do not disturb sign is off the door & when I returned one evening my room was not cleaned. The front desk kept accusing me of not taking my sign down. Anyway that was not the case. The only reason I'm giving this a 3 is because of the lady doing the breakfast room was wonderful!
This Best Western property, like others we have stayed in recently, was excellent, spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and staffed with energetic, pleasant, and helpful employees. The hot breakfasts are really good. The only negative at this property is the extremely high pillow-top beds. They are so high that neither my husband nor myself could get on them without a struggle (we are 5'7 & 5'9). Once we got on them, it was extremely difficult to adjust our position because of the deep pillow top. This sounds ridiculous, but is true.
Nice, clean hotel. Courteous staff members. Breakfast had many options. The room was clean and it has Wi-Fi. Lots of channels for the kids to watch TV. We researched price before we booked and this hotel offers a great rate. We have used this hotel in the past and will do so again.
Very poor desk service by a few. Most desk people were excellent. Unfortunately an extremely rude and disrespectful night clerk and a rather unconcerned assistant manager have resulted in my decision to never stay at this location again.
We just finished a three night stay here. The room was clean and comfortable. We had our requests for extra towels and sheets fulfilled immediately. The pool is small, but clean and well maintained. The breakfast was average, but the breakfast staff was very helpful. Norma made my granddaughter a big fluffy waffle and it was delicious. This is a great bargain. Reasonable price and easy interstate access.
Best Western Sherwood Inn & Suites is very well located in North Little Rock. It is close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. It is fairly new and has clean, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. I would stay there again.
We have stayed at this property at least 2 times before and were very pleased. Clean, very good beds and the service has always been really wonderful. Both times before we were assigned to rooms on the 1st floor. So it never occurred to me to look for an elevator!! So the long version: We typically need 2 rooms with a connecting door -With 2 adults and 3 kids we generally need quick access to a 2nd bathroom! Whenever I books room I always include this need in the comment section AND call the motel on the day of check-in(about noontime when check-in assignments are being made) to reiterate the need. We were there for a 3rd time on April 13th - 15th. On this particular occasion we were forced to have a very late check in due to unforeseen travel issues. I called to relay that. I was told that would not be a problem but we would NOT have adjoining rooms! However we were in rooms next door to one another. While not very pleased, I didn't consider we had much choice. And the previous experiences had been fine. Upon check- in, To My UTTER Amazement after 2 previous visits, we discovered there was no elevator. Mind you...it was almost 2a and we had 3 kids in tow! At NO POINT in previous stays or (as far as I was aware then) did I ever see any mention of NO ELEVATOR in the Best Western website or Expedia's website. I feel this is negligible on the part of Best Western especially considering we do travel with handicapped individuals who would NEVER be able to meet such a challenge in a wheelchair. What if we had been trying to check in with THAT family member at 2am and told there was nothing available downstairs? I feel this should be amended and CLEARLY denoted on the websites. There are many great features about this place that might make up for this inconvenience. But not knowing THIS could ruin an otherwise lovely visit. Pls advise!
The staff was great when we checked in. The breakfast was good and checkout was quick . Beautiful hotel great experience. The room was clean and comfortable and the beds were comfortable. If you are ever in the Little Rock Arkansas area and need a hotel this is the first place I would recommend going to.
I'm laying here in room 114 after a sleepless night. The overhead stomping back and forth that kept me up all night continues to pound away. Finally at 2:40 A.M. I went upstairs to find out if there was an overnight construction crew working in the room above us. The halls were deserted. Room 214 right above us looked normal, with a "do not disturb" magnet on the door. I simply don't understand, but I'm exhausted and frustrated. This property has so much potential. But if you can't get any sleep at a hotel, what good is it in the end. I was here to sleep. Brings new meaning to the phrase, "Red-Eye Special".
new, clean, cheap, convenient, comfortable. I, being of sound mind and body, would stay here again in a heartbeat the next time im in north little rock arkansas, i mean sherwood arkansas.. there are close
Talk about feeling at home away from home. The amenities and the staff were absolutely amazing. And I'm not sure what kind of bed I slept on, but my sleep was restful, deep, and complete. And one last thing - the staff member Lisa was a standout. We were there visiting family and were able to find another long lost "cousin" in her. Thank you so much for a more than pleasant experience. Good people.
The room was clean. The toilet handle was broken, but it did work. The breakfast was good although there was no bacon. There is no elevator so keep that in mind if you have heavy luggage. The lobby was very nice and the hotel in general was very clean. There is nothing fancy about this hotel, but if you're looking for a decent clean place to stay this fits the bill.
This hotel was very clean, great people at the front desk, very quiet when we were there. Nicer than some Best Western Hotels we have been in because it is newer. Beds were fine, No problems, would sure stay here again.
Great place to stay and convent to where I needed to be. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even opened the breakfast center early to accommodate our group. Thank you for the great service.
All the staff here are friendly and very hard working to ensure guests enjoy their stay. The front desk staff Lisa and Kel made our stay very pleasant indeed and the common areas very clean and bright. The free breakfasts nice added bonus with fresh fruits and waffles biscuits and gravy and more every day. Thank you so much for making us feel welcome. Oh and i forgot the freshly baked cookies in the afternoons!
This was a very good hotel it's in a great location very good price probably the best one in Sherwood area also has a great staff and a great rafters and the beds are really comfortable, they also have an electric charge station for electric cars if needed.
I encountered a horrible experience at a hotel not too far from this one.... Checked out and came here... IT WAS WORTH THE SWITCH... I'll most definitely stay here again. It was clean, the staff was very professional friendly and welcoming, and the beds were amazing!!!!! The only thing... There's no elevator... But I was offered a room downstairs because she knew I had a newborn. Thank you
Good value for the location. Clean facility, with complimentary hot breakfast to boot. Access road provides convenient access to multiple businesses and restaurants. Very reasonable price for what is being provided!
Nice motel for the money. This trip was not as good as last time we stayed a couple of months ago. Room just was not quite as clean. Found long black hair in tub and on shower curtain. Reported to front desk but nothing was done. Cleaned it myself. Really disappointed
Nice place to stay. Very quiet. I was a little concerned at check in because they were having a wedding party at the hotel but we didn't hear a thing. The rooms are very soundproof. We didn't even hear any road noise and we are very close to the highway.
Fantastic hotel. We stay here for a week every year. The staff is wonderful. It is located close to family and works out great. Breakfast is always good, the hotel is clean and up to date. The rooms are spacious for an extended stay.
Check in was a breeze! The employees were very friendly and offer help or greeted me the time of day as they passed. I needed a bottle opener while I was there and the front desk person got me one and told me keep it as long as I needed it. I did return it when I was done using it. I must said this hotel was outstanding! Everything was in order, really clean lobby and room, and the personnel were the best. Thank you!
This place is extremely well kept inside and out . Friendly staff, clean building and room with great amenities, it's quiet and close to some nice restaurants. Free breakfast is a nice touch!!! Thank you
The receptionist was very nice. Because she was not familiar with the area, she looked up and printed directions for us to find a restaurant. The facility has no elevator, so we carried our luggage up the stairs. While this was not a huge problem for us, it would pose an insurmountable difficulty for some folks if ground-floor rooms were not available. The room was fairly clean, but the bathroom could have used more attention from the maid. Our room included a small refrigerator. Throughout the evening, we could hear our next door neighbor's TV. I was also awakened by a neighbor's music around 3 AM.
A very clean well run hotel with easy parking and access to the room. The room was large and the bed and pillows very comfortable. The breakfast was good - we opted for the fresh fruit, yogurt, and cereal. Plenty of hot coffee. The hotel is located on a one way access road. No problem finding it. Getting back to the hotel after dinner at a nearby restaurant on the access road was tricky so ask directions.
The check-in process was smooth and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean, which is very important. The free breakfast was very good and there was always a staff member available to ensure the food supply was replenished when necessary.
The staff was friendly, the room was clean, the bed and pillows we're very comfortable, the water pressure was perfect and warm, the breakfast was good. Right next to Kohl's and just down the street from many great restaurants and a nice shopping mall.
great value, great service, easy parking, decent amenities. wifi a little slow but adequate. very clean but a little musty smelling so we always bring air freshener when we stay here but its clean and you can't beat the price/value we have been staying at this hotel when we visit our family in Sherwood for close to 10 years
The customer service at this location is what sets it above others in the area. Front Desk staff are courteous, helpful and ready to answer any questions. The rooms are clean and updated. Beds are comfortable. Refrigerators, microwaves and coffee makers are all provided. Breakfast is included. Shopping and restaurants are both close by. This location was a great place to stop while passing through Little Rock.
Easy to access and well run hotel. Close to several eating places annd far enough of the main road to make your visit quiet and comfortable. Better than average breakfast. Allthe equipment in the fitness center worked and was kept clean
Nice hotel, seemed recently updated. Everything looked fresh and new. Great location as it was close to many restaurants. The front desk directed us to a fabulous eatery. Very friendly staff and a great price - a combination that cannot be beat! Beds were very comfy and the breakfast was above average. Overall an awesome stay
Always stay at BW in Sherwood. I come in to visit family and enjoy the free breakfast and cleanliness of this hotel. The rooms are nice, the breakfast is good and the hotel employees are very attentive. Someone hit my car on their parking lot and did not report it, the management gave me info on the hotel owners and instructed me to call them. The desk lady came out and looked at my car and was very helpful, this has never happened before. I always stay at this hotel it is reasonable and I won't let this accident keep me from staying with them.
Reasonable price, nice staff. Pass on the breakfast...not impressive. I do feel like they closed the pool to early in the season, it was in the 90's while we were there. They have a gazebo that would be perfect for a hot tub...js
The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. We always stay here when we come to Little Rock, the staff is very helpful and always ready to go the extra mile for us. We would recommend this hotel for families and group events.
Excellent value, exceeded all expectations. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others. The motel is very clean, the room and bed were comfortable and even the breakfast exceeded expectations.
We stayed one night in the way home from a trip. The location is a short drive from downtown. The hotel was quiet and the room comfortable. Pretty standard breakfast. The bed was a little higher than some which I liked.
Nice hotel with good location off highway enough so road noise was not offensive. Clean rooms and no pets a big plus. A good hot breakfast and plenty of other options for those who want sweets, cereal, or waffles.
Rooms very clean, staff helpful and friendly. Used business center to print directions to local places to shop. Very nice hotel. At little "out of the way" maybe, but worth it. Good breakfast with a lot of variety.
Great place to stay with super comfy beds and peaceful, quiet nights! Only issue (if that's what to call it) was the TV, was hard to change channels in the remote & I personally don't care for Direct TV. Overall, my stay was pleasant.
Great hotel. Good value. Very clean throughout. Staff really helpful. More of a continental breakfast would have been nicer. Fried eggs & bacon. Had & cheese sliced. Lisa the assistant manager was extremely lovely, happy & helpful. Would definitely stay again.
Spent a night there on a recent trip. The hotel was nice, clean and great staff at desk. No issues with the room, a/c worked well and room was clean. One issue however was we had a connecting room which allowed us to hear every word of the couple next door. I would recommend staying here unless you want the breakfast in the morning. We were on the downside of the breakfast rush but that shouldn't effect the quality of the food. I grabbed a scoop of scrambled eggs and were surprised to find they had no sausage or bacon but they did have sausage biscuits, the kind you would buy frozen and nuke. So I grabbed one of those. Sat down at the table and quickly found the scrambled eggs were made of colored Styrofoam and the sausage biscuit were so bad not only could you not bite through them you couldn't pull the biscuit apart with your hands or even cut it with a knife. It was so bad we got up with our full plates, walked to the trash can, dropped our plates in and went down the street to the IHop. You would think when a hotel uses free breakfast as a reason to stay, they would try to make it good enough to eat. So if you don't plan on eating breakfast at the hotel stay here, it a nice place. If you want to get up in the morning and grab a quick convenient breakfast, stay somewhere else. Your choice!
Excellent service and nice stay overall. There is nothing to complaint when you come to the desk so late in the day and be met with a smile from the Hotel agent who offer help to choose your room that accommodate your need for staying after a long day driving. Great experience with staff, the cleanliness and peaceful sleep. Just great. Thanks.
The staff was excellent and very friendly. The rooms were comfortable. The hotel overall was in good shape but could use some improvements. An elevator would be nice for luggage. The breakfast wasn't the best.
My family was in between moving and we stayed here a couple of nights. Rooms were clean, lobby was very nicely decorated, and the staff was very nice and helpful. Great place to stay for families or really anybody. The really good thing is we didnt hear people walking around or being loud. Great place to stay.
Rooms are clean. Great beds. The hotel staff is always nice friendly. Easy check-in and checkout. Next to Kolh's, if you want to shop. My overall experience with this hotel is great. I stay here once a week.
We had easy check in. There is no elevator at this facility. There is a pool and good amount of parking. Easy on and off access from the freeway. The breakfast was prepared on time as stated and our room and bed comfort was very nice. Would stay here again.
Hotel was perfect for our needs. The pool was nice and cold, and clean. The beds were excellent and climate control was great too. The hotel was quiet, and sound proof, smelled clean and had microwave and fridge in the room. Internet was fast and efficient!
Stay here anytime I am in the Little Rock area. The beds are wonderful, the rooms are clean and the staff is always very helpful. Truly they are always very accomidating. I would compare them to any of the upscale hotels in the area
This is understandably a budget hotel. Overall the place looked nice and the rate was good. Our room had a musty smell and the A/C unit made so much noise we had to turn it off to sleep. I reported this to the front desk in the morning and received no attempt by the clerk to make it right. She basically said "no one has reported that problem before" and that was the end. I didn't feel like making a bigger deal out of it but was very disappointed by the response. I will not stay here again. Breakfast was pretty bad as well but you get what you pay for.
The night of check in before getting to lie down in bed. I pulled the covers back and found a french fry and hairs in the bed. Was moved quickly to another room but did not know it did not have an elevator for the second floor. It took awhile to move our stuff up the stairs. But the room was nice and comfortable.
We stayed at this hotel from May 17th till 19th in room 120. As a BW member we were offered a gift at the check in. The room was good and quiet. The warm items of the breakfast were different each morning. The staff is friendly and helpful.
The environment was serene, pleasant, and convenient. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The location of the restaurant is good . All of the amenities in the room were in great condition. The hotel was very clean, handicap accessible, and provided computer, fax, and laundry service
very nice to be here and coordinated with pre reservation clear directions to hotel and great prices for the surrounding area. staff recommended great eating establishments in the area quiet and secure room
This hotel was super clean and pleasant! Beds were great!! The night manager was so helpful and held the room for me when I needed it the last minute. Would stay here again! Great sleep. Got much-needed rest.
The whole experience was great. Just a few minutes away from downtown and an easy and simple drive. Room was clean, comfortable and smelled great. Huge continental breakfast. Will definitely stay here again.
This place reeks of cigarette smoke. It permeates an entire wing and you can smell it as you walk down the hall. If you're a non-smoker, you won't be after staying here. Totally unacceptable and irritating.
Great hotel, can't beat a room for $87 total including taxes and fees plus a free breakfast. Very nice hotel, clean, and fast internet. It's located very close to Little Rock and North Little Rock. There are tons of restaurants near by. The staff was very friendly! Highly recommend!
We have stayed at this hotel 4 or 5 times in recent years, and find the accommodations very clean & comfortable (and affordable). The clincher, though, is that the customer service is excellent. Recently, we unexpectedly needed to book a room for my 83 year-old mother at the last minute. They bent over backwards to get her into a room with a roll-in shower. Not only were there few rooms with this amenity, but the hotel was very busy on Easter week-end. We really appreciated it !
It was fabulous.. would stay again and again. STAFF was awesome. Very clean rooms and a comfortable beds. The grounds are very well kept. Felt really safe at this hotel. Close to all the eating places and the mall.
The desk clerk's were very friendly and accommodating. Check in was easy and checkout was quick. I would recommend this Best Western for anyone needing a place to stay in that area. The location is convenient also.
We got in late. Just passing through to our destination. Stayed only one night, but would definitely stay here again if given the opportunity. Had a good breakfast- egg and cheese omelette, boiled eggs, waffles, mini sausage biscuits, gravy, pastries, cereal ect. Only thing it ends by 9:30. Also there's no elevator! That's a real bummer when you have a family and all their luggage. Fortunately we were given a room on the first floor.
Stayed here for several days while attending a conference. Checked in on a Thursday afternoon and the lady at the front desk worked with me to get a room that fit my needs. When other members of my group arrived later, she arranged to have the rooms in the same wing and floor. Throughout our stay, she took very good care of us and had the friendliest smile and attend. She even baked some extra cookies to have at the front desk when we came in each day from our conference. Rooms were very clean and comfortable and the breakfast made for a good way to start the day. This is a very welcoming place to stay.
The minute you walk in the door you can tell the property is well taken care of. The room was spacious and functional. The management and staff were on point. Would recommend for a weary traveler looking for nice clean accommodations.
The place was clean and the staff was great. I used the laundry facility and the breakfast was satisfying. I wanted to use the work out room but I kept getting to full off the breakfast. The location is within a mile of many fun places to include a mall.
We have stayed at the Best Western in Sherwood a couple of times. Each time, the staff has been very pleasant and inviting. The rooms have been very clean and well maintained. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.
love this hotel , people are great , always clean don't have to guess ,comfortable, good location, breakfast good with variety, ...stayed somewhere else up the road one time was disappointed never again. great value
The property does not have the same level of outdoor landscaping and cleanliness that I have come to expect from Best Western. However, the front office was pleasant, the rate was affordable, and they accepted cats in their pet friendly policy. I had a quiet stay, and the bed was very comfortable, the tv worked, and my cat was happy.
We've been staying at this motel for over 8 years and they have always gone above and beyond our expectations! We have been able to reserve the same room "in advance" almost every time we have stayed there. The location of the motel is close to everything we might need, such as; restaurants, shopping, and gas stations! We have never been dis-satisfied or disappointed in our stays there! The staff goes out of their way to make sure we have everything we need!
What a great hotel! Everything was wonderful - price, very clean, comfortable bed and great breakfast. We are on a long road trip and was nice that the hotel had laundry facilities. From the moment we walked into the pretty lobby to the great night's sleep, this was a fantastic choice of places to stay in North Little Rock!
Very helpful, pleasant staff. A nice property. I stay there whenever in the area and a big reason is the friendliness of the staff. Rena, a check-in receptionist, is a super gal and a reason I keep returning. The breakfast is good, though the hot items could be improved. I am pleased with the property.
The hotel was clean and the staff was quite friendly and helpful. My only complaints would be the faucet in the bathroom sink. The water only sprays out and I had to use the tub faucet to fill the coffee pot. The other complaint is that the beds are comfortable but extremely high for us older folks. All in all we enjoyed our three nights there.
My favorite place to stay in Little Rock. I love the staff, they always go above and beyond the call of duty. I cannot say enough about the staff. Breakfast is good & varied. Rooms are comfortable and clean.
Check in and stay was perfect. Nice large room, comfortable bed, fridge and microwave in room. Staff was awesome. Helpful, kind and friendly. Made everyone feel welcome. Check out was great. Full breakfast served daily. Will stay here again!
Wife had surgery scheduled early Monday morning so we stayed the night to avoid a 4amy drive to Sherwood. We only stayed one night and left before breakfast but what we saw was great. Intend to stay there again in two weeks for her second surgery
Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Staff especially Rina was very helpful. Great gravy and biscuits for breakfast. Very close to many restaurants and other places of convenience like Cvs, Walgreens etc
This is a great hotel. Rooms are clean and rates are reasonable. Just a note, this is a 2 story hotel and there is no elevator. What makes this property shine is the excellent friendly staff! Thanks BW Sherwood...see ya soon!
This hotel is a little outdated but is still nicer than others I've stayed in. The rooms are clean. There is no elevator. The breakfast is ok. Nothing to write home about. I would stay here again if in town.
Spent the weekend, was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. This hotel was an exceptional value, room was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. I have very high standards for a hotel. This hotel excited my expectations. Would stay again and recommend to friends and family.
This is a wonderful place to stay. Price is good! Staff is super helpful and friendly! The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It had refrigerator and microwave and coffee pot. The bathroom was spotless and the shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion was in dispensers on Wall which was convenient and loved them, they also smelled wonderful! The breakfast was very good, lots of variety. We would definitely stay here again!
Very nice clean motel, great breakfast, freindly staff.the pool was very refreshing after our 800 mile trip.I would highly recommend this motel to anyone. The location is a little difficult to get to but once you find it you will be glad you did.
This is a nice neighborhood, suburb hotel. We arrived late evening and were told our room was on second floor was that ok. We replied "guess it has to be." Later discussed with receptionist the website should indicate there is no elevator. She checked and found a cancelation on first floor, guided us to the room to see if it was ok (handicapped room) We were very grateful for the accommodation. Knee replacement and heart problems. Website needed to indicate no elevator
We were in Sherwood to celebrate the birthday of our 3 year old great grand-daughter. We arrived before the check-in time, but the hotel clerk had no problem with checking us in. She was terrific!! She was friendly, intelligent, competent and courteous. The exterior was meticulous and inviting. Our room was comfortable cool on a very hot day, and nice and clean. The breakfast was much more than expected and we enjoyed the opportunity to eat there. I would readily stay in this hotel again and again.
This stay was excellent in my books. The staff was wonderful as well as the hotel. From check-in to check-out and in between the service was the very best. Breakfast was good and there was a variety of items to choose from. Motel was clean and rooms were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this property to others and will stay again if I am in the area for business or pleasure.
This hotel is a good value for the money. It is clean and has great amenities. Bring your own cleaning supplies and willingness to clean the room if you are there longer than a single night. They do not refresh or clean the room if you are staying multiple nights.
We were very please with how this Hotel was managed. The staff were all professional and friendly and helpful. Rooms were well appointed and very clean, bed very comfortable. The only criticism was that the walls appeared to be thin as the noise level of the next room was loud. But, there were 4 men who were a bit rowdy so it could have just been that. Out last night was much quieter.
this was a great stay for me, I try to stay at a BW when I can. The front desk lady is great. she was so helpful. If you need a great place to stay , stop in an see they staff at the best Hotel in the Little Rock area. this was a great stay for me, I try to stay at a BW when I can. Great people and great place. Would stay again and again.. Nice, quiet and clean who would have know this germ was right around the corner. I can't say enough how the staff was wonderful. So if you are ever in town i please choose this Best Western
I love this place! Check in was smooth, and efficient, the staff was kind, professional and they did everything they could to provide me with everything I needed. My room was very clean and comfortable. And the hot breakfast was excellent!
I have family scattered around Central AR, and this hotel is centrally located with excellent highway access. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I have been staying here when I come to the area for several years now. I would recommend it to anyone looking for quality accommodations for a reasonable rate.
We must have had an unusually bad experience at this hotel. The place has no insulation! I could actually manage to put my finger between the door and the frame. We were on the first floor, and it sounded like a herd of elephants was walking across the ceiling all evening. The ice machine must have been next to our room, as my husband was kept awake by people using that in the night. He got next to no sleep. The king bed was nice, and the room was clean. It was well-lit, with a reading chair, which is often not the case. The vanity area was nice and large. However, there wasn't much gluten-free for us at breakfast. The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful. We wouldn't go there again.
Took a little looking to find this place.......made a couple wrong turns....Very nice place...very friendly staff...nice clean rooms and surroundings. Just up the road from many restaurants......I will come back if I am in the area again.
The staff here is awesome but the rooms are not the best. From poor water drainage to bad circulation of air in the room, I would second guest. I would have rather spend money on breakfast then to eat the breakfast provided.
Have been staying here once or twice a year for several years. It's a good value for the price. In the three years since I last reviewed this location, nothing has changed - It's quiet, clean, and the staff are always terrific: friendly, professional, and efficient. I say nothing has changed, and that includes that they have still not addressed the lack of a/c shields. You have to stuff the curtains into the windowsill to keep the a/c flowing into the room.
My best friend and I stayed here while we were in town to take in a Paul McCartney concert. The entire stay was effortless. The room was clean, staff helpful, and accommodations adequate. We appreciated the continental breakfast, especially my favorite, waffles topped with chocolate chips. I had no complaints about this property and appreciated the location. It was easy to find and navigate to and from.
They continuously spray a nauseating air freshener in the lobby 24 hours a day, definitely overkill. The beds have no comforters, just sheets and a blanket. The mattresses themselves were average and older, not quite plush comfort. The bathroom had no ventilation and let off a slight mildew smell if the door was kept closed. The windows do not open to allow an airing out of the room so there was a constant musty/stinky feet/locker room smell which we tried to alleviate by running the a/c unit at all times. The two wooden desk chairs available in room were each broken at the arm joints and lifting them for moving to another area caused the entire base to come off. The breakfast is free for a reason; trans fat laden muffins, stale danish and corn syrup disguised as maple syrup for the waffles. I saw a male guest eat raisins directly from the jar using the serving spoon and proceed to put the same spoon right back into the jar. Disgusting. The staff was pleasant enough but unknowledgeable about things to do and local travel routes. We did appreciate that they allowed us to check in about five hours early. The rate was cheap enough but more than likely would not stay here again.
We were sight-seeing in Little Rock and visiting friends. This was a good location for both objectives. We appreciated the friendly staff and breakfast variety. It was a comfortable, clean base for us to come and go.
We were in town in order to attend a concert; we were greeted and helped by Rina at the front desk. She is simply a joy to interact with! Friendly, courteous, helpful, efficient, and fun to talk with! Our room was very clean and comfortable. The only thing that kept this from being a full 5 rating was the breakfast the next morning. Apparently the fridge holding the milk for cereal was not working well; it was barely cooler than the air in the room, and as a result, the milk was spoiled. The lady working the breakfast room replaced it as soon as I told her about it.
Almost rated this place 5 stars. But alas, housekeeping kept you from earning my hard to get five star rating. I expect my hotel room to be the same cleanliness of my house, meaning that dust bunnies and left over m&m's candies from previous guests don't appear in the corners or under the bed edges of my room. Now for what I thought was outstanding... the check in person. I believe her name was Rena (or something close to it). But as far as check in process goes this lady was fantastic with a great personality and she seemed eager to help guests including myself. She gave me an appetizer coupon to Chuy's tex-mex restaurant down the street which was good in and of itself (see review of the place). Check in was by far the highlight of this stay here, and the hotel wasn't bad either, just get housekeeping to take it up a notch or two and you will be right there on my list of favorites.
I have stayed at the Best western in north Little Rock several times over the past 3 years. It is always clean & neat. The people who work there are some of the nicest I have ever come across and I travel a lot for business. They are helpful not only with the hotel but also with the surrounding area--restaurants, places of interest, etc. The breakfast is always well stocked with a fresh variety of foods. The rooms are always up to date and immaculate. I always look forward to staying there.
I stayed just one night for business but our company uses this location frequently. The room was very clean and the bed was super comfy. I checked in late at night and the night staff was extremely nice. I had forgotten my charger at home and she was kind enough to loan me one as well as help me pick a good food delivery option. I will be using this hotel again. The only flaw I noticed was that breakfast was a little too soggy. It was definitely a good deal and a great stay!!
This hotel was excellent! My fiance and I loved our stay here! The hotel was clean and everything was in working order. There were a lot of places to eat and there was even a national historic site only 10 minutes away. The staff was friendly. The bed was extremely comfortable-probably the best night's sleep at a hotel I've ever had!
This was a great hotel. My sisters and I stayed here when we came to visit our brother. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The lobby had a fresh nice smell when you entered and the rooms were clean and smelled fresh and clean. The area was nice and quite. This hotel will be my families home away from home when we visit.
This place is fairly new, clean, & staff goes out of their way to help you. Their attitude compels me to come back every trip. Close to plenty of restaurants & entertainment. The mornings they have breakfast burritos are the best. The value is great.
Stayed one night with my wife on a trip to Little Rock. I had to visit the Air Force base and it was close enough to be very convenient. The good things: bed was very comfortable, room and bath were clean, we had refrig and microwave available, coffee maker in the room. There is a small concessions room nearby the front desk if you want some drinks or snacks. There is a free breakfast available in the morning. The not so good: The hotel only has 2 floors, but if you are put on the 2nd floor you have to climb stairs to get there, no elevator. The hotel does have a fitness room, but it has very little equipment. The breakfast is free, but it is a high-carb breakfast and there was nothing that I wanted to eat besides a cup of coffee. I ended up driving about 1/2 miles down the road to the Waffle House to get a real breakfast. Overall a decent stay for the price.
We stayed the night on our way home from an out-of-state trip and overall it was a wonderful experience! The hotel, room, staff, and service were all excellent! We were extremely satisfied and would definitely stay here again.
We were in Little Rock for a wedding and booked 2 King rooms at this hotel for one night. The rooms were large and clean and the hotel staff was very friendly! We were very pleased and will definitely stay here again if the need arises!
The hotel is well cared for and very clean. The staff goes above the call of duty to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. I will stay at this facility again when I travel to Arkansas. Thank you for the great service.
Great hotel, great staff. The breakfast was adequate, better than most free breakfasts. There is no elevator, but that was not a problem. Nice business center and workout room. The reservation process was easy and the staff was very helpful since I need 12 rooms.
Most Best Westerns I've stayed at are very clean and the people are very helpful !! The Best western experience is not only affordable but no problem as of yet with over 50 plus nights a year averaged.
Visited here for business and was very pleased. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a step above most typical hotels of pastry, yogurt, cereal and waffles.
This is a very nice, clean hotel. The staff who checked me in and out were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had good amenities, including the best shower of our trip. The beds were comfortable.
We spent 3 nights . The staff was friendly and helpful. the breakfast was very good ( fresh). The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The locations was close to shopping and great Dining. I recommend this Hotel to all.
Best stay at a hotel on a week+ trip. Desk clerk was very personable and helpful. Room was clean and neat. Numerous places close by to eat at. Recommend it and will stay at it the next time I'm in the area. Only downside is that my GPS didn't find it. Not their fault.
Enjoyed our stay at this Motel so much. First impression from outside of Motel, was how neat, clean and well cared for. Inside everything was so clean, well cared for. Desk Clerk, was so friendly, and welcoming. Our room was so clean and decorated with such great taste. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was spotless! Breakfast was appealing and tasted very good. This is one Motel I would refer to anyone, and will stay there again if I am in the area.
Great Hotel. Front desk clerk is friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good. i do recommend this hotel. The hotel is conveniently to highway 67/167 with a mall and restaurants close. The Air Force base and Little Rock downtown are easily accessible.
We were on an 18 hour drive to visit family. Ready to stop for the night we called this hotel. We talked to Lisa Fields (? The manager?)) and made reservations. She was the sweetest lady!! She went out of her way to make sure that we were happy and satisfied. Super easy booking. Great price. The lobby was beautiful. Room was extremely clean and the bed was extraordinary! The hot breakfast was good also. We have already decided that when we take this trip in the future, we are definitely staying here!
Easy check in, friendly, helpful staff, well appointed rooms, very clean, near shopping, easy to get to. This was a quick visit to see our grandchildren . Enjoyed our stay here. good breakfast. Definitely would stay again.
convinient, clean, good dollar value close to airport and family ... breakfast will keep you alive but nothing to write home about room very clean and well appointed would recommend for business or personal stays
Experienced one of the nicest rooms and beds in any hotel ever! The pillows and mattress were just right, making this a comfortable and restful stay. Additionally, the breakfast dining room was very clean and the food was fresh and appetizing. The service personnel were friendly and helpful.
