SureStay Plus by Best Western Odessa

I had stayed at the previous hotel in past years and noticed it was not being maintained and was in need of updating. The manager told me there was a major remodel on this property a couple of years ago. It's definitely improved now compared to before. The lobby is inviting and room was clean. The new breakfast area was also clean and offered a selection of breakfast foods. There is also lots of free parking. I stayed here because I was in the area for a high school reunion. Enjoyed my stay and will probably stay here again.

110 W I-20, Odessa,TX I really don't like writing bad reviews but this was a very bad experience. The desk person was gone and a non English speaking young friendly girl was trying to take care of us at check in. The actual desk clerk was in the phone to answer any questions. We needed a handicap room with roll in shower. We also have a small 5 pound dog. The FIRST room was not ADA equipped so I went back to the desk. They were hesitant to give us the actual ADA room because we had a dog and the desk clerk didn't want to get in trouble because it wasn't a dog friendly room. She decided to give us the room anyway. I went to check the room and found a large stain on the bed cover, there were colored lights above that were flickering, and the ADA shower had no wand and a small round stool, plus the fridge was off and the freezer was full of water! I needed the freezer to keep ice packs frozen for my partners needs. So back to the desk, where I let them know the room was unacceptable due to the issues, I took pictures and showed them. Back to the original room because it was the only room with a step in shower which again is not ADA approved. The shower curtain is moldy. The lamp shade is all dented, only 2 towels. 1 coffee service, the fridge was not even plugged in ( had to move the credenza to plug it it) the fridge has no freezer but hoped it would be cold enough at the top to freeze at least 2 ice packs. There was tabacco shreds all over the nightstand! No lamps on the nightstands because there aren't any plugs I guess!? Main issues is that this hotel is in dire need of a real deep cleaning and for $117 a night is absolutely disgusting. We couldn't go to another hotel because BW has a no refund policy & they don't bend! One good thing is that the the evening desk clerk was very nice, and tried to make up for all of this with more towels and brought us ice plus added 3000 points to our rewards. But a bad experience here really made a sad experience on our trip.

I thought I'd done my homework by reading reviews, but I had a rude awakening to the power of paid reviewers. This place is an absolute dump. Stains on the bedding and walls. Shower curtains supported by zip ties. No breakfast, even though it was advertised. Absolutely abysmal accommodations. To make matters worse, Best Western customer service just made sure I knew that their properties are independently owned/operated. If you're going to put your name on something, I recommend requiring some minimum standards to be met. This will make me leery of any BW property in the future.

Very nice and up to date hotel. This hotel is one of the best hotels in Odessa. With its indoor pool, spacious room, large beds, warm shower, high quality air conditioning, and its affordable rates!!!

To start off the hotel was simply affordable luxury at its finest! From the elegant interior as you walk in the lobby. The room was well cleaned, had led lighting, and a large T.V. With all the channels. After setting down in my room I had went to go check out the INdoor pool, which was large and spotless.

Very quick check in process, clean rooms, and a huge indoor pool. I had stayed her for three night and felt like it was home. The television had all the channels and air conditioning worked perfectly.

Very good hotel, rooms are very nice, quiet, large tv, newly remodeled, large nice and very well kept indoor pool, good washers and dryers, very large parking area with two large diesel truck parking.

I will never stay here or at Sure stay plus because they have the Best western name but not the best western standards. I will stay else where and pay more money before I would ever stay at sure stay again.

I was very pleased with my experience at sure stay by best western. It is nearly completely remodeled and looks very good . The pool is beautiful, the rooms are clean, and the staff is friendly. It is pet friendly, close to the freeway and a good value for the price.

On Interstate 20 - right where it needs to be. Great value for what you get. Slow times in Midland, this hotel provided a room at a good price. Good staff and easy parking. Please ask for a higher room away from the freeway for the best rest.

Business has changed. My job has changed. Slowing down and looking towards the future is tough right now. This hotel however makes it easier. Great Value. I need a clean room and convenient to the fields. The front desk gets the job done and it is a quick in and out. On I 20 so it is fast to where i need to go. Banks, Fields, Drive Thrus. Thank you staff for staying open.

It rough outside due to remodel but the owner was able to get me a room when all of others were booked and did not jack price up. She was nice and helpful. Room clean beds new along with AC. If you need a place in a pinch this is the place.

Better than it used to be I definitely recommend this place!!! There is a young lady by the name of Erica who gave us directions and was so kind and happy to help us, not like all these other hotels who have rude people working, I slept good it was hard to find a hotel for a decent price but I am here and it's nice and quiet they even have an indoor pool

I arrived at this hotel after taking a late flight into Midland. I arrived here at 10:30 at night, only to find out that half of the hotel didn't have power, and the whole hotel did not have water. Thankfully, my stay was refunded, however, it would have been nice to have been notified of this all immediately! Trying to find a place to stay in Midland or Odessa last minute is nearly impossible and I was finally able to find another option after calling about 9 different places. I did not stay in this hotel, however, it looked very sketchy from what I saw of the lobby, and the surrounding area. Call ahead if you are staying here, to make sure everything is good with your room.
