Great nights rest, very good breakfast, pleasant staff. The parking lot was in great shape with plenty of light and spots. The beds were comfy and the room was spacious, with plenty of light. The WI-FI was excellent ans never dropped at all. Nice size flat screen tv.
This motel gets a poorer rating because there was nasty road construction in front of the motel. It was difficult to get in and out, onto a very busy highway. The room was clean. The parking lot was very well lit. The bathroom sink had a very inefficient fluorescent light around the mirror. The breakfast was excellent. Biscuits & gravy, sausage patties and eggs. Waffles, cereals, fruit and assorted bread products were also available.
What a delightful surprise!! This hotel is darling and so impeccably clean. The service was so very friendly and our room was immaculate. But the biggest surprise was the pool. It was so clean and well kept. There are many extra touches at this property from the very pretty landscaping to the plants located throughout the property. I would highly recommend.
The bed was quite comfortable. I normally have a hard time sleeping on hotel beds but I slept quite well. Not too soft, not too hard. Goldilocks would have been quite happy here. I also like the fact that there is no carpet, only tile floors. So I felt it had a cleaner environment.
Very nice lady at check in. A lot of road construction adjacent to the property but did not bother us. The floor in or unit needed to be cleaned better. We had a very nice rest. The property is close to restaurants and the town
Toilet did not flush properly. Reported it to the front desk. They could j be o nothing as maintenance people had left for the day. They offered to give us another room but only had second floor available. We could not switch because my husband cannot do stairs. Eventually the toilet overflowed causing a mess. They did send more towels when I called. Keys only worked one time then quit. I was locked out and had to get replacement key. Then later my husband got locked out when he walked the dog and he had to get a new key. We were told that it was a common occurrence and they didn't know why. At check out I asked for the manager to call me. They never did.
This hotel is very nice. Rooms are clean. Close to resturants. Close to interstate. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We really loved the shower! Though we didn't get to use it, the pool looked very inviting. Plenty of pillows and the beds were very comfortable.
Very nice motel for the price. And great location with no traffic noises. Very clean and everything furnished.
Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory due to several issues that I encountered during my stay. Firstly, I was extremely disappointed with the behavior of the front desk staff who were rude and unhelpful. Secondly, the toilet in my room was not functioning properly, which made it incredibly inconvenient for me to use. Lastly, the cable TV was not working, and it was impossible to enjoy any programs. I believe that a hotel should provide its guests with a comfortable and hassle-free experience, especially during their stay. Unfortunately, this was not the case during my recent stay at your hotel. I would appreciate it if you could address these issues and take measures to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future. I hope that you will take my feedback seriously and take the necessary actions to improve the quality of your services.
My husband and I stayed at the Best Western Corbin Kentucky this April on our way home to Ontario from Florida. The young woman checking us in was so pleasant and helpful. I enjoyed talking to her. She is an asset to this Inn. The room was newly renovated and very comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The new shades suited the room instead of curtains. Our request for a ground floor room was met. The breakfast was good. Lots of fresh fruit and orange juice. We would definitely stay here again, especially if this young lady is still working.
Price was right, location was good and friendly staff. Room was pretty clean. They definitely need new linens and towels here. Towels were stained and sheets pilly. I had tiny itchy bumps/bites when I got up the next morning—Not sure from what, but concerning.
Excellent updated hotel. New rooms, nice garden landscape, excellent breakfast, close to I-75. We were really impressed with the excellent paint of the outdoor areas, cute sitting areas, newer doors, stand up showers.
Stopped at this quiet and cozy motel just off the I75 on our way to Florida this winter. Liked that we could drive straight up to our room for easy loading / unloading. Our king room was super-clean, and the bed was very comfortable ... perfect after a long drive from Canada. Judith at the front desk welcomed us right in with a cheery smile. The main lobby is small, but inviting. There are cute little areas of landscaping around the inn, including a sweet lighted outdoor sitting area near the stairs / ice machine. It's these little touches that let us know this motel is cared for. We were offered a full, hot breakfast in the morning. Loved the apple dispenser! The breakfast area was bright, clean and well-tended. It was an excellent start to our day. Everything about this inn is just so charming. It offers a refreshing break to your travels.
Stayed here for two nights to visit Cumberland Falls State Park, which was an easy drive away. We had a good room with a large shower. However, the room was not serviced one day even though we had expected it would be. The breakfast room wasn't large but it wasn't full at the times we were in.
I travel South often, and this is ALWAYS my go to hotel. Clean, freindly, comfortable! The staff is GREAT and you feel like they REALLY are glad to see you! Love it! Its very accessable to the interstate, & several restaurants nearby.
My wife and I are frequent travellers between florida and Ontario. We stay at many different places based on schedules and weather. Our most recent stay at the Best Western in Corbin Ky was the best in a very long time. Room was perfect. Clean and quiet. Staff were great. Especially morning staff. Breakfast was ready at 5:45. 15 minutes before schedule. Food was hot and tasty. GreT start to our day. Thank you.
The staff was delightful. Very professional. Breakfast area clean and kept filled. Room was very clean. Great location for pet owners. Lighted parking area. The shower was powerful. Helpful restaurant guide. Enjoyed Wrigley Tap Room, downtown.
I'm very pleased to stay here. I try to plan my trip, for this to be our stopover. It's worth it. Super clean, spacious rooms, flooring and not carpet a Hugh plus. Nice staff that want to be sure you're happy and have what you need. Breakfast selections hot and cold choices. Yummy coffee! I'm picky and a germ a phobe and this place is clean and goes above my expectations. I've stayed 3 times this year on my way to Florida and I've never been disappointed.
Good experience, with be stopping here again with out a doubt when traveling down to Florida and on our return trip to Michigan. Clean, comfortable with no issues, & nice little poop station for the pups. Good BBQ with in walking distance to the West.
One night stopover with my wife and our pet. No problems during this stay which included a very good hot breakfast in a pet friendly facility. Very reasonable price for a pet ($20) but felt the room rate was a little high ($145). Liked the hardwood floor vs carpeting. Good location and comfy beds. As always, my recommendation regarding tv is to place at a higher level to make viewing from bed more comfortable.
Very friendly staff, room clean and smells clean. Water pressure from shower was awesome for muscle aches and the outdoor pool was wonderful. Housekeeping was exceptional and will come in if requested and clean room. First time this has happened to us in 3 years.
The hotel room was exceptionally clean. The bed was very comfortable and super fluffy pillows. Their breakfast was excellent. Staff was very helpful . Even had a place for your dog to go with waste bags available and a trashcan. Highly recommend this hotel.
While traveling on the highway, we were looking for a place to sleep and thought we'd try this place for a change. Good decision. Yes, the design is a bit old school, but check-in was friendly and professional, the room was clean, quiet and sufficiently large enough for two of us, the beds and pillows were comfortable, the AC was efficient and within acceptable volume levels, the bathroom area gave us enough room to work (at least one at a time), the toilet was NOT low, but rather comfort-height, and the shower was extremely powerful. It was a very short drive near a couple restaurants for dinner, too. Breakfast wasn't special, but there was enough to get us up and going in the morning. We weren't expecting the Ritz, but we definitely got what we paid for.
Although the pictures look good, this basically a “recycled “ 70's style motel, with a few upgrades. Pros: fairly clean, grounds are nice, fairly quiet, nice staff with good procedures in place.pool looked nice. Cons: built for a smaller generation- bathroom is tiny, and hard to navigate, even for a slim person like me. Sheets on one bed had huge stains, WAY over-deodorized, as many “foreigner owned” motels are. Toilet was so low it was like sitting on the ground. Bedding on the beds did not match, one bed to another. At this price point, I'd look elsewhere. This is a “Motel 6” experience at a “Hilton” price.
My overnight stay included breakfast.. I can.not tell you much about the stay. It was for a sleepover. Which is all that was needed. I do want to say. The front desk staff was excellent. They make western a 5 star. Please thank them for me.
Stopped at this hotel on way home from Florida, was just looking for an inexpensive night but it was amazing. Don't let the outside fool you, rooms have recently been redone including laminate floors, comfortable beds and some of the fluffiest pillows I have ever had in a hotel. Great hot breakfast as well. Fantastic value.
Location was great for hiking close to Cumberland Park falls, Laurel Lake. Staff was very nice. Stayed in pet friendly room ground floor. Very clean, comfortable beds. Continental breakfast included biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs. Etc. it was really good. Would stay again if I was in the area.
Facility is clean and well maintained. Our handicapped accessible room was well laid out and made the stay very enjoyable. Breakfast area was clean and adequately stocked. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.
Didn't expect much for a budget hotel, but this one exceeded our expectations. Staff was great, room was very clean, bed was comfortable. Way better than we were expecting. Would definitely stay here again.
We had several rooms for an event, all clean, remodeled. Breakfast was great, variety. Only one drawback is that it is a motel. All doors open to outside, which in February, kind of blows. Close to interstate, the office staff were kind, friendly and helpful. Great stay!
I travel frequently for business, and I've stayed in many different hotels. I've had some great experiences and some awful ones, But best western has consistently remained my favorite hotel to stay with during my business travels. It's comforting to know after a long business trip or some sightseeing that you can come back to clean, cozy rooms with attentive and respectful staff.
You will find nothing special here. The rooms are very dated although clean. Entire place needs a face lift. I think the rooms were overpriced considering how old and outdated they are. Breakfast area is very small and food bottom of the line. Front desk was efficient and polite.
Reasonable comfort and value. Limited breakfast selections (still pre-packaged like during covid). TV and internet were fine. Beds comfortable - pillows not. Mini fridge had very large freezer compartment so we were able to re-freeze our ice packs overnight for the 2nd day of our journey - thrilled about that! Did not use bathtub and it was grimy/dirty on the bottom and white grit around the drain. Very disappointed about that, as after a long day of travel, it would have been nice to soak in the tub. When we arrived late afternoon, you could see daylight all around the outer door. This means that new weather-stripping needs to be installed around the edges. We found one cockroach on the wall near the tv and found another climbing under the door. New weather-stripping could deter pest entry and add noise buffer from the noisy I-75 traffic all night long. Front desk clerk recommended Brooklyn Brothers Pizzeria -- meal and service was great! Upon check-out, we were not asked about how our stay went ...
ZERO STARS!!! Do not give BEST WESTERN CORBIN INN YOUR BUSINESS! Booked a room that wasn't available and they refused to refund my money despite providing No services! Thieves!!! Best Western Corporate needs to know how their owners are representing their brand!
We booked at the best western corbin Inn for a long weekend to visit family. Everything about the stay was nice. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. They're were lots of restaurants close to the hotel and the staff was extremely nice.
The front desk clerk was friendly and polite, the room was clean and newly remodeled. Breakfast was hot, had lots of choices and the food was good. Hotel was close to restaurants. Shower was wonderful. Two shower heads and plenty of hot water.
Great motel with reasonable rates, found rooms were very clean. Just the right accommodations for a nights sleep nothing fancy . Staff was friendly and helpful. Would reccomend this motel for anyone who is traveling through the area.
Very clean and well maintained hotel from first impression of the exterior, grounds, landscaping, walks to the nicely renovated rooms that were also very clean and comfortable. Employees were kind and helpful and breakfast has plenty of hot and cold choices which was really nice.
this was a great place for an overnite stay we were traveling through the area and the staff was friendly and rooms were clean. we would definitely stay here if we were in the area. the pool seemed clean we did not have time to use it.
Victor, Angie, Tammy, and the whole team were so helpful and accommodating. They made our team feel welcome and were so flexible to meet our needs. We would definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in the Corbin area.
From the moment we checked in it was a great experience. Person at the front desk was friendly and very helpful with restaurants and attractions. The bed was so comfortable, slept like a baby. Room was clean. Breakfast was great with hot and cold choices. If you need a place to stay near Corbin it is a great deal.
This is a great place to stay. The room was very clean, staff was very friendly. My granddaughter loved the pool which also was well maintained. I will defiantly stay here again when travel and will tell my friends and family it's a great place to stay.
This place was very clean. The basic facilities were all in working order and very good. The bed was quite comfortable. We are in our 80s. We were put on the second floor. There is no elevator. Internet worked well, when it worked, but went down for several hours. The TV would not work when we arrive. Maintenance man had to reprogram it. The breakfast was primarily processed eggs and sausage - acceptable, but not as good as freshly prepared.
We stay here every time we travel down to see family. And have never had any problems with anything. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a clean room and good service. I look forward to staying here again.
The beds creek, when ever you turn over. And a frame fell off a mirror in the middle of the night and woke us up a 2 am.. So glad my husband could see a dark shadow on the bathroom floor or he would have ended up in the tub. A lot of traffic noise from the freeway.
Staff was excellent, breakfast was excellent, rate was good. The staff opened the eating are for us to eat our lunch in the area. Property is up on a hill and there are several dining options as well as fast food choices nearby. The rooms are large and clean. Would stay here again.
The hotel and our room were very clean. The hotel room smelled very nice when we entered. The air conditioning worked great and was not loud. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good, the coffee was great. The hotel exterior was nicely landscaped and looked freshly painted. The BBQ restaurant next door was great also.
I only had a two night stay at the best Western in Corbin. Inspected the sheets after arriving and they were dirty and full of hair. Called front desk and they brought new sheets. After putting on the fitted sheet there was a huge stain with a lot of hair in that also. Called front desk again and they finally brought a set of clean sheets. The bathroom was clean but the rest of the room was not. Before going out for the afternoon we put the do not disturb tag on the door and when we returned housekeeping had been in our room and had straightened up and made our bed. We will not be returning.
Perfect stop. Pet friendly with a $15/night fee. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and large. Tile floors. There was a nice breakfast. Outdoor entry rooms with microwave and fridge. Small issue with room charge that was easily adjusted. Would definitely stay again.
It took me a while to decide on a hotel in this area that was pet friendly. I'm so glad we chose this hotel. The rooms have been updated. Still have a few things to fix but they did not affect the quality of our stay. The bed was very comfortable. Linen was clean. Shower pressure was unbelievably great! Better than home. We had a lower room in the back. It was surprisingly quiet. We will definitely stay here on our return trip. Staff was very friendly and efficient too. Hot breakfast was done well. Breakfast area was also very clean. The staff should be commended for their outstanding work.
Picked this hotel because they are pet friendly and couldn't have been more pleased. The rooms were spacious and clean. We liked that the rooms opened to outside rather than a hallway. More convenient with dogs and no hallway noise to disturb them
Had to stop on trip back home, drive to long for one day. Checked map to chose area where half way was best place to stop. This is about the 7th stay at different Best Western I have stayed at this year. This was one of the best hotels in this group.
Made reservations to stay here. The beds were comfortable and the room felt clean. However, while checking in two gentleman were selling/buying guns in the lobby. I had my son with me. There was hardly any food for breakfast. We spent most of the night with no Tv service or wi-Fi die to accidentally on the highway just off the exit. Not hotels fault but made for a long night without tv in a hotel room.
Room was dirty and clientele was pretty sketchy. Dust all over the furniture, sink wasn't wiped down and stains on the bedding. A LOT of very drunk people (probably out of state workers) milling around and throwing up on the sidewalk.
Had to take a bit of an unplanned trip and didn't have time to book a hotel room in advance but was lucky enough to find a decent chain hotel with a room available for cheap. However, mend the cheap price should've been a warning. The room looked like a brothel. High-backed red velvety chairs with black stains all over them, yellow “mood” lights, stink bugs and spiders all over, smoke stained walls.. it was shocking. Dirty. The bathroom was too small for one adult and the door almost hit the toilet seat as it closed. The shower had cobwebs, hair, and a barely functional shower head. I'd rather pay more for a Holiday Inn or Hilton than stay at a Best Western again.
We were vacationing and stopped for an over night . The sheets were dirty ( we had to use a towel to cover the dirty area)and the breakfast was horrible. We had to stop out on the road to have breakfast .
Very nice old fashioned style motel. The room was renovated and very comfortable and clean. The breakfast could be improved, there was a toaster, butter and jelly but no toast, but there was cereal, and some hot items so it wasn't bad. The staff was very nice and friendly. We will stay here again.
Arrived late in the afternoon, having covered nearly 600 miles since 9 AM. Comfortable room. Hardwood floors better than some rugs I've seen in the past. Everything worked well although I did have to guess at how much batter to use for the waffle machine. Would help to have posted instructions, such as "use full cup for waffle". Otherwise good breakfast and nice selection.
We were in room 116 - midback of motel. Traveling with dogs, so love the ground floor, exterior access. Rooms: Acceptably clean, like the lack of carpeting, bigger than average room fridge, beds were a bit soft for my taste. Amazing shower water pressure!!! Conversely, toilet was sluggish to flush. Grounds: There is some grass on the front and side to walk the dogs; unfortunately, people to do pick up after their pets. ]Smoking is not allowed in rooms, but there were a lot of smokers who stood outside their doors so that was annoying opening and closing our door to the smell. By morning butts were all over the ground (no ashtrays to do stop people). We did not use the pool but, it looked nice. Breakfast: Limited, but some hot items (very salty scrambled eggs) and decent coffee and other hot beverages. Super easy access of Rt 75 and there are a couple of places to each in the area.
Not impressed with this hotel. Room was sloppy and comforter and bath towels had holes in them. The picture of the rooms on line did not really match the actual room. Would not recommend this particular Best Western.
Older hotel only partially renovated. Outside brick veneer loose and falling. Large stains on chair/ settee and drapes. Extremely small bathroom with little space to get dressed and floor constantly drenched because of lack of real shower curtain ( thin liner only). Hot breakfast had few item and quality/ taste was much inferior to offerings found at similar hotels of this type. Positive attributes of the hotel were friendly staff and showers with abundant hot water and high water pressure.
Coming home from vacation we stayed here b/c everywhere else was full. The staff was very nice but when we woke up the next morning we found bed bugs in both beds. We informed the front desk they apologized but we were still charged $140. I wasn't looking for a free night but something off would have been nice.
The best was so comfy and the room was very clean and smelled good. My family will return there again. It was quiet at night so our autistic daughter had no trouble getting to sleep. Everyone was very respectful.
Shannon at front desk was very professional and quick at her job.I drive a tractor trailer and was and to”d were I could park.Room was clean.Plenty of pillows and towels.WiFi worked great.I go thru this area often and will return.Mrs.Patel was nice and pleasant when checking out. These two ladies felt like they appreciated me deciding to stay at your location.
Stayed in Corbin to ride the Red Bud Ride in London and do Hiking at Cumberland falls For the value this place was perfect for us. It is not a fancy high end hotel. It was great for us to use as our base camp for bike riding the Red Bud Bicycle Ride and hiking in the Cumberland Falls area. Room was very clean and comfortable will definitely go back
We got in late and there were problems with the room they put us in. They gave us a double queen room when we booked a king. Due to the mixup we were put in a handicapped room. The 3 things we asked for upon booking were a king non smoking room with a bathtub. Because of the mixup we didnt get a room with a tub. The bed and sheets were clean and comfortable, however there were candy wrappers on the floor between the nightstand and bed. The bathroom was clean but there was only 1 kleenex in the box, which means it had been touched by the rooms previous guest during the covid pandemic. The floor looked like hardwood which was appealing, but our socks told a different story, they were black by the end of the evening! We were in and out during the early part of Saturday and we told housekeeping we were leaving so they could freshen up the room, towels, toiletries and coffee. They never came. The next morning i went to the front desk and asked for towels and shampoo/conditioner, and was told that housekeeping comes in at 9 and he'd send them straight to our room. They never came! The bed was comfortable and appeared clean. We really liked that our room door was exterior and we could take our dogs out with minimal effort. There was a spot that had a trashcan and waste bags which was nice, but there was very minimal grassy space for the dogs to utilize. The parking lot was kept in perfect condition! We saw someone cleaning discarded trash and cigarette butts up both mornings we were there! (Maybe they should ask the groundskeeper to take over for housekeeping!!!) The attendant at breakfast was fast, efficient and polite!! She was a definite highlight of our trip! Shannon was wonderful at the front desk when i called the hotel to speak to someone!
We stopped because of being pet friendly. When calling to make our reservation the young woman was very accommodating with prices, type of room and directions. When we checked in she was very personal and nice! Entering the room was a great surprise. The room was so clean, warm and inviting that I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Usually pet friendly rooms are just ok.I also want to add the shower was wonderful. The right hot water pressure and super white soft towels. Better than home. It was what w needed after a long day of driving on I-75.
Called to check on the seating in the room and ended up being treated like a VIP. Shannon at the front desk went to check on the room seating and even gave us a managers special rate because of how late we were arriving. She left notice with the night staff, who were so friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, beds and pillows super comfy. Refrigerator had a separate freezer and it was nice being so close to our car. Felt safe walking our dog at 1am and there was a designated dog walk with bags and a trash. Hot breakfast served by staff in the morning. Wonderful stay!
Everything was great. Employees was very friendly and talkative, there was a lot of breakfast options. Including hot items. The room was very clean, the bed was amazing. Slept great on it, had plenty of pillows which I loved!
Beds was awesome, the shower had great water pressure, the room very clean! Had a lot of breakfast choices, enjoyed a lot. Staff was excellent and very accommodating. Will definitely stay again, and recommend to my friends and family.
Nothing special. A room with a fairly comfortable bed and mostly clean except the floor. It is a tile floor. The baby spilled the dog's water. We wiped it up with a towel. The towel was black afterwards! I don't think this floor had been mopped in a long time.
We took a last minute trip with our grandson, we had no reservations so we chose Best Western because of reviews and we're glad we did! Our room clean, comfortable and no complaints about price! Mainly our grandson was happy here so what more can we say except we would definitely stay here again!
Traveling to Corbin with a group of co-workers on Government business trip, the management and staff at the Best Western Corbin were very accommodating during a difficult time. The rooms were updated, comfortable and clean. I was very satisfied with the property and would stay there again - these folks care about their business! Only recommendation would be updated outlets for USB ports.
Clean, quiet and close to the beautiful Cumberland Falls. Management very helpful when requested a different room because of cigarette smoke smell. Motel-style so you park outside of your room. We appreciated the non-carpeted floor, good shower, TV, comfortable beds, refrigerator and microwave. The immediate area looks a little depressed but Main Street in Corbin has some good dining options. We had a nice meal and good WV craft beer and cider at the Wrigley Taproom and Eatery. Thank you!
Hotel staff is friendly. Rooms large and beds comfy. The outside pool is nice and large. Only problem was Reservations.com. Horrible!! Thought I was using Best Western reservations. but it is a booking site. I booked 2 rooms and they only paid for 1. It took one hour in the lobby to get this taken care of. Poor girl was so patient with them on the phone. She had to get payment before she could give us the key. My card had been charged but Reservations Desk. com hadn't paid for our second room. After complaining when we got home, they only offerered 10 percent refund!!! I am 71 and had to wait in the lobby all this time and our family was in their room waiting for us. Really just 10 per cent. 13 lousy dollars is customer service??
Nice hotel. Needs more upgrades in rooms for price. Pool was nice but not enough towels for all the hotel guest that were using pool, lobby was upgraded and kitchen area was updated. Friendly and helpful staff.
Well maintained and carefully run, this motel was a comfortable night's rest. The handicap supportive room I stayed in had the best shower I have found to date. Pets are ok and the internet speed is acceptable.
This has all the usuals for a Best Western plus a lot of southern charm. I grew up coming to Corbin to visit family, so this is my first overnight in a hotel/motel. Even with CoVid, I felt safe and looked after.
The bed was comfortable and that is the best I can say about it. The lobby looked cute but it ended there. The room was small, furniture old, no desk to sit at. Although it looked clean, it didn't feel that way. For $90, I expected a lot more. They couldn't find any real coffee for the room. It was maybe a step above Red Roof Inn. Would not recommend this place to stay in.
We were greeted with a warm friendly smile and that is always a good start. This facility is spotless inside and out. Very conveniently located to restaurants and Cumberland Falls is just down the road. The grab and go breakfast was what you would expect during these trying times and certainly appreciated. Fresh fruit was a plus. The beds are very comfortable, quality towels and we highly recommend this motel if you are in the area.
This place exceeded my expectations entirely. Very friendly and helpful and went the extra mile to make sure i had an amazing experience. Will definitely return and recommend to others. One in a million
This motel has probably been in this spot based on the fact that it is two story with old-fashioned outdoor corridors. Regardless, it was well lit, in good shape and our room was clean and modern. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and we loved the tile floors throughout and double headed shower! Best of all was the dependable Best Western service. When I called the front desk for help with connecting to WiFi, she gave me tips on what to do and told me if I still couldn't access it, to call back and she'd come to our room to help. I've never had anyone at any motel/hotel offer that kind of service. The hotel is right off of the interstate and there are lots of restaurants nearby. We'll be back!
Front desk staff were Great! Room was quiet and perfect for Travelers with a dog. Conveniently located and close to food restaurants and gas stations. Nice to have refrigerator microwave in room. Will book with Best Western again!
Comfortable, quiet room. Very clean. Convenient stop on I75. Within walking distance to Waffle House. Reasonable price, pet friendly. Definitely recommend. Staff very helpful. Email receipt option saves checkout time, no need to stop at the front desk. Good parking for cars with trailers.
We stayed here for an overnight stop while returning home. It was a pleasant surprise! Our room was spotless, well-equipped (even a small freezer!), and quiet. Very close to I75, restaurants, and gas stations. Hot or cold breakfast choices, coffee, tea, etc.. Definitely a keeper!
Very beautiful area and hotel. Staff was nice and I loved the kurig coffee machine in the room. Easy access to freeway and resturants and a great view of the mountain.Shower had pressure and breakfest was average but hot.
They offer discount price if you sign up for there reward program but then once you book the room the price doesn't go to the discounted price. Seems like a scam or false advertising to me personally but whom am i to decide that!!
This was an over night stop driving home from Disney. I would have given it 5 stars but as We checked behind our beds for “cleanliness “ as we always do, we found it to be a spot that housekeeping must be missing. It appears that large amounts of pepper was spilt behind the night stand and many potato bugs and dust balls at the head of the head of the beds( which was easily moved). I let front desk know and she assured me that housekeeping and management would be informed in the am as that was unacceptable. Our towel bar also was not properly installed and fell when a hand towel was put on it. I didn't report that. Now the good; overall the rest of the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable, we all slept very well. We would stay again if ever passing through again.
Good clean room, breakfast was fresh and hot, they had a yogurt machine. Internet service was fast. Our stay was in January thus we did not get to experience the pool or outside area. We would recommend this hotel.
Very comfortable bed, clean, updated, quiet. What more could you ask for? Oh, a hot breakfast! Worth the stop and easy back to the interstate. The front desk staff were helpful and pleasant to talk with.
Great place to stay. Very clean. Price was good. Employees were so polite and courteous. The facilities were very clean. Beds were very comfortable and the linens appeared to be new. We were there with cold temperatures so we didn't get to use the pool. So we don't know how that was.
An upgrade from the 'normal' fare along the freeway. Excellent rooms and highly professional staff. We were surprised that their TV system didn't include local channels (ABC, NBC & CBS). Hopefully whatever has caused them to drop these channels will be reversed.
I have been travelling for work for many years and have stayed at quite a few motels, hotels and "bad and breakfast" facilities. I discovered Best Westerns in Michigan and, since then, always look for BW. Clean, comfortable rooms, excellent breakfasts and friendly, knowledgeable staff...no reason to look further.
Nice and friendly staff. Food was typical of a continental breakfast. Beds were very comfortable. We stayed in a pet room. I liked the fact they didn't have carpet. Everything was clean except the floor. Someone could have cleaned it a bit better! Also Found other dog food on the floor. I would stay here again.
The sheets had not been changed, we had to remake our own bed. Needs complete updates in the room. Not a good night. The location is good off I-75. My daughter couldn't wait to be out of there so we left without breakfast. Needless to say we are very disappointed.
Hotel has been refurbished since my last stay. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was pretty typical of "free" breakfasts, but food was fresh and well maintained. We were late risers and often items are pretty picked over, but this was well stocked and staff both at check in and breakfast were very helpful.
This is the 2nd time we stayed here. It's very clean and staff is friendly. Josh was great when we checked in at 1am the first time. Rikki was a sweetheart and provided me with gluten free options for breakfast! Plus they are pet friendly which was perfect for us. Also liked their toiletry products! It's the little things that help make the stay! Thank you and we will be back next time we pass through!
This is the best place I have ever stayed. Cleanest I have seen. Room was awesome. Staff was awesome. Hotel well lit. Felt very safe. If you go to Corbin area, don't waste time shopping around, this is by far the best place to stay.
We stopped at this hotel as we were traveling. Everything was quick, convenient and comfortable. One of my best best western stays this year. Although this is it your top of the line hotel, stays with best western are always comfortable and clean. Satisfying all my families needs.
I couldn't ask for more other than a bit more expensive for my dog than most. But , a nice dog dump station provided .Clean modern room.Quiet location, friendly helpful staff.forgot my cell phone and was sure it was gone forever. However the staff retrieved it and mailed it pronto. What more could I say.
was an older motel that had been updated. Had everything i needed for just passing through, dont know if i would stay there for an extended stay ( if you were stuck there the best tv was in the breakfast room). Was a little pricer than the 2 other BWs i stayed at that week with less to offer. But it was a nice clean updated comfie room, 2 places close to have dinner, no road noise, i could park my motorcycle right outside my room. So except for the tv it had everything i needed for a one night stay.
Its close to the freeway. Must try Bubbies buffett on same property. Great southern food. The staff is helpful and friendly. the room clean, quiet. bed pretty comfortable. We always stay here when traveling through area.
Room was awesome, clean very comfortable. Kathy in deli was very helpful and efficient, providing a wonderful breakfast. Lobby was very nice and clean. It was easy access from highway 75. Parking lot was well lite for safety.
I liked the open hallways design. my room was dated but it was a smoking room so I can see why it's not the best room they have to offer.but it was clean.the breakfast was plentiful seating for breakfast is a little cramped and u might not find a seat I didn't mind sitting outside eating breakfast(there's only one bench outside the entry doors). All employees I encountered were as friendly as can be.only complaint I really have is the pool was to cold definitely was not heated to the my liking but overall I'd stay again
If you stay at this location of Best Western it's very nice. Clean, friendly and employees are very nice and polite. One in particular, Rikki. She's the sweetest and will absolutely do anything for you. Gonna miss chatting with you Rikki. Hope things go well for you in the future.
Cute motel, nicely decorated lobby. Rooms were clean although the carpet upstairs did not feel very clean, ask for a first floor room and those have been updated I was told. Free Breakfast was awesome, lots of choices and even with 15 min left they brought more eggs out, most hotels won't do that. The staff was also very nice and went out of their way to make sure you were happy! Would definitely recommend!
We had a pet friendly room, and my parents did not. Both rooms were updated. However, our room had a disgusting smell of urine and mildew, it was hard to breathe. I could not wait to leave this hotel.
Friendly staff at check in. Older hotel off 75. Good for a one night stay while traveling. Room was clean but older and had a musty smell. A/C worked fine. Toilet was so loud! Bathroom was tiny. Free breakfast was just okay. Pool looked clean. There is a good Pizzeria/Italian restaurant 2 minutes down the road called Brooklyn Brothers Italian Restaurant. They have great food. Would consider staying again if we were passing through.
We are frequent travelers and our experience has proven that Best Western Plus provides the best accommodation and value. We'll drive extra miles to find a Best Western every time. Will not settle for less than the best
Friendly staff. Completely quiet and clean room. Hot breakfast and coffee are good. Reviews are correct about the delicious Mexican food at El Dorado Restaurant right across the street. Cumberland Falls is 13 miles away and is beautiful when heavy rainfall has not made the water muddy brown like it was this visit.
This hotel is easy to access from the interstate, and is close to the Tennessee border. I arrived early and wasn't sure if I could check in but the receptionist did all she could to accommodate me. The lobby is clean, the room I stayed in was clean, spacious and comfortable. I also liked that there was no carpet, a much healthier approach. The door didn't lock properly, as you lock it, there were visible gaps between the door frame and door big enough for hungry mosquitoes to squeeze in. This should be fixed. Otherwise everything was great. The breakfast was great with a selection of hot and cold items, hygienically served. The checkout was fast, I even got a goodie bag to take that had various snack and water. Highly recommend this Inn.
We have stayed at many hotels/motels, this Best Western was very impressive and the gathering of our group/family from different states, meet in Corbin, Ky every yr, for the Bingo. We will now always stay at this Best Western with no worries !!!! Believe me.....if it weren't an appropriate stay I WOULD TELL lol LOL !!!!
Pillows were half the size of an average pillow case. They refused to empty dog waste receptacle. The pool was ice cold when we were told it was a heated pool. It is an old holes with makeup on. NOT GOOD!
We picked up Best western for our recent trip to Daniel Boone National Forest and Cumberland falls due to its proximity and reputation. Corbin is a rather smallish city near hilly terrain with good road connectivity. Location: close to I 75. Lots of restaurants and stores around. Facility: 2 storied building with stairs. Yes stairs!! No elevator. Otherwise clean surroundings with a small pool. Completely open building with individual room a/c s. Rooms: nice size room with small toilet cum bath. TV with cable, iron with stand, microwave etc std appliances. Old noisy analog AC. Breakfast: std American breakfast with waffle, bread, muffins, juice etc Check in and check out was smooth. We wondered how people manage to stay here during winters as it is completely open air building.
Arrived as it began to rain but had no problem as there was adequate cover. Josh handled our check in in a rapid fashion. we received the gift materials and went to our clean and well appointed room. Stay was excellent.
This is a beautiful building! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, including being able to sit outside on their beautifully landscaped property. Thisi was a "waypoint" on our trip, we are glad we chose to stay here!
I try to stay at best Western any time possible, but this one was the best I've stayed at. The staff is extremely pleasant, helpful. The room was clean and well stocked with coffee and soaps. Nice location.
Quiet location after being on the road all day. Pet friendly and reasonable price. Very clean and great breakfast. Very well done, lots of choices for your breakfast time. We stay there twice a year when we are coming and going to Florida for the winter.
On entering a first floor room we could see the bedding was creased and wasn't tucked in fully, which was suspicious. On pulling back the sheets there was a coffee stain on the linen and then we noticed the carpet was full of food i.e. hadn't been vacuumed, so it was clear that the room hadn't been cleaned at all. We complained to front desk who moved us to a downstairs room, but I was beyond horrified that if not for the fact that it was clearly obvious the room hadn't been cleaned, i might have slept in a stranger's soiled sheets. This is the first time something like this has happened to us, and I'm not sure the manager realizes what a health issue this is. He emailed us a lame, form email offering 30% discount on our next stay, stating "we sorry we didn't exceed your expectations". News flash - we paid over $100 for the night and you didn't even meet the lowest of expectations, namely clean bed linen. There is no excuse for staff not checking to ensure rooms are clean. Ground floor outside doors had quite big gaps around them so lots of noise and chill entering. Hotel probably needs upgrading. Staff were friendly, but would be nice if they checked rooms.
Stayed here because they are "pet friendly". Our room was great. The shower was great. The people working the front desk were great too. We slept so well that we slept in, missed breakfast, so we went to the Waffle House across the road for breakfast. There is also a good Mexican restaurant across the road that we had dinner at.
The weather was getting bad and we decided to stop earlier than planned. The front desk staff was great. Room was upstairs and outdoor entry. Not my favorite, but “felt” safe. Room was clean. Shower was great. Breakfast was very good. Two meats, eggs, gravy, bread was fresh, and yogurt bar was really good! I would not hesitate to stay again if in area.
Great place, clean, friendly staff, many breakfast options! Stopped later than usual had room available to meet our needs. Pet friendly also. Parking lot well lit and clean. Close to fast food restaurants.
Very pleasant interaction with staff -- Lynn, Tammy, Wesley and Kathy -- who were professional, courteous, and friendly. Easy access off expressway, plenty of local services available nearby. Rooms recently renovated. Liked the hard floors. Nice view. Quiet. Owners Vic Patel and his wife were very pleasant and genuinely accommodating.
Nice and quiet! Tammy set us up with a nice quiet room away from the stairway. Great Best Western with friendly service and a hot breakfast in the morning. Very clean, only complaint is that they should replace the toilet tissue holders which are rusty
I'm not a hotel person at all, but this hotel was just perfect for us. THEY TOOK UP THE CARPET ! The carpet was replace with a wooden beautiful floor ! SO MUCH CLEANER . Great for us and our little Scottie dog. We will always stay at this hotel every time we drive home from Florida . Hope all hotels do this. Carpet is so nasty in hotels we all know this. BEST IDEAL EVER ! GOOD JOB BEST WESTERN
Rooms are decent for a motel, but the owner is incompetent and should not be working with the public. Guard your valuables and personal property if you stay here. There are many better choices in the area.
I highly recommend this hotel. Customer service is Outstanding they go above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of for you and your family! Very nice, clean and pet friendly! Extremely satisfied customers!
The young man on 3rd shift had breakfast ready for us before the 6a time line as we had to be at work by 6a, he asked if anything else he could do to help us. Everyone of the staff members were helpful and we appreciated it very much!!
Great place to stop with a pet. Very reasonable rates and very fair pet charge. Rooms are comfortable, could use some of an update. Towels are the best, very soft. Breakfast was awful. A couple of nice restaurants close by. We really like the Mexican restaurant right across the street from the hotel.
We had a room that was recently renovated. Loved the fact that there was no carpet. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable as well. Internet service worked great. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Check-in and Check-out was quick and easy. Downside: Close to interstate, so you can hear some traffic noise. Also, there were 2 hairs on shower wall that didn't belong to me nor my husband. Some black spots around rail in shower, but couldn't tell if it was mold or from installation.
The hotel was ok, it was clean & the folks were nice. But the rooms have seen better days & the amenities in the room were fair at best. Not even close to the Best Western hotels we are used to. Good enough for a quick stay over, but I wouldn't recommend this location for a longer stay. Breakfast area was updated & clean, but eggs were inedible.
Our room was clean and pleasant. The fan in the bathroom was operated by a switch separate from the light, always a good feature. Towels were thick enough. Decor was nice. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.
Was traveling to Florida and stopped for the night with my rather large dog. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Room was very clean, you can park right outside it and very pet friendly. I was worried about the noise based on previous reviews but had no issues. And my dog is protective and barks. Lots of choices for breakfast, hot and cold. I asked about a place to dine in town that wasn't a chain and staff was helpful with recommendations. I found the town charming and the folks friendly. Will definitely stop again on my way back home.
Really enjoyed our stay:) Tammy was AWESOME checking us In and meeting our needs:) Nice touch giving us a small welcome bag, not seen that before:) All the rooms are on the outside of the hotel. The exterior looks good and they are still going under their remodel. Our room was large and clean, came off very detailed looking:) Plenty of hot water with strong pressure to go with it!:) Checkout was as easy as checking In:) Met at least three employees, all very friendly:) Nice job in breakfast area, well taken care of with plenty of breakfast choices:) Our room was just three doors down from office, quiet for a Saturday night:) This was one of our better stays at a Best Western:) GREAT jobbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb!
All access from outside like an updated motel. It is dog friendly but not very quiet so my dog heard a lot of noises. The breakfast was good with hot and cold dishes. The rooms were clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The rooms were neat, clean, updated and comfortable. Standard breakfast fare for this type of hotel. Sausage, eggs, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, etc. Friendly service. Reasonable price (had AAA, no idea price without) Would definitely stay again.
Easy and quick check-in. It was within walking distance of a couple of restaurants. It is near area attractions, too. The room was clean and comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was good. The front desk called to make sure the room was satisfactory and that we were comfortably settled in or needed anything.
Exceeded our expectations! The friendly staff made you feel comfortable. The room was clean, had a clean/comfortable bed, awesome shower pressure and a really good breakfast with lots of choices! Would stay here again.
As I was traveling to Florida down I75, this was a great place to stop. The staff were very friendly and very engaged to ensure my stay was great. The room was clean, was recently redecorated with laminate floors, and a comfortable bed. Additionally this hotel accepted dogs and she felt welcomed as well. The hotel is just off the highway with plenty of eating locations within walking distance. My only advice would be to get a room on the second floor which would probably cut down any noise from other guests.
One of the nicer Best Westerns we have stayed in. All laminate flooring which is nice when you travel with a dog. Our room, lobby, and breakfast area were very clean! All staff were extremely friendly and go out of there way to accommodate you! Would definitely recommend!
I Love staying at BestWestern Corbin Inn. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The rooms have been updated. Just Beautiful and very clean. The lobby also. I like the way it's decorated. I've been staying there once a year for almost 15years. I would higly recommend it to anyone.
this Hotel had refurbished and renewed all the rooms to the highest standard's one can expect !!!!!!!!! the early morning breakfast also doesn't leave any thing to be desired . the ownership has a perfect staff to follow all subjects and that show's !!!!!!!! we are Ingrid & Dieter Grzella and would NOT stay anywhere else !!!!!!
I stayed at this wonderful location back in 2016. My stay then was such a great experience. The remodeled rooms and renovations they have done since the are incredible. Check in was fast, the gentleman (3rd shift Auditor) true asset to this establishment. Opened my door to a clean fresh room with gifts that awaited my arrival that included a personal note from Victor and his wife, the owners. (Thank you) Shower pressure was on point as well as lighting in the room. Breakfast was above average, breakfast attendant, wonderful service. The decor of the rooms, lobby, breakfast area exquisite. I can not wait to return and show my family the new renovations and hard work these employees have and so put into this hotel. Thank you all for such a wonderful stay.
This Best Western is amazing. Mr. Patel has gone above and beyond in making this a truly first class experience. Outstanding all the way around from service, room cleanliness, grounds, ammenitites in the room. The breakfast set up was very good with a very nice selection! This is truly a reasonable, outstanding place to rest and recharge...Well done Corbin Best Western and Mr. Patel...we will make sure to make this a destination rest stop any time we are anywhere near the area.
Only thing I can advise people was very nice.Hotel needs a lot of help. Room had dead bugs in bathroom. Carpeting was torn, a/c & heater was noisy. Reserved room month ahead for first floor but when I arrived was told they did not have any first floor king bed rooms. Instead they gave me second floor room next to stairs were everyone walking up and down
I do wonder if my room is different from some of the others. Based on the reviews it doesn't seem to compare. The room is not updated. They have red velvet chairs, pop corn ceilings and poorly repaired damaged walls. Old pillows that have lost their fluff. No desk, closet or safe. Non of that is the reason I gave them a 2 *. There is mold on the walls in with the shower. The bed sheet had stains. The sheet was also torn. The comforter had multiple holes in it. The vending machine on the second floor didn't work. The room was 80 degrees and took a couple houris to cool off once the ac was turned on. Also the tv sits on the dresser which is significantly lower than the bed. For me the final thing was house keeping knocking on our door to wake us up before nine am. We put the do not disturb thing in the door. Hoping to be able to sleep in on our last day of our trip. Check out is not until 11am. Yet they still knocked hard before 9. I have trouble sleeping and once I'm awaken I am awake. I was disappointed by this. In reflection of price the hotel is slightly lower than surrounding hotels. We had a room with a king bed. I compared after to other hotels and it was maybe a $30 difference. With exception of the above mentioned the room was clean and well kept. Breakfast is also included in our stay however we didn't get up in time to try it.
Ashley at the front desk was very friendly and helpful! My room was newly renovated and clean, very comfortable. Would stay again and recommend to others! Refrigerator and microwave in room, chase lounger, great water pressure in shower.
Fantastic, clean, friendly. Owners, and employees are sincerely interested in your stay being a pleasure. Have been staying here for years, will continue to do so when in the area. Breakfast presentation is beautiful, along with good tasting coffee.
Recently stayed here for regional meeting. Checked in late at night and Wesley was very helpful checking me in. Breakfast was great. Full hot breakfast. They even have a yogurt machine!!. I was mostly impressed with cleanliness of the room. It was spotless! I'll let the pictures do all the talking but trust me you won't be disappointed with this hotel.
I came to Corbin with my General manger for a business convention for Best Western corporate. We stayed for one night and upon arrival Ashley warmly welcomed us and quickly checked us in. Later that morning she assisted when I forgot my razor and shaving cream (Grown man status). So she was very helpful and the Owner Victor has renovated the hotel and looks insanely updated and rooms look amazing!! Thanks guys I highly recommend and will brag to everyone in the area..
Very surprised that the room had wood/vinyl and tile floors. liked that change very much. King bed was very comfortable and TV/cable was great. Also had a nice refrigerator, much larger than any other hotel we have stayed. Had a separate large freezer that a 10 pound bag of ice fit in. Shower was the best water pressure we have ever had. We had been staying up the street and will return to Best Western Corbin for all future boat trips.
The breakfast and the decor of the dining area was absolutly beautiful. It was so bright and cheery. The food was delicious, and the selection was very generous. I really enjoyed the freshly made yougurt, too.!
This was a great stop on our way down south. This property is very clean, comfortable and well located right off I75. This BW has also been recently been remodeled with many beautiful upgrades including laminent flooring, excellent shower fixtures, furniture and linens. The staff is friendly and accommodating - super hospitable. There is also a great outside pool, outdoor conversation areas, breakfast and a couple of dynamite local restaurants within walking distance. Pet friendly, too! Highly recommended for you stay in the Corbin/London/Williamsburg KY area!
Easy access to a hotel close to the highway. However, if you had a dog to walk you were out of luck as everything was built on steep slopes! Recently renovated and the upgrades were needed and well done. In order to post this short comment, I must reach at least 200 characters. Hope this does it!
Pet friendly hotel presenting it's own set of problems for all. Pet hair on sheets and floor,, barking dogs during the night on both sides, we did not have a pet. No bath mat and toilet too low. The location is convenient from the highway, pool is well maintained and has stocked towels, excellent breakfast variety, restaurants within walking distance and large well lit parking lot.
We stayed in the Pool about 5 hours a day. There is a lot to do close. We went to the Fort Boonesborough out to the fall, to the first KFC and the kids did like all three of these stops. the breakfast bar is OK I have see a larger section but all that they had was good.
We were returning from South Carolina to Ohio and due to several traffic issues and other stops, we realized we would need a hotel for the evening. As we left eastern Tennessee, I began to check various websites for hotel in this area or closer. Many were full. After checking the Trip Advisor reviews, I contacted this hotel and was able to book two rooms for our family (with 2 beds in each one). I had to put my credit card down for the deposit since it was after 6:00 p.m.,(understandable) but the clerk said that she would hold on to charging it until we arrived since we had two families who were going to each pay for their room. When we arrived at 10:00 p.m., (less than 2 hours after booking), the desk clerk had our paperwork and keys all ready for us! She then used my card to pay for my room and took my brother in laws information for his room, changed it in the computer (from mine) and ran his credit card to pay for his room. She gave us the details of breakfast and the other amenities and we were off to our rooms.....less than 10 minutes in the lobby!! (great!) We had figured that we would have second floor rooms and probably not be next to each other.... so we were pleasantly surprised when the clerk told us that we were not only on the FIRST floor but side by side!! For late reservations, this hotel came through for us. The spaces directly in front of our room doors were open and so we backed in and easily unloaded our vechicles into our rooms. We had checked in and got our stuff in our rooms in less than half an hour. What a great way to end an otherwise very long and tiring day. The cost was extremely reasonable....considering that we made them late on the day of check in. (and they honored our AAA discount!) It was a great value but we did not have to sacrifice for that value. The rooms are standard for this age of a hotel with exterior doors opening directly to the parking lot. The door had a great security lock which I don't see often. (one where you can set the security lock inside but be able to open the door just enough for someone to pass something through. (as well as the eyehole.) I felt very secure in the room. The room had two queen size beds, mini refridgerator, microwave and two nice chairs to sit in by the window. The beds were extremely comfortable although the pillows were a little flat. The room was clean but had that smell of cleaning solutions....but at least you know they are cleaning the room!! The A/C worked great and was easy to adjust. (It was a very hot/humid night). The bathroom had the sink and vanity outside the toilet/tub which is a feature that our family really likes since it allows one person to use the sink and mirror while another is using the toilet/tub/shower. The tub/toilet room was a little small but again, that can be expected from an older hotel. The shower/tub had one of those curved curtain rods which gives you more room in the shower but does take up more space next to the toilet. It was still quite adequate for what you needed to do in there. Water pressure was fine, water temp was fine. My wife did have some problems switching the water from tub faucet to shower, but once she figured it out, it was easy. We had a very restful and comfortable sleep (as I said, we were very tired). There were no noises heard from above or outside. The breakfast is in two small rooms off the lobby. (one for the food and one for seating.). The seating area was small for the size of the hotel, but there were additional seats in the lobby. The food area was somewhat cramped, but you could work your way around it fairly easily. It was standard hotel breakfast fare... waffle machine, breads, fruit, yogurt, cereal and hot foods: eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy. The scrambled eggs were made with onions and peppers in them but they were easy to pick out for us finicky eaters....lol. Everything tasted fine and it was filling. The ladies stocking the breakfast area were friendly and did a great job keeping it stocked. Checkout was less than 5 minutes and we were on our way. The area where this hotel is located has a lot of closed businesses around it and it sits back along a tree line, but don't let those things deter you from choosing this hotel. It is an extremely economical choice in the area with friendly staff and clean rooms that give you plenty of space.
Had a very pleasurable stay at this Best Western. I was very pleased with the beds and that is the main thing that I look for! Clean, and comfy. Had a very nice pool and a great breakfast. Would definitely recommend!
We stopped here late night. Night manager was very welcoming and took great care if us. Breakfast was hot, ready and tasty. Great pool, with nice mosaics on the bottom of dolphin and sting rays. We will stop in if cruising through again.
I'm one who generally writes a review on places (restaurants and hotels) that we've particularly enjoyed. This one is mixed... the breakfast was very good, with the kitchen staff giving attention to details and keeping everything stocked. The room was generally clean (minus the statement in a few sentences to follow)... what you would expect. The beds were made nicely and the bathroom, sink and counters were all in proper order. There were a few insects near the front window on the floor (curled up and dead), as well in the corner of the bathroom... I think they were rollie pollies, but am not confident. The serious downside was the dampness of the room. It triggered an on-going cough for our youngest child, who has a very mild case of asthma. It is usually treated with an inhaler -- that is used two, maybe three times a year. However, our experience here became unmanageable. Our stay was for two nights. The first night was challenging. The second night became unmanageable in light of the unusual schedule we had. We planned to view and photograph the moonbow nearby and as such, did not return to the hotel until around 1:30 a.m. Once everyone was settled, the breathing became challenging again. With it being around 2 a.m., our options were limited -- so our youngest and I slept in the van (where our child could more easily breathe) while the rest of the family stayed in the hotel. If you are looking for a convenient location to nearby attractions, I wouldn't necessarily discourage you from considering staying here. The location is directly off of the freeway (we did not experience a problem with road noise). The beds were very comfortable. However, if any member of your family or party has a breathing condition, you would not receive a recommendation from me for staying here.
We booked here last minute, about an hour before arrival. When we arrived we were a bit disappointed to see it was a motel. However, once we got in the room disappointment disappeared. The room was very clean, very cute and roomy for 2 adults, 2 teens and a dog. Cute red chairs with a table by the entrance. The fridge has a separate freezer. The sink was outside the bathroom which is a great feature so one person can shower while another gets ready. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. It was pet friendly and walking our dog was much easier in a motel. So was unloading and packing. In the morning breakfast had awesome choices. Eggs, bacon, sausage patties, yogurt, oatmeal, waffles, cereal, etc. Drinks included coffee, orange juice, apple juice, milk, tea. Everything was cooked perfectly. It was crowded but the lady working there kept everything well stocked. Every employee I passed smiled and said hello. This included the nice ladies cleaning rooms in this heat. Great service, great breakfast and awesome, clean room. Highly recommended!
The king room was spacious and clean and the renovations were nice. We stopped late and were not disappointed. Breakfast was a bonus and coffee with half and half is a sign of the attention to its guests. The shower was large and had two shower heads. For travelers passing through you should be pleased.
This is what your safety and security is worth to property owner Victor Patel. Victor, this is the review I told you I would write after you refused to respond to my numerous emails. We stayed here a few weeks ago and found the room very nice. But the morning of checkout I went to grab some breakfast and bring it back to the room while my Wife stayed in bed. Returning to the dark room I could not see to manipulate the deadbolt which was unfamiliar and I couldn't find a DND sign which turned out to be a magnet the same color as the door. My Wife said "Don't worry about it, no on is going to come busting in". And then they did!! Two men burst through the door at 10:15 am talking loudly like 3 feet from our bed. Our car, the only one left in the lot, was directly in front of our door. Blinds were drawn and we had asked for a 12PM check out. Anyone with a brain would have knocked. I immediately called the front desk to ask who just busted into our room. She said it must have been Housekeeping but offered no explanation. I dressed and walked out to find the offenders. Every single room had the doors wide open and unoccupied which I found strange. I finally found the two men sitting in a room playing on their phones. They just said sorry sorry as did the desk clerk when I got to her. After completing the guest survey I received I got a response from the owner Victor Patel with an apology and and 10 dollars off our bill. I would expect any competent owner to be horrified that such a thing had happened and to bend over backwards to make it right. But when I responded to his email saying 10 dollars wasn't enough, he never responded. I then contacted Best Western corporate and they never responded either. So I guess this is all your security is worth at any Best Western. I will never stay at another one again. Victor, I told you how nice your Motel was and that all you had to do was step up and I would give you a positive review, but apparently a few dollars is all that stands between you and concern for your guests. BTW the breakfast is awful.
Room was okay, beds were comfy and new floors were a bonus. Check in with Tammy was short and sweet. Drew at check out was very, very nice. He made sure we had all we needed for breakfast as well as helped us find our way to the nearest grocery.
For the money you cannot beat this hotel. Always friendly staff, always clean, great location and very comfortable. And pet friendly!! It even has upgraded wood flooring which is great for allergies and overall appearance and cleanliness.
Excellent front desk service by trained and qualified personnel during both check in and during the time of our lodging. The room was clean and very comfortable as well as being well stocked with needed toiletries.
We had a very nice stay at the Corbin Inn. It has been recently remodeled, very clean, pet friendly and convenient to I 75. The breakfast was better than average and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. Our kitty got trapped behind a drawer which we could not remove. They graciously helped us extract her and we were able to continue our trip. We recommend this hotel for leisure and business travelers, families and couples. It is one of the very best BW Hotels we have seen.
The breakfast was awesome your breakfast attendant was friendly and very helpful actually all the staff was pleasant thank you the rooms are very clean I love the flooring it's so much healthier and relaxing every hotel should follow your example and upgrade their rooms guarantee they would have more business rooms are reasonably priced and that's comforting this day and time with everything so high
We enjoyed a very nice stay at this hotel. Staff was friendly & efficient..morning staff named Drew..didn't catch our check in staff's name.. Our room had recently been remodeled as well.. nice comfy bed, clean and the addition of a settee for tv watching was very nice as well. Price was a little on the high side, but I'd say it was worth it for a good night's sleep. Breakfast was very nice as well...above average selections and clean, clean, clean
We have stayed here before on our way to and from Florida. This year they are In the process of renovations, our room had been renovated and was extememly tasteful, beautiful wood floor, comfy bed not to forget the chaise, This is a perfect location as it's just of I75, and allows pets. There were 2 cats wondering outside, which made our day..we had to give them some of our cats food which they gobbled down. Highly reccommend this hotel
Checked in late on a Saturday night, hadn't stayed here before, very nice (remodeled- per front desk) rooms, no carpet a plus- nice, clean, either wood look ceramic or laminate floors. Great coffee (Folgers 100% Colombian) for continental breakfast !
Everything was as expected from a Best Western. No issues - staff was friendly and attentive. Couldn't ask for anything more. Hotel was close to local sites and attractions. Next time I am in the area I will be staying here.
Okay, We travel from time to time. Our go to motel is Best Western. We use them because of our Costco membership. I know that there is different grades of motels, But we did not want to pay for a clogged sink. I know this motel is dated. But really! Breakfast was typical of most that we have stayed at. But please discard daily all biscuits. That thing was as hard as a rock. Cheap food to make people happy, especially in the morning. Use this as a rule of thumb. When I pay for something I want the whole value. Please look at the small things that go a long way for the customer. Staff was friendly an kind.
various rooms , we tried , are all very good and really clean !!!!!!! it's been a pleasure to stay with this innkeeper and his staff !!!!! any time , we travel south and north , it's certainly our place !
Excellent place to stop in Corbin area. Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good. Room was comfortable and clean. Entrance to room is exterior, but in our case we were able to park in front of our door and the room was very quiet.
Stayed here because it was the only pet friendly hotel available the weekend we went. The carpet in the bedroom was nasty. This is an old, danky hotel in much need of updating. Fairly clean, but I am a clean freak so it was not up to my standards. A lot of really good restaurants within walking distance, however.
It couldn't have been better. My husband had just gotten out of the hospital a few days before. We needed a room with some handicap amenities. I didn't ask for that. All I said to the front desk person was he couldn't do stairs. She picked up on it immediately and put us in the perfect room. Thank you so much
Corbin is just over half way home to the GTA from the Tampa Bay area in Florida. This Best Westin is quiet, clean, had a great breakfast bar (including great coffee) and is very conveniently located. Will stay here again!
Stopped here late at night on our way home from Florida. Hotel doesn't look like anything great on the outside but inside is extremely clean. I was surprised how large our room was (#209) and our beds and pillows were very comfortable. I was sad we were leaving so early the next morning because it was such a nice bed. Did not stay for the breakfast. Would recommend to anyone.
Impeccably clean, friendly staff, mattresses to die for, excellent breakfast......why you would want to stay anywhere else is beyond me. We arrived after 13 hours of driving and were thrilled to find such great accomodations. We will be back!
Had read that this was under renovation, but if we hadn't read that, we never would have known. Nothing was out of place, no building materials anywhere. There was a storage barn behind the building, but even that was neat. The room was beautiful...new bathroom (no tub) huge bed with ample pillows, wood floors. The room was everything you would hope to have in a room.
We stayed at the Best Western Corbin Inn on our way to visit relatives in IN. Upon check-in, we were greeted by a very professional and friendly employee. We were traveling with our pet and were given a first floor room - we appreciated that so much. The room had recently been renovated and was very nicely decorated. The wi-fi connection was very good - something you don't find very often at hotels. The breakfast was excellent and had a variety of hot and cold items to choose from - including real scrambled eggs and bacon. The coffee was amazing too! We will definitely return to this hotel on our next trip to visit our relatives in IN. It was a very enjoyable stay.
An older style motel with outside access but the rooms have been updated with modern décor and VERY comfortable beds. We received a courtesy call just after our arrival to make sure everything was acceptable. Although we left too early for breakfast, we did manage to grab a cup of coffee which was AMAZING!
The hotel is close to I75 so was easy to find. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends. We will be staying here next year on our trip to the sunny South.
I would not stay here again. The heat was not on when we got there. We thought it wouldn't take long to warm up. It did take until morning....we wore clothes and socks to bed. Very uncomfortable. On a higher note the shower was powerful.
This hotel is wonderful. Great staff, great breakfast, rooms are recently renovated and beautiful. Definitely will come back and highly recommend it to anyone. Great area too, surrounded by various restaurants
Hotel looked very good as did the room. A couple of problems occurred during our overnight, the water would not shut off completely in the tub and I woke up to find a large bug crawling across my bed. Did not do breakfast as we needed to get on the highway. Not really one of the Best Westerns I have stayed in.
Hotel is nice compared to the hotels that are around this city. Good internet connection and very easy off and on the highway. Newly upgraded eating Area. Breakfast is nothing fancy but it's nice enough.
The furniture in our pet friendly room was covered in dog hair. The room smelled like a dirty room sprayed with air freshener to make it smell better. The carpet & chairs were worn & dirty. The people in the room next door were leaving at 4:30 a.m., so we were kept awake by a vehicle left running right outside our door, and the noise of car doors slamming, their toilet flushing, their room door slamming over & over as they went in & out.. The breezeway to the lobby was full of dusty old furniture & the back rooms where we were, faced an overflowing garbage container & a 53' shipping container. The breakfast was mediocre, the coffee was good, the staff were friendly. We were very disappointed, as we had stayed at a Best Western in Valdosta GA the previous night & it was clean, the furnishings were not outdated or dirty & the rooms were soundproof. A far cry from this Best Western in Corbin KY....We will not stay here again ! We would definitely NOT RECOMMEND this hotel !
The room was nice and clean and pet friendly. Location was great. Will definitely stay here again. It is hard to find s place to stay that has the doors to the rooms on the outside of the building. This makes luggage so much easier to handle
Very comfortable bed and pillows, room was clean and staff was very friendly and professional. Location was convenient to our travel route. We would return to this Best Western Hotel when traveling in this area in the future. We trust the Best Western Hotel brand.
We spent 2 nights there and thoroughly enjoyed our time. We were in the back of one of the buildings and it was so quiet, never heard the busy highway in front. Didn't hear neighbors either. The breakfast is so much better, since it was the simple style, scrambled eggs, sausage, gravy and biscuits. Too many places use those egg patties with hot peppers and etc.
We always stay at Best Westerns when we travel. This was our first experience with this B/W. We stayed one night while traveling to Norwalk, Ohio. Room was clean; beds were comfortable. Internet was very slow (1 to 3 Mbps) and was almost un-usable. We thought the Room Charge was a bit high for the area. Best part of this stay was Bubby's BBQ which was recommended by the Front Desk Clerk as a dinner place. Best BBQ Buffet we've ever experienced!
again , as usual , we were welcomed and greeted with some goodies . the receptionist has an excellent memory . Victor please repair , or relace the armchair in the 2 nd disabled room . other than that , every thing was just perfect !!!!!!!!
I was pleased with my stay at the Best Western Corbin Inn, but for the price, I would have loved to be able to use the internet. I logged in and about 5 minutes later, there was a power outage or something and that was it for the internet (and t.v.), but the t.v. came back on after a short time. If I were there for business, I would have been very disappointed.
Very nice accommodations. Excellent value. The room was nice with 2 queen beds and all the amenities. Grandchildren were with us and we were all very satisfied with the breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to all travelers.
We got a room here last minute after driving back from Gatlinburg. We were able to get a room, which was really nice. It wasn't too cramped, and had a nice desk + 2 single person arm chairs. The water pressure on the shower was perfect, I must say. Breakfast has a pretty good amount of options, including pancakes and waffles. Definitely a nice place to stay if you are on some kind of road trip or have been driving all day and need to settle down for the night.
After 13 hours on road a welcome respite. Very clean, beds were amazing, and a good breakfast. Pet friendly also important to us. Left our Kindle and a book, called and they had already been turned in. Victor Patel was extremely responsive to our situation and mailed our belongings the next postal business day. We will definitely return.
this was a good location for our trip to see the 'moonbow' at Cumberland Falls State Park. the desk clerk was very friendly and helpful and gave us a room right outside the main lobby with an outdoor corridor on the other side of the room. because of this the room was very quiet at all times. they served a great breakfast too. the location was away from the road so there was no noise from traffic.
We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area. Very quiet, clean, and friendly staff! They were knowledgeable about the area and printed off directions and information about different places we wanted to see and do
We booked two rooms (4 family members) thought rooms very comfortable. Had a problem with commode flusher, shower water pressure was terrific. The price you book isn't the price that's charged- so many fees/ taxes whatever? Overall staff was terrific and will stay here in future visits.
Stayed for 3 nights. The accommodations were up to BW standards. The breakfast selection was good and well prepared. Sleep quality was good. There were several restaurants within walking distance. I would stay here again. My only complaint is there were old mattresses stacked in the causeway which really gave the place a seedy appearance. I heard they are to be donated to needy people but they really need to make an effort to have them removed asap!
Staff was very cordial and helpful. Breakfast items were fresh and plentiful with lots of extras not normally found with other places we've stayed. Swimming pool was clean and refreshing, especially for so late in September.
Hotel is tired, room was dirty, carpet and furniture were stained. Very over priced for what was offered. This is the 4th poor quality Best Western that I have stayed in in the past 2 years. The chain is in decline. I can not recommend it or the entire chain any more.
Great place to stay. Very friendly and great with your pet.The Breakfast area is still under a remodel but the lady ruing the breakfast will be as helpful as any i ever dealt with. There is a good area to walk the dog if noise bothers you just ask for a back room.
Great hotel, I have gotten to know the owner & he & his wife try to treat us very nice and they do that. They give us a special price & anyone who comes with us. We come down to Laurel Lake several times a year & always stay at this Best Western. It is nice & they have a very nice breakfast.
The hotel was very conveniently located for our purpose as we were headed to Cumberland Falls the next day. The location was quite, yet close to the highway. The hotel staff was efficient and accommodating.
We stayed here for one night on a short trip. Our room was clean, roomy and the needs were comfortable. The breakfast was good and even though the dining time had ended they kept fresh food coming as people coming in. The customer service at the front desk was exceptional. They were glad to accommodate a special request I had, made me feel welcome and that my business was valued.
Beautiful hotel with very friendly staff! Room was very clean and updated. Loved the pool. Good breakfast, kept very clean. Loved the yogurt machine and toppings. Fun things to do in the area. Will definitely be back when in the area.
Can't say enough about this little jewel. Exceeded my expectations of a [non-high-end] hotel. Everything was clean; the decor in the room was very nice, the outside well maintained. AND they accept pets! Outside room entry made it easy to take pets in and out. No pet odors in room whatsoever.
The front desk person even let us look at the room before we checked in. She then directed us to the local grocery store. She then gave us a discount on the room because it was so late.Excellent pet-friendly hotel.
I really don't have much to review, arrived late, very tired and had to get on the road early the next day. But room was great, very clean and comfortable. I had been on the road for two weeks and had a few issues along the way with other hotels. To end my trip here was a gift! Staff was helpful and just exceptional! Breakfast was above average. Check in and Out - Super! Last time we were in the area for a family vacation we stayed at the state park - next time it will be here!
Arrived early and was assigned a room on the back side of the hotel. It wasn't quite ready but we only waited about 20 minutes. Easy access from the interstate and a short distance from Cumberland Falls, this place worked well for us. There was a minimal pet fee and adequate areas on property to walk our 5# furry friend. The hotel and grounds are very well kept and the room was clean. Bed was comfortable enough but the recliner had seen better days. We had a very quiet, good night of sleep. The breakfast was only fair but there is a Waffle House across the road if you choose. The coffee here at the hotel was very good! Arby's is a close walk down the hill and made for a quick dinner in the room,. We will remember this hotel and will return!
The staff at this Best Western as well as others has always been very pleasant. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. My family and I have stayed at the Best Western Hotels for years and will continue to do so, as long as they do not change.
Very clean and a wonderful staff. They are always very attentive to my needs. I will use them anytime that accommodations are needed. I look forward to working with them again in the future. Victor is fantastic and is always trying to please his customers. thanks again for a wonderful stay.
I am impressed with this hotel. The staff Victor, Tammy, Ashley and Amy, give a wonderful welcome. Very clean and spacious rooms. Out door pool and pet friendly. They have smoking rooms if needed, but all rooms open to the outside. Breakfast is wonderful
Not happy with the room price or the roomsedmed old and mirror not glued on in bathroom. Price was way too high for what it was. We stayed at best western in pigeon forge 89.00 that was great. Bed slept good and everything was good.
Stayed for 3 nights for a archery tournament. Room was damp and musty when we arrived and the air conditioning was off. The topi, etc worked poorly and backed up on the second night and flooded our bathroom an soaked the carpet at the bathroom entrance.
Impeccably clean room*, & attentive caring staff highlight this Best Western! It's the third time we've stayed & our pet always seems comfortable here. (*Albeit, it's not the most modern facility.) Great value for room with full breakfast! Additional pet fee is also reasonable as compared to others on route I-75!
Best staff. Very clean rooms and clean outside. Well kept motel. Loved staying here .and will stop every time I pass through Corbin.i recommend this hotel if you ever are in Corbin The staff is well trained to meet and beat your expectations.
This is one of the best & cleanest hotels I've stayed in. We stopped in the middle of the night. The staff was great to deal with as well extra updated & clean rooms. I will definitely be staying here again!
Was driving through Kentucky on I-75...stopped here and had a smiling face greet us at 1:30 am!! Appreciated the cleanliness and fresh smell of the room! Had a good night's rest! The beds were amazing! Fresh coffee and light breakfast in the morning made a perfect light fare for the upcoming drive.
This BW is a good stop, just off the interstate and up a hill above the cross road. Was a bit worried when we arrived that road noise might be an issue, plus the parking area was jammed with cars and trucks...anticipated a lot of coming and going noise in the morning, especially since we wanted to sleep in a bit after driving late. What a pleasant surprise to be just four doors from the office and still find the parking area almost empty when we went to breakfast...nicely insulated rooms from noise. Slightly older furnishings, but still comfy...plus good beds and bedding, linens, etc. Made for a good night's sleep. Everything was clean. Bathroom fixtures all worked well. Refrigerator had a small freezer section allowing for refreezing ice packs for traveling with a small cooler. We misunderstood the closing time for breakfast and arrived at 9 just as they were putting things away...no problem...missing items were returned in seconds and we were never rushed to eat...quite the contrary.."take your time". Typical BW breakfast with some hot and cold offerings with some pluses....in addition to regular milk choices, they had two types of Almond milk along with the yogurts, etc. They also had 6 dishes of nuts and other additions for cereals, yogurt, etc. The breakfast area is small with only a few [maybe 4] tables which is one reason we waited as the lodge was full and we anticipated a crowd. Lobby is small with desk & internet, couches, but tasteful. Overall a great place to stop while traveling when looking for a convenient, reasonably priced night's stay. Would be happy to stop here again.
We were stranded in Corbin Kentucky due to car problems on our way to Tennessee. Not only was the hotel nice, the staff went above and beyond to help us and make us feel welcome. We would definitely stay again.
Just returned from a trip to Corbin Kentucky. The peopl3 at the hotel were very friendly and went out of their way to ensure all your needs were met. Definitely would stay there again. Breakfast included a few hot items.
We were traveling through on a rainy day on motorcycles! These people were so super nice! Even though their lobby was busy with travelers, they immediately offered WARM DRY towels for some weary and wet bikers!!! And then he even offered his industrial dryer for us to dry our wet clothes!! This is the cleanest roadside non- planned hotels that I have ever stayed in! You could tell that the owners/operators took pride in what they were doing. Once we got settled in our room, Victor even gave us a call to see how we liked our room and to see if he could do anything else for us! When in the area and in need of an affordable decent place to lay your head - this is the place to stop!!! Thank you for your kindness!
The room was comfortable, first floor, pet friendly, smoking, double beds. Fit our needs. Overall, it was what we needed after a long day on the road. Pet outside area not really convenient and the area was a bit messy, not because of animals, but other trash
Very clean and the decor was beautiful!! The staff were very helpful. Mr. & Mrs. Patel were the sweetest and friendliest owners/managers at any hotel I've stayed in. I'd highly recommend this hotel. I will visit there again.
Our second year to stay at the Corbin Inn enroute from Florida. Welcoming lobby. Extremely helpful check in. Comfortable well equipped room. Helpful directions. Quick check out. See you again next year.
Outdoor pool was closed for the season which the kids were upset about. Great staff! Average breakfast but super small area. They kept the food out longer then they were supposed too to accommodate all guests. Refrigerator was broken but issue was resolved easily.
We stayed in a room close to the pool and exercise room. The spa and pool were refreshing. Exercise equipment was older and couldn't use the squeaky elliptical machine so used the treadmill. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Staff at desk and cleaning personnel were friendly and helpful. Only thing in our room that was a disappointment was the old hairdryer with very low power. Breakfast was good and the fresh fruit options were great!
My friend was stranded when her car broke down on I75 and this place was wonderful! Mr. Patel was so friendly and helpful! The went above and beyond, even had someone take luggage that was too heavy too the car! Rooms were beautiful and well kept! Very clean! All the items needed were available! Ironing board, microwave, frig, two very nice chairs and a desk! Overlooking the area and a great hot breakfast! The decor in the office is like home away from home, but more luxurious!
Easy to find, friendly staff, rooms were not bad, cleaning could better, had some dust on several spots and table was not clean. Breakfast was not bad, but as usual as al BW's. Bathroom ok, but as at most hotels, toilets are too low. Bed was good, did not step out with back or neck pain. Can stay again.
This hotel had the best water pressure and shower head that we have seen in our 26 consecutive nights in hotels during this vacation, as well as in all of our 60+ nights in motels this year. They also had the most comfortable mattress of all those same hotels. We loved this location.
Would not recommend. Service was terrible. Right by the highway, so unless you put a fan on you would hear all the trucks travelling on the I 75. The drain in the bathroom didn't drain properly, so when you took a shower the water wouldn't drain. Our friends had a room beside ours, and when they took a shower the water was squirting to the light socket, and was going all over the bathroom floor.
Very neat and tidy hotel with excellent beds. The breakfast room could be a little bigger, but the breakfast selection is very good and cleverly displayed to avoid waste. Convenient, clean, comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel.
This was such a nice hotel. Clean, friendly staff, nice location. I wish I could rate it higher, but the breakfast was so beyond disappointing, I can only rate it an "average". When we went for breakfast, not even towards the end, there were no eggs, or waffle batter. Milk was chilled with ice cubes. I tried grabbing one banana, but it was squishy. I finally settled on a bowl of dry cereal. While this was all disappointing, the manager of the hotel did already respond to me, and address my concerns. I would stay here again, without hesitation. BUT, I would go out for breakfast.
I stay at Best Western every time I make a trip to Corbin Kentucky. The rooms are nice and cozy. The beds are nice and clean and very comfortable. They have warm hot delicious breakfast. The staff treats you like family every time. You will not be disappointed with your stay.
From beginning to end this was a great stay. Staff was very nice and friendly. The room was clean and breakfast very good. The hotel is convenient to many good restaurants and downtown. I was traveling with a dog and everything was just right. I felt safe and secure in my room. Excellent!
I'm a frequent extended stay guest and travel with my two dogs. We are always welcomed by the gracious owners and friendly staff, who consistently work hard to make sure that our experience is outstanding. Rooms and outdoor pool are kept meticulously clean. Highly recommended.
This is an older property that was undergoing some updates and has outside entry to rooms. Some highway noise could be heard starting around 7 AM, but that's common with outside entry properties. Our room had one king bed and had good lighting for such a spacious room. There was no tub but the tiled shower was huge and had two shower heads. The mattress wasn't as firm as I would like, but that's really more of an individual preference, so I can't really complain. It was an easy drive to Cumberland Falls State Park and there are several restaurants options close to this property. I felt the area was safe so, as a female, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I visit this area in the future. The staff was super friendly and I received a call after check-in to make sure I was happy with my room.
They were allowed us to check in a bit early, the room was clean, they had a nice breakfast selection, are pet friendly (for a $15 fee), the housekeeper (Tito) was very friendly, and sadly that's where the good ends. They are more like a $70 hotel NOT the $108 that we paid! From reading other reviews I know the owner will reply and state that he believes his prices are competitive... I would agree if the services were comparable. The beds made a crunchy type sound which was annoying and they were a little on the hard side. The toilet flushed extremely loudly and would run with a very loud hissing sound for about a minute after flushing every time. The first morning we had to shower in standing water (gross!). It started backing up immediately after turning on the shower and was ankle deep by the end of a 10 minute shower. I called the office to request a repair immediately after the first shower and was told there was no maintenance person that day but they would see if they could contact someone. I was never notified if they came to do the repair but discovered the next morning that they did not because we had the same problem. I did not report it the second morning because we were checking out and needed to get showered and out the door. Upon checkout I let the person at the front desk know that it was still not repaired and all they said was "Oh I'm sorry". I requested a receipt and was told I could not be given one since it was booked through Priceline which I found odd but I was understanding of. I then requested a receipt for the pet fee that I paid them directly for and after waiting a couple minutes was told that I could not be given a printed one but they could hand write one for me.
the rooms are extra clean and well equipped with the latest !!!!!! we had a real good sleep and rested well , after we were checked in , we found a bag of welcome goodies in our room . we were offered a room for disabled people , as I just had a knee replacement . Thanks Dieter & Ingrid
My wife and I were very impressed with this motel. The location is great. The grounds are very tastefully decorated. The rooms are modest but are clean and in good order. The gentleman at the front desk was very courteous and friendly. There are several places to eat within reasonable walking distance. I would place a high value on this BW motel.
Impeccably clean pet-friendly room on ground floor. Complimentary breakfast was well done (waffles, bun sized egg omelettes, & sausage patties, fresh fruit, yogurts, coffee, etc to go!) Staff friendly & checkout was fast. Will be staying on a regular basis while enroute to & from Canada! Thxs PS- staff recommended BUBBA's BBQ next door for dinner & it was great too.
A pleasant stay, not far away is a must see Cumberland Falls! We also got to see the first KFC Restaurant and Museum. Had a delicious meal at the steakhouse across the street, and even took in a night of Bingo at the Hall across the street as well.
This place was very very clean .very nice comfortable beds ...and just very nice in everything.. The nicest staff and big yummy wide varity of breakfast...loved staying ..We will be back !! Loved the nice touch with the Bible on the night stand too..
Had a good stay at the Best Western in Corbin. They were working on the parking lot during my visit but my room was clean and comfy and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Definitely a great place to stay, and the price was right too!
The Corbin Inn of Corbin, Kentucky (Best Western) is a great place to stay from a variety of perspectives. They are right off of Cumberland Falls road, providing easy access to the State Park and National Forest. The staff go out of their way to meet the needs of the guest. And they allow dogs to stay with their families, for a nominal charge. We'll be back!!
Check-in was smooth. Tammy gave us a nice non-smoker on the second floor that was neat and clean. Coffee in the room and 24/7 in the lobby. Easy well place steps to the second floor were appreciated by this "older couple". Very good.
For the past few years we have been stopping at this hotel for a quick overnight stay. It's very conveniently located just of I75. It's pets friendly ($15.00 surcharge per pet ), room price includes breakfast. In the past it was easy to grab and go breakfast, you could order your choice at the check in and it was ready for you at the check out time. It was great for us as we leave early ( breakfast is served from 6 am). Not this time. The night clerk was aware of the grab and go option, but did not have a menu, she did say to call the front desk in the morning and find out what is available and assured me that it would be ready at the check out. I decided to go in and get breakfast myself. I asked for the bag to put our breakfast in, the receptionist said that the hotel does not have any. I'm not sure if the grab and go option is no longer available or staff is unaware of it. The hotel grounds have undergone some recent landscaping and painting/stucco work and curb appeal is better then before. The rooms are basic, clean, equipped with mini fridge and microwave, coffee maker. Some furniture should be replaced due to age, please see picture. AAA price for 2 people, king bed is $98.00 Free parking, it's 2 story hotel, but if you have a room downstairs and are lucky to park in front of your room it is very convenient.
This was a very comfortable stay, very clean and the treat bag was a good surprise ( Hint put two waters). The staff was very help full, the brochures did not help, we were trying to find out about area attractions. We had a pet frenly room and everything was great. Will stay hear again when back in the area. I still hate the small pillows.
The Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful but the hotel is poorly maintained. It is located just of the highway so finding it is easy. But for the price paid there are better options. It would be better priced in the $70 range not the $100 we paid.
The outdoor appearance is kept up very nice. The rooms are especially nice. And the breakfast bar is very good. My only complaint is that I would like them to extend the time until 10:00am. Our trips are always for pleasure & we like to sleep in.
This hotel exceeded our expectations completely. Food at breakfast was exceptional. Staff was super helpful. Room was extremely comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone in the area. Even for just a night,
We were traveling to SC from Chicago and this was a 1/2 way stop over for a night. We were traveling with our dog and when searching for hotels in the area, I quickly noted that it was "Pet Friendly". And it was - but when I checked in, I was informed of a $15 per day surcharge for our pet. When I noted this back to the hotel on a survey, I questioned the charge. The GM wrote back to me and noted that this policy had been in effect since 2000 and was noted on their website. So I quickly went to their website and noticed that it said "Pet Friendly", but at that point on the website there was no further mention of an additional charge, no footnote reference, no "*" - or anything like this to indicate that I should read further. And the GM was correct, the $15 extra charge was noted on the website, BUT it was no where near the "Pet Friendly" reference. When I further studied all of the "fine print" I was able to finally see the notation of the extra charge. Personally, I feel that this is an unfair practice. No apology was offered by the GM, just a note that indicated that "they were right and I was wrong". When we travel through this area again, I will search for a more straightforward or transparent hotel website. There are several hotels in the area - so I would keep looking!
We had "crunchy" beds and chairs. We did not use the pool, but it was outside and looked nice. We also could hear toilets and showers running from the rooms around us at all times of day or night, but not much traffic noise despite being close to the interstate. Breakfast was nice and it was clean, a little small, we took it back to our room. Not the best coffee. It was just okay for a BW
We stayed for 5 nights on business! The staff was always great! The attendant at the breakfast bar was always on top of things! The food tasted very good! The swimming pool is very nice and the grounds were well-kept! I can't say anything bad about our stay! Very close to the interstate and it served the purpose for what we needed very well!
Planned a 7 days stay July 23 - 30 for some motorcycle riding in the area with 6 other couples . We got there Saturday July 23 and check in and every thing was fine till Tuesday evening. I had bought 3 new pair of Levi's for the trip that was washed and packed along with 1 older faded pair 5 days before we headed that way about 600 mile trip. So that gave me 5 pair- 3 new 2 older counting the pair I wore there. On Tuesday evening get ready to take a shower and find that only had one clean pair of new Levi's left. Had one pair on so should have still have 2 but 3rd pair know where to be found. Someone had to have taken them. Told the lady at front desk about 9 pm said she would leave a note telling management and I requested no one enter our room from then on. Next day find a note on the door from Victor say he talked to his house cleaning employees (like there going to admit to it)and they had not taking them. Said I must misplaced them or something basically calling me a lair! I know 100% I had them there and someone I don't who took them but who ever it was had to have had a key. If I hadn't been so far away I would have left that night! I don't care how good a hotel is if someone is stealing from me it not worth spending a dollar!!! Will I ever stay there again NO WAY and will not ever recommend them to anyone I know and the 6 other couples feel the same way!!!
From the time we checked in to the time we checked out we had such an incredible stay. The staff at this location was one of the best staff I had come across. Very attentive to the guests. Breakfast was wonderful (the toppings for eggs was a plus) and everything was well stocked. Decor of the hotel was just beautiful. Pool area and sitting were well thought out and well taken care of. Rooms were clean and the room attendants wowed me! So nice to leave me a gift and note. Plus the detail they took to put our room back together even though we were a stay-over was wonderful! Placing my kids stuffed animals the way they did impressed me. We had 3 rooms and all three were very clean. I have absolutely no complaints about this best western location and my family and I will be back. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
It took me 3 trips to the office to get my door key to work. Three different spieces of bugs. Sheets were old and pilled. The refrigerator was non working. The staff was extremely nice and gave me a gift bag upon arrival. I felt the staff was doing their best, and the disrepair and non working items were the fault of managment or owners.
First time we stayed at this BW, will do again when traveling through. We only stayed one night. Beds and pillows very comfortable, room 105 was very clean, the A/C worked great. We did not eat breakfast since was typical hotel breakfast but several were eating in there. The value was great for us since got a free night through our BW rewards. Highly recommend their rewards program. They give a lot.
We stayed here for one night on our way home to North Carolina. In my opinion, this Best Western should be rated as the number 1 place to stay in Corbin by TripAdvisor. My husband and I stayed at the number 1 rated hotel during this trip on our way from North Carolina to Wisconsin. We chose not to stay at that hotel on our return trip to NC because the place did not meet our expectations of a hotel with that ranking. We were very happy that we chose Best Western! The General Manager, Victor Patel, welcomed us as we entered the lobby. He quickly got us into our King room located at the back of the property on the first floor. He called our room shortly after we got in to make sure everything was OK with the room! Parking right at our door was very convenient for unloading the few things we needed for a one night stay. The room was large, clean and quiet. The sink with a long counter and granite top was located outside of the bathroom area. Water pressure in the shower was wonderful! The towels were large and thick. The bed was comfortable and had several pillows. A nice size fridge and microwave was included in the room. There was a desk with outlets for charging electronics. The desk chair, however, had seen better days as the faux leather had peeled off on the back and much of the seat. A large upholstered chair sat to the side of the desk. Breakfast was above the typical Best Western offerings. They had three kinds of nuts, granola, coconut and chocolate bits for waffles and yogurt. They also had the typical waffle maker, eggs, cereal, breakfast meat, juices, etc. The lady in charge of the breakfast area was attentive. She kept the area super clean and stopped by tables asking guests if they needed anything. She even took our trash away! We would stay here again if we were in Corbin!
Clean, comfortable bed. We'll run, helpful staff. Breakfast was good, though small dining area. Bathroom was tiny but the shower water pressure was strong with plenty of hot water. Will stay again, convenient for outdoor adventures.
Everytime I come to Kentucky I stay at this hotel. The staff welcomes you with open arms. The rooms are very nice and clean. They have hot breakfast. The have a very nice pool that's always clean.Trust me you will not be disappointed wen staying here.
First, the desk agent was very pleasant when I called directly to book a room. She gave us a great deal. The hotel is a very easy hop off the freeway. Then we walk in the king-sized bed room, and I love it. It is very clean and well appointed. Two chairs for sitting. The bed is very comfy. Pretty large room. All in all, I am very pleased.
This was an enjoyable motel. PET friendly. Had a room on the ground floor in the back of the motel, parking right in front of the room. Room was spacious and clean, had a nice sitting area. WI-FI worked great. Fantastic shower. This motel was so nice that we returned for a 2nd day to stay again before heading on since our explorations took us longer than planned before continuing on to another destination.
This was a hidden gem. Very pleasant staff, super clean, and incredibly comfortable. Rooms and lobby seemed like new and breakfast was great. I would highly recommend this place for an overnight our extended stay. Enjoy, I'll be back.
We have stayed at this hotel 4 times and each and every time it has been outstanding! The owner (I'm sorry i forget your name) is so friendly and accomodating.....and Lynn who works the front desk is beyond awesome! The hotel is clean with great beds and super showers! We will be back! Thanks!
Very clean ,comfortable beds, very helpful and courteous staff. We will definitely stay here again. Everything was just how you always hope it will be but seldom find. Breakfast was typical continental but no complaints, hot food and well attended to.
Great service, everyone was willing to help us with places to see and always ready to answer our questions. The room was very clean and had lots of towels for us. Breakfast was filling with lots of food to chose from. The bed was very comfortable. The motel is right off the interstate, so easy to find.
Everything about our stay was nice. Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. Staff called each night we checked in (we stayed here on the way to Georgia and again a week later on the way back) to make sure everything was OK and to see if we needed anything! We really appreciated having a nice, clean, non smoking room where our dogs are welcome too! We also liked being able to park outside our door. The air conditioning worked well and was simple to adjust. Plenty of amenities. NICE, POWERFUL water pressure in the shower: EXECELLENT! Also, more choices than normal for the complimentary breakfast.
Lovely motel with courteous staff. Outside garden quite nice and restful. Motel was easy to reach via interstate highway. The manager of the motel was helpful and gave us good suggestions. plenty of dining facilities were close to motel.
Nice place to stay. Beautiful area. Beds are OK but not the best. Staff is very friendly and polite. Did not use their breakfast area since there is a Cracker Barrel so close but everything looked clean.
Excellent staff - friendly, efficient. Recently upgraded rooms. Everything in the room you would need. Clean outside. Easy parking. Clean refreshing pool. Will stay here next time we are in the area. Good food choices in area.
Updated rooms, very clean, classic old style motel...we piled 2 adults, and three kids, (one five years old) in a two queen room, took the two chairs and butted them together for the little one. FYI the don not have roll away's. I recommend this place, comfortable and economical!
After being on the road for 13 hours we were desperately seeking a hotel that would take a dog. They did but it was an additional charge of $15.00 which wasn't too bad compared to another chain that wanted $35.00! The room was updated, furnished nicely and clean! The complimentary continental breakfast was everything you could ask for and more.
the owner had a gift basket waiting for us in the room , which was very clean and one could feel at home . we do use this place all the time we travel to and from the south ( Florida ) we will stay at that place any time we travel through that area Dieter & Ingrid Grzella
I always look forward to staying at the best western in Corbin. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They are right off 75 and have several good choices of places to eat at, and just a few minutes away from the Cumberland falls state park. Their breakfast is great they have scrambled eggs with the option to add onions, green peppers and shredded cheese which is my favorite. I love the upgrade they did by getting a utensil dispensers.
I have stayed at BW many times over the years. I know what to expect and am rarely disappointed. No, it is not a 5 star hotel. But it is clean, staffed with pleasant people and is affordable. A decent hot breakfast makes it my choice when possible.
Comfy beds, free hot breakfast that was ok, free wifi at a good price. Located right off 75 in Corbin. Lots of restaurants nearby and easy access to everything. Above average for what we paid. I would stay again.
very surprised at how nice the renovations were! rooms were updated and very clean, beds were comfy. quiet setting even though near I 75. breakfast was average. staff was helpful. would stay there again if travel called for that area. and they take pets.
Friendly helpful staff, clean newly updated rooms. Breakfast is included, basic items. Enough to get you started for the day. Great place to stop. Easy access off and on the freeway. Enough restaurant options nearby for dinner.
When I booked this motel I went through Expedia. Expedia was the mistake! I'd had both knees replaced 11 weeks prior & I'd requested a ground floor room, for obvious reasons. Expedia told me at that time that "room selection is at the discretion of the motel". That's NOT the real story! The real story is that Expedia buys a certain block of rooms & THOSE are the ones that we get! Kristen C., desk clerk at the Corbin Best Western didn't have a first floor room for me like I'd requested, but she called several other local motels until she found one that suited our needs. She was excellent in every way! So, even though we didn't stay there THIS time, I would not hesitate to stay there in the future. Only next time...NO EXPEDIA!!
I booked this room on priceline based on how close it was to Cumberland Falls State Park. There were nto a ton of options in the area that were pet friendly so I was prepared for it to be less than great. The lobby was very clean and check in was quick and easy. An additional $15 was required to have a pet stay with us. Our room was around back with parking right in front of our door. We walked in and were pleasantly surprised that it was very good sized. There was a seating area with 2 chairs and a small side table, the 2 beds, bureau/tv stand and a mini fridge with micro. At the end of the room was a large sink area and then a bathroom with shower/tub. Room was very clean. The only thing missing was a desk area which made it hard for all 3 of us using our laptops. The wifi in the room was great. We did not get dropped at all and we had several devices going. Breakfast was included with our stay. Unfortunately they made the waffle batter SO thick that the waffles were just too dense and tough to eat. It was almost good to see though because so many places make it too thin trying to stretch it out so I know this place does not try to "cheap out" for lack of a better term. The biscuits had also clearly been out all morning because they were literally like hockey pucks & we did not have time to ask for new ones. We made due with what other items were available. There is a waffle house, mexican restaurant, liquor store and gas station all right next to or across from the hotel. About 2-3 miles up the road is a Kroger grocery store and more places to go eat. If we were back in the area, we would stay again.
The Best Western-Corbin KY is a good hotel. It is conveniently located near I-75 and various restaurants and service stations are near by. The staff at the hotel at the hotel are friendly, welcoming and very efficient, and the bed in our room was very comfortable. The only weak point was the extra furniture in the room--the overstuffed chair and desk chair were both very worn and almost broken.
When I first check in they tried putting me upstairs when I booked a downstairs, then I get into room and my 3 yr old Grandson brings me a diabetic needle, toe nail clippings on floor, someone had shaved in the sink (not clean), bathroom floor dirty, clump of hair in between sheets. I went and complained and it blew up from there. You can hear the water running from the next room flushing toilet, the only thing GOOD about this hotel was the bed was soft, and the pillows were fluffy
This motel is updated, very clean, bed was very comfortable. Ask for a room with a desk if you need one. Not all have them as yet. Front desk staff Amberr, Kristin and Tammy were more than accommodating with a small issue I had trying to connect to the Internet. They took the time to make sure my iPad was connected which took a concerted effort on the part of each of them. Excellent Customer Service !!! Breakfast was the regular waffles, cereal, yogurt etc. But also included eggs and sausages. Lots of food (they refilled everything close to 9 am as it was somewhat depleted. Although 9 was cutoff time, the staff made sure anyone who wandered in close to that time would have the same full choice as those who arrived at 6. There is a great BBQ across the road called Bubbys. Movie theatre and mall stores just on the other side of I75. A great experience and I will use this Motel again.
The room was very clean, comfortable. The beds were great, We enjoyed our stay very much and we will go back there again. The breakfast was good. good location for restaurants and travelling. Grounds were very well kept.
I been staying here for the last 4 months and very pleased with this hotel everytime I come. The rooms are very nice and very clean. The staff always greet you with a warm greeting. They have warm comfy beds at night and warm breakfast in the morning.
We have stayed at this location for the past 4 years and have been very satisfied with this location such that we will return. Very clean, Great breakfast selection, close to local restaurants, clean rooms and comfy beds
This hotel offers comfort as well as good service with a staff that makes the stay even more desirable. Breakfast was satisfactory as to be expected. Location is desirable if you are travelling by car either North or South. Recommend it highly
i always stay here when i am in corbin, the staff is great, breakfast is wonderful, and the rooms are comfortable. the close by restaurants are great. i always look forward to my next stay at the best western in corbin.
On way home from Florida and looking for a good night's rest with a hot breakfast in the morning... BW Corbin met the bill. Easy interstate access, but far enough off to be quiet. Clean, comfortable rooms. Friendly desk & breakfast staff. Several places near by to grab a bite to eat.
Very nice updated and super clean place!!! If your thinking of staying her... You won't be sorry u did. The beds are comfy and the rooms are clean and 4 pillows to each bed!?? We ended up staying here do to snow on I75. Booked while on the road and room was waiting on me when I go here :) which going at 35 mph took forever!
On this trip it was very short but we got a lot finished. The bed was so comfortable my body just melted into the mattress. I slept very well, that's why I like staying here. I also enjoy the breakfast they have available for their guests.
Bet Western right off I75 in Corbin , close enough for easy off and on but far enough you cant hear the traffic. Great value stop for a night , very clean and comfortable rooms with a few restaurants with in a quick walk. We always stop here on the way home from the south , great staff , good breakfast and good rooms. They will even make you a breakfast to go if you are in a rush. They are currently upgrading and renovating our room had a walk in shower very nice. Cant wait to see the finished product
Room was very nice and staff was friendly and helpful . It is also convenient to the interstate and to drive to see Cumberland Falls!!! This hotel is a Best Western Plus which has been a very nice hotel each time we chose this chain. I do suggest that every room should be non-smoking because even though ours was non-smoking, we could smell smoke in the bathroom coming from another room!!! Breakfast was sufficient with a number of choices and good coffee. Dino's Italian Restaurant is very near, authentic, delicious, and huge portions! . (The owner uses his grandmother's recipes, and she lived in Italy.) I just hope the rooms all become NON-smoking.
This is a great newly renovated hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. My family and I always stop here on our way to visit family and we wouldn't even consider another hotel. The beds were soft and the showers were nice and hot with plenty of pressure. The main lobby and the rooms were clean and well decorated. The breakfast is hot and filling from waffles to sausage and egg biscuits. The location was not to far from the interstate and it was close to several restaurants.
This hotel is right of I-75 with plenty of restaurant choices. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean. The beds were squeaky, but not that big of a deal. The hotel was pet friendly and had a reasonable fee for pets.
Weeks ahead of my stay I reserved a NON-SMOKING room. I indicated that I would arrive after 8pm. I arrived at 8:07 after 12 hours on the road. The hotel was fully booked when I arrived and they had given away my NON-SMOKING room to someone who had not made a reservation. There was no where else to stay. I have asthma and am allergic to smoke. I also need a CPAP machine to breathe at night, and no I can not get the smoke smell out of this machine. At $1000 for the machine I can not just go out and buy another. We had to wash all our clothes when we got home and dry clean our coats. You can not get the smell of smoke out of things. The hotel staff should have given the smoking room to the people who walked in off the street that night and not taken my room. I also noticed the next morning a lady come out of one of the NON-SMOKING room smoking a cigarette. Best Western needs to have all NON-SMOKING rooms after all this is 2016. People can step out their room and smoke. Not like they are 30 floors up!
Made this reservation through Aeroplan Miles before we left for our Florida vacation. Usually we drive straight through from Florida to Ontario on our way home but then we feel awful for the week back to work so we decided to stay the night in Corbin. It is a little more than halfway so it splits the drive nicely. Check in was very quick. The hotel was completely full so glad we made a reservation. While the room was a little cold when we entered, it took only a few minutes to warm up when we put on the heat. Room has everything needed for a quick stop...fridge and microwave. Considering it is right next to highway, it was surprisingly quiet. Full hot breakfast in the morning....self serve, and it was all ready before 6 am so we were out of there in very good time. Check out was also quick. This hotel is nothing fancy but it is clean and comfortable if you are looking for a quick convenient sleep over spot.
The overall experience was very good. This was the first time to travel and stay at a hotel with our 65lb. English Coonhound rescue Lady Bug. She settled right in and was comfortable just like at home.
If you want to sleep don't stay here. Noisiest hotel/motel at which we ever stayed -- busy street very near, noisy AM staff, constant truck engine noise. Sleep was nearly impossible. Breakfast OK, nothing great. Eggs were pre-processed and warmed for serving. Cigarette odors permeated the office area in the morning. Go elsewhere!
the hotel was nice but what was most impressive was the front desk lady on the late sift I think her name was kari checked me then got me fresh coffee and made me feel rite at home .....will definitely will be staying there again.......
the breakfast it good. We had one problem though, that angered us. An employee's child was playing on the computer that was for adult guests. We did not know she was an employee's child until we saw here walk behind the counter. Even if the child is a guest here, the computer should not be used to entertain the child. The employees are not overly friendly. Stay here again, maybe?
If your looking to pay for a Best Western and get Days Inn then go there. Decor of the room was tack, breakfast room is too small for the little bit of food let alone any place to sit. The room had bright red chairs that were wore out. I had to sit on a bed to get at the desk because the chair would not fit at it. The lobby seemed more like a place for the staffs family to hang out while they worked. NO professionalism at all.
Great hotel, great staff, great facilities, enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was out early so we could get on the road again. Staff very helpful when I could not get the internet to work. Clean room, comfortable bed.
What a great place to stay to rest ones weary bones. Staff is so very friendly and the room is just like being home. With great cushioned chairs, refrigerator, microwave and a super comfortable bed you are set for a relaxing evening. Will stay here again. Great breakfast to get us started.
This is a nice property. The staff are EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. Everyone greeted you with a smile. The property is clean, the rooms spacious with refrigerator and microwave available. The shower had excellent pressure and constant temperature. Breakfast was nice with eggs, biscuits and gravy and sausage available. Also various muffins and bagels, yogurt, fresh fruit (apples and bananas) were provided. Juice, milk, coffee and cereal were also present. Internet connection was good and cable tv available. The only drawbacks were road noise on the front side, and the fact that the rooms opened to the parking lot (motel vs hotel); however I didn't feel unsafe. The doors were still equipped with chain locks rather than the metal latch found in many hotels.
it was nice good parking quit place too stay and clean too good place too eat. has a good pool safe place too walk around good staff on hand.good barbecue down the hill.awesome view.right off enter state 75
Good and friendly place to stay . Just off I75 in Corbin . Great value for a one night stay , good WiFi good breakfast that starts early 6:00 am if you want to get back on the road. Staff was friendly and the place was supper clean good access to restaurants and the City of Corbin all in all great value for the price
Stayed over night on way from Buffalo to Jacksonville. Booked through Hotwire at the last minute, and got a fair rate. The place is easy to find, clean and recently updated. It is however a MOTEL, not a Hotel, meaning the doors open to the parking lot. This needs to be more clearly identified, as if traveling alone I would not have felt safe. Thankfully my son was with me. The best part of the room was the shower head, and water pressure, which were absolutely outstanding. I have never had a better shower, than something you'd find in a trendy resort. My son even commented how great it was. Service was really friendly, and quick. Breakfast was fine, basic, and rather styrofoam, but typical.
Three things we love about stopping in Corbin, Kentucky...#1. The warm welcome and helpful staff at BW Corbin Inn. The rooms are lovely and I just can't say enough about the shower...lots of water pressure and a double shower head!!!!! Better than any spa! Just seconds from US75 and yet there is NO road noise. Really quiet for sleepy weary travellers. #2 Tammy, went out of her way to make our stay comfortable by offering snacks and juice due to low blood sugar issue I was experiencing. The staff always asks if there is anything they can do to make our stay more enjoyable. #3. Bubby's BBQ, almost shares a parking lot...awesome food and wonderful entertainment. We look forward to our return visit.
This was the first time I stayed in this property even though I go to the Barbourville area frequently. Because they accept pets, we decided to give it a try. Our stay was quite pleasant. The staff was polite, the room was comfortable and it is still very convenient to the College. I would recommend this hotel if you are in the area.
Room was clean and spacious. Nothing especially great or poor. WiFi in room was good so we could watch MLB Playoffs on a tablet since hotel didn't carry Fox Sports. Liquor store (beer/wine) across the parking lot. A couple of restaurants across the highway. Worked for us for a one night stay on a road trip. Staff was great.
Stayed three nights for the Jeep Jamboree, hotel entrance is well lit and well marked with lighted signs. Room was clean, hotel was quiet, everything was as expected for a pleasant stay! We would stay here again if we were back in the area.
Every time I travel to Michigan I always choose The Best Western in Corbin, Kentucky. I've been staying there once a year for at least about 11 years. It always very clean. The staff is always very professional and friendly, and very accommodating.
Staff was very helpful in making the arrangements for our company's work crew - close to the interstate and within reason to our construction area - clean rooms when crew returned each night - nice breakfast and thankful to have smoking rooms
I had a great night's sleep at this Best Western. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful during my stay. My pet was made welcome at a REASONABLE charge and we were both very comfortable. I would stay here again.
this place was very nice & clean,Enjoyed my 7 days here & everyone was nice to me,the rooms are very clean & the decor is very nice, the price was great & the rooms were quiet, the shower was great, love it & I will stop back & stay here
My wife and I stay here several times a year to visit family. The first time we stayed here it was nice but now the beds are worn and hard as a rock. The other furniture is also wearing out.(Recliner, desk chair)
As travelers from Michigan to Florida and back, we will definitely keep this Best Western in mind. Our room was very clean, the staff was very professional, and the internet service was great. I like the the breakfast we had the next day, upon our departure.
Clean as a whistle. Great beds, pleasing decor, pleasant staff , great deal. This is in the southern exit of Corbin. Off I-75. This is kind of like visiting the cousins that you really liked. She's gotten everything ready for you. And has gone the extra mile to make you feel welcome just in case you don't get along with other parts your family. She loves you. And she's giving you a fabulous bed.
The staff was very friendly and welcomed us home from our long vacation to the beach. It was great to back to KY!! I would recommend eating at the all you can eat BBQ Buffett next door to the Hotel. It was amazing. Check in and check out was a breeze. Breakfast was on the house. Thanks guys!!
this the second time we stopped here traveling to Ohio. great location right off interstate, couple gas stations, couple place to eat , got good BBQ right up the street, liquor store next door . The place is excepts pets is one main reason we stop here. Got same room as last year , clean ,good bed , looks safe ,open parking lot
