Awful experience at check in! The hotel staff at the desk informed me that they had cancelled my room reservation that was placed online. They never called me, emailed or texted me to alert me to the fact that they had done this. What kind of hotel operates this way?? Well, I found it after all these years. The desk was very rude and totally unapologetic.
A reasonably-priced, nice hotel (bit dated on the outside but our room was updated), well-located, rooms were clean, and beds comfortable. It is a good value for this area and worth considering xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Nice hotel, with greenery around , very welcoming for travelers with pets. Great pet policy . Made us feel welcome with our little dog. Front desk staff were outstanding and so friendly. Room / bathroom was super clean and had a fresh smell. Breakfast was very tasty with a great variety. Very quiet at night. One of the best places we stayed in .
The staff were nice. The breakfast was great; a lot of varieties. However, this was the 1st time we were disappointed with our room (among all the stays we've had with BW): The microwave was rusty in side. The refrigerator could barely get the food cold even on its highest setting. The fan in the bathroom did not work. The room had a musty smell. Uncertain if we would come back to this location.
Upon arrival we were unsure about the hotel because it looked very old and dated. We were pleasantly surprised, however. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was the normal selection for a hot hotel breakfast. The staff was adequate.
I would definitely not recommend it was dirty sheets were stained. The towels were stained. The tub was dirty and the room smelled bad. It was cheap. That's all I can say. However you get what you pay for I guess. it's a cheap hotel and they must pay their employees cheaply because nobody takes care of the place. The lady upfront is really nice super nice actually but the people who clean those rooms don't do their jobs.
A short Uber ride to the ballpark/Battery, but far enough away from the action for it to be quiet. Easy parking and very clean.
Made areservation for 2 double queen rooms week prior to our stay. We checked in and carried all our bags a sleeping 2year old to our rooms to find there was only one bed the rooms. When we returned to front desk we were told there wasn't any rooms avaiable with 2 queens. Giberto at the desk was not helpful getting a refund. The lobby smelled of marajuana. We should of been told at check in that they overbooked and gave our rooms to someone else.
Check in went smooth. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was typical hotel fare but pretty good overall I would stay here again.
Their is only one guest bathroom in the entire hotel. This was a problem because while people had to wait a long time or go up to their room. It was also horrible when we were checking in (occupied) and after we had checked out (occupied)
Was approached in the lobby by a male asking me to buy him something to eat. I didn't have my wallet. He told me to charge my room. Was asked for $$ in the parking lot. Staff needs to keep out bums.
Great for 1 night pass-through stay, right off the highway. Don't expect to feel like you're at a great hotel, the room was not very clean, stains on the pillows and just a general unclean feeling. Room AC could have been better. The pool area was nice and enjoyable, although lacking pool towels. The front desk kid was neither friendly or unfriendly, but he wasn't warm and welcoming. I was not expecting anything from the included breakfast, but it was the savior of this place, especially given the rest of the hotel. Hot and cold foods, something for the kids and the adults, staff was constantly cleaning and restocking. Worth the $100/night (with taxes) as we just needed a hotel for the night.
If you are use to hotels like Hampton Inn, Hilton, or Hyatt, this hotel is old and showing its age and will far from expectation. Not a fair comparision? It is when I paid just about as much as those chains. The first level rooms have a door that faces the parking lot. Room and hall are stuffy, beds okay, room and bathroom need way more lighting. People who rated this place a "wow" or "the bomb", what are you all smoking? There must be far better choices in Marietta than this little aged motel.
The bathroom lighting left a lot to be desired and was very hard to do here and make up. And the shower had nowhere to store your shampoo, conditioner or soap, unless you sat it on the floor and bent over to get it between uses
We enjoyed our stay. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. I liked the breakfast sausage. I wish the bathrooms had a bit more lighting. Tables and dressers had permanent cup watermarks which made me think those surfaces weren't cleaned but they were. I cleaned it myself and they weren't dirty. Over all we enjoyed our stay. There are 2 great restaurants nearby too if you're hungry.
Last night of four day road trip with dog. Located off a weird intersection that made us hesitant to drive anywhere for dinner. Luckily there were a couple restaurants directly across the street so we ordered to go. The hotel itself is unusual in that the bottom floor has rooms that open directly outside, while upstairs (we did not go up to look) has rooms into a hallway. We were on the end of the lower level, but our room did not open directly outside, there was a short interior hallway with 3 rooms off it. Warning-these rooms have adjoining doors, and although locked we could clearly her conversation on the other side of the door. (at 1am). Luckily the people quieted down very soon. The room seemed renovated, nice wood type floors, newer bathroom, but there were issues with functionality. For instance, nice big bathroom fan, but it did not turn on. (and it was not humidity sensing, it just did not work). The rolling shower door did not stay closed, so you can either hold it shut or it slowly rolled itself open while you shower. We did take a video and showed the desk clerk, since the floor got soaked and we needed more towels. There was no TV guide channel that we could find, and nothing printed. The front desk said channel 7 but that didn't work. No big deal, but made it fairly impossible to find the weather channel. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was the usual. No freezer in the mini-fridge, but the desk clerk put our ice blocks in the freezer for us. He was very nice. There was a grassy dog area with a poop bag station. It was an okay stay, in a nice quiet suburban type area.
Room was dirty with remnants of insects. Child got an allergic reaction after being in the room we immediately left to seek medical attention and booked another hotel.
This hotel is nicely located next to I-75 north of Atlanta. We have stayed here at 3 different times while traveling to Florida and then Savannah. We stop here for the night, get up early and beat the rush hour traffic through Atlanta. Rooms are always clean and property is well maintained and it is pet friendly. Last night we were awoken by at least 2 noisy drunks at 2:15 am and the noise and crap next door lasted until 5:30 am. It was ridiculous. Makes you wonder what is wrong with some people. I'm soured to this place now though. I told the front desk and the young receptionist apologized but no offer of any money back or any other remedy. There were times I almost called the police it was so crazy.
It's always an amazing experience with Mariana she is freaking amazing and funny! Keep up the great work sunshine 😊
Booked due to TA reviews and not disappointed. Friendly staff, ez check in, , recognized as Rewards members, clean, comfortable rooms (pillows were quite hard… definite no from me), adequate breakfast, free parking. A little maneuvering to find northbound off I-75 but ez on northbound. Room door closing mechanism needed looking into and reported to clerk on checkout. Otherwise, stay was a-OK.
We were in the great smoky mountains for vacation and stayed in pigeon forge for 4 nights and my 6 yrs old wanted to see the sea lion and dolphins show and drove to Atlanta & stayed at Best Western Atlanta-Marietta Ballpark hotel for 1 night & drove back to Pigeon Forge for another 4 nights because we fallen in love with the great smoky mountains before we headed back home.
Clean affordable place to stay on a 4 week RV trip from California to Georgia. We opted to get a room for a few nights while visiting family. After 4 weeks in an RV it was nice to have a king size comfy bed and hands down the best shower I have had in 4 weeks, endless hot water and tons of water pressure. Free breakfast was an added bonus.
This hotel has been updated nicely. The staff that checked us in and out were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast has everything I needed and then some and the woman in charge of the breakfast did a good job keeping an eye on availability.
I've stayed here several times. Room is clean, everything worked. It's a bit hard to find especially in the dark and there is not a lot of restaurants near so best to bring something with you to eat. I had a reservation for a king bed and when I checked in (5 pm) they said they didn't have any king beds left.
There was an unexplained delay checking in. When we got off the elevator, there was a strong smell of marijuana that never went away. Our wake up call was 25 minutes late. The internet kept fading in and out.
The room was very nice and clean. The desk and breakfast personnel were very friendly and helpful. The overall facilities were well maintained. The location was close to the expressway which made it easily accessible to the motel. This was worth the stay and the price.
I worked in the hotel industry for a number of years so I am very familiar with hotel operations. The room was clean and renovated nicely. I had initially booked my renovations via Hotel.com twice prior (but canceled due to the weather). I travelled with my dog and the dog fee displayed on Hotel.com was $20, so I didn't think anything of it when I rebooked directly with the hotel on this trip. When I checked-in, I was told that the pet fee is $30. The updated pet fee needs to be updated on third party travel sites. To add to the pet fee, people are not picking up after their dogs. There was dog feces everywhere in the grassy area behind the hotel Since this is a pet friendly hotel, the hotel should have a poop bag stations. Maybe there is a designated pet relief area. If there is, I was not told about it at check-in. You are charging a pet fee, that money should not only be used to keep the interior but exterior of the property clean of pet mess. The bed in the room felt worn out, I suspect the mattress is due for replacement. Typically when the left side of the bed feels different from the right, it's time for a refresh. Other than that, linens smelled great and fresh and the provided bathroom amenities were adequate. The bed sheets were very soft and comfortable, I just wish the mattress was in better condition. Overall decent stay in a convenient location. Thank you to the front desk / room control agent for accommodating my 1st floor request on the quiet side of the building.
My room was very clean even though you can tell the bed sheets were old. There were holes in the sheets from constant use but that's fine I always bring my own pillow and blankets anyways for personal comfort. The ac was quiet the bathroom was very clean.
At Check In assigned me a room that was occupied. Hotel is outdated ie 80's look and feel. Rooms very small. Not too clean table tops stained. Bathroom small. Furniture outdated. Hotel Location not in the best area
Much better than expected! Great last minute deal had us wondering what was in store, and it was very nice! Clean, good condition, decent breakfast, free parking, comfortable bed. We would stay here again without question.
Always great service provided by Best Western. Looking forward to using this location again. I always try to find a Best Western for travel needs because of being a member. The points are a big draw for me
This was the third time I have stayed at this hotel this year, and once last year. The first three stays were a 5, but this time it wasn't as nice of a stay. The staff wasn't as friendly especially the guy at checkout, he seemed bored and didn't really want to assist us. The ladies from our previous stays were fantastic. However, that is not the reason I moved it to a four, the room wasn't as clean as before. I will stay here again because, for the most part, it is a nice place at a good price. I payed around the same price all four of my previous stays, but the first three times I felt I got a great deal for such a clean and friendly hotel and didn't think about staying anywhere else. But next time I'm in the area I will expand my search.
Close to hwy, baseball field, restaurants. Very quiet at night. Good selection of snacks.Bed very comfortable. Hotel is a little old but well kept. Overall good place to stay. Good restaurants about a 1/4 mile away.
This place is one step above a roach motel. Reviews I read earlier did not reflect this. Our room had obviously been smoked in. They tried to cover the smell, but failed. Also could smell something like mold or mildew, carpet was stained, and the lighting in the bathroom was probably the worst I've ever seen in a hotel. Lighting in the whole room was basically non existent. The only positive was the proximity to Truist Park.
The rooms are pretty smelly. The carpet had all kinds of stains on it. The bathroom had rust and mold. If you're looking for somewhere cheap, this is place, but don't expect it be clean. If you see a rating higher than an "2", it should be taken as suspect. I will not be staying at the Best Western Atlanta-Marietta Ballpark Hotel on 1940 Leland Dr. SE, Marietta, GA.
I was hesitant about the hotel just from the outside looks. But when we checked in, we had great customer service! Was greeted with a smile and with someone already waiting at the front desk! And when we got to the room, it was in great condition!
This was the worst hotel i have ever stayed at, and i travel constantly to Atlanta. Just beware of this total hell hole. It gets a good rating online but i should of read the reviews first. Choice hotels needs to review this hotel again before stating its good. Everything in the room was damaged and in poor condition. The room door had splinters in the wood where someone had previously tried to break in! The room smelled like mold and the xeiling was cracked, caving in and had a removed fire alarm. I am not sure how the room would pass code. The room looke nothing like the online picture. The tv was broke for my aweful 2 day stay and they would not repair nor had any rooms for me to move to according to the front desk. The pool also was closed the whole time for repairs and it was foaming green crap anyways. They also informed me there maintenance guy was in the hospital? Seriously. This is a low budget hotel and that i understand but i would not let my dog board under these conditions! I did book and stay somewhere else nearby but chose to come back and see if any of thes problems were handled. They were never addressed. I believe it is family owned. Just horrific.
Our stay at this best western was very pleasant. People were friendly and helpful. Restaurants close by within walking distance. Very clean rooms. We come through this area lots so now we know this is here we will stay here each time.
Our stay at this Best Western was “nice”. Not perfect, but okay. I think many places are still not up to the levels of quality that they were before Covid. They are going to have to take it up a notch to gain our trust. Case and point: This Best Western was nestled in a quiet, classy neighborhood but offered a room with a barn door bathroom and a heavy, almost sandbag-like mattress. Maybe that's an exaggeration but even after a 20 hour stint awake, I found that I could not sleep because the bed was so hard. And about that barn door… seriously?? No privacy. Stay here again? Yes it was clean, and courteously staffed but my main reason for choosing a hotel is for its comfort while sleeping. This one needs work.
We stayed here one night with our two dogs - we were given a ground floor room with direct access to the parking lot. Everything was great. Clean room, good breakfast & fair price. I definitely recommend this hotel.
If you are in the area don't hesitate to stay at this lovely little hotel. Wasn't sure when I pulled up, but once I walked in and then saw my room, I couldn't have been more pleased. Beautifully updated and very well kept.
Excellent! Very clean, would never know this is a pet friendly hotel. Staff is super also, very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast, easy on/off from the freeway. Good RV parking adjacent to hotel.
Location was convenient for travel from I75 and we stayed overnight while passing through. It is a little older, with the first floor rooms situated with outdoor entry, like a motel. Upper levels do not have outdoor entry. Initially, our room was on the first floor and facing the side with the highway. It was very noisy and felt like we were camped out next to a seedy parkway since vehicles parked so close to our front door. The staff kindly gave us a different room upon request that was much quieter and felt more comfortable for our kids. I did not like having cars pulled up right to our front door. If you are sensitive to that kind of noise and environment I would suggest requesting a room on the side opposite of the hwy and not on the first floor or with hallway entry. Breakfast was OK, offered a little variety but was enough to keep the kids happy. Despite the age of the building, it was upgraded appropriately and was clean and a good value for the price.
We stay at a lot of Best Westerns when we travel and most have a similar decor. This hotel has a nice clean updated feel to it with comfy towels and linens. It also sits tucked into a quiet almost residential street which was nice and quiet. A real gem.
Stayed here on our way to Florida. A very good choice. Staff were friendly and personable. Room was clean and nice. Amenities were all in good working order. Breakfast was nice warm and kept full. Nice restaurants close by. Will stay here again.
We had driven from NC, and wanted to get some rest before continuing the last leg of our trip. This was a fairly small hotel, but our room was clean, the bed and pillows were very comfortable and surprisingly, the breakfast was quite tasty. The biscuits and gravy were really good. They had scrambled eggs, link sausage, a variety of juices, cereals, waffles and pastries. Not a 5 star hotel, but we would stay there again.
Just like any other Best western hotels, this one also had a very comfortable room and a great breakfast. The best part I like about BW is the breakfast and the variety they provide. Definitely helps when you travel with family especially with kids
Average hotel. Small room and bathroom but very quiet. Staff was friendly and breakfast was adequate. As I was in town for business I needed internet in my room but unfortunately the internet did not work. Television channels did not work properly.
This hotel was a great deal for a last minute visit to Truist Park. It's location is a bit sketchy, but within 2 miles of the park. The rooms have been redecorated and there was not carpet, which I liked. There were a few areas in the bathroom and room that could have been cleaned better, I took care of those with the Clorox wipes I carry with me. The breakfast was what we expected at the BW, nothing fancy but something for everyone.
Travelled with my daughter to attend a Braves game, chose this hotel because it was close to the park. Hotel was easy to find, even after dark. Check in was quick and easy, front desk staff polite and friendly. Room was spacious and decorated nicely. We had 2 queen beds, really liked the extra pillows. The walk in shower was spacious, my only complaint was that it had no shelf or anywhere to place shampoos or soap. Internet was adequate. Room had a fridge, microwave and small Keurig coffee maker. Plenty of towels that were nice and fluffy. The staff were all friendly and made us feel welcome. It was a short and easy drive to Truist park which was great! Overall a pleasant stay and I would definitely stay here again.
Family visit, just needed an overnight place, so we chose this hotel and we're very satisfied with the room and bed. Great night sleep! Would choose this place again if needed in the future. Did not engage in the breakfast, but for someone needing something, did not look bad.
We took our 9 year old to his first two Braves games and stayed at this hotel for 4 days. We had never stayed here before, but a relative recommended the hotel. The room was clean and smelled nice. I always check the sheets and pillows. The only negative was the white thin coverlet looked pretty on top, but was covered in paint smudges or marker of some kind on the underside. We just removed it and set it to the side. The staff, for the most part, was incredibly nice and very helpful. Crystal and Marianna at the front desk were absolutely wonderful! Warm smiles and very helpful with any questions. The breakfast each day was great! The woman serving was all smiles and kept everything well stocked. Our housekeeper was super friendly and traded our towels and washcloths as well as replenished our toilet tissue and in room coffee. The only major negative to our trip was the night counter employee, Josh. He had a terrible attitude and was disrespectful and rude. Not just to us. We observed his bad attitude on our second night and experienced it ourselves on our last night. Out of respect for my son, I waited until he was comfortably back in our room before I returned to the lobby to get Josh's name. We had been very nice and friendly when we originally entered the lobby and even asked Josh several questions about his day. He ignored us completely, and we were standing directly in front of him at the counter trying to pay for some drinks. When he returned our change he set it down behind the plastic barrier and then ignored us. We couldn't get hold of it and asked if he could push it forward. He continued to ignore us as if we weren't there. Keep in mind we were literally standing across the counter from him at the check in desk. My wife ended up pushing on the plastic barrier until it touched the register so she could slide the dollars out. The entire time he ignored us, even as we were asking him to please slide the money under the plastic. In an effort to avoid a conflict in front of my son we simply said, “Well then. I guess have a good night.” He still didn't respond…. When I returned to the lobby, his excuse was, “..I have had to deal with these baseball people all week.” I was wearing a Braves shirt…. There was more with Josh, but I have made my point. So, to wrap it up, Josh is a terrible front desk representative for this hotel and needs to be moved where he has no guest contact. The rest of the staff and management are great!
I was looking for a place close to truist park with a reasonable price .I am a best western rewards member and used my points for this overnight stay .I could not have been happier .The hotel is a 10 min drive to the ballpark .Our room was clean and the breakfast was good .I would stay here again if in the area .The battery near the ballpark was awesome with shops and restaurants ..
This was a pretty decent hotel. the breakfast had a few options. Im not sure how often it changes since it was the same the 2 days of our trip. The room was really clean and the air was already set to a comfortable temperature. I wish there was bit more lighting in the bathroom since it was only the lights being the mirror.
The outside appearance of this property was not great but the inside was updated and clean. The only thing I didn't like about the room was in our standup shower there was no place to lay your soap but on the floor of the shower. Also, the sink counter is very small and because of the location of the faucet every time you used the water the counter would get soaked. These are just little things. Overall the room was great for the price. We were there for a Braves game. Not within walking distance and no shuttle provided so had to pay more for parking for the game.
GREETINGS..The location , and staff' and customer service and social hospitality greeting was refreshing and relaxing The television reception was questionable, and the ceiling vent in the bathroom was a little loud.
Wonderful service with large comfortable CLEAN rooms! We arrived before our room was ready and the staff was very accommodating to use and our dog as we waited on a very hot day! Our stay was to see the Braves play and this was the perfect location to stay!
Very clean hotel. New rooms that have been well maintained and kept up with. Amazing breakfast. 1.6 miles from the ballpark. Easy Uber ride to the Battery. Tough walk back but more than doable. The building needs a bit of a face life but overall very satisfied with my stay.
We were given a dirty, "motel" style room on the first floor. you access the room from the outside of the hotel.. Room was disgusting. I have a 3 yr old and 6 yr old, and when we complained about the room he told us he could cancel the reservation and we could leave. It was 12:15 am after a braves game(every hotel booked) . that was simply not an option. I would never stay here again.
I booked this hotel simply because of the rating for the price. It is a value hotel, not a Hilton, but it is very clean, well cared for, well serviced establishment staffed with attentive, helpful and friendly staff. I could not find a thing to nit-pick on, not that I tried, it was a great night and I will stay here again.
Clean, simple. Great stay for the money. Everything was in working order, breakfast was nice….fresh and hot. No issues with internet connection. Front desk folks were friendly upon check in and check out
We stayed here one night during a long road trip. The front desk staff very friendly , welcoming, and informative. The room was clean, bed comfy, and shower pressure perfect. The included free breakfast was actually very good. I will stay again next time we are passing through.
Great Place to stay-Convenient, very good employees, Comfortable accommodation. Very close to Truist Park, Restaurants. Easy access from I-75 to Windy Hill Rd. Rooms have been renovated & provide more than average drawer space, roominess. I highly reccommend-good value!
This hotel is my home away from home, for good reason. The service is friendly, courteous, efficient, professional with a personal touch. From check in to your checkout you will feel welcome. The rooms are clean. Actually clean your room every day. The beds comfortable with great pillows. The rooms facing the front of the hotel are quiet. The rates are very competitive and reasonable. Breakfast is substantial. You will not go wrong selecting this small hotel for it is one of the best of the best.
Not gonna lie, we pulled up in the parking lot and I was slightly concerned. My husband and I walked into the hotel to check in and it's a whole new world inside. Our room was clean, gorgeous, and spacious. The staff was really nice and even provided recommendations for things in the area. The braves of course were not in town during our stay but this would be a wonderful hotel to stay in if you're going to a game because it's 1.5 miles from the stadium. My only slight issue is that they charged us for one night before we even got there to check in, so the payment was split.
The hotel looks a bit tired on the exterior but new and refurbished inside. Love the Keurig coffee machine with good coffee. Comfy beds. Really nice staff. They let us in early since the room was ready and we had been travelling since 4 am. Excellent value.
It was a joy to be a guest at this hotel. Staff made me feel welcomed and important. It seemed they were working for me and it was a refreshing change with everything going on with employees and the lack thereof!
The valve in the walk in shower would not move to hot. Cold shower only. We told the clerk at check out who said we could have asked for another room. OK: call desk, get dressed, gather up all our belongings, move to another room. And still make our morning appointment! Not a solution. She replied that you have to do what you have to do.
Stopped for 1 night on our way home. The only downside, it was too cool ooutside to use the pool. The staff were great, room was clean and very comfortable! Mopst definitely will stay here again opn way through foor next trips.
We stayed here on way north from Florida. Right on northern edge of Atlanta, it was a welcome sight after Atlanta traffic! Nice hotel. Easy on and off I75. Breakfast was great, above average for hotel breakfast. Good value, nice rooms. Good restaurants close by or nearby.
This is the second Best Western we stayed in this month. The cost was pretty good and they allowed pets with a moderate fee. This motel was pretty pleasant, but the first Best Western had laminated floors this one still had carpet. The room was clean and did not smell. The bathtub needed a plug if you wanted to take a bath which was not there. The breakfast was first rate for us. Overall not a bad place to stay and it was clean which is very important to us.
We stayed at this Best Western while traveling. It is conveniently right off the highway. The hotel was super clean and so was our room. The employees were all very kind and hospitable. The complimentary breakfast was very good and everything was Covid friendly and wrapped individually. We would definitely stay here again.
Stopped after a long drive, staff was knowledgeable & check in was very fast as was check out. Rooms where very clean and up to date. Easy to find off the interstate with plenty of places nearby to get food
This is the comfiest place I've stayed in a while. Pillows soft, good towels, comfy blankets. Good shampoo and soap.Clean rooms, clean hallways, nice front desk staff And great service and breakfast was hot and fresh!
After reading many reviews of hotels in the area, we called late into the evening to secure a room at this hotel. This hotel was just as good as the reviews state. We spoke with Carlos late at night to secure a room & he took great care of us. It was so nice to hear a friendly voice after 10 hours of driving. Carlos gave us a great rate & room. The hot breakfast in the morning was amazing! I love a good Belgian waffle & it was wonderful. Plenty of options hot and cold for breakfast! We stayed here on the way to & from our vacation destination. Both times were greeted by Carlos on the phone! Highly recommend this hotel.
Overall, this was a pleasant surprise. Don't be fooled by the location and looks of the hotel when you arrive (I was), this was a very good experience. I felt safe and comfortable at all times. The room was pleasant and clean, no odors and no surprises. The staff were extremely helpful and very polite. Check-in and out was quick but well explained. Breakfast are full of options. My only concern, you hear everything between rooms and outside areas. Without a doubt, I will use this same hotel when I return in December.
Three nights on the road and had three good hotels but this one was the best. Safe feeling, great beds, good tv, good tasting water and a great breakfast made this the winner. Dog was $20 extra but worth it.
The exterior wasn't much to write about. The interior was fantastic! Very clean. Decor was new and up to date. Beds we very comfortable. They allow pets for a $20 fee. The area was safe. Staff was amazing.
Basic hotel room but has Keurig, microwave, and mini-fridge. Bathroom was small but clean. Shower was always hot and had good water pressure. Had just spent 5 nights in a high end hotel before this stay and the BW bed was by far more comfortable. Only negative is lack of outdoor spaces to sit as the pool area is completely closed. There is a metal picnic table under a canopy in the back parking lot. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We were able to check in within 10 minutes. The staff was pleasant. We were not told anything about amenities, except breakfast times. The ADA bathroom had the minimum accommodations and the floors did not seem clean. Dirty carpets. Older hotel. Terrible complimentary breakfast. Brown, rotten bananas and overcooked eggs and greasy bacon.
Check in/out was easy and the front desk staff were kind. When we walked into the second floor it smelled clean, which was great. When we got into the room though there was a horrible chemical smell. It was such a strong smell it gave me an awful headache. It seems they have done some remodeling which is nice, but the faucet in the bathroom doesn't go far enough into the sink, so whenever we would wash our hands, we'd make a huge mess on the vanity. It's a decent location to the ballpark if you are coming in for a game. The breakfast was your typical continental style.
It was a nice stay, enjoyed being on the first floor with access to our vehicle right outside the door. Breakfast was great to actually sit down with the family & enjoy waffles & other items like we did pre-covid, appreciate that added detail again!! The only thing I didn't like was there wasn't any good amounts of restaurants to go to, but that's not the hotels fault. Check in & out was quick & easy.
In ATL for a Braves/Rays baseball game and this hotel was very close to Truist Park. The rooms were very nicely decorated and staff were great. Will definitely be back to this hotel in the future. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
The building looks a little rough on arrival, very small lobby and the necessary partitions for the staff make it seem smaller. The desk attendant was very friendly and efficient, both on arrival and checkout. Our room was clean and quiet, overlooking the pool. Breakfast was disappointing, with instant eggs and overdone sausage. We should've made our own fresh waffles. But since we really were there just to sleep, eat, and be on our way, it met our needs.
Best Western (Ball Park) is the only name I want to remember when traveling to Atlanta. It meets and sometimes exceeds my expectations when looking for accommodations. The staff was friendly and readily available to help. Thank you!
Clean,up to date hotel....great staff..I had no complains what so ever. I didn't have the breakfast so I can't speak to that . I will definitely stay here again the next time I am going through Marietta
My husband stayed at this Best Western to attend a graduation. The hotel is being renovated so the outside looks a little rough. BUT the newly renovated inside makes up for it. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The breakfast was hot and more than accommodating.
Reception staff was very helpful and pleasant! The room was very clean and the bed was the most comfortable on our 2 week trip. Having a hot breakfast was thoroughly enjoyed! The location was perfect, easy access off I75, with great restaurants nearby.
The hotel was nice and you could tell it was recently renovated. We went for a Braves game and it was close to Truist Park. Room was extremely clean and I would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was a full hot breakfast which was good also.
everything was fine until we found condom box on floor by bed , taking shower standing in water told owner would call but didn't , will find another hotel if im in the area again nice area felt really safe
Booked online through BW website was easy, arrived and checked in was fast and friendly even though I requested a ground floor room which was accommodated without trouble, bed was clean and comfortable.
Not a brand we usually stay at but it was a last minute overnight stop on a 20hr drive, and it was dog friendly. The exterior was tried, but the interior rooms were updated nicely. One big negative is our room had a sliding window, not a solid noise blocking window, and we were on the west side of the building which faces I 75 and the semi truck braking noise was atrocious. We sleep with ear plugs and white noise machine as well as we ran the HVAC fan ‘on' to try and drown it out to no avail, it was quite hard to sleep. We, of course didn't notice the trucks until we were in bed and by then it was too late to ask to change rooms and haul all of our stuff to a new a new room. They had a very generous complimentary breakfast spread with everything from fruits and cereal to hot food such as eggs and waffles. Overall our short stay was fine. Would consider staying again but requesting a room on the east side of the building.
looks brand new, remodeled in 2018, good/better than a Hampton Inn, nice front desk people, excellent breakfast & work-out facility, nice room & furnishings, immaculately clean, booked on phone a few hours before arrival, matched TripAdvisor rate. (Lots of taxes in GA!)
The first time that my family and I stayed here, we were very pleased with the cleanliness, the service and the affordability. With that being said, without hesitation, knowing that my family and I were returning to Georgia, I called to book another stay, and again... my family and I were very pleased.
Hotel room was nice and clean it's the best hotel I ever stayed for that price I stay at 3 times and it's the same housekeeper's are doing a great job, please keep up the cleanliness of the hotel also I like you cannot smoke in the hotel
room was clean , modern, remodeled --hot eggs and bacon, some highway noise ,close to highway but went around in circles for awhile to locate, outside access to room which was ok --charged 20 something for pet
I am excited to first get away from the norm. I will be here for event on March 21 with my son. I booked this hotel based on ratings always good see. Crystal was professional explain to me about the hot breakfast look forward to my stay. Huey
This was a GREAT place to stay in Atlanta! -Clean, spacious rooms -Room amenities actually work (phone, microwave, fridge etc.) -Great staff! From the front desk persons to the housekeeping crew, this was a GREAT show of extraordinary customer service. -Pretty accessible Atlanta metro area. Nice, quiet area in this Atlanta suburb ^_^ #HIGHLY #RECOMMENDED
Booked online during long road trip, read reviews and liked the $68 per night price. At first, outside appearance made us second guess the choice. Outdated and exterior doors to rooms. Night receptionist lacking in friendly customer service skills. Those are reasons I didn't give it 5 stars. Inside room completely updated and clean. Free breakfast was exceptional, hot scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and waffle maker (plus standard bread, fruit, cereal). Super friendly breakfast host. Very close to I 75. We would stay again, great value!
Very nice place to stay quiet and comfortable clean room and great staff location and view of the baseball stadium good eatery's in the area to accommodate you food needs but overall this is a place I'll stay at many more times
Beautiful hotel in nice safe area of near town within minutes to highway 75. King room was large and bed was very comfortable. Shower was big and water pressure strong. Good internet also. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful.
Nicely updated hotel. Guest room had very comfortable bed, updated bathroom complete with sliding barn door. The first thing we noticed, other than the obvious updates, were the abundance of outlets for charging phones, etc. That was a first! Most times there is never enough outlets. This is a dog friendly hotel, and kudos to the front desk clerk, Josh, for handling a noisy barker at 4 am. Breakfast was awesome with many hot choices available, along with many cold options. We would stay here again.
The room was nice with a good bed. The bathroom was small with very little room to move around once you showered. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. The food was not hot as it should be. The serving did not start until 7:00 a.m. on the weekend which made us a late start.
Small rooms because it's older but the remodel was nice and updated. Usually wouldn't have liked an outside entry and window right into the parking lot but perfect for COVID. No need to mask up and walk through. Aired out the room by opening up the door while we carried bags in and loved the ease of being able to park two steps from the door. Definitely an older style hotel but fairly quiet, convenient and perfect for COVID.
We booked this on the road. Everything was ready when we arrived. Room was clean and as expected. Crystal at checkout was awesome! The workout facility is shut down right now but that's to be expected.
The newly remodeled Best Western Marietta Ballpark is great for travelers. The hotel is clean and reasonably priced with an awesome location just off I-75 near the intersection of I-285. The Bob Callan trail is nearby that goes by Rottenwood Creek to the Chattahoochee river and is a nice run/walking trail.
I attempted to stay here the early hours of 9/22, driving between FL and the Midwest, I found a couple options just North of Atlanta. I found this online while driving north for around $70 per night, given I was going to be checking the early hours of the morning and leaving early perfect. I didn't book it online as I was driving, when I arrived at 2am, Josh the over night staff was planning video games and barely had time to look up. I mentioned what i seen online for pricing after he gave me a $94 per room rate, he said "you can book it there but who knows when it will come through". He also said you get charged and additonal $20 for depsoit... random and strange. So I tried and show him the ad online for the discounted rate but he could really care less, given I only had 5 hours to sleep before I had to be back on the road at 7 am, I just let it go. Crazy that the customer is showing you an ad and you refuse to offer it. Fine, his dry tone annoyed me probably more than the outdated lobby. Room was fine, updated and didn't have any odor, I turned the air on and it cooled down. Once the fan shut off all i could hear was the freeway, I put my fan app on my phone, the TV on for a short time and the fan in the room, freeway won. I tossed and turned for about 3 hours, finally I just agreed to not sleep and leave. I checked out before 6 am, not to my surprise Josh was still there. He was again dry and unwelcoming. I left, w/ my receipt in hand, with $115 less green, no sleep and no thoughts of every going to a Best Western again!
I recently stayed here, and was EXTREMELY disgusted! Very old hotel with "renovated rooms". The entire hotel wreaked of old cigarette smoke. My room smelled so bad that when the A/C turned on it was like the filter was never changed and blasted even more cigarette smell, which burned my eyes and nose. I had to keep the A/C set to a continuous fan, so that it wouldn't blast the room every time it turned on. The room was way smaller than described. All night people were in the hall yelling and slamming their doors, which literally shocked my room door. Needless to say I didn't get much sleep. The front desk is useless. The shower pressure, well there was absolutely NO pressure whatsoever; it basically trickled out of the shower head, which was also coated with calcium buildup. Don't stay here!!
The hotel open in December of 2019. They have rooms inside and doors that open direct to the public. My room was a king size bed inside. I love the service of the hotel washers are available at the hotel. Good snacks at the hotel as well as massive restaurants near. Amazing on business trip I am not a high maintenance traveler as well!
cheap breakfast room needs remodel been a lot more comfortable in other best westerns I've stayed in I used my points maybe factor in the choice they gave me. I usually always stayed in the best western hotels or motels this just wasnt my favorite one
This hotel was a much older hotel but must have been recently updated. The outside wasn't much to see but the room was very nice. The price wasn't bad at all either. Overall it wasn't a bad stay at all.
Me and my fiance stay the night as a get away from the kids. Checked out the next day and his card was changed $250 without notice for smoking in the room fee. The manager Mr.Han Soonk. Was totally arrogant and stated that they can do that he signed the contract. Not only to add insult to injury the breakfast was bottled water a honey bun and a Halo in a brown bag. Please take note do not stay here
First stop on the way home from Florida. Located less then 5 minutes off the I-75. First impression driving up was not impressed with the exterior appearance, landscaping needed. Once inside a different story. Small lobby area but nicely laid out. Room is not big but adequate, king bed, single arm chair with ottoman and desk chair. Bathroom was small, tub, toilet and vanity ( faucet installed to far back and water goes all over counter when washing. Washroom door is a barn style with the wheels on a track above the door. Bed was very comfortable as were the pillows, full size pillows, they were great. Due to co-vid19 pandemic there was no breakfast available but they had Grab and Go breakfast available. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again.
Great hotel stay on a quick trip up 75. Affordable, clean, well appointed rooms that met all of our expectations. We normally stay at higher level hotels, but this Best Western was as nice as any resorts we have stayed at on trips.
We were traveling through Atlanta on our return from a golf trip to Florida. We arrived at 1:00 AM and were received with excellent service and a very, very nice, clean room. This place is neat as a pin.
We stayed here one night on our drive north from Florida. The hotel has been completely renovated in a very upscale way. Everything is very modern. The rooms were very clean and welcoming and the bed, the linens and the pillows were the most comfortable we have had in our many travels which allowed for a great night sleep. The breakfast was very well presented and provided a good variety. The management were very helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend staying here.
Room was great. Little problem: turning shower all the way on resulted in cold water, hot was first. Sink looked cool, but faucet barely cleared bowl, with no slope. Put towel by the rim to control splashes. It was fine, it's not my sink to clean.
Always impressed, this particular BW motel was extremely clean and great location pets allowed easy access from I75 right outside of Atlanta, safe parking lot for night time arrival. We use it again!!
Driving back from Florida we needed a place to stay and found BW along the path home We booked it within 2 hrs of reaching the area Staff was great and hotel was better than I expected Would go back if I am driving through.
My grandson (5 year old) & I stayed at this location for one night when flying out of Atlanta from a multi destination trip. I wanted to be closer to the airport than my family's home in Perry, Ga that I was visiting. The hotel was convenient to the highway and there were a number of restaurants in close proximity. We ate @ Pappadeaux, which was at the end of the block. This hotel is not an upscale place or high end, but it looked & felt safe. My usual lodging is Hilton & Best Western as I participate in rewards programs with both. The ones closer to the airport were more than I wanted to spend for one night with a late check-in. It's obviously a converted renovated previous “motel”. Best Western has done a great job fixing it up. It does still have the 1st floor outside access rooms, which gives it that cheap motel feel. However the rooms on the upper floors are inside access & quite nicely appointed. It's not fancy but not low budget either. The room was very clean & met our needs quite adequately. The decor was modern as was the restroom. The sliding barn door on bathroom was a nice touch & quite fashionable, however it didn't roll on the tracks adequately, so we just left it open. My only complaint is the very noisy fan in the restroom. It's not optional to use the fan, it comes on with the light fixture & made a HORRIBLE loud grinding noise. We just used the entry light instead of turning it on after we discovered the noise (bedtime). Had I realized it sooner or been staying longer, I may have asked for another room. But since it was just a quick stop to sleep before our flight it wasn't a game changer. I would use this location again if I'm traveling under the same circumstances. I doubt I would choose it for my vacation lodging or for numerous days but it worked fine for my purposes. If you're looking for luxury, this is not the best choice. I didn't stop for breakfast due to my early flight but it looked quite adequate. The staff was friendly, however the desk clerk advised me to leave 2 hours early to make it to the airport 19 miles away in time for my flight. I felt comfortable dismissing that advice & made it w/in 25 minutes even after stopping to fill up the rental car. Overall, a pleasant stay with minimal complaints. Nice hotel.
Very clean, good location, friendly staff - rooms were recently renovated and nicely done. Well-stocked breakfast with lots of seating. The only thing that really detracted from our stay was the continous smokers and outdoor ashtray positioned a few doors down from us at the front drive-up rooms.
Newly renovated Hotel GREAT Local Owners VERY Convenient to interstate. Off 75 / windy hill rd Convenient to Ballpark. Good breakfast Comfortable bed Good water pressure Clean room and clean bathroom as well. Quiet area I will stay again when in area
Friendly staff, clean rooms and hotel. Good hot breakfast. Will stay again. Small pool. Easily accessible to things. Checking in and out was so easy. Friendly staff through out the process. Room was very nice.
This hotel had great service, clean room, comfortable bed, and great breakfast. Stayed here at the last minute and do not regret my decision. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will be staying here again.
We were driving south on I-75 to Florida from Canada, for our annual winter vacation and we saw that this hotel was newly opened, so we decided to stay. Much to our surprise, this Best Western was the nicest Best Western property, we have ever been in. The rooms were newly renovated and had high quality furnishings and linen. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast was absolutely sublime. In addition, the front desk agent, Sam was extremely polite and was knowledgeable about the surrounding area. He even pointed us out to a couple great spots to eat. All in all, it was great stay, and we will definitely be staying again, on our way back up from Florida.
