Best Western Hotel Liberty Inn, Delano

Front desk young lady was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and smelled good. We were able to stay on the bottom floor, as we are older, with lots of luggage, and a big dog. For an older hotel, the room was fairly big, and everything worked, with additional plug ins for cell, computers, etc. We loved the community, and the nearby food carts set up in the evening! We did not eat from there, but it looked wonderful.

it's Friday my last day of the week and best western helps make that they even better I appreciate the staff the location plenty of places to have something to eat around the hotel rooms are always clean There's snacks available unfortunately I have to leave early in the morning by one or 2 AM and they always give me a snack to take with me thanks a lot for everything

I had an appointment to do my hair for a wedding early in the morning and I call Front desk for an iron because there was none in the room and when she answer she said that there was supposed to be one there whoever clean the room they reported that there was an iron there I told her no there's no iron I need one because I need to go to my appointment and she continue saying and making me feel like I stole the iron it was around $10 iron come on I have better than that at home she make me feel so uncomfortable I will never go back to that hotel ever again.

I enjoyed my stay and definitely will be back! Thank you for everything! The room was so neat and clean! The staff was very friendly and very professional. I will be recommending this place to my friends!

Not worth the price. In no way is this a 3 star hotel. Should be a 1 or 2 star. Noisy, thin walls and windows, poor lighting, poor working faucet and showerhead in the shower, breakfast was disgraceful

Clean room. Staff UNFRIENDLY upon checkin. NO elevator to 2nd floor. AC wasn't working upon checkin. Went downstairs and staff was asleep with head on counter. After saying AC wasn't working, she looked at me with blood shot eye and said here is your new room. Please stay at the Hyatt

I enjoy this motel from the gals at the front desk to the coziness of the beds. Always clean, has good internet ,fridge and micro. Good truck parking. Breakfast is now a grab and go. Nice warm pool and hot tub, both indoor.

Extremely outdated, Bathroom was disgusting dirty around the base of the toilet, a hole in the inside of the tub that was filled with a big blob of something to keep it from leaking. Broken cracked hair dryer that didn't work. WiFi only worked in the hall. We could hear the people in the room above us. The exterior & lobby was quite nice looking but not the case in the room.

We stayed here on our way to Ridgecrest. I am glad it was for only one night as the sound of the train which runs in the distance kept me awake for one night. I couldn't relax in this hotel. Room was fine, clean although a little dated. Staff friendly. No water in the room, no safe or microwave but small fridge. There were no toiletries in the room and I wondered if house keeping had simply forgotten. Bed was OK but the pillows had seen better days. Breakfast was good. Good choice - bacon, eggs, cereal, yoghurts, waffle machine and a variety of pastries. Flavoured tap water was available in recpetion which was a nice touch. Breakfast was self service and the dining room was cramped: very small. The car park was full of trucks but it is an agriculture area. The trucks were all gone in the early hours of the morning and the car park was empty. There are a few restaurants nearby along with a good Denny's diner right next door in the car park. It was OK for a nights' stay.

Clean, good breakfast, THE BEST tv/cable listings (tons of channels) heated indoor pool jacuzzi and sauna, next to 2 - 24 hr restaurants (Jack and Denny's) friendly pleasant staff. Definitely recommended

The walls and ceiling were so thin we could hear everything going on in the room above us. We could hear voices and the bed banging against the wall (insert imagination here). Alerted staff and they said they would “see if they will answer their phone”. Noice continued most of the night.

Everything was awesome. We have lots of hotels to choose from in Delano but this is our favorite spot. The staff is always helpful and it really is awesome how good of a breakfast they serve. Plus during summer time the pool is a major plus.

We had a wonderful stay here it was nice and quiet we're from Los Angeles and it's a big difference from the fast paced of everyday life. We always stay at Best Western we like that we have a refrigerator and microwave in our room and the free breakfast in the morning we enjoyed their indoor heated pool and jacuzzi and the staff was nice and pleasant we have family in Delano so every time we come I think we're going to stay here

Stopped here on a road trip, and was not too surprised by the exterior appearance or location. When I first found this hotel, I had to even look up the location of Delano on a map! This hotel is literally 2 minutes off of 99, the backbone highway of the eastern central valley. Delano is a small farming and agriculturally oriented community, and it shows - just across the street from the hotel is a vineyard! Very cool. The hotel itself is simple, a shoe-box shape with 2 floors and one main portico entrance. Next door is a fast food place, across the corner is another and a small country restaurant and gas station. The intersection is stop sign controlled, a sign of the still lazy pace of this valley in this particular town, There is a downtown further south a few miles, but this corner is the way I like it - quiet and relaxed. However, when you enter the hotel you may be surprised. I was greeted by a friendly and efficient young lady who checked me in quickly, and I was already taking in the sights. The lobby is large, open to the 2nd floor, and features a small gathering area off to one side, a door to the indoor pool (wow!) behind that, and a 24-hour coffee, tea, oatmeal and more station on the other side of the lobby, next to the door for the morning breakfasts. Already I am impressed. There is an elevator but needing to stretch after a 4 hour drive, I took the stairs up and quickly found the room. The hallways are interior, so you can relax and feel safe, and the noise you hear is minimal, thanks to nice carpeting and solid doors. The room is quite large, with an easy chair in the corner, next to a window framing that vineyard across the street. The sink and vanity are just inside the door, with the shower/tub and toilet in their own room, great for couple needing to multi-task in the mornings. Standard TV and work desk are there as well, along with a mini-fridge, microwave and small personal coffee maker. Everything I need for a comfortable night. The bed was indeed comfortable, and I made an early night of it. In the morning, I could smell fresh cooked bacon in my room. The breakfast offered bacon and more. Potatoes, scrambled eggs and assorted breads, bagels, muffins and cereals were also offered. Hard boiled eggs, and yogurts and even soy milk were available in a small fridge. And here, as in the lobby, fresh apples and oranges were available 24-hours. Didn't use the pool or sauna, but always next time! All in all, a great place to take a break.

I have stayed at this Best Western every time I was in the area. The Front Desk Agents, Myra, Neilly, Julianna, Joanna and George were always professional and accommodating every time I stayed with them. They always did a great job in ensuring my room was up to standards and anything I needed was taken care of. I have been staying at this Best Western for the better part of the year. I could not express in words my gratitude in how they treated me. The house keeping staff Ede, Karina, Delmi, Fanny, Erika and Vicky always ensured that my room was cleaned and whatever extra items I needed they took care of right away. I always ask for an extra blanket and they ensure that it is always there. I don't have anything but amazing words for the house keeping staff. I couldnt get any change and the house keeping supervisor Ede went out of her way and bought me a drink at the vending machine. The Hotel is very fortunate to have an employee like Ede. Mathew the maintenance man was always there when I had an issue. He always responded when I had an issue that needed to be resolved. Last but not least, the General Manager, Alma, makes me feel like family. She goes out of her way to accommodate me and makes my stay very comfortable and pleasant. I would highly reccommend this Hotel to any traveler, family and friends if they need a place to stay and are in the area.

From the first to the last, the staff was smiling and happy. Their positive behavior was welcoming to us as we had driven many hours. The staff was well trained and enjoyed thier jobs. It was a good place to feel good.

The room was comfortable and the beds were comfortable. But there were bugs in the bathroom. Yuck. They did offer us another room but I was asleep and my assistant did not want to wake me. In the morning, I talked to the front desk staff and let them know again about the bugs. They comped my room and assured me they would get it cleaned up.

We travel to Delano at least once a year to visit family and the Best Western Liberty is always ready for us. It's a little dated but clean, and the staff is efficient and friendly. We appreciate the coffee and iced water available at all times in the lobby, and if course we appreciate the breakfast.

I rated this poor because of the smell in the room, which was overpowering. There is a sign on the front door of the hotel that says there are carcinogenic agents in the hotel. The desk clerk told me it was because of the cleaning products. I am sensitive to odors so this was not pleasant. Because I checked in before dark I was able to open the window for several hours and I left the bathroom exhaust on but the odor never dissipated. Other than that, the room was clean, the staff was very freindly and helpful and the location was good. It is kind of a one horse town ( a plus) so not a lot of choices for eating but there was a Denny's next door and a gas station across the street and easy access to the highway. The shower wasn't as powerful as some I have enjoyed and there is no grab bar for safety. Except for the smell, I would have given this a higher rating.

I just checked in. The AC was broken while it's now above 80 deg outside at night. Front desk told me no other room available. This AC must be broken before i got here. They should not sell the room with broken AC. Don't stay at this hotel.

We recently stayed at best western and it was the worst hotel I stayed at. To start off front desk took too long to get us checked in. The bathroom smelled when we arrived to the room. The staff was very rude. Never staying here again.

This place is right off the freeway, in the same parking lot as a Denny's and gas station. Not much here. Room was honestly fine, but be ready for some noise from ice machine in hallway and through the walls.. mold-smelling AC, WiFi is not working, hot tub is not working, even the luggage cart had a flat tire... we stayed our one night and got on the road ASAP. Desk person apologized but nothing she could do. It's at least priced a bit less. Best Western has really gone downhill.

This is just like a Best Western, except the Wi-Fi doesn't work, the hot tub is ice cold, the luggage cart has a flat tire. So it's just like a Best Western only a Best Western having a bad day. other than that it's perfectly acceptable and exactly what you would expect. The staff was very friendly.

We were going to Sequoia national park so it is a little bit over an hour away but the rooms were clean the price was good the staff was friendly. I also enjoyed the breakfast selection that they had. No I've been I've machine which was frustrating with 90° weather.

Everything was great, no complaints. Clean room, comfy beds, lot's of movies on tv, the internet was great, the staff was helpful and friendly. We loved the breakfast , lot's to choose from. Definitely staying here again!

The staff in the hotel is friendly and will help you as needed but the rooms look outdated and the design of having the restrrom sink and shower area seperate did not go well with the room. The mattress seemed a bit too firm that caused a back ache and the pillows are too hard that makes just want to tosss them on the floor. The shower head was hard to adjust and made it a bit difficult to shower in but also needs a bit of an upgrade for a better experience. The breakfast was OK but I think they can do better, but the WiFi connection needs major work and with the slow speeds that are in service makes it difficult to use your wireless devices. The cleaning staff will need to pay more atttention to the room cleaningness since I found someonelses sock at the bottom of the bed (edge of it) being covered by the cover.

I was there for the famous race. When I arrived at the hotel the receptionist recived me with a big smile and very friendly I can not remember her name I only know that it is a girl with red glasses sorry. Breakfast very well as always I like the variety of bacon and potatoes. The rooms very clean, I like that the pool is inside and of course I recommend it.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. The people were friendly, and the room was clean. The breakfast was appealing and well stocked. It was conviently located. We frequently travel between Los Angeles and Sacramento, so I know we will stay there again.

I came to a wedding with my family and I stayed in this hotel I was in love with the Christmas decoration they have, the receptionist with red glasses, from Saturday and Sunday in the morning very friendly always helping and bringing coffee and breakfast , that is the attitude that they have to have in hotels. everything very clean and nice thank you Best Western in Delano

I had a business trip to go to and my friend recommended I go to this hotel. It is a very good hotel, it's very clean and comfortable. The maids were very friendly and they always greet you with a smile. The manger is always very helpful. I liked all kind of tea they have. I definitely recommend this hotel

We stayed here in Delano for a family wedding and when we checked in the receptionist was friendly and nice, however on Saturday morning there was a different receptionist when me and my family walked in to the breakfast room at 7:20 there was no hot food left at all except a few potatoes. I was embarrassed to go tell the receptionist that there was no more food, I thought she would go in and check but she was just sitting in the front desk looking at her phone and didn't look up or go check on breakfast. We had to go back to our rooms because we were getting ready for the wedding and we didn't get to eat until the afternoon! When we checked out on Sunday morning however with a different receptionist there was plenty of food and I asked who the girl working on Saturday morning was and she said her name was Bianca. So we weren't happy with the girl Bianca's lack of customer service unfortunately.

We checked out on Sunday October the 28th about 10ish or so, the receptionist which name I didn't get but she had long gray hair and fake lashes on was extremely rude!! She took the room key from my husbands hand and didn't even ask how our stay was or if we wanted a receipt, she didn't even say good morning or even talk to us!! I'm guessing she's not a morning person, so why would they even have her working a morning shift!! Everything else was excellent but because of this rude and mean receptionist we will not be returning to this best western in Delano and would not recommend anyone stay here, at least not when this girl is working mornings. Believe it or not but the friendliness of the receptionists really does make a humongous difference in your stay it can either be a good positive stay or a horrible stay because of the way your treated and talked to. I would suggest not having such a rude non morning person working a morning shift.

This Best Western is one of my favorites!! Always a friendly face at the front desk, rooms are nice and clean, bedding is very comfortable, has a fridge and microwave. Nice indoor heated pool and hot tub! Plenty of parking for small and large vehicles. Restaurants are right next door. Breakfast is included. It consists of potatoes, eggs, meat, wonderful hot sauce (homemade) and the usual continental items.

Through no fault of their own - all my fault - our reservation was incorrect. Shantal was absolutely wonderful in fixing everything and allowing us check in. The room was clean and comfortable and we had a quiet night, sleeping peacefully. The internet worked perfectly and the complimentary breakfast was adequate. We will definitely return.

My family visited this hotel for a church event approx. 8 yrs. ago and they were very pleased-so pleased that they would return. This was my 1st visit. The location is great with restaurants & a K-Mart close by. The staff was friendly & helpful. I suspect there is a heavy turnover. Although it's been renovated there are signs of wear. The TV remote was missing & there wasn't a problem getting another. However, the TV wasn't working & couldn't be replaced until the following morning. Thank goodness for laptops & smartphones. The mattress was lumpy & there wasn't enough counter space in the accessible bathroom. Not a big deal-something we've worked around. On the 1st night I found & killed 2 cockroaches & 3 on the 2nd morning. I kept this away from my disabled wife knowing she'd want to leave if she knew. Finding another hotel in this area would be a challenge on weekends, so I stuck it out. We made reservations months ago & prepaid for our stay. We've used Best Western for at least 30 years & have never been disappointed. We really liked staffing & service, but anything crawling in a hotel room can be a deal breaker. We will not be staying at this hotel again.

My husband and I stayed at this Best western on Saturday, the check in was fast and easy we were greeted by a smiling receptionist, our room was clean. We were getting ready to head out on Sunday and we stopped in at the breakfast area to eat before we left to our destination, there was a few people eating so there was little food left so I went to the front desk area and asked the lady very politely if we can possibly get more eggs and some milk, she said she would go in a bit because she was busy, so I walked back and waited for the food, it was about 8:05 when we went in to the breakfast area and 25 minutes later she still hadn't went in, I walked back out and asked again and she said that breakfast was about to be over so she couldn't make any more eggs, I told her that she said earlier she would go in so we waited but she never went in and she responded that she was busy. I don't understand what she was busy doing because the breakfast area was a mess, someone had spilled milk on the floor and she never went in to clean and there was waffle batter everywhere, I told her that I wanted to speak to a manager and she told me to call the hotel on Tuesday morning. I asked for her name and I believe she said Blanca, she wasn't the very nicest lady. My husband and I had to go over to the Denny's next door to have breakfast instead

All was very good except the front desk woman Cristina, she was rude and obnoxious. She was sitting on her phone not minding anything else. The lady's that checked us in were very nice and helpful but this woman at night was nothing but rude

the rooms are great the pillows were fantastic that the bed was quite comfortable the staff is amazingly friendly the breakfast was excellent what else can I say was a great night sleep and was totally refreshing I did not use the pool but it look great.

Check-in staff nice and friendly; fast service. Other staff friendly as well. Room very comfortable and clean. FYI this hotel is primarily used by travelers visiting the jail on weekends. Weren't aware of this upon booking. One restaurant within walking distance but other than that; fast food is the only option.

Thank you for taking the time to review our property. I do not know where you got your information from, but our hotel is only about 5% used by prison visitors on weekends. Most of our weekend guest come to visit family, parties, funeral or people just passing through. I am sorry that you did not know this, but we have 4 restaurants within walking distance and 2 fast food restaurants close by. If you ever come stay with us again, please ask our staff and they will be able to provide you with this information. We look forward to seeing you again. Thank you

We were on our way home from the Grand Canyon, and after a Sand Stoem through the Mojavi, it was a great hotel for the location. We arrived in Delano and the service was great. Just wish you had an elevator for those that dont plan ahead for their bad knees. We made it work.

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful, coffee was hot. We needed an accessible room on this trip, and the only negative was no counter space or shelving near the bathroom sink. Curling iron would not sit on the sink without falling off.

Just off US99 between Fresno and Bakersfield, this quiet little out of the way hotel has some very friendly and helpful people working there. Not much to around the area, but if you find yourself needing to get off the road and a good place to rest, this is your destination in the valley.

The worst night I have ever had at a hotel. The wall were paper thin, they put us in the closest room to the lobby and all night I could here loud talking , walking heavy overhead . I finbaly banged on the wall to get them to be quiet and called the front desk. The girl offered to call the noisy guests in both rooms but if still took some time for them to quiet down.

Easy to access off of freeway and found front desk staff very friendly. Busy place with large rooms and very comfy beds. Breakfast filling and well stocked. Chantal who worked both the front desk and the breakfast room was fantastic and made our stay more enjoyable.

The Liberty Inn was very clean,the rooms were spacious and comfortable; there was Christmas décor which made the place feel festive,BTW the tree was beautiful. The food was good and the staff was very friendlyand accomendating. We will be back for future stays.

Older hotel but nice despite. Very conveniently located with a Denny's, a fast food restaurant and a gas station in same parking area. Rooms are clean and large. Only drawback is stairs only to upper floor (no elevator). Nice hotel when traveling on 99 between northern and southern California, would stay here again.

We had an enjoyable experience at the Best Western Liberty Inn in Delano. Two facts I was not aware of before reserving the hotel: sinks are in the rooms, not bathrooms and there is no elevator for this two story small hotel. The side of the hotel faces a Denny's, Jack's, and Perko's Café within walking distance. Location is right off of Highway 99. We had a 2 bed room on the second floor. I advise staying in a room away from the staircase. We finished our business by 3 PM on the second day of our stay. The hotel graciously did not charge us for the second night. Breakfast was fine. Comfortable small hotel.

We stayed here because of the convenient location. Could not have been more happier with the decor, the 2 restaurants that were in walking distance and the friendliness of the hotel staff. Although the lobby was just upgraded, the rooms need the same love, especially the bathrooms are in need of a facelift. Other than that was very impressed with all.

This hotel was welcoming and comfortable. I'm a light sleeper and they graciously accommodated me when I asked for their quietest room. Although the hotel is near a busy road, I was impressed by how well the closed windows block out sound and I didn't hear any noise from other rooms. On a cool night outside, I stayed warm without having to use the heater. The staff was helpful, agreeing to keep the freezer pack from my cooler in their office freezer overnight. I was also happy to have a hot breakfast of eggs and potatoes instead of the usual sugar and carbs that are typically offered for hotels at this price. A couple things to note for planning. First, the hotel is the go-to place for workers in the area so make sure to book ahead because it fills up. Second, there is no elevator and those with mobility challenges should book a room on the first floor.

Hubby and I had a lovely 2 night stay on 10th and 11th September 2017. Rooms lovely and clean. Nice touch with the fridge in the room. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. 100% recommend would have given a 5 but breakfast was cold on both mornings..

Staff was very helpful with making sure that my friends and I were able to stay for the second night. The rooms are decorated very nice. A/C worked very good and was not noisy. Rooms are well insulated. External noise could not be haard.

Came to Delano to visit a family member and enjoyed my stay at Liberty Inn. This is the second time I've stayed here and I enjoyed the staff, room decor and comfort and the amenities. Also, close to other establishments that I can get to easily. I enjoy feeling safe and relaxed there. I will be coming back and this hotel is my first choice!!!!

Stayed two nights here on business. Good price, and average free breakfast. However, one evening some of the staff of one of the contractor groups that were staying at the hotel turned the front of the hotel into a hang out beer drinking fest. There were 5 men that from 4 pm until about 6:30 pm sat in the entrance of the hotel drinking beer and talking. while they were not roudy, it looked unattractive and the hotel staff obviously allowed this to happen. Also, on my last morning there my room became infested with some bugs, that the staff said were local to the area and that they could not combat. Thus, will avoid this hotel next time.

If you find yourself in Delano, this hotel is ok but not a great hotel by any means. I stayed at the hotel for the second time recently and found the staff less than helpful in trying to find me another room other than the one next to the common room/patio area where everyone was congregating after work and the place noisy. While it quieted down at around 9 pm, I found an old can of soda and a grasshopper paid me a visit while I was watching TV. Because I stay in Delano on business sometimes, I may still end up staying at the hotel again but you may want to move on down the road to find another hotel.

Nice clean hotel, good to stop by when you on vacation nice staff , for sure well use next time. Good when you go to the park it is aprox. 1,5 hr but it is nice to save the $ for something else on the kids.

I enjoy staying here with my family. Very clean, comfortable and the food is decent. All the staff is very helpful and friendly. This is our go to hotel and I am bummed when they are sold out. I have stayed at two other hotels in the area and this is the one I prefer.

On our previous stays there were no problems at all, however the usual desk clerk was not on duty. We were charged twice for our room, and when discussed the issue with desk clerk to reverse the problem the wrong codes were entered into the computer. We called the credit card company, but since the codes were entered wrong we had to wait to have our money replaced; not acceptable! In our previous stays I had nothing but high praise for this location, the corporate office was contacted, however no word back as of yet.

Great place to stay at when traveling to Delano CA. My family and I enjoyed everything about the Hotel such as the indoor pool, breakfast and specially the hospitality given to us by the personal there. When we first arrived there we were greeted by a young lady by the name of Naomi she made me feel like home. Great hotel to stay at when traveling to Delano, CA. There is no competition between Best Western and those other cheap little hotels, great service, cleanliness, free Wi-Fi & breakfast! AWESOME PLACE!

We made resurvations through our Costco membership service as we determined where our next stay needed to be as we traveled. We arrived very late and were checked in smoothly. Slept well in clean comfortable beds. Fast internet service.

Great hotel, indoor pool and breakfast. Nice staff and very clean room. We only stayed one night while on our way to San Diego. hot tub was great, kids loved swimming. Comfortable beds. Recommend this hotel.

Ice cold swimming pool water even though it's an indoor pool. Not very friendly front desk staff. No fitness center. Some of the appliances in room did no work during my last stay. Not a lot of options in Delano though.

Train noise and foul smelling room was terrible. The train ran several times during the night,blowing it's horn. Room smelled like urine/sewer...toilet seal was broken,possibly causing sewer gas to leak into room. Stairs were filthy, unknown when they were last vacuumed

This property is the most well-kept BW I have ever stayed in, with a two-story, Hilton-caliber foyer. Given that Room 203 is over the pool, the disturbance from downstairs was minimal. But we could have done without the constantly screeching child in the next room. Somebody had tried to keep the irritation to the minimum, by putting that party in a room with no room on one side. Unfortunately, our room was on the other.

Great Western Delano California was quick check in and out. Clean rooms, indoor pool, staff helpful with any questions about the area and will print out a map of your destination. . Breakfast could be better

I loved it. The indoor swimming pool was very convenient to go to. My children loved it. The breakfast was easy access and delicious. The coffee was fresh. It is close to the freeways and also. close to my family member's home. The staff was helpful. The rooms were very comfy and clean. The pillows are to die for.

We stayed at Best Western for business. The staff made our stay enjoyable. They were extremely friendly and helpful. I was able to bring my son who enjoyed the breakfast and pool. Every morning he was greeted by the staff who make us feel welcome. The hotel was clean and the pool was nice for the family to relax and enjoy after work.

Staying in this dead town of Delano is only tolerable because we get to stay at this Best Western. Have no complaints of this establishment nor its staff. Its next to places to eat, freeway on ramp and gas stations.

It is a c+ Hotel , it has a nice indoor pole and hot tub. It has good parking out front. The rooms are average. Beds are a little firm for me. Bathroom a little small. Showers are good. Walls are a little thin. You will be able to hear the room next door. With my TV it did not have closes captions. However , I was told that they do. The rooms are a little worn. But , for the cost of the room. It is okay.

This is literally my second home. I stay here about 3 weekends out of the month. Rooms are very clean, staff is great and the free breakfast every morning is great. The price is reasonable, sometimes they have events where it can get a little pricey but so worth it.

We stopped on our way to Yosemite after flying into LAX early evening. From LAX it was an easy drive taking around 2'45" including a quick food stop enroute. Friendly and easy check in. Good sized room and a comfortable bed. Air condition rattled each time it kicked in and there seemed to be a train each hour blowing its horn. Overall what you'd expect in this price range and would be happy to book again but ask for a room away from the railway line.

I've stayed in nice Best Western Inns but I must say this one needs some work. I know that they cater to many construction and agriculture business workers. We stayed I the first floor. They have a second floor but with no elevator. Only stairs. The carpet in our room had dark stains, like maybe oil from boots. No toiletries other than a small bottle of shampoo. Their breakfast was not great. A waffle machine, round pre-cooked scramble eggs, sausages, juices, cereal. Was not impressed. A no frills hotel.

Everything was good about our stay except for the square sleeping pillows. Hotels are doing this and it completely sucks!! It is a decorating look and they all need to stop it and go back to providing comfort and a good sleep for the guest. It completely ruins the nights sleep!!!!!

Friendly staff. Bed was very comfortable. They have a pool and hot tub. They had several options for breakfast. The room was very clean.Overall great experience . I have toddler so the girl in the front gave her a little toy and while check in she was sitting playing with her toy.

Overall the stay wasn't bad. A little problem with check-out that was hopefully taken care of (We will see when credit card bill arrives). The place was very hot. They weren't using the air conditioning even though it was 92 degrees and the one in the room wasn't very strong. But overall as I said it was a good stay and we will stay again.

Staff very professional and courteous. Always ensure that our room requests are met. Rooms are clean, beds comfortable. Only negative is the air conditioner...a bit noisy. Easy off and on access from the highway.

I have never had an unpleasant experience at a Best Western, the people are always friendly, my room has always been clean and comfortable. I've used Best Western on the East Coast as well as the West, great experience every time.

I had registered for a King Bed, and when we walked into our room I saw it was a Queen bed. Our room was given to our traveling companions, and we got their room. We were exhausted, and relented to just go with the Queen. So glad the bed was quite comfortable despite the mix-up. But when it was time to check-out, the front desk clerk printed out the receipt incorrectly and didn't know how to change it, fix it. The clerk was young, and you could tell inexperienced, so no fault of his own.

Great place to stay very clean room, and the staff was great, the lady at counter both days at check in and check out was very nice she had a great personality when it came to bringing more food during breakfast and all through the time spend at the hotel.

We have stayed at Liberty Inn several times on our way home from Palm Springs. It is predictable Best Western service - effecient and effective. The beds are always comfortable and it is good to have a hot breakfast before starting out on the road again.

The hotel is obviously new and very conveniently located. It is quiet even though close to the 99. The rooms large and the bed is comfortable. It has a good complimentary breakfast with both hot and cold breakfast items.

I've been a road warrior for over 40 years, and I've stayed at my share of 5-star hotels and places where you wouldn't let your dog sleep. I stayed at this hotel for one night while in business in the area, having chosen it based largely on the reviews I read here and on Yelp. IMHO, those reviews simply do not comport with my experience. On plus side, the hotel hit all of the road-warrior's Prime Criteria: the personnel were friendly, the bed was reasonably comfortable, everything in the room worked, I saw no bugs, and the room (on east side of hotel, away from the freeway that's practically in the lobby) was reasonably quiet (except the walls are thin – I heard the guests next door talking until 11:00 p.m.). That said, here's what I didn't like: Uninviting entrance: as soon as I pulled into the parking lot I knew I had made a mistaken and wanted to leave, but it was too late. To say it's stark is an understatement — not a tree or shrub in sight, the blacktop of the parking lot right up to the walls of the building. Dumpy lobby: the lobby was stark, very dated, sparsely furnished, not a place where you would want to kill time. No elevator! It's a friggin' two-store hotel, yet there's no elevator! NONE! Just a huge staircase. However, the manager on duty did offer to carry my bags to my room, and did so without waiting for a tip. Room clean but very worn. Although the room appeared clean, everything was very dated and very worn. The carpet should have been replaced years ago. And there wasn't enough of the super-cheap furniture for the room, leaving vast expanses of empty wall. The walls were painted off-white, but with numerous patches from where something had once been attached, and very little in the way of photos or paintings on the wall. Uninviting at best, and certainly depressing. As I mentioned, everything worked. However the 2-prong electric outlets on the desk- and bedside-lamps were so worn and loose out that the plugs of my devices couldn't connect to them, so I was unable to charge my laptop or iPhone. (I eventually did get one to work for my phone but it was very iffy). The lamps must have been decades old. Breakfast SUCKED! Although this hotel offered a free breakfast as do most such hotels, this one sucked big time! There were no eggs or sausage, no hot cereal; those do-it-yourself waffles were the only hot item; everything else was super-cheap pastries, cold cereal, a little fruit and hard-boiled eggs. And the room was uninviting, like a closet. I took one look and went to Denny's next door (which gave me a 15% discount for having stayed at this hotel). Bottom line: This place needs to be put out of it's misery. It's very badly in need of a renovation, although that wouldn't fix the elevator problem. Until that happens, look elsewhere! p.s. – The Best Western in Wasco, about 25 miles south, is MUCH, MUCH better in ALL regards. This place is an outlier in my experience with Best Western.

I have stayed here several times over the past ten years or so and I have always been pleased. It's clean, quiet, and inexpensive. My rooms have always been clean and comfortable. It's never too loud either. I do wish the breakfast room was a bit larger since it was crowded quite early in the morning--that's my only frustration. Nevertheless, I will no doubt stay here again. The staff was polite and helpful, the place has held up over the years and the location is convenient to several eateries near by.

The staff was courteous and the hotel was as expected. Would rate higher if the hotel had the normal rack raqte but all the hotels within a 50+ mile radius increase their rack rates several times for this event.

We stay at the Liberty Inn each time we visit family in Delano be it celebrations, holidays an/or funerals. Clean and comfortable rooms. However, this time around we noticed that the beds were a little on the soft side and recommend that the mattresses be replaced and the towels a little too thin. Exemplary staff especially Christina and Naomi who have always gone out of their way to ensure that we have a comfortable stay at the hotel. They have also been very helpful assisting me with making reservations at Out of State Best Westerns.

We stayed at the Best Western Liberty Inn for one night when passing through Delano. The front reception staff were outstanding in their service and attentiveness. The upstairs room (no elevator) we received was large, clean and pleasant. It had a nice feel to it. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was good. The room was equipped with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and flat screen TV. However, the bathroom had the worst design I have ever come across. There was no possible way to open the door without hitting a person sitting on the toilet. The only toiletries provided were soap and shampoo. Apparently Best Western has a cost cutting measure of requiring you to ask for lotion or a shower cap. We found the room quite hot, even with the window open. When we called the front desk, we were directed to put the air conditioning on. In February? Though the pool seemed a trifle murky, the water temperature was reasonably warm. The hot tub was delightfully hot. The included breakfast was quite good and served in a separate breakfast room. The juices tasted real and the fresh fruit was plentiful. Protein was available in the form of hard boiled eggs and yogurt. There was real, fresh milk and cream cheese kept in a refrigerator. The pastries and the bagels were fresh. A waffle maker was there for the young at heart!

I love this hotel. This is my second time here and both times the beauty at the front desk, Naomi, was the best ever. She is the sweetest and was easily the most helpful person I've ever dealt with when staying at a hotel. She did everything she could to accommodate me... called the cleaners constantly to let me check in early, gave my dog a treat, answered all of my silly questions and even offered to drive to show me to the nearest park that I could safely take my puppy! Kudos to this place :)

We only stay at the Best Western Liberty Inn when we travel to Delano. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful if need be. The only reason why I gave 4 Starts in stead of 5 this time is because the mini fridge in the room froze all our drinks and the little bit of food we had and we had to throw out the food, obviously it was ok for the drinks.

High price for this location and facility. As well no breakfast left at 7:45 a/m, as it has several construction workers staying there building 2 prisons and they eat or take all the food...nothing left. You have to go next door to Denny's to eat...we just took off and got something in Bakersfield, CA about 30 miles away.

We stayed here on our trip from Oklahoma to Washington. It happened to be New Years Eve and there were many families with children at the hotel. The management moved us on request when a large group of children were placed in the room above us. The ceilings are very high but could really use some sound proofing because we could here everything going on upstairs. The breakfast area is very small and the room had the shortest easy chair and ottoman I have ever seen. It looked like children's furniture. There was no suitcase stand in the room and it really is an essential item needed for the traveler. Word to hotels, please keep three bath towels in your king rooms! Some of us need a towel for our bodies and a towel for our wet hair.

I was forced to bring my yapping dog, and despite her nuisance and complaints, the hotel staff took excellent care of her. She is a service animal but she hated being alone in the room.The staff took care of her for me. Thank you!

You tend to get what you pay for at a Best Western Inn, and at Liberty Delano it was no exception. Large clean, quiet room, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water so what more could you ask for. We selected this hotel based on previous experience with Best Western and we were proved correct. The staff were excellent on reception and the breakfast was suitable, but not excellent. Wifi was free and fast.

Hotel needs remodeling. I could hear every single thing from the second story. No sound barriers at all Foot steps, TV, shower, it was very loud. The freeway was quieter than the second story. Wasn't the guest it was the hotel and the structure.

You do not come to Delano because you are seeking a boutique experience --- in any realm. However, this motel is clean, and the staff works hard to make it a good value. The only consideration (for me) is that there are two levels and no elevator. When you are carrying lots of heavy materials, this can be an issue. generally, I requested a ground floor and got it. However, this motel also fills up with truckers, so book as soon as you know. The breakfast is a little scanty, but there are hard-boiled eggs. And the price is right.

An average Best Western, but close to the highway, shopping, gas stations and food. Staff is helpful and attentive to our needs. Minor problems should be easily fixed. Television cable service needed attention. Beds were comfortable and towels though thin were adequate. Room size is good, and restaurants were in walking distance. This was our second stay here, and given similar circumstances we will stay here again.

Ive been coming to this hotel twice a year for the last 5 years, consistent quality. There is not much to choose from in this area, Im glad this hotel is there for me and my friends, as the drags at Famoso are freaking awesome!!!

Loved the location, very easy access to the freeway. Felt completely safe and comfortable. We attended a family reunion at a nearby park. Many out-of-town family members stayed at this hotel and we were all very satisfied. Would stay here again.

Clean, comfortable motel with friendly staff. Easy on and off access to the highway. Great place to stay when visiting family and friends! However, was disappointed with the continental breakfast they offered and the hours during the weekend need to be extended.

the rooms are wonderful, the staff pleasant,the continental breakfast was good. I recommend this hotel to those traveling in this area.The hotel comes with a pool and the freeway is right down the street. The hotel is near food establishment within walking distance and a liquor store too.

Stayed here for 2 weeks on business. Nice staff, cleanrooms, decent breakfast, very comfortable bed. It's s best western in a farming town, so don't expect the Ritz. I suggest staying on the first floor as there is no elevator, and staying at the far end of the hall, not near the desk where there was construction which woke me up from sleep. I would ask the hotel in advance if there will be construction before you book.

Each time we travel to Delano, CA, we ONLY stay at Best Western. The bed is so comfortable and we sleep like babies!!! The complimentary Continental Breakfast is really good. There is a nice variety to choose from. The pool is really nice too!!

Place is pretty rundown, it's been remodel hopefully will be better in the near future Do not use the pool, if you don't want to hurt your eyes with the ridiculous quantity of chlorine Employees are very nice

Very clean, smells nice, people are kind and helpful any time of the day. Internet was good, maybe a little bigger choice for breakfast would be fine, but we had one, good enough. The swimming pool hours are friendly, we came in the late night hours and were still able use it.

This place is great the people that work there are very nice and helpful the breakfast was great and the bed was very confey Was very pleased with the room and the appeal f this place. I would recommend this Best Western to everyone
