SureStay by Best Western Morganton

Most gross room ever stayed in. Bug carcasses in all corners and carpet filthy. Furniture grimey. Got eaten up by bugs! Rude manager (graveyard shift woman was very nice). Breakfast was a joke! Moldy ice machine (96 score?!@#), dirty bathroom floors and urine stains behind toilet. Maid only came once, was there 6 days. Long time residents, I assume, stayed smoking outside, even barefoot in the rain right in front of the entrance. Looked like a tweeker convention, prob explained all the cut marks all over the desk table. Dont recommend at all. REFUND!!!!!

Very friendly staff. Room was very clean and quite. Great economy hotel. My daughter lives here. We have tried a lot of Hotels and for the price you can't beat it. I will definitely stay here again on future trips

Best for traveller's crossing cities/states to have a good sleep, rest and breakfast. We were group of 2 families travelling from Atlanta for vacation, we had good rest during night and had early breakfast and set off to the next location.

Nice and Clean. The rooms smelled great and was very clean. I was there for 8 days and staff made sure I had anything I needed. I didn't like the fact that I couldn't smoke and was told I wasn't allowed to smoke on the property.

Staff was rude upon arrival. I had been traveling and checked in later in the evening. He basically made me feel as if I was checking into a prison. From that experience alone, I was hesitant about bringing forth other issues that I was having. I am one of the friendliest people that you would even meet but every time I walked in I was disgusted. The stay was so horrible that I left on Friday night and traveled home late even though I had paid for that night. I felt dirty because the shower was HORRIBLE!!!! Internet sucks (especially for a business trip). I got less than what I paid for. This place is probably perfect for a late night hookup with a random that you grabbed off of the street.

You get more than you pay for! My room was very comfortable and quiet, the wi-fi was reliable, the service helpful and friendly - when you could catch them. The breakfast they offered was OK, but the coffee was above average. If you decide to stop for the night, definitely recommended.

I don't know what I was expecting for $60 but a clean, pube-free shower and stain free bedding was among my expectations. Breakfast was limited but I didn't expect much from that part. Cereal was stale. Hard to mess up cereal but here we have it.

Whatever you do, don't book this place for a stay! It is disgusting. My partner and I checked in after a long day of travel. It was one of the ones closest to where we were. We got there, front desk guy was on his phone talking loudly in whatever language he was talking in. Was still on the phone while checking me in and wasn't even paying attention to charging my card. When we got to the room, we noticed an off-putting smell. The bathroom sink had debris of shaved hair all over the counter and on the hair blow-dryer. There were handprints on the mirror. And carpet was dirty. Mind you, we've been traveling over 16 hours and was extremely exhausted. We were too tired to even deal with it or exchange rooms. We covered the beds with our own home towels, slept and left after 6 hours of sleep. We didn't even use the bathroom or anything else. Could've saved our money and just sleep in our car!! Disgusting place. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Didn't even care to report next morning cause we needed to get to our next destination.

This hotel was not at all up to Best Western standard. The bed was soggy, the furniture was dated and worst of all, the bathtub was gross! The shower curtain was moldy and stained. Breakfast was a joke. They didn't even have peanut butter for toast ; they only had cold cereal and white bread. Nothing with protein in sight. This hotel was relatively inexpensive but pay a few dollars more and avoid this place.

Wish I could rate this a 0 star. The front desk employee was not friendly, I had to slide my card to pay them slide again for incidentals. Dirty is an understatement. The microwave was dirty, Fridge had large mess from the last guest, freezer had mold. We turned off the microwave and it still kept running when the door was shut. We had to leave it open all night. The bathroom didn't look as though it had been cleaned in quite a while. Toothpaste all over the mirror, pee on the floor, the sink was so disgusting, it was brown from dirt. The bathtub had alot of hair and was also black from filth. I have never wrote a review like before but this was out of the world with how bad it was. Run away

The room was extremely filthy and the lady at the front desk was so rude and the worst that I've ever encountered. We did not get the room that we booked and when we asked about getting the room we paid for the lady at the front desk tried to cancel our room completely and became very rude.

I already wrote an honest review and listed all the problems, now this review email from the Hotel wants me to leave another review on Trip Advisor despite my really poor grading. That's just about sums up the quality of the whole hotel and the management. I would not have repeated this but if they want me too…. Avoid this place regardless of the price.

This place has a convenient for passing through but when you see the rooms you wish you had. Carpet is disgusting. The furniture belongs on the tip. The doors are not safe in the frames and I had to change rooms because I couldn't leave with the door locking, you didn't need a key! The lady on the reception was friendly and did her best to cope, she was the only reason I didn't leave and drive on!

Do not stay here !!!! Go to the Hampton Inn or set up a tent at a KOA or even sleep in your car at the local Walmart parking lot you can get better service and you are closer to a restaurant that serves better quality food
