    « Nice hotel. »

Enjoyed staying here. Really nice, clean, new furniture, and free popcorn in the afternoon. Love that coffee is available all day and night. Convenient to restaurants and gas stations too. Reasonably priced. Thanks!

« Striking design, unexpectedly good »

If this were a downtown hotel rather than on "hotel row" off the highway, this would match many so-called boutique hotels. Strikingly designed exterior, comfortable rooms, attentive staff. Front desk crew deserves a special shout-out for remaining as friendly as they were during busy check-in, check-out. Breakfast was standard and tasty, but it's also an easy walk to a Waffle House. Because of its location, everything to do in Bowling Green is a drive away, but the hotel was part of a much better-than-expected visit to Western Kentucky.

« Intro for the Corvette Museum »

Very nice hotel, the decor is perfect for beginning of my corvette museum intro. The breakfast staff was very accommodating in making sure we were very satisfied with all items of the breakfast experience.

    « Good location for a stopover »

We stayed here as a family of 4 plus child for a 1-night stopover on route to northwest Florida. We had to change rooms shortly after check-in in due to an odd smell, but the 2nd room was clean, modern and provided all needed comforts for a restful night before another long day of driving. The included breakfast in the morning was great. If you are in the area and want something no frills but quality for a good price, I would recommend this location.

« Great but no screens on windows »

It was a very nice hotel and the staff was very friendly. My room was clean My only caution is that there are no screens on the windows which open very wide. I was on the third floor and felt that this was a safety hazard.

    « Nice Best Wetern »

I stay at Best Westerns a lot and was very impressed by this one. A large remodeled lobby that opened to a lounge area with large TV. I was greeted by two nice ladies who checked me and recognized by Diamond Elite level. Our room was very clean, remodeled and one of the best I have seen. I used the gym that is small but had new equipment in it with a large flat screen TV. Fairly typical hot breakfast for BW, although they switched from fried eggs one day to scambled the next and Bacon to Sausage.

    5
    « Excellant BW »

Very nice hotel, I was surprised it was not a BW Plus. Large modern lobby, lounge area, and breakfast room. The room was nice, large flat screen TV. Gym was not huge but all new machines. Breakfast was good, hot eggs, sausage/bacon, sausage gravy and biscuits.

« Clean it is NOT »

I was so surprised to see how our room did not rank up with the other reviews. We ordered in and I dropped something on floor so naturally went to clean it up. To my disgust the floor was so filthy my rag was entirely black. So to think you take shower, walk on floror to only bring the filth of others into my bed...yuck!,, Pictures attached, room 132.

« Comfort after a long motorcycle ride »

Had a long day of motorcycling and was tired. Found the hotel to be clean and neat looking upon arrival. Check in was quick and clerk was friendly. Room was very nice and very comfortable. Price was higher than other hotels in the vicinity but the BW was nicer in my opinion.

« Breakfast is best thing about this Best Western »

Breakfast is very good with a variety of hot and cold items. Especially liked waffles and muffins. Breakfast attendant was very attentive to customers and supply of food and drinks. Scrambled eggs baked in muffin tin were a bit different, but OK with salsa provided as condiment. Our room (207) faced the outdoor pool and courtyard close by I-65. Noise of I-65 traffic seemed to be amplified, maybe by walls of hotel on three sides of the courtyard. It was so loud my wife thought our room window was open. Only the hum of the running AC unit made it possible to go to sleep. The hotel or KDOT needs to install a sound barrier between I-65 and this hotel (and presumably the other hotels nearby). There were 3 of us in our room, but only one wash cloth provided. A call to the front desk revealed that the hotel had no more wash clothes. The front desk sent additional bath towels when we suggested hand towels as a replacement for the missing wash clothes. Oh, well. Overall the hotel appears to be new and clean, even if a bit stark in decor. The bathrooms are very small, less than a foot between the toilet and the shower in our case. The hotel is easy access off and back on I-65. Fixing the I-65 noise problem would push my rating up at least one notch.

« Best Western Motel West or East of Bowling Green, KY »

This B/W motel in Bowling Green, KY is our 1st choice every time we attend a National Corvette Museum event because it is always a great place to stay. Why?: clean rooms, helpful staff, good breakfast with quite a variety of items, close to the Cracker Barrel next door, easy on/off the Interstate, close to a good car wash(couple blocks to the east), and most times good pop corn in the lobby. The lobby is very comfortable and great for easy visiting with fellow travelers and/or Corvette folks.

    4
    « Overall, a Nice Surprise »

My wife and I stayed here three nights while in town for an event at the National Corvette Museum. We had never stayed in this hotel, but with our two usual choices already booked at the time we reserved, I decided to take a chance as the property looked nearly new. Bottom line, we were very pleasantly surprised. The Pro's: Easy check-in, except the young man at the front desk was a real talker. Hard to listen to when you've already driven 660 miles and your bladder is full (not for the entire 660 miles). Can't fault him for being friendly though. The lobby was nice, with free popcorn available for snacking. There was, however, an obviously missing TV on the wall. Wires, yes. TV, no. No harm though. The room was nicer than we expected and we received good housekeeping services throughout; a comfortable King bed and plenty of decent pillows; good HVAC system that was not loud or buzzy; small bathroom but an excellent shower with a Speakman showerhead and great pressure; a good-sized freestanding closet with enough hangers; a nice flat panel TV with plenty of channels (although some were not HD like at home); enough lighting that we didn't feel like we were staying in a cave; and a good small fridge and microwave oven. One other big plus was the quality of the breakfast. We were very impressed with the hot choices of eggs, sausage that actually tasted like real sausage, excellent bacon, potatoes, biscuits, and gravy (very much on the bland side though). It was clear that this BW puts a premium on good breakfast quality, and the hostesses did a fine job keeping things stocked. Our normal experience with hotel breakfast is to just skip it, but this one we ended up looking forward to. Nice job! As for the Con's, there weren't any, really. As other reviewers mentioned, the first-floor rooms are outside entry only, which also means that to get to the lobby or to the breakfast area, you have to walk outside. No big deal for us, but maybe a problem in the winter months. I paid a daily rate that I thought was very fair, so that checks the value box. Overall, a solid choice, and we would definitely consider a return to this BW for our next trip to Bowling Green.

    3
    « Disappointed »

This is a new hotel that needs to update their staff in order to have a GREAT hotel. Our room was not fully cleaned, the tile floor had not been swept or mopped as was evidenced by the popcorn on the floor. I was able to see fingerprints and smudges on the desk and the room only came with one washcloth. I was able to get more but the trip to the front desk had me waiting for the cleark to come back to the front desk.

    1
    « Disappointed »

We expected so much more from Best Western (BW). The tile floor in our room was dirty and when housekeeping came to mop it we were told it was the gray paint coming off the floor that looked like dirt and was on the bottom of our feet and socks. Whatever BW!...please get a new floor if that is the case. The fan on the cooler/heater had terrible rattle. We could hear highway traffic all night. I had gnats in my face when I was reading, several moths flew out of the furnace and there were roly-poly's on the floor. The shower head didn't work right. The TV was not an HD picture. The entrance and outdoor hall to our room was dark, scary, and cluttered with debris. There was no sidewalk from our front door to the lobby so you had to walk through the parking lot. The trash can outside had a door that was broken and had to be closed with 2 stones. The 1 star we gave the hotel was for the comfy bed and discount they staff gave us for the complaints noted above.

    3
« On our way home. »

Modern hotel but door didn't seal properly. It was like a wind tunnel and then the smoke alarm starts chirping at 1130pm. Smallish bathroom and for a change, this hotel actually has the spray for the waffle iron.

« Pleasant Surprise after a bad Best Western elsewhere »

I have to admit I was very skeptical and went in expecting issues after unpleasant stays at Best Western hotels in other locations elsewhere in the country, but I'm happy to say this one is thankfully nothing like them. The room was clean and quiet. The check in process was quick and efficient and even the breakfast was nice. The most pleasant surprise at breakfast was the availability of coconut milk so I could eat my cereal (I have a Milk allergy and do not care for Soy or Almond Milk).

    4
« Trip to the South »

This is a clean and quiet hotel right off I-65. The breakfast included waffles with various toppings such as chocolate syrup and whipped cream which my girls loved. It also had eggs, potatoes and sausages which were all good. A nice, clean, quiet place to stay.

    5
    « Excellent Value »

Very clean hotel, nicely remodeled, Beautiful blue, gray, and chrome interior. Big TV in lobby and big TVs in the rooms. Helpful and friendly staff. Even had a movie night with popcorn, reasonably priced hotel. Breakfast buffet had a lot of extras That You Don't See other places.

« Decent night sleep, average service »

We arrived late at night with reservations. Upon arrival, one of the front desk workers was joking around and also complaining about having to stay to work breakfast the next morning. The other worker tried to reassure her that it wouldn't be that bad. Then my husband got pulled into it when the other worker said to my husband, ?tell her it won't be that bad.? Not exactly professional - they probably thought they were being funny but was unnecessary for us to be part of it. Beds were ok. No express checkout so we were glad we stopped at the desk to drop keys off, etc. and get paperwork/receipt. No strong feelings on if we would stay here again or not when passing through.

« All you need when traveling »

Very nice experience, all you need when traveling with family. Late check-in, was quick and Michael at the front desk matched the travel website price that we have an issue to book through the app. Hotel is very comfortable, next to the highway, clean and cozy with pleasant breakfast served from 6:30-9:30 am. Highly recommending.

First time we have stayed at a Best Western. This facility was very nice and clean, and the staff were very professional and personable. No issues with our stay at all and we will definitely consider them more in the future.

« Great Stopover Stay! Highly Recommend!! »

My husband and I stayed at Best Western Bowling Green as a stopover driving from FL to WI. We booked this hotel through Expedia before we left for our trip and had no problems booking this way or once we arrived at the hotel. Our hotel room was a handicap with a king bed. We book a king bed through Expedia and upon arrival were told all they had left with a king bed was a handicap room. They said the only difference was no tub only a shower. This was not a problem for us at all. Our room was on the ground level by the pool and had an outside entrance, which we loved). The room was clean and was very trendy. It seemed very up-to-date. The in-room amenities were all that we needed (soap, shampoo, coffee, and cups). When it comes to hotel rooms we want CLEAN and it was. Our check-in and check-out were very easy. Jordan at check-in was very friendly and helpful. We didn't really need help with anything but he offered if we did and I witnesses him help others in a very friendly way. It was nice seeing someone happy to do their job for a change. One of the nices parts of Best Western Bowling Green was the continental breakfast. As far as continental breakfasts go it was amazing. It was clean and the staff working this area were extremely friendly and on point. They were constantly refilling food and keeping the area clean. The breakfast was huge. They offered waffles, toast, cereal, eggs, biscuits, grits, gravy, sausage and turkey sausage, fruit, pastries, bagels, yogurt, etc. It was all very nice and a great way to start off our long drive home. We ordered Pizza Hut while we stayed here and had no issues with it being delivered to the hotel either. Pizza Hut even brought us plates, napkins, cups, and straws. I would highly recommend Best Western Bowling Green and if I am ever in the area again I know where I am going to stay.

    « Will stay again »

We were on our way north for a family emergency. Booked the room at this hotel. Front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. Very nice. Truly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was good. Room clean. For the price , we will stay again.

    « Great stopover stay »

Kate at checkin made us feel very welcome. The room was nice but frig still had pass guest items and bathroom could have been cleaner. The breakfast was great with a good selection of hot and cold items and staff was very friendly.

    « Quick trip »

I was very impressed with my stay at this Best Western. Rooms were very clean and the continental breakfast was delicious. My favorite part of the motel was the Corvette decor they used! Thank you very much!

    5
    « Business »

Front Desk agent was very friendly and funny. Hotel has been updated. Rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was good. Hotel is right off the highway and easy to get to. Would definitely stay here again. Only downside was when I left for dinner, the traffic was backed up trying to make a left at the light. Not sure is that is normal for that time of day.

    « We'll be back! »

Spent back-to-back weekends here during holiday traveling. Every staff member we encountered was over-the-top pleasant, especially Mrs. Christy who was supervising the awesome breakfast area. Third floor was great, but I personally didn't care for the outdoor-access and no carpeting in room 133. (The only reason we ended up in that room was to be near our inlaws who requested a suite on the first floor.) Better-than-average breakfast selection. Terrific price. My only criticism was not being able to control the heat very well, but it was not problematic enough to mention it to any staff members. We stay in Bowling Green A LOT in our travels, and will definitely be back.

    5
« Everything looks brand new »

We did not ask but this place looks rather new. Very comfortable rooms and clean. Best deal you can get for the price. Well situated close to the I-65. We were impressed by the quality of every service received. Early workers are certainly disapointed with the fact that breakfast is only served at 6:30 in the morning. Company should reconsider.

    5
« New facility Great Price »

Stopped in our way down to Florida. Ideally located just off I65 . Most big chain restaurants were close by. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room were clean and the bed was most comfortable. The dining area had lots of seating and we loved the warm breakfast. Definitely would stay there again.

Stayed on a holiday weekend. Very helpful, professional and personable staff. Clean rooms. Great shower with plenty of hot water and water pressure, BREAKFAST was excellent -- food was ready on time and was hot. All areas were clean. Steakhouse was nearby for the evening meal

« Excellent new facility at a reasonable price »

Stopped over on our family trip. The facility and the rooms are updated and excellent. The continental and warm breakfast was also good. I would have no reservation in using this hotel again. Friendly staff and extremely reasonable pricing.

    « bw »

everything was not bad except late breakfast. It starts 6:30 during week days and 7:00 on weekends. No indoor pool. Internet speed was average. Cable tv was very bad. The coffee maker's coffee set was clean and good system.

« Best Western Bowling Green »

Nice stay. Great price. We have a small dog so we needed a pet friendly room. It was very nice. No odors at all. We like Best Western as they have pretty much the same standards everywhere. We can count on them for consistency.

« Best Western is our second home for Holiday Basketball Tournaments! »

Bullitt Central Boys Basketball Team had a great experience during their stay at Best Western in Bowling Green for the second year in a row. Staff was friendly and worked to make the stay great. Breakfast bar got our day off to a good start each morning. Hope to return again next year. Trista Moritz and all staff were excellent!

    2
    « Not what I expected »

Only outside entrances were available to,pet owners when I had stayed the night before in a wonderful spacious indoor/hall entrance Best Western. Had to change rooms to the other side of the building because of a broken door lock. Jordan helped us move our things because the thin, unstable 3-wheel luggage cart was difficult to use.

    5
« On our way to florida »

Late arriving and everything went well checking. In . Breakfast was one of best we have had. Food was hot and kept well stocked. Room was very clean and beds real comfortable.checkout was real simple and easy.

« Comfortable Beds and Awesome Breakfast »

Just needed a comfortable, inexpensive place to sleep for a few hours on our road trip south, and we were very pleased with this BW. Complimentary popcorn in the lobby when we checked in, even when it was midnight, and clean rooms with very comfortable beds. The only "complaint" was that the bathrooms were a bit small, but they were completely adequate for the quick shower we needed. The nicest surprise was the totally awesome breakfast the next morning. Wide variety, great tasting, and warm. We will return to this BW.

    5
« Very clean and affordable. »

Always a great stay with Best Westen. Service is always wonderful and the rooms are very clean. Whenever I travel I stay with Best Western or Best Western Plus. Very safe if you are traveling alone !!

« Great value, service, conveniene and cleanliess »

If you need an inexpensive place to stay this is a great choice. The staff is friendly and efficient. The hotel has been freshly updated. Breakfast buffet is has a good selection. Convenient location. Downsides: highway noise and drafty doors (only an issue if it's cold out)

« Best of the "Best" »

very clean,I mean very clean. Great staff. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The whole place was spotless. It's in a very good location, close to everything. The breakfast was good as well.

    « Best stay ever! »

The staff was helpful from check-in to breakfast to check-out. We would stay here again if ever in the area. The beds were great and the room was top notch. The omelette at breakfast was a great addition to the menu. Keep up the great work!

« Clean, friendly and inexpensive »

I was all set to give this place at 3 but my mom left her tablet in the lobby in the hotel called and told us immediately so they can afford. It's clean but not fancy that people are nice they have breakfast and coffee and tea and if you bring something to their attention that isn't quite right they'll fix it immediately. Good for an overnight stay

    5
    « Excellent Hotel »

My husband and I needed to stop for the night on a trip home from Ohio and chose this hotel for its low price. We were very surprised with how well maintained and clean this hotel was. Very clean updated room, staff was very friendly, bed comfortable, water hot and pressure was good, surrounding area clean and well lit. High value hotel for low price tag!

« Modern, Clean, Reasonable, Great Location, TopNotch Service »

I think my review title pretty well tells the story. Good management, new facility, located right on interstate 65 next to many good restaurants, Cracker Barrel is across the parking lot. I definitely will stay here again.

« Very Nice, Very clean and well maintained »

Travelling week of Thanksgiving, we stopped here. We arrived a little late to cover lots of miles, and allow mid-day arrival at our destination. Front desk clerk was outstanding, pleasant, cheery, and helpful. We thought hotel was month or two old because of how good it looks. Room comfortable and clean. After good night's sleep, breakfast was excellent. Good selection, and again, helpful and cheery staff manning the area. Morning desk clerk like the others - all consistently helpful and pleasant. Good place to stay. Will definitely consider does next time we're in the area.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. A friendly staff was available if needed. The hot breakfast buffet met our needs and saved us time seeking a restaurant. We enjoyed our stay, but did find the internet connection very slow. We would stay here again.

« Great family hotel in Bowling Green »

This is now our favorite hotel in Bowling Green. On check-in, our large family was warmly welcomed by Jordan, who went out of his way to deliver great service. He even had a movie night going, complete with popcorn! On check-out the next morning, Kay was equally friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was above-average. The hotel rooms are roomy and clean - with all the amenities we needed. We will definitely go back. Thank you, Jordan and Kay!

« Best Western Bowling Green, Kentucky »

The staff were above and beyond with professionalism, kindness, and accommodation!! It was an excellent stay. The appearance of the hotel and grounds is very attractive, as was my room. The dining area is extremely clean, and the food was plentiful. The front desk and sitting area are well maintained, and very attractive. This is a very quiet location, and the room is extremely comfortable!! The location is absolutely perfect!!! Bowling Green has so much to offer travelers and visitors will be very pleased with everything that this wonderful city has to offer. One may even begin to think of moving to town! I have no complaints, whatsoever! Should I give it a rating between 1-10, the rating would be a 10+

    « Worth every penny. »

We only needed a room for one night. All the room was well decorated and coffeemaker and mini fridge included. There was an odd smell but after a while it seemed to dissipate. Smell in Hallway mainly rooms fine.

    4
« Stayed Before, plan to stay again »

This was a King accessible room on what they call the quiet side of the hotel. We had stayed in their other King accessible room in the summer and since it was next to the pool it was noisier. However, the pool one might be quieter when the pool is closed since the parking lot is by these rooms. The room did have a door to the outside but you can't walk straight out of it to the parking lot since they have what looks like a metal weather/windbreak on the other side of the sidewalk. A sidewalk runs along the outside wall where all the room outside doors open to. You have to go to the left or right and go to the end of the weather break and there is a ramp and handicap parking at each end. So if you like the outside door to have a straight shot out to your car you won't get it but it is better than going through the lobby, etc. if you prefer the outside doors. Also, the weather break acts like a bit of a sound break too so it is a little quieter than ones that have a straight shot out to the parking lot. I have previously posted pictures of their pool side accessible room and this room looks the same and has the same problems I saw in that room. You can see that review for more data but the big problem I have with their rooms is that although they did hard surface on part of the floor they did carpet around the bed and out from the bed some. They then put a rubber transition strip from the hard surface to the carpet that a wheelchair has to roll/bump over. My chair would always get stuck on the transitions and the it would take a little effort to get over them. It is still better than carpet in the entire room though. The do have the wheel in shower, with another bump.(Check pictures on previous review. They do provide a shower seat.

    « Fool me twice! »

I made a reservation for two rooms for our family as a midway stop on our way to the Gulf Shores (16 hour drive). After reading reviews, I requested on phone and in writing for our reservation that we stay facing away from the freeway due to noise. I also requested that we be placed together as we are a family with teens. When we checked in, none of our requests were respected, or even looked at. We spoke with the Manager, Kay, who promised if we gave the hotel a chance for our return trip that she would make sure we had a great experience. Lo and behold....a week later, after both calling and also putting our request in writing, giving Kay's name even, we checked in, on two separate floors, and still facing the freeway. The staff seemed nice, hotel adequate, breakfast area nice, just unable to respect a request or stand by their word. Moral of this story. If you think it can't get worse...try again, it will.

    « A real gem of a find! »

Wow! I have worked in high end hotels for most of my life and I was amazed at the level of service and cleanliness in this little gem. Every guest is given a mini tour of where everything is, i.e., breakfast room, living room (nicely appointed with a large screen TV and comfy chairs and couches) and then guided to your room. The staff was amazingly helpful and professional. The young man, especially so. We were there the night of November 9 if you could give him a shout out. The entire hotel was absolutely spotless. Unfortunately I wasn't able to sample the complimentary breakfast as I had to leave too early but based on everything else I'll bet it was great! Nice job Best Western. You know how to pull in your guests! Outstanding guest services.

Very clean and modern building. Located close to Restaurant's and other important conveniences. Breakfast was amazing and staff was on the ball. The bathroom was cramped but functional. Plan on staying there again if the opportunity arises.

    « Beautiful Hotel »

Definitely an amazing price, for a quick stay. Beautiful rooms, very clean. The bed was a little firm and the pillows were quite fluffy, didn't sleep that great, but great ambiance and a very filling breakfast is offered. Right in the middle of restaurants, where there is something for everyone.

Clean rooms, great beds, excellent staff. The breakfast was delicious as well. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. This was my second stay and I will definitely stay there again when visiting Bowling Green.

This hotel was very modern and the beds were comfortable. It was only 30 min from Mammoth Caves and also a very short drive to Bowling Green. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was warm and tasty.

« Adaquate But Not Top Shelf »

As a result of late planning my usual hotel choices were booked for this weekend visit. Like many I checked out their reviews right here on TripAdvisor. The place looked familiar but I just couldn't remember it. Turns out it was formerly a Clarion property that was across the street from a hotel I often stay at. After multiple viewings of reviews I decided to book. Yes the rate was reasonable compared to my usual choices in Bowling Green. In a way that concerned me. Upon arrival the first thing I noticed upon entering the lobby was the distinct musty smell. I even asked the clerk if the place had ever been flooded. In all fairness after a day it was not as noticeable and I assume the staff were around so much it didn't stand out to them. My suggestion is to invest the small price and install some automatic air fresheners for new arriving guests. As we were early arriving, 1 PM, the only rooms ready for occupancy were rooms facing the interstate. Another thing I noticed as an issue for many reviewers was the noise on that side. The clerk was happy to let us go view the rooms and we decided to take the interstate facing rooms. The noise didn't seem to be excessive during our walk through. Both rooms were very nice and as presented in their hotel information. Although the musty smell was found in both rooms as well the hallway. We eventually cured that with multiple candles. Then later in the evening around bedtime the noise of the traffic was so bad that the only way I could sleep was to place a pillow over my head. In fairness to the hotel my father had no issues with the noise in his room right beside me. It boils down to if you are a light sleeper then stay away from the rooms facing the interstate. The breakfast setup was vey well presented and attended to. In conclusion I will say that the hotel met my expectations and the staff was very proficient. If you plan on staying just bring candles and or air freshener. And by all means if you are a light sleeper don't get a room facing I65.

    « Best BW yet »

I stay at several BW when I travel and this one by far is the best I've stayed at. Clean rooms and lobby. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast and wifi. Easy to get to and restaurants in walking distance.

    « Nice Hotel »

Our experience at this hotel was very good. Each of the staff we encountered was friendly and helpful. Even with a disgruntled guest ahead of me at checkout, the clerk remained poised and courteous. I was impressed by her handling of that situation as well as the next guests. Some would have complained to the next people in line, but not this young lady. Kudos to her and to this hotel!

« Another great Best Western experience »

Very clean, quiet, and comfortable hotel. Great experience with sales manager who was filling in at front desk. Would not advise taking the room over the front door as it opens and shuts all night long

    « One Night Stay »

We stopped in, late at night, looking for occupancy. The front desk was very friendly. We had a room with 2 queen beds. The room was very clean. We noticed a musty odor when we came in but room was clean. The bathroom area is very small. We would stay here again. Breakfast was good. The staff kept all the food filled. The breakfast area was clean & well maintained. Many choices: eggs, biscuits/gravy/waffles & much more. For the price, I feel like we got a decent room.

    « Don't even look anywhere else »

Beautiful hotel, remodeled and Jordan at the front desk was very helpful. Obviously took great pride in his job and in the hotel itself. Very reasonably priced in comparison to the other local hotels and much nicer!

The hotel was newly finished and they were very good in choosing the staff. The staff were very helpful to all the guests in the wedding party. They helped us find places to check out during our stay, the morning meal was great and the snack in the afternoon was great.

« Really liked this place! »

A very nice place to stay with convenient restaurants in the area. Jordan, the night manager, was a standout. He had recent movies available and showed them on the big screen TV in the lobby area with popcorn. Very enthusiastic guy who is customer oriented. Room was very nice and the bed was super. Breakfast buffet was a cut above.

Nice place! We enjoyed the breakfast, and the helpful staff. It's was so nice to relax here after visiting the Corvette Museum, Shaker Village and electronic gaming facility. It would have been great to spend at least one more night here and go to Churchill Downs. We'd like to come back and stay again and see more sights!

« The only hotel we have ever left early »

We went to stay at this Best Western tonight (9/29) as a one night stay on our way to Nashville. Based on all the other reviews we thought this property would certainly meet our needs-primarily that of being clean. First issue arose when we were given a room with first floor outdoor access: I thought this was peculiar given that this isn't a motel but a hotel, but we went in to get settled. The outdoor access became an issue when the smell of smokers cigarettes started constantly coming into the room even after asking the front desk if they could do something about the cigarette butt disposal near our door. Then when we started looking around the room that's when we finally packed up to leave. Multiple instances of hair or other something not cleaned by cleaning staff, mystery brown splatters all over the walls, and brown smears on the floors. To say I was disgusted was an understatement. I'm not entirely sure what happened as all the other reviews seem so positive but we went back to the front desk and informed them we were leaving. I give 100% of our thanks to Jordan for viewing the room with us to see our concerns and noting them, however there's pretty much no chance we'll be trying a Best Western again after this experience. I also want to add that the room was dungeon-like dark from the charcoal grey paint-it was hard to even take my makeup off, so I'd advise management to consider overhead lighting and/or repainting to manage this. Thankfully another local hotel had room for us and we are comfortably resting in a clean room as I type. This was the only hotel my husband and I have ever left early in the 10 years we've been together.

Spent one-night at this Best Western and was better than expected. Hotel appeared to have been recently renovated and was quite nice. The beds were the best! Best part was Jordan on the desk. « BW Bowling Green not awesome »

I stayed 4 nights. Had several issues. Card keys for my 3 rooms had to be replaced almost every time we left our rooms. Ridiculous!! Towels smell musty. Bath tub was very slick. I fell and injured my hip. There was evidence of other people slipping as the shower curtain rod was pulled down and loose.

« Best Western -- Good Quality at Reasonable Prices »

We spent a short overnight recently at the Best Western in Bowling Green and enjoyed our stay. Other reviews here mentioned musty rooms and we found ours musty on entry, too. We turned the a/c way down cold and as the air dried out, it was better. Of course, that meant we needed the blankets to sleep in the air a little cooler than we would have picked. Unfortunately -- no fault of the hotel -- there was a widespread power outage for around two hours just when we had planned to have an early breakfast and depart. (Probably this was due to weather, as there had been heavy rains for several days.) Although this wasn't their fault this did mess with our plans. We had planned to eat very early and get on our way; with the power outage we figured we'd better depart even an hour earlier and stop for breakfast on down the road. So we packed in an entirely dark room by the light off our cell phone. Once we got into the hallway we found the emergency lighting more than adequate and had no trouble getting to the stairs and outside. After loading the car we made our way to the lobby, unsure exactly how we were going to check out -- and then the lights came on. (There had been no electricity for two hours.) The desk manager graciously allowed us to take some pastries and coffee in the car with us, but we elected not to wait until the full breakfast was set out.

« Excellent Stay at Bowling Green Best Western »

We had an excellent stay at the Bowling Green Best Western. The new hotel (or at least it looked that way- it was so clean and modern!) We stayed one night here but would definitely liked to have stayed longer. The hotel and our room were very clean, breakfast was delicious and fully stocked for the full hotel. The outdoor pool and nightly movie were a hit with my family! Kudos!

« Nice facilities! Spent week at NCM and all the informative meetings associated with that. »

I loved this hotel. Staff was courteous, rooms were comfortable. The only problem I had was the beds were up high and had to ask for a step stool. Which they had. Problem solved!! Be sure to have Mary's scones in the breakfast area. She is the hostess with the mostes:)

    « BW - Bowling Green »

The hotel is beautiful from the outside and the lobby is very nice. But our room was EXTREMELY dark!! All the walls are painted a dark gray and, except for the sink and bathroom, the light has a hard time overcoming it. The bathroom is divided with the toilet and shower separated by a door from the sink, making the toiler/shower area miniscule and claustrophobic. The beds were relatively comfy. Breakfast was okay.

    5
« Nice place to stay »

Staff very nice, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Will stay again when we are in the area. Wish I would of found this hotel sooner been staying at another hotel not anymore. Would be nice if breakfast was at 6:00 AM on the weekends instead of 7:00 AM.

    3
    « Pros and Cons... »

We stayed here two different times. During both, the front desk staff could not have been nicer or more friendly. The breakfast was above average and the hotel appears newly decorated and the beds were comfortable. Couple things I didn't care for...despite having a prior reservation requesting a quiet room, we got stuck next to the highway and it is loud, even with the AC on all night. So if you're a light sleeper, arrive early and ask for the side away from the highway. Good water pressure, so the toilets sound like jet planes when flushed. Once again, if you're a light sleeper, ask for the top floor. And a pet peeve...please install toilet seats that are big enough to cover the actual toilet bowl. Most women do not like sliding around on a cheap plastic seat, only to end up half on the bowl itself. If we're in the area, would not hesitate to stay again though, toilet seat and all.

    « Excellent stay »

We stayed on our way to view the eclipse. The hotel was full. Staff were friendly, helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. All amenities we needed were there. Beds are pillow top. Microwave and fridge in room, also iron and hair dryer provided. Breakfast was amazing! So many choices, and well stocked, even with such a large crowd. There is a nice dining area available to sit for breakfast.

« Clean Room. Staff Great. Design issues. »

The rooms were comfy, beds comfortable, and breakfast included sausage and eggs. The staff went out of their way to return a nice white shirt I had left there because it blended into the sheets on the bed when I was gathering my things. Very appreciative of their efforts. Some of the design features were not well thought out: All the first floor rooms are only accessible from outside but there is no sidewalk around the building. So once I unloaded my bags onto the dolly, I ended up having to truck them around the cars parked along the side of the building to get to my room. From my room, I had to go through two card-keyed doors to get to the pool. The card-readers were disabled on both doors which would allow an intruder to access the second floor rooms without going through the lobby after hours.

    « all good »

when we arrived the out side was clean with plenty of parking. Check in was fast, with the desk clerk being friendly and helpful. The room was clean, very comfortable bed and pillows. The shower had good water pressure and was clean. Breakfast was good with plenty of food. Breakfast room was clean and well kept. .

    « Positive experience »

Overall, this is a very good value for the price with a nicely updated décor and a number of nice amenities. The rooms are nice although quite small and for the most part, was clean. If you're passing through and need a good place to stay, this would meet the criteria very well ..

    « Quick Trip »

Looked for a hotel in the Bowling Green area for one night while dropping my daughter off at college. The price was in the normal range for the area. The outside appearance was very good as was the lobby area. Our room had a muggy high humidity feel but it was very hot outside. The only thing I didn't like was not having a vent fan in the bathroom. This added to the humid feel. The staff was great. I would recommend this hotel for others.

    2
    « Strong smoke odor in a non-smoking hotel »

Even though this was a remodeled hotel, our room had a very strong smoke order. The air-conditioner didn't work well either, so all of us had a terrible sleep all night. The room was tiny and the price paid was well above what it was actually worth. Will not stay there again.

    3
« Ok. Our room needed.... »

Let me say this is not the worse hotel I have stayed at,but needs better bathroom ventilation. Our room smelled musty. Except that our room was comfy. The bed was firm but not like sleeping on a board. The breakfast was delicious. They had make yourself mini waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, seasoned potatoes, and other breakfast items.

Clean, modern, friendly. Would stay again. If you're road weary and looking for a sleek, well-kept place to stay and a really good hot breakfast in the morning, check in here. I was actually impressed at first because the rooms looked exactly like the photos online - polished and offering all the basic amenities you'd want after a long day of travel. Would recommend.

« Back to school stay »

This was our first visit to this Best Western hotel and it met all our needs. I believe this is a renovated property from another chain and they did an outstanding job. I thought the decor was updated and modern and it was very clean and comfortable. We had some party kids across the hall playing their tunes and going in and out of the room but we didn't hear them once inside so we got a great nights sleep. Great outdoor pool! Very pleasant and helpful staff. I would stay here again! One thing to note though, there is a feature that we thought was cool but would not be good for everyone: the beds are a little higher than average. My mom is older and might have had a little difficulty. We liked it though!!! Very comfortable!!

    4
    « 2 night stay ok »

This hotel is in a safe area. The breakfast bar is great. Nice staff. Price is comparable and competitive with other hotels around it. Pool area is clean. However, like other travelers have stated -the king rooms are not carpeted and the floors will make your feet or socks dirty. The access is directly to parking lot or back area with the pool and highway traffic. So if you think those things will bother you- ask for a room on 2nd or 3rd floor. But for the price, friendly staff and overall - I would choose this hotel again.

    5
    « Great overnight stay »

We stayed for one night and it is a very nice place to stay. Access from the Interstate was convenient, the hotel has a very nice curb appeal, the lobby was busy but the staff member waited on us as soon as he could. Even though our room faced the interstate, we did not have any issues with traffic noise. If we are ever in Bowling Green KY again we will stay at this Best Western:)

    4
    « One night stay »

The breakfast that was offered was pretty skimpy, (lacking any chafing dishes of hot food) but the room was neat clean and comfortable. Service was quick and efficient. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly.

« Good place to stay »

We stayed 1 night. Clean and an okay breakfast. Breakfast was your normal BW complementary yogurt, beagles, waffle machine, etc. The hotel is either new or newly remodeled. It is easy to locate right off the interstate. We visited the Corvette Museum the next day. Cracker Barrel is next door. They have a little bridge to get there.

    « Great service! »

We stayed two nights to visit mammoth cave. The first night didn't go so well since we found a spider in our bed. However, the front desk staff bent over backwards to ensure our comfort. Gave us a different room that was clean and by the pool on the first floor, a pack and play for the baby, and only charged us for one night. The hotel is updated and generally clean, pool is nice and clean, breakfast was decent. The staff and customer service is what saved my review from being lower due to the spider in the bed. Really, spiders can be anywhere and that's not always something you can control, but nobody likes that thought when trying to sleep at night. But the fact that everything from that point on due to the staff was great made it much better.

    « Give this a try! »

I haven't stayed at a Best Western in years and honestly, before this, I didn't have a good impression of them. This Best Western totally changed my mind! We had a wonderful, clean room. My kids loved playing in the outdoor pool. The extras were so nice- popcorn in the lobby and more! Staff were friendly...genuinely friendly. The breakfast was delicious and better than a typical hotel breakfast buffet. The potatoes were crispy!! I would definitely stay here again!

    « Best Hotel! »

I read all the reviews before booking so I knew exactly what I was getting and I was not let down! The room was clean and the beds were super comfy! If Kay, Sam, Mary or Ronnie ever leave, you all are sunk. They are top notch employees who go above and beyond and deserve raises! The pool was inviting and clean, the breakfast was yummy with so many great choices and, I loved the coffee station in the lobby and my little boy loved the free, fresh popcorn everyday! We played board games in the cafe area late afternoon one day, they made fresh popcorn just for us! The bathrooms are extremely tiny and the carpets could use a good deep cleaning, but you will not go wrong reserving this hotel.

« Great value for the price »

« Not worth the price, stay somewhere else »

The room smelled like chlorine. There was a used towel in the bathroom and a used wristband on the floor. The floor made our socks black. You could hear toilets flush from surrounding rooms. Noise from the parking lot was terrible, the other side of the hotel faces 65 so that would not be good either. The only positive things were the bed and breakfast, only wish I would have had the opportunity to actually get some sleep on the bed through the noise and smell. Upon checkout I was told by the assistant manager that they are having issues with the 1st floor rooms. Why was I not told that at check in? Why are the rates the same for the 1st floor as the rest of the hotel if there are known issues? I was offered 500 points for my troubles but I won't be staying there again. There are lots of hotels in the same area. This hotel is not worth the money, stay somewhere else.

    « BW Bowling Green »

Great hotel if you are traveling with pets. Easy outdoor access also has a pet area (con could be fenced in) with bags for easy clean up of your dog's mess. Rooms has little carpeting, so easy clean ups if you have an accidental mess.

    5
« Nice hotel for good value »

Best Western has really improved over the past few years. The rooms and furniture were in great shape, and I enjoyed my stay. I did not take advantage of the pool, but it looked very nice as well. I loved that this hotel was within walking distance to a couple restaurants. Even though the rate was a little more than I typically pay for a business overnighter (I may need to take advantage of AAA discount) I will most likely seek out a Best Western in the future.

    5
« Overnight in Bowling Green »

Picked this hotel off booking.com. New hotel, great rooms and a great breakfast too. A true value. Close to I65. Ask for a room that doesn't face the interstate highway. Use bed closest to the wall- ac blows under sheets on outside bed!

It appeared that construction dust/dirt never was cleaned up in the tiny, I said tiny bathroom. The shower mechanism was a new one for me and required someone from the front desk to turn on, Sam at the front desk was very helpful and resolved our issues.

We stayed here on an unexpected trip from Indianapolis to Clearwater. My mother in law was very sick. We stopped here on purpose due to a previous stay. The rooms are clean, and totally comfortable and our fur baby is always welcome. Thank you for making a difficult time a littler easier to handle!

    « A perfect 10! »

This is a beautiful, modern, welcoming hotel. It looks brand new. Ir is absolutely bright, shining clean! The room is ultra modern and beautifully decorated. It has a fridge, microwave and many extras. Plenty of places to charge your phone. The beds are big and so comfy. Big TV, wonderful air conditioning, nice desk area, lots of mirrors and storage. We enjoyed the pristine outdoor pool. Our room was steps away. Perfect for after a day of siteseeing. There is also a patio area on the property where you can relax. The lobby area is so nice. They have free popcorn and coffee. Their breakfast is amazing. So many extras like cheese and salsa for eggs and toppings for waffles like chocolate chips and whipped cream. Some of their offerings : eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, waffles, bagels, cereals, many kinds of yogurt, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruits. They also have grab and go bags. Nice TV's in breakfast area and booths for sitting. I've never seen anything like it! There is a great work area with a printer and 2 big screens. The workout room is impressive. We are staying here because it is pet friendly. There is a huge area to walk your dog. If you don't have a pet you should still stay here! Super clean, so many extras, beautiful rooms, good location as you are close to restaurants and attractions. I want to come back to Bowling Green just to stay here again!

We used this place for a 2 night business trip in late June. Haven't stayed at a BW is many years, but this place was nice. Clean place and well appointed, if your trip is short, and a sleep/shower and go on about your day is the thing, this is a great option.

« Very Nice and Comfortable »

Stayed there on a vacation trip. This hotel has been completely remodeled and is very attractive. The lobby smelled amazing with the popcorn having just been made by the new popcorn machine. Our room was completely clean and well appointed. A little on the small side, but plenty of room. Upon check in the clerk pointed out the breakfast room and proudly said they had the best breakfast around. I thought to myself it was so much hype. Boy was I wrong. It was one of the best I've ever had at a hotel! Mary, the breakfast lady took great pride in making sure everything was perfect. She even came over and genuinely asked if everything was okay, she even wanted to know if she could get us a newspaper and got one. On a side note I accidentally left my electric razor in the room when we left. Kay, the Manager called me and I was too far away to turn around. She actually went to FedEx after she got off work and shipped it back to me. Now that's service! Their Southern Hospitality was terrific! I can't say enough good things about this place. Thanks Kay, thanks Mary!

A quick stop over while traveling. Quick reservations online. Great service when we arrived. The room was ready and clean within 4 hours notice. There was a wide variety for breakfast. Decent price on short notice.

« I insist on clean and safe »

Confirming my reservation I informed them I had asthma and it was very important room and air conditioner were clean. Air conditioner made and sound like fan wasn't working properly and it wasn't calling room properly. Very dusty on top of closet and after a few minutes of walking barefoot in room, my feet were black. At the recommendation of staff I put a washcloth in tub drain so I could take a bath. They did not have another room for us to trade. They did not even write down problems when we checked out.

Great Hotel, good breakfast, very convenient for travel, right off of the interstate, Staff very friendly and accommodating. Good restaurants near by. A special thank you to the sales rep, or Manager (sorry not sure which) she was very nice we had some car trouble and she offered her assistance if we couldnt get it fixed ourselves. We enjoyed ourselves so much we will try to book with them for other shows and are going to stay with them again next year. best western will be the first place to look for availability when we are booking for other vacations. I hope all of your hotels are as good as this one. My only dislike it how small the bathroom is but it is a very small dislike.

We stayed here after a 14 hour drive just to rest our heads before heading to mammoth cave national park. Reopen was fine, bathroom set up was weird and cramped. Breakfast was simple nothing special. They don't have any gluten free breakfast options but when asked they brought out a gluten free granola bar and some trail mix. I appreciated the effort as many places won't even offer that.

Our stay was really enjoyable, the room, the breakfast, the swimming pool, and all the staff was really good. The appearance and cleanliness were extremely nice. We would come back again and would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. Kay, Sam, and Mary were as good as they come.

    « Great Stay »

This has been by far my favorite BW yet! I was clean and well maintained. Only concern I had the whole time was that the bathtub floor was super slick; both my husband and myself nearly fell getting in. We didn't have the breakfast because I had a craving for Cracker Barrel's hash brown casserole and there was one next door.

Nice newer clean hotel. Rooms adequate in size but bathroom is very tight. Clean rooms and hotel. Carpets in room could be a little cleaner. Didn't use any facilities. Good breakfast with eggs, meats, pastries, waffles, cereal, yogurts, etc. Always fully stocked and pleasant staff during all interactions.

    « Great place »

3 stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed our stay. Rooms are nice and everything is comfortable. The only issue we had was the bathroom is tiny. We didn't swim in the pool, but were over it on third floor and the pool activity didn't keep us from sleeping. This hotel is close to everything. You don't need to leave for breakfast because they serve a great breakfast here!, If you are in a hurry you can get a sack breakfast with an apple, cereal bar and water. We would return here.

« Nice Hotel with Friendly Staff »

My wife and I stayed here for one night while traveling. The hotel is right off of I-65. There are numerous restaurants nearby, a few that you can walk to safely and a few more that you could walk to, but without sidewalks and having to walk along a busy street over I-65, it is probably better to drive to those on the other side of I-65. While I reserved a king studio room, I was informed upon arrival that these rooms were all on the first floor and had frequent pets in the room. Therefore, we opted to take a double queen room that was pet free! This room had a mini-fridge, microwave and small coffee maker. There was a desk with outlets on the desk top. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the blackout curtains worked well. This is good since the light in the parking light was very bright (good for parking lot safety). The bathroom, with toilet and bathtub/shower was very small. In fact you needed to make sure to close the door before sitting on the toilet, or you couldn't get the door closed. There was a separate sink area just outside the bathroom. We liked the fact that the bathroom lights were around the corner from the bed. The breakfast in the morning was pretty good. We found it interesting that the milk was in gallon jugs while the cream was in small containers that needed to be opened to use. Why don't they just get a quart of Half & Half or cream? There seemed to be ample seating in the breakfast area and it was comfortable.

We were very pleased with this hotel - lovely room, super friendly staff, and a beautiful town to explore. They are pet-friendly, and our dog gave the room two paws up. (In case you forget bags, they have a designated pet area and even provide bags for the poop.)

« It could have been 5 stars. »

Great accommodation in a good location. I will leave my review and say at the end why I couldn't give five stars. On arrival a warm, friendly welcome by I believe the manager and a guy called Chris. Check in easy however we quickly discovered that our king room was facing the I-65. So we asked if we could change rooms this was done and we were given a twin room number 321 on the third floor which seemed perfect until we tried to go to sleep later that night, which was impossible which we can only put down to the noise from the rumbling incessant sound above us, being the air conditioning unit on the roof of the hotel. At 11.30pm we went down to reception and Chris was more than helpful in allocating another room on the third floor still. So we changed rooms and got a great nights sleep during our three nights stay. Tip request a room at the front of the hotel, facing Mel Browning Street. Would imagine that this Best Western has not long been refurbished. The hotel is immaculately clean throughout. Chris very friendly each time we either went out or came back to the hotel. The breakfast area very nice with a good selection offered, which was kept well stocked by Mary the breakfast hostess, Mary couldn't do enough for any of the guests at breakfast time. This BW is very good and we have stayed at many over a number of years when visiting the USA on our road trips. The reason I cannot give 5 stars is that there are blankets on the bed - this is far from being hygienic as there is no way that they would be laundered after each guest stay this is such a big no no, I find it so unacceptable but that's my personal opinion.

    « A Good Stay »

A good hotel, the room was nice, clean, up to date. The tv channel selection was very good, however a few channels were a bit fuzzy. My only complaint would be the the shower. The shower head itself seemed very old, limited sprays and a "normal" spray was not an option. As well they need to do some work with the drains. The tub drain seemed partially plugged. Approx halfway through my showers I'd find myself standing in an inch or more of water. The drain couldn't keep up with the shower. Only a couple of the staff I encountered seemed happy, a woman who was one of the front desk people and the woman looking after the complimentary breakfast. The others didn't come across as happy at all. Location is good, I might there again.

    « Nothing special »

My mother, myself, and 2 children stayed one night. The hotel staff seemed friendly enough. Free breakfast was delicious. The room was clean. The bathroom was super small. You can also hear everything going on in every room as you walk down the hall. Do not expect privacy. When my daughter was in the bathroom the light fixture fell and hit her on the head. Thankfully, it was plastic. When we told the hotel staff, they just said nothing. So the experience was ruined. I would not stay again. I would not recommend this hotel. If you are bigger than a toothpick good luck getting the bathroom door to shut.

« Looks nice in pictures, but it's not nice in the rooms »

This hotel was recently updated and therefore looks nice in the photos, but it is dark, dingy, and dirty. The floor was sticky all throughout our room. We didn't go anywhere without shoes on. It is old, bathroom is so small you can barely shut the door. We will not be back.

« One of the best hotels we have stayed in. »

The ONLY "negative" thing I can say is that there were a few crumbs on the floor next to our bed. After that, everything about this hotel is excellent and top notch! Very clean, everything in working order. The grounds are kept up, and the rooms were great. The breakfast bar was one of the best we ever had, and we ate there all three days. The entire staff, from the front desk clerks to the maintenance people were super friendly and courteous. Especially Mary during breakfast and Kay at the front desk. We got a discount rate on-line because we stayed more than one night. Although this hotel is not right in the city of Bowling Green, it is only about 15 minutes to downtown, and there are restaurants, gas stations, and shopping within a two minute drive. We have not stayed at a Best Western in over a decade, but this motel is now our first choice when in the Bowling Green area. A toyally wonderful experience!

« Nice clean hotel, friendly staff »

This was an our rest stop for the night. It is a nice clean modern building. We didn't take advantage of any of the amenities or the free breakfast as we were back on the road by 6am. The beds were amazing, which was a plus after 8 hours of driving. The downside to the room is the bathroom. While I appreciate that they want to try and maximize room space, do not skimp on the bathroom. The door barely clears the toilet, making it awkward. The desk staff were very friendly and helpful

    5
    « Wonderful »

« Great Pet-Friendly Hotel - One of the Best! »

The blonde haired manager checked us in. Even though she had a line-up of people waiting to check in she took her time and maintained her kind, polite demeanor. They also had free popcorn for guests! We had a pet friendly room and we really appreciated that the room opened up to the outside and that we didn't have to make other guests uncomfortable when we walked our dog. On top of it, the walking area was right outside our door. Details like this make great stays outstanding. We really appreciated this hotel and would gladly stay there again. Keep up the great work.

    « VERY Nice... »

Someone invested a LOT of money in this relatively new Best Western Plus. Nice, clean, modern building. Fast check-in, friendly staff. Nice, clean, comfortable room. Comfortable bed, chairs etc. Livable rate...under $100 mid-week. Well lit, nice secure area of town, convenient parking. Typical Best Western hot breakfast. All good. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

    « Wow and Humm »

Well I should start by saying that we normally stay at higher end hotels. We decided to give this Best Western a go, based on reviews and price. There are a lot of positives and few negatives. On the pro list: The whole place looks nice and updated. Lobby area is well laid out with large gathering area with TV. There are 2 nice business stations with computers. Free popcorn. Included breakfast was good and hot. Staff was very nice and out of the way friendly. In the room, the bed was very comfortable. Nice TV. Bath sink and mirror updated and very nice. Price is good. Ok - the con: This was a 1st floor, handicap accessible room. The floors are all tile. In the bed area the tile didn't feel right. Probably wasn't dirty, but just didn't have that warm feel you get from carpet. If the other, standard rooms, are carpeted, no issue. It was a walk-in shower and my better half slipped and almost fell, just walking into the shower. So, good value, minor picky complaint.

    « Excellent choice! »

« Could have been a whole lot better »

Hotel was overbooked and they had given our room away by the time we arrived. The front desk staff did a great job accommodating us but it we had to change rooms the next day, which was quite inconvenient. We were then given a room where the wifi did not work during the remainder of our stay. The staff tried to help but they couldn't fix it and there weren't any rooms left to move us to.

« Kay to the rescue »

My boyfriend and I were traveling home to Illinois through Kentucky and, due to the stellar reviews on TripAdvisor, decided to stay at the Best Western in Bowling Green overnight. However, I accidentally booked us for the wrong night through Hotels.com. I called Hotels.com to switch my reservation to that night, which was a nightmare. Kay, the assistant manager at Beat Western, told me this had happened before with another customer and told me to tell Hotels.com that it's okay with Best Western to switch the reservations, no questions, no fees and for the same price. She then got on the phone with Hotels.com herself and made them stay on the phone until the transaction was completed. Kay also switched our room, which she told my boyfriend and I was "on the noisy side of the hotel, by the interstate" and put us in a room with two queen beds on the opposite side of the hotel, no charge and absolutely no hassles! Our stop could have been a nightmare if not for Kay. Everything was said and done and my boyfriend and I were settled in our room 15 minutes after walking in the main doors of the hotel. Rooms were sparkling clean, beds comfortable and a surprisingly (or maybe not) really good continental breakfast topped off our visit. Thanks to Kay and Best Western for a great stop on our road trip home. :)

« Rooms on the first floor are noisy »

We selected this hotel because of the price and location near the cave that we wanted to visit. This exit off I-65 is filled with hotels and restaurants. We arrived there around 8-9pm after a long drive from Florida and a dinner nearby. When we arrived, we were checked in right away, but somewhat hectic with the phone ringing constantly. The man who helped us got us to a good start, but when he took a call, he was trying to multi-task and did not do a good job actually telling us where our room was located. So we had to go looking for it. Our room 119 was near the back, and we could access from the side parking lot. It was convenient for sure. When we walked in the room, first thing we noticed was a decent bed, but mostly concrete walls. We felt the room was just added on to some outside area and painted the walls and put some furniture in. The bathroom was very tight, and we could barely open and close the door and squeeze ourselves in and out. The room felt just cold and not welcome. Gray wall was not helping much. Because our rear window faced the highway, the noise level was very high. Also, since the entrance door is technically the outside, the noise level of people talking outside smoking and walking by was just simply unbearably loud. To get to the ice machine, we had to go back to the front desk area and walk outside to get there. Same thing with breakfast. We walked outside to get there. We didn't really get a good sleep due to all of the noises. Unfortunately, I would not stay at this location again. For $105 including taxes, it was not worth it.

« Nice hotel but bathroom is terrible »

We recently stayed here for spring break. While the hotel was newer is seemed "cheap" but nice. The breakfast was ok, your average breakfast items daily. The breakfast woman was exceptional. The bathroom layout is TERRIBLE! The sink is outside of the bathroom door so if you are trying to get ready before your family is awake it's bright and noisy. The shower and toilet area are behind a bathroom door but you have to go behind the door to close it since it is very tight! Other than that the hotel met the needs we were seeking.

    5
« Super staff and hotel »

This was the host hotel for a dog competition I attended. Usually I steer clear of those. In this case, you wouldnt even have known there were dogs in the hotel. A nice green space and pickup station was provided. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Rooms spacious and spotless and the breakfast buffet was exvellent. They even provide "go bags" if you have to leave before breakfast! I cant recommend this hotel highly enough!! Just wonderful from start to finish.

    « Great location »

« Nice new make over! »

I went for this hotel, even though several others around, based on the reviews and pricing. Under $100 for the night and everything has been recently renovated. The staff was excellent, especially Kay! There were several folks with dogs booked there for some competition in town, but after an early evening of LOTS of barking, it was generally quiet all the rest of the night.

« Clean, comfortable and quiet »

Bowling Green, where the National Corvette Museum is located, was our last destination place of our 2,600 mile road trip. We were here for one night and of utmost importance is that the property is clean, comfortable and quiet. This Best Western met all of our requirements. And check in was great. The front desk person was waiting for us to check in as she is a big Laura Ingalls Wilder fan. (Note, my name is a mere coincidence, but somewhere way, way, way back in time there is a connection) I enjoyed our conversation as she had so much knowledge about the family. The bed was comfortable, good work area for my laptop. Bathroom was a bit tight but manageable. Only complaint - the toilets do not flush very well.

    « Overnight stay »

The décor is very nice. Room was clean, The bathroom was very very small. The problem that I had was the height of the bed. Being 5'3 I had an extremely hard time getting in the bed. After trying several times I finally called the front desk to ask for a step stool. I was told they had to check to see if one was available as the clerk said she thought they were all in use. within a few minutes they brought one to the room. It seems as if I wasn't the only person who had that problem. My husband even had a difficult time with the height of the bed and he is 5'10 but we are seniors and don't have the bounce we used too. LOL The breakfast was fine.

    « Interesting Renovation »

This Clarion hotel has been recently renovated. It's very nice but seems to have the potential to quickly go downhill. The quality of the rooms (although they look great) just isn't the best. The rooms are probably a bit smaller that we are used to -- especially the bathroom. The bathroom has a stool and tub with shower but it's so small it's hard to close the door. Having the vanity separate is nice though. The beds are comfortable and the linens clean and fresh. The road noise is very annoying. Ask to be AWAY from interstate noise. Supposedly the even number rooms are a bit bigger than odd numbers. The breakfast is the standard hot and cold items but quite edible. We were pleased for $76 and would return. Very friendly, cooperative staff.

    « Road trip »

This is a nice, new hotel. We thought our room was on the small side. Bathroom was also small. Kay at reception was great! Welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend. Breakfast was good, although cereal choices too sweet. My only concern for this place is that things are already starting to break and they have only been open for four months.

« Newly Remodeled, clean and convenient for stop on our way south »

Picked this hotel because of reviews on tripadvisor...and the price $85 + taxes and fees. This hotel looks new, but I believe it was remodeled very recently. We had a two room suite, The second room had a sleeper sofa/no bed, but had a fridge, micro and separate bath. So we had plenty of space. Room was very clean, floors are mostly hard surfaces except for a small area of carpet under the beds and in front of the couch. Typical breakfast...food was just warm....so I was a bit Leary. Only think I didn't like was the rooms are only accessible from the outside... Would stay here again as it is an easy on and off the freeway.

I would stay here again and I would also highly recommend for others to stay here. Full breakfast buffet, too!

    « Wonderful hotel experience! »

We spent two nights at this hotel. Upon arrival, the staff was so helpful and considerate. The hotel is immaculate and newly remodeled. The breakfast area is modern with booths and tables. The attendant gave me a newspaper to read and went around offering biscuits and gravy to the guests. This is the first time in a long time I have felt valued as a guest at a hotel. I travel often, and stay at nice hotels. I am happy to say that you will not be disappointed if you stay at this hotel!

Newly renovated hotel was very comfortable. Beds looked & felt new. Very clean, plenty of towels. We could hear the highway outside, but closing the curtains helped a lot. Hot breakfast was nice...biscuits & gravy, omelets, sausage, fruit..

« Restful night 1 HR from Nashville »

Lovely new hotel right off 65. Friendly staff, extremely clean hotel. Safe, peaceful exit. Taxes were much cheaper here than next few exits. Free hot breakfast. Nice pool which wish we had a few more hours to enjoy. Fresh popcorn nice touch in evening.

    « Nice new hotel »

Everything is new and tastefully decorated. The hot breakfast is a big plus compared to some other hotels. It is located in an area with a lot of other hotels. I was impressed. The only slight negative is its close proximity to I-65 and you can hear some of the traffic but that would't stop me from returning.

« Great place to stay »

Wanted to stay in Bowling Green while visiting Nashville and the Corvette Assembly Plant and Museum. Chose the BW based on great reviews. The property did not disappoint. Kay at the front desk was great. Room was better than expected- but faced the interstate and was a bit noisy- so would recommend asking for a room on the side facing away from the highway.

    « Our Newest Favorite!! »

We were on a 10-day, 5 hotel trip. This was our first hotel of the trip and also our final hotel of the trip. We LOVED IT!!! We stayed in two different rooms, at two different ends of the motel. Both rooms were 2 Queen beds so the rooms were only slightly different. Both rooms were exceptionally clean, well stocked, well appointed, & nicely decorated. We noticed very little noise from outside our room. No noise from the Interstate or "door slams" from adjacent rooms. If every hotel I could stay at was a hotel like this one...that would make me very happy indeed. Courteous, knowledgeable staff. Spacious seating for breakfast (approx 30 seats). Breakfast was a full hot (scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, waffles) delight. There were cold cereal choices, hot oatmeal, muffins, etc. They have two desks in the lobby for business traveler needs plus WiFi in each room. Also in the lobby is a "formal" lounge area with fireplace & tv and at the other end of the lobby is an informal tv lounge, close to the elevator. I paid $2 dollars less for this hotel than I did for the worst hotel we stayed at on this trip!!! This was by far the best hotel (outside of the Hilton) that we stayed at this trip. They also have a workout room which helps to keep my new knees in shape! This hotel has been remodeled and their 90 day state inspection occurred in mid-October. There is a "funny" smell to the hotel upon first arrival. During our second stay, I figured out that it was all of the "new" smells blending together. Our new favorite for this area!!!!

« Great Hotel Must Stay »

This is a new hotel that opened in June 2016 . The rooms are decorated very nice. the town has lots of places you can eat. One of the best things to see is the Corvette Factory you will need to buy your tickets at the museum first and to see if you are able to get on the tour. Everyone is very helpful at the hotel and you could find a better place to stay in the area. Great Hotel

« A very nice, clean hotel - well worth the value »

We were looking for an overnight stay on our way from Indiana to Alabama. Originally we were going to stop just outside of Louisville, but continued on another hour or so. This hotel was a nice surprise. Bright decor, nice staff and a good breakfast for my overnight stay.

    « NEWLY REMODLED »

Warm welcoming staff. Fresh and clean with very nice decor in and outside of room. The breakfast area is large, with variety of seating options. The food was good and well presented with many options. Popcorn in the evening was a nice touch.

    « Okay hotel »

As I was waiting in line the guest in front of me was explaining her bad experience with this hotel the night before. I was concerned but was pleasantly surprised. From desk people are amazing. Kim and I believe Mary were awesome. The rooms were recently remodeled and were nice. Though some of the workmanship was poor. The bathroom was laid out nice. Yes I would stay here again.

    « One night stay »

We opted to stay at the Best Western for the night on our way to TN. We were welcomed by Kay at the reception desk and she was very friendly. The room was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good for hotel breakfast. We would stay here again if in the area.

« Winner on all counts »

Let me start by saying I travel a decent amount. Three hotels just on this trip. Kay is easily the best front desk clerk I've ever encountered. So friendly, so helpful, just a wonderful interaction. I'm pretty sure this is a new renovation and it shows. They did a nice job. Bed was great, shower head was great, I have no complaints at all. Hampton Inn is my usual go to hotel but this Best Western meets or exceeds their high standards. That's saying something. And all that at a much lower price. Stay here if you're staying in Bowling Green.

    « NICE HOTEL - HORRIBLE 1st ROOM »

After my 2nd call to front desk, 1st call about opened food on night stand, 2nd call about opened soap at sink, the lady came up and inspected sheets (one bed only), verified they were clean and new to room. She left and I felt a little bit better about the room. Approximately 30 minutes later, I pulled sheets back on bed#2. That is when I discovered CRUSTED BODY FLUIDS and BODY HAIR!!!! YUCK - wanted to amputate my hand that touched it and still want to vomit when I think about it!!! Someone had used this room between cleaning or the staff made the beds up with the old sheets! DISGUSTING! After the 2nd call, and the sheet inspection of bed#1, the lady informed me that they'd move us but they didn't have any vacant rooms but the sheets had obviously been laundered. After the third call and the DRIED BODY FLUIDS and HAIR found in bed#2, she moved us to another room. Thankfully it was clean. Beautiful hotel and 2nd room was very nice, much smaller, but clean!!!! She'd informed me of a 10% discount she'd give. At check out, the $10, not 10% was removed per each of the 2 nights we stayed, but further down the bill, it was added back on as a $20 charge (null and void). So, I asked the lady about it at check out and she fixed it. DANG! Isn't it bad enough that I had to touch THAT and now have to hear my husband and son still laughing at me regarding my reaction (disgusting!!!!!). Of course my husband wasn't happy when it was expected of HIM to change the SHEETS! Man at desk wanted to give us clean sheets - we don't work for BEST WESTERN! This is only our second stay at a Best Western (last in June 2016 in Dallas TX - older hotel - but CLEAN and excellent breakfast and wonderful STAFF). Not sure if I'll ever return to this hotel! Bad MEMORIES! My rating on service, value, sleep quality, cleanliness, location, and rooms, is based on the 2nd room we were given. I don't believe that our experience was a typical stay here. This hotel has been recently remodeled and very attractive in layout and appearance.

It was 99 a night. Can't beat the price. Yes it was remodelled, but they must of done it quick. Trim, drywall work, etc. Was sub par. Even the sign that says the floor number was crooked as all get out. Staff was nice, breakfast was good as well. Would stay again.

« New Hptel with great staff! »

I did not stay here, but stopped for assistance. Hannah on the front desk was extremely helpful and knew the area well. She allowed me access to their business centre so that I may obtain a couple of reports from my e-mail. Next time through this area, I will stay at this hotel.

    « Handicap accsesable »

A nice and clean room that was easily accsesable for a scooter with a short distance to the room. The air and refrigerator was not working but desk clerk was able to get them going. The backside of the hotel faces the expressway and is noisy. breakfast was too late for us at 6:30 central time and 7:30 our time because we wanted to get through Nashville before rush hour.

    « Recent Remodel »

Great free breakfast bar in the morning. Ladies that worked that area kept it very well stocked and were friendly. It is very convenient to the interstate. We stayed on pool side which had an exterior door to the parking lot which was a safety concern for me. I would stay again but request an interior room. Recently remodeled. Nice lobby and breakfast area. Very friendly staff.

My husband and I had a great stay here. The rooms were extremely comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast had a great variety and the food was hot. The hotel is also located very close to the mall and serval restaurants. Will definitely stay again.

Stayed one night in Bowling Green as we were traveling through Ky. The property seems to been rather new or recently remodeled. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a very good selection at the breakfast. For our quick overnight stay it was perfect. I would recommend this place to others

    « Nice »

After visiting the Corvette assembly plant and national museum (which were interesting tourist attractions), my family and I drove seven miles to the Best Western Bowling Green hotel. Upon arrival, we parked about 15 feet from our room's entrance on the first floor facing the parking lot. The check-in took about five minutes since the competent front desk clerk redeemed my Best Western travel cards, instead of taking time in the morning to do so. We were given room 135, a suite which has a bedroom consisting of two queen beds, with a sofabed in the adjoining living room that has a door which separates the two rooms. Room 135 was big and clean. This property has been completely renovated by its new owners. It has an elevator and a pool. I used the exercise facility, which is open 24 hours. All the equipment worked well. Located on each side of this hotel are two places to eat, a Ryans Buffet and a Cracker Barrel restaurant. In the morning, the free breakfast located next to the lobby consisted of scrambled eggs, meat, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, oatmeal, breads, fruit, coffee and juices, plus a few other items. It was indeed a full breakfast. What stood out was that at 9:30 a.m., which is when breakfast is over, the breakfast host went around to each table to ask if we needed anything else before she started to put the food away. It is simple gestures like this that make a property stand out. Moreover, in the lobby was a popcorn machine that had complimentary fresh popcorn for the guests. There were also local newspapers and USA Today newspapers lying on a table in the lobby. Since I am a Best Western diamond select member with around 600 stays at various Best Western properties, I can say with confidence based on my vast experience that this hotel could easily pass as a Best Western Plus. Upon check-out, which only took two minutes, I had the opportunity to speak with the co-owner, Parju Jariwala. He was friendly, professional, and intelligent. Without any doubt, I will be staying at this Best Western hotel again when in the Bowling Green area. I highly recommend this property.

Stayed at hotel while visiting the corvette factory and museum. Hotel was conveniently located to both, and reasonably priced. Hotel staff were great. Kay, the overnight manager, and Mary, the morning buffet worker, were spectacular in their efforts to help and insure everything went well within their areas of responsibility. Don't hesitate to stay at this location. Be sure to request a room facing away from the interstate highway for a quieter night. Bob

« Good for the price »

The rooms are nice/updated and the breakfast was pretty good. The tub didn't drain fast enough for the shower and the door threshold was missing. We let the front desk know (very nice man) and he assured us it would be fixed for the next guest. Overall, it was a good, updated hotel with friendly staff.

    « Great Stay! »

We were in town for my cousin's baby shower, stayed here last night, and had a wonderful experience. The room was spacious, very clean and new, and right by the outdoor pool. The pool was fun. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were great, especially Kay and Trista at check in, and Mary and Teri at breakfast. There was a great selection at breakfast and the food was really good. My daughter can be picky but she ate a lot! We'll definitely stay here again.

    « Disappointed »

I booked on line for a king size bed. When we arrived, we were told that only the 1st floor had king size. We really didn't want the first floor, especially with a direct entrance to the parking lot. We opted for this when we were assured it was safe. The alternative offered was 2 Queen beds on an upper floor. Unfortunately, the drapes weren't large enough to cover the window and the outside security light kept me awake most of the night. The garbage dumpster outside was emptied at 4am and woke my wife. I was awake because of the light. The bathtub plug drain didn't work either. The room was small and cramped. This seemed odd as the hotel was just updated within the past 3 months. The staff was excellent, but we were disappointed in the room. Can't comment on the breakfast - we left before it was available at 6:00 They did offer something to take with us but we declined. Overall, this was the worst hotel on our 5 day road trip.

« Last night of vacation »

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Had concerns with the first room given to us, but was quickly offered a second room and we were beyond satisfied. The bathrooms are very small, would be the only complaint I had. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel itself was very clean. The pool area looked wonderful, but not warm enough temperature for us old folks to get in (expected for end of September). We would definitely stay again at this hotel. Breakfast was good. They just re-opened and we wish them the best of luck.

I was on a multi-day trip with the National Guard. This location had parking for an 8-vehicle convoy. The rooms were nice. Had a bathtub!!!! We stayed once on the way down and once on way back. It was great, there was a Chamber of Commerce meeting when we walked in the first day and everyone clapped as we walked in. It was catered by Qudoba and they shared with everyone. Delish!

    « New, Nice place »

Very nice place overall and the price offered on their app was fair. Bed is comfortable with fantastic, numerous pillows. My only negative comments would be about the shrinking sizes of hotel rooms in newer places, and a seeming lack of planning a new hotel to include modern USB ports for phone charging, etc. Given that I've been in many older hotels that have retrofitted their rooms it's hard to believe a designer wouldn't seize the opportunity to include new technology when it's easiest to do so. Entryway was noticeably smaller and felt confining, and the bathroom had barely enough room to turn around. None of these things would keep me from staying here again, but I'd say that if this is a trend there ought to be a reevaluation of the star system....I believe this is 2.5 stars but I've stayed in 2 star hotels with more amenities and space.

« Be ready to jump! »

Quite an interesting hotel room. Our room was even numbered. Our daughter and son-in-law was odd numbered. Our room had about 3 feet more space than theirs did. Hmm. The sink is outside the toilet/tub area which is nice. The toilet area has no exhaust fan and is so small, that in order to close the door you almost have to stand in the tub. I find this intresting knowing this is a new hotel. The beds are comfortable once you get into them. A stepstool would have been handy. The bed is elevated so high that you really could use a boost to get into it. Temperature is difficult to control. Even though we set it at 70 degrees it was still pretty warm.Even though the hotel was almost full, we did not hear any noise in the halls or other rooms. Breakfast was adequate, nothing special. Popcorn of an evening was a nice touch. Front desk was most accomodating and friendly.Check in and out was fast and we were invited back.

« One night in Bowling Green »

This is a brand new hotel. It has been in operation for 11 or 12 weeks. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They provided popcorn in the evening which isn't a big thing, but it is the type of little item that makes the stay more enjoyable. The location is in an area with other hotels and it is easy to find. Access to other locations in Bowling Green was easy from the hotel.

« Great Suite, staff, pool and breakfast »

We stayed in a non-smoking suite for three days. It was located outside at the end of a breezeway. It had two queen beds in one room and a couch (hide-a-bed) and two arm chairs in the other room. Both rooms had mini-fridges, microwaves, bathrooms and TVs. Each bathroom was stocked with four bath towels. The bedding for the hide-a-bed was in the drawer and included sheets, a blanket and pillows (usually we have to ask for these items at other hotels). The AC worked well, the rooms were very clean and the beds had new luxury mattresses. We liked that the hotel had flooring rather than wall to wall carpeting. This didn't bother me or my children, but we did see grasshoppers on the walls of the breezeway and a couple made it into our room, so if you hate insects you might want to request an upper room. There were a couple of minor defects in our room which did not take away from our enjoyment of the stay: a smoke alarm was missing from one room (mounting plate was present but no smoke alarm), the door connecting the suite only had a knob on one side, there was a place on the wall where the paint was scrapped off, and the shower drains were slow. Check in and check out was fast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They all seemed to enjoy their work and have a positive, can-do attitude. The breakfast buffet was very clean, the food was fresh and an attendant was present to quickly restock any items running low. There were two waffle irons, one that made a big waffle and one that made four individual waffles. There were separate toppings to put on the waffles (including white and chocolate chips, whipped cream, blueberry topping and strawberry topping). There were also toppings for the eggs (shredded cheese, salsa and jalapenos). I was impressed by the large selection of food (though it was the same from day to day). I was also impressed by the choice of seating in the breakfast area which included booths large enough for six people. The seasonal outdoor pool was crystal clear and we enjoyed swimming. Oddly enough, when our family was swimming we had people from separate rooms that overlooked the pool starring at us while we were swimming. There were snack items for sale by the front desk. There was also free popcorn in the lobby in the evenings. There were two large flat screen computers available in the business center. The wi-fi was free and fast. All-in-all this was a great place to stay and I highly recommend it.

« Brand new, clean, great beds, terrific breakfast. »

Best Western is not usually on my list, but this one was handy, and well priced. It turned out to be quite newly built. Very clean, very quiet, wonderful beds. Located just off the interstate, quick on/off and food nearby. Definitely will stay again if in the area. Be aware, Bowling Green puts a heavy room tax on travelers. Just getting some of that transient money.

Very convenient, just off I 65 & about 10 minutes from WKU. Looks to be a new property, very clean and above average amenity's. Comfortable beds with large televisions in room. Excellent hot breakfast, it's kept stocked despite a heavy demand. No negatives at all to this place.

Brand new hotel, very nice. Decorated very nicely and extremely modern. Furnishings were very nice and tasteful.. Extremely clean and comfortable after a long day on the road. Very easy to get to and a lot of places to eat. Would have liked a little more light at the vanity area, but other than that no complaints. What staff we dealt with were extremely professional courteous, nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend to others.

« the smallest bathroom ever »

the hotel is located right off i-65 on scottsville where one finds a plenty of restaurants and stores. it is clean. our room had 2 queens and was of a reasonable size. but it had the smallest bathroom i have seen in any hotel in the us. the toilet is right next to the bathtub. the door opens inside leaving about 2 inch space between the toilet and the bathtub. the shower also was functioning poorly. also, for breakfast i would want to have cooked oatmeal (as in other bw's or hamptons) not a packet of dry stuff...

    « Fabulous Customer Service/Beautiful Facility »

You all have the friendliest and most courteous staff. Hannah looked up directions and if the local Chick Fil A was still open so I could get dinner upon my late arrival. She gave great directions and was really nice. Kay was a breath of fresh air and the friendliest face first thing in the morning and helped me navigate the coffee machine and reviewed directions with me and made sure I had a snack for my later travels. Terri from the kitchen served up fresh biscuits and gravy and was the sweetest. Thanks again for your service to our country Terri! The facility is new, it is beautiful inside and out. It smelled lovely of a fresh, clean and welcoming scent. The room was meticulous and had everything you could need. It was the best overnight I have had and the friendliest and most helpful staff I've ever encountered. Thank you! = )

« Best Western, Bowling Green, Kentucky »

Stayed at this recently remodeled facility on 8/21/16. Good job remodeling but I believe a little more money should have been invested to make it top notch. A new shower head is needed in room 116 along with a better grade of windows should have been installed as the highway noise was still noticeable. Overall it was good, not the best Best Western I have stayed at.

We were only staying one night. The breakfast was great! The morning staff was very polite. I will definitely be staying here again.

This hotel has been open for only two months so everything is new and spotless. Our room was very nicely sized and the beds were wonderful for a great night's sleep. One little detail I liked was the shampoo dispenser in the shower. No wasting of a bottle for a one-time shower! Check in was quick and easy and Kay gave us a little tour of the lobby and breakfast area. Very nice. They offer a nice selection for breakfast including sausage, biscuits and gravy. I particularly liked the gravy! Very nice hotel. Easy access to the interstate and nearby dining. Great food...great sleep...great value!

« One of the Best We've Stayed In »

Coming off a terrible experience the previous two nights from an upper scale hotel, we pulled in tired and hungry to this Best Western. Sitting in a sea of hotels, we picked it because of its room rates and because of having had a good experience at a different Best Western in another state. It's the best choice we've made in a long time. Friendly staff greeted us and when we requested the quietest room they had, they gladly accommodated us. They also directed us to the public computers in the lobby when we couldn't find our membership ID number. The surroundings were peaceful, clean, and tastefully decorated, with a welcome coffee bar and popcorn. There was an outdoor swimming pool to the outside of the lobby. Our room was clean, adequate and best of all, very quiet. We walked to the Cracker Barrel next door, since the hotel has no restaurant, but there were a whole strip of choices just up the street, from sit down restaurants to bars to fast food. You can walk to some of them, but it is a busy road up there (but not by the hotel). The strip also includes shopping choices, drug store, markets, and more. The beds were extremely comfortable. The only difficulty with the room complex was the toilet area, which is separate from the washbasin area. You can get into the toilet area, but when you try to close the door, it is a VERY tight squeeze. If the door had been hung to open outwards, the problem would have been solved. And we loved that instead of wrestling with little shampoo bottles, there were separate shampoo and conditioner dispensers on the shower wall. It would have been nice to have had a body gel dispenser also, instead of bar soap. But other than that, the room was great. Our floor had a washer and dryer nook at the opposite end by the elevator. There is free wifi, unlike the pricey hotel we had previously stayed at, and a free continental breakfast. The breakfast area was very clean, with various types of food including a waffle maker, and a lot of toppings for them, which you don't see just everywhere. The woman setting out breakfast things had a smile for everyone and made sure that everyone was comfortable and taken care of. We will be in this area again, and we will DEFINITELY stay here.

« Great time in Bowling Green KY »

This was an unexpected surprise, when we got to the hotel how nice it was. Great Breakfast items to choose from. Service with a smile. At check the staff was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. Showed us around the hotel and made us feel very welcome. Rooms were so nice. It always makes for a nice visit when you have nothing to worry about related to your hotel. Clean and very nice large rooms.

« great value for price »

The hotel appeared to be recently remodeled. The rooms were very clean and quiet, despite the proximity to the interstate. Plenty of dining options nearby and the free breakfast was as good as any I've had elsewhere. Overall a very positive experience. Definitely stay there again.

    « Excellent location »

This motel has only been open about 8 weeks, staff is friendly & sincere about their duties. We were there for 2 nights and it was an excellent stay. I went down to the lobby for coffee and while talking with the staff I laughed about the height of the bed and like magic they pulled out a step stool. Also have have free popcorn in the lobby. Nice.

The breakfast was good. The breakfast ladies, Mary and Terry were wonderful. Very nice hotel. Would definitely stay there again. They do have coin operated laundry I used the washer and dryer. They worked good. It was also clean. Friendly staff.

    « Wow »

Place is absolutely great! Friendly staff, a continental breakfast that is one of the best with the most options of any I've had. The rooms are clean. A nice outdoor pool that is always stocked with towels. Your right off the main drag going through Bowling Green. The prices are great and we will definitely be back. You are only minutes away from Western Kentucky University if your visiting your child. Well done Best Western and thank you from our family.

    « Great, updated BW »

Stayed one night, two queen beds on the second floor. Really great, updated Best Western. I haven't stayed at a Best Western in some time, however this was a pleasant surprise. The hotel was completely renovated. The room was clean and nicely decorated; it was quiet and comfortable as well. The breakfast was very good, plenty to eat of eggs, hash browns, fruit and waffles. The lady making the breakfast was really nice and she did a great job. I would stay here again.

    « Super clean Hotel »

The cleanest Hotel I've ever stayed in.....great staff. The bed was really comfortable. The pool was cleaned every day, the breakfast was hot and fresh. I came down after breakfast hours and they still made food available for me. Parking was free and convenient, and plenty of good restaurants nearby.

    « Damp Noisy room! »

We stayed overnight en route to southern Alabama from Michigan. Normally we stay at a hotel across the street, but we decided to check this one out due to the great reviews. We stayed in room 110 as it was a pet friendly room. The room was so damp and humid that even our bedding felt wet. It was also a very noisy room as you could hear the traffic on the interstate all night long. We were next to the pool therefore we could hear the people in the pool. One issue may be that our door had gaps all around it that we could see daylight through. We just could not get the room cooled off and get the dampness out of it. The reason I even gave it 2 stars is because the rooms are new and updated and the staff was friendly. We will not stay in this hotel again.

« Great newly remodeled hotel »

We reserved seven rooms for one night with a group of Boy Scouts. Everyone on staff was so nice. The hotel is tastefully decorated, looks very modern, and everything looks brand new. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. Several in the group took advantage of the pool and they really enjoyed it. The breakfast has plenty of hot and cold items and was delicious. Thanks for a great stay!

    « Brand New Hotel »

Brand new hotel----Room are quiet and clean and the beds was comfortable. The front attendant was polite and willing to offer suggestions for area attractions and restaurants. The location was easy to find

    4
    « Comfortable room »

We were met by friendly staff. No problems with the room. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast area was clean and inviting. My room was located at the back of the hotel on the second floor, so after checking in we used the rear entry. I did notice that the stairwell at that entry had a dirty diaper and what looked like a bag of chips spread out on the steps. This remained there during our stay from about 4:00 one day until 9:30 the next morning. Not that this was the worst that I have seen, but something the cleaning staff should have noticed. Additionally, the fire door to the stair well was propped open with a wooden wedge. This is a recently reopened hotel. As with any new business, there will be issues that will be corrected in time. Although I noted a couple of issues, it would not prevent me from returning. The rear stairwell condition was not indicative of what you will see elsewhere.

I am not capable of writing two hundred words concerning an room. hotel We chose the room because of its location in Bowling Green Ky. and because it was a Best Western of which I am a reward card holder. My wife and I and our grand daughter all enjoyed our stay and would stay again if the room were about $15. cheaper and if we had a need to stay a night in Bowling Green.

« Newest Hotel at the best rate »

We stayed for 1 night on way to Cincinnati Hotel was very new and top notch. Breakfast was better than average. Beds were extremely comfy. I saved this hotel for my future stays. Only complaints I could have would be that the toilet was extremely loud and there wasn't a Bible in the drawer next to the bed. Other than that it was a very nice Best Western.

    « Nice New Hotel »

I stopped overnight in Bowling Green, KY on my way home to Michigan. I have stayed in several hotels in Bowling Green and found most of them average at best. This being a new hotel was very clean and everything was new. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

« Great Service, great stop »

Traveling from Nashville and looking for a clean affordable nights sleep. This hotel was clean, new, and the service was exceptional. Every person that worked there was friendly, helpful and genuinely happy. Breakfast was fresh and the variety was very good. I would highly recommend this hotel.

    « New hotel »

This is a very new hotel and was very clean. The breakfast was very good with above average variety. The rooms seem smaller than the other 3 best westerns we had stayed at on this trip, but not unbearable. You can defiantly tell that they refurbished some materials when looking at details but overall very impressive.

« Great place to stay! »

Went to the Corvette Museum with the family. Stayed here and it was very nice. The staff could have not been more helpful and friendly. The hotel opened about 6 wks ago so it was, of course, new and clean. The beds were very comfortable. Didn't check out the pool or fitness room. Breakfast was very good. Eggs, sausage, waffles, fruit, biscuits and gravy. Food was fresh and Hotmail only complaint was that the rooms and bathroom are very small. Would definitely stay here again.

    « Summer 2016 »

Beautiful new hotel. Great service from all the staff. Hot breakfast, includes eggs, biscuits, sausage, cereal, rolls, gravy, etc. The pool looked great, too late for us to try it out, maybe next time. There was a small snack bar at the check in custormer service desk!! Loved it!

    « Great stay »

The room had recently been refurbished and was very nice. Getting rid of bedspreads is a welcome change. The room seemed dark at first, but then decided the grey walls and other colors were were restful. Would cavelike an ice machine on the second floor rather than have to go to the first or third floors.

    5
    « Really Well Done »

The staff could not be more helpful or friendly. The front lobby, the maintenance guy, the kitchen person, and the check out people were all exceptional. I was welcomed in mid evening after a long drive and this really friendly lady made sure I had everything I could possibly need for my room and took the time to show me the location as it was a brief walk around the corner. Although my window was nearest the interstate, I did not have a problem with interstate noise which surprised me. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This hotel was just opened less than a month ago. A nice hotel close to downtown. Lots of nice restaurants downtown and close to the university. Easy to get around. I would stay at this hotel again and would recommend to others. Several other hotels close by to choose from, but feel you couldn't go wrong here.

Best Western Bowling Green offered a well-appointed, nearly brand-new room; very comfortable, truly good food and nice selection in the breakfast bar; very alert, friendly, helpful and readily accessible staff. Good location. Warmly accepted my well-behaved dog for a reasonable additional fee. Keeping up the good standards and reputation of Best Western I've always felt comfortable trusting.

We ended up in Bowling Green unexpectedly and loved this brand new hotel (approx 20 days old as of July 2016)...nice and clean, friendly staff, great room, awesome shower and so many options for free breakfast with a cute seating area including booths. They have a waffle maker and biscuits and gravy among other things! We would definitely stay here again.

« Updated to modern style »

Rooms had all the necessary amenities including:hair dryer, fridge, microwave and shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower. Lighting could be brighter at the sink mirror. Room was fine for an overnight but crowded. Breakfast had many offerings. Very clean.

    3
    « Missing Amenities »

The advertised pool was unavailable (drained), no eggs and sausage available for "hot breakfast," (ran out and no more were provided when my wife asked for them), beds were too high for a short person (my wife again) to climb onto easily.

    « Absolutely Perfect! »

We had the distinct pleasure of staying the night at this superb hotel. Our stay was absolutely perfect. From the kind, courteous, and professional staff, to the meticulous, comfortable rooms, and common areas. It was clean, stylish and the breakfast buffet was better than what we expected. Our experience was great, with excellent service, attentive and efficient staff. I could go on but suffice it to say we were very pleased with our stay, and although short and sweet this time, we hope to be back for a longer visit in the future

    « Great Experience!! »

The staff was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean. Kids loved the pool! The breakfast bar was above and beyond. Our trip did not start off well but this hotel and staff turned everything around.

« Nice new (appearing) hotel »

This Best Western was a very nice, new (apparently recently remodeled), clean hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and even the owner was there on a Sunday morning at 7am, checking to see if everything was ok. The room was nice but compact. It was nice having two queen beds as opposed to doubles. I was surprised (and a little upset) that for ~$160/night there were no Kleenex (facial tissues) in the room. The dispenser was not empty, there was no dispenser or place for a dispenser. The free breakfast was the standard free breakfast food, nothing great, nothing bad.

« Beacon in the Night!! »

We started trying to find a hotel in Atlanta and travelling all the way to Bowling Green found every single hotel full. We did find one in Georgia that was filthy and sent us back out into the night! We called every hotel all the way up the interstate and another hotel chain (that was full) actually recommended this hotel. They said that it was new and clean and probably had rooms. We called and Thankfully got the last room! It was, as promised, clean and new. The staff was so nice! The breakfast bar was wonderful. It was a full, hot breakfast!! We would recommend and would go back to it ourselves!

    « Very pleasant »

« Great hotel and Staff »

We had an excellent experience during our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and had a large variety of items. The cleanliness and styling of the building and rooms are very appealing and easy on the eyes. The hotel is newly remodeled in a great location not far from many restaurants and attractions.

Very nice property with a complete remodel. The staff is very nice. Our stay started on the first day they opened for business after the remodel. There were a few minor issues that are to be expected with a complete remodel, but they were taken care of. Very nice property and wonderful, caring staff.

« Redone, New Ownership, - and Amazing »

We just randomly stopped in bowling green KY for the night and pulled up to best western not knowing the whole town was booked out due to a car show and the Best Western was doing a soft opening and had only been open for 24 hours to the public. The hotel has been redone beautifully. It is a hotel I'd expect to see in a large city like Denver or Chicago. The rooms are gorgeous and the continental breakfast was over the top (even without the waffle mix that was still being shipped for the opening). The owner was gracious. They are still in the process of getting in all of their furniture for their grand opening - plans for a pool table in the lobby as well as a bar area for nightly drinks. Without all of that this place exceeded all expectations. The rooms were clean and when we left an orthopedic pillow they awesomely held it for a few days until we could have it picked up.

It was an excellent experience. The hotel was wonderful, the breakfast bar was outstanding. the staff was courteous and helpful with directions in the area, any needs in the hotel. « Good location and luxurious for the local »

Pretty basic best western but for the local it's pretty luxurious. I had checked out of a local motel to get better a commendations and was glad I did. It's clean and in a good location for Bowling green and Wauchula. Staffs friendly and helpful. Has an outdoor pool and hot tub. Continental breakfast, coffee was week but they made another pot after our suggestions. I highly recommend Paul's kitchen about 8 m away in Wauchula. I wrote a review on that also and have it 5 stars. Family country fare, big portions, great food and great price. Also might try Main Street grill for a drink and karaoke on Friday nights. They have some impressive young local people who participate. Girls line dancing, it was a lot of fun to watch and listen. I'm from Naples and I really liked this Little community and it's a nice motorcycle ride from here.

« Angry managers and vandalized vehicle »

We rented the room early in the day this past Sat. They charged us $25 extra dollars for doing so. As soon as we paid we left to go sightseeing at some of the caves and did not go to the room until that evening. We immediately asked for a room change as it did not have a lock, no cord for the TV, and microwave was just plopped on a table. My husband asked why they charged the extra money and they kept saying she signed for it. My husband said forget it and went to the new room but they kept calling us. We told them to stop and they finally did. The next morning when we were packing up our vehicle we noticed the damage. Someone had bent the license plate up, scratched both headlights, stole my American flag magnet, scratched all the way to bare metal to get the American flag sticker off, and did something to make the driver side signal light not to work. When I told the manager and asked to see the camera he said that camera was pointed at the ceiling and didn't see anything. He was not interested in helping us in anyway or seemed concerned. Not going to stay there again.

    « Clean room »

Decent stay, the room was nice and clean. Breakfast was pretty poor, not much to choose from. The staff was nice and friendly when we checked in. We didn't have a chance to go for a swim but the pool did look nice and inviting. Our room faced the side closest to the interstate, the sound was hardly noticeable.

    « changing over to a regency »

I booked this hotel months ago and it was a clarion, it is now a regencgy. Staff was nice on check in. There are holes in the side of the building and in the wall of our hallway. The room was very clean and comfortable but there was a big spotlight in the parking lot that shone right into our room, impossible to block out. Breakfast was offered but there was next to nothing offered for food. Almost everything was empty and we were there right when they opened. Coffee in one of the carafs was ice cold, if it was supposed to be cold it should be marked. I'm hoping they are just adjusting to the change over but right now I can't recommend them

    5
    « very pleasant property »

Check in was very efficiently handled; clerk was excellent. We had just gotten off the road and were greeted with a bottle of cold water. That really hit the spot and was an indication that we were going to have a nice stat. The front desk personnel were quite helpful with directions to places we wanted to visit. A plus was a Cracker Barrel right next to the motel. We were there for 4 days and enjoyed everyone of them. The beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend this property.
